Shahs of Sunset

Asa tells her parents that Israel was physically challenging. They sit down to a fabulous meal, and she says she missed her mother’s cooking. She whines that she felt alone, and like her friends weren’t looking out for her. In her interview, she says she felt like everyone turned their backs on her, but that’s not what we see from the clips. She admits that her brain is like an omelet.

Mike and Shervin are having a guy’s night out with some friends, and go to a club. Reza joins them. Mike says he had an epiphany in Israel, and thinks it’s time to go out and start meeting people. In his interview, Shervin says that Mike has a lot of guilt and shame about cheating on Jessica, and he should let it go. Reza watches how Shervin puts the moves on some women. Destiney shows up with a couple of friends. In his interview, Mike says that he and Destiney are like bros, even though she’s female.  Mike is flirting like crazy. Destiney says she loves him, but can’t believe some of the sh*t he says. She thinks he’s trying to deflect from his own hurt, and he’s saying the wrong things purposely. Mike says there’s nothing in the club he wants. He tells us about the qualities he would like in a woman, and we flash back to Jessica being all of those things.

Reza goes shopping for cabinet knobs with MJ. He thinks the knobs should lead them in the direction they want to go in, and that MJ is finally starting to move forward. He doesn’t want the condo renovation to scare her, so he’s starting with something small, but she’s already overwhelmed looking at all the knobs. She wonders why you can’t take a sample home to check it out. There are like, ten thousand knobs in this place. She finds a towel hook she likes, and Reza thinks of it as a huge victory. He has to leave, and tells the clerk not to let her back out of it.

Reza goes to a hookah restaurant where he’s meeting Mike, Shervin, and Tommy. They don’t serve alcohol, and I’m surprised he doesn’t leave immediately. MJ calls, and says he has to keep what she’s going to say between them. She tells him that Shervin has been sleeping with Tara, who’s married, and apparently she’s been booted out of the house. Reza says he’s meeting Shervin in a minute, and can’t believe she dropped this on him right now. Mike arrives, and she tells Reza not to say anything. Mike brings a bottle of liquor, and hides it under the chair. When Mike asks what’s up with MJ, Reza says he’s sworn to secrecy. Like that’s ever stopped anyone on this show.

Shervin comes in next, and Reza is saved by the waitress. Tommy follows. Mike says he had his reservations about Tommy at first, but when he saw how he took care of Shams like his own father, he loves him. Tommy asks about Annalise, and Shervin talks about how much he loves her and thinks there’s a potential future. She’s moving out to LA soon. In his interview, Reza says Shervin is a bad liar. Mike says it’s good to live together first, so you find out their neurotic habits, and mentions the proverbial toothpaste tube. I have never once had an issue with how someone deals with the toothpaste tube. I do, however, prefer toilet paper rolling down over the top.

GG goes shopping for Asa’s baby. She says being around all the baby stuff is giving her baby fever. She’s always wanted children, and would like a football team of babies. She hopes she can raise one to be better than she is. Shervin arrives at the store. He asks if she can find a gift for him to bring, but she says he’s on his own.

GG’s birthday is coming up, and she’s having an 80s themed party. Her doctor calls, and tells her after two cycles without her RA meds, she can try for getting pregnant. Shervin is worried, since he thinks they’re rushing things. She tells Shervin that MJ is suggesting he’s taking on some of Mike’s characteristics, and that he’s been hooking up with Tara. He swears there’s no truth to it. In her interview, she decides to believe him, but says if he’s lying, her foot will be so far up his ass, he’s going to be taller.

Reza and Adam go to a cat café, where the cats are all up for adoption. Reza says he’s obsessed with cats. They get coffee an Adam finds a tuxedo cat with a mustache like Reza’s. Adam brings up having a baby, and Reza says he thought they were just enjoying some lattes. Adam wants to see them moving forward with fertility tests, but Reza is still interested in adoption. He finally agrees to take the test.

Mike and business partner Eddie check out the new shoe samples. We flash back to how Kitson went bankrupt the last time Mike had a shoe line, and he wants to concentrate on baby shoes now. He thinks he’ll make more money than he would have with Kitson. Eddie asks how much more he’s willing to put in financially. Mike says it’s a gamble. He thinks it’s an amazing product, and has to have the courage to take risks. He talks about his grandfather leaving Iran, and getting involved with the Japanese stock market. He says in the not too distant future he’ll be patriarch of the family, and Eddie says that it’s time to put his money where his mouth is.

Shervin meets MJ for lunch. He tells her about shopping with GG, and how she’d repeated what MJ said about him. He says he’s disappointed and upset that she didn’t come to him first. In her interview, she says he invited her to lunch for damage control, and she’s going to practice her eyeroll. Shervin claims that he’s only seen Tara a few times, and even then, just with their mutual friends. He thinks Tara has serious problems. In her interview, MJ says that Tara has been talking about leaving her husband and moving in with Shervin, but he just wanted to be swervin’ Shervin. MJ pretends that yeah, Tara is crazy, and that she believes him.

MJ meets Tommy at a hotel room. He has flowers and a drink for her. She says she’s new at this ovulation thing, but thinks she’s ovulating. I guess this is an ovulation hook up. She says they don’t check into a five-star hotel every day, but this is important. I won’t tell you what he says. She wants her dad to see her baby, and says it’s like Nike, just do it. She tells herself it will be fine.

GG helps set up for her birthday celebration at a roller rink. She says most people feel old at 35 (really? I didn’t), but she has great plastic surgeons. Everyone arrives in 80s garb, mostly Madonna/aerobics instructor outfits. Destiney wants to introduce someone to Mike. He plays twenty questions, but she doesn’t want to give it all away. She says he needs a fine chick who’s classy and respectful, but not her. GG tells Asa that the baby factory can open in two months. Asa says that she and Shalom need to hurry it up then. Maybe she should speak with Shalom first?

In her interview, MJ says Asa is fake, and the relationship is so painful, she wants it to be done. Asa thinks the level of toxicity from MJ has gotten so high, she doesn’t want to be around her. Everyone roller skates better than I do. Which isn’t too difficult. Tara arrives. GG says Shervin finally admitted to sleeping with her. At the end of the conversation, she agreed not to say anything to anyone. Shervin shows up in a crazy wig. Tara doesn’t want to talk to him.

Omg, fifteen minutes to Game of Thrones. I’m afraid to watch. I’m still worn out from last week.

Tara decides to leave, and sneaks out the back. GG wants them to talk, and tells her to stick with the truth. GG says it’s not a comfortable position to be in, and doesn’t want either one of them to get hurt. Tara tells Reza that she was stupid, and told a couple of friends. She says that she was protecting him, and everyone agrees that’s not happening anymore. Shervin approaches, and Reza asks why he’s not keeping it real. In her interview, MJ says that Shervin has a fetish for being secretive, and likes sneaking around. Shervin calls Tara sick and crazy. What a creep! Adam explains the drama to Destiney. Mike, and Asa. Destiney doesn’t believe it.

Tara tells Shervin not to screw with her life, and he calls her delusional. It’s like when Eddie denied sleeping with Rocky on Below Deck, except Rocky is also legitimately crazy. Mike is keeping quiet unless asked for his opinion. Wise choice. He says he’s not finger-pointing, but eventually the truth comes out. Shervin says he can have whoever he wants, and insults Tara, saying why would he want her. I don’t have enough bad things to say about this dude at this moment. He tells Tara to give her speech to the Academy. We see him in his interview, denying everything, like we did Mike before his divorce. Reza asks GG if Shervin admitted it to her. In her interview, GG tells us that he slept with Tara before Annalisa came back the last time, and hopes he washed the sheets, since he cut it close. She tells Reza that Shervin admitted it, and Reza relays this to Shervin. Tara says she liked him, but now she sees the real person. MJ thinks Tara thought he would drop Annalise, and she fell for this dog. GG tells Shervin that he’ll be respected for telling the truth, and tells him about Mike. She says she can’t force him, but he says if it will make her feel better, he’ll admit to something he didn’t do. Please. Don’t embarrass yourself any further.

Reza says that he cheated on a partner of seven years, and lost him. Shervin says if it makes everyone feel better, he did it. Reza doesn’t miss a beat, and says to learn from his experience. Shervin says the truth isn’t working. GG asks if he didn’t tell her it happened, and he changes what he told her. Because everyone always forgets that they are being filmed, and we know what they said. Now he claims that they only had drinks. He says that Tara isn’t even his type. They all call him a liar. In his interview, Reza says he speaks frankly because he was like Mike and Shervin, and now he’s a self-confessed, reformed ho. He says that being honest made Mike more lovable. Tara says Shervin should own up to it, and Shervin acts stupid.

Next time, a photo shoot with babies and shoes, GG fails a hearing test miserably, and Reza thinks that Asa got pregnant in vitro.

Game that Throne

I’m was afraid to watch Game of Thrones after last week, but no way was I going to miss thefinale. I notice that there are house banner icons next to the names in the credits. Were those always there? Are the Starks online?

Cersei has her own plans for the summit, basically to kill everyone if anything goes wrong. Traitor turncoat Bron escorts everyone in. It was like old home week for Podrick and Tyrion. There were lots of furtive glances between the various characters. Dany was late, and came swooping in on Drogon. I was hoping they’d just dracarys Cersei, and be done with it, but no. Euron interrupted, wanting Theon to submit to get his sister back. Tyrion was like, that’s not what we came here for, and Cersei told Euron to sit down and shut up.

Cersei didn’t believe them about the White Walkers, even though somebody just flew down on a dragon, so, they whipped out their pet zombie. I was hoping it would eat Euron’s face off, but that didn’t happen. The Hound cut it in half, and both halves crawled around, while he cut more pieces off. Cersei actually looked sick, which was somewhat satisfying. Jon explained they can be killed by fire or dragonglass, and this was the only war that mattered. We find out the zombies can’t swim, and Euron decided to take his boats and leave. He said this was the only thing that’s ever terrified him, and he’s seen a lot of scary stuff. Cersei had a freaking moment of clarity, and accepted the truce, but on the proviso that Jon stayed in the North, and didn’t bug her anymore when it’s over. Dany wondered why she didn’t ask her, but Cersei said she knew Jon would be truthful. Jon said he couldn’t serve two queens, so thanks, but no thanks. Cersei was like, screw you then, they’ll get to you first, and then we’ll deal with what’s left of you. Brienne tried to talk sense into Jaime. Dany told Jon that she didn’t want one of her dragons to have died for nothing, and Tyron asked if he’d ever considered learning to lie just a bit. Jon said that when people make false promises it gets easier to make more lies, and pretty soon, you can’t believe anything. Tyron volunteered to talk to Cersei, and I started thinking, wait a minute, they should be able to fight these guys without Cersei. For God’s sake, Dany sits on a mountain of dragonglass and has two fire breathing dragons. This made me mourn Viserion all over again.

Tyrion goaded Cersei to kill him, but she didn’t, so he helped himself to some wine. And more wine. I note that if Cersei doesn’t stop pursing her lips the way she does, she’s going to start looking old before her time. Apparently, she’s not too old yet, because she’s going to have a baby. Elsewhere, Jon told Dany what we’ve all been thinking, that maybe the witch who told Dany she couldn’t have children was wrong.

Cersei came back out and said that when the Great War was over, she hoped they’d remember that she chose to help without any assurances or promises from them.

Sansa got all pissed about no communication from John. Littlefinger was no help, stirring the pot, saying Jon and Dany would make an alliance. When Sansa showed concern about Arya, Littlefinger tried to steer her in the direction of fear, telling her to imagine the worst thing Arya could do and the worst reason for doing it. He led her into thinking that Arya was after her position, which seemed nonsensical. Another stupid award for Sansa?

I wondered why Theon was even there when they had a strategy meeting. Theon said he risked everything to tell an enemy the truth. Jon thought it was best to be honest if they were going to fight together. Theon said that Jon was even a goody-goody back when they were kids. Jon said his dad was in Theon too, and he forgave him for being the worst person ever. Theon decided to grow a pair, and try to save Yara, like she did him.

On the beach, Euron started to go out to the boats, and I actually said out loud, ugh, this guy. He told his men that they were going to find a nice island, kill the men, and take the women, but Theon had other plans. Euron ended up fighting with him, which was probably a bad idea, since he has a lot of pent up anger and resentment. He kept kicking Theon in the cajones, which did nothing except make me laugh and puzzle Euron. Then Theon proceeded to beat the ever-living snot out of him. I liked how none of the other men got involved, and when Theon was the winner, they were like, all right! we’re with you!

Littlefinger smirked when Sansa had Arya brought to the great hall, and I wanted to wipe it off his face. Sansa said something about honor, and how stands the accused of murder and treason? – Littlefinger. Oh man, as boring as she is, this was great. Not so stupid after all, Sansa brought us back to him pushing Lysa through the moon door, among other things he’s had his little finger in. He denied everything, but Bran brought up how he’d tried to have Bran killed. Sansa played the worst game with him, saying he’s best at turning families against one another. Sansa thanked him for his many lessons, and Arya slit his throat. Alrighty then.

Omg, Cersei’s coat was the best. So so 70s and so couture and so amazing. Cersei told Jaime she wanted to pull out of the deal, and just cozy up with him. She realized there was a missing dragon, concluding that dragons must have a vulnerability, and thought they should just stay put. Jaime was like, there will still be a war, and whoever wins is going to kill us. She didn’t believe that Euron was running, but that he was going to bring the bank to them, like any of that means anything at this point, and anyway, by now he was dead. Jaime said he’d pledged to ride north, and was doing it, but Cersei said it was treason. The Mountain stopped him from leaving, and she said no one walks away from her. Jaime told her that he’s the only one she has left, and was like, go ahead and kill me. We had a moment when she nodded, and the Mountain made like he was removing his sword from its sheath, but Jaime just walked out. I guess Cersei told the Mountain to just scare him. Or maybe it wasn’t a full nod.

Sam and Gilly got to Winterfell. Bran told Sam that’s he’s the Three-Eyed Raven now, and explained how it works. Bran said that Jon needs to know the truth about himself. He’s the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Sam told Bran about what he’d read, and said that they were married in a secret ceremony. Bran saw the ceremony in this three-eyed head.

Jon knocked on Dany’s door, and I guess they’ll be replacing Cersei and Jaime as the power couple related to each other. Maybe they’ll have a baby dragon to replace Viserion. As they were getting busy, back at Winterfell, Bran said that Jon has never been a bastard. His name is Aegon Targaryen, and he’s heir to the Iron Throne.

Sansa and Arya said blah-blah-blah about surviving and missing their dad.

Bran went into a trance, and became a raven, or whatever he does, and went to the Wall. Beric and Tormund were looking out from the tower, and saw riders coming out of the woods. The army of the dead; loads of them, and that disturbing second-in-command on his horse. Someone from Castle Black blew a shofar, but it didn’t matter. Here came the spiky-headed Night King, riding zombie Viserion, who now blows ice instead of fire. He’s all spooky and tattered-looking now too. He sliced right through the wall, horizontally, as they flew next to it. It was crazy – everything falling and breaking apart, people running everywhere, and the Wall starting to come down like falling dominoes. The Night King on undead Viserion entered through the now-open Wall, along with his billion-man army, and one giant. My heart was pounding like crazy.

I am left with two thoughts – this is not good, and who’s going to clean up this mess?

I am sincerely hoping that the next book comes out to tide us over until the next season, which is God only knows when in 2018.

General Hospital

Nina is on the phone regarding a photo shoot in Morocco. Valentin says he has something to cheer her up, but a – and I miss the rest of the beginning because one of my dogs creates chaos. At least it wasn’t just when someone was revealing something I’ve been waiting years to know.

Anna goes to Hayden’s office looking for her, but Finn tells her that Hayden isn’t there. She says she’ll wait with him, and shows him the diamond. Not very spy-like to be flashing it around the way she’s doing.

Valentin brings Charlotte to see Nina at her office. Charlotte is wearing her dance costume. They’re on their way to her recital, and Valentin says that Nina is one of the reasons Charlotte took dance. Charlotte asks how long Nina studied. Nina tells her that she wanted to be a ballerina, but she got too tall when she was a teenager, and decided to concentrate on writing instead. Charlotte says she wants to be tall so she can be like Nina, even if it means not dancing. Nina tells her that even if she ends up being six feet three inches tall, she can dance. She can do whatever is in her heart, and Nina and her papa will support her. Charlotte asks, even if they’re not married anymore?

Alexis asks Julian what happened that the trial was delayed, and he tells her they were giving Winston enough time to learn his lines. She asks how that went, and he says Winston made it sound like he and Olivia-J were in a mutual crime spree. Alexis asks if the judge believed it, and Julian says Winston played his part perfectly, and it looked like he was her partner instead of an unwilling accomplice. She asks how Scotty responded, and if he cross-examined. Julian says he reserved the right to recall the witness, and thinks there’s no point in even mounting a defense.

Carly tells Jason and Sonny that the irony is, she’d always thought Sam wouldn’t understand the bond of loyalty they had, coming in late to the family. Yet she was the first one who did, and the two of them treated her like they treat the cops. She says Sonny came close to talking, but kept changing the subject. She knew he was hiding something, but never thought Jason would lie to her. Jason says he was focused on Sam, and didn’t want to get her involved. She says they’d always trusted each other, and wonders when that changed.

Nina tells Charlotte it’s complicated. Charlotte wants it to go back to the way it was, and Nina asks if she’s sure, since she likes living with Lulu and her family. Charlotte says she does, but she likes living with Nina and her papa too. Valentin tells her that grown-ups have a way of making things complicated. When he had to go away, everyone made arrangements. She went to live with Lulu, and he and Nina got a divorce. She asks if they don’t love each other anymore.

Lucy walks in on Finn and Anna. She apologizes for bothering them, but wants to know what to do about the house. She tells Finn she’ll understand if he wants to back out of the deal, and he asks why he would. She says for one, Hayden left, and it doesn’t look like she’s coming back.

Scotty tells Alexis he has plenty of witnesses, Leo’s mother for one. Julian says Olivia-Q only knows what he told her, and didn’t actually witness anything. Scotty says what about Lucas; he would know how Julian sacrificed for his family. Julian tells Scotty that Lucas is furious with him (if he’s even still on the show). Scotty suggests Sam, but Alexis says even if she was well enough to testify, she would be considered a hostile witness, and the counter cross-examination will negate any points they make. Julian has hurt them all.

Carly says she can almost excuse Sonny. He was shot, spent 24-hours in a hole, and then was drugged up in the hospital where anyone could have overheard. However, he could have said something once he came home. Sonny says it wasn’t his secret to tell, and Carly says that doesn’t fly, since Sam wanted to talk to her. She says that Jason is the one person she’d always trusted. She thought he trusted her too, and wonders why he shut her out. Jason says that things are different now; they’re different now. They know what they stand to lose.

Finn tells Lucy that there’s no reason to believe Hayden isn’t coming back, and we both look at him like he’s delusional. Lucy says she packed up, disappeared, and left her engagement ring. It doesn’t sound like she even wants to be found. Finn says he’ll find her, and when he does, they’ll move in and he’ll tear up the tennis court with his bare hands. Lucy says she’ll see him at the closing then, and leaves. Anna tells Finn she’s sorry. She didn’t know what was going on. Finn says they have a lot to work through, but they will. He just needs to find her first.

Valentin tells Charlotte that he loves Nina more now than when they were first married because he’s gotten to know her. He’s seen her courage and kindness. It’s made his love grow stronger, but marriage isn’t only about love. Charlotte says it is, and sites some fairytales. Valentin explains that fairytales don’t have community property and liens. Ha-ha! He says that when you get married, you become one person, and when he had to go away, they divorced so that there would be an equal division and his problems didn’t become Nina’s problems. Charlotte says they should just get married again, and forget about the legal problems. Nina says she should have listened to Charlotte first, but she was uncertain, and let everyone else convince her of something she didn’t believe, and she didn’t listen to her heart. Charlotte asks what her heart is telling her. Valentin says they have to go, and Charlotte invites Nina to come with them. Nina says she will.

Scotty tells Alexis she’s doing a lot of backseat litigating. Julian asks to be reminded of why they wanted a bench trial. Alexis tells him that a jury will go by emotion, but a judge has to go by the law and base a decision on reasonable doubt. She says that Olivia-Q and Ned would be thrilled to see Julian put away, because then they could have custody of Leo. She tells him that any good testimony would be outweighed by the prosecution. Scotty asks if there are any ideas, and Julian says to put him on the stand.

Jason tells Carly that he was gone for two years. When he remembered his life, he had to find a different way to live, and asks if she didn’t do the same. She asks what that has to do with him lying, and Sonny says they have different priorities now. What used to work, doesn’t anymore. Jason says he couldn’t ask her to be part of a cover-up when that’s not the life she wants to live. Carly gets it, but it makes her sad. She always knew they were there for each other, but that changed too. Jason says he didn’t mean to hurt her. She tells him that she just needs time to adjust. Sam says it’s her fault, and Carly says no one blames her. She wasn’t in her right mind; the rest of them don’t have an excuse. She thinks it was the wrong call, but she’ll get over it. Sonny makes sure that they’re all in agreement to say nothing. Jason wants to get Sam home to the kids. After they leave, Sonny asks Carly if she’s all right, and she says no.

Carly asks how Sonny would feel, and he says he’d hate it. She asks why he didn’t tell her when they got home. He says he thought she’d doubt him, and he made a mistake; he’s not perfect. She says he’s the most arrogant man she knows, and the only time he’s humble is when he wants her forgiveness. He asks if it’s working, and she says no. He says he should have said something, and she admits it’s not completely his fault, but Jason saying nothing surprised her.

Jason tells Sam that they’ll find a way to get past it. Sam doesn’t know how it happened, and doesn’t know why she didn’t ask for help. Why didn’t she trust him?

Scotty says the DA will chew Julian up and spit him out. Alexis says she’s not a fan of putting defendants on the stand, but in this case, Julian should tell his story. She has faith that he’ll do it justice.

Since we’re having a speed trial, Julian is already on the stand and talking. He tells the court about how he was forced to kill Alexis, and staged it at the docks, but had every intention of letting her go. He was going to leave the country, but Sonny ruined the plan. Then his sister stepped up her threats to involve his children, putting Leo in the hospital to prove her point. He kidnapped Sam when she was about to give birth, and then he witnessed Alexis getting handcuffed to the bridge where he was supposed to kill her. Because apparently, Olivia-J learned nothing from the first time.

Anna tells Finn that she’s sorry. He asks how she found the diamond, and she explains about it being imbedded in a keepsake given to Emma by spencer. Finn says he must have found at it at Wyndemere, and Anna says that’s what Elizabeth thought. She had it examined, but was told it isn’t part of the Berlin necklace. It was stolen by a ring of jewel thieves in Eastern Europe, where the money was used to finance larger crimes. Finn says that sounds more like it’s up Nikolas’s alley. Anna says he’s done his share of shady deals, but it’s not like she can ask him. She can question Hayden though. Finn says he doesn’t know where she is, but he’s going to find her. Anna says that it doesn’t sound like she wants to be found.

