What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

At court, Diane tells Sonny it could be worse. She’s going to try to steer Jason through his testimony, but if they’re not careful, he could wind up sending Carly to prison.

Kim tells Nelle and Michael there are no complications from the fall. Nelle says, good news for a change, and Kim says she’s headed into the homestretch. Nelle can’t believe they’re starting a new chapter. She takes Michael’s hand, and says, they’re so lucky.

Alexis twirls the envelope around, holds it up to the light, and decides to open it. Just as she’s about to, the doorbell rings. It’s Nina, who would like Alexis to handle her divorce.

Obrecht wakes Peter by tapping his face. She hopes he got a good night’s sleep. They have an eventful morning ahead.

Anna is wound up, and Finn asks if everything is all right. He doesn’t know Robin well, but from what he does know, she’s as remarkable as her mother. Anna says Robin leaves her in the dust. Finn knows Robin is capable of understanding; if not today, eventually. She hopes he’s right. There’s a knock at the door, and he asks if she’s ready. Anna says, no, and he tells her she still has to open the door. Robin sees Finn, and wiggles her eyebrows

Carly is uncuffed, and hugs Sonny, glad she can touch him. Diane says if all goes according to plan, she won’t have them back on. Carly asks if Doc sent her records. Diane says he did, and coupled with her medical history, it would be unheard of for the judge not to accept the plea. Carly says, looks like she’s going to Shadybrook.

Julian comes by Kim’s office. He asks if she’s avoiding him because he chased after Alexis.

Nina tells Alexis not to be surprise; she knows Alexis can’t stand Valentin. Alexis says Nina could. Nina says there have been too many secrets. She’s not living the rest of her life waiting for the other shoe to drop. Alexis says she can’t represent her.

Elizabeth asks how Kiki is feeling, and Kiki says, exhausted. Every time she closes her eyes, a feeling of dread washes over her. Elizabeth says it might help if she talks about it, and Kiki thought that’s what they were doing. Elizabeth suggests talking to Franco, but Kiki says the last thing she needs is for Franco to get violent. Elizabeth doesn’t think that would happen, but respects her decision. It’s her story to tell. Kiki hopes HR does the right thing. The thought of seeing David’s face again makes her – and there he is. David tells her good morning, and smirks.

Robin says it’s good to see Anna – and Finn. Together. Anna says it’s a long story, and Finn says he’ll give them a chance to catch up. He’s going to get coffee. After he leaves, Robin says they seem close. She’s assuming it’s not for show this time. She was a little insulted that Anna wasn’t staying with them, but she understands why now. She asks if Anna is going to state the obvious; she was totally right. She asks about Maxie, and Anna says she’s fine, and James is doing wonderfully. Robin says Maxie deserves something wonderful after what happened with Peter. Anna interrupts her, and Robin asks if everything is all right. Anna says, no, it’s not.

Diane tells Carly that they all agree Shadybrook is better than the alternative. Carly wonders how long she’ll have to stay, and Diane says until she’s deemed healed. They have to maintain a fine balance; there’s a difference between crazy and crazy in all caps. She tells Carly to maintain her cool. She asks if Sonny wants to tell Carly, or should she?

Nelle makes her next appointment, and Michael says he’ll clear his schedule. She says he doesn’t have to be at every appointment, but he insists. He asks if she wants a ride home. She’s not going home, but he says he can give her a ride wherever. She sighs, and he asks what’s with the top secret location? Nelle tells him that she’s been subpoenaed to testify against his mom.

Obrecht removes Peter’s gag. He starts yelling, and she puts her hand over his mouth. She tells him that they’re in the middle of nowhere; there’s no one to help. He needs to save his vocal chords. He’s going to need them. He asks for what, and she says his confession. He’s going to tell world what he did.

Elizabeth asks if there’s something she can help David with, but he says they’ve done quite enough already. He had an interesting talk with HR about Kiki being uncomfortable with his behavior. Kiki says she made it clear to him, and doesn’t think it’s an appropriate discussion to have right now. He tells her that he just wanted her to know the matter was handled. He listened to her concerns. She was clearly upset about the misunderstanding. She says, misunderstanding? He threatened to give her a negative evaluation if she didn’t have sex with him. He says that’s not how he remembers it. He already submitted her evaluation, and it’s glowing. HR has wrapped up the case, and he’s confident they can put this ugly matter behind them. Kiki practically trips over herself getting out of there.

Anna tells Robin, something happened in her past that she never shared with anyone. She told herself it was because she was trying to protect Robin. That’s partly true, but she thinks she just wanted to bury the whole thing rather than deal with it. Robin asks what it has to do with Peter, and Anna says, Peter is her son.

Sonny tells Carly not to get worked up. She says their cryptic secrecy is working her up. Whose testimony are they worried about? Diane says, Nelle, and Carly says, the powerful mob wife picking on the poor pregnant girl. Diane suggests they strategize during Nelle’s testimony, so it doesn’t end up like yesterday. Sonny asks, what happened yesterday?

Kim tells Julian she’s not upset if he wanted to be with someone else. He asks if her feelings weren’t hurt when he chased after Alexis, and she says maybe more than she expected. She was wondering what happened. For all she knew, they got back together. He says, not exactly.

Alexis tells Nina that Valentin is her brother; it could be considered a conflict of interest. Whoever he chooses to represent him would pounce on the connection. She says it’s a grey area legally, but if the judge sees a conflict, Nina will have to start from scratch. Nina gets it, but since she’s here, she has some legal questions – hypothetical, of course. She asks if she knew of a crime, would she be liable to report it? Alexis says just knowing isn’t being complicit, but it’s a moot point because of spousal privilege. Nina says what if it has nothing to do with Valentin.

Finn orders coffee and a scone. He hears someone say his name. A man says, I’ll be damned. No hug for your old man?

Robin is shocked that Anna has a son with Faison, and asks how it happened. Did he…? Anna says, no; it wasn’t rape. Robin asks her to explain how she willingly had sex with him, and Anna tells her that she wouldn’t say willingly. She was young; it was probably her first op. She thought she’d set him up, and got herself in a situation she couldn’t get out of safely without revealing who she was. She was pregnant, and didn’t know what to do. She thought the best decision was to have the baby in secret, and give him up for adoption. She gave the baby away, not even holding him. She thought she was doing the best thing for the baby. Faison’s obsession was real, and growing, and would have been transferred to the child. Robin says, so she walked away and never looked back. Anna says she’s thought about the baby every day of her life.

Diane tells Sonny that Nelle paid a visit to his wife, and she lost it. He asks if it doesn’t prove she should be in Shadybrook. Diane says theatrics in small doses helps, but she doesn’t want to end up spending more time there than necessary. She tells Carly not to lose her cool when Nelle testifies.

Nelle tells Michael that she’s in an awkward position. She knows he loves his mom, but at the same time… Michael finishes, she has to tell the truth. Nelle says, not according to Sonny. Michael asks if she talked to his dad, and she says, sorry; she shouldn’t have said anything. Michael asks what he said, and Nelle tells him that Sonny asked her to lie on the stand.

Kim wonders what she’s supposed to say; sorry Alexis rejected Julian? It doesn’t make her feel better. Julian says it’s more complicated than that. He made an overture, but Alexis made it clear they’re not good for each other. That’s nothing new, but it’s the first time, instead of fighting it, he realized she was right. He was only following a knee-jerk reaction to save her. He has a desperate impulse to rescue Alexis. Not only does she not want that, it’s not his job. Kim says it sounds like he got clarity, and Julian says he did. He’s hoping beyond hope that he didn’t mess things up between them. He wants to see where it’s going – if she’s game.

Alexis asks if Nina has something she needs to tell her, or the police. Nina says, it’s hypothetical, remember? The doorbell rings. It’s Kiki, who asks if it’s a bad time. Nina says she was just leaving and thanks Alexis. She asks if Kiki is good, and Kiki says, yeah. She goes inside, and Alexis says she’s not good, is she? She asks how she can help, and Kiki says she wanted to talk to Alexis, as both a lawyer and woman. Alexis says if that’s not a conversation starter, she doesn’t know what is. Kiki says it’s kind of awkward, since she was seeing him for a while. Alexis says she’ll have to be more specific, and Kiki says, Dr. Bensch. Alexis says, David? What about him? Kiki tells her that he’s been sexually harassing her.

Finn asks what his father is doing there, and his father says he could ask the same thing. Berkley made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. He says Harrison (Chase) said Finn is a big deal in Port Charles. He’s glad they wound up in the same place; it’s good to have family around. Finn says they don’t see much of each other. His father tells him that Harrison said that. He heard about Blackwood, but Finn says he doesn’t want to pretend everything is fine. His father says it could be, if Finn let it. He’s missed him. He tried reaching out after Rieko died. Finn tells him not to talk about her. His father says he could relate. Finn says they handled their grief differently, and his father asks if he hasn’t found someone since his loss.

Robin don’t know what to say, and Anna tells her to say whatever she’s feeling, but she doesn’t know. She understands Anna was in an impossible situation, and did what she thought was best then, but it was a long time ago. She didn’t once think to tell her that she had a brother? Not just any brother, but the son of the man who kidnapped her. He could be threat. They could have all ended up like Nathan. Anna says Peter only has a grudge with her; no one else. He knows, even though she promised herself she wouldn’t tell him. Robin asks if Anna was never going to tell her, and Anna says she was going to take it to her grave. only reason looked for her son, is that he might have been a carrier of Huntington’s disease. Robin says it all makes sense. It’s why she was overly invested in the case, and working with Jason. Anna says when Jason found him, she needed to be there. Robin says, to keep Jason from killing him. That’s why she left the Nurses’ Ball early. Anna says she had to get there first. Jason saved her life; Robin is right about him. To stop things from escalating, she had to tell Peter that she was his mom. She doesn’t know if it’s generous or selfish, but her daughter is the love of her life. When Robin was born, she made pact that she’d be different for her, and she changed. She never wanted Robin to see her the way she was, and look at her differently. The way she’s looking right now.

Finn’s father says he loved Finn’s mother, and Finn says, so did he. His father is sorry if Finn thinks he moved on too soon, but he can’t apologize for finding happiness again. He hopes Finn does too. Finn is happy, and wants to leave it at that. His father asks if she lives in Berkeley, and Finn says her family does. His father says meeting family? He takes it that it’s serious. Finn says it’s early yet, and his father says finding someone to love who loves you back is a gift. He’s probably pushing It, but he’d love to take them out to dinner. Finn says they have plans, but thanks. His father says they can get together for Harrison’s birthday, and Finn asks if he’s coming to Port Charles.

Robin says she’s trying hard to put herself in Anna’s shoes. She wants to see it from her point of view. She knows Anna’s world enough to know it was part of the job. She had no one to look after her, and her career was her whole life. She can understand what it felt like; alone and terrified. She can understand why she’d have and give away the baby; she felt like it was the only option. Anna says, it did, but she’s not making excuses. Robin knows that rationally, she can process it; emotionally… Anna is her mom, and she’s looked up to her for her entire life. Right now, she doesn’t know who Anna is.

Alexis tells Kiki that her relationship with David was short-lived, but it doesn’t sound like the man she knew. Kiki is sorry to burst her bubble. Alexis tells her, don’t be. Kiki’s plan is to take him to court, and asks if Alexis thinks she should. Alexis doesn’t know what her role could be, given their history. Kiki says she didn’t expect Alexis to represent her. She thought since Alexis is a public figure, the relationship might come up, so she’s giving her a heads up. Alexis appreciates that. She asks if Kiki has any proof she was harassed. The court needs more than just her word. Kiki says she has a diary of instances, and Alexis thinks that’s good, but asks if she has anything tangible; a recording or a witness who can corroborate her accusations. Kiki says she was awarded a position she’s not qualified for.

Julian tells Kim that he was so worried about what he’d lost, he didn’t stop to appreciate what happened between them. Kim asks if he’s trying to say he has feelings for her, and he says, yes. He’s sorry he didn’t take better care of hers. She says she is too. He asks if she means, her too, get lost, or her too, you get a second chance? She says it depends. Does he still have the espresso machine? He says he does, and has one at the place he fixed up. She says then he can have a second chance. He’s happy to hear that, and kisses her.

Obrecht asks why Peter is so silent. They have so much to discuss. He asks what happens if he won’t confess, and she takes out a huge knife. He says he’d hate to disappoint her, but he’d rather die than spend his life in prison. She says she’s not killing him, and slides the knife down his arm. She acts like she’s going to cut off a finger, and Nina walks in with groceries. She asks what Obrecht is doing.

Finn’s father says Harrison is a good kid. Finn says he barely knows him. He’s been married, widowed, an addict, and a recovering person. His family’s not there anymore. His father asks if after twenty years, is what he did that awful? He tells Finn to take care of himself and leaves.

Anna tells Robin that she’s the same person she’s always been. Robin says she’s been keeping an enormous secret; how can she be? If things had gone the way they were supposed to, she never would have known. The worst part is, the whole time Robin didn’t know her. Anna says, she did, but Robin says, not the whole her. She thought when her babies were born, Anna’s tears were happy, but there must have been another part of her breaking, when she held her grandchildren. She doesn’t know what to do with this, and needs time. It’s a lot. Anna says she can ask any questions. She says everything she’s shared and did is as real as it gets. She tells Robin that she loves her, and after a silence so long, we think she’s not going to say it, Robin says she loves Anna too, but there’s no hug. Anna sits on the bed, head in hands, and cries.

Nina tells Obrecht the deal is off if she hurts him; she won’t be a party to murder. Peter says, thanks, and Obrecht says, go to hell. Nina is questioning her commitment to the plan. She has too much to lose. Obrecht says they’re in that deep. Nina says a lawyer told her that her liability is limited if she doesn’t report a crime. As long as she doesn’t help, she’s in the clear. Obrecht laughs, and asks what she calls all this, pointing at what Nina brought. Nina says, groceries, and Obrecht says, sustenance to carry out the plan. It’s called aiding and abetting. Obrecht bites into an apple, and says, isn’t it delicious?

Kiki tells Alexis that she got the position because of David. She got the position because he wanted to have sex with her. Alexis asks if he took her tests, and says she got the position on her own merit. If his behavior is this extreme, there’s been a pattern, and the progression has gotten worse. They need to find another victim. Kiki says, we? and Alexis tells to forget what she said. This is important. If Kiki wants a lawyer, she’s got one.

Michael tells Nelle that his dad is just trying to protect his mom. Nelle gets that, but doesn’t have a choice. She can’t risk her baby. She has to tell what happened, whether she wants to or not. Carly pushed her, and nearly killed the both of them. She wants what’s best for her family. Michael says he wants the same thing. Nelle asks if they’re in this together, and he says, absolutely. Nelle goes to the bathroom, and Michael takes out his phone. He calls Spinelli. He tells him it’s time to make a move against Nelle. She created the situation, and he’ll do whatever it takes to get his mom out of it.

Diane needs verbal confirmation that Carly will keep it together while Nelle is on the stand. Sonny says they’re going to beat this. Carly says they’d better, and asks if he believes 100% that it’s the way to go. He does, and she says she’ll trust him. They hug.

Tomorrow, Lulu doesn’t believe Nelle, Kiki needs help from someone, and Josslyn takes the stand.

The Real Housewives of New York City

Bethenny tells her driver, Kevin, that she’s going to Chicago to speak at a business conference while Brynn is at school. She’ll be none the wiser. She tells him there are two temperatures in Chicago right now – cold and cold AF.

Ramona picks up Dorinda, who’s using a cane. She tells us that she dropped a Christofle salt shaker on her foot. She hadn’t taken it out since Richard died, and thought she deserved to use it. The best laid plans…

Tinsley calls Carole, and asks how California is. She’s jealous because it’s cold. She says she was in Palm Beach when LuAnn was arrested. Carole says she got a call from a friend, and assumed it was a DUI. She googled it, and it was more complicated than that. We see a news clip. Carole was scared for her; it’s not a good place to be. All she knows is what she read, and Tinsley says she was only a few blocks away from where it all went down. She feels badly because she knows how the press can be. Tinsley tells Carole about calling LuAnn and inviting her to her mother’s house for a drink. They laugh about the inappropriateness of the invite.

Ramona tells Dorinda that she hasn’t spoken to LuAnn. Dorinda thinks she’s trying to check out and get better, and not listen to the noise. In her interview, Dorinda says LuAnn is in rehab, and the accusations are pretty major. She doesn’t think LuAnn is ready to be back in polite society. She tells Ramona sometimes God stops you when you’re not recognizing you need to stop. Preach it, sister! Ramona says LuAnn was self-medicating. She was going it during her divorce, and drinking too much. In her interview, Ramona says this was an out of control situation. It was in a public place and the police were involved. It’s bad. She and Dorinda talk about LuAnn going back to the same place where she was with Tom. Dorinda says she stayed at the place where she had her engagement party. Why go where she might run into Tom? Dorinda says if she’d known, she would have done everything in her power to stop her.

Bethenny says she’s proud to have been along on one of LuAnn’s last big nights out. In her interview, she says she has no idea what it must be like from LuAnn’s perspective. She’s in rehab and got arrested. She could deny, blame, accept it, evolve, or cry and be vulnerable; there’s a million ways she could react. She tells Kevin that LuAnn is in a 21-day program. Someday, Keven should write a book. She’s not sure if the amount of time will be effective. Kevin says, it depends on the person. She says it will be interesting to see LuAnn healthy and fresh. In her interview, Bethenny says LuAnn had a sh*t year. She couldn’t crash and burn like that, and have it not affect her. She was a pressure cooker ready to explode. Bethenny tells Kevin that nothing good happens after midnight, and strange people come out at four in the morning. I think about this, and decide she’s probably right.

Tinsley tells Carole, having been in Palm Beach handcuffs, she doesn’t know how LuAnn escaped them We see LuAnn in the police car, telling them to let her out; she did nothing wrong. Tinsley is sure she was hit hard the next day. Carole asks if LuAnn spent the night in jail, and if it was the same one. Tinsley says, yes, and calls it Gun Club Row. In her interview, Tinsley says even though they both have mug shots, the situation is different. Hers was a misdemeanor, and LuAnn is facing four felonies. Carole says her flight is coming in an hour before Bethenny’s party, so she’s not going.

Dorinda asks Ramona if she’s going to the SkinnyGirl jeans launch party, and Ramona says she’s not invited. We flash back to Bethenny’s phone call to her. Dorinda says she felt like she and Bethenny were in a good place, until the nutcracker. Ramona says she thought they were in a good place too, then Bethenny called to chastise her. Dorinda says she needs to be around people who make her feel safe, secure, and happy, or she’d rather be alone. Ramona says what a bunch they are.

At Sonja’s townhouse, everything is covered in plastic. Plastic walls surround Sonja’s bed, and she’s sitting amongst a bunch of junk on the bed like it’s Grey Gardens. She’s happy Tinsley is offering her a place to stay. She can’t stay during construction, because she’s allergic to dust and mites, and can’t find her underwear. She goes through her papers. When she saw what happened, she texted LuAnn. She says LuAnn is strong get through it, but she’s a proud woman. She wants LuAnn to know she’s there, but not sticking her nose in it. She talks to herself as she goes through her paperwork.

Ramona doesn’t have to work, but enjoys it, and is working on her skincare line. She’s working with a doctor, Amy Lewis, and visits the office. She’s excited to be working with a top clinical lab, and shows Any the serum. Amy says when Ramona first approached her, she was skeptical, but now she’s impressed. Ramona says she’s a maven when she’s involved with something. She becomes not just passionate, but intelligent about it. I think what she means is, educated, an shake my head at the irony. In her interview, Ramona says Bethenny’s reaction to her new business was mean. She thinks to be successful, you have to look forward, focus on yourself, and forget the naysayers.

Bethenny feels unsettled, and tells Kevin that she’s seeing Carole tomorrow. They’ve had a rough patch, but she doesn’t know what’s going on. She’d thought their beef was over, and texted Carole over the holidays. She felt depressed and sad, and sent Carole a picture of them, saying she missed her and she seems cold. Carole texted back, that’s a lot. She tells Kevin that Carole texted later, saying everybody has their sh*t, and they’ll talk next year. Bethenny says, it’s next year. On top of it Dorinda is upset that Bethenny didn’t thank her properly for the nutcracker. We see a clip where Dorinda shows Bethenny the nutcracker on her phone, says it’s coming to her house, and Bethenny freaks out, which changes the perspective a little. Bethenny says they’ll see how that goes, and at this point, I’m feeling sorry for Kevin.

Bethenny arrives at the launch party, going down “SkinnyGirl alley,” where there are a lot of logos and neon. She says there’s something about the spirit of brand. It’s all inclusive, and the plus sizes are on the same rack as the zeros. She’s excited. At the bar, Tinsley asks for red wine, but it’s not an option, so she gets a martini. In her interview, she says she had to break up with Tito, but there’s no red wine, she’s having vodka. Sonja walks in wearing a Russian fur hat with earflaps. She asks the bartender for an olive, explaining that she’s having construction done. There’s no food in her house, and she only eats vegetables. In her interview, Sonja says everyone had better steer clear. She’ll trample them for an olive. A waiter offers to get her a falafel.

Sonja says she’s a vegan, but allows herself shellfish because it’s raw, and hits the raw bar with gusto. The CEO of Bethenny’s partner company introduces her. She thanks everyone. She’s excited about the partnership, and says it’s a female empowerment brand. In her interview, she says everyone looks beautiful in the jeans. We see several women of various sizes, mingling, and she’s right. I want a pair. Dorinda arrives, saying neither rain nor snow will keep her away. Sonja says all her essentials are on her four-poster bed. In her interview, Tinsley feels the need to let Sonja know how grateful she is. Bethenny asks if Dorinda is mad, but Dorinda says she’s done with it. She was sensitive at the time. Bethenny says she can’t do everything perfect, and says Dorinda didn’t act perfect in PR, which is an understatement. In her interview, Dorinda says Bethenny doesn’t just use your worst moments against you; she does it every time, and waits for it. She says it’s like Jaws. Just when you think it’s safe to go in, you’ve lost a leg. Bethenny asks why Dorinda didn’t talk to her, and Dorinda says Ramona pointed out that there was no thank you. In her interview, Bethenny says Dorinda likes to throw someone else under the bus along with her. Bethenny tells Dorinda that if not for her, she wouldn’t have saved Christmas, and they hug. Sonja and Tinsley talk about LuAnn. Sonja couldn’t believe she went to Palm Beach, and Tinsley says she didn’t realize what her mind would do when she got there. A server brings a martini for Tinsley. Sonja tells him that Tinsley has a boyfriend, but she’s single.

Tinsley asks if Dorinda has talked to LuAnn. Dorinda says she didn’t see it coming, but knew all was not well. LuAnn is a crime scene goer. Tinsley thinks she wanted to prove she’s fine. In her interview, Tinsley says that Palm Beach is the smallest place on earth. There are few hotels and restaurants. The chances of bumping into Tom were a given. She risked it, and it didn’t work out well.  Bethenny joins them, and again, Tinsley wonders how LuAnn got out of the handcuffs. They laugh about it. Sonja asks if the server has a driver’s license, and finds out he’s twenty-six. In her interview, Sonja says he’s out of range. Either they have to be in their early 20s and not trying to live off of her, or already established. He’ll be labor intensive. Sonja says she’s proud of Bethenny, and that she’s an inspiration.

Carole and Bethenny meet for lunch. Bethenny tells Carole that she literally had forty tequila shots last night. Am I the only one on earth that hates tequila? She says she went to bed at four in the morning, and found her hairpieces in a potato chip bag when she woke up. Carole orders a bloody Mary for her. Carole says even though they’ve texted, LuAnn hasn’t told her anything but story. It’s amazing, and her favorite part is LuAnn getting out of the handcuffs. I have to add my vote to this. It is pretty mystifying. In her interview, Bethenny would love a new normal with Carole. She says she doesn’t know what’s gong on, and asks if Carole is upset with her. She mentions Carole’s text, and says she doesn’t think it was a lot. Carole thinks it was. She didn’t know the friendship had shifted (word of the episode), until Dorinda told her about Bethenny saying Carole hadn’t supported her efforts in PR. She also told Carole what Bethenny had said about Adam’s alleged lack of support. Carole tells Bethenny there’s been a new vibe; she’s been more aggressive and dismissive, but Carole gave her a pass, and isn’t upset about Adam. She wondered why Bethenny was upset, and wanted to talk to her in the Berkshires, but all Bethenny wanted to do was say the friendship shifted, and it was natural; it’s just the way it is. Bethenny says everyone has been generous with the charity. She was taken aback by Adam, but doesn’t think he’s a bad person. Carole says she was talking smack about Adam, and Bethenny says she thought they were broken up. In her interview, Bethenny says Carole and Adam’s relationship has had different shifts (what did I say?); they’re living together, they’re friends with benefits, they’re taking a break, who knows? Carole says his motives are good, and Bethenny says, sorry, it’s none of her business. When she sees a different side of someone and there’s aggressive conversation, there’s a little bit of a sting. In her interview, it bothers Carole that Adam’s actions were interpreted in a negative light, and Bethenny talked to everyone but her. Bethenny says she loves Carole and misses her. It hurt over the holidays. Carole says she needed space. Bethenny asks if three sentences is a lot. Carole says that’s’ what Bethenny says happened, but it’s not what actually happened.

Carole says she opened her phone in LA and Bethenny started texting about Ramona being a horrible person. Carole didn’t want to deal with it or rehash anything. In her interview, Carole says Bethenny is leaving out that she thought it was too big of a conversation for texting, and suggested getting together when she got back, but Bethenny didn’t stop texting. When Carole got back, she texted Bethenny, and here we are. She mentions that Ramona told her Bethenny thought she was depressed. Bethenny says she thought Carole seemed sad, and asks if there’s a gag order on her. Carole says, if Bethenny had a breakup, she wouldn’t go to someone else, and say she seemed sad and lonely. In her interview, Carole says Bethenny knows she’s not crying over it, and it feels gossipy. That’s not being a friend. Bethenny says Carole is debating her. She’s sorry Carole is upset, but they’re friends. Bethenny asks what Carole wants, and Carole says not an apology. Bethenny feels Carole is being critical and picking on everything with her. Carole wants her to understand why she was keeping her distance, and that she thought there was a lot of talk going on without her. Bethenny says she’d thought the breakup might have been traumatic; they’d been together a long time. Carole says if they’d been in a good place, she would have shrugged it off. Bethenny says she’s sorry. Adam is a good person, and she loves Carole. Carole hesitates, but they hug. In her interview, Carole says the conversation was just circling the drain, so it was better to hug it out. Bethenny doesn’t want this to happen again; this was like going to couple’s therapy. Carole asks if Bethenny thinks they should go to couple’s therapy.

Tinsley makes up the bed for Sonja. In her interview, Tinsley is glad she’s able to help Sonja, since Sonja helped her. Sonja arrives, and Tinsley tells her, the rules are, there are no rules. She has to take the elevator – we see Sonja leading Tinsley up the stairs, saying the elevator gets stuck; she’s allowed to have anyone over, the more the merrier – we see Sonja telling Tinsley that she can’t bring anyone home; and she’s allowed deliveries, which the doormen will accept 24/7 – we see Sonja yelling that Tinsley needs to get her own person to accept her deliveries. Touché three times over. Tinsley has another surprise. Sonja has the penthouse suite for the night. Tinsley takes her upstairs, where there are appetizers and champagne waiting, as well as a Louis Vuitton tote with a robe and slippers in it. Sonja says she’ll wake up tomorrow like she deserves this room. Things must be going really well at Coupon Cabin.

Luann calls Dorinda from rehab. Dorinda thinks she’s in the right place. LuAnn can’t believe what happened. In her interview, she says she was invited to wedding in Chile. She was going to Palm Beach to stay with a friend for one or two nights; no one would even know she was there. They weren’t even going out. Then she was going to spend Christmas with her family in Jupiter. She tells Dorinda it turned out differently than she’d planned. She thought she could handle it, but the memories came back. It was altogether too much. She couldn’t do it, and never should have gone back. In her interview, she says she went to lunch where they used to; had cocktails where they loved to go, and sat in the same spot; and she stayed in the hotel where she had her wedding luncheon. Why did she do that to herself? She’s not proud, but she’s learning a lot, and finally dealing with not dealing with her emotions. She knew she needed help to get under control, but didn’t ask for any. She hit a wall, but wishes it hadn’t been a brick one. In her interview, she says the calls to her kids and her mother were difficult; her mother was always so proud of her. It was rough. Dorinda says she heard LuAnn went to the wrong door, and five minutes later, she was in handcuffs. She’s sorry this is what had to happen, but doesn’t know if LuAnn would have stopped if it hadn’t. She could have hurt herself. LuAnn says, or someone else. She’s lucky in a way, finally coming to terms with her emotions. Dorinda says everyone has been supportive on her end. LuAnn appreciates their understanding. She needed to come to a full stop, and it was the hard way to do it. In her interview, she says it sounds crazy, but in a way, she’s thankful. This made her look at herself in ways she wouldn’t have. She tells Dorinda she’s reconnecting with her soul. Dorinda doesn’t want to get arrested, but wonders if she could slip into where LuAnn is staying. She’d like to go too, but three mugshots in the group is enough.

