What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Nathan prepares a candlelight dinner to make things up to Maxie. He wants them to have some alone time. He says it will be a while until dinner is ready, so they start to get busy. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Claudette, who apparently has radar. She says she knows they’re in there because she can smell dinner. Huh? How does she know they don’t have a crockpot? She’s brought Charlotte. She asks if she’s interrupting dinner…or something. She’s so annoying, I can’t stand it.

Anna is at the gym using a punching bag. Griff asks if she wants to talk. She says she thought it was over, that she could figure out a way to handle Julian’s release. She says innocent people are dying because of him, and because she didn’t’ do enough to keep him off the streets.

Tracy tells Finn about Lucy saying she should buy the hospital. She says if she had that kind of money, she wouldn’t be dealing with a board. He starts to cough, and she asks how he’s doing. Hayden pops in and seconds that.

Franco tells Elizabeth he thinks he has a way for GH to reopen. Elizabeth asks Franco to meet her at Kelly’s later.

Anna says Morgan is collateral damage in a hit intended for Julian. Sonny was out for blood and is responsible for the death of his own son, and she’s responsible too. She didn’t make anyone aware of what she suspected, and Morgan’s death is on her hands. Griff says no, but she tells him he can’t possibly know what she’s feeling right now.

Claudette tells Nathan that she was at the park and thought of something. She’s sorry for slowing down the process of Nathan and Maxie getting to know Charlotte. She asks if they’d like to look after her.

Finn asks to talk to Hayden alone. Tracy takes her martini to the terrace. Hayden asks what happened to Finn’s research breakthrough, and he says it was a bust. He ran a trial on himself and it didn’t work. She asks if he’s doing it in his hotel room and tells him he’s going to end up killing himself.

Claudette doesn’t want to drag Charlotte around to her meetings and interviews, so she thought Nathan and “his little friend” could spend some time with her. They’re hesitant, but agree. Claudette leaves and the smoke alarm goes off. Nathan runs to the kitchen.

Anna says every corner she comes to, she faces a mistake she’s made. Griff says there’s plenty of blame to dole out, but he hates hearing her say that it’s her burden. She says she owns her responsibility. Robert calls and she asks if Griff wants to have dinner later, but he begs off. She says they’ll talk tomorrow. She leaves and Griff punches the bag.

Finn says running clinical trials on himself is his only shot. Hayden says he looks tired and weak. He says he’s fine. Tracy cut him slack at GH, but he’s not going to find anywhere else where he’ll get the same treatment. Evan, the guy who sent Hayden the champagne, enters the restaurant, and Hayden introduces them. Evan is obviously a poser, and she tells him to get a table. Finn tells Hayden that Evan seems like a real winner. She tells him be careful with himself and joins Evan.

Elizabeth sees Laura and asks how Spencer is. Laura says he’s adjusting well being away from her, but she wishes she could do the same. Elizabeth asks about Dante and Lulu. Laura says they’re doing as well as they can. She tells Elizabeth that she’s made a decision. She’s going to sell Wyndemere.

Franco visits Heather. She wants to know what he’s been creating since GH shut down. He says he’s been distracted. She wants to know if he’s still hung up on Elizabeth. He says he is, but she’s thinking of moving to Rochester. Heather asks why, when Port Charles is so exciting? Ha-ha! Although it’s more exciting than where I live. He tells Heather that Elizabeth needs work since the hospital shut down. Heather says they caught the killer and put the nutjob away. He tells her not the one who attacked Bobbie and Lucas, and she says it’s a major bummer. He tells her that the police have no idea, but she does. She says she only knows what she reads in the papers. He says he has no idea how she did it, but he knows it was her.

Heather tells Franco besides his good looks, she knows they’re related because of their imaginations. He reminds her that she told him she’d done something to protect him when he was a suspect. She says all right, he got her. She injected Bobbie and Lucas, but they lived. She says she knew he’d be at the Nurses Ball and would have an alibi. He says it’s unbelievable. She says what’s unbelievable was Lucas forgetting his keys and coming back in; who does that? Franco says Lucas saved his mother’s life, and Heather says that it messed up hers. Franco knows that she did it out of maternal concern, but he needs her to do one more thing to prove that she loves him.

Elizabeth says she’s supportive of Laura selling. Laura says there’s very little cash on hand and Elizabeth says she’s sorry Laura feels pressured. Laura says if she sold just one property, she could preserve the rest of the Cassadine estate, and that’s what Nicholas would want. She says there’s also no way she’s living in the same house with a woman she can’t stand.

Evan talks…and talks…and talks. Tracy says she’s glad Finn hashed out his personal life. He says it was nothing personal. Tracy says she knows sparks when she sees them – and there are sparks. Finn calls Evan a tool, but not just because Hayden is on a date with him. Evan talks some more. He tells Hayden he looks over grant proposals and peaks her interest. They’re medical research grants.

Anna talks on her cell phone at the bar. Andre comes in. She tells him that Robert is exasperating. Andre says he thought they were the best of exes, and Anna says they are, when they’re not yelling at each other. Robert wants her to go back to work at the WSB.

Claudette goes to the gym and says she thought she’d find Griff there. She says it’s like Hell’s Kitchen all over again and goes down Memory Lane. He asks what she wants. She says she wants him. She’s figured out a way for them to be together.

Nathan, Maxie and Charlotte have pizza. There’s a knock at the door. It’s a delivery for Maxie – the DNA test results.

Heather says she’d do anything to prove how much she loves Franco. He says confess, and she tells him anything but that. He talks about GH staying shut and gives all the reasons why it should reopen. Heather says the only reason he wants it open is to date Elizabeth, and she’s upset at him choosing Elizabeth over her. If she confesses, she’s ll lose her privileges and there will be no more sneaking around. He says she gives him no choice and leaves with her calling after him not to go.

Laura tells Elizabeth sorry for leaving her sister with no place to live. Elizabeth says there’s no sibling relationship, and if Hayden ends up on the street, she’ll figure it out like she always does. She’s never met anyone so selfish.

Hayden tells Evan that she has a friend who is in dire need of a grant, and asks if he could expedite one. He says absolutely. She doesn’t know how to thank him and he says sure she does. Ugh! Double tool.

Tracy asks where Hayden met her tool, but Finn doesn’t want to talk about it, and suggests they talk about the hospital. Tracy says they’re not going to reopen unless whoever attacked Bobbie and Lucas is caught, and every day they’re closed, they’re hemorrhaging money. She tells Finn she knows he needs a place for his research, but all is not lost.

Anna says she’s not really entertaining the job offer, but she wanted to hear Robert out. He wants her to train new agents. Andre says that’s up her alley, but she says it’s in Geneva. She’d have to leave Port Charles. He asks if she’s going to take it.

Griff tells Claudette not to reminisce; there was never anything between them except lies. She says everything is out in the open now, and they can start over. He says he’s a priest, but she says his Holy Orders should be just a memory at this point. She tells him about leaving Charlotte at Nathan’s and has no reason to think it won’t work out. He asks if she plans on leaving Charlotte there permanently.

Maxie talks about the wedding, and Nathan asks if she’s okay. She say yes. He tells Charlotte not to touch stuff on Maxie’s desk, and picks up the test result envelope. He asks if she did this without asking him. Well that’s a stupid question.

Laura says it’s good to see Elizabeth out and about. Elizabeth says she dropped off some treats for Franco and he asked her to go to dinner. She thanks Laura for not jumping all over it. Laura says she knows what it’s like to fall for someone with a dark side. Elizabeth says people think she’s crazy, and Laura says her too. Laura tells her that if she feels the good outweighs the bad, then more power to her. Elizabeth hopes that the people closest to her see what she sees one day, or at least accept that she’s happy. Laura asks if she’s falling in love with him. Franco stands around the corner, listening.

Hayden asks Evan if he’s for real. He says he could say the same about her. She calls him disgusting and he says no more than she is. The date was going nowhere until he said he gave away money. She ends up throwing her martini in his face. She tells him that the next time a woman shows interest in his work, not to assume she’ll exchange sex for a favor.

Finn has a coughing jag.

Anna says her first impulse was to say no., but the long answer is more complicated. She says every time she turns a corner in Port Charles, she thinks about how she compromised herself, and doesn’t think that she has a purpose there. Andre says what about door number three? The Anna he knows would come up with another option.

Claudette tells Griff that Nathan can take care of Charlotte better than she can. She says he already loves her, and Charlotte is safer without Claudette drawing attention to her. She’s made mistake after mistake. Nathan is good person and Maxie is annoying, but a good mother. Claudette says the only time she was good was when she was with Griff. Don’t do it, Griff.

Nathan asks how Maxie could do this. She says the longer it drags out, the longer Claudette will manipulate everyone. She’s using Charlotte as a tool – a different kind than Evan. Nathan says she ran the test without his consent and knowledge, and throws it into the trash. He says when he runs one, it will be the right way. Maxie says she’s not letting it go, and opens the envelope, saying that he’ll thank her one day.

Anna tells Robert she’ll rejoin the bureau, but she has something in mind other than the teaching position.

Tracy tells Finn that he’s scaring her, but he says he’s fine.

Hayden tells Evan she’ll go along with it. He asks why he should after what she did. She tells him to take her someplace private and she’ll explain.

Laura asks if Elizabeth is in love with Franco, but they’re interrupted by a phone call. Laura has to go. Franco pretends to suddenly be walking by, and tells Elizabeth he thinks he has what he needs to get the hospital reopened. He shows her his phone. It has a recording on it.

Nathan is not Charlotte’s father.

Claudette says Griff makes her a good person. He says he can’t save her soul and isn’t sure he can save anyone. She says to let her save his then.

Tomorrow, Claudette asks Griff to run away with her, Hayden goes to Evan’s room, Ava says something will remain a mystery.

Below Deck

The crew is relaxing poolside at the resort. In his interview, Ben says that he’s getting older and should probably start taking relationships more seriously. he thinks it’s time to meet someone he can see himself with.

In her interview, Kate says that absence has made the heart grow fonder with her and Ro. Lauren is bummed because everyone is coupling up and she gets a friend in Nico. Emily talks to Sierra about Kelley being hot, but not her type, so it’s awkward. Kelley thinks she believes he’s a musclehead and Kyle tells him she’s very posh because of where she’s from. Emily questions Ben on how he feels about Kate dating a woman because she wouldn’t want to see someone she dated with some dude. Ben says he takes it as a compliment. Ha-ha!

Lots of PDA with Kate and Ro back on the boat.In her interview, Kate talks about how in the first few months of a relationship, you can’t get enough. Truth!

Captain Lee wants to make Kelley more proactive. He says he can’t just sit in the crew mess waiting for the captain to tell him what to do. He’s not impressed with someone who just does what they’re supposed to do; he’s impressed with someone who goes beyond. He tells Kelley that a good idea would be to find out what the guests want and stay a step ahead of them.

Ben tells Emily that Kate and Ro are a noisy couple. It’s time for Ro to leave and she compliments the dishes Ben has lined up and hugs him. In his interview, he says meeting Ro was odd, but he’s happy if Kate’s happy. Really. Lots of good-by kisses. Kate isn’t going to see Ro until the season is over and she calls it a “midpoint check-in.”

The dreaded slide is here. Nobody likes them. They’re big and cumbersome and hard to set up. Every crew curses the slide. Even Captain Lee curses it. He wants them to unfold it on the dock since there’s more room. The captain gives them instructions, and Kelley feels micromanaged.

Sierra talks to Kyle about how he got into yachting. In his interview, he says he falls in love quickly. He tells her about how much he loves fishing and food. She thinks he’s entertaining even if she can’t understand a word he’s saying.

Kate thinks Emily and Ben could be cute together. Kyle is going to MoneyGram and asks Sierra if she wants to come. He needs to send money back home for his daughter. He doesn’t have a relationship with the mother who he’d gotten pregnant on their first date. He says he’ll make sure she’ll never have to work again though. Wow. He doesn’t want to tell Sierra how old his baby momma is, because people think she’s too young for him.

The primary guests are Steve and Rachel, and they’re bringing along several other people. Kate thinks it looks like their photo is from Dancing with the Stars.Steve is in finance and intends to propose to his girlfriend the first night because it’s Valentine’s Day. Ben suggests doing it on the second night in case she says no. Captain Lee says it’s not his call, although they should have a contingency plan. Kate suggests lifeboats. She asks how the captain proposed and he blows the question off.

It’s Valentine’s Day and Kelley hints around to Emily, but she’s not receptive . The captain is disgusted that the crew left their garbage from last night’s dinner on the table. Emily tells Kate that no one has ever given her flowers. Kate tells Ben maybe he should get her some, and gives him suggestions. In her interview, Kate says Emily is perfect for Ben, especially with her English upbringing. The captain calls the crew to clean up their mess in the mess.

The flowers are delivered. They’re beautiful, a blue rose bouquet with one red one, but Ben is getting cold feet. The guests arrive and Ben runs with the flowers to put them on Emily’s bunk. The captain is annoyed that Ben isn’t on deck to greet the guests. He flies in at the last second.

The ladies all get small bouquets along with their champagne. Kate does the usual tour. Emily sees the display on her bunk. She’s very impressed. In her interview, she says it touched her heart and she can’t stop smiling.

Steve talks to Kate about his proposal. Sierra hugs Ben and thanks him. Kate acts surprised. Emily says she’ll be smiling all day, and Ben says that’s what he wanted. In her interview, Emily says a small gesture like that can change the way you feel about someone. Kate gets the ring from Steve’s luggage so she give it to one of the other guests to hold. She tries it on in the galley. It’s okay. It’s big, that’s for sure. Emily tells Sierra about Ben giving her flowers and they get giggly.

The tuna dish Ben makes is to die for. The guests say it tastes good too. Like I doubted that. The deckhands set up all the toys because Kelley is being proactive and thinks the guests will want them – without asking them. Lauren asks the guests if they want to get in the water while the other deckhands do pull-ups on the deck. The guests have decided on snorkeling.

Ben discusses the dinner with Emily. He’s thinking about a red velvet cake. The captain hears the deckhands messing with the pool. They have to pull it in for the guests to go snorkeling. Apparently, Kelley’s proactiveness went to far. Nico says Kelley’s hat is on backwards so that means he’s serious. The captain wonders how they can turn something so simple into a difficulty. He comes down to the deck and Kelley feels micromanaged again. Captain Lee says they don’t look like seasoned professionals and says Kelley needs more lessons in line handling. Finally, the guests get on the small boat to head out.

Sierra tells Emily that Kyle has a daughter. She says she’s not saying it puts her off, but it’s a lot of pressure. The guests snorkel and it’s amazingly beautiful under the water. Kelley says worst. day. ever. and wonders why everything backfires on him. Nico is annoyed that Kelley gets to go on a snorkeling trip while they get stuck finishing the pool job.

Emily chats with Kelley. In her interview, she doesn’t want to hurt him and says it’s a little awkward. Ben has never cooked a proposal dinner and it’s nerve wracking. He says imagine if she said no because he overcooked her steak, and I laugh. Kate says love is everywhere. Emily talks to Sierra about Kyle. She just wants to hang out and get to know each other.

Kate tells Ben he’s been affected by the love bug and he tells her to cut it out. The entree is filet mignon with some kind of corn thing and looks phenomenal. By the time dessert happens, Steve looks like he’s going to pass out. Kate says she’s scared, since this could go really good or really bad. Steve gets up and talks about how it’s been the best day of his life and how fortunate he is. He says he wants to keep the good times going and asks Rachel to marry him. He seems like a really nice guy and obviously loves her. She says yes and everyone cries. Kate says this day in their lives is gong to be talked about for a long time.

Sierra is going fishing with Kyle. She thought maybe Kelly and Emily would like to come along. The other deckhands listen at the door. Kyle is annoyed that Sierra wants to invite everyone since he thought of it as a date. Nico is annoyed that he and Lauren will have to work while the others go fishing.

There are rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed in Steve and Rachel’s cabin. They profess their love for one another. Sierra thinks Kyle might be expecting too much. She tells him she’s sorry and she thought the more the merrier. Nico thinks they should do it on their own time and gripes to Lauren.

Kate asks Ben what his dwarf mood is, and he tells her it’s Bashful. He says he feels like a young schoolgirl. What? Kate thinks it’s romantic and he should use that line on Emily. No, don’t. In his interview, Ben says it’s been many years since he asked an English rose out, if ever. Kate keeps making suggestions and he says while he appreciates it, he wants to just digest the idea.

Ben digests enough and talks to Kate on the deck. She’s convinced that Emily will say yes to the date, but Ben is doubtful. She gives him a pep talk. In her interview, she says she’s never seen Ben this way around any girl. Ben goes to the galley and asks Emily if she’d like to go to dinner. She says that would be lovely. Kelley and Kate listen in. Ben tells Kate the good news. She thinks it’s cute that he’s nervous and proud.

Nest time, Kate tells Sierra to give peace Kyle a chance, Ben and Emily go to dinner, and Kelley gets angry with Sierra.

October 11, 2016 – Morgan is Missing on GH, Randal & the Baby are Still Missing on ILYIW, & Two Guests Almost Go Missing on Below Deck

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Franco is getting some take-out food from The Floating Rib, and tries to con Nell into giving it to him for free. He tells her to put it on his tab and that he’s Jason Morgan. Nell says she knows Jason Morgan. Carly walks in and interjects that Franco is no Jason Morgan.

Sam stops by Elizabeth’s with a text book that Jake forgot. Elizabeth invites her in and asks how she’s doing with the pregnancy. Sam says she’s glad the first trimester is over. She says she’s happy that Elizabeth survived Paul’s attack, and Elizabeth says she’s one of the lucky ones.

Julian asks if anyone has spoken to whoever stole the car, or if they were crispy fried in the crash. An officer tells Dante there are no signs of his brother.

Sam tells Elizabeth she knows they’ll never be friends, but maybe they can try to get along better. Elizabeth says that Sam and Jason have to accept that Franco is part of her life.

Carly suggests that Nell google Franco (why isn’t she telling her to use Spyder-Finder?), but only if she has a strong stomach. She asks Nell what the problem is, and Nell tells her that he’s out of cash. Carly takes the bag out of his hands, but he tells her it’s for Elizabeth. He says once upon a time, Elizabeth gave Carly’s kid a kidney from her kid, and even if it turned out that it didn’t happen, it’s the thought that counts. Carly gives him back the bag and tells him to get out.

Dante says he wants updates every five minutes and tells the officer to get with the Coast Guard. Julian says it must have been Morgan who stole the car, and Dante says it was. Julian says there are no skid marks and that it was no accident; it was meant to happen, just not to Morgan. Dante tells him to shut up.

Jason tells Sonny there was an accident. He tells Sonny about TJ trying to stop Morgan from stealing the car and that Morgan was drunk. He talks about getting Morgan to pull over and how when Morgan got out, the car exploded. What was that Griff said about the sins of the fathers? Although Sonny did call it off. Someone besides Pete is going to get fired.

Julian walks into Ava’s place and he asks if they’re alone. She says they are, and he wants her to double the guard. He says they’re in trouble.

Sam says Elizabeth can’t expect her and Jason to give their blessing after all Franco has done. Elizabeth says she just doesn’t want them interfering. Sam says fine, but Franco will turn on her like he does everyone else. She tells Elizabeth to keep Franco out of her face, and Elizabeth says don’t turn around. Franco is in the doorway.

Carly says Franco’s google is pretty disturbing. Carly says she’s made some bad choices, but he was one of the worst. Nell asks about Elizabeth. Carly tells Nell about how they thought Josslyn had gotten Jake’s kidney. Carly says she’s not exactly welcome in some circles. Nell says there are plenty of awful people in Port Charles, but Carly isn’t one of them.

Ava says she doesn’t need protection. Julian says he does. Someone just tried to kill him.

Sonny comes running to the accident scene. Dante tells him there’s no trace of Morgan. Sonny thinks he got away. Jason says that when the car went over, Morgan did too. Dante says they’re searching for him. Maybe he’s off with Nicholas, sipping umbrella drinks on an island somewhere.

Franco asks if everything is okay, and Elizabeth tells him that Sam was dropping off a book for Jake. He asks if she wants to join them for take-out. Sam tells Franco to stay away from her and her son. Jake comes downstairs and asks why they’re fighting.

Carly tells Nell that when she was Nell’s age, she was a wrecking ball. She says she interfered in her mother’s marriage and hurt people she cared about, and probably others who didn’t deserve to be hurt. Nell says people are probably just jealous of her. They want what she has – respect, a great job, and a strong marriage. Nell says she has it all, and if she could be like Carly, it would be awesome.

Dante explains that when Morgan got out of the car, it went over the cliff. He says that they’re looking for Morgan in the water. Sonny wants to help. He takes his jacket off and goes down the hill. Dante tells Jason it wasn’t a vehicle malfunction or accident, it was a bomb in Julian’s car and Sonny put it there.

Ava asks if Julian is talking about a hit. Julian tells her about the car and says they need protection. Ava says she and Sonny have an understanding, and Julian says then at least he needs protection. Ava doesn’t think Sonny is that stupid. Julian tells her someone they know was driving the car. She says they don’t know any car thieves, do they? He tells her it was Morgan.

Elizabeth asks why Jake isn’t in bed and he says he heard them fighting about Franco. He asks why Sam doesn’t like him.

Ava says it’s not possible and Julian must be mistaken. Julian says Dante was at the scene and had confirmation. Ava says it doesn’t make any sense. She asks if they found his body, but Julian doesn’t think so, and says there’s no body to be found. Ava says Morgan can’t be dead. Julian says the bomb was meant to leave no doubt and incinerate whoever was in the car. He says Sonny killed his own son.

Dante tells Jason that Carrrlos killed Duke, Julian killed Carrrlos and almost killed Alexis, yet he’s walking around free. Sonny can’t look weak, because if you’re weak, you can’t protect your family. Jason doesn’t know what to say. Dante tells him don’t say anything, but wants him to understand what happened. Sonny tried to end the war with Julian and Morgan ended up a casualty.

Carly says she might not have it all, but she’s fought for what she has. She tells Nell that she’s meant for great things. Nell says all she ever wanted was to be a teacher and Carly tells her teachers change the world. Nell tells Carly to go home and she’ll finish up. Oh, I get it, she’s in love with the whole family.

An officer handcuffs Sonny to the car. Sonny begs to be released and Dante says okay. Sonny gets crabby with the officer. Dante tells him that they found something. Sonny asks if Morgan is okay, but Dante says they found remains enough for forensics to run a DNA test. Sonny says Morgan is a good swimmer, and Dante says the test is going to confirm what they already know – Morgan died in the explosion. Sonny looks over the cliff and screams Morgan’s name.

Jordan arrives and asks Dante what they know. He says everything indicates a bomb. She asks if someone was targeting his brother, but Dante says it was Julian’s car and Morgan stole it. Jordan is like ah-ha! Julian was the intended victim. Dante says Julian has a lot of enemies. Jordan asks where Sonny was, and Dante says at home.

At the same home, Carly calls Sonny, asking where he went. He’s with Jason right outside. Sonny says he wants to be alone for a while, and tells Jason to tell his family how much he loves them, and to protect them, because he couldn’t protect his son.

Ava looks sick and Julian asks if she’s okay. She says definitely not. She says she saw Morgan tonight. She wonders why he would steal Julian’s car. Julian says maybe it was a prank, but he doesn’t know what would be going through Morgan’s head, especially being drunk. He says Morgan had a natural chemical imbalance, and you don’t need to be a doctor to know not to mix psych drugs with alcohol. He says Sonny will probably find a way to blame him, and Ava flashes back to switching Morgan’s drugs. She says it was her fault.

Franco tells Jake that he hurt Sam. Jake says Franco is his friend and wouldn’t hurt anyone. Franco explains that they might be friends, but he and Sam won’t be. He says a long time ago, he wasn’t very nice. Jake asks why. Franco says at the time, he had something growing in his head that made him sick. Jake asks if it’s contagious and Franco tells him not to worry. Franco says he did bad things and he hurt Sam bad, because he told her the worst lie ever. Jake asks if he’s sorry and Franco says every minute of every day. He should have told them that, but figured it was useless because they were never going to forgive him. He says he tries to be a good guy now, because he wants everyone to know that he never wants to hurt anyone again. He just wants everyone to get along, because they’re not going anywhere. Sam watches and listens.

Jordan tells Dante she’s sorry and that Sonny isn’t the only one grieving tonight.

Jason stops to see Jake and wonders what Sam is doing there. Jake tells him that he smells and Jake says he needs a shower, but he’s glad to be there.

An officer gives Jordan something in a bag. It’s Morgan’s phone.

Sonny comes in, and Carly asks what happened. He says he was in the river and she needs to sit down. He says this is going to hurt. Again, she asks what happened. He says Morgan.

Julian asks how Morgan’s death could be Ava’s fault. She says she knew what was going on, and Julian says everyone did. He says the way Sonny set things up, it was either going to be him or Morgan, and he’s glad it wasn’t him. He leaves and Ava cries alone.

Jason tells Jake that it’s time for bed. He leaves with Sam. Franco asks if Jason just didn’t notice he was there. Elizabeth says something bad happened. Outside, Jason tells Sam he’ll tell her about it in the car, but he wants to go home and be with their son.

Ava drinks a martini and flashes back to Morgan drinking at the bar and her messing with his meds. She flashes back even further to their affair when he was practically in diapers. She gets raccoon eyes and sobs on the floor, asking what she’s done.

Carly asks if Morgan is okay. Sonny says he’s sorry and Carly says no. She says if something happened to her baby, she would know. She insists he’s okay. She’s going to call and he’s going to answer. Sonny says he’s dead. We see Carly argue with him through the window and they embrace as the phone rings.

Tomorrow, Carly says it’s just a dream, Kiki wants to end things with Morgan (that should be easy), and Sonny asks Jason if he thinks Sonny is the reason Morgan is dead.

If Loving You is Wrong

Alex hits a tree, but her crash isn’t nearly as bad as the one on GH. Although she is out in the middle of nowhere. She can’t find her phone and flames start shooting out of the cars hood. She tells it, “No, no, no, no, no, no,” but it’s not listening.

The cops spend more time at Randal’s house than any crime scene ever. Kelly calls Steve over. Marcie tells him that Brad had mud on his shoes. She says it’s nothing, but Steve says the police will be the judge of that. They spend time discussing Brad’s shoes. Marcie tells Steve about where Brad said he was, but Steve says the place closes earlier than Brad said he was there.

Steve leaves and Esperanza takes his place. She asks Marcie if she’s okay. Marcie says fine and runs inside. Esperanza has something to talk to Kelly about. Steve sees Eddie sitting in a patrol car and says he told Eddie to get to wherever Brad was before forensics gets there. Eddie has a bunch of why questions, but Steve says he’s too close to the people there and tells him to secure the other scene. I honestly don’t think Eddie would be a welcome employee anywhere, much less a police force.

Eddie stops one of the officers who says they have a suspect. Eddie pumps him for information saying their on the same team but the officer laughs, saying he’s heard about Eddie’s team. He tells Eddie that they have an eye witness and Brad is the suspect. Eddie is still annoyed that he actually has to work. Esperanza asks what he’s doing there. He says he’s an officer and she says he’s a disgrace. She asks what he and Brad did. Eddie says he has no idea what she’s talking about. She says Brad didn’t work alone. She tells him that Louise said Brad kidnapped Randal and the baby. Eddie says Brad is his boy. Esperanza says he could go to jail and what about Brad’s kids? She says if something happens to the baby and he has something to do with it… She doesn’t finish, but tells him that she hates him. The only one who doesn’t hate Eddie is Eddie.

No surprise, Eddie calls Brad. Brad says it’s late. Eddie says not too late for Brad, and tells him to get out of there. He tells Brad to meet him at a certain corner. Brad doesn’t understand what’s going on, and Eddie says the cops are coming to arrest him. Eddie asks where Randal and the baby are, but Brad doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Eddie spells it out for him and tells him that he should have conferred with Eddie first. Brad asks if Eddie is high. He says Alex and Marcie have been blowing up his phone, and Marcie hit him in the head with a bottle. All of a sudden, the light bulb comes on and he tells Eddie he didn’t do anything. Eddie tells him that’s very believable and to keep it. He asks where the bodies are and Brad says he really doesn’t know anything and he’s not meeting him. Brad hangs up. Do we still say “hanging up” today? Or is it clicking off?

