Fear the Walking Dead

Everyone is stunned about Nick. Al has videoed the aftermath. We see Luci make sure Nick doesn’t come back by stabbing him in the head, Alicia re-killing Ennis more viciously (somehow, he got rid of the deer head he was impaled on), and Victor covers Nick up. In the van, Victor tells Al, let’s get this over with. Al says it can wait until he’s buried, but Victor says that was the deal. She asks how he ended up there, and he tells her that’s a big question. She says sometimes those are easier to answer. Luci says they could have stopped this from happening.

It’s another one of those back-and-forth episodes. Luci watches a guy, who looks like Riff Raff from Rocky Horror, bring some supplies to the Vultures. Charlie laughs with Ennis. She explains to Al that they had to stretch rations with cattle feed. Victor says it’s an acquired taste.

At the stadium, Victor offers to garnish lunch with maple syrup, and Alicia tells him to save it for the pancakes. He says, for when things get better, and they will. Madison says it’s time to be creative. The need to find places their friends in the parking lot haven’t hit, like maybe a bowling alley.

Victor says it was their first misstep, going on runs that day.

Victor and Cole walk through a greenhouse. Cole says he went to A&M University, and knows which plants are safe to eat. He encourages Victor to tell him something about himself, and Victor says he didn’t go to A&M. They find something edible, and look for a cart. Cole asks how long Victor is going to act like he’s afraid of him. Victor says that’s not the case.

Al asks if he was afraid of Cole, and Victor says, of course not. He says they’re supposed to be talking about Nick, and Al says they’re talking about him.

Cole and Victor fight off zombies in the greenhouse. Cactus zombies. They have quills sticking out of them all over. One gets Cole down. Victor pikes it in the head and helps him up.

Nick takes Luci to a nearby library. His mother once brought him there, and he thinks it’s a sign. Luci says she went with him because Nick thought it would be good for her.

Inside the library, Nick whistles. It’s empty because zombies don’t read. He takes a poster down off the wall, and Luci asks why they’re here. Nick tells her that people need a reason to stick around, and not just food. She says there’s nothing left, but he thinks there has to be something. Luci says it’s about her, referring to Charlie. Nick says she thinks they’re looking out for her and they’re family. Luci says she thought Colonia was a good place to be, but it wasn’t. He helped her.

Al says, but he couldn’t help Charlie. Luci says, she killed Nick. What do you think?

John tells Morgan he used to be a police officer. He knew a guy who drank a bottle of rye every night. One night he survived a close call. A guy stole a garbage truck, and it ended up squashing his patrol car. He went a week without touching rye. John says it takes more than a week to change someone. He thinks Morgan will be on his way after Nick is buried. John is going to find Laura, and wants Morgan with him. He wants them to meet. Morgan just wants to see Nick buried, and he’ll be on his way. He’s better on his own.

Al says they can stop if it’s too much; Alicia’s brother died. Alicia says, yeah, he did.

Alicia and Naomi go to a small waterpark. Naomi sees a van she thinks they should take back, pointing out that it even has a tape deck. She looks for keys, but finds nothing. They head into the park, which looks like something from Abandoned, but with dead bodies all over. A zombie stumbles out, and Alicia stabs its head. Another follows, and Naomi takes care of that one. Naomi says whoever camped here moved to higher ground when the fence came down, showing Alicia a site on a platform at the top of the waterslide. The stairs are barricaded, but Alicia says they can get up there from the slide. They look at the zombies wandering around in the water.

Victor says he wanted to do the right thing in the car. Cole tells Victor that if he doesn’t like him, just tell him. Victor says he does like him. Cole asks why he won’t share information about himself then, and Victor says he doesn’t want Cole to know him. He’s done dumb things, and keeps this to remind him not to be that man. He hands Cole what we both agree looks like a piece of a rock. Victor says, it’s not.

Al asks if going on run brought them closer together, and Alicia says, of course it did. They were the only ones still breathing. She and Naomi wade through the pool, and the zombies. Naomi tries to get up the slide, but keeps slipping back down. Alicia gives her a boost, and tries to follow, but she slips and loses her knife. As they struggle to get up the slide, there’s a terrific crane shot showing the cluster of zombies, grappling at the bottom.

They carefully make their way up. It would really suck to get all that way and slide back down into a mess of zombies. They look at the stuff left behind, and Alicia thinks there’s still some ammo. A zombie toddles out, startling them. They struggle with it, and Naomi falls down to a bowl-like attachment on the slide. I’m guessing you could once slide through it, but now there’s a clog of zombies caked in slime in the opening. Naomi kicks at them, but one is particularly aggressive. Alicia slides down, having grabbed a pipe that was part of the slide. She knocks the zombie in the head, and it slides back down into the clog. I have to admit, I made noises out loud throughout this whole scene.

Al asks when she sharpened it. Alicia says that came later.

Back at the top, Alicia and Naomi go through the stuff. Naomi finds the keys to the van, but says nothing. There’s a trunk of medical supplies, and Naomi tells Alicia to take as much as she can. Naomi gives Alicia binoculars, and suggests she look for what hasn’t been picked over. Alicia thinks there’s a possibility, but when she turns around, Naomi is gone.

Al asks, what happened? Did she run? Victor says, they’re all running.

Victor and Cole go to a parking lot. Cole asks where the hell they are. Victor opens the hatchback of a car, and says, when the crops failed, he gathered things. Cole asks why Victor is showing him. Victor says there’s enough room for two. Cole tells him that people are hungry. Victor says the supplies would maybe feed them for a day; it wouldn’t make a difference. Cole says makes a difference between them making it for another day or not. Victor says so could this. Before, he did things where people got hurt or died. He learned self-preservation. He says famine is on the horizon, and he did it to ensure he survived. He wants Cole to know this is him. Cole shakes his head. He can’t do it. Victor says he didn’t think so. Cole says he’ll drive himself back.

Al asks if he left, and if Victor thinks it’s his fault. Alicia says, it’s not his fault. He wasn’t the only one who thought about leaving.

Naomi starts the car. It chugs to a stop because there’s no gas in it. I’m not even going to say it. Yes, I am. You’d think she’d have checked that first thing. She sure made a good guess those were the right car keys. Alicia is there, and says that’s the second time she ran out since they’ve met. Naomi doesn’t have to tell them anything, but she’s either with them, trying to keep it going, or not. Naomi says she can’t try to keep this going. Alicia tells her that she said the same thing once. She went off on her own; no one could talk her out of it, but wasn’t what she wanted it to be. Maybe she’ll realize that too. Alicia says she’ll go with her to get some gas.

Al asks if Luci thought about leaving. Luci says they all did.

Luci tells Nick that they have to go. He says there could be something there for her. He looks around in the back, and we hear zombie noises. A trail of books leads to a zombie who’s tied up, so it can’t escape. Nick puts it out of its misery, and sees that its wrists are slit. Luci sees a book of maps. Luci say she doesn’t want to end up like that. Nick tells her they know what’s wrong, and they’re going to try and fix it. She says what if they find a new place? Start over. He asks, where, and she hands him the book. She says the first place they open to.

Al asks Luci, what page did it open to? It’s the reason she’s sitting here, isn’t it? Luci says she should have never opened the book.

Madison looks through binoculars at the Vultures. Mel waves and holds up a radio. She gets on hers, and asks if he needs help. He asks if they have relish. She goes down to the parking lot, but I don’t see her bringing any relish. He says they’ve finished it, haven’t they? And the ketchup and mustard. Condiments are the first things to go, in trying to dress up things they don’t want to eat. The dressing up part is true even in real life. I remember putting Italian dressing on green beans and ketchup on mac and cheese at lunch in high school. Mel is cooking hotdogs. He asks where she’s sending people, and she says, why? So they can beat them there? She doesn’t think so. He says every time she sends someone out, they might not come back. Madison says they will; she knows her people.

Mel says before he lived on the bus, he lived like them, in a settlement; his family’s cattle ranch in hill country. It was a nice place to be, but then wildfires kicked up. Madison knows where he’s going. She says, he’s smart, and saw what was coming. He tried to warn everyone, but they wouldn’t listen. So he and his brother left before the fires hit. She says she’s sorry about the rest of his family. Mel says, people are stubborn creatures. He asks if she’d like a weenie, but she’s good. He says if she didn’t come out for food or company, what is she doing there? She says her offer still stands. If they want relish, they could scrounge some up from the concession stand. They can make a go of it, if they work together. He asks if she believes that. She does, and he says that’s why the place is going to fall. His offer also stands. She turns to leave, and he says she was wrong about his story. He told them that they could save the place, and they listened. He and Ennis were the only ones who made it out alive. They could hear them scream as they drove off. Madison walks away.

Al says that’s why it’s so important. They gave up on the stadium.

In the library, Luci flips open the book.

Victor sits in his car.

Naomi tells Alicia that she was a nurse. After a while, she could tell who would make it and who wouldn’t. She says the stadium won’t last. They have to think about where they’re going next. Alicia says she’ll talk to Madison.

Victor says Al thinks she knows what happened that day, but she’s wrong.

Cole drives up to the stadium, and Madison asks if Victor is okay. Victor drives in behind him. Al asks why he came back, and Victor says he got a reminder of what he stood to lose. He looks at the syrup. Al asks what people thought when they found out about his escape hatch. Madison sees all the supplies, and says it looks like they got a break. Victor tells Al that he didn’t tell them the truth. Al asks Luci what page it opened to.

Luci says they’re going north. Nick asks what if there’s another way of looking at this. They bring the book to Madison. Nick asks what if they went further to scavenge than they have before. Madison says they can’t go that far every time, but he says they only need to go once. He tells her they can get seeds and fertilizer. They can replant, and turn the place back into what it was. Madison says okay, because she’s coming from a place of yes this season.

A tear rolls down Luci’s face.

Alicia tells Madison they have to talk. Al asks if Alicia told her about Naomi.

Alicia knocks on Naomi’s car window as she’s starting to leave. She asks if they ever lived when Naomi thought they were going to die. Naomi tells Alicia to let her do the talking, and Alicia gets in, saying, nice wheels. At the stadium, Naomi says if they’re going to make it work, things will get worse before they get better. She’s going to set up an infirmary.

Alicia says instead of fighting to change everything, she should have told them to leave. Luci says they should have found somewhere else. Victor says he wanted to be a better person, that’s why he’s dead. Luci says they could have stopped it all. Al puts down the camera.

Al stops the van, and they get out. Victor says, this is it. They dig, and John asks, why here? Alicia asks what difference it makes to him, and he says he just wants to know. They continue to dig, and dig up a cache of guns. Al says it’s not about Nick. They’re going after the rest of them, even after what happened to Nick. Alicia says it’s what he would have wanted. Al says answers only matter if they’re true. Alicia says it was the truth, and Al says it was served between two slices of bullsh*t. She tells them good luck without her. Victor says they know where the Vultures are meeting up next, and Al says, they needed a ride. John says she’s been snookered. She asks if they’re really going to lug all this, and Alicia says unless she takes them. John says his seems to be the only story that doesn’t end with someone getting hurt or killed. Victor says if Al wants to know how it ends, come see for herself, and Al tells them to load up the van. Morgan asks Alicia if they’re still planning on burying her brother or are they leaving him on the side of the road? Alicia says they’ll bury him there. Morgan says, he liked growing things, right?

In a spot near a beautiful tree, Victor puts the last dirt on the grave. Luci kneels down and touches it. Morgan leaves a bluebonnet.

As they’re packing the truck, John asks where they got some of it. Alicia says it’s just stuff they’ve picked up along the way. He asks for a knapsack, saying it belonged to Laura.

At the stadium, Naomi asks Alicia for a second alone. She takes out a gun that matches John’s.

John takes out the gun. He says, her name was Naomi. She never told him her real name. He asks where she is, and Alicia says she didn’t make it out of the stadium. Things went wrong. He guesses that trip is off, and asks what happened. Alicia says, she’s dead, and he says that’s not true. She’s out there; she’s gotta be. Victor says, there’s the rub, his story did end up with someone getting hurt. Alicia says they did this. Come with them. John asks them to let him be. Al approaches him. She says she’ll find out what happened, and come back for him. Morgan tells them to go; he’ll stay behind. They drive off. Morgan tells John that he’s sorry. John says he was right. We’re always on our own.

Next time, John and Naomi’s story.

👌 I love the Morgan/John pairing. I have more feels for these characters than the ones on Walking Dead. They just seem more well-rounded. Although I probably enjoy Talking Dead most of all. It’s like the day after a convention (sci/fi, horror, Star Trek, whatever, take your pick), when you rehash everything and look over all the crap you bought.

🏯 I’m not really watching Into the Badlands, although it might be one of those things I consume in one bite On Demand someday. I did glance at it though, and it looks awesome. Like a Quentin Tarantino film, but more colorful. The fight scenes are unbelievable – chicks with swords! – and I’ll bet a lot of the actors go home bruised and sore.

🍷 I didn’t really take in too much of The Real Housewives of Potomac tonight, but there was a stand-out quote, brought to us by Candiace: I think I like her better drunk. I don’t know who she was referring to, but I thought of how well it could apply to anyone in the franchise saying it about anyone else in the franchise.

General Hospital

On the phone at the MetroCourt, Carly says she’s excited about Nelle’s baby shower. No, really. She hangs up and takes a pill. Sonny asks how she’s doing, and she says better. He says that means Doc knows what he’s doing. She hopes it gets her through Nelle’s baby shower.

Nelle and Michael arrive at Kelly’s, and see Lulu and Dante. Nelle says they just came back from interviewing pediatricians, and asks who their kids see. Lulu says Valentin prefers Dr. Arden for Charlotte. Nelle thinks he’s a little cold, and Lulu says they could get along perfectly. What’s with these people? If I was Nelle, I’d be plotting against them too.

On the phone, Valentin tells someone to find a legitimate reason to get Robert on the plane, and he’ll take it from there. He needs to get rid of him.

Robert tells Anna that the problem with Jason is there’s no negotiating with him. Robert is concerned about the risks of Anna posing as Henrik’s mother and dangling herself as bait. He says she’s working hard to get herself killed.

Nina asks Peter what reason he has keeping a folder of personal things regarding Nathan. He didn’t even know her brother. Peter says he can explain. It was going to be surprise for her and Maxie.

At Nathan’s grave, Maxie says it should be a kind, generous, and thoughtful gift, but it’s a stunt. If Henrik wanted to do something good, he would leave her alone, or find a way to bring Nathan back. He has no idea how much she wishes it was possible. She hears something, and asks if someone is there.

Chet reveals himself. Since it’s a different Chet, I’m confused for a moment. He’s sorry he scared her. He’s also sorry about Nathan; he was good man. Chet wishes he could have gone to the funeral. Maxie says Amy told her that he was having health problems, but he says he’s doing better after the surgery. He’s brought Nathan his six-month NA chip, since Nathan had a lot to do with him achieving it.

Nina tells Peter it’s crazy, weird, and certifiable. He says it was for her. He thought she’d enjoy looking at it; remembering things, and learning new ones. He reached out to her mother and Aunt Liesl (aka Obrecht) . They’d saved tons of mementos, but he got most of it from her mother. Nina thinks it’s a load of crap, and is going to call Obrecht to confirm it.

Robert tells Anna that her plan screams trouble. She says she won’t break their agreement. She won’t tell Henrik that she’s really his mother, she’s just using that to draw him out. Robert asks what if he kills her first? She says she’ll just pretend for an instant, and then show her badge. He says her badge isn’t bullet proof. Anna tells him she’ll explain that he needs to be tested for Huntington’s disease. Robert says, so she’s just giving him a message, then going on her sweet way? She says he’s her son; she can’t just leave him like this. Robert says there lies the trouble he mentioned earlier.

Nelle apologizes to Lulu, saying she knows she made mistakes, and made life difficult for those Lulu cares about. She hopes Lulu will accept her apology, and she’s able to make amends one day. Nelle leaves to get a seat, and Dante asks Michael if everything is okay. Michael says they’re gearing up for the baby. Lulu says they’re here for whatever he needs, including a BS detector. Michael just wants everyone to get along, and Lulu promises to try for him.

Sonny asks if Carly is sure she’s up to do this; she can’t stand the Quartermaines or Nelle. She thinks she can handle a few hours. She tells Sonny that she’s not in a good place, and he asks why; is she seeing things? She can’t explain it, but she’s under stress, and can’t take more medication than what she’s supposed to. Sonny suggests she let Josslyn represent her at the shower and send a gift, but she’s not letting that snake win and paint her as a bad guy. She doesn’t care what Monica thinks, but she does care about Josslyn. She knows Morgan is dead and not coming back. She’s accepted it, but she’ll be damned if she’s letting Nelle alienate her from the son and daughter she has left. She’s going. Sonny gives her an envelope that arrived earlier. Carly takes out some paperwork, and says, she actually went through with it. Sonny asks who, and she says, Nelle.

Dante asks Lulu what’s going on in the world of journalism? She asks if he’s been reading her articles. She thought they’d agreed not to talk about work. He asks if she’s tried to contact Henrik, but Josslyn interrupts.

Michael sits with Nelle, and she says interviewing the doctors made it real. It’s exciting – and terrifying. She already feels for the baby, and Michael says that’s a good sign. She tells him that she found a lawyer to draw up the papers, and his parents probably have them by now.

Carly explains to Sonny that the papers are to make them legal guardians if something happens. She says that Nelle had second thoughts about Jason, since his life is up in the air. She wants the baby to have two parents, and a mother as fierce about her children as she is. She thought Nelle was blowing smoke, but she’s serious. Carly can’t believe that snake. Sonny thinks she needs to take a step back. From where he’s standing, it’s a good thing.

