What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Jordan says she’s sorry Curtis is hurting, but if there’s one thing she knows, it’s that Curtis Ashford can weather whatever comes his way. And he won’t have to go through it alone. She takes his hand, and says, he has so many people who love him, and they’ll be right by his side, no matter what. He kisses her. Then he kisses her again.

Walking into Portia’s office, Taggert says, Portia can’t go off half-cocked gunning for Spencer. It’s going to backfire on her. Portia says she’s tried to look the other way, especially since it might alienate Trina, but all the while, Spencer keeps becoming more and more a part of her life, and alienating Trina from her. He says, but she’s seeing progress. Why blow it now? She asks why he’s not with her on this. She doesn’t get it. He says, when Trina was rescued from the Haunted Star, he told her to back off, but she’s doing the exact opposite; she’s doubling down. Portia says, maybe that’s because Trina came back closer to Spencer than ever before, and he says, which they anticipated, given what they went through. Are there valid concerns about Spencer being in Trina’s life? Hell yes. But he’s starting to wonder if she’s laser focused on Spencer because she doesn’t want to focus on herself, her husband, and the state of her marriage.

Outside Kelly’s, Cody tells Scotty that he’s not asking for a team to salvage the Haunted Star like it was the Titanic. The necklace was on the boat when it went down. So why can’t they just cut through the red tape… Scotty says, because the WSB is all about the red tape. They’ve been down this road before. Scotty told him, it’s because they have to establish that the necklace belongs to Cody, which means he has to sign an affidavit that says he’s Leopold Taub’s son. Cody says, more red tape. Is that absolutely necessary? Scotty says he knows it’s like saying Genghis Khan is Cody’s father, but the WSB isn’t going to give Cody money just because he says so. They go inside, and Scotty says, Cody has to suck it up for 35 million dollars, and say he was the Taub he was born to be. Sitting at a table, Obrecht and James watch them.

Nina looks at a glossy color photo of Sasha that says, Beauty isn’t magic, it’s Deception, and another photo of Sasha with The Deceptor. Sasha asks if those are the new ads, and Nina shows her. Sasha says, it is amazing what good lighting can do, but Nina says, the woman in these ads doesn’t need any lighting to look beautiful. And she also looked beautiful on the Home & Heart shopping channel. Sasha says, Nina saw that? She’s not going to lie; it was white-knuckle time in front of those cameras, especially when she heard the sound of a baby crying in her earpiece. Nina says she couldn’t believe it when Lucy told her that someone deliberately tried to sabotage Sasha, and Sasha tells her not to underestimate how low some people will sink to get what they want. Nina says she never has, and she never will.

On the phone at the hospital, Michael tells Carly not to worry. He’s honoring Willow’s wishes. Nina won’t get anywhere near her. Dante comes out of the elevator, and says he couldn’t help overhearing, and Michael can tell him to mind his own business. Is that what Willow wants, or is that what Michael wants for her?

There’s a knock at Sonny’s office door, and Frank says, he has a visitor. Josslyn comes in, and Sonny says, this is a surprise. Is everything good with her mom and Donna? She says, everyone’s fine. This is about her. He tells her, go on, and Josslyn tells him that he always says he’d do anything for her. He says, no matter how she treats him, that always stands, and she says, good, because she’s about to take him up on that offer. He asks if she’s in some kind of trouble, but she says, it’s not about her. He says, then what’s it about? and she says, Dex. She wants Sonny to fire him.

Gladys walks into Pozzulo’s as Dex is saying hello to Frank. Dex says he needs to speak with Sonny, but Gladys says, take a number. Family first.

Michael says, Dante is right. It’s none of his business. Dante says, that’s not the first time he’s heard that today. He was interviewing a perp in the ER who said the same thing. He was in the building and thought he’d check in on them, but he’ll take his nosy butt out of here. Michael tells him, wait. He doesn’t tell Willow what to do. If she wants to make room for Nina, he won’t stand in her way, but she’s going through a lot right now, and he won’t stand for Nina intruding. Dante says he hopes for Michael’s sake and his kids’ sake, that changes. He had Sonny at his wedding. Anything can happen.

Sasha tells Nina that she’s gathering something else is brewing besides Deception’s ad campaign. Would it have to do with Carly or Willow? Nina says, no psychic channeling please. Sasha isn’t here to give her a reading or to listen to her sob stories. Sasha’s here so they can talk about the Crimson spread for her new product, The Deceptor; which she tried and it’s great. Isn’t Maxie joining them? Sasha says, of course (🍷). Maxie knows Deception has a lot riding on this campaign.

Scotty tells Cody, as Taub’s heir, they have to stake a legal claim. He knows Cody doesn’t like his father, but 35 million dollars will buy him a lot of sports cars, and a lot of therapy. Is Cody listening to him? Cody says, give him a minute, and walks over to Obrecht’s table. Scotty says, these kids have no priorities, and Obrecht introduces Cody to her grandson James. James shakes Cody’s hand and says, nice to meet him. Cody says, they have an ice cream sundae here, so is it a celebration? Obrecht says, yes. They just came from James’s moving up ceremony. Cody says, congrats; that’s awesome. Does James have any plans for the summer? Obrecht says, James is going to a great summer camp. She tells James to guess where Cody works, and James says, where? Cody says he works at the stables. Does James like horses? James looks away, and Obrecht says, James is a little afraid of horses, which might be a problem at his camp. Cody says, maybe they can do something about that.

Portia says, worrying to death about Trina going missing is the only thing that’s keeping her from replaying every wrong move she made with Curtis. She can’t stop thinking about hearing the hurt that was in his voice, and seeing the distrust and betrayal in his eyes when he looked at her. Taggert doesn’t know how hard she prayed for forgiveness, and wished she could go back in time and tell him and Curtis the truth from the start. Taggert asks if she’s told Curtis that, and she says she’s tried, but he won’t stick around long enough to listen, much less have a conversation with her. And Jordan, of all people, warned her more than once that lies are what drove a wedge between them. So how can she even blame Curtis for being mad about being deceived all over again? Taggert says, Curtis loves Portia and will forgive her, but she has to forgive herself. She has to stop feeling guilty and stop tiptoeing around Curtis. Tell Curtis she loves him, before it’s too late.

Jordan pushes away from Curtis, and he says, come on. Let’s get out of here. She says she’s tempted; he doesn’t know how much. But this isn’t the first time they felt that old spark. He says, maybe they should do something about it, but she says, before this goes any further – if this goes any further – they need to know why.

Cody says, James is friends with Leo, right? So is he. Something else they have in common is, Cody went to camp too. Is James looking forward to going? James says he doesn’t know. He hates mosquitos. Cody says, that’s something else they have in common. Take it from him, camp is worth a couple bug bites. James asks, why? and Cody says, when he was James’s age, his summers were really lonely. Until he went to camp, and met his best friend ever, Dante Falconari. They had a blast. James says, Cody knows Dante; he’s James’s godfather. Cody says, Dante is his oldest friend, meaning he’s known Dante the longest; not that he’s old. Funny. I always feel the need to clarify that too. He taught Dante how to ride horses, and Dante taught him how to paddle a canoe. James says, at camp? and Cody says, that’s where they first became friends. He bets when James goes to camp, he’s going to meet a kid he’ll become friends with forever too. And he might be able to paddle a canoe. James asks if Cody likes sundaes, and Cody says, who doesn’t? Of course (🍷). James hands him a spoon, and says he’s kind of scared of canoes too… and bats. Cody says, bats are awesome; they eat mosquitos. He takes a bite of James’s sundae, and James smiles.

Sasha says she thinks the text in the headline would pop more in white, but other than that, everything looks great. What does Nina think? Nina says, sorry. Sasha was talking to her. Sasha said, color, white… Yes, she can see that. Sasha says, Maxie’s not here, but it seems neither is Nina. They can reschedule. Nina apologizes, and says she can’t get her mind off of Willow. She’s alone in the isolation room; she doesn’t have the ability to hold her own children. Sasha says, or be held by her own mother, and Nina says, stop getting into her head. Sasha says she understands in her own way. Nina can talk to her. Nina says, it’s just that, if Michael and Carly have it their way, she’s never going to get close to Willow. She’s trying not to dwell on that. She just wants this transplant to give Willow her life back, whether she’s in it or not. Sasha says she’s going to talk to Carly and Michael on Nina’s behalf, and Nina says she appreciates the offer, but she wouldn’t put Sasha in that position. She has enough to handle lately. Sasha says, actually, she’s feeling very confident lately. Despite that attempt to get her to melt down on television, she held it together and came away stronger than ever. Nina says, yes, she did, and Sasha says she’s made up her mind. She’s going to petition the court to end Gladys’s guardianship. She’s taking charge of her life again.

Gladys says, tell Sonny that his Cousin Gladys is waiting, but Frank says, he’s in a meeting; door’s closed. Even the President and the Pope would have to wait. Gladys steps away, and Frank gives Dex and envelope, and says, the boss gave him this to give to Dex. He said Dex earned it. Gladys sees that there’s a ton of cash in it.

On the phone, Sonny says, let him know what they come up with. He apologizes to Josslyn, and asks why she wants him to kick Dex to the curb. She says, because she wants him to be free to make his own choices and live his own life, and Sonny says, if that’s what Dex wants, Dex should respect him enough to ask him to his face and not send her. Josslyn says, Dex doesn’t even know she’s here; she’s the one asking. Sonny says, she knew Dex was on his payroll when she met him. So why is she coming now. What’s changed?

Scotty comes over to Obrecht’s table with a bakery box, and says, the waitress said these cupcakes are for her, and James asks if he can have a cupcake, but she says, these are for later. James asks if Cody can come home with them and have one, but Scotty says, he and Cody have to take care of some legal business. Cody has to sign an affidavit. Cody says, he’s right. Sorry, pal. Obrecht says, an affidavit? and Scotty says, it’s no big deal. Cody tells her that he needs a legal document to establish his family background. It is nothing, but Scotty’s right; they have to get back to work. James asks if Cody can’t stay, and Cody says, for a few minutes. Does James like brownies? James says he loves them, Cody says, cupcakes later, brownies now, and they go to the counter.

Nina says, that’s great news that Sasha is taking charge of her finances and her life again. She’s so proud of Sasha. Sasha says she’s honored Nina is proud of her. She’s still a very important person in Sasha’s life. Nina says, it’s ironic, isn’t it? She once thought Sasha was the daughter she’d always wanted, and that turned out to not be the case, but now she’s closer to Sasha than her own biological child. Sasha says, Willow doesn’t know what she’s missing. For Willow’s sake, she hopes that changes soon. Nina says, Sasha’s a little biased, and Sasha says she is. Nina could have turned her back on Sasha when she found out Sasha misled her. Nina says, she kinda did, but Sasha says, after a while, Nina forgave her. If she’s the daughter Nina always wanted, Nina is the mother that she always wished she had. They hug.

Dante says he’s glad Willow could at least wave at them before she went to sleep, and Michael says, him too. Glimpses of her awake and alert are rare occurrences these days. Dante asks if Michael is okay, and Michael says he just has to keep telling himself that this will be over soon, and Willow will have a full recovery. Home stretch. Dante says he believes that, and tells Michael not to feel he can’t reach out for support if he needs to. He knows they don’t agree on some things, but Michael knows Dante’s got him, right? Michael says he does; thanks. About Sonny, they’re actually in a better place. As long as Sonny doesn’t lobby for Nina. Dante says, he’s going to do that; he loves her. Michael flashes back to Sonny agreeing to let Nina and Willow figure out their relationship on their own. Can Michael do the same? Michael tells Dante, at the end of the day, he’s counting on Sonny to choose his family over Nina, but Dante says he doesn’t know about that. It’s a long shot. Michael says, maybe; maybe not.

Josslyn tells Sonny, nothing’s changed. She fell for Dex, despite the fact he works for Sonny, and she owns that. I laugh, since I can’t imagine telling my father that I fell for someone. Sonny says, she’s her mother’s daughter; direct, and honest to a fault. She says she thought he valued honesty, and he says he’s come to an understanding with her brother Michael. Does she think they can’t also? She says she’s game. He can start by letting Dex go. He says, if Dex wants that, he knows where to find Sonny.

Dex puts the envelope in his pocket, and Gladys says, nice work if you can get it, huh? What did he do? Place a bet for Sonny? Ponies? Something else. Dex says he only bets on sure things; Sonny’s one of them. Josslyn comes out, and Gladys jets into Sonny’s office. She closes the door, and says, Cousin Sonny, this is your lucky day. Outside, Dex asks Josslyn what she’s doing here.

Portia says, it might be too late for her and Curtis, and asks if Taggert knows something. He says he doesn’t know anything. He just knows from experience that things can get out of hand. They can go too far, and you can’t go back. She asks if he’s saying she and Curtis have reached some sort of turning point, and he says, the guy dropped everything and risked everything to bring Trina back home. A lot of it was because of Trina, but a lot of it was because of her. Now it’s her turn. She has to decide what she wants, and then she needs to fight for it. He’s talking about the focus and tenacity she has when she fights for her patients. She says, what about fighting for their daughter? Is she supposed to just let Trina fend for herself against Spencer Cassadine? They both know how that ends. He says, she can’t send Trina to her room any more than she can make Trina forgive and forget what she’s done to her by turning her life upside down. Trina’s not her little girl any more. Portia says, she might be his though, and he says, she’s always going to be his, no matter what the tests say. Nobody can tell Trina how to run her life. He knows how stubborn Portia is, and no matter how hard it is to let this go, Portia has got to let Trina live her life. Then maybe Portia can concentrate on living hers.

Curtis says, he and Jordan have always had strong feelings, which is why they got together in the first place. Those feelings… He’s always had them. Maybe he always will. Jordan says he had other feelings about her too. Remember? Ones he couldn’t get past, involving mistrust and betrayal. She lets go of his hand, and says, that’s why they split up, and he moved on to Portia. The two of them rekindled their relationship and fell in love. He says, but that was before… and she says, let her finish. He and Portia were happy. She saw that. They bought a house together, and made it a home for Trina and his father. They exchanged heartfelt vows and got married in front of their friends and family. They had the fairytale ending. He says, but they didn’t, and she knows why. And here we are. She says, yes, here we are, but is this the last grasp for something that’s ended? Something they should let be over? Or will these feelings always be here, just waiting for them to rekindle them?

Josslyn says she’s not here, and leaves with Dex. Sonny asks what Gladys wants, and she says she has a proposal that’s in their mutual interest. As he knows, she’s in charge of Sasha’s day to day decision making, including investments. He says, for the time being. He heard during Sasha’s last TV appearance, she was doing okay and holding her own. Gladys says, thankfully, Sasha didn’t fall to pieces like the last time, but Sasha isn’t ready to handle her finances. He says, so Sasha should keep trusting her, and laughs. She says she knew he’d understand, and sits down. As it turns out, she has a knack for finances, which is why she’s letting him in on the ground floor of an amazing opportunity. Take it from her, it can’t miss.

At the Bistro, Maxie thanks Sasha for meeting her, and Sasha asks, what’s so important that Maxie had her run out of Nina’s office where they were supposed to have a meeting about Deception? Maxie says, that can wait. She has something to tell Sasha, and thinks she’ll want to know.

At Kelly’s counter, Cody shows James how to tie knots, and Scotty tells Obrecht that he thinks that kid is going to have a hell of a stomachache. She says, Nathan never got the chance to spend time with his son, and Scotty says he’s sorry about that. Nathan would have made a hell of a father. James has got a lot of people who care about him; even Cody. He’s not family, but maybe they’ll have more of these outings. She asks where this new and unexpected fondness for Cody came from. What’s his legal action all about? Scotty says he thought they weren’t speaking any more, and she says, they’re speaking now. He says, then hear this. He doesn’t want to ruin the surprise.

