🛁 The Weekdays…

General Hospital

Sonny told Carly about the shared custody. She asked if he was going to tell her what was really going on. Kai texted Trina asking if she was free tonight. Laura was meeting with Drew about eminent domain and asked Curtis to sit in. Laura felt Drew was using the esplanade plan to retaliate against Jason through Sonny. Anna told Mac that while Jason was at the station, he couldn’t kill Cyrus. Elizabeth snuck into the interrogation room to see Jason and told him that she and Lucky found evidence against Cyrus.

Curtis gave a bunch of reasons Drew’s idea was a bad one, including a lawsuit from Sonny. Laura said Drew wanted to bring in Sidwell. Mac said with Cyrus gone, he couldn’t hurt anyone, but Anna said she’d rather bring Cyrus to justice. She felt they were getting closer. Elizabeth told Jason that they didn’t know Cyrus’s motives and she wasn’t sure the PCPD was up to the job. Cyrus consulted the Bible.

Trina said it was Josslyn’s first Valentine’s Day without Dex, and she missed Spencer, but Josslyn told her to go with Kai. It was time for her to get back out there. Carly thought there was a reason behind Sonny’s reason for the compromise and he said he had to find where the threat was coming from and wanted to help Michael when he came home. She asked if Jason had mentioned Sasha. Sasha went to see Jason at the station. Martin told Willow that Elaine was out of commission, and he still needed dirt on Michael. Willow didn’t want to blame Michael or hurt him. Laura said Jordan would be at the meeting and Curtis said he’d seen her with Sidwell. When Jordan arrived, she said Sidwell could be legit, but they needed more information. She was going to get it. Drew showed up and said he could tell it was going to be a tough room. Elizabeth told Anna how she and Lucky collected evidence against Cyrus.

Carly said Drew accused Jason of fathering Sasha’s baby, but she didn’t know if it was true. Willow said maybe there was a way to make peace, when Nurse Mindy called her. Her car had been impounded. Laura said Drew gave her a lot to think about and he said there would be matching federal funding. He said if Sonny using piers for criminal activity was the priority rather than the esplanade, let it ride. Elizabeth told Anna about everything that happened at Turning Woods and GH with Cyrus, and said Anna had the authority to exhume the bodies. Sasha went to see Jason, and he said Anna was just trying to keep him away from Cyrus. She said she thought Willow suspected Michael was the father of her baby. Kai told Trina to meet him at The Savoy dressed to impress.

Willow told Mac that Tracy had her car towed after she’d put it in the street. She was starting to see how much she’d lost in becoming a part of Michael’s family and was done letting the Quartermaines run her life. Sasha told Jason about Elaine and said she didn’t want her child raised in the Quartermaine environment. Letting people draw their own conclusions wasn’t enough. She wanted Jason to come out and say the baby was his. Jordan said it could cost jobs, and the project could get tangled up for years, and Curtis said the city shouldn’t get entangled in Drew’s personal vendetta. Drew asked if the potential benefits were worth the risk. Elizabeth brought Anna a bag of stuff and said they’d gone through Cyrus’s trash in the dumpster. Anna saw an order of syringes from Paul Damascus, and Elizabeth said it was a biblical reference. It made sense for Cyrus to use it as an aka. Elizabeth thought digitalis had been in another box, but they couldn’t find an invoice. Meanwhile, Cyrus readied a syringe.

Carly said, if it was true, she needed to support Jason, but Sonny suggested they stay out of it. Anna said Elizabeth was good as an amateur detective, but they couldn’t link Cyrus to anything. Laura said it would be easier if she didn’t have to consider Sonny. Sonny said Jason would tell them if they needed to know, and Carly agreed to wait until Jason said something. Trina left to meet Kai and Josslyn brought out a box with a gun in it. Cyrus put the syringe in his pocket and called GH. He asked to talk to Elizabeth, but she was gone for the day. He said he was sure he’d run into her later. Drew brought roses to the hospital, but Willow wasn’t there. Willow saw Jason and Sasha talking, and Sasha said go with her on this and kissed him. Anna told Mac that they might have a new lead. He saw Sasha and Jason kissing and said, no, no, no!

Tuesday:

Valentine’s Day was happening at The Savoy and Curtis said they had a special surprise performer, when Trina walked in with Kai. On the phone, Spinelli told Maxie that he’d play cupid for Lucas since she was under the weather. He told Lucas that he was pinch hitting for Maxie, and she’d found him the perfect guy. Carly was cleaning up the cookie baking mess in Sonny’s old kitchen, saying, it’s the memories, not the mess. Jack came in bearing roses. Lulu was leaving Eckerd’s Valentine’s Day cupcakes for Rocco in the nook, when Dante came down. TempLucky went to Elizabeth’s, and she said Anna listened to her and was going to arrest Cyrus. She thought they should celebrate, and they discovered Aiden had made a cake. Mac had a migraine, and Anna was working on one. She told Jason that she had to release him, but wanted to convince him not to kill Cyrus the minute he left.

Portia said Trina seeing someone was a big deal, and Curtis said it was one they’d have to watch from afar. Trina asked if Kai had to pull strings to come, and he said, a few. Spinelli introduced Lucas and Gunther the model, and Brad saw them sit together. Carly’s faucet went nuts, spraying water everywhere. Dante told Lulu that Rocco was ice skating and crashing at a friend’s, but he’d barely touched the cupcakes Dante brought home years ago because they reminded him of Lulu. Aiden introduced Tobias to Elizabeth, and she asked if they wanted to join her and Lucky. Aiden said they were going to the Valentine’s Day skate and asked to talk to Elizabeth in private. Mac didn’t buy that Jason was the baby’s father, but then he saw Sasha kiss him. He thought Jason took advantage of her hurt over Cody, but Felicia said, the heart wants what the heart wants.

Anna asked for a BOLO on Cyrus and told Jason. She had enough evidence to connect him to multiple murders, including Sam’s, and hoped the judge would sign off on it right away. She could get justice, but only if Jason let her do her job. She asked him to stay away from Cyrus for her sake. Jack turned the water off and said luckily for Carly, her knight in sopping wet armor had arrived. Spinelli told Maxie that the chemistry between Lucas and Gunther was palpable, and Trina told Kai that she had a confession to make. The owner of The Savoy was her dad. Elizabeth told Aiden that she liked spending time with his dad and to go enjoy himself. Lulu said she didn’t know their son, but Dante said she did and told her to ask questions. She asked about Rocco’s first crush, if he was hard to wake up, how was he doing in school, and did he have friends. He knew about Rocco, and she didn’t. He said she’d catch up, but she said she’d neglected the child she had and was failing as a mother. he said that wasn’t true. Aiden left with Tobias, and Elizabeth said he’d offered to be their chaperone. Anna said she and Jason were friends and people noticed. If Cyrus disappeared, it would perpetuate the idea that there were people above the law who got away with it because of their friendship with her. Jason said he understood, but it didn’t matter when she was talking about the sick bastard who murdered Sam.

Kai complimented Curtis on the club and Curtis said they had to stick around for the surprise musical act. Anna asked Jason to trust her that they’d get justice. She’d taken chances on him, and she was asking him to take one on her and have faith. He wouldn’t regret it. Felicia said she and Mac had their ups and downs over the years. Mac had even left once, but he was her happily ever after. It wasn’t for them to decide who Sasha’s was. They’d make sure the only way Scorpios could. Lucky wondered if Aiden was worried that he and Elizabeth were getting too close, but she said Aiden just wanted to make sure she was treated well. She’d make it clear that she didn’t need protection from him. Dante said Lulu was a good mom. He shouldn’t have made it seem like she was choosing between Charlotte and Rocco. She said she didn’t know what Rocco needed, and Dante said, his mom. She’d made his pain and sadness disappear.

Lucas said the only reason he was on the date was because of Maxie, and Gunther said he understood Lucas wasn’t ready. Get his number from Maxie and tell him when he was. Gunther left and Brook and Chase showed up. Jack fixed Carly’s sink, which surprised her, and he said his father was a plumber. She said she’d envisioned him descending from a long line of super spies, but he told her that his dad always said, even if the world ends, you’re always going to need a plumber. She asked if anyone else knew. She liked knowing something about him that no one else did. He said, knowledge is power. Anna said the trust she and Jason had was unexpected, but real, and also obvious. No one would believe she hadn’t looked the other way, or worse they’d think she helped him cover it up.

Lucas asked if Brad wanted company. Spinelli told Brook that Gunther ditched Lucas, then saw Brad with Lucas. Chase left to check on Brook’s surprise. Curtis told Portia that he loved The Savoy, but Aurora presented a challenge, and he felt like he was growing there. N’neka said it was time, and Curtis introduced Chase. Dante promised to guard the cupcakes with his life, but thought he should take a couple off of Rocco’s hands. Lulu said, don’t you dare. Jack said he’d learned to expect the unexpected with Carly. Lucky said Elizabeth was as beautiful as the day he met her, and they kissed. Anna found out the warrant couldn’t be signed until the morning, and Jason said whatever happened to Cyrus, her office would respect her for the same reasons he did – her strength, courage, and willingness to put herself on the line. He knew she understood why he wanted to kill Cyrus, but didn’t think anyone else did. She said it was because they were alike, and he agreed. She asked him, as her friend, please don’t kill Cyrus, and he said she was a good friend, and he appreciated her friendship. She said that wasn’t an answer.

Chase told the audience that his singing career had been brief, but he’d met his wife through it and was grateful. He said the song was for her and sang one she’d written (Won’t You Stay with Me). As he sang, Lucky left Elizabeth’s, Jack and Carly had champagne, Felicia fed Mac Valentine cookies, and Lulu smushed a cupcake on Dante’s face, then helped wipe it off. Jason left the station. Elizabeth noticed that Lucky left the piece of cake he was taking home. There was a knock at the door, and she assumed it was him, but it was Cyrus.

Wednesday:

Cyrus told Elizabeth that he had an urgent matter that couldn’t wait and walked in. She’d been asking around about him and now had the opportunity to ask questions to his face. Emma asked Josslyn to be part of the benefit. Lulu was rude to a client on the phone in Helsinki and said he’d specifically asked for Brook or Maxie. It was Maxie and Spinelli’s first Valentine’s Day together and she didn’t want to ruin it. Brook said Lulu had no problem ruining it for her and Chase. Drew showed up at The Savoy with Willow, and Portia said, that’s a choice, but Curtis said it was beyond disrespect. It was a throwdown. Portia wondered how Willow couldn’t see through Drew (me too), but thought they should let it go. Willow wondered why Lucas was with Brad. Seeing Willow with Drew, Brad told Lucas that he was in no position to judge, but… and Lucas said it wasn’t their call. Cyrus asked what Elizabeth was trying to find out, and she said, fine. She’d start at the beginning. Why did he try to kill Lulu?

Donna called for Carly, interrupting a kiss with Jack. Emma wanted Josslyn to be an underwriter, but Josslyn said she had no time. She was going through a lot, but she’d be more than happy to donate. Emma argued with her, but Josslyn was unrelenting. Chase told Dante that he couldn’t give Brook the family she wanted to have. Curtis told N’neka that Drew was no longer welcome. Willow said she’d never forgive Brad (wow), and Curtis told Drew that he didn’t want him there. Cyrus said there was no sign of Lulu having an improvement. Just because someone could be kept alive didn’t mean they should be. Elizabeth said she’d watched families make that decision and it was awful, but in the end, it’s a gift. He said she understood, and she asked, what about the others? He said they were all God’s children, and she said, so from one family. He said he’d seen people trapped in their own hell and God gave him a mission to free imprisoned souls. He wept as he asked if Lulu wasn’t entitled to that, and she said, that’s why he turned off the ventilator, but he said, no, that was much later.

Brook said, the client threatened to cancel the shipment of the key ingredient in their cream. Lulu couldn’t talk to people that way. Lucas said he wasn’t sorry for Willow, but they all made mistakes. Curtis told Drew that Michael’s wife was more than welcome to stay, but he reserved the right to refuse service. They were playing the same game. Brad said, once the denial goes away, Willow will be miserable. One thing he’d learned was, lonely is lonely, whether deserved or not. Drew told Willow that he had a surprise for her, and they left. Donna asked why Jack was out so late and suggested he go to bed. She wondered why we have bad dreams, and Jack explained dreams to her. He said when we had bad dreams, something was bothering us. Cyrus told Elizabeth, in his first attempt to free Lulu, he used the wrong medication and drew unwanted attention. She said, that’s why Lulu’s liver failed. He freed Lulu, just not in the way he intended. She understood that, but why kill Sam? He said, Sam got in the way of him carrying out the Lord’s. Her donation would keep Lulu going, but not free her from her prison. Elizabeth asked if it was punishment, but he said it was a consequence of obstructing the Lord’s will. He also discovered that digitalis was the best way to free everyone else. She said it was fast, effective, and relatively painless. But what about Dex? He’d been young and healthy.

Cyrus said, Dex had been in the vicinity of Sam’s room and seen him, and Elizabeth said, it sounded less like God’s will and more like something the old Cyrus would do. He said Dex almost killed him on Sonny’s orders, but he had no malice in his heart. Cyrus flashed back to taking Dex’s hospital wristband when Dex was in the morgue. He said he had to remove Dex, and Elizabeth said, because of his mission. What would happen to the souls that needed to be freed? He said she understood, and she said he was able to help try to free Michael. He said he wanted to liberate Michael from his physical suffering, and she asked if there wasn’t another reason. He’d spoken about how his mother was suffering. He said, that’s what awakened him to his purpose. Martin had her living what barely qualified as a life. If he could set her free, he would. She said, it was a different type of healing, and he thanked her for understanding the importance of his mission.

Emma thanked Josslyn for her donation, but pressure her again for her presence. A worker came in to relieve Josslyn and she left. Gio told Emma that her approach needed work, and Emma said, friends speak the truth. He said she was a great salesperson, and he appreciated her passion. Chase told Dante that it wasn’t Brook, it was him, but Dante said there was more than one way to have a family. Chase said Brook deserved to be a mom and he’d do anything to be a dad.

Elizabeth said Cyrus’s purpose was not unlike hers, to help and heal, and he said nothing was going to jeopardize his mission. She should understand why he had to do this. He brought out the syringe and came toward her, when Lucky burst in. He told Cyrus, get away from her!

Lucas left and Brad sighed. Curtis told Portia about asking Drew to leave. There were no threats, but he wanted to make it clear whose club it was. He didn’t need Drew to ruin his evening. Drew showed Willow his new house and she said she loved it. Brook said it was part of Lulu’s job to answer the phone and be warm and courteous, especially to those who had a rare ingredient that was impossible to get. Lulu said she was at first, and Brook asked if she ever thought of anyone besides herself. Lulu said Brook got everything she wanted. She had the perfect life, job, and husband, and would have the perfect children. If she wasn’t getting what she wanted, it was her own fault. Dante walked in and asked, what’s going on?

Cyrus told Lucky not to get in the way, and Elizabeth broke free. Cyrus tried to stab Lucky with the syringe, and they struggled.

Dante told Brook where Chase was, and she left. He asked what Lulu said, and Lulu told him that she’d said Brook’s life was perfect. If she wasn’t getting what she wanted, it was her own fault. Dante suggested she back off, and Lulu said, all Brook did was complain about her perfect life. She woke up after four years in a coma to a life she didn’t recognize. By comparison, Brook’s life was heaven. Dante told her to cut Brook some slack. She found out she and Chase couldn’t have children. Emma thanked Gio for his patience, honesty, and commitment to the cause, and he said he enjoyed her company too. Portia asked if Brad had a nice Valentine’s Day and he said, better than expected. She said she was glad to hear it and would see him at work. She told Curtis that she wanted to put the bad stuff behind her and was focusing on what was right in front of her. Willow said she was sure Drew wanted to find a home for Scout, and he said, also for you and our kids, and asked her to move in with him.  While Carly put Donna back in bed, Jack’s phone rang. By the time Carly returned, Jack had his coat on. She asked if something was wrong and he said, unfortunately, something came up at work. They agreed to another time and kissed.

Lucky got the better of Cyrus, but Cyrus stabbed Lucky in the leg with the syringe. Elizabeth called 911 as she came down the stairs and saw the syringe sticking out of Lucky’s leg.

Thursday:

Brook came home to find Chase, rose petals, and champagne. Dante told Lulu that there was a fertility issue with Chase.

Lucky slugged Cyrus and got a syringe in the leg for his trouble. Cyrus jumped up, tried to strangle lucky, and fled, while Elizabeth called 911. Jordan met with Laura, who wanted to make the esplanade happen, but still protect the city. Anna joined them and Laura said, in a potential battle between Sonny, Drew, and Sidwell, who was the biggest threat? (It’s like, Superman vs. the dinosaurs.) Drew asked Willow to move in with the kids. Jason went to Sam’s grave and said he needed to make a choice between what he wanted and what he thought she wanted. Josslyn snuck around Cyrus’s apartment and looked through his stuff.

Stella came to The Savoy to have a nightcap with Curtis, who had a special Valentine’s Day cocktail for her. Portia left and Stella asked if there was something else going on. He said there may be a favor only she could provide. Lucky was unconscious and Elizabeth did chest compression. Brook and Chase kissed, but she pulled away and said she couldn’t believe she was so lucky. He said, but he couldn’t give her a baby. Lulu felt terrible for Brook and Chase, and Dante said Brook had been nothing but supportive. He said being a father was one of the greatest joys of his life and Lulu said, the same for her with being a mother. Laura asked if Anna would bring Sonny down if she found evidence to do it, and Anna said, Drew was encouraging it. Jordan said that worried her because Drew wanted to align himself with Sidwell. Anna and Laura agreed and said he wanted the port to move his illegal merchandise. Jordan said Drew had a lot of influence, but she’d rather deal with the devil she knew than Sidwell. Willow thought the kids had been bounced around enough and Drew said he wanted all the kids to have stability. He tried his best to talk her into moving in.

Jason told Sam that he could kill Cyrus and get away with it, and he wanted to kill him. One thing held him back. He knew Sam wanted him to put their son before his need for vengeance. Josslyn continued to toss Cyrus’s place. Lulu said Brook knew things about Dante that she didn’t and it was hard, but he said, it shouldn’t be. Carly used their history to break them up, but Brook knew it was wrong and still felt terrible. It was a long time ago and time to let it go. They were friends and that was it. Brook said she meant their vows from the bottom of her heart, but Chase said she couldn’t have expected this. She said it was hard, but sometimes plans changed. It didn’t mean they still couldn’t be parents. Willow told Drew that nothing about their situation was perfect. For one, she was still married. Drew said Michael had filed for divorce and was out of the country, and Willow said he was fighting for his life. Drew said she was alone with the kids, and she said Wiley adored his father. She hadn’t told Wiley that they were splitting up, so moving in felt wrong. Jason promised to always put Danny first.

Josslyn almost left, but kept looking until she found an envelope with hospital wristbands in it, particularly Dex and Sam’s. Laura said they couldn’t have Port Charles in a territory battle and Jordan said Drew was different and not in a good way. Anna said Drew’s willingness to align himself with Sidwell was worrisome, and Laura asked if they could no longer trust him. Anna left to take a call about Cyrus, and Laura got a call from Elizabeth, who told her to get to the hospital right away. Lucky was in trouble.

