What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Oh no. The president is expected to speak in 15 minutes. Should I even bother? You know this will probably be a long one.

At the funeral, Sonny tells everyone that his son is gone and most of them blame him, but they can’t blame him more than he blames himself. Sonny says Morgan’s life wasn’t easy, and Morgan deserves to be at peace, but that can’t happen because of what he did. He knows how to make it happen though. He takes out his gun.

Nina is talking on the phone with Nathan. She says she has everything under control.

Valentin approaches Laura on her way into Windemere. He says he doesn’t have any keys and can’t find the caretaker.

Scotty joins Ava for a secret meeting. He’s annoyed that she picked a place that doesn’t serve alcohol. She says she’d expected him to carry a flask. He asks why she’s wearing black, and she says she’s thinking of going to Morgan’s funeral. Well, she’d best hurry up, since it’s pretty much over. Scotty says he knows she switched Morgan’s medication, but Sonny and Carly don’t. She says it’s only a matter of time before they do.

Sonny puts the gun down. He says violence smothered his son’s life. Morgan had a future in front of him, but he won’t have the chance to do what he wanted because of Sonny. Sonny wants to make it clear that no one except him is responsible and looks pointedly at Carly. Jordan interrupts, asking if he’s confessing. He says he has to get this out first. Jason approaches him and says this is a bad idea.

Sonny goes to Carly. He talks about her asking him to change and to stop the cycle of violence. He apologizes for breaking his promise and says now their beautiful boy lost his life. He tells Michael that what he said was right – Morgan always fogave. He tells Michael not to beat himself up. He’s the one who should have protected Morgan. He says he’d do anything to trade places with Morgan., so he could be sitting next to his mom in church. He says the only thing he can do is to take responsibility for his actions. He’ll be sorry the rest of his life, and do everything to atone for it.

He takes the bullets out of the gun. He holds out his hands and tells Dante to do what needs to be done.

Laura tells Valentin she’ll be gone before the day is out. He says he extended an olive branch, and she says he knows what he can do with it. Ha-ha! Feisty Laura. He tells her if she changes her mind she’s welcome to stay.

Nina says she loves her brother but he’s a worrier. We see she’s talking to Charlotte, who’s sitting on the floor in Nina’s office. Nina tells Charlot while Nathan is making plans, they’ll play. Charlotte wants to play paper dolls, and Nina says she can definitely make that happen.

Ava tells Scotty about what Lucy said. She’s concerned that if she makes a wrong move, Lucy will go running to Sonny. She says if Lucy brings the pills to Sonny and Carly, they’ll know she switched them. Scotty says he’d lay low. Ava says there’s no statute of limitations with Sonny, and if he finds out, she’s dead. She tells Scotty he knows what needs to be done. He says she needs a dye job and the first freighter to Cuba. She tells him that they have to get the pills.

Jordan says she’s not going to arrest Sonny here, but wants him to come in for questioning. Sonny, Jordan and Dante leave. Michael asks Carly if she’s okay. She says she’s fine and Sonny made his choice. What’s done is done.

Valentin says he can’t wait for Charlotte to move in with him. To get any new audience members and viewers with short term memory loss up to speed, Laura responds, “the house you stole from my son whom you killed.” Doc is at the door, and Valentin says welcome to my home. Doc wants to know how it’s his home. He says he’ll let Laura explain. It belongs to the Cassadines, but she’ll always have a place there.

Carly talks to Nell about the reception and tells her to cancel the room. She says she wanted justice for Morgan, but she’s not sure this is what she had in mind. Speaking of the funeral, was no one going to the cemetery? Or were they just going to keep the casket in the house? There was never any mention of burying it and several people left early.

Dante tells Sonny that he needs an attorney, but Sonny just wants it over with. Sonny goes into the interrogation room, and Jordan takes Dante aside.

Jason hands a cop some money and goes into the interrogation room by the other door. He tells Sonny that he’s making a mistake.

Well, ABC is going to cover the president. I may as well go back to looking at pics of that underwater restaurant in the Maldives that I will never be able to afford to go to.

Doc asks Laura how Valentin made a claim to the estate. Laura says it’s a long, sad, misogynistic story. She asks if he wants to help her pack. He says, let’s just get out of here. He tells her they can brainstorm on what she’s going to do next. She says she’s moving in with Dante and Lulu. Doc tells her that she’s welcome to stay with him.

Nina and Charlotte are getting along great. Charlotte makes a purple paper doll and Nina says purple is her favorite color. Valentin shows up with purple tulips. What a coincidence. He says he gets to sit with not just one, but two beautiful ladies.

Ava says Scotty knows Lucy’s sweet spots, and can distract her and get the pills. He asks what’s in it for him.

Kiki tells Dillon that she needs time to herself to sit with her feels and memories, and say good by to Morgan in her own way. She tells him she’ll see him later. She leaves. Nell does damage control on the phone. Bobbie asks Michael what he thinks of Nell. He thinks she’s great and she’s been supportive of Carly. Bobbie is like, hmmph!

Carly tells Jax she can’t believe Sonny confessed. Jax says Sonny doesn’t like violence, but has no problem using it, and doesn’t consider collateral damage. He says Sonny is smart, but he doesn’t think Sonny got it until today. Carly says what about Morgan’s brothers and sisters, and what about Avery? Ava will get full custody. Jax says it will hurt some people, but Sonny did the right thing. Today he took the first step in protecting his family

Jordan gives Dante the option to sit this out. Jason tells Sonny that Diane is on the way. Sonny says he’s making a full confession and will gladly go to prison. Jason says under no circumstances is he to confess to anything.

Yep, here it comes. The State of the Union. Sigh….

At least it’s only Monday.

Vanderpump Rules

The gang gathers in Lisa’s office. It’s World Dog Day and Lisa brings along Nappy, a little one-eyed terrier. Jax asks if there’s going to be alcohol. Lisa discovers that Kristen has gotten an invite. Brittany is ready to punch Jax for spreading rumors about her and Kristen. She tells Scheana that she doesn’t even want to be around him right now. Scheana thought that maybe since he’d been with Brittany, he was being more respectful, but she takes that back now. Scheana invites Brittany to stay at her apartment. Where’s Shay these days anyway?

Tom and Schwartz go for some much needed relaxing time at the spa. Yes, I’m being sarcastic. Do these people even work?

Katie visits Stassi. Stassi says it’s her first apartment where she isn’t living with someone or her father is paying for it. They talk about World Dog Day, which is going to be at the local dog park. Stassi says she tried working for Lisa once and it lasted four hours. We flash back, and she says it’s number four on the list of things she’s scared of. Katie is hoping that it doesn’t turn into the Hunger Games of bridesmaids when she has to choose.

Tom and Schwartz talk about the wedding plans. As Schwartz is talking about cutting corners. He doesn’t want a cake. I hope Katie plans a cake anyway. Seriously. WTF? Tom asks if he’s sure he wants to do this and thinks maybe Schwartz and Katie should get some pre-wedding therapy.

James takes Scheana aside at SUR. He says obviously the night didn’t go well, referring to the OK! Magazine party. He claims Scheana came at him, but she says he approached them and started insulting them about not working on their summer bodies. He apologizes and she suggests he apologize to Katie as well. Although she accepts his apology, in her interview, Scheana says she doesn’t buy it, and sure enough, in his interview, James says it’s bullsh*t.

Lala is having lunch with her mom, Lisa. Not that Lisa. She says she wishes she didn’t have to lean on her mom so much, and Lisa tells her that’s what moms are for. Lala says she thinks she’s turning into a vicious person and Lisa says that’s not her. Yes. It is. Lala says she doesn’t feel good about it after she’s mean, and her mom says it probably brings her back to being bullied herself. Lala says she knows there’s a family history of drinking problems (and problems with naming their children ridiculous things like Lala). She says she keeps it to a two drink minimum. Really? They must be pretty strong drinks. Or twenty ounce drinks. Lala rags on her co-workers, and Lisa says she has a tender heart, but a tough exterior, which makes perfect sense. Not.

Carter and Kristen are having dinner at their apartment. Kristen wants to invite some people over after the World Dog thing. Kristen is annoyed about the rumor that Jax is spreading. She says she and Brittany had a few wasted kisses, but she really doesn’t remember anything. 100% though, she didn’t do that.

The rumor about Kristen and Brittany is flying around everywhere. Even the cooks at SUR are discussing it. It’s like that part in Bye, Bye Birdie when everyone gets on the phone to talk about Hugo and Kim going steady. Scheana tells Lisa that it’s not right that Brittany is only there a couple of weeks and now everyone is giving her the side-eye. Lisa agrees that it’s really not fair. Brittany approaches Jax. She’s angry that he started this, and he tells her to get over it. She says it’s upsetting and he says he didn’t mean to hurt her feelings. In the interview, she says she knows he likes to make up things, but to do it to her is the worst. Jax says she’s making it more than it is, and she tells him she’s done, but I’m not sure with what.

Lisa asks Brittany if she’s okay. She says she knows what happened, and Brittany says she feels like he’s tarnishing her name. She tells Lisa what he said isn’t what happened. In her interview, Lisa says she doesn’t regret hiring Brittany, but she sometimes regrets not firing Jax. Brittany starts to cry, and Lisa tells her to stay strong. Chin up and all that.

In the morning, Scheana asks Brittany if she’s going to kick Jax’s ass. Hey, there’s Shay! Brittany goes home and loves on the dog. Jax is still in bed and tells her he’s sleeping. He says she’s the one who’s keeping the story going, and she says it’s about her. She tells him that he exaggerated hugely, and she doesn’t understand why he’d talk about her this way. He gets loud and says everyone is wrong. She asks why he said it, and he says because it happened. She says it didn’t happen, and if he’s sorry, he needs to act like it. Ditch that guy already, Brittany. You have a job. Two jobs. You don’t need him as a third.

Katie explains how she’s going to do a bridesmaids reveal to Schwartz. She tells him about how much the photographer costs, and he thinks maybe she should keep him in the dark. In her interview, she says she usually likes that he’s a cheapskate, but not this time. Their venue is called the 20 Miles House. She says it’s going to be everything and more. I tend to agree. It’s a huge old house out in the middle of a beautiful nowhere. The whole thing will be about 18K and they require a 5K deposit. August 17 is the date – it’s a Wednesday and cheaper. When that deed is done, Schwartz tells her that they should probably get a prenup. He says it’s like health insurance, you hope you won’t need it, but it’s a precautionary measure. Katie says unless he’s sitting on a trust fund she doesn’t know about, all he has are massive amounts of sweat pants and action figures. She agrees and he gets turned on by her sensibility.

James meditates on the balcony of his apartment. There’s a knock at the door and he skates over. It’s Lala. He shows her around his new place. He has a roommate, who’s renting him some space in his penthouse. He’s released both Pump Sessions and the single he did with Lala, and also released a video. He says if he stays focused, his dreams can take off. Lala tells him to stay on track and not let people throw him off.

World Dog Day is here! Katie has donation buckets and raffle tickets for the group to take around. Brittany says it’s going to be hard to get through the day with Jax. She feels like whenever she talks to someone, they’re thinking about what he told everyone. Lisa arrives and marvels at all the fabulous dogs. One of the managers tells Lisa about James being stupid at PUMP, and how some guy put him in a headlock. James is telling Tom his version of what happened, and says people attack him because they’re jealous. Okay. In her interview, Lisa says if James is at fault, she’s going to let him go. In his interview, James says he’s young and good-looking and people are jealous of him. I believe it if you believe it. He’s half right anyway. I’m not into crossed eyes and a scrawny frame.

James tries to apologize to Katie. She says he acts like an a-hole, apologizes, and then laughs about the person falling for it. He says they have their differences, but he’s trying to say sorry. She says she’s never done anything to him, and he’s a horrible person, adding that he should just mind his own business from now on and she’ll mind hers. He is truly a nasty piece of work. And Katie is far from fat.

The donations pour in. The dogs do an obstacle course. Kyle Richards comes by. Kristen brings Carter. Stassi wonders if there’s alcohol. Lisa says she loves dogs and everyone knows how she feels about bitches, referring to Stassi and Kristen. Lisa confronts James about the incident at PUMP, and James tries to defend himself, acting like everyone is just out to get him and he’s not really an idiot. Doggy yoga starts at two.

Stassi goes over to talk to Lisa, saying she’s going to disarm her with her pups. She has two tiny dogs that are very cute, and one is wearing a tiny hat. Kristen is with her, and Lisa alludes to the rumor, enjoying that she’s making Kristen uncomfortable.

Jax talks to Schwartz about the wedding. Schwartz says he’s excited, and Jax thinks he’s just saying that. Jax talks about the week long argument he’s been having with Britney. She thinks it’s more than just a silly rumor and because he’s betrayed her trust so much, it’s turned into something else.

Lisa makes a speech. She talks about the Yulan Dog Festival, and tells everyone to say no to the dog meat trade and celebrate their furry friends. She feels the event has been a success. Everyone who was invited has shown up and then some.

Kristen says Brittany is the best thing that’s ever happened to Jax, and he’s ruining it. She tells Jax that he has an awesome girlfriend and he’s messing it up. He acts like he doesn’t know what she’s talking about. She says a drunk kiss isn’t having sex. He says it’s his relationship and his problem. Kristen says he’s pulling a Jax, and to just stop screwing people over that care about him. In his interview, Jax says Kristen wins, but they’ll always know what really happened. Kristen tells him not to hurt Brittany.

Next time, Katie picks her bridesmaids, Schwarz has a dinner and embarrasses Tom, and James gets fired…maybe.

The Real Housewives of the OC – The Reunion Part Two

We’re so bored with this stuff, they show us some behind-the-scenes scenes. Andy shows clips of the moments when the OC ladies got down and dirty in more ways than one. We flash back to some of the funny stuff, like milking the cows and explaining wet dreams to their children. A viewer asks if Vicki got her nipples fixed yet, but she isn’t saying.

Andy talks about new beginnings for Shannon. We flash back to the vow renewal and the move. This is counteracted by scenes from the party where David’s mother talked trash about Shannon. A viewer asks if the vow renewal changed things for her. Shannon says David’s emotion was heart warming. Shannon disagrees with any comparison to Vicki and Don. Vicki says Don thought their vow renewal was good for TV, while she thought differently. Shannon starts getting loud, and Vicki says in retrospect, she wouldn’t have put it on the show.

Andy asks if Shannon and David made a sex tape on their second honeymoon, and I tell him thanks a lot for that visual. He then goes around the room with the question. He asks Shannon if she thinks what her MIL did at the party was premeditated. She says yes, and hasn’t spoken to her since. Andy pretends that Grandma Donna is coming out, but everyone is used to his fake-outs now.

A viewer says that it was classic Tamra sh*t stirring for her to tell Shannon what Donna was saying. Tamra says she didn’t know Shannon was going to react that way. Heather speaks for her, saying Tamra wouldn’t have done it if she’d known how Shannon was going to react. Andy questions Vicki about how she said she felt sorry for David, and Vicki says you never forget about an affair, and always question what you lacked because it happened. Tamra says she would never be able to get over it. Well, look out, because Eddie is pretty good-looking and you can be a real shrew.

Shannon says she’s not the reason David had an affair, he is. She says they weren’t happy at the time, but there were other things going on in his life. Andy asks about the other woman and Shannon says she renewed her football tickets in front of them (they sit ten rows apart), but other than the one altercation in the beginning, there’s been no contact. Andy asks how things re going now, and Shannon says great; their marriage is solid.

Andy brings up how often Shannon says “are you kidding me?” Each woman’s over-used phrase or word is presented: for Heather, it’s by the way; Kelly, of course; Tamra, God/Jesus; Vicki, whoop it up; and Meghan, sperm. We see clips of them all saying these things a thousand times.

We move on to Heather calling Terry out on being an absentee father. We see clips of their vacation, Terry working too much, Heather discussing it with him, and ending with Terry saying he’s going to be a better dad. A viewer asks how much the new house cost. Heather says numbers aren’t relevant. When she won’t tell them, Andy asks Kelly, who says twenty million plus. A viewer asks if Heather’s life is so perfect that she really doesn’t have problems. She says right now it’s good, but it’s ridiculous to think there are never any problems.

Briana joins us straight from the night shift at the hospital. She and Vicki talk about how great their relationship is now that Brooks is gone. Briana says it’s good to be back in the OC. We flash back to Vicki getting her the hell out of Oklahoma, followed by clips of Vicki leading the single life for two minutes, and then meeting Steve. They’ve been dating for seven months now. She says her love tank is over-filled, and Briana thinks he’s amazing. He’s never seen the show, and Vicki says one of the qualities she wanted in a man was that he didn’t know her from TV. For whatever reason, when Steve sent Vicki flowers, Heather thought Vikci had sent the flowers to herself, writing about it in her blog. Vicki tells Heather that she took some of the pleasure out of it and Heather rolls her eyes, because when she does something nasty, it’s okay. Andy asks Tamra what she thinks of him, like this matters. A viewer asks why Vicki needs a man to be happy. She claims she doesn’t and is cool being alone, but Briana is like, no, and the rest of us agree.

We move on to Briana’s medical issues. She says while she was getting tests, she found out she had Lupus. A viewer asks if Vicki bribed Briana with the house. Briana jokes that it was a good bribe, but no. She says that just because her mother helps her, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t work hard, and people don’t realize that. Shannon gets called on the carpet for saying that Vicki bribed her, and she apologizes, because it’s sincere when it comes from her.

Since we can’t get away from it, they talk about Brooks some more. Apparently, there’s been some problems regarding integrity and the cancer charity Vicki was involved with, and the website has been taken down. Everyone puts in their two cents, and it actually doesn’t sound like Vicki did anything wrong, and there was some kind of opt-in if you wanted emails about insurance. They were also giving out some kind of bracelets and I laugh when Heather demands to know if people can get a bracelet without putting in their information. No, Heather, they just guess at what address they should send the bracelet. When Vicki points this out, more nicely than I just did, Heather isn’t sure how to react because she’s so obviously acting like a moron.

Before an argument can start, Andy thanks Briana for coming. Tamra follows her out. Tamra tries to talk to Briana about Kelly, saying Vicki traded Brooks for Kelly. Briana says Vicki needs someone in her corner. For the love of Jesus that you claim to follow, Tamra, leave this sick woman who just got off a double-shift alone. On stage, Kelly and Vicki sweat not to abandon one another.

We see some of Kelly’s malapropisms. We move on to her shock and offense tour, and see clips of her being incredibly nasty. We see the mess in Ireland with Tamra, and I wonder what I’d do if someone insulted how I mother my dogs. Probably not what Tamra did. Heather says that Kelly’s M.O. is behave badly, apologize, and say I’m not really like that. Kelly says there’s no shame in her game. Really. She says that. She needs to read more. She says at the time, she felt sorry, but not anymore. A viewer asks if Kelly has a drinking problem because all of the altercations involve alcohol. Kelly claims she doesn’t have a drinking problem. She says she went to court mandated AA classes after she hit her ex-husband to stop him from fighting. I literally LOL.

Kelly brings up Heather saying she’s not filming unless they get rid of Kelly. We flash back to the sushi dinner. Heather says she was horrified, but Kelly tells her that she’s not the boss. Kelly thinks they should call her “bossy pants” instead of “fancy pants.” Heather says the last time she’d seen her BIL alive was at that restaurant, so she had bad memories of it to begin with. She doesn’t elaborate on this, so I wonder, did they have an argument? Did he choke on a fish bone? What happened?  She says the place literally has paper thin walls, and it was her visceral reaction. We see a clip of her saying that she doesn’t care if they fire her, she’s taking off her mic and she’s done. Kelly points out the others who throw around the f-bomb. She does have a point. It’s funny though, how we all react badly to that one word.

Andy asks Kelly if she stands behind her behavior. She says they were in a private room and doesn’t seem to grasp how thin the walls were. Andy asks why she apologized at the time. She says how she was treated later changed her viewpoint about them. Kelly is asked if her daughter sees the show, but she says no. Andy asks Meghan what she thinks. She’s been pretty quiet for the most part, probably contemplating childbirth. She says that Kelly gets defensive, and when she gets defensive she plays dirty. Kelly says she didn’t know there were rules, which makes me laugh, but the rules are called common courtesy and she does get nasty when she drinks. Heather talks over Meghan and Kelly, telling Kelly about her pattern again. Kelly tells Heather that her pattern is interrupting her and interloping.

The Ireland insult to Tamra is brought up. Heather says that when she criticized Kelly’s parenting on the bus, Kelly got upset. Kelly says Heather didn’t apologize. Heather says she is now. Heather says the difference between them is she learns from her mistakes, and it won’t happen again. Kelly says she apologizes for saying what she did about Tamra’s daughter. A viewer brings up how many times Tamra has said similar things to other cast members and we see flashbacks. Tamra says none of those things were okay for her to have said, and she was hurt by Kelly’s remark. They go over Tamra pushing Kelly in the store since we didn’t see it. Everyone talks at once and Andy tells them to stop it.

A viewer says Kelly has an anger issue, but doesn’t Tamra have one too? Tamra says she’s a bad drunk. Kelly says apologies are flying. Vicki thinks everyone should just move on. Kelly says if she hadn’t had anger management lready, she would have thumped Tamra. I might pay to see that. She says she didn’t and restrained herself.

Andy asks if Vicki is the Buddha of the OC. Shannon says not in her part of town. Andy asks about Kelly being mean and far shaming on social media. Shannon brings up a picture Kelly posted along with the words “keep eating.”

Next time – The Reunion, Part Three – Tamra and Vicki tangle, Tamra calls Vicki and “old woman” (don’t worry, Tamra, you’ll get there), Vicki claims to have proof that David beat Shannon, Shannon walks off stage, and Heather tells Vicki that she should beg Shannon for forgiveness which doesn’t go over too well.

💋 A note about The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Mama Joyce and I have the same ombre sweater. In different colors, but it’s the same. I don’t know how to feel about this.