Prosecutor Will Smith says that Julian’s testimony is pure spectacle meant to manipulate the judge. Scotty objects, but it’s overruled. Will asks Julian what ultimately happened, and Julian says he shot the handcuffs off of Alexis, and blocked Olivia-J from shooting her. He got shot instead, and fell into the river. When he came to, he realized what had happened, and that Olivia had been locked up. He tried to leave town; not to avoid justice, but to put distance between himself and his family. He’d rather never see them again than see them in danger. Will mentions that he shot his sister and thought she was dead. He asks if when she returned, it had something to do with Duke Lavery. Julian tells him that she was in love with Duke, and Will says that Julian killed him. Scotty jumps up, saying that Carrrlos murdered Duke, but Will says it was by Julian’s orders. He says Julian never told the authorities that she killed Morgan, kidnapped Robin, and almost blew up the hospital with everyone in it. He did nothing to stop her, and everything to help her. There are no further questions. In redirect, Scotty asks if it isn’t true that Julian did his sister’s bidding because she was threatening him. Julian says yes, he was trying to protect his children and the woman he loves, and his devotion obscured his reason. He understands that his actions will be judged as wrong, and he might be put in prison, but if that’s what had to happen in order to protect his family, he’s okay with it. The defense rests.

Finn asks Anna if she thinks Hayden is gone for good. She says she doesn’t know enough to speculate, so she’s going to concentrate on the diamond case. Finn thinks Hayden’s father might be able to help, and suggests that Anna pay him a visit. He asks her not to tell him that Hayden vanished, and Anna says she won’t. She asks Finn not to tell anyone about the diamond, and he says he has no one to talk to anyway, and doubts anyone he knows has ties to an international jewelry theft.

Back from the recital, Nina tells Valentin that Charlotte was the best dancer. He asks if she’s sure she’s not biased, and she says of course she is, but Charlotte is still incredible. She can do anything she’s made up her mind to do. He asks if she can bring them back together.

In his closing argument, Will Smith says that Julian aided and abetted a fugitive who terrorized the community, and killed Morgan. He was in agreement with his sister, and supported her goals. He cares about his family, but it’s his organized crime family. Scotty responds that Julian almost died, and was willing to sacrifice his life for his family. If he’s guilty of anything, it’s loving his family too much, and that’s not a crime. The judge retires to her chambers, and the court is in recess. Alexis tells Julian that she’s sorry for what he’s gone through. He says thanks, and that he did what he had to do.

Carly tells Sonny that after his accident, Jason was different. Intellectually, she knows it, but emotionally, she has to learn it over and over. Sonny says he does too. He wanted to bring Jason into the distillery project, thinking they could work together on something legitimate, but Jason turned him down. He said it would send the wrong message, and imply it’s a front and that he’s still in the business. Sonny says it kind of hurt his feelings. Carly says she gets that his life is different now, and understands, but just when things are spiraling, and she’s feeling lost, that’s when she misses who he used to be.

Sam wonders why she didn’t remember that she could talk to Jason about anything. She’d believed their connection was so strong, they could overcome anything and anyone, but this time it failed her. She doesn’t understand why.

Anna tells Finn that Hayden’s father is only taking visits from his attorney and family members. Finn asks if she can pull rank, but she says that’s no good if he refuses to cooperate. She thinks he might be receptive to Finn, but Finn says he told her what he could. She asks what if there’s a connection between Hayden and the diamond? He thinks she’s reaching, but she says there’s only one way to find out. Take her to visit Raymond Berlin.

Julian asks Alexis what his chances are of getting released, and she says he has a chance. He says what about them getting back together, and Scotty interrupts. In what they call half an hour, and I call half a minute, the judge has reached a verdict.

Carly tells Sonny that by fixating on what she can’t have, she’s missing her blessings. Jason is still there and their friend, Sam pulled through a serious illness, and Sonny is better. She can obsess about the lie, or focus on Sonny being alive and that she loves him. He suggests she concentrate on the second one. She’s not asking that he never keep a secret again, but tells him that there’s a difference between family and business. She tells him to never keep a family secret from her again.

Jason tells Sam that nothing she did while she was sick was her fault, and she wanted to be honest. Sam wonders if the connection they shared is lost because of her. He says that’s not going to happen. She tells him that she trusts him, but not herself.

Valentin doesn’t want to build up Charlotte’s hopes that they can be a family again. He doesn’t want to pressure Nina, but she tells him that she’s made her decision. Her phone buzzes. There’s a crisis at a photo shoot she has to deal with. He says with all due respect to her photo shoot, he’s hanging on her answer. She says she’ll give it to him over dinner, where she’ll give her answer undivided attention.

Tomorrow, Nina gives Valentin her answer, the verdict is read, and Michael tells Ned he’ll have a fight on his hands.

💍 My 90 Day Fiancé obsession continues, Before the 90 Days now added to it. This one is the most perplexing of all three shows, where we follow the cast members meeting their prospective spouses face-to-face for the first time, and I want to yell, stop this right now! about every five minutes. There’s Sean and Abby, who have a huge age gap. Nothing wrong with that, but it looks like the older Sean is bringing some insecurities along with it. Sean traveled to Haiti, where Abby was excitedly waiting, along with her best friend, who kept having to calm her down. It was super cute, as Hello Kitty would say. Abby is the sweetest girl, and I think genuinely attracted to Sean, as she has a thing for older men. While I don’t blame Sean for proceeding with caution, he’s fixated on her ex, Chris, whom she’s still friends with. In the previous episode, Sean made noises about Abby maybe wanting someone younger, but Chris looks like he’s about the same age as Sean, so either he’s not aging well and is a 20 year old who looks 50, or Sean is not making sense. Which is possible. Even though Abby and Chris don’t live in the same country, Sean is concerned that they’re still involved as more than friends. It didn’t help the situation when Abby slipped during an interview, calling Sean “Chris.” Sean wasn’t present during the interview, but no doubt saw it. While it’s possible the slip could have been Freudian, I find it unlikely. I think her head is just so full of all this stuff, she made an honest mistake. I can relate, since after nearly twenty years, I still have a hard time not calling my niece’s second husband by her first husband’s name. I have the feeling Sean won’t see it that way, and is going to totally mess up what could be a great thing. The preview for next week did not look promising.

Then there’s Paul – who we last saw waiting on the backside of nowhere in the Amazon rainforest for Karine, thinking he’d been catfished. It’s no surprise he’s been unlucky in love, since he made a trip to a place where he knows no one, that took eight hours, two planes, and two boats to get to; doesn’t know the language at all; carried so many trunks full of preventative health measures, he can barely get around; and can’t even get phone service. Luckily for him, she finally showed. Because she basically lives in a shack, reservations were made at the local hotel (I’m surprised they have one), and they prepared for him to meet her family, none of whom speak English. Up until now, Paul and Karine have communicated through translated texts. When they met, it was more than awkward, but I wondered why, if texts can be translated, they didn’t have something that digitally translated their speech, like the device in Snowpiercer. We must have the capability. I also questioned how Karine has such nice clothing, the internet, and a smartphone. In the preview for the next show, Paul talks about wanting her to get an STD and pregnancy test. While I totally get it, it’s kind of insulting that he can’t be bothered to learn, how are you? in Portuguese, yet he’s savvy enough to be concerned about getting a disease from her. Bleh.

The next huge age gap is between Darcey from the US and Jesse from Amsterdam, with Darcy being in the more mature position. However, that’s only chronologically. Jesse actually seems like a real find. A guy who’s genuinely interested in having a serious relationship with an older woman, and he’s a gorgeous fitness trainer. And also Amsterdam, a place so fine, Tony Geary retired from General Hospital to live there. Darcy looks great, and is definitely on Jesse’s appearance level, but I see why she’s single. Without mincing words, she acts batsh*t crazy emotional. She’s so concerned with how she looks and getting married, she can’t seem to focus on anything else. Like maybe a dream vacation with a fabulous guy. While there was a bit of a red flag on his end, when he insisted she keep up with him on a wicked bike ride through a park, if I was him, I’d be biking for the hills. Already frazzled from damaging one of her six-inch heels on the escalator, Darcy was barely off the plane before she started talking about marriage. And talked about it non-stop. No matter where they went, she somehow related it to them getting married. They just met for God’s sake. Has no one told her this shouldn’t be the first topic out of your mouth on what’s essentially a first date? I assume she’s been married before, since she has children (I know it’s not a requirement, but I think it would be for her), but obviously that didn’t work out, and I can guess why. She drains me just watching her. The creepiest thing was how she showed Jesse the massive rock she had bought for herself, to wear on her left ring finger in honor of their love. Um… I don’t think that’s how any of this works. When he asked her to take the vast amount of makeup she wears off before bed (she’s staying with him), I thought she would have a heart attack. Even then, she kept her lashes on. He doesn’t seem like the type of guy who is into any of that, and I’m wondering how they even clicked online. Frankly, I would have packed her into one of her many suitcases and sent her back home already. Next time, she meets his parents. And brings up marriage. His father asks her – and I quote – are you out of your f-ing mind?

There was also Cortney, who is headed for Spain to meet Spanish model Antonio, who she’s only communicated with by text – even when she was previously in Spain. She’s also been catfished before. Right away, I didn’t hold out much hope for this one, and held even less when her cyberstalking friend came up with erotic photos of him. I doubt much is going to happen with these two, and it seems like a boring story just added to fill the hour.

My main question though, is what’s with all this baby babe stuff? Can no one remember their potential fiancé’s name?

😜 On Flipping Out, Jeff brought in a guy to teach everyone baby CPR. Apparently Jeff was a little too enthusiastic, as his baby’s head fell off while he practiced. When he asked the instructor what grade he’d give them, let’s not talk about it was the response. Enough said. Jeff’s got first aid covered.

Shahs of Sunset

Meanwhile at the Western Wall, GG isn’t feeling comfortable. Shervin seems to think the Wall is for Jews only, and GG says someone said “jihad” to her, which sounds pretty stupid. It makes her think of how people in the past have said Jews and Muslims shouldn’t mix. In his interview, Mike says that GG and Shervin feel a disconnect, and he felt the same way in Turkey. He says all religions seek enlightenment, but he can’t tell them how to feel, and the Wall will stand strong for them if they should decide to come back.

MJ feels that she doesn’t have the right to ask for anything for herself. She starts to cry during her interview, thinking of praying for children in need. Reza asks if she felt a connection, and says he’s tingling. Asa says the baby was kicking against the Wall. Destiney says it drowns you in a sense of release, and can’t believe how free she feels, especially being a Muslim. GG suggests they move on.

Shopping! The Jerusalem market place is bustling. Reza says he’s shopping where Jesus shopped, and talks about how crosses and menorahs are side-by-side. It’s doubtful that the wares in Jesus’s day sported slogans like Shalom, Ya’ll though. GG says she misses her boyfriend Shalom, because she hears his name everywhere. Ha-ha! GG tells Reza that she has marriage and kids on her mind. Her only reservation is the religion thing. In his interview, Reza says her brain is like a pinball. She asks him if it’s hard being half Muslim and half Jewish. He says it’s insane. Growing up gay as well, he felt like he didn’t fit in. GG says he has anger toward Muslims because of what he went through, and she doesn’t want that for her children.

The Holy Sepulcher is next. Mike marvels about being at the holiest Jewish site in the world, and then the holiest Christian site. He’s on a crazy spiritual high. He’s been in darkness, and now the light is so bright it hurts his eyes. He says that no matter who you are, the key is to find light. If people think you can’t get along with others of different faiths, they should watch this show. Stupid as it is, the Shahs are a wonderful example of getting along. Even when they don’t, it’s never about the differences in their faiths.

Omg, MJ has her makeup laid out like a buffet in her room. A tattoo artist is coming to the hotel lounge to ink GG. Asa asks GG why the others are against it. GG says that she has a lot of tattoos, but none is of a man’s name, and she wants to brand herself with Shalom’s name in Hebrew. Destiney joins them. She says she’s down with tatts on a dude, but thank God for laser removal.

MJ, Reza, Shervin and Mike (sounds like a law firm or folk band) go out to do some drinking. Mike thinks GG is cuckoo. In his interview, Reza says she’s hesitant to come to Israel, but wants Shalom tattooed on her torso. He wonders how she reconciles things in that special head, and I laugh.

GG makes a lot of uncomfortable sounds during the procedure, but the tattoo looks good.

MJ says it’s her last hurrah. She’s getting pregnant when she gets home. Reza says it’s the last hurrah every time she has a drink, and we flash back to three last hurrahs. Reza thinks that MJ getting pregnant in a month timeframe isn’t realistic. He suggests planning a wedding, but MJ wants to get pregnant first. Reza is like, wait a second, because she’s saying Asa should get married. MJ says she’s not having a bastard child, but Asa will. (I can’t believe anyone even uses that term anymore.) She says as soon as the test is positive, they’ll do everything. If not, she’s not marrying Tommy, because he smokes around the dogs and eats hard candy at night. And likes the Mets. Reza says there will always be issues, but she has to keep moving forward in spite of what’s happening. They move on to a club that reminds me of the old Danceteria.

GG and Asa are sleeping when the partiers get to the hotel lounge. Shervin finds a hair extension hanging from a lampshade, and we both go, eww. MJ gets GG’s room key, and Reza says that they’re going in Israeli defense style. They wake her up, and want to see the tattoo. She’s surprisingly compliant. They want to be there when she tells Shalom, and she decides to Facetime with him. She shows him the tattoo, and he says omfg that’s real. Reza tells him to go buy a ring.

We’re on to the Dead Sea, beers being cracked the whole way there. Reza says people from all over the world come there to get healed. Asa asks Mike and Reza how last night was. Reza says they called MJ out, and tells Asa about the bastard child comment. Asa isn’t cool with that. They go to a restaurant and eat outside. In her interview, Asa says calling her baby a bastard child is f-ed up. Asa says that MJ is always taking jabs at her, and to use that word, no matter who you’re referring to, is ugly. MJ says that she was talking about herself. MJ says several of the friends asked about Asa getting married, and she avoided the question. She’s never met a pregnant woman so secretive, and every question is an attack. Mike says MJ is upset because Asa isn’t open and honest. Asa says she’s open about her age and weight, whereas MJ isn’t. Mike disagrees, saying that MJ is an open book, and everyone judges her. GG says weight isn’t a topic that’s very deep, and Reza says it’s awkward for him, since he’s friends with them both. GG wonders why be friends, if she doesn’t want to be open?. Asa says she doesn’t want to talk about certain things. Shervin asks if she took hormones to get pregnant, and Asa says she froze eggs years ago. MJ is shocked, wondering why she never said anything, and Asa says she doesn’t trust her. MJ says that Asa lied to her, and Asa says they froze 8 male embryos, but didn’t use them. They just started trying, and she’s shocked at how fast it happened. In his interview, Mike thinks it’s odd that she had a natural pregnancy that quickly at age 40. He’s not buying it.

Mike thinks if they can’t be open and honest, they shouldn’t be friends GG says they didn’t just come on the trip to unite Muslims and Jews, but each other. MJ wonders why Asa asked a million questions about her fertility process, but kept her own to herself. They go down to the sea. GG duct tapes her tattoo, so she can get in the water with the others. Asa stays in a chair on the beach. She feels emotionally poisoned, and doesn’t want to share, since she’s not feeling the love. Reza says that the Dead Sea is ten times saltier that any ocean, and everything floats immediately. It’s funny to watch how quickly people rise to the top. GG is grateful, saying everything is good right now. She gets salt water on the tattoo, and then it’s not so good. When they get back, Mike says that he has salt in all of his crevices.

Asa gets her neck massaged while she talks to Destiney. She’s not happy about some of the conversations. Tommy Facetimes MJ. She asks about her father, who is holding on, and he shows her one of the dogs. She says it’s not easy being so far away from her dad. They’ve been thick as thieves since she came out of the womb. Tommy puts Shams on, and says his grip is starting to feel strong. She says hello to him, and Tommy tells her not to cry; he’s good. After she hangs up, she gets a billion tissues and goes inside the shower cubicle. Mike asks if she wants a drink; he’s worried about her. Mike says his own father had told him that when he saw that Mike was okay, he’d be okay. He thinks Shams is holding on because he wants to see her happy. He tells her that Tommy is a good dude, and not to let her father’s illness to stop her from living her life. He says that Shams has lived a good life, and he should see her get married. MJ says that she has to make sure she propels herself forward and gets what Mike is saying.

The group strolls around the city, which is beautiful. They go to a restaurant where they have a private room. Reza says that the owners are a couple who decided to turn their home into a restaurant, and the food is off the chain. He tells us that Jews and Muslims don’t agree on much, but they agree on the food. It’s simple and delicious, and he’d like to go swimming in the hummus. MJ starts to make a toast, and Mike says what a great guy Tommy is, and tells her to step up or step out. He thinks she’ll lose him if she doesn’t marry him. MJ says she doesn’t mean to be unappreciative, but she has to be an activist for her father’s care. In her interview, Asa wonders if crying is MJ’s default mode for avoiding an issue. MJ says she’s dealing with a lot, but does it with pleasure. In his interview, Mike says Asa doesn’t look like she gives a flying. Mike says it’s amazing how they’re fighting for each other to achieve their goals, and be open and honest. They toast to the future.

Asa has an announcement. She found out the sex of the baby. She was waiting until the end of the trip, but now she feels alone and uncomfortable. Mike thinks she’s being insulting. Asa says there’s nothing she has to hide, and she’s not a liar. They’re welcoming a son. Reza says he called it. In her interview, MJ says that Asa got pregnant by a miracle, but happened to freeze male embryos and it’s a boy. She calls Asa a fraud. GG says she knew there was a penis in there somewhere. Mike asks about a name, but it hasn’t been decided.

Reza makes a toast, thanking everyone for sharing this journey. He grew up respecting and loving that side of his family, and talks about being with Mike’s family. He tells them about his grandmother having five sisters, and how he didn’t have that, but he gets it through them. Shervin says what Reza has gone through has made him who he is. He thanks Reza for helping them get over their fear. In his interview, Shervin he says he was scared because he looks Palestinian, but everyone was welcoming. Mike says he has gratitude for them overlooking their fears. It’s strengthened their roots. Now a massive tree can grow, and Israel has caused that to happen.

Next time, MJ thinks today might be the day, GG tells Shervin that MJ is criticizing him, and Reza calls out Shervin.

Beyond the Wall

I’ll tell you what’s beyond the Wall. Zombies. Lots of them. As Jon and his band of merry men found out on Game of Thrones tonight while on their field trip.

At Winterfell, Arya accused Sansa of having a hand in their father’s death, and showed her the note she’s swiped from Littlefinger. Sansa said she was forced to it, and was just a child. Arya told her she was a child too, but would have died first. Sansa told her that they got Winterfell back because of her, and yada-yada-yada about how much she’s suffered. She told Arya that sometimes anger makes people do unfortunate things, and Arya said fear does too, but she’ll stick with anger. I relate.

We found out that The Hound hates gingers, and I wondered wonder what Andy Cohen would have to say about that. Tormund learned what the word d*ck means, and professed his love for Brienne, and his desire to make monster babies with her. The Hound said she’d want to carve him up and eat his liver, and Tormund was like, oh, you know her. Beric told Jon that the trip wasn’t going to be any fun, like he didn’t know this already, but they’d accomplish a lot.

Dany told Tyrion he’s no hero, but she likes it that way. She knows he’s brave though, since she would never choose a coward as her Hand. Tyrion thought if they wanted to create a new and better world, mass murder and destruction wasn’t the way to go about it. He wanted to discuss who would succeed her one day, but Dany wasn’t having it until she’s sitting on the Iron Throne. Tyrion suggested she likes Jon, but she said he was too little for her, and then was like, oh, sorry.

Some guy in Jon’s group got grabbed by something and eaten right away, and this giant zombie bear thing came out of nowhere. It was not good. One of the guys set it on fire, causing The Hound to freeze. Thoros saved him, but got tossed around and mauled for his trouble. Jorah stabbed the bear thing, and made some magic to get Thoros moving again. When Beric asked if he was okay, Thoros was like, I just got bit by a dead bear, what do you think? Pointing out what a stupid question that was.

The real stupidity of the night was Sansa confiding in Littlefinger about Arya finding the note. Why Arya didn’t out him earlier for having it hidden, I’m not sure. Sansa told him that the people’s loyalty is to Jon, not her, and she’s already been married to two of their enemies. She has a point there. I just don’t understand why Sansa is trusting this dude.

Jon and his guys ambushed a group of White Walkers, made zombie brittle out of them, and kept one just in case they needed it later. Even The Hound was grossed out when he ripped the zombie’s face off, while trying to subdue it. When Jon realized a humongous zombie horde was coming, Gendry got sent back to Castle Black to send a raven to Dragonstone for help. Jon and company ran out in the middle of a frozen lake, not realizing it until it started cracking, but they had to keep moving because the horde was breathing – well, symbolically anyway – down their necks. Then in a very Z Nation type move, row by row of zombies fell through the ice and into the lake. Jon and the main characters of the scene made it to an rock formation, along with their captured zombie, with the remaining horde on the other side of the lake. Since winter is all over the place, Gendry ended up keeling over right in front of the Wall, but the Maester ran out, along with a bunch of other guys, and Gendry told him about sending the raven. Thoros ended up freezing to death, and Beric said blah-blah-blah about the Lord of Light, and they burned his body. Oh well. We learned that if you kill a White Walker, the others he’s taken to hell with him will go too.

Back at Winterfell, Sansa told Brienne to represent her at the Kings Landing summit. Brienne reminded Sansa of her oath, but Sansa said she’d by fine by herself.

There was a zombie free-for-all after The Hound threw rocks at one of them, and there were some amazing crane shots. Beric’s flaming sword was also impressive. I yelled, help him! at the TV when I was sure Tormund was a goner. The Hound came to the rescue. The guys fought the zombies, while the soundtrack got all quiet, like that scene in Snowpiercer when the Chris Evans and the tail section people battle those guys in the black masks.

Even though Tyrion had warned her to do nothing, Dany came flying in on Drogon’s back, wearing a snow queen type outfit, along with the other two dragons. There was dracarys all over the place, and then some. Dany parked, and the guys were trying to get on the Drogon, but only Jorah made it. While Jon was battling the zombies and Dany’s attention was elsewhere, that freaking, spiky-headed Night King started sneaking in on them. He threw that ice spear he carries, and hit Viserion. (I only know the name because I cheated and looked at another recap. I honestly can’t tell one dragon from another. Hey, at least I’m honest.)

Here’s where it turned into a real sh*t show. In my family room. This hideous creature killed Viserion. It was shocking and sickening and horrifying. And that was just my reaction. I burst into tears, jumped out of my chair, yelled at the TV, and my dogs thought I had gone out of my mind, my sensitive one running to comfort me. After this ruthless scene, Dany took off with Jorah and whoever the other dragon is, and Jon fell into the water. I was so freaked, I didn’t even know what happened to the others. Jon’s Uncle Benjen swooped in, like a white knight on a horse. He put Jon on the horse, but when Jon asked him to come, he said there wasn’t time. This perplexed me, because I wondered how much time it would take him to jump on, especially since he ended up getting eaten by the horde.

Next thing I knew, The Hound, Tormund, and Beric were back at the Wall. Tormund said see you later, but The Hound said probably not. Somehow, Benjen’s horse made it back to the Wall.

Sansa searched Arya’s room, and found her faces. Arya is still quiet as a cat though, and snuck up on her. Arya wanted to play a Westeros version of truth or dare, but Sansa didn’t want to, so Arya scared the crap out of her.

Once again, Jon came back to life after being pretty much frozen. He’s getting good at that resurrection thing. He awoke to Dany sitting at his bedside. He was absolutely precious, telling Dany how sorry he was, and how he wished they hadn’t gone. Dany was stoic though, saying that she needed to see it to believe it, but the dragons are the only children she’ll ever have, so she’s going to destroy the spike head king. Jon told her that he sees her for what she is, and he’d bend his knee, but can’t from a hospital bed. They held hands, and the entire viewing audience had the same thought.

Like a billion Jacob Marleys, the zombies drug Viserion  out of the ice water. Okay, I thought, maybe at least we’ll get a zombie dragon out of this. And yes, we will.

