General Hospital

Alexis is brought into Jordan’s office, and sees Mac. The officer uncuffs her, and leaves. She asks why they’re in Jordan’s office, and Mac says he asked if they could use it. It’s obvious she’s drunk; it’s already noted in the arrest report. There’s no reason the squad room had to witness this. He gives her some coffee, and she says, it was an accident. He says she stabbed a man with a syringe filled with lidocaine. Dante may not survive.

On the phone, Tracy asks if Luke is going to make her say it. He was right; she shouldn’t have meddled. She can’t come home yet. She has to make things right with Ned. She’ll let him know how it goes. Ned comes in, and she asks how he is. He says he wants to speak with his wife. Is she here?

At the hospital, Robert comes out of the elevator, and asks Sam what the hell is going on? He got a call saying Dante’s been stabbed with a loaded syringe. Olivia runs in, obviously upset, and asks where her son is. Sam says, all she knows is, he’s in the trauma room. Elizabeth comes out, and Olivia runs over to her. She says, please tell her that her son is alive.

Phyllis tells a doctor at the clinic, Sonny hasn’t slept in days. As she can see, he can’t stop moving. He has an enormous amount of confidence in himself to do just about anything. Sonny says he feels great right now. He wishes everyone could feel as great as he does right now. Who are they to say he’s not normal? The doctor tells him, who is he to say that he is?

Jason asks Franco if Dante knew Alexis was gunning for him. Franco says he has no idea what Dante did or didn’t know, and Jason asks, why did Dante save him?

Nina puts the necklace on the bar, and puts the halves together. Everyone waits.

Jason tells Franco, it could be it was the cop in Dante, and he reacted without thinking, but if he knew what he was doing, why would he risk himself to save Franco? Franco says Jason is right; it makes zero sense. The alarms go off, and medical staff run to Dante’s room. Elizabeth goes to the reception desk, and Olivia follows her, saying she got a call that Dante was hurt. Hurt from what? Elizabeth says Portia is doing everything she can to save him, and Olivia says, he could die? She has to be with him. Robert stops her, and more alarms go off. She asks why no one will tell her what’s going on, and Elizabeth runs past them. Robert holds Olivia.

Tracy tells Ned, Olivia isn’t in the habit of informing her of her comings and goings, and he assumes things are still pretty tense around there. She says if he’d stayed, they could have talked about it, and if Olivia asked for the separation, why is he the one who left? He says, he’s the one who cheated. He’ll see if she’s upstairs. Tracy says she went out, and asks if he told her that he was coming, and she decided to make a quick getaway. He doubts that. He told her he would wait for her to make the next move in their marriage. She asks if Olivia reached out, and he says, not yet. Tracy says, don’t chase her; it gives her all the power. Monica comes in, saying, it’s good to be home. Ned asks how the cardiology conference was, and she says, great. It’s amazing the strides they’ve made in heart surgery. Tracy says she thought Monica retired, but Monica says she’s unemployed because the hospital let her go. She’s still a doctor. Ned says, and a damn good one, and she thanks him. She asks what she’s missed. Ned says, chaos and heartbreak, all thanks to his mother.

Alexis says she never meant to hurt Dante. It was Franco. She read in The Invader that his tumor came back, and the last time he had a tumor, he tried to kill her daughter. Mac says he hasn’t forgotten Franco’s history with Sam. Did he threaten her today? Alexis says, yes. He was shouting to himself, he was out of control; he was talking to himself, and shouting at Sam… He grabbed her. He was shaking her by the arms… Mac asks if they were struggling, and she says, yes. She doesn’t know specifics; she was confused. He asks if she knew what was in the syringe, and she says, no. He says, so she grabbed a syringe with an unknown drug in hopes of killing Franco, but she plunged the needle into Dante instead. She says she didn’t mean to hurt Dante, and he says, but she did. (In my head, Bette Davis says, but you are, Blanche, to Joan Crawford.) Mac says, she may have killed him.

Sonny says he’s perfectly fine. Maybe they should get their heads checked. The doctor tells him, if he says he’s fine, she accepts that. Her job is to get Phyllis to stop worrying about him. He says he lost his memory. All he knows is, he’s a guy with a lot of energy who likes to fix things. He’s a hard worker, and Phyllis should be grateful for that instead of thinking he’s crazy. Phyllis says she doesn’t think he’s crazy, and the doctor says when Sonny first came to the clinic, bloodwork was taken, when he was John Doe. Let her take a look. Maybe there’s something to explain why… he’s such a hard worker. He says all she’s going to discover is, he’s healthy as a horse. He could win the triple crown right now if somebody just had faith in him.

Nina says, it fits. The necklace Avery found belongs to her daughter. It’s the piece of her that’s been missing. Carly asks if Nina is sure it’s the right necklace, and Nina says, it was unique and custom-made. Michael comes in, and Nina asks where Avery is. He says, Ava took her back to Windymere, and Nina says Avery said she found the necklace in the woods near a cabin. What cabin? Where’s it located? Valentin suggests they ask Ava, but Michael says, there’s no need. Avery told him everything.

Franco tells Jason that he doesn’t know why Dante would intervene. A couple of hours ago, Franco confronted Peter in his office because his paper printed an article about his tumor returning. Things got heated, and guess who came to his aid? Jason says, Dante, and Franco says, right. Dante saving his life makes less sense to him than it does to Jason.

Alexis asks if Mac knows how Dante is doing, and he says, the hospital doesn’t know yet, but if he doesn’t make it, the charges will go from attempted murder to murder. She says, it was an accident. She thought Franco was going to hurt her daughter. Dante came out of nowhere; she didn’t mean to hurt him. It happened fast. He says there’s no justification for her actions.

Elizabeth tells Olivia, Dante’s heart-rate is returning to normal. The antidote is starting to work. He’s still critical, but they’re stabilizing him. Olivia asks when she can see him, but Elizabeth says, not yet. Give him time to recover. Olivia asks if someone can tell her what happened, and Sam says, Dante was attacked accidentally and injected with lidocaine. She’s assuming his heart stopped, and that’s why there were alarms. Olivia asks if some psycho escaped from the mental ward. Who did this? Sam says, the psycho is her mother.

Monica says, Tracy framed Alexis for drunk driving? She should know better than that. Alcoholism is a disease. She took advantage of someone with an illness. Tracy says Monica can get down off her high horse. She remembers how hard Monica worked to protect AJ. Monica says, this has nothing to with AJ; it’s all about Tracy. Why would she do something so incredibly damaging to that woman? Tracy says, why else? For Ned. For her son.

Carly asks if Avery is upset about the adults fighting over the necklace, but Michael says he calmed her down. She’s more worried she won’t get it back. Valentin asks what she said about the necklace, and Jax says, it’s none of his business. Why is he even there still? Valentin says, because he’s the one who convinced Nina that Sasha was her real daughter, and he wants to be a part of her discovering who her real daughter is. Nina asks Michael what exactly Avery said about the necklace. She only told Nina that she found it in the woods near a cabin. Michael says, she found it in a clearing near the family cabin.

Monica asks how getting Alexis arrested would benefit Ned, and Ned says she was trying to save his marriage. Something he never asked her to do. Monica wonders how having Alexis arrested would save his marriage, and Ned says he assumes Tracy thought Alexis would go to jail or rehab. Six weeks away getting sober would take her off the grid, and minimize the risk of her telling Olivia about their one-night stand. Tracy says she had every reason to believe Alexis would choose treatment. It was a win-win for Alexis and Ned. Monica tells her not to waste her breath being the good guy. No one believes her, and the police won’t either.

Alexis asks if the hospital is keeping Mac updated on Dante’s condition, and Mac says, they’ll notify him if Dante lives or dies. She says he’s got to help her; she was trying to protect Sam. He says he just realized it was her birthday, and she says, happy birthday to me. He tells her, think about it. She’s spending her birthday in police custody. Her cell phone was impounded, so no one can call her. She says everybody hates her. Sam had her arrested. Her daughters hate her because she’s drinking again. He says, if they’re angry about her drinking, how are they going to react when she’s charged with killing Dante?

Franco says, now that Peter is announcing to the world the menace of Port Charles is returning, Jason might have missed his chance. Alexis just tried to kill him. There’s a long list of people waiting to take their revenge. Looks like he’s off the hook. Elizabeth approaches, and Jason asks, how’s Dante? She says he’s still critical, but Portia is optimistic. Franco says he’d like to thank Dante, and she says, when he’s more stable. She tells Jason, he must be disappointed that Dante stopped Alexis from killing Franco.

Sam tells Olivia, her mom was drunk. She grabbed a loaded syringe, and tried to stab Franco. Robert says, but instead, she stabbed Dante. Olivia wonders why Dante was there, and why he risked his life for a man who strapped Lulu to a bomb. Robert says, don’t forget what he did to Sam, and Sam says she has no idea why Dante took the hit, but he did. She’s so sorry for what her mom did, but Olivia says she’s not responsible for her mom’s bad behavior. Portia comes out, and Olivia asks how her son is. Portia says, he’s stabilized, and Olivia asks if she can see him, but Portia says, no visitors just yet. They’re still monitoring him closely. Sam says, it’s good news; he’s going to be okay. Olivia says she’s going to the chapel. She and God need to have a conversation.

Sonny says they’re wasting time. He could be reorganizing Phyllis’s storeroom, but she’s convinced he’s a maniac. She says, they’ve been through this. She didn’t call him a maniac. She said he was suffering from mania. He says it sounds the same to him. She says, mania is a condition that manifests itself with huge mood swings. Prolonged mania can lead to depression. Sonny says he’s not depressed; he’s feeling great. Phyllis says, he is now, but what happens if that changes? He could become seriously depressed, and suffer unimaginably. She doesn’t want to see that happen. He asks why she cares. What does she care about a complete stranger?

Nina says, so Ava and Avery stayed at the Corinthos family cabin. Michael says Ava offered to take Avery during Mike’s last few days, and his dad agreed. He didn’t want Avery at Windymere, so Ava took her to the cabin. Carly says, Avery was very close to Mike, and Sonny didn’t want her to see him so sick. Nina asks if the necklace could have belonged to anyone else who stayed there, and Michael says, the last time it was used was when Nelle kidnapped Wiley.

Sam texts Michael, saying, Dante is in the hospital.

Franco suggests they not do this here, but Elizabeth says, why not? It’s no secret that Jason, Alexis, and countless others would like to see him dead. The news only broke this morning, and already her social media accounts are filled with death threats. Franco says, some of them are super creative, and she says she has complete strangers telling her to take the boys and leave. The strange thing is, Franco is saner than most of those people, and definitely more rational than Alexis. Sam approaches, and Elizabeth says, all the more reason Jason shouldn’t have told her what Franco wanted him to do. Now he doesn’t have to kill Franco. He can sit back and watch someone else do it. Sam says, wait. Franco said he made a plan in case he turned back into a serial killer. Was the plan to have Jason kill him?

In the chapel, Olivia holds her rosary, and says Hail Marys. Robert comes in, and asks if it’s helping. She says she hopes so. Generations of Falconaris prayed the rosary in times of trouble, and they had their share of blessings. Her son needs one now. She swears there aren’t enough curses in the world for the woman who did this. He says, Alexis was coming from a bad place, and she says, between what happened with her and Ned, going around town drunk, and now her son, she’d say Alexis is in a downward spiral. Robert flashes back to Ned telling him that the family Thanksgiving gatherings can be eventful. Robert says that he doesn’t know what he stumbled on between Ned and Alexis, but Olivia is his friend. If Ned hurts her, he’ll still be in a wheelchair at Christmas. He asks Olivia what Ned and Alexis did to her, and Olivia says, let’s just say she doesn’t want see either one of them any time soon. Ned comes in, and says he came as soon as Robert called.

Tracy asks Monica where Ned is, and Monica says, he got a call and took off. Tracy says, from Olivia? but Monica tells her, he didn’t say, but she got the feeling he would have welcomed any excuse to leave. Tracy says, she means leave her, and Monica says, can she blame him? Tracy royally screwed up. She thinks it will be a while before Ned is feeling warm and fuzzy toward her. Tracy says, she messed up, and Monica says, that’s one way of putting it. She thinks the only way to make it right is to leave – now. Tracy says, Monica is kicking her out? and Monica says, if she has to. It’s for her own good.

Alexis tells Mac she needs a lawyer, and Diane is out of town. He asks if she knows another one, and she says, Martin Grey is good, right? He says, he doesn’t know, but isn’t it ironic? If she’d taken the plea deal… She says she didn’t do it, and Mac says he’d never want her to plead guilty for a crime she didn’t commit. But if she had, she’d be in rehab, she wouldn’t be there waiting on charges of attempted murder.

Phyllis tells Sonny, a long time ago, she made a mistake. She didn’t fulfil her due diligence with her employer. She thought she was doing the right thing, but didn’t ask enough questions, and ended up doing something absolutely wrong, and to this day, it haunts her. He asks what she did, when the doctor comes in. The doctor says she was able to access his bloodwork, and he was never tested for prescription medication. Sonny says, that’s because it wasn’t necessary, but she says she retested his blood and found a trace of lithium. He says, so what? and Phyllis says, most likely he was being treated for a psychological condition. The doctor says, lithium is commonly prescribed for bipolar disorder.

Nina says, Nelle was at the cabin? and Michael says he tracked her there after she kidnapped Wiley. While he was tending to his son, she ran off. Nina says, into the woods? and he says, probably. There are woods all around the cabin. Nina asks if he ever saw Nelle wear the necklace, but he says, not that he remembers. Nina says, maybe it was in her things, but Michael doesn’t recall. Carly says, there are tons of hiking trails; it could have belonged to anyone. Valentin says, Nina told him the nurse said the baby’s adoptive parents were from Florida, and Michael says, Nelle was from Florida.

Mac says Alexis could be celebrating her birthday instead of a holding cell awaiting arraignment She says, all she wanted to do protect her daughter. He says he’s known her for a long time, both before and after Julian drove her to drink. She says she can’t take that, but he says her life fell apart because of Julian. She dove head first into alcoholism; it’s heartbreaking to witness. She fought her way back, and regained her sobriety and self-respect. Now she’s throwing both of them away again. She cries, and he says he has to ask; is this really the life she wants for herself?

Sam says, it makes sense now. Franco showing up at the apartment, and saying he had a plan, but hadn’t hurt anyone. Jason says, Franco is making assumptions. He never agreed to kill him. She says, of course (🍷). He wouldn’t incriminate himself, but Franco and Elizabeth think there’s a plan in place.

Tracy says, Monica wants to evict her. How is that for her own good? Monica says, because she’s going to be arrested. She’s surprised Tracy hasn’t been arrested already. She suggests Tracy pick someplace warm, where there’s no extradition. Tracy says she’s not running. She’ll have Diane represent her. She’s gotten Sonny exonerated, and will do the same for her. Monica says Tracy happens to be guilty. Even if Diane gets her exonerated, the legal battle will deepen Ned’s anger and hurt. Tracy asks how she repairs the damage in Brunei, and Monica says, maybe by not being there, and away where they’re not reminded about what she did to Alexis, Ned and Olivia can repair their marriage. Maybe they can even forgive her, but do herself and everyone else a favor and leave now.

