General Hospital

Sam thanks Jason for his help, and he tells her, anytime. They move directly to kissing, and a new version of their theme music.

Jordan meets Margaux at the MetroCourt. Margaux has a stack of letters she’s written to her father. She wrote to him once a week, and kept writing even after she realized he was probably dead. There’s no question now; he’ll never read them. It was a wasted effort. She asks why Jordan asked to meet, and Jordan says it’s about her father’s case.

A sandwich board sign says, In Loving Memory – Morgan Stone Corinthos. Sonny tells Mike that he has a meeting with his business partners. Mike says Sonny is a rich man, and Sonny says he does all right. Mike remembers how much it meant to Sonny; money and power. When he was too young to know the real cost. Sonny says he knows now.

Ava puts flowers on Morgan’s grave. She says he should be there, and she wishes he was. She touches the headstone.

At the Crimson office, Lulu asks Nina if it’s a bad time. Nina asks Lulu to call her on her cellphone, and Lulu points out that Nina is holding it. Nina want to make sure it rings. Lulu calls, and it does, but Nina says it’s not the call she was waiting for.

On the docks, Valentin is on the phone with Curtis, who tells him the results of the second test are in. Valentin says it’s what he thought; excellent. After he’s done talking, he drops the phone, and reaches around under a pallet. A foot comes down on his free hand. It’s Laura, who says, Valentin Cassadine, finally at her feet. They’re dressing her so much better. Laura is no frump anymore.

Lulu tells Nina that she dropped by to give her the materials for the book fair. Nina says she didn’t forget. It’s just that something has been occupying her attention. Lulu says if there’s a conflict, Valentin can take Nina’s shift. He’s great about volunteering. Nina tells her not to mention it to him, and Lulu asks if he’s giving her grief about the divorce. Nina says, it’s been finalized, and he was more than fair. He also did something incredible. He found her daughter.

Laura says she likes Valentin on his hands and knees, since a bad attitude apparently came with her new clothing. He tells her not to get used to it. He’d like his hand back; he doesn’t want to scuff her shoe. She’s like, oops, and takes her foot off. He says Lulu didn’t tell him she was coming home, and Laura says it was a surprise. She was about to visit him at Windemere, and he says he saved her a trip. The water can be treacherous this time of year. She says he has experience in treachery. He asks how long she’s in Port Charles, and she says as long as he calls Port Charles home. She’s here for good.

Sonny tells Mike that Carly said he’d remembered something important Sonny needs to know. Mike says they talked about him going to daycare. He thinks it would be good for him to socialize. Sonny says if that’s what Mike wants. Mike tells him to not just say that. They have to follow through. He thinks it would be good for both of them if he gets out of the house.

Carly joins them, and asks if they had a good talk. Sonny says his dad wants to start daycare, and they have to set it up. Carly says that’s great news, but does Mike remember what else they talked about? Jason was late because the DA called him in to question him about Sonny and Vincent Marino. He said Sonny had nothing to worry about. Mike laughs, and says, it’s at the bottom of the Hudson river. Sonny asks, what? and Mike says, the gun. As he was driving to Port Charles from Croton, he was crossing a bridge. He pulled over, and threw it in the river. Sonny asks if he’s sure, and Mike says, thirty years, at the bottom of the Hudson. Sonny is safe. He did one thing right. Sonny says, more than one, and thanks him. Mike tells Sonny that he loves him, and they hug.

Julian asks Ava how long she’s staying. Ava tells him that if he’s nervous, he can go. She’s staying until she’s said what she needs to say. The only two people who have seen good in her, and a reason to give her a chance, have been Griff and Morgan, and she’s lost them both. Julian says he sees he good in her, but she’s not sure that counts. He says, Avery and Kiki. Kiki appears, and says she used to see the good in Ava. Then she wised up.

Jason and Sam get busy on the desk. They both have a hard time with the buttons on her shirt, and I laugh because I don’t think it was intentionally scripted. He picks her up throws, her on the couch, and they get busier. They hear a key in the door, and Alexis walks in. She says, sorry; she didn’t man intrude. Sam says key privileges aren’t to be abused, but Alexis says Kristina left her wallet, and didn’t think Sam was home. She didn’t pick up the phone. Jason says he’d better go. When he leaves, Sam asks if Alexis has something to say. Alexis says, you’re welcome. It looks like she got there in the nick of time.

Lulu says Valentin told Nina that she has a daughter, after Madeline died. Nina knows what Lulu is thinking, and says she’d gotten clues independent of him; like the necklace her mom left to her. There have also been two DNA tests, and she’s a genetic match. Her name is Sasha. Lulu is happy for her. She wishes the circumstance were different, but it’s amazing. Nina says Valentin got the information from her mom, and Curtis tracked her down. He also requested the DNA tests, and she trusts him. Sasha Gilmore is her daughter. Lulu says it’s going to change her life forever, and asks if Nina has figured out how to tell her. Nina says she left a message.

Valentin asks Laura if Spencer is with her. He doesn’t want Spencer breaking into his house again. Laura says he’s in France, away from the man who murdered his father. Valentin says Nicholas went out the window. He’s assumed dead, but they can’t be sure; he’s faked his own death before, and there was no evidence contradicting it was self-defense. She says Valentin stole Spencer’s inheritance, but Valentin says he claimed the inheritance left to him by his father. He tells Laura that he and her daughter have set their differences aside for Charlotte’s sake. Laura should take a page from Lulu’s book. They’re one big happy dysfunctional family. Join them.

Margaux asks Jordan if she’s found something, but Jordan says, sorry. Margaux says there must be a lead somewhere on Skully’s connection to Sonny. Jordan says they’ve poured over everything. It’s time to move on. Margaux asks if they’re dropping the investigation.

At the memorial, everyone tells stories about Morgan. Kristina talks about the time Morgan took off his shirt after he got it dirty. It was the most successful promotion ever. Every girl in town showed up, although they did get a ticket from the health department. Sonny says he never heard about that. Bobbie says Morgan was handsome, and Michael says he was shameless. Mike says Morgan sounds like his kind of guy. Carly reminds him that Morgan was his grandson. Josslyn says it feels like only yesterday, but it’s been two whole years since they lost him.

Kiki asks Ava if she’s going to show up where she’s least wanted, and hurt the people Morgan loved. Or is hurting them the point? Julian tells her to stop, but Ava says it’s okay. She’s here because no matter what Kiki believes, she loved Morgan. Kiki asks when did she love him? When she switched his meds and he was taking placebos instead? When he spiraled out of control and took off in a car rigged to explode. She never loved him; she loved that he loved her. She’s incapable of live because she’s incapable of basic empathy. Here she is, a vain shallow narcissist, making a day that should have been about Morgan, about her. Kiki tells her to leave. Ava asks what if she doesn’t, and Kiki says she’ll drag Ava out herself.

Laura tells Valentin that she’d never fault Lulu about making compromises for Charlotte’s sake, but she’ll never forget what he did. He asks if she’s waiting to strike, but she says she won’t have to lift finger. Children grow up fast. He can’t hid the truth from her forever. Valentin says, that her uncle faked his death and skipped town, leaving an innocent man to take the fall? Laura grabs at Valentin’s neck, saying she’d never say her son was a saint, but he’d never murder someone in cold blood. Valentin says she’s assuming Charlotte would believe her version of the events, but she’s a stranger. Little more than grandma in name only. She slaps him. I can’t stand Laura getting out of control this way. She’s already assaulted him three times, and is lucky he’s not calling the cops.

Nina tells Lulu that she thought she was prepared. She called Sasha, got voicemail, and I’m your mother comes tumbling out before she realized, and it was too late to take it back. This is how the poor girl got confirmation. Lulu says it’s a voicemail she’ll never delete; the first time she heard her mother’s voice. Nina says, rambling and incoherent, but Lulu says, a voice full of love. It would be shocking no matter how she did it. Nina says it proves she has no business being a mother. She doesn’t know what she’s doing. She called Sasha’s entire life into question. What if Sasha wants nothing to do with her?

Avery, who is growing like the Starchild in V, says she misses Morgan. Kristina says she’ll miss his crazy schemes, and Carly says she misses his smile and laugh. Sonny says he misses them sitting together late at night when they couldn’t sleep. Mike says the way they’re talking, it’s like he never left. It’s like he’s right here with them.

Ava tells Kiki that she has every right be there. Kiki says until Sonny and Carly come; they’ll be there soon. She needs to go before she makes another scene in front of Avery. Julian says they can pay their respects another day. Ava tells Kiki that she prays no one Kiki loves ever speaks to her the way she’s spoken to Ava. Kiki says all she did was tell the truth. Ava leaves, and Julian tells Kiki that he knows she’s angry. Kiki says she’s done; no more. Julian suggest she try not to provoke Ava. She’s hurting right now, and that’s when she’s at her most dangerous.

Josslyn tells a story about hiking with Morgan. How she wanted to go back, even though she’d begged to come, and thought he’d be mad at her. On the side, Mike asks Sonny if he’s upset because Mike is fuzzy about Morgan; it goes in and out. Sonny says nothing Mike does upsets him. Mike asks, since when? and Sonny says, not the way he’s thinking. Mike thinks maybe he shouldn’t have come, but Sonny says Mike loved Morgan. He belongs there.

Sam comes downstairs, and says, still here? to Alexis. Sam says she told Alexis that she’d give Kristina her wallet. Alexis guesses Sam isn’t talking about it, and Sam says, works for her. Alexis says she’s Sam’s mother. She has a vested interest in her well-being. Is she back with Jason?

Carly sees Josslyn, and says, tough day. Josslyn asks if Carly is okay, but Carly likes talking about Morgan. She calls Josslyn a trooper, and says if she needs a break, tell her. Josslyn says she’s fine. Carly says she’s strong; it’s not the same thing. If she needs to talk… Josslyn says she doesn’t, and Carly tells her if that changes… Josslyn says she will. She’s fine. The only person she wants to talk to is Oscar. Carly tells her to give him time to get his head on straight. Josslyn says if he doesn’t, she’ll do it for him, and Carly says, don’t push too hard. Carly sees Jason, and hugs him.

Kiki puts a white rose on Morgan’s grave. She sees the bouquet Ava left, and has to hand it to her; she has good taste. She apologizes to Morgan for the drama, but he loved a good confrontation. Her relations with her mother are at an all-time low, and she wonders what he’d tell her. Not to write Ava off just yet? To make the effort? She’s tried more than once. He got a second chance, and seized it. She’s lost count of how many chances she’s given her mom; it’s easy to get confused, since she reverts to form every time. Kiki calls herself an idiot for believing Ava’s promises. This time it’s different. Not anymore. She sees her mother for who she really is. She’s just sorry she didn’t see it sooner – for Morgan’s sake. She touches the headstone.

Julian tells Ava that she and Kiki will find their way back to each other. Ava says, some betrayals can’t be forgiven. Ask Alexis.

Sam tells Alexis that her relationship status is none of her business. Alexis says she just admitted to having one. She doesn’t want Sam to get hurt. Sam suggests Alexis respect her enough to back off. She knows what she’s doing, and can handle the consequence, good or bad. She asks Alexis what time it is. Alexis is wearing her mother’s watch, and says it’s not working. She’d gotten it fixed, but it stopped at the same time again, 10:10. Sam says there must be a glitch somewhere. Alexis is glad she kept it; it’s a beautiful piece of jewelry. She thought of getting rid of it, but it was her mom’s, and it’s all she has left of her. She knows the relationship didn’t work out, but it was given in the spirit of love. Sam says that she sounds like Molly, and tells Alexis she’s going to be late.

Valentin is disappointed that Laura marked the occasion of her happy homecoming with threats and assaults. She says it’s not a threat. Children grow up and stop seeing their parents through rose-colored glasses. Valentin says the only thing he cares about is that Charlotte is happy, and that she has love and consistency. He thinks Lulu could use some help. Laura asks what he’s implying, but he says it’s just an observation. Dante is gone, and she’s juggling two small children along with her job. She asks who’s keeping him warm at night? She heard Nina came to her senses and left. What a shame. The weather is about to turn, and it’s going to be a very long cold winter. She walks away, after annoying the hell out of me. Did she get a bad attitude with that new wardrobe?

Nina asks Lulu, what if Sasha says not to contact her again? Lulu says in the beginning, Charlotte hated her. It took a lot of time and effort to win her over, but she did. Nina points out that Charlotte is a child, and adaptable. Sasha is a grown woman with an established life. Lulu agrees that Nina has a tougher task ahead. Nina asks if Lulu is saying she should give up, but that’s not what she’s saying. Regardless of the circumstances, Sasha is her daughter. She tells Nina not to wait for her to call. Go to her. Be prepared for it not go well, and for her to not want Nina around, but don’t let it go. A good mother never gives up on her child.

Valentin goes to Nina’s office, and says he just got off the phone with Curtis. The results are back from the second test, and Nina has a daughter. Nina tells him it’s technically true, but remains to be seen. Valentin says if she wants a sounding board on the way to best approach her, he’s there. Nina says she left Sasha a voicemail, like an idiot. Valentin says she’s not an idiot, but Nina says she has no business being a mother. He thinks Charlotte would disagree, but she says he’s just being nice. He says, sorry. He likes being nice to her.

Ava, who’s been guzzling martinis, sees Alexis at the MetroCourt. She has a small job for Alexis; a small revision to her will concerning Kiki. Alexis tells her to find someone else, and Ava asks if it’s not worth her time, but Alexis says, no. She doesn’t want to, and she’s representing Kiki. Aside from that, she’s not getting involved in another Jerome family feud. She can give her a referral though, and some advice from one mother of a sometimes estranged daughter to another. Give it a week. If she if still feels like hurting Kiki, give it another week. And keep giving it a week until she can let it go. If she doesn’t, what she’s feeling now will pale in comparison to what she feels when she needs Kiki and she’s not there.

