What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
General Hospital
Carly takes in being back home. She missed the afternoon light, and someone has been smoking cigars in the house. Sonny asks if she’s mad at him, but she thinks it’s wonderful.
Francesca tells Elizabeth she’s been going through a lot. Elizabeth tells her not to be nervous, and just tell the truth. Ava asks to speak with Elizabeth. She says Franco is looking more intense than usual. Elizabeth says he’s probably just checking in. Ava thinks it might be counterproductive to annoy Kiki’s attorney before the trial starts. Franco tells Alexis that he’s trying to share vital information. Alexis says they’ll talk later; she’s about to try a case. He says, a case she’ll lose if they don’t talk right now.
Jordan and Curtis talk on separate phones. Jordan asks why Curtis wanted to meet at the MetroCourt. Is he working a case there? He says they’ve been busy, and he thought they could reconnect. Jordan says she’s in the middle of four cases, and has no time. The next we see them, they’re in bed.
Alexis asks Franco what’s so important that he’s interrupting her one second before the trial? It better be good. He says she has a potential midfield on her hands, and there’s one question she can’t ask. The judge comes in, and Alexis tells Franco to sit.
Sonny asks if Carly feels better, and she says, much. Lockup was a picnic compared to Ferncliff. She marvels at how easy it seems when you know you’re being released. Sonny says he’s sorry, but she says Nelle is a full out psycho; it’s on her. She didn’t see it coming. He says none of them did. She says now Michael is grieving. She knows the baby’s death wasn’t caused by the accident, but she blames Nelle. Sonny suggests they don’t give her any more time and energy. Carly agrees they have better things to focus on, and asks if Diane is getting Jason released. Sonny says she’s working on it, and Carly tells him it was fun in lockup. They talked all night long. Mike comes in, and Sonny says, look who’s home. Carly says she missed him.
Alexis says the defendant is a respected physician with impeccable credentials. No one is questioning his expertise or commitment and compassion as a physician. He’s also sexual predator. He can be both; they’re not mutually exclusive, and she’s going to prove that. Her client was a rising med student, and looked up to him as a mentor and role model. He betrayed that trust by coercing her to have sexual relations. Having the burden of proof means she must prove his inexcusable, inappropriate behavior was severe and pervasive. She feels confident that when the jury hears what transpired, they’ll find for the plaintiff.
Scotty says Alexis is a wonderful story teller, but they’re here to establish the truth. David is innocent. He sits back down, and David says, that’s it? Scotty says, let her spin her web. He’ll catch her in it. David says he’d better. Elizabeth is called as the first witness.
Mike tells his nurse that he’s off the clock. Where’s Felix? He wants to spend time with his daughter-in-law. Sonny tells Nurse Not-Felix that they’ve got it. Mike tells Carly that she’s looking good, and asks where she’s been keeping herself?
Alexis asks Elizabeth how it happened that Kiki went from nurses’ aid to med school. Elizabeth says David observed her, and after that, sought her out. He told her that she should think about becoming a doctor. He told her about the pre-med placement program, and became her champion. When she moved on to the Shadow program, doing rotation with select doctors, David was the first doctor she was going to work with. Alexis says, that’s a big deal. Elizabeth says, it should be, but after the first rotation ended, she found Kiki crying. She told Elizabeth that David had given her a negative evaluation, trashing her. and offered to revise it if she had sex with him. Alexis asks if he’d ever behaved that way before. Elizabeth says David tried to kiss Kiki, and when she resisted, he went from being super supportive to hyper-critical. Eventually, he tried to blackmail her into having sex.
When it’s Scotty’s turn, he asks Elizabeth if she’d ever noticed inappropriate behavior on David’s part. She says, no. He asks if, in her opinion, Kiki’s review was negative. She says, just the opposite.