Robert tells Olivia, sorry. He thought she’d want her husband there. Ned says he loves her, and not to shut him out. Not now. Olivia says she doesn’t want him there. Just go. Robert thinks Ned should leave, and follows to make sure Ned isn’t in the hallway. Olivia tells God, forgiveness, right? She can’t. Not now. Not for Ned. She needs to focus on Dante right now. The Lord just brought him back, and she loves him so much. She cries.

Franco says Elizabeth is right, and she says, about what? He says, a lot of angry people would love to see him six feet under. They’re going to be a lot angrier when they find out Dante risked his life.

Sonny asks if it means he’s crazy, but the doctor says, at some point he was diagnosed, and prescribed lithium to minimize his mood swings. He says, it’s like Phyllis said, and the doctor tells him, she can’t be certain he has bipolar disorder; she’d have to see his medical records, but the lithium in his bloodwork indicates that’s the diagnosis. She’ll prepare a small dose, and they’ll see how he handles the medication. He has one of the best nurses looking after him, and Phyllis will make sure he’s okay. How does that sound? Sonny says, like a con job. He’s not doing it.

Nina says, Phyllis took her baby to Florida, and Nelle was the right age to be her daughter. She asks what Jax thinks, and Michael says he’s got to go. Carly asks if everything is okay, and he says Sam needs to see him. He tells Nina, if Nelle was her daughter, he’s sorry about everything that happened. He leaves, and Nina says, was it Nelle? Could Nelle have possibly been her daughter this whole time? Jax says, yes.

She asks why Jax thinks Nelle is her daughter, and Carly says, because of her. Last night, she found out Nelle could have been Nina’s daughter, and went straight to Jax. Nina asks if that’s when they were talking on the patio, and Carly says they wanted to figure out a way to tell Nina that would cause her the least amount of pain. Jax tells Carly, stop.

Portia tells Olivia, Dante received the antidote just in time. They’ll continue to monitor him, but the prognosis looks very good. Olivia thanks her, and Michael comes in. He says he would have been there sooner if he’d known. Olivia says he’s there now; that’s what’s important. She had a talk with God earlier, and He kept His promises. She’s got to say thank you. Michael tells her, say thanks for him too. If anything changes, he’ll get her. She thanks him, and says, the possibility of losing Dante now… She can’t think about it after everything they’ve already lost.

Robert doesn’t know what’s going on between Ned and his wife, but Olivia doesn’t want him around, and he thinks Ned should respect that. Ned says it’s none of his business, and Robert guesses that means no, even though Ned’s presence upsets her. It’s a new benchmark in selfishness. Ned says, Olivia is his wife, and he’ll wait as long as it take for her to realize he loves her, and he’s all the support she needs. Does Robert understand that?

Olivia thanks God for saving her son. There’s so much more she wants to say, but not to him; to someone else. It’s not going to be nice or pretty, but she’s been holding on so long, she’s got to get it off her shoulders. She hopes He understands. She crosses herself, and goes out. She looks up, and says, drunken slut. Sleeping with her husband wasn’t bad enough, she nearly killed her son. She swears, Alexis Davis, murderous bitch, she will make her pay.

Mac tells Alexis, the arrest warrant came in. He’s sending a unit to pick up Tracy for falsely accusing her of driving while drunk. Alexis asks if there’s any word on Dante, and he says, Dante is going to make it. She says, thank God, and he tells her that she should be glad Dante is going to make it. She won’t have his death on her hands, but she’s still going to be charged with aggravated felony assault and attempted murder.

Monica answers the door, and a cop says he has an arrest warrant for Tracy Angelica Quartermaine. Monica says he’s welcome to search the premises, but Tracy isn’t there. She left the country.

Franco says he loves Elizabeth, but sometimes he wishes she’d love him back a little less. Do what everyone says she should do; turn her back and split. She says, too bad. She’s not going anywhere.

Sam tells Jason that Franco was about to tell her the specific arrangements right before Alexis tried to kill him. Jason says, then Dante saved his life. Sam has no idea why Dante did that. He almost lost his life, and her mom is totally responsible. And Sam is the one who turned her in.

Phyllis asks if she’s ever conned Sonny before. The pills will help him. He says, what if they bring him down? What if they make him tired, and he’s not able to do what he’s supposed to do? He’s gotta keep working. She says, if the medication works, it will even out his mood swings. If she sees a change she doesn’t like, she’ll bring him back to the clinic. I yell at Sonny to take the pill. He says she’s been nothing but kind to him , but she’s still a stranger. She says, of all the things he’s said and done, she can’t think of anything more hurtful. She has tears in her eyes, and Sonny says he’s sorry. He takes the pills and a cup of water from her, and swallows the pills. He smiles.

Jax tells Nina that he can’t lie to her anymore. What Carly just said, that’s not how it happened. She needs to know the entire truth about Nelle.

On Monday, Anna needs help from someone, Cameron asks how someone can possibly say that, Laura asks Dante if he trusts Ava, and Carly says this has to be stopped.

General Hospital

At the bistro, Trina tells the man to stop saying her name. She doesn’t know him, and has no business with him. He says, even if it’s about her father?

Sonny asks if Cyrus thinks Julian is responsible for bombing The Floating Rib. Cyrus says he’s not 100% sure, but it’s a well-informed guess. Not long ago, Julian reached out to him. He was desperate, and convinced that Sonny was sending Jason to kill him. Cyrus is aware of Julian’s many transgressions against Sonny and his family, and although Sonny had reasons to eliminate Julian, he chose not to. He thinks Julian feared Sonny was going to uncover a new transgression. He’d begged Cyrus to get rid of Jason before Jason got rid of him. Sonny asks what Cyrus’s response was, and Cyrus is surprised Sonny needs to ask.

Carly runs into Taggert outside, and he wonders where Trina is. Carly says she’s in school, and he hopes she has a bodyguard. He’s aware of the bombing at The Floating Rib, and says, Trina could have been there. Carly says, Trina could have, but she wasn’t. Jason was the target, and it had nothing to do with Trina. Portia didn’t want a guard, but she’s taking extra precautions to protect Trina, who’s eager to have some normalcy in her life. Taggert says he doesn’t want Trina to be in any more danger, and Carly asks what he’s going to do. Blame himself for framing Cyrus, blame Cyrus for retaliating, or use his default, blame Sonny for everything?

Trina tells the man to go before she calls the cops. She knows the Commissioner personally. (That’s funny, considering she wants nothing to do with Jordan.) The man says he doesn’t want any trouble, but he has important information about her dad.

Portia sees Laura, and asks how she’s doing. Laura says she’s managing, and tells Portia that she talked to Lulu’s caregivers; she’s settled in and comfortable. She’s glad to have Curtis and Jordan back, and Portia says she’s been consulting with Jordan on her medical condition. Jordan says the mayor knows the details, but they should continue their conversation in the examining room, since they don’t know who might be lurking. Portia and Jordan go into the exam room, and Laura asks Curtis if they found anything. Curtis says, a name, but it remains a mystery as much as the PCPD file Cyrus wanted. Laura says she wants to be honest about what she knows about the file, and Curtis wonders how much she could know about a homicide case from the 70s. She says she knew the victim. She’s the one who killed him.

Ava stands on the parapet, thinking about being there with Julian the night before, when Nikolas comes out. He says he’s sorry for startling Ava, and she says she supposes she has a bit of PTSD. Valentin pushed her from the parapet. It was blind luck that she hit the water, and not the rocks, and blind luck that Nikolas was on the bluff and rescued her. Without him, she surely would have drowned. Nikolas says he saw her walking on the bluff earlier, like a Thomas Hardy character. She looked like she was looking for something, maybe someone. Ava says she was thinking about the explosion at The Floating Rib, and wondering how anyone could plant an explosive device for the express purpose of harming as many people as possible. She was trying to make sense of what happened to his sister, and searching for a way to comfort him, and ease the pain she saw on his face when they took Lulu away. She hugs him.

Martin walks into his office while he’s on the phone. He says he’ll get the files over asap. Funny… Not them. He could have sworn he left the blinds open when he left last night… No, everything else seems as it should be. He tells them they’ll talk later. Someone comes up behind him, but he turns and sprays them in the face with something. We see it’s Julian, who says, what the hell…?

Laura tells Curtis, it happened when she was a teenager. David Hamilton was a friend of her stepfather’s, and he seduced her as a way to get back at her mother. There was an ugly confrontation. She shoved him, and he hit his head and died. Curtis says, it was an accident, and she says she was hysterical. She didn’t even remember it for months, and her mother took the blame. When it came out, she got a suspended sentence. He says he’s sorry; she was so young. It must have been painful. She says, it did a lot of damage to her and her mother. When they showed her the file, she was stunned, but she didn’t say anything. Curtis says she needs to know that she can tell him anything, and she thanks him.

Nikolas tells Ava, he has to believe Lulu will fight with everything inside her. Somewhere in her mind or soul, she knows Rocco and Charlotte need their mother. Ava says it’s okay for him to admit he needs Lulu too, and he says he doesn’t think he realized how much he depended on Lulu as his moral compass. She says, as angry as Lulu was because he let them believe he’d died, she’s still his sister. Sisters forgive their brothers. At least they’re supposed to, right? That’s what being a family is. Nikolas asks if she’s talking about Lulu and him, or her and Julian.

Martin says Julian has to forgive him. Since he was mugged in the parking garage and his briefcase was stolen, he keeps pepper spray at the ready to make him feel safer. Julian wouldn’t know anything about that, would he? Julian says, no, sorry, and Martin says, normally he doesn’t offer refreshment to people who break into his office, and if Julian doesn’t make his point soon, his manners are going to evaporate. Julian asks if their conversation is under attorney/client privilege, and Martin says, for the right price. Julian says, the price is right; trust him. Sonny and Jason want him dead; his sister does too. Martin asks what gave rise to this belief, and Julian says Ava tried to shoot him, and he thought the best way to get away was to jump from the turret. Which he did, as Jason and Sonny arrived, also brandishing pistols. They think he’s dead, but they’re going to keep looking for him until they find his body. He needs to leave town or they’ll kill him, and if not them, Cyrus. Martin says this doesn’t fall under his job as an attorney. What’s his role? Julian is glad he asked. He needs Martin to help him get out of town.

Sonny tells Cyrus, it’s a simple question. Julian asked him to murder Jason. What was his response? Cyrus says he flatly refused. Eliminating Jason would be a violation of the truce, and downright stupid. He has no desire to provoke a war. Enough people have been hurt already. He turned Julian down, but clearly Julian was desperate. Cyrus assumes Julian took the matter into his own hands. Sonny says, so Julian bombed The Floating Rib? and Cyrus says, Julian was willing to blow up the whole city if that’s what it took. No one has seen Julian, and he imagines Julian is making his way to some country that won’t extradite him. Good luck to the police. He hopes they succeed in tracking him. He tells Sonny that he’ll see himself out. He calls for Brando, and says, let’s go. Brando looks at Sonny, and they leave. Sonny tells Jason, Cyrus really wants them to go after Julian, doesn’t he?

Taggert says Carly is absolutely right; Cyrus is the real problem. All roads point back to him. Carly says, Sonny is on Taggert’s side. He gave Taggert a place to stay, and protected him and Trina. It might not look the way it used to, but at least he’s not really dead. He says, it’s an adjustment, relying on Sonny, and Carly says their daughters are best friends. Trina and Portia are welcome in their home anytime; their families are connected. She remembers when Taggert worked for the PCPD. He was relentless in trying to take Sonny down. He had his justifications, but today, this is where they are, united in a common enemy. Taggert says, agreed, but he wishes Sonny would work faster. He needs to get the job done now. He tells her, truth be told, he should have thrown his badge away years ago, and taken on Cyrus himself.

Trina asks the man what he knows about her dad, and he tells her, stick around. Someone will be by to tell her what she needs to know. He disappears. Not literally, but he’s gone quickly.

Jordan tells Portia, she’s so sorry. The Floating Rib was bombed on her watch. Portia says Jordan wasn’t there, and Jordan says, that’s the problem. She knows Trina and Dev were friends, and Portia says, it’s been hard, especially so close to the death of Trina’s father. Jordan says again, she’s so sorry. She and Curtis thought they were so smart, getting out of town, and out from under Cyrus’s thumb. She left in the middle of a crisis. Maybe if she’d been there, Cyrus would have given her a heads up, and she could have saved lives. Portia says, then what? If Cyrus found out she’d gone against him, he would have threatened TJ again.

Curtis says, maybe Cyrus is dredging up the case to hurt Laura, but she says, that’s the thing. It’s a matter of public record, and she’s never hidden it. He says, maybe this new piece of the puzzle will shed some light on that. He asks if the name Florence Gray means anything to her.

Ava tells Nikolas, she was thinking about Lulu. As devastating as her condition is, she’s alive, so there’s hope. There’s a chance Lulu will wake up one day, and there will be one less death on the hands of whoever planted the bomb. He says, two people are dead, and his sister is comatose. Whoever planted the bomb should go straight to hell. They just need to figure out who it is. Has she heard anything he needs to know?

Martin tells Julian, he’s not a travel agent, and Julian isn’t asking for legal assistance. Julian says Martin might want to help him. When he was hiding there, he started snooping around. He found a safe, and figured there was cash in it that Martin didn’t want to declare. Martin says that’s not Julian’s business, but Julian says, it is. He might want that cash as well as Martin’s car keys. If he goes back to his place, or uses his car or bank accounts, they’ll know he’s alive, and that’s not good. Martin asks, why on God’s green earth does Julian think he’d agree? Julian says he figured Martin would say that, so while he was snooping, he happened to find an interesting picture tucked away in one of Martin’s old law journals. It seems as if Mr. Gray has secrets of his own.

Laura tells Curtis, Gray is a common name. He says, that’s what they thought when they ran into Martin, but the name Florence is more distinctive. She asks if they think Florence Gray is connected to Cyrus, and he says they’re fairly certain that’s who Cyrus was keeping at the Wilson address. Laura says, and the recipient of the loving postcard? and he says, that’s the theory. They traced the medical supplies to a company in Mexico City. They looked at the records, and came up with an account at that address. Any chance she recognizes it? He tells her to remember she can tell him anything. Laura says, her biological father was married to Florence Gray.

Portia asks Jordan if Cyrus is responsible for the explosion, and Jordan says they’re almost certain. Portia says if Jordan had been in town, Cyrus would have threatened her to get her cooperation, so it’s best she was out of the equation. Mac Scorpio is sparing her grief. Jordan says, true. Cyrus doesn’t have the same history or leverage with Mac, and Portia says, maybe Mac can actually make a case, and Trina can see the man responsible for her father’s death brought to justice.