General Hospital

Jason tells Sam there’s a good possibility of her getting released today. She asks if they’re all pretending she didn’t shoot Sonny. Jason thinks that’s for the best, but Sam thinks Julian knows something.

Scotty asks Julian how Ava is, and he says healing physically. Scotty says she doesn’t want to see him, but he needs a private conversation with Julian. He says the trial has been postponed until tomorrow, but it’s not a good thing.

Michael brings Sonny some coffee. He tells Sonny that Epiphany has him scheduled for PT. He says Sonny seems distracted, and Sonny says he’s just glad to be alive. Michael says Dante tells him the bullet in his leg isn’t from the Garveman’s gun, and he’s wondering who the other shooter is.

Dante confers with Nathan. He doesn’t buy that Garvelicious had a second gun. An officer brings in a gun that they found at the shooting site.

Elizabeth shows up early for wedding prep, and Ned says his job is to stay out of the way. Olivia-Q thinks she might have something for Elizabeth to do, but Monica interrupts, saying Cook quit without notice when she’s having a reception. Olivia says she fired her.

Jared meets Obrecht, and says it’s good to go. They should be able to access the money in an hour. She says he’ll get what he deserves. Jared adds that Hayden will suffer; isn’t that what she wants? She says her target is Finn.

Finn sits on a bench looking bummed. Curtis comes along, and says he doesn’t seem happy. He asks if Finn and Hayden got in a fight. Finn isn’t sure what it was.

Sam tells Jason that Julian came to see her. When she was sick and out of it, she thinks she remembers telling him that she wanted to get Jason away from Sonny. He told her the conversation never happened, but she insists it did. Jason asks what she told him. She says that she was afraid Sonny would pressure Jason into working for him again, and Julian said the only solution was getting rid of Sonny, so that’s what she did. Jason asks if she told Julian her plans. She says no, but why would he have said it didn’t happen? He asks what she did afterward, and she tells him about getting the gun. She wiped the prints off and threw it in a dumpster at the site afterward. She’s sure the police must have it by now. Jason tells her to trust him, and to promise she won’t say anything.

Alexis comes in, and Jason excuses himself, telling Sam to get some rest. Sam tells Alexis that she’s better. She’s been able to sleep. her bloodwork is improving, and they’re talking about releasing her. Alexis says she can forget all about it once she goes home. Alexis tells her about testifying at Julian’s trial. and says it was hard, but she told the truth; her conscience is clear. She says they’re in recess, and Sam asks why, but Alexis doesn’t know.

Scotty tells Julian that the DA claimed he had another trial, but there are none on the docket. Julian wonders why he’d be stalling. Scotty tells him about Jason blaming him for Sam’s condition, but Julian says he was trying to protect Sam and his kids.

Nathan tells the officer to see if there’s a bullet match. Dante doesn’t want to speculate, and thinks it will end up being untraceable. He thinks someone followed the Big Garve, and used it as an excuse to get Sonny.

Sonny asks if Dante told Michael to question him. Michael says that he loves his brother, but he’s a cop, and he’s not required to disclose anything to him. he says that Sonny getting out of the business made people nervous. Maybe a contractor shot him when he was down and distracted, and now he’s looking to retaliate.

Jared toasts to both him and Obrecht getting what they want. He says he wouldn’t have gone after Rachel/Hayden if it wasn’t for the money. They had an agreement. He asks Obrecht if Finn is awful enough to deserve her. She says he ruins many lives, now it’s his turn. Jared goes inside to get food, and Obrecht says, now for the  finishing touch.

Michael says that Sonny is getting deeper into the business he’s trying to get out of. Michael’s phone rings. It’s Obrecht. She acts all anonymous, hiding her accent, and tells him suspicious transactions have been made by the hospital’s financial officer, Hayden Barnes. He asks who this is, and she tells him to check it out for the good of the hospital, and hangs up. He tells Sonny sorry about third degree. Sonny asks Michael not to talk to Carly. He doesn’t want her to think it’s more than it is, and he doesn’t plan to retaliate against the person who shot him.

Finn tells Curtis that Hayden is embezzling. She was being blackmailed by her ex-husband. Curtis thinks he met him, but he’d said he was an old friend. Finn wonders why he didn’t say something, but Curtis says he told Hayden that she needed to take away his leverage and tell Finn the truth. He asks how things ended, and Finn says he told her that he loved her and if they were going to make it work, they had to be honest. That’s when she walked out.

Sam tells Alexis that she’s sorry to hear the trial was delayed. Alexis says that she’s tired of being involved. Sam asks how she thinks it went for Julian with her testimony; she’s afraid Alexis might try to help him. Alexis tells he that regardless, she told the truth as she knows it. Sam says that she thinks Alexis is right about the importance of telling the truth.

Julian remembers his conversation with Sam. And how he told her to get rid of Sonny. There’s a knock at the door it’s Jason, and he wants to talk about Sam.

Nathan says so much about the case seems off. Dante says if it’s a rival family, Sonny will try handle it himself. He wants the truth. An officer comes back with the results on all three guns. The gun from the dumpster matches the bullet in Sonny’s leg. Dante and Nathan take off.

Monica tells Olivia that wasn’t what she had in mind when she told her to assert herself. She needs to call Cook, apologize, apologize again, and get her back. Ned says that Olivia should be able to cook in her own kitchen, and Monica says that Cook has been with them for many years. Olivia says she’s terrorized them for many years. Monica says it’s her house, and she decides who goes and who stays. After Monica storms off, Olivia tells Ned that she didn’t get a chance to explain. He says that’s typical of the Quartermaines – react first, and asks questions later. She thanks him for defending her.

Michael tells Monica about White Hat Medical supplies being a front for Rachel Berlin. Monica says that’s Hayden’s real name. He tells her that the transfers were reversed within twenty-four hours, and they wonder why she’d do it in the first place. Monica says she and Finn were planning on going to Zanzibar for their honeymoon. They agree something doesn’t sound right, and Michael says they have to talk to her. Monica wonders why commit fraud and then undo it?

Finn tells Curtis that he should have gone after her, but he didn’t want them to say things they couldn’t take back. He wanted to give her space. Curtis says that with a woman like Hayden, that’s the last thing you should do.

Monica says they can have private conversation before the wedding, but she’s going to think positive and go ahead with the reception. She doesn’t know how to feed the guests without Cook. Olivia tries to talk to her, but Monica doesn’t want to add Olivia to her list of problems. Olivia tells Ned that Monica just called her a problem; is she?

Elizabeth sees Michael, and says that she didn’t know he was coming. He says he didn’t know there was a wedding, but needs to speak to bride. Elizabeth asks what’s wrong.

Curtis asks if Finn knows anything about the woman he’s marrying. She’s prickly and defensive on a good day. It took a lot for her to lower her defenses. She screwed up, and her past came back to bite her. She knew she was wrong, and knowing she couldn’t fix it made it worse.  He says that’s up to Finn. Instead of being upset, he needs to let her know that he loves her, and despite everything, she can talk to him – the way she loves him. Finn says he has to find her before it’s too late. Curtis follows.

Alexis asks Sam what going on. She says that she’s remembering things she did, and hid them instead of getting help. Alexis says that she hid things too, but just tell the truth and move on. Sam talks about amends. Alexis asks what she has to make right.

Julian tells Jason that he and Sam talked about Sonny, but he told her that it never happened. Jason says he lied and she knows it, and asks what really happened. Julian says that she was agitated, and it seemed like she was focused on something behind him. Jason asks what she wanted, and Julian says that she was worried Sonny was going to drag Jason back into the business, and he told her that the only way was to get rid of Sonny.

Dante and Nathan visit Sonny. Nathan says they’re doing an update on the investigation. Dante says forensics determined that the bullet in his leg didn’t match either gun, but they discovered a third one in a dumpster. None of it is adding up. Oh, just make something up, Sonny. It’s not like you haven’t done that before.

Alexis thinks Sam is holding back something. Sam says she was thinking about how crazy she acted, and feels horrible. Alexis says that Sam is on a lot of medication, and has nothing to apologize for or be ashamed about. Sam says that she can’t tell what’s real and it’s messing with her head. She has no idea how Jason survived Helena. Alexis says that he’s tough like her, and had family to come back to – her, Danny and Scout. Sam says he’s right, family first, and the kids need her.

Julian asks Jason if Sam had something to do with Sonny being shot. Ava had and even stranger conversation with her the day Sonny was shot. Sam had been looking for him, and blamed Sonny for Ava’s burns. Jason says that she was hallucinating before she collapsed. Jason tells Julian to stay away from her and leaves.

Sonny says he’s told them everything he remembers. Dante says that Sonny’s gun caused the Garvester’s wounds, and Garvey’s gun cause the bullet in Sonny’s vest. Both guns had the right prints, but the leg bullet matches the third gun. He doesn’t know who owns it, since the number was filed off and there are no prints. He asks how Sonny thinks that happened.

Jared leaves to have a smoke. Obrecht tells him that cancer is never attractive, and to enjoy his money. She calls Michael, but he’s not in his office, and his appointments have been canceled for the day. She smiles, saying he’s gone to Monica and her aim is true.

Elizabeth asks Michael what’s going on. He tells her that it’s a board matter. She says there was a strange, upsetting call from the bank for Hayden at the hospital, and asks if she’s in trouble. He tells her maybe they’ll get answers when Hayden gets back.

Monica says that Cook won’t return her calls, and there’s nothing prepared. She yells at Olivia for abusing her trust behind her back. done tieh conv Olivia tells Ned that she’s never seen Monica like this. Ned says he has her back, but Olivia doesn’t know where to start.

The bell rings. Monica is like, now what? It’s Finn and Curtis. Finn says he needs to speak with Hayden; it’s important.

Sonny doesn’t know what Dante wants. He says he has no way of knowing for certain who shot him. All he knows is that he was at the bottom of a pit, and it was a helluva fall. Maybe it messed with his memory. Dante says the gun isn’t traceable. Nathan adds that whoever shot him was a pro. Sonny say if he says so. Dante wants the truth. Sonny says he keeps giving answers but they don’t want to hear it.

Jason asks for Jordan at the station, saying it’s about the Jerome trial, but she’s not there. He asks if Dante and Nathen are, and the officer tells him that they’ll be back soon.

Monica says that Hayden isn’t back, and it’s bad luck to see the bride. Elizabeth asks Finn if he’s calling off the wedding. Finn says no, but there might be a delay. Michael asks if it has to do with GH, but Finn says it’s private. Curtis asks how Hayden seemed, but Elizabeth hasn’t seen her. Curtis tries to call, but her number has been disconnected.

Obrecht talks to herself, saying that the wedding should be starting now, assuming it takes place. He thinks Michael is too cool to confront Hayden at the altar. If only she could be there, but she’ll see the results. She says poor Finn. Who knows how he’ll manage. Hayden’s life as she knows it is over. It’s her wedding gift to him.

Jared finishes his to-go coffee and litters, throwing the cup on the lawn. He looks at his phone, and sees the account is closed. He calls Rachel a bitch, and says that she double crossed him.

Elizabeth says that Hayden is gone. She left behind one thing – her ring.

Alexis tells Sam that she should consider staying at the hospital longer until she feels more like herself, and grateful. Her disease is under control, and will be behind her. Alexis tells her it’s over and leaves. Sam wonders if it is.

Dante’s phone rings. He’s like, huh? Sonny asks if there are new developments. Dante says there’s information on who bought the third gun.

Jason overhears about the gun being found, and being taken to the evidence room.

Tomorrow, Alexis confronts Parker, the police want to talk to Nelle, and Carly tells Sam that she knows what she did to Sonny.

The Real Housewives of Orange County

One of Vicki’s grandkids gets locked in the garage. She tells us they’re two handfuls and yes, they are. She says that she’s made bad choices with men, and she wants stability. Steve seems normal, but it’s early in the season. In her interview, she remembers how she couldn’t bring her family around when she was dating Brooks, but Steve loves the grandkids like his own. She thinks it’s sexy to have a man so compassionate and caring about someone else’s kids. She’s in a good place, having cleaned up her problems and issues, and she’s hoping that the friendships she’s lost come back when they see the change. Really? You want Shannon back? I wouldn’t.

Meghan discusses the sip and see with Bridget. She says it’s basically like a baby shower with the baby. She tells Bridget about seeing Vicki at the Lamborghini event, and calls her. She extends a formal invite for the party. She’s not okay with everything Vicki has done, thinking Vicki wants to play the victim, but that’s just Vicki. She tells Vicki that Shannon and Tamra will be there. Vicki thanks her for the warning, and promises not to throw wine. My take on this situation has always been that, in her heart, Vicki knew that jerk Brooks was lying, but she lied to herself because she loved him, and really because she was lonely. No excuse for a grown-up, but come on, holding a grudge for something like that?

Diko and Peggy talk about the Lamborghini unveiling, and he asks what was up with Meghan. She says Meghan kept talking long after Vicki asked her to get off the subject. Diko says it’s like beating a dead horse. Peggy says Meghan wants to bring the horse back to life. Diko tells her that she doesn’t want to get on their naughty list, and the  has to explain the coal thing. Meghan calls, but Peggy’s phone has vibrated off the table and the screen shatters. Meghan thinks Peggy is blowing her off, but Peggy calls back.

Meghan officially invites Peggy to the sip and see. She knows what it’s like to be the new girl, and we flash back to her first argument with Shannon. She tells Peggy about the others being invited. Peggy suggests the baby be rotated, so that no one fights. Meghan doesn’t understand a word she’s saying, but she’s like, okay.

Lydia and Doug go to the sushi place where they’re having the magazine launch party, and go over the details with the manager. Lydia explains they’re bringing in liquid nitrogen ice cream and a facial grooming station. In her interview, she says a shaving station sounds good in theory, but feels like people won’t want something like that where they’re eating. Doug disagrees. The manager thinks maybe after a few drinks, it will work. Lydia says she’s waiting to see how the sip and see goes before she gives out invites to the launch. Their clients are going to be there, and she doesn’t need Shannon throwing plates in front of someone who’s on the fence about advertising with them. They test out the food and cocktails. Doug suggests they do this every week.

Tamra goes to a baby store with Shannon (who I thought was Briana from a distance) to get a gift for Aspen. She asks Shannon if she’s nervous. She thinks Shannon should see Vicki before the party, which is tomorrow. Nothing like a last minute, stressful idea. Shannon is going to gain five pounds just thinking about it.

Vicki goes baby shopping at a different store. Kelly meets her there. They’re both fawning over the cute outfits and baby gear, but Vicki suddenly senses that a baby made poo-poo in there recently. She opens the door to air the place out, and we flash back to her gagging over different smells. The store manager sprays air freshener. This never, ever works. It only makes things worse because then you have a bad smell plus some cloying scent, that wraps around it, rather than getting rid of it. Kelly says, speaking of sh*t, they’re going to be in it tomorrow. She tells Vicki about meeting with Tamra. Vicki says Tamra likes to throw a grenade, walk away, and expect everyone to get over it. In her interview, Vicki says Tamra likes to conquer and divide.

Shannon wishes she could be fake, but she can’t. She and Tamra practice hellos, and Tamra thinks Shannon looks like Hannibal Lecter. Shannon practices some more in her interview. Tamra suggests saying what’s up? instead. Shannon says she’s just not going to react to anything. We see various clips of her saying that she’s done. She tells Tamra that if she’s going to speak to Kelly, she needs to do it before tomorrow. The reaction that Kelly pulls out of her, isn’t one she wants to have again. She’s done with seeing red. I laugh because no one is ever done with anything on these shows.

Omg, Vicki discusses the vaginal rejuvenation again with Kelly. I just can’t.

Kelly tells her mom, Bobbi, about Tamra inviting her out before the sip and see. Bobbi says if Tamra says she wants to move on, move on. Kelly wants to apologize to Shannon, so they can move forward. Bobbi wishes her good luck with that.

Tamra is nervous, since both Shannon and Tamra can fly off the handle. The ladies meet at a smoothie place. Kelly goes in to order, and Tamra thinks the initial reaction went well. Shannon says she never knows what to expect, and we flash back to some nonsense. Shannon says that since Lydia had invited Kelly to The Quiet Woman, she thought Kelly came intentionally to create drama. Kelly says it was a miscommunication, and she’d thought it was just Lydia and Peggy going. She says she was kind of taken aback that Shannon got pissed off when they ran into each other. Shannon says she felt hurt by what Kelly said. Kelly says that it wasn’t her intent to get Shannon angry and upset. In her interview, Shannon thinks that after a few drinks, Kelly wanted to stir the sh*t. Kelly asks if they’re ever going to get over Vicki. She feels badly about the whole situation, and has never heard Vicki talk about them. Shannon is angry with herself over letting Vicki get to her and you know, that’s why she gained weight. She says there’s a lot of hurt between them, and she wants to make sure the nastiness is done, so she can move forward. In her interview, she says she’s still cautious, but miraculously, they end the lunch laughing.

Tamra comes to pick up Shannon for Meghan’s party. She has a super long hallway that’s hard to navigate in heels. Vicki picks Kelly up, and they have mimosas. Vicki says every time they go somewhere, they have to bring presents. She used to bring a casserole. She wonders why they can’t just see the baby, instead of sip and bring presents. She says it’s a hundred bucks every time she visits someone. Kelly tells Vicki about Shannon blaming Vicki for her weight gain. Vicki is all of us when her reaction is wtf?

At Meghan’s, everyone is greeted with champagne. Lydia says it’s a sip and see for Aspen, but to be honest, it’s a sip and see for Tamra and Vicki. I have to admit that Baby Aspen is adorable. Kelly tells Lydia and Peggy about Shannon thinking she came to the restaurant to purposely stir things up. Lydia says it was her mistake in inviting her. She thought they would just kiss and make up. Lydia doesn’t think it was malicious, and Kelly says it wasn’t. Shannon and Tamra arrive.

Vicki thinks nothing should be forced, Tamra acts snarky in her interview, and I think they should all grow up. Vicki says it won’t be like it was, but they need to be in the same place together, be classy, and move on. Peggy and Lydia come over to say hello, and Vicki orders two chardonnays, one for back up or to throw. Meghan tells Shannon that she seems anxious. Vicki says they’re not making an effort, so she’s not bothering. Shannon sees Vicki, and she’s hungry. She shovels nachos in her mouth. Vicki tells Peggy that she has to force herself to stay in a good place. In her interview, Peggy says that she sees a lot of hurt, but they need to get over the pettiness. She’s lost a mother, father, and her breasts. Wow. She makes a good point. And she actually does seem classy.

There’s a large cardboard photo of Meghan, with a cut-out where the baby’s head should be, and the women pose with their heads through it. The stuff they come up with is pretty funny.

Time to open presents. Everyone sits, and Tamra and Shannon make a point of sitting as far away from Vicki as possible. Lydia suddenly gets the expression about tension being so thick you can cut it with a knife. She doesn’t know whether she should move or speak, it’s so weird. Lots of cute presents. Tamra jokes that there’s a Lamborghini in Peggy’s gift basket. Shannon stares at Vicki when her gift is opened. Meghan says it’s a beautiful day and toasts it. Shannon says that she doesn’t feel anger; she just feels nothing, and I don’t believe it for a second.

Lydia says she’s encouraged by everyone getting along, and invites everyone to the launch party. Vicki says she’s done with pussyfooting around, and says bye. When she’s leaving, everyone makes stupid faces at each other. Outside, Vicki tells Kelly she didn’t even get a hello, but she didn’t say anything either.

Tamra gripes that she has ten years with Vicki, but has zero respect for her now. She says that Vicki is an insecure bitch. Shannon wants to eat, and asks for vodka. Tamra thinks she’s using food and alcohol as a crutch when Vicki is around. Except Vicki left. Meghan says she’s been anxious. Not because of them, but her. She has a past with Vicki too, and we flash back to that. To hear Vicki say that she’s been hurt too, doesn’t bode well. Tamra wants to know how they hurt her. She wonders if they should meet and ask her to talk, and get to the bottom of it. Shannon asks what she wants out of it, and Meghan says to get her point across. Shannon doesn’t think that will happen, and Tamra says that Vicki likes being a victim. She calls Vicki sh*t on the bottom of her shoe, and once again shows her Christianity.

Next time, Lydia goes on a helicopter ride, Kelly and Michael argue, and Peggy thinks meeting with Vicki is a good idea. Because she doesn’t know these people.

The Real Housewives of Dallas

They’re ba-a-a-ack! Stephanie and Cary get together, with Stephanie’s many dogs. Cary says they’ve become close. Stephanie says they have a new dog named Biscuit who likes to run around with her underwear, like Travis. New Wife Kameron arrives. Cary says she’s one of the wealthy ones who writes the rich people’s checks. Kameron says that she likes to play the blonde card, but tells us that it’s a con as old as hair dye. She has a blonde license plate, and everyone drives safely around her car. Cary is having a party, and inviting LeeAnne, since she wants to move on. We revisit the reunion, where she and LeeAnne made up.

LeeAnne’s friend, Marie (who LeeAnne threatened to take out last season), posted an old police report about LeeAnne trying to kill some guy with a knife – and sandpaper. Cary says she’d trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, and called her after it came out.

Brandi cruises the mall and runs into LeeAnne. They’re friends now. She says LeeAnne is in anger management, and she’s proud of her and notices a change. We flash back to their clashes last season. She thinks LeeAnne wants to be a better person and she’s trying.

Cary tells the girls that she’s inviting Brandi. Stephanie says she hasn’t talked to her in almost four months. In her interview, she says they were like sisters, but Brandi won’t say what Stephanie did wrong. LeeAnne asks Brandi if she’s spoken to Stephanie. Nope. She says she gets emo thinking about it. Brandi explains that Stephanie talked behind her back about her marriage being a slow-motion car crash. We see this written in her blog. Brandi feels that she was an open book, but Stephanie hides, making people think she has a fairy tale life. She had to put up a wall. LeeAnne asks where it’s going, and Brandi says she’s moving on.

Kameron tries to make some kind of pumpkin pasta dish. She wants to get better at cooking. She tells us she was a nerd in high school, more concerned with grades than social life. Husband Court arrives. Kameron says she came to Texas for college, and was 22 when she met him. He’s also a total nerd, and she tells us that in the wedding speech, her sister said the nerds found each other. At first she was hesitant about their height difference – she’s six feet tall, and they call Court, The Hobbit. She had no idea he was rich until he wanted to take her on a trip, and they pulled up to a private plane. Dammit! Where was this guy when I was young and single? Court is a venture capitalist, doing investments in technology. The house is massive, 7500 square feet, and they built it from the ground up. She tells us that pink is a way of taking herself out of reality. Blonde by birth; pink by choice.

LeeAnne and Rick meet other new Wife D’Andra and her husband for dinner. LeeAnne tells us that D’Andra is from a legacy family, and is also her best friend. Rich has had two eye surgeries, and LeeAnne has been looking after him. She says it’s been a difficult road. D’Andra says they’re a perfect match, since LeeAnne is mentally disabled. Rich says he’s about to retire, and he’s cool with it; he’s not defined by his job.

D’Adra’s mother is coming for breakfast. She tells us her father is a self-made millionaire, and the Simmons name is everywhere. She says she had almost 300 dresses by the time she was five, and 75 pairs of shoes, and she hasn’t gotten out of the phase. She talks about how great her husband Jeremy is, and how good-looking, but as Columbia told Frankie, he’s okay. D’Andra has felt pressure around her mom. Everyone thinks she’s fantastic, and D’Andra wonders if she’s chopped liver. Their house is full of all kinds of amazing things, since her husband is a photojournalist, and she’s also traveled a lot. Her mother started a nutrition product line that turned from a hobby to an empire. D’Andra was supposed to get the company turned over to her in 2004, but it never happened. She instructs Jeremy on how to butter his bread.