Portia says, if living her own life means ignoring all the big flashing warning signs when she sees Trina and Spencer together, Taggert can forget that. She won’t let this go. He says he’s not asking her to let this go. He’s just asking her to be smart about how she approaches their daughter. Trina has them, Curtis, Marshall, Jordan; all these people who care about her. Portia asks what he means by Jordan, and he asks if Portia thinks it’s a coincidence that Jordan was stuck in the elevator long enough for Portia to talk to that bartender and convince him to testify on Trina’s behalf. Portia asks if he’s telling her that Jordan did that deliberately. Did she tell him that? He says, she didn’t have to. They’ve been partners long enough; he knows her. The point is, Jordan also cares about Trina. Which means Portia can stop using Trina as an excuse, and start putting her energy into working on her marriage.

Jordan tells Curtis, it never ended for her. Even when things were at their worst, she was still ready to fight for them. He walked away from her… right into Portia’s arms. She’s not blaming him, or Portia. She’s come to terms with her part in things, and trying to be more mindful going forward, but did she ever stop caring, stop feeling, loving him? Never. She truly wanted him and Portia to be happy. She told Portia that she needed to tell him the truth, so Portia wouldn’t make the same mistakes she did. He tells her that he always said she was a class act, but Jordan says she wouldn’t give herself much credit. Does he know why she didn’t come to his wedding? In part, she was sitting it out because she knew what Portia was keeping from him. But mainly, it was because she couldn’t bear to hear him pledge his love to someone else. She still loved him that much. So before they go any further, she needs to know where he is, what he feels, what he wants. Is he on the rebound or are he and Portia really over? And if so, do they get a second chance?

Outside somewhere, Dex says, it’s just him and Josslyn now. What went down in Sonny’s office? She says she told Sonny that she wanted him to cut Dex loose, and Dex says, she told Sonny to fire him? She says, it was the only way she knew how to get him out of Sonny’s world, and he says, unbelievable. What did he say?… Don’t bother. Sonny said, if he wanted out, it was up to him to ask for himself. She says, he knows Sonny well, and he asks why she got involved in this. She says, maybe because Sonny will kill Dex if he finds out Dex has been working against him, and he says he knew the risk when he took the job. He doesn’t need her constantly trying to rescue him. She asks if he’s sure. So far, her track record’s awesome. He says he appreciates that. He appreciates her. They’re supposed to be in this together. She says, exactly. So no more risking his neck without telling her. He says, that’s unrealistic. He can’t run it by her every time Sonny asks him to do something, and he can’t have her going to Sonny on his behalf and asking Sonny to fire him when he doesn’t even know about it. She says she wants him free and clear of Sonny. She’s sorry. She thought that’s what he wanted too. He says, she knows he does, and kisses her.

Sonny tells Gladys, they have to wrap this up. He has somewhere he needs to be and something he needs to do. She says she’ll make it quick. It’s about Deception – the company. The thing Sasha was hyping on the Home & Heart shopping channel was just the tip of the iceberg. There’s a whole new line in the works; maybe a whole new division. New products need new investing. He says he’s sure Lucy and Maxie have all the financing taken care of, but Gladys says, there’s always room for more. This is a golden opportunity. He gets in now, he makes bank when this line hits the market. He asks, what’s in it for her? and she says she was thinking a finder’s fee. He laughs and asks, how big? She says she hadn’t thought of a percentage. She was just circling around, doing some calculating. He says, it sounds like a winner, but it’s a no from him, because his portfolio is fine. And she knows about the trouble Carly got in with the insider trading thing. It pretty much falls under the same umbrella. And she doesn’t want to open herself up to that, does she? She can thank him later, because he does everything he can to protect his family. He hustles her out the door, and asks Frank to get his cousin a big box of biscotti. He leaves, and Gladys wonders what just happened.

Dante looks at his phone, and tells Michael, apparently his perp just remembered he had a partner. He has to go back to the ER. Michael says he’s glad Dante stopped by, and Dante says, he is too. Michael sounded cryptic before. Is everything cool with him and Sonny? Michael tells him, let’s just say they found one point of understanding, and Dante asks, with Willow or Nina? Michael suggests Dante save his skills for he perp downstairs, and Dante asks him to tell Willow that they’re thinking about her; him, Sam, and the kids love her. Michael says, will do, and Dante says, don’t make Sonny choose between him and Nina. Michael tells him, say hi to Sam, and Dante says he gave it his best shot. He goes to the elevator.

Sasha says, Cody was in the studio the day of The Deceptor pitch? and Maxie says, according to Lucy, Cody found out they were messing with Sasha, and threatened to streak in front of the camera. And she believes it. He did it at the Nurses Ball. Sasha wonders if he’s still at Kelly’s, and Maxie says, when she spoke to Liesl, he was still there, checking up on James. Sasha says, excuse her. There’s something she needs to take care of.

Curtis tells Jordan that he’d love to say he has all the answers. But the truth is, his life’s up in the air. Jordan says, because of the DNA test? and he says, that’s a big part of it. He’d be lying if he said he knows how he’ll react if he finds out he’s Trina’s biological father. Or if he’s not. She says, that’s understandable. What about the other parts? He says he guesses after what he experienced in Greenland – that Victor Cassadine madness – coming out of an intense experience like that, shook things up for him. What is he doing with his life? He’s made this place a success, and he’s proud of that, but then he wonders, is this all there is? Because he’s feeling like it’s not enough. She says, sounds like he’s restless again. Is he wondering where his heart lies? He says he doesn’t know. He cares about Jordan way to much to make promises he’s not sure he can deliver. She says, why couldn’t she have been a little more honest with him, and him, a little less honest with her? He says, we are who we are, and asks if she can give him some time until he can figure out the rest.

Dex and Josslyn kiss, and she says she’s got it; they’re in this together. He says, they have to trust each other, and she says, she’ll trust him when he has to act alone sometimes, and he has to trust her. Does he? He says, of course (🍷), and she quickly kisses him, saying she’ll see him later. He asks where she’s going, but she says, trust me, and leaves.

Jordan tells Curtis to take the time he needs. Once he unravels the knots in his marriage, and deals with the results of the DNA test, he knows where to find her. He kisses her cheek, tells her, take care, and she leaves.

Portia and Taggert walk down the hall, and she says she’s glad he stopped by. He says he feels like he did all the talking. Did any of it stick? She says she heard what he had to say, and appreciates it, but she can’t be the only one to make their marriage work. Curtis has to want it too. Curtis knows how desperately she wants things to work out. So in the meantime, she’s not going to take her eyes off the other love of her life. She’s not going to let Trina become another casualty of the Cassadines. She’s going to make sure Trina sees Spencer Cassadine for who he really is.

Frank gives Gladys the biscotti, and she says she saw him hand Dex that big fat envelope earlier. What was that about? Some big deal he and Sonny pulled off? Frank says, she knows better than to ask that, being family and all. Gladys takes out her phone, and goes outside. She calls Selina, and says, she knows what she owes Selina, but she may have something that’s more valuable than money.

Josslyn asks if she and Michael can talk somewhere private, and he asks what she wants to talk about. She says, him… and Dex.

Scotty says, he and Cody have to get that thing signed ASAP, and Cody tells James that he’ll talk to James’s grandma or mom, and they’ll figure out a time James can come to the stables with him and Leo. Scotty walks them out, and says he has his car. Can he give them a lift? Obrecht asks where he parked, and he says, in the lot. She walks toward the parking lot, and Scotty says, things are looking up.

Cody eats the cherry from James’s sundae, when Sasha walks into Kelly’s, obviously looking for him.

On Monday, Carly asks how she and Drew beat this without turning on each other; Tracy tells Chase, forgive her and skip off into the sunset, or cut her loose; and Sonny tells Nina, peace comes with a condition.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Cameron’s graduation celebration at Charlie’s has begun, and Laura asks how it feels to be graduating. He says it’s awesome, and Portia says they’re so proud of all the kids have accomplished. Laura says, they persevered, even thrived. It’s truly admirable. Trina asks if they can believe they’re headed for college. Soon she’ll be in a dorm. Portia asks if she can please enjoy the last few months with Trina, and Trina says she’s not moving to another state. She’s not even moving to another city. Besides, she knows her mom, and Portia will be getting into all kinds of trouble with her out of the house. Freedom! She and Cameron high-five, and Curtis walks in.

Doc tells Nikolas, it was very nice of Ava to close Charlie’s for this. He’s just sorry she can’t be there. Nikolas says he is too, and Doc says Laura filled him in; he’s sorry to hear about the divorce. Nikolas says, there’s not going to be a divorce. He’s doing everything in his power to make sure Ava and Avery come home to him.

Nina walks into the gallery, and asks Ava if she’s ready for their long overdue catching up. She knows they said martinis, but she reconsidered, and brought wine for the occasion. Ava says, thank you, no. She’s mainlining water right now. Did they set something up? Not that she’s not happy to see Nina; she is. Nina says Ava doesn’t remember because they didn’t set anything up, but she saw Ava’s post from last night. Throwing her wedding rings at Nikolas’s foot? Ava says, one of her finest moments, to be sure, and Nina pulls up a chair, saying, Ava has to spill. When Ava mentioned divorce, she thought Ava was exaggerating. She and Nikolas were in love. What happened?

Bobbie says Josslyn got the biggest cheer when she went up to get her diploma, and Josslyn says, because they were so loud. Carly says, even Jason piped in, and Jason says, it doesn’t happen often, but when it’s something as important as Josslyn graduating high school… Josslyn says she’s glad he was there, and he says, him too. Michael says, his little sister, all grown up, and Josslyn says, college bound. He says, it seems like only yesterday he was teaching her to dive a speedboat, and she says, now he eats her wake. He asks if he can have a hug, or is she too cool for that now? but she says she’s never too cool for a hug, so they do.

Carly tells Jax that he doesn’t have to worry. Whatever he did to Michael, he doesn’t have to worry. Michael would never tell Josslyn. He would never do that to his sister.

Jason’s phone rings. It’s Britt, who says, she was thinking, since they got interrupted last night, how would he like to have dinner with her on Friday?

Jax tells Michael, what a day, and Michael agrees. Jax says he’s really happy for Josslyn, and Michael asks if they can not do this small talk thing. Jax says, he’ll get straight to the point then; thank you. Michael says, for what? and Jax says, for not telling Josslyn about what happened between them. Michael says, what happened? That’s a nice way of putting Jax blackmailed him. He’s not going to tell Josslyn because Jax is her father, and it would break her heart, but to be clear, he might be smiling in photos with Jax, but he hasn’t forgotten or forgiven him. Jax broke something, and the worst part is, he didn’t even have to. Jax made his choice, now he has to live with the consequences. Michael walks away, and Josslyn comes by. Jax says, there’s his graduate, and she asks if everything is okay. He says, everything is fine, but more important, how is she doing? She says she’s good, and he says, she just graduated high school with honors and she’s just good? She says she’s on the fence about going to Cameron’s party, and he asks if things are still tense between them. She says, it’s not so much tense, but distant. They’re headed in different directions, so she doesn’t know. Now that Cameron is going to PCU, she guesses all that could change. He says, if they’re drifting apart, and Cameron is no longer going to be a part of her life, would she miss him? and she says, yes, a lot. He says he thinks that says it all, doesn’t she?

Jason asks if Britt can meet him tonight, and she says, absolutely. What time? He asks if now is good, and she hesitates, but says, now is great. She’s in her room at the MetroCourt. He says he’ll see her soon, and she looks around her mess of a room. She says, crap, jumps up, and heads for the bathroom.

In the MetroCourt restaurant, Obrecht says she’s glad Scotty could join her for coffee, but he says he can’t really stay. He’s late. She asks if he’s meeting with a client, but he says, no. Cameron’s graduation party. Just like that – he snaps his fingers – Cameron is off to college. She says she sees; a family only affair. He says, Trina’s coming, and Trina’s mother, Josslyn… He doesn’t really know. She asks if he could bring a date.

Ava says she and Nikolas can’t be together, and Nina says, that sounds very different that not wanting to be together. Ava says, it’s not really what she wants, and puts her hand to her head. She says she has this headache, and really needs it to go away before Trina’s party. Nina says she’s so sorry. Curtis invited her. Ava asks if she’s going, and Nina says she doesn’t know. She has a gift for Josslyn, but thought it would be weird to just show up on Carly’s doorstep. Ava says, it would; that’s good thinking. Nina says she doesn’t mean to be rude, but Ava doesn’t exactly look party ready. Ava laughs, and says to tell her the truth, it’s the last thing she feels like doing, but she told Trina she’d be there, so she’ll be there. Nina asks if Ava has eaten, and Ava says, no. Nina suggests they grab a bite, and then go to the Savoy, and Ava says, okay. Nina says, great. Let’s go. Ava can tell her what’s really going on with her and Nikolas. She grabs Ava’s hand and pulls her up.

Curtis congratulates Portia on her day, and Portia thanks him. She says she didn’t realize he’d be there. Doesn’t he have to get ready for tonight? He says, please. He has people for that. Being the boss means you get to show up when the party starts. I dunno about that. It is the soft opening. He says, she looks beautiful. Is she ready to party, or what? She says she has to make a call to check on one of her patients, excuses herself, and walks off.

Trina and Cameron see Jake, and Trina asks, who won, him or Aiden? He says, won what? and she asks who gets Cameron’s room when Cameron goes to the dorm, and who stays in the one they share now? Cameron asks who says, he’s giving up his room? They’ll have to fight for it. Jake says, no battle. Aiden can have it. He likes the room he has. Cameron says, Jake is the older brother, and his room is bigger; Jake should have it. Jake says, his has better lighting, and Aiden doesn’t care. He spends most of his time in the kitchen. He’d rather keep the room he has. He tells them that he’s going to say hi to his grandma, and leaves. Trina says she guesses Jake is still mad at Cameron for accusing his father of killing Franco, and Cameron says he wishes Jake would get mad. He wishes they could have a huge, screaming fight, where Jake could unload all his anger, but it’s not like that; it’s just… polite. Josslyn warned him this could happen. That by the time he realized he was wrong and was ready to apologize, it would be too late. She says, it’s never too late. He’s Jake’s older brother, and Jake wants to forgive him. He’s just got to give Jake a chance. He says he’s apologized, and she says, keep apologizing until Jake knows he means it. Deep down, Jake misses Cameron as much as Cameron misses Jake.

Nikolas sits down with Doc, and says, whoever’s sending these threats, has Ava afraid for Avery’s life. Doc says he’s been keeping an eye on Ryan’s condition, and hasn’t changed at all, but Nikolas says he doesn’t think Ryan is the stalker. Doc says, Ava does, and Nikolas says, or someone equally as dangerous. He has to prove to her whoever is doing this is just playing head games, and there’s no reason for them to be apart. Doc says, it would help if they knew who the stalker was, and Nikolas says, it just so happens, he may find out tonight. Doc asks, how? and Nikolas says, he set a trap.

Jason tells Josslyn that he has to go, and she says, that’s okay. She thinks she’s going to go to Cameron’s party now… unless that’s weird. He says, for him? He doesn’t have a grudge against Cameron. She says, really? and he says he appreciates her having his back, but she never has to be the one who fights for him. He doesn’t ever want something he did to cost her a friendship or anything else. She thanks him, but says, she stood up for him because he was innocent. As much as she hated fighting with Cameron, she couldn’t pretend to believe something that she just didn’t. Yes, Cameron was grieving, and probably not thinking clearly, which is why she chose to forgive him, but defending Jason was as much for her as it was for him. He says he’s so proud of her; he loves her. She says she loves him too, and they hug. Jason goes over to Carly, and says, Britt called. He’s going to go see her. She says, okay, and he leaves.

