What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Josslyn walks out onto the terrace with Trina, and says she wanted her mother to have enough time to get ready, and didn’t want her to feel rushed. Trina guesses wherever Carly went, it’s important. Carly comes out, and Josslyn asks where she was. Carly apologizes, saying, she didn’t mean to worry Josslyn. She says hi to Trina, who says she tried to keep Josslyn calm. Josslyn says she thought Carly was a runaway bride, but Carly says, she can’t wait to marry Jason. The doorbell rings, and Carly says, it must be a family member; the guards didn’t call. Josslyn says she’ll get it, but Carly insists she has time. She leaves to get the door, and Josslyn asks if Trina saw that. For weeks, she’s been distracted, almost like she was having second thoughts. Now look at her. She’s so happy. Trina says, it’s a happy day. She would be enjoying it better if she hadn’t humiliated herself.

Carly opens the door to Ava, who says, she knows it’s Carly’s wedding day. She’s sorry for just showing up like this, but it’s important.

Nikolas sits with Spencer and Esme at the MetroCourt, and says he’s not up for eating much. He’s a bit under the weather, but was happy to get the invitation. Esme says they’re happy he accepted, and Spencer says he’s sorry Nikolas isn’t feeling well. Esme says she understands Nikolas is an excellent horseman. She adores horses. Nikolas asks if she rides, and she says not as much as she did when she was a kid. She lived here, there, and everywhere. It wasn’t easy to keep a horse, but she and Spence did a lot of riding at school. They were lucky the school had a stable. Nikolas says she’s welcome to use the stables whenever she wants, and she says, that’s very kind. He asks what they’ve been doing for fun, and Esme says, Spence has been showing her around Port Charles. Nikolas says, the insider’s tour; where have they gone so far? What have they done? Spencer says, all kinds of stuff. What’s with the third degree? Nikolas still doesn’t trust him? Esme says, he’s just trying to make conversation; showing some interest. Spencer says, sure. He’s interested now. Valentin comes by, and says, aren’t we the picture of familial harmony?

Maxie asks if Austin will go with her to Carly and Jason’s wedding, and he asks if that’s an actual question. She asks why it wouldn’t be, and he says she just got done telling him that he’s a painful reminder of her losing Louise. So he doesn’t understand why she’d want him to attend a wedding with him. She says she realized she was looking at this the wrong way. It’s painful not to have her daughter with her right now, but her daughter is in the world because of him. Maybe she should be associating him with good things instead. So if he can forgive what she said before, she’d like to start over. Brook listens from around the corner.

Jordan opens her eyes, and Curtis says her name. He kisses her hand, and says, welcome back, beautiful. They thought they lost her. He kisses her hand again, and Portia watches from the doorway for a moment, then leaves.

Portia asks the reception nurse to text Austin, and let him know his patient is awake. The nurse says she’s so glad Portia is okay, and TJ says, his mother is awake? She’s totally conscious? Portia says she didn’t do an exam, but she thinks so. TJ says, thank God, and Shawn hugs him.

Phyllis answers Sonny/Mike’s phone, and Nina asks if he’s there, but Phyllis says he accidentally left his phone behind. He’s on his way to the Tan-O. Is everything all right? She says, everything is fine, and hears the door. She tells Phyllis, Mike is here now. They’ll talk soon. She turns around, and sees Peter walk in. He asks, what’s the matter? It looks like she’s seen a ghost. She says she wasn’t expecting to see him. He’s supposed to be… He says, dead? He’s so sorry to disappoint her, but here he is, alive and well. She asks why she’d think otherwise. She’s just surprised to see him. He’s supposed to be in St. Lucia. He says, beautiful St. Lucia, where he was scheduled to meet his doom at the hands of her Aunt Liesl. Very clever, but not clever enough. He told her that he had eyes and ears everywhere. One of his contacts told him that Obrecht had travel plans to head to St. Lucia as well. His would-be assassin has been waylaid. Nina asks what he did to Obrecht; is she okay? He says her auntie is being handled. Now, how best to handle her?

Austin says he only wishes he could have done more to keep Maxie and Louise safe. She says if they’re going to start talking regrets, they’ll be there all night, and completely miss the wedding. That is, if he’ll go with her. His phone dings, and he says he’s got to go, and jets. Brook comes back, and asks Maxie how it went. She was really selling him there. Maxie tells her, he said he had to go, and bolted. Maybe he saw right through her, or thinks she’s a complete nutjob. Whatever it is, she’s done.

The nurse tells Jordan that she’s all set. Let her know if she needs anything else. She leaves, and Jordan tells Curtis, hi. He says, hi, yourself. It’s good to have her back. She asks where she went, and he says, that’s a little existential for him to answer, but she had everyone scared to death. She says, everyone? and he says, one person in particular. TJ comes in, and asks how she’s feeling. She says she feels okay. She asks Curtis if they caught the perp who killed Barstow, and he says, look at her, always on the job, even from a hospital bed. Why is he not surprised? Curtis got him, but had to make a choice; either detain him or go back for her. It really wasn’t a choice at all. Portia comes in, and asks how Jordan is doing. Jordan thanks her, and Portia says she wishes she could have gotten Jordan out faster. She wouldn’t have inhaled all those fumes. She tried… Jordan says, Portia kept her alert as long as she could by talking to her, and she’ll never forget it.