D’Andra’s mother tells her that she’s going out of town. She tells D’Andra that she has a company credit card and not to buy designer gowns with it. She asks D’Andra if she knows what a budget is. In her interview, D’Andra says that she’s always wanted to prove she can do things on her own. Her mother says she’s not walking away until she believes that D’Andra can take responsibility for the company. Sounds reasonable, but I wonder if her criteria is impossible.

LeeAnne visits her therapist Elizabeth, and they compliment each other’s clothes, which I find odd. In her interview, LeeAnne says that Rich could see she was hurting last year. She was bothered by her triggers, and he wanted her to find out why she gets angry, so she could control it better. She tells Elizabeth about someone dredging up a false report about her trying to kill a boyfriend. She says she wants to get back at her. She says that her reputation was affected by her actions on the show, but when someone hurts her, she wants to verbally destroy them. She doesn’t want others changing who she is, and the therapist says only you can change you. The therapist tells her to focus on who’s bad for her and who isn’t. She says that when Cary told her she was sorry, she believed her, because it was the same night the article was let fly. She doesn’t trust her completely, but trusts Stephanie less. She’s sure lies are being spread.

Stephanie says that she and Travis are in a better place. Last year, she felt like he was her boss. She says that things are good now, because she found her voice, and last year she was married to Brandi.

Brandi tells us that she and Bryan went through hell last year. He was so focused on his career, it seemed like the family didn’t matter. We flash back to all that. She and Bryan are chit-chatting before bed, and I can’t help but notice that she’s wearing full makeup. She thinks the thing with Stephanie made them stronger. He tells her that they’re too close not to get back eventually. Brandi thinks that Stephanie has been hanging out with everyone but her.

Travis tells Stephanie it’s getting awkward. He and Bryan are BFFs, and the argument has affected them. He says it’s their deal, and they need to fix it. Stephanie says it’s like a break-up, and she wants to protect herself from getting hurt again.

Brandi says the final straw came when she’d planned a Father’s Day weekend at her house, and Stephanie spent it inside reading magazines. Travis encouraged her to participate, and she told him to get over it. He was there to hang out with his friends.

Kameron and D’Andra go to a pet store. Kameron is looking for good dog food. She wants to start a dog food line, and now that the kids are in school, she has time to focus on her idea. Louie is the Yorkie she had before she met her husband, and she takes him everywhere. She says that life is too short to keep eating brown food, so she’s making pink food, hoping to eventually branch out to blue for boys. She thinks it could be fun and special. D’Andra tells us how smart Kameron is. She plays the dumb blonde Barbie, but knows exactly what she’s doing. Louie tests several treats, but everything is a no. He’s worse than my dogs. Kameron tries a dog cupcake, and declares it better than her protein bar. Having tried most brands of protein bars, I’d probably agree with her. The store clerk tells Louie that he’s missing out.

Cary meets LeeAnne while they’re walking their dogs. LeeAnne wanted a moment with just them, and hopes for more in the future. Cary says that she and Mark were hurt by the things she said last year. We flash back to the reunion, where LeeAnne is carrying on, and Cary looks sick. She tells LeeAnne that her family was hurt. LeeAnne says she wants to own what she did, and she’s sorry. Cary says that’s why she called LeeAnne about report before people started talking. She forgives LeeAnne, but wants them to have mutual respect, suggesting that they work on it together. LeeAnne says that whatever is going on between Stephanie and Brandi isn’t good, but neither of them wants to deal with it. Mark has a birthday party coming up, and it’s the first time they’ll be seeing each other in a while. LeeAnne finds it difficult to be in a room with an elephant. In her interview, Cary says her approach is to stay out of it, while LeeAnne’s is to stay in it. She tells LeeAnne they need to work it out themselves.

It’s Mark’s birthday party at a fancy sushi place. Lots of sushi happening tonight. Now I want sushi. Cary greets everyone. She’s wearing the coolest red dress that’s short in front and long in back. LeeAnne is focused on how Brandi is going to handle seeing Stephanie, but she says it’s Mark’s night. D’Andra suggests wearing pink camo and taking over the world, and Cary says she’s like a real life Elle Woods. I love Elle Woods. And Bruiser. Brandi tells LeeAnne about getting a text from Cary, telling her that LeeAnne is up to her old tricks and to be careful. Brandi says it sucks that LeeAnne is being talked about behind her back when she’s trying to do better. Brandi tells her not to repeat it tonight, and LeeAnne says it will be good practice. In her interview, she says that a fire is burning that even God might not be able to put out. Wow. Drama queen much? She and Brandi pray in the limo for peaceful evening.

LeeAnne wishes Mark a happy birthday. Stephanie says hello to Brandi, who ignores her. making everyone. Cary tells them to grab a cocktail, but that might not be the best idea. Stephanie eyeballs Brandi.

Mark asks Cary if they’ve worked it out, and suggests Kameron meet Brandi. Cary introduces them. Brandi has a wineglass big enough for Amy Schumer. Cary thanks them for coming, and Brandi blatantly ignores Stephanie. Stephanie asks her for two seconds, and LeeAnne says she doesn’t think Brandi wants to. Stephanie keeps trying to get Brandi to step aside for a conversation, but LeeAnne continues to answer for her, while Brandi just stares at her lap. In her interview, Cary calls LeeAnne a guard dog, and says taking a step back wouldn’t occur to her since she likes drama. She adds that the therapy is really working well. Brandi says she has to leave. In her interview, she says she doesn’t want to make a scene or let people know the pain she feels. Her BFF is not her BFF any more. LeeAnne follows her out. Stephanie sheds a tear. LeeAnne makes Brandi stop, and Brandi sobs on her shoulder. LeeAnne says she’ll be right back.

LeeAnne tells Cary that she’s disappointed in her, and tells her about the text. Cary says that she’d never say that, and appreciates LeeAnne coming to her. LeeAnne says there’s obviously a disconnect between Stephanie and Brandi. Cary says it has nothing to do with her. In her interview, LeeAnne says at this point, she’ll accept Cary’s words as truth.

Stephanie tells Cary that she doesn’t understand.

Next time, D’Andra talks to her mom about the company, a dog costume contest, Brandi shows Cary the text, and LeeAnne wears a hot dog costume.

Shahs of Sunset

Meanwhile, back in Tel Aviv, our Shahs gather for a breakfast buffet. Mike explains how they’ve been alternating who gets to choose what they’re doing, and today is Asa’s day. She’s decided on an art project. Reza suggests someone check on MJ. She sent him a text pic, and says she looks like she was ridden hard and put away wet, but she’s really just badly hungover. Reza tells Asa that MJ isn’t having her usual fresh like a flower recovery. Asa wants to go to the city of Akko, where she says that Jews, Muslims, and Christians live in peaceful co-existence. She asks the group to film some people at the market, while she interviews three spiritual leaders, and reminds them to be respectful. Reza wants her to find a new hobby, since he got roped into being in one of her videos, shirtless and less than fit. MJ finally joins them, and Reza says it’s a miraculous makeover.

When they get to Akko, Asa goes off to do her interviews. A rabbi greets her with a virtual hug because he’s orthodox. Another rabbi, a priest, and a Muslim peacemaker (the Yoda of Palestine) are also in attendance, which totally sounds like the start of a joke.

Reza bothers some strange cats in a dumpster and on a rooftop, which mike equates with touching a gas station bathroom doorknob and eating chips without washing your hands. Asa films each of the leaders, and all promote messages of love. Rabbi number two has the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen, and they absolutely twinkle. The others don’t have much luck in the village, as people don’t want to be interviewed or photographed. Reza gets a free falafel though. Mike is disturbed that the conversations are starting with asking what religion the person is. Reza says there’s not a yarmulke to be seen. Mike gets Reza on the side, and asks if it seems mixed to him. Reza says it’s all older Arabs, and they don’t like the Western world. Man, his face has one nervous expression.

The call to prayer happens, and Mike says he told them. Reza says he was told that Muslims and Jews lived in harmony there for centuries. Mike wants to keep it moving, and discuss it in a safe place, since everyone wonders wtf this group is doing. Reza wants to get the hell out of Dodge.

Asa is having a much better time, laughing, singing, and dancing with her worldview brethren. They break bread as the sun is setting, and rabbi number one thanks her for helping to bring unity to the world. She tells them that this is the future, and they walk into it together. She hopes the others are also having an enriching experience. Um…

Reza looks at the toy guns at the market, marked for ages three and up, and says it looks like a terrorist Christmas gift. GG isn’t feeling threatened, and thinks it’s in Mike’s head that he does. Asa joins them. She tells them it was life changing, and the future seems bright. Mike thinks she’s living in a dream world, and gets everyone to move along. Asa tells them not to emit this type of energy. Reza says that eyes are on them in a wtf are you doing here? kind of way. She suggests he be as nice to the people as he is to the cats, and tells him to open his mind. He wants to work on it in the car. In her interview, Asa thinks you get back what you give out. Reza asks how he can get a perspective from someone who hates him, and she says by understanding them and radiating love. He thinks they should have switched places, and tells Asa that the rage he has gives him all the feels. Asa hugs him, and says she hears him and understands. I love her attitude, but I agree it doesn’t work like that. At least not overnight.

Back in the bus/limo, Mike equates it to wearing a Rolex in a bad neighborhood, and then complaining about it getting stolen. He says a guy was making gun noises, and others joined in, and it was scary. He says people were walking around aggressive, but GG insists it’s safe there. She says he wants to live in a Jewish bubble, and everything outside of it is dangerous. Mike says it has nothing to do with that – they’re seen as Westerners, who the townspeople see on the news talking smack about them. They’re walking around with cameras and interrogating them, and it appears antagonistic.

Mike says the trip left a bad taste in his mouth, and he wants to make sure they experience a real Israeli Shabbat tonight.  He remembers how enlightened he was to meet Asa’s family, and hopes she gets the same from his. He doesn’t blame her for the day, knowing she just wanted them to experience things differently. MJ calls Tommy, and asks him to call her dad, but he’s planned to visit him, which makes her happy.

Shabbat is being held in a restaurant. Mike hasn’t seen his family in ten years, so he’s a little nervous. The cousins start pouring in. He says it’s important to him because the time goes by so quickly, but when they get together, they pick up where they left off like it was yesterday. His sickly great aunt arrives in a wheelchair and he’s thrilled that she came out to see him.

Cousin Yossi talks about God resting on the seventh day, and they should too. Everyone toasts, saying Shabbat Shalom. Reza is trying to get over the day’s experience, and says that being surrounded by joy and love, he’s sensing what it means to be in Israel, and it’s what he came there for. He talks about his grandmother not liking him, and how he thought it was because he was gay, but it was really because he’s half Muslim. The love he wanted from his Jewish side, he’s getting from Mike’s family. Mike says a prayer, and drinks from a huge horn. In his interview, he says he screwed up with Jessica, and hopes for another chance at having his own family.

Mike invites Reza to come speak. Reza talks about how he’d been to a city that was shocking and jarring, and it wasn’t the experience he was looking for. Now, he sees the love, and Judaism, and beauty of Israel. He thanks them, and Mike says that he’s never felt so Jewish. In her interview, GG says loving the Jewish culture doesn’t mean you have to dismiss or disrespect Islam. You can’t be for peace when all you’re doing is shaming the other side. I agree with her, but she doesn’t seem to grasp that Reza has good reason for his fear.

The next morning, Asa feels depleted. She says she’s tired all the time, and read that a pregnant woman lying down is doing more work than someone running a marathon. GG tells Destiney and Shervin about how Reza is being disrespectful. In her interview, she talks about when they were in Turkey, and Reza called the women in veils, “walking curtains.” She hopes that Reza can get over his Muslim hate for the sake of their friendship.  He arrives, and she tells him that some of the things he says can be taken as offensive. He tells her that they have different experiences, and she says they can be angry, or say it is what it is, and enjoy the other things the country has to offer. Reza says that it wasn’t a positive experience. Shervin says that he and Destiney have stepped out of their shells and been open-minded; he should do the same. Reza says that he’ll make a conscious effort not to slam Islam while they’re in Israel. He shouts that he loves all Muslims.

Mike brings out journals for everyone, so they can write down things for the Western Wall. In his interview, he says that MJ’s life is a mess. She admits that she never planned ahead, and hated the where do you see yourself in ten years? question. MJ writes an essay, and reads it out loud. She talks about fear and failure, and how she wants to create a legacy. She wants to eliminate the what-ifs. Reza thinks she should be more specific, instead of taking God on a roller coaster ride. He tears up, and tells her that he wants her to get married and have a baby. She’ll be an amazing mom, and that will be a legacy. He doesn’t want to take away from what she wrote, but that’s his wish for her.

As they’re boarding to leave, MJ and GG encourage Shervin to take the front seat reserved for Asa, but when Asa gets on the bus/limo, she doesn’t find it funny. Reza says she always magnifies whatever is going wrong. MJ says Jerusalem is like living inside a postcard. Reza marvels, knowing that Jesus walked there, chilling with his friends. Mike says it’s the heart and crown jewel of Israel. It really is gorgeous, and historic, and holy – the Biblical definition of which is, “set apart.” Reza says the Wall is where to ask for whatever you want in the universe. He tells them to tap into the energy of the Wall. Men and women are separated, and everyone cleanses themselves before approaching. Reza hopes and prays that everyone takes away a gift from the experience, clears their mind, and connects.

Mike tells Shervin that a yarmulke is a sign of respect, and Shervin asks if all religions pray at the Wall. He says he’s an outsider, and feels strongly that the people who aren’t Jewish can tells he’s not. Really? That’s some weird exaggerated thinking. Mike puts on a prayer shawl. He says the last time he prayed there, it was about the past, and he has clarity now. He wants what he saw last night – family. He wants to find the right one again.

GG sees the women being secondary, and says the men have more room at the Wall. She’s used to it from her travels, but doesn’t like it. Of course she doesn’t participate, which isn’t unusual for her. I guess her Zen is wearing off. Reza’s grandfather was on his mind, and says that when he put his face to the Wall, it was as though he was touching his grandfather, and was with him. He believes his grandfather loves him, and says Adam has his name, and the children will too. A rabbi places a tefillin – a box with parts of the Torah in it – on Reza’s head, and he, Reza, and Mike dance in a circle. Reza says he now has what he’s wanted for so long.

GG scowls in the background; Golnessa probably not far away. She says it’s just a wall. She sees a temple and mosque in the distance, and sees the wall as a blockage and barrier. She wants to tear it down. Sigh… It’s sort of sad that this girl will not grow up. I’ll really start liking her, and then she’ll be ridiculous, usually followed by  being violent. The episode was dedicated to Mike’s aunt in the wheelchair, who sadly, passed away.

Next time, GG gets insulted (bigger sigh), Asa is offended, and someone gets a tattoo. (Hint: It’s not me. Although I’d like one.)

Tonight’s Throne Game

Unfortunately, Jaime didn’t drown. I hate him right now, and can’t call him enough bad names. Tyrion surveyed the damage, and it was pretty depressing. I watch poor Drogon, and call Jaime a sh*tball. Dany sets the Casterly Rock warriors straight by saying she’s not like Cersei, and wants to offer them a choice to join her and leave the world a better place, or they can die. That’s a hard one. Drogon roared, and almost everyone bent the knee pretty quickly. Sam’s father stayed standing, and griped that Cersei should be queen, since she was born in Westeros, and called Dany an interloper. Dany respected him for not trading his honor for his life. She suggested he take The Black, but he didn’t like that idea either. So some Dothraki took him away. His son decided to come along, and Tyrion called him stupid. Well, no army needs stupid people, so bye Tarley dudes. Dracarys for you both.

Cersei thought they should hire mercenaries, but Jaime was like, um… Dany has three dragons, and we can’t win. Then she came up with the great idea of having Tyrion interve. Jaime told her about Oleanna having been the one who killed Joffrey. She said either way they were screwed.

Jon got up close and personal with Drogon, who, to the relief of millions, seems to be fine. He let Jon pet his nose, and all our hearts went pitty-pat. Dany questioned Jon about his death experience. Ser Jorah returned, and Dany was impressed that he found a cure for his greyscale.

Bran hooked up with a bunch of two-eyed ravens, and took a look around the Wall (totally different Wall than the one that the Shahs visited). He saw the army of White Walkers, and said they needed to send ravens with the news. Poor Sam continued to haul books around for the Maester. There was a Maester meeting where they took potshots at Bran’s message, but Sam gave them the low down that Bran could see beyond the Wall. Maybe it’s me, but I think Sam is starting to sound a little sarcastic when he talks to them. The head Maester said they’d look into it, which meant they were blowing off Sam. The knowledge of Sam’s brother and father becoming crispy critters was kept from him.

Varys, who I’m really starting to like, discussed Tyrion’s responsibilities with him. He thought Tyrion could do better at being the Queen’s Hand. Jon was totally freaked to find out his siblings were still alive, and even more freaked about the White Walkers. He wanted Dany’s help, but she was like, oh no, once I go to do that, Cersei will take over. Tyrion thought it would be a good idea to lasso one of the White Walkers and bring it to Cersei. I’d do that. And then tell it to bite her head off. Jorah, who’s still trying to impress Dany, volunteered. Jon insisted on going too, since he’s the one with experience. At this point, I started wondering where The Hound is these days.

Sansa got complaints from the lords that nothing is going on, but she said they had to wait for Jon to get back. Arya accused her of wanting Winterfell for herself, and Sansa ignored that. Tyrion snuck into Casterly Rock and ran into Jaime, who looked like he was having a hard time keeping a straight face, since Tyrion was his usual witty self. Davros picked up Gendry, Robert Baratheon’s bastard son. Gendry did some nice work dispatching a couple of guards with a cool weapon he’d designed, taking their faces off. Jaime told Cersei about the White Walkers. I had to laugh because she seemed hesitant to believe such a thing existed. But dragons are okay. She told Jaime never to betray her again.

Sam got tired of just reading about adventures, and decided to leave for one of his own. Arya spied on Littlefinger, who met some girl and gave her something. He then talked with two old guys while Arya kept watching. Later, one of the guys came to his room, and gave him a message. Arya saw that too. The second he was gone, she tossed his room, and found the note in a hole in the mattress. It was a letter that Cersei forced Sansa to write in some other season. When Arya came out, Littlefinger was in the shadows, so who knows what’s up his little finger. I’ll bet he goes on her list. I’d expect better sneaking around from Arya though.

Jon met with the men at Castle Black, where Tormund discouraged him, but showed him some prisoners – The Hound (they were reading my mind) and Beric. Beric said they don’t want to go beyond the Wall, but they have to. He got all philosophical, saying there was a great purpose at work, and they were all together for a reason, and blah=blah=blah about the Lord of Light. At this point, Jon was like, if you’re breathing, you’re on my side, come on, and they started off to the other side of the Wall. Winter is seriously there.

The main takeaway point? The dragon is okay!

Next time, Jon and company battle White Walkers and Arya asks Sansa what she’s scared of.

General Hospital

Scotty tells Julian that he got a bench trial, so Julian doesn’t have to face a jury. He convinced the judge that they couldn’t be impartial. He says Alexis hates Julian because of what happened to Sam. They don’t know if she’s going to save him, or throw him to the coyotes. Scotty wonders which Alexis is going to show up.

At the MetroCourt, Alexis, Molly, and Kristina discuss babysitting Scout to help out Sam. Molly is concerned about Julian’s trial. Alexis was told that she’s testifying early. The girls wonder what she’s going to say, and she tells them that depends on what she’s asked. Kristina says that Julian belongs in prison for life.

Valentin and Charlotte have lunch at Kelly’s. Charlotte is concerned that Spencer is going to take Windemere away.

Ava sips a martini. Kiki knocks at the door, and Ava puts on her mask. She still dresses well, no matter what’s going on. Kiki has Griff with her. Ava asks if they’re there to take her to Julian’s trial; she’s not going for obvious reasons. Kiki asks about her therapy session, and Ava wonders if they’re trying to whisk her off to another one. Griff says no; they were thinking of lunch.

Elizabeth tells Hayden that the bank is calling about suspicious activity. Hayden takes the phone, and tells them that she did set up a new medical supplier. She says that she’s not in her office, but transfers need to start immediately. Elizabeth and Finn are surprised that they’re changing suppliers, and Hayden tells them to stop badgering her.

Scotty asks what happened when Julian got a text from Alexis. I don’t know because the sound goes out on my TV and I have to fiddle with it. Julian tells Scotty about Sam, and how he’d made the mistake of telling Alexis that he wanted to see her. She shut him out completely.

Alexis tells the girls that the prosecution isn’t sure if they have a hostile witness, so the questions will probably just require a yes or no response. Molly says that she should know that one word can make a world of difference in the meaning of an answer, and change the color of the text. Kristina wants Alexis to promise she won’t help Julian. Alexis says she’s going to tell the truth. Kristina says she hates Julian, and that Morgan died because of him. Alexis says he wasn’t directly responsible for that, or for Sam getting sick. Kristina says no one believes his story except her. She thinks it’s wrong to give him the benefit of the doubt, and Alexis is still doing it.

Charlotte tells Valentin that Spencer said Windemere still belongs to him. Valentin explains that his father, Mikkos, left him Windemere in his will, and Spencer is upset. He thinks it’s still his, and is suing Valentin, but he’ll lose. He tells her that Spencer is in school now, and he’s going to make all of this go away.

Ava tells Griff and Kiki that she’s not ready for an outing. Griff has brought her some books to help her decide if she wants to continue therapy or take another path. Griff says she can’t give up, especially during the in between stages. She has to learn how to manage change, and looking up can bring miracles. Kiki says that she can’t stay hiding, and she’s going to get Ava out if it kills her. Ava wonders why she wants to, and Kiki says she just does and Ava owes her.

Hayden says didn’t mean to snap; she’s just being a Bridezilla. She says she has a lot to do, and the bank guy was being a jerk. Finn tells her to be good to herself, and just breath. He goes back to work, and Hayden apologizes to Elizabeth. Elizabeth says weddings stressful, but what’s really going on? Is it the baby? Hayden says the baby is fine, but Elizabeth says Hayden isn’t. Hayden tells her that she feels like everything is about to fall apart.

Julian tells Scotty that Alexis’s testimony isn’t fair; he can’t ask her to go through that again. Scotty says whatever happens, she’ll be fine, but Julian could be in a monkey cage for the rest of his life. He’d better hope Alexis doesn’t hold Sam’s illness against him and tear him apart. Here come da judge. (Google it.)

Molly tells Alexis that Julian brings her down, and wonders why she still loves him. Alexis says she doesn’t. Kristina tells her that she just got her career back, and not to let him damage her reputation, sobriety, or heart. Alexis tells them to go register for school, and stop badgering her. Molly says it’s just that they care, and Kristina says they know she’ll do what’s right.

Hayden has the horrible feeling that she doesn’t deserve this. Elizabeth says that’s not true. Hayden tells Elizabeth that Finn changed her; love made her a better person. All she wants is a happy life and family. She starts crying, and. Elizabeth tells her that we all get anxious about the future. Hayden says she always finds a fabulous way to screw things up. Elizabeth says that all the feelings and emotions will swirl around, and then suddenly she’ll be married to the man she loves, and she’ll be fine. Elizabeth talks about the baby shower, and Hayden wishes they’d gotten to know one another better. Elizabeth says they have plenty of time for that.

Finn sneaks into Hayden’s office, and puts a cactus plant on her desk, but he can’t find the card. He throws the box away, and sees the visitor pass from the prison in the garbage can. Hayden comes in. He says when she went to get the plane tickets, she went to see her father, and asks why she didn’t tell him.

