April 29, 2016 — Make It a Double GH Garnished with a Quote

Standard

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital — Thursday

Tracy argues loudly with Obrecht while a crowd gathers outside her room. Monica hears Finn making plans to leave and tells him she has the feeling there’s a change in the air. Obrecht comes out looking like she was in a prizefight. She tells everyone to get back to work and Tracy tells her that her reign at GH is over.

Maxie wakes Nathan up, asking him ruffled or naked? He’s like, wha…? and she shows him wedding cake photos. She wants to make sure there are no repeat performances and asks him to tell her about his first wedding.

Michael shows up late for Sonny’s birthday party. Sonny says at least he got a tan out of it and asks how Puerto Rico was. Carly and Sonny tell Michael that Sabrrrina made her own decision and he should move on.

Sam and Jason wake up to a rooster alarm. Jason wants to stay, but Sam says they told Danny they were only going to be away one night. They kiss and Sam decides one more night won’t kill them. I wonder if the person watching them will try.

Nathan tells Maxie it wasn’t much of a wedding and that they just went to the courthouse. He says it was a marriage of convenience. Maxie says he fell in love with Claudette later, so some of the memories might have changed to good ones. He says if she wants to avoid any comparison to Claudette not to cheat on him.

Obrecht goes on about how she changed things and made GH thrive. Tracy says HR might think otherwise, since the employee turnover rate is massive. Obrecht pulls her name tag off and throws it aside. Monica says there’s an offer on the table and Obrecht says a demotion is as good as dismissal. Tracy asks Monica if she wants Obrecht to stay on.

Michael asks Carly how many times someone had to save her from her own decisions. Sonny tells him Carrrlos is dangerous and he doesn’t want Michael anywhere near the situation.

Sam and Jason leave the barn. They see muddy footprints outside.

We segue into seeing Franco’s feet walking into his condo. (Nice editing!) Nina asks what happened to him and where has he been.

Maxie asks if Nathan is headed to the station and he says yes. She asks if he knows that she wouldn’t cheat on him and he says he’s sorry for mentioning it, since she’s the opposite of Claudette. Maxie says if Claudette had returned Nathan’s feelings, they would have stayed married. Nathan is unsure about that and Maxie wonders what if Claudette showed up today. Nathan says that’s highly unlikely, he loves Maxie, and doesn’t want this to keep coming between them. He tells her to get her questions out of the way, but she says she’s done and it’s behind them. If you believe that, I have some land in Florida that you might like to buy.

Obrecht is shocked that Monica is her replacement and says it’s nepotism at its worst. Tracy asks if Monica wants the position and she says yes. Monica says she wants to discuss a new position with Obrecht. Tracy suggests something janitorial. Obrecht says she won’t be made a fool of and leaves. Tracy says she’ll be back. As her first decision, Monica asks Finn to be a part of the staff. He declines.

Michael tells Sonnyy he’s not going to walk blindly into danger, but he’s not walking away from it either.

Jason says whoever was there was watching for a while. Sam wonders if it’s the barn owner. Jason says they got a good show. They both get phone calls and head out.

Nina asks what Franco was doing out all night in the rain. He says he had car trouble. She says all night? He says he’d been doing some painting, went out to a bar, and after a few drinks realized he shouldn’t drive home, so he ended up sleeping in the car. He says the car was stuck in mud and he had to push it out. She says he could have called her. Franco says they’re at a fork in the road and have to decide if they want to go down it together.

Finn says he likes it at GH fine, but when he came there, he was in the middle of doing some research. Monica says they’re known for their research. He asks for unfettered access to the lab and says he doesn’t play well with others. Monica tells him whatever he wants, he has it, and Finn says then they have him.

Sam meets Maxie at the bar. Maxie says her life is teetering on the edge of ruin and pulls some straw out of Sam’s hair. She tells Sam she needs a P.I. She says Nathan has been lying to her and she can’t marry him until she knows what he’s keeping from her and why.

Nathan meets Michael at the station. Michael wants to talk to Carrrlos, who has taken up residence in the interrogation room. Nathan advises against it, but Michael doesn’t listen.

Jason comes to Sonny’s office. Sonny tells him Michael is in trouble.

Nina says she didn’t sleep all night, worrying about him and thinking about them as a couple. He tells her she’s projecting and she says she’s trying to hold them together. She says it would help if he’d listen to her. Franco says she does whatever she wants anyway. He says he was’t trying to hurt her, but just cheer her up. Nina starts to cry and says she lost 20 years of her life, her baby and the ability to have another one, and she doesn’t know how to get over it. She says she needs understanding and compassion, and she doesn’t feel like he’s capable of giving that to her.

Franco just looks at her and she says all the time and effort in the relationship is down the drain. Franco says they can move forward, but she just needs to say good-by.

Nina says it’s not what she wanted for them. Franco says he can’t give her what she wants and it’s not going to change. Nina wonders if there’s no way around it. Franco says if there’s no way for her, then there’s no way for him, and he wishes he was enough. Nina walks out of the room. This is too sad. I love them together.

Maxie tells Sam about Nathan’s previous marriage and how he lied about it in the beginning. Sam says what else does she need to know? She says that’s what she needs Sam to find out. Sam says as her friend, she can’t take the case.

Obrecht comes to the station and Nathan asks what’s wrong. She wants to take him to breakfast, but he tells her he just got to work. He asks what’s wrong again. She tells him she’s no longer chief-of-staff at the hospital and starts to cry. Geez, this is a bummer of a show today.

Finn tells Carly that Tracy has been released back into the wild, and lets’ her know about the position he’s taking at GH. They sit down at a table in the MetroCourt, and he asks about Jocelyn. Carly says she’s doing fine. He says her concern was understandable, especially since Jocelyn had a kidney transplant. She says he doesn’t know the half of it, but then again, neither does she. When he asks what she means, she tells him GH is a great hospital, but it has a dark side.

Monica gets loaded down with a stack of files that Obrecht had been dealing with. The secretary tells Monica it’s all time sensitive and there’s a meeting in 20 minutes. Tracy looks over Monica’s shoulder and makes comments. Monica suggests scheduling a colonoscopy for her if she doesn’t leave.

Michael asks Carrrlos where Sabrrrina is. Carrrlos says she’s safe and last he checked, Michael was the furthest thing from her mind.

Nathan says GH will never have another chief-of-staff who works as hard as Obrecht. She says his support means everything to her and let this be a lesson to him. She says she said some things she regretted and confession isn’t always good for the soul. She tells him to say nothing about Claudette to Maxie.

Sam tells Maxie this isn’t a road she wants to go down if she loves Nathan. Maxie says she does, but she’d asked him what would happen if Claudette showed up and all he said was he can’t see that happening. She says she needs to know what he’s hiding and if Sam won’t help, she’ll find someone who will.

Carly tells Finn that Jocelyn’s kidney didn’t come from Jake. He says organs don’t just come out of nowhere, and Carly tells him Sonny is investigating it.

Jason says if Michael didn’t listen to Sonny, he’s not going to listen to him. Sonny says they have a different relationship, and if trouble comes along, Jason can also handle it.

Carrrlos says Sabrrrina is trying to forget about Michael. He says she sees him for who he is, a pig just like his father. I wouldn’t go that far, but the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Nina is carrying some bags, says she’ll be at the MetroCourt, and Franco can forward her mail. He says it’s her apartment, but she says no, it’s his and Kiki’s, and she’ll send for her things. She starts to cry and says she’s never broken up with someone before. Franco says you just put one foot in front of the other and keep on going. He says it’s never easy, but it’s something you have to do. She asks if he’s going to be okay and he says it doesn’t matter.

Nina leaves and Franco says he’ll be just fine. He knows exactly how to handle rejection.

Monica is approached by a board member who congratulates her. She says thanks for the vote, and he says he wasn’t on the team that wanted her, but they were voted down. Monica asks Tracy if she was behind Monica getting the job. Tracy asks if Monica will hassle her if she says yes, and Monica says she will, so Tracy says no.

Sam tells Maxie she’ll dig up the information, but says Maxie might be sorry they had this conversation.

Nathan tells Obrecht that if he tells Maxie, she’ll tell Dante and Lulu. Obrecht says if that happens, he’ll end up in Pentenville.

Finn tells Carly how the kidney became available might not be a happy story and is she sure she wants to know.

Jason tells Sonny that he doesn’t remember the work he did for him, but he must have retained muscle memory. Sonny says he does what he has to do when the family is threatened. Sonny tells Jason that Michael has it in his head that Carrrlos kidnapped Sabrrrina. Sonny says there’s no proof of that, but he’s worried it’s going to end badly.

Franco is sketching. It’s a crazy-looking pic of Nina. Although it could possibly be argued that Franco was going for a 60’s retro effect.

Sonny tells Jason he wouldn’t be asking him to do this if there was another way, but the more he tries to protect Michael, the more Michael pushes back. He says if Michael keeps going, he’ll end up in serious trouble.

Michael says Carrrlos must have Sabrrrina under lock & key. Carrrlos says even if Michael finds her, she doesn’t want him, because Sabrrrina is his wife now.

Tomorrow, Paul tells Anna she’s in even worse trouble (like that’s possible), Jordan asks Michael about Sabrrrina, and Finn thinks the kidney came from the black market.

General Hospital — Friday

Carly explains about Jake’s past to Finn and how everyone thought he was dead. She tells Finn they’d thought that Jocelyn’s kidney came from Jake, but then he was found alive. Finn says she might not want to know the truth.

Brad and Lucas discuss the upcoming nuptials. Lucas nixes The Floating Rib as a venue. Thank you. He thinks Brad is stalling because he keeps moving the date up.

Jordan tells Anna she has her full support. Scotty says he has a secret weapon and Anna says she was afraid of that. He tells Paul he’ll be sorry he ever messed with Anna, but Paul says she’s in more trouble than she knows.

Carrrlos tells Michael that he and Sabrrrina had a boy, and his wife and son are waiting for him. Michael says Carrrlos is looking at a life sentence, but Carrrlos says he’s getting out.

Sonny wants Jason to help Michael in any way he can. He asks if there’s a problem with that and Jason says it depends.

Brad says he’s not stalling. Lucas points out that the date has gone from May to October. Brad says he wants May, but Lucas doesn’t want city hall, which is the only place they can get. The MetroCourt is booked too, so Brad says they’ll find another place. They profess their love for one another. For Pete’s sake, do you mean to tell me that two guys who both make a decent salary can’t afford something outside of Port Charles? They’re supposed to be close to NYC too.

Carly asks Finn if he thinks Jocelyn’s kidney came from the black market and he says it’s a good possibility. Carly asks what his definition of black market is, and if some poor parent whose child died had to sell the organ. Finn says that’s one way, and she asks if he’s talking about murder.

Sonny tells Jason he was Sonny’s best friend. He says Michael’s life is potentially at risk. Jason knows good and well that Sonny wants Carrrlos dead, and he asks if he’s supposed to create the opportunity for that like he did when he worked for Sonny. Sonny says he has to respect that Jason is different now, but Carrrlos is going to use Sabrrrina as leverage and Michael could end up as a hostage or dead. He’s just asking Jason to stop him.

Michael asks if Carrrlos married Sabrrrina so she won’t have to testify against him, and Carrrlos says they love each other. Michael says if he loves Sabrrrina and the baby, he’ll tell Michael where they are so he can help them. Carrrlos says his lawyer took care of everything and he’s going to be getting out. Enter Alexis, who asks Michael to leave.

Paul wants to talk to Anna, but Scotty intervenes. Anna tells Scotty it’s okay, but he tells her it’s not smart. Paul tells Anna that she went out of her way to get arrested. She says she’s taking responsibility for her actions, unlike him, who jumps through hoops to avoid responsibility. He says Carrrlos will testify against Julian for a reduced sentence. Anna says the only way it’s going to end is with a jury deciding if all of their actions were justified.

Paul leaves and Anna asks Scotty about his secret weapon. She thinks they’ll need it. The hearing starts.

Anna pleads not guilty. Scotty petitions for Anna’s release and Paul says the people request she be held without bail. Judge Chua asks on what grounds. Paul talks about Anna’s training as an agent and how she could disappear. Scotty says she wants her day in court. Paul says her mental state has deteriorated since Duke’s death. He brings up a psyche evaluation by some doctor we don’t know.

Finn says Jocelyn seems healthy, but Carly says there could be problems down the line. Finn says that would be the case regardless. Carly says what if there are health complications from the kidney down the line?

Jason says he doesn’t want to stop Michael from doing what he feels is right. Sonny says Jason had one rule, he’d make his own choices right or wron, and face the consequences. It took Sonny a long time to get him to understand that sometimes you have to intervene if someone is vulnerable or comes up against more than they can handle. He asks again for help with Michael and Jason says why him?

Michael warns Alexis, saying he hopes she rethinks this for Molly and Kristina’s sake. He leaves and Carrrlos says Michael is just like his father, arrogant and full of himself. Alexis tells him the motion is dead because a witness came forward who saw him shoot Duke.

Anna tells Scotty she was perfectly composed during the sessions, but the judge says the report is cause for concern. Scotty says if Anna wanted to disappear, she could, but she believes in truth justice and the American way, unlike Paul. Paul says the evaluation speaks for itself and she’s deteriorated since Dukes death. The judge says her mental state makes her a likely flight risk. Andre comes in and says he has something to say about that.

Brad finds an open date on May 24th, but thats the Nurses Ball. Thanks for letting us know. Mark your calendars.

Carly tells Finn they’re friends now.

Sonny tells Jason that Michael will listen to him more than anyone else. Jason has doubts. Sonny says he feels badly for Sabrrrina, but she chose her own life and he doesn’t want Michael to risk his. He says he got a call that Michael was talking to Carrrlos and asks why Jason won’t help him.

Michael asks Jordan for an update on Sabrrrina. Why is this kid allowed the run of the station house?

Alexis tells Carrrlos about the eyewitness. Carrrlos thinks it sounds shady and Alexis says they’re looking into it. She tells him what Hale said and how he ID’d Carrrlos as the shooter.

Jordan says as far as they know Sabrrrina is hiding to keep from testifying. Michael asks if anybody thought she’s being held against her will. Jordan says there have been new developments as far as Carrrlos goes, but she’ll let him know if they hear about Sabrrrina.

Carrrlos thinks Sonny is behind it. Alexis says they have no evidence of that. Carrrlos says if she doesn’t figure something out, he’ll testify against Julian.

Carly tells Finn about her friendship with Jason and how it was never judgmental. She says she doesn’t see him often now, but she tries to pay it forward. He asks if that’s what she’s doing with him. She tells him he shouldn’t be eating a cookie if he’s diabetic. He tells her to butt out in a nice way. I’m thinking Finn isn’t diabetic and maybe he’s the reason for the drug dispensary audit. What say you?

Sonny says he’s just asking Jason to talk to Michael and tell him to stay away from Carrrlos. Jason says Carrrlos is locked up. Sonny says he owes Jason the truth and asks if he wants to hear it, but Jason says no. He says he has too much to lose to go back to being Sonny’s heavy.

Andre tells the court who he is and says he’s there to speak on Anna’s behalf. Paul objects because Anna and Andre are friends, and says that Andre recused himself from evaluating her. Andre says after thinking about it, he thought he might have input for the court. He’s sworn in.

Andre tells the court that Anna was referred to him by Doc because she was having insomnia. He talks about what happened with Anna nailing Carrrlos in South America and how she followed the letter of the law. He says she’s a person of honor and integrity, and upheld the law even when the system failed her. He tells the judge that Anna is brave and principled, and one of the sanest people he’s ever met.

Brad tells Lucas they’re officially at an impasse. Lucas says when two people are in love like they are, anything is possible. Brad needs to talk to Finn and leaves the search to Lucas. He welcomes Finn to the staff. He says he knows Finn requested lab time and asks what for.

Sonny tells Jason he’s always been free to walk away and he won’t ask him for anything again. Enter Carly. Jason tells Sonny sorry about the misunderstanding and leaves. Carly asks if Sonny is okay, and Sonny tells her what happened. He wishes he could reach Michael.

Alexis says the witness is a junkie and once she examines him, no one will believe a word he says. Carrrlos suggests Julian make the witness disappear, but Alexis says there are other ways of dealing with things.

Andre tells the court that whatever Anna says, they can believe. The judge sets bail at $500K. She tells Anna not to make her regret her decision. Anna thanks Andre. They hug and of course Jordan sees it.

Finn tells Brad he’s conducting some specialized research and prefers to work on his own. Brad says the lab is his responsibility and he doesn’t like anyone around when he’s not there. Finn says open access to the lab and confidentiality were part of the deal

Scotty tells Paul he’s a sore loser.Paul says Anna is mentally unsound. Scotty tells him not to go after Anna again, since he and Andre know the truth.

Andre apologizes for making things more difficult and says he had no right to doubt Anna. He says he meant every word he said to the judge and she’s a person of extraordinary integrity.

Michael goes back in the interrogation room, and Carrrlos says he and his father can go to hell. He says Sonny is trying to frame him. He says what’s bad for him could be good for Michael, and maybe they can make a deal.

Carly tells Sonny sometimes she sees flashes of the old Jason. She says she wants to hit Jason sometimes and Sonny says he’d pay to see that. She says she wants Jason to understand that he’s still the same, but Sonny says maybe he’s not.

Michael asks what Carrrlos could offer and says there’s not much he can do for him. Carrrlos says he’ll tell him where Sabrrrina is for a price — his freedom. He wants Michael to help him break out. Jason watches through the window.

On Monday, Sam asks Julian if he had anything to do with Duke’s murder, Jason interrupts Michael and Carrrlos, and Jordan slaps Andre. Girl, please.

Quote of the Week

No People’s Couch <sniff>, but I did pick up this little gem the other day:

You’ll worry less about what people think of you when you realize how seldom they do.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital — Thursday

Carly comes into Sonny’s office. She says he left so early, she didn’t get a chance to wish him a happy birthday. She pulls out a muffin with a candle in it.

Julian takes Alexis’s last bite of toast at the MetroCourt, but he’s really being nosey. He doesn’t get a chance though, because Olivia interrupts with Leo news.

Finn and Tracy are playing backgammon for real money and Finn is losing miserably. He gets Tracy’s test results which are excellent.

Jordan is on the phone asking for files, saying that Lomax is breathing down her neck. Andre comes into the station.

Paul visits Anna. She tells him as soon as she posts bail, she’s going after him again. He tells her she’s not getting out on bail.

Monica tells Tracy that Griff says she can go home in a few days. She says Tracy shouldn’t go full steam back to ELQ though, and had better come back for follow-ups. Tracy says maybe Finn can win his money back, but he says he’s leaving Port Charles.

Sonny and Carly share the birthday muffin. They talk about how it’s been a rough year, but Sonny is glad that Carrrlos is behind bars and says they’re closer to getting Julian.

Olivia tells Julian that Leo can stand now. She goes to get the video. Alexis tells Julian not to ask her any more questions about the case, if he wants marital harmony to continue, since she has to stick to attorney-client privilege.

Olivia turns around to see Ned, who is looking good. She says she didn’t know he was back in town and asks if Tracy is okay. He says she’s on the mend and asks how Olivia is doing. He asks to see pictures of Leo. She hands him her phone and says just keep swiping, since it’s all Leo. He says he heard she told Julian the truth and it must have been a relief. Olvia says she and Julian are co-parenting.

Alexis says she’s already pushing ethical boundaries, and tells Julian to quit pestering her. He says he has complete faith in her, so he’ll back off. Alexis leaves for work.

