June 4, 2024 – Ch-Ch-Changes, Jason Agrees To Do It Anna’s Way, Paddling Andy & Survive

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

👩🏽‍🔧 At present, there will be quickies on GH during the week to keep you caught up, and the full enchilada on Friday episodes for those who like to experience every word. Again, if there are any shows you want to read about or have any other suggestions, let me know. (Refer to the June 3rd blog for details on upcoming changes.)

General Hospital

Drew told Carly about the plans to run for congress. Carly promised him her vote if he runs.

John tried to hassle Sonny about the shooting, but Diane intervened. Sonny insisted on calling John Jagger, which I think suits him better. John said Sonny had taken advantage of someone who had brain damage (i.e. Jason) and he couldn’t wait to see Sonny behind bars for good. When John was gone, Diane admitted to Sonny that she thought he’d done it.

Jason wanted to tell John about Valentin being head of Pikeman, but Anna was like, no way. She told Jason that she had no hard proof, but he said he wanted out from the FBI and if he gave John the info, he could get away. She said if the FBI get what they wanted, they’d never let him go, so he agreed to wait until there was evidence. He wanted to go get the evidence himself from Valentin, but Anna said she’d be invited in – no need to break in – so she’d do it.

Finn discussed his drinking with Elizabeth. He told her that he had cut alcohol out of his life as a prevention, not because it was a problem, but he still kinda sorta promised not to drink.

Sonny told Carly about the shooting, and that both Diane and John thought it was him, but it wasn’t. He said he was still angry at Jason, but didn’t try to have Jason killed. He wanted Carly to relay that message to Jason, and Carly told him that Jason wasn’t his enemy. He knew it deep down or he wouldn’t have come to her. She said, if Sonny didn’t give a damn, he wouldn’t care what Jason thought, but Sonny said he wanted nothing to do with Jason anymore.

Chase talked to Brook about his father’s death and how he still picked up the phone to call him, even calling once just to hear Gregory’s voice. He was concerned about the future, but Brook said they were in this for the long haul and whatever happened, they’d stick together.

Jason said he didn’t have time to play the long game with Valentin, but Anna said the only way to get Valentin was for her to do it personally. She would, however, need back-up and needed it to be him. He agreed to do it her way.

Tomorrow: Finn wonders if fooling himself and Gregory’s memorial happens.

🤷‍♀️ What Did I Say…

Do an Elsa, Andy. Let it go. It’s not going to get any better.

⛅️ Throwing Off the Cold and Dark…

Until next time, stay safe, stay flying your Pride flag high, and stay doing it personally if you want to play the long game.