Trina asks Josslyn to please tell her Spencer and his father aren’t invited to the wedding. Josslyn says, not unless Maxie went rogue and invited them without telling anyone, and Trina says, it’s a definitely possibility. Josslyn says, even if she did, and Spencer’s there, who cares? Is Trina worried about what Spencer thinks of her? Trina says, Esme called her out in front of him, and now he thinks she’s crushing on him. Josslyn says, and is she?

Carly invites Ava in, and asks, what’s going on? Ava says she’s moving away from Port Charles, and can’t take Avery with her. It’s killing her, but she needs to leave her little girl there with Carly.

Valentin says, look at young Spencer, all grown up. Spencer gets up, and says, no thanks to him, and Valentin says, easy. They don’t have dwell on and exaggerate ancient history, especially when they all have things they regret that woudn’t stand up to scrutiny. Nikolas says, it happened when Spencer was a child; what’s Valentin’s excuse? Valentin says they’re going to give this charming young woman the wrong impression. She’ll have to forgive this family; it’s ancient history really. Spencer says, really? Address his girlfriend again, and Valentin will be history. Esme looks like she’s enjoying this, and Valentin wonders why Spencer is so defensive. It makes him think Spencer is hiding something. Nikolas says he’ll give Valentin this; he’s good at mind games. Who does that remind him of? Oh, Helena. Like mother, like son. Valentin says, the father/son thing they’ve rediscovered is really touching, and Spencer puts his arm around Nikolas, saying, at least he knows who his father is. Anna joins them, and says, okay, that’s quite enough.

Trina tells Josslyn, she is into Spencer, or was. She’s not sure how she feels about him these days. One minute, they’re starting to connect, the next minute, comes his secret confidential girlfriend. Josslyn says she’s sorry, but Trina says, don’t be. Josslyn tried to warn her that Spencer was too good to be true. Josslyn says she was hoping she was wrong, that he got some perspective while he was away and grew up a little bit. Trina had it rough this summer. First, with that guy named Victor, then Spencer, who completely led her on, and lied by omission. She could throttle him for his insensitivity. Trina says Josslyn will have to throttle her too. Because Spencer lied about something else, and she helped him do it.

Anna asks where this is coming from, and Spencer says, Valentin is the reason his father stayed away so long, and pretended he was dead; to protect him, and recoup their rightful fortune. Valentin says, sorry, he didn’t realize Nikolas was protecting anyone. He thought Nikolas was hiding. Nikolas says, bastard, and Anna says, all of this is old news. None of them are the same people they were. Nikolas says, none of what Valentin has done will be forgotten. Despite his efforts, he’ll die without the Cassadine fortune. As for his attempt to hold on to the name, he’ll only ever be Helena’s cast-off no-name son. Anna tells Valentin, let’s go, and they leave. Esme says, nothing like mutual enemy to bring a family together. Who’s the bossy Brit?

Portia says, with the gas escaping, and Jordan collapsing, she was practically babbling She doesn’t even know what she said in that basement; it’s all a blur. Austin comes in, and Jordan tells Portia, she said they needed to hold on, that their children needed them. Austin says he’s happy to see she’s awake. He sees that bump on her head didn’t affect her memory, and TJ says, because she’s a champ. TJ asks how her throat is, and she says, scratchy. Portia says she’ll let Austin update Jordan, and leaves. Austin asks what TJ thinks, and TJ says, aside from some throat irritation, the patient doesn’t seem to have any of the more serious respiratory or cognitive symptoms normally associated with carbon monoxide poisoning. Austin agrees, and tells Jordan that they have to discuss her latest test results. TJ asks what her bloodwork indicates, and Jordan says, Dr. Ashford. She recognizes that he’s an excellent physician, but he’s not her physician. She’ll fill him in afterward. TJ leaves with Curtis.

Outside, Curtis tells Portia that she’s been great. He never got a chance to say thank you. She says she hasn’t had a chance to say thank you either. If he hadn’t shown up when he did, they woudn’t have made it out of the basement.

Molly runs in and hugs TJ. He asks how she knew, and she says, Shawn called her. TJ thanks Shawn, who says he knew TJ would want Molly there, and she’d want to be there. Molly asks how Jordan is doing, and TJ says, she’s awake and alert. That’s all good, but they don’t know about the long term yet.