Epiphany takes the stand, and says that after the first rotation, Kiki asked for it to be changed for her to be with another doctor. Scotty asks if she assigned the change. She says she didn’t have the authority, and besides, Kiki changed her mind. She didn’t understand what was going on, and then realized… Scotty asks if she’s a psychic, but Epiphany says she doesn’t need to be one to know when a girl is hurting or that a good-for-nothing, pompous man is the cause of it.
Carly tells Mike that she’s been away. She didn’t know if she’d make it back to her family. It was hard, but she knew if she kept believing, she’d find a way back to the people she loves. He says, like the one with the ruby slippers. Carly says, Dorothy, and he says, right; there’s no place like home. He wishes he could click his heels and find a way back to himself. Carly says he doesn’t need magic shoes. He’ll always be him, and always be their Mike, and they’ll be his family. That’s all that matters.
On the stand, Francesca says she had excellent grades and favorable performance reviews, until David. He was hyper-critical, citing mistakes she didn’t even make, saying it was a shame to watch her career go down the drain. He said he could help turn it around, but she had to give everything she had. He said nothing in life is free, and all she had to do was have sexual relations with him. She did, and after that, he left her alone. Alexis asks what If she hadn’t complied? Francesca says he could have had her fired. Alexis asks if she slept with him to keep her job, and she says, yes.
Mike says he left the checkerboard outside. Sonny says it’s not going to rain, but he goes out anyway. Carly tells Sonny that Mike seems fragile. Sonny says in the past few weeks, Mike has been going down a little. Nothing serious, but sometimes he’s his old self and those times are starting to grow further away. They hear a crash from outside, and run out.
Scotty asks Francesca is David used any physical force. Francesca says, did he rape her? No. Scotty says so it was consensual. She chose to sleep with him to help her career. She says, to keep her job. Scotty says she hasn’t moved up. Maybe she’s upset that she didn’t get more help. Alexis says he’s badgering the witness, and he has no further questions. David says he started wondering when his lawyer would show up. In redirect, Alexis asks if Francesca knows the legal definition of coercion? (She said coercement, but apparently, that’s the wrong word, so I’m changing it. Bad Alexis.) Francesca says, no, but she knows how it feels. Alexis says, *to compel by force, intimidation, and authority. Did she want to have sex with him? Francesca says, no. Did she express any desire for a personal relationship? Again, no. Alexis asks if she complied solely because of a threat to her employment, and she says, yes. Alexis says, that is coercion. She has no further questions.
*Coercion: the use of express or implied threats of violence or reprisal (as discharge from employment) or other intimidating behavior that puts a person in immediate fear of the consequences in order to compel that person to act against his or her will.
Franco texts Alexis that they have to talk asap. Ava is on the stand, and says she got a visit from David at the gallery one night. Alexis asks if he was a regular customer, but she says it was the first time she’d seen him. She was about to close, but wanted to take the opportunity to thank him. He said Kiki had loads of potential, but he wasn’t sure handle the pressure. Alexis asks, what kind of pressure. Ava thought she knew, but the timing seems suspect. She didn’t know at the time, but that night, Kiki was filing a formal complaint. She doesn’t think it was a coincidence. David tells Scotty, tear her to pieces, but he has no questions at this time. David asks what the hell he’s doing. Scotty says making Kiki’s mother a martyr is no good for their case.
Alexis says she has one more witness – Kiki.
At the hospital, Sonny wants to see Griff; Mike fell. Stella sees them, and asks what brought Mike there. He says, nothing, but Carly tells her that he fell. Stella says it doesn’t look serious, but let someone take a look, so son and daughter-in-law won’t worry. Stella grabs a doctor, and says this is her friend; take good care of him. She asks Mike if she can come with him, and Mike says, sure. They leave, and Carly says Stella is really good with him. Sonny says Stella can do no wrong as far as Mike is concerned.
In the examining room, Mike tells Stella that he’s a big boy. She doesn’t have to hold his hand – unless she wants to. She says it’s the least she can do after he gave her such great advice. It really helped with her nephew. He wishes he knew what she was thanking him for.