Chet tells Maxie that Nathen went distance to help with his medical bills. He made Chet look at himself, and he got clean. Maxie says Nathan would have been proud; all the Ask Man Landers insanity paid off. She congratulates him, and he says he should be saying that to her about the baby. She says she’s excited. Chet can’t imagine how hard it must be, but she says it’s easier knowing there’s a trust fund. She can’t thank him and Amy enough, and he says it’s the least they could do. She says it’s a thoughtful gift coming from a kind and generous place, as opposed to someone setting up a fund who’s not just anyone, but Nathan’s killer’s son. She’s going to give it back.

Peter asks Nina to hold off; he’s like to explain himself. Nina says she’s done with the stalling. Valentin shows up, asking if she’s done with work. She says, not quite. Her boss is lying through his teeth.

Maxie already knows that Nathan would accept it, saying the good outweighs the negative. She could go with that if it came from anyone other than Faison’s son. Chet asks how she knows he’s like his father? Maybe he’s looking for a way to honor Nathan, like he and Amy did. Maxie says that’s different; they’re friends. The gift came out of kindness and love. Chet says she doesn’t know the motives unless she asks, and in the end, does it matter? Its a chance to give back. Maxie admits she’s scared to not be angry, and have a place to put her pain and grief. Then what? Chet says she thinks it’s giving her strength, but it’s poison. Not until she lets it go will she feel the pain and loss, and find a way back to the good things again.

Nina tells Peter she didn’t know these things even existed, and he says that was the point. She goes through them; an award for a spelling bee, a letter from camp. Valentin says it does seem peculiar. Nina says it’s outrageous and intrusive. Peter is obsessed with Maxie, and finding a way to get close to her. Peter says that’s not the case, and Valentin says, then what is it?

Anna says she needs to have a conversation with Henrik. There’s a lot of speculation as to how complicit he was, and she wants to set the record straight. He should get the opportunity to expunge his record. Robert says, a fresh start? but Anna knows she doesn’t have the authority to make those deals. He asks, what about Jason? Henrik kept him captive. Anna says Henrik saved his life. She doesn’t want to argue. It’s all speculation, and he hasn’t been charged; he’s only alleged to have committed these acts in Russia. She just wants to give him a chance to explain. Robert says, no. She wants him to say he’s innocent.

Lulu tells Josslyn it’s well-written. The earthquake was dramatic, and Oscar’s take is insightful. Josslyn says it was in the school paper, and asks if Lulu could give it to the PC Press. She asks why not go through Drew, but Josslyn doesn’t think Oscar would like that. Dante asks if he knows she’s doing this, and she says not exactly, but she thinks would be cool. Dante says she’s so her mother’s daughter.

Michael tells Nelle that was fast, and she says she wants the baby protected. He asks if she thinks his parents are the way to go, and she asks if he doesn’t. He does, but what about her history with his mom? She says they’re going to be family now. The baby connects them, and whether they like it or not, they have to find a way to make peace. She’s showing she’s serious. Michael is glad she’s making an effort, and hopes his mom can do the same.

Carly is worried that Nelle is trying to slither her way back into their good graces, and use them to trap their son. Sonny says Michael knows that and won’t fall for it. Carly insists he doesn’t know that. Sonny asks who she would want to raise the baby, and she says, them, but they think they’re getting something when they’re just opening a door. Nelle has an agenda. She’s working an angle, but Carly hasn’t figured it out yet.

Josslyn tells Dante she is not her mom. Dante asks if Oscar wants it in the paper. Josslyn thinks it would be an awesome surprise. Dante asks if it matters what Oscar wants, and she says okay, she is like her mom.  Dante says if it ends up in the paper, to everyone on the outside, it might look like his father had something to do with it. It’s one thing to be goal oriented, but she should keep in mind that there are consequences for everything you do, intended or unintended. Josslyn respects his viewpoint, but says Oscar deserves it. Lulu says she’ll do her best. When she’s gone, Lulu says she felt like he was talking to her about unintended consequences. He wants her to be careful. She didn’t get hurt last time, but that doesn’t mean she won’t this time.

Michael leaves, and Josslyn tells Nelle they looked cozy. Nelle says they’ve been getting closer. She’s trying to prove she’s not the giant horror show Carly thinks she is. Josslyn says maybe her mom is warming up. They’re going baby shopping for the shower together.

Michael joins Carly and Sonny. He suggests that Carly is trying to see something that’s not there. Carly says that’s what Nelle wants them to think; they’re playing into her hands. Michael says he gets it; she’s playing them. He tells Carly this game has got to end. He gets it. Nelle hurt her, and she can’t stand that they’re having a child together. He needs her to back off.

Maxie tells Chet it’s a good thing we can’t look ahead see where we’d end up. Who knew in high school they’d end up where they are; the widow of cop and a wounded vet. He says life takes you to strange places, and Maxie adds, and you have no say. Chet asks if she’d change it. Maxie thinks for a moment, and says, no. The way it played out is the only way she’d have time with Nathan, and she has the baby. No matter how hurt and lost she feels, she wouldn’t trade it. What about him? Chet says after he was injured, he was angry. He was still alive, and his friends had been killed. He couldn’t stand to think about high school. Now, he draws strength from it. It beats being sad about how it turned out. Maxie says he’s right. She’s going to forget where the money is coming from, and focus on where it’s going. Nathan loved helping people, and would want her to do the same.

Peter tells Nina that he barely knew her or Maxie, and he witnessed their grief. He wanted to help. Maybe it was for him too, because he didn’t save Nathan. He’s sorry she’s upset; it’s the last thing he wanted. Nina says she’s taking the folder, and tells Valentin, let’s go. She tells Peter to stop using her brother to look good in front of Maxie. Valentin tells her to go ahead. After she leaves, Peter tells him to forego the lecture. Valentin says he just has an update. The plans for Robert are in motion.

Anna asks Robert what parent doesn’t want to see the good in their child. She wants him to be able to without Faison’s legacy. There are no charges against him, so she won’t be getting into trouble. Robert asks what about stealing five years of Jason’s life. He can’t see Jason not bearing a grudge. He thinks she’s lying to herself. She says Jason won’t listen. He’ll just find Henrik and kill him. Robert says then she’s leading Henrik’s assassin right to him. She says that’s not going to happen. She respects Jason and vice versa; she can handle it. Robert gets a text. He says it’s a case that’s been dogging him for months, even though he’d like to delegate it. She says she has this, and to go. Robert tells her to keep him updated. He leaves, and she begins to type on the laptop.

Maxie visits Peter’s office. He says he was worried about her. She says she went to Nathan’s grave to talk to him. Peter asks if she got any answers. She says a friend did. She could swear he was sent by Nathan, so she’s going to accept for Nathan and the other grieving families. Peter asks why she’s starting to come around; what convinced her? I space out while she’s saying something about friendship being like a sliver of light, and she feels the baby kick.

Nina looks through letters and photographs, telling Valentin that Nathan was a reindeer in the school pageant. He says his childhood might have been cold and harsh, but he didn’t have brother to lose. Sh’es had more than her fair share of pain. She says, him too. He says he has something to take care of, and asks if she’ll be okay. When he leaves, she makes a call to Obrecht, asking about Peter.

Michael tells Carly it’s good news that Nelle wants her for a guardian, if it comes to that. Carly hopes it won’t. She insists Nelle has an ulterior motive, and is working him; it’s just a gesture. If she tore up the papers, they’d never hear about it again. Michael takes the papers and rips them, saying he’s calling Nelle’s bluff. If Carly is right, he’ll let it go, but if he’s right, she’ll get new papers. If she does, he’d like it if they both accepted that Nelle is being genuine. Carly has a headache, saying it’s a side effect of her medication. She leaves to get some Ibuprofen, and Michael say the harder she pushes Nelle the worse it gets. It’s best to move past what happened. Sonny thinks Nelle is winning him over, but Michael is just asking him to try for the baby’s sake.

Dante tells Lulu if Henrik contacts her, he wants to know first. She wishes he wouldn’t give Peter a hard time. She feels awful, and hopes, if time passes, Maxie will come around. Dante does too, and she says for once, they’re all on the same page. Dante gets up, and Lulu gets a text from someone saying they think they’re Henrik’s mother (presumably, Anna). Dante asks, what’s up? Is she chasing a big story?

Josslyn finds Carly at the MetroCourt, and asks if she forget something. Carly realizes she’s supposed to be shopping with Josslyn, and Josslyn says Nelle brought her – to get a present for her own baby shower. Carly says time got away from her, and Josslyn says it’s not like her. Like with Avery in the park. Carly says that’s totally different. Josslyn says it seems like there’s something going on, and asks if there’s something Carly isn’t telling her. Carly says things are crazy and she’s off her game, but everything is getting better. It’s going to be okay.

Nelle joins Michael and Sonny. Michael tells Nelle it’s lame to take someone to get a present for your own shower. She says Josslyn was excited about the pop-up store, and she didn’t want her to miss out.  Michael is glad, and Sonny says he is too.

Dante says he’s proud of Lulu, despite his reservations. She says she feels the same about him. She looks at the text again.

On the phone, Nina tells Obrecht that she’s grateful she preserved Nathan’s childhood, and knows she misses him. She does too. When she’s done, she calls Curtis, and tells him to call off the investigation.

Peter asks Maxie if the baby kicked, and she says it was a full body roll. He can’t imagine what it’s like, and she puts his hand on her stomach. She says it’s not the same, but he can feel it. He starts laughing, and asks if she can believe an actual person is in there. She keeps wondering if the baby will be like her or Nathan, and Peter suggests a little of both. He can’t wait to meet him or her. Maxie says makes two of them.

Anna thinks back to Valentin telling her that she was afraid of ever letting go if she saw the baby.

Robert is on a plane, having a cocktail and getting sleepy. Valentin sits across from him, and says he hopes Robert is enjoying the drink. He tells Robert, nighty-night.

On Monday, Olivia has something to boost Ned’s outlook, Stella suggests a lawsuit, and Carly feels strongly about a fitting tribute.

🍜 On MasterChef: Junior Edition (aka MasterChef Junior), the kids had to cook for Junior alumni at a pop-up restaurant, with the pressure test being designed by the winner of season five. I missed that part, but came in to Gordon dressed like Mrs. Doubtfire, and Christine and Joe backing him up dressed as old ladies who weren’t Mrs. Doubtfire. It was like a grandmathon, where the contestants prepared dishes inspired by their grandmas, and the winner getting a visit from their grandma. The next challenge presented the young chefs with four different whole fish, and previous winner Quani got to choose who got which. This was the beginning of the end, as only three would be going on to the finale. The first ever eight-year-old, Avery, was one of the chosen, and told those leaving tonight that it wasn’t goodbye, but see you later. Wise, for one so young, and she can cook.

💍 Because I can never get enough of 90 Fiancé, tonight, I went down Danielle and Mohamad Memory Lane with a repeat of The Full Story. If you haven’t been introduced to this delightful pair, in a nutshell, Tunisian Mohamad traveled across the world to Ohio to marry halfwit Danielle. One look, and it’s doubtful he’d be interested, but he seems harmless enough, and genuinely glad to be there with her. Until she loses her job. Having immediately acclimated to the culture, Mohamad consulted a lawyer, finding out that not only would he be responsible for half her debt if they married, it takes a helluva long time to get a green card. Waiting until five minutes before the wedding, he decided to go through with it, but it was downhill from there, with Mohamad going on a never-ending business trip to Miami, posting pictures with many hot women on social media. There was an eternity of Danielle flip-flopping between getting an annulment, where Mohamad’s happy ass would go back to Tunisia, and a divorce, which would let the citizen chips fall where they may. In another last-minute move, Danielle’s lawyer basically told her she couldn’t afford an annulment if Mohamad fought it, which he intended to do. So divorce it was, although that didn’t stop Danielle from harassing Mohamad even after it was over. He disappeared after the reunion – called The Couples Tell All in this franchise – and was never heard from again. I’m still checking the headlines.

More infuriating than anything else, is my indecision on who I find to be the worst of the two. Mohamad, who so obviously did not come here because he loved Danielle, or Danielle, who was so obviously deluded. He would play the let’s-stay-friends card, then disappear, only to be seen on social media with hot women. She would convince herself that if she could just talk to him, he’d give her the happily ever after she wanted. It was no, just no, from the beginning, but she never saw that. It’s possible, had she not lost her job, he might have stuck around longer, but she was never going to make it happen. It was also clear pretty quickly that she was not that bright. It was like watching Groundhog Day, but without Bill Murray, and totally humorless. He would ghost her, she’d fall apart, then decide she could talk sense into him; she’d tell him she was getting an annulment, he’d meet with her and promise they could stay friends, she’d see his social media posts; rinse and repeat. They were equally awful. And I can’t wait for the new season, starting May 20th.

General Hospital

Anna tells Jason that Robert said he was planning on drawing out Henrik using his mother. He says if she’s right about the epigraph, Henrik won’t pass up the chance to meet her. He’s already started looking. Anna tells him to look no further. Henrik’s mother is right there. Instead of wasting time looking, she’ll pretend to be his mother.

On the phone, Peter says he has no reservations; the plan moves forward. Maxie comes into his office, and tells him she’s having a strangely good day. A mysterious someone started a fund in Nathan’s name – Port Charles LEAF, to help support the families of slain police officers. Nathan would have loved it. She wants to thank them, but has to find them first. Peter asks why she needs him?

At Kelly’s, Nina tells Curtis that he needs to dig deeper into Peter’s background. She’s creeped out about him having a file on Nathan. She needs information now, before her niece or nephew is born.

Someone puts yellow roses on Nathan’s grave.

Franco tells Elizabeth that he was just on the phone with one of Jim’s victims. At first, hr said he didn’t know anyone by that name, so Franco just blurted out, he’s dead. The line went silent, but hecame back and asked him to repeat that. He asked who Franco was, and why he was calling. Franco told him – he tells Elizabeth to brace herself – the truth. He said Jim had hurt him as a child. He’s had relief now that Jim is dead, and wanted to pass the peace on.

Jason asks why Anna would use herself as a decoy. She says why involve an innocent person? If the epigraph is right, she’s stayed under the radar, including Faison’s. She understands those risks, and as a mother, understands reconnecting with a child. She wouldn’t have to fake anything, just remember.

Maxie tells Peter the fund was set up anonymously in Nathan’s name. He says they’d have a board of directors, but Maxie doesn’t recognize any of the names. He says maybe the donor wants their charitable act to speak for itself. She should accept the gift, and know that others in similar circumstances are provided for. She says she’s lucky; she can take care of the baby. The help for families experiencing the same loss deserves a personal thank you.

Nina sees Valentin at Nathan’s grave. She says he’s the culprit. She’s seen fresh flowers every day, and wondered who was so thoughtful as to make a sad place beautiful. He says, guilty as charged. He wishes he could do more. She suggests slaying a dragon, and he says he would do that for her. She tells him the pain is unbearable, but necessary. It’s the body’s way of paying tribute to the one you’ve lost. I can’t say I’ve ever heard that before. She says it reminds her that everything didn’t go dark when Nathan left. Maxie is another reminder, and him. She tells him roses are unexpected and lovely. You have to be careful with them, but it’s worth it. Valentin says she’s always been his consolation, and he wants to know how he can return the favor. She wishes she knew. She starts to cry, and says its’s been three months. It’s not getting any better, but here and now, this moment is everything. He holds her.

Drew sees Curtis at Kelly’s, and sits with him. Curtis remarks that Sam is back. Drew tells him that she wants to stay on at Aurora.

Franco tells Elizabeth that he didn’t go into detail, but said he forced a confession out of Jim. The guy said he doesn’t know what Franco did, but hoped it hurt. Franco offered his contact information, but they just thanked him, and hung up. Franco could hear rage in his voice. Elizabeth says he’ll be okay, and Franco says he loves when she tells him things to make him feel better. He’s done; all, but the last two. One died in an accident, but he talked to his sister. He didn’t say why he was calling, and told her he was an old friend who lost touch. He asked if her brother had a good life, and she told Franco that he was a happy guy. He wishes he’d been able to end the horror show before. Elizabeth says, it’s all over; he had a good life and that’s something. Franco says, it’s everything.

Jason asks Anna what the plan is. She wants to email Lulu, and ask for help reaching out to Henrik. She’ll say Henrik’s mother always wanted to know him, but was afraid if she made contact, it would draw Faison’s attention to the both of them. She wants to imply that Henrik’s mother didn’t know Faison raised him, and portray her as having given him up to keep him safe. She was horrified to discover he was in Faison’s hands.

Peter says he’ll help Maxie look for the mysterious benefactor, and he’ll call her if he figures it out. She’s disappointed that he actually has real work to do, but he says his brain needs a break. He’ll start now. He tells her that all nonprofits have to be public. Discovering who the underwriter is shouldn’t be difficult. He types something into his computer, and says it seems to be funded by the personal offshore accounts of PK Sinclair.

Nina tells Valentin that she missed so many things when Nathan was growing up, like what sport he played, and what summer camp he went to. She says Peter knows those things, and Valentin says Peter has nothing to do with Nathan. She asks, then why does he have a file on Nathan in his office?

Drew tells Curtis it hurts to see Sam, but it hurts not to see her. He’s not sure why she wants to stay, since they have Peter running the business. Curtis asks if he trusts Peter, and Drew says he seems like a good guy, and he’s a good manager. He’s happy Peter stayed on. Curtis asks if he was thinking about taking off, and Drew says he thinks Peter was shaken up when Nathan was killed. Curtis wonders what made him stay. Drew doesn’t know, but thinks he’s attached to some people there. Drew wonders why Sam wants to be there if she’s trying to build a new life. He tells Curtis that they’re getting divorced, and Curtis asks if that’s how it is. You go in with hope and faith, thinking you’ll withstand obstacles, then it blows up in your face. Drew is pretty sure they’re not talking about him anymore, but Curtis and Jordan.