November 7, 2016 – Morgan’s Death Poses a Mystery, Vanderpump Rules Again, the OC’s Reunion Claws Come Out & an Atlanta Mention

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

We go back to Jason grilling Pete, and Pete falling to the ground after a shot is fired from somewhere. Jason calls 911. He goes through Pete’s pockets and takes his phone. Curtis appears, saying that’s one way to get rid of evidence. Jason says for all he knows, Curtis is the shooter. Curtis says he has the best alibi in the world, having just gotten his ass handed to him by Jordan. He says Jason was just talking with the only person who could implicate Sonny and now he’s dead.

Carly visits Sonny. She tells him that she found something important. She gives Sonny Morgan’s journal. She shows him how Morgan kept track of taking his medication. Sonny says something isn’t right. Morgan’s handwriting starts to become sloppy, and his thoughts are disjointed. Carly says there must have been something wrong with the medication.

Ava gets a text that someone (the caller ID says “Blocked”) knows what she did to Morgan. Lucy startles her and she says there must be another alleyway she’d like to skulk in. Ava says she’s meeting someone. Lucy says what a coincidence; she’s meeting someone too. Right now. She tells Ava that she saw her and knows what she did to Morgan.

Elizabeth has to ask Franco for a favor. She tells him that he’s inspired her, and she signed up for an art class. She shows him her sketch portfolio, and he says they’re really good. She’s very excited, and wants to make sure she stays in pace with the class. She wants Franco to pose for her.

Lulu shows Dante chocolate hand prints on the shirt that Maxie had to call in favors to get for her. She tells him if he’s going to get “his” son hopped up on sugar, at least teach him to wash his hands. Actually, if she wears that in Manhattan tomorrow, everyone will want one by next week.

Griff tells Valentin to stay away from his daughter. Valentin says it’s a misunderstanding, and Charlotte is his daughter.

Curtis tells Jordan if he’s rolling in the gutter, he’s in good company because she’s there with him. She starts to slap him, but he blocks her hand. Andre comes in and Curtis walks out.

Dante pours some wine for himself and Lulu. She says she was disappointed about not having another baby, but she’s over it. Whenever she sees Rocco, she knows how blessed they are. They have their son and each other. She can’t imagine how Sonny and Carly feel right now.

Griff says Charlotte is his daughter, and Valentin says they’ll see. Griff goes back to the table and Anna gives him the paper. Uh-oh. The look on his face isn’t happy. I had the feeling that Valentin was really Charlotte’s father a while ago.

Ava tells Lucy she’s nuts, and Lucy says that Ava is so busted. Lucy says she was in the neighborhood brokering a sale. She looked over and saw Ava and thought something didn’t add up. She wondered what Ava was throwing away. (I forgot about that!) She says that Ava looked guilty as hell while she looked for a trash can, and she just had to know. Imagine her surprise finding medication that belonged to Morgan.

Carly goes through the journal with Sonny. Sonny says it’s normal to go up and down, but not spiral. She shows him an entry about Bobbie’s birthday and another when he stopped himself from popping the guy who bothered Kiki. She says after that, something changes, and he’s obviously depressed. Sonny says he was manic, and she points out that every day he took his pills. She wonders why they weren’t working. Sonny insists he must have stopped taking them.

Jason talks to the cops, telling them he was talking to Pete when he got shot. He says he didn’t know Pete personally, but he used to work for Julian.

Jordan gives a condensed explanation of her conversation with Curtis to Andre. She says they share a lot of history. It’s scratchy at best and painful at worst, and Curtis knows how to push her buttons. Andre says he finds Curtis irritating. He was hoping to steal Jordan away for a quiet dinner. He says he’s going to attend Morgan’s funeral, and there’s a chance that Sonny, Carly, or both will unload on him. Jordan says she’d dreading it, but it’s a necessary evil. He says offering condolences while searching for evidence might seem hypocritical and Jordan says not to call her a hypocrite.

Franco asks if she’s going to share the drawing with her class. Dhe says they critique each other, and asks if he’s shy. He says in the art world, he’s a controversial figure, and the students might know they’re in a relationship if she shows them the sketch. He asks if she’s okay with that.

There’s no DNA match with Charlotte and Griff. Anna says she’s sorry. She says Claudette was obviously trying to protect Charlotte. Valentin approaches, and Charlotte runs to him. He tells her he’s happy to see her. He says he missed her, and she says she missed him too. Anna suggests she work on her drawing while they have an adult conversation. Valentin shows them Charlotte’s birth certificate. He says even though he wasn’t married to Claudette, he wanted Charlotte to have his last name.

Lulu and Dante eat Rocco’s Halloween candy. Lulu says to imagine dealing with the tantrum when Rocco realizes it’s gone. Dante gives her a piece of candy and she unwraps her old engagement ring. He says he wanted to get her another one, but he knows how she is about recycling. She says she doesn’t want another one. He asks her to marry him again.

Elizabeth says it’s okay with her if the class knows they’re in a relationship. Franco asks if she has any spray tan, but she says he can keep his clothes on. She wants to do a portrait. He asks why she was worried to ask him. She says in some ways a portrait is more intimate, and conveys the subject’s innermost thoughts. He says he trusts her even with those.

Jason and Curtis discuss the case. Curtis threatens to tell the cops about Jason taking the phone. Jason doesn’t care. Curtis says he’ll keep his mouth shut if he can look at it.

Lucy tells Ava that she found the lithium prescribed to Morgan. She says Ava took up with Morgan again, and maybe she’s the reason he was in the car. She says that Ava was tossing the evidence, and good luck convincing Carly and Sonny that she wasn’t. She asks what Ava thinks they’d say.

Carly tells Sonny that Morgan had written in a check mark for every day he took his medication. Sonny says that’s no proof. She says Morgan didn’t understand why it wasn’t working. Sonny says maybe he was covering his ass in case somebody read it, but Carly says it was private; there was no reason not to be truthful. Sonny says he’s going to check the medication and goes upstairs. Carly sees the envelope with her name on it. Sonny comes back downstairs and she asks him what’s up with the it.

Anna tells Valentin a birth certificate could be faked. Valentin pokes himself, drawing blood, and gives it to her on a napkin. This guy doesn’t fool around. He says he’s sure Charlotte will be safe with her in the meantime. he apologizes to Griff for the whole thing, and Griff gets testy. Anna says back into your corners until the test is done.

Lulu talks about how she and Dante found their way back to each other. She says even when she was steaming mad at him, she loved him. She tells him that she’ll marry him. Even though they’re already married. They kiss.

Franco poses as Elizabeth draws. He keeps talking and she keeps telling him to shut up. He gets up to look, and she says she knows it’s not good. He tells her she’s hot when she’s wrong, and that it shows vision and intent and boldness. She says she wishes she was bold in her life, and he tells her that she is.

Jordan says she’s tired of people making assumptions; she has a job to do. Andre says he was just kidding, and he hopes she finds something to close the case. She apologizes for overreacting. She says Curtis got to her, and she should know better. Andre says Curtis has an agenda every time he crosses her path, and he doesn’t like how Curtis makes her question herself. She says isn’t it true that only she can make herself feel a certain way? He says he’s not her doctor, but he thinks she’s cool and they kiss.

Ava tells Lucy not to do it, and Lucy says give her one good reason. She says Ava took off with Morgan, and this time it lead to his death.

Sonny blows off the envelope and tells Carly that the lithum is missing. Carly says that was the most important drug he was on.

Franco (who I almost called Todd) is getting antsy. Elizabeth puts her sketch pad down and moves to the couch.

Curtis looks through Pete’s phone. He wonders if any of the numbers are Sonny’s. The cops talk to Jason, and Curtis thinks about calling Jordan.

Andre tells Jordan that even a superwoman needs sustenance, and he wants to take her to a new Thai place. She leaves to get her stuff, and Curtis calls her phone.

Ava tells Lucy she can’t tell them; she’ll only hurt them more. She says they should remember the good times, and not be questioning Morgan’s behavior. She tells Lucy that Kiki is barely getting through, and it could destroy her. Lucy says she should have thought of that before. Ava asks how Lucy would like it if someone hurt her daughter this way.

Carly tells Sonny that it doesn’t make sense. Why carry a whole bottle? Sonny says if Morgan thought it wasn’t working, maybe he threw them away. Carly asks why keep one bottle and not the other?

Anna tells Griff that no matter what, the priority is protecting Charlotte. Valentin leaves.

Lulu admires her engagement ring and says it’s nice to have it back where it belongs. Dante says he was a little worried that she’d turn him down. They kiss some more.

Ditto Elizabeth and Franco.

Curtis starts to leave a message for Jordan, but Andre picks up the phone. He tells Curtis that the best thing he can do for Jordan and himself is to leave her alone.

The cop asks if Jason saw Pete get shot. He says nothing is missing, so they’re ruling out robbery, but wonders about the cell phone. Jason says it will turn up somewhere. I guess it doesn’t occur to Officer Barney Fife that a guy who worked for Julian could have been killed for his phone.

Lucy tells Ava that she won’t squeal about her tossing the meds, but she’s hanging onto the pills for safekeeping. Ava asks if she’s going to use them for blackmail, and Lucy says she hadn’t thought of that, but thanks. Lucy tells Ava that maybe she should consider coming clean, since someone else night have seen her.

Carly tells Sonny something feels off. Sonny says if Morgan thought the meds weren’t working, its the one he would have tossed. Carly says something is missing. Sonny says the medication isn’t why Morgan died. Carly puts on her coat. She says she can leave the journal, but he tells her to take it. She says Morgan loved them – it’s on every page – and wanted badly to make them proud. They should have done better, making sure he knew how much they loved him. Sonny tells her she’s a great mom and never failed. She says she did, but it’s too late because he’s gone. She leaves and Sonny is alone again.

Tomorrow, Elizabeth asks Franco to go upstairs, Diane tells Alexis that Valentin owns the estate, and Finn catches Brad in his lab. (Yay! Brad is back!)

Vanderpump Rules

Giggy! Why does Kristen look like she’s going to throw up in the opening credits?

Arghhh! Tom S. has a man bun. Things are hopping at SUR. Britney is now working there and it looks like that’s working Jax’s last nerve. He feels like his world has closed in. Please.

Scheana and Lala are at odds again, but Scheana is feeling like the rest of them are all working well together. Katie thinks Britney is fitting in, and it’s a better job for her than Hooters. Well, let’s hope the tips are bigger.

Lala has a small part in a Nicholas Cage film. In her interview, she talks about starring in her own porn film, and tries to make the title a play on words, failing miserably. Katie is trying to keep Lala and James out of her life, since they tried to ruin her engagement party. Britney discovers that the girls can’t talk and text at the same time. Peter has gotten a shave and a haircut and looks totally different. I’m not sure I like it.

Kristen is dating a new dude named Carter. She’s happy, since she doesn’t have to pay his bills. Kristen thinks she should wear a fake engagement ring when she goes out, but Stassi suggests that she wants to convince people she’s not a psycho.

Lisa is happy with James’s behavior. He’s been keeping his drinking and temper under control. Since his father moved back to London recently, she’s concerned that he’s going to get emotional and start drinking again. We flash back to some of James’s finer moments in alcoholism.

Jax talks about coming home to Britney and Kristen kissing, and not on the mouth. Tom says there’s no lack of bi-curious Southern girls in West Hollywood, but wonders why those two had to get together. He calls it the LA handshake. Really? This group never ceases to amaze me with their shallowness and lack of ambition. I don’t know if it’s the time period or the coast, but when I was their age, my friends and I were much further along in life. And a billion times smarter.

Lisa tells Jax how well Britney is doing at the restaurant. He agrees, but wishes they weren’t on the same schedule. Tom tells Lisa about Kristen and Britney, and Lisa thinks it’s bizarre even in their world. Jax says something about karma, but Tom says if karma was a real thing, Jax would be dead by now.

The gang gathers at Skybar for the OK! Magazine party. Schwartz feels like there’s a vagina mafia going on where he can’t voice an honest opinion. Kristen is annoyed at Jax for broadcasting things about her and Britney. She talks about how she’s made out with all of the girls. When Britney gets there, she insists it was nothing but kissing, and tells Jax to knock it off. In her interview, Britney talks about moving all the way from Kentucky and missing family and friends, and how she can’t imagine life without this group of girls now. I feel sorry for her if this is the best friend group she can get.

Tom tells Ariana about Kristen and Britney. Ariana says you can’t go to sleep around Kristen or that’s what might happen. She and Tom get ready for the party in the ladies room at SUR.

Schwartz is happy that Jax and Stassi are getting along. Jax says they’ll never be besties, but they have a rapport, and I’m surprised he knows what that means. He tells Stassi about Britney and Kristen. I’m already tired of this story. James and Lala show up. Lala says they always roll as a pair. They finally had sex and are over it, but they’re best friends now. For now.

They try to join the others, and Katie tells them they’re not at the table. James hovers around, taking their liquor. Katie tells Lala it’s not normal to want to hang out with people you’ve been talking smack about. Jax won’t even shake James’s hand, telling them to move along to another table. Lala says no one has been working on their summer bodies and James rudely asks Katie if she’s pregnant. Scheana smacks the glass out of his hand and tells him to get the blip out.

They leave, and Jax takes off after James. This didn’t take long at all. We’re only 23 minutes into the program. Jax doesn’t care if he goes to jail; he just wants to hit James. Stassi thinks Lala and James are aliens who have shape-shifted into humans. I hadn’t thought about that; maybe she’s right. Tom and Ariana arrive, and immediately get the news about the two idiots name calling everyone. Ariana says she just saw them, and they gave no indication of being antagonistic. Schwartz says they’re acquaintances and not friends, so who cares? Katie is annoyed at him for not being supportive. Translation: not wanting to kill them.

James is drunk already, and drinks to Schwartz and Katie. In his interview, Schwartz is tired of Katie expecting him to inherit her grudges, and says she’s backslid since Stassi came back. Tom goes over to James and asks wtf? He says James’s biggest enemy is himself and everyone knows how to push his buttons. Tom says he would have smacked James’s drink out of his hand too. He tells James that he’s like a Tourettes of insults. OMG – is that a pipe cleaner shaping Tom’s man bun? James keeps trying to justify everything. Tom says his parents are divorced too, but he doesn’t use it as an excuse to be a d-bag. James says he thought that his parents were going to get back together and starts crying. For the second time – please.

Katie tells Ariana she has a friend who’s passed along the information that Lala has a sugar daddy who’s married with kids. Ariana says she’ll treat it as a rumor until she knows for sure. Ariana goes over to Lala and says she cares about her. Lala is drunk already too, and basically makes no sense. She says she’s done and starts crying, saying it’s not what she came here for and walks away. If this isn’t what she came here for, why did she start it?

Katie isn’t thrilled with Ariana being friends with Lala. Tom and Ariana leave because Tom can’t deal.

Katie visits Lisa to talk about being her assistant. Lisa wants to start with her working six hours a day. In her interview, Lisa says Katie has been an exemplary employee, and she could use some help. Katie tells her about Lala and James calling her fat, and lets slip that Lala’s boyfriend has a wife and children. She tells Lisa how disgusting James was. She says she’s made a lot of allowances because of his parents and Max, but he’s pushing boundaries.

Jax and Britney have a new place since the studio got kind of tight. They talk about James and Lala. Jax says he’s never had so much hate toward somebody. Britney isn’t happy with Jax talking about her and Kristen. In her interview, she says she and Kristen did not hook up. She tells Jax that she’d better not hear about it again. In her interview, Britney says if he can’t shut his mouth, she’s going back to Kentucky and out of the relationship. Like she can’t do better. About a million times better.

Schwartz tells Katie that even if things don’t work out, they have to stay together for the dogs and the apartment. The girls are coming over, and he wonders if he should be social or go into hermit mode. Stassi tells Katie happy first wedding conversation. She’s brought special bedazzled cups for everyone, and is going to make festive bridal cocktails that she garnered from Pinterest. Katie has pretty much nothing planned except for her dress.

They talk about the previous night and Katie says she thought it was a bad dream. Stassi and Schwartz talk about pooping their pants and how it wasn’t as bad. Did I really just hear that? Everyone is tired of hearing about how James is going through a hard time. Stassi thinks that he and Lala only use 5% of their brain power. Schwartz is concerned that Katie and Stassi being friends again is making Katie a mean girl. He calls it a hater’s ball and says he’s not one of them.

Lala tells James that what happened last night was not okay. Lala talks about Scheana and I tune out. She and James discuss the other girls. Lala says she likes to call Katie “the blob” because she’s “blobbish.” Get that girl a dictionary, stat!

Lisa wants a talk with James. She asks what happened at the party. James acts like he was the soul of tact and friendliness, but Lisa isn’t buying it. He says he’s compelled to be an a-hole because they like to see him crumble. What? Lisa thinks he lashes out when he doesn’t get approval and acceptance, and doesn’t understand there are boundaries in life. She tells him she doesn’t get why he says he doesn’t care about them, but then won’t leave them alone. She asks how she’s supposed to put him back in SUR when he keeps acting like a little a-hole. She says it’s become difficult for her to defend him and make excuses.

Next time, James apologizes to Katie, Schwartz wants a pre-nup and the Britney/Kristen story continues.

The Real Housewives of the OC – The Reunion Part One

Subtitle: Beautiful dresses on ugly people.

I’m not crazy about Meghan’s off-the-shoulder number. While Atlanta sparkles and NJ shines, this group is very monochromatic. Everyone picked a solid color and went with it. The earrings are huge and cool though.

Andy starts with Vicki. He asks if anyone is medicated, but Vicki says she only took a thyroid pill. He talks about Vicki’s apology tour and how in the end, Vicki found herself where she started. We flash back to all that. In thinking about it, I don’t believe Shannon ever really moved on from the cancer thing. In Ireland when they were getting along, they were just drunk. Andy brings up Brooks, and Vicki asks, who? She says she was at a place when she was busy and she didn’t really pay as much attention as she should have. She says he’s a bad guy and she learned a lot. Heather brings up something Vicki said, and Vicki says there was a time when she thought he was her soulmate, and it was just drunk talk in Ireland. Vicki says she’s in a different place now, and they didn’t know Brooks like she did. She admits everyone was right and she was wrong.

Shannon says she’s steadfast in her belief that Vicki knew Brooks was lying. She claims Vicki told her that she had lied, but Vicki says don’t go there. Andy asks Kelly if defending Vicki without knowing her was a mistake, but she says no.

Andy asks why Shannon won’t forgive Vicki. Shannon says she has, but it doesn’t mean they need to be friends. Vicki tells her to get off her show. Ha-ha! Shannon says she had defended Vicki in the beginning, and Vicki says she told Shannon to call ding-dong. None of us, including Shannon, have any idea what or who she’s talking about.

More on Vicki, and how she was out, then in, then out again. Andy asks Shannon if she and Vicki will ever be friends again and Shannon says never. Moving on.

We flash back to Tamra’s training and her relationship with Mia, her trainer and spiritual adviser. Tamra says her halo is crooked, but since her baptism, her life has gotten a lot better. Andy brings up son Ryan and asks if she blames herself for his problems. She says somewhat, since he’s a product of his environment. Andy asks about her daughter. She still lives with her father, and occasionally responds to a text. Tamra is getting along with Simon now, and attributes it to their son moving back in with her. She says since accepting Jesus, her outlook on life is different and she’s more forgiving. She talks about still being imperfect. Kelly isn’t impressed, and says Tamra is two-faced, nice one minute and talking about her the next. Tamra says she was nice, until she couldn’t put up with Kelly’s crap anymore. Kelly says Shannon can’t own anything, although I don’t know how she got in there. Tamra redirects the conversation back, and says she was nice to Kelly until she brought up Tamra’s daughter in Ireland. We flash back to their altercations and when Kelly called Tamra a dumb f***. Kelly excuses that by claiming it was because Tamra didn’t understand what she was saying. Because we always clarify things by calling somebody a rude name.

The talk turns to Meghan’s pregnancy. She isn’t having a C-section and hopes to give birth naturally. The rest of the women aren’t so sure that will happen. We flash back to Meghan’s best IVF moments. Meghan gets emotional watching. They talk about Jim being absent for most of it, but Meghan says he has a job, what was he supposed to do? Andy asks Heather if Terry was more involved, but she says no. Kelly says Michael gave her the shots because she couldn’t do it herself. Heather tells us that her frozen embryos are immortalized in the frosted glass of her lovingly designed window. Andy asks if he can buy one.

They discuss Meghan’s disappointment at not having twins. She says it was hard and she was hormonal, but she’s lucky that she got pregnant at all with a healthy baby. A viewer wonders if Meghan will have the same love for her step-children as she will for her own baby. Meghan says the bond will be different, but she’d throw herself in front of a bus for any of the kids. She’d probably throw Vicki under the bus too. BA-DUM-CHH!

After the commercial, Andy says welcome back like we went somewhere. Next up is Kelly. We flash back to Kelly’s ups and downs with her husband. Andy says he thinks she’s one of the most polarizing Housewives ever. He asks how she thinks she came off. She regrets how she treated Michael, but has no regrets about anyone else. You can hear a pin drop. She talks about how Michael became controlling after their daughter was born. Andy asks what she’s learned seeing her marriage play out on TV, and she thinks it was therapeutic. Andy questions Tamra, who thinks if Michael was diagnosed as a narcissist, it’s impossible for their marriage to improve. Kelly asks if she has a PhD in psychology, and I wonder if the test came from the internet.

Oh yay, we’re covering Shannon’s 70s party. We flash back to Shannon’s friends being excessively nasty to Kelly, and Shannon kicking Kelly out of the party. You! Who? Ha-ha! It was like an Abbot and Costello sketch. Clips of the subsequent bomb of a lunch follow. Shannon makes some excuse for the two idiots she invited. Shannon tells Kelly not to flatter herself that she’d waste time setting Kelly up. Kelly wonders why Shannon would shove drinks down her throat too.

The remark that Vicki made to David is brought up, as well as a discussion on who got in whose face first. While Vicki did walk over to David, he started it. Shannon makes excuses for David, and Meghan doesn’t think he was out of line. She says maybe it’s the millennial in her, but she wants to be treated “like any other man.” No comment. Kelly says that Shannon should have asked her friends to stop harassing her. Andy says it did seem like they were gunning for Kelly and Shannon has to agree. Of course she adds a “but…” Kelly says that Shannon wanted to hear the gossip and did nothing to stop it. We flash back to Shannon digging for the details. Shannon makes more excuses.

