The Walking Dead

While watching for the Saviors, Morgan sees a vision of Gavin, who tells him that he knows what it is, and says Morgan was supposed to. Supposed to what, we don’t know, but Morgan says, no! and fights with nothing. He hears a car horn beep, and beeps back. Daryl blows an airhorn, and more cars honk theirs. Back at the ranch Hilltop, Jerry says, it’s on. Henry asks Ezekiel for a weapon, but Ezekiel tells him to stay and guard the place. Carol tells him he’ll die if he goes out during the attack. I see this ending badly.

Dr. Dana complains that Siddiq has no experience. He tells her he’s already performed three surgeries. She asks if he can shoot a gun while holding someone down. She tells him that someone who doesn’t know enough, is more dangerous than someone who doesn’t know sh*t. Siddiq tells her to stop asking what he’s done, and start telling him what to do. She says she likes him, and tells him to get ready.

Everyone waits. The Saviors arrive.

Simon has his men remove a roadblock. Maggie radios for Negan. Simon says he’s Negan, although his birth certificate says Simon. He offers condolences for what has happened, and what has about to. (Shades of Roscoe Lee Brown in The Cowboys.) He tells her that he personally received her care package. It was in the box he gave her in good faith; the trick was on him. Maggie says the bill is due, and they have to pay. They have thirty-eight of his people, alive and breathing. He’ll leave if he wants it to stay that way. If he doesn’t, she has thirty-eight bullets she’ll personally fire. Alden says it’s too nice a night to spend dying slow. Simon tells her that it’s highly regrettable, but they’re damaged goods. They got into their own pickle. The idea is to avoid capture, and now they’ll have to figure it out on their own. His own sh*t way of saying, screw them. Gregory tells Maggie that her cockamamie plan didn’t work, but she says it will.

Simon tells his men the plan has changed. They’re not aiming merely for infection, but conclusion. They’re doing away with all of them. Dwight says that’s not what Negan wanted, and he could still be out there. Is Simon sure he wants to face that with him? Simon tells Dwight it’s better to beg forgiveness than ask permission. Daryl rides past on his bike, shooting.

The gate opens, and Daryl drives in. The Saviors begin to follow, but the Hilltop bus suddenly blocks their path, and the first car rams into it. The Hilltoppers start to shoot. The Saviors shoot back, some using arrows. Alden asks Maggie to let him help defend the place. Maggie yells something I don’t hear. There’s lots of shooting. Carol runs to Tobin, who’s been hit. Siddiq comes by to relieve her, so she can go back to the fray. Simon and Dwight sneak around. Daryl sees them. Simon throws an ax, and hits someone. Michonne tells Daryl that they have to go. They shoot out the car headlights. It’s suddenly silent and dark.

Simon is such a jerk. He Captain Obviously says he can’t see sh*t. He sneaks around with a group of Saviors, and says he wants place surrounded. He tells them, slow and quiet. Dwight asks where the rest are, and Simon tells him that they’re making a house call. If Hilltop is at home, it’s time to do some proper slaughtering. He whistles, giving me a headache, and annoying the crap out of me. The Hilltoppers shoot at them, I’m so happy because it stops Simon’s whistling. The Saviors run. Some headlights come on, and here comes Rick, gun blazing.

Rick kicks ass, and almost whacks Siddiq. He tells Siddiq to stay low. Morgan’s Gavin vision tells that he knows what it is. Maggie and Rick shoot at the Saviors who are leaving. Maggie says she wanted them dead. All of them; Negan most of all. Rick says, him too. She asks if Rick saw him. Rick says he wasn’t there tonight, be he saw him out there. He tried to kill him, but didn’t. Maggie thanks him.

Tara thinks Dwight is on their side. She reminds Daryl that she was once with the Governor. Daryl’s brother was with them too. Daryl says if he’d stuck with his brother, they probably would have ended up with the Saviors. She says maybe Dwight figured out who they were. Daryl asks if that was before or after he killed Tara’s girlfriend, or are they square now? Tara says they are; he saved her life. She saw him try to help them. Daryl says he saw what he saw too.

Optimistic Rick takes the boards off of the windows in his house. Michonne saved him a turnip, but he says he’s good. He tells her that the generators were turned off to save gas, and the kids will need air. She asks to look at his cut, but he wants to finish first. She starts to help. He tells her that he saw the convoy, and he had to try.

Jerry digs graves. I mean literally, not that he thinks they’re cool. Maggie tells Alden he can bury his people, but he says they’re not his; he’s glad to see them that way. He tells Maggie that she’s a good leader. He knew it before, but last might she saved the community; she saved lives. Maggie says it’s because they sacrificed theirs, indicating the graves. She says it came at a cost, but her only regret is that Negan isn’t in the pile of bodies.

Carol nurses Tobin. He tells her if he knew getting stabbed got him this kind of attention, he’d have done it sooner. She tells him that she’s sorry for leaving, and for what she did. He says she doesn’t owe him anything. He asks if any of it was real, and she says she didn’t want it to be. She was pretending, trying to live a lie, because she couldn’t be around any more fighting and dying. At the time, maybe it felt like it wasn’t going to be pretending anymore. Tobin tells her that’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to him. He asks if she’s leaving again, but she doesn’t know. She might accept that some are lucky to live, and some are lucky to fight. He asks what about after it ends, but she doesn’t think it does. He tells her the end is what they’re fighting for. Carol says it just means they get tomorrow. Maybe one more night; one more morning. After that, there’s no guarantees. As she’s talking, Alden buries the Saviors. Henry picks up a gun, and sneaks out. We see a clock ticking.

Rick loads his gun. Siddiq says he can treat Rick’s wound; he doesn’t want an infection. He tells Rick about a prayer for the dead he remembers from when he was little. Do not send us astray after them. He says, those who die, don’t. Rick gets up and leaves.

Holding a hurricane lamp, Maggie goes through the hallways crowded with people. She asks a man how he’s feeling. He says the doctor stitched him up. She says they’re lucky to have him, and the man says they’re lucky to have her. Gregory was all about himself and what he wanted; that’s not her.

In the infirmary, Tobin is startled awake at 2:13. Another guy wakes up, and asks what’s going on. One of the patients says he’s going to get the doctor, but just before he gets out the door, Tobin grabs him, and takes a bite. Oh well. I don’t know what this clock thing is about, but we keep seeing various timepieces.

Now it’s 4 a.m., and Dana walks in. She looks down, and realizes she’s standing in a pool of blood. Tobin takes a bite of her too. We hear zombie noises, along with the baby crying. The guy Maggie was talking to is now a zombie. He ambles, no, falls down the stairs. Hey, everybody, wake up!

Henry pokes at Gregory through the fence with his gun. Gregory asks Henry to let him out. Henry asks who killed his brother, but Gregory doesn’t know. He tells Henry that he isn’t one of them. He says Henry has a dangerous weapon, and he doesn’t want anyone to get hurt. He asks Henry to give it to him, and they’ll talk. He’s sorry about Henry’s brother, but killing them won’t bring him back. Henry says it will make him feel better. He did it once before; why not there? He asks if he has to start shooting until someone tells him who killed Ben. Alden says his brother died too. Killing his murderer sounds good in theory, but won’t make him feel better. Henry says it will for now. They hear screaming from inside.

Maggie sees chaos – running and biting, Daryl stabbing zombies in the head. I’d just leave. Michonne does a nice sword through the head move. Outside, Jared says it’s music to his ears. Henry asks if it was him, but Jared doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Henry lets himself into the Savior pen. He wants to know now. Alden says words are easier to live with than actions, but Henry says be a man and step forward, so he doesn’t have to kill their friends. He’s going to start counting to ten. When he gets to four, a zombie bites one of the Saviors, and there’s a free-for-all. Jared grabs the gun, and the Saviors run out, Gregory running along with them. Henry is left lying in the pen.

Morgan pikes zombies in the head. Daryl wonders if the zombies got in with the Saviors. Morgan says it’s their own people. Tobin is busy upstairs. Carol pulls him off someone, and stabs him in the head after only a momentary hesitation, and no doubt quick trip down Memory Lane. Daryl asks if she’s okay. She says he wasn’t bit, but he turned. Rick tells them about Negan’s bat being covered in zombie blood. They realize that anyone who was wounded is going to turn. A dude in one of the hospital beds says one of them will have to do it for him; he can’t. Everyone looks sad.

Rick tells the others that the house is clear. Tara asks how it happened. He tells her the Saviors did something to their weapons. Whoever was cut up or shot, got sick, and some turned. Daryl says Tara told him that she was done waiting. He could have killed Dwight, and should have. She says, no; he wanted to be there with them, but no matter how hard he tried, she wanted him dead. She couldn’t let it be anything else. Karma’s a bitch. Rick ponders that.

Outside, the struggle is real. Alden tells Maggie that some of them are trying to keep the gate closed. She sees some of the Saviors bracing the gate against the zombies. Siddiq tells her that he went to check on the prisoners, but the pen was empty. She asks Alden where they went, but he says they just ran. He tells her that he and the ones left had plenty of chances to run, but maybe it doesn’t matter to her.

Carol looks for Henry with Ezekiel. Enid tells them that he broke into the pen before the Saviors escaped. Carol says she told him this would happen, like that helps. Morgan thinks this over. Gavin appears, and keeps repeating, you know what it is, until he’s yelling. Morgan says, no.

Jerry and Jesus bury their people. Diane asks Maggie, what is it? and Maggie says, the cost. Rick nods sagely, and we end with a crane shot of all the graves.

I wonder why they kept focusing on Rick’s wound…

Next time, Rick goes hunting, Rosita wants the bullet maker, Jadis drags Negan out of the container she’d kept Rick in, Ezekiel wants to look for Henry and calls Carol a coward.

👹 Fear the Walking Dead returns on April 15th, and looks promising. The group takes over an amusement park, and raises sheep. Morgan also joins them, and Victor sports a new hairdo.

⚓ Talking Dead was bumped up an hour tonight to make room for a sneak preview of new series, The Terror. Set in 1847, and based on a true story about a ship that disappeared, the crew of a Royal Naval expedition searches for the Arctic’s treacherous Northwest Passage. Instead, they discover a monstrous predator. The two-hour premiere begins at 9 pm on Monday. The first hour was basically a set-up for the horror to come, but it looks good.

🍑 Kenya’s husband finally made an appearance on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, when she launched her PSA on domestic violence. The main takeaway point for me though, was what the hell was NeNe wearing? A muumuu?  That outfit was worse than the one Sheree was wearing for the pictorial she sent to her incarcerated boyfriend. Next time, a Halloween costume party. I’m not sure what difference this will make from any other episode at this point.

General Hospital

Alexis tells Julian that Finn is decent, dependable, honest, and makes her happy.

Anna tells Andre that she didn’t think she could love anyone after Duke. He says the subject of the conversation is heading this way. He tells her that she’ll be fine, and leaves. Finn asks how Brussels was, and Anna says, eye-opening. He’s glad she and Andre had a nice trip. He starts to move along, but she asks him to wait. She says there is no her and Andre; not the way he thinks. She asks if he has a minute to talk, and he thinks he can spare some time.

Brad tells Sonny the lab results are back, and Griff will decide on the medication. Mike says he’s got to meet a shipment at Luke’s place, and asks if Sonny wants to tag along.

Nelle asks the baby if the scarf placement is perfect. She thinks so too, and gets out of Carly’s office.

Carly gives Michael the key card for the suite. He tells her a regular room would be fine, but she asks where he’d put the baby. He tells her that he’s not staying, and she says she doesn’t care, as long as he’s far away from Nelle. Michael leaves, and Jason walks in. Carly tells him about Michael moving, and he says he’s happy for her. It creeps me out a little that he said her instead of Michael. Carly says now if Sam just admits she belongs with Jason, all will be right in her world. Now I’m officially creeped out.

Sam tells Drew they need to talk. He asks what’s up. Her first impulse was to wait, but having done that in the past, she thinks it makes things worse. He says she can tell him anything. She says she has feelings for Jason. He asks what that means, and Sam says she still loves him.

Julian tells Alexis that he doesn’t believe it. She says his ego knows no bounds. Does he think no one else can make her happy? Finn does it for her quite well. He takes those walks in the woods with her that Julian wouldn’t go on. She says Finn isn’t a substitute; she’s moving on, and so should he. Kim overhears, and smiles.

Anna tells Finn it wasn’t a romantic getaway; it was a business trip. He tells her that he heard the casinos are bumping in Brussels. She asks if bumping is a thing, and tells him that no one can pull off using that word. She says Andre is still with the WSB, and Finn says, spy business. He gets it; classified intel. She says not in this case. It was personal. He asks what she was looking for.

Mike talks about Sonny playing kick the can on Thursdays. He was so serious, Mike had to laugh. Sonny tells him that he wasn’t around for that, but Mike says, if that’s the case, how would he remember? Mike asks why they’re always waiting, and Sonny tells him that they’re waiting for his favorite nurse, Deanna. He has to calm down now. Mike says, first Sonny called him a liar, now he’s telling him to calm down. He wants to go home.

Carly tells Jason that Sam admitted she still loved him, the next step is them being together. Spinelli joins them. He says he has some business there, but it will be nice for Maxie to spend some time with Georgie. He apologizes to Jason for being late; he had to make his way around the earthquake damage. His gratitude knows no bounds that they’re all okay. Carly asks what kind of business, and Jason says, not yours. Ha-ha! She tells them that she has her own business waiting on her desk, and goes back to her office. Jason asks if Spinelli has a good plan, and he says he does indeed. Jason says, let’s hear it.

Sam tells Drew that she was too afraid to admit it. She’s in love with Jason, but loves him too. She says her love is real, and tells him to look in her eyes. It’s painful for her. She’s confused, and doesn’t understand it herself. She loves them both. He asks why did they get married?

Anna tells Finn seeing Alexis in his room did sting a little; she’d thought they had a connection. He tells her that he and Alexis aren’t together, but she just keeps talking. When she was away, she thought about them. Finn supposes he did too. She says why it didn’t get off the ground is on her. She’s been guarded about something, and put a barrier between them. She told herself it was to protect him, but she was really protecting herself. She’s afraid it will change the way he sees her. She asks if that makes sense, and Finn says, no.

Sonny tells Mike, we have to get a test. Mike wonders where the we is, since he’s the only one who gets poked and prodded. Sonny says they’re doing this together. Michael arrives, and tells Mike he’s been getting ready for the baby. Mike says, his first great-grandchild. Michael talks about all the baby supplies he needs to get, and Mike says all he needs is a big heart. He asks if Michael has a crib. Michael says he does, and Mike says all that’s missing is earplugs.

Carly goes into her office. I’m hoping she drops dead when she sees the scarf, but instead she says, what the hell? She doesn’t even realize what it is, so, plan fail. She looks at the picture. Oh yeah, it’s Morgan’s scarf.

Spinelli tells Jason he’s been ruminating on the plan. Hasty multiple bank break-ins in Europe, devising an entry, opening vaults and safe deposit boxes, and devising an exit. He thinks he has a simpler alternative. Who better to gain access than Faison’s heir? The mystery son remains a mystery. Who’s to say Henrik doesn’t look like him.

Sam tells Drew that they got married because they love each other. That hasn’t changed. He says it feels like something did. She says they built an amazing life together, and she wanted to hold on to it. He says somewhere along the line, things changed. She tells him that she meant the vows. Looking into eyes of the man she loved, she meant every word. He says when marry someone, you commit yourself to them, and only them, for the rest of your life. He committed himself to her, but she can’t do that for him anymore. She says not until knows who she is.

At Kelly’s, Kim has some pie, and says Julian promised she wouldn’t be eating it alone. He says he’s not an eating his feelings kind of guy, and she suggests he change that; it works. He takes a bite, and puts the fork down. She tells him that he’s officially a robot. She asks what’s next, and he says he doesn’t have much choice. He has to get over Alexis. He’s never tried it before. He’s pathetic; they’re divorced, and Alexis can’t stand him. Maybe he assumed she’d come around, but that’s not going to happen. Kim says she doesn’t think so. He tells her to give him the pie.

Deanna asks if Mike is ready for her, and he says it depends on his grandson. Michael says he’ll be there, and Mike tells Deanna, no funny business; he’s spoken for. She says she’ll try to restrain herself. Sonny thanks Michael. Michael says he didn’t do anything; he’s just taking care of his grandfather. Sonny calls him a good man, and Michael says it’s easy for him. Mike didn’t walk out on him when he was a kid. He tells Sonny that when he was little and asked Sonny about something, he made Michael feel like he was the most important person to him. Sonny says he was. His mom and the kids always were. Michael wants to make sure to pay it forward with his son or daughter. Sonny says he never realized what a blessing memory was. Michael says he’s sorry Sonny is going through this. Sonny says, not him, and Michael says it’s hard for Mike too, but soon, he won’t recognize what’s going on. Sonny tells Michael about Mike remembering him kicking cans. It’s clear he remembered it, but Sonny doesn’t remember him being there. Who’s right? Michael says maybe truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Jason asks if Spinelli wants to pass himself off as Henrik. Spinelli says it’s genius, even if he says so himself. Jason asks what about proof, and Spinelli takes out Faison’s death certificate, Henrik’s birth certificate, and – thanks to Diane – a signed copy of the will, which gives him access to everything. Jason doesn’t remember reading that in the will, and Spinelli says it’s in there now. The best part is that Jason doesn’t even need to come. Jason says he kinda does, but Spinelli says he needs to stay here to be the strong, supportive shoulder that Sam might need, and he suspects she will.

Sam tells Drew that she can’t get either one of them out of her heart. He says he thought what they had was real. She says it is. By this time, she’s crying, and says, it is real to her; he’s real. This didn’t happen to her; it happened to them. She knows it’s hard to understand, but Drew says he understands. Sam says she handled it in the worst possible way. The reality is, she loves them both, and can’t make it okay. She wishes she could, but she can’t make it okay for any of them until she figures out who she is. She has to learn how to trust herself again. She has no idea how she let it get this far. He asks, how far did it get?

Anna tells Finn there are all types of courage. The kind he has, going into surgery; the kind she does, staring down a bad guy. There’s also the kind it takes to confront someone about feelings. Finn makes her laugh, sometimes unintentionally. He makes her want to dive into it, but there’s a thing holding her back. She wonders what she’s doing. She’s being selfish because he’s with Alexis now. He tells her that she’s a good spy, but a terrible listener. Alexis pops out onto the pier, and says Finn is just the person she needs to see.

Nelle sneaks around the hallways at the MetroCourt. She reaches for the fire alarm.

Jason tells Spinelli that in taking care of everyone else, Sam forgot herself. Spinelli says it’s common, especially with mothers. Jason hopes she takes the time and space to rebuild her life, whether he’s in it or not. The fire alarm goes off.

Carly is like, great, and leaves her office.

Andre sees Sonny at the hospital. Sonny wonders, after everything Andre did to Jason and Drew, why is he walking around free? If it was up to him, it wouldn’t be option. Andre says that free is a matter or perspective. He was released on the grounds that he continues his research on memory mapping. Sonny hopes he gets it right this time. Andre says if he could go back and make amends, he’s do it in a heartbeat. Then, maybe he could actually be free, and Drew as well.

Sam tells Drew that she and Jason kissed on New Year’s. Drew says he felt it. She says she knew it was a mistake. She didn’t want to tell him because she didn’t want to lose him over that. He says, but here we are.

Carly tells Jason and Spinelli she thinks it’s a false alarm, but they’re waiting for the fire marshal to give them the all clear. She wonders if someone is trying to sabotage the hotel, but Spinelli says it’s probably a prank. She says it’s the weirdest day. She tells them that someone left a scarf in her office like the one she gave to Morgan. It was dirty, torn, and looked like it had dried blood on it.

Julian tells Kim she should try giving up on someone; it’s liberating. She thinks it’s the pie talking. He says no more measuring words, and Kim says no more working on being friends with someone when you want more. She tells him to fake it till he makes it, and she thinks he will. He does too. She likes his attitude, but he says it’s probably the pie talking.

Alexis apologizes to Finn and Anna; clearly she’s interrupting. Anna says it looks urgent, and she has to go to the hospital anyway. She jets, and Alexis says Finn must want to kill her. He says her timing could be better. He was finally making headway, and she barged in and messed it up before he got there. She asks what if she told him something to make it worse> He says that’s not possible, and she says what if she told Julian that they were really serious? Finn says, it’s possible.

Mike comes back out, asking where Michael is; they were going to lunch. Sonny says he had to take care of some things, but he’s coming back. Sonny agrees that Mike was there when he was playing kick the can. Mike asks, where else would he be? Michael comes back, and suggests they go to Kelly’s. Sonny says he has some business, and tells them to go ahead. He smiles, watching them get into the elevator.

Carly brings Jason and Spinelli to her office, but there’s no scarf. Ohh, I get it. Plan no fail. She says it’s the strangest thing; it’s gone. She left it there when the alarm went off, and the door locks automatically. She says it’s the exact same scarf, showing them the picture. She says it’s beyond bizarre, and Spinelli says it appears they have another mystery on their hands.

Drew though what had enough guess not begs him to stay and talk he can’t he’s between us no place for him can’t stay there

Alexis says she’ll tell Julian the truth, but Finn asks, what’s the point, since he and Anna aren’t a couple? She says for her own sanity. He says she doesn’t want to be with Julian, so if the lie works in her favor, go for it. She’s concerned he won’t be the only one who believes it. Finn insists that at this point, he doesn’t care. Let it stand.

Anna runs into Andre as he’s coming out of the hospital elevator. She says she opened up in a blundering way. Just when it couldn’t get worse, Alexis showed up. Andre says he’s sorry. She gets in the elevator, and says he should be. She thought he was supposed to be a professional.

Kim tells Julian that she’ll have to roll home after that pie, and he says there’s a crane in the vicinity. He tells her that she could eat a hundred pies, and still be gorgeous. He says he’ll walk her out to the car. She almost trips, and he catches her. She says, she’s a dancer, and he says, really? She says, no, and he kisses her. She kisses back.

Sonny tells Andre if he wants to make amends, he might have an idea.

Sitting at Kelly’s lunch counter, Nelle asks Brad about the adoption, and congratulates him and Lucas. She asks if he’s excited, and he says, cautiously excited. She can imagine the baby cousins playing together. He tells her to take care of herself, and she says she’s doing everything she needs.

Carly says, first the phone calls, now this. Spinelli wonders what she’s talking about. Jason explains that the calls came from a pay phone. They began with the sound of the wind; then hanging up; then an explosion. He left one out, when they spoke, but I’ll let it pass. He doesn’t think they should jump to conclusions, and have to find out how the scarf got there, and how it disappeared. Carly says, sounds like a plan. Not really.

Drew tells Sam that he loves her. He gave her everything he is; all he’s got. He believes she loves him, but she loves his brother too. It’s too painful to stay there. She might be able to love more than one person, but he’s only capable of loving one. She says he’d told her if she needed him, to just grab his hand; he promised her. He can’t tell her how many times he touches his ring during the day. It reminds him of his family; that’s all that matters. It’s his life now, but suddenly it’s like everything else – just not real. Sam says, they’re real. Go upstairs, and look at their baby and tell her it isn’t real They made her out of love. Drew says, she’s right; Scout is his daughter, and nothing is going to change that. She’ll always have his heart; he wishes he could say same about her. She’ll always be his wife, but he can’t. He puts his ring on the desk. Sam begs him to stay, but he leaves. Wtf did she expect?

On Monday, Ned says there’s a tough job ahead, Alexis asks Jason what he’s saying, and Sonny offers Andre a chance to do good.