Scotty says, so Obrecht wants to go to Cameron’s party? and she says, why not? He says he just didn’t give it any thought, and she says, he doesn’t want her there? He says he didn’t know she’d be interested, and she says, well, she is. He says, let’s go, and she says, yeah? He says, yah, and they get up. Nina and Ava walk in, and Obrecht hugs Nina, saying she didn’t know Nina was back in town. Nina says, surprise, and Scotty tells Ava that he has a little legal business to discuss. Nina and Obrecht step away to chat, and Scotty tells Ava that he talked to Nikolas’s lawyer about what they discussed. Ava says, and? and Scotty says, he knows nothing. She says, he knew nothing about how to proceed? but Scotty says, he knew nothin’ about nothin’. Nikolas never called him about the divorce.

Nikolas asks Doc, the stalker is focused on Ava, and where does she go every day? Doc says, the gallery, and Nikolas says, he added some extra security and connected it to his phone. If the stalker trips the silent alarm, he’ll know about it. Doc asks if the gallery doesn’t already have security, and Nikolas says, so does Windymere. It didn’t stop them from getting around it. He added a motion sensor at the entrance that only he knows about. Doc says Nikolas isn’t thinking of confronting this person on his own, is he?

Laura asks if Elizabeth has heard from Scotty, and Elizabeth says, he just texted and he’s running late. And he’s bringing a friend. Any idea who that is? Laura says she thinks she might.

Trina asks Cameron where Josslyn is, but he says he doesn’t know. She never gave him a formal yes or no. Trina says, she’ll be there. Josslyn and Cameron are back to being friends, right? He says he hopes so.

Britt straightens up her room like a madwoman, and gets dressed. Jason knocks at the door, and she tells him, come in. She took the liberty of ordering dinner since they have to eat, but the night is totally flexible. We can eat before… or after, or… What’s wrong? He says he has something to tell her, and really needs her to hear him out.

Scotty says hi to Elizabeth, who says she didn’t realize Obrecht was his mystery guest. Obrecht says she’s thrilled to be part of their family gathering, and Scotty says he’ll get them a couple of stiff drinks. Elizabeth says she’s glad Obrecht could join them, and Obrecht says she thinks Franco would be too, doesn’t Elizabeth? Laura tells Scotty, bringing Obrecht to a family celebration. Wow. Big step. She laughs, and asks if she’s reading too much into it.

Nikolas tells Cameron to enjoy his moment; he’s proud of him. He hugs Cameron, and goes to the bar. Cameron asks if Trina heard that Nikolas and Ava are getting a divorce. Trina says she did. Ava tried to hide it, but she looked miserable at the ceremony.

Ava tells Nina, she’s been getting threats. Nothing violent yet. Just a creepy little gifts and notes. Whoever is doing this obviously doesn’t want her and Nikolas together. Nina says, so that’s it? Some whacko is fixated on breaking them up, and Ava goes immediately to divorce? Ava says, not immediately, but everything changed once the whacko made it clear they could get to Avery.

Josslyn asks Carly if she’s sure it’s okay if she goes, and Carly says, it’s her graduation night. She can do what she wants… within reason. She hugs Josslyn, and says she’s proud of her. Jax says he thinks she speaks for them all, and Bobbie says, he definitely speaks for her. She hugs Josslyn, and tells her, have a good time. Carly says Milo is going to be with Josslyn all night. Don’t go anywhere without him. Josslyn says, copy that, and Michael says he loves her. You did good, little sis. She says, so sentimental, and he says, just this once. She asks him to give Wiley a kiss for her, and he says, of course (🍷). Jax says he’ll walk her out, and on their way to the door, she says she wishes Lady Jane could have been there. Jax says, him too, but she was with them in spirit, and so were Morgan and Sonny. She says, and Grandpa Mike, and he says, right. Everyone who loved her. Now go paint the town red, or whatever the PCU colors are. She hugs him, and says she’ll call him tomorrow. She leaves, and Jax tells Carly that he’s thinking of heading out, but she asks him to wait a minute. There’s something he should hear. They go back to the living room, where Bobbie and Michael are, and Carly says she knows they have lives to get back to, but bear with her minute. She has something important to tell them.

Britt says Jason sounds ominous, and he tells her, what he’s going to say changes things… a lot. She says, don’t make her stand there and dread it; spit it out. He says he and Carly are getting married. She laughs, and says that might possibly be the last thing she expected to come out of his mouth. She would think he was joking, but he doesn’t do that. He says, it’s not a joke, and she says, when did… How long have you been.. engaged? He says, it just happened, and she says, like right before he got there? He says, yeah, more or less. They realized it’s what’s best for the family and each other for them get married, so that’s what they’re going to do. She says, okay. Thanks for the update. You can go now. She heard him; he’s getting married. She opens the door, and says, get the hell out of her room. I hate Carly even more now, and hope Jason never sleeps through another night.

Laura says, so? and Curtis says, so… She says he and Portia seem to be enjoying each other’s company a lot. Has he asked her out yet? He asks if they’re in junior high, and she laughs and says, yes. He says, they’re just friends, but she says, not from where she’s standing. Friends don’t generate those kind of sparks.

Josslyn comes in, and Trina says, told you. Cameron says Josslyn made it, and Josslyn says she did. He hands her something to drink, and she says, they’ve been friends for a long time; nothing can change that. Trina says, finally, they can celebrate properly. She doesn’t know what else to say except, they did it. Cameron says, they did it, and Josslyn says, this is huge. They clink Solo cups.

Nina says, the teddy bear with Ryan’s voice is beyond creepy. Ava says, it’s disturbing. Luckily, Avery thought it was just a toy, but she got the message loud and clear. She even sent Avery to stay with Carly, just in case. Nina says, that must have been hard, and Ava says, it broke her heart, but she knew it was the right thing to do, like she knows she and Nikolas must divorce. Nina says, Nikolas doesn’t feel the same way, and Ava says, no, but despite how much they love each other, she and Nikolas are coming from different places. Kiki was murdered, and it’s not something she’s just going to get over. Nina says, she shouldn’t, and Ava says, Nikolas doesn’t have a memory like that, but she does. She simply can’t take any chances. If she ignored this, and stayed with Nikolas, and something happened to Avery, she wouldn’t survive; she just wouldn’t.

Carly says she and Jason are getting married, and Bobbie says, Jason who? Carly says, what does she mean, Jason who? Their Jason. Jason Morgan. Bobbie says, it’s a little sudden, and Carly says, it is, and it isn’t. They’ve both been struggling since Sonny died, and left a big hole in their lives. She knows they’re not unique to that; everyone has their own grief and loss. But after their friendship, and all the years they’ve known each other… Sonny wasn’t just her husband; he was Jason’s best friend. The three of them were a team, and the central person is now gone, and Jason’s the only person who really knows what she’s going through. And not just that. They need each other, and Sonny would want them to take care of each other. They’re not just doing this for themselves, but they’re doing it for their family, and she’s asking them to accept it. I hate Carly.

Jason goes to the door, but closes it. He says, yes, he’s marrying Carly and he can’t be with Britt the way they were, but he understands what she’s facing. He said he’d be there for her, and he will. She says, wow, unbelievable. Thanks but no thanks. She doesn’t need his pity, and definitely doesn’t need his support. She doesn’t know why she’s so surprised. It was obvious from the day they met, Carly comes first. They have a commitment between them that can’t be broken. She witnessed it the night Carly literally opened a vein for him, and gave him her blood. That’s great. Good for them, but she’s not going to stand in line waiting got a few minutes of his time, like some charity case, because he happened to be with her when she found out she was dying. He says, that’s not the way he sees her… but she says, it’s good. Trust her. He did her a solid. Even she can admit that, with his whole, if it suffocates you rather than frees you thing. He’s right; now she knows. She has her whole life ahead of her, but you know what? He will not be there for her. He will not show up for her. He will not lend her a hand, or anything. Because he’s now otherwise engaged, pun intended.

Ava tells Nina, she has to admit Avery is happy at Carly’s. The next thing on her list is finding a place to live. She can’t camp out at this hotel forever. Nina says she has an idea. Why  doesn’t Ava camp out in her newly decorated guest room? She’ll be the first to stay in it. Ava says she couldn’t impose, but Nina says, she’s not. Besides, it used to be Ava’s apartment. Ava says Nina paid fair market price, and Nina says, thanks for the not discount. That doesn’t mean she can’t offer a really good friend a room. Besides, Ava would be doing her a favor; she’s hardly ever there, and her future plans are up in the air. Ava asks if it’s got anything to do with Nina’s new friend, and Nina says, she and Mike/Sonny have a connection; at least it feels that way. It has none of the disfunction of her past relationships. Ava says, so no lying, no deception, like with Valentin, and Nina says, no. Mike is an open book. Ava asks, what’s this guy do? and Nina says, he’s a bartender. She met him through her friend Phyllis. They have a lot of fun together. Ava asks, how much fun? and Nina tells her to get her mind out of the gutter. They haven’t even had a real date. She’s just happy to be around him. Ava says, it sounds so nice, like it has real potential. Nina says, could be, and Ava asks, when Nina isn’t in Port Charles, is she thinking about being with Mike.

Michael congratulates Carly, and Bobbie says, yeah. If any two people know what they’re getting into, it’s Carly and Jason. They trust each other implicitly. Carly says, they do, and Bobbie says, if it feels right, she’s all for it. Michael says he is too, and Carly says, so soon after his dad passed? He tells her, like she said, dad would want this. For her, for Jason, for all of them. He believes Sonny would understand better than anyone. Carly says Jax is awful quiet over there, and he says no one ever stopped her and Jason from doing what they wanted to. He wouldn’t dream of trying now. She says she’d appreciate it if he kept it quiet. She’d like to tell Josslyn herself; she knows Josslyn is going to have a lot of questions. He says, ya think? and she asks if that’s a yes. He says he thinks he’s going to do what he thinks is best for their daughter, and walks out. Bobbie says she guesses not everyone is thrilled with this development.

Britt asks why Jason is still there, and he says, because she matters to him. Not just because she saved his life. He cares about her. Britt wipes her tears away, and says he has an interesting way of showing it. He says he’s not the kind of person who spends a lot of time thinking about if things were different, but if things were different, they’d be at dinner on Friday; they’d be in that bed right now. She says, remember when he told her, he’s not good at what ifs? She really liked that about him. Don’t lose it now; just get out. She turns her back to him, and he reluctantly leaves. She cries, and I hate Carly.

Someone dressed like a ninja walks into the gallery with a tool bag. We see their eyes, and it looks like it might be a woman. Hmm… I wonder if it’s Hayden.

Laura asks Portia, where’s Trina? and Portia says, she went to the gallery to talk to Ava. She wanted to let Ava know that she doesn’t have to feel pressured to come tonight. Laura says, always thinking of others, her little girl, and Portia says, not so little anymore. Laura guesses not, and Portia says she’s so sorry to hear about Ava and Nikolas, but Laura says, relationships don’t happen in a vacuum. Sometimes outside forces can pull a couple apart. Portia looks at Curtis.

Cameron tells Josslyn, this is going to be the summer of the lake, doesn’t she think? Before things get crazy? She says, it sounds great, but she doesn’t know how much time she’ll be able to spend there. The PCU volleyball team starts training in a couple of weeks, and their schedule is intense. He says he totally understands. She’s going to be pretty busy. She says, looks like it.

The ninja hears someone, and grabs their tool bag. Trina walks in, and call out, asking if Ava is there.

Nikolas’s phone chirps, and Doc asks if that’s what he’s been waiting for. Nikolas says, yeah. He has to go. Doc says he’ll come; Nikolas shouldn’t go alone. Nikolas says he’ll call the police on his way there, which we all know he has no intention of doing.

Nina tells Ava that she’s thought of relocating, and it’s not just Mike. She’s fallen in love with the town. She loves the people, and loves who she is when she’s there. Of course (🍷) this was before Michael changed his mind about Wiley. Now she’s just trying to figure out what to do about Mike. Ava says, that’s not a big deal. Get to know him some more, figure out what he means to her, and if she can’t live without him, maybe he could come there. Nina says, no, that can’t happen, but Ava says, he’s a bartender; he can work anywhere. Nina says they should get going. Trina’s party is probably starting… Ava asks why Nina has to choose between having Mike or Wiley in her life. She can have both, can’t she? Nina says, trust her. If she knows one thing, it’s that there’s no future for her and Mike in Port Charles.

Bobbie says she doesn’t know how Carly is going to tell Monica, but she would proceed with extreme caution. She is not going to be happy. Michael says, actually… No. Bobbie is right. She’s going to hate this. Carly says she and Jason have weathered worse than Monica. They’ll be fine. Jason comes in, and Bobbie tells him, congratulations, and hugs him. She says, welcome to the family, not that he hasn’t always been a part of it. She says she has to go, and tells Carly they’ll talk soon. Jason says, so Michael’s mom told them the news? and Michael says, she told them that they’re getting married, and she explained why, but she didn’t explain everything, did she? He looks at Carly.

Curtis tells Portia and Laura, he’s about to get ready for the next party. Laura says, have a good time, and Portia says she’ll see him there, and he leaves.

Scotty says he’s so glad Obrecht came with him, and she says he’s welcome for the suggestion. He asks if that’s a smile he sees on that pretty face of hers, and she says she’s just happy. She’s with a nice man, and Britt is with a nice, if somewhat dangerous man. All is right with the world.

Britt shoves the cart with dinner on it into the hallway, leans on the door, and cries. She pulls herself together, and says, to hell with him. She gets her bag and jacket, and leaves.

Josslyn follows Cameron outside, and says, even with volleyball, she’ll always make time for him and Trina. Save her a chair at the lake for her. He says, it’s going to be a great summer, and she says, yeah, but they start with tonight. He says, they do. Shall we? He gives her his arm, and she takes it, and says, we shall. Scotty and Elizabeth watch them from the window.

Trina goes back into the main gallery room, and runs into someone. I think it’s Nikolas, but we don’t see a face, and he and the ninja are both dressed in black.

Tomorrow, Curtis tells Portia that he thinks it’s intentional, Doc believes the trap has been sprung, and Michael doubts that’s the reason why Carly and Jason have to get married.

👑 🥀 Good Night, Sweet Prince…

I was remiss in not posting this yesterday. Stuart Damon was truly a treasure. I actually stopped watching GH for a while after they killed Alan off. Realizing their mistake, and bringing him back as a ghost did not make it any better. I still miss him reading the Christmas story at the hospital party every year, and no one will ever be as charming of a prince.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Jason is brought to the visiting room, and the guard takes his shackles off. He sits down and waits.

At Carly’s, Laura is on the phone, leaving Nikolas a message to please call her back. Carly is also on the phone, and says, they need help. They need to get her mother and Florence out now. They both grab their coats, and jet out the door.

On the phone at Jordan’s, Taggert thanks someone for the update. He says, let him know if Cyrus does something sketchy… True. He’s usually doing something sketchy, but if it’s out of the ordinary, call right away. Jordan comes in, and asks who he was talking to. He says, Epiphany agreed to be his eyes and ears at the hospital. He does know Britt was transferred to keep her in the dark, but Cyrus has been keeping a low profile. She says, until that changes, Taggert isn’t on house arrest. The ankle monitor works anywhere. He should go out and get some fresh air and sunshine. He says she’s trying to get rid of him, and she says she’s not, but she does think Cyrus is taking up too much real estate in his head. Cyrus has taken enough already. He asks if she’s okay, and she says, actually, she’s on her way to talk to Curtis about their divorce.

In the prison yard, Alexis tells Elda, crazy weather, huh? and Elda asks who Alexis is calling crazy, and Alexis says she’s not calling Elda crazy. Elda asks if Alexis is calling her a liar, and Alexis says she’s trying to apologize. Elda says, Alexis talks too much, but she wouldn’t if she didn’t have any teeth. Actually, I think that would be her tongue, but, semantics.