Basking in the afterglow, Curtis tells Jordan they have to do this on a regular basis, so the honeymoon never ends. Jordan says there needs to be a wedding first. Once things settle down, they’ll set a date, and it will be locked in stone. He gets out of bed, saying, if they’re going to set a date weddings ain’t cheap, and he’ll be damned if he’s skimping on the honeymoon. He goes into the shower, and his phone rings. Jordan sees there’s a message from Chondra.
Kiki says David had more faith than she had in herself. He cheered her on, and gave her letters of recommendation. He told her that he recognized talent, and championed it. She was flattered. Alexis asks when her opinion changed. Kiki says after she and her boyfriend broke up, David became more personal; touchy feely. He would seek her out. She was at The Floating Rib, and he sat with her, insisting he pay for her dinner and her organic chemistry exam. Alexis says it sounds harmless; something a mentor might do. That’s what Kiki thought. She came to his office to find a textbook that he’d happened to checkout. Out of nowhere, he gave her a first edition of Gray’s Anatomy. It was rare and expensive. She didn’t want to accept it, but he insisted. There were alarm bells, but she didn’t want to offend him. He told her she’d been accepted to the Shadow program. She was thrilled, but surprised. She figured she’d thought wrong about him. She was about to apologize for thinking the worst, when he put his hands on her shoulders, and began to give her a massage. David looks pissed, as she gives him a pointed look.
Alexis asks, what happened next? Kiki says as soon as she felt his hands on her, she froze. He moved his hands to her neck, saying she was too tense, while talking about the great opportunity she had. There were few who made it, but he’d see to it. She told him stop. Alexis says, did he? Kiki says, yes. He told her that she misunderstood, and he’d thought they were on the same page. It made her second guess herself. She tried to change shifts, and not go off alone with him. He caught her in the hall, and asked her to come to his office. He insisted. Alexis asks what transpired, and Kiki says he told her she’d been selected for the Shadow program. She got in because he pushed for her. Then he grabbed her and kissed her. Then it made sense. It was all a set-up so he could get her into bed. There were other students who were more qualified, and she skipped the line because David wanted sex with her. She told him to leave her alone; she was not interested. And she gave the book back. Alexis asks if that was the end of it, and Kiki says, no. He was just getting started.
Stella tells Mike that she’s squeamish, so she’s going to step out while he gets stitches. Mike says he’ll probably forget anyway. He asks what he said that helped so much with her nephew. She says he spoke about the power of love, and how it’s one thing that never goes away. Mike supposes that sounds like him; the way he used to be. He’s not that Mike anymore. He can feel that Mike leaving the station, like the last train to Far Rockaway. Stella tells him that he’s not alone. The doctor walks in.
Curtis tells Jordan that they have the room for the rest of the night. He’ll see her after work. Being passive/aggressive, Jordan says she figured he might have plans with Chondra, and tells him to check his phone messages. She asks if that’s the Chondra that Stella reached out to. He says he didn’t respond, and she says don’t let her stand in the way. He says he loves her, and wants to show her over and over again tonight. He kisses her and leaves. She looks skeptical.
Sonny is glad it’s nothing serious, but Stella says she thinks Mike’s condition has changed. Carly thinks he does seem different. Stella knows that Felix spoke to Sonny about other options, and asks if he’s thought about them. Sonny doesn’t think it’s time, and Stella says it’s not about what they think, but what Mike thinks. She says Sonny knows that deep down. Whatever is decided, he should include Mike while he still can. Don’t wait until he has to force him. The illness will take everything. Don’t let it take his dignity.
Kiki says David showed her a first draft of the evaluation; it was horrible. She was about to ask if she could still earn a good one, when he gave her the key to his hotel room. He wanted her to sleep with him. Alexis asks if he offered a positive evaluation provided she had sex with him, and Kiki says, yes. She ran out of the office. She wouldn’t sleep with him even if it destroyed her medical career. That’s when Elizabeth found her crying. She knew she had to do something; to speak up. She had to stop him. He can’t keep doing this. It’s not right.