Peter says, they had a deal. All Nina needed to do was find a lead for him to track down his daughter. He would have left her nephew in Port Charles, and left her alone to live out her cozy little lie of a life. How is Sonny doing? He looks at all the boxes, and asks if she and Sonny are doing a construction project. She says, leave Sonny out of it. She’ll help him find his daughter. Just tell her what he needs. He says they’re agreement became null and void when he was set up to be ambushed. She says she panicked; she’s sorry. She wasn’t sure she could get the information he demanded. She was afraid. He says what she was, was over-confident. She was so convinced her demented aunt would succeed in her mission, she didn’t bother considering the alternative. He’s sorry. Obrecht failed, and now there have to be consequences.

Trina tells Josslyn, here goes. Spencer is Victor. Josslyn say she’s sorry. She doesn’t think she heard right. Trina says, it was Spencer she met the night of her graduation party at the Savoy, but he told her that his name was Victor. That’s why he didn’t want any pictures taken with him, or be with Josslyn and Cameron on the 4th of July. He didn’t want to blow his cover. Josslyn says she’s not remotely shocked that Spencer would lie – he was a huge liar when they were kids – but what was the point? What did it get him? Trina says he begged her not to tell anyone that he was in town earlier than he claimed. He said it was because of his relationship with his father… to avoid drama. Joslyn says, please. Spencer craves drama. That’s why he threw that over-the-top party. And of course (🍷) his father had to do him one better by pretending to stab him. Those two deserve each other. Trina says, they probably do, but that’s not the point. She shouldn’t have covered for Spencer, and definitely shouldn’t have lied to Josslyn. A violation of the sisters before misters rule.

Carly asks if Ava is really going to let the stalker drive her out of town, and Ava says, her divorce from Nikolas is almost final. When it is, she’s gone. Hopefully, not forever. Carly says, if she’s taking this step, Ava must feel like she has no choice. Ava says she doesn’t. The stalker has become more dangerous. The night of Spencer’s party, her car was set on fire, and the stalker left Kiki’s GH badge there for her to find.

Spencer says, never mind Anna. They really showed Valentin. He and Nikolas high-five, but Nikolas is feeling pain. Esme says, he’s hurt, and Nikolas says he had a run-in with Ava’s bodyguards, and may have met with a fist or two. Spencer says, Ava had him beaten? but Nikolas says, it’s fine. It’s complicated, and he doesn’t want to get into it. Now if they’ll excuse him, since he doubts the bar serves ibuprofen or aspirin, he’s getting a gin and tonic. He goes to the bar, and Spencer wonders what kind of a sick game Ava is playing now. Esme says, it takes gamers to recognize game. If he wants to repair his relationship, he has to meet Nikolas halfway, and control his temper. Unless he wants an enemy like Valentin.

Anna asks why Valentin went over there, and he says he doesn’t know. She asks if he’s okay, and he says, Spencer is just posturing for his girlfriend. She says, that Helena remark was below the belt, and he says he was probably asking for it. How is her day going so far? She says, TJ texted her on her way over there. Apparently, Jordan was exposed to a gas leak or something, and she’s at GH right now; he’s going to keep her updated. Valentin says he’s so sorry. What is she doing there? Go be with her friend. She says he’s her friend too.

TJ asks Austin how his mom is, and Austin says, first things first. She’s given her permission to discuss her medical condition with them. Austin says a bunch of medical stuff, the gist of which is, Jordan’s numbers fell below benchmark for kidney disease. Curtis asks if he can say it in English, and TJ says, his mom is in renal failure.

Brook tells Maxie, that guy is so going to the wedding, and Maxie says she’s really not comfortable manipulating the good Samaritan who delivered her baby. Brook says, back up. That good Samaritan is the same guy who’s trying to get a piece of the ELQ pie, which her great-grandfather clearly didn’t want him to have. Maxie says Brook has a one-track mind. Is it really that terrible to leave Valentin in charge of ELQ, because from what she sees, he’s an effective CEO. He also thinks the sun rises and sets in his daughter Bailey. He’s going to be completely heartbroken when he finds out she’s not his. And now she’s letting Austin think she’s interested. Is ELQ really worth all this emotional devastation?

Peter has Nina backed up against the bar, and says, let’s try this again, shall we? Unlock her phone, and hand it over. She can thank Valentin’s obsession with her for the fact she’s still breathing. He snatches the phone from her, and says, no more games. She’s going to find out if Valentin knows where his daughter is. She says, Valentin is good, but he’s not infallible. She can’t make him know something he doesn’t. He says he’d try real hard, and looks at the phone, saying, there he is. Just so they’re clear, she’s on speaker, as of now. Valentin’s phone rings.

