General Hospital

Michael asks Sam if she recognizes the blanket. She says it must be the one Carly was talking about.

Jordan tells Sonny there’s no need to go to the press. He says he has to talk to someone. Chase comes in and asks if there’s something wrong. Sonny says his wife was mistreated at Ferncliff, and Jordan isn’t understanding. The mayor calls, and Jordan steps away. Chase asks how Michael is; he’s sorry about what happened to Sonny’s grandchild. He tells Sonny that he can say it. It’s all his fault.

Carly walks into the interrogation room, telling Nelle, long time no see. Nelle asks what she’s doing there; she’s supposed to be locked up. Carly says she’s supposed to be in a car on her way to Canada while the lawyers negotiate her release, but she had to see Nelle one last time to tell Nelle to her face – she wins.

Carly sees Nelle is handcuffed, and says, excellent. There’s nothing she likes more than a captive audience. Nelle says she finds that sad. All Carly’s stunt will do is lengthen her sentence. Carly says her sentence is about to be a thing of the past, and even if she’s wrong, it’s worth it. Nelle is screwed for the rest of her life, and it couldn’t happen to a better gal. Nelle says they don’t make marks easier than Carly. Carly agrees. She was so blinded by her grief, she didn’t see Nelle coming. She didn’t think anyone was twisted enough target grieving parents, or siblings who lost a brother. She says Nelle is a deranged sociopath without one redeeming quality. Nelle asks, what about her vital organs? She saved Josslyn’s life. Carly says Josslyn’s father did. Nelle says it was her kidney, and Carly says her worthless father sold to the highest bidder. It’s awful, but not her problem. Nelle can blame her life on Frank. Carly owes her nothing.

Sam tells Michael the nursery was gone over with a fine-toothed comb. The blanket must have planted. He says it doesn’t matter; they have it. Sam thinks it has to be someone connected to Nelle. Someone decided to double-cross her.

Ava sees Scotty talking to David in Kelly’s. Scotty tells David there are being crude things about Kiki on the internet. Alexis doesn’t think it’s good for the case. David tells him to fix it, and Scotty says, one course of action that would fix it, is to settle.

Jason asks Margaux if it’s enough to recommend Carly be transferred out of Ferncliff. She asks what she’s looking at, and Jason says it’s a consent form for ECT. She asks how he got his hands on it, and he says a friend. Even Margaux can tell it’s not Carly’s signature, and he says, exactly. He tells her to verify the date. Carly wasn’t even at the facility that day. Margaux says maybe they had her scheduled, and he says, without consent?

Carly says Nelle caught her off-guard, but she’s back on her game, and it feels great. Nelle says she can tell her fellow patients at Ferncliff, although there’s no one to talk to in solitary, where she’s headed. Carly says Nelle doesn’t get it. Her conviction won’t stand, since Nelle spilled her guts. Nelle says she was coerced. She was under duress; she thought she was going to die. Carly asks, why? Michael is an excellent driver. Carly says she confessed to it all; murdering Zack, almost killing Michael, and haunting her. Nelle says Carly still pushed her, and she can’t prove otherwise. Carly says Nelle was just proven to be the biggest liar on the planet. They’re going to throw the story out she told in court Her plan tanked. She thought she was taking on Carly alone, but she, Sonny, her mother. Michael, Josslyn, and Jason are a package deal. The bottom line is that she messed with the wrong family.

Chase says Sonny told him nothing better go wrong, and he kept insisting it was fine. It would have worked if it hadn’t been for the prison van, but that’s no excuse. It was his plan, and the baby died. Sonny says it was an unintended consequence. Chase says that doesn’t mean it’s not his fault.

Nelle says Carly has done her fair share of damage, and it’s not so different from hers. Carly sits down, and says, this should be good; let’s hear it. Nelle says stop her when it sounds familiar. Coming to Port Charles, pretending to be someone else, exactly revenge on her family. Carly says she and Nelle aren’t family; her target was her mother. She was also successful in taking her mother’s marriage down. She regrets it, but she seduced Tony fair and square. Nelle had to drug Sonny. Nelle says Carly was the worst. Carly agrees. Until she grew, and learned, and changed. She forged relationships with people she loved, who loved her back, and made her a better person. Love is wasted on Nelle.

Michael tells Sam that Sonny isn’t picking up. He wonders what’s the best way to handle it. Does Sam think it was planted? Sam says if Nelle knitted it, her DNA will be all over it. They have to take it to the police station – now. Michael asks if anyone has ever told her that she’d make a good PI. She says, no, but she’ll consider it.

Ava comes by Griff’s office. She tells him that she just saw David and Scotty with their heads together. She’s worried about Kiki. This is hard on her, and Scotty is going to try to publicly humiliate her, as if she hasn’t been dragged through the mud already. Griff says Alexis will do some dragging of her own, but Ava says Kiki won’t be able to defend herself. Griff says she’ll get a rebuttal, and Ava says in the moment, it will be brutal. Griff says Kiki is stronger than Ava thinks. Ava knows she is. She’s kept her head held high, and continued going to work. She’s never been so proud. Griff says as long as she knows Ava is in her corner, she’ll be fine. Ava says 100%, and they’re both lucky to have him.

Carly says Nelle is Incapable of love. She doesn’t know what it means, or how it feels. You need to have a soul to love, and all she has is a bottomless pit of envy and hate. Frank lied, but once she knew the truth, Nelle couldn’t stop. She couldn’t face the emptiness inside. She lied, and manipulated, thinking of different ways to torture Carly. She could handle thinking she was losing her mind, but Nelle played with Josslyn’s head and emotions. Nelle messed with her baby. She crossed the line.

Jason doesn’t think this is what Margaux meant to happen when she sent Carly to Ferncliff. Margaux says it’s horrible, but doesn’t excuse Jason breaking her out. He tells her when he came in, she was strapped to a table, and she could have been a vegetable if he’d waited. He believes Margaux had no idea, but the fact is, she let it happen. Carly was sent there because of her. Now she has a chance to do what’s right.

Alexis tells Kiki that she spoke with Francesca. Her testimony is strong, and corroborates Kiki’s. She says Scotty is going to ask about the photo, and Kiki says, it has nothing to do with anything. Alexis says the defense will use it to paint her in an incriminating light, and she’ll be questioned about the nature of the relationship. She’ll be under oath, so one last time, is there anything Kiki wants to tell her? Kiki says, no. The photo is just Griff comforting an upset friend; nothing more.

Ava says there’s been a distance between her and Griff, but still, he’s always there; a strong shoulder to lean on. He asks if it helps, and she says just being in the same room with him helps her breathe easier. He has a calming effect on her. He’s sorry about the distance. It’s his fault. There’s been a lot weighing on him in the past few months. She asks if he wants to talk about it. He thinks they have to. Being with her changed everything for him. He’s learned that doing a bad thing doesn’t make you a bad person, and sometimes the end does justify the means. Sometimes you just mess up. It’s still new to him, and realizes it involves his heart. The prospect of losing that… She asks if he just said he loved her, and he says, yes, he loves her.

David asks Scotty, why settle? It’s he said she said, and Kiki has nothing to back it up. Scotty says, true, but it’s civil count; the burden of proof isn’t as high. There’s also the court of public opinion. As long as this drags on, his reputation is at stake. David says if they settle, it’s an admission of guilt. The odds are in his favor Why is Scotty getting gun shy about the trial? Scotty flashes back to seeing Griff and Kiki in the park, talking about having slept together. He says he’s just giving David all the options. They have the upper hand, and he’ll do everything in his power for them to win.

Jason tells Margaux he could have been gone. It could take months, and ruin her career. Some people might think she deserves it. He’s not one of them. He just wants it over, and would like to think she’ll do the right thing. She says he’s changed the character of the case, but she can’t just pretend they didn’t talk. He’s basically turning himself in. She asks if he’s willing to go to the station. He says as long as Carly is safe, he’s okay with that.

Sonny tells Chase that he’s learned no matter how careful you are, can’t plan for everything. There’s always a surprise, but if something goes wrong, you have to be prepared to own it. No matter what side you’re on, the rules are the same. No one could have imagined the baby being a casualty. Chase says he was the most innocent one in all of this, and he died. Sonny says it’s a heavy burden, and unfortunately, he’d the one to carry it.

Carly tells Nelle to remember what it was like to be a teenager (like, five minutes ago for Nelle), navigating your way through public school and social circles. How big everything felt. It’s not an easy time. Josslyn’s big brother died, and her grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. What Josslyn didn’t need was Nelle, and special brand of psycho. She made Josslyn feel lost and confused; alone. Josslyn showed her though. She took Nelle down because Josslyn is her daughter, and they love each other. They’ve already established that no one ever loved Nelle. Nelle says, Michael did. Carly says, for about a minute, and he never will again. She asks if Nelle thinks it ends with her. Nelle asks what she means, and Carly says if this is her revenge, think of what Sonny’s will be like. Nelle says it makes her happy; kicking a crazy mother while she’s down. Carly says, just for the record, she’s devastated about her grandson. Michael will grieve for the rest of his life. The one silver lining is that she won’t use the child as weapon, like she’s done since she got pregnant. Nelle says Carly thinks she knows everything, nd that the world revolves around her, but there’s a helluva lot she doesn’t know.

Carly says she doesn’t care about what she doesn’t know. She doesn’t care about Nelle. She’s a non-factor in Carly’s life from here on. They’re finished. Margaux sees Carly stroll out of the interrogation room, and wonders why she’s not in handcuffs. Carly says she’s turning herself in. She doesn’t need them, but if Margaux wants to, by all means. Margaux says she’s willing to talk to the judge, and move her to Shadybrook. Carly says that’s so not happening. Sonny gets a text that says, mission accomplished.

Ava can’t believe Griff said the words. He tells her that he means them. She kisses him. He says they still have things to work out, but they might be getting somewhere. There’s still a lot to talk about. Ava says they will. After the trial is over, she can focus more on them. He agrees, and she thanks him. She says knowing he feels the same way, makes her feel better; stronger than she did when she walked in. She suggests getting him take out, because that’s what people who love each other do. It’s a plus, but let’s hope there’s more to it than that.

Kiki tells Alexis that she has to get back to work. Alexis has says she has a good case. Kiki did the right thing coming to her. She has no intention of letting Kiki down. They’re in this together. Sam joins them, apologizing for being late. Kiki tells her to let Michael know she’s thinking about him, and leaves. Sam tells Alexis about Jonah being stillborn. Alexis says it’s too much for Michael. Sam says thankfully, the situation with Carly is a whole lot better.

Sonny says, in light of new evidence, Diane is going to petition the court to have Carly’s sentence vacated. Margaux has twenty-four hours if she wants to fight it, but he advises against it. She came after him through his wife, and she sided with a psycho to do it. It’s not a good look for the district attorney. Michael walks in. Sonny says he has good news, and Michael thinks he can help. He dumps the blanket out on a table.

Sonny asks where he found it, and Michael says the nursery at the Quartermaine’s. Margaux asks if that’s the blanket Carly swore they were fighting over. Carly tells her the one Nelle swore didn’t exist. Margaux says, he found it in the nursery that was turned upside down by the authorities? He says there was no sign it was put there recently, and they assume whoever it was, was working with Nelle. Either they got a conscience or wanted to turn her in. Sonny says just trace the DNA. Chase tells Margaux that she’s not the first person snowed by Nelle. Take it from someone who’s been there. He almost trashed his career for her. Admit she’s wrong, clean up the mess, and move on. Margaux tells him that he’s out of turn, but it’s good advice. She’ll take it – subject to review. Sonny asks if she’ll tell the judge, and Margaux says, yes. Nelle is brought out, and she starts yelling, she double- crossed me; no, no, no!

Sam asks if Alexis has reached out to Kristina. Alexis says, someone should call and tell her. Sam says that someone should be her. Alexis tells her that she’s making an effort, but no matter what she says, Kristina interprets it as controlling. She’s afraid if Kristina makes a choice, it will be to defy her. Sam thinks Kristina’s choices and feelings are up to her. Alexis says they keep the conversation to talk about the weather or museum exhibits. She misses her. Sam says that’s exactly what Alexis should say to her. She thinks Kristina misses her too.

Griff remarks that Kiki is working before the trial, and Kiki says it’s better than obsessing. He’s glad he ran into her. He’s been thinking about her mom, and he really needs to tell her that he cheated. He’s not naming names, but he has to tell her if he wants a future with her, and he does. He’ll never let her know it was Kiki. She asks if he’ sure, and he says, positive. She respects his intent, but to be honest, he doesn’t have a true understanding of her mom. He’ll lose her and make her his enemy. It will be bad for both of them.

Scotty sees Ava at Kelly’s, and says he’ll fill her in. He tried to get David to settle, but they’re going to trial. Ava says, good. She wants him exposed for the predator he is. Scotty says that’s if her daughter wins. She says, good thing he’s on the case. Scotty says it will be suspicious without him giving a reasonable defense. He’ll do everything he can to protect Kiki, but who knows what someone might be forced to admit on the stand?

Nelle asks where they got the blanket. Margaux says that’s the strangest thing; she’d said it didn’t exist. It goes against her version of the story. She’ll be prosecuted for perjury. Nelle says they’re out to get her, and struggles with the guard holding her. Margaux says, Nelle has so many counts against her, she can’t even do the math. The blanket is practically meaningless. Carly says, not to her.

Michael says he still cared about the baby. In his child’s memory, he’ll do what he can to get mercy, but after that, Nelle is nothing to him. Nelle says they got everything they wanted, and she hopes Carly burns in hell; she hates her. The guard takes her out, grasping and kicking. Jordan comes in, and asks what’s happening. They fill her in on the blanket. Margaux points out that Jason is a fugitive, and Sonny says she can fight Diane, but she’ll lose, and won’t improve her public image. Jordan agrees to keep them until they can test the blanket. Jason and Carly go into the interrogation room.

Sonny tells Michael to go home; eat and rest. His mom is fine. Sonny asks Margaux is she feels good about herself; Jason and Carly don’t deserve lockup. They’re not her problem; he is. Come and get him. She says when she does, the case will be airtight.

Alexis says there’s been good news; Carly is exonerated. Sam still can’t believe Jason broke her out. She asks if Alexis had anything to do with it. Alexis says she was wondering if Sam had anything to do with it. Sam says no, and Alexis thinks that’s because Jason didn’t ask. She notes Sam isn’t correcting her. Sam asks if she’d like to order.

Carly tells Jason that they could be in Canada. Jason says, it’s okay. She says she stayed for her family, but needed one more shot at Nelle. It was worth a night in prison. He asks if she has any regrets, and she says, none. Who knows? Maybe they’ll get adjoining cells.

Tomorrow, Nina says Valentin will do anything to get to her, Finn wants proof Anna is okay, and Scotty tells Franco that he hates David.

Below Deck Mediterranean

Still on shore, Conrad tells Hannah if she walks away, it’s over, but he doesn’t want this. Adam calls for a taxi. and he and Hannah leave. João steals one of Conrad’s shoes, just for a minute. Conrad tells João, eff-off for a minute, and knock off the smile. They get in each other’s faces. Kasey asks what going on, and João decides to walk away. He tells Brooke he was just teasing, and Conrad flicked him in the face. In his interview, Conrad says nothing is going his way at the minute.

Adam asks Hannah wtf is going on? She says she’s dating a twenty-three-year-old who asked for his fifty dollars back. Adam says she knew he was seven years younger and had no bank account. She has to take responsibility for that. In her interview, Hannah says the more she looks at it, the more she realizes their lives are different. She’s established hers, and at twenty-three, Conrad is still building his. Adam says she knows better, and she says maybe she made a mistake. João almost falls down stairs coming back in. Kasey tells Jamie she took herself out of the love part with João, but still wanted the fun part. Now she wants to rip João a new one.

Conrad needs to backpedal and focus on his relationship with Captain Sandy and his deck crew. Brooke tells the captain there was a lot of drama on the first day of the charter, but the captain says the service was amazing. Hannah walks past Conrad without acknowledging him. Brooke feels like stepping on Hannah’s toes. Captain Sandy says the interior service has improved, but she doesn’t want them complacent. She tells Brooke to never take her eyes off the table. Brooke says she takes pride in service, and the captain says she can see that.

João tells Kasey that he heard her talking sh*t to Brooke, and it’s unfair. She says one minute he’s telling friends that he’s giving her a one-way ticket to Zimbabwe and they’re flirting. Then, she steps away for a minute, and he’s making out with Brooke. It’s an effed-up move. She says maybe she was wrong, trying to look out for him and help him. He says he doesn’t need help, and she’s judging him. Conrad says it’s unbelievable. There was no reason for last night. He agrees with Kasey 100%.

It’s time for the preference sheet meeting. Lizzz (nope, not a typo, just pretentious) is a friend of the captain’s, who does promotional products for Fortune 500 companies. She wants Captain Sandy to join in on as much as possible. They also want a New England clambake, Hampton’s style. Adam used to work in the Hamptons, so he’s down with that. Another guest owns the biggest wine store in the Hamptons. Hannah thinks they’ll get along fine. The captain says she just doesn’t want any flak.

Everyone gets the boat ready. Brooke complains that she and Kasey have to do the heavy lifting. Conrad asks Hannah for a conversation. In his interview, he says he still has feelings for her, and doesn’t know what to do. He tells her she’s materialistic, and he thinks it’s stupid. She says it’s her life. He asks what she wants, and she says the damage is done; there’s no going back. Sometimes, love isn’t enough to keep the relationship together. It’s not romantic, but he can’t be mad; it’s how she’s programmed. In her interview, she says her parents loved each other, but when her ten-year-old brother died, they grieved differently, and grew apart. If she was a gold-digger, she wouldn’t have come after him. Conrad says they could break in slowly back in to where they were, and Hannah says, okay. They hug. In his interview, Conrad says he’d rather stay and fight to work it out than run. Hannah tells him she knows she’s not the easiest person to be with. In her interview, she says she’s pushed away a lot of decent men, but unless she pushes him all the way overboard, it’s not happening. Maybe it’s good she’s been forced to make something work. They kiss.

The crew gets in their whites, and the guests arrive. Captain Sandy is happy they chartered the boat. Hannah gives the tour. Brooke passes out champagne. Hannah wants to show she can do her job and is good at it. Then maybe the captain will get off her back. Hannah tells the guests there’s nothing more luxurious than a bath on a yacht. Lizzz says when she and the captain were on another boat, she was happy with the service, but Captain Sandy said it wasn’t the way it was supposed to be. The captain says as soon as guests arrive, the toys should be out, no question. In his interview, Adam says the last time the captain’s friends were on the boat, service wasn’t up to standard. His cooking wasn’t either, and he’s making it his mission to prove he can do this.

Brooke decorates the table with pearls and shells. In her interview, Captain Sandy says whether it’s a friend or client, she’s obliged to sit with them if she’s asked. She’d rather be checking timetables and the weather, but wants the guests to have the best experience, no matter what. The guests think the wine is too warm. Hannah walks in with ice, and Lizzz says it’s like she read their minds. An amazing swordfish entrée is served for lunch. Hannah goes on break. João pokes at Brooke. The guests jet ski. Lizzz is too afraid to go down the slide. What? I’m not exactly water adventurous, but I can’t imagine not being obsessed with going down that thing. I’ve always wanted to use the emergency slide in an airplane too. But I don’t want an actual emergency.

João asks if he and Kasey are good, or does she still think he’s a d*ck. She says all she told Brooke was to be smart and be careful. In her interview, she says in her experience, guys who say they just want to be friends, always want more. They don’t get it though, so too bad for João. Brooke calls for Kasey on the radio, so she gets out of talking to him.

Adam gets a load of live lobsters (try saying that three times real fast). He asks some of the deck hands to help with schlepping pots and pans upstairs. He’s going to layer the food on the table. Brooke says it had a Mediterranean fishing village vibe. Kasey tells Brooke that her patience is wearing thin. Hannah is having her minions do her dirty work, and it’s not fair.

Hannah tells Conrad she’s ready to go home any time. Conrad thinks they should see a different country, and she suggests Vienna. In her interview, Hannah says boat drama is stressful to a relationship. They need to have free days to see if it’s real.

Everyone dresses way too well for a clambake. Adam is making everything ever seen at a clambake in the middle of the Amalfi coast. The wine is again at room temperature. In her interview, Captain Sandy says it’s all about service (I agree – and the food). It’s not about who’s at the table, but about her team shining. She tells Hannah she wants someone at the table at all times. Hannah tells her that she’d asked for the wine to be put in the freezer. João is hungry, and starts poking around the galley. Kasey stands ready near the guests’ table. Adam tells the deck crew to stay close. Newspapers are spread on the table, and Adam dumps potatoes and corn on the cob on them. He says, but wait, there’s more, and adds lobster and crab, putting a pot of muscles on top. The guests are speechless, and Lizzz says it’s beyond her wildest dreams. They ask for shell bowls, ice, and more napkins. The captain asks Hannah where are the eyes watching the table?