📠 Tonight’s Relative Success with Tabatha featured a consignment shop owned by a married couple who seemed like they couldn’t be more mismatched. Since the husband fronted a lot of the business, he thought his responsibility ended there. His wife thought differently, and wanted support in other ways. He started to promote the business among his colleagues, and all was well. Except for her having to fire her niece. This was a blessing in disguise, since said niece was unhappy anyway. Tabatha was annoyed that she practically had to drag it out of her though. I could relate to the wife’s issues about support. It was like the difference between my husband taking something to the post office for me, and sharing the link to my eBay store. Support comes in many forms.

General Hospital

Kim visits Carly at her office. She tells Carly that Oscar acts like nothing happened, but she’s totally freaked out. Carly says she asked Kim to come by to talk about Josslyn and Oscar.

Michal asks Nell how she’s feeling after the birthing class. She says a little intimidated. He wishes he could do more than rub her back and tell her to breathe. She’s sure he’ll be a good coach since he’s an overachiever. He tells her he made some printouts, and she says his date must have ended early. She hopes it’s not because of her.

Anna and Andre take a break on the pier after jogging. Anna says she hasn’t been sleeping well. She just lies there and thinks about regret after regret.

Finn tells Elizabeth and Sam that the guys have no diseases, but he gave them some antibiotics and a tetanus shot. Franco and Drew come out, and Finn makes himself scarce. Franco asks them to tell him Jim has been arrested, but Elizabeth says not yet. There are additional charges pending for him kidnapping Betsy. He’d had her locked up in his house, and she was taken to a hospital in Buffalo. Jordan will let them know when she’s well enough to talk. Sam wonders what Jim wanted to keep quiet. Drew says it’s something that goes back to when they were kids, and Jim was Betsy’s boyfriend.

Anna tells Andrew if Henrik helped Faison or continued his work, and Jason finds him, he’ll take the first chance to kill him. Andre says, if he’s her son. Anna asks who else could he be? Andre says he’s a grown man, and she’s not responsible for his choices or the consequences. She disagrees. She gave him up, and thought he went to a good home and family. How he ended up taken away and in Faison’s hands, she doesn’t know, but it’s one of the things keeping her up at night. Andre asks if she’s any closer, and she says she has a lead; a glimmer of hope. He asks if she’s thought about coming face to face with him, and telling him. She says there will be no tearful reunion, but telling him about the possible genetic illness is the least she can do.

At Kelly’s, Finn orders what looks like a giant sticky bun for Alexis. She thanks him, and asks him to help her eat it. She asks how Drew is, and he says, released: Sam is taking him home. She asks if Roxie’s beard has gone down. He says it was touch and go, but she seems to be back to normal. She wonders if he’s talked to his brother. He says, half-brother, and thinks Chase may still be pouting since Julian dropped the charges. Julian must have radar, since he’s suddenly there. He says Finn can thank him any time. He can keep the flowers; Julian will settle for scotch.

Carly says Kim’s son risked his life to save Josslyn. She can’t think of her being in a better place than with Oscar. Kim says she’s glad Josslyn came over, or Oscar would have insisted on going to school to see her. Carly says Josslyn wouldn’t be alive if not for Oscar. Kim tells her by the time Drew got the door open, they were already unconscious. They looked like kids who just fell asleep, but they had hypothermia. Carly thinks it must have been terrifying. Kim says as a doctor, she’s trained in objectivity, but when it involves your kid, it adds another layer. She tells Carly about Josslyn putting up a fight when the detective evacuated her, and how it was the worst moment of her life when she couldn’t get a pulse on her son. She doesn’t want to imagine life without him; he’s her everything. She asks Carly if she said something wrong, but I’m too distracted by Carly’s amazing earrings to see the look on her face. They’re these artisan hammered metal circles.

Michael tells Nelle that he’s didn’t intend to discuss his fate with her. Nelle says he’s allowed a personal life, and she’ll have one too, when she gets back out there. He says their lives are completely separate, and she says they’re having a baby and living in the same house. It will be handy for midnight feedings and diaper changes, and they’ll be able to share the baby’s firsts. He says it’s not going to be that way. He’s moving out. After last night, he realized the living situation is unworkable. She tells him that he doesn’t have to leave home just to go on a date. No matter where he lives, he can’t keep the baby a secret. He says he’s not intending too, and is looking forward to being a father, but the living situation is too complicated. She asks if he’s going to live with his parents, but he says he just decided last night. He’s taking a room at the MetroCourt until he finds something. Nelle says, great. Now she has to go past Carly if she needs to see him. Michael is sure she can avoid Carly, but she says no, she can’t.

Carly shows Morgan’s picture to Kim. She says it’s been a year and a half, but she still gets overwhelmed. Grief doesn’t go away. It just gets pushed into the background, and hits you again. Kim says she’s sorry; she’s sure it’s difficult to talk about. Carly says he was killed by a car bomb meant for someone else. He was killed in an instant; no goodbye. Kim can’t imagine what she went through. Carly says it was devastating for all of them, and tore the family apart for a while, but they’re back together. They’re stronger now, and share their feelings and memories. He’s still with them in their memories and dreams. She wanted to thank Kim again for her son’s heroism. Kim says Josslyn is a terrific kid. Carly says now that they’ve agreed their kids are wonderful, what were they doing in the freezer? Kim says, seeking privacy. Carly asks how much privacy? Kim doesn’t know, but thinks it’s time to face the truth – it’s more serious than they thought. Carly hopes not enough for condoms. Kim doesn’t think so, but remembers how powerful first love was. Doesn’t Carly?

Drew tells Sam that something happened when they were kids. He’s not clear on the details, but Jim’s version is a lie. She asks what he meant by dealing with Franco? He says Franco knew that Betsy held the key to their past, and they came up with a plan to plant a bug in Jim’s hotel room. Franco was going to tell Jim that he knew where Betsy was, but the conversation got out of hand. Drew heard it, and busted in to help Franco. The next thing they knew, they were in a subbasement. Sam says it’s amazing that they got the drop on him. She asks what happened after that, but a nurse shows up with the release paperwork.

When they’re alone, Elizabeth tells Sam that she guesses they know Franco didn’t want to hurt Drew. Sam says, do they? Elizabeth says Sam is going to be the one to hurt him.

Anna tells Andrew that in the book, the estranged son of Isaac Revson – an anagram for Faison – hid his son in Switzerland. She’s starting there to research and match records, hoping to find Henrik’s alias. Andre tells her if she needs help, he’s there for her. Anna says if it wasn’t for him, she’d have no one to talk to about it. He says there is someone else who would help if she opened up, or is Finn one of the regrets keeping her up?

Finn says Julian had him arrested for defending Roxie’s honor, and he’s supposed to have gratitude? Julian says Finn assaulted him after he brought a lizard into Charlie’s. Finn says, bearded dragon. Julian says, lizard; even the airlines are cracking down on it. (Probably a bad choice of example, considering United just killed a puppy.) Alexis tells Finn to just say thank you, and move on. Julian says Finn doesn’t seem to need emotional support right now, or is it that he doesn’t want to stick it to Kelly’s?

Nelle tells Michael that Carly is paranoid with anything to do with her, thinking she’s up to something or trying to make herself look good. She’s just trying to be a better person, but Carly doesn’t see that, and sabotages her at every turn. Michael reminds her that Carly helped her in the earthquake. Nelle admits that’s true, but says she was getting close to Olivia-Q when she overheard Carly poisoning Olivia against her. Now she’s getting the cold shoulder. Carly is completely unhinged when comes to her, and it’s horrible that he can’t see it.

Carly asks if Kim would follow Drew into a freezer. Kim says he doesn’t even remember her, but Carly says it seems like they’ve gotten closer. Kim says they’re finding a way to co-parent. The earthquake put everything in perspective. All the silly bickering doesn’t matter when you find yourself in a situation like that. Drew was as fearless and selfless as she remembered. If Oscar was a hero, he got it from his father. Carly says it’s quite a testimonial, and sounds like she has feelings for him. Kim says he’s married, and Carly says, things change. I guess she doesn’t care that Kim barely knows her, and that sounds pretty bad. She says Sam and Jason belong together, and it’s only a matter of time before Drew is free. Let me hate Carly some more for trying to manipulate Kim.

Franco thanks Drew for not telling Elizabeth about their past. Drew thinks maybe Franco should trust her. It’s his story to tell, but she deserves that much.

Sam tells Elizabeth to cut the cryptic remarks. Whatever it is, just say it. Elizabeth says she saw how desperate Sam was to find Drew, but it’s no secret that Jason is waiting for her. The guys come back. Drew and Sam leave, and Franco asks Elizabeth if she wants to go home.

Before Franco went to look for Jim, Elizabeth had told him to leave her alone, but they were happy to see each other, even though he was soaking wet and smelly. He’s touched that she went to look for him with Sam, of all people. Elizabeth says she was worried, and scared she’d never see him again. He tells her the universe gave them a second chance. She says what they do with it is up to him. There’s something he’s not telling her; just say it. She’s giving him a last chance. He needs to come clean once and for all.

Sam tells Drew that Danny asked to stay home to see him. He says he was afraid he’d never see her or the kids again, and he’d be stuck in a concrete box with Franco. Sam says she’s confused. When she spoke with him, he said he was dealing with Franco, and hung up. What happened? If two guys got the jump on him, something major went down. He tells her that something Jim said freaked Franco out. When he got there, Franco was curled in a ball. He was so worried, that he didn’t see them. She asks what Jim said, and Drew tells her something about what happened when they were kids. He doesn’t know if Jim saw it or was part of it, but Jim knows something. He was willing to kill them and kidnap Betsy. Maybe they can uncover the truth.

Kim tells Carly that she’s not sitting home nights waiting for Drew. Carly asks if she’s seeing someone. Kim says she has a friend. They’re not ready for the next level, but are just enjoying spending time together. Carly asks, who, and Kim says, Julian. Carly says, no, hell no, because she rules the world, and decides how everyone should feel.

Finn thinks Julian is projecting. If Julian had just served him dinner, he would have been out of there in twenty minutes. Instead he had him arrested and traumatized Roxie for no reason other than he’s jealous. Finn says he’s lost his appetite, and he’ll see Alexis later. He leaves, and Julian asks if he is seeing Alexis later. She wonders why he’s asking, and if it’s true that he’s jealous. He says, yes, he is.

Anna tells Andre she doesn’t know what kind of person Henrik has become. Why put Finn in harm’s way? Besides, it’s a moot point; he’s seeing someone else. She ran into them, and it was a morning after awkward moment. She tells Andre to drop it. Andre says she’s the most courageous woman he’s ever met. Not that she doesn’t feel fear, but she perseveres. She’s aware of the risk, and endures the hazards without flinching at physical jeopardy, but now with Finn, she’s running scared.

Michael tells Nelle that he’s not going all around this. She says he can choose to deal or not, but Carly will always find a way to come between them. He says he makes his own decisions, and chose to end their relationship, not because of his mother, but because of Nelle’s lies. The only person between them is her. She can face that and move on, but if she doesn’t, it’s her problem. He leaves, and when he’s gone, Nelle says it’s not her problem; it’s his.

Drew tells Sam that he’s sorry. He should have communicated with her. He didn’t mean to put her through all that. She says she was scared and worried, but not angry. He has nothing to apologize for. Drew says, actually, he might. Somewhere along the way, he lost his ring.

Franco tells Elizabeth that he went to see Jim. He told him that he’d found Betsy, which wasn’t true, and Jim called his bluff. He said Franco’s mom would never believe him, and take Jim’s word. No one will ever believe him; all ever does is lie. Jim started toward him, and he had a flash of memory. He was little, and Jim was patting him on the back, tousling his hair, and saying no one will ever believe him. He just froze. He panicked, and he was there as little Bobby. Jim was towering over him, calling him a liar and a bad boy, saying no one will ever believe him. All he could do was curl up and put his hands over his ears. It wasn’t good. Drew burst in the door, trying to help him out. Elizabeth says she believes him. Jim stirred something, but what is it? What is he really remembering?

Andre tells Anna that it’s emotional cowardice; a discreet pulling back with someone else and giving up. She’s looking for her son, who could be a threat. Faison never killed her because he loved her in his twisted, psychotic fashion. If the son is as murderous as his father, he might not show the same restraint. The thought of going after a man who makes her happy scares her. She’s protecting herself more than Finn. He stirred up feelings and frightened her. Anna tells him not to analyze her; just be a friend. He tells her it’s time to believe she deserves happiness. He’s seen the way she talks about Finn. Stop talking, and go get him.

Julian tells Alexis that he has no right to feel jealous, but he does. She tells him that mutual comfort is no longer an option for them. He says that doesn’t stop him from caring. He tells her to be careful. Finn is still a recovering drug addict. Alexis says she’s a recovering alcoholic, and he’s an ex-con. He lives in a glass house, and needs to watch it. Julian asks how serious it is

Kim tells Carly that she’ll save her the trouble. She doesn’t need to warn her about Julian. She can clearly see he’s not over his ex yet. She asks if they can stop talking about her personal life, and back to praising her son. She thanks Carly for her fortitude in raising a spirited young woman who brings her son happiness. Carly thanks her, and Kim jets. Carly says, wow, and looks at Morgan’s picture. Michael comes in. She says she could use some good news, and he says he’s got some. He’s moving out, and getting his life back life without Nelle. Carly tells him that she’s so happy, and hugs him. Nelle listens outside the door.

Carly says it’s the best news, and tells him about a suite that’s available. He says it’s just temporary until he finds a place, but she says he might like it there. They leave to look at the suite, and Nelle lets herself into Carly’s office with a key. She sees Morgan’s picture, and that it’s the same photo as the one on his social media page. She takes out the scarf, and arranges it on the desk.

Alexis isn’t discussing her personal life with Julian. He says he needs to know, so he can stop hoping. Is it serious? She says, yes. She and Finn are getting quite serious.

Anna tells Andre that she never thought she’d love anyone after Duke. Finn was a surprise. Andre says, speaking as a shrink, she’s afraid something will happen to Finn like it did to Duke; or he might say she feels guilty for loving someone other than Duke. Or, he might say, the subject is heading this way. Finn comes out to the pier, and Andre tells her that she’ll be fine, and leaves.

Franco tells Elizabeth that he knows there’s more; he just doesn’t want to face it. He asks if they can please go. Elizabeth gets a text from Jordan that Franco’s mom is able to travel, and is on her way back. She wants to see him and tell him the truth about Jim.

Sam tells Drew that she found his ring. That’s how she knew Jim was lying. She told Elizabeth to take it to the police, while she stayed back. She overheard Jim talking about pouring the foundation. She gives Drew his ring back, and he says they’re where they’re supposed to be. Everything is whole again. He kisses her, and Sam says they need to talk. Yeah, here’s your ring back, and guess what?

Tomorrow, Anna asks Finn for a minute, Carly tells Jason that Sam needs to admit she wants to be with him, and Mike accuses Sonny of calling him a liar.

🐎 HBO’s Westworld will be back on April 22nd at 9 pm. I hear Shogun World might be included this time around. Incorporating other worlds was something I would have liked to see more of in the original film. I’m not sure Shogun is the one I would have picked though. Not when there could be a Medieval World. A Future World would be interesting too.

General Hospital

Curtis tells Jordan that he has all the evidence he needs to link Jim to illegal drilling. Jordan tells him she wasn’t there. They have to get the information anonymously to the PCPD. They start to leave, but hear something, and draw their guns. Jordan says he told her no one was home. He says no one was. He tells her to stay there, but she says, negative; she’s coming. He says if he gets caught, he gets arrested. If she does, it’s her badge. He moves forward.

Chase knocks on Jim’s door. He wants to ask Jim some questions about Drew and Franco.

Nelle looks at “Morgan’s” scarf and says, pretty convincing, if she does say so herself. She asks if the baby approves of the special present for Granny Carly. Ava comes in and asks, what’s that? Nelle tells her that she doesn’t want to know. Ava wonders if it’s part of Nelle’s plan to neutralize Carly. Nelle says she’s not just getting rid of Carly, she’s going to make Michael need her again.

Michael meets Francesca for their big date at Kelly’s. I see he spared no expense. Since he’s wearing a suit, she jokes about it being a job interview, and says she likes his office. She’s glad he texted. He’s glad she gave him her number. Great. Two boring people find each other.

Sam tells Elizabeth the foundation has already been laid. She calls 911, saying that Drew and Franco are stuck in the basement; she can hear them. She tells them to send an ambulance, the fire department, anything they can.

Chase brings Jim to the station. Jim says Chase is wasting his time. The last time he saw Drew was at the hospital, and he hasn’t seen Franco since before the earthquake. Chase shows him Drew’s ring, and asks if he recognizes it. Jim asks if he should, and Chase says it was recovered from his hotel room.

Ava tells Nelle that she’s right. The less she knows, the better. Nelle knew she’d understand. Ava knows she’s repeating herself, but maybe Nelle should call it off before she gets in too deep a hole. Nelle says she has no other road to take. Ava asks what happens if she succeeds, adding it’s a big assumption. Nelle says Michael will have no choice but to turn to her. Ava says she can’t make Michael need her. She tells Nelle that she used to rely on manipulation. Nelle points out all the things Ava has – the gallery, Griff, her face back – and Ava says that’s only because she stopped. Nelle says it would benefit Ava too. Doesn’t she want Avery back full time? Ava says nothing will eliminate Sonny having custody. She doesn’t want to get involved because she won’t risk losing Griff. In perfect soap timing, Griff walks in, and says, how would she lose him?

Michael says Francesca is different than he expected – in a good way. She tells him that she usually wears scrubs on her dates, and asks if he did any social media research on her. He compares it to stalking, but she says she checked him out. She noticed that family seems important, but other than that, he has no posts anywhere. He says his job keeps him busy, and she suggests maybe he wants to keep a low profile because he’s hiding something. He’s like, what? and she says she’s just messing with him. He says it’s been a while since he’s done this, and Francesca says it’s been a minute for her too. She tells him she goes to a lot of concerts, since she has some friends in bands. For her, it’s the louder, the better, so she can zone out and clear her head. Michael doesn’t know the last time he’s been to one, and she says she hasn’t been able to do much lately with nursing school work. Michael asks if she doesn’t give out her number to everyone, and she says, no; he’s the exception.

Curtis brings out Betsy, who babbles about not knowing when he’ll come back. He introduces her to Jordan.

Chase tells Jim that Sam found the ring in his room. Jim says it’s news to him, and asks if Chase can prove it was there, and if they don’t need a warrant. Chase says there’s no proof yet, but he’s getting a statement from Sam. Jim tells Chase that Sam and Elizabeth came to him, upset they couldn’t help locate Drew and Franco. Chase asks if he’s admitting they came to see him, and Jim says he has nothing to hide. He gets that they were worried, but as for the ring, Chase should question Sam more closely. Chase asks if he has a theory, and Jim says the return of her previous husband had a traumatic effect on Drew, which led to marital difficulties. Franco and Elizabeth’s wedding was also postponed. Chase asks what his point is, and Jim says maybe they’re avoiding the real issue. He’s not going to take the fall for their marital problems. Maybe Drew and Franco walked out. He suggests they need a relationship counselor, not the police.

A fireman tells Sam there’s no proof they’re down there. Elizabeth says they know Jim took them. Sam begs him for help.

Nelle tells Griff that Ava thought a piece she was pitching might be too provocative. He says he’d love to see it, but Nelle says Ava is right. It was too out there. She leaves, and Griff asks Ava if he just ruined the next big thing in the art world, but Ava says, just the opposite. She dodged a bullet. He reminds her that she said he brings out the best in her. She says he does, but she wants more.

Michael asks if Francesca is looking for something serious. She says she’s looking for uncomplicated and stable; no games, no drama. She can tell pretty quickly if it’s worth her while. She tells him blah-blah-blah about music. He says Mumford & Sons aren’t bad, but she says not to settle for not bad. He should be open to the good stuff.

Jordan puts on the light, and asks Betsy how long she’s been there. Betsy doesn’t say anything, and Jordan leaves to get her water. Curtis says Franco hasn’t heard from her in months. She asks if he knows her boy, and he says they’ve looked everywhere. Drew and Franco are worried. Jordan comes back, and tells her everything will be okay. Curtis asks her to help him wrap his head around something. Has she been there the whole time? Jordan asks if Jim did this, and she nods. Curtis says she needs to tell them why he kept her there.

Chase tells Jim that he’ll investigate the domestic angle, but he wants to hear about Jim’s interaction with Drew and Franco. Jim suggests he look at their interactions with each other. They have bad blood that goes back to their childhood. He briefly dated their mom, and there was always something not right about Franco. He tried to kill Drew, and Betsy had to separate them. She sent Drew to an orphanage, and although the present Drew is a successful businessman, he never got over the abandonment. Maybe he wanted to settle the score, or Franco wanted to finish what he started.

The fireman tells Sam and Elizabeth that even If any part of it is still intact, the subbasement is already buried. Sam says there has to be another way in, but he says it doesn’t look good.

Francesca tells Michael that the band, Heinz, is playing an earthquake benefit. He says he’s never heard of them. Neither have I. She suggests they go, and if it’s not his cup of tea, at least he’ll be helping the earthquake survivor’s fund. He says maybe he could use a distraction from his routine, but he’s not moshing. She says moshing is optional, but crowd surfing is mandatory. He says as long as he’s spending more time with her, he’s in. Nelle listens from around the corner.

Griff asks what Ava means, and she says she has a tendency to want too much; some would say she’s greedy. She tells him to forget it. Griff says he’s greedy for her time, and it seems like forever since the wedding. She says they’re both lucky they weren’t seriously injured. She doesn’t know what she would do if she lost him. He says she doesn’t have to worry about that, and tries to kiss her, but she steps away. He asks what’s the matter? She says, remember the last time they were at the gallery, and she told him that she loved him? She didn’t want him to feel pressured. He says she told him she valued his honesty, and it meant the world to him. Ava says she lied.

Betsy says they can’t let him find her, and Jordan says she’s safe; no one can get to her. Curtis asks if it has anything to do with the natural gas deposits, but Betsy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. She wants to leave and find Franco, and tell him. Curtis asks if she knows Andy grew up to be Andrew Cain. She says she didn’t mean any harm; she was trying to protect him. Jordan asks what it has to do with Franco, but Betsy doesn’t want to tell her; only Bobby and Andy.

Chase asks Jim how old they were when the incident occurred, and Jim says it was when they were kids. Chase asks how old, and he says three or four. Chase asks if he witnessed it, and Jim says they’re looking in the wrong place at the wrong man. He has nothing to do with them, other than having the misfortune of dating their mother years ago. He hopes Chase finds them before they kill each other – if they haven’t already. As he’s leaving the station, Chase tells him not to leave town. Jim asks why would he? He has a lot of cleaning up to do. I can tell Chase isn’t buying it, and when Jim is gone, he calls someone about a petition for a search warrant.

The fireman tells Elizabeth and Sam that the subbasements on level five and six are still intact, but even if the cement hasn’t set, they can’t reach them. It would take weeks to drill through it. It’s physically impossible. Sam says she’ll find another way.

Drew pulls himself out of the water and laughs. He calls to Franco, and helps him out. He tells Franco that he smells like a sewer, and Franco says Drew doesn’t smell so great himself. Franco thanks him, and Drew asks if he can walk. Franco says if there’s a possibility of him getting his hands around Jim’s throat, he’ll run. They leave the pier.