Tracy tells Monica she can’t let a doctor of Finn’s caliber slip away. Tracy says they need an infectious disease specialist on staff. Monica suggests making his position permanent. Finn hesitates and Tracy asks if his board game reputation means nothing to him. He says she’s right and steps outside with Monica.

Finn tells Monica that Obrecht is adamant about wanting him gone. Monica says the Quartermaine name pulls a lot of weight and she’ll change Obrecht’s mind. Obrecht overhears and asks just how she’s going to do that.

Carly says there are more birthday surprises coming. Sonny says he enjoys celebrating now because of the kids. He asks if there’s going to be cake, and Carly says she’s going to spoil him rotten. She talks about a surprise again and leaves.

Sonny gets back on the phone. He wants to know if there are any developments on Carrrlos.

Andre tells Jordan he’s there to evaluate a prisoner and doesn’t want to pick up their argument again. Jordan apologizes, saying she was just worried about Anna. She tells him that Anna is in custody now. Andre is shocked. Alexis comes into the station and wants to talk to Jordan about Carrrlos.

Paul says she can’t post bail without a hearing and he’s not sure if she’s of sound mind. He says if she was granted bail, she might be considered a flight risk, and she might also be considered irrational. She says she’s perfectly sane, but Paul says he’s having an evaluation done. Enter Andre.

Ned says Olivia seems happy and is glad that the co-parenting thing is working out. He says the reason they couldn’t be together was because of the lie. Olivia asks how long he’s in town. Ned says a few days, but maybe they could get together for a movie. They plug the new Captain America film. He says he won’t be there by the time it opens, so maybe they can get coffee.

Monica tells Obrecht they want to put Finn on permanent staff. Obrecht says Monica is a heart surgeon, not in charge of hiring. She says Monica’s opinion is irrelevant. Carly comes by and asks what Obrecht’s problem is.

Anna asks if Andre is working for Paul now. He says of course not, and he had no idea she was the prisoner they were asking him to evaluate. He tells Anna he can’t objectively evaluate her anyway, and asks what the blip happened.

Alexis asks if the file is all the evidence they have. Jordan says they have some statements, one of which is from Sabrrrina. Alexis says Sabrrrina might be biased and there’s little physical evidence. Jordan says by the time Carrrlos goes to trial, they’ll have more. Alexis is going to make a motion to dismiss.

Sonny hears Alexis on the phone and asks if she’s working hard to get the man who almost killed him off. Like Sonny is some kind of angel.

Olivia shows Julian the video. He asks her if something happened because she was gone a while. She says it was just hotel business. They’re both delighted about Leo standing as only parents of the standing baby can be, like Leo is the first baby to have done this. Olivia says Julian seems distracted. She asks if Carrrlos is on his mind.

Anna tells Andre she’s done with subterfuge, so she confessed, and she also told Jordan about Paul killing Sloane. She says Lomax got Paul out, and she thought once she was out on bail, she could continue her investigation. Andre says the more she escalates, the more desperate Paul will become and he’s capable of murder. She says he won’t hurt her, but she needs to get out and collect more evidence against both Paul and Carrrlos.

Ned pops into Tracy’s room. She says he’s a welcome sight in such a dreary place, but she’d rather see him around the breakfast table every morning. She says now that she’s not dying, he has even more of a reason to stay — ELQ is back in the family’s hands.

Carly asks Obrecht what she has against Finn. Jocelyn says he’s smart and cool and has a bearded dragon as a service animal. Obrecht thanks Carly and offspring for their input, but as chief-of-staff, she’s going to make sure Finn doesn’t get hired. Monica says maybe it’s time for that to change.

Andre says for someone who was just arrested for attempted murder, Anna has a big to-do list. She says the only person who can confirm that Carrrlos killed Duke is Sabrrrina. Andre asks what she plans on doing when she gets out. He says he last time he turned his back, she put Paul in handcuffs and took off for South America. He says it sounds like that’s what she wants to do again.

Paul is from the ignore-it-and-it-will-go-away school of dealing with things, and acts like nothing happened with Jordan. Jordan tells Paul that Carrrlos is acting like he’s not going to take the deal. Paul says Alexis would be negligent not to tell him to take it.

Alexis tells Sonny if he has evidence, to take it to the DA. Sonny says after a decade of Alexis lecturing him, she’s fallen off her high horse. He says her ethics went out the window when she hooked up with Julian.

Julian says he’s out of the business, so Olivia doesn’t have to worry about Leo. She says she’s worried about him and his past catching up with him.

Carly says she wanted to do a follow- up to make sure Jocelyn is okay. Finn says that’s a good idea and Jocelyn leaves to use her phone. Finn thanks Carly for having his back.

Tracy says Ned has shown interest in the company, but he says it was just to keep it out of someone else’s hands. He says she keeps saying “we” when she always wanted to keep ELQ to herself. She says the reason they got the company back was because of Jason and everyone rallied around her when she was sick, so maybe it’s time to be a family again.

Ned is shocked that Tracy is speaking so fondly of the family. She says she’s capable of change. He wonders if she can keep from bickering with Monica and Tracy says Monica always starts it. She tells Ned that Port Charles is his home. Ned asks if once she’s on her feet, she won’t scheme to get ELQ back again. She says there are things more important than power.

Carly says Jocelyn’s class needs to study an animal, but she has no pets. Jocelyn says Roxie is cooler than a cat or a dog and she’d like to observe her in her native environment. She asks if she can study Roxie and Finn says they’ll set something up.

Alexis tells Sonny what she does is none of his business. Sonny says the DA is going to get Carrrlos to flip on Julian, but Julian sent her to stop him from taking the deal. He asks where her ethics are now and she says the same place they were when she defending his guilty ass. She says Julian is out of the business now, unlike Sonny. Sonny says she’s defending a madman to protect him and it’s going to come back to bite her. He says be careful because there are too many people who have too much to lose. He doesn’t want his daughter to lose her mother because she was in the line of fire.

Anna asks Andre if he’s kidding her. He says her behavior is bordering obsessive. Paul comes in and asks Andre if Anna is fit for bail.

Tomorrow, Paul underestimates Anna, Jordan wants Andre to choose between her and Anna, and Nina gets a surprise.

General Hospital — Friday

Felix and Michael meet with Sabrrrina’s father. Michael says he’s hoping Senor Santiago can help them find her. He asks if she’s in trouble.

Nina is too young for this kind of hangover, but she has one. Franco says he’s happy she was home when he got there, even if she was passed out. He assumes she wants to work things out, so he brought her a present.

Nathan sets up a surprise party for Maxie at the MetroCourt.

Griff says he’s not cleared to see Anna. Jordan says that’s correct.

Andre says he can’t make the bail call for Paul. (Say that 3 times real fast.) He tells Paul he has a prior relationship with Anna.

Maxie tells Lulu she and Dante look almost as happy as they were when they were together. Lulu says there’s a reason for that and Maxie says it’s the best day ever.

Paul asks how he knows Anna, is he her lover? Andre says it’s none of his business how they know one another and he has to find another psychiatrist for assessment. Paul tells Anna even her friends are refusing to help her, but she says Andre is refusing to help him.

Jordan asks Griff if he’s family. He says no. She says she’s restricted visitation to family and counsel. Andre comes in and asks Jordan if she knew that the psyche evaluation was for Anna and tells her that he recused himself. Jordan acts stupid because bottom line, she’s jealous.

Michael says they’re worried because they haven’t heard from Sabrrrina, and anything Senor Santiago can tell them would be helpful. He says if she needed help, she’d call her tia.

Franco has presented Nina with a puppy. He says her name is Daisy, but they can name her whatever Nina wants. Franco pretends the puppy is saying “momma,” and Nina realizes it’s his substitute for a baby. She tells him he’s out of his mind. Pets never last long on this show, although I have high hopes for Roxie.

Hi Felicia! Felicia asks Dillon if he’s seeing anyone and Mac tells her to back off. She says spring is in the air and it’s time for Dillon to find love.

Lulu and Dante are obviously back together. Dante says he needs to talk to Nathan, but Nathan says he needs his help with another surprise. Maxie tells Lulu there is still the small matter of Claudette, and Lulu tells her to let it go. Maxie says that’s what she’s doing and she told Nathan she didn’t want him proposing to get over her.

Jordan brings Andre into the interrogation room because that’s where all meetings take place. She says how is she supposed to know where they’re headed when he keeps straddling the line with Anna. She asks if he wants to be in a relationship with her or Anna.

Anna tells Paul that he probably enjoys nothing more than having a strong woman look at him with affection, but it’s not her. She says he wants her to look at him all teary eyed and beg for help. She says Paul tells women whatever they want to hear and most of them are so stupid and needy they go along with it. She tells him he’s only motivated by self-interest and extortion isn’t a foundation for trust. She says this is the third time she wound up in custody because of him and he’s done everything to find her weakness. She says at some point he’ll have to admit defeat. He tells her to wait for her victory lap until she’s out. She says the situation is too far-reaching for him to manage. She says he doesn’t really know what Carrrlos is going to do. She says if he tries to manipulate the situation any further, he’s going to lose. Scotty comes in and tells her to shut up.

Michael thanks Felix for coming along. They visit Sabrrrina’s aunt. Michael tells her they’re friends of Sabrrrina’s and asks if she’s there.

Franco says he knows it’s not the same, but the puppy will give her unconditional love. He says he thought it was something they could do together and that she needed something to love. She says the thing she was willing to love was him. She’s shocked that he knows so little about her that he thinks a dog could replace a baby.

Lulu says Nathan’s heart belongs to Maxie and Claudette is in the past. Griff comes in and Maxie tells him it’s her surprise engagement party. She asks him to stay and hang out. Nathan has the lights lowered and gets down on one knee. Griff has a weird look on his face.

Anna asks Scotty why he’s there. He says Christmas has come early for her, or is it Boxing Day in her world? He tells Paul he can slap a restraining order on him for harassing his client before she’s been formally charged. Paul leaves. Scotty talks to Anna with an Australian accent, intimating that Robert hired him.

Andre says there’s nothing romantic going on between him and Anna and Jordan has no reason to be jealous. She says Anna is her friend, but she’s always in the room with them even if she’s not physically there. She starts babbling on and Andre silences her with a kiss.

Scotty tells her from now on, don’t engage with someone who wants to put her behind bars. She says she and Paul have a complicated relationship and he asks if she’s sleeping with him. When she says no, he says too bad, he could have used it. He says being an ex-spy, he’d consider her a flight risk. Anna says Paul is manipulating the situation and tells him about Andre.

Nathan tells Maxie that she’s his world. He says she signs a positive light on everyone and everything, and she’s everything he’s ever wanted. He asks her to marry him again and gives her a real ring. She says yes and tells him the first one didn’t count. Griff drops a bottle on the floor.

Paul walks into the party and asks Dillon what’s up. Dillon explains it’s Maxie and Nathan’s engagement party. Paul says he clearly chose the wrong restaurant for lunch and Dillon asks why he’s so upset.

Mac tells Nathan he’s proven his love to Maxie even when she didn’t want it. He says they’ve had their share of hurdles, but they’ve overcome all of them. He says he raised Maxie and he’s happy for both of them. Nathan promises he’ll spend the rest of his life trying to make her happy.

Maxie shows off the ring to Lulu. Lulu asks about Claudette and Maxie says it’s not over.

Sabrrrina’s aunt asks how Michael and Felix know her. Michael explains they’re friends of hers from Port Charles and talks about how highly Sabrrrina always spoke of her. She says she hasn’t spoken to Sabrrrina in months and wonders if she and her baby are all right. She says the last time they spoke, Sabrrrina said she’d let her know when the baby came and she hasn’t spoken to her since last fall.

Nina has to go to the engagement party and then she’s going to work. Franco says he understands the puppy is not going to replace a child. Nina says she was willing to let go of her pain and longing to be a mother for him, but now she doesn’t know who he is. She says he knows so little about her that he thinks a dog can replace motherhood for her. She says the dog is very sweet, but if he doesn’t get rid of her, they can both find another place to live.

Maxie tells her that she knows Nathan is committed to her. Lulu says it’s time to move on. Maxie says she agrees and that’s why she has to find out everything possible about Claudette. Griff wants to leave, but Maxie wants to introduce him around.

Dante wonders who Griff is. Nathan tells him that Maxie is convinced Griff has a secret. Dante asks if he thinks Griff is cool, but Nathan says that depends on the secret.

Griff meets Felicia and Mac and they talk about Anna. Felicia says Scotty is a shark and will figure out a way to get her released.

Anna tells Scotty about her relationship with Andre. She says Paul is trying to deem her incompetent and a flight risk. Scotty says he’ll be back and leave everything to him.
Franco says he’s sorry to Daisy. He says it’s you and me kid, and puts her back in the box.

Nina shows up at the party and congratulates Nathan and Maxie. Nathan asks if she’s okay. She says wonderful and starts to tear up. She says she hopes they have a slew of children in all possible genders.

Dante asks Lulu if she’ll come home for good. She says she thought he’d never ask.

Paul tells Griff he’s sorry about everything happening with Anna. Nathan talks to Griff, who can’t get out fast enough. Dillon says he didn’t know Griff and Nathan were friends. Nathan says they’re not, but he thinks Griff has a thing for Maxie.

Andre tells Jordan he hopes the kiss answers her confusion about who he wants in his life. She says it does. He leaves and she looks at her reflection. Outside, he confirms he’s not on call and says he has plans he can’t break. Scotty introduces himself and asks for a word or two.

Jordan tells Anna she understands why she did what she did, but in not telling her, she disrespected the office and their friendship. Anna apologizes. She says she’ll always regret shooting Carrrlos, but if she had it to do over again, she doesn’t think it would be any different. Jordan says she hopes Anna would include her. She says they need Sabrrrina.

Tia tells Michale and Felix she’s sorry she can’t be of more help. Michael sees a baby toy on the floor.

On Monday, Danny inherits a puppy, Julian pages Carrrlos, and Ric asks Sonny if he’s going to kill Carrrlos.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital — Thursday

Sonny is home. Carly is thrilled that he’s in one piece. She asks what happened and Sonny says the found Carrrlos and Carrrlos got what he deserved.

Dante comes to see Lulu and they kiss. A lot.

Laura finds Nicholas having coffee that he just put a shot in. The breakfast of champions! He tells her about selling the ELQ shares to Jason.

Jason has sent messages out for the family members to meet him at Tracy’s hospital room.

Finn comes to Tracy’s room, finding her eating a gourmet meal from Cook. She wants to go home and he says it should be soon. Finn asks what a healthy Tracy does with her time. She says believe it or not, she used to have a real job at ELQ.

Jason looks over the shares. Sam knocks at the door. She tells him if he takes the next step, there’s no turning back, and he says he thinks it’s the best solution for the family.

Laura asks if Nicholas sold the shares to Jason because of Hayden. Lulu and Dante walk in at that moment, and Lulu asks what Hayden made him do. Dante goes to deal with Rocco and Lulu asks Nicholas why he sold a company he worked so hard for. He says his business deals are none of her business.

Laura is going to meet a cryptographer at the MetroCourt (where else?). She found “Dr. K” online and Lulu thinks it sounds sketchy. Laura tells Nicholas to go easy on the booze and leaves. Lulu asks what’s going on with him.

Finn says he’s sure the loss of the company was difficult, but Tracy says it’s not permanent. Finn says he has no reason to stay in Port Charles, but Roxie has gotten used to the pampering at the MetroCourt. Tracy says she’d like to see him stay permanently. Monica comes in and Tracy suggests Finn become a member of the GH staff. Finn leaves.

Obrecht sees Finn in the hall and reminds him about a presentation he’s supposed to make later.

Sonny tells Carly that Carrrlos is alive and well, and in police custody. Carly is glad Sonny didn’t kill him, and Sonny says he wanted to. He tells Carly about how Carrrlos pretended to be the padre and what happened at the chapel. He says Anna talked him out of killing Carrrlos, but he also did it for her. He says she wanted him to do things differently and he was worried he’d never see her again when the gun was at his head. He says he loves her with all his heart and they kiss.

Jason meets everyone in Tracy’s room. (Ha-ha! She even has her monogrammed pillow on her hospital bed.) Jason says he’s the new owner of ELQ.

Carly says she knows how hard it was for Sonny. He said that Anna reminded him he could go to prison and he didn’t like that thought. He says the one good thing about being in the wheelchair is that it gave him time with his family and he realized how much he loved them.

Jason gives everyone back their shares. Tracy asks how he got them and Jason says he bought them. Monica balks and Tracy asks what the leverage was. Michael is like what difference does it make, ELQ is back in the family.

Lulu suspects that Hayden is behind the sale of the ELQ shares.

Laura goes to the MetroCourt to meet the cryptographer. It’s Doc! Oh cool, I love him. I’m also hoping Lucy isn’t far behind.

Doc says when he got her email from the cryptographer’s chat room, he never realized she was the Laura who sent it. She says she had no idea he was Dr. K. She asks if he quit being a psychiatrist, but he says cryptography is just a side gig. He tells her with social media the way it is, he doesn’t want to broadcast what he ate for breakfast. He wonders how long you have to get to know someone before you let your geek flag fly.

Finn is being anal with the MetroCourt chef about his eggs. Carly and Sonny watch from a distance. Carly says Finn walks to the beat of his own unusual drum. She introduces Sonny to Finn. He makes pleasantries and says he needs to check on Roxie and take a power nap. Sonny asks if Roxie is Finn’s girlfriend and Carly says no, she’s his service lizard.

Sonny asks about Morgan and Carly fills him in. He says he’d like to see Morgan come home. They both lose their appetites.

Finn gets to his room and gives himself a shot. I’m assuming he’s ill in some way and not on heroin, although that would be a great storyline.

Lulu says she’s not trying to judge Nicholas, but she wants to help him. She says if Hayden pressured him, they have to fight. Nicholas says it was a choice between Hayden and Jason and he chose Jason. Lulu says she can tell Hayden must have something on him and if he doesn’t have her arrested, she will. He says if she does, people she cares about will go to prison. Dante comes in and asks what’s going on.

Jason had everything divvied up according to Edward’s instructions. Tracy says that means she gets nothing and asks if Jason is going to run the company. He says he wants his old job back and for Michael to run ELQ. Everyone is all grateful. Michael asks him to work for the company, but he takes a pass. Monica asks Tracy if she can muster up some grace and say thank you.

Ugh! Breaking news, which is very rarely anything important. The NJ Turnpike is closed. I guess all those people watching TV in their cars need to know this.

Doc asks Laura if there was anything unusual about the reading of the will. Laura says it was on video and the items were weird or downright creepy. She tells him about the dagger left to Alexis. Doc asks if she’s concerned that Helena is manipulating her from the grave.

Nicholas tells Dante it’s just a sibling disagreement. He leaves and Dante asks Lulu what she thinks is going on. Lulu tells him about Hayden really being Rachel Berlin. She says Hayden was trying to swindle Nicholas out of his stocks and she thinks Hayden has something on him. She asks if Dante can arrest her. For what? Nothing happened.

Tracy says she’d rather not be coerced, but says thank you to Jason. She says that even though Edward didn’t want to forgive him, she’s certain that Edward is smiling down on him now. Jason and Sam leave, and Monica says she knows it wasn’t easy, but Tracy says she meant what she said.

Carly tells Sonny that Finn just ordered a couple of cases of distilled water and wonders what he wants it for.

Finn lies down after his shot and goes to sleep.

Michael joins Carly and Sonny, and tells them about ELQ and that Jason put him back in charge. Michael says Jason made Nicholas an offer he couldn’t refuse and that he thinks Jason is really starting to care about the family. One of the staff whispers something to Carly and she says she has to go.

