What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Maxie waits in an exam room. The nurse says the doctor will be a while, and Maxie says maybe she doesn’t need one. She needs a time machine, or a boyfriend who shoots blanks.

Peter meets Anna at the MetroCourt. He says he has a big favor to ask. She tells him not to worry; Finn isn’t a bachelor party type of guy, but Peter says, it’s the seating chart. Please tell him that he’s not sitting next to Robert.

At the hospital Finn shows Portia something he got from Violet on his phone, and says, kids are funny. She tells him, cherish the time. Kids fall out of love with their parents in the preteen years. Trina seems to be the exception.

Chase asks if Curtis found Jordan, but he says he asked her assistant, and she has no scheduled appointments. Is Chase sure she didn’t say anything else? Chase says Jordan wanted to talk to Jason, and sent him on his way.

Jordan asks Cyrus why she’s there, and he says to show he can count on her, for everyone’s sake. She says she arranged for his release, and he’s walking free. He says she got the job done, but needs to step up her performance and dazzle him. She says she has to be careful; there’s only so much she can do. He suggests she take the initiative, and show him how far she’s willing to go. He doesn’t lack problems, so pick one and solve it. Ha-ha! That sounds like me talking to my husband.

Sonny goes to the garage, and asks if Brando is working late. Brando says he’s just finishing up, and Sonny asks if business is good. Brando flashes back to Cyrus saying his car is fine; he’s there to discuss another matter. He tells Sonny that he just missed Jason.

Sam sees Peter and Anna, and asks Carly how Peter gets a free pass. He’s the guy who kept Drew and Jason prisoner for five years. Carly gathers he’s not Sam’s favorite guy.

Jason lies unconscious on the road, his motorcycle laying next to him.

Carly tells Sam, there are two reasons Peter gets a free pass – his mother and his girlfriend. Anna and Maxie believe in him, and nothing or no one is going to change their minds. Sam says Carly realizes Peter was exonerated, right? He’s responsible for Drew’s death, and it doesn’t make sense. He framed her when he broke Shiloh out of prison, and there he sits, basking in Anna’s appreciation. Carly agrees the hypocrisy is staggering. Robert approaches Anna and Peter’s table, and Anna wonders why he’s there. He says, it’s a work day, but she says she doesn’t think people would mind if he took time off. He supposes she’s referring to Holly. It would be nice if his closest friends would tell him what actually happened to her. Peter wants to leave them to their conversation, but Robert says, sit. He has questions, and he’ll start with this one. He shows Peter a tablet with an article on Holly; Holly Sutton: Death is Her Last Great Adventure. He asks why Peter is exploiting Holly’s death in this rag of his.

Maxie tells the nurse that she needs a pregnancy test. The nurse asks how late she is, and Maxie says, late. Speaking of late, she has a meeting she needs to get to for Deception. She says the nurse may have heard of it. It was huge in the 90s, and now it’s back. She should try their new moisturizer. It’s going to be a major seller once she locks down the distributor, which is what she should do now. She can do this later. She starts to leave, and says she knows it goes without saying, but the nurse isn’t going to talk to anyone about it, right? She can’t have this getting around. She runs into Lulu, who says, she can’t have what going around?

Sonny says, Jason is a customer? and Brando says Jason needed a stabilizer for his bike. Sonny says, Jason is family. Speaking of family, he’s there about a family matter. Brando asks if it’s Mike, and Sonny says he wanted Brando to know they’re getting close to the end.

Curtis asks Chase to run through what happened again. Chase says he stopped by the courthouse, and saw Jason, who said he was there to get permits. They suspect Jason was involved with a warehouse explosion on February 19th, but have zero evidence. He wanted to talk to Jason, but Jordan saw them, and said Jason could sue them for harassment, and sent him back to the station, while she stayed to chat with Jason. Curtis asks if he has any idea what they were talking about, and Chase says, maybe Cyrus. They have reason to believe Cyrus was behind the attacks on Sonny’s family, and Jason blew up the warehouse in retaliation. Maybe she was trying to Jason to finger Cyrus. Curtis thanks Chase for the information.

Jordan says she doesn’t want to climb the ranks of Cyrus’s rancid organization, and he says, like she once did? He tells her that she hates admitting it, but she enjoyed the power, prestige, and influence. She still does. That’s why she’s Commissioner. Jordan says she’s going along with him to keep people safe, but he says she’s not going along; she’s taking orders. She says she’ll do what she must, but she’s not part of his organization, and never has been. He appreciates her candor and says maybe she’ll appreciate some in return. The safety of those close to her is in direct proportion to him, and grows with each success. She says just tell what he needs now, and he says his philanthropic endeavors are being blocked; he needs a clear path. She says blocked by who, and he says their esteemed mayor. Take care of her.

Finn asks Portia if her daughter is a mommy’s girl, but Portia says, no; she’s a daddy’s girl through and through. Her father could do no wrong. She’s sure Violet will be the same way, and idolize her dad. Trina had difficulty with the revelation that Taggert framed Cyrus. She wishes she could do more to help, but Trina is shutting her out. Finn says, it’s tough, and she says she doesn’t mean to scare him. She doesn’t think he’ll have the same challenges with Violet, but Violet might have an issue with his fiancé. Finn says, Violet and Anna get along well, and Portia says, that’s good. She’s just saying the day may come when Violet resents Anna for not being her real mom. Finn says, that’s not Anna’s fault, and Portia says, no, but it’s something kids go through in their tween years. They need to blame someone for the missing parent, and mythologize the absent one. He says he knows about that, and hopes history doesn’t repeat itself.

Anna asks Robert if the article is inaccurate, and he says, it’s a hatchet job. He reads: Holly Sutton was known for her colorful past, and proclivity for wit, her ability to get in and out of Dodge, and being comfortable in dangerous situations. Anna says, it sounds like her, and Robert says, it sounds like an article about a woman they’re better off without. Peter apologizes for not consulting Robert, and says he’ll confer with the editor and they can revise the article. He leaves, and Robert asks what Anna thinks Peter is getting out of asking him to contribute. She calls him an idiot, and says Peter is trying to be his friend.

Maxie has a bandage on her arm, and the nurse says she’ll have the results soon. Lulu says they’ll both wait. Maxie wonders if she should call Peter, and let him know his star reporter is trolling the hospital instead of doing her job. Lulu says she’s researching a story on the hospitals finances, but maybe she should call Peter and tell him why she’s all up in Maxie’s business. Maxie tells her to go uncover some facts to report, but Lulu says, not until Maxie tells her something. If she thought she was pregnant, why not take a home test? Maxie says she took three, and Lulu asks if she got different results, but Maxie says they were all positive. Lulu asks if Maxie thought there was inconsistency in that. Maxie says the tests can be unreliable. It can happen, especially to her. She says, she’s totally pregnant, isn’t she?

Carly tells Sam, she understands Maxie is grieving. Peter was there, and only showed her what he wanted her to see. She’s a civilian, but Anna knows better. Sam says Carly is missing the point. Anna doesn’t want to know. She wants to think her son is a good man. Carly says she can empathize; Anna isn’t the first mom to convince herself her kid has changed. She hates that Peter kept Jason prisoner, but he was under Faison’s thumb, and that’s over. If Jason is willing to let it go, and Anna has hope that the bad stuff is behind him, what about Sam? Sam says, after what happened to Drew, Peter is still a threat. Why is Anna still protecting him?

Sonny tells Brando, his dad stopped eating. He’s at the point where he can’t even swallow anymore. Brando says he didn’t know that could happen with Alzheimer’s patients; he thought it was just a memory thing. Sonny says, so did he, at first. Brando asks what the options are, and Sonny says, a feeding tube. Brando says, that’s rough, and Sonny says, he considered it, but then he reconsidered. That’s not living, it’s existing, and he knows his dad wouldn’t want that. Brando asks if they talked about it, and Sonny says they didn’t get the chance, or maybe he didn’t want to go there. When he wanted to, it was too late, so he made the choice for his dad. He’s praying it’s the right one.

