What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital – Thursday

Maxie tells Nathan that she dreamt Claudette slithered out of their lives. She asks him if this could be a reality, but he says Claudette made it clear she’s not going anywhere.

At the MetroCourt, Nina works her phone, trying to get information on Valentin. Claudette approaches her. Nina thought she’d left town and tells her that she’s not getting her job back. Claudette says that’s okay, she’s found other opportunities.

Griff gets a message from Claudette saying she has a surprise for him. He thinks he’s had enough surprises from her and throws the message away. He checks in with Finn who blows him off and goes back to his research. He thinks he might be close to an answer and one step closer to saving everyone who has the disease that he does.

Yet another memorial service is held for Nicholas. The family gathers at Windemere afterward.

Sonny visits Alexis. She asks what time it is and realizes she missed Nicholas’s funeral. That’s okay. There will probably be another one.

Nathan tells Maxie that Claudette is only a threat if they let her be. He says his life begins and ends with her now.

Finn talks to his dead wife, saying he might be joining her soon, and Roxie will be the most well cared for bearded dragon in the world, since he has no one else. He starts talking about Hayden and how she only took him on as a project. Valerie interrupts him. She’s conducting a sweep and he asks her not to upset any research. She finds a cuff-link on the floor, but Finn says it’s not his. How many men wear cuff-links to work there?

At Windemere, Hayden thanks Curtis for being there for her. He asks if she wants him to stick around, but she says it’s going to be a bunch of family stuff, so he leaves. Hayden tells the others that there’s food if they want, but no one is hungry. She suggests they talk about Nicholas. Lulu gets nasty and Laura tells her to get something to eat. Maybe a Snickers bar? Laura tells her that Nicholas would want her to go on with her life and be happy.

Sonny noses around. Alexis mimics leaving a message for Laura, apologizing for missing the funeral, but saying that Nicholas is not really dead, and Cassadines show up when you least expect it. My point exactly. Sonny asks her what’s going on with her. She tells him about Kristina finding out she talked to Parker and giving her a rundown of how she’s failed as a parent. I guess Sonny can tell she has a hangover because he says he’s never known her to drown her problems in booze. He says if she doesn’t tell him what’s going on, he’ll drag it out of her.

Alexis says she’s not in the mood to give an update on her life. Sonny says he needs her to look at renewing the lease for the coffee kiosk. She says she’s not a lawyer anymore and doesn’t know if she ever will be again.

Laura apologizes to Hayden for Lulu’s behavior and thanks her for not trashing Nicholas. Hayden says you always think you have plenty of time to fix things and then find out you don’t.

Curtis sees Finn at the hospital. They talk about Hayden. Finn says she never mentioned the funeral. Curtis says it wouldn’t be like her to ask for emotional support, but next time Finn sees her, be nice. He asks if Finn has seen Valerie and he says she’s in the lab.

Valerie pokes around the lab. Someone whacks her in the back of the head.

Alexis tells Sonny what happened at the hearing. She asks him not to tell anyone, since she wants the girls to hear it from her. Nina rings the bell. Alexis asks Nina what she wants. She tells them that Julian tried to escape last night.

Hayden wonders what Nicholas would think about her and Laura bonding. Doc says he’d take comfort in it, but I think he’d be amused. Hayden’s mother calls, asking about the prenup and how Nicholas’s death will affect it. Laura hears Hayden talking about a settlement, and Laura comes up behind her taking the phone and saying Hayden will have to go through her to get anything. Seriously though, is she supposed to exist on air? Thy were married and he tried to have her killed for goodness’ sake.

Maxie meets Lulu at the MetroCourt. New old Maxie is looking really good. She must have gone on vacation during contract negotiations. I am so glad to see her back. I wasn’t crazy about the substitute actress. And she was a brunette, making me think that Nathan was cheating every time I saw them together. Lulu says she can’t wait for the wedding. Maxie says her either, if it ends up happening. Lulu asks why it wouldn’t, and Maxie says, Claudette.

Griff shows up for a staff meeting and only Claudette is there. She says she has a new job at the hospital.

Nathan and Dante discuss the investigation. Nathan says they need a break in the case before more people die.

Curtis finds Valerie lying on the floor of the lab.

Nina explains how she found Julian trying to get the keys to the cell. Sonny tells her the guard must have been bribed and left the keys. Nina says that’s why she gave the keys to the desk sergeant. That gets a thumbs up from Sonny, who  says he’s going to stop that psychopath and leaves. Nina tells Alexis that Julian said she’s still in love with him.

Curtis yells for help. Curtis asks what happened and Valerie tells him. He says she probably has a concussion and they should call Jordan, but treatment before procedure. Valerie can’t find the cuff-link. There was a found cuff-link the first time Nicholas died. I don’t think there’s a connection, but geez, they reused that plot device pretty quickly.

Nathan asks Dante to be his best man. Dante asks if he wants a Vegas bachelor party, but Nathan says they’ve bumped up the wedding date. He tells Dante about Claudette planting herself in Port Charles.

Maxie says she’s afraid Nathan wanting to get married quickly is just a reaction to Claudette. Lulu tells Maxie that she should trust their love. She says Maxie said the same thing to her once, and she was right.

Griff asks if this is a joke. Claudette says Crimson was a bad fit and GH feels right, as she puts her feet up on the conference table. Griff says he can’t wait for her to make things right; he’ll have to do it himself. He’s going to tell Nathan that he’s the one Nathan shot. He can ease Nathan’s guilt and open his eyes about Claudette.

Laura accuses Hayden of only wanting the money .Hayden tries to explain that it was her mother pressing the matter, but Laura won’t listen. She tells Hayden she’s going to see how hard Laura can fight for her family. As Hayden is about to leave the house, she runs into Finn.

Finn gives her a cactus. He says he didn’t know what she’d like and didn’t strike him as a bouquet of sunflowers kind of girl. He asks why she didn’t mention Nicholas’s funeral to him and suggests they go for a drink.

Laura complains about Hayden to Doc. Laura takes the blame for all the troubles in the world and says she failed her son, sacrificing him for her own freedom. She cries over the years they lost and now he’s gone. Doc says Nicholas was out of her control. She says she didn’t protect him and made the wrong choices. Like how old is/was Nicholas? 55? And she’s crying about this now?

Lulu tells Maxie not to give Claudette the power by focusing on her. She and Maxie leave to do wedding chores.

Claudette tells Griff that Nathan isn’t over her and he’ll kill Griff if he confesses. I have a hard time believing Griff would buy that, since he knows Maxie pretty well. He doesn’t believe Claudette coming to Port Charles was a coincidence. Claudette admits she had a Nathan agenda, but says Griff changed that. She wants him to tell her he loves her because she never stopped loving him. This chick needs to make up her mind.

Valerie says she had the cuff-link in her pocket. Curtis looks around, but finds nothing. Valerie thinks whoever knocked her out, took it. Curtis wonders who would knock her out over a cuff-link. She says someone who would know it was evidence to a crime. Great PI work on Curtis’s part.

Alexis wonders why Nina is telling her about Julian and Nina relays their conversation. She says he only sees his own reality and believes Alexis still loves him.

Sonny meets Rick. They make small talk. Sonny asks what kind of man power Rick has and if they’re discreet. Rick says he has a good team. Sonny asks how long it will take to round them up. Rick says he’ll make arrangements immediately and asks what the job is. Sonny says, Julian.

Laura apologizes to Doc, who says that’s not necessary and she’s reacting normally. She says she has to pull herself together for Spencer. Doc tells her that she’s pulled together enough already. She says he’s her friend but doesn’t have to be her therapist. He asks if that’s all they are to each other and they kiss.

Hayden and Finn go to the MetroCourt. Hayden tells him he seems different and asks if he’s in a good mood. He says he’s made progress in his research.

Curtis wonders why the killer would be in Finn’s lab. Curtis says he believes Valerie, but she’ll have to do better than just conjecture. I have to add that in all this time, the help Curtis yelled for never came.

Griff says they can’t go back to what was – it was a test and he failed. Claudette says he doesn’t really feel guilty about Nathan or his vows. His guilt is about not being true to himself about loving her. She says the only solution is to be with her the way he’s always wanted. Narcissistic much?

Maxie walks Nathan to the conference room where he’s supposed to make an update.

Griff kisses Claudette. No, Griff! No!

Sonny tells Rick that Julian is coward, but has resources. Rick asks if Sonny thinks Julian is going to run and Sonny says yes. Sonny tells Rick to find any information, things like bank transfers or people helping Julian. Sonny says if the court won’t exact justice, he will. Go, Sonny…Go, Sonny…Go, Sonny…

Tomorrow, Sam tells Alexis about the pregnancy, Doc apologizes to Laura, and Jake tells Elizabeth that daddy has big news.

General Hospital – Friday

Paul tells Jordan the investigation seems to be at a standstill and he’s wondering if they’re doing everything possible to catch the hospital killer.

Jason brings Jake to Elizabeth after they’ve had breakfast. Jake tells her he ate a record amount of pancakes, but it doesn’t even come close to the news daddy has. I’m sure Jason appreciates that.

Alexis asks the eternal question we all do – with a million channels, why is there still nothing to watch on cable? Sam checks in on her, asking if she’s sick. Alexis says she’s just hung over. Sam asks if she needs anything and Alexis says what would help is hearing something good and asks how Sam is. Sam runs upstairs, sick.

Doc apologizes to Laura for kissing her and says it won’t happen again.

Griff and Claudette have a mini make-out session. He says he’s missed her. Maxie and Nathan stand in the doorway, gaping.

Franco asks Valerie about the investigation. Valerie can’t tell him anything, but he says if he’s no longer a suspect, to tell Monica so that she lifts his suspension. Valerie says he’ll be the first to know about any changes.

Jason tells Jake that he’d like to talk to Elizabeth alone. He asks about the funeral. Elizabeth says she kind of checked out because she can’t believe Nicholas is gone. I don’t believe it either. She asks what the news is, and he confirms that Sam is pregnant and adds she’s malaria free. He says he doesn’t want to tell the kids until she’s past her first trimester. He also tells Elizabeth that they’re getting married.

Sam comes back downstairs and Alexis has already guessed she’s pregnant. She says it’s about time the Davis girls got some good news. Sam is glad Julian will never see the baby.

Laura asks Doc why he’s apologizing. He says he obviously overstepped. Laura says it’s okay and it wasn’t torture. She wasn’t expecting it, but she knew there were romantic possibilities with them, and she kissed him as much as he did her.

Claudette tells Nathan and Maxie they weren’t expecting to see them. Maxie says, obviously. She asks Griff if he’s going to stray, why Claudette, and if he even knows who she is. Nathan says he thinks Griff does.

Nathan asks what the name of Griff’s parish was. He talks about Claudette being a devout church goer and ends up revealing that Griff was the man he shot. Maxie says she trusted and confided in Griff and asks how he could let her go on like that and not tell her.

Doc is surprised Laura wanted to kiss him back. Laura asks if he doesn’t think it’s been building. She says the wild goose chase into her past pointed her toward her future. He thinks she means she wants Luke back, and says he’d be a fool to stand in the way. FOr being a smart guy, he’s a real dimbulb.

Elizabeth says she’s happy for Jason and Sam, and wishes them nothing but the best. Jason says it means a lot to him. He leaves, and Elizabeth makes a sad face. Franco approaches her and asks if she’s all right. She says no.

Sam and Alexis decide not to dwell on Julian. Sam tells Alexis about getting engaged. Alexis is happy for her and Danny. The doorbell rings. It’s Diane, appalled at what Alexis is wearing. Alexis tells Diane that Sam is pregnant and getting married. Diane says Alexis will need a project to fill her time. Sam wonders what she means by that.

Jordan says they don’y have any leads. Valerie enters and says they do. Yeah. A missing cuff-link.

Laura tells Doc she hopes he’s more intuitive with his patients. Good one, Laura! She says her past is her past, and she’s concentrating on her future, which isn’t Luke. Doc says he was sleep walking for years, trying to fix a broken marriage, and then stopped feeling anything, but Laura brought him back to life. She tells him he told her that on the plane. He says now she knows it wasn’t just the drugs and fever – it’s how he really feels.

Franco says he’s there to fight the suspension, but what’s up with Elizabeth? She says she doesn’t want to talk about it, but then tells him about Jason and Sam. She says she must seem pathetic, but it’s one thing to know it’s over, and another to see him move on. Franco says he’s sorry.

Alexis tells Sam about the hearing and her license suspension. She says she’ll find something else to do for a year and then go back to practicing. Sam says she knows Alexis must feel awful, but Alexis says she’ll live with it. Sam leaves and Alexis tells Diane thanks a lot.

Valerie tells Jordan about the cuff-link. Jordan asks if she could sketch it. She says it was made out of some kind of coin. I would think Valentin, but he’s in custody.

Griff says the affair was a low point in his life and now he feels worse. He says that’s why he didn’t report the shooting. Nathan asks why he didn’t at least come and find him? Griff says no matter what, Nathan was still a cop who shot an unarmed man.

Diane apologizes. She says Alexis can’t hide something like that from her girls who are her support system. She says it’s a setback, but it’s how you handle a setback that’s the important thing, and Alexis would say the same to her. She tells Alexis to go get dressed.

Sam talks to Jason about Alexis. He’s amused about the hangover. She tells him about the suspension and all the mess that’s happened because of Julian. She says she despises him and everything she thought she felt for him was based on lies. Jason says he’ll be in prison soon, and they won’t have to think about him. Sam says she doesn’t want to think about him now; she just wants to count her blessings.

Franco tells Elizabeth she’s everything and if Jason can’t recognize that, he doesn’t know what to say. She says she loved Jason and wanted to be his happily ever after. Franco says she deserves to be with someone who puts her first and treats her right. She says someone like him? and he says yes. He tells her no matter what, he wants her to be happy and believes it will happen. She says she wants him to be happy too. Mutual admiration society.

Valerie looks online and finds the coin. It’s a Roman coin, and Paul says it’s used in a lot of designs. He knows this stuff because he is a snappy dresser. Jordan says they’ll check out the antique stores in the area. She tells Valerie to go get some rest.

Nathan says what happened wasn’t because of him, it was because of Griff. Claudette tells him not to blame Griff, but blame her. Okay. I’m down with that.

Laura thanks Doc for making her smile and forget what she lost for a while. He suggests they stretch that out and go on a date.

Curtis tucks Valerie in with an ice pack. She says they make a great team, and I think of when Elaine’s finance tells her that in The Graduate. She tells him that she kept him at arm’s length, but it had nothing to do with him; she was gun shy after Dante. He asks how she feels now, and she says she could trust him with her life. She says he must have been a good cop. He says he was, but he couldn’t stay out of his own way. He says he can tell she’s going to be a fine cop. He starts to leave. She asks him to stay and they kiss.

Sam lets Jason know that she told Alexis and Diane about the pregnancy. She adds she told Alexis about the engagement as well, and says Alexis was happy about it. Jason says he told Jake about them getting married, but not about the baby yet. He says he also talked to Elizabeth and everything is cool.

Franco says he has time before his meeting. Elizabeth is glad he’s appealing the decision. She says his patients miss him. Jake shows up with two candy bars and gives one to Franco. He tells Franco that his dad is getting married.