Brad calls Marcie. Kelly and Esperanza tell her not to answer. Marcie feels sick and runs to the bathroom. Don’t tell me she’s pregnant. Esperanza says this is a nightmare. She notices 39 missed phone calls from Travis on Kelly’s phone. Kelly says he got aggressive with her. He was mad because she slept with him and kicked him out. She says he won’t stop calling and leaving crazy messages, and he’s been circling the house. She plays some of the messages for Esperanza. Yep, they’re crazy. Esperanza says it’s scary, and she didn’t see this coming from Travis. Kelly says neither did she. They agree he sounds possessed. Kelly thinks he’ll calm down.

Esperanza brings up Travis being engaged to someone else. She suggests Kelly call the authorities. She says she’s had enough crazy ass men in her life to know, but Kelly insists it will blow over. Esperanza makes her promise to call the police if it doesn’t. Kelly reminds Esperanza that she wanted to talk to her about something, but Esperanza says they’ll talk about it later.

Joey’s probabtion officer, Hardy, asks Natalie how Joey is doing. Natalie says they don’t know yet and introduces him to Lushion. Lushion takes him aside and asks if it’s necessary that he be there. Hardy says witnesses said Joey had a gun and that’s a probation violation. Lushion says they don’t know if he’s going to make it through the night. Hardy is more like heartless and says he’ll just talk to Natalie, but Lushion says if he’s going to talk, he talks to Lushion. He gives Hardy his card. Hardy tells Natalie he hopes Joey gets better and leaves.

Natalie asks if Hardy wanted to take Joey to jail. Lushion tells her worry about Joey right now. Natalie says Hardy flirts with her all the time and questions if he was really there for Joey. She wonders about the gun, and Lushion says it was registered to Mr. Kim. Quan was going to rob Faun. Natalie is surprised her father let her make the deposits, and wonders how she’s doing. Natalie says she’d told Joey to always comply with cops and instead of protesting the cops, they should protest the ignorant asses who walk among them.

Ben tries to do some actual work and Julius calls. He wonders how Julius got the number and asks what Julius wants. Julius says Ben hasn’t called, and Ben says he’s been busy. Julius asks if he’s too busy for pure Colombian. Ben says he’s not sure if he should be talking to him. Julius says Ben already knows the answer. Ben says he’s intrigued, but Eddie is all over him. Julius says like a boyfriend? and Ben is like, hell no, but Eddie is out of control, freaking out when Ben isn’t at his beck and call. Julius says like a jealous boyfriend and what’s up with Ben? but Ben says he has a girlfriend. Julius asks if Ben wants to change his life and says he’s the man to do it. He says he doesn’t beg, he just moves on and can find someone else. Ben says he can do this. Julius says he wants Ben and Ben is like, what do you mean? and Julius says he wants him on his team. He doesn’t want to have to call Ben again.

Eddie looms over Ben who says it’s his girlfriend on the phone. He calls Julius “honey” and Julius says this is some weird stuff. You’re tellin’ me. Eddie tells him get off the phone and get him some coffee from the coffee shop – the low fat vanilla latte he likes. He says pick up his dry cleaning too, and no whipped cream. When he’s not pissing me off, Eddie cracks me up.

Kelly gets a call from her ex’s mother, Diane. She says if Kelly doesn’t want to talk to her son, she needs to tell him. She says it’s Kelly’s ass that should be in jail. Her son took the fall so Kelly could raise their nappy headed kid. Kelly is like, whoa there, and Diane tells Kelly she’d better talk to her son or she’s going to the police.

Alex tries to flag down more cars than should be on this road. A truck slows down. She asks for help. The driver, who looks like one of the Duck Dynasty guys, tells her to hop in. He’s not going as far as she is, but she asks him to take her as far as he can. He tells her she shouldn’t be out on the road like this. She tells him that she wrecked her car, and he asks if she’s all right. She says she will be, and he asks if she called the law. She says her phone is in the car and he asks if she wants to use his. She says the car is totaled. He introduces himself as Carl and says she’s pretty. Not surprisingly, this makes her nervous, but he tells her that he wouldn’t want his daughter out at night, and talks about how many lowlifes live around there. He wonders who she knows in town and she says she grew up there. He wishes he could take her all the way, but can’t be late with his delivery. He asks if she likes Christian music and puts on the radio.

Marcie cries in the bathroom. Esperanza asks her to come out and talk. Kelly tells Esperanza that Marcie isn’t all right. Esperanza says the worst part of the whole thing is that she’s still in love with Randal. Agreed. She says they can’t get away from it, no matter how hard they try, and I guess she’s referring to herself with Eddie as well. Kelly wants to know what Esperanza had to say. She says Joey got shot and they don’t know if he’s going to be okay. Kelly wonders what’s happening tonight. Esperanza says she doesn’t want to imagine being in Natalie’s position. Kelly wants to call her, but Esperanza says give her a moment. Esperanza asks Marcie to come out again, but she repeats that she’s fine.

Kelly says think about how Alex feels and that Brad has taken it too far this time. Esperanza asks if they’re sure. Kelly reminds her of Brad being stupid at the hospital, but Esperanza thinks something isn’t right. She doesn’t believe Brad would kidnap anyone.

Brad calls Marcie. She asks why he’s calling her. He says Eddie called asking if he’d kidnapped Randal and the baby. He says he’d never do that; it would be insane. He’s put two and two together about her hitting him and says he was trying to kiss her, not attack her. She says explain the mud on his shoes and why it was red. He says there was new construction and he walked across the pavilion. She doesn’t believe him. He says she knows he wouldn’t do anything like that, but she says not really. He can’t think of anything he can do to make he believe otherwise. She says the baby is innocent in all of this. Brad says he believes Marcie thinks he did it. The police knock on Brad’s door. He asks Marcie not to hang up, but she does.

The police ask to come in. Ha-ha! It’s Steve because no one else really works. He tells the officers to search the place and Brad asks if they have a warrant. Steve tells him they’ve been given permission by his roommate. He arrests Brad and suggests Brad tell them everything. Oh sure, go right ahead, without a lawyer.

Next time, Ben gets hospital duty, Eddie threatens Lushion and attacks Ben, and Julius wants Ben on his team. Are we ever going to see Randal again? Are they recasting him?? Did contract negotiations not go well???

Below Deck

New deckhand Kyle has dislocated his shoulder. Lauren resets it. The pool is set up and the guests get in the water. We suddenly see Barry, the first officer, who must be hiding all of the time. Somehow things get out of control, and a couple of guests get thrown off of a water toy, nearly colliding with the boat pulling them. They’re fine. And probably too drunk to care. The crew is a little shaky though.

Captain Lee tries to call just about everyone and no one is answering their radios. He asks if anyone is on service. He tells Sierra to make a batch of painkillers immediately. She thinks he means ibuprofen, but he means the drink. He ends up having to help her.

The captain wants to get into calmer waters and hunts for Kelley. He’s getting more annoyed about no one responding. He finds Kelley’s radio unattended. Kelley claims he was in the bathroom, but Captain Lee says he should bring it with him. Ben jokes to Kate that the captain is worried about his creme brulee, so he’s moving the yacht. Kate wonders what happened while she was on break, and Ben tells her nothing much, just a couple of the guests almost dying. Captain Lee isn’t thrilled with the deckhands not being at the top of their game and looking like Larry, Moe and Curly.

Kate says the guests are drinking at a rate that impresses and scares her. Ben thinks Kate is texting Ro too much, and should be dealing with the job at hand. I don’t know if he’s making a joke or not. The guests are having a white party this evening, and Kate is psyched. She’s turning it into a White Rabbit party. Kelley wonders how long it will take for Kyle to realize that Sierra is nuts.

Kate tells Ben she doesn’t know if the guests will notice or care what time dinner is. Ben thinks it would be interesting if he took an Ambien before dinner. Lauren tells Sierra that Kyle is obsessed with her, and Sierra says she’s kind of into his ruggedness. Captain Lee thinks Kelley should know what he expects and be doing better and bigger things at this point.

The stews make up cute little Alice in Wonderland themed trays with “drink me” and “eat me” stuff on them to lead the guests to dinner. Kate and Ben get into an argument. He says he doesn’t have the luxuries she does and needs to know when dinner is early on. Kate says in Ben’s world he tells the guests when to eat, but she prefers the guests enjoy their very expensive vacation. The stews wear bunny ears and fluffy tails, but it’s White Rabbity, not Playboy.

As usual, dinner is amazing and the creme brulee comes out fine, the guests thinking it’s the best thing ever. Ben checks out Kate’s phone and tells Lauren that he doesn’t know about this Ro character.

Kate wonders when the guests are finally going to pass out, and tells Emily if they ask for more Irish coffee to give them decaf. Kate talks to Ro, telling her that the guests are wasted and in the Jacuzzi. Ro wanted to come visit, but says she won’t be able to make it. The guests barely get themselves to their rooms.

Captain Lee notices the yacht windows are filthy. He’s going to chew on somebody’s ass, and Kelley is the one. He says if Kelley doesn’t start performing the way he should, he’ll have to babysit him the whole season. He asks Kelley why no one is dealing with the windows. Kelley says it’s on the inside and that’s for interior to handle. The Captain isn’t having it and Kelley feels like he gets picked on for Kate’s responsibilities. The captain says Kelley has been wallowing in self-pity for two days. He shows Kelley that it’s not all on the inside and Kelley says okay, he’ll deal with it. In his interview, Kelley says the captain is terrified of Kate, but I find that doubtful. Kelley gets the deckhands together and the windows are cleaned.

Miraculously, the guests are up. OMG THE BREAKFAST! The Captain tells Kelley he has more responsibility now and he wants Kelley to see what he sees. Lauren is selected to bring the anchor up by herself. As with those before her, the captain doesn’t understand her hand signals. The captain says it’s just a learning experience, but Lauren calls it bullshit. She complains to Kelley that she has no experience. She complains that he didn’t have her back, but Kelley says he did everything he could and he’s in the hot seat. He tells her that he’ll always have her back.

It’s time to dock. The guests squeeze in a final cocktail and Captain Lee gets a fat envelope. The captain thanks the crew and says the radios are still a pet peeve and everyone better get it together with that. The tip is $15,000, or $1,350 each. Kate says it was like a really good one-night stand. Captain Lee says he has good news bad news. The bad news is that the hated slide has arrived, but the good news is that the crew has a resort to themselves the next day, thanks to a friend of the captain’s. He asks them to stay on the boat tonight, but they can crawl into a bottle of rum tomorrow if hey want.

The crew gets ready to go to ashore to Scrub Island, and here comes Ro. Nico is disappointed that she’s so good looking. Kate is super surprised. She says she’s happy, but also freaking out. Ben is fascinated watching them kiss. He says Ro knows that he and Kate have a history and it’s making him nervous. Kate gives Ro a tour of the boat and they make out. She introduces Ro to the others. Ben says it looks like Ro just crawled out of a fallout shelter in Moscow because she’s dark on dark on dark. Everyone takes a boat to the mainland.

Ben says it’s funny to finally place a face to the laugh he hears every night on Kate’s phone. The crew hangs around the pool and drinks. Ben blatantly stares at Kate and Ro kissing. Kelley flirts with Emily, but she finds him too touchy feely. In his interview, Kelley says it’s all small signals and he’s going to sweep Emily off he feet before she knows what hit her. Um…you might be the one in for a surprise, Kelley.

Kyle and Sierra argue over the loaves and the fishes. Sierra thinks that Jesus turned loaves into fishes, and Kyle has to correct her. Kyle tells Sierra she’s stunning and Sierra says he’s cool. In his interview, Kelley thinks Sierra is a lunatic. Kate says Ro is a retired professional athlete, but still has the same commitment to physical endurance and excellence.

Next time, it’s Valentine’s Day, Kelley makes Emily feel awkward (it’s not the first time he’s done that to a woman), and Captain Lee wants Kelley to be proactive.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Carly asks Sonny if he’s sure the call he took is from the warehouse. He says she’s been giving him the cold shoulder, so what’s up? She wants to know if he’s lying to her. He says he already told her that if anything happens to Julian, it won’t have anything to do with him.

Ava finds Scotty in a dive bar. She says he was supposed to pick her up on the way to court. She wonders if he’s going back on his promise to represent Paul. Scotty says it’s not like Paul is going anywhere.

Jordan visits Paul in his cell. She wanted to see him in custody with her own eyes. She says when she’s done with him, he’s going to wish he’d spent the morning alone.

Claudette sees Griff at the diner. He wants to know about the man she’s been trying to get away from.

Nathan confirms that Valentin is still in prison. He tells Maxie that he can see his daughter now.

Curtis tells Nina he’s not having much luck finding a baby for her. She says she has another great idea. She’s not just thinking outside the box, but outside the country, and wants to make a child’s life better. Curtis says she can’t just swoop in like Angelina Jolie. Nina says she’s not trying to, but their motives are the same. She tells Curtis that kids are dying in camps and she wants him to broker a deal.

Nell works her cell phone at the bar, trying to score Shawn Mendes tickets for Carly to surprise Josslyn with on her birthday. She finally has success and Kiki says no wonder Carly hired her. Kiki sees Michael and calls him over to tell him the good news, but he’s bummed about Paul being the one who murdered Sabrrrina.

Carly tells Sonny there’s a difference between telling the literal truth and being honest. Are we talking about a sin of omission here? Morgan comes downstairs and Sonny asks what happened to him.

Jordan says Paul was so annoyed at his own incompetence and inability to protect someone he loved, he took it out on innocent people. She tells him that he’s the worst kind of bully. Jordan leaves, and Scotty and Ava come in through the revolving guest door at the jail.

Griff says there have already been too many secrets and Claudette tells him the man is Valentin Cassadine. He asks how she got mixed up with him.

Maxie says Nathan might be jumping the gun. She says they only have Claudette’s word that the hair was from her daughter. Nathan says he can double-check once Charlotte gets there.

Morgan says he was cramming with some guys. Carly asks why he smells like smoke and he says one of the other guys smokes. Yeah, that’s what I used to tell my father too. He goes to take a shower and Carly asks Sonny how much studying he thinks they did. Sonny says none. Sonny gets a call and it’s the dean telling him that Morgan was expelled. Sonny tells the dean that if Morgan did something to break the rules, he has to face the consequences, but thanks him for his help. Sonny tells Carly about Morgan getting caught cheating. Morgan comes back downstairs and Sonny yells at him, asking when he was going to tell them he was expelled.

Curtis says Nina can’t buy a foreign baby. Nina says he knows the baby will be the most precious thing to her. He says he has a sliding scale when it comes to right and wrong, but this is wrong. Nina says she turned Crimson around with her ideas and she’ll handle this too.

Michael says he can’t wrap his head around this right now, using an incredibly dated expression for one so young. Kiki goes into the hallway to call Dillon. Nell asks Michael what he’s going to do.

Ava tells Paul that Scotty is his representation, and Scotty says he’ll represent anyone for a price. He’ll do everything in his power to get Paul a not guilty verdict. He says he did get Julian off. Paul doesn’t question his legal prowess, but doesn’t need his skills. He already has a a lawyer.

Nathan tells Maxie that he’s definitely going to double-check the paternity, but he doesn’t want Charlotte to get hurt. He remembers all the changes he went through when he found out that Madelyn wasn’t his mother. He says if Charlotte is his daughter, he wants her to know she’s loved and wanted. Maxie says he’s so good with Georgie, he’s going to make a great dad. Nathan tells her he loves and appreciates her. They kiss. She suggests they take it to the bedroom, but Nina comes in saying they need to talk.

Claudette tells Griff that when Charlotte was born, she was completely overwhelmed. She got a neighbor to babysit and put on her high heels and slinkiest dress and went out to a nightclub. She felt like her old self again, walking past the velvet rope and right into the club. She tripped going in and suddenly a handsome man was carrying her. He didn’t leave her side all night, and the champagne kept flowing. The next day, there were photos of them in the paper, calling him her knight in shining armor. She says they weren’t wrong, but Valentin changed. Okay, let me stop here. No one even knew Valentin existed until five minutes ago, yet he was on the society pages of a New York City paper? Okay.

Maxie tells Nathan to remind her to get her spare key back. Nina wants Maxie’s wedding planner so they can get a move on. Nina suggest they get a helicopter to fly overhead, so it’s like a celebrity wedding with paparazzi. Maxie says they haven’t done too much planning, since they have other things on their minds. Nina wants to know what.

Charlotte says Valentin went from attentive to suffocating to controlling. He wasn’t physically abusive, but could intimidate her with a look or a gesture. When she tried to leave he told her he’d kill her and her daughter. And her little dog too.

Curtis sees Jordan at the station. He gives her a lottery ticket. He reminds her of when they were partners, and when one of them had a victory or win, the other bought them a lottery ticket. Jordan says he was the one who made the original observation that it was probably someone right under their noses, and it was good police work. He asks if that will get him back on the force.

Paul wants the best lawyer he knows – himself. We know what they say about that. Ava tells Scotty he can leave. Scotty tells Paul he’ll be having his stuff moved into Paul’s old office today, and to enjoy the prison cuisine. He leaves and Paul says he knows a bribe when he sees one. He asks Ava what she really wants.

Morgan asks how Sonny found out. Sonny says the dean called, apologizing that he couldn’t do anything. Morgan says he had a paper due and couldn’t concentrate. He knew how much trouble they went through to get him into school, and didn’t want them to know he screwed up. He says the meds and sessions aren’t working. Sonny says it takes time, but Morgan explodes, saying he’s never going to get better and they might as well accept the fact that he’s always going to be like this. He storms out and Sonny tells Carly to let him go.

Claudette tells Griff that she had to find Nathan because their daughter was in danger. She says Valentin said if she told anyone, he’d kill them. She says she knew deep down that Nathan was Charlotte’s father, but she wishes Charlotte was their daughter.

Nathan tells Nina about Charlotte. Nina says she can’t believe it, and he’d be the best father ever. Nathan says Claudette got involved with a criminal and had reason to hide her. He says he found out the guy is in prison, so he can see Charlotte now. Nina says, then what?

Michael tells Nell that Teddy’s life was flipped upside down because of Paul. Nell says she can’t imagine why he did it, but tells Michael to take comfort in that Paul was caught and he’ll pay for what he did

Ava wants the flash drive. She says she’s offering Paul his freedom in exchange for hers. Paul says what if he didn’t get acquitted; how fair would that be? Ava says he did things to protect his daughter and she’s done questionable things to protect hers. If she goes to jail, who’s going to protect them? What I’m wondering is why does he even need the flash drive at this point?

Jordan tells Curtis that it’s the details that are important. During a sting, he took off to score. A case was blown because he was using. He says it was only surveillance and nothing was supposed to go down, and he screwed up. They were supposed to be partners, but she turned him in.

Carly says Andre told her Morgan has been showing up for all his sessions and he’s been scheduled for blood work. Sonny thinks a piece is missing. He says maybe Morgan wasn’t ready for school. Carly says what if he’s never ready? Sonny tells her that just because Morgan’s bipolar is taking longer to deal with than his, doesn’t mean it can’t be fixed; he just needs more time. Carly says she thought things were going better, but he’s not even out of the woods yet.

Kiki leaves a message for Dillon. Morgan hears her and says she has time for Dillon, but didn’t for him last night. Kiki asks what his problem is. He says his girlfriend is calling another guy, but couldn’t be bothered with him. She asks if he knows that Dillon’s father is the hospital killer. She says she called Morgan back after her shift but he didn’t call her. He tells her he was kicked out of school.

Sonny tells Carly there’s nothing worse than watching your kid be in pain, but he knows from experience that Morgan has to do the work himself. He says Morgan will get through it, because they’ll be beside him every step of the way. It will just take time. Carly knows he’s right, but it’s killing her to watch him struggle. He promises that Morgan will have a healthy happy life.

Nathan says now that he knows Charlotte is his daughter, he’s never taking his eyes off of her. Nina asks if Charlotte is going to live with them, and Nathan says yes. Maxie says Claudette might have something to say about that, and Nathan says joint custody then Nina tells him a child can put a strain on the relationship, and he should think about it, but she has a perfect solution. Yep. Smelled this coming.

Claudette says the love she had for Griff wasn’t a sin and she isn’t a terrible person. He doesn’t think she’s a terrible person, but he makes terrible decisions.

Jordan doesn’t regret turning Curtis in. He says for one mistake, and asks if her career couldn’t absorb one mess up. She says she tried everything to get him to quit and nothing worked  She wasn’t worried about her career, but his life, and the lives of those around him. She says all they were gong to do was put him on suspension while he went to rehab, but he wouldn’t play ball. He says she did it for his own good then?

Paul says he lost himself in trying to make things right for Susan. Ava doesn’t condone his actions, but she understands his motives. He says he was a bully, nothing more, and deserves to be punished. He says it’s almost a relief, and he thinks the same might be true for her.

Michael talks to Nell about Julian getting acquitted. She says but he was prosecuted by Paul, another criminal. Michael says what’s to stop the next DA from letting Paul go? He says everyone was pursuing their own interests, and now it’s his turn.

Jordan says all she wanted was for Curtis to get straight and get back on the job. He says he’s been clean for years, but she says she doesn’t trust him. He tells her that he’s not the same man. She asks how he knows that. He tells her apparently she can’t see it, so play the lottery ticket before her luck runs out.

Claudette tells Griff that it’s time for Nathan to meet Charlotte.

Nina says she’ll take Charlotte.

Kiki asks Morgan what happened. He says he was going to tell her last night, but she didn’t have time. He adds that she’s looking at him like his mom does. He tells her to save her sympathy for someone who needs it.

Michael tells Nell that he’s going to get justice for Sabrrrina and leaves. Nell calls Sonny. She tells him that Michael was upset about Paul, and she’s afraid of what he might do.

Ava says Paul’s mission is accomplished; his daughter is safe, but hers are vulnerable. He says they’re convenient for her. She plays the mommy card to justify murder. She says if he ever cared about her, don’t do this; don’t send her to prison. Jordan comes in and says his arraignment is scheduled. Paul says he has to tell her something.

At the end, there’s a tribute to Agnes Nixon, the creator of One Life to Live, All My Children and Loving, who recently passed away. When I was a little girl and learning soap life at my Aunt Mary’s knee, I wrote to Ms. Nixon. One Life to Live had a plotline about drug addiction where they were using actual recovering addicts. I was impressed by it, and thought it would also help others, and I told her so. This kind lady wrote me back, thanking me and saying a little something. Alas, I no longer have the letter, but the fact that she took the time to write back to me has always stayed with me, and gives you a glimpse into her character.

Tomorrow, Sonny tells Michael not to throw everything away for Paul, Ned comes back, and Andre asks Morgan if there’s a good reason he’s risking his life.

If Loving You is Wrong

Marcie cracks a bottle over Brad’s head. His ear is bleeding and he asks why she did this. She grabs a big kitchen knife and he asks what he did. She asks him what he did. She tells him to back up, grabs her bag, and leaves. Brad keeps yelling, what’s happening? and holds a paper towel to his head.

Lushion is still at the hospital with Natalie. Esperanza dashes in and Lushion tells her Joey was in a shootout with some thug. He’s going to get something to calm Natalie down. Natalie tells Esperanza the hospital isn’t telling her anything. She says they’re trying to stabilize Joey so they can ship him somewhere else. She says she told him to stay away from the corner. She says Joey had a gun and violated his probation, so if he recovers, he’s going to jail. Esperanza tells her it’s going to be okay. Natalie says it’s not, and Joey’s father should be helping her. Joey is a man-child whose been raised in the ghetto. She says she tried, but she couldn’t do it. She starts to freak out and Lushion comes running over. He gives her something from the nurse, but she says she doesn’t want to be numb, she wants to be angry. Pulling herself together, she says she was so young when she got pregnant and made so many mistakes. Things she would never do with the other kids, and she wishes she knew then what she knows now. You and me both, sista.

She goes on about the things she tried to teach Joey. She says she was worried about him being shot by a policeman like Eddie, but he was shot by a thug on the block. She tells Lushion she’s tired. He says he’s there and gives her the medication. He says he knows she’s tired and angry, but he’s there, so lean on him. Natalie tells him to promise Joey will pull through. Lushion says he promises they love him and that they’ll pray for him. He promises that Joey has a fight in him that he got from her, and he loves the both of them. He promises no matter what happens, he’ll be there for them. Lushion is the best. Natalie takes the medication. He wipes the tears from her face. Esperanza thanks him for being the man that he is. She has to leave, but says she’ll be back. She tells Lushion she’ll text him about some other stuff later. Damn. They almost had me crying.

Scumbag Eddie goes to Ben’s desk and asks him if he went through the database. Ben says if Eddie doesn’t think he did a good job, go look for himself. Eddie says Ben f-ed up and I go, wait a second, can you say that on this station? Or did someone just f-up? Eddie grabs Ben’s injured hand and tells him to look again. Ben says Andrew is watching everything. Eddie says he’s got this and tells Andrew to get over here. He says Andrew has a call. Andrew says no he doesn’t. Eddie tells him to look at his monitor. He points out some bogus thing on Ben’s monitor. He asks if Andrew is cut out for this job, since he didn’t notice it.

Andrew leaves and Eddie tells Ben to get back in there. Eddie tells him to watch his mouth and Ben gets snarky, saluting him and calling him the boss. I laugh.

Kelly lingers on the sidewalk outside her house. Marcie runs up and asks what’s happening. Kelly says Louise was hurt, the baby is missing, and Louise said it was Brad. Marcie can’t believe it and Kelly tells her to talk to the police. Kelly calls Steven over and introduces them. Marcie asks where Randal is, but Steven says they don’t know. He shows her a picture of Alex and Randal and he asks if it’s a recent photo. Marcie says yes, and he talks about the “it’s a boy” sign and the light bulb comes on over his head. He starts asking Marcie where she was, and she says she wants to know what’s going on. Kelly asks what he’s trying to pull and he says he was just asking questions. He tells Marcie that according to her mother-in-law, Brad beat Louise up and kidnapped the baby. He asks Marcie if this is something Brad could do and she says she doesn’t know. He asks if she knows where Brad is and she hesitates, but tells Steven he’s at the apartment that they share together and gives him the address. He asks for permission to search and she gives it. She says Brad came in about an hour ago and she hasn’t seen him all day. She asks if Randal is going to be all right and Steven says he doesn’t know.

Kelly asks Marcie if she thinks Brad could have done this, but she doesn’t know what to think. Kelly needs to go back to Alex’s house because the kids are there. Marcie doesn’t want to because she blames Alex for all this

The nurse wheels Pete past Lushion and he asks where they’re taking him. She says they’re going to a more secure part of the hospital. Lushion asks if Pete remembers anything and tells him he got shot. Pete asks by who, but Lushion was hoping Pete could tell him. Pete says he can’t remember. Lushion asks if he remembers anything, but the nurse tells him to back off a little. Pete starts to cry and Lushion says he’s looking good and he’ll see him later. Hmm…moving him. That could be good or bad. Natalie remembers Pete giving her the bag and asks if he’s going to be okay, but Lushion says Joey is their main focus.

Brad throws away the bloody paper towels. His phone is ringing. He doesn’t answer and puts it in his pocket.

Eddie arrives at Brad’s house. The officer says it’s pretty bad and Eddie asks if there are any bodies. The officer says they took an old lady to the hospital. Steven asks what he’s doing there and Eddie says checking out the crime scene and enjoying it, which Steven finds really weird. Eddie says the guy who once tried to sue the department lives here, and Steven tells him all the more reason to get out. He tells Eddie not to touch anything and Eddie touches stuff deliberately because he’s five. Steven says outranks Eddie and Eddie says think about how he got his rank. They go back and forth for a while. Steven makes a crack about ladies underwear and tells Eddie not to test his patience. He finally gives Eddie the bum’s rush out the door. How this guy doesn’t get a smack across the face every five minutes is beyond me.