Margaux tells Jordan that she can’t turn her back on a murder case. Jordan says she can’t allocate resources to something that’s outside of her jurisdiction. Margaux asks if the PCPD has no room for justice. Jordan tells her that if she doesn’t back off and get a sense of perspective, Margaux is going to do serious damage to her career. Margaux says she’s going to get Sonny – with or without Jordan’s help.

Jason says he only knew Morgan as a boy. He wishes he’d known the man Morgan became. Sonny says he was a good man. Carly says he would have driven Jason crazy, but they’re not here to mourn him. They’re here to celebrate the time they had together. Avery asks if they can start now. Kiki and Sam arrive. Sam and Jason smile at each other. There’s a song part (Heaven’s Got Another Angel), while everyone hugs. Sam takes Jason’s hand. Laura and Lulu join them. Laura hugs Sonny. They let memorial lanterns fly into the sky. Bad. One of those landed in my yard once – still on fire. Don’t do it.

The memorial moves to the MetroCourt. Kiki tells Michael about Morgan’s transformation of the boat house. He says Morgan believed in grand gestures. He’d do anything for those he loved. Ava tells Julian to look at Kiki hanging on Michael like she’s part of the family. She cheated on Morgan, and it devastated him. Julian suggests they go to Charlie’s. Ava feels like she’s always on the outside looking in; alone. He says she’s got him, but she says she’ll always be the odd one out; the pariah. Would it be something for Kiki to know what feels like? To be hated, scorned, and despised? She says, yes; that would be something to behold.

Nina tells Valentin that she doesn’t know why she’s so keyed up. This is something she’s wanted her entire life, and she blew it, alienating her daughter on the first try. He tells her to give it time. She asks how long before panic should set in. She can’t look at her phone forever. In perfect soap timing, the phone rings, and it’s Sasha. She says she doesn’t want an audience, and Valentin tells her, good luck. She answers, saying this must be Sasha. She guesses Sasha got her message.

Michael stops Jordan as she’s leaving the MetroCourt. He heard she payed some visits to his father’s house, and questioned him about the explosion. Sonny can obviously take care of himself, but the DA is hounding his grandfather. Jordan says Mike answered all the questions to their satisfaction. Tell Sonny that the case is closed. He’ll know what she means.

Carly and Sonny visit Morgan’s grave. Carly can’t believe another year has come and gone without Morgan. Sonny says he’ll never forget Morgan, and neither will she.

Jason come back home with Sam. She asks if he thinks Danny would like to see a memorial lantern. He thinks it’s a good idea; they can watch it disappear into the sky. He tells her to name the date and time. He’s about to leave, but she asks him to wait. She wants him to stay.

Tomorrow, Laura needs someone’s help, Kim thinks she and Drew should intervene as parents, Oscar tells Josslyn it’s over, and Jason says Sam can tell him anything.

The Real Housewives of Orange County

Emily’s trainer does a session with Emily and Gina. And the dog, who wants in on the action. The trainer leaves and Gina says she’s happy for Shannon. She hopes they can ride on that vibe. She feels like she has to start over every time they meet. Shannon is the sun they all revolve around. Emily is meeting with her fertility doctor. Shane doesn’t want more children, but she’s always wanted another daughter. In her interview, thinking of destroying the embryos breaks her heart. She’ll probably pay for storage for life.

Gina tells Emily that she and Matt are rotating being in the house. It’s not the ideal situation, but okay for now. In her interview, Emily says Gina shouldn’t make this long term. It needs to be a clean break. She tells Gina it’s like a limbo thing. Make it temporary, and after six months or so, she can move on to the next stage. It doesn’t bother Gina to think of Matt dating, but bothers her to be alone. In her interview, she says she’s never been by herself and it’s scary to think of being on her own. She tells Emily that she can’t cry anymore; she can’t afford the wrinkles. Emily says they’ll kick her out of Orange County when they have wrinkle inspection.

Shannon tells Eddie that Shannon is having a celebratory dinner. She has a really hard time saying celebratory, and it keeps coming out celibatory. Eddie is confused, and Tamra says Shannon was only celibate during her marriage. Eddie has to check his heart rate with a device he uses on his phone. In her interview, Tamra explains that an irregular, erratic heartbeat can cause blood to pool, and Eddie could have a stroke. If he doesn’t take medication, it could be deadly. Eddie says he’s back to normal, but then sees possible AFib. In Tamra’s interview, she says when Eddie was first diagnosed, they all said it would be a breeze. Almost a year later, they found out he’d been having heart issues for a long time that he didn’t know about. It’s not life threatening, but life altering. She tells Eddie that he’s too young for it not to be fixed, and he’ll beat it.

Shannon says she just got home from Philadelphia. Server Caitlin is helping to prepare for dinner. Shannon calls herself the moron who invited everyone for dinner. Tamra gets there first, and tells Shannon how good she looks. Emily is next, and in her interview, she says she made an effort to be friendly. Shannon didn’t respond to her text, but Emily is giving her the benefit of the doubt. This is another opportunity to introduce herself. Maybe she should wear a name tag. Tamra is wearing real shoes again. Gina arrives, and marvels over Shannon’s house. Vicki also raves about the house, and says she’s proud of Shannon. Kelly rounds out the group, bringing a bottle of wine. Shannon promises good tequila.

Shannon wishes she’d had more time to prepare. In her interview, Gina says she’s trying hard to be nice and be friends. Just ask how her day was. Interesting. The girls who complain about Shannon all say the same thing – she’s self-centered. Tamra had this same complaint earlier. Everyone tells Shannon she did an amazing job, and they toast. Vicki tells her about trying to order, and getting hung up on twice. Tamra is thinking they need to really celebrate with a girls trip. Vicki suggests the Caribbean. Tamra has never been there. Me neither. Emily suggests the resort where her sister just celebrated an anniversary. We flash back to Vicki renewing her vows in Turks and Caicos. Emily has three kids and will go anywhere. Jamaica is suggested, and In Kelly’s interview, she says she’s looking forward to the food and the herb.

Gina gets sad about a trip she and Matt had booked for Tahiti. She bought a bunch of stuff for the trip, and wants to use it. In her interview, she says that they took good vacations, and she’s losing that privilege of going on vacation as a family. It’s part of the process, but it’s hard to walk through. In her interview, Vicki thinks it’s obvious Gina still has feelings for her husband. She asks Gina if they were good four months ago, but Gina doesn’t want to talk about her relationship problems. Shannon is glad she’s not involved. In Shannon’s interview, she says she’s sorry Gina is getting a divorce, but there’s going to be head butting. She needs to lower her expectations. Kelly says looking back, she made a mistake going back to Michael. Gina says she misses Matt’s family, and starts to cry. She’s scared she won’t see anybody again. Vicki says it will be okay. Emily tells her to go on the trip and have fun. In Emily’s interview, she understands. She loves Shane’s family, and his parents treat her like their own daughter. The group talks about changing with age. Kelly says she’s still the same person – immature.

Dinner is served. Everyone takes a seat. It’s something wants to try for fall or winter, a pork tenderloin dish that looks quite tasty. Kelly says it’s fabulous. Shannon asks who wants a drink. Gina says drinking tequila is probably not the best thing tonight. In her interview, Gina says Shannon has a way of looking right through you. Shannon wants to take some time to decompress. She thanks everyone for being supportive. She’s looking forward to Jamaica.

Kelly takes Jolie to the soup kitchen again. She says the ultimate goal as parent is to teach lessons. She’s trying to be the best parent she can be. She thinks it’s the best thing for the both of them. She’s proud that Jolie wants to help the community. Jolie thinks the food looks better than Kelly’s cooking. She loves doing this, but gets sad to see babies, who will know this their whole lives. Geez. Let’s hope not necessarily. She wants to hug everyone, and cries. Kelly is glad she has such a big heart. For real. All kids her age should be like that. In Kelly’s interview, she says people who grow up with wealth don’t like to see struggle. Jolie has compassion and a huge heart. She doesn’t see anyone as being less than herself. It all comes down to her being a great human being. They help clean up, and Kelly says she needs Jolie to start doing this at home. Kelly shows her how to use the mop and wring it out. In her interview, Kelly says now that she’s divorced, she sees the valuable lessons she didn’t teach as a parent. Jolie doesn’t even know how to clean. Kelly tells her they’re burning calories.

Gina meets Kelly in the park. Kelly says she’s been reading up on Jamaica. She’s fascinated by the history. In her interview, she talks about Jamaica being sold to Britain, and Britain bringing in slaves from Africa. And that’s why it’s primarily African American. Wait. It’s not African American; it’s Jamaican. That was pretty funny. They walk, and Kelly asks how it’s going with Matt. Gina is upset at Shannon, saying Shannon never asks her anything about herself. She doesn’t know if Shannon knows anything about her. Kelly says it took long time for her to get to know Shannon. In Gina’s interview, Gina says that’s not how friendship works. There shouldn’t be a time frame for Shannon to acknowledge her existence. It shouldn’t take this much time for her not to be an a-hole. Kelly says when Shannon is ready to let Gina in, she will. Gina thinks that’s not fair that Shannon gets to decide how much time is enough time before she acknowledges her. Kelly says maybe Gina should open up more on the trip. You get to know people on trips. I’ll bet. That’s why I don’t travel with friends. There are things I probably don’t want to know.

Emily and pipsqueak Shane go out to eat. He actually jokes about wanting a booster seat. I think he’s joking. He ignores her offer of a pillow. Emily tells him she was trying on bathing suits with Tamra, and says, who wants to do that? Shane says he does, and Emily says, never again. She tells him that she’s going to see the fertility doctor. She knows he’s not on board with having more children. He says it’s not in a negative way. In her interview, Emily says Mormons have lot of kids, so you’d think he’d want another. We see a clip of Pary telling her that Shane had always wanted six children. She says they have five; they’re so close. Emily says there will be no more little Emilys, but he doesn’t think it’s right that she keeps pushing him in that direction. She says she’s not pushing. He says he’s being honest and sensible. She says she’s been open about wanting more than one girl. Shane says he wants to be six feet tall, but it’s not going to happen. She wonders what to do with the embryos. It makes her sad. Shane doesn’t know how to answer. In Emily’s interview, she says she knows the kids are exhausting, and she understands. Shane’s reasons are valid and reasonable. Her heart doesn’t agree, but her mind does. She says a surrogate would be another concern, since her sister doesn’t want to do it a second time. Shane suggests she talk to the doctor about the embryos. She can learn what her options are, and maybe he can answer her questions. She agrees that’s a good idea, but doesn’t look happy.

Vicki and Steve are going to Michael’s house for dinner. It’s important for Vicki to blend the kids; they have six between them. She wants them to get to know each other. Steve’s daughter Amanda is coming with her boyfriend. Vicki says it’s been nice getting to know Amanda better. Everyone gets along great.

Michael and girlfriend Danni make drinks in a blender. Vicki is proud of Daniel. He’s the VP of her company, and doing great. She toasts to the first family dinner at Michael’s place. Pug Walter steals a bag of crackers. Vicki says she’s happy with life, pointing out none of them are married, but still happy with their partners. Amanda thinks maybe marriage ruins it. Steve laughs, and Vicki says she told him they’re not dating forever; there has to be an end goal. He says he thought the end goal was being happy. In her interview, Vicki says they need to set an example for the kids. She tells Steve she’d be happier with a ring. He says it’s not like they’re going to have kids. Vicki tells Michael and Danni that they should be pregnant within the next two years. Danni thinks she just wants another dog, and figured they’d have a bunch of Pugs instead of kids. Steve tells Vicki that they’ll have kids when they decide, not when she does.

Emily goes to the doctor with in-laws Larry and Pary. In her interview, Emily says Larry and Pary do everything together. He even waits for her when she gets her hair done. She hopes Shane does that for her someday. I don’t think I’d want my husband waiting for me during a hair appointment, and I definitely wouldn’t want Shane waiting for me. Dr. Long-Last-Name, so we’ll say Dr. N, comes out. Pary goes in with Emily, and Larry watches the kids. In Emily’s interview, she explains that Pary found the doctor through her Persian connections, and got her to the top of the list.

Emily tells Dr. N that she’s at an emotional crossroads. Even before she had children, she’d always wanted more than one girl. She’s close to her sister, and wants that for Annabelle. She says that Shane is opposed to it. The doctor says they have lots of girls among the embryos. He asks if her sister would carry another baby, but Pary says she told them the oven is closed. Emily asks about trying to carry the baby herself, but the doctor says she has, and hasn’t been successful. Emily asks about options. The doctor says if she’s not using them, they can be kept in storage, donated to science, or embryo adoption. As a last resort, they can be destroyed. Emily says the only option that isn’t very emotional is continuing storage. The first time they met, he’d promised she’d have a child, and it was the first time in five years she felt a sense of hope. Dr. N says there are lots of embryos and options, but it starts with Emily and Shane being on the same page. He asks if Shane is persuadable. Emily says he always is, but is it something she wants to try? At some point, they need to go to therapy together.

Shannon meets Kelly for lunch. Kelly says she took a nap, and never does; she’s exhausted. Shannon says she’s still catching up. They talk about packing for the trip. Shannon doesn’t want to put on a bathing suit. Kelly says she did didn’t she in Mexico, and Shannon says it was a mistake. We flash back to Shannon romping in the hot tub in what actually looks like underwear. Kelly tells her that Michael came over. They watched a movie, and had a good time. He texted her, saying it’s nice they can laugh together, and it makes Jolie happy. Shannon says that would never happen with her and David. Kelly says she thought never in a million years. In her interview, Shannon says when she and David separated, it was amicable. They went to football games and family dinners. That’s not the case anymore. It’s breaking the nasty meter.