Scotty says, no questions at this time. Everyone is like, what? David asks Scotty if he’s trying to throw the case. Scotty says he saw how the jury reacted, and asks David if he wants Kiki to get more sympathy. David says Scotty is his attorney; act like it, and use the photo. Scotty looks at the photo. Kiki looks so distressed in it, I don’t know how it could be construed as anything romantic. David tells Scotty, if he wants to win, do it his way. If he doesn’t use the photo, David will fire him and do it himself. The judge calls for a recess.
Lulu asks if there are any comments. Ava tells Kiki she’s proud of her, and Griff says she did great. Franco asks to talk to Griff, and pulls him into the hallway. Griff asks what’s wrong, and Franco says, he knows. Griff asks how he found out. Franco says, it doesn’t matter. His only concern is that Kiki is spared. Lulu tells them that they’re being called back.
Back home, Mike says all that trouble was for nothing. He got in worse scrapes when he was a kid. It seems like another lifetime; like it happened to someone else. He guesses it did. Sonny asks if he wants lunch, but Mike wants to lie down, and goes upstairs. Carly tells Sonny, maybe Stella is right, and it’s time to have that conversation with his dad.
Jordan sees Stella at the hospital. She says she wanted to check in with Stella about the wedding. She was under the impression they had her blessing. Stella says she supports what makes her nephew happy. Jordan says, then why set Chondra on her fiancé?
Scotty shows Kiki the photo, and asks if it’s familiar. She says she knows it. He tells the court to let the record state the plaintiff is in the arms of another doctor, and it doesn’t look like she’s complaining. He has no further questions. Alexis redirects. She says despite Scotty’s off-color innuendo, what’s going on in the photo? Kiki says it was taken after her first day in the Shadow program. David had been treating her like an intern, not a pre-med student. When she didn’t know an answer, he berated her. She was upset, and Griff was concerned. He was being a friend, and hugged her. Alexis asks how David got the picture, but Kiki doesn’t know. Alexis asks if she thinks it might have been ammunition, in case she came forward about his inappropriate behavior. Scotty objects, and she withdraws the question. She wants to call Griff to the stand. Scotty says he’s not on the list, but she says the relationship has been brought into question, and Griff can set the record straight. Griff takes the stand.
Sonny knows Stella is right, and he’ll eventually have to move Mike to a permanent care facility, but it’s Mike’s decision to make while he still can. Sonny doesn’t think Mike is ready; he isn’t. He asks if Carly thinks he’s making a mistake. She thinks it’s his call to make. She’s here to listen and do whatever she can to help, but the decision is between him and Mike. Sonny says he’s been spreading himself too thin. Carly says it’s too much for anyone to deal with. He says he’s not making excuses. Everything is going to be good because she’s home. They exchange I love yous.
Jordan says Stella claimed to be okay with the wedding, but she knew all along Stella was hoping something would go wrong to stop it. Stella agrees that she always liked Chondra, and made a point of checking in, but she also told her that Curtis was getting married. She tells Jordan not to worry. Chondra isn’t the type to take another woman’s man.
Curtis looks at the message from Chondra.
Griff is sworn in, and I say, f…udge. Franco and Scotty are texting, and Ava gets a text saying Griff and Kiki had sex.
Tomorrow, Ava asks Kiki if she’d like to tell her something, Doc suggests Carly come back to therapy, and Chase asks Jason if he doesn’t want justice.
The Shahs of Sunset
They really need to change their opening.
Reza tells everyone to rise and shine. The Shahs get ready for the day. Nema tells Mona all he could do is stare at GG last night. He’s crushing hard. In his interview, Nema says he has a girlfriend, and tried to kiss another girl. He’s screwed. GG says Reza plagiarized [sic] Mike’s cologne. Reza says the same for her boobs. They look bigger, and he asks if it’s the altitude.