Jordan says Cyrus isn’t asking her to kill Laura, is he? He laughs, and asks what he’d do with a murdered mayor. Port Charles needs her, and he’s fond of her, but she’s getting in the way of him acquiring GH. Jordan says Laura is lobbying for Federal funding, and he says her daughter has a public platform. She asks why he doesn’t drop it, but he says, it’s too rich a prize to pass up, and they may never be this vulnerable again. Nelle is suing for unauthorized surgery on her son, and the insurance doesn’t want to cover it. If she wins, the hospital will be even more vulnerable, and it will be the perfect opening for him. Jordan says, Monica rallied the Quartermaines to give the hospital resources. The board will refuse him if they’re told he’s a known drug trafficker. There’s nothing she can do. He says he needs a champion to vouch for his character.

Curtis finds Jason, and asks if Jason can hear him. Jason doesn’t respond, so he calls 911, saying he needs paramedics on Harborview Drive at the Greenville turnoff. There’s a motorcycle rider down, and he’s completely unresponsive.

Jordan tells Curtis that she can’t offer her endorsement. How would it look? She has no business stepping outside her role. He says, but she can speak out for a man wrongly convicted. She discovered the miscarriage of justice, so who better to vouch for him? When she talks, Port Charles listens. She says Laura isn’t staying away indefinitely, and will wonder why she’s advocating for a man she despises. What good will it do for her to lose Laura’s trust and get fired? He says, good question. Make sure it doesn’t happen.

Portia says she hopes she didn’t offend Finn with her amateur psychology, and he says, no offense taken. She says she’s just projecting. She thinks Violet will be fine. She’s growing up with two attentive parents, and will be happy and well-adjusted. Finn says, in his humble opinion, he thinks Trina will be fine too. She has a loving, caring mother. Elizabeth joins them, and says a patient has been brought in who had an accident. He was unresponsive on arrival, and a head injury is possible. Finn asks if she’s okay, and Elizabeth says, it’s Jason.

Anna tells Robert that Peter tried. He knows how Robert feels about him. Does he think anything will change? He’s never given Peter a fair shake, and likes to look for excuses to hate him. Now he’s using Holly’s death. It’s pathetic. Robert says the only reason Peter wrote the article was to get under his skin. Anna says, which is looking thin. If Peter wanted to sensationalize or exploit Holly, he would have highlighted her past deeds. Robert says he’s not arguing, but a lot was left open to interpretation. She says, another reporter might have skewed the story, but Peter wrote it himself. Robert says Peter spun the story, and threw it in his face, and she says she guesses it’s easier to take his anger out on Peter, rather than deal with his feelings. Robert says, what feelings? and she says, grief, loss, anger, regret, pain. She could go on; she’s got all day.

Carly sees Peter at the bar, and asks how he’s enjoying his day. He says, it’s been trying, and she asks if there’s a problem with the service. He says, no, it’s fine, and she tells him to let her know if it’s otherwise. The Invader is an important tenant and she wants to give them her full attention. Peter says she’s thoughtful, and she says she prides herself in troubleshooting and avoiding problems. Sonny is the same way, but his way is more inflexible. Sam gets a call from Curtis, who tells her, Jason was in an accident; he’s on his way to GH. Carly really needs to stop making veiled threats to people about Sonny.

Brando says he doesn’t know about right or wrong decisions in situations like this, but he knows a bit about Mike. Things he learned the summer Mike spent in Connecticut. Sonny says he’d like to hear it, and Brando says, he was ten and crazy about horses. Mike would pick him up and take him to the track. The thoroughbreds were too valuable to have a kid around them, but there were working horses, and he spent his time with one horse in particular, Smoky. Smoky would see him coming, and come over. He knew Brando had an apple or carrot. One day at the end of summer, Mike picked him up and he knew something wasn’t right. Mike told him Smoky got hurt and wouldn’t recover. They went to say goodbye, and Brando tried, but he started crying and said he was ready to leave. Mike asked if he loved Smoky. He said he did, and Mike said, if you love something, you love it all the way to the end. (Yep. Here come the waterworks.) So he stayed, and the last thing Smoky heard before he was put down, was Brando saying he wasn’t going to hurt anymore. Lesson learned. Whatever choice Sonny makes for Mike, Mike will understand. Sonny says he appreciates Brando telling him, and Brando says, Mike is no stranger to making tough decisions. Sonny’s phone rings, and it’s Carly. She tells him that he needs to meet her at GH. Jason was in an accident. He says he’ll be right there, and tells Brando that he’s got to go. Brando says, Mike? but Sonny says, Jason. He leaves, and Brando looks stunned. I really appreciate them stomping on my heart about Mike and a horse.

Lulu says she takes it Maxie and Peter weren’t planning on this. Maxie says they haven’t been living together that long. They’ve never even had a conversation about having kids, and the only time marriage came up was when they were arguing with Spinelli. Lulu says, that’s a lot to unpack in one statement, and Maxie says she has no idea how she feels. Before they moved in together, Peter had a total crisis. He was confused, and afraid to be happy, but he moved in anyway, and lived through the fear. Lulu bets he would love to be married to Maxie and have kids. The family would be over the moon. Maxie says, Spinelli and Robert not so much. Lulu asks if she really cares what Spinelli thinks, and Maxie says, of course (🍷). Spinelli is Georgie’s father, but she doesn’t have to clear her decisions with him. Her feelings are complicated. Lulu asks if it’s because of Nathan, and Maxie says, she’s always thinking about Nathan, but this has nothing do with him. Lulu says, she and Peter are okay, right? Maxie says she loves him, and he loves her, and James and Georgie. They’re building a life. Lulu asks, what is it? Maxie can tell her. Maxie says, the timing couldn’t be worse. She feels selfish, but what if she’s not ready? What about her career?

Robert says he hates when Anna tells him what’s in his soul, and she say he does it to her, and she hates it more. Too bad. He’s bellyaching now because he knows she’s right. He’s afraid of his feelings, and he’s ashamed about not ending things properly with Holly. He says, rubbish, and she says she heard there’s a memorial service in England. Has he made plans to attend? He says, no, and she says she didn’t think so. He should go. It will give him a chance to say a proper goodbye, mourn Holly, and pay his respects. Robert asks why should he mourn an empty grave?

Jordan tells Cyrus. ELQ is capable of pulling GH back from the brink, but he says, they’re prone to infighting. The board will be open to an alternative donor, providing it’s someone in good standing with the community who they can trust. Build that trust. Chase calls, and asks if she’s okay; he’s had a hard time reaching her. She says she’s in the middle of something. Is there a problem? Chase says, Jason was in a motorcycle accident, and was just brought into GH. Jordan says she’s going back to the office, and tells Chase to head out to the accident site and get a full report. Cyrus says he knows she has to keep up appearances, but don’t misplace her priorities. She says she knows what her priorities are.  

Carly and Sam run into the hospital, and Sam tells the reception nurse that they’re looking for Jason. The nurse says, he’s being treated now, and Sam says she wants to see him. The nurse says Sam can’t, but she’ll relay the new information as soon as they have it, and Sam and Carly sit in the waiting area. Curtis arrives, and Sam asks, what happened? He says he spotted a rider down, but didn’t know it was Jason. He called 911, and waited until the paramedics got there. Sam thanks him, and he says he’ll go to the station and find out what he can. Elizabeth comes out, and says she was there when they brought Jason in; he was unconscious. There don’t seem to be any internal injuries, but they’re running a battery of tests to see if he’s had a traumatic brain injury.

Carly calls Diane, and tells her, they don’t know anything yet, but they’re running tests. She asks if Diane is sure the paperwork was filed, and asks her to put it in a PDF file and email it. She doesn’t want any problems. Elizabeth tells Sam that she can’t go in while the doctors are working on Jason. The best thing is to just wait. She’ll let them know if she hears anything. Peter comes by, and tries to say something to Sam, but Sam says, back off. Brando has joined them, and tells Peter, listen, but Carly says Jason wouldn’t want them going at each other. She tells Peter that he shouldn’t be there, and Peter says he didn’t mean to intrude; sorry. Elizabeth leaves to get an update, and Sonny gets off the elevator. He asks, what’s going on? How’s Jason? Carly says they don’t know, and no one is telling them anything.