Jamie wonders if they’re getting dinner. The guests call it a night. Adam realizes he forgot to feed the crew. In his interview, João says Adam pissed him off. He has one job. Well, yeah, but he has to do it all day, and can also be called on to do it at any time 24/7. And even I know, the guests come first. Brooke washes dishes. Adam brings out fish and corn on the cob for the crew. Conrad nuzzles Hannah on deck. Brooke asks if João made up with Kasey. He says he still has to break her eight-year dry spell. He tells Brooke that he’s just joking, but neither one of us think it’s funny. In her interview, Brooke says she’s been cheated on in the past, and might be playing with fire. Ya think?

Breakfast is fancy SOS (chipped beef on toast, or sh*t on a shingle). Hannah asks Captain Sandy if she’s going on the day tour; they’re setting up a picnic lunch. Kasey, Brooke, and João doing the set-up. Everyone shoves off to Ischia Island. They’re touring a castle, and it’s all up hill to get there. The crew is also carrying a ton of stuff. When Hannah radios about sending the food, Brooke tells her that they need as many people there as possible. Hannah says she’ll send Adam, as well as Conrad and Colin as planned. Jamie sets up the water toys. Colin say everything is hurting, and Adam says at least got in some exercise. Jamie is glad Conrad is giving her more responsibility. She’s had personal growth, and it feels good. Lizzz says they earned their lunch, and the captain joins them.

Hannah says, Prague, and Conrad says, cool.

Brooke is stressed with Hannah. She did breakfast, and set up the barbecue (I don’t know if she means the clambake or picnic), and Hannah acts like she’s orchestrating things, but she’s not. Brook already knew what to do. Lizzz says the picnic was fantastic. Now comes the hike back down. Holy! It’s really a lot of tough walking. Colin says it’s like walking the Great Wall of China. João flirts with Kasey. Brooke doesn’t want to see it.

Back at the yacht, Captain Sandy is impressed with Jamie. She’s quiet, but the captain sees her working, and taking note of it. The guests jet ski and swim. A boat comes up selling fresh fish. The captain tells Adam that Lizzz loves octopus, so he buys one. I loved it too, until I saw one with a lot of personality on a video. Adam says he’s never done this before. It’s part of being a yacht chef to rearrange the plan because you got something fresher. Conrad asks for some ham. Adam tells him to sit, and food will be ready in twenty minutes. In his interview, Adam says he wants the best culinary experience for the guests, and forgot the crew. Even for the crew, the food looks incredible. In his interview, João whines that they work hard, and they should put Adam in the galley, not feed him after a hard day, and see how he feels. A-hole. Grab a piece of bread in the meantime or something.

Adam prepares the octopus. Hannah asks Colin to help with service. Adam explains that octopus is notoriously tough. It’s cool and fun to prepare same day fish, but he doesn’t want to poison the guests. He freezes it first to kill any bacteria, and tenderize it. He makes a sashimi appetizer. Lizzz pronounces it perfect. Adam brings up the prime rib and shrimp entrée himself. Lizzz says it’s over the top, and wants to take him home. In her interview, Captain Sandy says the service was ten times better, but she’s cautiously optimistic. If they can keep it at this level for the rest of the season, all will be well. Lizzz says party in her cabin.

Brooke and João sit on the observation deck. She asks if there’s anything she’s going to find out that will upset her. She’s dated a player. João says she wonders if he still is, and she says she wouldn’t be interested then. Hannah and Conrad see them, and Conrad says he wants to shake Brooke. She said it already. She wants to be the one who fixes them. And she will have to learn the lesson that there’s no fixing someone else on her own.

João wants to know what’s relevant about the past? Brooke says, nothing. Brooke wants to believe him, so she’s going with that until he gives her a reason not to. Jamie is called to the bridge. Captain Sandy gives her a boat driving lesson. Anchor is pulled, and in her interview, Jamie sees a potential milestone in the direction of where she wants her career to go. The captain asks if she’s happy, and she says, are you kidding? The boat docks. The guests pack, and the crew gets into their whites.

The guests were thrilled, and Lizzz says it was a magnificent experience. It’s time for the tip meeting. The envelope please. Captain Sandy says they got $12,500, or $1041 each. In her interview, Hannah says they got $25K from Kenny; this is mediocre. The captain tells them it’s not about each charter, but the mounds of cash at the end of the season. She wants the last two charters to be beyond. She tells them to have a nice dinner, but don’t go clubbing.

Kasey tells Brooke that Hannah had better not say anything about her work. She doesn’t know what Hannah’s been doing, but at least she’s trying. In her interview, Brooke says Hannah is different as a friend. She loves Hannah away from work. Everyone gets dressed to go out. João flirts with Kasey, and takes her phone. Hannah walks in as he’s fixing his pants, and asks what happened? He says he was snapping a dickie. Really? Hannah sees Brooke in bathroom. Brooke asks her why the face? and Hannah thinks Brooke needs to be careful. She just walked into a mess. João had Kasey’s phone, and was taking a photo of his d*ck. It’s not a cool situation to her with the three of them. Hannah says it’s her relationship and her call, but she wouldn’t be impressed with it. I’m not sure which “it” she’s referring to, the situation or João’s junk.

Next time, the primary is a motivational speaker, Brooke says Hannah has no filter, and João doesn’t want Conrad to tell him how to do his job. BTW, the primary’s name is Daniel, and I’m glad it’s not Danielll.

General Hospital

Sam meets Jason at the docks. She tells him for a wanted man, he’s taking a lot of chances. He says he needs another favor.

At the hospital, Monica tells Drew that she got a call that someone made a generous donation to the hospital in Michael’s son Jonah’s name. They wanted to remain anonymous, but it was him, wasn’t it? BTW, real Monica, Leslie Charleson, is back, and she looks terrific. More like she was relaxing on an island somewhere, than she’d had an accident.

At Kelly’s, Julian asks Ava what’s in her bag. She says it’s what she wanted to talk to him about. He says the way she’s clutching it, it’s either valuable or incriminating.

Brad and Lucas see Michael at the station. He asks if Brad is there to see Nelle. She snuck past guards, and they thought she might reach out to him. Brad says he hasn’t heard from her, but Michael says, even if he had, she’s back in custody thanks to Josslyn. Lucas asks if she made a citizen’s arrest, and Michael says he’ll put it this way – she’s her mother’s daughter. Lucas says he almost feels bad for Nelle.

Nelle tells Jordan that her baby’s death was caused by Jordan’s department. She has blood on her hands; Chase and Michael too. Jordan is truly sorry for her loss, but it doesn’t change the fact that she escaped police custody and fled. Nelle says she’ll never be able to get justice in Port Charles. Michael’s two families run this place – the Quartermaines and the Corinthoses. Jordan says Sonny didn’t make her confess to Zack’s murder or the attempted murder of Michael. They have everything they need to put her away. Nelle says if they did, she wouldn’t be sitting here. There’s something they still want from her, and it has everything to do with Carly.

On the phone, Sonny asks if Josslyn is okay, and thanks Max. Carly asks what happened, and he says, nothing. She doesn’t think it sounded like nothing. Sonny tells her that Nelle escaped from the hospital. If Josslyn hadn’t stopped her, she would have gotten away. She has superficial bruises, but she’s fine, and Nelle is back in custody. Carly says she should have been there, and now she’s taking off with Jason to Canada. She shouldn’t leave when everyone needs her.

Jason tells Sam that he’s going to try something. If it doesn’t work, he might have to go on the run. If he does, he can’t help Michael. Sam heard the baby was stillborn, and asks if he’s seen Michael. Jason says he’s at the safe house. He’s toughing it out, or trying to. He knows Sam knows what it’s like to lose a baby. Sam says, so does he. He tells her that he can’t be with Michael, and neither can Carly or Sonny. She says he doesn’t have to ask. She loves Michael, and will do everything she can.

Drew tells Monica that he’s sure plenty of people might have made an anonymous contribution. She says if he’s thinking of Sonny, there are plaques all over with his name one them; he’s hardly anonymous. Drew admits it was him, and she says it was beautiful gesture. It means a lot to Michael. They can’t bring Jonah back, but it will help other newborns. His life was brief, but he’ll have a lasting effect. If he’d like her advice, even though he didn’t ask for it, he shouldn’t be anonymous. He’s Drew Cain. Own it.

Ava tells Julian that it’s nothing incriminating. Not directly to her anyway. He asks why she’s nervous, and she says she’s just reacting to something someone else did; a problem someone else caused. He says, so she wants him to undo the problem, and asks if the sudden urge to do the right thing was influenced by Griff. She says it’s as much Julian’s fault as Griff’s. He says he wanted to do and be a better man for Kim, and he inspired her to be better. He ask if she’s relieved that Nelle was caught, but she says Nelle’s baby was stillborn. No matter what she did, no mother deserves to lose a baby. Julian says Michael lost a baby too. He doesn’t have much use for Michael, but as a father, Michael has his sympathy. He asks why Ava needed to see him. She says it will be easier if she shows him. She pulls a corner of the blanket out of the bag, and he asks if it’s what he thinks it is. Carly and Nelle argued over a blanket that mysteriously disappeared, and now he knows why. Ava says she needed leverage to keep Nelle quiet over something Nelle was holding over her head. He asks if it’s also something someone else did, and she says it’s not important. The blanket can somehow reappear. It will prove Carly is telling the truth, and free her. He says she’s doing this for Carly? Don’t kid a kidder. She’s afraid Nelle will give her up. She say she wants to put distance and closure in all aspects of the situation. He asks how she’s going to do that without getting caught, and she says, he is.

Jordan tells Nelle that she’s entitled to a lawyer, but she says she’ll stick with remaining silent. Jordan says she just lost a baby, not to mention a husband and her chance to inherit his money if he died like she’d planned. What does she have to gain by keeping silent about what she did to Carly. Nelle asks who says she did anything? Jordan plays the part of the tape where Michael asks her about gaslighting Carly. Nelle tells Michael that she’ll tell him everything if he pulls over, but he tries to get her to say Carly didn’t push her. Jordan says she was about to admit Carly never pushed her. She tells Nelle to finish her story, and for once, so the right thing. Nelle asks what’s in it for her?

Carly tells Sonny she won’t be there to help Michael with his grief. She won’t be there for Josslyn, who’s fourteen, and it couldn’t be a worse time for her to without her mom. Sonny says it’s only a matter of time before she’s cleared. In the meantime, Michael and Josslyn are with people who care. Not her, but they’re not alone. Carly asks, what about him? Jason will be gone and Michael is grieving. Who’s going to help him with his dad? He says sooner or later, Nelle will be on trial and go to prison where she belongs. Carly says it’s going to take a lot of time, and it’s the one thing she doesn’t have. She just wants it over.

Lucas tells Michael that he’s sorry; they both are. Michael says everyone has been very kind. He tells them congratulations; it’s amazing. Brad doesn’t think Michael wants to hear about it, but Michael says he does. They waited for months; they must have been surprised when a miracle showed up. Lucas says the baby wasn’t expected for another week. He was in surgery, and came out to a thousand messages from Brad. Brad says it’s time for the baby to eat. Lucas says he’ll just check at the desk, and make sure they still don’t need to talk to Brad. Brad tells Michael that the baby’s name is Wiley. Michael likes it, and asks to hold him. Brad gives Wiley to Michael, and looks worried.

Sam tells Jason that he should do anything he can to stay in Port Charles, not just for Carly, but for himself too. It took her a lot of years to accept that he’d do anything for Carly, and she realized it’s mutual. Carly isn’t afraid to take care of herself, but she depends on him, and he would go to prison for her in a heartbeat. She suggests he find another way. The list of people who need him is long, and includes Danny – and her. She doesn’t know how to define their relationship, but it doesn’t make it any less true.

Michael tells Wiley that he’s lucky, and his dads know how lucky they are. Lucas agrees, and asks if Brad is okay. Brad tells them he has to say something; something he should have said a long time ago. Michael says Wiley is the one good thing that’s happening. He’s going to be raised in love. He was planned for, wanted, and hoped for, and their lives are better because he’s in them. When he’s done with his Blue Fairy speech, Michael says he didn’t mean to cut Brad off. Brad tells Michael that he said it all. Michael gives Wiley back to Brad, and leaves the station. Lucas says Michael is right. They are so lucky.

Julian asks Ava is he’s supposed to drop the blanket on Sonny’s doorstep, ring the bell, and run. She suggests he plant it in the Quartermaine nursery. If anyone notices, he can says he’s there to see Leo. Julian says if he gets caught, he’ll never see Leo again. She tells him to just plant it there, and voila! He says a lot could go wrong, and it’s a bad time for him to get arrested. Wiley just arrived. Ava begs him to do this as a favor. If he puts it back, this can all be over. He tells her that he’s way nicer to her than she deserves. She asks if that’s a yes, and he says, hand it over. He leaves, and sees Margaux sitting outside. She asks if she can have a word, but he keeps moving. She says, I guess not.

Drew comes by, and Margaux asks if he saw Julian. Drew says Julian used to be his father-in-law once or twice. She asks what that’s about, and he says the short answer is, not anymore. She asks if he’d like to join her, and he asks for a raincheck. He thinks Curtis gave her the wrong impression, and wants to set the record straight.

Jordan tells Nelle cutting a deal might be tricky, since she’s implicated for murder. Nelle says what Chase and Michael did is called entrapment. She was cornered into saying what she didn’t want to. Jordan says she confessed in the car, and Nelle says it won’t hold up in court; she was coerced. She would have said anything to get Michael to stop the car before it crashed. Jordan asks how she knew it would crash, unless she was counting on it and arranged it? D-oh!

Jason comes back to the safe house, and Carly asks if Josslyn and Michael are okay. He says Michael is okay, but why Josslyn. Sonny explains that she stopped Nelle from escaping, and punches were thrown. He says she’s proud of herself. Carly is proud of her too, but Josslyn needs her. She might be strong on the outside, but on the inside, she’s a vulnerable teenager. Sonny asks if she’s having second thoughts about going to Canada, and Jason says they might not have to.

Jason shows them the consent form, saying he got it from Sam. Carly says the signature isn’t even close. She looks at the date, July 16^th, and says it was before Michael’s wedding and before she was drugged. There’s no way she signed it. Jason says there might be another way, but it’s risky.

Drew tells Margaux that Curtis thought there was something going on between them. Margaux says he did seem wingman-y. Drew says he just got divorced. Margaux was already aware of it, and he asks how she knows stuff. She says Curtis is his buddy, and works with Sam. He bought Aurora Media with her, and when they had their launch, Jason came through the skylight. It’s a matter of public record, and she’s just trying to follow the sequence. Drew was a Navy SEAL, and had his memories replaced with Jason’s. He was hit by a car and forgot, but eventually Jason’s memories came back. Drew says she’s accurate so far. She says all of his memories were stored on a flash drive. Margaux flashes back to looking at the information. Drew says at this point, the flash drive seems to be lost. He says it was nice of Curtis to be his wingman, but he’s not looking. She understands and appreciates that, but thinks it’s only appropriate to tell him to get over himself.

Lucas tells Brad they only wanted to talk about Nelle. Now that she’s back in custody, they’re good to go. He asks Brad what’s wrong, and Brad says he keeps thinking about the germs circulating in there. Lucas wonders when he last ate, and Brad asks what say it is. Lucas suggests they get take-out from Kelly’s, and go home with their son.

At the Quartermaine’s, Julian mumbles that Ava had better appreciate the things he does for her. He leaves the blanket in a dresser in the nursery.

Nelle tells Jordan it’s Chase’s word against hers. Jordan says funny she said that, since it’s her words that they’ll use to convict her. She plays the part of the tape where Nelle says the only way she can survive is if Michael dies, and asks Chase to find a way. Jordan asks if she’s sure she doesn’t want a lawyer.

Carly tells Jason it sounds great, assuming it will work. Sonny says, playing devil’s advocate, Canada is safer, easier, and the best idea. Carly just wants to get back to her life. Sonny says they both know she can get fixated on something, and make more trouble for herself. She says it’s riskier for Jason than for her. Jason says it’s her call.

Michael picks up a toy from the crib. Monica sees him, and asks if he’s okay. He says, no. He doesn’t think he will be for a very long time. Monica says he’s right, but he will get through this. She did. He says she’s one of a kind, and she tells him, thank God. Even she couldn’t put up with another one of her. He’s going to grieve, but he’ll endure. He asks how long it will take. She says from her experience, it will seem like forever until it doesn’t. Michael says, something to look forward to, and she hugs him.

Julian tells Ava, mission accomplished. The housekeeper let him in. He didn’t see anyone, so he’s in the clear, but it’s her last favor of the non-legal variety, now that Wiley has arrived. Here they are now. Lucas and Brad walk in with the baby, and Ava gushes over Wiley, calling him a born heartbreaker. Lucas tells Wiley, watch out; here comes trouble. Julian takes a picture. Brad goes to get the food, and Ava asks if he’s heard from Nelle. Jordan called to see if she’d contacted Ava. Brad says Jordan called him too, but Nelle is back in custody. Ava says, it’s a shame. She did all she could for Nelle. He says he knows the feeling, and she says, no one should lose a child.

Margaux tells Drew he’s not the only one not looking, and if she was, she wouldn’t need a matchmaker like Curtis. Drew says, good thing, since he’s not good at it. She wonders if when they do start looking, they need to use dating apps. Her phone dings, and Drew asks if she’s swiped right already. She has to go, but if he decides to put a toe back in the water… She leaves her card on the table.

Lucas tells Brad that his father likes to control things. Brad says he’s gone forty-eight hours without sleep, but can’t blame Julian for wanting to be included. Family means everything. Ava looks at Brad, Lucas, and Wiley, and remarks what a beautiful family they are.

Jordan tells Nelle that they everything they need to prosecute her for conspiracy to commit murder. In New York state, she can get life. Jordan says she’ll let Florida and Maine wrestle over the charges for Zack’s murder. She only hopes Nelle admits what she did to Carly. Nelle says Carly admitted she was crazy, and Jordan says Nelle gambled and lost. Don’t make it worse, perjuring herself over a crime they both know she committed. She asks what happened, and Nelle says she doesn’t feel well. She wants to go back to the hospital. Jordan says, the hospital she broke out of? She doesn’t think so. Jordan says to tell her what she needs to know. If Nelle is really sick, she’ll bring in a doctor. Nelle says she would like a lawyer now.

Michael looks through the baby clothes. Sam comes in, saying she thought she’d find him there. He calls her a good detective. He thought he’d pack everything up for the shelter. Sam asks if he’s sure it’s not too soon. She tells him they can go somewhere he can scream his lungs out. He says she just keeps thinking about how the kids can use these things, and it would be selfish to hold on to them. She offers to help, and he accepts. He says his marriage was a lie, but the baby was real. He remembers the first sonogram, and the first time he felt the baby move. He realized how his life changed forever, and now… She says he still has Jonah. He may not have been in the world long, but he will always be a part of Michael’s heart. The love he feels is reason to keep living for him. Michael says he doesn’t know how to do this. Sam tells him every day is a victory; every hour he doesn’t give in to despair. She wants him to be proud. He knows and is proud. He starts to put things in a box.

Julian takes more pictures. Ava says he looks like a normal, doting grandfather, He says he is, more or less.

Sonny asks Jordan what to expect. She says if his wife turns herself in voluntarily, she has questions. He says what about? The set-up by an admitted murderer she has in custody already? Why not set up a case for that instead of searching for his wife?

Margaux sees Jason at the docks. She got his text and was intrigued. He thanks her for coming, but she tells him to save it. Give her one good reason why she shouldn’t turn him in.

Sam tells Michael it’s okay. He says he’s just remembering how he ordered everything. Nelle picked out some things, but it was mostly him. He says Brad and Lucas have everything picked out already. Sam says they have everything in the nursery decorated within an inch of its life, but not so much the clothes. Does he want to give some to them from Wiley’s cousin Jonah? He hands her some clothes, and opens another drawer. He sees the baby blanket, and says he can’t believe it. He asks Sam if it looks familiar.

Sonny tells Jordan that Carly was drugged and tortured at Ferncliff. She was in fear for her life. If Jordan won’t talk about it now, then he’ll talk about it with someone else; the government, press, whoever will listen. She tells him there’s no need to involve the press, but he thinks there is. Ferncliff forged Carly’s signature on a consent form.

Carly walks into the interrogation room. She tells Nelle, long time no see, and smiles.

Tomorrow, Griff tells Ava that he loves her, Scotty is going to do everything in his power to win, and Carly tells Nelle that she messed with the wrong family.

The Real Housewives of Orange County

Vicki takes Tamra for a follow-up on her foot. Vicki asks the doctor when Tamra can whoop it up again. Vicki embarrasses Tamra and the doctor by talking about Tamra being naked in the hot tub when she broke her foot. Tamra would rather see a hot doctor in the OC than a late night ER doctor in Mexico. It’s a slow-healing fracture, but the doctor says if it doesn’t heal, she’ll need surgery. Tamra says having a broken foot sucks. How is she going to work out? She asks if Vicki she’s talked to Kelly. Vicki says no, but she told Kelly that she and Steve are friends with Michael and the woman he’s dating. In her interview, Tamra is Team Kelly, and says this was a bad move on Vicki’s part.

Emily goes to the gym, and her husband’s family tags along. She feels like she married them as well as her husband, but they all get along great. Mother-in-law Pary (angel in Persian) asks about Shane taking the bar exam. He hasn’t passed yet, and she wants to know how to help him. Emily knows what it takes, and says she can’t push him. In her interview, Emily says Pary thinks because she’s Shane’s wife, she can motivate him. Pary says if he doesn’t take it, Shane should shut up about taking it.