A viewer asks if Kelly regrets the low blow about David cheating, and she says no. Shannon says that Kelly doesn’t fight fair, but Kelly says if Shannon wants to fight, she’s going to fight dirty, now that she knows Shannon’s character.

Andy asks why Shannon accused Kelly of cheating. Shannon says there was a rumor that she was with a married man. She says the guy was living with his wife, and Kelly talked about being engaged during her separation from Michael, the guy’s family was damaged. Shannon says she broke up a family by having an affair. Apparently the guy’s wife and Shannon did some talking. Kelly tells her to blame him. In deciphering this, it sounds like the dude told Kelly he was separated, but still living in the same house, which is sadly common nowadays. Kelly certainly wasn’t hiding their relationship.

Shannon asks what she could possibly gain by lying about Kelly, and Kelly says drama. Shannon says she’s opinionated and sometimes that comes with drama, but she doesn’t manufacture it. She say she hopes Kelly is proud of herself. Andy makes annoying faces during this exchange, like he’s chomping at the gossip bit.

Next time, part two, Kelly suggests replacing Heather’s nickname “fancy pants” with “bossy pants,” Briana talks about her lupus diagnosis, Vicki tells Shannon to calm down, Kelly calls Heather hideous, and Andy pounds his scepter on the ground and yells at everyone to stop it.

👠  A short word about The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Since they decided to squeeze this in on my already full Sunday night, I only jotted down a few takeaway points. Kandi has had baby Ace. He’s a real cutie and apparently a good baby. Neither Chateau Sheree nor Moore Manor is finished, although Kenya has moved in to her home. Sadly, she and Matt are having problems, and it sounds like he needs a little anger management. Kenya is also having a “soft opening” housewarming party, and next week, Porsha is showing up as an uninvited guest due to Phaedra’s plus one.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

I hope you got a chance to watch Vanderpump Rules: Secrets Revealed. My thanks to Bravo for changing the name of these extra shows from Lost Footage. My intelligence is insulted enough just watching these programs. Do they really think I believe they suddenly found a bunch of film behind the refrigerator like it was my prom pictures? (True story. My father found them two years after I moved away from home.) Often, Bravo saves the best for last, and the Vanderpump Rules show had a lot of fun scenes and behind-the-scenes clips. And a lot less angst. Most of it was everyone – gasp! – getting along.

General Hospital — Thursday

Ava wakes up on the couch coughing up a bloody feather and covered in blood. It’s a dream. Which is what I figured when she coughed up a feather.

Alexis comes home and Kristina asks how the business trip went. Alexis tries to make something up, but Kristina says she knows exactly where she was.

Paul goes to Sonny’s place. Carly tells him Sonny isn’t there and he says he’ll make do with her.

Anna is packing her weapons. She’s on the phone (I’m guessing with Robert), saying that she’s personally hunting down Carrrlos. Sonny is at the door.

Paul says he’s there about Carrrlos. Carly says they believe he’s on the run overseas. Paul says his office is doing everything they can to bring him to justice. He says they must be impatient to put this to rest. Carly says her only concern is Sonny’s safety.

Scotty calms Ava down. She tells him he’s not much use and he’s supposed to be protecting her. He says he didn’t know it was an invitation to her bedroom, and that he didn’t see anything. She asks what good he is and he says he asks himself that all the time.

Julian shows up. Ava doesn’t want to go back in the bedroom, so he asks Scotty to tell him everything that happened. Paul calls Ava and asks if she’s all right. She says no, that she just got another threat, but Paul’s phone isn’t working right. He says out loud it’s been on the fritz since — and remembers Anna borrowing it.

Sonny tells Anna she needs to keep busy and one way is tracking Carrrlos. She says the bug they planted must have been damaged because they couldn’t track him. Her suitcase pops open and Sonny asks if she’s expecting trouble or going to start some.

Kristina says that she called Parker and asks why Alexis can’t stay out of it. Alexis says she thought she knew her own daughter better than Kristina knew herself and she was wrong.

Sam and Jason bask in the afterglow. He asks her if she has regrets. She says that depends. They make silly talk and start kissing. Jason asks what’s on Sam’s mind. She says she was wondering if he remembered anything. He says no and that it felt natural, yet like a first experience, the best of both worlds.

Kristina asks what went on with Parker. Alexis says she doesn’t remember all she said, but she did ask if Parker influenced Kristina. Alexis says Parker set her straight, so to speak. Ha-ha!

Ava asks Julian what he thinks. He says a lot, but he doesn’t want to say in mixed company. Scotty goes to get bagels and find a final resting place for Tweety. Julian wants to get Ava a real bodyguard. He says the source of the message is obvious.

Anna tells Sonny to be honest for once and she knows that he has no intention of bringing in Carrrlos alive. Sonny says his goal is to send Julian to prison and once Julian is locked up, he won’t be disrupting Sonny’s business and family. Sonny says they have the same interests and there’s no use in Carrrlos being dead. Anna says he’s persuasive in Port Charles, but she’s not sure how he’ll be face to face with Carrrlos. They talk about the possibility of Carrrlos being in Ecuador. Sonny says he’ll meet her on the tarmac. Anna says if he so much as looks at Carrrlos funny, she’s going to have a problem with him.

Sonny leaves. Paul is on the porch. He asks Anna why Sonny was there.

Jason asks if it was always so intense between them. Sam says it was always quality, but this time it was different. She says she’s trying to be cool. Jason asks that they agree not to tiptoe around each other. Sam asks what they should tell other people.

Ava assumes Julian thinks Sonny did it and says she’s going to lay waste the Corrinthos organization. Julian says she has no back-up and Ava says she thought he smoothed things over. He says he’s working on it, but the organization doesn’t think they owe her any loyalty. He says Sonny didn’t put the bird in her bed. He might want her gone, but not dead.

Anna says Sonny is a friend of the family and it’s none of Paul’s business. Paul says her ongoing association with him makes it look inappropriate for his office. She says she’s going on a trip. Paul is wise to it and says her quarry is Carrrlos, and he knows Sonny is coming along.

Sonny tells Carly he has to leave for something important and time is of the essence. Carly thinks other things are more important than going after Carrrlos and that she knows that’s what he’s doing.

Alexis says no matter how many mistakes Kristina has made, she’s made more. She says that it’s her own fault that Kristina didn’t confide in her, and that somewhere along the line she made Kristina feel unsafe. Alexis says Kristina can always rely on her now and forever, and she’s sorry.

Jason wonders who would care and Sam says her sisters for one. He says they’ll tell people they’re starting fresh, rather than starting over.

Paul asks if Anna has allied herself with Sonny. She says she has no clue where Carrrlos is, since the only contact he’s had is with Paul. Paul says maybe she’s heard something. Anna says Paul is scared that Carrrlos will bargain for a lighter sentence by giving Paul up. She says she’s made peace with the fact that she might have to pay for what she did and suggests Paul do the same.

Kristina says she forgives Alexis and Alexis asks what they can do to keep communication open. Kristina says she’s afraid to talk to Alexis because whatever she says, she runs into a wall of Alexis’s expectations. Kristina says she doesn’t know who she is anymore. Alexis says she’s confused too, so they might as well be confused together. Kristina says it sounds confusing but good. Alexis asks what they’re going to do about Sonny.

Carly tells Sonny to let the Feds handle it. He says Carrrlos is in a place the Feds can’t reach. He says he has to do this personally. Carly says he doesn’t know what’s waiting for him, and that Carrrlos could have something bad waiting. Carly says with Sonny out of town, what if Ava uses the opportunity to take Avery?

Julian says he thought he’d handled things and Ava says the bloody feathers in her bed prove otherwise. She wants names and she wants to make them pay. Julian says with what? He says they look at her as a snitch whether she was or not, and she’s on her own. She asks if he’s deserting her too.

Kristina says she’s not sure anything needs to change with her dad. Alexis says Sonny loves her, but Kristina says at this point, at best it will baffle him.

Sonny says Ava is no match for Carly and she isn’t going to do anything. Carly says she has a bad feeling, especially after the last time Sonny came up against Carrrlos. He says everything will be fine, he has to do this, and to have faith in him.

Ava says she still has one card left to play — Paul. Julian says Paul has proven himself to be untrustworthy. She says he’s all she’s got and he cares about her. Julian says it will make her more of a danger if she gets police protection. He says he’s not going anywhere and nobody goes after his sister. He says now he knows what measures to take. She asks what he’s going to do and he says the next time they see one another, this will be over.

Anna says she’s not going to sit by and watch Carrrlos commit more crimes. Paul goes on about what it will do to their families if they end up getting locked up. She says her family deserves better than that and she wants to live in truth rather than die a liar.

Sam wonders what there is to eat. Jason says he has ketchup packets. She doesn’t want to face the world yet, so he says they’ll order in. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Carly and Jason says not right now, but she says it’s important. Sam comes out and everyone looks at each other.

Julian meets Hammer. He says he didn’t get his point across and he wants his sister left alone. He says whoever didn’t back off is going to be sorry.

Scotty comes back with the bagels. Ava thought maybe he got distracted by a tennis ball or chew toy. She tells him he’s fired as her bodyguard. He says she’s not dead, so his job was done, and she tells him to get out. He says he always lands on his feet and to enjoy her alone time. He tells her not to get her kids any pets. Ava tells him to wait.

Hammer says he delivered Julian’s message, but can’t help it if they weren’t persuaded. He says to tell them it wasn’t a suggestion, it was an order. He’s going to be running things effective immediately. I thought he already was.

Alexis says she won’t tell Sonny anything, although she suggests Kristina talk to him. Kristina says she’s rather have her father not know the truth than have no father

Sonny comes downstairs to see Carly is gone.

Carly apologizes for interrupting. She says Sonny needs Jason.

Paul says no one, least of all Duke, would want her to throw her life away, and her grief has impaired her thinking. He says since she’s incapable of thinking clearly, he’s going to do it for her. He starts to call the commissioner and Anna chloroform him. Since she just happens to have that handy.

Anna says she needs protection from no one.

Nina and Franco turn up the heat, Tracy comes out of surgery, and Andre comes to see Anna.

General Hospital — Friday

Nina has oysters, champagne and chocolate on tap. Franco comes in and says he thought she said there was a fire. She asks him if he can feel the heat. Woo-woo!

Dillon and Monica are fretting over Tracy. Griff says he was able to remove whatever and Finn is in her room. Finn is encouraging her to wake up.

Carly tells Jason that Sonny is going after Carrrlos.

Sonny tells Michael that he’s going away.

Paul lies on Anna’s floor, unconscious. Anna says he brought this on himself.

Finn is frustrated. He says since Tracy can’t hear him anyway, he’s gotten attached to her. He tells her he wants to win his Monopoly money back. Her eyes flutter open. He tells her congratulations she survived and has time to change her evil ways.

Anna tells Paul they’re both going to brought up on charges, but it will be worth it. Paul is still out, but his mouth is duct-taped shut. Before Anna can get out the door, Andre is knocking.

Sonny says he knows Dante has been asking questions and the less Michael knows the better. Michael says it doesn’t matter because he’s coming along.

Carly wants Jason to stop Sonny. She says he’ll listen to Jason. Jason says he used to, but why should Sonny take his advice now? Carly says that to Sonny, he’s still the same man.

Tracy says she feels like she was hit by a bus. Finn says she was; it’s called surgery. She doesn’t remember much, so he tells her about the seizure and that Griff performed the operation. He says she made it and she thanks him.

Dillon starts to think the surgery was a mistake. Griff tells him there was no other option. He and Monica tell Dillon she should be fine. Finn comes out and tells them Tracy is awake and that Griff did good work. He says she has a ways to go though. Griff asks Finn if he’s okay.

Dillon thanks Griff and tells Monica he’ll meet her in Tracy’s room. Monica asks Griff if there will be permanent behavioral changes and he says there’s no way to know yet.

Nina tells Franco to drink up and get ready for round two. He asks what’s up and she says she’s very happy. She thinks Dr. Lee will tell her she’s not going to have a problem getting pregnant. He says he thought they’d agreed they’re not having a baby. Nina says she figured she might as well finish the exam and they might have created a bundle of joy just now.

Andre says that Jordan has launched an investigation and asks how Anna feels about that. He thinks Carrrlos might say something. He asks if he can come in, but Anna says no, it’s not a good time.

Sonny says if he brings Michael, Carly won’t forgive him. Michael says he’s old enough to make his own decisions. Sonny says he needs Michael to help with Carly and the kids, adding there’s something Kristina isn’t telling him. He asks Michael to visit Morgan, but not let him know what’s going on. Michael says what if he refuses. Sonny says he won’t because he knows how important it is and he’s the responsible one. Sonny says he’ll look after Sabrrrina and the baby. Michael tells him to be careful

Carly tells Sam what’s happening and that she wants Jason to talk Sonny down. Carly begs Jason to talk to Sonny and Sam says it’s up to him.

Franco says he can’t believe Nina went behind his back and what part of not wanting kids doesn’t she understand. She says she thought he was just trying to spare her feelings in case she was infertile. He says he enjoys being around children, but the damage he sees day in and day out confirms his feelings about not having them. The phones rings. It’s Dr. Lee.

Dillon and Monica go in to see Tracy. Dillon says he and Ned could barely keep it together and even went to the chapel to bargain with God. He tells Tracy he loves her and that Ned is on his way. Monica tells her being the most hard-headed woman in the world has helped her this time. Tracy wants to tell her something. She tells Monica she loves her, and I tear up.

Finn is looking at himself in the bathroom mirror and he doesn’t look well. He needs his shot. He can’t get into his locker and gets frustrated. He finally gets it open, but Griff interrupts. He says he wants to thank Finn. Finn says this doesn’t make them buddies.

Jason goes to Sonny’s place. Sonny says he’s welcome there any time, but he’s on his way out. Jason says Carly talked to him. Sonny says unless he wants to help, they have nothing to say.

Andre asks Anna if she’s really in a hurry or is it about Jordan. Anna is like, huh? and he says maybe she’s uncomfortable with them dating, since Jordan is uncomfortable with his and Anna’s friendship. Anna says not at all, but she is in a hurry. Andre starts to babble. Paul makes a noise and Andre asks what that sound is.

Finn brushes Griff off. Griff says he just wanted Finn to know how grateful he is. He asks if Finn is coming down with something and Finn says what he needs is time alone. Griff says after a surgery he likes time by himself to thank God for getting him through. Finn says if he believes God is in the operating room, God help them all. Griff tells Finn if he needs to talk, he’s there for him, and he’ll leave God out of it.

Monica and Dillon think it’s the medication talking. Tracy says she should have said something before the surgery, but Monica means the world to her. Michael comes in and they give her time alone with him. Michael says he’s glad she’s still here, and she says she wasn’t going to let some worms take her out.

Anna makes up something about Emma being sick. Andre asks her if she wants him to check Emma out.

Carly asks if Sam and Jason are back together. Sam says they’re where they need to be for now.

Jason says he told Carly that Sonny wouldn’t listen, but he promised to try. He says Carly loves him and is afraid of losing him. Sonny says he can’t change and she knows that. Jason says that’s not true because he changed. Um…that’s probably not a good choice for a comparison.

It’s bad news from Dr. Lee. Nina is crying. Franco says he’s sorry, but Nina says he must be relieved. He says he loves her and she says if he did, he’d want her to have his baby. She says good for him, he got what he wanted, and how dare he comfort her.

Anna says she already went to a pediatrician. Andre keeps insisting on helping her. She says she doesn’t need any help and she has to go. Andre says he knows she’s lying, but also knows there’s no point in asking more questions. He says he hopes she trusts him enough one day to let him know what’s going on.

Anna apologizes to Paul before knocking him out again.

Sam says she knows Carly wishes that Jason wold remember everything so it could go back to the way it was. Carly says although she’d love for him to protect Sonny, she’s glad he and Sam happy. Sam says she wants Jason to be safe, but he needs to make his own decisions. Carly says she accepts Jason as he is and that’s why he and Sam belong together. Sam says the same goes for Carly and Sonny. Carly says she can’t accept it this time. She’s scared she’s going to lose Sonny. Sam says what if Jason can’t talk him out of it.

Sonny says Jason is still the same person; look how he ended up with Sam again. Jason says Sonny lived through the shooting, why risk his life to go after Carrrlos now? Jason says this is what he expected though, and Sonny says Jason still knows him.

Franco tells Nina she knows how much he loves her. Nina says he got what he wanted — no kids — and tells him to go celebrate. She says he wins and smashes the champagne bottle.

Finn gives himself a shot in one of the shower stalls.

Michael tells Tracy he hasn’t been paying as much attention to the ELQ lawsuit as he should have been. Tracy says it’s all been put in perspective now.

Jason tells Sam what happened with Sonny. He says Sonny told him he’s not that different. Sam says she told him that. Jason says she’s changed, but she says she’s just more cautious and that when you have people you love, the world is a scary place.

Carly comes home to no Sonny. Her phone rings. It’s Sonny calling from a private plane. He apologizes for not saying good-by in person. He says Jason did try to talk him out of it. Carly says she had to try. Sonny says to give his love to the kids and to get the speedboat fixed because they’re going for a ride when he gets back. She tells him to be careful and they say I love yous.

Anna joins Sonny. Sonny says he was dealing with some obstacles. Anna says her biggest obstacle was the DA.

Griff is ringing the bell at Anna’s . He leaves a Teddy bear by the door with a note for Emma. Paul remains unconscious.

Anna reminds Sonny he gave her his word that he’s not going to kill Carrrlos.

On Monday, Nathan tells Maxie he knows what she’s doing and to stop it, Nicholas refuses to sign anything, and Anna tells Sonny that they’ll have the ultimate justice.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Maxie is shocked about Claudette, saying she thought Nathan would always be honest with her. Nathan says the marriage was annulled.

Nina asks Curtis what low-life weasel is undermining Crimson, when Julian comes out of the elevator. Nina is like, hey, tell Julian too, and Curtis is like, gulp.

Franco tells Elizabeth that the housing market stinks, but he knows a place she can go to. She asks if he means his place, but he says no, Jason’s place. Why?

Meanwhile, Sam and Jason are at the prison visiting Shawn.

Hayden tells Nicholas they’re not getting a divorce because of what she knows about him. She says he has a history of bad decisions, along with faulty execution, and now he needs to pay.

Maxie says just because the marriage was annulled doesn’t fix things. She says they’ve been together over a year and he’s never mentioned it.

Nina introduces Curtis to Julian. She tells him that Curtis won the contest and he’s also a resourceful P.I., who she hired to see who’s sabotaging Crimson. Julian says he told her to drop it, but she says it’s not for nothing because Curtis got the information. Curtis won’t say who the guilty party is, and Nina suddenly realizes it’s Julian.

Finn wants to schedule an MRI for Tracy. Elizabeth says he’s not on the list. He asks if they’re practicing medicine or paperwork. Obrecht comes by and says she expedited matters and he now has privileges. When he leaves, Obrecht tells Elizabeth that Finn won’t he there long.

Sam thinks of possible gunman scenarios.

Hayden goes down Memory Lane about Nicholas and Jake Doe. She brings up the shooting and says the police say it was a mistake. Nicholas says Shawn confessed, but Hayden wonders if she could have been the intended victim. She says there was another hit man, sent by Nicholas.

Nina goes apesh*t on Julian. We don’t see it, only Curtis’s expression and all the stuff she’s throwing. Curtis backs out into the elevator, saying he’ll leave them to it and send an invoice.

Maxie wants to know everything. Nathan says he was still in New York and in uniform. He was hanging out with his co-workers at a bar and that’s where they met. He says they went out a couple of times and he asked her to marry him.

Finn tells Tracy he now has privilege to treat her. She says her thinking is clearer and she’s feeling better, but he says the scans have to be clear for two weeks. She wants to recover at home.

Elizabeth says she’s not showing up on Jason’s doorstep. Geez, thanks for doing one right thing. She’s going to do it on her own. Franco says he’s proud of her. I’m proud of her for giving Sam and Jason five minutes alone.

Sam talks to Shawn behind the visiting room glass. Hi, Shawn! We missed you! Sam asks if he knew who Hayden really was. He asks who she is and Sam says that she’s Richard Berlin’s daughter. She says they wondered if Hayden was an intended target and Shawn says she’s not the first one to approach him about it.

Nicholas thinks Hayden is bluffing, but she says her father told her never to play if she’s not going to win. She says she overheard Nicholas and Laura talking and she also has proof. She gives him a list of demands, including ELQ, or she’ll go to the police. He says if she goes to the police she’ll lose everything, and Hayden says not as much as him. She says one day they’ll laugh about it and that it’s ironic that in trying to protect ELQ, he lost it.

Franco says that Elizabeth was in a time-to-call-FEMA mess when Jason ditched her and it’s an amazing improvement. She thanks him. Obrecht watches from the sidelines.

Nina is still going nuts on Julian. She says she and Maxie were trying to pull Crimson out of the fire, while he was fanning the flames. He tries to explain about the IRS. She says he hired her to kill the magazine and she brought it back to life, and not only are they setting trends, they’re creating them. She says good thing for him she’s mellowed. And then plucks one of her shoes out of his jacket. She starts to call the police.

Nathan says he and Claudette did some New York City things on their second date, although all the things he lists would be impossible to do in one day. He says it seemed like a bucket list, and realized Claudette’s Canadian visa was expiring, so he married her. Maxie says, so it was a marriage of convenience. He says, at first.

Nicholas says if money and ELQ were Hayden’s goals, she could have just taken them and left. He says she wants to rebuild what she broke and still loves him.

Sam asks who talked to Shawn about Hayden being the intended target. He says Hayden herself.

Tracy gets out of bed and Finn threatens to sic Monica on her. He says they don’t know the long term effects yet and she could have another seizure. He says he wants his patients to live because he’s funny that way.

Nina says Nathan would be very interested in what Julian has done. She says it’s one count of fraud for every ad. Julian says if she turns him in, the advertisers will sue and Crimson will fold anyway. She says she’ll be a hot commodity and will just get a job elsewhere.