Jason asks Anna if she thinks when Henrik reads that his mom has regrets and feelings, it will be enough to draw him out? He asks if she thinks she can play on his sympathies – if he has any. What if his real mother reads the article and surfaces? She says that’s why they have to act quickly. The sooner they do it, the fewer contingencies they’ll have to deal with.

Maxie says she doesn’t want anything to do with Henrik or his money. Peter says he did it anonymously, and probably wanted it to stand on its own. They don’t know if he had anything to do with Nathan’s death. Maxie appreciates his help, but has to go.

Nina tells Valentin that Curtis found the file, and Sam found Curtis. They decided to team up, and investigate together, but that doesn’t bother her. Peter is up to something, and the file proves it. Valentin asks what’s in it, and she says report cards, little league rosters, mementos of Nathan. Valentin says Peter did have Nathan’s blood on his hands; maybe he’s haunted. Nina says he has no right to be haunted. Nathan wasn’t shot in his office. She and Maxie are the ones who live in the shadow of his death every day. Valentin says Peter has to live knowing the man who died could have been him. Nina asks if he’s trying to convince himself that he’s worth of being alive and her brother isn’t.

Curtis apologizes to Drew. He tells Drew that he proposed to Jordan, but they’re on pause. Drew asks what that means, but Curtis doesn’t know either. She had a cancer scare, and in between the red alert and the all good, he proposed. When she found out she was fine, she thought she’d do him a favor, and let him off the hook. Drew says it sounds like didn’t want to be off the hook. Curtis says she did it anyway, and Drew tells him to ask again. Curtis says they have a history, and it’s not pretty or easy. What makes him think it could work?

Franco says all the victims have one thing in common. They all knew what he meant. He thought they’d blame him for not stopping Jim sooner, but hey were too busy blaming themselves. Elizabeth says they were all children. Franco says when he said Jim, they felt fear, but when he said dead, they felt relief. Steve is the last one. He called and left a message. If he doesn’t hear back, he’ll respect Steve’s privacy. He’s glad he did it. He’s glad he could tell these men Jim is dead, and let them know Jim’s hold over them is done. Elizabeth calls him brave, but he tells her not to get carried away. He couldn’t do it in person; he couldn’t be face to face with the victims.

Jason tells Anna that Spinelli is trying to trace the wire transfer. Henrik was careful in covering his tracks, but he has faith in Spinelli’s skills. They’ll have something to fall back on in case this doesn’t work. Anna says it will. She says Lulu has to believe what they’re doing. Peter won’t compromise his journalistic standards, and she doesn’t want Lulu lying to her employer. They can’t risk her telling him, so the only way for it to work is if Lulu believes their acting on behalf of Henrik’s mother.

Nina asks Valentin, what if Peter is studying Nathan? Valentin asks, to what end? and Nina says, Maxie. Maybe he wants to get closer to her. He’s already slept on the sofa. What if he’s trying to fill the Nathan sized hole in Maxie’s heart?

Curtis tells Drew mistakes were made, and his brother Tommy ended up dead. Drew knows it’s late, but says he’s sorry. Curtis says the toughest part is his Aunt Stella.

Franco has to go to art therapy; he has appointments all afternoon. Elizabeth says Monica has the boys, but if they’re asleep when he gets there, she’ll want them to spend the night. He asks if she means he should finish early, and spend time with the boys? Elizabeth has a confession to make; she likes watching him teach. He says who wouldn’t? He’s funny. She says sometimes she pops her head in on the group sessions and watches for a moment. She realizes he’s not surprised, and he says the kids notice too. He tells her, we call you the gopher. She says, we? and he says it was the kids’ idea, and he didn’t feel comfortable not agreeing. He does an imitation of her peeking in, and she hits him with a pillow.

Jason asks Anna, what if Henrik takes the bait? Which I thought was the idea. Anna says they’ll set up a meeting. He asks if she’s planning on meeting Henrik posing as his mother. He says it’s too dangerous, and she asks if he thinks she can’t defend herself. He says not against Henrik. She’s way too close to this.

Nina has to run to a video conference. She thanks Valentin for the flowers. Valentin sees Peter at the bar.

Maxie goes to Nathan’s grave. She says she has a little dilemma, but little means huge. He’s a kind person, and she knows he would think PC LEAF is a great idea; he’s the little boy who gave his change away. She was so excited to get the letter, and to think there’s an actual organization in his name helping people the way he would help if he was here. She knows he would say, let it go; who cares? Let his maniac brother do some good for once. She admits adding maniac in there, but she’s pretty sure he’d say the rest. He’s not there though, and she doesn’t know if she’s strong enough to accept anything from his brother.

Curtis tells Drew that he doesn’t think Stella will accept him marrying Jordan. To her, forgiving doesn’t mean letting it go. Even if he got her blessing, no blessing will guarantee it will work. Drew tells him that his pep talk is wack. Drew asks if he loves her. Curtis says he does, but Stella… Drew knows it’s easier said than done, but no one lives his life. If he wants to marry her, ask her. Curtis writes something down, and hands it to Drew. Drew asks if he’s setting him up. Curtis says he is, with Sally Young, a no nonsense attorney. She’ll help with the divorce. Drew guesses he has to do this.

Franco calls Elizabeth gopher, and says he has his own confession. He leaves the door to the art therapy room open, secretly hoping she’ll join in. She’s an artist, and he’d love to see her working out her frustrations that way. She says she loves watching him with the kids; he’s great with them. He says he’s emotionally immature, but it must be confusing to them, since he’s bigger than they are. Elizabeth says he gets them to open up, and lets them see him as a friend rather than a therapist. He says they’re sick kids, and had enough of grownups telling them stuff. Art gives them a sense of control, and he oversees it until they figure it out for themselves. Elizabeth says he’s more than that adult entity with an artist side for the kids. He’s a kindred spirit, and understands being a child in pain. All he knows is that the kids are his favorite patients. He’s there to help them as much as they help him.

Franco’s phone dings. He says Steve sent him a text. He wants to meet in person to discuss Jim.

Valentin asks Peter if he’s enjoying a last meal; he’s getting reckless. He tells Peter about Curtis finding the file on Nathan, and asks why he’s not keeping it at his place. Peter says he keeps it where he spends the most time. Valentin asks why keep it at all? Peter asks how else is he going to know his brother? Valentin was supposed to be keeping his wife off the trail, and Valentin suggests he clean it up. Peter says Nina is Valentin’s responsibility, not his; he’s losing his touch. Valentin says he has it under control.

Maxie says she’s trying. She’s bending into a pretzel trying to make peace with this. She asks Nathan not to be disappointed, but since he left, her heart doesn’t open that wide anymore. She knows he would give Henrik the benefit of the doubt, but she’s not there. She’s not him. Maybe Henrik is doing it out of guilt. Good. She hopes he feels bad, but she won’t let him use Nathan’s memory to ease his conscience.

Nina goes through Peter’s files. She finds what she’s looking for, and pulls out a giant folder. She’s looking through it, when Peter comes in. He asks what she thinks she’s doing. She tells him, you first. What is he doing with this scrapbook? What does he think he’s doing?

Jason tells Anna that she can’t be objective; she’s too involved. She thinks Henrik is a good guy, and wants to rescue him. She says it’s called compassion, but he says it’s blinding her to the risks. Henrik is definitely not innocent, and whether he thinks she’s his mother or finds out she’s a WSB agent, he’ll probably kill her either way. Anna says he’s making assumptions. He asks if she’s willing to defend herself. Going there empty handed with good intentions will get her killed, and he can’t let that happen. She’s Robin’s mother; she’s family. Anna says, he’s not. He asks what it is that she won’t tell him. This is messing with her judgement, and making her choose to take chances. She says they’re necessary chances. Jason needs her to promise and give her word that she’ll call him when she’s going to meet Henrik. Anna asks if Jason is going to kill him, but he says he wants to protect her. She said she trusted him, so please do. She says all right, she promises. If she hears from Henrik, she’ll call him before she leaves.

After Jason is gone, Anna sits on the steps and cries.

On Monday, Robert tells Anna if she hangs around a hornet’s nest she’ll get stung, Carly says Nelle has an agenda (like we haven’t heard that before), and Nina asks Valentin why Peter has the file.

Southern Charm

Craig is working on being a budding hoarder. At least his place looks like he is. He calls someone about their life coach services. He thinks it would be great to have a teammate. He can’t handle fighting with Naomie, and isn’t liking himself right now. She asks to come to his house, and he says he’s looking forward to starting the process.

Cameran looks at baby clothes, and her mom, Bonnie, meets her. She’s looking for a going home outfit because the baby needs to make a good impression. Bonnie fawns over a tiny pair of red boots, and Cameran says what we’re all thinking – infants don’t need shoes. She says Palmer hasn’t been born yet, and has more clothes than she does, but she needs a going home outfit because in the South, that’s what you do. She remembers falling off the bed as an infant, and Bonnie says that’s why she’s messed up now. In her interview, Cameran say her mom was never super maternal, and she started doing her own laundry at seven years old. After the divorce, they had to fend for themselves. She hasn’t read any books on pregnancy, since she’s trying to let go of the control thing. I guess she’s trying to let go of the be prepared thing too. Bonnie says she’s never gone off the deep end with anything, and Cameran says, not yet. She prays her daughter looks at her the same way she looks at her mother; she was the best.

Shep meets Austen at a bar. Shep says most of his friends are married with kids, but they’re living vicariously through him. He lets everyone down, and it’s like a circle of shame. In his interview, Austen says he and Shep couldn’t be more different. When he’s single, he sees himself acting like Shep, so he jumps into a relationship. Naomie joins them. She says it was waterfalls (I think she means waterworks) seeing Craig at Shep’s party, but when they met later, it was impossible to reason with him. Austen says you have to chip it off. Not Craig’s wing-wang, but their relationship. Chelsea arrives, and asks if Austen has made out with anyone lately. Shep says what about Peyton, but Austen says they’re just friends. Chelsea tells them Craig has a crush on Peyton, and it’s the first time he’s been interested in someone else since he and Naomie broke up. Naomie wants to see a picture, and Austen brings one up on his phone. Naomie says, whatever, and rolls her eyes. No surprise, since Peyton looks like a model, and while Naomie is pretty, her mean-spirited attitude makes her look like a weasel. She says that Craig tries to make her feel guilty and bad; he says one thing, and does another. She wants the addresses of Peyton’s entire family, because she is a batsh*t crazy stalker. I honestly don’t get it. She obviously doesn’t like almost anything about Craig, and they broke up. For the love of all that’s holy, move on.

Craig checks in at the sewing store. It’s been his escape since the break-up. Kathryn meets him there. In her interview, Kathryn talks about Craig’s many passions, and says. hashtag fill-in-the-blank Craig. He asks if she or the kids need anything, and she calls him a DIY star. He tells her about meeting with Naomie, thinking it was a getting back together meeting. Kathryn says he needs to prove his worth to himself, not someone else. She doesn’t want to see him beating himself up, and thinks he won’t flourish (her word) if he doesn’t break the cycle. I’m in total agreement, but I’m not sure if I’ve ever used the word flourish even once in my life. Well, now I have. Kathryn says being forced to figure things out for herself was liberating. She suggests he and Naomie take time apart. He says now she’s the one giving him advice, and she says it makes no sense. Kathryn, the surprising new voice of reason.

Austen has dinner with his parents and sister, who’s eight years his junior. After his other sister passed away, it was a dark time for their family. After having another girl, life began again. His father asks what’s going on in Charleston, and his mom asks if he’s dating. She was sad about Chelsea. He says it was rocky at first, since he was dating one of her friends. His mom says he left his last brewing company a while ago, and she’s concerned; what is he doing? He thinks he’d like to explore making his own beer. His father doesn’t look thrilled. He asks if Austen has recipes or a brewer, but that’s a no. His sister asks if he wants to do it in Charleston, and he says that’s what he’s thinking. His mother doesn’t want to just hear talk. He feels pressure to follow in their work ethic footsteps. She says when he gets started, they’ll talk about investment. They toast to Austen beer. Pressure, maybe, but they seem pretty supportive.

Life Coach Laura arrives at Craig’s. She wants to dive in. She wants him to tell her about himself, and says she’s going to be super curious. He grew up in Delaware, and went to college, including law school. He tells Laura that he isn’t currently doing anything, and she asks what he lives on. He has some investments generating income, but it’s not what he could be doing. He admits to talking over people, telling her that he can finish everyone’s sentences in his head. Which doesn’t make it any less rude. Laura asks what that tells him about himself, and he says his mind is hyperactive. Isn’t that what we used to call ADD, ADHD, or some combination of those letters? Laura tells him not to put it in a negative light. He’s a fast processor, and it’s a way of measuring intelligence. She says he’s smart, makes good eye contact, is likeable, and cute. In his interview, Craig says he’s actually an awesome person. When he was with Naomie, she was always negative and final. We flash back to some of that. Laura says he starts off confident, but drops into a negative description of himself. She tells him to focus on being accurate and positive, and listening.. His homework is to create a self-portrait of himself and his world, in as much detail as possible. He’s excited.

Thomas meets Whitney and Patricia at a French restaurant. In her interview, Patricia says Whitney studied in Paris, but Thomas speaks Pepe Le Pew French. Thomas remarks on Patricia’s large ring, and she tells him it’s not the engagement ring. She believes in the institution of marriage, and says men aren’t getting married anymore. Thomas says – wait for it – why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free? Which just proves what century he’s from, and why he shouldn’t be hanging out with these youngsters. Patricia says there are other factors, like companionship. She asks how it’s going with Ashley. He says, great, but he sees a side he doesn’t like. Sometimes she’s not that sweet, friendly girl. She lacks subtlety, which he chalks up to being northern, and her energy can be overwhelming. We see a clip of her telling him she wants to get married and have babies, but like how a tiger might say it. Patricia says she’s a hospice nurse, so she has empathy and compassion. She admires that. In her interview, Patricia wonders why Thomas, of all people, should demand perfection? Thomas tells Patricia that Ashley might reach out to her about learning how to blend into southern culture. In his interview, Whitney doubts she’ll learn anything. She’s not southern, and it’s in the DNA. Patricia suggests going shopping, and Thomas says he’ll lend Ashley his credit card. Patricia says, in that case, they’ll go to New York. I assume she means City.

Austen meets Chelsea for golf. He’s ecstatic when he knows he’s going to be with her; he still gets butterflies. Chelsea misses being his friend. In her interview, she says she wouldn’t say they’d never get together again – there’s always potential. He asks what she’s doing this weekend. She has no plans, so he has some for her. Peyton wants to co-host a Halloween party with him, so she can meet some people. Chelsea wonders how Naomie will handle it. Austen says his dad living the life he wants – retired life. Chelsea doesn’t want him to turn into Shep. He thinks he’s staying in the industry, and is thinking of making his own beer; his parents will ultimately back him. Chelsea tells him to put some effort into it. Someone needs to light a fire under him. He says they have, and their names are Tom and Wendy (his parents). She says, and Chelsea.

Naomie and Cameran meet for a pedicure. Cameran is ready to have this kid. Naomie asks if Jason is coddling her, and she says, if wasn’t for Michael, she wouldn’t have foot rubs. She tells Naomie that foot massages sometimes induce labor, and Naomie encourages her not to have the baby there. Naomie says there’s dark around Craig (yeah, it’s called Naomie), and Cameran asks if she’d be fine if he dated someone else. Naomie gives her a resounding yes. She tells Cameran about Peyton, and how Craig said it was the first time he thought he could like someone. Cameran says she’s met her. She’s tall, blonde, and has big boobs. We see a clip of Cameran telling Peyton she’s like a Nordic alien. She does have piercing eyes. Naomie says there must be a drought; she seems thirsty. She says Peyton went after Shep, Austen, and now Craig. Cameran doesn’t think she should be bothered. In her interview, Cameran says Craig has never been a ladies’ man, and it’s throwing Naomie for a loop. Naomie asks if Cameran is going to the Halloween party. Cameran says she is, if she hasn’t delivered by then.

The Halloween party kikis commence. Peyton and Austen go over last-minute stuff on the wharf, where the party is being held. Peyton is a unicorn, and Austen is a chick magnet, putting no thought into his costume whatsoever, and wearing a graphic sweater with chicks and a magnet on it. The chicks actually look like rubber duckies, so this is lazy on a few levels. Craig remarks to roommate Sean that he’s going to a party to get yelled at by Naomie. Sean says they need to cut things off. Naomie asks if the other girls can tell who she is. Kathryn thinks she’s Kris Jenner, but she’s Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) from Pulp Fiction. Cameran feels like crap, and isn’t coming. Kathryn – I don’t know what/who she’s supposed to be, but she’s rocking a nearly nude, sparkly gown – asks what the deal with Peyton is. Naomie says she tried to date Shep, and it didn’t work out; then it didn’t work out with Austen, and now Craig’s thinking of dating her. Chelsea thinks it’s human nature not to like a girl your ex is dating. Maybe, but it’s not human nature to be a batsh*t crazy stalker.

Kathryn can’t tell if Peyton is cute or not, since she’s covered in blue body paint. Naomie repeats ad nauseum that Craig said she’s the first girl he could see himself liking. Shep is even more disappointed in Austen’s costume than I am. Both he and Craig come as pirates, and Sean looks like a leprechaun. Kathryn tells Naomie to let Craig come to her. JD (bleh) is dressed like a very short Donald Trump. Kathryn talks to Thomas about what the kids are doing for Halloween. He thought of inviting her trick-or-treating with them. She says she hopes they get to the point where they can do things like that together, but it’s too soon. She’s turned into Yoda Kathryn. Too soon it is. Peyton likes Shep dressed up, and he says he never shirks costume duty.