Carly says she knows Taggert is getting anxious to see his daughter, but Sonny knows what he’s doing. Taggert says he’s tired of just doing nothing, and thinking of Trina grieving another loss. He saw Dev on Halloween night , and he seemed like a decent kid. Carly says, it’s not Sonny’s fault, but Taggert says, it’s Sonny’s fault he hasn’t gotten Cyrus yet. Maybe Carly’s daughter is used to danger, but his isn’t. She says, how dare he act holier than thou with her? He would have framed Sonny if he’d had the chance. Compromises have consequences, and his didn’t just affect him, but they affected her family. All of this is on him.

Cyrus approaches Trina’s table, and she says she’s supposed to be meeting someone. He says the someone she’s supposed to meet is him, and she says she’s out of there. He says he only has her best interest at heart, and she says, like what he did to her father? Cyrus had her kidnapped, so he could ambush her father, and her dad died saving her. Why would she want to listen to him? He says she’s mistaken. Her father didn’t sacrifice his life to save her. He’s not actually dead. He’s very much alive.

Portia tells Jordan, they came to a meeting of the minds when Jordan told her the truth about her relationship with Cyrus. Is there anything else Jordan has to tell her? Jordan says, actually, there is something she hasn’t told Portia.

Laura tells Curtis, her biological father is Gordon Gray, and his wife’s name was Florence. Is it even possible it’s the same person? Curtis says, Florence Gray lived in Port Charles. Coincidence? Maybe. Laura says, they lived in Port Charles for a few years, but then they moved. She doesn’t know where they went. He takes it they weren’t close, and she says, not at all. Gordon was her mother’s mentor, and they had an affair. When she was born, they told her mother that she was dead. He says he’s sorry; that’s awful. Laura says, fortunately for her, she was raised by a wonderful family, but she didn’t actually live with Leslie until she was a teenager. He says a lot has happened in her life, and she says she was no easy teen either, but Leslie never gave up on her. That’s why they became close. She was fortunate they had such a close relationship. If Cyrus is responsible for what happened to her daughter… He says he feels the same way, but if they can figure out if Florence Gray was the woman married to Laura’s biological father, and can figure out why Cyrus was taking care of her, they might have leverage.

Carly tells Taggert, Instead of complaining that Sonny hasn’t taken down Cyrus the way he’d like, he might want to be grateful for his life. They’re doing this for Trina, not him.

Trina asks if Cyrus really just said her father was alive. She’d be an idiot to believe anything he told her. She was there when her father died. She was at the funeral, and watched when they put the coffin in the ground. She doesn’t know where he’s coming up with this information. He says he never did anything to her father. Her father pretended to be dead to protect her from the criminals who kidnapped her to get to him.

Ava tells Nikolas, there are rumors Cyrus was involved, but he’s too slippery to let himself be implicated. Nikolas says, if evidence shows up pointing to Cyrus, he’s a dead man, and Ava tells him, let the police do their job, so when Lulu wakes up, she doesn’t have to visit him in prison. They go inside, and Nikolas thanks her for being optimistic about Lulu. Despite the miserable way their marriage started, he’s relieved to have her by his side. When Lulu was taken away, he needed her support. Ava says, by his side is where she was meant to be, and Nikolas says, not just for show? She was so late getting there, he was worried. Ava says she had to move heaven and earth to get there, and she was willing to do that. Is he? Nikolas asks, so are they married for real? She moves toward him, and says, last night she heard herself say, I love Nikolas, and she meant it. As far as she’s concerned, their marriage is as real as gets.

Martin tells Julian the photo is doctored, but Julian asks if he’s sure, considering what it says on the back. He wouldn’t mind if the picture found its way into Sonny’s hands? Martin moves for the pepper spray, but Julian grabs it. He suggests they play it nice and simple, and tells Martin to open the safe

Sonny tells Jason, he’s convinced Cyrus has something to do with the bombing, and believes Julian helped, but he doesn’t think it was Julian’s idea. Cyrus is trying to put enough air between him and Julian to make them think his hands are clean. He thinks he covered his tracks, but he’s wrong

Cyrus tells Trina, he admires the way Taggert protected her. A parent’s love for a child is the most beautiful thing in the world, and her father is brimming with love for her. She says, if it’s true, where is he?

Taggert wants Carly to know he’s truly grateful to her and Sonny for hiding him, and everything they’re doing for Trina. He’s getting angry and frustrated, and has time on his hands. He’s been thinking about how Trina had to hear he was a corrupt cop. Carly says Josslyn told her that Trina is determined to set the record straight and clear his name. She refuses to see him as anything but a hero. He says he told Sonny that the only reason he hasn’t killed Cyrus is, if he’s caught, he’ll go to prison, or he’ll be on the run his whole life, and he’ll lose Trina forever. She tells him to trust Sonny. He’ll know when the time is right. Taggert asks what if Cyrus gets rid of Sonny first?

Nikolas tells Ava that he doesn’t want any threat to their happiness, including Ryan. She says, Ryan’s not a threat; he’s in a coma from the stabbing Nikolas claimed he arranged. Nikolas says, as long as Ryan is alive, there’s a chance he’ll continue to blackmail her, and demand they divorce, or he’ll expose what he knows about Julian. Ava says they don’t have to worry about Julian. He’s not a problem anymore. Nikolas asks what she means.

Martin opens the safe, and tells Julian, relax. He doesn’t keep a firearm, but he’s rethinking that for the future. He does have a letter written by Julian’s late wife. The original was delivered to Ryan per Nelle’s instructions. It makes for interesting reading; how Julian helped steal Sonny’s grandson. Julian says once Sonny realizes Martin has been sitting on that information for months, he’ll kill him. Martin should destroy it for his own sake. Martin takes out a bunch of money stacks, and puts them on the desk. Julian picks them up, and Martin says he gave Julian everything he has. Now it’s Julian’s turn. Give him back his photo.

Portia asks what Jordan needs to tell her, and Jordan says they uncovered a clue that could lead to Cyrus’s vulnerability. They can use it against him, and get the upper hand. What she’s trying to say is, this could be over soon, and they can stop agonizing about their kids. She’ll know TJ is safe, and Trina will get the justice she deserves.

Laura tells Curtis, she doesn’t know much about her biological father, and even less about his wife. She doesn’t see how there could possibly be a connection to Cyrus, and wondered why the interest in David Hamilton. What is Cyrus doing, and where is it leading? Curtis said the only pattern that jumped out was that Laura seemed to be at the center.

Cyrus tells Trina that he’s sorry; he has no idea where her father is. He only knows her father is still alive. She asks if he has any photos or videos, and he says he doesn’t, but he got the information from a trusted source. He didn’t think she should continue to hurt and grieve over someone who’s still in the land of the living. If he could locate her father, he would, but most of the people in town are hostile toward him. Trina says she wonders why, and Cyrus says he admires her spirit. He sincerely hopes she finds her father. There’s nothing better than a child reuniting with the parent they love. Trina suggests he stop acting like she believes what he’s saying; she doesn’t. Not one word. Cyrus jets.

Taggert tells Carly, the odds are good that Cyrus will kill more people than he already has, the longer Sonny waits.

Cyrus joins his righthand dude, and says he met with Trina. Mark his words, she’ll find Taggert if he’s there. And when she does, he’ll be there to kill Taggert – again.

Jason tells Sonny, Cyrus paid the bartender to call Julian, who delivered the bomb for Cyrus. Sonny says, they’re both responsible, and Jason says, Cyrus is the bigger threat. Sonny says he hopes they find him alive. They can use him against Cyrus. Jason says other people have survived the fall. There’s a good chance Julian is alive. Sonny wonders where he is, since Ava isn’t hiding him. They have to find Julian.

Julian tells Martin, no can do. He needs the photo for insurance purposes. He starts loading up Martin’s briefcase with the money, and Martin says, for heaven’s sake. Not another briefcase. He gave Julian what he wanted; that was the deal. Julian says, it wasn’t a deal, and don’t mention he saw him. If he finds out Martin mentioned his name, he’ll make sure Martin’s deep, dark secret gets exposed. He closes the briefcase, and asks if Martin isn’t going to wish him good luck and God speed. Martin says, go to hell, and Julian says he’s going to spend his life looking over his shoulder. He’s already there.

Nikolas tells Ava he knows how desperate Julian was. He kept finding excuses to stay in Port Charles. He prays Julian is gone now, and asks how certain she is. She says she knows, and wants him to leave it there. He asks where her brother is, and she says, he’s not a problem anymore. Nikolas says Ava told him that she loved him. If that’s true, tell him. She says, Julian is dead, and he’s dead because of her.

Jax asks if Nina forgives Valentin, Ava and Nikolas come to an understanding, and Carly asks Sonny to tell her that he’s going to make Julian pay

Southern Charm

A state of emergency was declared in South Carolina, and Craig’s voiceover (I guess he’s officially replaced Cameran) told us, as Georgia and the rest of the world went into lockdown, they got used to their new normal. We saw what everyone was doing at home, and the Black Lives Matter protests after the death of George Floyd. Craig said, after two months that felt like two years, restrictions were lifted, and Charleston was back – sort of.

June. People were masked and cleaning like mad. Michael waited for Patricia, as she grilled him about what supplies he had in the car, like antibacterial wipes and masks. Patricia came out wearing a black lace skirt with slits up to there, and Michael joked that her skirt was indecent. She said, good; too bad no one was around to enjoy it. In Patricia’s interview, she said that both she and Michael were at an age where they were vulnerable, and had started a self-imposed quarantine in March, along with Whitney, who had come to visit. She told Michael, her hair was so long, she felt like an aging hippie, and in her interview, said Michael had been coloring her hair, and she looked like a skunk. They drove to Krispy Kreme, as we all would want to.

Craig’s new girlfriend Natalie was staying with him. In his interview, he said he was pretty sure he loved her. He said, at this point, only the major cities had problems with the virus, and he thought people were overreacting. He claimed he was careful, but we saw clips of him and Shep being not so careful. All of his major deals were on hold, and his business partner thought they should throw an HSN virtual pillow party. Craig balked at the idea, saying his chemistry was better in person, but dude was like, um… we’re in the middle of a pandemic. Shep’s girlfriend Taylor was staying with him as well, and told Shep that she couldn’t smell her armpits. In Shep’s interview, he said, at first he was crazy about taking precautions, but then started not caring. Quarantining with Taylor, he’d gotten a peek into the white picket fence life. He’d looked over the fence and didn’t hate it.

Madison said homeschooling sucked, but luckily son Hudson was smarter than her. Austen met his parents and sister for dinner, and even though they were sitting outside, it looked like no one was observing much of any kind of restrictions. In his interview, Austen said his entire business was based around bars and restaurants, and they were down 46%. The beer was sitting in a warehouse going bad. Madison got together with her mom and aunt, and told them that before quarantine, she and Austen had been good, but she had a five-year plan, and Austen had been doing the opposite. Austen griped that Madison had put him in the backseat, while she was bettering her life by doing things like going to the gym. His sister suggested maybe Madison was on to something, and he should grow up or get out. Reaching for justification, Austen’s mom wondered if Austen and Madison were really compatible. Madison said she was conflicted, and her mom said she was successful and independent. She’d done it all herself, and was a good mom. She didn’t need to have a man. She told them that she was having a birthday party for Austen on a private island.

John said he finally got his boys. They couldn’t come for spring break, but now it was dad camp. Madison called and told him about the birthday party. Leva called Danni, and asked if she’d talked to Kathryn. (This was at the time of the monkey emoji debacle.) Danni said she’d reached out, but she knew that Kathryn needs her space sometimes. Leva said Kathryn had reached out to her a lot, asking for advice. She thought maybe she was Kathryn’s only non-white friend. In Danni’s interview, she said it was a f*** you to her. She’d been there for Kathryn when her mother passed away, and had even been the one to tell her. Leva asked if Danni knew about the statue of John C. Calhoun, who was one of Kathryn’s ancestors. He’d been Vice President twice, and fought to keep slavery, it being his last dying wish. Leva said they were having a conference about taking down the statue, and invited Danni. In Leva’s interview, she thought being able to have a conversation without it being radical was like a weight being lifted. She thought it would be healing for the community, and a powerful first step.

We saw several news clips about Calhoun being 7^th Vice President, and supporting slavery. The meeting was at the base of the statue, and Leva said Calhoun Street used to be Boundary Street, and Calhoun was looking down on the boundary between Black and white people. The other Madison from Gwynn’s joined them, along with a few of Leva’s friends. State Representative and minority leader Todd Rutherford gave a speech about why the statue should come down, and said it was time to move on. There weren’t that many people, but that could have been due to the pandemic. In her interview, Leva said Charleston was an old Southern city that was used to everyone being quiet and staying in their place. Leva said she thought it was a beautiful first step. They had more work to do, but taking down the symbols that triggered old pain was a start.

Kathryn told us, during quarantine, she and Thomas were week on/week off with the kids. She had to figure out homeschooling now, and was trying to make the best of it. Madison called, and Kathryn told her that she had to be creative with entertaining the kids. Madison told her about the party, and said it was really a reason to get everyone together and have fun. Kathryn said she was super depressed about the emoji thing, but Madison didn’t know what was going on. Kathryn said it was a genuine mistake, and had nothing to do with politics or race. In Kathryn’s interview, she said a friend was promoting a Trump party, and although she wasn’t a Trump supporter, her friend was being bullied. Someone started trolling her, and she posted it along with, that’s how seriously I take this, thinking the emoji looked funny. Madison said she had to watch what she said, and think about other people. Kathryn told her that she’d gotten so much hate online, she’d been in a bubble lately.

Leva and friends went to Republic for some food and drink. Danni said Kathryn never talked about her family history, and Madison said she thought Kathryn should be doing more. They toasted to what could be an important day in history, and to change. Danni admitted to being ignorant, and everyone agreed full history wasn’t taught enough in school. Leva said they needed to remove the things that glorified enslavement, and one of the women said these historical figures lived in a time period when they fought for a right they thought existed. Germany wasn’t still flying Nazi flags. Leva said she struggled with Kathryn, and thought Kathryn had to know what was a trigger. If it was her great-grandfather’s statue, she’d know. One of Leva’s friends said Kathryn should speak out; use her voice in a positive light and move on. In Leva’s interview, she said Kathryn should have been there to say it was okay. She told the group that she informed Kathryn about the statue being taken down, and Kathryn said she didn’t care; it was ugly. Leva thought Kathryn was trying to be funny, but she was offended. Madison suggested Kathryn didn’t think that way because of her privilege, and one of the other women said she wished she knew what privilege felt like. Danni thought Kathryn was just selfish, saying, she had no empathy, and couldn’t put herself in other people’s shoes. She ignored everything. Madison said, obviously Kathryn couldn’t help who her ancestors were, but she should speak out. The monkey emoji was brought up, and Madison said there was more to it than that. Kathryn feigned ignorance, but she’d told the person to stop using their minority claim, and they were what was wrong with Charleston. Kathryn had tried to say she didn’t know who she talking to, but with a statement like that, she did, so they fired her. We saw a news blurb that said Kathryn didn’t reflect the values of the brand, and had been terminated. Leva asked if Danni was going to continue their friendship, but Danni said they hadn’t talked in months. Madison said Kathryn reached out when it benefited her, and Danni knew that. IMO, Kathryn wasn’t necessarily thinking in a racist way, but she definitely wasn’t thinking. (Read all about it in the links below, and decide for yourself.) I also think what Danni said is true; she lacks empathy, and she’s very focused on herself, but I don’t know why. She’s been through a lot, and you never know what’s really going on with a person. This is why I don’t think cancel culture is a good look. Most of the time anyway. People make mistakes, and while they should be held accountable for their actions, icing them out isn’t going to teach anybody anything, and I would hope that would be a part of the change we’d like to see in the world. Okay, getting down off my soapbox now.