Nathan says Claudette moved in and they had to know everything about one another because of the INS checks. He says somewhere along they line, he fell in love, but she didn’t. She was cheating on him the whole time and had manipulated him. He says he couldn’t forgive her, and Claudette said love was never part of the arrangement anyway, so he got an annulment. Maxie asks what happened to Claudette, but Nathan says he doesn’t know (leaving it open for her to show up at some point). Maxie says she’s sorry for what happened, but he did a good thing and she wouldn’t have held it against him.

Shawn says Hayden thought there was someone else involved. She asked if he remembered anything odd, but he didn’t. Sam asked when Hayden was there and Shawn says before Thanksgiving. He wonders if she ever got her proof.

Nicholas says feelings don’t just disappear. He says if Hayden forces him to stay in the marriage, they have no chance of rebuilding. She asks if they have a chance of a real marriage. Elizabeth walks in and Hayden says she’ll wait for him at home, and dinner is at 7. She tells Elizabeth she’s no longer welcome at Windemere. She leaves and cries in the hallway. Elizabeth asks what she walked in on and Nicholas says his ruin.

Finn and Tracy play Monopoly. Tracy is winning. She wonders how he can devote himself to a single patient. He says he has other things going on, like research. She says she was pretty certain she was dying and she thanks him for proving her wrong.

Franco asks Obrecht if she wants to go for a drink. Obrecht says she needs to keep an eye on Finn. She also says if he’s going to cheat on Nina to be more discreet.

Nicholas tells Elizabeth that Hayden knew about the shooting and was patiently biding her time. He says she wants to punish him. Elizabeth suggests going to the police, but Nicholas says no. She asks what he’s going to do, stay with Hayden the rest of his days? He says not on your life, but Hayden’s is another matter.

Hayden tells Curtis to put what proof he has somewhere safe. She says she needs an insurance policy in case something happens with her paperwork. She says she had to tell Nicholas what she knew. Curtis thinks she shouldn’t go back to Windemere.

Sam thanks Shawn and says if they find out anything else, she’ll let him know. Shawn wants to speak to Jason. He says that he was astonished when he found out who Jake Doe was and he couldn’t believe he almost killed his friend. Jason says maybe there was a reason he didn’t get a clean shot.

Nathan tells Maxie he was ashamed of himself. He says he should have known she would sympathize, but he was trying to bury his past. He says he never thinks about Claudette, but the glove brought her name back and that’s why he said it when he was doped up in the hospital.

Nina says she’ll keep her mouth shut about Crimson in return for Julian giving the magazine to her. He says he can sell it to her, but if he gives it to her, it will be a red flag to the IRS. She says to give her full control then. Julian doubts her talents, but Nina says he’s been wrong before and asks if they have a deal.

Julian says Nina drives a hard bargain. She says hardly, since he’s leaving alive. Maxie comes in and thinks they had a break-in since everything is everywhere. Julian leaves and Nina says she’ll explain what happened over champagne. Maxie says she found out that Claudette isn’t a dog, but she is a bitch.

Nathan calls Obrecht and tells her to be careful what she says to Maxie regarding Claudette. She asks if he told Maxie. He says he didn’t tell her everything.

Elizabeth tells Nicholas not to try and kill Hayden again. Like someone needs to be told something like this.

Curtis says the closer Hayden gets to Nicholas, the closer Nicholas is to burying her. Hayden says she guesses there’s nothing to stop Nicholas from trying again. Curtis says that’s wrong, she has him.

Finn takes Tracy for a walk to the vending machine. He sees her nose bleeding and yells for a wheelchair. She starts to have another seizure.

Tomorrow, Sam tells Nicholas she’s sorry, Dillon asks if Tracy is dying, and Dante says that Sonny is the prime suspect if Carrrlos turns up dead.

Vanderpump Rules — Part Three

Raise your glasses high, people!

They start off talking about Stassi’s sex tape. Lisa put up $900 to make it go away and they laugh about it going so cheap. Lisa says she wanted Stassi to acknowledge her efforts. Stassi says the dude still has the video though and she didn’t want anyone to give him anything. Stassi says he should have signed a contract and Lisa says she should have written one up then.

Andy asks James why he felt the necessity to broadcast the details of Lala’s sex life. James apologizes, but Lala says it caused a rift between her and an old boyfriend. Lala says she cared deeply for him and now he’s no longer in her life.

They talk about the launch party for Katie’s blog. She says she kept the guest list small, since she didn’t want a bunch of nonsense, and thanks James for causing a ruckus with Kristen. Kristen says she tried to do as much damage control as possible.

Andy asks why Stassi picked Schwartz to approach about becoming friends with Katie again. Jax says it’s the first time he’s seen Schwartz stand up for Katie like he did. Schwartz says Stassi needed to have the smack brought down on her. Stassi says she was surprised, but she respects him. Schwartz says he invited her to the engagement party because he thought she was sincere. Tom thinks she cried to get what she wanted. Stassi says people who think other people are calculated are probably calculating themselves, and she never questions people who are apologizing. I do. I also make them be specific so both of us know exactly what they’re apologizing for.

They talk about Stassi making up with Scheana at Lala’s housewarming. Scheana says she thinks Stassi was sincere. but then they lost contact again and she thought Stassi was just using her to get to Katie. They reconnected later though, and everything is good. Stassi says she knows she’s selfish and is realizing that different friends have different needs. Congratulations on figuring out the obvious.

We flash back to the beach engagement photos. Andy asks James about getting fired from PUMP. Lisa says Kristen provoked the situation. Kristen disagrees, but Lisa says there are a million other places she could have gone to. Tom says James has a small fuse and Kristen should have known better. Kristen says again that James makes her skin crawl. James says when Richardson tried to diffuse the situation, he went off on him too. More flashbacks. Jax says James needs a good face punching. Can I get in line? Lisa says he needs to respect those above him and he’s hanging on by the skin of his teeth. Andy suggests that maybe James shouldn’t drink. Gee, think so, Andy?

Andy talks about Ariana being offended by Kristen taking a dip in the sketch comedy pond. We flash back to when Ariana said she takes comedy seriously. Everyone says Kristen did well, but Ariana says what she saw on YouTube was unoriginal. Why anyone cares about this is beyond me. Ariana gripes about how so many people work hard to get their stuff seen and it’s unfair for Kristen to possibly (in this case, possibly meaning probably not) get something on national TV. We saw like 10 seconds of her bit, so I don’t think any aspiring comics have anything to worry about.

Andy points the finger at Jax for ratting Ariana out. He says he’s not malicious, he just does stupid sh*t. I agree. I don’t think he’s smart enough to be malicious. Talk goes back and forth about things said in confidence being used as ammunition. Man, I hate that. I could never be friends with any of these people because they all do it.

Tequila Katie is brought up — Katie’s personality when she gets drunk and angry. Andy reads some of her rage texts to Schwartz. I drank a lot when I was their age too, but I never once had any of these problems. There’s a discussion about how Katie needs to be calmed down when she’s angry. Schwartz says she doesn’t want to be challenged when she has a feeling, which I think goes for most of us. For some reason, Schwartz says when you’ve seen Lisa Vanderpump topless, everything else is insignificant. We flash back to when the guys found the nude picture of her and we see some new footage of them pretending to — oh never mind.

Andy asks Ariana if she’s withdrawn from the group, but she says she’s more about individual friendships. Jax talks about how Tom distanced himself when he started getting serious about Ariana. Um…that’s kind of normal. Andy stirs the pot in saying Jax isn’t supportive of Tom’s music career, and Jax says he thinks Tom is super talented, but when he gets a bug in his head, there’s no shutting him up.

We flash back to Jax saying he’s the number one guy in the group. Hahahahahaha! That was one of the funniest moments this season. Even he thought he was ridiculous.

The Palm Springs trip is up next, and they talk about Katie’s surprise appearance. Katie says she wanted Stassi to be genuine and that was the best way to do it. We now flash back to when Stassi blew Katie’s friendship off. Katie says she didn’t think Stassi was capable of humility. Neither did I, but it happened, so anything is possible. She also looks a million times better now that she’s put on a few pounds. She probably feels better now that she’s eating. Although I understand being young, broke and living on French bread and jelly.

They talk about Scheana and Katie drifting apart, and Katie having a one-night stand with some guy Kristen was dating (Carter). Kristen says she found him on a dating app and although she didn’t know him, everyone else did, and she did ask Katie if it was okay. To which Katie replied she couldn’t care less. Andy throws out Kristen sleeping with James while she was dating Carter. Kristen acts like it was no big deal, but James says she swore him to secrecy. They talk about James having slept with Jenna and Kristen having a bad reaction to that. Lala says she can’t stand Katie. It’s quiet, but we see it in subtitles. They talk way too long about James and Kristen having sex. Kristen says after it happened, she knew she liked Carter better. Moving on.

Next is the engagement party. Lisa says she didn’t want Stassi or Kristen there, but when they showed up, she put her feelings aside. They talk about Kristen’s too long speech and how Lala yelled at her to wrap it up. Lala claims she had anxiety. I don’t know how, since she was drunk as a skunk. Schwartz says they were less upset about the interruption than her hair-do. Ha-ha! I forget who called it the Shih Tzu look at the time, but that was pretty accurate.

Commercial break with important information. Vanderpump Rules: Secrets Revealed airs Thursday, April 7th at 10 pm.

Andy asks Lala what was in her head when she shoved Kristen. Lala says she apologized at the time, and still feels sorry about it, and she also apologizes to Katie. They move on to how stoned James was the night he decided to stop drinking. He claims to have a medical marijuana card and makes up a bunch of reasons why.

Andy asks why Jax hates James so much. He gives a bunch of reasons, but it boils down to inappropriate behavior. James suggests he’s jealous. They start talking about beating each other up and everyone talks at once. James says he’s 10 times more talented than Jax and Jax tells him he is not the white Kanye West. Several of them say James isn’t taken seriously. Jax and James talk about beating each other up again. Stassi says he’s an a-hole and James says they’re all a-holes. Andy says it’s the ultimate who has the bigger d*ck contest.

Andy asks Stassi what it was like sitting down with Jax after all this time. He says that it seemed like Jax was partly making peace and partly telling her she wasn’t welcome. Stassi talks about Brittany and what a great girl she is.

Schwartz asks if James and Lala have ever had sex. James says once, but it never happened again. More weenie talk.

Lisa says it’s been an amazing year. Andy gives Stassi the “shag, marry, kill” question that I hate so much. James is texting and says he’s upset that Andy didn’t plug the PUMP CD.

Ken and Peter come out with Pumptinis and dogs. Giggy! Lisa says she loves everyone, even Stassi, and thanks everyone for being honest with their lives. Apart from Jax, who’s a liar. Really, she said that.

Until next time.

Southern Charm

We start with a dinner party at Thomas’s new house. He gives a speech, as always, thanking everyone for their support. As usual, he can’t shut up and starts reading everyone. Half the party leaves with Thomas following them, telling them to get out and hurling insults at them.

Three months earlier. Shep meets Cameran for a fishing trip. She handled the sale of Shep’s home when she was just starting out, so she’s chartered a boat as a gift to him. They talk about Craig, who has moved home with mommy and daddy. Cameran says he’s saving money and Shep wonders if he isn’t bored. Shep says placating someone isn’t real friendship and he’s the only one who called Craig out for being a lazy jerk.

Craig says moving back to Delaware has helped to reset his life and priorities. We flash back to him getting fired from the law firm. He says his heart will always be in Delaware, but Charleston is where he sees his life, so he’s moving back.

Cameran and Shep talk about Thomas and Kathryn’s new surprise baby. Cameran says she doesn’t like talking about it because their relationship is tumultuous, yet they can’t be bothered to use birth control.

Craig meets his girlfriend Naomie. Another reason he wants to go back to Charleston. He says she’s originally from France and they went to the same college. Naomie’s parents are letting them use their house to live in until it sells. They decide to have a party. Naomie asks if Craig is going to invite Shep, and Craig says he’d like to put the friendship back together.

Kathryn is home with the baby, and another on the way. She was hoping it would bring her and Thomas closer together, but that didn’t happen. She sends him a text telling him to leave her alone.

Patricia, Whitney’s mom, is getting ready for who knows what. She dresses up to sit at home. Whitney comes in and she asks if he noticed anything missing. Oh no! Michael, the butler or whatever he is, is on vacation. Since Patricia has no interest in an inferior martini, she gives them up when he’s gone. Whitney’s restaurant is already a million and a half over budget and six months behind, but he tells Patricia everything is going swimmingly. Yeah, as in he’s drowning.

Patricia asks if he’s seen Thomas. Patricia thinks Thomas and Kathryn are both morons. Well, at least we’re in agreement on something.

Cooper comes to visit Kathryn. She wasn’t sure if they could be friends, since he’s friends with Patricia, but she says he has her back. She’s out on Thomas’s family plantation, which is about 800 acres and includes a slave cemetery. Kathryn asks why Patricia despises her, and does an imitation of Patricia using a British accent.

Patricia says Kathryn has no proper education or career, and if it didn’t work the first time, why is she having another baby? Patricia says she’s not interested in Kathryn, but for some reason Kathryn is obsessed with her and Whitney. She says she’s glad it’s not Whitney whose involved with her.

Kathryn says Patricia puts Whitney on a pedestal even though he’s never amounted to anything. Wait until Patricia gets a load of the restaurant. Cooper says Kathryn swept into their perfect little world and disrupted things.

Naomie and Craig have champagne. He says he wants to prove to his friends that he’s a different person now. They call Shep and leave a message. Craig says he hopes Shep isn’t still dodging his phone calls after six months. I would.

Thomas’s new house is being refurbished. It was built in 1813 and I cry because all the wrong people have the money. Landon comes over. They’ve been hanging out since they’re new neighbors. Thomas has a black eye and Landon asks what happened. He says some guy was harassing him in a club and when he asked his bodyguards to have the guy removed, he got head butted. I see those bodyguards are earning their paycheck. He gives her a tour of the house.

Landon asks what’s up with Kathryn. Apparently if kids are born “out of wedlock” there, the mother has total control, and she’s using it. He says he wants a court order, but at the end of the day, they’ll have to co-parent. Landon says there’s no reasoning with Kathryn. Thomas suggests shock treatment because he’s such a d-bag.

Craig and Naomie are getting ready for the party.

Landon’s next stop is Shep’s house. She asks if he’s seen Craig. He says he hasn’t, but not because he’s been avoiding him. Landon says Shep hurt Craig’s feelings. Awww! Too bad. Shep says he doesn’t exploit people’s weaknesses, and he gave Craig the benefit of the doubt and in the end felt betrayed.

Kathryn is hanging out with her friend Jennifer. She says Landon propositioned Thomas when he was in London after their break-up. Really? I know he has money, but there have got to better fish in the Charleston sea.

Whitney joins Shep and Landon. Landon says Kathryn hates her because she doesn’t understand platonic friendships between men and women.

The party guests start to arrive. Cameran says Craig still uses too much hair product and looks like an Italian drug dealer, but at least he doesn’t reek of alcohol. She says Craig has gone from a slum dog millionaire to the Fresh Prince of Charleston. Craig isn’t sure if he and Shep will ever be close again, but he wants the friendship back. Shep says he’s so Eurotrash.

Lots of mingling and drinking and catching up. Whitney says he’s lost touch with Thomas but doesn’t miss the friendship. Whitney introduces Thomas to a college girl and Thomas acts stupid. No surprise. What an embarrassment this dude is. Cameran doesn’t know what to say about the pending baby, so she doesn’t say anything.

Kathryn says no one has reached out to her since she got pregnant again.

Time to eat. Kathryn ignores Thomas. He says he knows he should talk to her, but doesn’t know how not to set her off. Craig and Shep have a drink together. Craig says he thinks they can be friends like in the old days. Shep says he tried to be supportive, but Craig was pretty delusional before he left. Craig says Shep was being mean. Waaaah! Shep says he’s only hard on people he likes and Craig says no one ever called him on his bs before. Craig says he hopes Shep will give things a shot and Shep is agreeable.

Thomas sits down with Kathryn. He asks about the baby, but she’s not having it. She asks how he is and he tells her about the house he’s renovating. She says these are the problems you have when you have no problems. Exactly. He says they’re going with periwinkle for the baby’s room. She asks who helped him to pick it out.

He says his decorator helped him. Kathryn notices Landon is wearing a periwinkle dress and wonders if that’s an inside joke. Thomas asks to feel her belly, while everyone stares at them. So much for Southern discretion.

This season, everyone goes to the Founders Ball, Patricia thinks it’s the end of Western civilization, Thomas jumps out a window to avoid Kathryn (because he’s 15 years old), there’s lots of drinking, Thomas and Kathryn continue to fight, and I assume we eventually see the beginning of that dinner party as well.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Tracy wants to see Finn immediately. Obrecht says Dr.Mays is the best. Tracy says he misdiagnosed her and she wants Finn.

Finn’s phone is ringing but he’s busy doing meditation. Dillon leaves a message asking him to come to the hospital. Obrecht says until he’s fully vetted, he can’t practice there. She says her first priority is the patients. Tracy says then give her what she wants.

Ava is on the phone, saying things aren’t safe right now. She says not from Sonny, but someone else. Paul comes up behind her.

Laura tells Elizabeth about the textbook. Elizabeth says steer clear of the living room; all hell is breaking loose.

Not really, but Nicholas is pretty miffed. Hayden says it hasn’t taken away the love and happiness they’ve had. He says all he knows is that she’s not the woman he married, but a stranger.

Dammit! Breaking news about a lock-down in the capital. The shooter is in custody, so what else do we need to know? It sounds like a garden variety nutjob. Terrorists usually don’t send in a lone gunman. Please go away and don’t come back until 4.

Finn comes to the hospital. Tracy says she’ll be cured and released by the time Obrecht gets the paperwork together.

Paul tells Ava it’s been a long time (like 2 days) and Ava says not long enough. He asks if he can do anything for her and she says yeah, give her the recording. He’s not going to do that. She says because of him she has a target on her back..

Jason asks Sam out on a kidless date. She says it sounds good, but right now, she has to work. Jason says she must be getting paid a lot. She says not at all. Her client told her to let it go, but she can’t.

Nicholas says Hayden took advantage of him. Where? She says she’s the same person she was when she married him. He says no she’s not, and he wonders what else she’s lying about. She says he of all people should understand wanting to escape the past. He says that’s a fantasy and it’s impossible.

Elizabeth tells Laura about Hayden really being Rachel Berlin. She says Hayden was just looking for another payday. Laura says Nicholas has convinced himself he’s in love with her and she’s concerned he’ll overlook the whole thing. Elizabeth says it’s time Hayden was dealt with the only way she understands and she’s calling the police. Laura says that’s a bad idea, since Nicholas has done worse to Hayden than she did to him. Oh yeah, that pesky murder contract.

Ava says when Paul gave her immunity, she was marked as a rat. Paul says it wasn’t his intention to harm her, and that it was the quickest way to absolve her of the gun running. She tells Paul to leave her alone, that she has it under control. He says no, she doesn’t.

Jason guesses that Sam’s client was Nicholas. She says why would she do something for him, but Jason isn’t buying it, so she says it’s really for Spencer. She asks Jason if he wants to be a partner. He balks at that, and she says the offer is on the table if he changes his mind.

Tracy asks why she wasn’t told her condition was fatal. Finn says in less developed countries, it’s a death sentence. He says if it’s caught early enough, it can be treated, and they’re just making it. He says he’d be remiss not to apprise her of the worst case scenario.

Elizabeth says Hayden doesn’t remember, but Laura says the police might open up a can of worms and investigate her shooting. She says it’s Nicholas’s decision and they have to respect that. Like Elizabeth has every respected anyone’s decisions except her own.

Hayden says she should have trusted Nicholas, but she was afraid when he heard the truth, she’d lose him. He says she’s been working to take everything away from him and Spencer. She says he lied to Sam for months about Jason. He says he was trying to protect Elizabeth. Hayden says no, he was trying to protect his bank account, when she was just trying to make a fresh start. She says what he did was worse and suggests he’s lying to her right now.

Paul tells Ava to take his protection. She says they worked well when things were simpler, but he wasn’t who she thought he was. He says they should get to know one another again. He says she’ll land on her feet.

Finn tells Tracy to rest. He says the medication is working, but her immune system is still compromised until the treatment is finished. Monica walks Finn out. She apologizes for Tracy. Obrecht comes by and asks Finn to come to her office.

Sam and Jason come to the hospital with Danny. Monica says she’d like to visit and asks if they’d like to take a turn monitoring Tracy. She says she’s just kidding, but Jason says if she wants, he’ll do it.

Hayden says just because Nicholas hears something from Elizabeth, he believes it. Nicholas says he’s going to the MetroCourt to clear his head, he wants this wrapped up before Spencer comes back from spring break.

Sam and Jason go in to visit Tracy. Sam talks about the magazine and Tracy asks Dillon why he didn’t bring her a copy. Sam gets a call and has to leave.

Elizabeth asks where Nicholas is. Hayden says gone and she must be disappointed because she didn’t get a front row seat. Elizabeth says she guesses Hayden wants to be by herself, so she’ll catch up with Nicholas later. Hayden grabs her arm and tells her she’s not going anywhere.

Paul asks about Kiki. Ava says she’s getting better all the time. He says if she needs anything, don’t hesitate to call. Ava says she actually believes that he’s being sincere, but he should concentrate on his own family.

Obrecht says Finn should remove himself until they get the paperwork. Finn says no thanks, but he’ll be happy to let the board know the disregard for patient care.

Jason is left with Tracy and tries to make small talk. He suggests the pudding. Tracy says the pudding is his legacy. She says when he was in the hospital the last time, he complained about the lackluster pudding and Monica had Cook give them her recipe.

Hayden says Elizabeth can’t stand not controlling all the men in her life. She wants to destroy their hopes of happiness unless they involve her. Elizabeth says she’s forgotten more things about Nicholas than Hayden can even knows. She says he keeps searching for the same woman that he once loved and only comes up with substitutes to share his bed until the right woman comes along.