Griff, Kiki, and Ava go into Kelly’s. Charlotte gasps and points. saying that lady! Most unrealistic reaction ever for a kid who’s traveled the world and has Valentin for a father. Valentin tells her not to point. The lady looks like that because she was hurt badly, and it’s probably difficult for her to come outside in the first place, because someone would react like that. She was rude, and needs to make it right. Ava tells Griff that he keeps trying to fix her, but she can’t be fixed. She’s a freak, who scares little girls. Kiki says he’s just trying to help, and Ava asks how, by bringing her worst fears to life? (Well, actually, that is a form of therapy.) Griff suggests getting take out, and Ava tells him that she can’t stay there another minute. Kiki says they’ll get it, and Ava goes outside.

Charlotte follows Ava out, and apologizes, saying that she didn’t understand and got scared. Papa told her that Ava got hurt, and wanted her to apologize. So did she, and she hopes that Ava gets better soon. Valentin comes out and tells Charlotte to go back inside. He apologizes again, and Ava says it’s okay; she reacts the same way when she sees herself. Valentin says Charlotte did hit on something in wanting her to feel better. She can. Sooner than she thinks.

Hayden tells Finn she felt like she owed it to her father and herself to make peace. He did what he did, and was wrong, but he’s the only father she’s known. Finn says she’s so much better than him, but she says she’s getting married and he’s not walking her down the aisle; she had to tell him. Finn asks why she didn’t say anything. Hayden says that he would have wanted to come, but had to see her father alone. Finn asks what they talked about, and Hayden is vague, saying she had questions about what he did, and some other things that he could provide answers to. Finn asks if she got them, and she says yes and no.

Jared asks for Hayden at the desk. He tells Elizabeth that he’s a friend from a long time ago.

Alexis gets called to the witness stand first. (Are there even any other witnesses?) The prosecutor, who sounds like Will Smith, asks if she wants Julian to pay for his crimes or prefers that he go free? Huh? Scotty objects, but the prosecutor says that he needs to determine if she’s a hostile witness. Alexis says as an officer of the court, she wants to see justice done above all else. He asks about her meeting Olivia-J. She tells them about Olivia becoming her sponsor, and he asks if she had Olivia at her home at the same time as Julian. He asks if Julian didn’t encourage her having him as a sponsor over a stranger, as is the usual procedure with the program. She says he did, and the prosecutor asks if he ever said she was his sister, or did he conceal the fact that a psychotic criminal was in her life, and nearly killed her daughter?

Elizabeth asks Jared if he wants her to call Hayden. He says that he doesn’t want to bother her; he just wants to drop off a card. He asks that Elizabeth makes sure she gets it stat, adding isn’t that how they say asap around here? Elizabeth makes the same face I’m making as he leaves. Seriously, this guy is just not working. They need to either get rid of the character quickly or find another actor.  I can’t even accept that Hayden would have married him for money.

Hayden tells Finn that she just wanted closure. Finn gets it, and says that he would have respected her wish to go on her own – eventually. She’s like, exactly. Finn says that he spent so much time lying and covering things up when he was using, he doesn’t want there to be any more secrets. He’s there for her, and can handle anything she throws at him. Elizabeth comes in and Finn leaves. Elizabeth asks if Hayden is feeling better, and gives her the card, saying it’s from an old friend, but she didn’t get his name. When Elizabeth is gone, Hayden calls Jared a jerk, and looks at the card. I don’t catch exactly what it says, something about hope nothing ruins your big day, and Jared signed it. I do wonder if that’s the card Finn lost. Otherwise, why would he have even said anything if it wasn’t going to come up later? Hayden rips it up and throws it in the trash.

Valentin tells Ava that he can make arrangements, but she asks why she can’t do it herself. He says that she needs his referral. He tells her that they can perform miracles, and she doesn’t have to live like this. She tells him that the price he’s asking – letting him get away with murdering Nikolas – is too high. Valentin says that he hopes she changes her mind.

Molly is bummed that one of the professors she wanted is on sabbatical. She looks through the roster, and the only other one who does the class is – she stops and stares at her tablet. Kristina asks who’s teaching, the Marquis de Sade? Molly says it’s a visiting professor – Parker.

Scotty objects, due to the answer being speculation. It’s sustained. The prosecutor asks Alexis how often she saw Olivia as a sponsor, and as time went on did she suspect Julian was hiding something as time went on? She says yes. The prosecutor (whose name I wish I knew, so I wouldn’t have to keep typing prosecutor) says it was mere months after he held knife to her throat. Scotty objects, but that one is overruled. Alexis says yes, and he asks about Leo being rushed to the hospital. Alexis says it was a staged incident to warn Julian. The prosecutor (sigh) says that once he had proof that Olivia was a threat, did he warn her? Alexis says no. He asks if at any time before she was taken hostage did he tell her the truth. Again, she says no.

Back at the apartment, Ava says she appreciates what they tried to do. Kiki says it was a disaster, and Ava jokes that it didn’t kill her, so it must have made her stronger. She tells Griff that he’s been kind, and actually a little annoying. She’s going to look at the books, and either learn something or fall asleep, so it’s a win-win. She tells them she’s kicking them out now. Kiki asks about Valentin, but Ava says he apologized for Charlotte. She tells them that she feels better than she expected. When they’re gone, she takes her mask off.

Finn approaches Elizabeth at the desk. She calls him Dr. Finn, and he tells her since they’re practically family, just Doctor will do. He thanks her for being Hayden’s maid of honor, and she says it’s her pleasure. He says if it wasn’t for her, he wouldn’t be getting married; she didn’t go to Monica when she found out he was an addict. Elizabeth tells him that she’s looking forward to having him as a brother-in-law.

Hayden calls the bank. She says she has adjustments to make with a new account that was set up.

The prosecutor goes on about how Olivia left Sam to give birth under a bridge, and that’s when Alexis and Jason realized the connection, and went to the police – without Julian’s help. He asks if, at this late juncture, Julian even left a hint or clue. Alexis says that he didn’t, and the prosecutor asks if he’d been honest at any time, would she have wound up on a bridge, fighting for her life? Scotty objects, saying that answer requires a crystal ball. Alexis says she doesn’t know. The prosecutor asks if Julian was covering for Olivia, and if he was an accomplice in her actions. Alexis says that Olivia was coercing him, and tries to talk, but the prosecutor talks over her. He asks if it could have been prevented, and she says maybe.

Griff and Kiki stand in the hallway in front of Ava’s door. Griff asks how long they’ll be hanging out, and Kiki says she’s worried. Her mother used to be indestructible, and now she runs away when a child cries. Griff says recovery takes time; she has to make a new life. Kiki asks how, and he says ultimately, that depends on the choices she makes, and the life she decides to live.

Ava looks in mirror. She ponders for a while, and takes out Valentin’s card. She puts it in a box.

On the phone with the bank, Hayden uses name Rachel Berlin. Finn is standing in the doorway.

Tomorrow, Julian says it’s enough, Jason asks Sam if they agree it’s the best solution, and Nathan asks Dante if they’re closing the book on his father’s shooting.

New York Takes Paris

Ryan’s easy listing turned out to be not so easy. The seller wanted a bidding war he didn’t get, and Ryan had to tell the potential buyer he made a mistake in underpricing. He rallied though, telling the broker that either he could tell his clients about the acceptable price, or never call him again. I’ll leave out some of the other words he used. He got the deal done, and the risk worked. He decided he wanted to buy a brokerage in Brooklyn and expand. His goal is to go nationwide. Amelia thought it was exciting, but tough, because she’ll have to sacrifice more time with him. He suggested they start making time by her joining him in Paris.

While Fredrick showed the Kravitz Nolita project in Paris, the developer hassled him about not having enough people at the showing. The penthouse is five grand a square foot, which, even for NYC, is quite high. Steve made a deal for an apartment in Fredrik’s building, but the buyer wanted the seller to pay the taxes (around $70K). The best the seller would do is go halvsies. Fredrik freaked and got all emo when he found out that Steve was having lunch with his developer. He ran away like a baby, even though Steve’s buyer agreed to the deal. Steve is also building his team in NYC. Fredrik admitted his problem wasn’t entirely about the real estate, but meeting Derek about baby news. The news was good though, as Derek brought along a sonogram of baby A and baby B. We’re having twins!

Ryan described Luis’s Paris apartment as both new and modern, like Luis is, and antiquey, like his brain is. His place was really adorable and oh, so French. The ten foot windows were especially impressive. Fredrik joined them, and called it a Parisian penthouse dream. Ryan asked if Luis found what he’s looking for, saying it took cojones to pick up and leave NYC. Unfortunately, Luis isn’t happy. He wonders where he’s going, and said if there’s no goal or objective in your life, there’s no purpose. Ryan told him that’s something he had to find out for himself, and if he hadn’t done it, he would have regretted it, and Luis conceded that he did learn something. Ryan suggested he come back and sell real estate. There was a group bro hug, and Ryan compared them to The Golden Girls.

Fredrik reached his goal of nine sales, including the penthouse, and his 40th birthday celebration rounded out the trip. Dinner was in a room that looked out on the Eiffel Tower. Steve was unsure about coming, but showed, and Fredrik apologized for overreacting. Steve told him that the lunch didn’t feel right, and his friendship was more important, so he canceled it. Fredrik decided the baby news should be kept between him and Derek for now, and everyone ended up dancing on the rooftop. Where the sophisticated group ended the evening with a cake fight. Fin.

General Hospital

Olivia-F-now-Q presents cannolis to Dillon and he’s impressed. She’s impressed with the kitchen at the Quartermaine mansion. Monica wants a word with her.

Hayden says they’re taking their first vacation to Zanzibar. She says it will be amazing and just what they need, getting as far away as possible.

Michael hasn’t had any sleep. Nelle asks if he’s okay, and he says he’s been here before. Nelle asks if Sonny has a habit of getting ambushed and shot, and Michael is like, sorta. She tells him that Sonny’s call would have been closer if not for Josslyn’s friend. Michael wonders why a shell casing necklace, and Nelle thinks that Oscar didn’t know what it was. Michael hopes it was a friendship bullet casing necklace since Josslyn is too young to date. Carly comes by and gives Michael the good news that Sonny is safe.

Even though she doesn’t want to, Josslyn tells Oscar that she has to give the necklace back to him.

Jason finds Sam’s room empty. Deanna wonders where she went.

Sam tells Sonny that the doctors say she’s going to recover, but parts of her mind are a blur, and what she remembers doesn’t make sense. Sonny says they’ll figure it out together – before she shoots someone else the way she shot him. Way to drop that bomb.

We hear a bunch of crashing and banging. Cook is laying waste to the kitchen. Monica says she guards her territory like a well-trained attack dog. Olivia says the kitchen is the heart of the home, but Monica says at the mansion, it’s cook’s domain. She says it should be a nice break to have someone else do the cooking, but Olivia says not for her. Monica suggests she feed her soul at the MetroCourt. Monica tells her not to feel bad, since she’s not allowed in kitchen either. Olivia says she’ll never be a part of the family.

Finn doesn’t know if he can take off work, but Hayden says that Monica owes him. He says she saved his job. She says soon they’ll be consumed with wedding prep and then she’ll be too pregnant to do any prep. She says this will be their last chance in a while to get away. Finn asks if she’s feeling all right. She says she’s just excited, and it’s the best thing for them. Finn says he’s in under one condition – they make it their honeymoon

Josslyn explains to Oscar that she loves the necklace. It’s awesome, and no one has ever made anything for her before. She thinks it’s special. He asks why she has to give it back. She says her mom will get the wrong idea and flip out. She tells him it was made from a bullet.

Carly says Sonny is almost back to his old self. Nelle excuses herself to get back to work. Carly says she couldn’t have found Sonny without Nelle’s help.

Sam tells Sonny that bits and pieces are coming back, but she doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and not. He tells her it’s okay. She says he’s part of her family, and she’d never want to hurt him. Sonny says it’s not her, the same way it’s not him when he’s in a manic episode. She says it means she’s really sick, and what else is she capable of?

Dillon doesn’t know how Ned doesn’t weigh 5000 pounds, and Ned says restraint. He told Michael he’d help him out, but he’s having trouble with the ELQ numbers. He thinks the company needs to refocus. Dillon says he’s investing a lot of time for someone who doesn’t work there much. He wonders if he’s angling for Michael’s job, but Ned says he has no desire to run the company. Dillon says it’s who he is; he’s a player. He asks how long Ned is going to pretend he doesn’t want to play.

Hayden says the trip is in 36 hours, and Finn says if it’s going to be a honeymoon, then they should get married now. She says they’ll have to kiss a big wedding good-by. He’s like, oh, no. She asks if he’s 100% sure. Finn didn’t think it was possible for him to be sure like that again, but it is. As far as he’s concerned, the sooner they get started, the better. Hayden can’t wait. Jared is at the door, saying he can’t either, and asks wait for what?

Carly says if Nelle and Michael hadn’t put everything together, she wouldn’t have found Sonny. She wonders how they got the shell casing to begin with.

Josslyn tells Oscar it’s a bullet casing, technically a leftover, but he didn’t know that. She says they were walking around while Sonny was in the pit waiting for someone to save him. Oscar says it all worked out, and Josslyn says no thanks to them, but he says if she hadn’t agreed to come out, he wouldn’t have found the casing. If that hadn’t happened, her stepdad wouldn’t have been saved. He says she has to keep it. It’s her reward for being a hero.

Sam asks Sonny to walk her through what happened. He’d just found out where Spencer was when she showed up. She says it’s like she’s watching it happen to someone else. She says she was terrified the whole time. She started seeing him and he was telling her he was taking Jason away. She’s never felt that way about him. He tells her she was sick. She says she’ll never understand it. She starts to cry. He says it was obvious something was wrong and he tried to talk her down. She says she kicked him into that hole, and walked away leaving him to die.

Monica tells Olivia not to be absurd. Olivia says she still feels like a guest. Monica says believe it or not, she felt that way once. Olivia asks how she handled it, and she says she learned to talk back. Olivia says she has no problem with that, but Monica tells her that the Quartermaines converse by arguing; fighting is love. She tells Olivia not to try to get along to get along.

Jared calls Hayden “Rachel” and asks if this is the famous Finn. He introduces himself as Adam Green, and says that he and Hayden go way back. Finn asks how so, and Jared says they used to be married – she was his work wife in another life. He’s in town to do some debt collection business. He asks how she is, and suggests they all have dinner. Finn says they have a lot to do before their trip.

Josslyn tells Oscar that he has to come up with what to tell her mom. He thinks she should hide the necklace until everyone forgets, but Josslyn says that he clearly doesn’t know her mom. He tells her to just keep it for her alone to see. Oscar says he owes her a sandwich, and suggests they split it there. Josslyn says it almost sounds like a date. He says he wanted to ask her out, but wasn’t sure, and asks what she thinks about going out with him?

Carly wonders how Nelle ended up holding a freshly shot shell casing. Nelle says a friend found the casing; he has a knack for turning junk into cool things. Carly says, so he took it home made it into a necklace and gave it to Nelle? She’d like to meet this friend. Michael encourages Nelle to leave for work. When she’s gone, Carly asks if Michael bought Nelle’s story.

Sonny says that Sam is his friend, and he loves her, but she says friends don’t do that. (Friends don’t let friends shoot friends.) He says that it wasn’t her, but Sam says she’s the one who pulled the trigger and shot him. She doesn’t know what’s happening to her right now. Sonny tells her that no one understands better than him what it’s like not to trust your own mind. He says she’s not like him; she’ll take some medicine and get better. Sam asks what if she doesn’t, and tells him she’s scared.  She kisses his hand and cries. Crap. She almost got me crying.

Sam tells Sonny that she doesn’t deserve to be let off the hook, and needs to take responsibility. Jason comes in, and Sam says Sonny told her what happened. Jason says she needs to rest, and Deanna, who has followed Jason, suggests they go back to her room. Sam tells Sonny how sorry she is. Jason stays behind, and thanks Sonny for understanding. Sonny says that Sam is going to feel so guilty, she might confess to the cops.

Michael asks why Carly is digging up more drama. He asks what she thinks, that Nelle shot Sonny, pushed him in a hole, and concocted the whole thing to be the hero? Carly says the story is neat, tidy, and random, but of course she’s grateful. She has to give credit where credit is due, and Michael says that’s why he loves her. She tells him to go, and she’ll watch Avery.

Jared says he’d love to hang, but if they’re going to Africa, they’re going to Africa. Finn says that he still has to ask for time off, and Hayden urges him go now. She asks Jared wth? He says nice getaway plan, like he wouldn’t be there when she got back, or was she planning on staying there? All she has to do is use her financial know-how to siphon money into his account, or he sings like a canary to Finn. Hayden says she trusts Finn, but Jared says what if he doesn’t survive?

Josslyn and Oscar talk about being friends, but Nelle interrupts. Oscar tells Josslyn to think about it, and scoots. Nelle tells Josslyn that he didn’t have to run off. Josslyn says it was Oscar, and Nelle asks what the deal is. Josslyn tells her that she can’t say anything, but he just asked her out. Nelle asks what she said. Josslyn says Nelle came along before she could answer, but she’s relieved. Nelle asks if that’s because she doesn’t know the answer or she does, and doesn’t want to hurt him.

Dillon says that ELQ fell into Michael’s lap, and if Ned wants it, he should take it back. It’s his birthright, and it’s not like Michael is doing a bang-up job. Ned tells him he’s out of his mind if he thinks Michael will hand over the reins. Behind that baby face is grandfather’s savvy. He’s not going to just let it go. Ned will have to out maneuver him.

Hayden asks if Jared is going to kill Finn. He says no, but he’s liable to kill himself. He’s an addict, and when he finds out his wife is a criminal, he’ll go back to using. Jared tells her time to get to work, and shows her the cuckoo clock GIF. I’m kind of weary of Jared already. I’m not feeling him as the somewhat amusing villain.

Monica asks if Finn if they’ve set a date yet, and he tells her day after tomorrow. She’s like, gee, why hesitate? Finn asks for time off, and she tells him to have a wonderful time. But now that she thinks about it…

Josslyn tells Nelle that she likes Oscar; he gets her, but according to Carly she’s too young to date. Nelle asks if she wants to go out with him, and Josslyn asks what Nelle thinks. Nelle talks about a boy she liked when she was Josslyn’s age. Their friends thought they should go out, but they had no idea what being boyfriend and girlfriend even meant. She wonders what her life would have been like if she’d had someone to go to for advice, and she could have taken time to figure things out. Michael joins them, and asks what he missed. Clearly, Ned should be in charge of ELQ, since Michael never seems to go to work.

Sonny tells Jason that Sam is fragile, and can’t go through all that. He says that he’s fine, and the reason he’s there is because of the Garvster. Jason says he’ll tell Sam that, and Sonny says he’s not going to tel Carly. Emotions are running wild, and Carly will go to Sam, wanting to know it from her end, and Jason says she’ll end up confessing to the cops. Sonny says as far as the both of them are concerned, it’s over and they move on.

Olivia tells Dillon and Ned that she tried to make peace with Cook, saying they’d finance a cookbook if she could share the kitchen, but it was a no go. Ned tells her don’t take it personally, and she tells them that’s what she said when she fired Cook. Who wants ziti?

Hayden makes up a new vendor, and sends a quarter of a million dollars to them.

Michael asks what Josslyn and Nelle were talking about. This is the nosiest bunch of people in the world. Josslyn says her ride will be there soon, and has to leave. Michael tells her that Carly was asking about the necklace. He and Nelle covered for her, but don’t make them regret it. Josslyn leaves, and Michael tells Nelle it seemed like they were talking about something important. She says it was – girl talk. He says then it’s not his business, and she tells him, exactly.

Sam asks Jason how could she do that? Jason says it’s okay; it was out of her control. She says she needs to take responsibility. Jason says if she turned herself in, it’s not going to help anyone. Certainly not their kids, or Sonny, who’s fine, and least of all, her.

Carly and Avery come into Sonny’s room. She didn’t want to sleep, so Carly thought a visit was in order. She asks if everything is all right. Deanna comes in, saying sorry for the intrusion earlier. Carly asks what happened, and Sonny says that Sam wanted to visit. He tells Carly that she’s going to make full recovery, and Carly says like he is. Sonny tells her that everything is going to go right back to the way it used to be. Hmm… would that be before or after he decided to leave the business?

Tomorrow, Jared tells Hayden that she has a big problem, Finn asks Curtis to stand up for him, and Stella sees something that makes her go OMG!

The Haves and the Have Nots

When we last left, Landon had followed Jeffrey into his hotel room like a lost puppy, and there was Justin, nakey in bed.

A body was also dumped on the street with a note that says, Jennifer Sallison – Cryer Victim.

Jeffrey tells Landon he needs to leave. Landon recognizes Justin as a cop, and says if he was wrong about him, maybe he’s wrong about Wyatt. Jeffrey says he’s a friend. Landon says he’s excited and gonna get some, and refuses to leave. He says they’ll do what they always do, and Jeffrey says they don’t do anything, and he didn’t invite him up there for sex. Landon crawls across the bed and Justin grabs him by the throat. Jeffrey drags Landon off the bed, and gets him out the door. Landon keeps saying, weird, even though he’s the one behaving weirdly. I’m totally surprised at his behavior. No more for him. Ever.

Jeffrey tells Justin to get out. Justin says he came there to see him, but Jeffrey says he was not invited. Justin won’t leave until Jeffrey tells him who Landon is, but Jeffrey says he doesn’t owe him anything. Justin says he fell for Jeffrey, and he’s in love with him. Jeffrey says they just met, but Justin says he thinks about him day and night, and now he comes in with that guy. He keeps asking who Landon is, and Jeffrey asks if he’s going to attack him again; he has that look in his eyes. Justin says no, and Jeffrey tells him to leave then. Justin says Jeffrey is a therapist, why doesn’t he help him? This is news to me, since I didn’t even know Jeffrey had a job. He asks what Jeffrey has done to him; he wasn’t like this until Jeffrey came along. Jeffrey says that Justin was in the back of his patrol car having his way with prisoners, and Justin says he never enjoyed it until Jeffrey. Jeffrey says he’s always enjoyed it; he’s just never going to admit it. He asks Justin to leave again, and Justin says he loves him. Jeffrey says he doesn’t know him, and to go home to his wife. Justin says he doesn’t know anything except that he loves Jeffrey. Jeffrey says if Justin doesn’t leave, he will. Justin thinks Jeffrey wants him to attack so he has a reason to leave. He lets Jeffrey go, and says go to him, meaning Landon. Or maybe Wyatt. I don’t know.

When the door opens, there’s Veronica with her phone camera. She walks through the room, filming everything, including zooming in on a condom on the nightstand. Jeffrey is like wth? stop it, but she says nothing and just continues. When they’re out of the room, Justin throws a chair, breaking a mirror.

Oscar meets with Jim at the hotel. He has a number for War. Jim wants to talk to him. Oscar says he needs twelve minutes for a trace, but if Jim spooks him, they’ll lose him. Jim says just give him the phone.

Erica checks on a sleeping David, and calls War from the bathroom. She says that Candace is at the hotel. War says she’s not going anywhere, since they’re looking for her everywhere. Erica asks if she should call the cops, but War says no, that bitch is his. She says Candace won’t give up her room number. She senses things, and is like a cat with nine lives. Jim calls, and War asks how Jim got the number. Jim doesn’t say, but tells War he has to meet with him. War tells Erica he has to call her back. Jim tells War it’s serous, but he can help him get out of the warrants that are out for him. War asks what he wants. Jim says he knows there are more pictures – he’ll take care of War and vice versa. War is like, no deal. Jim asks what happened to his code, and War hangs up on him. Oscar says he couldn’t get the exact location, just the general area. Jim says if he doesn’t find War, all hell will break loose. Oscar says it already has.

