At Charlie’s Brook told Julian, as long as he accommodated the occasion favor, she wouldn’t have to tell anyone that he’d tampered with Brad’s car and caused the accident. He asked if that was her idea of gratitude, and she said he’d helped pass off a stolen baby as his grandson. When Brad got squirmy, Julian had tried to silence him, and Lucas ended up in a coma. He should be grateful someone worse didn’t know his secret. Someone worse Nelle listened in from the back. Michael went to the MetroCourt with Willow, and told Sonny and Carly that Willow had agreed to marry him. Carly welcomed her to the family, and Willow said it was best for Wiley. Carly said it was best for all three of them, and Sonny asked when it was happening. Michael said he hoped tonight, and Sonny asked to speak with him privately. Lucy was making Sasha keep ice on her nose at The Floating Rib, saying Sasha had to be camera ready for the photo shoot tomorrow. The photographer was expensive, and already booked and paid for. Sasha said her cheeks were numb, but Lucy said they’d thaw. She hated that she’d agreed to a non-airbrushed shoot, and said she’d sue Brook if they had to reschedule. She told Sasha that she’d been where Sasha was, and understood what it was like to be labeled the town tramp. On the phone, Ned told Tracy that he was trying to salvage the Med Tech deal. He intended to carry on as CEO, but he couldn’t force Michael out. Monica came in, and asked what was going on. At the hospital, Trina told Portia that she felt better, but it was because Portia was a great mom, not because she despised Jordan any less. Portia said Jordan wasn’t responsible for what happened to Trina’s father. Trina said, no – he is. Cyrus came by, and Trina got in his face, saying she knew who he was. Cyrus said he was sorry about her father, but Trina wasn’t having it, and said someone had to stop him. Cyrus said there must be a misunderstanding, and Curtis appeared, telling Cyrus, back off. Stay the hell away from her. Cyrus said they hadn’t been introduced, but Curtis said Cyrus knew good and damn well he was Jordan’s husband, and he knew everything about Cyrus. He told Cyrus to play his game somewhere else, and stay the hell away from Trina and Portia. Cyrus said, for the record, Trina had come to him, and he thought there was no harm in offering his condolences. Jordan told Cyrus that they needed to discuss some things. Trina wondered why Curtis was butting in now when he’d left her father to die.

Monica asked if Brook had been arrested again, and Ned said she’d reached out to him, but he’d refused to rescue her. Monica told him, tough love could have unintended consequences; look at his mother and Edward. What if leaving Brook fend for herself made it worse? Sasha asked Lucy if she was being called a tramp, and Lucy said, who cares? People cheated all the time. Lucy said she was there for Sasha, and understood how a good person could find herself cheating. She’d hurt Doc, and it took time, but now they were friends. Doc was happy and she was successful. All’s well that ends well. Martin waited for Nelle, and mumbled that she was trying his patience. Where is that nut case? Brook asked if Julian would take her home, but he said he’d done enough for one day. His phone rang, and it was Leo calling from Olivia’s number. He said, Ned did what? and told Leo he’d be right there. He told Brook that she’d be getting a ride after all. Leo was upset, and said Ned had done something. They left, and Nelle called Martin. She said she was on her way, and he hoped whatever kept her was important; he was charging her for his time and his dinner. She said she had the feeling it would be useful. Carly told Willow that she was grateful Willow had agreed to marry Michael. She knew Willow wasn’t Wiley’s birth mother, but she’d been every bit his mother by her actions. She’d put Wiley first, and Carly couldn’t have picked someone better, but was it what Willow wanted? She knew Willow loved Chase. Willow flashed back to her and Chase moving in together. Sonny asked Michael if this was what he wanted, and Michael said Willow was the perfect stepmother for Wiley. Sonny said the marriage would last beyond the court date. Was Michael willing to live in a loveless marriage? Michael said love hadn’t worked out that well for him. He and Willow had been friends for some time. He liked and trusted her, and they both loved Wiley. Sonny asked if Michael thought that was enough, and Michael said he was doing what he had to for his son. Cyrus told Jordan, her husband was protective, and Jordan said, that was Curtis, but she didn’t need protecting. He said he remembered how capable she was, and thanked her for seeing justice had been served – even if it was years late. She told him that they were alone, and he didn’t have to keep up the act. He said he looked forward to her acting on his behalf, now that he was a resident of Port Charles.

Portia told Trina, it wasn’t Curtis’s fault her father had died, and she was grateful Curtis had saved her. Michael told Sonny that Willow had made sacrifices too, and Wiley was the most important thing. Nelle was a priority, but they could give Wiley stability, and a happy home with parents who respected one another. He was taking it as a win. Sonny said he’d make some calls to get a license. Monica told Ned that he’d done a wonderful job, and thanked him for stepping in while Michael cleared up the mess up with Wiley. Ned said, family looked after family; it was the Quartermaine way. Brook came in with Julian, who wondered where Leo was. Ned said he was sleeping upstairs, and Julian asked for Olivia. Monica said Olivia was also sleeping; she’d had a migraine, and Monica had given her something. Julian said Leo had called him all upset, saying Ned was being mean. He was sobbing. Ned said Leo was playing Julian. He and Olivia had told Leo that he couldn’t have a pet snake. Julian asked to have a chat with Leo, and went upstairs. Ned asked what the hell Brook was doing with Julian. Nelle joined Martin, who said she was just in time for the bill. She said they needed to talk strategy. She saw Sasha, and bugged her about cheating on Michael, saying poor Willow couldn’t catch a break. Jordan said Cyrus was right to say she served all the people in Port Charles, and he said he was sure their paths would cross again soon.

Trina told Portia, she’d begged Curtis to go back, but he refused, and now his wife was trashing her father’s reputation. Portia said she was glad Curtis had rescued Trina, and as much as they wished it wasn’t true, her father had crossed the line. Curtis said Jordan hadn’t wanted to do it, but Cyrus was dangerous, and Trina needed to steer clear of him. Trina said Jordan was the reason Cyrus was free in the first place. She and Curtis were just as bad as he was. Lucy said Sasha needed to brace herself; Michael was marrying Willow. Sonny just called her to officiate. Nelle said Michael couldn’t marry Willow, and Lucy said he could. He was from two families who were pillars of society, and a Spencer too. He could do whatever he wanted. Sasha flashed back to telling Chase that she thought Michael and Willow would get married, and in time, Willow would fall in love with Michael and be the happiest woman in the world. Lucy said, it must be important, but like it or not, Michael gets what he wants. She suggested Sasha go home and rest; she didn’t need the aggravation. Nelle stomped over to Martin. Brook told Ned, a loving father wouldn’t have hung up on her and left her to rot. He said, so she called Julian? and she said, he was the only one available. Ned wondered if Brook being arrested was going to be a regular occurrence, and she said she was defending Michael’s honor, when her boxing mitt accidentally collided with Sasha’s face. We flashed back to that, and Ned asked if Sasha was pressing charges and was it online already. Brook said, no and no. It would have been over, but Chase got on his high horse and wrote her a ticket. The doorbell rang, and it was Josslyn. Brook asked what was up, and Josslyn said Michael and Willow were getting married there tonight. Nelle told Martin, it was obvious what Michael was trying to do, but he said no one could object to Michael marrying a lovely woman he’d known for over a year. Nelle said they needed a counter move now, and told him to earn his money. Monica said she couldn’t be happier, and Ned said he could see it as a legal strategy, but didn’t see how it could work. Brook said Ned wasn’t in a position to give advice, since Tracy had blackmailed him into marrying Katherine Bell. Josslyn said Willow loved Wiley, and just might be good enough for Michael. Sonny, Carly, Michael, and Willow arrived, and Michael asked if they were ready for a wedding.

Curtis agreed that Cyrus should be in prison, but said Jordan had been serving the greater good. Jordan said she was sorry, and Portia told Trina that she had to calm down. She’d just tried to do battle with a dangerous criminal. Portia asked her to promise to stay away from Cyrus, and Trina said she would, if Portia promised Curtis and Jordan would stay away from her. Brook welcomed Willow to the family – God help her – and went to look for a dress for Willow to wear. Sonny thanked Monica, and she asked who was going to officiate. He told her, Lucy, and she asked if he couldn’t find anyone other than Alan’s ex-bimbo. Sonny asked why Julian was there, and Julian said his son lived there. He told Sonny to give Michael and Willow his best wishes. He loved Wiley, and Wiley deserved to be with them, not Nelle. Martin told Nelle that he’d present the best possible case, but Nelle said now Michael was marrying Snow White. He said he couldn’t prevent that any more than he could conjure up a husband for Nelle, and she called him a genius. He said he wasn’t going to marry her, and she said he didn’t have to. Michael asked how Willow was holding up. She told him that she wasn’t a fragile flower, and he said he knew that. He thanked her, and she said she loved Wiley. Now he’s going to be her son again, and she was the one who was grateful. He said mutual gratitude wasn’t a bad foundation, and gave her his great grandmother’s ring. He said he hadn’t known Lila well, but she was generous, kind, and saw the good in people, but was nobody’s fool. The bickering and fighting never touched her. She was a better wife than Edward deserved, and an amazing mother. Michael put the ring on Willow, and of course it was a perfect fit.

Sasha met Chase at the pier. She said it was hitting her hard; Michael and Willow were getting married tonight. Lucy brought the license to the Quartermaine mansion, and told Sonny the judge sent his best wishes. She told Sonny that there was a one-day waiting period, and Sonny said he loved a midnight wedding; technically, at midnight, it would be tomorrow. Carly brough Wiley down to join them. Sasha told Chase that Lucy got the call, but the toughest part was seeing Nelle. If not for her, this wouldn’t have to happen. Chase asked if Nelle knew about the wedding, and Sasha said Nelle overheard, and went zooming over to her lawyer, then left. She doubted Nelle could get past the gate, but thought Michael should be warned. Chase wondered who would take a call from them. Josslyn came downstairs with bouquet she’d miraculously whipped up. Carly’s phone rang, and she told Sasha that it wasn’t a good time. Sasha said Nelle knew Michael and Willow were getting married, and she thought they should have a heads up. Carly said, nothing was getting in the way of the wedding tonight.

Jordan told Curtis that Cyrus hadn’t left the hospital yet. They saw him come by, and Curtis told him visiting hours were over. Cyrus said he was on his way out, but asked if Jordan’s son didn’t work there. He believed TJ was working tonight. Curtis said it was none of his business, but Cyrus said his interests were far-reaching, and that shouldn’t be underestimated. Nelle banged on Charlie’s door. Julian said they were closed but she was insistent. When he answered, she told him that he’d want to hear what she had to say.

The ceremony started, Willow coming down the stairs in a gorgeous gown, that again fit her perfectly. Sasha and Chase had a beer, and Sasha asked if Chase knew where the phrase a far, far better thing came from. He didn’t, so she explained the plot of a Tale of Two Cities. She told him how Sidney had taken his lookalike’s place at the guillotine, and that as he went to his death, he said, it’s a far, far better thing I do than I have ever done before, and it’s a far, far better rest I go to than I have ever known. Chase said at least their heads weren’t being chopped off, and they toasted to Sidney

Michael and willow exchanged vows, and Lucy pronounced them husband and wife. They kissed, and everyone applauded.

The Real Housewives of New York City

Ramona checks out Scarpetta, the venue for her party. She’s brought Leah along, and says she wants the room totally transformed. She has sixty girlfriends who don’t like set tables. At the townhouse, Sonja finds water in the basement, and says she’s starting from scratch. She’s looking for a new renter. LuAnn gives her pup a bath, and says he’s feelin’ Jovani. Ramona asks Leah what she’s wearing to the party, and tells her not to be too revealing or flash anyone. In Ramona’s interview, she says a lot of her girlfriends are petite blonds, and she wants to stand out. The dress code is all black, and she’s going to wear read. Larry says, it’s going to be amazing. In her interview, Ramona says, normally, she’d have Dorinda and Sonja do a walk-through with her, but the way they acted at Larry’s was embarrassing. She tells Leah that she’s psyched, and she’s going to avoid drama. She wants Leah to shield her from déclassé. In Leah’s interview, she says if Ramona is scared of being embarrassed, what kind of women are coming? The Upper East Side facelift crowd? Leah suggests giving Dorinda and Sonja water instead of vodka.

LuAnn meets Sam, director of the Fortune Society, who helps people who just got out of prison get acclimated to society. LuAnn tells Sam that they do good work. In her interview, she says, after she was incarcerated, her eyes were opened to the plight of people who have been incarcerated for many years. They don’t have a job or a place to live. The Fortune Society helps and advocates for them. She says she can’t imagine what it’s like to be incarcerated for more than twenty years. She can’t compare her story, but she doesn’t want to have gone through the experience and not help others. Founder David tells her that he’d gone to the juvenile section in Rikers and it was an exercise in futility. Coming back to society, they had to be better. Sonja joins LuAnn, and in her interview, she says she wants to support LuAnn, who has been giving back in a big way. It’s not just about her; it’s about everyone else who’s had the experience in a bigger way. The former inmates gather, and sit in folding chairs. Sam asks how they got there, and what they want to get out of the group. One woman says she wants serenity, and a guy named Eric says he was in prison for thirty years. He’s 54 now, and has kids; it’s priceless. It was like he lived in a bathroom, since he was in solitary confinement, and he was never living in his bathroom again. Alumnus Rodney says they can do it, and LuAnn gets weepy. In her interview, she says, it’s a beautiful thing to see people who have suffered so much, and hear them be optimistic and look forward to the future. Sam says LuAnn seems emotional, and asks her to introduce herself. She tells the group that she got in trouble In Palm Beach. She got intoxicated, assaulted a police officer, and resisted arrest. She got charged with three felonies, and knows the pain of wearing shackles and handcuffs, and the pain of shame. It happened for a reason, and she learned and grew from it. She had to look at herself, and prays for all of them. LuAnn says she’s happy to be there, and Sam says she’s offered to work with them, and take some of the women for a spa day. In LuAnn’s interview, she says a spa day makes you feel good, and the women deserve to feel good about themselves. She does a group hug with the women.

Avery and Ramona go out to dinner, and Mario joins them. In Ramona’s interview, she says they’ve always loved an Italian restaurant, and follow manager Salvatore wherever he goes. She says people don’t get her relationship with Mario. He lives in Florida full time, and when he comes to New York, they plan nights as a family. She and Avery love it. Mario tells Avery that he just got a flashback. Her mom was pregnant with her, and went to the ladies room, and her water broke. She came out, and said she thought they had to go, but Mario didn’t realize what was going on, and said they hadn’t had their entrée yet. Salvatore pours their wine, and says he remembers; he was in the kitchen when Ramona said she was having a baby. In her interview, Ramona says people don’t get it, and wonder how she can talk to Mario after what he did, but she had to let it go. Mario was angry at her after the divorce, but she worked on it for Avery’s sake, and they came together as a family. Ramona talks about her party, and says there aren’t going to be any men, since she’s not in a relationship. She asks Mario if he’s in a relationship, and he says, define relationship. She says someone you go out with every Saturday night, talk to every day, and look forward to seeing. Mario says, dating is a bitch, and Avery says, he’s working on his golf. In Ramona’s interview, she says Mario squirms when she asks if he’s seeing anyone, and says they’re just a friend. Men. Who can figure them out? Avery toasts to spending time together as people. She loves them. Ramona tells Mario to tell Avery that he loves her too, and he does.

Leah and sister Sarah go to Spa88. Leah says it’s one of the top best three places in the world for people watching. There are a lot of kooks, but it’s interesting. Sarah asks how the Berkshires was, and Leah says, Dorinda went above and beyond. Tinsley is gone, and it breaks Leah’s heart, but she’s getting her castle in the sky. We see a picture of Tinsley and Scott dressed up like a fairytale couple; the sisters can’t decide which one. In Leah’s interview, she says she needs to take notes. She needs a guy with money. She has to take care of a kid already, and can’t take care of another one. She needs a man to take care of her. She tells Sarah that she had a sweet moment with Ramona. We see a clip of Ramona telling Leah that she has to heal the relationship with her mother. Leah tells Sarah that wants to get closer to Bunny, and stop acting like a teenager around her. Sarah says, even when Bunny says something that seems nice, it’s coming from an internal projection. She’s screwed up, and can’t give Leah what she needs. In her interview, Leah says it’s time to take things into her own hands and put in the work. Sarah says Bunny doesn’t like them, and Leah asks if she said that. Sarah blesses herself, and says God forgive her; she’s so mad. Bunny said Leah was looking fake in the face, and wondered how it was going to affect poor Kier. Leah says she only had her lips and Botox done, but now she’s getting a whole overhaul. In her interview, she says she thinks an apology is not on the table anymore. Bunny has some explaining to do. She asks if she can say Sarah told her, and Sarah says she’s all for full transparency.

Ramona weeps with joy when she sees Scarpetta fully transformed. Leah visits Dorinda. Sonja tells assistant Matthew that she’s stressed. She rented out her apartment, and is paying the overhead on the townhouse, where the toilet doesn’t work, and the elevator is still broken. It’s costing $50K a month, and she can’t get ahead. Dorinda tells Leah, something is going on with Sonja. She was kicked out of a bar in Philly. Leah says she saw Page Six. In Dorinda’s interview, she says she and LuAnn went to Philadelphia to hear Sonja speak at Wharton. We see a clip of Sonja telling the students to be themselves. Go for their passion, and they’ll find their way if they follow their heart. Dorinda says they went home, and Sonja stayed. Sonja got kicked out of a gay bar, and she wishes they’d stayed. Leah says, after the Berkshires, she felt she and Sonja were in a good place. She feels bad that Sonja is going through some sh*t. Sonja says she can’t afford live there, and tells a guy named Mike that she put in cheap rugs, so it can easily be redone. In her interview, she says she’s looking to redo everything in white, black, and brass; it’s what renters want. She’s filling house the house with tsotchkes again, and getting ready for a potential renter. It’s never-ending stress. Elyse drops by Dorinda’s, and Dorinda says they were talking about Sonja. Leah tells Elyse that Sonja got thrown out of a gayborhood bar Philly, after singing Hello Dolly. Geez, was it that bad? Sonja tells Mike, she’s a fan of, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, but was told the place looked dated and old lady. The toilet starts running, and she says this is the third time she’s fixed it. Elyse says she took Ramona out to lunch for her real birthday, and Leah says she’s sick of Ramona’s judgement. Ramona told her to make sure to wear something where not everything was falling out. Elyse suggests she wear something with everything falling out. Dorinda says she has exactly what Leah should wear, and goes into her bedroom. Elyse tells Leah, everyone is supposed to wear black, and she’s sure Ramona will be in a bright color. In her interview, Leah says she can’t believe Ramona is concerned about what she’s wearing. Who cares? Dorinda brings out a pair of lacy tap pants and matching bra, and gives them to Leah. In Leah’s interview, she says she’s wearing what she wants to; she’s not listening to Ramona. She says she heard Ramona stopped following Elyse, and says that’s being a mean girl. Ramona has the mean girl juvenile side, and then there’s the amazing Ramona side. Elyse says, Ramona doesn’t mean to be hurtful. Dorinda says Ramona knows exactly what she’s doing, and Elyse is giving an excuse for Ramona sh*tting on her. She’s an unaccountable bitch. In Dorinda’s interview, she says Elyse has Stockholm Syndrome. She likes to be battered by Ramona. Dorinda goes back into her bedroom, and comes out wearing a cocktail dress with a fake front that has humongous boobs. Leah says Dorinda has to wear it.

Ramona arrives at Scarpetta in what she calls red, but I call bright pink. Her sister Tanya is with her. In her interview, Ramona says she’s excited about the party. Everyone who’s important to her is there, including her sister, who lives upstate, so it’s difficult for her to visit. Sonja picks up LuAnn, and asks why Ramona tries to be cool by having her parties downtown, when everyone lives uptown? I wonder, if you can afford a limo, what difference does it make? Sonja says she didn’t want to come, since she wasn’t invited to last year’s party. We flash back to mutual friend Lucia asking Ramona if she wants to invite Sonja, and Ramona saying, no. Sonja says they were all at her baby shower, and her kid is 19 now. They were her longtime friends. In LuAnn’s interview, she says, Sonja has been agitated lately. Ramona saying she has 50 friends is a trigger. We flash back to Ramona telling Sonja, without these 50 women, she wouldn’t be where she is today, and Sonja saying, STFU. Sonja tells LuAnn that these are Ramona’s social friends.

The text at the bottom of the screen counts Ramona’s friends as they appear. Sonja has a price tag hanging from her dress, and LuAnn suggests she take it off. Sonja says she never has time, and then can’t find the scissors. She asks one of the staff for a knife. In Ramona’s interview, she says her so-called real friends didn’t pay attention to the dress code, and the friends who they said weren’t her read friends wore black. She can feel the love in the room, and she’s tickled red. Leah shows up in a sheer black number. Sonja is in rainbow sequins, and in her interview, she says, who wears black to a party? Not at her age. She’s sparkling. At this point, we’re up to #32. Leah says they’re off to a great start to a probably amazing evening. She leaves her coat on, and waits for Ramona to notice her, but Ramona is too busy babbling to her not friends social friends. In her interview, Leah says, bitch, where‘s the bar?

We hit #50. Leah tells Elyse, all she’s hearing about is people who are on the board of some foundation; it’s like Dynasty. She stood near Ramona to say happy birthday, but Ramona isn’t acknowledging her. Ramona tells Dorinda. Larry pulled it together. Leah tells Ramona, happy birthday, and Ramona makes a fuss over Leah’s dress. She tells Leah how hot she looks, and says if men were there, she’d tell Leah to put on a slip. In Leah’s interview, she says it’s a Norma Kamali dress with a body suit attached to it. It’s form fitting, not revealing. Ramona wonders why Sonja’s been so quiet, and LuAnn thinks maybe she’s embarrassed about getting kicked out of the piano bar. Dorinda says Sonja hasn’t spoken a word to her in days, and she’s worried about her. LuAnn says Sonja has some kind of sadness going on. In LuAnn’s interview, she says, Sonja is going off the rails with her drinking. Normally, she can reel it in, but the string on her fishing pole is going way out, with no fish in sight. Ramona jumps on Sonja, who spins her around. Sonja swears that she didn’t know about the black thing, and Ramona says she wants Sonja to look however she wants. It’s her birthday soon too. Let’s shine. In Sonja’s interview, she says the birthday Ramona is talking about will never be celebrated. She doesn’t even know the day. Dorinda tells the women that she thought it would be a great idea for them to take a week in Mexico; they need a girls trip, and Leah has never been on one. I guess Rhode Island didn’t count? LuAnn reminds everyone of the gift that keeps on giving – her falling in the bushes on their last trip to Mexico. Ramona tells Leah not to throw any torches. We flash back to that, and in Leah’s interview, she says she wishes Ramona would let it go. She already has to deal with her real mother not liking her. Now she has to deal with mommy dearest.

Ramona takes the mic, and says all the women there have helped her in so many ways. She sold her apartment in June, and was getting depressed. On Sunday, she would think, oh my God, I’m alone, and that she’d never have a man in her life. Because of them, she realized she loved herself. Dorinda interjects that she gave Ramona a dildo for that. Ramona pretty much ignores the remark, and says the party is a celebration of all of them. They mean so much to her. She gets weepy, and in Sonja’s interview, she says, it’s the same old speech every year. Now can they get back to drinking with the 99 other women? Dorinda takes Sonja aside, and says she feels like they’ve gotten close. She thinks Sonja is a strong beautiful woman, and a deserving soul; her kindness abounds. She thinks Sonja is suffering, and worries about her. When she doesn’t hear from Sonja in four days, she wonders what’s going on. Sonja says she’s stressed, and Dorinda says the townhouse is a burden. LuAnn sits with them, and Sonja says she hides when she’s going through something. LuAnn says she’s worried about Sonja too. In Dorinda’s interview, she says she and Sonja have developed a good relationship, and there’s something Sonja isn’t communicating. It’s not criticism; she’s concerned. She can’t help Sonja if she doesn’t know what Sonja needs. Sonja starts to cry, and Dorinda says that’s good; she’s letting it out. Ramona comes over, and Sonja asks if she embarrassed Ramona by what she’d said. Ramona ignores the question, and shows off her new purse, saying her girls got for her.

Sonja tells Ramona, the purse is ugly as sh*t; exchange it. In her interview, Ramona says, it’s not like she hasn’t thrown Sonja a party before; she’s thrown her two of them. We flash back to the surprise parties that Ramona threw for Sonja. Ramona says today is about her. She’s allowed to throw a party just for her, isn’t she? Leah asks, what’s going on? and Sonja tells Lucia that Ramona disinvited her last year, and she knew Lucia before Ramona. Ramona tells Dorinda that Sonja is starting an argument, and she doesn’t want to argue. It’s her birthday. Sonja yells, it’s actually her birthday. In Leah’s interview, she says she doesn’t often agree with Ramona, but let her have one night. Leave the drama at home for one night. Ramona tells the keyboardist to play a dance song. Whatever he plays, doesn’t sound like dance music to me, but everyone starts dancing. LuAnn takes a selfie with Dorinda and Ramona, and says, photo bomb, apparently not understanding what that means. In Leah’s interview, she says she’s all about girl power, but with all the palm trees and reds, it looks like the beginning of MILF porn. Leah starts giving LuAnn a lap dance, and pulls up her dress. Dorinda and Elyse grind along behind her. Tanya tells Ramona, it looks like they’re having sex, and LuAnn puts a giant flower on Leah’s head. Ramona tells them to stop, pulling Leah’s dress down, saying she’s dancing like a stripper. Leah says she was just joking around, and Dorinda says, it’s funny. Ramona tells Leah that she has a run in her stocking. I don’t know if that’s supposed to be code or a euphemism for something, since Leah isn’t wearing stockings. In Ramona’s interview, she says Leah is embarrassing her, and she’s embarrassed for her. She tells Leah, calm down; 100 women are there. I knew that number would end up changing. Leah says she was just having fun, and Ramona stomps off, looking for the producer. She wants this shut down. Leah yells that Ramona is being effing psychotic. In Dorinda’s interview, she says, Leah can’t do anything right. Ramona is just waiting to pounce on her for anything. Sonja jumps on a table, and dances on a mirrored tray, shattering it as she dances. Leah squeals, wooooo! Ramona barks at the producer, saying she’s quitting the show. She’s done.

