What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Chase tells Laura that Doc is safe. They’re transporting him from Ferncliff right now. Laura doesn’t understand why she has to be there; she’s perfectly fine. Finn explains about the virus to her, and says once the virus is neutralized, it’s a simple procedure to restore Doc’s vision. She wants to see the commissioner, but Chase says, she was hit by a car and has internal injuries. She’s in ICU. Finn says, her condition is serious, and they’re doing everything they can.

Jordan stirs, and Curtis asks if she can hear him. She says she has to tell him something. He says she was in an accident, and she’s in the hospital. He’s grateful she’s awake. He tells her, rest. She says there was a set up for the killer, but he says they already know and know who it is. Ryan Chamberlain. All along it’s been Ryan Chamberlain.

Ava tells Ryan it’s more rustic than she expected, but he says there are amenities, and a charming footbridge where they can over to Canada. He wants to leave their options open. He’s arranged for them to be married at a charming (WOTD), picturesque chapel. After that, it’s five star all the way. He tells her explore the room; he’ll get the luggage and meet her inside.

Ryan opens the trunk, and takes out the suitcases. He tells Carly, isn’t that better? She can almost stretch out.

Jason goes to the reception desk at the hospital. He tells the nurse he found Carly’s phone in the garage, and asks if she was admitted, but she says no one by that name was checked in.

Julian puts up the closed sign at Charlie’s. Kim shows up, and he asks if something is wrong. She asks why something has to be wrong to see him. Maybe she’s there because something is right.

Trina asks what Cameron thought of the movie. He wishes Mary Poppins was real, and his mom would hire her. Trina says he’s a little old for a nanny, but he says his brothers aren’t. He makes the observation that Mary Poppins really fixes broken families. Trina asks if he thinks his family is broken. He says he feels that way since Franco moved in.

Oscar tells Josslyn it takes forty guys to close the valves at the same time when the falls shut off at night. She’s like, what? and he laughs. He’s sorry; it’s too easy. She says she thought he was hallucinating, and hits him with a pillow. He says she’s so beautiful, and he loves her. They kiss. Oscar asks if she’s sure she’s not with him because she feels sorry for him. Josslyn says when she looks at him, she sees him. The cancer is a part of it, but just a small part. When she looks at him, she sees the incredible, smart, sensitive, seriously cute guy she fell in love. The guy who listened and understood, and accepted her from the first moment they talked at her party. The one where no one was supposed to be drinking. She didn’t know what it was like to fall in love. She imagined it, watching rom-coms, reading books, dreaming up scenarios. He thought she was too busy climbing mountains. She says he was wrong. She dreamt about it, but it’s nothing like the real thing. He’s sorry about the breakup, but she says, don’t be. Everything about loving him has been wonderful. They kiss

Jason calls Olivia, and asks if she’s seen Carly. He tells her to let him know when she shows up. He has her phone. How can Jason possibly be this dense?

Doc is wheeled in, and Laura runs to him. He says it’s good to hear Finn’s voice. Chase leaves with the officer who brought Doc in, to get a full account of Ferncliff, and what Do said in the car. Finn needs to check on Jordan, since he’s the only doctor in the hospital today. Doc asks if Ryan hurt her, but Laura says it was a car accident. He asks if Ryan has been caught, and she tells him, no; he’s still out there. Jason sees Doc, and asks if his blindness returned. He thought there would be no reoccurrence. Laura says he wasn’t treated; it was actually Ryan. Doc says his brother has been impersonating him for months, while he was locked in Ferncliff. Laura says she’s going check Jordan. Jason wants to ask Doc some questions, and he says they can talk while the nurse preps the IV. Jason says the patient in the room next to Carly was his brother, wasn’t it? Maybe they should just periodically shake down Ferncliff for people who aren’t supposed to be there.

Jordan struggles to sit up, saying she has to get back to work. The killer is out there. Anna says she has a team on it. Curtis says, first things first. Tell him what she remembers. She says it’s not that clear, and he asks what the last thing is she remembers. She says she was on her way back into the hospital. She was leaving a voicemail, and a car came right at her. She says, Franco. She has to tell Chase that he needs protection; he’s cooperating with the investigation. Curtis says, they know. Franco is in ICU. She asks if something happened, and he says her plan worked. She says, Ryan Chamberlain is dead, but Curtis says, not so much. Apparently he’s been impersonating Doc months. He tried to kill Franco, but Franco managed to get away. She asks how badly he’s hurt, and Curtis tells her, don’t worry; just rest, and he’ll be back. In the hallway, he tells Finn to give it to him straight. Finn says she’s much better. Her blood pressure is stabilized, and there’s no sign of infection. The remaining kidney isn’t processing the fluids they’re giving her, and while they’re waiting on a transplant, they should start dialysis. Does Curtis want to tell her?

Jordan tells Anna, the frame-up was too good, and with Franco’s history, she told him the only option was to cooperate. She heard the interview. It was chilling and compelling, and she’s not surprised the real killer showed himself. She thought Ryan died over twenty years ago. Anna says the body was never found. Jordan says he made himself indispensable to the investigation. She should have known. Anna asks, how would she? They all thought he was dead.

Ryan comes back in to Ava naked in bed. She says since the suitcases were in the car, she had nothing to wear. She hopes he doesn’t mind starting the honeymoon tonight. He says they could travel the world, and he would see nothing as breathtaking as her right now.

Julian asks if everything is okay, and Kim says everything in her world is going well. She watched her beautiful boy take on another day. Sometimes the simplest act of bravery is putting on foot in front of the next. From now on, she’s going to enjoy every moment of every day. She says this is where he comes in and asks how he can help. She has some suggestions. He likes where this is going, and she pulls down the shades.

Trina and Cameron play cards. He says he used to play with his mom and brothers. They had game night with no phones. He remembers going easy on Aiden, who somehow beat him for real. He doesn’t remember the last time they did it. Trina asks why they stopped. He says, Franco, and she asks if he’s not a card player. Cameron says, don’t know, don’t care. He didn’t want be around Franco, pretending that he’s a good guy. It was bad enough his mom fell for it, but seeing his brothers believe in him, he couldn’t be a part of it, so he wasn’t around for the pseudo family togetherness. He wishes he’d gotten through to his mom before they got married. Trina says Franco pled guilty, and his mom still thinks he’s innocent. There’s nothing he could say or do to change her mind. She’s going to ride this train to the end. He asks what he should do, and she tells him, be there for his brothers; they need him. Hopefully, when Franco is in prison, his mom will let it go. Cameron says, it’s not bad advice, and Trina says she’s actually very insightful.

Ryan tells Ava, gazing into her eyes and holding her is what he appreciates the most. Holding her, he feels invincible. She never felt so needed and at home before. It’s a gift. Everything about him is a gift to her. He believes they came to each other to heal each other’s wounds, and they have the rest of their lives to do it. That’s all she needs to know.

Jason tells Doc that he heard the patient next to Carly screaming, but Doc stopped him as he was about to look. Doc says he did it to protect Carly, but Jason doesn’t buy it. He thinks Doc just didn’t want him to see that it was his brother. Doc says he’s exhausted, and it’s too complicated to explain. Jason says the patient was listed as Wilson, and Carly thought there was a connection, but Doc blew her off. Doc says if anyone talked to him in the last five months, they were talking to Ryan. He asks where Carly is, but Jason doesn’t know.

Ava puts on Ryan’s shirt. He likes her in it, and says she’s glowing. She says it’s the locale and the company, and being away from Port Charles and all of those people. Ryan says they don’t have to go back. Why let the toxic naysayers pollute their relationship? She says she’s not giving up Avery. He understands, saying he just got caught up in the moment and her beauty. She goes to take a shower.

While Ava is showering, Ryan takes an envelope out of his bag. Inside is a passport. a wad of cash, and tickets to Singapore. He says, the springboard to the rest of their lives. He’s sorry about the kids, but he’ll make sure this makes up for the one Ava lost and the one she left behind.

Julian tells Kim that he’s buying a lottery ticket. He doesn’t remember when the Jeromes had such luck. Kim says he’s the only Jerome getting lucky tonight. Julian tells her about Ava stopping by, and how she was going to Niagara Falls and eloping tonight. He was worried, but she insisted it was fine. If there’s one thing he’s learned, it’s not to get between Ava and what she wants. Kim says Ava deserves happiness after what she’s gone through. Julian isn’t sure he can get used to her with Doc. Kim kisses him, and he says they should take it to his room. She pushes him against the bar, and says, no. They get busy.

Laura sees Jordan, and asks how she is. Jordan says every time she took Doc’s advice, she thought it was based on his experiences with his brother. She never imagined he was the killer. She says she’ll give her resignation, but Laura tells her, don’t be silly. No one knew he was still alive. She was living with him and never suspected. He never would have been flushed out if hadn’t been for Jordan; it was her plan. Jordan says that’s what Anna told her. Laura says, no more talk about resigning. She needs to focus on her recovery. Laura needs her in tip top shape. Chase comes in, and says, good to see you, boss. He needs to talk to Laura, and they go into the hallway. Anna tells Jordan that her team needs its top cop back. She tells Jordan that she’ll be fine, and she loves her. She’ll check in later.

Finn tells Curtis that Jordan as a good chance with the transplant. In the meantime, dialysis patients lead normal lives. Curtis says, or some semblance of it. He says, she’s strong; she can handle it, and Finn agrees, she can. He says, it’s good to lead with that, and Curtis goes back to Jordan’s room.

Chase asks if Laura can think of where Ryan might be. She tells him, find Ava, and he’ll find Ryan. Chase says he’ll try to locate Ava, and she tells him, be careful. Ryan is so infatuated with Ava, she thinks he’ll stop at nothing to be with her.

Josslyn can’t believe Oscar’s story about not eating. Oscar says, those days are gone. He needs to hydrate, since he doesn’t want to feel nauseous. Josslyn goes to get water. When she’s gone, a headache comes on, and Oscar slides off the bed to the floor. Josslyn comes back, and tells him, breathe. She yells for help, and I wish she’d quit shaking him. I don’t think that’s helping. Cameron and Trina run in, and Josslyn tells them that Oscar is having a seizure. Cameron gets on the phone, and calls an ambulance, explaining about Oscar’s brain tumor. He gives them the address, and tells Josslyn, they’re coming. Josslyn tells Oscar to stay with her. She wonders, what does she do? Wow. She made it sound like she could handle this kind of thing if it happened, and you’d think she might have educated herself a bit. I know she’s a teenager, but she’s no dummy, and she’s been through this scenario before. Underground with no one for miles.

Laura asks the nurse at the desk if Jason is still there. She says he was there a few minutes ago

Anna tells Doc that he was an unwilling participant. Cabot laid the groundwork, and Andre did the memory transfer. Finn says the virus became active in a select period of time; the symptoms manifesting regardless of when the serum was taken. Doc says that explains why he and Ryan went blind around the same time. Finn says the procedure is quick, and relatively simple. Doc can’t wait. He was afraid he’d never see Laura’s face again. He thought he was going to die. Anna tells him, rest, and Doc says it’s important they catch Ryan before he claims another victim.

Jordan gives Chase instructions on what she wants done. She wants Margaux to know that Franco will be changing his plea. Curtis tells her, that’s enough for now. Chase says, he – the whole force – is glad she’s back. Curtis asks if Jordan wants medication, but she needs a clear head. She can’t conduct a manhunt from bed. He says, no can do. They have to talk about what comes next.

Ava lays out a white dress. She wonders where her shoes are, and thinks they got left in the car. She gets the keys from Ryan’s bag, and goes out.

The ambulance comes. The EMT says Josslyn will have to follow and meet them there. Josslyn tells Cameron this is worse than when they were in the catacombs. Oscar isn’t waking up

Curtis tells Jordan the accident was serious. He’s glad she made it out alive, but she needed surgery. She asks, what is it? and he says she broke two ribs, and they lacerated her left kidney. It was a grade four injury. She’s guessing that’s bad. He explains the kidneys regulate blood pressure, and hers spiked, so they removed it. She nods, and says, okay. She can still live a full, healthy life with one kidney. Curtis says the other was also damaged; not quite as bad, but she’ll need dialysis, and eventually a transplant. She says she’s not going to the station after all. He knows it’s a lot, but he’s glad she’s alive. Deep in his heart, he knows she’ll be okay. She asks if TJ and Stella know, and he says they’ve been a great tag team, helping him understand medicalese. They both said she’s strong, and can manage until the transplant. Jordan says she’ll have to keep up with the rules she’ll need to follow. Meanwhile, a killer is on the loose, and it’s his job to find him.

Jason goes to Charlie’s, and asks Julian where Ava is. Julian tells him to have Sonny call or text her. Jason says Carly is in trouble, and Ava might be the only one able to help. Julian wonders why Ava would help Carly. Jason says if he has to track Ava some other way, and Carly gets hurt in the meantime, he’s holding Julian responsible.

Ryan comes out of the bathroom, saying the shower gave him an appetite. He sees Ava is gone. Outside, Ava can’t find her shoes, and says they’ve got to be there somewhere. She looks at the trunk.

Finn tells Anna that he doesn’t envy Curtis having to tell the woman he loves that she’s in for the fight of her life. Jordan has a million questions and concerns. Curtis says it’s a lot to process, but they have a lot of time to think about options. She says she’s just a little freaked out. She’s been healthy, and took it for granted. Curtis says her good health was an asset, and she’s glad she was diligent about working out. Curtis is too, for a number of reasons. She asks if he’s flirting with her, and he says, of course. He loves her very much. They kiss.

Chase finds Doc looking for Laura. He thought she was with the commissioner, but was pulled away for questioning.

Julian tells Jason that he’ll deal with the consequences. Kim says Ava and Doc were eloping, and headed for Niagara Falls. Jason flies out the door, and runs into Laura. He tells her about Ava, and says he has to find them. She says she’s going with him, but he says he has to do this alone. She says she’s known him a long time, and asks what would Sonny say. He says Sonny would tell him to take hr. Let’s go.

Julian leaves a message for Ava, saying if Jason shows up, it’s not to say congratulations. Kim’s phone rings. It’s Josslyn, who says she’s sorry to call, but Oscar had a seizure. Kim asks where they are, and Josslyn tells her, Niagara Falls. Oscar was taken to the Niagara Medical Center. Kim says she’s on her way. She tells Julian that her boy is in trouble.

Cameron almost smacks right into Ryan outside.

Ava says her shoes better be in the trunk, and opens it.

Next time, Sonny asks what else someone sees, Kim tells Drew about Oscar, Ava wonders what happened, and Ryan can’t let Cameron go – not yet.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

We start off with everyone’s take on Doggate. Dorit is now saying that Lucy bit the children several times. She thought she gave the dog to someone who loved her, and it blew up in her face. To top it off, people are talking.

Teddi says last night was a sh*t show. She doesn’t understand why LVP tried to manipulate her. She’s not the most easy-going, but not out to sabotage anyone. Honey, you are a grown woman. Nobody made you say anything. That was all you.

LVP doesn’t know why she’s getting the blame. She went out of her way not talk publicly, now Dorit is siding with everyone else. Dorit insists it’s not about the dog, but her. LVP says her priority has always been the dog. She has no idea how sort out this whole bloody mess.

Still in the Bahamas, Dorit books a snorkeling trip for some of the ladies, Erika invites Teddi to play golf, and Kyle calls LVP to go shopping. LisaR, Camille, and Denise go with Dorit. They stop first for fancy drinks that are mixed using a bike.

Erika tells Teddi that she started taking golf lessons, and out drove Tom. It was the first and last time they played together. In her interview, Teddi says with all the bullsh*t going on, she’s glad she and Erika put aside their differences. She’s excited for the opportunity to golf, especially since it’s not in a group setting with all the opinions flying. Erika is good. I suck a golf. Teddi is sure her three-year-old is better than she is. All she knows about golf is the Tiger Woods cheating scandal. Erika tries helping her, but Teddi might be right about her kid being better.

Dorit’s group goes snorkeling. On the boat Dorit whines that she feels like she’s been rolled over. Denise is confused; she doesn’t know the whole story. She also does rescue, and says not every dog is suited to everybody. Dorit says she adopted a previous dog, but it bit her kids, and she took it back. Alrighty then. I get what this brainless twit did. It’s possible the kids might be too rough, but regardless, she did do it right the first time by returning the dog to LVP. I would bet the farm, the reason she didn’t do that the second time was because she was afraid LVP would think she’s a serial returner. She tried to be slick, and it backfired. She did speak to LVP the day after she sent Lucy to another home. Camille thinks that’s the issue, and Dorit should have called LVP before giving the dog away. In Camille’s interview, she doesn’t understand why Dorit waited, but thinks it could be because it was the second dog. Thank you Voice-of-Reason Camille. Dorit insists, it’s not about that. She and LVP talk all time. Camille says, that’s what makes it worse. Dorit keeps saying, that’s not it, but in her interview, Camille thinks she was shady. LisaR says something stupid about LVP creating the situation. What is wrong with these women? Don’t answer that. The list is too long.

LVP wants retail therapy, saying, it’s the best option. Kyle says she was already looking at watches. LVP picks up a huge tote bag, and says they can put their anxiety in it, but Kyle says, it’s not big enough. LVP says she didn’t sleep well, but they’ll talk after she focuses on something happy – i.e. shopping.  Kyle doesn’t think anyone ate; they were so upset. LVP says they’ll talk in a minute. They check out the jewelry. Kyle asks if LVP has talked to Dorit, and she says she did this morning. Kyle asks how it was, and LVP says, fine. IN her interview, Kyle thinks LVP is stubborn, but not talking won’t help. Kyle doesn’t buy anything, saying she has her eyes on bigger things, like a Rolex.

Erika asks how Teddi feels. Teddi didn’t like the shift at dinner. It made her look vindictive, and she wonders why LVP can’t be up front. In Teddi’s interview, she says you don’t warn someone that somebody else knows something about them. Why not? Erika says, it looks like a well-orchestrated plan to turn two women against each other. Teddi asks if she thinks it’s a lie, that LVP’s staff told her damaging information. She didn’t tell anyone. We see a clip of her telling Kyle. Teddi says she knows the employees were told to tell her by LVP. In Erika’s interview, she says LVP made a critical error in judgement. She thought Teddi would do what she wanted. Teddi tells Erika that she doesn’t want to pull out proof, but Erika says she might have to. Because we’re twelve.

The ladies go snorkeling, but in her interview, Denise says, not a fish, not a flower, no coral, nothing to look at. LisaR says, not even a snail or a turtle. Just sand. They get out of the water. Shouldn’t the captain have known what location was good?

LVP and Kyle have reserves a cabana in beautiful cover. LVP heard there are baby flamingos there. They have a butler, and order dinks and food. They drink some wine, and Kyle says it was weird how LisaR was chiming in. Because they’re close, Kyle can tell LVP what it looks like from the other side. Teddi thinks she was set up, and Dorit thinks that LVP was counting on Teddi bringing it up.

Teddi says it would be done if LVP just said she made a mistake. Erika says Teddi was fed bad information on purpose. Teddi says she’s going to be accused of not letting things go. Erika says she wouldn’t let it go.

LVP says John was out of order. We flash back to John asking Kyle if she recognizes Lucy. LVP says he shouldn’t have talked about it. We see a clip of a phone conversation between LVP and John, where he says he’s not her employee; he’s her partner, and she doesn’t control what says. LVP tells Kyle that John has his own agenda. Kyle thinks he’s upset with Dorit.

Denise asks what LVP would have to gain by setting Dorit up. LisaR gets on the protect-your-children-at-all-costs bandwagon, saying Dorit did the right thing. Protect your children, and tell everyone else eff off. She’s such an ass. Dorit could have confined the dog, and called LVP. It’s that simple. Dorit seems like the one who had an agenda. To keep her stupidity a secret.

Here come the baby flamingos! Just wandering into the cabana. They are the cutest, fuzziest little things, and I desperately want to hold one. LVP asks if their keeper feels like a parent because she raised them. In her interview, LVP says she’d like to hang out with the flamingoes, rather than those other silly old birds.

Everyone makes phone calls home, and then gets ready for dinner. LVP calls Teddi, and asks if she can talk for a second. Teddi comes to LVP’s room, and immediately asks if she’s getting an apology. LVP would like an explanation; she doesn’t understand. Teddi says LVP is smart, and that’s what makes it a bummer. She says from the get-go, she was told that LVP wanted her to know about the dog. There were direct instructions to tell her. LVP insists that’s not the case. In her interview, Teddi says it’s a boldface lie. She asks if LVP didn’t text Dorit about her knowing, and LVP says she did. She knew their history was tenuous. If she hadn’t told Dorit, and Teddi brought it up, there would have been another problem. She wanted to clear it up before it started. Teddi wants her to apologize for putting her in this situation. LVP says she’s sorry Teddi is in the situation, but she didn’t tell her employees to get involved. She wanted to shut it down, and stands by that. She asks if Teddi wants her to call John. Teddi says she thinks LVP is creating sh*t because she got busted. She needs to get her story straight. Teddi says she’s not doing this, and blows out, running into Dorit on her way. She tells Dorit, it’s not fair. She tells LVP that she’s smarter than she’s leading them to believe, and she’s not being LVP’s pawn. In her interview, Dorit says LVP has been her friend, and they have a history, but the person she has a precarious history with is defending her. What is she supposed to do? I dunno. Take your head out of your ass and quit trying to cover it?

Kyle calls Mauricio. She’s sent him pictures of the Rolexes she’s interested in. She didn’t want to buy anything that expensive without discussing it first. In her interview, she says after the robbery, she knew she couldn’t replace everything, but little by little, she wants to add to her collection. She tells Mauricio that it’s tax free. He’s good with her buying it. BTW, it’s over $10K. Teddi knocks on Kyle’s door. Both Kyle and I note, that face. Teddi asks how clear Kyle was when she spoke with LVP, and Kyle says, very clear. Teddi doesn’t know how LVP could possibly be confused. She came for an apology, but didn’t get one. Instead, she’s irritated. She asks if she’s supposed to just sit at dinner and smile now. Kyle says, yep.

LVP tells Dorit it’s bullsh*t that she told her employee to talk to Teddi. It looks like John is making things up. Dorit basically ignores this, and says she doesn’t want to be late for dinner.

The ladies cross a footbridge to get to a gorgeous table by the water. Everyone is having trouble navigating it in heels. Camille says she’s going to have good time. She’s having bread tonight. Kyle asks what everyone did today, and LisaR says they didn’t see any fish, but had fun. Dorit and LVP show up last, and Dorit apologizes for being late. In Erika’s interview, she says she doesn’t know what happened before dinner, but it doesn’t look good. Kyle tells everyone about the shopping and says she has something being delivered. LVP is giving the side eye all over the place, and no one even talks to her except Dorit. In her interview, LVP says they didn’t even acknowledge her. She feels about as welcome as a turd in a swimming pool. LisaR (who I just typo-ed as liar – ha-ha!) tells Denise the food doesn’t fit with their white trash palates. In Denise’s interview, she says she likes toasted cheese and burgers. Fancy food is pretty for an Instagram photo, but she prefers the kids menu. LVP tells Camille that she wants to get to the bottom of it, and in her interview, says she and Kyle are leaving early. Kyle is getting Sofia off to school, and she has a scheduled event.

LisaR toasts to Dorit, saying it was a lovely time blah-blah-blah. Dorit is glad everyone is there, even though there were some unpleasant moments. Camille hopes they work it out. It gets really quiet, and Kyle asks how Teddi’s day was. Teddi says she had a good beginning to the day. She wishes she felt better about things, but she doesn’t, and she’s not going to sugarcoat it and make small talk, because she’s not effing fake. Dorit knows exactly how she’s feeling, and believes everything Teddi said. Teddi thanks her, but says, it feels yucky. Oh please. In her interview, LVP says, Dorit stands for nothing. She should have loyalty for the friend who’s had her back for two years. With friends like these… you know the rest. LisaR gets all dramatic, asking, why is this happening to Teddi Mellencamp? Why? LVP gets up, and says, it’s fine, but has to get up at four. She’ll discuss it individually, but she’s not doing it there. Dorit begs her not to leave, and in her interview, says it reminds her of when LVP left the dinner with her and Kyle last year. We flash back to that. LVP tells Kyle that she doesn’t want to hash it out now. In Dorit’s interview, she wants to say she believes LVP, but needs to be true to herself, and needs to process everything. For Dorit to process anything could take our entire lives. I don’t blame LVP for leaving. This was yucky all right, but not in the way Teddi would like us to believe.

Kyle follows LVP. LVP says she wasn’t even there five minutes, and they’re all acting like she’s a bitch. At the table, LisaR says Teddi shouldn’t have been put in this position. She has empathy, since she’s been where Teddi is. Teddi says she’s never once told a lie, and they’ll never hear her tell one. Just a little self-righteous – and unbelievable. LVP tells Kyle she doesn’t understand. Something is wrong, and she wants to figure it out. Denise wants clarity, and asks if they think LVP set it up, and isn’t admitting to it. Teddi says she has proof, and shows them a text from John. Kyle comes back, and LisaR jumps her, asking if it isn’t the case that LVP doesn’t always tell the truth. Kyle says she’s closest with her, and LisaR asks if LVP has ever lied to her. Kyle says knows who LVP is. She’s not saying it’s okay, but it part of who she is. LisaR demands an answer as to why LVP did this, and Kyle says she doesn’t have one. She’s not responsible for LVP’s actions. She knows this about her, but loves her; LVP is her friend, and everyone has both a good side and a bad side. LisaR asks when do they say enough is enough? The only sane one (well, Denise seems sane, but she’s not really in the mix yet), Camille, says she doesn’t know what happened, but there are people she’s wanted apologies from for years, and sometimes it never happens. In her interview, Camille says every woman there has done something to hurt someone else. We flash back to Kyle putting Camille down, and Dorit calling her the c-word. She says, friendship is about moving on, and life is too short to hold grudges. Teddi whines, who wants to live like this? Good God, Camille isn’t asking you to marry LVP, just be nice at dinner. Erika says Teddi doesn’t want to pretend to be nice to someone who screwed her over. Erika says she’ll give Denise $1000 to knock on LVP’s door, and asks her about it. In Denise’s interview, she says her Spidey sense tells her not to get on LVP’s bad side, and she doesn’t need the money. Ha-ha! Smart chick. In her interview, Erika says Denise was married to Charlie Sheen and she’s afraid of LVP? I actually think Denise isn’t afraid of anyone, and was just being funny in her interview, but who is Erika to dictate anything? Does she even know who Denise is, offering her a pittance? Erika says had fun anyway. Kyle’s Rolex arrives, and she puts it on. She asks for Rolexes on the rocks.

LVP tries to call Ken, but the call keeps dropping. She finally finds out he’s not home

At 4 am, LVP and Kyle are in a limo to the airport. Kyle says she had some fun after dinner, and we see clips of them making fools of themselves at a club. In her interview, she says they were perhaps a little overserved. We see a clip of Kyle and Teddi rolling around on the floor, and Kyle says she’s made better choices in life. She tells LVP that she was having shots two hours ago. LVP didn’t sleep much, and starts talking about what a-holes these girls are. In Kyle’s interview, she says she slept for two hours. She can’t listen about Lucy right now.

Dorit has the ladies to her suite for breakfast. In her interview, Denise says, they even dress up for breakfast. They’re lucky she put an effing bra on. I die laughing because that sounds exactly like something I would say. So far, I love Denise, but I also loved the reality show she had for like, five minutes, with all the animals and her cute, single dad. I was disappointed when it wasn’t renewed. LisaR says they had little bit of a late night, and this old broad doesn’t recover like she used to. She says she enjoyed night, but woke up feeling doom. Omg, does she ever not dramatize something? In her interview, Dorit says her friendship with LVP extends beyond the two of them, involving PK and other people. She hopes they work things out, and she can rebuild her trust in LVP. She tells the ladies that she wants ownership and an apology, but that’s not where this is going. It’s time to pack.

Ooh, seeing an aerial shot of Lisa’s home, it looks like a Polly Pocket village. Harrison! LVP tells Ken she didn’t have a good time, even though that’s what she went for. She felt left out. She needed a break, and the women kept hammering at her. She tears up, saying Ken doesn’t know what it’s like. He tells her that he got John to print out all the texts between him and Teddi. Teddi asked him to have the dog there when she went to Vanderpump Dogs, and she would say it looks like Dorit’s dog. WTF? We flash back to John asking if Kyle and Teddi recognize the dog. Her text says, either way, it will come out. LVP can’t effing believe it. She wonders how Teddi could have set her up, when she’s emotional anyway, and encourage her friends to turn against her, when she sent a text telling John to have the dog there. What does that say about her character. Ken thinks Dorit will go crazy when she sees this. Nah, she’ll just sit on the fence like always.

Next time, Sofia goes to college, denies says she’s getting married, and Erika tells Teddi not to back down.

The Real Housewives of New York City

We flash back to six months ago, and LuAnn being excited for the future. We see a headline saying Luann’s children are suing her, and another that she’s back in rehab. We flash back to Andy asking Bethenny if there was an intervention. She says, there were a few people there. We see a headline saying Dennis has been found dead. The producer asks if Bethenny can talk about Dennis, but she can’t say anything.