Valentin says, Nina, what a nice surprise, and she says she’s sorry to bother him, but she just can’t get Maxie off her mind, and how much she must miss Louise. He says, it’s awful, and she asks if he has any information about the baby or who might have taken her. He says, no. He and Anna have been investigating, but they’ve hit nothing but dead ends. She says she promises not to get Maxie’s hopes up. She just wants some reassurance. There must be some new information. He says they have nothing, and asks if she’s all right. She says she is. It’s just a little more rustic there than she’d like. He must love staying at the MetroCourt. He gets room service any time he likes. And so it goes. She tells him, goodbye, and Valentin looks at the phone, puzzled. Peter says, room service? What was she getting at? She says she had to make it sound natural. She couldn’t just ask about Louise and hang up. Phyllis comes in, and asks what brings Peter back to their neck of the woods?

Maxie tells Brook, so far, the plan is working. Brook is keeping Bailey/Louise safe from her maniac father, and taken good care of her. She owes Brook more than she can ever repay her, but her gratitude doesn’t make it a blank check.

Austin says Jordan’s situation is serious, but totally treatable. TJ asks if he’s talking about medication and diet, or something more aggressive. Austin says, all of the above. They want to attack it from all sides. He recommended a specialty clinic in Albany, and Jordan agreed to go. He’s making arrangements for transport. He leaves, and Molly hugs TJ.

On the phone, Jordan thanks Mac. She says, it means a lot. She can rest easier, knowing he’s got this. Portia comes in, and says Jordan is a thorough professional, but it’s time to put her health first. Jordan says she wanted to update Mac before her leave absence. It could be weeks. Portia says Jordan made the right choice. Austin’s treatment plan is sound. She’ll be back on the job in no time. Jordan says, thanks in part to Portia. She kept them both going in that basement. She was out of it, and fighting to stay conscious, but she could hear Portia talking to her.

Josslyn says, Spencer put Trina in an impossible situation. Trina says, looking back, she wishes she’d told Ava who Victor was, and what he really thought of her.

Ava tells Carly, maybe the stalker left Kiki’s badge to torment her. Maybe it was some kind of warning. Regardless, she can’t let Avery become collateral damage. Carly says she’ll take care of Avery until Ava comes back, and Ava thanks her, adding, that is the plan.

Anna says, that was Nina? and Valentin says, it was odd. She didn’t sound like herself. Her tone sounded forced. Anna says, she was asking about Maxie’s daughter; it’s not the happiest of subjects. Maybe she was over-compensating or something. He says, maybe, and she says he has he has very good instincts. What are they telling him? He says that he’d better call her back and make sure.

Nina tells Phyllis that Peter was giving her an update about the meeting he took in New York with the editor. Phyllis says, how exciting. Was it successful? Peter says, that remains to be seen. Nina’s phone rings, but he ignores the call, and puts it in his pocket. Phyllis says she’s sure he’s just being modest. He strikes her as a real go-getter. Nina says, they were just hashing out the plot points for the book Peter is pitching. It’s confidential, so if Phyllis woudn’t mind leaving… Phyllis says she can take a hint. She only came back to drop off Mike’s phone. They were supposed to go over the invoices for the construction supplies, but since Mike’s not there, she’ll grab it and look at it at home. She had no idea all this was being delivered. She takes out the gun from under the bar, asking if she can get them a cold one, but Peter says, no thanks. He has to keep his wits about him. Phyllis stands up, drawing the gun, but Peter grabs Nina, and has his own gun drawn. He says, see what he means?

Portia says she was just rambling in that basement, and Jordan says, when she talked about Trina’s father? Portia flashes back to being in the basement, and saying she needs to tell Trina the truth about her father. Jordan says she understands. She went through a similar situation with TJ. Portia says, she did? and Jordan says, sure. It was a careful and nuanced conversation when she explained about her life undercover; all the mistakes she made. TJ was angry at first, but Portia shouldn’t worry. Trina accepts that Taggert is only human, and if there are still past mistakes that need to be discussed, she’s sure Trina will understand… Did she get that all wrong? Portia says, no. That’s exactly right. TJ and Molly come in, and Portia says she should call Trina right now, and leaves. TJ asks how Jordan is feeling, and she says she’s fine. She asks if Molly will do her a favor, and Molly says, yes. She’ll look after TJ. Jordan says Molly read her mind, and Shawn comes in. He asks if it’s a private party, or can anyone join? Jordan says she’s sorry. She won’t be able to help him with his investigation, but he says, that’s the furthest thing from his mind. She needs to concentrate on getting better. She says, that’s definitely the plan.

Brook asks Maxie, who writes checks anymore? And what does that even mean? Maxie says, it means she’s not obligated to do Brook any inappropriate favors. Brook says she understands. The Quartermaine ways die hard; a little backstabbing there, a little manipulation there, nothing too serious. At least that’s what they tell themselves before things go sideways. She’s trying to do better. Maxie says, it’s hard to change old patterns of behavior, but she appreciates Brook trying.