Next time, Ramona says Sonja is becoming a liability, Leah says Ramona is a terrible person, Ramona says someone is bi-polar, LuAnn’s luggage vibrates at the airport, and the Cancun vacation begins.

At the hospital, Finn apologized to Willow, saying Chase could be a knucklehead, but suggesting she cut him some slack. Chase wasn’t an expert at relationships. Laura was having lunch at the MetroCourt, and asked Carly to join her. Carly said Michael’s custody case was tomorrow. She’d done everything she could to strengthen the case, but there was no way to be sure. Trina showed up at the hospital to see Portia, who’d thought Josslyn’s driver was bringing her home. Sonny and Jason met Curtis at the pier. Sonny asked about TJ’s memory of the kidnapping, and Curtis recalled when he’d talked to TJ. He told Sonny that TJ didn’t remember much, and Sonny said that was a good thing. The less TJ remembered, the safer he’d be from Cyrus. Mac talked to Jordan about the kidnapping, and flashed back to TJ telling him that he remembered water being nearby, and possible construction.

Carly told Laura that Nelle was a nightmare, and remembered all of her interactions with Nelle. Laura said it seemed Nelle wanted to bring down GH, and Carly said Bobbie and Monica were collateral damage; Nelle wanted to force Michael’s hand in the custody case. Laura said she didn’t think insurance was going to cover it, when Cyrus walked into the MetroCourt. Curtis told Sonny, he didn’t think anyone at the PCPD had found a link between TJ and Cyrus, but Mac was getting close. Curtis flashed back to Mac showing him and Jordan where he thought TJ had been held. He told Sonny that Jordan didn’t know about their meeting. He wasn’t sure she was ready to talk about what needed to happen next, but he was. Mac told Jordan that he didn’t understand why TJ’s phone was used to text her. Jordan remembered getting false messages from TJ, saying he just needed time away to think. Finn told Willow, he wouldn’t blame her if she didn’t want to see Chase again, but did Chase explain things to her? She said Chase apologized, and she knew he was sorry, but that didn’t change anything. Sasha and Michael came out of the hospital elevator. Laura told Carly that Nelle was saying they’d conspired to give Wiley surgery without her permission, and Carly flashed back to Nelle insisting she didn’t sign the consent form, Michael saying she did, and Bobbie telling Nelle that it was in Wiley’s chart. Laura told Carly that she didn’t think the insurance covered that kind of thing, but even if they paid Nelle off, she didn’t think they could survive the negative press. Cyrus approached their table, and said it sounded dire.

Mac wondered why there was no ransom demand, and Jordan said maybe the kidnappers were biding their time. He asked, why? but she said she didn’t know, and asked if TJ remembered something more. Mac told her, no, and she said it sound like he had a theory, so lay it on her.  Curtis told Sonny, the less he knew about Sonny’s methods the better, but Jordan couldn’t be near what happened next. It was his understanding that once Cyrus’s sentence was vacated, Sonny was supposed to handle him. Wasn’t it how he maintained peace and protected his loved ones? With all due respect, Curtis wondered what was taking so long. Trina said she wanted to spend extra time with Portia, but Portia wondered if Trina was there because she didn’t want to be home alone. Trina admitted that was it, and Portia told her what happened was the exception, not the rule, and the town was kept safe by the PCPD. Trina said the Commissioner had thrown her father under the bus, and she remembered Jordan explaining that Taggert had tampered with evidence. Trina asked how Portia could trust anything to do with Jordan.

Carly told Cyrus that it was a private conversation. He said he didn’t mean to intrude, and she said, but yet he had, after eavesdropping. He told her that after being in prison for so long, he was drawn to the female siren song. They’d been talking about the future of GH, which he thought concerned everyone in the city. Laura assured him that everyone would be kept posted, and he said that erased his concerns. Carly said she must have missed the part where he’d said what he wanted, and Cyrus asked for her and Sonny’s address, saying he wanted to send them an invitation to his housewarming. They’d graciously welcomed him to Port Charles, and he wanted to return the gesture. Jason told Curtis that they couldn’t rush things, and sometimes you had to let things play out. If you forced them, they could go sideways quickly. Curtis said he had a family now, and all he could think about was how one bullet separated Trina and Cameron from life and death, and Trina calling out for the father they couldn’t save. Sonny said it couldn’t happen at a worse time, and Curtis told him that Stella had filled him in on Mike’s condition. Sonny said he was doing what he could, and he was going to solve the problem. Curtis had his word. The plan was already in motion. Mac told Jordan if the kidnapping wasn’t financially motivated, the only other reason would be to use TJ as leverage, but TJ’s only connection was to her. Jordan said TJ had been returned, and Mac asked if there had been no demands. Jordan flashed back to visiting Cyrus in prison, Cyrus taunting her, using doublespeak without actually admitting he’d kidnapped TJ, and being sent a picture of TJ in captivity. She remembered the visit from Harmony where Harmony told her that Cyrus wanted to bring a shipment through, and she was to preoccupy the police. Jordan asked Harmony what guarantee she had Cyrus would release TJ, and Harmony said the only guarantee was what Cyrus would do to him if Jordan didn’t do what he’d asked. She thought about Sonny telling her that she couldn’t stay silent, admitting to Sonny that Cyrus had her son, and Sonny saying he took Cyrus’s personal reasons for being in Port Charles to mean her. Jordan told Mac that she’d heard nothing, and Mac said he thought of her as a friend, not just a boss. She said the feeling was mutual, and he told her that if she wanted to talk, he was there.

Finn asked Sasha, what happened? and she said it was no big deal; just a bloody nose. Finn took her to an exam room, and Willow asked Michael if he wanted to talk about it. He said he and Brook were at the boxing gym, and ran into Chase and Sasha. Then Brook accidentally punched Sasha in the nose. Willow wondered why Chase hadn’t driven her there. Carly told Cyrus it was thoughtful, but their calendar was booked. Cyrus said he wanted to send the invite anyway, and she said he could send it there, or to the coffee warehouse; he knew the address. Carly flashed back to the shooting, and Cyrus asked why he would. She said it was as easy to find as a pub in Brooklyn (where there had been a parallel shooting). Cyrus hoped Laura’s schedule was more accommodating, but Laura said a major crime wave was keeping her busy; she had to pass. Cyrus was sure Sonny didn’t like to burden Carly with the details of coffee importing, but they’d reached an understanding. Laura asked, about what? and he said, a conflict of interest, but they’d cleared it up. He was planning a memorable Port Charles debut, and said Laura could expect an invite; he knew where she lived. Carly said he made it sound ominous, but he said it wasn’t intentional, and he’d put them both on his Christmas card list. He left, and Laura followed shortly after, having been put off her lunch. Curtis asked Sonny what he should do, and Sonny said, just live his life. The best thing to do was put on a normal front. What he had in mind took time. Curtis asked, how much time? and Sonny said it depended. Jason said if they attacked now, while Cyrus was parading around as the wronged party, it would draw unwanted attention. Sonny said that was the last thing he or Jordan needed. He and Cyrus had reached a truce. He needed to dig in and play nice, until he found the right moment. Curtis flashed back to Jordan wondering how she could stop Cyrus without risking the lives of her loved ones, and if she should confess that she was in on the frame. Curtis told Sonny, while he threaded this narrow needle, Jordan was stuck on a tightrope with a killer. Jordan told Mac that she appreciated his loyalty and friendship, but there was nothing she wasn’t telling him. She knew how it looked. Mac said he had to ask, and she said she was glad the right man was on the case. She had confidence he’d get to the bottom of it. Mac said he said stay on it until he did.

Curtis came by Jordan’s office, and asked if she wanted to join him in a late dinner. She said she would, but wanted to check on TJ first. Mac watched them leave. Finn examined Sasha, and said, the good news was, her nose wasn’t broken, but he wanted her to keep ice on it. She said, so much for the new face of Deception; they hadn’t even launched yet. She was grateful no paparazzi were around. She said Chase told her that Finn knew everything, and Finn said he wanted Chase to walk away from their well-intentioned disaster before it got worse. He flashed back to telling Chase to let Willow decide. Find her and fix it. Sasha said, so they should come clean, and then what? Everyone would be happy? He said it would be better than what they were doing now, and she said it would be for her and Chase, but Michael and Willow could never be happy if Nelle got Wiley. Portia told Trina that she didn’t like what Jordan had done, but Trina’s father had trusted Jordan. Even if they didn’t know his reasons, his opinion should count for something. He would have wanted Trina to move forward, and focus on her future not his past. Trina said he would have wanted to watch her grow up, and it wasn’t fair. Portia held Trina while she cried a little. Carly told Sonny that he’d just missed Cyrus pretending to be nice, and denying he was threatening. He’d wanted their address to invite them to his housewarming, She’d said  he already had it, since he’d tried to gun them down in three different locations, and then he made it clear that he knew Laura’s address. She wondered how much longer Port Charles would have to endure him. Trina told Portia that she felt better; because she had a great mom, not because she despised Jordan any less. Portia said Jordan wasn’t responsible for Taggert’s death, and Trina said, no – he is. As Cyrus walked by, she confronted him, saying she knew who he was. He said he was sorry about her father, and she said he didn’t sound sorry. He told her there must be a misunderstanding, when Curtis showed up, and told him, back off. Stay the hell away from her.

Finn told Sasha there would be some bruising, but no scar. He said he’d noticed how she’d looked at Michael. She loved Michael, and Chase loved Willow, but they thought the best solution was to play God with everyone’s lives. Michael told Willow that Chase was busy reading Brook the riot act, so he brought Sasha to the hospital. It was hard turning off the feelings. Tomorrow was the hearing, and they had to be ready. Willow assured him that they would be. Sonny went to the MetroCourt, and Carly asked him if he remembered the time they got married so she could spy on him. He said, which time? and she said, either one.  She told him everything stayed between them, and asked if there was anything she needed to know. Sonny said for now it was best to wait until she needed to know. She asked him to promise that he was going to end the craziness with Cyrus, and he promised. She said, when? and he flashed back to telling Cyrus that he could live in Port Charles, but had to conduct business elsewhere. He couldn’t move his merchandise through Sonny’s territory, and it couldn’t touch Sonny or his associates. Cyrus said they had a deal. Sonny also recalled telling Jason that he was biding his time, and when Cyrus stopped looking for Sonny out of the corner of his eye, he was going to take Cyrus out. Sonny told Carly, sooner than Cyrus thinks. Laura went to the PCPD looking for Jordan, but Mac said she’d left. He asked if he could help Laura, and she said, not unless he could get rid of Cyrus. Cyrus told Curtis they hadn’t been introduced, and Curtis said Cyrus knew good and damn well he was Jordan’s husband. Curtis knew everything about Cyrus, and told him to play his game somewhere else, and stay away from Trina and Portia.

Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles

JoshF was forty-five minutes late to see a house in Long Beach, an hour and a half outside of Beverly Hills on a good traffic day. His problem wasn’t traffic though; it was fighting with the GPS on Bobby’s car. The house hadn’t been on the market in nearly fifty years. Seller Julie, whose parents had bought the house after she left for college, met Josh, and showed him around. Casa Oceana was 7,692 square feet, and had spectacular unobstructed views. Built in 1928, it was designed by Roland Coate, who’d done a lot of Spanish revival, which included courtyards. They not only gave a house an indoor/outdoor feel, but prior to air conditioning, it was a place to cool off. Although renovations had been done in 1977-79, the owners kept the original wood beamed ceilings. The most interesting feature was in the chef’s kitchen, a 1970s ceramic induction cooktop, where the heating elements were in the tiles. There were 3 bedrooms and 7 baths, a chauffeur’s quarters that had been turned into a guest suite, and a 56,000 square foot lot. Julie was a stickler for time – I thought, geez, at least Josh had been honest; he could have said it was traffic – but she loved how Josh noticed details other brokers hadn’t, as well as being in agreement with her price point of just under $12 million. Julie gave him the listing, and he thought there would be a ton of interest because no one had seen it, but that didn’t mean it would sell. The buyer would probably have to put $5-6 million into renovations, especially since there were only 3 bedrooms. BTW, Josh’s commission would be $300K. I know they put in a lot of work, but it must be nice to make several years’ salary for most people in one shot.

Tracy’s own house was being sold, but she’d stepped away, since she couldn’t be objective. This didn’t stop her from reminding team member Gina about her house’s special features a million times. She met with Douglas/Elliman agent Tim, along with other investors at La Mirada, their property in Pasadena. Like Tracy with her own home, Tim felt he was too close to the property to be the broker, and wanted to keep it at arm’s length. The group had sunk several million into renovations, the imported tiles alone costing $10K. The house had 4 bedrooms and 3½ baths, engineered white oak flooring, and was on nearly 2 acres. Tracy told Tim, it was $10 million just for the dirt. In her interview, she said mid-century modern sold well because of its simplicity in design, making it easier to renovate, and Pasadena was on fire because of the value. They agreed on a price of $3.325 million.

JoshA and Heather had a new baby boy, Ace, and Josh said Lexie was being the best older sister. He drove to an area of Hollywood Hills that was populated by new money, and attracted young entertainment buyers. He met with seller Ken to look at a 7,456 square foot home with an open floor plan. The seller had put in $2.1 million in renovations, putting in Viking appliances, custom Italian cabinetry, and imported stone countertops. The master suite was huge, 1500 square feet, along with a 300 square foot closet. The house was 4 bedrooms and 6 baths, had a salt water pool, and was on a 26,791 square foot lot. Josh thought it was the epitome of Hollywood Hills, and perfect for someone looking for super clean and modern. Ken needed to go back to New York, and had no choice but to sell it. He wanted to build something for himself in New York, and wanted to move quickly. Josh said it was about comps and the market. The house had been on the market for four months; the listing was stale, and the market was uncertain. He thought Ken should ask for $13 million, but Ken said he’d talked to other agents who agreed with him that he should ask for $15 million, and he’d get back to Josh. In Josh’s interview, he said brokers told sellers what they wanted to hear to get the listing.

JoshF walked into his staff meeting with a bag of panama hats. He told his team about Casa Oceana, and said it had a resort feel, making him want to throw a party. There was something inspiring about it. He thought the party should be daytime casual, and planned on using airplane banner advertising to promote it.

Tracy and Gina went to a high-end vintage clothing store called Timeless Vixen, looking for outfits for the La Mirada open house. Tracy decided she would use a theme, and wanted to pattern it after photographer Slim Aarons. She said his photographs were quintessential of mid-century architecture, with pops of color, perfect for an older house. Tracy zeroed in on a piece of Balenciaga couture, a jacket once owned by Mick Jagger, going for $22K. She told Gina that she needed to sell her house quickly. Gina said she’d gotten an offer of $19 million for Tracy’s house, and Tracy said she didn’t want to play hardball, but wanted to be aggressive with her first counter offer. Her asking price was $23 million, and she countered with $21.9. She thought it was surreal talking about the sale of her own house. She was excited, but used to being on the other side. Gina said Tracy couldn’t buy the jacket yet, and Tracy asked if it could be put on layaway.

JoshF, Bobby, Wilie, and Hilary (Director of Operations) went to Casa Oceana to set up for the party, and watched Josh’s plane go by. In his interview, Josh yelled, da plane! Da plane! then told the group that he’d always wanted his name in the sky. We found out that the plane cost $2500 to rent. Good to know. Josh said they had booze, panama hats, and booze, and someone was going to buy the house for the land and view, not because it was staged. Afterward, he told us, on paper the event went wonderfully, but there were about 290 looky-loos who weren’t even qualified to buy it.

For Tracy’s La Miranda open house, she’d gotten models in full mod wardrobe and makeup, lots of yellow flowers, and fondue in the kitchen. It was a whole moment, and she was into it, even wearing a yellow outfit to match the flowers. She told potential buyers that it was one of the most stylish, functional homes in the area. When she pointed out the Jack and Jill bathroom, I had to go, ugh. Why? Why would you want to brush your teeth next to someone else? It’s not a competition. At the open house, Gina said she knew it wasn’t the ideal time, but the potential buyer for Tracy’s house had come up to her counter of $21.9 million. Tracy said she knew she would miss it, but a new chapter was exciting. She looked forward to something different.

Street artist Gregory Siff did a wall mural outside of the Altman Brothers office building. In his interview, Josh said when people took selfies, his name would be behind them. The mural was really cool – a wall of icons depicting Josh, Matt, and everything that was in their orbit. Josh had one request, that Gregory include his dog Diego, who he’d just lost. Josh got choked up, so I did too, having just lost my oldest dog in May. In Josh’s interview, he said that he’d rescued Diego fourteen years ago, and he was the first dog Josh had lost. In good times and bad, Diego had always been happy to see him. Ken called, and told Josh that he’d talked again to other brokers who thought he could get more for his house. He wanted the most money, and needed to move. Josh said he was a straight shooter and knew the area best. People were telling Ken what he wanted to hear, and it wasn’t the truth. In his interview, Josh said the house would be marketed incorrectly, and would end where it was going to end anyway. It was frustrating. He told Ken that he hoped he was proven wrong, but he wasn’t wrong often. He told Matt that it was bad for the market. It would have a domino effect, where other people would think their houses were worth more. Matt told him to focus on the future. Boy, do I understand this. I’ve gotten into arguments with people wanting me to sell there stuff on eBay for more than it’s worth, and I tell them the same thing, good luck with that.

JoshF said that Casa Oceana needed quality buyers, not just traffic. He decided to have private showings at dusk, when you could hear the ocean waves. While the house needed a facelift, he would steer the potential buyers toward the positives, like the historic character. Most of the people invited were interested in more bedrooms, and wanted to push back the price. Josh was concerned the listing was going to get stale. People just didn’t have the imagination for the property, and it was unfortunate.

Tracy had five days to find a rental, but didn’t seem too concerned. She spoke with Curt, a long-time agent at Douglas/Elliman in Beverly Hills, who said he had a celebrity client wanting to relocate to Pasadena because they wanted more space. They liked La Mirada, but the outside needed to be adjusted. They wanted a $100K landscaping job that would give them more privacy. Tracy thought $100K seemed steep to privatize, and she had other showings coming up. They’d have other offers. Curt said he was there now, and the privacy was a deal breaker. Tracy thought they had a bit to go before they got there. She called Tim, who she knew wasn’t going to spend that much landscaping to privatize the property. She suggested they cap it at $30K. He could sell the house today, and it was a good offer in record-breaking time. She told Curt $30K, Curt said $60K, and she said the maximum without uncertainty was $30K, and she was comfortable with his client walking. Curt told her, his authority was to get as much as he could, and he took the deal. Tracy told Curt, we get sh*t done.

At The Floating Rib, Felicia told Anna that she was worried about Robert. Mac told Robert, getting hammered wouldn’t bring Holly back, but Robert said it numbed the pain a little. Brook was at the gym with Michael, and told him a workout was better than pacing at home; put on the gloves and get aggressive. Nelle told Nina that she had no one to vouch for her at the custody hearing, and asked if Nina was willing. She’d heard what Nina said about her needing someone to believe in her, and how maybe Nina could be that person. It could make all the difference unless she didn’t mean it. At the MetroCourt, Carly told Jax that Nina was playing into Nelle’s hands, but Jax said Nina was nobody’s fool. All she was saying is that Michael should compromise. Sonny was visiting Mike at Turning Woods, and told him that it was Dante’s birthday, but there was no response. Mike just stared into space. Sonny said, no matter how far away Dante was, he was still with them, like Mike. He reminded Mike that Dante had stayed with him when he’d gotten arrested after taking Avery to the stables. He said Mike had to remember something. Just one thing. For him. Alexis said Sam had gone to prison for Kristina, and Kristina said now Sam was on parole, and would be home free as long as she stayed away from Jason, but she couldn’t help herself. Sam had to find a way to sneak around and break the rules, spice it up. Jason appreciated it when he wasn’t not busy taking care of Carly and Sonny. Jason was always busy cleaning up their messes, while Sam was at home with the kids. Jason would die for Sam, but his first priority was Sonny and Carly. Molly said Kristina was jealous of Sam and Jason’s love.

Robert said Holly had beauty and spunk; Mac adding, and a talent for running scams. Robert said Holly could steal your wallet, and make you love her for it. He loved her. Felicia said Holly would want them to celebrate her life, not mourn her death, and Anna said, Holly would want everything first class – on someone else’s dime, of course (🍷). Maxie and Peter walked in, and Maxie wondered what was going on. Robert said it was a terrible time, and they didn’t need Peter around. He told Peter to get out. Sonny showed Mike a picture of Dante on his phone, but Mike only said, nice phone. Sonny talked to Felix in the hallway, saying it was strange that his dad was now eating applesauce like Avery did. Jax told Carly that Lulu and Valentin had a cease fire, but she said their situation was nothing like the one with Wiley. Nina had told Carly that she’d hired Nelle to protect Wiley. Jax said, if there was no smoking gun, Nina wasn’t going to plant one, but Carly said, why the hell not? Jax said Nina saw Nelle as herself, a woman who never got the love of a mother. Carly said Nelle gave her the same sob story, and it was an act of manipulation. Nina told Nelle that she’d misinterpreted what Nina said. She wasn’t defending Nelle, but trying to understand her. Nelle said it was more than anyone had done or tried to do, and Nina said if Nelle was honest, she’d admit there was reason to doubt, or even fear her. Nina said it didn’t matter what she thought anyway; it was about what the judge thought. She didn’t know why she’d even gotten involved, since the custody case had nothing to do with her. Michael sparred with Brook at the gym. She said he needed to get his aggression out, so he didn’t lose it on Nelle, and call her out for the psycho bitch she is. Michael swore he’d be under control, but she told him not to be cold and calculating either, or he might regret it. He had to vent. She told him to pretend she was Nelle and her lawyer. Or pretend she was Chase. While Brook was talking, Chase and Sasha came in and heard her.

Anna told Peter and Maxie that Robert was hurting, and drowning his pain in beer. Maxie explained to Peter that they were there to say goodbye to Holly, Robert’s great love. He said he thought Robert loved Anna, and Maxie said there could be more than one; look at them. Anna added that she and Holly had been frenemies. Maxie wanted to give Robert her condolences before they left. Sonny thanked Felix for being there, and Felix said he was glad Sonny reached out. Making patients more comfortable was the reason he got into nursing. Sonny talked to Mike, but still got no response. He asked what Mike needed. How did he want to live his remaining time? Did he want every measure taken to save his life, or nothing done? Mike motioned Sonny closer, and said, Yankees. Carly told Jax that Nina had unresolved issues. Nina wasn’t not a mother, and Carly thought Nina romanticized it. She told him, just because you delivered a baby didn’t make you a selfless person. She cited Nina’s mother as an example, and Jax asked if having Michael hadn’t changed Carly. Carly said it did, but it wasn’t like a magic wand. It took time for her to figure things out, and make choices. She had to give up things she liked, and had to learn sacrifice. Nelle wasn’t going to learn what was best for Wiley. Nina told Nelle that the most she could say was, Nelle had been a good employee for the near month she’d been there. She couldn’t speak to Nelle’s motives or character, or how good a mother she’d be. Nelle said they talked about it, and she felt the same way about Wiley that Nina felt when she thought she’d found her daughter. She told Nina not to believe Brad. She had a chance to do better with Wiley, but couldn’t do it unless she was given that chance. Chase told Brook to stay out of it, and Brook said Chase deserved to get beat up by Michael, but Michael couldn’t do that. She’d given Sasha the benefit of the doubt, and was willing to buy the fairy tale of Sasha changing her ways for the love of a good man, but Sasha was rotten to the core. She was a liar and a user. Chase told Brook that she was out of line, and Brook called him a cheating cheater who cheats. Willow found out her baby died, and he jumped into bed with her supposed friend. Sasha said Brook’s problem was with her, not Chase. Kristina said it was true that her love life was like the Titanic, but she wasn’t jealous of Sam and Jason. She wanted a relationship like Molly and TJ’s. Molly said she’d cheated on TJ, and Sam told them to stop talking about it. She just wanted a drink. She told Alexis, sorry, and Kristina said Alexis had been sober for years. Alexis said since they were being brutally honest, she’d only been sober two weeks. Maxie told Robert how sorry she was about Holly, and that Peter meant well. Robert said he always did, calling him Henrik. He said, how remarkable it was that a woman like Holly should die, and a dirtbag like Peter gets to live. Sonny and Mike watched the Yankees, and Sonny told Felix, out of everything Mike had forgotten, he remembered baseball. Sonny wished Dante could be there. Jax told Carly that Nina cared more about Wiley than Nelle, and to trust her to do the right thing. Carly hoped he was right. They had a lot going on with Mike, and she was hoping they could lock up the case and be over with Nelle. Jax said he’d help any way he could, and Carly said he was still the good guy who wanted to swoop in and save the day, but he couldn’t. Jax promised to talk to Nina, and Carly said if Nina would listen to anyone, it would be him. Brook asked if Sasha wanted to go ten rounds, and Sasha said she wasn’t like Lulu. Sasha said, don’t bet on it, and Chase told Sasha not to stoop to Brook’s level. Brook stepped out of the ring, and told Sasha that she’d had everything with Michael. She could have been sitting pretty, but jumped into bed with this loser. Getting wound up as she talked, Brook ended with punching Sasha in the nose. Alexis told her daughters that she’d had one drink, and went to an AA meeting. Maybe it was because of testifying at the hearing. Sam admitted that she’d gone off on Alexis, but Alexis said Sam hadn’t made her drink. She did it herself. If she drank every time she and her daughters exchanged words, she wouldn’t have a liver. She was ready for whatever was next. Kristina asked if she meant with Neil, but Alexis wasn’t sure.

