General Hospital

At the hospital, Mike tells Sonny that he doesn’t need to come with him to his appointment. Sonny says he wants to, and Mike asks if Sonny thinks he’ll run away like a kid getting a booster shot. He tells Sonny to go run his empire. Sonny says he’s there just in case. Someone has to remember what the doctor said. Mike says he’s not an invalid – yet. Dante joins them, asking what’s going on. Sonny says things are fine, and asks what he’s doing there. Dante says he’s there for Mike’s appointment. Sonny wonders who called him, and Mike says he did.

Griff calls about the paternity test, and tells them they can messenger the results to his residence.

Kiki is looking at the copy of Gray’s Anatomy that David gave her, when Griff comes by. He asks if it’s a first edition, and she tells him it’s the first US edition. He says it’s still worth a lot, and asks how she got her hands on it. She says it’s a gift from Dr. Bensch. Griff says he must really like her.

Curtis is in Buffalo, New York, sneaking around a patio. Jordan calls. She knows better than to ask what he’s doing, but hopes he finds what he’s looking for. He tells her not to worry; he won’t take long. He says hypothetically, in a case like this, the logical place to look is the subject’s home office. She tells him, hypothetically, be careful, and don’t get caught. She can’t get him out. He says no one will even know he was there. She doesn’t like that he’s alone. He gets it, but it’s not like Jim is dangerous.

Sam shows Drew’s wedding ring to Elizabeth, telling her she found it in Jim’s room. Elizabeth says he just lied, and Sam says she’s not going to sit around trying to get the truth from him. She tells Elizabeth to take the ring to the police, and tell them to put out an APB. Elizabeth asks what about her, and Sam says she’ll be fine. If she can’t be found, just look for Jim. She’s not letting him out of her sight until she knows what he did to Franco and Drew.

Drew says maybe Franco pushed him, maybe he didn’t, but they were just little kids. All they know is that Jim is lying, and whatever he’s hiding must be pretty bad. Look where they are. Everything in the past doesn’t matter right now. What matters is them getting out and getting answers, and they’re going to get them together. He asks if that sounds okay, and Franco says that would be great. They hear a truck, and Drew says it sounds like a construction crew. Franco asks if he thinks it’s a good construction crew or a bad construction crew.

Up above, Jim’s construction worker thug is on the phone with him, and asks if he’s sure it’s the only way. Jim says there’s no choice. People are asking questions, and they have to disappear. The thug says it’s an awful way to go. Jim says they’re scheduled to seal the foundation, and just do his job. When it’s over, Drew and Franco will be buried forever.

Mike tells Sonny that he called Dante. He’s not senile yet, and knew he needed to bring someone. Dante thought Sonny knew, and says, sorry. Mike tells him not to apologize. It’s his appointment, and he wanted his grandson with him, not his son. Sonny says there’s nothing to forgive, but Mike says he doesn’t see forgiveness in Sonny’s eyes. Griff arrives, and tells Mike they’ll start of with a physical exam. He doesn’t need a family member until they go over the results. Mike asks if he was told that, and Griff says no one remembers, and he’s not just saying that to make him feel better. Dante says he’ll be there when Mike comes out. Griff takes Mike to the examining room, and Sonny says he didn’t know Mike had Dante’s number. Dante says he put it in Mike’s phone. Sonny thinks Mike doesn’t trust him.

David sees Kiki, and says he’s glad she’s putting the book to good use. Even first editions are made to be read and savored, not put on display and never touched. She tells him that she did some research, and saw how much it’s worth. David says some would consider it rude to discuss the price of a gift. Kiki says she can’t accept it, but he says it’s inscribed; she can’t give it back. Kiki tells him any book restorer can remove it. He says she worked hard to get accepted to medical school, and he’d like to think he did something to help. He tells her to think of it as an investment; a down payment for a long and fruitful relationship.

Elizabeth finds Jordan, who says she’s busy, but Elizabeth insists on showing her the ring. She tells Jordan about Sam finding it in Jim’s room after he denied seeing Drew. The last time Sam heard from Drew, he said he was dealing with Franco, which means they were together. Jim denied seeing either one of them, but the ring proves Drew was there. She and Sam believe Jim did something to them. Jordan doesn’t have to trust them, but the ring is evidence.

Sam listens outside Jim’s room. The thug tells Jim this could come back to bite them both, but Jim says they’re in the clear as long as the job gets done. The thug shakes his head, and tells the men to get started.