Nelle asks Michael how it’s going. He introduces Nelle, who realizes she’s seen Francesca at GH, saying she’s been in and out of there a lot. Francesca hopes nothing is wrong, but Nelle says, just the opposite. She and the baby are doing fine. She tells Michael that she scheduled their childbirth class for Friday, and hopes it works for him.

Ava tells Griff that she was lying to herself. She does need to be loved. No matter how much cares for all of humanity, she needs him to care a little more about her. He says lately, he’s been spending every waking hour at the hospital. His place was damaged in the earthquake. She asks where he’s sleeping, and he says in the doctors’ lounge, but he’s also been picking up extra hours. She asks why he didn’t tell her; he can stay with her.

On the phone, Chase asks if he needs probable cause, and says he’ll get a statement. The desk sergeant tells him the commissioner is on the other line. Jordan asks if he still has Jim there, but Chase says there wasn’t enough to hold him on; he’s working on a search warrant. Jordan tells him to find and arrest Jim for unlawful imprisonment. She’ll fill him in when she gets back, but there are also other charges pending. Sam and Elizabeth run into the station, and Sam says they need help. Drew and Franco are trapped under where Jim’s crew poured cement, and the fire department can’t help them. Chase starts to say he’ll see if there’s anything he can do, when Drew and Franco walk in. The girls run to them.

Michael and Francesca go down to the docks. Oddly enough, to the same exact spot where Drew and Franco came up for air. Michael tells Francesca that he didn’t know Nelle was pregnant until after they broke up. He says he’d always wanted to be a father, but they’re not together, and never will be. Francesca says, but they live together. He says his grandmother invited Nelle to stay after the damage to her apartment from the earthquake, but there are thirty-seven rooms. Holy! That’s bigger than Grey Gardens. He says they’re at the same address, but they’re not together. Francesca says Nelle wanted her to think they were. He says she has a talent to spinning things. She asks if he didn’t know that until the break-up, and he admits he did, but chose to believe she’d changed. He was going to tell Francesca, but didn’t know the right time. She says it’s tricky. Full disclosure before they even have coffee comes on too strong, but wait too long, and you’re withholding. Michael says he was waiting until the second date. They were in the process, but this sped up the time table. She asks if he still wants to go, and he asks if she does.

At Kelly’s, Nelle sees Michael and Francesca kiss in her mind. She says Michael isn’t someone else’s happily ever after. He’s hers. It’s beyond me why anyone would even be interested in this lackluster dude.

Ava asks Griff, what if the situation was reversed? Would he want her in a sleeping bag under her desk? He tells her that relationship politics are still new to him. It’s like learning another language. He’s trying to tell her to be patient, which she says is a new language for her. She asks him to help her keep her word. Move in with her.

Sam tells Drew from the smell, they must have crawled out through the sewer. Franco says it was a long, strange, putrid trip. Franco is hoping they’re arresting Jim, and Chase says he’ll need statements. Franco tells them about how Jim buried them alive, but they pried open an entrance to a tunnel, and swam out. Everyone is all huggy-kissy.

Francesca tells Michael that she’s looking for something uncomplicated. Michael says he’s trying to uncomplicate his life. but doesn’t know if that’s possible right now. After the baby is born, and Nelle moves out, things will be different. Francesca says, maybe, but she can’t do this right now. He tells her, fair enough. She says, sorry, and he says, him too. She hopes things work out. Before she leaves, she tells him to save her number just in case. The cheese Michael stands alone.

Griff asks Ava if she’s asking him to give up the lumpy couch in exchange for an actual bed. She says, with her, and he tells her he’d love to. Temporarily, until his apartment is repaired. Have we ever seen Griff’s apartment? They kiss, and Nelle comes back in. Ava thought she’d left for the night, and she says she left her computer charger. She tells Ava that she’ll lock up. Ava asks if Griff would like to go home, and he says he likes the way that sounds. They leave, and Nelle takes out the scarf. She says, oh, Michael, so sorry about your mom. Good thing you have me to lean on.

Jordan thinks Betsy should see a doctor, but Betsy says she has to see Franco and Drew. It’s been a lifetime too long. She has to tell them the truth.

Elizabeth says that once Sam saw the freshly poured concrete, she called 911, but they couldn’t get them out. Franco says he bets she thought she was rid of him, and she tells him that he smells like a landfill, but she still loves him. Chase asks why Jim would try to kill them, and Drew says something happened in the past. He doesn’t know what, or how Jim is involved. Elizabeth thinks they should get checked out at the hospital, and Sam agrees, since they just crawled through a sewer. I’ve seen Monsters Inside Me enough times to concur. Chase says he’ll need statements later, but on behalf of the squad room, please go to the hospital.

Drew wants to talk to Franco for a moment. He asks if Franco has the rabbit’s foot. Franco takes it out of his pocket, saying it’s worse for the wear, but here it is. Drew thought it was a little weird at first, but it came in handy, for both of them. He bro pats Franco on the arm.

Tomorrow, Carly wants to talk about Josslyn and Oscar, Finn accuses Julian of being jealous, and Andre says Anna needs to come clean.

The Walking Dead

Negan smiles, Simon squints, Dwight looks like he has a headache. Negan tells Dwight, welcome home, and says it’s good having him back. He needs his top guys out in front acing this sh*t. He heard Dwight had a close call. Dwight tells him that they were ambushed, and makes up an explanation. Negan says his people need to keep their business in order. He tells Dwight to slug a beer, and put on his best clothes. They have work to do.

Negan has his men gut some zombies. He says Hilltop will drop to their knees when they see what he’s packing. Simon says it’s about scaring them. No head shots, just flesh wounds, and if they die, let them turn; don’t kill them. He tells Dwight to ride with him. Dwight says he’s going to scout on his bike, but Simon says they have more expendable scouts for that. Not that Dwight is expendable. Ride with him, and he’ll bring Dwight up to speed on the plan. Dwight gets in the truck

Negan puts the business end of Lucille into a bucket of zombie guts.

Rick cuddles Judith. Daryl approves. Rick visits the graves of those they’ve lost. Daryl thinks about the people who are gone, and the ones still there. It ain’t right or fair. He says he’d just wanted it done at the Sanctuary, and didn’t care who was there. Rick says he didn’t want to risk killing innocent people, and should have just cared about theirs. Daryl says, keep fighting. Rick is going to Hilltop, and Daryl says he’ll go too. Rick thinks they should split up; cover as much ground as they can. He insists he’s okay, and tells Daryl thanks Rick for getting them there.

Maggie wonders if they’ll come back. Rosita says they’ll just keep things going. It will be harder when it’s quiet. Maggie says, not if Negan’s dead; not for her. Rosita says not her either. Maggie looks through binoculars, and sees someone messing with a milk crate near the forest.

Simon asks what Dwight makes of the road trip. He says, let’s rap; let’s get candid; let’s get weird. There’s nobody here but us chickens. Here’s the point where I would jump out of the moving car. In Simon’s analysis, Hilltop will cower and cave when they deliver yet another warning. Dwight says they don’t get paid to think, but Simon values Dwight’s opinion. He’s been on both sides of the iron. Simon has his doubts it will deliver the desired outcome. Dwight asks if Simon thinks they should do something different, but he says, no. They’re going with the big man’s plan. They’ve thrown a lot at Rick’s people, but they keep fighting. He keeps seeing the same answer – they don’t scare. I’m wondering why they would at this point, since they live in a world run by zombies.

Maggie gets a message from the milk crate person, asking for food and phonograph records in exchange for the key to the future. Michonne says they’re not Saviors. Rosita says if it’s a trap, it’s obvious. Maggie tells them that’s what makes it a trap. Michonne asks, what if they’re trying to help? Maggie thinks there are two outcomes; they can miss out or die. Michonne says she’ll go. The last time she took chance, it changed everything. Rick might not agree or understand, but eventually he will. Maggie keeps looking through the binoculars, and decides they’ll go.

Simon and Dwight decide to stick to the plan, and don’t engage. Looking through his binoculars, Rick sees the Saviors coming through. He sees Negan driving by, and gets in his car.

Rick follows Negan, who steps on the gas, and Rick gives chase. Dwight and Simon see, but don’t realize it’s Rick. They follow, and Simon tells the others to stay in their lane; they might have company. He thinks there might be others. He meets the rest of the Saviors, and tells them that someone pushed Negan off the road, but it looks like just one driver; nothing they can’t handle. Just in case, he and Dwight are going to check it out; it might be a ploy to divide them. He made sure no one else could come that way by turning the truck sideways to block the street. He tells the others to do the same on that end, and cut down anything that comes close. He and Dwight are going to locate their benefactor.

Negan’s car is on it’s side, and he opens his eyes to a car full of guts. Rick gets out shooting, and Negan scrambles out of the car. Zombies are coming from everywhere. For the first time ever, Negan looks scared, and runs into the closest building. Rick runs after him, but Negan is waiting, and whacks him with Lucille. Negan jets, and Rick runs after him, shooting. Zombies begin to amble in. Negan runs upstairs, and Rick runs out of bullets. Negan tells him to come on up, and Rick chucks an ax at him. Dodging it, Negan crashes into the railing, which breaks apart, and he falls. He manages to hang on, but as Rick is about to bring down the ax on his hands, he lets go, but doesn’t miss the opportunity to call Rick an a-hole.

Michonne, Maggie, and Enid come to a van turned sideways in the road. Three women stand in front, and the leader, an older blonde woman, introduces herself as Georgie. The other two are her dark-haired protectors, twins Hilda and Midge. Georgie thinks they must be curious to see what they get for food and music. She adds that the records must be music; no spoken word. Because they’re out there, she sees they can take care of themselves. She doesn’t share with the weak.

Rosita pats the women down. Maggie wants them to give what they have, but Georgie says she can’t do it. What she’s bearing is knowledge, which is primarily in her head, and she’d prefer to keep her head where it is. This isn’t a trick; it’s a trade. Maggie asks, why, and Georgie says, what else should she do? Rosita looks in the truck, but Georgie says what’s in there isn’t part of the deal. She asks how many are in the community, and Maggie says not many. Georgie says they have something special. The apocalypse has brought out the best and the worst of people. So far, the worst are out-pacing them, but it won’t last forever, and the good will be worthless without a sustainable future. Enid says there’s no way people survive doing what they’re doing. Georgie says they do, and will. She can divine that they’re a fine group, manners notwithstanding. Maggie says they’re coming back to Hilltop.

Negan whistles, the thing I hate most about him. Rick asks if he’s still alive. Negan says he’s a goddam cat. He looks for Lucille, and a zombie drops down. Rick asks where Negan’s people are; shouldn’t they be here by now? Negan says they’re coming, but Rick says this is where he dies, in the dark, all alone. Negan asks what the hell Rick’s problem is. He thought they were working through sh*t, but Rick is the most stubborn pr*ck he’s ever crossed d*cks with. Was Negan a sailor before the apocalypse? Negan asks Rick to let him save them. He’s good at it. Their kids will grow up safe. They haven’t lost one in the communities he’s taken over. They were doing fine until Rick came along. Rick sees a door with boards nailed across it. One of them says EATERS!

Negan says Rick failed his boy, and failed his people. It makes him sick thinking about it; the wasted potential. He says there’s still hope for Rick though. A onetime deal made in memory of Rick’s badass son, someone he actually respected. If Rick gets his people to fall in line, the arrangement is back in place and all is forgiven. He’ll even lower his take to 25%, but Rick has to work for him doing janitorial work. His people will live like 75% kings. It’s like Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa all rolled into one. Rick says, after what he did to Tardis’s Jadis’s people? Negan is like, huh? and Rick says they killed a whole community of scavengers. A whole community wiped out; is that how he saves people? Negan says, son of a bitch. Rick says it’s times like this when you realize who your true friends are. No one is coming for him.

Rick finds Lucille.

Simon figures Dwight must have thought about clipping Negan himself. Negan took his wife and burned his face. Dwight says, no, not once. Simon is impressed, saying Dwight chose to survive instead of focusing on his own discomforts. Dwight says he did what he had too. Simon tells him their leader isn’t doing the same. If it was his call, he’d branch out, find new places, and make new relationships. He’d make sure the Saviors survive and move on from past discomforts (his word of the day), as Dwight chose to. What does he say? Dwight says, move on.

They see Negan’s car, but no Negan. Simon thinks he could be anywhere; alive, dead, or somewhere in between. They could face a distasteful moment, or walk away, get back to their people, and make things better. This is a critical point in history. Something to tell their grandkids about. Dwight lights a cigarette, which is what we’d all do at this point. He takes a drag, then flicks it at the car, which bursts into flames. Simon tells him, good answer.

Maggie tells Jerry that it will be dark soon, and to get ready. He knows what to do. Michonne says she should make a deal with Georgie, or let them go before the Saviors get there. Maggie says she can’t let them go. She has mouths to feed, and they have crates of food. Let me just stop here and say, excuse me? Is she suggesting they do basically what the Saviors do? Enid says Maggie is right. If they don’t take it, someone else will, and kill them. It’s a miracle they’re still alive. The Saviors are on their way, and they’re going to fight. Why give a sh*t about people who don’t give a sh*t? They need to stop pretending things just work out; they don’t. Michonne says Carl rescued Siddiq. Now they have a doctor and a friend. She says Carl was brave, and Enid says, now he’s dead. Michonne tells Enid to step back, and Enid wisely leaves without arguing. Maggie tells Michonne things just don’t work out, and Michonne says, no, they don’t. Carl knew that, but didn’t give up on what Rick wanted him to be, and they can’t either.

Rick tells Negan he can’t save him, his people, or anyone, because he doesn’t care about people. He uses them. The only thing he cares about is his bat, and he can’t even save that. He’ll make a deal with Negan. He can kill her goodbye. Negan says, don’t touch her, and Rick sets Lucille on fire. He tells Negan to come get her. He starts battering the boards across the door. Negan rushes him, and they both fall into the room.

Zombies grab at them. Rick tries to whack Negan, and sets a couple of zombies on fire. Negan calls him, a goddam psychopath, saying he’ll get them both killed. Rick says as long as he goes first. Negan shoves him, and they tussle. Negan gets Lucille back. Rick punches out some zombies, and Negan climbs out a window. Rick follows.

Negan comes out to the parking lot, and is like, dude, where’s my car?

Michonne brings out records. Georgie says she’s changing the terms. They can have a sizeable portion of the food. They need it more. Maggie wonders in exchange for what? Georgie says, records and good faith. It’s not a gift; it’s a barter. She’ll be back. Maybe not for a while, but she expects great things. She takes out a thick manuscript, with the title, A Key to the Future. She tells Maggie there are handwritten plans for windmills, irrigation, and such; a book of medieval human achievement. They can have a future from the past. The originals are in her head, but she made a few photocopies. Maggie thanks her. Georgie tells her to build the place up. She wants a crate filled when she comes back. Maggie says she’ll see what can do. Georgie and her friends leave. I swear, I saw the same guy walk behind Maggie in the exact same way twice during that conversation.

Enid tells Michonne that she killed Netanya. I’m hoping Enid feels like a big jerk right about now. She says Netanya was out there, killing whoever she came across, so she killed her. She killed someone, and is alive; Carl saved someone, and he’s dead. How are they supposed to do this? Stop fighting? Michonne doesn’t think Carl wanted them to stop fighting. He’d want them to fight for the future, but to get to the future, they have to do more than fighting. The Saviors are coming. They’re going to fight them, but they have to be something after.

The Saviors stand around picking their noses. Dwight and Simon return the group. One of the Saviors asks where Negan is, and Simon tells him that they couldn’t find him. Dwight says he wasn’t in his car, just blood. The Savior asks, what’s next? and Simon asks who he is. He says, Negan. Simon tells them that they’re all Negan. It doesn’t matter if he’s not there. They’re still Negan. They don’t know if he’s gone; he could be back, but their plan is Negan’s plan. They go to Hilltop, and put the fear of God in them until they get with the program. After what they just did, it’s beyond time for them to accept it, but once they do, it will become crystal clear. They have one thing left to do. They must expunge them; redact them. They’re a mistake that shall now be erased. They’re moving on. He sounds like Negan. Dwight ponders heavily about Negan.

Negan sleeps in a car, while someone else drives. It’s Xanax Jadis, who has a gun on him with her free hand. He opens his eyes, and laughs. He says, well, sh*t. She tells him to shut up, and whacks him in the head with the butt of the gun.

Next time, Maggie says, here we go.

😱 Next week, March 25th, Talking Dead will be on an hour later. Following Walking Dead, AMC will be showing a sneak preview of their new series, The Terror, which premieres on Monday, March 26th. Based on a true story, The Terror is about a Royal Naval expedition searching for the Arctic’s treacherous Northwest Passage. Instead, they discover a monstrous predator. From what I’ve seen, it looks freaky good, and I’m definitely giving it a look.

March 15, 2018 – Franco & Drew Are Trapped, Butcher’s Block Concludes & Friday Fun

General Hospital

Kim tells Elizabeth that Oscar wants to thank Franco personally for helping save his father. She’s sorry the earth swallowed up Elizabeth’s wedding day, and asks if there’s a new date.

Sam calls Drew, but gets voicemail. She’s getting worried. Alexis comes into the office with an update on Molly, but wonders what Sam is doing in Drew’s office. Sam says she hasn’t heard from him since yesterday.

Drew opens his eyes. He and Franco are lying on a concrete floor in a basement. He tells Franco to get up, but Franco is out cold.

Curtis says Ned is the mayor, a man of action; he digs it. Ned says Jim burned them; how can they burn him back? Curtis says he messed with the quality of life on Charles Street, and Ned says he was drilling for gas with no permit. Jordan says she’ll jump on the smallest mistake he makes. Ned tells them that Jim played on his political ambitions. It’s time to turn the tables, and use his biggest weakness against him – his greed.

Jim tells someone on the phone that it doesn’t make sense, but he’s in the middle of another crisis, so they’ll talk later. One of his thugs knocks on the door, and says Franco and Drew are safe and sound in a quiet place. Jim says this isn’t good. He’s not a thug; he’s a businessman. Geez, you could have fooled me. He’s pretty much been all thug since he came to town. He asks why “Bobby and Andy” couldn’t leave past where it belongs.

Elizabeth says the wedding is on hold for the moment. Kim asks if she wants to talk, and Elizabeth says Franco kept something important from her. He’s done it before, and she’s forgiven him, but he promised to be honest. Kim says she’s the last person to be giving relationship advice, but people have secrets. We keep things from each other to protect them or protect ourselves. She kept Oscar from his father. Elizabeth says it was something significant about Franco’s past, and it had everything to do with Drew. She asks if Drew ever talked about his childhood. Kim says Drew asked same thing, but she didn’t know much. They talked about almost anything except that.

Sam tells Alexis that when she and Drew were on their way out of the hospital, Jim found them. Alexis asks what that Neanderthal wanted. Sam says he claims to have known Franco and Drew when they were small, calling them Bobby and Andy. He told them Betsy sent Drew to an orphanage because Franco tried to kill him. Alexis says children of that age don’t have the sensoria to be legally culpable. Sam tells her that Franco pushed Drew down the stairs and the last she heard from him, Drew was going to confront Franco, but she doesn’t know where he was headed.

Drew touches Franco, and Franco jumps up. He tells Drew his head hurts, and asks where they are. Something tells him they’re not in Jim’s hotel room. Drew says after the thugs showed up, it’s a blur. Franco says this is what it feels like to be knocked out, and Drew says this is what it feels like to be tased. Franco says them together, where he’s guessing there’s no way out. Maybe they’re dead and it’s hell.

At the MetroCourt, Lulu tells Dante that she and Maxie were best friends. If the damage is ever going to be repaired, she’ll have to take the first step. Dante thinks it’s a bad idea, and the first step is to wait. Since she’s really stupid and pushy, Lulu says she can’t; the friendship means too much. Apparently, her feelings alone define the relationship.

At one of the tables, Maxie tells Peter all she can think about are the test results. Lulu comes to the table, and says they need to talk. Peter doesn’t think it’s the time or place, and Dante says, let’s go, but Maxie says, no. Lulu is right. They need to talk.

Jim’s thug reassures him that Franco and Drew can’t get out, and asks what he’s going to do. Jim isn’t sure, and says he’ll figure it out. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Ned, and Jim tells his thug, good work, and to keep him apprised. The thug leaves, and Ned thanks Jim for the donation; the city owes him. Jim says Port Charles has been good to him, but this can’t be a social visit. Ned says it isn’t. Jim has done so much for Port Charles; he’s there to discuss what he can do for Jim.

Elizabeth doesn’t want to give Kim the specifics of what Franco’s secret was, and feels badly dumping on her, and then not sharing. Kim says she’ll always care about Drew, but he can take care of himself. Epiphany comes by, and asks where Franco is. He blew off his clients, with no heads up or explanation. He can’t leave patients hanging because he’s in a mood. Elizabeth says that’s not like him; there must be a good reason. Epiphany says to tell him that Dr. Quartermaine is going to hear about it. Elizabeth tells Kim that she told him not to come home, after he’d said she makes him better and he’s lost without her. She has to find him.

Sam says the last time Drew checked in, he was dealing with Franco and hung up. Alexis asks how worried she is, and Sam says, how worried do you think? Her calls are going to voicemail, and he’s not getting her texts. She’s probably overreacting, but if it was Jason she wouldn’t worry. It’s normal for him. She’s been thinking a lot about Jason and Drew. She hasn’t been honest with either them or herself.

Franco yells for help, and then says of all people, he should know better that they’re in a soundproof room. It’s in Kidnapping for Dummies. Drew’s guess is that it’s a building that’s going to be demolished for reconstruction. Franco thinks that’s a good bet. He says it’s so weird that the first time they agree, it’s something like this. Drew says any workers they find, work for the man who put them there. They might try to finish them off.

Peter asks if Maxie is sure, and she says she is. He tells her, good luck, and gets up. Dante tells Peter that they should have a chat as well. Peter asks if it’s a police matter, and he says, yes. They step away. Lulu wants Maxie to know she’s done a lot of soul searching since the funeral, about her choice to lay a trap for that monster. Maxie says, it worked, and Lulu says, at a terrible cost. Maxie says Lulu was just doing her job, writing sensational stories, no matter who gets hurt. Lulu says she told Peter that she was ready to walk away, but he talked her out of it. Maxie says she never intended to walk away; it was a gesture to ease her conscience. She’s immune to rules and consequences, and nothing is ever her fault. Lulu wants to make it right. She misses Maxie. Maxie says she misses Nathan. He’s not there to help her, or tell her what to do about the baby. Lulu asks if something is wrong, and Maxie says the baby might have inherited a fatal disease from Faison.

Jordan looks at a map, telling Curtis that each pin represents the loss of a home or business, all because of that SOB Jim. It will take years to rebuild and recover. Curtis knows it’s frustrating, but she’s the police commissioner, who brings bad guys to justice, like the man who caused this devastation. She asks if Curtis is actually trusting the legal system, and he says he trusts her. This isn’t just another case. TJ could have been killed, Molly almost was, and his auntie was put in harm’s way. Someone needs to pay. Jordan says, someone will.

Ned tells Jim that he wouldn’t be mayor if not for his support, but Jim says the people voted him in. Anything he did to help was his pleasure. Ned says he’s in a position to return the favor. Jim had plans to keep the city’s original character, while building new housing and boosting the economy. Now it’s all lost in the rubble. Jim says it’s not his first rodeo. When you dream big, you have to take big risks, and sometimes they don’t pay off. Ned says he’s awfully cool about it, and Jim says, never let them see you sweat. Ned tells him that he can’t leave Jim holding a title to worthless property, but he can buy back all of the Niagara properties at a price that’s more than fair. He writes a figure on a paper, hands it to Jim, and asks if they have a deal. Jim says, sorry, and Ned laughs, saying it’s more than generous. Why not take it? Jim says he knows why.