Esperanza asks Eddie what he’s doing there. He says the primary care giver of his child isn’t home and his daughter is in a house next to a crime scene. Esperanza is like, oh, now Eddie wants to be a father. She tells Steven he’s Eddie’s boss and tell him to get out. Steven asks if she can identify some photos for him. She tells Eddie to wipe the stupid smile off his face and he asks if she’s leaving him for Steven because he has the IQ of a rock.

Marcie acts like a two-year-old, getting loud and flinging herself around in Alex’s house. Kelly tells her to knock it off. Marcie says she needs someone to blame. Kelly says give it time and Marcie says she has, but it’s still there and blah-blah-blah Alex slept with her husband. Yeah? Well, your husband is a raging lunatic who deserves to be in the box he’s in right now, so you should thank her. Kelly tells her the kids are there and Marcie says she doesn’t care about Alex’s kids. Kelly tells her that her son is there too, and to calm down or leave.

Travis calls Kelly. He leaves a voicemail saying she’s ignoring him and he doesn’t like being made a fool of. He doesn’t like the position she’s put him in. Being a stalker?

Kelly ignores the call. Marcie asks who it is and Kelly says nothing important. Travis calls again and says she thinks he’s some kind of kid that she can ignore. He says he’s going to keep calling and calling and calling until she picks up. He calls her a selfish and inconsiderate bitch. He immediately calls back, saying he doesn’t know why he did that, he’s sorry, and please call him back. Then he calls again and says he hates her. He keeps calling like he’s two different people. He asks if he can come by and see Justice. He asks if she’s with the guy next door. He crys, he yells, he has fantasies about being with her, he apologizes.

Marcie says someone is really trying to get in touch with Kelly. She says she doesn’t want to talk to them. Marcie asks if it’s Alex and she says no. Marcie says Alex had everything and had to come looking in her backyard. Kelly says it takes two and Marcie says it takes four, because she and Brad didn’t know. Kelly says now you know, and Marcie gets pissed, asking how she can be so nonchalant. Kelly says she’s not going to be in the middle anymore and she just wants to make sure the baby is safe.

Marcie asks what about Randal, and Kelly says him too. Marcie says Kelly doesn’t care. Kelly says she does, but what’s obvious is that Marcie cares more than she’s letting on. Marcie says she still loves Randal and starts to cry. Kelly says he’s her husband and of course she loves him. Marcie says she hopes he’s somewhere getting his ass kicked for what he did, but part of her hopes he’s okay. Seriously, he’s full-blown batsh*t crazy. Just move on. And not with Brad either.

Kelly says she noticed the look on Marcie’s face when Steven was asking her questions, and asks if she thinks Brad did this. Marcie says she doesn’t see it. Kelly says he was in the military and almost ripped Randal to shreds. Marcie wonders how she can be sure about any man. Randal made her doubt everything. Kelly asks her again and she says she doesn’t know. Kelly asks why she has that look then. Marcie says she saw mud on Brad’s shoes and what he told her didn’t sound true. She says the mud was red and there isn’t any red dirt where he said he was. Kelly says they have to tell the police. Marcie says what if she’s wrong, or worse, what if she’s right? Kelly insists, taking Marcie by the hand and bringing her outside.

Alex is driving while trying to use her phone and crying. She gets through to Brad. She says she needs him. He asks if the kids are okay. She says yes. He says don’t call him for anything else and hangs up. She calls again, but gets voicemail. She’s crying hysterically and continues to call. Suddenly, a deer is in front of the car. She swerves and crashes into a tree. To add insult to injury, a tree branch falls on the car.

Next time, Joey is in surgery, Brad talks to Eddie, Julius tempts Ben, and Kelly tells Esperanza about Travis.

Below Deck

Everyone has recovered from the 12-course tasting menu. Nico says Sierra broke down last night and is thinking of leaving. Kelley says she has to realize that Ben in the kitchen is brutal. Ben admits he was intense. Kate suggests he take Sierra aside and tell her she did a great job.

Sierra calls her mother, telling her how she flipped out because she was overwhelmed. In her interview, she claims to be thick-skinned, but needs positivity, which really isn’t even a word. And I think she folded pretty easily, besides not being totally on top of things.

Ben catches Sierra in the laundry room and asks if they’re cool. She says they are, but doesn’t really look at him and concentrates on ironing. Lauren says she has a crush on Nico and thinks they’re flirting, but we know he’s in competition with Kelley for Emily’s attention. Kate is thrilled to have two stews that actually work, and gives them swimming time while the guests are ashore.

Two of the guests, the bald guy and the less bald guy, want to have a push up contest and they ask for bikini wax. I guess the loser gets waxed? The less bald guy wins and agrees to get some of his back waxed too. Kate gives instructions on how to do it and one of their companions does the honors. It looks pretty painful. Holy! Less bald guy is like a gorilla, he has so much hair. Drunk old guy asks to see Emily’s “V” and he doesn’t mean the 1980’s show. That’s so disgusting, I can’t even, but she takes it in stride.

Another amazing meal is produced by Chef Ben. When Kate serves the wine, she tells the guests they can try other options and even more drunk old guy says he’ll try her too. WTF? She can’t wait for them to leave. Ben thinks it’s an easy evening. No 12-course dinner and no tears in the galley.

The girls laugh about the wax strips of hair. Kate irons it (?) and they’re going to present it to the guests (??). Ben tells her to do it after the tip. It’s time to dock and Nico says the guy on the dock is moving like a turtle. Captain Lee swears the docks are getting smaller.

Kate presents bald guy with the wax art. It’s been made into a poster on dowel rods. Asian guy gives Captain Lee the tip. It looks like a brown bag lunch and I hope there’s money in it and not back hair.

Captain Lee asks if the interior is doing better. He says everyone must have done well, because it’s $20,000, split ten ways, thanks to Trevor. Captain Lee says everyone can go out tonight. In her interview, Kate says she doesn’t know what’s going on between Lauren and Nico, but she believes Nico is thinking friend zone and Lauren didn’t get the memo.

The next primaries are Mark and Heidi, with two daughters each from previous marriages. Nothing to see here, no weirdos. There’s also a new deckhand coming. The captain says he’s kind of green.

Kate and Ben discuss the difference between “love you” and “I love you.” Everyone gets ready to go out. Lauren seems miffed that Nico is flirting with Emily on the boat to the mainland. The crew goes to a really nice cafe and piano bar. The drinking commences. Nico notices that something is up with Lauren, but he’s too stupid to know what, so she ignores him. After dinner Kate suggests they go make bad decisions.

Nico asks Ben about Lauren and Ben says obviously she likes him, but it will blow over. Lauren talks to Kelley on the way to the club or whatever it is. Emily thinks Nico is an interesting character and attractive. Lauren is stumbling around the beach and Kelley sends Nico out to look after her. She blows him off. Kelley claims sake gives you a clean hangover, whatever that means. Lauren tells Nico she can’t talk to him right now. Kelley takes the opportunity to tell Emily that Nico has a girlfriend, whether he does or not.

Back at the Valor, everyone heads to bed. Nico tries to hit on Sierra, but it’s a no, and I think she has hiccups. She tells Kate he tried to kiss her, which she finds hysterically funny. Nico moves on to Emily and tells her he thinks she’s attractive. Emily says he has a girlfriend and she’s not like that. He says it was months ago and she says not according to Kelley, and she’s going to bed, but not with him.

Nico wakes up alone and with his clothes still on. Emily and Sierra compare notes on Nico. Sierra says she thought he was getting on with Lauren. Nico tells Kelley he cares about Lauren, but not that way. In his interview, Kelley says no matter how much you think a girl is “a bro,” she’s not. Girls catch feelings. Very astute of him.

New deckhand Kyle arrives. We need subtitles because his British accent is so thick. Captain Lee has Kelley get him settled in. In his interview, Kyle says yachting is a better choice than the fishing trawlers he was on – there’s women on the boat and it’s not deadly. Ben says he can barely understand Kyle and he’s from England. Kyle meets everyone. Nico apologizes to Emily, saying he was a little drunk. She tells him it wasn’t cool to try to get with the easiest girl, but asks how his head is.

Nico thinks things are weird between him and Lauren and they need to fix it. Kate thinks no matter what, these guests will be better than the last group. Kelley wants Lauren to make a list of all the water toys with Nico, and the girls tell her how he tried to kiss both of them. Lauren says he’s not the guy she thought he was.

Nico asks if everything is all right between him and Lauren. He says he was super drunk and says the “we were all drunk” thing that I hate. No, it was you that was insensitive in the first place. He says she was ignoring him, but she says they’re cool and she’ll get over it. Everyone gets ready for the next guests.

Kate does the tour. I love this boat. Kyle is working out well and Kelley is happy. The guests are easy-going and not very demanding. Kyle says Sierra has the Alaskan face and he’s a Viking. What?

Ben is going to truffle-ize the hell out of the potato salad, which sounds scary. Lunch is served and it’s time to set up the water toys. Kate is surprised the parents are letting their daughters drink so much. She’d like them to remember their vacation, and decides to lighten the drinks.

Kyle has been helping with the water toys and suddenly dislocates his shoulder. That was quick.

Next time, Kate’s girlfriend Ro arrives, Kyle hits on Emily, Kate’s concerned about the guests’ alcohol consumption (and rightly so), and Captain Lee has it out with Kelley over some dirty windows.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Tracy tells Dillon it might help Paul if he could see his daughter. Dillon can’t believe after all Paul has done, Tracy wants to help him. Paul strolls into the house, uninvited, saying he comes in peace. Does no one lock their doors in Port Charles? He thanks Tracy for being understanding, and she says she realizes it’s about Susan.

Morgan tries to work on his paper, but he can’t think. He reminds me of Jefferson in 1776, trying to write the Declaration while his mind is on his wife. Kiki comes by and asks if he’s almost done.

Franco has to meet with his accountant and tells Elizabeth he’ll see her later. He’s really visiting Heather.

Elizabeth’s doorbell rings. It’s her sister, aka Hayden. She asks if Elizabeth is disappointed that she’s not in prison.

Julian tells Alexis he’s surprised she didn’t change the locks. She says she didn’t think he’d have the audacity to just walk in. Why not? He tries to talk to her, but she tells him the law is on her side. She says he tried to kill her once before and she won’t think twice about killing him now. Okay, I just have to say this. The least he could have done after letting himself in, is not leave the door wide open.

Morgan says he got lucky. The professor had a personal issue and gave an extension.

Elizabeth invites Hayden in, saying she’s glad she’s free. She says she didn’t know all the facts and once she found out everything, it was too late. Does she even realize how bad that makes her sound? Hayden explains about her mother taking the rap for her. Elizabeth apologizes and says she didn’t mean to make all this trouble. She hopes they can move forward. She tells Hayden about her other sister, Sarah, and that she lives in CA, and how she hardly gets to see her. She says maybe she and Hayden could figure out a way to be sisters. Hayden says she’s not there for a reunion, but to give her something. She hands Elizabeth a paper.

Heather talks about Franco forcing her to tell him that Hayden and Elizabeth are sisters, and now her income stream is destroyed. She says the Bank of Heather is closed. Franco says he had to tell them because of the GH killer.

Tracy says it’s only natural after what happened that Paul would think of his own child and how easy it is to lose someone you love. Paul makes up stuff about why Sabrrrina’s death hit him hard and says the best way to handle it is to stay on top of the case. He wonders about Dante’s lead and wants to interview Monica himself.

Alexis tells Julian to get out. He says he understands why she feels the way she does, and says he never would have killed her because he loves her. He says no matter how much she betrayed him, he never wanted to scare her like that. But you are, Blanche! You are in that chair. Sorry. Alexis isn’t having any, so Julian says he’ll be going now. He wants to give her something before he leaves. It must be gifting day.

Elizabeth opens Hayden’s attorney bill. Hayden says she’s a widow with no spousal support and her only back-up was the diamonds. She says she needs to save her mother and the least Elizabeth can do is provide the funds.

Franco explains to Heather about the blood transfusion and how he was forced to tell the secret. He says he’s going through a financial crisis himself and he needs her to go back to her nest egg. For some reason, Heather thinks Franco pushed Elizabeth down the stairs.

Tracy says Monica’s doctors were specific and Monica needs rest. Tracy says the only thing Monica remembers is the killer’s cologne, and that she’s smelled it in the house. Paul says he’ll be going now, and Tracy asks him to consider talking to Susan. He says he’ll think about it. As soon as Paul is gone, Tracy tells Dillon they have to find Susan.

Kiki wants to read Morgan’s paper. He asks if she doesn’t trust him. She says she just wants to help, and he asks her if she thinks he’s going to fail.

Julian gives Alexis the signed divorce papers. She says to put them on the table. He asks what exactly happened at the trial and why she blew her testimony. He says she knew what the jury wanted to hear, but she couldn’t get a coherent word out. He asks if it was because of him, and she tells him it was because of having to look at his stupid face. He asks if she did it on purpose to save him.

Elizabeth tells Hayden that she lives paycheck to paycheck. Hayden suggests they call Jeff together, and maybe he can help her.

Franco tells Heather he’d never hurt Elizabeth and wonders how she could think that. She tells him to admit that removing the tumor didn’t change anything. He says he didn’t kill anyone.

Kiki says she’s concerned that Morgan is putting too much pressure on himself. He says everyone has stress and it’s how you manage it that counts. She apologizes for hovering and he says don’t apologize for caring. He wants her to be proud of him. She says she is.

Dillon thinks calling Susan is a bad idea, but Tracy tells him to just encourage her to call. He says maybe she’s right and that after the trial, Paul was pretty dejected. Tracy has the number for Susan’s store in the phone and tells him to push call. He gets voicemail.

Paul goes to a hospital bearing flowers and a gift. He gives the nurse some candy and she tells him that Susan is waiting. He goes into her room. Susan seems pretty out of it. He tells her hello.

Morgan tells Kiki he’s on the last paragraph. She says they’ll celebrate later by eating something fried and delicious. She leaves and Morgan checks the spyder-finder search engine for where to buy a paper. He takes out his credit card.

Heather says she understands everything about Franco and he tells her she’s way off base. She says you need conflict to create and he should let the darkness inside of him out. He says he was exonerated and he’s completely innocent. She says she was so sure he did it.

Hayden says it’s time to let Jeff know she’s his daughter. Elizabeth says he does humanitarian work and doesn’t have money. She says Hayden chose to chase money more than anything else, and it’s time for her to get a job. Hayden says she had a job at ELQ, but Tracy got rid of her, and since she was raised by Raymond Berlin, no one will ever hire her again.

Tracy answers Dillon’s phone thinking it might be Susan. She finds out Susan sold the shop and she asks if there’s a forwarding address. She writes something down. She says she knows that place and wonders how Susan ended up there.

Paul puts the flowers in water and takes a trip down Memory Lane. There’s no response from Susan who just hugs her pillow. He says he got her something else. He tells her that he didn’t succeed in getting her all the presents he wanted to, but managed to get most of them. Susan runs to her bed and hugs her knees.

Alexis tells Julian what a twit he is. He says her subconscious wouldn’t let her help convict him. She says she hates him with every fiber in her being, and there was nothing in her subconscious that was otherwise. Julian says she wants to believe she hates him, but he believes what happened in the courtroom was fate. He says the way they loved each other doesn’t just stop. He says in order for him to keep going, he needs to trust they’ll be together again. She tells him to do what he has to and she’ll do what she has to. She calls the police. She wants the paperwork for a restraining order and wants Julian to never be near her.

Kiki returns. Morgan says he’s done with his paper. She tells him that she got them tickets to see Hypothermia. He says the tickets are sold out and expensive, and that he doesn’t deserve her. She says it’s for both of them because she loves the band and they need a night of fun. He says she doesn’t understand, but then Dillon interrupts. Kiki tells Dillon about Morgan going back to school and just having done his first paper. Dillon asks if the college is still using a website called TurnInYourWork.com. When Morgan says they are, he says it’s to find out if the students are cheating.

Hayden sees that Elizabeth has a private nurse and says she thought Elizabeth was destitute. Elizabeth tells her that Franco paid for it and if Hayden ever needs a blood transfusion, she’ll give blood and they’ll be even. She suggests that Hayden find a rich man like her mother did, and sister or not, she has nothing but contempt for people like her. Hayden walks out. That was pretty nasty. This is why I don’t like Elizabeth. She’s no saint from like, five minutes ago, yet she looks down her nose at her sister, who is obviously desperate.

Franco tells Heather it hurts his feeling that she’d think he was the killer. She asks if he blames her, considering his past. She says she loves him and wants the best for him and he needs to be his own man. She says he can paint full time now and take the setback as an opporunity to make her feel proud of everything she’s sacrificed.

Paul says he didn’t mean to scare Susan. It breaks his heart that he can’t hold her hand or touch her. He says he doesn’t know why shes like this, but when she sees what he’s given her, it might help her find her way back. He made a lsit of the people who hurt her, starting with Kyle Sloane, Dr. Mays who mishandled her rape kit, and the rest. (Here on Gilligan’s Isle!) He lists the people he’s killed and says they’re all gone. He got rid of them and the world is safe, so she can come back. It’s time.

Alexis finishes her call and asks Julian why he’s still there. He says no matter how much distance she puts between them, they’ll always have Paris be connected. He tells her good-by – for now. Moron. He leaves and Alexis can’t drink her wine fast enough.

Franco asks Elizabeth how her alone time was. She tells him Hayden came by, but all she wanted was a hand out. She says she doesn’t know what she’d do without him. She wants to take a nap, so he helps her up. She asks why he’s going so far out of his way for her. He says he’d do anything for her, even being a better person who deserves to be with her. Bleh.

Kiki tells Dillon she never heard of the website. He says once paper is turned it, it goes through databases to see if anything was copied or if the student bought the paper. Uh-oh, Morgan.

Hayden looks for jobs.

Franco tries to get his credit card limit raised.

Paul lights the candles on Susan’s cake. He says whatever she desires, blow out candles and he’ll make it happen. He asks her to come back, saying he got rid of them all for her, that justice has been served, and no one will come after her again. She sits and just stares ahead. He begs her to come back and starts to cry. He blows out the candles himself.

Tracy is outside the door and she’s overheard.

That was a really nice scene. That’s what soap opera is all about.

Tomorrow, Claudette needs to talk to Griff (what else is new?), Anna is back, and Maxie tells Nathan that Claudette has been lying the whole time (that’s not new either).

If Loving You is Wrong

No doubt Louise is dead, since everyone keeps wandering around instead of helping her, and the police are taking their sweet time getting there.

Kelly sees a body that’s not moving in Randal’s house. Esperanza tells her to check for a pulse. Kelly wonders if the person is still in the house, but Esperanza says Alex was already there and said they’d left. Kelly is like, how does she know that? and I’m with her. It’s not like she checked upstairs. I can’t believe a 911 operator would try to get a civilian involved like this.

Kelly checks on the kids. She tells Esperanza she feels sick and wonders what’s taking the police so long. She hears sirens, but only sees that idiot, Travis, outside. Don’t tell me he’s going to get arrested for this. I’d laugh my head off. The police finally pull up. They approach the house, which is dark all of a sudden. Um…the lights were on two minutes ago. Continuity, people! Yep, looks like Louise is dead. No, wait, there’s a pulse. The EMTs get her into the ambulance.

Steven goes next door to talk to Kelly. He asks what she saw. She says she didn’t see anything, and that Esperanza had called her to check on things. She asks if Louise is going to be okay and Steven says, hopefully. He asks if she went into the house or stepped in the blood. She says no, but he asks to take a photo of her shoe just in case. He acts all concerned about her welfare, but Kelly says she’s just shaken up. He asks if she heard anything, but she says no. He asks how she knew Louise, and Kelly says they just met once or twice and asks again if she’s going to be okay.

Steven asks if she knows Brad. She says yes and tells him which house is Brad’s. He says he has reason to believe Brad is involved and Kelly is like, no way. Steven says way; Louise whispered that he did this. She tells him that Brad moved, and he asks if she would call him. Right now. She dials the phone. Do we still call it dialing?

Joey is wheeled into the ER. Natalie is right behind him and a nurse steers her to paperwork. They ask if he has insurance and she says no. The clerk tells her she’ll be right back. Lushion comes in and tells Natalie it’s going to be okay. She says they won’t give Joey good care, and tells him about the insurance question. Lushion goes with her to talk to the nurse, who says they’ll know something shortly. Natalie asks why the clerk stopped taking her information. The nurse says Joey can’t leave until he’s stabilized. Lushion asks if he’s going to be taken to a county hospital and she says it’s been known to happen. Lushion tells her that they can pay. Natalie is beside herself, but he tells her again that it will be okay.

Julius asks Ben about his hand. He asks if it hurts. He wants more information, which puzzles me. Ben says he hates Andrew. Julius asks if he wants to kill him or at least shoot his fingers off. Julius says he thinks he should and he can. Ben asks how, and Julius says they should hang out; he could use a man in blue. Ben says if Eddie finds out… but Julius stops him. He says Eddie is a street dog, but Ben can be prime and work for him. He says they’ll talk later, but for now he needs to prove his loyalty. He tells Ben to give him his phone and he’ll put his number in for Ben to call later. He tells Ben to keep under the radar.

Eddie comes into the station and asks Esperanza what she’s doing there. She says working. He asks about his daughter and she says she’s the primary care giver, so don’t worry about it. He tells her to get her primary ass home. Esperanza says she’s at Kelly’s and Eddie makes a racist comment. She says he doesn’t get to talk to her about night shift or anything else anymore. She tells him his days are numbered and she needs to make sure she’s good when he goes down. He asks if that’s an invitation. Ew! She tells him he disgusts her. He says maybe, but she always comes back. She gets up and he grabs her arm. She tells him not to touch her and smacks him. She asks where his girlfriend, Claudia, is. She asks him to leave. He says he knows what she’s worried about and Joey will be fine. She says first Alex now this. He asks what happened and she tells him to look at the board.

Kelly’s ex calls. Um…he’s calling from prison. The call doesn’t just connect. Oh, his mother has set up a three-way call. He asks how Kelly is doing. His mother says Kelly doesn’t want to talk to him and he says she will if his mother lets her. Kelly says she’s there and his mother berates her for not visiting. The ex says she’s been raising his son and his mother gripes about not seeing him. His mother says Kelly is fine because he’s locked up for something she did. He tells Kelly he’ll call her back and his mother says he’s a damn fool because she’s not going to answer.

She answers. But then she hangs up.

Eddie asks Ben how things are going. Julius asks Eddie wazzup. Eddie asks what he’s doing there. Julius says one of his rookies arrested him for drunk driving and points out Andrew. Eddie lets him out of the cell because they’re as lax as they are on GH. Andrew says Julius needs to take a breathalyzer. Ben tells him to get lost and Andrew says he’s reporting this to the captain. Ben says he’s signing his death warrant. Julius asks what happened to Ben’s hand and says the job has many hazards. What the blip is with Julius’s obsession with Ben’s hand?

Julius asks Eddie about his plan. He says, one down, two to go. He tells Julius that Quan is down, but Julius says he wasn’t on the list. Eddie says he got caught in a drive-by. Julius asks about Claudia. Eddie says he’s working on it. Julius says he had some Cubans in the car when he was arrested. Feel free to make your own joke here. Eddie asks Andrew about it and Andrew says it’s contraband. Eddie says go get them. When he returns, Julius says he doesn’t like Andrew and gives Eddie a cigar. He tells Andrew to keep doing things by the book and leaves. Andrew stares at Eddie who asks Ben where his damn coffee is.

It’s Randal in a box! He says he can’t breath. Something gets poured on him and he starts yelling no, no, no, no, no. Is it gasoline?

Ben sees Julius outside. He’s waiting for his car to come out of impound. Julius offers Ben a cigar. Julius tells him to enjoy it and says he works too hard. Ben says he admires Julius and that his father is a legend. Ben offers his condolences. Julius says thanks, but it’s his turn now, and he’s doing things differently. Ben asks why here in Maxine? He says it’s such a small town; he’d be in Miami. Julius says maybe they should go. Ben says he’ll do anything for Julius. Julius says when his car gets there, they should go for a ride. Ben says he’s still on duty, but Julius offers him some pure Colombian. I wonder if they’re talking about weed or coke, but Ben is so excited, I assume the latter. Julius says he owes him one. Ben says he can’t leave though, because Eddie is watching. Julius says Ben has his number. Yeah, me too.

Alex drives around crying and trying to use her phone. She calls her mother. She asks where her baby is. She says she knows that her mother took him. She  saw her in the truck and her mother acts ignorant, saying she doesn’t know what Alex is talking about. Alex says she’ll call the police, and her mother asks if she’s drunk. Alex begs her mother not to do this. Her mother says if someone took her bastard maybe it’s for the best. Her mother acts like the phone is going out and hangs up.

Brad tells Marcie she’s playing hard-to-get. She asks if his phone was ringing, but he says it’s no one he wants to talk to. She asks if he’s been drinking, and he says not as much as he’d like. He tries to kiss her and she tells him to back up. He asks her to sit and talk. He asks if you can love someone too much, and she says it depends on the person. You can’t love someone too much who loves you the same way. He says every day he feels fine and then something reminds him of Alex and he feels the pain. He wants it to be done. It makes him feel stupid and sad. He says usually he can detach emotion from the relationship. Marcie asks what changed, and he says a girl named Alex. He says they have two kids together and he’ll have to see her. Marcie says to give it time. Her phone rings, but she doesn’t answer. She says a phone ringing late at night is never good news.

Marcie tells Brad that it’s Kelly and he says she’s been calling him too. Marcie answers and Kelly asks if she knows where Brad is. Marcie says no. Kelly tells her the police are there. She says that the baby is missing, Randal is gone, and Louise is hurt and told the police Brad did it. The police want to talk to him. Marcie says she doesn’t know where he is. Steven wants to talk to Marcie.

Steven asks Marcie if she knows where Brad is. He says he’s heard they share an apartment. She wants to get off the phone and he tells her her life could be in danger. She says she’ll call him back. He asks if Brad is there and that’s why she can’t talk. She says thank you and hangs up. Steven asks Kelly if she knows where they live. She doesn’t say anything, so he asks for a trace on the cell phone. He thanks Kelly and goes back to the car. Kelly has a headache.

Marcie says the mud on Brad’s boots is red and does he want to tell her what’s going on. He grabs her by the throat and I gasp out loud. I was not expecting that.

Next time, Lushion tells Esperanza about the shootout, Eddie threatens Ben, Travis screeches at Kelly, and Alex gets in an accident.

Below Deck

Ben tells Trevor he’s sh*tfaced. Trevor calls him a jackass and insults everyone. The crew heads back to the bus or trolley car or whatever it is, and Trevor continues to act idiotic. Kelley tells him to settle down and Trevor says he has a PTSD Marine for a bosun. Trevor jumps out of the car, wanting to fight Nico, and everyone tries to get him to calm down. Kelley says he can stay at a hotel room tonight, but Trevor says he doesn’t give a flying and continues to insult the Marine Corps. Ben tells Kelley that Trevor is a wanker and it has nothing to do with him.

The next morning, everyone either has a headache or is still half-drunk. Captain Lee is looking for his radio and Kate suggests he use Trevor’s since he’s not on the boat. Kate invites the captain to have cereal and talk. She fills him in a little, but says it’s best if Kelley tells him how things ended. He radios Kelley to come to the wheelhouse.

The captain asks for a synopsis. Kelley says Trevor got wasted, hassled Ben, and on the way back, spoiled for a fight. The captain wants to get everyone’s take on it. Lauren is next. He asks about her eventful evening. We see everyone talking to the captain and they all say the same thing. Trevor was a drunken idiot. The captain says he’ll deal with it in one way or another.

Ben asks Kate if Trevor should be fired. She says yes, because he doesn’t learn, but Ben thinks he should have another chance.

Trevor gets back and Kelley tells him to talk to the captain. He tells Captain Lee that everything was fine until the bus, and then the crew made fun of him for being a hair model. The look on the captain’s face is priceless. Trevor says he’s still in the learning process and he needs guidance in how to talk to people without coming off brash. Um… stop talking altogether? The captain calls Kelley in. In his interview, the captain says once is an accident, twice is a pattern, and he believes there will be a third time. He can’t afford to babysit, and thinks this isn’t the place for Trevor. He says says Trevor can leave nice and make apologies if he needs to. In his interview, Trevor asks where his apology is. Ben says it’s tough to be forgiven twice in the yachting profession. Nico thanks God. Trevor says it will be tough to replace him. Kate says we all have to hit rock bottom before we can make good life changes. Well, some of us apparently.