Nikolas comes back, and Esme says they haven’t ordered yet, and excuses herself. Spencer tells Nikolas, it’s considered rude to go to the bathroom in the middle of a meal in France. I bet it’s ruder to go at the table. Nikolas says, they’re in Port Charles, but speaking of places Spencer used to live, what’s it going to take for him to come back to Windymere? Spencer says he’s not sure. What would that look like? Nikolas says, they’d have to figure it out. He’d like to try. Would Spencer like to take a chance? Spencer says he’s open to discussing it, especially since Doc keeps offering him muesli in the morning. Nikolas laughs, but it hurts. He says he’s going to go home to take an ice bath. Say goodbye to Esme. Today was fun. He hopes they do it again soon. Dinner is on him.

Curtis tells Jordan, so Albany, and she says she hears it’s a great city, especially for kidney issues. He sits on the bed, and says she’s not to worry about a thing. Whatever she needs, he’s got her. She says she won’t hang up on him if she gets the occasional phone call with one of his crazy stories. He tears up, and says she better not. He might have a few she hasn’t heard yet. A nurse comes in, and says, the medical transport team will be there shortly. Is now a good time to get her prepped? Jordan says, let’s do this. She and Curtis both have tears in their eyes.

Trina tells Josslyn, she can’t believe she let some guy make her question her own thought process. She admits maybe she shouldn’t have confronted Esme on a hunch, but… Josslyn says, no buts. Don’t second guess herself. If she thinks something’s off, it’s off. Trina thanks Josslyn for having her back, and Josslyn says, always. Sisters before misters. They hug, and Portia calls Trina. Trina says she’ll be right there, and tells Josslyn that Jordan and her mom were in some accident, and they’re at GH. Josslyn tells her, go, and she says she’ll try to be on time for the wedding, but Josslyn says, don’t worry.

Carly says she’s sorry Ava has to go through this alone, and Ava says, all she has left to do is tell Avery that she’ll be without her mother again. Carly says they can tell Avery that Ava is going on a trip, that is, if she wants Carly there. Ava says she does. When the times comes, she thinks it would be good if they told her together.

Peter tells Phyllis, drop the gun, and she says, drop his and she’ll consider it. He says she has guts, and she says she’s also a crack shot. Lenny took her to the firing range often. She tells Peter to let Nina breathe, and he lets up the pressure on Nina’s neck. Nina says, Mike is coming back for his phone. Let them go, and he can live to see his daughter. He says, his life isn’t the one she needs to be worried about. Not only did she betray him, it’s clear from her phone call to Valentin that’s she’s of no use to him, and she knows how he deals with his liabilities. Phyllis says she doesn’t care what his is about, but she does care about her friend. She won’t have Peter threatening Nina in the bar she and her husband built. He has to the count of ten to release her. He says she’s a smart woman, and a straight shooter in every sense of the word. He’s sure she knows he can squeeze off a shot before she takes him down. Nina yells for her to shoot him, but Phyllis says she can’t risk Nina’s life. She puts the gun on the bar, and he throws Nina to the floor. He says, too bad Phyllis came in when she did. He actually kind of likes her. He picks up Phyllis’s gun, and Nina coughs.

Maxie says, now that that’s settled, she needs to go to the Garden Court at Metro, and do a walk through. She’ll be too busy to care that she’s dateless. Austin clearly isn’t into her, and she probably has a polite text to look forward to, declining her invitation. Austin approaches, and says, in response to her earlier question, he’d love to be her plus one, if the offer still stands. He’ll call her after his shift, and they’ll sort out the details, since he much prefers a call to texting. He leaves, and Brook says, she’s not sayin’… Just sayin’.

Molly tells Jordan not to worry. She’ll even water Jordan’s plants. Jordan tells TJ that she’s going to be all right. Just know that. She’ll be in touch. The bed is wheeled past Curtis, who says, see you soon, Ash. She says, see you soon, and is wheeled out.

Josslyn finds Spencer at the MetroCourt, and says, hello, Spencer. Or should she call him Victor?

Ava thanks Carly for loving Avery, and taking care of her, but Carly says Ava doesn’t have to thank her. She would die for Avery. Ava says, that’s the only way she can leave Avery. As she’s about to go, and tells Carly, congratulations to her and Jason. She means that sincerely. She says, a new chance at happiness should never be taken for granted, and leaves.

Anna says, Nina didn’t pick up? and Valentin says, strange. Nina made a pointed remark that he lives at the MetroCourt. She knows he’s living at the Quartermaines’ now. Anna asks if maybe Nina forgot, but he says he doubts it. Before she signed off, she said, so it goes. That’s their song. He sang it for her at the Nurses Ball. He thinks it was a signal that Nina is in trouble, the kind where he needs to check on Nina. Anna says, let’s go. How soon can they get to Nixon Falls?

Phyllis and Nina sit side by side, and Nina tells Peter, just go; leave them in peace. The longer he’s there, the greater his chances of being discovered. He says he intends to leave, but they won’t be outside the Tan-O again. Phyllis takes Nina’s hand.

Tomorrow, Harmony knows trouble when she sees it, Alexis says it will never be forgiven or forgotten, Drew tells Chloe that it’s time to get out of there, and Sonny says, it sounds like a threat.