Shep met with his trainer at an empty gym, and brought Lil Craig along, the real star of this show. He wondered where Austen was, and said it wasn’t like him not to show up. He called Austen, who said something wasn’t right. He was feeling flu-y, and achy. Shep said that was scary. He thought if Austen felt better the next day, he was in the clear, but he wasn’t a doctor. Austen promised he’d bounce back quick, and in Shep’s interview, he said, if you feel sick during a pandemic, and the symptoms are flu, it’s covid. He called Craig, and told him Austen had bailed because of he was feeling flulike. Shep said he was wigging out, because they’d all gone out the past weekend, and Craig said he felt fine. Shep said he did too, and wondered if Madison was still going to have the party. Shep said again that he was wigging out about Austen.

Three days later. Austen made a Zoom call to Madison, but struggled trying to tell her, since he’s such a big baby. He finally spit out that he’d recently tested positive for corona, and obviously they’d just gotten together. We saw a clip of Austen and Madison out with Craig and Shep, and Austen said he was surprised since he’d just tested negative. Madison said he and Craig went out to bars, stayed out all night, and had people over. Now she and Hudson were at risk. She called him selfish, and said she was trying to throw a party for him. The salon had been closed for months, and just reopened. Now everything was legit ruined. He said he could have gotten it from her, since she was working. That’s where I would have hung up, and never talked to him again, but Madison called him an effing idiot, and asked if he’d never heard of protection. She stayed pretty calm, but she was definitely seething, and said her son could have been exposed. Austen said he was praying Hudson wasn’t positive, and hoped and prayed the important people in his life, like her, were negative. He said they didn’t need to hash all this out right now, and she told him that he wasn’t setting foot in her house unless she knew he was negative. He said he understood she was pissed, but they’d talk when he came out of it. She hung up on him, and he said, really? Yes. Really, Austen. As Madison said, you’re an effing idiot.

Next time, Shep tests negative, but everyone else is positive; Austen says it’s not good with Madison; John chats up Madison; Craig joins QVC virtually to sell pillows; the Calhoun statue comes down; and Dani confronts Kathryn.

What I Watched Today

General Hospital

Unlike Susan Lucci, I did not break my streak, and missed the first 2.0567 minutes. Here are the takeaway points. After Sasha discovered the drugs Cyrus had slipped her at the MetroCourt, he asked if she’d lost her appetite. She wondered how he knew about her appetite. Woowoo. Ned told Monica that Valentin was using Brook, and Monica told Ned to quit treating Brook like a baby. Sonny read a bedtime story to Avery called The Enchanted Penny, and she showed him her lucky half-heart necklace. Michael kissed Willow, and admitted that he didn’t want to sign the annulment papers. At Pizzulo’s, Carly asked for Jason’s help with Sasha, and Sonny joined the conversation. And away we go.

Brook tells Chase, the threat is gone, and Nelle is dead – thank God. He needs to tell Willow the facts. He says he thought she was tight with Michael. Why is she trying to break Michael and Willow up? She says, there he goes again. She thought he said Willow and Michael were getting an annulment. They’re breaking themselves up. She loves Michael, she loves Willow, and loves Michael and Willow together. Willow is probably the only woman on earth who gets along with both the Corinthos and Quartermaine families, and the only one good enough for Michael. But she’s not suggesting Willow drop-kick Michael to the curb. She’s suggesting honesty. If Willow has to decide between two awesome men – Chase says Brook thinks he’s awesome? – then she needs real information. Like, one of the guys pretended he was having an affair, thought he was doing a good thing, but was still madly in love with her kind of information.

Michael tells Willow, just because they have the paperwork, doesn’t mean they have to sign it right away. They don’t have to change anything right now. She says she wasn’t expecting to see it so soon, and she’s not ready to sign them either. Michael says, so they’re on the same page, and Willow says, pun intended. He says the paperwork will be there, and they can sign it when they’re ready. She tells him that she’s glad he said that; it was brave. He doesn’t know about that, but she says she does. Now it’s her turn. She thinks she’s still afraid he thinks he’s obligated to her, and she’s been tripping over herself, thinking she should set him free, but she doesn’t know what he wants. Michael says he’s been doing the same thing. She’s an amazing person, and deserves everything in life, including choosing who she’s with, instead of… She says, marriage choosing them? So what do they do now?

Carly tells Jason and Sonny, she had a strong suspicion in the beginning, and Sasha confirmed it. She never slept with Chase. They pretended, so Michael and Willow could present a united front. Jason says, so Michael could get custody. Carly says she went along with it, and looked the other way because Wiley was the priority, and Michael and Willow were great together, but Sasha can’t handle it. She’s spiraling out of control. She’s doing drugs and having dinner with Cyrus. She must be getting the drugs from him. Sasha’s life is falling apart, and Carly has to do something. Jason says, she doesn’t.

Cyrus tells Sasha, he doesn’t think either of them is inspired be the menu. Why doesn’t she come back to his place? He makes a killer coq au vin. Sasha flashes back to Chase saying, Nelle is emotionally damaged, and will emotionally damage Wiley. It will destroy Willow. Sasha tells him, it will destroy Michael too. Chase says, they’re the only ones in a position to stop it, and Sasha says she’s committed. She tells Cyrus, why not? He says, excellent, and they leave.

Nina says, so her baby survived, and Phyllis says, yes; she had a daughter, a beautiful perfect little girl. Nina says Phyllis told her she wasn’t there at the birth, and Phyllis says she wasn’t, but got to spend a fair amount of time with the baby afterward. She’ll explain everything. Nina says she knew it. She always knew her baby survived. Jax says, before they go any further, this has been a torturous process, and they’ve been told a lot of lies. He encourages transparency; they’re going to have everything vetted. Phyllis says they should, and Nina asks why Phyllis didn’t tell her when she woke from her coma years later. Phyllis says Nina was so disoriented in the beginning, she thought about it a lot, but felt she should wait until Nina was stronger. Then Nina left abruptly. If she’s being honest, she wondered if it was even her place to get involved. She was very relieved when Nina’s P.I. contacted her. All she ever wanted was the best for Nina. She’s been carrying the secret for so long, waiting to be asked. Nina says, the wait is over, and Phyllis says, ask her anything. Nina asks, what happened to her daughter?

Phyllis tells Nina, she’s been waiting all this time; now she hardly knows where to start. As Nina knows, she was part of a private nursing staff Nina’s mother hired. They were paid to be discreet, and not ask questions. Her mother made it very clear that the baby’s father wasn’t to know. She told them the baby’s father had something to do with Nina being in a coma. Nina says her mother was trying to misdirect them. She’s the one who put Nina in a coma, not her husband. Phyllis says she’s so sorry. She thought she was doing the right thing, and couldn’t have been more wrong.

Carly says there has to be something they can do. Sonny could kidnap Sasha, like he did Kristina, and they could do an intervention; get Sasha help. Jason says he gets it. She feels bad because Sasha made a huge sacrifice, and now she’s suffering. Carly says, to the point that she’s hurting herself, but Jason says, there are two issues. One, Sasha chose to take drugs, and chose to see Cyrus. Carly can’t take charge of Sasha’s life to make herself feel better. Two, now Sasha is connected to Cyrus. If they get involved, it could go sideways, and that won’t be good for anyone.

Brando opens Cyrus’s apartment door, and Cyrus and Sasha go in. Sasha asks where the bathroom is, and Cyrus gives her the standard answer, down the hall, second door on the left. He tells Brando to take the rest of the night off, and Brando asks if Cyrus is sure this is the best idea. Cyrus says, excuse me? and Brando says, never mind. He gets paid to drive Cyrus’s car, not give Cyrus his opinion. Cyrus says if Brando has something on his mind, he’d like to hear it. Brando says, that girl is trouble he doesn’t need.

Monica says Brook is Ned’s child, but she’s also an adult. He says, that’s debatable, and she says, right there. He’s got to find some humility, and stop thinking he knows better than Brook what she needs. They both made mistakes; big mistakes. Ned says, agreed, and she says, either both of them won’t forgive he other or they both will, but stop thinking he’s running the show. Does he know who he reminds her of? He says, grandfather, and she says, and his self-righteous attitude toward Tracy. Look where it got him.

Brook tells Chase, Willow deserves to know his feelings haven’t changed. He says, what if she chooses Michael? and she says, then she chooses Michael, but Willow gets to decide. Willow has a better handle on her own life than Chase does. Chase asks if Brook’s resolved things with her dad, and she says, way to change the subject. He says he’ll talk to Willow, but he’s not the only person who owes someone a conversation. Go to her dad and settle things. She won’t feel good about leaving unless she does. They get in the elevator, and she says he was trying to trick her into going to the Quartermaines with him. He asks if it worked.

Michael says he thinks he and Willow have something remarkable, and now’s their chance to find out for themselves. Willow says, with no outside force, and he says, no Nelle hanging over their heads; no court dates looming; and no time constraints. He looks at Willow, and says, what? but she says, nothing. He says they need to be honest, and he promises not to judge or laugh or anything. She says, the other night at the gym, he looked hot; ridiculously sexy. He laughs, and she says he promised he wouldn’t. He says he’s laughing because he felt the same way. Not about himself, but her. He’s surprised she didn’t notice. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her.

Brook and Chase go to the Quartermaine mansion, and Chase explains to Monica that he’s off-duty. He’s there to see Willow. Brook says she came to see her dad, and Ned comes out. Monica suggests Brook and Ned go into the living room, and she’ll show Chase upstairs. Brook asks Chase to stay a minute, and Chase says, sure. Ned wonders if maybe Monica should join them too; a referee of sorts. Not that they need one. Brook and Monica agree, and Monica tells Ned, this may be his last chance. Don’t blow it. Brook thanks Chase for the moral support. She knows he didn’t come there to babysit her. He says he gets it. What’s another few minutes?

Apparently, a lot. Michael says, it feels weird considering… Willow says, they’re married? He says he doesn’t want to pressure her, but she says she doesn’t feel pressured. She feels very attracted to him, and she has for a long time. He says, him too. Attracted to her, not himself. She says, since they’re into each other, they should do something about that. He says he thought she’d never ask, and kisses her.

Jason tells Carly, one thing they don’t want is a war before they’re ready. Sonny says, especially since Cyrus is tied to the hospital, and Jason says, they could put a lot of people in harm’s way. They don’t want a fight just yet. Carly says she gets it, but they know her. She can’t sit and do nothing. Jason tells her, he never said do nothing.

Brando tells Cyrus, Sasha used to date Michael, and Cyrus says, used to. Brando says, still, she’s involved with Sonny, even if peripherally. It might piss Sonny off to find out Cyrus is hanging around her. Cyrus asks what Brando suggests, and Brando says he thinks Cyrus should ask himself, after everything he’s built, is she worth it? Cyrus appreciates the warning, but he can handle the girl. Sasha comes back, and asks if she missed the fun, and Cyrus says, Brando was just leaving, and the fun is about to begin. He closes the door in Brando’s face.

Nina understands Phyllis thought her life was in danger – Phyllis says, from the wrong person, but yes – but what happened to her daughter? Phyllis says there were no guarantees Nina would emerge from the coma, although it happens; she’s living proof. At the time, she didn’t know what was going to happen. Madeline was in no position to raise a child, and found a couple who desperately wanted a baby. One who could provide one with a stable, loving home. At least that’s what they told Madeline. Nina takes it that Phyllis doesn’t know where the baby went, but Phyllis says she not only knows where, she took Nina’s daughter there herself. Jax says, she personally delivered the baby to a new family? and Nina says, oh my God. Who were they?

Michael and Willow bask in the afterglow. I don’t know why, but this makes me cringe. Michael says he thinks they’re compatible, and Willow says, really, really, really compatible, and I cringe some more. She says, more than she expected, and he says he’s glad. She says, her too. He’s got some moves. He says she’s got some surprises up her sleeve as well, and I might have to leave the room. He says it’s like he’s seeing her for the first time. He never allowed himself to look at her like this, or feel about her like this. He had blinders on. She calls him Mr. Compartmentalization, and he says, the family thing, the work thing, the illegal thing. It was a new box that he didn’t let take over, but he doesn’t want to compartmentalize her. She asks what he wants right now, and he says, now works right now. She says she was thinking she wants to do this, and they get busy again.

Brook tells Ned, sometimes when you lay down a track, you think it’s great, but when you play it back… Ned says, you wonder, what was I thinking? She says, that’s how she felt the last time she was there. Everything she said was wrong. He says he felt the same way, and she says, maybe if they could stop blaming each other. Ned says he never… and Monica says, Ned. He says, sorry. How can he make her see he’s not the enemy? She says she doesn’t think he is. Does he think she is? He says, God no. She’s his daughter, and he loves her. If he ever made her feel like he didn’t… She says she didn’t come there to rehash everything. She wanted him to know that she’s heading home to Bensonhurst. She called her mom, who has a room ready for her. She’s going to live with her mom until she figures out what’s next. He says, for what? and she says, me.

Phyllis says Nina’s daughter was a trooper on the bus. The ride was long; they traveled through the night. They made some stops on the way, and got off at a little town in north Florida. Calling it a town is a stretch; it was more like a rest stop off the highway. The couple met her in a black town car. Jax doesn’t suppose she got the license plate number, and she says, it all happened fast. For a split second, she considered getting back on the bus, but they were so nice. They melted when they saw Nina’s girl, the mother especially. Nina asks if she has a name, but Phyllis says, no name, no way to trace them. That was the deal. Nina says, so Phyllis just gave them the baby, and that was it? Phyllis says, the woman smiled at the baby with such adoration, it made her feel like it was okay. They got in the car, and drove off. She never saw them, or Nina’s daughter, again.

Jason says Carly can reach out to Sasha as a friend if she wants to help make a difference. Does she know how he knows? Carly says, because she’s the best friend to have in the world, and Jason says, sometimes the nuclear option is not the way to go. She says she hears him, and accepts it, for now. But if Sasha keeps going down this road any option is on the table. Jason says, fair enough, and she says she has to get Avery ready for Ava to pick up. Sonny says, her bedtime book is in her overnight bag, and asks Carly to kiss her for him. Carly leaves, and Sonny thanks Jason. Jason says, for what? and Sonny says, talking her down. Saying everything he said. Sonny couldn’t have said a word of it.