Tinsley has a car delivered from Chicago in a massive truck. Sonja walks her pup in the park. LuAnn talks to Victoria, saying she added Girl Code to her show, and asks if Victoria would sing it with her. Bethenny does a photo shoot for Skinny Girl jeans. She cries in the bathroom, but doesn’t want to. Ramona says she renovated her apartment to sell it, but likes it now. Dorinda meets friend Luke in the park.

Dorinda wants a real walk. Luke says she looks good. She says if Carole can do it, she can. She’s decided to spend time doing her, and has been exercising and being healthy. She says, nothing good happens after a couple of drinks. She doesn’t handle alcohol well, and we see some clips, including the clip! clip. Luke tells her people have said she gets nasty, but Dorinda says it was only LuAnn who said that, and she was deflecting. I believe it if you believe it. Luke says LuAnn isn’t one to talk. Dorinda says in a year and a half, LuAnn has made a lot of erratic decisions. She was married, divorced, arrested, assaulted an officer… Luke says, some people don’t even do that in a lifetime. Dorinda says, she went to rehab, came out, was still drinking the whole time, and went back into rehab. She wishes LuAnn well, but it’s not healthy for them to be around each other. In her interview, Dorinda says, at this moment, they’re in a place where they need a minute.

Bethenny’s friends Jimmy and Gina come for lunch. In her interview, Bethenny says Dennis passed away three weeks ago. His daughter called her crying hysterically, and she started screaming. She tells them about the letter she wrote to Dennis, and how Brynn added underneath that she misses him. Bethenny starts crying. In her interview, she says she’s never felt like this in her life. Nothing matters though. He’s gone; there’s nothing to say. Jimmy says he had two friends die last year. You have good days and bad days, but he doesn’t think they’d want him to be sad. In Bethenny’s interview, she says, time is healing the wounds, but then she feels guilty. She’s trying to do what he would want. The bottom line is to enjoy life, and live every day like it was the last. She jokes that they should take their tops off and have an orgy.

There’s no food at Sonja’s new apartment, and no closet space. Ramona arrives, and tells Sonja that she has two dates tonight. In her interview, Sonja says she feels lighter not living day to day at the townhouse. She loves the simplicity, and is in the park every morning, developing a deep connection with her poodle. Sonja tells Ramona that her daughter wants pink walls, and a black lacquer door. Ramona says the color scheme gives her a headache. She tells Sonja that her apartment is going on market. She needs something new and fresh. She asks if Sonja is going to the Hamptons next weekend, and Sonja says she’s riding out with Tinsley. She doesn’t want Bethenny to be alone, but she’s there if Bethenny needs her. Ramona says, you think you’ll live forever, but time is limited. In Ramona’s interview, she feels badly. Bethenny doesn’t have that many close friends, and relied on him. Sonja says the dog wants to go out three or four times every day; he has friends in the park. Ramona suggests it as a way to meet men, but Sonja says she wants to meet someone through friends of hers, not the dog’s friends.

LuAnn is in Sag Harbor. Her friend Barbara drops by while LuAnn is changing her Vespa. LuAnn suggests they go to town for lunch. In LuAnn’s interview, she says she and Barbara met when their sons went to summer camp together. LuAnn makes a flower arrangement for Barbara, and has an espresso maker for her. She says she’s grateful for Barbara. The things going on with the kids were overwhelming. She’s glad she went back to rehab. She needed a change, and fell in love with the house upstate, but couldn’t get a bank loan. She wanted to sell the house in the Hamptons, but her kids didn’t like that idea, and joined their father in putting a legal hold on it. It was upsetting, and she had a relapse. She says when the sh*t hit the fan, Barbara came to her rescue, along with Bethenny. In her interview, Barbara says she was there with Bethenny and Ann; LuAnn’s Charlie’s Angels team. She was a mess. Barbara watched the mistakes LuAnn made with Tom. We flash back to the party where Barbara said LuAnn would rather go ahead and get married, than admit defeat and call it off. She didn’t want LuAnn to make another mistake, and encouraged her to go back. LuAnn says she goes to meetings every day. She gets weepy about her kids, and Barbara hugs her, saying it’s great that they see her sober. LuAnn says she can’t slip again. Barbara says she won’t. In her interview, LuAnn says going back a second time, she wasn’t proud. She failed, and it’s not easy to live sober. She takes it day by day; it’s a struggle. They leave for lunch on the Vespa.

Tinsley is out shopping, and Dorinda joins her. Dorinda asks about Scott, and Tinsley says last year, they traveled a lot, but this summer they settled in Chicago. She got to play hostess at a party for his employees. In Tinsley’s interview, she says she’s an optimist. She thinks this time it’s a lot different, and better. They’ve talked about marriage and babies, and he knows what kind of ring she wants. They’re on the same page. Dorinda asks if Tinsley cooked, and Tinsley says she helped grocery shop. Dorinda confesses there were many nights she catered, but put the food in the oven like she made it herself. It’s all about presentation. What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him. Tinsley asks if Dorinda has talked to LuAnn, and Dorinda says, nope. In her interview, Tinsley doesn’t know all the facts, but two big egos aren’t working out. They talk about Bethenny. Dorinda says they’ve all been through things like this, and you need to let people do it at their own pace. Just be there if they need you. It’s a personal journey.

Sonja’s assistant, Taylor, makes toast for Sonja’s breakfast. She brings it to the bedroom, and Sonja says she wondered what was taking so long. There’s no explanation, but yeah, toast shouldn’t be that complicated. Sonja tells Taylor to make sure the shoes are being shipped out. In her interview, she says, Taylor is like a breath of fresh air. She has no window coverings, and says thy have to measure and paint before the blinds can be put up. In Sonja’s interview, she says it feels great in the new apartment, although she would have liked the blinds up already. She says her Netflix and Chill guy is coming, so she wants to put something up. They duct tape towels to the window. Sonja is worried they’ll fall while she’s having sex. She says at least they’re monogrammed; that’s classy.

Swimming instructor Boris arrives at Ramona’s. She’s not good swimmer, and tells him about the boat ride from hell. She says she’d die out on the ocean. They head outside. Ramona hopes she can concentrate on swimming, since he’s cute. Mmm… meh. He starts with the breaststroke, which is all she can do. She practices while keeping pool noodles under her, and makes suggestive remarks.

Tinsley and Sonja head out. They’re going in style in a Bentley. Tinsley hopes she can drive it. She hasn’t driven in five years, but she was a good driver before; she should be a good one now. Um.. maybe not. Sonja is nervous. She says she’s a good driver, but she’s a control freak. They’re finally on their way. Sonja likes to take the bus, but she’s letting Tinsley drive, since she’s excited, and it’s time well spent with her friend. Tinsley swears she knows how to drive, but isn’t sure if she’d pass a test. She has no idea how to get to the Hamptons. Sonja doesn’t want to die.

At her house in Bridgehampton, Bethenny sets out food. Assistant Meg says she hasn’t had a luncheon in a while. She says she invited LuAnn over, but hasn’t seen her since the intervention weekend. LuAnn arrives, bearing a pie. Barbara doesn’t want to come in empty-handed. She goes to her car, and brings out a toolkit. She’s a DIY guru, and always has a spare of her tool line for when the going gets rough. LuAnn presents the chocolate mousse pie to Bethenny. In her interview, Bethenny says she’s known Barbara for years. LuAnn’s relationship to her is an enigma, but they both live in the Hamptons, and Hamptons people gravitate to each other. Someone sent Bethenny a picture of Dennis. She says she’s fine, but it threw her off. LuAnn says it’s her right to be fine or not be fine. Barbara says she finds it therapeutic to use a hammer and pound something. Bethenny makes a joke about Barbara liking a pounding.

Ramona sets out food. Dorinda arrives, and mentions how she always brings a fabulous candle. This time, she’s put it in a tote from LuAnn’s wedding. Ramona thinks it’s bad luck, and doesn’t want to touch it.

Luanna asks if Bethenny invited Sonja. Bethenny says she texted Sonja, and said she can stay there. LuAnn says Ramona always guilts her into staying.

Ramona tells Dorinda that LuAnn is in a bad place. She looks good superficially, but inside, she’s broken and trying to cover. She’s not acting rationally. Dorinda says part of healing is being humble, and Ramona says, never going to happen.

LuAnn tells Bethenny that Ramona is a liar. She made up a story about her at a party. Barbara was with her. Ramona claimed she was asked to leave, but she hadn’t wanted to stay; there were too many people drinking. Barbara confirms that they left after a short time. Bethenny asks why Ramona would make it up, and Barbara says, she loves spreading lies. She and LuAnn were dancing at a club once, and Ramona asked LuAnn, what’s she doing there? LuAnn told her Barbara was her friend, and that’s how she knows Ramona. Ramona runs into her, and acts like she doesn’t know her. In Barbara’s interview, she says she’s probably met Ramona fifteen times, but Ramona never has any recollection. She doesn’t think she’s forgettable, but apparently Ramona does. LuAnn says the real issue is, Dorinda is really angry with herself. Bethenny says Dorinda gripes that she was always there for LuAnn, and uses it as an excuse. In Bethenny’s interview, she says, the small things build up and become big things. LuAnn thinks Dorinda has hatred for herself. She’s not the Dorinda that LuAnn knows.

LuAnn says Dorinda isn’t reaching out. Barbara asks what LuAnn would say if she did. LuAnn thinks that’s pointless, since she hasn’t.

Dorinda tells Ramona that she hasn’t not seen to spoken to LuAnn since March. She gets teary, saying she was hurt by it. Ramona tells her not to cry. LuAnn isn’t in a good place; she can’t help it. In her interview, Ramona says, Dorinda has a heart of gold. She gets angry fast, but forgets fast.

Barbara says she’s known Dorinda forever. In her interview, LuAnn says Dorinda shows no sign of remorse for the way she behaved. She’s not seeing Dorinda unless she reaches out.

Dorinda doesn’t know what to do. In her interview, she accuses LuAnn of being on her high horse on another level.

LuAnn doesn’t know if she’s going to the clambake. Bethenny says if she’s feeling emotionally unsteady, she has to do what she needs to. LuAnn would rather not see Ramona either.

Dorinda tells Ramona that she and LuAnn need to give each other space. She feels like LuAnn thinks she should bend the knee to her. Where are we? Winterfell? In her interview, Dorinda says if LuAnn thinks she’s self-righteous or sanctimonious, it doesn’t help mend the relationship. Ramona says maybe LuAnn will come to her senses on her own. Dorinda says they need space.

Luann says she’s not apologizing to someone who hurt her. She hasn’t healed, and it’s unhealthy.

This season, a circus, pool floats, a naked chef, making out (with each other), Dorinda insists she didn’t heckle LuAnn, Tinsley isn’t leaving NYC without a ring, Halloween, Jill, Ramona is into hot sex and I don’t want to know, Bethenny feels guilty about Dennis, a trip to Miami, Sonja falls under the table, Christmas cabaret with the Countess, Bethenny tells the Countess life is not a cabaret, lots of yelling, Bethenny calls someone a sicko, Tinsley is miserable, and Bethenny toasts to being in a good place.

🍷 On The Real Housewives of New Jerseythe Reunion, Part Three – Teresa admitted that if Joe #1 got deported, the long distance thing wouldn’t work for her. She already established last week that she wouldn’t be hauling the kids to Italy. She said she and Juicy Joe had discussed it, and they both believed they’d move on if he had to leave the country. Joe #2 felt Joe #1 deceived Teresa, and she has the right to do whatever she needs to. Andy asked if she reached out to any of the Trumps, since she knows them, but she said no. That made me wonder if she really wants him back. If Kim Kardashian can get a total stranger off the hook, why not make an attempt?  Since by Part Three they’re running out of material, the guys were invited to join the magic circle. Frank, Bill (Jennifer’s husband), Evan (Jackie’s husband), and Joe #3 sat behind their SOs. When the guys did taglines, Joe #2 got in the Housewife spirit by using a gold curtain or blanket or something, as a dress, saying, I don’t flip tables; I have sex on them. Danielle was paraded out, and said she was in the process of divorcing Marty after a whole two months, but they were still living together. I’m not sure how they’re working that, since they also have mutual restraining orders. Danielle claimed to want it out of the public eye, but everyone agreed it was all over social media. The thirst is high with that one. The wedding details were rehashed, and we found out Marty is still friends with the dudes, which doesn’t surprise me. After seeing clips of Danielle throughout the season, Andy asked about a sex toy she had received at her bachelorette party. Danielle said what we were all thinking, after all that, that’s your leading question? There was a lively discussion about how Danielle ruined Mary’s life, and only got married for the TV exposure. We received some of the new gift that keeps on giving – Marty being tossed in the pool by Joe #3 and the Marge. We got a blow by blow from Marge herself, and an endless rehash. Although I do have to say, some of the women had a point that he could have gotten hurt, especially since it was dark out. Teresa was gifted by several cast members, and seemed more embarrassed than anything else. At the end, the girls gave Andy a surprise – a rich kid’s toy car. The kind they can ride around in, along with a tiny tracksuit. Each Housewife also gave him a piece of advice on being a parent. There was a group hug and we were out.

🔱 Judge Judy was wearing a messy bun in court today. I almost went into shock. It was like seeing my dad in jeans for the first time.

🍴 Something had to give on such a TV-crowded night, and it was 24 Hours to Hell and Back. Since it was the two-hour finale, I’m hoping to see it On Demand in the next few days.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Jason tells Sam that she’s been keeping something from him. He read a book to Danny who was out cold in three minutes. She says it’s her secret weapon. There are a million toys everywhere, and she asks if he has extra time to help her clean up. He does.

Kristina brings a girl into Dawn of Day house, and introduces her to Shiloh. Her name is Bridget and she’s been living in Charlie’s parking lot for a couple of weeks. Kristina told her about the work they’re doing, and she was interested in learning more. Shiloh tells Bridget to feel free to help herself to some food. She goes to the kitchen, and he tells Kristina, well done. She says she had to help after hearing Bridget’s story; it broke her heart. Shiloh is proud of her, but she says she’s just trying to follow the tenets. He says she’s a gift to DOD and him.

Niagara Falls. Josslyn, Oscar, Cameron, and Trina enter a hotel room. Josslyn says the accommodations are courtesy of the adventure fund. Trina says, and her fake ID. Oscar says he’s stressed, since Cameron drove his car into a pothole. Cameron says he didn’t know he was supposed to brake into a skid. Oscar wanted to visit Niagara Falls, and here they are. Oscar says they’re not visiting. They’re stranded until his car is fixed tomorrow. Trina says they’re here for the night. It doesn’t have to be a bad thing.

Elizabeth sits next to Franco, and tells him that he needs to wake up. Epiphany comes in, and asks how he’s doing. Elizabeth says, the same, and Epiphany asks her to step outside. She doesn’t want to leave, but Epiphany says she has to change his dressing; she knows the rules. She can come back soon as Epiphany is finished. She tells Elizabeth, relax, but Elizabeth says that’s not happening until Franco wakes up. Drew arrives, saying he got her text. He asks how Franco is.

Laura can’t believe they’re getting out, and Doc can’t believe it worked. Danzinger was a physicist and engineer, but Doc never imagined he could manage something so elaborate. I’d be more impressed that he did it with what? A spoon? She says they have to go to the police, but he says he’s not going with her.

Jason asks Sam if she’s sure she wants to risk it. She says cleaning up is a dangerous job, but someone has to do it. Jason says, Kristina might come by, but Sam says she’ll give her a cover story. It’s not like she’s not lying already. He laughs at all the stuff all over. She says the kids love when he comes there. She thanks him for helping, and they kiss.

Shiloh asks Kristina if there’s any word on Jason. She’s sure he’s out of the hospital; he’s pretty resilient. Shiloh hopes Jason finds peace, and gives Sam the space she needs. Kristina says she didn’t know how taxing the relationship was on Sam. Shiloh says it’s good Sam is being honest with herself. Kristina says she was convinced they were soulmates, and Shiloh suggests maybe she was naïve or misguided. Kristina sees that now, thanks to his teaching, and Sam seems to be removing herself from Jason.

Trina says they’re parent free, and should make the most of it. Josslyn says her life over; she’ll have to call her mom. Trina suggests she text, and tell Carly that she’s sleeping at Trina’s. Trina will text her mother and says she’s sleeping at Josslyn’s house. Oscar says his mom is working, so he should be good. Cameron says his mom is on his case, but as long as he’s back before he has to do community service, it should be fine. He’s glad to be away from the Franco mess.

Elizabeth says she can’t lose her husband. Epiphany is like, what? and Elizabeth says they got married. Epiphany says she’ll table her thoughts on that until later. Elizabeth knows she’s not his biggest fan. Epiphany says she’s not a fan of his crimes, but she knows Kiki loved him, and Elizabeth does, so there’s got to be something good. Elizabeth asks her, please bring him back. Epiphany says Elizabeth is the reason he has a chance to survive. She kept him alive; let them take over. Drew arrives, and asks, what happened? Elizabeth says Drew just missed Franco at the house. He came to the there, bleeding from a deep stab wound. Drew asks if he explained himself, and she says he was in and out of consciousness, but said he lied about being the killer. He swore it was Ryan Chamberlain. Drew says, that’s not possible; he’s been dead over twenty years. Chase appears and says, that’s the accepted theory, but the body was never found, so it’s possibly wrong.

Laura says Doc is coming with her, but he says he’d only slow her down. She has no idea what obstacles might be in there. She says she can’t leave; what if Ryan comes back? Doc says Ryan got her signature; what else would he need? He doesn’t want to be a burden, and tells her, just go. She says not without him, but he says their best option is for her to get help. He’ll be waiting; he’s not going anywhere. The longer Ryan is out there, he can kill. He tells her to think about Lulu and her grandchildren, and all the people in Port Charles who are counting on her to protect them. Do it for them – and us. She says she loves him, and kisses him. He loves her too, but says she has to go. He tells her, be careful, and she says she’ll be back for him. She crawls into the tunnel.

Chase says Jordan left him a message about bringing him in on a case, but never had the chance to say what it was. He has a hunch it involved Franco. Her phone was recovered, and showed a missed call listed as urgent. He and Curtis cracked the phone, and it was a voicemail from Franco, probably made after he escaped. He said Ryan Chamberlain was the killer. Elizabeth says, it doesn’t make sense, but Chase says there are too many weird coincidences. Anna even mentioned Ryan in an unrelated case. Elizabeth asks if he’s saying Ryan could still be alive.

Daisy is ready to help Shiloh with his seminar, but he says there’s been a change in plans. He’s having Kristina help with this one. She’s ready. He tells Daisy not to be upset. He needs her to set up the refreshments.

Sam tells Jason about a spaceship Danny wants to put together as a family. She told him there’s a million pieces that Scout could choke on, but he suggested they put her in a high chair, and give her the box. Jason says Danny told him about it too, but he said he’d have to talk it over with her. She doesn’t see the harm, but he says they’re supposed to be broken up. She says they’re still parents, and did agree they’d see each other as a family. She thinks why Danny pulled out every toy. He wants Jason to stay around, and for them to be together.

Daisy asks Shiloh if she’s being punished. He says he just tasked her with refreshment duties, but she says she always assists with the seminars. He says maybe it’s time to give up the reigns. Kristina is ready. She’s done a spectacular job as ambassador. Kristina says that’s because of Daisy, who showed her the ropes. Shiloh thinks Daisy’s energy is better spent proving her worth to DOD. The emails she sent Sam are of concern. She forgot what’s most important; the good that DOD has done for her. He tells Kristina, let’s get started, and Kristina follows him, leaving an obviously upset Daisy.

Jason tells Sam that Danny doesn’t understand. Sam says it’s temporary, but Jason thinks they need to be aware of the impact it’s having. Sam asks what he wants to do, and he says everything they can to reassure Danny. He thinks they should just build the spaceship as a family. If Shiloh has a problem, blame it on him. Sam asks what if Shiloh wonders why she’s not setting limits, and Jason tells her to say she’s concerned about a custody fight, and wants to keep it amicable. It’s the best thing for Danny. Sam says maybe she should bail.

Oscar and Josslyn bring in a bunch of bags of chips. Oscar says, no one is delivering because of the icy roads, so, presenting dinner. Cameron is sorry for getting them stuck, but Josslyn says they’ve agreed to make the most of the night. Trina says they’re going to give Josslyn and Oscar privacy. She and Cameron will be in the other room. She’s been looking forward alone time with Cameron, and tells him they should leave the lovebirds to themselves.

Epiphany tells Franco that she heard congratulations are in order. When he wakes up, he’d better treat Elizabeth right. He doesn’t want her for an enemy. The machine starts to beep, and she asks if he can hear her.

Chase says they can’t rule anything out until they speak to Franco. Drew asks if Chase knows what happened at Ferncliff. Chase says according to Doc’s account, Franco somehow produced a knife, and attacked him. He took the knife away, and stabbed Franco in self-defense. He had a defense wound on his hand. Elizabeth says Franco had a major stab wound. Chase says until they know otherwise, they have to assume it was self-defense. Chase leaves, and Elizabeth tells Drew, it makes no sense. She asks him to try and get ahold of Cameron. She wants to tell him before it hits the news. He says he has to call Oscar too.

Laura is out! Her face covered in soot, she goes through a door to the outside world.

Elizabeth asks if Doc said anything else. Chase says, no. They’ll have to wait until Franco wakes up to find out why he tried to kill Doc.

Sam tells Jason that Kristina is getting in deeper. She can’t just stand by. Jason says they’ll find a way to compromise, and make sure to support and reassure Danny. He’s concerned Shiloh is going not step up the pressure because of the kiss, even though she did a good job covering. She thinks he bought it. Jason says he wants to think she’s vulnerable, and Jason is possessive. He told Jason that he’s holding her back, and had to let go. She’s part of him and the DOD community, so she’s under Shiloh’s protection. Sam says she should be happy she’s making progress, but Shiloh gives her the creeps, pulling her into his flock, but it’s worse for Kristina. The sooner they get her out, the better. Jason tells her that he has to meet Carly, and they hug.

Shiloh asks Kristina if she’s ready for the next phase of enlightenment. She says she is, and he asks if that includes financially. She says her brother is lending her the money. Shiloh helped her realize she can’t accept handouts, so she’s repaying him with interest. Shiloh is glad her brother is supportive, and Kristina says he told her that he’s seen a change in her.

Daisy goes to Sam’s place. She tells Sam that it was horrible and cruel for her to exploit Sam’s past. Sam says she knows what Daisy was trying to do, and there’s no need to rehash. Daisy says she has to accept responsibility. She’s working her way back to DOD’s good graces how involve her ask forgiveness

In Trina and Cameron’s room, Cameron apologizes for the giant mess. He ruined the trip, since he was a worse driver than he thought. Trina says if she was driving, they would have gone over the falls. Cameron has to be back by tomorrow afternoon, and doesn’t like the possibility of being shipped to juvie, but that’s not what’s really bothering him. Trina says she saw the interview with Franco, and Cameron says, good times. She’s sorry his mom married Franco, and he says she fell in love with someone she made up. She can’t let go of the fantasy. He says this can’t be Trina’s idea of fun, since she’s a party girl. She’s says not really, but the reputation makes her seem cooler. He says she’s cool enough already, and she says he’s sweet. He tells her he’s flattered, but… and she says she’s not really into him. She was faking so Josslyn and Oscar could be alone. Sorry to hurt his feelings. He says he’s kind of relieved, and she says, thanks. He says he likes her, but doesn’t like her like her. They decide to watch a movie. He wants Will Farrell or Star Wars, but she wants to cry her eyes out.

Oscar didn’t know Trina was into Cameron, and Josslyn says she’s completely surprised; usually Trina tells her everything. It kind of makes sense for them to be together. She’s happy for them, and she and Oscar get alone time. He hopes they see the Falls tomorrow. It makes you realize how big the world is, and how small we are in the scheme of things. The Falls keep going no matter what. Like how the stars will be there long after they’re gone. Sometimes he forgets they’re just visitors. They’re only mortals, but maybe after we die, we understand where the beauty comes from. She asks him to let her know what he finds out, and they kiss.

Drew tells Elizabeth that he couldn’t get ahold of Cameron or Oscar. He says they’re always playing with their phones, but never answer them. Epiphany comes out, and says Franco is awake and asking for Elizabeth. Chase follows. Epiphany wants him to give them space, but he says it’s a police matter. Elizabeth tells Franco that she’s there, and asks him to open his eyes for her. He does, and asks, what happened? She says he was hurt, and he’s in the hospital. She was so scared he wouldn’t make it. He says he was too, but he had to for her because he loves her. She says she loves him too, and kisses him. Chase knows Franco has had a tough day, but he needs to ask some questions. Elizabeth asks him to go easy. Chase asks why Franco called Jordan, and does he know why he was listed as urgent? Franco says they had a plan to bait the killer, and get him to reveal himself. He’ll have to ask Jordan. She knows more; it was her plan. Chase says she was hit by a car, and she’s incapacitated. Franco says he heard that, and Chase asks, how? He says someone told him. Chase wonders if it was Doc when he visited Franco in Ferncliff.

Daisy says Sam has a lovely home, and Sam asks how Daisy knew where she lived. Daisy says Kristina told her. She’d said it was a penthouse, but she doesn’t know how Kristina gave it up. Sam says she loves the group, and Daisy says she loves it too. Sam asks if that’s why she’s accepting responsibility within the group, and Daisy says, yes. She needs to acknowledge her mistake to the person most effected. She thought it was Shiloh or Kristina. Sam is sure she and Kristina will work it out. Daisy hopes so. It’s been difficult, and she needs to deal with the consequences or she can’t move forward. She can’t reconcile with Shiloh without it. Sam says she forgives Daisy, and hugs her. Daisy offers to help Sam clean up. When she bends over, Sam sees a tramp stamp and asks what the symbol stands for.

Josslyn pulls back, and asks Oscar if it doesn’t feel weird that they’re not worried about someone walking in on them. He says yeah, but good weird. Things happen for reason. Josslyn says like them ending up there alone. He feels like they’ve been given a chance. Josslyn asks if he’s talking about what she thinks he is. Is he ready? He thinks so. She says, yes or no, and he says yes. What about her? She says, yes; now what? He says they’ll see where it goes. For some reason, this scene makes me want to cry.

Chase says Doc must have told Franco before Franco attacked him with the knife. Franco says it wasn’t his knife. Ryan tried to kill him, then stabbed his own hand to make it look like Franco hurt him. Chase says Franco didn’t attack Doc? and Franco says he didn’t attack anyone. He didn’t kill anybody. He asks if Elizabeth believes him.

Drew sees Laura, who’s telling an officer that they can’t waste time. She doesn’t need medical attention. She needs to speak to the commissioner. Drew asks if she’s okay, and what happened? She says she was trapped in Ferncliff, but found a way out. She went to the highway where the officer picked her up. She told him she knows who the killer is, but he won’t believe her.

Franco says Ryan is the killer. The highway cop sticks his head in and says he needs Chase. Epiphany gets all Epiphany on him, saying there are too many people in her patient’s rooms He says the mayor is there, and says she knows who killer is. Chase comes out, and Laura says Franco isn’t the killer. It’s Ryan Chamberlain. Chase asks if there’s proof, and she says he attacked Doc and switched places with him. Doc is still in the basement at Ferncliff. He’s blind and needs help. Chase wants confirmation, and she says to go to Doc’s office. They’ll find Ryan’s fingerprints. They have to find Ryan before he has the chance to kill again.

In the garage, Jason calls Carly, but he hears the phone ring. It’s under a car.

Daisy says the tattoo is nothing. Sam says, it’s cool, and asks what it stands for. Daisy says she has no clue. She did stupid stuff when she was younger. She was a different person. She suddenly needs to get going. Sam asks if she’s okay; she seems anxious. Daisy says she’s just excited to let Shiloh know that Sam forgave her. She’s glad they’re cool again, and hopes to see her at DOD. She jets.

Shiloh takes out his iPad. His screen saver is the tattoo symbol. He says he has big plans for Kristina’s future.

Sam sketches the tattoo symbol.

Cameron tells Trina that between Oscar and Franco, he needs to watch something to cheer him up. She says, Mary Poppins Returns it is.

Oscar sends a text, and says mission accomplished. They’re parents won’t worry, and they’re alone, until they wake up together in the morning. He takes her hand.

Drew gets a text from Oscar saying he’s sleeping at Manny’s. He needs to prep for a test.

Chase says Ryan has been confirmed as the killer. The FBI has been notified, and there’s an APB out. He tells Franco to rest; they still have stuff to go over. Franco says he has so much tell Elizabeth. She says she never thought he did it. He says he loves her, but she says she loves him more. He doesn’t think that’s possible. He just wants it over, and to come home and be with her and the boys. She kisses him.

Chase asks Laura when she last saw Ryan. She says in the basement at Ferncliff. He made her sign the divorce papers so he was free to marry Ava. She says Ava is in terrible danger. She’ll be happy to answer all of his questions on the way to Ferncliff. Doc is still there, and needs them.

In the basement at Ferncliff, Doc says wherever Laura is, he’s so sorry.

Jason sees the phone and picks it up. He sees it’s his call coming through, and makes a worried face. He yells for Carly.

Tomorrow, Oscar tells Josslyn that he loves her, Jordan wakes up, and Ava hopes not-Doc doesn’t mind starting the honeymoon tonight.