Drew says no one is checking the building, so either the men don’t know they’re there, or Jim told them to do it anyway. Franco says Jim has been perpetuating lies for decades, but doesn’t think he’s capable of murder, so they’re digging or drilling. Drew tells him to shut up and listen. They see something coming under the door that looks like grey slime.

Dante tells Sonny not to take it personally. Sonny says everyone is telling him to look at it from Mike’s point of view, but Mike’s reality keeps shifting. One minute he’s in the present, and the next, it’s thirty years ago. Dante says it’s the nature of the beast. Sonny says all the times they’ve forgiven, all that is out the window, and what’s left is distrust and resentment. Dante says that’s the effect the illness has. Mike doesn’t want to be a burden; no parent wants to be an obligation to their child. Sonny says Mike doesn’t trust him, but has to rely on him. He knows Dante doesn’t like what he does for a living, but thank God he’s rich. Dante tells him that’s an argument for another day. In the present, Mike trusts him, but in the past, all that pain and resentment comes back. Sonny says Mike thinks he doesn’t listen, and he has to admit sometimes he doesn’t hear him.

Kiki tells David that he doesn’t have to give her an expensive gift to strengthen their relationship; they make a good team already. David has something else in mind, and would like to talk to her in private about it. He tells her to come to his office, and promises she won’t be disappointed. He won’t take no for an answer.

Curtis breaks into Jim’s house. He wonders if he was proof of illegal drilling, where would he be? He sees Jim’s desk and computer, and says, jackpot.

Jordan tells Elizabeth that if Jim is as dangerous as he seems, she needs to let the person investigating him know. She asks if Elizabeth is positive he lied, and she says, absolutely. Jordan wonders if what he said about Franco doing something to Drew might be possible, but Elizabeth says Jim was just trying to get in her head. He wanted them to suspect Franco instead of him. She knows it’s circumstantial, but Jordan says the ring isn’t. She tells the desk sergeant to have Chase interview Elizabeth, and put Franco and Drew in the system as missing persons. When that’s done, she wants Jim questioned.

Jim ponders, flashing back to telling Franco he was born bad, that he saw Franco be a bad boy, and everyone knows he’s a liar. He remembers Drew busting in and coming to Franco’s defense, asking what Jim did to him. There’s a knock at the door. The manager tells Jim that his SUV is parked in a handicapped spot, and he has to move it. Jim says he’s practically the only tenant, and the manager says someone called and complained. He doesn’t want the cops on his ass, so move it. Jim leaves, and Sam goes into his room.

Sam looks through Jim’s papers and folders. She rifles through everything, and finds some documents. She looks at a permit, and says there’s a new foundation scheduled for today.

Drew says that’s cement, and Franco wonders what it’s doing there. Drew says the sound is a cement truck pouring foundation. Franco says it turns out Jim is trying to kill them.

Sam texts Elizabeth, explaining where she is. Elizabeth texts back that she’s waiting for a detective. Sam says she found something.

Curtis remarks that saved passwords will be the death of us all, and gets into Jim’s files. I think Jim just isn’t very bright. He sees something about the natural gas deposits, and says, got you, you crooked SOB.

Kiki goes to David’s office. He tells her that he’s recommend her for the Shadow Program. If selected, she’ll get to shadow senior physicians in various departments, which will give her considerable advantage over the rest of the class. She thanks David, saying it’s generous. David says she seems stressed, and asks if it’s still about midterms. She says they’re very important, so yeah. He tells her she won’t be able to retain information until she relaxes. He rubs her shoulders. I know what Kiki is thinking, and know what we’re supposed to be thinking, but that usually means it’s not what it seems. Even if it is, I’ll say it again, she could do worse.

With Mike’s physical done, Griff wants to discuss their options as a family. Dante says he’s leaving Mike in good hands. He’s a coach for his son’s T-ball team, and forgot they have a pizza party today. Mike says that Sonny was the second-best stickball player in the neighborhood. It turns out that Olivia-Q was the first. Mike wonders what happened to her. He tells Dante it’s important to show up for your children. Dante leaves, and Mike suggests he and Sonny go to Tony’s watch the kids play ball. Sonny says they’ve got to do what the doctor says first. Griff wants to schedule a few more tests and discuss the next steps.

Sam takes pictures of the documents. Jim is outside the door, digging for his key. I go, eeeee!