Curtis said he understood Stella was friends with Congressman Douglas Henderson and she said they went way back. They agreed he was a good man and influential in Washington. Curtis said he needed Stella to introduce him, and he needed to develop a relationship before Drew destroyed everything he was building. Willow said she cared about Drew so much and he said he didn’t want to pressure her. They had the rest of their lives. He thought when she was ready, they should tell the kids about their relationship together, but she said she didn’t want to talk to them while Michael was recovering. Lulu said part of her was threatened by Brook. Not because of Dante, but she lost four years, and it was like Brook stepped into the important parts of her life. Dante suggested she felt like Brook took her place in all their lives and she said, maybe. She was starting to wonder if she had a place there at all. Chase said Brook was a natural at being a mom and she said, however they brought a child into their lives, it would be together, and it would be a part of both of them. Anna arrived at Elizabeth’s where an officer filled her in on what happened and said Cyrus fled the scene. They had an APB out on him and Lucky was in the hospital. Elizabeth told Isaiah that Lucky had been given digitalis and Laura showed up at the hospital. Josslyn said, Dex didn’t deserve this, and took photos. Cyrus walked in.

Lulu said she sounded selfish, but Dante said she wasn’t. She said it was hard to realize the family you wanted wasn’t going to happen and wanted to apologize, but he said Chase told him in confidence. Her phone rang and she told Dante that it was Lucky and ran out. Anna said they’d waited too long to arrest Cyrus and now Lucky could die. On his way in, Aiden overheard. Elizabeth told Laura about Cyrus attacking Lucky because she and Lucky suspected him of killing people, including Sam. He’d said it was a divine calling, saving them from their suffering, and he was the reason Lulu’s liver failed. Cyrus got an ax and said Josslyn shouldn’t have come. Josslyn said he’d killed Sam and Dex and wasn’t getting away with it. He said they’d gotten in the way of his mission, and she had too. He came after her and she shot him.

Cyrus said now Josslyn was the murderer and died (I think). Anna brought Aiden to the hospital and talked to Elizabeth. Chase said if they adopted it wouldn’t be fair to Brook, but she said she didn’t look at it that way. Families were created all different ways, and none was better than the other. He said he was robbing her of the experience. Curtis said Drew was gunning for him and wouldn’t hesitate to stop projects from going through at the federal level, even if they helped his constituents. He’d changed and become vindictive. Stella said he’d backstabbed Curtis and Curtis said Drew would bring the same dark energy to Washington. Would she help him?

Drew came home and Jason was there. Lulu and Dante arrived at the hospital, and Lulu went to see Lucky. Dante wanted in on finding Cyrus and Anna said okay. Josslyn moved the ax, then checked Cyrus’s pulse. She looked at Jason and Jack’s numbers, then made a call. She said, I need your help.

Stella said Drew was gunning for Curtis and she needed to let Doug know what a snake Drew was. There were few people she held in as high a regard. Curtis could count her in, but a word of advice. Drew didn’t like a mirror held up to him. She asked why he was coming after Curtis. Drew said he wasn’t in the mood for another battle, but Jason said he was here to make peace. Drew asked why the hell he would want to, and Jason said, for Sam. Chase said it was because of him that Brook wouldn’t experience a miracle growing inside her and she cried for him to stop. She’d had a baby. She’d been pregnant before. Isaiah came out and Laura asked if her son was alive. Anna found out Cyrus was heading southeast in his car. Josslyn paced the apartment when someone came in. It was Jack.

🫔 Friday’s Enchilada:

Chase says, what does Brook mean, she had a baby? Is she talking about Bailey Lou, when she pretended to be pregnant? She says she wasn’t pretending. She got pregnant in high school and had a baby. She gave the baby up and never told anyone except her ma, not even the father. Chase asks if Ned knows, but she says, no. She knows it’s a lot to take in. He says, she got pregnant when she was a teenager and has been carrying the secret ever since.

Tracy wants to go over the menu for the library board dinner with Sasha and asks for some tea. Sasha asks if she wants her special blend, and Tracy says, yes. Sasha says, but first, she thought Tracy should know a P.I. has been snooping around. She’s pretty sure it’s to get dirt on Michael. Tracy asks, what makes her say that? and Sasha says she had an encounter with a woman named Elaine and her dog outside Bobbie’s and then in the park. Eventually, Elaine told Sasha herself that someone was looking into her. Tracy asks what Sasha told Elaine before she knew.

Drew says, Jason, of all people, walks into his house demanding peace, and Jason says he wants to respect Sam’s wishes that Danny and Scout stay together, but it’s never going to happen when they’re at each other’s throats. So he’s here about a truce for the kids. Drew says, now he wants to honor Sam’s wishes? He’s just asking because Jason clearly didn’t care when Jason ambushed him the night before the funeral and he’s trying to figure this out. What changed?

Isaiah tells Laura and Lulu that they were able to stabilize Lucky, but he’s in guarded condition. Aiden asks what that means, and Isaiah says he gave Aiden’s dad medication to counteract the digitalis. Since they don’t know how much digitalis is in Lucky’s system, it’s too soon for a definite prognosis. Aiden asks if that’s bad, but Elizabeth says, they can’t say yet. Aiden says, dad might not make it, and she hugs him.

Portia tells Lucky, hang in there. He made it all the way home from Africa in one piece. Now he has to make it through this.

Anna tells Dante that they tracked Cyrus’s car to Route 41, and Dante wonders why he’s headed in that direction. There’s nothing out there. Does she think Lucky will be okay? She says she doesn’t know. She hopes so. She’s just grateful Elizabeth wasn’t hurt. Dante wonders, why go after Elizabeth, of all people? and Anna says, Cyrus found out that she and Lucky were asking questions at GH and Turning Woods. He didn’t want them to connect him to the murders. He says, did they? and she says, they found evidence that proves it, and he admitted to Elizabeth that he killed Dex and Sam, among others. She asks if Dante is all right, and he says, yeah, because they got him. Anna says, they did, and Cyrus knows that. If he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life in prison, he’s going to disappear. Dante says, he can run, but there’s no way that bastard can hide.

Jack walks into the cabin and tells Josslyn to hand him the weapon. Josslyn gives the gun to him, and he checks it over. He checks Cyrus’s pulse, and Josslyn says she already did that. He’s dead. Jack says, yes, he is, and she says, Cyrus tried to attack her. He was going to kill her. Jack says he knows. He was outside when it happened. Did she call anyone else? She says, no, just him, and he says, good. They still have a small window in which to clean up. She asks if they shouldn’t call the police, and he says, they could. Or they could take care of it themselves.

Brook says she’s so sorry she never told Chase. It was a strange time. When she realized she was pregnant, she was terrified. She didn’t know what to do. She wasn’t ready to be a mom. Chase says, of course (🍷) not. She was just a kid. He can’t imagine how scared and alone she felt. She says, at least she had her mom, and he asks if Lois stepped up. Brook says, big time. She was incredible. She wasn’t thrilled Brook got pregnant in the first place, but once the shock wore off, Lois was in her corner 100%. He says he’s glad, but not surprised. Was it hard to decide? She says, terminating the pregnancy didn’t feel like an option at the time. She knew she’d be having the baby and the decision not to keep it came to her pretty quickly. There was just no way she could be a mom. He says he gets it, and she says, when it came down to it, she knew the rest of the family could never find out. She was already so overwhelmed, the last thing she needed were the judgements and opinions of the family. So she went on tour with her mom for five months, had the baby, and went back to her life. Her mom made all the arrangements. He says he assumes it was a closed adoption, and she says she never even saw the baby. She was afraid if she did, she couldn’t give it up. He says, so she doesn’t know if she had a boy or a girl? and she says, no. He says, it must have been insanely hard, especially at that age, and she says, he isn’t angry with her?

Isaiah says he wishes he could promise Aiden’s dad was going to be okay, but they just don’t know. He’s in ICU and being closely monitored. Elizabeth says, they’re doing everything they can, and Isaiah says, they know how strong Lucky is. Lulu says, the absolute strongest, and Aiden says he’s sorry for freaking out. Isaiah says he gets it. Lucky is the best friend he’s ever had. Laura asks if it’s possible for someone to sit with Lucky now, and Isaiah says, absolutely. Laura tells Elizabeth and Aiden to go first and tell Lucky that his mother and sister love him. Aiden and Elizabeth leave to go to Lucky’s room, and Lulu says, Lucky is going to be okay. Laura says she knows. He’ll survive Cyrus like Lulu just did. They hug.

Jason says, Scout and her siblings just lost their mom, and Drew says he’s aware. Jason says, they need to be together, so he and Drew need to work together. Drew says, Jason doesn’t play well with others, and Jason says, Drew doesn’t like how he lives. He doesn’t like how Drew lives. But it doesn’t matter. All that matters is that it’s okay for the kids because they’re family. Drew says, and Jason knows all about family.

Sasha says she told Elaine her approximate due date. That’s it. She’s not sure what Elaine was looking for, but she assumes Willow’s lawyer hired her. Tracy says, good guess, and Sasha says she just thought Tracy would like to know that somebody is being investigated. Tracy thanks her for the intel, and Sasha says she’s welcome… Tracy is holding something back. She can tell. Tracy says she’s been known for that, and Sasha tells her, say it. Tracy says she promised not to ask invasive questions, and Sasha asks if she has one. Tracy asks, if Jason is the father, are they planning on getting married? and Sasha says she gets it. Tracy wants to know what she’s looking to make off the Quartermaine name.

On the phone, Anna says, let her know if they turn up anything, and Dante says, it was smart of her to contact Pentenville. Cyrus was in there a long time. He must have made connections. Anna says she was thinking a former associate could tell them where Cyrus might go. The longer they’re without a lead, the less likely they are to track Cyrus. He asks if Elizabeth said why Cyrus killed the patients, and Anna says she thinks it was some kind of divine mission to release them from their suffering. From what he told Elizabeth, he’s been doing it since he got out of prison. Dante says, it doesn’t make sense. Dex and Sam were healthy. Why target them? She says, they got in his way.

In Lucky’s room, Elizabeth asks how he’s doing, and Portia says, he’s holding his own. Elizabeth says, that’s good news, and Portia says she’ll let them have time alone with him. Portia leaves and they go over to the bed. Elizabeth says she’s here. So is Aiden. He needs to hang on and come back to them. She’s going to say it again when he opens his eyes, but she thanks him for saving her life tonight. Aiden says, mom’s safe now and he has to wake up.

Jack says, they don’t have to call the police, and asks where Josslyn got the gun. She says, it’s Dex’s. Everybody knows how much she hates Cyrus and that she thinks he killed Dex. Now she killed him with Dex’s gun. Who will believe it was in self-defense? Jack says, coming in the cabin with a gun does imply intent, and she says, he knows what happened. He says he wasn’t in the room. Technically, people could say he didn’t see what happened. She says, he doesn’t believe her, and he says he does, but it won’t hold up in a court of law. He can take care of it, but once the WSB is involved, no one can know what happened, not even her mother. Can she do that? If not, they’ll call the police right now. She looks at Cyrus’s body and nods. She says she can do it. Stay quiet. Jack says, they’re leaving… and she says, but her fingerprints… He says, now. If anyone asks her, she was never at the cabin. Does she understand? She nods and they leave.

Drew says, ever since he found out he and Jason were twins, his whole life hinged on one moment. What if Susan Moore had brought him back to Port Charles instead of Jason? He would have grown up with Monica and Alan and would have lived the life of luxury as a Quartermaine. Instead, he got Betsy Frank, a group home, and he was on his own at 18. Jason says he had no control over that, and Drew says, they loved Jason, despite his never having appreciated it and hurting their parents, breaking their hearts over and over. He had no need of anything Quartermaine. Jason says, they’re done, but Drew says, it’s his house. He’ll tell Jason when they’re done. Jason wants to come back home? Now that Drew has made a place for himself and took the Quartermaine name. Now he wants to come back? That’s perfect. He and the Quartermaines can have each other. He’ll be over here with his daughter. Jason says, he’s okay with Scout losing Sam, Danny, and Rocco all at once? and Drew says, what Scout is going through breaks his heart, but as her father, he’ll do what’s best for her – always.

Jordan asks if Anna had any luck, and Anna says she had them run the name Paul Damascus and Cyrus never used it before, but when they were running the DEA list of Cyrus’s associates, a name jumped out – Gatlin. Jordan says, Cyrus has a connection to a Gatlin family based in Pautuck, and Anna says, a deep connection? Jordan says, decades, and Anna says, a doctor at GH was shot dead in 2023 who was from Pautuck. Dante says, the murder was never solved, and Jordan says, the doctor had several properties in Pautuck. Anna makes a call, and says she’ll need a list of properties southeast of Port Charles rented or owned by a Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt.

Josslyn walks into Jack’s office, and he asks if anybody saw her come in. She says, no, and he tells her to go to the bathroom and shower. Wash away all the evidence. Leave her clothes, jewelry, and phone, anything she brought to the cabin, in the bathroom. There’s a change of clothes for her in there. Can she handle that? She says, yeah, and when she leaves, Jack takes out the gun, wipes it, and puts it on his desk. Colette comes in and says she got his message. Jack says, Cyrus Renault is dead, and she asks, what the hell happened?

In the bathroom, Josslyn flashes back to Cyrus coming at her and her shooting him. She throws up.

Jack tells Colette that Josslyn had a gun he wasn’t aware of, but it’s fine. She only called him. She says, still, the clean-up might not be as easy as he thinks. Renault attacked Lucky Spencer and Elizabeth Baldwin tonight. Lucky is in the hospital and there’s an APB out on Renault. Who knows how long it will take Anna to find the cabin?

Laura says, does Lulu remember her saying how Cyrus visited her? and Lulu says, it was too creepy to forget. Laura says, Cyrus told Elizabeth that he had plans to free her from her coma, and Lulu says, aka kill her. Laura says, something went wrong, and it only affected her liver, and Lulu says, Cyrus caused her liver failure? Laura says, yes. She’s very sorry. Lulu says, why? and Laura says, because Cyrus is her brother. Lulu says, it’s not exactly her fault, and Larua says she knows that, but in retrospect, she can see that strange fascination he had in her. Lulu says, no one could predict he would do this, and Laura says, he’s a very sick man, but if Lulu hadn’t woken up when she did… Oh my God. Laura hugs her, cries, and says, they would have lost her.

Aiden says, it’s been cool having Lucky home. It made him realize how much he missed him. Thanks for showing up and being on his side. And grandma and Aunt Lulu want him to know they love him. Elizabeth says, they all think he’s had enough beauty rest now. Come out of this. Aiden says, he has to wake up. He just has to. Suddenly, an alarm goes off.

Jason asks if Drew is really going to keep Scout from her brothers, and Drew says, Scout’s got him. And they’ll have Willow and her kids. It’s all the family they need and she’s going nowhere near the Quartermaines. Jason says, because Drew got his feelings hurt? but Drew says, because the Quartermaines are terrible people. He did all he could to fit in. He did everything he could to keep the family going. The second he does something for himself, they can’t turn their backs fast enough. Because he fell in love with the wrong woman. Compared to what they’ve done? To a murderer hitman, it’s always home. Jason says, Drew is making a huge mistake, but Drew says he doesn’t think so. The Quartermaine name, he’s got it. The Quartermaine money, it’s in the bank. He doesn’t need the people and headache that go along with it. We’re done. He opens the door and says, get out of my house. Jason walks out.

Sasha says she is not discussing her personal life, and Tracy says, good. Just listen. She didn’t get knocked up by some random guy at a bar, a one-night stand with a Quartermaine. Sasha says, allegedly, and Tracy says, allegedly a Quartermaine, but not just any Quartermaine, a family favorite. Sasha says, not hers, and Tracy says, absolutely not. She’s wanted nothing to do with him for years, but her mother adored him, as did Monica. He could do no wrong in their eyes. Sasha asks how many times she has to say it. She doesn’t want or expect anything from the family. Tracy says, what does the family expect from her? and she asks, what happened to her right to make decisions for her own baby? Tracy says, she does, but she can’t keep going ahead like the baby is exclusively hers. Not if it’s a Quartermaine.

Chase tells Brook that he’s not angry with her. Just the opposite. He hates that she had to keep the secret for so long. She says she hated keeping it from him, when she let herself think about it. She trained herself not to. He says, she compartmentalized, and she says she put it in a box and rarely took it out. He says, it makes sense. How is she supposed to move on? She says, the baby was with her for 9 months technically. She loved him or her so much. She wanted to give them the best life possible. He says, she has no idea where they went? and she says, no. She trusted her mom, who worked with the agency to find a good home. She’s so sorry for lying. He says, show him the lie. All she did was keep part of her past private. Just because they’re married, she doesn’t have to share every little thing. She says, it’s not little, and he says, maybe not, but she gets to choose who she shares it with and who she doesn’t want asking questions. He does want to know one thing.

Josslyn wipes the steam from the bathroom mirror. She flashes back to looking at dead Cyrus and leans on the sink.

Jack says, Anna’s not aware of the cabin, and Colette says, not yet, but it’s just a matter of time. He asks if they’re monitoring the PCPD radio, and she says, Renault was spotted on Route 41. The police know his direction and it’s not a densely populated area. He says, the cabin is one of the few options, and she asks if he honestly thinks Josslyn can keep quiet. She’s just a kid. She’ll want to tell someone. He says, let him worry about Josslyn. It’s her job to get a team to the cabin before Anna finds it. She says, a total clean-up? and he says, with one exception.

Isaiah runs into Lucky’s room and Elizabeth hustles Aiden out. Isaiah uses the defibrillator on Lucky.

Lulu tells Laura that Dr. Gannon said her body’s reaction to the liver transplant could be why she woke up after four years. If Cyrus hadn’t tried to kill her, she probably wouldn’t have woken up. Laura says she guesses Lulu is right, and Lulu says, if she hadn’t needed a liver transplant, Sam would be here. Laura says, they’ve been through this. She can’t let herself think like that. She’s not responsible for Sam’s death. That’s on Cyrus. She doesn’t care about his crazy savior story. He’s been killing people. If she needs to point a finger, put the blame where it belongs, on Cyrus. And the people he paid off or blackmailed to get out of prison. He never should have been let out.

Elizabeth and Aiden come out and Elizabeth says, Lucky’s heart stopped. He’s in defibrillation. Aiden says, his dad is dying.

They continue to use the paddles on Lucky, and Isaiah says, come on. Don’t do this to me. He begins chest compression.

Jack puts the gun in a bag, then in a bin. Josslyn comes back and he tells her to have a seat. She asks, what happens now? and he asks if she told anyone where she went. She says, no, and he asks if she told anyone the address. She says, no, she didn’t tell anyone. Why did Colette give her the address? He says, she set everything in motion when she asked to see the footage from Rice Plaza, and she says, when she was finding out who killed Dex? He says, it was strategic thinking on her part, and she says, it got her nowhere. The footage was gone. He says, no, it wasn’t, and shows her a still shot of Cyrus. He says, it shows her instincts were spot on, and she says she doesn’t understand. He knew the whole time and didn’t go to the police? He says he wanted to see what she’d do.

Brook says, ask anything, and Chase asks if she’s okay. She says, that’s his one question? and he says he can’t imagine going through something so huge. In high school, his biggest stressor was if he’d make varsity or not. She had to choose a future, not just for her, but her child. She’s amazing. He was already thinking she’s so strong and he didn’t know the half of it.

Isaiah says, Lucky never quit on him before. Don’t quit now.

Anna suggests Dante go see Lulu and find out how Lucky is doing. He says, she put him back on the case, and she says she told him that he could work on the case, not personally apprehend Cyrus. He asks if she thinks he’d go rogue and kill Cyrus. He’s thought about it and death is too easy an out. He’ll follow protocol. Anna’s phone rings and she asks, what’s the address?… Send units. She’ll be right there. Dante says, that’s off Route 41, and Anna says, let’s go now. Dante asks Jordan to keep them posted on Lucky, and she says, will do. Good luck.

Portia says, they got him back. Lucky is stable. Aiden says, he’s going to be okay? and Portia nods. Lulu says, his dad is strong and hugs him. Elizabeth hugs Aiden and Laura hugs Lulu.