Maxie says she’s sure this isn’t the first baby who’s misdirected a career move someone has been waiting forever to happen. There’s a lot at stake at the moment that she has to evaluate; it’s a big deal. She knows Nina would kill to be in her situation, and Lulu says, if Maxie has a baby, it should be because she wants to. It’s her body, and her priorities are her own. The nurse comes back holding a paper, and Maxie asks if those are the results.  

Anna says, now they get to the real issue; Robert’s fixation that Holly is still alive. He tells her that he didn’t say that, and she says, but he’s thinking it. He says he’s thinking a lot of things. What was Holly doing working for the WSB, why the ship went down, who was on the ship, and what happened to Holly’s body? Anna suggests he go get answers rather than feeling empty, and directing his pain at Peter. It’s not doing Holly or her memory any good. 

Cyrus’s main dude asks how the meeting with the Commissioner went. Cyrus says he gave her clarification of their respective positions. She wasn’t happy, but she’s going to comply. Dude asks if she should be on the guest list, and Cyrus says he’d be disappointed if she wasn’t. Dude asks how he should handle it, but Cyrus says he has confidence that Jordan will do what she’s asked – for the time being. He has a bigger target in mind. With Jason out of the way, there’s nothing left between Sonny and a bullet between the eyes.

Sonny says Brando told him Jason was just in the garage, and Brando says, Jason was there to pick up his bike. He’d just finished working on it.

Robert says Anna is insufferable, and she says, thank you. He always says that when she’s right. Who else would call him on it? He says, Holly, and Anna says, she’s not there; sorry. She thinks Holly would be appalled at his behavior. He needs to find another way of dealing with the pain before it eats him up. He’s going to RSVP to her wedding, and no is unacceptable. She leaves, and he looks at the article again.

Peter sees Lulu and Maxie, and tells them, Jason was in a motorcycle accident. Maxie says, poor Sam. He says he came to look for Lulu because he thought she could write the story. She says she doesn’t think she could be objective, and he says he’ll call the desk to send someone else. Maxie wants to check on Sam, but he tells her that they want to be left alone. What’s she doing there? Maxie doesn’t know what to say, and Lulu says, Nurses Ball stuff for Deception, and Maxie repeats, for Deception, leaving us with a double entendre.   

On the phone, Chase says he wants pictures right away. He wants to review them before he leaves. He also wants the site kept secure. He tells them not to let CSI touch anything until he gets there. The Commissioner wants him to deal with it personally. He receives a picture the road, with Jason’s overturned bike at the end of a skid mark. He says, none of this makes sense.

Curtis is waiting for Jordan outside her office, and she says, before he starts, she saw he called, but she was wrapping up something and couldn’t pick up. He says she has a lot of irons in the fire, and she says, now isn’t a good time either. He says, because of Jason? and she says, he heard? He tells her that he was the one who found Jason when he was out looking for her. Does she mind telling him where she’s been hiding?

Cyrus asks Dude, what’s in the bag? Dude says he thought Cyrus would like to celebrate, and pulls out a bottle of Jack. Cyrus says, the demise of Jason, and Sonny’s loss of his human fireball is cause for celebration. 

Portia says, the news is good. Nothing is broken, there’s no indication that Jason has internal injuries, and his vitals are strong. Sam asks if he’s still unconscious, and Finn says his pupils are good, but they need to rule out a possible TBI. He consulted with someone in neurology, and they recommended an immediate exploratory procedure. If Jason is hemorrhaging, the worst case is that he’s brain dad. Sonny says, that can’t happen, and Finn says Sam has to sign a consent form. Sam says, it’s not up to her, and Carly says she has power of attorney, and pulls out the confirmation. Elizabeth gives her the form, and she signs it, saying they’d better damn well save him. Everyone looks at each other, but Sonny looks hard at Brando.  

For what it’s worth (as they would say on GH), I don’t think it’s Brando. Way too easy.

On Monday, Franco says Elizabeth is planning on not going, Ava asks Nelle how she’s blackmailing Julian, and Sonny asks if Brando has something else to tell him.

I kind of thought it was Hannah, and that it was her prescription, but the way this was handled was appalling. I checked out Malia’s Instagram, and fans are not happy. Apparently, she removed the text on the post in question, and disabled the comments. That didn’t stop anyone from commenting on the post. Malia’s excuse for outing Hannah was baloney, since when Captain Lee found out Kat was taking a prescription, there was none of this. Very disappointed in Captain Sandy and Malia.

At the hospital, Finn apologized to Willow, saying Chase could be a knucklehead, but suggesting she cut him some slack. Chase wasn’t an expert at relationships. Laura was having lunch at the MetroCourt, and asked Carly to join her. Carly said Michael’s custody case was tomorrow. She’d done everything she could to strengthen the case, but there was no way to be sure. Trina showed up at the hospital to see Portia, who’d thought Josslyn’s driver was bringing her home. Sonny and Jason met Curtis at the pier. Sonny asked about TJ’s memory of the kidnapping, and Curtis recalled when he’d talked to TJ. He told Sonny that TJ didn’t remember much, and Sonny said that was a good thing. The less TJ remembered, the safer he’d be from Cyrus. Mac talked to Jordan about the kidnapping, and flashed back to TJ telling him that he remembered water being nearby, and possible construction.

Carly told Laura that Nelle was a nightmare, and remembered all of her interactions with Nelle. Laura said it seemed Nelle wanted to bring down GH, and Carly said Bobbie and Monica were collateral damage; Nelle wanted to force Michael’s hand in the custody case. Laura said she didn’t think insurance was going to cover it, when Cyrus walked into the MetroCourt. Curtis told Sonny, he didn’t think anyone at the PCPD had found a link between TJ and Cyrus, but Mac was getting close. Curtis flashed back to Mac showing him and Jordan where he thought TJ had been held. He told Sonny that Jordan didn’t know about their meeting. He wasn’t sure she was ready to talk about what needed to happen next, but he was. Mac told Jordan that he didn’t understand why TJ’s phone was used to text her. Jordan remembered getting false messages from TJ, saying he just needed time away to think. Finn told Willow, he wouldn’t blame her if she didn’t want to see Chase again, but did Chase explain things to her? She said Chase apologized, and she knew he was sorry, but that didn’t change anything. Sasha and Michael came out of the hospital elevator. Laura told Carly that Nelle was saying they’d conspired to give Wiley surgery without her permission, and Carly flashed back to Nelle insisting she didn’t sign the consent form, Michael saying she did, and Bobbie telling Nelle that it was in Wiley’s chart. Laura told Carly that she didn’t think the insurance covered that kind of thing, but even if they paid Nelle off, she didn’t think they could survive the negative press. Cyrus approached their table, and said it sounded dire.

Mac wondered why there was no ransom demand, and Jordan said maybe the kidnappers were biding their time. He asked, why? but she said she didn’t know, and asked if TJ remembered something more. Mac told her, no, and she said it sound like he had a theory, so lay it on her.  Curtis told Sonny, the less he knew about Sonny’s methods the better, but Jordan couldn’t be near what happened next. It was his understanding that once Cyrus’s sentence was vacated, Sonny was supposed to handle him. Wasn’t it how he maintained peace and protected his loved ones? With all due respect, Curtis wondered what was taking so long. Trina said she wanted to spend extra time with Portia, but Portia wondered if Trina was there because she didn’t want to be home alone. Trina admitted that was it, and Portia told her what happened was the exception, not the rule, and the town was kept safe by the PCPD. Trina said the Commissioner had thrown her father under the bus, and she remembered Jordan explaining that Taggert had tampered with evidence. Trina asked how Portia could trust anything to do with Jordan.