Below Deck Mediterranean

Katie tells Deloni Delaney that her attitude is good, and since she’s never been a stew, things aren’t going to be perfect, but the crew isn’t happy about the cabin arrangement. It’s causing her more stress than good. She feels terrible saying it, but when this trip is finished, they’ll say goodbye. Delaney, who still doesn’t seem to grasp the problem, says she’s done well, and Katie says, it’s not that. Delaney thinks they should consult with Captain Sandy, but Katie says she spoke with the captain this morning, and the decision was left up to her. Delaney doesn’t think the other stews will be happy, but Katie feels it’s better for the boat as a whole. Delaney says, Katie is the queen, and in charge of the department. She says it in a joking way, but I don’t think she’s joking. She says she did a good job, and Katie agrees. She suggests Delaney stay the night and come out with them. She can spend the night in a guest cabin. In Katie’s interview, she says she f***ed up. She made a mistake, but she’d been complaining that they needed more hands, and would have been an idiot not giving it a go. Delaney said she was a stew, and she wasn’t. She has to take some responsibility for what it came down to. Katie hugs Mathew, and says she feels bad. He says he would have fired Lexi. Me too. In Delaney’s interview, she says she doesn’t think it’s fair or what’s best for the yacht, but it’s not in her control. Katie tells Lexi that Delaney is leaving. She has a good attitude, and it’s not personal. She’s going stay the night, and come out with them. She deserves a night out.

Malia tells Lloyd to pull the tender around, and explains what to do. The guests look at the film from guest Danielle’s mayoral speech. Delaney says, it’s her last night, and Lexi says she’ll miss her. She was a big help. Delaney says the only reason she’s going is because of the cabins. Leaving out the fact that she lied like a rug on her resumé.  In Lexi’s interview, she says she feels bad for Delaney. Katie made a big deal about being stressed out. She tells Delaney that she’s sad to see her go. Mathew makes breakfast, and the boat heads to the dock. Katie tells Captain Sandy that she thinks Delaney understands. She has a great attitude. They’re going to celebrate tonight, and put her in the guest cabin, and Mathew can go back to his cabin. One of the guests says they think this is the prettiest coastline, and the captain asks, who’d like to drive the boat through the canal? In Malia’s interview, she says, Delaney wants to be on deck, so she wants to give her that. Malia tells David and Mzi to take the bow, and tells Delaney to be on the stern. Katie tells Courtney about Delaney leaving, and in Delaney’s interview, she says she’s excited to be outside. Malia explains how to throw the lines, and in her interview, she says she’s giving Delaney the stern, so she can be there just in case, and it gives Mzi the opportunity to be on the bow for the first time. I’m wondering if Delaney lied about being on deck as well, since she can’t seem to throw the line to save her life. Malia says, they’re being blown to port because they haven’t secured the lines. It’s a massive boat, and not safe to keep walking it over. Delaney finally gets the line on shore with her 50th try.

I’m not sure why, but we see the engine room. In Malia’s interview, she says Delaney surprised her. She was having a lot of trouble throwing the line, considering all the experience she said she had. No one lies like a green deckhand, and she doesn’t believe it until she sees them throw a line. Chief Officer Marten tells Captain Sandy that the steering column alarm went off. He thinks they might have caught a line. Malia says it was the worst docking ever, and in her interview, she says, when you hear that alarm, it could mean a line is caught in the rudder, and could do major damage. It could end their season. Malia explains to Delaney how a line should be thrown, and the guests’ luggage is brought out. The crew gets in their whites, and out on the dock. Guest Andrea says, although they were crazy ladies, all with different preferences, it was perfect every day. She thanks them for an amazing trip, and gives the captain the tip envelope. When the guests are gone, Captain Sandy tells the crew to get out of their whites, and into their reds, and meet for the tip meeting. Delaney thanks the captain for the experience, and says it was nice to meet her. The captain says Delaney has a great attitude, and is a team player. She appreciates that.

At the tip meeting, Captain Sandy tells Delaney that her attitude was beyond, and she’d be an asset to any boat. She stepped into a tight crew, which isn’t easy, but she did it with grace. Mathew says she gets to have fun now. The tips is $17,000, or $1300 each. In Mzi’s interview, he says, it would be great if Delaney wasn’t here. The captain says, the owner has given them the day off tomorrow. They’re going to have access to the water toys, then go to Krka Falls. She hopes Delaney will join them. In Mathew’s interview, he says he needs hand massages and rest. Courtney tries teaching the captain to twerk. In his interview, Mzi says Courtney is growing on him. When he has feelings for a girl, he likes to have flowers sent. He wants to ask her out old school. Captain Sandy tells Malia that they might have caught a ground line. That’s why she doesn’t like to walk the boat. They need to take a look. In Malia’s interview, she says, it’s a 900 ton vessel, and when it’s not secured, every second counts. One little thing can cause a chain reaction. Thank God Delaney was on the stern. If there had been a mistake on the bow, they could be f***ed for the rest of the season.