Trevor apologizes to Kelley and Ben, but not to Nico. Nico says he doesn’t know whether Trevor was embarrassed or just being a d*ck. I vote for the latter. Kelley tells the captain he feels like he failed a little, but it will be smoother without Trevor. Nico is happy to get the top bunk back. Sierra says Trevor never did anything to her, but there was definitely a negative vibe on the boat.

It’s time to go over the new charter guests. A group of entrepreneurs and something about an internet company. They want to explore and have a beach bar. The captain points out that one of the guests likes to eat nothing but air. No meat, dairy, gluten, fat, wheat, seafood (except for fish – I don’t know what that means) and no food whatsoever. The guests want a formal dinner on the first night with a 12-course tasting menu. Ben is thrilled. Nico says he’s already looking forward to them leaving.

Kate video chats with her girlfriend, Ro. The wifi is so inferior, she’s thinking of wrapping a coat hanger in tin foil. Google it if you’re too young to understand the reference.

Sierra tells Kate that she used to have a juicing business, but she ran out of money and turned to yachting. She wants to go back to it eventually though. She offers to help Ben with the menu. He says she and the guest are a match made in gluten-free heaven. She does a tricep workout with some cans.

Trevor gives instructions to the deckhands and tells Nico the hot tub has to be drained.

Sierra has a problem with the juicer. Kelley points out that it’s not plugged in. I think there was a reason she couldn’t make money with her juicing business.

The guests arrive. Kate gives the boat tour. She says she’s getting a strange vibe, and they’re like something from a D-list Tarantino picture. The captain says the boat is under-powered, the wind is going in one direction, and the tide in another. Not the best conditions. Somehow, they still manage to get away from the dock.

Uh-oh. The hot tub is awfully full. Bald guy guest says they’re making more money just sitting around than most people make in a year, and I hope it overflows onto his bald head. Ben gets lunch ready so he can prepare for dinner. Bald guy suggests he’ll hook up with Emily if his wife dies. Kate thinks she’ll probably commit suicide being married to him. There goes the hot tub.

Nico sees water coming from everywhere. Sierra makes lemonade that Ben thinks is awful. He hopes her culinary skills are better than her juicing skills. Only if she turns the appliances on. Nico calls Kelley to help with the hot tub. He says if it had to happen, it’s the best time since the guests are eating.

The captain tells Kelley to break out every toy they have. The deckhands pull out the inflatable stuff and the pool. I don’t get the pool thing. It’s basically a huge fish net that you swim in. The idea is that no sea life touches you. I would think part of it would be swimming with the fishes. Captain Lee jokes about how much hair bald guy has on his back. Sierra asks what to expect from a 12-course meal and Ben says, chaos. Kate says it might cause her to cry. Ben suggests a salad for the gluten free Carolina. Kate is concerned that Sierra helping Ben is like sending a bunny into a lion’s den.

Dinner time. They do the table setting with those glass stones again and I love it. Ben says he needs someone who can distinguish clear thoughts in a short amount of time. I predict Sierra is going to have a problem with that. These people seem a like a bunch of weirdos. Ben looks like the Karate Kid in his black outfit and headband.

Nico and Kelley talk about the girls. They think Sierra is pretty, but perhaps has a screw loose. Back in the kitchen Sierra still needs to get the salad together. OMG – the caviar whatever-it-is looks fabulous. Sierra says she’s thick-skinned, but needs positivity. The primary’s daughter is with them and he talks inappropriately in front of her. Gluten Free is still waiting for her salad and Ben wonders wtf? He says Sierra has two courses and all she’s doing is making the world’s biggest salad. Gluten Free doesn’t like that since she doesn’t eat anything, she’s missing out on the courses. Sierra goes back to the kitchen and tells Ben to make a conch course for Gluten Free. Oh Lord, they’re only on the third course.

Sierra sears (ha-ha!) the tuna. Ben says it has to be as aesthetically pleasing as the raw tuna and he’s about to give up. Ben tells Sierra the tuna is f*cked and he doesn’t want to serve it. She gets all bummed. Gluten Free doesn’t like raw fish. There is nothing not to like about this tuna. Fat dude is sleepy. Sierra starts to get clumsy in the kitchen. Ben tells Kate she’s making Sierra nervous. Gluten Free claims to not be picky and tries the calamari. Isn’t that seafood??? No one knows what course they’re on at this point. Bald guy picks his nose. I don’t like lamb, but I would eat the dish Ben made anyway.

Trevor says he’s thrown off some hints to Emily that he’s interested, but is getting weird signals back.

The final course is some kind of dessert that I’m sure tastes wonderful. Mmmm…I love spun sugar. By midnight, it’s over. Sierra is all weepy and wants to go home. Kate takes a picture of whatever guests are left with Ben. She thinks it’s genius to have such a long meal, since the guests are ready to go to bed afterward. Kate and Ben tell Sierra that nothing was her fault and not to stress. In his interview, Ben says in the old days you got dishes thrown at you or saucepan to the back of the head, but now he can’t even yell at someone. He says if you’re sensitive, you should stay out of the kitchen. Has Gordon Ramsey taught us nothing?

Next time, Sierra breaks down, a new deckhand arrives, and Nico comes on to Emily.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Nathan goes to Claudette’s room. He doesn’t want small talk, espresso, or a walk down Memory Lane. He just wants to know what she wants. She tells him she’s in trouble and he’s the only one who can help.

Scotty is outside on the phone talking to a reporter about the prosecution’s case falling apart and how he didn’t even need to put Julian on the stand. Griff overhears him and tells Scotty that he’s Duke’s son. He wants to know what happened.

Olivia confronts Alexis while she’s trying to have coffee, and accuses her of being drunk on the stand. She tells Alexis that her actions might set Julian free.

Ava visits Julian in his cell, and tells him the jury will do the right thing and let him go.

Carly asks Sonny how Michael is. Sonny tells her he’s staying at the Quartermaines. Carly tells him how badly she feels about what told Michael about Sabrrrina. She said she didn’t think they belonged together, but certainly didn’t wish her any harm. Sonny wonders who would be heartless enough to murder her.

Paul is! Dillon sees him sitting in an empty courtroom and asks if everything is okay. Paul says no, it’s not, and he did a bad thing.

Alexis tells Olivia if she’s going to berate her, at least sit down. Olivia says it’s all over the news that Alexis was drunk, but Alexis says she only had one glass of wine. Something was wrong and she doesn’t know what or why. She asks if the news told Olivia how the confession she risked her life for was tossed out. Olivia asks Alexis to make her understand.

Ava tells Julian not to be a pessimist. His fate is in the hands of a jury who never heard his confession, only Alexis’s convoluted testimony. Julian wonders why she isn’t surprised. She says Alexis has always been a mess and finally cracked, and maybe the stars aligned just for him. Julian says maybe someone gave the stars a push. Ava says if everything works out, she’ll owe him big. Quid pro quo.

Dillon asks Paul to be more specific. Paul says if Julian goes free, it’s his fault. Dillon tells Paul about Sabrrrina being killed at GH and that the hospital is closing. Paul says it will have serious repercussions throughout the city, but Dillon says the board thinks it’s the best way to keep everyone safe. Dillon says he’d appreciate it if Paul would reassure Tracy that he’s doing everything in his power to catch the killer. Paul says he will.

Sonny says he thinks Sabrrrina found something out about the hospital killer and was silenced. Carly says it’s not his fault, and he promised her the killing stops now.

Nathan asks Claudette how her being in trouble makes it different from every other day. She says for the record, none of this was her fault. She says after they split up – he corrects her, saying she cheated on him and he left – she hooked up with the wrong, dangerous man. Nathan tells her about there being no online record of her. He asks for the guy’s name and she says he’s in prison. Nathan laughs about her getting involved with a cop, a priest and a crook. (A cop, a priest and a crook walk into Claudette…) She says the guy was following her from prison and she made herself untraceable, but it didn’t work. She saw Nathan’s engagement announcement and thought he could help her. She thought that it would be easier if they rekindled things, but she realized that playing games wasn’t going to get her anywhere. She goes on about him being a good guy and the memories coming back. He tells her to stop spinning the same line and asks if she’s forgotten about Griff, because he hasn’t.

Scotty tells Griff that nobody knows anything until the jury has its say. Griff says as far as he knew, there was a strong case against Julian. Scotty says he’s not the one Griff should be talking to. Griff wants to know how Scotty got around the taped confession. Scotty passes the buck to Alexis or Sonny.

Sonny says the killer has to be stopped before it happens again. Carly says let the professionals handle it and he says yeah, the same ones who just screwed up Julian’s trial. She wants him to promise not to take the law into his own hands.

Ava tells Julian that she performed a miracle. He hopes she didn’t perform one too many miracles today, and asks if she had anything to do with Sabrrrina getting killed. She says her hands are clean there, and she was going to ask him about that. She says it’s tragic and sad, but it helped his case. He says Sabrrrina’s death could be the reason he gets convicted.

Ava’s not following him. She says Sabrrrina not testifying is a good thing. He says juries aren’t ignorant and they know who he is. He thinks they’ll believe he had something to do with it. He wishes he’d started thinking differently a long time ago. If he had, none of this would be happening. He wishes he’d never told Alexis his secrets. A little late for that.

Alexis says it was like she was watching herself and she couldn’t comprehend what Paul was saying. Olivia says the nightmare is just beginning if the verdict is not guilty, because Julian can’t be tried again. He’ll be free to show up at her door and Alexis’s door and anybody else’s door he wants to show up at. She tells Alexis that he married her and tried to kill her; he has no morals or ethics and all he cares about is himself. He doesn’t even care about Leo.

Carly tells Sonny if he goes after Julian, Ava will return the fire, and what if another family gets involved? The best way to stop it is to not start it. Sonny tells her to drop it, but she says there’s too much at stake. She doesn’t want to wonder about retaliation. She wants him to promise that if Julian is found not guilty, he’ll let it go.

Paul says he’ll do whatever he can to resolve the hospital situation. He thanks Dillon for coming to him, saying he understands things have been strained between them. Dillon admits he said some harsh things about Paul’s ambition, but he’s proud of his work as DA. Paul apologizes for not being there when Dillon grew up. Dillon says they can’t change past, but they can make a better future.

The jury has reached a verdict. Everyone gets a text.

Scotty tells Paul he looks a little pasty and should have gone outside. Paul says some of us have work to do. Scotty probably is the laziest lawyer in the world. Any time he wins a case, it’s just pure luck. Everyone trickles back into the courtroom. Ava asks Alexis how she’s doing, and Olivia tells her to leave Alexis alone. Olivia asks if Ava can not be a bitch for like 30 seconds, and Ava says she just wants justice served. Alexis says her too. Everyone makes soap opera faces at each other in the courtroom

Claudette says she didn’t know Griff lived in Port Charles until she saw him, and then the feelings came back. Nathan says, oh, like the feelings for him. She says that’s not the issue – the bottom line is she’s in trouble and needs help. Nathan says she’s not going to get it from him.

The judge asks for the verdict. I hold my breath. Probably Julian is too. And everyone else. The judge shakes her head a little and takes an incredible amount of time, enough for everyone to make as many soap opera faces as they want.

The judge asks if all jury members agree with each count. They do. Solicitation: not guilty; theft of evidence: not guilty; obstruction of justice: not guilty; not going well; conspiracy to commit murder of Duke: not guilty. Carly yells, no! and the judge says no more outbursts. No surprise the verdicts for both Carrrlos’s murder and the attempted murder of Alexis are not guilty. Olivia gets up and yells that he’s guilty of everything and they all know it.

Claudette tells Nathan to listen to her. He tells her that’s all he’s done since they’ve known each other. He says it’s been endless lies since she got to Port Charles. He says she ruined his life before and wanted to do it again. He tells her to go to the authorities, but never contact him again. She says if he won’t do it for her, do it for us.

Again, the judge says no more outbursts. She releases the jury and tells Julian he’s free. Alexis leaves the courtroom in tears and sobs in the hallway. Olivia goes out to help her. Alexis says she needs to be alone and runs off.

Scotty pats himself on the back and Julian thanks him. Julian doesn’t look too happy though. Scotty tells Paul he put up a good fight and maybe next time. Dillon tells Paul he’s sorry and knows Paul did what he could. Paul wants to be alone too. Ava hugs Julian, saying how happy she is, and thanks Scotty. Scotty says they have some formalities to take care of and then Julian can go home. Ava hugs Julian, whispering in his ear that he owes her.

Sonny, Carly and Julian are left in the courtroom. Sonny looks at Julian ominously. I have the feeling he’s not going to keep his promise.

Claudette says she’s desperate. Nathan says she’s crazy and there is no “us.” She says she’s talking about her and her daughter. Thought it was going to be something like that.

Olivia tells Dillon this is a real mess, which is an understatement.

Alexis is at the bar talking to herself. She’s going over her testimony as it should have been, playing both parts. She says that’s all the jury needed to hear, but she couldn’t say what she needed to say. She asks for another drink.

Ava sees Paul outside. She thanks him for a job well done. She tells him there’s a letter in someone’s possession that will go to the authorities if she meets with any accident. He says how magnanimous of her. She says she doesn’t get why he’d kill complete strangers. He says she wouldn’t understand and she says try her. He says no, but he understands her better than he realized, and her need to protect her brother. He says family is supposed to take care of family, and she says she pegged him as a lone wolf. He tells her she’d be surprised. She tells him to stop while he’s ahead and get out of town before someone else figures out what he’s done.

Griff prays for his family, relatives and friends. He prays that his father has peace in God’s presence, and that his family has peace and is united to live a life that glorifies God. He prays for mercy for those who brought harm to his father and says in the end, only God can pass final judgment. He adds that in the end, he knows there will be justice.

Scotty and Julian wrap it up at court. Julian tells Sonny he wanted justice and it got served. Sonny tells him it will be when he sees Julian in hell.

Tomorrow, Finn goes nuts, Joe tells Morgan that Michael is nothing to Teddy (and it looks like Morgan punches him out) and Epiphany apologizes to Dr. Hardy’s photo.

If Loving You is Wrong

Travis continues to force himself on Kelly. She says he’s not going to take advantage of her. He wants her to beg like she made him beg. She keeps apologizing and saying anything to get him off of her. Justice comes out on the porch and asks if his mother is okay. Travis says she made a mistake and daddy is going to forgive her. Kelly herds the kids back into the house and shuts the door behind her.

Justice asks if Kelly is all right and if Travis hurt her. She says everything is fine. She sends the kids back to bed. After they’re out of the room, she sobs by the kitchen sink and creepy Travis knocks on the window. Ew! He’s tracing hearts on it or something. She calls the police and he slips away into the night. Wait, he’s slipping past the windows. Why is it taking so long for someone to pick up at 911? Finally, he drives away and Kelly puts the phone down. Maybe she was just pretending to call.

Esperanza asks Julius what he’s doing in jail. He says he got arrested and she says good. She asks Andrew what happened and Andrew says drinking and driving. He asks if she knows him and if he’s who he says he is. She says yes, and be careful.

Ben calls Andrew an idiot for arresting a cartel. A whole cartel? It’s just Julius. Ben tells Andrew that Julius is the leader now that his father is dead. Ben asks if Julius wants some coffee, but Julius says he just wants out. Ben says he’ll make that happen and apologizes for Andrew’s incompetence. Julius asks Ben about his hand. Julius says he knows Ben and asks if he was shot. They have some weird exchange and Julius tells Ben to get his coffee.
Andrew asks what the blip Ben is doing. He says Julius refused a breathalyzer. Ben doesn’t listen to him and gives Julius the coffee. Julius says Andrew needs to know who people are around here and Ben says he does. Esperanza tells Ben to get a move on. He and Julius say they’ll talk.

Julius tries to get Esperanza to engage. She says she doesn’t want to talk to him and he says she just did. BA-DUM-CHH! Then he tells her how great she looks and she says she knows. Everyone is very sassy today.

It’s Randal in a box! He asks if someone is there and says he can hear them. The voice of Alex’s father asks if he likes being in the box. Randal starts to freak and yell for help and Rusty says no help is coming.

Alex is still freaking out after her encounter with a bloody Louise. She calls Lushion and leaves a message. No wonder she got herself into this position in the first place. Apparently, she’s not very bright. She keeps saying she can’t. Can’t what? Call an ambulance? Finally, she calls 911 and tells Esperanza her baby has been kidnapped. Holy Christmas, is she not going to say anything about Louise??? Esperanza asks what happened and Alex says he’s gone. She asks if Alex is hurt and if she should send an ambulance. Alex says she’s not hurt, but to send an ambulance for Randal’s mother. Esperanza says a car and an ambulance are on the way, and asks how Louise got hurt. Alex says she doesn’t know. She says she heard a noise and went outside, but she’s hard to understand because she’s crying and keeps saying I don’t know. Esperanza asks if she thinks Randal took her son, but she doesn’t know that either. She says the baby was in his car seat on the table and when she came back, the door was open and he was gone.

Esperanza tells her the police are on their way, but Alex wants to leave. She explains where Louise is and says it’s all her fault. Esperanza says she’s on a recorded line and if she understands. She asks again where Louise is and for some other details. When Esperanza asks what Louise is wearing, I’m thinking Alex should say “blood,” but Alex really doesn’t know much of anything. I don’t know why Esperanza keeps asking where Louise is. The living room, okay? And how many bloody people does she think they’ll find that they need to weed Louise out? She asks if Alex can go next door, but she says she can’t, she needs to go. She hangs up.

There’s a knock at Kelly’s door. She thinks it’s Travis, but it’s Alex. This town doesn’t seem all that big, so I’m wondering what’s taking the police so long. Alex tells her something happened and she needs Kelly to go to her house and stay with the kids. Alex says he took the baby and babbles incoherently. She tells Kelly the police are coming and drives away. Kelly yells, “What’s happening!” like that kid in Poltergeist.

Meanwhile, back at the aftermath of the shootout, Lushion tells Natalie that he’ll take the kids to her mother’s house and hustles her away. Steven says there’s one dead and two wounded and he wants a statement from Lushion. Eddie pops out of nowhere and Lushion gets livid, asking what he’s doing there. Lushion leaves and Steven asks Eddoe if he knows the kid and tells him to wipe the smile off his face. He tells Eddie to keep pushing him and he’s going to find out what can happen. Eddie tells him to walk away and he does. Eddie tells the dead kid that he’s lucky because he was going to blast him, and thanks for saving him the trouble. Steven tells him to have some respect. I’m guessing the dead kid is the one who tried to rob Faun, since it sounds like she and Joey went to the hospital.

Brad gets home and Marcie asks where he’s been. He says he went for a drive and she asks if that’s why his boots are muddy. He says he got stuck in the mud. She asks about his drive and he says he went to some mountain to look at the stars. She asks if he was alone and he says she wouldn’t have gone with him. She asks how he would know and he says let’s go now. She has to work in the morning, but tells him not to assume she’d say no. He says one minute she’s throwing him out and the next she’s flirting with him. He says while he was driving, he wondered if this all happened so they could be together, and what if this is all about them? Marcie says their spouses had an affair and lied to them about their baby, and now the two exes are living together. She says it’s too much drama and she doesn’t want it to be her narrative. He suggests they rewrite it and move somewhere else. Marcie thinks they should just leave well enough alone. She tells him she found some places he might like.

He says he stayed out as late as he could, hoping she’d be asleep when he got back. He asks why she’s up anyway and she says she ate something funky. He asks if she needs anything, but she says no. They half-smile at each other and he wants her to sit next to him. He says he just wants to talk, but she says that’s not what his eyes are telling her and tells him goodnight. He tells her she’d better lock the door. We hear it lock after she closes it. Brad looks grim. Just wait.

Kelly gets a collect call from prison. In Ohio. Is that where they are? No name or anything. I guess it’s Justice’s father. He asks how Justice is and what she told him about his father. She says not much and he gets specific, asking if Justice knows he’s in jail. She says no, and he tells her he’s up for probation and he wants to come live with her. He wants to be a father to Justice. She’s like, we can’t pick up from nine years ago. They have 30 seconds and he asks her to think about it. He says he’ll see her soon. Not if she sees you first.

Esperanza calls Kelly and asks what’s going on. She tells Esperanza about Alex being all crazy. Esperanza tells her the baby and Randal are missing and something happened to Louise. Kelly assumes Randal took the baby and says she knew something crazy was going to happen. Esperanza asks if she heard anything like screaming or banging, but Kelly says she was asleep until Alex barged in. She says that Alex left in her car and Esperanza asks if Kelly can talk to the police when they get there. Kelly wants to go watch the kids, but Esperanza tells her Louise is hurt and to please go over to Randal’s place.

Kelly takes the phone with her and says she never knew so much drama would be going on in this neighborhood. Esperanza suggests Kelly get Ramsey to go with her, but she says he hasn’t spoken to her since their misunderstanding. I finally find out how to spell his name, but I like Ramses better. Esperanza says this isn’t about her and to get over there. Kelly sees a note on Ramsey’s door saying he’s gone back to Utah. She tells Esperanza he’s not there. Esperanza tells her to call him, but she says no. She leaves out the part about the note and says she’ll call Esperanza back.

Kelly calls Ramsey, but the number is no longer in service. Kelly tells Esperanza that Ramsey didn’t answer and he’s gone back to Utah. Esperanza says she needs for Kelly to check on Louise and the police will be there any second. In my world, it’s been nearly an hour since the they were called. Kelly sees a trail of blood going into (or out of) Randal’s house. A lot of blood. She follows it, telling Esperanza it’s all over the place. Esperanza tells her to keep going and asks where the blood leads. Kelly says she doesn’t want to know. Esperanza says she needs to know where the trail leads, saying the baby could be hurt. No emergency operator in their right mind would asks a civilian to do this. Kelly says the blood is coming out of Marcie and Randal’s house. She says the door is kicked in and she can’t go in there. Esperanza tells her to go in, but Kelly says she’s waiting for the police. Esperanza tells her to look in and tell her what she sees. A bloody hand sticks out from behind an ottoman.

Kelly tells Esperanza she sees a bloody body.

Next time, Andrew threatens to go to the captain, Justice’s father bugs Kelly some more, Esperanza tells Eddie his days are numbered, and Julius asks Ben if he wants someone killed.

Below Deck

The crew gets ready for a new charter. Nico video chats with a girlfriend and complains about his altercation with Trevor. Kelley does exercises. He wants to keep Trevor motivated, but he’s still going to have to deal with his attitude. Ben makes another amazing breakfast. Nico talks to Sierra about what happened with Trevor. Trevor stumbles out of bed. In his interview, he does that “we were all drunk” thing that I hate. No. You were drunk.

Trevor sits down to breakfast and there’s silence. In his interview, Kelley says that crossing personal boundaries, even in your off time, is uncool. Kate tells Emily about what happened. Frankly, I think Trevor is a few bricks short of a load.

Lauren asks Nico how sleeping in the guest quarters was, and he jokes champagne popping. He wonders how the argument even started in the first place, and why Trevor felt the need to be insulting when they were supposed to be relaxing.

Emily burns a sheet because she left the iron on. Kate isn’t mad, but doesn’t want it happening again and thinks they might need a needlepoint sampler with instructions on the back of the door.

The primary guests also own yachts. There are two couples, some friends, and a poodle named Scupper. Ben isn’t thrilled about cooking for a dog. The guests want to have a clam bake, which Ben isn’t thrilled about either.

Ben says he’s making a nine-course tasting menu for the dog and Kate suggests they focus on the dog and give the guests the leftovers. Captain Lee informs them that the clam bake will be at 4:30 because at dusk, the bugs come out. Ben wants to call it an early dinner so the guests won’t want dinner later.

Kelley calls Trevor to the deck. He says Trevor’s behavior was unacceptable and he’s no longer a senior deckhand. He’s not allowed to boss anyone around. From now on, he just does the deck chores he’s supposed to. Kelley says if Trevor makes another misstep, he’s going to push for him to be gone. Trevor says he’s down, but not out. I’d call him a few clowns short of a circus.

Sierra tells Emily about how her father died when she was younger. She says everyone grieved in their own way and the family kind of drifted apart. In her interview, she tells us that she found what she needed in yachting.

Kelley tells Captain Lee about how he demoted Trevor. In his interview, the captain thinks Kelley is doing a great job.

The captain calls everyone on deck for a delivery. Whatever it is, it’s heavy

Scupper arrives! Douglas is the main dude after Scupper. Kate does the tour and asks the guests about their own yachts. Is this like a bus-man’s holiday? In her interview, Kate says she’s pretty sure Scupper gets treated better than 90% of the children in the US. Douglas asks to have Scupper’s tuxedo steamed. Douglas tells Kate not to stress Ben. He must have seen the show before.

They have to dock in a small marina and the wind is blowing against the yacht, making it harder. The guests concur that the captain knows his way around a boat. The crew takes the supplies to shore and Scupper throws up some yellow stuff. To his credit, Douglas offers to clean it up.

It’s time for the clam bake and I can’t stand it because I’d love to be a guest on this boat. These people don’t seem like heavy drinkers either, which is probably easier on the crew. The guests ask for dinner at nine when they haven’t even started on the clam bake. Apparently, the flies are being a pain and Ben apologizes. Ben thinks Kate must have called the clam bake something other than dinner when he finds out he has to cook another meal. She says there are three certain things – death, taxes and Ben getting angry when he has to cook food. She tells him even if she’d called it their last meal ever, they’d still get hungry later.

Ben gets testy and Kate explains to Sierra that he’s having a diva moment. Ben complains to Kelley about the guests thinking there’s going to be a sit-down dinner later. One of the guests picks up on Ben being pissed because of the dinner move up. Not a good look.

Sierra asks Trevor to ask Kelley for more trash bags. When Kelley tells him to say the magic word, Trevor gets angry and insults Kelley to the girls. Lauren tells him to let it go, but he says he’s going to f-ing lose it.

They get back to the boat and Ben says he’ll talk to the guests. Kate says he’s being a total d*ck and trying to do her job. Ben suggests it would be more fun to have something informal like a tapas option, and the guests are afraid of him, so they agree. Ben and Kate argue in the galley. He says if she can’t communicate with the guests, he will. Kelley suggests closing the galley door if they’re going to argue. Why? The guests are finding this very entertaining.

Douglas or whoever, helps prepare Scupper’s meal since Scupper also takes 75,000 supplements. The crew brings the supplies back and Kelley wants to talk to Trevor again. Kelley tells Trevor he’s the only problem Kelley has and next time just go with the flow.

I love the table setting! It’s very zen with colored glass pebbles all over. A guest asks for a gin and tonic, and Sierra asks if they want alcohol in that. He says, um, that would be the gin part. First up is a crab cake that I desperately want to taste. Seared tuna! One of the guests says something to Kate about Ben, and suggests they ask for a full breakfast at 6 am. Kate says they’re only there for two days so they should be able to eat what and when they want. Hear! Hear!

Captain Lee tells the crew to get ready for departure. Trevor sits around looking at his feet. The water is incredibly blue and beautiful, as is the day. Scupper is having the time of his life. Eggs Benedict Florentine with turkey bacon! Ben asks Kate if they’re happy and she says the only one who isn’t happy is him.Captain Lee says he needs four shots dropped and I get out the Wild Turkey. Scupper has to make poopie, which Trevor calls using the restroom, because he’s a few beers short of a six-pack.

Ben asks Kate to make an agreement. She tells him see you next Tuesday, and he says she’s a Tuesday. She says she’s a Tuesday every day of the week. In his interview, Ben says he hates arguing with her because he can’t ruffle her and basically she’s better at it.

The crew is trying to set up some kind of pool thing – the thing that was delivered at the beginning of the episode. It’s got some kind of net so the guests can swim without coming in contact with sea creatures. Okay, but isn’t that part of the fun?

Scupper dresses in his tux for dinner – seafood on a heavenly cloud. Kelley calls his sister, Amy, who is on another boat with a captain she’s dating. We flash back to when she was on the show. He tells her about Trevor and his altercation with Nico. She says something about three dudes in a hot tub arguing over a tattoo and it sounds like the start of a joke. Or a porn movie.