Next time, Bobby Zarin’s funeral, LuAnn come home, and the group goes to a phys-ed class called Con-Body.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Diane talks to Sonny about Carly’s medication. She says it’s Exhibit A. The more medication she’s on, the better. Jason says he’s still looking for proof of her innocence. Diane asks if he has any, and he says, no. She says then there is no evidence. Sonny says, good.

Alexis looks at Mikkos’s picture. Sam comes by, bringing snacks. Alexis asks if they’re having an impromptu movie night. Sam says she needs her advice, and Alexis says she doesn’t have to bribe her with snacks. She asks what’s going on, and Sam says it’s about her divorce.

Kim goes to Drew’s office, but he’s not there. She sees the assembly flyer on his desk, and picks it up. She notices the DNR underneath, and wonders what he’s thinking. I wonder how every stranger that walks by is allowed to root through your office at Aurora.

Lulu tells Dante that he should be impressed. She waited to watch the latest episode of House Hunters International, although she did break open the wine. He tells her that the WSB is breathing down their necks. Lulu says she heard Jordan’s head is on the chopping block. He asks who told her that, and she says an unnamed source in Ned’s office. He asks if his wife or a reporter was doing the asking.

Diane tells Sonny that the trial starts tomorrow. Jason wants more time, but she says she pushed to have it earlier. Sonny says the sooner she’s in Shadybrook, the better. Jason says the sooner he proves her innocence, the better (which is apparently the phrase of the day). Diane says he doesn’t have much time to spin it. Jason tells them that Spinelli has been working night and day. Carly didn’t imagine any of it; she’s not crazy, and Nelle’s fall was an accident. Diane says because of an altercation over a baby blanket that no one saw, and Nelle says doesn’t exist. He can’t prove that, but she can prove Carly’s irrational behavior, and doesn’t need his help to do it.

Lulu tells Dante that got off on the wrong foot, and asks him to sit with her and have a glass of wine. Dante says it’s been a long day, and she says he can talk to her. He asks if she means as his wife, not a journalist. He says Henrik/Peter was behind bars, and now he’s gone; it’s demoralizing. Lulu doesn’t think he’s gone; not the way he left things with Maxie. Dante asks if she thinks he’ll want to make amends, and she says he cares what Maxie thinks. She believes he cared about her. Dante says Lulu doesn’t know a damn thing except the lies Peter fed her.

Felix and Stella have a drink at The Floating Rib. She asks how Mike is, and Felix says Mike cleaned him out at checkers; he’s a shark. Stella says he’s got skills to spare and charm to match. Felix says he put on quite a show at the Nurses’ Ball. Stella says Alzheimer’s is taking its toll, but he’s still in there. He’s a good man, and deserves his dignity. She’s grateful Felix is giving him that. Felix asks if it’s just him, or is Mike a special case? She says Mike has certain flair. He reminds her of someone she used to know. Felix asks about Curtis getting married to the commissioner, and she says the talk about her nephew’s engagement, the better. Jordan and Curtis walk in.

Alexis asks what Sam wants. She says she’s ready to leave Aurora, and wants Drew to have it. Alexis says leaving and signing away a valuable asset are two different things. Sam says they acquired the company together because they wanted to run it together. They’re not together anymore, and she wants him to have her half. Alexis points out that the company was purchased with Jason’s money. Sam says technically. Alexis says the deal was, they could both pay him back long term at zero interest. Jason did it for her. If he’d thought it was just for Drew, he might have sold the company outright. He might object if believes Drew is getting to reclaim the asset. Sam says Jason wouldn’t do that, but Alexis says Diane would. They’re not talking about a couch, and she’ll look out for his best interests. It’s a multi-million-dollar enterprise. Why should Drew get it? Sam says, Drew wants it, and she doesn’t anymore.

Drew’s assistant finds Kim in his office. She tells Kim that Drew is out, but she can leave a message. Kim says she can’t wait. She has to stop him from doing something dangerous. Drew walks in.

Diane asks Jason about the phone calls. He says Dante traced them, and they can prove they came from a pay phone close to where Morgan died. At first, they were hang ups. Then, on Valentine’s Day, Carly heard a guy say, I’m here. Nelle was using Carly’s grief to lure her only yards away from where her son died. Diane asks, how? and Jason says she heard an explosion. Diane asks if he found any evidence, and Jason says, no, because Nelle was playing a recording. She says it’s speculation. He insists it happened. Nelle made the calls, and has been torturing Carly, and he should have seen it.

Sam tells Alexis that she’s financially independent, and doesn’t need the company. She doesn’t want Drew to worry about paying it back, and would rather have a clean break. Alexis says she’s giving up a lot to achieve it, but Sam thinks it’s worth it. It’s better than dragging things out, like… Alexis asks, what? Sam tells her, nothing, but then says, like her and Julian. Alexis wishes she could say Sam was wrong. After the Nurses’ Ball fiasco, Julian was concerned, and made sure she got home. He came back the next day. Alexis says, nothing happened; just a moment, but it’s when she decided she needed therapy. She called Doc. She tells Sam it was just one kiss, and she stopped it; it’s not happening again. She went to see Doc because she can’t take it; the endless loop of her life, and how she keeps repeating the pattern of picking men who are horrible for her.

Drew asks Kim what’s up. She says, him first. She asks about the DNR, questioning there being no attempt to save his life, and just pulling the plug. He asks if she has the habit of going through people’s desks (thank you). She says she came to talk him, and thought he’d already gone. She wants him to think about Oscar. Does he have any idea what Oscar has to lose? He’s just getting to know his father. The procedure is risky, even if he has the flash drive, but he doesn’t. Drew says it’s not going to happen. He’s not going through with it.

Lulu tells Dante obviously, she went over his head with the Peter/Faison thing, and has been apologizing every day. She asks if he’s never made a mistake, and he says not one that resulted in… She tells him to say it; he’s never gotten anyone killed. He says that wasn’t her fault, but she gets so focused she doesn’t consider the consequences. She asks if he’s saying he doesn’t like the way she does her job. He says she doesn’t think things through. She wonders if he’s going to criticize her parenting or wifely duties, but he says he’s just having a conversation, and she’s making him sound like an ass. She says he’s making it really easy. He says he loves her, but doesn’t love her job or what it’s doing to her.

Diane asks if Carly said she found Morgan’s scarf or one that looked like it? Jason says Nelle found a scarf like Morgan’s, tore it, put blood stains and dirt on it, and left it on Carly’s desk. She asks if he saw it, and he says he didn’t because Nelle pulled the fire alarm and it was gone when they came back in. Diane says, again, it’s speculation. He says Nelle was Carly’s assistant. She knows the floor plan, and could avoid the security cameras. He bets that the fire alarm that was pulled is on the same floor as Carly’s office. He adds that Carly had a picture of Morgan wearing the scarf on her desk. Diane says, assuming he’s right, and Nelle orchestrated an elaborate scheme, that would be motive for shoving her down the stairs. He’ll be proving the DA’s case for her.

Lulu says the simple solution is her quitting her job, but Dante isn’t telling her to do that. He just wants her to include him. She asks if the same transparency goes for him. If she includes him on her assignments, he should do the same for her. He says it’s not a fair comparison. He took an oath. She has a code of standards where she should be vetting sources. She’s been a reporter less than six months. Maybe she should take a step back. She says it sounds like quitting. If she did that, she’d only resent him, and it won’t fix the problem.

Curtis tells Jordan that Stella is there, and she asks if running is an option. He says whatever she wants, but she thinks the only way to deal with it is to deal with it. Felix asks if they’d care to join the table, and Curtis thinks it’s a great way to celebrate. Felix tells him that his proposal gutsy and romantic, and congratulates them. Jordan is glad he didn’t slice her in half or make her disappear. Stella knows a good performance, and says his was the best at the Ball. She can’t wait to see what’s next. She toasts to what’s in store.

Kim is surprised Drew isn’t getting the procedure. Drew says it’s thanks to Oscar. She asks if he told Oscar, and he says Oscar doesn’t need to know. He came by to drop off the info about the awards ceremony, and they started talking about Josslyn, Carly being in jail, and how happy he is with the family. He realized that it would be selfish to go through the procedure. As much as he hates having Jason’s memories, he’s not risking his life. Kim thinks it’s the right decision, especially since Oscar needs him more than ever. Drew asks, why?

Alexis tells Sam that her behavior is no mystery; it’s classic. her father didn’t care about her, so she compulsively choose men like him because of unfinished business. She can name it, but can’t fix it. She wants someone to fix her. Doc is going to unpack her emotional baggage, starting with her father, which shouldn’t take long. She barely knew Mikkos. He was distant, intimidating, and had no interest in her. Sam looks at his picture. Alexis says except one time, when she was pregnant with Sam, he intervened. She thought maybe he did care, and was just afraid of what Helena would do, but if the most he could do was to protect her once, what kind of father was he? Sam says they both have a lot to figure out. Alexis says she never thought about him – it was profoundly upsetting – but she’d like to know if there was a sliver of good in him. Sam wonders how she can find out; he’s been dead since the 80s. Alexis says she has a way. Sam asks how many people could be around who knew him, and the doorbell rings. It’s Valentin, and Sam asks Alexis to please tell her that’s not who’s going to help her.

Sonny says he hates Nelle, but the last thing he wants is for Carly to go to prison. Jason wants to prove Nelle is a liar, but Diane says they don’t have it. At least six people, one of them Carly’s mother, heard Carly threaten Nelle. Jason says, fine. He saw Carly today, and they talked about her plea. He told her not to plead insanity.

Alexis tells Sam that Valentin is her historian, and Sam says Luke is more trustworthy. Valentin asks if it’s a bad time. Alexis says, no, and Sam says, it is, and he says he’s getting mixed signals. Sam wants Alexis to understand who she’s dealing with; Valentin and Peter are working together. He’s the one who stood by and watched Peter destroy lives. Valentin says he’s known Peter since child, and Sam says, when he handed Peter over to Faison to get revenge on Anna. Alexis is puzzled, and Sam says Peter is Anna’s son with Faison. She gave him up for adoption, and Valentin tracked the adoptive family down, making them hand Peter over. If he’s willing to be that vile and selfish to a child, imagine what he can do to her?

Lulu tells Dante that he needs to figure out how to find a way to get rid of his anger. She knows she’s not invincible. She did get in over her head with Faison, and let Peter manipulate her. Dante was suspicious, but she didn’t listen to him. Peter told her what she wanted to hear. She trusted him, but she’s not naïve anymore; her eyes are opened. Dante says, next time, some information might be helpful if there’s a police investigation. She says if she’s aware of anything pertinent, she’ll share it with her husband. He says, not the cop?

Kim says Oscar is in the throes of young adulthood. He has a good head on his shoulders, but he’s still figuring things out, and needs guidance. Oscar shows up, and seems miffed that Kim is there. She says she came to tell his dad about the award ceremony. Oscar says he told her that he was going to do that. She says he told her that he was going to clean his room, and she still can’t see the floor. Drew says Oscar is going to be an intern there, and Kim says, so she won’t have him on her hands the whole summer, glued to TV with a phone in his hand? She suggests they celebrate with ribs, and invites Drew along. She says, the night is young; it’s too early to call it quits.

Sonny can’t believe Jason told Carly to change her plea, and Diane says, there goes her defense strategy. Jason says she’s sticking to the plea. She said the same thing about there being more motive. She’d rather do a few months than risk being found guilty. Diane says it makes her nervous the other way. Carly is behaving rationally, and she’s trying to prove Carly is anything but. Sonny says she won’t have to go to prison; that’s what matters. Jason says she’ll be admitting to pushing Nelle and jeopardizing her grandchild. She’ll have to live with it for the rest of her life, when it didn’t happen.

Jordan and Stella are left alone at the table. Stella looks at Jordan’s ring, and asks if she’s pleased. Jordan says, very. Almost as pleased as she was to get Stella’s blessing. She knows things between them need to be repaired, but she’s not giving up. Stella tells her not to pressure herself. Things work out if they’re meant to.

At the bar, Drew congratulates Curtis. Curtis tells Drew that he was talking to Sam. She wants to get back into the PI business, and he suggested they partner up. There’s nothing solid, but he thinks it’s going to happen, and wants him to be aware. Drew thinks it’s a good move. There’s no one better. Curtis doesn’t want it to come between them, but Drew says, they’re good.

Valentin says he’s not denying delivering the baby to Faison, but he’s regretted every day since. Sam asks if that’s why he helped Peter escape, but Valentin says Peter pushed him into the cell and locked it. He has a better question. Why were the security cameras disabled, and where was the guard? She doesn’t have to answer. Valentin shows Alexis an envelope, saying it’s the initial payment from his primary source. It’s about Mikkos, and he thinks it will be valuable. Sam says Alexis doesn’t have to do this, but Alexis says, it’s the only option, but she will consider the source. Sam tells her to be careful. She tells Valentin that he has a lot of enemies. If he does anything to hurt Alexis, she’ll be his worst one.

Dante tells Lulu that they’re back to where they started. He can’t look other way if something is unethical. Lulu says they’ll figure it out together. It’s called compromise, and it’s what marriage is about. Dante says, why not? They’ve worked well together in the past. They seal the deal with a kiss.

Diane says Jason should be pleased that Carly is pleading not guilty, but he thinks they should be proving she’s innocent. Diane says she can present facts. She can’t prove Carly is innocent. Jason says, but she can prove Carly is insane? Diane says, no; not in her right mind, but she’ll need him to attest that there were no visible signs of a break-in, and that there were signs Carly was losing her grip. Jason says she wasn’t. Diane says if he says that Carly is responsible for her actions, and she gets convicted, how will he feel? He tells her not to call him then, but she says she doesn’t have a choice. Sonny asks Jason what Carly said when he saw her. Jason tells him that she said she’s going to do this and needs him to back her. Sonny says, then back her. Jason says he’s not going to lie and say Carly is crazy, because she’s not. Sonny glares at him.

Dante and Lulu make out on the couch. Lulu thinks they still have it, but they’ll know for sure next time their jobs cross paths. Dante says they’re off to a good start.

Jordan and Curtis are at the table alone. Curtis asks if Jordan is pleased at how things turned out, and she hopes it’s okay at the wedding. They just have to set a date. Stella sits with Kim, and asks about one of her clients. Kim says they’re doing great, and compliments Curtis on the great proposal; it was one for the ages. Stella says, enjoy while it lasts. Not every engagement ends in a wedding. A lot can happen in between now and then.

Oscar and Drew play pool. Drew tells Oscar to always ask for more work; it shows initiative and gives you more experience. Oscar promises he won’t take advantage of being the boss’s son. Drew says he started it for his family.

Sam brings a box to Drew’s office. His assistant, who must be getting tired of this constant traffic, says Drew left a while ago. Sam asks her to make sure he gets this, and gives her an envelope.

Alexis gives Valentin some paperwork, and says in the event of a tragedy, the bulk of his assets will go to Charlotte. He thanks her, and tells her that he’s given her the initial payment, but there’s more where that comes from. He’ll hand it over once the change is complete. She tells him that she’s changed her mind; she doesn’t want his help. He tells her if she changes her mind, she knows where to find him. She says she doesn’t want the envelope, and he tells her to throw it away.

When Valentin is gone, Alexis puts the envelope in the fireplace. She strikes a match, but just stands there with it, aflame in her hand.

Tomorrow, Obrecht tells Peter they have an eventful morning ahead, Carly asks whose testimony they need to worry about, and Nelle tells Michael that she’s being called to testify against Carly.

The Haves and The Have Nots

When we last left, Veronica had just walked in on Justin and Jeffrey getting busy at David’s condo.

Veronica’s eyes practically pop out, and she says she’s going to be sick. Jeffrey says, good. She’d hoped he’d changed. He’d hoped she did. He tells her to get her ass out of there. She’s shocked he’d do this disgusting act in front of her. He says he didn’t know she was there, but if she wants to stay, they’re going to continue. She says he’s really like this, and he says, yes, he’s gay; where has she been his whole life? She doesn’t know what to say. Justin suggests goodbye and I laugh. She thinks Justin is making him like this, but Jeffrey says he was born this way, and get her ass out. She’s done all the damage she can do. She says she came to help him, but he says, no, she didn’t. She says she came out of the kindness of her heart, but he says she doesn’t have any. She brought the affidavit for him to sign, and he asks if it’s the one where he’s supposed to give up Benny. She thinks he must be screwing Benny too. What she just witnessed – that’s it. She asks what’s wrong with him? He says he put knife in her one time, and asks if she wants to try again. She says, this girl (meaning Justin) is making him bold. Jeffrey says she’s making him bold. He’s sick of her. She begs him to come home, and then starts screaming her head off. She asks him to come, but he just sits there. She says she can fix this, and leaves, shutting the door behind her.

Landon goes over the schedule with Charles. He asks if Charles is okay, and Charles says, yes. He tells Charles he’ll be good at this, but Charles says, it’s sleeping alone. All he can think about is Candace. Landon wonders what the hell she did to him. Charles asks if Landon never had a crazy crush. He doesn’t know what it is. There’s the sex, but there’s also something he can’t explain. He knows she’s bad for him, but doesn’t care. Landon knows that feeling. Charles says he wants her here and now. They can clean her up, and he knows he can make her happy. Landon says, if Charles says so, and asks if he’s sure. Charles isn’t ready to give up on her, and asks if they can set it up. Make sure every scheme she’s running, fails. Landon says he’ll get his team on it. He’ll have to go old school on this one. Whatever that means.

Jeffrey tells Justin to stop for a minute. Justin says Veronica makes him crazy. Jeffrey wonders how she knew they were there, and Justin says she’s probably having him followed. He tells Jeffrey to relax. He’s here for him. Jeffrey asks who Justin thinks he is to him, but Justin thinks Jeffrey should answer that. Jeffrey refuses, and Justin says that Jeffrey is his. Jeffrey says he already told Justin that he isn’t, and thinks he should leave. He says it’s a mistake. He had a weak moment, and they had sex; that’s it. Justin says he’s not leaving – ever. Jeffrey says he’s not scared of Justin, and to stop with the threats. Justin says it’s not a threat. He’s gone too far, and given up so much. He can’t go back now. Whether Jeffrey wants to admit it or not, they’re together for life. Justin says he’ll make dinner.

Since I can find no info whatsoever on this character, we’ll call him LJ – for his alias Leslie Jackmore. LJ is in hotel room of the guy he picked up in the bar. He tells dude to turn around and bend over. When he does, LJ takes his wallet. He looks at the ID, and sees dude works at a college. Dude asks what LJ wants, and LJ says that’s a loaded question. Dude asks if his evil bitch wife is doing this, and LJ says, no, the evil bitch is him. He wants all dude’s money, and his watch. Dude says his father gave it to him (reminding me of Bob Balaban in Midnight Cowboy). LJ says he guesses he’s dude’s daddy now. Dude threatens to go to the police, but LJ says he’ll claim dude tried to rape him and took advantage. Dude is going to take the cards that LJ is letting him have, and get him ten grand. Dude says he’s not from there, but LJ tells him to figure it out quick. He takes dude’s ID, saying If he doesn’t, he’ll be on the news for taking advantage of a young kid. Dude says she really wanted it, but LJ says, not today, and leaves.

Oscar’s phone rings. It’s Jim, who says the money isn’t in his account. Oscar says, it is; he’s looking at the confirm. Jim doesn’t give a rat’s ass; he has no money. Oscar asks if Jim is playing games to get out of giving him the commission. Jim asks for the number, and Oscar says, it’s the Cryer Company. Jim says that’s not the account number he sent, and tells Oscar to check his text. Oscar says, sh*t; he’s right. He’ll have to call the bank and try to sort it out. Jim says he’d better do it now. Oscar wonders what the Cryer Company is. Jim doesn’t know, but it’s not his. Oscar hangs up and says, dammit! That’s what Candace was doing. Yep.

Kathryn tells Jim they need to talk about Wyatt. He says they always need to talk about Wyatt. They tried to cover up his crime, and he turned on them. Now that they have his money, he’s going to be madder. Jim says they can’t cover it up; he needs to pay for this. These are Malones, and they’ll kill him. Kathryn asks who the Malones are (really? and she’s from a prominent family?), and Jim says, the mob; they’re not playing around. These people don’t give a second chance. Wyatt is as good as dead. Kathryn says she’ll talk to him, and try to reach him. Jim says she’s been trying for twenty-seven years; good luck. She says he’s her only living child. She has to try. Jim says Wyatt is his only living child too. He tells her to knock herself out, but not to get her hopes up. She says she always has hope.

Hanna and Derek finish watching a movie. She says, good choice, and thanks him for dinner. He asks if she’s putting him out. She says it wasn’t planned, and she has work to do. He tells her it’s hard to leave. He doesn’t know what it is, but it’s like he knows her, and don’t act like she doesn’t feel it. She says she’s enjoying him, but they agreed to take it slow. She kisses him goodbye, and Benny walks in, saying, not this again. Derek leaves, and Hanna tells Benny he has business upstairs. Benny says Hanna let he stay, but Hanna says he shouldn’t have brought her. He’s too old to be laying with a girl and letting go. He says she’s too old to have a dude slobbering over her. He doesn’t like Derek. Hanna says he wouldn’t like anyone she dated, and go deal with Melissa. There’s a knock at the door.

Candace asks if she’s here, and suggests she and Benny talk outside. He tells her there’s no need, and she can talk in front of their mom. She says she wants to stop, but she needs to talk in private. Hanna says Benny will just tell her anyway, but leaves. Candace says Benny is the only one she trusts. She needs him to hold some money in his account. Hers is being watched, and she has to move it; it’s legit. He asks if she means like his tow yard and house were legit. He knows it’s one of her tricks and he’ll regret it, but says, fine. She says it’s a few thousand, and to text the number. He tells her that he has $85 in there, and needs it. She promises not to take it, and he texts the number.

Hanna comes back and asks what Candace wanted, but Benny says, nothing important. He asks for the car. Hanna says as soon as he tells her, and he says he’ll call Mitch. She tells him he has to do something about this girl. He slept with her, she’s pregnant and put out; he’s not leaving her on the street. He says it’s not his baby or problem. Melissa is suddenly there, and says, that’s right; she’s not. Hanna says she’s not a problem; she’s in a situation. Benny asks why Hanna is being nice to her, and Hanna makes him apologize. She says he will help her, because someone did for them when she was pregnant with him. A stranger helped until she got on her feet, and they’re going to help Melissa. Melissa doesn’t mean to be a burden. Hanna says she’s not, and they’ll figure it out when Benny gets back. Benny drops the loan shark money he’s been carrying, and Hanna wants to know where he got it. Melissa says it’s hers; she didn’t want Veronica to take it, so she gave it to Benny to hold. Hanna says she can get a place then. Melissa says she can, and Benny hands her the money. As soon as Hanna is gone, Melissa teases him, saying she’s not giving it back, but she does. He says when he gets back, they’ll look into getting her a place. She calls him big daddy, and says he’s got enough money.

On the phone with the bank, Wyatt says they’re supposed to protect his money. There’s a knock at the door, and Kathryn comes in. She sees he hasn’t calmed down. She tells him that his father has the money; it’s for his own good. He’s incapable of handling it. He’s high and angry; let them help him. He says they’re going to jail. He’s testifying against them. She says he left a man dead in a bar. Wyatt says he’ll tell the police that his dad covered it up. If he goes down, so does Jim. Kathryn asks why he can’t pull it together, and he says it’s because his parents try to control him. Kathryn says they’re trying to help, and he says, then give him the money. She refuses, and he tells her for his sake, and Amanda’s, she should leave. He wishes the cancer had killed her. She asks how he knew, and he says he knows a lot of things. If he can’t bury them in prison, he’ll kill them. She says he doesn’t mean that, and he tells her to stay there and see. She walks out, and he says, don’t come back.

There’s a knock at Candace’s door. It’s Gia, followed by Rocky and LJ, Rocky says they shouldn’t be seen together. Candace says she knows that; that’s why they’re in the room. She tells them she’s getting out of the game. Rocky says she started it, but she says she can’t do it forever. She came up. Rocky asks, how, and she says it’s not their concern. Gia asks what she’s supposed to do; Candace taught her how to do what she does. Candace tells them to keep doing what she taught them. Make it bigger, and grow it. That’s it; she’s out. She tells them to keep the money from last time, and Rocky says she really must have come up. LJ asks how they can follow in her footsteps. Candace tells Gia that Jim is a sure thing; the well runs deep with money. Work it; stick with him. LJ isn’t down with the guys, and she says he must know plenty of women; older, desperate, rich, and lonely. Make this make sense. She tells them to leave now, but she’ll always be there for information. LJ says they had something going; they were making real money. She tells him to pace himself. Impatience is his problem. When Gia and LJ are gone, Rocky says they were in this together, and he wants his cut. She says he took a picture. How much does he think it’s worth? Thirty bucks?  He says she’s really going to be like this, and she says she is. She tells him to get out, and make sure don’t say a word. She asks if his visa is still intact. She says they’re hustlers. There’s no honor in the game. Rocky says he’ll remember that. When she’s alone, Candace says, she’s out.

David and Erika say a bunch of boring stuff. She tells him she needs a break. She’s had more sex in the past week than in her entire life. It’s been good, but too much. He tells her that he’s sorry. The only woman he’s ever been with is – Erika says, don’t say her name; she’ll appear. He says, that woman is the only one he’s been this intimate with, but she’s different, better. He tells her to hold on, and goes downstairs. Erika follows.

David says he needs to check something. He feels around the furniture and knickknacks, and pulls something out of a vase. Erika asks if it’s a bug, and he says it is, and it’s not the only one. He keeps checking, and finds two more. Erika wonders if there are any others, and he says, possibly. Erika says, she’s ruthless; he knows how to pick them. He says he picked her, but she’s the right one. He says they’re probably being listened to, and Erika prompts him to go upstairs. He thought she needed a break, but she says it’s never too much when she’s with him. They hear an explosion out front.

Outside, both cars are on fire. Erika says, she’s really insane, and David says, she doesn’t know the half of it. Veronica drives away, and Erica calls the fire department.

Benny goes to the dive bar, and sees the dead dealer on the floor. He asks if the guy is all right, but a dude comes out, and says they’re not open until seven. He asks what Benny is doing there, and sees the dead guy. Benny says he didn’t do it. The guy pulls out a gun, telling him not to move. He’s calling the police.

Next time, Oscar confronts Candace, Justin threatens Jeffrey, and Veronica comes on to Derek. No, Derek, no.

Below Deck Mediterranean

Captain Sandy says Hannah isn’t being fair, doing preference sheets for the next charter, while there are still guests on board from this one. Hannah tells her that she was up until four getting the dents and dirt from the guests’ heels out of the carpet. She promises she’s trying her best, and leaves in tears. In her interview, the captain says the client is paying money for the full attention of the crew. Breakfast is cleared, and the garbage is taken out. Hannah cries in the bathroom. In her interview, she says to be spoken to that way after 18-hour days, and provisioning when she should be sleeping, is bullsh*t.

The guests get ready to leave. Hannah tells the stews to strip the beds when they’re gone. One guest wonders why her stuff isn’t fitting in the suitcase now. I identify, but that’s usually because I bought a bunch of crap. Captain Sandy calls the crew to the deck for goodbyes. In her interview, Captain Sandy says Jennifer didn’t complain, but she must have noticed breakfast service was bad. Jennifer says they had a good time, even if she didn’t get to see Sandy drive. She gives the captain an envelope, and it’s twenty minutes to the tip meeting.

The captain says she usually starts on a high note; however, this was the worst breakfast service ever in her experience on charters. She tells Adam is was thirty minutes before she got her omelet, and she didn’t get her toast until after sh was finished. Breakfast is the start of the day, and sets the mood for the client. In her interview, Hannah thinks Captain Sandy is frustrated because she didn’t get to drive the boat, and show her friends what she could do. Adam says, what about the dinner, but the captain isn’t having it. In his interview, Adam says he carried the charter, and a piece of toast negated twenty-eight meals. We see the mass quantity of things he had to cook and bake. The captain says it was the deck, as well as the interior. Not having the tender was a big one. She doesn’t want to have to tell Conrad what he needs to do. The tip is 12,000 euros. I miss how much that is each because my mind goes blank when she says euros.

On the bridge, Adam tells Captain Sandy that it has nothing to do with him; the toast was ready. She asks if he didn’t get the order, and he says they were coming late. Hannah overhears, and says it’s a crock of sh*t. If Adam is going to throw the interior under the bus, she’ll throw him twice as fast, and he’ll be hit twice as hard. The captain tells Adam that he took it personally. It’s not like she said he sucked at making toast. The crew cleans up. Conrad tells Kasey about his scars and injuries, because she likes scars. Adam says he has some from chicken pox.