Peter went out in the hallway, and Maxie told Robert that he didn’t get to talk to Peter like that. Robert said he knew it wasn’t Holly’s time, but Felicia said it was never the right time. Peter sent a text, saying, I need answers. NOW. Maxie told Robert that she knew it was the grief and beer talking, but it wasn’t Peter’s fault Holly died. Carly met Sonny at Turning Woods, and Sonny told her about Mike wanting to watch the Yankees. Nina told Nelle that Wiley had been taken away from the only parents he knew, and Nelle said Michael’s family would raise Wiley to believe he’d deserted her. He’d grow up wondering why his mother didn’t want him. She asked if Nina was going to help her, when Jax came in. Michael took Sasha to the hospital, and Chase told Brook that she couldn’t keep punching people. Brook said, it was an accident, and he wondered why accidents always involved her. Brook told him not to blame her because he’d ruined his life since he couldn’t keep it in his pants. Felicia brought Robert coffee, and Robert insisted he hadn’t said anything bad. Anna said he tried to make Peter feel guilty for being alive, and Felicia said they understood he was upset, but he owed Peter an apology. Holly would want that. Maxie said Peter was out getting some air. In the alleyway, Peter threw his henchman up against the wall, saying he’d wanted to distract Robert, not kill Holly. The henchman said he had nothing to do with it, and swore it was the truth. Peter said there was no need for distraction now. Fate had done it for him. Sonny told Carly that Mike connected Dante’s birthday to the Yankees. Sonny had asked about the DNR, and that showed him that Mike wasn’t ready to give up yet. Jax went to the Crimson office to see if Nina was finished, and Nelle said they were mid-conversation. Nina said it was late, and Nelle thanked her for listening. She hoped Nina would think about what she’d said. Nelle left, and Nina told Jax that Nelle wanted her to be a character witness at the custody hearing, and he said Nelle was shameless.

Brook asked if it made Chase uncomfortable that she called him out. The Quartermaines might talk about each other, but they closed ranks when it came to an interloper like Sasha. Chase said, behind closed doors, that was their business, but her disturbing the peace was his. He gave Brook a ticket, and she ripped it up. Peter came back, and Maxie told him, it was just Robert’s grief talking. Felicia told Anna that they’d have to plan a proper memorial, but not too proper. Holly loved a good time. Anna said she read the report from the WSB; Holly sometimes did contract work for them. Whether she’d been on assignment was classified, but Anna saw enough to believe there was more to the story. Sonny told Carly that he wasn’t ready to make any decisions, and he’d try to talk to Mike tomorrow. Brook called Chase a glorified meter maid, and arrested her. Nelle called Martin, saying she’d just found a character witness that would make their case a slam dunk. Nina said she didn’t tell Nelle that she’d testify, and Jax said she didn’t say she wouldn’t either. If she gave Nelle the benefit of the doubt, Wiley would pay the price. Could she live with that? Kristina asked Alexis if Neil had lost his license because of their relationship, but Alexis said she wasn’t sure. Diane called Alexis, who said she couldn’t talk, and just give her the news. When she got off the phone, Sam asked, what happened? and Alexis said she’d been disbarred.

The Shahs of Sunset – Reunion Part One

This was on Sunday night, but I watched it late.

After the initial introductions, and weirdness since everything is remote, GG talked about having Elijah. Since she’d only been allowed one person with her, due to the pandemic, she’d brought her sister Leila. Nema said GG had blocked him from all social media, and GG said whenever she posted something without mentioning a name, he made everything about himself. GG kept eating the whole time, making me laugh, especially since she was high as a kite. Paulina joined Mike, and we revisited MJ trash talking Mike to her when they were in Hawaii. Paulina said Mike had been honest with her from the jump, and everyone agreed she was Mike’s soulmate. Andy said there had been a rumor there was a blow-up at Bravocon, but Reza said that was false; it was just a discussion. He and Mike ended up crying together. Andy said he loved it when they did that, and we revisited other times when they’d gotten weepy. Mike mentioned that Paulina was the first significant other he’d brought to the reunion, and Andy said that was only because Mike wouldn’t allow Jessica to participate. Nema said he wanted to heal the relationship with his dad, and wanted to have the kind of relationship GG and Mike had with their parents. He was optimistic, but there was a lot of hurt to overcome. Destiney told him not to let ancestral drama get in the way. The conversation moved on to Nema’s new veneers, which Destiney, GG, and Reza had joked about on social media. Personally, I find them pretty distracting. GG got offended when Nema called the Shahs our show, and he said, like it or not, he was a cast member. GG said he had jumped on their pinky toe fungus, and I thought, I’ll have what she’s having.

They moved on to when Mike, Shervin (who wasn’t at the reunion), and Nema had been kicked off the plane to Arizona for no reason other than discrimination. Mike explained that a guy had taken their seats, and expressed his fear of them. Destiney said she consistently got her hands checked for bomb residue, which caused Andy to change the topic to Destiney’s relationship with Sam. We flashed back to that, and Reza said, after Sam slept with Destiney, he had a swaggy-ass walk like he had a five pound penis. Destiney would not confirm or deny that weight. Adam joined Reza, and MJ suddenly said she needed more accountability from Reza or she wasn’t participating. She pretended to leave, stood next the computer (GG pointed out that we could clearly see her shadow), then sat back down. GG said she’d already pulled that move at the last reunion, and Reza suggested MJ was jumping on GG’s pinky toe fungus act. MJ said she needed to intercept [sic] the conversation. She and Reza had been friends for thirty years, and she didn’t believe he’d ever cared about her. Reza said Tommy had tried to record a conversation he’d had with Reza’s hairdresser, trying to get dirt on Adam. MJ said Adam was the one who had brought Ali into their group, and that’s when the inevitable happened – everyone talking at once, so I could hear nothing. MJ said she hadn’t seen Ali since then, and Mike said MJ had allowed and encouraged Ali to pump up his story. Once he had a platform, he continued to embellished the story, and she should have shut it down. MJ said she’d nearly died in childbirth, and Reza said she used her near-death experience as an excuse for everything. He said MJ had betrayed him, and MJ thought should Reza should focus on Adam’s philandering (who uses that word?) texts, and claimed the reunion was a dog and pony show. She said, like life in the pandemic, their friendship wasn’t going back to the way it was. He’d destroyed thirty years.

Next time – part two – Mike mediates Reza and MJ, while GG, Destiney, and Nema are asked to leave. Since the fight between MJ and Reza has disturbed me greatly, I’m bringing tissues.

Below Deck Mediterranean

Hannah tells Kiko that he has to work on portion sizes; the guests are still hungry. Kiko says it’s hard for him to deal with mentally. Some of the guests start clanking something that looks like a chain, like they’re ringing a bell for the help, and shouting, where’s the food? Hannah brings out more. Rob asks how Malia feels about Pete being demoted. She says, it was necessary. It’s not okay to make someone else uncomfortable. In Malia’s interview, she says it was better to keep Pete away from the females, and give him time to get in his own head and realize he’s creeping the rest of the crew out. She confirms that Rob is to hand anchor watch over to Pete at 4 am. The guests cram into the hot tub, and dance around. At least they crash at around midnight, which beats those guests who brought their own guests, and kept going until nearly 5 am.

At 6:30, it’s a new day. Kiko tells the captain that, even though the guests liked the food, he wasn’t thrilled with his organization and presentation. Captain Sandy suggests mapping out where everything is in the galley. In her interview, she says Kiko needs to be organized; the ability for timing is critical, and the food is good, but the guests need the full experience. Hannah tells the guests that they’re going on a 45 minute cruise to a beautiful anchorage, where they’ll put out the water toys, and we find out it’s Giancarlo’s birthday. Malia instructs Alex, and in her interview, she says she’s trying to get the deck crew up to standard, and giving them an extra push. Jess does cabins despite her fractured finger. In her interview, she says it’s a bit of a struggle, but she’s determined to show she’s no different, and it’s the equivalent of someone with a bad hangover. Anchor is dropped and the toys are put out. In Kiko’s interview, he says, last night was a disaster. He has a chance to show what he can do, and he’s going to do his best. Sushi and tempura are planned for lunch, and Bernardo asks if Kiko knows how to make ponzu sauce. Rob is having a problem with his toe, and needs to tape it. Afterwards, he steals a kiss from Jess in the laundry. Malia asks Rob to help with something, and he says, there’s tension on the boat; they should try to be polite. Malia says, the guests need to be up to speed, and Rob says he’ll just be quiet today. Malia says he doesn’t have to take it personally, but sometimes a boss will ask you to hurry. Rob says she’s creating negative energy, and she tells him, regardless of how people are feeling, it has to be a professional pace. In Malia’s interview, she says she doesn’t give a f*** about Rob’s energy. He needs to move faster. She tells him, regardless of how people are feeling, they have to step it up. The guests jet ski and take photos. Kiki says he needs to kill it on lunch, and thinks he’s got some skills. He makes a ton of sushi. I haven’t eaten dinner yet, and it looks heavenly. I cry a little in my head, as our local sushi place closed. The slide is put up, and Malia instructs Rob on how to pull it out into the water. He says she’s making him stressed out, and Malia wonders why it’s so hard. Bugs asks Jess to bring wine glasses, and Jess says she would if she could understand Bugs. In Bugs’s interview, she says she doesn’t need a smart-ass comeback; she’s trying to help Jess. The guests are seated for lunch.

Hannah serves sushi a la Kiko, and Bernardo wonders about the ponzu sauce. Hannah asks Kiko about the sauce, and vegan rolls. Bernardo also wants more mushrooms. Jess comes down the stairs with the glasses, and for a moment, it looks like a tragedy is going to happen, but she makes it. Malia tells Rob that he needs to realize, sometimes something needs to happen in the moment, and she’ll explain later. They have a million different things to get done. Rob says he’s sorry. Bernardo demands the ponzu sauce, and it looks chaotic in the galley. Another guest whines that they’re not full, and Bernardo says they’re having a late lunch and an early dinner. Hannah talks to boyfriend Tom on the phone. Bugs tells Bernardo that Kiko wants to ponzu sauce on point, and Kiko chops mushrooms like a madman. Bugs tells him, the guests want more sauce, and in his interview, he says he’s not effing McDonalds. Malia tells Alex, they’re at charter four, where the boat starts going near the iceberg. Bugs asks Kiko for more vegan rolls and tempura. She asks if Jess can’t multitask, and Jess tells her, not while she’s talking. Bugs thinks things are out of control. In her interview, Bugs says working under another person, and not being in charge, is helping her to start letting go of the control freak in her. Jess asks Bugs to try speaking slower and clearer, but Bugs doesn’t know how can do it any better. Jess says Bugs is right; it’s her, but she doesn’t purposely not want to understand. Jess and Bugs start to get into it, when Captain Sandy comes by, and says, no; we’re done. The captain tells Hannah that Jess can’t understand Bugs over the radio, and Bugs asks Hannah for help. Jess mumbles, clearly, Bugs can speak clearer if she heard her the third time around. Bugs tells Hannah that she’s trying to be calm, and make sure Hannah isn’t bombarded after her break. The captain tells Jess that they’re in an industry where there are different dialects and accent. They have to adjust their ears to others’ communication. Jess says she’s trying, and Captain Sandy says she knows everyone is tired and trying to figure it out. In her interview, Bugs says it’s frustrating watching the interior run like this, but it’s liberating that it’s not in her control. The captain tells Hannah that she knows Jess is their weak link, but she has a great attitude. They also need to help Kiko adjust, since he’s not used to this level of service. Malia asks Captain Sandy if they can leave the jet skis out, but the captain says, no, since they’re going on a three hour tour cruise.

The dinner table is set, and Malia leaves to pick up the mariachi band. Bugs tells Kiko, they’re seating the guests at 7:15. Alex says he loves Bugs’s smile, and she says she loves that he loves it. He wonders if they’re flirting. Captain Sandy tells the guests that they’re going to do a cruise. When they wake up tomorrow, it will be a different experience. The guests toast to that, and Malia radios Hannah that the band is approaching. The band starts to play, and continues as they board the boat. In Kiko’s interview, he says he never had a captain watch him before. He needs to concentrate and be in control. Bugs tells Kiko that the guests are loving the food, and Kiko says, if they’re happy, he’s happy. Kiko tells Hannah that the entrée is a surf and turf, and vegan pasta. He wonders where his effing almonds are. Alex says, another day in paradise. The vegetarian guest isn’t thrilled with the pasta, and says, it’s cold. Another guest sends their surf and turf back. Hanna tastes the prawns, and tells Kiko, the flavor is good, but the texture is off.  Hannah asks if the guest wants something else, but she says she’s fine. In Kiko’s interview, he says he’s not confident at all, and doesn’t know wtf to do. The carrot birthday cake comes out, and it’s gorgeous, delicately decorated with flowers. Captain Sandy asks Bernardo how dinner was, and he says he thought it was good, but for some people… The vegetarian guy says, for a yacht like this, the food is average. The chef doesn’t know how to navigate vegetarian. The captain says she’s not happy. Her goal is for their level of experience to be the best they’ve ever experienced.

The boat moves forward, and a guest asks Bugs if they she can call for boys, or if anyone is gay on the boat. Somehow she dodges those questions, and a guest asks who she’d hook up with. She says she would shag Kiko, marry Alex, and kill Pete. The guests chant, Bugs-y! Bugs-y! In the crew mess, Kiko says he’s so tired, he wishes someone would shower him. Hannah says she likes Jess’s dressing gown, and Jess says it makes her feel like she’s not on a boat working her ass off, and Hannah says, so does valium. In Alex’s interview, he says he thinks Bugs is a little into him. The guests dance on deck, while Captain Sandy says they get to anchor in the moon, which looks amazing above the water. At 1:30 the guests go to bed. One nearly slides down the stairs.

In his interview, Kiko says the stress of the boat makes him depressed. Food is about mood, and if he’s stressed, his food isn’t the same. Hannah tells Jess to vacuum, and the dreaded slide is put out. Jess tells Hannah that the vacuum isn’t functioning, and Hannah asks if the bag is full. Captain Sandy asks the guests if it was a nice ride last night, and they agree it was amazing. She finds out no one has waited on them yet, and tells Hannah, the guests are sitting at the table, but no one has been out to see them. Not one person has gone to check. Hannah says Jess was supposed to radio her, not mentioning how she was also changing the vacuum cleaner bag, and the captain tells her to take some food to the table immediately. In Captain Sandy’s interview, she says, it’s disturbing. Hannah takes coffee orders, and procrastinates in the galley. In her interview, the captain says she doesn’t see Hannah leaving, and feels like Hannah doesn’t care.

In Malia’s interview, she says she likes that Alex is a step up to the plate guy, who she can throw anywhere. Hannah mixes up the oat milk and almond milk orders. Captain Sandy sees a plate of what look like American cheese slices, and says, it can’t go out like that. She’s not happy with the whole breakfast. Hannah does seem like she’s sleepwalking through the second half of this episode and I wonder if it has anything to do with the boyfriend call. The captain watches, and mutters, f***. The guests jet ski and use the slide. Captain Sandy tells Hannah that she wants to chat after the tip meeting. In Rob’s interview, he says, it’s so emasculating. The slide took everything out of them. The captain has Malia help at the bridge, and in her interview, Malia says, it’s exciting to get to drive the boat out of anchorage. It feels like a dream. She feels like the captain is making her Captain Sandy Junior, and she’s okay with it. Hannah tells Jess that the captain is missing laundry, but Jess says she hasn’t done the captain’s laundry. Hannah says, Captain Sandy ain’t happy, and Jess says she’s trying as hard as she can.

It’s time for the guests’ departure. Bernardo says they’ve chartered yachts before, and it’s been amazing. He’s grateful for the experience, but knows some people weren’t crazy about the food. Giancarlo says, a boat this big should have incredible food and service, and they were kept waiting a lot. He says Bugsy was helpful and nice, and Bernardo gives Captain Sandy the tip envelope. Pete says he didn’t know the kitchen failed. Alex says, it sucks. Jess tells Rob about getting yelled at when she was giving her all. Rob says, kill them with kindness; that’s what he does. In Jess’s interview, she says Rob is her safe zone. If she hugs him for two seconds, she feels better. It’s time for the tip meeting.

Captain Sandy shakes her head, saying she thinks they failed. The crew is prioritizing themselves, not the clients. Breakfast was a disaster. She knows they’re tired and working hard, but she’s tired of having the same conversation. She wants to finish with all of them, but if she can’t do that, she’ll have to let some people go. They’re going to be there on charter five. The tip is $15K, or 1100 euros each. In Bugs’s interview, she says she feels sorry for Kiko, and Hannah. Hannah is getting flak form the captain, but at the same time, Hannah is also letting a ton of stuff slide. The boat is cleaned, and Captain Sandy calls Hannah to meet her on deck. The captain says she wanted to check in with Hannah, and asks if she’s good. She feels like Hannah is different; not herself. She knows there were a lot of challenges, and wants to support, not replace. She feels like Hannah resigned, and wonders if she’s thinking things that aren’t accurate. Hannah says it’s a shock to her, and the captain says either Hannah has passion or she’s timid. In Hannah’s interview, she says she’s effing tired, and knows what it’s like when Captain Sandy is on a rant like this. The best thing is for her to keep her mouth shut. The captain wonders why Hannah never mentioned anything about Kiko’s level of cooking, and Hannah says, it’s not laziness. Captain Sandy says she doesn’t want to fire him, but if she can’t get what she needs, she’ll have no choice. She’s just making sure Hannah feels supported. In her interview, Bugs says Jess is a good person, and she doesn’t want to hold anything against her. If it’s not going to matter five years from now, why waste five minutes on it?

The captain calls Kiko to the bridge. She tells him that the guests weren’t happy with the food, and it’s not about being nice. It’s about her goal to her client. She doesn’t need personality; she needs the food, and she’s worried. She wants to hear the clients go, wow. They pay a lot of money. She doesn’t want her reputation ruined, and doesn’t want to be average. They have to be spectacular. He says he always tries, and she says, it’s not a beat up session, but a reality session. He has to be good in every capacity, or she has to find another chef.

Next time, Jess has to come up to par or be fired, Kiko thinks the guests will be picky, and Malia dives into the water when a guest has a jet ski accident.

Franco asked Ava what Nikolas did, and Ava said she thought she was supposed to be comforting him. Franco said he was trying to get her to open up, and she admitted she and Nikolas had an argument about Spencer, and it got ugly. Nikolas said Kiki had despised her, and she’d driven Kiki away. He told her that he hoped Carly’s influence saved Avery. Franco said Ava’s marriage was toxic. She should leave the dark prince to brood on his own; she didn’t need any of it. At the hospital, Nikolas said Elizabeth was obviously upset, and she told him that he’d driven her sister out of Port Charles, causing her to abandon her daughter. The Nikolas she knew would never do that; that’s not a friend. Nikolas said he was at a crossroads, and needed her help with a decision. In her office at Crimson, Nina thanked Jax for talking to Charlotte, and Jax asked how it went. She said Lulu showed up, talked to Valentin, and agreed to drop the petition for full custody. They’re going to share custody 50/50. On the phone, Carly asked Michael how it went with Diane, and told him that Diane would make sure he had every advantage when they went to court to fight for Wiley. At the MetroCourt, Nelle asked if Martin was prepared to win sole custody for her, and he said that depended on her. Still arguing at the clothing drive, Kristina told Sam that she’d never asked for help. Sam took it upon herself to act like a savior. Sam asked if she was supposed to watch Shiloh exploit and brainwash Kristina. She loved Kristina, and Kristina had given up on them, not the other way around. Kristina said she’d been in pain and depressed. She’d felt hopeless and alone when she joined DoD. Where was Sam’s concern then? Sam had probably expected her to be a loser. Sam suggested Kristina go to therapy. Sam had been on trial for murder, gone to prison, and lost time with her children. She couldn’t be around her family now. Kristina said Sam had wanted to go against Shiloh, just like she enjoyed sneaking around, violating her parole. Sam was addicted to danger, and the only reason Sam and Jason were still in love was because of her.

Elizabeth told Nikolas to find someone else to talk to, and he said Spencer was willing to explore their relationship again. Elizabeth said she told him Spencer just needed time to heal, but he told her not to pop the champagne cork yet. Spencer had agreed under the condition he leave Ava. Elizabeth said that was a get-out-of-jail-free card. Franco told Ava, she had the gallery, but she said it wasn’t an island. Franco got that she wanted to be queen of the castle, but thought she should find a real prince, and dump the frog. Ava started babbling about where to hang the portrait, and Franco said she didn’t need to do that with him. He knew the real reason she’d married Nikolas. Carly told Michael that Diane was the best, and was thoroughly prepared to show he was the better parent. Nelle could try conning the judge, but the truth would come out. Jax told Nina, there was nothing worse than being caught in the middle of a nightmare custody battle. There was a difference between a parent who adored their child, and one who was good for them, and Valentin fell short. Nina said Charlotte made Valentin a better person. Carly showed up, and asked if Nina had something they could use against Nelle in the custody hearing. Nelle told Martin that she had a respectable job and had just bought a house. She was going to win because Michael had just suffered a shattering breakup; he’d been cheated on. Martin asked if she’d leaked it to The Invader, but she said Wiley’s mother wasn’t mean-spirited or malicious, but she expected him to tell the judge about Michael’s failed relationship. Martin asked if Nelle could keep a partner, or did they all die? Franco said, in a weird way, Ava’s choices were motivated by love, but he didn’t understand Nikolas. He thought she was punishing herself for Kiki’s death. Elizabeth told Nikolas that he had a long way to go before he turned back to being the good guy she knew. He said if he divorced Ava, he’d lose everything, and she asked if Spencer wasn’t worth it. She wondered if he had feelings for Ava. Kristina said Sam was a danger junkie, and couldn’t stand the day to day. She’d wanted domesticity with Drew, but when the real deal came back, Sam went back to ride or die. Molly said Jason loved Sam, and Kristina said she there was no question Jason would die for Sam. He just couldn’t live with her.

Nelle told Martin that her fiancé’s death had been an unfortunate accident. She’d pleaded guilty to spare his family any further pain. Martin said he’d get out the violin, and she said she prevented Ryan’s escape at her own peril. Martin said she was good, but if he brought up Michael’s relationships, hers would also be called into question. She said Shiloh was the love of her life, and their relationship was tragically cut short by Sam, who was a good friend of Michael’s family. Sam made her a widow. He asked if she had any character witnesses that could testify as to her integrity, humanity, and compassion. Nina told Carly, she hated to admit it, but Nelle had been an exemplary employee. She couldn’t give Carly what she didn’t have. Carly said Wiley would need surgery again in another six months, and if it was up to Nelle, he wouldn’t get it. Nina asked if Carly had listened to Nelle’s reasons, and said she thought Wiley would be better served if Michael compromised like Lulu and Valentin had. They put their issues aside for Charlotte’s sake, and Charlotte is better off. She thought shared custody would be the best situation for Wiley. Carly said Nelle had won Nina over. Nikolas told Elizabeth that she had no idea what it cost him to survive the shooting and the fall. The entire time, he’d been planning his return, and all that kept him alive was his need to reclaim his  name and birthright. Spencer had no idea what it was like to live without a fortune. Elizabeth said, 10% was still a fortune, and it wasn’t like Spencer would be out on the streets. How did he know what Spencer wanted without talking to him? Would Spencer rather have money or his dad? Ava told Franco that he was wrong, but he said she sabotaged her happiness because of Kiki. Ava didn’t kill her, Ryan did, and she’d rather do battle with Nikolas than deal with her feelings about Kiki. She told him to stop caring, and go back to the psycho he used to be.