Nicholas asks Sam to go back on the case. He tells Sam who Hayden really is. He says she swears she wasn’t trying to con him. Sam asks if he thinks that’s the truth and he says he doesn’t know, that’s why he wants Sam to look into it. She suggests he call the police and he says he doesn’t want Hayden anywhere near the police.

Laura tells Scotty about the book she found. She asks if he would know why Helena had it. He says after he and Laura fell apart, he sold his textbooks, but he doesn’t know how Helena would have gotten ahold of it. Laura tells him about how Helena said she’d find what what she loved and lost. He says she’s cracked the riddle and he’s the solution.

Scotty suggests Laura loved and lost him, so case closed. She says they had one than more chance, so that’s a no. He can’t come up with anything else, so she shows him the letters circled in the book and asks if he did that. He says no way, and she says maybe it’s some kind of code.

Obrecht asks if Finn would have the hospital shut down because of one patient. He says that Tracy could have died and talks about Dr. Mays blowing Griff off when he tried to help. Obrecht says it’s an isolated incident and Finn says he’ll be back later to check on his patient.

Paul asks Dillon how Tracy is. He says she’s doing better. Paul says she really doesn’t want to see him and Dillon says he’ll get him a visit somehow.

Ava makes a call saying she has a proposition.

Nicholas says they know Hayden lied about who she is, but doesn’t know if she’s lying about their relationship. Sam says the longer they wait, the longer Nicholas can be exposed.

Hayden says she’s not a placeholder and Nicholas will be back. She says she’s not leaving

Tracy says she knows the pecking order, and she’s at the end of it. Suddenly, she calls Jason “daddy” and says they’ll get ELQ back and he’ll be proud of her. Jason says he’s already proud of her. She says if she can’t get it back, she’ll have to go to Jason, but she has a secret weapon named Rachel.

Ava meets Scotty.

Laura tries to crack the letter code.

Nicholas looks out the window and broods.

Obrecht tells Monica that Dr. Finn will be cleared by tomorrow.

Finn gives himself a shot in the arm. We have no idea with what.

Dillon comes back to Tracy’s room and Jason asks him to get a nurse or doctor. He says they’re having a little confusion. Jason asks who Rachel is, and Sam says otherwise known as Hayden.

Elizabeth says Nicholas is only her friend and Hayden is just mad because she lost him all on her own, and Hayden is incapable of honesty. Hayden says the only man Elizabeth had a chance with was Nicholas, so she wouldn’t let something like marriage get in the way. She tells Elizabeth to find someone else to add to her illegitimate brood. Elizabeth slaps her across the face. Press charges!

Tomorrow, Scotty asks what he can do for Ava, Finn tends to Tracy, and a masked gunman comes into Kelly’s.

Vanderpump Rules — The Reunion, Part Two

Yay! It’s those crazy kids from SUR, back again for part two of a reunion of people who see each other every day.

Andy talks about Gay Pride Day and James showing up with the hell scratched out of him. And it wasn’t from a drag queen. Kristen looks like she’s going to laugh and throw up at the same time. Lala says he deliberately tried to embarrass and disrespect her, especially since it was Lauren who she’d been confiding in. Why Lala is still attracted to this d-bag is beyond me. Lisa is like, this is what I have to deal with.

Andy asks if James’s rivalry with Jax has anything to do with his pursuit of Lala. He says no, but really? Tom says Jax and James are a lot alike. Why does James look like he’s going to cry? Or maybe he’s stoned.

They talk about Katie and Schwartz getting engaged. Katie says it was everything. It was pretty cool how he set it up and fooled her. Andy asks how much longer he would have had if he hadn’t proposed and she says they were about at the end. Scheana says she told him to make sure Katie was looking good that night. They talk about Katie and Schwartz’s sex life and I go, la-la-la! with my fingers in my ears.

Andy asks when Tom and Ariana are getting married, but Ariana doesn’t want to. Tom says it’s like reverse psychology.

Brittany joins the group. She’d never seen Vanderpump Rules before dating Jax and only knew Lisa from the Wives. She didn’t Google him either. Andy asks how uncomfortable his horrible reputation is, but Brittany shrugs it off. She says they clicked in a way she hadn’t felt before. Andy asks Jax what was so special about Brittany that he dropped his harem and he gives her a bunch of compliments. Scheana says she’s glad Brittany didn’t listen to their warnings, since she’s an amazing friend.

They talk about Brittany’s boob job and we flash back to the discussions about that. They’ve also moved from the studio apartment. Andy asks if it bothers Brittany that Jax takes a dump with the door open and I go, la-la-la! again.

The non-internship as sangria ambassadors with Schwartz and Tom comes up. We see the meeting where they had no idea of what place they should even have in the company. Katie says she was miffed because of Schwartz’s lack of commitment to things.

They talk about Scheana drifting apart from Ariana and closer to Katie. Andy asks if Scheana is Ariana’s best friend and Ariana says she doesn’t really like that term. Neither do I. Katie says Ariana was kind of a downer this season. Ariana says it’s hard to come around when everyone is throwing shade every five minutes. Ariana says it’s a toxic environment and it blows her mind that the others don’t notice. Well, they’re minds are probably too crowded with thoughts of themselves. Duh.

Andy asks for a show of hands as to who thinks therapy has changed Kristen. Everyone is positive, except Ariana says it’s changed her knowledge of how to behave around other people. They talk about the Hawaii trip. Tom says the point is, when they were planning the trip, he was attacked about why he didn’t want his ex-girlfriend going. He says Jax had no problem with her not going until everyone else jumped on the Kristen bandwagon.

They talk about the texts that Scheana sent to Ariana’s mom about Tom. Ariana was pretty pissed about that. They go over the texts which Ariana has handy. Lisa has to remind everyone not to curse. Ariana says that her mother believed the texts for a while. Scheana insists that her mother was concerned, but even Ariana’s mother later said that wasn’t the case. Scheana said she already apologized. Lisa says with everything Scheana had going on with Shay, how would she have felt if Ariana texted her mother? Lala says she would be pissed for sure. Everyone starts talking at once.

Andy stirs the pot about the toplessness in Hawaii. He asks why Katie was so offended. She says she wasn’t offended by the boobs, but by Lala’s behavior. Lala says something juvenile. Schwartz steps in and says Katie is a free thinker, but she didn’t like it being flaunted. Andy asks Brittany if it bothered her. Brittany says she already didn’t have the best opinion of Lala and thought it was just an attention grabber. Yep. Lala says Katie should have approached her if she had a problem. Lisa is like, I didn’t see anyone with a top on for 20 years in Europe.

They go over Jax flirting with Lala and telling her Brittany wasn’t coming to some dinner they were at. Brittany says she wasn’t too happy about the whole thing. Brittany says she just wanted to know what was going on, since she was turning her whole life upside down for him. Lala says the worst thing was Jax lying right to her face. Brittany defends her defense of Jax at the time, saying she didn’t know Lala at all. Lala says if they’d wanted to sleep together, they would have, and Jax says it didn’t happen, so let’s drop it.

Andy says he’s sure Jax is tired of telling the story, but what was up with the sunglasses? Jax says it was the last day, they went on a booze cruise, he went through a store on his way back and grabbed the glasses. He says they hunted him down and he thought just giving the sunglasses back would make everything okay. Andy asks what Jax has been arrested for in the past. He says he’s been in jail about five times, but not for anything major, just stupid stuff. Andy asks Lisa why she didn’t fire Jax. She says she didn’t want to kick him when he was down. James brings up Jax stealing from the restaurant, like he doesn’t wolf down free liquor.

Jax says he’s far from perfect and needs guidance. Tom says he needs to remember the past guilt before he does the next idiotic thing. Jax says he has a wonderful girlfriend now and has changed his stance on marriage…somewhat. Tom says maybe he can steal Brittany a wedding ring. Ha-ha! Brittany says they bring out the best in each other, and even I have to admit, she makes Jax a better person. Brittany exits, and it’s time for Stassi to make an appearance.

They go over the work Stassi’s had done. Andy asks how it was coming back. She pretty quickly tells James she hopes he watched his own scenes because the way he talks to women is despicable. James says his temper just leads him to have a nasty mouth and that he aspires to be a gentleman. Stassi says if he doesn’t acknowledge what he’s doing is wrong, he’ll never change. He smack talks Kristen and she says being in the same room is making her skin crawl.

Andy brings up that when Stassi was last there, she never wanted to see any of them again, yet she humbled herself when she came back. She says she realized how much hatred and anger she had, and that she was only hurting herself. Jax says she went after Kristen first because Kristen is the weakest link.

Andy brings up Stassi crashing on Kristen’s couch and Tom says the timing was interesting. Stassi says no matter what she says, he finds fault. Tom says it doesn’t have to do with bashing her, but he’s protective of his friends. Lisa interjects that just because an apology happens, that doesn’t mean the hurt goes away. She says that she believes if the show wasn’t happening, none of them would have heard from Stassi again. Everyone agrees.

Andy says Lisa had concerns about Stassi coming back. She says at first she thought Stassi was being genuine, but in watching the show, she realized that it was disingenuous. She says as soon as the cameras were rolling, she trash talked Lisa. Andy asks if she feels like she owes Lisa anything and Stassi says respect. Lisa asks about the opportunities she was presented with. Lisa says she begged Stassi not to walk away from everyone the way she did.

Next week, The Reunion Part Three, Katie and Schwartz argue, Scheana talks about old feelings, James calls everyone a-holes and Andy wonders why was Stassi’s sex tape was only worth $900.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Curtis gives Valerie a kiss goodnight.

Jordan tells Dante the hearing is a spectacle and he should stay away. He says he’s going to support his mother.

Carly tells Olivia about the mayor’s extortion using the health department against the hotel. She says Olivia either drops the lawsuit or the MetroCourt stays closed. Since that’s the only place anyone ever goes to eat, drink or be merry, maybe they can stage a protest using all breathing citizens of Port Charles. A BLT from Kelly’s will only go so far.

Griffin says he’d love to have dinner with Brad and Lucas. In the meantime, he’d like a look at Tracy’s test results.

Dillon calls Ned to come home.

Tracy had a dream that Alan was waiting for her. Monica says it’s just the medication, but Tracy says it’s a message from her subconscious that she’s dying.

Dillon tells Ned they’re getting the results today. One doctor thinks it’s cancer and the other thinks it’s something else, but either way, she’s bad.

Tracy says she has spots on her brain and seizures, but there’s pudding, so it’s not all bad. She tells Monica she needs to prepare for the worst and so does Monica. Monica says she’s not going to let Tracy die. Tracy says she doesn’t want to end up a vegetable.

Griffin says Dr. Mays is a good doctor, but over time even a good doctor can become less curious and more rigid. Uh-oh, Dr. Mays caught Brad giving Griffin the test results. Why did they do that in the hallway?

Dante sees Curtis and Valerie. They tell him about the grand they just won.

Julian shows up at the hearing. Molly and Kristina start talking about Crimson, but Julian has no clue what’s going on with the magazine.

Nina is getting a call from Barbara Walters’s people for an interview. No surprise, the whole Crimson thing is going through the roof and trending on social media. Dante shows up and Maxie tells him the thousand dollars has already been claimed, but there are other prizes to be won. He says he’s there for her and shows her a pair of handcuffs.

Carly says she can get Sonny’s help, but she wanted to check with how serious Olivia is before calling a garbage and sanitation strike. Oh, is Sonny in that business too? Wink-wink.

Dr. Mays tells Brad it was a bad move throwing in with the new guy. Griffin says they all have the patient’s best interest at heart. Dr. Mays says they’re both going to be fired.

Monica says don’t give her that responsibility when Tracy has two sons. Tracy says she knows Monica will do the right thing and not get all sentimental. Monica leaves and sees Dillon in the hall. She says Tracy is just being Tracy. Dillon says Tracy might not say it, but she loves Monica. Monica says she doesn’t know how it happened, but she came to love Tracy too. They hug and the now out of bed Tracy tells Monica to get her hands off Ned.

Dante tells them they were littering. Nina says it’s journalism and free enterprise and Maxie tells him that they have their own clean-up crew on it. Nina says she called because they’re a victim of corporate espionage. Dante says that’s not in the PCPD jurisdiction; it’s Federal. He leaves and Curtis says it’s in his jurisdiction though.

Carly tells Alexis a garbage strike will be effective. Alexis says what she wants to do will be legal. Lomax approaches Carly and says she’d hate to see the MetroCourt lose its five-star rating. Carly says she doesn’t think it will come to that.

Alexis says she has another solution, but she needs Carly’s help to make it happen.

Tracy keeps talking like Dillon is Ned. She snaps out of it and apologizes.

Nina says she remembers Curtis from New Year’s Eve. Valerie says he used to be in law enforcement. Curtis says he can go places and do things the regular police force can’t and the Feds won’t take a case unless it’s tied with a bow first. Valerie says she’ll vouch for him and Nina says he’s hired.

Alexis makes her opening statement. She wants injunctive relief and wants the court to enforce a law that’s already on the books. She also wants punitive damages for Olivia. Diane says the defense will prove that the case is frivolous and should be thrown out of court with prejudice. That means it can’t be tried elsewhere. I know that from watching The People’s Court. The first witness is Olivia.

Monica tells Dillon to find Dr. Mays and get the test results while she settles Tracy back in. Tracy asks if Monica understands and Monica says she’ll honor Tracy’s health care directive.

Griffin says he should take the rap for the entire thing, since it was his idea. Brad says the new and improved Brad doesn’t throw his friends under the bus. He adds that he looked at the biopsy results before Dr. Mays took them and made a copy.

Dr. Mays comes in with the results. He says the good news is, Tracy doesn’t have cancer. The bad news is he has no idea what it is. Don’t confer with Griffin or anything, you old coot.

Dillon says he thought the biopsy would tell them what’s wrong. Dr. Mays says it only narrows the possibilities. Tracy wants to go home, but Monica says that’s a no. Dillon asks what they do now. find someone who knows

Brad says whatever is going on with Tracy, he’s never seen it before. Griffin says he has. Dr. Mays comes out and asks for Griffin.

Nina fills Curtis in on what’s happened with the past two Crimson issues. Nina says she’s going to pay Curtis herself and Julian isn’t going to know anything until Curtis finds out what’s going on. She and Maxie leave for the courthouse. Curtis makes Valerie his assistant. He talks about their next date and Valerie says he promised to tell her why Jordan hates him first.

Olivia takes the stand. Her testimony is interspersed with Lomax’s testimony. Lomax feels that breast feeding isn’t appropriate in a public place. Olivia says Lomax threatened to have her arrested and Diane asks if it was for public indecency. Olivia says it was for assaulting the mayor. Lomax says she was “bumped into,” and Alexis asks how many stitches it required. Ha-ha! Alexis asks if charges were brought and Lomax says no.

Carly takes the stand. Diane asks what her staff told her, and Carly and I both ask if that isn’t hearsay. Something I learned from Judge Judy. Diane says something about it being a relaying of a conversation, and although that would never fly with Judy, the judge says it’s admissible. One of the employees said that Olivia went off on the mayor and almost flipped a table on her.

Jordan takes the stand and explains the legalities of breast feeding in public. Diane asks if there have ever been any complaints and Jordan says not to her knowledge. The defense and prosecution rest. Fastest. Hearing. Ever.

Griffin says he can understand why the lesions were mistaken for cancer. He asks what Tracy consumed while she was in Mexico. Tracy remembers Larry offering her some local delicacies he picked up in town the night they smoked weed together. She leaves the weed part out though. Griffin says she needs an infectious disease doctor.

Curtis says after Jordan’s husband was killed, she and Curtis were partners for a while with the DEA, but it didn’t work out. Valerie asks why he didn’t just tell her that, and he says he was using it as bait for another date, even though I’m sure there’s more to the story.

Diane says Olivia wasn’t prevented from breast feeding and Lomax was only giving an opinion, which is her right. Alexis counters that it might be the literal truth, but the word of a high elected official carries a lot of weight and it’s imposing a belief of what is good and proper. She wants the court to close the gap between the legislature’s intent and the law. Lots of legal stuff today!

The judge says he sympathizes but there are flaws in the case. Carly walks in with a woman and a baby. The woman starts to breastfeed. The judge says a courtroom is hardly the appropriate place. More women and babies come in. Lomax says what’s natural to them is offensive to others. Nina talks about being topless and asks why it’s okay for men and not women. Alexis says by law in New York, it is. Lomax says most people don’t want to see it. I dunno about that. There seem to be plenty of people — okay, mostly men — who want their picture taken with the naked painted ladies in Times Square. The judge bangs his gavel and says the court is out of order. Nina takes off her top and says what’s out of order about these?

Maxie is next and everyone starts taking off their tops. Nina is filming it all with her phone. The judge says it all really wasn’t necessary because he was finding for the plaintiff anyway.

Nina tells Julian that Crimson is trending nationally and she’s going to make the magazine a success. BTW, we are seeing the Crimson cover with Olivia everywhere and of course it’s beautiful.

Carly tells Diane to tell the mayor that if she doesn’t drop the bogus health order, she’ll sue her and the city. Lomax says she has no case, but Diane says record will show that she does. Lomax reminds Diane that she’s her lawyer and Diane says her long-standing relationship with the Corrinthos family trumps that. It’s a win for everyone, except Lomax.

Diana tells Alexis just so she knows, she let her win. The mayor tells Alexis she’s made an enemy.

Dr. Mays says he’s still going to fire Brad and Griffin. He says they’re done at GH and done with medicine. He says he would have figured it out sooner or later.

Tracy tells Monica her wishes still stand. Monica says it’s unnecessary, but if anything changes Tracy can count on her.

Monica calls a doctor she met at a conference and tells him that she has a case that’s confounding everybody and she thinks he can help. It’s Silas petting an iguana. Alrighty then!

Tomorrow, a divorce happens, Nina goes to a fertility doctor and Franco meets with Jason.

Vanderpump Rules — The Reunion, Part One

First, as much as she annoys me, I have to say Stassi looks good with a few more pounds on her and whatever she’s doing makeup/filler wise. She mentioned that she was so thin during the first season because she couldn’t afford food. I understand. The thinnest I ever was, was during some unemployed years when I was malnourished.

Ok, let’s roll.

Shouldn’t Giggy be at this reunion? Andy calls Lisa the headmistress of SUR and that pretty much fits. Lala claims she’s sober. Maybe.

James is suspended from PUMP again. Andy asks Lisa how it is to employ two people who hate each other as much as James and Jax do. James says he doesn’t hate Jax, but Jax says James is lucky he’s on probation or he’d punch his face in. We’re off to a great start! Lisa says Jax is an a-hole, but he’s her a-hole. Only we can make fun of our pledges. (Animal House reference.)

James’s drinking is brought up and we begin with the Decades party. Lisa says he’s one of those people whose personality changes with the crack of a bottle opening. We go down Memory Lane with James lying his face off to Kristen. It’s funny how these kids use old words like banging and boning. I hear they just discovered vinyl records too. Eeew! James is giving us TMI about Kristen’s cheating. I really don’t want to know what anything smelled like, kay?

Andy asks Lisa about how she hired James, and if his main goal was to get on the show. Kristen tries to answer and Lisa tells her to shut up. Aa-ha! in Nelson voice. Lisa talks about James’s mom asking her to give him a job and somehow it moves to Kristen hooking up with James to annoy Tom. Kristen talks about how James lived off of her. James calls her a sugar momma and a cougar. I think she’s a little young to be one of those.

Lala says this was her first real job. Oh Lord, I’d had like five jobs and two apartments by the time I was her age. And I was going to school. And partying. They talk about how Lala lied about being a model when she started on the show, when really it was rich guys taking her to exotic places. She claims she’s lost count of how many trips she’s scored, but she never slept with any of them. I choke on my coffee.

They talk about Jax’s pursuit of Lala. Lala says they’re similar, when they see someone new, it’s a challenge and it’s fun to flirt. Andy says Jax forgot that Brittany existed. Jax says it’s more like he just set the girlfriend thing aside for a minute, whatever that means. Lala says she thought he was single because that’s the impression he was giving. Lala says it’s intimidating coming into a group like this. I have to agree with her there. Scheana says she resents having been called a bully.

Commercial break. the new season of Southern Charm begins April 4. The guys on that show are even bigger losers than the Vanderpump crowd. At least they have their youth as an excuse. Okay, except for Jax. The Real Housewives of Dallas also begins April 11.

Michael Shay (for our purposes, Shay) joins the group. No surprise, they talk about his substance abuse that was a large part of the past season. He says it started before he and Scheana were dating. He started taking Vicodin when he got a sports injury. Andy asks why Scheana waited so long to say something and she says she kept thinking it would pass. Lisa was disappointed in how he handled things in blaming Scheana. They talk about how they had the rest of the group there when everything came out in the open.

Scheana says she’d told Jax about it, but he says he doesn’t remember. Scheana says Jax doesn’t listen. Andy calls him a colander and he doesn’t know what that means. To his credit, Jax apologizes for being an idiot when he went on and on about how it was Scheana’s fault. Andy brings up Scheana thinking that Shay could party somewhat even though he’s an addict. We flash back to some of her enabling. Scheana tears up and says she did the best she could with the knowledge that she had.

Tom says that sometimes Scheana used Shay’s illness to talk down to him. Lisa defends Scheana, saying she’s seen her being uplifting to Shay. Scheana says that she’s changed her way of looking at things and her behavior. Lala apologizes. She says being an outsider looking in, you don’t know what’s really going on behind the scenes. Probably one of the few mature remarks we’ll hear during the reunion.

They talk about Shay quitting the pills cold turkey without meetings. Lisa says she doesn’t get that and Shay says one of the things he feared was her judgment. Lisa says she was angry at him for lying to Scheana. Shay says it’s been tough because it’s been their first year of marriage along with him kicking his addictions, but he says if he hadn’t been married, he probably wouldn’t have cleaned up his act. The conversation ends on an up note, with Lisa saying Scheana is Shay’s greatest asset and him agreeing.

Next on the agenda is Ariana’s 30th birthday party. It was a kiddie theme because she wanted to do something out of the ordinary. They talk about Lala not being invited and Tom going to Vegas when Ariana needed him. We flash back to her telling Tom about her birthday issues and missing her father. Lisa says they’re all ridiculous and should take their relationships more seriously, instead of going to Vegas, which was “built for trouble.” I’ve never been there and have no desire to go.