Trina arrives at Carly’s house, and she and Josslyn hug. Josslyn says, it feels like forever since they’ve seen each other, and Trina says Josslyn has barely been around this week. Josslyn says she’s been super busy doing some extra credit work, and volunteering at the soup kitchen, and volleyball is crazy. Trina asks, how’s the ankle? and Josslyn says she has a brace now, so she can play through it. Trina asks what she’s missing. It’s the spring of their senior year, and everyone else is enjoying their last days. Why is Josslyn being so hyper?

At Perdino’s, Martin tells Cyrus, as thrilling as it is to sit with him while they check their phones, he has to dash. Cyrus says, don’t go, but Martin says he’s had enough coffee, and it’s too early for booze. He’s sure he’s needed at the office for some reason. Cyrus says he’s expecting important news, and wants Martin to celebrate with him. Stick around.

On the phone, the Colonel tells Nikolas that his men are ready to go. Should they proceed? Nikolas says, do it. Go

Josslyn asks how things are with Trina’s dad, and Trina says they’re getting together after she and Josslyn are done. Josslyn is glad they’re patching things up, and Trina says, her too. She’s just sorry she wasted time being mad at him, and Josslyn tells her to just make the best of their time now. They seem to be doing that. Trina says, she thinks it’s weird that Jordan took responsibility for him, and Josslyn says, which the judge probably allowed only because she’s the Commissioner. He probably wasn’t allowed to stay with anyone else. Trina says, that’s part of it, but she was so mean to Jordan when Jordan was secretly helping her dad. Whenever she saw Jordan, she gave her attitude. Josslyn says, as mean as Trina was to Jordan, she was worse to Curtis, and Trina asks, how is that helpful? Josslyn say she’s sure they understand, and Trina says, her point is, Jordan has always been nice to her, and it makes her feel worse. But enough about her. What’s going on with Josslyn? Why is she being an even bigger overachiever at the least appropriate time? Josslyn says she wants to pad her transcripts, but Trina says, anyone who’s going to look at them, has seen them already. Josslyn is the complete scholar/athlete package. Josslyn says, Southern Coastal doesn’t think so. They waitlisted her.

Taggert says he’s sorry Jordan and Curtis couldn’t work things out, and she says she is too. He wonders if that’s why she wants him out of the apartment, but she asks what that would have to do with anything. He says they wouldn’t be breaking up had he not come back, but Jordan says, let her be clear. No one broke up her and Curtis except her and Curtis. He says, not true. All of their problems can be traced back to Cyrus. She says she doesn’t want to think Cyrus has that kind of power over her life, and he says, if he hadn’t been undercover for so long, trying to take Cyrus down, he and Portia might have had a chance. Portia wouldn’t have needed to find someone else. Jordan says Portia told her. She knows Portia was with Curtis. Taggert says, but Curtis wasn’t the problem. Cyrus tanked their marriage, like he’s doing now with hers. That’s why they have to keep looking to find someone to stop him.

Curtis walks into Perdino’s, and Cyrus tells Martin, there’s someone he must say hello to. Martin asks if Cyrus realizes that anyone with the character he proports to have, would steer clear of him, because they don’t believe he is of such character. Does Cyrus intend to prove them right? Cyrus says he’s doing no such thing. He’s going to offer his sympathies. Martin asks if he can do that without sneering, and Cyrus asks if Martin must malign him so. Martin says, yes, and Cyrus says Curtis has moved into the MetroCourt. That means he and Jordan split up. How can he, as a person of character, ignore Curtis’s pain?

Anna apologizes to Jason for not coming sooner. He says, she’s been busy, and she says she has. Robin and Noah send their love. He says he sends them his, and she asks if he needs anything. He says he’s fine, and she says he’s been fighting. We see his hand is bruised, and he says, it’s not his first time in there. She doesn’t have to worry about him. She says she’ll try not to, but she helped put him in there.

Elda pins Alexis against the wall, and asks if she’s stupid. She said, shut up. Number one, words are no good in there, and she’s going to make sure Alexis remembers. A woman walks in with her crew, and says it looks like Elda has caught a new fish.

The Colonel says they breached the parameter without resistance. The men there retreated before his team went in. Nikolas asks if he means Carly’s people let them in, and Ava says, maybe it’s a trap, but Nikolas doesn’t think so. It’s a farmhouse in Vermont, not an armed encampment. The Colonel says they’re in the house, and Nikolas asks if there’s a problem. They lose contact, and Nikolas wonders, what happened? Carly and Laura walk in, and Carly says, it’s simple. She gave her men a heads up that they were about to be attacked.

Elda addresses the woman as Steph, and asks if she wants in on the action, but Steph says, no. Throw her back. She’s not worth the trouble. Elda says Alexis was mouthing off and disrespecting her, but Steph says, it sounds like Elda is disrespecting her. Elda says, no, she doesn’t do that, and Steph says, then forget about her, and get out of here. Elda leaves, and Alexis thanks Steph, who says, no problem. Alexis introduces herself, and Steph says she knows who Alexis is. She needs to keep her head down. Alexis says she’ll do that, and thanks her again. Steph says, that’s why they pay her for, and Alexis says, what? but Steph is already gone.

Trina tells Josslyn, that doesn’t mean there’s still no chance for her to get into Southern Coastal, but Josslyn says the number is small. That’s why she’s going all out to prove she’s good enough. Trina says she thinks Josslyn needs to stop, and Josslyn says, quitting sends the right message, but Trina says, in this case, it does. Josslyn has done more than enough, and if they can’t see that, it’s their loss. The doorbell rings, and Trina asks if something is wrong. Josslyn says, it’s weird. The guard should call before he lets someone in. She goes to the door, and opens it to Cameron.

Jordan tells Taggert that she spent the past year trying to put Cyrus away, and all she’s got to show for it is a broken marriage. He says, she got out from under Cyrus’s thumb, but she says he’s using GH as a front, so that he can manufacture a dangerous drug. Taggert asks how that worked out, and Jordan says, Laura and Monica did sway the board. He asks if that’s a small thing, and she says, it’s a small victory compared to putting Cyrus away. They need a breakthrough, now that Cyrus is doing his best to live up to the new respectable image that she gave him; another thing she’ll always regret. Taggert says, that image is paper thin, and when Cyrus messes up – and he will – they’ll be there.

Curtis gets a beer at the bar, and Cyrus walks up behind him. Cyrus asks if Curtis is tired of the MetroCourt restaurant already. Living in a hotel does have its draw backs. Obviously, it’s not a good sign for his marriage, and he was rooting for them. Curtis doesn’t turn around, but says, walk away. Cyrus says he’s far from finished, and Curtis turns to look at him.

Jason tells Anna, only one person is responsible for him being in there, and it’s not her. She says he warned he about Peter, but she wouldn’t listen. Peter framed Obrecht, and now he framed Jason. Jason says, whatever happened already is done. What is Anna doing about it now? She says she and Carly are working to prove Cyrus paid Gladys, and thanks him for sending Carly to her. It’s been a pleasure. He says he knew they’d be more effective working together, and she says, because of the divergent approach to problem solving? He says, something like that. Have they made any progress? She says their plan was put on hold, and he asks if Peter’s got something on her.

Carly tells Nikolas, points for discovering Florence’s location, but he’s too late. She was ahead of him. He says Laura told Carly? and Laura says he gave her no choice. It’s not the way to deal with Cyrus. Ava tries to interject, but Carly tells her, stay the hell out of it. Nikolas says, don’t talk to his wife like that. He listens on the phone, and says, the target, the guard, and the nurse are locked in the panic room. Carly says, the nurse is her mother, but Nikolas tells the Colonel, extract the target. If they resist try not to cause any injury. Laura says, tell them to stand down before someone is killed.

Jason asks if Peter threatened Carly or Robin, but Anna says it’s someone not in his circle. He asks if it’s Britt, since he walked in when Peter was threatening her once, but Anna says, no. Jason says, Peter threatened someone Anna cares about who’s not Robin, and she says she’s doing what she can to eliminate the situation, but her hands are tied. He asks if she came there to tell him that there’s nothing she can do for him, but she says, no. She came to ask for help.

Cameron says, hi, and Josslyn returns the greeting. Trina says, as much as she’d love to stay, she’s meeting her dad. Josslyn thanks her for stopping by, and she says, her pleasure. Now work things out. Cameron comes in, and Josslyn asks, what brings him by? and he says he missed his best friend.

Cyrus says he also wants to congratulate Curtis on his change in career. He hopes Curtis has more luck as a club owner than a P.I. It must have been frustrating when he had a case where he knew the suspect was guilty, but he wasn’t good enough to find evidence. Curtis asks how Cyrus’s mom is. Does Cyrus know? Cyrus says they’re not talking about his mother, but Curtis says, they are now. Cyrus might be interested to know she’s fine, and Cyrus says, and he knows how? Curtis says he saw her the other day, and man, she was happy as a clam. She was chatting about how proud she was of her son. It was Martin this, and Martin that. Come to think of it, he doesn’t recall her having a good word to say about Cyrus. It doesn’t surprise him, and he’s sure it doesn’t surprise Cyrus. He takes a drink, and Cyrus says Curtis hasn’t seen his mother. Curtis says Cyrus is right. He’s just messing with him. He was going to judge Cyrus for kicking a man when he’s down, but he decided to do the Christian thing, and walk a mile in his shoes. He has to say, it was all good watching Cyrus’s eyes glaze over with such rage. How does he manage it? Cyrus says he admits Curtis surprised him. A virtuous upstanding man, capable of well thought out cruelty. Curtis says don’t tell him they’re more alike than either of them is willing to admit, because they aren’t. Cyrus says, aren’t they? How badly does Curtis want to find out?

Maggie asks if Alexis is okay, and Alexis says she thinks so. Maggie says, Elda didn’t do much damage; she’s lucky. Alexis says Elda was about to smash her face in, when a woman named Steph interrupted. Maggie says, no one messes with Steph. Why did she help Alexis? Alexis says she has no idea.

Carly tells Nikolas to get his men out now, but he says, if Cyrus doesn’t get his mother today, Alexis could be hurt or killed. It’s not a risk he wants to take. Laura says she told him she has a good relationship with the warden, and she’ll talk to him. He can put protection in place. Nikolas says, the authorities won’t help if Cyrus sends his people in. Carly asks if he’s willing to risk Bobbie’s life, and Florence is old and frail. She could have a heart attack and die.  What will Cyrus think then? Nikolas tells Carly, there’s a simple solution. Tell her men to open the room, and hand Florence over. She says, Florence is her only leverage, and he says, that’s not his problem. She says, the hell it isn’t. If Cyrus gets her back, he’ll turn Port Charles into a big drug den. He asks if she isn’t being melodramatic, and Laura says, they saw what the drugs did to Sasha. What does he think they’ll do when Cyrus unleashes them to the kids on the playground? He says, that’s a problem for law enforcement. Alexis is in trouble now, and he’s not risking her life for what ifs. It’s up to Carly. She can surrender Florence, or his men will go in and get her. Carly picks up the phone, but Laura says, wait.

Josslyn says she misses Cameron too, and they hug. She says she really hates when they fight. He says, him too, and asks if they can stop fighting, and put this behind them. She says, definitely, and he says, awesome. He says he’s glad it’s over with, and she says, her too. How has he been? He says, not great actually. Things at home are pretty rough. She asks if it’s because of what he said to Jake about Jason, and he says he apologized multiple times. He doesn’t think Jake hates him, but he doesn’t think Jake has forgiven him. Josslyn says, he will, and Cameron hopes so. The worst part isn’t that Jake is upset with him, but why he’s upset. He really hurt Jake, but it wasn’t his intention at all. She tells him that she’s got to say she’s surprised Jake is still angry. What did Jake say after Cameron told him that he realized Jason didn’t kill Franco?  Cameron asks why he’d say that. He’s not going to lie to his brother. She says, so he still thinks Jason killed Franco? and he says he knows Jason did.

Trina goes to Jordan’s apartment, and she and Taggert hug. He thanks her for coming, and says he was counting on this all week. She says, her too, and asks if Jordan is there. He says, no, but she doesn’t have to be uncomfortable around Jordan. Trina says she thinks it’s strange that Taggert is living there, when Jordan’s husband moved out, and he says if he hadn’t made this arrangement, Trina would be visiting him in Pentenville. She says, obviously, he and Jordan go back a long way. What she’s asking is… were they ever, you know, a couple?

Maggie asks Alexis, what’s the story? and Alexis says, Elda terrorized her, and a woman named Steph sent her packing with a withering gaze. Maggie says, Steph is connected, and Alexis asks, how? Like the mob? Maggie says Alexis didn’t hear it from her, but Steph is one of Cyrus’s people.

Cyrus asks if he’s hearing Curtis right. Is Curtis threating him? Curtis asks if he was unclear, when Jordan joins them. She tells Curtis, don’t play his game, and Cyrus says she’s looking lovely as always. She and Curtis walk away, and Cyrus goes back to his table. Martin starts to get up, and Cyrus asks where he’s going. Martin says, for God’s sake, he’s got clients, and things to do. Frankly, this petty power trip, seeing if Cyrus can get his baby brother to sit, stay, and heal, is getting tired. Cyrus can text him later, and regale him with the glories that he missed. Cyrus says he promises it will be worth Martin’s while. He’s sure it won’t be long.

Anna says, what she can’t tell Carly is why she can’t make a move, and Jason says, Carly thinks she’s on her own, and Anna is afraid Carly is going make it worse. Anna says she knows Carly is going to make it worse. He’s been there before. She doesn’t blame Carly, but Carly has to stand down. She thought Jason might persuade her. He sighs, and says he can try, but in the end, Carly is going to do what she’s going to do.

Carly gets on the phone, and tells Tony that he needs to listen. She tells him to go to the panic room and open the door. Give the men Florence. Make sure her mother gives the men Florence’s medication. No violence; it’s over. Nikolas says she did the right thing, and she tells him that he’s a naïve idiot and a sucker. He’s an arrogant rich boy with a lot of money and no common sense. He played right into Cyrus’s hands. Now Cyrus knows he has leverage if he needs to use it. She tells Nikolas, enjoy doing Cyrus’s bidding, and keep telling himself he’s a hero. Ava wonders if anyone has loved their aunt more, and Carly says, of course (🍷) Ava is wrapped up in this. She brings out the worst in everyone. Carly leaves, but Laura hangs back. Nikolas says he knows Laura has something to say, and Laura says, damn right she does.

Taggert tells Trina, he and Jordan worked together, that’s it. He never cheated with her. Trina asks, how about after their split? but Taggert says he didn’t see Jordan again until he came back to Port Charles, and by then, she was married to Curtis. Trina says, not for much longer, but Taggert says, they’re friends; that’s it. Trina thanks him, and says it was bugging her. She had to know. He asks what she wants to do. He was thinking they could go to the PCU campus and walk around, check out where she’ll be staying for the next four years. She says, they could do that… He says, it’s a good idea, but… and she asks if he knows when his trial is going to start. He says he doesn’t want her to worry, and she says she won’t. He says, really? and she says, no. How can he ask her not to worry about her father going to prison? He says there’s nothing they can do about it, good or bad, so they should focus on the good stuff, and Trina should enjoy what’s left of her senior year. She’s at the top of the heap, and should ride that wave until graduation. She says, speaking of which, is there any chance of him making this one?

Jordan tells Curtis not to let Cyrus get to him, but he says, he wasn’t. Cyrus took it upon himself to get in Curtis’s face. She says she knows what Cyrus hates most of all, being ignored. Do that next time. He says, next time, he’s going to punch Cyrus in the face. Then he’ll ignore him. She says, once their divorce is public, Cyrus will stop bothering him. He wonders if that isn’t wishful thinking, and she says, regardless, Cyrus isn’t Curtis’s problem anymore.