Malia scuba dives under the boat, and checks the rudder. Captain Sandy tells David to keep an eye on her. In Malia’s interview, she says she gets to dive in some awesome places. Underwater, it’s quiet; no one talks. Nothing was caught, but it’s always good to check. She tells the captain, there are no groundlines; it’s clear. The captain thanks her, and everybody gets ready to go out. At the restaurant, they take some pictures, and Courtney toasts to being fabulous. Mzi wonders how Lexi is going to behave, but Courtney says she doesn’t care. She and Katie support one another, and having just the two of them would make it easier than having four of them. Lexi badmouths everyone to Delaney, and Courtney says Katie did an amazing job. Katie runs around to the other side of the table to hug her. Malia wants David to make a speech, and David says, Katie is incredible. The first night, the chef had a sore knee… Lexi says, he left the effing boat; he quit the first night. David ignores this, and tells them, Mathew said he was injured. Lexi says, bullsh*t, and in his interview, Mathew says, her talking sh*t about him during David’s speech is bullsh*t. He tells her that David has the floor. Like this girl would care.

They toast to Mathew, and in Lexi’s interview, she says she sees what’s going on. Everyone is worshiping Mathew, and it’s so fake and apparent. Malia tells Delaney, sorry for calling her out on the dropped line, but don’t be afraid to be green. She saw some titles on Delaney’s resumé, and knows that on smaller boats they will call someone a Chief Officer when they’re not really. Delaney insists she was honest, but Malia says she put down that she was a stew when she’d had no experience. Delaney says she’s only been on super yachts for two years. In Malia’s interview, she says she doesn’t think Delaney took her advice. It’s like, yeah, thanks for the advice, and here’s fifty reasons why she did what she did. Good luck with the temp job. Mzi gets up, and Courtney says, Coco needs a dance. He twerks on her, then gives her a lap dance. Sort of, since he’s pretty drunk. She says she doesn’t know what’s happening. Her drink is everywhere. Lexi wants to get out of there. They leave, and go back to the boat.

Lloyd shows Malia how to dance, and Lexi says she’s hungry. She thinks she has a tape worm. She roots around in the galley for something to eat, while the others do shots. They get in the hot tub and dance. Lexi says, ooh, there’s chili, and pulls it out of the refrigerator. Courtney does her own mayoral campaign speech. Lexi spits the chili out, and says she wonders if chef knows what salt is. Here’s a hint, Lexi. I know nothing about cooking, but you don’t salt it until after you cook it. David dances with Delaney, and in his interview, he says, the guest cabin is looking good right now. David tries to jump out of the hot tub, and lands on his face. Ouch.

Katie asks if David is okay, and he says, no. He won’t be doing that again. He gets back in the hot tub, and Mathew asks if it was his knee. David goes downstairs, and Katie calls best friend Sophie. She says she’s sorry she couldn’t be there, then calls her mother, saying, Sophie is about to give birth, and she can’t be there. She gets all weepy, and her mother says, everyone makes choices. In Katie’s interview, she says she has a love/hate relationship with yachting. She loves it, which is why she’s been there so long, but her best friend is giving birth and she’s sacrificing being there with her. It’s bullsh*t on the boat. There’s so much more to life that this sh*t. Her mom says Katie’s been drinking. Just go to sleep. Katie says she misses everything, and is starting to question if it’s really worth it.

In the crew mess, Mathew laughs about Lexi radioing for Deloni, and Delaney responding with her correct name. He says Lexi is clueless. He’s heard her talking to herself, and it’s scary. Lexi says Mathew is scary in person, which is a really odd response, but no surprise. She says he is an amazing chef, and Mzi says, he’s an amazing human. What’s with the attitude? Mathew says, they don’t like each other, and Lexi says Mzi is flying in like Captain Save-a-Ho, which makes no sense whatsoever. Delaney announces that she has a cheetah onesie, and puts it on. She dances around, then lies on the floor, raising her legs, and balancing Lexi on her feet. Lloyd comes in, and wonders, WTF is going on? Courtney comes out in a matching cheetah onesie, so either Delaney had two of them, or this is some wildly odd coincidence. Courtney crawls around on the floor. None of this is my idea of a good time.

Mzi wants to send roses to Courtney, and asks Mathew for the provisioner’s number. Mathew points out that David is smashed, as David tries to lift Delaney on his feet, and fails miserably. Lloyd says, Malia isn’t game; might as well try for the fourth stew. Delaney lifts David, but he falls, and she says, goodnight. It’s 3 am, and she’s going to bed. Mzi orders the roses.