Elizabeth suddenly appears back at the hotel. Jim asks if she’d like to come in. She says she has to get home, so she’ll just say what she has to out there. He asks why she came back, and she tells him that she wanted to thank him for his honesty about Franco. She suspects he might have done something to Drew. He wonders what changed, since she was really pretty adamant that he was wrong. She says she gets defensive when it comes to Drew and Sam. They blame Franco for everything. Sam puts everything back in its place, and leaves via the balcony. Elizabeth says that Jim got her thinking. Maybe they’re right this time. She wonders if she’s been lying to herself, and asks if Jim really thinks Franco could have killed Drew to keep the secret. Jim says she’d be surprised at what lengths men will go to bury the truth.

Chase asks the desk sergeant where the witness is, and he says she had to leave. He shows him the ring, now in an evidence bag, and reads from the report, telling Chase that Franco and Drew are now reported missing. Sam and Elizabeth were searching for them, and confronted Jim, who knew them when they were children. He stated he hadn’t seen them, but Sam found the ring in his motel room. The commissioner wants him to handle it, since she had to leave on a personal emergency.

Curtis says, guess what? Jim isn’t the only one who hit the mother lode. He puts a flash drive into the computer and copies the files. He hears someone coming in, and draws his gun. It’s Jordan.

David says no wonder Kiki isn’t retaining things; he can feel the tension. He tells her the Shadow Program is a fast track to an amazing career. Kiki looks at all the degrees and awards on his wall. He tells her that she’s one of his favorites, and she tells him to stop.

Griff tells Mike that he scored a little lower than last time, but is an excellent candidate for one of the medications. He says not all patients respond to the medication the same way. Some see an improvement, for some it stops the symptoms from getting worse, and for some, there’s no difference. It’s impossible to know until he tries. For some people, the effects last years. Mike says, so it’s not a cure, but might delay the inevitable. Sonny says if it gives him a few more years, it’s a few more years he didn’t have before. Mike says he’s still going to die, and Sonny says they’re all going to die. A lot can happen in a few years. Griff says new discoveries are made every day. Mike says he has no insurance, and he’s not going bankrupt for a medication they don’t even know will work. Sonny says he’ll cover it, and Mike says he doesn’t want charity. Sonny tells him it’s not charity; it’s family. Mike doesn’t want to be a burden, but Sonny suggests he try the medication. He’s already being a pita, and he will be a burden if he doesn’t. Sonny immediately apologizes; he didn’t mean it. Mike says he did, and now he knows why the power of attorney was so important. He stomps out.

David asks Kiki, what’s wrong? She tells him, nothing, but he says she’s jittery. She tells him that she doesn’t like being touched, and he says she’ll have to get over it if she’s going to be a doctor. She says she doesn’t mind touching patients; it’s people touching her that she’s not crazy about. David says he’s a doctor, and trust him, the tension she’s carrying is not good. He’s trying to promote a greater sense of well-being that he tries to enshrine in the fresh blood. He thinks she’s special, but didn’t realize they weren’t on the same page.

Curtis asks what Jordan is doing there. What happened to jurisdiction and all that? She says she couldn’t reach him, and he asks if she teleported there. (Thank you!) She says she took the police helicopter. It’s worse than they thought. Jim is dangerous, and it’s not just shady business deals. He might have killed Franco and Drew.

Jim asks if Elizabeth wants to come in and talk. He can share some insight. She sees Sam peek out down the hall, and says, no thanks. She just needed to hear it again, so she’d stop lying to herself. He wishes he was wrong. They say goodnight. When he gets into his room, Sam grabs Elizabeth, telling her that she thinks Drew and Franco are being held at a construction site scheduled for demolition today, and says, let’s go.

Franco tells Drew that he’s not dying in a sub-basement with him. Drew says to stop moving; they’re not dying. He’s going back to his wife, and Franco is going back to Elizabeth. If they pour cement down there, then they can escape up there. They look at a wall that has footholds.

Sonny tells Griff  the disease is just as hard on loved ones and family as the patient. He wasn’t prepared for that. Griff says there are resources if he needs to talk to someone. Sonny brings up Stella, and Griff says it’s not the first rodeo for either of them. Sonny says his and Morgan’s illness doesn’t compare to what Mike is going through. He asks what’s next, and Griff says they need schedule a follow-up before he can be given the medication. Sonny tells Griff to give it to him straight. With or without the medication, how long does Mike have? Griff says it’s impossible to predict, but Sonny asks for a ballpark. Griff says he knows already that patients have four to eight years from the time of diagnosis, but he’s seen them go ten to twenty years. The three stages are mild, moderate, and severe, and Mike is in the moderate stage. Sonny says it’s happening fast, and Griff says the moderate stage takes the longest. Sonny says Mike is going to be a confused and paranoid SOB from now on. In the end, he’ll thank God he had today. Griff says it could take years. If he were Sonny, he would make the most of the moments he has left with his dad.