Maggie tells Alexis that Cyrus is pretending to be a respectable citizen, but don’t believe it. Alexis says she doesn’t, but Cyrus doesn’t have a connection there anymore. Maggie says, he’s still running the place. Whatever Alexis does, don’t cross them. Alexis tells her, Steph said something bizarre. She thanked Steph for the intervention, and she said she was just doing what she’s paid to do. Is that an expression or does Maggie think someone is paying Steph? Maggie says, she doesn’t know, but it would explain why Steph helped her. Alexis says, Steph would usually not do that? and Maggie says, she’d usually be taking bets. Chances are, Cyrus is paying her. Alexis says, that must be it, but she doesn’t get it. What has she done for Cyrus to protect her?

Nikolas asks how Laura can judge him for protecting Alexis, and Laura says he should have let her do it. Cyrus threw down the gauntlet, and he couldn’t resist the challenge to show his strength, and show his own power. Carly was harsh, but she wasn’t wrong. He showed Cyrus how to get him to do his bidding. He has no power over Cyrus; he’s in Cyrus’s debt. Nikolas says, as long as Alexis is protected, they’re even, and Laura says, as long as Alexis needs Cyrus’s protection, they’ll never be even. She throws up her hands, and says, why? He was just starting to get his life back together. He fell in love, and he was happy. He was acting like the Nikolas she remembers. Her beautiful son, strong and competent. He says, he is her Nikolas, but she says, no. Her son has made a terrible mistake. She leaves, and Nikolas thanks Ava for having his back. Ava says, of course (🍷), and he says he knows she disagreed with his plan. She may as well let him have it.

Josslyn tells Cameron, she doesn’t understand. If he still thinks Jason killed Franco, why is he there? He says he told her; he missed her. She said she missed him. Can’t they agree not to talk about Jason? Josslyn says, it’s not like they’re disagreeing on songs they like. Jason is a person who’s been part of her life her entire life. He says, that person murdered his stepdad, and she says he needs to leave. He can’t come into her mother’s home, and bash her best friend. He can’t tear down people who are important to her, and then not talk about it. It’s not working. He asks if she’s saying they can’t hang out anymore.

Anna tells Jason, since Carly lost Sonny, she knows how important it is for Carly to protect everyone she loves, but for everyone’s sake Anna needs time. He says, once she reverses the situation, what’s the end game? and she says she’ll deal with Peter. He says he doesn’t know what that means, and she says it means she’ll get as much evidence as she can to put Peter in prison. He says, if she can’t? and she says, then she won’t have choice. She’ll have to end things. He says, it’s one thing to say that, but when it comes down to it…. She says, when the time comes, she’ll do whatever is necessary, even if it means eliminating Peter.

Cameron says he knows Jason is like family, and Josslyn says, Jason is family. He says, if she looks at everything, and puts her feelings aside, she’ll see, but she says, doesn’t he think she’s done that? Even after she’s taken everything into consideration, she can’t ignore what she knows. He says, how Jason hates Franco? and she says, how Jason loves Jake, and how he cares about Cameron’s mom. Cameron asks if they can’t put their feelings aside, and not talk about it, but she says, ignoring it won’t make the problem go away. He asks if she’s saying she doesn’t want to be friends anymore.

Taggert says he’s hoping with all his heart to be at Trina’s graduation. He has faith that a jury of his peers will see that what he did was wrong, but he did it for the right reasons. Lives were saved. Trina is glad he changed his plea, and he says he is too. Right now, all he’s interested in is embarrassing her at her graduation. She’s going to take over the Louvre. She can do anything she wants, and God willing, he’ll be there, cheering her on.

Martin says he’s so bored, he wishes he had a headache. Cyrus’s stern tone and austere look aside, he’s out of here. Cyrus’s phone rings, and he says, the wait is over, regardless. He answers, and says, yes… Excellent. Proceed. He tells Martin, good news. Mother is coming home.

Maggie asks if Alexis ever defended any of Cyrus’s people; she’s not judging. Alexis says she’s no friend of Cyrus’s; the opposite. Maggie says, then she’s got nothing. If she was Alexis, she wouldn’t ask too many questions. Whatever the reason, someone is looking out for her. Alexis flashes back to asking Nikolas if his offer to help involves a jailbreak, and him saying, no, but she’ll be protected in Pentenville. The other inmates will know she’s off limits. She remembers asking him what he did, and him telling her, let it suffice to say he’s taken steps to make sure his favorite aunt stays safe. In the yard, she says, Nikolas, what did you give Cyrus to get him to protect me?

Ava tells Nikolas, she may not agree with his methods, but she knows what it’s like to make decisions no one understands. She knows he did it to protect his aunt, and she loves him for that. He says, really? She is amazing. She says, of course (🍷) she is. That’s why he married her. And he’s… He says, amazing too? and she says, he has his virtues, but what she was going say is, he’s not alone anymore, because has her. She’s his wife, and she loves him. He says he loves her too. He’s so lucky to have her. She says, damn right, and they hug.

Jason sits in the visiting room, when Carly comes in looking pissed off. She sits, and says, Cyrus got Florence back. He puts the phone down for a moment, gathers himself, and picks it back up. She says they can’t wait any longer. They have to move.

Tomorrow, Scotty tells Elizabeth, it’s a good time to get close; Carly says they’re going to do it her way, and do it now; and the firehouse dance in Nixon Falls happens.

September 30, 2019 – Nelle Has a Great Day, Last Charter Of the Season, Restaurant Extraordinaire, Goodbye Shiloh, Hello Martin, an Interview, a Move & Tuesday For Chairmen

Standard

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Yep. I missed it. I was listening though. The main takeaways are, Willow went to visit Harmony, and Nelle is in the park doing clean-up detail, where she ran into Josslyn. Nelle tells the guard that Josslyn was the child she donated a kidney to, and is given leeway to talk to her.

Michael goes in to see Carly, who tells him, the newest Corinthos is arriving ahead of schedule. He’s glad he got there in time, and she tells him to wish her luck. She needs all she can get. She’s nervous about the C-section. Michael wonders why she’s having one, and she says, it’s mandatory for the baby. He asks, why? and Sonny says he’ll let Jason tell Michael. Michael says he knows Carly can handle it, and Jason says, they’ve got this. They go out in the hallway, and the nurse says it’s time to get prepped. Carly says, whether they’re ready or not.

At the park for a run, Kristina tells Alexis that she brought up Shiloh in group therapy. She talked about how much she liked him at first, to the point she was ready to follow him anywhere. Until they helped her. Alexis says, a lot of people love her, and will do anything to help her, and Kristina says she’s lucky to have them – and Willow. When Willow shared her story, it made Kristina see Shiloh for the predator he is. It made her wake up. Alexis says she’s glad, and Kristina says she’s trying to do the same in group, sharing her truths to help someone who’s going down the same road. She’s glad Shiloh is dead, but glad he lived long enough for her to face him down in court, and prove he doesn’t control her. Alexis says Kristina is making good progress. She’s glad it’s over for her, and Kristina says, it is and isn’t. She’s still working though her regrets, especially the Pledge. She’d said she saw Alexis deliberately run down Kiefer, when she was so out of it, she didn’t even remember being there, and his death was completely an accident. Kendra – remember her? – sees them, and Alexis introduces her. Kristina says Kendra looks familiar. Have they met before?

Jordan thanks Sam for coming, and Sam says Jordan didn’t give her a choice. Jordan says new information has come to light on Sam’s involvement with Shiloh’s death. Sam says Shiloh attacked Jason with a gaffing stick, and she grabbed whatever she could find; the signal flare. She said it all in her statement, and doesn’t know why she’s there. Shiloh kidnapped Wiley, assaulted Dev, and attempted to assault her. He also confessed to the murder of his father. Jordan says there’s nothing to corroborate him murdering his father; the rest can be verified. Sam ask if Jordan is going to continue with questioning, and Jordan says, yes. Sam says, then she’s not saying anything else without her lawyer. Jordan tells her, call Diane then. They sooner they’re done, the better for everyone involved, especially Sam.

Josslyn says it doesn’t appear Nelle has progressed, but Nelle tells Josslyn that she’s a model inmate, and is on work detail. Josslyn says, reach for the stars, and Nelle says she made a lot of memories with Michael in the park. Josslyn asks if the stale prison air isn’t cutting it. Nelle says, it’s temporary. Soon, them running into each other will feel normal. Josslyn asks if Nelle is expecting her to be simpatico. Nelle tried t to murder her brother. She can stay in Pentenville for the rest of her miserable life. Nelle says prison has actually given her time to reflect. There’s one thing she’s wanted to tell Josslyn for a long time – she forgives her.

In a mask and scrubs, Sonny asks if Carly is ready. She says she doesn’t have a choice. The baby is on its own time table. Sonny can’t wait to meet the baby. He tells Carly that she looks beautiful, and Carly says they’ll see how long that lasts. He asks how she’s feeling, and she says she can’t feel anything. Sonny says, good; she’s not in pain. They’ll get through this, okay? Carly says, okay. Dr. Johannsson is introduced to her, and he says he’s going to assist with the delivery. He’ll keep the area of the spine sterile, and put dressing on it before surgery is done. Carly tells Sonny, let’s do this. Let’s meet our baby.

Kendra tells Kristina, people say that all the time. She guesses she has one of those faces. Alexis says Kristina works at Charlie’s, and Kendra says that’s probably it. She was hooked on the place from the first time she met Alexis. Alexis explains that Kendra is the trainer making her do this, and Kristina says she’s having a good effect. Is Alexis learning a lot? Alexis says. Kendra is helping her focus on this, and her new therapist – did she mention that she has a new one? – is helping her work on that. She’s focused on good relationships. Kristina asks if Alexis’s relationship with Neil falls on the healthy side of the spectrum. Alexis asks Kendra to give them a minute, and Kendra goes to the car to get her backpack. Alexis says her relationship with Kristina takes precedence over her relationship with Neil. If Kristina has a problem with it, say so, and she’ll put an end to it.

Josslyn tells Nelle to save her forgiveness. She doesn’t want it. She’ll never forgive Nelle for what Nelle did to her family. Nelle apologizes for being insensitive. Josslyn is still grieving Oscar. Josslyn says Nelle is such a bitch. She hopes Nelle chokes on her fake sympathy. Nelle says she didn’t mean to anger Josslyn. Josslyn says the only reason she’s not slapping Nelle’s lying face is because the guard is there, and she doesn’t want to risk Nelle being mistaken for being a victim. Josslyn tells the guard that Nelle is making her uncomfortable. Nelle says she hopes Josslyn finds more compassion the next time they meet.

Jason tells Michael that the baby has spina bifida, but it’s not the worst case, and treatable with surgery. Michael asks how it’s going to effect the baby, but Jason says they won’t know until after the surgery. Michael wonders why his parents didn’t say anything, and Jason tells him there was no point in worrying them, since there’s nothing they can do. He tells Michael not to worry. They’ll closely monitor the baby’s delivery, and his little brother or sister will have the best possible care. Sam calls, and Jason asks if she’s still at GH. She says, no. Jordan summoned her to the PCPD, saying they have new information about her role in Shiloh’s death. He tells her, sit tight. He’ll call Diane to meet her there. He tells Michael that he has to run. Apparently, there are more questions about Shiloh’s death. Let him know when the baby is born, and he’ll be back as soon as he can. Michael says he’ll be there for them.

Dr. Navarro tells Carly that she Just made the incision in Carly’s abdomen. How is she doing? Carly says, fine. She’s not feeling anything. How is it going on the doctor’s end? Dr. Navarro laughs, and says Carly is doing an incredible job. So is the baby. They’re going to see the baby’s face in a few minutes.

Kristina says she told Alexis that she needed time to process. Neil has helped so much, and if it makes Alexis happy, Kristina is happy for her. They exchange I love yous, and hug. Kendra comes back, and Kristina says she’ll let them get to work. She tells Kendra that it was nice to meet her, and not to go easy on Alexis. Kendra says she won’t. Kristina leaves, and Kendra say she caught the nice mother/daughter hug. Alexis says Kendra has no idea how far she’s clawed to get there. Kendra says, there’s nowhere to go but up, right? And she’s here to help Alexis do it.

Sam says she was assured the case was closed, but Jordan says they have new evidence. A nurse came forward who overheard a conversation between Sam and Jason. She reads from Sheri’s statement that Sam kept thinking about the horror Shiloh put her sister through, and Willow, Wiley, and herself. She wanted to make sure he never hurt anyone again. Did she shoot Shiloh to defend Jason, or to make sure he’d never hurt anyone again?

Harmon tells Willow, it sounds like a violent ending. Shiloh holding Sam and Wiley hostage, and threatening Jason. She’s glad no one else was hurt. It’s for the best. Shiloh got what he deserved. Willow says it helps that there must have been some sliver of conscience, since Shiloh let Dev and Wiley go. Harmony says at one time, she believed in that man, with her whole heart and soul. He was everything to her, but she let Shiloh and his vision consume her to the point that she betrayed Willow and Willow’s father. Willow says Shiloh manipulated her, and so many others. There’s one person he never hurt, Harmony’s grandson. Wiley is safe now.

Nelle walks into a visiting room, and says, it’s good to finally meet face to face. Has he decided to take her case? It’s Tad the Cad, now Martin Gray, and looking like Colonel Sanders. He says, assume nothing, and you’ll never be disappointed.

Josslyn runs into the hospital, and asks Michael where their mom is. He says, she’s having a C-section. Josslyn says, sorry she’s flustered. He’ll never guess who she saw in the park. She doesn’t give him a chance to guess, and says, Nelle. She was on work detail, and made a big deal about how she saved Josslyn’s life. Michael says he’s so sorry, and Josslyn says, please. She’s so over feeling obligated or grateful. Nelle can’t manipulate her anymore, even though she tries every chance she gets. She mentioned Michael, and Josslyn told her that he’d moved on to an amazing, beautiful new girlfriend. Nelle tried to hide it, but Josslyn could tell she was pissed. Nelle tried get back at her, offering fake sympathy about Oscar. Just hearing Oscar’s name come out of Nelle’s mouth, it took everything Josslyn had not to slap her. The guard was there, so she didn’t want to take the risk, but she turned Nelle’s limitations to her advantage. Michael asks how she turned a confrontation with his lunatic ex into a business strategy, and Josslyn says she told the guard that the prisoner was making her uncomfortable, so Nelle was moved along. Michael says, genius move. She says that’s why it took her so long to get there. She hopes the baby is born soon. She can’t wait to meet them. Michael says him too.

Sonny tells Carly that she’s doing great. She says she’s trying, and the doctor says the baby is almost there. We hear crying, and see the biggest newborn ever. Dr. Navarro says, it’s a baby girl. Sonny says, she looks precious, but I’m not even sure that’s a real baby.

Kendra tells Alexis that she looks fantastic. How does she feel? Alexis says, everything hurts, and she’s having trouble sleeping. Kendra says, exercise should have the opposite effect, and Alexis says she spends the night worrying, mostly about her children, but she feels better and has more energy. Kendra says it’s nice hearing when her clients notice a change in their body and mind. Alexis thanks Kendra, but Kendra says she’s doing all the hard work. Alexis says she’s trying to do what’s good for her, and give her children space. Kendra asks how that’s working, and Alexis says she’s not going to lie. She has trouble staying in her own life. She has the urge to hover, but she’s resisting it. Kendra wants to introduce Alexis to a new component toward a better life, and Alexis says, no more squats, but Kendra takes a big jar out of her backpack.