Michael tells Sonny he knows who he is and he’s part of both families, but he’s the man he is today because of Sonny. Sonny tells Michael about Carrrlos. Michael asks about Sabrrrina, and Sonny says sorry, she wasn’t there.

Dante says a crime wasn’t committed. Lulu says she can’t believe Hayden is going to get away with it. Dante wonders who Nicholas was talking about when he said other people would get arrested if Hayden did.

Laura and Doc toast to solving the puzzle.

Sonny says they found Carrrlos in Ecuador but no Sabrrrina and no baby. He says Carrrlos said they were in Puerto Rico, but consider the source. Michael says no point in thinking Carrrlos would tell the truth.

Sam and Jason arrive home. Sam can’t believe Tracy actually told Jason thank you. Jason gets a call from Diane. He has to deal with his offshore accounts in person, so he’s got to fly to The Keys right away. He asks Sam to come along.

Dante asks Lulu if they can stop going down this rabbit hole right now. He says Nicholas knows she’s there for him and that’s the best she can do. They go to eat cookies with Rocco.

Jason says his business shouldn’t take long and they could have some fun. Sam says getting a sitter would be impossible, but she’d like to throw him a party. Now let me get this straight. She can’t find a sitter on such short notice, but she can pull together a party in the same amount of time.

Monica says she knows how much ELQ means to Tracy. Tracy says she’s glad she lived long enough to see it back in the family. She tells Monica she’s proud of Jason. Tracy makes a promise to Edward they’ll never lose ELQ again.

Obrecht ambushes Monica. She says Dr. Finn never showed up for the lecture he was supposed to give. She texted and called, but he never responded. She says he’ll be on staff over her dead body.

Carly is worried because Finn requested a wake-up call and isn’t responding. She leaves. Sonny tells Michael if Sabrrrina wants to be in touch, she’ll call him. Michael says once you’re involved you can’t just walk away.

Carly knocks on the door to Finn’s room. There’s no response. She obviously doesn’t want to, but she lets herself in. She sees him passed out and his works on the floor next to the couch.

Tomorrow, Anna tells Jordan about shooting Carrrlos, Nina asks why Nathan won’t be truthful with Maxie, and Carly wonders what Finn did to himself.

General Hospital — Friday

I came in a little late, so…

Julian tells Ava  that Carrrlos has enough to put him away for so long, he might never enjoy a spring day again.

Anna waits in the interrogation room. Paul tells Jordan that as the DA, he should be present for questioning. Jordan tells him Anna isn’t under arrest, she’s just talking to a friend. Jordan goes in and Anna tells her about shooting Carrrlos. She says Carrrlos took her future with Duke away, and he was right in that he would have ended up going free. She says she couldn’t stand the perversion of justice, but there was no question that it was attempted murder. Jordan says it was a set up and that she knew something was wrong.

Anna says she understands she’s going to be arrested. She tells Jordan the only reason she can accept it is that she knows Julian will go down. Jordan asks what Paul’s connection is. Anna says that he knew if Carrrlos came back, he had a lot on Paul. Jordan asks what Carrrlos knows.

Obrecht walks into Finn’s room. Carly says they’re having a private conversation, but Obrecht wants to know why Finn didn’t show up for his lecture. Obrecht looks in Roxie’s cage and says Roxie is waving her arm in submission to her. Carly isn’t surprised. Obrecht asks how can she trust Finn to be responsible for patients when he couldn’t even make the lecture. Carly tries to defend him, but Finn says Obrecht is right. Obrecht says as soon as he’s done with Tracy, he’s leaving GH. When Obrecht leaves, Carly asks why he didn’t tell her he’s a diabetic.

Franco tells Kiki he doesn’t think his natural child would be as cool as her and he probably wouldn’t make a good father. Kiki says parenting isn’t for everyone, but she wishes she could help with Nina.

Nina says a lie of omission isn’t like Nathan. She asks if the subject of exes didn’t come up. Nathan says no, and later he didn’t want to burden her with the details. In case any men are reading this, here’s a clue. What you did is always minor in comparison to you not telling us what you did. Nina says as a kid, Nathan would confess to things he didn’t even do, so why was he less than truthful with Maxie?

Maxie apologizes for being rude to Griff. She says his father having been murdered must be traumatic. Griff says Duke died before he had a chance to meet him, and explains the history. He says the murderer is now in custody. Maxie says they have Duke Lavery’s killer in custody and asks if it’s the same guy. Griff says Duke is his father.

Ava asks what Julian is going to do now that Carrrlos is in custody.

Anna tells Carrrlos she had her best night’s sleep since Duke’s murder. She says the DA and Commissioner are going to question him. She says she knows she’ll be arrested afterward, so to do what he needs to do. I have the funny feeling Carrrlos isn’t going to do anything. I think he’s going to hang on to this information so he can use it forever.

Nina won’t respond to Franco’s calls or texts. He wants to find her and Kiki says she’ll come along. She says she wants some fresh air, but Franco thinks she doesn’t want to be by herself. She tells him to go ahead, she’ll stay, but there’s a loud noise and she freaks.

Nathan calls Nina out on lying to Franco and then shutting him down. She tells him he’s projecting. She notices that Maxie was researching Claudette on her tablet.

Maxie tells Griff about Duke and says Griff would have liked him. She says she doesn’t believe that love dies, and she tells him about Georgie being murdered. She says she’s never going to forgive Georgie’s killer like Griff will probably not forgive Carrrlos.

Carrrlos says he wants to talk to the DA. Anna and Jordan leave. Paul tells Carrrlos that he’s charged with the murder of Duke and the attempted murder of Sonny. Paul says he’ll go easy if Carrrlos turns on Julian.

Ava says she’ll never forgive herself if Julian goes back to the mob. He says no worries, it’s not that big a deal and just temporary. He adds too bad he didn’t find Carrrlos first though.

Finn says he’s sure Obrecht would frown on his condition. Carly says that’s discrimination and Finn says he doesn’t want to discuss his health problems with anyone. Carly says when he checks out, she’d better not find any stray worms or crickets, or he’s going to be charged with a hefty bill. Finn says she wouldn’t, would she? She makes an oh-come-on face at him.

Franco calms Kiki down. She apologizes and he tells her she doesn’t have to say she’s sorry to him.

Nina says she doesn’t know what Nathan is hiding, but he’d better come clean with Maxie. He says she’s a fine one to talk, but she claims she’s going to come clean with Franco. She tells Nathan to tell Maxie he just wants to see her happy, he’ll do anything to achieve it, and that he doesn’t want to lose her.

Griff says forgiveness is a conscious effort to lose all resentment toward whoever hurt you. He says now that Carrrlos has been captured, he’s made losing Duke reality.

Jordan says it’s good Carrrlos didn’t say anything about Anna. Anna says just give him time.

Carrrlos says if he goes against Julian, he’ll be a target. Paul says he’ll be protected and to just give him enough to put Julian away.

Julian is concerned about what Carrrlos is going to say. Ava says there’s only one way to stop him from talking. Julian is like, wait a minute, I thought you wanted me out of the business. Ava suggests he talk to Hammer. Julian says he’ll think about it.

Finn says thank you to Carly and asks her to keep his health problems between them. She says no one is going to hear about it from her and leaves. Finn tells Roxie not to look at him like that and he knows he screwed up.

Nina comes home to Franco. He says he was worried about her, but it doesn’t matter now that she’s home. She says she had a talk with Nathan and has come to a decision about them.

Griff has to check in with the hospital and steps away from the table. Nathan comes in and tells Maxie that he would sacrifice everything to make her happy as long as she promises they can spend their lives together. He asks her to marry him. Griff sees Nathan down on one knee and says, “Oh my God, it’s him.”

Paul leaves the interrogation room and Jordan asks what’s going on. Paul says Carrrlos wants his phone call to call his lawyer. He says it’s anybody’s guess what Carrrlos is going to say.

Carrlos calls Julian. Julian asks if he said anything. Carrrlos says Julian will find out when he gets there.

Tomorrow, Julian tells Alexis that everything they fear is coming to pass, Sam asks Kristina why she’s avoiding Sonny, and Nina suggest that she and Franco split town.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

I hope you got a chance to watch Vanderpump Rules: Secrets Revealed. My thanks to Bravo for changing the name of these extra shows from Lost Footage. My intelligence is insulted enough just watching these programs. Do they really think I believe they suddenly found a bunch of film behind the refrigerator like it was my prom pictures? (True story. My father found them two years after I moved away from home.) Often, Bravo saves the best for last, and the Vanderpump Rules show had a lot of fun scenes and behind-the-scenes clips. And a lot less angst. Most of it was everyone – gasp! – getting along.

General Hospital — Thursday

Ava wakes up on the couch coughing up a bloody feather and covered in blood. It’s a dream. Which is what I figured when she coughed up a feather.

Alexis comes home and Kristina asks how the business trip went. Alexis tries to make something up, but Kristina says she knows exactly where she was.

Paul goes to Sonny’s place. Carly tells him Sonny isn’t there and he says he’ll make do with her.

Anna is packing her weapons. She’s on the phone (I’m guessing with Robert), saying that she’s personally hunting down Carrrlos. Sonny is at the door.

Paul says he’s there about Carrrlos. Carly says they believe he’s on the run overseas. Paul says his office is doing everything they can to bring him to justice. He says they must be impatient to put this to rest. Carly says her only concern is Sonny’s safety.

Scotty calms Ava down. She tells him he’s not much use and he’s supposed to be protecting her. He says he didn’t know it was an invitation to her bedroom, and that he didn’t see anything. She asks what good he is and he says he asks himself that all the time.

Julian shows up. Ava doesn’t want to go back in the bedroom, so he asks Scotty to tell him everything that happened. Paul calls Ava and asks if she’s all right. She says no, that she just got another threat, but Paul’s phone isn’t working right. He says out loud it’s been on the fritz since — and remembers Anna borrowing it.

Sonny tells Anna she needs to keep busy and one way is tracking Carrrlos. She says the bug they planted must have been damaged because they couldn’t track him. Her suitcase pops open and Sonny asks if she’s expecting trouble or going to start some.

Kristina says that she called Parker and asks why Alexis can’t stay out of it. Alexis says she thought she knew her own daughter better than Kristina knew herself and she was wrong.

Sam and Jason bask in the afterglow. He asks her if she has regrets. She says that depends. They make silly talk and start kissing. Jason asks what’s on Sam’s mind. She says she was wondering if he remembered anything. He says no and that it felt natural, yet like a first experience, the best of both worlds.

Kristina asks what went on with Parker. Alexis says she doesn’t remember all she said, but she did ask if Parker influenced Kristina. Alexis says Parker set her straight, so to speak. Ha-ha!

Ava asks Julian what he thinks. He says a lot, but he doesn’t want to say in mixed company. Scotty goes to get bagels and find a final resting place for Tweety. Julian wants to get Ava a real bodyguard. He says the source of the message is obvious.

Anna tells Sonny to be honest for once and she knows that he has no intention of bringing in Carrrlos alive. Sonny says his goal is to send Julian to prison and once Julian is locked up, he won’t be disrupting Sonny’s business and family. Sonny says they have the same interests and there’s no use in Carrrlos being dead. Anna says he’s persuasive in Port Charles, but she’s not sure how he’ll be face to face with Carrrlos. They talk about the possibility of Carrrlos being in Ecuador. Sonny says he’ll meet her on the tarmac. Anna says if he so much as looks at Carrrlos funny, she’s going to have a problem with him.

Sonny leaves. Paul is on the porch. He asks Anna why Sonny was there.

Jason asks if it was always so intense between them. Sam says it was always quality, but this time it was different. She says she’s trying to be cool. Jason asks that they agree not to tiptoe around each other. Sam asks what they should tell other people.

Ava assumes Julian thinks Sonny did it and says she’s going to lay waste the Corrinthos organization. Julian says she has no back-up and Ava says she thought he smoothed things over. He says he’s working on it, but the organization doesn’t think they owe her any loyalty. He says Sonny didn’t put the bird in her bed. He might want her gone, but not dead.

Anna says Sonny is a friend of the family and it’s none of Paul’s business. Paul says her ongoing association with him makes it look inappropriate for his office. She says she’s going on a trip. Paul is wise to it and says her quarry is Carrrlos, and he knows Sonny is coming along.

Sonny tells Carly he has to leave for something important and time is of the essence. Carly thinks other things are more important than going after Carrrlos and that she knows that’s what he’s doing.

Alexis says no matter how many mistakes Kristina has made, she’s made more. She says that it’s her own fault that Kristina didn’t confide in her, and that somewhere along the line she made Kristina feel unsafe. Alexis says Kristina can always rely on her now and forever, and she’s sorry.

Jason wonders who would care and Sam says her sisters for one. He says they’ll tell people they’re starting fresh, rather than starting over.

Paul asks if Anna has allied herself with Sonny. She says she has no clue where Carrrlos is, since the only contact he’s had is with Paul. Paul says maybe she’s heard something. Anna says Paul is scared that Carrrlos will bargain for a lighter sentence by giving Paul up. She says she’s made peace with the fact that she might have to pay for what she did and suggests Paul do the same.

Kristina says she forgives Alexis and Alexis asks what they can do to keep communication open. Kristina says she’s afraid to talk to Alexis because whatever she says, she runs into a wall of Alexis’s expectations. Kristina says she doesn’t know who she is anymore. Alexis says she’s confused too, so they might as well be confused together. Kristina says it sounds confusing but good. Alexis asks what they’re going to do about Sonny.

Carly tells Sonny to let the Feds handle it. He says Carrrlos is in a place the Feds can’t reach. He says he has to do this personally. Carly says he doesn’t know what’s waiting for him, and that Carrrlos could have something bad waiting. Carly says with Sonny out of town, what if Ava uses the opportunity to take Avery?

Julian says he thought he’d handled things and Ava says the bloody feathers in her bed prove otherwise. She wants names and she wants to make them pay. Julian says with what? He says they look at her as a snitch whether she was or not, and she’s on her own. She asks if he’s deserting her too.

Kristina says she’s not sure anything needs to change with her dad. Alexis says Sonny loves her, but Kristina says at this point, at best it will baffle him.

Sonny says Ava is no match for Carly and she isn’t going to do anything. Carly says she has a bad feeling, especially after the last time Sonny came up against Carrrlos. He says everything will be fine, he has to do this, and to have faith in him.

Ava says she still has one card left to play — Paul. Julian says Paul has proven himself to be untrustworthy. She says he’s all she’s got and he cares about her. Julian says it will make her more of a danger if she gets police protection. He says he’s not going anywhere and nobody goes after his sister. He says now he knows what measures to take. She asks what he’s going to do and he says the next time they see one another, this will be over.

Anna says she’s not going to sit by and watch Carrrlos commit more crimes. Paul goes on about what it will do to their families if they end up getting locked up. She says her family deserves better than that and she wants to live in truth rather than die a liar.

Sam wonders what there is to eat. Jason says he has ketchup packets. She doesn’t want to face the world yet, so he says they’ll order in. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Carly and Jason says not right now, but she says it’s important. Sam comes out and everyone looks at each other.

Julian meets Hammer. He says he didn’t get his point across and he wants his sister left alone. He says whoever didn’t back off is going to be sorry.

Scotty comes back with the bagels. Ava thought maybe he got distracted by a tennis ball or chew toy. She tells him he’s fired as her bodyguard. He says she’s not dead, so his job was done, and she tells him to get out. He says he always lands on his feet and to enjoy her alone time. He tells her not to get her kids any pets. Ava tells him to wait.

Hammer says he delivered Julian’s message, but can’t help it if they weren’t persuaded. He says to tell them it wasn’t a suggestion, it was an order. He’s going to be running things effective immediately. I thought he already was.

Alexis says she won’t tell Sonny anything, although she suggests Kristina talk to him. Kristina says she’s rather have her father not know the truth than have no father

Sonny comes downstairs to see Carly is gone.

Carly apologizes for interrupting. She says Sonny needs Jason.

Paul says no one, least of all Duke, would want her to throw her life away, and her grief has impaired her thinking. He says since she’s incapable of thinking clearly, he’s going to do it for her. He starts to call the commissioner and Anna chloroform him. Since she just happens to have that handy.

Anna says she needs protection from no one.

Nina and Franco turn up the heat, Tracy comes out of surgery, and Andre comes to see Anna.

General Hospital — Friday

Nina has oysters, champagne and chocolate on tap. Franco comes in and says he thought she said there was a fire. She asks him if he can feel the heat. Woo-woo!

Dillon and Monica are fretting over Tracy. Griff says he was able to remove whatever and Finn is in her room. Finn is encouraging her to wake up.

Carly tells Jason that Sonny is going after Carrrlos.

Sonny tells Michael that he’s going away.

Paul lies on Anna’s floor, unconscious. Anna says he brought this on himself.

Finn is frustrated. He says since Tracy can’t hear him anyway, he’s gotten attached to her. He tells her he wants to win his Monopoly money back. Her eyes flutter open. He tells her congratulations she survived and has time to change her evil ways.

Anna tells Paul they’re both going to brought up on charges, but it will be worth it. Paul is still out, but his mouth is duct-taped shut. Before Anna can get out the door, Andre is knocking.

Sonny says he knows Dante has been asking questions and the less Michael knows the better. Michael says it doesn’t matter because he’s coming along.

Carly wants Jason to stop Sonny. She says he’ll listen to Jason. Jason says he used to, but why should Sonny take his advice now? Carly says that to Sonny, he’s still the same man.

Tracy says she feels like she was hit by a bus. Finn says she was; it’s called surgery. She doesn’t remember much, so he tells her about the seizure and that Griff performed the operation. He says she made it and she thanks him.

Dillon starts to think the surgery was a mistake. Griff tells him there was no other option. He and Monica tell Dillon she should be fine. Finn comes out and tells them Tracy is awake and that Griff did good work. He says she has a ways to go though. Griff asks Finn if he’s okay.

Dillon thanks Griff and tells Monica he’ll meet her in Tracy’s room. Monica asks Griff if there will be permanent behavioral changes and he says there’s no way to know yet.

Nina tells Franco to drink up and get ready for round two. He asks what’s up and she says she’s very happy. She thinks Dr. Lee will tell her she’s not going to have a problem getting pregnant. He says he thought they’d agreed they’re not having a baby. Nina says she figured she might as well finish the exam and they might have created a bundle of joy just now.

Andre says that Jordan has launched an investigation and asks how Anna feels about that. He thinks Carrrlos might say something. He asks if he can come in, but Anna says no, it’s not a good time.

Sonny says if he brings Michael, Carly won’t forgive him. Michael says he’s old enough to make his own decisions. Sonny says he needs Michael to help with Carly and the kids, adding there’s something Kristina isn’t telling him. He asks Michael to visit Morgan, but not let him know what’s going on. Michael says what if he refuses. Sonny says he won’t because he knows how important it is and he’s the responsible one. Sonny says he’ll look after Sabrrrina and the baby. Michael tells him to be careful

Carly tells Sam what’s happening and that she wants Jason to talk Sonny down. Carly begs Jason to talk to Sonny and Sam says it’s up to him.

Franco says he can’t believe Nina went behind his back and what part of not wanting kids doesn’t she understand. She says she thought he was just trying to spare her feelings in case she was infertile. He says he enjoys being around children, but the damage he sees day in and day out confirms his feelings about not having them. The phones rings. It’s Dr. Lee.

Dillon and Monica go in to see Tracy. Dillon says he and Ned could barely keep it together and even went to the chapel to bargain with God. He tells Tracy he loves her and that Ned is on his way. Monica tells her being the most hard-headed woman in the world has helped her this time. Tracy wants to tell her something. She tells Monica she loves her, and I tear up.

