What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

It was only a matter of time. I missed the beginning, but here are the highlights I gathered. At the dance, Sonny/Mike told Nina that Eli wasn’t all he was cracked up to be, but she didn’t want to hear it. Olivia met Dante at the hospital, thinking he could use seeing a friendly face after his session with Doc. He said he was glad she was looking out for him and Rocco. Maxie went to Nathan’s grave, wearing a widow’s disguise – i.e. big, dark glasses and a scarf – and told him what happened at the wedding. She said, now she felt trapped. Brook came to visit Chase, and he asked her to keep him company until Willow got back. Anna told Finn that Chase had been poisoned by Peter. Jordan came to see Carly, who told her that Cyrus had Florence back. Jordan asked Carly to let her do her job. That’s when I sat down to watch.

Phyllis tells Jax, when his call upset Nina, she took the phone, and asked him not to pressure her. He didn’t listen then, and him showing up there isn’t respecting Nina’s request now. If he thinks he’s going to sweet talk her into helping him, think again. They’re not off to a good start. He says he’s glad she and Lenny are looking after Nina, but Phyllis says, Nina doesn’t need looking after. She’s a strong, brilliant, beautiful woman. He says, that’s the reason he loves her, and Lenny says he’s about to get the tone. Phyllis says, he is. For someone who claims to love Nina, he sure broke her heart.

Sonny tells Nina, one more thing about Eli, then he’ll stop. She says, forever? and he says, for tonight. He looked into Eli’s failed business venture in San Francisco. She asks how he did that, and he says he made some calls. She asks, why? Eli was up front about losing his shirt, and Sonny says, it turns out, the real story is, Eli was arrested for embezzlement. His partners tried to press charges… Eli says the operative word is tried. The charges were dropped. Sonny says, Eli agreed to a settlement. He’s not a lawyer, but he thinks when you’re innocent, you do everything to clear your name, and Eli settled. Eli says a settlement costs less than a trial, and Sonny says, unless you’re guilty, and want it over with. Eli says it was over with until Sonny/Mike dug it up. They’re talking about something that happened 3000 miles away. What does he want? He asked questions, and Eli gave him honest answers, but that wasn’t enough. Sonny went poking thought his life to find something to embarrass him in front of Nina and his friends. Nina says Eli doesn’t have to talk about it, but Eli says he’ll bring it out in the open. It’s simple. He hit rock bottom, and made restitution. He came there to start over. Hasn’t Sonny ever derailed his life so bad that he bent over backward to get back on track? Oh, he forgot. Sonny doesn’t know what he’s done.

Brook says if she’s keeping Willow’s seat warm, that must mean Willow and Chase are back on track. Chase says, it seems that way. When he wakes up, she’s there, and she looks at him like you want someone to look at you when you wake up. It’s the only thing making this bearable. She says, points to Willow, and to any woman who can bring a smile to his handsome face.

Michael tells Willow, it’s getting harder for Chase to hide that he’s hurting, and she says she doesn’t understand. How did Chase get so sick so fast? They’re doing test after test, and still, no one knows what to do or where to start. Michael puts his head in his hands, and she asks if he wants to tell her what bothering him, or does she already know? He says he feels terrible. Chase is his friend, and he doesn’t want to hurt him… She says, but he wishes she’d told Chase, and he says he wishes she’d had the chance. It’s terrible, wishing Chase would get well, so they can break his heart. What does that say about him? She tells him, it says he’s an honest man in a terrible spot. She thinks, she hopes, that she’s honest and in the same spot. He says, being together as a couple, and spending time with Wiley in their home, he wants to be back there. She says she does too.

Finn asks what Anna is talking about. How did Peter poison Chase? Anna says, it was a special formula, and Finn says he’s going to kill Peter. She says, he can’t, but he says he’s a doctor, and knows how to kill someone a thousand different ways. As for the oath, do no harm, killing Peter will prevent a lot of harm. She says, hear her out. The first thing was, Valentin – Finn says, another name he’s sick of hearing – discovered Jason didn’t kill Franco; Peter killed Franco. He says, of course (🍷). Did Franco even do anything, or was Peter just bored? She says Franco was recovering Drew’s memories, and he says, another one of Peter’s victims. She says, she and Valentin were trying to put together Peter’s crimes, and Franco was remembering. Peter needed leverage. Finn asks what that has to do with Chase, and  she says, Peter wanted to stop them from bringing him to justice. He says, why poison Chase? and she says, it was an accident. Peter was trying to poison him.

Finn says, somehow Peter screwed up, and poisoned Chase? Anna says, Peter has an antidote that can keep Chase alive, if not cure him altogether, and Finn asks how he gets it. She says Peter crushed the vial in front of her, but she thinks it was just to get to her, and he must have a supply, but Peter’s plan can backfire. She gives Finn a plastic bag with the remains of the vial in it, and says Finn can analyze it, and create his own antidote. He looks at the bag, and says, the vial could have been full of water, another one of Peter’s lies. She says, maybe. What is he going to do? He says, call the cops, but she says, not if he wants Chase to live.

Brook asks Chase if they know what’s wrong yet, and he says, it’s not food poisoning, and it’s not infectious. They’re still doing tests. She says, he came in last night, and they still don’t know what’s wrong? He says he developed neuropathy; another symptom. Brook says she knows neuropathy is not just another symptom. She came to cheer him up, but his mysterious illness has kneecapped her. He says she’s still making him feel better, making his mysterious illness all about her. She says he’d tell her if anything was wrong more than it is, right? and he says he’s tired and achy, but he’s sure they’ll figure it out soon. She says she needs him to be okay. She’s got something going on. He asks if something is up with the baby, but she says, it’s not the baby; it’s the baby’s father. He was slow to start, but now he’s amped up with controlling the situation. Dante comes to the door, and asks, is this a private party, or can anyone join? Chase says he’s not interrupting anything important, and Brook says, don’t talk like she’s not there. Dante says, believe him, everyone knows when she’s in the room. Her bodyguard is looking for her. She asks if he’s just saying that to get rid of her, and he asks if it matters. She leaves, and Dante asks how Chase is doing. Chase says, not knowing is the worst part. Whatever it is, keeps changing, and not for the better. Dante says he’s sorry, and Chase says, do him a favor and don’t say anything, especially to Brook. He thinks he scared her. Dante says other than, I don’t know, what are they saying? Chase says, they’re running more tests, and trying to make him comfortable, but that’s about it. He’s getting sick of waiting. They need to figure out what’s going on, like now.

Maxie tells Nathan, when she was walking down the aisle, looking at Peter, she really believed she was getting back some of the happiness she lost when he died. She thought her life was perfect again, but it was just a mirage. As it turns out, Peter’s not the wonderful man she thought. Waiting for her was an illusion, a disguise. It turns out, Peter was Henrik all along.

Nina tells Sonny, she’s made her share of mistakes, but she’s also had her share of second chances. Sonny asks if she’s stolen from her company, and she says, no, but she can say she’s taken things that weren’t hers. He asks if she gave them back, and she says, eventually. Eli says, as did he, but Sonny says, stealing from your own company is like stealing from family. It shows a lack of loyalty. Eli says he’s never heard it put that way, and Sonny says, it doesn’t surprise him. Why should Phyllis and Lenny trust Eli? Nina asks who Sonny is to judge after everything he’s done?

Jason says, Sonny told him how Shawn stepped up while he was gone; he appreciates it. Shawn says, Sonny has always done right by him. He was sorry to hear about Sonny’s passing. Jason asks if Shawn has a lot of friends looking out for him, but Shawn says they mostly look out for each other. Jason says, mostly? and Shawn says, Sonny is gone, but Cyrus isn’t. When there’s a shift in power, a man has to consider his own best interests.

Carly asks Jordan what doing her job looks like, and Jordan says she’s sure Carly is familiar with it. She knows an arrest when she sees it. Carly asks when Jordan is going to arrest Cyrus, and don’t tell her that she can’t comment on an ongoing investigation. She doesn’t want details; just a ballpark. When is Cyrus going to be back behind bars? Jordan says she’s getting close, and Carly says, is she? Sonny is dead, Jason is in prison, and Laura is stuck with a half-brother who’s going to start a mob war so epic, no one will be left standing. If Jordan wants Carly to sit on her hands while she solves the problem, Jordan is going to have to give her a lot more.

Eli asks what Sonny/Mike has done, and Nina says she doesn’t know what he’s done; none of them do. That’s the problem. She’s sorry, but until he finds out more about his past, Sonny isn’t in a position to judge. Sonny says he might not know his history, but he knows the kind person he is. What if she doesn’t trust the man in front of her, but trusts the man he was before he lost his memory? She says she doesn’t know. She just needs to clear her head. She’s going to get some fresh air, and find Phyllis and Lenny. Don’t fight. She leaves, and Eli says Sonny is telling Nina and everybody else to see him for who he is, and what he’s done, but maybe he’s not the one Nina needs to see through.

Willow says she’s more committed than ever to building a life with Michael and Wiley, but one of the reasons they got together was because of Chase and Sasha trying to help. They did what they thought was best. Michael says, now it’s their turn to do the best for Chase. She says she can’t end things right now. She can’t start a life with Michael by hurting Chase while he’s down. She knows it’s a lot to ask, but she’s thinking that together they can help each other get through whatever is going to happen. She asks if he’s okay, and he says he agrees Chase is a priority, and this is the best way to help him. It’s frustrating to wait, but that’s okay. He’ll wait as long as it takes.

On the phone, Brook says she doesn’t care what Valentin told him. He can’t roam the hospital searching for her. She’s on the 7th floor; 7 is after 6. Go there, and wait in the waiting area. Michael says she’s on a short leash, and Brook says, it’s a temporary, necessary evil. She thanks Willow, and Willow says, for what? Brook says, Chase isn’t nearly as cool, calm, and collected as he’s pretending to be. Willow staying with him is the only thing keeping him going. Willow says she’s just glad she can help. She should get back. Willow leaves, and Brook asks if there’s anything Michael wants to tell her.

Anna tells Finn, one of Peter’s conditions was that she not tell anyone. Finn says she let him know, and she says, of course (🍷), but he can’t let anyone else know. If he goes to the cops… He says he gets the picture. She tells him to analyze the pieces from the vial. In the best case, he can recreate the antidote, but if that’s not possible, he can narrow the tests down. Finn asks what she’s going to do while he does a reverse analysis to find an antidote for an unknown toxin. She says she’s not going to stand by and let Chase die.

Phyllis tells Jax, Nina was emotionally bent up when she got here. She was deeply wounded from the lies he and Carly told her. She’s healing, and asked for the time and space to do that. If he loves her, he’ll respect her wishes. He says he just needs to see her, and Phyllis asks, what about what she just said made him think that’s a good idea? Lenny says, Nina can decide for herself if she wants to see him. Too late. Nina sees him, and says, Jax.