Departure is noon. Reza has an announcement before they leave. He tells them he has the pleasure of being MJ’s man of honor at her wedding. GG asks how it feels for MJ to have a man of honor who had his d*ck inside of her. MJ asks if she wants to be in the bridal party, and GG tells her that she’s done; go ahead and spin it. Reza says they were teenagers. In her interview, MJ says it bothers her that GG is bottom dwelling, when she should be happy for her. If she’s a friend, she should act like one. If she wants to be in the bridal party, she has leaps and bounds to go. MJ says thanks for the warning, and tells Reza this happens with jealous, low-level haters. In his interview, Reza says GG knows what she’s doing, but she’s not taking away from his excitement. GG says everything with MJ is intentional. To come after her about her relationship, knowing it’s been damaging, is effed up.
Trainer Craig puts MJ through her paces. They go for a run. MJ wants to look good on her wedding day, and has used a personal trainer for the last six months. We see clips of MJ running; she tells us, with 36 triple-Ds. She has no time for bullsh*t, or friends who are about the bullsh*t. She does some planks.
After living in a WeHo condo, MJ has finally upgraded to a house with a beautiful view and glass walls. It’s a dream come true. When she comes home, Tommy is talking to Vida on the deck. In her interview, MJ says it’s funny. Now that her mother trusts Tommy, the floodgates opened. They have a lot in common; food and a love of cooking. We see a clip of them cooking together. Vida said if MJ doesn’t marry Tommy, she will. Vida talks about the Wedding March, but MJ nixes that.
Destiney and MJ meet at a humongous party store. They discuss MJ’s upcoming Valentine’s Day party that she wants Destiney to handle. MJ wants something that focuses on all love, not just couples’ love. She asks if Destiney got on Tinder. Destiney says her name and pictures are up there, but she needs a profile. MJ puts in some of Destiney’s likes and dislikes. She thinks Destiney should have more revealing pictures, and asks what Destiney thinks Tommy was attracted to, her personality? In her interview, Destiney is firm on no dirty nails, has to be circumcised, and no wearing briefs. Does she mean boxers? That doesn’t sound right. MJ tells her to have some red wine, get on Tinder, and just act like she’s communicating with someone. They buy nearly 800 bucks worth of candy.
The best thing about Mike is that he has three cute dogs. He says he took his home down to the studs, like how he rebuilt his life. His house represents the Mike who’s ready to be a husband and father one day. Reza comes by, and asks what’s going on when he sees everything everywhere. In his interview, he explains that Mike couldn’t deal with the house by himself. He shares a text from Mike – please help me pick out a mailbox asap – sent at 9:35 am. He’s put in hundreds of hours. We see clips of Reza basically guiding Mike through everything. Reza says he’s starting to get irritated. He’s spent a lot of time on bullsh*t that should have been handled. He wants it done right or it will reflect on him.
GG tells Destiney that MJ is too intense. Destiney says they’re on different frequencies. GG loves MJ, but come at her, and she’ll retaliate in the same manner. We flash back to GG going out of her mind and acting batsh*t crazy. Destiney says, everything is about timing. Her timing wasn’t proper. In her interview, Destiney says bickering is what sisters do, but it hurts because it’s your sister. They go to a bar to check out the guys. Destiney fixes the bartender’s tie. In her interview, Destiney says she tried Tinder, but it’s all, hey, what’s up, are you down to f***? That’s a no. GG says it looks like everyone is paired up. Destiney says it sucks all around.
Reza, Mike, and Nema meet for dinner. Reza says Mike’s house is almost at the finish line. Mike asks if Nema told his girlfriend about flirting with GG. Nema says, no, but he has to. In his interview, he says she’ll find out anyway. His sister is her best friend, they live together, she runs three of his companies, and these people are sociopaths. He can’t trust any of them. He tells the guys that he never played the field.
Mona joins GG and Destiney. Mona is wearing a tight bodysuit, and GG explains about a type of underwear that prevents camel toe. She says it was interesting seeing the brother and sister dynamic. They seem very close. In her interview, Destiney says she’s never seen a brother look at a sister that way. It’s 97% cute, and 3% hmm… GG brings up Cruel Intentions, and Mona says she’s getting nauseous, and it’s not like that.