Kelly meets Vicki for coffee. In her interview, Kelly says seeing Vicki’s name on her phone made her feel like she had a pit in her stomach. We see a clip of Vicki calling her. Kelly says she thought could trust Vicki, but she’s on Michael’s side; that’s not a friend. She says she gets it, but she was upset because she heard it from someone else. When you’re friends, you share things. Vicki says she was going to tell Kelly when they went to dinner with Jolie, but didn’t want to involve Jolie, and she didn’t feel comfortable telling her on the phone. Kelly says she doesn’t roll like that. In her interview, Kelly says she’s a ride or die friend, and Vicki is fair weather. Kelly says she was livid. Vicki says Kelly screamed at her and she doesn’t want to be screamed at. She deserves respect. Kelly says respect is earned, and Vicki insists she’s going to have it.

Kelly tells Vicki that if she and Steve break up, she’ll make sure Vicki knows how it feels. She’ll hook Steve up and go one a double-date with him. Vicki knows it doesn’t feel good, and wants to fix it. She wants it to be us again. In her interview, Kelly doesn’t think Vicki is really sorry. She can forgive her, but still not trust her. She accepts Vicki’s apology. In her interview, Vicki says she did nothing wrong, and Kelly needs to look in the mirror, and figure out why she’s so temperamental.

Shannon is experimenting with some recipes. In her interview, she tells us about her yo-yo of weight loss and gain. She realizes it needs to be a lifestyle change, not a diet. Every time she goes off one, she thinks, now she can eat. Her friend, Marcy, has a connection with QVC, and thought Shannon should do a recipe book. She’s making healthy meals with a lot of flavor. Her daughters are helping do the taste test. She tells them if QVC doesn’t like the food, there’s no deal. Golden Retriever Archie prays that one of them drops something. The girls like the food, but think it’s a little too spicy. In her interview, Shannon knows she’s not the only one struggling, but you don’t have to eat like Tamra, having a piece of chicken that tastes like cardboard. Despite the criticism, the girls think she’s got a winner. One of them doesn’t like cheese though, which boggles my mind.

Gina and her mom, Susan, bring the kids to the zoo. Gina says having her mom there from Long Island is a help, and she doesn’t have to pay her. Gina asks how Susan likes California, and Susan asks if Gina is ever coming back to New York. In her interview, Gina says she originally didn’t know they would end up living apart. Him getting home earlier was one of the reasons why they moved in the first place. She thought it was the beginning of an amazing life, but it’s hard. She sends her husband a picture, and checks in.

Tamra and Shannon are meeting Emily and Gina for dinner. In her interview, Tamra says Shannon hates everybody who’s new. We flash back to her being nasty to everyone who has joined the cast since she did. She doesn’t expect it to go well, and can’t wait. Tamra has a little scooter thing to get around in. Kelly and Vicki also join them. We find out Shannon went to law school, but dropped out after her second year. She was engaged, and stayed because her fiancé didn’t like her being there. When they broke up, she left. I kind of understand this, although my experience was the opposite. When I was in high school, my boyfriend wanted to take tap dance lessons (we were both in theatre), and it was cheaper if I took them with him. I hated it, he graduated early and moved to NYC, and I switched to jazz. Shannon says she didn’t want anyone telling her what to do.

Gina orders an Old Fashioned, and Tamra thinks it’s some kind of shot. Shannon talks about spanx. Gina is anti-Spanx, and Shannon says she’s wearing three sets, but when she was thirty-three, she rocked her natural stuff too. In her interview, Gina doesn’t understand why people think she’s from New Jersey. She’s not offended, but it’s a totally different state. In her interview, Shannon says she’s been making healthy choices, and thinks it’s not that hard. We see her ask for the pizza to be passed her way, and she adds, then it spirals. Since she had a pastry, she might as well have a doughnut. She tells the girls about the QVC gig, and says there’s a 20% chance they’ll like it. Kelly says Shannon that she looks great, and Shannon says she’s single now. She mentions David dating someone twenty years younger. Vicki says it’s bizarre.

Kelly says what’s bizarre, is that Vicki hooked her ex up with a friend. In her interview, Vicki says Kelly accepted her apology. She wasn’t going to bring it up again. Vicki says her friend wanted to meet Michael. Kelly says Vicki didn’t tell her, and Vicki says she thought they already discussed it. She doesn’t know why it’s being brought up now. In her interview, Kelly claims she just wanted to get some other opinions. Emily says you should stick with the girl. Gina calls girl code, and basically says Vicki is a loser. She says she would have told the friend, eff you, I’m not hooking you up. In her interview, Kelly hopes Vicki learned her lesson, since she was schooled in being wrong. Vicki says that’s not how it happened. In her interview, stubbornly missing the point, Vicki says Kelly divorced Michael, and he’s available to date who he wants. Emily says they should make a pact that no one hooks up anyone’s ex with a friend.

Kelly’s new boyfriend walks in, and there’s immediate PDA. In her interview, Vicki says Kelly thinks it’s okay to flaunt her new boyfriend in the midst of a girls’ night. Kelly introduces him around. In her interview, Shannon doesn’t know if she’s ready to date. Part of her thinks it would be fun, but part of her thinks she’d be sick to her stomach. The PDA continues, and everyone is creeped out. In her interview, Emily is glad she’s married and not dating. The grass is not always greener. Sometimes it’s a sh*tty condo sitting on a vacant lot. The girls jet one by one, and Emily says, we’ll just leave you two alone.

Shannon tells Tamra a few things were awkward. Tamra says it was weirdest dinner ending ever, even for them. We flash back to the endings of a few of those dinners. Vicki tells Tamra that she and Kelly had closed the chapter, and then she brought it up. In her interview, Vicki says Gina is stepping into a cesspool of chaos, and should stay out of it. In the bathroom, Gina tells Emily this is what they have to look forward to with any second opportunities.

Tamra lights sage to get the negative energy out of the house. Is she not a Christian anymore? Eddie tells her not to burn the house down, and she says she’s just staging it. She asks the spirits to stop sh*t from happening to her and Eddie. In her interview, she tells us about Eddie drilling into the fire sprinkler while doing renovation. A smell is coming from the drain, her foot is broken, and Eddie’s heart is broken. Eddie says the doctor is going to prescribe stronger meds to restrict his heart rate. He has a friend who was in the exact same boat, and it took another procedure to fix. Tamra says they’ll never have sex again. Eddie tells her not to worry about that.

Gina visits Tamra. Tamra doesn’t want to beat around the bush, and says Vicki sent her a message. Gina says Vicki hates her. Tamra says Vicki didn’t say hate, but she doesn’t like Gina. Gina knew she was on Vicki’s sh*t list, but that’s Vicki’s issue. Tamra says Vicki wants everyone to agree with her; it’s her personality. Gina says she’s totally not that person. Even if she’s friends with someone, she doesn’t blow smoke up their ass. Thank you. She says if she’s asked her opinion, she’ll give it. In her interview, she says in New York, you know who likes you; in the OC, four out of seven hate your guts, but smile at you anyway.

In her interview, Emily says Shane’s mom bringing up the bar exam gives her anxiety. It’s a touchy subject, and she doesn’t want to be in the middle, or have Shane think she’s pressuring him, or that she’s not on his side. She’s always respectful to her mother-in-law, but doesn’t want Shane to think she’s talking behind his back. She tells Shane what his mom asked, and he says he’s taking the exam for himself, not for anyone else. Emily says that’s the only thing she wanted. Shane says the last time he took it, it was a rush. They were moving, and everyone was adjusting. He needs certain things in order, like the children’s schedules being taken care of. Emily says she can do that, and he tells her that he’ll also need to take a break from work, so he put in a notice. She assumes it’s not the next one in two months, and he says the one after that, ten months. In her interview, Emily says it’s a lesson in perseverance. She asks Shane to tell his mother.

Vicki meets Gina for a walk. In her interview, Gina says Vicki has the right to say she’s offended, but she has the right to her opinion. We see a clip of Vicki talking on the phone with Gina, who invites her on the walk. Gina says she wants to get to know Vicki, but also felt that stuff came up at the dinner, which was between Vicki and Kelly, but since it was brought up at the table, she was vocal about it. Vicki says everyone has an opinion, but unless it pertains to her, Vicki’s advice is to be cool with everyone. I translate that to mean, if you don’t agree, butt out. Gina says girls should stick together, and Vicki asks if that means she agrees that Vicki shouldn’t have said anything because her friend asked her not to. Nicely spun! In her interview, Gina says it’s a Jedi mind trick. Someone does something awful that you’re opposed to, and they twist it so you’re the bad person. She says it’s impressive, and she’s going to master it. Then she’s going to Jedi mind trick all the California bitches. She tells Vicki that she’s not a sh*t talker. Vicki says Gina is from New York; she might be. Gina amends that to, she might be, but to the person’s face. In her interview, Vicki says Gina can’t school her. Then she says a whole lot of words that amount to, it’s her sandbox, and she gets to choose who plays in it. Gina says Kelly was upset, and Vicki tells her that Kelly was fine when they’d met earlier. Gina says she clearly wasn’t, since she was bringing it up. Vicki says Kelly wanted to cause problems. Gina says it’s cool Vicki is standing by her decision, but it’s okay to disagree. She’s out of it now, and she’s not running to Kelly to discuss it. Vicki asks how she’s adjusting to California. Gina says she’s getting there. Vicki says when she first moved there, she kept thinking her mom would follow, but eventually realized it was about her and her kids. Now, it’s her daughter and her family. She asks how old Gina is, and finds out she’s thirty-three, the same age as Briana. She says Gina could be her daughter.

Next time, Tamra coaches Shannon at the gym, the girls play poker, Kelly won’t let it go, and Tamra feels helpless about Eddie.

🍸 Well, bless her heart. Ashley made an appearance on Southern Charm Savannah, so I halfway paid attention. Not that Ashley; the one from Savannah last season, who’s not in the cast this season. She met with Daniel, who said he’d always had a soft spot in his heart for her, even though she wasn’t very transparent about herself. She was transparent in the clip they showed from last time, playing golf in lingerie after suggesting she and the guys play strip golf. She told Daniel that she didn’t want to hurt anyone, which he felt was an intense cop-out, and was pretty much what she said to all of the guys’ girlfriends after the golf game. Hannah had a Chrismukkah party, designed by Bruce the party planner. It was impressive, but nothing like Patricia’s Winter Wonderland Ball in Charleston.

👠 TLC is rerunning the first season of Too Close to Home in the wee hours of the morning. Another Tyler Perry effort, I love this one too. Trailer park trash, Annie, shuns her roots and works herself up to a job in Washington DC, after which she proceeds to have an affair with the President. He has a heart attack while they’re having sex, and all hell breaks loose. All hell being mostly in the form of the First Lady (Heather Locklear). Annie ends up a fugitive and goes back home, where she reconnects with the very masculine, yet gentle of soul, Brody. A good reason alone for the ladies (and some gentlemen) to watch. It’s a great story. Unfortunately, there are only 16 episodes, as it was canceled after the second season, but it’s just delicious.

💼 Better Call Saul is back for a fourth season. I really like this show, but my dance card is filled. If yours isn’t, give it a try.

Yvette Nicole Brown hosted, and I love her, but I’ll wait until the season starts, when hopefully Talking Dead will be back to normal. Or abnormal. However you look at it. Instead, I took the opportunity to gather my notes and thoughts about…

💍 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?

Where to start? This franchise now has so many spin-offs, they could have their own channel – all 90 Day all the time. Which would be fine with me. For whatever reason, I’m obsessed with this train wreck. The new season of Before the 90 Days starts tonight, so I figured it was time to catch up with the previous group.

Let me start by saying, there must be a pamphlet they give you when you come into the US that includes the translation in all languages of the f-word, as well as the phrase WTF? Not one person on this show, regardless of their level of English language capability, hasn’t gotten those two things down.

Let’s begin with Jorge and Anfisa. My opinion of Anfisa has totally changed since we first met her. While Jorge didn’t seem like any huge prize, but she was constantly screaming, hitting, and throwing things at him. I get it now, since apparently, the way to tell that Jorge is lying is that his lips are moving. He lured Anfisa to America, claiming he was going to give her the lifestyle of a princess because he was huge weed mogul. She knew no one and couldn’t even get a job until she got a green card, and it turned out she didn’t know Jorge either. He didn’t even have a job and was deeply in dept. At their first tell all, he got downright creepy, throwing veiled threats her way, acting like he was a member of the mafioso or something. He kept hinting about what she did “for a living,” making it sound like she must be a prostitute. Later, a webcam video (which has only ever been referred to as the webcam) surfaced. Of course I had to check it out, and it really wasn’t much of anything, and was her alone. She still insists it was just someone who looked like her, but I dunno about that. It sure looked like her, but I couldn’t see what the big deal was, especially since the video was supposedly taken long before they committed to each other.

Fast forward to the latest season. Although separated, they decided to go to counseling, both together and separately. Jorge said he lied to deflect Anfisa screaming at him, although she was usually screaming at him because he lied. When asked what he loved best about her, Jorge said, her honesty. The counselor said that was interesting, since it’s something she said she wants, but isn’t getting, from him. Jorge believed money was the answer to their problems, and wouldn’t consider otherwise. She also told the counselor that she thought they should go their separate ways, but was afraid Jorge would ruin her life as he’d threatened. She felt like a prisoner in the relationship. To make matters worse, an ex had come out of the woodwork, with a ten-year-old child she claimed was Jorge’s. He said he’d get a DNA test, but he’s yet to do it.

Next, we have Chantel and Pedro. The crux of their issue is the family dynamic. Pedro continuously sends loads of money to his mother and sister in the DR, who thank to him, live in a spacious four-bedroom, two bath apartment. Meanwhile, he and Chantel live in a cramped one-bedroom where most of their living space is taken up by his gaming system. The only people who think this is a good idea are Pedro, and his mother and sister, who seem like a couple of nasty-ass grifters. They couldn’t care less about Chantel or Pedro’s marriage to her. Case in point. When Pedro, Chantel and her family came to the Dominican Republic to have a second wedding and meeting of the families, their first question was, where is the gigantic TV you were going to bring us? Chantel’s parents met with a private investigator, with Chantel tagging along. The investigator was gung-ho about looking into Pedro’s family, thinking their might be an illegal business like a marriage ring involved, but Chantel put the kibosh on it, so it was a big bunch of nothing, except for the P.I. getting a free TV spot. We also got the free advice to always follow the money trail. I seriously doubt Pedro’s mother is anything except greedy, but I would have liked to see if anything got turned up. Pedro’s sister came for a visit, and although Chantel did her best to be accommodating, sleeping on the new $1000 couch was not good enough for Nicole. Somehow, they got past that, but dinner with the family Chantel was a total disaster. To be honest, Chantel’s parents don’t come of as very sympathetic characters either. I understand why they don’t have a good impression of Pedro’s mother and sister (his mother once called them stupid Americans for wanting a prenup), but they’ve consistently talked down to them, as though they’re deaf three-year-olds who are slow learners. They also have a tendency to come off like bad actors, in their interviews and their interactions with the others on the show, which makes me wonder if they’re just badly playing to the camera. They did not, however, instigate the fight in the most scandalous episode ever.

During Nicole’s visit, Chantel’s parents invited her, along with Chantel and Pedro, to dinner. They did tongue in cheekily serve chicken wings, although I was disappointed that they didn’t say, sorry we were all out of chicken feet, when they served them. I almost felt badly for Nicole, when Karen (Chantel’s mom) blindsided her, firing questions about how the visit was going. When Nicole lied, saying everything was fine, Karen told Nicole that she knew better, and Nicole had applauded when Chantel left the apartment after the couch argument. Pedro told Chantel’s parents to shut up, brother River told Pedro not to talk to his parents that way, and Pedro stood up. River stood up, and while they were having words, frustrated, he hit the pendulum light, which was a big paper lantern thing. It swung in Pedro’s direction, and Pedro teleported over the table, grabbing River by the collar. It was on after that, with the two best parts being Nicole getting knocked down and her high-heeled foot sticking up from the floor; and Pedro, doing a sidekick and knocking what was left on the table to the floor. That was after the fight had been broken up too. Chantel’s father kept repeating, what did you do that for? while Karen yelled immagaçion for Pedro and Nicole! While it was amusing, it lessened what little respect I had for Pedro. I can’t find out how old River is, but he looks like a big teenager, and there was no excuse for Pedro jumping on him. While it made me almost – almost – sympathetic toward Nicole, she’s been nothing but a brat, thinking it’s all very funny that she’s being disrespectful to Chantel, and calling her hysterical, when she was nothing of the kind. Exasperated maybe. Her mother encourages this behavior, but for Pedro to allow it in his and Chantel’s home is a no. There was some weird after-show where Michelle Collins interviewed a very reluctant cameraman who had a front row seat for the fight. Last we checked, Chantel and Pedro were talking divorce.

What can you say about David and Annie, but poor Annie. At this point, she’s thinking she made a huge mistake, and wanted to go back to Thailand. As if David not having a job wasn’t enough, they ended up moving into an apartment above a storage facility in exchange for David working there. Owned by David’s friend Chris, the firehouse they were living in was sold, and they had three days to move. Chris is probably an ex-friend now, although he did steer David to the storage facility. Three days to move is inhumane, but perhaps he got tired of David’s perpetual need to be helped. He’s not exactly looking that hard for work either, thinking many jobs are beneath him, because he has a masters degree. Hey, sport, you’ve been out of the country for years, are not collecting unemployment, and can’t afford to be choosy. According to David’s sister, who we also met this season, he’s made a lifelong career out of being a sponge. She wouldn’t lend him money either, having done it a few times. Daughter Ashley was her usual bi-polar self, acting nice to Annie one minute, and accusing her of being a prostitute the next. She claimed not to trust Annie, which is interesting, since David was another one who lied to hook his wife. I noted that David’s sister, Nancy, looked like David in a wig. There was much ado about Annie wanting a child, with Ashley griping that he didn’t take care of the ones he’s got. She’ll be forty and still complaining about that. Annie did find a Buddhist temple – in the middle of whatever middle of nowhere they live in – which gave her some peace, and was cool to see.

My first thought when seeing Pao and Russ again was, what is up with Russ’s hair? He went from looking normal to looking like he’s three and his mom cut it. Russ left any job opportunities he had in Oklahoma to move to Miami, so Pao could pursue her modeling career. While it’s nothing sleazy, and I hate even saying it, what over-thirty Pao calls a modeling career isn’t exactly Heidi Klum modeling or even one of the Kardashians. She wears a lot of lingerie, and also did a music video, wearing lingerie. This season, she and Russ went to Columbia, and Pao did a calendar wearing body paint, which is even less than lingerie. Pao invited Russ, her parents, and mean queen friend Juan to the shoot. Russ and Juan were not supposed to cross paths, since seeing Juan makes Russ’s blood boil, but cross paths the did, Juan making a big show out of greeting Pao’s parents. Juan hoped to make Russ feel like a cockroach, and wanted to spit on him, but needed to maintain his good boy image. I’m not crazy about Russ, but I’d love to knock Juan on his ass. I will admit, him singing a bar of La Cucaracha was amusing.

After Pao and Russ got back to the US, Pao’s doctor told her it wasn’t as grim as she thought after her miscarriage, and could get pregnant again, bringing the baby to term. She talked to her friend Jenny, telling her that Russ wasn’t being supportive, and Jenny suggested that maybe Russ wasn’t sure what to do for her, and she needed to communicate better. Yeah, like maybe not screeching at him to STFU when he’s not saying anything. Pao explained that she didn’t tell Juan because she didn’t think he had the kindness or tenderness to handle it right. Making me wonder again why she’s friends with that cretin. At present, as mentioned in another post, Pao and Russ are expecting, and her doctor gave me one of that week’s best quotes: You googled, so now you’re dying from something.

We already knew things weren’t working out for Molly and Luis, and it was the end of the road. It wasn’t the radical age difference – somewhere around twenty years, Luis being younger – but the lifestyle difference. Luis was not ready, if he’ll ever be, to settle down and help raise children. Molly’s oldest daughter had booked to her boyfriend’s house, and Luis was strutting around, blasting music from a portable speaker. Molly said Luis wasn’t the same man, and thought he’d expected vacation Molly. He put his heart in it until he got there. Luis cleared out when Molly wasn’t around, leaving his Dominican shirt behind. His room was a total wreck. She’d thought he was her lifelong love, but it didn’t happen. I’m not sure why she thought it would, but maybe there was something I didn’t see. All Molly knew for sure is that she no longer wanted to be with him, and filed divorce papers.

Here came the worst part. Molly found out she might have to be responsible for Luis for the next ten years, since she signed an affidavit of support. The lawyer explained it was because our government says, you brought him here, you deal with him. I can’t say as I blame them, but I felt badly for her.