Nina asks what Jax is doing there, and he says, he told her on the phone that he needed to talk to her in person. She says, and she told him, she’s not ready. Phyllis says he shouldn’t have come there. He needs to go. Lenny asks if Nina wants him to get Mike. He and Mike can walk Jax back to his car. Nina says, no, but they should go find Mike. He and Eli… Phyllis says, say no more, and Lenny says they won’t be far. They leave, and Jax says they’re very protective of her. She says, they’re good people, and he says, what about Eli and Mike? She says, they’re friends of Phyllis and Lenny’s, but they don’t get along. It’s nothing for him to be concerned about. She says, he told her that he wanted to talk for a minute. The clock’s ticking. He says, first, it’s good to see her, but she says, it’s not good to see him. He’s going to ruin everything.

Maxie says, Spinelli tried to warn her. So did Jason and Robert, even Dante, from the second he got home. Nathan’s mom tried too, but she thought Obrecht was the one with an agenda. Everything everyone told her that she refused to hear turned out to be true. Maybe Dante was right, and part of the reason she was drawn to Peter was because he’s Nathan’s half-brother. She convinced herself that Peter was like him, but they couldn’t be more different. Nathan was honest, when Peter is the biggest liar on the planet. Actually, the biggest lie in the whole thing was the one she was telling herself, that Peter was a good, decent man. Now she has to pretend she’s thinking about working things out; taking me time. God knows what Peter will do once he’s convinced it’s over. Robert is at home, covering for her, in case Peter makes one of his impromptu visits, and Britt… He’d be so proud of his sister. In a cosmic redemption move, Britt is actually helping her, which leads her to the worst part of the whole thing. The way she sees it, there’s only one way to protect her baby.

Jordan says she understands how frustrated Carly is. Jordan spent so many years trying to put Cyrus away. He pushes them to the brink, until they’re so desperate, they’ll do anything just to be done with him. Carly says she can’t disagree with that, and Jordan says they should disagree less. They’re on the same side as far as Cyrus is concerned. Carly says, the enemy of my enemy and all that? and Jordan says, yeah. Cyrus knows how to skirt the law, and stay outside of it where he’s not touched. Does it remind Carly of anyone else? Carly starts to protest at the comparison, but Jordan says what she wouldn’t give for some of Sonny’s insight. She’s sure Carly feels the same way. She promises she’s going to stop Cyrus this time. Carly says, if she’s finished, she’ll tell Jordan why she asked her there.

Jason tells Shawn, Sonny valued loyalty, and he values those who remain loyal. Cyrus is the problem… Shawn asks what Jason thinks he should do. Sonny is dead, and Jason is in there. If one weren’t true, he’d have a shot. Jason asks what he’s saying, and Shawn says, if he needs to do something about Cyrus, he’ll handle it himself. We see Shawn has a knife.

Jax asks what Nina means, ruin everything? and she says, she means her and this place, and the peace. He says he didn’t come to upset her, and she says of course (🍷) he didn’t, but here they are, and he’s upsetting her trying to make things better. He says he misses her, and he loves her. Pease don’t shut him out.

Phyllis asks if Sonny is by himself, and he says, not anymore. He asks where Lenny is, and she says, he got tired from dancing, so she sent him home to recover. She came over to referee him and Eli. Where is Eli? Sonny says, out of town, if they’re lucky, and she says Eli said Sonny might have a few words about him, and Sonny says he’ll tell her the same thing he told Nina. Back in San Francisco, Eli was arrested for embezzlement. She says she’s known a long time. When he came back, she could tell he was licking his wounds, but she decided to give him the time he needed to own up. Sonny asks if Eli told her that he’d been arrested, and she says, not yet. He guesses Eli is late, and she says she appreciates his instinct to protect her and Lenny, but it’s not his place to tell her about Eli’s past. He says, somebody had to. She’s way too trusting. She says, that’s why Sonny/Mike has a roof over his head. That’s not the only thing bothering him, is it? He tells her, something Nina said got under his skin. She said he had no right to judge Eli when he doesn’t know what he did before he lost his memory. She asks if it scares him, and he says, a little. Does it scare her? She says, no, and he asks, why not? She says, because the man she sees is honorable, kind, works hard, and has both feet on the ground. He’s a good friend, even if he’s over-protective, and best of all, he makes a mean bolognaise. He says she’s right about that last one, and she says, all of it. She doesn’t need to know anything else, but that’s her. He has to decide what he wants to know about himself.

Jax asks if he and Nina can go somewhere talk private. They’ll just tell Phyllis and Lenny where they’re going, so they don’t worry. Nina says she’s sorry. His minutes are up, and she’s not going anywhere with him.

Dante is talking baseball to Chase, when Willow comes back. She asks how it’s going, and Chase says, they were just catching up. Dante says he doesn’t know if it’s his riveting conversation that made Chase sleepy, or he’s boring Chase. He gets up, and says, it’s good to see him, and Chase says, it’s good to see Dante too. He thanks Dante for coming by, and Dante tells him to get well soon. There are parking tickets that need to be written, and pencils that need to be pushed. He leaves, and Willow asks if she can get anything for Chase. He looks tired. Suddenly, Chase is gripped with pain.

Anna tells Finn, Peter is focused on Maxie right now, and she’s letting him believe she’s caving to his demand for help. Finn asks how much time that will buy them, and she says she’s hoping it will distract Peter up until the baby is born. He says Peter strikes him as a multitasker, but she says, if she’s right, Peter has easy access to the antidote nearby. She can monitor his whereabouts. He says he has a better idea. Stay the hell out of it.

The guard has Shawn in a hold, and asks what the hell he was thinking. We see a bloody knife, and Shawn says, Jason came at him. What was he supposed to do? Jason lies bleeding on the floor.

Carly tells Jordan, this wasn’t a courtesy call. Jordan knows from TJ what Cyrus is capable of. She wants to warn Jordan that Cyrus has his mother back. She might want to protect her family. Jordan appreciates that, and says, here’s one for Carly. Cyrus is working so hard to cultivate his image as an upstanding citizen, it’s giving them time to build a case. Carly hopes Jordan is right, and hopes Jordan keeps doing what she’s doing, but watch her back. Jordan says she will, and tells Carly to do the same. She leaves.

Maxie says she’s looked at the situation from every possible angle, and it comes down to this. She can’t condemn her daughter to a life with Peter as her father. Maxie starts to cry, and says, so if keeping her daughter safe means having to give her up, and pretend she’s dead, that’s what she’s going to do. Olivia listens in. I’m relieved, since I thought Peter might be listening.

On the phone, Brook says she’s coming. She slips back into an alcove, and adjusts her fake belly. She quickly walks past the reception desk.

Dante tells Michael that Willow is with Chase, and Michael says, Chase needs her right now. Dante asks if Michael is okay, and says, he’s a good dude. Michael says, thanks, but not always. Willow is, and he’s just trying to follow her example.

Willow says maybe Portia can give Chase something for the pain, but he says, don’t go; it’s starting to let up. She sits back down, and he tells her, Portia said it would come in waves. It will pass. She tells him to let her know if she needs to do anything, but he says she’s already doing it. He might not be able to hold her hand, but he can still look at her. Seeing her face makes him feel better.

**Finn tells Anna not to come anywhere near Chase. All the times Anna pushed him away to protect him from her world, he should have listened. He was pulled into the world of her psychotic family, and they poisoned his. She did this, not just Peter. She let Peter in. She asks what he wants her to do, and he says, pray he can find an antidote for what her nephew used to poison his son. He stomps off.

Phyllis suggests she and Sonny make a deal to put this nonsense between him and Eli to rest for the night, and enjoy themselves. He promised Nina another dance. Find her, and dance that dance. What does he say? He says she can be real pushy, and she laughs, saying, that’s how she gets things done. Go find Nina. We see a guy dressed like a cowboy near the refreshments. He’s wearing a bandana that hides half his face, and a gun.

Nina tells Jax, don’t talk. She’s still angry that he hid the identity of her daughter for months to protect his ex-wife. And in doing that, he kept her grandchild from her. He thinks saying it’s because he loves and wants to protect her, makes it okay. It doesn’t make it okay. He doesn’t love her. He asks how she can say that, and she says he didn’t respect her. She said she needed space and time away, yet here he is. If he loved and respected her, he wouldn’t be there. She needs him to go right now, and needs him to stay gone.

On a cell phone, Shawn says, Jason is on his way to the hospital. Carly thanks him, and says she’ll take it from there. She smiles.

Tomorrow, Molly tells TJ to congratulate her, Sonny tries to prevent a robbery at the dance, and Shawn says, it’s been a while.

🍹 I’m catching up on Overserved, and IMO, the only problem with this show is that it’s only a half-hour. LVP had guests Jeanie Mai and Meagan Good to Villa Rosa for A Night in Morocco. Jeanie video chatted with her mom, who was also at a party, and joked that next time she wanted to be paid. She seemed like a lot of fun. They played a dare game, and Jeanie did some twerking she learned from Cardi B, and we found out that Meagan once had a pet monkey who threw poop at the walls. Yeah. That’s the problem with exotic pets. They shouldn’t be pets. And they will wreck your house. Pandora brought out Moroccan tea in glasses, toting them in a lantern frames, which was pretty fancy. They played Get Pumped, and we found out Jeanie likes to do it with the lights on, because she likes to see what she’s working with. Very sensible. LVP had discovered Meagan loved The Bachelor, so she conjured up Nick Viall on her tablet to give Meagan The Bachelor Experience. Nick played along as all the women gave him their opening pick-up lines, and he picked Meagan for the final rose. In the next episode – technically tonight – LVP will host Lala Kent and Anna Camp. I’ll be watching it in the wee hours.

🏖 It finally came. The finale of The Worst House Ever Summer House. Stephen wanted to make sure he and Lindsay were on the same page, and in Lindsay’s interview, she said she didn’t need flowers every day; she just needed him to show up. He was finally boyfriend she’d been asking for. Hannah told Des she’d snapped after her sit-down with Luke. He told her not to be upset about getting angry, since that group gets angry over a pool noodle. Okay, maybe he didn’t say pool noodle, but it was something just as stupid, and pool noodle sounds funnier. Paige said it was the first time ever in relationship that she knew what she wanted – not to be in a relationship. She thought Perry would be blindsided, since she decided to sit on this information, instead of telling him right away. Amanda and Kyle decided to have a pretend white wedding, and Kyle said it was the first summer that he didn’t want to end. It was epic. They played Dirty Jenga, where things were written on the pieces like, show us your… never mind. They drank and acted like idiots. Amanda said if Lindsay got engaged at her pretend wedding, she’d lose her sh*t. The now sensible Carl left the party early. Lindsay got pissed for no reason, and told Stephen, STFU, and he said he was out. Whee! The roller coaster ride continues. Very mature behavior too. And how old is Lindsay now? 45?

Lindsay whined, why does this happen every time? and I answered, because you get drunk and act stupid. Kyle just wanted to eat Tostido’s, which was possibly the most rational thing he’s done all summer. Danielle told Robert, welcome to the house. Lindsay said Stephen’s defense mechanism was to run away, but I thought it was his mechanism to stop listening to her drunken rants. Lindsay asked Danielle if she was the problem in her relationship with Stephen, and when Danielle said, yes, she was like, what? She admitted she was constantly testing Stephen, but didn’t trust him not to leave her again. She said his running again made her question everything. In Luke’s interview, he said, now that Hannah was occupied, a weight had been lifted from him.