The crew gets ready to go out. Cool. Here’s where they get drunk and stupid. They go to a sushi place. Brooke almost mistakes soy sauce for a shot. João swills wine, while saying as long as he sticks to gin and tonics, he’ll remember everything. In her interview, Kasey says he’s flirting with her and Brooke, but she keeps thinking of the guy he could be. Well, move on from those thoughts, because he’s not going to be. Adam says it’s a good restaurant; the service is excellent. Hannah excuses herself, annoyed by his comment.

Conrad follows Hannah, who tells him about Adam lying to the captain, and calling him rude and disrespectful. She says she’s letting it go or it will be an issue next charter. In her interview, she says she picks her battles with Adam. We find out Kasey plays the violin. João says he likes both Brooke and Kasey. Outside, Conrad tells Hannah about his father who was an example of what not to be. He blamed Conrad for the marital problems with Conrad’s stepmother. He and Hannah hug, and they go back in. The crew goes back to the boat. What? No drunken nightmarish rants?

Hannah sits on the deck, and Conrad joins her. They agree they like talking to each other. In his interview, Conrad says he sees another side to Hannah. It’s soft and nice, but you don’t screw the crew. She asks if they’re buddies, and he says he likes her. He takes a while to warm up. He kisses her on the cheek and hugs her; then moves in for a real kiss. I dunno. This could end badly.

Kasey says leaving the dock is her make it or break it moment. If she gets sick, she’ll have to leave, even though she doesn’t want to. Kasey calls João a wild card, and he calls her a mind f*ck. Brooke likes him, but sees them flirting. She reminds herself that she said she needed space, whether she half-meant it or not. Hannah tells Kasey not to put her delicates in the dryer again. Oh hell no.

The primary’s name is Honey, and she’s having a birthday with her closest friends and family. She’s kosher, and Adam says kosher meat is super expensive. It’s not just a diet, it’s a diet and religion. Honey also wants a Great Gatsby themed party. The guests are all big tequila drinkers, and have requested 1942. I wouldn’t know one tequila from another, since I hate tequila. The usual water toys are requested as well. Supplies are ordered and picked up. Hannah thinks the guests will be high maintenance, and she doesn’t trust vegans. One is vegan, and she doesn’t trust vegans. João asks Kasey if Jamie is helping her, but she hasn’t seen Jamie. Apparently, she overslept, so he hunts her down and gets on her for not working when rest of them are, telling her that she has an attitude problem. He says if Conrad isn’t there, he needs to know what she’s doing. In her interview, she wishes instead of being cocky, he’d just find her and tell her that she’s needed. She forgets, that would be the mature thing.

Brooke says she’s a hopeless romantic. I have to say it – and Kasey is just hopeless. BA-DUM-CHH! Brooke’s grandparents were married at sixteen, and have been together for a million years. Jamie cries on the dock, and Hannah sits by her. She’d been talking to her mom on the phone, and tells Hannah that she tries so hard. Hannah says she’s superwoman, and saved her ass. In her interview, Jamie says being the only female, it’s hard to keep up with the egos. Her parents run an auto shop together, and she says the workers still only went to her father when they had questions. Hannah gives her a hug, and tells her how great she is, and not to let anyone tell her different.

Hannah tells Conrad about the incident, that Jamie accidentally fell asleep, and João acted like an ass. The meat is delivered. In his interview, Adam says he once had a kosher guest who insisted that all meat products be removed from boat. The meat was worth a lot of money, and this has him nervous. Brooke reads out loud from a romance story. Conrad talks to João and Jamie. João whines that Jamie slept in extra, and Conrad says in the future, come to him. João is there to make sure the work gets done when Conrad isn’t around, but he’s not to tell someone off. Conrad is the one who dishes out the sh*t, João says Conrad talks about the hierarchy, but he doesn’t give João the status when he’s off the boat. Brooke is excited about Conrad and Hannah’s kiss. She thinks they’re a cute couple. Hannah hopes it doesn’t blow up in her face. In her interview, Hannah says yacht crushes aren’t a normal situation where you can date. The crew unloads the slide, and Captain Sandy says, team work makes the dream work, because she’s tired of using, let’s knock it out of the park. Brooke talks to Adam about a scouting party she’s planning. She likes chefs because they’re passionate and sensitive. Or in Adam’s case, immature and too sensitive.

The guests arrive, and ask for tequila shots instead of champagne, but it’s the wrong kind. The tequila is Don Julio, and Hannah says, note to self, there’s more than one 1942 out there. Again, I wouldn’t know. The luggage is brought in. The guests demand a tour, and ask if no one cares about them anymore. One guest asks if anyone cares that she has to pee. First the tequila, now this. Rich people’s problems. Hannah brings them chilled shots, and gives the tour. It’s always the part where I want to move permanently on to the boat. Honey is nervous about the food, and wants to talk to Adam. They’re ready to roll.

Honey explains that if she eats poultry or meat, she can’t have dairy for several hours. No one else is kosher. Adam gives suggestions. Hannah asks Kasey to clear the bar. Kasey says the medication is making her feel like a zombie. Hannah is calling about the tequila, and the guests whine that no one is there to help them unpack. The weather is fabulous, and the water as blue as possible. João suggests Kasey eat some bread. She tells herself not to be sick. Seeing the villages on the hills is breathtaking.

Conrad and Colin drop anchor. Colin says a yacht anchor is heavier than those on other boats, and can cause damage. Brooke announces lunch is ready. The guests say they’ll be drinking tequila with everything. As always, the table is beautifully set, in green with a touch of gold. One dude gripes about having Chinese chicken salad for lunch, and asks about the ETA on the 1942 tequila. Another guest wants to know what kind of lunch Chinese chicken salad is. I’ll remember that the next time I order it. Honey says they’re starving, and want pasta. Captain Sandy asks Adam how it’s going, and he says, apparently, it’s a five-course lunch. He makes some massive bowls of rigatoni, and pasta with shrimp for Honey. Someone else wants Alfredo sauce, and Adam says he’s never had this many ridiculous orders. The vegan guest wants to stay there and eat all day. Crap. I can’t even keep up with the requests. Adam needs Hannah to deal with the guests. Conrad tells them the slide will be loud when they set it up. João knows exactly how to do it, and thinks Conrad doesn’t know how. Honey eats three bites of the pasta and is full.

Hannah can’t believe how slowly Kasey is washing the dishes, and is going to lose her mind. She says Kasey doesn’t get the speed they need to work at. Captain Sandy says it’s not about coddling Adam, but giving him support. A guest bombards Adam with questions about dinner, and Adam says he’s just trying to follow the preference sheets as closely as possible. The captain says he’s one guy, and most boats have a set menu, and only provide for that. The guest admits that it could be they didn’t say enough, and asks for a surf and turf dinner. Then adds another 45,000 things, including a cake for Honey’s birthday. Adam says he’s screwed.

The guests use the water toys. Captain Sandy sends Conrad to pick up provisions. Hannah snatches the tequila from his hand as soon as he gets back. Adam says everyone eats something different, and half of them don’t eat same thing. He’s running out of pots,

Conrad says the guests want everything, then change their minds ten minutes later. In her interview, Hannah says she’s tired of emotionally unavailable guys. Conrad is a nice change. The guests ask to delay the dinner from 9 pm to 9:30. Adam hates these people, and says Hannah is a space cadet, making a bad situation worse. Brooke flirts with Colin, who pleads guilty of having a crush on her. He says she’s a breath of fresh air. They good around and look at photos. Hannah asks Kasey to do some chores, and wants to throw in some Adderall to get her moving.

Adam has just plated some incredible tuna tartare, and the guests are late. Hannah thinks she should have married for money when she was younger. Brooke says she could live in a van if she loved someone. It’s almost 11 pm, and Adam wonders why Hannah can’t manipulate the guests. Seriously, wtf? Hannah says there’s no sign of the guests.

Next time, João thinks Kasey is hot, Brooke thinks Adam is cute, a fire alarm sounds, and Captain Sandy is pissed.

💵 On Sell It Like Serhant, Ryan helped Jen, a struggling skincare salesperson at Scrubz in Farmingdale, Long Island. She wasn’t making a connection with the customers, had no enthusiasm, was withdrawn, and had terrible eye contact. Even better, she was living with her boyfriend’s mother, who was also her boss. Ryan had never seen anyone who needed his help more, but Jen resisted his help the most of anyone. He told her that when she told him off and walked away, it was the most powerful he’d seen her. She finally explained that her father had passed away two years ago. They were very close, especially since he’d been sick for years. He was also the glue who held the family together, and once he died, the world felt different, and was never going to be the same again. When they should have come together, the family fell apart. Ryan taught her communication skills, and how to steer a customer to the right product. She gained confidence, and not only did her boss keep her, she offered to set up Jen with her own business within the business. She’d already been doing facials, and would be adding waxing and makeup, as well as getting commission on any product she sold while performing services. Ryan wasn’t sure what happened, but said it was awesome. Jen allowed herself to be her again. Jen said Ryan helped her realize she can do anything if she puts her mind to it, and she knew her dad would be proud. Ryan finally got me choked up when he said he didn’t want anyone to feel the way Jen had, and he started to get teary. He says it made him feel good that she doesn’t have to feel that way, and it was the whole reason he did the show in the first place. This was the finale, and I hope they give it another season. It’s a feel-good show, without being sappy, and I can’t think of a better guy to have this gig.

June 3, 2018 – Nelle Visits Carly, a Salad of Shows, a Tee-Hee & a Dance

Standard

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

The doorbell rings at the Quartermaine’s. Nelle answers. It’s Sonny, and she tells him Michael isn’t there. He wants to see her, but she says it’s not a good time. She’s trying to rest. Kim advised her to avoid stress for the baby’s sake. He thinks it might be time for a nice little chat.

On the phone, Josslyn asks if Oscar is standing her up. He says, never, but there’s something he needs to take care of. He sits at the visiting window, and Carly sits down on the other side of the glass.

Drew leaves a message for Andre. He took a day to consider the risks, and still wants to do it. He asks Andre to get back to him with the time, and he’ll be there. He looks at the DNR.

At the hospital, Chase tells Epiphany that he needs to talk to Maxie, and promises to be brief. Finn sees him, and asks if there’s something he can help with. Epiphany tells them they can help each other on their own time, not hers, and leaves. Chase asks Finn how it’s going, and Finn tells him, don’t make it weird, and asks why he’s there. Chase tells him that Peter escaped, and they’re pulling out all the stops. Finn is like, what?!

Anna tells Maxie that the letter was recovered from Peter’s hotel room. He wrote it to her.

Peter yells for help. We see a pair of heels, and the camera pans up until we see it’s Nina. He says, she did this to him?

Nelle tells Sonny that Monica is still there, but he says her car isn’t. Nelle says even if she left, there are plenty of servants around. She tells him to state his business, and be on his way. She’s not a hostess; she’s a guest. He says she seems at home there, and she says it was generous of Monica to let her stay there. Michael moving back to help with the baby is a bonus. He says she finally got what she wanted. Maybe it’s time to pay it forward. She was wondering when he was getting to the subject of Carly.

Carly asks Oscar if everything is okay, and wonders how he got in, since he’s a minor. He shows her a fake ID, and she says he looks young for someone born in 1997. He jokes that he gets that a lot. She’s impressed, and asks why he’s there. He says he has a message from Josslyn.

Mike and Felix play checkers. Mike asks if Felix is letting him win, and Felix says, never. When he plays, he plays to win. Mike makes a winning move, saying he might not remember much, but he remembers how to play checkers. Josslyn comes in, and says it looks like they’re getting along. Mike says Felix is a big step up from the other nurses Sonny has hired; he doesn’t talk to Mike like he’s five. Felix wonders if he’s being hustled. Mike asks if Josslyn is a friend of Michael’s, and Felix says she’s Carly’s daughter. Mike says, of course, and apologizes for not remembering. Josslyn says plenty of people ask her just who she thinks she is all the time. Mike says she’s her mother’s daughter, all right. He likes Carly, and wonders where she’s keeping herself these days.

Maxie says Anna might have unfinished business with her son, but she doesn’t want to see or hear from him again. Anna says he was on the run, but felt it was important enough to leave the letter for her. She leaves Maxie with the letter.

Chase tells Finn that Anna was immediately made aware that Peter escaped. As Finn leaves, Chase tells him, catch you later, bro. Finn runs into Anna, and says he knows about Peter. She says part of her is worried they’ll find him, and part of her is terrified they never will.

Peter asks Nina, why; what does she want? She says she wants her brother back. Peter says, he’s sorry, but she tells him that he doesn’t get to apologize. He used Maxie’s trust. The scrapbook wasn’t filled with mementos, but trophies, and he sat there, a few feet away from where Nathan was killed. It should have been him. She starts to scream at him, saying that somewhere, in the depths of hell, Faison is proud of him. He’s sick, and knows where he deserves to be right now.

Nelle tells Sonny if she could alter her statement, she would, but Carly’s fate is in the hands of the legal system now. He says now that she’s recovered, and her memory is clear, Nelle knows she fell; it was an accident. Nelle says, but it wasn’t. She knows how hard it is to hear – it’s hard for her to say – but Carly pushed her deliberately. She could have killed the baby. Sonny says the baby is fine. She was confused, but thinking clearly now. She can change her statement, and any bad blood will be forgotten. She’ll never want for anything. Nelle thinks everything will be fine even if she doesn’t give a false testimony. He asks what she wants, and she says she wants what’s best for her family. If she alters her statement, and Carly gets out before she gets the help she needs, she won’t feel safe, or feel the baby is safe. It’s best for everyone, Carly included.

Carly asks Oscar what Josslyn wants her to know, and he says she’s fine and still cares about Carly. After he told her that he was coming, she said no matter what happened, she loves Carly. Carly says it’s sweet, even if it’s not true.

Josslyn tells Felix that Sonny is grateful he’s there, and her mom would be too. Felix says he usually doesn’t put his nose where it doesn’t belong, and she says, but he’s going to. He says she is just like her mother. She wishes people would stop saying that. Felix says Carly is fierce, loyal, and magnificent; so is she. So she’s in the best position to do with Carly what he’s doing with Mike. Playing checkers? Josslyn says, put herself in Carly’s shoes.

Monica comes by Drew’s office. She says he must be swamped. She hears he’s practically running Aurora by himself. He says, bad news travels fast. She also hears he’s sleeping in the hotel, but he doesn’t have to. He’s welcome at the house. After all, it is his family home. He says living at the hotel isn’t bad, and the commute is super easy. She says she knows when she’s being brushed off, and he tells her that she’s not being brushed; he appreciates the offer. She tells him to just remember he’ll always have a place, no matter what. He thanks her.

Chase asks Anna if there’s been any update from the WSB on Peter’s whereabouts. She says, nothing yet, but the Bureau will keep them posted. Chase leaves, and Anna tells Finn, not right now, but maybe one day he can explain the whole family thing. He says it’s long story, and she says she has a twin sister on the run, so he won’t get any sympathy. He asks if she’s worried that she’ll never see her son again. She says, even if he’s brought to justice, she doesn’t think he’ll want to see a mother he despises.

Maxie opens the letter. Peter says he won’t make worse trying to justify or defend himself. There’s a lot she doesn’t know about the past that determined his future. He never meant to hurt her. He knows it sounds shallow, but it’s true. He wishes he had known Nathan, and wishes he could be there when Nathan’s child becomes as fine a man as Nathan was. He hopes she finds peace, and wishes it with all his heart. Chase walks in.

Peter tells Nina that he’s nothing like his father. If she read The Severed Branch, she’d know how hard fought against him. Nina says, honesty would have brought him down. He and Nathan could have teamed up. Peter says he didn’t know their brother, and Nina says, her brother. To him, Nathan is nothing but a scrapbook, got it? He does. He says Faison is dead now, and he promises to stay away from Maxie. She says they both know he’ll be away from Maxie forever. The person who did this will make sure of it. Peter says, if she didn’t do it, who did? A shadow covers the doorway.

Sonny tells Nelle he figured it would go like this. She says if it was just her, she’d gladly change her statement, but she’s concerned for the baby’s safety. He says she’s gotta do what she’s gotta do, and so will he. She asks what that means, and he thinks it’s clear. She asks if he’s threatening her, and he says he doesn’t threaten. She asks if he just makes it sound like a threat. He says she did what she could to get into the family, and she got her wish. The Corinthos family looks out for each other. He tells her, welcome to the family. No kiss of death though.

Carly tells Oscar that she knows Josslyn has no idea he’s there, and he admits she doesn’t. He says he’s telling her when he gets back, so it’s not like he lied. She says she used to use that excuse. He asks if it works, and she says it’s about 50/50. He says he’s not lying about how Josslyn feels, and she’s upset. Carly says, stubborn, and he says that too. She wonders where Josslyn gets I from. Oscar says he thought she should know, and Carly says it’s very sweet of him. She’s not mad, but would like him to do her a favor. When he leaves, go straight to Josslyn. She feels better knowing he’s looking out for her.

Drew tells Monica that he’s not saying no, but she says he didn’t exactly say yes. He doesn’t know what’s going on right now; things are in a whirlwind, and he doesn’t know where he’ll land. She tells him that her door is always open, adding, that’s not true; it’s locked, but she wants her son to have the key. She presses the key into his hand, saying, remember, her house is always his home.

Chase says, sorry; he didn’t mean to impose. Maxie says, that’s okay; he’s a cop, and it’s what he does. She asks if he wants to know if she’s heard from Peter, and says the letter has been his only contact. Anna said the PCPD has the original, so they already know what it says. Chase supposes she’s not buying Peter’s apology. She says she’d rather buy a used Pinto. Epiphany joins them, telling Chase he’d better not be upsetting her patient, but Maxie says he’s making her feel better.

Obrecht says, good. Nina got her text. Nina asks if she means the one that said go to the cabin; she has a surprise for her? Obrecht asks if she was surprised. She asks Nina what’s wrong, and Nina says besides her kidnapping a man and holding him in the middle of nowhere? Obrecht asks where is she supposed to hold someone hostage; the MetroCourt? Nina says, now she’s an accessory. Obrecht asks who’s going to tell? Henrik won’t tell a soul. He says his name is Peter, and Obrecht grabs an ax, and says there’s nothing he can do to stop her. Nina laughs, saying it’s funny, but she knows it’s not a laughing matter. Obrecht swings the ax down toward Peter.

Finn asks Anna if Robert is joining her to visit Robin. She says he’s on his way to Europe, besides it’s up to her to explain how Robin has a brother that was hidden away her entire life. Anna says it would be ironic for her to find her son, only to lose him, and lose her daughter too.

Finn says Anna and Robin mean the world to each other, and there’s nothing to forgive. Anna says Robin is a mother and a doctor, and she’s hidden a huge part of her life. It could break their trust. Finn tells Anna how great she is, saying all of the superlatives are escaping him, but she can’t do other people’s thinking for them. It didn’t work out when she did it with him; don’t do it to her daughter. She gets into the elevator, and he asks if she’s forgetting something. She runs down her list, and he says, what about this? and kisses her. She says she’ll add that to her travel checklist, and won’t forget again. The elevator doors close.

Epiphany asks if Chase got what he came for, and he says he thinks so. He leaves, and she says Maxie is on her way out too. She’s on her way to get a wheelchair. She hopes she won’t embarrass Maxie on her way out, but Maxie says she wouldn’t have any other way. When Epiphany is gone, Maxie looks at the letter again, and crumples it.

We see the ax embedded in the wall. Peter is cringing, and Obrecht says, better in the wall than in his cerebellum. Nina asks for a word, and they go outside. She asks if Obrecht has an end game or is she making it up as she goes? The WSB and PCPD are looking for him. Obrecht says what happens if they find him? He’ll cut a deal and slip away. Nathan’s death will be unavenged. They have to take matters into their own hands. Nina asks what that means, and Obrecht says, what does she think?

Oscar visits Drew’s office to invite him to the awards ceremony at school. He asks about the summer internship. Drew apologizes, saying he forgot, but will get right on it. Oscar understands, and if he can’t make it to the ceremony, that’s cool too. He says he’ll let Drew get back to work, and Drew says, or he could tell him why he’s there. He could have texted him with the information, but here he is. Oscar says he could use some fatherly advice. Drew asks if it’s about Josslyn. Oscar says, partly, and her mom.

Mike asks if Felix knows Sonny. He does; Sonny hired him. Mike says he was just testing him. He says Sonny looks out for him now, but there was a time when he looked out for Sonny, whether Sonny knew it or not. Felix says that was fatherly of him. Mike says, like the time he moved the guy from Croton. Felix says, he helped a friend move? and Mike says he moved him closer to home.

The guard brings Carly back to the visitor room, and Nelle is there. Nelle says, long time, no see. She came by to see how Carly was doing, since it’s not the Ritz. Carly says maybe she’ll see for herself one day, and asks what prompted the concern for her well-being. Nelle says Sonny stopped by to chat about family, and congratulated her on being a part of theirs. Carly bets he was super welcoming. Nelle says it got her thinking how everyone is rallying around her, and wanted Carly to know that she’s taking great care of her grandchild. Carly says she wouldn’t expect less. Nelle doesn’t want to worry her, but Josslyn is beside herself. She wants Carly to know that she’ll be there for Josslyn if she needs to talk or needs someone to listen. They’re very close. Speaking of which, Michael is moving back to the Quartermaine’s so he can be there for her and the baby. All those times Carly told Nelle that she’d never have her son? She was wrong.

Sonny asks Felix if he warned him that his dad was a shark. Felix says he realized it, but only his pride has taken a beating. He says Mike has great stories, and Sonny asks if there are any he hasn’t heard. Felix starts to repeat what Mike said about a friend of Sonny’s or Mike’s, when Mike wins another game. Felix wonders how he did that so fast, and says he guesses he’s on the hook for lunch.

Drew asks how Josslyn is, and Oscar says, shaken up. That’s why he went to Pentonville, hoping to smooth things over. Drew says that’s noble, but Oscar doesn’t know if he made it better or worse. Drew is sure he made it better. Oscar says, as much as he loves his mom, he’d always been jealous of Josslyn’s big family. Drew says now that he sees how crazy it is, he must be thanking his lucky stars it’s just been the two of them. Oscar says it’s not the two of them anymore. He has a sister and a great dad.

Nina tells Obrecht she doesn’t want vengeance for Nathan; she wants justice. If vengeance is what she has in mind, Nina is calling the PCPD, and telling them where to find their fugitive. Obrecht says she’s right. Vengeance is a temporary rush; they won’t kill him unless they have to. Nina says there’s no “we” about it; she’s not involved. Obrecht says they’ll keep him there, and when he’s had enough of their hospitality, they’ll get him to confess. Once his confession has been recorded, they’ll hand him over to the authorities. Nina says a coerced confession is meaningless. Obrecht says he will unburden himself and justice will be done. It’s what Nina wants, right? It’s the only way. Nina asks what she can do, and Obrecht says they’ll need food and supplies; she’ll send a list. She tells Nina to go back, and say nothing. She asks if they’re in it together. Nina agrees, and they shake hands.

Chase tells Maxie that hospital policy dictates the patient needs to be accompanied out. He asks if she has any takers, and she says Nina was supposed to be there. Chase says when you take over for someone loved like Nathan was, someone honorable, a lot is expected. Since Nathan can’t be there to do it himself, Chase would be honored – unless she has a better offer. Epiphany thinks she can entrust her patient to one of Port Charles’s finest, but if anything happens and it’s his fault, she’ll give his carcass to the med students. She leaves, and Maxie tells Chase that she’s kidding. She thinks. He wheels her out.

Finn sits next to Anna on the plane. He thought she’d like some company. He holds out his hand, and she puts her hand in his. They smile.

Peter tells Nina to let him go or get help. She says she’d call her brother, but he can’t come to the phone. She tells him that he’s in good hands, and he says she can’t leave him with this maniac. She leaves and Obrecht tells Peter that he talks too much, like his father. She puts a gag on him as she whistles. She says, that’s much better. Sweet, silent Henrik. She has the feeling they’ll get along famously.

Oscar starts to leave, and Drew says he’s glad Oscar stopped by. He tells Oscar to swing by HR, and fill out an application for internship. They hug, and Oscar says it will really make it a family business. He leaves, and Drew looks at the DNR and assembly flyer, side by side.

Sonny asks Josslyn if there’s no school, and she tells him it’s exam week. He has to talk to her about her mom. he wants to make things easy for Josslyn, and thinks she should stay with her dad. She asks if he wants to send her to Australia. He says her dad would be glad to see her, and the trial is going to be a circus. He wants to spare her that, and thinks her dad would agree. She says he wouldn’t want to be used as an excuse to run. She’s committed to her team, school is almost over, and she doesn’t want to be apart from Oscar. Sonny knows what she means.

Nelle tells Carly that Michael is sleeping in the room next to hers. Their relationship is evolving. She says it’s true near-tragedies bring people closer together. Carly totally freaks out, and starts banging on the glass and yelling. The guard takes her away, and she yells that Sonny is coming after Nelle, and he’s going to take everything from her. Nelle looks shocked.

Tomorrow, Jordan’s head is on the chopping block, Stella doesn’t want to talk about Curtis’s engagement, and Sam asks if Valentin is helping Alexis.

🍲 A Mix…

Nothing new on Bravo. I’m guessing The Real Housewives of the OC is back soon, since last season’s reunion was aired tonight, and next week is a How They Got Here special. Andy must be on vacation too, because Watch What Happens Live has been in reruns. He also has that tour going on with Anderson Cooper. They did have a 50th birthday party for Andy on Sunday night, with John Meyer as host. It was fun to see them turn the tables by putting Andy in the hot seat, and opening the vault to a video from his college days that he’d hoped would remain unearthed. His hair-do alone was reason enough. They’re also rerunning Dorinda’s Night of 31 Doorbells, which was a delightful gathering of many Bravo family members, when the show was in LA. Catch it if you can. I’m having difficulty caring about The Real Housewives of Potomac, but was never totally invested in them. I checked out Dietland (AMC), which had a promising start. I was also able to catch up with Westworld tonight, and think Maeve’s daughter might have a sporting chance. Even though she was captured by the Native American warriors, she wasn’t killed, and we don’t really know what their deal is yet. Next week, it looks like we might. I kind of wish they hadn’t jumped so quickly into the outside world getting involved, as well as the struggle between Maeve and Dolores. I would have liked to see more of what the park was like when it functioned, and how the various worlds dealt with suddenly being offline.

👠 Funny Footnote…

For the life of me, I couldn’t remember the name Dolores. When I finally looked it up, I realized it’s the same name Jerry Seinfeld once forgot in an episode of his sitcom. That Dolores finally gave him the hint that it rhymed with a female body part.

Fear the Walking Dead

John isn’t looking too good, but Naomi tells him to stay with her. He says he got her note. She and Morgan drag John behind a car, and away from the shooting. Morgan tells Naomi he’s john’s friend. She says she’ll get medical supplies, and promises to be back. He says he knows she will.

Mel says they have to get out of there. Alicia hits one of the Vultures. Mel starts the ambulance he’s driving, but Naomi says she needs the field kit from the back. He’s like, too bad, and keeps driving. She runs after the ambulance. As the distance becomes longer between them, the back of it blows up. Alicia is standing there with a grenade lancher, and tells Naomi that they took her in. Naomi says it’s not what she thinks. Naomi runs back to John, and tells Morgan they have to get him out of there.

Luci sees Charlie. Charlie says she’s sorry. Luci has gun pointed at her, but shoots some other guy. Al keeps filming. Morgan tells her they need to get John out. She says she’s not part of story, and Morgan says if she hides, a good man dies. The story is almost finished, and it doesn’t have to be that way for John. Al pulls her mega truck next to John, and opens the gun portal. Alicia puts her hands up, and Naomi and Morgan get John inside. Al says, gotta move.

Morgan tells Charlie they won’t hurt her. Charlie wants to make sure Mel is okay. Morgan says Mel is gone. She needs to come with him, or she’ll die. She gets in Al’s truck. Alicia, Victor and Luci shoot at the back as it’s driving away. Naomi tells Al to go to the stadium. Al says it’s supposed to be gone, and Naomi says, it’s not. Al says Naomi is supposed to be dead, and asks if she wants to tell them what else they got wrong.

[Before] Planting is happening at the stadium, and everyone pitches in. Nick says it won’t be ready for months. Madison says rations will get them through. He asks if she’s ever thought they wouldn’t make it, and she says, plenty of times. He asks what got her through, and she tells him, thinking she didn’t want to be out there; it’s way better in here. Douglas radios, saying they have a visitor. It’s Charlie. Nick asks why she’s there, and she says she needs their help.

[Forward] Morgan tells Al that they don’t have much time, and she says she’ll get him there. Charlie realizes he’s Nick’s friend. He knows what she did. Why did he save her? He says, because this has to stop some place.

Naomi tells John again to stay with her. She finds a tin of Scrabble letters on him. Morgan says he’s been looking for her, and never gave up all this time. Naomi says if you try to protect someone, you wind up hurting them. Al asks what happened; what did she do to them? Charlie says what happened wasn’t Naomi’s fault. It was hers.