Finn is looking at himself in the bathroom mirror and he doesn’t look well. He needs his shot. He can’t get into his locker and gets frustrated. He finally gets it open, but Griff interrupts. He says he wants to thank Finn. Finn says this doesn’t make them buddies.

Jason goes to Sonny’s place. Sonny says he’s welcome there any time, but he’s on his way out. Jason says Carly talked to him. Sonny says unless he wants to help, they have nothing to say.

Andre asks Anna if she’s really in a hurry or is it about Jordan. Anna is like, huh? and he says maybe she’s uncomfortable with them dating, since Jordan is uncomfortable with his and Anna’s friendship. Anna says not at all, but she is in a hurry. Andre starts to babble. Paul makes a noise and Andre asks what that sound is.

Finn brushes Griff off. Griff says he just wanted Finn to know how grateful he is. He asks if Finn is coming down with something and Finn says what he needs is time alone. Griff says after a surgery he likes time by himself to thank God for getting him through. Finn says if he believes God is in the operating room, God help them all. Griff tells Finn if he needs to talk, he’s there for him, and he’ll leave God out of it.

Monica and Dillon think it’s the medication talking. Tracy says she should have said something before the surgery, but Monica means the world to her. Michael comes in and they give her time alone with him. Michael says he’s glad she’s still here, and she says she wasn’t going to let some worms take her out.

Anna makes up something about Emma being sick. Andre asks her if she wants him to check Emma out.

Carly asks if Sam and Jason are back together. Sam says they’re where they need to be for now.

Jason says he told Carly that Sonny wouldn’t listen, but he promised to try. He says Carly loves him and is afraid of losing him. Sonny says he can’t change and she knows that. Jason says that’s not true because he changed. Um…that’s probably not a good choice for a comparison.

It’s bad news from Dr. Lee. Nina is crying. Franco says he’s sorry, but Nina says he must be relieved. He says he loves her and she says if he did, he’d want her to have his baby. She says good for him, he got what he wanted, and how dare he comfort her.

Anna says she already went to a pediatrician. Andre keeps insisting on helping her. She says she doesn’t need any help and she has to go. Andre says he knows she’s lying, but also knows there’s no point in asking more questions. He says he hopes she trusts him enough one day to let him know what’s going on.

Anna apologizes to Paul before knocking him out again.

Sam says she knows Carly wishes that Jason wold remember everything so it could go back to the way it was. Carly says although she’d love for him to protect Sonny, she’s glad he and Sam happy. Sam says she wants Jason to be safe, but he needs to make his own decisions. Carly says she accepts Jason as he is and that’s why he and Sam belong together. Sam says the same goes for Carly and Sonny. Carly says she can’t accept it this time. She’s scared she’s going to lose Sonny. Sam says what if Jason can’t talk him out of it.

Sonny says Jason is still the same person; look how he ended up with Sam again. Jason says Sonny lived through the shooting, why risk his life to go after Carrrlos now? Jason says this is what he expected though, and Sonny says Jason still knows him.

Franco tells Nina she knows how much he loves her. Nina says he got what he wanted — no kids — and tells him to go celebrate. She says he wins and smashes the champagne bottle.

Finn gives himself a shot in one of the shower stalls.

Michael tells Tracy he hasn’t been paying as much attention to the ELQ lawsuit as he should have been. Tracy says it’s all been put in perspective now.

Jason tells Sam what happened with Sonny. He says Sonny told him he’s not that different. Sam says she told him that. Jason says she’s changed, but she says she’s just more cautious and that when you have people you love, the world is a scary place.

Carly comes home to no Sonny. Her phone rings. It’s Sonny calling from a private plane. He apologizes for not saying good-by in person. He says Jason did try to talk him out of it. Carly says she had to try. Sonny says to give his love to the kids and to get the speedboat fixed because they’re going for a ride when he gets back. She tells him to be careful and they say I love yous.

Anna joins Sonny. Sonny says he was dealing with some obstacles. Anna says her biggest obstacle was the DA.

Griff is ringing the bell at Anna’s . He leaves a Teddy bear by the door with a note for Emma. Paul remains unconscious.

Anna reminds Sonny he gave her his word that he’s not going to kill Carrrlos.

On Monday, Nathan tells Maxie he knows what she’s doing and to stop it, Nicholas refuses to sign anything, and Anna tells Sonny that they’ll have the ultimate justice.

Kiki tells Morgan he didn’t shoot her, someone else did. She says she didn’t come all this way to listen to a pity party. She makes him agree that he didn’t pull the trigger and she says she’s going to get pissed if he doesn’t knock it off. She says if they want to blame someone, there’s a whole syndicate they can point fingers at. He asks if they can blame Ava, but Kiki says not this time. She overheard Ava talking and she knows Ava was coerced, but she’s letting her feel guilty anyway.

Ava tells Carly they both love their children, and that overrides everything else. She doesn’t want to get into the whole Avery thing right now.

Julian tells Sonny that he’s taking advantage of the situation Ava is in and manipulating it to keep Avery. Sonny pleads ignorance, but Julian brings up the black rose that was sent to Ava and says he knows it’s Sonny. Sonny says he has more important things to do like look for Carrrlos.

Anna looks at the paper and says she’s glad Griff did this and now they know it’s true. Emma asks what’s true. Anna says he’s not just a friend, but part of the family. Anna says she wants Emma to meet Uncle Duke’s son.

Paul tells Finn he and Tracy share a son. Finn says he’s met him, but he never mentions Paul. Paul asks if he can have an update on Tracy’s condition, and Finn tells him to ask Tracy. Finn leaves and Epiphany tells Paul he’s a great doctor and that’s all he’s getting form her. Paul’s phone rings and he says something about a cancellation and he’s going to Kelly’s.

Sonny tells Julian Carrrlos will be found, and he’s going to flip on Julian about Duke’s death. He says Julian is going to prison for life. Julian says he’s going to ignore Sonny’s accusations and not tell Ava that it was Sonny who sent the rose. He suggests Sonny get out of the business like he did. He leaves and Sonny calls someone to meet him at Kelly’s. He has confirmation that Paul will be there.

Anna explains that she’s not Griff’s mother, but Duke is his father. Emma says her mommy and daddy are doctors too, and suggests they have champagne to celebrate. Anna asks who told her about that. Emma says her grandpa and Anna jokingly says she’s not allowed to have it until she’s 31. Emma suggests hot chocolate instead.

Ava says she’s grateful for what Carly did for Kiki at the pier. Carly says Kiki is special and the family loves her, and so does Morgan. Ava says Kiki needs to focus on her own recovery and she can’t save Morgan, even though they seem to be pressuring her. They agree to hope for the best and find a way to co-exist. Carly says just like Ava and Sonny did with Avery.

Kiki says Morgan is the first man she’s really loved. She says there’s a wonderful person in there. He says the exciting stuff was just the illness. Kiki says it was a distortion, but he’s still the same inside. He talks about the medication and that it’s making him dull. Kiki says the last word anyone would call Sonny is dull and Morgan needs to face the fact that she needs him in her life. Morgan says Carly visited with the girls and he felt nothing, and until she came there, everything was pointless. Kiki asks if that’s how he felt on the roof and was he really going to jump. He says yes, and she tells him she never wants him to feel that way again.

Sonny meets a guy named Brick outside Kelly’s. He tells Brick that Paul is on his way. Brick tells Sonny he’ll go in first and they’ll pretend not to know each other. He tells Sonny to try and separate Paul from his phone.

Emma and Griff talk. He says he never knew his father. Emma asks why she never met him, and Griff says Duke didn’t know about him. She asks why his mom didn’t tell Duke and he says she had her reasons, but he knows they would have been good friends. He asks her to tell him about Duke.

Sonny comes into Kelly’s and tells Anna what’s going on. Paul comes in next. Sonny goes over to talk to Emma. Paul gives a sidelong glance to Anna.

Finn goes back to his room and tells Roxie she’ll have some nice juicy crickets soon. But first he has to give himself a shot. Carly has fresh towels and starts to let herself into his room. Wow. She doesn’t even knock first.

An orderly drops something and makes a loud noise. Kiki freaks out.

Carly goes into Finn’s room and is startled that he’s there. She apologizes and says she was told he wasn’t in. Seriously, should’t she have knocked anyway? He asks if it’s the usual practice for the owner to deliver the towels. She says no, but housekeeping is having a problem with Roxie. He says they do know just because she’s a bearded dragon that she doesn’t really breathe fire. She says some of them.

Ava comes back for Kiki, who is hyperventilating. Morgan gets her to calm down. Morgan tells her not to worry that sometimes he hears the gunshot without any sound. He says as terrible as it was, it’s over with, and to put it behind her. He says if she was going to freak out anywhere, this was probably the place to do it. Ava takes Kiki back to the hospital.

Anna tells Sonny about the DNA results. Emma calls to Griff. Anna tells Sonny she can get Paul to leave his phone on his table and how fast can his guy work. Sonny says pretty fast. Anna goes over to Paul’s table. She tells him she wants him to meet someone. She says she’s in a good mood today and to put his phone down and come with her. She introduces him to Griff. Brick messes with Paul’s phone behind them. Anna tells Paul that Griff is Duke’s son.

Carly says she knows she’s not supposed to ask what the lizard is for, but why a lizard as a service animal? He says sometimes things pick you. He was camping and found her. She was hurt and he fixed her up and released her, but when he came back to the camp, she was in his bag. Carly says it’s sweet — and illegal. Finn says he has no idea what she’s talking about. Carly also brought Roxie a present. She looked up what a bearded dragon likes to eat and she has all kinds of greens for her.

Epiphany is miffed when she sees Ava coming back with Kiki. Kiki tells her not to blame Ava. Epiphany says Kiki is going back to her room, and the doctor is checking her to make sure they haven’t undone any progress.

Julian sees Ava. She asks how the meeting with Hammer went and Julian says the organization isn’t going to bother her. He says Hammer claims they didn’t send her the rose. She wonders who did, but he says it doesn’t matter since it appears she’s safe now. Ava says she wants out of the business and Julian says just steer clear of it like him. Ava doesn’t believe he’s out of it and want s to know what he did to keep her safe.

Paul and the others chitchat. Griff’s phone rings and Paul goes back to his table. He says it’s good to see Ann excited about something. Paul gets a call and says he’ll see Anna back at the office. Griff says he’s being summoned by Epiphany and has to go. Emma asks if he tangos and if he doesn’t know how, she can teach him.

Sonny gets a call. He says mission accomplished and he’ll let Anna know if it worked. He meets Brick outside and says what’s next? Brick says when the DA gets a call from Carrrlos, Sonny will be the first to know.

Paul tells Carrrlos to calm down, and it wasn’t him who told the press. He says Carrrlos needs to stay away from Port Charles now. Sonny is listening in on the call and tells Brick great job.

Emma asks Anna if Griff makes her miss Duke less. Anna says she’ll always miss him, but having Griff there makes it seem like he’s close by.

Julian tells Ava to stop asking questions. She asks if he’s not taking over for her, who is? Julian says it doesn’t matter, she and her children are safe, and to just go live her life.

The orderly apologizes to Morgan for scaring Kiki. Morgan gets his medication. He says he has to get better for her.

Carly promises she’ll find someone to clean his room who isn’t afraid of Roxie. She says she’s heard that it’s the rescuer who often feels rescued. She promises to knock next time. After she’s gone, Finn tells Roxie that was a close one and gives himself his shot.

Tomorrow, Sam asks Jason what if Hayden was the target all along, Kristina talks to Lucas about being attracted to women, and Nicholas screams at Hayden about lying to him all along.

General Hospital — Friday

Dante tells Nathan that he and Lulu are connecting again.

Nina calls Curtis. She asks if he’s found out who’s sabotaging the magazine yet. He says he’s been working on it, and she asks him to come to the office.

Julian is walking outside, talking on the phone about getting his hands dirty, when Alexis comes up behind him. She says she’s been stalking him.

Lucas comes over to Alexis’s house and Kristina says he’s a life saver. He’s looking for Julian, but Kristina wants to talk to him.

Jason is putting together a piece of furniture for Danny’s room, and luckily Sam drops by to help. Apparently, he’s assembly challenged.

Hayden shows up at Nicholas’s hotel room. Or wherever the blip he’s staying.

Maxie wants to brainstorm with Nina. Joe Zee is doing a guest spread in the magazine. She says it’s huge coup for them.

Dante sees Curtis as he’s leaving the gym. He mentions Curtis seeing Valerie. Dante says what a great person she is and Curtis basically tells him to mind his own business. For real.

Sam gets the piece of furniture together in 10 seconds and asks how Jason likes his new place. He talks about someone decorating it for him, except for the pictures.

Kristina tells Nathan that the person she’d been talking about who’s sexually confused is her. She tells him about being attracted to Parker. He asks how she feels about saying it, and Kristina says scared, but relieved. She tells him about talking to Alexis and she doesn’t think Alexis is really okay with it, despite her acting all PC. (That would be politically correct, not Port Charles.)

Alexis tells Julian about Kristina coming out to her.

Nicholas asks why Hayden is there and she says she misses him. He tells her to get out and she says that’s his pride talking. She says she knows he feels betrayed, but she was betrayed by her father. She says the love they felt for each other is real and tells him not to throw it away.

Nathan and Dante spar at the gym. Dante says he’s annoyed that Curtis had a point about him not getting involved in Valerie’s personal life. He says he doesn’t want to see her get hurt, but Nathan says that’s not his call. Dante asks about Claudette.

Nina says she’s beyond honored that Joe is writing a piece for Crimson. Maxie tells him about how Nina turned the green issue around. Nina adds how she turned around the last issue as well. He says they have a creative enemy and wonders what will happen with his issue. Um…have they thought of bringing it to a different printer?

Alexis tells Julian that by the end of the conversation, Kristina practically called her a homophobe.

Kristina tells Lucas about Alexis’s reaction and how she thinks Kristina is just avoiding getting hurt by men. Lucas says she didn’t turn her back on Kristina and a lot of parents react that way at first. Kristina asks why Alexis can’t practice what she preaches and Lucas says she’ll come around in time.

Sam tells Jason about Hayden really being Rachel. Jason wonders why she would have thrown in with Ric if she has money. Sam says she’s the best lead they have for the ELQ case.

Hayden tells Nicholas she wasn’t conning him. Nicholas asks what her agenda was. She says she lost everything when her father went to prison, she ended up in Port Charles by accident, found out about his knowledge of Jason’s identity and tried to blackmail him. Then she got shot in the head for her trouble. She asks if he really thinks she planned all that.

Sam wonders how Hayden and Nicholas got involved. Jason says she knew his secret and came to the garage that day to tell him when she got shot. Sam says what if she was the target all along.

Nicholas says the shooting was an unfortunate accident and Hayden says especially for her. He says someone was trying to kill Jason and he’s sorry she got shot in the crossfire. She says sorry enough to pay her bills and bring her to his home. She says when he was hurt, she was devastated. He says but she was lying to him the whole time.

Alexis tells Julian that the woman Kristina has feelings for is her professor, and she suggested she might be confused. Alexis says Kristina has had some difficult experiences with men. Julian asks if she suggested that’s why Kristina is attracted to women. Alexis says it didn’t come out the way she wanted it to. She says if the professor is harassing Kristina, she has to do something about it.

Nathan tells Dante the situation with Claudette isn’t the same. He thinks Maxie is bothered by it though, no matter what she’s telling him.

Nina says nothing will happen with Joe’s issue. She says they’re going to hunt the saboteur down and kick their ass. Curtis comes in and Nina introduces him as their private investigator. She tells him Mr. Zee is writing something for Crimson, so that have to get a move on. She tells Maxie to take Mr. Zee to discuss concepts.

Maxie tells Joe she didn’t want to discourage him, but he says he likes a challenge. She says she wants to learn from him

Curtis says it’s not a competitor who’s sabotaging them. He says that the other magazine editors seem to think, despite the recent success, that the magazine is going to fold. Nina tells him about how Julian hired her and why it might benefit him if the magazine goes out of business.

Nathan says Maxie claims not to be bothered by his past, but he thinks she is. Dante says if he could go back, he would have told Lulu everything in the beginning.

Sam says they made an assumption when Hayden was shot. Jason says Shawn confessed. Sam suggests there might have been another shooter.

Hayden says Rachel doesn’t exist anymore. She says she’s lied and manipulated, but so has Nicholas. She says he’d been less than truthful, but she was willing to look past that and forgive him, and why can’t he do the same? He brings up the ELQ papers and she says her intention was to help him. Nicholas says even if everything was real, he would be second-guessing everything. He says all the trust they’ve built was destroyed and the marriage is over. I gotta say, he has some nerve after having her shot.

Kristina tells Lucas about getting kicked out of school and telling her parents. She says they were understanding, but if she tells them right now that she’s gay, Sonny’s head is going to explode. Kristina says she’s confused about everything, except her attraction to Parker. Lucas says it might be a one-time crush or something permanent. He tells her to just trust her instincts. She wonders how her parents are going to feel. Julian and Alexis walk in.

While discussing her shoes, Maxie ends up telling Joe about Claudette and how Nathan lied at first, but when he wanted to tell the truth, she told him she didn’t care. Now it’s all she can think about. Joe tells her not to borrow trouble. Claudette is in Nathan’s past, so leave her there. Maxie says if Joe ever gets tired of fashion, he could be a relationship counselor. Nathan comes in. I guess he’s allowed to just walk into a private business meeting.

Jason asks if the second target was Hayden or Rachel. Sam thinks Rachel, but Jason thinks it could be otherwise.

Hayden says a few days ago, they loved each other and now Nicholas wants to pretend it never happened. He thinks they should both cut their losses. She says he just wants to pay her off and have her leave. Nicholas says the prenup is invalid because she didn’t use her real name when they got married. She’s like, nice, he’s going to leave her penniless too. He says she can keep the stuff he bought her (gee, thanks), but she’s not getting a penny more. She says she doesn’t think so.

Maxie introduces Joe who needs to take a call. Nathan asks if Maxie can go for a walk. Joe comes back, saying there’s been a red carpet disaster and one of his clients needs counsel. He says no worries, he’s still doing the spread, and he’s thinking footwear, which excites Maxie. Nina comes in, and Maxie relays what Joe told her. Nathan asks if he can steal Maxie for a walk and Nina says to go and make the world a more romantic place.

Curtis pretends to be a representative for Crimson and calls the printer. He says since the magazine came to them unbound, they shouldn’t have to pay for a printer error. The printer says it wasn’t an error and Curtis asks who gave them instructions for that.

Lucas tells Julian that he and Brad have set a date and they’re getting married in May. Alexis and Julian congratulate him. Lucas has to go back to the hospital and Julian has to get back to the office. Alexis tells Kristina she’s happy for them. Kristina says Alexis doesn’t have a problem with people being gay unless it’s her.

Maxie and Nathan sit in the park, so GH can use the same set that they did with Julian earlier. Nathan says he wants to talk to her about the truth, but Maxie says Claudette is in the past, so they should leave her there. Nathan says he has to tell her because Claudette wasn’t his girlfriend. She was his wife.

Maxie says Nathan never told her he’d been married. He says he knows a lie of omission is still a lie. She says he knows everything about her, including the bad stuff, so why didn’t he tell her. He says it didn’t end well.

Alexis says maybe Brad and Lucas are adults. Kristina gets sarcastic about Alexis looking at her like a child. She says Sonny makes mistakes, but at least he admits it and apologizes, which Alexis never will. Kristina says she gets it. Alexis is right, she’s wrong, message received. She leaves and Alexis calls Parker.

Curtis tells Nina he’s found out who’s behind the sabotage. Nina asks who it is and Julian comes walking out of the elevator.