Naomie talks trash about Peyton. She and her elementary school friends laugh because Peyton is blue, and everyone knows unicorns are white. Oh yeah? Ever seen one? Naomie says blah-blah-blah to Craig. In his interview, Craig says he’s taking the high road. If he doesn’t, he thinks he and Naomie will never talk again. He tells Sean it’s confusing. The nice Naomie is here. Sean thinks Naomie was being flirty. Austen introduces Naomie to Peyton.

Naomie asks why Peyton is there, and Peyton says because she wanted to move back to the south; she fell in love with Charleston. I could actually see that. Except for the heat. That makes it a no for me. Naomie asks if that’s because it’s a hub for dog boutiques (an interest of Peyton’s). She says to be honest, she doesn’t support Peyton. She sees Peyton’s intentions. She went after Shep, Austen, and Craig. She’s shooting darts. Peyton doesn’t know what to say, since she only talked to Craig for fifteen minutes; she doesn’t know him. Naomie says she’s protective of her friends, and she knows Peyton is thirsty. Peyton says Naomie obviously has something against her that has to do with Craig. Naomie calls her a thirsty bitch. She sees through her, and is better than her. She’s going after any guy here. Peyton says everyone knows she’s not like that, and calls Naomie a middle-schooler. Thank you. Peyton says she’s about to get pushed overboard. Craig says the sh*t is hitting the fan.

Peyton walks away. Austen follows. She tells Austen about what Naomie said. He tells her that Naomie is angry because she thinks Craig is into her. It’s Naomie’s insecurity talking; Peyton threatens her. He says he’s sorry, and hugs her. In his interview, he says for the longest time, he thought Naomie was an angel for putting up with Craig. Now he thinks, good for Craig, not putting up with Naomie.

Craig says, wtf? to Naomie. She says she’s protecting him from someone who wants to use him for social climbing. Shep says she’s in shambles (I love some of their phraseology). Naomie insists that Peyton is using him. Shep asks why she came if she didn’t want to meet Peyton? Naomie says she came for them, and how dare he take her side? He says he’s not on anyone’s side, and was just trying to do a nice favor. Naomie tells him to get real. Craig asks what happened, and Naomie says Peyton is a thirsty bitch, which seems to be all she can come up with, since she’s said it how many times now. In his interview, Craig says they’ve gotten a glimpse of Naomie in the wild. Ha-ha-ha! Usually she stays behind closed doors and feeds on Craig’s soul. Omg, I literally lol’d. He says she’s scary as sh*t. He tells Naomie that he was considering hooking up with Peyton, and it felt good to feel liked. Naomie says he’s a liar. He says she can keep burning bridges; he doesn’t give a flying. She says she doesn’t care about him, and Craig tells Sean, same as it ever was always goes. They high five.

Next time, Patricia asks Craig to design a pillow, Thomas flirts with Kathryn, Peyton makes an appearance, and Shep tells Chelsea a lie about Austen.

😲 A Mini Lexture

It stuns me every time I see people this age acting like children. While I didn’t exactly live a Sex in the City life, that would have been closer to my reality back then. Without the money. And the hot guys. And the shoes. And pretty much everything else. Anyway, in my group of friends, if a guy had wronged one of us, woe to him with all of us, but we would have had a sit-down with Naomie. She’s tracked Craig, harassed him at a party, and talked about him in a negative way incessantly. She seems to hate him, yet won’t let him go. Now she’s come at that poor girl, whose only sin was to talk to Craig for a few minutes. It’s just inexcusable behavior.

General Hospital

Jason needs Spinelli to go through the book again, to see if anything leads to Henrik’s mother.

Robert asks Anna to tell him again why it’s a good idea to involve Jason. He tells he that she’s in trouble. Jason is looking for Henrik’s mother.

Finn has nothing to say to Chase. Alexis tries to intervene, and he tells her it’s none of her business.

Griff asks why Ava didn’t tell him the truth. She asks him to calm down, so they can talk. He says so she can lie to him again. She led him to believe there was a compromise, when she threatened to send a harmless old man to prison so she could get what she wanted.

Sonny tells Carly that he’s not blaming her. He’s angry with himself for not keeping a closer watch on Mike, and relying on everyone else. She says by “everyone else,” he means her.

Sam asks if Jason has heard from Spinelli, and he says he just left Spinelli a message to find clues about Henrik’s mother in the book. She asks if he’s planning on using her as bait to draw Henrik out, and he says unless he finds another option. She tells him Spinelli tracked the wire transfer to ten different accounts, but none of them point to Henrik or his alias. She tells Jason that she had fun in Switzerland. When she got back, she was ready to leave Aurora, but changed her mind.

Alexis apologizes to Finn for overstepping. He says he shared with her and she went behind his back. Chase says it’s an awkward family reunion, and Finn says she misled them both by bringing them there. She says she’s sorry; she had no right, and it was ill-advised. But now that the dam has broken, they might as well talk. She says, see you later; hopefully, Finn will pick up when she calls. Chase asks if Finn wants to hash it out.

Ava tells Griff that she was going to talk to him after things settled down; Lucy showed up, and it wasn’t the right time. He asks how long before she was going to admit using Sonny’s father as a bargaining chip? She tells him she’d do anything to get Avery back, since Sonny kept her daughter from her since she’s been born. He says it sounds like revenge, not parental concern. She talks about how she had to bow and scrape to Sonny, just to get a measly hour. He says two wrongs don’t make a right, and Ava says, how profound. Griff tells her that she knows Mike wasn’t trying to kidnap Avery, but Ava says he shouldn’t have been left alone with her. He says it was an accident, and she says, one that can’t happen again. Against her better judgement, she dropped the charges. Griff says Mike is innocent; it’s just common decency. She asks when they’ve been decent to her. She wouldn’t have gotten shared custody without leverage. She’s sorry her behavior isn’t moral enough for him, but Mike is home, and she has 50% custody, which is 50% more than she had when he wandered off with Avery. She regrets nothing. Griff asks what she would have done if Sonny hadn’t agreed. Send an innocent old man with Alzheimer’s to prison to waste away?

Carly tells Sonny that he didn’t say the words, but made his point. He doesn’t trust her, and thinks she’s unstable and just as confused as Mike. She left Avery with the nanny, and Mike happened to be there. She didn’t blow them off to go to the movies. She agrees that she should have been more careful, but none of them realized how much he’d slipped. Sonny asks if she expected to see Morgan alive when she went to his grave.

Sam says she told Drew she wanted to stay on, and they’ll see how it goes. Jason hopes it works out. She doesn’t want to sit behind a desk, but it will do for now. She tells Jason anytime he needs someone to help infiltrate a bank, call her. He says she’ll be his first call. Sam says, oh, by the way, she and Drew are getting a divorce.

Robert tells Anna that Jason wants to get Henrik out of hiding by using his mom as bait. She says it’s not a terrible plan. Robert says it’s a save bet that Jason will add two and two together, and come up with her. She says only Andre, Robert, and Valentin know about it, and none of them will tell, but Robert says don’t be too sure.

David tells Kiki that one of the opportunities she has is to see how a patient’s health can change over their stay at the hospital. He asks her why he reduced a certain patient’s meds, and she answers correctly. He says she has a knack for general care, and he’s going to request she do another tour. It might seem like nothing, but looks good that she’s been invited back. She says yesterday, he made it clear that she didn’t have what takes. He tells her that he didn’t say that; he reprimanded her. She says afterwards, she was thisclose to dropping out. He asks what changed?

Ava tells Griff that she had Sonny where she wanted. He asks what if he still wouldn’t agree? Would she have had the court throw the book at Mike? She says everyone got what they wanted; no one lost. She tells him not to judge a hypothetical situation. She is mad about something though. How he undermined her case by handing over Mike’s medical files. He says she’s mad at him for doing his job?

Carly tells Sonny the note said to find me where you left me. She wasn’t sure it was from Morgan, but she couldn’t help hoping. Sonny wishes he could wipe away the last two years, but tells Carly that she can’t give in to a fantasy. Carly says it’s a possibility; they never found the body. I have news for her. On a soap, it’s a possibility even if they find the body. Sonny says they found traces, but she says maybe he’s still alive, like Jason. She could smell his cologne, like he’d just been there, but he wasn’t. Sonny admits he would have done the same thing, but would have told her instead of Jason. She says he would have told Jason or Max or Dante, but not her. He confesses he would want to spare her the pain of reliving Morgan’s death. He says he’d want to spare her the hope and paranoia she’s felt since this started. He’s trying to believe her, but how does she explain the note? He wants her to explain how it made her leave Mike with Avery. He thinks there must be a logical explanation, but is starting to doubt it.

Finn assumes Chase is a good detective, and wonders why he’d think Finn wants to continue the conversation. Chase tells Finn that he’d said his beef wasn’t with him. Finn says it’s with their dad. Chase says he knows that their dad remarried quickly after Finn’s mom passed away. Finn says he doesn’t know anything. By the time he born, Finn didn’t want anything to do with their dad – or him. He can’t even look at Chase. Chase asks if it’s because their father remarried.

Carly tells Sonny about the meds Doc prescribed for anxiety, to take the edge off. Sonny thinks meds are great. I’m with him – better living through chemistry! He tells her not to be embarrassed. He’s proud that she went to see Doc. He knows how difficult it is to ask for help, but it’s an important step. Doc will help her sort through what’s real or fantasy. Lucy interrupts, saying she can’t thank Sonny enough for his generous donation. He says, anything for the Nurses’ Ball. Lucy needs to talk to Carly regarding a tiny situation about seating. Carly says they’re in the middle of something, but Sonny says he’ll wait.

Ava says Griff claims to be on her side, but he’s against her. He says if he withheld information, he could lose his medical license. He’s already given up one calling for her. Ooh, bad Griff. She asks what’s that supposed to mean, and he says, nothing. I decide that I don’t care how good-looking he is. If I was Ava, I’d tell him to go practice Relationship 101 on someone else. He says he’s not angry. She says she doesn’t blame him for being a good doctor, or person. She wishes she could tell him to do things differently, but she can’t. She wishes she could live up to the high moral standards he has, but she can’t. The one thing she does regret is not being honest with him. She’s truly sorry, and asks where that leaves them.

Anna tells Robert that Andre would never betray her confidence. Robert says she assumes he won’t, and she thinks it’s a logical assumption. She thinks the box was meant for Helena, and asks if Robert told Jason it was made only six months ago. Robert says no; it’s not like Jason has Bureau clearance. Anna says she has nothing to worry about, and he tells her that lying to herself always bothers her. Talking more to herself, Anna says, Jason is methodical and picks up on slight inconsistencies. He has phenomenal tech support in Spinelli. He’ll pick up on anything she missed. She has to stay one step ahead of Jason – and she knows how.

Sam tells Jason that she and Drew agreed it needs to happen. Scout is still young, and it’s just about paperwork and moving on – whatever that means; she’ll figure it out. She will. She has to. Jason needs to meet Sonny. Sam tells him to say hi to them, and when things settle down, they’ll reconnect. Alexis comes in as Jason is leaving, and sits with Sam. She asks what Sam needs to see her about, and Sam says she needs Alexis to represent her in the divorce.

Lucy apologizes to Carly for what happened last year. She had no idea what Ava was doing with Morgan’s meds, and didn’t mean to withhold information. Carly thanks her for say that. She knew in her heart that he was taking his meds. When she knew for sure, she knew he did everything he could. She’s proud of him. Lucy asks, what wrong? and Carly says, it’s been over a year, but the grief is always there. She thought she was starting to heal. Now she feels like she’s losing her mind.

Jason meets Sonny, and asks how Mike is. Sonny tells him about Mike being charged with kidnapping. Sonny explains how Dante found them in the stalls, and that Mike thought Avery was Courtney. Ava didn’t want to let it go, so he was charged with kidnapping. Leverage was the only way he’d drop full custody. She wanted him to pick between his daughter and father. He called bluff, saying he’d take her to family court, so they agreed to joint custody. Jason knows it must have cost him, but Sonny says the bigger problem is Carly.

Griff tells Ava that he needs to get to work. He says he’ll see her later. Despite her methods, he’s happy Avery is back in her life. He kisses her goodbye. Kind of like the kiss you get after you’ve been married a while.

David asks if Kiki was really going to quit the Shadow Program. She thought maybe he was still mad about what happened. He says he was treating her like a mentor. She says, sorry, but she’s confused. He says he might have bene tough, but that’s because he sees so much potential. He says when you work together, feelings get hurt, things are said, people lose their cool. He’s treating her the way his mentor tested him. He thinks she’s something special. It would be a shame if she left the program.

Sam tells Alexis that she was right. She shouldn’t have rushed into marriage with Drew again. The hardest thing was forcing herself to believe it was going to work out, and her life doesn’t need to be rebuilt. It takes resilience, courage, and honesty. Alexis says she has those. Sam thinks she also has a good attorney.

Sonny tells Jason about how Carly followed an imaginary note that took her to Morgan’s grave. It was on the back of a flyer, but when she showed it to the cop, it was blank. Jason asks where it is now; they’ll have Spinelli check it out. Sonny says there was no writing, like there was no scarf and no intruder. The theory is that it’s something in her head because of her grief for Morgan.

Carly says Lucy will probably think she’s as craxy as Sonny does. Lucy says it’s no secret she believes she’s connected to the spiritual world. Some things send messages and signals. Carly doesn’t think she’s seeing what she wants to keep him with her. Lucy says when our loved ones are gone, they’re not really gone; they’re with us. Lee left his office to her, and she feels his presence; he’s with her there. Their essence becomes part of you. If you believe you can hold on to someone you loved dearly, it doesn’t make you crazy – it makes you human.

Finn asks why Chase is pressing the family thing. Chase says they share DNA. Finn asks if he needs a kidney or something. Chase asks if he’s always this suspicious, and Finn says, this is him on a good day. Chase says family is more than biology. Finn traveled the world to get away; now they’re in the same town. They must have unfinished business. They were born a generation apart, but they’re from the same blood, and were raised by the same man: not a bad place to start. Finn says Chase seems like a good guy. There are reasons he walked away and never looked back. Chase asks if it’s because their father remarried. Finn knows Chase had his heart set on a brother relationship, but he’s got to realize that it’s never going to happen.

Alexis suggests Sam and Drew file under irreconcilable differences. It’s a catch-all for difficult situations, and this one is really difficult. She asks about Scout, and Sam says they don’t want to fight. Alexis says to get it in writing to avoid conflict in the future. Sam says if Drew wants 50% custody, she’ll agree. Aurora can just move forward as planned. Alexis asks why she’s making an excuse to stay at a company she already owns?

Jason wonders why Sonny is assuming Carly is making it up. He went with her to the phone booth. Sonny says she heard an explosion. Was there any evidence of that? There’s no evidence of the scarf, or of an intruder. Jason says they could have had a key, and Sonny says he always defends Carly. Something has changed in the five years he was gone. They lost their son. Jason doesn’t know lost how much she grieved. How much she’s still grieving. Jason gets a call from Anna.

Anna says she needs to see Jason. It’s important. It effects how they move forward regarding Henrik. She says she’s at home, and he tells her that he’s on his way. Robert hopes she knows what she’s doing.

Sam says there are Issues that have to be resolved at Aurora with Drew. She has to be there for the time being, to make sure everything is okay. When that’s done, she’ll sign it over; it’s Drew’s dream. Alexis asks, what about hers? Sam says she’s trying to figure it out; figure her out. She wants to live honestly, and do something she’s good at. She wants to have a goal anyway. Alexis has every confidence she’ll reach it. She’ll contact Drew’s lawyer, and do the preliminary filing. Sam asks how it went with Finn, assuming she hasn’t blown it. Alexis says she’s blown it all to hell.

Chase says Finn couldn’t have been more clear. It’s not what he wanted to hear, but at least Finn is consistent. He thanks Finn for talking, and Finn says he had no choice. Chase tells him to go easy on Alexis; she has a good heart, and seems nice. He’ll see Finn later – or not. He tells Finn to have a good life. Finn says, him too.

David tells Kiki that she did good today. Kiki sees Griff, who says she seems to be doing better. She says she just overreacted. David apologized for berating her. Griff has no idea what she’s talking about. Kiki says David was just in a mood, and she took it personally. He says she seemed to think his attitude stemmed from something that happened between them. She says it was just a test, and she passed.

Griff sees David. David walks away. Griff ponders. He’s almost as good at that as worrying.

Ava puts on lipstick, and sees her old face in the mirror. Then it’s gone.

Sonny is sorry he’s letting Ava have her way, and Carly says it’s the last thing she wanted; she’s sorry. He says she did was she felt was right. He just wishes it hadn’t escalated. He’s happy she’s seeing Doc. They’ll be able to put this behind them, and move forward. He hugs her.

Jason goes to Anna’s house. She asks if he’s turned anything up about Henrik. She heard he’s planning on using Henrik’s mother to draw him out. He says if she’s right about epigraph, how could he pass up the chance? He’s already started looking. She says look no further. Henrik’s mother is right here.

Tomorrow, Franco says all the people on the list have one thing in common, Jason asks if Anna is offering herself as a decoy, and Maxie wonders why Peter would want mementos of Nathan.

The Real Housewives of New York City

Ramona goes shopping to get a latte machine for Avery. In her interview, she says Avery is very focused, sets goals, and makes it happen. Like her. Not unless those things mean she’s irritating. She wants to host a Christmas shopping party at Henri Bendel for the girls. She’s inviting Sonja, even though she’s been alienating the rest of them.