Nelle told Martin that Carly had locked her on the hospital roof, and signed her name to documents allowing unnecessary surgery on her child. Martin said, so she had no one to vouch for her character? She said she visited Wiley every day in the hospital, and even brought the nurses donuts. They could attest to her maternal instincts. He said he needed someone she’d known longer than a month. Michael was going to have a parade of pillars of the community, family, and friends, which she lacked. Nina told Carly that she thought Nelle wanted to be the best mother she could, and Carly said Nelle was a pathological liar, incapable of accepting kindness, or showing love and affection. She would leave Wiley emotionally damaged. Nina said what if Nelle was affected by mental illness? and Carly said Nelle was a sociopath, and totally playing Nina. Jax said he thought Nelle was taking advantage of Nina, and Nina asked, what if Carly had been judged on how she used to be? If she’d had no one in her life who’d stood by her, who would she be now? Sam asked what Kristina meant. Kristina had always been supportive of her and Jason’s relationship; why was she saying that Jason would want to be away from her? Kristina said it was hotter when they were forced to be apart, and the relationship wouldn’t survive without drama. Nikolas told Elizabeth, he was afraid of Spencer’s answer. Spencer had said he didn’t care about the money, but he was used to the lifestyle. Elizabeth said Nikolas couldn’t make assumptions about teen boys. Cameron had hated Franco, and now they were each other’s biggest fans. Nikolas wondered how two totally different people could find happiness, and Elizabeth said Franco had stood by her when she was the town pariah, and they’d connected over art. Franco told Ava that he wasn’t a psycho anymore, even if Ava’s invite said that. Ava said he had a tumor to blame it on; she didn’t. He said he still had to deal with the people he’d hurt in his head; it didn’t go away. Ava asked how he coped, and he said, Elizabeth and the boys, making art, and being of service. She said she didn’t do healthy well. She wasn’t good at finding love, but she knew how to make money, and played to her strengths. He said by exploiting the bad boy genius artist, and she asked if he was okay with that. Nelle told Martin that she had no family, but a good lawyer could make her terrible childhood work. Martin said the judge would want to know if she had someone to call in an emergency. It would be a hard sell with her having opposed Wiley’s medical procedure. To be honest, her best hope was for shared custody.

Jax suggested Carly and Nina dial it down. He told Nina, even when he and Carly were at odds, he never thought Carly would use Josslyn to spite him. Nina said it was better to have the love of both parents, and Jax said she couldn’t compare Carly and Nelle. Carly said she never risked Josslyn’s health or safety to punish the family, and there was more to motherhood than biology. Nina didn’t understand because she’d never been a mother. Nelle asked why she was paying Martin so much, and wanted a refund on her advance, unless he could ensure she’d get sole custody. He asked if she was prepared to be a mother. Ava told Franco, talent could only get you so far, and she had to remind the public who Franco was. He said he was okay with that, but he wasn’t so sure about Elizabeth. They’d had an argument, and he’d hurt her feelings. Ava said she knew Elizabeth would forgive him. Let her bring the bad boy back to the art world. it was the one bright spot in the foolish, ridiculous life she’d built for herself. Nikolas told Elizabeth, this was about Franco, not him, and Elizabeth said she wasn’t thrilled that Ava was using Franco’s criminal history to promote his art. Franco had said that wasn’t how the art world worked, but she didn’t know that because she wasn’t a real artist. Nikolas said he was there when she found her talent and found solace in art. If she could have developed her vision, she would have put Franco to shame. She wasn’t afraid to show her soul. Nelle said Martin was accusing her of being a bad mom, and he told her that wasn’t what he’d said. Fighting for custody was easy; raising a child was hard. Nelle said she was alone for the nine months she carried Wiley, and alone when she gave birth. Martin suggested she read some baby books and blogs, and make sure she talked about the minutes she’d had with her son. He told her to wear not-waterproof mascara, and find a character witness, preferably someone not in prison. She said he didn’t want to let her down.

Carly said she knew Nina believed she would have had a connection with her child, and been the best mother, and she would have, because she’s a good person. Nelle didn’t have it in her. She’d handed Michael’s baby to Brad and said the baby had died. Nina said, maybe she was telling the truth; Brad lied about everything else. Carly said Nelle didn’t give a damn about Wiley. All she cared about was hurting Michael. She asked Nina to think about that, and tell her if she can’t remember anything they could use. Carly left, and Nina asked Jax if she was wrong. Carly waited for the elevator, and Nelle came out. Sam told Kristina, something always got in the way of her and Jason being together, like Shiloh. Alexis said Sam went to prison for Kristina, and Kristina said, now Sam was on parole. If she stayed away from Jason, she’d be home free, but Sam can’t help herself. She had to break the rules and spice things up. Jason appreciated Sam when he wasn’t busy taking care of Carly and Sonny. Jason was always busy cleaning up their messes, while Sam was home taking care of the kids. Jason would die for Sam, but his first priority was Sonny and Carly. Nikolas said he had no right to ask Elizabeth to trust him, but to give him a chance. She had the soul of a true artist. She asked him to think about calling Spencer. Franco said Ava’s life would be more bearable without Nikolas, and she suggested he apologize to Elizabeth. They had a good marriage, and could make it better. Tell Elizabeth that all he cared about was making her happy. He said he was glad he could help, and Ava said he did, more than he knew.

Nelle asked if Carly was trash talking her to Nina. Carly said she’d been trying, but Nina seemed to think she and Nelle were friends. Too bad Nelle was going to betray Nina, like she’d done everyone else. Carly left, and in the office, Jax told Nina that Carly had some good points. Nelle listened outside the door, and Nina said she was aware of Nelle’s dark side, but she’d seen Nelle’s vulnerable side, and didn’t think it was an act. Jax disagreed, but Nina said maybe Nelle just needed a person to believe in her. Maybe she was that person. Nelle came in, and Jax couldn’t leave fast enough. Nelle thanked Nina for standing up for her, and Nina said, don’t make her regret it. Nelle said she wouldn’t, and had a big favor to ask. Wiley’s custody hearing was tomorrow, and she had no one to vouch for her. Carly made sure of that. Nelle said she was wondering, would Nina willing to testify on her behalf?

Finn asked Chase why he’d pretended he was sleeping with Sasha, and Chase said if Nelle got custody, Willow would never forgive herself. In the eyes of family court, Nelle and Michael were on almost equal footing, so Michael needed a wife who was equally devoted to Wiley, and Sasha had a problematic past. Finn said there was no body count, and no one was perfect, but Chase said Willow was close. However, when he broached the subject, Willow wouldn’t consider it. Finn said it was because Willow loved Chase, and he was doing her a disservice. Chase said, they were adults; Wiley was a defenseless child and needed protection. Sasha called Michael to let him know her things were out of the house, and she’d left the key. She guessed this was goodbye. He told her, goodbye, and Sasha flashed back to telling Chase they’d made a mistake, and should tell Michael and Willow the truth. They were the best thing to happen to her and Chase, and they could have the people they loved back. Chase said that would be awesome for them, but asked if she honestly thought Michael and Willow would be happier with them, or together with Wiley. Carly told Michael that his goodbye sounded final, and he said he and Sasha were over. At the MetroCourt, Willow got on the phone with Lucy to find a new place to live. Nelle appeared and said the rumor must be true; Chase broke another heart. Kristina told Molly to consider her options, but Molly said she needed to be completely honest and tell TJ everything. Sam told Brando that Molly and TJ were about to make it official, and if he made trouble for Molly, he’d be in a world of trouble with her. He asked if Molly knew she was getting involved, and she asked if he was going to run and tattle on her. He said he thought Molly would prefer to fight her own battles, and Sam said he was in no position to tell her about her sister. He said he got it, and she told him, stay away from Molly. If my sister got all up in my business like that, I’d be furious. Lulu ran into Crimson, asking where Charlotte was, and Nina asked her to give Valentin a chance to make it right. In Nina’s office, Charlotte asked if Valentin still loved her, and he said with all his heart, but it wasn’t that simple. She said they could run away right now, and no one could stop them.

Nelle said Chase had thrown Willow away, like he did with her and other women. He was a liar, a user, an expert manipulator, and seduced vulnerable women. Michael told Carly about finding Sasha and Chase together, saying that they’d felt jealous about Michael and Willow spending so much time together with Wiley. He said Carly had been right, but Carly thought she shouldn’t have gotten involved. Brando told Sam that TJ wasn’t going to hear anything from him. Sam said Molly thought she was single, and was heartbroken. Otherwise, she’d never have slept with someone like him. Ouch. She said he’d hurt Kristina’s feelings, saying people who joined cults were stupid. He said he’d apologized, and suggested she not butt into her sister’s business, since Molly was an adult. Sam said she’d always protect Molly, and he said, even if Molly didn’t want her to? Molly told Kristina that telling TJ was the right thing; they’re relationship was bult on honesty. Kristina thought Molly just wanted to make herself feel better at TJ’s expense. Valentin told Charlotte that she wouldn’t see him for a while, and Charlotte wondered if it was because she was bad, but he said, no; she was a good girl. She wanted things to be like they were when she was little, and it was just the two of them, back when he loved her. He said he’d always love her, and she asked why he wouldn’t fight for her. Valentin flashed back to Charlotte saying it wasn’t his fault; it was everyone else’s for lying, even Lulu’s, since she didn’t want him to be happy with Nina. He remembered Charlotte insisting that he’d find a way to get Windymere and Nina back, so they could live happily ever after. Nina asked Lulu why Charlotte was so upset, and Lulu said she thought Charlotte overheard her talking with Laura about Valentin not choosing to fight for custody. Laura thought Valentin was sincere, but Lulu didn’t trust him. Valentin came out with Charlotte, and Lulu told her that she couldn’t run off like that. Charlotte said she couldn’t let her papa leave. She knows he’d do anything for her, and she had to show him that she would too.

Willow said Nelle was trying to manipulate her, and she could go to hell. She knew who Nelle was, and if Brad was telling the truth about anything, it was that Nelle gave him the baby. Nelle didn’t want Michael to have him, and used Willow’s dead child like a prop to convince Michael their baby was dead. Nelle said Sasha was more Chase’s type anyway, and Willow said, goodbye. Finn asked Chase why he thought Willow and Michael would marry, and Chase said once the road was cleared, Willow would follow her heart to Wiley. Finn said he believed Chase’s intentions were honorable, and Chase said Sasha had been stand-up about it. She wasn’t happy either, but agreed that Wiley’s safety came first. Finn said Chase wasn’t going to like what he had to say. His intentions were good, but his methods stunk. He made a huge mistake. Valentin told Charlotte there was a right and wrong way to keep a family together, and they had to figure out the right way. They’d always be family, even if she didn’t see him. She kept his heart beating. Charlotte said Valentin kept her heart beating too. Lulu asked to speak to Charlotte alone, and they went into Nina’s office. She told Charlotte to be totally honest, promising that she wouldn’t be in trouble. Did she overhear Lulu and her grandma? Valentin thanked Nina, and she said she was sorry Charlotte was going through this. He said he wasn’t fighting Lulu for full custody, and Nina said she never thought he’d give up on his daughter. Sam told Brando that Molly saw the best in people, but she was more realistic. She said Brando had been locked up, and he said that made two of them, but he was free and Sam was on parole. It wasn’t about Molly. It was about Sam and Jason. Kristina asked Molly, if TJ had communicated with her, would she have slept with Brando? Molly said, of course (🍷) not, but TJ hadn’t ghosted her; he’d been taken against his will. Kristina said Molly had no way of knowing that, and asked if she slept with Brando to get back at TJ. Molly said, no. She’d been tired of feeling frustrated and angry, and Brando made her laugh; it felt good. Kristina said that was her point. It had nothing to do with TJ, and Molly had no reason to tell him. In that perfect soap moment that sometimes happens, TJ walked in, and said, tell him what?

Kristina told TJ that Molly had been telling her about their upcoming domestic partnership. TJ told Molly that he’d wanted to surprise her, and picked up her car. He wanted to prove to her that he’d do anything for them to stay together. Sam said she and Jason were none of Brando’s business, and he said like he and Molly were none of her business. How about if they both just minded their own business? Sam said he couldn’t dismiss her; she wasn’t done. He said they were done. Valentin told Nina that she knew he would never give up on his daughter, and she said, then fight stay to stay in Charlotte’s life. He said he was trying to do the right thing. He’d been a bad influence on Charlotte, and wanted to keep his distance. Nina said he could do that, or be a better man. Lulu asked why Charlotte didn’t speak to her first, and Charlotte said Lulu never wanted to talk about her papa to her; she always changed the subject. Michael told Carly that he loved Sasha, and had thought it was real. Carly said she thought it was too, but didn’t think Sasha was the woman Michael needed. Michael said Wiley had blindsided them, and Sasha wasn’t ready for an instant family. Either consciously or subconsciously, she got out. Carly swore Michael would get custody and find the woman he deserved.

Molly told TJ that Sam was picking up her car, but he said he’d seen Sam there. Molly said she had to run some errands, but he should stay at Charlie’s and eat. They declared their love for each other, and she left. Brando told Sam that he wasn’t there to cause trouble; it was the opposite. He was covering for Dev because Sonny wanted him to. She wondered if he had an ulterior motive, and he said if she was happy with her mechanic, they never had to cross paths again. Nina told Valentin to be a better man, and be the positive influence Charlotte needed, instead of proving you should walk away when the going got tough. Charlotte wasn’t going to see it the same way he did. He said he’d lived a life fueled by resentment, but she said he was capable of great love. He wasn’t so sure, and she said Charlotte would love him unconditionally for the rest of his life. The right thing he thought he was doing was just wrong. He said, of course (🍷) she was right. He’d tried being noble, and screwed it up. In Nina’s office, Charlotte said she’d heard Lulu say her papa was walking away from her for her own good, and said she was glad. Lulu said Charlotte heard part of a grown-up conversation that she didn’t understand. She wished Charlotte had  talked to her, but Charlotte said Lulu didn’t care how she felt. Michael told Carly that he couldn’t afford to make any more mistakes. Wiley’s custody was in limbo, and Nelle was unpredictable. Carly suggested he go for a run, and flashed back to giving Sasha a second chance, and telling her there were no third chances where her children were concerned. Chase told Finn, get out. It was hard enough for him. He loved Willow, and had to break her heart, tearing his own to shreds in the process, but it had to be done. Finn said it was a bad move to lie. Willow would have made up her own mind, and made her own choice. Chase said it was too late, but Finn told him to come clean, and there would be a chance to save his relationship. There was only one way to find out. He told Chase to let Willow decide how to help Wiley. It wasn’t fair that her decision should be based on a lie. Find her and fix it.

At the park, Michael flashed back to better times with Sasha. Sasha went to the MetroCourt bar, and Nelle zeroed in on her, saying Carly would destroy her for cheating on Michael. She said her lawyer wanted to talk to Sasha about being a character witness against Michael, and Sasha said she couldn’t believe what bitch Nelle warned. Nelle said she thought Sasha had been warned, and called her a backstabbing boyfriend stealing slut. On her way out, Nelle saw Carly, and said they’d have to talk soon. Valentin told Nina that it killed him to think Charlotte believed he was abandoning her. Nina told him to be the Valentin she knew he could be. Lulu and Charlotte came out of the office, and Lulu told Valentin they needed to talk. Molly showed up at the garage, and asked why Sam was there. Sam wondered why Molly was there, and Molly said she decided not tell TJ. Brando said he’d told her before that he wouldn’t say anything, and Molly told Sam to go on ahead. She wanted to talk to Brando.

Nina tried to distract Charlotte, who thought her parents were taking too long. Nina said whatever they decided, it was because they loved Charlotte. Charlotte said she understood, but didn’t have to like it. Nina said, no matter what, she’d be there for Charlotte. Lulu and Valentin came out, and Lulu said it was time to go home. Valentin said he’d pick Charlotte up tomorrow; he wasn’t going away – ever. Lulu said she and Valentin were going to be better. Charlotte deserved to be loved by both parents. TJ asked Kristina how Molly seemed. He thought she seemed a little shaky. Kristina said Molly had been heartbroken thinking TJ had ghosted her. She thought she’d lost him forever. He said good thing he got kidnapped, and Kristina said they had their whole lives ahead of them. She suggested they put the past behind them, and TJ said they had their whole future to look forward to. Molly apologized for Sam, but Brando said family was supposed to look out for each other. Brando said he’d told Molly that he wasn’t going to say anything, and Molly said she’d made her own choices. He didn’t take advantage, but it could never happen again. He said nothing happened between them, and she thanked him, adding she was sorry. He said nice knowing her.

Carly told Sasha that Michael blamed himself, but she blamed Sasha. Michael ran into Nelle, who asked if he was having a bad day. Chase contemplated finding Willow and fixing it, when Willow showed up. She said she was there to pick up her stuff. She breezed past him, and he said her name.

Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles

JoshA came by JoshF’s messy office to discuss the Razor house. JoshA said he’d gotten and offer, but the buyer was very well-known, and the caveat was that he’d represent them. In his interview, he said he’d had to sign an NDA. The buyer was a big deal, and it was the perfect property for them. This left JoshF with representing the buyer. JoshA said he was a little sad, but both buyer and seller needed equal representation. JoshA told JoshF to get his beauty sleep; they were going to negotiate tomorrow, and hopefully close the deal. JoshF said JoshA was dead to him, and it was a nice run while they had it. David James was showing homes to Brittnie and Jeremy, who were having their first child and in a time crunch, but still being very picky. James said that if you could get between your home and office in 30 minutes, that was heaven, and the couple owned a successful weed cannabis company in Venice. The buyer’s agent, Santiago, showed them a 4200 square foot, 6 bedroom, 5 bath house, priced at $3.795 million. Brittnie said she wasn’t sure it was their vibe; it was too traditional. James said at their price point, it was hard to find a modern home.

Scott Gillen had given Tracy a listing portfolio of 13 residences, between $60 and $100 million each. She’d told her team they had to pull something elegant together to pull in people, and had a week to do it. In her interview, Tracy said Scott was so anal about keeping his house clean, she was surprised he was allowing her to throw an event there. She told assistant Eleanor that, at the bare minimum, she would have 30 to 40 brokers. If it hit 100 to 150, she’d have a nervous breakdown. There would be a shoe check-in, where everyone would be given slippers. On the deck, they’d have incredible food and beautiful drinks, and she wanted delicate, nice touches. They wouldn’t be able to use the bathrooms either. In Tracy’s interview, she said she’d heard rumors on how difficult Scott was, and how most people didn’t last long. Everyone had discouraged her, but she was doing it. She’d worked her entire career to land a listing like this. It was a tight timeline with a challenging client.

David James showed Brittnie and Jeremy another house in Pacific Palisades, north of Santa Monica. He said it was a tight community in an iconic neighborhood, often used as a backdrop for TV shows. The house was partially staged, since they had been in escrow, but the buyer dropped out. I didn’t catch the square footage, but it was big, with 6 bedrooms, 7 baths, and a smart system. I thought of those people on Dr. Phil, who had been threatened through their own security camera, and I’m not so sure I want a smart anything. The kitchen was fabulous, as always, and I cried inside once again over my postage stamp sized what-passes-as-a-kitchen. James said it was the epitome of a modern, new construction, but not so kid friendly. In his interview, he said he didn’t think they realized how much baby proofing they would need to do. I loved the dual master closets (which you know she’ll take both of), but I cringed at the dual sink in the master bath. I’ve never been close enough to anyone to want to brush our teeth together. And that includes my husband. We have a dual sink in our upstairs bathroom, and all it does is take up too much space. James pointed out the canyon view, and said no one would ever block it. In his interview, James said his clients had no effing clue what comes next. He’d had his daughter at 26, and couldn’t look after himself, much less a baby. He said, Brittnie and Jeremy had an established business, and had no effing idea what was happening. He told them it wasn’t a ridiculous price, and the seller was willing to negotiate.

JoshF tried to convince assistant Wilie that he should change his name to Wilie Coyote. JoshA visited Tracy’s office, looking for booze. He was there late, preparing for his negotiation with JoshF about the Razor house. He figured Tracy was always good for some liquor. She told him that he’d better have a plan, and a backup plan if he was negotiating with JoshF. JoshA said he’d retire if he lost to JoshF. Tracy said she’d never had a client send back an event invite 32 times, but Scott had done it. In her interview, Tracy said he called all hours of night, and texted her at 10 pm, asking her to call him. JoshA told her that he’d had the listing two years ago for 10 days. It was going to destroy her. In Josh’s interview, he said Tracy could hold her own with anybody in any room, but his experience – the non-stop calls, impossible demands, and Scott being an ass in general – was unbearable. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel didn’t end. Tracy said she expected him to cancel the event at the last minute. Josh asked if he was invited, and she said her last list had been rejected, so she’d put him on the next one. In her interview, she said there were difficult people and bad people, and she hoped she wasn’t spending tens of thousands just for Scott’s ego.

The Joshes met at Canter’s, oldest Jewish deli in L.A. In his interview, JoshF said, they were two Jewish guys. Where else would they go to negotiate a deal? He said he’d found out JoshA’s buyer was Alicia Keys, and wasn’t going to go easy on him. JoshF told him, all cash and a quick close at $20 million. He’d tried to comp it, but it wasn’t easy. I understand this, since my house has been difficult to comp in the past. JoshF laughed, and said, give him something work with. JoshA said trophy houses went from $1800 to $4000 a foot, and it was a decent start. JoshF brought up that they’d been asking for more the last time around, but JoshA said, no matter what they’d been asking, that didn’t mean it was worth it. I get this too, since I have an eBay store, and everyone thinks their stuff is worth tons of money. It’s not. JoshF got on the phone with the seller, who said the house was one of a kind, but Josh said the seller was paying him a lot of money, and they had to show they were ready to negotiate, and had to be realistic. The seller told him, get it done. JoshA said he wasn’t messing around, and he’d gone straight to his client’s maximum. In JoshA’s interview, he said his client trusted him to get the best deal, and even though he could go to $23 million, he wasn’t leaving until he squeezed more out of JoshF. In JoshF’s interview, he said he knew he could squeeze more out of JoshA. JoshF told JoshA, $20.8 million; tell her to write another song. JoshA said they had a deal. In his interview, JoshA said he was apprehensive at first, but the more he and JoshF worked together, the more he liked it. They had good times and weird times, and maybe he’d miss JoshF a little bit, but he wasn’t getting carried away. They hugged, and JoshF left, sticking JoshA with the check.

In his interview, David James said Brittnie was due in one week, and they needed to close on the Palisades house yesterday. He and David met with broker Alex, and made an offer of $6.4 million (the asking price was $6.785). Alex said they had a higher offer before, but David said, it wasn’t real, and James said he was giving them a deal on a platter. The developer had three other houses going on the market, and in James’s interview, he said the seller would be a fool not to take the deal and run. James got the buyers to come up to $6.650 million with a 14 day close, but they also wanted the audio visual equipment included, and for the seller to install blackout shades in several rooms. They had a deal, and in his interview, James said, it wasn’t a moment too soon. A few days after they closed, Brittnie had a boy named Tiger. They showed a picture, and I thought it was a good name for him.

Tracy brought a port-a-potty to the New Castle, and in her interview, said she’d gone above and beyond for the launch, and spent $15K. She told the team, no food or drinks in the house, slippers for everybody, and no delivery trucks in the driveway. Party planner Michelle worked like a maniac, and Tracy said it needed to be perfect. Scott was watching everything. She told Michelle to have two golf carts in place at either end of the driveway, to make sure no one was ever waiting, and to make sure the guests got gift bags. Scott arrived, and griped about shoes being everywhere. While Tracy dealt with the hand-rolled sushi bar, Scott bitched about equipment being on his stucco. Tracy said they needed to plug in somewhere, and Scott said he wasn’t talking to her; he didn’t want to ruin her day. In Tracy’s interview, she said, as impossible as it felt to create the event, she did it. She told one of her team that it had to function like a normal effing event, or she was going to lose it. She only got one shot. She wanted to make sure the brokers’ clients got a digital key with all the information on a flashdrive. In her interview, she said the digital key was major. It was the only way for the brokers to deliver the material to their clients. Who knew if they’d ever be able to get in again? The Chairman of Douglas Elliman, along with his CEO, showed up, and Tracy said Chairman Howard was the only person she cared about seeing the house. She wanted him to be impressed, since he was connected to the richest people, and her greatest asset. We saw a clip of Tracy consulting Howard when she wanted to take a leap with her business. He told her if she was good at what she did, she’d be good at it no matter what. James and David arrived, and were told not to touch or lean on anything. David James said he’d heard of neurotic, but this took it to a whole new level. Then they discovered the Saran wrapped toilet, and he said there was particular, OCD, and completely effing nuts. He told Tracy the price was an ambitious number, and she’d need a very specific buyer. JoshA and brother Matt got there just as Scott was pulling out to leave.

Josh said they wanted a personal tour from Scott. In his interview, Josh said the last time he was there, he’d told Scott the house was outrageously priced, and a giant waste of his time and money. They’d told each other to f*** off. Scott said he wasn’t doing a tour, and Josh said he thought Scott was going to break the record for days on the market with a house. Inside, Tracy saw Josh talking with Scott, and James said he’d never seen her look nervous before. Matt argued with Scott about his price, and Josh asked how many times he offered to fire Tracy this week. Scott said, three, and Josh said he was getting soft, but he put agents through the ringer. Tracy couldn’t get outside fast enough, and JoshA said they were there to support their girl. He told her that they were proud of her for dealing with this sh*t. In Tracy’s interview, she said she was shocked Scott hadn’t kicked everyone out, and she was keeping her mouth shut. Scott left without further incident, and JoshA told David and James that he’d lasted a week with Scott. David James said some clients just weren’t worth it. Tracy said she separated her personal feelings about the client’s personality from the business deal. In her interview, she said it had been a roller coaster, but outside of JoshA and Matt, most of the people enjoyed the house. James David said he’d needed to pee for the last two hours.