Dessert is I don’t know what, some kind of fluffy, frothy thing in a tall coffee glass. Just keep ’em comin’. Some of the guests use the hot tub and Kate texts her girlfriend. The guests ask Trevor to have a shot. In his interview, he says what’s one shot to a guy like him who can drink a whole bottle? Because he’s a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Emily says this is a huge no-no, but she’s not into tattling.

The last breakfast is so good, there isn’t even conversation because everyone is concentrating on eating. Time to go. The guests are pleased and glad they could just kick back without having to deal with their own boats. When the crew cleans up, Trevor examines his feet again. Because he’s a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

Captain Lee gathers everyone for tip time. He suggests they work on communication. Ben says it’s diabolical. The haul is $12,000 or $1,085 a piece. They can go out tonight, but tomorrow’s a work day. The crew tries to get as much done as possible before relaxing. Emily does some yoga on the deck and Kelley reminds us that it’s been five months. I remind him that I don’t want to know.

The crew goes out for dinner on shore. Lauren makes a toast and says let’s get weird. Trevor chugs a martini and gives Kate hair advice because he was a Paul Mitchell model. The crew plays on a swingset while Trevor orders 10 different drinks. He falls off of a swing that’s totally still.

Kelley chats up Emily, who is newly single. They play a large-sized game of Jenga. In his interview, Ben says Trevor is past his inebriated threshold. Trevor calls Kate a bitch and Ben says he’s the only one allowed to do that. Trevor tells him to chill out. At this point, Trevor is so incoherent, there are subtitles. Ben tells him no more for you.

Next time, a charter of entrepreneurs, Ben stresses over a 12-course tasting menu, the hot tub overflows on Trevor’s watch, and Trevor argues with Kelley (and might possibly be going home).

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Andre goes to Jordan’s office. She needs his help finding the killer before the hospital suffers. Nathan joins them and says the hospital will have to be shut down if they don’t find the killer.

Paul talks to Susan on the phone. He wishes he could be there for her birthday, but he has a commitment to keep – for her. He says if everything goes as planned, he’ll be finished soon. He says he has one more present on his list and she just walked in.

The new Perks baseball hats come in. Kiki likes them, but Morgan says they’re not exactly right. He gets very anal about it and then says no big deal. Kiki suggests they ditch work and go for a swim. I’m in! She says his only customer left a stack of books on the table and he says they’re his. He’s enrolled in PCU. Kiki isn’t that enthusiastic and he tells her to restrain herself. She thinks business and marketing might be a heavy workload, and he thinks she doesn’t believe him.

Sabrrrina talks to Tracy while wearing some really cute purple scrubs. Tracy tells her to keep her resume updated. The hospital might be closed by tomorrow.

Hayden wakes up on Finn’s couch. He asks for help with his shot and asks how she’s feeling. She says better than when she was in the interrogations room and thanks him for his help. She wants to help him too, but he says his problem is his. She says he’s not the only one with the disease and asks if he’s too proud to let her help others.

Franco whispers to Elizabeth while she sleeps. He tells her she has a secret sister. She stirs a little. Sabrrrina walks in and he says Elizabeth is stable, but not awake. Sabrrrina says rest provides healing. She thinks Franco must be delirious from lack of sleep and escorts him out. She tells him to get some food and take a nap. He says she doesn’t care about him, but she says Elizabeth does.

Monica talks to Tracy over coffee. Tracy just came from an emergency board meeting and the board wants to close GH. She says this so loud, I’m surprised heads don’t turn. Shouldn’t this be on the QT?

Nathan and Jordan go over all the people who have been murdered and the attempted murders. Andre asks about the timing and if there’s any connection between the victims, but there’s nothing. Jordan says a syringe was found in the locker room and maybe the target was another staff member.

Elizabeth wakes up saying Franco’s name and “secret sister.”

Jordan thinks maybe the killer was thrown off of his intended target and that’s why he got rid of the syringe. Nathan brings up the blackout. Andre says no one was killed, but Elizabeth was pushed down the stairs and maybe everything is connected.

Monica tells Tracy to get the board to back off and she’s like, oh yeah, sure. Paul joins them and I realize what his motive is. Tracy explains what’s going on. He asks if the hospital can survive a shut-down like that.

Sabrrrina asks Elizabeth what she was saying about a secret sister. Elizabeth doesn’t remember, and asks her why she’s in scrubs. Sabrrrina tells her that she’s back on staff and Elizabeth is her first patient. Elizabeth asks what happened, and Sabrrrina tells her about the spleen thing, but says someone donated blood. She tells her about Franco and says the police might also want to talk to her. Elizabeth wonders why, since it was Hayden who pushed her. Sabrrrina tells her that Hayden was released.

Hayden tells Finn about her deal with Franco and says that she’ll sell the diamonds to fund the research. Finn says they should have this conversation when she has the diamonds. She asks if he’d prefer discussing their feelings and brings up the kiss. Finn says she’d been drinking and neither one of them were thinking straight, but she doesn’t buy it. He says he’s still dying and still in love with his wife.

Kiki tells Morgan he’s being unfair and that she’s stuck by him. He says she didn’t even congratulate him. She says he never expressed an interest in college. He says he’s sick of handing out espressos, but Kiki interjects that he’s never liked school. He says it was years ago, when he didn’t have a purpose and wasn’t thinking about the future. He says he’s not an un-medicated nutjob now. She thinks he should give it more thought. He says maybe she’s threatened, since she’s directionless. He immediately apologizes. She tells him to get back to his books and she’ll get back to going nowhere. Ouch.

Darby shows up at Perks. She asks if Morgan is okay, and he says yes, other than having to tell his girlfriend he had an STI. Darby says someone should tell his girlfriend to take a step back and see what she’s got in him. Yeah, an un-medicated nutjob.

Franco shows up at the bar and tells Kiki a nurse kicked him out. He asks if she has any tips about Elizabeth for after she gets out of the hospital. She tells him to back off and that Elizabeth hasn’t even recovered from surgery yet. She says he reminds her of Morgan right now. She tells him to slow down and let Elizabeth’s family be there for her.

Finn says he’d never lie to Hayden and the reason he gets up in the morning is to find a cure for the disease that took his wife. She says if he’d never come to Port Charles, that they wouldn’t have met, but he says he likes to think their paths would have crossed somewhere and quotes Hemmingway. He says perhaps if things were different, and she says, but they’re not. She says she’s still grieving too, and rebounds are always a bad idea, but she’s still going to make things right for once.

Elizabeth is shocked that Hayden is out of jail. She insists that Hayden pushed her down the stairs and starts getting excited and tries to get out of bed. Sabrrrina tells her to just say what she needs and she’ll deal with it. Elizabeth tells her she has something of Hayden’s, a pouch full of diamonds that Hayden was hiding. She says if she turns them over to the cops, Hayden goes to prison. She tells Sabrrrina where they are. Sabrrrina says she’ll take them to the police if Elizabeth promises to stay put.

Nathan says it’s too coincidental to have two would-be murderers. Andre says they need to assume whoever pushed Elizabeth down the stairs is also the killer. Jordan wonders why the killer would deviate, and Andre says it‘s situational. He says that it’s possible that Elizabeth found out something she isn’t even aware of, but before that, the killer was very specific about who he wanted dead.

Monica talks about two other times the hospital was shut down. She says they can take care of the victim’s families, but the longer the hospital is closed, the longer the staff has to find other employment. Tracy says they can still block the closure and tells Paul to get the police on it or GH will close for good.

Morgan tells Darby about going back to school. She’s like, no way, and he wonders why everyone is reacting like that. She says she’s just surprised and congratulates him. He says he already has a paper due and hasn’t even read the material. Darby suggests buying a paper.

Andre says serial killers are notoriously rigid about their patterns. Nathan brings up Dr. Mays. Andre tells him maybe it’s not a serial killer and they’re looking for something that’s not there. He says maybe it’s someone with a particular ax to grind against particular issue. He asks why each patient was in the hospital. Jordan looks through the files and they all had similar stomach problems. Andre says it’s no accident that they ended up at GH.

Finn asks Tracy what’s up, and she says impending doom. He’s like, before lunch? She says she needs his expertise.

Franco wolfs down his meal, telling Kiki that toast is his lucky breakfast food. He blames himself for not being there for Elizabeth and Kiki says that’s not just self absorbed, it’s crazy. He says he made the blood transfusion happen and neither one of them will ever know the truth. Kiki asks what truth, but he says it’s best he doesn’t tell her, but then asks for her advice on whether to tell Elizabeth. She asks what he thinks.

Hayden goes to Elizabeth’s room. Elizabeth asks if Sabrrrina is back already and Hayden says, guess again.

Morgan scoffs at buying a paper. Darby says he said he’s behind, you can get any paper for twenty bucks, and it’s okay to do if you’re stuck. He says what’s the point of going to school if he’s not going to learn. She tells him he’s noble and she’ll see him on campus.

Jordan says she had Epiphany check the records and they all had the same stomach bug. Nathan wonders why make people sick just to kill them. Andre says maybe the hospital itself is another victim.

Tracy talks to Finn about what’s happening with the hospital. He says if the hospital closes, the closest one won’t be able to handle the overflow and on a personal note, he can’t move his research.

Kiki tells Franco to trust his instincts and do what he thinks is right. She says she would chose diplomacy, because some people like living in their own world, but ultimately he has to do what’s right for him. Yeah, like get to Elizabeth’s kitchen where she stashed the diamonds. Sabrrrina calls Franco, saying Elizabeth is awake and alert and wants to see him.

Elizabeth starts to freak, saying Hayden tried to kill her. Hayden says Elizabeth wouldn’t be there screaming like an idiot if it wasn’t for her. She tells Elizabeth about the deal she made with Franco. Elizabeth says the diamonds are gone and she’s going back to jail.

Kiki calls Morgan and he apologizes. He says she has a lot going on in her life right now and he knows she’ll get back on track. She says she’s sorry too, and she’s supportive of whatever he decides. She tells him to get back to work cracking the books. He’s playing solitaire on his laptop.

Andre thinks the hospital and victims have wronged the killer somehow, and he’s looking at it as payback. Nathan gets a call and goes out into the station. He meets Sabrrrina and she gives him the pouch. No, no, no, no, no! She explains that Hayden was hiding them. Why did Sabrrrina do this when Elizabeth was obviously wrong about Hayden pushing her? Better yet, why is Elizabeth doing this when she has done so much worse, like standing by while Nicholas had Hayden shot? Why am I even asking?

Elizabeth tells Hayden she’d better run and that they’re coming for her. Hayden says Elizabeth had no right to get in her business. She tells Elizabeth that she saved her life and this is how Elizabeth repaid her. Hayden says next time someone pushes her self-righteous ass down the stairs, she’s on her own. Franco comes in and tells her to be nice. That’s her sister.

Jordan says the killer has a vendetta against the hospital. Andre says they have to find a common thread before he kills again.

Tracy asks Finn to speak to the board because he does quantifiable good at the hospital and the board likes quantifiable things. She tells him Monica is pursuing other avenues and they’re not taking this lying down.

Monica answers her office phone. Paul comes in behind her with a syringe.

Tomorrow, Carly tells Sonny that Julian is going to prison and they’ll have their lives back, Sabrrrina finds Monica, and Franco spills the sister beans.

If Loving You is Wrong

Alex looks frantically for her baby. She sees a trail of blood and follows it into Randal’s house where she sees a huge puddle of it. She goes out to the infamous shed, but nothing there. She goes back into the house and hears moaning. It’s Randal’s mother calling for Marcie.

Louise is covered in blood. She says to call the police and that it was that man next door and Alex who did it. Alex is horrified. Louise keeps calling her Marcie and asks why she’s just standing there. She realizes that Alex isn’t Marcie and pleads with Alex not to kill her. She tells Alex to get out and says she’s calling the police and telling them it was her. Alex runs out the door, and Louise passes out.

Alex goes back home, not knowing what the blip to do. So she calls her mother. Why? Why, Alex, why? Oddly enough, her hillbilly parents have an answering machine where she leaves an incoherent message.

Meanwhile, at the shooting site, Lushion calls for an ambulance. Faun calls out for Joey, asking if he’s okay. Natalie comes out and starts kicking one of the bodies, I’m assuming the guy who shot Joey. Lushion grabs her and says he’s called the police and to get herself together. She wants to know why Joey isn’t moving. She goes to Faun and tells her that it’s not her fault and to save her strength. Faun says she had the money and Joey was trying to protect her. She keeps asking if Joey is okay, but Natalie says she doesn’t know. Lushion calls again for an ambulance. Lushion tells Natalie to ask if Faun can feel her toes.

Esperanza is with her daughter at Kelly’s place and they’ve just had dinner. Kelly tells thekids to go in the other room, which her son determines is code for they want to have girl talk. Esperanza apologizes for Kelly having to pinch hit for her, and says she picked up a shift at the last minute. She asks Kelly what happened with Ramses, and Kelly said he’s mad at her for jumping to conclusions about the woman who was in his house. She says she apologized, but she doesn’t want to run after him. Esperanza calls her stubborn. Kelly says she’s surprised Eddie lets Esperanza work the night shifts, but Esperanza says he’s her ex and is going to stay her ex and has no say.

Esperanza asks Kelly what the look is for. Kelly says Justice’s father called. He’s out of jail and wants to come live with her. Esperanza is shocked. She says this man Kelly never talks about wants to live with her? Kelly says they haven’t spoken in four years, but he thinks she owes him for going to jail. She says he was involved in something illegal when they were together and he took the fall for both of them. She says she was young and stupid and it was something that could ruin her life. Since she had Justice, his father saved her ass. Esperanza says she needs to tell him he can’t come, but Kelly says it’s easier said than done, and admits owes him.

Kelly informs Justice that Esperanza’s daughter is staying overnight, so he’ll have to bunk with mom. Esperanza tells Kelly to call her later.

Skeevy Eddie asks Ben what happened with Pete. Ben says Pete is still in his hospital bed. He says there are cameras, but Eddie isn’t having any. He still wants Ben to kill Pete. Ben says Andrew’s girlfriend is also the nurse. He says he’s been feeling badly about Pete, and keeps flashing back to Pete trying to call for backup. Eddie tells him this is no time to find Jesus and he needs Pete taken out. Ben says that Pete might not even remember when he wakes up, but Eddie doesn’t want to take any chances. He tells him to find Claudia too. Ben says how, just ask people? Eddie tells him when everyone leaves, go through the database. Ben asks what about Andrew and Eddie says he’ll take care of that right now.

Eddie leaves and Ben makes noises about how Eddie shouldn’t keep messing with him. Steve comes by his desk and asks him if he’s talking to himself. He asks how Pete is doing and Ben says no changes. Steve says he’ll call the doctor later. Ben asks how long he’s on Pete duty and Steve says for as long as it takes. Which I guess means until they bump Pete off.

Eddie sees Andrew in the locker room. Andrew asks if he’s okay and Eddie says he’s not good. Not at all. He wants to know what Andrew’s girlfriend is doing putting cameras in Pete’s room. Andrew acts ignorant. Eddie says if Andrew has something to say to him, he needs to say it to him. He asks what Andrew has to say, and Andrew says he doesn’t know what Eddie is talking about. Eddie says Andrew’s girlfriend couldn’t have put the cameras in by herself and he wouldn’t want her to get shot. Andrew tells him not to threaten his girlfriend and Eddie slaps him. Eddie tells him to learn the ropes so he doesn’t get hung by them. Idiot.

A bunch of guys go running out of the station. Eddie asks Steve what happened, and Steve tells him to get to the car. Instead, Eddie sits down and Steve tells him to get in the car – now. Eddie tells Ben it’s quiet right now, so he needs to get the deets on Claudia. When Eddie is gone, Andrew tells Ben that he shouldn’t let Eddie lead him down the wrong path and he knows what the two of them are doing. He says the cameras aren’t coming down and they’re going down. Eddie tells him he’s the fool in this place, and if he doesn’t get with Eddie, he’s gonna get got. Andrew says he doesn’t know what Ben is talking about. Ben says Andrew that he’s nobody if there isn’t someone watching his back. Andrew says he does have someone, and funny how Ben can stand up to everyone except Eddie. He asks what Eddie has on him and if it’s drugs. He says he knows Ben was on a lot of pain meds in the hospital. Ben punches him out and says he has more seniority and more skills and don’t make him whoop his ass again.

Ben goes to the computer in Steve’s office. This place is more lax than the police station in Port Charles.

Alex is crying and quietly freaking out. Why she’s just waiting for her mother to call her back and not calling the police, I have no clue. She calls her mother again, saying to herself that it’s been a half hour. For the love of all that’s holy, is she just going to let Louise drown in her own blood? She calls Brad and gets voicemail. She leaves a message that it’s an emergency. She calls back again immediately, crying and asking him to pick up the phone.

Alex calls Marcie, who says, hey bitch what do you want? Alex begs Marcie to put Brad on the phone. Marcie tells her to call Brad’s phone and she says she did. Alex says she knows he’s there, but Marcie says he isn’t. Alex asks if Marcie knows where he is, and Marcie asks if Alex knows where her husband is. Alex begs her to put Brad on, but Marcie says don’t call her again. She hangs up and calls Brad, telling him Alex called and sounded desperate. He says he’s in the middle of something, but when he’s done, he’ll call her.

Looks like he’s in the middle of burying something…or someone.

Andrew pulls Julius over and asks for his license and registration. Julius asks for his name and he repeats himself and tells Julius to take the documents out slowly. Andrew looks at the papers and asks Julius if he’s been drinking. Julius asks if Andrew knows that’s illegal and Andrew asks him again. Julius says he was drinking before he was driving. Andrew does not think that’s funny and Julius asks where his sense of humor is. Andrew says he lost it with all the people who lost their lives because of someone like him, and tells him to get out of the car. He’s under arrest. As he hustles Julius to the squad car, Julius says he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Andrew checks Julius’s car. Julius sees Andrew’s notebook where he has stuff about Ben written. When Andrew comes back, Julius asks if he’s sure he wants to do this. Julius asks about his car and Andrew says it will probably be towed. Julius tells him he’s making a mistake, but he could use someone like him in his organization. Andrew says he already has a job. Julius tells him that he could make a lot more money, but Andrew says he’s fine where he is. Julius asks if Andrew knows his name and Andrew says it’s right on his license. Julius says if he’s going to take notes on fellow officers he shouldn’t leave them out on the seat. He asks if Andrew knows Eddie and asks questions about the notes, but Andrew ignores him and starts the car. Julius calls him a rookie. I’m wondering if Andrew is going to survive this episode.

Travis sits on Kelly’s porch. The kids come out and make small talk with him. Kelly makes them go inside and asks what Travis is doing there. She tells him to go home. He says he wanted to see her and she says well, you did, go home. He grabs her and she scrambles to get free. She tells him to go home and he says he is home. She says no, go home to yo momma. He says he can’t believe she had sex with him and then didn’t return his calls. He grabs her again and throws her up against the side of the house. He says they belong together. She struggles with him, telling him never to come back again. He says he’ll pay her and tries to kiss her. She says she can’t breathe and he’s not going to take advantage of her. He says he wants to hurt her like she did him.

Randal pounds on the box he’s trapped in underground. Ooh, it’s like Kill Bill Vol. 2. He hears someone laughing. He calls out that he can hear them and yells for help. We hear Alex’s father saying, “Yell all you want, boy.” Not a good sign. Randal screams nooo! as Rusty says he’s going to die.

I love this show.

Next time, Julius goes to jail, Kelly apologizes to Travis, and Alex goes to Kelly for help.

Below Deck

Kelley talks to Captain Lee about Trevor. The captain tells him to tell Trevor no one is indispensable, and basically tells Kelly to figure it out for himself.

Kate says she wishes all the guests were this social media obsessed. She could just lie in her bunk and tweet them when dinner was ready and post menu options.

Kelley seeks Trevor out. In his interview, Trevor says the deckhands should have come directly to him if they had a problem.

Kate instructs the other stews on how to do a beach party. She says she used to love beach parties until she became chief stew. Now she stays behind. Chef Ben says they’re running out of gluten free, fat free, tasteless ingredients. Kelley has Nico load the inflatable boat. Sierra and Emily talk about Kate having a girlfriend.

Trevor pretends he has something else to do, so he doesn’t have to help Nico. He’s miffed because Nico complained about him to Kelley. Trevor takes his sweet time getting over to the beach. Like the jerk he is, when he gets to the shore, he tosses Nico a broom so it lands in the water. Nico says Trevor should at least act like he’s working. On the yacht, primary guest Allison talks about how hot dogs lead to childhood leukemia.

Kate is pleased with her stews and their eagerness to learn. That is unusual for this show. Kate gets the guests ready and they head to the beach. As always, the food looks fabulous. Ben and Kate discuss tonight’s dinner.

Kelley flirts with guest Kelsey without flirting. Emily and Sierra discuss how cute the crew is. The guests frolic in the surf. The beach party is over all too soon. Kate tells the captain how thrilled she is with her team. Nico complains to Lauren about how Trevor acted like an idiot and he had to do all the work.

Trevor babbles at Ben while Ben cooks dinner. Lauren helps in the galley, doing mindless chores, which she finds almost therapeutic. Kelley tells us it’s been five months. I don’t want to know. Another amazing dinner is served. One of the guests has an aversion to barley and Ben says it’s tough keeping up with all the restrictions. The guests talk about how cute Kelley is, while he tells the deckhands that guest Ashley was making googly eyes at him on the beach. OMG – someone’s Wi-Fi isn’t working. Oh the humanity of it! Or lack thereof.

Ben presents himself at dinner. He questions whether the guests are actually eating the food or just posting it on Instagram. After Kelley is hunkered down for the night, Kelsey gets ahold of a walkie-talkie and calls him. She requests that he play a Battleship type game with her.

Trevor shows off his tattoos, and tells Emily and Lauren the stories behind each one like he’s The Illustrated Man. Sierra brings the captain a cup of coffee. She’s put the entire sugar packet in it – I mean the actual packet, not just the contents – and he says it must be time released sugar. Ha-ha! Captain Lee looks out to Trevor doing arm signals to help steer him toward shore and doesn’t know what the blip Trevor is signaling. Kelley informs everyone that he and Kelsey are following each other on Instagram. Must be love.

Ben gets annoyed because he’s burned the toast two days in a row and it’s the stews’ job. Kate tells him that she didn’t even know toast was supposed to be happening. Ben argues so much about it, I don’t think it’s about the toast. It’s about it being early in the morning. Later he apologizes. Sort of. They do a pretend hug.

It’s time to dock. Captain Lee says Trevor needs to learn how to control his mouth and just do what he’s told. The guests ask to take pictures of the deckhands. In his interview, Trevor says Kelley is a hypocrite, since they’re not supposed to get close to the guests and he’s all about Kelsey. Kelley calls Trevor to get a cart or something, and Trevor gives him a hard time. Does he not realize that Kelley is his boss?

It’s good-by to the guests. Allison gives Captain Lee the envelope and says, hashtag loveyouall. It’s tip time! Captain Lee compliments the interior crew and says the deck staff is doing okay, but should dial it back a bit. He says it’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon. The staff gets 15 large, or $1300 and change per person. The crew can go out, but tomorrow, it’s back to work.

While the other guys are cleaning, Trevor buys a car online. Captain Lee is baffled that he’s doing this right in front of him. Nico says they spend half the day talking about Trevor and the other half talking to him. Kate radios Trevor about a plumbing problem in the bathroom. She says it delicately, but it sounds like the toilet won’t flush. Yep, that’s it. After he finishes with that, Kelley calls him to the main deck. He says he’s busy, and Kelley just repeats that he wants him on deck. In his interview, Trevor says he’s been a bosun and could teach Kelley a thing or two. When Trevor gets there, Kelley tells him to never say he’s busy, especially when Captain Lee can hear. Kelley tells Trevor he’s poor at communication.

Trevor and Ben start drinking early while everyone else gets ready to go out. They go to a tiki bar and Kelley makes a toast to a great first charter. Since Kelsey is gone now, Kelley flirts with Emily. Drinking and eating commences. Trevor gets weird when Kelley doesn’t want another drink at the moment. In his interview, Ben says Trevor seems like the type that can go off at any moment. Dancing happens. Trevor begins to be an annoying drunk, bragging about his money and how much he can drink. On the way back to the boat, Nico tells Trevor to slow down.

Back at the yacht, Trevor says things that make no sense. Kelley tells him he needs to guide the deckhands, not boss them around. Trevor keeps saying something about being undermined and says it’s not the alcohol talking. I believe it if you believe it. He gets in the hot tub. Nico begs Lauren not to leave him with Trevor and Kelley.

Trevor insults Nico’s tattoos. He talks about being undermined again when Kelley tells him that he’s rude. Nico leaves and tells Trevor to keep his opinons to himself. Kelley tells Trevor that was a perfect example of his leadership and he doesn’t respect anyone. In his interview, Kelley wonders if Trevor has more than one brain cell, or is it just one bumping against the side of his head. Trevor tries to argue with Kelley, who tells him it’s time to go to bed and that’s an order.

In his interview, Trevor says Kelley blew it out of proportion and he already has a dad. Nico is concerned about going back to his cabin with this nut, and Kate tells him to sleep in a guest room. Trevor wants to talk to Nico and Ben stops him, saying that’s a bad idea. Kelley tells Trevor to go to bed again, and they’ll talk in the morning. In his interview, Trevor says sh*t’s hitting the fan soon. I can’t wait.

Next time, the Valor gets a poodle as a guest, another beach party, Kate and Ben argue, and Trevor drinks during charter.

September 6, 2016 – GH’s Wedding Concludes, HAHN Finales & the Original Below Deck Returns

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Sam and Jason’s wedding continues. Out of all the lovely outfits, I’m drawn to Danny’s blue ombre shirt.

Ava tracks down Paul. She thinks he’s avoiding her. She wants to discuss the strategy for Julian’s trial now, or she’s going to the cops.

Curtis asks Finn how much trouble Hayden is in. Finn says for one thing, she’s been arrested for murder. He says it’s complicated and Curtis says it always is. Finn says Hayden is innocent and they have to get her out.

Naomi tells Franco that Elizabeth is in the hospital and now is not a good time to tell her she shares a father with Hayden.

Monica tells Elizabeth that Sam and Jason are getting married. She says it’s just a small wedding, like this makes it better news. Monica gets a call and has to step outside. Elizabeth asks Sabrrrina if she was invited. Sabrrrina says yes, but she wanted to stay with Elizabeth and didn’t say anything about it for obvious reasons.

Spinelli begins to officiate. No surprise, he uses a lot of big words. He asks Jason and Sam if they’re ready to be married. He tells the guests that the size of the wedding shows them how important they are to the couple. He says they helped Jason and Sam become who they are today, and they’re here to join their lives for the rest of their lives. He talks about them being separated and how nothing could keep them apart. Dammit! He blew it by using that word I hate – soulmates – but I let it pass. He says the couple has prepared their own vows and Sam is like, really? we did?

Elizabeth tells Sabrrrina she’ll probably always love Jason, but she’s glad he’s moving on with his life and she is too. Sabrrrina wants to know who she’s dating and Elizabeth tells her it’s Franco.

Franco talks to himself or God or something. He says the one time he tried to do the right thing, it was the wrong thing, and he’ll just wait until he hears from the universe.

Naomi visits Hayden, who is still in the interrogation room, and tells her everything is going to be fine.

Curtis wonders why Hayden got arrested, and Finn says Franco found her standing over Elizabeth when she got pushed down the stairs. Curtis says sometimes the cops build a case too soon, and then need to prove themselves right. He says he wants to prove Hayden innocent. Valerie suddenly appears at the bar and asks if that’s so. I hate to be picky – even though I always am and think I deserve it after a 50 year investment in this show – but Valerie is pretty far away to have heard that. It’s not like Curtis was shouting.

Commercial break. Great. I’m confused as to what day of the week it is, because, holiday on a Monday. I’m also trying to shake my Z-Nation longing after watching it for nearly 24 hours.