Sasha uses the remote to turn up Cyrus’s music system, and dances around. Cyrus asks if she’s all right, and she says, never better. Whatever he gave her, she’s never had anything like it. Is it new? He asks if she approves, and she says, on a scale of one to five, she gives it a ten. She laughs, and Brando listens in. Cyrus tells her, take it easy. The coco van won’t be ready for another hour. She says, dinner can wait. He gave her something amazing, and she’s ready to return the favor. Cyrus asks why she’s there. To punish someone else or herself?

Ned tells Brook, it’s all his fault. He messed up everything. Not freeing her from that predator’s contract, forcing her to work at ELQ, massively overreacting when she sold her stock. Of course (🍷) she wants to leave. Why would she want to stay? Brook says, half was her choice, the other half, random things no one anticipated. Ned says, like Nelle slashing her throat, and she says, he didn’t cause that; Nelle did. Ned starts to talk, but Monica tells him, let Brook finish. Brook says she can’t be running around, desperately trying to hold on to what she had in motion. She tried, but it didn’t work. So this her being a grown-up, taking the time to regroup and figure out what she wants. She’d like him to support that.

Willow says she’s not like Michael. She can’t compartmentalize. It’s not a problem, but she lets her emotions spill onto everything. Michael says she wears her heart on her sleeve. Willow says, sometimes, like with their situation, she thinks more like him; everything in its proper place. He was a friend – an amazing one, but still a friend – then Wiley’s father. She was someone to help him fight Nelle, and then they were co-parents. She thought of him as someone she could be with, but wouldn’t let herself feel it. Now she has, and it was incredible. He says, it was, and she says, she’s trying to say she’s finally allowing herself to see him for who he is, and feel what she feels for him – which is all good things. They take each other’s hands.

Nina says, so this is how it ends. Her little girl riding away in a black car, never to be seen again. Jax says, it’s a place to start. Maybe the people still live there, or the neighbors know who they are. Nina says, knowing her mother, there’s zero connection to her. Phyllis said she tried to put her foot down, but Madeline told her to let it go. But they’re not without hope. Should Nina’s daughter want to come looking for her, Phyllis gave her a piece of Nina to take with her.

Sonny tells Jason, they’re two totally different circumstances, but the reality is, Karen Wexler was messed up on drugs that Sonny gave her. It makes him look back to a time he doesn’t want to see. He doesn’t want to be anything like Cyrus, but he gave Karen drugs. It’s something he has to live with for the rest of his life. Jason says Sonny didn’t sell her the drugs; he wasn’t a dealer. Sonny says, no, but he gave them to her to relax. What matters is that he exploited her. He’s not making excuses.

Sasha tells Cyrus, if she wanted a shrink, she’d pay for one. Who the hell is he to try and figure her out? He’s not exactly a poster child for empathy, and his spiritual act fools no one. He thinks they should call it a night, and says he’ll have Brando take her home. She gets manic, and says she doesn’t need his driver. She doesn’t need his pity. Does he know who she is? She’s Sasha Gilmore, the face of Deception. Nothing and no one is going to control her. She strides toward the door, but suddenly clutches her chest, and doubles over.

Chase asks Monica where he can find Willow, and she says she thinks Willow is painting the playroom; she’ll point him in the right direction. She and Chase head upstairs, and Ned says he does support Brook. Brook says, but…? and he says hears her. He admires her soul searching, but he’s hoping instead of going back to her Bensonhurst, she’d do it there, in Port Charles. It’s been unbelievably full of turmoil and he messed things up, but he really loved having her there. He loves that they’ve been able to be in each other’s lives again. It would mean the world to him. Please move back. Stay here and figure things out.

Michael tells Willow, what a great new view. Besides the obvious, of course (🍷). She says, of course (🍷), and he says, no artificial limitations. They’re free to let things happen, and explore what that means to each other. It’s all about exploring. She says, so he’s into exploring, and takes his shirt off. Chase gives himself a pep-talk outside the door, and says, tell the truth. He walks in see Michael and Willow half-dressed.

Cyrus asks, what’s happening? and Brando listens at the door. He hears Cyrus say, for God’s sake, not here. He comes in with his gun drawn, and sees Sasha convulsing on the floor.

Sonny tells Jason, he has three daughters and a step-daughter. If someone did to them what he did, he’d kill them. Jason says, the same with Scout, but the reality is, they can’t change what happened. What Sonny has done in the time since… Sonny says, no one is giving them medals for their career choices, but Jason says, when Sonny took over the territory, he didn’t allow drugs. Twenty-five years later, there still aren’t drugs coming through. He’s not saying it balances the scales – that’s for God to figure out – but ultimately, Sonny switched directions, and did a lot of good for a lot of people. Life is a series of choices, and in this case, he made the right one. Sonny says they all know his conscience will rest easier once he’s eliminated Cyrus.

Phyllis says she insisted Nina’s mother give Nina’s daughter something of hers to hold onto. She had the heart necklace split in half, and half went with the baby she gave away. Nina takes the necklace out from under her blouse, and Phyllis says, that’s it. Wherever she is, Nina’s daughter must have the other half of the heart. Nina says, they’re back where they started.

On the phone, Carly says she needs Michael to call her as soon as he can. Avery comes downstairs, and she asks if Avery is packed and ready for her sleepover. She tells Avery how pretty she looks, and sees the necklace. She asks Avery what it is, and Avery says it’s her good luck charm. Carly flashes back to talking to Nina, and Nina showing her the necklace, saying, her daughter has the other half. Carly says, oh my God. It’s Nelle.

Super sleuth Carly does it again.

On Monday, Michael asks what Chase is doing there, Nina says the universe is telling her the story is closed, Brando says they have a situation, and Cyrus says he won’t have this tied to him.

General Hospital

At the vending machine, Franco apologizes to Epiphany, saying, he didn’t realize she was waiting. He had a hard time making a decision. She looks at the machine, and says, did he just take the last chocolate bar? He says, did he? and she says she’s just spent the last solid eight hours in pencil pushing hell. The only thing that made it bearable was knowing there was a chocolate bar waiting, and he seized the last one. He asks if she wants half, and she says she wants satisfaction. She wants justice. She wants her old job back. Cyrus appears, and says that’s not all she’ll get with that attitude.

Chase finds Brook at The Floating Rib, and he says he’s been looking for her. She congratulates him, adding, he found her. She’s alone; no Valentin. She’ll be out of his hair soon, and he can go back to his awesome life. He says, clearly, she’s never looked in his underwear drawer. She asks why she would do that, and he says she’d see there aren’t any G-strings.

Michael punches the heavy bag, and thinks about Willow. Dante asks what he’s angry about, but Michael says he’s just letting off steam. Dante says he thought Michael was going to town on the bag because he couldn’t stand the thought of losing Willow.

Elizabeth runs into Willow at the hospital, and says, it’s been a while. Willow says she was given time off for the custody hearing, and Elizabeth tells her, congratulations. She asks if Willow is back at work, but Willow says, actually, she was notified that they don’t need a full-time teacher, so she’s looking at her next step. She shows Elizabeth a booklet, and Elizabeth says she’s applying for the nurse’s training program. Willow says she’s fortunate to have the option. It’s one way her life has never been better. Mostly. Things are going so well, she and Michael are getting an annulment.

Carly is hugging Jax, when Nina and Sasha walk in. Carly tells Nina, just the person she needed to see. Nina says she’s surprised to see Carly, and tells Jax that she’s sorry she had to abandon him, but glad to see he has company. He asks how it went with Curtis, and she says Curtis has a new lead, and she’s a step closer to finding her child. Jax says, congratulations, and Carly says she didn’t know the search was back on. Nina says she didn’t broadcast it. Sasha says Nina has company, and it’s been a helluva day. She’s going to take off. Nina says she’s not, since she’s not feeling well.

Ava sees a romantic table set, and smells a rose. There’s a storm going on, and Nikolas is on the terrace. She joins him, and he says he sees she got his message. She says, it’s lovely, and stormy. Tell her why he lured her out there. We see Ava has a knife behind her back, and Nikolas says he didn’t lure her out. He invited her. She says he’s not the first person to invite her out there. She’s sure he remembers what happened; he witnessed it firsthand. He says, he did. Then he saved her life. She says, then hours later, they were married. It was a whirlwind. He says, that’s one word, and she says, any regrets? He says, hundreds. Her? She says, the same, and he asks what she’s holding behind her back. She says, insurance, and he asks if she thinks he’d go through all this trouble to toss her back in the harbor. She says she thinks it would be a permanent solution to their situation, but he says, believe it or not, he doesn’t want her dead. She says he just wants the family fortune all to himself, and he says, it is his family’s fortune. She says, not to mention Elizabeth.

Brook says Chase wouldn’t know what to do with a G-string if he had a fistful of singles. He says he’s trying to charm her after being a jerk, but she says she gets enough of that from her father. Just because she’s staying with Chase, doesn’t give him the right to weigh in on her life. He says he knows that, and if she’d stop talking, she could hear him. He’s saying he’s sorry.

Nina tells Sasha where the shower is, and says there’s a fluffy robe with her name on it. Take all the time she needs. Sasha says, it sounds great, but… Nina insists, and Sasha goes to the bathroom. Jax asks, what’s wrong with Sasha? and Carly says, she doesn’t look good. Nina says it’s not her place to say, but trust her. She wouldn’t have brought Sasha back if she didn’t think it was absolutely necessary.

Willow tells Elizabeth, she and Michael got married to protect Wiley from Nelle. Nelle isn’t a threat now, so staying married isn’t necessary. Elizabeth asks if Willow will still be a part of Wiley’s life, and Willow says, absolutely. Elizabeth says, if that’s what Willow feels is best, she’s happy for her. It’s no one’s business but theirs. Although sometimes people who have to craziest reasons for getting married, and the marriages you think will crash and burn, are the ones that last.

Michael tells Dante, he’s not losing Willow. They’re going to stay together until the annulment is finalized, and afterwards, they’re going to be co-parents. Dante says it sounds like they have it sorted out, and Michael says they made the decision together. Dante has one question. Did Michael say what he said to Willow because it’s what he wanted, or was it what he thought she wanted to hear?

Cyrus says he’s sorry it took so long to make Franco’s acquaintance, and introduces himself. Franco says he knows who Cyrus is; he saw his picture in the company newsletter. Epiphany adds, and on the news. Franco says Cyrus is a busy fella, and Epiphany says, he is. Firing half the staff and alienating the rest. Cyrus is sorry to hear about the low morale, and promises to bring it up to Britt. Franco says, everyone just wants to be heard, and Cyrus says he has a few minutes if Franco wants to meet with him, but Franco says tonight, some of them go to The Floating Rib. It’s karaoke night. Cyrus says, it sounds fun; he won’t keep Franco from it, but the door is open. He starts to walk away, but Franco says, hold on. How’s his singing voice? Want to be Simon to his Garfunkel?

Nikolas asks where Ava is getting the idea about him and Elizabeth, and she asks if she’s wrong. There must be at least a little something to it. He flashes back to kissing Elizabeth, and he says, in this case something is nothing. She says she knew it, and he says, fine. What he and Elizabeth have goes beyond friendship. In his darkest moments, he’s reached out to her, but it’s because they share a history; not because he wants to be with her. Ava says, that’s the most eloquent rationalization she’s ever heard. He says, look him in the eye, and tell him that she’s never sought out something she’s not getting from their marriage. She thinks back to kissing Franco, and he says he thought so. She tells him, she didn’t say anything, and he says she’s not as good a poker player as she thinks. She says he begged her, trapping her into what she thought was a fairytale romance. He says she asked him to talk about things, and he told her about his feelings. She says, so? What are words? Hot air without the action to back them up. To prove he wants her… He says he has to divorce her. Done.

Cyrus thanks Franco for the kind invitation, but he doesn’t want to infringe on the staff’s private event. Franco says it’s not like they close the place; everyone is welcome. Cyrus says, in that case, he has work to finish up. Perhaps he’ll see them later. He leaves, and Epiphany looks at Franco. He says, what? and she says he’d better run. Run.

Chase tells Brook, sorry for coming on too strong, but she says she’s actually impressed. He almost turned her around. He says, it’s working for him then, and she ask what’s the rest. As long as he’s not going to tell her that he’s kicking her out on the street.

Jax asks if Sasha needs a doctor, but Nina tells him not to push it. It was all she could do to get Sasha there. Carly says she’ll talk to Sasha, and Nina tries to stop her, but she keeps going. Nina tells Jax, even when Carly means well, she’s impossible. He says, she did bring wine, and Nina says, red wine. He says, Carly wanted to apologize for the scene she caused in the cemetery, and Nina says, when she accidentally pushed over Nelle’s gravestone? The only thing Carly is sorry about is Nina caught her

Sasha goes into the bathroom, and takes out her baggie of coke. Carly knocks on the door, and Sasha says she just needs a minute. Carly says, let her in, but Sasha keeps trying to get a hit of coke together using her Amex card. Her hands shake.

Dante says Michael doesn’t want an annulment? and Michael says, if it was up to him, they’d find a way to stay together, and make the marriage real. Make a life together, for Wiley’s sake, but also for themselves. Dante asks if Michael said this to her, and Michael says, of course (🍷) not. Dante says Michael wants to set Willow free from her obligation. He’s an idiot.

Willow tells Elizabeth, after Chase, she can’t think of starting something new. Michael has so much to give that’s going to waste in their so-called marriage. Elizabeth says she’s known Michael a long time. He’s a decent guy. Willow says, for the past few months, she’s been lucky to see that every day; how he is with Wiley and his family. Michael is honorable and kind, and sees the best in people. He should be able to share that with someone. Elizabeth says, it sounds like he already is.

Brook asks Chase to just give her more time, and he says he will. Eventually, she’ll have to find another place though. Brook says, don’t tell her to go back to her father, and Chase tells her not to worry. He was recently reminded that bringing families together by force of will isn’t in his skill set. She thanks him, and says she’ll definitely find a new situation. Not tonight though. She has other plans. He asks what they are, so he can disapprove of them, and I laugh. She shows him a flyer that says, Karaoke Night.

Dante tells Michael, don’t make life altering decisions based on what you think another person wants. It’s stupid, or at least a disappointment and a regret. It’s not fair to Willow either. Michael asks what he should do, and Dante says, be honest. Tell her how he feels, and let her decide. Don’t think the only decent thing is to separate. Michael says Willow deserves someone to be in love with, and they’re not in love. Dante asks how he knows, and Willow walks in. She asks if she’s interrupting.

Carly tells Sasha, open up; she’s worried. Sasha pops out, and says, all hers, but Carly says, nice try, and turns Sasha around. She tells Sasha to look in the mirror. Does she really want to go out looking like that? What’s a nice girl like her doing with a face like that? Sasha says she’s not that nice, and Carly says, really? Is she coming down with a cold? Sasha says she’s fine, but Carly says she doesn’t look fine.