Next time, a house that’s like a resort, JoshF hires some airplane advertising, Tracy has a party, and JoshA argues price with a client.

⏱ The Short Of It: Today’s Rerun Flashback Recap

Nina’s fashion shoot on a tropical island got rained out, so she got permission to shoot at the fine arts museum. Jax showed up at her office, saying she seemed like she was in crisis mode, and she told him that she’d had to go with Plan B. He asked if he could help, and she asked for a hug. He wondered why her assistant Nelle wasn’t helping, and asked if Nina had taken his suggestion and fired her. Nina said she’d sent need on some errands because she didn’t want her telling tales, especially to The Invader. Sasha had cheated on Michael, and since he was Sonny’s son, it was going to be news.

Alexis saw Valentin in the MetroCourt bar, and said he looked like he’d lost his best friend. He said he did, but they were better off without him. Lulu asked Laura why she thought Valentin gave up on Charlotte, and Laura flashed back to Valentin telling her that she was a good person, and he needed her to teach Charlotte to be good, since clearly he couldn’t. Lulu thought he was being manipulative, but Laura thought something was different after Violet’s birthday party. Lulu asked if Laura meant when she was advocating for Valentin, and Laura said she’d been advocating for Charlotte. Charlotte listened in on their conversation, and Laura said it sounded like Valentin was walking away from Charlotte for her own good. At the garage, TJ wanted to pay Molly’s bill, but told Brando there was something wrong. Molly, Kristina, and Sam were at Charlie’s, where Molly told her sisters about the accident she’d had. She said they’d just met the mechanic; it was Brando.

On the pier, Sonny told Cyrus to crawl back in the hole he came from, or there would be a war. Cyrus said he couldn’t go back to Seattle, and Sonny said that left only a nuclear option left. Cyrus said he had an offer that would work for both of them. Chase came home to an empty apartment, and flashed back to happier times with Willow. Finn showed up, and wondered why Chase wasn’t his annoyingly upbeat self. Chase said he’d cheated on Willow, she found out, and he’d lost her. Valentin told Alexis that he wasn’t planning on challenging Lulu for sole custody. Charlotte wasn’t little anymore, and had witnessed some regrettable behavior on his part. He was walking away, and not looking back.

Nina told Jax that the scandal could affect Michael’s custody fight for Wiley. Jax said, Sasha and Michael were happy together and crazy about each other. Nina said she’d warned Michael, but he’d been determined to believe Sasha was a fallen angel who needed him. She said Sasha was weak at best, and an opportunist at worst. Cyrus said he and Sonny could both do business, and not interfere with each other. After being in prison, he wanted the opportunity to put down roots. He enjoyed the fresh air and sunlight, and Port Charles was a friendly place. Jason asked if it was friendly of Cyrus to have a sniper on the roof watching them, and Sonny asked if this was how Cyrus wanted it to go down. Molly told her sisters that she’d slept with Brando, and Sam said she’d go pick up Molly’s car. TJ told Brando, the price seemed low, but Brando said it was a discount for first time customers; it kept them coming back. He said Molly had told him TJ had been in the hospital, and asked how TJ was doing. Laura told Lulu that Valentin thought Charlotte was better off without him, and Charlotte flashed back to telling Valentin that she’d seen what he did to Ava (he’d pushed her off the parapet before the wedding). Lulu was skeptical, but Laura thought Valentin was putting Charlotte’s well-being before his own. Alexis asked why Valentin had come to his decision, and remembered Sam calling her out about Neil, and saying she didn’t look up to Alexis anymore, and how she had a drink afterward. Nina told Jax that she didn’t miss Sasha, but missed who she’d thought Sasha was. Jax said if she wanted to look for her daughter, he’d be happy to help, but Nina said she’d put a lot of time and effort into standing on her own two feet. It was tempting, but it was like he was always offering her the best dessert, and she could only have it on special occasions.

Chase lied to Finn, telling him that Willow was baby-obsessed, and Sasha was actually present when they were together; she gave him her full attention. She felt the same way, and they’d slept together, and kept sleeping together. Finn said it was the biggest load of crap he’d ever heard, and to tell him what really happened. Lulu asked what Valentin had told Laura to convince her that he was putting Charlotte first, and Laura said it was the state he was in. She felt that he’d changed. Lulu said he was the same guy who had shot Nikolas, and Laura said, the brother Lulu couldn’t forgive for surviving. Lulu told her to stay on topic, and that it made no sense. Valentin would do anything for Charlotte. Laura said maybe he loved Charlotte that much, and was willing to walk away. Jax tried to get Nina to take the afternoon off, but Charlotte showed up. She screamed at Jax to get away from Nina, and said Nina had to get back together with her papa – today. Cyrus told Sonny, it was just a precaution in case Sonny had his own guy on the roof, but Sonny said he had all the back-up he needed, indicating Jason. Cyrus called his man off, and Sonny said he had an offer. Take it or leave it; one time only.

TJ said Molly had the accident before he’d gone to the hospital, but Brando said he’d run into Molly at Charlie’s that morning. Sam came into the garage, and TJ told her about the special discount Brando had given Molly. Lulu told Laura that she didn’t doubt Valentin loved Charlotte, but it was the way he showed it that she disagreed with. He ran off with Charlotte after the wedding didn’t happen, intending on kidnapping her. Laura said they didn’t know that, and he might have just wanted to get Charlotte away from what was going on. She thought he’d had a life-altering experience. Lulu said when Valentin came off as wise and compassionate, it was time to count the silverware. Laura wondered how they were going to tell Charlotte. Charlotte said Nina and Valentin belonged together, and Valentin wasn’t fighting for her anymore. Jax told her, dads were forever. Alexis told Valentin that she tried to help someone, and might lose her license because of it. Valentin said it wasn’t the end of the world; she was more than her job. She said now that they found out they weren’t related, she almost liked him. Who was he? He said he’d like to know that too. His phone rang, and it was Nina, asking him to come to her office. Charlotte was there, and needed her father. Chase acted offended, and Finn said his story was a doozie. He wasn’t so good with feelings and emotions, but even he could see Chase loved Willow. Normally, Chase was a walking Valentine’s Day card with a candy heart attached that said something embarrassing. He said Willow had seen what Chase wanted her to, and Chase asked why he’d do something like that. Finn told Chase to clue him in; why had he pushed Willow away? Kristina told Molly not to be hard on herself, but Molly wondered how she and TJ could have a future, when she fell into bed with the first person who came along when she didn’t hear from him. Kristina said Molly hadn’t known if TJ was out having wild and cray sex too. Molly said she wasn’t going to rationalize having a one-night stand, and knew what she had to do.

After TJ left, Sam said she didn’t know Brando, but knew why he came to Port Charles, and that he’d brought baggage with him. She told him, forget about Molly; it never happened. Jax told Charlotte that her dad loved her, and explained that dads had a special handbook for daughters, since daughters had special powers over them. Valentin arrived, and Nina told him Charlotte was afraid he didn’t want her anymore. Sonny told Cyrus that he could live in Port Charles, but had to conduct his business elsewhere. Cyrus couldn’t move his merchandise through Sonny’s territory, and couldn’t touch Sonny or his associates. Cyrus said Sonny had a large territory, and such deference would be expensive. Sonny said, take it or leave it; it wasn’t his problem. Cyrus said, fine, they had a deal, and they shook hands. I’d forgotten how much I like Jeff Kober in this role.

Lulu and Laura hunted for Charlotte. Nina called Lulu, and told her that Charlotte was at her office. Charlotte was physically fine, but she was upset. Valentin was with her now. Lulu said she’d be right there. Valentin told Charlotte that he loved her, and Charlotte said she’d heard Laura and Lulu saying he wanted to leave her. Valentin said he never wanted to leave her, but wanted her to know the difference between right and wrong. She said if he loved her, he would take her away, and begged him take her wherever he was going. Jax went to the MetroCourt bar, and sat with Alexis, saying he needed her level head. Charlotte had seemed afraid Valentin was leaving her. Alexis said Valentin had made a decision about his and Charlotte’s future. His life had been knocked off course, and he wanted to do right by Charlotte, even if he suffered. Finn said Chase was laying it on thicker than Violet put hot fudge on ice cream at a sundae bar. Chase said he’d tell Finn the truth if Finn promised to keep it between them. Finn said he would, as long as it was the truth. Chase said he needed Willow to think he’d cheated on her so she’d marry Michael. Molly told Kristina that she needed to be completely honest. She was going to tell TJ everything. Brando told Sam that he hadn’t even known Molly had a boyfriend until after they’d slept together, and she hadn’t done anything she hadn’t wanted to. Sam asked he wanted, and he said to run his garage, if she’d leave and let him do it. She said if he tried to make trouble for Molly, he’d have a world of trouble with her.

Cyrus and his bodyguard went to the MetroCourt, where Cyrus had been thrown out recently. Cyrus said it had been too easy. Sonny thought he’d lowered his guard, and was going to kill him, but he didn’t play by Sonny’s rules. He was going to start by getting rid Jason. At the pier, Sonny told Jason that he was going to let Cyrus get comfortable, and when Cyrus stopped looking for Sonny out of the corner of his eye, he would take him out.

Below Deck Mediterranean

I got confused for a second. I saw Bugs and thought, is this a rerun?

When we last left, Jessica had smashed her finger in a door the day before charter.

Jessica tells Bugs what happened, and hopes it isn’t broken. Bugs asks if she felt a snap, and Jessica says, yeah. Bugs radios Captain Sandy, who tells her to send Jess to the hospital, and Bugs puts her in a taxi.

It’s time for the preference sheet meeting, and Captain Sandy says primary Bernardo is a real estate mogul from Miami, who’s bringing along some entrepreneur and model friends for one of their birthdays. There are also some vegans in the group, and in his interview, Kiko says he hates cooking vegan. He misses the protein. He’s from Brazil, and likes meat and fish. Bernardo wants a mariachi band, who plays as they approach in a tender while the guests are having dinner. Kiko says, they look chill, but Captain Sandy says, they’re from Miami; they’re not chill. Jess returns, and tells Rob her finger is fractured. They hug. In Jess’s interview, she says she doesn’t know if she’ll be able to keep her job, but she hopes so. Her other fingers work good. She shows Hannah and Malia her splint. She tells them when she’d gotten breast augmentation, she still worked, and Hannah says she hopes Jess’s hand heals as quickly as her boobs. Jess tells the captain, it’s a hairline fracture. Captain Sandy tells her to talk to Hannah, and see if she can figure it out. They may have to bring someone else in, but she’ll see how it goes. In Hannah’s interview, she says she needs a third stew with two hands, but Jess will have to do this charter. Bugs tells Malia she thinks Pete says things for shock value, but it’s gotten inappropriate. Malia says he crossed the line, and suggests Bugs chat with the captain. Jess tells Rob, she hopes this doesn’t affect her job, but if it does, the captain will have to find someone else. They kiss.

In the crew mess, Kiko looks at the sheets and sees dairy/gluten free, and dairy/gluten free vegan. He says he needs to be confident, or he’ll mess up. The captain calls Hannah to the bridge. She says it’s obvious they have to get through next charter, and Hannah hasn’t had a fair shake. She tells Hannah to let her know how it’s going. At least she’s got Bugs. Hannah says, yeah, and her lack of enthusiasm is obvious. Hannah tells Kiko that she doesn’t want Jess fired. She’s afraid she’ll get another effing Lara, and she doesn’t trust Bugs. She asks if Kiko has her back, and he says, don’t worry.

Four hours before charter. Hannah has a pre-charter meeting with the stews. She says, obviously, the charter is going to have some challenges, and Bugs says she doesn’t mind helping. In Hannah’s interview, she says, one good thing about Bugs is, she knows what she’s doing. Hannah can let Bugs pick up the slack and manage Jess. They don’t need more drama. She tells Malia, obviously, Jess can’t do service, and asks if she could help. Bugs tells the captain that she had a strange encounter with Pete. She thought he said certain things for shock value, like how he talks about women, but after the charter in the crew mess, he was rude in a sexual way. We flash back to him telling Bugs about how he likes to bang stews. She says he was slightly threatening, but she’s not accusing him of anything. He did nothing physically, but they live in close quarters, and she’s concerned for the girls. Captain Sandy tells Bugs, for her to say she’s uncomfortable means something. She asks if Bugs is all right with the next charter, and Bugs says she just doesn’t want it to happen again. The captain says she’ll speak to Pete, and calls him to the bridge.

The captain tells Pete that she’s seriously considering letting him go because of what she’s heard. The way he talks about women and treats them is not okay. She tells him, this is serious, and he admits he might have said inappropriate things. He’s too much of an open book. Apparently, Pete doesn’t understand what that expression means. Captain Sandy says, it’s not okay out in the world, much less on the boat. He needs to get his head on right, and consider what comes out of his mouth. He’s lucky she’s not leaving him on the dock. She tells him, just do your job.

Jess forgets to turn on the vacuum cleaner before vacuuming. Hannah calls for the mariachi band, explaining they need to be playing as they approach the boat while the guests are having dinner. Maliah calls Pete to meet her on deck. She tells him, this isn’t going to be easy, but he’s no longer the lead deckhand. She needs to put her foot down. It’s impacting the whole crew. They have a professional code, and the things he says are vulgar. He has a female captain, a female bosun, and a female chief stew, and he’ll have to respect that. His ego and cockiness are putting the safety of the vessel in jeopardy, and she’s baffled as to why she has to explain this to someone who calls themselves a captain. In her interview, she says, from the beginning, he talked back and didn’t listen. This is the next step. She tells Pete consider this his one, two, third warning. She’s not putting up with it. He says he understands, but we’ll see. The provisions come in.

Pete asks Bugs to meet him on the bow. Malia tells Rob and Alex that Pete is no longer lead deckhand. She thinks it’s the best decision for the team, and Rob agrees. She says she doesn’t want Pete to feel left out, but he needs to learn a lesson. Pete apologizes to Bugs, saying if he came at her any way, he didn’t mean to make her uncomfortable. Bugs says, in the beginning, she thought it was shock humor, but it got extreme. He’d said he felt she was flirting with him, but she’s just a friendly person. They can move past what happened. In her interview, she says she’s all about second chances. The chance to redeem yourself is important. Thank you. Fairness is key, even if it’s Pete. Captain Sandy calls the crew to the dock. Jess fumbles at buttoning her shirt, and asks Rob to help her. He says, damn, girl, and she says it’s the first time he’s buttoning it, instead of unbuttoning it. Hannah puts Jess’s deodorant on her. Everyone gets on dock.

Captain Sandy says she can tell already the guests will be so much fun. She welcomes them, saying there’s going to be great weather, and the crew is going to show them an amazing time. In Hannah’s interview, she says, they look interesting and fun. She’s hopeful that she won’t have to bring out any of her non-existent Spanish. She gives the guests the tour. In Malia’s interview, she says she needs someone else to step up. She’s giving Alex the responsibility, and hopes he can run with it. It’s a broken hope. Hannah says they’ll have lunch on the water, and set up the beach club. Guest Joel admires Kiko, and Hannah tells Kiko, somebody has a crush on him already. They’re off the dock, and Captain Sandy says, amazing job. Malia gives props to the deckhands as well. Jessica is looking for lemons, and asks Kiko if he has any. Bugs says, that’s Hannah’s responsibility, and wonders if Hannah ordered them. She tells Kiko not to give them any of his; they need to take care of themselves. They’ll use limes. Bernardo asks Hannah if he can get some mushrooms on the side, and if someone can unpack for him. Alex tells Pete, be a man about it, and Pete says, it’s all good. Watch out for Professional Pete. It’s a side they haven’t seen yet. The guests take loads of picture for social media. Hannah asks Jess to unpack Bernardo’s suitcases, and asks Kiko for the mushrooms. Bernardo goes to his cabin, and tells Jess to just unpack the one suitcase. Hint: it’s not the one she’s already unpacking. In her interview, she wonders how he doesn’t feel guilty. She’s got a broken finger, and she’s unpacking for him. Is it really necessary? She tosses his stuff on bed.

In his interview, Pete says he got kicked in the teeth a little bit; he needed it. All he can do now is bring out Professional Pete. It’s not always Party Pete. I gag. This guy could give Jax a run for his money in a few years as worst human being on earth. Hannah calls the yacht provisioner, and asks for lemons. Bugs brings Bernardo his mushrooms. Ron kisses Jess in the laundry. Hannah says, these people are going to be a nightmare. Kiko tells Hannah about Bugs claiming she was responsible for the lemons. In Hannah’s interview, she says it’s Bugs’s second charter, and already Bugs is throwing her under the bus. Kiko tells her to open her eyes, and she says she sleeps with one eye open. Malia tells the deckhands, once they have anchorage, get everything out in thirty minutes. Guest Giancarlo is picky about his juice, and Bugs concocts something for him. Giancarlo pronounces it amazing. They drop anchor in an unbelievably beautiful cove. In Malia’s interview, she says Pete is taking his demotion well. She doesn’t know if it’s genuine or he’s playing the long game. She’ll see how he holds up. She tells the guests the rules for the jet skis. No surprise, they don’t listen, and get way too close to some paddleboarders. Jess does some ironing. In her interview, Hannah says Bugs’s over-enthusiasm drives her up a wall. If Bugs thinks she can do Hannah’s job, then do it. The deckhands have the usual struggle with the slide. In Kiko’s interview, he said he hates cooking vegan; it’s not his style. He’s going to try his best to make the guests happy. They guests are served ceviche tropical, with quinoa salad for the vegans. It all looks good to be. Bugs says she’ll just keep feeding them. Bernardo wants more mushrooms, and Kiko says vegan cooking is a challenge. He makes a pan of mushrooms, but Bugs, a vegetarian, says they’re too chewy. He says it’s the quality of mushrooms, but it’s all he has.

Bugs makes up something about the mushrooms not coming in. In the galley, Kiko says, pressure, pressure, pressure. One of the guests asks Jess about her injury. Having had the same thing, the guest says it pains her to see Jess like that. In her interview, Bugs says, Kiko is a hot mess. She feels bad, but it’s just the job. The yacht provisioner calls, and says she can deliver mushrooms today. In the crew mess, Bugs tells Malia, what a day, and Malia says, it’s only up from there. Bugs says the thing with Pete turned into the biggest drama, and Malia says maybe he’ll recognize he has a problem. They need to give him a chance. Hannah asks Kiko about the vegan main course, and he says, the mushrooms need to get there on time. If they don’t, he’s screwed. Everyone gets ready for dinner. Guest Edwin asks Hannah to press his jacket, which is a rumpled mess. Hannah buttons Jess up for dinner. Captain Sandy tells the crew, good job; they worked hard today. The guests gather in the lounge, and everyone makes a fuss over Bernardo’s suit, but I don’t see it. I guess he’s paying for the trip. In Jess’s interview, she says she can’t dress herself, and has to figure out how to hold drinks, but she has Rob. She’s got this. Rob brings the drinks upstairs for her. Pete tells Malia, he’s sorry they started off wrong, and she says, it happens; learn from it. I don’t know what Bugs has going on with the table décor, but it has fairy lights, so I love it. A guest gripes about the time, and Bugs’s interview, she says Kiko is under a lot of pressure, but he brings some of it on himself. She’s keeping the drinks flowing and the party going. It’s part of what they do. The mushrooms arrive, and Kiko gets to work. It’s nearly 10 pm by the time the guests are seated, when dinner should have been served at 9:30. In her interview, Bugs says there was a set time, but it’s come and gone. It’s hard to cover this up. In Kiko’s interview, he says, timing is hard on the galley. His mind is messed up over the mushrooms, and he feels like sh*t. Everyone except the vegans get their meals, and Kiko works frantically. In Captain Sandy’s interview, she says she’s confused. The last dinner was 72 plates, and it was incredible. Now she’s at a loss. Kiko says mushroom teriyaki is an art, and comes up personally with the vegan meals. The guests chant his name, and the food is declared delicious. Malia puts Pete on anchor watch, and explains the monitor. In his interview, he says he needs to be professional. He let the crew down, and he needs them to believe in him again.

The guests are anxious for the next course, and Hannah asks Malia for help serving. Everyone says the fish entrée is perfect, but Bernardo says his is raw, and asks for it to be cooked more. Bugs brings it back to the galley, and Kiko says, f***, aye, aye, aye. He asks her to apologize for him, and she says she already did, but she’ll do it again. In his interview, Kiko says he messed up. He knows Bugs is helping him, but everything is on him. Jess cleans the cabins. Joel says, Kiko, my pal. Jess and Rob kiss, and she says she wants to snuggle. Rob says he’ll ask Kiko, since they share a cabin.

The guests are still hungry, and guest Victor says they want more food. Hannah goes back to the galley, and says he needs to work on portion sizes; the guests are still hungry, and want more everything. Some of the guests start jingling some kind of doodad they have like they’re ringing a bell for the help. In Kiko’s interview, he says he feels like sh*t. It’s like he’s not good enough. He tells Bugs, he doesn’t understand it. He just served 72 plates, and today is the worst day of his life. Bugs says, we all have those days, and tells Hannah that Kiko is down. In Hannah’s interview, she says she hopes he pulls himself out of his funk. He’s the chef, and they kind of need him.

Next time, Rob says there’s tension on the boat, the food is late again, Captain Sandy says she doesn’t see Hannah leading, Jess and Bugs argue, and Captain Sandy talks to Kiko.

This is starting to get just a little weird. Is it me, or are there an inordinate amount of people dying? And I don’t mean just from the virus. I only knew her work on Glee, but I liked her outspokenness.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

 

General Hospital

The Flashback hand we were dealt today was January 6th, 2011. I was on a phone call for the first half, but I’ll piece that together as best I can.

A bit of the backstory. Because of a mix-up, Maya and Ethan were married, but they didn’t live together, and Edward had offered them a million dollars on their first anniversary. Steven Webber had organized a ski trip, and the bus had an accident. Olivia and Morgan were badly hurt; Kristina was hurt; Michael had been slightly injured; and Kristina’s friend Ali and the driver had been killed. Brenda had killed Anton/Aleksander an international crime lord’s son, and Dante helped cover it up. The crime lord Theo was also a lawyer, and had weaseled his way into working for Diane. Not coincidentally, Sonny ended up hiring him for Dante and Brenda. D’oh! Which brings us to today’s Flashback.

Diane thought it should be a slam-dunk that Brenda shot Anton, but Theo said her ties to Sonny cast doubt on her. Spinelli came into the office and sneezed, freaking Theo out. Spinelli said his hygiene was above reproach, and Theo said that kind of thinking led to pandemics. (Did they search through every episode to find this reference?) Diane hustled him out, saying she’d check in with him later at his office. (He was working with Sam at the time.)

OG Edward talked to Maya and Ethan about their future, and Maya thought Edward was planning on roping Ethan into the family business, which Ethan wasn’t keen on. He told them they’d have to live together though, and they planned to move into the Quartermaine mansion. Edward said Tracy and Luke were on their honeymoon, so they’d have the run of the place. That was not to be, as Tracy came back, saying, Luke decided to skip the honeymoon and go straight to grand larceny.

Terrell Jackson saw Robin at the hospital, and said he had an appointment with Steven Webber. Robin said they’d been swamped because of the bus accident, but Steven came by with Patrick, introducing Patrick to Terrell. It turned out Terrell was a pediatric doctor who had helped with the bus crash. Terrell said he was there to interview for a position at the hospital. When Steven left with Terrell to do the interview, Terrell and Lisa gave each other the soap eye from across the room. Patrick told Robin that he was frustrated because he wasn’t able to save Ali. Robin told him that he wasn’t God, and Patrick said he respected what she had to say. She wondered why he was being so nice (they were separated at the time). Patrick asked Robin out on a date, but she took a raincheck because she wanted to be cautious.

Kristina was still in the hospital, and Sonny came by her room. She told him that she felt responsible for Ali’s death, since she’d pressured Ali to go on the trip. Sonny said he knew what it was like to lose a friend, and told her about Stone. Kristina admitted that she’d wanted Ali to come because she wanted Michael to see that Ali was better for him than the girl he was seeing, who was too old for him. Michael visited Morgan, who had a broken leg, and Morgan wanted Michael to help him get Carly to stop worrying. Carly overheard him and said that wasn’t going to happen. Morgan thanked Michael for saving him, and Michael was all humble. Carly said they should let Morgan get some rest. In the hallway, Carly said she sensed there was more to Michael and Abby’s relationship than being friends. Michael accused her of being judgmental, and said she didn’t get to choose who he hung around with.

Theo went to Morgan’s hospital room, introducing himself as the lawyer who was going to protect Dante and Brenda. He intimated that Sonny was ignoring Morgan’s present situation of a broken tibia. He told Morgan that his son had been killed, and it opened his eyes to the temporary nature of life. He said, no one has as much time as they think they do, and no one’s loved ones are safe. Morgan said his father spent a lot of time and money keeping his kids safe, and Theo said it was fortunate Morgan didn’t get hurt worse in the bus accident. He was sure Morgan’s father would be devastated if he lost Morgan.