Kiki tells David they’re on the same page; she’s just sensitive about boundaries. He says as long as she’s sure. He thought they wanted the same thing; for her to succeed. She appreciates everything he’s done for her, and thanks him for his recommendation. He says he’s sure she’ll have questions, and they should set up a time to meet. She leaves, and looks worried. I’m loving her giant bag.

Curtis says Jim has had 24-hours to cover his tracks. What do they know that’s concrete? Jordan tells him about the wedding band, and that she’s put out an APB on Drew and Franco. The sooner they find them, the better. Curtis says Jim is going down. He has all the evidence to link him to illegal drilling. Jordan tells him that she was never there, and doesn’t know anything. As soon as there’s an anonymous tip to the PCPD, they can move forward. They start to leave, and suddenly turn around, guns drawn. Curtis says, what the hell was that?

Tomorrow, Ava will not risk losing Griff, Chase questions Jim, and Sam says there must be another way out.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Erika discusses her dog’s poop with a member of her staff (the poop picker-upper?), and how it looks healthy. Celebrities! They’re just like us! In all truth, that’s one way to tell the health of a baby or pet, since they can’t talk to you.

Teddi calls Dorit to apologize for what she said to LisaR. In the moment, she only thought about herself. Dorit asks why Teddi didn’t just talk to her tomorrow, but Teddi doesn’t know if she’s going, since things were rough with Erika. In her interview, Dorit seems insulted by the “sorry apology” that Teddi thinks makes it okay. Huh? At first, I liked Dorit – she was amusing – but now, she acts like she’s royalty or something. Only LVP is allowed to wear a crown. Dorit tells Teddi that she’s been sullying her reputation, and it’s starting to seem intentional. In her interview, Teddi says she’d love it if just once someone could accept an apology and move on without drama. Dorit accepts her apology, but probably isn’t moving on, and certainly not without drama.

Oooh! Rottweiler puppy! LisaR is getting ready for her mom’s visit.

Kyle meets Teddi for lunch. She just got done doing some makeup on the kids for Sophia’s school portrait day. Must be nice. Teddi tells her about what happened with Erika, and how Erika agreed with what she’d said, then pretended to have amnesia. An alien took over her body. Kyle says that’s how it was in Hong Kong. Maybe Erika holds so much in, she snaps when it finally comes out. Kyle thinks Erika might apologize, but Teddi says if not, she’ll remember it’s someone who did this to her more than once. It’s not how you treat women when you claim to empower other women. Even if Erika doesn’t like her, she doesn’t have to be mean. LVP calls Kyle. She couldn’t sleep, and doesn’t even want to go to the dog rescue center. Pink Dog died. She had a heart attack. In her interview, LVP says her dogs are like her furry children, and then has to stop the interview because she’s starting to cry. Teddi says she gave Pink Dog a good life. Kyle tells her rest and take care of herself. I tear up.

LisaR’s mom Lois arrives. LisaR says since her father’s passing, she’s grown more protective and has a deeper relationship with her mom. Her mom sort of blossomed as well. They’ve tried to get her to live in LA, but she isn’t having it. She’s become the queen bee of the retirement home in Oregon. LisaR tells Lois not to let the ladies get sassy at lunch. She had a stroke a couple of years ago, and LisaR thinks it was a blessing in disguise. It took away everything, but Lois’s happiness and living in the moment. Lois fawns over the puppy.

Erika is having her makeup done, and asks Mikey to tell her about Girl Cult. He says it’s a female empowerment event. In her interview, Erika says it’s like the TED talks meets Coachella meets girl power. Mikey says a moderator will ask questions. It’s boss bitches telling their secrets to young, cool girls. Erika thinks it’s important to show young women they have a chance and a future, and there are possibilities for them.

Lois does a dance number for Snapchat.

Teddi picks up Kyle. Kyle asks if Erika is coming, but Teddi doesn’t know. She thinks Lois will be a good buffer with the women.

LisaR says her mom is excited to meet the girls. She knows some of them, but not all of them. She’d like to bring Lois to every lunch and dinner. Camille arrives first, and hopes Lois can instill some wisdom. LisaR says she and Dorit have made great strides. On cue, Dorit walks in next, and says they’ve moved through some yucky stuff. She tells them about her swimwear line. She’s looking forward to seeing it for real. It’s like having a baby. She prattles on, and Camille gets a headache.