Jim asks what Oscar is talking about and Oscar brings up the news on his laptop. It’s a clip about the discovery of Jennifer’s body. Oscar says it’s everywhere.

Wyatt is sleeping, and there’s a knock at the door. Anna answers, and it’s Jeffrey. She asks if he wants to see Wyatt, but Jeffrey doesn’t want to wake him. She says Wyatt is a nice guy, and Jeffrey says he hasn’t seen the nice guy in years. He loves him, but isn’t in love with him. Anna doesn’t really care about any of that, and Jeffrey thanks her. She says she’s just doing her job. He says he owes Wyatt’s mother a phone call, and asks if he can tell her it’s going well.. Anna says yes, and Jeffrey leaves.

Oscar calls Anna. She says she doesn’t think she can help him; she’s not for sale. She says it’s wrong, and she doesn’t want to be a part of it. He asks her to think about it, and she tells him not to call again. Wyatt appears, and says whoever it is sounds jealous. She tells him Jeffrey was there, but Wyatt doesn’t like the look of sympathy he gets every time he sees Jeffrey. He says Jeffrey is in love with him, but Anna sees a friend who loves him. Wyatt thinks he wants to have sex. Anna doesn’t know about that, but thinks that Jeffrey has no conditions. Wyatt asks if the man on the phone has conditions. She says she doesn’t even know him; it was just a telemarketer. Wyatt says she’s lying, and if she’s going to help him, he has to trust her. He asks if it’s a boyfriend. Anna says no, but it’s personal. Wyatt thinks Dr. Jarvis is more than her boss, and it was him. She says he can try all he wants, but the guy on the phone isn’t worth mentioning. She asks what Wyatt wants to do. He tosses her the remote, and tells her to pick something. He says he feels a chick flick coming on, but she won’t give the remote back.

David asks who Erica was talking to. She says she called room service, but David isn’t hungry. Not for food anyway. She’s wearing his shirt, and shows him the lingerie underneath. He thanks her for dealing with his situation, since she said she didn’t do crazy exes. Erica says his is fun; she’s extra, and dramatic. He says soon to be ex, and Erica says not soon enough. David’s phone rings. It’s Jim.

Jim asks where he is and David tells him the Artisian. Jim tells him that they have a problem, and he’s there now. David says he’s on his way down. He tells Erica it’s business, and they agree to meet later. She wants to stay dressed like this, and he says it will give him something to hurry back to, but he needs his shirt. I can’t tell what her deal is, or if she really likes him or not.

Mitch calls Veronica. When he tells her that his last name is Malone, she says he has her interest. He says that he’s a friend of Benny’s, and he needs a lawyer. She wonders if he doesn’t have one already. She tells Mitch that she’s seen Benny once and is going to again. She’s in the parking lot, and Mitch says he’ll meet her.

Hanna asks Mitch if he knows what’s going on with Benny and if he’s been in touch with a lawyer. Mitch says he has one and he’s meeting with her. Hanna and Kathryn wonder who it is, and Veronica joins them, saying she is. Hanna is like, hell no, but Veronica says that’s no way to talk to her saving grace. Kathryn says she’s the best, and sometimes the devil you know is better than the one you don’t. Veronica asks if she’s met Mitch Malone. Kathryn is like, well now, since she hadn’t known Mitch’s last name. Hanna insists that Veronica is not Benny’s lawyer, but Kathryn says she can’t hurt anything and let her do it. Hanna wants to know where Benny is, and Veronica says she has to ask nicely. Hanna says that she’s not asking Veronica’s Black ass anything. Veronica says he was brought in on murder charges, but the Secret Service got involved. Mitch asks her to get Benny out. Veronica says Hanna has to ask nicely, on her knees. Hanna tells her to go to hell. Kathryn tells her to get Hanna in there, since she doesn’t want truths told. Veronica says she has truths of her own – bang, bang. Mitch tells Veronica that he and his family would be appreciative if she gets Hanna in to see Benny. Veronica says that’s the way to ask, and she’ll see what she can do. Mitch tells them she’ll take care of it.

Agents Vince and Harris go in to see Benny. They want a DNA sample to exclude him from a terrorist investigation. He says he has nothing to do with that. Vince asks if he knows Mitch Malone. Benny says he’s known him a long time. Vince says his family is being investigated for organized crime tied to a Syrian terrorist operation. He asks if Benny wants out, and says that if they get his DNA he can leave. Benny is like, hell no, this is America. Vince tells him that he has no choice. He’s in the arms of Homeland Security, and he can give it or they can take it. Benny agrees to have his blood taken.

David joins Jim and Oscar, and Oscar shows him the news. Jim says he thought David had handled this. He asks Oscar to excuse them, and Oscar steps away. Jim says Mama Rose did this because War took a potshot at her grandson. He can’t find War, and he’s pissed. David calls Oscar over, and he says that he had War on the phone, but they lost him. Jim says this is bad. They’ve been through a lot, but this is bad. When Rose is upset, everyone is upset. David says they have a good relationship, but Jim says she’ll hang him in the freezer; they’re talking about real war. Jim talks about her taking out an entire housing project – everything that moved, dead. David says they helped her get out of that mess. Jim says it’s them that got War out of jail, but maybe they can do damage control. David says it’s already started. Jim says Kathryn won’t take his calls, and asks David to call, but he gets voicemail. Jim yells at Oscar to just find that kid.

In her hotel room, Candace is on the phone, telling someone that she didn’t cancel her phone number. Charles walks in, and tells her to get a new one, but she says it’s not going to help with her contacts. He says she doesn’t need those people anymore. She wonders about her son, and he suggests she call her mother since she has custody. Candace doesn’t like the situation, and Charles asks if it’s because he has the upper hand. She tells him this is illegal. He says everything is accessible, and she should be more careful. She complains about being treated like a prisoner. He tells her the phones have been destroyed, and a new start isn’t such a bad thing, but she says that she doesn’t want one. He asks how often you get a chance to wipe your past clean, and she says that people have memories. He says not about things they don’t want aired. She asks what the plan is, but he doesn’t have one; he just wants to give her a new start. She asks why, and he tells her so that she can be around him when he becomes President. He says the bubble is small, and he wants her on the list. She tells him it’s crazy, and he asks if she doesn’t want a do-over and to be respected. She thinks it can’t be done, but he says look at him. He was plucked from military, sent to college, and groomed for this day; all his past went away. She thinks it’s unreal, but he says it’s politics; take the reset and enjoy it. She’ll get to be one of the President’s regular women. He’s going to clean her up and make her able to pass; he’s been looking for someone like her. She asks if she’s his project now, and he says he really likes her. He tells her to go to school and get a real degree. They can make that happen, get her a house, put her up, and make her strong and independent. She’ll have power. She wonders why her, and he says he wants her, asking if she isn’t tired. Wouldn’t it be great to rest, and not look over her shoulder all the time? Candace says if she agrees, he’ll own her. He says that’s not how it works, just stay straight, and they’ll take care of each other. Candace doesn’t want to be a number. Charles says she’ll be the only one, but she wants to be First Lady. He says that’s not going to happen. She asks what happens if she says no, and he tells her that she goes back to her old life. He says there is one matter – a murder and a body. It’s too public, and someone has to take the fall. She asks if he can make that happen, and he says it’s being done now. Her brother is in custody. He tells her that there are casualties with this life. She’s horrified at the idea of giving up her brother, and Charles says it’s her choice.

Next time, Hanna visits Benny, War says he’s coming to get Candace, Justin tells Veronica that she has no idea what he’s capable of, and Kathryn says he could use a man like Mitch.

Below Deck Mediterranean

Adam tells Wes he doesn’t care what happens between him and Malia, but he has proof she’s a liar. It’s been weighing on his shoulders because he likes Wes, and Malia is a heartbreaker. Right. Wes’s well-being is totally his main concern. Adam says the night that Wes and Malia kissed in the wheelhouse, she was texting him. He shows Wes his phone, and says he doesn’t want anything to happen to him. Wes feels like he knows who she is, but there’s another side he doesn’t know, and has to protect himself.

In her interview, Hannah says having a second stew lecture her about her work ethic is insulting. She’s going to show them how it’s done. In her interview, Lauren feels like she’s in the middle of everything, since she’s friends with both Bugs and Hannah. Adam just wants the last dinner finished.

Primary guest Jerry asks if someone can take the girls to shoe shopping, and Bobby volunteers. Jerry tells Hannah that compared to last year, she’s a better and friendlier version of a chief stew. Bobby takes the girls to shore. By dinnertime, they’re not back, and Jerry says it’s like herding cats with them.

Wes is confused, and says the texts have made things more complicated than they need to be. Jerry is tired of waiting for the girls. A few trickle in, but two got lost. Bobby is chatting with Paula, and she says they got separated. Jerry wonders why Bobby left two girls behind. Adam says he loves pissed off guests, but If I was an angry guest, the shrimp cocktail appetizer would definitely appease me. Jerry asks Paula what she likes about Bobby, since he’s not doing too well in his book right now. The other two girls arrive, and I lust after the croquettes. Jerry asks to talk to the captain.

Hannah tells Captain Sandy that Jerry is upset about something, and he tells the girls to keep quiet when he talks to her. He apologizes for waking the captain up, but he’s upset with Bobby. He lost a couple of girls, and left two behind. He didn’t mind the Tinder thing, but Bobby took Paula on a Jet ski date, and he feels like Bobby is taking over his role. He wants Bobby on anchor watch tonight. In her interview, Captain Sandy says they might be pitas, but they’re guests, so Bobby needs to get it together.

The guests are going out on shore for the evening. Jerry tells Bobby he’s cool with him having fun, but he crossed the line a bit. He’s disappointed, but still loves him, and wants him to come along. In his interview, Bobby says Jerry is separating him and Paula, since she’s staying on the boat, but wonders why he didn’t just take her with them. Um… because she has to leave super early? Bobby says he matched with her on the dating app before they were even on the boat. Bugs feels badly for him, but says he crossed a line and should know better, especially after Hannah and Jason. He says he’ll just be fake and get it over with.

The guests go to a bar. Bobby apologizes, and Jerry says they all make mistakes. Next is a dance club. Hannah says it’s a lot of work, but she’s going to prove she’s one of the best chief strews in the industry. How? By drinking the guests under the table?

Wes wonders how you can build a relationship when you can’t trust someone. Well, you can’t.

Jerry tells Bobby that it’s too bad Paula’s not here, just to rub it in. At 3 am, everyone goes back to the yacht. Jerry tells Bobby to get the girls in the hot tub or no tip. Jerry starts to fall asleep in the hot tub, by himself, waiting. Max says people who drown in hot tubs don’t leave good tips, so they wake him. At 4 am, it’s time for Paula to leave. Bobby walks her to the taxi, and tells her tonight was a disaster. They kiss good-by.

Captain Sandy asks Bobby if they let up on him, and he says more or less. She says the good news is, it’s over. The crew gets in their dress uniforms to bid adieu to the guests. Jerry says it’s been a pleasure, but sometimes the actions of one have consequences for the many. A-hole. I hate when these people act like that. He says that’s not how he rolls though, making me dislike him even more. He tells the captain that he’s taking care of them. He also has an MVP tip for Hannah.

Hannah decides to split the tip, even though she doesn’t have to. It’s $20K, plus $4500 from Hannah (that was very generous of her), making it $2200 each – the best all season. Bobby is thrilled, but glad it’s over. Captain Sandy tells them when they’re done flipping the boat, she’s taking everyone out to dinner.

Hannah tells Lauren that the MVP tip was like a big f-u for Bugs. Bugs and Malia gossip about Hannah. The boat is squeegeed and fluffed, and everyone gets ready. They go to a barbecue place where the food looks phenomenal. Wes thinks he and Malia have a connection, but there are a lot of questions. The captain tells them that they came through shining with every challenge. Max informs everyone that the lamb was probably running around someone’s garden a few hours ago, making me glad I don’t eat lamb. Captain Sandy tells them have a good time and don’t wake her when they come back. Max thinks if she was any more laid back, she’d fall over.

The drinking commences. Hannah tells Bugs that she wanted to touch base. She finds it interesting that she’s had zero guests complain, but Bugs thinks she and Lauren worked harder than she did all season. She says it’s more than putting knives and forks down. Bugs says the whole crew felt the same way, and Hannah says she said something kind of late.

Bugs runs to Wes and complains about Hannah. Hannah tells Lauren that according to Bugs, she’s been talking sh*t about her. Lauren says that Bugs has been trying to brainwash her. Bugs sits down at the table, and repeats what Lauren has said. We flash back to her saying it. Lauren says that she values Hannah’s friendship, and she’s the only person she’s going to keep in contact with. She tells Bugs not to drag her into it. Hannah tells Bugs not to take a second stew job if she wants to be chief stew. Bugs has enough, and leaves.

Wes tells Malia about the texts that Adam showed him. Then says something I can’t understand, because he’s nearly as bad at enunciating as Max. Malia explains that she knew Adam before the charter, and Wes asks if anything happened then. I have to mention that the outside area is absolutely beautiful. Lots of greenery and twinkling lights. Malia says she had nothing physical going on with Adam, and that’s probably why he’s upset. She says they thought it would be best to keep it a secret from the rest of the crew. She says Adam isn’t the kind of guy she would be with, and she’s enjoyed getting to know Wes. Wes says he’s happy because he’s an idiot. She as if she’ll see him after the charter, and he says yes because he’s stupid. They kiss in the parking lot. She says he’s a gentleman, and he tells her that chivalry isn’t dead.

Everyone goes back to the boat, and pizza is brought out. Hannah and Adam talk on the deck, while the others watch in the galley. Adam tells Hannah about he and Malia getting their certifications at the same time. In her interview, Hannah says that she’s understanding why Adam is messed up. He thought the relationship would be cemented on the charter, but instead, Malia played tonsil hockey with her boss.

Malia tells Wes that Adam said he loved her after only four days. This doesn’t surprise me, since he seems emotionally immature. In his interview, Wes says there’s probably more to the story. Adam tells Hannah that he feels like an idiot, but she says that Malia fooled everyone.

It’s the final day of charter, and it’s gorgeous out. Malia wants to talk to Adam, but he’d rather not. She says that she liked him in the beginning, but got to know him, and feeling changed. She says she was wrong to text him, but was intimidated to call him out. He says she’s making a good decision then. She says it was a big mistake not coming to him earlier. In his interview, Adam says it proves she’s in the wrong, and making a last-ditch attempt to make herself feel better. He says he has zero respect for her, and she says the feeling is mutual, because they’re both twelve. She tells him to f-off, and he says alrighty then.

Adam rolls up his knives. Max says it’s like his family, and it’s heartbreaking. Bobby says he felt like an outcast, and if it wasn’t for Max, he would have left. Max is thinking about getting home to his chick, but won’t forget his bromance. Hannah thanks Lauren for working so hard. In her interview, Lauren says she knows that you can’t please everyone, but wishes she’d take her own advice. Adam tells Wes that he has one last thing to say on an honest level, and tells Wes that he and Malia hooked up before the charter. Wes says he thought that there was something between them, but he sees that she was keeping up with two people. In his interview, he realizes that you can’t mix bus with pleasure, and at the end of the day, she’ll have to seek him out if she wants to continue. Adam is sorry they didn’t get to be better friends.

Bobby tells Hannah that he hopes she accepted his apology. She says it killed her when he got so angry with her. He doesn’t want anything bad between them. Hannah says that she might be a hard bitch, but she’s always there for her friends. Bobby says they’ll be friends, but it won’t be the same as before the season. Bobby and his tattoos leave. Adam enjoyed working with Bugs, and tells her she should be a chief stew. Adam says Hannah and he genuinely hated each other, but now they’re friends. He tells Captain Sandy that he would have cracked if not for her. He’s learned a lot of lessons, but his main takeaway point is that he should read the preference sheets.

Adam leaves without saying good-by to Malia. Wes tells her what Adam said about them having a physical relationship Malia is like what? and he says it is what it is. She says at least Wes is a good guy. In her interview, she says that whenever Adam has a chance to be a stand-up guy, he isn’t. Hannah says her good-by to Bugs, and says it’s what it should be – good-by, see ya later, f-off. Hannah tells Malia it’s been an interesting season. We see a clip of Malia motorboating Hannah, and in her interview, Malia says that they don’t know how they feel about each other, and it’s awkward.

Wes tells Malia that everyone tried to warn him about her, and he’s annoyed she played him and Adam. She tells him that he deserved better, and he says it was his conscious decision. They kiss good-by. In his interview, Wes says that he can’t change what happened, but knows he likes Malia, and maybe they can explore the relationship further because he’s a total moron. He says if it’s meant to be it will happen, and if not, they had a good run.

Wes says good-by to Captain Sandy, who thinks that he’s an amazing asset, and is proud of him. Hannah thanks the captain for changing her mind about captains. Captain Sandy says she’s been in the business a long tiem, but never had a chief stew like Hannah. She did the best she could do, which is all she can ask. I have no idea what all that means, since I could take it two ways. Hannah tells us that she’s going to need therapy now to work out what happened.

No preview, but this was the finale, so I assume next time, it’s the reunion.

General Hospital

Ava downs a martini, and looks at herself in a hand mirror. There’s a knock at the door. She tells them to go away, but it’s Kiki. Ava tries to get her to leave, but she won’t. Ava opens the door, and says Kiki has done her good deed now, she can go, but Kiki says she’s not going anywhere.

Hayden calls Finn saying she’s up to her ears in paint swatches and fabric samples, but she’s really at the prison seeing her father.

Sam dreams about shooting Sonny. She tells herself it has to be a dream. Finn asks if she’s ready for good news, but he can tell there’s something wrong.

Sonny also dreams about Sam shooting him. Jason sees Carly in the hallway. She asks why he still looks worried and he says that Sam can’t shake her bad dreams. Dante joins them, and says he has to follow up with Sonny. Everyone goes into Sonny’s room. Sonny tells them that he’s doped up and can’t feel his leg. Dante asks who shot him. For a guy who just had surgery and is supposed to be resting, there’s quite a crowd in there.

Kiki brought pizza, but Ava says she’ll have the guy at the liquor store drop off dinner. Kiki suggests a therapy group that Andre recommended, but Ava says it’s not going to change her face. Kiki asks how she’s going to heal inside if she doesn’t talk about it? She realizes that everyone is dealing with their own pain right now and doesn’t want to cause Ava any more, but thinks it will be a help. Ava says beauty comes from within, but it doesn’t change people flinching when they look at her. Kiki says she can still live her life. Just because it’s different, doesn’t mean it won’t be worthwhile; the group will make her feel better. Ava says another martini will make her feel better. Kiki tells Ava that if she wants to keep punishing herself, she won’t stop her, but when Ava leaves the room, Kiki calls Griff. She says it seems like he’s the only one who can get through to her mother, and asks if he can come by. He agrees.

Raymond Berlin comes into the visitor room. Hayden says that she didn’t think he’d agree to see her. He says he didn’t think she needed to see her old man behind bars. She says one minute she had a father, and the next, she didn’t. She compares it to how he must have felt when he found out that her mother was unfaithful. Raymond says he did what he always does when he’s disappointed – put up a wall. Hayden asks what changed? He tells her that he had time to think, and biology doesn’t change the time they had. It wasn’t all sunshine, but it wasn’t all bad. She’ll always be his daughter, and he’ll always be her dad. Hayden says that’s true. She has to ask him something, and needs him to be honest. She asks if there’s anything left from the hedge fund. He says she’s his daughter all right; she came for the money.

Sam tells Finn she feels fine, except for the dreams. He thinks that’s to be expected, and says that her white blood count is good, and the illness should be eradicated in a few days. He tells her that before she leaves, she’ll need a clean bill of health from Griff too. She asks if she’s still at risk mentally. This confuses me a little, since it’s not like Finn told her she has to see Andre before she leaves.

Sonny apologizes for being out of it. Carly says Dante can wait, but Sonny wants to continue and clear things up.

Ava asks if Kiki wants a drink or is she working tonight? Ava talks about how dedicated she is, but Kiki says nothing she can do will ever change what happened to Morgan. Ava says she’s proud of Kiki, but thinks she’s beyond Kiki’s capabilities. There’s another knock at the door, and Kiki says good thing she called in reinforcements then.

Ava tells Kiki that she had no right. Griff says she does, and realizes that Ava is overwhelmed, but says she can’t keep herself locked away. Ava asks what’s the alternative? If she’s going to open up to total strangers, there had be an open bar involved. Griff thinks she needs support, but Ava says that she has her brother. She tells Griff that thanks to the settlement, she never has to leave the apartment again, and it’s better for everyone. Griff says he almost bought it, but not quite. He says she’s afraid.

Hayden says that Raymond must have managed to hide something. He says sorry; there’s nothing left. Not one nickel. He says she sounds desperate, and she tells him that he has no idea. She explains about changing her name, and says she found a new life to go with it. Raymond says judging by the diamond on her finger, she pulled it off, so what’s wrong? She tells him about Finn, and how perfect he is. He loves her, wants to marry her, and they’re having a baby; she can’t lose him. Raymond asks why she would, and she says there’s a worm in the apple – Jared.

Finn tells Sam that she has a weakened resistance. She asks if the dreams that seem like memories are all in her head. He thinks that’s a question for Griff, but she wants help now. He tells her to let the meds work, and focus on recovery. When he’s gone, she takes her phone out. She sees a text from Molly about Sonny.

Dante asks Sonny if it wasn’t the Garveman who shot him, who else was there? Sonny tells him Garvey ambushed him, and he shot him in self-defense. Dante says Garvey had two bullet wounds, and asks if there was exchange of fire, and when did Garvey shoot him in the leg? Sonny says it was a blur, and the last thing he remembers is that Garvey shot him, and he shot back.

Ava tells Griff that of course she’s afraid. He would be too, if he looked like she does. She talks about children freaking out, and says the really good people go out of their way to smile, but she knows they only feel pity. She says sorry, but when you have no soul there’s nothing to say. Griff asks if she remembers their conversation at The Floating Rib. She says it was a lifetime ago. He tells her that she’d asked if there was any unforgivable sin, and that it’s despair, and denying everything God has given to you. He asks what’s worse, a few strangers turning from her, or her turning her back on God and all creation?

Hayden tells her father that Jared has given her a week. She says she’s the CFO of GH, and he wants her to pay him by siphoning off money. Raymond says she should be able to do that and wonders if she wants some tips. She tells him that she’d be stealing the money that Finn donated. She explains how Finn discovered a cure for Blackwood Syndrome, and that he could be a wealthy man, but gave the licensing fee to the hospital. She’d be betraying both him and the hospital that gave both of them a shot at redemption. A cuckoo clock sound goes off. It’s Hayden’s phone. Jared has sent a GIF of himself pointing to his watch.

Sonny tells Dante that he remembers getting the picture of Spencer from Garveytrain. Carly thinks Sonny should rest, and tries to hustle everyone out. Sonny asks how Sam is, and Carly wonders how he knows she’s been sick. He claims he heard them talking, and Jason tells him that she’s better, but still dealing with hallucinations. Sonny wants a minute alone with Jason.

Sam is trying to get out of bed, when Felix walks in and says, hey. She wants to find Jason. Felix says he’s been there 24/7 and has actually become a nuisance, so he’ll be back. He tells her right now she needs rest. She asks if Sonny has been shot, and Felix says just in the leg and they expect a full recovery, so not to worry. She says she won’t, and Felix leaves.