Jax tells Nina, he knows how it looks, but he and Carly talked. She had no intention of knocking over Nelle’s headstone. She says he doesn’t have to lobby for Carly anymore. It’s nice that Carly came over with wine – red wine – and she apologized. They never have to speak about Nelle again. Jax is sorry it came to this. It will be a while before Carly stops looking over her shoulder. Nina doesn’t doubt it, and says it’s great Carly has him in her corner. Carly is Josslyn’s mother, and other people might not understand their relationship, but she does. He asks, what other people?

Back at the table, Ava asks what Nikolas is doing. He says, divorcing her. It’s what she said she needs for him to prove he’s not playing her. He lifts a dish cover, and underneath is a rolled up document. He says, voila! takes it off the plate, and tells her, the pages are flagged where she needs to sign. He’s following the conditions of the post-nup to the letter, and relinquishing 90% of the estate to her. Ava asks, what’s the catch? and he says, no catch. She says, of course (🍷) there is. She wonders if it’s some kind of trap, and he says, there is a price. She says, here it comes, and he says she can have everything she asked for – money, property, material things – but she can’t have him.

At The Floating Rib, Franco tells Epiphany that he did a good thing. She says, inviting the devil himself to their safe space? He says, even the devil gets lonely, and Elizabeth suggests he buy them round. She steers Epiphany to a table, and asks, what’s going on with her? Epiphany says, nothing; certainly nothing she wants to bring up at karaoke. Elizabeth asks how much they’ve been through, and how many times they’ve had each other’s backs, and Epiphany says, more times than she can count. Elizabeth says, then tell her, and Epiphany starts cry. She says she and Milo are breaking up, and I make a sad face.

Jax asks Nina what she means by other people. Did someone say something? She says, it’s not important. She wishes they were the only people in the relationship, but Carly will always be a part of his life. When co-parents get along… people talk. He says, all it is, is talk. They’re just two people trying to do the best for their daughter.

Sasha thanks Carly for her concern, but it doesn’t matter if she’s fine. Carly says she’s wrong, and doesn’t think Michael would agree. Sasha says she went out of her way to make sure her life is none of Michael’s business. Carly says she did it to protect Wiley from Nelle. If Michael knew what she did, the sacrifices she made, and that she was still hurting, he’d have something say. Sasha says, he won’t. Michael finally has Wiley, and Wiley has Michael, and they both have Willow. They’re a family now, and she can’t take that away from them. Even if she could, she wouldn’t, and neither should Carly. She walks out, leaving Carly with her mouth hanging open.

Michael tells Willow that he was in the middle of a brotherly lecture. Dante says he hopes Michael sees the benefit in his wisdom, and takes his advice. Willow says, if it came from Dante, it must be worthwhile, and Dante tells Michael, his wife is a wise woman. Willow says her class is about to start. She took a Ride Share there, and was hoping to go home with him. He says he’s still got to work out, so he can wait. She says she’ll see him later, and leaves. Dante says he rests his case.

Chase says, Brook is going to sing? He thought the doctors said she couldn’t. She says, they told her it was unlikely, not impossible. He says, so she’s going to get up there and see what happens? She says, it can’t hurt to try.

Franco stands at the bar, and Cyrus comes in. He tells Franco, this round is on him.

Elizabeth tells Epiphany that she’s sorry. What happened with Milo? Epiphany says, Milo has been away, traveling and opening gyms for the franchise across the country. They haven’t seen each other in months. Meanwhile, she’s become a paper pusher. Elizabeth says, Milo adores her. She can’t imagine they can’t make it work. Epiphany tells her, he said he’d come back, and Elizabeth says, great, but Epiphany says she told him no. It’s not the same anymore. As much as she hates to admit it, they’ve grown apart. Elizabeth asks how she can help, and Epiphany says, first, she doesn’t want a fuss made. Elizabeth says Epiphany can’t keep it inside; she has to let it out. Brook takes the stage, and Epiphany says, not another word about it. I note that Brook doesn’t have much of a scar. She tries to sing, but struggles. She says, wrong key, puts the mic down, and runs out. Chase goes after her. This is driving me nuts, since I’ve sung most of my life, and Brook is supposed to be a professional. I doubt she would have just gotten up there without even attempting to practice first, or even warm up, and she sure gave up easy. Instead of saying, wrong key, she should have said, too soon. It’s not like everyone doesn’t know what happened. This is frustrating the hell out of me.

Ava asks what Nikolas is trying to pull, and he asks if she thinks he wants to sign the papers. Of course (🍷) he doesn’t. He had them drawn up to force her hand; get her to move forward with the marriage or end it. She says, it’s an elaborate ultimatum, and he says, it’s a gamble that their night in the cabin wasn’t a one-off. Tell him she feels the same way. He thought instead of signing the papers, they’d burn them together. Ava says, there are certain considerations. There are people who will be affected if they end the marriage. He says he took a leap and owned up to his feelings. Do the same, or he’ll have to admit he’s a jackass. She says, of course (🍷) she has feelings, but it complicates things. He says it’s simple, they’ll stay married, but she says certain people may be made to pay if they remain married. Let her think things through; she needs a minute. She walks away, her back to him, and he says, once and for all, decide now. She doesn’t realize how close he is to her, and when she turns around, she stabs him accidentally, her knife going into his abdomen. I gasp out loud. I was not expecting that.

Sasha comes back out, and Nina asks if she found everything okay. The guest room is down the hall. Sasha says she’s not staying, but Nina says she should. They can have breakfast tomorrow. Sasha says it’s kind of Nina to bring her there, despite everything. She just needed a moment to catch her breath. Don’t give her another thought. She jets, and Carly comes out. In the hallway, Sasha makes a call. She says she needs a refill. She’ll be there in 15.

Michael does crunches in the ring, and Willow walks back in. He asks if her class was canceled, but she says she blew it off. Curiosity got the best of her. She wanted to hear Dante’s advice in person. Michael says, Dante left, but she says he can tell her. He says, Dante thinks they should stay together. Those weren’t his exact words, but it was the overall idea. She says the closer they get to the annulment, the more fans they have. He says he was thinking the same thing. He says he’ll get cleaned up, and she says, her too – even though she didn’t have a class. She says she’ll meet him back there, and gives a lingering look to his back before she walks out.

Chase finds Brook outside and asks her to come back. They can sing a duet. She’ll sound like an angel in comparison. Highly doubtful, since I still remember him singing Feel It Still for the Nurses Ball, and he rocked. He says maybe she jumped in too soon. Now that she has that out of the way, he knows she has another performance in her. She says, that wasn’t a performance; it was her swan song. It sounded like nails on a chalkboard.

Franco brings Cyrus over to the table, and says, look who made it. Epiphany tells Elizabeth, she’s back in hell again, and Cyrus asks if anyone has seen the songbook. Elizabeth hands it to him, and Franco jokes that he’s probably a fan of Miley Cyrus. What does he want? Gilbert and Sullivan? Sammy Hagar? Cyrus says, the 70s, and Franco tells him, pull up a chair. Epiphany says, not today, Satan, and gets up to sing. Franco says, she’s having a bad day. Epiphany sings. I give up trying to find out the titles, but it’s something about waiting, and debating if her love will come back to her.

As Epiphany sings, we see Michael in the shower, pondering. He turns around, and Willow is there in a towel. She lets the towel fall, and I’m not sure I’m on board with this. He drops his towel, and they move closer. Okay, now I’m guessing this isn’t real because they keep switching to them being alone.

Ava takes out the knife, and tells Nikolas, he’s bleeding. He says, yeah; he’s been stabbed. She drops the knife, and takes off his shirt. Is this some kind of weird foreplay? They kiss…

Afterwards (we assume), Nikolas says, well…? and Ava says they’re going to have to do something about these, and picks up the divorce papers. He says, it doesn’t matter; they’re not real. He wasn’t going to risk anything. She’s too proud to admit she’s crazy about him. Now he’s sure. She calls him an arrogant SOB, and he asks, is it arrogant if he’s right? She takes the papers, and opens the door. He asks where she’s going, and she says, to find the cyanide. She leaves, and he smiles. He says, she likes me. She really likes me.

Chase tells Brook, it’s going to be okay. She says, it will be something, but it will never be okay. If she can’t do the one thing that gives her purpose, what purpose does she have?

Everyone applauds for Epiphany. Cyrus says he can’t imagine how anyone can follow her, and Franco says, if anyone could, it’s the Chairman with Sinatra. Cyrus says he could be persuaded. His phone dings, and he says, however, he’ll have to take a raincheck. Epiphany says, convenient, and he promises to revisit. I’m very disappointed.

Carly says she tried talking to Sasha, but Sasha wouldn’t hear her. Nina says, maybe Sasha heard, but didn’t agree. Carly says, Sasha needs help, but Nina says she can’t keep Sasha against her will. She did the best she could, at least for tonight. Carly says she can do better, like it’s a competition, and leaves.

Willow meets Michael, and they leave the gym together.

In an alleyway on the phone, Sasha asks, where the hell are you? Don’t leave me hanging. The dealer hangs up, and she throws her phone, saying, dammit. Cyrus comes along, and says, there are cheaper ways to channel her frustration. What’s the trouble, and how can he help?

Elizabeth says she’ll be right back, and Franco tells Epiphany that she sounded great. Epiphany thanks him, and says she’s decided he can have the chocolate bar. He says, good, because he already ate it. He’ll get her next time. She says he can get another round, and she’ll call it even. He gets up, and she says she hopes he knows how good he has it with Elizabeth. He says, doorknob. She tells him, say that again? and he keels over.

Tomorrow, it’s Halloween in Port Charles, Valentin thinks Peter has a Spinelli problem, Ava hopes Nikolas can forgive her, Nikolas says he’ll save Julian’s sorry ass, Cyrus tells Sasha that they can have a mutually beneficial friendship, and Carly tells Sonny that she thinks Sasha is a drugs.

Shannon talked to John about her concern that Emily was dismissive with her. John told her she didn’t have to be best friends with Emily; just be okay. Elizabeth and Kelly met Gina at Farmhouse for dinner. Elizabeth said there was a gag order over her divorce details, but she was going to have a great party afterward, where she’d spill everything. Gina didn’t understand how Elizabeth was not having sex with Jimmy, and in her interview, Kelly thought that he had to be getting something done. Elizabeth said she liked Shannon, and Gina said Shannon had kicked her under the bus, saying her house was sad and depressing. In her interview, Gina said don’t bring her 9 lemons in an f-ing bowl, then say sh*t about her. She felt Shannon wasn’t authentic. Kelly said Emily had tried with Shannon too, but it wasn’t easy. They talked about how much better 2020 was going to be than 2019, and I laaaaughed.

Braunwyn said she was a basket case, either being so happy or so miserable that she wanted to jump out of her skin. In her interview, she said the only thing that might be bigger than her problem with alcohol was her love for her kids. She told Sean that she hadn’t been as present as she should have been, and realized she wasn’t a good mom. She didn’t know how she let it get so bad so fast. It was the one thing she wanted to be good at, and she wasn’t. He told her it was going to be okay. Lots of okay stuff today, both on GH and this.

Kelly took possession of her new house, which looked huge, especially with nothing in it. She told us it was 4500 square feet, with a pool and spa, but it’s suburbia. She met with her interior designer, and in her interview, she said the moms there were buttoned up, prim and proper, and cooking with aprons on. It was a Beaver Cleaver neighborhood. She said Shannon was a Stepford Wife, and she was scared she was going to turn into that. Rick had lived in NYC forever, and was ready to settle down, but she was mostly doing it for Jolie, who wanted to be in a family community. She wanted Jolie to have the best childhood possible, and see what a good relationship was like. She said it goes by fast. Truth!

Braunwyn picked up Shannon to go see Dr. Moon, and told Shannon about going to her first AA meeting. Braunwyn admitted that she’d told Emily about Shannon saying Gina’s house was sad. In Shannon’s interview, she insisted she hadn’t said that, and told Braunwyn that she had to set the record straight. Shannon said her fear was that Dr. Moon was getting older. She wondered what she was going to do when he retired. Braunwyn told Dr. Moon that her life had become unmanageable (part of the first step in the twelve), and she’d been drinking and hiding it. His solution was to stick a needle in the middle of her ear, which he said was for addiction. In her interview, Braunwyn said she was more grateful for Shannon’s support. Shannon made the usual loud noises when Dr. Moon needled her in the back of the neck for a sacroiliac problem. (I’ll have you know, I spelled that right on the first try.) In her interview, Shannon said she was trying to help Braunwyn, who was making her look bad and putting words in her mouth. It was the ultimate betrayal. I dunno about that. I could probably think of worse things.

Emily said she’d never had relationship or friendship with Shannon, and was going to her housewarming party. On a side note, we found out Shannon’s kids aren’t allowed to swear until they’re 18. Shannon gave her house a once-over, which I totally understood. I should have done that when I discovered a pair of underwear thrown on a chair after a party, and I don’t mean by a guest who had too good of a time. They were my underwear. I was mortified. In her interview, Braunwyn said she hadn’t figured out how to navigate her bedroom yet, but she was going to a party. She wanted a drink badly, but couldn’t say anything, or she’d be that weird alcoholic girl. I dunno about that either, but her friends would definitely not want to drink in front of her. At least if they’re decent people. Oh yeah. I forgot, we’re talking Housewives here. Someone would probably yell at her, and then put her under a microscope, while they guzzled pinot in front of her the whole time.

When Gina saw Shannon’s house, she said she could see why Shannon would say hers was sad. Her home could fit inside Shannon’s home. It was like a Polly Pocket home. Gina jumped on Shannon the second she got there, but Shannon insisted Braunwyn was the only one talking smack about Gina’s house. Moving whichever way the wind is blowing, Gina said she didn’t trust Braunwyn. In Shannon’s interview, she said she was grateful Gina believed her, but she was angry that Braunwyn put words in her mouth. Yeah, yeah, the ultimate betrayal. Shannon told Gina that she was a renter, but Gina was an owner, and there was nothing sad about Gina’s life right now.

In her interview, Emily said part of her would like to imagine Shannon wanted her at the party, but she knows Shannon doesn’t. Shannon’s dad Gene arrived with his young girlfriend, and when Kelly was introduced, she called him big d*ck daddy from Cincinnati. In Shannon’s interview, she said she’d never call someone’s father that, but I say, it depends on the father. FYI, not this guy. Shannon didn’t waste time taking Braunwyn aside, and told Braunwyn that she was hearing wrong. She hadn’t called Gina’s place sad. That wasn’t even in her vocabulary. Braunwyn stuck by her memory, saying she’d been totally sober, while Shannon had a couple of drinks, but Shannon insisted she was wrong. Braunwyn said either Shannon was lying or she didn’t remember, and Shannon said Braunwyn crossed the line. Shannon ended the conversation by saying how dare Braunwyn do this at her party, and I had to laugh when Braunwyn said she wasn’t the one who brought it up. Another truth! Shannon made a beeline for Emily, telling her that she never said Gina’s house was sad. In Braunwyn’s interview, she said every time she’s tried to be nice to Gina, it’s gotten thrown back in her face. We flashed back to all the times Gina has shut Braunwyn down, and it looks to me that Gina just plain doesn’t like Braunwyn. And I don’t think anything is going to change her mind. Braunwyn told Sean she didn’t know where to go from here.