In Ciara’s interview, she acknowledged how crazy it had been for her to stay in a house with her ex and a bunch of strangers. She said she was alive to tell the story, and loved the girls. Lindsay and Stephen apologized to each other, but Lindsay said it had shown her that they weren’t ready to live together. She told him that she had abandonment issues, and if he ran away again, it was over. Everything looked elegant – all white with tealights – for the pretend wedding, but I figured it was only a matter of time before it got messy. Kyle and Amanda walked down the aisle together, after Kyle said they were presenting themselves, but there was no music, which seemed odd. Carl officiated, and was quite funny. Ciara caught the bouquet, but said she shouldn’t have, since she had no potential. Speeches were made, and in Hannah’s interview, she said it had always been the three of them – her, Amanda, and Paige – but because she chose to stand up to Kyle, and Paige kept quiet, being a bridesmaid was Paige’s reward. Then came the dancing. And the drinking. And a fog machine. And Danielle officially becoming Robert’s girlfriend. So is this a thing now? I’m surprised this group doesn’t send out announcements when they become boyfriend/girlfriend. It ended with everyone jumping in the pool, and Paige saying there’s no one that she’d choose to spend summer with, other than these psychos. Everybody loved everybody, until…

Next time, the reunion. Kyle walks. So does Hannah. And oh my God, there’s going to be a Nightmare in the Snow Winter House. Don’t these people have real jobs?

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

I didn’t even bother checking the guide, since I knew it would just be wrong, and also knew today’s GH Flashback was from May 5th, 2020. Revive your memory below, or if you’re a stickler for details, go to:

https://tvwiththeresa.wordpress.com/2020/05/06/may-5-2020-elizabeth-tells-nikolas-to-let-spencer-decide-lucci-speaks-jax-has-an-episode-kelly-gets-good-news-nick-sings-star-wars/

Franco asked Ava what Nikolas did, and Ava said she thought she was supposed to be comforting him. Franco said he was trying to get her to open up, and she admitted she and Nikolas had an argument about Spencer, and it got ugly. Nikolas said Kiki had despised her, and she’d driven Kiki away. He told her that he hoped Carly’s influence saved Avery. Franco said Ava’s marriage was toxic. She should leave the dark prince to brood on his own; she didn’t need any of it. At the hospital, Nikolas said Elizabeth was obviously upset, and she told him that he’d driven her sister out of Port Charles, causing her to abandon her daughter. The Nikolas she knew would never do that; that’s not a friend. Nikolas said he was at a crossroads, and needed her help with a decision. In her office at Crimson, Nina thanked Jax for talking to Charlotte, and Jax asked how it went. She said Lulu showed up, talked to Valentin, and agreed to drop the petition for full custody. They’re going to share custody 50/50. On the phone, Carly asked Michael how it went with Diane, and told him that Diane would make sure he had every advantage when they went to court to fight for Wiley. At the MetroCourt, Nelle asked if Martin was prepared to win sole custody for her, and he said that depended on her. Still arguing at the clothing drive, Kristina told Sam that she’d never asked for help. Sam took it upon herself to act like a savior. Sam asked if she was supposed to watch Shiloh exploit and brainwash Kristina. She loved Kristina, and Kristina had given up on them, not the other way around. Kristina said she’d been in pain and depressed. She’d felt hopeless and alone when she joined DoD. Where was Sam’s concern then? Sam had probably expected her to be a loser. Sam suggested Kristina go to therapy. Sam had been on trial for murder, gone to prison, and lost time with her children. She couldn’t be around her family now. Kristina said Sam had wanted to go against Shiloh, just like she enjoyed sneaking around, violating her parole. Sam was addicted to danger, and the only reason Sam and Jason were still in love was because of her.

Elizabeth told Nikolas to find someone else to talk to, and he said Spencer was willing to explore their relationship again. Elizabeth said she told him Spencer just needed time to heal, but he told her not to pop the champagne cork yet. Spencer had agreed under the condition he leave Ava. Elizabeth said that was a get-out-of-jail-free card. Franco told Ava, she had the gallery, but she said it wasn’t an island. Franco got that she wanted to be queen of the castle, but thought she should find a real prince, and dump the frog. Ava started babbling about where to hang the portrait, and Franco said she didn’t need to do that with him. He knew the real reason she’d married Nikolas. Carly told Michael that Diane was the best, and was thoroughly prepared to show he was the better parent. Nelle could try conning the judge, but the truth would come out. Jax told Nina, there was nothing worse than being caught in the middle of a nightmare custody battle. There was a difference between a parent who adored their child, and one who was good for them, and Valentin fell short. Nina said Charlotte made Valentin a better person. Carly showed up, and asked if Nina had something they could use against Nelle in the custody hearing. Nelle told Martin that she had a respectable job and had just bought a house. She was going to win because Michael had just suffered a shattering breakup; he’d been cheated on. Martin asked if she’d leaked it to The Invader, but she said Wiley’s mother wasn’t mean-spirited or malicious, but she expected him to tell the judge about Michael’s failed relationship. Martin asked if Nelle could keep a partner, or did they all die? Franco said, in a weird way, Ava’s choices were motivated by love, but he didn’t understand Nikolas. He thought she was punishing herself for Kiki’s death. Elizabeth told Nikolas that he had a long way to go before he turned back to being the good guy she knew. He said if he divorced Ava, he’d lose everything, and she asked if Spencer wasn’t worth it. She wondered if he had feelings for Ava. Kristina said Sam was a danger junkie, and couldn’t stand the day to day. She’d wanted domesticity with Drew, but when the real deal came back, Sam went back to ride or die. Molly said Jason loved Sam, and Kristina said she there was no question Jason would die for Sam. He just couldn’t live with her.

Nelle told Martin that her fiancé’s death had been an unfortunate accident. She’d pleaded guilty to spare his family any further pain. Martin said he’d get out the violin, and she said she prevented Ryan’s escape at her own peril. Martin said she was good, but if he brought up Michael’s relationships, hers would also be called into question. She said Shiloh was the love of her life, and their relationship was tragically cut short by Sam, who was a good friend of Michael’s family. Sam made her a widow. He asked if she had any character witnesses that could testify as to her integrity, humanity, and compassion. Nina told Carly, she hated to admit it, but Nelle had been an exemplary employee. She couldn’t give Carly what she didn’t have. Carly said Wiley would need surgery again in another six months, and if it was up to Nelle, he wouldn’t get it. Nina asked if Carly had listened to Nelle’s reasons, and said she thought Wiley would be better served if Michael compromised like Lulu and Valentin had. They put their issues aside for Charlotte’s sake, and Charlotte is better off. She thought shared custody would be the best situation for Wiley. Carly said Nelle had won Nina over. Nikolas told Elizabeth that she had no idea what it cost him to survive the shooting and the fall. The entire time, he’d been planning his return, and all that kept him alive was his need to reclaim his  name and birthright. Spencer had no idea what it was like to live without a fortune. Elizabeth said, 10% was still a fortune, and it wasn’t like Spencer would be out on the streets. How did he know what Spencer wanted without talking to him? Would Spencer rather have money or his dad? Ava told Franco that he was wrong, but he said she sabotaged her happiness because of Kiki. Ava didn’t kill her, Ryan did, and she’d rather do battle with Nikolas than deal with her feelings about Kiki. She told him to stop caring, and go back to the psycho he used to be.

Nelle told Martin that Carly had locked her on the hospital roof, and signed her name to documents allowing unnecessary surgery on her child. Martin said, so she had no one to vouch for her character? She said she visited Wiley every day in the hospital, and even brought the nurses donuts. They could attest to her maternal instincts. He said he needed someone she’d known longer than a month. Michael was going to have a parade of pillars of the community, family, and friends, which she lacked. Nina told Carly that she thought Nelle wanted to be the best mother she could, and Carly said Nelle was a pathological liar, incapable of accepting kindness, or showing love and affection. She would leave Wiley emotionally damaged. Nina said what if Nelle was affected by mental illness? and Carly said Nelle was a sociopath, and totally playing Nina. Jax said he thought Nelle was taking advantage of Nina, and Nina asked, what if Carly had been judged on how she used to be? If she’d had no one in her life who’d stood by her, who would she be now? Sam asked what Kristina meant. Kristina had always been supportive of her and Jason’s relationship; why was she saying that Jason would want to be away from her? Kristina said it was hotter when they were forced to be apart, and the relationship wouldn’t survive without drama. Nikolas told Elizabeth, he was afraid of Spencer’s answer. Spencer had said he didn’t care about the money, but he was used to the lifestyle. Elizabeth said Nikolas couldn’t make assumptions about teen boys. Cameron had hated Franco, and now they were each other’s biggest fans. Nikolas wondered how two totally different people could find happiness, and Elizabeth said Franco had stood by her when she was the town pariah, and they’d connected over art. Franco told Ava that he wasn’t a psycho anymore, even if Ava’s invite said that. Ava said he had a tumor to blame it on; she didn’t. He said he still had to deal with the people he’d hurt in his head; it didn’t go away. Ava asked how he coped, and he said, Elizabeth and the boys, making art, and being of service. She said she didn’t do healthy well. She wasn’t good at finding love, but she knew how to make money, and played to her strengths. He said by exploiting the bad boy genius artist, and she asked if he was okay with that. Nelle told Martin that she had no family, but a good lawyer could make her terrible childhood work. Martin said the judge would want to know if she had someone to call in an emergency. It would be a hard sell with her having opposed Wiley’s medical procedure. To be honest, her best hope was for shared custody.

Jax suggested Carly and Nina dial it down. He told Nina, even when he and Carly were at odds, he never thought Carly would use Josslyn to spite him. Nina said it was better to have the love of both parents, and Jax said she couldn’t compare Carly and Nelle. Carly said she never risked Josslyn’s health or safety to punish the family, and there was more to motherhood than biology. Nina didn’t understand because she’d never been a mother. Nelle asked why she was paying Martin so much, and wanted a refund on her advance, unless he could ensure she’d get sole custody. He asked if she was prepared to be a mother. Ava told Franco, talent could only get you so far, and she had to remind the public who Franco was. He said he was okay with that, but he wasn’t so sure about Elizabeth. They’d had an argument, and he’d hurt her feelings. Ava said she knew Elizabeth would forgive him. Let her bring the bad boy back to the art world. it was the one bright spot in the foolish, ridiculous life she’d built for herself. Nikolas told Elizabeth, this was about Franco, not him, and Elizabeth said she wasn’t thrilled that Ava was using Franco’s criminal history to promote his art. Franco had said that wasn’t how the art world worked, but she didn’t know that because she wasn’t a real artist. Nikolas said he was there when she found her talent and found solace in art. If she could have developed her vision, she would have put Franco to shame. She wasn’t afraid to show her soul. Nelle said Martin was accusing her of being a bad mom, and he told her that wasn’t what he’d said. Fighting for custody was easy; raising a child was hard. Nelle said she was alone for the nine months she carried Wiley, and alone when she gave birth. Martin suggested she read some baby books and blogs, and make sure she talked about the minutes she’d had with her son. He told her to wear not-waterproof mascara, and find a character witness, preferably someone not in prison. She said he didn’t want to let her down.