In David’s interview, he says he woke up sore. What would he say to drunk him? Don’t jump off sh*t. Malia says they’re going to be doing water sports, then changing and going to the waterfall. Delaney tries to wake up Lexi, but Lexi won’t budge. In her interview, Lexi says she was up at 6 am the previous day. She’d rather sleep than be cold and do water sports. The rest of the crew leaves, and they go out in a smaller boat to swim and use the water toys. In Katie’s interview, she says she needed this. It’s cleansing her soul… if she still has one at this point. David says Malia looks majestic on the hoverboard, and she promptly falls off. Lloyd asks Courtney about her feelings for Mzi, and she says they have a good friendship thing. In Lloyd’s interview, he says, there are roses coming, and the recipient doesn’t want them. He’s in a predicament about how to approach Mzi. He tells Courtney that he thinks Mzi has a few extra feelings, and asks if she could like him. She says, never say never; he’s an ace guy. Lloyd says, he’s a legend, when Mzi joins them. Courtney says, here he is; the man, the myth, and the legend. In Mzi’s interview, he says he’s nervous, anxious, excited, everything. Alcohol helps the situation. I think, probably not really.

Lexi says, sixteen days left, and Delaney says, she has one day left. Everyone gets changed, and Lloyd tells Mzi that he thinks no on the roses. They take a taxi to another boat, and Malia opens champagne. In her interview, she says she’s been to this waterfall before, in her first season. We flash back to that, and she says she won’t be the sous chef this time. The go to Krka National Park, where a guide takes them over a bridge to see amazing falls and rainbows. They take pictures, then walk over to the restaurant. Lexi tells the table, sixteen more days until she leaves. Delaney says she’d like to stay, but Mathew says she can’t unless Lexi leaves. He’s never disliked someone more. Courtney tells him to shut up, and Lexi says he doesn’t matter in her world. Malia asks if Lexi would like to change seats, but she’s not going anywhere. Mathew says she’s the worst person he’s ever met, and she says she doesn’t give a f***. He’s nobody. He’s a lowlife.

David comes over with a plate, trying to get Lexi to eat something, and she snaps at him not to put that in her face. Courtney asks how old they are. Sixteen? Enjoy the day. David brings Mathew to the other side of the table, and Mathew continues mumbling about Lexi. Courtney says, this is unnecessary; stop. Mathew says, no one likes Lexi. She has Miami guys who are so rich. Lexi says, that’s why Mathew is jealous. No one wants to join his sex orgy. In Katie’s interview, she says she’s not sorting this out. They’re not at work, and have to learn not to speak this way. Just walk away. Are you five? Courtney says, no one cares about Mathew’s thoughts, and Lexi tells him, STFU. There are cats everywhere, and Malia points out how cool they are. In her interview, she says she decided to hang out with the cats, since these people suck. They leave, walking up 10 million stairs. Mzi lies down at the top, and has to be half-carried to the taxi. In Delaney’s interview, she says she thinks she picked being friends with the wrong person. Lexi, David, and Mzi sleep in one of the taxis.

Delaney says, it’s her last night, and she wants to make it big. They arrive at another restaurant, and Delaney tries to wake Lexi up. Lexi asks what time it is, and Delaney says, time to party. Lexi says she’ll be there shortly; give her five minutes. In Malia’s interview, she says, maybe Lexi will sleep through the whole dinner, and they won’t have a huge fight. Mzi tells Courtney that he’s in a foul mood. Lexi sleeps for two hours, then wonders where she is. She toddles out and into the restaurant, and says, no one woke her up. A waiter comes out, carrying a bouquet, and asks who Courtney is. In Mzi’s interview, he just shakes his head. He tells Courtney, they’re from Maverick. In Courtney’s interview, she says, it’s so nice, but with everyone there, it’s so awkward. She thanks him, and says she loves him so much, which is probably a poor choice of words. Mathew says he wants to be cuddled while he sleeps. Delaney says a hug lowers your blood sugar and blood pressure. Mzi tries to get up, and falls on the ground getting out of his chair. Malia says, Mzi has left the group chat. Delaney starts yawning, and Mathew says he’ll pay for anyone but Lexi. In Katie’s interview, she says, it’s disgusting behavior, and Lexi says she Mathew. He says, no one there likes her, and Delaney says they were just talking about kindness. Lloyd is shaking, and Malia asks, what happened? He says his mental health took a battering. Sometimes he has to take a few moments to reset. Lexi calls Mathew a word we no longer use that starts with an R, and Mathew tells Lexi that his mom is a special ed teacher. She says his parents should have aborted him, and if they weren’t on camera, she’d smack his ass. The real bitch is out now.

There was no preview. They just jumped right to WWHL.

🍸 Rules Coming…

The new season of Vanderpump Rules begins September 28th. I had a hard time with the volume on the trailer, so good luck with that. It looks like Lala is enjoying motherhood, and Scheana is still crying.

🪁 And So I Go…

For whatever reason, there’s no RHONY tomorrow. Maybe they’re still editing the Reunion. So until we reconvene for some soap, stay safe, stay receptive to new ideas, and stay not violating any sisters before misters rules.