Diane tells Jordan that she’s more surprised than concerned that her client was called back in for questioning for the second time in less than twelve hours because of hearsay. Jordan says, the nurse heard Sam say that she stopped to consider her actions. She knew what she was doing when she shot Shiloh in the back. It wasn’t self-defense, but payback. Diane asks if she presented this to the DA. Jordan doesn’t say anything, and Diane says, of course not. Robert isn’t going to listen to an unsupported allegation. A nurse who thinks she heard a conversation in a crowded hospital after a long day. It’s nothing that will stand up in court. They’re done there.

Carly holds the baby, and says, so beautiful. This is definitely a real baby, and actually looks like Sonny. Dr. Johannsson says there’s little or no damage to the surgery pathways, and the spine should be fine. Sonny says he loves the baby so much already. He’s going to take care of her. He’s going to give her the world and all the love in it. Carly says she can’t wait to tell everyone the baby’s name. It’s been hard keeping it a secret. Sonny is glad they had a secret together, and says, welcome to the world, Donna.

Kristina joins the others at the hospital, saying she was on a run, and her phone was off. She asks how the baby is, and Michael says Carly had a C-section a while ago. She was in good spirits when he talked to her. Josslyn feels like they should have heard something by now, but Michael says, they’re taking extra precautions. Josslyn asks, why? Is something wrong? Kristina asks, what is it? and Jason says, tell them. Michael says, the baby has spina bifida. It’s serious, but they’ll get through it together.

Martin tells Nelle that he hasn’t decided to take the case yet. He wanted to meet her first. She says now that they’ve met, is there something she can do to help or convince him to take the case? He suggests she pump the breaks a little. He doesn’t like rushing. She says her parole hearing is coming up fast. Did he look over her records? He laughs, and says, it’s pretty damning stuff. She tried to murder her baby’s father with her ex-boyfriend, who’s a cop. And they have the whole thing on tape. Nelle says she was under enormous pressure. She was pregnant, alone, and felt ganged up on. Her hormones were making the decisions for her; she wasn’t in control. Now she is. She knows he can help her. He represented someone in a similar situation, and got an acquittal for a case more difficult than hers. Her childhood was abusive, and she’s struggled her whole life. She got pregnant, and thought she was happy. She thought the baby’s father loved her. Then the baby died, and she went to a prison she’ll never escape. Hasn’t she paid her debt for life?

Kendra tells Alexis, this is a brand new product, and Alexis says, yay! Protein powder. Kendra says it’s a supplement that gives the nutrients we don’t get in food. It’s made in small batches with only the purest ingredients. Alexis looks at the container, and says it’s in Italian. She wants to translate it, and make sure it’s something she wants to take. Kendra wants her to take it in confidence, and wishes all her clients were so meticulous about what they put in their bodies. Kendra’s phone dings, and she says she has to make a quick call to a client. She steps away, and we see she’s gotten a photo captioned Kiefer in the summer of nineteen-whatever.

Sonny is glad he and Carly had time with the baby. She’s so perfect, it’s hard to imagine there’s anything wrong. She’s so tiny. Carly says, tiny, but fierce. She can handle it, and so can they. They tell Donna that they love her, and the nurse takes her. She’s wheeled out on a tiny gurney for babies.

Martin tells Nelle, sorry she lost her child, but truthfully, he doesn’t know if it will have any bearing on her parole hearing. She says she’s not looking for sympathy. She’s been a model prisoner from the moment she came in. She has special privileges. Martin says he knows. The warden sang her praises. She says, he’s a kind man. She’s had time to reflect on the decisions that led her there, and she’d never sink to those lows again. It makes her sick to think about how much pain she caused. She wants to make it up to them, but she can’t do that in there, can she?

Sonny tells the kids he has good news. Carly had the baby. Kristina asks if it’s a boy or girl, but he says he’ll let Carly tell them all at the same time. Josslyn asks how Carly is, and he says, tired, but happy. Kristina asks how the baby is, and Sonny says, everything is going according to plan. The baby is in surgery. He got to hold his baby, who’s a heartbreaker even now. He can’t wait for them to see for themselves.

Kendra comes back, and Alexis says, everything checks out. Kendra believes it will help with Alexis’s workout, and help her sleep. It has double the electrolytes to help her well-being. She’ll be hydrated, and ready to go. Kendra suggests Alexis try it; she’ll join her. She puts a scoop in Alexis’s water, and Alexis shakes it up. Kendra puts a scoop in her own water, and Alexis says, bottoms up. Kendra barely touches it with her lips, but Alexis takes a couple of swigs. I’m wondering what the blip it is, and what Kendra has to do with Kiefer. As no doubt, we all are.

The guard tells Harmony, time’s up. Harmony thanks Willow for telling her in person. Willow says, it’s going to be okay. Wiley is safe, and that’s all that matters. Harmony says it’s nice seeing Willow without that weight on her shoulders. She looks at peace. Willow says they’re all free now, and Harmony says, speak for herself. Willow says, free from Shiloh. Harmony says at least Willow and Wiley are. He can’t hurt them anymore. She takes a lot of satisfaction in that. Willow is happy that Harmony stood up to Shiloh. She’s proud of her. Harmony says she just followed Willow’s example. They touch hands against the glass between them.

Nelle asks what Martin is thinking, and he says he’ll represent her at her hearing. He thinks she’ll make a compelling impression on the parole board. She says, that’s fantastic news, and thanks him. She asks, what’s next? and he says his office will be in touch.

While Nelle is being led back to her cell, she passes Harmony, who’s wiping tears from he face. Nelle asks, what’s wrong? and Harmony says she just got difficult news. Nelle says, not about her grandson? and Harmony says, Wiley is fine. It’s about his father. Shiloh is dead. Nelle says she’s so sorry. Harmony is led away, and Nelle says, this day keeps getting better and better.

The kids go in to see Carly. Josslyn says they heard she did a great job with the delivery. How is she feeling? Carly says she feels fine, and can’t wait to see the baby again. Sonny says the know the baby has spina bifida, and Josslyn says, it will be okay, whatever happens. Carly says she knows. What else do they know about the baby? Sonny says they don’t know whether it’s a boy or girl. He thought she’d want to tell them. Carly says they have a new baby sister. Josslyn says Avery will be so excited, and Michael asks what her name is. Sonny says, Donna, and Josslyn asks how they came up with the name, and Kristina says, Donna from the old neighborhood. Sonny is surprised she remembers, and says, Donna was a great lady in the old neighborhood. People loved and hated her, sometimes both. Josslyn asks, why? and he says, because she was kind and loyal, and could keep a secret. You could talk about your problems, who you loved, your fears, and she’d just listen, not judge. She wouldn’t tell a soul. She was tough as nail, and had no patience for fools. If you were annoying, she’d get in your face. She hated bullies, young or old, and she was fearless about that. Most of all, she was kind, loyal, and generous. One of the greatest things about her was that she could always make you smile, no matter how you felt. It’s just the way she was. Carly says, it’s how their Donna is going to be, and they group hug.

Sam tells Jason that she should have been more careful, but Jason says, the nurse was out of the room. How would Sam know she was eavesdropping? Sam says when she saw Sheri last night, she was nice, but then a few hours ago, she seemed unfriendly. Diane says she’d do research on Sheri, but it’s hearsay, and inadmissible in court. Sam says, Jordan doesn’t seem to think so, but Diane says, Jordan is doing her job. They should be prepared for more questions. Fortunately, they have her on retainer. Json says, Michael just texted, and Carly had the baby. He didn’t say whether it was a boy or girl. Sam says they have to go and find out. Diane says she has to text Max. He’s been on pins and needles.

As Jason and Sam are about to leave, Jordan comes back. She tells Sam that she’s under arrest for the murder of David Henry Archer, aka Shiloh.

Tomorrow, Franco says what he and Kim have is real, Kim tells Terry that Drew is real, Laura says she has one night to search Windymere, and Sam says Shiloh found a way to hurt them even from his grave.

Below Deck Mediterranean – The Finale

Villafranche. We slide back a little, with the captain telling Hannah about the importance of having the table set before the guests get up. Hannah says that she had two people up while the guests were up the night before, and Captain Sandy says the deckhands were up, and washed Hannah’s effing dishes. Anastasia told the captain she was too busy to set the table. Not one thing is set up. There’s no fresh orange juice. Hannah says the plan was to set up for brunch at 10:30, but the captain says she wants it now. She wants all of the interior on deck. Hannah tells Ben, two hours until service. In Captain Sandy’s interview, she says she was making a point that it’s a nice touch to wake up to a set breakfast table.

Captain Sandy compliments João on his management, and having it together when the guests wake up. She says, this is why they charter a yacht, and not a cruise ship. She thinks the table should be set at 5:30-6:00. She talks to João about finding him a boat. In her interview, she says, it’s all about helping people ascend in the industry who want to. It’s her passion, and she’s investing in him. Ben makes muffins. Jack asks Aesha if she had a nice sleep. Hannah tells the stews it’s time to set up for brunch. She tells Anastasia that Captain Sandy told her that they have different views about service. She thought it was important that two people were up when the guests were awake. The deck crew puts out the slide.

The table looks fabulous. It’s a nautical theme, with a life preserver as the centerpiece, and messages in bottles for the guests using the parchment paper Anastasia made. Captain Sandy thinks it’s cool. In her interview, she says it’s amazing, but she doesn’t want to come down on Hannah to get that result. She tells Hannah the table is amazing, and thanks the deck crew. Colin thinks they did well. Anastasia tells Ben that she’s on edge, and he says, four more hours. Hannah pours coffee. Jack asks how João has put up with him all season. João says he asks himself that every day.

The guests wake up, and start coming to the table. Hannah gets coffee, and they haul anchor. In the captain’s interview, she says the anchor was her Achille’s heel. We flash back to all the anchor problems over the season. She says, the Sirocco became her bitch. Hannah tells Captain Sandy the guests love the table. Anastasia asks if they’ve read the messages in the bottles, but Hannah says they’re waiting until they’re done eating. Captain Sandy says, the port is closed. She saw smoke, and apparently, a boat caught fire. She tells João about the change in plans. In her interview, the captain says it’s the final day, they have beautiful weather, and there’s a freaking fire that closed the port. She’s not sure where they’re going to go.

The captain tells Hannah they’re going to do a drive-by in Antibes. In her interview, she says thankfully, the weather is good because they’re going to have to find another port. The guests sit down for brunch. The dude that Hannah was talking to the night before, barely says good morning, and in her interview, she thinks someone has guilt over chatting with her. The guests admire the table, and in her interview, Anastasia says, of course they love it. It’s beautiful. Ben asks Hannah for some help, and the food is served. More eggs benedict. I’m dying here. In Ben’s interview, he says he has a lot of respect for Hannah as a friend. Professionally, not so much. He’s driven by the challenge of the job, and she’s not. For that, he feels sorry for her. Colin tells João, they made it. He thought the captain had been sh*tting on them the whole time, and now they’re ballers. Hannah tells the guests there was an explosion on a yacht, so they can’t use the port, but she’ll let them know what’s going on when they know. I’m sure talk of an explosion on a yacht is a comforting thought to guests on a yacht. Ben checks on the guests, and asks what Randy’s favorite bite was on the entire trip. Randy says dinner the first night was very detailed. In Ben’s interview, he says his catering business isn’t as grueling. He was afraid to get on the boat, wondering if he still had it in him. We flash back to the guests sending food back, and Ben saying it’s enough to get him to give up cooking. He thinks he overcame it. A guest calls Ben an artist. They look at their messages, which are corny/funny. One guest is impressed with the paper.

The captain wonders where their berth will be, and tells the deck crew to prepare to stand by. Jack jokes that he’s kicking Aesha out of their cabin; he’s had enough. Captain Sandy call João to get the deck crew. They’re docking in Antibes. The guests take pictures. Anastasia pretends to interview Jack, and asks if he’s excited to be docking the boat, and he tells her to get away from him, calling her a feminist. In her interview, the captain says fortunately, they got a dock in Antibes. Unfortunately she has to back all the way in, but she’s had experience at this. We flash back to some tight squeezes. The guests watch, and declare her a parking genius. Captain tells them, well done. She tells Anastasia it’s been an absolute pleasure working with her; she’s amazing. They hug. Hannah hears them, and looks bummed. Anastasia says she needs to be off the boat. She has anxiety.

It’s the last line up, and everyone says goodbye to the guests. Randy compliments everyone, and tells Ben that he’s an artist. he thanks Captain Sandy for making the yacht home for a couple of days. He says, this is for her, and gives her an envelope. The captain asks if the crew heard; it’s for her. Everyone laughs, and they go back inside. Aesha says she feels energetic and suggests they do another one. Anastasia says, eff you. Hannah tells Anastasia that she had so much to prove to Captain Sandy this season, she’s disappointed. She said they expect different levels of service, when she was just saying how happy she was. It was like a backhand. She would have preferred a backhand. She says she can’t do it any more than this. She tried to be perfect all season, and feels like a failure, when she’s been doing her best. Anastasia says Hannah has to tell the captain, and hugs her.

Aesha doesn’t want to pack João asks how Jack feels, and Jack says, sad. He wants to keep going. João appreciates that Jack respected his position. This is his career; his passion. He might even call Jack for a job. Jack says he’s pushing it now. In Jack’s interview, he says they went from hates to mates. He’d definitely work with João in the future, but only if he was the boss. João says Jack met his challenge, and Jack says he can’t wait for that phone call. It’s time for the final tip meeting.

Captain Sandy says they actually made it. From charter one to seven, they never had a full crew. With charter eight, it was the first full crew, then Ben came. That he could produce a lunch like he did that day, was amazing. She feels like he brought something to the crew that was lacking, and would love to work with him again. Ben thanks her for having him. In Captain Sandy’s interview, she says she’s at the level where she wants an A team that has that passion. She says on charter nine, João got sick, but overall, they did an amazing job. Her expectations of service are, however you worked on the last boat stays on the last boat. In Aesha’s interview, she wonders what the bloody hell the captain wants. They were doing their job, and doing it well. The tip is $15,000 USD, or $1185 a person. She tells them their season total was $155K, or $14,420 a person. She says, that’s pretty freaking good. In her interview, Aesha says it makes trips to London seem more feasible. The captain asks to see Hannah on the bridge. Ben tells Hannah that she’s a fantastic girl. He can’t drink enough in her name.

The captain tells Hannah that she’s amazing with the guests. She doesn’t want to take away from what they have, but wants to share this. She loves being a captain. When Ben came on, she could see Ben loves being a chef. The guests are Hannah’s passion, and she killed it with them, but that wasn’t what was behind her concerns. The table setting took a while, and it irritated her. She knows Hannah tries, but doesn’t think yachting is her passion, and Hannah should follow her dreams. This industry needs a passionate chief stew. Hannah gets teary. In Captain Sandy’s interview, she says, you want to finish better than you started. That’s called passion. She tells Hannah not to be sad. Everyone watches as Hannah walks past, and sits on the dock.

João says, what a trip. They have one more night out. Aesha tells Hannah, well done. She’s proud of them. Anastasia tells the deckhands, the captain was ripping Hannah for no reason. The criticism isn’t fair. João decides to have a beer. Aesha says, cheers to Hannah. Anastasia joins them, and Hannah says, sorry she’s been ugh. Whatever that means. Hannah tends to use sound effects to express her thoughts. Anastasia says Hannah is holding it together better than she would. They clink glasses. Anastasia says they know what they did.

João calls a friend of Sandy’s named Skip, and asks about an interview. Skip says Sandy talked to him about the potential of them working together. In João’s interview, he says he’s sitting at the same port he started at. He came with three things; a backpack, some gold coins, and hope. Now he’s having a conversation about a possible captain position. He worked hard to get to this point, and it’s somewhat emotional. João tears up. Skip asks what João envisions next, and  João says, in one to three years, he wants to be a captain, and manage his own team. Skip says he’ll have to talk to Sandy about it.