Nathan says they’re both cheaters since Griff was married to the church. Claudette apologizes to Griff, saying she didn’t want everything to come out this way. Griff tells Nathan he forgives him and Nathan slams him up against the wall. Geez, I wonder what he would have done if Griff held a grudge?

Curtis and Valerie get busy. I feel a song part coming on… Yep, I’m right.

Jordan is also going to send the picture of the coin to GH to see if anyone recognizes it. She tells Paul it looks familiar to her.

Doc wants to go on their own date and not something Helena dictated. Laura concurs and says she has to change. Doc suggests dinner at the MetroCourt. Where else? He tells her he’ll see her later.

Diane approves Alexis’s outfit, and Alexis says she’s all dressed up with no place to go. Diane suggest lunch at you-know-where and says they could use some Bloody Marys. I see Diane is a good influence for Alexis. That year will fly by.

Franco tells Jake he already has the world’s greatest mom and leaves. Elizabeth asks if Jake is okay with Sam now. He says she makes Jason happy the way Franco makes her happy.

Maxie reminds Nathan he’s a cop. He lets Griff go and walks out. Claudette tells Griff now that everything is out in the open they can be together. He says they can never be together. She says he still has feeling for her He says when they’re together, people get hurt and it can’t happen again.

Maxie follows Nathan, asking what just happened. Nathan says Griff has been there all along, lying to the both of them, how was he supposed to react? Maxie says he still loves Claudette and wouldn’t have done that if he wasn’t jealous.

On Monday, Kiki grills Ava, Laura wants Spencer to go away to school, and Jordan is in danger.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital – Thursday

Sam leaves a message for Finn, wanting to know about her test result for malaria. Elizabeth drops Jake off and Sam says she’ll probably see her later at the hospital. Elizabeth asks if everything is okay.

Laura visits Doc in the hospital. He thanks her for saving his life. She tells him he sang her praises on the plane, but he doesn’t remember much.

Ava cleans up her apartment. She sees the newspaper and has a flash back to Nicholas being shot. Someone jiggles her door handle. She draws a gun, but it’s Holt, saying he was just checking on her. She doesn’t believe that’s why he’s there and he says they have to talk about Julian.

Alexis shows up at Julian’s holding cell. She asks to talk to him inside and the guard lets her in because they’re very lax there. Julian says it means a lot to him. She tells him she wants to tear up the divorce papers and she still wants to be his wife. What the blip is she up to?

Kristina chats with Aaron at the coffee shop. Or she tries. She asks if he’s going to ignore her except for shop talk. She says rather than avoid each other, they should discuss what happened.

Ava says Julian asked her to help him escape, but that’s a no. Holt says that she’s head of the organization now. She says that’s not happening either, but if someone were to help Julian escape, she wouldn’t be opposed.

Alexis tells Julian that she can’t give up, even though the girls threatened to cut her off. Julian wonders how she can forgive him. She says once she gets him out, they’ll go somewhere no one knows them and start over. She says she can’t live without him and they kiss. Julian wakes up. Ha-ha-ha! They fooled me.

Jordan wishes Alexis good luck at the bar association hearing. She tells Alexis that she was never a target and the goal was to get Julian to confess. She says Alexis wearing a wire has to mean something to the bar. Alexis says they’re going to get her on breach of ethics for not suggesting Carrrlos take a deal.

Sam tells Elizabeth about Jason possibly having malaria and that she’s waiting for her own test results. Elizabeth says it’s not passed from person to person, and the only way someone can pass it on to a child is in utero during pregnancy.

Lucy is stopped from going into Doc’s room. The nurse tells her he’s only allowed one visitor at a time and Laura is already in there. Lucy says she can’t be stopped. The nurse says maybe she can’t stop her, but security can.

Doc asks if he said anything embarrassing and if he did, blame the drugs and the fever. Laura flashes back to their exchange, but she tells him no, he didn’t. He tells her she’s the best kind of friend. Lucy comes bursting in with balloons and a stuffed duck. The nurse comes in behind her, apologizing, but Doc says it’s cool.

Elizabeth tells Sam that there would be symptoms if she had malaria and asks if she’s feeling okay. Sam says yes, but then runs to the bathroom. It’s not from malaria though.

Aaron is miffed about Kristina lying to him. He said she’d told him the professor was in the past, but apparently, he was just a hetero stand-in. Ouch! She says she’s truly sorry for how she treated him.

Alexis shows up at Julian’s cell. For real this time. I think. She asks him why he’s smiling and he says she wouldn’t believe it. She asks the guard to stay. She asks what Julian was trying to pull at the arraignment, asking to be remanded to her custody. He says he loves her and she tells him that he’s not going to see the light of day again. He asks if she’s there to gloat, and she lists all the messes he made and says she finds no joy in it. She tells Julian she wants something from him.

Andre runs into Jordan, who was about to bring breakfast to his office. She tells him she didn’t like how they left things. He says it’s been a while, and she says that’s totally on her. Andre suggests they have breakfast away from the office and decide where they’re going with their relationship.

Kristina tells Aaron that she was never really attracted to a woman before and it’s hard to explain what she doesn’t understand herself. She tells him the story about her suspension and says she was heartbroken when she met him. She says he’s a great guy and the night they spent together meant something to her. He says not as much as the night she spent with Parker. Kristina tells him about it and he asks if he’s collateral damage to her life search. She says she was wrong in what she did.

Sam tells Elizabeth that she’s pregnant. Elizabeth congratulates her. Sam says Jason doesn’t know yet. She was about to tell him when he got sick and that became the priority. She doesn’t want to tell Jason until she knows the baby will be okay. She asks Elizabeth to keep it to herself. Good luck with that.

Laura says she’s going to check the test results. Doc tells Lucy they’re being tested for malaria. Lucy says she doesn’t know what she’d do if she lost him. She says she screwed up and he’ll always be her Doc and her best friend. She doesn’t want to continue with bad blood between them. She gives him the duck, as a friend to keep him company. She adds that she didn’t know that role was already filled and suggests that he’s crushing on Laura.

Laura runs into Ava who asks how Doc is doing. Laura tells her he’s doing well. She asks if she can talk to Ava about Nicholas.

Alexis wants Julian to speak to the bar association on her behalf. He doesn’t see what good that would do. She tells him he should cut a deal. She asks what the point is in her going down with him? She tells him to prove he loves her and save her for once, instead of himself. He says he’d have to tell them he tried to kill her. He says she’d have to say that she feared for her life and that’s why she defended Carrrlos. He says he’ll lie for her, but in return, she has to give him a way out.

Aaron says he’s angry and hurt, but doesn’t want to be a total tool who’s unsupportive. He says he has gay friends and knows how hard it was for them to come to terms with who they are. He says he might be angry, but he didn’t want to see her hurt. Kristina says he’s a good guy and she wants them to be copacetic. She asks if he can find it in his heart not to hate her.

Laura says her heart can’t accept that Nicholas is gone. Ava remembers fearing for Kiki and says she doesn’t know what it’s like for that feeling not to go away. Laura says for most of his life, Nicholas was a great guy and refused to give in to the Cassadines, but in the last year, the dark side won out and it’s breaking her heart. Ava says Nicholas died a hero, sacrificing his life to save her. She says he was a good man and Laura should be proud. They hug and Laura thanks her.

Doc is like, not that again, and makes the duck ask if Lucy is on quack. Lucy says he protests too much and she gives her blessing for what it’s worth.

Sam tells Elizabeth it won’t be forever, but to give her a chance to find out what’s going on and what her options are. Elizabeth says she’s ethically bound not to repeat any health information. She thinks Sam should tell Jason right away though.

Julian asks if Alexis will make a statement on his behalf and she laughs. He says all she has to do is say she tricked him into making a confession. She says she wouldn’t lift a finger to help him to go free. He says her career for his freedom seems like a fair trade. Really? She tells him to go to hell. (Applause from the audience in my head.) She says she thought there was still a shred of decency in him, which shows how delusional she is. He says he loves her and he knows she still loves him which totally creeps me out. Alexis leaves.

A guard comes in and gives Julian a set of keys, telling him to enjoy his early release.

Jordan tells Andre they should make a promise to do better. He says he’ll work on not rushing things and she says she’ll work on letting her guard down. She says she’s in it for the long haul and they kiss.

Kristina asks Aaron if they can still be friends. He says he doesn’t know. He doesn’t want to be enemies, but he wanted more and it might be a difficult adjustment. At least he’s honest. He goes back to work and Alexis shows up. She asks Kristina what’s going on and if she can help. Kristina says Aaron is talking to her now, but Parker hasn’t responded to any of her texts. Alexis says maybe Parker thought the kindest thing was to walk away. Kristina asks why she’d say that.

Sam tells Elizabeth she’ll tell Jason about the baby as soon as she knows it’s okay. Elizabeth says she hopes Sam knows what she’s doing. Sam gets a call from the hospital. They have her test results back.

Jordan gives Andre a key to her place. She tells him to crash there while she finishes up at work, adding that he should keep it “for emergencies and stuff.” She hopes it’s a good compromise and he says more than enough. I hope she doesn’t blow this because I really like him. She wants his key, but he says they’ll talk later. Hopefully, he just wants to clean the place and isn’t hiding a woman somewhere. Or a man. Or a goat.

Alone in her apartment, Ava toasts to Nicholas and what they could have been together.

Laura returns to Doc’s room. Their test results are negative.

Sam says the hospital wants to see her in person. Elizabeth suggests calling Laura to go with her, but Sam says Laura has enough stress. Elizabeth says she’ll drive her and doesn’t want her to go it alone.

Kristina says Alexis used almost the exact phrasing Parker did. She doesn’t think it’s a coincidence.

Julian is so stupid, he drops the keys outside of the cell while he’s fiddling with them. He reaches for them when a black high heel comes down on his hand. Cool.

Tomorrow, Franco will always be the same old bad Franco, Jason asks Sam to give up whatever secret she’s keeping, and Kristina is seriously angry with Alexis.

General Hospital – Friday

Finn tells Jason that after one more round of tests, he’s free and clear, but since the first ones are negative, he can go home. Jason asks about Sam, but Finn says he’ll have to get that information from her, because ethics.

Lulu tells Dante that she wants to see Valentin. Dante is like, no way. She says what can Valentin do to her in a police station? Dante tells her Valentin can mess with her head.

Kristina questions Alexis about using the same words that Parker did. Alexis says it’s not what she thinks. Kristina has put two and two together and knows Alexis forced Parker to dump her.

Nina is the one who has put her foot down – on Julian’s hand. She says someone must have dropped the keys and they need to be returned. Julian suggests she could also leave them where she found them, but he gets a negative on that.

Alexis says she was concerned, but it was Parker’s choice to end things. Kristina says she’s been tied up in knots, wondering why Parker suddenly changed her mind. Alexis tells Kristina that if she can back off for a second, she’ll tell her what happened.

Obrecht approaches Franco, asking about his suspension. He asks if Monica hired the town crier, but it was the next best thing – Amy. Obrecht complains about her budget being cut and tells him what a creep Monica is.

Jason sees Elizabeth and Sam talking. He asks what’s up, and says their conversation looks intense.

Franco tells Obrecht about his failed date with Elizabeth. Obrecht says it’s past time he got a clue about Elizabeth anyway. Franco defends Elizabeth, saying he can understand her kids coming first. Obrecht tells him his job there was only a stepping stone to him reconnecting to his artist’s soul. She says she can’t wait to see what he creates with his artistic freedom.

Finn intercepts Obrecht in the hall, saying he didn’t take her for the cheerleader type. He tells her Elizabeth didn’t abandon Franco, she cleared him of suspicion. He thinks Franco might want to know that Elizabeth came through for him in the end.

Sam questions Jason’s decision in leaving the hospital before all the tests have been run. He says he hates hospitals and he’ll be fine. Sam goes to get her test results and Jason tells Elizabeth he wants to talk to her about Franco.

Alexis says Parker hunted Kristina down, but Kristina corrects that, telling her that Parker was speaking at PCU and she’s the one who encouraged things. She also says that Parker’s marriage had been over for a while. When Alexis asks if Parker told her that, Kristina says she didn’t have to, and that she and Parker are in love. Again Alexis asks if Parker actually said that, but Kristina says she just knows. Alexis says she’s sorry, but Kristina is mistaken.

Valentin is brought into the interrogation room, where Dante and Lulu are waiting. He asks why they want to see him.

Obrecht speaks to someone on the phone, asking if they have anything on Finn.

Finn tells Sam she shows no signs of malaria. He asks about how she’s feeling. He tells her that Jason voiced some concerns about her. Sam asks if he told Jason about the pregnancy, but he says no, because ethics. I’m not sure why she asked this, since she’d just seen Jason. It’s highly doubtful he wouldn’t have said something.

Jason says he can’t tell Elizabeth who to date, but Jake is his son and he should have a say in who he’s around. Elizabeth tells him please, not again, and he has to admit that Franco has been good for Jake. Jason is annoyed that they’d discussed Franco already and then she decided to go out with him. She starts to bring up Sam and then says it’s nothing. Sam comes back, and she and Jason get ready to leave.

Nina tells Julian that she found his clause in their magazine deal, making previous agreements null and void. She has some papers for him to sign. He says what if he doesn’t? She tells him that she’ll tell Jordan what she saw.

Kristina tells Alexis thanks for ruining her life. Alexis says that wasn’t her intention. She says she didn’t want Kristina to have any pain. Kristina says Alexis is trying to manipulate her and on Parker’s worst day, even if she was using Kristina, she’s not as bad as Julian. Yeah, it’s going to take forever for Alexis to live that one down.

Lulu is like, how dare Valentin try to hurt Spencer? Valentin says he was just trying to establish a bond, but if Spencer wanted to hand over his inheritance at a later date, he wouldn’t have minded. He asks if they’ve just come to torment him or is there something they want to talk about? Lulu hands him the envelope with Daphne’s return address on it and asks who she is and how they’re connected.

Sam and Jason arrive home and she suggests getting take-out. He wants to talk first. He asks what she’s not telling him.

Franco waits for the elevator, asking it why it’s so slow. Elizabeth appears and asks why he can talk to the elevator and not her? He says he has nothing to say. He tells her that she’s been nothing but a flake to him since their date. She says she thought they had a good time. He asks if it was a good time when the cops came and he got hauled off to jail? He says he knows she was leery of him and when the cops arrived, it confirmed her worst fears. He says he’ll never be anything except big bad Franco to her.

Obrecht wonders how Finn could afford a private jet for travel. She asks where he went and what he did when he got there. He says if she doesn’t stop interfering in his private life, he’ll have to file a grievance with the board. She accuses him of the murders and he says he’s been exonerated. She says not with her. He suggests she’s diverting attention from herself.

Valentin says he can’t help Lulu and he’s not familiar with the address. Lulu says the envelope was left to her in Helena’s will. Since it was empty, the only thing of importance is the return address. Valentin suggests maybe the old witch was playing with her. Lulu asks about the skeleton in the tunnels and Valentin says he doesn’t know anything about it. Dante asks if it’s Luke and if Valentin murdered him.

Alexis says Parker might sound genuine, but she’s not, because she’s not there fighting for Kristina. She suggests Kristina do what she’s doing with Julian and move the hell on.

Finn says Obrecht has already been arrested for attempted murder. He suggests she wants to pay the board back for the trouble they’ve caused her with a murder spree that shuts down the hospital.