[Before] Outside the stadium, a zombie pounds at the car Mel has crashed. Alicia says he’s breathing, but to be careful. He might have lung damage. Charlie insists Mel was trying to avoid the accident. There’s an argument as to whether they should just leave him there. Alicia says, if they leave him, will he make it? Nick says the Vultures lost and know it, and now they have supplies. Charlie says she lied before, but she’s not lying now. She asks Madison to please bring him back with them. Nick says they just started replanting. Madison says, If it’s a trick – Charlie says, it’s not – they’ll handle it. She says Naomi put a gun to her head when they first met; now they’re replanting thanks to her.

[Forward] Alicia sees a Vulture zombie and cuts him down. She tells Victor to wait. She sees someone crawling toward her. She squats down, and Mel reaches out. She asks how long Charlie was with him, and he gurgles something unintelligible. She says, you know what? It doesn’t matter, and smashes him in the head with the butt of her weapon. She should have left him for the zombies

[Before] Mel is handcuffed to a bed at the stadium. He asks what he’s doing there, and Naomi tells him that he has broken ribs. He asks where Charlie is, and Madison says she asked them to help her; she’s fine. He says she needs to let them go. Naomi says he has a serious injury. He says they’re not safe. Madison tells him that he’s said that before, and they’ll make it. If his brother and their crew try something, they’ll handle them. Mel says he and his brother are the ones they need to worry about.

We see a bus load of zombies, trying to get their hands out of the boarded-up windows.

Victor shows the Vultures’ numbered flags to Madison, saying that’s all that’s left. She says maybe Mel is telling the truth. Nick asks Charlie if she thinks Ennis is leading them there, and she says he wouldn’t do that. Madison asks if she’s sure. She tells Victor it will be tough, but they can do it. He says they have cars running the length of the railway. Madison asks if they’re full of dead, and Victor says, they were. She asks how many, and they go through the flags; the highest number is 735. Madison says no one goes in or out without them knowing. She tells Nick to take Charlie to her room.

Mel nearly coughs up a lung. Naomi tells him take the deepest breaths he can. When she gets close to help him, he pulls a knife on her, and tells her to take him to Charlie. Naomi pooches him in his broken ribs, takes the knife, and says not to make her break his cracked rib. He’s here to keep him breathing. He says they won’t listen to him. She’s new; maybe she’s been out there for a while. Maybe she was at another place that went down. Maybe knows what he does; what happens to people who stay. They die, and everything they’re fighting for dies with them. It doesn’t need to be that way for her. This place isn’t worth her life. He asks her to come with them. If she helps them, they’ll help her. He has the feeling she knows he’s right.

Madison pries the boards off of a concession stand. Naomi approaches. Madison says she needs the needs the lumber to reinforce the walls. Naomi says, it’s not safe here, and Madison says it will be. Naomi thinks they should consider what Mel is saying and think about leaving. Madison says that’s what the Vultures have wanted since they showed up. Out there, things don’t get better. She built this place for her kids; so they can have something close to a real life. Naomi says if she wants to protect them, she has to disappoint them. Madison says she thought about walking away. She told Alicia to prep a car just in case. She saw it on Alicia’s face, like she was chipping away at what they built. She told herself she wouldn’t use it. Naomi thinks she should reconsider. Madison asks what he said to her, and Naomi says he didn’t have to say anything. She’s been on the wrong side of where Madison is. Naomi doesn’t want to see it happen to her. What she built for her kids isn’t worth risking their lives – or hers.

Madison continues to accumulate boards off of various structures. Mel coughs some more. Madison says if he wants to go; go. He asks why, and she says while he’s here, he’s going to try to turn the others against her. He asks where Charlie is, but Madison says she’s not going. She can’t let him risk Charlie’s life.

Everyone is helping to reinforce the walls. Madison tells them to open the gate, and get the Land Rover. Mel wants to go. Victor says he might die out there. He’s there because she didn’t give up on him; what’s different? Madison says, open the gate, or she will. Mel gets in the car, saying they won’t make it. Madison says, if Charlie goes with him, whoever Charlie turns into won’t be Charlie anymore. He tells her the walls won’t hold, and Madison says she’ll keep Charlie safe. Mel tells her that’s what her parents said, and died in front of her. Don’t make her go through that again. Madison says she wasn’t there; it wasn’t them. He says they’re trying to be the type of people who are extinct. She draws her gun, and says, no one’s gone until they’re gone, and he drives away, wounds and all. The gates close again. Madison tells them not to think about what Mel said.

Nick tells Madison that she should have made him stay; He wouldn’t have taken Charlie, since he can’t get far. Madison says he’s not getting far without Nick and his sister protecting him. Nick asks if she remembers when he said he was afraid of who he was out there? He was really afraid of being away from her; she showed him the way. She finds him when he’s gotten lost. He felt found here, like he’d finally starting to get it. Letting a guy kill himself because they’re afraid of him. doesn’t sound like what she wanted them to find out.

Charlie says, he’s gone, but he’s hurt? He’s not going to make it, and he’s her friend. Alicia says she put a radio in the car, and it’s on. They should let Charlie see if he’ okay. They call, and Madison asks if Mel can hear her. He coughs, and she asks where he is and if he’s all right. He coughs some more. The signal is lost, and everyone looks grim and sad. Charlie says they have to help him.

More reinforcing goes on, and Cole hopes it holds whatever is coming his way. Alicia says they have to go out. Victor asks Nick if Madison knows they’re leaving. Nick asks, is he letting them out, or what? Victor knows they’re going after Mel, and says their mother did the same thing for him. Who is he to stop them? He lets them out. As they get on the road, Nick says they’re going to find Mel, and help Madison remember why she built this place.

One of the Vultures starts a truck full of zombies. A woman says, you know what to do, and he drives off. Behind him is a whole caravan of trucks.

Naomi finds Madison to tell her that she’s not going. Madison says, in that case, they’ll find her a new bedroom. Naomi says if she starts pulling boards off the showers, she’s chaining herself to the pipes. Madison says she forgot how it was for her kids to look at her like that, but it would it be worse if they didn’t. She guesses she taught them something after all. Naomi says whatever is going to happen, will happen soon. She’s prepping the infirmary.

Nick sees the Land Rover, and radios Victor, says they found him. Victor tells him to get back with due haste. Nick nails a zombie. Alicia says Mel is in rough shape. Nick hears something, and tells her to kill the headlights. They see the trucks coming toward the stadium. The trucks drive past without noticing them. Nick radios Victor, telling him a convoy is coming his way.

Victor tells Madison to sound the alarm. Madison is surprised Victor didn’t try to stop Nick and Alicia. He says they needed to do it, and she says that doesn’t mean she has to like it. Cole says, that’s not a convoy. We see only two headlights. Madison radios Nick and asks if he’s there, but he’s still a half-mile off. It’s an ice cream trail, leaving a trail of… blood? Gas? Something. Nick radios Madison, who tells him to just in get inside. Alicia says maybe it’s a trap, and here come the trucks. Ha-ha! My heart is beating faster.

The trucks line up in the parking lot. Luci asks what’s happening. Madison explains that Nick and Alicia are out there. Lots of zombie rumbling is coming from the trucks. The Vultures set up ramps. Ennis whistles, and signals for the trucks to be opened. Zombies stagger down the ramps. I think it must be gas. Someone is going to get these zombies lit.

Madison radios Nick and Alicia to come inside. and here we go, the gas is set on fire. The zombies crowd Nick’s car. Madison runs down. Victor tells her she can’t go out there. She says her kids in the parking lot. Is he going to stop her? He says, no. He’s coming with her. Luci says she’s coming too. In the car, Alicia asks how much ammo the have, and Nick says, not enough, reminding me of Sheriff Hague (Michael Biehn) in Planet Terror. Madison says there are too many zombies for them to drive through, and Nick says they can’t last much longer. Douglas says they have to get the fire out before anyone can leave. Victor tells him to shut up and open the gate. Alicia radios Madison, saying she’s sorry they had to come out to try and save him, but they couldn’t just hide. They didn’t mean to do this to her, but it was the right thing to do. Zombies grapple at the car. We see the flames reflected on Madison’s face.

[Forward] Al drives past a burned ice cream truck. Naomi says don’t stop; there’s no time. Morgan asks if she’s sure she’ll find what they need. She says she set up the infirmary herself. Any supplies that were taken, were taken from the outside; no one would go in there. Morgan says he thinks he knows who Al is; he’s seen it. She says he doesn’t know who she is. She’s a chick with layers. Me too. I am so one with this show right now. Al tells them to hold on, and she drives through the closed gate into the stadium. The dust clears, and there are a million zombies scattered all around. They grasp at the truck.

Next time, the mid-season finale (sigh) – Madison has nothing else to lose, Al thinks someone will want to know what happened, Naomi tries to save John, and Al machine guns the crap out of some zombies.

Excellent episode!

💍 I only saw pieces of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and will be watching it in its entirety at a later time. However, I saw enough to wonder what the blip is with Chantel’s family? Are they bad actors? Are they on something? Like a high dose of Valium? Even Chantel has inherited their strange, wooden monotone – in two languages! No wonder Pedro is looking to book back to the DR, but I still think there’s something crooked about the mother/sister grifter team. And note to Molly – all men call watching the kids babysitting. Even when the kids are their own.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

I missed the first few minutes because, as usual, ABC had news that couldn’t wait an hour. At least it wasn’t the last minute. On a Friday. So without further ado, we join the show, already in progress…

Sonny visits Carly. He asks how she’s doing; he knows how bad it can be in jail. She tells him to focus on getting her out of there, and asks if there’s been any progress on her case. He tells her that Diane is working to get her out, but she says she’s not talking about the insanity plea. She means the proof that Nelle set her up.

Robert and Anna are combing Peter’s hotel room. Anna tells Robert the last thing on Peter’s mind is her. He took a big risk before, and now he’s on the run from the WSB; he’s not circling back for her. Robert says Peter hates her. He didn’t say it to be hurtful, but wants her to see the truth and protect herself. She says what happened wasn’t an accurate reflection. He saw her as an agent from the Bureau, and thought it was a trap. Of course he was angry. Robert says he wanted her and Jason to turn on each other. Jason walks in, and Robert says, again? If he keeps hanging around, Robert will have to put him on payroll. Jason asks if he can check room, and Robert gives his okay. Robert tells Anna that Jason is the reason Peter escaped. Anna says the camera footage was looped, and it’s Spinelli’s handiwork. He tells her that she’s not fooling anyone. She’s happy Peter escaped.

Peter is in Maxie’s room. He says he kept a horrible secret about who he is, but it’s still just him. He asks how the baby is, and says he can’t wait to see him. She thanks him for being her impromptu birthing coach. He says he’s glad to be the first person to welcome his nephew into the world. He looks more like his brother than him. Maxie says, brother? and he says he’s not Peter; he’s Henrik – surprise! Nina tells Maxie to wake up; she’s having a bad dream. Maxie says Peter was there, and held her hand. She let him hold her hand; what’s wrong with her? Nina tells her not to be hard on herself. Peter has been arrested. Maxie asks if he’s been sent to Siberia yet; the further, the better. Nina says that was the plan, but Peter escaped. No one knows where he is.

Peter is dragged into a cabin.

At the Quartermaine’s, Nelle tells Michael that she feels bad about what happened to his mom. Carly is in prison because of her. There will be a horrible, ugly trial, and everyone will be in their business. She never wanted that. She just wanted Carly to understand that she didn’t want to harm her. Michael says it’s obvious Carly had a breakdown, and he wants her to get help. She has plenty of people to worry about her, and his main focus is Nelle and the baby. Nelle says he’s so sweet to her. She’s glad he stayed in the room next to hers. She doesn’t sleep well, and it made her feel safe. He says she is safe. She’s happy he came back into her life.

Sonny tells Carly that they’ve found nothing. No scarf; no blanket; nothing that proves Nelle did anything. Carly says Nelle is lying, just like when she drugged Sonny. They should have gotten rid of her when they had the chance. Sonny says they need to talk about what’s going on now. Does she want to talk through glass to him for a few weeks, or for twenty-five years? He thinks it’s the best way out, and asks why she won’t take it. I’m confused; didn’t she?

Carly says she did what they wanted, and took the plea. That answers that question. Sonny says, but then she changed her mind, and had to be talked out of it in front of the judge. Carly says, in a perfect world, she would go to Shadybrook, but it’s not a perfect world, and too many things could go wrong.

Michael tells Nelle that he has to go. She says, of course; he has his own life. She tells him not to worry about her. She’s taken enough of his time. He says he meant he has to pack, since he’s moving back in. He’s going to be with her night and day.

Nina tells Maxie all she knows is that Peter is gone. They found Valentin locked in his cell. Maxie asks if Valentin is okay, and Nina says he’s been in worse situations. The WSB and the police force are looking for Peter. Maxie can’t believe she was friends with him, when Nina told her to back off. Nina says not to give her credit. She’d hired Curtis to investigate Peter, then talked herself out of it. The biggest thing was the scrapbook with Nathan’s mementos. She chastises herself, saying if she had been less trusting, Nathan might be here. Maxie wonders if she’s still talking about Peter, but Nina says, no. Someone knew, and did nothing to warn any of them.

Peter is tied to a bed. He wakes up, and wonders where he is. He struggles against the bonds, and remembers holding the flash drive in his hotel room.

Maxie asks Nina, who knew Peter was really Henrik? Nina apologizes, saying it was Valentin. Maxie asks when he found out. Nina says he’s apparently known since Peter was a baby. It’s a twisted story that doesn’t look good for anyone. He kept it quiet, trying to cover his own ass. Maxie thought he was trying to be a stand-up guy, and Nina says, she did too. It’s lie upon lie, and secrets, when comes to Valentin, and all of it stems back to Anna. Maxie asks what Anna has to do with Peter, and Nina says, Anna is Peter’s mother.

Anna tells Robert she is not happy. Peter is a fugitive now; a target for the WSB, and anyone else who thinks he’s a threat. She wants him to go through the proper channels, and be exonerated. Robert asks at what point she lost touch with reality? He was Faison’s accomplice. She says he was coerced. Robert says when Jason was held against his will, Peter wasn’t coerced, and he wasn’t coerced when he held a gun on her. In some respects, he’s worse than his father; who knows what he’ll do? She says you can’t convict him on what he might do. and there’s nothing to link him to anything. Robert asks her to remember when Robin was held prisoner, and they thought she was dead. He doesn’t recall her giving Jerry Jax or Faison the benefit of the doubt. Anna says he’s absolutely right; she has a double-standard. No matter how much Robert wishes it wasn’t true, Peter is her son.

Jason brings out a drawer, and shows Anna and Robert there was tape on the bottom. He thinks it’s where Peter hid the flash drive. He says it looks like Peter took off with it. Robert says, so much for making amends. He thanks Jason for his help, and for saving Anna’s life. If he hadn’t been there, Peter would have killed her. Jason is glad he was there too. He jets, and Anna asks if Robert is quite finished. He says, no, and neither is she. Now she’s got to tell Robin that she has a big brother.

Sonny tells Carly assumption can be a dark place; don’t go there. She says nothing has gone her way since the arrest. How will she convince her kids of her innocence, and get them to trust her again? By the time she gets back, Nelle will be firmly in place, and she’ll be an outsider.

Nelle says she doesn’t want to disrupt Michael’s life. It’s enough they’ve gotten closer. He says he wants to be there for her and the baby, and she tells him that’s the reason she never stopped loving him. Jason drops by, and asks if Michael can talk for minute about his mom. Nelle gives them some privacy. On her way out, Jason says he’s glad she and the baby are okay, and she makes a face like, yeah, right. Jason asks if Michael has talked to his mom, but he says not since the arraignment. Michael says she’s pleading guilty by reason of insanity. It’s what Diane wanted her to do, but it implies she pushed Nelle. Jason says that’s not what happened. Michael tells him Nelle said it did, and Jason asks if he believes her.

Anna says she has to figure out what to tell Robin, and Robert tells her to concentrate on that. Leave the search to the police and the WSB. Jordan comes in, and Robert shows her the bottom of the drawer, where the flash drive was. Anna says there’s no proof of it. Jordan says Peter left a letter for Maxie. Anna asks if she read it, and Jordan says it was a well-written plea for forgiveness. Well, he is a writer. Anna tells Robert to get on with it. Tell her how pathetic she is, thinking her son could be redeemed. He knows it’s tearing her up, but wringing her hands over Peter’s screwed up childhood doesn’t make him less accountable. Robin calls, and Robert says she doesn’t have to answer.

Peter wonders how he got there, and remembers the syringe stabbing him in the back. We see him letting go of the flash drive as he’s being dragged away. He calls out, asking if someone is there. He asks why they did this to him.

Nina tells Maxie that Anna did what she could to cover up her pregnancy. She gave the baby up for adoption, but Valentin found the family, made them give up the baby, and gave it to Faison. Maxie says it almost makes her feel sorry for Peter. Almost. Nina says one decision that Valentin made, destroyed so many lives. Maxie can’t process, and asks Nina what she’s going to do. Nina says divorce him. She’s not moving back; she’s moving ahead. Maxie knows something that might help; the antidote to all heartbreak. Deanna wheels James in. Maxie holds him, saying, James Malcom West, happy to meet you. Nina says, he’s absolutely perfect.

Sonny says it’s Carly’s word against Nelle’s, and Nelle wound up at the bottom of the stairs. Carly says she’ll do it, but she hates it. She wants to talk about something else, and asks how everybody is. Sonny is still trying to find a permanent caregiver for Mike, but Stella has been helping. Sonny thinks Stella likes Mike, and Carly says his dad is a charmer. She asks how Josslyn is, but Sonny hasn’t seen her much; she’s always with Oscar, volleyball, and school. Carly says, she’s doing it on purpose. She suggests Sonny find something to do with Josslyn and Avery. Sonny says Josslyn might be confused and angry, but she’s Carly’s daughter, and loyal to the core. Josslyn loves her. Michael texted that the baby is fine, and Nelle is back at the Quartermaine’s; she’s been released from the hospital. He hesitates, and says Michael also moved back in, to be close to her and the baby. Carly says, Nelle got what she wanted. Sonny says, for now, not forever. She asks if he’s sure about that. He tells her to get through the trial and Shadybrook; then deal with what she needs to. She says she’s going to do more than that. She’s going to expose Nelle for the lying snake she is. By the time she’s through, Nelle will be out on the street.

Jason tells Michael that Carly would never harm her grandchild. Michael knows he’s loyal, but he needs to take care of his family, and put them first. Jason isn’t going to argue with him, but tells him to be careful. Michael says he always is, and I laugh, because he wasn’t when he got Nelle pregnant. Jason leaves, and Nelle ducks down behind something when he walks past. She tells Michael that she couldn’t help but overhear. He said he was putting his family first. He says he meant her and baby, and tells her to go get some rest. He’s going to pack, but he’s coming right back. He’s not letting her out of his sight. Yeah, we know something’s up with this guy.

Nina says James is the most beautiful baby ever. He’s the perfect tribute to Nathan. Maxie says he looks like Nathan already. She can’t wait to watch him grow up, and look more and more like his dad. Nina says, it will be amazing. She remembers when her mom brought Nathan home. She let Nina hold him, and when she looked into his eyes, she fell in love; unconditional love. He taught her something powerful in life. Maxie asks if she wants to hold her nephew, and transfers the baby to Nina’s arms. She tells him that this is Aunt Nina, and says, he’s a heartbreaker.

Anna is on the phone with Robin. She says it was a big shock to find out Peter is Henrik. Robert’s phone rings. Anna tells Robin, for starters, Peter is missing. There are no leads yet, but everyone is on the case. She thinks it would be better to answer Robin’s questions in person. She’s taking the next flight out, and will be with her today; she’ll call when she lands. She tells Robin to never doubt she loves her. After she’s done, she tells Robert that she’s taking the next flight out. He wishes he could go, but the Bureau wants him to sort this mess out. She hopes they’re not too hard on him. He says he can handle it, but has a word of advice. She’s been Robin’s hero her whole life, but this will throw her for a loop. He says to give her space. Don’t crowd her; let her process, and figure it out. He says, she’s a prickly little thing; she gets it from him. He knows she wants Peter’s forgiveness, but don’t mention it to Robin. Let it be about her, and her needs; and what will help her. Not Anna’s guilt over Peter.

Nina knows what Maxie is thinking, and tells her it’s okay to say it. Maxie says Nathan should be there to hold his son. Imagine how over the moon he’d be. Nina thinks he knows. He knows this beautiful baby will never want for love. Nina tells Maxie that she knows she can be overbearing with love, and Maxie tells her to overbear away. She’s welcome in their lives day and night and in between. Nina tells the baby that Maxie may regret it.

Robert tells Anna that a lot of people love and depend on her, present company included. He tells her to stay safe, and tells Jordan he’ll be in touch. Jordan asks if Anna is all right. Anna asks if she has a copy of Peter’s letter to Maxie, and Jordan asks, why?

Nina gets a phone ding. Maxie asks if she has to go back to work, but Nina says it isn’t Crimson. Maxie says Valentin isn’t going to stop trying to win her back. Nina says there’s something else she has to take care of, but she’ll come back soon.

At the prison, Jason puts his hand on the glass, and so does Carly. It creeps me out a little. Like she’s pining for Jason more than Sonny. He apologizes for not being at her arraignment, but she’s glad he wasn’t. She pleaded insanity, and she’s glad she didn’t do it while he was watching. He says, why do it? She says even if he finds the blanket, it proves she had more motive. He tells her that Nelle said there was no blanket; it will prove she’s lying. Carly wonders how he can tie it to her. How can he prove any of it? He says Nelle had to buy the scarf and match it. If she did a search online, Spinelli can find it. She says even if he proves it all, he can’t prove she didn’t push Nelle. Diane is right. If she pleads not guilty, she’ll lose.

Anna visits Maxie. She says she saw the baby; he’s perfect. Mac has been texting nonstop; they’re so happy. So is Robin. Maxie says she called. Anna tells Maxie that she’s planning on seeing Robin to explain about Peter. Anna says she didn’t know who he was until the night of the Nurses’ Ball. Maxie says she doesn’t feel so bad that he fooled her, since he fooled a super spy. Anna says she’s sorry, and Maxie says it’s not her fault. No way could she know what Valentin would do, much less her child. Anna says she can’t be objective, but feels Peter knows he made a terrible mistake, and regrets it. She empathizes. Maxie says maybe it’s because she’s his mom. Anna says, maybe. She gives Maxie the letter, and says Peter left it for her.

Peter yells for help. The door opens, and we see legs in high heels. The camera pans up, and it’s Nina. Well, roll me up and call me curly. She’s the last person I thought it was.

Carly tells Jason her best chance is the insanity plea. She’ll go to Shadybrook for a few months, and be home. Jason reminds her of the last time she faked being crazy, and ended up in prison. He tells her not to do it again. She says the best lawyer in the country is telling her to do it, and so is Sonny; it’s a different situation. He tells her to listen to her own instincts. She can admit to what she didn’t do, or fight. She says she’d rather stay in this hole and rot before admitting she did something she didn’t do. He says it’s not about her. Josslyn, Michael, and Avery need their mother; and Sonny needs his wife. They need her to be free, not getting therapy. She says he’s the only person on earth who thinks she doesn’t need therapy. She’s sticking with the plea. Is he going to back her? He says, always, even when he knows she’s wrong. They do that hand thing again. No. Just no.

Michael calls Spinelli. He says he needs help; anything he can find on Nelle. He gives Spinelli some other names to search for. He says whatever it takes to prove she’s lying.

The Quartermaine bell rings. Nelle asks someone to get it, but it keeps ringing, so she gets up. It’s Sonny, who says, look who’s answering the door now. She says Michael isn’t there, but he says he’s looking for her.

On Monday, Oscar has something to take care of, Carly needs a favor, and Sonny wants to have a nice little chat with Nelle. I’ll bet.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Jason tells Sam he’s on his way out. He and Spinelli are working on getting evidence of Carly’s innocence. Sam says there’s not a lot of time. It’s about Drew.

Andre and Drew meet outside. Drew has been doing some thinking, and Andre asks if he wants to reconsider. Drew says just the opposite, and gives him an envelope. It’s a DNR. He says in case it goes the wrong way, just let him go.

At the hospital, Obrecht demands a word with Anna. Anna says it’s not the place, and Obrecht asks if Anna thinks she cares. It’s her fault Obrecht’s son is dead.

Peter says, if it isn’t his oldest friend. Valentin says he’s so sorry this is happening to him. Peter says he should be; he put the whole thing in motion. Valentin says, it’s true. He stole Peter, took him from a loving family, and brought him to his father. Peter says it’s a good thing there are bars between them, or he’d kill Valentin with his bare hands.

Ava has insufficient memory on her phone, and picks out things to send to the cloud. She sees the paternity test, and is about to delete it, and hears someone come in. It’s David. She tells him the gallery is closed, but he says he was hoping to pick up something beautiful.

Kiki and Elizabeth go to Monica’s office. Elizabeth tells Kiki that she can do this. Monica asks if everything is all right, and Kiki says, no. She’d like to file a complaint against Dr. Bensch. Monica asks on what grounds, and Kiki says for the past few months, he’s been sexually harassing her.

Jason tells Sam that Kim was just there. She told him Drew wants the procedure done, and Andrew has agreed, but he could be incapacitated if something goes wrong. She wanted Jason to stop him. Sam says if the procedure is going to work, Andre needs the flash drive. Peter has it, but is willing to make a trade. Jason asks what he wants, and Sam says, his freedom.

Andre asks if a DNR isn’t a little extreme, but Drew doesn’t think so. Andre has explained the risks, and he gets it. His hope is that once Jason’s memories are removed, his own original memories will surface. Andre says his latest research supports that, but if he’s unsuccessful, Drew could lose his cognitive abilities. Drew says, if that happens, he wants Andrew to honor his wishes, and let him die.

Obrecht tells Anna that she knows the truth about Nathan’s death, and why Faison came back. She calls Anna a hypocrite, judging her feelings for Faison, when she also shared his bed. Anna says it was one night. Obrecht says she knew everything about his bastard son.

Peter says he thought Valentin was the one person who found him worthwhile, but he wanted to use it as leverage against Anna. He tells Valentin not to insult them both by pretending their friendship meant anything. Valentin says he and Anna were both younger. He loved her, but she wouldn’t have him. He wanted her to hurt like he did. He was the only one who knew and realized she was pregnant. He followed her, and knew she’d left the baby. He assumed wrongly that she thought the baby was just an inconvenience, and he didn’t like that. He wanted to punish her. He took Peter to Faison, and regretted it every day since.

Anna tells Obrecht to keep her voice down. Obrecht says, to spare her embarrassment? It’s the least she deserves. Griff says, enough, and tells Obrecht she’s on the wrong floor to see the baby. Obrecht says this isn’t over. Anna’s actions took her son from her. What goes around comes around. She leaves, and Anna guesses Griff heard. He says it was hard not to, but it didn’t make sense. She says it will if he understands that Faison’s child is Peter, and is actually her son.

Jason tells Sam to back up, and asks when she talked to Peter. She says she went to tell him that she was grateful he kept Jason alive. Jason says he only did it to kill Faison, but she says that doesn’t change the fact that he’s there now. Jason tells her not to let Peter take advantage because of it. She says that’s what she told Peter. Drew said he’d rather have the procedure without the flash drive. It was a risk he was willing to take, but she can’t. Jason nods sagely.

Andre tells Drew it’s something that’s widely debated. Drew says he did some digging, and euthanasia has been legal in some states for at least two years. He doesn’t want his daughter to be afraid of him, and be a shell of a human being wile she’s growing up. He tells Andre to cheer up, and asks what happens next.

Peter tells Valentin it feels like another lie. Valentin says by the time he realized his horrible mistake, someone else was paying the price. Peter used Nathan, and lured Faison to Port Charles, but didn’t think about what Maxie stood to lose. By the time he looked up, Nathan was dead, and Maxie was a widow with a baby who is never going to know his father. He asks if Peter is going to stick around and make amends and mitigate the damage.

Anna tells Griff abut Valentin taking the baby. Griff says no wonder she was so determined to find him. Anna says she wanted to find him because she realized he could be a carrier. She asks if Griff didn’t say he just tested someone for Huntington’s disease. Was it Peter? He must have thought it was a strange coincidence. He couldn’t have known Peter was Faison’s son. Her phone rings, and Griff gives a good worried look. He thinks about when he told Peter that he’d keep what he knew in confidence.

Ava tells David that she can stay open a few minutes longer. She knows he’s been helping Kiki. David says she has a lot of potential. He just hopes… She says, what? He says he’s sorry; he shouldn’t have said anything. She says she wants to hear any concerns he has, and he says she seems off lately. He asks if there’s something going on in her personal life.