Carly told Cyrus that it was a private conversation. He said he didn’t mean to intrude, and she said, but yet he had, after eavesdropping. He told her that after being in prison for so long, he was drawn to the female siren song. They’d been talking about the future of GH, which he thought concerned everyone in the city. Laura assured him that everyone would be kept posted, and he said that erased his concerns. Carly said she must have missed the part where he’d said what he wanted, and Cyrus asked for her and Sonny’s address, saying he wanted to send them an invitation to his housewarming. They’d graciously welcomed him to Port Charles, and he wanted to return the gesture. Jason told Curtis that they couldn’t rush things, and sometimes you had to let things play out. If you forced them, they could go sideways quickly. Curtis said he had a family now, and all he could think about was how one bullet separated Trina and Cameron from life and death, and Trina calling out for the father they couldn’t save. Sonny said it couldn’t happen at a worse time, and Curtis told him that Stella had filled him in on Mike’s condition. Sonny said he was doing what he could, and he was going to solve the problem. Curtis had his word. The plan was already in motion. Mac told Jordan if the kidnapping wasn’t financially motivated, the only other reason would be to use TJ as leverage, but TJ’s only connection was to her. Jordan said TJ had been returned, and Mac asked if there had been no demands. Jordan flashed back to visiting Cyrus in prison, Cyrus taunting her, using doublespeak without actually admitting he’d kidnapped TJ, and being sent a picture of TJ in captivity. She remembered the visit from Harmony where Harmony told her that Cyrus wanted to bring a shipment through, and she was to preoccupy the police. Jordan asked Harmony what guarantee she had Cyrus would release TJ, and Harmony said the only guarantee was what Cyrus would do to him if Jordan didn’t do what he’d asked. She thought about Sonny telling her that she couldn’t stay silent, admitting to Sonny that Cyrus had her son, and Sonny saying he took Cyrus’s personal reasons for being in Port Charles to mean her. Jordan told Mac that she’d heard nothing, and Mac said he thought of her as a friend, not just a boss. She said the feeling was mutual, and he told her that if she wanted to talk, he was there.

Finn asked Sasha, what happened? and she said it was no big deal; just a bloody nose. Finn took her to an exam room, and Willow asked Michael if he wanted to talk about it. He said he and Brook were at the boxing gym, and ran into Chase and Sasha. Then Brook accidentally punched Sasha in the nose. Willow wondered why Chase hadn’t driven her there. Carly told Cyrus it was thoughtful, but their calendar was booked. Cyrus said he wanted to send the invite anyway, and she said he could send it there, or to the coffee warehouse; he knew the address. Carly flashed back to the shooting, and Cyrus asked why he would. She said it was as easy to find as a pub in Brooklyn (where there had been a parallel shooting). Cyrus hoped Laura’s schedule was more accommodating, but Laura said a major crime wave was keeping her busy; she had to pass. Cyrus was sure Sonny didn’t like to burden Carly with the details of coffee importing, but they’d reached an understanding. Laura asked, about what? and he said, a conflict of interest, but they’d cleared it up. He was planning a memorable Port Charles debut, and said Laura could expect an invite; he knew where she lived. Carly said he made it sound ominous, but he said it wasn’t intentional, and he’d put them both on his Christmas card list. He left, and Laura followed shortly after, having been put off her lunch. Curtis asked Sonny what he should do, and Sonny said, just live his life. The best thing to do was put on a normal front. What he had in mind took time. Curtis asked, how much time? and Sonny said it depended. Jason said if they attacked now, while Cyrus was parading around as the wronged party, it would draw unwanted attention. Sonny said that was the last thing he or Jordan needed. He and Cyrus had reached a truce. He needed to dig in and play nice, until he found the right moment. Curtis flashed back to Jordan wondering how she could stop Cyrus without risking the lives of her loved ones, and if she should confess that she was in on the frame. Curtis told Sonny, while he threaded this narrow needle, Jordan was stuck on a tightrope with a killer. Jordan told Mac that she appreciated his loyalty and friendship, but there was nothing she wasn’t telling him. She knew how it looked. Mac said he had to ask, and she said she was glad the right man was on the case. She had confidence he’d get to the bottom of it. Mac said he said stay on it until he did.

Curtis came by Jordan’s office, and asked if she wanted to join him in a late dinner. She said she would, but wanted to check on TJ first. Mac watched them leave. Finn examined Sasha, and said, the good news was, her nose wasn’t broken, but he wanted her to keep ice on it. She said, so much for the new face of Deception; they hadn’t even launched yet. She was grateful no paparazzi were around. She said Chase told her that Finn knew everything, and Finn said he wanted Chase to walk away from their well-intentioned disaster before it got worse. He flashed back to telling Chase to let Willow decide. Find her and fix it. Sasha said, so they should come clean, and then what? Everyone would be happy? He said it would be better than what they were doing now, and she said it would be for her and Chase, but Michael and Willow could never be happy if Nelle got Wiley. Portia told Trina that she didn’t like what Jordan had done, but Trina’s father had trusted Jordan. Even if they didn’t know his reasons, his opinion should count for something. He would have wanted Trina to move forward, and focus on her future not his past. Trina said he would have wanted to watch her grow up, and it wasn’t fair. Portia held Trina while she cried a little. Carly told Sonny that he’d just missed Cyrus pretending to be nice, and denying he was threatening. He’d wanted their address to invite them to his housewarming, She’d said  he already had it, since he’d tried to gun them down in three different locations, and then he made it clear that he knew Laura’s address. She wondered how much longer Port Charles would have to endure him. Trina told Portia that she felt better; because she had a great mom, not because she despised Jordan any less. Portia said Jordan wasn’t responsible for Taggert’s death, and Trina said, no – he is. As Cyrus walked by, she confronted him, saying she knew who he was. He said he was sorry about her father, and she said he didn’t sound sorry. He told her there must be a misunderstanding, when Curtis showed up, and told him, back off. Stay the hell away from her.

Finn told Sasha there would be some bruising, but no scar. He said he’d noticed how she’d looked at Michael. She loved Michael, and Chase loved Willow, but they thought the best solution was to play God with everyone’s lives. Michael told Willow that Chase was busy reading Brook the riot act, so he brought Sasha to the hospital. It was hard turning off the feelings. Tomorrow was the hearing, and they had to be ready. Willow assured him that they would be. Sonny went to the MetroCourt, and Carly asked him if he remembered the time they got married so she could spy on him. He said, which time? and she said, either one.  She told him everything stayed between them, and asked if there was anything she needed to know. Sonny said for now it was best to wait until she needed to know. She asked him to promise that he was going to end the craziness with Cyrus, and he promised. She said, when? and he flashed back to telling Cyrus that he could live in Port Charles, but had to conduct business elsewhere. He couldn’t move his merchandise through Sonny’s territory, and it couldn’t touch Sonny or his associates. Cyrus said they had a deal. Sonny also recalled telling Jason that he was biding his time, and when Cyrus stopped looking for Sonny out of the corner of his eye, he was going to take Cyrus out. Sonny told Carly, sooner than Cyrus thinks. Laura went to the PCPD looking for Jordan, but Mac said she’d left. He asked if he could help Laura, and she said, not unless he could get rid of Cyrus. Cyrus told Curtis they hadn’t been introduced, and Curtis said Cyrus knew good and damn well he was Jordan’s husband. Curtis knew everything about Cyrus, and told him to play his game somewhere else, and stay away from Trina and Portia.

Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles

JoshF was forty-five minutes late to see a house in Long Beach, an hour and a half outside of Beverly Hills on a good traffic day. His problem wasn’t traffic though; it was fighting with the GPS on Bobby’s car. The house hadn’t been on the market in nearly fifty years. Seller Julie, whose parents had bought the house after she left for college, met Josh, and showed him around. Casa Oceana was 7,692 square feet, and had spectacular unobstructed views. Built in 1928, it was designed by Roland Coate, who’d done a lot of Spanish revival, which included courtyards. They not only gave a house an indoor/outdoor feel, but prior to air conditioning, it was a place to cool off. Although renovations had been done in 1977-79, the owners kept the original wood beamed ceilings. The most interesting feature was in the chef’s kitchen, a 1970s ceramic induction cooktop, where the heating elements were in the tiles. There were 3 bedrooms and 7 baths, a chauffeur’s quarters that had been turned into a guest suite, and a 56,000 square foot lot. Julie was a stickler for time – I thought, geez, at least Josh had been honest; he could have said it was traffic – but she loved how Josh noticed details other brokers hadn’t, as well as being in agreement with her price point of just under $12 million. Julie gave him the listing, and he thought there would be a ton of interest because no one had seen it, but that didn’t mean it would sell. The buyer would probably have to put $5-6 million into renovations, especially since there were only 3 bedrooms. BTW, Josh’s commission would be $300K. I know they put in a lot of work, but it must be nice to make several years’ salary for most people in one shot.

Tracy’s own house was being sold, but she’d stepped away, since she couldn’t be objective. This didn’t stop her from reminding team member Gina about her house’s special features a million times. She met with Douglas/Elliman agent Tim, along with other investors at La Mirada, their property in Pasadena. Like Tracy with her own home, Tim felt he was too close to the property to be the broker, and wanted to keep it at arm’s length. The group had sunk several million into renovations, the imported tiles alone costing $10K. The house had 4 bedrooms and 3½ baths, engineered white oak flooring, and was on nearly 2 acres. Tracy told Tim, it was $10 million just for the dirt. In her interview, she said mid-century modern sold well because of its simplicity in design, making it easier to renovate, and Pasadena was on fire because of the value. They agreed on a price of $3.325 million.

JoshA and Heather had a new baby boy, Ace, and Josh said Lexie was being the best older sister. He drove to an area of Hollywood Hills that was populated by new money, and attracted young entertainment buyers. He met with seller Ken to look at a 7,456 square foot home with an open floor plan. The seller had put in $2.1 million in renovations, putting in Viking appliances, custom Italian cabinetry, and imported stone countertops. The master suite was huge, 1500 square feet, along with a 300 square foot closet. The house was 4 bedrooms and 6 baths, had a salt water pool, and was on a 26,791 square foot lot. Josh thought it was the epitome of Hollywood Hills, and perfect for someone looking for super clean and modern. Ken needed to go back to New York, and had no choice but to sell it. He wanted to build something for himself in New York, and wanted to move quickly. Josh said it was about comps and the market. The house had been on the market for four months; the listing was stale, and the market was uncertain. He thought Ken should ask for $13 million, but Ken said he’d talked to other agents who agreed with him that he should ask for $15 million, and he’d get back to Josh. In Josh’s interview, he said brokers told sellers what they wanted to hear to get the listing.

JoshF walked into his staff meeting with a bag of panama hats. He told his team about Casa Oceana, and said it had a resort feel, making him want to throw a party. There was something inspiring about it. He thought the party should be daytime casual, and planned on using airplane banner advertising to promote it.

Tracy and Gina went to a high-end vintage clothing store called Timeless Vixen, looking for outfits for the La Mirada open house. Tracy decided she would use a theme, and wanted to pattern it after photographer Slim Aarons. She said his photographs were quintessential of mid-century architecture, with pops of color, perfect for an older house. Tracy zeroed in on a piece of Balenciaga couture, a jacket once owned by Mick Jagger, going for $22K. She told Gina that she needed to sell her house quickly. Gina said she’d gotten an offer of $19 million for Tracy’s house, and Tracy said she didn’t want to play hardball, but wanted to be aggressive with her first counter offer. Her asking price was $23 million, and she countered with $21.9. She thought it was surreal talking about the sale of her own house. She was excited, but used to being on the other side. Gina said Tracy couldn’t buy the jacket yet, and Tracy asked if it could be put on layaway.

JoshF, Bobby, Wilie, and Hilary (Director of Operations) went to Casa Oceana to set up for the party, and watched Josh’s plane go by. In his interview, Josh yelled, da plane! Da plane! then told the group that he’d always wanted his name in the sky. We found out that the plane cost $2500 to rent. Good to know. Josh said they had booze, panama hats, and booze, and someone was going to buy the house for the land and view, not because it was staged. Afterward, he told us, on paper the event went wonderfully, but there were about 290 looky-loos who weren’t even qualified to buy it.

For Tracy’s La Miranda open house, she’d gotten models in full mod wardrobe and makeup, lots of yellow flowers, and fondue in the kitchen. It was a whole moment, and she was into it, even wearing a yellow outfit to match the flowers. She told potential buyers that it was one of the most stylish, functional homes in the area. When she pointed out the Jack and Jill bathroom, I had to go, ugh. Why? Why would you want to brush your teeth next to someone else? It’s not a competition. At the open house, Gina said she knew it wasn’t the ideal time, but the potential buyer for Tracy’s house had come up to her counter of $21.9 million. Tracy said she knew she would miss it, but a new chapter was exciting. She looked forward to something different.

Street artist Gregory Siff did a wall mural outside of the Altman Brothers office building. In his interview, Josh said when people took selfies, his name would be behind them. The mural was really cool – a wall of icons depicting Josh, Matt, and everything that was in their orbit. Josh had one request, that Gregory include his dog Diego, who he’d just lost. Josh got choked up, so I did too, having just lost my oldest dog in May. In Josh’s interview, he said that he’d rescued Diego fourteen years ago, and he was the first dog Josh had lost. In good times and bad, Diego had always been happy to see him. Ken called, and told Josh that he’d talked again to other brokers who thought he could get more for his house. He wanted the most money, and needed to move. Josh said he was a straight shooter and knew the area best. People were telling Ken what he wanted to hear, and it wasn’t the truth. In his interview, Josh said the house would be marketed incorrectly, and would end where it was going to end anyway. It was frustrating. He told Ken that he hoped he was proven wrong, but he wasn’t wrong often. He told Matt that it was bad for the market. It would have a domino effect, where other people would think their houses were worth more. Matt told him to focus on the future. Boy, do I understand this. I’ve gotten into arguments with people wanting me to sell there stuff on eBay for more than it’s worth, and I tell them the same thing, good luck with that.

JoshF said that Casa Oceana needed quality buyers, not just traffic. He decided to have private showings at dusk, when you could hear the ocean waves. While the house needed a facelift, he would steer the potential buyers toward the positives, like the historic character. Most of the people invited were interested in more bedrooms, and wanted to push back the price. Josh was concerned the listing was going to get stale. People just didn’t have the imagination for the property, and it was unfortunate.

Tracy had five days to find a rental, but didn’t seem too concerned. She spoke with Curt, a long-time agent at Douglas/Elliman in Beverly Hills, who said he had a celebrity client wanting to relocate to Pasadena because they wanted more space. They liked La Mirada, but the outside needed to be adjusted. They wanted a $100K landscaping job that would give them more privacy. Tracy thought $100K seemed steep to privatize, and she had other showings coming up. They’d have other offers. Curt said he was there now, and the privacy was a deal breaker. Tracy thought they had a bit to go before they got there. She called Tim, who she knew wasn’t going to spend that much landscaping to privatize the property. She suggested they cap it at $30K. He could sell the house today, and it was a good offer in record-breaking time. She told Curt $30K, Curt said $60K, and she said the maximum without uncertainty was $30K, and she was comfortable with his client walking. Curt told her, his authority was to get as much as he could, and he took the deal. Tracy told Curt, we get sh*t done.