In her interview, Bethenny says Sonja is a leper, and it’s upsetting. Sonja visits her in the apartment under construction. She explains the vision to Sonja, and we all salivate over the massive walk-in closet. I think the closet bigger than my first NYC apartment. Sonja says it was an emotional weekend. She and Ramona are both feeling pain, but Ramona isn’t feeling hers. She says even prison bitches have someone loyal to them. In her interview, Bethenny thinks Sonja doesn’t have good self-esteem, and Ramona uses her for a doormat. Sonja feels hurt that Tinsley is making her out to be a villain. Bethenny tells her to focus on twenty words or less; get it out and step away.

Tinsley meets Carole, who’s shopping for wake-up-cute wear. Tinsley is going to Chicago to try and make things work with Scott, but is feeling excruciating pressure. She saw Carole and Adam together at the marathon, and says they’re totally girlfriend/boyfriend. Carole says they’re not, although they’ve slipped back into a relationship. He’s not interested in seeing someone else, which she would feel it’s a betrayal. Tinsley suggests they’re friends with benefits. Carole googles it, and says, not them.

Bethenny is having her first foray into denim. She’s launching a massive jean line. She’s always been into jeans, and thinks the SkinnyGirl logo would look cute on the backside. I like them. Bethenny says they’re comfortable, but what is she? A minus zero? She gets some photos taken of her wearing them.

LuAnn takes Dorinda to an apartment she’s looking at. She wants something furnished. She likes the Hamptons on the weekends, but has to be in the city during the week. She thinks it’s beautiful, but a lot of apartment. The realtor says if she just wants a central location, she knows someone who might want to rent. She steps away to make a call, and LuAnn says sorry about what happened in the Hamptons. Dorinda goes on about the difference between burying a husband versus divorcing one, and how Sonja doesn’t make her feel positive. LuAnn feels sorry for Sonja, but Dorinda says she’s a rattlesnake. Once bitten, twice shy.

A traveling spa person comes to Tinsley’s hotel room, lights some candles, and massages her hands. That will be five grand, please.

Carole calls LuAnn, who’s late for tea with her. In her interview, Carole says they had a lighter, friendlier relationship in the beginning, but things have changed. LuAnn can’t figure out why, but we flash back to the deterioration of their friendship. Carole doesn’t want to go through another period with uncomfortable energy. She asks if LuAnn is upset about anything, and brings up LuAnn calling Adam a toy boy, but LuAnn says it was just a joke. LuAnn does think Carole could have sent her a message after the divorce. Carole thinks it would have been insincere. LuAnn didn’t feel obligated to send one when she and Adam broke up, but she’s not dwelling on it. LuAnn says they were traveling different roads, and need to get back on the same one. In her interview, LuAnn thinks the tension between them is petty and just wants to live in peace.

There’s a knock at Tinsley’s door. It’s Scott with flowers. She’s shocked, and literally falls to the floor. She hasn’t seen him for two and a half months, and this is the best surprise she’s ever had. He says she should come to Chicago tonight. She says she’s already packed, and as much as she loves shopping, she loves Scott more. She calls Carole, who says she was in on it. She says she’ll let Ramona know Tinsley won’t be there. In her interview, Carole hopes Tinsley is maintaining some mystery. Tinsley was saving some flowers Carole gave her when she and Scott broke up, and asks him if she can throw them away now. I don’t get it, but okay.

Bethenny discusses the hurricane in Puerto Rico with her assistant. She says it’s still a horror show there. She has plans to get cash cards to the people when there are places to shop again. Her assistant asks if she’s proud at the success of her mission to help, and Bethenny says she’s shocked. Dorinda is the one person who asked her about it. Bethenny says you need a strong constitution to deal with it, and thinks Dorinda will get down and dirty.

In her interview, Ramona says the girls will get special discounts at the Henri Bendel event. She insists on redecorating the space, and makes the employees nervous when she starts moving things around. Carole tells her Tinsley isn’t coming because Scott surprised her. She’s going back to Chicago with him.

In the car, Tinsley tells Scott nothing is more important. She calls her mother, and we flash back to her mom giving her advice. She says she thought room service was at the door, but it was Scott. She literally fell on the ground. Her mother asks if he’s coming for Christmas. Her mother babbles about making him a stocking, and how she can include a dog Scott loved, who belonged to another girlfriend. Tinsley is like, no, you won’t be doing that.

Tom’s ex, Missy shows up. Ramona has outdone herself in insensitivity. We flash back to the mess that was Tom and LuAnn. Ramona gushes over Missy. LuAnn slips in, and can’t believe it. She greets Ramona, and says hello to Missy, channeling her Countess self. In her interview. LuAnn says Tom could be coming out from the dressing room before she knows it. Ramona tells Carole it’s a big party, and LuAnn doesn’t see Tom anymore anyway. Carole asks if Sonja is coming, but Ramona doesn’t know. Ramona tells LuAnn that Sonja is confused and irrational. LuAnn says, there’s a disconnect.

And here she comes. Looking pretty good in a black coat with a leopard scarf. Missy introduces some dude named Richard to LuAnn. Carole says it’s nice to see them talking, and Missy says she never had a problem with LuAnn. Carole says, dump the guy keep the girl. Sonja jokes that she doesn’t know if she’s buying or selling. In her interview, Sonja says after the pep talk with Bethenny, she’s going to say less and mean more.

Dorinda arrives. Carole has to go to another engagement. LuAnn leaves Ramona and Sonja alone to talk, but they don’t. Sonja says she’s looking for a vegetable, since she’s not eating meat. She follows that with saying Ramona knows everything about her, and she would never cheat on her husband. But instead of sticking up for her, Ramona told her to apologize. Ramona says people says things when they’re angry. In her interview, Ramona says she didn’t want to share what Sonja had told her in confidence, and she’s a big girl. She tells Sonja that she doesn’t take sides. They’re not in high school, and she can fight her own battles. They start over-talking one another, and cupping their hands near their mouths, like when Ramona screamed, take a Xanax! They’re doing this in Henri Bendel. Sonja says she told Ramona to apologize for a reason. In her interview, Sonja says Ramona slaps a Band-Aid on things, and it doesn’t work that way. She wants to choke Ramona sometimes. Don’t we all.

LuAnn tells Dorinda that Richard invited her out. He asks how Dorinda knows LuAnn, and Dorinda says they were lovers. Ha-ha-ha! Richard backs away, saying he’s getting another drink. LuAnn says Dorinda is the worst wingwoman ever.

Ramona tells Sonja that she’s concerned about her, and will try to be there for her. Sonja says what made dam break was Dorinda saying she didn’t just bury her husband. She brings up Richard once an hour. She feels Dorinda’s pain, but not vice versa. She whines again that Ramona was never there for her, and Ramona says she’s trying to help her. In her interview, Ramona says it’s frustrating. Everyone feels the same way, but on one has the ball to tell Sonja except her.

Ramona runs over to the other girls, saying Sonja is out to lunch. She doesn’t need the aggravation. Dorinda says hey were seconds away from calling 911 at LuAnn’s brunch. Sonja complains to some women we don’t know, that the girls say they don’t see her enough, then criticize her when they do. Ramona suggests LuAnn work on her. In her interview, Bethenny says everyone is thinking therapy, or an exorcism, or a straightjacket, but she thinks Sonja needs a girlfriend.

Sonja says her goodbyes. LuAnn tells Dorinda that Richard is there with Missy. Dorinda wonders if LuAnn has any Italian in her, saying she does, and this would be a problem.

Next time, Bethenny shows Dorinda the warehouse, LuAnn’s daughter tells her that she’s superficial, and Adam goes on a date – and likes her. And as a bonus – Dorinda gets drunk.

🎇 On Star, Ayanna came back to take her father’s place at Midtown. She told Maurice he’d done nothing while she was gone, and told Jahil they’d talk when she’s ready. Carlotta wondered about the women Charles had abused.

The tour group was about to rock NOLA’s gay pride day, when there was a bomb scare. Alex’s mother, Naomi Campbell, showed up. She told Alex how she’d given up her life for a man who’d disrespected her over and over, but she still loved. She said they were all the same, and Noah would cheat on her too. Jackson put the moves on Star, she called him a pig and slapped him, and then they got busy. Afterward, he told her about this track he had and asked if she could run it by Maurice. Star was pretty pissed, thinking he was using her for her connections, and kicked him out. Eventually, she relented, saying she’d pass his tape along, but wouldn’t listen to it personally, because what if the sex was good and the music sucked?

Carlotta realized that Natalie was cutting her out and running game on her. After seeing Natalie coming on to Maurice, Carlotta told him Natalie was just out for herself, and getting kickbacks from the security firm she’d hired. Carlotta punched Maurice in the mouth, and told him to keep that bitch.

When the bomb threat was over, Take 3 and Noah performed at Miss Bruce’s Ball, which was like Studio 54 in the 70s, very disco-ballish. Miss Lawrence proved that she could also carry a tune. Afterwards, Noah came home to who he thought was Alex in bed, but turned out to be Alex’s mother. She’d said she quit drinking, but she was drunk off her ass. No surprise, Alex walked in. Noah said it wasn’t what she thought, and Alex was about to kick her mother to the curb, but she passed out first. Noah and Alex were good, but Alex ended up getting a sportswear gig Noah had wanted. Even though he acted all happy, when no one was looking, he drank from a flask. I don’t think it was Pepsi.

Out on the street, Simone decked Angel, thinking he was someone else. Although they’re never around when you need them, the cops saw, and shook Angel down. Luckily, they didn’t take him to the station, and just told the two of them to keep their fights off the streets. Angel told Simone that he could have been deported, and if she didn’t want to be with him, just say so. She didn’t say anything, so he walked.

Ayanna told GG it was time to speak out about Charles abusing her. GG didn’t want people looking at her like a victim or the label getting flack, but Ayanna said it was bigger than that, and she needed to stop being afraid.

Cotton spent the weekend with her son, AJ, who was having a hard time comprehending that his father was a woman. He said his friends would laugh at him. Cotton understood that he had a picture in his head of what his dad should be, but suggested they make a different picture. Before he could answer, AJ had a seizure.

Queen Latifah ran the wig gamut from a silvery banged shag to a Dorothy Hamill in subtle tones of purple and blue, but Miss Lawrence out-Biebered Justin Bieber with some bodacious side-swept blonde bangs. Next time, Star eclipses Alex, who calls her garbage.

💰 Ryan helped sell hot tubs in the Hamptons on Sell It Like Serhant. Saleswoman Amanda had robotic mannerisms and a general enthusiasm akin to reading the phone book. While she should have been selling ten hot tubs a month, she’d only sold three in the four months she’d been there. In showing her how to sell it, Ryan had potential customers in for a party in the hot tub, but Amanda was a total buzzkill. She reminded me of a scene partner I once had in acting school, who caused me to be stuck in Richard III scene hell for an entire summer. The top seller suggested she literally let her hair down, and put some effort into her appearance. She made the excuse that she was a busy mom. Ryan, who could hear commissions dying in the background, asked to see her closet, and gave her some pointers. He had her talk to strangers, and do some weird vocal exercises, giving me another flashback to something I hated in acting school. Ryan also sprung for a makeover, and although at the next wellness event, Amanda only sold three out of the goal of four, the boss agreed she’d improved enough that he’d keep her on. Next time, Tim, the rental agent.

General Hospital

Alexis wonders why Finn spaced out when she was sharing at the meeting. He says it has nothing to do with her and everything to do with him.

Jordan is having breakfast with Curtis and TJ at Kelly’s. She says she’s the luckiest girl in world, and suggests they not wait for a health scare to do this again. Curtis offers TJ a ride, so they can do some uncle/nephew bonding. When Jordan leaves, Curtis tells TJ that was a smokescreen. He needs to ask him a question about his mother.

Nelle asks why Michael wanted to meet with her. He thanks her for getting through to Ava, but she doesn’t think she had much to do with it. She says, who knows what goes on between Ava and Sonny behind closed doors? My guess would be more animosity.

At the MetroCourt bar, Carly thinks back to Sonny saying he needs her to make an appointment with Doc. She looks at her prescription bottle, and takes a pill. Bobbie suddenly appears, and asks what they’re for.

Griff sits next to Ava at Kelly’s counter. He says it’s not her regular place, but she says it’s near Avery’s school. Avery is going to be spending more time with her from here on out. She tells him, in case any confusion, that’s good news. He hopes she didn’t use Sonny’s father as a condition.

Stella sees Sonny at the hospital, and asks if he got her message; she knows he was dealing with a crisis. He tells her that Avery and Mike are back safe and sound. She knows he’s not the type to talk out his feelings, but as Mike’s illness progresses, he’s going to have more feelings than he knows what to do with. She tells him to call her when he does. She’s glad Mike and Avery were found before anything terrible happened. Sonny says he’s not sure they were.

Finn tells Alexis that he ran into Robert, and he asked about his relationship with Anna. Alexis isn’t surprised, saying those Scorpios look out for each other like hawks. Finn says he’s not used to it, since he has no family. Alexis tells him that’s not true.

At the station, Chase has a headache. Dante suggests he go home and take a break hitting it with fresh eyes in the morning. Chase insists he’s fine, but Jordan tells him to listen to his partner, and get out; that’s an order. Dante says he has a great work ethic, and Chase asks what a Yankee fan would know about that. Jordan and Dante discuss a case, and Jordan spills coffee all over the paperwork. Dante asks if she has something on her mind. Jordan says, marriage.

Carly tells Bobbie that Doc prescribed the pills for anxiety. Sonny suggested she him, but instead of jumping to the conclusion that she’s crazy, he said she’s stressed. No one believes her, and Bobbie doesn’t either. Bobbie says just because everything at the house is fine, doesn’t mean she doesn’t believe what Carly experienced or that it didn’t happen. Carly asks, what if it didn’t? She went to put Sonny’s mind at ease, but she’s questioning herself. She can’t explain the note telling her to go to Morgan’s grave.

Michael says he asked Nelle to convince Ava to compromise. Was it a coincidence that she had a change of heart? Nelle says there was something ugly between them and Avery caught in the middle. It got her thinking about their, baby and how important it is that parents support their child, even if they’re not together.

Ava tells Griff that he’ll be happy to know Mike is a free man; she even spoke on his behalf. Griff was right. Mike has an illness he won’t recover from, and didn’t mean any harm – although it could have happened. She can see he doesn’t belong in prison, but it’s not the most ideal place for Avery, who’s now with her. Griff is shocked. He never thought Sonny would agree to full custody willingly. Ava says she thought about what he said about compassion and empathy; it was an effective speech. She realized if she let Mike off the hook, maybe Sonny would return the favor, and he did. He agreed to share custody.

Stella asks Sonny if they were hurt. He says, no. Mike took Avery wandered off, thinking she was Sonny’s sister who’s been dead for long time. They sit, and Stella explains as the disease progresses, patients find ways to connect the past to the present. Sonny says if he could reopen Luke’s every night, he would, but Stella says it’s not that simple. Sonny asks what to do next, and Stella says there’s only one outcome. As the condition worsens, he’ll be left with the choice to hire professionals around the clock or send Mike away.

Finn says he assumes Alexis is referring to his half-sibling. He barely knows him. Alexis says he’s still related, but Finn says that doesn’t necessarily make him family. She should understand, since she has a half-brother who’s crazy. Alexis says the most diabolical thing about Chase is that he wants to buy Finn coffee. Finn says whatever happens will happen, and whatever doesn’t, won’t, and he can’t believe he said that. Alexis says he can make it up to her by taking her to breakfast. They make plans to meet at the MetroCourt.

TJ wants to stay out of whatever is going on between Curtis and his mom. At the end of the day, he’s related to both of them, so he’s staying out of it. Curtis says he and Jordan are in a real good place. He’s asking her to marry him.

Ava tells Griff that she and Sonny get equal time, and Mike gets to go home; everybody wins. Griff is pleased that she acted with compassion and generosity, and she says what’s right is right. Lucy comes in, and says they’re just the people she wanted to see. She tells Ava how Julian just made a generous contribution to the Nurses’ Ball. Ava says with Julian’s offshore accounts, he can afford to be generous. Lucy says he suggested she’ll do the same, Griff says he has to go, and Lucy hopes he’s getting fitted for his tux, so he can wow everyone on the red carpet. Griff says, anything for her, and leaves. Lucy asks Ava how many zeros they can expect from her?

Sonny asks Stella if she means a nursing home, but she says there are facilities that specialize in caring for his condition. Sonny says he’s not abandoning his father when things get tough. Stella says it’s fine now, but eventually and inevitably, they won’t be. He won’t remember anyone, including himself. Sonny says he can hire people. She says it’s a fortunate position to be in, but it’s not just about money. Having an ailing family member living at home causes stress. Sonny insists he can handle it. She says someone will have to be on call 24/7 to bring Mike to a hospital for emergencies, and there will be. Facilities have everything needed on site. Sonny asks if he won’t still have a good day. Stella says, sometimes, but not everyone is so lucky. It could be just a few good hours or minutes, then it will be gone like it never happened. He tells her about Michael having been in long term care, and how, when he woke up, Sonny wasn’t there. He’ll regret it for the rest of his life. So if he can have a day, an hour, or five minutes, he wants Mike to know he’s there for him. Stella says she’ll put together a list of nurses looking for additional work, and she’ll be keeping Sonny’s family in her prayers.

Carly tells Bobbie that she held the scarf. She thinks whoever pulled the fire alarm, put it in her office and then removed it. Bobbie says that’s one explanation. Carly says Dante traced the calls, so she knows they happened, but then there’s the note. She read it dozens of times, but when she showed it to the detective at the cemetery, it was a blank page.

Nelle says just because they’re not together, doesn’t mean they can’t along; they’re not like Sonny and Ava. Michael says he would never compare Morgan’s death to what Nelle did. Ava made it worse with the cover-ups and lies. Nelle flashes back to putting the note on Carly’s car. She says there’s something she needs to tell him.