Shannon asks Kelly if she’s talked to the girls since Friday, and if she talked to Gina about her outburst. My mouth is hanging open. I’d hardly call that an outburst, and compared to some of Shannon’s insane tirades, it was nothing. Kelly tells Shannon that Gina thinks she’s hard to know. Shannon says she and Kelly weren’t friends right off the bat. Kelly says they were frenemies, and Shannon says Gina is twenty-one years younger. She doesn’t know how much they have in common, but she likes Gina. In Shannon’s interview, she says Gina has stirred the pot a few times. We flash back to Shannon stirring the pot, and the divorce/money discussion. Shannon says it doesn’t make her jump for joy to carve out time to get to know Gina. Kelly says doesn’t really know her either.

Shannon says if she hears Emily say she wants to see fun Shannon tonight, she’s going to scream. She’s waiting for fun Emily, since she hasn’t seen it yet. Kelly wonders if Emily is in a bad marriage. Shannon isn’t talking. Last time, she had her ass handed to her when she compared Emily’s marriage to her own. She’s zipping her mouth shut, and keeping her boundaries. Yeah. We’ll see.

Next time, Jamaica, Tamra sees distance with Shannon, and Shannon is a huge bummer. No surprise.

📺 The dudes on Bravo Play by Play took a field trip to TomTom, and it was debatable whether it’s all about the pasta. Kelly Dodd SKYPED in. She has officially brought the word jam back into American slang. I love this show. They often give a voice to the things I’m thinking while watching Bravo. And I have to face the fact that People’s Couch is not coming back, and this is the closest I will get. Dave Holmes once again hit the nail on the head when describing Below Deck’s first primary of the season, returning guest, Steve. He said, Steve is like a Sammy Hagar song that made a wish and became a real boy.

General Hospital

Nina looks at the finalized divorce decree, and her half-heart necklace. Valentin walks into her office, saying he got his too. He asks her not to sign it, and not to end the marriage.

Curtis goes to the hospital to find out if the DNA results are in.

At The Floating Rib, Lucy thinks not-Doc feels feverish. She asks what he needs, and he says, space. Lucy says it’s a telltale sign; he’s a snark beast when he’s under the weather. He says she has no idea, but she tells him that their marriage made her an expert on him. Lulu comes into the restaurant. Lucy tells not-Doc that his eyes are watery, and that’s not good. He says he’s capable of taking care of himself. Lulu runs over to show them a picture of Spencer and Laura.

Jason calls Carly from the station to tell her that the DA and the commissioner are going to question him. Diane is away, but she’s sending an associate. She says he’s the best. Diane’s associate arrives, and introduces himself as Henry. Omg, he looks twelve. Jason explains that the DA is trying to tie Sonny and his father to the body found at Charlie’s. He’s not saying anything to them, and Sonny wants the case shelved. He tells Henry, do what takes to shut the DA down. Jordan and Margaux walk in.

Valentin says he, Nina and Charlotte were happy; they were a family. Charlotte needs her, and so does he. She tells him that he should have thought of that before he ruined an innocent child’s life. He says he had no idea he’d be a father one day, and run into a beautiful woman who would steal his heart and change his life forever. He was young, angry, and bitter. It was the biggest mistake of his life. She says she would if she could, but she can’t get past it. It’s all wrapped together with her own loss of a child. They have to be over. Valentin gets a text from Curtis, asking if he’s ready to find out if Sasha is Nina’s daughter. Nina signs the papers. He wishes her all the happiness in the world, and says he hopes she gets everything she ever wanted. She says the thing she’s most wanted, she’ll never have, and tells him goodbye.

Lucy says Lulu’s picture is a framer, and Lulu suggests not-Doc surprise her mom with it when she gets home. Lucy says not-Doc would be happier if his wife was with him. Lulu identifies, being without Dante, but says Dante’s work is important to him, and it’s important for Laura to be with Spencer. Lucy tells Lulu that not-Doc is sick, but it’s nothing a little TLC wouldn’t fix. She asks if Lulu wants to join them, but Lulu says she’s meeting Nina, who just changed the location. She tells not-Doc to feel better, and he says he’s not sick. Lucy says that’s just how he acts when he’s sick. Lulu says she’ll tell her mom to check on him. She leaves, and Lucy says she’s not taking no for an answer. Not-Doc asks if there was a question. She suggests he just let her take him home.

Also at The Floating Rib, Carly tells Mike that Jason is late, but he’ll be there. Mike asks if the DA is hounding him, and Carly says Jason has a lawyer, but doesn’t need anyone. He never talks to the police. Lulu approaches their table. She and Mike hug, and he asks about Dante. She tells Mike that he’s away on an assignment, but work is keeping her busy. He asks her to join them, but she says she has to be somewhere. After she leaves, Mike says, Dante hit the jackpot. Carly says, Lulu is great; almost as great as his memory tonight. He tells her, the disease is fickle. It gives and takes away. She says nothing can take away the love he’s spread in their hearts and minds. He says, just not his; not for long. He tells her maybe it’s a good thing Sonny isn’t there. They need to talk about what happens next.

Henry says the victim is the DA’s father; why is she doing the questioning? She should eb recusing herself. Jordan says when they get there, she’ll step back. Henry wonders why Jason is being questioned; the case is nonexistent. The gun was fired by one of Skully’s gang, and it’s a long list. Margaux says, Sonny is at the top, and Jason knows where the bodies are buried. Henry says Jason was in kindergarten when it happened. Where’s the new information they have that would warrant a meeting? Jordan says they believe Sonny’s father is as much a part of it as he is. Margaux tells Jason if he doesn’t want Mike scrutinized, she suggests he start talking.

Henry asks what they have on Mike. Jordan says Mike was an associate of Charlie Delaney’s, and Charlie’s Pub is where the remains were found. He asks how they’re connecting Sonny to that, and Margaux says Sonny tried to buy the pub, and thwarted Julian’s attempts at expansion to assure the remains were never found. Henry says the only fact he’s hearing is that Sonny tried to purchase the pub. It’s not unusual for a businessman to expand his holdings. The both know it’s conjecture, and inadmissible. He asks if Margaux even finished law school, and she says, Sonny pulled trigger, and his father helped him clean it up.

Carly thinks Mike should have this conversation with Sonny, but he says they’re a package deal, and she’s not as tightly wound as Sonny around difficult choices. He knew someone whose wife had the same thing. He couldn’t handle it, but refused to listen, forcing her to do things like eat. Carly says, cruelty in name of love. He says, it was not a peaceful ending. She says, it’s a sad story, but it’s not his. They intend to treat him with respect and dignity, and if it gets tough, they’ll call in the professionals. Mike says the arrangements at the house are incredible, and he loves Felix, but he needs to get out. He likes talking to people; it makes him feel more alive. Sometimes he gets lonely, and in his more lucid moments, he worries a lot. Carly asks, about what? and he says, having another Avery moment – or worse. He needs to be around people who understand, and professional help. He’s pretty sure he talked to Sonny about it, and got through, but since then, nothing happened. Unless he went on a tour of the facilities and forgot. He thinks it‘s time they do that.

Lucy wants to take not-Doc home, wrap him in a blanket, and feed him chicken soup. He says, there’s no getting rid of her, is there? and she says, no-siree-bob. He tells her to meet him at his place. She says she’s going to find the most healing soup that ever existed in Port Charles, and googles that exact phrase. She says she knew she’d win the fight, even if it’s the last thing she ever did. When she’s gone, he says she has no idea how right she is.

Lulu goes to Nina’s office. She asks if Nina is okay. Nina says she’s just dealing with this, indicating the divorce papers, even though she asked for it. Lulu says that makes it official. Lulu tells her that even though she has problems with Valentin, she knows he loves Charlotte and Nina. Nina says she loves him too. Who divorces someone they love? Lulu says, someone who knows the relationship will always be toxic. Nina says she can’t get past the thing with Peter, but she misses Charlotte. Maybe she should have stayed, and been there for her; sucked it up and been a mom. She apologizes for how that sounded, and Lulu says the more people who love her daughter, the better, but the strain would be palpable. It would be unhealthy for both of them. The message would be that it’s okay to stay with someone who hurts you. Nina says she could pretend, but Lulu says Charlotte is too smart for that. Nina says she’s indeed a smart little girl, and because of her decision, she’s going to lose her.

Valentin meets Curtis at the hospital, and asks if he’s opened the test. Curtis tells him, your money, your test, and hands it to him. Valentin is sure they’ll be back at square one. He opens it, and makes a shocked face. Curtis asks what it says, and Valentin tells him, it’s a match. Curtis looks at it, and says, Nina has a daughter. Valentin seems uneasy, and Curtis says he thought it’s what Valentin wanted. Valentin wonders how much the test can be trusted, and Curtis says, 99.9%. Valentin wants to wait to tell Nina until the other test comes in, but Curtis says, no way.

Lulu tells Nina that she doesn’t trust Valentin, but knows he wants what best for Charlotte. He knows Charlotte’s relationship with Nina is good for her, and so does she. She laugh about how they started off at each other’s throats, and Lulu says, loving a child can help push past anger and hostility.

Henry tells Margaux and Jordan that they have no evidence. Jordan says the victim was Skully’s lawyer. He wanted out, and he knew too much. Margaux says, so Sonny killed him, and Jordan adds, and his father wanted to protect him. Margaux says her father went to work one day, and never came home. Henry says she’s not objective. They have no evidence. They’re done here. Margaux says today she’s planning her father’s burial, and putting to rest someone she doesn’t know. She asks what about Jason’s kids? If he got gunned down, and there was no miracle, would they grieve thirty years from now? Would they remember him? Jason stays silent, as he always does. Henry suggests Jordan rein in Margaux; she’s verging on harassment. Margaux asks Jason, what if someone did to his kids what Sonny did to her mom and her? Would he let them get away with it?

Mike tells Carly, whenever he talks to Sonny, Sonny doesn’t want to put him in there. He doesn’t want to go, but it’s going to happen eventually. Carly says, it doesn’t have to be now, but Mike says he wants to do the daytime thing. He’ll be with people like him, and professionals just as good as Felix. Probably not as good at checkers, but they’ll learn. He says they have a way of leading the patients down Memory Lane. There’s music, field trips, and games. He’ll make a few bets, and rake in the winnings. Carly laughs. She asks if it’s something he really wants to do, and he says, it is. And it will lower the chances of another incident. They can all use a break. Carly says they don’t need one, but he wants to be prepared for what’s to come. He thinks daycare ill help with that. Carly says, okay; she’s in. Sonny will be too. Mike just has to explain it the way he did to her, and he’ll be sold.

Lucy comes over and hugs Mike. She asks if he has any pictures of his granddaughter, and he shows her on his phone. Carly steps away, and as she passes not-Doc’s table, she sees him tapping on it. She stands there, watching him for a moment. She approaches him, saying he’s tapping Morse code, like her neighbor at Ferncliff. Not-Doc says, is he? She says he’s tapping, help me. He tells her that he didn’t realize, but he had looked into it when she told him. It must have been a reaction to what happened. She assumes the situation is unchanged. She says she still has nightmares, and thinks she should take his advice, and continue therapy. If he’s still game. He says, sure, and she says she thought he’d be more enthusiastic. He says he is, but has a phone conference, and has to run. He tells her to call for an appointment.

Lucy tells Mike that she’d love sit and reminisce, but she promised a friend she’d take care of him. Mike says, lucky man. He doesn’t have to feel sick all alone. He’s lucky too. He has a whole family who thinks they’re even luckier to have him.

Margaux says she spent years wondering where her father was. When she became a prosecutor, she realized people don’t disappear without a trace. It’s likely they’re dead. She couldn’t be sure until now, but he was murdered and dumped in a foundation. Henry says, it’s terrible, but has nothing to do with Sonny. Jordan thanks them for their time. Margaux says, there are guys who tell themselves that they’re honorable criminals. They think they’re a good mobster, like Sonny. Like him. He kills, and makes widows of wives, and orphans of children. Where is the honor in that? Jordan says they’re free to go. Henry suggests she find a prosecutor who will follow procedure, or risk a lawsuit.

Lulu tells Nina that she spoke to Charlotte’s teacher. They’re having a book fair for children in need. Nina says she’d love to participate. Lulu says Charlotte’s teacher went on and on about Charlotte. She likes Charlotte, and says she’s bright and quick, but she also said Charlotte could be assertive. Nina says, good. That’s another word for strong. Lulu thinks it was her way of saying bossy. Nina says, Charlotte is a leader, not a follower. She’s a strong willed girl, ahead of the pack, and if that means being called bossy, it’s a good thing. Look who her mother is, and she’s calling bossy wrong? Lulu says she has nothing on Nina.

Curtis tells Valentin that GH is one of the most trusted labs in the country. Valentin says the point one will keep him up at night. Curtis says he grilled each lab rat within an inch of their life, and was told in great and boring detail, the strict procedures. He guarantees a second test will show the same results. Curtis says, Nina has a daughter. Valentin needs to tell her. She’s been in the dark too long. No more. Valentin agrees. Curtis says he’ll tell Sasha, but Valentin says, under no circumstances is she to know Nina is her mother.

On the phone, not-Doc talks to someone at Ferncliff, asking if real-Doc still believes he’s Doc. He’s sorry to hear that, and thinks it’s best real-Doc’s sedatives are increased. He’ll be incapacitated, but that’s better than the psychological torment, believing he’s Doc, trapped with no relief. It’s the most humane thing they can do. When he’s done, he opens a bag with a roll of coated wire coated. He tests its strength.