The Haves and The Have Nots

Candace wakes up in Charles’s arms. He says she needed sleep, and asks, did she dream? She says, a little bit; she saw him running. Charles says, that’s good. She tells him that she feels better today. He thought she would. It’s a new day. She asks if he stayed there, and he says, all night. He needed her as much as she needed him. She wonders why, and he says he’ll drag her down that road another day. He has to go to DC to meet with the President, and tells her this is the part where she says wants to come with him. She wants to come, but is he sure she won’t ruin it? He says she has no idea who he is. She asks him to tell her, but he says, no. Later, when she puts a ring on it. She says, it must be good, and he says that little sh*t she was doing? He had her beat. I can’t wait to find out his backstory.

Candace says, really? Now she’s really curious. Charles is curious why it took so long for her to have that moment. She’s strong and solid; a lesser woman would have broken long ago. She says, it’s embarrassing, but he says, it’s healing and cleansing. It’s not easy changing who you are, but it’s possible. She doesn’t know where to start. He thinks he does, and she asks, where? He tells her, don’t roll her eyes, but her mother. He tells her that he said don’t; she says she didn’t. He says, there’s a lot of damage there, and a lot to heal. She hears him. There’s a knock at the door, and Charles says he’s coming. He tells Candace that he’ll be done with press around seven. She says she’ll be there. Landon comes in. Charles says he knows. He has to get dressed, shower, and get in the car. He apologizes for commandeering Landon’s room, and get moving.

Landon says, so…? Candace says she’s feeling better. She tells him get out of there, but he says it’s his room, and he needs a shower. He says she looks better. Charles has a way of doing that; making her feel better. Like he does Landon. Candace says, it’s so obvious, and Landon says, his straight man crush. She sees why, and he says she’s showing her softer side. She tells him that she’s still Miss Candace, but she does feel better. It’s weird. Landon asks if it’s the sex, but she says they didn’t even have it; it’s just different. Landon hears going to the Oval with him. Charles knew she would. He just knows. She tells Landon to be honest. Does he think they’ll laugh at her, a little black girl from Savannah? He says Charles told him her sense of security was false. She asks what else he said, and Landon says she’s not a confused, crazed bitch. He didn’t believe it, but Charles knows her. As far as Washington is concerned, she’ll have them eating out of the palm of her hand, like Josephine Baker did with the French. She’s got this. And if not, lean on the gorgeous man he’d kill for a night with. He says there’s a team waiting with wardrobe. It will be fun; she’ll slay them. He tells her get out so he can shower. Geez, even I’m smiling, this is so happy. It’s that soap moment where you think everything can work out. But it never does for long.

At David’s house, Jeffrey’s phone rings. It’s Justin. He’s good, but still bruised. He can’t believe David did this to him. Jeffrey says, sorry. He feels bad about it. Justin asks if Jeffrey is coming to see him, but Jeffrey says he has to take care of his dad. Justin wants him to see place, and whines what about him? Jeffrey says he’s not burned, and Justin says he was beaten badly. Jeffrey can at least come to say hi and see the place. Jeffrey says he will later tonight; he’ll call. Justin wears me out, and I’m not even involved. Justin tells Jeffrey that he loves him, and Jeffrey says, I love you too. Madison walks through, and Jeffrey asks if he was listening. Madison says he was just having breakfast. Jeffrey says he remembers why he didn’t like Madison in school – he’s so damn nosey. Madison says he’s having a conversation loud enough to hear in the kitchen, but Jeffrey says he was whispering. Actually, it was somewhere in between, where the truth often lies. Jeffrey tells Madison not to tell his dad what he heard, and Madison says, tell him what? That Jeffrey loves him? Madison says Jeffrey needs to listen. He can’t go over there. Justin is going to try and kill him. He’s dangerous. Hear him right now. In situations like this, someone like Justin will try to hurt, manipulate, and destroy. It’s not going to end up well. Jeffrey says Justin’s not going to hurt him. Madison has said all he can say. Jeffrey says, don’t tell his father, and in another perfect soap moment, David says, don’t tell his father what? He comes downstairs, and Jeffrey says, nothing. David asks if it’s about that boy. Is Jeffrey still seeing him? Jeffrey asks if David is still seeing mom. David says Jeffrey doesn’t understand; it’s complicated. Jeffrey says, he’s smart; try him. David doesn’t want to get into that right now. He says Justin is dangerous, and Jeffrey says, so is mom. He makes valid points, except I think David has an agenda. David forbids Jeffrey to see Justin, and Jeffrey forbids David to see mom. Madison is like, I’m out of here, but David wants him to stay. Jeffrey says he’s going to his own place, if David is going be with her. David says he’s trying to protect Jeffrey, and Jeffrey asks, how? By sending some thugs to beat Justin to death? David says he was sending a message in a way Justin understands – violence. Jeffrey says maybe it’s time he sent mom a message she understands. Yeah, I think that’s the plan.

Before the grand jury, George asks Sara if she took evidence from the evidence room, and she admits she did. He asks if she gave it to Jim Cryer, and she says, yes. He asks, why? and she says Jim was blackmailing her. She did things in college that would make it so she couldn’t practice law. George asks if it was a secret, and she says, yes. He wants the jury to see exhibit A. It’s a picture of Sara in a sexual situation (I guess she did porn?), and he asks her if this is why. She says it is. He asks if he or anyone has offered her a deal to testify, and she says, no. He asks why she’s doing it, and she says she committed a crime, and she’s willing to pay for it. He thanks her, and asks them to send in the next witness – Wyatt.

Wyatt walks in like it’s a bar. George swears him in. George asks if, on the night in question, Wyatt ws involved in a motor vehicle accident. Wyatt says, yeah, and George asks him to tell the jury what happened. He says he was driving his car, and he hit a man on the street. George asks if he knew the man, and Wyatt says he found out later that it was Benny Young. After he hit Benny, he drove onto the sidewalk. He doesn’t remember, but found out he had hit a little girl. George asks how he knows, and Wyatt says he was told the night of the accident. George asks if he was under the influence, and Wyatt says, yeah. George shows the jury a picture of Lizzie, telling them this is the little girl Wyatt hit. He asks what Wyatt did after he hit her, and he says he went home to his parents. He told them He’s hit someone. George asks what his parents said, and Wyatt says they told him that they’d handle it. They covered it up. George asks, how? and Wyatt says, Veronica hid his car. Out in the hall, Jim listens in.

Jim calls David, and says they’re in trouble. He’s sitting outside the grand jury room, and Wyatt’s singing like a bird. George is after them, and they need a plan. David says he’ll make some calls, and get information. Jim needs to get his son in line. Jim knows that, and it’s going to happen as soon as Wyatt’s ass is out of that room. David asks if he’s sure Wyatt is going to walk, and Jim says, this is his immunity deal. David tells him to handle his son, and Jim says he’s on it. A woman sits on the bench next to Jim, and he tells her to get her ass out of there. She gives him a dirty look, but moves along. He tells David to call the dogs out, every last damn one. If George thinks they’re going down, he has another thing coming. They’ll take everyone down with them. Davis says George doesn’t know them. Jim wants Veronica on him. He tells David to meet him at his house, along with Veronica, and he’ll get Kathryn there too. They have to make good on this very bad deal.

Kathryn visits Hanna. She asks if she can come in. Hanna says she’s already in, and it’s her house. Kathryn says she’s so very sorry. Hanna says, he’s her son. Kathryn understands. She knows Hanna is protective. Hanna says of both her children. She can’t believe Jim would do something like that. Kathryn says she can’t excuse him for being an a-hole, but promises he won’t do it again. He knows when she’s a threat. Trust her. She holds the purse strings, and he’s mad as hell. That’s why he wants Wyatt’s money. He spent all of his on whores, and she’s his sole supporter. Plus Hanna’s daughter is making him crazed. Hanna says she’ll give Kathryn the money, but she’s not giving him nothing. As soon as Benny is better, they’re going to the bank. Kathryn tells Hanna there’s no hurry, and asks how it feels having eight million dollars. Hanna doesn’t like it; it feels scary. Kathryn says it’s got to feel good, and Hanna says, if she earned it, it might feel good. Kathryn says, speaking of earning, but Hanna says she’s not coming back to the house. Kathryn isn’t asking her to, but there’s the hotel. Jim has nothing to do with it.  Hanna likes to work and needs a job. Hanna considers it, and says, okay. Kathryn says she’ll call the manager, and set up a dog and pony show. She asks about Derrick, but Hanna’s not in the mood to talk. Kathryn wheedles it out of Hanna that she likes him. Kathryn thought she would. Hanna says she likes him a lot. He’s a good man. She got a little scared when she saw him with Veronica. Kathryn tells her just ask if it bothers her. Hanna says, whatever is supposed to be, will be revealed, and Kathryn says, ever the faithful.

Kathryn’s phone rings. It’s Jim, who says she needs to get home. She says don’t tell her what to do, and he informs her that Wyatt is testifying before a grand jury. Get her ass home; they need to talk – her, him, David, and Veronica. Kathryn hangs up, and Hanna asks if it’s bad news. Kathryn needs to go. Benny and Mitch come in. Kathryn apologizes to Benny, and tells him that his mom gave Jim quite an ass whooping. That was the best! She says Jim won’t bother him again, and leaves.

Hanna says they’ve been gone a long time, and Mitch says Benny had to be re-stitched up. Benny asks why Mitch talks so much. Mitch says all he does is help, and this is the thanks he gets. He leaves, and Benny asks if Hanna is all right. He asks what happened at the Cryer house, and she says everything she’s not proud of, but she thinks Jim knows how far she’ll go to protect her kids. She wore his ass out; her and Candace. Benny says it takes a devil to make them team up. Hanna tells him the money isn’t theirs, and they’re going to the bank first thing tomorrow. She’s not playing. The doorbell rings. It’s Derrick, and Hanna tells Benny, hush.

Derick asks if everything is okay, and Benny says, everything is fine; go home. He’s so five-years-old about this. He asks if Derrick has a home, and Hanna says they’re going to the kitchen. Derrick says Hanna sounded upset on the phone. She says she was, but she calmed down. He wants to take her out to dinner, but she says he’s spending too much money. He says he doesn’t mind, and she asks if he’s secretly rich. She tells him that she can cook, but he says Benny is there. Hanna says he just likes to bark. They joke around, and Benny comes in. He says he’s going to watch Derrick, and Hanna tells him, go upstairs. He says he’s watching Derrick, and Derrick says he knows. Benny says, don’t forget it, and heads upstairs.

As Wyatt is leaving the courthouse, a couple of guys grab him. In broad daylight. Right in front of the courthouse. They shove him in a van where Jim is waiting. Jim says he never learns, does he? He tells the driver to get them the hell out of there, and they drive off.

Veronica arrives at Kathryn’s in a magnificent black sportscar. Kathryn comes down, and Veronica says he loves what Kathryn has done with the place; it’s much brighter. Kathryn says it’s always been bright, but Veronica says it seemed darker before. Kathryn says her father’s bedroom was darker, but Veronica says she wouldn’t know about that. She asks what Kathryn did with her father’s things, and Kathryn says they’re in the basement. Kathryn asks if Veronica has seen the basement, but Veronica doesn’t know why she would have; she’s sure it’s creepy. Kathryn says, not so much; it’s just a wall of his things, and I’m like, okay, what does this have to do with anything? Is this something that will makes sense six months from now? Kathryn offers Veronica a drink or ten, but Veronica says she’s trying to stop. Kathryn calls her a brave woman, and Veronica says it’s not like she has a problem. She asks if Kathryn has heard that she and David are getting back together. Kathryn says that’s great news. Veronica says she’s supposed to be meeting him there. Does Kathryn know what it’s about. Kathryn says, apparently Wyatt testified before the grand jury about them. Veronica laughs, and says that can be problematic for them. Kathryn says, for all of them. Veronica asks if Kathryn wants her to work her Veronica lawyer magic, and Kathryn tells her to conjure her best spell. Veronica says she’ll make some phone calls, and see what she can find out. What’s up with everyone’s best contribution being making phone calls?

Jim tells Wyatt, go to his room and stay there. Wyatt asks if Jim thinks he scares him, and Jim says he’s not playing. Get the hell in his room. Wyatt says he thinks today is the day he’ll stay, and goes to the kitchen. Jim asks if David is there, and Veronica says he’s meeting her. They talk more about making phone calls, and David walks in, and sees the gang is all there. Kathryn asks how he is, and he says he’s been better. She heard the great news. Jim asks, what news? and Kathryn says David and Veronica are back together. Jim laughs and congratulates them. David’s phone rings, and he steps out of the room to take the call.

Wyatt paces in the kitchen. He goes to the basement, and yep, it’s crammed with old stuff. He tries a door, but it’s locked. He starts jonesing, saying he needs a drink. It has to be there somewhere. He opens a trunk, and digs around, finding some old guns. He takes out a shotgun, and loads it.

Next time, Madison has bad vibes about Jeffrey seeing Justin, Veronica says all of them have been indicted by the grand jury, and Benny asks Candace what’s wrong.

💃 I didn’t totally pay attention to Mexican Dynasties. It’s one of those shows that I think I like, but it’s second, maybe third, string for now. I caught some of the storyline about twenty-year-old Alan, who auditioned for La Voz, Mexico’s version of The Voice. What caught my attention was the contract requiring him to give them 50% of the profit of any music he ever made and will make in perpetuity, and also basically said they would own him for ten years. Geez, I don’t think American Idol is even that bad. And maybe it’s me, but his dad was bragging about the kid’s range, and it wasn’t all that. After an internal struggle between wanting to get his art out there, and not being a complete and total fool, Alan wisely chose to pass on that one. If nothing else, I might stay in it for the tiny chihuahua.

😴 Since I’m still recovering from my brush with death – i.e. a really nasty virus – and sadly, my best girl, my Pekingese, Juliet, went to the Rainbow Bridge last week while I was in the thick of it, I’m deferring The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills until tomorrow. When HAHN is airing, it’s on at the same time, and the Wives aren’t rerun until 11:30. Because of the above, I need some of that pesky thing called sleep.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Ryan looks at the driver’s licenses he’s kept. He says as much as he’ll miss his adopted hometown, he has to get out while the getting’s good. He turns around and sees Carly. He asks what she’s doing there.

In Ankara, Turkey some dudes play craps. Sonny asks if there’s room for one more.

Curtis looks at Jordan’s phone, and tries unlocking it. He has no luck. Chase joins him and asks how Jordan is. Curtis explains that they had to remove her kidney, but the other is compromised, and she’ll need a transplant. Chase asks if there’s anything he can do to help. Curtis says, maybe. Does he know who’s listed in her phone as urgent?

Anna calls Andre, and leaves a message about Jordan being in a serious accident. She thought he’d want to know. She asks him to call her back. She has another topic she’d like talk to him about. Finn is sure Andre appreciates the update. Anna knows she sounded vague, but she couldn’t say call her back because she thinks he might be the only person who can tell her if her memories are her own.

Laura tells Doc that she thinks they’re in trouble. Doc says, trouble is relative. At least his brother isn’t there holding them at knifepoint. No one has come down since then, and even if they did, he doesn’t know if they could trust them. There are two staff members he knows are working for Ryan. He admits they’re definitely in trouble. Laura says at least they’re together. She’s not giving up hope.

At Charlie’s, Ava tells Julian that she and Doc are getting married – tonight.

Felicia thinks Ava is messing with them, but Mac thinks Carly believes it was the truth. Felicia says, it doesn’t make sense. Mac says, it’s beyond strange, but let him elope with Ava. Lucy overhears, and drops the box of party tableware she’s holding. She says, Doc and Ava what?

Carly says she can’t help but notice what Doc had in his trunk.

The card dealer says he doesn’t think this is the game for Sonny. He must have gotten lost on his way to Monte Carlo. Sonny says, Turkish poker, and runs down the list of rules. He shows them his wad of cash, and says he thought a game would help him pass the time. A dude pats him down, and he sits, saying, deal him in.

Anna tells Finn, Andre is doing volunteer work overseas; penance for what he did. At least that’s what he said. Finn asks if she thinks he knew she was Patient One. Anna says, he had his secrets, but she doesn’t think he’d lie to her face. Finn asks if she could be rationalizing, When the WSB didn’t like it, Andre took his act to the DVX. She thinks he was probably more interested in the procedure than who the subjects were. She wishes there was some way to find out if Cabot was telling the truth about some memories possibly being her sister’s. She can’t let this go. Finn understands, and he’ll be with her every step of the way, but – she says, there’s always a but – he can’t get past something Cabot said. Memories are not widgets. They have no definite quantity or mass. He asks if she can consider the possibility that she might never know which, if any, of her memories belong to Alex.

Curtis tells Chase, after Jordan was hit by the car, she received a voicemail listed as urgent, but there’s no contact information. Chase asks what they said, but Curtis doesn’t know her password. It’s obviously important. Chase says he doesn’t have to take this on; it can wait until she’s better. Curtis says it seemed pressing, and Chase asks if he’s not just projecting. Curtis asks if Chase means he might be trying to control something because he can’t control Jordan’s recovery. Maybe, but there’s only one way to find out – crack it for him. Chase says he’d need approval. Curtis says, from the commissioner? He needs Chase to do him this solid. Chase takes the phone, and says he’ll see what he can do.

Ryan asks Carly, what about his trunk? She says Ava was more than eager to tell them she was eloping with him. He’s sure there were naysayers when she married Sonny over and over. She says he’s right. His personal business is none of hers, but she’d like to ask him something before he skips town. It’s about Wilson Ritter.

Doc tells Laura that they need a miracle, but he believes in them. She found him, and together they can do anything. She loves his positive attitude. He says attitude can make a pivotal difference. Edison never failed. He found a thousand ways not to make the lightbulb before he found the way that worked. Laura says they have to use the process of elimination. They can’t leave by the door; it’s locked. Doc says, the pipes? She says she’s already banged on them, but he says, they’re a conduit. They come from somewhere. Maybe they can pull one loose. Laura is glad to be with him again. She missed hearing him talk, and the way his mind works. She’s astonished and ashamed that she thought Ryan was him. He tells her to cut herself some slack. Ryan is his identical twin. She says, in appearance only. Even when he was trying to feign empathy, it never rang true. She should have figured it out. Doc was never secretive with her. He was always open, honest, and straightforward. Doc says, that’s not exactly true. Rut-roh.

Julian says, that’s news? and Ava says he doesn’t sound excited. He says he’s surprised. Why the mad dash? Doc is divorced, right? She says it’s been finalized, and they want to spend the rest of their lives together. Losing Kiki taught her life is fragile, and you have to hold on to whatever brings you happiness. She thought, as her brother, he’d be happy for her. He says he is, but it seems like she didn’t just come there for that. She says she came there for advice.

Lucy tries to pick everything up, babbling about how she wanted the next Nurses’ Ball to be special, and now it’s ruined. Mac says, nothing is damaged, but Felicia doesn’t think she’s talking about the box. Lucy says, it can’t be true; Doc’s not eloping tonight. Mac says that’s what Ava told them. She says, Ava is lying, but they don’t thinks so. She doesn’t believe it. Not her Doc. He never does anything spur of the moment, and hates change. Mac agrees he’s been acing strange for a while now. Lucy says, he’s been so disconnected from what matters most to him. Now she’s really worried. Felicia is too, and wants to do something about it.

Ryan asks if Carly is talking about the patient in the room adjacent to hers in Ferncliff. She says he told her there was extra security, and assumes he never saw the patient’s face. She wonders if Wilson Ritter could be a pseudonym for Todd Wilson. He asks how she knows that name. She says Franco mentioned in his interview that Ryan used it. She wonders if they could be connected.

Doc starts to tell Laura something, but she sees Danzinger carved into one of the bricks in the wall. She asks Doc why it sounds familiar. He says Archie Danzinger was a serial killer at the turn of the last century. He was a physicist and engineer who had a psychotic break. He liked to leave puzzles to taunt the police. She asks if he was there at Ferncliff, and Doc says, he was an early patient, kept in solitary confinement. He escaped without a trace, and no evidence was ever found of his breakout. Laura says Ryan told them that the ultimate crazies were locked in the basement. What if that was his route, and he found a way to escape from there, and it’s written on the wall?

The owner asks what brings Sonny to his establishment? Sonny says one of his associates had to go into hiding. Raj Patel, an exporter. Do they know him? The owner says he’s out, and so does the dealer. They go into another room, and the dealer says they have to get ready to move. There’s a cop in their midst. Boy, are they off.

Anna tells Finn she’s going to see Jordan; she’s one of Anna’s closest friends. Finn says she’s dodging his question. She says he’s right. There’s a chance she might never know if her memories were affected, but she can’t give up. She has to try and find out. Finn says whatever she’s hoping to find might require Alex’s cooperation. She says, not necessarily. Doc wasn’t a willing participant, and obviously his brother wasn’t involved.

Laura tells Doc that if Danzinger was held there, he carved his name in a brick. She asks Doc to help her move the box that he’s leaning on. She sees Cu carved in it. Doc says it was a hundred years before texting, so he doubts it was an abbreviation for see you. I laugh because that’s exactly what I thought it was. Laura says he left puzzles; maybe this is part of one. Doc asks how it’s written, and she tells him the C is capitalized, and the u is lowercase. Like the beginning of a word. Doc says, copper.

Chase tells Curtis that he’s breaking a dozen protocols. Curtis says if Jordan freaks, he’ll take the hit, but if he’s right, she’ll owe them one. Chase hands him the phone, and Curtis listens to the message. He says, it’s Franco. He said her plan worked, and Ryan Chamberlain is the serial killer.

Ryan tells Carly, presuming Wilson Ritter is connected is a reach. It’s a common name. She says, it fits though. When Mary Pat was taking her through the hall, she saw someone who looked just liked him. He says Ryan is dead, but she says no body was found. He says it was incinerated in the fire. She was over-medicated and highly emotional. She was being taken by a nurse she couldn’t trust to a treatment she didn’t want, and conjured up a friendly face to rescue her. She thinks she saw him, not Ryan. She says, it makes sense, but she has to keep searching until she figures out the truth. He tells her to wait. She might be on to something. He opens his trunk.

The owner and dealer come back, and Sonny says they missed a good hand. The dealer says, when you don’t have the cards, you don’t have the cards, which I guess must lose something in the translation. He says Sonny claims Raj is an associate? Does he work in arms dealing? Sonny says he doesn’t discuss business in public. The dealer says it’s an interesting country. The WSB isn’t allowed to interfere there, but if you put a bounty on someone’s head, it makes sense come there. It’s unfortunate if the Bureau sent a man to track him, and showed contempt of the borders. Sonny says he has the wrong idea. The owner says he doesn’t think so, and pulls out a gun. Sonny flips the table, and draws his own gun. He says he’s just trying to find his son. The owner says Sonny is a WSB agent. Robert is suddenly there, and says, no he’s not, but I am.

Sonny asks Robert what he’s doing there, and Robert says he was in the area, adding that Sonny has a way of escalating a situation. Sonny says he tried the polite way. He asks the dealer where Raj is, but the dealer says Raj crossed them and disappeared, just like he told Sonny’s associate a few weeks back. Sonny asks if it was his son.

Chase tells Curtis, at least Franco is consistent. He found Franco at Elizabeth’s house, bleeding out from a serious knife wound. He said he lied, and the killer is Ryan Chamberlain. Curtis asks, who stabbed him? and Chase says, Doc. When Franco was trying escape, he attacked Doc, who stabbed him in self-defense.  The working theory is that Franco snapped, and thought Doc was his twin. He doesn’t get how Franco had access to a phone, and why his number was listed urgent. Curtis thinks he knows.

Doc tells Laura that Cu is the symbol for copper. Danzinger would have known that, being a physicist and engineer. Laura wonders what copper had do with him escaping. Did he use a copper wire to pick the lock? Doc asks if there’s anything made of copper in the room, but she says, there’s nothing in the room but pipes. Doc says, copper pipes, and she says, there’s one that looks like copper.

Ava tells Julian that she’s never been married. When she was younger, she thought it was for fools, and after Kiki was born, she cherished it being just the two of them. He asks if she’s been in love, and she says there have been men she thought she could spend the rest of her life with, but never wanted to make it official. She never wanted to say the vows, except with Doc. She doesn’t want to mess it up. Julian laughs, and says she wants advice from him? She says he knows what not to do. He says he can give her guidelines, but the truth is you just have to see each other for your true selves, and accept each other for who you are. You can’t see someone as a fixer upper. Some people view marriage like a home improvement project, thinking they’ll make alterations later. Ava says Doc is her taste the way he is. Julian asks if Doc feels the same way. She says he does; he knows her. Julian says he loved Alexis, but it was doomed from the start. He hid his true self, and she tried to change him. Kim accepts who he is. Does Doc accept her for who she truly is? Ava says, he does, and Julian asks if Doc is his most honest self with her. Ava believes he is.

Mac asks if Lucy is okay, but she says, no. She can’t believe Doc divorced Laura and didn’t marry… is marrying Ava. Mac tells her to give it to him straight. She says, deep down, she thought they’d be together again, until Laura. When they married, it finally registered that she’d lost him forever. It broke her heart, but in a good way. It was nice to see Doc happy with someone who wanted to make him happy. At that point, she was able to wish them well. A few months ago, she noticed that Doc seemed like he had a wandering eye – not that she’d ever be the other woman. She says he’s part of her soul, her best friend, and she’s so worried about what’s really going on.

In the garage, Ryan cleans a tire iron. Felicia appears, and says it’s time she got real answers from him.

Everyone has their guns drawn, and Sonny shows the Turkish dudes a picture of Dante. The dealer says they told him Raj hadn’t been there in years, and to get lost. Robert says Sonny is looking for his son; they don’t want trouble. The dealer says, too late. Sonny says they have two options. Shoot each other, and some get hit and some die, or call it a draw and walk out alive. The dealer lowers his gun, and so does everyone else. Robert thanks them for their time. He and Sonny back out of the room, and he tells them to enjoy their card game.

Curtis tells Chase, it stays off the record. Early on, Jordan expressed doubt that the killer was Franco. She had some plan to flush out the killer. He guesses Franco pleading guilty and going to Ferncliff was part of the plan. Chase says before the accident, Jordan had called and left him a message that she wanted to bring him in on something she was working on. He’s willing bet that’s what it was. He thinks it must have been too much for Franco and he snapped. Why attack Doc, or claim a man who’s been dead twenty-five years is the killer. Anna and Finn arrive, and Anna asks what they’re saying about Ryan.

Ryan tells Felicia that he’s in a hurry. Felicia says they heard. He assumes she’s not there to offer congratulations. She says he’s worrying her. He divorced Laura without a peep about him being unhappy. What’s gotten into him? He says he thought he’d found the woman he was destined to spend the rest of his life with, but in the end, she wasn’t worthy of him. She asks if he’s listening to himself. Ava is trouble, and is going to ruin his life. He says, it’s hardly a life and death situation. Felicia doesn’t respond, and he asks if she’s there. She says, sorry. It’s just what he said sounded familiar. Ava arrives, and says she’s ready to go when he is. Felicia says she was just leaving. Ava asks what that was about, and Ryan shrugs.

Laura takes Doc over to the pipe, and puts his hands on it. She tells him it’s a different color than the rest. He asks if there are any other clues. She says, there’s nothing scratched in it; it just looks like there’s a lot of wear. There’s a sound, and Doc says, something shifted. Laura asks if it’s supposed to do that, and he says, no. He twists it, and she says, the wall is moving.

Sonny asks what Robert is doing there. He thought Robert didn’t want to risk a border situation. Robert says he doesn’t, but owes him for Robin. Sonny was there when he couldn’t be, and he pays his debts. What is he, a Lannister? Sonny asks, what now? Is Robert going to help him track Dante. Robert says he’ll do Sonny one better. He did some digging. They’ll get some rest, and meet up with someone who has real information about Dante’s location.

Laura and Doc push the pipes, and the wall opens. Laura says they did it. Doc asks, what is it? She crouches down, and says, it’s a tunnel. She thinks they found the way out.

Chase tells Anna that they think Franco is innocent. He was working with Jordan. Curtis says she wasn’t sure who she could trust in the department, so it was off the books. Finn asks if that’s why Franco did the interview, and Chase says, to goad the killer into making a move, but Franco had a break with reality, and thinks Ryan is out to get him. Curtis asks Anna what she knows, and Finn says his name came up in a seemingly unrelated situation. Anna says, there are too many people talking about a dead man, and she doesn’t believe in coincidences.

Mac asks if Felicia found Doc. She says she did, but couldn’t get through to him. He said it wasn’t a life and death situation. Lucy says it’s not right, and wonders if it’s some midlife crises. Felicia suddenly flashes back to a time she was talking with Ryan, and Ryan telling her, don’t exaggerate. It’s hardly a life or death situation. Mac says, he’s not acting like himself right now. Felicia says, he’s acting like Ryan.

Ava asks Ryan what Felicia wanted, and he says, nothing important. He asks if she’s ready to hit the road, and the beginning of a new life together. She gets in the car. He puts her suitcase in the trunk, where he has Carly bound and gagged. Ava asks if he’s coming, and he says he’ll be right there.