Sam tells Alexis that she and Jason were at the Quartermaines when the earthquake hit. They took Jason’s bike to find Drew, and ended up at a construction site trailer. Alexis asks if she slept with him, and Sam says, no; they almost died. Alexis reminds her that she’s the mother of two children, and this only happens when she’s with Jason. Sam says they managed to get out before the explosion, and Alexis says, of course. Sam says she had to tell Jason the truth. She loves him and always will.

Drew tells Franco they didn’t take everything, and hands him a candy bar. Franco says Jim is lying about what happened when they were kids. Drew says they can put that on their tombstones, and Franco admires his relentless optimism. Drew says they wouldn’t be in this mess if he’d stuck to the plan. Why didn’t he leave? Franco says Jim kept talking to him. Drew knows; he was listening. The guy is a jerk, but didn’t say anything to make him freeze. When he got there, Franco was curled in a ball. What happened?

Dante tells Peter that he gave him a pass at Nathan’s funeral. He didn’t want to add to the pain. He says Peter pressured Lulu because he saw dollar signs. He didn’t care who he put in harm’s way. Peter says he almost got shot. Dante says Nathan did, and Peter got a headline. Peter says it was Nathan’s decision, and asks if Dante doesn’t think his wife is capable of making up her own mind. Well…

Maxie tells Lulu that Faison had Huntington’s disease. It explains a lot. At worst, it affects the motor control and brain function, and is inevitably fatal. It might have been passed on, and she’s waiting for the test results. Lulu asks what the chances are, and Maxie says there was a 50% chance of Nathan having it. If he did, there’s a 50% chance of the baby having it. Lulu says that’s not going to happen, and Maxie asks, why? Because she doesn’t want it and she said so? Either it happens or not, and if it does, there’s nothing she can do, except wait for the symptoms to show up. She asks, what are years to parents? You blink, and they go from diapers to the prom. There’s nothing she can do. Lulu says she can love the baby and teach it about Nathan. Maxie tells her, don’t you dare. She doesn’t get to bury Maxie’s husband, walk over his grave, and pretend like they’re besties again. Lulu starts to say she thought – and Maxie says, thought what? She had to bury her husband, and Nathan’s not here. The baby might be sick, and he’s not there to help her through it because of Lulu.

Jim tells Ned he’s a man of his word; when he starts something, he finishes it. Ned says no one is going to build a high-rise on a fault, but Jim points out San Francisco is on the San Andreas. Ned says they know what they’re dealing with. This came out of nowhere; it went from stable to unpredictable, and cost Jim millions. Jim says, you know what they say; one man’s disaster is another’s blessing. Ned asks if that’s really what they say, and Jim tells him, there’s another saying, cut the crap. Jim says Ned knows there’s a huge deposit of natural gas under the city. What kind of businessman would he be if he sold the land back? Ned says it wasn’t just discovered. Jim used him because he needed the Quartermaine stamp of approval. Jim says, and he got elected. Ned says Jim leaked the article, and Jim tells him that they both win. Ned got what he wanted, and Jim is sitting on a fortune. He tells Ned that he’s the mayor. Stop crying foul, and have a cigar; he earned it.

Elizabeth tells Kim that she keeps getting Franco’s voicemail. Kim asks if she knows where he’s staying, and she says she called Kiki, but she hasn’t seen him. His studio is on Charles Street, but she doesn’t know what condition it’s in. She’s getting worried. Kim says maybe he’s not missing, and just keeping his distance like she asked. Elizabeth says that’s not like Franco.

Alexis asks Sam what happened to not acting on her feelings? Sam say she doesn’t want to live life not telling the truth. She’s in love with both of them. She tried to shut her feelings off with Jason, but couldn’t do it, and can’t think of cutting off Drew. She has to be honest. She’s already told Jason, and now Alexis, and needs to tell Drew. Alexis wonders how he’ll react, but Sam doesn’t know. She says it’s up to him to decide. She doesn’t get to decide how he reacts, and has no idea. All she knows is that she has to be honest. Alexis thinks she should take more time, but Sam says she has to go. Alexis asks where, and she says to get answers.

Franco starts to shut down, and Drew says he’s doing it again. He thinks he knows PTSD when he sees it, and tells Franco he’s in the safest place. Tell him what Jim did. Franco flashes back to Jim calling him a liar and saying no one will believe him. He tells Drew he can’t talk about it.

Lulu tells Maxie that they’ll face it together. Maxie asks if she’s serious, and wants to use the baby to ease her conscience. Maxie tells her that for every tear she’s shed, she prays Lulu sheds an ocean full. For every sleepless night, she hopes Lulu never gets another night’s rest. She tells Lulu to stay away from her and her child. Peter and Dante return, and Peter tells Maxie not to stress for the baby’s sake. Alexis wanders over, and Maxie says her timing is perfect. She wants to file a restraining order on Lulu.

Curtis tells Jordan if Ned thinks he’s going to take down the man who played him like a harmonica, he’s dreaming. Jordan says she’s not counting on Ned. She’s counting on someone willing to take a risk, and willing to bend the law just enough not to break it. Curtis says someone with a vested interest in the evictions and harassment, who knows that the earthquake was used as a get-rich-quick scheme? She says, something like that. He thinks he knows the man.

Kim has to go back to work, and tells Elizabeth if she needs a friend, she’s there. Sam comes barreling in, and asks Elizabeth, where the hell is Franco?

Franco bangs on the door. Drew says it’s reinforced steel, and tells him to get a grip. He puts his hand on Franco’s arm, and Franco says if Drew touches him again… Drew asks what he’s going to do, calling him Bobby. He asks if Franco is going to try to kill him again.

Dante tells Alexis there’s no need; it’s a personal matter. Maxie suggests they keep it that way. Alexis is sorry about what’s going on, and hopes it works out. Lulu says she’s going back to work, or this is all for nothing. Peter asks if Maxie wants the day off, but she thinks diving into work is good for her. Her phone rings. It’s Kim, who just got word. The amnio results are in.

Curtis tells Jordan that he’s going to bring down Jim. She asks him to wait, and he wonders if she’s going to deputize him. She kisses him, and says now he’s deputized. Go be brilliant.

Ned cracks the cigar in half. He tells Jim that he’s going to the commissioner and blowing him out of the water. Jim says, be his guest. He’ll tells them that Ned always knew. They’ll never believe a savvy businessman got into bed with Niagara and didn’t know. Ned says he’ll take his chances. Jim says, do that, or do his job. The city stands to make a fortune in tax revenue. Show his responsibility to Port Charles. Ned reminds him about Charles Street, and Jim says they’ll find somewhere else to live. Ned says that most of them can’t afford it. Jim suggests he start a foundation to help them make the transition or they can move out of the city. Ned stomps out the door. Jim says how it turns out now, is up to him. He’s gone to far to stop now, and no one is getting in his way.

Elizabeth asks Sam why she’s so anxious. Sam says Drew is missing, and she thinks Franco knows something.

Franco says Drew trusted him at some point. He gave him the rabbit’s foot for Christmas, saying Franco was the best friend he ever had. He says it didn’t happen the way Jim is laying it out. He put them there to cover up what happened, and they’re stuck. He hands Drew the rabbit’s foot, and Drew asks why give it to him? Franco says he needs all the luck he can get.

Tomorrow, Peter’s test results are back, Sam threatens to take Franco out herself, and Mike asks Sonny if he’s supposed to sign his life away.

😱 Zero Time

There seems to be a bit of a lull in TV viewing this week. I haven’t seen any of this season of Once Upon a Time yet, but I did catch up with Channel Zero: Butcher’s Block, which had its finale this week. I hate that the seasons are so short with this show, even if I barely grasp what’s going on in it. Although anything is less opaque than the monster made of teeth on the first season, Channel Zero: Candle Cove. What was that thing about? Fear of dentistry?

This time around, the story centered around two sisters, a town full of disappearances, and the Peach family. The Peaches once owned much of the town, including Peach’s Meats, a meat processing plant that still looms over the center of the city. Like in Motel Hell where it takes all kinds of critters make Farmer Vincent’s fritters, there’s more to the meat than meets (ha-ha) the eye. Sisters Alice and Zoe (Olivia Luccardi and Holland Roden), move to the town for a fresh start. Zoe is schizophrenic and on medication, Alice is on the verge, or at least afraid of it, since their mother was also mentally ill. Landlady Louise (Krisha Fairchild), whose hobby is taxidermy, is trying to uncover the mystery of the missing Peach family and disappearances of locals over the years, one of whom is her brother. The Peaches vanished after their two daughters were murdered and something – probably a human sacrifice – was found in their basement. Afterwards, locals started to disappear. The sisters and Louise discover that the Peaches aren’t gone, but have merely changed energy and are still among us. Meanwhile, the sheriff’s son, Luke (Brandon Scott), has his hands full with an escaping Peach who is wreaking havoc on the town by eating some of its residents. Along with that, there is door to nowhere, a weird baby man called Smart Mouth, people in weird baby masks (which is even worse), and dinners consisting of kidney parfait with an ear wafer garnish. There is also a red door, but not the spa kind. Among it all is Rutger Hauer as Joseph Peach, patriarch and head cannibal/sacrifice leader. Rutger is a catch for any production, having played the best of the good guys (Ladyhawke) and the worst of the bad guys (The Hitcher). No surprise, he did not disappoint as the somewhat in-between Joseph, and in a way, got the last word. A lot of it was a strange foray into the human psyche, and all of it was a wild, gory ride. The three existing seasons of Channel Zero can be found On Demand.

General Hospital

At the hospital, Curtis tells someone on the phone that he’ll be handling the investigation from here on out. Jordan comes to visit, and wonders who he was talking to. He asks if she’s there to bug him about phone calls or give him good news. Is he out? She says he’s being released from the hospital, but he’s still in police custody.

Finn calls Alexis, who tells him Molly is improving, and TJ hasn’t left her side. She asks if he’s still at the hospital, but he left the ER an hour ago. She asks if he needs a sponsor, but he says, no. He needs a lawyer.

Josslyn visits Oscar, and gives him a soda. She asks how he’s feeling, and he tells her the same as before she got the drinks. She talks about how pale he was, and she wasn’t sure he was breathing when the cop dragged her out. He laughs, but she says she was afraid he was dying. She’s never been so scared.

Michael asks new nurse Francesca where Oscar’s room is.

Olivia finds Leo with Nelle. Nelle says she heard him fussing and brought him downstairs. She thought Olivia could use the rest after helping with the displaced people. Olivia remembers that Nelle is good at anticipating people’s needs. Nelle calls Leo smart and adorable, and Olivia says he gets that from her. Nelle admits to finishing a casserole that was in the refrigerator. Olivia has no problem with that, but says if Cook 2 finds out she was in the kitchen, she’ll be evicted before she unpacks. Carly is suddenly there, and is startled that Nelle is living at the mansion. I think Monica would be startled that Carly just walks into her house uninvited. Olivia tells Carly that Monica generously offered Nelle a place to stay. Now she’s part of the household.

Jordan tells Curtis that they’ll find a sympathetic judge who can decide on his bail. He says they just went through a not-so-natural disaster, and asks how everyone is. Jordan tells him that everyone is fine, and Stella is helping to find temporary housing for the victims. Jordan was hoping Jim would drop the charges, but he hasn’t. She says he did offer his resources to help, so there’s that. Curtis says he’s trying to make himself look good. Jordan knows he’s corrupt, but needs concrete evidence. She hasn’t heard back from the geologist yet. They kiss, and she asks how his leg is. He says better, now that he’s holding her. It will be 200% better when he gets Jim. Jordan says, we, after he makes bail.

Elizabeth asks if Franco pushed Drew down the stairs, and he says that’s what his mother implied. He went to see her last fall to find out why Drew was put in an orphanage. She told him he’d fallen down the stairs, and she wanted to separate them. She didn’t say it straight out, but implied he’d pushed Drew, but Jim did straight out say he pushed Drew and that he laughed. Elizabeth wonders if it had anything to do with the tumor, but Franco says Doc told him it wasn’t a factor. Franco was afraid if the was capable of doing something that terrible, it meant he’s not a very good person. He loves her and the boys, but he’s also terrified and confused. It’s exhausting policing and questioning himself, but now he knows something for sure. One thing is perfectly clear. Jim is a liar.

Alexis arrives at Charlie’s. Julian remarks that Finn called her, and Alexis says she just walked in. She wonders how he’s still doing business, when everything is in shambles around him, and he says they don’t build them like they used to. There’s definitely something to that. I live in a 100+ year old house, that was flooded during Hurricane Sandy, and we didn’t even need the floors replaced. She goes to confer with her client. Finn says her ex-boyfriend tried to throw him out. She asks why, and he brings out Roxie. I go, aww!

Oscar asks if Josslyn found the cop to apologize. She didn’t, and feels kind of bad, but she had to focus on Oscar. She knows the cop did the right thing, but in her heart, she felt like it was wrong. She says never has she ever followed her heart instead of her head, and takes a drink. Oscar says, never has he ever been in an earthquake with someone he loves. They both drink. Michael stops in, saying he’s checking on the hero who saved his sister. Oscar tells him to try the idiot who thought it was cool to hide out in the freezer. At the time, he thought it was romantic. Michael suggest the storeroom next time. Josslyn asks if he’s there to check on Oscar, or see Nelle.

Nelle asks if she can get Carly something. Carly wants to know how it happened that Nelle is living there. Olivia says her apartment was damaged in the earthquake, and Monica generously offered. Carly wonders what Michael said, and Nelle tells her that he’s relieved she and the baby are fine. She asks if it isn’t wonderful. The baby will grow up surrounded with love, and its parents under the same roof. Out of something tragic, came something wonderful.

At the station, Chase says Jim is on his way over. He assumed Jim is following up on the charges with Curtis. He asks if she wants him to take Curtis downstairs for holding. Jordan says he works in tandem with the PCPD, but Chase says he’s still under arrest.

Alexis asks Finn if he needs emotional support after the earthquake, but he tells her it’s Roxie that needs the support. He found her cowering in the corner of his room. Alexis says there was no damage at the MetroCourt, but he says she still felt it. He’s not leaving her there after what she’s done for him. She asks why bring her to Charlie’s, and he says the MetroCourt has a limited menu to begin with, and they just fed half the town; their supplies are low. He never thought her ex would kick her out. She tells Julian he must know there are laws covering emotional support animals, but he says there’s no law that says he has to let a reptile into the restaurant.

Michael tells Josslyn that Nelle was released last night. Her apartment was damaged, and she couldn’t go back, so she’s staying at the Quartermaine’s. Josslyn says, with him, and he says, no. It was his grandmother’s idea. She says it’s still great, but he tells her that she has it wrong. Obviously, he was worried; she’s carrying his child, but they didn’t have a romantic reconciliation.

Nelle tells Carly that Michael isn’t there. Carly says she’ll text him later. She sees Nelle has recovered, and Nelle says they kept her overnight to monitor her, but luckily, there were no complications. Since Monica is a doctor, all her bases are covered. Olivia says they’re delighted to have her in the house.

Franco says his memory isn’t clear, but one thing he knows for certain is that Jim’s version is a lie. Elizabeth says she knew something happened; she’s known since last fall. He tells her that ever since he saw the picture of him and Drew, he’s been obsessed. When his mother told him, his mind went to the worst case. He ran into Drew on the stairs in the hospital before the wedding, and something shifted; something in his subconscious dislodged. He remembered Drew being pushed, and remembered Jim being there, so he went to confront him. Jim told him he pushed Drew and was proud, but it didn’t make sense. He told Jim he was lying, when the earthquake happened, and Jim left him for dead to cover his tracks. Elizabeth says when Jim confirmed his fear, he decided to lie. He says he was trying to tell her everything, and she has to believe him.

Josslyn tells Michael that Nelle cares about him. She’s trying to be a good person, and Josslyn likes her, so does Oscar. She looks at Oscar for confirmation, but he’s asleep. Michael suggests they let him rest, and asks if Josslyn wants to go to lunch. She tells him changing the subject won’t work. Why not try again? He laughs, and asks her if she knows who she sounds like. She says, don’t say “mom.”

Olivia asks Nelle to take Leo for a snack. He has special dispensation to be in the kitchen. Carly wonders if she entered the twilight zone. Olivia says it’s not her idea, but she can’t make a stink, and suggests Carly tread lightly. Carly says Nelle has managed to ingratiate herself with Monica. Olivia says Monica adores Michael, and has never forgiven Carly for making him a Corinthos. She’s going to make sure her grandchild is a Quartermaine. Carly tells Olivia not to ever turn her back.

Alexis looks up the laws for emotional support animals on her tablet. Julian says he’s already familiar with them. Service dogs and mini horses are allowed, but not reptiles, so Finn and his lizard have to go. Finn says Roxie is a bearded dragon, and it’s not about Roxie. Julian doesn’t want him in there. One guess as to why.

Jordan says she’ll bring Chase up to speed, and tells him that Curtis has been working with the PCPD to investigate the cause of the earthquake. Chase says, shifting tectonic plates, and Curtis says that’s debatable. They believe illegal drilling might be the cause. He’s not saying it’s intentional, but drilling caused the quake. Jim walks in, and says now justice can prevail.

Elizabeth doesn’t know what to think or say. Jim never said anything when she treated him. Franco says Jim left him under a cabinet, and raced off to tell Sam and Drew. Drew believes him, and knows Jim is a liar. Elizabeth starts to say something about Sam, but Franco interrupts, saying, who cares about her? Elizabeth is the person he cares about most; the only thing he cares about is what she’s thinking. She thinks he had a brain tumor; that’s a medical fact. When it was removed, he was free to choose between right and wrong. She believes he sincerely wants to be a good person. He’s glad to hear her say that, and asks if they’re good. She says, no, not at all.

Finn says Julian doesn’t have a problem when he’s there with Alexis. Julian says he has a problem with Finn’s lizard. Finn says he’ll bring legal action, and Julian says he’ll counter-sue for him posing a heath risk. Alexis says Julian is within his rights according to the law. Finn says Julian’s cook is a health risk. Julian says he’ll take Roxie out himself, and starts to reach for the cage. Finn punches him, and says, don’t ever touch her.

Jordan tells Jim if he’s there for the arraignment, the courts are backed up, so he’s out of luck. Jim says it’s wrong to trespass and take photos of proprietary information. Regardless, his project is scrapped now, and it’s a total loss, so he thought it was only fair to drop the charges.

Franco says Elizabeth just told him she believed him. She says he discovered the picture months ago, and talked to his mother last fall. She knew something was up, and she kept asking, but he lied. He just tells half-truths. After he confessed to knowing about Jason and Drew, he said he’d never do it again, but he’s already doing it. Why can’t he just be honest with her? He says he wanted to find out everything first. She says Scotty knew, and Franco says Scotty is his father and lawyer. He needed a sounding board. Elizabeth says he promised to share his life with her, but without sharing the truth, she’s afraid she’ll have to cut him out of her life. He’s right.

Josslyn says she and her mother have opposing opinions, but Michael says they have the same approach. Josslyn asks if having a baby counts for something, and Michael says it does. He’s going to be the best father he can be, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be together. Josslyn tells Michael to give Nelle a chance, but he says he’s given her so many already. It didn’t work. Josslyn knows the weirdness with Sonny was wrong. Michael gets that she likes Nelle, but she needs to be careful. Nelle has pulled stunts before, and he realized she can’t be trusted. He’s not getting into specifics, and not pressuring her to end the friendship, but just watch herself.

Olivia tells Carly that Nelle does have a knack with kids. Carly says she latches on to a child, then uses them as leverage. Olivia says she won’t let her use Leo, and Carly tells her to keep her guard up. Nelle is there every time you turn around. She manufactures situations, and then jumps in to help. She wants to be adored and sabotages it at the same time, punishing people for the happiness she’ll never have. Olivia says it’s disturbing, and Carly says that’s not the worst of it. She was implicated in the death of her fiancé. No matter how guarded Michael is, she’ll be a part of his life for a long time, and it worries her. Nelle hears everything.

Nelle tells Olivia that the nanny is back, and Olivia thanks her for taking care of Leo. She says in the future, just wake her up, but Nelle says she’s happy to help. She asks Carly if she’s going to tell Michael that she checked on her, and Carly says, absolutely. Carly says she’s happy her grandchild will be surrounded by love and family. Olivia tells them she’s going to check on the relief efforts, and tells Nelle to rest. She and Carly leave. Nelle tells the baby that she needs to step it up. Carly almost had a chance to redeem herself, but she blew it.

Francesca asks Michael where Josslyn went, and he says she went to get candy. He introduces himself, and they make googly eyes at each other.

Nelle looks up Morgan’s social media page.

Alexis tells Julian not to be absurd and escalate things. He says Finn punched him, and it’s a crime. She says he was fighting for Roxie, and Julian says he just wants to run his restaurant while her boyfriend wants to take it to the Supreme Court. She says as his lawyer, she advised him that Julian is in the right. She says she knows he loves Roxie, but he has no right to bring her, and she’s fairly certain he knew that. Chase comes in. He sees Finn, and says, Hamilton? Finn says, Harrison? Alexis asks if they know each other and Finn says Chase is his brother.

Jordan gives Jim a non-prosecution document to sign. She assumes he’s leaving town, but he says he’s sticking around to help rebuild. Curtis steps away to take a call. Jordan says Jim is being generous for someone who just sustained such significant losses. He says he just wants to help, and leaves. Curtis thanks Professor Stone, and hangs up. Jordan asks if he hijacked her geological professor. He asks if she wants to lock him up again or find out why Jim can afford to be so generous. He has the answer.

Franco says, just like that, they’re done? Elizabeth asks him if he thought he was capable of doing something bad, why did he move in with her? He says he’d never hurt them. He panicked. He was cowardly and selfish. She’s everything to him. He asks her to please forgive him, but she says she needs to be alone to make some decisions. He tries to take her hand, and she pulls back. He says okay, what decisions is she talking about, and she says she needs to figure out if any part of what they had is real or just pretend. He showed her what he wanted her to see. She wonders who he really is, how he feels, and what drives him? He says he loves her, and would never do anything to hurt her or her boys. He would lay down his life for her. All she knows for sure, is that he did disturbing and violent things When the tumor was removed, he said he was different, and she could trust him, but he lied time and again. How different can he be, and how much can she trust him?

Finn thought Chase was in Florida, but he explains how he ended up in Port Charles. Julian asks if it’s an arrest or a family reunion. Chase gives Finn his rights and cuffs him.

Jordan says Jim just lost a fortune, and nobody is that generous. Curtis says they are when they can afford it. He’s a billionaire, sitting on a goldmine – natural gas. I’m not so sure it works that way, but okay.

Franco begs Elizabeth not to go. He needs her. Before they met, he knows he wasn’t a good guy, but being with her makes him feel good. She makes him better. Elizabeth says that’s not her job. She tells him not to call or come home. Just leave her alone. What’s he supposed to wear?

Josslyn tells Oscar that she doesn’t care what Michael says; living in the same house brings people closer. Oscar says, not to be dramatic, but he is in the hospital recovering from a near-death experience. Josslyn takes that as he wants her to focus on him. He asks if that would be so bad, and she says, not at all. She gets into the bed next to him. She hopes this feeling never goes away. Oscar says, him too.