Sasha says, privacy is starting to be impossible in this house, and Tracy says, starting? Too funny. Sasha can keep playing the who’s-the-daddy game all she wants, but she’s inclined to believe Cody. Sasha says, fine. Jason is the father. Happy? Tracy shrugs, when Jason walks in. Sasha says she is so done with this day and walks past him and out. Tracy says she guesses congratulations are in order.

Josslyn says, Jack knew Cyrus killed Dex and did nothing? but he says, on the contrary. He fed her clues and followed her. She asks if he’s playing some game because he’s into her mom, but he says, it’s got nothing to do with Carly. It’s clear Josslyn is special. She’s got all the qualities necessary to make a great agent – ingenuity, initiative, willing and able to do what’s necessary. She asks, necessary for what? and he says, for the WSB. He wants her to become one of them.

Brook says, truly, Chase isn’t upset? If he were, she would understand. He says, stop and think. Would she be? She says, so many of their past problems were because of her lying, and this is another one of those times, but he says he doesn’t consider this a lie. He’s curious. Why tell him now? She says, he was beating himself up about her not getting pregnant naturally. She couldn’t stand it. He says, once it had a bearing on their relationship, she told him. She can tell him anything. She says she kept it buried so long, and he thanks her for sharing such an intimate part of herself. She says she loves him and trusts him with her life, and he says, right back at her. They kiss.

Laura says she can’t thank them enough, and Portia says, Lucky is still being monitored closely, but the danger has passed as of now. Aiden thanks her for saving Lucky’s life, and she says she had a lot of help. Isaiah says, Lucky refused to give up, and Aiden says he wants to thank Isaiah too.

Isaiah goes into Lucky’s room and says, it’s not cool making him sweat like that. He guesses it wouldn’t be Lucky if he wasn’t a colossal pain in the ass. He thanks Lucky and says he doesn’t know what he would have done if he’d lost him.

Tracy says, Jason isn’t planning on moving out. This is Danny’s home, and he needs stability. Jason agrees he does, and he’ll do whatever it takes to give that to Danny. Tracy says she knows the living situation is not his first choice – or second or third – but she’s glad his priority is Danny. It shows his loyalty is to the family, because they are family. Despite the past, he’s one of them. Jason says, just not one she wants around. Drew is coming for him.

Josslyn says, Jack set her up to kill Cyrus so he could hold it over her head to join the WSB, but he says he didn’t know she had access to a gun. Did anyone else know? She says, no, and he asks why she brought it. She says, to protect herself – obviously – which does not make her a spy. He says, it does. She shields herself not by hiding, but by acting. What happened in the cabin? Tell him. Josslyn says she found the patients’ ID bracelets and saw how many Cyrus killed. There was one for Dex. Cyrus was going to attack her with a hatchet and she shot him in self-defense. He says, if Cyrus hadn’t attacked her, would she have not pulled the trigger, and Josslyn cries and says she doesn’t know. He says, good thing they didn’t call police then.

Anna’s team approaches the cabin. Anna nods and Dante kicks in the door.

Brook says, it was stupid not to tell him sooner, but Chase says, she told him when she was ready. He wonders if she’s judging herself for her decision, and she says, a decision that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. What if she gave up the baby and it didn’t give them a better life? He asks if she wants to try and find her child, but she says she doesn’t know. He asks if she ever tried, and she says, no. He asks if she thought about it, and she says, of course (🍷), but wouldn’t it be unfair to crash into the child’s life after letting them go? He says, having Brook in their life could only make It better. Trust him. It’s 100% her decision, but if she decides to try to find them, he’ll help in any way he can.

Tracy says, Drew is coming after all of them. She assumes he’s the one who convinced Willow to hire a P.I. to find something that she can use against Michael in the divorce. Jason says, Drew blames the whole family for turning against him, and she says, they’ve made Drew the enemy. She can’t believe she’s saying this, but she’s so glad he’s here. They need him. Welcome home. She pats his shoulder and leaves.

Aiden says, they’re all here. Laura and his mom are here. Lulu says, hey, big brother, and Aiden says, they love him and can’t wait for him to wake up. Lulu tells Lucky, hurry up. Patience is not her strong suit.

Jordan says she heard Isaiah saved another life. Congratulations. Isaiah says, it was a close one and he’s not responsible. It was difficult and he thought he’d lose Lucky. Jordan says she speaks for all Lucky’s loved ones. She’s grateful he fought so hard for his friend. Isaiah says, he’s grateful to Lucky. He’s too stubborn to die.

Inside the cabin, an officer tells Anna, the surrounding area is clear, and Anna says, expand the radios. She tells Dante, aside from everything being completely dust free, no one has inhabited this cabin lately. Dante says, there’s no sign of anything, and Anna tells the officer, get forensics here asap. He leaves, and Anna says, if Cyrus was in the cabin, he left something behind. They have to find what it is.

Josslyn says, what about the evidence in the cabin? and Jack says, it’s been taken care of. Josslyn says, even if she doesn’t accept the offer? and he says, even if. But he strongly urges her to consider it. She’d make one hell of an agent. As far as tonight goes, she needs a story. He hands her some cash and says, buy herself a new phone. Say she lost hers. Her car was driven here. Can she drive home? She says, yes, and he says, be in touch. She leaves, and Colette comes in. Colette says, she gets to walk out, just like that? and Jack says, yes. When she comes back, it’s better if she thinks it’s her idea.

On Monday, Anna needs someone at the station right now; Kai says Trina is the only reason he’s not losing his mind right now; Kristina tells Molly that she’s never going to believe in the system again; and Brook tells Lois that she told Chase everything.

💉 A Dose Of Reality…

Below Deck Down Under

While I didn’t watch this, I did read about Harry’s accident. Yikes!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

The trip to see Sutton’s mom ended, and Sutton finally heard I love you from Reba. In Sutton’s interview, she said she hadn’t felt like this with her mother since her sophomore year in college on Mother’s weekend. Dorit was having a 4th of July barbecue, per tradition with her kids, but adding the women. In Dorit’s interview, she said it felt like there was definitely something missing because PK wasn’t there, and she wanted to have fun with her friends and kids. Good luck with that first one. Sutton got there first, and there were zero people to greet her, a huge party faux pas, no matter who you are. You don’t just leave people to wander around on their own. Kyle came next, Dorit still nowhere to be found, and they noticed a table of framed photos that they dubbed a shrine to PK. It was 40 minutes before Dorit made her appearance. Although she still couldn’t be bothered to greet Sutton. When she finally did, she snatched Sutton’s bag and insisted Sutton give it to her, literally not giving it back. In her interview, she said it was about Sutton interrupting her talking about Jagger – we flashed back, and Sutton had good reason – but giving her the bag would equal forgiveness. It was a hard no.

The spread was amazing, and things were good for like, five minutes, until Dorit made a jab at Sutton about drinking alcohol. What is wrong with that woman? Sutton said she was a bitch, which caused Dorit to spiral because Sutton had called her a bitch in her own home. Here’s a hint. If you don’t want to be called a bitch, don’t be one. In her interview, Sutton said Dorit had never apologized for insinuating she had a drinking problem, and we flashed back to Dorit’s various comments about it. Sutton decided she was going to jet, and in the bitch’s Dorit’s interview, she intimated that there must be something to it if Sutton was making such a big deal. No. She’s just sick of you calling her an alcoholic. In Kyle’s interview, she tried to compare her tirade and walking out of Boz’s spa day, even though it was not at all the same thing. Boz thought Sutton leaving was rude, and Garcelle told Boz to quit being Dorit’s spokesperson. Kyle was also irritated with Dorit agreeing with everything Boz said, but they ended up hugging it out. For now.

Where are they now?

Let’s talk about the husband.

Summer House

They toasted to how mature they were. Here’s where I would look at the camera if there was one. Ciara brought up West’s New York Times article at dinner, which is where sensitive, anger inducing topics are always broached. Lindsay broke the tension by needing to run to the bathroom. West kinda sorta apologized to Ciara, Paige avoided getting together with Craig, and it was the same old except for Lindsay being pregnant.

This picture is so weird. It’s like they were suddenly plopped in from different climates.

Southern Charm

Molly, Taylor, and Rodrigo did flamingo yoga, which is like goat yoga but with flamingoes. Biggest reveal? Craig watches a lot of 90 Day Fiancé. Me too! The biggest non-surprise? Sienna is so not interested in a relationship with Shep. I would say it was painful to watch, but seeing him get a taste of his own medicine was too delicious.

Southern Hospitality

It was back from Vegas and back to reality after Maddi and Joe’s fake wedding by Elvis impersonator. She seemed to be wearying of Joe’s attention. The best quote: I’m the bitch that runs the bitches who think they run the bitch.Michols Peña

Random Reality Items

Now there will be no let up about him proposing. Not from Dolores, but everyone else.

Do we really need another branch of the franchise? They’re always intriguing in the beginning. Then they degenerate into a screaming match.

In a surprise twist, Lady Gaga has time to watch TV.

👀 Last Weekend’s Watch…

Cassandra. Netflix. My favorite horror genres are in this order: Zombie apocalypse, any zombies, any apocalypse, technology is evil, large monsters like Godzilla and/or dinosaurs, and sharks. This imported miniseries from Germany falls under technology being evil, but with a twist. Cassandra is the face behind a smart house and she’s out of control. The surprise is, she has a backstory, that’s told parallel to the nightmare of the family who moves in.

Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End. Amazon Prime. And in my favorite genre, reveled clearly in the title, this was one exciting zombie romp. A Spanish thriller based on a book, the story revolves around a man and his cat who are trying to make it to a safe place. The action and the special effects were impressive. It wasn’t 2 hours of my life I wanted back and it gave me the zombie fix I so desperately needed. No spoilers here:

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Spencer and Trina see Laura coming out of Kelly’s, and Laura says, it’s nice to see them. She thinks Cameron needs friends tonight, and Spencer says, they’ll look after him and make sure he’s okay. Laura leaves, and Trina asks if he knows what going on with Cam. He says, Joss stabbed him in the back.

In her dorm room, Josslyn flashes back to Cameron saying he’ll keep her secret, but not to thank him for being a better person than she is. Unlike her, he doesn’t betray the people he cares about. There’s a knock at the door, and Josslyn opens it to Carly, who says she got Josslyn’s message. What’s wrong? Josslyn says she screwed up, and grabs Carly in a hug.

Drew is arm wrestling with Wiley, and asks if Wiley’s been lifting weights. Wiley says, no, and Drew lets him win, saying, then he’s definitely been eating spinach. Look what just happened. Wiley says he’s strong, and Drew says he demands a do-over. Wiley wants to tell grandma, and Drew flashes back to being on the beach with Carly and kissing her.

On the phone in a private area of the MetroCourt, Victor says he’s perfectly aware the accommodations aren’t as luxurious as their guests would wish, but they’ll have to do for the time being. Keep him apprised of any developments. She might just be his best hope of bringing his son back to him.

Anna asks if Lucy can hear them, and says, it’s her and Valentin. Valentin tells her, nod her head yes or no; is she hurt? Lucy yells a bunch of stuff, but she’s not understandable through the gag. We see she’s handcuffed to a pipe, and Anna says, they’re going to get her.

Drew says, Wiley can tell grandma about his epic win later. Right now, it’s time for bed. There’s a knock at the gatehouse door, and Drew opens it to Olivia, who has a foil covered platter in her hands. Wiley says, hi, Mama Q, and Olivia says she told him, it’s Auntie Olivia. He tells her, Cody said, it’s Mama Q, and asks if Annabelle is with her. Olivia says, Annabelle is sleeping because she’s tired out from playing with him, and Drew tells Wiley, it’s PJ time; time for bed. Olivia says, that’s why she’s here. Wiley is officially invited to a slumber party up at the main house. Drew asks how that sounds, and Wiley says, yay! Olivia tells him to pick out his favorite PJs and two toys, and Wiley runs upstairs. Olivia says, cutest kid ever… other than Leo of course (🍷). Drew says, of course (🍷), and it’s sweet of her to invite him up to the main house. She says she figured they could use a break. He’s doing a good job of hiding his feelings, but she can tell Drew is worried about Willow. He says, aren’t they all? He’s definitely gotten closer to Willow and Michael over this past year. She’s such an incredible woman, it kills him that she’s going through this right now. She says, at least now there’s hope for a donor. She assumes he knows that Nina is Willow’s mother, and he says he guesses news travels fast. She says, whatever her feelings are for Nina, she just hopes Nina is a good match, and Willow’s going to be okay. Drew says, Willow could be okay already. She could already have her bone marrow transplant, and on her way to recovery if… Olivia says, if what? What isn’t he telling her, and why does she get the distinct impression it has something to do with Carly?

Carly asks, what happened? and Josslyn asks, how’s Willow? Carly says, she’s the same, waiting to see if Nina’s a bone marrow match, and Josslyn says she should have stayed. Carly asks, what’s going on? Josslyn didn’t leave a lot of detail in her message. Josslyn says she hurt Cam all over again. She lost him as a friend. They’ve known each other forever, and she blew it. Carly asks why she says that, and Josslyn says, Cam came over here tonight, and she wasn’t alone.

Walking into Kelly’s, Trina says, Spencer has to explain it to her. What does he mean by Joss stabbed Cam in the back? Cameron looks up from the counter, and Spencer says he can’t believe Trina’s best friend didn’t tell her. Trina says, tell her what? What’s going on? Cameron says, she really doesn’t know? and Spencer says he kept his mouth shut for once. Trina says, about what? If something’s gone wrong with Cameron and Joss, she needs to know. Spencer asks if Cameron wants to tell her, or should he.

Laura brings Charlotte into the MetroCourt restaurant, and they walk over to Martin at the bar. He wonders how he could be so lucky that the two most attractive ladies in the room are paying attention to him, and Laura says, Doc is working late. She and Charlotte decided to have a girls night out. Charlotte asks if he’d like to join them, and Martin says, it’s official. She’s as well-mannered as she is beautiful, but he’d never intrude on a girls night out. Laura suggests Charlotte wash up before dinner, and Charlotte asks Martin to think about having dinner with them. He looks like he could use a friend. She leaves, and he says, out of the mouths of babes. Laura says, she’s very observant, and she’s right. He should have dinner with them. If nothing else, they’ll provide a distraction.

Still on the phone, Victor says, he wants frequent updates and a speedy resolution, when he turns to see Charlotte on her way to the bathroom. He says, hold it right there, granddaughter.

Martin tells Laura to enjoy her girls night out. He has no reason to subject his brand new niece to a serious case of low spirits. She says, he’s got to have faith. She believes Anna and Valentin are going to find Lucy, and bring her home. He says, amen to that. Truth be told, he was sitting here stewing about how he could tip things in their favor. Speaking of, has she ever pondered what was said at Pentenville when they had that little tête-à-tête with their dear incarcerated brother? She asks if he means when Cyrus suggested they work together to bring Victor down. He’s not actually considering that, is he?

In the catacombs, Renee says, she knows the way, follow her, but Anna says, wait. There’s a door right there. Is that the only entrance? Renee says, oui, and Anna says, it’s going to be guarded obviously. Is Renee sure there’s no other point of entry? Valentin says he thinks they’re looking at one. These joints are so rusted, he thinks they can yank this grate right off. He and Anna pull at the grate.

Drew says, Carly has known Nina was Willow’s mother since Harmony died, and didn’t say anything. Olivia says, she what? and he says, she thought she was protecting Willow. As soon as she found out Willow was sick, she did tell the truth. Olivia says, but in the meantime, she kept that information from everyone, including Drew, and he says, but that wasn’t the only lie. Carly was so determined that the truth didn’t come out, she actively sabotaged his search for Willow’s birth family. Olivia asks how he found out about all of this, and he says, Carly confessed once he told her that Willow had leukemia. She says, he’s dealing with some really heavy stuff here, and he says, Willow collapsing and being rushed to the hospital is heavy stuff. They have to show up for her, and that’s all that matters right now. She says, of course (🍷) that’s what matters most, but his relationship with Carly matters too. Does he think their friendship can survive this?

Josslyn tells Carly that she talked to Michael a little bit, but he was totally focused on Willow of course (🍷). She was just sitting around the hospital, and didn’t want to run into Sonny or Nina. Dex showed up, and they  rode in the elevator together. She brought him back here, and it really helped to talk with him and be with him. They decided to order food, and Dex was only in his pants. She wasn’t in much more, and when they went to answer the door, it was Cam. She cries, and says, the look on his face… Carly sits next to her on the bed, kisses her forehead, and says she’s so sorry. Josslyn says, so is she. She’s not sorry she was with Dex, but she’s so sorry she hurt Cam like that.

Trina says, Joss broke up with Cameron on New Year’s, and she’s just hearing about this now? Why didn’t Josslyn tell her? Cameron says he doesn’t know; maybe she was embarrassed. Spencer says he’d be embarrassed to break up with Cam, and I laugh, while Cameron looks like he wants to. Trina asks why Josslyn broke up with him in the first place, and Cameron tells her, she said they grew apart. Spencer says, allegedly, and Trina says, he doesn’t believe her? He says he already told Cam that he thinks there’s more going on than Josslyn’s lame reason, and judging by the look on Cam’s face, he’s guessing he’s right.

Laura says, Martin knows as well as she does that Cyrus’s good intentions also come with an agenda. He says he guesses she’s right, but don’t worry. He’s not seriously considering working with Cyrus, but he did bump into Victor earlier when he was at the hospital. It was a harsh in-your-face reminder why he’s not sitting here having dinner with Lucy tonight. She says she believes Anna and Valentin are going to bring Lucy home; she promises him. He asks how she’s in a position to promise him that, and she says, Valentin sent her a message on Christmas. He asks why she didn’t tell him sooner. Did he say anything about Lucy? She says, he didn’t, but he did say things were going well, and they’re making headway. He asks what the hell that means. They both know, the longer it takes to find Lucy, the less her chances for survival. He’s sick and tired of sitting around, putting all of his eggs in alternate baskets. He’s going to find another way to get to Mr. Victor Cassadine. She says, by representing Esme Prince?

Victor says, Charlotte, how lovely. He’s been meaning to visit her for ages now, but her grandmother has other ideas. He and Laura have their differences, but he was hoping they could put them aside where their shared family is concerned. Oh well. So how is she doing? Charlotte says she’d be a lot better if she knew where her father was.

Valentin and Anna get the grate off, and Anna runs inside. She removes Lucy’s gag, and asks if she’s all right. Lucy says, Anna saved her… after Anna tried to kill her. She doesn’t understand. What the hell is going on? Anna says, it was a set-up; she was framed. They don’t have time to explain. She works on Lucy’s handcuffs, when Renee takes out a gun and says she’s sorry, but Lucy’s not leaving, and neither are they.

Josslyn tells Carly that she asked Dex to leave. He didn’t want to, but he did, and the second she and Cam were alone, he asked her straight out if she’d slept with Dex before they broke up. She didn’t even need to say anything; he could see the truth on her face. Carly asks, what is the truth? and Josslyn says, she and Dex have been sleeping together since New Year’s. So now Cam thinks she’s a liar and a cheater, and she broke up with him for Dex, but she didn’t. Carly says, two things can be true. Her feelings for Cam could have changed at the same time she was starting to connect with Dex. Josslyn says she should have broken up with Cameron weeks ago, but she kept putting it off. Part of that is legit, because they had a lot going on. But another part of her didn’t want to hurt him, and she ended up hurting him even worse. It’s not even that he just walked in here. She had to ask him not to say anything about her and Dex. Sonny told Dex to stay away from her. If he finds out Dex disobeyed him, he could kill him. Carly says, she’s right. Dex is risking his life by being with her, but he’s also risking his life by working for Sonny. That doesn’t seem to bother Dex; does it bother her? Josslyn says she doesn’t know what Carly is asking, and Carly says she was about Josslyn’s age when she met Jason. He also didn’t have a problem with risking his life. In fact, she thinks he liked it, and she liked that he liked it; that he was dangerous, but made her feel safe. Jason would take these crazy chances, but she always knew he’d be there for her. Is that how Dex makes Josslyn feel? Josslyn says, yes, and Carly says, then she’s going down a really difficult road, and needs to be sure this is what she really wants.