Jason says Hayden was about to tell him who he was, and Nicholas wouldn’t have wanted that. Sam says yeah, if she was double-crossing him she would have kept his secret. Wow, these two are slow.

Hayden tells Nicholas the prenup doesn’t matter because they’re not getting a divorce. Not with what she knows.

On Monday, Curtis tells Nina who’s undermining Crimson, Franco thinks Kiki should move in with Jason (huh?) and Nathan tells Maxie the truth about his marriage.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital — Thursday

Maxie and Nathan are getting busy. Maxie suddenly says she knows the truth about Claudette and she hates him. It’s just a dream.

IRL, Maxie tells Griffin she has a proposition for him.

Parker shows up at Alexis’s house. Kristina tells her to leave and Parker says it’s not that simple.

Hayden goes to Diane’s office and sees Nicholas sitting there.

Laura finds Elizabeth on the laptop and asks why she’s so upset.

Griff asks how Maxie’s ankle is and she says she didn’t even have to swear off heels for 24 hours. She tells him about the success of the real woman Crimson issue. She says it looks like the real men issue will be a go. He says he already told her that’s not his thing. She asks what’s up with him and why he’s being chilly. He says it’s because of her boyfriend.

Michael goes to Anna’s house and asks if there are any leads on Carrrlos. She says she doesn’t have anything. Michael is concerned that Anna might be tempted to use deadly force where Carrrlos is concerned.

Nicholas says Diane was filling him in, but Hayden can do a better job. Diane says Hayden assured her she was acting on Nicholas’s behalf and she was surprised to find out he had no knowledge of the ELQ transfer to her name, or that he would be against the idea. Nicholas asks to speak with Hayden alone. Hayden tells Nicholas she can explain, and he says he bets she can’t.

Lulu and Laura talk to Elizabeth about Helena’s will. Laura says all of her bequests had a riddle attached. Elizabeth says she hopes Laura tossed the key away, but Laura says she’s done some investigating and hopes to find out what it means.

Kristina asks why Parker is the one who’s married, yet she keeps showing up at Kristina’s door? Parker tells her about Max sniffing around and that it’s making her nervous. Kristina says she put a stop to it, so Parker has nothing to worry about. Parker says Kristina apparently hasn’t told her parents about her feelings and asks if she’s still struggling. Kristina asks why Parker just doesn’t admit she hates her, but Parker says far from it.

Griff says something about avoiding beautiful women and that he stays away from what he can’t have. I totally don’t get any of what he’s telling Maxie.

Anna says Carrrlos was with a woman at the last sighting, and she supposes it was Sabrrrina. .Michael says he tried calling her, but hasn’t heard back, so he assumes she’s still with Carrrlos. He’s concerned that Sabrrrina is being coerced into staying with him.

Laura tells the girls about her research on the key. Lulu says whatever it opens, she doesn’t want what’s inside. Elizabeth agrees and is thinking maybe Jake never needs to see the book Helena left either. Laura says she’s aware the key might open something horrible.

Nicholas says if the documents are executed, Hayden gets ELQ and can do what she wants with it. She says everything she did was for him and she can prove it.

Anna says every time she feels like she’s getting her bearings again, new information comes in. She says she’ll give Michael all the non-confidential information she has. He says they all would have been better off if someone had killed Carrrlos while they had the chance.

Michael leaves and runs into Griffin on the porch. Anna says he’s right on time and she has tea. He says she seems upset.

Nathan comes to the hospital and Maxie tells him about her conversation with Griffin and how he seemed to be holding something back.

Hayden says she had the papers drawn up in case the Quartermaines win the lawsuit. She says she was picking them up, but only his signature would have made them valid. He says her strategy is brilliant, but wonders why she kept the documents a secret. She says they all have their secrets and the beginning of their marriage was chaotic. She thought she’d wait until it was necessary for him to sign them. He says you can never be too prepared and thanks her for her concern and ability to think ahead. She says if it wasn’t because of the documents, why was he at Diane’s? He says to change his will.

Laura says not every encounter with Helena is toxic and she needs this final closure. Lulu asks where she’d even start looking and Laura says she has a good idea.

Parker says she was angry because Kristina threatened her career and marriage, but she never hated her. She wanted to reach out to her after the wedding and make sure she was okay. Kristina says it sounds like Parker really cares and she says she does. Kristina says Parker is giving her mixed messages and asks why Parker won’t leave her alone.

Maxie says Griff intimated that he found her attractive and didn’t want to be near what he couldn’t have. Oooh, I’m getting this now. Nathan says it’s his last day of medical restrictions. Maxie says he should be in bed and he says that’s what he was thinking. They leave.

Griff says he read that Duke was running Sonny’s organization when he died. Anna says that’s true and shows him a photo album. They go through the photos. Griff says they both look very happy. He says Anna must have had some conflict, being in law enforcement. She says their love was stronger than their differences and at the end, thought they should be together no matter what. They were about to leave town and she was meeting him at the pier at midnight. She starts to cry and tells Griff how she found Duke.

Laura says she’s starting in the attic and Lulu freaks out. She says she shouldn’t face what Helena left her by herself, so Lulu is going with her. Laura asks why Elizabeth is so quiet. Elizabeth says sometimes it’s better to know the truth even if it’s painful, which isn’t an answer. Lulu says they’ll leave a trail of bread crumbs.

They go upstairs and Elizabeth gets back on the laptop.

Nicholas says because of the prenup, if anything happens to him, Hayden won’t get what he feels she should. She asks if finding out about the papers has changed anything. He says no and they hug. Diane comes in and says it’s a better outcome than she thought it was going to be. Hayden says she’s leaving to let them conclude their business, and she’s leaving the papers. I’m not sure if I’m buying what Nicholas is saying though.

Griff says he’s glad Duke was trying to get out of the mob when he died. Anna says it was a difficulty for him, wanting to do the right thing, yet wanting the excitement and not trusting the law. Anna says he was a good man and she loved him with all her heart. She wishes he was there to meet Griffin and that he’d be over the moon to know he had a son. She says she wants there to be closure as far as Carrrlos goes, but there is none. Griff says real peace comes from forgiveness, but Anna says she could never forgive Carrrlos because he had no remorse. Griff says forgiveness is a gift from God. She says it’s a lovely sentiment, but doesn’t apply to her.

Lulu asks if Nicholas feels a Cassadine obligation to keep the attic as creepy and ominous as possible. It’s cobwebby and crowded with stuff. Amazingly, Laura finds a trunk in like two seconds.

Diane asks if Nicholas needs anything else from her. He asks what Hayden told her when the documents were originally drawn up. She confirms what Hayden said, and that it’s an effective strategy providing you trust the person you’re dealing with. She tells him not to sign the documents if he’s having any doubts about Hayden.

Hayden comes back to Windemere. She tells Elizabeth she should be packing, because when Nicholas gets home, he’s going to show her the door. Elizabeth says the only one leaving is Hayden, and she’s not coming back.

Parker asks Kristina if she needs to talk and Kristina tells her to just leave. Kristina says she doesn’t know who she is or what she wants, and Parker showing up just makes things worse. They kiss. Well, that’s not going to help anything.

Michael talks to Felix, who says since Sabrrrina had the baby, she hasn’t been communicative. Michael says Carrrlos is alive and Sabrrrina is with him. Felix says he should have realized what was going on. Michael says there has to be a way to find them and he has some ideas.

Maxie and Nathan are basking in the afterglow. She asks Nathan if he was jealous of her talking about Griffin. He says maybe a little. She says a little jealousy can be attractive.

Anna says she doesn’t want to talk about the bad stuff, she just wanted to share memories of Duke with Griff. He asks if there’s anything she wants to unburden herself of and she says he asks too many questions, and who is he really?

Nicholas tells Diane they’ll leave the will as is for now.

Elizabeth asks Hayden who she really is and calls her Rachel Berlin.

Laura puts the key in the trunk lock.Voila! It’s a fit.

Tomorrow, Nicholas confronts Elizabeth and Hayden, Kristina questions Parker’s motives and Carrrlos makes an appearance.

General Hospital — Friday

Griff says he knows pain and grief when he sees it and he thought Anna could find some peace in talking about it.

Carrrlos calls Paul. All Paul wants to hear is that Carrrlos is coming back to Port Charles.

Sonny brings Epiphany some flowers. She says she’s mad as hell about him lying to his family.

Parker steps back and says this can’t happen.

Elizabeth says everyone knows who Rachel Berlin is. She and her father were all over the media, along with the financial scandal. Elizabeth says she knows Hayden is Rachel, and Nicholas is going to know too.

Lulu reminds Laura of Pandora’s Box and how it unleashed all the evils into the world. Laura says there was hope at the bottom though. She opens the trunk.

Kristina says talk about mixed signals and I agree. Parker says the kiss wasn’t why she came there. Kristina asks if Parker likes seeing her embarrass herself. Parker says she needs to figure out her feelings in her own time. Kristina says Parker didn’t land on her porch by accident and she must have wanted something to happen between them. Again I agree. She could have just called.

Epiphany says she bets Carly was mighty pissed about Sonny lying. Sonny confirms that. He thanks Epiphany for keeping his secret. She says she had no choice because of staff/patient confidentiality. Sonny says he thought it was because she liked him. Epiphany says Sonny flatters himself and she got into trouble with Dr. Monroe. He’d asked for a patient evaluation and could probably tell in 10 seconds that Sonny could walk.

Paul says the deal remains the same. Carrrlos comes back to Port Charles and testifies against Julian in exchange for immunity.

Anna tells Griff if he’s thrown in with Paul, he’s made a mistake. Griff says there’s no conspiracy going on. Anna throws out some theories, but Griff says he’s who he says he is and he wants her to run a DNA test. He wants Anna to trust him.

Lulu says all that’s in the trunk is a book. It’s a textbook. An introduction to law enforcement and criminal justice that belonged to Scotty.

Hayden says fine, but she’ll tell Nicholas. Elizabeth doesn’t trust her. She begs Elizabeth to let her handle it. Nicholas comes in and asks what’s going on.

Griff gives Anna the teacup he was drinking out of. Griff says he’s sorry she thought he was trying to get her to confess something. He says it’s clear that something is weighing heavy on her. He says she should try to find a way to forgive herself.

Paul says there’s nothing pretty about life on the run. Carrrlos says it’s his life. Paul says he can be free if he comes back. Carrrlos says the only way he and his family can be safe is if he stays away. He adds that Sonny would like to dance on his grave.

Griff is late for his appointment with Sonny. Epiphany says that he’s usually conscientious and must have a good reason. Sonny balks at her making an excuse for anyone and asks if she’s in love. She says the only one she loves is Milo.

Lulu asks what the connection is between Scotty and Helena. Laura says Scotty has no connection to Helena, other than handling her will. She says Scotty was in law school when they were first married. She bought him all kinds of law books and ended up getting them in the ditch financially. Lulu asks what she did to get them out, and Laura says she took a job at the disco…where she met Luke.

Hayden says Elizabeth is still in love with Nicholas and trying to spin lies. After some argument, Elizabeth says that Hayden’s name is really Rachel Berlin and her father is the infamous Raymond Berlin, who bilked his clients out of millions. Nicholas asks Hayden if it’s true.

Hayden says yes. Nicholas says her father isn’t dead then. Hayden says that he did have a heart attack, but recovered. He says she told him her mother was dead too. Hayden says she wanted nothing to do with them, so they were dead to her. She says she did everything she could to escape her reputation. Nicholas says she also escaped prosecution for her part in her father’s crimes. I’m re-hating Elizabeth right now.

Lulu says the treasure hunt is over. Laura says she wants to stop playing games with a dead woman and throws down the book. Lulu sees something fall out of it.

Parker says she is attracted to Kristina, but she loves her wife, and being attracted to someone doesn’t mean you have to act on it. She says she realizes how Kristina must have felt led on, and she should have called instead. She says Kristina has to figure out what it is she wants. Kristina says she wants Parker. (You go, Glen Coco!)

Carrrlos says Anna and Paul want him dead. Paul says Anna would rather see Julian in jail. Carrrlos says Paul has already proven he can kill, despite what Sloane had done, and he wants to stay far away from him. Paul asks why he called, and Carrrlos says his payment is late. He tells Paul he’d better get the money asap and to say hello to Anna for him.

Anna knocks at Paul’s door and asks if he’s any closer to finding Carrrlos.

Griff shows up at the hospital. He tells Sonny sorry he’s late, but he was talking about Duke to Anna. Sonny says Anna usually doesn’t open up about her personal life. Griff said she probably made an exception because he’s Duke’s son.

Kristina says up until she met Parker, she thought she knew who she was. When they clicked, she couldn’t stop thinking about her. She says the labels don’t matter. All she knows is that she wants to be with Parker. Parker says it’s all the more reason. She’s probably had feelings for women before, and Parker is safe because she’s unattainable. She says she’s sorry for all of it and Kristina should explore that side of herself without fear and shame. And without her.

Griff tells Sonny about the DNA test. Sonny brings up how they first met and how easy it was to talk to Griff. He tells Griff what a wonderful guy Duke was and that’s probably where he gets it from.

Anna tells Paul about how she thought Griff was trying to get her to confess something. She says nothing with Carrrlos has been resolved and she feels that it’s making her paranoid. She says she’s going to use her own resources to bring Carrrlos in.

Laura says she’s giving in. Lulu says she might want to rethink that and shows her the book. An old wrist corsage is sticking out of it. Laura says it’s from a formal she went to with Scotty. Lulu asks if anything unusual or special happened. Laura says no, except it was the last happy time in their marriage. Laura says they were young and in love, but it was before Helena, so why would she point Laura in hat direction?

Nicholas says Rachel’s clients want restitution. Elizabeth says Hayden reinvented herself so she could hang on to the money. Hayden says she lost everything and did what she could to survive. Elizabeth said she could have gone anywhere. Hayden says she was in Beecher’s Corners when Rick approached her about pretending to be Jake Doe’s wife. She says she couldn’t pass up the money. Nicholas says she must have been very happy to meet him, a prince who’s loaded.

Laura thinks there must be something else in the trunk. Lulu says what if there’s another key and another lock and another trunk and it keeps going. She says who knows what Helena meant by “you’ll find what you lost.” It could be like Rosebud from Citizen Kane. Laura finds nothing else and starts to thumb through the book.

Hayden tells Nicholas they should talk alone. Nicholas says no wonder she had the papers drawn up. He asks if she was going to use ELQ to pay back the clients or ingratiate herself back into the financial world. She says she had no clue what her father was doing. Nicholas says even if that’s true, why didn’t she just tell him instead of letting Elizabeth figure it out? Hayden says that she was afraid the marriage would be over before it began.

Paul asks if she’s willing to sacrifice everything to put Julian and Carrrlos behind bars. She says she wants justice for Duke and doesn’t care if she loses her own freedom in the process.

Sonny says Duke would have been hella proud that he had a son. Griff says it wasn’t in God’s plan. Sonny says God had nothing to do with it, that Carrrlos shot him. Griff says he’s going to tell Sonny the same thing he told Anna; he should forgive the man who killed Griff’s father.

Anna says there’s no guarantee anything Paul will do is going to help. She says he has his own best interests at heart and she can’t allow her own desire for freedom to get in the way of justice anymore. She tells Paul they’re done and leaves.

Paul calls someone and says he has a juicy tip, but they didn’t hear it from him. He says the PCPD made a mistake identifying Carrrlos’s body and he’s still alive.

Griff says he’s been angry and he let bitterness fester in his blood until he realized forgiveness would set him free. He says violence isn’t going to bring Sonny peace or honor Duke. He says to leave Carrrlos in God’s hands and rise above revenge.

Kristina asks what she’s supposed to do with her feelings. Parker says part of Kristina’s confusion is because of her, but because she’s not attainable, not because she’s a woman. She says sexuality is just part of the extraordinary woman Kristina is becoming. They hug and Parker says good-by.

Laura sees letters circled throughout the book. Lulu says what if it’s even more complicated and it’s encrypted. Laura says she’ll figure it out and now she has all the pieces of the puzzle.

Elizabeth puts in her two cents and Hayden asks her to gloat in another room. She tells Nicholas to be careful and leaves. Hayden says she was ashamed and humiliated and needed to be someone else. She says all she wanted, and still wants, from Nicholas is to love and be loved. She says the one big truth is that no matter who she is, she loves him. Oh come on, Nicholas.

Tomorrow, Elizabeth tells Laura all hell is breaking loose, Nicholas wonders what else Hayden is lying about, and Paul wants to renew his relationship with Ava.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital — Thursday

Obrecht asks Franco if he’s doing some light reading. He tells her it’s a book made by Helena and she says she wouldn’t trust a grocery list from Helena. Ha-ha! Love her!

Maxie says what are the odds of two issues in a row being screwed up, adding that someone is out to get them.

Kristina pretends like she doesn’t know what Sonny is talking about, but he’s not buying it.

Sam says she doesn’t remember who originally got Jason the photos, but they were always on the mantel. She says Maxie redecorated when they broke up, and after that, the pictures were gone.

Franco tells Obrecht about not wanting kids and she says he has an affinity for them. She says few people aren’t worried about screwing their kids up and the ones who do, the kids bounce back. She says Nina must be on the baby track again.

Julian scoffs at the sabotage theory. Nina asks Julian if the whole thing doesn’t bother him. Tha’s a good question. Any other publisher would have been on the phone by now. Julian says no one is out to ruin Crimson. Maxie says the fashion world is cutthroat and Nina wonders who would benefit by Crimson’s demise.

Ava comes to get Avery so she can visit Kiki. Carly says Avery is asleep. Ava checks for herself.

Kristina says Sonny is attacking her. He says he barely sees her and wants to find out what’s going on while he has the chance. Molly says Kristina should have told them to begin with and Kristina tells her to shut up. Sonny asks if she’s going to tell Alexis what she’s hiding. When Kristina says nothing, Sonny says he will and tells them Kristina got kicked out of school.

Ava says she’ll be back and Carly and Sonny better not stop her. Carly asks why she wants to take Avery away. Ava says she just wants to take her home and asks if Carly and Sonny got it in their heads to keep Avery permanently.

Kristina says she was only suspended for one semester and how dare they dig into her private business? Sonny says as long as they’re paying for it, it’s their business. Sonny says there was an issue with a professor about harassment and if she’d come to them, they could have handled it. He’s sure that it was the professor that was out of line and turned the tables, and he’s going to fix it. Kristina says she’s not the victim and what the school said is all true. It was her fault. Alexis is astounded.

Maxie says when she spoke to the printer, it sounded like they had asked for the last issue to be printed in green. Julian says it sounds like a misunderstanding or a joke. He asks what’s more likely, a communication failure or a saboteur? Dillon suggests they find out who told the printer what.

Olivia comes to the hospital. She’s covered in hives and has to get to the hearing. Obrecht says she’ll do anything to stop Lomax’s anti-woman hysteria. She takes Leo and tells Olivia to go to the examining room. She gives Leo to Franco, saying she’s giving him an assignment — ten minutes with the baby and even he can’t screw that up.

Nina starts to call the printer. Julian says he’s had a relationship with them for years and he’ll call, and pretends to do it. He tells “the printer” that he wants to know what happened, and then pretends to listen. Julian tells them the printer said it was a mistake. Julian says there’s enough money for one more issue, the farewell to Crimson issue. They’ll send the magazine out on a high note.

Nina tells Dillon and Maxie they can leave, but she’s staying and has not yet begun to fight.

Franco talks to Leo about Leonardo da Vinci as only Roger Howarth can talk to a kid. He tells Leo he doesn’t think he would be a good father. He says he loved when he thought Kiki was his child, and enjoyed his time with Avery. He says he and Leo are getting along well. His phone rings and he sticks Leo in a laundry bin while he answers.