Lulu tells Nina the word used was assertive, and the teacher that they might want to keep an eye on Charlotte. Nina says she’ll be keeping an eye on the teacher. Lulu tells her not to burn Charlotte’s entire school year over it. And don’t ever tells herself she’s not a mother. She asks if Nina’s necklace is new.

Curtis says Nina will want to meet Sasha, and Valentin says Nina should be the one to make the decision. She doesn’t know that much, except that she was never told she was adopted. Valentin says he’s concerned about her wanting to get her hands on Nina’s money. He wants Nina to be able to approach this with her eyes open, and all the information. Curtis says Sasha went from being absolutely sure it couldn’t be possible, to seeing questions, and being anxious for answers. Valentin says, not until Nina is debriefed. Ha-ha! Using spy terms. Curtis asks if he’s heading there now. Valentin thanks him for being Nina’s friend, and making it happen. Curtis says, that’s not an answer. Valentin says he’ll be in touch.

Margaux tells Jordan she’s sorry she was a little over the top. Jordan says she’s allowed because of her father, but it only works once. Margaux says, they have no grounds for a lawsuit, but Jordan says she went way across the line. No more going after Mike. He’s sick, and they have nothing on him. It’s purely circumstantial. Margaux asks if Jordan is saying they’re giving up, and letting a cold-blooded murderer go. It’s not happening. She’s going to bring her father to justice, no matter what takes.

Jason arrives at The Floating Rib. Mike says, talk about the road to hell being paved with good intentions. Jason says they’ll be fine. They have nothing on Sonny. As long as they don’t find the gun, he’ll be in the clear. Mike says, they won’t. Jason asks if he’s sure. He couldn’t remember before. Mike says he remembers now; clear as day. No one will ever find the gun.

Jordan tells Margaux, no one is giving up. They need to locate the murder weapon, but need to be realistic. It was thirty years ago. With the absence of concrete evidence, they might have to accept it as unsolved. Margaux refuses. She has another way to nail him.

Mike knows he’s not a reliable source, but gun is gone. It was buried in Croton-on-Hudson (I was wondering if that was the town), Mike unearthed the body, and took the gun. On his way to Port Charles, he dropped it in the river. Carly asks if he’s 100% sure, and he says, 101%. He laughs, and says the gun has been sleeping with the fishes for decades. It’s over. Sonny has nothing to worry about.

Lulu asks Nina if the necklace is a gift from Valentin. Nina says, no; her mother. She kept it for sentimental reasons, but she doesn’t need it anymore. Lulu has to go, bur reminds Nina that she’s just a couple floors away, if she wants to talk. Her door is always open. Literally. She has a cubicle.

Curtis calls Sasha. He tells her the results aren’t in yet, but he’s eager for this to be done too.

Valentin enters Nina’s office. She says if he’s there to talk her out of the divorce, how many times does she have to say no? He says it’s not about the divorce. She asks if it’s about Charlotte, but he says, no. He needs to talk to her about her child.

Ryan tests the cord again. There’s a knock at the door, but it’s not Lucy. It’s Laura.

Tomorrow, Jordan tells Margaux that she’s too close to the investigation, Valentin tells Nina that her child is alive, and Laura says she’s back forever.

The Real Housewives of Orange County

Steve explains to Vicki how to ride behind him on a motorcycle, and that they’ll ride slow and smooth. In her interview, she says he’s turning sixty, and misses riding, so she encouraged him to get one. She’s scared riding on the back. We see a clip of her office manager telling her how she doesn’t trust motorcycles, and describing a horrific accident. As Steve drives, she keeps telling him to be careful and not go so fast, and screaming, which probably isn’t good for the driver. She goes no, no, no, no, no! as they go around a curve.

Shannon packs her supplements. When she packs, she tries to think of everything, and lists all the stuff she’s bringing. Her two younger girls are going to their dad’s, and she asks if they’re going to watch her QVC show. Tamra and Sophie are going with her to Philadelphia. She asks if they want a sign to them, but they think it will be weird. In her interview, she says she never had a lot of support about business ideas. We flash back to David being discouraging. She says she felt less than, and now it’s her chance to say she can make a success of herself. She says it’s difficult because she and David have different parenting approaches. She’s all about structure and discipline, while David is more lax. She had issues with her own mother, but is glad now that her mom pushed her toward traditional sense. One day her daughters will look back and realize it’s because she loved them. They don’t right now.

Vicki has stopped screaming. Maybe she had a heart attack. They stop for lunch, and we see they only traveled fifteen miles. In her interview, Vicki says it’s all about compromise. She doesn’t want Steve going to a biker bar alone. There’s only one biker bitch on the back, and it’s her. She tells him about the dinner party, and Gina crying about them questioning her divorce. She asks if she’s everything to Steve, and he says, everything and more. Vicki says she told Gina to make sure she knows what she’s doing, and Steve says that’s all she can do. In Vicki’s interview, she says, looking back on divorcing Don, she didn’t put effort in, and hasn’t seen effort from Gina. They should see if they can make it work. Being divorced is a forever decision. Well, not really. There’s Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton for one. Steve sagely says, the grass isn’t always greener, because he’s so Confucius. In her interview, Vicki wishes someone had shaken her, and told her to stay married. She screams some more on the way back.

Kelly calls Gina. She’s having a lunch at her love shack to watch Shannon. She’ll text the details.

Gina goes to lunch with her parents, Susan and Gino. Susan asks what Gina is telling the kids, and Gina says they’re going to therapy. She says they have to keep the kids comfortable. Gino says he has less than two years of working left, and afterward, unlimited options. Susan is glad Gina and Matt relocated to a place they want to live. Gino asks how Gina is feeling. She knows it’s the right thing, but it’s hard and sad. Gino says they’re shocked concerned, but Gina has a great support system, and she’s always made good decisions. In her interview, Gina says she struggled with telling them, since they’ve been married forty years. They’re in love, and she wants that for herself. Gina tells them about Tamra introducing her to the others. She says they went to dinner, and the other women are jaded about the divorces they’ve been through. We flash back to Gina saying, it’s not about money. She tells her parents she’s just hanging out, getting to know them, and going through one of the hardest things. She thinks that instead of making her feel scared and worse, they should be giving her a hug. She says they also told her that she had no emotions. She has plenty; she just chooses not to share them. In Gina’s interview, she says Emily and Tamra are her friends, but the others, not so much. She needs friends who lift her up and really listen. Susan toasts to a happy, healthy life. I’m hoping Gina’s father isn’t on the show much. He’s a nice guy, but it’s hard switching between Gina and Gino in the same paragraph.

Emily loves it that her in-laws live around the corner. It makes easy for them to watch the kids. She can pull up, and say, chaos is here. She visits Pary, and they sit outside while the kids play in the fabulous yard. Emily says she still has embryos left, and wants another girl. Her sister is best friend even now. In her interview, Emily says she and her sister connect on an emotional level, and she wants Annabelle to have the same thing as she has with Sarah. Pary says her body couldn’t handle it before; she almost died. In Emily’s interview, she explains that she had five miscarriages in four years. She got twins using in vitro, but lost them when she was in labor. She needed a blood transfusion, and thought that’s what it feels like to die. She can remember the hospital room, and the lights, and the nurses crying. She tells Pary that she can’t make the decision anyway; Shane is not on board. But when someone tells her no, she wants to do it more. She says Pary’s husband didn’t want kids or a house. What happened?

Tamra meets Shannon and Sophie at the hotel. Shannon asks about Eddie, and Tamra says he went through a third cardio procedure, and it worked. Shannon says it means the world to her that Tamra is there, and Tamra says she’ll do amazing. She’s nervous, and Tamra asks if she has a script. Shannon doesn’t, but says maybe she should bring a card. If it goes well, she’ll be asked back, and Tamra tells her, be prepared. In her interview, Shannon says, we’re succeeding.

Kelly takes Jolie to a musical theater audition. Jolie was in Bugsy Malone last year, and this year, Oliver! is being performed. Usually, her dad takes her to auditions, since theater isn’t Kelly’s jam. She was more of a tom boy growing up, and thought theater people were dorks. Jolie has a passion for it, and she wants to support that. The kids do vocal exercises. In her interview, Kelly says she doesn’t know how they keep straight faces. They go through a dance combination. Kelly thinks it’s huge. Jolie won’t be scared to do things like public speaking. It gives her a creative outlet to express herself, and builds confidence. Kelly says she didn’t do that, but turned out kind of okay.

Gina meets Vicki for coffee, and I say, ugh. out loud. In her interview, Vicki says she felt responsible. She doesn’t want anyone leaving her home crying. She wants Gina to know she’s there for her. She wants to encourage and help Gina, and open her eyes. Gina tells Vicki that her parents are celebrating forty years together. In Vicki’s interview, she says her generation respected marriage. With this generation, it’s like changing shoes. Gina says she doesn’t look at it like it’s so terrible. Vicki just wants to protect her about what’s in store. Gina says Vicki hurt her feelings when she said Gina had no moral compass. Vicki doesn’t remember how it came out, and says. of course Gina has morals. She was just worried about the kids. Gina shouldn’t be so selfish. Gina says she’s not.

Gina tells Shannon that she’s making a rational decision as an adult, and it’s for her kids. Vicki says if she did it over, she wouldn’t have divorced. Gina says she’s in a better place now, but Vicki thinks she needed to water the grass she was in. Gina says Vicki is happy now, and she’s too hard on herself. In her interview, Gina says because of her age, there’s a stigma, but the day you stop learning from others, no matter what their age, you stop learning. She thinks Vicki should learn from her. Vicki says her daughter claims her generation is messed up because of their parents divorces. She wants to be supportive, and tells Gina to create her own destiny. She says the women thought she seemed like she didn’t care. Gina says she’s just keeping it positive. In her interview, Vicki thinks Gina has the notion that nothing will change financially, but like Shannon and Kelly, she doesn’t work, and is solely dependent on her husband. She should take a look at them, and know it’s not easy. Vicki suggests Gina look at insurance, since legally, he can’t keep her on his. Are you kidding me? Vicki is going to make a sales pitch in this conversation?

In Philadelphia, Shannon, Tamra, and Sophie sit in the lobby bar and have something to drink. Tamra asks if Shannon is scared. Shannon thinks once it starts, she’ll settle in. Tamra says Kelly is having a viewing party, and we flash back to the one for Heather, where Tamra called in. She says David sent Eddie a picture of his new Porsche, and Sophie says she took it for a spin, but didn’t tell him – until she knocked the side mirror off. Tamra calls it Ferris Bueller style, and we flash back to Shannon riding with Sophie when she was first driving. In Shannon’s interview, she says Sophie has driven her car zero times since then. I say, maybe. Sophie says she’ll just take the keys when he’s at work.

The ladies arrive at QVC. Shannon says it’s crazy; she walked up the same stairs exactly five months ago. Her friend, Stacy, greets her, and everyone hugs. Shannon say she has the opportunity to create something on her own, not depending on any man. She’s going to stand on her own two feet. She’s excited to show her daughters what a woman can do. If she can do it at her age, they can do anything. The culinary stylist (I never knew there was such a thing) explains how it works. In her interview, Tamra says it’s a huge moment for Shannon. It’s her first shot at being independent after David. She didn’t know water was a utility. Okay, in Shannon’s defense, neither did I. When you live in apartments, you rarely pay for water. They decide someone else will handle the product, and Shannon will do the explanation, so her back is never to the camera. Shannon says something too loudly, not realizing they’re filming live on another stage. The manager tells her if she’s not asked back, that’s why. I think she’s joking, but I’m not sure.

Kelly’s friend, Jack, helps her set up for the viewing party. Vicki and Emily show up first. Emily loves Kelly’s bachelorette pad. She wants to hang out there. They FaceTime with Shannon. Kelly brags about styling her, and Vicki tells her, break a leg. Probably a bad choice of words, considering Shannon and Tamra are both getting over injuries. Gina arrives, and they toast to Shannon. Emily adds, to friends helping and supporting each other.

It’s time, and Shannon says she’s blanking.

Gina talks about her parents kissing, and that it’s gross. Kelly talks about seeing her parents do something I don’t want to think about parents doing.

Tamra feels like her child is preforming. Twenty seconds. Host Sharon introduces Shannon. In Tamra’s interview, she says she’s nervous. Shannon always goes to the negative first. She wants her to be more positive, and not talk about her weight.

Shannon begins by telling the audience that she was on an emotional rollercoaster, and needed to create a balanced lifestyle. Kelly thinks she looks like a pro. Shannon drops her card, bends under the table to pick it up. Watching in the green room, Tamra tells her, don’t bend over on live TV. Sharon says Shannon didn’t just decide it was a good idea. She had things going on in her life, and needed to rethink what was happening, and how to share her knowledge with others who are finding it difficult. Shannon says she’s got this going on, and grabs her belly. Kelly is like, really? Kelly says she doesn’t have to point out that she has a big ass. Vicki says no one would have noticed if she hadn’t pointed it out. On the screen, Shannon says it made sense that if she made healthy choices during the week, she could have a few cocktails on the weekend. Tamra thinks she did a great job. Who needs David now? She’ll have her own money; as a woman, it makes you feel good inside. Sharon tells Shannon that she was amazing. When she goes back to the green room, Tamra and Sophie scream.

Shannon says her dream is becoming a reality. She’s grateful and overwhelmed. Being able to share this moment with her daughter and best friend, is something she’ll look back on forever. She looks at all the supportive texts she’s gotten.

Vicki calls to order, and says Shannon good friend, and they hang up. Vicki says they thought it was a prank call. Kelly tries, impersonating Vicki (badly), and they hang up again. The ladies FaceTime with Shannon. She asks if they want to get together when she gets back, and Kelly says, girls trip. Shannon is told she’s sold 1100 units in about eight minutes. Tamra says, they’re clearly asking her back. Tamra suggests they celebrate, but Shannon says she just wants to be sold out.