Sonny called Josslyn and Dev downstairs, and Josslyn was worried they were in trouble. She told Sonny they’d been good about not sneaking out – for the most part. Sonny said it wasn’t about that. He had something to tell them, but was waiting for someone. Brando arrived, and Sonny said he’d asked Brando to stop by. At the hospital, Elizabeth asked Cameron how he liked his new therapist, and he said Neil had been easier to talk to. She asked if he had anything particular on his mind, and Trina appeared. Chase looked at a picture of him and Willow, when Willow knocked on his door. She said she was there to pick up her stuff. She walked past him, and he said her name. She turned back, and he said he was sorry he’d hurt her. She said, don’t. In the park, Nelle asked how Michael’s run was, but he said he had no patience for her, and asked what she wanted. She said she’d heard about Sasha, and he said it was none of her business. She thought it was ironic that he’d been keeping tabs on Nelle, but his girlfriend was the one who’d done him dirty. He told her they were done, but she said they were just getting started. Carly saw Sasha at the MetroCourt, and told Sasha that Michael blamed himself, but she blamed Sasha. She asked why Sasha had cheated.

Sonny told the kids they could now leave the house, and go back to normal, including school. Josslyn and Dev were thrilled, and Sonny told Brando that he was free to go back to Chicago. Elizabeth asked Trina how she was doing, and Trina said, pretty good, considering. (Her father – Taggert – had just been killed.) Cameron thought about when they’d kissed, and said, hey. Portia said she wanted Elizabeth’s opinion. She was thinking of applying for the head of internal medicine, and wondered if she would be stepping on any toes or get pushback. Julian tried to kick Brook out of Charlie’s, and Brook said he’d known all along the baby Lucas and Brad adopted was Michael’s. Michael told Nelle that his relationship with Sasha had nothing to do with her, but she said it reflected on the stability of the home Michael could provide for Wiley. She was willing to compromise and strike a deal. Full custody for her, and he would get visitation, in exchange for grandmas one and two keeping their robust bank accounts and jobs. Willow told Chase that she was sorry too, about her part in making happen, but it was too painful to go there right now. The best way for him to apologize was to just not. Sasha said she knew Carly was furious, but thought it best that things stay between her and Michael. Carly said Chase had gotten thrown in, and she’d believed Sasha when she’d said she loved Michael. Sasha had told her that she would never hurt him the way Nelle had, and the lies and deceit were behind her. Carly wanted to understand what changed. Sasha said Chase felt like things were moving too fast with Willow, and she felt the same. She wasn’t ready for an instafamily, and knew she would never be enough for Michael. He needed someone better; more pure. Diane had confirmed it when she said Sasha marrying Michael was a bad idea. She and Chase were both frustrated, and one thing led to another. Carly said, no. Sasha was lying.

Elizabeth went back to work, and Cameron made small talk with Trina. She asked if that was the best he could come up with. She accused him of avoiding her, and said the only thing that had changed was that they’d kissed. They needed to talk about it, and why not it couldn’t happen again. Josslyn wanted to surprise Cameron and Trina, and left with Dev. Brando said Sonny had made their day, and Sonny asked, what about him? Brando wondered if he had the option to stay. Brook told Julian that he was busted. He’d tried to cover his tracks, and that’s why he’d cut the brakes on Brad’s car, but he didn’t count on Lucas being in it. He said she was delusional, and she said he’d kept Michael’s child from him, and let Willow grieve a child that wasn’t hers. Then he tried to kill Brad. He was in so deep, but one word from her to Sonny, and his problems would be solved permanently. Michael said, so Nelle wanted him to stop fighting for his son in exchange for her dropping the bogus charges against Bobbie, Monica, and the hospital. It wasn’t going to happen. Even if she could prove anything in the lawsuit, and it left them destitute, it wouldn’t matter. They weren’t going to let her raise Wiley. She said he thought he was better than her, and he said he had to be; Wiley deserved better than her, and he was going to have it. She said he was going to be sorry. It didn’t have to be this way. Sasha told Carly that she wasn’t lying, but Carly said none of it tracked. Sasha had said before that she wanted Michael to marry Willow, and she was having an affair with Chase the whole time? She didn’t sleep with Chase. She just wanted Michael to think so. Willow left Chase’s apartment. He found her, but he didn’t fix it.

Sonny said he had no idea Brando wanted to stay. Brando said he realized he was doing a 180. In the beginning, he just wanted to go back to Chicago, but he liked Port Charles. If the deal was over, no harm, no foul, but if he could stay, pay rent, and keep the garage going, he wanted to explore that. Elizabeth told Portia that she could only speak for the nurses, but Portia had totally earned their respect; everyone was raving about her, and she obviously knew what she was doing. Elizabeth suggested she go for it. Trina said she liked Cameron and he was an awesome friend. She was thankful he’d been with her in the car and warehouse, or she would have lost her mind. She told him that PTSD messed with your emotions, and things got scrambled, but it was fine. What wouldn’t be fine was to make something out of it. Nothing had changed. He was into Josslyn, but he’d blow his chances if he convinced himself that he was into her. Cameron asked if they were good, and she said, totally. Julian told Brook, if she went to Sonny, and Sonny acted on her accusations, would she want that on her conscience? Brook said she didn’t want to wreck Lucas’s life even more with Julian’s dirty little secret. Dustin walked in, and asked, what dirty little secret would that be? Chase sat on the floor moping, and remembering better times with Willow. Carly said Michael couldn’t hurt her by marrying Willow, so she’d let him off the hook. She told Sasha not to confirm it, or she’d be obligated to tell Michael that Sasha had sacrificed her own happiness for him and Wiley, because Wiley was the most important thing, and had to be kept away from Nelle. She would have done the same thing, and admired a woman who could do that. Sasha sort of smiled, and left. Michael beat on a tree with a stick, when Willow came along. He told her that he’d run into Nelle, and gave Nelle what she wanted.

Sonny said it was up to Brando, and Brando said, cool. Sonny said if he stayed, it would also be more convincing that he was Dev’s dad, but he didn’t want Brando to feel obligated. Brando appreciated being given a choice. Cameron said Trina was 100% correct, except for him being into Josslyn. Trina said that’s why they were going to the formal in the first place, so he could dance with Josslyn. He said Josslyn wasn’t into him, but it wasn’t a big deal if they remained just friends. He told Trina, hug time, and Josslyn and Dev showed up. Josslyn asked if they were interrupting something. Dustin asked Brook, what about Julian’s dirty little secret? Julian said Brook was exaggerating, and Brook said there was no use hiding. They needed to tell the truth. She and Julian weren’t actually related, but they had people in common, like Lucas. She hadn’t known he was Lucas’s biological father, and Julian propositioned her; he’d thought she was a hooker. Julian said he’d offered to pay for her time, nothing else. Brook said if she mentioned it to Lucas, it would be awkward. So far, she’d refrained from doing that, but it wouldn’t hurt if Julian was nicer to her. Chase brooded some more, and had more flashbacks. Sasha came by to check on him, and he told her that Willow wasn’t coming back. Michael told Willow that Nelle had offered to drop the suit in exchange for full custody, and Willow said, Wiley’s grandmothers would go bankrupt first. Michael said he’d told Nelle that, then she started with her BS, and he lost it. What if she’d been recording it? He kept telling himself not to engage, but he couldn’t help it, and it made him furious (WOTD). Willow said, good for him.

Dustin said he thought he and Brook could have their song ready in time for the Nurses Ball. Brook still couldn’t get over the fact he was a high school teacher, and he said he had bills to pay; he wasn’t a Quartermaine. Besides, he loved teaching. He was passionate about it, like she was with her music. Brando told Sonny, he was fine with helping out, but what he’d resented was being told how to live with no say. He’d screwed up in the past, and taken control of his life, and responsibility for his own choices. Sonny gave him an opportunity for something good, and he didn’t want to waste it. Trina told Josslyn and Dev that Cameron was a complete idiot, but had smart friends to comfort him. Cameron lied that he’d been late to practice, and made the coach mad, when the coach was writing one of his letters of recommendation for college. Trina said she told him that he’d make it up. Dev said their house arrest had been lifted, and Josslyn added that Sonny’s guys were still driving them, but they were free. She was dying to go to the movies. Cameron said, not a chick flick, and Josslyn teased him about secretly loving them. Nelle went to the MetroCourt, and told Carly hat she’d just run into Michael. He’d been abusive and threatening, and she intended on telling her lawyer. She’d been willing to compromise, but Michael refused. She was hoping to avoid all out warfare, but that wasn’t happening. Michael was combative, and the court was going to hear all about it. Chase told Sasha that he was waiting to feel like he did the right thing, so it would make the pain of losing Willow bearable. Right now, all he could think about was the future he’d started to dream of that was never coming true. Willow told Michael, it’s not like it was court. Nelle was an evil psycho, and it didn’t matter. If he played along, she was hateful, and if he fought her, she was still hateful. She wished she had been there. She would have yelled at Nelle too, for everything Nelle had done to her, Michael, and Wiley. If not for Nelle being a walking horror show, Michael wouldn’t have freaked out, and they wouldn’t be heartbroken right now. But it didn’t matter how sad she was, or how much she wished things were different. The only thing that mattered was Wiley’s happiness. Michael said Nelle was the worst, and suggested Willow whack the tree; it made him feel better. He told her, give it a good whack, and she did, saying she hated Nelle.