Franco says he’s out of Elizabeth’s life and done with GH. He tells her about the suspension and she shocked because he was cleared. He tells her she’s free to find someone who doesn’t fall short of her ridiculous expectations. The elevator finally comes and Franco gets in, but Elizabeth stops the door from closing, telling him not so fast.

Jason asks Sam if she’s sick. She says not as far as she knows, and she seems to be clear of malaria. He says they’re stronger together than apart, so tell him what’s going on.

Valentin says he doesn’t know anything about the skeleton, but considering all the turmoil on Cassadine Island, it could be anybody. He says he never even met Luke. His quarrel is with the Cassadines and he just started having to deal with the Spencers. He says he’d shake Luke’s hand for the trouble he’s brought upon the Cassadines, and he’s glad he didn’t kill any of Luke’s family. Lulu says not for lack of trying

Alexis tells Kristina she did what she did because she loves her. Kristina says because Alexis loves her, Alexis wants to run her life, and when she fights back, she’s always wrong. Alexis says a little pain now is better than a lot later. Please.

Julian signs the papers. Nina is like, thanks and see you in a million years. Julian says his lawyer is going to get him off. Nina says she knows denial when she sees it. She tells him he should plead guilty, saving his family a lot of pain and the taxpayers money. He says he’s going to be exonerated and be the husband Alexis wants. Nina tells him that he’s full on delusional and women can forgive a lot, but not that much. He says Alexis still loves him. Nina says that her love life hasn’t worked out, but she knows real love is built on trust. She says he’s only ever loved himself and that’s why he’s in there.

Alexis tells Kristina she wishes she’d handled it better; she just didn’t want to see Kristina in a doomed relationship. She says she doesn’t want Kristina to end up like her. Kristina asks why Alexis married Julian and says that she put their lives in jeopardy. She says when Alexis goes before the bar, she’ll know what it feels like to be her.

Jason asks Sam if she can just admit there’s something that she’s keeping from him. She asks him to give her a little time. He says he can feel she’s afraid, but avoiding it won’t make the fear go away. He asks her to face the fear and tell him.

Obrecht asks how dare Finn question her commitment to the hospital. He says that it’s just the opposite. She did a lot of good for the hospital, getting it out of the red, but was repaid by being demoted.

Elizabeth tells Franco his patients need him and she’s seen the good work he’s done. He says it will never eclipse the bad he’s done, and he’s made his decision – GH is not for him. He tells her to say “hi” to Jake and hopes she finds that special someone who meets with Jason’s approval.

Franco asks Obrecht if she wants to go for a drink. She says she thought he had plans with Elizabeth. Franco says that was over before it began. Obrecht tells him about how Elizabeth got him off the suspect hook.

Lulu says Valentin murdered her brother, but he claims self-defense. She says he was going to kill Nicholas from the beginning. Valentin says that would be difficult to prove and Dante tells him he’s going to rot in jail. Dante and Lulu leave.

Valentin looks up to see Nina. He tells her he’s being extradited to Greece. Nina says she hears that he’s a murderer. He says he’s a realist who does what the situation requires. She asks what was required when they met and asks if it was a set-up to cover up something. He tells her that he found her beautiful, charming and a little sad, and he slept with her because the moment he laid eyes on her, he didn’t want to be anywhere else and trusted his instinct. Nina says she bets he regrets that now, since she gave his phone to the police. Valentin says it was his fault for leaving the phone behind. He says he regrets nothing, especially the night they spent together. She says he’s going to prison for life, and he tells her that he doesn’t put his faith in the system; he puts it in his instincts and they tell him that he and Nina are going to be together again.

Holy! I don’t know if he’s playing her, but I’ll go off with him. Although he is reminding me of Kurt Russell in Death Proof. A charming serial killer.

On Monday, Jason asks Sam what’s going on (for the thousandth time), Dillon and Morgan have it out, and Sonny asks Jax why he doesn’t want to know about the donor. Hmm… You don’t think he has something to do with getting the kidney, do you?

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital – Thursday

Jason is brought into the police station in handcuffs. Sonny is there and asks what’s up with that. Jordan says Jason has been arrested for the murder of Nicholas Cassadine, but Sam is saying otherwise. Dante and Lulu walk in and confirm Sam’s story.

Nina wakes up nakey in bed and wonders what she’s done. Theo tells her things got pretty naughty and he hopes she’s not having second thoughts.

Spencer is practicing his camp gig as the lead in Richard III. He leaves a message for Nicholas. The camp counselor comes to get him.

Darby and Dillon meet at the coffee shop. He says he’s willing to see where things go, but he’s not ready to commit to a relationship. She says that isn’t necessarily what she wants.

Kiki tells Morgan she thinks he’s having a manic episode. She wants an answer to whether or not he’s taking his meds.

We revisit Griff and Claudette seeing each other for the first time. She asks if it’s really him. When he says yes, she flies over and hugs him.

Nathan asks Maxie to marry him today.

Theo tells Nina they’re two grown-ups, unattached, both a little sad, having some fun. He hopes she doesn’t think he’s taking advantage. She says she doesn’t, but this is the first time she’s done anything like this.

Darby says she’s not looking for a commitment. Dillon says that’s his fault for making an assumption. She says he needs to get tested for an STI. She tells him about something I’ve never heard of (Mycoplasma genitalium – MG) and says sometimes there are no symptoms. It can cause cancer, but is highly treatable if caught in time. Dillon asks what about Morgan?

Morgan says he thought Kiki trusted him. She says she does, but she doesn’t trust his disease. He says his personality isn’t going to change and he tends to leap before he looks. She wonders if loving each other is enough and if they can get past their past.

Griff asks what Claudette is doing in Port Charles. She says some freelance work and that it looks like he left the priesthood. He says he’s just taking a break and he’s regretted their encounter since it happened. She says God works in mysterious ways and they’ve been brought back together for a reason. I roll my eyes.

Maxie says if they elope, they’ll disappoint a lot of people, and she’s not getting married without Lulu being there.

Lulu and Dante tell Sonny what happened and that Laura is with Doc at the hospital. Sonny asks about Ava, and Jordan says she’s giving a statement. Dante says it’s unnecessary.

Nina agrees to being friends with benefits. She asks how long Theo is in town. He says he’s tying up loose ends with his family, but he has a couple of hours to kill. They get busy again. We see the headline in the paper about Dante and company being back in Port Charles.

Morgan asks if Kiki is sorry they got back together. She says no, but he has to respect her and life-altering surprises aren’t her thing. She says they have to learn to deal with the people they are now. He asks if this is about Dillon. Kiki assures Morgan that she loves him, but he’s moving too fast. She says they’re adults now and have to start acting like it. They hear Avery crying on the monitor, and Kiki says she’ll go tend to her because Morgan has to get to work. She says they’ll talk later.

Dillon says it’s none of his business, but he knows Darby was with Morgan. She says it was a while ago, but she did try to call him.

Claudette says she can’t believe the coincidence, but Griff says history has proven that bad things happen when she’s around. He says she came to him about her marital troubles when she only got married for a green card. She says at first, but then she wanted to make it work. He says they had an illicit affair and she got off on it; she enjoyed the thrill of possibly getting caught. She says at one point he was willing to leave the priesthood and stay with her.

Maxie asks if Nathan is over-compensating because of Claudette and is there something he isn’t telling her.

Nina says she could get used to no strings. Theo says sometimes liking someone is better than loving them and I ponder this. Curtis knocks at the door. Nina gives Theo the paper to peruse and steps out to talk to Curtis privately. Curtis is concerned she might have made a decision she regrets. Theo sees the headline.

Jordan says she’ll reach out to her Interpol contacts about Valentin. She wants everyone to stick around for statements though. Sonny says despite Nicholas’s faults, he was Lulu’s brother and he’s sorry for her loss. She says there’s someone else who might not have made it off the island alive.

Dillon looks up stuff about MG on his phone. He sees Morgan and tells him he might want to return Darby’s phone calls. He says that they may have an STI.

Griff admits his feelings for Claudette were real. He checks out her injury while she stares at his gorgeousness. He pokes around until she says ow and he says she aggravated her old injury. She tells him how it happened. He says ah-ha, she’s there for Nathan.

Maxie brings up Nathan and Claudette’s song that he still has on his playlist. He says he’ll delete it. She says that’s not the point. She thinks he asked her to marry him in a rush to assuage his conscience after he told her about Claudette.

Lulu talks about the possibility of Luke being the skeleton. Sonny says they have no reason to think he’s dead unless there’s 100% proof, but he’ll find out for sure.

Nina tells Curtis not to judge her and he says, “My name is Saul and that’s between ya’ll.” Ha-ha! Theo emerges, saying his timetable changed and he has to go. Nina says that wasn’t a walk of shame, it was a sprint. She and Curtis go back into her room and Curtis says Theo left his phone. Nina says let’s check to see what’s on it so they can track him down, like either Curtis or I would believe that reason. They hear Spencer’s message.

Claudette asks Griff how she would know Nathan was in Port Charles. He says he’s friends with Maxie and she had been worried about Nathan when he didn’t come home. Claudette says Maxie is a jealous, petty person, and she didn’t seduce Nathan. Griff says Claudette repeatedly told him she never loved Nathan, so what’s the angle?

Nathan tells Maxie that he wants to jump start their life and help her be more secure

Nina wonders why Theo has Nicholas’s phone. Curtis says Nicholas was dead weeks ago and the phone needs to be taken to the police because there’s an ongoing investigation

Sonny says if Valentin killed Nicholas, he could be targeting other Cassadines and he wants to make sure they’re safe. Jordan comes out with Valentin’s picture. She says he has a clean record but is a person of interest in a laundry list of crimes. She uncuffs Jason and says he still has to answer for fleeing jurisdiction. She says he’ll get off, but not to think she’s okay about vigilante justice.

The camp counselor says Spencer has a visitor who says he’s family. It’s Theo. Seriously, what camp is just going to allow a visit by an unannounced person who says they’re family? And then leave them alone with the kid? Everyone remove your children from that camp immediately.

Curtis brings the phone into the police station. He plays the recording of Spencer for Jordan.

Morgan and Dillon are at the hospital. Kiki shows up, saying she got Morgan’s text and why did he want to meet her there? Darby, who suddenly appears, says because she slept with Morgan and so did Kiki. She says too bad Kiki hadn’t slept with Dillon, since it would make it a perfect circle. Ew!

Claudette tells Griff she wants nothing from Nathan. She says she bets Nathan and Maxie don’t know who he is. He says when she’s backed into a corner she attacks and has someone take a bullet for her – literally. She says she loved him and he says he’ll examine her leg now. That’s not a euphemism for anything. He really wants to examine her leg.

Nina explains where she got the phone, and says his name was Theo. Everyone exchanges looks.

Theo says he’s Spencer’s uncle. Spencer asks why he’s in Port Charles. Theo says he’s there to bring Spencer to Nicholas. Spencer wants ID and Theo shows him the tattoo. Theo says he has a jet gassed up and ready to go. Spencer says he hasn’t offered his kingdom for a horse yet. Theo says they have a small window to escape, and asks him if he doesn’t want to see his father. Ha-ha! He’ll be giving this kid back before he can ask for ransom.

Kiki asks if she has an STD and Darby says it’s an STI. Kiki says she can’t believe this is happening. Darby says it’s an infection, not the black plague. Kiki and Morgan walk away and Darby tells Dillon none of them are better than she is and at least she got tested and told the right people. Morgan tells Kiki she’s right. They spent time apart and it changed them, and they need to start fresh. She says she’s not going anywhere. Dillon sees them hug and Kiki sees Dillon over Morgan’s shoulder.

Claudette sees Maxie and Nathan. Maxie tells her they pushed up the date of their wedding. Claudette says she’s decided to stay in Port Charles. Poor Griff.

Jason says Theo is Valentin’s alias. Nina is like, what? Jordan shows her Valentin’s picture.

Theo asks what means more to Spencer, his public or his father. Um…

Nina confirms that’s who she was with. Dante asks if he said anything about where he was going. She says he told her he was tying up loose ends with family.

Spencer says if the world’s a stage and the men and women merely players, he hasn’t left the play, it just moved on. They open the door to leave and Sonny is there. Honestly, I never thought I’d say this, but I’m loving Sonny.

Tomorrow, Carly says she and Jax are on the same side, Sonny meets Theo, and Curtis has answers for Nina.

General Hospital – Friday

There’s a knock at Carly’s door. It’s Jax. He wants to talk about Jocelyn. He asks if Carly wants to make peace or go to war. She says he implied that she doesn’t care about Jocelyn’s well-being. She says she understands that Jocelyn feels like her privacy is invaded. Jax says they need to consider that, but Carly says not at the risk of Jocelyn’s health. She says that she and Nina won’t do anything to hurt Jocelyn.

Ava visits Julian, who immediately starts whining. His voice gives me a headache. She tells him he’ll get an acquittal. Not sure how she came to that conclusion. She says it’s not like he tried to kill his wife or something. I guess she has been away a while. He tells her what happened with Alexis and finding the wire on her. He says he still loves Alexis and that he’s the one who screwed everything up. He tells Ava he has a plan to get everything back – Alexis, his family, and his freedom. He says it will take time and effort, but they’ll find their way back to each other. He tells Ava that Scotty is his lawyer, but no lawyer is going to get him out of this. He’s going to escape and he wants her help.

Alexis goes through the mail. She gets a notice about a hearing next week. Sam arrives, telling her about what happened in Greece. Alexis says Cassadines don’t die, they rise from the ashes, so nothing is as it seems. She tells Sam that it’s not over.

Nina is freaked that she’s slept with another psychopath. She’s with Curtis at the coffee shop and he says they’ve all had nights they regret. He tells her there are good men out there worthy of her. She asks why he’s so nice to her and he says because she pays him. He tells her he might have the answers she’s looking for in regard to the organ donor.

The charges against Jason have been dropped and he’s released. He asks about Valentin and Jordan says they’re on high alert. She tells him that he doesn’t get a free pass to loiter around the squad room though. Jordan says she has a search to conduct and if he’s there when she gets back, she’ll lock him up. Jason calls Lulu and asks where Spencer’s play is.

Superhero Sonny shows up at Camp Showbiz. (I finally notice the sign.) He asks Spencer how his debut was. He says he’s sorry he missed the first act, and maybe Spencer’s friend can fill him in. But wait a second, I thought the play hadn’t started yet. Theo sort of introduces himself and Sonny does the same. Sonny asks if Theo was close to Nicholas, and that it’s funny how Nicholas never mentioned him. Theo tries to get Spencer to move along, but Sonny isn’t having it.

Carly is getting ready for her mother’s birthday and has to check on the cake in the kitchen. Her phone rings and Jax picks it up. It’s a text from Nina saying she has something in regard to the donor. D’oh!

Alexis tells Sam that what happened with Julian was surreal. Sam says she wishes she had been there and asks why Alexis didn’t tell her what was going on. Alexis says Julian is her father, but Sam says he has nothing to do with their family anymore. Alexis thanks her for her love and support, and says she has to do the rest for herself. She tells Sam to go. Sam tells her that fighting Julian takes guts and don’t dare stop.

Ava tells Julian to stop talking like that. He tells her to get some men together and have a jet ready. She says she can’t help him. She tells him about Nicholas sacrificing his life for hers and that she’s been given a second second chance. She doesn’t want to risk going back to prison. She tells him sorry and good luck. Ha-ha!