Shannon made it sound like Braunwyn had accused her of being drunk, and in her interview, said Braunwyn was now using her sobriety as a weapon. Like always, they played telephone, and by the time Gina repeated what Shannon had said, Braunwyn claimed Shannon was so wasted. Gina brought up the text from Sean, and Emily thought it wasn’t unreasonable that she found it creepy, in context of his and Braunwyn’s lifestyle. A love shack! A sex apartment! Threesomes! In Elizabeth’s interview, she said she’d never seen women act like this, and Braunwyn was just as big of a nut. Shannon, who’d told Braunwyn earlier that she’d never do two against one, attacked Sean and Braunwyn with Emily, Gina, and Kelly in attendance. Emily thought Braunwyn was pretentious, and Shannon told Sean, maybe they should start being authentic. Gina said Braunwyn looks down on her because she doesn’t have as much money as they do. We flashed back to some instances where Braunwyn said something Gina didn’t like, and I see it as Gina being the one who feels defensive about not having money. Gina got in Braunwyn’s face, screeching that Braunwyn was a sloppy chihuahua, and wasted all the time. She told Braunwyn to go get wasted again, which is really nice, and Braunwyn said she was 30 days sober today, bitch. Braunwyn ran off, telling Gina, f*** you!

👀 Elizabeth and Gina were guests tonight on Watch What Happens Live. I really like Elizabeth. She kind of reminds me of Garcelle on RHOBH. She stays above the fray, and laughs a lot. She said she was surprised she’d been chosen to become a Real Housewife, especially with the pandemic going on. Her divorce had been finalized, and we found out she and Jimmy finally had sex. Or as she put it, she’d been officially rechristened. I tried to ignore Gina, since she’s on a par with Teddi for me. She’s a follower, and an a-hole. Both the guests and audience were remote, and it was actually kind of fun. The Countess made a guest appearance, and sang Viva la Diva, while the audience danced in their Zoom boxes. Under normal circumstances, you rarely see the audience, so it had a different vibe. The sound people also made LuAnn sound a lot better than she really does, unless she’s been taking lessons. I want those people for karaoke. If I ever see karaoke again. I miss singing… and bourbon… sniff…

💍 Can’t Get Enough…

I just love the whole 90 Day Fiancé franchise. You’d think I’d write about it, but it deserves my undivided attention. It’s little gems like this that make it worthwhile. Long story short, Big Ed kinda looks like a troll. Don’t get me wrong, looks don’t matter. If you can make a woman laugh, you’re probably more than halfway there. Or if you have a sparkling personality. Or you’re rich. Big Ed is none of those things, and pretty much overall annoying, obnoxious, and fearful of anything outside his own world. His potential fiancé Rose was half his age and from the Philippines. She seemed like a lovely girl, but Ed alternated between treating her like he was predator grooming her, with exhibiting behavior that embarrassed her. The cherry on Rose’s cake was when she said she wanted to have two more children – which he knew before he ever made the trip to meet her – and he told her that he already had an appointment for a vasectomy because he didn’t want any more children – which he’d never even hinted at. General Hospital

Yep, it’s been that kind of week. I missed the very beginning, but nothing you can’t figure out.

Maxie tells James they need to have a talk about Peter. He’s moving in. She wants to tell James a secret. She loves Peter with all her heart.

Ned sees Franco on the terrace, and asks if he’s starting the treehouse. Franco says, there’s not a lot of time left. This morning might be all he has.

On the phone, Brook leaves a message, asking someone to call back already. She tells them not to get offended. Monica comes in, and asks if there’s something Brook wants to say. Brook says, yeah. She’s thought about it, and she didn’t steal the dinner, but who else would be motivated to do it? The kids are too young; her dad didn’t do it; Lulu was too busy fighting with her; and Olivia wouldn’t have done it. The only person unaccounted for is Monica, and Brook wants to know why.

At the hospital, Carly thanks someone for coming. Her brother’s doctor is great, but her mom doesn’t trust anyone like she does him, and it means a lot. We see she’s talking to Griff.

At home, Willow tells Chase that she forgot the dry cleaning, and forgot to tell him the wine guy called. He says the dry cleaning is in the closet, and he spoke to the wine guy. She says, then what? He says he could tell something was weighing on her. If it’s over, great. He’s not trying to get in her business, but if there’s a problem, he needs to know. She says, it is over, but she doesn’t know if it would have been a problem. It’s something they need to figure out.

Elizabeth tells Finn, whatever trouble Hayden is in, it was bad enough to leave Violet. Finn says there was a time when Hayden swore Elizabeth to secrecy. He gets that they’re sisters, but this isn’t about him; it’s about Violet. She says, if she’d heard anything, she would tell him. If Hayden reaches out to her, he’ll be the first to know. He thanks her, and she asks if he’s okay. He says he doesn’t want to mess this up. She says she knows Hayden loves Violet, and loves being a mom. The only way she would have left Violet is if she had absolute faith in him as a dad. He’s got this.

Sonny tells Jason that he knows Jason wants Sam home. Jason says the kids miss her. Danny is being brave for his sister, but it’s not fair to either one of them. Sonny gets it, but tells Jason that he has to wait. This has to be done clean. Jason says he’s doing everything he can to keep himself in check. He made a crucial mistake with Shiloh; more than once. He hoped Sam’s plan would work, and things would land the right way, but he can’t do that anymore. He has to take action. Sonny tells him, be careful.

There’s a knock at Maxie’s door, and she suggests she and James see who it is. It’s Peter, and Maxie tells him now that he lives there, he doesn’t have to knock. He tells her, old habits die hard, taking James from her and cuddling him.

Sonny says he didn’t know Carly called Griff, and she says, it was a last minute decision. Sonny tells Griff it’s good to see him, and asks how life is going. Griff says, it’s going. He’s with a group that travels to rural communities that are lacking medical care. He’s doing something he’s passionate about, and it’s helping him find his way. Sonny appreciates him coming when Carly called, and he says, Lucas was more than a colleague; he was a friend. Sonny says it’s good to have someone they trust. Griff says he’d like see the scans they’ve taken of Lucas.

Ned tells Franco that he’s kind to do this. Franco says, Oscar wanted it, and asked him and Jason to finish it. It’s one of the last things he can do as Drew for Drew.

Monica tells Brook that she wanted Drew to experience his one and only Quartermaine Thanksgiving, and see what his family would have been like if things were different. Brook knows well that they never serve turkey or get along. She had to insure that there was pizza and conflict. Brook says, so Monica stole the dinner and framed her, as a gift to someone who probably won’t remember it in a couple hours? Monica says she did. Olivia comes in, and says she owes Brook an apology. She ran into Epiphany who thanked her for the delicious turkey dinner the staff got on Thanksgiving. It occurred to her it probably wasn’t Brook who donated the food to the hospital. Monica says she can explain, but Brook says, Olivia’s apology is cool and all, but she did it.

Brook says she’s been gone a long time; she missed the family. Olivia says, so she swiped everything from Thanksgiving dinner. Brook says, it’s a Quartermaine tradition to have pizza. The turkey had to go, and she thought the staff at the hospital could use some real food. It felt like a way to kill two birds with one stone, literally. Olivia says, and it caused a family fight, and Brook says, also a Quartermaine tradition. She admits she did it, and she won’t apologize. She has no regrets. Olivia appreciates the sentiment, but thinks there was a better way to handle it. She could have asked Olivia to donate some food, instead of blindsiding her. Brook says, then they wouldn’t have had the huge epic family free-for-all. Olivia enjoyed it as much as she did. Olivia says Brook hasn’t seen the half of it. She leaves, and Monica tells Brook, very noble. What’s it going to cost her?

Ned’s phone rings. It’s Lois, and he says he has to take it. Franco picks up some boards, and says, see you later. Ned thanks Lois for calling back. He was hoping she could tell him what’s going on with their daughter.

At the MetroCourt, Robert tells Anna, something is off about Peter. Anna says, aside from Peter being Faison’s son? and Robert says if she wants to deny what’s in front of her face about Finn, that’s up to her, but if she denies what’s in her heart, it might come back to bite her.

Peter goes to the hospital, and finds Elizabeth. He says he wanted to check in with her. He knows Franco’s procedure is today. Elizabeth asks if he’s looking for a story, but he says, no. He and Maxie saw Andre, and he told them about it. Andre didn’t give details, but said one personality will cease to exist, so he felt compelled apologize for his part in starting the whole thing. She says Drew had no memory of the original procedure; what part could he have possibly played in it? None of it is his fault. He says he was there when Andre created the memory map of Drew. If he’d made different choices, Elizabeth wouldn’t be in the position she is. She says she’s been thinking about that, and she has no one else she can say this to…

Willow tells Chase, first, everything is fine, and there’s nothing to worry about, but for a few days, she thought she might be pregnant. He says, oh wow, and she says, oh wow good or oh wow bad? He says, oh wow, why wouldn’t she tell him?

Sonny is surprised Carly reached out to Griff. She says if Griff hadn’t been available, she would have been begging Patrick. Lucas’s doctor is great, but they don’t know him. They have no history with him, and they don’t know if he’ll be honest with them, and she needs that. Sonny says, until you know the truth of what you’re facing, it’s impossible to know the next step you need to take. Griff comes out, and says he saw Lucas, and went over all the tests. Carly says, it’s bad, isn’t it? and Griff says her brother’s condition is extremely serious.

Griff says the accident severely injured Lucas’s brain function. He’s responding to pain stimuli, and Griff likes that there’s activity, but the damage is severe. They’re really at the wait and see stage. He says, if it’s any reassurance, he went through every step, and there’s nothing he would change. Lucas has the best possible care. Carly says, it is reassuring. She’ll give her mom the update. She leaves, and Sonny says he appreciates Griff coming back. Griff says he thinks about Sonny all the time, and Sonny’s father. He asks how Mike is, and Sonny says he’s doing all right, but recently he slipped again. Griff is sorry to hear that, and Sonny says he knows Griff has a lot on his plate, but is there any way he can look at Mike’s labs? Sonny would feel more comfortable to hear what’s going on from Griff. Geez, never mind the mule, just load the wagon.

Anna tells Robert, they had this conversation before she left. She’ll always love him; they share a bond that can’t be broken, but don’t run her life. He says that’s not what he’s doing, and she says, it’s exactly what he’s doing. If he doesn’t like Peter’s father, he can’t be objective. Robert says, it’s more than Faison, and she says, if you dig deep enough, you can find the flaws in anyone. He needs to look at the positive. Peter is building a wonderful life, and Maxie loves him. He says, Maxie’s taste in men is suspect. Remember Spinelli? Anna says they’ll have to agree to disagree. For the sake of all the things they share, don’t push her on this. He says he won’t have to. She’s too smart not see the truth, especially when it’s staring her in the face. Violet runs up to them, and Finn and Anna smile at each other.

Lulu says she’s brought a housewarming present, since Peter is moving in. Maxie says Peter isn’t there, so they’ll open it when he gets back. She almost sets it down, then says she promises to rewrap it. She tells Lulu that both she and Peter put James down for a nap together. It was sweet. Peter read James a story, and it was so domestic. Then Chase walked in with his boxers on fire, and they put it out with a juice box. Lulu says, that’s nice, and Maxie asks, what’s up? Lulu says, Brook Lynn Ashton is back in town.

Brook says it’s not going to cost Monica anything. She’s happy to be home. Monica asks if anyone has told Brook how much she reminds them of her grandmother. Tracy was never nicer than when she was trying to cover up a disaster of her own making. She can’t wait to find out what Brook is up to. Brook asks if Monica doesn’t trust her, and Monica says, she’s a Quartermaine through and through. Of course, she doesn’t trust her.

Willow says she and Chase haven’t talked about having kids, and they’re using birth control, which must be working. She was late, so she took a pregnancy test. It was negative, so it turned into a non-situation. She realizes they’re in a relationship… Chase says, a serious relationship. Willow says, maybe it’s time to figure out how they feel about kids. He says, okay, and asks if she wants him to go first. She does, and he says what he can tell her is, when she said she thought she was pregnant, and found out she wasn’t, he felt two things at the same time – relief and disappointment.

Ned finds Jason inside, and asks if he’s looking for Monica. Jason says he’s looking for Ned. He needs a favor. He shows Jason a paper, and asks if he recognizes any of the names. Ned says he recognizes all three, but he’s had the most contact with Chip Jones; he’s an associate. Jason says he was hoping Ned could help him out with them. Ned assumes they’re a parole board, and Jason says, Sam’s hearing is tomorrow. Does Ned think they’ll be fair? Ned knows Jason doesn’t have faith in the justice system, but for what it’s worth, they’re decent, discerning guys. If Sam deals fairly with them, they’ll deal fairly with her. But having said that, he makes no guarantees. Jason appreciates the information. Ned says, if Jason isn’t busy, Franco is out back, finishing the treehouse. Maybe he could help.

Violet says she’s there for a treat, Robert suggests they go to the bar, and see what trouble they can get into. Violet asks if she can go, and Finn says he guesses they can trust this guy. He tells her, have fun, but not too much fun. He sits with Anna, and she says Robert is being a huge pain about Peter, when Peter is just trying to live his life. It’s so frustrating, and the worst part is, she lets it get to her. He’s been like this since the beginning of time. Why is it so difficult? She asks if Finn is listening, and he says, sorry; what? She asks if he’s all right, and he says he’s just looking at Violet having the time of her life.

Chase says he’s seen Willow with Wiley and the kids in her class, and knows she’d make an amazing mother. He can’t imagine anything more incredible than being parents together someday. But they’re not in the place – at least he’s not – where he’s ready to start a family. In some ways though, they’d be lucky if it just happened, and the decision was taken out of their hands. All they could do is love the kid. She smiles, and says she was thinking the same thing. They hug.

Lulu says Maxie can’t imagine how bitchy Brook was. Brook tried to seduce her husband, then called her out for not being supportive of Dante, and moving on with Dustin. Lulu told Brook, Dante abandoned her, and guess who walked in? Maxie says, not Olivia? and Lulu says the last thing she wanted was open warfare with Rocco’s grandmother, but that’s what Brook is going to cause.

Carly tells Sonny, when the best neurosurgeon says everything is being done right, that’s something. Sonny says he asked if Griff would look at his dad’s labs. Does she think that’s bad? She says she thinks it’s great.

Chase says, Willow’s turn, and Willow says, when she realized she was late, she thought about being pregnant. She felt mostly like him, that it’s not exactly the right time. In this period of their lives, they’re young, in love, and free, but at the same time, if it happens, it happens. If it’s not a decision they made, then it’s a happy accident. They would love the baby. She’s both sad and relieved, but what it made her realize is how much she really does want to be a mom, and she might be more ready than she thought she was.