Tomorrow, Oscar says they’re stranded until his car can be fixed, Epiphany asks if Jordan can hear her, and Elizabeth asks if Ryan can be alive.

Vanderpump Rules

James calls Tom, asking if he wants to play golf. Tom thinks Jax plays, and James says he’ll try him later. He tells James that Lala and Rand broke up, and James says he’s not surprised. They were always fighting, and Rand is 78 years old. The jealousy runs strong in this one. Rand isn’t all that old, is actually kind of cute, and incredibly successful. James wonders if Lala is going to stick to this break up, or she’ll go for the roses and Chanel bags. I pick door number two.

Jax brings home four different ice creams, and vodka for Lala. Brittany explains about the breakup. Jax says, omg, she’ll have to fly commercial. Katie comes over, bearing babas to soothe Lala. They pour Tito’s into them. Lala arrives, and Jax makes himself scarce. Lala says she lasted all of seventeen hours. When she saw him living his best life after harassing her about drinking, she was done. She knows he felt badly. He took her Gucci slides, but then gave them back. In her interview, Lala says if she and Rand come together in a moment of clarity and recommit, she can let it go. And she got her shoes back. Jax plays drums in his room, dubbed Jax’s Cave.

Lala talks about her film premiere. She’s starring in The Row, a film Rand produced. She says the character is a prude, and it was a stretch. Afterward, just the two of them are celebrating, since they need alone time.

Lisa tells us that the profits on the products sold at Vanderpump Dogs goes to the center, but she thinks it would be nice to eventually turn it into a business. Schwartz brings in his dog for a rinse, since the dog had just gotten groomed, then rolled in a dead bird. Yep. If it’s smelly and awful, they want to roll in it, especially if they’ve just had a bath. Beau wants his dog look like a hipster, but Stassi says no lady wants look like that. Lisa asks about the girls trip. Stassi says it was fantastic, except for Kristen, who turns into Satan on vacation. She’s having problems with Carter. Lisa is sorry it’s not working out with Carter, since he’s been a stabilizing factor for her. Lisa obviously didn’t get the memo, and Stassi hesitates to give it to her. In Stassi’s interview, she says all Kristen talks about is how unhappy she is. Carter doesn’t treat her right. It’s like when she was with Patrick. The only difference is, Kristen is older and should know better. Don’t count on it. Stassi tells Lisa that she’s meeting Beau’s mom this week. She’s also doing a mini workshop to help the group with their relationships. In her interview, Stassi says Beau has been taught and trained his whole life to deal with psychos like her. Beau says he and Stassi have talked about a future. In Lisa’s interview, she says she finally got Ken’s mom’s approval. It only took about twenty-five years.

Tom is working on a loan application, and forwards it to Ariana. She wants move, but realizes that rent money just goes down drain. In her interview, she says for most of her friends, being an adult means getting engaged, married, and having kids. For her, it’s the financial independence of getting a house, and owning property. Ha-ha! Just wait until you have your own money pit. Although they probably make more money in a week than we do in a year. Tom says he wants enough bedrooms. He wants kids even if it’s to adopt. He’d like to raise a kid or kids. Ariana listens to classical music in her head. He asks if she’d be open to considering it. Jax brought it up. In Ariana’s interview, she says there’s two things she knows for sure. She doesn’t want kids, and she wants people to stop asking if she wants kids. Stay the eff out of her uterus. In his interview, Tom says it’s never an easy thing to bring up, but it’s fair to ask about, since they’re planning a future. Ariana says, it’s nobody’s business.

At SUR, Brittany gives Jax drink orders. It’s packed and busy as usual. Lala is about ready to blow; it’s so crazy. She tells Brittany that tomorrow she’s walking the carpet for a film she’s the lead in. She’s excited, but sh*tting bricks. She never thought she’d be in a horror film, since she’s not a great screamer.

Jax is having a dinner break, when James calls. He invites Jax for golf. In Jax’s interview, he says he clearly isn’t friends with James, nor does he want to be, but James is Tom’s friend, and he likes golf, so why not?

Stassi and Lala go to get their hair done. Lala loves girl time. Stassi says she’s never known someone who’s been in a movie, and it’s her favorite genre. Lala tells her that Rand effed up, and she thought he betrayed her trust. Stassi says she couldn’t even tell anything was wrong. In her interview, Stassi says they have a million group chats. How come this was never mentioned. She asks Lala how long it was before they got serious. Lala says Rand saw her, and sent his assistant to ask if she was an actress. She told him to look at her Instagram account. The next day, she got a phone call saying she had an audition. They went out after the audition, and she let him hit it the first night. After that, they were inseparable. She also got a car the next day. Stassi asks if her vagina is made of sparkles? In Stassi’s interview, she says she’s had guys call her an Uber, and thought that was nice. Lala tells Stassi about how she sometimes wears a wig and meets Rand at a bar, and they role play. I can’t believe the hairdresser is even keeping a straight face as Lala tells Stassi about their sexual adventures.

James says, it’s been a rocky road when it comes to Lisa and SUR. She told him he needs to take tangible steps better himself, or he can’t get his job back. He doesn’t even like golf, but anything for the guys to tell Lisa that he’s doing better. Actually, she said he may never get his job back, but okay. Tom says he and Ariana are looking at houses, and he’d appreciate it if they didn’t bring up anything about having kids. James says he’ll probably have one before any of them do. Tom understands that giving birth freaks Ariana out, but it’s not a hard no. However, if people keep asking, she’s going to say never. In Jax’s interview, he wonders if he didn’t ask questions, would Ariana be pumping out kids? He doesn’t think so. He tells Tom they should have the conversation. Schwartz thinks ultimatums are effective; they get sh*t done. That, or they get you a push out the door.

Kristen says Lala’s movie is about sorority bitches eating flesh. It’s from the college slasher hot girl genre. She wonders if that could be a genre. I vote no. The girls go out to eat. Stassi says it will be a big fail if Beau’s mom doesn’t like her. She’s so nervous, her boobs are sweating, and even her boob sweat is sweating. She tells Kristen that she and Carter should be open and honest. Kristen insists things are more positive, and now he’s carrying his weight financially. In her interview, Katie says Kristen recently vented about not being happy. Now it’s like some miracle happened overnight. Stassi says if it’s a group situation, she’ll tell them things are good. Brittany tells her to make sure they’re honest. Stassi thinks it seems like she’s hiding things. In her interview, Brittany says Carter went on vacation, and took Kristen’s entire wallet. She didn’t even have her ID or anything. I’m stunned. I wouldn’t just break up with him, I’d call the police and report my stolen wallet. Katie tells her, wake up. She’s not happy. They don’t sleep in the same bed, they don’t have sex, and he’s mean to her. In her interview, Kristen says if she gets married, it’s going to be to Carter. She’s getting older, and doesn’t want to be alone and miserable, so she needs her friends’ support. Katie thinks she should get the eff out now. Yeah, don’t settle like this. Get some therapy instead, and find out why you think so little of yourself.

Stassi meets Beau and his mom Isa at an outdoor restaurant. In her interview, Stassi says, it’s crazy. This woman could be her future mother-in-law. She feels like this is her wedding day. Is that creepy? I dunno if it’s creepy, but it’s weird. They hug, and Stassi gives her a gift bag. Isa says Stassi is beautiful, but what moves Beau is personality; who she is. That’s a real compliment. Beau says Stassi is the first girl he thought of as his best friend. Stassi gets teary. Beau has to pee, and says don’t embarrass him when he’s gone. He’s leaving his phone on record. Stassi says she loves Beau, and was scared to meet her, because it matters that much more. Isa says she loves him, and he’s happy with her. He really loves her, and cares about her as a person. In his interview, Beau plays the recording, where Stassi says she hopes it’s not too freaky to hope that Isa is her future mother-in-law. Isa feels the same way. Stassi says she loves Beau so effing much, and Isa thanks Stassi for loving her son. Beau thinks it went well. Stassi tells Isa she’s a huge part of the reason Beau is the way he is. Isa thanks her, but says she’s wrong.

Britanny has three birthday parties in her section at work. She tells Katie, it’s past ten, and she can’t eat or drink, since she has surgery tomorrow. She’s getting her wisdom teeth pulled. She says the last time she had surgery was when she had her boobs done. Jax didn’t care for her as he should have, but now that they’re engaged, he’d better.

DJ Mickey spins. Lisa comes in asks why Schwartz is there. She asks what’s happening with the term sheet, and Tom says they’re lawyer has been out of town. In her interview, Lisa says they wanted it and wanted it, so she gave them the term sheet. TomTom’s opening is coming up, but they can’t open if the Toms aren’t 100% on board. She tells them, Jax is looking good right now.

Jax brings a loopy Brittany home. In his interview, he says in the past, his relationships were going nowhere, and he didn’t want to care of anyone. With Brittany, things are different. He loves her, and she’s his best friend. He enjoys taking care of her, and almost gets off on it. Ariana stops by to say hey real quick. She brought Brittany popsicles. She removes one of the dogs from the bedroom, telling Jax the puppy is too hyped to be playing nurse. Jax tells her that he’s sorry for asking about kids. It’s a normal question, so he didn’t realize it would cause a problem. In Schwartz’s interview, he says it’s textbook Jax. Apologizing for bringing up kids, then proceeding to talk about kids. Ha-ha! Yep. He means well; he’s just an idiot. Jax says if they’re getting a house, that means they’re thinking about a future. Before they buy a house, they should make sure they’re on the same page. In her interview, Ariana says Jax is not the authority. She wants him to take his head out of her vagina. Ariana says if she wants to leave, Tom can buy her out, and she’ll stay there

Beau’s mom is doing a relationship workshop, and Kristen offers her place. Carter says it should be stadium seating. In Kristen’s interview, she says the irony isn’t lost on her that when her relationships are rocky, she’s under attack from her friends. Schwartz is scared. What if it gets freaky? Isa arrives, and says she plans on discussing what happens when we’re emotionally triggered. Schwartz asks if they can have shots first. In her interview, Stassi explains that Beau’s mom doesn’t charge. She just likes helping people. Isa says normally, she has people ask questions, but this time, she thought she’d teach them what they can apply in their own lives. She says when the old primal part of the brain, the reptilian brain, is emotionally triggered, the part that solves problems is no longer functioning. In Lala’s interview, she wonders if the reptilian brain is all she has left. Isa says, like Alien vs Predator; there’s no potential for compromise. In her interview, Ariana thinks maybe that’s why she wants to stab Jax. Isa says they need a safety plan for when they’re triggered, and suggests getting out of the same space. She says, the payment is intimacy, which we all yearn for, and I gag a little.

Afterward, Beau tells Kristen that his mom likes to talk for hours. Kristen says she could listen for hours. Ariana imagined herself turning into a dinosaur. She tells Tom that she heard he’d said not having kids was a deal-breaker at his birthday party. A) that’s news to her, and B) there’s the door. I laugh, since that sounds like what I’d say. She says he’s not being held hostage. Tom apologizes, babbling that’s not how he meant it. She says it was disrespectful to her, and makes it sound like they’re not a good team. And should they make that decision in the future, it requires being a good team. In his interview, Tom translates this to mean that in ten years, he can possibly bring up having kids. He tells her that he’ll take care of the kid, and she can choose her own level of involvement, if that happens. She thinks they sound progressive.

Carter joins Katie and Stassi, who are sitting on Kristen’s bed. He says he’s proud of Stassi and Beau, and gives props to Katie on her marriage. Then he asks why they’re bad-mouthing him. Katie says they’re not. It’s what Kristen is telling them. Stassi tells him to look her in the eye, and tell her they have an awesome relationship. She says in Kristen’s texts, she always says he’s being mean to her. Carter says it wasn’t that good until recently. They had a rocky patch. Katie thinks it’s rude for them to have this conversation in Kristen’s bed. She says Kristen is upset and miserable about the way Carter treats her.

Kristen talks to Isa about venting. Carter tells Stassi and Katie that he and Kristen get in fights because the two of them are rude. In the living room, Schwartz says, it’s like Thunderdome in there. Carter tells them that they’re scary. Kristen comes in, and Stassi asks if they’re the problem in her relationship. Kristen tells Stassi not to raise her voice in her bedroom. Katie says everything she said about Carter is what she heard from Kristen. Stassi says they’re not making it up. She asks again if Kristen and Carter fight because of them. Carter says, after Kristen hangs out with them, they always get in arguments. Katie asks if she’s supposed to ignore what Kristen is telling her. Kristen says she feels like leaving her own house. In her interview, Kristen says when Schwartz and Katie went through their sh*t before the wedding, she always told them that they’ve got this. She wants them to have her back. She tells Katie that she wants them to just be there for her, not for the demise of her relationship. Katie says, some people have amnesia, and walks out.

Schwartz wonders if he should go to Katie, but the others suggest he let her deescalate. Kristen waves sage around Stassi, who can’t believe Kristen saged her. In her interview, Stassi says, Kristen has spent the first thirty-five years of her life in a blind drunken rage, helicopter punching anyone in her path. Now she’s Mahatma Gandhi? Give her a break. She tells Kristen to stop lying.

Next time, TomTom is readied for the opening, bedazzling, waxing, James DJing, Tom invites James and Raquel on the Mexico trip, and tells Katie she’s a bully.

🐣 Stassi and Katie were tonight’s guests on Watch What Happens Live. I have no idea what was in Katie’s head when she chose her outfit, but no. Just no. It looked like she was somebody’s grandma wearing a bizarre concoction made of Easter outfits from the 70s. The chunky necklace, and retro Grateful Dead tee were fine, but I did not know what to make of the purple polyester pantsuit, and the hair glitter that made her look like she had grey roots. This is the East Coast, honey. You can do better then that. Go shopping in Soho or something. Even Macy’s.

⛵ D-bag Kyle, creeper Carl, and all the other horrible five-year-old adults are back in the Summer House. Nothing has changed.

💔 I Never Knew He Was On Loving…

Although I only watched it for about five minutes when Faison did a crossover from GH. This is getting creepy. It seems like our lifespans are getting much shorter.

🐶 Don’t Like Her Much, But Love Her Dog…

We might not agree on much, but I’m with Kristen that aggressive dogs need to be leashed and/or muzzled in public spaces. I never blame the dog or a breed. Only the owner. I hope they nail this idiot.

March 1, 2019 – Lulu Starts to Remember, Yolanda’s Perfect As Is, a Smiley Baby, Spring Break This, Hexadic Quotes & a Week

Standard

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

At the hospital, Carly sees Jason walking around. She asks if he’s been released. He says, ten minutes ago, proving it by showing her the paperwork. She knows he hated staying, and did it for her. She asks if Sam is still around, but he says they had to stage a fight. Shiloh walked in, and they had to cover. Carly asks if everything is okay with him.

Robert sits with Peter. He says it could be Peter’s last meal as a free man. Peter thinks room service is a better idea. Anna joins them, and tells him, sit. They need to talk. Peter asks, about what? Robert says, dealing with his lies.

On the phone, Curtis tells Stella that Jordan is in recovery. He’ll take all the prayers she’ll give him. He gets his strength from an incredibly tough woman who raised him. Nina comes by. Curtis says she doesn’t have to be there, but she says there’s nowhere she’d rather be. They hug.

Lulu tells Maxie that security always has someone on duty. Maxie thinks she might have nightmares tonight. Lulu tells her that she can take off, but Maxie says, too late; she’s in. Felicia and Mac arrive, asking what they’re up to. Maxie says, Lulu has a project. She’s just there for moral support. Lulu is trying to get an accurate list of Ryan Chamberlain’s victims.

Chase brings Ryan to the hospital. He sent the injury report to the PCPD. Ryan says they have no time to waste on a flesh wound. Ava runs in, and asks, what’s going on? Chase says Doc sustained an injury at Ferncliff trying to stop Franco before he escaped.

Elizabeth takes the rings out of her pocket. Someone bangs on her door. It’s Franco, who stumbles in, bleeding, and I wonder how the blip he made it all the way there? Instead of screaming, today, I’m laughing. He’s one tough dude.

Peter wonders if all of Anna’s exes offer such love and support. She says, Jason was Patient Six; who were the other five subjects? Robert says Peter offered to trade information for his freedom. Peter says he didn’t lie, but Anna says he didn’t tell the truth either. He’s been in touch with Patient One. It’s her.

Carly tells Jason, clearly Sam thinks she’s going to act interested in DOD, take some classes, and eventually try to persuade Kristina to leave. There would be a chance of it working if not for Shiloh. They only met once, and she knew he was slick. He thinks he’s charming, wearing his spirituality like a bad cologne. Jason asks if Carly thinks she would have picked up on it without knowing. She does. She tells him, never let a liar with an agenda into your life or around the people you love. She thinks Sam is taking a chance. Jason says Carly and the baby are a million times more important than Shiloh. She says, only a million?

Elizabeth says, okay, she’ll help him. She runs to get towels, and tells him, stay with her. I wonder why she’s leaving the door wide open. She asks what happened, and Franco says she needs to call the police.

Ava ask Ryan if Franco did this to him. Ryan says he managed to wound Franco. He tried to stop Franco when he did this. She asks what he was thinking. He could have been the fourth victim. He wishes he’d fought harder. Chase says it’s likely he didn’t get far. Chase gets a call, and steps out of the room. Ava says she thought she and Franco were friends no matter what. It’s horrible, and she prays it’s over soon.

Mac tells Lulu to stop glorying that twisted legend, and giving his crimes new life. Felicia says, it’s okay. She’s glad see Lulu up and about. Mac says, sorry; he’s frustrated. As soon as she’s released, Lulu interviews Franco, and now she’s knee-deep in another serial killer’s story. Lulu wonders what she was doing there so late that night. Felicia asks if Doc didn’t help her. Lulu thinks called him, but she didn’t leave a message. She was trying to figure out something about a discrepancy in the number of Ryan’s victims.

Peter doesn’t know if he should be disappointed or grateful that he didn’t know. Robert thinks he was tripping them up with disinformation. Peter points out that Anna has gone from being maternal to again being his adversary. Anna says the simple truth is that she and her sister were subjects in the memory transfer study that Cabot did. Peter insists he’s never heard of Cabot. Robert calls Peter Henrik, and he says his name is Peter, and he never had any dealings with Cabot. Anna says, what about Klein? Was calling Jason Patient Six his doing or Klein’s? Peter says Klein was affiliated with the DVX, who supported his research. The research was given to Andre, and when the transfer was complete, Klein labeled the subjects. He doesn’t know who they were. He never saw their faces, Robert says Peter lied in bargaining with them. Peter says he was instructed to kill Jason, but he paid Klein to take him instead. Anna asks if Klein ever said anything about the parameters of the original study, but he says, sorry. If he could do anything… He thinks for a second, and says there may be a way to gain access to Klein’s records.

Curtis tells Nina that he’s struggling to keep it together. Nina says, real men have feelings too, and he’s the realest she knows. She asks how Jordan is, and he says, she’s in recovery, but they had to remove a kidney. The second one was damaged, but not as bad. They’re keeping close watch. Nina knows it sounds terrifying, but Jordan is strong, and has a great life ahead. Jordan loves him so much, and she’s proud of TJ. Finn joins them, and Curtis asks how his wife is; no sugarcoating. Finn says, let’s talk.

Elizabeth tells Franco, stay calm and don’t worry. The police are sure to get there any minute. She calls 911 for an ambulance.

Lulu says Ryan is known to have killed seven, but she has a vague memory of her mom saying nine. She asks if the names Deborah Jones and Suzanne Smith mean anything to Felicia, but she says, no. Ryan never mentioned them to her. Mac asks where she got them from, and Lulu says, bits and pieces are coming back. Maxie says they were talking about discrepancies, and Lulu did an internet search. Lulu says she found stories about both of their killings. They remain unsolved, and happened in the time frame Ryan was there. Maxie says, it’s probably a coincidence, but Felicia says, there are no coincidences where Ryan is concerned.

Ryan says he really didn’t want to hurt Franco; just slow him down. Chase tells him not to feel bad about doing what he had to do. He’ll nominate Ryan for a Port Charles Pioneer Award himself. Ryan imagines what that would be like. Everyone is wearing evening clothes, and crowds around him. Confetti falls, and Ava kisses him. Alone on the side, Felicia says, it could have been me. Ava says maybe the mayor will personally give him the award. Chase says she still hasn’t resurfaced; she’s still out of touch. Ava says, it’s unsettling; the mayor MIA, and the commissioner fighting for her life. She asks how Jordan is, but Chase says they won’t tell him anything. His phone rings again, and he steps out. Ava asks if Franco hurt him, and Ryan says, no. She says, good. She doesn’t want anything to distract him when he explains why he didn’t tell her that he went to Ferncliff to visit her daughter’s killer.

Finn tells Curtis that Jordan is stabilized, which is good news. They’ll be moving her to ICU. Curtis asks if he was there during surgery, and Finn says he was in the room to consult. Curtis asks if removing her kidney was the only option. Finn explains that the kidneys regulate blood pressure, and hers was spiking to dangerous levels. Curtis asks where that leaves them, and Finn says, the remaining kidney has grade two trauma. The damage isn’t as severe, but the kidney is compromised, and she needs a transplant. Curtis looks as worried as we’ve ever seen him.

Peter tells Anna that Klein consulted with Andre, so he had to have access to the records of the original study. He thinks it’s the place to start looking. Robert says, assuming they still exist. Anna says she’ll find them. She thanks Peter, and he says, always a pleasure. Anna leaves, and Robert says she may be done with Peter, but he’s not.

Carly tells Jason that Franco was arrested, and went to Ferncliff. Earlier he gave Lulu an interview that was livestreamed. Jason says she didn’t watch, did she? She says, of course not, but they had a transcript. He says she didn’t read it, and she says, of course she did, and something stuck out. Franco was bragging that he was a better murderer than Ryan Chamberlain aka Todd Wilson. Todd Wilson was the alias of the man in the room next to her. She asks if Jason thinks there’s a connection. He suggests she call Spinelli, and have him do the research, but don’t go to Ferncliff herself. She says she did before she was pregnant. Jason says everything’s changed now. Finding out isn’t worth putting her and the baby at risk.

Mac leaves to make some calls. Felicia asks Maxie, what’s going on? Maxie says she’s determined to find out why this is affecting her. Maybe she saw the hell Ryan put Felicia through. Felicia says she was just a little girl; it can’t have has that much impact. Maxie doesn’t like all the murder talk. It reminds her of Nathan. Felicia figured as much. It’s always going to be hard, but imagine how it would feel if she didn’t know what happened. Felicia thinks Lulu wants to provide closure to the families. Mac comes back in, and says he called the police chiefs in both jurisdictions. Both women had their wallets, but no driver’s licenses. Omg, this is so good.

Ava says Franco must have been Doc’s suffering patient. He had to see Franco’s grotesque bravado, and dire need for treatment, yet he chose not to tell her. Ryan says he saw the stress it caused her and wanted to err on the side of discretion. He’s a healer, and thought he could help ease Franco’s transition to Ferncliff. The staff there are also his colleagues. She says he should have told her. She blames Franco. He’s not worth healing, or living. She asks if he thinks she’s a monster, and he says she’s a goddess. She is not catching on at all.

On the phone, Chase says he’s on his way. He tells Ryan and Ava that he has a location. Ryan asks if he knows Franco’s condition. Chase says he’ll update them as he knows more. Ava supposes it would be too much to hope he bled out. Ryan says, it’s over; forget Franco. He has a way reclaim their lives. Marry him tonight.

Elizabeth tells the 911 operator Franco’s condition. She says he’s coughing up blood, and to let the police know he’s not armed; he’s not a threat. Franco tells her to listen. He didn’t kill those people. He lied.

Anna sees Finn, and asks how Jordan is. He says, stable, and she tells him it’s the most decent news she’s gotten all day. Robert came out swinging, and Peter was on the defensive. He did admit to telling them just enough information to get out of prison, but offered something new. He thinks Klein is in possession of Cabot’s notes. She needs to get her hands on those records. She has to figure out a way to track down Klein. Jason comes out of the elevator.

Curtis doesn’t know why this is happening. They just got married, and had thier whole lives ahead. Nina says Finn put her on the transplant list. She’s a member of law enforcement, and no other health concerns; she’s a  great candidate. Curtis wants to be tested, and says probably TJ will too. Nina says she can write a story and have it online in 24 hours. People will want to help. Curtis says Jordan is a private woman, but Nina says she’s the police commissioner, and it’s human interest. She tells him to keep it as an option. He appreciates her. She says people have transplants all the time, and live long, happy lives. She’ll be all right. Something will come through for her. Curtis says he’ll hold her to that, and she says she’s not going anywhere.

Franco tells Elizabeth, it wasn’t him. It was Ryan Chamberlain.

Mac says the case files fit the pattern, and he’s put them in touch with the PCPD, Felicia wonders how Laura knew Doc had a list. Lulu says she didn’t dream the names up. Maxie says before she becomes haplessly confused, it was known Ryan killed seven, but Laura saw nine names on the list? Mac wonders how Doc got them.

Ava asks Ryan how they can get married tonight. He suggests going across the border to Niagara Falls. She asks, what’s the rush? He says he stared down death today, and just before that, he was blinded, afraid he’d never see her face again. He asks her to join her life to his. He’s only half alive without her, and can’t afford to lose her. She says she’s not going anywhere, but he says there’s nothing promised. Fortunes change, and life is precious. He doesn’t want to waste another minute. Marry him tonight. She agrees, and they hug. I feel both sick and excited that both them and the kids are headed toward one of my favorite places in the world. Will they somehow collide? After all, Felicia said there were no coincidences with Ryan. Although at least if Ryan isn’t around, Franco can get the real story out.

Elizabeth tells Franco that Ryan has been dead for over twenty years. She asks him to keep his eyes open. Chase comes in, and asks if anyone else is there. Elizabeth says, no, and Franco needs help. He says, send in the paramedics.

Mac says Doc could possibly have been doing his own research. Felicia says she just called Laura, and her voicemail is full. Didn’t Lulu call Doc that night? Maybe they should go to the source. Maxie asks if Lulu didn’t question him about it when she was hypnotize, but Lulu doesn’t remember. It was awkward because of her mother. Felicia says they go way back. He’ll come clean with them.

Ava says Doc’s divorce isn’t finalized, but Ryan says he filed it as a rush this morning. The clerk is a patient. She asks if he’s blurring lines, and he says he’d do anything for her. They’re going to Niagara Falls tonight. He tells her to go home and get her passport, and pack some warm weather clothes. They’re jetting to a proper honeymoon far away from their problems. Ava says she can’t be gone long; she can’t be away from Avery. He says they’ll play it by ear. He’ll meet her back there, and he’ll be counting the minutes.

Peter tells Robert to back off. He might even jeopardize his WSB credentials. Robert says who knows what he’ll find about Peter, but Peter says he can and will defend himself. Robert says, there’s Henrik Faison, killer, and chip off the old block, which is even unfair for Robert. Peter tells Robert to show him his best shot.

Anna explains to Jason that, according to Peter, Dr. Klein was working and consulting with Andre. She’s sorry about her son’s involvement, but Jason says, it’s okay; it’s over. Finn says, maybe, but a brilliant researcher would never throw away their records. Anna asks if Jason remembers seeing anything or anyone talking about Patients One through Four. Jason says he didn’t even know his name. He just wanted to get out. She asks if he thinks it’s possible Klein is still alive.

Ava sees Carly by the elevator. She wonders if Carly is going to ask why she’s positively glowing. Carly hadn’t noticed, and Ava says, it’s true love. She and Doc are getting married, and Carly’s not invited.

Peter tells Robert that he gets it. Robert doesn’t like or trust him, and the feeling is mutual. Robert says going after him is more trouble than it’s worth. Peter says if Robert leaves him alone, he’ll reciprocate. Robert says he wouldn’t take Faison’s word, much less his. Peter says he’s not his father, but Robert says he’s worse. With Faison, you knew who he was, and he knew who he was. Peter runs around trying be a good person. The problem is, one day he’ll revert to form and implode. Robert says he has to be around when that happens to make sure the people he cares about are nowhere near the blast, and the only person taken out is him. Robert leaves, and I honestly wonder what’s gotten into him.

Anna tells Jason that Klein was last seen boarding a plane to Moscow. Did Jason disappear him? Jason tells her that Sonny let him go. Finn says, that’s that, but she says, no, it isn’t.

Lulu tells Maxie she doesn’t have to stay. She’ll be okay. Maxie says she knows what it’s like to avoid going home to an empty house. Lulu says she can’t rest. Not until she remembers everything from the night she was attacked.

Carly says Ava and Doc are eloping? Ava says he can’t wait to make her a bride, and who is she to deny his heart’s desire? She gets in the elevator, and says she’ll send pictures. The doors close. Felicia and Mac asks if she’s joking. Carly says even Ava couldn’t make that up. It’s too insane not be true.

Ryan gets his locked box from the trunk of his car. He looks at the licenses, and says he had to give up his more recent acquisitions, but he still has them. And now, he has the love of his life.

Nina tells Curtis that she’ll wait if he wants to rest or get food. He says he has phone calls to make; she can go. Nina looks in Jordan’s purse for her keys. Since he’s made it clear he’s not leaving, she’ll get him a change of clothes. She takes out the phone, and says there’s a new voicemail from urgent. Curtis takes the phone, and I tell him, please, listen to it.