Jax tells Carly to check her messages. She says she can explain. He asks if she’s going to explain with another lie. He says he told her what would happen if she pushed him, and don’t be surprised if he pushes back.

Theo says he has a gift for Spencer from his father that he has to give him in private. Sonny tries to get Spencer to go finish the show, saying that he wouldn’t want his understudy to get all the glory. Spencer runs off. Sonny tells Theo he knows a Cassadine when he sees one. He grabs Theo’s arm and exposes his tattoo.

Curtis gives Nina a list of donors he thinks are a possibility. He points out one in particular and says it would be Jocelyn’s donor.

Carly tells Jax they’ve always been able to work things out. She says Jocelyn doesn’t know what’s best for her and what if something happens with the kidney? He tells her that he’ll see her in court. Idiot.

In revolving soap door fashion, Jax leaves and Ava comes in.

Valentin (switching back now) says Sonny is very observant. Sonny says he knows who Valentin is and says and he doesn’t want Sonny as an enemy. Valentin says people say the same thing about him and shows he’s armed. Valentin assumes Sonny must not have pulled his weapon because he doesn’t want innocent children caught in a crossfire. He says he doesn’t have that problem and tells Sonny to put his gun and phone on the ground. Sonny complies and says he doesn’t want to hurt Valentin, but the guy behind Valentin will. Jason punches Valentin out and Sonny tells him it’s about time he showed up.

Sam comes to visit Julian. He says he can’t believe what she and the others went through on Cassadine Island. She’s like, you don’t care anyway. He says he can explain. She says fat chance of that and tells him for once act like a man instead of a lying coward and admit what he did. He says if he doesn’t get out, he can’t make things right with his family. She says he has no family and if he ever comes near Alexis again, she’ll kill him herself. She says he’s nothing to her.

Alexis gets a letter from the bar. It’s not good. Jax knocks on the door and she’s ecstatic to see him. Alexis asks how long he’s going to be there. He says he and Carly are having issues that might need legal intervention. Alexis asks if he needs her help. He says he might be in a bit of trouble and she stops him, saying she can’t represent him.

Jason tells Jason to get Valentin out of there before Spencer comes back. Jordan shows up saying it won’t be necessary and asks why he didn’t call her. She tells Valentin he’s under arrest. She says she’s sure the Greek authorities will have plenty of charges and reads him his rights. Sonny and Jason are all proud of themselves.

Ava tells Carly that it’s karma that Carly tried to take Avery away and now Jax is going to try and take Jocelyn from her. Carly gives her a hard time about seeing Avery, but eventually relents when Ava makes her feel guilty enough.

Julian tells Sam he loves her and she can’t just cut him out of her life. She tells him he’s going away for a long time and don’t bother writing. She says she’ll be in court supporting her mother. He asks what if Danny needs a bone marrow donor again. What a tool.

Curtis tells Nina all the preliminary facts match up and something feels right about the story. Nina composes and email to the donor. She must type fast. The email isn’t that short and she’s done in like, two seconds. Curtis tells her she can’t do that and she says too late, she just did.

Carly listens to Ava talk to Avery over the monitor. She looks at a picture of herself and Jocelyn.

Jax pours himself and Alexis a glass of wine. She seems weird about drinking, making me wonder if she really is pregnant. He tells her she’ll come out of this okay, but she says she doesn’t think so. He says Diane is a total shark who will tear the committee apart. Alexis says it won’t happen this time, since she knew about Julian and married him anyway. Jax says she’s had worse relationships; she lost her way and she’s back on track. He hugs her.

Sonny tells Jason he might have a future in law enforcement, but Jason says Jordan hates him. Jason wonders how Sonny knew what was happening. He says he just had a feeling, but now he has to explain things to Spencer. He asks Jason to tell Carly what’s happening.

Spencer comes back, saying he got a standing ovation and asks where Theo is. Sonny tells Spencer that Theo had to go and to stay away from him. Spencer says his father sent Theo and he’s not supposed to tell anyone, but Nicholas is still alive. He says Nicholas sent Theo to take him on an adventure. Sonny says he’s sorry, but it’s not going to happen. I feel ripped off, having wanted to see Spencer play Richard III.

Valentin wants his phone call and Jordan says she’ll get to it. He also wants Nina’s phone number.

Nina says worse case scenario, they’re wrong and the donor gets a free trip there. Yippee. Just where everyone wants to vacation – Port Charles. Curtis says what about Carly?

Ava tells Carly to enjoy her little soiree. She says maybe she’ll look up Jax, adding that she’ll be there tomorrow to see Avery.

Jax says he’ll have to find someone else to fight his battle, but they won’t be as good as Alexis. She says maybe Carly will come around and it won’t come to that. Jax tells her there’s a ton of people who love and support her, and not to be afraid to lean on them. He tells her that no matter what, she’ll still be fabulous. Jax leaves and Alexis cries.

Nina says Carly can deal and sends the email. Carly calls and tells Nina about Jax’s threat and tells her to drop the search. Oops. Nina says consider it done.

Sam says Julian is doing exactly what Sonny said he would, holding her son’s life over her head. She tells him Jason has been tested and is a perfect match. She tells Julian he’s now expendable. She asks what he thinks Jason will say if he knew Julian threatened her sons life. As she’s raging at Julian, Sam collapses.

On Monday, Bobbie invites Jax to the party, Ava tells Kiki to let Morgan go, and Carly tells Sonny she’s not looking for the donor anymore. I can’t tell if her fingers are crossed behind her back.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital – Thursday

Lulu asks Daphne if she knew Helena, but she says she only knew of her and once spoke to her briefly. Daphne leaves and Laura tells Doc that as soon as the antibiotics come, he’ll be okay. He says he doesn’t think so because he has the fastest moving infection ever. Laura tells him he doesn’t want to quit until he can use this experience for his next book.

Sonny asks Alexis why she lied. He wants to know when she was going to tell him that Parker was a woman. Alexis confirms that Parker was the professor that Kristina propositioned, but thought it was Kristina’s place to tell him. She says Kristina is an adult who told her something in confidence. He asks if she told Julian. She says she doesn’t want to discuss him, and says Sonny is just angry that Kristina didn’t confide in him.

Kristina goes to the coffee shop. She wants to talk to Aaron, but first, he gives her a letter a woman dropped off. She says it’s from her mentor and goes off by herself to read it. She’s all happy, but we already know it’s Parker’s kiss off goodbye letter.

Nathan calls Maxie, leaving a message that they might have been wrong about Claudette. He says to call him before she does something they both regret.

Claudette claims her software can trace untraceable items (really now?) and the malware is traced back to Maxie’s computer. Gee, why don’t we all have this software? Nina asks why Maxie would do something like this, and Maxie says because of Claudette. She says Nina doesn’t trust her either since she hired Curtis to dig into her background. She claims that Claudette set them up because Maxie is going to marry the man Claudette drove away. She leaves and Nina tells Claudette that Maxie will be reprimanded. Claudette says she’s glad it happened because she realizes there’s no place for her there.

Lulu thinks the address is no coincidence and says Helena wanted her to come there. Ava says it’s not all about her. They hear noises in the bushes and Dante draws his gun. He tells everyone to get down, but it’s only Jason and Sam. Jason says he thinks they found a way off the island. Is it called a boat?

Sam says they saw someone they didn’t recognize and Lulu tells her about Daphne. Sam goes over to Doc, who’s not doing too well. Jason says they found a jet. Ava asks if anybdy can fly one and he says he thinks he can. Laura says Doc has to get to a hospital and they all agree to take the jet. Laura wants to wait for Daphne to get back with the drugs.

Sonny says he does the best he can to put his children first. Alexis apologizes for implying otherwise. She says she respects his role in Kristina’s life, but thought that any further information should come from her. He mentions how he found out and Alexis says if it makes him feel any better, Kristina is glad she finally told him. Sonny thinks Parker is taking advantage of Kristina and that she’s going to get hurt. Alexis suggests they talk to her calmly.

Kristina sits crying over the letter. Aaron asks her what’s wrong. She says it’s embarrassing. She says she’d asked her mentor if she should go back to school, but was told there’s no place for her anymore. Aaron says he’s sorry it didn’t work out, but he can’t say he’s disappointed that she’ll be staying in Port Charles.

Claudette tells Maxie that they have more in common than she thinks, and says Maxie liked her before she knew who she was. She says she got another job offer and she’s going to take it. She says she’s glad she finally met Nina while she’s conscious, mentioning how she came to visit with Nathan when Nina was in a coma. Nina pretty much hustles her to the elevator, saying their door is always open. When she’s gone, Nina tells Maxie she did the right thing.

Ava says she’s going to the plane. Sam says she’s going by herself because they’re waiting for Doc. Ava suggests Jason and Dante stay behind until Doc gets the antibiotics, saying it’s better not to be in a large group anyway. They hear someone coming and duck down again. It might have been a good idea to move Doc to a less conspicuous spot.

It’s Daphne with the supplies. They give Doc the pills.

Aaron asks what Kristina was going to tell him, but she says it’s unimportant now. She asks him to hold her. Sonny and Alexis show up. Alexis asks if they can speak with Kristina alone. Alexis asks what’s wrong and Kristina says Parker left her after they’d decided to give things a shot. She wonders why Parker would suddenly change her mind.

Maxie says she thought Nina was furious with her. Nina says she is and now is not the time to screw things up. She says if Maxie does it again, she’ll fire her. She adds that while she doesn’t like the method, she’s down with the motive. She says she could see in Claudette’s eyes that she’s still in love with Nathan.

Claudette knocks on Nathan’s door.

Doc has a drink and Ava says they should get going. Dante and Jason half carry Doc. Laura thanks Daphne, saying she won’t forget her. Daphne watches with a weird face as they leave. Did anyone actually check to see what the pills were? Honestly, for a bunch of spies and adventurers, everyone is very lax.

The group gets to the jet and Jason asks Dante to co-pilot. I hope they checked the gas tank. I don’t trust their judgment at this point. Doc tells Laura she’s his favorite doctor.

Sonny tells Kristina they have her back and always will. She says she gets that now. She says she had a great guy and blew it by going after someone who brushed her off in the first place. Sonny tells Kristina that she’s their daughter and they’re proud of her. She hugs Sonny and cries.

Nina says she would have done the same thing and starts talking about her own situation. Maxie says she and Nathan love each other and she trusts him.

Claudette tells Nathan that Maxie sabotaged her. She says it’s obvious she and Maxie can’t work together, and for his sister’s sake, she doesn’t want the magazine to suffer. She’s booked the next flight out of Port Charles. Have an airport, do they?

Jason starts the plane.

Claudette says she got a job offer in Manhattan. Someone please tell me why on earth she’d even want to bother getting revenge or whatever in Port Charles when she could be working and living in Manhattan? Nathan wants them to straighten things out, but Claudette says at least this time they can get closure and leave on better terms.

Maxie says she and Nathan can’t blame outside obstacles for any problems they have. She thanks Nina and says she’s going to try and make everything right.

Sonny says Aaron seems concerned about Kristina and she tells him that she gave him a story about school. Alexis asks if she has any feelings for Aaron and Kristina says if she can let Parker go, they might have something. Alexis says she can only find happiness within herself. Okay, Confucius. Kristina decides to talk to Aaron. Sonny and Alexis pat themselves on the back for being great parents. Sonny is glad Parker is gone. Alexis says she thinks she’s done something to make Kristina hate her again.

Kristina tells Aaron she hasn’t been honest and she has to be if they have any future. She says last night she slept with someone else. Aaron says that hurts, but they never had a conversation about being exclusive. He asks if she’s been seeing someone else, and she says no, it was her professor, the same one who got her kicked out. She says that’s what the letter was really about. He asks if the letter was from a woman and Kristina says yes. Did he assume that from the fancy handwriting?

Doc tells Laura she has beautiful eyes and she says the meds must be kicking in. He goes on about how she’s a mystery and she tells him to rest. He thanks her and she says he’d do the same for her. He says for the past few years, he’s been sleep-walking, trying to salvage a marriage that didn’t work, but she brought him back. He says he wants her to know in case he doesn’t make it. She tells him not to talk like that.

Lulu ponders the address, but Ava says sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Ha-ha! She says thank God they’re off the island since she thought they were going to die there.

Suddenly, the fuel light comes on. What did I say? They’re leaking fuel and Jason thinks Valentin must have tampered with the tank. He tells Dante and Sam that they have to land. Dante is like, we’re over the water, but Jason says he’ll find an island. Greece is full of them.

Alexis tells Sonny about her talk with Parker. He says he would have done the same thing. He says right now Kristina is heartbroken, but she’s accepted the relationship is over, so he wants to keep it that way.

Aaron asks if Kristina is gay. She says no, and he asks if he’s just a guy to show her parents. She says she likes him and she’s attracted to him, and she thought there was something there before she messed it up. She asks if they can at least be friends and see where it goes. He says he has to think about things.

Maxie gets the message from Nathan. Claudette’s tells Nathan that her car was canceled (no explanation) and Nathan offers to drive her to the airport. He says Maxie will understand. Claudette thanks him, saying he’s always the hero. Maxie calls back, but Nathan’s phone is sitting on the desk. Really? He’s a cop and left his phone at home? She leaves a message saying it really doesn’t matter what Claudette thinks and feels; they love each other and nothing will change that. I don’t suppose he’ll be getting that message.

Jason says when they land, Sam is to get everyone off the plane and he’ll check things out with the fuel. Lulu gives everyone instructions for landing because she’s a flight attendant. Ever the optimist, Ava says they’re going to die.

It’s a rough ride and Jason tells them to brace themselves.

Tomorrow, Nathan’s car breaks down, Curtis says he wants nothing from Jordan, and Valerie frisks Franco. Say that three times real fast.

General Hospital – Friday

Amy 2.0 tells Valerie that Franco was holding a vial of something when he came out of a patient’s room. Valerie tracks him down and searches him. No surprise, he’s ticklish. She wants to know what he was doing in Miss Prescott’s room.

Jordan sees Curtis at the coffee shop. She tells him she took TJ to see Shawn. She says it meant a lot to the three of them to be a family and she thanks him again. He says he doesn’t need her gratitude or anything else from her. She says she needs something from him.

Maxie is on her laptop working. She checks her phone. Nathan is late and she has no messages. She blows out the candles she had lit for a romantic evening. Nathan’s phone rings and she realizes he left it. She sees the photo in the trash and wonders if Claudette was there and if she’s with Nathan.

Yes, she is. The car has broken down. Nathan is puzzled as to what’s wrong. Claudette pretends to be concerned. Nathan is totally annoyed and Claudette says it’s all her fault.

Maxie calls Dante, but Nathan wasn’t scheduled. She tells him that Nathan left his phone and she’s trying to figure out what’s going on.

Claudette says she was afraid she’d miss her flight and wanted to avoid traffic by taking a back road. Nathan is starting to think nothing is a coincidence and says funny how her phone battery died too. (It didn’t.)

Griff asks Elizabeth how Jake is doing. She says he’s doing great and she thanks him for the help he gave her after her house blew up. He says people often come into our lives when we need them, that it’s a gift. She tells him about Franco and asks his opinion. He says he tries to give people the benefit of the doubt and asks if she holds Franco’s past against him.

Franco says he was giving the patient a ceramic she’d made in art therapy class. He says he found the vial on the floor and thought since it was medical waste, he should pick it up. He says maybe instead of tickling him, Valerie should nominate him for employee of the month. Valerie asks Amy how the patient is.