Carly sees Michael at the hospital. He says sorry, he forgot to text her. Nelle living at the Quartermaines’ wasn’t his idea. He’s not happy about it, but there’s nothing he can do. Francesca gives him her number in case he wants to text. Carly asks who’s that, and Michael wisely says, bye, and leaves.

Nelle prints out a picture of Morgan, and orders a scarf like he’s wearing.

Tomorrow, Curtis is going to bring Jim down, Valentin asks what happened between Nina and Peter, and Franco and Drew set out to find the truth.

The Haves and the Have Nots

Justin walks into the interrogation room while Wyatt is hugging Jeffrey. Justin doesn’t want Jeffrey to see Wyatt, but Jeffrey says, too bad. He wants to see him. He tells Justin his dad is outside, and the cameras are working. Justin says there happened to be a short while he was in there. Jeffrey tells him to stop it; he’s not dealing with this. Justin says Jeffrey is going to deal with him, and Jeffrey says he doesn’t get it. Justin says he told him to stay away from Wyatt. Wyatt says they’re friends, and tells Jeffrey that this guy is crazy. Jeffrey tells Justin leave. Justin says Wyatt told him that he’s Jeffrey’s lover. Wyatt says that Justin came to his house. Jeffrey asks why, and Justin says Jeffrey wouldn’t see him. Wyatt says he’ll get Jeffrey’s dad, but Jeffrey says Justin was just leaving. Instead, Justin sits down.

Justin asks Jeffrey why he’s doing this to him; he’s torturing him. Jeffrey says he isn’t, and Justin says he’s with this guy, indicating Wyatt. Wyatt asks if he’s really listening to this, and leaves. Jeffrey says Justin got his wish, and Justin sarcastically says he’s so happy. He walks in there, and sees Jeffrey with Wyatt. He’s kicked Wyatt’s ass, threatened him, and tried being nice; what does it take to make him realize that Justin is serious? He’s in love with Jeffrey and can’t stop. He’s lost everything, and Jeffrey can’t leave him for Wyatt. Jeffrey insists he’s not with Wyatt, and Justin asks why he was hugging him. Jeffrey says he’s told him over and over that Wyatt is his friend. Justin doesn’t believe him. Justin reaches for Jeffrey, who says, let him go.

David comes in, and tells Justin to leave. He asks Jeffrey what is going on? Jeffrey says, nothing, but Wyatt says, tell him. Jeffrey insists it’s nothing. David says he always holds things back until it’s too late. Wyatt says Justin is so in love with Jeffrey, he’s been to Wyatt’s house twice, and they got in a brawl. David asks if that’s true, and Jeffrey admits it is. Wyatt asks if Jeffrey likes Justin, and Jeffrey says he’s going through a lot and needs help. Wyatt says, it’s crazy, and David asks to talk to Jeffrey alone. David tells Jeffrey that he’s his father; Jeffrey can tell him anything. Jeffrey explains that Justin helped him when the body was found, and he’s a nice guy (when did that happen?), but has major issues. David offers to put a stop to it, but Jeffrey says he can handle him. Justin is in love with him. David asks if Jeffrey is in love with Justin, and Jeffrey says he’s never had someone be so passionate about him. David tells him abuse is not passion, and he needs help. Jeffrey thinks David is the last person to lecture him about the wrong person. David knows that, but he did get out. Jeffrey says, after twenty-five years. David says it didn’t start out that way, and asks if Jeffrey is sure he can handle it. Jeffrey says he can, if David lets him. Against David’s better judgement, he will. He tells Jeffrey that he’s reached out to a judge who’s reviewing the case, and should be able to get him out on bail. In the meantime, he might have to spend another night. David tells Jeffrey that he loves him, and hugs him. Jeffrey says, him too, and thanks David.

Candace sees Oscar in the hotel lobby, and keeps walking. Oscar calls Jim, who’s at Wyatt’s place with Kathryn. Oscar thinks he’s got what they’re after. He has all the information, and can make the transfers in the morning. He has Wyatt’s ID, and someone who looks like Wyatt who will make it happen. He’ll call Jim when it’s done. Jim thanks him, and Kathryn asks what that was about. Jim says, Wyatt’s inheritance; he got it back. She asks how, and he says he has his ways. He didn’t get all of it, but most of it. He says Kathryn went to Wyatt, but he went around him; there’s a difference. He keeps telling her that she needs him. He asks her to do him a favor and let him handle it. She asks if Wyatt knows, and Jim says he doesn’t know squat. She says he’ll be mad as hell, but that’s where Jim wants him to be.

Candace calls the bar, and tells Rocky about Oscar sitting in the lobby. She needs him to take photos of Oscar’s laptop screen. Rocky says he’ll need a distraction, but she’s already on it. She wants Gia to call her. Rocky slips Gia a note, and she calls Candace. Candace asks if she sees Oscar, and says she needs her to distract him; keep his back to the bar. She tells Gia he won’t go for her being a hooker, just flirt and be a little drunk. Get him away from the computer.

Gia sits with Oscar, who says he’s really busy. She tells him that’s rude, and closes his laptop. She says she hates when guys are rude; she was just asking for a drink. He says he’s not into hookers, and she acts offended. He says it’s written all over her; he knows her type. Rocky takes pictures. Oscar tells Gia to go somewhere else. There must be another john somewhere; find him. She closes his laptop again, and he tells her, enough. She asks him if he sees the guy over there. He’s her pimp, and if she doesn’t sit there and pretend to talk, she’ll have a bad night. Oscar asks if this is his problem, and she says, please? He says, okay, talk, and she asks him just to let her sit there. She thanks him for saving her life, and he thanks her for interrupting his. She starts babbling about how she likes to swim and loves shopping. Rocky sends the pictures to Candace.

Candace says, this is good. She’s got Jim’s account numbers, and she’s got Jim.

Veronica gets a call from Candace, who says she needs something from her. Veronica calls her a hood rat always looking for cheese. She calls Candace little girl, and Candace tells her not to be condescending; she’s trying to help. She asks if Veronica knows Lloyd at the bank. She needs an account opened in the name of the Cryer companies with her as the only signer and registered owner. Veronica asks what she’s up to, and Candace says, David. It’s what she has to do to help her take him down. She tells Veronica that David bought a house. Veronica asks if it’s a house for her, and Candace says she’s living with him.  Veronica says he barely knows her, and Candace says her girls are really good. It’s in the same neighborhood Veronica wanted to live in, but he’d told her it was too expensive. Veronica asks for the address, but Candace says she’ll get it after she opens the account. Veronica looks stunning, in an off-the-shoulder bodycon dress with bell sleeves, and a high ponytail Blond Ambition style.

Veronica calls Lloyd, explaining that she needs an account set up right away, and gives him the particulars. She says since she and David are going through a divorce, she needs him to think it’s the Cryer’s account and not hers. Veronica walks away, and Melissa, who also looks amazing in a blue paisley sundress (and not the ones you get for five bucks), checks out Veronica’s phone. She sends a text.

Benny says, this woman. Hanna asks why his face looks like that, and he says it’s nothing. He asks if he can have some space for his personal business. She tells him to do what he wants, but don’t see that crazy-ass woman. He says he’s not, and tells her to stop. Hanna tells him to stop it with her. He says he’s sorry for all of it; whatever he did. Hanna says he knows what he did, and he says he’s sorry for whatever she wants him to be. The doorbell rings, and it’s Kathryn’s glam squad. They heard Hanna has a date. She directs them to the bathroom, and calls Kathryn.

Jim asks if there’s anything to drink, and Kathryn reminds him that Wyatt is clean. Hanna calls, and tells Kathryn don’t try to sound innocent; there’s a serious makeover team there. Kathryn says it will be fun and wonderful; she’ll look fantastic. Hanna thanks her, and says she’s been thinking about something else; praying about it. Does Kathryn remember when she offered Hanna a promotion? I hope so, since that was last week. Hanna thinks she can come back to work, but as a supervisor, Kathryn says that’s good news, and they’ll talk later. Hanna says she’d kill her, but thanks. Kathryn wants her to enjoy her date, and can’t wait to hear about it.

Candace comes by Oscar’s table and tells Gia to get her ass up. She asks Oscar if he’s messing with whores now, and Gia says she’s not a whore. Candace tells her again to get her ass up, and Gia leaves. Candace says she thought Oscar was smarter than that, and asks if he’s still got his wallet. He says she didn’t come near him, but Candace says she made him look. Oscar says she’s in a better mood, and she tells him she wants to hear about the plan for Charles. Oscar says, finally. Is she in? She wants to hear the plan first, but not there. She tells him to come up to her room, and stop messing with whores. She says not to make her wait too long; she’s horny. He says, yes, ma’am.

David gets home sits on the stairs, bummed. Erica, who apparently only bought loungewear, says his energy is heavy; he has a lot on his mind. He tells her that he does, and she gets a bottle of wine, giving him a glass. He thanks her, and they sit in silence. She asks him to let her rub his shoulders. She wonders if he wants to talk, but he says not particularly. She asks if it’s crazy ex-wife drama, but he says it’s got nothing to do with her; it’s about his son. He’s realizing how much damage he did to him. When you love someone who’s no good for you, and stay with them, the children see it. They watch and learn, and it makes an impression. They become carbon copies of you. He thought he was being a good husband; loving, caring, and standing by her no matter what, but he was really teaching his son how to take abuse. He created a mess. Erica says he can’t help that he loved her or regret it. He doesn’t regret that, but regrets his son saw it and adopted that part of his heart that loves with disregard to his own well-being. She asks how old he is, and David says not much younger than her. She says, he’ll learn; he’ll get it. David hopes it’s soon. Erica is sorry he’s so stressed, and he says it feels good coming home to her. She likes him; he’s a good guy. He asks if she’s sure, and she suggests showing him. He says, please do, and they kiss.

Candace calls Veronica, and asks if it’s done. Veronica says, yes, and asks for the address. Candace wants to know what she’s doing with it. They’ve set up a great plan, and Candace doesn’t want her going over there. Veronica says she opened the account. Does Candace want her to close it? Candace wants to wait twenty-four hours, and says she’ll get it tomorrow. She hangs up, and Veronica says Candace thinks she’s playing with her. She calls back, and tells Candace to give her the address or the account will be closed. Candace says she’ll mess things up. She’s unstable, and Candace has a plan for David. She’s too crazy to keep control. Veronica says Candace doesn’t know her, and to give her the address now. Candace gives it to her, and Veronica hangs up.

Oscar comes to Candace’s room. She tells him to take his clothes off. He says he’s not doing this; she’s up to something. She says so is he, and calls him paranoid. She’s the one who should worry; he stole her money. He says that’s why he can’t trust her. He says she wanted to talk about Charles, and Candace says he got her out of jail. Oscar says his source was right; Charles is still into her. She wants to know the plan. He says powerful people want dirt on Charles, and it’s hard to get on such a clean guy, but they can bury him. Candace says he’s not like Oscar thinks; he’s smart like they are, and won’t fall for it. She suggests he take his clothes off and have a drink. He says he’s not doing this, and she says she’s not talking then. He tells her one drink only.

Wyatt goes to a bar in the middle of nowhere. He orders tequila, and the bartender asks if he wants to run a tab. Wyatt asks if there’s anything harder, and the bartender says, sorry. Wyatt gives him a credit card, saying he’ll run a tab. The bartender talks to another guy, and the guy goes over to Wyatt. He says if Wyatt is looking for something harder, go to the men’s room. Wyatt leaves the bar. The guy waits, then follows. He checks the stalls, and asks what Wyatt needs; he has it all. Wyatt asks if he has coke, and the guy asks if he’s a cop. Wyatt asks if he looks like one, and the guy says he looks like a choirboy. He asks how much, and Wyatt hands him a thick stack of bills. The guy gives him enough cocaine to choke a horse, and says whatever Wyatt needs, he has it – and he delivers. He leaves, and Wyatt looks at himself in the mirror, then looks at the coke.

Veronica drives to David’s place. She walks to the front door, and looks through the windows.

This was the pre-finale finale. HAHN will be back on May 1st at 9 pm for the most explosive single episode season yet. When you scorn the devil, everyone gets burned, and it isn’t who will die, but how many. It looks good!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

The ladies meet for a meal. Dorit tells Teddi to fill everyone in. Teddi says Erika is pretending, and Erika says she never pretends, telling Teddi, don’t do that to her again. Teddi walks out and down the street with LVP following.

Five days earlier…

LisaR and Erika meet for lunch, and Eileen joins them. Eileen says she’s just been working, hanging with the family, and doing her thing. LisaR misses her from the group. Eileen says blah-blah-blah about her kids. LisaR says they’ve moved on and forward with Dorit, and thinks they’re making progress. Erika says they’re confused. LisaR says she and Dorit connected, but something always happens. Erika tells Eileen that they’re waiting for the other shoe to drop, and Eileen says a big, fat, effing boot.

Kyle shows Mauricio some furniture that she picked out to go with the renovation. She wanted more of a modern fresh feel. They went to a house to look at the floors, and are now discussing moving into it. They talk about the pros and cons. Kyle wonders why they’re doing this, when the other home already has everything they want. She confesses to driving by it every day. Mauricio thinks they should check it out again. Portia thinks they should move since she made a mess of her room. Rich people’s problems.

Teddi goes for a mani/pedi with LisaR. LisaR tells her about having dinner with Dorit. She tells Teddi you would never have expected them to be together at a dinner table. We flash back to LisaR being an a-hole in Tokyo. Teddi asks if she thinks Dorit has put it behind her. In her interview, Teddi has a hard time with someone saying one thing, but thinking something different. Teddi reluctantly tells LisaR that after Vegas, she and Edwin had dinner with Dorit and PK, who were rehashing it. We flash back to PK said LisaR might be schizophrenic. LisaR tells Teddi that he’s said it before, and Teddi asks how she feels about it now, after she’d apologized? We go back again to the dinner, and PK inferring that she’s not really sorry. LisaR says you can’t fight it, and it’s on them. She tells Teddi that she’s been honest, open, and wanting to move on. In her interview, Teddi says it seems like a pattern with Dorit. We see some clips, one of which is Dorit accusing LisaR of a rage and regret schtick. Teddi says she felt fake looking at LisaR, and like she was a liar. LisaR says it’s not a big deal; there have been things much bigger. She tells Teddi that she wants to get the girls together for drinks and catching up on Saturday.

Erika gets ready for a book cover photo shoot. She wants it to be over-the-top, and to stand out, making people want to read the book. She says Simon and Schuster has been good to let her have creative control over the cover. She tells Mikey she just got another chapter. It’s about money, and she tells us, this sh*t is expensive. Explaining the process of a cover shoot, she says you go through a lot of set-ups and costumes to get the right picture; you have to make a statement.

PK and Dorit go to a meeting about the swimwear line. In her interview, Dorit says she’s spent endless time on the collection. They’re introduced to the head designer, and see the factory. Dorit says she grew up with the sound of a sewing machine and the smell of fabric. In her interview, she says she and PK are partners, but it was difficult to digest the changes he made. He’s a visionary and successful, so she feels lucky for getting the advice. They look at some sketches. Dorit says it’s fun, but classy, and feels like her brand; a blossomed idea of her initial thoughts. In her interview, she says she can always fire PK, but she still has to sleep with him at night.

Dorit visits Erika, and is impressed with the spread and the Cristal. In her interview, she says Erika gave her champagne in an actual champagne glass. They toast to their friendship. Dorit asks about the book, and Erika tells her that she just shot the cover. She’s enjoying the process, and the best part is the other people in her life sending her their memories; it’s a complete circle of events. We see a clip of her talking to her mom. She tells Dorit that she has a lot of work to do, but chapter by chapter, it’s coming along. They talk about Dorit’s swimwear line, and Dorit tells her the name was changes to Beverly Beach. Erika thinks it’s cute, and Dorit says it evokes a magical, fictional place; it’s a lifestyle. Erika says you can create anything you want it to be. For Pete’s sake, it’s just bathing suits. Dorit thinks she was ganged up on at LVP’s birthday party by Teddi and LVP. Erika asks if she’s detecting jealousy. In her interview, Erika says she’s disappointed in Dorit. The need for love and attention being the basis of a relationship, isn’t good for anyone. She believes everyone should be more independent.

LVP and Teddi go for a drink at PUMP. LVP asks Teddi if she thought her joke about Dorit’s glass at the party was funny. She did, but says she needs to have a conversation with Dorit where no one else is involved. She doesn’t want a serious conversation with a bunch of other people. LVP says then they chime in. Teddi says everyone else’s opinions cloud the situation.

Erika says LVP is going to continue to punish Dorit. Dorit says she likes Teddi, but she’d said a conversation with Dorit just goes around and around, when the same can be said for her. Erika asks why she didn’t say something. Dorit says if she wanted an accountability coach, she’d hire one. Erika says she seems to have issues with everyone except her, and Dorit says there are no issues with LisaR.

Kyle and Mauricio look at the house. Mauricio says it has a good vibe, and Kyle says it seems like a happy house. It’s the same vibe she’s going for in the reconstruction, but larger. It’s more property, but still has a homey feeling. It’s a better version of everything she loves about the house she’s living in now. Mauricio proclaims the backyard fantastic. He says it’s a hard call, but Kyle says it’s first one where she’s gotten the feeling she can make it her home. In her interview, she says properties sell fast in Beverly Hills, and they don’t have the luxury of sitting back, or it will be gone. Mauricio tells her an offer has already been made, so they have to decide quickly.

Teddi calls Dorit. She thought they should have a chat; a one-on-one conversation. She asks if she can pick Dorit up when they go for drinks. They can talk in the car.

The other girls get there first. Kyle tells LVP that they’re buying a new house. LVP is surprised Kyle didn’t ask her to see it first. Kyle says it’s lucky she knows the best realtor. There had been a few offers, and they had to move fast. She can’t wait for everyone to see it.

Teddi picks up Dorit, who comes out in a horrible pair of gold lame bell bottoms. Teddi has something that needs to be said, but she doesn’t want to make it a bigger deal than it is. Man, she just does not get it. These girls always make things a bigger deal than they are.

Camille, Dorit, and Teddi join the group. In her interview, LVP says she dealt with Dorit as she saw fit. She loves and forgives her, and has moved on. Everyone orders drinks. Kyle is taking Portia to see Hamilton, and since tickets were a hassle to get (and no doubt cost as much as a Birkin), there’s no way she’s missing it, so she’s leaving soon. LisaR says her mom is coming to town, and invites everyone to lunch. Kyle tells them to behave, and jets. Camille asks if Dorit is still upset over the ball-gag gift, and Dorit says she isn’t. Camille says it was just a joke. Dorit blindsides Teddi, asking if she’d like to fill the ladies in on what they talked about. So much for a private conversation. Teddi says the reason they talked in the car was that she wanted to talk only to Dorit, and not bring everyone into it. If she’d wanted to announce it, she would have done it herself. In her interview, Teddi says that she wanted to protect LisaR.

She tells them that after Vegas, Dorit and PK were talking about LisaR. LisaR says their relationship has been amazing since Vegas. Teddi says she couldn’t look her in the eye. Dorit says it was three months ago, and in passing (whatever that’s supposed to mean). She says it’s to restart something with someone she’s trying to work out issues with. She thinks her hands are clean, but she’s starting fires. Some kind of mixed metaphor there. LisaR thinks Dorit feels she waited a long time to bring it up. Teddi says she’d never said something, and it was making her uncomfortable. In her interview, LisaR doesn’t think Teddi is stirring anything; she thinks she’s doing the right thing. She’s a baby dolphin in a pool of sharks. LisaR says she and Dorit have come a long way. She’s not upset; they’ve said things that are much worse. In her interview, LVP says the only thing Teddi is guilty of, is bringing up something that’s dead and buried. Igniting it isn’t the smartest move. LisaR tells Dorit that if Teddi sees loose ends, she has to tie them up; it’s who she is. Dorit is like, are you kidding me? In her interview, LisaR thinks Dorit’s time as pet is up with LVP, since a newer, younger version came along. Teddi says she wanted a real conversation with Dorit. Dorit says she wanted to end it, but it ends when Teddi decides it does. She says no one had the same impression Teddi did at the NYC dinner; they didn’t think she was badmouthing or bashing LVP. Teddi tells her that she didn’t say that. She said it would have hurt her feelings, and Camille and Erika agreed. Erika doesn’t remember saying that, but we flash back, and yes, she did. Teddi remarks on her possible pretend amnesia, and Erika gets really pissed. She tells Teddi to never say that. LVP tells her to calm down, but Erika says she’s serious. She doesn’t pretend; it’s the truth that she doesn’t remember.

In her interview, Erika says Teddi is implying she’s lying because she doesn’t have the balls to come out and say it, but she simply doesn’t remember, and she’s tired of being nice. LVP tells Erika she’s coming across as aggressive, but Erika isn’t having it. She says she’s not pretending. In her interview, LisaR says she’s queen of not remembering – we flash back to that – so she doesn’t blame Erika. Teddi didn’t realize it would upset her so much, and says she’s sorry; she thought Erika was changing her story for convenience. Erika says she told her that she doesn’t remember. LVP says, let’s go, and Teddi gets up. In her interview, Erika says she’s not the bad guy. She wanted to talk about it, expect a response. Camille tells Teddi to stay strong. Dorit and Teddi leave, with LVP following. Teddi starts to cry, and Dorit says she’s not allowed to be upset. Teddi starts booking down the street. Everyone is outside by now, and Erika tells Dorit to leave her alone. In her interview, Erika says you can’t expect to push and not get pushed back. Dorit says call her what you will, she still has a heart, and can’t stand to see anyone cry.

LVP tells Teddi they’ve seen this side of Erika before in Hong Kong when she blew up at Eileen. We flash back to that. Teddi says she kept being aggressive. She changed her story whether she remembers or not. LVP wonders why get that upset if her answer is legitimate? Teddi tells LVP that Erika is good at hurting her feelings. LisaR feels Erika was too strong with Teddi, but Erika says don’t call her a liar then. In her interview, LisaR thinks Erika will eventually apologize, but in her interview, Erika says don’t go looking for an apology; she’s never going to get it, calling Teddi Miss Crybaby.

Next time, Harrison! Giggy! One of LVP’s pets die (but it’s not Harrison or Giggy, thank God), LisaR’s mother arrives, and Kyle as a séance.

📖 I caught some of The Book of John Gray, and wondered who this woman was that I recognized. It turned out to be Tami Roman from The Real World: Los Angeles. That was back when the show was actually good. People had lives and jobs and did things, rather than just having drunken sex in a hot tub. She also gave a worthy quote: Sometimes unfair is necessary to help someone else. I don’t know if that’s true, but it sounds good.

The Walking Dead

A carload of Saviors is out hunting for Morgan and Dr. Carson. Daryl sneaks around under a bridge. He’s leading a group scouting the roads. Tara tosses a zombie at Dwight, claiming it got away. Dwight kills it, and Daryl tells everyone to keep it moving.

Dr. Carson drives, and Gabriel asks if they’ve passed the Linus overpass, but the doctor doesn’t know. Gabriel says it’s going to be okay and have some faith. They’re on the right path if not the right road. He studies a map, but has difficulty focusing. Carson tells him that he’s is suffering from a serious complication. Does he really think God is leading the way? Gabriel says God is always leading the way, and Carson says maybe God should be driving. Gabriel jokes about Him leaving too many footprints, and a zombie drags itself along next to the car. Maybe Gabriel just needs glasses.