Carly said she knew Nina believed she would have had a connection with her child, and been the best mother, and she would have, because she’s a good person. Nelle didn’t have it in her. She’d handed Michael’s baby to Brad and said the baby had died. Nina said, maybe she was telling the truth; Brad lied about everything else. Carly said Nelle didn’t give a damn about Wiley. All she cared about was hurting Michael. She asked Nina to think about that, and tell her if she can’t remember anything they could use. Carly left, and Nina asked Jax if she was wrong. Carly waited for the elevator, and Nelle came out. Sam told Kristina, something always got in the way of her and Jason being together, like Shiloh. Alexis said Sam went to prison for Kristina, and Kristina said, now Sam was on parole. If she stayed away from Jason, she’d be home free, but Sam can’t help herself. She had to break the rules and spice things up. Jason appreciated Sam when he wasn’t busy taking care of Carly and Sonny. Jason was always busy cleaning up their messes, while Sam was home taking care of the kids. Jason would die for Sam, but his first priority was Sonny and Carly. Nikolas said he had no right to ask Elizabeth to trust him, but to give him a chance. She had the soul of a true artist. She asked him to think about calling Spencer. Franco said Ava’s life would be more bearable without Nikolas, and she suggested he apologize to Elizabeth. They had a good marriage, and could make it better. Tell Elizabeth that all he cared about was making her happy. He said he was glad he could help, and Ava said he did, more than he knew.

Nelle asked if Carly was trash talking her to Nina. Carly said she’d been trying, but Nina seemed to think she and Nelle were friends. Too bad Nelle was going to betray Nina, like she’d done everyone else. Carly left, and in the office, Jax told Nina that Carly had some good points. Nelle listened outside the door, and Nina said she was aware of Nelle’s dark side, but she’d seen Nelle’s vulnerable side, and didn’t think it was an act. Jax disagreed, but Nina said maybe Nelle just needed a person to believe in her. Maybe she was that person. Nelle came in, and Jax couldn’t leave fast enough. Nelle thanked Nina for standing up for her, and Nina said, don’t make her regret it. Nelle said she wouldn’t, and had a big favor to ask. Wiley’s custody hearing was tomorrow, and she had no one to vouch for her. Carly made sure of that. Nelle said she was wondering, would Nina willing to testify on her behalf?

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Drew gets in the car with Curtis, saying the PCPD is looking for Shiloh. Robert is aware of it, as well as all the authorities across the state. As long as Shiloh can’t find him or Jason. he can’t access Drew’s memories. Curtis asks if he’s sure about that. He’s got the flashdrive, he’s got Cabot, and he’s desperate as hell. How do they know he won’t use it on somebody else? Drew says, they don’t.

Franco walks into 721 Dewitt. He hears Cabot saying he wanted to complete his life’s work, and Shiloh telling him, quit whining and get it done. Cabot says Shiloh really is an odious son of a bitch. The DVX was more to his liking, and they had facilities. Franco walks in, and asks, what the hell is going on? He pushes them away from Cameron, and yells Cameron’s name. He asks what they did to him, and Shiloh says, relax. They didn’t hurt the kid.

Sasha is wheeled into the ER, interrupting Lucas’s phone call to Brad. She has a temperature of 103, and is unconscious. Nina says, one minute she was fine, and the next, she collapsed. Please help her daughter.

Lucy needs a drink. She tells the MetroCourt bartender to make a double. She says she looks like she should be waiting for Humphrey Bogart or James Bond, but she’s alone, and teetering on one of those days. A friend of hers nearly died in a horrible, filthy freezer on a property she was desperate to sell. Talk about curb appeal – not. The bartender says he’s sorry. She says her fiend is going to be okay. She feels traumatized though. Her friend could have died, and the randomness of life occurred to her. She’s having trouble making sense of it. She needs drink; a double. He asks, a double of what? She ponders this.

Jason walks through the hospital hallways with Sam. He says she’s supposed to be resting, but she says she needs fresh air. Finn – who is wearing loud shoes today – says she’s not supposed to be up. She could have an infection. Michael comes by, and tells Finn, save it. Sam doesn’t like be told what to do. It’s good see her up and about, even if it’s against the doctor’s orders. He’s glad Jason got to her in time. Jason says Sam deserves the credit for hanging in there. Really? I swear, I’m never letting it go that she could have gotten the duct tape off her wrists easily. Sam says all she had to do was think about the people she loves. There was no way she was letting Shiloh win.

Elizabeth calls Cameron’s phone. She says, it’s late, and she needs to hear from him.

Franco asks, what the hell is going on? Shiloh holds a gun on him, and tells him, shut up. Franco asks why Cameron is unconscious, and Shiloh says he needs Cabot to get to work right now. He needs to access Drew’s memories. Cabot says he warned Shiloh it was a delicate procedure, and Franco asks what the hell they’re talking about. What does this have to do with Drew, and what did they do to Cameron?

Nina asks if Sasha can hear her. Sasha opens her eyes, and Nina tells her that she’s in the hospital. They’ll figure out what’s wrong. Lucas comes in, and asks how she’s feeling. She says, sick. He lists symptoms, and she says she has all of it; her whole body hurts. He asks if anything is localized, but she says, it’s everywhere, even her fingernails. He says she’s being given fluids, which should help. Her fever is extremely high, and he asks when it started. She says she was just tired earlier. He says he’s running some tests, and they’ll figure out what’s going on. Nina says Sasha probably picked up a bug. They’re going to test her, and fix her right up. Valentin joins them, and tells her, try not to worry.

Elizabeth asks why Sam is up. Sam says she needed air, and Elizabeth says she needs to rest. Jason says they’re still searching for Shiloh, and Michael suggests he and Drew lie low. Shiloh can’t do a memory transfer without a subject. Finn says he was just explaining that almost anyone can be used. Michael says, they don’t have to be identical twins? and Finn says, not necessarily. Michael says, so anyone could be implanted with Drew’s memories and personality? Finn says, in theory, which means it would wipe out the subject’s own personality. Michael says, like what happened to Drew. Michael gets a text from Nina, saying Sasha is in the ER. Sam tells him, go, and Jason says, let them know what’s happening. Elizabeth says, Finn was saying…? He says, theoretically, the procedure could be performed on anyone. Elizabeth says, so Shiloh could grab anyone off the street and turn them into Drew. Finn says, anyone.

Curtis knows it’s personal for Drew, and Drew says, hell, yes. Shiloh literally has Drew’s life in his hands. Curtis wonders what Drew could have known that would make it worth going through all this. Drew says they have to find Shiloh before someone ends up with the life he lost.

Franco tells Cameron to wake up, and Shiloh tells him, step away. Cameron says, flashdrive. Franco asks, what is all this? and Shiloh says, just a little experiment. It has nothing to do with him. Cameron says, Drew. Franco says, Drew’s flashdrive. Ohhh. The lightbulb comes on, and he realizes the drive Chelsea was talking about was the flashdrive. He asks if the psychic is in on it, and if they did it. Did they give Cameron Drew’s memories?

Nina asks Valentin, what if it’s serious? Sasha got the flu shot. Michael joins them, and asks how Sasha is, but Nina says they don’t know yet. Lucas says they got the test results, and she does have influenza, but it’s no kind of flu he’s dealt with before. Michael goes in to see Sasha, and asks, what happened? She says she was drop kicked by a virus. He asks how she’s feeling, and she says like she wishes she was back in their island paradise. He says, him too.

Drew asks if Curtis’s connection with the phone company came through. Curtis says he’s lucky he still has a few favors left. His friend gave him a number that Shiloh started calling around the time the flashdrive was stolen. Drew says, Cabot? Curtis says, you know it. She’s checking it, and forwarding the link. A record of calls Cabot made on his cell phone comes up. Curtis says, besides Shiloh, there’s the MetroCourt – Drew says it’s probably when he made a reservation – and a GH number. Drew tells him that Finn said Cabot needed to get a drug to complete the experiment. He was probably checking on it. Curtis says, there’s another local number. He gives the number to Drew. Drew calls it, and laughs. He says, you will not believe who Cabot is calling in Port Charles.

Sam asks Finn if he just told them Cabot could use the memory transfer on anyone. Finn says, that’s not the worst of it. At best, the memory transfer is a success; at worst, the subject comes out in a vegetative state. Sam says, it’s on her. It was a set-up; a trap. She ran into Shiloh at Rice Plaza. He was probably following her. He happened to mention he was staying at the Midwood, and he was going to see his lawyer. The whole time he was playing her. Now some innocent victim will be snatched off the street, and pay the price.

Elizabeth calls Franco’s phone. She leaves a message, asking if Cameron is with him. She’s hoping Cameron’s phone is dead, and he’s with Franco.

Franco calls Cameron’s name. Shiloh tells him, shut up, and back away. He tells Franco to hand over his phone, and tells Cabot to take it. Cabot says, leave him out of it, but Shiloh says, too late, and demands Cabot take the phone and give it to him. He does, and Shiloh looks at it. He says Elizabeth sent some texts. She’s worried about him. Franco goes back to Cameron, and asks if he’s still there. Cameron asks if his mom is okay. How did Franco find him? Is he in trouble? He says, Shiloh. He thought Shiloh needed help, but he pulled a gun, and took Cameron to his to car. He says, tell mom he didn’t drive. He had the keys, but he did not drive. Tell her. Franco says, it’s okay. She’s not upset, and no one is mad. Cameron says they want to give him Drew’s memory. Shiloh says, that was lovely. Touching. But enough with the family reunion. He tells Cabot to download the flashdrive in the kid before someone else finds them. At this point, I’m guessing Franco is going to step in. I swear, if they wipe his memory out, I will be seriously pissed. Although Drew still did remember some things, and they never really explored that.

Finn has to leave for a consult, and asks Sam to consider getting back in bed. As Finn passes the reception desk, he tells Elizabeth, anything she can to convince Sam to rest, do it. Jason tells Sam, the more she rests, the faster she gets out. Sam says they know Shiloh wanted to use the flashdrive on him. What if he was able to turn Jason into Drew? The old Drew; the Navy SEAL Drew. Jason says maybe she’d like him better. She says there’s no one better for her than him. He picks her up, and says he’s putting her to bed.

Michael comes out, and Nina asks how Sasha is. Michael says, pretty weak. Lucas brings Finn over, and says he asked Finn to consult. Finn says he’s hoping to find out what the strain of the virus is that Sasha picked up. She has the typical symptoms, but more severe with an elevated white blood count, which usually indicates disease, infection, or an allergy. He asks if she’s been out of the country. Michael tells him about going to the island, but says he doesn’t feel sick, and they didn’t see anyone there who was sick. He’ll ask his dad if there’s been any kind of health outbreak. Finn says, that would be helpful. He’s glad Lucas brought him in on this. It’s not looking good.

Nina tells Sasha that she’s not leaving her side, calling her baby girl. Sasha says Nina is always there for her. She’s so glad.

The bartender brings Lucy two shots of tequila. Curtis and Drew arrive, and she asks if she can buy them a drink. Drew says they need to talk to her, and she says pressing real estate needs are her specialty. Curtis says that’s not why they’re here. They’re doing an investigation, and they’re on the clock. Someone could be danger, and they think she can help. Has she had a client named Arthur Cabot?