Ava goes to the hospital, but doesn’t want Kiki and Griff to act like it’s her first day of school. She starts to head toward the meeting room, and Sam sees her. Ava goes around the corner, and Sam follows.

Felix needs everyone to clear out of Sonny’s room, or Epiphany will call for back-up. Carly asks Dante to give Sonny some time to recover. She’s sure that once he’s not drugged up, he’ll be glad to answer questions. Dante is skeptical about that, but leaves. Jason comes out, and Carly asks what Sonny wanted.

Raymond tells Hayden that she could call Jared’s bluff, but she says he has nothing to lose and everything to gain. She says the worst part is that she brought it on herself. She did something wrong, and tried to cover it up – she really is his daughter. Raymond says that she seems genuinely remorseful and she says she wanted to make up for it, but if she’s exposed, she doesn’t see how that’s possible. Raymond tells her that she has two choices, buy Jared’s silence, or go to Finn, come clean, and hope he forgives her. Their time is up. Raymond says sorry it was so brief and so long in coming. No matter what, he hopes she’s happy. He made a mistake in looking for what he wanted in life, but she’s smart, and he knows she’ll succeed. She thinks he might be right.

Ava goes to the group, but no one is there yet. Sam startles her, and she says it’s usually the other way around lately. She tells Sam that she’d helped her find her mask, and Sam is glad that she didn’t imagine it. Ava says that Sam didn’t even flinch when she saw her, and she wasn’t expecting that. She’s surprised to see Sam up and around. Sam tells Ava that she’s feeling better, and Ava is glad to hear it, saying Sam wasn’t herself. Sam asks how, and Ava tells her that she blamed everything on Sonny, and said he was going to get what’s coming to him. She’d never heard her say anything against him before, but it sounded like he was her worst enemy.

Felix asks Sonny if he’s feeling any discomfort, but Sonny says he’s so doped up, he can’t even feel his leg. Felix tells him that Epiphany can’t wait to get him into physical therapy again, but it might be easier if he avoids getting shot in the first place. Maybe he can handle the wear and tear, but his family is another story.

Carly wonders about Sonny’s other enemies. She’s concerned that Sonny doesn’t remember that Jason has bowed out. Jason says he’ll get involved if he has to, and that he thinks Sonny is safe. He tells Carly to look after Sonny, and he’ll look after Sam, and it will all work out.

Sam asks Ava what it was she said exactly, and Ava tells her that it sounded like she hated Sonny. Sam says she doesn’t hate Sonny, and Ava says of course. They’re all part of a united front; all for one, and one for all, but perhaps it was her subconscious speaking. Maybe deep down she doesn’t like what Sonny does, and wants Jason to get out. Sam says that Ava doesn’t know anything about what she wants, and toddles off. Ava is like, wow.

Finn comes to Hayden’s office, where she’ looking over the hospital books on her laptop. He asks where the shopping bags are.

Jason asks Griff if Sam did something while she was sick that she wouldn’t normally do, if it could happen again once the infection is gone. Griff says they can run more tests, and weigh the options. Well, that was vague.

Ava starts to leave, and Kiki pops out of nowhere, asking if she’s going somewhere. She says that she thought she was ready, but she’s never going to be. Griff joins them, and asks how she’ll know that if she doesn’t try. Ava says the two of them won’t quit, and Kiki says she’s learning. Ava tells them that the first time she’s told to get in touch with her feelings, she’s leaving.

Hayden tells Finn that she thought they should make the decorating decisions together. So instead, she was looking through some vacation websites, and got two plane tickets to someplace far away.

Sonny asks if Felix has any more words of wisdom. Felix tells him it’s taking a toll on Carly, as well as his family and friends. He appreciates Felix speaking up. Felix turns the lights out, and Sonny slips into dreamland.

Calry thanks Felix for looking out for Sonny. Felix says he has to turn in Sonny’s clothing to the police, and wonders if he’ll want them back. Carly says they’re trashed anyway, so just burn them. Felix doesn’t blame her for not wanting any reminders, especially now that it’s over.

Jason finds Sam’s room empty.

Sonny dreams about Sam again. He opens his eyes, and she’s standing next to his bed. He asks what she’s doing there, and she says he’s still alive.

Tomorrow, Jared meets Finn, Olivia doesn’t think she can be part of the family, and Carly wants to know how the bullet casing was found.

Tamra and Shannon meet Meghan for lunch. Meghan has brought along baby Aspen, and introduces her cousin Bridget, who doesn’t stay and I don’t blame her. Shannon orders a drink, and Tamra says alcohol is your enemy when you’re trying to lose weight. Unless you’re an alcoholic and that’s all you consume. Meghan says thank God she has Bridget, since she’s overwhelmed. Shannon tells everyone for the thousandth time that she’s gained forty pounds and it’s Vicki’s fault. In her interview, Meghan says it was bad, but not forty pounds bad. Clearly there’s something else going on, like with her marriage.

Lydia and family are in Hawaii. She and Doug have been working hard on the magazine, and she thinks it’s important to have downtime. Because the kids have brought up the term “sexy lady,” thinking it means kissing a lady when you’re naked, Lydia thinks daddy should explain. Doug asks if they’ve heard the word “sex,” and if they know what it is. He tells them it’s something God created, and you do it in private. One of the boys tells him to move on with it (ha-ha – out of the mouths of babes), and Lydia says her mom explained nothing, and didn’t even buy her a bra. Doug explains that it’s something you do when you’re married, and in her interview, Lydia says they were both virgins when they got married and… well, you don’t need to know how great their love life is. God bless ‘em. They both seem like sweet people. Rare on a Housewife show.

Peggy tells son Koko that if she says no and dad says it’s okay, which is the right choice? That would be her. Smart kid. She’s cooking dinner, and tells us Armenian cooking is love, but she wants a chef. Gianelle has gotten into FIT (I think she said FIT, but definitely a fashion school in NYC), and Diko tells her he’s not paying for a penthouse. Peggy thinks they should celebrate, but he says it will have to wait until next weekend, since they’re getting a custom-designed Lamborghini this weekend. Tamra calls to announce Shannon is in the bathroom. Shannon apologizes for being reactive at the restaurant, but Peggy says she doesn’t owe her an apology. She invites them to the Lamborghini event. Shannon says if Vicki and Kelly are going to be there, she can’t come, because we’re in middle school. Peggy tries to say something, but Shannon steamrolls over her. In her interview, Peggy says that Vicki is her friend, and she doesn’t want to get in the middle. She says it was an a and b conversation and she c’d herself out of it. Diko is like omg.

Kelly drags her mom to the senior center to see director Celeste. She says her mom’s social life in Arizona was amazing, but now she just sits around. Celeste shows them the kilns and potter’s wheel, and I think of that scene in Ghost, but with old people. Kelly says the last relationship her mother had was with her father in 2002, and even if she doesn’t find love, she could use some companionship. Kelly tells Celeste that her mom is 68, but acts 100. Her mother says she doesn’t tell Kelly what to do, and they debate that. She feels like Kelly won’t let her relax. Kelly calls her frustrating, and her mom says she’s there; what more does Kelly want? In her interview, Kelly says she literally married her mother, since Michael doesn’t like to do anything either. Kelly pays dues for a year. Like her mom is going to go and play ping pong with a couple of codgers.

Vicki is getting stuff delivered for the office. She says everything she’s doing, is so she can sit back and hand Michael the baton. Some of her awards got broken in the move, and I feel for her. She says this office is the model for the franchise. She says she wants her family to reap the benefits of her hard work, and if Michael marries his girlfriend, he needs to do a prenup. In her interview, she says whatever the nup is, she’s nupping everything. She asks if they’re using birth control, and Michael says they don’t want kids right now. Geez, it’s not like he’s a kid.

Kelly thinks that she and Shannon could be friends, and that Tamra is the wedge between them. She believes she has a way, and doesn’t want to be an outcast like last year. She calls Tamra, who makes a face when she sees who it is, but tells her she’s unblocked. She asks if Tamra would like to have coffee. We see a clip of her mom advising her to go through Tamra first. Tamra says she never wanted to fight with Kelly, and has always been supportive, but it got weird. Kelly says she doesn’t want to go in a negative direction. Tamra is up for that, but immediately calls Shannon to tell her that Kelly called. She tells Shannon about Kelly not wanting negativity. Shannon goes blah-blah-blah, and brings up things Tamra doesn’t need to remember. In her interview, Shannon thinks maybe it’s best Kelly should meet with Tamra without plates flying in the air.

Meanwhile back in Hawaii, I cry because I wish I was there. Doug and Lydia have dinner. She wants to talk about how they should use their downtime. She thinks he should get a vasectomy, and a coconut falls. Please tell me that was editing. In her interview, Lydia says she doesn’t have time now with the kids she has. Lydia tells Doug she’s done, and asks if he is. She says he can put some sperm in the freezer in case something happens to her, and he meets some beautiful blonde. He grew up in a big family, and she understands why he’s hesitant. She says he’ll be her gelding, and he says he’ll think on that. First of all, it’s an in-office operation that’s a fairly quick procedure. It’s not like spaying a dog. And it’s also reversible. I used to work in a women’s clinic that also did vasectomies, but I can literally count on one hand how many we had in the two years I was there. Come on, guys, step up.

I have to admit, Aspen is a cutie. Meghan and Bridget go over some soap ideas. Jimmy and Meghan opened a candle store, and now that Aspen is here, she wonders what she got herself into. She says whoever said there’s a work/life balance didn’t know what they were talking about, because there is none. She was hoping Jimmy would stay home more after the baby was born, but he’s working more than ever. Jimmy comes in and fawns over the baby. Megan thinks one day he’ll come home and Aspen won’t know who he is.

Kelly thanks Tamra for meeting with her. She thinks if she can patch things up with Tamra, Shannon will follow. I dunno about that. Shannon can really hold a grudge. Kelly wants to out puppet the puppet master. In her interview, Tamra says as much as she doesn’t like Kelly, she feels sorry for her. Tamra tells Kelly that she doesn’t want to fight, but when pushed in a corner, her claws come out. We flash back to the apology after Ireland, and she says after that, all hell broke loose on social media. Kelly says it’s hard to control herself when things get heated, and Tamra wonders how they go forward. She tells Kelly that Shannon wasn’t pleased with herself and the way she reacted at the restaurant. In her interview, Tamra says Kelly is a lot like her; impulsive, but they get over things quickly. She apologizes for anything she engaged in, and Kelly just wants everyone to get along. Tamra asks what else Kelly has for her, and is probably sorry she asked when Kelly tells her about the vaginal rejuvenation. I’ll just leave the rest of that discussion alone, since we don’t need to revisit that.

Diko and Peggy get ready for the Lamborghini event. Ooh! One of the daughters has a long lace overdress (with an LBD underneath) that’s gorgeous. They all look amazing, but that style is a particular favorite of mine. Doug and Lydia join them at the event. Lydia says she doesn’t care about the car, but look at Peggy’s handbag! Lydia talks to Peggy about not wanting any more kids. In her interview, she wonders if they actually remove… oh, never mind. I’m finding it hard to believe adults don’t know how a vasectomy is done. Meghan and Jimmy arrive, sans baby, and Vicki and Steve follow. Apparently, there’s no grudge on Meghan’s part. In her interview, VIcki says Meghan looks like she just stepped off a runway, not like she just had a baby. There’s a drumroll, and Peggy reveals the new car. It’s taxi yellow. No. Just no. Doug asks Jimmy about being a new dad. He says it’s not exactly new to him, since he has a couple of grown children from another marriage.

Meghan talks about the Ireland trip, and discusses her genealogy research there. She says it was a fun trip until it wasn’t. Vicki says there’s no point in talking about it. Meghan is having a sip and see party, and invites the girls. Lydia is hesitant because Shannon and Tamra will be there.

Tamra and Eddie visit Shannon and David, since they’re not attending the Lamborghini thing. Tamra tells Shannon that Kelly has remorse and wants to meet with her. She thinks it should be before Meghan’s party, and she’s willing to go along. Shannon says the last time she and Kelly got together alone, it wasn’t good. Tamra tells her Vicki will be at Meghan’s party, and they can keep each other in check from the ones that make them see red.

Back at the car show, Lydia says she wasn’t mentally prepared for the restaurant debacle. Meghan starts talking about how Vicki hurt Shannon, and Vicki says they’ve all hurt each other. She explains to Peggy that there are unresolved issues among the ladies. Meghan thinks that Vicki should try to understand, and says that when they were in Ireland, they were getting along. Vicki says that she can’t be the only one to apologize, but Megan tells her that swallowing your pride can make you feel good, and that you can’t expect anything back from an apology. Peggy asks if Vicki has apologized, and Vicki tells her she has, many times. We flash back to those, and Vicki says she’s good. Peggy tells Meghan that the more you talk about something, the bigger it gets. Kind of what Erika from Beverly Hills said about Pantygate. Peggy tells Meghan to make duck lips, then puts her fingers like she’s holding them closed. She tells Meghan that she’s making everyone uncomfortable, and to zip it. Ha-ha! That stopped her running mouth. Meghan wonders what she’s missing, and why she has to be quiet. In her interview, Vicki says Peggy nailed it. Shut up, Megan. She’s over it.

Next time, Tamra asks Shannon if they should be fake, Vicki tells Peggy there are issues, Lydia is concerned about Shannon misbehaving at her party, and Kelly meets with Shannon.

🐮 It was the season finale for Sweet Home Oklahoma (sob!). Pumps got her new house, and for someone who couldn’t afford a house in the next neighborhood over, it’s big and beautiful. Jennifer picked out tiles for a decorating project, and called Lee a magnet to the bun when Josh got her to goof around, taking Instagram photos. Lee said she didn’t have high hopes for Jennifer’s Instagram with Josh being in charge of it, but his pictures ended up being fabulous. Josh has decided to keep the photography a hobby though, and go back to practicing law. Lee and Jennifer agreed they’ll miss Pumps because they like knowing where she is at all times. Jennifer thought they were going to need an army of movers, and a psychiatrist to find out why Pumps is hoarding. Lee claimed a dead person could be in the walk-in closet and they’d never know, and I had to agree. It was like an explosion of clothing, accessories, and random items in there. Pumps said they were acting like she’s going to Siberia, when she’s only moving five miles away. Tubby fell through the attic floor at Pumps’s new house, and in true dog fashion, freaked out everyone except for himself. In their interview, Jennifer joked that Pumps was trying to murder Tubby, and Pumps said it took a long time, but she finally did it. She’d planned it all out from orchestrating her divorce to buying the new house. Pumps told us the move was bittersweet, it wasn’t just leaving the neighborhood, but leaving the idea of the perfect family life, but she’s ready to make new memories. To assuage the grief of losing Pumps, Jennifer left her a housewarming gift – a topiary shaped like Tubbers, with its own service dog vest – a “tubiary.” I literally LOL’d – it really did look like him. Pumps’s dog promptly peed on it. I sincerely hope this show is renewed for another season. It’s heartwarming without being saccharine, and very funny.

The Shahs of Sunset

Reza and Adam fill out forms at a fertility clinic. Reza is filled with fears and questions. He notes that the doctor’s desk cost ten grand, and figures he’ll be paying personally for that. I understand this, having taken pets to the emergency vet, where they have a free latte machine and a concierge. They discuss surrogacy. The idea is to fertilize two eggs, one for each of them. Just in case you were wondering, they’d be twins. The price is between $120K and $160K. Reza nearly has apoplexy.

MJ visits Shams at the hospital. She tells him about going to Israel for a week. His advice is to find a Jewish friend. She isn’t thrilled about leaving him, but feels that life is telling her to go. She puts some pictures and handmade cards on the wall. She wants to make a baby Shams, who her father can see himself in. I hate to say this, but I’m not so sure that, even if she got pregnant tomorrow, he would be around to see the baby.

GG goes to dinner with new squeeze, and neighbor, Shalom. Her parents will be joining them. She’s so nervous she wants to fart, so only orders sake, which makes perfect sense. She tells us she rarely introduces a boyfriend to her parents, since she can’t see herself living out her life with most of them. We flash back to the losers she’s dated. She says it’s very different for Persian Jews and Persian Muslims to mix, so Shalom being Jewish is the only drawback. GG’s parents arrive. In her interview, she says she’s done a lot of things they haven’t approved of, but if they see something she doesn’t, she’ll never look back. Her mother is tickled that Shalom knows Farsi. Two seconds into the meal, GG asks her parents if it’s a yes, but some sake is spilled, taking the attention away. Her father gets all serious, and says she knows his opinion about her dating Jewish people – he doesn’t care. If she’s happy, it’s all good. Ha-ha! He reminds me of my father. When I was a teenager, I thought I’d test him by asking how he’d feel if I brought a Black boyfriend home. He didn’t miss a beat and said, it’s fine – as long as he’s Catholic. (He was kidding around. These days, I feel the necessity to point that out.)

Asa goes shopping for baby furniture. She talks about buying only organic cotton clothing for the baby – unless it’s really cute. Reza joins her. He zeros in on a crib that’s the color of a Mercedes. Asa shows him the mega-stroller she wants, and he tells her about the visit to the clinic and how babies are expensive AF. In his interview, he says he doesn’t have the need Adam does to have a biological child. He’s more interested in giving an already born child a home. He tells Asa about MJ being affected in the most unusual way with her pregnancy news. Asa says that MJ has been toxic lately, and Reza tells her that MJ thinks she puts on a façade that everything is perfect. Asa doesn’t want to focus on other people’s head trips they put on her. Far out, man.

Tommy looks up Israeli dress code for MJ, and it sounds like there isn’t one. MJ tells us they’re officially in baby-making mode, and every time she has to go to the bathroom, she uses an ovulation stick. We wait… It’s a no. She’s starting to wonder if she ovulates at all, but I think that’s a given if you haven’t been through menopause. In her interview, she says Asa got pregnant because she was supposed to have a baby, and the universe is telling her to get on that before it’s too late. She’s annoyed by the rule that when you have to do something, it doesn’t happen. I understand this, having needed to buy a dress for a wedding the day before. Any other time, I’d find a million things I liked, but not that day.

Mike’s brother, David, visits, bearing candy for the family members in Israel. Mike tells us that David is his hero, and helped him through the separation. His father told them that when he and his mother were gone, they would be all they had, and they live under the credo that family is everything. They also discuss wardrobe, and what Mike needs to bring, like a passport. In his interview, Mike says he’s been to Israel at different points in his life, and this time, he’s going as a single man seeking enlightenment. We see pictures of his various trips there.

Adam asks what kind of baby Reza wants, and he says a healthy one. Adam wants one that grows fast, so they can dress her up, and Reza tells him that it’s not a toy. I’ll bet that part is fun though. Someone is coming over to discuss adoption options. Adam wonders if he should offer them a drink, but Reza thinks advocating alcohol is a bad idea. He’s leaving for Israel the next day, but wants Adam to get a dose of reality. Reza says that Adam’s biological clock is ticking, but he’s thinking that it’s just the next phase of the relationship. The representative tells them there are 21,000 foster children, and 20% from the LGBTQ community. She says it’s especially hard to find teenagers homes. Reza tells Adam that they’ll love you just as much, and might even end up looking like you. In his interview, Reza tells us about how he knows of Persian families kicking their gay kids out, and how sometimes they end up dying on the streets. The rep tells them that the age range isn’t an issue on the agency’s end; they just want a family. Reza doesn’t want to push Adam, but wants him to understand why he prefers adoption.

Destiney has had a passport for years, but has never actually traveled, since she’s always working. She and Shervin share a limo to the airport. She asks him about Annalise, and if he’s being faithful. Shervin claims now that he’s older, he’s not as much of a playboy. Asa and GG take a car together. Asa says she misses Jermaine already. She says it might not seem prudent, flying for twenty hours, at 7½ months pregnant, but she’s going on a spiritual, peaceful pilgrimage for her and her baby. Reza and Mike also ride together. Reza says he doesn’t think there are a lot of gay terrorists, so he’s just going to go ♫ he-e-ey ♫ everywhere at the airport. In his interview, Reza gives us some travel tips – look expensive, so you don’t look like you want to die; befriend a TSA agent; and if your name is Mohammed, have your friends call you “Moe” at the airport. I’ll never understand how Reza’s stand-up act went so poorly. He’s a funny guy, and his delivery is perfection.

On the plane, Reza tells GG that whatever they went through, is behind them. I think he’s a little drunk, because he keeps repeating that he’s serious. In her interview, GG says it seems like yesterday they hated one another, and now they’re going to Israel together.

Fastest. Flight. Ever. And they’re already in the detention center. Reza calls it Argo-esque. Mike wonders how the only real Jew in the group is getting detained. MJ and Asa apparently escaped this, and are picking up their luggage. Mike is surprised they didn’t detain Asa, especially since he pointed out her “very Muslim” name. Asa tells MJ that it could be up to five hours. She thinks the two of them were friendlier. Asa points out the tons of balloons that are hitting the airport ceiling.

Destiney gets sprung, and joins Asa and MJ. She says interrogation like an MF, and they asked her about everybody – their names and what they did for a living. Shervin is next, and tells Mike to thank his people for letting him in before Mike. GG and Reza are left as Mike gets the all clear. MJ says she’d be nervous to be the last person left with GG. Reza says she’s a ticking time bomb, and he’s sitting next to the one person who could get him sent back. Geez, they don’t even have books with them, or tablets, or a magazine. Anything.

Mike says he pointed out that he’s been there many times, but they said not with these people. He jokes that he’s reached the maximum capacity of Muslims he can travel with. Reza feels like he’s been wandering the desert for forty years, when he and GG are finally let through. First stop, the hotel lounge.

Let’s just put it this way, it’s not your typical happy hour buffet. The appetizers look like something from a five-star restaurant. GG breaks a glass, and everyone yells L’chaim! In his interview, Reza tells us that Tel Aviv is someplace that Woody Allen would have hung out back in the day. I’m not sure why he comes to this conclusion, but he has a really hard time remembering Woody Allen’s name. They arrange to meet in an hour, and everyone freshens up. Adam FaceTimes with Reza, who tells him about getting detained. The gang gets into a bus/limo, and heads to a restaurant.

It’s dark and beautiful. And you can smoke. Asa is concerned about the baby, and decides to go back to the hotel. Reza asks Destiney what her type is. She says cute, which is both broad and vague. GG tells us that she loves Black guys. Mike tells us he’s not intimidated, because he has a humongous dool, but GG thinks not so much. Outside, MJ tells the girls she’s getting pregnant in a month. GG says she should get married first, but MJ claims it isn’t a bastard unless it’s born before you get married, and she’ll have that taken care of. Reza joins them, and says, who cares? MJ says that she does, and he tells her that she’s forty-four, and her chances of getting pregnant are like winning the lottery. In his interview, he says when you want to get pregnant, you do yoga, and don’t drink and smoke like prohibition starts tomorrow.

Dancing and drinking happens. MJ doesn’t care how long they flew, she doesn’t want tonight to be a dud. They bring new friend Shlomi back to the hotel. MJ keeps saying that she won’t be able to do this a month from now. Shervin has also brought a couple of girls back, and they play spin the bottle. Shlomi takes his pants off. I’m not sure why, but I think it’s part of a drinking/dare game. Reza gets out while the getting is good, and Mike also calls it a night. By the time everyone leaves, Destiny pronounces the room a pigsty. MJ says she’s all about living out her youth as far as she can; in a month, she might be stroller shopping.

Next time, a trip to the Western Wall, Asa wants to film the locals, and Reza wants to get the hell out of Dodge.