Nicole and Azan just plain don’t know what the hell they’re doing. Or he’s a scammer and he’s bad at it. Azan was denied his visa, but not because of any of the horrible things the immigration lawyer suggested. He explained the interviewer focused on him having a previous visa to visit an ex-girlfriend. Azan believed they thought he just wanted out of Morocco. That’s funny, because he seems like that’s the last thing he wants. The wedding was canceled – twice. The first time was because scatterbrained Nicole thought a photocopy of a document was good enough. It’s not good enough for a driver’s license, so it’s highly doubtful it would be good enough for a foreign government. Azan’s family was not too happy, since they’d sunk money into this thing. Nicole’s mother came to Morocco anyway, to see May, and also grill Azan, who admitted he’d talked to other women before realizing Nicole was the one. I realized something too. That Nicole’s family always gives in to her because she whines. Especially when she’s the one who screwed something up. Fast forward to the second cancellation.

This was in a separate episode, subtitled, I can’t remember exactly what, but it could have been Nicole and Azan’s Journey to No Wedding. After being outfitted in several gorgeous dresses, along with accompanying tiaras; having a tasting in a place no woman had been in for a tasting before, and where Nicole had to explain pigs-in-a-blanket, which Azan translated to American hotdogs; and Nicole’s family being all pumped and ready to fly to Morocco, the wedding was canceled. In their interview, both Azan and Nicole claimed they’d made a joint decision, but the look on Nicole’s face said everything. Not only that, Azan suggested they take any money they were putting toward the wedding, and invest it in buying a “make-up store.” I have no clue if that meant something like Sephora or what. He put in $500 to her $6000. Again, Nicole’s mom insisted on coming, since she had the reservation anyway. She was not too happy when she didn’t get to see the store, being told it wasn’t ready yet. To date, don’t think it has been. Like a website that’s always under maintenance or a hotel pool that’s always being cleaned.

🔥 Capsule of The Couples Tell All

Shawn Robinson is the host of these reunions, and she’s the worst. Way too many over-the-top faces, and wows. I once again wondered if Pedro calls Chantel baby because he doesn’t remember her name. Ashley Skyped in, and acted like an idiot, demanding to know how David met Annie. Who cares? Annie has so far drawn the short straw here. Let’s not punish her further. Annie did make it clear that David had 90 days (yes, she said that) to prove his worth, or she was going back to her homeland. By the end of this roller coaster ride, Annie said she hoped she and Ashley would be “a good family,” and had everyone crying.

Not so much Anfisa, who came in with an attitude because of remarks made behind-the-scenes about her, by Pao in particular. At one point, Pao was trying to get Jorge’s attention because a cameraman was signaling him, and Anfisa gave her the finger, thinking Pao was giving her the finger. I think Anfisa was actually embarrassed when she realized what was happening, but never one to give in, she said Pao deserved it anyway for what she’d said. Anfisa got up in a hold-my-hoops kind of way, but nothing came of it. And maybe she’s right. I’d give Pao the finger too. She needs to dump Juan, who also Skyped in. Russ said Pao is a mean girl when she’s around Juan, and he’s definitely right. Juan did his usual lowlife thing, saying Pao should divorce Russ and marry someone he had in mind who was “worthy.” Pao knew who he was talking about, but acted coy, making me ill. I’m hoping Juan is out of the picture now that a baby is in it.

Chantel’s parents also dropped by on Skype, causing Pedro’s head to explode for a moment. He walked off, but then Chantel talked him down and back to his seat. The fight was rehashed, but it was like the parents were reading it off of cue cards. Nicole’s mom joined the group, as did Azan and Nicole from Morocco, via Skype. They were interrogated about everything from Azan’s lack of a job to his phone call habits. Nicole whined that how she spent her money was no one’s business. This has been a repetitive whine of hers, but I wonder how much money she’s gotten from her family.

Anfisa again insisted the webcam wasn’t her, and Annie agreed with me that it sure looked like her. Annie cracks me up. She’s very sweet, and also seems like a bit of a kinkball. Jorge and Russ nearly came to fake blows, when Jorge told Pao to mind her own business. We also found out that Jorge had been arrested for several hundred pounds of weed. He couldn’t talk about it, even though the poor excuse for a host prodded him.

Luis also didn’t want to talk. He never showed up, but David called him on the phone. Apparently, David talks to both Pedro and Luis all the time. Luis might not be talking to him anymore though, since he passed to phone to Shawn. Luis abruptly said he was busy, call later, and ended the call. Molly called him a narcissistic turd, which pretty much said it all.

🌄 Refreshing Our Memories…

In catching up, with the last Before the 90 Days group, What Now? found Cortney still chasing Antonio. I’ll bet her friends are sick of her talking about Antonio. He was in NYC working, but when Cortney suggested she visit, he said it was a stressful time. I’m thinking Cortney makes it a stressful time. She ultimately decided it wasn’t worth waiting forever, and ended the relationship. Antonio couldn’t understand why, which proved her point that it was going nowhere.

Myriam visited Patrick in the US. After some friction with his mother – or rather, from his mother – they bonded over soul food. Andrei is still dour, and his father-in-law is bugging him to do something with his life. The family was not thrilled when Andrei and Elizabeth thought they should have a second wedding in Moldova. It was only going to cost a measly $15K.

Kirlam and Alan had their baby, and damn if Liam wasn’t the cutest thing. They had this baby wrangler do professional shots, and he was born for the spotlight. They’re a really nice couple, and I can’t figure out how they ended up on this show. Aika wants to be pregnant, but Josh wants her to be practical expense-wise, and freeze her eggs until she’s forty. He got a hard no on that. He also made sure she knew that his sperm weren’t duds. He was still producing; they just couldn’t get out. Devar’s did, and he and Melanie have a baby, but they seemed to be at an annoying stage in their marriage. They’d had a big blow-out, Devar swore off booze, and all was well. He does seem like a doting father, and it looks like they love each other. Another couple who made a wrong turn and ended up here.

Danielle still hasn’t learned her lesson, and was already well on her way to being catfished by a new dude named Nelson. Just prior to, and during, the six-hour drive she was making to meet him, her calls went to voice mail. And then it was mailbox full. No surprise, there was no answer to her knock when she got there. She blamed Mohamad for cursing her. Until he came along, she didn’t have these problems. She’s also suing him. I’m pretty sure Mohamad has a stalker for life.

🔄 Back to the Present…

Before the 90 Days is back, along with Paul and Karine, and D’Arcy and Jesse. There are some new people, whose names I can’t retain yet, but one looks like a scam, and another looks like a catfish. Jesse is visiting D’Arcy in the US, and it looks like it won’t be long before there’s trouble in paradise. Paul is headed for Brazil, where he’s hoping to marry Karine. Her parents want a look at his arrest record for themselves, although with her father being an ex-cop, you’d think he could get that online or something. Paul didn’t tell his mommy that he might be bringing back a wife. Mommy packed him a lunch and told him not to have an anxiety attack.

General Hospital

I come in a minute late, since the news had to tell us it was raining.

Jordan tells Robert that she’s gotten the all=clear from GH. Peter is going to be released into his custody. Michael comes into the station. Jordan thanks him for coming. He says he doesn’t have much time, and she says as soon as he tells her where to find his mom and Jason, he can be on his way.

Robert goes to Finn’s office. He says they’re not the only ones with travel plans. The Bureau wants Peter on the next flight. Finn wonders how to prepare when rescuing someone you care about from faceless, nameless adversaries. Robert tells him, improvise.

Lulu visits Peter’s hospital room. She tells him that he’s lucky. The doctors are optimistic that he’ll make a full recovery. He says he has a future of hunting and pecking to look forward to. Lulu is surprised Steinmaur lets their prisoners use computers. How progressive.

Maxie tells Nina that her parents are obsessed with James, but he’d like to see his Aunt Nina. Nina says he will. Now that she’s not in fear of being locked up. She can concentrate on Crimson and her life. Maxie tells her not to take it the wrong way, but she seems upbeat to the point of covering something up. What is Nina not telling her? Nina tells her not to worry, but Maxie says the more Nina stalls, the more worried she gets. She tells Nina about Obrecht breaking out of the van, and causing an accident with Michael and Nelle. Nina asks if they’re okay. Maxie says, Obrecht escaped, Michael and Nelle are okay, but not their baby.

At the hospital, Stella tells Brad and Lucas that Wiley is a fine name; a name with substance. Lucas says he’s never been happier. Brad agrees.

Jordan tells Michael that Jason broke his mom out of Ferncliff. There were multiple witnesses who ID’d his photo. Michael says he was busy at the time. His son died. Jordan is sorry for his loss. She says it’s only going to get worse, the longer Carly and Jason stay on the run. If they contact Michael, or if he finds out anything, he has to tell her. Jordan’s phone rings. It’s Chase, saying he needs an APB on Nelle. She got away.

Nelle, now wearing scrubs – very stylish ones, I might add – goes to the docks. Josslyn steps out and grans her arm. She asks where Nelle is going. Nelle tells Josslyn that she shouldn’t be there. Josslyn says that makes two of them. Nelle says she was cleared to leave, and Josslyn says, by the police? Nelle says, no; by the doctors. Josslyn asks why she didn’t leave by the front door. She thought it seemed suspicious, so she decided to follow Nelle. Nelle asks her if she told anyone. Josslyn says, no, and Nelle asks her to keep it between them.

Finn tells Robert that he texted his itinerary to “Anna.” Someone is supposed to pick him up in San Francisco. Robert says they’ll grab him before he gets to the airport. He’ll be tracking Finn, and when he leads Robert to Anna’s captors, he’ll bring down the hammer. Finn wonders what happens to Anna while they’re waiting.

Peter tells Lulu that she’s jumping to conclusions; a good reporter knows better. Lulu says maybe she’s not as talented as he thought. Every time he set her up, she believed him. She played right into his hands.

Nina tells Maxie that you know it’s bad when your heart goes out to Nelle. Does she think… Maxie says, that Obrecht caused the baby’s death? She doesn’t know. Obrecht already has too much guilt to carry around. Maxie feels like going back to bed, but Nina says she has some positive news. Lucas and Brad got their baby. Her cousin is a father.

Stella congratulates Brad and Lucas. Curtis says they’re two lucky dads. Lucas thinks Brad is extra quiet, and asks what’s going on.

Chase comes to the station. Michael asks how Nelle got out, and he says the officer guarding her got called away. I guess that’s a euphemism for went to the bathroom. Michael noticed there were no handcuffs, and Chase says they didn’t think it was necessary. She was too weak to escape. Michael says they underestimated Nell, and Chase says they’re combing the hospital. It’s all over the news, and she has no money or friends. Michael says they can look too.

Brad gets a call. Jordan tells him that he needs to come to the station. He asks if he’s under arrest, and she says, that depends on if he committed a crime. She has some questions about his friend Nelle.

Nelle thanks Josslyn for not calling the police. Josslyn says don’t thank her yet. Nelle can imagine what Josslyn is thinking. The terrible things people are saying about her; they’re all lies. She should believe her heart. Josslyn says her heart is telling her that Nelle planned to kill her brother. Nelle says that’s what Chase wants her to believe. Josslyn says Nelle used Morgan’s memory to sabotage her mom, and played on her grief. Nelle says her mom is sick. Josslyn saw how Carly came after her, and saw her at the bottom of the stairs. Carly wanted her to die, and the baby did. Exactly like her mom wanted.

Lucas asks Brad what Jordan wants, but Brad doesn’t know. Jordan says it’s an urgent matter of public safety. Brad says he can’t help, but she says it’s not a request. She expects him there immediately.

Max texts congratulations to Lucas. She’s thrilled to see everything isn’t gloom and doom. Nina buried the lead. Nina says, speaking of which, Maxie’s desk is cold and lonely. Maxie says she stopped by, and the office was a hot mess. It was like a thirty-car pile-up. Nina says she needs Maxie back.

Peter tells Lulu it was never personal- he was in a fight for his life with his father. Lulu says he lured Faison there, knowing Jason would kill him, and he’s using his last moments of freedom to spin the story. She says she wrote a follow-up. He tells her that she has a lot of potential. The paper is lucky to have her. He tells her not to let Dante deter her, but she says if she gives up, it will be her decision. He asks if she’s considering quitting, but she doesn’t know. She wanted ot make a difference in the world for better, but when she balances it against the damage she’s caused, she’s in the red deep.

Jordan says Ava isn’t picking up; she’s sending a car to the gallery. Chase says the hospital called, and they’re sending over the security footage. Jordan tells Michael to stick around, but he says she has no right to detain him. She says she’ll think of something. Chase says he’s been working to provoke Nelle, but she’s no longer his responsibility. Michael asks if Chase is going to cuff him, and Chase says if he has to.

Nelle tells Josslyn the baby is dead, and she can’t even bring herself to say she’s sorry. She’s just repeating Carly’s lies. Josslyn says, they’re not lies. Nelle says she thought Josslyn had a mind of her own, but she’s just one of Carly’s minions. Josslyn takes out her phone to call the police. Nelle can’t believe Josslyn would do that to her after everything they’ve been to each other. They’re bonded; sisters. Josslyn calls Nelle a lying piece of trash. Nelle says Josslyn is selfish and spoiled. She’s just like her mother. Josslyn says, damn right. You messed with wrong family, bitch.

Curtis takes Stella to Kelly’s. It’s to thank her for being chill about the engagement. He’s surprised she’s not dropping hints for a kid, and she tells him not to get ahead until the vows are spoken. He says when an engagement is announced, folks come out of the woodwork. He’s hearing from all kinds of people. He got a text from his ex, Shondra. Stella says she’s sharp, gracious, and not proud; a real catch. Curtis says to tells him how she really feels. She wonders why they couldn’t make it work, and he says Shondra dumped him. The relationship was all about her, not him. He never heard from her again – until the text. He wonders what would make her reach out. Stella says he means who? He’s looking at her.

Robert promises not to leave Finn or Anna hanging. Finn asks how the surveillance works. Robert says he’ll inject Finn with a microchip that will emit a beacon. He’ll be able to hone in on Finn’s location. Finn says, that’s what people do with dogs, and Robert says, exactly. Finn just needs to allow himself to be abducted. Finn tells him not to be late, and Robert says he has a small loose end to take care of first.

Lulu tells Peter that she’s disappointed. She thought this would be more satisfying. Peter says, welcome to his world. He and Obrecht learned the same hard lesson; now it’s her turn. Revenge is empty and meaningless. It doesn’t lessen the hurt, heal the wound, or bring back the dead. It only brings more pain. She tells him that Obrecht escaped; she overpowered the driver. She talks about the fire, and says Maxie showed him mercy; she did the rescue breathing, while Finn did chest compression. Peter says it’s a compelling detail. It’s one of the things that makes her a good writer. If he was still at Aurora, he wouldn’t let her go. She says, coming from him, that’s worth nothing.

Maxie tells Nina it’s good to be appreciated, and she misses Crimson. Nina says if Maxie had been there, she wouldn’t have let things slide to the point Valentin bought loads of ads. Although there’s been a ton of reader response, wondering who the repentant husband is, and will she take him back, which is a no. Maxie says her mom has volunteered for daycare, all day every day, so she can start right away. Lulu texts that she wants to see them, and they wonder what it’s about.

Chase thanks Michael has had enough loss. He doesn’t need to add this job. Michael thinks they should both be out looking. No one knows Nelle better than them. Chase says part of him was hoping he’d be wrong, and she’s come to her senses. Then he’d feel less crazy for seeing the good in her at one time. Michael says he tried to see the good, and she exploited that over and over. It’s time for her to face the consequences.

Nelle says Josslyn wouldn’t be alive without her sacrifice. Josslyn owes her. Josslyn says the only thing she owes Nell is to call the cops. Nelle grabs the phone, and throws it. When Josslyn walks to get it, Nelle pushes her from behind. She says after everything she’s done. She saved Josslyn’s life. She calls Josslyn a little brat, and throws her down. Nelle walks away, and Josslyn gets to her feet. She goes after Nelle, and punches her. Nelle goes down.

Finn and Robert exchange glances. A dude watches as Finn gets in the elevator, then gets in with him at the last second.

Lulu thanks Nina and Maxie for meeting her. She just came from seeing Peter. Nina says she and Maxie have decided they’re leaving him behind them. Lulu would like to do same, and tells them to check their emails. There’s one from her addy at The Press. It’s the conclusion to her series on Faison, Henrik, and Nathan. She wants their approval before she gives it to her editor.

Robert tells Peter, time to hit road. Peter feels like they just went through this the other day, and Robert says, time is a great healer. The doctors say he’s fit to travel, and the WSB wants a word with him. It could be a decade or two before the discussion is finished.

Stella tells Curtis that she reached out to say hello. He says, interesting timing. She says he makes it sound like she had an ulterior motive; she’s not meddling. He says if he’d known she retired from that job, he would have thrown a party. She says she realized her intent might have been misconstrued, so she called back and left a message assuring Shonda that he was happy. He says, hence the congratulations text. Stella says Shonda is a gracious woman. Did he at least thank her?

Brad tells Lucas that Jordan wants to talk to him about Nelle. Lucas thins he’s holding back. Why would Jordan want to talk to him? Brad says they were friends before he found out what she did. Maybe Jordan thinks he might have some insight into Nelle’s life. It’s not like she has a lot of friends. He gets agitated, and Lucas tells him to calm down. Brad says he just wants to be home with Wiley before he’s taken away.

Nelle and Josslyn fight. Nelle is doing beautifully for someone who just went through a car crash, gave birth in the woods, and was just released from the hospital. Nelle kicks Josslyn, and tells her to stay down.

Chase tells Michael that he got wasted last night, thinking if he kept drinking he could answer the questions in his mind, or at least drown them out. Michael asks if it helped, and Chase says, not at all. Lulu was there to cut him off and give him a ride. He woke up on her couch with a brutal hangover. He was convinced they were doing the right thing, but keeps coming back to the same question. What if there was another way? And if they’d gone with it, would the baby still be alive?

Josslyn grabs Nelle, and slams her against a metal gate. She says Nelle will never hurt her family again. Jordan appears, and says, enough. Josslyn says Nelle tried to get away, and she stopped her. Jordan says she sees that.

Brad tells Lucas maybe he’s not cut out to be a father. Lucas asks if this is because he put a onesie on upside down. He says it’s day two, and they can spend the next twenty-eight scared, or enjoy Wiley being theirs, and believing he will be. He knows what choice he’s making. He says he’ll go with Brad to the station. Brad says he’s not taking the baby, but Lucas says he should get used to it. He’ll be bailing out a family member somewhere down the line.

Michael says Chase can’t blame himself. There were so many red flags, and he ignored them. He convinced himself that what everyone else said about Nelle was wrong. Josslyn walks in, looking beat up. Michael asks if she was in a fight. Jordan says she helped apprehend a dangerous fugitive. He asks who, and Nelle is brought in.

Lulu tells Maxie and Nina that she didn’t want to send the article to her editor with their approval. Nina says Lulu could have said more about her involvement, and Maxie says only about her rescuing Peter. Lulu thought they would criticize her for not going harder on Peter, but Maxie says, he’s not a monster like Faison. He’s done bad things, but he’s still a person. She humanized him. Maxie and Nina agree that Lulu did a great job.

Peter tells Robert that he has nothing of interest to say. Robert says, Jason would disagree. Peter says he saved Jason. All he ever did was care about the truth. Robert is sure there’s more to the story. The Bureau will extract it in their own way. Peter asks where Anna is, and Robert says she’s dealing with other things, and can’t save his sorry ass. He’ll have to do it himself.

Finn is brought into a windowless room by the guy from the elevator. He has a burlap sack over his head. The thug’s boss asks if Finn gave him any trouble, but he says nothing he couldn’t handle. The sack is removed, and Finn asks who they are. The thug punches him in the stomach, and he’s told, no questions.

Jordan says they found Nelle on the pier; Josslyn had her on the ropes. Nelle is under arrest, and she says Josslyn is just as psycho as her mother. She claims everything is hazy, but Chase says she managed to steal some scrubs, and dodge security. She says that by stalking her, he’s laid the perfect groundwork for entrapment, and she can’t wait for court. He says, not this time; he did everything by the book. Jordan is sure she’ll be offered a deal, and hopes she doesn’t take it. The victims deserve their day in court. Chase looks at Zack’s case folder.

Michael says Josslyn has injuries, but she says it was worth it. She’s sorry about the baby. He is too, and she says it’s Nelle’s fault. He says it just happened; no one is to blame. He says they named him Jonah; it means peace, and he’s at peace. Josslyn thinks they should get out of there, take out the speedboat, and get away. Michael says it sounds nice, but he has to take care of something first. They hug, and he says he’s proud of her. She says she had to do something, and he says he knows the feeling.

Lulu appreciates the endorsement, and tells Nina and Maxie the story will run tomorrow. Nina says she’s looking forward to the story coming to an end.

Peter tells Robert that locking him up is counter-productive. He’d prove more useful to the Bureau if the charges were dropped. He has information about the others. The ones who came before Jason. Patients One, Two, Three, Four, and Five.

Finn would love to say they have the wrong guy, but they went through all that trouble to get him here. The boss man tells him to just be the good doctor and take care of their very special patient.

Curtis tells Stella that he did send a thumbs-up emoji. She says, how noble. He suggests they talk about something happier. What role does she want to play in the wedding? She says she called off Shonda. Don’t push it.

Jordan reads Nelle her rights. Nelle can’t believe she’s doing this now. Jordan says she has a lot of questions, and wants to make sure Nelle knows her rights. She says the baby she was carrying is dead because of the department. She wipes her hands all over Jordan, and says there’s blood on Jordan’s hands. Chase and Michael too.