Drew tells Olivia, Carly lied to him when she told him that Nina wasn’t Willow’s mother, but he had no reason to doubt her. He certainly didn’t think she’d go to such lengths to cover up the truth. Olivia says, he’s angry, and he says, she’s damn right he’s angry. On Willow’s behalf, knowing what she’s going through, and his; he trusted Carly. Olivia says she and Drew have a lot in common. They’re both straightforward people. They don’t like lies and secrets. They want everything out on the table so they can deal with it. It’s been a real challenge for her dealing with the Quartermaines, and it’s going to be a challenge for Drew dealing with Carly. She can understand why Drew is upset with her. He says, on some level, he gets why Carly lied to him. She found out about Willow’s DNA results during Wiley’s visitation hearing, and he remembers how hard it was on Willow, how furious she was at Nina. He stood up for Carly when her family was laying into her a little bit for telling the truth. Olivia says, clearly, he still cares a little bit about Carly, and he says, of course (🍷) he cares about her, but that doesn’t change the fact she lied to him.

Cameron says, Trina would have to ask Joss. He only knows what she told him. Trina says, they’re going through a rough patch (another phrase I’ve never heard anyone say IRL) right now, but they always seemed meant to be. She thinks they can work through it. Cameron tells her, drop it. He and Joss are done. He gets up, and Spencer says, go easy. Cameron asks what Spencer and Trina are even doing together right now. Esme’s been found; they can stop pretending. Isn’t there enough BS to go around already? He goes in the back, and Spencer says, wow. Sorry about that. Trina says, it’s fine. Cam’s just hurting, so maybe they should give him a break. It was nice of Spencer to stick up for her though. He says, anytime, and she asks if anyone is in his corner tomorrow for Dr. Westbourne’s memorial service. He says he can’t believe she’s gone. He doesn’t know if he’s ready to say goodbye. She asks if it would help if she tagged along, and he says, it would. She says, then it’s a lock, and he says, cool, and thanks her. He says, Cam’s right though, and she says, about what? He says, there’s no reason for them to keep pretending they’re closer than they really are.

Laura asks how Martin could take Esme’s case, and he says, number one, he didn’t have much of a choice. Number two, don’t you dare. If he had to wait around for her approval of all of his clients, he’d never work again. He seems to remember her having a really dim view of him representing Peter August, and look how that turned out. She says, Esme is no Peter August, but she did horrible things to Laura’s family – his family too. He says, which her son made abundantly clear to him when Nikolas had him assigned to this case pro bono. And just so she knows, he tried to remove himself, but Nikolas promised him triple his rate to remain her attorney. He’s been up all night. Even if Nikolas is hiding something up his sleeve, two can play at that game. Her boy and his beloved uncle have been thick as thieves lately. She says, please tell her that he’s not going to use a pregnant girl, who has traumatic memory loss as leverage, and he says, a little. He’s not a monster. They both know the information is power, and if something lands in his lap that will free Lucy, he’s damn well going to take advantage of it. She says she supposes she understands that, but consider this a warning. If he tries to out maneuver Victor, he’s only going to end up in trouble.

Victor asks Esme to join him for a bit. Can he get her a soda? She says, no, and he asks why she’d think he’d do anything to her father. She says she’s not naïve. Victor sent her to boarding school in Switzerland to keep her away from him. He says he thought she was enjoying her new school, but she says she didn’t enjoy not being able to leave or not seeing her papa. Now Victor has done something to get him out of Port Charles. Victor says, her father makes his own choices. He’s very sorry if those choices keep him away for too long, but he fully intends to bring them all back together again soon. Laura appears, and says, they’ll be skipping that reunion. She tells Charlotte, let’s go.

Renee tells Anna, step away from Lucy, and Anna backs away, holding up her hands. Renee says, Anna Devane, always looking escape plan, but there’s no escaping this. In French, she yells for Jean-Claude and Gavin to come here, and they come in. Gavin tells Valentin and Anna to kneel and put their hands behind their heads, and Valentin asks who paid Renee to sell him out. She says she needed the money; she had no choice. Valentin says, she had a choice. She just made the wrong one. Renee says, that depends on where you’re standing, or kneeling, as the case may be. Lucy says, you’re not going to kill us, are you?

Victor says, sorry for interrupting. He was just… Laura says, Charlotte, and steers Charlotte out. Victor’s phone rings, and he says, what? Gavin says, everything’s set. Would he like to speak to everyone? Victor says, put him on speaker, and asks Valentin and Anna how the reunion is going. He’s sorry it’ll be short lived.

Trina tells Spencer, the cops don’t think Esme’s the killer, which means the real Hook is out there, still attacking people who are connected to her. Which means keeping up this charade is their best bet for luring her out from whatever rock she’s hiding under. He says, so they’re agreed; they keep pretending to be a couple. She says, yes, even though her mom called her out for letting him back into her life. He says he can’t say he’s surprised. She had a strong reaction to them. Trina’s mother hates him, and he probably deserves it. She says, it doesn’t matter. She stood up to her mother; told her who she hangs out with is her business. He says, sorry to cause problems between her and her family, but she says she keeps telling them that they need to learn boundaries; that she can make her own choices. He says, her family just cares about her. A lot of people do.

Carly says she can’t tell Josslyn how to live her life. Josslyn is just like her. No one can tell her anything; she has to figure it out for herself. But Carly’s life can be divided by what happened before she met Jason, and everything that happened after. It’s going to be the same for Josslyn if she stays with Dex. That person who puts you in danger, and gets you out of it. That person who makes you want to take crazy chances. The person you want to lie for, even when he doesn’t want you to. As Josslyn’s mother, Carly doesn’t want that for her. Does Josslyn want that? Because it isn’t just some other guy. This will change her life. Josslyn says she can’t un-meet him, and she can’t un-care about him. What’s going to happen between her and Dex has already started, and she doesn’t want it to stop.

Olivia tells Drew, she understands that no one likes to be lied to, but Carly kept the truth from Willow because she was trying to protect her. Her motives could not have been further from selfish. He says, understanding Carly’s motives and trusting her are two different things, and Olivia says she’s willing to bet he was drawn to Carly for all of these traits he’s grappling with right now. Her open heart, and her determination to protect her family at all costs, even when she sometimes hurts the people closest to her. His eyes are open. There’s no pretense about who Carly is, about the things she’s done, and he chose her anyway.

Valentin asks if Victor is going to kill them while he’s half a world away. He never pegged Victor as a coward. Victor asks if Valentin thinks he could dispose of him that easily. He can’t make Charlotte an orphan. Besides, he still has hope for their relationship… Although it probably never stood a chance with her influence. Valentin asks, whose influence? and Victor says, just know that he’ll always be Victor’s son. He’ll never give up on Valentin. Gavin knows where to take Miss Coe and his son. Get rid of Miss Devane. Valentin jumps up, and says, he’ll kill Victor himself.

Drew says, Olivia is right. He wanted to be with Carly for everything she is. Olivia says she knows better than anybody that Carly sometimes goes about things in a backwards way, especially when she’s trying to protect her family. She and Carly have had some epic arguments about their sons, but Carly has also come through for her many times. He says he cares about Carly a lot, but he just doesn’t see kind of future they can have moving forward. Olivia asks if he thinks it was easy for Carly to lie about this. She and Carly have been friends a long time. Carly feels things very deeply, and she’s willing to bet Carly was at war with herself about this. Wanting to be honest with him, wanting to protect her family, not wanting to lay another secret on him. He says, she was so adamant she did right thing, and Olivia says, who knows? Maybe she did based on what she knew and didn’t know. Carly will protect the people she loves at all costs, and damn if that’s not the person she wants to have in her corner. He says, bottom line, they can’t be in relationship where lying is okay, and she says she gets that. Only Drew can decide what’s okay and not okay in his relationship. He’s got to make that decision for himself. She’s going to wrangle Wiley. She heads upstairs, asking him to lock up before he leaves.

Carly tells Josslyn that she said Dex is going to be the person Josslyn lies for, but don’t lie to her. She won’t always approve of what Josslyn’s doing or agree with everything, but she’ll always have Josslyn’s back, and needs to know Josslyn will always come to her when there’s something wrong. Josslyn says, Carly has her own problems and her own life, but Carly says, nothing is more important than being Josslyn’s mother. Josslyn says, okay, she’ll come to Carly, and Carly says, she better. Josslyn asks if Carly misses Jason, and Carly says, every day. Josslyn says, but Drew helps, and Carly says, he did. Josslyn asks if they broke up, and Carly says, not yet. Josslyn asks, what happened? and Carly says she found out Nina was Willow’s mother and didn’t say anything, and he feels betrayed. She kept things from him; she lied to him. Josslyn says, she’s just going to give up? and Carly says she’s holding onto hope they can work through this, but she does understand how he feels. Josslyn says she knows why Carly kept Nina and Willow’s relationship a secret. The same reason she kept her feelings for Dex a secret from Cam. Why inflict unnecessary hurt? Carly says, but Willow and Cam got hurt despite their best intentions, and Josslyn says, because they can’t control how other people feel. They can’t control other people’s reactions to their decisions. That’s why it’s better to tell the truth. It’s less painful than defending a lie. Carly wonders how Josslyn got so wise, but Josslyn says she’s not sure, and they hug.

Trina asks if Spencer has spoken to his father since… Spencer says, since his father got his ex-girlfriend pregnant? No. He’s tried to avoid his father as much as he possibly can, and plans to keep doing so. His father has hurt him again and again. He hates his father for it, and wants nothing to do with him. She says she gets the impulse, but it may not be feasible. Spencer’s about to have a new sibling. Is he really going to let his feelings for his father prevent him from having a relationship with his new baby sister or brother?

At a table with Martin and Laura, Charlotte asks if Laura knows where her papa is. Laura says, they know he’s safe because he sent them a message on Christmas, but Charlotte says, that’s not the same as knowing where he is, and what he’s doing. What if Grandfather Victor has done something to make him disappear, and they never see him again?

Lucy is released, and Gavin says, let’s go. Renee wonders, what’s this? It was in Anna’s bag. She holds what looks like a tube of some kind, as Anna presses a button she’s had hidden in her sleeve. They hear an explosion, and Anna says, that would be the something-or-other she attached to the watermain. In about one minute, this whole chamber is going to be flooded. Valentin says, Anna was onto Renee from the very beginning, and Anna says, Renee changed her appearance when she left their hotel room, so she had to figure maybe Renee was more than just a cataphile. Valentin says, and he does everything Anna says. Anna and Valentin jump up, and Valentin takes care of Gavin and Jean-Claude. Anna punches Renee, knocking her out, and says she hopes Renee can swim or breathe under water.

Carly knocks at the gatehouse door, and Drew opens it.

Spencer tells Trina, of course (🍷) he’s not going to turn his back on his sibling, but his father is toxic, and he needs to make sure he doesn’t get the chance to hurt his sibling and treat them the way he treated Spencer. The best thing to do would be ensure his father doesn’t get to raise the child. She says, obviously that would be best, but Esme’s not much of an improvement. Besides, Esme’s facing criminal charges, and may be sent to prison. So his father may not be the best option, but he’s the only option. Spencer says, not necessarily. What about him?

Laura says, one thing she knows about Charlotte’s father is he would move heaven and earth to get back to her. Martin says, and the rest of them will be here for her until he does. Charlotte thanks them, and Laura says, it’s her turn to wash her hands. She’ll be right back.

Laura walks over to Victor, and says, leave Charlotte alone. He says, she can try to turn his family against him, but she won’t succeed. Charlotte will come around, if she ever wants to see her father again.

Valentin, Anna, and Lucy run out of the catacombs, coughing and gasping for air. Valentin says he doesn’t think Anna has ever been more beautiful than when she punched Renee in the mouth, and Anna says, he’s so romantic. She asks if Lucy is all right, but Lucy says she doesn’t know. Thank God for Anna, or she would have ended up like Renee and those guards. She’s not going to miss them, but seeing their dead bodies is not a sight she can get out of her mind. Anna says, it’s tragic, but it was Lucy or them. Valentin says, they’ve got to move, but Lucy says she doesn’t want to go yet. Do they have a phone that’s still working? She needs to call Marty. Anna says, she can’t, and Lucy asks, why not? Valentin says, because as far as the rest of the world knows, they’re all dead, and Anna says, and we have to stay that way.

Tomorrow, Sasha tells Nina to show up for Willow the way she showed up for her; Selina tells Gladys, it’s time to cover her debts; and Carly asks Drew where they stand.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Brook wakes up, and Chase is already up. He says he wanted to let her sleep in, and she asks why she’d want to when she could spend her morning with him. He gets back in bed, and they kiss.

On the phone at the hospital, Britt says, if an inmate needs treatment, bring her in. Just make sure she has a guard and orderly with her at all times. TJ asks for a private word, and they go where there are no people. She asks, what’s on his mind? and he says he hasn’t heard from Willow in several days. He’s starting to get concerned.

In the nook, Willow says, her one and only cup of coffee for the day, and Michael says he loves how conscientious she’s being with this pregnancy. He can’t believe it’s time for her second trimester check-up. She says she almost felt like they woudn’t get here, and he says, here’s hoping they get wonderful news today. She says, there’s a lot she wants to share with him today, when Ned comes in, saying, Michael saved him a phone call. Valentin has been missing in action for several days, so ELQ is still without it’s CEO. Is that something Michael orchestrated, or was it Drew?

Drew and Carly kiss in her kitchen, and she says, they’re back. She thanks him for helping her, and he thanks her for letting him help. He kisses her again, and I look desperately for the moss bowl 🎍, since I’m bored. He asks if she’s ready to hear some I told you so’s from their friends, and she says, all the people who said they saw sparks between them? No. She wants to hold off on telling anyone. She kind of likes having him all to herself.

Before Josslyn leaves, she asks Cameron if he’s sure Jake and Aiden don’t know she spent the night. He says, they were asleep when she got here, and left early for some pre-school activities, so he thinks they’re good. And she’s perfect. He kisses her, and says he knows this last year was rough for them, but he’s glad they’re finding their footing again… unless he’s going too fast. She says, not at all. She just remembered it’s Oscar’s birthday. He says he understands, and they walk out on the porch to find Finn.

Sitting alone in Terry’s car, Elizabeth remembers when she was a teenager, saying, she hates her family and hates everyone. Terry gets in the car, and says, Elizabeth’s mom and dad were shocked to hear from her, and more shocked to find out she was in town. Elizabeth asks if they’re going to meet with Terry, and Terry says, yes. She asks if everything is okay, and Elizabeth says, they’re at her parents’ house. She hasn’t been anywhere near them in decades. Terry says, it’s okay if she wants to go back, but Elizabeth says, no. She needs to find out the truth about what happened, once and for all.

As Brook gets dressed, she wonders why it can’t be the weekend. She and Chase could just stay in bed, and never leave this room. Still in bed, Chase says, that would be absolutely fine with him, but she’s the one who said they have to prep to meet Linc’s big pop star. Although he’d be happy to push that. She says, not on his life, but there’s no reason they can’t prep for the meeting in here. She goes to the door, and he asks where she’s going. She says, to get them some coffee and pastries. Don’t bother getting dressed.

Michael says, Valentin is a Cassadine, and they tend to go missing under murky circumstances, so what exactly does Ned think he did to Valentin? Olivia walks in with some pastries, and Ned says, called immigration; had him stopped at customs. Just like his dad did to Jax. Michael says he’s nothing like his father, but Ned says, he and Sonny are exactly alike, and Olivia says, that’s enough. Willow asks where she’s going, and Olivia says, to get reinforcements. She leaves, and Willow says, come on. It’s a big day for her and the baby. Can they focus on that?

Drew leaves, Bobbie comes in, and I see the glorious moss bowl 🎍, so all is right with the world. Bobbie asks, who was at the door? and Carly says, Drew. Bobbie says she didn’t realize they were flying back this morning, and Carly says, now that everything is reconciled with Virginia, she can focus on her family here. Bobbie says she thinks it’s really beautiful what Carly did for Virginia; scattering her ashes by the ocean. Carly says, it felt right. Bobbie coming to Jacksonville meant a lot. She knows it couldn’t have been east with that local station dredging up her past with Aunt Ruby. Bobbie says, she knows who she is, and owns her past, even the unsavory parts. She was more concerned about it being weaponized against Carly, but when she got to Jacksonville, she realized Carly already had all the support she needed with Drew.

Finn apologizes to Cameron for stopping by unannounced, but he was on his way to the hospital, and thought he’d stop by to check in. How are Aiden and Jake? Cameron says, they left already; they had some stuff to do before school. His mom asked Finn to check on them, didn’t she? Finn says, maybe. Got any proof? Josslyn says she’s going to go. She tells Cameron she’ll see him on campus, and tells Finn, it’s good to see him. She leaves, and Cameron invites Finn inside. He says, Josslyn just stopped by to drop off some books he needed before class, and Finn says, that’s his story, and he’s sticking to it? Cameron says, yeah, and Finn says, Cameron is a sophomore in college. He gets the plot. Joss spent the night here, didn’t she? Cameron says, maybe. Got any proof?

Terry says she thinks Jeff and Carolyn are going to have as many questions for her as she does for them. The coffee shop they agreed to is just around the corner, so they can’t count on traffic delays. She’ll stall them as long as possible. Is Elizabeth sure she knows her parents’ alarm code? Elizabeth says, they’ll see, but they never changed it when she was growing up, and Terry asks what she’s looking for, but Elizabeth isn’t sure. She thinks it’s one of those she’ll know it when she sees it kind of things. Both of her parents kept diaries of their years abroad. She’s just hoping it’s enough to help her connect the dots. Like how they all knew Reiko, who turned out to be Finn’s first wife. How could she have forgotten? Terry says, Elizabeth has been raising three boys, mostly by herself, along with a full-time career as a nurse. It makes sense to her why Elizabeth forgot the connection. Elizabeth says, they’re literally sitting in front of her parents’ house. There’s no way she can turn back now.

Out of the shower, Chase loses his towel and gets back in bed, striking a sexy pose. Olivia walks in, covers her eyes, blesses herself, then covers her eyes again.

Ned says, the merger was nothing more than an excuse to marginalize him, and Michael says, they offered Ned the job of COO; that’s hardly marginal. He asks if Brook can weigh in here, because her dad is going in circles. She says, just pretend she’s not here. She’s just getting a little breakfast to go. Ned asks why she’s holding two cups of coffee, when Olivia walks in, saying, it’s her bad, Chase following. She tells him, please forget she saw anything, and he says, he’s so sorry she saw anything. He thought she was – he sees everyone looking at them – Brook Lynn. Ned asks, what’s going on? and Olivia says she was looking for Brook and forgot to knock, and walked in on Chase. Ned says, in a guest room, and Brook says she and Chase spent the night together.