Edward said Luke was up to his old tricks, and Maya said, Luke and Tracy’s marriage barely lasted a week. Tracy said she wasn’t divorcing Luke, she just wasn’t saving him. She thought Prague was a perfect place for a honeymoon, but he’d thought it was the perfect place for a diamond heist. He tried to steal a fortune without warning her, and she hoped he got caught. Edward said you could steal scotch and diamonds, or pursue a lucrative legal way get what you want. He suggested he teach Ethan, who said he’d think about it. Dante was at an unconscious Olivia’s bedside, when Theo showed up. He told Dante that he was the lawyer who was hired to defend him and Brenda. They would have to answer for killing a man. Sonny arrived and told Theo, not now, and to leave Dante alone.

At the hospital, Steven Webber hired new doctor Terrell on a trial basis. He could see if he liked the position, and it would give him time to think. Robin introduced herself, and welcomed him. He asked for a lay of the land, and who to avoid, but Robin said she couldn’t be objective. He said, no matter where you went, somebody was bad news, and Lisa walked in. Theo told Sonny that Dante and Brenda would be charged for wrongful death, but Sonny said Dante’s mother might die, and Theo’s timing wasn’t good. Theo said they didn’t have the luxury of time. Things would proceed regardless. Sonny said he paid Theo to do what he needed him to, and he said he was the man who could save Sonny’s son and fiancé. Gratitude might be in order. It smelled of collusion and a cover-up; like Dante had used his badge to help Brenda get away with murder. That was the case the other side would make, and Dante needed to cooperate. Sonny said Dante was wondering if his mother would live or die. He paid Theo a fortune to do what he needed done, and unless they were dragging Brenda off in chains, leave his son alone. Theo understood, and said they had more in common than Sonny realized.

Patrick congratulated Terrell, and Terrell said he was going to be in pediatrics. Maybe Patrick could give him a rundown of the staff. Patrick suggested he not mess with head nurse Epiphany. He told Terrell that Robin was a researcher extraordinaire, and don’t mess with her family. Robin said Patrick never met a patient didn’t want to cut, but his skills surpassed his ego. Terrell thought it was cool that they were married and on staff together, but Robin said they were separated. Terrell apologized, but she said he had no way of knowing.

Michael came into Kelly’s and saw his more-than-a-friend Abby. She said she’d heard about he bus crash, and that it had people from GH on it. She felt bad because she’d convinced him to go. She said she ran to the hospital, since she couldn’t rest until she knew he was okay. He told her Ali didn’t make it. When Abby showed up at the hospital, he’d just been thinking about her, and there she was. She said she needed to know he was alive. She hadn’t realized it, but she sat next to Michael’s father. She hoped it was okay that she told Sonny they were friends.

Carly said she and Sonny needed to talk about Michael. He asked if she was worried about how Michael had handled the crash, but she said it was his new friend Abby. Abby was ten years older than Michael, and he was tutoring her in math. She saw them hug in the ER, and it was a hug hug. She was older, and she was serious about him. Johnny came by, and wondered why Olivia had been going on a ski trip, and Carly said she’d been asked to go at the last minute.

Lisa told Terrell to follow her, and when they were alone, he said she wasn’t winning at being Miss Popularity. She said she’d made mistakes, but there was plenty of blame to go around. He asked why he was there, and Lisa said she wanted him to seduce Robin. Not that she’s not lovely, but the words seduce and Robin just don’t fit in the same sentence for me. Diane went to Spinelli’s office, and asked why she was there. He said he was haunted by her prose; she was a dynamic wordsmith. He couldn’t imagine she was content doing legal briefs. She said she’d shelved her creative writing since college, and he said he had an offer where she could fully express herself. She could chronical The Jackal, PI. She laughed, and asked if he was serious. Johnny came by Olivia’s room, and Dante asked if he wanted to spend time with her. Johnny told Dante that Olivia had broken up with him because of the life he’d chosen to lead. When she woke up, she’d be happy to see Dante. They shouldn’t take their mothers for granted. Dante told Olivia that her ex didn’t appreciate her, and he hoped she didn’t think her son was like that. He cried, and Olivia patted his head. She asked him what was the matter, and he said, nothing.

Abby told Michael that his father was a nice man. She was worried and nervous, and he’d asked who she was waiting for, and she told him, Michael. Small world. Michael said he was glad she got to meet Sonny. She said he figured out that she was a dancer quickly; he told her that he’d run a strip club. Michael said Sonny understood, and wanted Michael to do what made him happy. Abby asked what that was, and he said, right now, it was sitting with her. Having breakfast would be even better.

Carly told Sonny that Michael and Abby were more than friends, and Abby was the last person Michael should be friends with. She must be after his money. Sonny said she wasn’t; she had a job. He met her at the hospital when they were both waiting, and she seemed nice. Carly couldn’t believe Sonny was okay with it, and he said what he wasn’t okay with was Michael hanging out at Bond’s. Carly asked if Abby was a stripper, and Sonny said she was a dancer. Carly said, this is not happening.

Dorinda is at her house in the Berkshires. She calls Sonja, and gets voicemail. She tells Sonja she’s at Bluestone Manor; it’s all done. It’s cozy, and Sonja can have her own room. In Dorinda’s interview, she says, it’s the start of a new life. In the Berkshires, she has the opportunity to exhale. She’s excited to show the girls. It’s her house, and she made it through. She tries Leah next, and the mailbox is full. She calls LuAnn, gets voicemail; ditto Ramona, and she says she’s feeling like a loser, She calls Elyse and again gets voicemail. She says, loser. It’s official. Elyse visits Sonja, and says she needed to regroup after the Halloween party. She’s surprised Sonja remembered it. In her interview, Elyse says, it’s a small town, and Sonja was one of the wild girls running around the East Side. She was a wild girl running around on the periphery, and that’s how they met. Sonja shows Elyse some old pictures, and her Blue Book. We flash back to the night of 1985 is over, and in her interview, Sonja explains that there’s a Blue Book for every major city, and no one can take that away from her. I actually had one of those once. My sister and I snuck into an abandoned house, looking for treasures – well, she was actually looking for old doorknobs – and that’s what I came away with. Elyse asks what Sonja remembers best about the Halloween party. Sonja says she was home with her glam team, it had been a busy week, they had a kiki, and she came in hot and on fire. Elyse wonders what was going on with Ramona, and Sonja says, Dorinda blocked her. Elyse says someone told her Ramona was crying, but Ramona wouldn’t let Elyse sit next to her, and she had to leave; Elyse wasn’t her friend. In Elyse’s interview, she says she feels horrible, but she doesn’t understand it, so she’s angry now. Ramona is not her friend. Sonja says she knows what Ramona has been through and she’s reactive, but Ramona has to understand not to treat people like that. Elyse tells her about Ramona coming over, and making a show of taking her swim cover-up off in front of Elyse’s husband, and then giving him a shoulder massage. Elyse says if she did that to Ramona, Ramona would punch her out. Sonja says she’s getting creepy curly sensations.

Leah meets LuAnn for shopping, and in her interview, she says she’s hungover AF, and LuAnn looks like a fresh flower. Ramona joins them, and LuAnn asks, what happened last night? We flash back to Dorinda calling out Ramona. Ramona says she loves Dorinda, and loves having Dorinda in her life, but Dorinda is mourning her husband’s death for the first time. She went straight to John, and she’s mad at Richard for dying. LuAnn thinks Ramona rubbed her the wrong way, and Leah thinks it was the Larry Scott thing. LuAnn says, Dorinda thought Ramona wanted them there for pictures, so she could get a party for free. Leah says, it looked like Ramona was using them, and ignoring that possibility, Ramona says maybe Dorinda was mad because it wasn’t her birthday party, and she didn’t have friends to invite to one. In Ramona’s interview, she says she has a whole world without them, and they resent it. The women try on jackets, and Leah says Rob is under the weather, so she’s keeping Kier at her house. In Leah’s interview, she says, it’s hard to keep up with these women. LuAnn says she wants to have a good time in the Berkshires, and suggests they make the trip about having a good time. It was a disaster last night; they were at each other’s throats. Ramona says, not her, and LuAnn says she was pushing Dorinda’s buttons. Ramona says, Dorinda is a loose cannon, and she doesn’t know what sets Dorinda off. It’s scary. LuAnn tells her that Dorinda says the same thing about her, and Ramona brought Missy to the party, which hurt LuAnn’s feelings. She needs to work it out with old friends.

Dorinda tells housekeeper Len not to wait on the women. She makes Len practice, using roleplaying. In Dorinda’s interview, she says, Ramona always has an agenda. She figures out how to look her best while making everyone else look worse. The end point is me, me, me. She tells Len not to smile. She’s the soldier in charge. Sonja and Leah arrive, but the door isn’t open and there’s no answer. Dorinda is busy inside, telling Len she found an oyster plate, and there’s so much stuff she could open up her own store in the house. She says when she goes, it will probably all get thrown away. Sonja and Leah go through the back door, and surprise Dorinda, who’s in the kitchen, and happy that they’re early. In Leah’s interview, she says, the Upper East Side way of country living is not the way outsiders rough it. Dorinda said she’d moved all of Rich’s stuff downstairs when he died, and it was all filled with water when she was flooded. It feels like a different energy now. She used to be afraid to be there by herself at night, but now she’s more alive and awake. Leah tells her, everything is beautiful, and Dorinda says she loves the kitchen; it’s her retreat. We flash back to her making it nice. When she shows them the dining room, we return to Sonja screaming, don’t touch the Morgan letters! Dorinda says she got a new rug, and we revisit Coco pooping on the old one. She says Leah is in the Moroccan room, and in her interview, Dorinda says she doesn’t even go in there. She might as well keep it locked. Must be nice to have a house that big. As long as you have a Len.

In the car, Ramona tells LuAnn that she doesn’t know why Dorinda is angry. She loses it for no reason. In Ramona’s interview, she says, Dorinda gets angry, blows up, feels bad about it, and then pretends nothing is wrong. She’ll give Dorinda some beautiful flowers, and move on. She tells LuAnn that she’s really hurt, even though Dorinda didn’t mean it. LuAnn says she should have a separate birthday party for Dorinda, and Ramona says she and LuAnn think alike. Hardly. Even LuAnn isn’t that self-centered and man hungry. LuAnn says Ramona is getting sharper in her old age. Her vocabulary needs work, but what would they do without Ramonaisms? As they come toward the house, LuAnn remarks on what a gorgeous day it is. Ramona calls the foliage, foilage. When they get inside, LuAnn says she loves the carpeting, and Ramona says, it’s so rich looking. Ramona gives Dorinda the flowers, and says she wants to make peace. In her interview, Ramona says she’s willing to let it go. Dorinda is going through something, and she’s mad at life. She feels like life has cheated her. Ramona gets very excited at having thought of this theory. Dorinda says she’ll give them a quick tour, then they’ll have a great lunch. LuAnn is once again put in the fish room. It’s been totally redecorated, but Dorinda has put the shark in the bed. LuAnn says she gets to sleep with sharks, then makes out with it. In LuAnn’s interview, she says Dorinda has done a lot of work to make it look new and improved. It’s Bluestone Manor on steroids. Dorinda says she has a friend for Ramona too, and the swordfish has been placed in Ramona’s bed. In Ramona’s interview, she says she believes in positive energy. If she’s positive, Dorinda will be positive back. Yeah. Until the alcohol is brought out.

In the kitchen, Leah shows LuAnn a social media post from Elyse. She’s posted her picture, writing, it’s all fun and games until someone pisses me off. Leah wonders what she means, and LuAnn says, Ramona. Dorinda says, Ramona blocked Elyse, then corrects herself, saying Ramona unfollowed her. LuAnn says, those are two different things. In her interview, LuAnn says, Dorinda knows Elyse has an issue with Ramona, and she’s one more pawn in Dorinda’s game of chess. Leah says, with friends like Ramona, who needs enemies? Dorinda gets ready to serve Asian chicken for lunch, and the women sit at the table. Elyse arrives, and in Dorinda’s interview, she says, Ramona has a rule book Elyse has to follow, and she’s not following it, so she’s out. Leah announces that she slept with a guy who had one ball. It was a one and done. In her interview, Dorinda says, it feels like a release. The women have heard about what she’s been doing with the house, and now they can see she actually did it. She asks Elyse if she’s talked to Ramona, and Elyse says she will at some point. Ramona wants to pretend it didn’t happen, but it did. She felt betrayed. Dorinda says she would have been heartbroken. In her interview, LuAnn says, Dorinda won’t miss an opportunity to watch Ramona squirm. Elyse says she wasn’t invited to Omar’s (the party Ramona left LuAnn’s party for).

Ramona says she was going out with other girls she hasn’t seen in twelve years. Elyse says, it’s a club. What difference would it have made if she’d joined them? In Elyse’s interview, she says, Ramona has a reputation of blowing up friendships, and making people feel insignificant. That was accomplished. Ramona tells Elyse to lower her voice, claiming it triggers her about her father, even though Elyse isn’t talking that loudly. She suggests she and Elyse have a conversation in the other room. In Leah’s interview, she says Ramona played the victim in Rhode Island. We flash back to Ramona accusing Leah of triggering her. Ramona tells Elyse that she should be on her own, and develop friendships organically. In her interview, Leah says she doesn’t like gaslighting, and she’s not letting Elyse be another victim. She sits with Elyse and Ramona, and the other women follow. So much for privacy. Ramona says if she has a conflict, she prefers dealing with it one on one. She doesn’t get involved, or take sides. Elyse says they talk all the time, and now Ramona has a problem with her friendship. In Dorinda’s interview, as LuAnn predicted, she says she’s enjoying watching Ramona squirm. She has nowhere to go. Ramona says she’s sorry Elyse feels this way, and Elyse says she isn’t sorry. Ramona says it’s not her job to make Elyse comfortable. Nice. Elyse says it’s Ramona’s job to treat her with respect. She couldn’t even answer when Elyse asked if she was a good friend. Ramona says she’d had a major altercation with Dorinda, who’s narcistic. Dorinda corrects her, saying, narcissistic, for which I’m grateful. Elyse says Ramona compartmentalizes, and Ramona says she’s not talking in front of everyone. She starts to leave the room, and Elyse says she’s running away, but Ramona says she doesn’t want to have a conflict in front of everyone. In LuAnn’s interview, she says, Ramona is the queen of scene, and we flash back to several of those. Ramona and Elyse end up in the kitchen, and Ramona says they don’t need an audience. She was disappointed at the Halloween party. Dorinda is going through sh*t, and went off. She wanted to cry, so she left the room.

Dorinda tells LuAnn and Leah about Ramona saying she was drunk. In LuAnn’s interview, she says it’s weird for her to back up Ramona, but she’s been on the other side, and Dorinda needs to understand that she went too far. LuAnn says she wants to be honest, because she loves Dorinda, and Dorinda tells her, be careful. In Leah’s interview, she says she loves Dorinda, but she’s not speaking the truth to her. She’ll get her head chopped off, like in a communist regime. LuAnn says she’s far from perfect, but it felt dark. We revisit Dorinda’s diatribe at the table, telling Ramona that she’s not nice. Dorinda tells LuAnn, don’t go there, and LuAnn says she’s not defending Ramona. Dorinda says Ramona was yelling in front of the group, you’re drunk! In the kitchen, Elyse says she’d thought they were close, and Ramona says she has fifty close friends. Elyse says, maybe Ramona is naïve. She has a lot of social friends. Yeah, it’s more like Ramona has friends who are over fifty. Ramona says she appreciates what Elyse has done for her, and jets out of the kitchen. Elyse says she’s running away again.

LuAnn says, Ramona is in the hot seat. Elyse and Ramona come back, and Leah asks what Ramona said to Dorinda. Ramona acts like she didn’t say anything. Dorinda says Ramona doesn’t seem to feel happy with them anymore. She didn’t even care that they were with her at Larry Scott’s warehouse. Ramona says she was on a sugar high. In Sonja’s interview, she says, that’s a lame-ass excuse. Ramona wanted a group photo to get LuAnn and Sonja’s Instagram followers for Larry Scott. Dorinda says the group loves Ramona, and Ramona tells them that she has nothing to say. Somehow, things are suddenly okay, and she and Dorinda hug. In Dorinda’s interview, she says she’ll give Ramona a break, but maybe Ramona will think twice before calling her drunk or trying to pull the wool over her eyes. Doubtful. In Ramona’s interview, she says she was aggressive with Dorinda, but didn’t regret it. Told you. Elyse hugs Ramona, and Ramona says she’s sorry she made Elyse feel that way.

LuAnna says Dorinda gave in quick, and Dorinda says she doesn’t want to fight. She wants a fun girls weekend. In her interview, she says they keep having the same fight over and over, with no resolution. Dorinda tells Ramona, be peaceful. In Dorinda’s interview, she says, Ramona has a different personality for each occasion, and she’s all Mrs. Posh now. Ramona says she’d been spending weekends alone in the Hamptons, and she’s good with it. Dorinda says Ramona needs someone to love her for her. They’re financially independent, and a strong man says, you do you. She tells Ramona, there are very few strong men, and Ramona says she’s come to terms with it, and choses herself. Dorinda says, all you need is one. In Ramona’s interview, she says she doesn’t know how not to need a man. She met two men at the party who sort of meet her criteria, and they called to ask her out. Sonja suggests ordering pizza and going to bed early. LuAnn says, what about Chinese? and Dorinda gets out Twister. Leah says she won’t throw anything tonight. In Leah’s interview, she says they’re confined to a house with a lot of glass and breakables. She knows herself. If she turns it up, sh*t will get broken, and she doesn’t want to do that. Everyone comments on how great Sonja’s ass is. Sonja says, with an ass like this, why should she have to work? In Sonja’s interview, she says her ass is better than the townhouse. Nobody can take this away.

LuAnn tells the women that she and Sonja are doing a show. Sonja whines that LuAnn never pays her. In her interview, Sonja says, it’s not that she doesn’t have a good time doing the show, but she has a family to support. People depend on her. Besides LuAnn. LuAnn says she wants Sonja to be part of the show because she loves her, and Sonja says LuAnn wants to exploit her. LuAnn is taken aback, and says she doesn’t need Sonja. She can go screw herself. She says Sonja gets $225, and Sonja gripes that the other people in the show get more. LuAnn says she loves Sonja, but she’s not a Broadway actor. In LuAnn’s interview, she says she has Broadway actors and comics. She’s not paying Sonja more to take off her dress. Sonja says LuAnn is being mean, and LuAnn says she loves Sonja. Sonja says she doesn’t, and LuAnn wants her for free. LuAnn says if Sonja loves being in the show, great, but she doesn’t need her. Sonja whines that LuAnn made her feel unappreciated, and LuAnn has enough, saying she doesn’t want Sonja in the show. LuAnn walks out of the room, mumbling that she has her own cabaret show, it’s huge, and Sonja is not going to be a part of it. She tried to include her, and Sonja made her feel bad about it. She’s done. Ramona follows her, and LuAnn adds, bitch. In Dorinda’s interview, she wonders where the good time went. In Leah’s interview, she says that’s the diva she’s heard about, but hasn’t seen. Sonja cries, while Elyse, Dorinda, and Leah comfort her.  LuAnn tells Ramona that Sonja doesn’t understand. She loves Sonja. Ramona says LuAnn is missing the point, and LuAnn says she doesn’t need Sonja in the show. She does a great job on her own, and she’s successful. Does Sonja think LuAnn needs her? Ramona says she’s seen the show, and LuAnn almost seems drunk. She says she’s giving Sonja a chance because she loves her. She wanted to make it fun, but if Sonja thinks she’ll be the star, she’s sadly mistaken.

Dorinda tells Sonja that LuAnn doesn’t love her right now, and Sonja continues to cry. Dorinda says she’ll stand up for Sonja. She’s a warrior, and Sonja is weak. Sonja says she’s not, and Dorinda strides off. In Leah’s interview, she says she knew Dorinda was a white witch, but she needs to sage the sh*t out of Bluestone Manor. LuAnn says Sonja is being horrible right now, and Dorinda finds her. She says Sonja is crying. Shame on her. LuAnn asks, why? and Dorinda says Sonja is her friend. She stood by LuAnn on her journey to sobriety. We flash back to Sonja being supportive, and LuAnn asks if Dorinda is saying she owes Sonja, and Dorinda says she’s saying to stand by her. Be nice. LuAnn suggests Dorinda not get involved. Sonja wails that she was just asking for money. Elyse asks why Sonja is so upset, and in her interview, she says, it’s officially what you call off the effing rails. LuAnn says she never wants to see Sonja even at the show. She’s worthless. She’s not coming to the show ever. Now there’s a real threat.

Next time, Dorinda calls LuAnn a drunken fool, Ramona deals with a clogged toilet, Heather Thompson makes an appearance, and Leah announces she’s the only one with a period.

🥂  The Real Housewives of Potomac begin their new season on August 2nd, and it’s confirmed that the Shah’s of Sunset will be reuniting on July 19th. I’m thrilled. Obviously, I have no life.

👩🏼  Fun fact. Even though I’ve seen it a dozen times – it was a favorite of kids I used to take care of – I never noticed that Kimberly McCullough (Robin, GH) was in Legally Blonde.

What I Watched Today

General Hospital

As Ferris Bueller said, GH moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and flash back once in a while, you could miss it. Today, what we didn’t miss was May 7th, 2010.

Prosecutor Claire said Jax knew Michael was innocent, and if she went down, she was dragging him with her. She didn’t have much sympathy for the man who almost torpedoed her career. He asked if she didn’t think the judge would go easy on Michael, and she said she didn’t see why not. Judge Carroll was a lot angrier with them than with Michael. She thought it was realistic to expect a suspended sentence, but it was a felony conviction, and Michael would have it hanging over him for the rest of his life. Her phone rang, and she told Jax that the judge was ready to sentence Michael.

At Crimson, Maxie told Lulu that she didn’t know what it was like to be a pariah. Maxie did, and she didn’t recommend it. Lulu stuck by her boyfriend, and now Michael was in lock-up. Lulu thought he judge was just trying to scare Michael, and Maxie said she was sorry she hadn’t called Jason before Dante talked to Michael. Lulu said Dante was only doing the right thing; the secret had been killing Michael. Maxie said he could end up in Pentenville, but Lulu insisted that he would get a suspended sentence. Dante had said Michael would be able to start a new life away from the mob and Sonny. Maxie said the opposite of what Dante wanted could happen, but Lulu said Dante was saving Michael, and one day everyone would understand why she took his side, and be grateful to him. At the courthouse, Carly told Jason that Morgan wanted to have a party for Michael’s homecoming, but she’d told him that they’d have to wait and see. Morgan thought Michael was coming home right away, thanks to Dante. Jason said Dante shouldn’t have promised that Michael would come home. Dante arrived, and asked Carly to hear him out about Michael.

Outside of Kelly’s, Morgan, Kristina, and Molly were conferring about Michael, and Molly asked if they thought he was getting out. Kristina thought it was unrealistic to think he would right away, but Morgan said, Dante promised. Olivia and Johnny came into Kelly’s, but Johnny’s phone rang as soon as they sat down. He said he’d be right there, and told Olivia that he would be allowed to speak before Michael was sentenced. Maxie told Lulu that she was being too optimistic. Maxie had ended up in Shadybrook because she went along with a cover-up, and let someone she loved take the fall. She had to own up to it, and Michael will have to also. Olivia phoned Lulu, and told her Dante could use her support. Dante told Carly, he hoped when this was over, they’d understand he was right. Carly said he gave snitch a whole new meaning, and had turned it into an art. He lied to her kids when he was working against their father. He lied when he said Sonny didn’t shoot him, and if he’d told the truth, they wouldn’t be there. Dante said the guilt had been tearing Michael apart, and Carly asked why Dante didn’t give him time to come forward himself. Dante said it was his job as a police officer to tell the truth, and Carly said, he told the truth when it was convenient or it made him look good. She said Michael would have turned himself in when he came back, but Dante couldn’t wait to grandstand. Dante said she could have saved Michael all this trouble, but he thought the judge would see Michael as a victim, and give him a chance to build his life again. It was the best thing that could have happened to him. Sonny told Dante, stop talking now. He asked Dante why he was lecturing Carly about what Michael needed; he didn’t know Michael, and had been too busy proving Sonny wrong to protect him. Maybe Sonny didn’t deserve a better son than Dante, but Michael deserved a better brother. Morgan, Molly, and Kristina snuck into the courthouse. Morgan wondered if they could get take-out pizza tonight, and Molly said she thought they were overlooking that everyone hated Dante. Morgan said they wouldn’t after today. Lulu joined Dante, and said she believed in what he was doing. He told her, when the judge gave Michael a suspended sentence, they’d see, and she said it was the right thing for her to be there to take his side, especially with Carly there. She wasn’t going to apologize for loving him. Everyone went into the courtroom, and Carly said it was so wrong. Sonny said, no matter what, they wanted Michael to know they were there to support him.