Elizabeth leaves another message for Cameron. She says she tracked his phone to a sketchy neighborhood. She can’t imagine what he’d be doing there at this hour, and wonders if it’s a pop-up warehouse party. She says she’s going up and down Dewitt, yelling his name until she finds him. Call her. She wonders, where the hell is Franco?

Franco tells Shiloh, they don’t want to hurt the kid. Shiloh says, this has been a disaster from the start, and tells Cabot, quit dragging his feet. Implant this kid with Drew’s memories, or they’re going to prison for life. Cabot says Shiloh is to blame. He kidnapped a minor. Shiloh says Cabot is the one who bought the drugs to do the procedure. Cabot says his intention was to imprint one twin’s memories in another. His intention was to perform the procedure on an adult, who was physically and mentally compatible to receive the memories. He never consented to involve a child. Shiloh says, that’s who’s in the chair now. Do it before someone finds them. Cabot was just released by the WSB. Does he think they’re going to let him walk? Do it. Franco tells Shiloh, stop, just stop. Let the kid go and use him instead. Told you.

Jason makes Sam stay in the bed. She says it’s crazy after eight years of loving him to find out he’s a hypocrite. He says, ouch. That was harsh. She says he wouldn’t want to stay there, but wants her to. She says he’s a hypocrite. He says as long as she makes a full recovery, and comes home to him and the kids, he doesn’t care.

Lucy says she doesn’t have a client named Cabot, but Curtis says he made a number of calls to her. Drew says, he probably used an alias. Curtis says he’s on it. She says she meets a lot of people, and Drew says they’re trying to locate the man who locked Sam in the freezer. Lucy says, she was there; it was horrible. Curtis shows her Cabot’s picture, and asks if she recognizes him.

Franco says, let the kid go, and use him instead. He’s just a kid. He’s got his whole life ahead of him. To be honest, Franco has a dark and twisted past. it would be a relief for him to forget things. He didn’t have the greatest childhood, and it would be great to forget that too. He’s always been kind of a mess. Even with the tumor gone, he still has to live with the memories of what he’s done. it’s a chance to wipe the slate clean. It’s just providence. Cameron asks what about his mom and brothers? He knows Franco loves them. Franco says he does, but they’re way better off losing him than Cameron. It’s a good solution, right? Cameron shakes his head, and Franco looks at Shiloh, and says, right?

Michael tells Finn that he’s waiting to hear back if there’s been any outbreak on the island. Finn asks him to make a list of food and beverages they had while they visited. Michael says they pretty much had the same things, but he’s experienced nothing that he knows of. Finn says he wants to put this delicately, and asks if they had relations. Michael says, several times, and Finn says he’d like to get a blood sample to see if there are traces of the virus.

Nina pats Sasha’s forehead with a cool cloth. Sasha says, it feels nice, but Nina doesn’t have to do that. Nina says she didn’t get to kiss Sasha’s booboos when she was a child. Let her have her moment. Sasha says Nina is there now, and makes her feel better. Valentin says, soon enough, they’ll be enjoying good times again. Nina says, the wedding, and he says he’s going to move heaven and earth to make sure it happens. Sasha needs to focus on getting better. Finn and Lucas come in wearing masks. Finn says the tests for more commonly known viruses came back negative. Until they know what strain of flu she has, they’re moving her to isolation.

Nina asks if it’s even legal to quarantine a patient before knowing what they have, but Finn says they could all get infected. Michael says he’s getting checked, and Nina asks what this means for her daughter. Sasha says she doesn’t want to be the reason anyone gets sick. Nina says they don’t know what she has. Finn says he’s seen a lot, but he’s not sure he’s ever seen something like this. They need to be hyper vigilant. He tells them to come see him at the first sign of anything. He can’t identify it, so he can’t tell what the incubation period should be. Michael asks if they can still visit, and Finn says, on a limited basis – with protection. They need to exercise caution for everyone’s sake.

Sam tells Jason that he doesn’t have to stay, but he says he wants to. Elizabeth pops in, and asks how Sam is feeling. Sam says tired, but good. Elizabeth wasn’t to run something by Jason, and asks if she can borrow him. Jason asks Sam to promise to stay there until she’s released, and she promises. He goes into the hallway with Elizabeth. She says, sorry. She knows he and Sam have been through hell. He asks what she needs, and she says Cameron isn’t answering his phone. Franco went out looking for him, and he’s not answering his phone. Cameron’s supervisor also called, and said he never signed out from community service. Cameron knows how important the rules are, but he’s breaking all of them. She tagged his phone, and he’s on Dewitt Street. Jason says that’s a bunch of warehouses. She can’t imagine why Cameron would be there. He says he’ll get Spinelli on it. They’ll find Cameron.

Lucy says she recognizes that guy. He was eager to find a place. He has a Swiss accent; no, Swedish. He said his last name was Bergman. Drew asks if she showed him property, and she says, several. He was anxious to find an out of the way place where he could work. He had her driving all over the place, but finally took a cheap temporary place, so her commission was minimal. Drew asks, where is it?

Franco says, please; it’s what makes sense. Let Cameron go. Cameron says, don’t, and tells them to go before they get caught. If Franco found him, others will be on the way there. Franco says he only found Cameron because he got a parking ticket. Cabot calls Shiloh an idiot for parking illegally. Franco says his dad told him. He thinks Cameron is out on a joyride. He has no idea Cameron has been kidnapped. It’s all going to be okay. Shiloh says he’s over this; start the procedure. Cabot asks how many times does he have to explain? He doesn’t want to experiment on a child.  Not only for sentimental reasons, but the likelihood of success would improve with an adult subject. Shiloh says, the kid is prepped; they’re wasting time. Franco says, the only waste of time will be if the procedure doesn’t work because Cameron’s brain is too young. Turn him into Drew, Port Charles will give Shiloh a parade. He’s done terrible things in his life; horrible things, violent things, psychotic things. He brought the world a lot of trouble. The only thing Drew has done is be a hero. Do the world a favor. Cameron says it won’t be for his mom. Don’t do this. Someone will come. Franco says, know why he sounds like a kid? Because he’s just a kid. Franco is a gift. Listen to what his scientist said. He’s their best chance to succeed. Cabot says, he’s right. They stand a better chance of success with an adult brain. Shiloh says, fine. Use him instead. Cameron yells, no!

Nina tells Sasha it will be all right. Sasha tells her, try not to worry. Nina says, behind her mask, there’s a complete smile. Sasha says she loves Nina, and Nina says she loves Sasha too. Sasha tells Michael to do everything the doctor tells him, and he says, copy that. She adds, be careful around her other boyfriend Wiley. He says he’s going to miss holding her. He was getting used to that. She says her too. He tells her to get better, and she says she’s on it. Finn says, it’s time to go, and she’s wheeled out.

Lucy says they’re in luck. She remembers exactly the place he rented. It’s is on Dewitt Street. It was kind of odd, since the block is empty, but that seemed to be a selling point. Drew asks if she remember the exact address. She says, no, sorry, but she does have it on her phone. 721 Dewitt Street. Drew says she’s been quite helpful. Enjoy her drink. They leave, and Lucy clinks both glasses together, and downs them.

On the phone, Jason thanks Spinelli. He tells Elizabeth that Spinelli found the address; 721 Dewitt. Elizabeth says, Cameron is going to be embarrassed when his mother drags him out of the party. Jason asks if she wants him to go with her. She says he needs to stay with Sam, and he tells her to text when she finds Cameron. She thanks him, and he goes back to Sam’s room. Elizabeth calls Chase, and says she could use his help. It’s urgent. Sure, why not? Let’s drag him in too. It’s going to be quite the parade on Dewitt Street.

Shiloh duct tapes Cameron to the doorway gate, and Cabot straps Franco to the chair. Shiloh tells Cameron, hold still, and Franco says he doesn’t need to be rough. He’s to let Cameron go; that’s the deal. Shiloh says he could care less about the kid, and Franco tells Cameron, stay calm. Don’t give this guy a reason to hurt him. Cameron yells, and Shiloh grabs him. Franco says he needs Cameron to be quiet. Cameron needs to get back to his mom in one piece. That’s what’s best. Cabot prepares a shot. Franco tells Cameron that it’s all going to be okay. Cameron is crying, and Franco and I are nearly crying. Franco says he’s enjoyed getting to know Cameron. He’s a good kid. Cameron says Franco is a good man too. Franco asks Cameron to do something for him. Cameron nods, and Franco says, tell his mom that he loves her. Tell her he’ll be back. Cabot injects Franco with the sedative.

Tomorrow, Robert tells Maxie and Peter that they’re going to be sorry they crossed paths with that dirtbag, Elizabeth tells Chase that she’s going to look for Cameron, and Cabot says he’s beginning the process now.

💬 IMO, this was an excellent episode. Now that he’s shown his true colors, Shiloh has finally come into his own. I just didn’t buy him as the smooth-talking cult leader. He didn’t seem sincere; he was way to smirky. But now that he’s a villain, he works for me. He doesn’t have the twinkle that Faison, Obrecht, or even Ryan, have. The side wink, telling you it’s all in fun. Like Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) in Death Proof when he looks at the camera before starting his murder spree. Shiloh takes being the bad guy seriously, and that’s okay too. Anti-hero Franco, over-the-top Cabot, and innocent bystander Cameron made it a nice balance. I’m guessing one of the many people headed there will make it in time, and I don’t think anyone bothered to lock the door after Franco came in. It’s like the two stooges do memory transfer. If Drew’s memories do get transferred, like I said, I’ll be highly pissed, although there are several avenues they could go down that are positive. Exploring the possibility that the old memories are still there, or having Elizabeth and Franco still be in love somehow. Drew and Kim were thisclose to getting back together at one point.  We’ll see what happens tomorrow, but today was a good one.

🗽 On tonight’s Million Dollar Listing: New York, Fredrik was handling an enormous property with five terraces that I can’t even begin to describe. He held a massive showing, but the feedback was that the floor plan was too open, like a big one bedroom. One broker described it as a Malibu house in Tribeca. There was also the issue of no doorman or parking. The buyer – who was selling it for her daughter and son-in-law – griped that Fredrik wasn’t marketing the place right. He explained that it was worst month in ten years for real estate, and she pointed out the shower had cost $100K, failing to understand that sometimes you don’t get that back. Along with Fredrik, we were left in limbo, when she said it was to be continued. Ryan was selling another huge property, an 8000 square foot townhouse, with a pool. Again, it was the same problem, and Ryan thought it need a price drop. He did get a buyer at full asking price for the noisy apartment by the BQE, but the sellers balked. In the end, they decided to rent to friend. No surprise, Ryan was pissed at all that work for nothing – I would be too – but didn’t show it – I would be another story. He resigned himself to the fact that nothing in this business was in his control anymore. Luis revealed how depressed he’d been. He’d gotten his heart broken in Paris, and we found out Fredrik basically did an intervention with a few people to get Luis to come home. Steve was clearly the big winner this week, creating an event for the 100+ acre historical estate he had on his hands. There was a wagon ride to the property, a concert pianist in one building to show off the acoustics, and tiny ponies! He also had an ax throwing competition, and a bowling game. Something for everyone. The seller took an all cash offer of $2 million, and no contingencies, from a buyer who wanted to open a boutique hotel. Next time, Luis wants to get back to work, and Fredrick partners with the new guy on a listing.