They talk about the girls dipping into the lady pond, which Lala claims never to have done, and Andy says he’s never been with a woman either. Then everyone confesses everything or not. Zzzzz…. The Toms getting Vegas tattoos is discussed. Katie says she actually likes Schwartz’s “Bubba” tattoo, but Tom says he basically Googled “cool” and came up with the letter “A.” How drunk was he? While he had one laser treatment done, which we saw on the show, he hasn’t had another yet. No doubt Bravo was footing the bill for the first one.

Kristen’s apology tour is revisited. James says it was bs and Ariana agrees. They think she was only apologizing because she wanted to be invited to Hawaii. They go back and forth about Ariana having kissed Tom while he was living with Kristen and Kristen sleeping with several other people, including Jax, while she was living with Tom . Lisa thinks her apologies were self-serving. Probably.

Tom says she got advice from her therapist and has been regurgitating it the whole season. Andy asks if there’s anything Kristen can do to make Tom at peace with her. Tom says he already is and then he and Kristen argue about who was whose friend first. Tom says he’s cool, but he has things to say if asked and a lot of damage has been done. That doesn’t sound at peace to me.

Lala says she thought she and Kristen were good, but then Kristen talked smack behind her back. Kristen says Lala was hooking up with her ex-boyfriend. She says she doesn’t like the things Lala has said on social media. Lala says Kristen is fake. Kristen says she’s the least fake person in the world and Lala says, no, me. Ariana says Kristen can say she owns this or that, but she has no idea of the ripple effect her actions have caused.

Everyone starts talking at once. And using the f-word.

Next time, The Reunion — Part Two, James says Jax is jealous, Stassi joins the group, and so does Brittany.

Dillon is breaking out the champagne, but Maxie thinks it’s too early to celebrate. Dillon says what else could go wrong, but Maxie says that’s what they said about the green issue. Maxie adds that it’s March 15 and the Bible tells them to beware the Ides of March. (Um…no, it doesn’t.)

Epiphany is excited about being in the magazine. Elizabeth just dropped off Jake back at school and tells her about Franco coming to Philly to visit at the hospital. Epiphany asks what’s up with her and Franco.

In the hospital locker room, Franco is looking over the book Helena willed to Elizabeth. Nina comes in. She says she’s been giving him the silent treatment for two days and he hasn’t even noticed.

Sonny tells Max he wants an inquiry into a fugitive — Carrrlos Rivera. He says Carrrlos is alive and on the run. As much as Sonny wants him dead, he says Carrrlos has to be brought in alive so they can nail Julian.

Julian makes breakfast for Alexis. The case is on the front page of the Port Charles Press, and Alexis tells him he’s the best husband in the world. He suggests breakfast in bed.

Jason is in his new place, working on his bike, and Sam shows up with his plaque.

Sonny tells Max his priority is Julian. Kristina comes in and Max says he’ll go deal with it. Sonny asks how Kristina is doing. She says thanks to him, she wasn’t held hostage for long and everyone was pretty surprised when he got out of the wheelchair. She says it meant a lot to have Sonny at the wedding, even before he saved her life. Sonny wants to have a real conversation about school and Parker.

Molly comes over to Alexis’s. She’s brought flowers that are a symbol of good luck. She says a lot of her classmates have been talking about the case, and how it’s all over social media. She’s impressed with her mother’s coolness.

Dillon tells her that the Ides thing is from Julius Caesar. He says he didn’t realize she was so superstitious. She says she isn’t, but she wants Crimson to succeed and knows Julian isn’t keen on it. Dillon says they’re waiting for Tracy’s biopsy results and Tracy isn’t the most patient patient. He’s not crazy about Dr. Mays either. Maxie tells him it will be okay.

Sam is like, nice decorating choice with the bike, and Jason says he’s still waiting on his furniture. She tells him about the will reading and how Helena left her and her sisters a penny. Jason asks how they’re going to divvy it up.

Elizabeth says there’s nothing going on between her and Franco. Epiphany says she’s seen the pictures from the Gala and seen them with their heads together around the hospital. Elizabeth says they were conferring about Jake and she isn’t close to being over Jason.

Franco says Nina is always silent since she’s always at work. He says he’s been working a lot and visiting Kiki, who’s made an improvement. He asks what he did. Nina says he went to Philly to visit Elizabeth and Jake, and didn’t even tell her.

Kristina says an independent study might be weird, but it’s pretty straightforward. She deflects the topic, asking about Morgan. She says it must be hard for Sonny to watch Morgan go through changes. Sonny says he got past it and wants to show Morgan that he can too. He brings the topic back to the independent study and says he’s not swallowing the story.

Alexis says that she’s glad so many women can see it’s important to enforce the allowance of breastfeeding law. Julian is like, hey, it’s not just women that are supportive.

Dillon tells Maxie to relax and that the magazine will be fine. They talk about her being a model. She says she’s worried because the printer asked her if they wanted the issue printed in green again. Dillon says he’s probably just double checking. He says the green issue put them on the map and this one will take them to the next level. The new issue arrives. This ought to be good.

Nina asks if Franco makes house calls to another state. She says Franco told her he would make a terrible father, yet he went to visit Jake without even telling her. She says when two people are living together and in a relationship, they let each other know if they’re going out of town. He says Jake is having a hard time dealing with the Jason thing and she asks if it’s job to fix it. He tells her that he likes Elizabeth, but Nina has nothing to be jealous about. They’re just friends.

Epiphany continues to prod Elizabeth about Franco. Elizabeth says she’s told Franco that they’re not even friends. Epiphany says Franco never got the memo, and neither did Nina. She tells Elizabeth not to get caught between those two wackos.

Maxie opens the box of magazines and all that’s in it are covers. The next box is filled with one other page, and so on.

Julian says he’ll meet Alexis at the courthouse. Alexis says the more press, the better. He goes to work. Molly tells Alexis she seems ridiculously happy. She says she’s happy with TJ too. Alexis says Sam is also happy and that just leaves Kristina. She asks Molly what’s up with her sister anyway.

Kristina says there’s nothing weird about it and she has to get to the courthouse. Sonny says his offer stands that if it gets crowded at Julian’s she’s welcome there. He says maybe if she visits more often and gets more comfortable, she’ll tell him her secret. Yep. Parents always know, even when you think they don’t.

Sam tells Jason she’s better at fixing engines than he is and she can teach him a thing or two. They start to kiss. I guess they have a different definition of fixing an engine than I do.

Each box of the magazine is filled with separate pages and there isn’t one copy of the full issue put together. Get out the binding glue.

Nina says every time she talks about having kids, Franco says he’d be a bad father, but obviously he’s bonded with Jake. Franco says he loves kids and wants to see Nina happy, but he’s trying to be realistic. He thinks no adoption agency will give them a child. Nina tells him about getting a second opinion about having their own child. He says cool, go for it. She asks if she needs to worry about Elizabeth. Franco says no and that he loves her. She says she loves him too, and leaves for work.

Sam and Jason are getting busy, and his phone rings. His delivery is coming in ten minutes.

Elizabeth comes in the locker room and says she heard Nina talking about her. She says they’re not even friends and brings up when Franco kidnaped her child. She says she still doesn’t trust him and not to talk to her unless he has to. She says he’s not going to work with Jake anymore either.

Nina comes into the office. Maxie and Dillon show her the pages. Nina is like, huh? Dillon says the issue wasn’t bound and there are just individual pages in the boxes. It also went to the newsstand that way. Maxie says the printer claims she ordered it that way. Nina says the printer is an idiot. Maxie says if they want to fix it, they have to pay for a new run. Nina says Julian is going to have to shell out the money. Julian is standing behind her and says no he’s not. What a jerk this guy is. Just pay the freaking taxes and stop torturing these girls. I’m also wondering why no one is making noises about wanting to see the printer’s work order and a possible lawsuit if he doesn’t fix things.

Alexis says Kristina admitted she had something to tell her after the wedding and now Kristina is avoiding her. Alexis’s phone rings. It’s Olivia. She tells Molly they’re not done. Kristina arrives and Molly tells her that Alexis knows something is up and she needs to talk to her.

Sonny tells Max about the tuition check for Kristina and the story she told about it not being cashed. He asks Max to find out what’s going on. Because Max has nothing better to do. Yeah, just drop that Carrrlos thing and go hang out at Kristina’s school all day.

Kristina says everyone has their hands full with other things and they don’t need to be worrying about her. Molly says the least she can do is tell her parents about getting kicked out of school. Kristina says then she’ll have to explain everything else. Molly says Alexis loves her and Sonny does too, plus he’s not in a position to be judging other people. Kristina says she wants to figure things out for herself before telling anyone else. Alexis has come back downstairs and says, figure out what?

Julian makes up a bunch of nonsense about why he can’t put any money into the magazine. He says that if anyone can solve it though, it’s Nina, and he has faith that she can. Maxie reminds her about the green issue and how she said they have to embrace the suck. I’m considering putting that on a bumper sticker..

Franco shows Elizabeth the book that she apparently left on top of the lockers. He says it’s disturbing. She says it’s just Helena’s way of bugging her. He asks if she doesn’t want to know what’s meant by never forget and never tell. If she doesn’t, I do.

Jason’s stuff comes and he wants Sam to help decorate. She opens two packages containing framed photos and asks where he got them.

Franco tells Elizabeth she can’t run away from the book. She says doesn’t Franco think she wants to know what Jake’s secret is? Franco asks her to let him still work with Jake and it won’t have anything to do with them, just him and Jake. Elizabeth asks for his help.

Nina hasn’t come up with anything. She asks Maxie if she has any thoughts. Maxie says she thinks someone is sabotaging Crimson.

Kristina says it’s not the time and place to talk, but she’ll talk later. Alexis says she’s going to hold her to that. She says she wanted to take the case so that her daughters will have an easier time of it than her generation did, and not be judged for doing what’s natural.

Sonny shows up. He tells Kristina that whatever she’s keeping from them, she needs to spill it now.

Jason says he got the photos in an antique store. Sam says they were originally his and he had them on the mantel for years. Well, I guess his taste hasn’t changed any.

Tomorrow, Maxie confronts Julian about her sabotage theory, Kristina claims to know nothing about anything, and Sam says she wants a divorce.

Little Women: Atlanta

Finally. The season finale. I don’t know which has been more painful. This, or The Real Housewives of Potomac.

Amanda is trying to focus on her relationship with her boyfriend, Jordan, who actually got a job. They want to move out because it’s gotten to be close quarters with Andrea and her boyfriend, Chris. Even little people can get cramped.

The twins discuss the tension between Minnie and Monie (who sound like a 60’s folk rock duo).

Bri needs to make a decision about her boyfriend, Wooda (cooda shooda). She’s been living with Emily, but it’s a temporary situation. Bri says she has to decide or she and Wooda will just keep going back and forth forever.

Monie is making chicken tacos, surprising Morlin, her boyfriend. She’s not exactly a domestic engineer. Monie talks about her altercation with Minnie. She feels Minnie owes her a big apology. She asks Morlin if she can be a housewife if her voice-over career doesn’t take off.

Morlin says with housewife comes responsibility and he’s been thinking about an addition to their family. Monie asks what kind of dog they’re getting. BA DUM BUM! She says he’d better put a ring on it first.

Minnie wants her friend back because she has good news. She’s written to her father and he responded. He’d denied being her father while she was growing up and she’s always felt not good enough. Although she’s asked him before, he’s now willing to take a DNA test. Her mother is shocked, but says she feels relieved.

Emily is finding out what sex the baby is, and possibly if it’s average or little. She’s gained a pound. The doctor discusses diet with her and she says she’s doing her best to eat healthfully. She’s having a boy, which is what she’d wanted. The doctor does a sonogram. The doctor says she can’t be certain, but she thinks the baby is average sized. Everything is also on schedule.

Amanda is using a lint roller on herself. Do they have pets? They’ve invited Minnie and Monie over for a friendship intervention. Minnie gets there first, but neither one knows the other is coming. Minnie says they both say the other has changed. She says she can’t stand the distance and is ready to put things behind her. Monie arrives.

Commercial break. Terra’s Little Family begins again next Wednesday at 10 pm.

The twins tell Minnie and Monie that they’ve brought them together to be friends again. Minnie says she apologizes and says let’s let the past be the past. Monie says they haven’t exactly set a good example for the twins and wants to move forward.

Minnie tells them she’s having a party called Minnie Turns Over a New Leaf. I didn’t know parties had names. She tells them about reaching out to her father and how she’s ready to stop looking back.

Bri goes back home. She’s decided to end things for good. She tells Wooda he has to find a new place to live. He’s like, aight. Geez, what a catch. Bri says the non-relationship relationship isn’t working for her. They discuss sharing time with Malik. He’s going to sleep on the couch in the meantime and she tells him no sneaking into her room. She gives him a week.

Minnie talks to her mom. She wants her mom to know why a relationship with her father is important. She says that she’d want her future children to have two grandparents. Her mother says her own father was special to her and she’d always wanted Minnie to have a relationship with her father. Minnie wonders if the DNA test says he’s her father, will he step up to the plate? Her mom says if he doesn’t, then it’s his loss.

The twins and their boyfriends go to an indoor trampoline park. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of that before. Amanda tells Andrea that it’s time for her and Jordan to move out. Andrea says she’d better call her every day.

Emily’s daughter, Ava, is coming to visit and they go to Emily’s house. Emily gives her daughter the baby news by giving her a big sister T-shirt, but they still have to explain it since she’s pretty young.

Monie goes with Minnie to fill out the paperwork for the DNA test. The technician takes a DNA sample from Minnie. Monie asks what if he’s not her father. Minnie says she’d have to shake down her mom for answers then.

It’s moving day. Monie and Morlin are there to help, although it doesn’t look like it’s that much stuff. When Amanda leaves, Andrea starts to cry.

It’s time for Minnie’s party. All the girls are finally getting along. Minnie gets the test results and she’s afraid to open them. She’s going to do it at the party, and I wonder if that’s the best idea. The pastor from the bootcamp is also there, along with Juicy.

Monie hasn’t seen Juicy since she threw a drink at her, but Juicy apologizes for what she had said that caused it. Minnie opens the envelope. She starts to cry. The results are 99.999999% in favor of him being her father. It remains to be seen if he’ll be the father she wants.

She calls and tells him the results. He wants to see the hard copy and asks how soon he can get it. She says tomorrow and he says good night. Nice guy. I don’t blame him for wanting to see it, but he sounds like a cold fish. Minnie starts sobbing hysterically.

She recovers though and they make jokes about eyelash glue. She says at least she knows the truth. She says the girls aren’t just her friends, but they’re her family. The dancing commences.

Next week, The Reunion, with Terra as hostess and an appearance by the mysterious Troy.

Little Women: LA

Jasmine is throwing Briana a bachelorette party in Mexico. Christy is buying new luggage. She can fit into most of the bags. Her mom is with her and Christy tells her that Terra and Tonya don’t want to go because they don’t support the marriage. Christy says she doesn’t either, but she wants her friendship with Briana back.

Jasmine and Briana meet Ali at a bar. Briana feels a bond because Ali also eloped in Vegas. Ali says the housewarming party was cool, but she didn’t get good vibes from Terra and Tonya. Jasmine says it’s time to strengthen their bond of friendship or cut the cord. She invites Ali on the trip. Briana says it’s her party and they can cry if they want to.

Terra invites Elena over to update her and Tonya’s makeup look. The first thing Elena tells them is to throw out their 20-year-old makeup. They discuss the bachelorette party. Tonya says she was okay with the marriage until Matt said he wanted to keep the kids from their grandparents.

Terra and Tonya don’t want to go. Jasmine says she thinks Briana would care, but they say she won’t. Elena is still pissed about Briana’s marriage announcement at her wedding vow renewal. She says she isn’t going to tell anyone about her pregnancy until after the party, but she wants everyone to act like grown-ups.

Destination Cancun. Wish I could fit in a suitcase. Terra and Tonya have decided to come along. Jasmine says no one could get mad sitting on a beach in Mexico. She asks that if anyone has a beef, to bring it to her and not Briana. Christy doesn’t think that’s a good way to start off, but I think it is for this group. Tonya is afraid of what will happen after her first Margarita. Here’s a thought, don’t drink.

The hotel is pretty fabulous. The first night they’re keeping it low key, but the next two are for partying. Briana says she doesn’t want strippers, but other than that, she’s open to anything.

Terra visits Elena’s room. She doesn’t think Briana cares if she’s there or not, but she wants to show her support. Elena says she won’t be drinking because she’s pregnant. Elena thought it was fair to tell her first, since Terra told her first with Penny. Terra is excited that they can be pregnant together. She says it’s going to be hard to keep quiet about it, but she wants to give Elena the time she needs.

Tonya and Terra are having drinks when Ali comes by. Ali says she’s glad to see them, but startled, since she heard they weren’t supportive of Briana. Tonya explains that Briana had lied to them about being married. Ali wonders if they had been supportive in the first place, if Briana would have lied. Ali seems confused how they can be supportive of Briana, but not her relationship with Matt. Well you can, but you need to keep your mouth shut.

They have dinner. Briana is wearing a sash and mini bridal veil. Jasmine is fluent in Spanish, which is a plus, especially at a restaurant. Jasmine makes a toast and then Briana makes one. She starts thanking Jasmine and Tonya pretends to choke. She asks Briana if she’s happy they all came. Briana says yes, and Terra says she hopes this can be a new beginning.

Tonya asks again if Briana is happy about them being there. Briana says she is, but she’s hesitant because of the past. Terra says technically, Jasmine invited them, so they wondered. Tonya says she’s not happy with the situation, but she’s there to be supportive of Briana. Is this really necessary? And is being supportive rubbing her nose in it? Tonya says they’ll talk later. Can’t anyone ever just have a weekend?

It’s raining, so Christy, Elena and Ali play ping pong. Christy says Briana is acting more like herself because Matt isn’t around. Elena isn’t sure if Christy is supportive or not because she rides both sides of the fence. Christy says if Briana loves this man and she’s happy, she surrenders. I become super aware of how many times I’m typing “supportive” and “relationship.”

It’s still raining, and Jasmine procures Christy’s help to set up some games. Jasmine brought a bunch of wigs for them to wear. Andy Cohen would like this. Jasmine wants everyone to chill and asks Christy if she thinks Tonya and Terra are here for the right reasons. She says the first person who gives a dirty look is out.

The party begins. Christy says she’s planned a surprise for later. Jasmine says since it’s raining, she thought the wigs would protect their hair. Tonya says she’s allergic to synthetic hair, but she really just doesn’t want to wear it and gets all kinds of insulting in her individual interview. She is one mean lil boss. Jasmine gives the girls popsicles and wants to see what they do with them. Don’t ask. Then they play a question game.

The question Tonya gets to read is what does Briana like about Matt’s character. Crickets chirp. Finally a few struggling answers come out.

Tonya tells Terra afterward that this was the most boring party ever. Christy tells her to just make an attempt at having fun. Tonya says Briana didn’t seem happy. Christy says they weren’t going to bring up Matt. Yeah, for Matt not being here, he sure is present.

Christy says it’s about to get unboring. She says Briana said no strippers, but not no little people strippers.

They have champagne and tequila back in one of the rooms. Jasmine thinks Elena is bringing things down because she won’t drink. Elena makes up something about not feeling well. They turn up the music and start to dance. Ali tells Briana she’s supposed to get black out drunk at her bachelorette party. There’s a knock at the door. It’s the stripper. Briana isn’t happy, she says she’s a married woman, and goes into another room, saying she’s done.

The rest of the girls are into it, but Briana says she’s not coming in. Jasmine says he promises not to touch her. Briana doesn’t want to make the guy feel badly, so she comes back, but says she’s not going to participate. She doesn’t. Kind of. Christy says this is the way to throw a bachelorette party and they all dance.

Tonya wants one on one time with Briana. They have a drink by the pool. Tonya says she’s concerned for Briana’s happiness. She says no one’s marriage is perfect and she wants to make sure Matt is treating her right. She thinks he has control issues. Briana says she’s happy and has nothing to hide. Tonya says she feels in her heart that Briana’s hiding something. She says Briana doesn’t seem like a happy newlywed and she’s different, but not in a good way.

Briana says she’s moving forward in her life and doesn’t have to prove it to anyone. Tonya says it’s hard for the girls to believe because of the lies in the past.

And we’re out.

If you can catch Vanderpump Rules: Uncensored, it’s worth it. A lot of behind-the-scenes stuff and information about how the show came to be.

March 14, 2016 — Helena’s Will & Vanderpump’s Finale

Standard

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital

It’s time for the reading of Helena’s will. Finally.

Nathan tells Dante he’s keeping mum about Claudette with Maxie.

Talking on her cell phone, Maxie says the real woman issue of Crimson will be even more stellar than the green issue. She literally runs into a half-dressed Griffin in the scrub room and her papers go flying everywhere.

Nicholas says no one is looking forward to the reading of the will and he couldn’t be more wrong. I’m sure I can speak for most fans when I say that we’re all looking forward to it. Lulu, Liz and Laura gather. Helena didn’t get up to the M’s yet. Elizabeth is going to leave, but Scotty stops her because surprise! Helena included her.

Laura asks how Scotty became executor and he says it beats him. I vote for Helena thinking it would be amusing. Nicholas says it’s going to be over-the-top and horrible, just like Helena. Laura says none of them have to stay, but they all want to just get it over with.

Sam tells Alexis that Laura seems to believe in Helena’s curses. She and Alexis discuss Jason’s plaque and Sam am tells her how she cut herself on it.

Andre and Anna are at the MetroCourt. Anna says she doesn’t want to tell Andre what she thinks she found out about Griffin yet. Jordan interrupts their lunch.

Nathan tells Dante that Maxie told him she didn’t care about Claudette and the past is the past. Dante says who is this Maxie who’s letting things go?