In her interview, Shannon says the sky’s the limit. She lost a marriage, but found herself. She’s proud of herself. We see the Rocky statue.

Next time, Vicki encourages Michael to have kids soon, Emily discusses having another child with Shane, Eddie has possible AFib, and Gina is scared she won’t see anybody again.

General Hospital

Sam tells Jason that she knows things are difficult between him and Drew, but if he can find a way to make peace, try. Brothers should help each other. He says they should, but he can’t. She knows that better than anyone.

Drew tells Kim that he’d like for them both to tell Oscar about his prognosis, but If he has to, he’ll do it on his own. Kim says she had a plan, and doesn’t know what to do now. Drew say they both want what’s best for their son, and what’s best is to let him know he has cancer. He deserves to hear it from the both of them.

Carly sees Franco at the school. He tells her that he’s there to pick up Cameron, and make sure Cameron and Josslyn don’t boost anything. Carly gets all hyper and calls Elizabeth a hypocrite. She’s judging Carly’s daughter, while giving Franco a free pass. He says he got Carly out of Ferncliff, and thought that gave him a pass with her.

Oscar tells Cameron that he doesn’t have cancer. There’s nothing wrong with him.

Jordan asks Sonny if the name Vincent Marino means anything to him, and he asks if he wasn’t a shortstop for the New York Yankees. She asks if they weren’t personally acquainted, and he says the name means nothing to him. Margaux says the name means something to her. Vincent Marino was her father. Sonny says he’s sorry for her loss, and Jordan asks if Margaux would like to take a break. Margaux thinks some context might be helpful. Her father vanished when she was two. Now she knows why. Maybe they should look at his employer. He worked for the same man Sonny did; a Brooklyn mobster by the name of Joe Skully.

Jason tells Sam that Drew can’t stand him. The only thing he can do for Drew is keep his distance. Sam says they have too many people in common. Jason says, including her. He know what he sees, and Drew can barely stand being in the same room with him. Sam says that was true in the past. Drew was focused on her and the divorce, but things are different now. He’s dealing with something bigger. Jason asks if she can’t tell him, and she says, no. He asks if it affects her, and she says, not directly. He wonders if anyone else he loves is in danger, but she says it’s not an enemy he can fight or a threat he can eliminate. The only thing he can do is be present, even for Drew.

Kim tells Drew that Oscar won’t be just a kid anymore, his life stretched out with endless time. Drew says they have to give him reality, but she says he’s too young to be thinking about the end of his life. Drew agrees. It’s obscene that he won’t make it to adulthood. It’s not right that he won’t get to do what he’s dreamed of, but they’re past the point of keeping it secret, and past the point where it’s even okay to do that. Terry comes in, and Kim introduces them. Terry says there’s no easy way to say it, but they have a decision to make about Oscar.

Oscar asks why Cameron thinks he has cancer. Cameron says he was just in the hospital; he collapsed. Oscar says he has hypoglycemia, and forgot to eat. Cameron also heard Franco leaving a message for Drew that he was sorry about Oscar. Franco went upstairs, and forgot to close his laptop. He was researching children’s brain tumors. Oscar says, so he jumped to that conclusion? Franco works at the hospital. Maybe he was doing research on one of his patients. Cameron asks if he’s sure he’s not sick. Oscar is sorry to break it to him, but he’s not conveniently dropping dead so Cameron can have Josslyn.

Carly tells Franco that Elizabeth assumes Josslyn is the bad influence, not the other way around. Maybe Cameron isn’t crazy about his mom’s latest boyfriend. Elizabeth has a high opinion of herself. As long as he’s worshiping her and meeting her standards, he’s her man. When he eventually falls from grace, he’ll be out. Maybe Cameron is sick of his mom’s revolving door of boyfriends, and he’s pushing back.

Margaux asks if Sonny denies working for Skully. Sonny says Skully owned a nightclub, and he was the assistant manager. Margaux says her father was his defense attorney. Does his name ring a bell now? Skully was getting reckless, brutal, and out of control. Her father wanted out, but early retirement’s not an option in that line of work. Maybe he knew too much. The building his body was found in was owned by Charlie Delaney, Charlie was friends with Sonny’s father, and Sonny worked for Skully. See how it connects?

Sam tells Jason, what matters is being present; showing up for everyone, especially Monica. If it means being in the same house or same room as Drew, he needs to find a way to deal. Be tolerant and patient. Jason says it’s uncomfortable, and Sam says as many times as he’s been shot, he can deal with discomfort. He can see it’s important to her, and she asks if he’ll try. He says he’ll do his best, and she hugs him. When she leaves, he puzzles it over.

Mike comes downstairs, and asks if Jason knows where Sonny is. Jason says he’s in a meeting away from the house. Can he help? Mike says, something is wrong. He knows he made a mistake. He doesn’t know what, but he’s afraid he’s hurt his son.

Sonny tells Margaux that Skully had a lot of employees, and his father has a lot of friends. All she’s got is a coincidence. She says she has more than that. Ballistics matched the bullet to another one that was used in shooting Anthony Russo. The bullets were both from the same gun, and they both have ties to Skully. Like Sonny does. Sonny asks if he’s being arrested. If not, he’s leaving. Jordan says he can go, but he’s a person of interest; don’t leave town. Margaux says Sonny loves his father, and will do whatever it takes to protect him because he loves him. She loves hers too, and will do whatever it takes to get justice for him. Sonny leaves, and Margaux says Sonny was looking right through her, like her father’s life counted for nothing. Jordan says they ID’d the body more than an hour ago. Why didn’t Margaux disclose he was her father?

Franco tells Carly that he was hoping they could coexist. She says they can coexist fine, just make sure Elizabeth cooperates. Carly knows Elizabeth can’t stand her, and has never missed a chance to disrespect her, but she’s a big girl; she can handle it. Josslyn is a child, and if Elizabeth hurts Josslyn’s feelings once, she’ll flatten her, and he can tell Elizabeth she said so.

Carly asks Josslyn how it’s going, and Josslyn says, almost too good; they got so many donations. She can get a ride if Carly doesn’t want to wait. Carly says she wants to stay and help.

Cameron tells Oscar that it’s deeply uncool to wish anyone dead. It just seemed to fit everything else. His mom is campaigning for them to be best friends, and seemed more worried about him in the fight than Cameron. There was also Franco’s voicemail and laptop. Oscar thinks he’d know if had a brain tumor. His parents would tell him, wouldn’t they? Cameron says, forget about it. He got it wrong; his specialty. Oscar asks him not to tell Josslyn, and Cameron says, there’s nothing to tell.

Oscar says hi to Carly, but says he has to bail. He just remembered something he has to do. Josslyn asks Cameron whether he has any idea why Oscar left like that.

Terry tells Drew and Kim the tumor is in an area of the brain they can’t reach. Surgery would kill him. Drew asks if there are other options, but Terry says radiation and chemotherapy have proved ineffectual. Drew says there has to be way to help him. Terry says, there may be. There’s a clinical trial coming up involving amino therapy. It’s been effective, but it’s still being explored. Drew asks what the downside is.

Mike asks if Jason is a father, and Jason says he has two sons. Mike asks what he wants for them, and Jason says e wants them to have meaning in their lives, and be happy. Mike asks if he’d want them to do what he does. Jason says, no, and Mike asks if he’d stop them if they tried. Jason doesn’t know; they’re so young. Mike says what if they said they wanted to be like their dad? Jason says he’d give them reasons why it’s a bad idea, and pray they listened. Mike says he tried with his son. He tried to warn him away from Skully, but it did no good. Skully was a big man to him, and he was just the father who walked out a long time ago. There are some mistakes you can’t take back. Sonny returns, and tells them that he was at the police station. They wanted to talk to him about the body Mike hid. He needs Mike to tell him everything he remembers.

Jordan says she knew the name meant something to Margaux, but she had no idea he was her father. Margaux says, saying out loud to Sonny made it real. Her father was murdered. Acknowledging it intellectually isn’t the same as grasping it emotionally. She wonders how it happened that the body was put in a second location. Jordan tells her to let the investigators do their job, and see what else turns up. Margaux says it was his birthday the other day. She doesn’t know what to do. Jordan suggests she take care of herself, and get whatever help she needs to deal with it. She asks if Margaux has someone she can call, but Margaux says she doesn’t need counselling. She needs to nail the SOB who killed her father.

On the phone at the bar, Curtis asks when he can expect the results. It would mean a great deal to him if they could be expedited. Sam sits next to him, and asks if it’s about Nina. He says there are still no results. He knows it’s a long-shot, but he knows what it means to Nina if he can find her daughter. Sam asks if he’s too close, and wants her to take over, but he says he has no trouble remaining objective. Sam says, lucky him, and he asks if somebody is having trouble remaining emotionally detached. She says she promised someone she wouldn’t talk about it, and he asks if by someone, she means Drew. He’s been off lately, and his mind is only half on the conversation. Whatever is weighing him down, Curtis wants to help. She wishes she had a suggestion.

Cameran tells Josslyn he has no idea why Oscar left. Josslyn asks if he’s sure, and Cameron says Oscar told him something about a hike he wants to take her on. Franco comes in, and Cameron says he has to go. He tells Josslyn not to tell Oscar he blew his secret. He thanks Franco for picking him up. They leave, and Josslyn apologizes to Carly; clearly it’s going to take longer than she thought. Carly says she’s happy to help. Josslyn says, while she’s at it, maybe she can explain boys.

Terry says some of the children doing the trial didn’t survive, and Drew says, it could kill him. Terry says, or it could shrink the tumor. Drew says their only option is to bet Oscar’s life on the unknown, and Kim says, he’s terminal. While the treatment is risky, if it works… Drew says it could buy him more time. Terry thinks Oscar is a good candidate. The doctors running the trial will make the final determination before the end of the year, but she can begin the application process. They can change their minds any time, but it’s a detailed screening process. If they want the option, she has to get started on the paperwork. Kim thinks should try, and Drew agrees. Oscar flies in, and asks if it’s true. Does he have cancer?

Sonny asks Mike to tell him everything he remembers after following him to Croton. Mike says he saw Sonny bury the body. Jason asks if anyone was with him, but he says he was alone. He dug it up, and hauled it out to the trunk of his car. He went back, and saw the gun was still there. He got it, and filled in the hole. He stopped about twenty miles outside of town, and called Charlie, who owed him a favor. He knew Charlie was expanding his club, and found out he was about to pour the foundation. By that afternoon, it was under three feet of concrete. He thought helping; he didn’t know he was making it worse. Sonny asks what he did with the gun.

Sam tells Curtis her best advice is to be a friend to Drew. Be there if he wants to talk. If he doesn’t, don’t push it. Curtis confirms Drew has something on his mind she can’t discuss. He says she doesn’t have to answer, but they’re business partners, and what she does affects the bottom line. What’s the deal with her and Jason?

Back home, Cameron tells Franco that he has homework. Franco was hoping they could talk. Cameron says his mom’s not there. If Franco wants to say they hugged it out, he’ll play along, and not tell her anything different. Franco says he knows Cameron is a good son and brother, but he dropped the ball with the princess pencils. Cameron says Aiden loves Princess Calenda of Everwood, and he even watches the show with him, but he doesn’t want Aiden bringing that stuff to school. He’s not an unfeeling jerk. He’s trying to protect his brother. Franco says as the man of the family, that’s his job. It’s only a matter of time before he’s gone. Cameron says at least he admits it.

Josslyn asks Carly why she thinks Oscar left like that. She’s going to text him, but Carly suggests she doesn’t. Nothing drives anyone away like holding on too tight.

Oscar says the meeting is about him. Terry says she’ll be in touch, and tries to jet, but Oscar asks if she’s an oncologist. She thinks his mother should answer his questions, and gets the hell out of there. Oscar tells them to stop pretending and say it. Kim tells Oscar that he has cancer. She holds him, and he cries, she cries, and I almost want to cry.

Carly says if Josslyn isn’t carful, Oscar could feel smothered, and feel like she’s not letting him be himself. Josslyn says she’s not like other girls. Carly agrees, and says she knows it feels deeper, but it’s new for her. She can give Josslyn advice she had to learn the hard way. Josslyn decides not to text. Oscar might think she’s overreacting. She asks Carly how can you tell if you’re in love?

Franco says Cameron is wrong; he’s not going anywhere. He knows he has to prove it, but in the meantime, it would be great if Cameron would try. If he wants to take it further and have s real conversation, he’s available. Keep in mind that one day, he’ll be fine, and the next, he’ll be asking meaningful questions about his existence. Cameron wonders why he would.

Oscar asks if this is real, and Kim says she wanted to shield him for as long as possible. He says it explains the headaches, and asks if the cancer is in his brain. Kim tells him yes; he has a tumor. Drew explains that they can’t do surgery; it’s too dangerous. Oscar asks if he’ll have to do chemo, and will his hair fall out? Kim says, no, and Oscar says he feels okay most of the time, so it’s not that serious, right?

Sam tells Curtis that she loves their partnership. He’s an awesome PI, and they’re becoming pretty good friends, but she doesn’t intend to discuss that with Curtis. He says his bad; it was intrusive. He asks if she forgives him. He thinks he’s just protecting. She asks if there’s something wrong with him and Jordan. He says the wedding date is set, but not everyone is happy about it. Part of him wants to keep the peace. Sam says not to wait for anyone. None of them know how long they have to love each other. He says it’s good advice. Maybe she should take it herself.

Mike says he told Sonny that Skully was no good, but he wouldn’t listen. If he’d been any kind of father, Sonny wouldn’t have gotten mixed up in the business. Sonny knows he was trying to help, and asks what he did with the gun. Mike says, what gun? What are they talking about? Jason says they’re talking about the body in Croton that he dug up. He saw the gun in the grave. Mike says he doesn’t know anything about a body. He gambles a little, but doesn’t get involved in the rough stuff. His son is mixed up with bad people, but he’ll find his way; he has a good heart. Jason says he’s right. He knows Mike’s son is a good man.