🔨 They Call Him Machete…

However, Machete did not come from Spy Kids, as the article states. He was from another fake trailer in Grindhouse, which was actually made into a full-length film. And a sequel with Lady Gaga.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

The Ball begins. The nurses sing You Got the Best of My Love, with Epiphany, Deanna, and Amy doing solos. Nurses we’ve never seen before do some wicked dancing. I love the Ball, and seeing everyone do something they don’t normally. I’m really looking forward to Chase. Confetti falls at the end of the number to much applause.

Lucy welcomes everyone, and thanks them. She hopes they brought their wallets. Every dime goes to fight HIV and AIDS. She tells them fasten their seatbelts. They’re in for a wild ride.

Ava asks Scotty why he thought Lucy would be there. He asks why does she think? Doc says, it’s becoming obvious. Scotty says he saw Doc sneaking off with Lucy. Ava says, that’s odd, since she was with him when a staff member said someone fainted on the red carpet. She takes it that was Lucy. Doc says Lucy was wearing a lacy negligee, and Scotty says it’s a good outfit to faint in. Ava says he burst in like he expected to say, ah-ha! Caught you. Scotty says why wouldn’t he? Doc is all wrong for Ava.

Mike and Yvonne thank Sonny for including them. Mike thinks it’s the best way to celebrate their engagement, show off his fiancé. Carly looks at the ring.

Chase and Willow join Finn, who’s looking glum at the bar. Chase asks if he’s okay, and he says he’s fine. Chase asks Willow for some privacy, and tells Finn to propose without the ring. While Anna is saying yes, he’ll arrest Robert for stealing it in the first place.

Neil sees Alexis, and sits with her. She says she had no idea they’d be sitting at the same table. He’s probably the only person who can keep her from tearing Shiloh’s head off. Neil is surprised Shiloh is there, and Alexis points him out. Sam is taking pictures, and Shiloh says he didn’t take her for being a selfie girl. She says she’s not, but just got caught up in the moment.

Spinelli tells Jason the surveillance equipment is state of the art. They have all that they need to hear everything the instant it’s happening. Jason gets a text from Sam, saying she’s at the Ball with Shiloh. Spinelli says, excellent. The plan is working. In the meantime, they have to make sure no other members are at the DOD house.

Kristina suggests watching a movie, but Josslyn doesn’t care. She says Kristina doesn’t have to babysit her. Kristina says Josslyn is doing her favor. She doesn’t want to feel like a coward for skipping the Ball, but she doesn’t feel like a fancy party, so she appreciates keeping Josslyn company. Josslyn says, bring on the popcorn.

Jax tells Carly, Josslyn is fine; he just texted her. Cameron arrives, and asks if Josslyn is coming. Jax says she thought about it, but decided not to. Carly thinks, it’s a little soon after Oscar. She’ll tell Josslyn that he asked about her.

Felicia tells Anna that she didn’t say who her date was. Finn or Robert? Anna says she came with Finn. She loves Finn. She doesn’t know what Robert is doing, but it has to stop.

Mac sees Robert, and says he wasn’t expecting Robert to show up with Finn and Anna. He doesn’t think they did either. Robert insists it was a coincidence.

Mike introduces Yvonne to Bobbie, who tells them, best wishes and congratulations. She admires Yvonne’s ring.

Finn tells Chase, if everything works out, and Anna says yes, all is forgiven. Chase asks, what if she doesn’t? and Finn says he might not have to arrest Robert anyway. Finn sees Yvonne showing off the ring.

Alexis introduces Neil to Jax. Jax asks how he knows Alexis, and Alexis says, he doesn’t. Not in the way Jax thinks. It’s just a coincidence they’re sitting together. He’s a therapist. Jax asks if he’s seeing Alexis, and she says, yes; no. He’s treating her. This isn’t social. Well, it is, but… She shrugs. Neil takes it that Jax is an old friend. Jax says, his ex-wife actually.

Finn is sorry to take Sonny away from his family, but Sonny says whatever he’s going through seems important. Finn says, a little. The lady with Sonny’s father, the ring she’s wearing, it’s his. It’s special. He hates to do this, but he needs it back.

Anna wants to talk to Robert in private. He says, sounds important. She says, it is, and it’s not a joke.

Cameron sees a llama eating at the craft service table. He calls out, anybody lose a llama? He tells the llama, hold on one sec. He puts his guitar in the corner. He doesn’t want it messed up if this goes disastrous, which it probably will. Cameron doesn’t want to interrupt the llama’s snack, but someone could startle him, and he could get hurt. He’s going to grab the llama’s rope, and find out where he belongs. Cameron takes the llama’s lead, and pets him. He says, pretty weird, being backstage. The llama must feel out of place. Him too. He had this friend, and he died. It just seems so brutally unfair. Why is he the lucky one and gets to be alive? He guesses the question he should be asking is, what does he do with the life he has, and make the most of his chances? He’s going to start by finding out where the llama belongs. Felix comes in, and says, Budgie! He tells Cameron that Budgie thinks he’s a llama, and wandered off. They were frantic. He tells Budgie that his trailer awaits. Cameron tells Budgie, nice talking to you.

Ava says she can’t tell Scotty how much his loyalty and friendship mean to her. He says she wants him to keep out of her business. She says she and Doc know what they’re doing. Scotty says, the last time she said that, she ended up with Ryan. See how that turned out? Doc suggests they not miss any more of the Ball. They leave, and Scotty says, Lucy! the way Seinfeld used to say, Newman!

Sam tells Shiloh he looks good in his tux. At their table, Chase asks how Willow is holding up. she says, it would be a perfect night, but for Shiloh being here. At another table, Michael tells Sasha about being one of Milo’s Magic Wands. He didn’t pick the name. Sasha asks if Valentin performs, and he says, usually fully clothed.

Anna asks Robert why he ambushed her. He says he had to find some way to get in, but she’s not buying it. She says he purposely made it look like they came together. He says, so? and she says they didn’t do that. Finn is her date, and he’s being exasperating as an ex-husband.

Peter is glad he ran into Sam. He wanted to tell her about her sister Molly pitching an idea to him for an exposé. As in depth and hard-hitting of a piece as Lulu did on Ryan Chamberlain.

Scotty tells Lucy that she was supposed to get Doc in a compromising position. She tells him, don’t blame her. He was supposed to get Ava up to the suite sooner. She’s still just as determined to consciously uncouple Doc and Ava, but her first priority is the Ball.

Doc tells Ava that they should have expected something like that. She says maybe they would have if the relationship was real, and not a brilliant ruse to get Ryan out of hiding.

Anna says Robert sat next to her, and he says it was the seat he was assigned. She says he could have switched with Felicia or Mac. He says she’s right; he’s a bad boy. Can he go back now? She says not until they’ve dealt with the actual problem. He asks what that would be, and she says, even with all their history, especially with all their history, he can’t expect her try again with him.

Mike introduces Yvonne to Epiphany, who comments on what a rock Yvonne has. Yvonne says, it’s beautiful, and Epiphany says not as beautiful as her. Mike smiles proudly.

Kristina tells Josslyn, maybe a comedy? Josslyn says, this is a comedy. Kristina says, it’s not funny though; is it? Josslyn sees where it’s supposed to be or would be. Kristina says, if they weren’t both miserable? She knows she’s said it already, but it’s just them right now. She’s sorry about Oscar. Josslyn thanks her, and says, it actually helps when you’re hurting to know people care. Kristina wishes she’d realized that sooner. She could have saved them, and herself, a lot of trouble.

Jason and Spinelli go to the DOD house. They walk in, and Spinelli says Jason wasn’t kidding. They really do leave their door unlocked. Jason says, it’s Shiloh’s policy – except when he’s with Sam. He tells Spinelli that everything has to be perfect. Sam is setting Shiloh up tonight.

Sam and Shiloh sit at Peter’s table, and he introduces Shiloh to Lulu. Sam says Peter really blindsided her, saying Molly was writing a story. Lulu asks what it’s about, and Peter says, it’s a new organization that just opened up in Port Charles. It’s called Dawn of Day.

Peter says Molly is still in college, and will need mentoring. Lulu says she’d be happy to take Molly under her wing, but she knows nothing about DOD. Peter says Shiloh can fill her in. He’s their leader. Shiloh says, there is no leader per se. Maxie comes by, and tells him, save it. She asks why Sam is with him. Sam says she doesn’t judge Maxie’s dates, so she’d appreciate the same from Maxie. Maxie says, he only has one name, and it means he who has been sent. Sam says, it’s just a name, and Maxie says, it’s a perfect name for the leader of a cult.

Josslyn is checking out the Nurses Ball on her phone. Kristina says, any scandals? and Josslyn says, it wouldn’t be the Nurses Ball without them. Kristina looks at the phone, and asks, what is Sam doing there with Shiloh?

Spinelli tells Jason, it’s looking good. They’re getting signals from all devices. Jason’s phone rings, and they jet out of the house. Jason says, it’s Kristina. He asks if she’s okay, and she says, Sam is at the Nurses Ball with Shiloh. Jason tells her, calm down, but she says Jason has to get Sam away from him. Jason says, trust him. It will all work out. She says, it won’t, and hangs up. Honestly, you’d think Kristina could figure this out.

Chase tells Willow that he has to prepare for his performance, but not to let Shiloh get to her. Or Nina. He leaves, and Sasha asks what he meant about Nina. Willow says she hasn’t been asked back to the elementary school. Sasha says, she was fired because of Nina? Willow says, there were several reasons, but one of them was Nina. Michael says there are a lot of private schools there. He’s sure she can get references from community leaders. She says she couldn’t impose, and Sasha tells her, don’t argue. Michael is a relentlessly decent guy. Resistance is futile.

Nina wonders if Michael can get Sasha to stay in Port Charles. Valentin didn’t realize things were happening so quickly between Sasha and Michael. Nina says it happened between them quickly. Maybe it’s an inherited trait. They kiss.

Robert says Anna thinks he wants them try again? She says, don’t deny it. She loves him, and always will, but she has to say no. She can’t marry him. She’s in love with Finn. Robert gets that, and she tells him, stop pursuing her. What they had is in the past. She walks away.

Sonny and Finn approach Mike. Sonny tells Mike, there’s a problem with the ring. It’s a fake. Mike bought a bum ring. Mike says he didn’t. Is Sonny sure? Sonny says, positive. Mike says he can’t take the ring back. It will break Yvonne’s heart. Finn understands, and has a suggestion. He shows Mike the replacement ring, and asks what he thinks. Sonny says, it’s a beautiful ring; the real deal. He can just explain the situation to Yvonne, and everything will be okay.