It’s Nina. She tells him it’s an emergency and she’s going to be late. He tells her to take her time, but save him some time too, because he wants to talk. He’s rethought the baby issue. Oops! Laundry bin gone.

Jason says it can’t be a coincidence that he picked the same photos that he’d owned before. Sam says maybe he recognized them. He says how can he remember pictures, but not the important stuff like their relationship?

Ava says Carly is deluded. Carly says not deluded, but hopeful that Ava will do the right thing. Ava says how should she react when someone tries to take her children and how would Carly react? Carly says she hopes she’d put the good of her child first. Ava says the judge decided Avery was better off with her and Carly says that will change when the court finds out how Ava’s business nearly killed Kiki.

Kristina tells them about flunking a class and how she offered sex in exchange for a passing grade. She says it didn’t get her anywhere and she kept pushing until the professor went to the ethics committee and she got suspended. She starts to cry, saying how stupid she was. She says she panicked because she was afraid of what they would think if she failed again. She did not fail with the earrings she picked out today though.

Sonny asks what she wants him to say. He says he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t disappointed.

Nina tells Dillon and Maxie to put their thinking caps on and try to salvage what’s left of the real woman issue. Maxie says last time they had a product, this time they just have pages. What should they do? Pay someone to put it together? Nina says that’s exactly what they’re going to do.

Obrecht comes out and Franco asks if she’s seen Leo. Obrecht says Franco should know where he is. He tells her that Leo disappeared from the laundry bin he left him in. Obrecht says, you lost him and he can’t even walk yet. Franco says she handed him a baby, what did she think was going to happen.

Sam tells Jason she misses the life they built together and that she’s falling for him all over again and doesn’t know where she’s going to land. She wants to give it a shot and Jason says he does too. he says the only thing stopping her from moving forward is her marriage — she wants a divorce.

Ava says the shooting can be traced back to Sonny. She says should they pursue that avenue of attack, it will be brought up. She’s an upstanding citizen who was helping with the arrest. Carly says it’s time to find another way to move forward. Ava says like her and Sonny have? and mentions the armed guards outside.

Kristina says she didn’t mean for this to happen and things just got out of control. She wishes she could do it over again. Sonny says him too. Molly tells Sonny not to talk to Kristina like that, like he’s never made mistakes. He says he wants Kristina to have a better life than he did. He says he’ll talk to the administration and get Kristina back in school. Alexis says let’s take a breath. Kristina says she doesn’t want to go back, and that everyone else knows who they are and what they’re supposed to do, but she doesn’t have those answers. Sonny tells her they’ll talk later and leaves. Alexis hugs Kristina.

Franco desperately looks for Leo.

Maxie says Nina doesn’t realize how much time, effort t and money it will take. Nina says the first 20 readers who compile enough issues to sell will get $1000. They’ll call it The Real Woman Real Cash contest. They’ll use social media, people will go wild and the publicity will be priceless. Maxie asks how they’ll get the issues to the readers. Nina says they’re going to drop pages from a plane. They’ll hire people to pick them up wearing Crimson T-shirts. Maxie says it’s crazy and she thinks it will work.

Olivia is talking to Obrecht and Franco says he has bad news. Obrecht moves aside and Leo is with Olivia. Franco makes something up about running out of paint. Olivia heads out with her prescription. Obrecht tells Franco that a nurse found Leo and took him to daycare.

Alexis tells Christina that she knows Sonny was harsh, but she’s not really a disappointment to them. They’re disappointed in themselves as parents. Kristina says it’s her fault. Alexis asks if there was anyone at school she could talk to and asks why Parker came to their house. Molly starts to field the question, but Alexis stops her and asks if there’s something Kristina isn’t telling her.

Sonny tells Carly that he had a run in with Kristina. Carly says Ava was there to take Avery, but Avery was napping. Sonny says now that Kiki is awake, he thought they’d have more time. Carly says Ava wanted to take Avery to visit Kiki, but she knows Ava is going to take her back permanently.

Julian tells Ava she’d better get Avery back before Sonny and Carly get ideas. Ava says they already have and tells him what happened. He tells her to be careful. She opens a box that’ been left for Kiki and there’s a black rose inside. She says the card is for Kiki, but the message is really for her.

Obrecht gives Franco a flask and tells him to take a sip, doctor’s orders. He says he knows that if he and Nina have a family, he’ll find a way to screw things up. Obrecht says, admittedly, things didn’t go well today.

Nina gets off the phone. She tells Dillon and Maxie that the Crimson air force is littering campuses at this very minute. She works fast!

Julian is concerned that the rose is from Dixon’s gang. Ava says she hasn’t been in contact with the gun runners since the delivery. The card says that everyone at the gallery is glad Kiki is getting better and glad the police saved her life, adding that her mother can sure pick her friends.

Sonny tells Carly not to worry about Avery. He has everything taken care of. She asks about Kristina. Sonny says she’s been lying to him and he has the feeling she still is.

Alexis asks Kristina to let her help. Olivia calls and says get to the courthouse now. The press is swarming the place. Alexis says she has to go. Kristina says she’s going to lie down. Alexis tells Molly to keep an eye on her.

Sam tells Jason they already have the paperwork in place. All Jason has to do is sign it. Jason is confused, since they both just said they wanted to give things another try. Sam says she doesn’t want to live in the past and compare it to what they have now, and that it would be easier and more fun to start over. Jason says she’s got herself a divorce. Please ask Elizabeth to be a bridesmaid when you remarry. Please.

Tomorrow, Olivia’s case is presented, the Crimson crew wonders who benefits from shutting them down, and Curtis tells Valerie she’s over-dressed.

General Hospital — Friday

Carly says the day Kiki fully recovers is the day they lose Avery. Sonny tells her don’t worry, he has a plan. He says he thinks Ava is going to realize Avery is better off with them.

Ava says her own people threatened her. Julian reminds her that she worked with law enforcement. Ava says she didn’t know that’s what she was going at the time. Julian says she’s a dead woman walking.

Operation Snowing Crimson is under way. Dillon texts Maxie and tells her pages are happening everywhere. Nina is worried that the readers won’t figure it out, or worse, won’t care.

Curtis tells Valerie she looks stunning, but over-dressed for what he has in mind. She says she thought they were going out for drinks, but he says they’re going on an adventure instead.

Kristina tells Molly she wishes her parents weren’t so hyped up about her life right now. Molly asks her why she just doesn’t tell them she’s gay, but Kristina says the jury is still out. Molly says what about her crush on Parker and Kristina says it’s more than a crush.

Alexis and Olivia are getting ready for the hearing. Alexis says she doesn’t want any woman going through what Olivia did. Diane and the mayor come in and Diane says the lawsuit is frivolous and a waste of the taxpayer’s money. Shame on Diane. I thought she’d be on our side.

Maxie wonders what happened to her fierce and focused boss. Nina says she’s worried.

Valerie says they made a deal, Curits is supposed to tell her his side of the story with Jordan if they go on another date. He says he’ll discuss his past with her, but something more fun and lucrative came up first. She asks how lucrative and tells him she can’t participate in a bank robbery. Curtis tells her about the Crimson contest. He says his mother always told him, if you can’t change your plans, you can’t change your life, and he wants to change his life for the better.

Nina says the issue was supposed to coincide with Olivia’s hearing. Nina asks Maxie if she breastfed, and Maxie says she wanted to and tried. Nina says she can’t wait to try. Maxie asks if Nina took her advice about a second opinion. Nina says yes, and that Franco changed his mind about them having a baby. Maxie tells her Crimson is trending on social media — all over the country.

Olivia tells Diane she’s not a puritan prude like Lomax. Lomax is like, I can hear you. Diane says she’s all in favor of anyone whipping anything out at any time, but that’s not the point. Lomax says that Olivia and Alexis already made their point at the police station. Lomax says it’s just a shameless publicity grab.

Sonny tells Carly not to worry again. She says Sonny has demonstrated a lack of ability to control his temper where Ava is concerned. He says Ava has dug her own grave and all he has to do is gently push her into it.

Ava says she had no choice but to do what Paul said. Julian says Paul put her in danger and he should be the one to keep her safe. He should at least assign a detail to her. Ava says Paul should do a lot of things, but she’s on her own. Julian asks her what she’s going to do.

Curtis tells Valerie about his mother passing away before she could see him clean up his life, and when she died, he was a disappointment to her. Valerie says her experience is the opposite and if her mother had been alive, maybe she wouldn’t have messed up. Curtis says they should put the past where it belongs for a few hours and get that thousand dollars.

Maxie says they’re going to show whoever is sabotaging Crimson that they they can pick themselves up. Nina talks about Julian speaking with the printer and says, doesn’t he make money from the magazine? Maxie says being in a coma for so long has spared Nina from evil people, but apparently Maxie doesn’t know Nina’s story, which Nina gives her a capsulized version of. Maxie asks who benefits from Crimson shutting down. Nina says, Julian.

Ava says she made a bargain with God to spare Kiki. Julian says he didn’t and he’s going to make sure she’s safe. Ava says she’s going to tell Dixon’s people the truth.

Carly tells Sonny that he and Kristina are a lot alike, and when something is bothering her, she projects it onto him. Sonny tells her about Max finding out Kristina was suspended from school. He tells her the explanation Kristina gave him. Carly agrees with Sonny that somehow it’s the professor’s fault. (This is one of the reasons they’re bad parents. They tend to immediately think their kids are never wrong.) Sonny says he’s going to have someone straighten out the professor. I thought Carly wanted things to change?

Kristina thanks Molly for standing up for her. Kristina says Molly has no idea how confusing it is for her. She says she has a history of dating the wrong guys, but never thought she’d be attracted to a woman before Parker. Molly suggests she might be bi-sexual. Kristina says she’s always been supportive of other people, but when it’s you, it’s strange.

Diana says Lomax did nothing to break the law. She didn’t prohibit Olivia from breastfeeding, she just complained, which she has a right to do. Lomax says Olivia was the one who got aggressive. Diane says Alexis wants to keep people from free speech and she needs to brush up on Constitutional law. Alexis says it’s a harassment case, not a free speech case. Lomax says if they don’t drop the case, they’ll regret the day they went up against her.

Molly says she thinks Alexis and Sonny will be fine no matter what Kristina’s sexuality is. Kristina says she doesn’t think Sonny can take having a bi-polar son and a bi-sexual daughter in the same month. Molly says no matter what, Kristina will always be who she is and she should be proud of that.

Carly objects to Sonny’s tactics (thank you). She says he might make things worse for Kristina. Sonny says he’ll just have someone dig around. Carly gets a call. There’s a health inspection at the hotel and she has to go.

Olivia asks if Lomax is threatening her. Lomax tells her to cool her jets. Lomax brings up Julian being a known criminal, and Alexis having two children by known mobsters. She tells Olivia that she’s already canceled events at the hotel and Olivia says she only opened it up to better clientele. Lomax says that’s not all she can do. Diane tells her to shut up because Olivia has been taping the conversation.

Julian tells Ava to let her big brother handle things.

Molly says Kristina is underestimating Alexis and Sonny, and that they’ll love her no matter what. They’re just worried about her and they know there’s more to the story. Kristina says let’s drop it for now and concentrate on Alexis’s case. Molly says she’ll drive to the courthouse if Kristina tells her about Parker.

Sonny tells Max to get to the bottom of what happened between Kristina and Parker. Poor Max. One day, he’s assistant to The Godfather, and the next, he’s Mr. French.

Nina says Julian hired her because he wanted Crimson to fail and expected it to be a loss, but it doesn’t make sense. I’m not sure why she thinks that because it makes total sense. She asks Maxie if she has any enemies and Maxie says not lately. There’s a knock at the door. It’s the health inspector telling them to evacuate.

The inspector tells Carly that they’re shutting the place down.

Olivia says she was only checking social media, not recording anything. Diane says it’s against the law to tape a conversation without both parties’ consent. (Really? In New York?) Alexis says not a public official. Diane counters with not in a court, but Alexis says court isn’t in session, so it doesn’t count. Lomax tries to get Olivia’s phone from her and they tussle. Girl fight!

Julian says he’ll go to the meeting for Ava, but tells her to be careful in the meantime.

Carly tells the inspector that everything on the report is a lie. Maxie and Nina come in saying they were kicked out. The inspector says that it was a mistake to close the offices and they can stay. Nina puts two and two together about Olivia’s hearing and Olivia being part owner of the hotel. She says they have a common enemy. Lomax

During the fight, Olivia drops her phone and Diane picks it up. Diane gives it back to her, but she’s erased the recording.

Back at the office, Maxie says the mayor didn’t have anything to do with the green issue, so they’re back to square one. She gets online and sees a few people have put the magazine together and tells Nina to get out her checkbook. Curtis and Valerie come in with a completed issue. It looks pretty beat up though. Valerie is missing a shoe and Curtis says it’s a madhouse out there.

Ava comes to see Sonny. He says she’s not taking Avery and she says that’s not why she’s there.

All the pages are there and Curtis says show them the money. Curtis tells Valerie that watching her crawl through the mud for the pages was a thing of beauty. They flirt. Valerie says it’s been a while since she had fun.

Alexis tells Molly and Kristina she’s sorry they saw that, since it wasn’t too mature. They say they’re proud of her. Alexis asks about the magazine, but before Julian can answer, Lomax comes in. She says Julian is now under surveillance and that Alexis will lose her license if he makes a misstep. Carly comes hurtling in and tells Olivia she has to drop the lawsuit.

Ava says Kiki is going to need a lot of time recovering, and Avery needs at least one parent with her, so Sonny should keep her for now. She leaves and Sonny gets on the phone. He’s the one who sent the rose.

Tomorrow, Dante finds Maxie’s handcuffs? (did I see that right?) Monica isn’t going to let Tracy die and Alexis needs Carly’s help.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital — Thursday

Sonny tells Michael that Sabrrrina is where she wants to be — with Carrrlos.

Nicholas and Laura are preparing for the reading of Helena’s will. Nicholas says they will finally be able to close the chapter on her. Nicholas says it would mean a lot to him if Laura would accept Hayden.

Sam shows up for the reading and Hayden tells her to cut the act. She knows about Sam’s investigation.

Jason is at the crypt and he has a flashback of telling Lila that he’s changing his last name to Morgan.

Monica tells Dillon that if Tracy doesn’t want Griffin involved, they need to honor that. Dillon asks what if for once Dr Mays is wrong and Griffin is right?

Griffin tells Anna he’s been following her. She’s glad she’s not crazy, but wants to know why. Griffin says he’s not a stalker and can explain. He asks to come inside and Anna is like, are you kidding? He asks if she’ll go to a public place with him to talk, but then his phone rings and he has to go. He apologizes and hopes when she knows the truth, she’ll understand.

Anna calls Andre. She wants to meet and pick his brain.

Tracy says Dr. Mays is one pompous man and coming from her, that’s a lot. She asks Monica if she’d go with Dr. Mays’s suggestions. Monica gets a call from Alice and says she has to run, but won’t say why. She says she’ll be back before Tracy is done with the procedure. She tells Tracy that yes, she would listen to Dr. Mays and that his credentials are impeccable.

Dillon tells Tracy he’s really there to secure his inheritance and she tells him she gave it all to “save the owls.” He says he overrode her decision to contact Griffin, who’s on his way.

Nicholas says that when he and Hayden first hooked up, it was toxic, but now they’ve moved on to something more normal. If that’s possible in Port Charles. Nicholas shows her the book and Laura remarks it’s been devalued by the inscription. Nicholas says it’s priceless because of the inscription.

Hayden says things are going well for her and Nicholas, and Sam has been told to drop the case. Sam says that’s all really nice, but she still wants to talk to Nicholas herself.

Michael tells Sonny that Carrrlos is dead, but Sonny says nope, he’s not.

Anna meets with Andre at you-know-where. She asks him if he knows why Griffin would be following her.

Tracy tells Dillon she’s made it clear she doesn’t want Griffin involved. Dillon says Dr. Mays might be a great surgeon, but he’s not open to possibilities and it’s worth another conversation.

Griffin tells Dr.Mays that Dillon asked him to take a look at Tracy’s case. Dr. Mays says it’s Tracy’s call and he’s her doctor. He asks who Griffin thinks he is, and Griffin says first and foremost he’s a doctor. He says if Dr. Mays cared about his the patient, he wouldn’t be shutting Griffin down.

Monica shows up at the crypt. Alice had seen Jason hanging around. He has his tomb name plaque in his hand. Monica says she’s been meaning to take it down, but she was so happy he was alive, she didn’t want to think about when they thought he was dead.

Laura tells Hayden to let Sam talk to Nicholas alone. Sam asks why he wants her to drop the investigation. She says he’s being selfish, and he should think about Spencer. She says she thinks something is going on and as his investigator, she advises him to move forward, but needs his approval. He says no way.

Laura tells Hayden she never liked The Great Gatsby very much and that Daisy abandoned Gatsby to leave him die alone. (Confession time. I have never read this book nor seen any movie version.) Laura says that a daisy is a glorified weed and if Hayden thinks she’s going to play Daisy to Nicholas, she’s setting herself up for a fall.

Hayden tells Laura she’s way too literal and she was only referring to their love for one another. Laura tells her not to underestimate Nicholas and that all Cassadine men have a tremendous capacity for revenge.

Nicholas says he wants Sam to stop the investigation. Sam thinks his original instincts were right. He says he no longer wants anything to do with it and he’s serious. Nicholas asks Hayden to go for a walk. Laura apologizes to Sam for her part in the Jason identity cover-up.

Laura asks how Sam feels about being included in Helena’s will. Sam says she’s tried not to fret about it because that’s what Helena would want. She talks about Helena cursing Sam on her death bed, but says curses are worth nothing unless you believe in them. Laura says she used to think that before Helena came along.

Jason tells Monica he remembers telling Lila about changing his name. Monica says Lila was the only person not upset about that. She says it took a long time to realize that no matter what name he had, he was still the same person — kind, loyal, fiercely protective and honest. Jason says he doesn’t know if that’s true, since he worked for Sonny. Monica says, even then.

Sonny tells Michael that Carrrlos probably figured no one would be after them because they think he’s dead. He asks Michael to tell him everything Sabrrrina ever told him.

Anna tells Andre that she didn’t feel threatened by Griffin, but he didn’t get a chance to explain. She thought maybe Andre could shed some light.

Griffin tells Dr. Mays that he’s seen something like this before when he was in Mexico, something that presented itself as a brain tumor, but wasn’t. Tracy is being wheeled into the OR and tells Dillon not to worry, but she seems pretty worried herself. Dillon tells Dr. Mays that he thought it was a good idea to listen to what Griffin has to say. Dr. Mays tells him he has two doctors in front of him and to pick one. Usually my answer to something like this is, I’m paying you, not the other way around.

Michael says he told Sabrrrina that he could have loved the baby if she’d been truthful from the start, and she never even said good-by. He tells Sonny about the postcard that said she’s happy.

Andre has no idea what’s up with Griffin. Anna says it was a long shot anyway. Andre wonders what his and Anna’s relationship is. The conversation is a little vague and I’m thinking they’re attracted to one another. Anna says there was something familiar about Griffin, like they met a long time ago.

Dr. Mays calls Dillon “son,” and Dillon tells Dr. Mays to address him as Mr Quartermaine. He tells Dr. Mays to go do his job (thank you) and operate on Tracy, and he’s going to talk to Griffin. He says if that’s okay with the doctor, fine, but if not, too bad because he doesn’t take orders from him. Dr. Mays skedaddles off like a sad puppy and Griffin says that was amazing to watch. Dillon says Griffin can repay him by telling him what he thinks is up with Tracy.