Franco is taken away on a stretcher. Chase tells Elizabeth, before she goes, he needs to know what happened. Elizabeth says he showed up, bleeding from a knife wound. Chase asks if he said anything, and Elizabeth tells him that Franco said he didn’t kill them. Ryan Chamberlain did. He must have been delirious. She leaves, and Chase says, either that, or a dead man did it. Ding, ding, ding! and whatever Ryan said yesterday about that penny.

Ryan says he’ll miss his new home town, but he has to get out while the getting is good. He turns around, and Carly is there. First time I’m liking her in a long time. I don’t think she knows what’s going on, but it looks like she’ll be throwing a wrench in Ryan’s works.

On Monday, Curtis asks Chase who urgent might be, Laura thinks they’re in trouble, and Carly can’t help but notice what Ryan has in the trunk.

💭 Just a Thought…

When I see spring breakers, it makes me glad I didn’t go to college. Wall to wall, or beach to beach people, sloshing drinks on each other until blackout time does not seem like fun to me, or anything even remotely intelligent people should do. Maybe as much fun as Times Square really is on New Year’s Eve. Which is not at all. Might as well hang out at Coney Island. At least people pick up after themselves there. For he most part.

February 28, 2019 – Why Franco Why, Date Change, Chefs in Macau, New Summer & Lazy Friday

Standard

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

Now I get why they postponed this episode. Soaps In Depth explained (see below) that it was the possibility of interruption. Normally, I might think that was silly, but this episode was not to be interrupted. It was the best one in ages. I was literally screaming at my TV. On to the episode.

General Hospital

Lulu approaches her office. Maxie joins her, and says she doesn’t have to do this today, but Lulu says she has to go in there. Maxie says she had enough stress facing Franco. Lulu says she thought it would bring back more memories, but if anything, it left her with more questions. She has to go back to where it happened. She can’t shake the feeling that she missed a big part of the murders. Maxie takes her hand, and they go in.

At Charlie’s bar, Ava reads the interview on her phone. Scotty says, not her too. The whole town is buzzing about the interview Lulu did with The Invader. Ava says, they also provided a transcript, and Scotty says, they were thorough. He asks how many times she’s going to read it. She says she’s reading it until it makes sense. She was willing to believe him, but he’s saying his vision was genius. Maybe it was Franco who killed Kiki.

At one of the tables, Cameron reads out loud from the interview. Josslyn tells him, don’t do this to himself. He says he’s just getting to the good part. Oscar takes Cameron’s phone away. Cameron says at least he knows he was right. Franco never cared abut them, and was using them as a cover. Josslyn says she’s sorry. Cameron is glad Lulu did the interview. Now the entire world knows Franco is a killer.

Drew visits Elizabeth, who asks if he shouldn’t be resting. He says it was just minor surgery, and Elizabeth asks if there’s any word on Jordan. He says, no. Her head and spine weren’t injured, but she has internal injuries. Elizabeth says she’s tough; she’ll pull through. Drew doesn’t know how he’ll live with himself if she doesn’t. Elizabeth says he had no control, but he says he was behind the wheel. He’s there because he was hoping to help her. He heard about the interview. He hugs her.

Ryan asks Franco, what’s gotten into him? Between pleading guilty and that spectacle of an interview, his life as he knew it is over. He’s throwing it away on a lie. Franco says, the truth will come out sooner or later, and Ryan asks who the hell does he think he is?

Elizabeth suggests making tea. She tells Drew that The Invader posted a transcript of the interview. Franco sounded like a stranger. She kept waiting for a mistake, the revelation that he pled guilty for a reason. She still believes in him. Drew says he does too. That’s why he brought back the rings. He tells her, relax; he can handle tea. Maybe. Elizabeth says she’s a mess, It didn’t matter who warned her. She wouldn’t listen. Drew says no one blames her. She says it’s not just about her. She hates the attention on her kids. How is she supposed to ask them to keep believing in Franco? How is she supposed to?

Scotty says Ava can’t possibly think Franco killed Kiki. She says, he said he did. He bragged that she was too beautiful not to kill. Scotty doesn’t know why he said it. Ava says he was proud of himself, and how Ryan Chamberlain’s murders paled in comparison. Scotty says, it doesn’t make sense. He adored Kiki. He was there, and saw the agony on Franco’s face. It was not the face of a murderer. She says he fooled them both, and a lot of other people. Scotty says, he didn’t do it. She says, it takes time to process. She’s still in shock, and thought she’d be angrier. Doc is.

Franco tells Ryan that he’d be mad too if someone fooled him that badly. He actually thought he’d healed Franco – the great Doctor Collins. Ryan says he didn’t kill them. He doesn’t have it in him. Franco thinks the victims would disagree. It was sad that he couldn’t finish Lulu. Ryan says Franco eradicated the urge to kill, and Franco says Doc is bitter. He’s supposed to be an expert. Ryan says he doesn’t know the purpose of this charade, but knows Franco didn’t kill them. Franco says he understands. Doc just can’t get it. It’s okay; it’s over his head. Ryan asks why he’s taking credit. Was he that starved for attention? He needed eyes glued on him? Franco wonders why it bothers Doc that he’s wrong. Ryan has never been more certain. He’s Franco’s psychiatrist. He tells Franco that he’s protected by doctor/patient confidentiality. Franco says Doc is saying that now, but he sold him out, and told Franco’s deepest secrets. Ryan says he had no choice. Let him make it up by doing what should have done in the first place. He’ll listen. Franco says, too late. Ryan says he won’t even take notes. It will stay between them. Franco says, that went so well the last time.

Oscar says it will be good to get away from the drama. Cameron says his mom wouldn’t notice if he drove to Florida. Franco pled guilty in court, and she still won’t believe it. Oscar says, she’s probably in denial, and Cameron says, last night, she told his brothers that Franco was innocent, and they believed her. He admitted to playing her. He’s done fighting, and can’t pretend he’s okay with it. He has to get away. Trina comes in, and says, not without her. If they’re doing a road trip, they’re doing it right.

Scotty tells Ava that Doc didn’t do Franco any favors. She says he did his best to treat him. It’s not his fault Franco is beyond help. Scotty says, Doc is a quack with a God complex. Ava says, he’s supportive and wonderful. She doesn’t know what she would have done without him. Scotty wonders when Doc is going to kick her to the curb like Laura. She tells him Doc proposed, and shows him the ring.

Ryan tells Franco it’s his last chance to save himself; don’t waste it. Franco says he knows what he’s doing. Ryan tells him, admit he’s lying. Fess up, or he’ll spend the rest of his life in Pentonville, probably in solitary. Franco says he and Jordan are working together. I yell, noooo!

Maxie asks Lulu if memories are coming back. Lulu says none she wants coming back. Like how she escaped. Franco said he designed it that way, wanting her to bleed out in the elevator, but that doesn’t feel like what happened. Maxie suggests he’s spinning his own mistake. Lulu says she’s never regretted not going to a book launch so much. Maxie says she should be proud. She survived for a reason. Franco was caught. It could have been worse. He could have killed as many as Ryan did. Lulu remembers looking up how many women Ryan killed. Maxie asks, what’s wrong?

Ryan says, the commissioner is in on it? Franco tells him that she said it would work if it was kept just between them, but it won’t work if he lets anyone know. Ryan says if Franco tells him, he’ll leave like nothing happened. He won’t interfere with the plans. Franco says he didn’t even tell Elizabeth. Ryan says, let him shoulder some of the burden. He promises if Franco talks to him, he’ll feel better. Franco says Doc knows he didn’t kill them, and Ryan says of course he does. Why say he did? Franco says, Jordan thinks the killer will take the bait. If he takes credit, the killer will reveal himself. He thinks things are going as planned. He’s taking the credit, and there’s no way the killer wants that. Ryan tells him, go one. What happens when the killer seeks him out. Franco says he has a phone, and shows Ryan. By now, I’m practically hopping out of my chair, yelling, why are you doing this?! Ryan asks if Franco doesn’t feel better, and slips a knife into his hand from his pocket or sleeve or wherever he had it hidden. Franco says if he can get justice for Kiki, it will be worth it. He says, this situation is going to kill him, and Ryan says he can see that. No, it’s going to kill me. Isn’t Franco smarter than this?

Scotty says Ava doesn’t waste time, but she says, why should they? He says she’s only been seeing him a couple of months. She says someone might say she’s jumping the gun, but what does it matter if they’re happy? Life is short. Scotty says, yes; too short to make a blunder. He’s concerned, but she says she doesn’t need it. She’s not denying herself the love and happiness she deserves. She asks Scotty to please put his history with Doc aside. Their relationship has completely changed her life. He’s taught her about real love; genuine and selfless. He’d do anything for her, and her for him. She’s never experienced that. If Scotty is her friend, he’ll feel happy for her, or at least try. He says, nothing in this crazy world is making sense.

Oscar asks Trina what she means by, do it right? She asks where they’re stopping at, where are they eating, and what’s the budget? Cameron never saw her practical side, and she says it’s a gift. She’s amazing with scheduling. It stops problems before they happen. Cameron says she has a point, but all the planning in the world couldn’t stop his mom from marrying Franco.

Elizabeth reads from the interview about how Franco took care with the lighting and juxtaposition. and when he gave Kiki’s eulogy, everyone ate it with a spoon. She was too beautiful not to kill. Drew tells her, stop. None of this makes sense. Franco loved Kiki. He would never hurt her. Why say he did?

Franco – who I would love to gag right now because he won’t stop talking – tells Ryan that Jordan believed if he did the interview, the killer would make a mistake, and she’d be ready and waiting. Ryan says the killer doesn’t strike him as the type to make mistakes. Franco says, he screwed up killing Lulu, but Ryan says, maybe there were extenuating circumstances. Franco says, maybe he’s not too bright. Ryan says, bright enough to evade the police so far. He asks if Franco realizes, if the real killer catches on, it’s likely he’ll kill again, starting with him. Franco says he thought Doc was supposed to make him feel better. Ryan says he’s worried about Franco’s safety. He doesn’t think the plan will work, especially given Jordan’s circumstances. She was in a terrible car accident. Franco asks if she’s all right, and Ryan asks who’s going to answer if the real killer shows up looking to do him in. Franco says it’s all Doc’s fault. What the hell happened? When Lulu went to see him, she didn’t remember anything. When she came to, she was convinced the killer was him. Doc needs to fix it; fix his mistake. Ryan laughs. He says for someone considered so brilliant, Franco is slow on the uptake. Franco is like, huh? and Ryan says he doesn’t make mistakes. He did this perfectly.

Cameron says the point of the trip is to have fun, and see the wonders of nature. It wouldn’t hurt to plan as far as budget goes. They’re about to pool their money, but Josslyn tells them, keep it. The trip is going to be paid for courtesy of the adventure fund.

Scotty tells Ava about all the people he’s lost. Gail was more than a stepmom. He married too young, and she became his mother when his real mother passed away. Ava is sorry for his loss. He says he bets she is. She knows anger makes you lash out, and hopes he calls her to get together soon. She’d like hear about Gail. He asks, why not now? She promises she’ll work on being a better friend, but she needs to check on Doc.

Lulu remembers why she was late. She was confused about the number of Ryan’s victims. Maxie tells her, it says seven online, but Lulu says, something doesn’t sound right. She flashes back to saying the names, and putting one in the Spyder-Finder search engine.

Ryan says Franco doesn’t get it. So disappointing. Franco is worried about him, and tells him to get some rest. He’s calling Jordan. Ryan says he told Franco that she’s unconscious. He says, Franco, and when Franco turns around, Ryan stabs him. Now, I’m nearly crying with frustration.

Elizabeth reads to Drew about Franco saying he pushed his brother down the stairs, but it was a shame he lived. He got better with time. Drew says they know that’s not true. Franco tried to save him. Why lie, when it makes him look guiltier?

Franco says, why? Ryan says, because he can’t let a has-been like Franco take credit for his work. It’s been him all along. Franco says, Kevin? and Ryan says, close. One more try. Franco says, Ryan? and Ryan says, ding-ding-ding! Finally the penny drops. He wanted to reveal it sooner. He’d admired Franco’s work, but when he took out the tumor, his talent went with it. The good news is, at least he’ll die. There’s no shame in being murdered by a master. Franco yells for help. Ryan cuts himself on the palm of his hand, and says he doesn’t recall it hurting as much when Felicia stabbed him. It’s the price we pay to achieve art. He asks if Franco is ready to finish, and inches closer.

Josslyn explains, adventure is a family tradition. Her father told her, mountains are there to be climbed whenever possible. He believes in leaving no trace; let the wild stay wild. He set up a special account for when life takes her unexpected places that you never know if you can visit again. You have to take advantage of what’s in front of you. Oscar asks if her mom knows about the fund, but she says it’s strictly a Jax thing. He set up when her grandmother, Lady Jane died. She grew up in the outback, and you name it, she could do it. She said, with grit and imagination, anything is possible, but money always helps. She doesn’t use the money for anything ordinary, but unexpected opportunities. Cameron asks if Niagara Falls qualifies. Josslyn says her father wants her to choose her own adventures. It’s up to her, and she chooses this one.

Lulu tells Maxie, bits and pieces are coming back. She remembers saying Deborah Jones. Maxie says, take it from her, Jones is a common name. There could be thousands. Lulu says she can narrow it down by finding out if there are any victims of homicide by that name. Maxie wonders if they should take it to the police, but Lulu says not until they have more than a name. Maxie says, Lulu was traumatized. Maybe it’s random. Lulu says she’s almost positive it’s connected to her research on Ryan.

Elizabeth tells Drew maybe Franco thought it made the interview more interesting, but he says, what if he was sending a message. Elizabeth says, how so? He says, besides Doc, they’re the only ones who know about the abuse Franco suffered as a child. Elizabeth says, and they know he’s lying. Drew says, maybe he was trying to tell them something. He doesn’t know what yet, but feels they need to trust him.

Franco tries to inch away from Ryan. Ryan says, Jordan’s plan was a fool’s plan. Look where it led him. Franco says he doesn’t want do this, but Ryan says he does, and thanks him for making it easy. Surprising us all, Nurse Kay walks in. Ryan says, thank God, and Franco tells her Doc stabbed him. Ryan says, it was in self-defense. Run and get help! She jets, and Franco yells, he’s not Dr. Collins! When Ryan turns back to the room, somehow Franco has gotten himself up. He punches Ryan, gets the knife, and locks him in. Franco stumbles down the hall, and Ryan yells that he doesn’t  make mistakes.

Josslyn says, now that they’re in agreement that the trip is covered, are they in? They are. Oscar thanks Cameron for driving. Cameron is glad to, especially since he’s not paying for gas. Josslyn tells them she brought extra jackets and supplies. Oscar doesn’t know if they’ll make it in time for Cameron’s curfew, but Cameron doesn’t care if he ever makes it back home.

Ava goes to Doc’s office, but his assistant hasn’t heard from him in a while, and he has no patients on his schedule.

Lulu tells Maxie that Deborah Jones was a homicide victim in Texas at the time Ryan was living there. She was stabbed, and the murder was never solved; it’s a cold case. Maxie says, creepy. Lulu goes over the known list of Ryan’s victims. Maxie says, there are seven, but Lulu says if she adds Deborah and Suzanne Smith, there are nine. She remembers saying Suzanne’s name, but she can’t remember who she was talking to. Her mom said there were nine. She saw nine on a list in Doc’s office. Maxie suggests calling Laura, but Lulu says she’s been trying all afternoon, and gotten voicemail. Maxie wonders how Doc would know the names. Lulu says, when the police don’t. Something is very wrong.

Drew asks Elizabeth if she thinks Franco is protecting someone. Elizabeth says, by throwing his life away? He asks if she still thinks he’s innocent, and she says, doesn’t he? He says, yeah, but she has more of a stake in it. She says she still has faith regardless of the interview. So does Drew. He says it’s going to be okay. It’s got to be. He tells her if she needs anything, he’ll be right over. He leaves, and she takes the rings out of her pocket.

Kay comes back and asks, where’s Franco? Ryan says Franco attacked him again, and took off. Secure all the exits. They can’t let him get away.

Alarms go off, and Franco runs as best he can. He leans against a wall, and dials the phone. He leaves a message telling Jordan her plan worked. The killer is Ryan Chamberlain. He keeps moving, and goes out another door. I’m thinking he’s going to end up in the basement.

Crap, this was too much for me. lol

Tomorrow, Anna and Robert tell Peter that they need to talk about his lies, Felicia says there are no coincidences where Ryan is concerned, and Jason tells Carly finding out isn’t worth putting her and her baby at risk.

🚦Why They Skipped a Day…

https://www.abc.soapsindepth.com/posts/general-hospital-preempted-february-27-169804

🔪 This week on Top Chef, the contestants traveled to Chinese territory, Macau, where Graham Elliot has a restaurant. The first order of business – besides checking into the glamorous hotel – was a tour of the Red Market, which carries probably everything your heart could desire and more. Seeing the markets is always a highlight of these shows for me. Graham picked up several kinds of fresh fish – and by fresh, I mean it was moving two seconds before he bought it – to be used in the Quickfire challenge. The chefs were to create a dish inspired by the market. They had 45 minutes, and the equivalent of $25 to do it. Michelle, who was back from Last Chance Kitchen, was the winner with cuttlefish.

The elimination challenge saw the chefs catering a Chinese New Year party at the Macau MGM Hotel for two hundred people. Each chef chose a sous chef (also a former contestant), who came with a tray of ingredients representing a new year wish, such as prosperity and longevity, that were a requirement for the dish they would help with. The chefs did get a bit of respite, sitting down for a fancy dinner at Graham’s restaurant before the big day. Sara tried to make some grits option using cauliflower which got a huge no from Tom, since cauliflower does not grits make. I knew exactly what he meant, since cauliflower rice ain’t rice either. Kelsey won, and Adrian packed her knives, because her dish was predictable and lacked flavor. She went for the one perfect bite, but I guess it wasn’t. And at this point, no Last Chance Kitchen for you. She said there wasn’t much she regretted, but she wasn’t sure where she was headed after this. Next time, some stinky, spiky fruit.

⛵ Summer House will return on Monday, March 4th at 10 pm. Oh yay. (That was sarcasm.)

🎶 Because It Never Gets Old…

Okay, it got old a while ago, but I’m tired and lazy right now, and it’s not that awful.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Was an encore episode today. I have no clue why. It took me a moment, but when I saw Franco and Kiki, I didn’t think he was out of Ferncliff and she was back from the dead. Had this been Port Charles, maybe.

So, moving on… or really, back…

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Destination: New Providence Island, Bahamas. In the limo to the hotel, Dorit suggests drinks on her terrace this evening. LVP says wouldn’t that be their terrace. LisaR thinks the hotel is Bohemian in a grand way. Everyone gets their own personal butler, and the suites are amazing. Erika’s glam squad meets her in hers. She says everyone else is too cheap to bring a glam squad because I guess it doesn’t occur to her maybe they don’t want a bunch of people waiting to pounce on them with glam tools at all times.

Dorit asks LVP if she’s happy they’re friends. LVP says right now, she’s reaping the benefits, but doesn’t know if it will last. Dorit says she’s being negative on this very positive trip. In her interview, Dorit doesn’t know what’s going on, but maybe LVP is holding a grudge about the dog even though she thought they were past it. LVP says she’s grateful to be there and have a few days respite.

Denise asks LisaR if dress is casual, but LisaR says, with these girls, it’s probably dressier, but she can wear what she wants. Teddi and Kyle have some food in their suite. Teddi says Cruz and Jagger connecting is huge, but when they disagree, Dorit won’t admit she’s wrong. Kyle says she was wrong once, and it was the worst day. Ha-ha! That was pretty funny. I’ll have to remember it.

Dorit thinks this is a good opportunity for her and LVP to connect and be together. In Dorit’s interview, she says the death of LVP’s brother has taken a profound toll, and she wants to be there for her. LVP says it’s been an exhausting few months. In her interview, Kyle says she loves LVP, and thinks she’s been through a lot. She tells Teddi that she doesn’t think LVP is over the dog thing, and Teddi is hoping they can have a real conversation, because if they start jabbing, someone might explode.

Dorit gets her hair done by her stylist, who she wasn’t too cheap to bring along. LVP thinks Dorit looks like her dog Schnookie. Now that she mentions it… LisaR arrives first. There’s a whole bar set up on the terrace with two bartenders. Erika is next, along with her 70” ponytail hair piece. Denise shows up in a tank and shorts. In her interview, she says she wasn’t expecting fancy. She packed the wrong sh*t, and learned quickly. Dorit says she’s booked an island for the next day. LVP and Kyle talk away from the others. LVP tells Kyle that she feels strange, and talks about appreciating what you have when you see how quickly you can lose it. In Kyle’s interview, she says LVP is having ups and downs, and is very emotional. She’s not the LVP Kyle knows. LVP says she looks back, and doesn’t remember one thing she argued with her brother about. In her interview, Kyle says her relationship with Kim is strained, but they’re talking. She’s still estranged from Kathy. LVP thinks they should celebrate life, family, and friends when they get a chance, and encourages Kyle to make up with her sister.

Teddi tells them when she was a kid, she used to tell the other kids she was adopted. I understand this. I would have done it too, but unfortunately, my family members all look way too much alike. Denise says she embarrasses her kids on a regular basis. LisaR joins LVP and Kyle. LVP says they were talking about life and its challenges. It’s why they drink. Butler Elvis is bringing his cat for LVP to cuddle with tonight. Kyle says she should find out if Dorit is allergic, but maybe she’s just allergic to dogs. LVP refuses to talk about it. In her interview, LVP says, bringing it up is just stirring the sh*t. The dog sh*t. She doesn’t believe there was any malintent on Dorit’s part.

Denise checks on her kids, but knows the girls are safe with Aaron. He’ll get them to school on time and feed them. LisaR sniffs around for the dog fiasco information, no pun intended. Teddi gives her a capsulized version. LisaR asks what part she’s playing. LVP gave her the information, but doesn’t want take responsibility. She set them up. In LisaR’s interview, she says, it’s a set up to make Dorit look bad. LVP wants to punish her about the dog. She can’t do it, so she’s having them do it, and she’ll say it’s not her fault. If she’d just asked Dorit why, and said she was mad, it would have been done. Now, it’s like high school. In her interview, Teddi thought her relationship with LVP was good, but no one likes to be set up or lied to. Kyle doesn’t want to rock the boat, which is what she’s best at.

They set off for the private island, Long Cay. Dorit says they can go swimming, have a massage, and own the Bahamas. We find out it’s where Denise did her Playboy shoot. That time, she brought her parents and daughter, so this trip is very different. Yet another butler welcomes them. Dorit says, nothing but the best and first class. If you’re going to do it, do it right. Said by a rich person who can’t fathom just doing it any way you can. LVP and Denise get a massage. The others hang out on the beach. Everyone freaks over a jellyfish. Erika tells them, no one got bit; quit ruining her vacation.

LVP thinks it’s great that Denise’s adopted daughter is close to her sisters. Denise is glad she adopted her. LVP talks about Max having had a lot of questions just a few years ago. In her interview, Denise says after the divorce, she decided to adopt. She tells LVP it’s difficult on playdates because her daughter can only say a few words. A chromosome disorder is causing delays. LVP says it must be rewarding, but challenging. Since Denise’s mom passed away (sadly, at 53) before the adoption happened, Denise knew her mom would send her the right son or daughter. Denise wonders if they should join the others. LVP says the others are quiet, and it’s making her nervous.

They find the ladies drinking on the sandbar. Denise goes into the water, while LVP stays on the beach. After a while, she says mommy wants them to get out so she can dry them off for lunch. A beautiful lunch under a gazebo. I guess she’s gone back to being a huge sh*t stirrer, since LisaR claims that Dorit told her whatever needs to be said will be taken care of at lunch, and Dorit looks a little surprised. In her interview, her excuse is that there is stuff not being said. So I guess it’s her job to fix that. She’s really starting to irritate me. Kyle says she’s having a good time. LisaR says she can go either way. I guess it depends on which way the sh*t is being stirred, and if it’s her stirring it. Camille thinks they can move forward. Dorit says she and Teddi have their differences, but their children bonded, so she feels better about the situation. Teddi agrees. Erika says she’s having a great time, and LVP is happy to be among friends who are supportive, but it’s making her emotional. In LVP’s interview, she tells us that Erika sent her a couple of lines of condolence after her brother died, but she wishes Erika had called. Erika thought it was the best way to convey her sympathy, but LVP felt she was distant. Erika says she’s sorry LVP feels that way, but it wasn’t her heart. In her interview, Erika says that when LVP’s brother passed away, she wasn’t comfortable calling, so she wrote it out. She’s never known anyone who felt a condolence note wasn’t good enough. She tells LVP, sorry it wasn’t good enough for her. In LisaR’s interview, she wonders who criticizes a sympathy card, but no one teaches you how to go through the grieving process. Oh gee, thanks for the slack. At this point, I just wish they’d get off LVP’s jock. LVP suggests they move on. Erika says, don’t bring it up again, and they can, but she’ll defend herself to the effing bone. She tells LVP, don’t make her out to be the bad guy. In her interview, Erika says if LVP thought she was cold before, hell has now frozen over. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m sick or what, but I’m disliking a lot of these women tonight.

Erika says she would have loved to connect with LVP privately, but here they are. Then this same genius says LVP seems sad. Seriously, did she lose a few marbles in the water or is that ponytail too tight? She says she thought LVP would want peace and quiet. In LVP’s interview, she says the other ladies sent flowers, and she’d hoped she and Erika were closer than that and could have talked. Kyle thinks LVP is brave, and supports her. LVP gets weepy, and tells them to stop. She just wants to enjoy the moment. She says she loves Erika, and Erika did nothing wrong. Denise – who’s about ready to ask, how about them Mets? – thanks Dorit for inviting her. Erika wants Denise to give her a Bond girl moment. In her interview, Denise says she didn’t come out of the water, but should have; it would have been a sexy shot. She gets in, and they take a video of her walking onto the beach. After that, it’s time to go back.

LVP feels like an idiot, being emotional. Denise is sweating bullets over what to wear. Kyle helps Teddi put lashes on. LisaR says her butler had a bubble bath with rose petals ready for her. She doesn’t understand what happened with Erika, so Erika shows her a copy of the sympathy note, saying it’s always important to have an insurance policy when dealing with someone slippery. She knew there would be an issue. Funny how LisaR keeps saying she doesn’t understand and needs to know, and then faults LVP because the people she’s pumping for information give it to her.

The ladies go to a restaurant for dinner. They discuss names, and Kyle explains she was named after football player Kyle Rote. Her parents thought they were having a boy. Teddi says she was supposed to be Baby Doll. It was that or Teddi Joe. Since her father was thankfully on the road, her mother chose Teddi. Seriously, John Mellencamp? You would name your girl child Baby Doll and subject them to a life of ridicule? And which Baby Doll would this be? The one from the Tennessee Williams’ play or Suckerpunch? Kyle is feeling weird because of the conversations about the dog. Dorit says she thought she and LVP resolved it. Teddi tells her about John prancing the dog out when she and Kyle were at Vanderpump Dogs. In Teddi’s interview, she says she and John have a relationship, and thinks he was told to tell her about it. She thinks it’s a pattern. LVP likes to make her friends look bad, but keep her hands clean. Kyle thinks LVP should have protected Dorit, but can’t control her employees. If Dorit had handled it properly in the first place, there wouldn’t be this scene. Dorit claims she thought the dog was going to a wonderful home, and makes sure to remind everyone that it bit her kids. Denise can’t follow this at all, and has no idea what thee bitches are talking about. I might note, she does not dig for any further information either, because she knows it’s not her business. LVP says the dog ended up in a shelter, but Erika says Dorit didn’t give it to the shelter. No one said she did, but she was supposed to contact LVP first before the dog went anywhere, and that’s the bottom line. Most breeders also have that in the contract. Should you no longer be able to care for the dog, they reserve the right for the dog to be returned to them. It’s honestly a wonder some of these women got to where they are, since they’re such idiots. LisaR says the information would be out there if LVP didn’t want it to be. It sounds like a set up. LisaR is worried about LVP; she’s slipping. LVP says she doesn’t believe for a second that Dorit is guilty of giving the dog to the shelter. She thought it would be okay, but should have given it to her. Dorit gets emotional, and LisaR hugs her. LVP asks why she’s upset, and the ladies gather around Dorit because we’re five. In her interview, Kyle says she loves LVP, but thinks she wants to punish Dorit and protect their relationship at the same time. Her employee shouldn’t have said anything. LVP agrees with that, but didn’t know Teddi would be gossiping. Teddi tells her not to turn it around. It’s how they were told. Dorit says it’s like there was an agenda. Teddi says she doesn’t want to be a scapegoat. In her interview, LVP says they don’t know WTF they’re talking about. She’s annoyed that her integrity is being questioned, and would rather have stayed home and gotten a root canal. Maybe Teddi’s parents should have gone with just Baby, since she wants to call it a night, and leaves the table.