Bobbie says, now that they have their coffee, back to Drew, and Carly says, she didn’t ask Drew to come to Florida; he showed up on his own. And it turns out, he was exactly the friend she needed. Bobbie says, so Carly is telling her that he’s just a friend? and Carly asks what’s going on with Bobbie’s wrist here? Bobbie says, it’s nothing serious. She was on her laptop on the plane, and her carpal tunnel’s been acting up. Carly massages Bobbie’s wrist, and asks how it feels. Bobbie says, better, thanks, and Carly says she still remembers some of her physical therapy training. Now that she’s starting over, she could renew her PT license, or finish her nursing degree. Bobbie says, that’s a very different path than running a luxury hotel, and Carly says, maybe not nursing school, but physical therapy can be fun. At least until she figures out her next passion project. Bobbie says she’s sure it won’t be long before Carly finds her next inspiration.

Drew goes to the rock in Oscar’s Meadow, and says he got back just in time for Oscar’s birthday. He didn’t want Oscar to think he’d forgotten. Oscar still inspires him. When things were bleak and so hopeless, he would just think that Oscar never gave up – never – and neither should he. On those bad days, he would close his eyes, and visualize Oscar’s face; his and Scout’s. And that’s the only way he survived, and managed to see the light again, even if it shines more dimly in a world without him in it. Josslyn arrives with flowers, and hugs Drew.

Britt says, Willow is TJ’s friend, but not his patient, and TJ says, but he’s been staying in regular touch with Willow about her condition. Unofficially, of course (🍷). He knows Willow is in her second trimester, and from what he understands, that’s what she was waiting for before starting her leukemia treatment. Britt asks what he’s looking for from her, and he says he noticed Willow had an appointment this morning. He was hoping he could sit in on a consult. She says, Willow does have an appointment with her this morning about her pregnancy. If Willow wants him to be there for moral support, it’s Willow’s choice, but let her be very clear. He would be there as Willow’s friend only. He says, yes, but, and she tells him, there are no yes, buts. She knows it’s a very difficult situation. On their best days as doctors, they provide a binary option of right and wrong, but on other days, the patient is left with an option of doing the least harm. And what they might think is the most palatable outcome, won’t be the same for every patient. It might not even be the same course they’d use for themselves or advise for their loved ones. It’s what’s right for that patient. And as doctors, they might not always agree, but they must respect the patient’s choices.

Elizabeth says, it’s been so long, she can’t remember the last time she saw her parents in person, and Terry asks, how long has it been again? Elizabeth says, over 20 years, and Terry asks why Elizabeth never told her that she was hurting. Elizabeth says, how do you explain your parents put the greater good over their own children? and Terry says, she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. Elizabeth says, not to the world, but she owes one to herself. There are way more secrets being kept from her than she realizes. She thanks Terry for helping her, for coming all this way, and giving her the space to process it all, and Terry says, sometimes all a person needs is a little space and grace. She’s got Elizabeth. Terry’s phone dings, and she says, it’s Jeff and Carolyn. They’re at the coffee shop. Elizabeth says, this is it.

Josslyn says she didn’t know Drew was back in town, and he says, he and her mom just landed a couple hours ago; he just dropped her off at the house. He knows she’d love to see Josslyn. She says she hopes she didn’t interrupt his visit, but he says, no. He and Oscar just had a nice little chat, and he was on his way out. He’ll give her some privacy. He starts to leave, then says, his son’s life was cut way too short, but it was rich and full of meaning because she was in it. He thanks her for that, and leaves.

Bobbie says she’s always admired Carly’s resilience, her fierce spirit, and especially her tenacity. Carly says, even on days Bobbie wanted to kill her? and Bobbie says, it’s not always easy being Carly’s mother. That’s something she and Virginia Benson both understood. Still, she knows it won’t be long before Carly discovers her next chapter, and she can’t wait to read it.

Chase says, this is beyond embarrassing, and Brook says, now every woman in this house has seen her boyfriend naked. Olivia laughs nervously, and says, she doesn’t think Monica has, and it’s her house. Chase says, Alan gave it to her, and I die laughing. I love an ongoing soap joke. Michael tells Chase, it sounds like he’s going to fit in fine here, and suggests they go outside. On the patio, he tells Chase, welcome to your latest super awkward Quartermaine family moment. He’s sure Chase had plenty of those while pretending to be Bailey’s father. Michael’s phone rings, and he says, it’s Aurora. He has to take this. He steps away, and Chase tells Willow, he’s sorry. He didn’t mean to make things weird. She says, no. She’s happy for him; for him and Brook both. She kisses his cheek, and he says he hopes she knows how happy he is for her and Michael. Olivia comes out, and says, that felt like a father/daughter moment. What happened to Michael?

Brook tells Ned not to get patriarchal on her. If he has issues with this going on under the same roof, there’s nothing preventing him from moving out. He says he’s sorry if he made her feel like she needed to sneak around. Did she feel that way because of his reaction to her and Valentin? She says, Ned sure had an about-face on Valentin.

Willow says, Michael had to take a work call, and Olivia asks if Willow doesn’t have a doctor’s appointment. She’ll drive Willow over, and Michael can meet them there. Text him their plan. She goes back in, and Chase says, before she goes, maybe he can be Uncle Chase to her new little one. Put in a good word for him.

Terry says she’ll stall them for as long as she can, and Elizabeth thanks her. They hug, and Terry asks if Elizabeth is sure she knows how to pick her front door lock. Elizabeth says, it’s been a while, but she used to be good at it. If she remembers, she taught Terry that skill in high school. Terry says, Elizabeth was a bad influence on her back then, but she hasn’t been that girl for a very long time. Does she think she still has it in her? Elizabeth flashes back to when she was a bad girl and smoking cigarettes, and says, she better be. She gets out of the car.

Cameron says, Finn was right before. It’s actually none of his business. Finn tells him, relax. He’s not here to give Cameron the talk; clearly, he knows the drill. And it’s not his place to tell Cameron’s mom either. Although Cameron might want to come clean at some point. Cameron says, Finn is probably right. He can’t imagine his mom is going to be in the best headspace when she comes back. Finn says he thinks she’ll be more relaxed after enjoying the spa and hotel, and Cameron says, maybe, but it might not be easy spending time in the city where Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Carolyn live. Finn says, what? and Cameron says, Finn didn’t know, did he?

Willow checks in with Britt, who says, Dr. Ashford asked to sit in on their check-up if she’s comfortable with that. Willow says, of course (🍷). TJ is her friend, and she knows he’s still deciding on a specialty. Britt says, let’s go to an exam room, and Olivia asks if Willow wants her to stick around. Willow says, it’s sweet of her to offer, but no.

Ned says he can see Brook is still upset with him about siding with Valentin against Michael and Drew, and she says, sometimes it feels like it was all for nothing. He says he doesn’t want her to ever feel that way, and she says, she also learned there’s a different side to Valentin, when they were raising Bailey together. It really proved the point to her that none of us are all good or all bad. He says he appreciates her saying that, when Drew comes in. He says he’s sorry; he didn’t mean to interrupt. Brook says, she and her father were just having a moment of understanding, but she has to grab Chase and get to work. She leaves, and Ned says, the staff expected Drew back a few hours ago. Drew says, it’s Oscar’s birthday today, so he stopped by Oscar’s marker in the Meadow. Ned says, of course (🍷). He’s sorry. He didn’t remember the date. Drew says he hasn’t forgotten how incredible Ned and Olivia were to Oscar in his final days. So for Oscar’s sake, can they find a way to put aside their differences and fix what’s broken in this family?

Cameron can’t believe his mom didn’t tell Finn that she was going to be staying in the same town her parents live in. Did he just cause trouble for them? Finn says, not at all. There’s no need to make a big deal out of this. Cameron says, it’s probably nothing, but what are the odds she’s seeking out her parents after all these years? Finn says, he doesn’t know; he wishes he did. He’s been trying to help where he can, but he doesn’t want Cameron’s mom to resent him. To be honest, sometimes he knows what he’s doing, and other times, he doesn’t get it. Cameron says he thinks he does. He and his mother struggle with a lot of the same baggage. The people they care about tend to underestimate their family and what they’re capable of handling.

Josslyn puts the flowers on Oscar’s rock, and says, she knows it’s been a while since she visited, but she carries Oscar in her heart every day. If he’s been checking in, then he knows she and Cam are together. Although with all of the recent drama they’ve been a part of kind of threw them off. Things haven’t been the same since their first time went viral on the internet. Since then, she feels like she’s in this current. Not a riptide; nothing scary. She just feels herself drifting further away from Cam. She knows she should tell him that, and they should talk through it, but if she does… She’s just so scared he won’t be able to handle it.

Cameron tells Finn, people tend to confuse their manners with being weak, fragile even. His mom isn’t weak, and when Finn tries to fix her problems, or make decisions for her because he thinks she’s a victim, it takes her back to a time in her life when she did feel powerless. And trust him. She doesn’t want to go back there again, even if that means shutting things and people out. He knows Finn’s heart is in the right place, but she doesn’t need a hero. She’s already her own hero. Finn thanks him, says, good talk, and leaves.

Elizabeth gets into the house. She hears the alarm beeping, and puts in the code. It stops.

Carly says she’s been doing a lot of thinking lately, and she and Bobbie have come a long way. Bobbie had every reason to hate her forever, yet Bobbie still found a way to forgive her, and made a place in life for Carly. She’s always heard the stories about Bobbie’s upbringing, and going back to Jacksonville, and hearing again about Ruby and her house of ill repute, she was reminded that Bobbie started off with even less than she did. Bobbie made a name for herself, and Carly admires her so much. Bobbie says, first of all, Carly needs to visit Jacksonville more often. Secondly, right back at her. Carly says she told Drew that she felt like she was in an identity crisis, literally. She was no longer Sonny’s wife, and no longer the co-owner of the MetroCourt. Who is she anymore? But sitting here with her mom, she’s more sure of who she is than ever.

Michael walks in, as Drew tells Ned, maybe they can schedule another vote on Valentin’s leadership. What they need is for Ned’s vote to switch. Then Valentin is out. Ned says, what about the role of CEO? and Michael tells Drew, forget it. Ned’s too far gone to think of family over himself. Ned says, that’s rich. Biologically, Michael is AJ’s son, but whose last name does he use? Corinthos. He’s only a Quartermaine when it’s convenient. Drew says, there’s no reason for things to get escalated here, and Ned says, and Drew. His insistence on being the nice guy is really starting to wear thin. Drew says, Ned is tired of him being a nice guy? Fine. The gloves are off, and Ned’s not going to like the moves he makes to get Ned and Valentin out. Ned asks how Drew plans to do that when he’s fighting an insider trading charge.

Carly tells Bobbie, part of the reason she felt so lost is because her name didn’t provide any answers for her. She can’t be Carly Corinthos anymore because she doesn’t want people thinking her goal is to get back with Sonny, because it’s not. She can’t be Carly Benson or Carly Roberts because… she just can’t. Bobbie asks, what’s left? and Carly says, sitting here with Bobbie, looking into her eyes, she knows what the right answer is. She’s a Spencer. She thinks it’s time she took Bobbie’s name, if it’s okay with her. Bobbie says, it’s more than okay, it’s as it should be, and they hug.

Britt says, everything looks good with the baby. Developmentally, they’re right on track. Willow says, that’s good news, right? She asks Britt, what is it? and Britt says she’s feeling Willow’s lymph nodes, as she places her hands on Willow’s neck. Willow asks, why? and Britt says, oncology isn’t her specialty, but she noticed certain areas of the surrounding tissue appear inflamed. Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with that baby, but she wants to be extra cautious given Willow’s other health concerns. Dr. Randolph is away for a few days, but Britt’s going to give her a call. Hang tight. She leaves, and Willow asks TJ what Britt is concerned about.

On the phone, Terry tells Britt, she’s kind of in the middle of something with some family friends. What’s up? Britt says, she just did an ultrasound on Willow, and the baby is fine, but she noticed inflamed  tissue nearby, and swelling in the lymph nodes. Terry says, Britt is worried about the enlargement of Willow’s liver, isn’t she? and Britt says she is, but Terry’s the expert. Terry says, have Dr. Carmichael do her bloodwork, and schedule and ultrasound on her liver. She should be back by the time the results are in. Britt thanks her, and Terry looks around for Jeff and Carolyn, but they’re gone.

Elizabeth sees family pictures on the mantel, and remembers her angst when she was younger from her parents being absent, and being expected to be like her sister Sarah. She remembers things she said about her parents as an adult, how the world needs them more than the family does. She focuses on a particular picture, and says, her and Sarah, 25 years ago.

Finn runs into Olivia at the hospital, and says, if she talks to Tracy, tell her that he’s waiting. She hasn’t made a move in their virtual backgammon game in weeks. Olivia says she’s not surprised. You’d never know Tracy is retired. She still keeps getting into all kinds of trouble. She puts her hand to her forehead, and he asks if she’s okay. She says, it’s so weird. Does he ever get the feeling like someone walked over his grave? The inmate is brought in, a woman in shackles, between an officer and an orderly, and she says, hello, Olivia. Olivia turns around, and lets out a blood-curdling scream.

Brook listens at the door, and Drew asks what Ned is talking about. Ned says, it’s right there in the name; insider trading. Brook steps away, telling Chase that she thinks talking’s a lost cause. Chase says he knows something to perk her up, and kisses her. Her phone dings, and he says, go ahead. She says, it’s Linc. He wants them to meet with his pop star today. Chase says, it’s so soon, but she says he has to get to know her if they’re doing a duet. He says he’s never met a pop star; any advice? She says, don’t mess this up for them.

Bobbie says, Carly Spencer has a nice ring to it, and Carly says, it really does. Josslyn walks in, and hugs Carly, saying, you’re home. Carly puts her arms around both of them, and says, I’m home.

Ned tells Drew, Michael’s mother knew about the potential merger. That’s why she bought the stock. That’s called insider trading, and it’s illegal. Martha Stewart went to prison for much less. Lucky for Michael and Drew, no one’s really looked into it, but it’s something they need to consider, and never forget. He walks out, and Michael says, Ned is bluffing; he wouldn’t go there. He has to meet Willow, but he can see Drew is worried. Don’t be.

TJ says, if she noticed inflamed tissue, Dr. Westbourne might be concerned that Willow’s liver is enlarged as well. Willow says, and that means? and TJ says, if her liver and lymph nodes are swollen, and her blood cell count has dropped even further, it may mean she’s advanced to stage 3, which may limit her treatment options. Britt says, she’d like Willow to come with her upstairs. They’d like to run some more tests.

Finn asks Olivia, what’s all this? Is she okay? The woman says, now there’s the scream she loves so much. And here she thought Olivia had gotten too classy to let her emotions out. After Olivia let her son rot in prison, and traded up to marry a Quartermaine. The officer says, sorry, ma’am. D’Archam patient. Don’t pay her any attention. The woman says, nice seeing you. Oops. I mean, I’ll be seeing you. She laughs as she’s led away, and Finn says, what’s going on? Who is that woman? Olivia says, doesn’t he know? That’s Heather Webber.

Elizabeth hugs the photo to her chest, and hears the door. She quickly puts it back, and Jeff comes in. He says, Elizabeth, and she says, dad.

On Monday, Anna says, as soon as she gets out of this cell, she’ll put Victor in his; Robert tells Olivia, she looks like she’s seen a ghost; and Elizabeth says, Jeff’s not supposed to be here.

💣 Wrong Guess Of Jacksonville…

I have to admit, I’m surprised. Not that I can’t see her in the role, but what happened to the old Heather?

🗽 No Surprise…

Wasn’t asked back, was she?

💋 It Will Never End…

This one just needs to go, be put on pause, however you want to put it.

💎 The Other F-Word…

I could have sworn it was the c-word, but in my defense, it was bleeped and I’m no lip reader. Ugly for sure, but it doesn’t make Kathy wrong about Erika and LisaR looking for a storyline.

I doubt this will be rebooted, but if it is, I doubt any previous cast members will be invited back. Although I did love Kameron’s stick figure graphics of the ping-pong ball show in Thailand.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Brook tells Chase, she’s been thinking, and he says he’s been thinking too. Now he’s thinking they should go somewhere and talk about what they’re thinking. She says she was about to suggest the same thing; let’s go. Linc walks in, and says, not without him. He has something to say too. And it won’t wait. She says, look who escaped from the me-too movement. He says, that’s water under the bridge, and she says, too bad he didn’t drown in it. Chase says, he remembers Linc. He’s Brook’s sleazy ex music producer. What does he want? Brook says, who cares? He doesn’t have a hold over her, so buh-bye. Chase says, Linc heard her; beat it. Linc says, not just yet. He may not be Brook’s music producer, but they still have unfinished business.

Curtis knocks on Portia’s office door, and says, penny for her thoughts. She throws her arms around him, and says she’s so glad he’s here.

TJ and Molly sit down in a restaurant/bar, and TJ says, now they wait for Mr. Purdy. She says, pretty impressive detective work, using that receipt in the clarinet case to hunt down the music shop and the owner. He says, Marshall was particular about his instruments; it makes sense that this repair shop was his go-to. She says, which means, Marshall spends a lot of time in Brooklyn, and maybe has a place here. TJ says, Mr. Purdy seemed tight-lipped when he spoke to him on the phone. He wouldn’t even let TJ come by; he kept saying the store was closed until TJ promised to buy him dinner. Hopefully, he actually shows up and gives them information about Marshall.

Brando looks at Sonny’s car and whistles, saying, it’s a beauty. What kind of trouble is it giving him? Sonny says, first of all, he apologizes for pulling Brando out of dinner. He didn’t know Brando was having dinner with Sasha and Gladys. Brando says, they understood. Besides, Sasha will bring something home for him. Sonny says, he knows, but family is important, and Brando says, Sonny is family too.

Gladys says, the pills are what Sasha wants, according to that vulture. It’s the real reason she agreed to give back the memory card. Sasha says she doesn’t know what Gladys is talking about. She’s saying she got those from the paparazzo? Gladys says she did, in exchange for the memory card she took out of his camera the night of the accident. Sasha says she doesn’t understand… and Gladys says, drop the act. She knows the truth. Sasha is back on drugs.

Chase asks what business Linc could possibly have with Brook, and Brook says, none. Linc is all talk and smarm. Linc says he seems to remember when Brook liked a little smarm, but she says, he remembers wrong. She never liked his attention. He was gross then, and he’s gross now. Chase says it’s time for Linc to go, and Linc says, is this the boyfriend? Brook says, yes, and he’s a cop. Does Linc really want to press his luck? Linc says he thought Chase was a singer. He has a pretty good voice. Chase says he doesn’t care what Linc thinks about his voice, and Linc says, he recognizes that song; it’s a good tune. He knew it when she cut the demo. He just can’t wait to give it the production it deserves. Brook says, dream on. She’ll never work with him again. He says, she may never sing with him again, but he owns her songs. They belong to him.

Sasha reaches for the pills, but Gladys snatches them first. Sasha says, she’s not on drugs again, and Gladys says, Sasha just can’t keep her hands off them? She wasn’t born yesterday. Sasha says, she’s the Face of Deception. People could jump to the wrong conclusion if they saw them. Gladys says, admitting she had a problem wouldn’t be wrong, and Sasha says she can’t believe Gladys is doing this now. She’s the one who’s always worried about Deception’s stock. Doesn’t she think this could be bad publicity? Gladys says, Sasha’s health is more important than her image. She’s not talking to the Face now; she’s talking to her daughter-in-law. Sasha says she’s not talking about this at all, and gets up. Gladys says, if Sasha won’t talk to her, she’ll just have to go straight to Brando.