Dustin and Brook worked on their song at Charlie’s. Sonny said Brando was welcome to stay. They were family, plus he owed Brando. Brando had saved Carly, and stepped up for Dev. Sonny was sorry he’d given Brando no choice, but what Brando had said about respect and free will was important to Sonny. Now that the crisis was over, it was in Brando’s hands, and Sonny would respect what Brando decided. Brando said he was grateful. Portia told Elizabeth she was officially in the running. She’d applied for the position, and had an interview. She thanked Elizabeth for her support. Josslyn told Trina that Cameron seemed happy, and she wondered why. Trina was sure they’d figure it out, and Josslyn said Trina seemed happy too. Trina said she thought she was. Things were still horrible, but her BFF was off house arrest, so things were looking up. They kids left for the movies all happy. Carly asked if Nelle had a recording or footage of Michael’s supposed abusive behavior. Nelle said, no, and asked if Carly didn’t care about how the son she’d raised was behaving. Carly said, not really, and Nelle said Carly would never see her grandchild again, and Bobbie and Monica were going to lose their licenses, all because Michael refused to be flexible. Carly said no one could predict what the judge would do, but she had a good feeling about it, and Nelle walked out.

Sasha told Chase that she was waiting too, for the feeling that it was worth it. Whichever one of them felt it first, they’d let the other know. She said, if it made him feel any better, Carly had figured it out, and thought they were doing the right thing. So did she. Chase said if he hadn’t felt that way, he wouldn’t have been able to do it. Willow said she felt better, and Michael said, better to hit the tree than Nelle. Willow said it depended on who you asked. He apologized for the havoc in her life, but Willow said she didn’t regret it. Wiley was in her life, and she couldn’t be sorry for that, but she couldn’t stand that Nelle might win custody. Michael said they wouldn’t let her.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Kyle visits Camille, hanging out with friend Kimber, at Camille’s new place in Malibu. Camille says she and Dave are living it up, and watching the seals, and we see the view of seals on the beach from their bedroom. She said it’s been healing after their house burned down, and we flash back to the aftermath of the fire. In Kyle’s interview, she says they haven’t spoken in months, and we flash back to the reunion, when Camille got jazzed about LVP and called them the Witches of Eastwick. Kyle says Camille reached out to her, and we see a clip of Kyle telling Mauricio that she was taken aback, but would like to hear what Camille has to say. Camille says, they’ve both been hurt, and she wants to hear Kyle out. Kyle says she didn’t know where the anger toward her came from. Camille liked mean tweets toward the women, and alienated everybody. She can’t trust Camille to be genuine. She says one thing to one of them, and something else to another. In her interview, Kyle says, Camille has a big opinion on Twitter, but says nothing to your face. She tells Camille that she can respect how Camille feels, and Camille says she felt like she was being attacked. She’d just lost her house, and enough is enough. In her interview, Camille says she felt like they were the witches in Macbeth, and she was their common enemy. Camille said Kyle didn’t stand up for her, and Kyle says she felt like she couldn’t. Camille apologizes for the Tweets, and Kyle says they’ve been down this road before. They can surmount the problems again, but she wonders how they get to a place where Camille is with everyone in the group. In her interview, Kyle says she cares about Camille, and would like to get past it. She thinks the others would be open to fixing things, but Camille has to do some work. Kyle tells Camille, let her think about it.

Denise meets LisaR for lunch, and at first, the silence is deafening. LisaR laughs, and Denise says she wanted to meet privately because they have a long history, and she didn’t want to get into anything with the entire group. It hurt her feelings when LisaR called her a hypocrite in Santa Barbara. LisaR asks where the line is drawn in being open, and Denise says she has a line with what she shares with her kids. LisaR says Denise has been open about sex with the group, and Denise says she doesn’t want to share those moments with her kids. LisaR says, if it had just been kept between Denise and her daughter, but it wasn’t. We flash back to Denise telling Erika that Sami asked about a threesome, and also talking to Sutton about it. LisaR says she needs Denise to take responsibility. She used her kids by bringing them into it. In LisaR’s interview, she says the Denise she knows Denise is an open book, but now she’s offended about a threesome conversation, and she’s using the kids. Denise says she’s not upset, but LisaR says her energy isn’t matching what she’s saying. It feels like Denise is hostile and angry. I know I am. She tells Denise, why not be honest with Kyle? She knows Denise doesn’t like her. Denise says she does, and we flash back to Denise saying Kyle is judgmental and self-centered, and she has the least connection with Kyle. In LisaR’s interview, she says, you can’t run; you said it. LisaR wonders where they are now, and asks, what happened? Denise says everyone started on Aaron, and LisaR says, the women can be rough, but they usually don’t just come at someone. Something had to be said to create it. Denise says they didn’t want be there with paparazzi outside, and LisaR says it didn’t help that they huffed off. Denise says she doesn’t feel they did (neither do I – I have no idea why these women keep saying they stormed out). Whether the women believe it or not, is on them. She and LisaR have a long history, and LisaR knows what Denise has done and sacrificed for her kids. She can take it, but as it goes on and on, the kids are hearing it on and on, and that’s why she wants to drop it. In her interview, LisaR says there’s already been a lot about Charlie in the press, and she understands Denise doesn’t want the kids to hear it, but they watch TV. They heard Denise talking about a happy ending. She thinks Denise is using the show to change her image from last season, but the show is about being honest and showing their feelings. She can’t control it. She asks if Denise is going to Kyle’s party, and Denise says, if she can make it. LisaR thinks it’s a lesson learned, and Denise says she learned a lesson. In her interview, Denise says the lesson she learned is that she knows where she stands with LisaR. She can’t trust her like she used to. BTW, they got some skinny fries that look really good.

Kyle frets, talking to party planner Glenn. In her interview, she says they’re raising money for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. When Mauricio was born, he had a blood disease, and spent a good part of his life in a children’s hospital, so they want to put energy and effort into that. She frets to assistant Ashley. Dorit arrives, and she, Kyle, and the morally corrupt Faye Resnick make a toast. Kyle tells Dorit that Camille is coming, and Dorit makes a remark about it being fire season that I don’t find funny. Kyle says Camille acknowledges her mistakes, and wants to make it right. She feels bad about what she said. Dorit says she’ll be civil and cordial, but can’t believe what Camille says. In Dorit’s interview, she says, Camille crossed lines, and there’s no going back for them. She’d be the biggest idiot imaginable if said they could be friends. She asks Kyle about the silent auction, and Kyle thanks her for getting some donations of VIP packages. In her interview, Dorit says Kyle is lucky to have a friend like her. Dorit tells Kyle that she doesn’t want what happened with Denise to happen again, and Kyle says she thinks Denise is avoiding confrontation.