Shervin joins the guys at dinner. Reza says he’s the one to talk to about stepping out on a girlfriend. Shervin says, Mike too. Mike suggests keeping it in different area codes. Some amazing food is served. Shervin FaceTimes with GG, and Nema hopes she’s having fun. Reza says Nema wants to come clean. In her interview, GG says she backed away, and now he wants to tell his girlfriend. Nothing happened. And she’s right. For once, nothing happened. Reza makes fun of Nema, and does a very accurate imitation. He asks to talk to Shervin and Mike outside. They swear they’re not ditching Nema, and leaving him with the bill. Oh yes they are. The waiter brings the check, and Nema realizes they’re not coming back. Nema says, it’s hazing 101, and the waiter says, welcome to the family.
MJ and Vida visit a fertility doctor who went to high school with MJ. She wants her mom involved in the process. The doctor says she has healthy, genetically tested embryos for the future. In her interview, MJ explains that Vida was left out of a lot of her life. She didn’t even tell Vida she was getting married, but thinks now that it wasn’t the smartest choice, and decided to give the bitch a chance. Vida can be pretty mean. The doctor tells her the eggs will be waiting whenever she’s ready. In her interview, MJ says last year, she froze her eggs. She wants wedding, then baby, then three bikes riding off into the sunset. He says there’s no need to rush, but he’d like it to be sooner rather than later. MJ has been working hard to be in good shape. Vida says she can’t run in high heels. Vida tells the doctor that MJ’s dad is In the hospital. If something happens to him, she’ll be very hurt, and it can’t be during that time. The doctor says MJ’s love for her dad pushed her to do this fast. He says to think positive, give encouragement, and MJ will make them grandparents. He can’t wait to give all of the good news.
Mike and Reza go plant shopping. Mike wants an avocado tree, and Reza asks if that’s so he doesn’t have to spend as much on guacamole. Mike tells Reza he’s decided to pursue Morgan. We see a picture of them together, and he says they met at the gym. In true Mike fashion, he sabotaged it, thinking there was something better out there, and met Mona. He and Mona didn’t share the same philosophies, and Morgan is more what he’s looking for. Reza is supportive of Morgan, but says she’s very young. Mike insists that they’re on the same maturity level, although I’d be willing to bet – without even having met her – she’s more mature than he is. In his interview, Reza says Mike wants to please his mom, but he doesn’t like those girls. He wants big fake boobs, hair down to their tramp stamp, and puffed-up lips. As they shop, Reza explains it’s a textbook Persian maneuver 101. Buy one small item in a high-end store, and take mental inventory of what you can buy at the discount store. I like it! Mike says he’s bringing Morgan to MJ’s party. She’s tough.
The venue Destiney has picked out has something different going on in every room. She wants people to remember everything. It’s a cool place. Sort of like the old Danceteria times eight with a little Limelight thrown in. She shows everyone what and how to set up.
The guests arrive. They’re welcomed to the love den, and given drinks. Vida says MJ looks good, and MJ says that’s an effing first. Adam is surprised that Nema and Mona are brother and sister. He tells Reza that they seem more like husband and wife. Mike brings Morgan. Reza isn’t surprised that he could forget Morgan at the drop of a hat. Mike is shallow. He requires coddling and compliments, and Mona is not that girl. Me neither. In her interview, GG says she’s nervous to see Nema. It’s Valentine’s Day. Next thing you know, her phone will be ringing with a random number, and she’ll hear, hello, it’s Erica. You tried to make out with my boyfriend, and I’m not down with that.