Brando opens the hood of Sonny’s car and says, he can see why this baby is one of Sonny’s favorites. They do not make cars like this anymore. Nowadays, they’re computerized. Sonny says, refrigerators, stoves, washing machines, you name it, and Brando says he’s so glad he learned about cars without all those microchips and diagnostics on a tablet. It’s not as much fun as getting under the hood and rooting around, finding out what’s wrong. Sonny asks if Brando has always loved cars, and Brando says, ever since he was a kid. Did he ever tell Sonny that Mike was the first one to teach him about engines? Sonny says, he didn’t know his dad liked cars. He thought the only thing Mike was into was the ponies. Brando says, Mike was definitely into those, but he knew how to keep a car running. Basic automotive maintenance, but it was enough to get him started on his love for cars; pretty much anything with an engine. Sonny says he would have loved to work on cars with his dad when he was young, and Brando says, sorry he brought it up. Sonny says, no. At least Brando has the time they shared instead of him. Sometimes fathers and sons just don’t connect.

TJ tells Molly, he’ll leave a tip, but they’re getting out of here. He dragged her to Brooklyn, the least they can do is enjoy a fine dining establishment. She says she’s liking Brooklyn, when a man approaches, and says, TJ Ashford? TJ says, yes, sir. This is his life partner Molly, and he’s Mr. Purdy? Purdy shakes TJ’s hand, and says, in the flesh. Molly thanks him for coming, and asks him to join them. Purdy sits, and asks if dinner is still on TJ. TJ says, you bet, and Purdy says, even though he can’t help TJ? As he told TJ on the phone, what TJ told him ain’t ringing any bells. TJ says, that’s why he wanted to meet Purdy in person. He’s hoping Purdy remembers this. He puts Marshall’s clarinet case on the table, and opens it. Purdy says, he remembers this clarinet, and takes out a piece. He says, the bridge key was stuck. He fixed it right up. TJ asks if he can get in touch with the owner, but Purdy says, nope. He doesn’t know the guy. He calls over to Carmen behind the bar, and says, a meatloaf special and coffee. She knows how he takes it.

Curtis asks Portia, what’s wrong? What happened? She says, Trina got the report back from the PCU Title IX coordinator. He says, was it bad? and she starts to cry. He shuts the door, and she says, it looks like they have another fight on their hands. Joss and Cam’s statement saying they didn’t believe Trina was behind the video, made absolutely no difference. The report is citing circumstantial evidence against Trina, and he knows exactly what that means. She’s so worried. He takes her hands, and says, the fight is not over. They will get Trina through it. She says she’s so glad he’s here; he came at just the right time. Why is he here anyway? He said, she told him that she was probably going to stop by here on the way home, and he knew she’d probably get caught up in something. He needs to talk to her. She says, what about? and he says, to tell her he’s leaving. She asks what he means, and he says, actually, he decided to go find his father, but he can’t leave her and Trina in light of this Title IX report. She says, he’s so thoughtful and supportive, and he says, if there’s a challenge this family has, he’s in it with her. She says, and she’s grateful to him for that, but there must have been something that motivated him to decide to look for Marshall. He was pretty ambivalent about that. What’s going on? Did Marshall contact him? He says, no, and she says, Stella gave him some information about Marshall, didn’t she? What was it? He says, turns out, Marshall’s not the only one who’s been lying to him.

Brando says he has another car on the lift in the garage, so he’ll see what he can do with Sonny’s car out here. It might take a little time. He hopes Sonny doesn’t mind hanging out for a while. Sonny says he’s got time, and Brando asks, what’s been going on? Sonny says, he knows old cars have issues, but it’s the starter or the wiring, and Brando asks when Sonny first started noticing a problem. Sonny says, a couple days ago. Then today, it started misfiring. Avery got all frantic because she was going to be late for her dance performance at the school fair. Brando asks if she made it, and Sonny laughs, saying, Avery was so cute. She knew her dance moves and everything. Then Olivia and Ned showed up; their son Leo had a performance. Brando says, it must have been something. He’s sorry he missed it. It’s important to have family cheering you on. Sonny says, then Michael and Willow showed up, and Brando asks, how was that? Sonny mentioned he and Michael were having some trouble before. Is it still rough between them? Sonny tells him, you could say that.

Brook asks what Linc is talking about. He doesn’t own her music. He so much as whistles her songs, and she’ll sue him for everything he’s worth. Linc says he remembers loving that song when she cut the demo. He knew it needed work and production flair, but he let her do it the way she wanted, because he knew he was the one who would take it over the top. Brook says, he would have turned it into an electro-pop nightmare, which thank God didn’t happen, because he no longer owns any rights to her music. Linc tells her to check her old contract. Anything she wrote while he was her producer belongs to him. She says, that can’t be true. He doesn’t even make any sense. What would he want with a song from years ago that never even made it off the demo? Linc says, don’t be so modest. He can give credit where credit is due. A few of her songs are quite good. He’s been shopping them around to some mean talent. There’s been some interest, and he’s supposed to make her some deals. She says, really? Who? He says, sign with him, and she’ll find out.

From behind the wheel, Sonny says, see how it skips like that? and Brando asks Sonny to change places with him. As they switch, Brando says he’s sorry Sonny and Michael aren’t getting along, and Sonny says, it is what it is. Michael knows where to find him if he wants to apologize. Brando says, the wires are intact and the starter’s fine. It’s been idling rough? Slow acceleration? Sonny says he’s filling it up a lot more, and Brando says, sounds about right. It’s been misfiring… He thinks it’s… Sonny says, spark plugs, and laughs. Brando says, A-plus. What did Sonny need him for? So is Sonny ready to get his hands dirty? Sonny says, it won’t be the first time.

Gladys and Sasha go into Sasha’s office, and Sasha says, she appreciates the discretion, but this whole situation is insane. What did that Felty guy say to her? Gladys says, he told her that they reached an agreement; the memory card for a fresh supply of uppers. Sasha says, that’s not true. Her history of drug use is no secret, and he is using it. He imagined she’d jump at the opportunity of pills to convince her to return his memory card, but he was wrong. She never agreed to a trade. Gladys says, then why give back the memory card at all? and Sasha says, because it’s his rightful property. Gladys is the one who stole it in the first place; Sasha was protecting her. Gladys says, really? Because Sasha seemed pretty relieved that she’d taken it. Sasha says, because she didn’t want Felty to profit from harassing her; to use photos of her in an unguarded moment as clickbait or to sell papers. Gladys saw how aggressive he was. Sasha can’t believe Gladys would take that jerk’s word over hers. Gladys tells her, stop with the act. She saw the photos from the memory card – all of them.

Portia tells Curtis that she’s having a hard time wrapping her head around this. So Stella’s been sitting on the truth the whole time. She’s known Marshall was alive. He says, Stella and his mother. Marshall and his mother thought it was best if they believed Marshall was dead. She asks, why? and he says, Stella wouldn’t say. She told him it wasn’t her place. Portia says she’s sorry. This must be so upsetting and hurtful. She thinks Stella was probably only doing what she thought was best. He says he can’t believe Stella would lie to him, and Portia says she thinks Stella and his mom were probably trying to protect him from something painful that he was too young to understand. Then when his mother fell ill, Stella probably felt he’d been through enough. He says, what about when he got older? and she says, Stella probably thought by then it was too late to set things right. Never dreaming Marshall would come back in his life. The grieving had been done, so why not leave it at that? Or maybe she wanted to convince herself it was kinder to do so. He says, maybe, and she says, hasn’t he let something he regretted go on for so long, he didn’t know where to begin to make things right? He asks if she’s saying he’s doing it with Marshall, and she says, in his case, she’s saying it’s not too late. He says, Aunt Stella told him that he should ask Marshall the truth, which is all he’s ever done. But maybe now that he knows Marshall more, he’ll open up more. She says, he should go find Marshall, but he says he can’t leave her and Trina with the whole Title IX thing. She tells him, the hearing isn’t for another ten days; go find Marshall, then come back home. He says he doesn’t even know where to get started, when Jordan knocks at the door. She says she’s if she’s interrupting, and Portia asks, what brings her by? Jordan says she was checking on the status of an officer, but she’s glad to run into Curtis. Has he spoken to TJ? Curtis says, about what? and Jordan says, he and Molly went to Brooklyn. They think Marshall might be there.

Purdy says, Molly and TJ aren’t eating? and TJ says, not until they get some answers. Purdy says he’s already told them all he can. He doesn’t know the guy they’re looking for. Molly says, but he recognizes the clarinet? and Purdy says, he knows instruments, not people. He’s got a lot of customers. TJ says, it’s very important they find this man. He’s not in any trouble. Molly says, his name is Marshall Ashford, but TJ says, he could be using another name. Purdy says, they’re not sure about the man’s name? and TJ says, his grandfather uses several stage names. Purdy says, the guy who owns the clarinet doesn’t have a family, and Molly says, the guy Purdy claims not to know? TJ says, his grandfather has fallen out of touch with his family. It’s very important they find him. Please. Marshall has always bene a loner, and just reconnected with their family. He left after they had a disagreement. All they want him to know is that his family wants him home. Please, will he help them?

Chase says, Brook’s not buying what this guy’s selling, is she? She said herself, he’s all talk. Linc says, believe him, he’s not, but he’ll be the one busy raking in the money. Brook says, on her songs, and Linc says, maybe if they work together, they can come up with some arrangement. Chase says, not going to happen, and tells Brook, let’s go. She says, she’s so out of here, and tells Linc, just for the record, nothing could ever entice her to work with him again. Linc says, why hold a grudge when they both stand to gain from moving on? He admits it; he underestimated her talent. He should have recognized her potential as a songwriter. Come to his room, and they’ll explore more of that potential. Chase tells him to watch himself, but Linc says he was just picking up what Brook is putting out there. Chase says, the hell he was, and moves forward, but Brook steps in and punches Linc in the face.

TJ asks where Purdy supposes his grandfather might be if he was in Brooklyn, and Purdy says, Brooklyn is a pretty big borough. How did TJ wind up with this clarinet anyway? TJ says, his grandfather wanted him to have it. He also left this note. TJ shows the note to Purdy, who says, he never thought he’d see the day when Marshall would give up his licorice stick. TJ says, so Purdy admits he knows Marshall, and Purdy says, he goes by Marshall Parker in these parts. If he gave it to TJ, TJ must be pretty special to him. TJ says, so he’ll help them? and Molly says, it would mean the world to their family. Purdy says he hasn’t seen Marshall in a while, but he’ll ask around about him. Molly thanks him, and TJ gives Purdy his card, saying, his personal number is on the back; either he or Marshall can call him. Purdy says, so TJ is a doctor. He should have ordered dessert. TJ says, he still can, and Purdy says he’s not making any promises. He’ll deliver TJ’s message, but whether Marshall wants to get in touch is up to him. He yells to Carmen, one cherry pie to go.

Gladys says she saw the photos. She saw Sasha on the ground, on her hands and knees, picking up pills. Which is why Sasha got upset and tore out of the MetroCourt like that after being busted by that paparazzo. And it’s why Sasha was relieved when Gladys told her that she had the memory card. Sasha says she was grateful for how Gladys stepped up to protect her, and Gladys says, of course (🍷) she would. But she’s been wondering about this since she discovered the pictures. She has to ask. Was Sasha high when she hit Harmony? When she got behind the wheel of the car, was she hopped up on pills? Sasha says, absolutely not. She gets teary, and says, she admits she’s not proud of this, but she did need a little help getting through the stress of the IPO, and everything after Liam’s death. She felt eyes on her 24/7… pitying her… watching over her… waiting for her to crack. Judging her because she didn’t crack. She wanted to crawl into a hole, but at the same time being alone with her thoughts and feelings was terrifying. She had to keep moving. She had to push through the pain, and needed help to do it. Gladys says she gets it, but Sasha had the pills in her hand when she jumped behind the wheel of the car. Sasha says, pills she dropped. She didn’t take anything; she swears. She swears on her son. Gladys has to believe her. Gladys says she does, and hugs Sasha. She asks if Sasha’s pills were prescribed by a doctor, and Sasha shakes her head. Gladys says, Brando needs to know, but Sasha says, Brando has been through enough. Gladys says, he’ll want to help, and Sasha says she’s done with the drugs. It’s not an issue for her. Felty said he’d delete the incriminating photos of her, and just wanted his memory card back. Gladys says, they’re deleted; she made sure of that. Sasha says, thank God. Crisis averted. It’s over. Telling Brando now will only make him worry for no reason. Why won’t Gladys believe her? Gladys says, because she knows firsthand addiction doesn’t work like that.

Linc says, that’s some right hook, and Brook asks if he wants to meet the left one. He says, no; he got the message. She’s a tough negotiator. She says, she’s not negotiating; not now, not ever. Get out of her face. He says he likes it rough, but only to a point, and Chase suggests he leave now. Linc tells Brook, call him when she cools off. He leaves, and Chase asks why she did that. She says she deserves to be dumped, but he says, he’s not arguing with her; he wanted to punch Linc himself, but she beat him to it. She says, Linc’s her problem; she’ll handle it. He says, she doesn’t get it. He was looking forward to wiping the smirk off Linc’s face. She should have let him do it. She says, chivalry noted. As gratifying as it would have been to watch him punch Linc, but he would have gotten in trouble again for defending her honor. He’s almost off suspension. There’s no way in hell she’ll let blow it on her account.

TJ tells Molly, he knows Marshall tends to take off when things get difficult, but he’s hopeful that Marshall will still want to talk to him. Molly says, when Marshall sees the effort TJ put into this, how could he not? TJ’s phone rings, and it’s Curtis, who says, he hears TJ is in Brooklyn. Does he want company?

Sonny asks if this is how his dad taught Brando. It seems he’s getting a lesson after all. Sonny appreciates this. What they’re doing is family time; fathers passing down to sons. Brando says, that’s the way it was supposed to happen, and Sonny says he’s sorry. He believes one day Brando is going to have the same experience with his son, or maybe even a daughter. They laugh, and Brando asks when Sonny got so enlightened. He means it. He thinks Sonny and Michael are going to patch things up. Sonny says he doesn’t think so this time, and Brando says, that bad? Sonny says, Michael isn’t just angry. Michael is actively trying to take him down.

TJ says he thought Curtis might be angry at him for taking this on, but Curtis says he’s never been angry with TJ. They just didn’t see eye to eye on Marshall. TJ says, Curtis was determined not to go after Marshall; what changed his mind? Curtis says he didn’t want to see Marshall walk out of their lives again, and no matter how difficult it may be, it’s worth it. TJ says, he and Molly just met with someone who knows Marshall, but they haven’t had contact yet, and Curtis says he’s on his way.

Brando says, start her up, and Sonny says, purrs like a kitten. They laugh, and Sonny says, that was fun. Brando says, for him too. He knows he keeps bringing this up, but Michael is a pretty forgiving guy; he’ll come around. Sonny says, Michael is forgiving up to point. You push him, he’s relentless. Brando is surprised, and Sonny says, he’s not like his mother. He supposes a little bit of him. Brando says he’s still hoping for a reconciliation, and Sonny says, don’t worry about it; he’ll be all right. Brando says, he’s more hoping for Michael’s sake than Sonny’s. He shared how Mike was a big influence when he was growing up, but Sonny’s influence was just as meaningful. When Brando got to Port Charles, he didn’t know if he was going to stay; who or what he wanted to be. Now he has the garage, a beautiful wife, his mother is back in his life, and he has an extended family, all because of Sonny’s guidance and generosity. Brando wouldn’t be who he is without Sonny in his life, and it would be a shame if Michael didn’t have Sonny in his life.

Gladys says she’s not trying to shame Sasha; she’s trying to help her. And Brando. Has Sasha forgotten Brando’s history with addiction? Gladys worries that if Brando sees Sasha doing drugs, he might fall off the wagon too. Sasha says she’d never hurt Brando in a million years, and Gladys says she knows Sasha wouldn’t want to, but if she’s going to try and go this alone, making bad choices, she won’t be able to help it. Sasha promises she won’t, but Gladys says, Sasha can let Brando in; tell him what she’s going through. He will understand. Sasha says, Brando is the kindest most loving man she’s ever known. That’s why she doesn’t want to burden him further. Gladys says, it’s not a burden. Her son loves Sasha, and Sasha says, and she loves him, so much. She knows Brando. He’s so protective and so quick to take on other people’s problems. He’ll feel responsible for her. Brando is being strong, but she knows he’s hurting too. He needs to heal, and he won’t if he’s worrying about her relapsing. She promises she won’t. Gladys asks how Sasha knows that, and Sasha says, because Felty snapping those photos of her, scrabbling around on the ground like some pathetic junkie was a wake-up call. She realized just how much she has to lose. Not just Deception, but her future with Brando. She can’t let him down, or herself. Gladys says, and Sasha thinks she’s strong enough to get through this on her own, and Sasha says she knows she is. What more can she do to convince Gladys? Name it, and she’ll do it.

Chase says, Brook is right. As satisfying as it would have been to punch Linc into the middle of next week, he’d be jeopardizing his return to active duty. Thanks for having my back, slugger. She says she can’t believe that creep is back in her life, and he asks if Linc was telling the truth about owning her songs. She says she’s ashamed to say it, but he might be. She was an idiot when she signed that contract. She had stars in her eyes, and just signed on the dotted line. She didn’t read the fine print, let alone take it to a lawyer. So if Linc still owns her music, it’s on her. He tells her, it’s not her fault Linc took advantage because she was ambitious, The way Linc was talking to her, did he do that when he was her producer? She says, the sexual harassment was pretty much non-stop, and he says, the bastard. He’s glad she cut ties with him. She says, at a price. Why is it every time she thinks her life is back on track? He says he knows she’s upset, and she says, her hand hurts. He takes her hand, and says, let him help her.

On the phone, Jordan says she’s checking Officer I-Missed-It’s status. She’ll be back soon. She goes into Portia’s office, and seeing Curtis and Portia kissing, she slips back out. Portia tells Curtis, that’s such good news about TJ and Molly. Find Marshall and then come back home. He says, no matter what happens, he’ll be back in time for Trina’s Title IX decision. She says she loves him, and he says he loves her more. She walks him out, and he says he’ll call when he gets to Brooklyn. Jordan is texting in the hallway, and Curtis asks Portia to tell Trina to keep her shoulders back and her head up. He thanks Jordan for letting him know, and she tells him, good luck. He leaves, and Jordan says, he’s very protective of Portia and Trina. Portia says, Jordan should know, and Jordan says she’s not surprised. She’s happy for him. Curtis finally has the family he yearned for as a child.

As they eat cherry pie, TJ tells Molly, there’s two things he’s happy about; making the call on the pie, and receiving the call from his Uncle Curtis. Does she see what he did there? He’s glad his Uncle Curtis is coming. She says, it’s always good to have an ex-P.I. along on a search, but she’s got to say, for two amateurs, they did pretty good. He says, they made it this far. It was awesome, but he welcomes his uncle’s expertise. She says, there is something poetic about him and his uncle working together to reclaim their family, and he says, it feels right. Unfortunately, even if they find his grandfather, they still have to convince him to come back to Port Charles. Maybe his uncle can help with that. She asks what they do in the meantime, and he says he promised her a fine dining experience. What if afterwards, they go to that jazz bar they saw around the block? She says, sounds good. She can stay up all night if she wants to; she’s on vacation. He says, wouldn’t it be great if they ran into Marshall playing in a club? when Marshall walks in.

Brook says, if Chase wants to help her, find an ice pack. He says, whatever she needs, and she says she’s not helpless. He says, helpless is not the word that springs to mind when he thinks about her, but she’s not alone either. She says, he’s right about the contract. She has to call her lawyers; have them go over the wording. She’s got to find a way out of this. Her music is her heart, and she can’t let Linc have those songs. She won’t let Linc get the best of her again. She lets go of Chase’s hand.