Garcelle goes to a meeting with the company producing her script. Potential director Leena is giving her pitch. In Garcelle’s interview, everything in her drives her to work until she’s dead. The story Leena presents is very different from Garcelle’s script, and in her interview, Garcelle says they expected Leena to tell them how she was going to shoot it, not give them a completely different movie. Hell no. It’s nuts. Garcelle says Leena diverted from the script, and it’s an issue for her. In her interview, Garcelle tells us that it’s a big deal for her to speak up. When she was in acting class, it was hard for her get mad. She needed to learn how to stand up for herself. She tells Leena that she feels it’s not the script she wrote. In her interview, she says, she never dreamt of having the power she has now, and you can’t shut her up. Leena leaves, and it’s suggested Garcelle direct, but she says she has enough on her plate.

Kyle wonders what to wear to her party. The backyard is set up with an amazing, huge tent that has chandeliers inside. Dorit tells PK, tonight should be interesting. Aaron got himself into a sticky situation with the girls. In attempting to defend his wife, he inserted himself in a way that made them uncomfortable. Maybe PK could pull him aside, and have a quiet word. PK says, in his experience, it’s best to help by supporting, and not fighting your wife. In PK’s interview, he says, it’s hard for a guy to watch his wife go through something if he thinks she’s an innocent victim. When saw himself, he wondered why he did it, but some guys have to find out the hard way.

Erika, LisaR, and Eileen share a limo. Eileen says she’s been making a Christmas movie, and LisaR tells her about what happened with Aaron. Eileen says, when husbands defend their wives, it can come off bullying. In their limo, Denise asks Aaron if she’s throwing him into the lion’s den. Erika says she still doesn’t get where Aaron and Denise are coming from. In her interview, she says she lives with a smart man, and she’s over being mansplained, especially by someone else’s husband. Denise tells Aaron, be positive. In Denise’s interview, she says if the women are willing to hear her, she’ll talk all night. Aaron wonders if it’s a full moon, and says he’s wondered that the last eight times.

Kyle wants the blue light on in the pool, and Mauricio says he’s been working on it for the last two hours. She wonders who they’re going to call, and he says, Ghostbusters, because he’s probably high. Kyle says they have all these high-tech things; why can’t they just have an on/off button? She oversees last minute touches, and the guests start arriving. In Kyle’s interview, she says the party cost six figures. If they don’t make $200K, she should have just given the money to the hospital instead of having the party. Camille comes in with Kimber, and Kyle says, time to have a cocktail. Camille says she’s glad to be there, but nervous to see the girls. Mauricio finally fixes the pool light, and Kyle is thrilled. Dorit says hi to Kimber, but gives Camille the cold shoulder. The women, minus Camille and Kimber, look at the auction items – everything from an autographed basketball to a VIP Coachella package. I guess whoever got that didn’t get their money’s worth. Kyle tells them Camille is there, and the world stops spinning for a millisecond. Camille tells Kimber, it’s weird seeing everyone. Eileen asks if LisaR is on good terms with Camille. We flash back to Camille giving LisaR the (probably well-deserved) business. LisaR and Eileen walk over to where Camille and Kimber are. LisaR tells Camille that she was an a-hole on Twitter. Camille says, okay, and LisaR says, but it’s nice to see her. Here’s where this should have stopped, but LisaR continues, saying she’d like to speak with Camille, but she was an a-hole on Twitter. Camille had said they were like a coven, and it didn’t have to be public. Camille said she was dishing out what she got, and LisaR said she wasn’t rehashing anything, so they’re good. Camille says LisaR just called her an asshole; she thinks she’ll pass. LisaR storms off, and Camille tells Eileen, she’s not there to be attacked. In Camille’s interview, she says, who’s the a-hole? It’s LisaR. She’ll have to Tweet about it later. LisaR tells the other women, she had a moment with Camille, and in her interview, says, Camille is like Denise; another person who doesn’t take responsibility for their own behavior. Camille says LisaR can keep being a nasty mean girl if she wants.

Garcelle brings her new boo to the party. In her interview, she says she must love the name Michael, but there’s a difference. There’s white Michael, and chocolate Michael. When she got married to Michael Nilon, the Black community said she was selling out for her kind, and she felt like she had to prove her Blackness. There’s still a connection, no matter what color his skin is, but Black is good. She tells PK that she and chocolate Michael met twenty-two years ago. In Kyle’s interview, she says when you have couple friends, and there’s a divorce, you’re made to feel like you have to choose sides. She and Mauricio have tried to keep a balance with Paul Nasiff and Adrienne Maloof. It’s not a stretch to say they were enemies. Yeah, it’s not a stretch to say Adrienne was a big fat liar about Paul, saying he abused the kids and then taking it back when she realized she wasn’t getting away with it. They’re both at the party, with their new significant others. Kyle’s sister Kathy Hilton is there, as well as Kris Jenner. Kyle shows off a tuxedo from her line, and it is really pretty, with sequins on the jacket and a huge black chiffon bow for a tie. UGH BRANDI WALKS IN, along with friend Mia. In her interview, Kyle says she and Brandi are in a good place. There was a time they couldn’t stand each other. We flash back to some pretty dicey times, and Kyle says Brandi posted a video of herself, crying. We see it, and she’s basically whining about what she didn’t have and Kyle did, and saying that’s the reason she’s mean. Kyle says she thinks Brandi is a good person; she’s just misunderstood. That’s because Kyle is an idiot. Are you kidding me? Maybe there really is a good person somewhere in there, but I’m not misunderstanding. She needs years of therapy to unearth that person. Aaron and Denise arrive next, which is no surprise.

LisaR has no urge to talk to Denise, since she’s not being honest. She’d made it sound like the women had gone after Aaron. I guess outnumbered means nothing to this group. It’s no wonder people get defensive. We see a clip of LisaR telling Sutton that Denise felt attacked, and said there were paparazzi outside. Sutton tells LisaR, there weren’t any paparazzi. In LisaR’s interview, she says what Sutton said was the opposite of what Denise said. Again, even if Denise was just paranoid about the paps, it’s understandable. Maybe someone takes a picture of Sutton now and then, but I seriously doubt they hound her like they do Denise. Kyle greets Denise and Aaron, and in her interview, says, you know when you get on a plane, and eyeball where the exit is? That’s Denise at a party. Denise says hello to Brandi, who says she’s getting drunk already.

Kyle takes the stage, explaining the auction is to support the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, but they’re going to have so much fun. The auction starts, and PK tells Aaron that he heard Aaron got involved with a bit of  drama. Aaron says, it’s all good. Garcelle wins a five-night vacation in Mexico, and Dorit wins a golf VIP package. The auctioneer asks for a straight-up $25K donation, and Kris raises her paddle. PK says they want to support their wives, but Aaron doesn’t want to get into it with the women. If your wife climbs up a tree, you need to help her down, not help her climb up more. Aaron says, agreed, and PK asks if he’ll be putting that into action. Aaron asks, what kind of action? and in his interview, PK says he gets the feeling that his input is not wanted. Aaron didn’t appreciate his brilliance. Gee, ya think? The text says they raised over $300K for the hospital, so Kyle made her goal and more.

Denise asks to talk to Teddi privately. They sit on opposite couches, and Denise starts to say several of the women said they were upset because she walked away. In the meantime, Kyle asks if Camille has said hello to Denise, and drags her into the room. In Teddi’s interview, she says, where’s the escape hatch on this couch? She needs out of there. Camille congratulates Teddi, and for some ungodly reason, Denise invites Camille to sit down. Camille starts to talk pregnancy stuff to Teddi, when Teddi says Camille doesn’t need to do pleasantries. She knows Camille doesn’t like her, and she doesn’t trust what Camille has to say. Camille says, okay, and Denise looks sad.

Next time, Brandi tells Denise and Aaron that she wants to be a thruple with them, LisaR plans a group trip to Rome, Erika and Denise talk one-on-one, and Brandi says Denise isn’t who she pretends to be.

A friend of mine and I agreed that when we enjoy the show the most is when they’re having a good time together. I don’t mind a little hair-pulling, but I can’t stand the constant ganging up mean girl stuff that’s been happening for the past couple of seasons. If I want to see that, I can watch Jersey Shore or Big Brother or something.