Maxie gathers up her papers. Maxie and Griffin introduce themselves and she says she’s looking for Epiphany. She slips on the wet floor and Griffin catches her. Lawsuit! Just kidding. Maxie has hurt her ankle and Griffin says to use him as a crutch. She says it wouldn’t be the first time she used a man for that. BA DUM CHHH! Griffin says she can listen to him now and leave with a limp, or end up on crutches tomorrow. He goes to get dressed.

Nathan says if Maxie changes her mind, he’ll remind her about what she said. Dante is like, that’s highly unlikely to help. Both guys are feeling pretty happy with their relationships.

Jordan says her meeting was canceled. Anna says she and Andre weren’t having lunch, just conferring. Anna says Jordan should know something about Andre and her.

Alexis and Sam get to Windemere. It’s just as I predicted. Video will!

Helena says if they’re watching this, all of Robin’s efforts are for naught and she did not achieve immortality. She adds if you’re going to kidnap a scientist, make sure it’s the right one. She says she can guess the circumstances of her death, but doesn’t really know how it will happen. She says she’ll live on in all of them. OMG – I love Helena so much! I’m so excited!

When Helena starts with the “being of sound mind and body,” Alexis is like, really? Helena, who already knows what kind of remarks that would bring, tells them no pausing for conflict.

Sam is first. To be divided with Kristina and Molly is one cent because that’s all Alexis’s kids are worth. Sam is like, cheap insults? Scotty pauses the video and gives Sam a penny in a jewelry box, telling her not to forget there’s an inheritance tax on that. While that was funny, I actually think under 10K, there isn’t any.

Alexis, formerly known as Natasha (I always forget that), is next. Helena says she’s the result of a lack of judgment on Mikkos’s part, and she wants to be remembered always. Scotty gives Alexis a locked box.

Dante tells Nathan the he and Lulu’s divorce papers brought them back together. He says they’re not moving back in together yet, but they’re moving forward. Nathan says he’s sure they’ll work it out. Dante says as long as they’re open and honest with each other, they have a shot. He says he’s not making a comment about Nathan’s decisions about Maxie though.

Whatever Griffin did with Maxie’s ankle did the trick. She says she’ll put in a good word for him, but he says keep it between them because he didn’t follow procedure. She says she has the same MO and she and her ankle thank him for bucking the system. Maxie tells him about the real woman Crimson issue and he says she won’t find anyone more real than Epiphany. She says they’re considering doing an issue on real men, and he’d be perfect. And her professional opinion is that he’s drop-dead gorgeous. Griffin says he appreciates the offer, but he wouldn’t make a good subject. She asks if he’s worried about a scar he has that looks like it’s from a bullet wound and he suddenly has to get back to work. He says he’s flattered, but the magazine isn’t for him.

Alexis opens the box and it’s a music box, playing a song from Madame Butterfly. There is also a program from the same opera in the box. Alexis says it’s the last song her mother sang before she died. Further inside the box is a dagger. Alexis picks it up and calls Helena a bitch.

Alexis says it’s the dagger that Helena used to slit her mother’s throat. Helena asks what Natasha thinks of her legacy and says that her mother got what she deserved. She says she grew fond of Alexis and that’s why she didn’t dispatch her the same way. Alexis has had enough and she and Sam leave. Sam tells Scotty to keep the penny

Next is Elizabeth. I can’t wait.

Anna tells Jordan that she and Andre are friends, but she’s also his patient. She says he’s helping her deal with Duke’s death and she didn’t want Jordan to get the wrong impression. She leaves and Andre asks if Jordan is okay. She says she’s a little thrown that a good friend is telling intimate things to the man she’s seeing. He says Anna was his patient before they started dating. Jordan asks if they don’t usually confer in his office and he says they were just talking as friends.

Dante tells Nathan they all have their history and baggage and he’s sorry he made a big deal out of it. Nathan says Claudette wasn’t just an ex-girlfriend. She was his wife. D’oh!

Helena knows exactly what everyone is saying and tells Nicholas to stop defending Elizabeth. She apologizes for keeping Jake from Elizabeth for so long. Scotty gives Elizabeth a box and inside is a handmade book called Jake’s Adventure. Nicholas suggests she throw it in the fire, but she says Helena is right, she’s not a fragile flower, and leaves.

Helena suggests the book be shown to Jake. (Hmm…. I wonder if it will trigger something if he sees it.) Nicholas is next. She’s leaving everything to the Cassadine Foundation and he gets nothing because he betrayed and disappointed her. He says he never became the Cassadine she wanted him to be.

Scotty brings out an easel. Helena says Nicholas thinks he’s clever, but she knows how much of a Cassadine he is. She says actions speak louder than words and to take a look. It’s a portrait of Helena drinking tea.

Nicholas says he knew she wouldn’t go quietly and would want to torture him. He says the painting isn’t as innocuous as they might think. He has a little flashback to when Helena keeled over. Did he poison her tea? He puts the painting aside. Helena says her image signifies that the two of them will never be finished.

Helena says Lulu has done the most for her, more than she’ll ever know.

Maxie drops in on Nathan. She wonders why he and Dante look so serious.

Griffin calls Brad and leaves a message to let him know about Tracy’s biopsy. Anna comes out of the elevator and runs into him. He seems to be in everyone’s way today.

Elizabeth looks at the book. It talks about a boy named Jake going into the woods, meeting an old woman and having an adventure, but we don’t see most of it.

Sam and Alexis go back to the bar and get stiff drinks. Alexis says there’s nothing Helena could have given her that’s more morbid and cruel, but it’s the last morbid and cruel thing Helena will do to her.

Helena says she owes Lulu something and she might not appreciate it right away, but there might come a time when her life is empty and it will give her what she needs. Lulu opens an empty envelope. Helena says it might seem puzzling, but she’s smart and will figure it out. There’s writing on the envelope, but I don’t know if it’s important and we don’t really see it. Lulu leaves the envelope on a chair.

Last is Laura, who Helena says had the biggest impact on her life. She says she had a final moment with Luke before he left for parts unknown and she’s going to have a final word for Laura. She and Laura have come to an end. She took from Helena the thing she loved most, her beloved Mikkos, but because she’s the bigger person, she’s giving Laura a key to what she loved and lost.

There’s a key in the box. Helena says remember, it’s the key to what she loved and lost.

Nathan says Dante just gave him huge news. Dante tells Maxie that he and Lulu are getting back together.

Andre has a patient and has to go. He asks Jordan if they can resume their date tomorrow. He says he knows it was awkward, but he couldn’t tell Jordan that Anna was his patient before she did. Jordan says she understands.

Anna says she thinks she knows who Griffin is and why he’s been following her.

Elizabeth gets to the end of the book that says Jake and the old woman had more adventures. The old woman’s last words to him are, “Never forget, Jake, and never tell.” DUN DUN DUUUUN!

Alexis is wondering what to do with the murder weapon. Ebay? She says she’s getting rid of Helena’s trash and tells Sam not to worry about any curses, but be careful of self-fulfilling prophecies. She gives the box to the bartender to throw away, but then changes her mind.

Lulu tells Laura to throw the key away and forget what Helena said. Laura says she hasn’t decided yet, but Lulu has to get to work. Nicholas asks if she’s going to pursue what the envelope was about.

Tomorrow, Valerie tells Dante that her personal life is none of his business, Anna figures out who Griffin is, and Ava freaks out over Kiki.

Vanderpump Rules

Jax is back from Hawaii. Apparently, he’s not in jail. The felony was dropped to a misdemeanor and if he stays out of trouble, it will be dropped from his record. He’s so grateful, he won’t stop complaining and he’s being a complete ass to Brittany.

Stassi has found a new apartment and claims to have her mojo back. We’ll see. She and Kristen chug champagne from the bottle because they are sooo classy.

Jax continues to bitch at Brittany because the apartment is too small. He says being in the jail cell was the most peace he’s had in a while. I’m sure it can be arranged for him to go back if he liked it so much. What a d-bag this guy is.

James tells Tom and Ariana that he and Kristen went out to dinner. He’s still interested in Lala and is just holding out for the best opportunity.

Lala is surprised that Katie invited her to the engagement party. She says she’s going to need a lot of liquid courage. How is this different from any other party? Scheana says she’s more worried about Ariana being there. James has graciously told Lala that Kristen called her a ratchet whore. I can’t believe she’s even interested in that scrawny dweeb, although they deserve each other.

Tom says he’s known Jax a long time. Jax has stolen from him, slept with his girlfriends, talked smack about him, yet he’d miss him if he was gone. Sigh.

Lisa asks Jax how it went and he says the court doesn’t have time for people like him. Lisa says not to minimize it. She says he’s being aggressive and he says he’s just tired. Lisa says the only way to learn from a situation is to be accountable and it’s doubtful Jax will ever learn that. I added that last part.

It’s almost time for what’s sure to be the engagement party from hell. It’s a million degrees out and Katie never thought of umbrellas for the tables, so she borrows some of Lisa’s.

Tom is playing at the after party. Ariana says she needs to have closure with Scheana

Kristen and Stassi have decided to crash the party. Stassi says good thing Kristen doesn’t have self-respect and dignity weighing her down. Why borrow umbrellas? Katie can just use Stassi’s shade. James has been texting Kristen. He claims he still loves her. It sounds like she kinda sorta wants to get back together with him.

Many of Katie’s family members arrive, as well as Schwartz’s mother. Katie’s brother has a man bun and I cringe. I’m allergic to man buns, meaning the hairdo. If Lala really drank what she says she did before getting there, it’s a wonder she isn’t passed out already. Ken and Lisa arrive. Giggy! There is miniature golf and bubble-blowing going on.

Here come the gate crashers. Kristen is all what if, and Stassi tells her to stop talking. James says he sees trouble. And yep, it’s coming.

Katie welcomes the girls, but everyone else is so startled, they stay put. Schwarz says this puts him in an uncomfortable position with Lisa. Lisa says apparently two gates aren’t enough to keep them out and tells everyone to do what they want. Stassi meets Brittany and more drinking happens.

James shows Lisa the PUMP CD. She’s put it on hold, but he still made a demo. Lisa says she’s proud of him for doing better, but if he drinks, he’s going to fail. James says hi to Kristen. Lala says everything about Kristen pisses her off, right down to her shoes. Kristen says James will go places if he can overcome being his own worst enemy. Stassi ignores Jax.

Lisa gives a little speech, giving Katie and Schwartz her blessing. She asks if anyone wants to say anything, and amends that to anyone except Kristen, who gets up to talk anyway. Lala makes faces while she talks. Tom says it’s the longest speech ever and Kristen lacks self-awareness. Lala yells for her to wrap it up and Katie says if anyone is going to be rude, they can leave the way they came.

Afterward the group goes to SUR. More drinking! Selfies! More drinking! Scheana asks to talk to Ariana. She says she feels like they’re not on the same page anymore and asks if Ariana still wants to be friends. Ariana says that depends. Scheana’s been talking smack behind her back and Ariana thinks it has to do with her great desire to be popular and liked by everyone. Scheana starts to cry and apologizes. Ariana says this is the real Scheana and maybe they can salvage the friendship.

More drinking! James is all over Lala, totally grossing me out. Kristen calls Lala a walking STD. Lala says she’s the one person Kristen doesn’t want to mess with and pushes her, telling Kristen to sit down. Frankly, this is another show where it’s debatable who I like least. Seriously, is it because they’re millennials or from L.A. or what? When I was in my 20s, no one I knew behaved like this.

James breaks it up and says enough. Stassi tells Lala she should own it and say she screwed up. She should know better than to argue with a drunk. It’s time for Tom’s band to play and there’s Lala sitting on James’s lap. Good luck getting back together with Kristen now. The band does their video song and Lisa wonders if it’s a comedy act.

More drinking? Giggy! Ken and Lisa have joined the group. James brags about how much weed he ate and smoked beforehand. Kristina says he’s wasted and he curses her out. Jax says you can’t talk to women like that and James is clearly not sober. James tries to get Jax to fight with him because Jax is on probation. Both Schwartz and Peter try to get James to shut up. James continues to goad Jax who wants to punch him in the face, and Lisa comes over and tells them to knock it off. Really. Grow the blip up.

Lisa tells James to take a seat. Jax says he solves things with his fists which isn’t good for someone on probation. Yep. James leaves, telling Kristen he’ll text her tomorrow. James meets Lala outside and goes to her house. He so creeps me out.

Jax and Lisa talk about Stassi. Jax goes over to Stassi and asks how she’s doing. They make awkward small talk. They talk about their relationship and we get a bunch of flashbacks. Jax says he’ll always be there for her. Stassi says there’s something to be said for history with people and they started this group of friends together. She talks about him cheating on her and he says he thinks things didn’t work out with her boyfriend and she came back with her tail between her legs to the friends that she dumped. I’m torn between being astounded at how astute Jax can be on occasion and being startled that this conversation went downhill so fast.

Jax says he’s not saying this to hurt her. They talk about Brittany and Stassi says that she likes Brittany, and hopes he doesn’t screw it up, adding that he’s been treating Brittany unfairly. Knowing that Stassi is right, Jax tells Brittany he loves her and says let’s go home.

Katie tells Stassi that she’s not saying they can’t be friends again, but she doesn’t think they can be the same friends they once were. Katie and Schwartz thank Lisa and go home.

Lisa says some have made important steps and gone through dark says and some will never learn, adding the more things change, the more they stay the same.

This was the finale, so next week, The Reunion.

One last Giggy! Lisa and Giggy are on Watch What Happens Live, along with a new Pom from the pound, Harrison.

Sadly, tonight is also the finale of the Vanderpump After Show…sniff….

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Sam is meeting Baxter. She’s speaking with Nicholas on the phone when Baxter walks in. They’re meeting at a bar that looks suspiciously like The Floating Rib, even though I thought they were supposed to meet in NYC. What did I miss?

Lulu asks to come in and Dante says of course. She sees the divorce decree. He says it seems so final, and it is, but seeing it in black and white is different. Lulu asks him to hear her out.

Sonny asks Carly if she’s going to leave him, and she says he doesn’t want to ask her that tonight. I guess that means she’s not in the best mood. She says she loves him, and he says he knows, but he also knows love has its limits. Carly says she’s hurt that he didn’t trust her. He says he was trying to protect her. She says she knows exactly the business strategy he was going for, but she hates that the business causes him to lie to her and the kids. She says she actually loves that he’s an alpha male and doesn’t feel she has the right to be angry about it. She’s angry at herself.

Lulu says she still feels all over the place, but mostly just sad about what happened to them. She says when Dante saved her life, it put everything in perspective and she realized she’s been unfair. She’s about to tell him something important when there’s a knock at the door.

Nicholas has ensconced Elizabeth and the boys at Windemere. Hayden says she knows Elizabeth is his dearest friend, but she obviously doesn’t like Hayden. She says they’re newlyweds and it is a little crowded. Why are these people on top of each other? It’s a castle for Pete’s sake. Nicholas says she seems sad and Hayden says she knows how he can cheer her up.

Baxter looks like a character out of American Psycho. Sam says she just went through a divorce and attained some big assets. She says she fudged a little, using the financial bigwig’s name to get him to meet her. He says it wouldn’t be the first time someone did that, but who did recommend him?

Hayden says Nicholas doesn’t know how much she needed that and I don’t want to know what it was. She says she called the hospital to see how Tracy is, and tells Nicholas what happened at the MetroCourt. She says it’s left her on edge and he asks when she became so attached to Tracy.

Dr. Mays, Griffin and Monica are in Tracy’s room. Griffin wants to observe the tests. Tracy is like, why not invite the whole world in? Dr. Mays says that Tracy’s MRI confirmed multiple brain lesions, which could indicate more than one brain tumor. They have to determine if it’s operable, but they need to see if it’s malignant first. Tracy asks if she has cancer and Monica says they don’t know yet.

Baxter talks to Sam about investments. Sam tells Baxter that “Rachel” was right about him and shows him her picture.

It’s Olivia at Dante’s door. She’s there to pick up Rocco’s blanket and gets nosy about the both of them being there together.

Carly says she’s angry with herself for looking the other way and enjoying the power without counting the cost. She goes over some of the things that have happened with their family and says she should have learned from it. She says after that, she hid her love for him, but when he kissed her at the hospital and Sonny said he knew her better than she knew herself, she was hooked again. He says now he’s losing her all over again.

Carly says she’s not leaving Sonny. What would be the point? They’d just end up with other people and break their hearts. Carly says she’d crawl on broken glass to be with Sonny, and that’s never going to change. He tells her the feeling is mutual. He says he needs her more than he’s ever needed anyone and always will. She asks how long always is.

Dante tells Olivia they were in the middle of something. The phone rings and it’s the station, telling him Raj was spotted. He leaves and Olivia says she doesn’t know whose timing is worse, hers or the criminals. She recognizes Lulu is worried about Dante because she loves him.

Griffin tells Tracy not to jump the gun on the prognosis. Dr. Mays says someone will let her know once the tests are scheduled.

Hayden says Tracy calls her at least once a week about ELQ. She says Tracy’s goal is to waste her time and annoy her. She says she never thought of Tracy as anything but a minor nuisance, but when she collapsed, it brought back Hayden’s father having a heart attack. She says he recovered and when she visited him in the hospital, he said he’d never leave her.

Baxter says he’s grateful for the recommendation, but he doesn’t remember Rachel. Sam says Rachel told her she ran into him in Vegas. Baxter said he was there, but he would have remembered such a beautiful woman. He excuses himself to check in with the Hong Kong office. Sam says to herself that he might be a good liar, but she’s better.

Nicholas says Hayden never talks about her family. She says her parents are gone now and she doesn’t see any reason to look back. She says she has a surprise for Nicholas.

Lulu says Dante is smart and doesn’t take unnecessary risks, but then she worries this will be the time something goes wrong and she’ll never be able to tell him what she came to tell him. Olivia tells her not to take for granted that someone will always be there and to say what she has to say while she has the chance. They hug, exchange I love yous, and Olivia leaves. Lulu picks up Dante’s wedding ring.

Carly says she knows the world is a dangerous place, and Sonny perpetuates the cycle with the business he’s in. Sonny says he tries his best to keep the peace and that if he wasn’t there, someone worse would take his place. Carly says he makes crime look good and danger look sexy and it’s not. She just wants it to stop.

Tracy is getting ready to leave the hospital, and Monica stops by. Tracy says she’ll be back when the biopsy is scheduled, and until then she’s moving on with her life. Monica says she needs support and isn’t doing herself any favors by isolating. Tracy says she’s leaving and Monica should do the same.

Griffin asks Monica how Tracy is. She says that Tracy is her own worst enemy, so she’s going to monitor things whether Tracy likes it or not. She asks Griffin if he has a second opinion and he says he has a few ideas. Monica tells him to pursue them. He says Dr. Mays won’t be happy and Monica is like, too bad for him.

Hayden gives Nicholas a first edition of The Great Gatsby as a wedding gift. She wrote an inscription, but she doesn’t want him to read it with her there because she’s embarrassed by sentiment. She tells im to read it after she’s gone. She’s going to the office, maybe just a little to avoid Elizabeth.

Baxter returns and Sam says she’s interested in having him manage her account. She asks Baxter to get her a scotch on the rocks. While he’s at the bar, she takes a screen shot of his phone contact list.

Lulu is looking at family photos when Dante gets back. He says it was a false alarm. Lulu grabs Dante and starts kissing him. He kisses her back.

Carly says she keeps thinking about Kiki bleeding on the pier. Sonny passes the responsibility ball to Ava. Carly says Ava is a terrible person, but Sonny needs to handle his own situation without guns. Using what? Balloon animals? Good luck with that.

Monica brings Tracy her anti-seizure meds and says she has to be diligent about following instructions. Tracy says Monica probably can’t wait for her to keel over and join Alan in the crypt. Monica says she’s put up with her for years and if she doesn’t like Monica overseeing things, than tough.

Nicholas reads the inscription: To my Gatsby, Love always, Your Daisy.

That’s the sentiment she was embarrassed about? I’m disappointed. Nicholas flashes back to asking Hayden to marry him. Wasn’t hat like a week ago?

Baxter is telling Sam about Asian investments, when Hayden almost walks into the bar. I guess it is The Floating Rib. What happened to the NYC plans?

Lulu tells Dante he’d said the divorce didn’t matter and he loves her no matter what, and she feels the same way. She says as long as they’re alive, they have a chance, and she wants to take it. Dante says him too. They decide to get back together.

Sonny says he’ll do what he can to deescalate the violence, but he doesn’t know how much he can help. Carly says it’s enough that he heard her. They talk about when they got back together the last time. They make some cute banter and end with I love yous. What is this? The Valentine’s Day episode?

Tomorrow, Lulu and Dante are together again, Hayden tells Nicolas that Baxter is lying, and Curtis asks Hayden if she’s in trouble.

Vanderpump Rules

Giggy! It’s just the opening credits, but omg, I love that dog. He is my TV dog crush, and next to my own, the cutest dog on the planet.

It looks like the servers are actually working at SUR. Katie blindsides Lisa by asking if she can have her engagement party at Lisa’s house. Like a kid who wants a dog, she says she’ll take care of it and clean up after it. Lisa says okay to a small barbecue. And they’d better be gone by sundown. The subject of Stassi being invited comes up, but Lisa isn’t having it. She puts the kibosh on Kristen as well. Katie is like, sorry, Stassi and Kristen.

Tom is getting ready to shoot a music video with his band Charles McMansion. They’ve spent 9K so far, and haven’t even filmed yet. An esthetician comes to Tom’s house to give Tom and Ariana facials with all the works in preparation. Is this in the budget? Tom says he doesn’t want a shot ruined by bad skin. Isn’t that king of thing that’s fixed on the film later?

James and Kristen meet at a wine bar. James has been sober for a whole week, so this is a great place for a rendezvous. In her individual interview, Kristen gloats over being able to drink buckets of free wine, while James can’t, proving once again that she’s not even human. Kristen tells James she hopes his last escapade was rock bottom. Kristen says she’s moved on and she’s happy (with some guy named Carter). They get some food, and as always on these shows, it looks fantastic.