Elizabeth says she wants to see the best in Franco and they’re going on a date tonight. Griff tells her he gets why she’s asking now, and tells her that she looks lovely. She does. Nice wrap-around dress. He asks if she needs a sign or blessing, but she says she doesn’t think anything will make her feel confident.

Amy says the patient is sleeping and there was a ceramic piece where Franco said it would be. There’s some chit-chat and Franco leaves. Valerie tells Amy to keep an eye on him, and that she’s going to have the vial tested.

Curtis tells Jordan she must be desperate. She apologizes for how she shut him down and waved his drug problem in his face. Curtis says he knows he disappointed a lot of people, including himself. Jordan says she could say the same about herself. She reviews the whole Shawn-is-TJ’s-father thing to bring new viewers up to speed. She says she takes responsibility for the break-up of her family, and that the visit to Shawn was freeing. She also realized that TJ is missing out on a male figure in his life. She says it’s not possible for Shawn to be a strong, male presence in TJ’s life, but Curtis can be

Maxie checks at the hospital to see if Nathan is there. She tells Griff what’s going on. Griff asks if Nathan might be in danger and asks if someone is threatening him. She says someone is threatening them as a couple.

Claudette tells Nathan that she thought they could all peacefully coexist, but obviously she threatened Maxie, who in turn threatened her professional life. Half-sarcastically, she apologizes for all the inconvenience.

Curtis says he loves TJ and wouldn’t mind, but Jordan has always kept them from being close. He says just 24-hours ago, he came looking for forgiveness and she wasn’t having it.

Griff and Maxie go to the coffee shop. She tells him that she did something sneaky and underhanded, and it boomeranged. She says it worked out for the best though, since the threatening person is gone, but now Nathan is missing. She thinks she brought it on herself. She wonders why Griff told Nathan he deserved to be shot and how a priest would even be in that position.

Nathan says he’s worried about Maxie. Claudette is like, yeah don’t worry about me at all, and then “trips” twisting her ankle.

Franco gives Elizabeth a flower and babbles about Ralph Waldo Emerson. Elizabeth asks if he’s nervous and he says yes. He wants to surprise her with where they’re going. She says she doesn’t like surprises, and he says she’s just like everyone else; she doesn’t trust him.

Amy checks on Miss Prescott again and calls code blue.

Claudette makes up some nonsense about not being the same since she fell when they were camping. Seriously? You have ankle issues and wear 6-inch heels? Nathan says when she had the camping fall, he thought he’d lost her. She says she didn’t want to leave him, and that’s how she managed to stop the fall. They each say the break-up was their fault. Bleh. I see where this is going.

Griff says he doesn’t blame the shooter, but that’s all the information Maxie is getting. She says it sounds like he could use some forgiveness too.

Jordan says she’s made so many mistakes, she can’t count them anymore. She says even Andre called her on keeping her feelings to herself. She says TJ has a million questions, but she can’t even explain things to herself. She says TJ needs someone he can turn to, a man he can respect. Curtis says she doesn’t trust or respect him. Jordan says TJ does, and she trusts him with her son. Curtis agrees to mentor TJ. He says Jordan called needing something from him, but he got much more. He says he has his family back and it’s the best he’s felt in a long time.

Valerie wonders why they didn’t hear the monitors. Amy tells Valerie someone must have turned them off, adding the patient was due to be released. The doctor says they won’t know what the cause of death is until the autopsy, but it looks like the other deaths. Valerie wants to seal the room off as a crime scene.

Franco and Elizabeth go to The Floating Rib. He asks why she said she was ready to go on a date with him when she clearly isn’t?

Claudette asks how Nathan can blame himself for her cheating. He says it takes two to make a marriage work and it takes two to break one, and he owns the lack of attention he gave her. There’s a sound from the woods and Nathan calls out, saying he’s armed. I fully expect it to be the geek who fixed Claudette’s computer.

Griff says maybe he needs to hang on to the guilt to make sure he doesn’t make the same mistake. He says he was selfish and reckless and betrayed everything he believes.

Curtis asks what was up with Jordan and Andre at the bar. She says that he was right. If she wants them to be close, she needs to open up more. Curtis suggests maybe the problem is Andre. Jordan’s phone rings. It’s Valerie, and Jordan has to leave for the hospital, since the police commissioner is the only one available. Curtis says he’s coming along to see Valerie.

Franco asks again why Elizabeth agreed to go out with him. She says Ric was being annoying about how she puts her boys at risk, so she called Franco about the date in front of him to annoy him back. Franco is insulted and starts to leave, but she asks him to stay, She tells him she’s flawed and he always gives her the benefit of the doubt and she wanted to do the same. He says that’s not enough, and he wanted to take her somewhere special, but if she doesn’t trust him, there’s no point in continuing. She says she doesn’t want to hear him complain about how lousy their date was, so she’s game for whatever he planned.

Griff brings Maxie some decaf, since she’s jazzed already. She says she’s not supposed to have caffeine anyway because of the heart transplant, and she tells him that story. He tells her she has a good heart and she says not after what she did today. He says she should just move on and try to do better, and she asks why doesn’t he give himself the same advice. She tells him to stop blaming himself for what some violent, crazy person did with a gun.

Claudette is hiding in the car and Nathan joins her. She thinks it’s a bear (geek in a bear suit?) and Nathan says he can make some noise. Claudette says she can do better and puts on the radio. What a shock. It’s their wedding song. This is making me ill.

Amy brings back the test results from the vial and it’s the same drug that was involved with the recent patient deaths.

Franco brings Elizabeth to his art studio. He locks the door and smiles.

On Monday, Ava thinks Jason is dead, only Franco’s fingerprints are on the vial, and Roxie makes an appearance.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital – Thursday

Scotty and Lucy meet at the MetroCourt. Lucy asks him what he wants and he says just dinner with his beautiful ex-wife. She knows he’s just trying to butter her up. She tells him to just let her know what it is she’s probably going to regret giving him.

Elizabeth tells Franco to quit lurking around. She says a lot of employees have called in sick because of the killer on the loose and it’s spooky enough. He says he’s not lurking; he has a gift for her.

Hayden asks Finn if he’s a drug addict.

Carly tells Sonny about Wendy, the kidney donor who got in contact with her. Sonny tells her to be careful and that there are a lot of frauds out there.

Yep. Carrrlos has a Brother. Sabrrrina calls him Jose, but he says now that he’s in the states, he goes by Joe. He’s very Rico Suave.

Franco gives Elizabeth a check for $6000. She says she can’t accept it. He says it’s for all her kids to go to summer camp.

Lucy says she was hoping that Scotty changed his ways, but he’s not going to twinkle his way into her pocketbook again. He says he’s just looking for work, but she says it always ends in disaster when they work together. She says he must have clients and Ava must keep him busy in and out of court. He says it’s not like that. He begs her not to leave him flapping in the wind. She says she’s broke.

Finn is appalled and asks what right Hayden has to ask that. Hayden says since she was recruited to get his meds. She tells him what she learned about the drug and how it’s akin to heroine. He tells her to back off. She says she was just trying to help. He says he appreciates that, but he thinks he’s found another solution.

Sonny tells Carly that until Julian is in prison, he’s a threat. He tells her about the arraignment being postponed. He has to leave and she promises not to do anything stupid. She gets a text from Wendy about meeting right away.

Joe says he found out where she was from the hospital, since he’s Teddy’s uncle. Michael comes in and tells Joe to get away from Sabrrrina, thinking that somehow Carrrlos survived. Sabrrrina tells him he’s not Carrrlos, but his brother.

Sabrrrina introduces Joe to Carrrlos, who produces ID. She says he left Puerto Rico when she was still a teenager. Joe tells Michael he’s a pediatric doctor now.

Franco says he was gifted with the money and he’s choosing to give some to Elizabeth for her children. When Elizabeth finally gets it out of him that the money came from Heather, she says she already signed up the boys for Lila’s Kids. Franco wonders what to do with the money and suggests they could use it for their first date. Elizabeth tells him to slow his roll and that she needs to think about it. Ric is lurking around the corner.

Lucy says her money was stolen by her broker, Raymond Berlin. Scotty sees Rachel’s mother at the bar.

Hayden says she’s sorry for doubting Finn. He says if she’s counting on him to restore her faith in humanity, God help them. She says she’ll start with only him then, and asks if he’s who she thinks he is or has he been lying the whole time?

Scotty and Lucy approach Naomi. She asks if she can help them. Lucy says she can start by coughing up the money her husband stole. Naomi says she’s no longer married to him, she doesn’t have the money and she doesn’t know where it is, so shoo. Lucy says she can’t dismiss them like that. Naomi asks who they are, and Lucy introduces herself and Scotty. Lucy asks again where the money is. Naomi says she knew she’d be slumming in going there.

Finn tells Hayden she expects too much, that people are flawed and struggle and fail. He says they’ll always disappoint you, but if he disappoints her in any way, it won’t be because he lied. Sonny comes to the door. Finn says Hayden was just leaving.

Ric says hello to Elizabeth. He tells her he’s working on a project for Sonny and asks if she’d like to get a cup of coffee. She’s like, with you? He says she won’t give him the time of day, but she’s mooning over Franco.

Sonny says the FBI might be interested in where Naomi is. Um…don’t they know already? I distinctly remember them questioning her after Nicholas’s “death.” Speaking of which, are we getting the old Nicholas back or are we stuck with this Chandlerish version? Naomi asks if she has to call security. Franco shows up and tells Lucy and Scotty about the money from Heather. Naomi overhears and gets weird about hearing Heather’s name. She faints.

Joe says he was estranged from his brother. He thought when he heard Carrrlos was dead, they’d never have a resolution. Then when he found out Carrrlos was still alive, while he was busy making up his mind about contacting him, Carrrlos was killed. He says Sabrrrina and Teddy are his only links to his brother and he doesn’t want to waste any more time.

Carly asks what the three of them did to Naomi. She says she doesn’t know what she would have done if the paramedics hadn’t been close by. She tells them they’d better order big for dinner.

Wendy shows up and introduces herself to Carly.

Sonny says he ran a background check on Finn, but none of his colleagues had anything to say, which implies there’s something to hide. He says he’ll help Finn, providing Finn returns the favor.

Michael asks why Joe and Carrrlos were estranged. Joe says they were very different people and wanted different things…sometimes. Sabrrrina says she actually dated Joe first. Joe says Carrrlos felt  abandoned when Joe left to go to medical school, and he feels like he failed his brother.

Franco picks up the tab for an elaborate dinner with Lucy and Scotty. Lucy asks what he’s going to do with the rest of the money. Scotty says it might be a good idea to retain a lawyer in case he becomes a murder suspect. Lucy seconds that, but Franco says no thanks.

Elizabeth tells Ric that Franco has worked hard to get his life on track. Ric says he’s playing her and Elizabeth says no, that’s him. She brings up how he lied to get her to marry him, and he counters with her lying to Jason. She says Franco was sick, but got better after treatment. She asks what Ric’s excuse is.

Hayden comes to the hospital. Naomi tells her she had a panic attack. Hayden wonders what precipitated it. Elizabeth walks in.

Carly asks Wendy what she does. Wendy says she works in a restaurant, but she wanted to be a nurse. Wendy asks how Jocelyn is and Carly says she’s doing well. Wendy explains that the kidney was more of a sale than a donation because she needed to pay for school. She says a friend of a friend hooked her up, and when she saw the story in Crimson, thought the donor must be her. Carly asks about her hospital records. Wendy says she had some serious post op complications and she could use help paying down the bills. Carly accuses her of looking for a payday.

Sonny asks Finn to take over Julian’s case. Finn says what then, and Sonny says Finn will “take care of him.” I guess we’re supposed to think Sonny means “kill him,” but I’ll bet that isn’t it. Finn says he’s not a hit man. Sonny says he’s not asking him to be. (Told ya.) He just wants Finn to make sure Julian can get to his arraignment. He says in return, he’ll get Finn a private plane and take him to where the drug is legal. He wants Julian’s progress sped along.

Wendy says if it wasn’t for her, Jocelyn wouldn’t be alive. Carly says she doesn’t even know if Wendy is really Jocelyn’s donor. Wendy shows her a scar and Carly writes a check. I thought she said she wasn’t going to do anything stupid? Carly tells her she’ll get more when Carly gets the medical information. Carly asks what Wendy’s blood type is. When Wendy says A/B, Carly says Jocelyn is B, so they’re not compatible.

Joe says he wants to help Sabrrrina and Teddy any way he can. Sabrrrina hesitates and he gives her his contact information. Sabrrrina tells him thanks and that she and Teddy are in a good place.

Scotty is aghast that Franco wanted to pay for Elizabeth’s kids’ summer camp. Lucy says she thinks it’s generous. Scotty asks what Franco thinks Jason is going to do when he finds out he’s been harassing Elizabeth. Franco says it’s not harassment when the feeling is mutual.

Hayden asks for another nurse. Elizabeth says they’re understaffed. Naomi tells Hayden to get her discharge papers because she’s feeling better. Hayden doesn’t want to leave her mother, since the killer is still free, but Elizabeth says don’t worry, nothing will happen on her watch. Hayden says except death by snark and Naomi suggests she was raised by wolves. Naomi asks Elizabeth about herself and as Elizabeth is talking, Naomi has another attack.

Finn asks what if Julian is really sick? Sonny says he’s heard Finn is a miracle worker and all he wants is Julian healthy for court. Finn says okay.

Wendy asks Carly not to call the cops. Carly asks where she got the scar. Wendy asks what difference does it make? Carly tells her to take the check and go.

Michael says he knows what it’s like to seek redemption from family and that Joe could have walked away and never looked back. He says Sabrrrina will eventually come around.

Carly and Sonny confer. Carly tells him that Wendy wasn’t the person they’re looking for, but she’s in it for the long haul. Sonny says they’ll do it together.

Naomi recovers. Hayden asks what happened. Naomi says she felt flushed, but it passed. Elizabeth leaves to get medication. Hayden says something nasty about Elizabeth and Naomi tells her to knock it off and that they should learn to get along with each other. What does Naomi care? Please don’t tell me we’ll find out these two are related.

Scotty says he doesn’t want to see Jason kill Franco. Lucy tells him not to overreact. Franco gets a call. It’s Elizabeth. She suggests a date tomorrow night. Franco says he’ll pick her up at seven. He hangs up and tells Scotty and Lucy that he and Elizabeth are officially more than friends. Ric bugs Elizabeth because he’s nosy.

Hayden wants to call her father’s attorney about Naomi’s condition. She thinks her father should know what’s going on. When she leaves, Naomi says her father won’t care – not the one she knows or the one she doesn’t know.

Tomorrow, Morgan forgets his meds, Julian wants more of the drug that gave him the heart episode, and Kristina says it was the best night of her life with Parker. Gee, sorry, Aaron.

General Hospital – Friday

Kristina surprises Parker with a room service breakfast. Parker says last night was a big step and asks if Kristina is okay. Kristina tells her it was the best night of her life. Parker says it was amazing for her too, but it must have been different for Kristina. Kristina says she now knows the difference between having sex and making love.

Morgan wakes Kiki. He tells her that he feels that things are falling into place. Kiki asks Morgan not to post anything about them on social media yet because she wants to talk to her mother first. She has to leave for work and Morgan tells her he loves her. She says, “me too,” and we all know what that means.