Valerie is picking up lunch, on her break from “railroading innocent people.” Finn suddenly discovers the jukebox and gets away form the conversation. Curtis apologizes but says he knows Hayden and she’s not a killer. Valerie disagrees.

Naomi tells Hayden their lawyers are on it. Hayden says she hopes they believe she’s innocent. Hope they do better than they did for her father too.

Elizabeth tells Sabrrrina about getting to know Franco and how he’s not what people think. She says she tried to fight it and couldn’t. Sabrrrina says she understand more than Elizabeth might think, but other people might not see him the same way. Elizabeth says if they want to be stupid, so be it, but Sabrrrina says she won’t. She hopes things turn out better than they did for her and Carrrlos.

Paul tells Ava he can’t just drop the charges. Ava asks him what the plan is then.

Spinelli says he just assumed Jason and Sam wrote their own vows and looks for vows on his phone. Sam says never mind, there is something she’d like to say. She talks about how Jason is a partner, but doesn’t take away from her independence; he makes her more, not less. He taught her that the greatest risk of all was letting another person into her heart, and he made her want to take that risk. She promises to love him unconditionally, cherish all their moments together, and honor him and their family until death do them part and beyond. Buzz Lightyear pops into my head. Jason says he promised himself if he ever found Sam again, he’d never let her go. He lists all the things he loves about her and says he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He says he’s not one for tradition, but recites the traditional vows. They exchange rings and Spinelli pronounces them husband and wife. They kiss. Very nice!

There’s dancing, and Alexis hits the champagne some more. Jake and Danny poke at the cake, so Sam and Jason decide to cut into it early. It’s really pretty. White with a small bouquet of flowers on top, and a lacy contrasting border at the bottom of each tier. It’s traditional white cake and Danny says he prefers chocolate. I understand and actually had a chocolate cake with chocolate icing at my reception. When I told everyone what it was going to be, my maid of honor said, “You can’t do that!” and I said, “Watch me!” Carly takes the kids into the kitchen to find chocolate. Sam feeds Jason a piece of cake and he puts icing on her nose. They goof around and kiss.

Sabrrrina says one of the things that makes Elizabeth a good nurse and friend is her perception, and if Elizabeth says Franco is recovered, she believes it. Sabrrrina takes a look at Elizabeth’s vitals and thinks they’re odd. She leaves to get someone else to check.

Paul tells Ava that every step is a chance for him to undermine the process. He says Julian will get off unless she opens her mouth and screws things up. She says she’ll be watching him. Sabrrrina overhears.

Alexis talks to her daughters, telling Sam that she’s happy for her; she has a man who loves her and that she can trust. Molly asks if she’s okay and Alexis says she’s allowed to be emotional as the mother of the bride. It’s obvious she’s starting to get drunk.

Jason thanks Spinelli for officiating. He says it’s his pleasure, but he was surprised because Jason isn’t one for a party. Jason says it’s all about family and their kids can also say they were there. Spinelli asks if they’re going to try for another child and Jason says maybe someday. Yeah, like 8.75 months from now.

Curtis tells Valerie he knows Hayden better than she does and she’s not a murderer. Valerie says there’s evidence. Curtis says not enough to make a case, but she Valerie says they’re working on it. He tells her to make sure she works to solve the case, not prove herself right. Valerie says she was trained to be impartial and examine evidence, and asks if Curtis trusts her.

Naomi tells Hayden that they have to make sure justice is served, with a nudge from their legal team. Hayden is worried about Elizabeth squealing about the diamonds and going to prison anyway.

Paul asks if he can help Sabrrrina. She says she couldn’t help noticing him talking to Ava and asks if he should be consorting with her. He claims he was telling her not to intervene on her brother’s behalf, now that she’s on the straight and narrow. Paul is going to end up having to kill everyone in the hospital pretty soon.

Sabrrrina runs into Monica. She tells her that Elizabeth’s vitals seem kind of off and Monica says she’ll have someone look in on her. She asks Sabrrrina about rejoining the staff.

Alexis tells Sam to throw the bouquet to her and she’ll hold it in reserve until after the divorce. Molly suggests she get some water and leads her away. Kristina asks Sam if she’d like champagne, but Sam says no. Kristina says all the more for her.

Carly takes pictures. She and Sonny go off to get cake. Jason and Michael talk. Jason tells Michael what a fine man he’s grown to be and that he’s proud of him. Michael says he was lucky to grow up with good people around him, including Jason and Sam. He’s glad they found their way back to one another.

Carly makes a toast. She tells Jason he deserves happiness more than anyone she knows. She tells Sam it took her a while ti admit it, but she’s a perfect match for Jason and welcomes her to the family. Sonny wishes them joy and happiness, and Spinelli uses some more big words. He tells Sam it’s bad luck not to drink after a toast. Carly says maybe there’s a reason and does she want to share with the class? Sam says she and Jason are having another baby.

Monica tells Sabrrrina they’re short staffed. She can’t promise anything but she’ll present the case to the board. Sabrrrina says she’d like nothing better

Curtis says he has mad respect for Valerie. She tells him to stay out of it then, and he asks if that’s a warning. She says she fights hard enough to be taken seriously and doesn’t want to fight him too. He says she doesn’t have to worry. She gets a call and has to go to the hospital. He rejoins Finn at the pool table. Finn asks if Curtis is backing out, but Curtis says he’s all in.

Franco visits Elizabeth. He tells her that he went to the station and confronted Hayden/ Elizabeth says she hopes he didn’t create a scene. He says he didn’t see her, but got clarity. He says he has something to tell her, but she might not like it. I’m guessing the universe spoke to him.

Spinelli makes a toast to the baby, hoping that he or she knows nothing but bliss, like he’s one of the Fairy Godmothers in Sleeping Beauty.

Finn wonders how Valerie will take it when she finds out Curtis is helping Hayden. Curtis says he knows Hayden is innocent.

Hayden thanks her mother for having her back. Naomi says it’s long overdue. Hayden says her support and honesty means everything. I’m sure she’s in for a disappointment.

Franco tells Elizabeth it’s not that he’s opposed to the truth, but if a lie gets him something, historically, he’s on board. Elizabeth says he’s stalling and he says she’s right. Elizabeth says whatever it is, she can handle it.

Valerie tells Monica that the syringe had no prints, which shows the killer is no amateur.

Paul revisits the stairwell and gets a text from Ava telling him not to go back on their deal. He flashes back to pushing Elizabeth down the stairs and looks ominously at the stairwell door.

Franco tells Elizabeth that it’s complicated, and realizes he’s stalling again. As he’s about to tell her what I’m assuming is that Hayden is her sister, Elizabeth goes unconscious.

Tomorrow, Morgan screws up again, Tracy tells Dillon to go for it, and Carly says it’s the best day ever, which is a sure sign that something horrible is about to happen.

The Haves and the Have Nots

The doorbell (they have one! I started to think no one did on this show) at the Cryers rings and Hannah answers it. It’s Lloyd. She lets Kathryn know and Kathryn says she just spoke to him. Lloyd tells her they have an issue; they can’t get Wyatt’s money back. DA Jennifer has gotten a judge to rule against them. Kathryn wonders if Jennifer is trying to kill Wyatt. She says if the courts won’t protect her son, she’ll have to. Lloyd apologizes for ruining her day. When he leaves, Kathryn says he’s going to ruin someone’s day, but not hers.

Hannah has to leave. Kathryn gives her the keys to Amanda’s car. Hannah says she’ll bring it back, but Kathryn says to keep it and hands her the title. Her name is on it and the gift tax is paid already. Kathryn was planning on giving it to her before she quit. Hannah says she appreciates it. Kathryn asks Hannah to come visit her. Hannah thinks that sounds weird, but says she’ll see Kathryn later.

Jeffrey gets a call from Justin while he’s visiting Wyatt. Justin says Jeffrey needs to talk to him before it’s too late, and asks where he can search. Jeffrey tells him the backyard by the garden. Jeffrey tells Justin that he needs to find the keys.

The cops are crawling all around Candace’s place. A crowd has formed, including Quita, who Pearl tells to quit leaning on the fence. A bunch of the cops bust into the townhouse.

Jeffrey gets a call and thinks it’s Candace. It’s Melissa, who wants to know where he is. He says he’s not there and Melissa hands the phone to Veronica. He tells Veronica he’s picking up a suit for tonight. She asks Melissa for privacy and tells Jeffrey to get his ass home now. She says they have a dinner party and Jeffrey needs to ask Melissa’s father for her hand in marriage. He says he’s not coming and says she has no more cards to play. She says she’ll call the DA and he says she already did. She doesn’t know what he’s talking about, so he tells her they’re searching Candace’s place. She’s surprised, and tells him he’s her only hope of getting out of this, but he tells her to go to hell.

Benny won’t talk to Candace. She tells him she’ll get the money back. Jeffrey tries to call her, but she says she can’t talk.

David picks up Erika, who finally tells him her name. He says he’s David, but she already knows that. He asks where she’d like to go. She says there’s a dive of diner around the corner that cooks Southern food like his mama. She tells him they’re walking and to lose the tie. He goes around to open her door and she says gotcha! to herself.

Jeffrey talks to the still unconscious Wyatt about Veronica making him get engaged. He says he might be away when Wyatt gets out, but he’s always loved him and always will. He says he’s sorry about not having Wyatt’s back and talks about how Veronica set him up in jail. Kathryn is at the door and wants to know what he just said. Jeffrey explains that Veronica arranged for a violent inmate to share Wyatt’s cell and Wyatt was raped. Kathryn sprints back out the door, no doubt headed for Veronica.

David is impressed with the diner food. He almost talks about his wife, but Erika stops him and says he must have really loved her. David says he still does, but it’s over. It’s too toxic and there’s no going back. He asks how old Erica is, and even though she says this is mistake number 5000-something, tells him she’s 28. He says she’s mature, but she says that’s because he hasn’t seen the kid in her. She puts a song on the jukebox and he says the blues isn’t for kids. She asks him to dance with her and he says it’s the middle of the day. I guess he lives in Colonial America. She says he has too many rules, so he gets up to dance.

She asks him if he kisses on the first date. David says he hasn’t had a first date in a long time. Erica says she guesses making love is out of the question and suggests they leave. Alrighty then.

Kathryn hightails it to the jail to see Jim, who is still in a holding cell, which seems kind of strange after all this time. He asks if it’s his lucky day. Kathryn says it depends on how he answers her question, and asks if Wyatt was raped in prison. He tries to be evasive and Kathryn says he’s going to tell her everything that happened. He says there was a mix-up and the wrong guy got in the cell. She asks why he’s protecting Veronica, and Jim asks how she knows all this. He says to let him handle the clean-up on this one, because she has a tendency to leave a mess while he tidier. Kathryn says Jim let Wyatt be abused as a kid when he was out with his whores and then let him be abused as a man. She says she hopes he rots in there and storms out with him yelling don’t do anything stupid. Fat chance of that.

In the hallway, Kathryn makes a call to Veronica, acting all friendly. Veronica asks how Wyatt is, and Kathryn says better, but her face says revenge. Kathryn wants Veronica to make an appointment for her with the DA. She wants Jennifer at her house now. Veronica says she has a dinner party and can she do it tomorrow. Kathryn wonders why she wasn’t invited and Veronica says it’s small because Jeffrey is getting engaged and she thought Kathryn was busy with Wyatt. Kathryn insists on meeting with both Veronica and the DA at her house immediately, and tells her it won’t take long. They arrange to meet in an hour.

Veronica stops by the stoop and grabs Quita, telling her that she means what she says. She says if her plan is ruined by anything Quita’s dumb country ass did, she’d better run. Veronica gets back in her car and peels out. Quita berates the guys for not having her back.

Benny asks Mitch if he put drugs in War’s car. Mitch laughs an says what? and Benny says that’s what Candace told him and she lies all the time. Mitch says she’s not lying. Mitch says he saw War taking advantage of Candace right out front, so he set War up. Benny says he’ll kill War, but Mitch says he’ll take care of it. Benny asks who the hell he is. Mitch says it’s not who he is, but where he came from – he’s a Malone. Benny doesn’t understand and Mitch shows him a picture on his phone. Benny realizes that mob boss Michael Malone is Mitch’s father. Mitch says he doesn’t want to be in that life. He tells Benny that War was going to kill him. Benny tells him about Candace mortgaging the tow yard and his house unless he comes up with $2 million. Mitch says he can get it, but it would have to be paid back, and Benny says no way. Mitch says he’s seen the way his family doesn’t play and that’s why he wants nothing to do with them.

Benny breaks out some champagne and Mitch gets paper cups. Benny says at least they were in business for a minute and pops the cork. They toast to the future.

Oscar sneaks around David’s empty campaign office. Then he gets a clonk in the head with a metal pole. It’s Candace, who beats the crap out of him while asking where her money is.

Veronica calls Jennifer, telling her that Kathryn wants to meet with her regarding Wyatt’s inheritance. She wonders if maybe Jennifer could give Kathryn partial access to the estate. Jennifer says maybe, and Veronica sets up the meeting. Jennifer says Kathryn had better not threaten her again.

Benny goes home and flops into a chair. Hannah and Quincy Jr. come downstairs. Quincy asks if he can stay there as long as he wants to and Benny says yes. Benny asks Hannah whose car is out there, and Hannah tells him Kathryn gave it to him. He’s obviously dejected and Hannah tells Quincy Jr to go upstairs and finish his book. Benny tells Hannah about Candace mortgaging the house and tow yard, and forging his signature. He says if the bank doesn’t get the money by tomorrow, they’re out.

Hannah says okay. Benny says, so that’s it? Hannah says she cooked a good meal, adding one day he’ll listen to his momma, but until then she can’t say anything and they’ll just enjoy tonight. We hear an old spiritual playing over the scene as Benny cries. Poor Benny. This really sux for him.

Meanwhile, At the Cryer household, Kathryn thanks Veronica and Jennifer for coming. Jennifer says let’s get going. Kathryn tells Jennifer that if Wyatt has access to his inheritance it will kill him. She tells Jennifer to go back to the judge. Veronica asks if she can at least reduce it. Jennifer says she can talk to Wyatt when he wakes up. Kathryn says she’s willing to take a chance on Wyatt’s life because she and Jim had an affair. Jennifer says they never slept together and that’s not just a lie, it’s a stretch. Veronica asks if it’s David she’s after, and calls her a vulgar piece of trash. Jennifer says aren’t they getting divorced and Kathryn claps her hands, saying she’s getting off track. Jennifer says she’ll talk to Wyatt. Kathryn says he’ll never do it and Jennifer says that’s all they have to say then.

Kathryn says that Veronica doesn’t fully know why she’s there, and she let a rapist in with her son. Veronica acts ignorant, and Kathryn says she’s here for two reasons, reminding me of the scene in Kill Bill Vol. 1 where The Bride explains to Sophie why she’s allowed to live. Kathryn tells Veronica that one, she’s the greatest attorney in the country. No one is better and she gets the worst of the worst off. Kathryn says Jim didn’t trust her, but she does because Veronica fears nothing. She tells Veronica that today she’s going to teach her who to fear and how, and she promises Veronica will fear her forever. Kathryn says the other reason is for her to witness the fury that runs cold in her veins. Unlike Veronica and Jim, she does her own dirty work, and doesn’t take the easy way out.

Kathryn asks Jennifer one last time to save her son. Jennifer says no. Kathryn pulls a gun out from under a pillow and shoots Jennifer several times. The force knocks Jennifer and the chair backward.

Nice.

Kathryn points the gun at a terrified Veronica and says her job is to get Kathryn off. Kathryn walks past Jennifer’s body, adjusts a vase of flowers, and goes upstairs, leaving Veronica totally freaked. The credits roll in silence.

This was the finale, which makes me bummed, but If Loving You is Wrong will be back, so that’s the upside. I can’t wait to find out what’s up with Randall being trapped in that box.

Below Deck

Captain Lee is ready for a whole new set of challenges. I’ll bet he gets them. Ben is back and ready to roll, as are Kate and Kelley. Trevor is the senior deckhand; deckhand Nico, also called Freako (we’re off to a great start); Lauren, another deckhand; Emily, the second stew, who says she’s not normal; and Sierra, stew #3. Looking ahead, I see lots of drunken revelry.

It’s going to be the British Virgin Islands this time. Kate gets to the yacht first. The Valor has gotten a total interior makeover and looks gorgeous and much better than the garish decor of Mediterranean‘s Ionian Princess. Kate is concerned about breaking in two new stews, but says anything is better than Rocky from last season. Never say something like that, Kate. Kelly is next and Captain Lee tells him not to screw the pooch. We see flash backs from the last time he was a cast member, which wasn’t a good look for him. The captain says if his crew is screwing up, Kelley is the one he’ll be looking for.

Kate is friends with Kelley’s sister, Amy, and is willing to give him a second chance. The rest of the staff trickles in. Everyone introduces themselves. I’m smelling pita all over Trevor already. Ben! He’s glad to work another season with Kate after doing the Mediterranean gig. He and Kate are friends, sometimes more than that, which can complicate things. Kate is in sexual limbo, and at present has a girlfriend. More complication!

Kelley tells the crew no fraternizing with the enemy guests. OMG – the stew’s shirts are adorable! White short sleeve v-necks with a yacht on the back and sparkly anchors on the sleeves. Sierra hasn’t arrived yet, which concerns Kate.

Trevor introduces his egotistical self. Emily is from London, and she and Ben chat about life in the UK. Captain Lee calls everyone to the lounge. The captain tells Kate that her remaining stew missed the flight, so they’ll be short handed for a day. He says he always walks around with cash and plane tickets in case he needs to kick anyone home. Kate is happy with Emily. For now.

The deckhands talk about their love lives or lack thereof. Captain Lee goes over the guests and their preferences. The primary, Allison, is bringing some Instagram friends she’s never met. Ben says none of the guests like the same foods, so it’s going to be a bit of a nightmare. Isn’t that what we call “a challenge” now? Kate fills Emily in on what needs to be done before the guests get there. Kate tells Emily about her girlfriend. She says she was never in the closet, she just walked in, got a new outfit, and came back out. Ha-ha! Everyone bunks for the night. Trevor choosing his like he’s Ramona on The Real Housewives of NYC.

Kate is impressed that Emily isn’t freaking out over there not being a third stew. Ben says he’s missing four pounds of spinach and can’t deal with provisions coming just before the guests’ arrival.

And here they are. Kate says the guests go from complete strangers to being the center of your universe in about three seconds. She shows them around the boat. It’s unbelievably beautiful and the guests are appropriately dazzled. Trevor is sure there are bodies in all the suitcases because they’re so heavy. This is the part where I desperately want to be on this boat. Not with these people though. Right away, all the guests are on their phones.

They shove off and Trevor sort of reminds me of  Martin Short‘s Ed Grimly. Ben is doing family style platters. He says if you screw up the first meal, it’s usually hard to recover. It looks amazing and the guests concur. The Valor drops anchor.

Sierra calls Captain Lee and he asks what happened. She says she missed her flight. The captain offers to send someone to pick her up. Kate says she won’t hold it against Sierra, but she’ll be working double time to make up for it.

Kate suggests a place called Willy T’s to the guests – it’s a floating shipwreck where you can go topless. Is there a bar at least? They take a small boat over and fling their tops away. Kelley is already acting stupid over one of the guests. Sierra and Ben discuss Kate’s new girlfriend. Ben doesn’t think there’s a switch you can flip, but says whatever makes her happy. In his interview, he muses over the fact that Kate has a girlfriend and he’s still single.

Sierra finally gets to The Valor. In her interview, she says she doesn’t know what happened that she missed her plane and seems like a real ditz. She ought to get along great with Kate. Not really. Trevor has the mistaken impression that they’re going to be “besties.” Kate quickly shows her around.

The guests return. Captain Lee asks Kelley how the crew is doing. He says fine so far and the captain tells him not to make any knee-jerk decisions. Ben wants every dish to have a social media title and enlists Trevor’s help with the beef. He suggests InstaHam. Because ham is beef. Finally he comes up with Social Meatia. Not awful, but not very specific.
Kate gives the guests thumbs up signs like Facebook has and tells them to make comments on what they like. She says it’s too bad the guests won’t look up from their phones long enough to see the #hardwork they’ve done to plan the evening.

The captain joins the guests for dinner. Everything the crew says is now preceded by “hashtag.” Dinner is served. Ha-ha! – hashtag browns and chicken tinders! Kate is pleased that Kelley is ignoring the flirtation from the table. Trevor thinks he made the dinner happen. Oh brother. Captain Lee says #getmeouttahere and turns in. Kate and Ben soak their feet in the galley sink after the guests go to bed. Lauren and Kelley discuss Trevor.

The guests are loving breakfast. Nico tells Kelley he thinks they’re a good team, but Trevor needs to cool his jets. Kelley has to explain to Trevor that he’s not supposed to take his shirt off in front of the guests. Only Kelley is allowed to do that. Kelley tells Captain Lee that Trevor is a little brash and not treating the deckhands well. The captain tells him to sit Trevor down and tell him to ease up on the gas and that he’s not indispensable.

This season – Lots of water, lots of tips, lots of drinking, Kate’s girlfriend visits, Emily and Ben get together, a guest poodle is accommodated, a psychic tells Captain Lee that his mother is talking from the other side even though she’s not dead, Captain Lee has a problems with the deckhands, and Trevor and Emily get lectures.

** The Real Housewives of NYC’s Reunion Part Two airs on Wednesday, September 7 at 9 pm. Don’t miss Ramona whipping out some evidence!

A new nighttime drama on OWN, Queen Sugar, looks promising as well. It airs after The Haves and the Have Nots on Tuesdays.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Lulu is on the phone with someone in regard to the compound explosion. At the end of the conversation, she says she doesn’t believe they really wish they could help her at all and she sounds just like me. I hate when I hear that stuff, or even worse, the old “I understand.” No, you don’t.

Ava gives Hayden a heads up about the diamonds. She doesn’t know what Elizabeth’s plans were, but she thinks the Feds might have them.

Heather digresses, but Franco wants the Jeff Webber story. She says she can tell him the source of the money, but not the why or where, since she made a promise. She says she needs her leverage back to scare Naomi into making payments again. Franco thinks there’s a way for her to keep her promise and still tell him.

Elizabeth tells Finn what’s going on with the diamonds, but he’s disappointed because he’d thought she had a lead on the murders when he heard her say she was calling the cops. She says she wishes, since everyone is on edge, looking over their shoulders, and filing complaints against everything. Finn says that has to stop and then goes over to Monica, telling her that he wants to file a complaint.

Andre visits Jordan at work, bringing her a collectible currency book, thinking it might help her with the cuff-link. She thinks it’s a touching gesture, but also thinks they’ve exhausted the internet. He says what’s important to her is important to him. She asks why he’d have a book like that, and he says he’s a secret nerd. She wonders if he has a Star Wars man cave, but he can’t confirm or deny.

Robert visits Lulu. He tells her that Luke is definitely alive and said he hadn’t been on Cassadine Island “since before the witch breathed her last breath.” Lulu says she thought as much, but it’s a huge relief to have that confirmed. Lulu talks about how Luke went through a lot of changes and needed to go find out who he is now. She doesn’t like it, but accepts it and loves him for who he is. Robert says she and Robin should form a club, since he got the same speech from her. Lulu asks if there was any further message from Luke, and Robert says Luke wanted to warn her about Valentin.

Dante says the warning came late. Robert says he heard about what happened and he’s sorry about Nicholas. He says he’d never heard of Valentin, but now he’s on Interpol’s radar and his files with the WSB have been pulled. Lulu says he’s supposedly the Cassadine all other Cassadines fear. Dante says Valentin’s beef is with his own family and he said he has nothing against the Spencers. Robert says maybe, but Luke thinks he’s dangerous. He and Dante are both going to investigate. Lulu asks if Robert thinks something could have survived the compound explosion.

Franco tells Heather that they can play a getting warmer type game; she can tell him if what he says is possible or not. The result: She was obsessed with Jeff and stalked him after he left Port Charles (or as she puts it, just checking up on him without him knowing). She says he was cheating on his second wife and had a secret relationship with Naomi.

Hayden tells Ava she has to leave town. Ava says to take a bus since there’s less scrutiny. Hayden wonders why the authorities haven’t come for her, and deduces that Elizabeth hasn’t turned the diamonds over. When Ava adds “yet,” Hayden says yet is good and that means there’s still time. She leaves to convince Elizabeth not to do it or stop her.

Monica tells Finn that Dr. Obrecht demanded he be fired. She told Obrecht that where her staff goes and how they get there is none of the hospital’s business, and that she’s bordering on harassment. She suggests Finn drop it though, because it’s not exactly like he’s been forthcoming. She’s going to let it slide for now. She tells Finn that Obrecht has a personal vendetta against him (like he doesn’t know) and is disappointed he’s not the killer.

A code blue alarm sounds. It’s a patient Andre came to see. By the time the other staff members get there, Andre is doing CPR.

Robert says Lulu would know more than him about the explosion, since she was there. She says they didn’t stick around to go through the rubble and she might have left something behind. She explains how Stavros took her embryo for his own purposes, and wonders if it could have survived.

Ava gets called into the police department. Jordan wants to talk to her about a murder and she flashes back to Paul threatening her with the flash drive. Ava says the DA is always coming up with ways to harass her. Jordan says she’s not a person of interest, but her expertise might help with a case, since she’s an art dealer. She shows Ava the coin picture and asks if it looks familiar. Ava says actually, it does.

The patient flatlines. Monica asks what happened. Andre says he was talking with the patient and he seemed fine, but suddenly grabbed his chest, said it hurt, and that was it. Monica sends Elizabeth to get the police. Andre says no one came in and killed him, and asks if she’s implying he had something to do with it. Geez, it’s not like she accused him of anything. Way to make yourself look guilty.

Heather tells Franco that she felt obligated to step in. She went through Naomi’s place and found a positive pregnancy test in the trash can. Naomi was pregnant with Jeff’s baby. Franco asks if Naomi is Elizabeth’s mother. She says Jeff had three girls and doesn’t know about the third. Hayden is Elizabeth’s sister. I KNEW IT!

Lulu explains what happened with the embryo to Robert. She says it’s a long shot, but if the embryo is viable, it’s her last chance at a child that’s biologically her and Dante’s.

Paul comes to the hospital. Andre says a patient had a heart attack and he’s being blamed. Paul asks Monica if he should rule out natural causes. Well, I don’t think she’d get him involved if that wasn’t the case. Monica asks permission to draw blood for testing and Paul asks Andre to stick around .Andre says not without a lawyer, and he’s calling Jordan.

Ava tells Jordan that the coins were really popular a while back. She says a man who wears them likes to show off and present himself as having power. And she’s sure she’s seen someone wearing them.

Hayden approaches Elizabeth and asks if there’s anything she has to tell her. Elizabeth says no, and Hayden tells her that she knows about the diamonds and to hand them over.

Franco is like wha-a-at, Elizabeth and Hayden are sisters? Heather says she waited for Naomi and told her she knew all about the affair. Naomi begged her not to say anything, so she kept her silence for a large amount of money. Naomi was never to see Jeff again and to pay Heather every month. Heather adds that she met someone who told her how to invest it, which is a story for another time. Franco wants to tell Elizabeth immediately and Heather says, no you don’t.

Finn tells Andre that if he doesn’t protect his own rights, no one will. Paul tells Finn to move along and tells Andre that if he’s really innocent, he should cooperate.

Elizabeth tells Hayden that the diamonds don’t belong to her. Hayden says Elizabeth is a hypocrite, who lied to Jason, keeping his family from him, and who conspired with Nicholas, culminating in Hayden getting shot. She adds that Nicholas would be alive if it wasn’t for her. Elizabeth says that she’s not the one who stole the diamonds and hid them. She says too bad they don’t have family cells so Hayden could be locked up with her father. Hayden slaps her and Finn makes an oooh face.

Heather says Franco should think twice, especially since he squandered the last bunch of money she gave him. He says he has to be honest with Elizabeth. Heather keeps saying, “Don’t,” as he walks out.

Finn steps in. Elizabeth wants to tell him what happened and he says he doesn’t care; he just wants it to stop. Finn tells Elizabeth that Monica needs to see her. When she leaves, Hayden tells Finn he made it clear there’s no friendship between them, so leave her alone.