Carson asks about a mile marker, and if Gabriel can see it. Gabriel says he can’t, and Carson says he was stupid to let him leave, but he’s sick and there are antibiotics at Hilltop. Gabriel asks if he hears something, almost like a bell. I don’t. Carson isn’t too thrilled with leaving the car, but they walk through the forest, and come to a cabin. Gabriel says it’s not a bell, but might be their salvation. Carson doesn’t think so.

Rosita says the group needs rest. Daryl says, ten minutes. Tara asks why Dwight is still breathing; she’s done. Rosita tells her that he may have an angle, and tells her to knock it off; at least until they get to Hilltop.

Morgan and Henry guard the prisoners at Hilltop. Carol says she can take over. Jared yells that the kid is freaking people out, and they should move him along. The Saviors are going to roll up and let them out anyway. Henry asks Morgan, who killed his brother? Morgan tells him to go and eat. Henry asks Carol why they’re not telling him. She says he’s a child, and he’s done too much already. Morgan tells her that Henry knows how to live, and it doesn’t bother him. She says he’s not fine, and neither is Morgan. She tells him to take a break, and takes a turn as guard.

Negan is disappointed. This crap should be over. His only doctor and that creepy-ass priest jumped ship without anyone knowing. He asks if Eugene has any idea how it happened, but Eugene is not venturing any guesses. Negan says Carson is a weasel like his brother, and once their asses are caught, he’ll get the whole story – one way or another. And Alexandria – Eugene asks what went down there, and Negan asks why does he care? They tried to blow him off the earth. He tells Eugene that he’s going to be in charge of his own outpost. He needs his bullet-maker to be making bullets. He’s going to provide the next bang-bang Negan needs to settle this situation for good. Eugene asks what about people as resources, and Negan says bullets are a last resort. If Rick and his merry band of pricks decided to pull sh*t, then they’ll have to pull sh*t. It will be some that they don’t want, but it’s on them. Eugene is going to have everything he needs to keep his head in the game. Eugene asks if there will be wine, which would be my first question, and Negan says there will indeed.

Inside the cabin, Morgan shakes a piggy bank and laughs. He tries to read something from a notepad. Looking out the window, Carson says, clear so far. He tells Morgan that he should be lying down. It’s lucky they found this place. Morgan says luck had nothing to do with it. Morgan gives Carson the pad, and Carson says the owner was a radio operator. He looks through the pad, the owner writing that even if he can’t be helped, maybe he can help someone else. There are pages of radio calls, but they all say, no signal. Morgan says that they don’t know if others might have been reached, but the operator never found out. Or maybe it gave them strength to go on, even if they didn’t reach anyone. Carson opens the bedroom door. He sees a zombie cuffed to the bed with a plastic bag over its head. He says, didn’t happen.

Daryl goes over the map. Rosita thinks they should keep moving. Daryl wonders about the swamp. Dwight says it’s one place the Saviors won’t be. Negan thought it was too dangerous and not worth the risk. Tara asks if Daryl is seriously considering what Dwight has to say. If it’s too dangerous for the Saviors, why send them? Why should they trust Dwight? He could turn on them like he did his own people. Dwight says they all saw what happens if one of them gets away. If they find him, his head will be on a pike. He’s not fighting for them, and he’s not going back there. He wants to help them beat Negan. After that, he knows how it ends. Daryl says, fine; they’ll try the swamp. Tara is stunned.

One of the Kingdom Hilltoppers tells Maggie that they finished taking inventory. They’re barely going to make it through another week, and it will be worse if they include the prisoners. Jesus is still out scavenging, and might bring something back.

Carson takes a gun from the corpse, and tells Gabriel to lie down; he’s fighting a serious infection. Gabriel gives Carson some prescription bottles, and he looks through them. He says two are antibiotics, and this may have just saved his life. Gabriel tells Carson that he’s not saying a word.

Dwight says he’s doing it for Sherry. She let Daryl out and ran; she must be out there somewhere. Daryl looks at the swamp. Rosita says they can do it. Someone suggests a small group push through, and make a path for the others. Rosita asks if Tara is coming, but she’s hanging back. The small group starts to walk through.

Maggie asks Gregory what he wants. He says they haven’t seen eye to eye, and loyalties have been questioned, but his behavior has been good. She says he’s staying in there. He says she can’t keep him there forever, and she tells him give her a reason to kill him and she won’t have to. Another prisoner says they’ve been good, and she still took one out; they don’t have to be enemies. Maggie asks what Gregory wants. They want to go outside on good behavior; one at a time under armed guard. Maggie says she doesn’t have the resources to oblige, even if she wanted to. And BTW, she’s cutting off their rations in a few days, maybe longer. Her people come first; she has no choice. Gregory thinks she does.

Rosita and the others continue through the swamp. A zombie pops up in front of her, and she stabs it in the head. Daryl is impressed. Groot! Never mind. It’s just a tree. Zombies start to rise from the water like something out of Creepy comics. Daryl and Siddiq go through the water, stabbing them one by one.

Tara tells Dwight he just volunteered to kill some zombies, and gives him a knife.

Carson says Gabriel’s fever has broken. He tells Gabriel that if there’s no improvement in his eyesight soon, there will be permanent damage. Morgan is like, oh well, and Carson asks if losing his vision doesn’t scare him or piss him off. Gabriel says he’s letting Him lead the way. He tells Carson that he can’t see it, but can feel the look on his face. He’s not saying God led them there, but to find meaning in it. He knocks the piggy bank over, and it breaks. Carson finds car keys and a map inside. He looks at the map, and says they’re no more than a few miles off.

Tara follows Dwight through the forest, covering him with a gun. He stabs a zombie. He tells her that he’s sorry about Denise. He truly is. He doesn’t expect forgiveness; he doesn’t deserve it. He just wants her to know. She says he should have stayed with the Saviors. He says he hates them. He hates Negan. Tara doesn’t care. She says switching sides doesn’t make it okay; it never will. He asks what killing him will do, and she says, make her feel hella better. She shoots at him, but he ducks behind a tree, and runs. He stops in a clearing. He says he knew it would happen, but he’d wanted to help them win first. They hear people coming, and hide.

It’s the group of Saviors from the car. Tara holds the gun to Dwight’s head.

Carson and Gabriel head for the garage. Gabriel looks up, and a warning sign comes into focus. He yells for Carson to stop, but it’s too late. Carson steps into an animal trap. His leg is caught, and here comes a zombie. Oh, great. Now they’re coming out of the woodwork… er, forest. Carson shoots at one, but another falls on him. He shoots that one, but there’s another right behind, and he drops the gun. Gabriel crawls over, and finds the gun. He blindly shoots, and miraculously hits the zombie and not Carson. Carson says he did it, and Gabriel says he might have had some help.

Tara continues to hold the gun on Dwight. She looks like a nut. Dwight walks out to the road. One of the Saviors says they thought he was dead. He says he got caught in an ambush, but got away. He spent the night hiding and running, and trying to make it back. He asks what happened to Laura, and they say, sorry, no one has seen her. They’re going to Alexandria, and thought they’d check out the swamp. Dwight tells them that he just came from there, and to steer clear of it. He takes a gun from one of them, and says he’ll lead the way. Tara can’t believe it. She’s surprised all over the place tonight.

Rosita tells Daryl that she saw Tara running after Dwight. He asks why Rosita didn’t stop her, and Rosita says, no one could have stopped her. When she gets back, Dwight gets in Tara’s face, saying he told her to wait. Dwight could tell them everything. She says he saved them; he led the Saviors away. Daryl doesn’t care, and starts cursing everything. Then he sees Tobin covering Judith’s ears, and says, let’s go. They start to maneuver through the swamp.

Gabriel asks if Carson wants him to drive, but that’s a no. They get in the car, and hear, hands up, a-holes. They turn around, and it’s the Savior group now joined by Dwight. They’re deposited in the bed of the truck. Gabriel tells Carson that He’s still leading the way. Believe it, and he’ll see it. What Carson sees is an unattended gun on a Savior, and grabs it, but gets shot. As the truck pulls away, Morgan weeps, and says, no, no, no. I say, no surprise this show is a total bummer. Always.

The gates of Hilltop open. Daryl and the others walk in. Carol runs to greet them. We only hear music, so we can’t hear what they’re saying, but Daryl shakes his head. Enid cries, and sinks to the ground. Siddiq looks tired. Maggie comforts Enid.

Morgan says Henry asked about who killed his brother. It was Gavin, and he got him, so…

Siddiq thanks Maggie for her hospitality. She says it’s not much, but he tells her, its everything. He asks if there’s an infirmary, and she asks if he’s hurt. He says he’s fine, but has medical experience. He can pitch in and help. She explains they’re using the trailers, and thanks him. She watches everyone interacting.

Eugene makes bullets. Frankie (I think – whoever the redhead is) says he was destined for this. He tells her to be there, she needs gloves and proper eye protection. She thought she’d help, and he says she can help by bringing some food – eggs nicely dancing with tomatoes. He’s going to designate the northwest corner as a breakroom and motivational presentation cubby.

Negan kicks the door open, and brings in Gabriel. He says Gabriel told him an interesting story about how he made his way out of their lovely home. We hold our collective breaths for a beat or two, and he says it was Carson. Negan asks if he called it or what. Gabriel asks why bring him here, and Negan says he needs an extra set of hands to separate casings. Gabriel’s eyes don’t work for sh*t, but his hands do. Eugene says it will still be a few days, but Negan says that doesn’t work for him. They need a more Biblical approach. Eugene says they could rig catapults, and launch dead arms, legs, and heads, creating traumatic theatrics. Negan thanks him. He believes a rose sprang into the pile of sh*t. He tells the guys, let’s roll, and whistles as he leaves.

Eugene goes to Gabriel. Gabriel says he thought he found what he was meant to do. Eugene says, he has, and so has Eugene. He tells Gabriel to get to work.

Maggie approaches the prisoners and points at one. She says they’re to be taken out in pairs for work, exercise, and medical attention. They can start by cleaning the stables. Gregory thinks since they’ll be working, they should get more food, but she says quarter rations, same as always. He appreciates it, but the Saviors are still coming. He thinks they should consider evacuation. If they run, they live. He asks how they could win, and she tells him to look around.

Outside, Negan addresses his people while standing in front of three zombies chained to a fence. He says they know how it works. You get a bite, something from them gets in you, and you join the club. But what if they can use it to their advantage? He whacks at a zombie with Lucille. He tells them Lucille is getting to know their friend. He bashes and pokes at the zombie, until Lucille is covered with blood and rotted flesh. He tells them to look at that. No more smashing and bashing; just a touch, just a kiss. Hilltop will learn to comply, dead or alive. Or some kind of sh*t in between.

Next time, Negan orders the Saviors to let them turn, don’t kill them; and Negan tells Rick that he failed his boy and his people – let Negan save them.

🎭 The Good News & the Bad News

Sunday, April 15th is a big day. Sadly, your taxes are due the next day, but Fear the Walking Dead (which Morgan will be a part of) also returns at 10 pm on AMC, and Southern Charm New Orleans premieres on Bravo at 9 pm. The original Southern Charm will be back on Thursday, April 5th at 9 pm. They’ve already tried with Savannah, which was a snooze, and IMO, it would be tough to top the Charleston cast. Who can resist the Peter Pan that is Thomas; his off-again-on-again squeeze, and mother of his children, fiery Kathryn; matriarch of the South, Patricia, and her baby boy Whitney; dreamer Craig; perpetual adolescent Shep; weepy roller coaster ride Landon; and Cameran, avoiding motherhood since the beginning of time, finally having a baby?

General Hospital

Things are shaking again in Port Charles. Jason tells Sam not to move.

Ned is at the station on the phone. It’s chaos. He asks for FEMA to get involved; he needs federal assistance. Good luck with that. He says he’s waiting ten minutes, and then he’s calling the White House. Alexis tells him that she hasn’t heard from either of her daughters since the quake.

Molly is brought into the hospital. She was hit by falling debris, and lost consciousness on the way there. Finn calls for a bunch of medical stuff. He tells Julian and TJ to wait outside.

Drew asks if Kim is all right. She’s okay, but Oscar not so much. His breathing is shallow again. Dante yells for Drew, but sees him smushed underneath the freezer door.

Sam looks through a hole in the floor, and tells Jason there’s nothing down there. He says if it shifts again, they could fall. She asks what they’re going to do, and he says he’s working on it.

Franco and Elizabeth go to the hospital. She asks him to check on the boys. Josslyn talks to TJ about Oscar. TJ says Kim is a doctor. He’s sure she’s taking great care of him, and Josslyn says he’ll be okay, and so will Molly. Amy tells TJ that he can come in.

Finn says Molly has a broken rib, but no internal bleeding. TJ is welcome to stay with her; she should be waking up any time now. He sits by the bed and takes her hand. He tells her that she’s going to be all right, but he needs a favor. He wants her to wake up and tell him herself

Ned says they’re coordinating the evacuation centers. Alexis asks if Jordan has heard from Molly and TJ, but she hasn’t. Alexis tells Ned that they were on Charles Street. Finn calls Alexis to tell her that Molly is at the hospital and should be fine. She asks about TJ, and Finn says he’s fine too. Alexis lets Ned know that Molly is stable, and asks him to tell Jordan that TJ is okay. An officer confers with Jordan. Ned tells her about TJ, and gets a call from emergency services.

Molly opens her eyes. TJ tells her that she has a broken rib, but Finn says she’ll be fine. She asks him to take her oxygen mask off. He says he shouldn’t, and she tells him that he can put it back after he kisses her. Done and done.

Dante shoves everything aside. Kim asks what happened. Dante tells her that Drew is trapped under a door, but he can’t tell how badly Drew is hurt. He needs help lifting the door, but Kim can’t leave Oscar; she doesn’t like the way he’s breathing. Dante throws Oscar over his shoulder, and says, let’s go. Kim follows.

Jason cautiously gets up. He tells Sam the doorway is clear. If she grabs his hand, he can pull her out. The trailer starts to rock, and Jason tells her to stay close to the ground and go slow. It rocks again, and Sam says if she moves anymore, it will go. She tells Jason to jump out; the trailer will protect her. He says, no, it won’t, and tells her keep going. Focus on him. She reaches out.

Finn tells Alexis to go right in, and that Molly will be fine. Molly tells Alexis that TJ saved her, but he says it wasn’t just him.

Julian asks Josslyn if there’s any word on Molly, and she says TJ is with her. He asks why she’s there alone, and she tells him that she’s not. Her mom is upstairs with Michael, and she’s waiting for Oscar. Julian asks if he’s okay, but she doesn’t know.

Olivia-Q shows up at the station, and asks Ned how it’s going. He tells her that he’s coordinating the state and federal services. He was just informed of a water main break, and there are people unaccounted for. Olivia asks how this happened, but that’s what he’d like to know.

Julian asks if Franco isn’t overdressed, and Franco tells him a natural disaster doesn’t care what your plans are. Dante brings in Oscar. Josslyn runs to him, but Kim tells her to stand back. She says Oscar will be fine, but his father isn’t.

Jason says he knows Sam can do this. He tells her don’t quit and never panic. The trailer rocks, and she slides back. She says she’s panicking. Jason holds out his hand, and says she can do it. He grasps her hand, and says he’s got her. Love twinkles out of her eyes, and I roll mine. He grabs her as the floor falls out.

Ned says the last earthquake there was in 1991, and it was a once in a ten-thousand-year event. Earthquakes don’t happen there, and definitely not every twenty-five years. Why this one? Jim shows up, saying his equipment is at their disposal. Jordan says Charles Street sustained the most damage, and Jim says it’s on a landfill and not stable. Jordan says he didn’t waste any time digging, and he asks what she’s implying. She says she’s just stating facts. He started digging immediately after the election. Jim says he has all the proper permits, and she says she doesn’t think the Faultline cares about permits. Olivia says it takes deeper digging to reach a Faultline; like if you’re digging for natural gas – she saw it on PBS. Jim offers to help in any way he can, and leaves the station. Ned tells Jordan that he gets she doesn’t like Jim, but now is not the time. The city is in chaos and people are hurting. They have to pull together as a community, and figure out who to blame later.

Dante and Franco go back to The Floating Rib. Dante says Drew is still breathing, and his pulse is steady. Franco says, good; that means they can wait. Dante is like, no it doesn’t. Franco says he gets it. He was pinned under a file cabinet for a couple of hours, but Drew will be mad if they screw it up and he’s paralyzed. A light falls from the ceiling, and Dante says if they wait any longer, and the building collapses, he’ll be dead.

Finn tells Kim that Oscar is going to be okay, but Kim says she wants him admitted for observation. Amy puts him on the list. Kim sits next to his bed, and says he did good. He’s strong and brave, and hung in there. He says his dad saved him.

Franco and Dante can’t get the door to budge. Franco thinks they should call the fire department, but Dante doesn’t think they have time. They talk about what they can use for leverage.

Jason and Sam jump out of the trailer door in slow motion.

Kim tells Oscar that all his life, she said she was the only parent he needed. She wonders if she made the wrong choice. His father could have been there all along. Josslyn comes in. She says Amy told her that he would be all right, but she wanted to see for herself. Kim tells her to stay, and gives her the seat, saying she’ll be back in a few minutes. Josslyn tells Oscar that she spent hours wanting to be with him, and now that she is, she doesn’t know what to say. The only reason he’s there is because he gave her his jacket, and it must have kept her warm enough, but at his expense. She thanks him for saving her. She hopes there isn’t a next time, but if there is, she’ll save him right back. Kim listens, and tears up. She walks away, and Julian follows her.

Franco uses his own legs as leverage. Dante pulls Drew out, but Franco is stuck.

Jim sees Elizabeth, and says he guesses she didn’t make it down the aisle. She says there was an earthquake, and things didn’t go as planned. He hopes he didn’t overstep, but they seemed to make each other happy. Elizabeth says they do. She and Franco are still getting married. They just need to pick a new date.

TJ tells Alexis that they were in front of their old building when the earthquake hit. They ran for cover, but Molly got pinned under an awning that fell. Julian showed up, and helped move the awning and carry her to the hospital. He doesn’t think she would have made it without Julian. Molly nods in agreement.

Kim cries in the locker room. Julian asks if she’s okay. She says she’s getting there. Oscar was treated for hypothermia, but he’ll be okay. Julian asks if those are tears of relief, and she says, mostly. Drew was trapped during the aftershock, and they had to leave with Oscar. Rescuers are getting him, but the building is unstable.

Dante asks Franco to hand him the crowbar. Franco is like, are you kidding? but Dante says he can’t hold the door and reach it at the same time. Franco manages to get it, and Dante props the door up with it. They both slide out before it falls.

Something explodes near Jason and Sam.

Franco and Dante carry Drew out.

Jason asks if Sam is okay. She thinks so. They look longingly at each other.

Drew is brought to the hospital. Finn says he has multiple contusions, and possible internal injuries. There’s no cubicle, so Finn examines him in the hallway. Dante tells them he was trapped under a freezer door. Finn asks how they got him out, and Franco says, physics. Drew asks about Oscar.

Josslyn tells Oscar it’s weird how things she thought were important don’t matter. She thought she would literally die if she didn’t wear that dress to the dance, and it got ruined by asshat Troy. She thought that was a tragedy, but a tragedy is an earthquake. A tragedy is being stuck in a freezer. A tragedy is after all this, if he’s not okay. Oscar smiles and opens his eyes. She tells him that she’ll get a doctor, but he asks her not to leave.

Kim tells Julian that she has to pull it together; she can’t stop shaking. Julian holds her, saying everything will be okay. She says he doesn’t know that, but he says they’ll hope for the best. Alexis comes in, and Kim goes back to Oscar. Alexis says not that it’s her business, but is Kim all right? Julian says Oscar was injured, but he’ll be okay. He asks about Molly, and Alexis says she’s doing very well, thanks to him. He says it’s no big deal, but Alexis says TJ claimed he couldn’t have gotten her out without Julian’s help. She thanks him. He asks if there’s something else, and she says Molly asked to see him.

Ned and Jordan give a televised speech. Like people must be glued to their battery-run TVs. He says in accordance with the state and federal government, the governor has declared a state of emergency. Jordan says there’s a mandatory evacuation for Charles Street, and the adjacent neighborhoods. Ned lists the places set up for triage, and says if a missing person needs to be reported, there will be coordinators at the sites. It’s a difficult time, but they’re coming together and helping each other, and will continue to do so in the days ahead.

Oscar tells Josslyn that he feels floaty and relaxed. Kim comes in, and Oscar says sorry he scared her. She says she can’t yell at him for being a hero, but don’t do it again. He asks about Drew, and Amy comes in, saying his dad is asking about him. Kim tells them that Drew is by the nurses’ station, waiting for a room. He has some serious bruising, but should be fine. Oscar says Drew can have his bed, but Amy says that’s up to the doctor, and he needs to stay there. Kim leaves to check on Drew.

Franco tells Elizabeth that you had to be there. A door fell on Drew, and he and Dante got underneath it to lift it off. Dante gets a call, and thanks Franco. Franco is like, that just happened; Dante just thanked him. Elizabeth says he saved Drew’s life. Franco says he needs a shower, and feel free to join him. Elizabeth says don’t tempt her

Kim tells Drew that Oscar is fine, and asked her to check on him.

Sam needs to tell Jason something. She knew it was him at the pier and in her hospital room. She couldn’t say anything because couldn’t hurt him. Jason says it’s okay. Sam says every day, she had to tell herself the nightmare is over; he’s alive. She told him to keep his distance, but she didn’t mean it. Every day she was hoping to run into him, so she could hear his voice or see his eyes. She’s not supposed to say this, but she doesn’t care. She never stopped loving him.

Molly thanks Julian for saving TJ. He’s glad he was there, and she says, so is she. Alexis looks hopeful.

Franco showers. Elizabeth joins him.

Josslyn tells Oscar that when it’s over, she’ll have to apologize to the cop who evacuated her from The Floating Rib. She wanted to stay, but he dragged her away. The whole way there, she threatened to sue him. She told him the PCPD has a bias against her family, which is true, and that they have the best lawyer, which is also true. Oscar says she sounds fierce, and she says she was total bitch. He’s flattered that she was fighting to stay with him, and she says she’ll always fight for that.

Kim tells Drew that Oscar will be fine. She can’t believe he trapped himself in the freezer, and Drew says love makes you do stupid things. She says it’s easier in San Diego. If you want to kiss a girl, you can just take her for a walk on the beach. She tells him that she’s sorry she was unfair to him and Oscar. She didn’t give him a chance to be a father. He says he might not agree with some of her choices, but he knows she loves Oscar, and he’s a great kid. He has a chance to know him now, and he’s grateful. She says she is too. If it hadn’t been for him… He saved Oscar’s life. Drew says they both did.

Jason takes Sam’s hand, and says he loves her. He didn’t say it until now because he didn’t want to pressure her. Sam says she made such a mess of the whole situation, but Jason says none of them did this. It was done to them, and there’s no easy or clean way out. No matter what, he knows she loves him and he loves her. If that’s all it is, it’s enough.

Tomorrow, Nelle says it’s not possible, Sam tells Drew she was with Jason, and Carly tells Sonny that he has to deal with his father’s Alzheimer’s.

If Loving You is Wrong

Brad tells Alex that she told him Dr. Raston switched the DNA tests. She lied to him again. Alex is like, homina-homina, and Dr. Raston says to tell the truth; she didn’t say it and she didn’t do it. Alex admits she lied. She just wanted Brad to calm down. He tells her to stay away from him. He’s done.