Dillon sits down with Tracy at the MetroCourt. He says they haven’t had breakfast together in a while and she tells him that’s hard when he spends nights in someone else’s bed. Tracy asks if she’s going to meet a young woman soon. She sees Sonny and Finn talking, and tells Dillon he just got a reprieve from her questions.

Griff tells Julian whatever caused his heart issues seems to have passed. He says the sooner Julian is out of there, the sooner his father will have justice, and so will Julian’s wife. He tosses Julian the divorce papers.

Laura says it’s been eight hours since Valentine went upstairs and all they’ve heard is a gunshot. She wonders if something has happened to Nicholas.

Ava tells Valentine she had trouble sleeping after Valentine killed Nicholas. He says it was regrettable and she asks why he let her live.

Finn tells Sonny he’ll do everything in his power to make sure Julian stands trial, but he won’t do anything unethical. Sonny says he respects Finn’s code, since he has one of his own. When he leaves, Tracy asks Finn what’s going on.

Griff tells Julian that Alexis dropped off the papers while he was sleeping and apparently doesn’t want to talk to him.

Valentine says he let Nicholas go out fighting like a Cassadine. He tells Ava she didn’t ask for any of this, so he wants her to be comfortable. He’s surprised that she doesn’t seem alarmed. She says she understands vendettas and to Google her. He says she’s trying to find common ground so he spares her. She tells him that he went to a lot of trouble to be king of the castle, and what’s a king without a queen?

Kiki waits on Dillon at the MetroCourt. He says he can go somewhere else if he’s making her uncomfortable, but she says she doesn’t want him running when he sees her. She asks if they can’t go back to being just friends.

Tracy says Finn hasn’t answered any of her calls and she’s worried about him. He says he appreciates the kindness, but his problem is being handled. She says good, because she hasn’t forgotten about the backgammon rematch.

Sonny asks Aaron how business is going and he says great. Sonny want to talks about Kristina – man to man. Aaron says he’ll be happy to. Sonny says Aaron gives a good first impression and seems sincere. Aaron says the business thing was Kristina’s idea and he doesn’t want Sonny to think that’s the reason he got together with Kristina. He says he respects Kristina and wants to assure Sonny that he’s all about supporting her. He says they’ve been honest with each other about their pasts.

Parker says she was in Kristina’s shoes once too. Kristina says her mother told her she was just confused, but last night was far from confusing. She says she felt something she never felt before. Parker says it was a beautiful moment, but it was just a moment, and when the convention is over, she has to get back to what’s left of her life.

Doc tells Laura that Valentine is using psychological tactics and explains what he thinks Valentine is doing. He says not to worry about Nicholas, but figure out a way that Lulu can slip out. Lulu and Dante discuss who’s going to leave. She thinks that Dante just wants her out of harm’s way. That might be true, but she is the smallest and probably the most agile. Dante makes Lulu repeat the tunnel directions again. He asks if she’s ready to go and says they have to create a distraction.

Ava says she can offer Valentine a lot of advice, and in exchange, she sits at his right hand and in his bed. He asks if it isn’t a ruse and she tells him to frisk her. Woo-woo!

Kristina says she and Parker have a connection. Parker agrees, but says their relationship is all kinds of inappropriate and she has things to figure out, as does Kristina.

Kiki tells Dillon that she and Morgan “made things official” last night, and she didn’t want him to hear about it elsewhere, which I guess means Facebook. He congratulates her. A table full of guys calls her over. They act rude. One of them says it’s his birthday, and he wants Kiki to help blow out the candles. Dillon overhears.

Finn gets to the hospital and starts looking over some folders. Griff startles him and asks why he’s looking at Julian’s chart. He adds that Finn doesn’t seem okay.

Mystery cronie goes to Julian’s room. Julian tells him he needs more of whatever it was that gave him the heart episode, so he can postpone the arraignment again. He says when Ava gets back and he makes bail, he can make some moves. Julian’s guy is concerned this might not be a good idea.

Ava says of course she’s using Valentine’s attraction to her to her advantage. She says she always picks the winning side and suggests he strip search her. They start making out. While he’s distracted, she whacks him with the huge family history book. Valentine starts yelling.

Downstairs, Dante uses this to his advantage and starts an argument with Doc. Lulu runs out while a guard is busy with them. One of the guards brings Ava back downstairs. I don’t know why she didn’t play this out longer. There are a whole lot of better ways this could have gone.

Kristina says they all have things to figure out – it’s called life – and if she waited until she was sure about everything, she wouldn’t do anything. Parker says as long as she can tell herself Parker is the only woman she’s attracted to, she’ll never have to explore if she’s really gay.

Aaron tells Sonny that he knows about the guys who have treated Kristina badly and he’d never disrespect her. Morgan comes by and Aaron goes back to work. Morgan tells Sonny everything is great, and he and Kiki are giving their relationship another shot. He says nothing is going to come between them this time.

Dillon goes over to the table that was hassling Kiki, telling him he’s the manager there while he’s waiting to get his MBA. He says someone heard them mentioning PCU and thinks they might be underage, so he has to go through the formality of looking at their IDs. I’m so glad I moved to NYC when the drinking age was 18. Not that anyone ever checked my ID anyway. Dillon asks whose birthday it is, and they admit that it isn’t any of them. Kiki, who’s carrying a cupcake with a candle, says she guesses no one is getting the cake then, and she and Dillon eat it instead.

Griff tells Finn that he’s worried about him. Finn says thanks, but he has work to do. Griff says as a peer, he has to report anything amiss. He says they can figure out a way to approach the board and save Finn’s reputation, but Finn says he has nothing to confess.

Ava tells Laura that Nicholas is dead. Oh come on. The last time he fell off a balcony, he ended up in England, so who knows? Maybe he bounced back to Port Charles.

Kiki tells Dillon those jerks have been bothering her all summer. They come close to flirting. Dillon says he needs to get back to breakfast and she thanks him for the assist.

Sonny tells Morgan that hardships will be thrown at him in life, but he knows to reach out now. Suddenly, Morgan realizes he left his meds at the hotel. Sonny offers to go get them and reminds Morgan of how important they are.

Kristina says maybe she’s not into labels. Parker says she can’t embrace “no labels” if she’s avoiding the questions herself. Kristina says if Parker wants to pull back, she can’t pin that on her. She says no one questions high school sweethearts who are couples throughout their lives, and Parker says but they’re not in high school and they’re not a couple. Kristina asks her if it would be so bad if they were a couple?

Ava tells Laura and Doc what happened upstairs. Laura is pretty freaked out. She asks if Ava actually saw him fall and Ava says yes. Laura starts to cry and Doc holds her, telling her they’ll get through it. Valentine comes downstairs. He says he was willing to take Ava up on her offer, but now he’s going to end her life.

Dillon sits back down. He tells Tracy that he and Kiki are just friends and she laughs, saying from the look of it, that will never be enough for them. Kiki calls Morgan to tell him she loves him. She realized she left him hanging with that “me too.”

Finn tells Julian whatever it was, he seems fine now, and turns him over to Griff. Griff says it might have been a panic attack, but Julian says he thinks something is really wrong. Finn tells Sonny that Julian has the all clear and Sonny says he’ll get the plane ready for tonight.

Kristina accuses Parker of getting her out of her system and then wanting nothing to do with her. Parker says they both know it isn’t going to work. Kristina wants to know why they just can’t let tomorrow be tomorrow and kisses Parker. Sonny sees this from the stairway on his way to Morgan’s room. I’m surprised his eyes don’t pop out of his head like a cartoon.

Lulu gets lost in the tunnels. She trips over a skeleton. Great. I guess someone else got lost a while ago.

Laura, verging on hysteria, starts lecturing Valentine. She says he claims to hate the Cassadines, but acts just like one of them. She says Nicholas wasn’t like that and would have welcomed him into the family. She tells him she’s never going to cooperate and he might as well kill her too. Valentine says this is what happens when you don’t cooperate and raises the gun. Doc intervenes and gets shot.

On Monday, Kristina sees Sonny, Hayden asks Finn about where he’s getting the drugs, and Laura asks Doc if he can open his eyes.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital – Thursday

Nathan tells Maxie that CJ is Claudette. Geez, that was quick. I figured there would be weeks of behind-the-back stuff.

Kristina and Aaron stay at the picnic grounds after the fireworks, making out.

Curtis tells Nina he’s struggling with her Crimson concept of objectifying men. Nina says that’s the point, so men see how it feels. She tells him Julian will be on the cover. She says she can’t think of anything sweeter than Julian naked on all fours on every newsstand in the country.

Paul tells Anna it’s after midnight on July 4th, which makes it the 5th, but I have no idea why this makes anything worse.

Alexis makes up something about feeling sick and Julian backs off.

Claudette says she wanted a fresh start and thats’ why she changed her name; it was just a happy coincidence that her job interview was with Maxie. Nathan doesn’t believe it and says she’s lying the way she always does. Claudette tells Nathan he needs to let go of his anger and claims the universe brought them all together. She says she needs closure and Maxie asks what she has in mind.

Kristina and Aaron bore me to tears talking about nothing. Kristina tells Aaron her father anonymously funds the fireworks. When he asks why, she tells Aaron that Sonny is a mob boss.

Julian says Alexis seems fine, not chilly or clammy the way people with nausea really are. Because he’s a medical professional.

At the MetroCourt, Curtis asks if Nina would reconsider him being on the cover. He says he wants to own it and wouldn’t trust Julian anyway. Nina says she has Julian where she needs him. She tells Curtis about Alexis being arrested instead of Julian. She says she’s Julian’s alibi and he’s very grateful, but if he gives her any trouble, she can be more precise about the time he was with her. Curtis tells her he used to be a cop and not to get on the bad side of the law for the likes of Julian. Nina thanks him for the warning.

Claudette says Nathan needs closure because of his anger. She adds that Maxie only got his version of the marriage. She thinks maybe their paths have crossed so he can see she’s changed. Claudette says that Maxie liked her when she met her, but Maxie says that’s before “CJ” had Claudette’s baggage. Claudette says that the universe has brought them together for closure and she tells Nathan she’s not the only villain. She says only one of them made a huge, irrevocable mistake.

Aaron says when he first met Sonny, all he knew was the coffee and the restaurant, but then he did some research. Kristina says he must know the allegations about Sonny, and Aaron says he’s only been convicted once. Kristina says a lot of the stories are true, but none have anything to do with her, because her father separates business and family. Aaron says he’s only interested in her. He gets the feeling she’s uneasy about something else though. She says sometimes she can’t believe this cute, funny, sexy guy is into her. He kisses her and asks if that answers her question. She asks him to take her back to his place.

Alexis says despite how she looks, she needs to sit down. Jordan can’t get ahold of any of the judges. Alexis says everything is pinballing in her head and it’s affecting her stomach. Julian tells her to calm down.

Aaron and Kristina go back to his room. He says he doesn’t want to be another thing she regrets and there’s no pressure. She asks if he feels like she’s pressuring him. They start making out. Song part as they move to the bed. Zzzzz…

Nathan says now Maxie has met the real Claudette. Claudette says she’s spent years improving herself while obviously he’s still immature. Maxie says they should all sleep on it and she’ll see Claudette at work tomorrow.

Nina works her laptop and Curtis says she obviously loves her job and she’s a woman who has it all. She tells him about hiring Claudette and he says he’d like to get back in the police force. Nina says she’ll give him a reference if need be.

Alexis prattles on about Kristina. Julian asks if she’d like some tea and she says great idea. Anna doesn’t know how long Alexis can stall. Jordan says she’s doing everything she can. Alexis speaks into the mic, saying she has to get out of there because she has a bad feeling. As she’s about to leave, Julian grabs her from behind. I gasp, and my husband asks what’s wrong. Nothing in my world, but can’t you see Alexis is being kidnapped by a lunatic?

Nina says Curtis is the answer to her problem and she doesn’t have to answer to Julian anymore. She says Curtis is good at talking to people and getting what he wants. He says maybe, but what he really needs is a job. Nina tells him he’s hired.

Maxie says maybe Claudette is right, that fate brought them all together so they could work things out before the wedding. Claudette says if Maxie has any questions, she’s an open book. Nathan tells her to do everyone a favor and leave. When she’s alone, Claudette smirks to herself.

Aaron gets out of the bed as Kristina sleeps. Okay, I guess he’s up to some kind of no good. Never mind, he just got a glass of water.

The only thing they can hear in the truck is the tea kettle. Julian finds the wire. What a ^)!@#^)@$%! this guy is. He keeps his hand over Alexis’s mouth. Jordan calls for a couple of units to get to the house and of course the truck won’t start. Julian says she’s betrayed him for the last time and Alexis kicks him in the cojones. He’s only stopped for a second though.

Claudette takes something that looks like a jewelry roll from her suitcase and looks satisfied. Nathan tells Maxie he doesn’t believe this is a coincidence. Maxie says she doesn’t either. She says she used to be a woman like Claudette and tells him about her affair with Lucky. She says it would never happen again, but she became competitive and even pretended to be pregnant. Maxie says Claudette is threatening them, so she had to back off. She says if she’d thrown fuel on the fire, Claudette would have gone to the police. She wonders if Claudette found her lover. Maxie tells Nathan not to give Claudette power and act first.

Aaron tells Kristina she called him Parker in her sleep. She says it must have been a dream. Aaron thinks Parker is over Kristina, but not the other way around. She says she was asleep and didn’t know what she was saying. He says he likes Kristina a lot, but senses there’s more to the story.

The police bust into Alexis’s house, but she and Julian are nowhere to be seen. Paul finds the wire on the floor. Julian takes Alexis to the docks. No surprise, since it’s where all bad things happen. He says one loud noise and he’ll end it immediately the way he did with Carrrlos. Julian starts whining, saying he realized she was wearing a wire and he made a call in the kitchen. His people found the surveillance van and disabled it, so no one can follow. Well, I don’t think it takes Sherlock Holmes to figure out where they would be headed. Alexis tells him not to make it worse. He says he would have saved her from prison and what did she do in return? He says all he ever did was try to change and give her his heart. She says if he ever loved her, don’t do this. He says she betrayed him, so now she’s going to die by the same knife her mother was killed with. Then he goes on about how he told her to get rid of the dagger in the first place. Oh, that’s right, blame the victim. Julian says Alexis is going to die because she couldn’t love him enough. I didn’t think I could hate Julian more than I did, but I do. And I’m not even that crazy about Alexis.

Curtis tells Nina her offer is generous. Nina says taking care of her employees ensures their loyalty. She tells him to come to her office first thing in the morning, and all will be revealed.

Aaron says no judgement, he just wants to know what’s going on. Kristina says all her relationships have been messy, including the one with Parker. She says he deserves to know the truth.

Nathan asks Maxie what the plan is. Maxie says obviously Claudette has a plan in motion. She says usually something like this happens because the ex-wife wants the guy back, but since she doesn’t, what does she want?

Claudette opens another suitcase. On top is the wedding photo of her and Nathan. She hugs it to her chest.

Jordan puts out an APB. Anna finds the evidence bag. She says Julian is going to use the dagger on Alexis. I gotta say, it is pretty cold.

Alexis says when they find her dead, they’re going to arrest Julian. He says they won’t find the body. She begs him not to do this to their daughter. He says he won’t tell Sam anything, but Alexis set the wheels in motion. If she’d just believed in him, they’d all be free. He says he has no choice. She asks if he wants to kill his own child.