Elizabeth went to Shirley’s (Michael Learned) hospital room, and Shirley said Elizabeth was looking good. She thought it was the ex-husband. Elizabeth said she was glad Lucky came by and stopped Helena from harassing her; it was like old times. Shirley said, from what Elizabeth had told her, Lucky was a rescuer, and they all dream of someone swooping in to make it right. Elizabeth said sometimes it happened. Lucky had saved her when they were teenagers. They’d caused each other pain, but there had been good times, and she was glad he was still out there. She thought he still cared. Shirley said she always believed the bright side, but sometimes there was a case to be made for reality. Elizabeth said it was the first time she’d seen a glimpse of hope for her and Lucky, and it came from Helena of all people. At the MetroCourt bar, Helena told Tracy she felt sorry for Spencer. He was the son of a stripper, and the nephew of a professional criminal; hardly Cassadine material. Tracy said he was good enough for Helena to kidnap, and Helena said she didn’t expect Tracy to understand the traditions like honor and respect. She wanted to raise her grandchildren to be proper Cassadines. Morgan said he felt like a spy, as the kids snuck around, and listened in from a hallway near the courtroom. Sonny asked Diane how Michael was, and she said Michael wanted to make him proud. Sonny asked if she had any idea what sentence the judge would give Michael, and she said, none, but Judge Carroll had the reputation of being fair and thorough. She told him that Johnny was probably there to make a statement for Claudia, and Carly couldn’t believe Jax was there with Claire, and he was sitting on that side of the courtroom. Judge Carroll came to the bench, and reminded everyone that he was not going to tolerate any interruptions or outbursts. Michael was brought in, and the judge asked if the victim’s family cared to speak. Johnny said he would, and got on the stand.

Johnny said that he and Claudia were very close. She was the one person he could come to if he needed anything. Sonny had tried to have killed, and she sought retribution, but she hadn’t intended on hurting Michael. She’d had guilt and remorse over being responsible for Michael getting shot. That, and losing her baby were the worst things that ever happened to her. Sonny deliberately and relentlessly whittled away at Claudia’s sanity, and by the birthday party, she had gone over the edge. She could have killed Carly and the baby, and Michael had no choice but to stop her. The judge asked if he was aware that Michael killed his sister; he’d sworn Sonny had. Johnny said he’d testified that Sonny was responsible for her death, and he was. Sonny built her up, then humiliated her. If not for Sonny’s actions toward her, she never would have ended up at the cabin, and never would have kidnapped Carly. Michael should be considered a hero for saving his mother and baby sister’s life. Claudia wouldn’t want to see him punished. If she could, she would forgive Michael. He wasn’t responsible; Sonny was.

Helena told Tracy that her role as matriarch was to provide guidance and continuity to the next generation. She was looking out for her own, and Tracy might want to do the same – meaning our Luke. Tracy said he was her Luke, and Helena said she and Luke went to dark places Tracy wouldn’t understand. Luke was thrilling when properly stimulated. Tracy told Helena, stay away from her husband. She left, and Helena said Tracy was too smart. She couldn’t have Tracy figuring out that Elizabeth was really carrying Lucky’s child. Shirley said she was dying, so she might have memory lapses, but hadn’t Elizabeth said there was no hope for her and Lucky? Elizabeth said she didn’t see how Lucky could forgive her for sleeping with his brother. He was hurt and angry, and couldn’t see his way back. He’d looked at her differently, but what brought them together was still there. It was funny that Helena had spent so much time pulling them apart, and now might bring them back together. She wasn’t jumping to a happy ending, but if there was a chance, that was enough. Shirley asked, what about the baby’s father, Nikolas? Lucky showed up at Crimson with some flowers from a guy in the lobby, and Maxie said they were from a photographer who’d had to cancel at the last minute. Maybe she’d invite him back if a free portrait was in it; fashion publishing was her calling. She told him Lulu was at the courthouse, standing by her man.  On the stand, Johnny said Claudia wasn’t evil, and wouldn’t want Michael to suffer for what she or Sonny had done. He understood the judge was upset with all of them, but hoped he didn’t take it out on the kid, and was lenient. Michael was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and never meant to kill Claudia. He was acting on instinct, and saved two lives. Judge Carroll said Johnny was bright and articulate, and hoped Johnny turned his life around before they met there under different circumstances. He told Michael to stand.

The judge said Michael had pleaded guilty, and waived his right to trial. He had admitted killing Claudia, but there was no malice or premeditation, so was charged with involuntary manslaughter, which carried a sentence of five to twenty years. He’d also had brain damage, but the judge wanted him to understand the seriousness of his action without completely sacrificing his future. He gave Michael five years, with the opportunity for parole in two years. Everyone went nuts, and the judge banged his gavel, telling them to take their seats. There was still an uproar, with Dante and Carly yelling the loudest. Dante said Michael didn’t belong in prison, and Judge Carroll told him it was past the point of argument. Dante said he brought Michael there to save him, and get him away from the violence and corruption, but the judge said it was too late to negotiate a deal. Michael’s sentence would give him time to turn his life around. Dante argued that Sonny had a lot of enemies in prison, and Michael could be pulled further into it. He asked the judge to please reconsider, give Michael the help he needed, and give his brother a chance to build a better future. Maxie put Lucky to work, toting boxes for her. She said his sister was crazy in love with Dante, and asked what he thought. He said he never figured his sister for the law and order type. He didn’t agree with turning Michael in, and hoped it had nothing to do with him. Maxie said Dante thought the judge would be lenient, but she thought Dante should have given Michael the opportunity to turn himself in. She was afraid he’d end up with a harsher sentence because he hadn’t. Lulu had gone to be with Dante, since she was in the first stages of love, when you have no thought of hooking up anyone else.

Tracy sat in an examining room, waiting for Epiphany. She told Epiphany that she wanted to see the lab tech who did Elizabeth’s paternity test, but Epiphany said, not a chance. Tracy said her family’s money kept the hospital afloat, and Epiphany said it was Lawrence Bailey. Tracy wanted his number, but Epiphany told her that he used to swim laps before work, had slipped, hit his head, and drowned. In court, Judge Carroll said he didn’t tolerate an outburst, but Dante respected the law and his brother, so he’d allowed it. There was no worse crime anyone could commit than taking a human life. Michael had been part of the cover-up, although he’d had terrible guidance from the people who claimed to love him, and extreme emotional pressure. However, he hadn’t been restrained or threatened, and could have come forward. Michael said Mac hadn’t believed his confession, and the judge said it had been off the record. He asked if Michael had shown Mac the bloody shirt or if he’d made any other attempt at a confession. Diane said Michael had been following legal advice, and the judge said they’d go down that road later. Michael was surrounded by a group who flaunted the law the rest of them had to obey. He’d been systematically exposed to violence and mayhem. He’d awoke after being in a coma for a year, and the judge had reservations about how he was living the life he’d miraculously been given back. Dante said, prison wasn’t the goal; Michael should get counseling sessions and guidance. Judge Carroll said Michael was of legal age, and they were all treating him like a child, when in the eyes of the court, he was an adult. He hoped to teach Michael to respect the law, and that his actions had consequences, and he’d be getting Michael away from the adults in his life. He’d keep them away if he could. He said it was an extremely light sentence. He hoped Michael used the time to plan a better life, and that it left him with an aversion to being locked up, so he never broke the law again. Carly cried, and Dante looked like he had a headache.

Maxie said she wasn’t talking about Lucky, and he said he’d been in love with Elizabeth, but once he moved on, he was done rescuing her. Maxie asked how that was working for him, and he said he’d been known to backslide, especially when Helena was involved, but he wasn’t going to keep trying to make the fantasy work. Maxie was glad he’d outgrown Elizabeth. Those who’d had their hearts trampled, would live to love another day. Epiphany admitted that she’d seen Larry talking to Helena, and Tracy suggested Helena had paid Larry to change the test, then killed him. Epiphany said, or she just wanted to see the result early, and Larry slipped. Tracy wondered why Helena would want a Spencer baby appear to be a Cassadine. Michael was remanded to the PCPD to await transfer, and Sonny said it wasn’t justice. The cover-up was his idea. The judge said, it having a less than satisfying outcome wasn’t his problem. Sonny said he told Michael that he was proud he’d saved his mother and sister, and because of him, Michael had lost a year of his life. Because of him, Michael had been in the cabin. Michael had made a bad choice, but he didn’t mean kill Claudia. He was devastated, and had practically been in shock. The judge asked if they’d sought medical attention, but Sonny said he’d brought Michael home, the only place he thought was safe and they could take care of him. He didn’t want Michael punished anymore for saving Carly and Josslyn. Judge Carroll said Sonny had destroyed evidence that would have proved Michael didn’t want Claudia harmed. Sonny said Claudia wasn’t a tragic misguided soul, like Johnny had said. She was 100% evil, and poisoned everything she touched. The judge said, yet Sonny married her. Sonny said the fact was, he’d brought Claudia into Michael’s life, and he was responsible for her death. He begged the judge not to punish Michael, but to punish him. While the judge agreed that Sonny was indirectly responsible, he said Michael was of legal age. While he’d suffered emotional violence, it wasn’t against the law. Sonny was a selfish irresponsible father, and he was getting Michael out from under Sonny’s influence for two to five years.  Sonny was not a person to admire or emulate, and Michael could take this opportunity to turn his life around. The rest of them broke so many laws, he didn’t know where to start; including perjury, wasting his time, and the time and money of the taxpayers. He had a backup of real cases, so it would have to be punishment enough, knowing they’d helped put Michael in a jail cell. He hoped Michael would think about it tonight, and every night, until he was released. He said he was going to personally pray that Michael never came home. Carly hugged Michael. In the hallway, Molly said they were taking Michael to prison. Morgan said, but Dante promised, and she said, Dante was wrong. They watched as Michael was taken away. Court was adjourned, and Carly hugged Jason. Everyone was bummed.

When picked up where we left off, with Denise and Aaron jetting from Kyle’s barbecue, and Denise telling him not to say anything with the cameras on them. Kyle said Denise didn’t want to be honest, and LisaR said whenever there was an issue, Denise ran. Not allowing such a thing, LisaR flew after her, but Denise said they’d talk in private. In Denise’s interview, she said if all these women were coming for LisaR, she’d defend her because she’s her friend, but LisaR wasn’t going to bat for her. Kyle told the others that she didn’t like Aaron getting involved, and in Garcelle’s interview, she said, either Aaron was being chivalrous, defending his wife, or it was a bitch move, getting involved in a woman’s conversation. Or women business, and NeNe would say. In Erika’s interviewDenise told LisaR it was time to move on to something else. LisaR had hurt her feelings in Santa Barbara, and she didn’t want the others’ opinions. While walking back, LisaR said it was the effing Twilight Zone. LisaR joined Garcelle, Kyle, Erika, and Sutton in a large tent, and told them that Denise and Aaron were going to have a steak and go to a strip joint. I didn’t catch that part, so I don’t even know if they were being sarcastic or that was their real plan. Erika said that it was hypocritical because Denise was judgmental about the threesome business. Holy! When will these morons get that she just didn’t want to talk about it in front of the kids? In her interview, Garcelle said Denise wasn’t being hypocritical. If the kids weren’t there, they could be as free as they wanted. In Dorit’s interview, she said Denise should have stayed and worked through the situation, so they could move on. In the limo, Denise told Aaron that she wasn’t trying to make them look bad, they made themselves look bad. LisaR said she found it ironic, and Kyle swung around a pole in the middle of the tent, turned upside down, and said, namaste, MF’ers. They all acted like idiots, and honestly, I almost turned it off right there.

Teddi brought her kids along for her sonogram, so they could see their little sister.  LisaR went to Sutton’s store, which was called Sutton. So original. I wondered if her dog was named Spot. In Sutton’s interview, she said she was having a trunk show – A Night in Capri – and sent proper invitations, not some weenie text message. Dorit met with a closet specialist, and we found out she has 229 pairs shoes. At least she did when it was filmed. Who knows now? People have had a lot of time on their hands, and shopping on the internet never closed. Dorit said she needed something to fit all her clothes, but it sounded like she was still going to infringe on PK’s closet space. Kyle almost had a heart attack when she thought she was going to get pulled over while in the car with Kim. In Kyle’s interview, she said, when she and Kim were bad, they were really bad. We flashed back to several of those times, including the limo/alcoholic scene. She added, but when they were good, no one made her laugh harder. They went to see a plastic surgeon about Kim’s implants, since she’d noticed a change in one. Dr. Handel said they were like tires, and it had gone  flat. In her interview, Kyle said Kim already had a lumpectomy. The tumor was benign, but they’d lost their mom to cancer, and she was freaked. The doctor thought it would be enough to remove the implants and give her a lift.

While Aaron was driving, Sami asked if what he was doing wasn’t illegal, and he told her, don’t do what I do – ever. He took for a driving lesson, along with Denise, who said she was a nervous effing nelly. We learned that because of their shape, the break was the hamburger, and the hotdog meant go. Denise said Aaron had the patience she didn’t, and when she watched him, she was reminded of why she fell in love with him. She felt safe and protected with him, and had never been with a man who took care of her.

LisaR and Erika went to a place called EMsculpt, where they stick electric paddles on you to tighten you up. LisaR said she’d done everything, and this was great. In Erika’s interview, she said it wasn’t a replacement for exercise, but it was important. In her business, there was a line out the door to judge you. Erika said Dr. Kinney was her next husband. She was going for a plastic surgeon. In her interview, LisaR said he was Erika’s type; rich and bald. Erika had her stomach zapped, while LisaR did her butt. Erika asked LisaR about Chicago, since she’d also been in it. LisaR said her hardest moment was Roxie’s monologue about fame; it’s who she is. In her interview, she said, it was all about her. She told Erika that they all come from a place of need, and can relate. They’re tough bitches.

Kim checked in to the hospital, and Dr. Handel said the plan was to remove her implants, and remove any abnormal tissue for a biopsy. In Kyle’s interview, she said she hated doctors and hospitals – they made her whole body go numb. It terrified her, thinking something might be wrong, and all she could think about was her mom. Kim was worried that she hadn’t talked to her kids that morning, but the doctor said she’d be fine. In her interview, Kyle said she went back to hearing that her mom had breast cancer, and she was scared to die. She would tell Kyle that she was terrified, and still had so much to teach her. I’m not so sure that’s something you should tell your child, especially if they have anxiety. When the surgery was over, Dr. Handel told Kyle that Kim had done extremely well.

Garcelle was moving into her new home. In her interview, she said she’d been planning and building for close to a year. It was two stories, with a grand entrance; 3200 square feet, with five bedrooms and five baths. She said she didn’t realize she had so much sh*t. I know the feeling, and hate moving. After the divorce, building the house was huge for her. She had a date on Friday night, and said she didn’t introduce the kids to many guys. She didn’t want the kids to go through too many changes, and didn’t want them think mom was a ho. Some women have daddy issues, and she picked men who weren’t emotionally available. She never really had a relationship with her father. She thought he must have known he was dying, and wrote her a letter. He sent it to mom who never gave it to her, then it had been misplaced, so she never knew how he felt or what he thought of her; if he was proud of her. The boys walk on the outside of the banister on the grand staircase, giving Garcelle agita.

The women went to Sutton’s trunk show, where she had some dynamite jewelry. In Dorit’s interview, she said when she’d been offered a job in Italy, she stayed ten years. After a broken engagement, she returned to Manhattan, and met PK. Teddi rolled in, looking unkempt as usual. In Sutton’s interview, she said maybe she could help Teddi. Probably not. Kyle talked about how she and Mauricio were having a black and white party. In her interview, she said they threw a lot of parties, and thought it looked prettier in pictures than a white party. Sutton had a fabulous buffet spread that spanned a few tables. Kyle was uncomfortable when she heard Denise was coming with Aaron. Dorit said she’d learned from that experience, and we flashed back to PK butting into one of the arguments. In Dorit’s interview, she said she knew how Denise felt; thank God for my husband, but it backfires. In Denise’s interview, she said she kept hoping the ladies would put it to bed, and say, let’s have a great night. HA-HA-HA! Good luck with that. Dorit met Denise and Aaron in the reception area. Erika said it wasn’t that deep, but now it was a thing and uncomfortable. My sentiments exactly, but they’re the ones making it a thing and uncomfortable. Teddi said, awkward energy. Denise and Aaron approached their table, and Aaron asked if he was the only husband. Denise said they had a dinner, so he had to come, but in Kyle’s interview, she said she didn’t buy it. Denise dragged Aaron there because she didn’t want to get into anything. He’s her watchdog. Actually, I think if that was the case, he’d be the last one she’d bring. Kyle said she was sorry about what happened that they’d left. In Denise’s interview, she said it was okay for Kyle to leave, but she can’t, and we flashed back to Kyle leaving her own chem trail at a party. Denise said she had to use the bathroom, leaving Aaron to deal with the women. Kyle said she felt weird about how they left, and felt weird not acknowledging it. Aaron thought they should wait until Denise was back, but Erika couldn’t do that, telling Aaron that he’d said they were bad people, they should look in the mirror, and were they happy with themselves. He did tell them to look in the mirror, but he never said they were bad. Aaron said he never called people bad, and Erika said he’d talked down to them. He said if they can live with themselves, okay, and Erika said she could. He said, great. Then she solved that problem. Here’s where I realized I’m Aaron. He’s just not having their phoniness under the guise of honesty, or owning it, if you will. I have the feeling, were I around them for any great length of time, I’d be telling them to look in the mirror too. No. Scratch that. I’d be telling them that if I’d just met them. Denise doesn’t want to talk about some things, and I don’t see what the big deal is. I find it hard to believe all of them are open about everything, and despite what they say, no one has to on a reality show. It’s not a social experiment. They’re Housewives, not the Loud family.

Teddi said Aaron had been belittling, and he said, okay; if that’s how she felt. She said he knew what he was doing, and he asked her to spell it out. Erika said he’d been mansplaining and got heated. He told her that he speaks directly, and she said, so did they. He asked why they were nitpicking people then, and Teddi accused him of being the moral high ground. He asked if she wanted to go there, and Erika said she did; did he? Aaron said he’d go anywhere; he’d go up, down, and all around. Denise came back, and in her interview, she said she’d stupidly left him there with those women. Aaron said if they wanted to talk negatively, they could. He was done with the conversation, but they kept poking the bear. Kyle said he was the one who made it negative. Denise told them she’d said all she had to say about it. Teddi said Denise had called her a sh*t effing stirrer while daughter Phoenix was there. Denise said she hadn’t known Phoenix was there, and this was the dumbest thing ever. Find something else to fight about. She and Aaron walked away, but Dorit couldn’t let that happen. She walked alongside them, yammering. Denise said it was toxic. Dorit told Denise not to say she wasn’t upset when they were storming out. Denise said they weren’t storming out; they were walking away. Back at the table, Kyle suggested Denise just say how she felt. She did. She said she was done. That’s pretty direct. Dorit said Denise was obviously upset, and Denise said it was Sutton’s event, and she didn’t want to cause a scene. In Dorit’s interview, she said Denise was clearly upset and storming out, and that was causing a scene. These people are insane. Storming off is creating a scene, as they’ve all done many times, but Denise and Aaron just said goodnight to Sutton, and walked toward the exit. With Dorit bouncing alongside them, babbling. Causing the scene. Dorit asked why Denise shut it down, and Denise said she had nothing else to say. Erika told the other women that she didn’t give a f***. Dorit said Aaron was being protective, but it wasn’t helpful. In her interview, Dorit said she felt bad for Denise. Now she’d have to blindly defend her husband. Dorit did, and it had sucked for her. Sutton’s boyfriend had the right idea, standing at the buffet and chowing down.

Denise told Dorit that she was past it, but they weren’t. There were paparazzi and people taking pictures; it wasn’t her thing. In Dorit’s interview, she said she didn’t see anyone. Obviously, Denise and Aaron weren’t listening; they were just looking for an excuse to leave. Kyle said she’d felt bad when they left her house, and wanted to talk about it, but they didn’t. They didn’t want to talk about anything when it involved them. She wondered if they’d have to pretend, and Teddi said that wasn’t healthy. Erika said maybe they shouldn’t have any conversations with Denise.

Next time, Garcelle sells a script, Kyle throws the black and white party, Denise and LisaR go to lunch, and Camille, Brandi, and Adrienne show up.

General Hospital

GH pins the tail on the flashback, and we lift the blindfold to find April 4th, 2008.

Kate asked a young Michael if he understood that his father’s real job had nothing to do with coffee. Claudia (who confused the hell out of me at first, since she was played by Sarah Brown, who was also Carly at one point) was worried about Johnny, and Trevor (who worked for Sonny’s then rival Anthony Zacchara, and also Ric’s dad) told Johnny if he didn’t kill Sonny, Sonny would kill him. Claudia’s phone rang, and she told a hitman that Sonny would arrive at the warehouse in an hour, and to call her when it was done. Max said he didn’t like Sonny going to the warehouse without protection, but Sonny said it was legit business, and Michael and Kate would be there. He appreciated Max’s concern, but told him to take the night off. Alexis showed up, and told Sonny that a dead body had been found in the water after an explosion. She wondered what he knew about it. Sonny said he had important plans, and told her to ask him tomorrow. Spinelli told Jason that mob hostility was being kept at bay, giving Jason the potential to walk in the sunlight with Jake. Robin talked to Elizabeth about raising children by herself. She’d seen how well Elizabeth had done, and that it didn’t have to be a disaster. Elizabeth said, you just do the best you can, and pray a lot. She admitted that she sometimes wished she had a partner, and wanted to be with Jason. Robin said Jason had been her rock after Stone died. She knew he had a special heart, and his heart had been broken when he lost Michael because of her. (She’d told AJ that he was Michael’s father.) Elizabeth said Robin had wanted to keep her pregnancy a secret from Patrick, but Robin said she’d done it from a different perspective, and was glad he knew now. Elizabeth said the truth always came out eventually. Elizabeth said Jason had a great capacity to love a child, and they’d found common ground when he thought Lucky was dead, and he was grieving. She said Jason’s situation was harder, and he’d had to make sacrifices. Rabin said that’s why she was meddling; she hoped Jason would get the chance to be a father. Jax (still married to Carly) told Carly that he had to take a meeting for Kate (Sonny’s then girlfriend, and Jax’s then business partner) in Houston, and suggested she fly there with him, and they could have dinner. Carly asked him when Kate had become more important to him than she was. Jax said most women would find a private jet ride to dinner romantic, but she said she didn’t like being an afterthought, and wondered why Kate couldn’t take the meeting herself. He told her, just come with him, but she said she had the kids to think about. He said the kids had a nanny, but she said she didn’t want to be away from the children or him, and to tell Kate that he was having dinner with his wife. He said he loved her, but didn’t like ultimatums. She said it was a choice, and he said she had one too. She could try to manipulate him or have a great evening, but Carly chose not to go. Kate told Michael that sometimes he thought things were true that weren’t; like when he’d bought a gun. Michael admitted it was stupid, and Kate said it was admirable that he wanted to protect his family, but he’d gone about it in the wrong way. Like it or not, there were rules for kids that weren’t the same for adults, but the bright side was, they were past it. His father’s job had included violence, but Sonny was changing that, and Michael would get to be a part of it. Alexis told Sonny, the body had been ID’d as Randal Compton, who had a connection to Ric’s girlfriend Mariana, who’d left in a hurry. Sonny suggested she talk to Ric, but she said, typically, when a dead body was involved, Sonny was too. Randal had been killed by a blow to the head that could have happened in the explosion, but Kate had been shot by a nearby shooter who was never found (it was Michael), and maybe Sonny had gotten to them first.

Trevor said, unless Johnny went after Sonny, Sonny would take it as a sign of weakness. Trevor said Carly had her own agenda – self-preservation – and Johnny had better have a plan, because if he did nothing, he’d be dead. Claudia told Johnny not to worry; Sonny would be dead in an hour. Jason told Spinelli that Trevor taking over had upset the balance of power, and Spinelli said he knew Jason’s first concern was the safety of Sonny and his family, but he’d more than proved himself. Why didn’t he apply his skills to his own family? Robin told Elizabeth, if the right man came along, she’d get involved. Patrick didn’t know what he wanted, and she didn’t want to be a test case while he figured it out. Elizabeth said Jason’s job wouldn’t put his family in danger, since the violence had been  broken up. Robin said their lives were going in different directions, and there was Carly. Elizabeth said Carly wasn’t the problem, and if it was just her, she’d be fine with Jason, but she didn’t want the kids to be in danger. Robin said her mom and dad were always in danger when she was growing up, but what she remembered and was grateful for was the love. Johnny was concerned a hit on Sonny would be traced back to them, but Claudia assured him it would look like it was a third party hit. They would still need airtight alibis, something even Jason would buy. Johnny suggested he go to the Haunted Star, where Luke was busy working, but Claudia was concerned Luke might find out Johnny was using him. It was risky taking Sonny out, and they needed to keep their hands clean. Sonny said he had something to tell Alexis, but didn’t want her using the information. She promised not to, and Sonny said Michael thought he should protect Carly and Morgan after Emily and Laticia were murdered, and bought a gun. Alexis said Michael was only twelve, and Sonny said he knew that’s why Alexis had kept Kristina from him. He knew he’d hurt Michael, and she was worried he’d hurt Kristina, but he promised on his children’s lives that he was changing all that.