Monica says Jason took his integrity and superimposed it over Sonny’s beliefs. She says their family sin’t what it used to be and that’s why the lawsuit is important. It’s not about the money, but about keeping ELQ in the family. She has to get back to the hospital and Jason asks if he can keep the plaque. Monica says sure, and to use it to be life affirming. As she’s leaving, Jason says “the heart has a long memory.” He remembers Lila told him that.

Laura tells Sam about the curse Helena (when she was Elizabeth Taylor) put on her and Luke on their wedding day. Sam asks if she should be worried and Laura says no. Why mention it then? Sam gets a text from Jason, asking her to meet him at the MetroCourt. She calls Spinelli and tells him she needs him to investigate a phone number.

Sonny tells Michael not to do anything to involve himself with Carrrlos and to let him handle it. He adds not to tell anyone else what he knows. Michael wonders why Sabrrrina would subject the baby to all of this. Sonny says Carrrlos is the baby’s father and maybe that meant more to Sabrrrina than Michael knew.

Andre says maybe Anna is looking for a connection because it’s less disconcerting than being followed for no reason. Anna says no, that’s not it

Griffin tells Dillon it’s still just a theory. He says Dr. Mays sees what he expects to see, whereas Griffin looks for alternatives. He says he saw similar cases in Mexico. Dillon says Tracy was just there and Griffin says that’s what brought it to mind. He says he needs to look at the biopsy and thinks Dr. Mays might be a roadblock. Brad comes out to tell them Tracy is out of surgery (that was fast!) and Dillon goes to see her. Brad is kind of staring at Griffin. Griffin asks, “Can I help you,” and Brad says he thinks he can help Griffin.

Jason and Sam meet. He wonders what it will take to get ELQ back for the Quartermaines.

Michael says Sonny got the information from Anna who isn’t exactly an ally. Sonny says they have an understanding and makes Michael promise he’ll stay out of it. Michael says he will, but he expects to be kept in the loop. Sonny tells him if Sabrrrina contacts him, he’s to tell Sonny right away. Sonny says he understands the hurt and Michael deserves better.

As soon as Sonny leaves, Michael calls Sabrrrina and leaves her a message to call him back.

Andre asks if Anna thinks Griffin is a threat in any way. She says she’s been taking care of herself for a while now, but he says maybe it’s time someone helped her. He has to take a call and when he steps away, Anna looks up Griffin online.

Brad introduces himself to Griffin and says he’s Lucas’s fiance. Brad tells him he’s in charge of the lab and sometimes he gets a little disorganized and test results go to the wrong doctor. Griffin asks why he’s willing to stick his neck out. Brad says Dr. Mays is a d-bag and he likes helping people.

Brad leaves and Dr. Mays tells Griffin if he interferes with the case again, he’ll have Griffin’s head on a stick and he’ll be lucky to practice medicine anywhere. Yeah, yeah.

Tracy calls Dillon “Alan,” and Monica says it’s the anesthesia. D illon says that’s the second time she’s called him Alan.

Sam asks why Jason is hauling the plaque around. He has no real answer. Jason gets a call from Diane and he has to go sign papers for his new place. He invites Sam along, but she has to go to the will reading. She’s hoping for a poison ring.

Jason leaves without the plaque and Sam cuts herself on it. Is Helena’s curse about to be fulfilled?

Tomorrow, Scotty says we’re in for some big surprises.

General Hospital — Friday

Are you hearing me sobbing all the way through the Internet? Don’t get me wrong, I liked Nancy Reagan, and loved her and Ronald as a couple, but I’m not crying over the funeral. I’m crying over GH being preempted because of the funeral. Now we have to wait until Monday for the reading of Helena’s will.

Although I’m catching it when I can, I’m definitely into HBO’s Vinyl. Set in 1970’s New York City, it’s about the music business and kind of like Empire for white people. Bobby Cannavale, reminding me of a young Robert Klein, stars as Richie Finestra, president of a dying record label. The casting is quite good, and includes a nearly unrecognizable Ray Romano. It’s sex, drugs and rock and roll all the way and a wonderful trip down Musical Memory Lane if you grew up during this time period. Both Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese are executive producers, and everything about it is spot on.

And for now, it has filled that gaping hole in my heart left by Mad Men.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital — Thursday

Michael asks Morgan how he’s doing. Morgan says how does it look, since he’s tied to a bed, and not in a good way. He feels abandoned, but Michael says Morgan is all his parents can think about.

Carly hears Sonny say he’s going to take Avery to visit Morgan over the monitor. I gotta say, Sonny is looking damn good. He looks like he just came back from a vacation in the Bahamas.

Nina is playing with Georgie’s baby toys. Maxie suggests they go back to the office if Nina can’t concentrate. Maxie says they can’t afford another screw up like with the green issue. Nina says the green issue was a massive success (Truth!) and I wonder what happened with the Real Woman issue.

Franco drops by and says he got a call form an adoption agency.

Elizabeth has good news and bad news for Jake. His bike can’t be fixed, but he can go home today. Elizabeth says they’ll get him a new bike.

Jason and Sam have fallen asleep on the couch together and they look awesome, both dressed in all black. They wake up and start kissing. I’m not in it for the romance, but I do like these two. They cuddle and make some cute talk.

Elizabeth promotes Shriners. Elizabeth says she has a sneaking suspicion there will be a welcome home party. Jake asks if Sam and Franco will be there. He says he likes drawing with Franco. Elizabeth suggests an after school art class. This reminds me of the college art classes I took at Cooper School of Art in Cleveland when I was in high school and how much fun it was.

Nina asks what the adoption people said. Franco says he’ll tell her when she explains why she called them after they’d already decided on waiting. Nina says he’d be an amazing parent. He says the adoption agency isn’t going to entrust the care and feeding of a child to two marginally rehabilitated people. Nina says she’ll talk to them herself and that Franco is hearing what he wants to. Franco says he’s going to the hospital. Nina tells him to send her love to Kiki and says she has to work. Franco says he’ll see her later at home.

Carly called Goodwill to come for the wheelchair, and is going to call the contractor to remove the ramps. Sonny thinks they should revamp everything for Avery. Carly says they don’t know what’s going to happen yet, but another child needs his attention. She wonders what they’re going to do about Morgan.

Michael tells Morgan that Kiki’s surgery was successful, but they still have to wait on a prognosis. Morgan argues about what happened on the roof. Michael tells him he tried to kill himself.

Commercial break. You can make donations for the hospital at Loveshriners.org.

Carly says Morgan was arrested and he stole Sonny’s gun. Sonny says Diane is working on it. Speaking of Diane, here she is. Diane says it’s great to see Sonny on his feet. She says she’s always liked Morgan, despite his wayward ways, although waywardness is nothing new for Sonny’s family members. Carly says she hopes Diane doesn’t say that to the judge. Diane says of course not, but if she can’t work her Miller Kung Fu magic on Paul, Morgan will spend time in prison.

Morgan denies trying to kill himself. Michael says he and Sonny stopped him, and what would have happened if they hadn’t shown up? Morgan says he would have gotten cold and gone back in. Michael says Morgan is not getting well and is just as sick as ever..

Nina talks about a horse who was her only friend growing up. She says she’s never had any female friends or any friends for that matter. Maxie says let’s talk. Nina asks if she knows about baby drama and Maxie says she’ll make coffee.

Franco gets a call from Jake asking if he’s coming to the welcome home party. He says he’s coming home today and Franco says he’ll be there. Jake wants to know if he has to ride a bike again. Franco says he doesn’t have to if he doesn’t want to. Jake says what if he doesn’t remember how and I can’t believe Franco doesn’t take the opportunity to tell him the old adage about never forgetting how to ride a bike. Franco says maybe his parents can give him some coaching.

Danny is up. Make-out interruptus. Jason is going to relieve Elizabeth at the hospital. As he leaves, Elizabeth is coming by in the hallway. She takes note that Jason just came out of Sam’s room — i.e. they spent the night together.

Nina tells Maxie about how Franco thinks no adoption agency will give them a baby. She says isn’t it the world of second chances and points out how blessed she is, saying maybe she’s run out of chances. Maxie says she hasn’t run out yet, so there’s hope for Nina. She’s sure Nina can find a baby, but that’s not her problem, it’s Franco. She says it doesn’t seem like Franco wants a baby.

Here comes Franco riding down the hall of Shriners on a bike. He falls and makes Jake laugh.

Elizabeth says she thought Jason’s room was down the hall. He says he tucked in Danny and ended up crashing there. Although why he feels the need to explain himself to this twit is beyond me. He asks if Jake is okay, and Elizabeth says he’s fine, and he’s going to be able to go home soon.

Morgan asks Michael if he’s a doctor now. Michael says he’s been through the same thing with Sonny, so he knows what he’s seeing. He reminds Morgan of when Sonny was going to shoot himself after Connie’s death. Morgan says he was just talking. Michael tells him he saw Kiki on the roof. Morgan says he’s never going off the meds again. Michael tells him he could be charged with attempted murder. (Of whom? Dixon? Kiki? Himself?)

Carly starts to freak, but Diane tells her she’ll do everything in her considerable power to get Morgan off. She says she’d been remiss if she didn’t present all scenarios. She says Paul might want to hang the blame on Morgan for Kiki getting shot and Dixon holding everyone hostage. She says they might want a scapegoat and nailing a Corinthos is a “big get.”

Jason asks if Sam and Danny want to join him at the hospital. She says she was thinking of going home because she doesn’t want to get in Elizabeth’s way. Jason says they’re grown-ups and everyone is going to have to get used to things. Sam says okay, they’ll come along.

Back at the hospital, Franco says he doesn’t want to break any rules, but the nurse says the only rule is to let kids be kids. Elizabeth returns.

Nina says any child would be lucky to call Franco “daddy,” but he’s just afraid. Maxie says all parents worry they’re not that great. Nina says she thinks they can rise to the challenge. At first she says she can talk Franco into it, but then gets bummed about the adoption issue. Maxie says there are other ways to get a baby.

Michael says the chances of Morgan skating are slim. Morgan says all he’s worried about is Kiki and when she wakes up, he wants to be able to apologize. Michael says he can’t do that in prison. Morgan thinks he has no responsibility. He’s just a kid who didn’t take his meds and is now back on track.

Diane says Carly and Sonny will have to take legal responsibility for Morgan. She says he needs medical treatment, not incarceration. She’s going to request probation and will point out that Paul is a heartless bureaucrat if he doesn’t agree. Of course everything is contingent on Morgan’s agreement. When Diane leaves, Carly says she can’t go along with it.

Morgan says he knows why Michael is worried and that he made a mess of things, but he’s not going to continue being the family embarrassment. He promises to make everyone proud. Diane comes in.

Carly says Diane’s plan isn’t going to work. She’ll be able to keep him out of prison, but the real problem is Morgan’s health. She says they’re not equipped to handle Morgan. He’s wanted to pry into Sonny’s business for years and they were unable to prevent him. Sonny says she’s really talking about him, and she says she’s talking about both of them. She says prison isn’t the only option. They can’t take care of Morgan, so they’ll have to give him to someone who can.

Maxie says Nina can hire a fancy lawyer and set up a private adoption. Nina says last time she hired a lawyer, she ended up in Shadybrook. Maxie says they’re not all like that. Nina says what if the mother changes her mind? Maxie says that could happen no matter what, and why don’t they just try for their own baby? Nina says Britt had told her she couldn’t have children. Maxie points out how Britt lied to everyone, and she wouldn’t trust anything Britt had to say. Maxie tells Nina to get a second opinion. Nina says maybe she and Franco have a family in them yet.

Elizabeth asks where the awesome bike came from and Jake tells her Franco brought it. Elizabeth tells Franco it wouldn’t have occurred to her to bring a bike into the hospital. The nurse takes Jake back to his room to get ready to go home. Elizabeth wonders how Franco knew Jake needed a bike and he tells her about the phone call. He says she seems grumpy for someone whose kid is going home. He wonders why Jason isn’t there and asks what could be more important. When he sees Jason and Sam standing behind him, he says that explains it.

The new issue of Crimson is locked and Maxie has to explain that they don’t want everything green again. She wonders where they got the idea that was a permanent thing.

Jason tells Franco to leave. Elizabeth says he has a friend there, why shoudn’t she? For the first time in forever, I agree with her. Jake and Danny go to the playroom. Elizabeth goes to get her stuff. Jason says it’s her call about the bike. She says Jake loves it, so they’re keeping it.

Diane explains the deal to Morgan. She says it’s eminently doable. She asks if he’s cool with everything and he says probation rather than jail time is definitely cool. When Diane leaves, Morgan tells Michael that he told him everything would be fine.

Sonny asks Carly if she wants a padded cell for Morgan. He says he doesn’t and refuses to have Morgan committed.

Tomorrow, Lulu says her marriage is over (haven’t we been there and done that?), Julian asks Ava about her involvement with the gun running, and Morgan tells Dr. Andre he’s ready to go home and celebrate his freedom.

General Hospital — Friday

Sonny doesn’t want to discuss it, but Carly says they can’t avoid talking about Morgan any longer. She says the only way to save his life is put him in a medical facility and if Sonny can’t see that, he’s in the worst kind of denial.

Dante brings BLTs from Kelly’s to Nathan. The cure-all for everything. Dante says he hasn’t heard from Lulu. He thought they were going to discuss things, but he got the final divorce papers. He assumes she got hers too, and wonders why she hasn’t called.

Ava asks Kiki why she won’t come back. I have a few reasons. She goes on and on about how it’s her fault and she’s going to bring Kiki the moon if she wakes up.

Andre tells Morgan that the surgery was successful, but Kiki hasn’t regained consciousness. Morgan says he’s feeling good and ready to move on. He sounds manic to me. He says Diane will get him out by dinnertime and he can concentrate on Kiki. Andre says he has to deal with his own illness first before helping anyone else.

Sonny says he knows what Morgan is going through. Carly says Sonny has been able to accept treatment, but Morgan isn’t there yet, and isn’t it better to help him now? Sonny says he was never committed and Carly says he isn’t Morgan. Clearly what works for Sonny doesn’t work for Morgan.

Commercial break. Although Sonny has never been one of my favorites, I have deep admiration for Maurice Benard. Check out this article about his bi-polar disorder and how he handled it:

http://www.sheknows.com/entertainment/articles/1114581/general-hospital-maurice-benard-reveals-mental-health-battle-and-suicidal-thoughts

Dante says he thought things might change, but was disappointed that Lulu wanted to stay at Windemere. Nathan tells him if she moves back in too soon it could undermine their progress. Dante says he thought they were making progress, but now he wonders if Lulu is having second thoughts.

Lulu is just getting her mail from Maxie. Maxie says Dante saving Lulu’s life must mean something. Lulu says it does. She said the water was freezing, and then she started to sink and wasn’t cold anymore. She saw all the happy times flash before her and everything she could lose. Maxie asks why she didn’t go home with Dante then. Lulu says she wanted to say yes, but is afraid of history repeating itself. Maxie reminds her about how she didn’t want to marry Dante because of his line of work and asks how she got past that. Lulu says she closed her eyes and took a leap of faith.

Andre tells Morgan that he has a long way to go and isn’t quite himself just yet. He needs to give the medication time to adjust. Andre says the drugs are a means for him to get control of his life, rather than the illness taking control of him. Morgan says he hates the drugs.

Ava runs to Julian, who’s just shown up at the hospital. He says Kiki will come back to them. He tells her maybe he and Alexis can take care of Avery. She says she’s already entrusted Sonny with Avery’s care.

Carly says that Sonny is claustrophobic because his father was abusive, but Morgan grew up differently. Everything was sunshine and roses for him in comparison, so he needs to be treated differently. Sonny refuses to to listen.

Andre asks why Morgan stopped taking the meds. Morgan goes over the ED story. Andre says he should have called, and Andre would have helped. Morgan starts rambling again about Kiki.

Ava says she can’t look after Avery while she’s concentrating on Kiki. She loathes Sonny, but she knows he does love Avery. She says Kiki would be the first person to tell her to leave Avery with Sonny. Julian says it sounds like she’s bargaining with God and trying to rack up points. Ava says he’d do the same thing if it was one of his children. Julian says that’s true. He tells her Dixon was obviously looking for her at the church, and asks what her involvement with the syndicate is.

Carly asks what Sonny is going to do when Morgan leaves home one day and can’t watch him every minute. Sonny gets a call from Diane. She wants to meet them in Morgan’s room.

Nathan tells Dante he doesn’t even know if Lulu got the papers, and he should suck it up and call her. Dante says he’s right, but wants to know why Nathan is trying to get rid of him. Nathan admits he’s been lying to Maxie.

Maxie says Dante and Lulu have been through hell together. She can either hang on to her anger or trust Dante again. She says that Lulu almost died and she needs to open her eyes and heart. Lulu asks what if he does it again. Maxie tells her “what if” will drive you crazy and to take a leap of faith and go home. Lulu goes through the mail and sees the finalized divorce decree. She says her marriage is over.

Andre says he’ll speak to Kiki’s doctor and see if a visit can be arranged, since it might be good for both of them. Probably the only time a visit from Morgan is good is if you’re unconscious. Carly and Sonny show up. Morgan tells them he’s just peachy-keen now. Diane comes in and says Paul wants to shift the blame for Kiki’s shooting and refuses to drop the charges. They have two options — Morgan can be committed to a facility and Paul will consider probation or they can go to trial and Morgan can plead not guilty. Morgan says he wants to go to court.

Lulu says it’s official. She and Dante are divorced. She takes off her rings, saying they don’t mean anything anymore. She’s going to put them away and forget about them. Maxie tells her to tear up the divorce papers instead and have Dante put the rings back on her finger. Lulu says easy for Maxie, since Nathan doesn’t lie to her. Maxie tells her about Nathan lying regarding Claudette. She knows Claudette isn’t a dog, and wonders if she’s still in Nathan’s life. Lulu tells her to take her own advice. Maxie tells Lulu to take her advice. Lulu says, you first.

Ava tells Julian she got involved against her will. She didn’t know what was in the shipments and by the time she did, it was too late. She says when Dixon showed up, she was as blindsided as everyone else. Julian asks what happens now, and she tells him she has full immunity and about the undercover business.

Morgan says he’ll say he was protecting himself. Diane says it’s not that easy. Morgan says they’ll see that he’s getting better and basically starts rambling again. Sonny tells him to stop already.

Dante tells Nathan everyone has a past, so why lie? He says don’t let the same thing happen that happened with him and Lulu . Nathan says if he comes clean with Maxie, Dante has to do the same with Lulu and tell her he doesn’t want the divorce.

Julian tells Ava that Raj and Dixon work with very dangerous people, and could come after her. She wonders how a clean guy like him knows so much about them.

Morgan continues to babble about getting better. Sonny says he will, but it won’t happen at home and he needs professional help. Morgan says Sonny wants to ditch him, but Sonny says they’re not capable of helping. Andre says he doesn’t fully comprehend the gravity of the situation. Diane says they have an excellent case for committing him and she’s sorry, but she won’t defend him. She says they all love him and in good conscience, she can’t argue for his release. Morgan starts to cry and beg.