Tomorrow, Carly finds out about Jocelyn’s transplant, Molly wants to know where Alexis is, and Aaron asks Kristina if the thing with Parker is over.

General Hospital – Friday

Spencer is down for the count after winning the hot dog eating contest. He suggests everyone leave him and save themselves. He talks dramatically about dying. Laura points out to Doc that Spencer talks very casually for someone who just lost his father.

Sonny has news for Carly about the transplant donor. Sonny gives Carly some documents and tells her that someone named Ramona left after Jocelyn’s transplant, changed her name to Teresa and moved. He thinks she can shed some light on things. Carly says some things should be left in the dark. Sonny says they can move ahead or get rid of the evidence. Carly is torn between walking away and finding out information that could be helpful to Jocelyn.

Kristina tells Aaron that she doesn’t have the greatest track record when it comes to picking people she can trust. Kristina says Parker was her professor, not her ex, and she was the one who wanted more. Aaron asks if that’s why she took a break from school and she says partly. He says everyone has their whatever. Really, he said it that way. And the phraseology actually works. Kristina’s phone rings. It’s Molly telling her to get home now.

Anna brings Paul the empty evidence bag. She’s certain Julian is going to use the dagger on Alexis and tells Jordan to be careful approaching him.

Julian whines that Alexis gave him no choice. I hate when he starts that whining stuff. She asks if he wants to kill his own child. She tells Julian he needs to think and goes on about the baby and what a good father he is, even if he’s batsh*t crazy. He says he knows she’s not pregnant and there was never any baby. She says he saw her take the pregnancy test, but he accuses her of somehow faking it. He says she made him the best man he could be and then destroyed him. He says that man is gone and in a moment, she’s going to be gone too.

Jordan explains about the wire to Molly and Kristina. Both of the girls blame the PCPD for what happened. Jordan swears they’ll find Alexis and bring her back safe. Good luck with that since Julian has like a million hour head start.

Alexis tells Julian that she’s going to make him look her in the eye when he kills her and then he’ll have to look at his daughters. Sonny appears out of nowhere and tells him not to move. I never thought I’d say this, but I love Sonny at this moment. Usually, the best I can say is he’s not annoying me.

Carly talks to Teresa. Teresa says she understands that Carly wants answers, but she doesn’t have them. She says she’s done a lot of transplants, so how is she supposed to remember? Carly says it’s the last one she did. Teresa says she doesn’t know anything about illegal organs. Carly says she’s not a cop and it’s not being recorded, but she’s a mother with resources who will stop at nothing.

Laura tells Doc that part of her wants to leave it alone and not interfere with the grieving process, but another part knows something else is going on. I guess they haven’t tried eavesdropping or checking Spencer’s phone that he seems to have glued to him.

Nicholas says Helena won’t let Jason and Sam take him back to Port Charles. Sam says Helena is dead, but Nicholas says she’s still there and they were foolish to come back after she cursed them.

Laura goes through various scenarios that have happened with Spencer that don’t make sense. Doc says it doesn’t sit well with him either. Laura thinks there’s something more going on.

Nicholas and the gang wait out the storm. Ava tries to extract herself from the whole thing. Nicholas tells her not to waste her breath. He tells Jason and Sam that they should just SKYPE with Jordan after the storm and let him go.

Molly walks into all the cops at her house and wants to know where her mom is.

Sonny tells Julian to drop the knife. Julian says by the time Sonny shoots, he’ll have cut Alexis’s throat. There’s a struggle and Julian drops the dagger. Alexis, who is down on all fours, sees it.

Teresa tells Carly she got word when an organ transaction was to take place. She knew when and where, but not the particulars of who. She said she’d always dealt with the same guy, but a woman came for Carly’s daughter’s transplant.

Spencer leaves Nicholas a message. Doc walks in and tells him he’ll be free to go soon and asks to talk man to man. He says he’s worried about Laura and that she’s bottling up her feelings about Nicholas. He says Spencer might be the only one who can help her. He says it might help her to talk to Nicholas’s voicemail too, and asks if Spencer will share his phone.

It goes dark at the castle and Nicholas disappears.

Molly and Kristina talk about Alexis and what a scumbag Julian is. Kristina says they should have staged an intervention instead of going to the wedding. Molly is nearly hysterical, thinking Julian will kill Alexis.

Struggle, struggle, struggle, and bon mots between Sonny and Julian. Alexis stabs Julian in the back…literally.

Molly says her dad used to be the DA and has connections and maybe he can find out what’s going on. Aaron knocks on the door. He asks Kristina why there’s a cop on her doorstep, and she says her mom’s psycho husband took her hostage. She says she knows he didn’t sign up for this level of crazy, but he says he wants to help.

Julian is still breathing and Sonny tells Alexis to pull herself together. She asks how he knew they were there. Stupid question. Where else would they be? The MetroCourt? He says he talked to Anna and figured it out. Anna, Jordan and the rest (♫ Here on Gilligan’s Isle! ♫) show up. Sonny tells them what happened, but changing it, saying that he stabbed Julian.

Teresa tells Carly that organs for children are hard to come by, and since it wasn’t her contact, she wanted nothing to do with it. She says the woman nearly scared the soul out of her and describes Helena. The woman told Teresa to see to it Jocelyn got the kidney. She’d be well compensated, but she was never to talk about it. Carly shows her a picture of Helena ans asks if that’s the woman.

Nicholas goes to the wine cellar. Jason goes hunting for him.

Spencer says Laura doesn’t need his phone, but Doc says it’s something he can share with her. Spencer suggests Doc leave them alone. Laura comes in and says Spencer is free to go. Doc realizes Spencer has two cell phones.

Jason checks the wine cellar. Nicholas is lying on the floor.

Julian is wheeled into the hospital. Paul asks what happened and Anna says Sonny happened. Ha-ha! At the docks, Alexis wants to go home, but Jordan says she needs a statement. Sonny asks if it can wait, and Jordan tells her to come in tomorrow. Sonny tells Alexis he’ll take her home and she thanks him.

Teresa says that’s her. She says the money just showed up in her account when she’d never even given the number to Helena. She tells Carly that she freaked out so badly, she took Helena’s money and left town. Carly tells her Helena is dead. Hmm…

Jason brings Nicholas back from the cellar. Ava thinks Jason did something to him, but Jason says he found him that way. Nicholas says his head aches and he’s dizzy. Ava tells him it serves him right for abandoning her and he says he was going to find her later. On the side, he tells her he has no clue what happened, but he did pocket the cell phone.

Spencer claims it was his first phone from Nicholas and it’s a comfort. He says he thought it might have special powers to contact Nicholas. Laura says there are a lot of outgoing calls to the same number and there are just as many from the same number coming back. Methinks the jig is up.

Molly runs in, telling Kristina and Aaron what happened according to her father. Kristina suggests they all have a scotch and Alexis will know psychically and return home. Alexis walks in and says they don’t need to do that. Kristina thanks Aaron for all his support and he leaves. Alexis tells them she’s fine and Julian won’t be a problem anymore

Julian is stabilized. He opens his eyes and wonders what he did to Alexis. Please don’t tell me it will turn out that he has a brain tumor or DID or a split personality.

Sonny calls Carly, who tells him about the information Teresa gave her. She thinks it’s a dead end now, since Helena is gone, and I give her a D- in creative thinking. In the hallway, Teresa makes a call, telling the person it’s Ramona calling. She tells them about her conversation with Carly.

Nicholas tells Ava he’s getting out of there and getting Spencer.

Laura asks who Spencer has been talking to, and he pleads the fifth. She asks what happens if she presses redial on his phone.

Sam asks Jason if he thinks Helena is involved.

Carly tells Sonny that Jax got his own way in spite of himself. I don’t remember back that far and have no idea what she’s talking about. Ramona/Teresa says Carly wont learn the truth unless whoever she’s talking to wants her to know.

Jason says Helena is dead, but he doesn’t think they’re alone on the island. Nope. We see they’re not.

On Monday, Finn tells Hayden to stay away, Spencer says Laura can’t handle the truth, and someone else is on Cassadine Island. I think Helena is alive and will never die. There’s a bar she and Faison hang out in on their off time.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital – Thursday

We’re on a staycation and actually went out, so I only saw the last twenty minutes. Here are the takeaway points to consider.

Julian still didn’t confess, and Anna wants Alexis to wear a wire; Franco and Nina did not get back together; Kiki is still with Morgan; Finn is very sick in his jail cell and Hayden is sneaking around the hospital trying to help him.

And I ask this question: Why is Julian suddenly styling his hair like Littlefinger from Game of Thrones?

General Hospital – Friday

Hayden is dressed in scrubs, taking something out of the mail bin at the hospital for Finn. Her back is to Elizabeth, who asks what she’s doing. Dr. Mays calls Elizabeth away before she can see who it really is.

Valerie asks Jordan if she did the right thing in letting Finn treat the baby before arresting him. Jordan says sometimes you have to weigh what’s important and the baby’s health came first. Curtis shows up to take Valerie out to dinner. TJ pops in next, asking Jordan why she didn’t tell him that Shawn is his father.

Julian tells Nina that Alexis is pregnant. Nina asks if Alexis will have her baby in prison, but Julian insists she’ll get acquitted. Nina says she was convinced that having a baby strengthens a relationship, but she was wrong.

Anna asks Alexis to wear a wire, but Alexis says she can’t keep her anger in check and she kicked Julian out. Anna tells her to kick him back in. Alexis says that even if she could choke out the words, he’d never believe her. Anna says that Julian is enough of an egoiste that he’ll believe she loves him more than her freedom.

Franco visits Heather. She asks him if the real reason he couldn’t work things out with Nina is the baby issue or is he having an affair with Elizabeth? He says he isn’t, and Heather says he wants to.

Dr. Mays says medical advancement in keeping people alive is a shame and I start thinking maybe it’s him who’s been killing off the patients. Elizabeth sees Hayden in her street clothes and wonders what she’s doing at the hospital.

TJ says he overheard a conversation and found out Shawn is his father. He wants to know why Jordan lied and she says she did what she thought was best and as a mother, she’d do it again. He says he was hoping for an acceptable explanation and now she’s telling him this? TJ gets livid and wonders how many times she’s going to lie to him and lists the lies she’s told him. He says she did the same thing to his father and Shawn. She tells him that everything she did, she did because she loved him and wanted to give him a better life.

Nina wonders why Julian is out drinking and not tending to Alexis. She says a supportive partner is crucial and that Alexis is probably high risk.

Anna says the only way Alexis can exonerate herself is wearing a wire to catch Julian. Alexis asks Anna if she thinks it’s safe. Anna tells her about trying to get something about Julian out of Carrrlos before he died. Alexis says the mess she’s in is her own fault, but Anna says it’s Julian’s. Alexis says she owes Anna an apology.

Heather says either Franco wants to sleep with Elizabeth or not. Franco says Nina confronted him and he had to admit there’s an attraction, but they have a messy history. He says they’re friends and he’s proud of himself that he has one. He says he’s also been working with Jake in art therapy. Franco asks about Jeff Webber and what she knows about Elizabeth. She says she doesn’t know much, but she doesn’t like how sad he looks. He says he doesn’t like wondering where his next meal is coming from. She says he’s working on his art again and his paintings will sell.

Hayden asks what it would take for Elizabeth to leave her alone and Elizabeth says, “answers.”

The guard calls for help when he sees Finn lying on the floor. Finn asks him to cancel the ambulance, saying he just needs rest. As soon as the guard leaves, he drops to the floor again.

Heather says she has money to give to Franco. He wonders if it’s pretend money and she says she’s not that delusional. She has money on the outside and says it’s no use to her in jail. She tells Franco that she has $1.5 million stashed away from a man who made her an offer she couldn’t refuse.

Elizabeth says Hayden’s behavior is suspect. Hayden says you’d think with three brats to take care of, Elizabeth wouldn’t have time to bother her. Elizabeth says she heard Hayden telling Finn that his secret is safe and she’s going to find out what’s going on.

Jorden tells TJ she didn’t want him to have to deal with everything that went wrong, like Tommy’s death. He says he’s an adult now. Jordan says that when TJ has children, he’ll understand how you want to keep them safe. He asks if that justifies everything and she says she just feels sad. TJ leaves.

Valerie tells Curtis not to give up on joining the PCPD. He says her boss doesn’t seem too keen on the idea. Valerie says if she wasn’t so hungry, she’d suggest they skip the meal, and Curtis calls the waiter over.

While watching Valerie and Curtis, Nina asks Julian if he remembers what it was like when you couldn’t wait to get home with your special someone. He tells her that his marriage is in trouble.

Alexis tells Anna she knew in her gut that Julian was lying about Duke’s death and eventually he confessed to her. She says she married him knowing what he did to Duke and that was wrong, even though he promised to leave the mob. She tells Anna she’s truly sorry.

Hayden finally gets in to see Finn. He says he’s lost feeling in his hands and she’s going to have to inject him.

Alexis says if she could, she’d change the way things went. Anna doesn’t think Julian would have changed his mind about Duke, but she still has a chance to make it right by wearing the wire.

Franco wonders how Heather got so much money. She says nothing illegal, but she had information and she was paid to keep her mouth shut. She says he also told her how to invest it and she made even more. She just wants Franco to continue to paint.

Elizabeth tells Dr. Mays the patient is resting comfortably and he says that will be all. She leaves him with the patient.

Hayden does her best to inject Finn, following his instructions. He has a seizure.

Jordan leaves a message for TJ. She says she knows he’s furious and has every right to be. She asks him not to turn the anger in on himself and do something he’s going to regret. She asks him to text her, so she knows he’s okay, and says she loves him,.

TJ approaches Curtis. He says Curtis might as well be a stranger. Curtis says he’s concerned about TJ. Valerie steps away to give them privacy. TJ says Jordan never tells him the truth and he overheard Shawn is his dad. He says that means Curtis isn’t his uncle either.

Alexis calls Julian and asks him to come by tomorrow and talk. He says he thought she wanted him out, but she says now that she’s calmed down, she realizes that they need to discuss everything.

Finn recovers and Hayden says he scared her. Finn say he scared himself. He apologizes for how he treated her when they first met. She tells him apology accepted and he says she saved his life.

Elizabeth goes into Dr. Mays’s patient’s room and sees Mays on the floor. She calls for help.

Jordan talks to herself, hoping that one day TJ understands she loves him.

Curtis tells TJ he’s a man now, and he needs to understand things from Jordan’s perspective. TJ says she sent him to live with Shawn without telling him that Shawn was his father. Curtis says TJ needs to sit down with Jordan and listen to the whole story.

Alexis tells Julian she’s tired right now, but asks to get together tomorrow. He says he’ll text her in the morning. She takes the wire from Anna.

Hayden says Finn put a lot of faith in someone he barely knows. He says desperate times call for desperate measures. She says she’ll see him tomorrow. He says he’ll make it through the night because of her.

Still calling for help, Elizbeth does CPR on Dr. Mays. Franco stands in the doorway and watches.