Brad and Lucas walk in with Wiley. Michael stares at the baby.

On Monday, Drew needs to set the record straight with Margaux, Carly says it will take time she doesn’t have, and Michael asks to hold Wiley.

General Hospital

Carly tells Jason that between Josslyn coming and knowing Michael is safe, she can breathe again. Jason says he got a text from the hospital, and Nelle is there; Michael is there too. Carly says it’s a beautiful morning, and Jason says, especially if you haven’t seen the sky in weeks. She says if Jason hadn’t gotten her out, they would have given her the ECT, and she doesn’t know if she’d recognize the sky again, much less herself. Jason says it’s over. No matter what else happens, she’s never going back to Ferncliff.

Sam and Curtis tell Mary Pat that they’re from the United Mental Health Institute in Washington DC. Curtis says they’ve come to discuss Caroline Corinthos’s escape.

Ava is at the docks, and starts to take the baby blanket out of her bag. Does she carry it everywhere? She flashes back to telling Nelle that she has it. She takes out a lighter, but Griff, who’s out for a run, comes by. He asks what she’s doing.

Chase is sleeping on Lulu’s couch. Rocco pokes at him, and wakes him up. He asks if Chase wants pancakes. Lulu says she told Rocco not to wake him, but Rocco thought might be hungry. Lulu asks if he doesn’t feel good, and Chase says, not at the moment.

Sonny tells Michael he doesn’t deserve this, and can always lean on him. Sonny promises he’s going to get through it. Michael thanks him, and Sonny asks if he’s ready to go. He says, not yet. He still needs answers.

Kim tells Nelle that she’s sorry about the baby. She’s doing remarkably well considering what she’s been through. Nelle asks if she’s going to be released, and Kim says physically, she’s fine. She has no reason to keep her. Nelle says as soon as she’s released, she’ll be sent off to jail.

Carly tells Jason about eating pizza with Josslyn. There was pleasure in eating real food, but her favorite part was talking and laughing with her daughter. She hates Nelle for a million reasons, but mostly for manipulating Josslyn. She’s blaming herself. Josslyn comes downstairs. She was afraid Carly left. Carly hugs her, and says she’d never leave without saying goodbye. Josslyn asks if she can come with them for a while. Carly would love that, but she and Josslyn’s father have an amicable custody agreement. If she took Josslyn on the run, it won’t be amicable anymore. Jason says, maybe there’s another way.

Mary Pat tells Curtis they’re taking the matter seriously. Curtis notes that Carly was in the maximum-security wing, and Mary Pat says she was extremely violent. Sam asks how she escaped, and Mary Pat says she was taken at gunpoint by a man who worked there under an assumed name. He was probably scoping out the security system. They’re reevaluating their vetting process. Sam asks how Carly was being handled, and Mary Pat tells her they were extremely professional. If she finds it was otherwise, a grievance will be filed. Curtis says Ferncliff is being shortlisted for an Innovative Program award. Sam says, congratulations.

Kim tells Nelle that she can’t keep her. What happened hasn’t affected her judgement of Nelle, but she’s recovered. Nelle says she hasn’t; her baby is dead. Kim is sorry for her loss. She’s going to find Michael so they can discuss some things.

Michael tells Sonny that he needs to see Kim. He asks if Sonny has seen Carly, and Sonny says Jason has her in a safe house. Michael asks if she knows about the baby, but he says, not yet. Michael says it would help a lot if Sonny told her and Josslyn. He’ll figure out how to tell the rest. Sonny tells him to deal with the doctor, and he’ll talk to Carly. Max is outside if Michael needs him. They hug.

Ava tells Griff that she needed to take walk. He’s surprised she came to the docks alone. She says she was thinking about Nelle. Her loss was extreme. Griff says it’s not the safest place at the docks, and Ava says she can take care of herself. He asks if she’s all right; she seems defensive. Ava says she’s sensitive when comes to Nelle these days. She remembers how Griff looked at her at the wedding when Carly came busting in saying Nelle sabotaged her, and must have had help. Griff says Carly looked at her, and for a moment, he did wonder, knowing how Ava feels about Carly. Ava says she did help Nelle.

Kim tells Nelle and Michael that she wanted them both to hear the results of the coroner’s report. The baby’s death is considered unexplained. Michael says there has to be a reason, but Kim says everything was fine at the last checkup. There were no predictors. She knows it’s little comfort, but it happens to 1200 babies a year. Michael says, for no reason? and Kim says there are any number of reasons. Nelle wonders if one could be an especially terrible car accident. She says, the crash killed the baby.

Josslyn asks how long they can stay there without getting caught, and Jason says there’s no way to know. Carly says they can’t stay; it’s too risky. Josslyn says it’s unfair. They know Nelle is a psycho; why can’t she just admit she lied about Carly pushing her? Carly says because they were fighting over a blanket. It was never found, and makes Nelle’s story more plausible. Josslyn says, no. It just means someone took the blanket.

Griff asks how Ava helped Nelle. Ava says she befriended Nelle. She was a pariah, and Ava could relate. She offered Nelle a job, but if she’s honest, she knew it would make Carly and Sonny angry. Griff says she was just helping someone who needed help. She says she commiserated with Nelle, and maybe it egged her on, and started her down a dangerous path. Griff asks if she helped her.

Lulu gives Chase ginger ale. He tells her that he’s sorry. He doesn’t remember anything after she offered him a ride. She says she gave him a ride home, but he couldn’t find his keys; he should call The Floating Rib later. He says he’s not much of a drinker, and she says last night was a special circumstance. He says, last night was a disaster. He met Nelle after her fiancé drowned under suspicious circumstances. Before he knew she was a murderer, he slept with her, trashed his career, and tanked the care. He was more careful this time. He planned it step by step, but didn’t plan on the baby dying.

Kim says the baby wasn’t injured from the crash, and the injuries Nelle sustained didn’t adversely affect the baby. Nelle doesn’t believe it, and thinks she’s just trying to make Michael feel better. It’s his fault. He was driving. Kim says nothing either of them did caused it. The baby was healthy during the last exam; thriving. The death certificate has been prepared, but the name was left blank. She’ll give them some time to decide if they want to keep it that way, or give the baby a name. She says she’s sorry for their loss, and leaves. Nelle guesses it doesn’t matter why the baby died. He’s gone, and there’s nothing they can do to bring him back. She wipes away tears, and Michael gives a side-eye.

Josslyn can’t believe Nelle knitted a blanket to look like Morgan’s. Carly says it wasn’t just any blanket; it was the blanket. She had to pry it out of his hands to wash it. It practically disintegrated, but she still has it. She has something from all of them, put away in a box in the attic, unless that bitch got her hands on it; then she’d have no memories. Josslyn says it’s her fault. She’s the one who believed and sided with Nelle over and over. Jason says Josslyn thought owed her because of the kidney transplant. She was paying a debt, and it’s honorable. It’s how she was raised. She wanted to give Nelle the benefit of the doubt. She believed in Nelle. Josslyn says over her own mom; she’s an idiot, and disloyal daughter. Jason says there will always be people who lie. It’s a life lesson; people have agendas and are after what they want. She can let them run her life and lead her where they want to go, or she can run her own life, and trust her own judgment; make her own decisions. If anything goes wrong, she’ll know why, because she’s the one who made the call. Carly says it’s hard trusting yourself, but better than lying to everyone else about what’s wrong in your life. That’s what Nelle did, and look where it got her. Josslyn can’t wait for the baby to come. Then they’ll never have to think about Nelle again.

Mary Pat says the Innovative Program award is the highest citation. Sam says, indeed it is. It’s the first Mary Pat has learned they were being considered, and Curtis says that’s by design. Advance notice gives an edge, and the facility can make enhancements before the decision is made. Pop-ins are customary. Sam says they want to make sure candidates adhere to the highest standards in patient care. They’re concerned about the escape. Mary Pat says there were extraordinary circumstances. Sam tells her they need to make extra sure the patient’s file is in order, and the highest standard of protocol was practiced. Mary Pat understands.

Ava tells Griff that Nelle had hoped the baby would bring her and Michael closer, but she had a sense Nelle was planning something. She didn’t want anything to do with it. Griff says, good thing she stayed out of it. She says in retrospect, the way Nelle was handling her problems with Carly was unsettling. She knows Carly can take care of herself, but it bothered her how Nelle reminded her of herself.

Michael asks Nelle if Jonah is still acceptable. She says it isn’t a contract; they’re talking about their child. He says, yes or no, and she says yes. She agreed when she thought they’d be happy together. He asks if that was before or after she used his brother’s memory to gaslight his mom; before or after she arranged to have him killed so she could take his money. She says, all I wanted is for us – and he says, there is no us. Their child is dead. It’s over. There’s nothing left. Nelle says she’s not lying down and letting him steamroll over if. She’ll contest a divorce. He says it won’t come to that. She says he can’t leave her with nothing; she’s still his wife. He say she’s not still his wife. She never was.

Sonny comes back to the safe house. Carly tells Josslyn to go into the kitchen, but Sonny says she needs to hear this. Michael’s baby died. Josslyn says it must be a mistake, and Carly asks, how? Sonny tells them that Nelle left Michael in the car after the crash. She seemed fine, but had the baby in the woods. Carly says, all alone. Sonny says Nelle told Michael that the baby wasn’t breathing. Josslyn says Nelle did it on purpose to hurt them even more. Carly says they’re not making this about Nelle. They loved the baby, and always will. Jason asks how Michael is, and Sonny says, strong and handing things, but he has a broken heart.

Chase thanks Lulu for talking him down. Lulu asks if he’s going to work, and if he’s sure he’s okay. He says Nelle will be ready to be transferred. She asks what’s next, and he say they have her full confession on tape. If everything goes as planned, her confession about Zack will send her to prison. Lulu asks, what about Carly? and he says, it’s not that easy. Nelle admitted to gaslighting her, but they need more proof, like the blanket resurfacing. He says there’s a baby to bury, and he has to remind himself that Nelle decide to rig the car. Lulu says, what if she had hired a real hit man? She wonders if Carly was right, and someone helped Nelle. Chase intends to find out.

Ava tells Griff, maybe Nelle thought of her as a role model. Nelle said she thought of her as a friend. Gruff says, then Nelle should have seen how hard she worked to overcome her past. Ava says she regrets her mistakes, and is moving on as a person. She wishes she had influenced Nelle. Griff says Nelle has no conscience, and a conscience defines the soul. All humans make bad choices. When you feel regret, and resolve to make it better and make amends, that’s your conscience speaking. Ava asks what would he know? Griff says he’s made mistakes. It’s figuring out what do afterward that makes the difference.

Nelle says she and Michael got married. The mayor officiated. He says they had a ceremony. She says she just lost a baby, and he says so did he. She suggests maybe they can heal together. She knows she messed up. She starts to cry, saying sometimes she gets crazy thoughts. She knows she can get help, but things get away from her, and she doesn’t know what’s going on. Like when she was little, and everything was taken away from her. Michael says maybe she’s mentally ill or a sociopath; he doesn’t care. Nelle asks how he can be so cold, and he says he took a page from her book; he’s following her lead. When it came time to sign the marriage certificate, Jason gave Ned a pen with the kind of ink that was on the flyer. He says Nelle left it on Carly’s car, went to Morgan’s grave sprayed his cologne on it. It was sadistic; working to make Carly think she was unhinged. The flyer turned out to be blank – like their marriage certificate. Nelle tells Michael that he said he loved her. He says it was a lie, a set-up. The prenup, the will, all of it. He starts to leave and says, by the way, he has a will. It’s filed in Diane’s office. Even if she’d managed to kill him, she wouldn’t have gotten a dime. She says he tricked her. He says he was protecting himself and his family. Too little too late, but at least it’s done. He walks out.

Sonny says Michael is still at the hospital. He wanted Sonny to tell her. Carly says he can’t be alone. Jason says no matter how strong Michael seems, this is the worst loss, and he needs somebody close there. Josslyn says she’ll go. She’s not under a police monitor. Jason says, not likely. Carly says she loves Josslyn so much, and Josslyn says she loves Carly so much too.

Ava wonders if Griff is thinking about the DNA test he took without permission; it’s not in the same realm. Griff says, a wrong is a wrong; degrees don’t matter. You can’t erase a mistake, but you can take responsibility for it and make up for the hurt you caused. Ava says it’s not always so straightforward. He says she can’t hold herself responsible for Nelle’s actions; Ava is nothing like her. Ava wonders how he can still believe in her. Griff says he’s seen her try to be better. Unlike Nelle, she has a conscience and soul, and wants to do good. He wishes she’d believe in herself. She says she’ll try. Now from the profound to the mundane. Does he want to come over for breakfast? Griff has to go to work, and Ava says she’s spending a few more minutes there, and going home. She thanks him for showing up at the right place at the right time, and saying the right things. He’s right. They’re just people. They make mistakes, but it’s what they do afterward that matters. They kiss, and Griff jogs off. Ava gets her bag, and calls Julian. She needs a favor. Nothing illegal. Quite the opposite.

Curtis says they’ve given a lot of thought to the layout of the dayroom. Mary Pat says it facilitates patient movement, while still allowing the staff to monitor them. She says many require close supervision. Curtis says the patients seem to benefit from interacting with one another, but she says it has to be limited. Some of them are sociopaths who will manipulate the other patients. Sam says everything is in order. She doesn’t think there will be pushback from the selection committee. Curtis hopes he’s there with congratulations the next time. Mary Pat says, from his lips. Outside, Curtis asks what San got, and she says, the consent form. She hopes that’s what Jason is looking for.

Carly tells Sonny that she can’t be there to comfort Michael, because she’s on the run to Canada. Sonny says, maybe not. He didn’t want to give her hope, but he’s working on something. He says the DA is going to cave soon. Nelle is a psychopath and a murderer. He thinks the DA will want to distance herself. Carly hopes so. Michael walks in. He asks where Josslyn is, and Carly says she left to be with him in the hospital. She has a lot to process. Michael feels guilty for her believing Nelle. Carly says he’s grieving a loss; they all are. Michael asks if it will get better. Carly says they’ll make it right somehow.

Chase gets to Nelle’s room, but finds it empty. He asks the guard where she is, and he says he only stepped away for a minute. Damn. A minute is all it takes, dude.

Jason asks Sam if there were any problems. She says Mary Pat didn’t suspect anything. She gives him the consent form. It’s signed, but Jason says it’s not Carly’s signature. If it’s not forged, she was drugged out of her mind. Sam wonders if it’s enough to get the DA to back off, but Jason isn’t sure. He thanks her, and she tells him to be careful. She’d rather he go to Canada than be visiting him in prison. He’s sorry for worrying her, but not for breaking Carly out. He’d do it again in a heartbeat. She says she’s always admired that about him.

Michael tells Sonny and Carly that they picked out a name for the birth – death certificate. Jonah. Sonny says it’s a symbol of peace. He was loved, and now he’s at peace.

Nelle heads down to the docks. Josslyn steps out, and asks where she thinks she’s going.

Tomorrow, Maxie says there’s something Nina isn’t telling her, Chase puts out an APB on Nelle, and Josslyn tells Nelle you messed with the wrong family, bitch.

The Shahs of Sunset

GG stands in the snow with a guy we don’t know. He wants to take her out. She says she’s married. He tells her a friendly dinner won’t kill anybody, and he wants to kiss her.

Two days earlier. Everyone packs for a ski trip. Adam asks Reza why they’re going to Big Bear if there’s no snow, and Reza thinks they have man-made snow. In his interview, Reza tells us that they bought a house, and he’s fronting the money for the renovation and upgrades. His husband wants a kid, and stressing between the house and baby pressure, he’s stretched thin. Adam is staying home to watch the furkids. Reza knows it’s selfish, but between vacation and baby pressure, he’s going.

Driver Vin picks everyone up, and champagne is popped – a 2002 Dom. Reza toasts to not breaking a limb and having a great ski trip. In his interview, Reza says growing up, his family went to Big Bear every year. He wants to continue the tradition of drinking, eating, and piling in the car with his nutty ass newfangled family. They talk about Asa being absent, and GG says people grow apart. In her interview, MJ says something is missing; maybe there’s less hate-oration in the air. We see clips of Asa from other seasons. MJ says after Asa drifted away, she and Reza are closer and there are no issues. She wonders why.

Mike met a girl named Mona, and says they’re friends – for now. We see a clip of them out to dinner. In his interview, Mike says she’s different than the girls he’s typically attracted to. She has a degree and is a vegan. He tells the others that she’s a dope chick, but never gives him compliments. Destiney says he’s used to having his ego stroked, and he says he has no ego. Everyone laughs hysterically. He says he’s met her brothers, and invited them out to hang out.

The group arrives at Big Bear. Shervin has to work, but is coming the next day. Private chef Desiree introduces herself. In his interview, Reza says he couldn’t find a five-star hotel, so he rented a cabin. Got a private chef, and made it five-star-ish. They all choose rooms, and it’s a lot less stressful than when the OC Housewives do. GG claims her territory by rolling on everything. Mike is hoping for some chemistry with Mona.

Oh man, the food. Destiney asks what’s up with GG and Shalom. GG says they just have to sign the papers, and Destiney says she has one under her belt. In her interview, GG says after they eloped, she saw frightening signs, and ended things immediately. Even though the marriage didn’t last, diamonds are forever. She tells Destiney that she tried. The second time around, it was amazing in the beginning. Then – she snaps her fingers – just like that. It’s not what she was looking for. Destiney says she needs a healthy relationship; it’s completely different. In her interview, Destiney sees through the bullsh*t. GG just wants to be loved, but puts up walls. She gets it because she’s that chick.

MJ calls Tommy. In her interview, she says we’re cordially invited to their marriage. It’s less than three months from now, so better find a dress, since it’s black tie. Her dad is still in the hospital, but she realizes she has to think about her future, so they’re planning the wedding. Dinner is served.

Reza toasts to his beautiful friends, who he loves so much. Mike asks if everyone is happy where they are. MJ thanks God for what she’s got. Mike isn’t content. After his marriage ended, he was partying and spreading his seed (who says that?), but he’s not a hunting tiger anymore. He’s done partying, and wants to have a family. They agree everyone has grown. Omg, the food.

Reza suggests they call it a night. Reza and MJ are sharing a room. She says Tommy trusts them. In his interview, Reza says not a lot of people are aware that he and MJ had sex. It was a onetime thing. MJ says that’s bullsh*t, but then says okay, they did. They were children, and he was just coming out of the closet. GG says the worst-case scenario is that she’ll have to share a bed with Shervin. Reza says if Shalom finds out, he’ll lose his effing mind. In her interview, GG thinks that was a low blow, but I’m not sure why.

In the morning, Reza tells everyone to rise and shine; he’s making a spread. The Shahs trickle into the kitchen. Destiney loves waking up to the food. Good. I’m not the only one obsessed with the food. GG says she has no sexual desire, and doesn’t know if it’s her libido or she got turned off by Shalom. MJ thinks GG still has an attachment to him, and she’s having emotional changes; she has to be tough. In her interview, GG says she’s never been in love, but Shalom was the closest to it, and it backfired. She starts to cry, and hides in the pantry, but MJ follows her. GG says she’s embarrassed, then wonders why there’s Jim Beam in the pantry. MJ suggests someone knew she’d be going in there to cry. She tells GG that she’s cutting herself off from her emotions.

Mona and her brother Nema arrive. Mike tells the others to make them feel welcome and be nice. Good luck with that. In their interview, Nema say he’s getting a front row seat to the love saga, and it’s super awkward. He doesn’t like seeing the flirtation. Mona says she almost got married a few years ago, and Mike says he had to suffer through many brunches with that idiot. Nema asks if GG is married. In his interview, Reza says he’s not the type to play Cupid, but if it can alter GG’s mood and get a guy some nookie (he says something in Farsi that sounds like humani), it’s a win-win. They decide to get geared up and head out.

Mona flirts with Mike. GG says she doesn’t respect snowboarders, and Nema says skiers are elitist. Reza tells Mike that Nema is feeling GG. When she’s out of earshot, Reza tells Nema that GG will skewer him, cook him up, and serve him to the peasants. Rema says he was picking up on that. Mona asks if he’s forgetting about his girlfriend, and he says he has a girl he’s dating. We see a picture of him and said girl, Erica. In his interview, Nema says it’s not perfect, but she was there as a friend when he went through a divorce. When he was ready to date, she was there and it seemed natural, but he never had the important time of being single. The bus comes to take them skiing.

Reza explains that the most important test to know your level of Persianality is the beshkan, or the Persian snap. Nema can’t do it, and Reza calls him a broke-ass Persian. Everyone tries, but most of them are broke-ass too. GG accidentally pokes herself in the eye. It’s done with the index fingers, but I can’t do it either. Destiney freaks a little about the chairlift, since she hasn’t skied since she was thirteen. She doesn’t want to be a p*ssy. Nema says, no way this ends well.

The skiing starts. Destiney falls. She talks to herself as she goes down the hill a second time. She knows she’ll fall, so why does she want to do this? She makes it, but then falls at the bottom of the hill. MJ is surprisingly good. Reza says everyone has their own style. MJ has a seductive method, and GG is angry, rigid, and straight up; plowing anything on her way down. He says it’s exactly like their personalities.