Kiki tells Monica after she rejected his gifts and kiss, he was either hostile or overly friendly. This afternoon, he threatened to submit a negative evaluation if she didn’t have sex with him. Monica asks if he said those exact words, and Kiki says he showed her a draft of her evaluation, and it was terrible and untrue. He told her that he could revise it in her favor if she met him at his hotel room, but she said no. Monica is sorry this happened under her watch, and asks Elizabeth if she witnessed anything, but Elizabeth says she’s just there for moral support. She says she believes Kiki, but Monica says, unfortunately, that’s not enough. She asks if anyone witnessed his improper behavior, and Kiki says Dillon thought Dr. Bensch was hitting on her. She adds, in all fairness, he was comforting her after the anniversary of Morgan’s death, and she let him. Elizabeth says she didn’t let him do anything; she didn’t ask for any of this. Kiki says other students mentioned him liking her, but it was more of a teacher’s pet thing. He only made advances when they were alone. Monica says, so there’s no proof. Kiki asks if Monica thinks she’s lying.

Sam asks if Jason wants to help her break Peter out of custody. He says it’s Drew’s risk to take, and she shouldn’t interfere. She says she’s going to anyway, but Jason is afraid she’ll get caught by herself, and he has Carly to deal with. She also can’t break him out because it’s too dangerous for Anna.

Griff asks what Anna is going to do. She says they’ve probably scheduled transport for Peter. She wants to be with him every step of the way, but he doesn’t want anything to do with her. She can’t believe she didn’t see it; the clues were right in front of her. She would have warned him, and helped him to escape; the son she abandoned. She would have done it even if he was guilty. She would have gone against her own agency. It looks like he’s going to Steinmaur for who knows how long, and there’s nothing she can do. Griff says he has to tell her something. Deanna interrupts, saying Anna’s treatment is ready. Griff says it can wait. She thanks him for his support, and says she doesn’t know what she’d do without him.

Peter says Valentin knew his father was obsessed with Anna. Why not tell him that Anna is his mother? Valentin says, strategy; always leave something in reserve. Watching Peter grow up and become his own person, he became sympathetic of the situation, and his objective changed. If he’d known, Faison would have been more obsessed with Peter than Anna. He would have never escaped. He became his own man, and when the time was right, Valentin helped him establish a new identity. Peter asks if he should thank him, and Valentin says, no. The worst thing isn’t that it happened, but that Valentin is his only friend.

Andre says it would be irresponsible to wipe out Drew’s memories without backup. Drew says he’s willing to take the risk. Andre says he isn’t. If he knew where the flash drive was, it would be different. Drew says he knows.

Ava asks David how Kiki seems off. He says she comes in late, and she’s not quite on her game. She’s easily distracted, and using her phone all the time. Something or someone is taking her attention away. Ava explains that her little sister went missing, and it was a very difficult time. She’s fine, but it put them through a lot. He says he’s sorry to hear about it. He thinks Kiki has the ability to be a fine doctor, but he’s seen students with potential go up in flames in medical school. The pressure is too much, and they snap; vanishing from exams or giving wild stories as excuses for poor grades. He says it’s a demanding program, and Ava says she’s confident Kiki can handle it. David says his office looks barren. She tells him to email a photo of his office, and she’ll have some selections for him to choose from in the morning. He says, just in case, and gives his card to her. He’s glad Kiki has a strong support system. He hopes she knows how lucky she is.

Monica says in no way is she accusing Kiki of lying, or implying she might have misunderstood. In the absence of proof, she can’t act directly on a complaint. Elizabeth says she’s the chief of surgery. Doesn’t she have wiggle room? Monica says she’s under higher scrutiny; she has a history, and promised the board to recuse herself from these issues. Kiki will have to go to HR. They’ll take the lead, and launch an investigative interview, and every effort will be made to keep it confidential. Kiki says it doesn’t matter. He’s going to know it came from her.

Jason tells Sam if he’d gotten to the pier ten seconds later, Anna would have been dead. Peter was holding a gun to her head. He would have killed her; that’s what the book was about. He can’t let Anna die, and the only way she’s safe is if Peter is dead or in Steinmaur. Sam says, thanks for listening. He asks her not to do it by herself; he can’t let her. What about her kids? She says it’s not up to him. She can’t let Drew have the procedure without the flash drive; it’s too dangerous. It’s her choice, like all the choices he made that broke her heart, but she respected them. Now he’s going to respect hers. You go, Sam.

Drew tells Andre that Peter has the flash drive. He’ll give it to Drew if Drew breaks him out of jail, but the price is too high, but this matter is something else. He wants to have the procedure done as planned. Andre says he can’t do it

Peter asks what Valentin is going to do for him, calling him friend. Valentin asks what Peter wants him to do. Peter says, as it stands, he’s about to be extradited. There are enough charges to hold him years or a decade. Valentin thinks Anna must have some pull, but Peter asks why trust the bitch who abandoned him. Valentin says Anna did what she could to protect him. He’s the one who screwed up. Peter says he had it right the first time; he was an inconvenience. She handed him over and never looked back. Maybe it was easier to say he was in a good home. It’s pathetic how Valentin is defending a woman who despises him. Valentin says if he won’t take help form Anna, what does Peter want him to do?

Griff goes to the gallery. He thinks about being with Kiki in bed. He asks Ava if she’s ready to go. She asks what’s going on with Kiki.

Kiki is concerned David could make an even bigger effort to make her life a living hell. Monica says the hospital has to remain impartial until something has been proven. It’s a very involved process, but she can rearrange the schedule, so there’s no contact. Kiki says she already did, and he changed his to overlap. Elizabeth suggests that she or Griff be scheduled at the same time. Kiki asks what happens if her accusations are found to be true, and discovers although he can be suspended, and she could get financial damages, he’s not fired. Monica says, unfortunately, it’s the policy. They’re becoming more aware as a society, but the policies in place haven’t caught up. Monica says Kiki will have her full support, but wants her to know what to expect. Kiki says a good friend told her if someone doesn’t out the abuser, they’re free to abuse someone else. She’s moving forward.

Griff asks what Ava is talking about, and she says a customer who works with her thought either the pressure is getting to her or something is going on in her personal life. She says she’ll talk to Kiki, but he looks anxious himself. He says he and Anna had an intense conversation. Faison was hounding Anna her whole life. His son was living in Port Charles, but he’s not just Faison’s son; he’s also Anna’s. She gave up the child to a loving family, but Peter ended up back with Faison. Anna is taking it hard. It didn’t have to turn out this way; he could have done something. Ava realizes it’s the test he didn’t have permission to run. Peter was his patient, and he discovered Faison was his father.

Andre suggests Drew is a wealthy man, and could help Peter that way. Drew says he’s not working with him. Andre says he wants his life back, and the only way is to give his help.

Griff explains why he ran the test. Peter begged him to keep his secret, saying Jason would kill him. Ava says she couldn’t blame him. Griff says he knew the risk, and watched him get close to Maxie. Ava says he did what he thought best. Telling Anna the truth is the last thing he should do.

Jason and Sam go to Peter’s cell. Valentin is sitting there, but no Peter.

Monica says she’ll notify HR, and asks Kiki to give a statement. She says perhaps more women will come forward after an official accusation. Elizabeth hopes the truth comes out. Elizabeth gets a call, and has to go back to work. David sees them, and smiles at Kiki, who follows Elizabeth.

Ava says Griff can get fired. He says Peter knows Anna is one of his best friends. He doesn’t want her to hear the truth from someone else. She says that’s how he gets tripped up. He tries to do the selfless thing, when it’s selfish. It might ease his conscience, but what a friend needs the most is always support. Why bother her with the knowledge. He says maybe she’s right; he doesn’t know. Ava says she’ll keep his secret.

Peter grabs his room key from a cleaning car. He opens a wall vent, and takes out a whole load of money, and his passport.

Sam asks where Peter is, and Valentin say he escaped somehow. Sam thinks he couldn’t have gotten far, but she and Jason run into Anna on their way out. Ann asks what’s going on. Sam says Peter escaped. They all look at Valentin.

Peter leaves a letter for Maxie on the table. He goes out, and comes back.

Andre tells Drew that he’s secured a medical facility for the next three days. If he agrees to wait to the end of the last day, a lot can change. Drew doesn’t think it’s likely that Peter will hand over the flash drive, but Andre says they might not need it when they move forward.

Peter leaves a letter for Drew. He takes out the flash drive. The door opens behind him, and he gets a  syringe in his back

Anna says the security cameras are normal, but there’s no sign of Peter’s escape. The guard has been paged. Valentin asks if they want to let him out, and they all say, no.  Anna knows Sam and Jason wouldn’t be working with Valentin, and must be on their own. She doesn’t know why they’d help, unless it’s to kill Peter. Sam says Peter has the flash drive. Now he’s gone, and so is any chance to restore Drew’s memories.

Peter is dragged away.

Tomorrow, Peter sees Maxie, Carly asks if there’s been progress, and Nelle apologizes to Michael for what she did to Carly.

Southern Charm

Ashley tells Kathryn to get used to her, and she sees the kids more than Kathryn. Kathryn says if Ashley wants her to be put in her place, she’ll effing do it. Ashley says she knows more than anyone. Chelsea tells Ashely, enough, and Danni says they know her more than Ashley does. She sees how the kids are when they get back from seeing her Thomas notices something is going on, and Craig says, this is bad, dude. Kathryn asks what’s wrong with the kids, and Ashley says they don’t sleep. In her interview – where she’s wearing the most fabulous earrings ever – Kathryn says the kids only get to see her for two days. Ashley says what’s scarier is that they’re start getting more time with her. The table starts rumbling, and Kathryn tells her to STFU. Ashley tells Kathryn to watch herself, and Danni asks if she’s threatening Kathryn. She’s not moving in the right direction with her. Ashley says she doesn’t respect Kathryn, and Kathryn says, good to know. Thomas is encouraged to step in. Whitney says an intervention is needed. Ashley, who just keeps on vomiting horrible words and flipping her hair (or tossing her head like a circus pony, if you will), says that people warned her about Kathryn when she started dating Thomas. Danni suggests she stop talking. Ashley says she’s heard things from the nanny – the nanny Kathryn fired. Danni finally tells Ashley to stop flipping her hair. Whitney asks if Thomas would… and Thomas says, salvage the evening? In his interview, he says he’s trying to be respectful toward Ashley, but the mother of his children also deserves respect. He’s in a difficult position. Ashley says she hopes Kathryn becomes the best mother she can be. Kathryn is like, go away with your bullsh*t. Danni drags Thomas over to the side, and says she is not allowed to talk about the mother of his kids that way. Ashley asks how many times Kathryn visited her son in the hospital. In her interview, Kathryn says Thomas told her that she couldn’t go. Who does Ashley think is in control. Ashley says she didn’t give a f***. Danni tells Thomas that Ashley has no right to be talking like she is, and to shut her down. Chelsea tells Kathryn not to engage, and Ashley tells her to shut up. Danni tells Ashley to go; no one wants her there anyway. Ashley repeats this is what she heard from the nanny. Thomas is like, come on, but she can’t stop, and keeps babbling as he leads her away from the table.

Chelsea can’t even speak. Kathryn is concerned she’s coming back, but Chelsea says she wouldn’t. Craig thinks they’re coming, but they keep moving. Kathryn says, that was lovely. Whitney is shocked at how well Kathryn handled it. He says, years ago, she would have stabbed Ashley with a fork. Kathryn says she’s glad have them around her.

Ashley tells Thomas that she doesn’t like any of those girls. In her interview, Kathryn says having everybody banding around her and having her back is crazy, and feels wonderful. At the table, Chelsea says she can’t imagine having kids, and loving them like she does, and having someone say sh*t like that. Chelsea starts to cry, saying she was trying to be nice and include Ashley, but that was deep. Whitney says it was intense. Chelsea says she’s an evil bitch. Shep says he has to download what happened.

Ashley tells Thomas that she was trying to be her kind, sweet self. She kissed Kathryn’s ass. She says this like, four times, then says she’s done kissing her ass. She knew she wasn’t invited to Saint’s party, and Kathryn said she’d only be around for another month. She says how bad of a mother do you have to be, if the court gives – excuse her – the kids to a convicted felon. He’s wonderful, but she’s sick of everyone feeling sorry for Kathryn. Thomas suggests Ashley is better off not even engaging. This chick is some piece of work.

Danni flips her hair around. Chelsea says it’ s all about the Charleston thing. Ashley tells Thomas that she’s not leaving; he’s stuck with her. Shep tells Kathryn that he’s sorry. Thomas stops by and says they’re going to sit inside. When they’re gone, Craig says the worst part is that they have to take the ferry together. He says that Kathryn is sober, and crushing life. They didn’t need him to save the day. Everyone laughs.

Ashley tells Thomas that she’s never fought for a man. She still hasn’t. She was fighting about an invite to a birthday party. She says she doesn’t see life without him in it, and she’d marry him tomorrow. His body language says he wants to dig a very, very, very deep hole, and crawl in it. Kathryn and Naomie go to the bathroom. Chelsea and Austen sit by the fire. He tells her that he talked to Victoria recently, and they’re giving it another shot, but he doesn’t want it to affect their friendship. The last time, he missed her, and doesn’t want to lose her again. She says he’d told her the reason he’d ended things, was because the spark wasn’t there. He tells her that he said it because of her. He asks at what point she knew it wasn’t going to work out. She says where she’s at is different from where he is. He can party and live it up. She thinks she’d eventually bore the hell out of him. She says he shouldn’t have had to choose; she should have never put him in that situation. She can deal with it now; she was being emotional. In her interview, she says every now and then, she wonders if she’s missing something. They are close friends and you’re supposed to be with your best friend. They hug, and he talks about sitting in rocking chairs together one day.

Shep asks Ashley what happened? It seemed like they were getting along; he doesn’t get it. Ashley said she’d been appeasing Kathryn, and she wants to keep her enemies close. She says there’s more to it, and Shep warns her not to say something she can’t take back. In his interview, he says he doesn’t like her. He tells her that what she sees on daily basis is different. She doesn’t know everything; only Kathryn and Thomas know their history, and she needs to be deferential toward their past. She says Kathryn doesn’t care about the kids. In his interview, Shep says she should know better. Whatever she’s thinking, Kathryn isn’t going away. Why dredge up a past that’s not there? It’s outrageous, unfair, and unkind. Shep announces the ferry is leaving. Ashley suggests pushing Kathryn in the water. Wtf is wrong with this woman?

Nice ferry; curtains and everything. Chelsea says it’s up to Kathryn if Ashley can stay in the house. If it makes her uncomfortable, Chelsea feels she shouldn’t be there. Ashley runs to tell Thomas, and he gets loud and confrontational with Chelsea. Chelsea says she’s the one who invited Kathryn, and doesn’t want her to feel uncomfortable. Thomas gets all pissed, and yells that she has no say, so STFU. Wow. Austen tells him that he can’t talk to anyone like that, and Thomas starts the finger-pointing thing, and gets big like a turkey. Danni tells Ashley to quit smirking, which she totally is. Ashley calls her an enabler, and Danni says eff you. In his interview, Austen says this speaks volumes about Ashley’s character, which is trash. Shep says he had a tough night; it was not what he wanted. Austen sits with Chelsea, and they watch Thomas and Ashley make out. In her interview, Kathryn says they’re like a sick, unhealthy, mental hospital room couple. I am so laughing my way through this episode. Whitney tells Thomas to calm it down, and it gets quiet. Thomas apologizes, saying he was ungentlemanly. Chelsea says, thanks, and he asks if he’s cool with everyone. No one is really talking to him though.

Back to the house. Ashley tells Thomas she’s frustrated, but Thomas doesn’t want to talk about it. Shep, Austen, and Whitney go out to a bar. Naomie whines about Craig saying he’ll be making breakfast, and he says he doesn’t need to hear negativity. On the porch, Danni asks Thomas if she’s an enabler. Ashley peeks out, and peeks back in. Danni tells Thomas that he didn’t hear the half of it. Thomas says he wants to respect her, and let her finish. Kathryn says the stuff she was saying wasn’t even true, and she was inappropriate in every way.

Ashley tells Chelsea that she tried. Chelsea wonders if she thinks being evil makes it better. Ashley say she doesn’t want to be taken advantage of, and wants to know why Kathryn isn’t being nice. Chelsea points out what Ashley said to her, and Ashley says it’s been building up; it didn’t just happen tonight. Ashley can’t believe Kathryn really wants to get to know her, but Chelsea says, she does. Chelsea isn’t sure she can turn back from this, and says she thought they had a good relationship, and were doing co-parenting right. Ashley stomps her foot (okay, I made that up, but she should have), and says she doesn’t want to hang out with Kathryn. She’s been being nice for the sake of the effing children. She says, everyone moves on, like Kathryn has been stalking Thomas. Chelsea tries again, telling Ashley she just said evil sh*t about their mother. Ashley says, just because you gave birth to something, doesn’t mean you’re a mother. Then she says, accountability, Chelsea, like she’s a character in Hamilton or 1776. Chelsea tells her to stop talking to her like that. Ashley says she doesn’t need Chelsea. Danni tells Thomas that Ashley owes Kathryn an apology. Kathryn says Ashley owes her going away and never coming back. Thomas says it’s a difficult situation, and Kathryn says it’s going to be a legal situation. Thomas does a spit take with his drink. Thomas says Ashley gets protective, and Kathryn says she has nothing to protect. So Thomas goes for the, she’s half Italian excuse, saying they’re a passionate people, and wave their hands around when they talk. Kathryn calls bullsh*t. She tells Thomas that she doesn’t have much to say, but it’s a damn shame. Thomas sighs.

Crag asks if Austen is a bacon wizard; he’ll do the eggs. Naomie tells the other girls it’s nice that everyone was there for Kathryn. She was trembling the whole time. In bed with Thomas, Ashley says she’s rehashing what happened in her mind, and she’s not going to have any girlfriends. Thomas thinks she should lay low. Danni says what Ashley was saying was inappropriate, and Naomie says they were things you should never say to someone doing better, and moving on from their past. Danni wonders how she can bring herself back, and Chelsea says she’s not apologetic at all. She ain’t right. Ashley tells  Thomas she’s not ready to leave; it will mean they got the best of her. He tells her not to fight, but she can’t promise she won’t stick up for herself. He tells her that she doesn’t always need to have the last word. It comes off as petty.

Shep asks, why so many mushrooms? Kathryn joins the girls, and says she thought last night lasted ten hours. Chelsea says she didn’t know how to react. She never had a man yell at her like that. Kathryn says they’re the ones with her children. They discuss breakfast, and decide to eat. Kathryn asks if they’ll have her back, and Chelsea shows her the big hand drink holder.

Shep calls Cameran, but gets voicemail. The breakfast is presented. Naomie says Craig waited until after they broke up to fix breakfast. Thomas and Ashley come in, and the girls are quiet. Ashley opens champagne. Kathryn wonders how she’s not embarrassed, and just staying there. Danni calls her shameless. They group realizes Whitney is missing, and Chelsea suggests he’s hanging upside down in the closet. Austen calls Whitney, who went to get his own breakfast. Chelsea has rented a charter boat for crabbing. Shep asks Ashley and Thomas if they could just chill at the house. He’s hired a chef to prepare their haul. Whitney comes back bearing groceries. Ashley tells Thomas that she hopes their boat doesn’t capsize.

In the car, Shep thinks Ashley doesn’t have a lot going on upstairs. Kathryn says the elevator doesn’t go all the way up, and Craig says it stops at random floors too. Naomie says Thomas is easily manipulated. She tells them that she rode back with them, and Ashley told Thomas why they were perfect for one another. it was weird. Danni says she and Kathryn could have had a good relationship. She’s acting like nothing happened. Ashley goes upstairs, and Whitney tells Thomas that he has his hands full. He asks what prompted it, and Thomas says Ashley felt excluded with Saint’s party. He says she shouldn’t have gone there. Until he knows what the future holds, it’s premature for Ashley to step in the role of holding his baby mama to account. I can’t believe this jerk calls Kathryn his baby mama. Whitney says Kathryn remained cool, calm, and controlled under such a withering attack. Thomas is surprised. He’s never seen that in anyone, least of all, her. Maybe she has changed.

Shep introduces the captain of the boat he’s chartered, Michael aka Papa Bear. They go back twenty years; their parents were best friends. Chelsea gives her group a tour on the way there, saying she was a river rat growing up. They’re going with Chris, an old neighbor. Chris’s first memory of Chelsea is her waving as he went by in his father’s truck when she was five. It’s hazy, and Austen says it’s like the setting for a horror movie; it’s ominous.

Shep hooks a little shark. Poor thing. They take a picture, and let it go.

Austen says this time next year, they’ll be drinking his beer. He wonders if Shep is catching anything.

Craig hooks a rock. Shep takes a picture.

Chris pulls up a net of crabs. They joke around, making one grab Naomie’s boot.

Ashley messes with Thomas’s hair, calling him the cutest thing, and making me gag. She says they’d have beautiful babies, and he agrees. She says they should keep practicing, and that he’s a keeper. She paints his toenails, and says everyone on the high seas is fishing for dinner. He asks if she feels the need to apologize, and she says, no. Those were her true feelings, and she still feels that way.

Craig tells Kathryn that she has something in common with crazy girl. Neither of them use birth control with Thomas, who told them at dinner. Shep thinks Ashley will be far away very soon. Craig says, not if she gets knocked up.

Still trying to get Ashley to be a human, Thomas asks if she regrets the content of her speech. She says she learned long ago not wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and pigs like it. She wrestled with pigs last night. Oy.

Craig thinks Ashley wants to be set for life, and Kathryn laughs, saying she’ll never get anything. Shep says she did get $10K in clothes. Kathryn says all she ever got was a purse and a suitcase. We flash back to her Louis Vuitton being put in the car.

Chelsea likes this side of Austen. Only camo would make it better. She says they’re eating good tonight. Naomie takes selfies with Danni.

Ashley asks if Thomas had a fun day. She tells him it’s nice to have a buddy you can do nothing with and still have fun. Chelsea’s group brings in their haul. Chef Orchid tells them they did very well, and they go off to shower. Shep brings in three flounder and a tile fish. Chelsea says they crushed it, and he says the  conditions were rough. We see a clip of them buying the flounder at the fish market. Craig leaves to shower. Shep brings the fish to Orchid. It starts raining, so things have to be rearranged. Craig ran out of clothes, and in his interview, says he doesn’t give a sh*t. He really does, but he’s going to act like he doesn’t

Orchid beings out appetizers and makes drinks. Naomie tells Danni that it’s weird, acting like nothing happened. Chelsea says she’s keeping the peace. Craig comes in wearing a hoodie with nothing under it. Ashley asks Thomas to feed her, disgusting everyone. In her interview, Naomie says, feed yourself; you’re thirty-something years old. Thomas asks about Cameran’s baby update, and Chelsea says if she’s not there on Monday, Cameran is having a C-section. Ashley gripes that Kathryn exists. Kathryn asks Naomie to go sit somewhere else. Shep asks what Thomas and Ashley did, and Thomas says she gave him a pedicure. He asks how long Thomas is going to have paint on his nails, and Ashley says as long as she wants. Then she’s going to reapply it. This is like some kind of creepy control thing. She asks who the boas is, and Thomas says he is. Ashley says, he thinks he is, and Shep says he’s never seen him not being the boss. Ashley insists she is, and Thomas says he lets her think that. In his interview, Shep says Ashley’s confrontation with Kathryn turned her, in her mind, into the biggest badass in Hilton Head. She asks Shep to get her a shot – chilled. He says okay, and she says she told him she was the boss. The look on his face is priceless, and I wonder if he ever brings the shot. I wouldn’t.

There’s an outdoor room that’s enclosed, where Naomie, Danni, and Kathryn are sitting. Shep joins them. He says he doesn’t like her. Ashley has an irrational confidence that makes him sick to his stomach. She’s saying she’s in charge, and she told him, good talk. Shep says, eff you. She’s lucky he’s letting her breath the same air. She’s stealing his oxygen. He says she’s on her way out. Crazy as he is, Thomas doesn’t like it. He’s in there sitting without them, when he wants to be T-Rav. Ashley is a pariah.

The food looks amazing. Whitney puts his fork right in a platter, and takes a bite. Craig says they’ve created farm to table. Talking about the crab, Craig says size has nothing to do with it, and Shep asks if that’s what the last girl told him. Everyone sits at the dining table. Thomas and Ashley need seats. Kathryn asks Naomie to scoot down, and she says no. No one is getting the extra chair that’s needed. So Ashley stomps off to get it herself. Shep asks if she’ll get him a beer while she’s at it, and Craig is dying laughing. Thomas gets up to help her, but he’s too late. She brings in a chair from the porch, and someone says there’s room behind Whitney. They should get children’s table for her, since she acts like a child. She also can’t comprehend how to eat shellfish.

Shep asks for everyone’s attention. He and Chelsea thank them for coming and experiencing it with them. Chelsea says she’s proud of where she’s from. Shep says Charleston is fantastic, but it has a positive vibe here. Chelsea toasts to friends and good times. Victoria calls Austen, who steps outside. Chelsea thinks they should move the conversation to the living room, and Whitney gripes that he was still eating. Danni says what about doing the dishes, and asks if he’s ever done a dish. He says he has, but I don’t believe it.

Victoria starts in on Austen about a picture of him and Chelsea on the ferry, where she says Chelsea is kissing his arm. She tells him it’s disrespectful, she can’t believe it, and they’re a-holes. He thinks she’s overreacting, and she always has when it involves Chelsea. He says he’s not going to feel weird about a hug, and he’s not talking her off the ledge every time she has an insecure thought. She sends the picture, and it looks innocuous to me. He asks if she wants it to end like this; her being jealous of Chelsea holding his arm because it’s cold. Victoria insists she’s kissing his arm, and Austen says, no, she’s not. He asks if she’s serious. Then he says, hello…?

To be continued…

Next time, Chelsea goes to her childhood home, Shep has surgery, Craig goes to therapy, and Saint’s birthday party happens. Kathryn asks Thomas if he’d like to stay for dinner, but I don’t see any sign of Ashley.

🍸 Best. Episode. Ever. And extra- long. I’m not a doctor, and don’t play one on TV, but Ashley is insane. And Thomas is even insaner to be with her.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Jason talks to Spinelli on the phone, saying they have to prove Nelle set up Carly. He tells Spinelli that she left a trail somewhere, and they have to find it. He opens the door, and Kim is there.

Curtis sees Sam sitting on a bench. She’s like, hi, stranger, and he says he’s been making merry. Since he proposed to Jordan, she can’t blame a brother for wanting to celebrate. She says he missed a lot last night. He says he’s a good investigator, but bows to her expertise, and asks how she figured out that Peter was Henrik.

Peter tells Drew that it’s a simple transaction. Help him get out, and he’ll give Drew the means to remember his life as Drew. It’s in his possession.

Nina calls Nora from the hospital. She wants to start divorce proceedings, and wants Nora to represent her. Obrecht surprises her. She asks if the baby is okay. Nina says he’s small, but growing every day, and Maxie is doing fine. Obrecht wants to see her grandson, but Nina says there are a few things she needs to know.

Alexis looks at a picture of Mikkos, and goes through some Cassadine keepsakes. Her doorbell rings. It’s Valentin. He calls her Natasha. I love that name. It’s too bad she didn’t keep it. I had a German Shepherd named Natasha.

Elizabeth asks Kiki if David actually propositioned her. She’s not doubting it; she just doesn’t want to misunderstand. Kiki says he offered her his hotel key, and told her that he’d be waiting, if she wanted a better evaluation. It’s not the first time he came on to her.

Kim hopes Jason doesn’t mind; Josslyn gave her the address. He tells her it’s not a good time. She says she wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t important. Drew is about to take a terrible risk, and she thinks Jason is the one person who can stop him.

Sam tells Curtis how Peter had already made arrangements to meet Anna, but thank God, Jason showed up. Curtis wonders, if Jason got the drop on Peter, why is he still alive? Sam says Anna threatened to kill Jason, and Curtis says that’s taking law enforcement to the next level. She tells him to brace himself – Anna is Peter’s mother. She explains that Faison got Anna pregnant, she gave the baby up, and now they have Peter. (Really. The explanation was that simple.) Curtis thinks that explains why there’s no record of a history; it was forged. Sam doesn’t think it was entirely, and that the past couple of years, Peter was living under his new name. Curtis asks what happens to him now. Sam says the WSB is working on extradition. Curtis says he knows he’s fired. Sam tells him that Drew put out a press release. Now the truth is out. She thinks Drew needs time to himself to figure out who he is, and she needs to rebuild her own life.

Peter tells Drew that the baseline map of his memories is on the flash drive. It was hidden in an ornament, and given to Anna. She wasn’t aware of it, and donated it to the park Christmas tree, where he appropriated it. A copy of Drew’s memories is his for a price.

Valentin wants to solicit Alexis’s work as an attorney. He’ll pay her hourly, and make a generous contribution toward her daughter’s charity. He wants to move the bulk of his assets to a trust for Charlotte, and avoid any potential legal difficulties. Alexis asks if he’s worried about a lawsuit, and he says he can’t be too careful, but not yet. She asks why her, and he says she’s family; they should help each other. He looks at a piece of jewelry in her keepsake box.

Julian leaves a message for Kim to stop by Charlie’s. Lucas shows up there, and tells Julian he needs help. It’s about his biological mother.