Tomorrow, Obrecht accuses Griff of being the mercy angel, Tracy tells Finn she has good news, and Kiki and Morgan go on a picnic.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital – Thursday

Nathan wakes from a bad dream. Maxie tells him he was talking about a shooting. Well, he is a cop. That’s not exactly weird. She asks what he was dreaming about, but he says he doesn’t remember. Maxie whips out her tablet to show him pictures from the Nurses Ball. He asks what’s up with Griff being her escort. She explains she was going to spring Nathan, but Griff said he couldn’t leave the hospital and attended in his place. She also tells Nathan that Griff is a priest. Griff comes in with Nathan’s discharge papers.

Bobbie tells Carly that Lucas is stable but unconscious. Carly asks how this could happen and Obrecht tells her to ask her friend Finn. She leaves them both perplexed. Monica tells them Lucas’s vitals are good. Carly marches over to the desk and wants to know what Obrecht is talking about. Monica explains that Lucas’s blood test showed a muscle relaxant only used during surgery. She tells Carly there’s an investigation going on.

Finn shows up at Windemere. Hayden asks if he’s there to yell at her some more and tells him about Nicholas. Finn says apparently it’s not a good time and he hopes everything works out. He’s about to leave and Hayden says he came all this way, so what does he want? He gives her back the check. She says he could have mailed it, so why go all the way to Windemere?

Elizabeth tells Jordan that she has information on Hayden connecting her to the disappearance of Nicholas. Really? Isn’t Elizabeth a known liar at this point? Hello? Remember Jake Doe? Elizabeth says that ever since Hayden came into Nicholas’s life, she’s been concerned. She says Hayden’s past is catching up with her, giving her a reason to kill Nicholas.

Jason tells Sam he’s not running, but he’s not sitting around waiting to be arrested either. He’s going to find out what happened to Nicholas himself. Sam wants to come, but he tells her no. He says he’s about to become a fugitive and she’ll be his accomplice, and what about Danny? She says he loves staying at the Quartermaines. Jason relents.

Griff says he just needs to do a final check on Nathan and then he can sign the release. Maxie says she’ll get started on the paperwork and goes out to the desk. Griff asks Nathan to be honest with him. Nathan asks if he’s really a priest.

Carly can’t believe that Obrecht is accusing Finn of injecting Lucas with a drug. Obrecht reminds Carly about her and Finn sneaking around in the records room. Monica says that two other patients have died under suspicious circumstances, and Obrecht adds they were under Finn’s care. Carly says it doesn’t make sense, and Obrecht says maybe Lucas wasn’t the intended target.

Jordan asks what motive Hayden would have? Elizabeth says she can’t say for certain that Hayden was involved in her father’s ponzi scheme, but she profited from it. She tells Jordan about the diamonds, that Nicholas sold one and Hayden was furious about it. Jordan says maybe that’s a motive, but why is Elizabeth sticking her nose into it?

Finn apologizes for his outburst and says Hayden isn’t responsible for her father’s actions. He tells her that his foundation had been set up to fight a disease that his wife suffered and died from. He says today is her birthday and she wouldn’t approve of him keeping the check. Hayden says normally she’d refuse to take it back, but she’s strapped for cash right now. Finn asks for a glass of water and when Hayden goes to get it, he nearly collapses.

Obrecht says it was Bobbie’s room that the attack happened in. Carly says even if it’s all true, they have no reason to suspect Finn. Obrecht says he left his last job under a cloud of suspicion and there were rumors of drug use. Monica refuses to hear that.

Elizabeth says she wants Hayden away from the family, especially Spencer. She asks if they’re looking at any other suspects except Jason. Jordan says while Hayden has motive, she also has an alibi and Jason doesn’t.

Sam and Jason show up at the hospital. Sam tells Monica it’s hard to see Lucas the way he is and Monica says they’re doing everything they can.

Nathan tells Griff there’s something weighing on his conscience. He says he’s lying to Maxie and wants advice. Griff says maybe Nathan could be more specific. Ya think?

Maxie talks to Sam about Lucas and tells her Nathan is being released, adding that Sam is fired. She’s decided to put the whole Claudette thing behind her. She said Nathan getting shot has put everything in perspective and she wants to concentrate on their future.

Carly tells Jason it’s been a bad day. They discuss Nicholas’s disappearance.

Monica tells Sam and Jason that she’ll keep Danny for as long as they need her to.

Carly overhears Obrecht saying she’s going to pull all of Finn’s patient files and flashes back to seeing his syringe works in his hotel room.

Hayden brings Finn the water and asks if he wants her to call for help. He asks for his bag. They banter a little and it’s pretty good. They have a nice chemistry between them. He asks her to open his case and give him what’s inside. He needs to give himself a shot.

Maxie comes into Nathan’s room and Griff says Nathan can be officially released. Maxie gives Nathan a change of clothing. She said she forgot something at the desk, but she really wants to talk to Griff. She tells Griff they have some unfinished business.

Finn says it’s not what Hayden thinks and she says she realized that when he didn’t heat anything in a spoon. He tells her that he has a type of diabetes and thanks her for her discretion. She says what discretion? and jokes that she’s posting it on YouTube. Ha-ha! He thanks her again and tells her good luck with Nicholas.

Jason and Sam arrive at a cabin belonging to Sonny. Jason remembers he has to call Elizabeth because he was supposed to see Jake tonight.

Jordan tells Elizabeth she can’t arrest Hayden for a crime she clearly didn’t commit, but thanks her for the information. Jason calls Elizabeth. He tells her he won’t be able to see Jake tonight, but everything will be fine. She tells him not to make it worse for himself.

Sam makes a timeline using Post-It notes. They go over the events that happened after they got to Windemere. Jason maps out the position of the furniture and says it didn’t sound like there was a fight.

Elizabeth shows up at Windemere and tells Hayden she still has stuff to pick up. Really? How much stuff could she have had since everything was lost in the fire.

Maxie thanks Griff for escorting her to the Nurses Ball. She also thanks him for saving Nathan’s life. He tells her she’s welcome and says he has to get to his patients.

Monica tells Obrecht to keep her suspicions about Finn to herself. She says Obrecht is only out to get petty revenge. Obrecht wonders why Monica is defending him since he’s obviously disturbed.

Carly tells Bobbie the whole thing makes no sense. Bobbie says they’ll figure out who did it. Carly sees Finn enter the hospital.

Jason says it doesn’t feel right. He goes back to the previous fight he’d had with Nicholas and how the furniture was moved, but says they didn’t wreck the whole room. He says this time, the entire room was trashed.

Jordan goes to Windemere. She tells Hayden she has more questions, but not about Nicholas’s disappearance. She says it seems Hayden might be in possession of diamonds that are registered. Hayden says she already told the Feds she had nothing, but go ahead and call the FBI. Jordan says they’re already here.

Griff asks God why Nathan was put in his path.

Maxie says Nathan even looks amazing in sweats. Well, yeah. She starts talking about the wedding plans and he stops her. He says before they get married, there’s something she needs to know.

Finn goes to the chapel where Carly finds him. I swear, no one ever gets any peace in there. What’s wrong with this picture? He asks how Lucas is. Carly says she wants to talk about his so-called diabetes and what he was shooting up. She says she knows he’s been lying to her.

Tomorrow, Carly tells Finn she should call the cops, Elizabeth tells Hayden she’s going down, and Monica tells Obrecht to back off.

Here’s what I’m thinking. Finn is the one with the disease and he’s experimenting with a drug on other people. Either his wife also had the disease too, and that’s how all of this started, or she also died from one of his experiments. Or maybe I have no idea what I’m talking about.

General Hospital – Friday

Jordan leaves to meet the Feds. Hayden tells “smug little cow” <snort!> Elizabeth that she’s behind this, and Elizabeth says yep, she is.

Brad talks to an unconscious Lucas, asking him to come back.

Monica talks to Dr. Mays, who actually shows some concern. Obrecht says if she was still in charge, the maniac who tried to kill Lucas would be behind bars. Monica says Obrecht has been on a witch hunt with Finn since he got there. Obrecht says somebody has to care. Dr. Mays says Monica has done more in three weeks than Obrecht did in three years. Has it really been that long? Obrecht says Monica should have insisted on autopsies. She says Lucas might pay for Monica’s indifference with his life. Mays asks if Obrecht thinks the others were injected. Obrecht says Finn left his last job under auspicious circumstances and there were rumors of drug use. Monica says there were rumors Obrecht used to be a man. Ha-ha!

Carly bugs Finn while he’s in the chapel. He’s surprised that she believes Obrecht over him. She tells him to convince her she’s wrong – with the truth this time. Finn says Carly crossed the line and she’s being manipulated. He says the rumors from his old hospital are wrong; he’s not a drug addict. She says he’s keeping something from her though, and he says he is.

Jason thinks the room was trashed on purpose to look like there was a fight. Sam asks to cover up what? and he says that’s what they have to find out. Sam says the surveillance only covers outside the house and since there are tunnels, there could have been ten guys waiting for Nicholas. Jason says they should be concentrating on the why, not the how.

Spencer tells Laura he can assure her that Nicholas is never coming back. Hey, remember that painting? Think it has anything to do with this? Spencer says a fall to the rocks would be fatal and Laura says Spencer wasn’t there, so he doesn’t know what really happened. She says she really doesn’t want to think about Nicholas falling out a window. Spencer says he didn’t mean to upset her and his teachers tell him he can be too blunt. I’ll bet.

Elizabeth says that Nicholas told her about the diamonds, so after Hayden killed him, she went to the police. Hayden says she didn’t kill him, reminding Elizabeth that she has an alibi, and Elizabeth says she probably hired someone else to do it. Elizabeth says the diamonds prove she profited from her father’s crimes and Hayden doesn’t want to listen to any more, but the Feds come in, so she has to stay put. Okay. First of all, I highly doubt Elizabeth would be allowed to stay there while she’s being questioned, and secondly, why does the fact that Nicholas had the diamonds prove anything about Hayden? Doesn’t that say more about Nicholas? Especially since he sold one? Isn’t he the one looking bad here?

Jordan says the agents are allowed to search the place, and if they want, question Hayden. Jordan has to go back to the station. Elizabeth asks if there’s any news about Nicholas, but Jordan says no. Hayden asks Elizabeth if she ever gets tired of her own hypocrisy and brings up both her keeping Jason’s identity a secret from him and her knowledge of Nicholas having Hayden shot. Elizabeth totally ignores this, saying she’s going to take her sweet time collecting her stuff and one way or another Hayden is going down today. I am going crazy wanting to punch her through the TV screen.

Brad continues to talk to Lucas, who is going to awaken soon just to tell him to shut up. Brad says he can’t promise to never make another mistake, but Lucas has made him a better man. He says he loves and needs Lucas, and asks him to squeeze his hand if he hears him. Nothing.

Monica says the police have been notified and the internal investigation is continuing. Obrecht asks if she told them about the other two patients. She says she’ll let them know herself. Monica tells her, don’t you dare. Mays says she’s just trying to make Monica look bad. Obrecht asks if he’s sucking up or is there an inappropriate relationship going on? I don’t think he’s Monica’s type.

Finn won’t give Carly any particulars, but says if she wants him out, do what she needs to. She says she needs a reason to trust him. He mentions that he’s the one who helped Lucas. Carly says why doesn’t he wake him up then and Finn says maybe he can. They both go out to the desk where Obrecht, Monica and Mays are still arguing. Finn gets on the computer. Mays tells Finn that Lucas isn’t his patient. Everybody wants it both ways today.

Monica says as grateful as she is that Finn helped Tracy, they can’t keep second-guessing the other doctors. Finn wants them to look at the computer screen and recommends an antidote. Obrecht suggests he wants to finish the job he started and finish off Lucas.

Doc joins Laura at the park and she introduces Spencer to him. Spencer asks if he’s there in an official capacity, but Doc says no. Spencer goes off to play with his drone. Laura tells Doc that Spencer seems detached and Doc thinks maybe he’s hiding behind logic.

Sam thinks Hayden is the obvious choice in who pushed Nicholas out the window, but Jason doesn’t. Sam wonders who else would want Nicholas to disappear. Jason says the Quartermaines and brings up the lawsuit. Sam says that just made Jason a prime suspect all over again.

Elizabeth says Hayden is afraid of what she’s going to find. Hayden tells her that Nicholas wasn’t above lying to her and there are no diamonds. The Feds come in the room and say Hayden has some serious ‘splainin’ to do.

Finn suggests that Obrecht doesn’t want Lucas to regain consciousness because he might point the finger at her. Monica thinks maybe they should listen to him about Lucas. Obrecht infers Monica will be complicit in Lucas’s death. Carly says Finn saved Tracy and she trusts him more than any of them.

Brad asks Lucas to squeeze his hand again and he does – barely. Lucas opens his eyes.

Elizabeth asks if they found the diamonds. The agent says no, but they found a list. Hayden says Nicholas was aware of the diamonds and it must belong to him. She says he was obsessed with her father’s assets, and he let Elizabeth in on that. The agent says they’re going to test the paper for DNA and tells her not to leave town. When they leave, Elizabeth says who knows what else they’ll find? and Hayden will be in prison soon. She says she’ll be back to get her stuff later. I think Hayden should change the locks. This is starting to infuriate me. Elizabeth no longer lives there, showed up out of the blue when Nicholas disappeared (hmm…) and now won’t leave. Whatever’s going on, I’ll bet she’s in on it.

Hayden calls the bank to close her account. She starts to leave, but Elizabeth is on the porch. OMG – I can’t stand her.

Doc and Laura talk distractions. He says he used to paint as a therapeutic exercise, using it after his marriage to Lucy imploded. He says focusing on codes also helped him to deal with it. Laura asks if he’s implying she should take up a hobby. He says not necessarily, but wants her to know he’s there if she needs him. She says if Nicholas is dead, she’s responsible for Spencer, but she doesn’t know where to start.

Jordan looks over the paperwork from Nicholas’s disappearance.

Sam wonders if Nicholas trashed the room and committed suicide. Jason says he wouldn’t do that to Spencer and why would he launch himself through the window rather than just opening it? Jason thinks they’ve been looking at it entirely the wrong way.

Brad gets Dr. Mays, but there’s no further response from Lucas. Carly yells at Lucas to wake up and he tells her don’t shout. That’s right, he had to wake up in self-defense.

Doc tells Laura that talking in the neutral way he is, might be helping Spencer to cope. He asks her if she’s accepted what’s happened. She says there’s still hope since no body has been found. In this town, it doesn’t even matter if a body is found. Doc tells her she can always talk to him as a friend or a professional. She says she’s had a lot of losses in her life, but this is different. She says it’s not the first time, and tells him about leaving Nicholas behind when she ran from Stavros. When she met up with Luke again, she never told him because it was too painful, but years later when a bone marrow transplant was needed and no one matched, Nicholas saved his sister’s life. She says Nicholas loved and forgave her and she feels like this is all her fault.

Jason says what if the current didn’t pull Nicholas in?

Stupid asshat Elizabeth pushes Hayden back into the house and they start physically fighting.

Lucas asks how long he’s been at the hospital, and Brad tells him just one night. Dr. Mays asks if he knows what happened to him and he says yes.

A woman walks into Windemere and asks what in the world is going on? It’s Hayden/ Rachel’s mother.

Laura says what if she can’t handle things and Doc says to ask her friends, starting with him.

Jordan asks for a warrant to arrest Jason.

On Monday, Sam asks Jason where Nicholas’s body is, Jason says Nicholas is alive and playing all of them, Nathan tells Maxie he killed someone, and Jordan interviews Lucas.