Kyle and Teddi join the group. Dorit asks Lois what she did for work. Lois says she’d wanted to be an actress, but no one would go to New York with her, so she waited for her kids to do it. LisaR says Erika had a work commitment, and won’t be coming. In her interview, Teddi says it feels nice not to walk on eggshells. LisaR explains LVP is still torn up about the dog; she died in Ken’s lap. This is ripping my heart out.

Ken goes to the pet graveyard with Giggy – Giggy! – and puts flowers by Pink Dog’s headstone. Aw, she was only five. LVP joins him with Harrison. Harrison! Ken says it was one of the shocks of his life. In her interview, LVP says she doesn’t do well when she loses one of the children. Ken tells her he should have seen it. She wasn’t quite right in the morning. LVP tells him not to blame himself; it’s not his fault. He even tried mouth-to-mouth, and she doesn’t know what else he could have done. She suggest they have some tea, since, according to the English, tea makes everything better.

Kyle is having a séance with the help of Rebecca, her psychic. It’s the only way she can get ahold of her mom these days. Teddi is nervous because husband isn’t into it, but she wants to be supportive, and still thinks it’s cool. The ladies order lunch. Lois gets French toast, and Kyle says she’s looking forward to eating like that. They marvel at Lois being 89, and she says she’s been happy all the time after her stroke. Even when her husband died, she wasn’t as sad as she would have been. In her interview, LisaR says Lois taught her to live in the moment. LisaR hands out cardigan dusters from her clothing line. Kyle says Lois could teach a lot to the group. Lois asks if they drink a lot, and Teddi says it depends on the day.

The guests prepare for Girl Cult. Erika says as women, they owe it to themselves to lift each other up. It’s the only way they’ll advance. Erika is introduced. She talks about how women are the future, and there’s room at the table for all of them. The monitor asks how she stays out of the drama, and Erika says you don’t have to contribute. I say, hmm… She suggests looking up to someone, and receive what they have to teach you. In her interview, she says you have to be your own best advocate.

Kyle is having the séance catered, which I think is the only proper way to do it. She thinks it’s the perfect send-off for her house. She’s excited about moving, but scared about leaving the house she loved.

Teddi comes by to pick up LVP. LVP tells her that she had to rush Pikachu to the vet, and now he’s on a ventilator. When it rains, it pours; it’s overwhelming. She tells Teddi that she seems to have recovered from the fiasco the other night, and asks if she went to LisaR’s lunch. Teddi says she did, but Erika wasn’t there. Tonight, she’s just aiming for not leaving in tears. LVP says she didn’t even hear from Erika after Pink Dog passed away. Harrison! She tells Teddi that she’s not that interested in the séance unless Pink Dog comes through.

Kyle says Rebecca is like a guidance counselor. We flash back to other times Rebecca has been on the show. Kyle introduces her daughters, and Rebecca says her youngest client is four.

Erika picks up LisaR. LisaR says she missed her, and gives her a cardigan.

LVP arrives at Kyle’s, and thanks her for the flowers. She’d rather not talk about it though.

Erika tells LisaR that she has an idea. She has a work opportunity in Berlin, but doesn’t want to go by herself. She asks what LisaR thinks about everyone coming along. In her interview, Erika thinks it’s a nice way to reach out, get out of town, and forget the bullsh*t. She says this could be the last good moment they have before séance.

LisaR tells Kyle that her dress is very séancey. She gives LVP a cardigan. LVP says she appreciated LisaR’s kind words. Kyle introduces Rebecca to everyone. In her interview, Teddi says Erika not acknowledging her, shows how okay she is. In her interview, Erika thinks Teddi is too difficult to be friends with. She doesn’t want to work that hard. Wow. I guess she considers being sensitive to someone else’s feelings working hard. Kyle tells them about meeting Rebecca, and how she knew something Kyle hadn’t told anyone. Rebecca says she’s been receiving calls from heaven on her telephone. She’s bridging the gap between technology and spirituality.

She has proof heaven knows her phone number, and calls God Poppa God. Everyone acts all weird about that, but actually, in the Bible, He’s called Abba Father, which literally means Daddy. Rebecca says heaven is real. It has technology, and she’s proved it. In her interview, LVP says she can’t even get Nieman Marcus on the phone. LVP tells Erika that she’d felt like they were getting close, but she’s brokenhearted, and wonders why Erika didn’t even call. Erika hugs her, and says she’s sorry about Pink Dog. In her interview, Erika say the truth is, she just found out, and didn’t have a chance to respond. The ladies go outside to eat.