Obrecht asks Nina to explain, and Nina says Peter delivered the baby by the side of the road. Obrecht says she’ll bake him a strudel to thank him. Nina says there’s more. He’s really Henrik. Obrecht says that’s not possible. She remembers Henrik as shy and clumsy, tripping over his own feet. Nina says, obviously, he’s changed. He was Maxie’s friend, and at the fundraiser with her. He was also there when Nathan got shot. Faison wasn’t going to Crimson to find Maxie, but to find Peter, and Nathan was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Obrecht asks if Maxie knows, and Nina tells her yes. Peter is in jail, but she doesn’t know what’s going to happen. Obrecht says there’s time to deal with that later, but now she wants to see her grandson. Nina says she’s not finished.

Jason tells Kim, whatever is going on, he can’t help. Carly is his priority. Kim is sorry about what’s happened, but Carly’s life isn’t on the line, and Drew’s might be. Jason says Drew can take care of himself, but Kim says he’s also Oscar’s father – Jason’s nephew. Oscar is just getting to know him, and if he loses him, it will break his heart. She asks if he’ll hear her out for Oscar’s sake, and Jason agrees.

Sam tells Curtis that she and Drew acquired Aurora to create a safe lifestyle for their family, and she thinks they did that. She wants to support him, and thinks she has, but she’s not wired that way. Curtis gets it. She wants variety, stimulation, meeting new people, and challenges that make her think quickly on her feet. They’re wired the same way. He tells her to look no further. He’s her partner.

Drew says Peter had the flash drive since Christmas. He could have made it known, or given it to someone anonymously, but held on to it just in case. Peter says, preparing for every eventuality is good business practice. Drew says it’s not business; it’s his life. Peter says it has everything on it, and it’s his gift to Drew – if he gets him out of there.

Nina tells Obrecht that Valentin knew. Obrecht says he worked for Faison, so probably saw Henrik when he was home on breaks from school. He also knew Henrik’s mother. Obrecht says she was a streetwalker; one of the many Faison hired to resemble Anna. Nina says, wrong. He never knew the truth. Henrik’s mother is Anna.

Alexis tells Valentin that rooting through her things is no way to solicit her services. He asks if she was feeling nostalgic, and she says she was feeling grateful to escape with her sanity intact. Valentin says he has failings, but galloping insanity isn’t one of them. Alexis says, no, but he inherited a lack of scruples, morality, and a semblance of a conscience. He says he thought she tried to avoid everything Cassadine, but she says she was trying to fill in the gap. Valentin says if she works for him, he’ll tell her everything.

Kiki tells Elizabeth that at first, David was super nice and complementary. He suggested medical school, and encouraged her through the whole process. It was when he started insisting on taking her out for meals and giving her gifts, things got weird. She thought he was just being a mentor. Elizabeth says a mentor isn’t supposed to behave like that. Kiki didn’t want to seem ungrateful or over sensitive. She didn’t know how far it had gone until he kissed her a few months ago. Then she thought maybe she’d misunderstood, and had sent the wrong signals. She told him she didn’t have those kinds of feelings for him, and he seemed to accept it, but then treated her differently. When he wasn’t being extra hard on her for little things, he was super nice, and easy going, and acted like the reprimands and chewing out never happened. He showed her a draft of her evaluation. It was a disaster, but he told her there was still time for revisions – if she was waiting in his hotel room. Elizabeth asks if Kiki thinks he’s there, but she thinks he’s still lurking around somewhere. Elizabeth says he’s about to get what’s coming to him.

Kim tells Jason that Andre thinks at best, he can remove Jason’s memories from Drew, and he won’t recall anything before he came to Port Charles. At worst, he could have severe brain damage. He’s risking the ability to reason and feel, but he wants his own life without Jason’s memories. Jason asks what he can do, and Kim asks if he thinks Drew won’t listen because of Sam.

Sam asks if Curtis wants to open a PI firm and he’s inviting her to join him. He says he already has a thriving business, but there’s too much work to do it alone. She asks if he’s trying to recruit her before she’s his biggest competition. He says she knows how valuable a partner is, and it would be a smart move. Even their names sound great – Ashford and Caine. Sam messes with her ring, and tells him it’s McCall; she already filed paperwork to change it back. Curtis likes it even better – Ashford and McCall. She asks why his name is first, and he says it sounds better. He can also offer the argument that it’s alphabetical, like Lennon and McCartney. It was argued for years who was more talented and appealing, but both were brilliant, and more so together. She says it’s one of the best arguments she’s heard, and he asks if it worked. She says she doesn’t know. She has to talk to Drew. She has things to finalize with him, and a few loose ends tie up.

Drew asks if Peter wants him to break him out. Peter says he should know how; he did for his father. He can make the choice to be the man he was meant to be, or carry his brother’s memories. Drew tells him Andre has agreed to oversee the procedure, and wipe out Jason’s memories. Peter says, without the flash drive, there’s no way to restore Drew’s memories, but Drew says, who knows? Maybe they’re still there. Peter says maybe they’ll come back without Jason’s memories there, or he’ll have no mind at all. Drew says it’s a risk he’ll have to take. Peter says it would be an even trade; he’s making a mistake. Drew says he’s made a lot of them, but he’s not going to make the mistake of setting him free. He calls Peter Henrik, and tells him to enjoy his time there. He leaves, as Peter calls after him.

Obrecht is shocked, and Nina says there’s no question that Anna is Peter’s mother. She had the baby in secret, and gave it away. Valentin found out, and took the baby, giving it to Faison. He never told Faison that Anna was the mother. Obrecht says if Faison had known the baby was the product of a union with Anna, he would have been more obsessed. Peter never would have escaped. Nina tells her that Valentin said the same thing. Obrecht suggests they see the baby. They have a living reminder of her beautiful son, and Nina’s beautiful brother.

Lucas gives Julian a baby scrapbook, and says his mother’s thoughts are fuzzy about his grandparents. He asks if Julian could fill it in. Julian couldn’t be happier. Did Lucas think he’d turn him down? Lucas says he’d be within his rights; they asked him to keep his distance. Julian understands parents protecting their child. Lucas says they have to get the child before they can protect it. The birth mother could change her mind any time during the process. It’s far from a done deal. She could pull the rug out at any time.

Alexis wonders what Valentin is really up to, and he asks what he’d have to gain by lying? She tells him just because she doesn’t know his motive, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have one. He says, spoken like a true Cassadine. No one knows the family better than he does. She says the family didn’t know he existed. Neither one of them had any meaningful contact with their father. Valentin says he’s a demon for research, and has learned a lot since living on the estate. She says it was left to him as a last resort. Their father would never have named his daughter as heir. He asks if she had wanted to inherit it, and she says, hell no, but he says it’s sweet to get validation, even if it’s too late. She asks why she’d want to resurrect Mikkos, and he says sometimes we’re drawn to what hurts us the most.

Kim says Jason’s personal life is none of her business, but Oscar is. Oscar needs Drew, and she wonders if part of why he wants the procedure is because of the of the break up. She can’t imagine what it’s like; which feelings are his or Jason’s. Jason wants nothing to do with it, but Kim asks if he can’t just try and tell him not to take the risk. He says it’s not his choice to make. Kim asks what he’d do in Drew’s place, and Jason says if the only way to be free is to risk everything, it would be worth it. He’d rather die than have someone else controlling him. Maybe Drew feels the same way.

Peter hears someone, and thinks it’s Drew, but it’s Sam. She bets he wasn’t expecting to see her. The only reason he’s alive is that he saved Jason’s life, and could have the answer to rebuild Drew’s. For that, and that alone, she’s grateful. He asks, how grateful?

Drew remembers talking to Jason at the gym, and saying when he looks in the mirror, all he sees is Jason. He doesn’t remember before 2013, but feels like he was there, and doesn’t want Jason’s baggage. He calls Andre, and says he knows what he wants to do.

Nina shows Obrecht the baby, and she marvels at his tininess. o the baby she marvels Deanna asks if Nina is checking on James again, and Nina says he’s quite the looker. Obrecht is thrilled that the baby is named James. She can’t conceive of a finer name.

Alexis tells Valentin that she can do research herself. He says, then he’ll take his leave, but asks her to consider his offer. She says she does excellent research on her own, and he says assuming she knows where to look. She blocked the memory of her mother’s murder. How much of her life is a mystery to her? She tells him to get his portfolio. She needs a full accounting of his assets.

Kiki tells Elizabeth she can’t confront David, but Elizabeth says they’ll take it to administration. Kiki says it will be her word against his, and she’ll be labeled a troublemaker. Elizabeth says that’s what he wants her to think. He’s hoping that her being scared keeps her silent, but he’ll hopefully roll over as soon as he’s called out. Kiki says maybe she misinterpreted him, but Elizabeth says he’s harassing her; there’s no other way to read it. He offered her his hotel room key. Elizabeth had a similar experience as a teen – not the rape – but she felt powerless, thinking the behavior was her fault. No one has the right to make her feel like that, and there’s no way to make it better except speaking up.

Kim asks if Jason thinks Drew is making the right choice, but he says it doesn’t matter. Kim says it does. The more she talks to him, the less he reminds her of Drew. If he’s patient, maybe Drew’s memories will come back on their own. Jason suggests she tell him that. She says if Jason is willing to die to be free, what would convince him otherwise? He says the people he loves. If Sam asked him not to; Sonny or Carly. Carly would tell him he couldn’t do it, because she needs him, and it wouldn’t be fair to risk leaving his kids. She’d tell him it sucks, but people live through worse. Kim asks if that would be enough. He says he can hear Carly in a way he can’t hear anyone else. Maybe Drew can hear her the same way. She says, maybe, and thanks him, saying he’s been a lot of help.

Peter tells Sam to listen carefully; there’s not much time. She says grateful isn’t the same as owing. He kept Drew’s life from him; he kept Jason away for five years. He asks, what about Scout? She’ll wonder why her father doesn’t smile or speak while he’s lying in the hospital. If Andre removes Jason’s memories, he has nothing to replace them with. He says to tell him not to risk it. He needs the flash drive.

Curtis sees Nina, and asks if she knows any nephews who need a teddy bear, and hands her one. He sees she’s teary, and asks if it’s about the baby. She says they’re good tears, and he asks what he’s missing. She says her husband turned out to be everything everyone warned her about; she’s divorcing him. He gives her a hanky. Is he related to Nathan too?

Julian understands Lucas is nervous, but there’s no reason to get worked up. Lucas says state law says the mother has thirty days to revoke the adoption. Julian is puzzled, asking how they’re expected to hold their breath, and not truly call the baby their own. Lucas doesn’t like it, but he gets it; it’s the law. It’s a semi-open adoption; she gets to know them, but they don’t get to know her. They knew the risk getting into it. They knew it could all fall apart. Julian doesn’t want to see him hurt, but Lucas says it’s not his family, and he’s not doing anything to screw it up.

Alexis looks at Valentin’s portfolio, and says it’s a lot of material. He’s worth a lot of money. He says he’ll pay double if she can get it done as quickly as possible. She says he’s going to have to discuss some things with Nina, but he tells her Nina isn’t in the frame of mind to take calls. She tells him amends are made through actions. She hopes he’s not doing this just to get on Nina’s good side.

Kiki asks Elizabeth if she thinks she should report David. Elizabeth says it’s not about her, but whatever Kiki decides, she’ll support her. Kiki says, even if she decides to be a coward? Elizabeth says what David is doing is wrong. She has every right to report him. She doesn’t need to, but by staying quiet, he’ll be emboldened to continue. Maybe not with her, but the next vulnerable person. Kiki says it will be her fault, but Elizabeth says, no. He’s responsible for his behavior; not her. She doesn’t want Kiki to carry regret. She’s not powerless. If she can find the strength to stand up to him, she can stop him. Kiki asks, what if no one believes her, and Elizabeth says, she does, and she’ll be by her side every step of the way. Kiki says, okay; let’s go.

Alexis looks at Mikkos’s picture. Julian calls, but she doesn’t answer.

Obrecht tells the baby it’s her, is oma. She says how beautiful he is, like his father. She gets teary, and says she’s so sorry she wasn’t there when he was born, but she’s there now, and will never be far again. As long as she’s in the world, he has nothing and no one to fear. She promises. She will make sure of it.

Valentin comes to Peter’s cell. Peter says, if it isn’t his old friend.

Drew sees Kim outside Kelly’s. She says she was thinking about their conversation earlier. He says, him too. He’d like to talk some more as soon as it’s all over. He just got off the phone with Andre, and they’re going ahead. The next time she sees him, he’ll be himself, and not anyone else. He leaves before she can say anything else.

On the phone, Jason tells Spinelli that Nelle had to buy the scarf somewhere. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Sam. She needs his help.

Tomorrow, Kiki files a complaint against David, Andre asks if Drew wants to reconsider, Sam wants Jason to help break Peter out, and Obrecht confronts Anna.

The Real Housewives of New York City

Still at dinner after the mystery party. Carol tells Bethenny she talks a lot. Bethenny says Carole is being whiny. Tinsley thinks their tone is off. Bethenny says they were in different place this summer, and she doesn’t need Carole lecturing her. They keep interrupting each other, and Carole gets up. In her interview, Sonja thinks it’s not getting anywhere. Carole isn’t articulating her point, and Bethenny is hurt. Carole insists Bethenny never told her about Adam refusing the trip to Houston. Bethenny says she called Carole, and said that Adam was an operator, and asked if they could be done with him. Carole says other people told her that Bethenny talked smack about Adam, but she never said anything about inviting him to Houston. In her interview, Carole says Bethenny is blatantly lying. Bethenny says she thought she pushed a button with Adam and went too far, and Carole told her everyone was an operator when it came to business. LuAnn interjects, and Carole says no one wants to hear her. LuAnn says Carole and Adam met in her kitchen, and brings up how he was dating her niece at the time; he is an operator. Ramona says it took him three years to operate, and LuAnn says, however long it takes, and calls him a little boy from the Midwest. Bethenny and Carole talk at the same time, which I hate. Carole whines that Bethenny never congratulated her on the marathon, but she called LuAnn a loser. LuAnn is like, what? Why? Bethenny says she doesn’t know and doesn’t know that she did. LuAnn says, if she’s a loser, the rest of the world is screwed. In her interview, she asks if she looks like a loser. She thinks she’s great. Carole calls Bethenny a phony. She thinks it’s okay to say what she has to say, but then she’s done. Carole asks if she’s playing the victim, and Dorinda yells that they can make it okay. In her interview, Dorinda says it’s not about who’s right or wrong, but that feelings were hurt, and why isn’t the friendship the same?

Carole thinks Bethenny doesn’t care enough about the friendship to come to terms with what was said. In her interview, Ramona says Bethenny only wants to understand her own POV, but she’s hurting inside. Bethenny tells Carole if she didn’t care about the friendship, she wouldn’t be tolerating the conversation; it’s ridiculous. She tells Carole not to act like she’s seven. They both get up. Bethenny feels betrayed. She might have thought LuAnn was a loser, but it was sh*tty of Carole to bring it up. LuAnn says it’s more sh*tty to say it in the first place. Bethenny says LuAnn has said bad things about her. LuAnn gets up and says she doesn’t care what Bethenny thinks, but kind of jokes around. Bethenny says they’ve all said negative things about each other at one time or another, but she didn’t expect that from Carole. In her interview, Carole says Bethenny can never admit she’s less than perfect. Carole tells Ramona that Bethenny wasn’t supportive of her running the marathon, and didn’t even give a donation, but she didn’t even say anything. Bethenny says, so much more came out than she’d intended originally. She says you can’t put toothpaste back in the tube. Now she can’t trust Carole. LuAnn says, no loser here, and tells them, ciao, bella. Then she realizes that’s Italian, and says, au revoir.

Ramona tells Carole that she felt their pain, but neither one of them was making sense. She knows they love each other. Bethenny is within earshot, and says Ramona is on stage because she’s there; that wasn’t what Ramona was saying a second ago. In her interview, Bethenny says Ramona thrives on others being in discord; she revels in it. Ramona says she knows their friendship, and this is upsetting to see. Dorinda brings out a birthday cake for herself, and everyone sings. Dorinda puts her face in the cake. In her interview, she says she had to do something to make them laugh, but didn’t consider the candles were in it. Now she has a new hairline. She does it again, and a third time for LuAnn. All in the name of distraction. She wants to get the party started, and puts her face in the cake again. LuAnn licks her. Someone says, one, two, three, and they all say, you made it nice.

LuAnn says she came for a fun night; let’s get on with the party. Bethenny tries to put on an elf jumpsuit, but Dorinda tries getting into it at the same time. They’re drunk and laughing, and Bethenny says she has a Santa suit. Dorinda says she owns Santa.

Carole tells Dorinda that Bethenny is crazy. She’s seeing through the lens of her own experience, like narcissists do. She never said anything about Adam. Bethenny walks in, and in her interview, Ramona says, forget a knife, you could cut the tension with a spoon. Dorinda says it’s not about her, and they should talk. Carole tells Bethenny that she doesn’t want to fight. They both said their piece. Bethenny doesn’t feel that way. Carole insists she heard about Houston from someone else. Bethenny thinks she must be missing something like a text. She didn’t just say, Adam sucks, out of the blue.

Tinsley says, the night is still young. Bethenny says Carole seems to be more into self-care. Carole is offended at being called selfish, but Bethenny tells her that she didn’t say that. She seems more self-involved, and she was letting Carole do Carole. She’s not mad at her. In her interview, Carole says Bethenny needs a reality check. She didn’t change who she is. LuAnn gives Ramona a lap dance. In her interview, Sonja says she loves the part of the party, where everyone is drunk and dry-humping. I don’t think I’ve been at a party like that since high school. Bethenny tells Carole she was too deep into her charity, with everyone depending on her, and Carole didn’t seem interested; which is fine. She says the conversation got to a ten, and Carole suggests they’ve brought it to a seven, but Bethenny doesn’t want it to be anything. Carole asks if there are more holiday PJs. Bethenny says Dorinda stole the other pair.

The Berkshires in the snow is absolutely gorgeous. LuAnn wakes up, saying, water. Everyone laughs at each other’s hair. LuAnn needs the spa. Bethenny says it’s like a bad lesbian porno flick. Dorinda tells them there’s a coffee station downstairs. In her interview, Dorinda says, strangely, everyone is in great shape. They’re tough bitches. Sonja shows Dorinda the before photos of their room. Bethenny says she’s feeling upset and emotional. It doesn’t matter who’s right. She doesn’t want Carole upset. She just wants to make it nice. Ramona tells Dorinda that they left it cleaner than when they came. Dorinda says she gets a star. She thinks they had success; everything is solid in the house, and maybe Carole and Bethenny got something out.

Contractor Leo arrives at Sonja’s. She doesn’t want to spend money, but has to, to make money. She tells Leo that she had sex on the sink in the staffroom, and it pulled off the wall. She’d like him to reattach it. She did glue the towel holder back though. He’s like, great.

Bethenny tries to start a fire in the apartment fireplace. It’s her version of an NYC holiday party. Tinsley is the first to show up, and Sonja follows. In her interview, Bethenny says Sonja is feeling herself. She’s always beautiful, but looks fresh as a daisy and knows it. Sonja tells Tinsley about wanting to move out, and not having a place yet; she’s allergic to construction. Tinsley says of course she can stay with her. Dorinda says three things happen every year: their trip to the Hamptons, their trip to the Berkshires, and Bethenny’s holiday party. The others trickle in. LuAnn is hosting a blood drive, and thanks Tinsley for her donation. Bethenny says she can’t come, but she’ll be sending something. Carole is the last to arrive, and the food starts happening. In her interview, Carole says she’s not feeling any better about Bethenny, but doesn’t want to escalate it. She also doesn’t want to hear any sh*t.

Bethenny tells everyone they’re playing white elephant, where if you don’t like your gift, you can claim another person’s gift. She says it should be called, screw over your best friend for a better gift. Carole says she’s keeping hers, but Bethenny says it’s not her choice, and passes out Santa hats. Dorinda thinks LuAnn’s gift is something she already gave to Ramona. Someone says there’s a special delivery, and Bethenny freaks out. It’s the nutcracker she’d wanted for Brynn, being carried by Dorinda’s decorator, Michael. He says there was only one in America. Bethenny says he found it, and Dorinda says, she did. In her interview, Dorinda says she isn’t the type to look for a thank you, but a little mention of her name would be nice. Carole can’t help noticing the irony, since Bethenny called out Tinsley for not being grateful to Sonja. Bethenny says Dorinda saved Christmas, so there’s that.

Ramona gets some beauty products, and says something about her own skincare line. Bethenny says she wasn’t expecting an infomercial. In her interview, Ramona thinks it would be nice if Bethenny would be more supportive. LuAnn says she’s going to Palm Beach for the holidays, and Sonja asks if Tom is going there for New Year’s. LuAnn has no idea. In her interview, Sonja says LuAnn has been avoiding Tom, and now she’s going back to the scene of the crime. LuAnn says she’s just going to be there for Christmas. Bethenny thinks he’s moved on, and has a busted-up girlfriend. LuAnn is like, what?Sonja says he doesn’t have a girlfriend, and Ramona says he has a different girlfriend every night, and Bethenny apologizes, saying Carole had said he did. LuAnn says, it’s history, but doesn’t want to talk about it. In her interview, Bethenny admits she was uncool all over the place by mentioning it. In her interview, LuAnn says, Tom should live under a rock. She can’t believe how fast he moved on with parading women around.

After the party, Bethenny, Tinsley, Ramona, and Sonja have a last drink. Bethenny thinks Carole looked sad. Ramona thinks it was just the long weekend, but Bethenny says Carole might be lonely without Adam, and not accessing her feelings.

LuAnn comes into the Red Cross for the blood drive she’s hosting. She’s gotten tight with them, and wanted to help collect blood for the holidays. Because they’ve been in Mexico in the last year, they can’t give blood, and she feels awful about it. Ooh, they have little shepherd’s pies. No orange juice and a cookie for these people. Bethenny sends a representative, who brings cash cards to give to those affected. Sonja asks Carole how she is, telling her the others thought she looked sad. LuAnn asks if she’s sad. Carole is miffed that they were talking about her.

Sonja chats with the donors. LuAnn asks about the nutcracker situation. She’d thought Michael got it. Dorinda says she’s dumbfounded. Carole says it was awkward. In her interview, Dorinda says she was excited about achieving something Bethenny couldn’t. It would have been nice to get a shout out. Carole asks Ramona about the feeling sad comment. Ramona says Bethenny mentioned she looked sad, and thought she was upset and lonely. Carole thinks Bethenny is talking about herself. She has a hard time maintaining and creating friendships. Painting her as sad over a breakup isn’t true. Carole says the only thing she’s sad about, is Bethenny not talking directly to her. Sonja demands a snack. Carole brings up Bethenny jumping on Ramona for her infomercial. Dorinda asks why they allow someone to speak to them like she does? In her interview, Ramona says Bethenny isn’t supporting any of them. They do the see you next year thing. In her interview, Tinsley says she’s glad to let Sonja stay wit her, and return the favor. Constipation is discussed, so I’ll skip that part.

Ramona is walking her dog when Bethenny calls. She says she’s unsettled and upset. She doesn’t have many girlfriends. Ramona interrupts, asking what’s her point? In her interview, Bethenny says Sonja told her there was a lot of whispering and negative talk about her at the Red Cross. She tells Ramona that she wanted to express how hurtful it was. She says Carole is good friend. She thinks there have been difficult moments with Ramona, and she’s done emotional damage. Ramona says she’s in a good place, and not dealing with this negativity. Bethenny says Ramona enjoys her arguing with Carole, and Ramona tells Bethenny not to blame her problem with Carole on her. Bethenny says she doesn’t have a problem with Carole, and Ramona asks why she’s talking about it then. Bethenny says it’s unacceptable to prey on the weak, and she doesn’t support women. Ramona says Bethenny is the one who doesn’t support women. She doesn’t acknowledge anybody for doing anything. And she had the audacity to jump on Ramona because she talked about her skincare line, saying she was doing an infomercial. She tells Bethenny about how upset Dorinda was about not being acknowledged. In her interview, Bethenny says she didn’t know she had to send a wax-sealed proclamation. Ramona says Bethenny’s problem is with herself, not her. She puts others down to make herself look good. She wants no part of it, and hangs up. I hate to say it, but I’m mostly on Ramona’s side with this one.

LuAnn’s realtor friend, Ann, comes over. LuAnn is thrilled with her apartment, a furnished penthouse on the upper west side. Yep. It’s incredible. Rich people’s digs. Ann says it’s the perfect spot for a new life; a new chapter. In her interview, LuAnn says her life is a clean slate, and she’s writing her own story. LuAnn says she’s going to have a good time here. In her interview, she says she’s going to visit her brother in Florida for the holidays. After that, she’s going to a wedding in Chile.

48 hours later. We’re in Florida, and hear sirens. LuAnn is in the back of a police car, saying she’s going to kill someone. She keeps trying to get out of the car, which I have to admit, is funny. It’s the recording of her holiday arrest. We see a news clip of her arraignment. The judge tells her the charges are serious, hire a lawyer, and stop drinking.

To be continued…

Next time, LuAnn isn’t proud, Tinsley can’t believe it, Tinsley tells Sonja her rules are no rules, and Bethenny asks Carole what she wants.

Below Deck Mediterranean

When we last left, Hannah was calling out João for not speaking to her properly. She tells him to sit the eff down, and Adam tells him to STFU. João sits, but calls her a goat.

Back on the boat, everyone has snacks. Hannah says she’s too old to be treated like this. Several of the crew sit on the floor, eating ice cream. João continues to act like a jerk, and Adam tells him to get out of the galley and go to bed. Conrad says he was going to diffuse the situation, but they didn’t need him. João asks what he did, and Adam says he caused a problem with Hannah. João doesn’t remember. Brooke likes having him to talk to, since she just broke up with her boyfriend. He gets in her bed, and tells her how amazing and hot she is. Hannah comes in for a millisecond, and comes back out.

Hannah hopes Kasey is able to pick up her own slack, now that she’s better. In his interview, João explains that he has an alter-ego, Jezabob, who comes out when he drinks to the blackout point. He’s never met him, but people say how he is, and he wouldn’t like him either. Adam tells João that he called Hannah a goat.

The unpredictable weather is acting up. Colin doesn’t think João is very professional, and says he’d better not pull that stuff on deck. Brooke calls her mom. Brooke is the one who outed her dad with his online activities, and they’re there for each other. She cries about her ex, and her mother tells her not to get bogged down by stupid men. A lesson for us all. She tells her mom about João, and how she blushes when he speaks to her. She says last night they admitted they like each other. But will he remember?

João says Hannah thinks it’s all about her. No, she’s probably just ignoring you, so she doesn’t punch you. Colin doesn’t want to mess up, because it makes the whole crew look bad. However, if he looks good, the whole crew looks good. Wow. A lot of weight on his shoulders.

The primary is Jennifer, a friend of Captain Sandy’s, who does vaginal rejuvenation. A topic I will never, ever be able to get away from. The captain says it’s a shorter charter, but there’s bad weather coming, and they’re going to have to stay docked. She does not want to look bad, and tells them to figure it out, and thinks of some creative things. She’s going to be hovering. In her interview, Hannah says when they’re on the water, they can entertain the guests with water toys, but when they’re at the dock, interior has to step up. Captain Sandy suggests taking them out on the tender, so they can pretend to be on the water. Hannah sees the preference sheet says Jennifer wants to work out with a hot Italian trainer.

Brooke asks João if he remembers their conversation, and he says, some of it. He’s lying. She says they both admitted had chemistry, and it’s too hard if he’s flirting all the time. She wants him to stop; she wants to focus on work. He says he’ll try. Kasey asks if she can wash red shirts with underwear. In her interview, Hannah says it’s definitely a problem, which is the last thing she needs, especially when they’re not getting off the dock.

Captain Sandy goes over what the deckhands are supposed to be doing. Jamie hopes Kasey is okay, so she doesn’t have to work the interior. João tells Kasey about his alter ego. Conrad and Hannah go for a smoke, and lie on the dock, getting sun. Hannah asks what he’s doing after, and he wants to buy his first house. In his interview, Conrad says he learned early on from his parents about equity. They flipped houses, did well, and he doesn’t want yachting to be his life. Hannah says she has a nice shoe collection.  Kasey hopes prove herself, and Brooke says there’s no chance of seasickness, since they’ll be on the dock. Kasey hopes to show she can pull her weight. Putting red anything in with underwear is not the way. Adam makes a tart. That’s not a euphemism for anything; he makes a dessert. Hannah calls for the trainer. She’s also set up a pizza making course on shore, and confers with Adam on accompanying dishes.