Randal says he’s confused. Did she do it or not do it? Dr. Raston says she didn’t do anything. Randal says he and his lawyer are going to burn some asses. He’s going to sue her. Dr. Raston wisely leaves. Randal tells Alex he has a degree; he’s a master in psychological warfare. He tells her to give up. She says she can’t beat him at anything, and he’s glad she finally sees that. He asks if the baby is his, and Alex says of course; he looks just like him. Can we please name the baby before he’s in kindergarten? Randal asks why lie, and Alex says she already said she’s sorry. He asks if Marcie’s baby is his. Alex says yes, and he asks how she knows. She tells him to check the dates. She points out where Marcie is, and tells him to go cause hell for someone else. She’s also done. He tells her skedaddle back home – really, he used that word – and he’ll meet her in the shed later. Don’t keep him waiting. He has someone else waiting for him.

Randal slips into Marcie’s room. She tells him that he needs to leave. He says he needs to check on his wife. He asks what’s wrong? Her body can’t handle the stress? She starts breathing heavy, and he asks why she miscarries all these babies; what’s wrong with her body? She tells him to leave. He says he’s there to encourage her. She’s going to have this one, and he’ll be healthy and happy. He asks what they’re naming him, and she says, Brad. He tells her it’s his, and they’re naming him Randal. Marcie insists it’s not his. Randal says, he’s mine. She wants him to leave, and he says we can’t always get what we want. Thanks for the Rolling Stones earworm, Randal. He says he finally got his child though. Marcie tells him it’s not his baby, and he says that’s not what he heard from Alex. She says they both know how honest Alex is, but he says he did some counting, and figured out the baby is his. He’s been having wonderful dreams abut his babies being raised by Daddy Randal. Marcie tells him to keep on dreaming. He says he’s stopping by Larry’s office, and Marcie says that he signed the papers; let her go. Randal says he didn’t sign them; who told her that? She says she saw them, and tells him get out. The light bulb comes on over Randal’s head, and he remembers signing something else for Larry. Too late to argue with Larry now.

Lushion goes into the interrogation room, and asks Kelly how the visit with Justice was. She says, too short, and he asks if she’s okay. She doesn’t know how she feels. He tells her to hang on, and she asks for how long? He says as long as it takes. Kelly says her son deserves better than her, and Lushion tells her not to talk like that. She starts crying, and says she can still see Travis and smell his blood. Lushion tells her to stop talking. He has someone who wants to see her. Pull it together.

Natalie – who has a big hand in this whole mess – comes in, and asks how Kelly is. She says Kelly doesn’t look so good, and Kelly still has enough of a sense of humor to say, thanks. Natalie says that’s not what she meant; she doesn’t look like herself. Her hair is still totally fabulous though. Kelly says she’s floating above, like she’s not there. She gives Natalie a paper, saying it’s a thank you letter. Natalie says no thanks necessary, but Kelly says she’s been a good friend and she’s grateful for her taking Justice. She tells Natalie to wait until later to read it. Lushion comes back, and Kelly thanks him. He says he’s going to get her out. Kelly doesn’t know how. Carl showed her what the DA has, and it’s bad. Lushion says she’ll get out, but she says she did it; she killed him. He tells her that he needs her to stop talking in there. Kelly wants to lie down, and Natalie promises to be back. Kelly says she loves them both, and Natalie says they love her too. Lushion walks out with Natalie, saying he’ll e back in a second.

Natalie tells Lushion maybe it wasn’t a good idea for Justice to see Kelly just yet. She thinks they should keep an eye on her, and Lushion says she’s monitored 24/7. He goes back to work, and Esperanza asks how Natalie’s visit was. Natalie says she’s worried, and asks if Esperanza is okay. She says she’s fine, but Natalie doesn’t buy it. Esperanza says she feels silly talking about it, but she’s been calling Steven and he’s not picking up. Natalie asks, didn’t she tell him that she didn’t want to talk to him? Esperanza admits she told him it was over, but he should still answer his calls; she thinks it’s rude. Natalie asks if they’re doing this when Kelly has such problems. Esperanza is afraid Eddie threatened Steven. Natalie tells her to move on. I’m distracted by Esperanza’s strange white highlights.

Brad comes back to Marcie’s room, and Marcie thanks him for staying. He was hoping Randal didn’t find her. She says Alex told him she was there, and that the baby is his. Brad says he’s done; he’s leaving and not going back. She lied about the doctor. He gave her a chance to tell the truth, and she lied again. He’s coming back to their place if she doesn’t mind. She says, of course not, and he asks if her boyfriend Ian will be okay with it. She says he’s not her boyfriend, and Brad says he seems protective and obviously likes her. Marcie wonders if he likes her enough to commit a crime. Brad asks if she wants him to murder Randal, but she says he got the divorce papers signed. That’s not like Randal. Brad says at least she’s divorced. She says if it’s not true, Randal will just be madder and worse to deal with. Marcie suddenly cramps, and tells Brad to get the doctor.

Esperanza needs to talk to Lushion. She’s genuinely concerned for Steven. Eddie knows what time he left her house. Lushion asks if she thinks Eddie did something. She doesn’t know, but they both know Eddie. Lushion says Steven can take care of himself, and he doesn’t think Eddie would do something. Esperanza says Steven isn’t answering his phone. Lushion says if he calls and Steven answers, she’ll feel some kind of way, but she insists she won’t. Lushion calls Steven, who picks up. He says he’s just seeing what Steven is up to, and Steven says he’s playing golf. Steven asks what’s going on, and Lushion says he’s got to go. Steven knows something is up, and then says, she’s listening, isn’t she? Lushion says, goodbye. Esperanza says he played the game, and she fell for it. She wonders if they talked about it, and breezes out, thanking Lushion. He says, this is why people should not have work flings.

Randal busts into Ian’s office, asking, where is he? Ian says he’s still out, and Randal asks, out where? Ian offers Randal a seat, and Randal asks if he looks like he’s in the mood for a damn seat. The SOB tricked him. He came to the house, had him sign something, and now the divorce papers are signed. Ian says that would be unethical; Larry wouldn’t do something like that. Randal says he did it, and now he’s divorced. Ian asks if that’s a bad thing, and Randal says, damn right. Ian asks, how so? and Randal says it’s not about divorce; it’s about revenge. He tells Ian the papers were filed a few hours ago, and Ian says maybe it’s for the best. He’s a smart, attractive guy. He could find another woman. Randal tells him to go to hell, and tell Larry to call him or he’ll be back, and he won’t be alone. He has friends everywhere. Ian says threats don’t go over too well around there, and Randal says he can back it up. Ian says he’ll be waiting. Randal messes with Ian’s tie before he leaves, because he’s fourteen.

Lushion goes to the box truck. He bangs on it, and asks if anyone is in there. He gets silence, and opens it, finding dead Larry. He calls for an ambulance – stat – and says, damn you, Eddie.

Alex arrives home, and calls Esperanza before she goes in. Esperanza asks what’s wrong, and Alex says she just needed to talk. She says she’s tired. What if she just gives in; gives him what he wants. Esperanza asks if she’s talking about custody of the baby, but Alex says that will never happen. Esperanza isn’t following, and Alex says she’s rambling. She’ll call back later.

In the hallway, Brad asks how Marcie is, and Dr. Raston says, it’s bad news; she lost the baby. Brad says it’s going to devastate her. He’d thought she was doing well. The doctor says the test they were waiting on was the one that told them they were trouble, but it happened before the results came back. Brad thanks her, and she says she’s sorry. She’s sorry about everything. Brad says, onward and upward. What is he? A Boy Scout? Dr. Raston thinks he should be there when she tells Marcie, and he says he’ll stay.

When they walk into Marcie’s room, she says she knows that look. Dr. Raston says she’s sorry; Marcie lost the baby. Marcie wants to go home, but the doctor says they need to keep her there. Marcie says Randal stressed her out; he wanted her dead. She repeats that she wants to go home. Brad says he’ll stay for a while, but she wants to be alone. When she’s by herself, Marcie bawls her eyes out.

At the hospital, Eddie tells Lushion he’d better have a good reason for calling him there. Lushion tells Eddie that they found him; take a look. It’s Larry, and he’s not so dead. Eddie says, damn, and Lushion says he’s awake and talking. He tells Eddie that kidnapping is a federal offense, and Eddie says he had nothing to do with it. Lushion says Larry told him, and wants Eddie in the room. Lushion also wants Eddie off his case, and Eddie says, too bad. He’s DEA.

Steven asks Larry what happened, and Eddie asks what happened in the truck? Steven asks how he knew Larry was in a truck, and Eddie says, lucky guess. Larry says he was playing sex games with a few people, and things got out of hand. Steven says, he wasn’t kidnapped? and Larry says, no, he wasn’t. Lushion gives Eddie a look, and Steven says they have no business here. Larry says, sorry about that, and asks to speak with Eddie for a moment.

Eddie asks how Larry is feeling. Larry tells him that he’s going to get even. Eddie says Larry started it, and Larry says Eddie went too far. Eddie says, no, he did. Larry says, okay, playa. He’ll be waiting; it’s coming. I’ll be looking forward to that.

When Eddie comes out, Lushion asks if he has something tell them. Eddie says to pop some popcorn and keep watching the Eddie show. He’s such a nut.

Randal pulls into his driveway. Alex walks over, and heads to the backyard. Randal asks where she’s going. Brad sees them, and keeps on driving. Randal follows Alex to the infamous shed, and tells her to get out. She closes the door. She tells him that she’s tired, and he says the weak are always tired. She says she is weak, and tired. He tells her get out, but she says he doesn’t mean that because he still loves her. He says she’s so wrong, and she asks why all the fire and passion? She’s tired of seeing him go through it, and tired of going through it herself. She’s just asking him one last time to please be done. Randal says she started it, and Alex says she knows it, but it doesn’t matter now. He tells her that she never apologized and meant it. She says she’s sorry for everything she’s ever done to him. She knows that sometimes he can be a real SOB, but she’s apologizing and hopes he can forgive her.

He says sometimes he doesn’t want to do it anymore either, and she says, then why? He says he thinks about the good times, and how much he loved her. Then he thinks about her and Brad. She tells him to hush. She knows, but it’s over; it’s done. They have a child to think about. She’ll let him see the baby; she’ll get him right now. Then they can really work on healing their friendships and families, and move forward. They can work through this.

Randal tells her to take her clothes off. Alex says that’s not why she came here. They’re not doing this right now. They have to fix this; that’s what’s important. She begs him, but he sinks down in front of her and starts pulling at her clothes. She asks if she’s smelling gasoline. Randal opens the door a crack, and smoke pours in. He can’t get the door open any further, and they start yelling. We see a crowbar keeping the door handles shut, and fire all around the place.

Natalie is sweeping up at the house. She sees her bag on the couch, and takes out the letter. She reads it, and grabs her phone. She calls Lushion. She tells him to check on Kelly. It’s a suicide note. Lushion runs to Kelly’s cell, and we see her feet hanging. He yells for help, as he tries to get her down. Let’s all say it together: Poor Lushion!

This was the finale, so no preview. They promised three huge surprises, and I guess we got them. Larry is alive, Randal and Alex might get burned alive, and Kelly might no longer be alive. We also had a couple of minor surprises. Steven was fine and playing golf, and Larry didn’t squeal on Eddie. I can’t wait to see what he has planned though.

General Hospital

Kim gets into the freezer. Josslyn and Oscar are passed out. Kim tells Drew they have to get them out of there.

Carly can’t believe she’s stuck with Nelle. Nelle says she needs to know if the father of her baby is okay. Carly asks if she can’t call him Michael. Does she have to keep reminding her? Nelle says, if anything happened – but Carly interrupts, saying everyone is alive and well; they have to be. Because Carly says so.

Griff asks Michael if he lost consciousness. Michael says he’s been in and out. Griff tells him to follow his finger. He wants to do a CT scan. Sonny tells Michael that he knows he has a hard head, but he needs to be checked out. Michael says he needs to find out about Nelle and the baby.

Elizabeth talks to Franco, saying wherever he is, she’s right here. She feels in her heart that he’s doing everything he can to get back.

Franco asks if the weird old guy is still there. He gets silence, and yells for help.

Jason suggests Mike head over to the evacuation center, but he says he promised to help a guy who’s trapped. Jason tells him relax, and asks who and where?

Kim covers the kids. Josslyn comes to. Kim tells Drew to get her moving, while she works on warming up Oscar. Josslyn wonders why Oscar’s not waking up.

Michael says he’s okay, but Amy is like, get in the wheelchair.

Nelle tells Carly that Michael will come looking for her. Carly is sure he’s concerned about the baby, and Nelle says she hates it that he cares about her. Carly says he tolerates her, but does it in a nice way. Nelle says they share a child, and it’s a bond no one can break, not even her. Carly says one time she was trapped in an elevator in a burning building with Alexis, who she hated at the time. It was torture, but she never thought she’d miss those days. Nelle goes to look for bottled water, and doubles over. Carly asks what game she’s playing.

Mike says a guy needed his help. Jason tells Sam to take Mike to the evacuation center, and he’ll look around. Sam asks Mike to help her get back. Mike says he was on Post Street, but it looks different. Jason asks if that’s where he left the man, but Mike isn’t sure. He says he’ll help look, but Jason tells him to help Sam.

Elizabeth looks at the damage, and says, talk about a wedding disaster. Then again, they don’t lead predictable lives.

Franco bangs on the cabinet, and says, this sucks. He says the old man forgot. He hears someone, and asks what took so long, but it’s Jason.

Kim continues to work on Oscar. She asks Drew to get something to elevate his legs. Chase shows up, and tells them to evacuate. Kim says the kids are suffering from hypothermia, and they need an ambulance. Chase says he can call, but doesn’t know how long it will take them to get there. Drew tells him to take Josslyn, even though she doesn’t want to leave. Drew and Kim keep trying to to warm Oscar.

Nelle thinks she felt a contraction, and says it’s too soon. Carly tells her nice try. Nelle thinks something is wrong. Carly tells her sit, and asks how painful they are. Nelle says, painful, and Carly asks if they’re unpredictable. Nelle doesn’t know, she’s only had four. Carly says, irregular or regular, and Nelle tells her, irregular. She asks if she’s going into labor.

Mike and Sam stop at the church. Mike needs to stop and think. They see Elizabeth, and Sam asks if she’s okay. She says she’s waiting for Franco. Sam asks if he left her at the altar, but she doesn’t know where he is. She asks if it’s bad, and Sam tells her between there and Post Street is pretty bad. Mike remembers Elizabeth. Sam says they should get to the evacuation center, and Mike calls her sweet for looking after him when she should be with Jason. Elizabeth says she’ll watch out for Mike, and Sam leaves. Mike asks Elizabeth how Lucky is, and if he still plays guitar.

Jason acts like an a-hole, and just looks at Franco. Jason thought he was getting married, and Franco says he was on the way, but thought he should let a file cabinet fall on him first. He asks why Jason is there, and where’s the old man? He knows Jason hates him, and Jason says hate doesn’t begin to cover it. Franco says he needs to be somewhere. Jason is a man of honor. He’s trapped and helpless, and Jason can’t leave him. It’s against his code. Jason thinks this over.

Kim loses Oscar’s pulse.

At the hospital, Josslyn is annoyed with Chase, saying he didn’t need to walk her. He says they’ll send the earliest available ambulance for Oscar, but she says that could be hours. She sees Sonny, who asks if she’s okay. She explains what happened, and tells him this jerk dragged her away. Chase says she needs to be checked for hypothermia. Sonny tells Josslyn that Oscar is in good hands, but she says she wanted to be with him. It sounds dumb, but maybe he could sense it if she was there. Sonny says it’s not dumb, and asks Amy to check her for hypothermia. Josslyn tells Amy she was locked in a freezer; long story. Sonny asks Griff how Michael is doing, and Griff says he won’t stop asking about Nelle and the baby. Josslyn tells them that Nelle was working late at the gallery. Sonny says he’ll go, and if the doctor says it’s okay, Josslyn can sit with Michael.

Carly gives Nelle a bottle of water, and tells her to take small sips. She asks when was the last time Nelle had any, and tells her that she could be dehydrated. What she’s experiencing could be Braxton Hicks contractions, which are basically practice contractions. Nelle asks what if it’s real labor, and Carly tells her to stop stressing; it’s not good for the baby. Nelle says Michael is a good person, and wonders how he can possibly be hers. Carly says she asks herself that question every day; she’s just lucky. She tells Nelle to drink the water and try to breathe. Nelle asks if she means like in the childbirth classes she takes with Michael. Carly says yes, and tells her to stop talking, and just breathe.

Mike tells Elizabeth that she probably heard gossip about him having memory issues. He forgets things now and then, but he sure remembers her and Lucky. Elizabeth says they’re not married anymore. Mike asks, since when, and she says a long time. Before the earthquake, today was supposed to be her wedding day. Mike asks where the groom is, but Elizabeth doesn’t know. She says probably caught up in what’s happening. She asks Mike if he’s okay, and he says ever since the doctor said the name of what’s wrong, he’s been scared. Elizabeth asks what he’s scared of, and he says not just the forgetting. That’s bad enough, but it’s his son. He doesn’t want him looking at him the way he’s starting to. Elizabeth says Sonny loves him. He knows that, but tonight all he wanted was to go to a place he’d known before, where he felt safe, but it’s not there anymore. Dude, I feel your pain. A lot of my old NYC haunts are gone.

Franco asks if this is how it ends? Jason is just going to leave him. Jason says like he left Michael and Sam. Franco says he was different then, and Jason says so were they. Michael was seventeen, and trapped in prison when Franco sent someone to rape him. Franco says it wasn’t supposed to go that way, and Jason asks if it was supposed to go that way with Sam, how he made her think he’d raped her. Franco tells Jason that he sick. He literally had no control over what he was doing; the tumor was eating his brain. Jason says he’ll never forget what Franco did to them. He told Franco that he would pay. Now’s the time. Sam yells for Jason. She steps into the office, and sees Franco.

Jason says he’ll meet Sam outside. Franco tells her that Jason is going to be her hero and avenge her. She says she doesn’t want to be there. She doesn’t care about him – never did and never will – but she doesn’t need Jason to avenge her, and neither does Michael. They’ve made peace with it, and she doesn’t want to go backward and relive the hate. She doesn’t want that for him either. She’d rather see Franco live than keep the secret of how he died.

Mike tells Elizabeth that whatever the thing is he has, he sees faces he’s known like they’re old friends, then others he used to care about seem like strangers. Elizabeth can’t imagine how hard it is. Mike can’t either, and it’s happening to him. She says he’s lucky to have family that are happy to help him remember things. He says she was always a sweetheart, and impossible to forget. She says he’s still a charmer. He says, for now, but probably in time, he’ll forget her; at least that’s what they tell him. It’s a damn shame. He takes Elizabeth’s hand, and tells her not to go feeling sorry. He knows the score, and that’s half the battle. She guesses it is. I am so impressed with Max Gail. He brings tears to my eyes.

Carly asks Nelle about the contractions, and Nelle says they’ve stopped – for now. Maybe she was right. Carly explains that Braxton Hicks contractions were named after the doctor who first diagnosed them. Nelle says she still has a lot to learn about babies. Sonny calls out for Nelle, and Carly says they’re in there, but the door is stuck. He says he’ll find way in, and Carly says, they’re saved.

Chase sees Dante at the hospital. Josslyn comes out in what Amy calls “hospital couture,” since her clothes were damp from the freezer. She tells Josslyn that she can go home now, but she doesn’t want to go anywhere until she knows her brother and Oscar are okay. Amy explains to Dante that Michael is being treated for a concussion. Chase says that he found Josslyn and her boyfriend in a freezer, and Josslyn asks why he didn’t help Oscar. Chase says he’s on another assignment, and adds that Oscar’s mother is a doctor, and said he shouldn’t be moved. Dante says he’ll be back in an hour, and Josslyn tells him to make sure Oscar is okay.

Kim does CPR, saying she might need Drew’s help. Oscar begins to breathe, and has a pulse. They warm him up some more, and he opens his eyes. Kim tells him to stay with them.

Michael comes out. Josslyn hugs him, and asks how he’s feeling. He says he’ll live. Nelle and Carly come in with Sonny. Carly says they were stuck in the gallery; the earthquake messed up the security system, and they couldn’t open the door. Michael says he got a concussion, but he’s fine. Josslyn tells Carly about being trapped in the freezer, and how a cop came and dragged her out. She start to cry, saying she’s worried about Oscar. Carly holds her.

Kim tells Oscar that he gave her a scare. He says it was his stupid idea, and thanks her and Drew for finding them. Kim says they’re his parents, and they’ll always come for him.

Carly asks Amy to check Nelle. Nelle thinks she’s fine, but she’s concerned about Michael. Griff says Michael needs some quiet and rest. Michael says now that he knows Nelle and the baby are okay, he’s good. Carly suggests that Nelle go with Amy to be checked out. Sonny says everyone is accounted for except for Mike. The police are doing everything they can, but have a lot on their plate.

Mike asks Elizabeth who the lucky guy is, and she says the last person she expected to fall in love with, but he’s perfect for her. Mike says if he’s worthy of her love, he must be someone special. Chase shows up, and Mike tells him to go away. Mike says he knows him, and to leave him alone – he hasn’t done anything wrong. Chase says he’s trying to make sure everyone is safe. He’s not there to arrest him, but help him. He’s been instructed to find everyone and get them to safety. Mike says he guesses his grandson told Chase not to mess with him, and Chase says Dante gave him a real earful and Sonny is a very powerful man. Mike tells him not to forget it. He tells Mike his family is waiting at the hospital, but Mike will only go if Elizabeth can come. She tells him to go; she’s waiting for someone. Chase says he doesn’t think they’re coming, but she says she’ll take her chances; she insists on staying. Mike gives Chase a word of advice; never mess with a bride on her wedding day. Chase says it’s the wisest advice anyone has ever given him. He tells Elizabeth to be careful, and don’t stay too long.

Sam and Jason lift the cabinet, and Franco slides out. I guess nothing is broken? He thanks them, and limps out the door. Jason doesn’t know how Sam can just let him go like that. She says you can get stuck in the past, or accept what happened and choose to move on, living your best life. That’s what he taught her. Maybe she can teach him something. His hate for Franco can’t exist, and the pain can’t be there. If something happened, what would Jake say? When Jake is old enough to understand, it will be his choice, and how he chooses to deal is up to him. In the meantime… Jason says, gotta move on. Sam asks if he thinks he can, and he says he’ll try for her. She tells him she has to get to The Floating Rib. She looks around for a dog tag Danny gave her for Annabelle that must have fallen out of her pocket.

Elizabeth says, he’s not coming, but there he is. They embrace.

Mike sees Sonny at the hospital, and they hug. Mike tells Sonny that this time Sherlock Holmes here managed to respect his elders. Sonny says he owes Chase another one, and Chase suggests he keep an eye on Mike. Carly asks if she can take Michael home, but he has to be admitted for observation. He insists he just has a headache, but Griff says concussions are serious, and he needs to be monitored. They’re also keeping Nelle overnight as a precaution. Michael wants to check on her, but Carly says he needs to rest. Griff asks Amy to take him upstairs. Josslyn wants to wait for Oscar, and Carly tells her not to leave the ER.

Drew hears someone coming, and calls for help. Dante comes in, and says good, Oscar is awake. His girlfriend will be happy. Oscar asks if she’s okay, and Dante tells him that she is. Kim asks if he’s ready to get out, and Oscar says he wants to see Josslyn.

Jason finds the dog tag, Sam tells him to hang on to it; he has more pockets. Suddenly, everything starts to shake again.