Kristen brings up Lala. James says he’s not even interested in her. I give James the side eye. Kristen asks if he slept with mutual friend Jenna and he says yes, although he’d lied to her about it during the relationship. Kristen jumps up from the table, and won’t even give James a good-bye. Because she’s totally moved on and is happy with Carter. They talk outside the bar. James tells her he’s missed her and how they used to be best friends in the beginning. He says he misses her when he sees that little glare in her eye, and I choke on my cup o’ tomato soup.

Kristen says she’s a real catch, causing me to choke again. She hugs James and gives him a friend kiss. They go on down the sidewalk together, making me wonder if anyone paid the tab.

Kristen has been working on her T-shirt line for a year and a half now. She had a falling out with her original partner, and went into debt, but things seem to be picking up. Stassi has come with her to check on the line. Stassi asks if Kristen thinks that she’ll ever get back in with Katie, and then switches subject to Kristen making out with James in a car. She asks for details like it’s high school.

James tells Lala about the car make-out session. And how they ended up having sex on top of his beloved Beemer. Lala is like, you already have a huge string of misfortune in which Kristen is the common denominator and asks what the blip is wrong with him.

Scheana is at Katie and Schwartz’s place, helping with the engagement party plans. Schwartz says Katie isn’t giving much thought to the budget. She says Schwartz isn’t contributing many ideas. Katie tells them it’s going to be at Lisa’s house, but Lisa doesn’t want Kristen or Stassi there. Scheana flashes back to her own engagement party experience, and how Kristen created chaos with Stassi and says this is probably a good idea.

It’s a busy night at SUR. Lisa is talking to Jax on his break. He asks for Saturday night off because he’s due in court in Hawaii early on Monday. Lisa asks if he knows what the outcome is going to be, but he doesn’t. It could be anything from a slap on the wrist to jail time. Lisa says she’s glad in a way and asks if he’s learned a lesson. Jax says sometimes it doesn’t hit him until later what he’s done and he absolutely has remorse. Lisa says the only thing he does better than getting into trouble is getting out of it. She tells Jax okay on the day off and tells him hopefully, she’ll see him on Tuesday.

Some of the gang goes to the turtle races. Yes, you read that right. Stassi says she’s trying not to be aggressive with Katie in pushing the friendship. When Katie shows up, they share an awkward hug. Katie says Stassi does seem to have changed. Kristen has brought Carter, with whom Katie once had a one-night stand. Figures. More awkwardness. I think Schwatz is a little turned on though.

Kristen says she’s not thrilled with a dive bar turtle-racing date, but it’s a trade-off for stepping out on Carter with James. I think this looks like a weird and fun place to spend an evening. Katie breaks the bad news to Kristen and Stassi that they’re uninvited to the engagement party. Stassi says it blows, and Kristen says Lisa is still finding a way to yell at her even though she doesn’t work at SUR anymore.

Jax and the newly enhanced Brittany are out for dinner. More fabulous food! Brittany teases Jax about it being his last free meal and gets his hackles up. He says it’s not like he robbed a bank. They talk about the engagement party. Jax says he’s not fully on board with marriage, whatever that means. Oh, it’s the old why do you need a piece of paper argument. Well, there’s a lot of legal reasons for one. Brittany says she wants to know if they’re in a committed relationship or did Jax have her move there for nothing? Jax says he’s at a moment of crisis and talking about marriage right now is too much. I have to admit, this probably isn’t the best time to bring it up. Brittany says if you love someone, it’s important to move forward and Jax loses his appetite.

Schwarz and Jax are practicing some golf swings and Jax tells him about the marriage discussion. Jax hates hearing about Tom’s band, so he brings them up. Methinks Jax is jealous that Tom actually has some things going on in his life other than going to court. Schwartz tells him about having the party at Lisa’s place, and how Stassi and Kristen aren’t allowed to attend.

The music video is being set up. Schwartz is there to help and is impressed with the craft service table. Most of the cast is working for free and several of them are Tom’s co-workers. He’s left Scheana out because he knows it will be a grueling day and he can’t afford dealing with someone who wants to talk about feelings. Lala is featured in the video as a straight-laced woman unleashed by a sexual liberation machine. That first part will probably be a stretch for her.

Schwartz talks to Ariana about how she and Tom are being unfairly treated by the others. From what we see of it, the video actually looks pretty good.

The swans and ponies are in place at Villa Rosa. Schwartz is there wandering around and inadvertently lets the ponies into the house. Lisa appears, asking him if he’s crazy, saying they’re going to poop on the floor. She is not too thrilled. Schwartz tells her the party is going to be a “linen and lace theme,” but Lisa can dress however she wants. Gee, thanks. He talks about the food. Lisa keeps telling him how she wants the party six miles away from the house. She adds that she doesn’t want to see Stassi or Kristen either.

Stassi is apartment hunting. Ugh! One of the realtors has a man bun. The realtors leave them to discuss and instead of the apartment, they discuss the upcoming engagement party. They’ve decided to crash it regardless of Lisa’s wishes. They seem to think that Lisa would be concerned about appearing selfish and not ask them to leave. I don’t think they know Lisa very well. I’m not saying she might not let it go, but it won’t be for that reason.

It’s Friday night dinner prep at SUR. Jax says he’s leaving early to get ready for his flight. Scheana says Jax is being too nonchalant and needs to take it more seriously. He hopes he’ll be back in time for the party. Katie tells Ariana she hopes she and Tom can make it, and they don’t have to pretend to have too much fun. Bleh. She didn’t have to make that remark.

It’s time for Jax’s departure. Brittany asks what’s going to happen and wishes she could go with him. Jax says he feels like he’s in jail already in his apartment. He thinks it’s time to slow things down. He thinks letting Brittany moving in was a mistake and too much for him. I think he’s an idiot and Brittany is too good for him.

Next week — the finale (…sniff…) — Stassi and Kristen crash the engagement party, Jax fights with James, and Lala and Kristen tangle.

What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & recaps from today’s real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Nathan is drifting off to sleep when Maxie tells him she loves him. He says, “I love you too, Claudette,” prompting Maxie to asks who the blip that is, but he’s already asleep.

At the MetroCourt, Alexis goes over the events of the wedding with Julian. She adds that the good of being married to him outweighs the bad stuff. Sam comes along to check up on them.

Tracy is reading about Paul’s arms bust on her tablet. Hayden comes along and asks how she’s doing. Tracy says apparently she misjudged someone, meaning Paul. Hayden goes over Tracy’s romantic history and how she ignored ELQ for a long time. Hayden wonders why she’s so interested in the company now.

The doctor at Shriners tells Jason and Elizabeth that Jake is out of surgery. The surgery was successful and the doctor goes over what they did, and also explains some things about Shriners. They’re going to keep Jake overnight, but he should be able to do his therapy in Port Charles.

Alexis tells Sam they have a lot to be grateful for and Julian adds that it could have been worse. Sam asks about Kiki and gives Alexis and Julian a gift certificate for dinner and a night at the hotel. Because no one can ever spend enough time there.

Elizabeth and Jason drum up contributions for Shriners. The boys come in with a surprise for Jake.

Lucas tells Anna that Nathan is going to be okay. She asks about Kiki and he introduces her to Griffin. Anna asks if they’ve met before, but he doesn’t think so. He says Kiki is critical but stable and the prognosis is wait and see. He keeps looking at her in a strange way.

Felicia comes running in. She talks with Anna while Griffin walks away looking perplexed.

Nathan is awake. Maxie tells him that he was talking in his sleep. She asks who Claudette is.

Felicia muses over them thinking the bad guy, Paul, is now the good guy. Anna says that might not necessarily be the case.

Nathan says Claudette was his dog when he was a kid. He asks Maxie if she’s jealous and she says no, it’s sweet, but kind of odd. Nathan says it’s probably the pain killers. She also thinks Claudette is a weird name for a dog, but he says not a French poodle. I don’t think it’s weird for any dog. I like when dogs have human names. Felicia drops by. Actually, I have a dog named Felicia. She’s not named after this Felicia, but after Felicia from Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. See, Maxie? Not all that weird.

Anna goes to the chapel and Andre comes in.

Nicholas is with the boys and they tell Elizabeth the surprise is from Spencer. Nicholas explains that Spencer had wanted to open a lemonade stand, but realized it’s not very profitable in the wintertime. So instead he manufactured and sold the bow ties the boys have on and cleaned up, along with Nicholas adding a few zeros. They talk about Shriners again and Elizabeth takes the boys to visit Jake.

Jason tells Nicholas thanks, but it isn’t going to change anything regarding the lawsuit.

Alexis asks if Jason knows what happened. Sam says she doesn’t think so, because he’s been wrapped up with Jake’s surgery.

Hayden asks why Tracy is interested in running ELQ. Tracy says perhaps her family legacy has something to do with it. Hayden says Tracy left Port Charles for years and tried to shake her family. Tracy says her father was a samurai at business and could make the person who invented tough love cry. Hayden says the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Tracy says her father was still her father, and is the reason she’s so involved, but Hayden wouldn’t understand considering how her father is. Hayden says Tracy doesn’t know squat about it and tells her to be careful; her next words could determine her future.

Hayden says Tracy might have read about Hayden’s family, but she doesn’t know any more than the reporters did. She said her father was no saint, but there was more to him than his worst day. Tracy apologizes, knowing what people thought of her own father. They agree their relationships with their fathers were complex and complicated. Tracy says they’re here to talk about the other man in Hayden’s life — Nicholas.

Jason tells Nicholas not to get comfortable with ELQ being his. Elizabeth comes in and reminds them why they’re at the hospital. Jason goes in to visit Jake.

Felicia tells Nathan better to go after the bad guys when you’re armed. Maxie says it’s her fault for telling him to take off his gun because it ruined the line of his tux. Felicia suggests they talk to Lucas and she and Maxie leave.

Andre sits with Anna. She says she has to reevaluate what she knows about Paul now. She says she hasn’t processed the turn of events yet and is going to concentrate on finding Carrrlos. When that’s done, she’ll get justice for Duke. Andre asks her what happens after that, and she says she goes to prison.

Anna says she should pay for the crime of shooting Carrrlos. Andre asks why. Anna says it must be difficult for him, Anna being his patient and him dating Jordan. He says he’s been doing his job for a while and part of it is keeping secrets. He asks what bringing Duke to justice means for her and will she be able to move on once it’s done.

Jason comes in to Jake’s room where the boys are signing his cast. They talk about playing baseball and Jake seems like a normal kid for once.

Elizabeth thanks Nicholas. He says he’s always there for her and her sons and she can stay at Windemere for as long as she likes. Elizabeth says she kind of hates his wife, and right now she wants to focus on Jake and getting him to open up about his years with Helena, which no one has really addressed. Yeah, perhaps they should do that before he has children of his own and locks them in the basement.

Elizabeth asks about the wedding. Nicholas tells the story and Jake walks in. He asks about Sam. Nicholas says she’s fine, but Jason wants to call her.

And he does. Sam confirms she’s fine and will fill him in later. He says Jake is doing well, and asks if Danny could come for a visit.

Felicia says she just wanted to get Maxie alone and asks how Nathan is. Maxie tells her about Claudette the poodle. Maxie says him having a French poodle doesn’t make sense. Really? We just got done with an episode where he’d explained that he grew up privileged and has two tuxedos. Maxie tells Felicia about finding the glove in his jacket pocket. Felicia says Nathan loves her and never gave her a reason not to trust him. Maxie says Dante never gave Lulu a reason not to trust him either.

Hayden tells Tracy that Nicholas took to the boys to see Jake and maybe he’s not as ruthless as they thought. As Julian and Alexis are leaving, Tracy says there goes the happy couple, and that she bets that’s a wedding Hayden wishes she hadn’t gone to. Hayden says it was a great wedding until it wasn’t.

Anna says she doesn’t know where her life is going at this point. Andre wonders how her family would feel if she went to prison. She says how often does she see them anyway? Andre asks if she wants to go to jail. She says at this point in her life she has no reason to be free. Andre tells her she needs to get some sleep. I think she needs some antidepressants. She tells him he’s right and he should charge her. He says he’ll listen to her problems and feelings, but won’t tolerate her running herself down. He tells her everyone is allowed to be weak and have regrets. He says she’s feeling her humanity and he hates to break it to her, but she is human.

Nathan tells Maxie he doesn’t want her to doubt his love. Felicia comes in with a stuffed poodle.

Julian and Alexis introduce themselves to Griffin and ask how Kiki is. He says she’s holding her own. He says she has a long road ahead and they don’t know the repercussions of her injuries yet.

Tracy says the gunfire must have brought back Hayden’s getting shot. Tracy says it must have been traumatic. Hayden wonders if Tracy isn’t as ruthless as she seems. Tracy says she has a reputation to uphold, but starts to space out again, making me wonder what the blip is happening with her.

Ava is in with Kiki, who is only allowed on visitor at a time. Alexis suggests she and Julian use the gift certificate. Like moths to a flame, they head for the MetroCourt.

Felicia asks if Nathan is going to name the poodle Claudette Junior? I’m not sure if she just thinks the whole thing is funny or she’s trying to accuse him of something. Felicia suggests they look into getting Nathan released. When they’re gone, Nathan tells the poodle not to look at him that way

Nicholas goes in to visit Jake and Sam shows up at Shriners. Jake wants to stay at Windemere, so that settles that.

Andre tells Anna to call him if she needs him. He says a lot of people care about her and it would be a shame if they were forced to be without her.

Tracy starts to have a seizure and Hayden calls for help

Tomorrow, Jordan wants to talk to Hayden, Elizabeth realizes how serious Jason and Sam are (sigh — how dim is this woman?) and Hayden yells for someone to call 911.

Vanderpump Rules

Hahahahaha! James got the boot from PUMP. I know it was last week, but I just had to laugh again.

Scheana says the best day to be at SUR is payday. IMO, that’s the best day to be at any job. Katie tells Scheana about being upset about Ariana faking having fun with them. For whatever reason, Schwartz was unsupportive, so Katie sent him many drunk texts saying she’s sorry she ever met him. Right now, he’s not talking to her.

Katie says Ariana is being icy and condescending. Lisa comes in and asks if the girls are working tonight. They aren’t, but they stick around and tell Lisa about the Palm Springs trip. Lisa is concerned that Katie won’t stand her ground with Stassi, but I think Katie has that down at this point. She and Scheana haven’t told anyone that they’re going to show up, since Katie doesn’t want Stassi to have some speech prepared.

Jax and Schwartz are helping Peter babysit his girlfriend’s son. They start with having a drink. Schwartz talks about Katie’s rage texts. He says he knows it’s the alcohol, but it still hurts. He says Katie is the Shakespeare of rage texting and it‘s brutal poetry, which is kind of poetic itself.

Sarah and her son, Liam, arrive at Peter’s place. Liam immediately wants to know who is going to play the princess. Schwartz gets the crown. Sarah gives them a list of rules, but Schwartz says all bets are off once she leaves. He thinks babysitting is awesome because you get to be a kid again. Obviously he’s never been a full time babysitter. Although it is fun playing with the new Christmas toys.

Rachel, Kristen and Stassi arrive at the Palm Springs house. Kristen says it belongs to Rachel’s parents, and since they’re away, the girls are going to act like teenagers whose parents are gone. How this is different from the way any of them normally act, I’m not sure. Stassi says she used to be the one who decided who was going on a trip or not, and now she’s the one people stay home to avoid. I know someone like that IRL and I’m surprised Stassi actually gets it.

No surprise, they start drinking immediately. Palm trees, old people and unbearable desert heat is how Stassi describes it. James texts Kristen and the other two tell her to block him. Stassi says Kristen has gone beyond bad boys and on to losers.

Lala asks James what’s up with the date he brought to the beach. Since she popped in from nowhere, it was obvious it was to make Kristen jealous.James says he didn’t want to be the only one showing up alone. Lala suggests he invite Kristen to dinner and actually talk to her instead of acting like he’s 12. Good luck with that.

Tom says he has a lot on his plate. Jax suggests he’s separating himself from everyone. Tom says he’s been a good friend and it seems like Jax is talking a lot of smack about him. Tom says Jax exaggerates things, and wants to make Tom look bad, because he gets jealous when his friends get ahead and he’s out of the limelight. Jax thinks Ariana is causing Tom to be more negative. Tom tells him that he’s low man on the friend totem pole at this point.

Kristen rehashes the beach. Stassi says it seems like every week that she’s missing big events in Katie’s life. She says, miss enough of them, and you realize you’re no longer a friend. Well, yeah, you didn’t want to be her friend. That’s how this started, remember?

Katie and Scheana ring the bell. Katie says it’s Stassi’s chance to admit everything she’s done wrong and if she doesn’t, it’s a problem. Everyone is shocked to see them and I laugh at the expression on Stassi’s face. She looks constipated and pained.

Katie says they were invited, but she’s here to talk to “this one,” meaning Stassi. Stassi starts crying immediately, since she knows she’s doomed, and Katie says let’s talk in the other room. Scheana says they’ve booked a hotel room just in case.

Katie says she did nothing to warrant what Stassi did. Stassi says Katie going to Scheana’s party when she thought Scheana was involved with the sex tape debacle was hurtful. Katie says everything isn’t always about Stassi and that she‘d put her life on hold for her, and that’s not how friendship works. Stassi says she gets that now and realizes how many selfish decisions she made.

Katie says friends aren’t disposable. She says she was an amazing friend and it was shameful that Stassi could never admit when she was wrong and ultimately dumped her as a friend. Stassi says when she felt hurt, she would cut people off rather than let them hurt her again. Katie tells her it’s too little too late. Stassi starts crying again and Katie says she doesn’t have time to go through something like that again and she’d be a fool if she did.

Jax and Tom are bartending. Schwartz comes in for a beer and Lisa asks what’s up. He tells her about the Katie/Ariana disagreement and the texts that resulted. Lisa says sometimes you just have to listen. She thinks Katie gets frustrated because she feels Schwartz isn’t on her side. She says with Ken, even when she’s wrong, she’s right with him. She tells Schwartz, better to be wrong and happy than right and sleeping on the couch. I think this is a problem in general that most guys don’t grasp and Lisa is lucky that Ken gets it.

Jax is worried that everyone will become friends with Stassi again and ditch him. Because everything is always about him. He says he’d like to be a fly on the wall in Palm Springs. I’d like him to be a fly on the wall so I can swat him.

Stassi says she missed out on a lot and she knows what a good friend Katie was. She says she’s sorry for everything. Katie thanks her for apologizing. She says she’s waited a long time for it. In her individual interview, she says she doesn’t think she’s ever heard Stassi admit she’s wrong about anything, and that taking responsibility goes a long way with her. Me too. She tells Stassi she’s welcome to the engagement party. They hug. Hopefully, Stassi is being truthful and Katie isn’t getting sucked into anything. Although I don’t think she’d let that happen again.

Katie and Stassi rejoin the group. Scheana says whatever Katie wants to do is cool, although the room is paid for. Stassi says she ordered some male strippers. Kristen is all happy because it’s like the old days. Scheana calls the hotel to tell them they’re not coming.

First thing in the morning, Kristen asks if Scheana would like a cocktail. She says no until Kristen starts talking about Ariana and what she said about Rachel. Scheana says that Ariana knows what she and Shay have been going through, but acts like a bitch to her and not Shay.

Ariana tells Lala that guys who want to look at your boobs are the lousiest tippers. Interesting. She tells Lisa that she’s glad to be working this weekend and have a break from the other girls. She doesn’t want a complicated dynamic, but Lisa says sometimes you have to deal with that when you have friends.

Scheana tells Katie that she feels badly because Katie doesn’t look at her like a best friend anymore. Lisa says that she saw the strength of Arina and Scheana’s friendship and that it’s a shame to let it go. She suggests maybe Ariana needs to put more effort into her friendships, and she should talk to Scheana. Ariana says Scheana is like a different person.

Katie compares what’s going on with Scheana and Ariana to her and Stassi. She talks about her texts to Schwartz. She says the weekend has been all about forgiveness, but she’s not sure where she stands with him right now.

What it looks like to me is that this group just doesn’t get that sometimes dynamics change among friends, especially when one of them has things to do other than drink and hang out. Again I wonder if this is a west coast thing. I left home at 18 and don’t remember any of my friends acting this ridiculous when I was younger. Although maybe that’s because we all actually had lives.

Katie says it seems surreal, since she didn’t think she and Stassi would be friends again. Stassi thanks her for her forgiveness. She also says she’s aware things take time and doesn’t want to overstep her bounds. Katie says she does still have reservations and she’s going to be cautious. She wants them both to be real and get to know each other again. Stassi says Katie can ask her anything.

Kristen says she’s as desperate as Stassi and she’d like to delete the past two years and have everyone be friends again. Stassi says the weekend was pretty intense.

James meets his mom, Jacquie, at a restaurant. He tells her about being fired from PUMP and how he went into work drunk. He says he realizes he let both her and Lisa down. He says Kristen came in and things escalated. Jacquie asks if Kristen hadn’t been there, would James have gotten fired? James says yes, it would have happened eventually and that it wasn’t Kristen’s fault. Jacquie says she never sees Kristen without a drink in her hand, and James says she’s a fine one to talk. Jacquie is like, hold on there, don’t be comparing your mother to Kristen. In his individual interview, James says that his mom and Kristen are very much alike.

He tells Jacquie about inviting Kristen to dinner. He says he has a plan to quit alcohol, get ripped in a different way at the gym, get his job back and be a success. A sure fire way to go back to drinking. Over-extend yourself.

Katie comes home. Schwartz asks if he smells Stassi. Ha-ha! Katie tells him about Stassi crying and says she also had time to think about her texts to him. He asks if he can still pawn the ring. Schwartz is a real comedian tonight. Schwartz wonders if there isn’t a nugget of truth though, and maybe she has some doubts. Katie wants him to have her back. She says she felt unheard and misunderstood. She says she felt that he was taking someone else’s side. He says he does’t look at it that way, but he gets that if she feels hurt, he needs to be supportive.

Next week sounds like a doozie. James tells Kristen she broke his heart; Tom films his video; Jax isn’t ready for marriage, but Brittany is; Katie wants the engagement party at SUR, but Lisa doesn’t want Stassi there; and Jax’s possible jail sentence still hangs over his head. Whew!