The captain says Jennifer is her friend, and she wants them to do a great job. She tells Adam to knock it out of the park, because she’s still stuck on baseball references. He says he’s going to make a lot of sweet stuff. Sandy asks if they can launch the tender, but Conrad says no boats are leaving, and they’ll be stuck in the dock. In her interview, Captain Sandy explains they can’t launch the tender, because there are boats on both sides. She asks why he didn’t offload previously, since she told him too. We see a clip, and yes, she did. Captain Sandy is officially pissed. Conrad says not being on top of things sux. The captain thanks Jamie for helping with the interior, and tells her that she’ll be helping this charter woo. Jamie is like, sh*t! The captain says Jennifer will be having a birthday party, and she’s thinking rap style.  Colin is used to performing, but not rap. Hannah tells Kasey about last minute clean-up. Captain Sandy tells them to keep an eye on the cushions. The wind is kicking up.

The guests arrive, and Jennifer is overly friendly. Captain Sandy says she wants it special, even though they can’t leave the dock. Jennifer is clearly disappointed, but the captain says she saw the waves. Jennifer says she sees the sun, and Captain Sandy says the crew will make sure they have blast. Hannah apologizes for the weather, and gives the tour. Jennifer asks if the boat needs a resident GYN. Hannah is thinks that would be cool. Adam says he’s going to go above and beyond the preference sheet. His goal is to keep Sandy happy. Kasey irons. João bothers her. In her interview, Kasey thinks she’s doing great job, because not getting yelled at. João gives her ironing hints. Jamie says it’s Murphy’s Law. She still can’t do deck stuff. Captain Sandy tells the guests they’ll make sure they have fun. I’m wondering why they can’t get off the boat and sit in a tender somewhere else. Brooke is having a problem dealing with João. In her interview, Hanna says he’s pissed her off. Until she gets an apology, she doesn’t have much to say.

The waves get higher. Adam tells João that he has a grass is always greener complex. João talks about blackouts. Jennifer gives Captain Sandy a device called The Womanizer, and tells her that she has homework to do. They goof around, and I don’t want to know. Colin goes over his rap lyrics. In his interview, he says people assume because he went to music school, he can spin hot fire. Obviously, they’re right. João suggests they have one person up all the time for security reasons. It’s how they did it on other boats he’s worked on. Conrad isn’t really concerned about that.

The group goes on the pizza making expedition. Adam says they didn’t take salads. He did all that work for nothing. Hannah informs us that the margarita pizza was invented in Naples. My first “real” job was being a short order cook in an Italian restaurant, and I made pizzas. I never did get the hang of spinning the dough in the air like these guys are doing. Everyone goes, oooh, every time it lands. Hannah suddenly remembers the salads, and goes out in the rain with Conrad, only to find the salads aren’t in the car. She’s not happy.

The captain tells Kasey the floor is a mess. Kasey swears she did them. Captain Sandy tells Kasey to come with her (you know that’s bad when a superior says, come with me). In her interview, the captain thinks if they can’t grasp basic duties, their leader should be showing them.

Hannah orders some sides off the menu. She feels like she’s running in circles, trying to keep everyone happy and entertained. The food looks fantastic. João tells Hannah that he’s sorry; when under stress, they have to work together. She says there’s no point in rehashing it; they’re cool. In her interview, she says she’s letting bygones be bygones, but hopes it’s not a pattern.

Adam makes a bunch of amazing desserts. The guests bring back take out from the pizza place. Conrad is annoyed that João has been trying to undermine him, since he’s been yapping to everyone else about how they should have someone on watch 24/7. In her interview, Jamie says João should know his place. They have a hierarchy for a reason. The Italian beefcake comes, and Hannah says she should have asked for picture. This is not what she ordered. He looks like Harvey Keitel. Colin rehearses his rap. João bugs Conrad about the security thing again, insisting it’s standard procedure. Conrad says he’s been in yachting three years, and João is inexperienced.

Jennifer doesn’t seem to mind the bodybuilder’s looks. Yep, she thinks he’s cute. Colin asks if he can use Kasey’s talents for his performance. Jennifer tells the trainer to let her know if her nipple pops out. Really? You exercise in something that makes you concerned about that? Adam says it’s going to be like King Arthur’s Italian Palace tonight. The guests get ready for Jennifer’s birthday. Jennifer begs Captain Sandy to let her wear her shoes for dinner. The captain talks to Hannah about her cabin not being clean. Kasey tells Hannah that she forgot. In her interview, Hannah says they’ve been covering Kasey’s ass while she was sick. Now it’s time to work. The décor is on the cute side of pretty, with lots of balloons, pink being the predominant shade. João flirts with Brooke. Adam repurposes the salads. Captain Sandy eats with the guests. Hannah thanks the Lord for Brooke, and the food just keeps on coming. Adam presents the lasagna, and explains the entrees, getting applause for his efforts. The guests are especially loving the truffle white sauce. Conrad talks to Hannah, saying no one stays up all night on a yacht, and Hanna asks when João is going to stop going over his head.

Hannah is frustrated with Kasey, and in her interview, says you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t drown them. Colin practices his birthday rap. Adam says his desert spread would rival Willy Wonka’s factory. The cake is presented, the Happy Birthday topper twinkling with small lights. The crew starts to sing, and Colin interrupts, saying they’re not doing that boring birthday song. He asks Kasey for some beats. He raps, and Kasey says, the dude has flow. The guests applaud. Hannah says the cabins better be on point tonight.

Conrad talks to João on the deck. He understands the safety concern, but when he says something, he doesn’t want it questioned. João says he’s going to question the security of the boat. Conrad says the questioning isn’t the problem, it’s what he said to the other two deckhands. Conrad tells him to never undermine what he’s said in front of the others. João says, It’s not a matter of questioning authority, but he needs to understand why. They shake hands, but I don’t think João gets it. The guests go to bed.

Conrad helps Hannah get all the dents and crap from Jennifer’s shoes out of the carpet. Hannah can’t believe Conrad chose to crawl around in the main salon with her instead of going to bed.

The next morning, Adam makes custom breakfasts. Brooke is doing the service by herself, and doesn’t feel there’s an equal balance. IMO, there are far too many Cokes ordered at breakfast. Adam says everyone expects him to cook all this random sh*t in a matter of minutes; people assume he can just whip it all up. Brooke wants a rocket up Kasey’s ass. Conrad says everything is a pissing contest with João. He can’t believe João has survived in yachting this long. Captain Sandy keeps ordering more food, and gets pissed when the toast doesn’t come fast enough. She says they’re on a super yacht, and thinks Hannah needs to tighten up the interior. Hannah has to do charter three preference sheets, but the captain thinks she should help the others. It’s not fair to the rest of the crew to do preference sheets while there are still guests on board. She tells Hannah that breakfast service sucked. Hannah says she was up until four a.m., and has blisters from the spoon she was using on the carpet. Captain Sandy says she’s the face of the interior. Hannah promises she’s trying her best, and leaves in tears. She tries to block the camera with her hand.

I gotta say it. I love Captain Sandy, but as a whole, I like the Captain Lee group on the original show better. Kudos to the Captain Sandy’s friends for being the nicest, easiest going charter guests ever, but so far, the obnoxious guests have been the most interesting thing this season.

Next time. Jamie cries, Hannah and Conrad crush on each other, João confronts Conrad, and Captain Sandy says it’s the worst service she’s ever seen on charter.

💰 On Sell it Like Serhant, Ryan’s task was to help Lisa, a commercial real estate broker. He said since real estate is his area of expertise, you’d think it would be easy, but the difference between selling commercial and regular real estate is like apples and steak. She was the only woman in an all-male office, and Ryan agreed that real estate as a whole was a boys’ club. Raising three kids alone, Lisa had left the corporate world, believing real estate had more growth potential, and also flexible hours. She couldn’t pay her mortgage, her boss was on the verge of firing her, and she had no Plan B. And I don’t mean birth control. Ryan said commission-based jobs can be scary, which is why I’ve never wanted one. Even more than her not being aggressive enough, was her use of um… when talking to clients. I almost couldn’t take it. Judge Judy would have gone out of her mind. Ryan taught her to shake her bad habits, brag about her experience in her previous field (she hadn’t closed on one listing yet), and focus on the best use of the building, so the client could envision the marketing angle. While Lisa thought she should downplay her mom role in life, Ryan told her to play it up. He had Lisa do a photo shoot, where he told her to work it mom boss style, and she did. She also got a makeover, and Ryan told a story about having absolutely no wardrobe when he started, and how his father bought him his first pair of good shoes. He still has them.

The moment was tense when Lisa began her make-or-break pitch. Ryan and her boss stayed out of sight, but watched by phone. The client liked what she had to say, she made great recommendations for the use of the space, and only used um… once. The client’s main concern was her lack of experience, and her saying she would be able to concentrate fully on the listing didn’t help. She told him that he wouldn’t just be hiring her, but her whole team, and talked about how they work together. He wanted to give her a 60-day trial period, where if it wasn’t sold in that time, he could move on. Both Ryan and her boss thought she should agree, but she didn’t. And she wouldn’t budge. She told him that she didn’t want to get to a point in a sale, only to hand it to someone else. To all of our amazement, he agreed to list the space with her. Ryan got so excited, he ran out to congratulate her, almost giving both her and the client a heart attack. He said she was a new Lisa, and she went from zero to hundreds of followers on her social media. I can imagine how many more she got after the show. Next time, a struggling body lotion salesgirl. While watching the preview, it occurred to me that Ryan is like Gordon Ramsay. He has to wear many hats, including therapist and stylist. Apparently, Brandi Glanville has tweeted that this is the only show that can make her cry, and she hadn’t even liked Ryan.

🍹 Southern Charm New Orleans will be wrapping it up this Sunday. I’ve decided the difference between Charleston and NOLA is like that between New Hope, PA and NYC. Both great cities, but with a totally different vibe. Speaking of NYC, Million Dollar Listing New York premieres the new season on June 4th at 10 pm.

🚁 Until Next Time (Pick One)…

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

The court is ready to convene, and Diane asks Carly if she’s clear on what she’s saying. Carly says she’s clear on what Diane wants her to say, but she didn’t push Nelle and she’s not crazy. Sonny tells her that they think it’s the best option. Diane doesn’t want to continue discussing it front of DA Dawson, who has just walked in. Diane tells the DA that she didn’t appreciate the delay, but the DA says the police needed time to investigate, and she wouldn’t want them to rush to judgment. Judge Horowitz walks to the bench.

At the hospital, Alexis tells Doc she needs a consultation. He asks if it’s about a case she’s working on, but she says it’s personal, and he’d be working with her.

Kiki looks at her text to Griff. David tells her that he needs to speak to her in his office alone. She hesitates, and he says, as in now.

Drew sees Andre, who tells him the WSB has allowed him to consult in a few cases. He also got his notes back. Drew asks how soon they can start.

Peter (which is the name we’re going with – Anna wants it that way) tells Robert to cancel the extradition. He’s not spending one night in Steinmaur. He has something valuable to trade; something the Bureau desperately wants. He sees that Robert is now interested.

Anna goes to Finn’s hotel room. She tells him a lot was left unsaid. He says there’s no time like the present.

The judge says the charges are two counts of attempted murder, and asks how Carly pleads. Carly mumbles, not guilty by reason of insanity. He asks Diane if her client clearly understands, and asks again how she pleads. Carly repeats her plea a little louder and more clearly.

Elizabeth and Franco talk about setting a date. Elizabeth is thinking August, but Franco wonders if it can’t be sooner. She has another way that can make it much sooner, and asks what about eloping? He tells her that he figured her for the church wedding type, and it is the last time for either one of them. She says all she needs are him and the boys. He says that’s all he needs too. He always knew his side of the church would be sparse, but thought hers would be fuller. He thinks it’s time for him to meet her family; doesn’t she?

Kiki goes to David’s office. He tells her that their time together is wrapping, and she says, time flies. He says she’ll be rotating with other doctor for the next several weeks. He’s bummed to lose her, and she says she’ll miss working with him too. She appreciates the opportunity, and it’s an experience she’ll remember for the rest of her career. He tells her it’s not necessarily goodbye; they might have the opportunity to work together again. It depends on her evaluations; they can make or break her career. He asks if she wants to read the first draft, and she asks if she’s allowed to? He says it depends on how badly she wants to know what it says, and puts it on the desk. She picks it up.

Andre tells Drew that he never agreed to do anything except gather his notes. Drew asks what’s holding him back. Andre says he has no results to compare. He has no clue about side effects or complications; it’s uncharted territory. Drew said Andre warned him already, and he’s accepted it. Andre asks if he’s thought it through. If he’s successful, erasing Jason’s memories will have a profound affect on his relationships with almost everyone in his life.

Doc asks Alexis how he can help her. She wants him to find out why she does what she does, and he says that’s a little vague. She says she wants to know why she keeps being drawn to men who are bad for her.

Anna tells Finn that Robert is extraditing Peter. She refused to cooperate, but if half of what she suspects is true, he should be in Steinmaur. She’s not going to help get him there though. She tried to explain her side to Peter, but he hates her. She says he has every right to. She doesn’t know what she’s doing there, dumping it on him, but Finn says she’s exactly where she should be, and he’s exactly who she should be with.

Judge Horowitz asks if Diane is prepared to speak, and she is her. She tells the judge that her client has been under severe mental and psychological duress for the last year and a half. Her son was brutally murdered, and her father-in-law has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Both things have weighed heavily on her mental health. She wasn’t in her right mind when Nelle fell down the stairs. The DA says, pushed, but the judge says it’s not an open forum. Diane says Carly needs to go home to begin to heal from the trauma. It’s DA Dawson’s turn, and she says the people request no bond until the trial. Diane says she explained there are extenuating circumstance, but the DA says Carly’s husband is wealthy enough to own his own plane. They have every reason to believe he could arrange for her to leave the country, and it’s definitely within his means to forfeit the bond. Diane says they can’t condemn her because her husband owns a plane. Carly has deep ties to the community. Her relatives and business are there; she’s not going anywhere. The DA says, assuming she’s not well, as Diane claims, it would be irresponsible to release her. Nelle has been the victim of harassment and threats, and Carly allegedly tried to kill her. Nelle is pregnant, and she and her child’s safety is at risk. Carly should remain in custody.

David asks Kiki if something is wrong. She says she thought he was happy with her work. She reads from the evaluation, saying it says she focuses too much on her social life, is easily distracted, and frequently late. She says, it was one time. He points out that it also says she’s sensitive to criticism. She says this could end her career before it starts, and he tells her there’s still time for revisions – if he likes what he sees from her. She asks how she can improve, and he says he has an idea. He puts a MetroCourt key card on the desk.

Elizabeth says Franco already knows her family. He asks what about her parents? Maybe they should talk about why she doesn’t want to talk about them. Elizabeth says there’s no point in inviting them; they’re too busy. She says they’ve never been close. That’s just the way it is. She tells him that she has to go back to work, and they’ll talk later.

Peter tells Robert once he hears what Peter has to offer, the charges will be dropped. Robert says, no way. He tried to kill Anna. There will be nothing more satisfying than putting him away for life.

Drew says Andre has the notes, and knows how to perform the procedure. His memories since coming to Port Charles are his. Andre tells him that his memories could lose impact. They’ve been texturized and influenced by the imprint of Jason’s identity. His every reality would be impacted. Drew says he wants his memories to be based on something real, not something that never happened to him. Franco listens from around the corner.

Finn asks Anna, why involve Jason? He thought they made a good team, and has a medal to prove it. Anna says with her along, there was less of a chance that Jason would kill Peter on sight. She decides to call him by the name he gave himself, rather than the one Faison gave him. She says she knew Jason could find Peter, and she had to stop him. If she could tell anyone, she could stand for it to be Jason. She cares what he thinks about her, but not the same way as she cares what Finn thinks. It’s why she pushed him away. She’d been having dreams about him dying. She still thinks it’s too dangerous a life for him, but he’s still here. He tells her to shut up, and kisses her.

Finn tells Anna her life isn’t too dangerous, and it’s worth the risk. We all have to go sometime, and he wants to make the most of the time he has left. He tells her not to push him away for his own good again. She says she doesn’t know what will happen with her son. There’s a good chance she  can’t save him from the WSB, but she’s going to try. She also has to figure out a way to tell Robin. She’s made kind of a mess. Finn says she doesn’t have to clean it up alone, and she thanks him. He says he has a mess of his own to clean up. He asks if he can come by later, and she says she’d like that. On her way out, he grabs her for more kisses.

Doc tells Alexis to start anywhere. She says she’ll just start with the most recent thing, and work her way backward. She tells Doc that Finn is a nice guy, but completely unavailable. She knew it, and walked into it.  Then there are the interminable violent men, obsessed with criminal life that she’s allowed into her life – Julian, Ric, and Sonny. On top of it, she thought why doesn’t she have baby with each of them? What a great idea. Doc laughs. She says there are so many of them. Jerry Jax was witty, charming, and completely amoral, but no one was more fun – until he tried to slit her throat. No, wait, that was Julian. She did have one nice one. She and Ned Quartermaine almost made it down the aisle, but she freaked out, and ran screaming out of her own wedding. If the guy is nice, she’s not interested, but having to seesaw between terror and rage is like catnip. She thrives on control, but gravitates to men who make her feel completely out of control. Her life is in shambles, and she needs him to fix it. Doc tells her if she’s serious, she needs regular sessions. She says she’d rather come in when she feels like it. He says she can’t do that, but he has an opening tomorrow. He tells her she took a big step and should be proud. She sarcastically says she’s elated.

Kiki asks, what’s this, like she doesn’t know. David tells her the earthquake did a number on his house. She says, sorry, and he says the reconstruction is almost finished, plus he has a thing for hotels. She asks what that has to do with her evaluation. He tells her that if she’s concerned about her evaluation, take the key and be waiting in his room – if she wants to prove she deserves a better evaluation. He takes the card, and slides it down her. Yuk.

Diane says Carly is no danger to anyone. Nelle is carrying Carly’s grandchild. The DA says that didn’t stop Carly from shoving her. The judge says if there’s another interruption, the DA will be cited. Diane says if it will reassure the court, they’re open to the possibility of house arrest. The judge appreciates the spirit of compromise, but has already come to a decision.

Carly is to be remanded to Pentonville to await trial. Sonny tells Diane to do something. Diane says house arrest address the court’s concerns. There’s no reason for incarceration. The judge says by entering the insanity plea, Carly is admitting to pushing a pregnant woman down the stairs. That remains to be determined, but if there was malice aforethought, it’s best to err on the side of caution. His decision stands. Carly gets up and asks, what if she changes her plea?

Peter tells Robert that pride is blinding him. He can’t see where the advantage lies. Robert says he has a simple goal. Putting him in prison, where he can’t hurt his mother. Peter wants a phone call, but Robert says its Bureau jurisdiction; they don’t give calls. Peter says he’d hate to have to tell his mother how Robert trampled over his rights. Robert tells the desk sergeant to get a phone. He says after Peter is done with his call, to put him back in his cell, and keep Peter out of his sight.

Drew asks Andre If he accepts the risk, emotionally, psychologically, and physically, will Andre agree to handle the procedure. They shake hands, and Andre says he’ll be in touch. Drew says he’ll be waiting. Franco comes out, and asks if Drew is sure he wants to let Andre play with his head after what he’s been put through. Drew asks why he cares, and Franco says for starters, Drew saved his life. Given his limited skill set, he wants to return the favor. He thinks it’s something he might live to regret. Drew gets a phone call.

Andre sees Anna, and says he heard what happened. She says the good news is, she found her son, and kept him safe. The bad news is, he’s going to prison. Andre says she doesn’t have to carry the secret anymore. Anna says she still has to tell Robin. He asks if she’s told anyone else she cares about.

Finn sits at an AA meeting, and Alexis walks in. Finn volunteers to start. He says most of them know he started using drugs to treat his illness, and kept using after he was cured. He distanced himself from people; ignoring the feelings of rejection and loneliness. He wishes he could say he was fully recovered, but that would be a lie. He took his addiction and replaced it as a way to mask the pain. He cared about someone, and it ended badly. Instead of dealing with the loss and the loneliness, he went for a quick fix. He started a new relationship. The person was clear they weren’t willing to invest in it if he was on the rebound, but he convinced her that wasn’t the case. Of course, she was right. He was nowhere near ready. He was dependent on her friendship, and careless with her heart. Something he didn’t realize until now, was that he can be sober and still hurt the people he cares about the most. He’s sorry, and wants to make amends. Maybe someday he can earn her trust again.

Anna tells Andre that Finn knows everything. He came to the pier. He didn’t judge She was stupid, wasting time, when she knew he’d be in her corner. She would have done same for him. Andre asks where that leaves them, and she says they have a mutual understanding. She has to see Peter, and Andre says Peter is lucky to have her on his side. She says she owes him that much. No one else understands like she does.

Doc sees Franco, and says he hasn’t dropped by in a while. Franco says he’s been busy, and Doc says they were right in the middle of unlocking a painful memory. Franco says he distinctly remembers everything; there’s not much to unlock. He’s reached out to the other victims, to help them get closure. Doc asks what about his?

Elizabeth talks to Kiki, who’s very distracted. Elizabeth asks if she’s okay. She mumbles something, sees David, and jets. Elizabeth is like, hmm…

Drew goes to Peter’s cell. He asks what Peter could possibly have to say to him, and calls him Henrik.

Diane tells Carly changing her plea doesn’t give her s better bail opportunity. The DA wants to convict her for attempted murder. Pleading insanity is their only chance. Carly asks what difference it makes, and Diane says several weeks versus twenty-five years. The judge asks if they’re finished conferring, and if Carly wishes to change her plea. Carly looks at Sonny. She says, no. Her plea remains the same. The judge asks for transport to Pentonville to be arranged.

Carly wants Sonny to tell Josslyn and Michael that she loves them, and make up something to tell Avery, who is too young to understand. She says Josslyn needs to know that people are going to say things to make her angry, and tell Jason to hurry up. Sonny says he’ll fix it. Carly says, fix it, and she’s taken away in handcuffs. DA Dawson tells Diane that her client is a formidable woman, and she doesn’t look crazy. Diane tells Sonny to trust her. This is still their best option. Sonny says she’d better be right. I say, or what? and tell Sonny to back off Diane.

Franco tells Doc that he’s spent too much time on the past; he’s concentrating on the future. Doc says he can do both. He owes it to himself and the people around him, especially Elizabeth and the boys. Franco says he’s using the magic words, and Doc says he’ll see him this week. Franco agrees, but in the meantime, he has a wedding to plan. Doc leaves, and Franco searches for Jeff Webber on Spyder Finder.

Elizabeth finds Kiki crying in a supply room, and asks what’s going on. Kiki says, nothing, but Elizabeth says it’s something. Why did she turn away when she saw David? Is it about her evaluation? Elizabeth says he’s notorious for being tough. Kiki says it’s not about that. Well, sort of, in a way. She shouldn’t have let it get this far, but she didn’t know what to do. She didn’t want to be difficult this early in the program. She tells Elisabeth that David showed her the evaluation, and he trashed her end career before starts e nothing but diligent offered to make it more favorable if have sex with him

Alexis tells Finn that was some speech. He says he only said the truth. Her friendship means the world to him, and he did an awful job of respecting it and her. She tells him to stick around. The meeting wouldn’t be the same without him.

Anna tells Robert that she wants to accompany Peter to Steinmaur. She’s surprised he’s not arguing, and Robert says no transfer has been set up yet. Peter is talking to someone.

Drew tells Peter that most people use the phone for a lawyer, not a former employer. Peter asks if he’s fired, and Drew says, very. Peter is sorry to lose his spot in the aurora family, and wants to make sure it doesn’t happen. Drew doesn’t like his brother or his memories, and wants his own back. It’s a simple transaction. If Drew helps him, he can give him the means to remember his whole life as Drew Caine.

Tomorrow, Lucas tells Brad it’s far from done, Obrecht finds out about Peter/Henrik, and Kim asks Jason to hear her out.

The Haves and The Have Nots

Wyatt looks at the dealer on the floor. He wipes his hands, and gets the security tape out of the machine. He wipes down everything he’s touched. He takes something from the dealer’s pocket. Jim shows up, and says he’s not leaving until – then he sees the body.

Jim asks if Wyatt did that, and Wyatt says the dealer was beating him; what was he supposed to do? Jim asks what he was doing in a place like this, and starts wiping things down. Wyatt says he already did that. Jim asks what about the security camera, and Wyatt says he got the tape, and thinks it’s the only one. Jim tells Wyatt to shut up and let him think. He starts messing things up to make it look like a robbery. Wyatt wipes the bottles that Jim stupidly touched while staging. Jim checks the dealer’s ID, and tells Wyatt, this is a Malone. Doesn’t that mean anything to him? Wyatt doesn’t know what Jim is talking about, and Jim says, It damn sure will. They jet.

At the Artisian, a dude orders beer from the new bartender (whose name I still haven’t caught – I think it’s RK or RJ, but I’m not positive). He says he’s in town for the week. The bartender says it must be nice to get away from the wife and kids, noting that he’s wearing a ring. Dude says he’s perceptive, and the bartender says, so is he; he’s a cop. Dude wishes, and asks if there’s anything exciting going on there, like some ladies. The bartender says he wouldn’t know about that, and dude says he wants to get laid, and he’s the guy to see. The bartender says dude isn’t his type, and dude says he’s a smart one. The bartender goes back to the bar, where Gia asks for a wine. Candace sits down, says she needs a shot. She asks Gia for the money. Gia reminds Candace that she said Gia could keep it, but she wants the money. The bartender tells her that they’ve got company. Dude is Vice, and maybe she shouldn’t be asking for the money. She tells him to shut up, and tells Gia she needs to get to work. The bartender repeats that dude is Vice, and Candace says she’s got it. She points out another guy, saying he’s not into women, and could be a big score. He says first, she didn’t want to keep Gia’s money, now she’s a boss-ass bitch. She says he’ll do what she wants him too. He says if she needs the money, fine, but he wants a bigger cut. She says he’ll have it.

Candace keeps Vice dude busy. She asks if she can buy him a drink, but he says he’s pacing himself. She puts his hand on her thigh, and asks how can he insult her? She came over for a drink, and he touches her. She lowers her voice, and tells him to listen to her. She knows he’s Vice. She tells him get the hell out and don’t come back. He gets the hell out. The bartender talks football to the other guy, saying he played in high school. They make plans to meet in the guy’s room when the bartender gets off work. Gia tells him that he’s a fool if he thinks Candace is giving him a bigger cut. He asks Gia why they should let Candace do this, when they can handle it. Gia tells him to do what he’s gotta do.

Victoria gets a call from Morgan. She says she’s okay, but it was no accident she was in. Someone deliberately ran her off the road. She asks if he can do some poking around. She tells him that she has David’s address, but didn’t know about the condo. She asks him to text the address to her. She says neither her son or his fiancé know she’s tracking them, and he should text their whereabouts at all times.

Mitch asks why Benny is sneaking into his own house, and he says, she’s still here, meaning Melissa. Mitch asks if he’s going to kick her out. Benny says he doesn’t know, and don’t give him a hard time. Benny’s phone rings, and he tells the caller he can’t take the truck; he’s sorry. Mitch is like, what?! When Benny is finished talking, Mitch asks what’s going on. Benny tells him he was thinking, and thinks Mitch was right about not taking the money. Mitch says he already took it, and Benny says he’ll give it back. Mitch says, it don’t work like that. He took it; he has to pay it back with interest – 25%. Benny says it was just a day; he can’t be serious. Mitch says he is, and no way is it his problem. Benny doesn’t listen; he told him before he decided to take it. Benny asks why Mitch doesn’t talk to his uncle, and Mitch says he told him not to get into this, and not to deal with his family. He can’t help Benny out with this; he should have bought the truck. He can’t give it back unless he has another twelve and a half thousand; it won’t go well. Benny asks Mitch to go with him, but that’s a no. Benny calls Mitch a lousy-ass friend, and tells him to get out.

David unpacks. Erica says it’s nice stuff, and he wishes she could have helped pick it out. She says he did a good job. One of the workers tells David that his wife doesn’t like the couch, so they’ll take it back. David says he and Erica aren’t married, and the guy says, not her. He’s talking about the lady in the other room. Veronica walks over, saying it’s tacky sh*t, and tells Erica to find her hole and crawl back in.  She needs to talk to David. David tells her to talk to his lawyer. He tells Erica to go in the other room, and calls her baby. Veronica says he just met the bitch, and he’s calling her baby. Erica says she’ll be in their bedroom, and kisses him before going upstairs. Veronica tells her not to trip, break her arm, and die. David asks what the hell she wants, and she says she wants to make his life hard. He tells her to get out, but she says they need to talk about Jeffrey. David says they have nothing to talk about; he’s had it with her. He told her not to come back. She gets louder and says, don’t touch me, then goads him to touch her. David says he’s not doing this, and she’s violating the restraining order. She tells him that Jeffrey is going to stay in jail unless he gives up Benny. David wonders what Benny did to her; drop her? Why is she suddenly determined to have him arrested? He’s not helping her bury Benny because she’s pissed. She says she’ll bury his ass too, and he tells her to get her ass out of there.