Tomorrow, Ned says the city is in chaos, Molly is admitted to the hospital, and Jason and Sam slide around Jim’s office. Speaking of which, whatever happened to Jim? Hopefully, a brick knocked some sense into him.

The Haves and the Have Nots

When last we left, David told Hanna that he knows Benny buried Quincy in Candace’s backyard. If he doesn’t turn himself in, David is having him prosecuted for murder.

Hanna says she doesn’t know what he’s talking about, but David thinks she does. She tells him to talk to her son. He says he tried, but he was busy having sex with Veronica. He thinks Hanna is smarter than her son. Hanna tells him not to be insulting, and he says it’s just an observation. She says he needs to observe his ass elsewhere. David says Benny needs to do what’s right. She’s a good Christian woman and should convince him. He says Candace is at the root of this mess; she got both of their sons involved. He doesn’t understand how she can still claim Candace as her child, and she says the same way he stood by wicked-ass Veronica all those years.

Hanna tells David that she won’t talk to Benny, and is through talking to him. He needs to talk to Benny. David says, for God’s sake, and she says for Him and David’s trifling wife. She doesn’t trust or like him. He lied when he knew her son was innocent. She thought he cared when she saw him cry, but it was only the Holy Spirit convicting him of lying. He’s asking that her son tell the truth, and she says she wanted David to tell the truth, but he didn’t. He asks if it’s biblical, and she says, an eye for an eye. He says that’s rather Old Testament, and she says it’s the one she’s leaning on right now.

Benny walks up, and asks what the hell David is doing there. Hanna says telling her about his ass sleeping with Veronica. David tells Benny to turn his ass in to the police, or he will. He tells Benny the police are looking for him. Benny says the body is inadmissible. David says he sees Veronica is training him well. Benny tells David to get out before he pisses him off. David says he can make it difficult. He tells Hanna that Benny is hanging out with Mitch, who comes from a mob family. Benny tells him again to get out. It dawns on Hanna that David wants to get her son into jail to get Jeffrey out, and tells him to get his trifling ass out; it’s about to get ugly. He says it’s already ugly. He tells Benny that Veronica isn’t to be trusted. Benny says he can’t trust David either. David finally leaves.

While flying in a tiny plane, Landon tells Charles that they’re looking good, but they’re behind in the red states. They have to turn the tide. He asks why they’re out here, and Charles says, they’re trying to turn the tide. Landon noticed Georgia on the list, and Charles says he’s trying to get more support there. Landon thinks Atlanta might be better than Savannah. He asks if Charles wants to see Candace, and Charles says he thought he made that clear. Landon says he’ll set it up.

Hanna tells Benny that he lied to her again. When she saw him at the hospital holding Veronica’s hand, she knew it. Benny says she called and wanted to talk about a case. He went to her house, and one thing led to another. Hanna says he’s talking like a stupid-ass man who doesn’t know how to keep it in his pants. She wishes his father had taught him morals and values. She thought she put sense into him when he was young. Benny insists he told Veronica it can’t happen again, and Hanna says he told her that last time. She asks what is it with the mob, and Benny says Mitch’s family is in the mob, but he’s not. Hanna wonders why David knows, and Benny says they had a run-in with each other. Hanna has one more question; what about the truck? Benny says he’s getting it on a lease. She says he’s spending time with Veronica, and now he’s talking about a truck. What credit does he have? She says he’s lying to her like about everything else. She has enough with Candace, and can’t take it from him. She says when she prays, she always finds out the truth, so he might as well tell her. Benny says he can’t do this. He’s just trying to get enough to get out of this woman’s house; it’s not theirs. Hanna says he’s following his sister’s path; she’s a liar, and whatever she has to in order to get ahead. It ain’t right; she can feel it in her spirit. He asks her to drop it, and she says it’s done.

Candace finds Landon waiting in her room. She asks what he’s doing there. He asks if that’s any way to talk to the man who got her out of jail. She says she doesn’t need him or Charles, and Landon says Charles doesn’t like to lose. She says she’s not an election or a prize. Landon says he’s going to win. Candace says she doesn’t care. Landon does; it’s his job. Charles likes her, and he’s not doing well personally. His debates have been off since he met her. (Really? It didn’t seem that way.) Landon doesn’t know what she does to men, but it messes them up. Charles is happy with her, but Candace says she won’t be used as a tool to prop him up. Landon has no problem with that, but has a problem with her not seeing it. She tells him get out. He thinks she should show some gratitude, and stop robbing old senators. It’s stupid and beneath her. Candace says this is who she is. She grew up in a tough place; it’s what they do. He needs to stop trying to help her and change things; this is her. He says it’s her pathetic way of dealing with her son’s death. She wants everyone to feel her pain. He tells her to cut the bullsh*t. There’s a better life waiting if she just changes a little. She wonders what she’d look like in the White House, and Landon says politics is the same thing. They screw people over, but are just dressed better. She tells Landon that she won’t see Charles. Landon says he’ll tell him, but don’t’ be surprised if he shows up.

Veronica yells for Melissa, finding her in the kitchen. She asks where her alcohol went, and Melissa says Veronica drank it all. Veronica asks if she’s drunk, and Melissa says she’s been drinking, but she’s not drunk. Veronica says she’s pregnant, and Melissa says she’s sure Veronica’s mother must have been drinking, and see how she turned out? Veronica grabs her, and drags her across he kitchen. Melissa throws up in the sink. Veronica tells her not to do it again, and Melissa says Veronica thinks she can keep her there to incubate her grandchild. Veronica says she won’t let Melissa harm the baby. Melissa says if Veronica thinks she’s going to let her do to the child what she did to her and Jeffrey, she’s sadly mistaken. Veronica tells her don’t do it again, and clean the sink. Melissa says she’s not cleaning anything, and Veronica smacks her. Melissa says Veronica thinks she can control her. Veronica says Melissa had one thing to do – have sex with Jeffrey – and she couldn’t do it. Melissa says he’s gay, and Veronica insists Melissa is the problem. Melissa screams, he’s gay, and says she can’t change it. Veronica says, watch her. Melissa is the problem. She’s trying to be nice, but Melissa is making it difficult. It could be much worse. Right now, she has creature comforts, space, and freedom, but she could lose all of that. Keep it up, and she will. Melissa says Veronica will never see baby, but Veronica says, quite the contrary. She will. Melissa wishes Veronica had died in the accident. Veronica says Melissa better be glad she’s not bruised or burned. She never forgets.

At the hotel, Jim is enjoying his time in bed with Gia, when Kathryn walks in. She says just as she thought, another whore. Gia asks who she is, and Kathryn says his wife. Gia didn’t know he was married, and Kathryn asks if the ring didn’t give it away. She tells Gia to get her clothes on and get out, unless she wants to get shot. Gia grabs her stuff she grabs her stuff and jets. Jim yells that Gia owes him. Kathryn says she owes him too; she should shoot him and put him out of his misery.

Kathryn tells Jim that they have a problem. He says they always do. She tells him it’s serious. The DA came to visit. They have the bullets, and there’s a match between Amanda and Jennifer. Jim says he should have known. He tries to call Sarah, but gets voicemail. Kathryn asks what they’re going to do. Jim doesn’t know, since it’s hard to think from a hotel room. He says the first thing is to testify against her. Maybe it’s not the right time for her to want a divorce; should he sign papers now? She repeats that it’s serious, and he says her cutting off his credit isn’t? He tells her to reinstate the money back into his account, then they’ll have something to talk about. She needs him more than she ever did in her life. Kathryn picks up the phone.

Gia goes to Candace’s hotel room, and tells her that the john’s wife was talking about shooting her. Candace tells her to calm down and breathe. Gia says she almost died, and Candace says, stop being dramatic, and save it for the johns. Gia says his wife jut came right in. Candace gives her a bottle of something from the minibar, and asks what happened. Gia says she just came in and said she was going to shoot her. Candace asks if she had a gun, and Gia says, no. Candace says she needs to toughen up. Gia isn’t sure she wants to be in this business, but Candace says, it’s her. She tells Gia to take a shower and find another john. Gia says she can’t do this, but Candace tells her that she can and will. She asks questions about the john, and realizes it was Jim. She asks if liked her, and how much he paid. Gia says he didn’t; she ran. Candace tells her never leave money behind. Even if his wife has an Uzi, always get the money. She tells Gia that Jim doesn’t like weak; he’s a dog eat dog kind of guy. She has to go back and get the money, and Gia asks what about his wife. Candace says she’s a joke. She can, and will, walk past that bitch. Gia says, okay; she’s got this.

Kathryn talks to Lloyd, and has him transfer $10 million to Jim’s account. Kathryn asks what they’re going to do, and he says he likes having obedient Kathryn back. No more nonsense about a divorce. There’s a knock at the door, and Gia comes in. Kathryn asks what part of get the hell out, bitch, she didn’t understand. Does she want to get shot? Gia just wants what’s hers; her money. Jim says he’ll meet at the bar, but she insists he give it to her now. Kathryn tells Jim to just let her shoot Gia. Jim gives Gia the money and she leaves. Kathryn says now that he’s done paying bills and whores, and he interrupts, saying he earned the money as a lawyer and on the bench. Kathryn laughs. He says they need to take a field trip. They’re going to talk to Wyatt about testifying. Jim will worry about the DA. They have to talk to their son. He tells her that she can go now or stay, but she’s not staying in that nasty-ass room. He says, thank you for small favors.

Wyatt is at the police station filing a report, and sees David. David says he’s there to see his son. Wyatt asks what’s going on, and David tells Wyatt to come with him.

Landon’s nameless friend tells him, welcome to Chicago. She’s working on Candace. Landon doesn’t get it, but she says they’re there to serve for the pleasure of the future president. She asks what’s going on with him, and he tells her not to say she told him so, but she does. She asks if he’s in love with Charles, and he tells her that he is. He doesn’t want to be, and she says she didn’t want to be involved with a nameless senator. I think it’s very appropriate, since she’s a nameless friend. Landon doesn’t know what to do, and she tells him, do nothing. Charles is a straight man, and if he did something it wouldn’t be good, so don’t do anything. Landon says Charles likes to drink, and they meet late at night when he’s wearing his PJ’s with no shirt. She tells him if anything happens, it will end badly. If Charles drinks, Landon has to drink less. She’s fallen into this trap. They part company.

Gia tells Candace that she got the money; the wife was bluffing. Candace says they usually are 99% of the time. Gia is excited about the money, but Candace takes it, and gives her one bill out of the pile. Candace says that’s her cut; now shower while she thinks of a plan for him. He’s a huge score. Gia says Candace took most of money, and Candace tells her, welcome to having a pimp. She wouldn’t make any money if her face was cut up. Candace tears the bill she gave Gia in half, and says complain again. She tells Gia to get her ass in the shower. She counts the money, and says, that’s all he paid? They have to talk.

David sees Jeffrey in the interrogation room. He tells Jeffrey that he’s working on getting him out. He knows it’s hard, but it will be okay. Jeffrey says David has no idea. David tells him that he’s brought someone in as his legal assistant. Wyatt walks in, and says, what the hell? Jeffrey says he didn’t do anything, and Wyatt asks why he’s there. David tells them nothing is supposed to be recorded there, but be careful what they talk about. He says he’ll be back.

Jeffrey tells Wyatt that Veronica had him arrested for Quincy’s murder. Wyatt wonders how she did that, and Jeffrey says he can’t say too much. He asks how Wyatt is, saying he seems fidgety. Why is he worried? Jeffrey is the one locked up. Wyatt asks if his dad will be able to get him out, and Jeffrey hopes so. Wyatt thinks it’s crazy that Jeffrey’s mom would do that, and tells him it will be all right. Jeffrey will testify against his mom, and he’ll testify against his parents, and they’ll be free. Wyatt has $9 million, and Jeffrey can come and live with him. Jeffrey has always been there for him, and he’ll do the same. Jeffrey says he’s tired, and Wyatt says, don’t be. Jeffrey can’t believe his mom did this to him, but Wyatt says he’ll give him money; they can move to Cali if he wants. they’re in the same boat. Jeffrey says she won’t accept him for who he is, and Wyatt says it will be okay Jeffrey thanks him. Wyatt gives him a hug, and… wait for it… Yep. Justin walks in.

Next time, the finale – Jeffrey says he doesn’t belong to Justin, Justin says he’s in love with Jeffrey, Veronica looks amazing with a new hairstyle, Candace tells Veronica she’s unstable, and Veronica asks Candace for David’s address.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

LisaR meets Camille for shopping. Camille is nervous. It’s been hard for her. She’s had several cancer surgeries, and her body has changed. It takes a while to recover from chemo and radiation. She says her boyfriend is very supportive, but she’s still had vaginal rejuvenation. LisaR thinks Camille needs to see how beautiful she really is; she’s a stripper at heart. They try on some lingerie costumes. Camille says LisaR has sexy down, and is helping her feel comfortable in her new body. In her interview, LisaR says the way to a man’s heart isn’t through his heart. She tells Camille she’s going to have a good time this weekend.

Kyle meets Erika for lunch. Kyle says her show proposal, Glass Houses, was bought by ABC, and she’s trilled seeing it in print. She asks Erika how Tom is doing and confuses the bar association with an actual bar. Erika asks if she’s worked things out with LVP, and Kyle says absolutely. Erika wonders how blown out of proportion it is. Other people get involved, and it gets out of hand. They wonder what they should get LVP for her birthday, and discuss getting her a flamingo.

Dorit is going over her line-sheets for the swimwear, and tells PK that she came home to a host of email. PK says he met with the swimwear team, and she has a couture range of swimwear, but he thinks it should be available to everyone. In her interview, she says he’s not a fashion designer, and doesn’t know what’s needed. For her, it’s creation and a part of her soul. He doesn’t like the name Nova he thinks it should be more general, like Beverly Beach, an imaginary place where they’d like to go and make out. Dorit didn’t expect him to turn everything upside down. She says it’s like if she changed Boy George’s tour schedule without checking with PK.

She tells PK about Kyle thinking she’d badmouthed LVP, and coming to her rescue. Dorit says she had no bad intention, and thinks they should get over it. PK wants her to make sure things are smoothed over, since LVP’s birthday is coming up.

Erika, Teddi and Kyle ride together to Camille’s charity event. Teddi hates driving. Kyle says it’s when she does most of her thinking. LVP calls, saying she’s on her way, and asks if they are too. She wonders if LisaR is coming, but she’s sick. They discuss what they’re wearing.

Camille welcomes everyone to her event. She shows the ladies her fragrance line. The profits from the new fragrance go to the women’s cancer foundation. LVP arrives, and says she loves the fragrances. They’re also in gorgeous containers Like Jay Strongwater trinket boxes. She wonders if they have something for insecure women. Dorit arrives last – no surprise. She wants to repair the relationship with LVP, and says she’ll inject LVP with so much Dorit love, she’ll explode. LVP needs space and time to make it work again. Erika asks what LVP is doing for her birthday. LVP says she’s going for a ride on her horse, having lunch with her husband, and getting ready for the party.

Dorit talks about when she was pregnant and not drinking. She would listen to other people, and wonder if she talked the same sh*t when she had a drink. Erika is like, yep. Erika asks if she and LVP have resolved things, and Dorit says they’re family. She tells Erika that she and LVP had a conversation in the park, and the next time she saw her, LVP was mad at her. She tells the group if anyone else wants to chime in, now’s the time. Teddi says she would be hurt if it was her. The way Dorit spoke about the situation would have hurt her feelings. Dorit acts ignorant, but Teddi says they’ve already discussed it multiple times. She shared the information with Kyle about how it would make her feel, and Kyle told LVP, and that’s all. She’s done talking.

Dorit doesn’t understand how Teddi can be done with something. She involved herself in the chain of events, and made it sound worse than it was. In her interview, Erika tells us that you can’t get in the fight, and then back up when sh*t hits the fan. Dorit says Kyle was made to believe she’d been bashing LVP. Erika thinks the word bashing is strong. In her interview, Erika says everything would be resolved if cards were on the table. Teddi needs to take ownership. In her interview, Teddi says it’s easy to blame other people for your sh*t, but you have to take ownership. If it bothers you, don’t say sh*t you regret.

The ladies have dinner, and Camille makes a speech. She talks about having cancer, and how it runs in her family. Her mother is in the hospital. This is for her mom, and all the women battling the disease. She thanks them for coming. LVP says it’s her pre-birthday night, and Ken wants to be romantic. Dorit walks her out, and asks to talk. They sit on a sofa, and LVP tells Dorit that she’s being overly dramatic. Dorit wants to make sure they’re in a good place. LVP says she’s a little hurt, but okay. Dorit wonders what Teddi said, but LVP says Teddi isn’t a guilty party; she wans to make that clear. Dorit says she’s been bearing the brunt of what Teddi said to Kyle. LVP says what Dorit said about her being a needy friend wasn’t exactly a compliment.

LVP has to go, but Dorit gets stupid, pinning LVP down on the sofa, and saying she loves her. LVP says straddling her does nothing, and Dorit says she wants to make sure their friendship is secure. LVP says she’s the one who’s sounding needy. Dorit says she loves LVP, and their friendship means the world to her. LVP says it’s fine, and she’s going, escaping Dorit’s grasp. Dorit repeats that she loves LVP, and LVP says, just not enough, before disappearing out the door. In her interview, Dorit hopes forcing herself on LVP makes her realize she didn’t mean to do anything to hurt her.

Teddi arrives at work, and meets with client Dani. In her interview, she swears that accountability coach isn’t a made up job. Every one of her clients is a success story. She motivates them, and makes sure they work out and eat healthy; she’s on their ass. She and Dani get into some sweat-intensifying suits, and slip into things that look like sleeping bags. Teddi asks Dani why she reached out, and Dani says she was working out, but knew she needed something different. In her interview, Teddi says accountability isn’t just her job; it’s who she is. She’s direct to a fault, but doesn’t make excuses for her actions. She thinks Dorit isn’t taking ownership. Dani asks if this counts as a workout. Teddi laughs, but says no.

Erika meets with assistant Mikey, and some game developers. Erika Jayne is digital. She’s going to be a character in the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game. In her interview, she explains that you arrive in Hollywood with nothing – her old life when she first came. She worked at a mall and a struggled to pay rent. It wasn’t easy, especially being a single mom. She came up the hard way like Joan Crawford; it wasn’t a joke. She gets teary when she sees her character. It is really cute. The developers are excited. Erika says it’s a great marker of success, and apologizes for having an emotional moment.

Kevin Lee sets up what will probably be an amazing party at Villa Rosa. LVP asks him if it’s Vanderpump ready; she’s going to have a very scrutinizing audience. In her interview, she says some people think she’s a control freak because she plans her own birthday parties, but they’re really more for her friends; something gorgeous they can come to. O.M.G. The shrimp cocktails are massive and a work of art. LVP tells the head bartender, or whatever he is, about Dorit’s distress over the wrong glass at Teddi’s house. They settle on a green tumbler to serve her wine in. The bartender says, sorry, everything else was dirty.

Teddi says the swans aren’t digging her. Everything looks unbelievable and totally English garden. Flowers everywhere, flowing gazebo curtains, greenery hanging all over the place. Teddi sips champagne as LVP tells her about the tumbler. Dorit arrives, and Teddi is dying laughing when she comes out with the tumbler. Dorit plays along, screeching that she won’t drink rosé out of this glass. In her interview, she says, very funny, and drinks wine out of a short glass. This was pretty good, and more lighthearted than usual.

They sit in an enclosed porch for cocktails. The table is exquisite, with a silver bowl of lemons and limes. I want to cry, and wonder how I can get LVP to adopt me. Erika gives LVP a scarf. Maybe Hermes, definitely expensive. Teddi gives her a bareback pack so she can ride without a saddle. It’s saddle shaped, but like a shag rug. LVP calls Teddi her new best friend. Giggy! Teddi says Dorit had better bring her A-game. Dorit gives LVP a bracelet with an eclipse on it. LVP asks if it represents the eclipse in their relationship. In her interview, Erika says every insult is sheathed in a joke. Camille gives her a headpiece from the lingerie store. Black mesh bunny ears with a lace veil. It looks like something Lady Gaga might wear. Camille also gives Dorit a gift – a ball-gag. Giggy! Erika says she loves it, and Dorit says she doesn’t think she can use it. Since she’s either pretending not to get it, or not getting it, Camille tells her she opens her mouth too much. In her interview, Camille says she considered a muzzle, but the gag was sexier. Maybe Dorit will learn to shut up.

They sit down to eat. Kyle arrives late, coming from an event she’d previously committed to. I get impressed by the shrimp cocktails all over again. LVP says it’s been an amazing year. She calls Teddi, Teddi Bear, and Dorit doesn’t look happy. PK says she can go from Teddi Bear to Teddi Bitch in an instant, and Kyle wonders what LVP calls the rest of them. Camille tells Kyle about the ball-gag, saying it’s not offensive; not like a strap-on. Dorit can’t believe she’s still harping on that joke, and Camille asks why this isn’t a joke? In her interview, Erika says if Dorit doesn’t laugh this off, she’ll crucify her. We flash back to the beginning of Pantygate. Camille tells Dorit not to take it seriously, and PK tells Dorit to move on. I can’t believe Dorit is being such a brat and pouting.

GIGGY! LVP tells everyone that she got Giggy eight years ago today. Giggy gives her Cartier earrings to the tune of seventy-five grand. Dorit tells her to hand them over, and LVP says she might have done that two weeks ago, but now she’ll have to wait. In her interview, Kyle says she told Dorit it was only a matter of time. LVP has finally found a way of punishing Dorit. The guests toast to the birthday girl, and LVP says she’s going to PUMP later if they want to join her. Dorit says she’s not in; not today. She thinks they’ve celebrated well enough. In her interview, she says she didn’t expect to be a punching bag. She’s never seen this side of LVP. Oh, grow up. She can certainly dish it out.

Kevin brings out the cake, decorated with pink icing roses. tall pink candles, and a ballerina. In her interview, Dorit says she was poked at nonstop, and she’s done. She tells LVP it was beautiful, thanks her, gets up, and heads for the door. Camille tells her not to forget this, holding up the ball-gag. PK goes after her, and LVP follows. She asks Dorit if she’s okay, and Dorit says, great, wonderful. LVP asks if it was the ball-gag, telling her it was a joke. Dorit says it was funny, and it’s all good, but keeps walking. In her interview, LVP says she will give a dig in jest, but she was sending a message that the relationship has taken a different turn.

LVP attends a photo shoot at Bella magazine for her jewelry. She says clearly, they got it wrong last time. We flash back Dorit complaining about the pictures taken of her. Pandora says she looked amazing. LVP says she made such a big deal about not looking great, the photographer pulled shots, and it’s a shame.

This season, Edwin drives like a madman, the girls step in mud, Erika talks about being kidnapped, a trip to Berlin. LisaR in underwear, Erika does a show at a sex club, one of LVP’s pets dies (not Giggy, thank God), lots of fights, and Erika calls Teddi a crybaby.

🗽 Bethenny & Fredrick is worth watching. As with Million Dollar Listing New York, the properties are lustworthy, and their personalities larger-than-life. Tonight, Bethenny went nuts on Fredrick, spewing venom like when she called Luann a slut in the Berkshires. What it boiled down to was her not being used to partnering in this sort of business. She kept getting surprised by figures that were not included in the budget, and called Fredrick a snake oil salesman. Who says that unless they’re in an old movie? Anyway, poor Fredrick was taken aback, and got very emotional during a subsequent talk with her. He told her that he might have confused her, but never lied to her. She thanked him for understanding where her viciousness was coming from.