Lucy hopes everyone is having fun. She wants them to welcome back the next performer. Everyone has really anticipated his performance. Last year, he brought down the house. This detective has moves so arresting, he makes you want to write bad checks. Chase sings Something Just Like This. He’s so good, and definitely has the moves. He motions for Willow to come up. She shakes her head, but he brings her up on stage. Even though they didn’t rehearse, and as far as I know, have never even danced together, they dance perfectly. Sam smiles. Shiloh, not so much. Chase and Willow kiss.

Finn asks if he can talk to Robert, and Robert says, if he must. He says, despite Robert’s best efforts to sabotage him, he’s still proposing to Anna with the ring he intended to give her. Robert says, goody; he found it. He doesn’t suppose he can have the one back he replaced it with. Finn says, if only he could. Robert says, let him guess. Finn lost it. Finn says he knows exactly where it is, but don’t worry. Robert will be pleased to know it went to a good cause.

Yvonne says she likes the ring Mike gave her, but this one is so much better. Mike says, that’s all that matters. Sonny says they have to go back to Turning Woods, and Carly says they’ll walk Yvonne and Mike out. Mike hangs back, and says he and Sonny did a number last year, right? Sonny says they sure did, and Mike says Summer Wind. It was a good night. Sonny says, the best, and they hug. I wish they’d sing again, but I guess that’s not happening.

Lucy sees Cameron, and asks if he spoke with Josslyn. He says, no, and Lucy says he should know she’s not performing. Is he okay? He says he’s good to go, and she tells him, the show has to go on. She thanks him for saving her llama.

Everyone applauds as Chase and Willow go back to their table. Willow says, it was amazing. She had so much fun, but he’d better watch out. Groupies of all ages will be throwing themselves at him. He says, of all the screaming fangirls in the world, there’s only one woman for him.

Carly tells Jax that Josslyn said he looked handsome. He says, she’s a brave girl, and Carly says, the bravest. He thinks they should honor that courage, and not go home to check on her. She says they’re still texting though, right? He says, every half hour, and she says, his turn.

Cameron goes to Sonny’s house. Josslyn says his tux looks great. He says, no disasters yet. He has an Uber outside. The driver is really nice, and said she’d wait if Josslyn wants to change and come. Josslyn says, thanks, but she’d feel like more of a loser if she showed up and didn’t sing. She can’t. She thought about it, and even tried practicing, but it’s a duet. She can’t sing it without Oscar. Cameron gets it. He didn’t come to guilt her, but he brought her a message from Oscar.

In the hallway, Shiloh tells Sam that he needed a breather from her friend. Sam says Maxie isn’t so much a friend. Shiloh says, she called DOD a cult (like that’s never happened before), but he can’t hold Sam responsible. She gets his mission. Kristina appears, and tells Shiloh, get the hell away from her.

Spinelli and Jason get back to the MetroCourt. Spinelli says, mission accomplished. They have every inch of DOD wired, but they can’t be sure Shiloh will incriminate himself. Jason says, it doesn’t matter. This ends tonight.

Lucy talks about Robin. Robert tells Finn that Anna is about to speak. He’s Robin’s father, and he’s joining her on stage. Lucy says they love Robin, and miss her, but they’re fortunate that, in her absence, they have her also extraordinary mother there to tell them the importance of what tonight is all about. Anna takes the stage. She says her daughter is a woman of passion, a fighter, and a healer. Passion, fight, and healing are what the Nurses Ball is all about. Robin was diagnosed with HIV in 1995; a death sentence at that time. It’s taken the lives of so many loved ones, in particular, Stone, but her daughter’s death sentence became a life sentence. Where there’s life, there’s hope, and she doesn’t want them to forget, that’s the true meaning behind tonight – hope.

In the wings, Robert tells Finn that, Anna is one incredible woman. He’d better make her happy. All of a sudden, the ring rolls out and stops at her feet. Finn looks at Robert.

Tomorrow, Finn proposes to Anna, Lucy says something fishy is going on, and Sonny tells Shiloh to stay away from his daughter.

Vanderpump Rules – The Reunion – Part Three

We rewind a little to where Andy asks James if he’s still helping his family. Kristen says they act like he’s the only one helping his family. Katie says she’s been going through a helluva ride, and his parents got divorced, poor thing. Kristen says, he was raised by effing a-holes, but Lisa tells her, don’t talk like that; it’s going too far. James walks out, saying, he’s not listening to sh*t about his family without ripping someone’s head off. Lisa tells the group, take a breath. They’re not doing themselves any favors. Andy says Kristen keeps jumping into every question.

Lisa tells James, don’t walk away. He’ll lose the battle. He says he’s already won. She says he’s part of the show. He needs to pull himself together, and defend himself. Katie says people hate her because she stood up for herself. People told her to kill herself because she did something to James’s family. Lala says they need to quit talking about people’s parents. Lisa comes back with James, and asks if they’re good now.

Andy wisely changes the subject. He asks about Lala’s anxiety attacks, and she says they were driven by alcohol. We flash back to her freak-out at dinner in Mexico. She says she wanted to crawl out of her own skin. She wasn’t near Rand, her mom was far away, and her dad was gone. Andy says Scheana claimed everyone was up Lala’s ass, and treated her like she could do no wrong even before her dad passed away. He asks if Scheana has any examples, except for Lala not wanting to make out with her. We flash back to Scheana griping about that. Scheana thinks she had some insecurities, and felt like all of Lala’s other friends came first. Lala says she never wants Scheana to feel like her friendship is on the back burner. If she needs to try harder, she’ll make that happen.

Andy asks how Schwartz felt when he and Katie took the lead in the controversy surrounding inviting white Kanye to Mexico. Schwartz says he didn’t think it would be a problem. He thought enough time had passed, that it was safe. He was caught in the moment; he’s a softie. Andy asks how it made James feel when Tom got the brunt of the blame. Ariana says, in reality, they agreed. Schwartz says he knew he effed up, and it was a moment of cowardice. Katie’s voice is scary, and he didn’t know what to do. Andy asks why James would want to go somewhere, that clearly, several people didn’t want him to. He says he as curious. He’d been on all the trips. The Miami trip was fantastic. The group thought he’d be the liability of the Hawaii trip. We flash back to Jax saying James is obnoxious. James says he laughed when Jax got arrested. He wasn’t the liability. He became an international DJ when he worked in Mexico. It was all happening. He thought he’d earned the right to go on the next trip, and at the time, it hurt his feelings.

Moving on. Andy brings up Katie and Tom’s fight, where Tom blamed Katie for James losing his job and called her a bully. He asks if Tom thinks she’s responsible for James losing his job. James says, it’s irrelevant. It doesn’t mean what he did was okay, or he’s right, but Tom was pissed at the ultimatum and outcome. Tom says he thought if Katie hadn’t said anything, James wouldn’t have lost his job. It was bottled up in him. Schwartz says, back in the day, she said come pretty rough things. We flash back to Katie calling Lala a whore, and telling Schwartz, no wonder his d*ck doesn’t work. Schwartz says she’s a changed person. She’s come a long way, and matured. He loves her. Andy says Katie’s go-to insult is critiquing his d*ck. We see a clip of Schwartz saying he has a classic penis. Andy says they’re going to say it so much, it won’t work. Schwartz says it’s a nice, old-fashioned penis. Andy says Katie was penis shaming.

Andy welcome Stassi’s beau, Beau. He asks Beau if his suit is more comfortable than the dinosaur outfit. Beau says he has the dinosaur costume with him, but Stassi said. We go down the Memory Lane of Stassi’s exes, and see clips of their various antics. Jax flipped off everyone at SUR. Frank threatened to pull a customer’s underwear over his head. Patrick made unwanted comments on Lisa’s ass. Andy asks, where does Beau rank? He says Lisa loves him, and even tweeted that she loves her some Beau. Lisa says he’s lucky to have Stassi too. She’s bright and beautiful, but with her insecurities, thinks she’ll screw up. She wants Stassi to get it out of her head. Andy says Stassi put Patrick on a pedestal, and then said in her podcast that he’d cheated. Katie is shocked, saying she didn’t know about this. Stassi says the day she was moving from NYC to L.A,, she was using Patrick’s computer, and found texts between him and some, like, model that were very explicit. She didn’t want to just slink out, since she’d just told everyone she was in a new relationship. She was mortified. Beau is happy she did it. Andy asks if she made Beau happy, and Beau says, she did. Andy asks if Beau watched show when they started dating. Beau says he watched the pilot to see what he was getting into. Andy asks if it didn’t scare him, and Beau says, eff yeah. Kristen set them up. She and Beau met when she was doing an independent film, and they kissed. We see some clips from The Loneliness of the Long Distance Dreamer. Andy asks if it went further, but that’s a no. Jax says, this is the most incestuous group ever.

Andy asks about the first night in Mexico, when Stassi was arguing about going to bed. How does Beau keep cool when Stassi goes off the deep end? Beau says he gets help from friends. Andy asks what triggers Stassi’s rages? and Beau says, alcohol, Adderall past influence in relationships. He’s done nothing to make her think he’d do something shady. Andy says Stassi gave him a hard time at the club for encouraging her to have fun with her friends. Stassi says, all the girls were dancing, and she had on a maxi dress with oatmeal-colored Spanx that she’d cut the crotch out of so she could use the bathroom. She didn’t want everyone to look up and see. She didn’t feel hot, and Beau annoyed her when he kept telling her to go. She said no. He says he didn’t know she was wearing oatmeal-colored Spanx with the crotch cut out. Stassi says it’s embarrassing to say. Andy reminds Beau that he said he felt like a battered boyfriend, which was brutal. It was just over and over again.  The dark passenger snapped at the club, and his bottled feelings came out at the hotel. The old stuff and Stassi’s insecurities combined with alcohol makes the dark passenger come out. He doesn’t think it’s some deep persona thing. Andy asks who’s scarier; the dark passenger or tequila Katie. Schwartz thinks it’s Katie, but says the two of them could take over the world. Andy asks if it makes Stassi feel at risk of losing Beau if she doesn’t change her behavior. Stassi says, yes. She wants to find out what’s making her life this. She’s hurting her friends, Beau, and herself. She’s not taking Adderall again. Andy asks Beau if her behavior has changed, and they both say yes. Andy brings up Stassi’s mother telling her not to be herself or she’ll mess it up. Beau says he had no idea why her mother would say something like that. Stassi says it sticks with her, and she thinks something’s totally wrong with herself. Andy adds insult to injury by reminding Stassi that her mother also said she hoped Stassi would grow up to be half the woman Kristen is. We flash back to that. Stassi says she didn’t know about it, and it was hard to watch. Andy asks where she and her mother stand now. Stassi says they didn’t speak for eight months, but just this past weekend, she went to her sister’s bridal shower, and they talked. Her mother apologized and took ownership of what she’d done, and they both cried. It was awesome, and she’s happy about it, since she missed her mom. Everyone gets a little teary. Well, probably not James.