Lucy goes to the gallery with Ava. She babbles about Ava’s generosity. Ava says she’s more than happy to contribute, but from the bottom of her heart, she hopes that once she writes the check, Lucy will be on her merry way. Lucy says she’ll be nothing but merry when she gets the check. Ava’s pen won’t work. She reaches into a purse on the chair, and takes out a black marker. Nelle’s?

Curtis tells TJ that he and Jordan managed to work things out. They had a rough patch, but came back stronger than ever; they have a strong foundation. TJ asks where this is coming from. He asks if Curtis is proposing or did already. Curtis says, both. When he thought Jordan was dying, he proposed. When they found out she was okay, she told him that he was off the hook, but he doesn’t want to be. She’s it for him. He doesn’t want to lose the opportunity to commit to her. He knows she’s her own woman, but TJ’s blessing would mean a great deal. TJ just wants them happy. Stella is suddenly standing next to the table, and asks, for what?

At the hospital, Sonny tells Griff that he needs Mike’s records released to a colleague of Patrick’s at Mercy Hospital. He’ll be running the show from now on. Griff asks what brought about the change, and Sonny says it’s best for everyone, since Griff is on team Ava. Griff says he’s on the side of Sonny’s father’s care. He thought Sonny and Ava agreed to compromise. Sonny asks if that’s what she told him.

Ava gives Lucy the check, and says she didn’t even have to blackmail her. Maybe you can catch more flies with honey. Lucy says that would make Ava a fly. Ava says, to think Lucy could have been her stepmother, and Lucy thanks her. Ava says she’s sincerely welcome. Lucy comments that Ava seems to have turned over a new leaf; the hunky doctor is working wonders. She runs down a list of Ava’s crimes, saying from one ex-schemer to another, isn’t it better. Ava rushes Lucy out the door, and Lucy says the doctor doesn’t have that much influence.

Griff tells Sonny that he was under the impression they were considering Avery’s best interests, and compromised. Sonny says Ava threatened to press charges unless she got full custody. Sonny refused, telling her that she’d have to sue in family court. She made a counter offer of joint custody. It was extortion, plain and simple. Griff appreciates hearing Sonny’s side. Sonny says he can forget about sending the records to Mercy; Griff is the best at what he does. He can tell Griff is starting to see Ava for who she is.

Alexis sees Chase at the station, and he asks if she’s keeping his brother out of trouble. She says, so far so good, and asks if he’s acclimated. He says he’s still finding his way around, and asks if she’d care to join him at Kelly’s. She says she would, but thinks he’s in a rut, and suggests they go to the MetroCourt. He thinks it’s too rich for his blood, but she says it’s her treat.

Jordan tells Dante that since she’s in the clear, it made Curtis’s proposal null and void. If she does marry him, she doesn’t want the proposal to go down like that. She doesn’t know if she’s ready for marriage again; she was so young the first time. Dante says it’s not her fault he died. She says she wasn’t mature enough for commitment. She hurt Thomas, and the whole family suffered for it.

Stella joins Curtis and TJ. She says apparently, she walked in on good news. Curtis says it’s best hear it from him. He asked Jordan to marry him. He knows they haven’t been each other’s biggest fans, but he’s seen them be civil, and knows they can work together when things get rough. He loves them both, and asks her to find it in her heart to support him. She’s sorry, but doesn’t think she can.

Alexis and Chase arrive at the MetroCourt. Finn is already there, and asks what’s going on. Chase says he was thinking the same thing. Alexis tells them this might be a good time to unpack the baggage between them.

Curtis knows Stella doesn’t care much for Jordan. She says it has nothing to do with her personal distaste for his brother’s wife. TJ knows it’s awkward, but thinks his father would be grateful for their happiness with each other. Stella says it’s Jordan’s fault they lost him, but Curtis says it’s more complicated than that. He’s not asking for Stella to forgive Jordan. Stella says she has already. She believes in forgiveness, but asking her to welcome Jordan back into the family she destroyed is too much. She’s not a big enough person to do that. Curtis is sorry she feels that way. TJ says he is too. Stella says Curtis is an adult. She won’t stop him, but don’t ask her to be part of it.

Jordan tells Dante that she doesn’t have it in her to screw up another marriage or hurt TJ, Curtis or Stella again. Dante says marriage is tough work, but if you’re willing to put it in, it’s worth it.

Nelle knows Michael wants Jason to be the primary guardian. He’s an important part of the baby’s life, and she’d never get in the way of that, but she was thinking who would care for the baby if something happened to the both of them? Jason is more than capable, but lives a very dangerous life. He was shot and disappeared for five years; who’s say it won’t happen again? Michael says Jason is good at taking care of himself, and would do an excellent job. Nelle feels Michael chose him as a compromise because of the tension between her and his parents. She’s seen Carly with him, Josslyn, and Avery. Despite their differences, she can see Carly is a wonderful mother. Look how he turned out. If the baby is half as strong and kind as him, they’ll be lucky. She’d like to name Carly as primary caregiver just in case.

Bobbie tells Carly even if those things weren’t happening, how much stress has she been under? When was the last time she got a full night’s sleep? Carly says before Michael was born, and Bobbie says no wonder her mind is playing tricks. She’s not crazy; she’s exhausted. Carly says even if she agreed, Sonny still blames Mike disappearing on her. She was chasing ghosts when she was supposed to be there. Right or not, it still hurts. Bobbie says Sonny has a lot of shortcomings, but his love for his family isn’t one of them. She tells Carly to take her meds, and once Sonny calms down, he’ll apologize. Carly asks if she thinks so, and Bobbie says, ask him herself. Because, surprise! there he is.

Finn says this isn’t a good idea, and Alexis says she didn’t plan it; she ran into Chase. Chase says he’s just as blindsided as Finn, but Alexis isn’t wrong. They need to talk it out, once and for all. Finn tells Chase that he has nothing to say. Chase wants to know what he ever did to Finn, but Finn says the problem isn’t with him.

Jordan calls Curtis, and tells him that Lucy is stopping by to sell tickets for the Nurses’ Ball. It was a special night for the two of them last year. She asks if she should put them down for two, and Curtis says, great idea.

Michael appreciates Nelle trying to mend fences, but she doesn’t have to. Nelle says she gets why Carly hates her. She did terrible things to their family. They’ll never have a nice, cozy relationship, and that’s fine; she just wants what’s best for the baby. If something happens, she thinks Carly should be primary guardian. Michael agrees and thanks her. She says she’s just trying to do the right thing.

Carly asks what Sonny is doing there. He says he’s meeting with Lucy to give her a donation. Bobbie has to get to work. Carly asks if Sonny wants to join her, but he has to get home to coordinate with Ava. Carly tells him good luck with that. She asks him how long he’s going to blame her for what happened to Avery.

Griff goes to the gallery. He says Ava lied to him. Why didn’t she tell him the truth about her deal with Sonny?

Tomorrow, Griff tells Ava that Mike is innocent, Sam is getting a divorce, and Sonny says the bigger problem is Carly. I could have told him that.

The Haves and the Have Nots

Veronica throws a brick through the window in David’s door. He comes running out in his underwear. She says he bought her a house. He tells Veronica if she doesn’t leave, he’s calling the police. She says this is the house she said she wanted, and David tells Erica to call the police. Veronica tells her to go ahead. David doesn’t want to see or talk to Veronica. She says he’s going to talk to her a lot. She remembers when she brought him to the house, and says he can’t get rid of her that easy. He tells her not to come back. She says she will be back. She told him how much she loved the house, and he said they couldn’t afford it. He bought it and has a whore living in it. She keeps shrieking that it’s her house, and he smacks her. She screams, he’s beating me, and tells him that he continues to humiliate her; she’s had enough of him. He asks if she’s serious. She has their son in jail. She says he’s guilty, and they can lay all this sh*t on the line if that’s what he wants.

David says what he wants is to never see her again as long as he lives. Veronica says that might be soon. He asks if she’s threatening him, and she says she doesn’t threaten. He says she put their son in jail for murder; what’s wrong with her? She says, everything. She’s sane and crazy at the same time. Why doesn’t he ask what’s wrong with their son? David says, nothing is wrong, and she says he likes men. Erica comes to the door, and says the police are on their way. Veronica suggests calling an ambulance. David tells Erica not to taunt her, and go inside. Veronica says she should listen to her lover boy, and Erica says, this is ridiculous. David goes in the house, and Veronica tells him not to do this. She made him. She put in all the work, and it’s because of her he can live like this. He wants to throw her away for a whore. He was nothing before her, and will be nothing after her. She promises that. She finally leaves.

Erica is like, what the hell?! David is sorry. Erica says she cut her foot on the glass. She doesn’t think she can do this. She doesn’t like drama, and this is too much. David says he’ll take care of it. He says her ex was abusive, so she knows what it’s like. She says maybe that’s why she doesn’t want to be a part of it. She thinks if David was going to take care of Veronica, he’d have done it by now. She asks if he loves Veronica. He says he’s being patient, and she asks, why? Veronica is going to come back. He he tells her to calm down, and she says she’s already gone through so much. David understands, and he’s sorry. He says they’ll get through this, and she wonders how he can be so calm.

Hanna is all glammed up, in a tight red dress with a beautiful, unique neckline, and a long, wavy wig with highlights. She asks Benny what he thinks, and he says she’s his momma and not wearing that. She says she has a date, and how does she look. He says, not like his momma. She knows it’s hard to believe, but she was a woman before she was his mom. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Derek, who says Hanna looks beautiful. He holds out his hand to Benny, but Benny crosses his arms. He tells Derek that he’s not going anywhere with his momma. Hanna says she’s grown, and goodnight.

Jeffrey is in the interrogation room, and calls for the guard. He’s wondering why he’s there. Veronica comes in, and says, hello, but Jeffrey says nothing. She asks how he is, and he asks what she’s doing there. She has him locked up in prison. She says, no. As bad as this is, it’s jail, and prison is a thousand times worse. They’ll love him in there. Jeffrey calls her the worst mother in the world, but she says she’s a wonderful mother. She’s just disappointed he has more feminine genes than male. He wants out. She says, too late for that. She told him stay away from that girl and come home, but where was he? Jeffrey says, at a hotel with him. Veronica asks again, wanting him to refer to Justin as her. She says she warned him, and this is what happens when he doesn’t heed her warning. He says he gets the lesson; can he go home? She asks if he’ll be the husband, father, and man she’s told him to be, and he says yes. She asks if he won’t see that girl again, and he says, no, he won’t. Veronica says, good. Jeffrey asks if he can go home, but she says he’s in there on serious charges. He says he needs to get out, and she tells him that she never wanted to raise a child to go to jail, but he forced her hand. She can’t get him out. He says she put him in, but she tells him that he’s in the system. He asks why she put him in there, and she asks if he thought she was kidding. She says she’ll work on it, and he’ll be okay. She tells him she loves him, and asks if he doesn’t love her. Through gritted teeth, he says he loves her. She says it’s the best place for him, and leaves.

Veronica sees Justin in the hallway, and says, hey girl. He walks over, and she says at least he knows his name. He says her name is bitch, and she says, so original. He says it suits her, and she says she likes it sometimes. She asks if he still works there. He tells her that he does. He heard she was in an accident, and asks how she is. She says she’s fine, but she heard his video is on the internet – is he? He accuses her of putting it out there, but she says it was probably some of his buddies in blue; they frown on that type of thing. Justin asks what happened, and she says she lost control of the car. He asks if she’s sure something didn’t make her lose control; he’s just wondering. She thinks he’s implying it was him, and he’s the one who ran her off the road. Part of her thinks so, but the woman in her thinks he’s too much of a little bitch to do it. A mere princess coming after a queen. She’s the real queen; not him. She says she gets under Justin’s skin, and Justin says he gets under her son’s skin. She asks why he doesn’t admit he ran her off the road, and he says he’s an officer of the law; he would never do such a thing. She calls him Officer Lady Girl, and asks, how’s his wife? Veronica doesn’t know why she was so shocked when she saw the video. Justin asks how her husband is, and answers his own question, saying he’s gone, now that he’s traded in a grandma for a sexy, beautiful woman. He tells her that when he and Jeffrey are on the pillow, Jeffrey tells him everything because they’re lovers. When Jeffrey gets out, they’re moving in together. He asks if she has a housewarming gift. She says he won’t ever have to worry about that happening. Jeffrey will never get out. He asks if she wants to bet, and she asks if he knows something she doesn’t. If he does, she’d like to see it. He walks away.

Derek and Hanna have dinner. He says she’s a natural; she’s naturally beautiful and knows her stuff. She tells him to take a picture; she can’t keep all this up. He asks if she drinks, and she says she has a beer now and then. He says they should order one, but she says it’s not a beer kind of place. He suggests wine. Hanna says she doesn’t know anything, but knows rich people order pinot. Derek admits he doesn’t drink, but doesn’t mind if she has something. He asks if she likes being a maid, and she says it’s an honest living, which means a lot. She doesn’t think kids today get it. They want it quick, and don’t want to work for it. Preach it, sister! Derek asks if she’s talking about her son, and she says, no; he works his butt off. He has a strong work ethic. Derek says, and a strong dislike for him. Hanna says he needs to work his own stuff out. She thought it would be easier as he got older, but it got harder. Derek gets it. e has three kids in college. It was a struggle getting them there, but he got it done. Hanna asks about his wife, and Derek says they met on a trip he took to Havana. He misses her, but he’s with Hanna tonight. She says she’s sorry. She knows how hard grief can be. He says that’s why they’re going dancing after dinner. She says she’s going home, and he says, no, she’s not. She says she likes to dance, but hasn’t gone in a while. He says that’s why they’re going, and he knows the perfect spot.

Melissa lets Benny into Veronica’s house. She tells him that Veronica isn’t there, and didn’t say when she’s coming back. He starts to leave, and she says they should talk. He says he’s sorry it happened, but he’s a man, and she put it out there. She asks if he thinks she’s obsessed, but he doesn’t know what to think. He says he’s not waiting, and Melissa begs him to stay. He doesn’t think so, and she asks if she turns him on that much. She admits to sending the text from Veronica’s phone, asking him to come. She wants to finish what they started. She starts taking off her clothes, and he asks her not to get him involved. They start to kiss, even though he’s saying no. They get busy on the couch.

At the hotel, Oscar asks Candace if she’s ready to be first lady. She has to think about it. He says she can sit in the White House for four to eight years, then after that write a book, and deal with Hollywood. Be rich, and play the long game. He tells her there’s no such thing as getting rich quick. Candace says she did. He says he’s talking big money, but she doesn’t mind starting with small millions. He says his group pays him well; they’ll both retire. He asks as if she’s in, but she doesn’t think so. He says he feels lightheaded, and asks if she put something in his drink. She tells him relax. He asks why, and she says she wants her money, and tells him that he’ll be up by noon. He tells her wait, and passes out.

Candace looks through Oscar’s laptop, getting the passwords from the pictures on her phone. She calls Rocky. He says he’s got something cooking. She tells him to keep eye on their girl, but if works out, they won’t have to run another whore. He says his shift ends soon, but she says he’d better be able to cancel his plans.

Veronica walks in on Benny and Melissa finishing up. Benny says, hey, and Melissa laughs. Veronica tells Benny to get out, and asks Melissa why she’s laughing. Melissa thinks it’s hilarious. She says Benny didn’t want Veronica’s old ass. Veronica says apparently, he wants her dumb ass. She calls Melissa a stupid fool and a little girl. She’s going to show her a grown woman’s game. Melissa pulls Veronica’s ponytail, and it’s on.

Jim and Kathryn wait at Wyatt’s apartment. Jim asks what Kathryn would do without him, and she says, be a lot happier. Without him wandering the world, completely out of control, she’d be free of all this foolishness, and in the arms of her Latin lover. Where would he be without her? She tells him to say it, so she can slap the sh*t out him. He says, those were the days, and tells her sit and relax. Kathryn says they’ve been there hours; where is he? Jim tells her to sit and wait. They already got the manager to open the door. He’s not going to spend another $2K to do it again. She asks what about the DA thing? What about George? Jim says he doesn’t want to go to jail; there’s no room service. He has a plan. Trust him; he’ll take care of it.

Wyatt comes in, and asks what they’re doing there, and how they got in. Jim says they’re rich. They can get in anywhere. Wyatt tells them to get the hell out. Kathryn tells him to listen. He says he’s going to call the cops, and Jim takes his phone, saying he’s going to listen. Him reaches into Wyatt’s coat pocket, and pulls out a large plastic bag of white powder. Wyatt says he needs it, and that he’s clean. Which makes perfect sense. Jim moves toward the sink, and they struggle. Wyatt repeats that he needs it. Jim slices the bag open, and starts dumping it into the sink. Kathryn tells Wyatt he doesn’t need it, and he cracks her one, sending her flying across the floor. He slams Jim in the head with a pan. Jim and Kathryn are both on the floor, and Wyatt grabs a sculpture. He holds it above his head, looking like The Hulk.

Next time, Veronica literally throws Melissa into the street, Jeffrey tells Justin to just get him out, Erica and David are falling for each other, and Candace can’t wake Oscar up.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – The Reunion Part Two

LVP shows us how her dress works by flipping the sequins and making her boobs a different color. Andy asks what it takes to prepare a Beverly Hills housewife for her day, and we see clips of that. Lots of handbags for Kyle. It’s expensive to be Erika. Fashion Week. The stunning news that Teddi doesn’t like to shop and isn’t into fashion. Erika tells us about how difficult it is to work with latex, but it was worth it. She spends $40K a month on all glam, but knows people who spend a lot more. The guess is, LVP owns the most shoes. Teddi’s breast enhancement is discussed. Andy says boobs are the universal unifier. What? We go down the Memory Lane of Erika’s looks this season.