Jack and Aesha goof around. Everyone gets ready to go out. In her interview, Aesha thinks tonight everyone is going to get loose, and go out with a bang. She gets an extra one. Even Captain Sandy dresses up. They go to Le Plongeoir, which is on the water (see below for a pic). Aesha says she loves this place. Going there is a big treat. They order, and in his interview, Travis says he doesn’t want to end on a low. He’s going to curb his drinking tonight. He also doesn’t want to get super drunk in front of his sober captain. Captain Sandy thanks them for being amazing. They went through a lot, and came out the other side. Every one of them added to the guest’s experience. She’s proud of them. In her interview, she says the dinner is a celebration of them completing the charter season together. She wanted to show them that they’re a team. Ben toasts to Sandy, and Anastasia toasts to their fabulous chief stew, who looks absolutely stunning tonight. Aesha says, cheers to herself, and Anastasia seconds that, saying, cheers for getting a man. Captain Sandy wants to know what their greatest moment was, versus their hardest moment. She says it’s a learning curve for her, and she can take her knowledge to the next boat. João says, on a professional level, it was amazing when Travis stepped up to the plate when he was sick. He can’t think of a lowest moment. Travis says the greatest thing was his friendship with Jack, and the hardest, having it taken away by Aesha. Hannah says her girls were the highlight of her season. She loves them. Her lowest point was probably her horrible tables. Ben says his lowest point was getting in the galley and seeing it, and his highest point was leaving the galley. Aesha says her high point was the extra romantic gestures from Jack, and we flash back to those. She says her low point was the interior not getting as much praise as they should have.

I’m honestly starting to feel sad about the season ending, even though I’m so looking forward to the original Deck. That will be premiering next Monday, October 7th, at 9 pm. So at least no withdrawal.

In her interview, the captain says, Aesha is a good forgetter. We flash back to Captain Sandy encouraging Aesha, and giving her some praise. The captain says, it’s because the team took it personally, and that’s not the case. Aesha says she knows Hannah works hard and does a good job. She hates that Hannah isn’t getting the praise she deserves. Captain Sandy says she’s going to go and let them have some fun. They have one last cheers. Hannah high-fives Aesha. João sarcastically says, Aesha is an effing hero. What a legend. Aesha says she was being honest, and João says, so was Sandy. Aesha tells him, eff off.  Hannah asks Aesha to step away from the table with her. Hannah says it looked like Aesha needed space. Aesha wonders what’s João’s effing problem? Everyone goes back to the boat.

The captain knocks on Hannah’s door. She tells Hannah that she’s thrilled with what their has become. She hopes Hannah knows that. Hannah tears up, and says she understands where Captain Sandy is coming from with her belief about passion. She is passionate about the guest’s experience, She’s not as passionate about cleaning toilets, but the captain says, it’s not about that. Hannah is great at interacting with the guests, but what’s not all it is. It’s also about when the guests sit around the table. Yesterday, Hannah did an amazing table, but she wants amazing constantly. It’s what she asked for, but she didn’t want to ask. Hannah says she felt like she tried her best, and her best wasn’t good enough. Captain Sandy says that’s not the case. She’s grateful. Hannah did an amazing job. She doesn’t want Hannah to think she’s disappointed; she’s not. She’s not easy, but she’s fair. In Captain Sandy’s interview, she says she’d work with Hannah again, but Hannah would need to perform at the level she needs. Hannah tells the captain that she understands, and they hug.

Jack and Travis decide to snooze on the sundeck. Travis thinks Jack owes him some quality time. Jack says, they’re going to be friends for the rest of their lives, but he’s in a relationship with Aesha, so he’s stuck with her. Aesha joins them, and asks why Jack isn’t in bed, and Jack tells her that he’s sleeping under the stars. She wants to sleep inside, and kisses him goodnight. In Travis’s interview, he says they wanted to do this little kid campout, and it’s nice Jack didn’t ditch him for Aesha.

Everyone starts getting up by 8:30. Colin bangs on a pan, so they’re all awake now. In Colin’s interview, he says he’s more excited than sad. He couldn’t be happier going home to his parents, and sleeping in his own bed. Everyone packs. Ben tells Anastasia that he literally couldn’t have done it without her. In Anastasia’s interview, she says she’s capable of more than she thought. Looking back, she accomplished a lot. Even if she couldn’t carry it for the whole season, she rocked it. Ben gifts her with a chef’s knife, and they say goodbye. Anastasia tells Hannah that she’s been there for her more than anyone else. Captain Sandy says Anastasia is an amazing human being. Anastasia leaves the boat.

In his interview, Colin says, a couple of falls, a broken anchor, almost leaving the boat mid-season; the boat is trying to kick him off, but he persevered. The captain says she’s grateful. He thanks her for believing in him; it meant a lot. João says he’s grateful for Colin’s friendship. He makes you feel like you want to be a better person. Colin waves goodbye, saying, smell you guys later.

Skip calls, and says João has a job if he wants it. João says, it’s a dream come true. In his interview, Travis says, it’s been a long season. He’s been working for two years straight, with no holiday or time off to relax. He wants to see his loved ones in Australia, and just try and chill TF out. Aesha thanks Hannah for being amazing. In his interview, Jack says, it’s been fun pushing boundaries. He and Aesha go to the bridge to see Captain Sandy. The captain says they met on the boat, and their leaving together. She tells Jack that he’s special. He laughs, and she says he knows what she’s talking about. In the captain’s interview, she says she’d work with Jack again… maybe. She says, Aesha told her that she didn’t get enough praise. She did a fabulous job. She has a certain energy that makes people feel comfortable. She’s incredible. In Aesha’s interview, she says she did her job well, met lifelong friends, and she’s leaving with a dude who has a big d*ck. She asks Jack if babysitting him is her life now.

In Hannah’s interview, she says she and Ben have the relationship of an old married couple. They bicker, but have each other’s backs 95% of the time. She’s glad she didn’t do the whole charter season with him. Ben thanks the captain. In Ben’s interview, he says he overcame every obstacle he was in control of, and he’s walking off a stronger person. He enjoyed the challenge. It was a joy, but he’s glad to be walking off the boat, and back to a normal life.

In João’s interview, he says he and Hannah have come a long way in regard to respecting each other’s opinions. They can work with each other. He goes to the bridge to say goodbye, and Captain Sandy says she’s going to cry. They hug, and he says he learned so much. He tells her that he got the job, and thanks her. She says he has a bright future. In João’s interview, he says he came in thinking he wanted to be a captain. He wouldn’t be where is in his career except for Captain Sandy. She says she can say it and mean it. He’s the captain now.

Captain Sandy tells Hannah, it’s been amazing. In her interview, Hannah says she’s not letting one charter ruin what she and the captain have built. She tells the captain that she is passionate about giving the guests a great experience, but she has to do research on table décor. Captain Sandy says Hannah is a phenomenal human being. In Hannah’s interview, she says, next season, she’ll do dinner service in a mermaid outfit, and bring all the passion she can muster.

Captain Sandy stands on deck, and says, finité.

Coming up on Below Deck – Thailand, which Captain Lee says is like sensory overload, there’s so much to take in; elephants; a deckhand stripper; Kate says boat romances don’t end, you have to ship out; a stuck tender; Kate gives the finger; and Captain Lee says don’t think he won’t fire someone mid-charter. Well, it’s happened before.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Sonny’s doorbell rings, and Carly says it must be family, since no one called on the house phone. It’s Sam, who says she knows she should have called, but she’s got good news and bad news.

Josslyn and Dev walk into Charlie’s. Josslyn says, it’s better than the library. Dev says, it would be better without books, but she says he’s got to get caught up for the fall. They can grab something to eat while they work. He says he worked all day at his coffee job. She tells him, that’s just a summer job. He has to be ready for school. He needs good grades and good test scores to get into a good college. He needs college to survive. He says, it’s a waste of time. He’s going to prove himself to Sonny, and be a truly valued member of Sonny’s organization.

At the hospital. Monica asks Drew if he’s seen Kim. She made an appointment to talk to Monica, but never showed up. It’s not like her. Drew says, a lot of people aren’t acting like themselves. Monica asks, what’s going on? and he asks if she has time to talk private

Hayden sees Finn at the reception desk. She hopes he knows she didn’t mean it when she didn’t want to see him again. He says they’ve probably both said things they don’t mean. She says, probably. He tells her that he wants to talk to her about her sister Elizabeth, and Hayden says, what about her?

Elizabeth goes home. She sits on the couch and looks at her ring. Cameron comes downstairs, and says, Franco’s not here? Is he still at the hospital? Is he going to be okay?

Franco says, Jason Quartermaine. Jason says he’s half right. Jason Morgan. He’s Drew’s twin.

Sonny says, the bad news must be about that bastard Shiloh. Carly says Jason told them what he tried to do to Cameron. Sam says, everything? and Carly says Shiloh kidnapped Cameron, and planned to use the flashdrive to imprint Drew’s memories on him, but Franco showed up and took his place. Sonny says, it’s a helluva story. Sam says Robert told them. She’s happy Cameron is okay; that’s the good news. Sonny asks what the bad news is, and Sam says, the procedure worked. Franco woke up with Drew’s memories, and thinks he’s Drew.

In her office, Monica says she knows Franco was admitted for trauma, and that the episode involved Shiloh and an unscrupulous doctor. She didn’t know Franco was subjected to a memory transfer. Who benefits from that? Drew says Cabot wanted to continue his life’s work. He’s a misunderstood genius. Shiloh wanted information; probably something Drew learned in Afghanistan. Monica is glad Franco took Cameron’s place, but it must be devastating to Elizabeth. He says, she’s broken up about it, and Monica says, what about him? Drew says it looks like Franco remembers his life before 2012, but he’s not only remembering. Franco thinks he’s Drew. Even seeing his own face didn’t shake his belief. Monica asks if Drew isn’t a bit upset, and he says, that doesn’t begin to cover it. He’s mad as hell. His memories and his life have been stolen twice.

Finn says, it’s a long story, and Hayden says her head hurts thinking about it. He says, his too, but he thought she should know, for her sister’s sake. She says she appreciates it. If Franco has Drew’s memories, and doesn’t remember his real life, then he knows nothing of his life with Elizabeth or the boys.

Elizabeth tells Cameron that she’s glad it’s just them. She wouldn’t know how to explain it to the boys. He asks if Franco will ever get better, and Elizabeth says, he needs to time to come to terms with his new reality. Once that happens, they can figure out a way to reverse it, and he can come back to them. Cameron says she’s talking like it can happen with the snap of a finger, but they both know it’s not like that. If it was, Drew would have done it long ago. Elizabeth says, it’s not easy, but the doctors are already looking at Franco’s tests. They’ll figure out a way. GH has the best doctors. Cameron says, don’t treat him like a kid. He knows it’s bad; he was there. It could have been him. Where is Franco? Maybe he can talk to him. Elizabeth says she doesn’t know. Cameron says Franco needed to get away from them? and Elizabeth says, he’s confused right now. He thinks he needs to get away from everybody who’s telling him who he is, when he’s insisting he’s someone else. Drew said the best thing to do is fight for him. Try to get him to remember the life he had. The one waiting there for him. Cameron says, sounds good. He’s willing do that too, but how do they do it if Franco won’t come home?

Franco tells Jason that someone showed him his own face, and he didn’t look like himself, but Jason does. He didn’t know Jason even existed until he saw Jason’s photo in a newspaper. It was the state champion soccer team, and there he was; MVP. A rich kid with his face.

At a nearby table, Willow tells Chase that she has a lead on a job that’s teaching related. She has no problem with waiting tables, but… Chase is staring at Franco and Jason. She says, the job really is 24/7. Even when he’s off-duty, he’s not off-duty. Chase asks, where’s this coming from?

Franco says he did research at the library. It wasn’t difficult, since the Quartermaines are a prominent family. He learned about their father Alan, and their mother Susan, his mistress. She died and he dumped Drew, but kept Jason and raised him. Jason says, no; that’s not what happened

Sonny asks if Sam has spoken to Drew. She says she ran into him at the hospital. He was trying to console Elizabeth. Carly asks how Elizabeth is feeling, since Franco is running around with Drew’s memories? Sam says, optimistic. Drew is telling Elizabeth that Franco will come around when he remembers their love. Carly says, it’s a romantic scenario, but not likely. Drew still has Jason’s memories. They haven’t faded or worn off. What are the chances it will be different with Franco?

Josslyn tells Dev that he needs to work hard this summer, and not in the warehouse. He needs to hit the books if he wants to navigate American high school. Dev says they should discuss what classes he needs to take, and she says, American history. The teacher is big on the Civil war. He says she must want them to read The Civil War Diaries. He cites some other books, and she says he knows those authors? He’s read them? He says, of course (🍷). Hasn’t everyone?

Hayden says, if a doctor did it, can’t another doctor undo it? Finn would like to think so, but it’s complicated. To start, they’d have to convince Franco that he’s not Drew. She says, it’s a horrible mess, and he says it’s not the mess he needed to speak to her about. She mentioned she’s working at Aurora. Has she been in the Crimson office? She asks, why? but he’s not sure how to say it. She may have been exposed to a serious contagion.

Monica says the flashdrive had Drew’s memories on it? and Drew says, yeah. He’d all but forgotten he had it – there was so much going on – except when Shiloh asked him about it. Monica asks if Drew wanted nothing to do with it, and he says using it would have meant losing the memories he’s made since he came to Port Charles. He’d have no memories of his children, and he couldn’t make that sacrifice to learn about himself. Monica gets it, and thinks Drew made a good choice. What she doesn’t get, is why he’d hang onto it. He says he thought it was in a safe place. He wasn’t even thinking about it, but in the back of his mind, he thought maybe one day his memories could be replanted without him losing his recent ones. He never dreamed Shiloh would steal it, and plant his memories in someone else. Monica is glad Shiloh is locked away, but Drew says, it doesn’t do Franco and Elizabeth any good. They were just beginning their life, and it was ripped away. To make it even harder, Franco doesn’t realize what he lost. Elizabeth does.

Elizabeth tells Cameron that she has no idea where Franco is. Cameron asks if she wants him to talk to the boys, but she says, no. She wants them to know as little as possible. He asks, what if they read it on the internet, or hear it from their friends? She says she’s going to tell them Franco has a medical problem, and the doctors are working to solve it. Cameron asks how they can convince Franco he belongs there, if he doesn’t remember who they are? Cameron takes out his phone, and Elizabeth asks who he’s calling. He tells her, Sonny, but she asks him not to call. She says she appreciates that he wants to fix things for her and his brothers. Cameron tells her, Franco said he wouldn’t quit on their family, so they can’t quit on him, even if doesn’t know it.

Jason says the family didn’t know about Drew. He was given away to a woman named Betsey Frank, and Alan was never told he had twins. Their parents never knew, or he and Drew would have grown up with them, but that has nothing to do with him.

Willow tells Chase, Lulu was candid about what it’s like… Chase says, to put up with a cop? She says, no; to love one. She felt awkward, discussing it with Lulu, considering what happened with her and Dante, but Lulu wanted to talk. Chase takes it Lulu was illuminating. What did she learn? She says, nothing she didn’t know. Loving someone who puts their life on the line is difficult, sometimes terrifying. Like when he texted her that he was at the hospital, and she rushed there thinking he was hurt in the line of duty. She had a sudden surge of terror that she might lose him. He asks if it scared her off. Is his job too much for her? She says she’s right there, isn’t she?

Carly tells Sonny that if she’s learned anything after what happened to Drew, it’s that there’s no way to force someone to see the truth. Not at first. Sonny says, Franco will come to terms with it on his own, and seek help – if there is any. She says, what if there isn’t? Will Franco spend the rest of his life thinking he’s Drew? And are they supposed to treat him like a version of Drew? Do Elizabeth and the kids spend their lives with a stranger?