Sonny says, this is great. How much does he owe Brando? Brando asks if he’s kidding. Absolutely nothing. It’s time for him to do something for Sonny for a change. Sonny says, Brando doesn’t owe him anything, and Brando says, the talk they had the other day about how he could help Sasha? That’s payment. Sonny asks, how’s she doing? and Brando says, he’s still worried, but thanks to Sonny, he believes he can be there for her, and do what’s right. He just needed that confidence boost, and Sonny gave him that. He feels sorry for Michael. He hopes Michael realizes how lucky he is to have a father like Sonny. They see a car pulling up, and Sasha comes into the garage with Gladys. Sasha asks if Brando got it running, and hugs him. Brando says, he and Sonny got it running. What is she doing here? Gladys says, Sasha has something to tell him. He says, what is it? and Sasha says, Gladys is moving in with them.

Tomorrow, TJ wonders if they came all this way for nothing; Epiphany thinks it’s time to give it another shot; Carly says she’ll never be over what Nina did; and Nina says, she’s sure she and Sonny can think of something.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Two days after the break-in. PK informs Dorit that he met with a detective today, and the DA wants to prosecute the home invaders to fullest extent of the law. PK wants her to know they have the full weight of the LAPD behind them. Dorit says, she thinks it’s important let have investigation, but the kids… PK shuts the door, and says, it’s the maddest thing. There are security guards all around, but the kids don’t even ask what they’re doing; they just carry on. It’s amazing the way they… Dorit says, acclimate? In Dorit’s interview, she says, her father was a paratrooper in the Israeli Army, and taught them that if they stay calm, they can get through anything. Then she tells a story about a bee that isn’t really worth retelling. Dorit replays the guy screaming at her, who else is in the f***ing house? Don’t f***ing lie or I’ll kill you. PK says he’s so proud of how she handled it. She’s so tough; tougher than he is. Dorit says she wants to go out, and laugh and smile. PK says, it was sweet of LisaR to offer to cancel Harry’s party, and we flash back to PK telling her that, in his religion, you never cancel a happy occasion for a sad one. He says, they need to go forward. If they don’t the invaders win.

LisaR meets Kyle for lunch, and informs her that Halloween Part 4,000,002 is the number one movie in the country. It’s a huge deal. Kyle tells LisaR that the director said she’d be in the next one, and they clink glasses.

Sutton and Crystal go to Lady M Cakes to indulge in a slice of pancake cake, which is actually made with crepes. They clink forks, and Crystal asks if Sutton and Erika are good. Sutton says, they’re best friends, and braid each other’s hair.

Kyle says Erika seems to be doing well, and LisaR says, at least headlines aren’t happening every day. Kyle asks how LisaR and Sutton are doing, and LisaR says she wasn’t amused about Sutton bringing up the charity thing on Watch What Happens Live. We see the clip where Sutton says she got LisaR and Harry’s tickets to some Elton John charity event, and never got a thank you.

Sutton tells Crystal that she thinks it was a miscommunication, and LisaR didn’t know. She doesn’t want any ill will, and it got turned into a landslide.

LisaR tells Kyle that she and Harry have been going as a guest of Elton’s for years. Whatever Sutton is doing, she has to stop. In LisaR’s interview, she says, Sutton talks about reputation and character, but she made Harry look bad. It’s one thing to involve her, but involving her husband? Sutton f***ed with the wrong one. Kyle says she’s bringing popcorn to Harry’s party, and LisaR says, Sutton should have kept her f***ing mouth shut.

Everyone gets ready for Harry’s birthday dinner, and Harry asks if this is a happy one. LisaR tells him, he’s alive, isn’t he? We find out new Wife Diana is coming. She was married to a banker PK knows, and had a baby a year ago at age 47. Mazel tov! LisaR and Harry go to the venue early to do place settings. LisaR wants Sutton at end, because she’s just that childish. In LisaR’s interview, she says, tonight is Harry’s birthday, and she doesn’t want Sutton bringing up the charity thing. It’s about Harry tonight. In the limo, PK says how proud he is of Dorit. He’s surprised she’s ready to go out. She says, all the women being at the house the next morning helped. Kyle and Mauricio are riding with them, and Kyle asks if Sutton texted. Dorit says she did, but they’re not really friends, so she didn’t expect Sutton to race over. Kyle points out an Instagram post Sutton made, and how insensitive it was for her to post something happy. When they talked about what happened, Sutton said she’d been putting out her own fires because some designer of hers was having a problem getting into the country. She said she was sorry she didn’t have a gun to her head. PK wishes Kyle hadn’t told him that. Me too. I always forget how much I can’t stand these women until one of them opens their mouth.

Harry tells Erika, now that Tom is out of the picture, he’s the oldest in the group. Erika says, he’s also the wisest. They find out the entrée is spaghetti Bolognese (one of Harry’s specialties), and Garcelle says she’s afraid of spaghetti sauce now. In Sutton’s interview, she says she wants to apologize on the spot, but she’ll see where things lead. It’s a big birthday for Harry, and she doesn’t want to cause problems. She tells Garcelle that she feels small-breasted in this crowd, and wonders who to stand near.

Diana comes in, and Crystal tells Garcelle that she’s a firecracker. Garcelle asks what she needs to know, and Crystal says, she’s with her fiancé Asher. In LisaR’s interview, she says she’s never met anyone like Diana Jenkins. She can’t put her finger on the accent. Is it Zsa Zsa Gabor? Marlena Deitrick? Greta Garbo? Diana’s accent is part of her mystique. I think she sounds like Sophie on Two Broke Girls. In Crystal’s interview, she says, Diana was always the It Girl in Europe, and hangs out with the Hollywood glitterati. She lives a very wealthy life. Diana had said what was cute about Crystal was that she was relatable, and Diana isn’t. That’s Diana. Diana is introduced to everyone, and in Sutton’s interview, she says, Asher is quite dashing. He should be called Dasher. PK tells his table companions that the burglars were amateurs. They weren’t the Pink Panther; it was a smash and grab, mostly purses and watches. Diana says she was with Kim Kardashian in Paris, and left the day before Kim was robbed. She slept with a chair propped against the door, and Kim asked if it was a war thing, but she said, no; it’s a rich people thing. Kyle says Diana is wearing a lot of Cartier, and  Diana lets Kyle try on her Panthère de Cartier rings, which are insanely expensive. Diana says, it’s nouveau riche; when you go from poor to rich, you pile it on. In Erika’s interview, she says, Diana looks like Liberace. LisaR gets up, and says, she’s grateful Harry chose her. She wants to toast him and celebrate him. He’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. Really? She couldn’t do better than that for his 70th? In her interview, she says, it’s surreal they’ve been together nearly 30 years.

After dinner, the guys sit at another table, drinking and talking. Someone asks what Asher does, and he says, he’s putting out an album. He did Broadway when he was growing up. At the other table, Dorit says, she’s blessed and grateful to be here. She wants to take every opportunity to celebrate. Sutton says, speaking of thankful. She and LisaR had a thing, and she was over-spoken. I gotta say, I’ve never heard anyone use that term before. Sutton says she didn’t mean to hurt LisaR or Harry. She spoke of something in public, when she normally doesn’t, and it was her mistake. LisaR says she appreciates Sutton saying she’s sorry, but Sutton didn’t buy a table at the event. She wants to be clear about that. Sutton canceled at the last minute, and she and Harry had to scramble to get tickets. Sutton asks, who told her that? and LisaR says, Harry’s publicist. Sutton says, they’re lying, and LisaR says, they gave their tickets away because they were at Sutton’s table. She received and email saying Sutton had canceled, and the tickets were sold out. However, if they gave a half-hour interview to IMDb, they could sit at their table. It was embarrassing to the charity. In Sutton’s interview, she says, she’s a very philanthropic person, and that’s not what happened. Garcelle says, Sutton must have a receipt for the table, and LisaR asks if she brought them. Sutton takes the receipt out of her purse, and Diana says, this is classless. LisaR says, don’t do it, but Garcelle says, LisaR is the one who brought it up. Diana tells them to find a different subject, and in Kyle’s interview, she says, LisaR has her own receipt, and does an imitation of Diana saying, put it away, it’s tacky, and LisaR agreeing, and throwing it over her shoulder. I literally lol, which I rarely do while watching these unappreciative ingrates. Again, LisaR says, it’s embarrassing to the charity. Sutton should know better. Sutton says she knows slander, and she didn’t cancel the table. LisaR asks if Sutton is going to sue her, and insists Sutton canceled at the last minute. Garcelle tells Sutton, show it, and in her interview, Sutton reads from the receipt that Harry and LisaR’s tickets were processed, and shows us that it was $11,500. Crystal says, Diana underwrites the event, and in her interview, Kyle says she sees why LisaR invited Diana; she’s both a friend and a character witness. In Diana’s interview, she says she’s been the main sponsor for a long time. Elton and husband David are good friends of hers. Here’s where I’m not sure if I missed something, since it turns out Sutton and LisaR were both there, and sitting at the same table. WTF? In her interview, LisaR says, Sutton thinks too much about herself. She thinks she can one-up LisaR at Harry’s birthday party with her receipt, and their good friend was just held up at gunpoint. If Sutton is worried about a receipt, something is off with her empathy meter.

At the dude’s table, they discuss the custom of shaking hands, while Kyle says, Sutton and LisaR both had good intensions, and upset each other, but at the end of the day, they supported the charity. She thinks it was a miscommunication. LisaR says, Sutton did apologize, and Sutton says, LisaR knows what it’s like to step in it and she did. Erika asks if she gets an apology, and Sutton says, no. She doesn’t like Erika. Erika says, the feeling is mutual. Sutton can go f*** herself. Sutton says, no, you, shut up, and Erika says, no, you. It’s a tough call, but this might have been the stupidest exchange ever on this show.

In Garcelle’s interview, she says, it’s obvious Erika isn’t over her beef with Sutton, and we flash back to the Reunion. She says, it’s petty, and it’s too much. Sutton says she’s out, and Garcelle says, her too. She wonders how they can get past it. Some of them are being nasty just to be nasty. LisaR says she can move on, and accepts Sutton’s apology. She’d like to move on, and not make a big deal out of it. Sutton says she adores LisaR, and wouldn’t want to hurt her, but Garcelle thinks that’s going a bit too far. She doesn’t think Sutton adores LisaR, but Sutton insists she does. In Sutton’s interview, she says she likes LisaR and wants her to act right, and she didn’t act right. She and Garcelle sit back down, and Garcelle says, Erika is enjoying herself too much. In Kyle’s interview, she says, it’s the phoniest reconcile she’s ever seen, and Sutton and LisaR hug it out.

We see Diana at home with her son, baby, Asher, and teeny weeny adorable pup Pearl, who’s either a small Pomeranian or a long-haired chihuahua. In Diana’s interview, she says she lives a big life. She travels a lot, and it gets complicated because she wants to take everybody with her. She has a set of houses she moves around in; five/six houses. Not to sound pretentious, but she grew up poor Sarajevo, a communist country. She grew up a tomboy; she was tough and got in fights. Asher says, the baby has Bosnian DNA, and Diana says, when she was young, a gang leader was picking on her brother, and she kicked the sh*t out of him. She thought he might kill her, but she got a reputation, and nobody messed with her. In her interview, she says, when she was 19, war broke out, and her dad was determined to get her out. She left her family behind, and when she got to London, she had no money or passport. She did anything to get anything, and for ten years, it was excruciating; just survival. She met her ex in London. He was one of the top investment bankers in the world, and she went from extreme poverty to extreme wealth. She felt rich with her first $1000, and rich with her first $10K, but realized she hadn’t scratched the surface. Why did she get divorced? Why does anyone get divorced? She wasn’t happy, and wanted to be on her own with her own identity. They had two children; a son who’s 22 and just graduated (I assume college), and a daughter who’s 19, and in England studying horseback riding. She’s hoping to enter the Olympics. Diana was single for five minutes, then met Asher at a Victoria’s Secret party. They kept having fun, and here they are. There’s a 15 year age difference, and she tells us, he’s 33; do the math. He looks older with a beard, but she loathes the beard.

Sutton and Kyle check out Sutton’s store, and Kyle asks what Sutton is planning for her event. Sutton says, her designer Alexis Mabille  was finally allowed to come in from Europe. She’s doing a play on An American in Paris, and calling it, A Parisian in LA. She tells Kyle that she’s a real Francophile, then has to explain that it’s someone who loves France. Kyle asks if everything is okay with Sutton, and Sutton says she’s fine. Kyle says, there’s something that’s been bothering her. When they met at Kyle’s old house after what happened to Dorit, Dorit had a gun held to her head, and Sutton said she’d been putting out her own fires. Sutton says, sorry, she’d had a busy morning, and Kyle says, her reaction was very strange. She said she was sorry she didn’t have a gun held to her head when Dorit’s life had been threatened. Sutton wonders why Kyle would think it was weird. She was working; maybe her brain was there. She doesn’t even remember. Kyle wonders if this is a new Sutton, or a side of Sutton she didn’t know. Sutton seems a little off. In Kyle’s interview, she says she doesn’t know what planet Sutton is on, but she doesn’t think it’s this one. Sutton says, nothing is up, and Kyle says, it seemed like she didn’t give a sh*t. Sutton says, that’s not true. She doesn’t deal well with… Kyle says, emotions? and Sutton says, guns and burglaries. Kyle says, nobody does (now who’s being insensitive?), and Sutton says, her house was broken into when she was 14, and her father shot himself. Is that what Kyle wants? Kyle says, it’s not about Sutton, and now Sutton is doubling down and it’s freaking her out. In her interview, Kyle says, part of her wants to say she knows Sutton isn’t like this, and knows she can be better. The other part says, if someone shows you who they are, believe them. Kyle asks how Sutton can be so insensitive. Is she just wrapped up in her own world or does she not care? Sutton says she’s not seeing it.

Next time, La Quinta, Versace, Crystal is triggered, and Dorit asks if someone is out of their f***ing mind.

❗️ I’m guessing this isn’t popular opinion, but I like Sutton. Granted, she can be self-centered, but I think in this case there are deeper issues. I believe she does not want to think about what happened to Dorit because it’s triggering for her. I have no clue what happened when she was 14, but yeah, her father killed himself with a gun, and we know she has difficulties regarding his suicide. I think she’s put up one big wall here. Surprising/Not surprising is Kyle not grasping this, since she has anxiety issues of her own, but she’s also stupid AF.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Finn sees Elizabeth at the hospital, and says they have to stop meeting like this. He asks, on a scale of one to ten, how’s her hangover? and she says, bad enough to give her a headache, but not bad enough to make her forget she and Sam started a fire on the pier. He says, or Sam and Dante falling in the harbor, and she says, at least it gave her something else to think about… besides the secret hanging over them. He tells her, let’s go.

Maxie comes out of the elevator at the MetroCourt, and sees Austin. He says, it’s nice to see her, and she says, he’s back. He says he is, and asks how she’s doing. She asks what he’s doing in Port Charles.

Anna drinks coffee at the bar, and flashes back to her kiss with Valentin.

Valentin is also daydreaming at the Quartermaines, and Monica asks if she’s interrupting. He says, no. He’s just waiting for his lawyer; he’s late. She asks if they’ll be discussing ELQ, and he says they will. She asks if he doesn’t see the conflict. He’s living in her house (Alan gave it to her, in case you didn’t know), and he’s stealing from her family’s company. He asks if she intends to evict him, and she says, why shouldn’t she?

In the elevator at the hospital, Carly wonders if Monica is going to hate this more or less than when she found out AJ was marrying her, but Jason says, it was a long time ago. She says she and Monica have a grudging truce. Monica has never forgiven her for what she did to AJ, and as a mother, Carly can’t say she blames her. Now she’s marrying Monica’s other beloved son. She’s going to hate this. The doors open and Britt is there. She says she’ll get the next one.

Portia looks at a photo of her and Curtis on her phone, and Terry says, Dr. Robinson. Portia wonders since when they’re being so formal, and Terry says since she wants to make a formal pitch to Portia. Portia says, about? and Terry says, backing her campaign for Chief of Staff.

At Charlie’s, Curtis asks if Stella said something to Portia about him and Jordan, and she says she most certainly did. She told Portia that he needed to recover from the end of his marriage, and the last thing he needed was a rebound relationship. He asks where Stella gets off telling Portia something like that.

Jordan takes a flashdrive out of her computer, and tells Molly and TJ, Judge Carson starts off by speaking in code. Molly says, taking into consideration each defendant’s previous record, and Martin says, how they’re raised; what they’re future’s likely to be. TJ says, Judge Carson actually said, some people only respond to incarceration, and Martin says, one thing’s for sure. She absolutely admitted to handing down different sentences to different defendants based on race. There’s no denying how obvious her biases are. TJ asks if Jordan thinks the recording is enough to call the judge’s sentences into question.

Alexis tells the guard she can’t. She looks at Shawn, and says she can’t go back into solitary. He says she knows what they practiced, and the guard reaches for her. She backs up, and says, no!

Austin says he has some business in Port Charles, and Maxie asks if it’s something new. She’s never seen him anywhere around Port Charles. Anna joins them, and Austin says it’s nice to see her. She says she’s been meaning to thank him for the use of his home in Pawtuck, and he says, his pleasure. He hopes she and Mr. Cassadine were warm and dry. Are they any closer to finding Maxie’s baby? Anna says, no. She’s afraid the rain washed any evidence away. He says he’s sorry to hear that, and to let him know if there’s anything else he can do. He gets in the elevator, and Maxie and Anna smile at each other.

Valentin thanks Monica for letting him and Charlotte stay in her beautiful home. It means the world to be close to Bailey, and she’s so young, he’d hate to have to schedule bouncing her from house to house. She says, enough. She’s not going to kick him out. She’s put up with a lot worse over the years. Her sister-in-law comes to mind. He says he hopes he can repay her sometime, and she says, when they vote him out as CEO, be gracious in defeat. She goes to the door, and Yuri opens it for her, saying something in Ukrainian. Or Russian. Or wherever he’s from; I forget. She responds in kind, and he watches her go.

Portia says, so Terry is serious about becoming Chief of Staff, and Terry says she seems surprised. Does Portia think she’s too young? Too inexperienced? Portia says, hardly. GH could use some fresh faces, and some fresh air from Cyrus and his reign of terror. Terry says, so she can count on Portia’s support when she presents her case for Chief of Staff to Dr. Quartermaine? Britt has joined them, and asks if Terry is trying to get the popular kids on her side. Did she put up election posters in the cafeteria? Terry says, if Britt’s worried about this being a popularity contest, perhaps she should question why she’s so unpopular. Britt says Terry can retract the claws. She’s leaving as soon as she drops this chart off. She’s welcoming a new doctor to their team; a responsibility of the Chief of Staff. As Britt walks away, Terry tells her, enjoy it while she can, and Britt says she will. For years to come. Terry tells Portia, sorry. She kind of took the low road there. It’s so not her style. Portia says, Britt tends to bring out the worst in all of them, but never mind her. Before Terry talks to Monica, she wants Terry to understand how difficult and time-consuming the Chief of Staff position really is. Terry thinks she must be speaking from experience, and Portia says, that’s because she is.

Curtis says Stella has no business meddling in his private life, and she says he’s still a married man, and Portia was getting ideas about him. He says, that’s between him and Portia. He guesses Portia would have ideas, since they kissed. She says, he’s kissing another woman and his marriage isn’t even over? He says he signed the divorce papers, and she says, has Jordan? He says she will, and Stella says, then he’s not divorced yet. She sits down, and he says, auntie, the marriage is over, and sits with her. He says, the trust has been broken, and Jordan broke it repeatedly. She says, and he thinks he can trust Portia, and he says, so far, so good. They enjoy each other’s company. Who knows? They might be on to something good here, but he’d at least like to explore the possibility, so why is she meddling? She says, because someone has to save him from himself.