Both Ava and Jordan have the same feeling of recognition. Jordan wonders if the killer is close by.

Elizabeth sees Paul alone in Monica’s office, messing around her desk. He says he was looking for a pen and will tell Monica that she stopped by. When she leaves, it’s revealed that Paul is wearing a surgical glove on one of his hands and is holding a syringe. I think we all knew the second she saw him, but now my mind is trying to go back over where he was when each person was killed. It actually crossed my mind that it was him when he showed up at the hospital so fast, but all of them seem to have Star Trek transporters, so I discarded that as evidence.

Lulu asks Robert if the WSB inventoried the wreckage and if he could check for a thermos or other cold storage container. He says he’ll pull the records. He gets up to leave, saying he’s sorry about Nicholas, but despite all Lulu and Dante have been through, they seem to have it together. Lulu says even if they never have another baby, they have a lot to be grateful for. Robert leaves and Dante says no matter what, he’s with her all the way, but he looks like something is disturbing him.

Franco gets to the hospital, but just misses Elizabeth.

Finn apologizes to Hayden, saying he was going through some stuff when he’d last talked to her. She says she has to catch Elizabeth to make sure she keeps her mouth shut.

Elizabeth skips the elevator and takes the stairs.

Jordan gives a copy of the picture to Ava and says to give her a call if Ava thinks of anything. In the hallway, Ava realizes it’s Paul’s cuff-link and says OMG.

Uh-oh. Paul is sure Elizabeth saw something and goes after her.

Monica says there was no murderous drug in the patient’s system. Andre says he doesn’t appreciate being a suspect and Finn says he understands that. Monica says the last thing they need is another murder at the hospital.

Suddenly, the power goes out in the hospital. In the stairwell, Elizabeth uses the flashlight on her phone. Two hands come from behind and push her down the stairs. No doubt Hayden will be a suspect, but I vote for Paul since he had a head start.

Tomorrow, Nina asks Nathan if he still loves Claudette, Franco looks for Elizabeth, and the source of the power outage is found.

The Real Housewives of the OC

Shannon is still “in a cloud” over the birthday party/vow renewal. The family is having breakfast at the hotel, and then Shannon and David are going to Cabo for a second honeymoon.

Vicki has rented the Merv Griffin estate in Palm Springs for her birthday weekend. Tamra is unsure as to who Merv is. Kelly has no clue who he is, but hopes he’s single. Well, that’s up for debate since he’s dead.

Meghan and Jimmy are going to be in the vicinity of Vicki’s party and Meghan has decided to make an appearance. Meghan tells Jimmy it’s time to move on from the feud. Thank God. Heather is doing something with her kids and isn’t coming, but I think she’s not coming because Kelly will be there.

Vicki talks about dating, and in her interview, Tamra suggests she find someone who has a job, good teeth and doesn’t lie about having cancer. Sounds reasonable. Tamra discusses Vicki’s dating life with Briana. Briana is glad her mom is playing the field because she’s never been single. She says everyone should have their “slutty years,” but she just doesn’t want to hear about it. In the kitchen, Vicki tells Kelly that she’s surprising Briana with Ryan tonight.

Vicki tells Kelly that Meghan wasn’t sure if she could make it, but Shannon is going to Cabo. Vicki says Shannon wouldn’t have come anyway and she’s disappointed that Shannon wants to throw away their friendship. Me too. Vicki isn’t stupid and I honestly think she knew in her heart that Brooks was a liar, but talked herself into believing him. And really, she hurt herself more than anyone else, so what’s the big deal? Tamra tells Kelly and Vicki about Shannon’s surprise party. In her interview, Vicki says she wishes them the best, but it didn’t work for her and Don. We flash back to their vow renewal. She thinks David is going to pay for the affair for the rest of his life. I dunno. If anyone can make a second go of it, it’s those two.

Heather and Terry are having a date night. She says they’ve been doing a lot of work projects together, but it’s nice to have some personal time. Terry says their daughter, Max, has been sending him photos of empty chairs since he hasn’t been able to make her events. It’s the empty dad chair. Terry admits she’s right that he’s been absent. Heather says they’re going in the wrong direction, but the next direction is up to him. He claims that he’s in a situation now where he can be free on weekends and have dinner at home. Heather says she’ll believe it when she sees it.

Kelly asks if Heather is okay with her or hates her. Vicki says hate is a strong word and Tamra says she wouldn’t call Heather mad. So what’s the deal if it’s neither? Kelly thinks Heather acts like she’s better than everyone else. She talks about Heather asking her to leave the party when it wasn’t her party. In her interview, Tamra says she wants to like Kelly, and she is likable, but sometimes she doesn’t think before she speaks.
Heather tells Terry about the apology text that Kelly sent and he rolls his eyes. Heather says she appreciates it, but Tamra said Kelly made fun of her after she left the party. Let me touch on a few points here. Nice of Tamra to do that, but no surprise. When Kelly made fun of Heather, it was directly after their altercation, so no doubt her emotions (and drunkenness) were still high. I’m not making excuses for her – and no woman should ever call another woman the c-word – but I’m just sayin’.

Kelly tells Tamra that she got no reply to her text. Tamra says it has to be more than a text and maybe they should go to lunch. Good luck with that. We know how the lunch with Shannon went. Tamra is having an event for Eddie’s birthday, but is hesitant to invite Kelly, especially since there will be kids around.

The ladies sit down to dinner. Vicki says they’re celebrating Briana’s birthday too. Briana talks about how much she misses Ryan and how he has to get written permission to leave the state, since he’s in the military. Kelly gives both Vicki and Meghan gifts. Tamra has something for Vicki, and she’s like thanks a lot for not telling me it was also Briana’s birthday. The gifts are opened and Vicki tells everyone how much she loves celebrating her birthday. Her son, Mike, shows up and they discuss real estate. She takes him on a tour of the place. Briana’s kids beat him with a pool noodle.

Ryan arrives and Briana starts crying. She’s thrilled that Vicki was able to make it happen. Vicki says the gift of family is the best gift anyone can give. Let me add that cash is good too.

Meanwhile in Cabo, Shannon and David are keeping a video diary of their second honeymoon. We flash back to the last time they were in Mexico. It wasn’t good. In her interview, Shannon says fighting for her marriage was the best thing she ever did. I don’t always agree with Shannon’s choices, but my hat’s off to her with this one. I’m really rooting for them.

Tamra talks to Vicki about inviting Kelly to Eddie’s birthday. She says every time Kelly is around, there’s a scene, and Heather is concerned about bringing her children. In her interview, Vicki wonders how Heather made this about herself. She says Kelly is a mother and understands how to act around children. Kelly comes in and Vicki repeats what Tamra told her.

Commercial break. The original Below Deck is back Tuesday, September 6 at 9 p.m. I have to admit to a TV crush on Captain Lee and couldn’t be more pleased. I must not be the only one, since one of the ads focuses totally on him.

Tamra calls Heather from one of the bedrooms. She tells Heather that Kelly said her beef was with Shannon, not Heather, and was annoyed that Heather told her to leave the party. Heather tells her about the text and Tamra asks why she didn’t respond. Heather mentions Kelly making fun of her and in her interview, Tamra says she still needs to work on her big mouth. Yep. She suggests the three of them go to lunch, but Heather is hesitant. Heather finally tells Tamra she’ll go, but it’s on her, since she doesn’t think she did anything wrong. In her interview, Tamra says being a peacemaker blows and it’s a hard job. Often being the diplomat of the group myself, I agree.

Outside, Kelly talks about what happened at Meghan’s party and how she thinks Heather is overreacting. Tamra joins them and they decide to hang out by the pool. Vicki brings up a time when she and Tamra did too many fireballs and ended up in the pool with their shoes on. They decide to initiate Kelly by pulling her in fully clothed. Then they join her.
Meghan arrives. She comes bearing gifts for Vicki and asks why the three of them are in the pool with their clothes on. Meghan thinks she’s pregnant, and shows them her bump. Since I can see her hip bones framing it, it’s pretty easy to tell. She thanks Vicki for inviting her and Vicki thanks her for letting bygones be bygones.

Back in Cabo, Shannon says the vow renewal and second honeymoon have made her ecstatic, because David did something she didn’t think was possible. They talk about getting naked and I go ♫ la-la-la ♫!

Heather, Tamra and Kelly meet at a Laguna Beach restaurant for dinner. Heather doesn’t really want to be there, but is doing it out of respect for Tamra. Kelly arrives after the other two. Tamra is concerned about being blamed if the dinner goes horribly wrong. Heather breaks the ice by saying she and Kelly had been getting along really well, but the sushi dinner was full of anger and vulgarity. Kelly says she’s ashamed of herself. In her interview, Heather says Kelly has acted unacceptably on a couple of occasions and she has no guarantee that it won’t happen again. Heather brings up Kelly making fun of her after she left, and Kelly says she did it because Heather told her to leave. Heather says she told everyone to leave, but that didn’t happen. Heather says once the c-word is called out, all bets are off. Kelly apologizes again, but adds that Vicki told her that Heather didn’t want her around her children. Heather says she didn’t say that, but that did happen. We flash back to prove both these points. Hmm…seems like Heather has a tendency to make it up as she goes along.

Tamra says the last thing they want is another freak out to happen around children. Kelly says that’s not the way she acts around kids, and that she’d had too much to drink and was emotional. She says her integrity was being attacked, and it hit a nerve. Tamra says both times they’ve seen her in a group setting, it wasn’t good, but does understand how she felt set up at Shannon’s 70s party. Kelly starts to cry. In her interview, she says she feels like she’s treading water and drowning. In her interview, Heather says she believes Kelly’s tears are real, but she can’t forget what happened. For Tamra and the party’s sake she hopes Kelly is telling the truth.

Next time, the pregnancy test results are in, Shannon’s house goes into escrow for real. Eddie’s birthday happens, and so does a dune buggy accident on the beach.

Suggestion: If you’re not watching Too Close to Home, you’re missing out. This latest Tyler Perry venture into nighttime drama isn’t on the OWN network this time, but he’s branching out to TLC. It’s got everything an after dark soap should have, with a compelling storyline and characters you can invest in. And Heather Locklear. I got reeled in immediately.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Dante did tackle Sam. And she was right. Jason is back.

Valentin is in Port Charles, sans mustache. He startles Nina, who has dropped her keys. She tells him that her ex-boyfriend has her distracted. Because you always give strangers information like that.

Jordan tells Franco that they have some more questions. She says there was another suspicious death at the hospital and Franco is a person of interest.

Jocelyn gets a text from Jax that he’s back in town. Carly tells Jax she’s dropping the organ donor search, but he doesn’t believe her. She says the conversation is over and he says it’s just getting started. He tells her his mission is to protect their daughter and she’s being misguided.

Jordan wants Franco to come to the station. Elizabeth says she and Franco have been together several hours, so he couldn’t have just killed someone. Jordan mentions the vial he had when he was at the hospital. He says he picked it up off the floor in Miss Prescott’s room. Jordan says she’s dead now and it tested positive for the drug that killed the other patients.

Valentin tells Nina her ex sounds like a real tool and I laugh. Nina says she’s going to call it a night. Valentin, who has somehow wormed his way into her room, apologizes for her lousy night and she thanks him for making the end better. He tells her she’s better off without her ex. Before he leaves, he asks her if she’s with Crimson. She says she’s the editor, and he asks if she’s Nina Reeves. He says he didn’t grow up with the finer things and had to educate himself.

Jason says he managed to turn off the engines, but the plane still caught fire. He ran and the explosion knocked him out. Lulu says everyone is fine considering they don’t know where they are. They tell Jason about the boat and he suggests a plan to make a signal fire. Ava says Valentin could still be looking for them.

Valentin says Crimson keeps him current. A women’s fashion magazine? Really? They somehow get on the subject of Nicholas. Nina says she was going to do an interview with him before his death.

Jocelyn is excited about her father being in town and Sonny suggests they surprise him at the MetroCourt.

Carly says she thinks it’s smart to have the medical history of the donor, but Jocelyn asked her to stop the search, so she did. Jax says he knows her M.O. and she’ll agree to something and then do what she wants behind someone’s back. He says doing a complete 180 isn’t her, but lying about something is.

Valentin introduces himself as Theo Hart. Okay, we’re back to that name. Nina asks him about the cut over his eye. He says someone treated him unkindly, but he’s sure they’re very sorry right now.

Ava says Valentin must have sabotaged the plane, and might have guards around. Jason says they’ll take the chance. Lulu and Laura talk about Nicholas. Lulu says before this, all she and Dante could think about was creating a new life, and now she can only think about death. Laura says they have to stay strong for Spencer.

Spencer calls Nicholas’s cell phone and leaves a message apologizing for letting the cat out of the bag. A camp counselor comes in and asks him what he has under the blanket.

Sonny asks Kristina if she’s okay. She says she’s okay and he tells her that she can always come to him. She says things aren’t perfect, but it’s nothing they can solve in one night. Sonny leaves and she tells Morgan about Sonny finding out Parker was a woman. He’s like, I told you so, and she tells him how Sonny found out.

Jax tells Carly she hasn’t thought things out. She says she just wants to help their daughter. They talk about the transplant and Jax says if they find out a child died for the organ, Jocelyn will be devastated. Carly says she’d never give Jocelyn that information, but Jax says it’s got a way of getting out.

Franco explains how he left a statue for Miss Prescott and Jordan says the vial he was holding had the drug in it. She says they didn’t find a syringe though, and asks if he’d object to a search of the studio. He says it’s a witch hunt and if she wants to search, get a warrant.

Jocelyn and Sonny show up at the MetroCourt. Jocelyn says she was too excited to wait to see him. Jax tells Sonny he knows his visit must be a surprise. Sonny says maybe to Carly, but not to him.

Nina tells Theo that she’s worked hard to turn the magazine around. He asks if she has any juicy details about the piece she was going to do on Nicholas. She tells him to drop the act and says she knows what he’s trying to do.

Jason tells Sam he’s sore, but nothing is broken. Dante tells Jason that he’ll make sure he’s cleared of any charges in Nicholas’s death. Ava says Nicholas made a bad decision he couldn’t outrun. Sam says she helped him frame Jason. Ava asks if that even matters anymore, and everyone agrees they want to get home to their children.

Laura takes Lulu aside. She says if someone sees the signal, they’ll be okay. Laura sees the bracelet on Lulu and says she doesn’t remember her wearing it. Lulu says it was on a skeleton in one of the access tunnels. Laura is like, you don’t think…? and Lulu says she doesn’t want to believe it, but it’s possible Luke is dead.

Spencer’s counselor tells him to go to sleep. As soon as the counselor is gone, Spencer calls Laura and leaves a detailed message about his performance in the camp play.

Ava says she’ll tend to the signal fire, while Sam takes a break. Laura tells Lulu that this could all be a massive set-up by Helena. She says Helena wanted them to find the skeleton. Lulu says Helena wouldn’t have known Nicholas was going to fake his death and Valentin would show up. Laura says Helena sent her on a wild goose chase and wanted her to come there. Lulu says what if they’re wrong and Luke is really dead.

Nina says every time she wants to talk about Theo, he turns the conversation around to her. She says he doesn’t have to work so hard for her to forget her ex-boyfriend. Theo gives her more compliments and she goes all Blanche DuBois about depending on the kindness of strangers. Nina actually is like Blanche in a lot of ways. She says it’s nice to know there are gentlemen in the world and they kiss. Holy! It would be radical if she somehow got pregnant by him.

Kristina tells Morgan about Sonny seeing her and Parker kiss and that her assumption about his reaction was wrong. Morgan says he’s jealous because she’s doubled her dating playing field. She says she wishes she could think about it like that, but it’s about the individual person. She tells him about the letter from Parker. He asks about Aaron. She says he deserved to know the truth, so she told him, and now she’s alone.

Jocelyn asks if Jax can stay with them and Carly says okay. He leaves with Jocelyn, and Sonny asks Carly what the blip Jax is doing in Port Charles.

Elizabeth tells Franco the request is reasonable. He wonders what happened to innocent until proven guilty. He says because the police can’t do their job, they want to pin the murders on him, and tells Jordan to come back with a warrant. She says they have cause to hold him for 24-hours.

Theo and Nina get busy. While I have nothing against a single woman doing what she wants, I wonder if it’s wise to hook up with a stranger you met in the hall of a hotel. A little reckless of Nina.

Laura thanks Jason. She says he wouldn’t have been there in the first place if it hadn’t been for Nicholas. She hopes that for her and Spencer’s sakes, he can remember that Nicholas was a good man for most of his life. They hear another boat. Dante thinks it’s the naval patrol and they all start yelling. Laura ponders the bracelet.

Carly tells Sonny about her discussion with Jax. She’s concerned about what he said, that secrets never stay that way. Sonny says the last thing he wants to do is agree with Jax, but if Jocelyn finds out she didn’t call off the search, it could be a problem. Carly says hell must have frozen over for Sonny and Jax to be on the same page, and Sonny wonders what Jax is really up to.

Jax tells Jocelyn blah-blah-blah father stuff. She goes to the washroom and he picks up his phone. He says he’s calling with an update.

Franco asks what kind of public apology he can expect when this is over. He tells Elziabeth that this is all nonsense. He leaves with Jordan and Elizabeth follows.

Kristina wonders how Morgan would feel if Kiki had slept with a woman who she was possibly in love with. He says it wouldn’t matter whether it was a man or a woman, he doesn’t want to share her and that’s probably how Aaron felt. He asks if she’s in love with Parker. She says it seems fast, but she’d never felt the way she did when they spent the night together. She says she really liked Aaron, but now she has neither one of them. Morgan says but she still has her big, dysfunctional family.

Carly says she and Jax have always gotten along. Sonny says he’s suspicious of Jax and wonders what’s behind his stupid smile.

Jax tells whoever is on the phone that he’s gotten info from Carly and Sonny is a problem.

The rescue in Greece happens, but Laura is bummed. She feels like she’s leaving Nicholas and Luke behind. She starts to cry and Lulu says they have to be there for Spencer.

Theo sees two calls from Spencer on Nicholas’s phone. I see the wheels turning in his head How much you want to bet he’s headed to camp?

Tomorrow, Nathan tells Valerie it’s an order, Griff wonders if Franco could be the murderer, and Franco asks Scotty if he believes in his innocence.

The Haves and the Have Nots

DA Jennifer asks Hannah to get Kathryn. Hannah wants more information first. Jennifer says she gets Hannah doesn’t want to lose her job, but Hannah tells her she doesn’t work there anymore. Jennifer balks at Hannah being friends with the woman who covered up the hit and run of her son. She says she needs to talk to Kathryn about Wyatt. Hannah says Kathryn doesn’t need to hear anything else about that, but agrees to get her. Jennifer asks why there was an ambulance at the Cryer house and Hannah says there was an accident, but if she wants any more information, she’ll have to ask the Cryers.

Hannah tells Kathryn someone wants to talk to her. Kathryn asks who, but Hannah says she needs to see for herself. Hannah finally tells her it’s the DA and Kathryn goes flying down the stairs.

Kathryn asks if Jennifer has lost the little brain she has. She says Jennifer is the reason her son is dead and asks the officer for his gun so he can shoot her. The cop is like, um, you can’t threaten an officer of the court like that and Jennifer says she needs to listen. Kathryn says unless Jennifer is going to tell her that her son is alive, she has nothing to say. Jennifer says he is. Psyche! She says he was unconscious for 32 hours and his breathing was so shallow and his pulse so faint, the officer who found him though he was dead. Kathryn asks what kind of idiots work for her and I concur. Jennifer says Wyatt is in a medically induced coma.

Kathryn tells Jennifer to stick everything where the sun don’t shine. She says she won’t see him that way. She tells Jennifer to return him the way she found him before she pumped 12 million into his veins and up his nose. She says until then, Jennifer is her enemy. Jennifer tells her to be careful what she says in front of witnesses. Kathryn says get out of my house, bitch, and I applaud.

Jennifer and company leave. Kathryn falls to her knees. Hannah asks if she’s really not going to see Wyatt and Kathryn says she ca’t see him that way. She tells Hannah about her last image of Amanda and says she does’t want her last image of Wyatt with all kinds of tubes in him. Hannah understands and asks if Kathryn minds if she goes. Kathryn was hoping she’d say that.

It’s no secret that Tyler Perry is a Christian. Many fundamentalists call him a “Hollywood Christian,” (in other words, a sell out) but I think he’s doin’ it right. Hannah is a great character. She tries to be a good Christian, but she’s flawed as we all are. In the long run though, she does what’s right. She swore she’d have nothing to do with Kathryn, yet she’s the best friend Kathryn’s got.

Candace calls Erica. Erica asks for a picture of Oscar and Candace sends it. Erica tells Candace she’s looking right at him. She’s at a bar in town, waiting for a client named Grayson. Candace tells Erica to keep Oscar there. She says she’ll do the best she can.

Erica approaches the bar. She asks the bartender for a Cosmo and makes small talk with Oscar. She asks if he’d like to go out some time, but Oscar says no. He’s like, I’m with someone, and Erica apologizes, slipping him her number. She goes back to her table. Grayson comes in and sits with her.

Candace calls Erica. Erica talks cryptically and Candace realizes Oscar is leaving. Erica makes something up about her car and excuses herself from the table. She sees Oscar outside. She bribes a valet to put a phone under Oscar’s car seat. She tells Candace she thinks she has a plan and will call her later.

When Candace gets home, there’s a police car out front, which should be no surprise at this point. She finds Jeffrey in the backyard with Justin. She asks what they’re doing. Jeffrey says he told Justin what he did. She tells them to come inside. Jeffrey says he’s going to jail. She tells Justin to leave and he says he can’t. She asks Jeffrey why. He says Justin knows and Candace asks what exactly. Jeffrey says that he stabbed his mother. Justin says there’s no warrant out and Candace asks why they’re out there again. Justin says the phone reception is better. Candace suggests Jeffrey should have stayed at his hotel.

Candace goes inside and calls Benny. He says he couldn’t find out anything and she says they might have a problem since Jeffrey is there with a cop. She says his mother knows about the package and Benny tells her to leave now. She says she’ll call him back and hangs up. Candace tells Jeffrey that she called a contact at the hospital and his mother wasn’t brought in. She asks to talk to Jeffrey inside.

Candace asks Jeffrey why he brought Justin there and if he told Justin about Quincy. Jeffrey says no and he didn’t know what he was thinking. He says Candace is the one who said he should get to know Justin. She says he was supposed to get Justin’s weaknesses, not give out his own. Jeffrey is befuddled and Candace tells him to get Justin’s ass out of there now.

Justin comes in and tells Jeffrey that Veronica isn’t dead. He asks where she is, and Justin says an ambulance. Jeffrey says she’s going to be coming for him. Justin asks what that means and Candace says he can go now. Jeffrey wants him there and says Justin is his friend. Justin says don’t mistake him doing his job for friendship and leaves. He’s a confusing dude.

Candace tells Jeffrey that if Veronica was going to call the cops, she would have already. Jeffrey asks why she wouldn’t, and Candace says the same reason a snake waits to strike – timing. He tells her it’s too much.

Hannah goes to the hospital and finds David with Wyatt. She says Katherine isn’t coming because she can’t handle it and she’s there to find out what’s going on. David says the test results are coming and asks how she is. Hannah asks how his wife is and suggests he check on that. The doctor comes in and says that Wyatt is doing well, considering. Hannah asks why he’s so out of it and the doctor says they put him in a medically induced coma because he was having seizures. She asks about brain damage and the doctor says there isn’t any, but they need to watch the brain activity. The next 48 hours is crucial.

David tells Hannah to let Kathryn know what’s going on and she tells him to let Jim know. She calls Kathryn.

Veronica insists she doesn’t have implants. The doctor says okay then, her breast has ruptured. Veronica goes on about malpractice and how she doesn’t want a scar. David walks in and asks what happened. Veronica tells the doctor to leave. He says they’re in the middle of stitching and when the anesthesia wears off, she’s going to be in pain. She tells him to get out.

David asks what happened. Veronica says Jeffrey happened; he stabbed her. He says Bobby Safeman and she’s like what? He talks about Jeffrey being bullied and how the teachers told them, but Jeffrey never said anything and let it fester. He says one day Bobby said one thing too many and Jeffrey beat him into a coma. He says she defended them against the lawsuit that his parents filed and she should be grateful that Jeffrey didn’t have a baseball bat. He suggests she admit she has implants so that her sorry life can be saved.

Benny shows up at Candace’s. Jeffrey is resting and Benny wants to talk to him. Erica arrives next. She tells Candace they need to take a ride right now. Candace tells Benny good-by and he leaves. Candace leaves with Erica.

Erica tells Candace about slipping the phone in Oscar’s car. They take off. Benny comes back as soon as they’re gone. He tells Jeffrey to open the door. Jeffrey lets Benny in, telling him Candace isn’t there. Benny says he wants to talk to Jeffrey. Jeffrey says he has nothing to tell him. Benny says he has something to tell Jeffrey’s daddy. Jeffrey says David already knows about him and Veronica. Benny says Jeffrey needs to tell his daddy to leave him and his phones alone, and that there’s nothing going on between him and Veronica, or he’ll tell David Jeffrey’s secret. Jeffrey says he’ll tell David. But doesn’t David know he’s gay?

The phone rings. It’s David. That’s pretty convenient. David tells Jeffrey he just saw Veronica in the hospital and they need to talk. He says Veronica is fine, but they need to talk about Jeffrey’s rage. He asks why Jeffrey did it and Jeffrey says it just happened. David asks what Veronica has on him and says he’ll help him. Benny keeps bugging Jeffrey in the background. Jeffrey tells David that if he doesn’t stop interfering in Benny’s business, Benny will tell him Jeffrey is gay. Ha-ha! David tells Jeffrey to put Benny on the phone and says he’ll meet Benny at the tow yard in three hours. Back to Jeffery – he asks if Jeffrey is okay and says he’ll do whatever he needs to do to protect him. Jeffrey asks if Veronica killed Maggie. David says nothing and Jeffrey asks if he saw Wyatt. He says he’s about to call Jim with the good news that Wyatt is going to be fine and explains what happened. This perks Jeffrey up some.

Candace and Erica find Oscar’s car. Candace says it’s Jim’s house and they wonder why Oscar would be there. Mitch suddenly pops up and asks what Candace is doing there. Mitch tells her about David messing with Benny’s phones and then asks if she knows what happened to War. He tells her about War getting popped for drugs. Candace asks him to please tell her that he didn’t do it for her because War will kill her.

War gets put into a cell next to Jim because no one ever leaves a holding cell in this town. War says they meet again.

Next time, Benny tells David to leave him alone, Jim tells War that he’s stupid, and Veronica threatens Jeffrey.

The Shahs of Sunset – Reunion Part One

Andy makes his usual attempt at greeting everyone in Persian. All of the Shahs look fabulous and I’m loving Asa’s bling. The table is piled high with amazing snacks and we flash back to all the wonderful eating moments throughout the season.

We start with Shervin and flash back to his first disastrous date with Annalise. Surprisingly, she’s still in the picture. She lives in Australia, so it’s a bit of a long distance thing. Shervin is teased about his fear of bats. We get a little of Shervin’s history – he was born in Iran, but grew up in Alabama.

GG talks about her friendship with Shervin and how loyalty is everything to her. Reza interjects that GG is a horrible person and before we know it, we’re on to GG saying she has a sex tape of him. She denies saying she actually had it, but that’s not what the video says. Already, the insults and arguments start.

Andy cuts that short and moves on to Reza and Adam’s wedding. Everyone marvels at how views have changed, since Reza is Persian, gay and got married on national TV. They talk about the surprise wedding. Reza says he had to make a grand gesture to make up for leaving Adam at the altar in the previous season. He says his mother is anxious for grandchildren and is telling him to buy some on the internet.

They discuss MJ involving herself in Reza’s wedding plans. Mike says he thinks she was jealous that he discussed it with Asa first. Andy asks Reza how he felt about MJ talking to Adam about standing up for himself behind Reza’s back. Reza says MJ means well, but tends to stick her nose where it doesn’t belong. Somehow this goes to a story about a buffet where MJ was late, where MJ makes a point about feeling left out. Asa says a lot of MJ’s decisions are based on jealousy and she’s not a loyal friend. She says she’s always rooting for MJ’s happiness, but MJ isn’t happy for Asa’s success.