Hayden tells Finn that she thought it was the flu, not a serious contagion. Finn says it’s a flu strain, but he doesn’t know if it requires isolation. Until he figures it out, he needs to test everyone who was in close proximity of Sasha. Hayden asks, is it fatal? Could she have it and not know, and have passed it to someone else? He says he didn’t mean to alarm her. It’s mostly precaution. She seems fine. She has no symptoms, and minimal contact with Sasha. She says she’s been places that Sasha frequents; most recently, Windymere. She was there the night of the storm. Alcohol made her say a lot of things, but she doesn’t think it was the flu talking.

Drew tells Monica, even if Franco agreed to a reversal, it could seriously backfire. Andre made it clear that there could be put into a permanent coma. Monica says maybe Franco is better off living the rest of his life with Drew’s memories. He says, what about Elizabeth and the boys? They’re grieving a husband and stepfather. Franco is alive, but he’s dead to them. Monica says, as devastating as it is, there’s a silver lining. Drew loves the optimism, but isn’t sure he follows. Who would benefit from it besides Shiloh? She says, how about him?

Elizabeth tells Cameron that Franco truly loves them. If there’s an inkling of memory left somewhere, he’ll grab ahold of it, and ride it back to them. Cameron says Franco risked everything for him. He put it all on the line for him. The only way Cameron can repay him is to bring him back somehow. She says, remind him of the life he shared with them. No matter how Franco feels or doesn’t feel, it doesn’t change how they feel. They’ll go on believing in him, caring for him… Cameron says, and go on loving him, right? They hug.

Jason says his your name is Franco, and his wife’s name is Elizabeth. Franco says he’s never even met anyone named Franco, and he just met Elizabeth. If everything goes according to plan, he’ll never lay eyes on her again.

Willow tells Chase, Lulu said, Dante and Nathan were two of a kind. They were strong, and needed to make the world a better place. Lulu recognized that about Chase too. Chase says he’s honored to be in the same category. Willow guesses that’s why she relates so well to him. It’s why she became a teacher. Not that wrangling third graders compares. He says he’d rather do what he does. She’s seriously brave to face down eight-year-olds. He thinks teachers are heroes. One in particular inspired him to make a difference in becoming cop. Willow asks, who? and he says, his dad.

Franco says the solution for everyone’s problems is for him to just leave Port Charles. Jason asks if he’s sure he wants to do that, and Franco says, yes. Why? Is Jason going to try and stop him?

Carly asks how Sam is doing after her ordeal with Shiloh. Sam says there’s nothing like being locked in a nasty freezer to make you appreciate life. You think it’s your last breath, and appreciate life a lot more. Sonny says he had a reminder at his dad’s wedding. Sam apologizes, saying she forgot. Carly says it was so sweet. She especially enjoyed the minister. Sam thought it was in name only, and Carly says, he was a minister of convenience. Mike was having an episode, and thought Sonny was the pastor. Sonny says he started out with dearly beloved, they said their own vows, and professed their love. Then he and Carly decided to renew their vows.

Josslyn asks Dev, who is he? Dev says, Sonny’s cousin from Bridgeport. Josslyn wonders what a street kid from Turkey knows about literature, and Dev says he knows a lot of stuff. He picked it up from tourists. She says, a lot kids grow up on the street, but few of them turn in it into education. What makes him different?

Finn tells Hayden, if her contact was minimal, he has no reason to believe she’s infected. She asks if he thinks it’s okay to be around children, like Elizabeth’s kids. Finn thinks the more time she spends with Elizabeth and her family, the better. They’re going to need support until Franco comes home; assuming he’s coming home. Hayden says maybe there’s a brilliant doctor who’s not afraid to take risks. Finn says neurology isn’t his specialty. She says he saved her life, in more ways than one. Don’t sell himself short.

Cameron tells Elizabeth that he’s sorry it took all this for him to see the guy she saw all along. She says Josslyn is at the library with her cousin, and they’re going to Charlie’s afterward. Does he want to meet up with them? He says he’d like to stay there tonight, if it’s okay with her. She says, it’s more than okay.

Franco asks if Jason is still rich. Jason says he does okay. Franco says, give him some money. Float him a loan, and he’ll take the next bus out of town. Jason says how about if he finds Franco a room for tonight, and tomorrow, Jason can take him to some people who can help him. Franco says he doesn’t need a doctor or a shrink. He’s comfortable with who he is.

Chase tells Willow that his dad loved to teach, and he was good at it. He made his students come alive and want to learn. That’s how he inspired Chase to make a difference. His dad instilled it in him and Finn, and they each chose their way of making a difference. The problem is, you can’t always turn it off when it’s inconvenient. Willow says she’s beginning to understand.

Franco tells Jason, on second thought, keep his money. And as long as he’s stuck there, until he figures a way out, stay the hell away from him. Jason says, like it or not, he’s connected to a lot of people in this there. He can’t just disappear. Jason calls him Franco, and Franco says that’s the last time he’s going to let anyone call him that today. Chase watches.

Sam tells Carly and Sonny, it’s so exciting. Congratulations. She asks if it will be a church wedding, and says it probably depends on the season. And Avery can be the flower girl. Carly interrupts, saying they’re not that far, and Sonny says, it will be a simple, family celebration. Carly says, it’s not a wedding redo. They’ll speak their hearts surrounded by the people they love, including their newest family member. She touches her baby bump. Sonny says they’ll appreciate what they have with the people closest to them.

Dev tells Josslyn, the greatest treasure isn’t gold or diamonds, but education. His mom told him that. She had big plans for him. Josslyn says, she sounds like a good woman. He says he couldn’t let her down, so he decided to continue his education, whether or not it was in a classroom. Josslyn thinks she would be proud. She asks him to tell her more about his parents. There’s so much she doesn’t know. He says, there’s nothing to tell.

Drew tells Monica that he never imagined someone would be forced to end up with his past; especially someone he cares about. He can’t see a silver lining. Monica says he hasn’t thought it through. He doesn’t have to choose. He can keep the memories he has, and Franco can tells him about the man he used to be. Drew says Franco could fill him in at the expense of Elizabeth. Monica says, it’s Shiloh’s doing. She hopes it can be undone, but doesn’t he want to know more? She thinks she does. Drew says, the twin Alan didn’t claim, and she says, the twin he never knew existed. They missed out on Drew’s childhood, and his youth. It would be a chance to fill in the blanks. For the family too. The more they know about him, the closer they can become. Doesn’t he want that too?

Finn says he recalls he and Hayden saved each other. She says, he wins. He still reached out after she embarrassed herself at dinner. He could have just left her a message. He says she’s fun to tease. He’s not keeping score, and hopes she isn’t. He says he could never hate her. He was in love with her, and it hurt when she left, but he learned a long time ago that life is too short to keep grudges. Hayden is glad he told her what’s going on with her sister. She has to figure out how to get Elizabeth through this. Does he have a suggestion? He thinks she already knows what to do.

Elizabeth tells Cameron, go upstairs and get ready for bed; she’ll straighten up down there. He hesitates, but then goes. She looks at her ring, and flashes back to Franco in the jail, saying he’s down for more loving, cherishing, and honoring. He says, I love you, Elizabeth Imogene Webber. Till death do us part. Elizabeth wipes the tears from her cheeks.

Jason says he’s not going to fight Franco. Franco says if Jason calls him Franco one more time, he might not have a choice. Chase asks them if everything is okay. Franco says no one is talking to him. Chase calls him Franco, and Franco punches him in the face.

Sam says she assumes she and Jason will be invited, and Carly says they’ll be at the tippy top of the list. Sam says she can help, but she’s not good at that kind of thing. Sonny says they’re keeping it small. Sam says, good luck, and leaves. Sonny says if Carly wants a big, splashy wedding, he can rent a place, but she says she loves keeping it small. They could do it on the terrace. Sonny says that would make him happy, having it at home. When they’re apart, this is just a place to live in, but when they’re together, it’s a home. Because of her. She’s his whole life. Carly says, right back at him.

Josslyn tells Dev that she didn’t mean to offend or pry. He knows all about her family. She’s just curious to know more about his real family. He says she does. He’s a Corbin.

Elizabeth’s phone rings. It’s Finn, and she asks if he’s had any word about Franco. He was hoping she had some, but she says, nothing. He’s sorry. He wishes there was something he could do. For what it’s worth, he’ll talk to Monica, and tell her Elizabeth needs some time off. It’s a difficult situation, and she has the kids. It won’t do anyone any good if she runs herself into the ground. She says, good advice. She might take it. Her doorbell rings. I know we were all hoping for Franco, but it’s Hayden. She tells Elizabeth, don’t just stand there. Help her get settled. She’s moving in, and won’t take no for an answer. They hug. On the other end of the phone, Finn smiles.

Drew tells Monica, sorry. It strikes at his core. He knows exactly were Franco is; he’s been there himself. He can’t take advantage. Monica says, the memories are his, and Drew says, technically, they are, but Franco believes they’re his. Frankly, he doesn’t think Franco would share them if he asked. Monica tells him, think about it. Something good could come of this yet.

Jason tells Franco, settle, and Chase says he just hit a police officer. Franco asks how he was supposed to know that. Chase isn’t wearing a uniform. Jason tells Franco, do himself a favor – shut up. Chase says he’ll take it from there, and arrests Franco. He asks if Franco understands his rights.

On Monday, Julian tells Sam he was hoping to say a proper goodbye, Shiloh has information someone might find interesting, Scotty wants to see his son, and Lulu tells Olivia that Dante isn’t coming home.

What I Watched Today

(random, rambling thoughts on today’s TV)

General Hospital

Show of hands. How many people think Sonny is going to die? Me neither. It’s not like this is The Walking Dead. Carly is also taking this news awfully well. I guess she’s used to it.

It seems like Sloane and Anna had some kind of relationship I wasn’t privy to off camera. Where is all this coming from? Sloane looks as confused as I feel. I’m thinking these two are just making it up as they go along. Yep, Anna made a big mistake shooting Carrrlos. Mostly because I liked Carrrlos and had hoped Sabrrrina would change her mind about him. Although it did give Jeffrey Vincent Parise an opportunity to die on live TV. If you don’t know much about this actor, Google him. He’s extremely accomplished both as an actor and an artist. He also got some play in that final episode of Mad Men.

Hmmm…maybe it was Julian behind the shooting and they fooled me by making it the obvious choice. Like General Custer’s “reverse barometer” theory in Little Big Man. “You want me to think that you don’t want me to go down there, but the subtle truth is, you really don’t want me to go down there.”

Ha-ha! How long are they going to keep trying to keep that headband on Avery’s head? These girls have all had experience with children too, and at this age, it’s off the head and into the mouth.

Sonny’s real name is Michael? How did he get the name Sonny? What a misnomer. It should have been Cloudy, Overcast or Storm-A-Brewin’.

Once again, we have an over-crowded ER, filled with people who don’t belong in there. I wonder how many patients die from being exposed to germs because no one is wearing a mask.

Sloan cares, but just not that much. I was wrong. He would do anything for love, but he won’t do that. Not if that interferes with his bank account.

For the love of Mike, why does every lullaby have to be about that freaking Mockingbird?

I know! Sonny wakes up thinking he’s married to Jake.

MasterChef

The contestants are divided into two teams. Small teams. Nick and Claudia (red), and Derrick and Stephen (blue). Three boxes are wheeled out , each with one of the judges names on it. Christina’s box is removed, and the red team gets Graham’s box, and the blue team gets Gordon’s box. Since each team is expected to make an appetizer and an entrée out of what’s in the box, it’s assumed Christina’s will be saved for dessert. They have one hour to do this. It would probably take me an hour just to figure out what to do with the ingredients.

Nick totally forgets to put the crab in the broth he suggested they make – no crab broth for you! They go for a crab cake instead. Fine by me. I’m getting hungry watching this. The blue team is makes some kind of prawn dish with avocado and pomegranate seeds. Even I know those seeds are a mistake. I love when one of the judges asks whose idea a dish was. There’s always a lot of humana-humana and quick looks at each other. Is it a good question, or a bad question?

OMG – I am loving these triangle shaped plates! My favorite bowl is square. My husband doesn’t understand this.

The crab cake gets a thumbs up from Gordon and Christina. Get that cilantro off the plate and it will get one from me too. Uh-oh. The red team has used roasted red pepper in both of their dishes. Apparently this is bad. Graham says their salmon entrée is “disgusting,” and that I know is bad. I think it was the kale that did them in. Gordon is a little more positive, saying it tastes better than it looks, but it also lacks personality. The blue team has made duck for their entrée. Not a favorite of mine, although I’d give this dish a try. Ugh! They didn’t clean the mushrooms enough. Why? Still, the blue team is safe.

The pressure test is the Christina/dessert box. They’ll be making a chocolate malted layer cake. It takes months to master this cake, Christina tells them. Now, off you go! I get up to go into the kitchen and hear the bleeps of curse words from the other room. No surprise on a Gordon Ramsey show.

M-m-m-m. Charred mini marshmallows. I’ll just have a bowl of those, please. They’re doing a chocolate glaze icing. I actually know about this. I watched someone else do it once.  60 seconds left? I’d be throwing those marshmallows on there now. Claudia’s cake is a mess. I hate when the judges start yapping about how something looks when the contestants are given an hour to make something that normally takes 2 days to make. Regardless, Christina is impressed with Claudia’s flavors. Graham takes a bite after holding it up to admire it. Like I don’t think he wants to down that whole cake at once. And just because you want darker marshmallows and more fudge, doesn’t mean you’re going to get them in an hour. Christine says Nick’s cake is beautiful, but I see a marshmallow hanging off the side. Minus 10 points. Christine does that thing where they take a bite, nod & just walk away. Ah, it’s too sweet. He says he ran out of ingredients and “didn’t think to ask for help.” Yep, he probably doesn’t ask for directions either, but this time it might cost him more than going in circles for another half hour.

Yep, it did. Claudia is going through and Nick is going bye-bye. Not that I have a dog in this fight, but I’m glad. I would hate for the deciding factor to be the visuals, especially when it came down to not asking for help and then not being able to recalculate the recipe. (See? I know a little.)

My hat’s off to the guy in the hat though.

Anyone want to take up a collection for me to go on the next MasterChef cruise?

Little Women: LA

How is it that there are no periods in the Los Angeles abbreviation? Doesn’t that make it Louisiana? I just noticed this after three seasons.

As usual, the ladies are being enterprising. Tonya is developing a workout video for little people, which is a brilliant idea. She loves working out, but obviously an average sized gym is a problem. She picks some of the other girls to be in the video with her. In Brittney’s talking head segment, she’s wearing earrings the size of basketball hoops, so maybe they’ll be including a game.

Joe and Terra are now married (Terra’s Little Family is over for now…sniff…I miss it) and are postponing their honeymoon because of baby Penny’s health issues.  Elena and husband Preston announce that they’re going to renew their vows and have a big bash. They’re excited about having their families come, because it wasn’t possible the first time. Briana gets all emotional because she “should be the next one getting married.” Except Elena and Preston are already married. What up wit dat, Briana?

There is still a lot of conflict between Briana and the girls over Matt. I’m not sure what to think. It’s kind of like Brooks and Vicki on the OC Wives. I still haven’t seen anything that’s so bad, but the friends seem skeptical. (And I’m not talking about you, Meghan. You just seem crazy.) I love Terra, and she’s no dummy, so maybe there’s something there, although I don’t think giving him the silent treatment is the answer. And if someone called me a fetishist, I might get annoyed too. Providing I wasn’t one. Maybe the problem is really just moving too fast on both their parts.

Christy and Todd’s dealings with A.I. is TMI. Enough said.

Seeing the ad for the new Rachel Zoe effort, Fashionably Late, it looks pretty good. I liked her last show better than I thought I would, so I might check this one out. (September 24 – my sister’s birthday!)