I’m seriously steamed about this dog debacle. Not at Dorit, and not at LVP, who can do no wrong, but occasionally has a slip. It’s with Teddi, Kyle, and LisaR, who seem to be the ones keeping it going. Maybe John – who, it was made clear, was very pissed about this – should have kept his opinion to himself, but there were a few things Teddi could have done. One was tell him to keep it to himself. Why did she listen in the first place? Obviously she was interested, so barring that, she could have kept her opinion to herself. Ditto Kyle, who even keeps making jokes about it. But the worst one of all is the Wicked Witch of Rinna, gleefully rubbing her hands in the background as she stirs the pot. Even if LVP’s idea was for the other two to get the information out there, do they not have minds of their own? Teddi, Kyle, dudes, no one held a gun to your heads, making you listen or pass anything along. So if anyone is paving the way for a problem with Dorit, it’s you. I’m sure LisaR would say that’s exactly what LVP wants me to think, but again, these chicks aren’t five, fifteen, or even close to twenty-five. If it’s that easy to manipulate them, I’d like a signed blank check please.

Next time, snorkeling, spinning, Teddi insists LVP gave instructions to John, and Ken shows LVP some incriminating texts.

💃 I also watched Mexican Dynasties last night. I’m already in love with the chihuahua, whose name is Taco or Nacho or something (Sancho? Fred?), but my jury is still out on the people. I don’t mind how colorful, loud, and out there they are – hell, that’s why I was watching – but I got that we’re better than you vibe, which is a no for me, so we’ll see.

🍷 On Part Two of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion, we started with Teresa grabbing Andy’s cards to throw them at Jackie, but Andy grabbing them back. Too bad. Although even funnier was Jackie reminding Teresa that she was on parole, to which Teresa responded by calling Jackie a white trash bitch. Jackie also talked about her parents having been on house arrest, but not together. Apparently, they would have been at each other’s throats. This actually left me with more questions than answers. New girl Jennifer’s opulence was discussed, and she might have sixteen bathrooms, but we found out she only has one that’s her go-to. Literally. We also discovered there are ways to find out if the shoe fits before a Turkish arranged marriage, although Jennifer felt it was all in the kiss anyway, and I agree. Andy actually used the word canoodling when referring to tabloid articles about Teresa stepping out on Joe #1. Melissa still hasn’t found another sister, and Teresa griped that Melissa had a sister there already, and was sitting on the wrong side of the couch. Like she made the seating arrangements. This caused Melissa to eventually say, no wonder she was looking for another sister; she needs back-up. What it really looks like is that Teresa is jealous of her relationship with Jackie.

Delores had a moment of honesty when she said Teresa was still stewing about what Jackie had said about Joe #1. Joe #2 joined the group, and was the voice of reason to no avail. There was a Memory Lane of clips with Juicy Joe and the family. Even I feel bad about the kids. Teresa hoped it wasn’t a decision she’d have to make, but admitted she wasn’t moving her kids to another country if Joe was deported. On Watch What Happens Live, Andy claimed he was shocked to hear it, but I wasn’t. I never once thought she was hauling ass to Italy. I’m more shocked (and sad) that I don’t like Teresa very much anymore. For someone who has been through so much and accomplished so much, she’s even hostile about a compliment or a joke. Maybe Joe #2’s suggestion that she use that thing in her drawer (i.e. the Rabbit) more often is a good one. Next time, the other guys and Danielle join the group.

⚠ Best line of the night, said by Joe #2: Shut up both of you; stick a knife in my effin’ eye.

🗽 Next Wednesday, March 6th, The Real Housewives of New York City will begin their new season at 9 pm.

February 26, 2019 – Franco Does His Interview, David Asks Veronica to Try Again, Beverly Hills Postponement & Something Happy

Standard

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Chase calls Lulu, and asks if she’s heard from her mother Lulu says she’s tied up in a meeting, so the mayor’s office might know. He says he tried that, and Lulu asks if she should be worried. He says, no, and she tells him to keep her posted. Peter asks Lulu if everything is okay, and she tells him, city hall seems to have misplaced her mother. He asks if she wants to postpone the interview, but she says, no. She’s sure the city is on it. He says she doesn’t have to do it, but she says Franco killed three innocent people and attacked her. She damn well wants to find out why.

Ryan has Laura’s phone, and listens to the message from Chase, asking her to check in with the PCPD. Ryan says, happy hunting, and goes into Charlie’s. Ava is at the bar, and he hopes he didn’t keep her waiting. She says she’s waited her whole life for a man like him. What’s a couple more minutes. They kiss. Julian watches from a distance.

Franco is put in leg irons.

TJ goes to Jordan’s room, and Curtis says his mom had emergency surgery. Her blood pressure spiked because of the damaged kidney.

At their session, Neil tells Alexis she’s been candid and articulate about her history with dangerous men. She says she can’t lie; it’s public record. He asks if she wants to lie, and she says, yes. She’s embarrassed about her choices. He says they touched on how she shares traits with her father. Theories suggest that our choices reflect what we see inside ourselves, and we’re attracted to it. He says just for fun, what makes her dangerous?

Jason looks at Sam in a way you just know he’s sending her brain waves. Sam cracks him across the face, turns, and sees Shiloh. Nice ESP move. She asks, what’s wrong with him? She told him over and over, it’s done. Accept it. She tells Shiloh he shouldn’t witness this, but he says he needs to help Jason. Jason says, Sam seriously isn’t buying this guy?Kristina looks in, and asks if everything is okay. Sam tells Jason that, aside from Sonny, they have nothing to do with each other. Accept it. Sam wants to talk to Kristina.

Alexis tells Neil that she’s a lawyer and mother. She doesn’t see herself as dangerous. He says she grew up in a home where violence was the trade. He asks if anyone has feared for their life in her presence. She asks, how much time does he have?

Ava wants to tell her brother the big news that she and Doc are together. She thinks Kiki would be happy that she’s placing her trust in the right man. Ryan says, on that note… and opens a ring box. He puts a giant, teardrop-shaped sparkler on her finger, saying she’s his soulmate. He’s spent a lifetime looking for her, and he’s not letting her go. They kiss. Chase comes in, and says he’s been trying to reach Doc. Ryan says he’s in a private moment, but Chase says, it can’t wait. He’s wondering when was the last time he saw his wife. Ava says, ex-wife. Chase didn’t realize the divorce was finalized. He asks Julian if the mayor has been in lately. Ava says Doc doesn’t know where his former wife is, because he’s focusing on his soon-to-be wife.

Peter tells Franco, here are the rules. Franco says he doesn’t like rules. Peter tells him, while they’re live streaming, he’s to speak when he’s spoken to. No playful banter. If he evades or goes off-point, they’re done. Is he clear? Franco says, crystal.

Sam tells Kristina that she knows it seems to be coming out of nowhere. Kristina is surprised Sam and Jason are breaking up, and Sam says, so was she. She thought they’d be ending up together, but spending time at DOD gave her clarity. Jason never put her first. From the beginning, she lived by his terms. She had to be there when he wanted, but when she needed him, he’d always be going off. Kristina says he would put Carly before her and the kids. Sam says going down that road leaves her broken, and she’s not doing it again.

Shiloh is glad Jason’s sight is restored. Maybe now he can see the truth. Sam wants to move on. Let her go.

Molly brings Curtis some food. The doctor comes out, and explains the damaged left kidney was causing the spike, and had to be removed. Curtis asks if there were no other options, but TJ says people function with one all the time. The doctor says her recovery requires constant supervision, and asks if he has questions. Curtis says his head is spinning, and TJ says he’ll take it from here. He tells Curtis that Jordan is in good hands. She made it through surgery, which is huge. Curtis says, she’s not out of the woods yet, is she? TJ says. she will be.

Alexis doesn’t think she’s a dangerous person. Neil says, if he asked others, would they think so? She says, they’re dead. She ran over her daughter’s ex with a car, but it was at night, and he popped out of nowhere. Neil says, so it was an accident? and she says, not like it was the first time. She was accused of stabbing a man, and throwing him off a balcony, but he ran into her knife, and accidentally fell over the balcony. He’s surprised no one has recognized the pattern. Nothing is ever her fault.

Ryan understands why Chase would have no knowledge of his divorce being finalized. Chase asks where and when it was finalized, and Ryan says it’s none of his business.

Ava tells Julian that Doc loves her for her, without reservation. Julian is concerned she’s jumping into marriage too soon, but she asks him, please be happy for her.

Ryan tells Chase that Laura would disappear for months during their marriage. Chase says that was to be with her grandson; he knew where she was. Ryan insists they went for days without speaking, and says, she’ll surface when she’s ready.

Ava looks at the TV, and says, oh my God. A live interview. Lulu says Franco is going to explain why he killed his victims, and Ryan makes a frowny face.

Lulu says they’re streaming live from Ferncliff, known for housing the criminally insane. She’s been invited by Franco Baldwin, who recently confessed to the murders of Kiki Jerome, Mary Pat Ingles, and Peyton Manning, and the attack on her own life. She asks why he’s owning up to it now? He asks why he shouldn’t take well-deserved credit.

Chase continues trying to get ahold of Laura.

Julian asks if Ava is okay. She says, no. She believed in Franco, and defended him. She asks Ryan, if it’s possible she could have been trusting Kiki’s killer all this time.

Alexis tells Neil, horrific things keep happening to her. Now it’s her fault? He thinks it’s like being struck by lightning twice; three times. She survived, and her family is a mess, but she’s not? How does being struck three times have nothing do with her, when she’s standing in a rainstorm with a metal rod? He says, time’s up. Ha-ha! Everyone who’s been in therapy, knows how Alexis feels right now. He says they’ll have to leave everything until the next session. She says he’s leaving her in an uncomfortable place. He says maybe that’s where she needs to be.

Ryan steps aside, and texts Chase from Laura’s phone.

Lulu says after Franco’s brain tumor was removed, he was on the path to redemption. He got a job at the hospital, became engaged to a nurse, and the father to her three sons. He asks if that’s a question. Lulu says he had everything, and threw it away to murder. Why it was so easy? He says everyone bought the reform story, so he had the time and space to explore his creative vision. She says he talks like the murders were works of art. He says they were all works of art. The head in the apple barrel, the body at the art gallery, the body being part of the snowman display. And his favorite, the girl in the wedding bed. How could he not love that? She says Kiki was supposedly like a daughter. He says, at her funeral, people at it up with a spoon. She was too beautiful not to kill. At Charlie’s, Ava says, that’s it? Kiki was beautiful, so he killed her? Julian wants to turn it off, but Ryan says, don’t. It’s hard for Ava to watch, but it will help her process it. Ava says it sounds like he murdered for art and he’s proud of it. Julian says Franco is a sick, messed up, freak. He’s sorry she’s going through this.

Chase gets the text from Ryan as Laura, saying she’ll catch up with him later. He sees Alexis, and asks if she’d happen to know where Laura is. She says she’s been trying to get ahold of Laura, but Laura isn’t returning her calls. He says he’s under the impression that the divorce is finalized, but she says as far as she knows, no papers have been filed, and there’s been no communication. It’s very uncharacteristic, and she’s getting concerned. Chase says he’ll find Laura, and let her know.

Alexis goes into Charlie’s. She needs to ask Julian a favor. On the television, Lulu says Franco takes pride in it, and has been successful; one to five steps ahead of the police. He says it was almost dull. She suggests they talk about her. What went wrong? Hmm… I didn’t even think of that. He says, nothing.

Kristina tells Sam she can’t believe she didn’t see it. The way Jason is controlling is subtle and insidious. He doesn’t get in her face, but withdraws. Sam says or he’s running to Sonny and Carly. Kristina says he’s been dictating the relationship, and Sam says, not anymore.

Shiloh thanks Jason for following Sam. She’s already evolved, and his mistrust of the organization helped further her path. He was also trespassing. Jason asks if he should call a lawyer. Shiloh asks if he thinks it’s necessary, and Jason says, you tell me.

Curtis says it’s a good thing TJ is studying be a doctor. He feels useless. Molly says there’s a million other situations where he’d be her go-to guy. He thanks her. He and TJ appreciate her being there, and she asks where else she would be. TJ checks on Jordan, and says she looks good for someone who’s been through what she has. Her blood pressure has stabilized. Curtis asks if she’s awake, but TJ says she needs all her energy. They want her to rest for now. Curtis hugs TJ and thanks him for explaining, He needs a clear head, and goes to walk around. Molly says TJ is scared, isn’t he? He says, terrified.

Franco tells Lulu that he made a mistake. Pride goeth before a fall. He thought she’d bleed out. He’s not sure what went wrong. It was a  real opportunity for performance art. In his mind, the elevator doors would open to this beautiful blonde corpse. A special moment. She says so it wasn’t personal. He says he had no beef with anyone, and thanks her for understanding. A lot of people don’t get it. There was nothing personal. He needed to set a scene. Lulu says, let’s talk about timing. His murders coincided with the anniversary of the Ryan Chamberlain murders. Was it a copycat> Franco laughs, and she asks why it’s funny. He says it’s funny because it’s funny. There was nobody more basic and uninspired. Ryan was a poser. Franco is better at everything than that guy. He did get his start a lot earlier. He was four when he pushed his foster brother down the stairs. Sadly, he lived, but clearly, Franco has gotten better.

Ryan stand up as Franco says, it laid the groundwork; practice makes perfect. Ryan has to go. He has a patient to look after. Ava understands. He tells Julian to look after her, and Julian says he always does.

Franco says the best part is, he feels like his evil genius is growing in his brain. He’s guessing the tumor is back, and that means a get out of jail free card.

Shiloh tells Jason that Sam is a member of their community, and falls under his protection. He advises Jason to heed his warning, and proceed accordingly. Jason asks if that’s a threat.

Kristina tells Sam that she’s sorry. All these years, she though Sam and Jason were romantic; the ultimate definition of love. She didn’t realize what Jason was doing. The DOD has Sam’s back. Jason doesn’t stand a chance.

Chase sees Curtis, and asks how Jordan is. Curtis says it was dicey for a minute. She had emergency surgery, and they’re just waiting for her to wake up. He asks if the mayor reached out, but he hasn’t heard. Maybe she got in touch with the hospital. Chase thought she’d reach out directly.

TJ thinks how long it took for him to forgive his mom, and let her in again. He judged her so hard. Who he to do that? Molly says he’s talking like she’s gone, and she’s not. He says, what if she doesn’t pull through, and dies without him telling her that he loves her. Molly says she’s not dying; she has too much live for. When Molly first met her, she as really nervous, but liked her right away. She could tell how much she loved TJ, yet was willing to share him. Molly says she always felt included, and welcomed. It meant everything. His mom is amazing that way, like him. She imagines his dad being like Curtis, but more serious. TJ says she’s spot on. She knows his uncle and great aunt, but he’s the one most like his mom. He has to ask himself if he’d love her any less if he was mad because someone messed up. He says, no. She asks if it would make him question their love for him, and he says, no. She says that’s exactly how his mom feels.

Julian pours Alexis some coffee. LOUD coffee. She asks what’s going on with Ava and Doc. Julian says they’re engaged. She thinks the world is upside down right now. He says, whatever is going on, he’s there. She asks, why? She hasn’t been that nice, but he says that’s only recently. She doesn’t get it. He says she’s not as scary as she thinks. He tells her it’s on the house, and she calls him a big spender. She leaves, and Ava sits down, saying vodka, straight up. He says, it’s not even noon. He feels that he’d be remiss if he didn’t say something, but he thinks she’s getting in too deep too fast with Doc. She says she was remembering the first time she saw Franco. He came into the gallery like he owned the place. He was up and coming; dangerous, but talented. She didn’t care. What happened to Kiki is her fault. She’s the one who let Franco believe he was her father, and let that maniac into her life. Look what happened. She can’t believe she bought it. He played them all.

Peter asks Lulu how she’s doing. She says, okay, and he says she was heroic in there. Even his father didn’t speak the way Franco did. She says, something feels off. He says, about Franco? and she says, about all of it.

Kristina goes to Jason’s room. Shiloh tells Jason that he said what needed to be said. Kristina appreciates the times Jason saved her, but Sam is better off without him. Shiloh is sure he speaks to all of them, and wishes Jason good health. <gag>

TJ thanks Molly for coming and bringing food. She says, that no one will eat. She wouldn’t be anywhere else. She loves him, and she’s proud of him. Her boyfriend becoming a doctor. People depending on him, saving lives. Someday, someone will need him to do the same thing, and he will. He says, damn straight, and Molly says his mom is going to pull through.

Chase asks Curtis to wait. Before the accident, Jordan left him a message about an urgent assignment. Does he know anything? Curtis says, whatever it was, it will have to wait until she wakes up.

Ava tells Julian, know what she’s learned? She doesn’t know anything about anything. She was wrong about Griff, Morgan, and Franco. He says she’s too hard on herself. She says the only person who makes sense, and makes life bearable is Doc. He tells her she’s moving too fast? So what? She’s been wrong about everything and everyone until now. What does she have to lose?

In his cell, France says, choke on that, you murdering SOB. Come and get me. Ryan storms in, telling Franco that he’s made a terrible mistake.

Elizabeth asks Drew how she’s supposed to keep believing in Franco, Ryan tells Franco to tell the truth, Scotty wonders when Doc is kicking Ava to the curb like Laura

The Haves and The Have Nots

When we last left, Hanna and Candace jumped Jim, and I was laughing my ass off.

He fights back, but he’s no match for these two. Candace is kicking the crap out of him, and Hanna pulls her off. Diane says she’s calling the police, but Jim says, don’t. Hanna wants her to. She wants them to know that Jim sent someone to stab her son. Candace tells her to be careful; they’re in his house. Does she have proof? He’s smarter than that, and they’ll be in jail. Jim tells Hanna to listen to that bitch, and Candace tells him, shut up, before she punches him one more time. If he if goes after her brother, he’d better go after her too. Hanna swears if he comes near any of her kids, she’ll kill him. She promises in Jesus’s name. He says he’s so scared, and she says he should be. I would be. Hanna means business.

Kathryn walks in and asks what the hell is going on? What is Candace doing in her house? Hanna says the SOB sent someone to stab her son while Benny was sitting on the porch. Kathryn says she’ll beat his ass worse than they did. Jim says she has no idea what’s going on. Those two have their $8 million dollars, and he wants it back. Kathryn says it doesn’t belong to him, and he calls her an ignorant slut, channeling Dan Aykroyd on SNL back in the day. He wants the money back now. If he doesn’t get it back in 24 hours… Candace asks what he’s going to do, but he says he’ll let the suspense build. He tells them to get out of his house, but Kathryn reminds him that it’s her house. She tells him, get upstairs and change, and he asks who he’s talking to. She says the woman who’s had him by the balls, and is about to cut them off. The father of her son. He says she doesn’t even know where her son is. He’s in jail where this slimy bastard and her kids should be. He goes upstairs. Candace tells Hanna that’s what they think of her. Kathryn asks her to leave. She wants Hanna to stay, but Hanna has to get out. Kathryn says she’ll handle Jim; she promises.

Benny and Mitch are in the driveway. Benny asks, what happened? and Hanna says he shouldn’t be there. He says Candace shouldn’t be there, and asks why she is. Candace says, beating someone’s ass. Jim threatened him again. Benny wonders why Candace can’t see that it’s her fault. It’s not her money. She insists it is, and he says it needs to stop. He tells her to look, and shows her a picture of her son. Mitch tells him to lay off, and tries to get him to leave. Jim comes out on the balcony, and says, get the hell off his land, reminding me of Leonardo DiCaprio in Django Unchained. Benny says he thinks he’s a big man. He thinks he’s better than they are, looking down on them. He knows he did this to Benny. Jim says then Benny knows what he’s capable of. Benny says he didn’t finish the job. What Jim wants is his money. Jim says Mitch should take Benny to the hospital while he still has a pulse. He asks if Benny’s tummy hurts. Kathryn tells him, get in here now.

Kathryn says she’s had more than enough. Jim says what she’s had more than enough of are her little boys. She asks if he can smell them on her. He says if he finds her with them again… She asks if he’s going to stab her too. He wants the money back. Kathryn tells him it would be a mistake to go after Hanna or her son. He says, says who? and she says her. Don’t make her go off rails again. He says she treats Hanna like Hanna is her mother, and Kathryn says Hanna helped her when she had cancer. Jim says, what? Kathryn says she had cancer, and he didn’t even notice. He doesn’t have the right to ask any of this. He wasn’t there. He says, Hanna took care of her, showed her sympathy, and somehow she thinks it’s worth $8 million. She tells him, keep it up, she’ll let Hanna have every last dime. He says then she’s even stupider than he thought. Hanna nursing her back to health is one more reason for him to hate her. He goes upstairs, and Kathryn says it’s one of the one thousand reasons she already hates him.

David sees Madison on the front steps. Madison says David should be in bed. David knows, and asks why Madison is sitting there. Madison says no one answered the door. David says, Jeffrey’s not home? Madison… Madison doesn’t know. David asks if he’s sure, but Madison says David needs to be checked out, and follows him in.

Jeffrey visits Justin. Justin knew he’d come back. Jeffrey says he never left. Justin wants him to see the apartment, but Jeffrey says he’s taking care of his dad. Justin begs him to go, and Jeffrey says okay. Didn’t we already have this conversation? Jeffrey says he can drop Justin off. Justin asks if he can’t stay and see it. Jeffrey says, not today, and Justin says, tomorrow. Jeffrey says his dad is probably wondering where he’s been. Justin asks where? and Jeffrey says the cafeteria. Justin says, talking to him? and Jeffrey says, no. Justin says, good; he doesn’t like him. Jeffrey says there’s nothing going on, and Justin says, since when? Jeffrey says Madison was trying, but he wasn’t interested. Justin smiles and says because Jeffrey loves him. Jeffrey says he’ll see what they’re saying about Justin’s discharge. Justin says he loves him, and Jeffrey says he loves Justin too. This is creeping me out. A lot.

George wants Wyatt to put a bulletproof vest on for his testimony. Wyatt asks where the doctor is, and George says outside. Wyatt says, send him in. He’ll tell the grand jury whatever George wants, but he wants to see the doctor first. He tosses the vest out of the way. The doctor comes in, and George steps outside. Wyatt asks where the heroin is, but the doctor says he can’t give Wyatt heroin. He can give Wyatt a drug to help him detox. Wyatt asks what the hell? He wants heroin, but the doctor says he can’t give him illegal drugs. George comes back, and Wyatt says, no deal. George tells him that he’ll stay in jail then. Wyatt tells the doctor give him the pills. The doctor gives him one pill, saying it’s that strong. George asks how long before it takes effect, and the doctor says it depends on Wyatt’s tolerance. George tells the court clerk to ask for a recess. Wyatt says, come on; let’s go. George says he’s wired; let the pill take effect. He tells Wyatt, sit. Wyatt says he’s not sitting; let’s go. George says, no way. He’s waiting for Wyatt to calm down. Wyatt says he’s calm, and George tells him that he’s wearing the vest.

Madison changes David’s bandages, and says he’s healing well. He’s overdoing it, but looking good. David wants Madison to find out where Jeffrey is. Madison looks out the window, and says David’s wife just pulled up. Does David want him to call the cops? David says, no; call Jeffrey. David goes downstairs, and lets Veronica in. She says she thought about what David said, and she’d like to try. David asks if she means to make this work. She says, it’s been too messy. Too much nastiness; just too much. David agrees. She’d like to try. He says it would make him happy. She says she does love him. She was consumed with rage. He says he’s been a fool. She says, when she saw the house… He tells her, it was supposed to be hers. I almost feel badly for her, since she seems sincere. She says she’s going to stop drinking. He says he doesn’t like what does to her. She knows, and asks, can he forgive her? He can; he has. He loves her, and love conquers all. She asks how do they start over? and he says they can start slow, by dating. Like they did when they were in college, before the insanity. She wonders if they can go back to time of the chili parlor. She thanks him, and moves in for a hug, but it’s painful.

She’s sorry, but he says, it’s okay. It’s just that the nurse changed the bandages. Veronica says she should meet her, but David says, it’s a man. He calls upstairs, and Madison comes out. She says she doesn’t think they need him anymore; they’ll find someone else. David says it’s difficult to be able to do this. He had to call in favors at the hospital. Veronica tells herself to pick her battles. Why not just concentrate on getting back on track? she can’t keep living this way. She says he knows Jeffrey, and asks if David gets it now. He does. Jeffrey walks in, and David says they were just talking about him. Jeffrey asks, what’s going on? and David says his mother stopped by. Jeffrey asks, why? David puts his arm around Veronica, and says they’re working on getting back together. Jeffrey says he’s got to be kidding. Is he insane? Veronica says he’s finally came to his senses. David offers to walk her to her car, but she tells him, stay and rest. She’s sorry she got him up. She tells him to call her about chili dogs, and he says it won’t be too long. They kiss, and Jeffrey can’t even look.

When she’s gone, Jeffrey asks what’s going on. David says he told Jeffrey. Jeffrey says, she’s a snake. She’ll kill him. David tells Jeffrey to let him handle his mother. He gets why Jeffrey is visiting Justin; he gets it from them.

Roderick sees Candace in the hotel lobby, and thanks her. She tells him, go to hell, and asks, where’s Rocky? Roderick says he and RK are off. She’s thinking of a new plan, and she needs them ready to go. He asks what they’re doing, and she says she’ll let him know. He asks if she’s sure she’s okay. He’s never seen her like this. She says she needs every photo and video of Jim. Roderick offers her a drink, and she says, okay. He brings the vodka bottle over, and pours a shot. She drinks it down. He says, another? And she downs that too. She says, more, and he says, rough day? She says not as rough as his will be. She gets up, but Charles’s entourage is coming through. She asks Roderick why he’s still there, and Roderick says, you tell me.

Landon sees her, and tells her, come on. She says she’s not in the mood. He asks her to sit with him, but she doesn’t want to sit. He says, stand with him then, and she asks why he’s still there. Landon wonders what’s wrong with her. She says, nothing, but he says she’s been crying. She asks if she looks like the kind of girl who would be crying? and he says she looks like the kind of girl who needs a friend. Landon orders what she’s having. He wants to talk to her about him. She says she’s done with both of them. He says Charles told him about her in the bathroom crying. She says that’s why she doesn’t trust people. He tells her, stop it. She’s in pain, and he just wants to help. She asks why? Did Charles tell him to? He says he asked Landon to find someone for her to talk to. She says, so she can be with him? but he says, no. So they can help her. She says she’s not crazy, and he says he never said that. She says she doesn’t need a therapist, and he says he never said that either. She’s grieving. She starts to cry, and he tells her, come on. They leave.

In his room, Landon tells Candace to sit, and gives her some water. She says she’s embarrassed; she’s a wreck. He says she’s on the verge of having a nervous breakdown. She can’t stop shaking, and needs to control her breathing. She says her mother and brother were showing her pictures of her son. Charles knocks at the door. Landon tells her, relax. He tells her don’t fight or run. They should talk.

Charles comes in and sits down. He says she doesn’t look well. She says she’s fine; not enough sleep. He asks why? but she doesn’t know; something is off. He says his doctor can give her something to sleep, but she’s been drinking. He asks how much she’s had, but she doesn’t know. He tells her, try and rest, but she says she can’t. She doesn’t need…. He says she doesn’t need his help, get away, shut up, he doesn’t know her. He knows she can’t sleep. She says she thinks about her son. Every time she closes her eyes, all sees is him in the casket in his suit. She can’t see anything else. She says she’ll be okay, but Charles says, he’s not. He understands. He gets it. He’s been there. She’s sorry for what she did to her son, and what she did to Charles. He says they’ve both done things they regret. He’s so much like her. One day, he’ll tell her everything. She has to ask herself why she’s tired. He was too, on the path he was on. He was exhausted. He he had to do the right thing, and it brought him there. He’s giving her the same choice and chance to rest on the right path. She asks, why her? and he says he chooses her, like some people chose him. She says she can’t get her heart broken again. He says neither can he. She says every time she lets her guard down, it’s exactly the same. He tells her to let her guard down, and open her heart. Just try one more time. He promises he’s him. She says, him who?  He says, the guy she was made for. Try one more time. He holds her.

Next time, Candace doesn’t know where to start, Wyatt testifies, Jeffrey asks Madison not to tell his father, Wyatt gets thrown in a van, and finds a gun.

🌴 Postponing The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills until tomorrow. I watched it, but would never be able to do it justice with my editing at this hour. I’m loving Denise Richards so far, who just seems confused about all the conflicts. The others, not so much. Whether LVP is manipulating the Dorit/dog situation is immaterial. Why are these women passing along info if they think they’re being led to do it by her? So they can bring it up at a nice dinner in the Bahamas? Bleh. Tired of the schoolgirl stuff. These ladies are way too old for that. I liked Teddi at first, but now she acts like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth, as she stirs every pot available.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

Starting off with an apology. Normally, I’d do more editing than this, but tonight, my Best Girl Forever went to the Rainbow Bridge, and I’m exhausted. For a little over 16 years, we had a great run. So please forgive any mistakes, things I missed, or details that I just didn’t deal with.

General Hospital

Jason comes to at the hospital. Carly sits next to his bed. She says he’s okay; that’s all that matters. He says he can see; that’s all he cares about. She tells him that he’s staying until he gets cleared by the doctor.

Sam tells Shiloh that he doesn’t have to stay. He says he’s there for consolation, support, coffee, whatever she needs. She wants to get a prognosis on Scout and Danny’s dad.