Andy mentions the break-in at Kyle’s house. They got an alert in Aspen that someone had gotten into her closet. She says they got almost every single handbag and all the jewelry, everything that she didn’t have on her, including irreplaceable things from her mother. She says watching the show was hard, seeing things that are gone. Andy points out that Mauricio talked about security with Edwin, but she says it wasn’t complete yet, and the dogs were in training. Nothing was recovered. LVP gave her a new Chanel handbag for her birthday to help start over. Andy asks if Kyle thinks they’ll stay in the new house, but Kyle isn’t sure.

We revisit the friendship between Dorit, Erika, and LisaR, and see some clips of their antics. A viewer asks why Dorit was more open to a second chance with Erika than with LisaR? Dorit apologizes to LisaR for everything she and PK said. She thinks for her and Erika, the situation was different. Andy asks Erika about PK, and she says they’re cordial. LisaR says ditto, and it’s miraculous, thinking back to a year ago. We see a clip of PK at the reunion that’s beyond tense. LisaR applauds them getting to where they are. LVP says they’ll like PK more as they know him. Dorit says she couldn’t have done her song without Erika. Her encouragement meant the world. Andy asks if they’re still good, and they are.

Camille joins the group. Andy congratulates her on the engagement. We look at the ring, which is about five carats. She says Kelsey’s was smaller, and someone (probably LisaR) asks, the ring? Ha-ha! I think Camille already addressed that issue. Andy brings up Camille being the most hated Housewife on the cover of a magazine. Now they get “many positive tweets,” and she’s gone from abhorred to adored. Camille says it’s better than being hated, which I could have guessed. We see some clips of Camille throughout the season, including Dorit acting like an a-hole. Camille is wearing the ball-gag as a bracelet, and oddly enough, it matches her dress. A viewer says Dorit can dish it out, but can’t take it. Dorit says it was LVP’s birthday, and she thought they were past that. Camille thinks it’s an excuse, but Dorit says she can take a joke; the timing was bad. Dorit says she needs to work on not saying whatever comes into her head. Camille says calling her a c-word humiliated and hurt her, especially in front of David. She felt she was being targeted by Dorit and PK.

A viewer asks if Camille consulted Allison DuBois to find out if Dorit will ever close her mouth. We flash back to the dinner party from hell, and Camille says they’re not in contact anymore. She thought Camille set her up. LVP says if she’s psychic, she should have seen it coming. Andy asks if he can have the ball-gag for the Clubhouse. Erika wants to pee, and they break for lunch.

Dorit sits with LVP. She doesn’t like Teddi’s superior attitude. There are qualities she likes, but it wasn’t a fluid conversation. In another room, Teddi tells Kyle about Dorit writing bad things on social media about her, yet she’s being blamed for not letting things go. LVP tells Dorit that she needs to figure out how to navigate things. Kyle is frustrated trying to make a point with everyone yelling at each other

We go back to the time altercation between Teddi and Dorit, the wrong glass, and Teddi trying to apologize. Andy asks why Dorit thought Teddi was trying to cause a problem between her and LisaR. Teddi says, sorry, again, and Erika says good thing LisaR is more laid back this season. A viewer thinks Dorit talks too much and then plays the victim. Teddi says you get confused by what she’s saying, and Dorit says, no, you. Teddi says she admits things, and doesn’t blame anyone else. Everyone talks over each other and has separate conversations, so nothing can be understood.

Andy asks who would care if they were served rosé in a champagne glass? Teddi says she wouldn’t care, but if she did care, she would be discreet. Dorit claims the bartender asked if she wanted a refill, and she asked to switch glasses. LVP says could have handled it differently. Teddi says Dorit also wouldn’t participate in spa day, and she wished she’d known ahead of time. This is what led to her conversation with LVP, and nothing against LVP, Teddi never mentioned her name. We see a clip. Giggy! LVP shared that information with Dorit. Dorit says she’s sorry she made Teddi uncomfortable in her own home. She shouldn’t feel she has to go outside her comfort zone to please anyone. Camille says had a great time, and asks why Erika left without telling anyone. Erika says, because she could, and she didn’t feel well. She and Camille have a tense moment, but it passes.

Andy brings up a mean tweet from Camille about Dorit. Camille admits it was a slight. Andy moves to Dorit’s lateness. Teddi says she was irritated, but never angry. When she found out that Dorit had talked to Kyle, she wondered why Dorit was talking to Kyle, and acting like it was less time than it was. She’s annoyed at having to defend herself more than about Dorit being late. She’s among a group of strangers, and it looks like she cares about six minutes. Dorit says she’s been talked about in every interview. Teddi is different to her face than behind her back. Sometimes their communication is difficult. She hates it when Teddi resuscitates something. She thinks they can move forward, and she’ll own what she does and says.

We say goodbye to Camille. Everyone goes for a pee break. Camille and Dorit make peace and hug in the hallway.

LVP is up next, in particular, her friendships with Teddi and Dorit. We see clips. Giggy! We slide into Dorit being taken out of the Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine. A viewer calls her a diva, and says she deserved to be replaced. LVP says it was about the jewelry, not Dorit. Why would she want it less than perfect? Dorit whines that she only knew the day before. Erika wonders if bringing her own glam squad would have made a difference. LVP says she saw her defer to photographer Mark. Dorit kept saying she didn’t like any of them. We see her saying she doesn’t like anything about the photos. Dorit says she felt badly, and told LVP, but LVP says that was later on. The new photos are discussed, LVP explaining the process, and Dorit asks if she was being punished. Erika says that LVP felt Dorit was being an a-hole, so she decided to be another a-hole, and chop Dorit’s head off and put the photos in.

Of course I think LVP can do no wrong, but that’s what Dorit gets for whining about pictures that were fine. I think she was fishing for compliments, but the photographer took it as an insult, so too bad.

General Hospital

At Kelly’s, Lulu thanks Jason for coming. He asks what happened that she’s on crutches, and she says she now knows not to chase Rocco in heels. She tells him that she needs advice on Henrik Faison.

Drew sees Sam coming out pf Peter’s office. He says he’s glad she’s safe. He was stopping by to see Peter, and asks if he’s in.

No, but Curtis is. Curtis rifles through papers in a cupboard. He pulls something out, and says, jackpot! Nina texts him that the meeting was finished early.

Nina comes home, telling Valentin that Peter called off the meeting. She wonders how Curtis is supposed to find dirt on Peter if he has no time to dig for it. Valentin asks where he’s digging, and she says Peter’s office. She asks what Valentin is looking at, and he shows her a picture of the box with the crest on it.

Anna pulls out a file. Robert assumes it’s Valentin’s, and she says it lists his known haunts in Bern. It lines up perfectly with when Henrik was born. Robert says he told her that Valentin delivered Henrik personally, and there’s her proof.

Sam tells Drew that he can check the conference room, but he says he’ll wait. Sam asks if she can buy him coffee. She has a lot to tell him.

Jason tells Lulu about the trip, and how Spinelli got arrested in Switzerland posing as Henrik. He asks if they found anything on Henrik, but she says, not much. The letters were gone. They weren’t in the safe deposit box. Henrik paid someone to access the box after Faison died and take them. For all they know, they’ve been destroyed. The good news is that Henrik is still around. Lulu says Henrik may be closer than he thinks. They’ve been in contact.

Nina asks why Valentin has the picture. He says it was in Faison’s belongings, and Robert thought he might know about it, since it’s the Cassadine crest. Nina says Valentin’s evil stepmother worked with him, and he says no one worked harder for that title than Helena. Nina asks why Robert would think the box was for him, when they’d never even met?

Anna tells Robert the evidence is paper thin, but Robert says, no. Valentin was positioned in Brussels, where she had her child. Anna insists that he was just there long enough to witness the hand-off to the midwife, but then says, she played right into his hands. She compromised herself with a DVX officer, got pregnant, and handed her child over. He only had to bide his time to use the child against her. The strategy is brilliant, and Valentin is one of the best. I hate to point it out, but Valentin never used the child against her, so where did that come from? She brought it up to him; not the other way around.

Sonny asks to talk to Diane before the bail hearing. Ava is smiling, and Carly asks why. Ava says it’s just a good day smiles, but guesses not so much for her. Thanks to Carly’s negligence, she’ll get her daughter back, and Avery will be raised in a safe, loving home like she should have been. Carly says it’s amazing that she claims to be doing this for Avery’s sake. She has no regard for taking Avery from her home when she doesn’t even know her. Ava asks whose fault is that? Carly says she’s going to take Avery from the only home she knows, and drag her back and forth like a trophy. Now tell her why she’s such a great mother.

Sonny tells Diane that Mike is an aging, sick man, who had no idea what he was doing when he walked away with Avery; he had no intention of hurting her. Diane says given his criminal record, and Sonny’s alleged connections, she’d be lying if she said there’s no chance he’ll go to prison. Sonny asks if this is where she says it’s impossible, then at the end pulls it off. She tells him that he needs to know the risk; it’s not a slam dunk, and Judge Lasser likes to think he’s tough on crime. Her best guess is that there’s a 30% chance Mike is convicted, but it leaves a 70% chance of him going free. Sonny doesn’t like the odds, but she says it’s all they have.

Carly tells Ava that she’s living in a fantasy world if she thinks she’ll get custody. Ava says, we’ll see. Carly says, Sonny aside, Ava can do nothing to prevent the day that Avery finds out Ava is responsible for her brother’s death. Some messes are too big to clean up, and some crimes don’t go away. Ava might have avoided jail, but one day, Avery will look her in the eye and her for who she is. Ava says, her mother, who loves her, and Carly says, we’ll see.

Sonny comes out, and asks to talk to Ava. Nelle – why is she there anyway? – tells Carly that she hopes they come to a compromise. Carly asks who she thinks she’s fooling. She loves seeing their family suffer.  Dante wants to check on his grandfather, but Diane says he’s not leaving her alone with these two.

Ava tells Sonny that she gets full custody, or his father goes to prison.

Lulu tells Jason that it’s the same email PK Sinclair was using. Jason says that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s Henrik. She says he’d like a chance to tell his side, but Jason asks if that isn’t what he’s doing with the book. Lulu says he wants to talk face to face. Jason says Faison got killed when he was brought out into the open. Why does she think Henrik will take the same chance? She believes it’s him, and Jason asks if she’s brought it to Dante? She says not yet; not until she has more to give. He asks if she thinks she’ll get it by meeting Henrik, and she says, that’s the idea, but he thinks it’s a bad one.

Nina asks Valentin what Robert’s deal is; what’s he like? Valentin says he’s like a WSB agent; overconfident. He answered all Robert’s questions, and they’re done. Nina says he thinks it’s done on his end, but that never stopped Anna. She wonders if Robert will follow suit. Valentin says it doesn’t matter. He’s not going to find what he’s looking for.

Curtis puts everything back, and sneaks out. He takes off his gloves, and jets. Peter sees him, and makes a frowny face.

Sonny asks Ava if she thinks she’s doing right by Avery. Does she remember how she lost custody in the first place? Ava says, the tape Carly stole. He says they still have it. Ava laughs, saying it’s old news no one cares about. Paul is in prison, and all they’ll see is that the DA coerced a suspect into sex. Why shouldn’t she get custody; she thinks he’s an unfit father. Sonny gets angry, saying it’s not negotiable. That’s it. He’s not going to do it.

Nelle brings Carly some tea, thinking she’d like it, but Carly says she’d like Nelle’s smarmy head on a platter. Geez. Not real smart to say things like that in a police station. Diane tells her this is not the place, and Dante says he’s out of there. Nelle wants to ask Diane for some legal advice about the baby; specifically, custody. Carly asks if Nelle is laying the groundwork for keeping the baby from them, and Nelle asks if Carly has been talking to Diane about it. Carly says Diane advised her on her rights as a grandparent. Nelle doesn’t know whether to be scared or encouraged. She wanted to talk about giving Carly custody.

Ava tells Sonny not to pretend he’s not scared; he’s terrified. He says he hates seeing his father like this, but he doesn’t like to operate by fear. He has the best lawyer, and medical advice from Ava’s boyfriend. It was an accident; there was no malicious intent, and the chances of Mike going to prison are slim. Ava asks if he’s willing to take that gamble. He tells her that his family has a lot of experience testifying in court. Even Griff will get on the stand and say Mike wouldn’t hurt a fly. He’s just a sick person who was confused. She says if he wants a judge to decide his father’s fate, let the cards fall where they may. He says even if Mike goes to prison, she’ll still have to sue him for custody, and he’ll still have whoever he needs, including Kiki. She testified once before and will again; she knows Ava is unfit. Ava says there is one alternate solution. She’ll drop the charges if he agrees to joint custody. I wonder if that was her plan from the beginning.

Curtis goes to Windemere. Nina asks how it went, and if he got her text. He says, it went, and yeah, he got her text, that’s why he got his ass out of there. She asks if he found anything, and he says, not a damn thing – about Peter.

Peter goes into his office and looks around, checking everything. He looks through his papers in the cabinet, and takes out a folder on Nathan.

Jason thinks Henrik is dangerous. He tells Lulu that Faison was a psycho, and he woke up in a clinic, drugged, restrained, and treated like an animal on Henrik’s orders. When he escaped, he was followed on Henrik’s orders. He’s good at what he does, but could barely stay alive long enough to get home. What if Henrik brings guys with him when he meets with Lulu? Why is she thinking that he’s harmless on any level when all the evidence says he’s not?

Sam tells Drew about Spinelli getting arrested, and how she stayed to help infiltrate the bank where Faison’s safe deposit box is. They found it, but the letters were gone. Henrik paid the bank manager to take the letters out and leave them in a drop box. She’s sorry. Drew says, him too. She’d like to talk to him about Aurora, and what happens next.

Ava tells Sonny, equal custody, including holidays and vacations, and all decisions will be made jointly. Sonny says, if he agrees, she’ll drop everything? She says she’ll need it in writing, but she’ll even speak on Mike’s behalf. Sonny will have the best of both worlds; his daughter and his father. He says, half daughter, and Ava says, half is better than none, and Mike stays safe. Do they have a deal?

Carly tells Nelle that she was under the impression Michael asked Jason, but Nelle says she’s having second thoughts. Jason’s life is up in the air, and he’s single. She wants two parents, even if it’s her and Sonny. She knows there’s no way Carly won’t love Michael’s baby, the same way she loves Avery, and fight for her the same way. She tells Carly to just think about it. She goes to the bathroom, and Diane tells Carly to batten down the hatches. Carly says she’s way ahead.

Dante brings out Mike. He asks where Sonny is, and Carly says talking to Ava. He asks why? Sonny hates her. He tells Carly to stop him. He doesn’t want Sonny making sacrifices for him.

Sonny asks if Ava feels good, taking advantage of his father’s illness like she did Morgan’s. She says she’s doing what’s best for Avery. Sonny says Griff might not see through her reconstructed face, but he does. He’s not going to forget this. Ava says if his father is any indication, he might. Ooh, snap!

Sam says she and Drew are in a strange place personally, but professionally, they still have the company. There’s a lot to do, and it’s just the beginning. She’d like to stay on, and asks if he sees a problem with that.

Lulu asks what if Jason is mistaken? He never saw Henrik at the clinic. What if the person holding him captive was Klein, and he did it without any orders? Maybe Henrik made choices because he was scared. Now that Faison is dead, things could have changed. He asks if she wants to take that chance. She says he’ll have his guard up with Jason, but not her. Jason says she’s not in his league. If she wants to play the game, she’ll get hurt.

Curtis says Peter is too careful to keep something around where someone can find it. Valentin says he has a meeting, and can’t leave fast enough. Nina tells Curtis thanks for trying. She’s sorry it was for nothing. He wouldn’t say nothing. He didn’t find Peter’s deep dark secret, but found something that’s off. He had a file on Nathan.

Anna says somehow, Valentin acquired her child and delivered him to Faison; the thing she feared most. She doesn’t think he’s a danger anymore. He has a kid of his own and has felt love. Then, he was young, angry, and felt rejected. She was young, angry, and ambitious. Faison was already duplicitous, but not a full-blown sociopath; he was a rising star at the DVX. They were all young and misguided. Robert says it sounds like she’s giving Valentin a pass.

Nina wonders why Peter would have a folder on her brother. Curtis doesn’t know, but it was thick. Curtis says he was there when Nathan got shot. Maybe it has something to do with survivor’s guilt. Nina suggests maybe it has nothing to do with Nathan, but with Maxie. Maybe he’s getting information on how to get close to her. Curtis says they have no proof, but Nina insists Peter has an agenda. They have to turn up the heat.

Peter tells Valentin that he thought Valentin said he was handling his wife. Her PI was rooting through his office. There was nothing to find, but he will if he keeps digging. Valentin tells Peter that Robert asked about this, showing him the picture of the box. It was found in his father’s safe deposit box. Peter didn’t know it was in there. He’d paid someone to remove the letters and put them in a universal drop, after which they were destroyed. There’s nothing to connect him. Valentin says Robert knows Peter went to school in Switzerland – the same time Valentin was there.

Anna doesn’t understand how Valentin could use an innocent child. Why take the child from a loving home, and give him to someone so cold and unfeeling? Why would he want the child to have that kind of life? Robert asks what she wants to do about it, but she says she can’t do anything. He suggests they go to Windemere, but she says they can’t confront Valentin. Robert asks why not? She says he’s been hiding the secret for decades, and won’t allow it to unravel at this point. They’ll have to sit on this. The most important thing is that Jason is going after Henrik, and will treat him as a threat. He doesn’t care about the rest. Robert says to leave Jason to him.