Mike flirts with Mona on the chairlift. In his interview, Mike thinks they’re attracted to one another. She did agree to come, and once she sees him snowboarding, it’s a done deal. It’s so funny how this dude thinks he’s all that.

They break for lunch. Alcohol and mass quantities of food are ordered. I think they order everything on the menu. Reza says GG was the best, and after her, MJ. Destiney says it was wonderful; she fell four times. They toast to friends. In his interview, Nema says the amount of food ordered was insane. It’s like he’s on National Geographic with Persians. Mona says Persians in LA tend to be cliquey because they grew up together, and if you don’t speak Farsi, it’s worse. In their interview, Mona and Nema talks about their weird upbringing. Their parents got divorced when they were still small, and they went to Iran to live with their grandparents while the divorce was going on. When they came back, they were told they could decide which parent to live with. Mona instinctively went to live with their mother in New York because she hadn’t seen her in so long. Their parents took that as her choosing her mother, and Nema saw a part of his father’s soul die, and went to live with him in LA. After college Mona moved to LA. MJ says, with all due respect, that’s effed up, having to choose. Thank God they’re reunited now. Reza has a fun night planned. GG, Mike, Mona, and Nema are going out, and the rest will stay home and enjoy each other’s company. In his interview, Mike wonders why Reza is sending Mona’s brother to c*ck block him.

Shervin arrives. Mona and GG get ready. Everyone has a shotski. Reza checks out Mike, and tries to stop him from wearing a hat, but it’s too late. Shervin thinks the date will be awkward, since Mike is close to Shalom, but tells GG, have fun; who cares? Nema says if Mona and Mike date, he’s going to ride Mike’s ass. Destiney says they’re like Angelina Jolie and her brother. If Mona gets an award, he’ll be there trying to stick his tongue in her mouth. Then she says she didn’t say that. Reza says their chariot awaits. Shervin tells them use a condom.

At the restaurant, GG says let’s get fat. Or did she mean phat? Nema asks about GG going through a divorce. She says from now on, she wants a contract with every relationship. She say she wants a kid with no emotions attached. Nema thinks that sounds great. In her interview, GG wants to be pregnant by this time next year. Nema asks what she wants, and GG says she wants sperm. He says he would do that. In her interview, GG says she’s looking for healthy and wealthy. He’s healthy, even if a little skinny, and drives a Lexus. Nema asks why Mike is winking at him, and Mike tells him not to worry; Nema isn’t his type

Destiney and MJ sit outside. MJ says she and Destiney suffer from same thing; feelings scare sh*t out of them. Destiney says she’s not lonely, but MJ says she has to breakdown the wall for a meaningful connection. Destiney says she was raised to buck up. She says she just has a mother, and she’s lost a lot of lovers because she kept her feelings and emotions hidden. She has lots of regrets. Some of them begged for her to hold their hand in public, or say I love you, and she couldn’t. MJ says Destiney is a bad ass bitch. She wants to get together a good profile for her on Tinder. Destiney is down with that.

Mona asks GG, after she has kids, what’s her ideal living situation; staying in LA or traveling? GG says, yes. Mona says she wants her kids to summer in Europe. She wants them to be cultured, and also homeschooled. Mike says she needs to find a gazillionaire if she wants her kids spending the summer in Europe. In his interview, Mike says he used to overlook it if a girl didn’t have the same philosophies as he does, thinking eventually they’d see eye to eye. Now, he’s not willing to go down the aisle with someone who doesn’t share his thoughts and values. He tells Mona that she’ll find a guy to give her everything she wants, because she’s stunning. Mona doesn’t know what to say, and GG goes, pfft!

MJ tells Reza that she loves her relationship with Adam now, and thinks he and Tommy should get together more often. She wants Reza to be her man of honor, and he gets very excited about giving a toast at the rehearsal dinner. He wants to do a photo montage as well.

The food comes. Mike says that GG and Nema share the same philosophy, but GG says she thinks Nema’s girlfriend doesn’t. Mike says, technically, Nema doesn’t have a girlfriend, but Nema admits he does. Mike asks why Nema is flirting with his friend, and Nema says, because she’s beautiful. GG says Nema is gangster, and gives him some of her steak, saying she doesn’t share food. Nema says it’s like second base. They toast to Reza.

They return to the cabin. Nema says he and GG have similar minds. GG thinks Mona is a potential match with Mike, but she wants someone genuine, yet extremely wealthy. Mike says they’re in sync on some philosophies, but not others. Mona says he hates her now, but he says he’s disappointed, and pouts. Mona can’t understand why he thinks someone with money is a bad guy, and someone with no money is a good guy. She asks how that’s worked out for him so far, and he asks how it’s worked out for her? Reza says Mike can’t put her in a box because she doesn’t make sense to him. In his interview, Reza says Mike judges value based on his desirability. When a woman isn’t willing to drop to her knees within twelve minutes, it hurts his ego. Mike thinks he and Mona will be great friends, since the viewpoints they do share are important.

Nema says GG is hot as hell, and his type. He wants to make out with her. In his interview, he says it’s rare when a girl causes him to throw rational thought out the door. His ex-wife was the first, and GG is the second. He asks GG to walk with him outside. He wants to be away from the eyes of the peanut gallery. He tells GG that he wants to ask her out. She wonders if his girlfriend is good with that, and she’s married. He says a friendly dinner never killed anyone. She says, no, but it could get her in some sh*t, and what if turns into more? He wants to kiss her, but that’s a no. She agrees to dinner. He just wants a little kiss, but she’s not ready. She says dinner first. In her interview, she says she doesn’t typically go for a guy like Nema, but he’s been sweet so far, so she’s giving him the benefit of the doubt, and going to let him know her little by little.

Next time, Destiney gets a Tinder profile, GG brings up Reza’s hook-up with MJ, and Vida says liking Tommy and thinking he’s suitable for marriage are two different issues.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

Hopefully there are no major editing gaffs. I was very distracted by reruns of Whose Line Is It Anyway? on the UP channel. I forgot how hilariously funny that show was. And how much I love Wayne Brady.

General Hospital

Carly tells Sonny that she keeps imagining Michael trapped in the car with the gas tank leaking. Thank God Sonny got him out. Sonny says he’s fine, and there’s no permanent damage. Carly says Nelle must be disappointed. Jason says Michael is safe, and they need to think about leaving.

At the hospital, Sam asks Elizabeth if she can see Peter, but visiting hours are over. Elizabeth is surprised she’s not at Lucas’s place. Sam wonders why she’d be there, and Elizabeth asks if he didn’t call her. Sam realizes the baby must have arrived, and jets.

Lucas says, Wiley Cooper Jones. He’s finally here. After all the screenings, interviews, waiting, and praying, he shows up when Lucas is in the middle of surgery. He’s going to keep them on their toes. Lucas wonders how Brad did everything by himself. Brad says he managed, but Lucas is here now, and they’re together. Lucas says, they have a son. Brad says, they sure do, and he’s perfect.

Michael asks Nelle how it happened. She says she was suddenly on the side of the road. Maybe she was thrown from the car. He says she wasn’t. They talked, and she left him behind. Nelle says she doesn’t remember; maybe she was in shock. She felt the baby coming, and wanted to get help. She tried to fight the contractions as long as she could, but they kept coming. She gave birth alone, in the darkness, and realized the baby wasn’t crying.

At The Floating Rib, Lulu sees Chase at the bar. She says it’s been a while. He hasn’t taken her up on the offer of dinner yet. Even though Dante is away, Chase is still his partner. Chase says they should do that then.

Ava, Griff, and Kiki sit at one of the tables. Ava knows Kiki has a lot on her mind, and says David is going to get what’s coming to him – in court of course. Kiki says at the very least, she’ll give him one helluva fight. Ava tells her that they have to remind each other of what’s important; family and friends. Griff couldn’t agree more. Ava leaves to get another round. Griff says Kiki has been nursing her glass of wine all night. She says it’s not a good idea for her to drink too much. Her mom might figure out what they did.

Lulu tells Chase something is clearly wrong, and asks if he wants to talk. Chase guesses he can tell her. She’s family, and bound to find out. Michael and Nelle were in a terrible accident.

Carly tells Sonny that they’re going to Canada for three months. Jason says it could be more or less time. Sonny says if they get caught now, it’s all for nothing. Carly asks if they can wait a little longer, and Jason says he needs to take care of something. Sonny tells him to watch out; he’s a wanted man. After Jason leaves, Carly ask how Sonny is. He says was watching the footage from Michael’s car, and saw the crash. Then everything went to black. All he could think about was what if Michael died in the explosion. She says it didn’t happen. Michael is safe, and Nelle was stopped. He asks at what cost?

Lucas says Brad was right. He said Lucas would hold the baby in his arms, no matter what, and kept his promise. Brad says they wanted to be a family. Lucas asks where Brad went, and Brad tells him that Wiley was crying, and he heard a car ride calms babies down. Lucas says with newborns, it’s all about hearing the heartbeat. Brad says he can’t do without Lucas, and Lucas says he doesn’t have to. He may never put Wiley down again; he’s in love already. He says, not to jinx anything, but now they have to hope the birth mother doesn’t change her mind.

Nelle tells Michael that she tried everything to get the baby to start breathing, but nothing worked. The crash was too much. Michael says the first thing she told him was that she and the baby were fine. She says she was wrong. The crash killed him. Michael was too busy trying to get a confession, and didn’t pay attention to the road. He asks if she’s blaming him. She thought he’d be dead at the end of the night. Instead, their son is, because of her.

Sonny tells Carly that Nelle copped to killing Zack, rigging Michael’s car, and making her go crazy. Carly asks if Nelle admitted she didn’t push her. Sonny says Michael was trying to get her to admit it when the crash happened. She says at least Nelle’s credibility is nonexistent, and will cast serious doubt on her side of the story. He says Diane has a lot to work with. Carly asks if Diane came to see her at Ferncliff. Sonny says she got a court order for five minutes. She said Carly was in a straitjacket, and so heavily drugged, she barely remembered her name. Carly says it’s over now, and if she has to go to Canada, so be it. Sonny teases her about how she’ll like spending time with Jason. She says that was a long time ago. Now she wants him. They hug. Jason brings in Josslyn, who runs into Carly’s arms.

Lulu asks Chase what happened? He says there was a car crash; a van came out of nowhere. Michael got Nelle to confess to killing Zack and conspiring to kill Michael. He also got her to admit to gaslighting Carly. He tells Lulu that Michael is still alive. Ava joins them, saying she overheard. She tells Chase that Nelle works for her, and asks if she’s all right. Chase says she’s fine, but the baby didn’t survive.

Lucas shows Wiley to Sam, who holds him. Brad looks like a wreck. Lucas tells her that Brad said he has a great set of lungs, and Sam says the time for that goes by quick. Brad says that Lucas hasn’t eaten, and he’ll go out to get food.

Nelle asks how Michael can blame her; he was driving. It’s his fault. he hated her so much, he killed her baby. Elizabeth tells Michael that Nelle is in shock and grieving. Nelle says it’s his fault. He ruined everything. Elizabeth asks Nurse Courtney take Nelle to her room. She tells Michael that he can have all the time he needs to say goodbye.

Carly says she missed Josslyn so much. Josslyn says Jason said he’d bring her to Carly, and Carly thanks him. Sonny thinks they should give Carly and Josslyn some time alone. Jason tells Josslyn that she’s going to hear things that don’t make sense, but to listen; it’s the truth. They have proof. Sonny promises it will be okay, and he and Jason leave. Josslyn asks what happened with Michael, and Carly suggests they start with Ferncliff. Jason got her out. It was scary and fun. They kept running and didn’t look back. Josslyn wishes it had been sooner. No matter what happened with Nelle, Carly shouldn’t have been there. Carly says there are some things Josslyn needs to hear about Nelle.

Chase tells Ava the baby was stillborn. Ava goes back to the table. Chase tells Lulu it was his brilliant idea. It worked. Nelle took the bait, and asked him to help her kill Michael. She thought the car was rigged to crash, and when she wanted out, Michael refused to stop. She panicked and confessed. The crash was random; a van swerved into their lane, but them being there in the first place is on him. it’s his fault the baby died.

Kiki asks Ava if Michael and Nelle are okay. Ava says they’re at the hospital, so she’s going there. Griff says he’ll come too, but she doesn’t think they should overwhelm them. She tells Griff and Kiki to stay and enjoy themselves, and tells Griff to take care of Kiki. When she’s gone, Kiki says there’s something weird about her relationship with Nelle.

Elizabeth asks Michael to come with her. When he’s ready, she’ll take the baby. He says she’s not taking his son. Leave them alone. Brad watches.

Sam asks Lucas if everything is okay. It was a little weird the way Brad left. Lucas thinks it’s been a little overwhelming, getting everything they’ve wanted. Sam says they have more to lose, and tells him to relax. He might even learn to trust happiness. He says it’s not Wiley, but their marriage. It’s mostly been good, but they hit a rough patch last year. He didn’t like how upset Brad got when Finn gave away the cure for Blackwood Syndrome. His dreams of a big payday got the best of him. Since then, he’s stepped up, and reminded Lucas why he fell in love with him. It’s been amazing watching him grow.

Brad visits Nelle, and asks how she is. She says fine. They’re treating her pretty nicely. It pays to be a grieving mother. He says that’s not funny. She says, no it’s not, but it worked. For all anyone knows, she lost the baby, but she gave it to him. Brad says Michael is devastated, and she says, good. Now he knows how it feels. Brad doesn’t think he can keep it up. Lucas is already in love with the baby, and has no idea. She asks if he really thinks Lucas would forgive him. He’ll be arrested on the spot, and Lucas will lose his husband and son on the same night. Is that what Brad wants for him?

Ava sees Brad talking to Nelle. She moves to the side of the , so they can’t see her. I don’t know why any of this would be weird or clandestine, since Brad is Nelle’s friend and Ava is her boss.

Josslyn can’t believe Nelle wanted kill Michael. She tells Carly that she saw Nelle kissing Chase, and he didn’t seem to care. It makes sense now. Carly says Nelle will be going to prison for a long time. Michael has proof that she conspired to kill him, and she admitted she murdered Zack. Josslyn says she didn’t say what mattered – that Carly didn’t push her. Carly says she admitted to gaslighting her though. She wrote the note that led her to Morgan’s grave, and must have sprayed the cologne there. Josslyn says Nelle had a bottle of the cologne. Josslyn picked it up, and Nelle was weird about getting it back. Carly says Nelle had a lot to cover up. She’s not surprised Nelle lost track. Josslyn wonders why she didn’t believe Carly, but Carly tells her not to do this. Josslyn says when Carly needed her to believe the most, she didn’t stick up for her or say anything. Carly went to that awful place thinking Josslyn had turned her back. She’s so sorry. Carly tells her to stop, and hugs her. She doesn’t want Josslyn doing this. Nelle manipulated her and lied. Josslyn says she let her; she was stupid. Carly tells her not to blame herself. No one is to blame but Nelle.

Lucas asks if Sam is going to be a doting aunt, who will buy noisy toys that drive him crazy. I laugh, since my father and I used to find noisy toys for my niece to drive my sister crazy. Sam says she’s going to teach him to ride his first Harley. Lucas says he’s going to confiscate her leather jacket. Her phone rings. It’s Jason. He needs a favor, and she tells him, anything.

Griff tells Kiki there’s nothing weird. Nelle works at the gallery, and she and Ava are friends. She tells him, once more with feeling, and he says he wishes they weren’t close. Ava has a colorful past, but Nelle’s mistakes are in the present. Kiki wonders if he thinks Nelle brings out the worst in her mom, or it’s the other way around. He says he’s just projecting. He wants to believe Ava is hiding something, because he knows they’re hiding something from her.

Ava comes into Nelle’s room. She says she heard about the accident and the baby; she’s so sorry Nelle lost the baby. Nelle tells Brad that he needs to go home to his family, and thanks him for everything. He leaves, and Ava says she can’t imagine what Nelle is going through. Nelle says if she’s there to say, I told you so, just leave. Ava says she’s not here for that, and Nelle asks why she is. She made it clear they’re not friends. Ava must want to know if she gave her up as an accomplice. She can do that at any time, since there’s a cop right outside.

Sonny asks Elizabeth if Michael is okay. She says his injuries are superficial, and she’s sorry about the baby. Sonny is like, what?

Michael sits in the chapel holding the baby, and asks, why?

Sam meets Jason at the docks, and gives him an envelope. She asks if someone is watching his place, and he says, probably. He broke Carly out of Ferncliff, and they have to leave the country.

Josslyn asks if Carly can forgive her, and Carly says there’s nothing to forgive. Josslyn says her testimony put Carly behind bars, but Carly is proud she told the truth. She did what she had to even though it was hard. She doesn’t blame Josslyn; it’s not her fault. Nelle manipulated everyone. Josslyn says she took Nelle’s side, and guilted Carly into apologizing. Carly says no one makes her do anything she doesn’t want to. Josslyn says she should have known Carly didn’t push Nelle. She knew it wasn’t on purpose, but thought it was in the heat of the moment. It was easier to think Carly was losing it, than that Nelle was manipulating the family. She pushed Michael to get back together with Nelle. Carly says she wanted the baby to have two parents. Josslyn can’t believe Nelle is the mother of Michael’s baby. Carly says that’s a tough one. Josslyn asks what’s going to happen with the baby, and Carly tells her that he’ll probably be born behind bars. Nelle will never see him, and Michael will be a single parent. Josslyn says he won’t be alone. They’ll all help out. Carly says Josslyn is a wonderful aunt, and Josslyn says Carly is a wonderful grandma. Carly says, ugh; I am.

Sonny goes to the chapel. Michael asks if they want to take the baby. He just got there, and he’s not ready. He’d said if it came down to it, he would choose the baby. He would have given his life for the baby to live, and he failed him. Sonny says he didn’t cause the accident. Michael says he’s the one who set it up, and kept driving when Nelle asked him to stop. He’s the reason his son is dead.

Chase tells Lulu that an innocent bystander never died because of him. She says he can’t blame himself. Nelle murdered Zack, and wanted to murder Michael. She had to be stopped. No one wanted it to end this way, but no one wanted her to succeed either. He appreciates it. He says when saw Nelle walking on the side of the road, she didn’t even run. She just looked at him. She didn’t say the baby died; she didn’t have to. Somehow, he knew. That bundle was so still.

Kiki tells Griff that she’s got to go. Them being alone together makes her uncomfortable. He asks her to stay, since her mom said she’d be right back. It might seem weird if she just bolted. She says her mom can’t find out they slept together. Griff says it would break her heart. Kiki says after all this time, he doesn’t know her. She doesn’t get sad. She gets angry, and then she gets even. If she found out, she’d take them both down.

Ava asks if Nelle has been arrested. She says she was read her rights; no big thing. Since she was holding a dead baby, she doesn’t think she was completely responsible for her actions. Ava says, no handcuffs, and Nelle thinks it’s the PCPD’s idea of mercy. That could change at any time. Nelle suggests they settle it. Ava is wondering what she’s planning on telling the cops. Ava says, not that she was an accomplice. Nelle says she tampered with evidence, and that makes her an accomplice, but she’s not saying anything. She’s not giving them the satisfaction of saying Carly didn’t push her. She asks Ava to go. Ava tells Nelle that she’s really sorry about the baby, and leaves.

Sam asks how long Jason will be gone. He says maybe three months. Technically, Carly is a mental patient, so she won’t face charges. There’s no security footage, but there were eyewitnesses, and he had a gun. Sam thinks it will probably be more than three months. He says if it comes down to it, he’ll turn himself in. He’d rather be in prison than on the run. There’s too much for him in Port Charles. Sam thinks there must be something they can do. He says she was right about electroshock therapy being a voluntary procedure. A waiver has to be signed. Sonny didn’t sign anything, and Carly was too out of it to sign. Sam thinks they can go with that.

Josslyn and Carly have dinner. Josslyn says only her mom thinks frozen pizza is health food. Carly points out that it has protein, it’s easy to make, and it’s yummy. Josslyn says she missed Carly. Carly says when they’re done, she’ll have Max take Josslyn home. Sonny will keep her in the loop about her brother. Josslyn was hoping to spend the night there with Carly. Carly says she’d love that, and takes Josslyn’s’ hand.

Chase thanks Lulu for listening. He needs to call a car, but she says she’ll drive him home. He’s Dante’s partner, and that makes him family.

Ava comes back to The Floating Rib, and apologizes for running off. She tell them that Nelle lost the baby. Kiki leave to call Michael. Ava says she can’t imagine what Nelle is going through. Griff says it’s like Ava to stick by her.

Nelle tells the baby sweet drams in his happy home. Michael and his miserable family will never be able to find him, even though he’s right under their noses.

Brad tells Lucas the diner was closed. Lucas says, the all-night diner? and Brad says, weird, right? He thought of going somewhere else, but didn’t want to spend another moment away from Lucas and their son. Lucas says he’s really theirs. The baby smiles. Very cute. This one’s a keeper.