Finn explains the virus to Drew. Anna says Finn was able to neutralize the virus. Drew says he remembers pulling out of the garage, and asks if he hit anybody.

Curtis sits next to Jordan’s bed. He says he was told the best thing for her is rest. He’s not asking her to open her eyes, but she can give his hand a squeeze. Nothing happens, and he says she was always a stickler for the rules. He tells her to rest. Her man will be there when she wakes up. Stella brings him some coffee, and he tells Jordan that Aunt Stella is there with some much needed caffeine. He says he won’t be far. In the hallway, Stella says she talked to the doctors, and Curtis asks what the hell is going on.

At the MetroCourt, Peter asks Maxie if there’s no word from the lab. She says no, even though the promise next day service, but they’ve made a promise to figure out if Sasha is Nina’s daughter or Valentin’s plant.

At another table, Valentin is happy to have a moment alone with Sasha. She wonders how can be so calm. Nina loves him, and she thinks he loves Nina, but she doesn’t want Nina to end up heartbroken. That’s why Valentin thinks it’s best for all parties involved if Sasha cuts her visit short. Nina breezes in, says she needs a private conference with her daughter, and whisks Sasha off.

Anna asks Jason how the patient is, and he says, ready to leave. Carly says, no leaving. Anna say she thought while he’s waiting, he’d want to find out what made him go blind in the first place. The HN242 virus is rare, and causes a hemorrhage that results in blindness. He says like what happened to her. She says it has to do with the memory transfer procedure, and Carly says Andre did that, but Anna say it wasn’t intentional. The original doctor, Dr. Cabot, did a study of identical twins. One of the subject pairs was her and Alex.

Shiloh wonders how Jason found the tower, since he had no idea where they were going. Did she tell him? Sam says she didn’t know. She doesn’t need permission to go wherever with whomever. Maybe his mom told him, since she left the kids there. he says he saw a gun, so Jason must have had it in his hands. Sam says he always carries. It must have jarred loose when he fell. Shiloh asks if she’s sure Jason wasn’t going to shoot him.

Finn tells Drew the virus was neutralized, and there’s no chance of the blindness reoccurring. It will take a few days to recover, so no skydiving. Kim tells him it’s time to get some rest. He thinks it’s a good time to talk through what happened. He was driving and he couldn’t see, and got an incredible headache. He asks if he stopped the car, and Kim says, Jordan was hit.

Stella tells Curtis that Jordan shattered two ribs, and a kidney was punctured. If her blood pressure becomes dangerously high, they may have to remove it, but want to save both if possible. They’re monitoring the situation, as there was also blood trauma to the other kidney. It’s serious. If both are compromised, they can explore other options, but they’re not there yet.

Nina wants to talk bridesmaid dresses. She wants Sasha to get something she loves, but there are factors to consider, like the month – they’re looking at May – and the time of day. Sasha thinks maybe Nina’s dress should be figured out first. Nina says she needs help with everything, and asks her to consider staying in Port Charles until the wedding.

Valentin asks if Peter has a minute. Peter hesitates, but Maxie says, sure. They step away, and Valentin says he needs to ask for a little favor; actually, not so little. He wants Peter to be his best man.

Anna tells Jason that Cabot adapted a use for serum, and the DVX held on to the serum and the memory transfer notes, making them available to Andre, who used it on him and his brother, who suffered a hemorrhage around the same time.

Sam tells Shiloh it’s crazy. Since Jason came back, he’s been trying to recapture what they had, no matter how many times she tells him no. Shiloh says he’s sorry Jason is so possessive, but it tells him all he needs to know.

Jason ask if Anna and Alex were the first subjects, if Alex has her memories. Anna doesn’t think so, saying it doesn’t feel that way.

Sasha tells Nina that Chappaquiddick isn’t the moon, and they can meet in the city if Nina wants to check out dresses. Nina doesn’t want to pressure her, but asks if she’d consider staying. She wonders if she’s overwhelming Sasha, who says she’s not overwhelmed; she’s blown away. Nina has a generous heart. She’s so welcoming and open. That’s what makes it so hard turning her down, but she wants to be honest.

Curtis tells Stella that Jordan risked her life every day for a number of years. Now she’s a police commissioner with a desk job, relatively safe in comparison, and critically injured in ICU. If he wasn’t so scared, he laugh at the irony. She says he and his brother served in areas that were high risk. The possibility of losing them paralyzed her. She bargained with herself, and asked God for the grace to get her through. When Tommy died, the prayer changed a little. She thinks he should try it. They join hands.

Carly says Anna likes Jason. He guesses it’s the spy stuff. Carly says Anna didn’t even try getting her to leave the room. Jason says she probably knew if would be a futile effort. Carly says he and Anna must have bonded last year while they were tracking Faison’s son, but Anna lied to him the whole time. She starts sounding a little irrational, and Jason asks if she’s jealous of Anna. She’s just saying they’ve gotten close. Jason says, she’s Robin’s mother. Jason asks when he woke up, who was sitting beside him. Her. Just like he’d be there for her. He asks how she knew he was there, and she says Sam texted her. He asks if Carly is okay, and Carly says the doctors claim the worst is behind him, and there’s nothing to be afraid of, but she was. All the feelings came back. She missed and needed him. He’s her best friend, and she’s going to need him for the next v months. He needs to remember how important he is to her. He asks what’s going on, and she says she’s pregnant.

Shiloh sees that Sam has gotten over Jason, even if he’s not evolved enough to do the same. They’ll have plenty of opportunity to see a sunrise. He has to get back to the house, and when he leaves, she says, finally.

Drew asks where Jordan is, and Kim says in ICU. They’re monitoring her internal injuries. She was operated on last night, and came through well. Drew wants to see her, but Kim says she’s heavily sedated.

Curtis tells Jordan that he never thought he had a chance; that she would love him like he loved her. He loved her as a friend first, a partner, a sister-in-law. Still, he couldn’t deny her beauty. He was clear on the boundaries, but when Tommy died, their family blew apart, and she was out of his life. He had to train himself not to think about her, and the long boring stakeouts where they bonded over lake trout sandwiches, and she made him laugh. But the universe brought them back together, and he was able to see what he couldn’t receive back then. Right or wrong, he loved her the whole time. If he hasn’t made that clear, shame on him.

Valentin knows Maxie told Peter that he and Nina are getting married again. He could probably scrape together a respectable human being, but he’d rather have a friend. Peter asks if that’s what they are. Valentin says he’s known Peter since he was born, and after his tragic mistake, he did his best to right his wrong. He wants Peter to know what Nina means to him. Peter says he’d be honored. They hug, and at the table, Maxie says, that does not bode well.

Cabot tells Anna that he was just leaving. She says, no, he’s not.

Jason asks if Carly is sure, and she says both she and Sonny saw the ultrasound. Sonny left to find Dante in Turkey. Jason asks if he needs support, but she says Brick set it up. Jason insists he can go, but Carly thinks it’s important that he stick to recovering. He asks what about her. It was a risk when she was pregnant with Josslyn. She says she’s taking it easy, and she hasn’t had chips in days; no stress either. He says she should be home relaxing, but she says he can’t stress her out, and she’ll try to leave before he does. He has to do what she wants for the next seven months. He says if that’s what she needs, they’ll figure it out. He asks if she’s excited, and she says she’s scared, nervous, and surprised. She never thought this would happen, but now that she knows, she’s really excited. Jason is too. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Sam, who says she was freaking out when she saw him at the bottom of the stairs. She kisses him, and says she thought he was dead. He says there’s nothing to worry about.

Curtis tells Jordan that maybe he was too ambitious about the honeymoon. She wanted to go to New Orleans. Why not do that? They can plan a long weekend, forget police work, and hold hands in the garden district. They’ll just do them. Stella says Curtis has a visitor; she’ll stay. Curtis finds Drew in the hallway. Drew doesn’t know what to say; he’s sorry. He wishes he could take it back. Curtis says, it was an accident; stuff happens. Kim and the other doctors are hopeful. There was no spine injury, which is major. They did surgery, and are waiting to see how it goes. Drew says if there’s anything he can do, he will. Curtis says the doctors are taking good care of her. He heard Drew was found unconscious. Drew says apparently his crazy vision was an unhappy surprise from his past. He’s sorry.

Stella says she owes Jordan an apology. She owes Jordan several.

Sasha says it’s Nina’s wedding. She can be supportive from a distance, but wants to focus on Nina. Valentin asks if it’s a closed meeting. Sasha says she needs time to think. So does Nina. After Sasha leaves, Nina tells Valentin that her daughter has a mind of her own. Valentin say she has an independent streak, but Nina wishes Sasha would be independent and outspoken in Port Charles. Valentin says he asked Peter to be his best man, and Peter agreed.

Maxie asks Peter what Valentin wanted, and Peter says Valentin asked him to be his best man. Maxie asks what he said, and Peter tells her, yes. He says she doesn’t seem surprised, but she’d like to know his reasons. He says he doesn’t want to keep any secrets from her.

Cabot says he gave them a thorough briefing on the memory transfer study, but Finn says, not thorough enough. Anna says Andre successfully transferred memories from Jason to Andrew. Finn says there must have been something promising in the original study for them to allow it to continue. Anna asks if Cabot ever transferred memories from her sister to her.

Jason thanks Sam for texting Carly. Sam says she had to keep her distance. Carly wonders how far she’s taking this. Shiloh took her to an isolated location. What if Jason hadn’t been there? Sam says he was, and this has nothing to do with her; it’s about Sam’s sister Jason tells Sam that Carly is pregnant, and can’t have stress. Sam hugs Carly, and apologizes for being snippy. Carly says she started it. She says Jason promised that he wouldn’t leave until a doctor gives the okay, but If he has to take care of himself, so does she. Sam says a baby is pretty great, and asks if Carly Jason is okay. He says he just has a little leftover headache. She asks what happened, but he says, her first. What happened in the tower? Wasn’t he listening on the phone?

Stella says she made Jordan the focus of her grief and loss, and her anger over Tommy’s senseless death. She judged Jordan for her mistakes, and held them against her. It was never her place. Now she sees the time she wasted, and the needless pain it caused, dividing the family, issuing an ultimatum. If she wasn’t so stubborn, she’d have admitted that Jordan was an admirable woman, with the courage to face her mistakes and the strength to take them back. She hopes she can follow and learn from Jordan’s example. She admits she was wrong, and will do everything in her power to make it up to her.

Nina says she’s surprised, but in a good way. She doesn’t think Peter’s motives are altruistic. Valentin says, neither were his. He knew Peter was more likely to say yes with Maxie there, and Maxie was more likely to be supportive if Peter is best man. Nina asks if their wedding is going to be Maxie and Peter’s date night.

Peter tells Maxie that getting close to Valentin doesn’t mean he’s going to betray him. He’d prefer Valentin be an ally than an adversary. The results are in.

Cabot says memories aren’t widgets; they’re not defined by quantity or mass, but he believes there was something. Anna asks what it was, and he tells her to ask her sister. Alex is the curator of her own memories. He has a plane to catch. Anna introduces him to Agent Grey, who will be his escort to Steinmauer. He says they’ve had his full cooperation, and provided them with everything he knows. Anna tells him to have his lawyer call her. He’s escorted out. Finn says he’s not the first doctor to pad his research, and exaggerate his success. Anna says, it sounds farfetched, but what if he’s telling the truth? If she has memories that aren’t her own, it could make a huge difference. Hmm… could Peter be Alex’s son?

Cabot tells the guard that he has to check with a patient. The guard steps away (okay), and Cabot asks how his favorite patient is. He says the same thing happened to him, and it was terrifying. Fortunately there’s a cure.

Nina tells Valentin that she wants Maxie to be happy; she’ll get there. She feels like Maxie is slipping away from her, and it makes her more grateful to have Sasha in her life. She didn’t outright refuse to stay in Port Charles. This thing might work out. Valentin says he’s counting on it.

Carly sees Peter, and apologizes for interrupting. He tells her that he’s happy with his office. She’s glad to hear it. She says there’s something else. She just left Jason, who had a health scare that stemmed from Dr. Andre’s procedure. She’s sure when all this started, Peter didn’t know they’d end up in the same city, and have people in common; people who have given him a second chance. Don’t blow it. She leaves, and Maxie tells him that she almost jumped in there, saying he’s changed and is committed to being a new person, but she realized the only way to prove it is by actions. He says he’d rather prove it to her. She doesn’t set up impassible standards, and they accept. Maxie asks him to read the results. She’s too nervous. Subject A is Nina. What does it say about Sasha. He says it’s not a match. Maxie says then Sasha is a fraud. He doesn’t think it has to do with Sasha. It’s says she’s an African American female. She says she must have taken the wrong clippings. Back to square one. Now what?

Stella tells Jordan that she would have been mortified if Jordan had gotten in touch with Marcus, but fate did the work for her, and Stella admits she had the right idea. Curtis stands in the doorway. She asks how long he’s been eavesdropping, and he says, long enough. The machines Jordan is attached to start to go crazy. Stella calls for the nurse, and takes Curtis outside. The doctor thinks Jordan needs emergency surgery.

Jason tells Sam that he heard Shiloh ask her to spend the night with him. That’s why he headed up the stairs. Then he blacked out. She says she heard him fall. It wasn’t the rescue she was looking for, but it worked out better. Shiloh thinks she’s grateful. She’s going to keep playing it out. She has no choice; if it’s the only way to reach Kristina. She has to, and needs him to back her up. She can’t do it alone. He says he’ll back her up, as long as there isn’t another trip to the tower. They kiss, and Shiloh sees.

Tomorrow, Curtis says Jordan’s not out of the woods, Lulu interviews Franco, and Sam pretends she and Jason are done.

Vanderpump Rules

Kristen hugs Katie, and says she loves her. Katie says she loves Kristen too, but last night was crazy. In Katie’s interview, she says last night, Kristen lost her goddam mind. She was knocking on doors, asking for cigarettes, and threatening to leave in the middle of the night. Kristen wants to be chill, and stop freaking out. She says Carter was texting her about James. In her interview, Katie says Kristen claims her meltdown was about James being at guys’ night, but she hasn’t been happy in the relationship with Carter. Kristen says she’s not the only one who feels that way, but Katie says she’s the only one acting that way.

Jax announces drinking sucks as you get older. Schwarz thought vacation was supposed to be fun and guilt free. Jax remembers in his heyday going out for multiple days in a row of drinking. He’s drinking a quarter of that, and sick as a dog. Schwartz thinks Peter hooked up, but Jax wasn’t comfortable. He tells Schwartz about calling the girls. In his interview, Schwartz says it’s refreshing to see Jax remorseful. Schwartz asks if it doesn’t feel good to have zero temptation, but Jax still doesn’t want to be put in that situation.

Katie tells Kristen that she literally fell, and was arguing on the ground. She couldn’t even stand up to finish the argument. She gave up. Lala says it’s their final day in Solvang, and they’re going to a winery/ranch. She knows how to give bitches a good time. She’s not drinking because Randall thinks it’s a horrible combination, but she does keep sniffing the various vintages. She says it’s not easy for her; it’s pure torture. Brittany passes on drinking too. She tells them, last night, she was sick; waking up every hour to throw up. She thinks she might be allergic to something. Um… maybe she’s allergic to drinking too much?

Stassi tells the girls about Jax and Beau calling her and Brittany. She 100% believes what they said, and thinks they handled it perfectly. He didn’t have to call her. The old her would been a mess. Progress. Everyone comments on how beautiful the scenery is. Stassi and Kristen stay at the outdoor table and drink wine, while the others go for a walk. Stassi says Kristen seems normal today. She doesn’t think the problem is James. She thinks it’s bigger than that. Kristen admits her and Carter are not great. She doesn’t need to be screamed at. Stassi says she can be in a relationship where someone loves her. is happy to be with her, and supports her, and isn’t demanding she take care of everything. In Stassi’s interview, she says behind Kristen’s crazy nature, she’s one of the most wonderful people Stassi has ever met. She wants Kristen to be with someone who appreciates it, and gives love back. She doesn’t think Kristen thinks she’s lovable, and it breaks her heart. Stassi says she learned the hard way. Kristen feels the need to defend Carter, since he’s not sh*tty all the time. In her interview, Kristen says it’s like she has a teenage son, and doesn’t think Carter is trying hard enough. Stassi says she needs to be with someone who’s excited to be around her. She excited, but sorry, she doesn’t want to have sex with Kristen. Kristen says, even on a girls’ trip?

Lisa adjusts the flowers at TomTom. Giggy! Tom has wanted someone to pinch him ever since he saw his name. He loves it, and will never get used to it. Lisa says she’s invited Sly, a top mixologist, to come and give them advice. In her interview, Lisa says she doesn’t often bring in someone like that, but TomTom is different form the others, and focused on cocktails. She sent the Tom’s recipes to Sly, and if something doesn’t fly, she’ll tell them. Tom is sure she’s talented, but they dedicated months to just the cocktail menu. In Tom’s interview, he says he’s $100K invested in the bar, but at what point do Tom and Tom get to contribute to TomTom? Lisa says he’s not a mixologist, and Sly is going to show them some stuff. She says she always thinks she knows everything until someone knows it better. She tells them, trust her; they might learn something. In her interview, she says they can have a cocktail that costs $30 and takes a half hour to make, but that’s not what business is about. It has to be time and cost effective, and also bloody delicious.

Lala does some horseback riding, while the other girls watch. She hasn’t been on a horse in years, and says it’s about trusting each other. Lala does some circles. Afterwards, she takes a walk with Stassi, and tells her that you have to be calm for the horse to stay calm. It was good. Stassi asks how Lala is doing. Lala doesn’t know. She’s in a big funk, and it’s getting worse; more real. It sounds morbid, but her dad is just a memory now, and she misses him. She starts to cry, and Stassi cries with her. Lala says she retreated from everyone, including Rand. It’s a heavy thing, and she’s angry it happened. Stassi thinks Rand understands. Lala says she loves him so much. In her interview, Lala says he’s done a good job of taking care of her while she’s been up and down about her dad. She says her dad isn’t going to see her get married or have babies. Her mom told her that Rand had called her dad, and asked if he could have Lala, and take care of her. Stassi says she’s lucky. Lala knows that. Her world crumbled, and she’s so sad right now. Me too. Stassi is so sorry.

Jax isn’t drinking. Tom says they’re still on staycay, and he’s saying he can’t drink? Tom puts a drink in front of him anyway. Tom tells Jax about Sly coming in on Saturday; it’s a collaborative effort. Jax wonders what percentage of the place is the Toms, but Schwartz wants whatever’s best for the bar. Jax asks what they’re bringing to TomTom if not drinks? Schwartz says their heart and soul. In Jax’s interview, he thinks it’s a slap in the face. He tells Schwartz and Jax they’ve given this so much time. Lisa gave them permission to go for it, and they did. If their drinks don’t make it to the menu, he doesn’t know if he wants to stay in. In Schwartz’s interview, he says he never thought about what he’d do if Tom backed out. Would Lisa want move forward? Would he? He doesn’t want just Tom. Tom says top notch bars are doing the cocktails they submitted. They can’t not do it. Well, I would think Sly would know this. What a baby man dude is being. Crying before he’s hurt.

It’s time to go home, and Stassi wears PJs on the PJ. Lala thinks she was born for this lifestyle. Stassi says she’s spoiled now.

An hour and a half later, the girls are back at work. Brittany is so tired, she’s slap happy. Scheana says going back to work at SUR after being on a PJ is humbling. What is life?

In his interview, James says PUMP used to be his stomping ground. Lisa is trusting him to DJ Billie’s Equality event. Lisa introduces Billie, who says she’s working from the ground up, like Equality does, starting with civil rights. Lisa asks James what he’s been up to, and he tells her that he went to boys’ night, but he didn’t drink. She says he’s young enough to change. She tells him, do a good job, and don’t let Billie down. He’s concerned about girls’ night. It was his baby, and he put the work into it. Lisa isn’t discussing it now, and James asks, when. She says she’s not putting a time on it. He has way bigger problems, like the rest of his life. In his interview, he asks if he needs to get a tattoo. He tells Lisa that everyone at SUR wants him back. Lisa says he’s not listening, and being disrespectful. In Lisa’s interview, she says there has to be an element of contrition. She doesn’t know if he’s learned his lesson, since all he’s concerned about is getting his job back. It’s like opening a Christmas present before the holiday. She tells him, who says he’s coming back?

Stassi is hungover, and needs dog love. She tells Beau that she made a drink for him. She’s still in her PJs and wearing sunglasses. She says he’s looking at her like she has a gun trained on him, and he says she looks like a drunk, blonde Ray Charles. He’s been hungover since Wednesday, after they were out until 5 5 am. Stassi says she’s not mad about them being out so late (early?), but she’s mad about them bringing around a bunch of whores. He’s perplexed, and says she’s looking at him like he did something, and she says it’s manipulation, but she feels guilty guilt-tripping him. In her interview, she says when he looks at her like she’s a hunter gunning for him, it melts her ice cold heart. She tells him her friend Kristina is having a barbecue at her place in Santa Monica tomorrow. In her interview, she says Kristina is one of her oldest friends there, and got her the job at SUR. Beau is down with that. Stassi has decided her life sucks. You can do anything on a PJ. She lists things like walking around and going to the bathroom, and Beau says he can do the same thing when he flies Delta. He asks if they had Movies on the back of the seats. She says, no, and he makes a dismissive hand gesture (not the finger).

Schwartz is choosing his outfit for the meeting, and tells Katie that he doesn’t want to overcompensate. He’s thinking young CEO. Katie Says Lisa dresses for everything. He should be her male counterpart. In her interview, Katie says the success of TomTom means a lot to the both of them. It can fund their family and future, so they need to have faith. Schwartz tells her Tom got heated, and threatened to back out if none of their drinks make it to the menu. Katie says that would hurt, but their drinks great. It’s their bar too, and they have to own that sh*t. She says their drinks are worthy of the cocktail menu. In his interview, Schwartz feels like Rudy at the end of the movie. He hears Lisa chanting, Schwartzy! Katie thinks they have solid drinks. He says she has solid lips. They kiss.

Stassi tells Kristina there are many she’d come to the west side for, but Kristina is number one. Katie brings a plant, and explains about the Toms being at a meeting. As they’re pulling in, Kristen asks Carter not to be an a-hole. In Kristen’s interview, she says what Stassi said about Carter was unkind and intrusive, but not completely wrong. Kristen starts drinking immediately. She tells Carter that whenever there’s an issue, he barks at her, raises his voice, and cusses. He says when she comes home, she bitches about her day. She says he’s her boyfriend, and they’re going to disagree. It’s always his way or the highway, and it doesn’t work that way. In her interview, Kristen says as hot as Carter is, she’s attracted to the drive. Carter says they’re both stubborn, and whines that the therapist is always on her side and gives her more time. Kristen tells him that’s not the way therapy works. She says she’s uncomfortable. She loves him, but she’s going outside.

Brittany and Jax arrive, with Lala right behind. Lala says she wants vino, and Stassi wonders why today? They just went on a wine trip, and she didn’t take a sip. Maybe things are not great in Lalaland. Ariana tells Katie, whatever’s on the grill smells good. They talk about the meeting, and Katie says the Toms came up with some good stuff that hasn’t been seen before. We see a clip of Tom making ice diamonds, and some kind of foam. Why does anyone want foam anything to happen? Ariana says if they can’t get their drinks on the menu, it won’t be very good. The arrogance runs high.

Lisa tells Sly that each place has its own identity, and this place is different. She wants drinks equally different. The Toms arrive, and she introduces Sly. In Tom’s interview, he says she might be qualified, but Sly doesn’t know them, and he hopes she does them a solid or adios TomTom. Lisa tells them, watch, listen, and learn from the best. Sly says it’s more than beautiful cocktails. The drinks need to be cost effective. Sometimes you can take a basic drink, and add just one element. It’s easy for the staff and profitable for the bar. In his interview, Tom says he sees his dream of getting cocktails on the menu slipping away. Geez, if that’s all it takes, maybe he’s in the wrong business. Lisa says Sly has been over the list with a fine-toothed comb. Lisa asks if Sly liked any of the cocktails, and Sly asks if she’s hooked up to a lie detector. Lisa asks, how many got through? and Sly says, ten. Everyone is happy again. She says she did a few tweaks, and goes through them. Tom says it’s amazing. He thought they’d be lucky to get one or two though. In her interview, Lisa says she likes to see them winning; that’s why they’re here. They committed, and came out smelling like a rose. In Schwartz’s interview, he says, Schwartzy! He’s relieved that his friend and business partner isn’t abandoning him. They all clink glasses with whatever is there.

Jax can’t find the vodka, so he’s drinking wine. Lala feels that she and Rand aren’t on the same page. She  gave up alcohol for him, and when she came home, he was not acting okay. He’d been partying to the point where he didn’t even know his own name, and was slurring his words. She was in wine country, didn’t drink any of it for him, and this is what he’s doing. Is he effing kidding? She feels betrayed. They made a pact. She’s going through a hard time, and needs a partner. a soulmate, someone to back her up. He said she’d been unloving and harsh in the past week. She starts to cry, saying she decided to take a break from him. Brittany and Katie tell her they’re sorry. Lala doesn’t think she can be with him. He kept her Gucci slides, taking them back so she’d remember. Um… wouldn’t she remember better if she had them? In her interview, Katie says it’s ridiculous, like taking away a child’s toys. Lala knows she can afford her rent and car on her own, but her life is going to be different; no traveling on a PJ to Mikonos. She says there’s a lot of steak out there. and no matter what, she can live that way. You just need a mouth. I’m guessing you might need a little more than that. Brittany says at least she’s optimistic about the future. Katie and Brittany tell Lala they love her.

Still coming this season, Katie wants Schwartz to listen to her for once, James lacks emotional control, a trip to Mexico, a dinosaur costume (the good kind), Brittany tries on wedding dresses, the engagement party, Lisa tells James maybe his future doesn’t include SUR, and Tom calls Katie a bully.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Sonny asks if Robert plans on leaving his son out in the cold. Robert says he’s not leaving him behind, and Sonny asks if he got the okay to bring Dante home.

Sam tells Jason that she’s meeting Shiloh at the MetroCourt. Jason asks if Shiloh gave any indication where they were going. She says, no, and Jason says Shiloh is testing her. She thinks it’s good if she goes no questions asked, so he’ll trust her. She knows Jason hates it, but she has to make sure Shiloh doesn’t think she’s playing him.

Curtis talks to TJ on the phone, wanting to get together, but TJ is busy. Drew joins him, and says if TJ thinks he’s busy now, wait until he’s chief of staff. Curtis says he was hoping to have coffee with TJ, since he was dropping Lulu off. Drew asks how she’s doing, and Curtis says, physically, she’s fine, but the arraignment got the better of her. Drew says, she’s not the only one.

Elizabeth sits in her car. Terry knocks on the window, and Elizabeth nearly has a heart attack. Terry says she didn’t mean to scare her; she should have known better. She asks if everything is okay, but Elizabeth says, no; far from it.

Jordan is going to talk Franco through it one more time. He’ll choose one lucky reporter, and give a no holds barred interview; telling them all the gory details. The performance of a lifetime. He’s going to hit the killer in the one place he’s vulnerable – his ego. He’ll have to reveal himself. Franco says so he’s going to turn the tables; manipulate the manipulator. She says, it’s the most effective tactic. Franco says, there’s only one problem. He’s not doing it.

Ryan and Ava go to the MetroCourt. He tells Carly that he wants to order the best champagne. Ava says they’re celebrating a major event. They’re getting married. Carly asks how his wife feels about that.

Laura yells for help. Doc tells her to rest; she’s been at it for hours. She says she looked everywhere, but can’t find another exit. Their best hope is someone hearing. Doc says if anyone could hear, they’d have been there by now. He thinks they should take a step back and regroup. Besides, he missed her. She says, that’s the silver lining in this very, very dark cloud. They might be in the basement at Ferncliff held captive by a madman, but they’re together.

Finn asks if Cabot is confirming Anna was a test subject. Anna says, it never happened. Cabot says she doesn’t remember participating in the study, because she wasn’t supposed to.

Jason tells Sam that he has both of their phones set up. He can track her even if he can’t see her, but he’ll have to keep his distance. Sam says she can handle herself. Shiloh may just want to get her alone to brainwash her with DOD propaganda. Jason says, that’s what he’s worried about. She doesn’t know what she’s walking into. He tells her, keep her eyes open, and if something goes wrong, he has her back.

Cabot tells Anna that she was drugged and abducted; a necessary evil to further the cause of science. She says, he’s lying, but he asks if there aren’t stretches of time she’s missing. How else can she explain her exposure to the virus? She had no adverse reaction at the time. The virus remained dormant for years, and began to manifest, causing blindness. Anna lunges for him, but Finn takes her out in the hallway. She says she needs answers, but Finn suggests she take a minute to calm down before she strangles Cabot. She wants to smash his face. Finn says they need him to keep talking first. They need more information to confirm what they suspected about her being infected with the virus. She asks what that really tells them. It doesn’t explain Doc. He wasn’t a part of the study. His brother has been dead for twenty-five years.