MJ talks about Vida offending Asa and Asa taking it out on her, saying MJ was behind it. MJ can’t understand how Asa could think MJ could put ideas in Vida’s head. Asa calls her jealous again. MJ says Asa is thin-skinned and they’ll never be friends again. She adds an FU to emphasize her irritation.

Reza says he hates where the two of them are at, but he understands and feels for the both of them. Andy asks Mike if he thinks the friendship can be repaired. He says they’ve insulted each other in every possible way and always bounce back.

Andy goes over the various trips the Shahs took this season. We revisit Reza’s practical joke of spraying “liquid ass” in the RV. MJ says they can never go through the airport without going through an extra search line. We flash back to the GGvention during the camping trip. Mike says he hates camping and hopes she appreciates that they did it for her. Andy says GG was trashed for most of the trip and she says her drinking was out of hand, but she’s doing better now. MJ says no one got a thank you, and GG says she was in a bad place. Mike agrees that she’s gotten better.

Reza says GG is mentally unstable and he’s afraid of her and worried for her.

To lighten the mood, Andy moves on to Mike’s marriage or lack thereof. Mike says he misses Jessica very much, but he was irresponsible. They’re not legally divorced yet, as Mike says it takes a while in California. He goes down Memory Lane about how he and Jessica met and he knew she was the one. We flash back to various scenes in their relationship, including the wedding. I’m sure Mike must feel just peachy right now.

Commercial break with important information: The reunion concludes Wednesday, August 3, at 10 pm. More good news – Below Deck with the original cast, including Chef Ben, is coming back.

Mike says he screwed up and if he had a chance to do it over, he wouldn’t make the same mistakes. Now we flash back to the crappy stuff. Andy asks why Mike hid Jessica’s leaving from the group. He says some things you don’t share. Andy asks if he thought he could repair things and he says he did. The topic of Jessica having been seen with new guys comes up. Mike says the break-up wasn’t as hard as seeing her move on. We see tweets between MJ and Jessica. MJ says Jessica thought Mike was a gravy train. Mike disagrees. Andy reads some tweets between Jessica and Reza. He tends to agree that Jessica is a gold digger. He says the whole time Mike was trying to get her back, another guy was in the picture. Mike thinks she was just getting back at him. He says he gets where his friends are coming from, but he’ll always protect her.

Mike has been dating, but he’s not ready for anything serious. His friends and family have been his saving grace. He says it took months and a lot of Justin Bieber to get past it. He definitely wants to get married again and have a family.

We move to MJ. She talks about meeting Tommy for the first time. Andy asks Reza about his take on the relationship. He says MJ needs a gritty guy from Queens like Tommy. Andy asks if Vida has come around yet and MJ says no.

Vida and Tommy join the group. This ought to be good. We flash back to Vida’s disapproval of the relationship. Andy is hoping she’s changed her mind by now and I laugh my head off. Tommy could save Vida and her dog from a burning building and she won’t change her mind. She says the more she gets to know Tommy, the more convinced she is that he’s wrong for MJ. Tommy says it doesn’t matter, MJ’s is the only opinion that counts. Vida brings up the nakey pictures that Asa took of Tommy and MJ, like they were Tommy’s idea. She says she’d have to see a big change for her to bless their union.

Andy asks if she’s excited to be a grandma and Vida tells him not to encourage them. MJ says she’s going to be an amazing grandmother. MJ says that her number one reason for wanting a baby is to keep her line going since her father is so cool. They talk about MJ’s father, who basically raised her because of Vida’s work schedule, which I didn’t know. MJ says she was the son her father never had and I totally relate. I always say that about my father. MJ gets emotional. Mike says Tommy might not be the perfect match in Vida’s eyes, but they’ll make it work.

Reza says he’ll always be indebted to MJ’s mom and dad, because he came out to them before his own parents. Andy points out the obvious, how Reza got love and acceptance from MJ’s parents, while MJ longs for it from Vida.

We see clips of Vida on Watch What Happens Live, making comments about each of the Shahs. Mike says her perception of people is way off base. Vida tells Mike he’s more beautiful than Jessica, but Mike doesn’t like her talking that way. Asa says she respects Vida, but she’s hypercritical.

Andy asks Vida if MJ had fed her ideas as to what to say on the show and Vida says no. Asa tries some kumbaya talk, but MJ isn’t having any, saying the friendship is over after what Asa said. Mike tells her not to say things she’ll regret, and MJ says she won’t regret it.

Next time, the topic of adoption comes up, Mike is accused of not respecting women, GG goes off like a rocket, making Reza run off the stage, crying about his credibility. My question is this – assuming there’s no truth to there being a sex tape, why would GG saying there was one ruin anybody’s credibility? It’s not like she’s known for truth telling.

July 26, 2016 – Lulu Gets a Gun, the Haves Get Some Nots & Below Deck Gets a Good-by

Standard

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Nina brings Carly printouts from Crimson’s website in response to Jocelyn’s story. Nina says she knows they’ll find the donor.

Kristina asks if Sonny can accept a gay daughter. He says it’s a lot of information to take in. Her phone rings and he asks her to shut it off. Thank you. It’s Alexis, wondering where she’s been.

Paul sees Alexis at the coffee shop and asks how she’s doing. She says she’ll be in the front seat at the arraignment.

Julian, who is out of his mind, talks to himself, saying he’s not going to the arraignment and he’s not giving up on Alexis, claiming the haters got to her.

Sam wakes up. The guard talks to her and Jason in Greek, like they understand. Sam gets up to get some water and keels over.

Valentin says he’d like to say he’ll let them go, but he can’t, so which one of them wants to die first. Lulu is suddenly there with a gun, saying she votes for him. Valentin says he wondered when she was going to show up. She says she’s here now, so drop the gun or she’ll blow a hole in him.

Julian’s crony shows up in scrubs, telling him it’s time for his sponge bath. Julian asks about Ava, but no one can find out where she is. Julian tells No Name that he needs more of the drug.

Paul tells Alexis that they really shouldn’t be talking. He says she’s going to be called out by the bar about not taking the deal for Carrrlos and not acting in the client’s best interest, and she needs to concentrate on that. He suggests she call Diane and work on a defense before she gets disbarred.

Sonny says he’s known gay guys, but they seemed to have always been aware that they were gay. When Kristina seems surprised, Sonny says he grew up in Brooklyn and went to clubs, making me laugh. He says there’s a lot she doesn’t know about him and vice versa. I love these dad moments of his.

Nina goes over some of the messages that Crimson received in regard to Jocelyn. Carly wants to contact some people who have nothing to do with Jocelyn to thank them for the organ donation. She says they can rule out certain factors, but will need to eventually do a DNA test. Carly asks why Nina is going out of her way to help. Nina says it’s driving traffic to the website and Crimson‘s social media platform is blowing up. She says her chance of being a mother came and went while she was asleep, but at least she can help with this. She tells Carly to call it what she wants. Carly calls it doing the right thing.

Lulu tells Valentin that he might think she won’t pull the trigger. He says he has n doubt she will, but he will too and wonders if Lulu can kill him before he kills Laura.

Jason screams at the guard to help Sam. When the guard does nothing, Jason turns into The Incredible Hulk and breaks the chains that are holding him to the chair. I’m serious. That’s exactly what he looked like just then.

Paul visits Julian and says he looks well. Julian says he doesn’t feel well and Paul suggests it’s guilt. He’s there to escort Julian to the courthouse. He says it will be a dazzling perp walk, since he’s arranged for the press to be there. Julian calls it a baseless witch hunt. Paul says if it makes him feel any better, he’s just the warm-up for the main event of taking down Sonny.

Kristina tells Sonny that before Parker, she’d never felt this way about a woman. She says she thought she was just into the class, but she was really into Parker. She says she was sure Parker returned the attraction. Sonny interjects until she turned Kristina in. Sonny asks if he hadn’t seen her kissing Parker if she’d have told him the truth.

Alexis talks to Diane on the phone. She sees Parker at the coffee shop. At least people have somewhere other than the MetroCourt to go now.

Sam regains consciousness. She asks what happened. Jason says it was an old chair and he was able to break it and knock out the guard. He wants Sam to stay there, but she says they’re in it together.

Dammit! Lulu surrenders the gun and I hate her at this moment. Valentin continues to make threats. It’s always the same. Like that scene in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. If you’re going to shoot, shoot, don’t talk.

Paul tells Julian his own words are going to send him to prison. Julian says the recording was illegally obtained. Paul says, doesn’t matter, Julian is sunk. No Name comes in and says he needs to check Julian’s vitals. Paul says he’ll see Julian later and No Name shows Julian the drug vial.

Alexis acts kind of nasty to Parker. Parker says she thought they’d left things on a good note. Alexis says she hasn’t heard from Kristina all night. Parker says Kristina fine and tells Alexis they spent the night together.

Kristina tells Sonny that Alexis already knows, but not to be mad because Alexis was encouraging her to tell Sonny too. She says she can’t manage a relationship and got suspended from school, and she was afraid to tell him. He asks if she was afraid he’d turn his back on her and she says yes.

Nina tells Carly she’s not going to miss Julian. Carly thanks her again. Jocelyn shows up. Nina tells her she’s been an inspiration to her and her readers, and jets. Jocelyn tells Carly she understands they mean well, but she wants them to stop the search.

Valentin days he doesn’t want to kill them, but it’s necessary for his survival. One of the guards comes toward Dante and Lulu protests. Everyone kind of stops what they’re doing and looks toward the window where I expect Jason to come busting in like whatever superhero he’s channeling now.

I swear, I looked away for a second and Jason and Sam have everything under control and I don’t know where the blip Valentin went.

No Name is about to administer the drug when Nina shows up. She wants Julian to sign a document giving her Crimson in exchange for her silence on certain matters. She says she needs to protect the magazine if he’s convicted. He says he’s not going to get convicted, but she says they can’t be sure about that. He signs. She says he missed a spot and bumps into No Name who drops everything everywhere, breaking the vial. Nina says good thing they’re in the hospital so he can get more meds. Julian, foiled again!

Kristina says Sonny is intimidating, and he says that’s what he’s heard, but they’ll figure this out together. He asks about Aaron. Kristina says she likes him, but what they have is on the surface and she connects with Parker on another level. Sonny says it worries him that Parker was her professor and mentor, which puts Kristina at a disadvantage emotionally. He says if she wants to date women, fine, but Parker isn’t for her.

Alexis says Parker took advantage of Kristina. Parker says Kristina sought her out for closure and it became something else. Alexis says Parker seduced Kristina, and Parker says they’re both adults. Alexis asks if she took time out from her marriage and Parker says she’s getting a divorce. Alexis is concerned Kristina is a rebound. She says Kristina sees a future with Parker and she wants an end to the fantasy.

Jocelyn asks if Carly’s search is more important than her privacy. She doesn’t see why everything needs to be public knowledge, and she’s sick of kids talking behind her back and pointing at her. Carly says they need the medical information. Jocelyn says the longer she doesn’t have a relapse, the less likely it is to happen. She tells Carly that her father understands, and if Carly doesn’t knock it off, the next time she visits her dad, she’ll stay there.

Valentin has himself locked in one of the rooms basically saying something about you meddling kids. I’m very disappointed in him. Dante asks Lulu where she got the gun. She says she’ll tell him later, but now they have to get out of there. Ava says they need to move, but the rest want to wait for Jason.

Jason gets into the room. No Valentin. He looks outside. Don’t put that gun down, you idiot.

Carly says she has to do everything in her power to make sure Jocelyn’s health is safeguarded. Jocelyn says her dad doesn’t agree, and asks if Carly thought about how it might affect her. Carly says she’s the adult and it’s part of her job as a parent. She says one day Jocelyn will understand.

Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! about No Name dropping the vial. Julian tells Nina to get lost and she says she won’t be visiting him in Pentenville. She leaves and No Name says he doesn’t know where he can get more. Paul comes in and says it’s time to leave.

Carly calls Nina and tells her to remove the article from the website…for now. She says she can’t get into it at this moment.

Alexis tells Parker to do the right thing and it will save her and Kristina heartache later. Parker says she doesn’t know the future. Alexis asks about what the college will think, as well as Parker’s wife. Parker says she doesn’t want to hurt Kristina and Alexis says she should have thought about that before.

Kristina and Sonny talk. He tells her he’d never give up on her and she’s his daughter no matter what. They hug and it’s a touching moment.

Carly apologizes to Jocelyn. Sonny shows up and so does Nina. Nina tells them she passed the DA taking Julian out. She wonders why Carly called off the search and Sonny is like, what? Carly explains that Jocelyn feels her privacy is being violated, so they’re going to discreetly continue the search.

Jocelyn calls her father, telling him he was wrong and that Carly called off the search.

Kristina sees Alexis at the coffee shop. Alexis says she was worried and she knows Kristina was with Parker. Kristina asks if Sonny told her and Alexis is surprised. She says she’s glad Kristina told her father the truth. Kristina wonders how Alexis knew she was with Parker. She says she appreciates her parents’ concern, but she and Parker will figure it out together.

Sonny tells Carly that Kristina came out to him.

Parker starts to write a good by letter to Kristina.

Jason tells everyone that Valentin has disappeared. They get ready to leave. Um…a boat is where? Lulu says she doesn’t want to leave Nicholas behind , but Laura says they’ll have to.

Valentin is in the tunnels, playing Pokemon GO talking on his cell phone. He says they’ll never leave the island alive.

Tomorrow, Maxie admits she hasn’t been honest, Doc says to go on without him, nd Julian asks Sonny what he wants.

** In between shows note. I’m watching Hotel Hell and I swear, in every episode of every show he does, Gordon Ramsey says, “I’ve never seen such a [insert negative adjective here] business/restaurant/cooking in all my life.”

The Haves and the Have Nots

Veronica falls back into the chair with the knife sticking out of her chest as Jeffrey calmly walks out the door. Hannah is frozen. Kathryn tells Veronica not to move and Hannah to call an ambulance.

Veronica calls Jeffrey a son of a bitch and Hannah points out that she’s cursing herself. Kathryn warns Veronica not to take the knife out. Hannah calls 911, saying someone had an accident. Veronica says it was no accident. Every time I think Tyler Perry can’t surprise me on this show, he does.

The 911 operator asks a million questions. In the background, Veronica says that her son stabbed her. She asks Hannah for the phone. Hannah says there’s no danger and just send an ambulance. Kathryn tells Hannah to give her the phone. Veronica starts yelling Jeffrey’s description. Hannah tells the operator that she just needs an ambulance. She tells Veronica they’re coming and to shut her mouth. Veronica is worried that Hannah didn’t really call.

David meets with Jim. He tells Jim he’s sorry about Wyatt. Jim says he needs to talk to Jennifer. He wants to tell her that she killed Wyatt. David says that Jennifer is still the DA prosecuting his case and he needs to be careful. He says he’ll talk to Jennifer. Jim says he can’t believe it’s real until David sees Wyatt. He wants to hear that a mistake has been made. He thanks David for coming. Jim starts to cry when the guard comes and then gets a grip.

Jeffrey goes back to his hotel room, haunted by scenes from the past. He flashes back to just about everything. It culminates with him stabbing Veronica. Jeffrey calls Candace. She’s driving and says she can’t talk right now, but Jeffrey says he stabbed his mother. Candace is worried that Veronica said something about turning them in, but Jeffrey says it was about Wyatt. Then he gets worried about Veronica turning them in. He tells Candace it happened at the Cryers’ house and that Wyatt OD’d. He begs her to meet him at her place.

Candace asks if Veronica is dead. Jeffrey says he doesn’t know. Candace tells him she has to be somewhere, but she’ll have someone leave a key to another room for him and she’ll be there in an hour.

David goes to Jennifer’s office and tells her Jim would like to see her. She says that’s not possible, since she’s preparing a case against him. He tells her to drop it. He says she gave Wyatt access to more money than he could handle and it killed him. She asks what happened to Maggie and remarks that it’s suspicious his mistress was shot at his wife’s house. He says Maggie was his campaign manager and asks if this is about Jennifer’s anger at him. Jennifer asks if he’s going to Maggie’s funeral. When he says no, she wonders why, since Maggie got further with him than she did.

Jennifer refuses to see Jim. David asks her about Wyatt’s body. She says it’s not there yet, and homicide hasn’t been ruled out. She says it’s not the first time, bringing up the Cryers’ daughter, Amanda. David is shocked. She shows him a picture of Amanda’s room and asks him how blood could splatter so far. He says it was ruled a suicide. She explains that an M. E. who’s a friend of the Cryers reclassified it as a suicide, overruling the first M.E. She says until they can rule out foul play, he can’t see the body. David says the least she can do is let him confirm it’s Wyatt for his grieving parents. She writes something down for him and says the detective will let him in.

Jeffrey calls Justin and says he needs to see him and that he’s done something very bad. Justin, who’s in bed with his wife, asks if he knows what time it is. Jeffrey says he doesn’t know who else to call and Justin says he’ll be there. He tells his wife that it’s police business.

Mitch and Benny wait outside of David’s place. Benny wonders how David could have tampered with their phones. He wants to get David back, but Mitch says he has to be clever and out-think and outplay them. He says Benny has to hit David where it hurts, the way David hit Benny in the wallet rather than physically fighting him. Mitch says he has to figure out where it would hurt for David. He asks what Benny knows about him.

Benny says David is a judge and has a son. Mitch asks how much David loves his son. He says if you find a man’s weakness, you take his power. If David’s son is his weakness, Benny has the power and should pay the son a visit. Since Jeffrey is friends with Candace, wouldn’t Benny be very familiar with him?

Justin comes to Jeffrey’s room. Is this the new room or the old room? Justin tells Jeffrey to never call his house again. Jeffrey says he thinks he killed his mother. He says he stabbed her in the heart. Justin almost seems normal here, and asks him what happened. Jeffrey asks if he’s talking to him as a cop or the guy he handcuffs to the bed. Justin says if he wanted to bust him, he’d be gone already.

Justin asks if Jeffrey was sleeping with his mother’s boyfriend and says Candace told him that he was. Jeffrey says his mother doesn’t have a boyfriend and Candace is crazy. He says that Veronica was saying stuff and before he knew it, the knife was in her chest. Justin calls for dispatch. Jeffrey freaks, but Justin is checking to see if there’s a warrant out for Jeffrey. There aren’t any and Jeffrey tells him to check about his mother. Justin tells him to wait since he doesn’t want the calls too close together. Jeffrey starts to cry and says he lost his best friend. Justin tells him it will be okay. This is freaking me out because Justin seems genuinely concerned. Jeffrey tells Justin that he wants to show him something at Candace’s house.

Blane tells David there was no crime committed, but the druggies cleaned up before they left. Geez, Wyatt’s body is still lying there in the same position as when he died. I find this extremely hard to believe. David says Wyatt is breathing and to call an ambulance. Wha-a-a-at?

Candace calls Benny and tells him about Jeffrey stabbing Veronica. She wants him to call Hannah to verify the story, but he says Hannah is pissed off at him. He asks if there’s another way and Candace says if there was, she would have done it. He says he’ll call, but not to expect anything.

Veronica keeps insisting that Hannah didn’t call. Hannah tells Kathryn that she doesn’t lie, but Veronica is so emphatic, Kathryn calls to make sure the ambulance is coming. It is. Hannah tells Veronica she doesn’t lie. Veronica calls her a perfect little Christian. Hannah says she’s not, and Veronica agrees, saying Hannah is enjoying this. Hannah says what she’s not enjoying is Veronica messing with her son. She tells Kathryn that she’s trying to find compassion for Veronica, but Veronica isn’t making it easy.

The medics come in. Veronica says her son stabbed her. The EMTs take a look. One of them says it looks like the knife got the implant. Veronica says she doesn’t have implants and they’re like, okay. When asked if she can walk, she says she has a knife in her chest. The EMT plucks it out and they walk her to the door, Veronica complaining the whole way. When they’re gone, Hannah starts laughing. Kathryn says her son is still dead and Hannah apologizes.

Benny calls Hannah. She says she’s been dealing with something and asks what he wants. He feigns innocence and he asks where she is. She tells him the Cryers’ and asks why Veronica was at his house. He said he needed to talk to her and asks why Hannah is at the Cryers’. She tells him their son died. He says he’s sorry and she says she doesn’t want hers dying over some old whore. Benny says he has a problem, but won’t tell her what it is. She sees a car pull in behind her and says she has to call him back. He asks if Jeffrey stabbed Veronica. Hannah asks how he knew that and says she has to go. He asks if Veronica is okay, but Hannah has already hung up. It’s Jennifer with a cop in the other car, and she wants to see Kathryn.

Jeffrey calls Candace, telling her that he’s standing in her backyard with Justin. That Tyler Perry! He’s a crazy man!

Next time, War sees Jim in jail, Kathryn attacks Jennifer, David tells Jeffrey to stay away from Veronica, and Oscar’s identity is revealed.

Below Deck Mediterranean

We get a fast forward version of what’s happened up until now.

After insulting Julia, Bobby gets all stupid, yelling that everyone stood up for Danny and f-word all of you. Jen finally gets in his face and Bryan takes him out of the boat they’ve been sitting in and talks nonsense to him on the sidewalk. Julia is upset and none of the girls are pleased. Hannah is pissed that Bobby wanted to bring a girl back on the boat, Bryan defended him, and then Bobby tried to make it sound like the problem was Julia being jealous. Julia is fuming and starts to cry.

The next morning, Bobby wakes up with a serious hangover, wondering what he said. Good. In the break room, Bryan says it was all unfortunate. Jen tells him he was pretty bad and even Bobby can’t believe he was so ridiculous. Bryan says he was, even though he defended Bobby. Jen is like, you’re both idiots. Tiffany suggests Bobby apologize to Julia.

In his interview, Ben says Tiffany is a cool girl, which according to Your Tango means she doesn’t bug out over no commitment.

Bobby approaches Hannah, apologizing for whatever he said and says he feels sick about it. Hannah says a lot of people would have gone to the captain, but that goes against crew code or whatever. The captain calls them to the bridge to go over the next charter. It’s a sales team being rewarded for their hard work. They have something to do with ginger beer.

Bobby asks to talk to Julia. He tells her that he’s disgusted with himself and he’s sorry from the bottom of his heart. She says it’s not true about her being jealous and it wouldn’t have been so bad if he’d just went after her, but he dragged her boyfriend into it. Bobby says she’s the last person he wanted to hurt and she says this has changed things between them. He hopes she can forgive him before the end of the charter.

Ben asks Hannah how Julia is doing. Hannah says Bobby was rude to all of them, but Ben says it was the worst with Julia. He waxes philosophical about hurting the ones we love most.

Hannah figures nothing could be worse than the last charter. Probably not, but never say something like that. It’s just asking for trouble. These guys seem pretty normal though. Ben wants to do a whole fish for lunch and Hannah thinks he’s lovable. In his interview, Ben talks about liking Tiffany from the jump.

Bryan talks about Danny and in her interview, Jen says it’s typical of his character to be talking about someone who’s not there to defend themselves. Bobby joins in on the gossip. The guests are scheduled for a beach picnic. Bryan acts like his usual d-bag self and Hannah says his ego trip is getting old. The spot they’ve picked is too windy and Captain Mark approaches the guests, who are happy with having lunch on the boat. The head guy talks about how lucky they all are and toasts to his sales team. It’s about time someone appreciated their time on the yacht.

Ben asks Julia how it’s going with Bobby. She says everyone was liquor fueled, but it was a side of Bobby she hadn’t seen. She was astounded at being singled out for attack and Ben says it’s because Bobby has the most feelings for her. And he’s in middle school.

Moving on to dinner. As always, Ben creates cuisine fabulousness. Bobby says it’s eating him up that he doesn’t think Julia will ever forgive him. Staying out of her way might be a good start.

Some of the guests sleep on deck for the last night. Hannah and Ben discuss Bryan. She says Bryan is disrespectful to women and a psycho. Ben says Bryan needs to work on things.

Fastest. Charter. Ever. Hannah says it was the best way to end the season. The envelope is given to Captain Mark. The primary guest tells Ben that if food was music, his would be Jimi Hendrix, which I’m sure Ben takes as the huge compliment it is. The crew meets in the lounge. Two thousand dollars a piece, the best they’ve done. Captain Mark says it’s a great note to end on and the owners have arranged for a beach party tonight.

Hannah talks to the other girls about Bryan’s aggression. Hannah says she’s lost all respect for him after the other night. Jen radios Bryan and asks if he’ll meet them in the lounge. Hannah talks about having her biggest argument with Ben, but it didn’t make her feel as bad as Bryan’s attack. Everyone puts in their two cents, but Bryan has an excuse for everything. Julia says it’s just advice for the future and that he should treat women as equals. In her interview, Jen says he didn’t absorb a thing and was just waiting for them to stop talking. She’s right, since he tells Bobby how stupid it was.

The crew gathers on the beach, along with Captain Mark. He thanks the crew for a wonderful season, talking about how the crew pulled together like he must have been on another boat. Ben thanks him back for being a great captain. Captain Mark doesn’t stay long, which is probably wise. Hannah says the girls were amazing. Lots of drinking happens. Hannah follows Ben to the bar. He says he’s going to miss everyone and he usually doesn’t feel that way. She tells him she loves him and he has a piece of her heart. In his interview, he says he did want to be closer to her, but he had to draw a line. In her interview, Hannah says she hasn’t felt this way about anyone else. They sort of kiss.

Oh Lord, Bobby says he can’t leave Greece without telling Julia how he feels. He tells her he feels really bad and can’t say he’s sorry enough. She says they’ve all been drunk and said things they didn’t mean. He says it’s really him who’s jealous and starts going on about how he loves her. She tells him he shouldn’t throw that word around. He says she’s been what he’s been looking for forever. She tells him he’s a “vibrant character” and he’ll find someone. They hug it out and everyone goes back to the boat.

Bryan and Bobby compare abs to see who’s more ripped. Tiffany pours a seriously stiff drink. She and Ben goof around on the couch. She suggests they go to bed. Later, Bryan says Ben woke him up for condoms and now he can’t find him. Why? Does he want them back when Ben is done? Hannah nearly walks in on Ben and Tiffany having sex in one of the lounges.

In the morning, Tiffany tells Jen about having sex with Ben. Ben wakes up on the couch still loaded and stumbles around. I laugh. Ben talks to Hannah in French while he brushes his teeth. She says she was up way late and saw and heard everything.

Julia tells Hannah about Bobby saying he loved her. Hannah tells Julia about walking in on Ben and Tiffany. In her interview, Hannah says Ben will no doubt get bored with Tiffany and maybe he’ll want a “proper woman” in five years or so. Now whose ego trip is getting old?

Tiffany says it was real, but she’s never doing this again. She’s going home to get her captain’s license. She and Ben decide to keep it weird. Julia is nice enough to hug Bobby good-by. She hopes he finds the right girl, since it’s not her. In his interview, he says he wants to be there when she breaks up with her boyfriend. Not a chance, Bobby. She would never, ever hook up with you after she saw how angry you can get. Julia hasn’t decided her next move; she’s just glad to be going home.

The bromancers, Hans and Franz Bryan and Bobby, decide to meet in Fort Lauderdale. Jen doesn’t want to hug Bryan good-by. She says she gave him multiple chances to be a decent human, but he couldn’t stop bashing her. He says maybe he spoke the truth and she tells him at least she doesn’t reek of alcohol, trying to use it to escape her problems and reality. Oh, snap! He says she has a lot to learn about being a deckhand. She tells him about Ben and Tiffany having sex, I guess because she knows he was interested in Tiffany. In his interview, Bryan says not everyone has his mentality. That’s for sure.

Bryan says good-by to the captain. He hopes to be in Captain Mark’s position one day. Ben is also going to join him and Bobby in Florida. Hannah says she’s learned a lot. She and Ben promise to SKYPE. Ben says they never really connected, but he’ll miss her.

Ben says good-by to the captain. He makes some joke about them being like Greece because they can’t…never mind.

Good night, sweet Mediterranian.