Lulu tells Jason that she’ sorry he didn’t get answers. He says it wasn’t a complete waste of time. They found something else. He tells her about the conundrum box, saying it can only be opened safely by the recipient. She asks if Faison left it for Henrik, but Jason says if he did, Henrik doesn’t know about it. He tells her that it has the Cassadine crest on it, and she asks if he thinks Valentin is involved. Jason’s money is on Helena, and Lulu calls it the twisted partnership that keeps on giving. Jason says he loves Sam and Danny more than anything. He knew the risks, and didn’t come back for five years. He came back; Nathan never will. Maxie will always grieve, and their child will have no father. Is that a gamble she wants to take, causing her family that kind of pain? She says he’s given her a lot to think about.

Sam doesn’t want to rush into anything. Drew says the company is half hers. More than half, but he’ll be partners if that’s what she wants.

Carly tells Diane that Nelle doesn’t want her or Sonny near her kid. Diane asks how to respond. Mike wants to talk to Sonny, and tells Carly that Sonny is making a mistake. He doesn’t want Sonny to lose his daughter because of him. Sonny and Ava come out. Diane wonders if she dares to ask. Sonny says they’ve come to an agreement. Sonny is giving Ava joint custody. He tells Diane to make everything equal, and coordinate with Scotty. Mike tells him, don’t do this, but Sonny says it’s already done. He pats Mike on the shoulder.

Drew tells Sam if they’re going to work together, they’ll have to separate their personal and professional lives. Sam agrees.

Curtis says Sam caught him. Nina thought she was on a trip, but Curtis says she came back early. She threatened to call the cops, so he came clean, but said he was just looking into Peter’s background without saying who hired him. She promised to keep it to herself as long as he shares what he finds. Nina believes Sam, and says two heads are better than one. The faster they smoke out Peter, the better.

Peter asks Valentin if he thinks Robert is that close. If he is, it’s time to shut him down.

Robert meets Jason, who wants to get on with finding Henrik. Robert asks why he’s in a rush. Jason says he wants to find Henrik and neutralize him before anyone gets hurt. Robert tells him that Valentin claims he doesn’t know about the box. Jason asks if Robert believes Valentin, and Robert says, no, but he can’t do anything until they can get the box open. Jason suggests they dangle what Henrik wants in front of him – his mother.

Anna remembers Valentin agreeing with her that no child should have that monster for a father.

Sonny asks what time court is, and Diane says, now. Mike tells Sonny there must be some way around this. Diane says to let her do the talking, but Sonny says, not all. Ava says she would like to tell the judge that it was a simple breakdown in communication between her and Carly. Since she’s gotten to know Mike, she knows he’s a good guy, and would never knowingly cause harm to a child. Avery is safe and sound, and she would like the same for Mike, so he gets the care he needs to ensure something like this doesn’t happen again. Nelle tells Carly that she’s glad everything worked out. Carly walks away. Mike tells Sonny this is wrong, but Sonny says it’s not a big deal. He can’t keep Avery away from her mother indefinitely. Everything will be okay. Mike says now is the time he should stop telling himself that.

Tomorrow, Curtis needs to ask TJ a question, Nelle needs to tell Michael something, and Carly is starting to question herself.

Vanderpump Rules

Tom shaves his eyebrows. He has some last minute preparations for the TomTom progress party. Even though it’s not open, it’s still a celebration. He’s been working on cocktail recipes for ten years. We see clips of that. He says tonight, people are getting a little taste of what’s to come with TomTom.

Katie highlights her face. Schwartz talks to the dogs. We flash back to Schwartz’s early years, and Lisa telling him to grow the eff up. He says he’s ready to grow up, or at least move on to the next chapter. Katie thinks he looks hot, but should wear shoes.

Tom tells Ariana that he and Schwartz are giving Ken and Lisa a $25K check. It’s an investment in their future. He just hopes she doesn’t cash both at the same time.

Jax hasn’t heard from Brittany, even though he’s texted her a thousand times. He thinks she just needs time, because he’s a moron. He’s going to see her at the party, and he wants to know how she’s doing. She left the dogs??? I would never leave my kids with Jax.

Stassi says he’s going to try hard to get her back, but Brittany doesn’t care; she’s going to look hot and flirt with Adam. Stassi is thrilled, saying it’s about time. She’s dreamt about killing Jax. She tells Brittany if anything happens, she’ll do her best. Brittany tells her he wants to stay in the building, but she’ll move if she has to. Stassi understands up and down relationships, but this is another level. Brittany asks if Patrick is going to be there. In her interview, Stassi says she’s going to smush her feelings, and if that doesn’t work, she has Xanax. She gives Brittany the ultimate compliment – you look so skinny.

Giggy! Ken comes to Lisa’s dressing room. He tells her that he’s getting Giggy ready first, since he’s coming along. Lisa hopes Jax doesn’t come. She thinks Jax’s days at SUR might be over. He was fired from his relationship, maybe he should be fired from his job. He acted like a complete a-hole. We flash back to that. In her interview, Lisa says if someone worked for her that long and had a meltdown, she might make allowances, but it’s extraordinary how Jax gets a pass. He needs to realize his choices aren’t okay. She’s pissed, but Ken just wants to love on Giggy and dress him up. Me too.

Schwartz and Tom arrive pre-party to set up. Tom sees a grand entrance rather than a construction site. He sees a beautiful bar with amazing cocktails. He sees it all. He sees his future, and it looks freakin’ awesome. Stassi and Brittany get there first; Peter, James, and Raquel follow. Stassi can’t believe two of her best friends are opening a bar and they get to see it. The cocktails are literally smoking, and she says she loves drinks that look like witch’s brew. Ariana and Katie are next. In her interview, Katie says it’s the first step toward a Lisa Vanderpump life with swans, a moat, and a black Bentley. Ariana suggests thrones for the guys. Suddenly, the other guests are just there. Brittany says she won’t stay at the apartment if Jax is staying in the same building. Jax comes strolling in, and Brittany stares at the ceiling. Lala says he looks like a dog with its tail between its legs. She tells Brittany that it was not meant to be. She says Brittany looks amazing; like she’s ready to run sh*t. Amen, sister!

Lisa, Ken, and Giggy! arrive. Lisa asks how much the frozen shot-maker cost, and Tom says it was a bargain. It’s the only one in the US. In his interview, he explains he went to a bar show in Vegas, and thinks the machine will set them apart. Lisa tries one. Ariana says it’s like an alcoholic popsicle. Lisa is impressed, and asks if you can really get drunk on it. In her interview, she says it’s pure genius, and what she wanted. Something different.

Next, Tom has SUR bartender Wesley model the new uniform, which includes a short-sleeved shirt, tie, and vest. They’re going to indicate they’re staff with pins instead of screen printing. Lisa is pleasantly surprised. She loves that it’s innovative, and they did it on their own. She tells them to milk the praise. It’s probably the last they’re going to get. In his interview, Schwartz says he’s always been seeking approval from Lisa on some level. He’s going to emulate Ken, and maybe get a little dog.

Jax approaches Lisa. She’s surprised he came, and he says he can leave if she wants. She asks if she said that, and tells him she does want to talk to him later. He gets all weird and defensive, talking in staccato sentences. He suggests they talk now, but she tells him later. He keeps babbling, and she asks if he’s listening to what she’s saying. Not now.

Tom shows everyone around. Kristen sees PUMP from the balcony, and says they’ll be even more raging alcoholics than ever. Scheana wears a pink hard hat, and Rob marvels at the kick in the smoking drink. Jax talks to James, saying it’s better this way. He and Brittany aren’t happy, and when you’re not happy, you have to move on. James says he heard Brittany went home with a guy she met at In & Out Burger. In his interview, James says just to see Jax upset, pissed, and lonely makes him happy, since Jax tried to ruin his relationship. We flash back to Jax insisting James had cheated on Raquel. James says that’s what you get, and maybe Jax should find a chick his own age and move away. Just a thought. Jax tells Rob that Brittany wants to get married and have kids, but he doesn’t. Rob says Scheana is the same way. She talks about getting married when she just got a divorce, and he wants her to pump the brakes on social media. James joins them, and talks about what Scheana said to encourage Brittany, including that she has great boobs. Jax points out that he paid for them. I don’t even have to point out that Jax is the lowest of the lowlifes. He’s proving it for me all over the place.

Lala talks to Lisa about her showcase, saying she was in her element and totally herself. Lisa says she’s proud. Lala should have the confidence in herself that Lisa has in her. Lisa asks if Lala remembers when she used to walk away. Lala says now she’s on stage. Lisa tells Lala that she created a monster, but Lala says she created a badass.

Tom and Schwartz write the checks. Lisa asks if they’re going to bounce. They all hug. In his interview, Schwartz says writing the second check hurts so good. They’ll have to hold off on the Jet skis for a while. Ariana gives Tom a gift of a giant knife that I guess is used to open bottles, because the companion gift is a bottle of Dom Perignon. Tom pops the cork with the knife, and welcomes everyone to TomTom. Lisa says she loves all of them. She watched them grow up; some more quickly, and some not at all. She’s happy and proud to call Tom and Schwartz junior partners. She’s happy they’re moving forward. A huge moment has come to fruition.

Everyone moves on to PUMP. Stassi tells Katie that this made it real. Patrick shows up. Stassi is glad he’s there. She was afraid people would start thinking he wasn’t real. Brittany says Adam is a gentleman. In her interview, Brittany says she hasn’t been single in years, and has forgotten how to flirt. Lala says everyone thinks Brittany is hot.

Jax does shots with Scheana and Tom. Lisa tells Ken the cocktails were crazy. James asks to sit with them. Ken says he’s taking Giggy for a wee-wee, but first tells James that he’s doing a lot better, and gives him an envelope of cash. It’s some extra money for his Tuesday gig, since they did so well. Ken leaves with Giggy, and Lisa says she really feels he’s improved, and wants him back at SUR. James says he wasn’t expecting it; it’s a dream. In his interview, he’s worked very hard, and seen the difference. He’s not taking things for granted anymore. He didn’t realize how much he missed SUR until it was gone.

James tells the others – James, one; Jax, zero. For one brief, shining moment, I love James.

Adam talks to Brittany. He says she’s a good person. Jax tells Scheana he sees what she’s doing, trying to hook them up. Scheana says whatever they want to do is on them. Stassi wants to introduce Patrick to Lisa, and she’s nervous. She’s hard on their significant others. She appreciates it, but it makes her stomach swirl. Lisa says they’ve met before. Stassi didn’t think Lisa would remember. In her interview, Lisa explains she was in New York, doing radio shows. When she found out Patrick worked there, she came by and waved. Patrick says he liked watching her walk away. Being British, Lisa doesn’t even bat and eye, and thanks him for his kind words. Lisa asks if they’re good, and Patrick says, perfect. He asks if all couples aren’t perfect. Lisa is like, what? and Stassi says this is one of the reasons she loves him; they’re both incredibly dry and sarcastic. Lisa says Stassi isn’t herself, and asks if she’s sober. I’m wondering the same thing, since neither one of them are making any sense, and keep stammering. Patrick wanders off, and Stassi follows, telling Lisa that she’s going to protect her boyfriend.

Jax tells James that he loves Brittany, but when you love someone, you set them free. Jax never ceases to top himself on being the most horrible human on earth. If indeed he is human. Schwartz and Lisa talk about Tom and Ariana having a PDA session on a bench. Ariana says they’ve been through a lot, and we flash back to that. She loves that they’ve come through it to the other side, and the future is looking bright. I’m glad someone’s is.

Brittany says she let Jax control her and run her down, but it’s not happening anymore. She decides to talk to Jax, and he makes the mistake of asking her how she’s doing. She says he put her through hell. She wants to move on, and doesn’t need to see him; she’s at her limit. She says he’s wrong; wrong about how he treated her, wrong about how he ended it, and wrong about what did to her with the cheating. Jax keeps repeating, you’re right. Brittany says he’s so self-focused, and after everything she’s done for him. He gets all defensive, asking if he hasn’t done anything for her. She tells him to quit acting like he takes care of her. He’s a liar and a cheater. She’s not letting him manipulate her anymore. She pays half the rent and half the bills (which is certainly more than Jax led everyone to believe), and taken a lot of sh*t. She’s not letting him come at her. She’s fine on her own, and happy being on her own, because she deserves better. Jax says he’s been telling everyone that. She says the reason she stayed is, when she loves, she gives it her all. He says he knows; he ended it. She accuses him of being happy to say that. In his interview, he claims he was just trying to do the right thing. He gets up, telling her goodnight, and she says he’s not moving down the hall. He tells her not even Jesus Christ can stop him. She calls him disgusting, relieving me of my duty to do so.

Katie says she heard Lisa met Patrick. Lisa says it seemed awkward; Stassi is not on her game. Katie thinks Stassi is uncomfortable. In her interview, Lisa says Stassi is a bright individual, but tends to pick guys who put her down. She doesn’t want that for any woman. Katie says Stassi is tightly wound. Lisa has no interest in making her uncomfortable, but repeats that it was awkward.

Patrick asks if they should leave, but Stassi doesn’t want to leave sad. Lisa comes to their table, and says they got off on the wrong start. She says she was just playing with Patrick the way he was when he’d said he liked the view. She tells Stassi that she just wants her to find someone who loves her and treats her right. Patrick says he treats her well, and he’s right there. Lisa says she was referring to Stassi’s history, but I wonder. She says if they love each other, it’s good enough for her. Patrick says they’re good then, but she still has a great ass, and makes a few other inappropriate comments. In her interview, Lisa says not only is she old enough to be his mother, he’s saying this in front of his girlfriend who used to work for her. The only ass is the one in front of her. Agreed. He might be minus the man bun, but he’s no less an idiot. Lisa asks if Stassi is okay; she doesn’t want a misunderstanding.

When Lisa is gone, Stassi apologizes to Patrick. I’m flabbergasted, since she has no reason to. She says if he’s going to break up with her, please don’t let it be tonight. Oh no. Stassi is so much better than this. In her interview, Stassi says she loves Patrick, and wants it to work out. If he wasn’t around, it would be like a limb was gone, which she recognizes says something about her; maybe she has a screw loose. She says, sorry, and Patrick gets up. In her interview, she says he blocks her on social media and on his phone, but she still loves him and wants to be with him. She’s cray. They leave PUMP.

Schwartz tells Lisa and Ken that he’s been a little wishy-washy, and thanks them for sticking with him. They toast, and Tom says appreciation is an understatement. In his interview, Schwartz says he feels his balls starting to drop; they’re plump and robust. I’m dying laughing. Ken says he’s beginning to believe in them, and everyone clinks glasses. James tells Brittany that her eyebrows looked good when she was berating Jax. She’s got this.

Lisa tells Jax that it’s time to talk. Schwartz asks her to go easy on him. Jax sits at the table, and the first thing he does is tells Lisa she looks good. I don’t even have the words to say how much I despise him and his technique. He apologizes, saying he’s never acted that way before; his friends say he was possessed. Lisa says she’s given him chances, and he blatantly disrespected her. He says he’s sorry, and she says it’s one thing being sorry, and another acting sorry. He says he’s sorry he ruined everyone’s life. He doesn’t know what to do anymore. In her interview, Lisa says she has to be careful. Jax is a player, and could be playing her. She tells him that she’s not going down this emotional road, and dabs at her eyes. Jax asks what she wants him to do, and she says grow the eff up. In his interview, Jax says if he goes to Florida, he’ll literally be leaving everyone behind and starting over. He hurt everyone, even though he thought he was on the right path. He asks if she’s going to fire him, but she says she knows what he’d do with that – act like a victim. It will always be about him. She says he should do the decent thing. He wants someone to tell him what that is, and she says, hand in his resignation. What he should have done a while ago. He says, okay. He’s sorry he put her through hell, and doesn’t deserve working for her. Does she think this sounds as bullsh*tty as I do? Lisa tells him there’s nothing more to be said. He thanks her, and leaves.

In her interview, Lisa says she looks at all of them. Lala is growing up, Tom and Schwartz have the bar, and James is doing better. She’s emotionally involved with them. We go down Jax Memory Lane – his nose job, his next nose job, wearing a dress at Villa Rosa. Lisa says Jax is still making the same mistakes he was making six years ago. If he can’t wake up, she’ll do it for him.

James toasts to TomTom. Tom tells Jax to sit, but Jax says he has to blow. It’s not right for him to be there. In his interview, Jax says he’s worked for over seven years at SUR, but that train has come to a stop. He’s literally starting from scratch.

James tells Raquel that he loves her, and she says she’s proud of him. Lala and Brittany toast to chicks knowing what the eff they want, Lisa says SUR might be looking for a new bartender, and James says, huh? Jax walks down the road. Well, the sidewalk anyway.

Next time, the reunion – with tension so bad, even Rob can’t fix it.

😭 Here’s the really sad epilogue. Along with Shep from Southern Charm, Jax was on Watch What Happens Live tonight. He and Brittany are back together. They showed a clip from the reunion, and sadly, Jax’s father died. I don’t wish that on anyone – even Jax. But that’s still no reason. Seriously. Wtf? Shep was at least honest in saying he doesn’t make any commitments. I’ve said it before, I think Shep would make a great friend, but dating? No. Not unless you don’t want it to go any further than that. He seems like a nice guy though. Unlike Jax. Who is lower than a worm. He also didn’t take the Florida job, suddenly claiming that the only reason he considered it, was because his father lived there. Which he’d never mentioned once. That’s if there ever was a job. As Judge Marilyn Milian says, I wouldn’t believe his tongue if it came notarized.

🍹 It’s surprised me that I’m enjoying Southern Charm New Orleans. I’m quite attached to Charleston and the original group, but NOLA has a distinctly different vibe. The cast seems to actually work at jobs, although it has gotten to the point where there’s too much drinking going on. The architecture and music are enough to give it a look. And of course, little dogs.