Josslyn says she loves Oscar. They’ve said it, but what if it’s a mistake? How does she know? Carly wishes there was a magic formula. A sure fire way to prove you’re in love. You just have to risk your heart and hope the other person feels the same, and hope it lasts.

Franco says why would Cameron be asking about the meaning of life, when he has more things think about like football? Cameron says he’s not that shallow, and Aiden likes football as much as he likes Princess Calenda. Franco says Aiden loves it because Cameron does. Cameron goes upstairs, and Elizabeth calls. She’s in a bar, and he asks if it’s been that kind of day. She’s with Terry, and Franco asks if Terry said anything about Oscar getting worse. Cameron overhears, and asks if that was his mom. Franco says she’s out for a drink with Terry. Cameron asks what kind of doctor Terry is, and Franco says, a pediatric oncologist.

Kim tells Oscar the tumor is malignant and growing. That’s why he passed out, and the symptoms will get worse. He asks, how much worse? and Drew says that’s why they were talking to Terry. There’s a treatment option. Oscar wants to know what’s going to happen to him. Is he going to die?

Jordan tells Margaux that Mike didn’t work for Skully. What would be the motive? Margaux realizes they’ve been looking backward. They thought Sonny was covering for Mike. What if Mike is covering for Sonny. What if Sonny killed her father?

Jason tells Sonny the nurse has Mike settled down. Sonny says he should never have asked about Croton. It’s not so much that Mike moved the body, but the fact that his son killed somebody. That’s where Sonny crossed the line. His father failed him, but he was angry, and would have chosen it anyway. He still would have taken the gun and killed Marino. It would have bene the same, even if Mike had warned him. Jason asks if Sonny learned anything, and Sonny says Marino was Skully’s lawyer. He was also Margaux’s father. Jason says it makes sense; it’s personal for her. Sonny says she’s not going to stop until she takes him down.

Brad talks to Julian about Wiley, Carly wants to know if there’s anything else to worry about besides the gun, and Oscar asks how long Kim has known he has cancer.

The Real Housewives of Orange County

Kelly accompanies Tamra to the doctor. Tamra is hoping it’s the last time. When the boot comes off, and Eddie is off his medication, they’ll be banging like monkeys. Tamra asks Kelly about meeting with Emily. She thinks Emily is sweet, and Kelly says she just doesn’t like guys who get involved. Tamra agrees. In her interview, Tamra says she’s never seen Emily like that. She tells Kelly she explained to Emily that her problem was with Steve not Shane. We flash back to that. Kelly tells Tamra that Steve dumped Vicki a while back. He moved into his mom’s house and Vicki didn’t tell anyone. When they went to Cabo, she was hysterical. In her interview, Kelly says it’s Vicki’s pattern. They all move into her house. It’s like a revolving door of men. Tamra says Steve has his own house, but Kelly tells her that he sold it.

The doctor tells Tamra that her foot is getting better. She hasn’t been putting any pressure on it, and it’s staying in alignment. He tells her to avoid too much motion. Kelly admires the doctor, and thinks he could be her bench warmer. The doctor says in two weeks, Tamra can transition out of the boot to flat shoes.

Gina takes her rowdy children to a farm with Emily. They go on a wagon tour where they pick their own vegetables. Everyone eats a carrot, and they get in a wagon pulled by a tractor. Strawberries are next, and they pick those themselves. Gina asks Emily what she thought about last night. Emily is waiting for Shannon to come out of her shell. Gina says she apologized for the misunderstanding, but she was just going by what she saw. She says you can’t get mad because someone disagrees. Emily says, nothing wrong with that. People disagree with her all the time, but she’s usually right. Gina isn’t saying Shannon has to be her friend, but she doesn’t know anything. In her interview, Gina says Shannon doesn’t like her. She’s like a polar vortex. Gina doesn’t want to be fighting over petty bullsh*t. She tells Emily that when she talks about Matt, there are a lot of opinions. Emily suggests she can receive and value them, and Gina says, but she can’t let others opinions dictate what she does her kids. They’re happy. She then explains to her son why he can’t pee on the strawberries.

Vicki has set up a wine tasting for herself and Tamra. In her interview, she explains that her friend Domenico cook for her friends. She hopes they can put things behind them, and Italian night is another step in the right direction. She tells Tamra that she and Steve were looking at a house in the desert. They’re happy together, but she’s insecure about being overly loving, since Steve isn’t demonstrative. In her interview, Tamra says she’s getting nervous. Steve seems like the perfect guy, but so did Brooks. Tamra says Kelly told her that he had to move in with his mommy when they broke up. In her interview, Vicki says they took a break. She’s learned what to do and what not to do, and they need to communicate better. Vicki tells Tamra that Kelly better shut her fat ass mouth. Tamra thinks she just wants to make sure Steve doesn’t want Vicki’s money. Vicki thinks Kelly should mind her own business.

They discuss Kelly’s divorce from Michael, and we flash back to Kelly saying she doesn’t trust him. Tamra says clearly, they were having problems. In her interview, Tamra says it was a volatile relationship. Vicki asks about Gina, and Tamra says she’s filed for divorce. Vicki wonders how she’s going to support her children. In her interview, Tamra says everyone is shocked that Gina claims nothing happened to instigate the divorce, but she’s calling bullsh*t. Vicki doesn’t like Gina’s flip attitude toward marriage. She says Gina should learn from their lessons, but Tamra doesn’t think you can learn from someone else’s mistakes. They do some wine tasting.

Gina and Kelly walk and do stairs. In her interview, Gina says there are a lot of weird workouts there. Kelly says stairs kick butt, and asks if Gina is okay. Gina says she’s dealing with a lot. Matt just got the paperwork. We see a clip of her saying the marriage didn’t fail; it’s just ending. Kelly asks if Gina got a lawyer. She says she has one, but they’re doing everything transparent and together. They’re really friends, and there’s no animosity. In her interview, Kelly has no idea what happens behind closed doors, but they don’t fight and they’re best friends; why are they getting a divorce. Gina doesn’t think they had real problems, but him being far away caused them look at the relationship, and they don’t feel the way they should. Kelly says marriages go up and down. She asks if they’ve tried counseling, and Gina says it’s not like they don’t know how to communicate. They married young, and it’s just not what she wants in a partner. It’s not what they want for each other. Kelly says the problem in the OC is that everyone gets divorced. In her interview, Gina feels a connection with Kelly. Kelly asks if they have sex, and Gina says they’re still attracted to each other. Kelly wonders why they’re getting divorced. Gina says her mother has been married forty years, and she doesn’t have thirty-two more years in her.

Domenico arrives at Vicki’s house. They plan a cooking party, and he dances with her. He asks if Steve is jealous, but Vicki says Steve likes him. Don didn’t, because he’s too flirty. Domenico says he’s Italian. What is he supposed to do?

Shane asks Emily if he’s not invited, and she says it’s just the women. Does he really want to go? He says, no, and she says she thought he’d want to avoid conflict with the women. He says a certain woman specifically. Emily says she sat with Kelly, who doesn’t want it to be awkward. Shane suggests the way to avoid that is to not call names. She asks if he wants Kelly to apologize, and Shane says he’s willing to indulge that. In her interview, Emily says she resolved the issue, and she and Kelly are moving forward. She’s nervous to ask for an apology, because Kelly is crazy.

Vicki gives Domenico a list of who he can flirt with. He asks what about her, and she says Steve wouldn’t like that. In her interview, Vicki says she and Steve aren’t married, and her heart pitter patters at Domenico’s accent, but no flirting.

Tamra and Gina arrive first. In her interview, Tamra says she can sense the sexual tension. Vicki and Domenico have a spark. He’s the one Vicki should be dating. Gina shows up next, and Vicki tells Domenico that she has a check mark. Shannon and Kelly round out the group. Gina tells Domenico that she’s from the East Coast, and knows Italian food. He asks if she cooks, and she says she makes a mean Bolognese. In her interview, Tamra says Vicki thinks she can diffuse everything, but sh*t always happens.

Emily talks to Kelly. She says they worked it out, but asks if she can says she’s sorry to Shane. Kelly says, totally, and Emily tells her that Shane is a good guy. He’s witty and dry, but that’s how Kelly is too. She thinks if they start over, they’ll get along. Kelly says it’s her fault, but if he’s Mormon, he should accept her apology. Emily says it means world to her. In her interview, Kelly says when she’s attacked, she feels the need to win, and doesn’t think before she speaks. She probably needs to work on that. Tamra thinks that Vicki has a weird relationship with Domenico, and that they slept together. They chop tomatoes, and in her interview, Tamra says she doesn’t think Emily should have sharp tools. She did threaten to kill someone. Vicki doesn’t know what they’re doing. The only thing learns these girls don’t know how to cook

Tamra tells Kelly that Vicki is pissed because Kelly said Steve lived with his mommy. Telephone, telegram, tell Tamra. As Kelly is talking about Steve, Vicki approaches. She tells Kelly that Steve lived with his mom, not his mommy. Like this makes a difference. In her interview, Vicki says that Kelly thinks Steve is getting in the way of her and Vicki’s friendship, but it’s Kelly getting in the way. If Kelly wants drama, she needs to go somewhere else.

The table is set outside for dinner. Vicki wants a nice night, and wants them to get through their differences. Vicki thinks Gina doesn’t know what she’s up against with a divorce. Gina says she’s not in pain. Vicki is bothered by how nonchalant Gina is. Gina says it’s a modern dynamic family structure, and Shannon says it doesn’t make sense. Like this is any of their business. Vicki tells Gina that they’ve all been through divorces, and it’s not pretty. Gina says she knows who she married, and he’s a good man; they’re just not on the same page. It won’t be painful. In her interview, Gina says they have no idea what she’s gone through. She thinks she knows more. Shannon thinks it’s weird, and Vicki says she’s being flippant. In her interview, Gina says, everybody is different, so shut up. She tells the group that they’re just not great for each other, but she knows who he is. She says it’s not about money. She’d give up the alimony to save the family dynamic, and Matt would pay double to save it. Shannon asks if she’s insinuating it’s all about the money. Gina says not in their situation. Vicki – who is more stuck on respecting the institution of marriage than anything else – tells Gina that she said her vows before God when she got married. Gina says she doesn’t believe in God. Throughout this whole thing, the guitar player serenading them is like, wtf?

Vicki says, Gina doesn’t believe in God? and Gina says she believes in a higher power, a god. She just doesn’t know who it is. Kelly says she always gets what she prays for, and I’d like to know her secret. Prayers are always answered, but sometimes the answer is no. Vicki says that might be what Gina is missing. Omg, I get what Vicki is saying, but this is so the wrong way to say it. And the wrong place. Gina says she believes in herself, and Vicki says maybe that’s why she’s in the place she’s in. In her interview, Vicki says Gina better hope she’s right. If she’s wrong, she’ll pay for eternity. Vicki asks if she has no moral compass in her soul. Gina says that’s ridiculous, and sounds stupid. Vicki says she’s a lot of things, but stupid isn’t one of them. <insert your own comment here> In her interview, Gina says her morals are in check, but not because she’s following a set of rules. She’s just trying to be a good person. Gina says she gets that she’s not datable. She gets up, says something about battling this for her children until she dies, and tells them, back off. She goes to the bathroom. Vicki is still stunned Gina doesn’t believe in God, and Emily says, maybe it’s an act. Vicki thinks somebody is having an affair. Tamra says it’s none of their business.

Gina calls Matt from the bathroom. She needs him to talk to her. She’s upset. They’re mean, and she can’t. Them not being right for each other isn’t good enough. She needs a pep talk. At the table, Tamra remarks on the divorce rate being high in the OC, and Vicki says that’s why Briana moved. Emily leaves to check on Gina. Tamra doesn’t think Gina wants a divorce. The others think she does. In her interview, Tamra says Gina still loves him.

Emily goes in the bathroom. Gina says she’s trying to communicate to women who are unwilling to receive the information she’s giving them. Emily says every person there has lived what she’s going through, and it conjures up emotions. In her interview, Gina understands, and says she can listen to their stories and advice, and thank them for sharing. Emily tells her not to go on the defense. Her truth isn’t theirs. In her interview, Gina says Vicki is annoyed that she’s not rethinking her decision, but she can tell Vicki she is.

Gina comes back to the table. She says she’s not a person to show herself being upset to other people. Vicki says they’re just trying to mother her. They have to respect where she’s coming from, and recognize their situations are different. In her interview, Shannon thinks it’s great that Gina is being positive, and it’s amicable. She’s hopeful, but in reality, it probably won’t turn out amicable. Gina has to be prepared.

Emily says she’s afraid that Kelly and Shane together might cause an explosion; they’re both snarkastic. Kelly brings Jolie along, along with her olive branch, a succulent plant. Jolie goes off to hang out with Emily’s stepdaughter Chanel. Emily says the first time they met, it didn’t go well. She appreciates Kelly coming over, and asks if it’s okay to leave them alone. She does, and Kelly says it feels awkward, but Shane says it’s all good. She says she’s going through a hard divorce, and he says, it’s never easy. Kelly says she’s pretty sensitive, and Vicki and Steve have been talking about her. She has a problem with that, and it had her on the edge. When she saw Steve, she wanted to make things right, and ask why. Shane didn’t speak up until he left. Shane says that’s when they made eye contact, and he thought he should respond. Kelly says, it happened fast. She needs a court reporter to take down what she says. Shane says that might go against her. She says she wondered why he was getting involved, and when he said she was drunk, it pushed her over the edge. She admits she was out of line with her behavior, and her mouth worked without her brain. He suggests if she’s going to confront someone, that she present the evidence, and they can’t blow her off. She says that’s the lawyer in him, and he says it’s common sense. In her interview, Kelly says she has two options; to be nice or become a little bitch again. She’s going to laugh it off. Emily comes back, and Kelly asks what they’re doing today. Shane says talking trash about her when she leaves. Okay. That was funny. Kelly thinks it’d funny too, but Emily doesn’t.