Sonny tells Michael that he can’t blame himself. Horrible things happen that they can’t control. Maybe it wasn’t meant to be. They don’t know the complications the baby might have had without the accident. Michael says he looks so perfect. Elizabeth comes in, and Michael asks if she’s there for his son. She says, only when he’s ready. He kisses the baby, says I love you, and gives him to Elizabeth. She leaves. Sonny hugs him, and Michael cries. Sonny has tears in his eyes, but stays strong for his son.

Tomorrow, someone wants to discuss Carly’s escape with Mary Pat, Lulu wonders if someone helped Nelle, and Jason promises Carly will never go back to Ferncliff.

The Real Housewives of New York City

At Casa Mattos, Bethenny never felt less relaxed. She feels like she’ been assaulted. Sonja asks if Bethenny and Carole are good. Bethenny says she talked to Carole, and it’s better than bad. Ramona says the worst part was the Dorinda and LuAnn thing. I have to mention the fabulous breakfast spread, since these trips are like food and water porn for me. LuAnn just wants coffee and to get to the island. It’s an hour and a half ride, which thrills no one. LuAnn feels sucker punched, and asks if Dorinda remembers what happened. Bethenny says she did last night, but she’s not sure about today. Carole says she didn’t want to feel lectured. LuAnn brings up Dorinda criticizing her for being The Countess. As far as I’m concerned, LuAnn will always be The Countess. LuAnn tells them to talk to Queen Latifah and Lady Gaga.

Dorinda joins the table, and LuAnn says they can all call her Lu, including Dorinda. Dorinda says after everything she’s done for LuAnn, and LuAnn asks what she’s done. Dorinda says she’ll do whatever she wants, and LuAnn says they saw that last night. In her interview, Sonja says something deeper is going on. LuAnn is reinventing herself, and Dorinda is spiraling. Dorinda insists LuAnn was lecturing her, and says she’s been there through everything. LuAnn thinks she doesn’t remember, and if she knew, she’d be mortified and apologize. Dorinda accuses LuAnn of being high on her horse this morning. Wow. Remove one word and that sentence takes on a whole new meaning. Dorinda tells LuAnn not to call her anymore. She almost got arrested for LuAnn. I’d love to know what that’s about, but she doesn’t go into it. In her interview, Dorinda thinks it’s the first time she’s seeing The Countess everyone else has spoken about. Bethenny tells Dorinda this is not what she wants to do, and Dorinda tells her to stay out of it. She was going to apologize to LuAnn, and humble her ass, but not when LuAnn is treating her like sh*t. In her interview, Ramona says they’re like a couple of roosters. They need to step aside, and not put on a crazy show. It’s too early.

Bethenny says LuAnn just got out of rehab. Everyone tells her not to get involved. Bethenny says Carole is in everyone’s business. In her interview, Bethenny says it’s not a good sign. They’re not one empanada into breakfast, and someone is going overboard. Dorinda leaves the table. In her interview, Dorinda says she doesn’t regret one moment, and if she wanted to, she could be meaner, but she’s holding back. Ramona says Dorinda is having fun, and doesn’t want to be told what to do. LuAnn says Dorinda is getting angry again, and Bethenny tells LuAnn she understands more than they know. Carole rolls her eyes, and Bethenny says it’s obvious Carole doesn’t like her. Carole says she hasn’t changed; she just doesn’t have 24/7 to respond to texts like she used to. That’s what changed. The time spent together has changed, and neither one of them has enough time. Carole thinks they should cancel the boat trip.

Carole decides to take a breath. Tinsley says the trip is dark, and she feels depressed about it. She loves Cartagena, but it’s not happening. Bethenny and Carole aren’t feeling her, but it’s okay. Bethenny says she realizes she’s crying a lot, but never had a friendship disintegrate to this level. She doesn’t know if they’re each other’s kind of person. Ramona says different people come and go in your life. How insightful.

Dorinda decides to stay behind and go into town. Carole asks why she and LuAnn don’t talk quietly and privately, and steers her toward LuAnn. Dorinda says she will if LuAnn wants to. Carole says it’s only in front of everyone that it gets heated. Carole makes herself scarce. LuAnn and Dorinda hug, and Dorinda says she loves LuAnn. LuAnn says she knows, but there was so much anger. Dorinda though LuAnn was judging her, but LuAnn says that wasn’t how she felt, but Dorinda looked angry. Dorinda says she was happy, and only had one drink. She felt like LuAnn was coming down on her. If she needs to apologize, LuAnn should too. In her interview, Dorinda says they’re both responsible. LuAnn tells Dorinda that she’s sorry if Dorinda thought she was being judgmental. She reacted darkly, and then went apesh*t. Dorinda says LuAnn should be sorry for what she said, but she wants to move on, and promises it won’t happen again. LuAnn says Dorinda is a dear friend. They’ve been through a lot, and it’s one moment in ten or twelve years. In her interview, LuAnn says the things Dorinda said were so dark and angry toward her. She can’t forget; it hurt so much. When you’re slapped like that, it leaves a scar. Dorinda doesn’t want to repeat the evening, and LuAnn agrees. In her interview, LuAnn says it’s hard enough realizing the feelings Dorinda has for her. She’s going to put it, and not ruin the trip. She wants to enjoy the rest of the time. They hug again.

Bethenny talks to Sonja and Ramona, saying Carole was wrong to say what she did, given how sensitive they are right now. Why couldn’t she sit it out? She says she’s not giving up on the friendship, but thinks Carole doesn’t love her. Carole sits back down at the table, but Bethenny doesn’t notice, and keeps talking. She doesn’t think Carole needs to jump on everything. She’s been crying because of the deterioration of a friendship; it’s heartbreaking. They’re at code red, and Carole should let her talk, even if she’s being an idiot. It’s upsetting. Carole says she’s there, and I laugh. Bethenny says it was nothing she wouldn’t say to her face. Sonja says it’s the best communication they’ve had the whole trip. Carole says just because she’s not crying, doesn’t mean she’s not upset. In her interview, Carols says Bethenny acts like a twelve-year-old, playing the victim. Instead of acknowledging what she did, she says, you don’t like me anymore. Carole says everything one of them says, sets the other one off. Bethenny says she’s never experienced anything like this. Carole says Bethenny questioned the friendship, things were said, they talked about it, and she thought it was better. She suggests they just have a good time, and Bethenny agrees. In her interview, Bethenny says she’s emotionally bereft. Most relationships shouldn’t take this much work. It’s been a weird trip. As they leave, Carole mentions there’s a torture museum in town. Bethenny says, this is the torture museum. I went to one of those in Niagara Falls (Canadian side). It was the coolest thing, with all the medieval devices set up in wax figure tableaus. Sadly, the museum had a fire and is no more, but how weird must that have been?

They get to the boat, and champagne is waiting. They toast to a great time. Bethenny says she loves Carole, and she’s sorry. Carole says she feels the same. In her interview, Carole says Bethenny still didn’t own up, but for now, she’s going to take it. The boat leaves port. In her interview, Ramona says, the beach, swimming, pink champagne, and a yacht. They’re in their element, and they’re ready. Everyone takes selfies. Dorinda dances. They see little islands with houses on them, and Dorinda says, this is vacation. They arrive at a private island. In her interview, Bethenny says they’ve been in enclosed spaces, and they’re all animals and need to run wild. It’s real freedom and vacation. LuAnn thinks it’s very romantic, and wishes she was there with a guy.

The island has open rooms that look like a beach club. A few of the women poke at a crab on the boardwalk, and decide to put it in a hammock with Ramona. LuAnn gets in the hammock, and tells Ramona come on, hiding the crab. When Ramona gets in, LuAnn puts it on her, and Ramona scrambles around and squeals. In her interview, Ramona is glad she didn’t roll off and sprain her ankle worse. The poor crab ends up getting mangled.

The girls go swimming. Ramona moons, and Sonja flashes. They notice the price tag is still on Sonja’s bathing suit. She explains that she keeps the tags on in case her clothing goes to the consignment store. Tinsley says, eBay, gently used. In her interview, Tinsley says she even got her hair wet. She’s happy it’s going this well, and they’re finally having fun.

Dorinda sits on the dock. In her interview, Bethenny says Dorinda is sad, and she knows what it feels like. It’s been a weird vacation. Dorinda has done something she regrets, but doesn’t entirely remember. She says she’s rather make her feel better than let her sit in it. She and Dorinda take a walk. Dorinda says she wants to have fun and drinks, but not have people mad at her. Bethenny says she’s now a mental patient. Dorinda wondered what happened, but doesn’t think it went that way. Bethenny tells her not to beat herself up. Dorinda says she doesn’t need anyone to make it right. It’s not her goal to hurt people’s feelings. She starts to cry, and says she’s heartbroken. LuAnn is like family, and to hurt her is a bad thing. She wants to be a safe place all the time. Bethenny hugs her, and tells her to give herself a break. Just tell LuAnn she loves her, and give her a hug.

Sonja’s tag is gone, and I’m thinking, if she took it to the consignment shop, they would notice it had gotten wet anyway. Dorinda approaches LuAnn. She’s sorry she hurt her. LuAnn knows she is, and they hug. LuAnn says she loves and forgives her. In her interview, she says she felt like she did when she got let out of jail. She tells Dorinda that she’s not judging; she’s just worried. In her interview, LuAnn says when Dorinda gets in trouble over and over again, when she’s drinking and pointing her finger, anger is an issue. She needs to look at herself. Dorinda says she thought they were in a good place, and doesn’t know where this came from. LuAnn says she thought the same thing about herself, and bam! In her interview, Dorinda says LuAnn is in a pink cloud post rehab place, and projecting, but she doesn’t need advice.

Lunch is ready. Carole and Bethenny sit quietly, and in her interview, Carole says Bethenny actually ran out of words. She’s shocked, but it’s good. Tinsley and Carole talk shopping, and Bethenny thinks it’s boring. In her interview, Carole says no one shops more than Bethenny, and no one is more obsessed with her own and everyone else’s clothing than Bethenny. Ramona says they’re all fashionistas. After lunch, they lie in the sun. Tinsley says she’s never slept better. Ramona says she found her man, and asks if she has any career plans. doesn’t she want to do something for herself? Tinsley says she worked hard, and now wants to be a wifey for once; she’s never been that. Ramona says she hasn’t either. In her interview, Ramona thinks it sounds shallow and empty. Ramona swings the hammock, and Tinsley spills red wine all over.

LuAnn and Sonja go over cabaret stuff. In her interview, LuAnn says just because she’s on vacation doesn’t mean her cabaret is. She says they need a beatboxer. She and Sonja get on the table. In her interview, Carole says she’s nervous for LuAnn. The show isn’t far away, and they definitely have kinks to work out. A woman comes in, and tells them the water is getting choppy. They have to go back.

They get in the boat. The wind is picking up. LuAnn is still looking for her phone, and the producer tells her to hustle; he’ll get it later. The coastguard called, and they have to jet. The water starts to get seriously rough. Ramona wants the captain to slow down, but Tinsley says this is normal. Sonja starts to freak, and Ramona is like ♫ La-la-la! ♫ In her interview, Tinsley says it doesn’t feel extreme to her. Sonja says she’s been on many boats, but never like this. It’s like an airplane with one propeller. She announces that she peed her pants, so if you see that suit in the store or on eBay, don’t buy it. (I added that last part.)

Wow. My stomach just lurched while watching, and Carole thinks she’s going to throw up. Sonja says Tinsley isn’t worried because she doesn’t have a kid, and Tinsley fails to see how that applies. Ramona says she can’t swim. In her interview, Bethenny says Carole is throwing up in a bowl, and while she’s trying to comfort her, a table and chairs come flying at them. Dorinda asks about lifejackets, and is told there’s one. In her interview, Bethenny says the waves were fifteen feet, and Dorinda is screaming they’re taking on water. We hear a siren. Everyone wonders where the life vests are, and Dorinda says she smells smoke.

Ramona and Sonja clutch each other. We see text, and it says the waters were so rough, filming had to stop for safety reasons. We look at a video of the town. Seventeen hours later. Bethenny says it was the boat from hell. LuAnn says she thought they were dying at sea. Even the camera people had to go down. Dorinda wondered if anyone called for help. Things were flying all around. There was smoke, and the boat wasn’t going forward. LuAnn says she was praying they didn’t capsize. The anchor was deployed, and they were trying to get it back. She says the captain ended up cutting it off with two swords a la Pirates of the Caribbean. They would have been killed otherwise. Bethenny says, no bueno.

Tinsley says it was super traumatic for everyone but her. She didn’t fear for her life, but can’t take away how the rest of them felt. Carole says she’s been to the most dangerous places, but it’s nothing compared to the boat. By the time they got back, they needed to decompress, and had some PTSD. No one got hurt, but everyone was like, wtf just happened? We see a clip of them dancing like maniacs. Dorinda says she just went to bed. Her nervous system was a mess, and she ran to the toilet all night. She wants to go home now. Tinsley says she doesn’t have diarrhea; she’s just hungover. She’s not that adventurous with food, and she and Bethenny didn’t eat the paella. Sonja says she had no toilet paper. In her interview, Bethenny says Ramona stole her toilet paper; it was a full-on diarrhea festival. Only she and Tinsley were fresh as daisies. Sonja says they got out of the boat, and then were swimming in sh*t. No offense to Columbia, but it never happened like this before. Tinsley says the trip wasn’t what they all hoped. It feels like the end couldn’t come soon enough.

They pack. Dorinda says it was literally and figuratively a sh*t show. She practically has to sit on her suitcase, and wonders why she always comes back with more than she left with. Um… because you went shopping? LuAnn says she left the ultimate gift on the bed. We see the maid scrubbing the mattress. Ew!

Next time, as much as LuAnn wants to forgive Dorinda, Dorinda doesn’t know she needs to be forgiven; Carole gets a trophy, and Dorinda horns in on Ramona’s skincare launch.

🍴 On MasterChef, the contestants had to make an entrée for the toughest critics – six to nine-year-olds with big appetites. Besides being safe from elimination, the winning team would get their dish featured in Family Circle magazine. The chefs split into two teams, with Julia leading the red team, and SJ leading the blue. The blue team chose a New York strip steak, and the red team decided on filet mignon. While some effort was made to hide the vegetables, the chefs weren’t grasping children’s palates, and Gordon cautioned them about not making the steak too rare. I’m not sure many kids are into asparagus or truffles either. Julia’s team won, and SJ’s team had to don the black aprons for the pressure test. Mark was called out for being arrogant and not listening. His parents owning a diner seemed to make him think he knew everything. The test was making a box of a dozen cupcakes in ninety minutes. A cupcake takes seventy-five minutes to bake, according to Christina Tosi, who was a guest judge, bringing along her own box of cupcakes. They were so gorgeous, in that moment, I would have sold a kidney for one. She wanted to see culinary masterpieces, and the chefs were given a massive array of ingredients, including just about anything you could think of for decorating. Gerron included bourbon in his recipe, but Gordon said the cupcakes looked like they had too much to drink. They were pretty messy. Not that I could do any better, and would probably do worse. For all his knowledge, Mark didn’t even get all of his cupcakes in the box. To make it worse, he thought it was funny. Gordon didn’t think so, and said he was becoming unteachable. Gerron and Mark were on the chopping block – my girl Chelsea was safe on the red team – and, no surprise, Mark was out. His mentor Joe told him to open his mind up to the right people. He’s young, and the road is long. Mark claimed he was humbled, and learned that he doesn’t know it all. He couldn’t wait until the day he’d be serving the chefs in his own restaurant. Next time, the hottest challenge of the season, and a divided kitchen produces shocking results.

General Hospital

Finn goes to his room and finds Robert on the phone. Robert tells someone to keep him posted. Finn asks why he’s there, and he says they need to talk about Anna. Finn asks if Robert was talking to her, but he says he was talking to Frisco, the director of the WSB, and a good friend of Anna’s. She seems to have disappeared about a month ago.

At The Floating Rib, Curtis suggests Drew see Peter again about the flash drive. He tells Drew that if Peter shuts down, keep trying. He has the flash drive with Drew’s baseline memories on it. Drew says if he ever had it, he doesn’t now, so there’s no point.

Margaux looks at the information on the flash drive. The Anamnesis Project; the effects of memory rewriting. She reads that the purpose is for the transference of memories from one patient to another, and that Patient A was Jason Morgan, and Patient B was Drew Cain.

Carly is glad for a shower and not being drugged out of her mind. She tells Jason not to be mad. He asks why he would be, and says she didn’t listen to Sonny, and then broke out of Ferncliff. Jason says she did it out of fear for her son. She did the wrong thing for the right reasons. She says she thought she could get through to him. Jason explains that Michael had to marry Nelle; it was part of the plan. He’s been working with the cops to prove Nelle is a murderer.

Still in the smoking car, Michael tells Sonny to go. Find Nelle, and make sure the baby is okay. Sonny yanks Michael out of the car.

Brad grabs the baby, saying, please wake up. He does infant chest compression, and begs the baby to be okay.

Robert tells Finn that he and Anna haven’t spoken since his last visit. He hasn’t heard from her, but that’s not unusual. Finn says they’re spies. Isn’t it standard procedure to touch base? Robert asks when Finn last spoke to her, actually hearing her voice. Finn says the day she left, she called from the car on her way to the airport. Robert says she never got there, and didn’t make the flight. Robert tells him the texts were from Anna’s captors.

Curtis can’t believe that Drew is throwing away what went in to making him Drew. Drew says, there’s a difference between giving up and cutting your losses. The flash drive is gone, and he’s going to concentrate on the person he is now. Curtis says it sounds good, assuming he follows through. Curtis makes a living answering questions for people who wish they’d never asked. They don’t really want to know, but come to him because they can’t live with the uncertainty. The limbo of not knowing is worse than whatever he uncovers. Telling himself that he’ll stop looking for answers doesn’t mean he will. Margaux approaches the table, and wants to join them in a beer.

Carly asks Jason what the plan is, and why it involves Michael marrying Nelle. Jason says he didn’t know about it until it was in motion. He tried to talk to Michael multiple times, but Michael felt it was his problem, and he wants to solve it. It will be over soon anyway. Carly asks what Michael is trying to accomplish, and Jason says he wants Nelle to try to kill him.

Michael leans on Sonny, who leads him away from the car. The car explodes.

At the hospital, Julian asks if Lucas has checked his messages from Brad. Lucas says, no; why? Julian tells him to just do it. Lucas listens as Brad says he wishes he could be there to see his face, but he’s busy with their son. He can’t wait for them to meet. He’ll be waiting for him with the baby at home. Julian congratulates him. Lucas says he’s a father, and calls Brad.

Brad sits in the car, crying. He asks the baby to please wake up, and I wonder why he isn’t going to the hospital. Nelle comes out of the forest, holding her baby, and asks for help.

Carly wants to make sure Michael is safe. They can call while they’re driving to Canada.

Chase finds Sonny and Michael. He asks if Sonny is hurt. Michael wants to find Nelle.

Jason tells Carly that Chase was the investigating officer in Zack’s death. Nelle thought he was getting close to the truth, seduced him, then turned him in for inappropriate behavior. That’s why the case was shelved. Carly says, and how Nelle got away with murder. She asks why Chase didn’t say something, and Jason says it would have been a conflict of interest. He confronted Nelle the night Carly was convicted, but she cried to Michael, and he pretended to believe her. He went to Chase, and they came up with a plan. Carly says, a plan where Michael risks his life.

Curtis invites Margaux to join them. She says he was very helpful in the investigation, and he says they do what they can. She asks, even when it requires breaking and entering? He tells Drew that Margaux is staying in Peter’s old suite, and there was a miscommunication. She says that’s why she chose not to press charges. Curtis says it won’t happen again, and she asks if that’s because he won’t do it again or won’t get caught? He goes to the bar to get her a beer, and she tells Drew she owes him an apology. He says they’re past the mustard incident, but she says she listened in on his conversation with Peter. She did some research, and found out it’s all true. She’s sorry; it sounds terrible. He says he wouldn’t know. He doesn’t remember.

Brad gets out of the car, and asks Nelle, what happened? She says she had her baby; a beautiful little boy. Oooh. I see where this is going.

Robert looks at the texts Finn has gotten from Anna. He says they’re minimal and perfunctory. Wasn’t he suspicious? Finn asks, wasn’t he? Robert says it’s not the first time Anna has frozen him out, but she and Finn are love birds. You’d think her texts would be more intimate than just busy talk. He reads, things have gotten complicated – come to Berkeley asap. He says it’s a good thing Finn dropped by his room, or he might be in a plastic bag on his way to a landfill. Finn suggests they focus on Anna. How are they going to get her back? Robert says, by giving them something they want – Finn.

Curtis tells Margaux about Drew helping him search the dumpster, and she laughs. He says there were rats the size of pit bulls. She asks if they found what they were looking for, and he asks if he mentioned Drew’s grave robbing field trip. Drew dragged his ass to the Jerome family crypt. He’s surprised that Margaux knows who the Jeromes are, and she says the first thing she did as the new DA was go through the files on organized crime in Port Charles. She says no one has come close to Sonny. Curtis says he was about to lift the lid on a stone sarcophagus, and imagine his surprise when it was empty. They proved Olivia-J was still alive, but they couldn’t stop her before she wired the hospital to explode. Margaux say she read about two civilians were wired to explode – Curtis and Jason Morgan. Curtis says it should have said Drew, not Jason. Jason was in Russia. Margaux says it must have been a surprise when Drew found out they were brothers.