Kyle says sometimes you just need a taco. Teddi says you have to differentiate between eating something because you want to, and when you’re eating for emotional reasons. At the buffet, LVP tells Kyle that everyone should stop being so honest, and bullsh*t instead. Rebecca says she’s hearing from a Francis, and LisaR says it’s her father. Rebecca tells LisaR that he’s there. So is Marilyn Monroe. In her interview, LisaR says that whether he’s there or not, she wants to believe it. It’s comforting. After dinner, they go to the dining room to call heaven.

Kyle tells us she’s decorated appropriately with candles, crystals, and a crystal ball – but no electronic cigarettes. We flash back to Allison DuBois and the dinner party from hell. Rebecca says there’s good energy, and John Lennon is sitting with them. In her interview, LVP isn’t buying it. Kyle asks if her mom is happy with her projects. Rebecca says her mother wants her to portray her true to her nature, and she needs to step up the hair and wardrobe. In her interview, Teddi says she doesn’t believe, but wants to be respectful. Rebecca talks about Dorit meeting her husband in another life, and that LVP has three dogs running around. Pink Dog is one of them. She says she never goes on Twitter, but for some reason did, and saw LVP’s tweet about it. LVP says she has had three dogs pass. Rebecca tells Erika that she has psychic ability. Erika tells them that she’s seen two people’s entire existence. She’s not naming names, but they would know who it was. Okay. Rebecca asks if Erika has a connection to Spain. Erika says she was kidnapped in a previous life, and lived in bottom of a ship. A knight saved her. Double okay. LVP asks how she knows that, and Erika says someone told her. In her interview, Teddi says she’ll have to up her persona game. Rebecca says someone is there for Teddi. A young female.

They’re saying hello to Teddi; they’ve been waiting to talk to her, and love her earrings. Me too. Giant multiple hoops are everything. Teddi says a young girl in her 6^th grade class who died riding horses was a friend of hers. In her interview, Teddi feels badly because she’d almost blocked her out. She’s getting emotional thinking about her, since she’d forgotten. Rebecca asks if Teddi has a house with a big deck, and Teddi says her beach house. Rebecca says her friend likes to come there, and is saying she married well. In her interview, Teddi still doesn’t believe it, but she’s thankful for the opportunity to think about her friend. Whether it was God, timing, or a lucky guess, she’s glad the memory isn’t blocked anymore. She misses her friend. Rebecca’s phone rings, and Kyle says her mom is calling, but it’s a client. The girls go back outside for dessert.

Erika tells everyone that she might have business in Berlin, and maybe they’d all like to go. She says there’s lots of artsy stuff, and they can drink beer, wear lederhosen, and have a good time. In her interview, Erika says she’s including Teddi because she thinks the group should stay together. She suggests everyone set their differences aside, and Kyle asks what about her and Teddi. Erika says she knows they’ve had words, but she apologizes for losing her temper. She doesn’t like to lose it; however, pretend amnesia is different from amnesia. They can discuss it another time. 🌆 Bethenny & Fredrik wrapped it up tonight. This short-seasoned show centered around them buying an NYC apartment, and renovating it for sale. Fredrik and Derek’s pending fatherhood, by having twins through a surrogate, was also a side story. I’m certain they will be great parents. The kids will grow up privileged for sure, but I can also see them being somewhat strict, as well as open-hearted. A favorite moment was when Fredrik, being overly-enthusiastic, spilled wine on the master bedroom headboard the evening before the open house. Luckily, Bethenny knows Dorinda Medley (The Real Housewives of New York City) whose creeper boyfriend John is in the dry-cleaning business. Another amusing scene was Fredrik suggesting they use Skinny Girl cocktail napkins in place of toilet paper, which no one got for the open house. For one, I don’t think you want a paper napkin flushed down that expensive toilet, and two, really? I know living in NYC means knowing where all the bathrooms are, but did they expect not one in four hundred people needing to go? And where did the ladies who staged the place go? Did they have a porta-potty in there? As Bethenny said, they laughed, cried, and had growing pains, but lived to tell about it. I hope they give this another shot, as it was a fun ride.

🔎 Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel (HMM) will be having a Monk marathon, starting Saturday at 9 am. I love Tony Shaloub. I’m not a sitcom person, but I still miss Stark Raving Mad, and he was wonderful in the remake of Thirteen Ghosts.