Jordan says she’ll be sending Martin’s recording of his conversation with the judge to the Judicial Review Board. While the review is pending, she’ll be petitioning the Attorney General to put Shawn and Alexis somewhere that they’ll be safe. TJ says, the recording is legal, since New York allows single-party consent. If one person knows they’re making a recording, the other can be recorded without their knowledge. Martin says, that is correct, but it’s no guarantee Judge Carson is going to face consequences, even with recording and documentation. Jordan says, judges are extremely protected. It’s not easy bringing accusations against them. TJ says, but there’s hope, right, that this will all be worth it in the end?

Shawn asks Henry to let him handle this, and Henry steps away. Shawn tells Alexis, remember what they talked about; breathe in for four, breathe out for four. She says she can’t, and he says, Henry already did him a solid in letting him see her. He can get in serious trouble, and so can she if she doesn’t go back to solitary. Henry says, he’s right, and grabs Alexis’s wrist. She jerks away, and drops to the ground, clutching her wrist and crying.

Carly says, Britt didn’t look happy, and Jason says, no she didn’t, Captain Obvious. She guesses Jax wasn’t as much of a consolation as Britt thought. She should be enjoying that, after Britt rubbed their noses in the fact they were sleeping together. But she’s been where Britt is. Lashing out because it’s the only way to stop yourself from curling in a ball and crying. He says, Britt believed she could count on him, and then he blindsided her. She says he didn’t have a choice, and he says, he didn’t, but he still hates that he hurt her. Carly puts her arm around him.

Elizabeth says she’s glad Finn didn’t turn himself in to the PCPD. Maybe because the discovery of Peter’s death would gain him nothing. It would cause him to lose Violet. Not to mention, it would cause GH to lose a brilliant infectious diseases specialist. He says, the longer Peter is down there, the more likely it is someone’s going to find his body, and she says they need to figure out how to move him. He says he’s open to suggestions, and she says, what if they involve Jason? He says he doesn’t think so. If he gets caught, it makes things worse for them. She says, Jason doesn’t get caught, but he says, everyone gets caught eventually. Right now he doesn’t want to risk Jason’s luck running out when their future is on the line.

In her office, Britt thanks Austin for helping Maxie give birth, even if it didn’t have the happy ending they all hoped it would. He says, no, the end was him getting knocked out cold, and some psychotic nurse stealing Maxie’s baby. So not ideal. He hopes that doesn’t preclude him from getting the job. She says, if anything, it makes her more inclined to hire him. He delivered a baby in the woods under less than ideal circumstances. If it was up to her, she’d pin a medal on him. He says, it was his understanding that he’s already been vetted and approved, and his meeting her is just one final hurdle before becoming one of the staff. She says he’s correct, but he has a private practice in Pawtuck. Why would he give that up to join a hospital staff in Port Charles?

Maxie joins Anna, and says, what’s this about her and Valentin seeing Austin in Pawtuck? Anna says, he was very kind. He leant them his rental for shelter because it started to rain. Maxie says, Anna told him that they didn’t find any evidence that would lead to Louise, and Anna says, that’s true. Maxie says, Anna doesn’t think Austin had anything to do with Louise’s kidnapping, does she? and Anna says, does she? Maxie says she’s 100% certain he had nothing to do with it, but Anna seemed sort of suspicious of him just now. Why is that? Anna flashes back to showing Valentin the photo she found, and saying she knew Austin’s father. Anna tells Maxie, no. She doesn’t think Austin had anything to do with the nurse or her accomplice. It’s just strange that when she found out Austin’s last name, she wondered if he could be related to someone she knew years ago.

Valentin says, Yuri and Dr. Quartermaine have gotten pretty close, and Yuri says, she’s very nice lady. Valentin asks if they speak often, and Yuri says, Dr. Quartermaine says he’s very good listener, and Valentin says, really? Was he listening to what Monica said to him just now, because he wasn’t really paying attention. His mind was elsewhere; he was thinking about something else. Well, someone else. He guesses it’s to be expected, since they have a long history together, and they’ve been through a lot lately. He says Yuri is a good listener, but he’s not much of a conversationalist, and walks away.

Jordan says she’s going to give a copy of the recording to Warden Alvarez at Pentenville. Hopefully, this will be enough to have Alexis and Shawn released into PCPD custody. She says she can try to keep Molly’s role out of all of this, and Molly says, but the more details Jordan provides to the Review Board, the better the chances Judge Carson will be reprimanded or even removed. TJ says Molly might lose her job, and Martin says, at the very least, she won’t be very popular with her colleagues. Jordan asks what Molly wants her to do, and TJ says he has Molly’s back, whatever she decides. Molly tells Jordan, do whatever it takes to make this right, and Jordan leaves. Martin tells Molly that she did great, and follows. TJ hugs Molly.

Shawn tells Henry that Alexis has osteoporosis and has to be taken to the infirmary. Henry says, nice try. Step aside; she’s going back to solitary. Alexis says, no, please, and Henry pulls Shawn away. Shawn stands between Henry and Alexis.

Martin apologizes to Valentin for being tardy. He was talking to Commissioner Ashford about a delicate matter. Valentin asks if it’s anything he should know about, but Martin says, no. He’ll probably hear something about it tin the next few days, but he thinks right now they should focus on the upcoming ELQ shareholders meeting. Valentin says he gave Brook her ELQ shares back as a way of gaining access to Bailey, and before Martin says anything, he’d do it again even though it reduces his room to maneuver. Martin says, indeed. Valentin’s only hope is to sway some of Ned or Michael’s loyalists to his side. Valentin says, that’s not going to happen, and Martin suggests he pay Michael a visit at Aurora. He’s got his own company to run now. He might be interested in some sort of power sharing arrangement. His impression is that Michael’s always been a pragmatist, and he’ll know Valentin is good for ELQ’s bottom line. It’s worth a shot. Many a successful partnership… Valentin is staring into space, and Martin says he’s sorry to bore Valentin. He should have attempted to be more entertaining. On their next rendezvous, perhaps a rubber nose, oversized shoes… Maybe some pants that explode. Valentin says, what? and Martin says, a rubber nose, oversized shoes… Valentin says, Martin isn’t boring him. His mind is on something else. Martin says, judging by the look on Valentin’s face, if it’s not business, he’s distracted by matters of the heart. Valentin says, it’s a personal matter, and Martin says, they’re talking about Anna Devane, aren’t they?

Maxie asks if Anna really waited out the storm with Valentin. If she hadn’t been scared out of her mind, she would think the cabin would be cozy… in the rain… a fire crackling in the fireplace… Anna asks if Maxie is writing romance novels now, and Maxie says, come on. Everyone knows Anna and Valentin are… intense. Anna says, no. They’ve become good friends. They trust each other. That’s all.

Austin tells Britt that he has business in Port Charles that requires him to put down roots. For him, it’s convenient to practice medicine in the town he lives in. Britt asks how long his business is projected to last. Will he be sticking around? He says, that’d be the idea.

Carly says she’s sure Jason gave Britt an explanation. He didn’t just say, I’m marrying Carly, and that’s it. Jason says, he told Britt that they decided it was best for the family and each other to get married. But he also told her that he’d still be there for her. Carly says she’s sure Britt told him to go to hell, and Jason heaves a sigh. Monica comes by, and says a pleasant surprise. Jason asks if she has a few minutes to talk in her office. Monica says, sure. They can talk in her office. She walks ahead, and Carly says she thinks it would be better if Jason spoke to Monica alone. She doesn’t want to be there when Monica tries to talk him out of it. He says he thought she wanted to do this together, and she says she’s just being nice. She doesn’t want to spoil their engagement by having a big fight with his mother. So go break the happy news.

Portia tells Terry that both of her parents were doctors. She’s obviously very proud of them. Terry says she’s sure Portia’s parents are proud of her for following in their footsteps. Portia says, a while back, her father become Chief of Staff at the hospital where he worked his whole life. The job quickly fell short of his expectations. Terry says, let her guess. He was suddenly schmoozing Board members instead of diagnosing and healing patients? Portia says, not to mention dealing with the mounds of paperwork. She saw him grow to resent her mom, who still had that connection with her patients. Terry strikes her as someone who loves treating patients above all else. Terry says true. Her feelings about Britt aside, she knows she would do good as Chief of Staff. GH is great, but there are still institutional blind spots. Some prevent trans patients from getting the care they need. She knows she could make a difference. Portia says, wow. That’s a good answer.

Stella says Curtis may be a grown man, but she’s known him since he was born. When someone hurts him, he puts walls up so high, there’s not a ladder big enough to scale them. He says, her point? and she says, when she had her issues with Jordan, and he nearly kicked her out of his life. Eventually he came around, and forgave her. He asks if she’s saying he should forgive Jordan, and she says, she’s asking him to lower the walls, and really listen to her. Listen to the love she still has for him, and the love Stella knows he still has for her. He says he’s not denying his love for Jordan, and she says, but he wants to box it up and stow it in the attic. Loving Jordan was complex and difficult. What he might have with Portia looks simple in comparison, but believe her, it’s not.

Henry says, stand down inmate, and Shawn says, make me. Henry raises his club, and Jordan walks in. She asks if there’s a problem, and says Henry is the one who needs to stand down… now.

TJ beings coffee to Molly, who’s waiting in Jordan’s office. He says, the coffee here tastes like sludge, and hands her one. She asks how he’s doing, then asks if it’s a dumb question. He says she never asks dumb questions. He’s doing about as well as she is. He takes another sip, and tosses his cup away. She says, when she thinks Shawn is in prison for a crime he didn’t even commit… TJ says, he could have been out by now. Despite pleading guilty, it doesn’t make sense that he was denied parole. Molly says TJ must be angry for Shawn, and sad about the time they lost. He says he and Shawn were close before he knew Shawn was his father. Since he found out, he hasn’t been able to hug Shawn. How messed up is that? Molly hugs him.

Jordan asks, why is a guard from the male wing escorting a female prisoner back to her cell? Shawn says, it was a misunderstanding, and she says, apparently. Alexis is still sitting on the floor, and Jordan crouches down, and says, she’s so sorry this happened. Alexis says she’s been in solitary for days. She can’t go back there. Jordan says, she won’t. She’s safe now. She tells Shawn, they both are.

Valentin asks, what makes Martin think he’s talking about Anna Devane? Martin says, Valentin and the divine Miss Devane have a long and complicated history. He believes at one point, Valentin was infatuated with her. Valentin says, they studied together ages ago. Anna was bright, driven, stunning. It was easy to become infatuated with her. They had a falling out. Martin says, only because of Anna’s sister Alex. Would he be right in guessing Peter’s disappearance brought the two of them closer together? Valentin says he might be on the right track. Martin says, he is? and Valentin says he might be on the right track about him meeting with Michael. He pays Martin for legal and business advice. If he wants it about his personal life, he’ll ask for it.

Maxie asks how the whole trust thing is going with Valentin, and Anna says, good. He’s a skilled investigator. She would trust him in a dangerous situation. He’s a valuable colleague, and that’s it. Nothing more. Maxie says, okay. Maybe Anna hasn’t noticed how Valentin looks at her, but Maxie has definitely picked up on it. Anna thinks that after all the lies she’s told, she doesn’t feel she deserves anything more, or anyone, right now. Maxie puts her hand on Anna’s, and says she’s sorry about how angry she got over Peter. Recently, she’s come to see things from Anna’s point-of-view. How secrets can be worth it if you’re trying to protect someone you love. Anna asks what Maxie means, and Maxie says she forgives Anna, and wants her to forgive herself and be happy. Anna doesn’t know if any of them can be happy until they find Maxie’s baby. Maxie says it’s been great talking to her, but she has to pick up a prescription for James. Anna asks if he’s okay, and Maxie says, he’s fine. She suggests they do this again, and Anna thanks her. Maxie smiles at her, and leaves.

Elizabeth says she knows Finn is uncomfortable with Jason helping them, but what about Anna? He says, out of the question, and she says, Anna wouldn’t turn them in. He says, she used to work for the WSB; she’s in law enforcement. If they tell her the truth, that he killed Peter and Elizabeth helped him hide the body, that’s like asking her to break the law; it’s accessory after the fact. Elizabeth says, Anna loved him. She doesn’t think Anna would sacrifice Finn’s freedom to uphold the letter of the law, especially to get so-called justice for Peter. He says, it’s still a risk he’s not willing to take. She says, then she guesses it’s up to them. They’d better move while the loopholes Cyrus put in GH security are still in place.

Jason and Monica go to her office, and she says she doubts he’s there to congratulate her on her return to GH. He says, that’s not why he’s there, but he’s happy for her, and the hospital. She’s definitely the right choice to undo the damage Cyrus caused. She says, it’s daunting task, but she’s determined to succeed. She thanks him for his faith in her, and asks how he is. He says he’s fine, and she says she heard he got shot. He says, it’s not bad, and he’s almost fully recovered. She says, good. She also heard all the charges against him were dropped, and he says he’s sorry for worrying her. She says she knows everything he does has a reason, and he says, that’s why he’s there. He and Carly are getting married.

Carly asks Britt if she has a minute, but Britt says, nope; super busy. She goes to the computer, and says, actually, let’s get this over with. Jason saved her life, and she sort of balanced the scales by keeping him from bleeding to death. They were fugitives together, and it was a crazy time. Jason was really good to her, but that’s over, and he’s marrying Carly. Britt starts to walk away, and Carly asks if Britt knows why.

Portia says Terry officially has her support, but don’t say she didn’t warn Terry about the long hours. Terry says, lucky for her, she has no personal life, and Portia says she wouldn’t call that lucky. She, Terry, and Elizabeth are long overdue for a ladies night out. It’s been a long time since she’s been somebody’s wingwoman. Terry asks, who says she’s not going to be trying to find someone for Portia? Unless she’s off the market and failed to tell Terry.

Curtis tells Stella, when he and Portia originally met, she was married and had just started rehab. She says, which neither one of them knew because of him wanting to keep it simple. Here they are, years later, and he’s thinking he might have another chance. He says, what he thinks is his business, and starts to get up. She puts her hand on his, and says she has no doubt Portia has feelings for him. Why wouldn’t she? But it’s unfair going into this thinking she’s any less three-dimensional than Jordan. Portia has flaws and secrets like everyone else. He asks how that justifies her warning Portia away from him, and she says she was looking out for him as discreetly as possible. He says, discreet? That translates into, don’t tell Curtis. So how does that make her any different from Jordan? She says, a woman who’s willing to move heaven and earth, and willingly sacrifice everything for the people she loves? She’s been compared to worse. He gets up, and she says, he’s leaving? He says he has some unfinished business to settle, and walks out.

Jordan and Shawn help Alexis up, and Jordan tells her that she’ll make sure a doctor sees her. Rest. She tells Henry that she has permission from Warden Alvarez to take Alexis and Shawn into protective custody, pending an investigation into their respective trials. Alexis doesn’t understand, and Jordan says, it turns out TJ and Molly didn’t listen to Shawn. She couldn’t be more proud.

TJ touches Molly’s face, and thanks her. She says, for what? and he says, loving him. She says, as if she had a choice, and they kiss. She asks if he’ll still love her if she loses her job, and he asks if that’s a real question. She’s his hero; risking the career she’s so passionate about to save her mom and his dad. She says she’s not sure she’s so passionate about the law anymore. It allowed Judge Carson to impose biased sentences and inflict harm for years. He says, he thinks the law needs fewer Judge Carsons, and more Molly Lansing-Davises. She says, and TJ Ashfords. She knows medicine is his passion, but he’d make a spectacular attorney. She couldn’t have done it without him. He says, if they don’t try to right the past, what future will they leave behind for their kids? They kiss again.

Monica says, Jason and Carly, and he says, yes. She says maybe she should ask… He says, ask what? and she says, was it Carly’s idea or his idea? He says, they decided together that getting married was what’s best for the family and each other. She says, she and Carly have certainly had their differences in the past, but she knows Carly loves him. Obviously, he loves her, and they’re both tremendously loyal to each other, which is a good foundation for a marriage. Jason says, they think so, and Monica asks if he thinks he can be happy. She’s not talking about Carly. She’s talking to him, her son. He says he thinks he can, and she says, okay then. She’s happy for him. She hugs him, but neither one looks happy.

Carly tells Britt that she and Jason admitted their feelings for each other a month or so after Sonny’s funeral. Before Franco died; before Jason was arrested. But it felt wrong. It was too soon after Sonny, so they decided to take a step back, and let it go. But since Jason came back from Pentenville and being on the run, they realized they can’t hold their feelings back, so they decided to make it official. She’s sorry. They didn’t intend to hurt Britt. Britt says, it just comes so naturally.

Anna waits for the elevator, and the doors open. Valentin is standing inside, and he makes that crooked smile he’s so good at.

Maxie sees Austin again, and says, so his business was at the hospital, and he says he had some paperwork to fill out. He’s officially on staff. He’s moving to Port Charles, so she’ll be seeing more of him. Nice to see her. She says, him too, and he jets.

Valentin tells Anna, he was hoping to run into Michael; he’s supposed to be meeting an associate here. She says she didn’t see Michael, and he says he’ll wait at the bar then. He leaves, and she smiles. Her phone rings, and she says, Kurt. Has he found information on the helicopter pilot they were looking for… Great. Thanks. He’s a good friend.

Finn and Elizabeth walk out of the elevator, and he says, maybe they’ll do the whole thing in reverse. Since the elevator in the subbasement only goes to the roof, they can take Peter up there, take the stairwell back to 10… She says, Cyrus made sure all the cameras leading to the roof were turned off, and he says, yes. Monica comes by, and says she’s sorry. She couldn’t overhearing, and they have nothing to worry about. She’s talked to security, and they assured her the cameras have been restored everywhere. Nobody is sneaking anything illegal in or out of the hospital. Finn smiles, but he’s probably not feeling it.

Portia tells Terry, actually, she’s not seeing anyone, so put a night on the books for them, and they’ll go searching for Mr. Right. Terry says, sounds like fun. It’s time for her to do rounds, and she says she’ll text Portia. Terry leaves, and Curtis comes out of the elevator. He says, just the doctor he was looking for. She says, concerning what? and he says he didn’t like the way they left things. He thinks it’s time they finally fix that.

Jordan brings Alexis and Shawn back to her office, and Molly hugs Alexis. Shawn walks up to TJ, who says, dad, and they hug. Everyone looks happy… for now.

Britt tells Carly, so, what she and Jason had was a fling to take his mind off Carly? She doesn’t believe it for one second. Carly says she can’t make Britt believe what she doesn’t want to believe, but what Britt and Jason had was a moment; it was fleeting. What she and Jason have is forever. Jason returns, and says, Britt. Britt says they can both go to hell, and walks away. Jason asks Carly, what’d you do? Neither one of them looks happy.

In case I haven’t said it, I hate Carly. I would love it if this is the straw that finally breaks the back of her friendship with Jason, but I know that’s asking a lot.

On Monday, Maxie tells Brook that they’re in huge trouble, Austin is having the time of his life, Obrecht apologizes to someone, and Carly asks if Jason is hoping for the same thing.

⛅️ Early Night, Early Morning…

Wrapping it up because I have to get up early, since my hair is out of control, and the only appointment available was at the crack of dawn. And I called two weeks ago. Not her fault. Covid has caused a long wait for hairdressers and veterinarians. It’s also time for me to switch hats and become a copywriter for Mupo & Friends celebrity interview show on YouTube. Airing soon will be Marc Singer, my all-time favorite actor, and I’ll be making a cameo appearance. The actual interview is this week, so I’m pretty excited about that. See you on Deck on Monday, and make sure you stay safe, stay perceptive, and stay righting the past to give everyone a better future.