This season, one of Shannon’s daughters wants to get on birth control, Shannon whines about being fat again, a little dog! Boating, a roller coaster, Vicki falls in a creek, Tamra flashes, rich girl problems, Shannon and Tamra going at it, Vicki and Shannon going at it, and Tamra wants Vicki’s side of the story.

🏈 Bravo’s Play by Play is a keeper! It’s no People’s Couch, but definitely Bravo’s answer to AMC’s Talking Dead. Without the recent brouhaha. From the opening, where Jerry O’Connell, Michael Yo, Brandon Schaub, and Dave Holmes offer us different pieces of fruit a la The Real Housewives, I was fascinated. Andy made a guest appearance in the premiere episode, along with a check-in via video chat from Jerry’s wife, Rebecca Romijn. It was all a delightful cup of tea. Bravo, Bravo!

Fear the Walking Dead

Morgan looks down on the wandering zombies in the parking lot. June asks if Al copies. Jim suggests she’s dead, and June tells him, shut it, Jimbo. Jim wonders what Morgan is waiting for. He got them into this. Wen asks if he can do the honors when Jim becomes a zombie. Jim says, the way it’s looking, he won’t be the only one who needs to get put down. Morgan is sorry, but doesn’t know how they’re getting out. June says, if he doesn’t want to lead, fine, but he can help.

Victor hears Alicia yelling. He and John see her and Charlie across the water. John wonders how the hell they found them. Victor says perhaps he was right; they just needed to believe.

Alicia gets through to June on the radio. She tells June she’s with Charlie, and they just found John and Victor. They’re cut off by the flooding, but they’re going to get them. She asks where they are, but Morgan says he can’t tell her; it’s not safe. He got them stuck, and doesn’t know if there’s a way out. Alicia says she did what he told her to – she tried to be there for someone who needed her. Now they found John and Victor; she’ll find them. She tells him, hang in there. June says they have to find Al first, and Morgan tells her they should do that after they get John and Victor. She wonders how they’re getting down, and Morgan says, maybe the same way they came up.

John says the crocodile is hungry today. He says, they ain’t coming back. They won’t be able to find a way. Victor says his doubts are unfounded. John asks if that’s why Victor isn’t drowning his sorrows, and Victor says he’s saving it for when they get out. John asks what makes him think Alicia and Charlie can help. Victor says he was unable to see the promise of what lies ahead, and John thinks he might have used all that up. The way he looks at life, he put himself on an island before living on the brighter side. Someone helped him see it, and took him off the island. Victor says someone helped him get off the island. Alicia knows what Charlie did; who she took. Now, they’re working together. If that doesn’t make John think anything is possible, he doesn’t know what else will.

Alicia tells Charlie that they need something that will float; like a boat or canoe. They look around.

Martha bleeds onto a map. She puts a paper towel on her bullet wound, as I would do.

Jim looks down, and I say, oh, jump already. He hears me, and stands on the ledge. Morgan tells him to wait. Why, is a mystery. Jim asks if Morgan thinks he’s jumping. Morgan asks what he is doing, and Jim asks if he’s ever seen a meat puppet (a zombie, not a member of the band) walk with broken bones. He’s not dong that until some a-hole pokes something pointy through his skull. He’s pissing on them; it’s the only fun he has. And he does. Jim asks if Morgan is there to make himself feel better about what he did to him. Morgan says they’re going to try and get to Alicia, and find a way out. Jim asks if Morgan is asking him to help. Morgan knows he doesn’t have the right. Jim says he can’t do anything about dying, but can decide how he goes. Wow. That’s one long pee. Sarah joins them, and Morgan tells her, Jim’s not coming.

Sarah says, really, Jimbo? He’s not going hand over his beer recipe? They may never see him again. At least not like this. He tells her, go to hell. She says he’s a Class A a-hole, who fills every room with a philosophical fart, but his beer is poetry in a bottle. That’s him too, and he can live on. Jim considers this, and says she’s right. It’s an exceptional brew that packs a nutritional punch. It’s refreshing, with enough alcohol content to provide a buzz. It can give comfort to a dying man. And she can bring him comfort by turning around and leaving him alone. If she trips and breaks her neck, he’ll call it a bonus. She says it’s been nice knowing him. I’d pretend to trip and freak him out.

As they’re looking at some cars, someone shoots at Alicia and Charlie. It’s Martha, who says they shouldn’t be there. Someone broke her chain, and she’s going to fix it She’s going to make them strong. Alicia says she’s hurt; they can help. Martha says she doesn’t need help. She’s not weak. Martha continues to shoot at them, and Alicia repeats they can help her. Martha tells her that she said she doesn’t need it, and keels over. Alicia goes over to her, still keeping a gun on her.

Morgan and the others sneak around the hospital. June wonders where the zombies are. Morgan taps the ground with his stick, telling them to stay close. They’ll circle back. They head down the hall, and Morgan signals for them to stay back. He looks around the corner. They see zombies under a pile of cement, and continue on. There are dead bodies everywhere, and Sarah says, Al has been busy.

They keep walking. Morgan taps some more, and calls out for Al. Luci looks at a clipboard, and says Al left a message. Sarah takes it, and reads. Al hopes they’re alive. The walkie died, but she doesn’t now if they did. She’s taking the freight elevator. If they find out she’s dead, get her tapes and make copies. And if they find that c-word, they need to be settling her sh*t. Sarah says, she didn’t use c-word; she used the full quesadilla. Wen says with the power out, the elevator won’t be running long.

John dresses his wound, saying it’s going to get infected in the muck. Victor says, maybe not. John asks if Victor hears that, and they see the Al’s van, driving right through the water. Victor takes a swig from his bottle, and John does the same. Alicia says they were looking for a boat, and found this instead. Charlie gives John his hat, and he asks if she’s talking now. Victor asks if they’re okay Alicia nods, and says, him? John asks who their fellow passenger might be. It’s Martha.

Morgan says the hallway doubles back; they should go. Outside, they’re still surrounded. Even if they get down, can’t get away – unless he creates a distraction. He got them into this, and has to get them out. He can do something to draw the zombies away from the front. June says he doesn’t have to, but Morgan says he does, and she has to let him. June asks if he’s getting out, and he says they have to go.

The others leave. Morgan drags a body out onto the roof. Jim asks if he got the others killed too. Morgan says they have work to do.

On the radio, John says it’s safe to talk. June asks if he’s okay, and he says he opened up his side a little, but he’s good now. He tells her that he had a Black Jack for her, but he ate it. She tells him that they’re at the hospital, and he says they’re headed that way. She suggests the meet on the outskirts of town. The city is filled with the dead. They can’t miss each other again.

They see a crowd of zombies lining the fence outside. Sarah tells Momo, they’re going to need a distraction. He copies. He wants them to go back inside. He just needs a minute.

Martha comes to with her hands tied. She asks what they did, and John says they’re pretty cordial considering what she did to them. Alicia says she wanted to leave Martha, and Martha says she should have. Charlie says she would have died, but Martha says she wouldn’t have been weak. Alicia says she remembers that Morgan said he’d help her. She should be thanking them. She laughs, and says, they’ll see.

Morgan asks Jim for a hand, and Jim applauds. Just kidding. Jim says Morgan has given him a good reason not to. He sits, and Morgan hangs the body over the edge of the roof. He swings it to get momentum, and then heaves it out and down. It hits the roof of a car, and the alarm goes off. The zombies gravitate to it. Morgan gets on the radio, and says, come on. He doesn’t know how long it will last.

June tells Morgan, get going. Jim too. They’ll wait. The group heads for an ambulance. Morgan says, the power is out, the elevator isn’t working, and the stairs are flooded with walkers. June says, anyone could have made that call, but Morgan says he has things to make up for. If he knows he got them out, and she’s on her way back to John, maybe he can make up for something. The group gets in the ambulance, and pulls out.

Jim tells Morgan that he’s off the hook, at least with them. He gets it. Whatever you have to make up for, it’s hard. Even if works out, he won’t know if what he’s done makes up for it. Does he think Jim being up there is the easy way out? Take it from a Class A a-hole, death is a certainty; getting out from sh*t you’ve done, not so much.

Jim asks Morgan to do him a favor before he… Would he… Morgan nods. June asks if Morgan copies, and asks what’s gong on. He says he’s getting Jim off the roof; he’s not leaving Jim behind. The car alarm is dead. They’ll have to keep going; he’ll find own way out.

John says he just stitched up a woman who tried to kill everyone he cares about. Anything is possible. Alicia says Morgan told her that if she was in the position to help, she should do it. So that’s what she’s doing.

Sarah tells Morgan that they’re all there. June says he’s wrong. No matter what he thinks, they need him. Jim tells Morgan he’s not going to get off as east as he thought. Morgan tells them not to do this, but Victor says, it’s too late. They already are.

A long truck with a hydraulic crane is outside the hospital. Morgan asks where they got it, and Sarah says, the engine is dead, but the generator for the hydraulics purrs like kitten. Martha says, this isn’t going to end well; leave now. Luci grabs an ax, and they hook the truck to the van with a chain. The ladder goes up, but Morgan says, it’s shy by a couple of stories. John asks if he can make it down to that level. Morgan gets a cable, wrapping one end around something to anchor it to the roof, and the other end around himself. He says, let’s go, and Jim sits. Morgan says he can’t leave him up there. Jim says Morgan can’t do anything for him, and tells him to go. Morgan is real sorry, and Jim says he should be, but don’t give himself a reason to be sorry for them too.

Morgan climbs down the side of the building. A zombie pops out of a terrace door, and he and Morgan struggle. The zombie pushes Morgan against the ledge, but crack shot John nails him.

On the ground, June, Luci and Alicia dispatch zombies. Morgan asks how it looks, and June says they’re drawing a crowd. They don’t have much time. In a phenomenal leap, Morgan launches himself into the cherry picker. I say, holy sh*t! He nods to Jim. John tells them all to come back, and they get on top of the truck bed. Zombies clamor at Charlie and Wen in the cab, and start to surround the truck.

Victor says, it’s one hella predicament. Sarah asks Wen if they’re all right, and he says they’re still kicking. Morgan say they need to clear a path; draw them away. He tells them to go to the van; he’s getting them out of here. On the radio, Jim says he’s got this. He can choose how he goes out, and he thinks this beats pissing in the wind. He asks if Sarah is there, and asks if she can remember something. His recipe. She says, sh*t on a stick.

Jim stands on the ledge, and gives her the recipe. She writes it down, and he tells her to hold the radio close to her ear. It’s the most important part, and no one else can know. We don’t know either, since only Sarah hears it. He says, there’s love in there too, if she can believe it, but that’s it. Everyone smiles sadly. Sarah copies that. Jim closes his eyes, and jumps. He goes through the roof of a car, and the zombies move toward it. Morgan says they should get out of there.

Uh-oh. Martha is gone. Charlie says she’s hurt; they have to look for her. Sarah says there’s no time, and Alicia says she doesn’t want their help.

It’s quiet in the van. Luci asks what they’re going to call the beer when they brew it. She says it was called Augie’s Ale, but Sarah says they’re not calling it that chicken sh*t name that the marketing company told him to give it. The name has to mean something. They decide on Jimbo’s Beerbos. Morgan says, Jim would hate that, and Sarah says she knows.

June asks where they’re going, and Victor says, out of the city. Alicia says the hurricane took out pretty much everything. Morgan says he told Jim about Virginia, where he was heading. Jim isn’t making it, but he thinks they can. He says, let’s find out, then make our way there together.

Martha draws on Jim’s face. Bitch. Jim opens his eyes, and makes zombie noises. She puts a spiky-ended pole through him, and says he’s strong now. She says, you’re strong. Now let’s go make him strong too.

Next time, the finale; Martha is going to be stronger than ever, Al is alive, Morgan can’t loose any of them, and Morgan has writing on his face even though he’s not dead.

😳 My apologizes to Jerry O’Connell – who I’m so sure reads this – since I’ve been calling him Charlie O’Connell in referring to his new show, Bravo Play by Play (which premieres tomorrow!). Charlie is his brother. who looks a lot like him and also played his brother on Sliders, which is probably what caused the confusion in my head. But while we’re on the subject, Sliders would be a great show to bring back in syndication.

📺 Brief Observations from This Week’s TV Watching…

I don’t know if Dateline: Secrets Uncovered is the best place to advertise e-Harmony.

Gleaned from watching 90 Day Fiancé – no matter how much or how little of the English language someone knows, everyone has WTF? down, as well as the eff word in general.

And from watching Hoarding: Buried Alive, the two most common reactions upon seeing a hoard for the first time are, oh sh*t! and oh my God!

I finally saw The Shape of Water. The merdude was cute, in a Groot sort of way. It reminded me of how I was in love with Pepe Le Pew when I was five. I also wondered if the guy from Boardwalk Empire is just doomed to play skeevy psychopaths.

On tonight’s 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, Jesse was returning to the US to put the final nail in the relationship coffin. He hinted at something abominable that Darcey had done that was some sort of deal breaker. The closest I could come to finding anything was this, but I’m not quite satisfied.

General Hospital

On the phone, Sonny tells someone to let him know what they find out. Mike approaches Sonny, and says he needs to know how much trouble he made, referring to the body in the basement at Charlie’s.