Meanwhile in Westeros…

👑 On Game of Thrones, Littlefinger whined to Bran that he wasn’t there for Bran’s mother when she needed him most, and gave him the dagger that nearly killed him as a boy. He promised to be there for Bran now, but Bran probably believed that as much as I do. Arya came back to Winterfell. She got all the feels, and OMG got a smile out of Sansa. They agreed that neither one of their stories had been pleasant ones, but it ain’t over yet. The sisters reunited with Bran, who continues to be zzzzzzzzzzzz… oh sorry, every time I say his name, I fall asleep. He gave Arya the dagger. Jon and Dany checked out the dragonglass mountain, and found hieroglyphics from the Children of the Forest, back when everyone was getting along, and they fought together. Jon told Dany that they have to do the same, because the struggle is real. She agreed to fight for the North… if he bent the knee. He explained that his people won’t accept a Southern ruler, but she said they would if he did, and asked if his survival was more important than his pride. Tyrion and Varys brought the news that Casterly Rock had been taken. Dany decided to fly her dragons to the Red Keep, but Jon told her if she used the dragons to get what she wanted, she’s no different than any of the other rulers before her.

Missandei wondered why Jon’s last name is Snow, and the bastard thing had to be explained to her, because they don’t even have marriage where she comes from. She told them about how Dany released her from slavery, and is the queen they chose. That idiot Theon made it to Dragonstone, but instead of slapping him silly, Jon told him that the only reason he’s not killing him is because of what he did for Sansa. Theon filled them in on what happened with the Greyjoy fleet.

The Dothraki tried to kick Jaime’s ass, with Dany, riding on Drogon, as back-up. She said, Dracarys! and it was all over with. Jaime made the soldiers hold the line, but it didn’t go too well for them. The Dothraki are awesome!  So are dragons. They tried shooting arrows at Dany on the dragon’s back, but got some dracarys for their trouble. That traitor, Bron, hooked up some big catapult weapon thing, and I was hoping that he got burned alive before he had a chance to use it. I’m going to have a heart attack yet over these dragons and direwolves. He hit Drogon, and I nearly had a freaking conniption. I hate Bron now, and want to see his head on a pike. Jaime went after Dany and the wounded dragon, but someone pushed him aside before he got crispied, and he fell into the water. I swear to God, I’m not watching this anymore if that dragon dies. I am so pissed. I don’t care who dies in this show, as long as the dragon lives. I don’t even know what’s happening next week. I was too freaked out.

⚛ A tiny side note on Talking with Chris Hardwick. Since I’ve been watching the Breaking Bad Sunday AMC marathons, I wanted to see the interview with Bryan Cranston. I missed the first half, but got in on the end. He’s another funny guy, and generous with compliments to his castmates. It’s worth mentioning that Aaron Paul, who played Jesse, was only supposed to be on a few episodes before he was killed off. That’s really the sign of a good actor – when they want to keep you on past your deadline. (I’ve previously applauded both Roger Howarth an Tony Geary for the same feat on daytime TV.) Bryan also gave us an interesting quote:

General Hospital

Calling from Nelle’s place, Michael wants Sonny’s people searching along the river front. Nelle asks if he’s okay, and he says he’s climbing the walls. She asks if there’s news, but he says nothing since Dante updated them. He doesn’t think his dad is dead, but maybe hurt or trapped, and the longer it takes to find him the worse it will get.

Jason talks to an unconscious Sam about Danny feeling Scout kick, and thinking it was a magic trick. He talks about when they brought Scout home. He told Scouthow lucky she is to have Sam as a mother because she’s tough. He asks her not to make a liar out of him.

Josslyn opens the front door, and Oscar falls over on the porch.

Tracy has sent Finn something for Hayden. It looks like a Tiffany bag, and he says something about gemology, so I assume it’s a ring. Hayden shows up at the hospital since she missed him. She asks if he wants breakfast, but he says he has something to do first. Deanna tells him that he has a patient waiting, and Hayden has someone waiting with an invoice question.

Except it’s Jared. She asks what he’s doing there. He asks if she can fix his broken heart. Please. Where’s Danny Trejo with some latte?

Josslyn tells Oscar that she was getting the newspaper and didn’t mean to scare him. He apologizes for creeping up like a stalker. Josslyn says that Carly gave her stamp of approval, and Oscar insists that’s because of the tie. It always works with parents. She tells him he can use the doorbell, but he says that he didn’t want to intrude; he was just going to leave something for her. She says it’s less bad with him there.

Nelle gives Michael some coffee. He says he’s freaking out. She says he has an instinctive need to handle every situation. He tells her that he became a compulsive fixer as a child, holding everything together. Nelle says she’ll take a personal day and help him look for his dad. He’s her priority today.

Jared tells Hayden that they have business, and Hayden asks if they have to do it at her place of business. She says that she never asked him to cover for her, and he says that she didn’t exactly say no. They have a bond that goes past marriage. She can deal with him, or he deals with Finn. She asks for a half hour, but she doesn’t want him waiting there. She reminds him that if Finn finds out, he loses his leverage. He says he knows the perfect spot.

Finn asks what Griff thinks of the ring. Griff doesn’t know the 4 C’s, but says it’s got them all. Deanna says that Hayden will love it. Hayden walks up behind Finn, asking love what? and everyone disappears. She asks why they took off so fast, and what is Finn hiding behind his back? He didn’t realize he was doing this right now, but shows her the ring, saying that he wants to make it proper.

Jason talks to Danny on the phone. He says Sam misses him, but is doing okay, and needs more time to rest. He asks Danny to be good for his grandma, and tells him that he loves him. Sam opens her eyes.

Josslyn tells Oscar that Carly is out looking for Sonny. Oscar says they can go search if she wants, but Josslyn wouldn’t know where to start. She asks to talk about something else. He thought maybe it was bothering her, but she says it’s okay. She tells him that she’s not sure when she found out that Sonny was a mobster. He was just Uncle Sonny, who her mother was married to once, and gradually she figured it out. For a while she thought it was cool to be close to someone so powerful, but she was stupid not to see the other side of it. The guards were there to protect them, but sometimes they can’t. This time, they weren’t there to protect Sonny. She’s been furious at Sonny, but her mom loves him, and Josslyn has known him her whole life. She doesn’t want anything to happen to him.

Deanna tells Sam to breath slowly and deeply. Sam asks what happened, and Jason tells her that she collapsed in the penthouse, but she’s not sure she remembers. Deanna leaves to get the doctors. Jason says everything is going to be okay.

Finn thinks that Hayden doesn’t like the ring, and tells her that Tracy picked it out. Hayden is impressed that Tracy a diamond delivered to him before breakfast. He tells her a story about a guy owing Tracy a favor. When she asks what he did, Finn says the point of blackmail is not to disclose the actions that caused it to happen. She says he already gave her a ring, and he asks if she wants to keep the onion ring. She hugs him, and by the elevator behind him, Jared points to his watch. Hayden tells Finn that she’s going to get it sized right now, and they kiss.

Michael thanks Nelle for letting him crash there. She says as far as personal debt goes, he’s way ahead. She says that if she doesn’t have to help someone, she dwells on the past. Everything is going right, and she gets nervous; she has a phobia about being happy. He says he’ll do everything he can to change that.

Hayden finds Jared at the house. I just don’t see these two together, even in her old life. For one thing, he seems too old. Not necessarily in age, but the way he presents himself. Maybe she was marrying her father. Jared asks if she made an offer on the house. He says if she didn’t, she can still back out, and he starts telling her about mold on the tennis court. She tells him to save the act and cut to the chase. He says they don’t have to be at each other’s throats. If it were up to him – she says what? They’d still be married? She tells him that he spent more time in other women’s beds than their own, and now he’s blackmailing her. There’s no future. She asks how he wants to resolve it, and he says the only way to get rid of him is to make restitution.

Josslyn tells Oscar that she’s been smack talking Sonny, and now she’s concerned about him. Oscar must think she’s nuts. Oscar says it makes her human. People are more than one thing, and he thinks she sees Sonny more clearly than the people who think he’s either all good or all bad. Josslyn says most people believe he’s either a total criminal, or he’s misunderstood, but the truth is, he’s a little of both. He can be kind and generous, or awful, like what he did to her father. Oscar calls her perceptive, and she says not always – she was a brat about Sonny. He doesn’t think she’s a brat, and he gives her a necklace that he made from the bullet casing. Or as he says, the piece of metal they found. I find it hard to believe that with all the history he knows about, Oscar wouldn’t know what it is.

Finn says that Sam is on the on road to recovery. She asks what happened, and Griff asks what’s the last thing she remembers? She says she was at home with Jason, Sonny came over, and she left. She feels like she’s been dreaming. Griff says that’s common for people with this illness. Finn explains what she has, and that Scout is okay. He tells her about the treatment, and knows it sounds scary, but she’s out of the woods.

In the hallway, Jason thanks Finn and Griff. He says he owes them, but they both say it’s just their job. Finn leaves, and Jason asks Griff about Sam’s memory. He tells Jason to give it time. She’ll probably remember, but don’t push it.

Josslyn tells Oscar that the necklace is perfect. Oscar says his stuff isn’t for everyone, but I’m thinking he could make a bundle at flea markets. He says she doesn’t have to wear it, but she wants to. He puts it on her, and says it looks amazing.

Hayden says she knows that Jared wants money, but he says he wants redress. He sacrificed his time and good name. Hayden tells him that he can’t sacrifice something never had, and he tells her that a little appreciation might buy her some good will. She says she does appreciate it, and is willing to do what she can. She tells him that she can get him an interview at ELQ. They’ll listen to her, and he’ll be in the inner circle. He says he’s not looking for a job, but a payout, and she says it will be better in the long term. Jared doubts they’d hire someone with his record, but she’ll find out what that’s like when he exposes her. He wants money, but Hayden says that she doesn’t have it. She wishes she could honor promise, but has nothing to give. He grabs her hand, and says she’s got that, meaning her ring.

Jason updates Alexis on the phone. Sam tries to get out of bed. She wants to stretch, and Deanna says once around the floor. Jason helps her, and she asks him to fill her in.

Finn talks to his dead wife, Reiko, while he looks at a letter from her. He says he met someone, and it’s serious. He should have told her sooner, but thought he didn’t deserve to be happy. Maybe he was punishing himself for being alive, and not being able to save her. He tried to drive Hayden away, and she wouldn’t go. The more he screwed up, the more she stood by him. He says he has a baby coming, and they’re getting married. He doesn’t know how he got so lucky twice, but isn’t questioning it. He’s betting everything on Hayden. Dammit. I don’t know why Hayden doesn’t just talk to him.

Hayden tells Jared that it’s her engagement ring, and he can’t have it. He tells her to hock it, give him the cash, and she can get it back later. Like she’s going to get much for it. Hayden tells him that they’ll have to pry it from her cold dead hand. He says she’s afraid of what to say to Finn, and to just tell him that she lost it. She says it wouldn’t clear her debt to him anyway, but he says it’s an incentive to keep his mouth shut while she works off the rest. He tells her that once Finn finds out that she put a little girl in a wheelchair, how long will it be before he dumps her? Hayden knows that she ruined Jared’s life, and asks him not to ruin hers too. He says he’ll do her a solid, and give her a way to get what she owes at no cost to her.

Nelle says Michael must drive his family crazy. They’re impulsive, and think they’re winning arguments, while he sits there quietly and then changes everything. Josslyn arrives. She had to tell someone about the amazing thing that happened. She thinks she’s interrupting, but Michael tells her that they’re just getting ready to join the search. Josslyn shows Nelle the necklace, and Nelle says it’s definitely striking. She looks at Josslyn in a weird way, and Josslyn says the necklace is unique. Nelle says definitely again, and shows it to Michael. Josslyn asks if something is wrong, and Michael says he doesn’t think she realizes that it’s made from a bullet casing.

Jared says giving up the ring will cause more problems than it solves, and there’s a simpler solution. She can embezzle it; it’s her specialty. She says that she’s not an embezzler, and he says no, just a drunk driver. He wants her to steal the money from the hospital.

Finn says that a year ago, if anyone had suggested he’d be married and have a baby, he’d have punched them in the face; he thought he’d be dead. Reiko told him to fight and he did. He feels like he has a second chance at life, and wants to make the most of his time. He has a future and a family with Hayden. He wishes he could have all that, and keep Reiko around, but he can’t. She’d tell him the same thing. He sets the letter on fire, and cries a little. He wants her to know he’ll love her forever.

Jared says that Hayden is the CFO, and has the means and opportunity. He says it’s not like she’s hurting anyone, and she tells him it’s a hospital and there to heal the sick. He says it’s big business (truth!); how hard can it be to skim something off? Hayden says it’s impossible, and Jared tells her not to sell herself short. She says she worked hard to keep them in the black, and she won’t do it. He says Finn is in for a rude awakening when he finds out that the mother of his child isn’t the angel he thought she was. Her future with him is about to vanish unless she comes up with the money. She has one week.

Sam tells Jason not to treat her like a delicate flower. She sees the Garvman being wheeled by on a gurney, and he looks at her. Jason asks what’s wrong

Tomorrow, Sam thinks there’s something important she’s not remembering, Valentin has something that belongs to someone else, and it’s twenty minutes to demolition where Sonny is trapped.

The Real Housewives of NYC

Sonja insists that Ramona isn’t happy, but Ramona thinks Sonja is the one who’s not happy. Bethenny describes the group as a hangover meets the Golden Girls, and says wine tasting is for wimps; they go straight to tequila. Ramona says she misses her old life, but she’s embraced the life she has now. Bethenny calls Sonja an emotional buzzkill. In her interview, Tinsley says that Sonja hasn’t been drinking that much, but now she’s letting it loose. Everyone piles on a lounging sofa by the pool. Sonja shouts that she loves tequila – and Luann. In her interview, Luann says that Sonja tends to go bipolar when she’s drinking. Sonja wants to see everyone’s boobs. Bethenny gets nakey and jumps in the pool. Carole and Tinsley say their boobs are real, but they’re not showing anyone anything. Carole says she’ll bare hers for art, while the rest will bare them for tequila. Sonja tries to drink straight from the margarita pitcher, but Luann takes it out of her hands, saying, no, no, no. Sonja gets nakey and joins Bethenny in the pool. Dorinda says she doesn’t even go nakey in her own house.

In the pool, Bethenny talks to Ramona, saying she’s been mean. She says a friend would never have said the things she did about Bethenny’s past and her daughter. Ramona says she didn’t say anything about that, but roll the tape. Yep, there it is. Ramona asks why Bethenny is putting this all on her. Bethenny says because she did it. In her interview, she says Ramona keeps saying she didn’t mean to, but she did.  Ramona says she’s a miserable person. Dorinda tries to put Sonja’s bathing suit back on her, and says it’s like putting a bikini on a piece of spaghetti, and she’ll have to live with that sight for the rest of her life. Ramona tells Bethenny that she’s sorry she did what she did and hurt her. By now, they’re both crying. Ramona says that she doesn’t want to be that person, and Bethenny says that she doesn’t want her to be. Ramona is bawling, and keeps saying I don’t know. Bethenny hugs her, and says she’s not an evil or bad person. In her interview, Ramons says she’s embarrassed about what happened, and it’s not who she is. I hate when people say that. It is you, part of you anyway; you’re the one who did it. She tells us that she says things unedited, but she’s not coming from a place of mean, and there was no valid reason for her being that way. Holy! Is that actually sincere contrition coming from Ramona? She feels like a weight has been lifted off. Bethenny wants them to be respectful and not feel the anger. She says it’s closure. Luann suggests they get ready for dinner. Bethenny says her best reconciliations happen when she’s nakey, and realizes Sonja is wearing her bathing suit. Sonja tries to kiss Bethenny, and in her interview, Bethenny says she’s barking up the wrong vagina. They hug, and say I love yous. I’m glad I hate tequila.

Good thing it’s dinner at the villa. I don’t think this crew could make it very far. As usual, Bethenny is the first one at the table. Dorinda says it’s vacation time; they can do what they want. She says that Bethenny’s aggression is scaring he, and Bethenny says it’s an act. Dorinda starts doing her drunk thing with her hands waving around, and Bethenny imitates her. In her interview, Bethenny says that Dorinda is the weakest link in the drinking chain and a loose cannon. Somehow, Dorinda stabs herself in the hand trying to make a point. Bethenny feels responsible for everyone, and says now blood and a knife is involved. Dorinda tells Bethenny not to pressure herself to be perfect, and asks if it’s overwhelming to be correct all the time. She says that Bethenny is a lot of fun, but wants to be a super human on this trip. She tells Bethenny to let it go. Carole tries to say that Dorinda just meant they should be flexible, but Bethenny says an hour and a half of waiting is flexible. Sonja is sleeping. Tinsley apologizes to Ramona for telling her to shut up. She realizes that it was Sonja who leaked the info to the press. The girls hear fireworks, and go outside to watch. Bethenny tells Dorinda not to psychoanalyze her. Dorinda says she’s a mean bitch. Bethenny says that Dorinda has been harboring feelings, and now it’s coming out. Dorinda says she’s stuck up for Bethenny plenty of times, and leaves. Bethenny says f-u, but adds that Dorinda won’t remember it in the morning. In her interview, Bethenny says it was hurtful. She knows who she is, doesn’t need to be reminded, and it’s probably not going to change. Carole says that Bethenny is being hyper-sensitive. Tinsley says that Dorinda adores her, but Bethenny says she doesn’t think so. Dorinda does owe her an apology though.

In the morning, Ramona decides to try some yoga. She tells Luann she missed so much. Luann says that she talked to Tom and fell asleep. Ramona explains that she talked with Bethenny, and they bared their souls. Luann says that’s great until she screws it up again. Everyone gathers as the instructor waits. Luann asks if everyone is okay, but in her interview, Dorinda says she doesn’t really remember what the argument was about. She tells Bethenny all she was trying to say is that Bethenny is a great person, and she should relax. Bethenny asks if this is how she communicates with her friends. Dorinda says she has no hard feelings, and Bethenny says she doesn’t need to. Dorinda tells us that the only person who never sees her nasty side is her mother. Bethenny says Dorinda doesn’t know how to apologize.

In their room, Dorinda tells Carole that she feels badly, but doesn’t like when Bethenny calls her a nasty person. Instead of dealing with her feelings, she gets aggressive, and needs to deal with that. In her interview, Carole says that she wants Dorinda to know she has her back, since it isn’t fun to realize you were fighting with a friend when you were drunk. Dorinda thinks there’s a mouse in the room and freaks. In her interview, she talks about how much she hates them. True mouse story – after we were flooded during Hurricane Sandy, a mouse took up residence with us for a short time. I knew he was around, the dogs kept noticing something, and then we finally ran into each other one night in the kitchen. We locked eyes, and he was so tiny, and looked so frightened, it broke my heart. I wondered what he must have thought happened, and there was no way to explain it to him. I told him that I wasn’t going to hurt him, but he’d have to move on when all the chaos was over. I didn’t, and he did. I can never understand how anyone can be frightened of such a timid little thing. He looked like something off of a Hallmark card. How can you hate that?

Sonja calls Frenchie. She shows him her swimsuit, and looks like she’s using a TSA wand, going up and down her body with the phone. She says she doesn’t like sexting, but likes to flash. She thinks he should be more worried about the women than her picking up a man. The yoga instructor’s tagline is, the way you treat me is your path; the way I react, is mine. Pretty good. Sonja says she’s exhausted from being happy.

Dorinda and Bethenny talk. Dorinda says when her perception is that she’s being attacked, she attacks, and she reacted poorly. She had a beautiful day, and she was wrong. Nicely and simply put. Bethenny says she wants to make everyone feel good, but doesn’t want to gloat over her accomplishments. They hug it out, and I’m glad. They talk about the distillery, and Dorinda says it was amazing. She’s glad they got past their disagreement fast. Bethenny says she has an emotional hangover, and now she’s the one crying all the time

Tinsley, Ramona, and Carole go yachting with Captain Fred.

Bethenny asks if Tinsley is going to marry this guy (I assume she means the Miami date; I’ve forgotten his name already), and Sonja says that she wants to marry every guy she meets. On the boat, Tinsley gets a text, and says that she’s going to Vegas tomorrow. Carole says that Ramona is next, and suggests she move in with Sonja. Tinsley has been planning a thank you party since before Mexico, but now it’s a thank you party with a sprinkle of f-u.

Sonja says that Tinsley thinks they’re all great – until they’re not. Sonja says that Tinsley might have written a book on Southern charm, but thinks the party thing is just for show.

Carole excels in fishing, and sits in one of those fisherman’s chairs. She tells us that you need to be quiet and have patience to catch a fish, so clearly she’s the only one in the group who can do it. Two whales cavort in the water, and Carole dives in for a swim. I’m so jealous. Tinsley wonders what if a whale bites her, and Carole says maybe it will be a sperm whale. What? They don’t catch anything, so they’re buying a fish and saying they caught it.

Carole tells the others to keep their mouths shut. She thinks she’s the only one who can manage it though. She gives the fish to the chef. We flash to a clip of Carole holding the fish at the market like she caught it. In her interview, Luann thinks the captain of the boat probably caught the fish.

Bethenny thinks they’re getting along too well, and someone needs to be in a body bag before they leave. Dorinda thinks that Ramona is Benjamin Button and aging backwards. They go out for dinner, and toast to their last night. Dorinda says, they laughed, they cried, and no one ended up in jail. Luann says making out, falling down, helicopters – it was fabulous. Bethenny asks for the thorn and the rose, the best and worst things for them on the trip. Dorinda says of course her thorn was their disagreement. Carole says her thorn was seeing Dorinda upset, but her rose was rooming with Dorinda. Sonja says the helicopter ride was her rose, and Tinsley says she never felt more baller. Bethenny thinks that Tinsley is more wasted than Dorinda. Luann suggests that Tinsley not drop the f-bomb so much, since they’re in a restaurant. Tinsley tells Luann that she says Palm Beach too much when she means West Palm, and Luann is like, yeah, but that’s not offensive. Tinsley says there’s a huge difference. Luann asks where she lives in Palm Beach, with her mother? Bethenny says it’s a social nucleus, and suggests they put a pin in it, but not Dorinda, since she’s already had an accident. Ramona says that she and Bethenny’s time in the pool together was her rose, but her thorn was when she hadn’t been invited. She felt like she was in Mean Girls. In her interview, she says we grow as people and aren’t perfect. She’s so deep. Dorinda tells them that her rose was the horse dancing to the mariachi band, and their argument was her thorn. Bethenny agrees. Luann starts to say that her husband is her rose, and everyone is like, enough already. Bethenny makes fun of her saying Palm Beach, dah-ling.

Next time, John shows Dorinda a wedding dress (she’s like, whoa, Nellie!); Tinsley throws her party, but Sonja is a no-show, and Tom takes his mic off to talk about Missy.

🍗 The cooks on MasterChef  fed local merchants, from bee keepers to artisan butchers (whatever those are), using their products. The blue team made fish, while the red team made a pork chop dish. As usual, everything looked fantastic to me, because I never would have made it past the first round. Scratch that, I wouldn’t have made it to the first round. The red team ended up with the pressure test, except for Yachecia, who made the polenta. The test was to make six perfect cannolis. A couple of the chefs couldn’t count, and put less than six in the box. Honestly though, I’m like, who cares what they look like, or how many there are, give me one of those. Gordon told Newton that his cannolis were rough around the edges, but had great filling, much like old Newt himself. Brien went home because he doesn’t know how to spell his name, and his cannolis were a mess. He left his apron graciously, and said he’s taking this as a learning experience. Next time, the MasterChef reigning master champ will be conjuring up a mystery box, and a mysterious ingredient pushes some cooks to their breaking point. I can’t even imagine.