Andy says Jax seemed freaked out when the women arrived at the guy’s weekend. Jax says he felt guilty just being in the same room with them. He knows just because things are okay now, he still has work to do, and he’s treading water. He told Beau that the girls would probably be mad if they tell them, but they’ll find out anyway, so they’d better. Stassi says it was the right choice, but she wanted to FaceTime with those skanks. We move on to Kristen, and flash back to her freefalling in wine country. Andy says she got triggered by James DJing a party at PUMP. Does that really affect her? She wishes it didn’t. She thought she was fine. James tells her to get over it. He says she’s obsessed with him, and she has to get over him. Stassi sticks by saying she thinks it was really Carter that was the problem, and doesn’t think Kristen is obsessed with James. He triggered it, but they all knew what was going on with Carter. We see clips of Kristen complaining. Kristen insists it wasn’t about her and Carter, and she got upset when Stassi intermixed the two. Andy asks what issue broke Carter and Kristen up, and she says he didn’t respect her enough to pay his way. She felt taken advantage of. Beau thinks that Kristen vents so much about the bad, it’s all they hear. They never heard the good stuff. Andy says the girls accused Kristen of fighting in private, and acting like everything was okay in public. She says Carter was trying to make a shift; whatever it took. It doesn’t matter what caused it. Stassi says it does to her. It should be what Kristen wants, and not because of what other people think. Kristen says they made a choice not to be together. Andy reminds Kristen that she said if she ever gets married, it would be to Carter. She stands by that, and admits they still live together. Their dog was mauled by a Pitbull and she needed him. They don’t sleep in same bed every night, and they’ve only had sex twice. Andy says, it’s confusing. Stassi says they’re like Scheana and Adam. Scheana says they’re best friends, but they sleep together. Kristen says Stassi’s tough love doesn’t work for her. She doesn’t know how get him out. She cries alone, because they’re annoyed, and she’s afraid to call. Katie says Kristen is settling to be unhappy. She’s trying to make herself happy in a situation that’s no good for her. Kristen says she listened to Katie and Schwartz for eight years, and never walked away. Katie says they’re not walking away. Andy asks if the issue is that she should just get Carter’s ass out of the house. Kristen says it’s none of their business, but Katie says Kristen wants Carter to love her, and made it her business for over two years. Forgive her for having an opinion. Kristen says she does. Andy says Beau was friends with Patrick before he dated Stassi. How’s that going now? Beau says they text once in a while, but it’s been hard since Stassi’s break from him. Stassi says Patrick is scared of her. Andy tells her social media says Beau is the best thing for her; an upgrade from Jax. Stassi says she and Jax both upgraded. Andy asks Stassi if it’s hard to be not the most liked person in the relationship. She says she’s getting used to it. Stassi says she got everything she told her friends that she wanted. She wanted someone who could be friends with her friends, and do the same things she likes to do; an actual partner. Beau whispers, I love you, and Stassi returns the whisper. Everyone is like, aww! On that note, it’s time for Beau to skedaddle.

Andy says in the Mexican hotel, Schwartz’s balls were as big as anything. We flash back to Schwartz and Katie’s fight. Andy wonders where that all came from, and Schwartz said it had built up. The last rumblings of pent up resentment from early on, and was like one least burp. It was cathartic, but he felt terrible. Andy says the root of what Katie was saying is that he was working so hard, and she wanted to spend time Lisa says lot of people have jobs, and are still committed. Katie says Schwartz isn’t good at listening. Before Andy wraps up the Mexico conversation, he wants to know if Schwartz’s grand romantic gesture, of a violinist and junk food, worked. Did they make mad passionate love? Katie says she had Montezuma’s Revenge. Schwartz says he was on the verge, and Jax says they all had severe anal leakage. Andy is like, alrighty then.

He says when he thinks of rivalries, he thinks of the Hatfields and McCoys, the Red Sox and the Yankees, and Kristen and Ariana. He asks Tom if it’s weird seeing his ex and current girlfriends being friends. He says, it’s not that bad. Brittany wonders which is weirder; Tom and James being friends, or Ariana and Kristen. Ariana thinks the most weird thing is Jax and Tom being friends. Tom doesn’t think it’s weird, considering the other people who have made up. Andy asks if Kristen still thinks that Tom and Ariana did something inappropriate when she and Tom were together. She does, but it doesn’t matter anymore. Ariana says they did kiss in a pool in Vegas, so there was that.

Andy says from the moment Jax proposed, Brittany was planning her engagement party. He asks if she had the fairytale theme in mind already. She says she knew she would get married in a castle, so it followed the theme. Andy asks why the bigger Bridezilla will be; Brittany or Jax? Stassi says Brittany is Brattany. She knows what she wants. If she wants a cherry blossom tree that has to be shipped in from Japan, it’s going to happen. We find out Lala has become a bridesmaid. Brittany says she felt badly about it, because they are really close. She and the girls all have a bond. They understand each other and what they’re all going through better than anyone. Andy asks how many bridesmaids she has, and Brittany says, eleven bridesmaids and one bridesman. Andy asks why Kristen thought she should be maid-of-honor. Kristen says Brittany’s brother had said she was Brittany’s best friend in LA, so she figured it was a sure thing. Brittany says it breaks her heart that Kristen felt that way, but thought it was more appropriate for Katie to take that role. Stassi tells Ariana that she’s not picking bridesmaids. It’s too stressful.

Andy was impressed with Lisa’s beer bong. Lisa says there’s nobody else she’d do that for, and she’s never doing it again. It shot ninety miles an hour down her throat. We flash back to her burp, and Andy says, it was a great exit.

Andy points out that Tom ticked off a list of lies Jax has told over the years in the finale. Andy asks if Jax heard about it, and he says, no. Brittany reminds him that they watched the episode together. They laughed about it, because it was true. Brittany tells Andy that Jax would never say he didn’t eff up in the past. Tom says Jax had a Chanel fragrance ad in his portfolio for as long as Tom has known him, and it’s way not him. Stassi says, it doesn’t look like you, but omg, cool! Tom says something about Channing Tatum rooming with Jax, and Jax insists it’s true. It was in the beginning of his career. Tom says he was a model before Jax, and Channing was blowing up after doing a Mountain Dew ad. Jax says that’s when he left. He was nineteen, and it was a big deal. My high school boyfriend was roommates with Christopher Reeve before he was Superman, so it’s possible. Andy asks Lisa how she thinks Jax will do as a married man. She hopes well. She thinks Brittany is his best asset. She knows how control him to a certain extent. Jax says he’s still a work in progress, but he’s devoted to changing. Andy says he’s heard Jax say he was a work in progress before, but Jax says he always will be. No matter how much he changes, that old person will always be there. Lisa comparing him to Ken was an honor. Lisa says it wasn’t a positive, but Jax thinks it’s a compliment because Ken came out the other side, and he’s a great dude.

Andy says the engagement party meant something else to Scheana. Scheana says she’s never seen Adam that angry. We flash back to that, and Scheana says that’s what triggered her emotions. She never thought he’d speak to her again. Andy tells her that she kept saying she and Adam were just friends, but when he wasn’t giving her enough attention, she set up a date with a hot model. Lisa says it’s the worst choice she ever made. Well, there is Shay. Andy says then she got Adam’s attention. He asks if she was interested in Ethan or was she just setting up Adam to pay attention. Scheana says she met Ethan on Watch What Happens Live in LA. He was one of the guys who was fanning NeNe. They’ve been talking since then, which really didn’t answer the question. They discuss Botox, which Stassi says Scheana has been getting since she was twelve. Scheana says she’s going to be thirty-three, and this is how she can get a twenty-five year old.  Andy says she looks great, but she’s still young, and he thinks Botox makes you look older. I think it just makes you look freaky. Not to leave any personal stone unturned, Andy asks if she was thinking about Adam while having sex with Ethan. She admits he crossed her mind, and she felt badly about it. Andy asks how Adam reacted to the penguin, and she says he loves penguins like Stassi loves ranch dressing. It worked. She’s continued dating other people, but he hasn’t been with anyone. I wonder, how is this working? and also why Andy doesn’t ask, since he’s been so intrusive. Andy asks her about Adam not going downtown, and she says they’d go right to it without much foreplay. Lisa thinks in a relationship, if you’re not willing to go downtown, it’s a huge disrespect. Scheana says he did it the next day. There’s a TMI explosion in my head.

Andy says Brittany’s whole family was in town for the engagement party. He knows her mom and memaw love Jax, but where does he stand with the other members of the family. Brittany says she was surprised when she saw the footage, and didn’t like how Jax treated them. We see the clip where Jax says he’ll always be number one. She says she screamed bloody murder. Don’t disrespect her family. Jax agrees that he was inappropriate, but says there was a lot of pressure, and he was also entertaining his sister. He was having a couple of drinks, and trying to relax, when Brittany’s brothers kept giving him a list of what he needed to do for her. He thought, what about him? Andy asks if anyone got offended when Jax said he bought Brittany’s brother a baby. The vernacular was not great. Brittany says Jax doesn’t know how to speak; he doesn’t have a mom and dad. Andy says he has a mom. He’s not Dr. Phil, but wonders if Jax’s mom is invited to the wedding. Brittany says it’s still up in air. Andy says life is short, and Jax says he knows that. Brittany thinks his mother should try to reach out. She asks what Lisa thinks, and Lisa says she can see his pain, and as a mother, it’s incumbent on her to reach out. Brittany says they wanted to see his dad, and she told them to wait. Jax says he doesn’t have a mother, but Lisa says until recently. It’s going to hurt his mother when she sees this. He should say he wishes she’d reach out. Brittany says, Marie, please reach out. Jax says he’s the only man in the family, and doesn’t understand why she didn’t talk to him. Regardless of what his dad said, he would have called and told them he’s not going to make it; get on a plane. Andy asks how they think his father would feel about the engagement. Jax says he loved Brittany. Brittany says Jenny sent her texts about how he would love her, and she’s saving them forever.

James tells Stassi to get off his d*ck. Stassi says he won’t shut up, and stop telling her to shut up. He has no right to talk to her like that; it’s disgusting. Brittany says, it’s not okay. That’s why he’s never going to be around her again. He was talking about her family. James says Jax was talking sh*t about Raquel, and Andy says Brittany has never said a bad word to him. Why was he taking it out on her? She’s the nicest one in the room. James says he felt like it. He knows it’s not nice, okay? Lisa says, it’s not okay. He asks what she wants him to say. She says he’s going to lose any bit of support he has, and he asks if that’s a threat from her. She tells him that she’s saying, unless he changes, he’s going to lose the support he has. Andy says, James is no longer at SUR, and his relationship with the group has frayed; what’s in store? James says he’s making music, traveling America, and DJing. There’s a lot he’s working on, and he has high, high hopes.

Andy asks Schwartz how he felt about the audience reaction to Katie, and the haters. He says it took willpower not go after them, but he knows better than to feed the trolls. His wife is sexy and beautiful, and he loves her. Suck his classic d*ck.

Peter is standing by with cocktails, along with Ken, who has a tray of memaw’s beer cheese. Andy asks Lisa who she thinks will be first to have a PUMP baby. Shouldn’t that be a SUR baby? She thinks it will be Brittany, and Jax says, she’s already pregnant. Brittany says he’s just kidding. She wants to have fun at the wedding. Andy says nothing is coming between her and having fun at her wedding. They all say, cheers, and Lala toasts with cheese. They don’t seem to like the shots very much, and Brittany tells them, chase it with the beer cheese.

The end. For now