Veronica tells him to make her. He touches her wrist, and she screams. Erica comes downstairs, saying she called the police. Veronica asks if she looks like someone who’s afraid of the police. Veronica walks around a long, glass dining table, saying, sh*t is ugly. He knows nothing about décor. David says she doesn’t have to live with it, and she smashes a vase through the table. She continues to walk around picking up decorative items and smashing more of the table with them. She says he’d rather get a ho to help him, and laughs. She smashes at the table some more, saying, whack a dumb ho. When she’s finished, and there’s no more table left, she tells them to have a wonderful day and enjoy one another, and goes out the door. Erica asks if David is okay. He says he should be asking her that. She thinks she should go, but he says it’s not going to change anything. Veronica won’t stop harassing him. He asks her not to leave, saying he’s sorry. He knows she has her own insane situation to deal with, and now she’s involved with this. She says she didn’t like the table anyway… or the sofa, the lamp, and the rugs. He needs some help. She says Veronica did have some taste. That was good.

Hanna introduces Derek to Melissa, saying Melissa is her houseguest. Hanna says she’s going to start dinner, but Melissa just wants to lie down. Hanna asks where Benny is, and Melissa says upstairs. She leaves to go to her room, and Hanna tells Derek that she has to watch her. She asks if he knows that saying, that baby is a little touched; then says, don’t ask; she’s sweet. She thanks him for the flowers, and he kisses her. He wants to take her to dinner, and she asks what he wants. Just to sleep with her? It’s not happening. She told him that she’s a Christian woman. He asks what kind of man he’d be not to try. He loves everything about her; he’s just being honest. She says it’s not romantic, and he says he’s not trying to be. He undoes her apron, and she says it’s been years since she’s been in this kind of situation, having someone after her. She’s had a few dates, but not like him. He says when he sees something he wants, he goes after it. She says she’s not something, and he says she’s a beautiful, single, Christian woman, and he’s a single Christian man; why not? She says it’s nice, but fast. He doesn’t want a twenty-year-old. He might not always say the right things, but he’s trying to. He’s in the third quarter of life, and wants to do things differently. He made mistakes as kid. She says, didn’t we all? He tells her she’s the only thing that’s been on his mind. She tells him no sex until she’s married, and he suggests they go to the jewelry store. She asks if he would marry someone after one week, and he says, no, but would marry her. She accuses him of just trying to get in her pants. They flirt, and she calls him nasty, and he kisses her. Benny walks in, and says, momma, damn. He asks what Derek is doing there, calling him a clown. Hanna tells him to go upstairs and deal with his situation. She asks Derek if he wants a drink.

Charles calls Landon, asking if he’s spoken to Candace. Landon says, not yet, but expects her to be hostile. He’s outside her door now. Charles tells him to call after he leaves her room. He knocks on Candace’s door. She asks what he wants, and he says he’s not talking in the hallway. She asks if the money was received, and Landon says it was. He asks why she’s so angry. Charles wants to see her. Whatever she did for the money caused her harm. He’s trying to help her. She says she doesn’t need it, and Landon asks if her anger is about her son. She tells him not to talk to her about her son. He thinks should talk to someone, and she says, goodbye. He calls Charles from the hallway, saying he just talked to her. Charles asks how she is. He asks if there was sadness in her eyes, and Landon says, yes. Charles needs to be tough on her, and wants to see her. He wonders if she asked about him, and Landon says she was already angry; he’s sorry. Charles says there’s no need; she just needs time. They might have to play hardball. He may have to pay her a visit in person. Landon says it’s a long press tour, but Charles says he can make time. Landon says, if that’s what he’d like. Charles says, yes, and thanks him. Landon says, he’s worth it. He hangs up, and says, dammit.

Candace looks at her Cryer Company bank account. She calls Benny, saying she needs a favor. He asks if she’s still at the hotel, and tells her to stop doing what she’s doing. She needs to see him, and he says he’s at their mom’s house. She asks if they can talk outside, but he says if she wants to come there, she has to come in the house; it’s the only way. He tells her he’ll text the address.

Mitch asks if Vinny is around, but he’s not, and Kenny doesn’t know when he’s coming back. Mitch asks Kenny if he’s ever heard of the family taking money back with no interest. Kenny says, never; in all his years, it’s never happened. Mitch says, even if it was short time? Kenny tells him, once money is taken, blood is on the line. Why? Kenny asks if it’s about that Black kid. Mitch calls him ignorant as hell, and says he has a name, Benny. Kenny says, he’s not trying to give money back – is he? Mitch says, he is, without interest; he can’t afford it. Kenny says that’s not going to work. Mitch says he knows. Kenny asks if he wants to start a war. He tells Mitch to do himself a favor, and drop it. Mitch says he’s got it.

Jim brings Wyatt home. Kathryn says he looks strung out. He wants to leave and Jim asks if he wants to get murdered. Wyatt asks if Jim is threatening him, and Jim says, no, but someone sure as hell is. Kathryn wants to know what’s  going on, and Jim tells her that Wyatt killed somebody. She says, not again? Who? Jim says a drug dealer, but not just any drug dealer – a Malone. Wyatt blames Jim for getting rid of his coke in the first place. He explains that he went to the ATM, but his money was gone. Jim enlightens him by telling Wyatt that he took it; it’s gone. He suggests Wyatt chill the hell out; he’s not letting him out of the house. Kathryn says to let him go. Jim tells Wyatt that he took it because Wyatt is dangerous to himself, and can’t see it. They beg him not to leave, but he does. Kathryn tells Jim that he handled it like a pro.

Justin knocks on Jeffrey’s door, and begs to come in. Jeffrey asks how Justin knew he was there, and Justin says he’s a cop. Jeffrey lets him in, and says it’s his dad’s place. He asks what Justin wants, and Just says, him. He’s sick without Jeffrey. Jeffrey says he doesn’t want to do this. Justin says he can’t get Jeffrey out of his head. He asks Jeffrey what to do, and Jeffrey says he needs therapy. Justin says Jeffrey is a therapist, but Jeffrey says he needs someone else; Justin says Jeffrey has no idea how much he’s given up to be with Jeffrey. Jeffrey says Justin keeps reminding him. He tells Justin that self-pity stinks. Justin says he doesn’t know what’s wrong with him; he keeps wanting Jeffrey. Jeffrey says Justin is gay. Justin insists he isn’t. Jeffrey says, until he admits it, he’ll always be in turmoil. Justin says he likes girls, and Jeffrey says he likes being on his stomach too. It’s the truth, and he should own it. Justin says he’s out of there, and starts to go, but comes back. He starts to kiss Jeffrey, who turns away. Justin says he loves him, and he can tell Jeffrey loves him too. His body doesn’t lie. Shakira pops into my head. They begin to kiss, and quickly get busy.

Veronica walks in. Her eyes get as big as saucers, and Jeffrey locks eyes with her.

Next time, Wyatt gets pissed at the bank, Veronica screams her head off, and Wyatt threatens to kill his parents.

May 27, 2018 – 90 Day Night, a Little West Shogunworld, Some Random Info & Memorial Day

Standard

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

I mostly watched reruns of The Office today, but since Fear the Walking Dead was replaced by Jaws 2 tonight, I was thrilled to be able to watch 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? in its entirety, and not at 2 in the morning. I’m somewhat obsessed with this show because it’s like the worst people in the world are on it. Okay, Jax isn’t on it, and maybe Big Brother might take the number one spot, but some really awful people are on this show. And I love it. Here’s my take on the couples so far. Obviously, Mohamad (still watching for that headline with his picture) and Danielle aren’t joining the cast, and the least horrible people, Lauren and Alexi, chose not to participate, as they want some privacy. So without further ado…

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?

Pao and Russ went to Columbia to visit her dying grandmother. Whatever the hell city she’s from was very engaging and colorful, with a carnival atmosphere, but she’s apparently never been to NYC, since she said no city had that much passion in the US. I’m starting to think these two deserve each other. Pao is a selfish twit, insisting Russ move to Miami, leaving his native Oklahoma where he could actually make some money, because she wanted to further her nude picture modeling career. The sad part is, her family seem like decent people, and she claims to love them oh-so-much, but she’s barely talked to them in years, since moving to the States. I’m waiting for her to blame Russ, even though it’s obvious she loves Miami and being photographed naked for whatever gigs she does. (During the previews for next week, it looks like her family is going to blame Russ.) I should add that I’ve never seen her get her picture taken when she’s totally nakey, but might as well be. Russ isn’t happy about the lack of clothing, or even lingerie, which he finds different from a bikini because it evokes thoughts of bedroom antics. She’s basically called him a stick-in-the-mud for feeling the way he does, but I disagree. I’m not prude by any stretch of the imagination, but she knew how he felt, and agreed to terms she didn’t keep – all for the sake of this illustrious career. Honey, you are thirty. And while thirty isn’t old (I’d love to see it again), no one starts modeling at thirty. More like thirteen. I’m not denying that she’s doing legit modeling of some kind, but she acts like she’s Heidi Klum whenever she talks about her “career.” On the other hand, Russ can totally be a wet blanket. While in the city whose name I don’t know, a large group of motorcyclists came past. It turned out that Pao had known one of them since she was a teenager, and they’d briefly dated. Russ kept saying what tough guys bikers were, but dude, these guys were wearing neon and had stickers on their helmets. They were not the Hell’s Angels. To his credit, he did get on a bike for a spin, along with Pao, who rode with her friend. Russ got bent out of shape afterwards, when Pao said she and biker guy had dated, but it wasn’t anything serious. I mean, come on, it’s not like she suddenly hatched when she met him. She also has that mean queen friend, Juan, who’s been outright rude to Russ from the jump, probably because he lost his drinking/gossip buddy. I can’t imagine allowing a friend to talk to your SO the way Juan talks to Russ. Pao has repeatedly acted like she just doesn’t know what to do in the situation, but I know what I’d do. Dump Juan. I’m sure we’ll see him later in the season.

I just shook my head watching Anfisa and Jorge. First, he sought advice about divorce, and even his attorney thought he seemed more relaxed without Anfisa screeching at him every five minutes. I get it. He lied to her. But she could have gone back to Moscow if she’d wanted to, and she didn’t. Anyway, I blinked, and the next thing I knew, he couldn’t live without her again. They met at a restaurant, and she agreed to give it another shot, providing they get marriage counseling. But it looks like next week, she’s back on the fence again. I give up. Another two who deserve each other. I finally found out what the deal was that Jorge was alluding to with her profession in The Couples Tell All. Apparently, she’s done a nakey video with herself. While I didn’t look at the video, I did see some almost tasteful stills from RadarOnline, and it sure looks like her, pre boob job.

What I still haven’t found out is why Pedro calls Chantel Pinky. Maybe I don’t want to know. Their story was much of the same. Pedro’s momma is still waiting on her TV, whining for money, and saying his name in the most annoying way possible. He finally said he’d send her money to get her own damn TV, since it would be $1500 to ship. And I cry over $8. Chantel thought Pedro and her family would bond during a trip to a mountain cabin for five days. Pedro reluctantly agreed to go, but in the preview, says he wants to leave. So many cast members on reality shows love to cut out when the going gets tough, they should issue roller blades with every contract. He’s never going to forgive them for the display of disrespect to his family in the DR. My jury is out on that. After his mother called them stupid Americans and offered them chicken feet to eat, I’m not so sure I blamed them for not wanting more of the same. For the record, Pedro kept saying they eat chicken feet all the time, but other than his cursory nibble at one to prove his point, they went untouched by all. His mother and sister were definitely playing Chantel’s family. On the other hand, her family overreacted when they went to his grandma’s house in the middle of nowhere, sat in the car for a couple of hours, refusing to get out, and then left.

Molly decided to give Luis another chance, although I’m not sure why. Despite his insane ranting at her last season, about having Buddhas and owls all over the place, he actually seems like an okay guy. An okay guy who isn’t ready for the responsibility of a family. Daughter Olivia booked, deciding to stay at her boyfriend’s house while Luis was in the picture. Molly tracked her down, and Olivia said she was being selfish, but agreed to try and work things out. It sounded like Molly said she was done again, but we’ve been there before. SPOILER: I read that Molly has since filed for divorce, and Luis went on a social media rant about how TLC is racist and he’s going to sue them. Good luck with that.

Azan was still waiting on his K1 visa, while Nicole was on pins and needles. When Azan finally did call, no surprise, the video began to break up. How bad is the Wi-Fi in Morocco anyway? First, Azan was required to get a statement from a third party, confirming that the two of them had actually been a couple during the past two years. Then he was denied. Nicole’s mom thought maybe he didn’t really want to come, and had sabotaged things, but in the preview, the lawyer Nicole sees, tells her that he has ties to drug smugglers. Ruh Roh! These two seem too young to be getting that involved anyway. Face it, her weight is always going to be an issue for him, and she’s just looking for a daddy for her daughter.

Annie and David were living in friend Chris’s refurbished firehouse – mega cool digs – but Chris’s wife put the kibosh on Chris funding David. While I’m not sure what David’s problem is with the job thing, it seemed kind of mean to cut him off abruptly when Chris had promised to float him for a few months. He also suddenly asked for $1000 a month rent, which was like a double-whammy. Annie can’t work because she hasn’t gotten her green card yet, and she’s going stir crazy, since she can’t get a driver’s license either. Life in America hasn’t worked out the way she thought, since they’re clipping coupons and she had to pawn her jewelry. That’s right. You can’t believe everything you see on TV – we are not all the Carringtons. His son is moving in with them, which doesn’t make newlywed Annie too happy, since she likes being loud during sex, and… Never mind, it’s bad enough she gave me a mental picture that I can never erase.

🐎 Thoughts on Westworld, which I also got to watch in its regular time-slot. Wow. This show is a little depressing, but I love a good head lopping, and we’re getting a lot of that. The Shogunworld storyline was sad, and so is the wiping of Teddy’s mind. Mostly because I like James Marsden. It looks like Delores is only on her own side, and Maeve has telepathic powers, but is using them for good, trying to help other hosts and humans. Too bad she was a little late for Sakura.  I did approve of the man bun on the dudes in Shogunworld, so they are now added to the list of one – Josh from Sweet Home Oklahoma – that gets my okay. Another thought – whose cleaning up that mess?

🍸 Monday night at 9 pm, BRAVO will be serving up Vanderpump Rules: Secrets Revealed. It’s also being rerun at 10 pm. I love the Secrets shows. They were once called Lost Footage, until the network stopped insulting the viewers with that title. Like I really thought Andy Cohen looked in one of his desk drawers and suddenly found it. The clips are random, but usually more lighthearted, and I swear they save a few things that are better than what we’ve seen during the season.

🏥 General Hospital has no new episode tomorrow. They’re airing the episode from April 13. Normally on a holiday, they rerun something significant, but I can’t tell from the blurb which one it is; it’s so vague.

🙋 So it looks like I’ll be back on Tuesday. Some information for you in the meantime:

May 25, 2018 – Peter Wants to Play Ball & Short But Mixed Quotes

Standard

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Robert and Anna are at Kelly’s, Robert tells Anna go home and get some rest. Anna says she got a text from Emma and Robin saying how much fun they had. She doesn’t know how she’s going to tell them. Robert says she should have thought of that before telling Henrik she’s his mother.

Mac and Felicia visit Maxie at the hospital. Felicia wishes they would have been there, but Spinelli told them the baby is healthy. Maxie says he’s small, but perfect in every way. Felicia hopes Nina was there. Maxie says, in keeping with family tradition, she didn’t have the baby in a catacomb or under a restaurant table, but by the side of the road. Felicia asks her to please say someone was there to help her. Maxie says Peter was there, but tells them to sit down. There are some things they don’t know.

Dante tells Henrik that Nathan was killed January, and Faison died shortly afterward. Why is he still there? He got what he came for. He lured father out. Faison was eliminated, and his hands were clean; why not get out? Henrik says he was going to; he even tendered his resignation. Dante asks what changed his mind, and he says he made connections he didn’t want to lose. Dante calls him a selfish SOB, and says he was having too much fun, ingratiating himself to Nathan’s widow, manipulating Lulu to cover his tracks. Henrik says, oh, he wants to talk about Lulu.

Nina is at Lulu’s house, and asks about Charlotte. Lulu thinks it’s better to keep to her routine until they figure out the next steps. Nina says Charlotte is her primary concern; she’ll assess the damage to her marriage when she can wrap her head around it. Lulu can’t thank Nina enough for acting in Charlotte’s best interest. She can see why Charlotte loves her so much. She’s lucky to have Nina in her life. Lulu has to figure out how to explain it without giving away how much she hates Charlotte’s father. The doorbell rings, and Nina answers. it’s Valentin.

In the empty courtroom, Diane asks if Sonny and Carly will allow her to explain. Carly refuses to plead not guilty by reason of insanity because she’s not crazy.

Anna tells Robert that he doesn’t expect Robin to forgive her, but when she hears the reason, hopefully, she’ll accept it. Robert asks what about their deal, and Anna says she had no choice. Henrik was pointing a gun at her at close range when Jason came in. The only ay to stop him was to tell the truth. Robert says the only reason she did it was because she wanted to.

Dante asks if Henrik thought of the fact they have two kids, when he sent Lulu after his psycho daddy. Did he think of them growing up without a mother? Henrik says he wouldn’t know; he never had one. Dante asks if he’s supposed to feel sorry for the poor man’s version of Faison. Henrik says he never manipulated Lulu, but Dante says he played her. He made her think she was going to win a Pulitzer Prize, when she was just writing for an audience of one – him. If Jason hadn’t shot Faison, who was next on his list? Henrik says he never meant to use anyone, and Dante says he used Nathen as a target. Henrik says he didn’t want his brother to die. Dante tells him not to call Nathen his brother again.

Lulu asks what Valentin is doing there, and he says the custody agreement is still in effect, and it’s his week. Lulu asks if he wants Charlotte to watch him getting dragged away in handcuffs again. He says there were no charges; they can’t keep him. Lulu says they can if he’s trying to kidnap Charlotte. He says there’s nothing preventing him from taking her on vacation, and Lulu says there’s a difference between vacation and hiding. He says he has nothing to hide from; he hasn’t broken any laws. Nina says with so much going on, it would be a show of good faith to keep Charlotte at Lulu’s for the time being.

Mac and Felicia want to thank Peter, but Maxie says, no they don’t. Peter is no hero. He’s Henrik Faison.

Brad sees Nelle at the hospital. He heard she was being released, and gives her a bouquet of flowers. She says Michael is on his way; he’s been worried about her. Brad isn’t surprised since it’s some fall she took. It’s a miracle she and the baby weren’t hurt. Nelle says the baby is a miracle; it’s changed her life already so much. She asks if he’s heard anything about Carly, and he says Lucas and Bobbie are freaked out. They think she’s having a psychotic break or something. Nelle doesn’t want to say mentally ill around Michael, but it’s hard to deny at this point. She knows Michael is thinking it too.

Carly tells Diane that she never even touched Nelle. Diane tells her that Nelle said she did, and there’s a boatload of evidence backing it up, but nothing corroborating Carly’s version. Carly says Jason will find it, but Diane says she’s being arraigned today. There are no fewer than six people, including her mother and daughter, that heard her berating Nelle just twenty minutes before she was at the bottom of the stairs.

Mac can’t believe it, and Felicia says, he’s Nathan’s brother? Maxie says she thought Faison wanted to kidnap her, but he was there for Peter. She was just at the wrong place at the worst possible time. She wishes she’d never gone to Crimson. Nathan wouldn’t have been there, and Faison and Peter could have killed each other. Felicia tells her not to blame herself. She no idea what she was walking into. Maxie says, Peter did. He could have gone to the police, but he didn’t; he just let it happen. She wonders if he was thinking, better you than me? Felicia tells her not to try to make sense of it; there’s no sense to be made. Mac says losing Nathan was a terrible tragedy, but one way to learn to live with it is in there in the hospital. Felicia says there’s a beautiful, new person that she and Nathan brought into the world as a testament to their love. He’s fierce and a survivor, like his mama, and she needs to focus on him. There’s no time for hanging on to bitterness. Maxie says she loves her, and they hug. Max and Felicia want to see the baby.

Henrik says Nathan was his brother. Dante says Henrik was no brother to him. Nathan never would have left him hanging. He would have stood by his side, and taken down their father with him. It’s the kind of guy he was. A brother tells truth, even when you don’t want to hear it, and wears stupid hats at your kids’ parties. Henrik wishes he’d known him, but Dante says he would have been ashamed; Henrik is a coward. The only reason he’s not slamming Henrik’s face into the table is Nathan. His brother wouldn’t want him to do that.

Sonny asks Diane how the insanity would work to Carly’s advantage. Diane says she can avoid accusing a poor, pregnant girl of lying, and wouldn’t be considered responsible for her actions. Carly says she was angry, but fully in control; she only grabbed the blanket. Which, Diane tells her, they cannot produce. She can stick to her story, and run risk of prison, or take the remedy the law affords and maintain she’s not responsible.

Max, Felicia, and Maxie look at the baby, who Max thinks already has a pitching arm. Maxie says wait until they see him up close; he reminds her of Nathan. They ask if she’s decided on a name, and she says she’s naming him after his father. Felicia says, Nathan Junior? but she says, no. Nathan’s given name was James. James Malcolm West, if Mac is okay with that. He says it’s the greatest honor of his life. They all say they love each other, and look at the baby some more Felicia says, welcome to the world.

At the station, Anna asks to talk to Henrik. Dante says, be my guest. Henrik says, just when he thought his day couldn’t get worse; hello, mother.

Nelle tells Brad, sooner or later, they’re both going to have little ones, and start their lives over. She asks if he’s excited, and he says he may even join playgroup. The thought of joining random strangers obsessed with child development, would have made him want to set his hair on fire at one point. Now he’s looking forward to it. Lucas is the opposite. He wants it, but the closer they get, the more afraid he is of jinxing it. Nelle tells him not to worry. Before they know it, they’ll be having a playdate. He’s happy things worked out for her, and she’s building a nest with her man. She says it worked out exility as she planned.

Carly wants to call Jason. She wants someone there believes her, and believes in her. Sonny says he believes in her. Jason can be there, but can’t spend time in Pentenville, where she’s going unless she lets Diane do what she does best. Carly says Diane doesn’t believe her. Diane says her concern is what the judge believes, and her job is to get the best possible outcome. It’s something she can prove. Carly and Nelle have had a complicated relationship. Nelle has chosen to play cool, but Carly has publicly demonstrated her animosity. Diane can prove irrational behavior. Carly says she’s not giving in to a lying snake who’s using her dead son to get to her, and trying to turn her surviving children against her.

Felicia asks if Maxie needs anything. Maxie say she has a bag already packed in the front hall closet. Felicia is impressed, but Maxie says, for all the good it did her. Lulu shows up. She doesn’t want to intrude, but says the baby is beautiful, and congratulates Maxie. Felicia leaves, and Maxie asks Lulu to wait. Lulu heard Peter delivered the baby. Maxie says, she means Henrik, and she swears she didn’t know. He was right under her nose, manipulating her. She was desperate to feel worthwhile and do something she was proud of, and got caught up in the hype and attention on her. She couldn’t face it before, but owns it now. She’s sorry. She never wanted anything bad to happen, and should have listened to Maxie and Dante. She never imagined it would go down like that. Maxie says she was angry and hurt, and still doesn’t agree with what she did, but she’s not responsible for what happened to Nathan. Peter is.

Nina meets Valentin in the park. He knows she’s upset; she should be. He wants her to understand that she means everything to him. She says he’s said it a million times – usually after he’s lied – but this time is different. Her brother is dead. Valentin says, Peter didn’t shoot him, but Nina says Valentin didn’t warn Nathan that he was in town. Valentin says he couldn’t betray him. Valentin admits to being a bad man, and doing bad things; the worst turning over an innocent baby. He changed the course of Peter’s life, and couldn’t undo it. He could only mitigate the damage. So he kept Peter’s secret. He hates how it turned out, but asks her to please understand he had no choice.

Henrik asks why Anna is there. If it’s forgiveness, it’s a wasted trip. She doesn’t blame him for hating her, but she thought he should know the truth; he deserves that. He says he figured it out already. A pretty girl gets knocked up by a monster, wants to forget, and walks away. Anna says, she was young, inexperienced, and let the situation get out of control. He knows how impossible his father was to predict, so when she realized she was pregnant, she wanted to protect from him, and make sure Faison never found out. Henrik says she failed there. Anna says she asked for him to be taken away after he was born. She didn’t want any connection. She didn’t even know she’d had a boy. She convinced herself the less she knew, the more distance could keep, and the safer he’d be, away from Faison and his obsession with her. Henrik tells her to stop lying. He doesn’t need to hear her version of selfless love. She left him with the monster. She says she wasn’t the one who gave him to Faison. It was Valentin.

Sonny asks Diane what kind of argument she can make. Diane says there’s a pattern of irrational behavior at the shower. Carly smashed a present, and argued violently with Nelle. Carly protests, but Diane says, there are facts presented. No one has seen the blanket, and if she continues with that story, she’s likely to spend time in prison, or she make the plea advised and regain her freedom in a matter of months.

Carly says the strategy doesn’t work for her because she’s not crazy. Telling the court she is, is perjury. She didn’t push Nelle, and saying she did is also perjury. Playing Nelle’s game is perpetrating a lie, and she doesn’t want to do that either. Sonny says there’s no choice between prison and the hospital. Diane says there’s no proof of her innocence, but ample proof of irrational behavior. Another factor is her husband.

Brad has to leave. Nelle thanks him for the flowers and gift. She hasn’t had time to write thank you cards. Brad can’t believe Carly would do this, and Nelle says she didn’t throw herself down the stairs. He says no one in their right mind would think that. She says it’s a shame Carly went off the deep end, and hopes she gets the help she needs.

Nina says Peter is a grown man. He knew Faison was after him, and did nothing to warn anyone he was coming. Neither did Valentin. Had they done differently, her brother might be alive. She asks if he wanted to get out of town before Faison got there, and he says, no, but she says he lies all the time. He says if he’d known Faison was coming, he would have been with her. She says she’s done. She’s tired of trying to figure out his motives. She can’t live like this.

Maxie tells lulu about Faison being with Peter at Crimson. She assumed he was there for her, but he was there for his other son. The rest of them were just collateral damage. Lulu says she’s sorry, but Maxie says, no, she is. She’s sorry she let him in her life, believed his lies, and let herself lean on him. She couldn’t see who he was or that he was bad as his father lulu asks to be let back in her life help with baby actually something needs help with name it

Henrik tells Anna she’s laying the blame on Valentin for what she did. She tells him that they were at the Academy together; cadets and friends. They had a falling out, and Valentin resented her. He figured out she was pregnant, and could have turned her in. Instead, he followed her, and found out from the midwife where the baby was placed. It was an illegal adoption, so he confronted the couple, and they gave him up, and Valentin took him to Faison. Henrik wonders why he didn’t tell Faison that she was his mother. Anna says, he told her it was strategy. Henrik says, never give up all the leverage; always keep something in reserve. He says, his mentor, his friend, and Anna says Valentin helped because he regretted what he’d done. Henrik says she didn’t do this for his good; she did it for hers. She says she was just trying to keep him safe. He says clearly, it interfered with her career plan. He says it was different with Robin; her father was the legendary Robert Scorpio. She says it was a different time in her life. Henrik insists she was protecting herself. Dante comes in, and says it’s time for the arraignment, and takes Henrik out.

Anna follows. She says there’s not going to be an arraignment. Tell the DA that she refuses to cooperate. Robert says he tried to kill her, but she says he’s her son. She’s not going to testify against him.

Dante tells her that Jason said Henrik was ready to shoot her. Anna says he misinterpreted the situation. Henrik was never going to shoot her. She says she’s a veteran agent, and Jason is a criminal; who does he think they’ll believe? Dante says no matter how she protects Henrik, he’s innocent. She says she betrayed him once. She’s not going to do it again.

Valentin wants to go home and be a family. Nina asks how that will work? Every time she looks at him, she sees her dead brother. She’s not doing that to herself or Charlotte. If he was a good man, he’d go to Morocco and leave Charlotte with Lulu. He hopes she doesn’t mean that, but she does. She tells him to please leave while his daughter still loves him.

Maxie tells Lulu that if she really wants to do something for her and the baby, help take down Peter August.

Robert tells Anna that guilt is clouding her judgement. She doesn’t want to face the man Henrik has become. Henrik says perhaps if they hear what he has to offer, they might want to play ball.

Carly asks Diane what Sonny has to do with it. Diane says he’s an alleged mobster of some repute. They share a name, and the DA has been trying to take him down for years, If the new DA can put his wife in prison, it’s the next best thing to him. Carly says, so she’s not only crazy, but a scapegoat for Sonny? Diane says it will keep her from that. She can’t prove what she says happened. Carly says Jason can. Sonny says what if he does, and Diane says the DA will spin it into a motive, saying Carly pushed her down the stairs because she was angry. She started it isn’t a legitimate justification for attempted murder. If Carly wants to be a free woman, take the insanity plea. Carly hates this, but Sonny says it’s the only option.

On Monday, Drew asks what’s holding Andre back, Alexis needs a consultation, and Franco wants to meet Elizabeth’s family.