Carly tells Ryan, last she heard, he was still married to Laura. Ava says she knows how to spoil a celebration, and Carly tells her there are other restaurants. Ryan says he and Laura are getting divorced. She’ll find it beneficial as well. She asks, in what universe? He says he can help with any co-parenting issues, and Avery will have one more stable person in her life. Carly says he helped her in Ferncliff, but he’s anything but stable right now. She tells them the restaurant reserves the right to refuse service, so mind their manners. When she’s gone, Ava tells Ryan he might have kicked a hornet’s nest, and Carly could cause trouble for them. He says he could just kill them.

Terry tells Elizabeth that she knows she’s been AWOL. She didn’t mean be a bad friend. Elizabeth says Oscar needed her, but Terry says she could have still found time to be a friend. When Franco was arraigned, Elizabeth was confident there had been a mistake, and he’d be exonerated. She was so sure it would work out. Elizabeth says, all that changed today. She was hoping to pull it together before her shift. Terry asks, what happened? and Elizabeth says, Franco pled guilty. He’s not guilty; that much she knows. Something else is going on.

Franco say pleading guilty in front of Elizabeth without being able to explain was horrible. Now Jordan wants him to spread the lie over the entire world. She asks what he thought the plan was? That he’d just be evaluated and it would work out? He says she wanted time to catch the killer, and he’s given it to her. She says, the killer’s ego will betray him. Franco needs to get under his skin, so the killer confronts him. Franco asks how she knows he’s not going to just get killed.

Sonny tells Robert that Dante did the WSB a favor, tracking Rog. Now they’re going to leave him? Robert says, it’s dangerous. They just can’t risk violating borders. He won’t stop until Dante is back, but he needs time. He also doesn’t need Sonny making waves. He could alert the hostiles to Dante’s whereabouts. Sonny understands, and Robert says he’ll be in touch. Robert leaves, and Sonny calls Brick, saying he needs Brick’s help.

Ava asks where Ryan has been hiding his delicious wit, and he says she brings out the best in him. She plans to do that for the rest of their lives, but says Carly had a point. They can’t move forward yet. Maybe they’re getting ahead of themselves with the celebration. He says why put their happiness on hold? and tells her to order whatever she wants, as long as it’s the best. He’ll be right back. He has to wrap up a few loose ends.

Doc tells Laura that he’s so sorry. She says it’s not his fault. He says he should have known better. He should have thought it through, and taken precautions. She says Doc was shocked that Ryan was still alive. That’s why Ryan got the jump on him.

Curtis says it must have sucked, hearing that Franco pled guilty, but Drew says he can’t shake the feeling that it’s a maneuver, and Franco has an agenda; an ulterior motive. Or maybe he’s kidding himself. Curtis says, no, he’s not. There’s more going on than Drew realizes.

Jordan tells Franco it’s a secure facility. If anyone gets in who’s unauthorized, they’ll know. He says what if it’s someone who’s authorized? Jordan gives him a burner phone, telling him to hide it. It’s only to be used as a last resort. He takes the phone, and starts dialing. She asks what he’s doing, and he says what he should have from done from the start. Tell Elizabeth the truth.

Elizabeth tells Terry that she knows Franco is innocent. There has to be another reason. Terry says, okay, and Elizabeth says Terry thinks she’s crazy. Terry says, the truth is, she doesn’t know him well, so she doesn’t share what Elizabeth has, but she has faith in Elizabeth. If she believes there’s more to the story, she trusts her. Elizabeth thanks her, and says, if Franco doesn’t trust her, she’s not sure they stand a chance.

Shiloh meets Sam at the MetroCourt, and introduces him to Carly. She’s heard about the good work he’s doing in the community; her daughter helped with the coat drive. He says she’s Kristina’s stepmom, and she says Kristina is very important to her. Sam says they should get going; it’s getting late. Outside, she says he still hasn’t told where they’re going. He says that’s because it’s a surprise. She says that’s great and all, but she has children. They’re at their grandmother’s, and she thinks it’s a good idea to let them know where she is. He tells her, placing trust in others helps us trust ourselves, which doesn’t really address what she said, but okay. He says when she sees what he has to show her, all of her doubts will disappear.

Robert joins Anna and Finn. He thinks Doc was used in the experiment, but doesn’t know if he remembers. Anna says it’s possible it took place when Ryan was still alive. Robert says good thing they have access to someone who can give them all the answers. They go into Cabot’s room, and he asks if they’ve calmed down. Anna says they have other questions, and Robert says there’s no immunity deal for him, and it will go a long way in reducing his sentence if he’s cooperative. Cabot asks what they want to know. Anna says his superiors wouldn’t sign off on a study like that unless it had a purpose. What was the objective? Cabot says to transfer the memories from one person to another.

Elizabeth tells Terry that she put all her faith in Franco. When he was considered a suspect, her trust never wavered. So much so, she married him last night at the police station. She wasn’t letting the world tell her what kind of man he is. Terry asks if her invitation got lost in the mail; no present for her. Elizabeth is sorry; she’s a mess. She thought if she cried it out, she’d feel better, but it’s not helping. Terry says Elizabeth doesn’t want to cry. She wants to scream.

Jordan tells Franco, stop. Franco says if they’re putting it out there that he’s the real killer, Elizabeth will be vulnerable. The phone makes a beeping sound, and Jordan says he’s blocked from making calls not to her. She knows it’s tough, but promises the less Elizabeth knows, the safer she’ll be.

Doc tells Laura, it’s ironic. He spent months having conversations with her; what he’d say, how he’d say it, if he had the chance. Now here she is, warm and real, and by his side, and he can’t find the words. She says, don’t try so hard. Just say how he feels. Ryan let’s himself in, and asks how the big reunion is going. Isn’t Laura a sight for sore eyes? Oops. He guesses not. Doc says it’s not like him. Whenever he visits, he risks being seen. Why take the chance? Unless his elaborate charade is beginning to unravel. Laura says Doc may be right. Ryan looks hairy, flustered, nervous. Ryan says he’s totally committed to his course of action. He came finish what he started. He takes out a knife.

Sam and Shiloh enter what looks like a lighthouse. Shiloh says, we’re here, and Sam asks, where is here? I don’t catch the name, but it’s some lake. Sam says she’s never heard of it, and he says it’s in a corner of Lake Ontario. He says the tower used to be taken care of by the harbor master, but it’s been vacant for a long time. I wonder why it looks like someone lives there. There are even coats hanging by the door. Shiloh says when he left Afghanistan, he was looking for a way to change his life, but had no idea how. He wandered aimlessly, and found the tower. He’d never heard of it, and never been there. Call it fate. She asks why he thinks he was led there, and he holds out his hand. She hesitates, but takes it, and they go up the stairs. Jason comes in, and follows, but stays way behind.

Terry tells Elizabeth crying hasn’t worked because she’s not sad. Elizabeth says Franco just pled guilty to multiple murders. Terry says she can feel sorry, but she must be furious that he was keeping her in the dark too. She’s angry, and needs to feel it. Let it out, so she can get on with her day. If she needs to scream, go ahead. It’s just her. Feel the anger, and scream at everyone who let her down or underestimated her. Let it out. Elizabeth lets loose with a scream. Terry says, better? and Elizabeth laughs, saying, a little, yeah. Terry asks if there’s more in her, and she says, yeah.

Jordan tells Franco that she’s moving in a detective she can trust, but until then, he has to do his part. She says he has to call his lawyer on the Ferncliff landline, and have him set up the interview. He says, convince him this is another good plan, but she says she’s late to dinner with her son. She’s about to leave, and her phone rings. Franco says he had to be sure it worked.

Drew asks Curtis if Jordan told him something. Curtis says she’s holding her cards close. Let’s just say his hunch is that Drew’s hunch is correct. He can’t see the big picture, just pieces. It’s not much, but it’s something.

Laura tells Ryan not to get any closer, and tells Doc, he has a knife. Ryan says, not quite, but it will do the trick. Doc stands in front of Laura, and says Ryan will have to go through him first. Ryan says Doc is jumpy. He’s not there to take their lives, as satisfying as it sounds. He needs something first. Laura says he has an envelope, and Ryan says, which he’s using his letter opener to open. It’s his signed duplicate of their divorce papers; her divorce papers. His lawyer wanted him to mail them, but he knew she wouldn’t be at home. So if she doesn’t mind… He holds them out, but she slaps them out of his hand, and says, go to hell. He says, it’s tempting, but there’s someplace else he’d rather be. Laura says he wants to sever ties with her so he can marry Ava, but she’s not helping him hurt Ava more than he has already. He thinks she should review this. He’s armed, stronger than them, and can see. It can play out to its long, bloody conclusion, or she can cooperate. What’s it going to be?

Sonny sees Ava sipping champagne, and asks Carly what she’s doing there. Carly says, celebrating her engagement to Doc. He asks if she’s stressed, but she says, not one bit. She asks where he went, and he says he met with Robert. It wasn’t good news. The WSB can’t go after Dante without a diplomatic incident. She says, so he’s planning on going?

Ryan says he could just kill them, and Doc tells him to stay the hell away from Laura, stepping in front of her. Ryan asks where his calm, shrinky demeanor is. Ryan tells Laura to get behind Doc, so he can mortally wound him, and leave him bleed out, while he ends her life. She says she’ll sign. He thought she might. She signs the top paper, and he says she forgot the yellow stickies. She signs the other pages, which I might add are LOUD papers. Ryan takes the papers, holds out his hand for the pen, and I laugh. He leaves, and Laura tells Doc, he’s gone. They hug.

Cabot says, the study produced a painless, efficient way to extract information. There was no need for torture or coercion. They could just transfer the memories to someone else. Anna and her sister were in the first trial. Anna asks if he’s trying to say her memories were extracted and given to Alex. Cabot says, it’s the other way around. Finn says the study must have been a bust. Anna doesn’t have Alex’s memories. He failed. Anna says, no, he didn’t.

Shiloh tells Sam no one lives there, but it’s far from empty. She understands this place is special to him, but what happened here? She does something with her phone. Jason is coming up the stairs, and can hear what they’re saying. Shiloh says he came looking for a purpose. He was drawn to the shore. Standing there, looking at the vast expanse of water in the moonlight, he saw what he thought would be his shelter. He came in and found this room. He curled up on the floor, and fell asleep. He was cold and alone, but a few hours later, he was awakened by a brilliant light, a powerful light. The break of dawn was the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen. Sam says, Dawn of Day, and he says, precisely. His moment of clarity. Right then, he knew his calling was to bring light to as many people as he could. Sam says it’s a beautiful story, but she doesn’t know why he couldn’t tell her in Port Charles. He says she has to experience it personally. It’s very intimate. When she sees the dawn break, she’ll know her path. Is he going to slip her drugs? Because yeah, it’s nice story, and I’m sure a gorgeous daybreak, but does he really think he can get over on a serious con artist with a sunrise?

Sonny tells Carly that he talked to Brick. He can get across the border. Carly says Brick can get Sonny in, but can Brick get him out in one piece? Sonny says, Brick is a professional. He doesn’t want to leave her, and won’t be gone long. She tells him, go. Bring Dante home to meet his new brother or sister.

Elizabeth thanks Terry for forcing her to get that out. She thinks she can handle going work now. She gets out of the car. Terry offers to cover for her, make a show of how sick she is, like in high school. Remember the excuses she used to write? Elizabeth says, thanks, but no. She actually needs work. Terry says she’s still a night owl. If Elizabeth’s shift ends, and she needs a friend to talk, have a drink with, or scream, she’s there. They hug. I’d love to see more of Terry. She’s a very charming character.

Franco tells Scotty that he needs to ask a favor. Get in touch with someone from The Invader for him. He thinks it’s time to tell the world his side of the story.

Ryan returns to the MetroCourt. He hands Ava the papers, saying he had a hunch, and went back to his office. Those were waiting for him. Laura signed. He guesses she decided to put their marriage to bed. He toasts to them, saying, nothing can stand in their way now. They clink glasses.

Laura says Doc must be disappointed in her, but he says, no. He’s glad she did it. Nothing would delight Ryan more than to take the person he loves the most away, knowing he’s powerless to stop it. Laura asks if that’s what it was like living with Ryan; if he destroyed everything Doc created. He says no part of his life was safe. He’s sorry for everything she’s been through with him. Laura says their marriage is off, and it leaves Ryan free to do God knows what to Ava. It never occurred to her. Everyone thought he was dead twenty-five years ago. Doc says, it doesn’t matter. They’re together, and if they get out of this, he’ll marry her all over again. They kiss.

Sam says, sunrise is hours away, and Shiloh says it’s not like she has someone to go home to. Spend the night with him. She’ll see. Jason takes out his gun.

Drew calls Elizabeth, leaving a message. He says they need to talk about Franco. He gets in his car, and backs out of the spot.

Finn says, Anna has Alex’s memories? She says the memories weren’t transferred to her, but Andre took the study to use as a basis for his procedure. He built on the work already done. This means there are two other unwilling participants in the study.

Drew gets a headache while he’s driving out of the garage. His vision becomes blurry.

Jason’s vision becomes blurry, and he tumbles down the stairs. Sam hears, and runs out. She sees Jason at the bottom of the stairs, and runs down to him. She asks if he can hear her.

Walking through the parking garage, Jordan calls Chase.

Drew passes out, and his car hits Jordan.

On Monday, Curtis asks Stella what’s going on, Maxie tells Peter the results are in, and Valentin asks Peter for a favor.

🔪 For the record, last night, Justin packed his knives and went on Top Chef.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Carly calls Olivia and leaves a message. She says her schedule is booked. She needs a huge favor, and asks Olivia to take over some of her meetings. Things are busy there. Sonny asks how much she’s handing off. Kim told her to reduce her stress. He doesn’t know how much she told Olivia, but Carly says they agreed not to tell anything yet. He asks about her diet, and she promises to eat only organic potato chips. He says she’s supposed to reduce her stress. He’s not taking any chances on her health. Josslyn comes in, and asks if she’s sick.

Sam meets Jason on the pier. She tells him that he should stop by and see the kids, but he says he’s going to be busy tailing her and Shiloh.

Harmony approaches Shiloh at the café, or whatever that new place is. He asks if she shouldn’t be in Beechers Corners, like they agreed. She says she needed to see him. She came to give him a warning.

Ava asks Franco, how he could do it? He told he that he loved Kiki, and would never hurt her. Jordan walks over, and Ava says she’s going. Ava wonders why Ryan is smiling, but he says he didn’t realize he was doing it. She asks if he’d mind telling her why, and he says, justice was done without the anguish of a trial. The nightmare is finished; it’s over for her. She says, it doesn’t make any sense. She wonders if Franco doesn’t understand the difference between innocence and guilt. Why would he plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit, especially this one? Ryan says perhaps her faith in Franco is misplaced.

Curtis tells Lulu that he’s making one last check-in before his service is no longer required. It’s all over the media. Lulu says she expected closure, but…

Jordan asks how Franco is. He says, before today, there was one person in the world who believed in him. Now, because of her and her stupid plan, he’s lost Elizabeth.

Elizabeth goes home. She takes a photo of her and Franco down off the mantel, and looks at it. She’s about to smash it, when the doorbell rings. It’s Drew. He holds her.

Finn tells Cabot the surgery seems to be successful. Anna says, it’s time for quid pro quo. Tell her how she contracted the virus. Cabot says she seems more anxious to talk to him than he was to see again. She says they had a deal. He says it was more like extortion. Exchanging his eyesight for information isn’t the act of a moral person. Finn asks if he’s going back on the deal, and Cabot asks if Finn is going to repossess his eyes if he doesn’t talk. Finn says he’ll need continued treatment. If he refuses to tell them what they want to know, treatment ain’t coming, and the blindness will reoccur. Cabot gives his word (like this means something); he won’t back out. Anna says, it’s the ethical thing to do. Cabot says he stipulated he’d give them the information in return for his eyesight. Until the bandages are removed, he has no way of knowing if they held up their end of the bargain. Robert says, it should be a half hour. Cabot says they might be in a hurry, but he has all the time in the world.

Ava tells Ryan that Julian was concerned she’s become dependent on him. Ryan says Julian is in no position to comment on their relationship. Did Julian get to her? Ava says when Ryan didn’t show up, her imagination got the better of her. Nice as it was to hear the words, she figures she’s not meant for love, and it’s the beginning of the end. He can’t believe she’s getting insecure about their relationship now. He’s in it for the long haul. She can’t start doubting when they’re so close. She says, close to what?

Jordan tells Franco that he can and will be exonerated. He asks what if the murderer doesn’t kill again? He’ll be stuck up the river. Jordan says, that’s not an option. He says the DA needs a win, and the people he loves are the most vulnerable. She knows it isn’t easy, but he’ll prove his innocence to the world. Isn’t that what he wants? He says, more than anything, he wants be with Elizabeth. She says, then make it happen. She’s going to get him to Ferncliff for his evaluation.

Still in the courtroom, Lulu thinks about going to the door in her office. She flashes back to thanking someone for taking the time to stop by. She almost falls over, but Curtis catches her.

Elizabeth asks Drew what she’s supposed to tell the boys. How can she look in their eyes? Drew asks if she thinks he did it, but she says, it makes no sense. Why would Franco say he murdered all those people? Cameron comes downstairs, and says, Franco did what?

Carly tells Josslyn that she just had her annual checkup. She’s okay, but just wants to take it easy with work. Josslyn was hoping to ask her something.

In the hallway, Finn asks Anna if she’s okay. She says, no, and he says he figured. She says the man in there somehow blinded her. How is that possible? He tells her, look on the bright side. Cabot was blinded too. Anna tells him that he always knows what to say.

Shiloh says Harmony could have called, texted, or emailed, but she drove out there. She says she made sure Jason had just enough information to satisfy him. Shiloh says, then Jason has been taken care of, and she says, except he hasn’t been. A man showed up asking questions, and she thinks it was a PI sent by Jason. She doesn’t think Shiloh knows what he’s up against. Jason is determined to bring him down, and she’s not letting the rest of them go down too.

Jason tells Sam there was an Incident in Beechers Corners. Shiloh has a heated argument with one of his followers. The follower quit, and turned up dead in a motel outside the compound. It was a drug overdose, and an investigation as to where the drugs came from. Shiloh was the prime suspect, and they were about to bring him in, when one of his followers confessed. Sound familiar?

Josslyn tells Carly that Oscar didn’t get his junior license. She gets why, but they were bummed. They went to see Cameron, since he has a license. Carly asks where they want to go, and Josslyn says, Niagara Falls. Oscar has never been there, and the weekend is coming up. Cameron could drive them. Carly asks if it would be like a double date, but Josslyn says Cameron and Trina are just friends. Carly isn’t comfortable with it. Josslyn says they’re not spending the night, since with a junior license, Cameron has to be back by midnight.

Cameron says, Franco admitted he did it? but Drew says, all he did was plead guilty. Elizabeth says she doesn’t know why; he didn’t tell her, but she knows in her heart Franco is innocent. Cameron says if she believes that, she’s completely lost her mind.

Ryan tells Ava that they’re so close to living the life they want, where they can put the pain behind them. He needs her to believe that. She says the pain of losing her daughter will never be behind her. He knows she’s been disappointed by people, but he’s not one of them, and will prove it. He takes her hand, and asks her to marry him.

Curtis takes Lulu to the hospital. Sonny sees them, and asks if she’s okay. She says she was just lightheaded; it was nothing. Curtis says, it was something. She passed out at the courthouse. Lulu says she wasn’t unconscious, but Curtis says she had no balance and no clear sense of where she was. She says Franco pled guilty, and she wasn’t expecting it. Sonny says, that sick SOB killed Kiki? Curtis says Lulu’s vitals are fine, and no one blames her if it was too much. She says, it wasn’t about what happened. She was prepared, but when they took Franco away, she had the overwhelming feeling something was very wrong.

Ava says Ryan isn’t serious, and he says, as a heart attack. She says, for starters, he’s already married. He says, technically. He’s not saying right this second. They have to get a permit. Um… I think it’s called a license. She says, it’s too soon after Kiki’s death. He tells her, the moment they connected, he knew what he’d been missing his entire life. He wants them to spend their lives together, here or on the other side of the world. He belongs to her, and hopes she feels the same way. He wants to be her husband. He feels more like a god when he treats her like the goddess she is. She says he’s already married to Laura, but he says, not for long.

Jordan takes Franco to Ferncliff. He changes into the regulation garb, is searched, and has his picture taken. He’s led to a cell, and the door closes loudly behind him.

Sam tells Jason, it’s starting to make sense. Daisy took the fall for sending her the emails, but there’s a big difference between harassment and murder. Jason says Shiloh is more of a threat than they originally thought. Sam says, then it’s more important than ever that she go with him.

Harmony tells Shiloh that his arrogance will be the downfall of them all. He’s not the only one who stands to lose if Jason keeps digging. He needs to leave Port Charles, lay low, and stay out of Jason’s way. Shiloh says she needs to go back to Beechers Corners like they agreed. As long as she keeps sending him updates, everything will be fine.

Jason tells Sam that they need to know what they’re dealing with. Sam says Shiloh has a history of manipulating women. He’s manipulated Kristina, and now he’s working on her. The sooner they get something criminal on him, the sooner they get Kristina out of there. Jason says he’ll be tailing her every step, and tells her to keep the cell phone GPS monitor on. They just found their way back to each other. He can’t risk losing her.

Harmony asks Shiloh what’s up with him and Sam? He says he finds her fascinating. Harmony asks what’s the real reason, and he says she has an Interest in the program. He thinks it’s time he takes her to the tower. She asks, why tempt fate? He says if he keeps Sam close, the more distant she’ll become with Jason. Harmony is concerned that once Jason is done with Shiloh, he’ll come after the rest of them. He says the students have to trust that their teacher knows what he’s doing. She hopes he does.

Carly tells Josslyn that Cameron isn’t an experienced driver. Josslyn says it will be during the day. Carly asks, what if there’s a storm or Oscar has a seizure? Josslyn says they’ll take him to the hospital or home. Carly asks if she ran it past Kim. Since there’s no answer on that, Carly says they weren’t planning on letting her know, were they?

Cameron says, now Franco confessed? but Elizabeth says, he didn’t do it. He asks if she’s listening to herself. Franco is saying he’s guilty, and she refuses to listen. She’s in a toxic relationship with a murderer, and she can’t see what it’s doing to them, taking him back over and over. She’s sick. Drew tells him not to talk to his mother that way. Cameron says Drew can’t talk to him that way. If she doesn’t care enough to tell his brothers the truth, he will. He storms out.

In Franco’s cell, Jordan asks how he’s holding up. He’s not sure, and tells her to check in a few days and see if he’s been drugged. She says he’ll be fine. He’s only there for a two-week evaluation. He tells her to ask Carly. A lot can happen in a short time. She says if anything does, she’ll make sure he gets an audience with the mayor. He says if they realize he’s not the one who attacked Lulu, it might put Elizabeth in the crosshairs.

Lulu asks if it’s weird that she only remembers part of the attack, and Curtis says, the mind protects you by choosing what you remember, and when. She wishes her brain would trust her more. She remembers Franco coming at her with the knife, but not how she got away. Curtis says, by Franco pleading guilty, there isn’t a trial. She won’t get to tell her story for the record. Lulu says that doesn’t mean she’s given up her voice. Robert joins them, and thanks Sonny for coming. Sonny thanks him for reaching out. He says he has sensitive information, but Sonny says he can talk in front of Lulu. Lulu asks if it’s about Dante. Did the Bureau find him?

Anna tells Cabot to open is eyes. He says, thank God, and Finn, for giving him back the gift of sight. Anna asks Cabot to tell her now how she contracted the virus that blinded them, how it’s connected to the DVX, and why her sister was involved? He says the last question is the easiest. Her sister was one of their subjects, and an ideal one. Anna asks, why? and he says, isn’t it obvious? Because she was Anna’s twin.

Anna asks if they were using Alex as a conduit to get to her. He says it wasn’t because Alex was her twin, but a twin. An identical twin. The initial study linked the physical and emotional reactions, and in some sets, they felt what the other was feeling, sharing both pain and joy. Finn says the studies aren’t legit, and Cabot says, not yet, but if the link exists, imagine the possibilities? Especially for those trained in diplomatic secrets. Finn says his first thought is always how a covert op can benefit from his work. Cabot says it’s worked for the enemy, and Anna was perfect for the study. Finn asks if this means he worked for the DVX. Anna thinks he’s lying.

Lulu knows Sonny asked Robert to find Dante. Robert says they tracked him to Turkey. There was a rumor Rog was working in the area, and Dante followed him.

Josslyn asks Carly, please be reasonable, then says, forget it. Carly says, hold on. How about if she and Sonny take off work for the weekend. They’ll drive to Niagara Falls, and stay there, the four of them. It will be a whole lot of fun. Josslyn thinks, that depends on your definition of fun. Carly says it’s her best offer. Cameron comes in, and Josslyn says they were just talking about him, but they’re definitely done. She takes Cameron out on the terrace, and says his timing couldn’t be more perfect. Her mom is being impossible. He asks if she wants to trade. His mom married a serial killer. Franco pled guilty, and admitted to the murders, but she’s too blind to realize she married a monster.

Elizabeth asks Drew, what if Cameron is right, and she’s lying to herself? Drew asks what her gut tells her. She says, the same thing as her heart. Franco didn’t kill anyone, and there’s a reason why he pled guilty. She hates that he didn’t trust her enough to tell her what’s going on. If they don’t have trust, what do they have? Drew asks, what’s next?

Franco tells Jordan that he wants 24-hour surveillance on Elizabeth and the boys. Jordan wonders whose pet she ran over in a former life to get this job. She would have to explain the real reason. Franco says, and if it leaks out, all this will be for nothing. She says as long as the killer is focused on him, he won’t focus on Elizabeth. When Franco takes credit for the killer’s work, he won’t be able resist.

Ryan tells Ava that Laura understands why the marriage has to end. She won’t stand in their way. The only people who can stand in their way are Ava and him, and it won’t be him. Ava says she’s never been married, and he tells her that she was just waiting for the right man. He knows he’s not on one knee, and can’t promise there will be no adversity, but whatever they face, he can promise they’ll face it together. What does she say?

Anna says if they believe Cabot, his study would require a set of twins. She never did a study. Cabot says, not willingly, but she did. She just doesn’t remember.

Lulu asks how they’re going to bring Dante home, and Robert says he’s working on it. That’s as much as he can tell her; sorry. She says, her too, and leaves. Sonny asks what Robert is saying, and Robert says, Dante has gone rogue. He’s acting as a private citizen, and the Bureau is hesitant to help. They don’t want to create an international incident. Sonny asks if Robert is planning to leave his son out in the cold.

On the phone with Olivia, Carly says nothing is wrong. She has a lot going on at home, and was hoping to go over the calendar.

Cameron tells Josslyn that Franco confessed to everything, and his mom is in complete denial. He couldn’t be a part of her standing by that psycho no matter how his brothers get hurt. He had to get out. Josslyn says she does too. She suggests they leave for their trip tomorrow. What does he say?

Elizabeth tells Drew that she has no idea what this means for their marriage. They agreed no more secrets – ever. Drew doesn’t know how realistic that is. Everyone keeps secrets, even with the best intentions. He’s sure Franco has a good reason. She says, he’d better. Drew says it sounds like she’s not giving up. She knows with everything in her that he’s innocent, and she’s going to continue to fight for him. He says, it has to be rough, but she says she’s ready. He thought maybe she might want the rings that she left behind. He puts them on the table. She says, maybe. Not right now, but hopefully soon she’ll be ready to put them back on. He puts on his coat, and asks fi she’s okay. She nods.

Franco asks Jordan, how is she so sure the killer won’t be thrilled, and get on with his life? She says, he needs the spotlight. Pleading guilty is one thing, but taking credit for his genius and ingenuity, and stepping into the spotlight he’s created? He won’t like it. Franco asks how he’s going to steal the spotlight.

Ava says Ryan is insane. He says he’s been called worse. She says, what the hell? Let’s do it. They kiss.

Jason tells Sam that he’ll know where she is at all times. If anything goes wrong, he’ll be there. Sam’s phone rings. She says, it’s him. Shiloh asks where she is, and she says she’s just getting home. He’s figuring they should meet at the MetroCourt, and go from there. She says it’s going to be dark out by the time they get there. Is he sure he wants to go tonight? He says, absolutely sure. Is she having second thoughts? She says she’s excited to see it; whatever it is. He says it’s going to change her life.

Tomorrow, Franco says he’s telling Elizabeth the truth, Laura yells for help, and Jason says they have to make sure Shiloh isn’t playing Sam.

🎥 Sorry. No Top Chef tonight. I’m still sick, and I’m hoping to be in dreamland by the time the rerun is on. At 8 pm, Dr. Phil won out with Instagram personalities (debatable) whose lives were being ruined by social media. Actual Instagram personality Amanda Cerny joined them via SKYPE, and hit the nail on the head by pointing out the problem was they had no lives outside of social media. One guy was very sweet and seemed to already understand his issues, but another guest was a horrifying girl who put the narcissist in narcissist, and claimed she would be dead without social media. She also said, no offense, but old people are ugly. Dr. Phil asked how he wasn’t supposed to take offense to that, and she said – because I said no offense. Clearly, she overestimates the power of her words, and I can’t wait for her to get old.