Morgan keeps apologizing, saying he’s made a mistake and give him another chance. Andre says he’s made arrangements for a good facility already. Morgan starts alternately screaming at everyone and pleading with them. He fires Diane. She says she and Max will keep him in their hearts. Morgan goes crazy, accusing everyone of everything. Carly reminds him that she did a stint in a hospital and came back better than ever and he will too. Andre says everyone should leave now. Sonny and Carly say they love him. Carly says he’ll see that one day. Andre apologizes and Morgan asks to see Kiki before he goes in the “looney bin.“

Julian says he became aware of Dixon and company before Ava ever entered the picture. Julian wonders how Kiki got involved and Ava tells him because of Morgan. Andre comes by and asks Ava for permission for Morgan to see Kiki. Julian is like, hell no, and Morgan says he’s going to a mental hospital and wants to see her first. Julian says every time he sees her, Kiki gets hurt. Ava says Julian is right, but Kiki loves him and maybe he can reach her. She agrees to a visit.

Morgan sits by Kiki’s bed and tells her he never meant for this to happen and he’s sorry.

Maxie comes in with a prescription for Nathan. Nathan says he wants to explain something. Maxie tells him he has the right to remain silent and have a past. She says she trusts and loves him and knows he loves her and that’s all that matters.

Dante sits staring at the papers and takes his ring off. He says it wasn’t supposed to go this way. He starts to call Lulu when there’s a knock at the door. Guess who? And it’s not Valerie. Where is she anyway?

Morgan holds Kiki’s hand and tells her he’s sorry. He says she has a big life ahead with a better boyfriend than him. He says he won’t be there when she wakes up, but he’s not the one she needs. He says somewhere down the line, when they’re both healed, they can see each other again. He says he loves her, always has and always will. He leaves with Andre.

And Kiki opens her eyes, saying “Morgan.”

Sonny and Carly have a drink. Pour me one too. Carly says it’s the hardest thing Sonny’s done. He says it is for Carly too. She says Morgan doesn’t realize how hard it was not to bring him home. Sonny says that he could see the manic building and how nothing was registering. He says it scared him to see how far from reality Morgan was. Carly says he’ll get better. Sonny says it ‘s hard to believe that after what just went on. Carly says Morgan wants to be like Sonny, both despite and because of the danger, and now there will be some distance, and one day he’ll forgive them.

Sonny says what about them and asks if Carly is going to leave him.

On Monday. Lulu talks with Dante, Nicholas wonders why Hayden is suddenly so tight with Tracy, and Tracy gets the MRI results.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

Usually, I post this on Friday, but it was postponed due to need for sleep.

General Hospital — Thursday

Morgan is now restrained in a hospital bed. Michael comes in and tells him it’s just a precaution. Morgan asks how Kiki is and Michael tells him no one knows yet.

Griffin tells Ava he’ll be doing the surgery. Ava asks if Kiki will recover, and Griffin says they’ll do everything they can.

Hayden is at the pier and runs into Curtis.

Jason and Monica are at Shiners Hospital visiting Jake. More advertising for the hospital. Monica says she admires Jake putting away his differences with Elizabeth for Jake’s sake. She says if it weren’t for Jake and Jason, she’d never talk to Elizabeth again. Elizabeth the sneak, who has come in behind them, says she doesn’t blame her.

Laura asks Dante how Lulu is and he says she should make a full recovery. Laura thanks him for saving Lulu’s life. He says he loves Lulu with everything in him, and Lulu and their son is all that matters to him. Lulu hears him.

Monica starts to apologize, but Elizabeth stops her. She thanks Monica for her kindness to Jake. Elizabeth says the hospital set her up in Jake’s room and they’re still evaluating the tests, after which, they’ll come up with a treatment plan.

Michael says Kiki is stabilized. Not so Morgan. He insists on seeing her and Michael says there’s nothing he can do. He asks if Michael knew Sonny could walk the whole time.

Griffin says they have to remove the bullet fragments. Ava asks if Kiki is going to be paralyzed, but it’s too early to tell.

Lulu asks about Rocco and Laura says he’s fine at Windemere. She leaves and Lulu tells Dante how scared she was. He says it’s going to be okay and she says, is it?

Hayden tells Curtis she was just getting air. Curtis says, at a crime scene? She says she just happened to come upon it while she was walking. Curtis says he likes her and she’s been one of his favorite clients. She says their business is concluded now, but they continue to talk.

Nicholas tells Laura things could have been a lot worse and Hayden is fine just in case she was wondering. He says he thinks the melee at the wedding triggered memories of what happened to her last spring. Laura asks if that’s a polite euphemism, and what happened to Hayden was that Nicholas tried to have her killed.

Dante asks Lulu why Raj threw her in the water. She says he said something about a shipment and had seen a problem on the pier. He didn’t want any witnesses, and pushed her in.

Ava tells Franco that Paul blackmailed her into using her gallery as a front for the arms shipment. She says he told her he had a taped confession and threatened to use it against her. Franco asks if she knew Paul was working undercover. She says it doesn’t matter. She let herself get roped into something that hurt Kiki.

Morgan talks about how he wanted to prove himself to Sonny. Michael says he should have called someone. Morgan says he had the thugs where he wanted them and Kiki came in the middle.

Nicholas says all he can do now is make it right with Hayden. Laura asks if that’s why he married her.

Curtis says it’s understandable that Hayden’s memories about being shot should be stirred up. He suggests she talk to her husband

Jason tells Monica that Elizabeth has taken responsibility for her actions and he wants to put it past them and would like her to do the same. Elizabeth apologizes to Monica. She accepts and says she wants to move on for Jake. Elizabeth tells Jason that Jake failed to grasp that they weren’t together anymore because she didn’t want to see it. The same way she didn’t want to see that Jake was really behind the break-ins at the house.

Dante asks Lulu if she can describe Raj. She says yes, and he says he’ll bring in a sketch artist.

Hayden asks how Curtis knew she was married, and he says he couldn’t help but notice the huge rock on her finger. She tells him she married Nicholas, but she doesn’t want to discuss the shooting with him because it makes her vulnerable. Curtis asks if he wanted her dead.

Laura asks what if Hayden finds out the truth? Nicholas says for all she knows, she just got caught in the crossfire of Sean’s gun. Laura wonders why she would marry him.

Jason says he knew Jake was having a hard time, but didn’t know what it was about. Elizabeth says Jake was picking up on her anger and disappointment. She says she was so busy rationalizing and justifying her actions, she missed what was going on with him. Jason says the best they can do now is stand by Jake while he heals. Elizabeth suggests they need some healing of their own. Jason says they should try to be the friends they were before anybody knew who he really was.

Morgan acts normal until Michael leaves. Then he tries to get out of the restraints. He presses the button for the nurse and tells her he needs to relieve himself. She says she’ll get a urinal bottle. He says the idea of her holding a bottle is traumatizing and it would make things worse for him. He asks if he can just use the restroom real quick. The nurse says he knows the protocol, but finally gives in because she’s a total pushover who doesn’t know her job.

Ava talks about seeing Kiki hooked up to the machines. She compares Kiki to Connie, and how Ava took her life like it was nothing. She says it isn’t Morgan’s fault Kiki was shot, it’s hers. She thinks Kiki is paying for what she’s done wrong, and her punishment is watching Kiki hover between life and death.

Morgan suddenly appears and Ava gets loud. Franco tells him being sorry doesn’t help and to go back to his room. He disappears as quickly as he came and a doctor comes out with a Kiki update.

Elizabeth says blah blah blah, and Jason says he meant it when he said let’s put things behind them. Probably because he wants her to stop talking.

Hayden asks why she would marry someone who tried to have her killed. Curtis says it beats him and wonders if being a princess is that important. Hayden says that’s not it. Curtis says if Nicholas finds out she knows, he could finish the job. She says she has proof the shot didn’t come from Shawn’s gun and she might need it as leverage in the future. Curtis asks her please not to say she’s in love with Nicholas.

Laura is concerned that Hayden is going to take advantage of Nicholas. Nicholas tells Laura that as much as he loves Hayden, he’ll protect himself and Spencer at the first sign of any trouble.

Nicholas visits Lulu. He says given everything that’s happened, does she think that she and Dante can tear up the divorce papers and start over.

The doctor says removing the bullet fragments is more complicated than anticipated and that Griffin will let them know the prognosis later.

Elizabeth said owning up to things freed her. She asks Jason what’s next. He says doing his best to be a good father to Jake and Danny. He says he loves the other kids too and would like to be involved in their lives. He also says he has a lot of money so he won’t have to shovel snow anymore. He says he knows a lot more than he did last year at this time, so that’s a positive.

Curtis says great, Hayden’s giving her heart to the man who put her in a coma. She says it isn’t like that anymore. Curtis says to keep his number just in case she needs a bodyguard, and she should turn in her prince before he turns on her. He says he doesn’t want to read about her in the newspaper.

Lulu says just because Dante rescued her, doesn’t mean their troubles disappeared. Nicholas says she and Rocco are welcome to stay at Windemere for as long as they like, but asks if she’d try to welcome Hayden into the family.

No surprise, Morgan has disappeared. Dante asks Michael if he needs help, but Michael wants to look for Morgan himself, since Morgan is so easily jazzed. And why he’s not under sedation, I have no clue. Michael goes to look for him and the doctor tells Dante that Lulu is going to be released.

Ava goes down Memory Lane about Kiki as a toddler. She says Kiki has always been too fearless and wonders why she’d throw her life away for Morgan. I wonder that too.

Monica says Jake is still sleeping, but the doctor’s would like to discuss a treatment plan with Elizabeth and Jason. Elizabeth tells Monica that she and Jake talked, and they’ve decided their relationship is to be good parents to Jake. Monica says without her, Jason might not have survived the accident.

Hayden shows up at the hospital. She and Nicholas hug.

Dante tells Lulu she’s being released. She can’t wait to see Rocco and says she was afraid she’d never see him again. Dante says they have a lot to t alk about and work through, but asks if she and Rocco would like to come home with him. She says sorry, but she’d be more comfortable at Windemere for now.

Michael fills Ava and Franco in on what happened at the pier. Ava says she knew Kiki must have been protecting Morgan. Michael asks if they’ve seen Morgan. Franco says he showed up, but he thinks Morgan went back to his room. Michael says if they need any help, o let him know. Franco says keeping Morgan away from Kiki is the only help they need.

Ava says she prayed all night, begging for Kiki’s life and wonders why God would listen to her. Franco says because she was praying for something other than herself. They pray together and I alost start crying. Griffin approaches them.

Idiot Morgan goes to the roof of the hospital. How come no one is looking for him, since he’s a suicide risk? It’s been like a half hour. He teeters on the edge of the roof.

Tomorrow, Paul tells Jordan she can’t arrest Ava, Andre calls out the idiot nurse who let Morgan loose, and Morgan is found.

General Hospital — Friday

Obrecht is singing a lullaby in German to Nathan. Nina is like, that’s nice, but unnecessary, especially since Nathan doesn’t know German.

Paul holds a press conference, telling the people how the arms deal was foiled and Port Charles is safer now.

Andre tells Sonny that Morgan has been admitted under his care. He says Morgan is in restraints. Fat lot of good that did. Sonny balks at that and Andre says it beats the alternative — jail. Carly says Morgan isn’t understanding that he’s a danger to himself and others.

Morgan teeters at the edge of the roof, babbling about Kiki.

Griffin asks to speak to Ava in private. She says she just wants information as to whether Kiki is okay or not.

Morgan sees Kiki on the roof. I assume this is a delusion, since she’s still pretty bad off.

Nathan tries to get out of bed. Obrecht says they’ll put a security guy outside if necessary. Nina says she’ll pay for it and she and Obrecht leave.

Jordan says Paul fed the reporters a bunch of bull to make himself look good. She says he didn’t bother to notify any of the local authorities of his plans to bust the gun ring. He says he is a local authority and the PCPD wasn’t exactly shiny clean before he got there. Jordan brings up both Nathan and Kiki. She says he also needs to finish the job.

Paul is like, what? and Jordan says what about the local contact, since the crates were labeled Jerome Gallery.

Morgan tells “Kiki” how sorry he is. He realizes she’s bleeding and all of a sudden she removes a bullet from herself, asking if Morgan did this to her.

Griffin tells Ava that they were able to remove the bullet without damaging the spinal cord, but her future mobility is uncertain.

Carly says Morgan should have been committed and Kiki was shot because they left Morgan to his own devices. Andre says he’s in the hospital now and his medication will be adjusted. He also suggests frequent blood tests to make sure he’s taking it. And more therapy. Carly asks what if he won’t comply? Andre says if he doesn’t, Morgan will go to prison. Sonny doesn’t like that, but Andre says it’s all the leverage they’ve got.

Fantasy Kiki asks if this happened because of Morgan. He says she wasn’t supposed to be there and she brings up the phone message he left. He gets ready to jump again, saying no one can help him. Kiki says she can, the only way to stop the pain is to end it and they’ll do it together. She takes his hand.

Paul says he’ll deal with Ava in his own time, in his own way. He says obviously Jordan is feeling left out and Jordan says she has every right to be involved. She has a warrant for Ava’s arrest, but thinks there’s more to the story and she’s going to get it from Ava. Paul says the case is bigger than the local PCPD and she can’t arrest Ava. Jordan says watch.

Real Kiki is going to ICU. Griffin tells Ava that Kiki is young, strong and has people that love her, so have faith.

Obrecht points out Ava and Franco hugging, and tells Nina that Franco needs her attention. Wise move.

Carly tells Sonny she’s terrified for Morgan, and that because of the guns, Kiki is fighting for her life. Sonny again says they’re not his guns. Carly says it’s still not normal the way he runs his life. Sonny might as well go legit, since we don’t know what he really does anyway. For all I know, he hangs out in the park all day.

Andre calls out Nurse Ashley for her terrible nursing. Obrecht says someone is fooling around on the roof.

Fantasy Kiki tells Morgan if he ends it, there’s no more pain. One more step, and both of their suffering will be ended. They get ready to jump, Morgan says he’s ready. Michael pops out of the roof door and asks, ready for what? Are all of Sonny’s kids this stupid?

Maxie says she hopes Nathan isn’t soured on weddings because there’s still one more to go. He asks who’s getting married. Maxie gets in the bed with him, and asks him to marry her.

Franco tells Ava the doctor was probably lowering her expectations so he looks like a genius when Kiki recovers. Nina gives Ava Kiki’s jewelry for safe-keeping.

Paul comes in and says he’s sorry to Ava. Ava says it’s all his fault and she’s going to kill him. Not so loud, Ava.

Carly goes to the bathroom to wash the blood off of her hands. She spaces out, thinking about the events at the pier.

Michael tells Morgan he’s been looking for him and what is he doing on that ledge. Fantasy Kiki tells him to get rid of Michael. Michael asks who he was talking to. Morgan says Kiki, but Michael tells him he’s in ICU. Morgan says to go away, he wants to be alone. Andre pops out and Morgan starts talking about killing himself. It’s getting like Grand Central Station up on that roof.

Kiki is scrubbing her hands like a maniac. Griffin comes in and asks if she’s all right. She tells him no.

Morgan says every day is worse and he wants to stop hurting people. Andre says if he commits suicide that everyone will want to know why. Morgan says the pills were supposed to fix everything an they didn’t.Andre says give it more time.Morgan talks about his ED and says what kind of life is that, so he went off the pills to prove he’s a man with a purpose and then did stupid things. He talks about Darby, Kiki, and what happened at the pier. He says he screwed up and Kiki was shot because of him. Andre says it’s a lot to think about, but think about a time he was happy, before he felt like he was down a hole.

Morgan talks about seeing his baby sister. Andre says it wasn’t that long ago and he can get back to that. Sonny pops out and says he can fight his way out of the hole.

Maxie says she realizes that she was on an anti-marriage tear, but things are different now. She loves Nathan and wants a future with him. He says he loves her too, but no.

Ava goes crazy on Paul. Paul says she won’t do Kiki any good in jail and asks to speak with her privately.

Carly asks Griffin how Kiki is. He says she’s off to a good start, but that’s as much as he can say. Carly says yeah, doctor/patient confidentiality like he had with Sonny. She asks if he knew that Sonny was keeping his progress a secret to better fight his enemies. She asks how the Hippocratic Oath and “do no harm” is working for him.

Anna asks Jordan if she’s going to arrest Ava since Paul isn’t too keen on it. Jordan says Anna knows more since she was working with Paul behind her back. Anna says she learned about the shipment five minutes before it happened and there are a lot of loose ends. Jordan says she’s going after Paul for the Carrrlos cover-up. Anna says if she does that, she’ll have to arrest Anna too.

Paul tells Ava that Jordan is planning to arrest her. Ava says if she goes down, she’s taking him with her.

Morgan babbles about Kiki and Sonny tries to talk him down. Sonny says he knows how Morgan feels and that he wanted to do the same thing at one time, but now he’s living proof that you can find a way out. He asks if Morgan wants to hurt his family. Sonny gets on the ledge with him. He says if Morgan jumps, they’re jumping together. Then Michael pushes them both off he roof. Not really. Just seeing if you’re paying attention.

Nathan says maybe one day he’ll marry Maxie, when she really wants to get married. He reminds her of what she said on Valentine’s Day. She says things have changed. He says that’s only because he got shot. He wants her to want to get married on her own free will and he wants to get it right because she’s worth it.

Anna tells Jordan about how Paul caused the Carrrlos trail to go cold, and there’s been no arrest for Duke’s murder. She asks for more time and tells Jordan she’ll have more people to arrest than she knows what to do with. Anna begs her for a few weeks. She says she wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t vital to the case. Jordan says okay, but she’d better not regret it and Anna is pushing the limits of their friendship.

Griffin says he heard about the violence and wondered if he played a role. He wondered if it would have been different if he hadn’t kept Sonny’s secret. Carly says a lot of people were to blame, including herself, but not him. He gets a text that Kiki is going to ICU. He tells Carly that he doesn’t see a failure, but a woman struggling to do what’s right for her family, but it’s not easy considering Sonny’s line of work.

Morgan says Sonny has no reason to jump. Sonny says Morgan is the reason, because if he jumps, sonny has failed as a father and he’ll die of a broken heart anyway. He says we either jump or go back in and be with family and friends. Morgan steps down.

Paul tells Ava they’re on the same side. She says only because he forced her. Griffin comes to get Ava she tells Paul she doesn’t care what he does, just deal with it.Ava goes in to see Kiki.

Maxie says she supposes Nathan is right. He’s getting drowsy and she leaves.

Jordan tells Paul she has a warrant for Ava’s arrest. He asks to see it and then rips it up. He tells Jordan Ava was cooperating with the justice department the whole time and has immunity. Bye, Felicia…I mean, Jordan.

Ava speaks to Kiki even though she’s unconscious, telling her that her mother will be right there. Then she sings All Through the Night while we see what everyone is doing.

Sonny brings Morgan back to the hospital ward and Carly hugs him. Andre takes him back to his room. Lots of pondering from everyone.

Next week, the question of who is Claudette is posed, Jason asks about the Jake’s surgery, and Anna says go ahead and arrest her.

People’s Couch Quotes

We have a new couple this week, Budd and Mackenna, who are boyfried/girlfriend. They seem funny and cute and have a large dog which is always a plus with me.

Dogs played a part in this week’s episode, since the Couches watched the Westminster Dog Show. Joe, of the Resnick family, brought in a special guest for the occasion, a sweet, plump, older Pug, who seemed to react only when there were dogs who looked similar to him on the screen. A couple of the Couch’s dogs did tricks, with Mackenna’s dog throwing up and eating it slightly off camera (thank you), proving once again how pets are out to embarrass you; and Peewee, who watches TV with Julie and Brandy, giving a demonstration of humping his toy penguin. Although he was egged on by Julie.

Does no one else see that Kanye West is doing an entire fashion line from this look? Scott, referring to the zombies in The Walking Dead.

The only appropriate condiments are sweet relish, ketchup, ranch dressing and Miracle Whip, not mayonnaise. Emerson while watching Recipe for Deception.