Jason tells Carly that Nelle believed once the baby was born. Michael was going to divorce her, and file for sole custody, because she overheard a conversation between him and Jason. Carly is shocked that Jason helped Michael scam Nelle, since he’s the world’s worst liar. He says Nelle is nine months pregnant, and it wasn’t like she could take him out on a kayak. She would need help with an accident. She needed someone she could manage, someone who she thinks is in love with her. Chase got the recording of her asking him to kill Michael. Carly asks what more do they need? and Jason says, for her to confess to Zack’s murder and that Carly didn’t push her down the stairs.

Chase gives Nelle’s description to dispatch, and says she’s wanted for attempted murder. Sonny asks him what happened, and if this is the vehicle that ran Michael off the road. He says they were transporting Obrecht to Pentonville. She overpowered the guard, and the driver lost control. Sonny asks if she’s in custody, and he says they’re still searching. Michael’s turn. Michael says he got Nelle to admit to almost everything. Just before he got to his mom pushing her, he saw headlights and swerved, but they crashed. When he came to, Nelle was leaving. Chase asks if she was hurt, and Michael says just a scratch, and the baby was fine. She accused him of setting her up, which was true, but she incriminated herself. She couldn’t believe he would do that to the mother of his child. He tried to go after her, but his seatbelt jammed. It must have been Nelle’s silver lining of the night. The car was leaking gas, and she said too bad she didn’t have a lighter and left. He tried to free himself, but if his dad hadn’t shown up, would have died.

Nelle tells Brad that Michael doesn’t love her; she’s not sure he ever did. He married her to better his standing in court. He was going to divorce her and file for sole custody. Brad asks if she gave birth here, and she says there was an accident. A car swerved into their lane, but Michael was too busy making accusations about how she killed her first fiancé and gaslighted his mom. She was so terrified for the baby, she confessed. The next thing she remembers is that she saw headlights. She woke up in the passenger seat, and Michael was unconscious. She went off and tried to find help, but she got lost and went into labor. Brad asks if she delivered the baby by herself, and she says there was no one to help. He’s perfect and beautiful. Brad says, more like her than she knows. She asks why he keeps looking into the back seat of the car. What’s in the basket? He says he and Lucas got their son tonight.

Jason tells Carly that Nelle thinks the car is wired to crash, but Michael isn’t dropping her off like she believes. Nelle thinks the car is going to crash, and hopefully, will be desperate enough to tell him Michael what happened. The car is wired for sound and video. Carly asks if it won’t be entrapment, but he says Chase never suggested killing Michael. Nelle came up with that on her own. She wasn’t coerced to rig the car, and Michael was the intended victim. Carly says it’s brilliant, but she hates it.

Margaux asks if Drew doesn’t like to talk about his brother, but he says there’s not much to talk about. She asks if he remembers the things that happened to Jason as though they happened to him. He asks what she’s getting at, and she says she’s just trying to wrap her head around the incredible situation. She apologizes for making him uncomfortable, but he says they’re good. She says she seems to be apologizing again, and doesn’t know what else she can do to make amends. He insists it’s fine, but she says she’ll pick up the tab on her way out. She thanks him for an interesting evening, even though it’s only been five minutes. Curtis comes back, and says he thinks Margaux likes Drew.

Chase asks if Michael has any idea how much time has passed since Nelle left. He thinks forty minutes. Sonny wonders if Nelle thinks she’s a widow. If she thinks Michael died, she might turn herself in. Michael says she knows she incriminated herself, but up until now, it was a twisted narrative. If she thinks he died, she might say she only said it to make him slow down. Chase thinks between the recording and tonight, it should be enough for a conviction. Michael hopes she doesn’t realize he’s still alive; it’s safer for the baby if she turns herself in. Chase gets a call, he asks for a name on the fugitive, and tells them he’s still waiting on EMS. Sonny asks if it’s an update on Nelle, but he says the commissioner was called away. A single gunman broke Carly out. He asks if Sonny has any idea where they might be hiding, but Sonny says, no.

Lucas says Brad still isn’t picking up, and Julian says he’s probably knee deep in diapers already. Lucas says they spent so many hours, days, waiting; not trusting it would actually happen, and here it is. Brad is going to spend the rest of their lives lording it over Lucas that he was afraid to be happy, and he knew better.

Carly says she was so drugged up. Had she known Michael’s plan… Jason says she might not have done anything differently. Carly says, no, she wouldn’t have. It makes her nauseous that Michael risked taking Nelle on; she’s insane. Her whole goal has been to torture Carly. Some people might say she deserves it. Jason says he doesn’t, but she says his mother would. Monica will never forgive her for AJ, but now that Carly is a mother, she wouldn’t either. She knows she messed up, but Nelle is a psycho. She doesn’t think Nelle cares about anything. She took a chance on killing Michael, and knew nothing would hurt Carly worse.

Brad tells Nelle the baby wouldn’t wake up. He tried infant CPR and prayed for a miracle, but nothing did any good. Nelle says she’s sorry. He says he’s going to the hospital, and can give her a ride. She says she can’t go with him, but he can take her baby. He says she needs medical attention, but she insists she can’t go. Michael tricked her into making a confession to things she never did. He got it all on tape, so she has no chance. Sonny blames her for Carly’s breakdown, and he’ll try to take the baby. Brad says Sonny can’t do that. Nelle says he’s married to Carly’s brother; how can he not know that Sonny does what he wants. He’d rather servants raise the baby than for her to keep it, or he’ll send the child away. She’s going to lose him regardless. The only control she has, is over who takes him. She’d rather it be him than Sonny a million times over. He’s going through a tragedy, but good can come from it. Two loving parents, not the baby’s, but he’s hers, and she’s giving him to them. She tells him to think about it. Lucas will never have to look at an empty cradle or grieve over losing a son. Everyone will be happy.

Robert tells Finn the most likely scenario is Anna had intel they wanted. They tried to interrogate her, and got nowhere. Finn says, interrogate how? but Robert says it didn’t work. That’s why the invitation/ Anna talks or he dies. Finn says he’s been through that before. Robert asks if he wants to go through it again. Does he want to put his life on the line for Anna?

Margaux looks at the flash drive files, and makes notes. She wonders how much of his brother’s life Drew knows.

Carly is afraid now that Nelle has been pushed, she’ll start to unravel. Carly is considered crazy, and not responsible for what she does, but Jason is another story. He tells her that Diane is going to argue she had reason to fear for Michael’s safety. She says he had a gun, but he says they don’t know that. There will be nothing on the security footage, so there’s no proof. She asks, what about Franco? and Jason says Franco was an accomplice; he won’t say anything. Carly wonders how long they’ll have to stay in Canada, and Jason hopes less than three months. She says a while ago, a time out would have seemed like heaven on earth. Now she doesn’t want to leave her family, but if they don’t have her, they need him. Jason hears someone coming, and Carly hides. It’s Sonny, and she comes out and hugs him.

Lucas comes home, and wonders where Brad is. He got twelve messages, and Brad has been calling nonstop. Where did he go?

Nelle walks down the road. We hear sirens. She stands waiting as the lights flash.

Finn tells Robert, whatever he can do for Anna, he’s in. Robert suggest Finn get some sleep, and he’ll be back in the morning. Finn tells him the text said asap, but Robert says, that’s the way it works. They get ahead by getting them to act on their timetable. They want their hands on him to get the advantage. He has to go make arrangements, and tells Finn that his lizard looks pale. He should spend time with her while he can. I tell Robert that Roxie is a bearded dragon.

Sonny asks how Carly is, and she says she’s had worse. She asks if Michael’s plan worked, and he says there was a car accident. Michael is banged up a little, but fine. She asks about Nelle and the baby, but he doesn’t know. Nelle walked away and is nowhere to be found.

At the hospital, Michael asks Chase if there’s been an update on Nelle. Chase says she’s there. She was picked up on the side of the road. Michael hobbles into the waiting area, and sees Nelle in a wheelchair, holding the baby. She looks at him, and he asks if she had the baby. Because he’s blind.

Brad comes home, and tells Lucas that he took the baby for a drive. Their baby; their son. Lucas would really like to meet him, and Brad hands nuWiley over. Lucas says, he’s here, and kisses him. He says they’ve been waiting for him. They’re a family.

Michael asks if it’s a boy or girl, and Nelle says, a beautiful boy. He wants to hold the baby, and practically has to tug it out of her arms. She cries. He realizes the baby is dead. She says she’s sorry. Their son didn’t make it.

The camera pans out, and we see a tableau of Nelle sitting next to Michael holding the baby.

Tomorrow, Lucas asks where Brad went, Nelle tells Michael it’s his fault, and Elizabeth tells Sonny that she’s sorry.

Below Deck Mediterranean

Captain Sandy tells Hannah to go to her cabin; she’s on the verge of effing firing her, and wants to calm down. Hannah freaks a little. The captain paces, and calls Conrad to the bridge. She says he’s being manipulative and taking advantage. He didn’t do the right thing, and she’s ready to fire him and Hannah. She asks if he thinks it’s okay as bosun have the chief stew off the boat for five hours. He’s all humana-humana. Jamie tells Casey there’s a weird vibe on the boat. Kasey wants to know more.

The captain tells Conrad that they carried the boat while Hannah was sick. He wonders where this is coming from. The guests wanted to stay, and they’re supposed to do anything for them. She says, him, not Hannah. It was supposed to be one Coke, then back to the boat; yes or no? Hannah tells Jamie they took the guests to the beach club, and went on a tender ride as planned. Brooke says there’s a storm brewing. Conrad tells Captain Sandy that he didn’t know. All he knew, is they were supposed to go snorkeling. The captain hopes he’s telling the truth, and didn’t know he was supposed to bring Hannah back. She tells him to take a deckhand if he knows they’re setting up for dinner service. Hannah tells Jamie there’s nothing she can do about the anxiety. Captain Sandy tells Conrad that he has a bright future; now go.

Adam asks the guests how the beach club was, and Kenny makes a Donald Duck voice. Brooke is frustrated covering for Hannah. She knows the guests come first, but says Hannah can’t just do what she wants.

Hannah wants to talk to Conrad, but he says it’s probably not the best idea right now. She says it’s frustrating, and he tells her to deal with it. In his interview, Conrad says they’re not doing justice to their relationship on the boat. He should have stuck with his rule: don’t screw the crew. He asks if João has had a break, and says he’ll take some of João’s watch. João goes to eat, and Conrad tells Colin about what happened with the captain. Adam and the others watch them talking on the monitor. Conrad tells Colin to keep it between them.

Brooke sets up for dinner. She says she and Kasey have gotten closer, regardless of the João stuff. She tells João about the captain being frustrated that Hannah was off the boat. He says he’s not in a position to care, and strokes her leg. Captain Sandy calla Hannah to the bridge. Colin does carny voice, saying, step right up to the bridge and get disciplined by Captain Sandy. The captain asks Hannah if she thinks what she did was okay. It was supposed to be one Coke, and she was gone five hours. Yesterday, Brooke worked twenty-one hours while Hannah was ill, now she’s gone for five hours. Hannah says she was with the guests, but the captain says that’s not what the chief stew should be doing. She should have been back on the boat. That she thinks it’s okay is the most disturbing. She says, they’re done, and tells Hannah to stay away from her for the rest of the charter. In her interview, Captain Sandy doesn’t know what to do. She’s so angry, but needs to get through the charter and then decide.

Hannah still doesn’t know what she did wrong. Adam says there’s a lot of weirdness going on with the crew, but he needs to focus on the food, and – wait for it – knock it out of the park. Hannah finishes setting up for service, and tells Conrad that they should have a chat. Hannah teases Kenny, calling him a troublemaker, and tells Adam to get started. Captain Sandy calls Conrad to the bridge. Kenny says Adam is killing it.

The captain apologizes to Conrad, sorry that he bore the brunt of her anger. She’s upset with Hannah. She knows he takes his job seriously, and tells him to just do his job like he has been. He thanks her, and they hug it out. Adam’s minestrone looks fabulous, and we flashback to the last time when he couldn’t help himself with the onions. Kenny wonders if there are really no onions in it, takes a spoonful, and pronounces it delicious. Hannah asks if Adam has the onion game sorted, but he says he was busy cooking, and asks her to arrange it. In his interview, he says while she was away playing with Conrad, was he supposed to be organizing it? Nope. Hannah recruits João to help hide the onions, telling him just remember where they are. Kasey asks if Hannah had fun, and Hannah gets chummy with her.

Hannah serves crab stuffed lobster, and a filet for the no shellfish guest. Brooke feels like Hannah is trying to overcompensate by being friendly. Now she’s going too far the other way, and it’s creepy. Hannah tells Adam, the search is ready; let’s roll. He says there’s been more communication tonight than all season. Poached pear is served for dessert, and champagne is brought out to celebrate Desmond’s engagement. The champagne goes everywhere when Hannah pops the cork. She tells them, after she changes, they’re going to have a twist on the usual egg hunt. They’ll be searching for onions. The person who finds the most can throw chef overboard in the morning. In her interview, Hannah feels strangely calm. She says everybody can criticize all they want, but she knows what guests want, and what gets them excited. I guess I’m not chief stew material, since I never would have guessed an onion hunt.

The guests have three minutes. Kenny watches as the others hunt for onions. Amber and Kenny are the winners, which I guess means Amber found the most. Adam thinks Kenny would have won no matter what. On the deck, Hannah tells Conrad that she did nothing wrong. He says the captain doesn’t want to see them together. He starts to walk away, and she asks for a kiss goodnight.

It’s the final day. Adam says he’s wearing his board shorts in anticipation. João asks Kasey if she slept all right, and asks about the silverware placement. I’m guessing he’s trying for polite conversation. Kenny and Desmond throw Adam overboard, and the guests take pictures. Afterwards, Adam and Kenny hug. Adam is ready to cook breakfast, and anchor is pulled. The guests pump Kasey for information on any crew hook-ups, but she pleads ignorance. They mention “Ice” and Brooke flirting. Captain Sandy peeks in, and Kasey wonders if she heard them. In her interview, the captain says she knows everything and sees everything. She doesn’t care what they do, until it affects their work.

The table is decorated with candles and colored sea glass – my favorite. João steers the boat. Conrad sweeps up. He’s keeping his head down, and letting the work speak for itself. The captain calls Jamie to the bridge. Breakfast is served. Kenny tells Amber to put a salt shaker in her purse. In her interview, Captain Sandy says she wants Jamie to make decisions on when to rest; she’s not her mom. Conrad tells Adam about Captain Sandy saying he took Hannah away for hours. Adam says she thinks they were sucking face on the tender. Conrad thinks it blows, since João is having a relationship. Adam tells him to hang in through the charter, and bang on the beach somewhere. They dock.

The guests pack up, and the crew gets into their whites. There are lots of hugs. Kenny says they killed it. Everyone killed it, and everyone is awesome. He says he wants to give them a token of appreciation, and hands Adam an onion. It’s followed by giving an envelope to the captain, much to everyone’s relief. In his interview, Adam says Kenny was a looming cloud of the mistake he made, and to fix it makes him feel like a good chef. Well played, Adam!

Sandy calls Hannah to the bridge. She doesn’t want her kindness taken advantage of, and wants Hannah to show her how much she cares about her job. She’s not here to please the crew, and doesn’t want relationships to come up on deck. She says, the other day, it did, and we flash back to Hannah’s anxiety attach. Captain Sandy says she was watching her shake because she’s afraid to fall in love, and they carried it when she was ill. Hannah tells her that Kenny and Amber wanted the crew to come along. The captain says she told Hannah, one Coke and back to the boat, and she had no problem with that. Hannah claims she thought they were going on an excursion, and it wasn’t a clear conversation. What the captain doesn’t want is to go through that again. Hannah says she won’t be. Captain Sandy says, going forward, Hannah is to do her job, and everything she’s told. After that, they never have to work together again. That’s where she’s at. Hannah says, her too, and thanks the captain.

Tip meeting! Captain Sandy wants to talk about the elephant in the room. Emotional experiences, hook-ups, break-ups; she doesn’t want it coming upstairs. It gets messy. It’s a big boat with a lot of people, and a crew who has emotions. They’re to do their jobs on deck, and no chatter upstairs. They got it pulled together this charter with the quickest beach set up the captain has witnessed in her career. Kenny was happy, and Adam was amazing. He was impressed, and she was blown away that Adam let himself get tossed in the water. He redeemed himself. Adam says it was fun. The captain asks Jamie how she is, and Jamie says, better. Captain Sandy says, they need her. She tells the crew they knocked it out of the park, because we’re back to baseball references after giving that a break for a week. The tip is the biggest they’ve ever gotten – $25K; $2083 per person. In her interview, Kasey says they got their biggest tip without Hannah. Hannah tells the stews the important thing is to clean anything Captain Sandy can see. The crew gets to work.

The boat is cleaned, and Jamie shows off her x-rays. João asks how Colin is. He’s ready to go home. João says he felt like that at first, but he probably hasn’t been home for a year and a half. In his interview, Colin is sad that he and João aren’t as close as they had been before João hit on Brooke. He says it will be nice to get home and back to how he was. Everyone gets ready to go out. Conrad calls Hanna sweetie, and she says, not really. They head to shore.

In the car, Hannah talks about getting a BMW for her 21^st birthday. She asks Conrad for cigarettes, and he says she owes him fifty euros. He’s sorry he can’t buy her a car. She says she has no expectations from Conrad. He’s made that clear. She can’t even get a pack of cigarettes from him, although she’s given him plenty of them. He has nothing to say, and she tells him have good night, and skootches as far away as possible. In her interview, she says she doesn’t want a penny-pinching relationship. She doesn’t want a guy busting her grill for fifty bucks.

On the way to the bar, Hannah tells Brooke that she’s not used to a man telling her that she owes him fifty euros and cigarettes. She’s not hungry, but she doesn’t want to go to bed. Everyone else is already at the table, and Brooke says Hannah is thinking about going home. Conrad leaves and finds Hannah on the steps, talking to Adam. Hannah tells Adam that she owes Conrad money, and he’s asking for it back. It’s not what she’s used to. Adam sees Conrad is there, and says maybe they should talk. Hannah and Conrad go for a smoke. Kasey asks what’s happening, and tell her quick before they come back. Hannah tells Conrad, he gives her a cigarette and thinks she owes him. She thinks it’s stingy. She says sorry, but if that stays on his mind, she’s probably not the girl for him. He says he didn’t know it was a problem. He says he didn’t think it was all that much money to her. She says it’s not the money. They just started dating. He says there’s a line she can’t cross. She guesses it’s fifty euros. He walks away.

Adam asks if they’re having wine, or going right to gin and tonics. João asks if he wants Jezebub now or later, and Adam says, as soon as possible. Conrad says Hannah isn’t prepared to swallow the fact that he cant buy her a house in Versailles. Hannah joins table, since she thought she’d be a grown up. She’s cold, and Adam gives her his flannel shirt. (He’s wearing a graphic T-shirt underneath it.) Kasey and Brooke high five over their biggest tip. In her interview, Kasey says it’s a big deal. It was a complicated charter, and João didn’t put a wedge between them like she thought he did. Hannah says she’s done for the night. Conrad says they can do this there or somewhere else. They leave together. Adam asks João if Jezebub is coming out, but João says, not yet.

Conrad says he’s not a guy who pays for everything. In his interview, he says when he was fifteen, his biological father got in touch with him. After that, he cut off all contact. He only wanted to make sure he didn’t have to pay child support money. With Hannah, instead of friends and family first, it’s about being rich. Now that it’s been mentioned, Hannah does talk about the labels on her clothing, accessories, and skincare products a lot. Conrad asks, what about a guy who makes her happy? She says it’s not about that. It’s that she’d have to adjust her lifestyle to one he can afford. Conrad laughs, and says he’s pretty sure it’s the one thing he can’t do. She says she just wanted to piss him off, and he says she nailed it. I think of that Red Baron commercial where the woman wiped up spilled milk with her sock, and is still wearing it. Conrad asks if Hanna is happy she pissed him off, and she says, kind of. He tells her it shows the spite behind person she is. He gets up, and tells her, goodnight. She grabs for his arm, but he keeps on walking. After thinking about it for a millisecond, I decide they’re both a-holes.

The rest go dancing. Conrad catches up. Hannah sits and smokes. Conrad dances with João. Everyone gets down and gets funky. Hannah joins them, and asks to talk to Conrad. She wants him to give something to Adam. He says she saw he was having a good time, and she walked away; talk to him. She says she didn’t think she’d find him acting like he didn’t care, and he says he was trying to drink and forget. Does she want to be happy? Kasey asks João if he’s okay, and he tells her, eff you. He says she’s been talking sh*t about him. I think Jezebub has arrived. He says she talks sh*t about him, when he tried to help her. She taught him something. She says he taught her something too. In her interview, she says she told Brooke to be careful. João is mad at her because he knows he can’t screw with her, and he doesn’t like it.

Conrad asks Hannah, which guy does she want? The one who makes her happy or gives her everything. Hannah accuses him of giving her an ultimatum. He asks if she’s happy with him or needs the money; he needs an answer now. She says, then that’s it. If they’re done, that’s it. He says he doesn’t want this, but Hannah walks away.