Lulu told Luke that Kate was launching Crimson. They were having their fiftieth meeting with a party planner, and somehow it all got dumped on her. Luke suggested she quit, but Lulu said if she did, Maxie would win. Luke said Maxie would only win if Lulu cared, so try not to care, then extricate herself. She inquired about Luke’s new investor, and Luke told her not to pretend she didn’t come there hoping Johnny would show up. Claudia told Johnny that Luke was smart, and knew the players, but Johnny insisted he wouldn’t be able to trace it back. She told Johnny, the less he knew, the better, and he needed to watch his back. Johnny said he wouldn’t be intimidated by Luke, and she said it was his call. She was off to find her own alibi. Alexis told Sonny, no more lies, and Sonny said he was concentrating on his legit holdings. He wasn’t covering up anything, and just wanted his kids to have lives that weren’t tainted. He wanted them to inherit something not soaked in blood. They were growing up, and he had to make changes. He didn’t want Kristina and Morgan to go through what Michael did, so he was making peace, and trying to show them a different way. It was only coffee coming in. Carly came home, and the nanny said she’d thought Carly was going out. Carly said Jax had abandoned her, so she was just going to make fishsticks and corn for the kids; don’t judge her. The nanny said Michael wasn’t there, but Morgan was upstairs. Carly said Michael wasn’t supposed to go anywhere without permission from her or Sonny, but the nanny said Sonny had picked him up. They were going to the warehouse to check out a new coffee shipment that was coming in; she’d thought it was okay. Carly told her to feed Morgan fishsticks and corn, and she’d be back. When she opened the door, Jason was there, but she told him that she was leaving.

Lulu told Luke that there was money coming out of the Haunted Star, but none coming in, which was bad business. He said she was changing the subject, and he wasn’t going to tell her what to do or who to do it with. Plenty of people lied to her, so why put herself on the list? She insisted she wasn’t lying to herself, but he said she was being defensive. She wasn’t the first Spencer to be ruled by hormones, but why didn’t she have more guts to face what she felt, and deal with it? At the MetroCourt, Jerry Jax introduced himself to Claudia, saying he was happy to meet her. Not sure what that was about. Claudia told the guy at the reception desk that she wanted the best suite they had, but he said they couldn’t accommodate her; the suite wasn’t available. She insisted on talking to the owner. Carly told Jason that that she was going to the warehouse; Sonny hadn’t even bothered asking her if he could take Michael there. Jason said a lot of things were going to change, and Carly told him that Jax had blown off dinner to take a meeting for Kate in Houston, then Sonny and Kate decided to take Michael on a field trip. Jason thought it wouldn’t hurt for Sonny to spend time with Michael, and Carly said when Michael went missing, Sonny wouldn’t even leave his girlfriend’s bedside. She wanted to limit Sonny’s visitation, but Jason thought that would make it worse for Michael. He suggested she and Sonny talk tomorrow, in a more neutral area. Michael had been through a lot, and Sonny was helping him through it. He thought she should cut Sonny some slack. Carly’s phone rang, and it was the MetroCourt reception guy telling her that Claudia was there being difficult. She said she was on her way.

At the warehouse, hitman Ian got himself in position while Sonny was talking to the customs agents. Michael ran to Sonny, so Ian didn’t shoot. Jason found Elizabeth waiting for him when he got home, and she said Spinelli had told her it was okay on the phone, but ran out when she got there. They kissed, and she told Jason that she’d realized she asked him to make the wrong sacrifice for Jake. Johnny went to the Haunted Star, and Lulu asked Luke to leave. She told Johnny what he was doing sucked. He said he’d accepted responsibility and decided to walk away from their relationship, but she said he still kept popping up in her life, and had bought into her dad’s business. If he wanted her back, he should have the guts to admit it; it wasn’t on her. He said it was. She wanted him, but she was too ashamed to admit it. Carly told Carly Claudia to get out of her hotel now. They had a certain class of clientele. Claudia said Carly was easily threatened, and asked if she wanted a lawsuit for discrimination. Carly said it was private property, and she could do what she wanted. Claudia taunted her about sleeping with Sonny, and Carly said Claudia sounded like a stalker, since she kept bringing it up. Jerry went to Carly’s, saying he wanted to see his brother, but the nanny explained that Jax was in Houston on business, Carly was at the hotel, and Michael was at the warehouse with Sonny and Kate. At the warehouse, one of the workers took Michael to look at the crane, while Sonny had Kate smell the coffee beans. Every time Ian tried to take aim, something blocked him. Sonny told Kate that she was right, suggesting he bring Michael there, and she said he needed his father – so did she. They kissed, and Michael came back, suggesting they get a room. Ian took aim again. Elizabeth told Jason that she knew she’d told him to keep his distance, but it was hurting Jake, and Jason deserved to raise him. He said it wouldn’t work if she was afraid, but she said the best thing to do was love the kids and not sneak around; it was wrong. She loved him and wanted to share her life with him if he still wanted to. He said, of course (🍷) he did. All he wanted was a life and family with her. Who is this Jason?

Maxie told Johnny that one minute, he was a sweet guy, and the next, he was gun-toting wackjob. He said she wanted him to chase her, and she said she wanted to forget about him, but he wouldn’t let her, and they kissed. Carly told Claudia she was a one-night stand Sonny might have had the bad taste to have, but he made it up by ditching her, and she was looking at a restraining order. Claudia said Kate couldn’t hold on to Sonny, but she could, and that scared Carly. She should be scared, because no matter how hard she tried, Sonny wouldn’t be able to stay away. While Jerry was on the phone in his car, he nearly hit Alexis. She came over to his car, and asked what the hell was wrong with him.

Ian set his sights on Sonny for the thousandth time, but the warehouse was really busy, and he couldn’t get a clear shot. Michael babbled at Sonny about how high the shelves were in the warehouse, and Sonny told him the coffee was going to be in restaurants all the way to Canada. Michael asked what was really in the bags, and Sonny laughed, but said it wasn’t really funny. Michael said Sonny wasn’t really an importer, but Sonny said he was. It was for his kids, and if they did it right, they wouldn’t need a gun. They hugged, and Ian took aim again. Sonny told Michael to go play, but then noticed Ian. He grabbed Kate, they both dropped to the floor, and Michael ended up getting hit. So for all his practice, that dude had some very bad aim.

Below Deck Mediterranean

When we last left, Kiko was screwed, since the guests were bringing guests for dinner, and twelve guests times six dishes was seventy-two.

Bugs tells Kiko, they have strong team and everyone will help out. They’ll be fine. Hannah says, it’s a complete clusterf***. In his interview, Kiko says he’s done that many plates in restaurants, but there were six to ten chefs. How is he going to do this? Bugs sets the table, and Captain Sandy radios Malia to take what they can from the beach, and get back. The guests return, and Malia asks for all the hands she can get to unpack. She tells the captain, the guests got their beach picnic, water sports, and Justin got to visit with Scout. The dog nanny takes Scout back, and Hannah says, there’s been so much sh*t, but the guests are still having fun. Bugs tells Hannah that she’ll do the cutlery and glasses. In Hannah’s interview, she says she doesn’t particularly like Bugs, and if she didn’t like someone she wouldn’t come back, but Bugs is a strong second chief stew. She laughs at herself for creating a new title.

The guests ask Jessica for snacks, and Hannah tells Kiko that she’ll deal with it. She brings some cheese, and Justin says she’s a lifesaver, but she draws the line at feeding it to him. She tells Jessica that she’ll get the serviettes (napkins), and Jessica asks what soviets are. Hannah brings up more snacks, and oyster guy (I think his name is Leon) talks to his mom on the phone. In the galley, Kiko uses the word mother in a different context. In Captain Sandy’s interview, she says she’s nervous, and tells Kiko to call if he needs her. Malia tells wants to talk to Pete about the line confusion, and he swears he was just emphasizing that he was putting on the right line, not being a smart ass. Malia suggests he just keep his responses to copy that. She tells him, good job, and they fist bump. In Pete’s interview, he says, allowing her to have control is challenging. He’s used to doing it all on his own. He’s a captain, and also takes care of his dad and son. It’s hard to have someone else being in charge. I think it’s more like, it’s hard to have a woman being in charge. Alex asks Jessica if she thinks Bugs likes him, and she says she’ll find out. Because we’re in middle school.

Kiko tells Hannah, it’s going to be an international menu, and dictates each dish while she writes it down. She says, it sounds like something of everything. He says he didn’t know the guests could ask more people to dinner, and has provisions for eight, not twelve. Hannah asks if he wants her to talk to the captain, but he says he has to do it, but if he wins, he’s effing good. Hannah says, but if he fails, it’s on him.

Port Adriano. Hannah says, 72 plates for 12 guests who’ve been drinking all day. Kiko realizes he doesn’t have enough of some ingredients. In his interview, he says he worked in an Asian restaurant, where they did as many as 2000 plates in one night. It was hard, but nothing like this, since he’s by himself. Jessica says she doesn’t understand Bugs because of her accent, and Bugs says she can speak American, sounding just like one. Bugs shows Jessica how to make a fancy fold with a napkin. In Bugs’s interview, she says she thinks Jessica is receptive to learning, and teaching is a part of her. She taught her little brother and sister, and her brother is now a yacht broker and her sister is working her way up to chief stew. Rob visits the laundry – i.e. Jessica. In her interview, Jessica says the more she talks to him, the more she likes him, but she’s leery about going into a relationship. She’s been betrayed too many times. She caught her last boyfriend cheating. He’d been thirsting over Instagram photos on his phone, so she dropped it in the shower. Hannah tells Bugs that she’s glad to have a strong second. Bugs’s table is gorgeous; all amber and gold and candles. The guests are seated, and think the first course looks amazing. Bugs tells everyone that they’re a good team. The guests watch Scout on Justin’s phone. Malia says her boyfriend is a chef, and she thinks Kiko is doing well, but 72 plates is way too much for one person. Captain Sandy says she’s in awe of the team. In the captain’s interview, she says Hannah and Bugs have put the past aside to work together, and she thinks they’re going to be fine. Guest Zach bitches that he doesn’t like shrimp. Hannah tells Kiko, awesome timing. Captain Sandy tastes Kiko’s bacon ice cream, and says, wow, that’s Michelin star. In her interview, she says, since day one, Kiko’s had the passion, flavor, and smile, but now he has the timing and creativity. She’s blown away. In Kiko’s interview, he says he did it. It’s like when a football player makes a goal, and the audience roars. Then he has to do it all over again. Malia tries to get Pete’s attention, and he says he’s in the zone with the silverware. In Malia’s interview, she says it’s great that he’s helping with service, but she thinks he’s testing her. He wants to see how far he can push her, and it’s frustrating.

Sandy tells the crew, amazing job. The guests’ guests go back to shore, and Justin thanks Kiko personally. Kiko says, it’s a pleasure, which he can’t possibly mean. He’s exhausted, and it’s almost 1 am. Hannah thanks him for his hard work. Justin drinks from a gigantic bottle. Hannah makes toasted cheese sandwiches and Ramen noodles. The guests use the hot tub, while Alex keeps watch. One of the guests says Alex must be tired, and they wonder why he’s still up. In his interview, he says, he can’t go to bed because they’re in the hot tub. If they die, it’s on him. The guests finally crash at around 3:30.

Justin is up by 8, and ready for breakfast. Rob says, it’s going down tonight, and Pete says he’s been working since 6. In Pete’s interview, he says he’s picked up that Bugs is a flirt. He’s going to play it differently than he did with Lara. She’s not going to fall in love overnight, and he has play it cool. News flash: She’s not going to fall in love with you at all, dude. In Bugs’s interview, she says, Pete is like another specimen. I think she means species. Pete sits on the counter, and stares at her, grinning weirdly. She says, what the hell? He’s undressing her with his eyes, and she feels violated. Pete says, let the energy take control. In her interview, Bugs says, Pete has a sense of entitlement to say whatever he wants, but no, it’s not happening. Pete tells Kiko that he came in too high, and Kiko says, go get ‘em, tiger.

Scout is deposited back at the dock. Alex tries to pet him, but Scout ducks, and I laugh. The crew says goodbye to the guests, and Justin gives Captain Sandy the tip envelope, saying if they’re ever in NYC, let him know, like that will ever happen. The crew gathers for the tip meeting, and the captain commends Kiko, saying, he never got any rest, but continued to smile. It’s a different dynamic now, and they’re seeing the main goal; amazing. She thanks Bugs for the table settings, and says, it doesn’t matter what the client thinks, but what she thinks. The tip is $17,000 USD, or $1277 each. I think that’s low, and a text box says the average tip is $20,000. Jessica shows Hannah and Bugs a picture of her and Rob kissing. Hannah asks about his girlfriend, and Jessica tells them that he says he’s not seeing his her, but Hannah says there was a picture of them in Rob’s Instagram story the other day. She shows Jessica, and it’s a similar picture, but with another girl. Rob comes in, and the girls get quiet. Hannah says they were just looking at his and Jessica’s photo shoot. In her interview, Jessica says she needs time to realize Ron isn’t like the other losers she dated. Hannah tells Jessica, the picture is before she and Rob hooked up. Jessica says she really likes him, and doesn’t need a broken heart. Hannah says, just ask him about it. Malia calls boyfriend Tom. In her interview, she says he completely supports her career path. Her goal is to be captain of a super yacht. Before this, they were working on the same boat, so it was a hard adjustment. She’s happy he’s coming to visit. It gives her something to look forward to.

Alex says, tonight we party, and the crew gets ready to go out. Bugs is excited to get loose. In her interview, she says relationships aren’t her strength; she’s married to her job, and the single life is the good life for now. They get in the taxis, and Malia talks about having her first date with Tom on her birthday. She got sh*fasced, and hit on the waiters. At the restaurant, Alex asks how Bugs is adjusting. She says she feels like she’s known them a long time, and they toast to being the three charters in. In his interview, Pete says he’s seen the way Bugs looks at Alex when he’s not looking. Maybe they like each other. He’s not jealous; he’s just missing Lara. He texts Lara, saying, hey, boo. You up? Again, because we’re in middle school. Hannah asks if Rob and his girlfriend have an open relationship, and Rob says he no longer has a girlfriend. In Jessica’s interview, she says, so we’re going there? Ron says, it’s over, and in his interview, he says he’d rather not be in something if he’s going to cheat, even though they have an open experience. He asks Jessica what puzzle she’s putting together. People come into your life for a reason, season, or lifetime, and everything in his life has been temporary. Pete asks Bugs, what’s going on? and she says he’s creepy. He doesn’t do it in the right way. He tells her, if it happens again, let him know, and she says he needs to be respectful. In Bugs’s interview, she says she thinks Alex is cute in a teddy bear way, and he made her comfortable coming back on board after the situation with Hannah. The crew moves on to a club. Rob tells Jessica that he’s happy, and she says she is too. Hannah asks if she can steal Bugs a minute, and they sit outside. Hannah asks if Bugs was worried about working with her, but Bugs says a lot of time had gone by, and she hoped for the best. Hannah says it’s gone better than what she thought it was going to, and Bugs says, it’s not a power struggle; she came to support Hannah. Hannah says she’s at a different stage of her life, and thinks that naturally makes Bugs respect the hierarchy. Bugs says she trusts Hannah, so it’s perfect. In her interview, Bugs says she hopes Hannah will stay cordial. She’ll get back to us on that one. Shots are done, and Bugs tells Alex, he smells like Jager bombs. Everyone dances, and Malia says Bugs came in with a bang. They head back, Alex and Bugs together. Rob and Jessica ride alone in another taxi, making out.

Hannah tells Malia that her boyfriend doesn’t get why she can’t always answer the phone. In her interview, she says her boyfriend has a corporate job, and doesn’t understand how she goes away months at a time and can’t communicate. She loves him, and wants it to work, but she’s also serious about her career. Well, we see how that worked out. Malia says her boyfriend asked if she was okay when she didn’t respond to his texts, but she literally hadn’t looked at her phone. Jessica and Rob get into bed together. Alex and Bugs get in the hot tub, and Malia decides to join them. She asks if they’re low key in love, and says, it’s fine. She says the water is ice cold, and checks the controls. She tells them that they’re sitting in a tub of cold water; the heater isn’t on. Bugs points to Pete’s privates, and says, we can tell. Everyone goes to bed. On the phone, Lara says she misses Pete. Bugs tells Alex to tuck her in, and kiss her head. He gives her a quick head kiss, says he doesn’t want to make her uncomfortable, and goes to his own bunk.

Turnover Day. Bugs wonders if she’s alive, and asks if she was drowning in the jacuzzi. Malia says Alex was there to save her, and Bugs asks if she kissed him. In Bugs’s interview, she says she’s with a new crew, it’s the first charter, and she’s making out with one of the deckies. Rob tells Jessica that he’s ten years sober from narcotics. She asks, which ones? and he says, all of them, but he’s happy, even if he’s feeling overwhelmed. In his interview, he says he and his mom went to rehab together. He got sober, and left, and everything turned to sh*t. He starts to cry, and says he wanted to protect and help her, but he couldn’t. He misses her a lot. Her dying gave him the strength to continue to be sober. He wants to give his future family what he never had. It gave him power, and gives him strength not to repeat the pattern. In the crew mess, Bugs asks if she offended Malia or Alex, and Alex tells her about how she pointed out his shrinkage. Malia says she’s glad she could be there for all this.

The boat is cleaned up, and Hannah makes a list for the next charter. Bugs says, now she knows who Pete is; he’s shameless. He says his name is Shameless Pete, and she asks if he had a connection with Lara, and did she feel the same way. He says he’s going to do things Lara has never had done before, and she’ll fall in love. Bugs says he’s making her hangover worse. She asks if he’s had a relationship on a boat before, and he says he’s banged stews. She says she doesn’t know if he said that for shock value, and he says, stews are just down for the good time. His nickname is Party Pete. He says something rude that’s too bleeped for me to decipher, and she says he’s batsh*t crazy. He says, 100%, and tells her that he’s going back to work. In the meantime, Jessica has accidentally slammed her finger in a door, and Bugs finds her crying in the galley. Jessica hopes it’s not broken, and Bugs asks if she felt snap. Jessica says, yeah.

Next time, Hannah says Bugs went out of her way to throw her under the bus, Hannah tells Kiko to work on portion sizes, Bugs talks to Captain Sandy about Pete, Malia talks to Pete about Pete, and the captain says she’s considering letting Pete go.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

 

General Hospital

I shot an arrow into the air, and where it landed was on a GH Flashback from November 10th, 2004.

Sam was hooked up to machines in the hospital while Jason kept watch. Literal toddler Kristina was in the same position, awaiting surgery, while Alexis kept watch. Ric showed up with a restraining order to keep Sonny from seeing Kristina. Luke was still in the opening credits, but walked away in the group shot, but I don’t know if that was some kind of statement – about the show, Tony Geary, or both – or actually prophetic.

At first, I thought Nikolas had a twin, but it turned out to be lookalike Connor, who I remember zero about. Old Mike was working at Kelly’s. Courtney told Lois (I remember her!) that Sonny was really Kristina’s father, and Mike said Carly knew, but had kept it to herself. Sam was unconscious, and had lost a baby girl, and Elizabeth looked like she was twelve. Sonny tore up the restraining order, and told Ric that he’d wreck anyone who came between him and his daughter. He’d already lost one daughter, and wasn’t losing Kristina. Little Michael said he knew Sonny was sad about losing the baby, and Sonny reassured Michael that he and Morgan were safe. Michael asked if he was mad at God, but Sonny said he didn’t blame anybody, and told Michael, no matter how hard times get, family has to love each other. Michael asked how they could help, and Sonny said, be kind to each other. He told Michael, a way to respect losing someone precious was letting go, no matter how hard it was. He said, eventually they’d have to get on with their lives, but not today.

Alexis told Ric he was all kinds of wrong, and to focus on Kristina. Elizabeth told Jason that Sam’s feelings would be complicated, and not to let her deal with having planned for the baby’s homecoming alone. Jason said they already had a nursery set up, and Elizabeth said they’d prepared together, so they should mourn together. She said Sam was going to look for someone to blame, and hold herself responsible. Emily nursed Connor’s wound, and told him being a doctor was a dream of hers. He said he gave himself reasons for walking out of the military, but wondered if he really was just a deserter and his reasons were baloney. Courtney told Jason, when they’d lost their baby, he held her together and she wanted to help him now. Lois told Alcazar that Kristina was Sonny’s daughter, and Carly knew, but hadn’t told Sonny. She didn’t think Sonny was going to forgive Carly, and they’d be getting divorced, but Alcazar didn’t think Sonny was in a position to criticize. Kim was still old Carly, and Sonny told her that he was grateful Sam’s baby was going to give Kristina the stem cell infusion she needed. Carly said they were family, and she’d always want to help and support him, whether they’re married or not. Courtney told Jason that Elizabeth was right. He needed to help Sam, and they had to give themselves time to grieve. Potential parenthood had changed him, and Sam loved him. She said if he needed anything, she was there, and Jason said he’d be okay.

Lois told Alcazar that Sonny would go to the ends of the earth to protect his family, but she didn’t think he’d take Carly back. She’d broken a cardinal rule, and lied about family. She wondered if Alcazar would go back to Carly. Carly’s dad John, aka Corbin Bernsen, brought Carly and little Michael to a house, and tried to entice Michael with a skateboarding ramp in the backyard. Michael wasn’t having it, and said he’d wait in the car. Carly said she knew John wanted her to move away from Sonny. Jason told Sonny that Dr. Webber said Sam should have come out of it by now, but Sonny thought maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Jason said he wanted to be the one to tell Sam the baby was gone.

John told Carly that he bought the house for her. She said she wanted to take care of herself, but took the keys anyway, and John left. Sonny told Jason that he thought he’d had an understanding with Sam. She trusted him, even though he’d disappointed her. Jason said Sam always respected Sonny’s choice to stay with his family, and wasn’t angry about it.

Connor had a bad dream, and Courtney told him that he was safe. He said he was dreaming about his buddy Casey, who’d died because of him. He’d watched Casey die. Michael told Carly that he wanted to go home, and live with dad. Carly explained if she and Sonny couldn’t work it out, they would need to move out, and she thought this was a nice place. That was, until Alcazar called to her from the porch. Kristina made it through her surgery, and Sam woke up. Jason told her about the baby, as we watched (but couldn’t hear) through the window. Sam screamed, no! as Jason tried to comfort her.

💰 On Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, we got another tour of the mountainside mansion known as the Razor House, that the Joshes described as not just architecture, but a piece of art. Some of the amenities included a smart home system – or as JoshF called it, an expensive light switch – an open floor plan, floor to ceiling glass (all of the windows had shields that could be brought down to cover them), a glass elevator, a subterranean garage, a rooftop terrace, and an infinity pool and hot tub. Going for a mere $25 million. They met with architect Wallace Cunningham, and we found out the house was the inspiration for Tony Stark’s house in Ironman.

James and David took on a listing for a house from 1914 that the owner had totally revamped, having to contend with the Historical Preservation Society, and being restricted as to what overlays could be used. The owner wanted $3 million because of the sweat and cash he’d sunk into it, but that brought the cost to $1250 a square foot, when most of the neighborhood was going for $800. It was one of those houses that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but is fabulous inside. David and James talked owner Joey into a price reduction, telling him that potential buyers didn’t care about the hoops he’d had to jump through to renovate. Joey was stubborn, but agreed to $2.495 million.

Tracy was ready for a new chapter in her life, and decided to sell her own house. Her divorce had been finalized, and they were sharing custody, so she’d only have her daughters 50% of the time. She explained she’d fallen in love with the house while showing it, and had thought it would be her forever home. They’d paid $13 million, but she wanted $24, and was tweaking it to perfection before putting it on the market. Thinking she’d be too emotionally attached, she told her team they would be taking the listing. In wanting to keep her family life private, she informed them that the kids were not going to be on the show. She did want them to be part of the process of looking for a new place though.

In their dual interview, JoshA asked JoshF what superhero he’d be, and JoshF said, Barbie. I’m not sure if Barbie applies, but he also said his superpower would be Ken. The Joshes got ready to hold a black tie broker’s open. In the meantime, David and James were offered $2.1 million, and talked Joey into countering with $2.3. It always amazes me when they dicker over $100-200K, when they’re ultimately talking millions. The buyer’s broker pointed out there was no garage, and gave a best and final offer of $2.25. A deal was made, and the guys made a commission of $56,250. While that could be a yearly salary for a normal human, they do put in a lot of work.

JoshA said they were pulling out all the stops for the brokers open, where both he and JoshF hosted. He said JoshF was an acquired taste, and just when you think he’s normal, something gets blurted out, and you’re like, what planet are you from? The Joshes chest bumped over their success. In his interview, JoshF enlightened us that few brokers showed trophy listings, so they had to bus them in like cattle, renting two party buses. When one broker told JoshF the house was amazing, he said, thank you; I built it, and I had to laugh, since that sounded like something I would say. David cornered Tracy at the open house, asking JoshA to give them a moment, and accused her of talking smack about him when they’d both been up for a listing. Tracy said she’d merely pointed out that she’d made an effort to show up to talk to the seller personally, rather than sending one of her team as he had. JoshA wondered what was going on, but James pleaded ignorance. In JoshA’s interview, he said, you can’t mess with Tracy; she’s a bad-ass bitch. He was sure David was going to tuck his tail and run back to England. Tracy told David, if he’d really wanted it, he should have gone himself. He said she’d also inferred that he wasn’t interested in properties that were less than $10 million, and she said it wasn’t smack; she’d just told the truth. The Joshes and James joined them, everyone talking at once, until JoshA put an end to it, by saying they talked sh*t about each other all the time; just never put it in writing. The Joshes high-fived each other.

Next time, a rockin’ house party in a house that used to belong Howard Hughes.

I haven’t watched the Oscars since… I don’t remember, but no judgement on those who still enjoy them. You’ll have to wait until next year though.