Destiney welcomes everyone, and introduces MJ. MJ says the reason she wanted this love celebration, was to formally announce that she’s getting married April 21st. Tommy is with her dad tonight. She asks Reza to come up. She also introduces Craig and Brandon (Craig’s husband) as her bridesmen. GG tells Adam that MJ’s glam squad is her bridal team. MJ says it’s going to be a small wedding, but she wants all of them there. Adam blurts out, what about him? GG says they got kicked in the ass. They’re no competition for hot gays. Adam says MJ completely disregarded them. He leaves with GG. Outside, GG says she doesn’t know if she should be hurt. She’s sorry they have no hair and makeup skills. Craig joins them, and says he had no idea that was going to happen.
MJ takes Vida outside, and says the way she’s been present in MJ’s life lately means a lot. She wants Vida to play a bigger role in her life. I add, and a free babysitter in the future. She wants Vida’s support. Vida says she doesn’t like what she hears sometimes. Liking Tommy and him being a suitable husband are two different issues. In her interview, MJ says she’s done what she needs to do to show love by including her. If she’s not supportive, she doesn’t need to be included, and can be in the nosebleed section of her life. She wants Vida’s support going forward, but Vida doesn’t know. Destiney comes out, and asks if they’re okay.
Adam isn’t feeling it. MJ never mentioned anything and Reza didn’t either. How is he supposed to feel? Destiney tells MJ to enjoy her moment; it’s everyone else’s issue. Reza follows GG and Adam. Adam says he’s hurt; he wanted to be a part of it. Reza says if one of them benefits, they both do. GG asks Reza if he’d be okay if Adam was the man of honor for someone he once had sex with. Adam says maybe he has an issue, and Reza tells him to get over it. Nema tells GG, see what she just did. Adam says Reza will be walking down the aisle with someone he used to screw. In his interview, Reza says GG can start whatever she thinks she’s starting. Adam is tipsy, but she can’t eff his relationship up; it’s too strong for that bullsh*t. Reza says Adam and GG are being all kinds of extra, and he needs a moment.
Reza takes the mic. He says as man of honor – sorry GG, sorry Adam – he needs to make an announcement. It’s so good to be among friends, old friends and new friends. MJ adds, some friends teach you a lesson. Reza tells GG look behind her; there’s a good friend of his and MJ’s. MJ says she was also married to Shalom. GG realizes Shalom’s ex-wife is there, and smashes her glass. Her version of asking someone to hold her hoops. She tells Shervin to take her out of there. Outside, he tells her to relax. She tells him to stop touching her. He says she’s turning herself up. Why is she tripping? In her interview, GG says she could care less that she’s not in the wedding. She clearly doesn’t believe in marriage, but these were two people she thought were her friends. How could they do this?
Reza finds GG, who thanks him for the heads up. She says she wanted to meet Shalom’s ex and talk with her, but this way is effed up. Reza says she’s right; he’s sorry. He doesn’t want it to be a thing, and she says it is already. He goes back, and tells MJ that they poked the bear; they’re even. He wants to squash it. In her interview, MJ says she loves GG, but she’s always disappointed. She’s not enabling her friends if they’re acting like a-holes. When you do something sh*tty, don’t cry when something bad happens to you.
MJ wants to talk to GG. They sit next to each other in silence. GG says that was a new level of low. MJ says she wants to be close to GG. Her heart is with GG, but she doesn’t have the energy for this. GG knows where she’s at; they talk every day. She’s made the effort to reach out and connect because she loves GG. If GG wants to reciprocate, do it. If not, make it clear what she wants. MJ says she’s dealing with her dying father, and GG is either there for her or against her. GG starts laughing, and MJ says, never mind. She walks away, saying, she tried.
Next time, GG gets her Shalom tattoo removed, Reza has a dirty secret that Adam doesn’t know, Nema tells his girlfriend about the almost kiss, and GG wants to fight MJ.
👀 GG and Mike were on Watch What Happens Live tonight, and GG’s misuse of the word plagiarize came up. They played a game called Can She Use It In A Sentence? and GG proved she was no dummy. A word was given, and Mike had to decide whether GG could do it. There were definitely words she didn’t know the meaning of, but as she pointed out, that wasn’t the game. As long as she successfully used them in a sentence that made sense, she was correct. Clever girl.