Kristina tells Julian it’s a shame she can’t hang out at Charlie’s. He asks, why not? and she says, the owner. She thinks it’s a clever mob front, and he says he’s out of that. She tells him that he’s said that before. He says it’s a legit business. Like it or not, he’s here stay. If not, there’s the door.

Jordan tells someone on the phone she appreciates their assistance. Let her know if the PCPD can help in the future. She tells Curtis that Carter is being remanded to his adult children, but he’s being brought to Port Charles as they speak. In the interim, he needs a place to stay, and she arranged for it to be there. Curtis thanks her, saying it means a lot, and more to Nina if it leads to the daughter she didn’t know she has.

Maxie wonders what the homeless lady was doing at the church, and tells Nina that she felt bad. The woman really smelled, and she wanted to take her for a spa day. There’s a delivery for Nina. Nina says it’s from her mother’s lawyers.

Sam tells Jason sorry she didn’t give him notice she was going to Oregon; her sister needed her support. Jason says Sonny told him that Kristina is moving back, and Sam says Kristina is staying with her. Their mother offered, but she doesn’t want friction. Jason asks if she’s playing peacemaker, and Sam says she’s giving Kristina space. It’s hard getting over a relationship, after giving up time and emotions. She needs to take a step back to rebuild her life, and figure out what she wants and needs without pressure. She was lucky to have support, so she’s giving Kristina the same. Jason says she’s a good sister. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Drew. He wants to see Scout, but thinks it might be a bad time. Jason says he was just leaving, and asks how Oscar is.

Josslyn tells Oscar to keep his eyes closed, and they approach her decorated bench. She says she’s shocked his mom let him come out after being released from the hospital. She notices the balloons are deflated and the crepe paper isn’t looking so great. She tells him it looked less depressing yesterday. He loves that she did it; it’s not her fault. He’ll try his best not pass out next anniversary. Josslyn says waking up in the ER must be scary, even though it turned out to not be serious.

Carter Buckley is brought to Curtis’s room. Curtis and Jordan introduce themselves. Carter says he’d shake hands, but… and shows them the cuffs. Curtis says before they start, condolences on his recent prognosis. Carter appreciates it, and wonders what the meeting is about. Curtis knows he was arrested for brokering illegal adoptions, and has a question about one of his clients. Carter was advised not to discuss that, and Curtis says he doesn’t want to make trouble. He just has a question about one client. What can Carter tell him about Madeline Reeves?

Maxie asks if Nina wants her to get rid of the box, but Nina rips it open. She looks inside, and says it’s a box of stuff from her childhood. She takes out some scarves, her first running gloves, and a framed picture of her and Nathan when he was a baby. Maxie looks at it.

Kristina tells Julian that she needs a job, and asks if he’s hiring. He says he needs a bartender, and she tells him she’s an expert, but not in an obnoxious mixologist way. He wonders how much it would piss her father off if he hired her, and says he’s not interested in making waves, especially with Sonny. Kristina says Julian sells Sonny’s coffee, so he obviously has a stake in the business; he should be on board.

Mike is concerned about what happens if Julian get the go-ahead for renovation. Sonny says they don’t know the extent of what he’s doing, and so far, he’s been able to block him getting a permit; it’s a non-issue. Mike says what if the next one isn’t rejected? What is he going to do? Mike says he thought he was watching Sonny’s back when he moved the body, but he created more problems. Sonny says he’ll take care of it. Mike says he created the mess; he’s cleaning it up for good this time.

Sam asks if something happened to Oscar, and Jason says he collapsed and ended up in the ER, but he seemed okay. He leaves, and Sam asks Drew, what’s going on? He says he just wanted to see his favorite girl.

Josslyn says she and Oscar still have a lot to learn about each other. He asks if she means the low blood sugar thing, and says it’s nothing to worry about. She says it sounds silly, and bringing it up is trivial in the grand scheme of things, but something is bothering her. She found out the riddle he texted to her wasn’t from him.

Sonny tells Mike there’s nothing to fix, and Mike says don’t treat him like that. Sonny understands Mike was trying to protect him, but he was eighteen, and he’s not that kid anymore; he has resources. Julian, he can handle. He tells Mike the less he knows, the better. If he really wants to help, then let it go. it’s not good for him to be stressed.

Julian tells Kristina, if Sonny has a problem, he’s the one who will hear about it. Why doesn’t she try somewhere else? He has some business to take care of, and Kristina says she’ll help with the garnishes, and gets behind the bar. Valerie comes in, and tells Julian that she has a message from the city council. They’ve reached a decision about his permit.

Sonny says it’s time to take Mike for his checkup. Jason comes in, and Sonny suggests he come along so they can talk. Mike says it’s ridiculous. Sonny has better things to do than babysit him. He has a nurse, and one of Sonny’s guys can drive. He tells Sonny to focus on his business, and he’ll feel like less of a burden. Sonny agrees.

Valerie tells Julian that his renovation plans were approved. Kristina tells him that he’s low on vermouth. Valerie is excited to see her, and Kristina apologizes for not texting. She tells Valerie that she’s moving back, and Valerie says she missed hanging out with her. Kristina says she just started working at Charlie’s, and Julian says he hasn’t offered her a job. Valerie says she can vouch for Kristina’s classic cocktails. Kristina starts rattling off cocktail recipes. Julian says he has to make some calls; they’ll talk later. Valerie says if she keeps reciting recipes, he’ll hire her just to shut her up. She wonders why Kristina is back when she’s living with Parker.

Drew holds Scout, and Sam says he has the magic touch. Usually when she needs a nap, she’s all kinds of fussy. He says, it’s crazy. Kids grow so quickly, and change so fast. It’s like a lifetime in a few months. He wishes he could slow it down. Sam suggest she put Scout down for her nap, so they can talk. Drew says he could use it.

Oscar says he should have told Josslyn that Cameron helped. He’s not best the at romantic gestures. She says, he is; he put the video together. He put a lot of thought into it. He says, the point is, there is a lot they don’t know, even after a year. She says the good news is, they’re young and have plenty of time to figure each other out. Geez. Not trying to tug at the audience’s heartstrings too hard or anything.

Carter says he never heard of Madeline. Curtis shows him her picture. He says Carter looks pale. Carter says he’s fine. He’s sorry, but he has an obligation to protect the identity of his clients. Jordan says, here’s the deal. They’re sorry he has a terminal illness, but compassionate release can be revoked as soon as he aids and abets another crime. Carter says, fine; he’ll talk.

Nina takes out a note from the executor. It’s what Madeline left her. She lifts a jewelry box out. Inside is a note from her mom. In the envelope is a necklace, and a note that says, this will mend a broken heart. Nina says, this means something.

Sonny tells Jason that Mike is on his way to the hospital. Mike feels good and focused today. Jason wonders what happens if Julian gets the permit to renovate; if they find the body and gun. Sonny says they can find a contractor they can control, and put a person on the crew. Jason says he can inspect after hours. If anything turns up, he’ll make sure they’re the only ones who know.

Julian calls Kim, and leaves a message asking about Oscar, and telling her that he’s there if she needs him. Kristina tells Valerie that she and Parker broke up. They’re lives were going in opposite directions, and if she stayed, she’d be fading further into the background. She needed to find her own path. Valerie is all for it, especially if it keeps her there. She’s missed Kristina. Are you thinking what I’m thinking?

Sam asks Drew, what’s going on with Oscar? Drew says Oscar stayed the night at the hospital, and Drew stayed there until he was discharged. Sam asks if something serious is going on, and Drew tells her. Oscar has a brain tumor. It’s malignant and inoperable. She’s so sorry; Drew is too. She says Oscar must be so scared, and Drew says, that’s the thing, Oscar has no clue. He was already so sick when Kim found out, she chose to keep it from him. She doesn’t want him worrying about dying, and wants him to enjoy living, and being a regular teenager. Sam asks if he agrees.

Josslyn tells Oscar it will be their goal for this year. He says they’re setting goals now. He says they don’t know a lot about each other, and should start finding out. What is something Josslyn has wanted to do, but hasn’t? She says make out with her boyfriend in the woods. He thinks he can help her with that, and takes her hand.

Nina can’t believe her mom remembered. She holds up the necklace, a jade half-heart. Nina says Annie was her first Broadway show when she was little. She loved it. Maxie did too, and gets all excited. Nina says she was obsessed. She used to run around singing every song, then go to her mom’s bedroom and take out the necklace, pretending it was a locket like Annie’s. Maxie asks, where’s the other half?

Carter tells Curtis that he’d recognize Madeline anywhere. She was one of his clients. He was hired to find parents for a baby. It was unusual. Her daughter was in a coma, and gave birth to a baby girl. Madeline thought her son-in-law had something to do with her daughter’s condition. She kept the pregnancy under wraps, so he wouldn’t find out. When the time came, he arranged for the baby to be sent somewhere he couldn’t find her. Curtis asks who he ended up giving baby to.

Maxie tells Nina, way of making peace. Nina says, it’s kind of late, but Maxie says maybe she found it hard to ask forgiveness. Nina wonders what the significance is of the missing half.

Carter couldn’t tell Curtis who it was. Curtis says he must have records. Carter says if he did, they’re long gone. Keeping records in his business is a giant liability. He’s sorry he’s not more help. Jordan thanks him, and say they’re done there. Carter says, for what it’s worth (the phrase of the week), he wishes he could do more. The officers take him away. Jordan tells Curtis that she’s sorry it didn’t pan out the way he wanted it to. At least they know the child survived. Curtis says they know more than that.

Kristina asks Valerie what’s new, and Valerie says she’s taking a detective exam. Kristina says they have to celebrate, but Valerie says not until she passes. Kristina says she’ll miss seeing Valerie in her uniform. She rocks it.

Sonny tells Jason if they could control how the body is found, it would be a weight off his shoulders, and his dad’s. Jason asks if Mike has said any more, but Sonny doesn’t want to ask. Mike gets agitated and confused, and needs to stay calm. On a day like today, he seems like his old self, and it’s tempting to ask, but he doesn’t want to take the risk.

Mike looks in the window at Charlie’s. Inside, Kristina makes Valerie promise they’ll hang out after she slays the exam. Valerie says, deal, and tells Kristina, welcome home. She leaves, and Mike hides around a corner.

Drew tells Sam that he thinks Oscar has the right to know what he’s facing, but up until a year ago, Kim was raising him alone. Who is he to contradict, if she thinks letting him live his best life in the time he’s got is the best thing? Sam sees the point. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss. Once you know the truth, it’s hard to unknow. Drew says they’re just starting to get to know and understand each other. Oscar is starting to trust him as a father, and now he’s keeping a secret. Unless a miracle happens, he’s going to lose his son. Sam says, miracles happen every day. She’s seen them for herself, and hopes for a miracle for Oscar. She tells Drew to love him as best he can, and spend as much time as possible with him now.

As the come out of the woods, Josslyn tells Oscar, it was a worthwhile experience. They almost kiss, and Oscar’s phone dings. He says his mom is picking him up, and asks if she wants a ride. She says she needs to clean up, and he says he’ll help. His phone dings again, and he figures he’d better go before she freaks. He has an idea. Between now and their next anniversary, they should keep this up. She says, making out? and he says, that too, but doing stuff they’ve always wanted to do, but together. She says, like a bucket list for people with lots of time. She likes it.

Nina tells Maxie, hypothetically, maybe her mother felt something other than greed; maybe affection or guilt. She knew Nina loved the necklace, but dividing it in half might have meaning. In the musical, Annie thinks finding her parents will mend her broken heart. Maybe her mom meant it literally. Maybe she’s sending a message from the grave that Nina didn’t miscarry; that her child is alive somewhere.

Jordan asks Curtis, how is this not a dead end? Curtis says, she heard him. Madeline hired a private nurse, not to mention a doctor. Where there’s money, there’s a trail.

Sonny tells Jason that his dad overheard when he was talking to Carly. He was upset, but not disoriented. He knew what happened, and that if the body was uncovered, Sonny could be implicated. Jason says Mike seemed okay when he got there. Sonny says he told Mike that he has resources to handle it. Jason says, that’s true, but Sonny says, a lot could still go wrong.

Kristina congratulates Julian. She bets the renovation is going to keep him busy. He might need help. He says he’ll be busy managing the contractor, and won’t have time to do interviews. She can have a job on one condition – that she start now.

Mike sneaks downstairs in Charlie’s, and looks around with a flashlight. He sees some pipes, and takes out a wrench.

On Monday, Valentin says Madeline was telling the truth, Michael gets a letter from Nelle, And Mike tells Kristina that she’s not supposed to be there.

💀 I saw the first episode of The Purge (USA), and thought it was pretty good. Part of it focused on a group that was working on purge night, and I thought, that would be my luck. Stuck at the office. I liked the second and third movie (haven’t seen the fourth), but I wasn’t crazy about the first one. I think it’s a very scary concept, but that blond guy talked so much, I thought I could have killed him ten times while he was going on and on. This is a good choice for a series, since there’s a wealth of stories that can be pried out of it.

🏈 On September 24^th, Bravo will premiere it’s new show, Bravo Play by Play hosted by Jerry O’Connell. Originally, it was supposed to be called Real Men Watch Bravo, which I thought was brilliant, but since we’re living in a super-sensitive society now, it was changed. Enough already. They showed a snippet on Wednesday’s Watch What Happens Live, and it looked great. It’s not The People’s Couch (what happened to that?), but I’ll take it. Jerry was a guest that night, along with LuAnn (The Real Housewives of NYC), who wore the outfit she would have worn had she attended the reunion. It was fabulous and sparkly. Andy took a poll on the best NYC reunion outfit, and I was pleased that everyone agreed with me that it was Bethenny. I wouldn’t mind a dress-up box with all of the reunion outfits in it.