Jason finds Franco on the terrace, and says he was just talking to Ned. Franco says, Oscar didn’t like leaving anything unfished, and Jason says he can finish it. Franco has his word. Franco says, if everything goes according to plan, he wants to thank Jason for saying it should be up to him. Jason says what he’s doing is a big deal. Franco means a lot to Elizabeth and the boys. Franco says he thought Jason couldn’t stand Franco, and Jason says, but Jake is different. He loves his son, and if Franco important to him, that’s just how it is. They wish each other good luck.

Lulu tells Maxie, the next time Brook launches a verbal grenade, she’s going to brush it off. Maxie suggests Lulu find out why Brook is throwing it; figure out what she’s covering up. Then she’ll have all the ammunition she needs. Maxie gets a call from her mom, and says, oh my God, is he okay? She asks if she can bring James over, and says she’ll drop him off on her way. Lulu says on her way where? and Maxie says, Lucas was in a car accident.

Elizabeth tells Peter that her head is all over the place. She’s scared, nervous, and hopeful. It’s what she wanted and pushed for; to get Franco back. Peter says Franco is her husband. She says, from the beginning, she knew there were one in four chances of the outcome she wants. Out of the other three, one is unthinkable, and the other two, he stays Drew. The odds aren’t good, and she’s preparing herself in case Franco doesn’t come back. She’ll need to find the courage to let him go.

On the phone again, Brook tells someone to stop calling. She’s sick of their harassment. Ned asks who’s harassing her, and she says, it’s nothing. He says, it didn’t sound like it; let him help. She tells him to leave her alone. Olivia comes in, and says, apparently, Lucas was in a serious car accident. Brook asks if he’s okay, but Olivia doesn’t know. He’s in a medically induced coma. (I might hazard a guess that that’s definitely not okay.) Brook jets, and Ned tells Olivia, Lucas and Brook were good friends in high school. He hopes Lucas is all right. Olivia agrees, and says it looked like she walked in on something kind of big. Ned says, not kind of; she did.

Griff tells Sonny, he went over Mike’s tests. It’s impossible to predict what will happen, but Mike is experiencing significant deterioration in his cognitive function. His condition is extremely complicated, but he doesn’t think Mike will recognize them or his current situation much longer. Carly says they’re approaching the end. Griff wishes that wasn’t the case, and Sonny says he’d give anything for more time. Whatever it costs, he’ll do it.

Griff says there’s a study on enzymes in Sweden. He can write a recommendation, but he’s not sure it will do Mike any good. His condition is too far along. Sonny asks, what’s money for? All the sacrifices he’s made, the long shots he’s been paid for. If he has the means, he’ll spend the money. Get Mike in, and Sonny will find out how to get him there.

Chase says, things just got real, and Willow asks if it scared him. He says, no. He’s happy they’re being honest. Willow says, if she’s honest with herself. She can’t say how much of her wants a baby, and how much is longing for Wiley. Knowing he’s in a happy home with two dads who love him; she did the right thing giving him up. Chase says it doesn’t mean she loves Wiley any less, and Willow says she doesn’t want to make the mistake of filling the void Wiley left. Any future child is theirs, and she wants to get it clear in her head before she thinks of getting pregnant. He takes her hands in his, and says he loves her. She’s beautiful and kind, courageous, and her nose crinkles in a cute way when she tastes something she doesn’t like. He knows what a great person she is, and what a great mom she’ll be. He’d like to have kids with her. Someday, when they’re more settled in their lives. He kisses her, and says, not to mention, the stage they’re in is not a bad place to be. They should enjoy it. They kiss.

Brook is already at the hospital when Maxie and Lulu arrive. She says now they show up. They wasted a trip, since it’s just immediate family. Lulu says Brook isn’t family; they’re his cousins. Brook says, like some people, she doesn’t jump ship when her loved ones are in trouble.

Olivia tells Ned, there’s no denying Brook is more like her mother now. He says that’s what he called Lois to find out. Olivia asks, what’s going on? and Ned says, it turns out, Brook is hiding something big.

Monica comes out on the terrace, where Jason is looking at the treehouse. She says, looks great, and Jason says he added the door; Franco did the rest. She wishes they could have spent more time together. When Drew finally grasped the fact that he was living at the expense of Franco and the people who love him, he knew he couldn’t do it. It just wasn’t in him. He reminds her of Jason. Jason says, he did the right thing, and she says she’s going to miss him. Jason says, he knows, and puts his arm around her.

Franco comes out of the elevator at the hospital. He looks at Elizabeth.

Anna says, for all Robert’s faults – and he has many – he’s wonderful with children. He thinks he is one. When Robin was a little girl, it was like magic; shocking given what a curmudgeon he is. Finn goes over to where Robert and Violet are at the bar, and asks, what’s that? Violet says, a milkshake, and Finn says, before lunch? Robert says, milk is great for the bones. Finn says Robert is good with her, and Robert says, having a daughter is the greatest experience in his life. Plus, he’s pretty good with the women.

Peter blows through the MetroCourt, phone to his ear. Anna sees him, but he doesn’t see her. He goes into an adjacent hallway, and says they know what needs to be done. Kill Andre, kill Franco, eliminate them both. As long as the procedure doesn’t happen. He turns around, and Anna is there.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Curtis shows up at the station in his tux. Jordan tells him how good he looks, and says it might be enough to salvage a thoroughly rotten day. Sometimes the wheels of justice take you places you don’t want go. Diane comes out and says, it’s blatant grandstanding. The evidence – and she uses the term loosely – is worthless. Jordan says she can make that argument in court. Diane says, Sam has been nothing but cooperative, and Jordan repays her by arresting her. Jordan says it was her only course of action, and Diane asks if it required Sam to be held without bail. Does she really want Sam languishing in a jail cell until the trial?

Jax and Josslyn visit Carly at the hospital. Josslyn asks Carly if Donna is really going to be okay. Carly says they’ll have things to look out for, but she’s pretty perfect. Josslyn says, she is. Jax joins them, and says as much as he enjoyed meeting Donna, he wanted to see how the baby momma is doing. She says, well. She feels great, and knowing Donna is going to be okay is the best medicine. Josslyn gives Carly an envelope, and says, it’s from Dev.

Dev is in the kitchen doing homework, when Sonny and Mike come in. Sonny says they were just visiting with Avery, and Mike says they took a bunch of pictures to show Yvonne. Dev is sure she’ll enjoy them. Avery is a beautiful little girl. He says it’s nice to see Mike again, calling him Mr. Corbin. Mike says, they’re cousins; call him Mike. Dev says, okay, Cousin Mike. Mike says Dev’s grandmother told him that she and Dev aren’t close. He wonders why is that? Dev looks at Sonny, and says, they just aren’t. Mike says Dev should give her a call some time. Sonny asks if Mike has been talking to Gladys, and Mike says, all the time.

Jordan says Robert deems Sam a flight risk, and she agrees. Diane tells Curtis, nice tux. As her client’s former business partner, does he really think Sam would skip town, abandoning her children, or take them with her, forfeiting her right to clear her name? He says he’s not taking sides, and she says, that alone speaks volumes. Jordan says, they have a witness. Diane says, who’s allegations are hearsay, and Jordan says, they have a recording. Diane says, obviously doctored. Jordan says the PCPD techs proved it to be authentic, but Diane says, imagine their embarrassment when her independent analysis debunks their finding. Jason comes out with Sam, and Diane says she sees the exorbitant and arbitrary bail has been posted. Jordan asks why Diane is harassing her, when bail has been posted. Diane says, exorbitant bail. which few people could afford. Fortunately, Jason is one of them, but that doesn’t change this grievous miscarriage of justice. Someone is obviously trying to frame Sam.

Maxie says Peter just called. He and Valentin are on their way to All Saints. That means they need to step it up. Obrecht says they’re ahead of schedule, and Maxie says, they can’t become complacent; that’s when disaster strikes. Obrecht says there will be no disaster as long as she’s involved. Nina thanks Sasha for wearing the pendant. Sasha thanks Nina for giving it to her. Obrecht says, it’s a lot of schmaltz over a pendant no one will notice, but Nina says, who cares? She and Sasha know it’s there. Obrecht says, apologies, niece. Nina says she got a special gift of her own last night. She shows them the necklace from Valentin, and everyone is like, wow. Maxie asks who gave it to her, and Nina says, Valentin surprised her with it last night. Maxie says it’s bringing a tsunami of bad luck with it.

At the church, Dustin tells Lulu that she looks amazing. She says, all things considered, she was surprised she could dress herself, and he asks if she’s decided if she’s telling Nina that Sasha isn’t her daughter. Lulu says, and Valentin is behind it all? She hasn’t decided. Valentin and Peter come up the walk.

Jason tells Sam, Spinelli agreed to look at the recording. She adds, that just happened to come from Daisy. He says she’s still loyal to Shiloh, and it gives her motive to lie. Sam says, what about Sheri? and he says, they can’t prove anything; it’s hearsay. Sam tells him what Diane said was right. Someone is trying to frame her, and whoever it is, might be manufacturing more evidence against her.

Diane tells Jordan, Sam killed Shiloh to prevent him from impaling Jason with a gaffing stick. Jordan says, there were only three people on the boat, and one is dead. The other two have criminal histories that seriously compromise their credibility as witnesses. Diane says, Shiloh was the leader of a sex cult, whose followers would blindly follow him off the ledge of Mount Rushmore. One of those followers delivered a damaging declaration. She asks Jordan to please tell her she sees through this. Jordan says she’s welcome to cross-examine, question, and debunk the evidence. Do her job, and Jordan will do hers. Let justice prevail. Diane says she has no doubt it will. She leaves, and Curtis tells Jordan that Sam wasn’t just his business partner, she’s his friend. Jordan asks if he’s telling her that he’s biased, but he says he was wondering if she thinks the killings were anything other than self-defense.

Carly says, Dev was so thoughtful. Josslyn asks what it says, and Carly tells her, congratulations and best wishes. Children make the family’s kettle whistle. She loves it. Jax says, Aussies have a saying for everything, but he’s never heard that one. Carly wonders where Dev is, and Josslyn says, he was concerned it was too private of a situation. He didn’t want to intrude. Carly tells Josslyn, let him know, wherever family is welcome, he’s welcome. Looking at his phone, Jax says, the saying about the teakettle? It’s Turkish.

Dev says he’ll study upstairs, and Mike says he hopes they’re not interrupting. Dev says, no. There’s a book he needs upstairs anyway. He tells Mike it was good to see him, calling him Cousin Mike, and Mike laughs. Dev goes upstairs, and Sonny asks Mike how he got so close to Gladys. Mike says, it’s just one of those things. They weren’t that close when they were younger, but since she made contact with him, they hit it off. He says, it’s the way this disease works. He can recall old times with his cousins or buddies, but can’t remember why Sonny picked him up today. Sonny says Avery was asking for him, and Mike says does his old heart some good. She’s the best. Sonny says, she’s not the only one who wants to see him. He wants to introduce Mike to their new family member. Carly had the baby. Mike says, she did? He didn’t know they were… never mind. He’s a grandfather again. Sonny says they had a little girl. He and Mike hug, and Mike says, that makes seven grandchildren for him. Sonny says he pulled that number out fast, and Mike says they covered it in their memory care sessions. He wants to see if he can do it, and says, there’s this new one, and there’s Michael, Kristina, Avery – he hesitates, and Sonny says, Dante – Dante, Spencer, and Morgan. Sonny says he wants to introduce Mike to Donna. Mike likes the name, and asks if Sonny remembers Donna Messina from the old neighborhood. Sonny says, that’s why they chose it. Because they wanted to honor her. He and Carly have another surprise for him.

Nina asks Maxie, what’s wrong? and Maxie says, not to throw water on her special day, but Nina isn’t planning on wearing the necklace, is she? Valentin invited in bad luck giving it to her the night before their wedding. She doesn’t want to compound it by wearing the necklace at the ceremony, does she? Nina says, all that matters is that it’s a symbol of his love for her. She’s starting a new chapter, with Valentin, and her beautiful daughter Sasha, and her equally delightful stepdaughter Charlotte. Obrecht asks what they are? Bratwurst? Nina says she loves them both. She tells them to guess what happened a year ago today. A year ago today, she finally got up the courage to pick up the phone and call Sasha to let Sasha know she was her mother. Obrecht takes a drink.

Valentin introduces himself to Dustin. Dustin congratulates him, and he says, today, he feels like the luckiest man on earth. Lulu says he won’t feel that way after he hears what she has to say.

Carly says, Dev drinks a lot of iced tea. Maybe he got it off of a bottle cap. Josslyn says, Dev knows all kinds of random stuff. Jax says, okay. He tells Carly that Donna looks like her. She’s beautiful, just the other women in Carly’s family. She says he’s smooth today, but he says he means it. He has to go. He’s going to Nina’s wedding. Carly wonders how he got roped into that. She tells him, have fun, and he says he’ll try. He just wanted to tell her how happy he is that Donna is fine, and he hopes she’s home soon. Carly says, amen to that. Jax asks if Josslyn wants a ride, and Josslyn says she’ll never get her homework done there. She’ll be back soon. She can’t wait for both Carly and Donna to be home. She loves Donna already. Carly says Josslyn is making her cry, and tells Jax, thanks for the visit.

Jordan tells Curtis, the big mystery isn’t whether Sam planned to kill Shiloh; it’s how many people she managed to beat to the punch. Kristina, Willow, the Cooper-Joneses. Michael and Chase are the two most upstanding citizens she knows, and they could have done it. Curtis says, Sam was clear about pulling the trigger, and clear about why. Jordan says her gut tells her to believe Sam, but the evidence has left her no choice. She had to charge Sam. Curtis tells her not to hate him for saying this, but he hopes she doesn’t win the case. She says she still has to work it, but he says, not today. They have a wedding to attend. He gives her a garment bag, and she says she can’t believe she walked out without her dress. He says lucky for her, she has a loving husband to rescue her. She says, very lucky, and they kiss.

Diane tells Jason and Sam, if this case goes to trial with this Swiss cheese evidence, she’ll make fondue. Jason hopes it doesn’t. Diane agrees it’s clearly a frame-up, and asks if Spinelli is on board to examine the recording. Jason says he’s prepping. Sam says they could be manufacturing more evidence, and Diane says, there’s nothing they can do about it, so put it out of her mind. She has Sam’s statement about being on board the Haunted Star, and it’s thorough, but is there anything she left out. Sam says, nothing she can… Jason says, what? and Sam says Shiloh did say something that made her think he had an accomplice.

Valentin tells Lulu, it’s his wedding day. Can whatever she has going on, wait? She’s afraid not, and he asks if it has anything to do with Charlotte. She says, no, and he says, obviously it can wait then. She says, it’s about… Dustin puts his arm around her, and she says, Valentin is right. It can wait. They don’t have to talk about it right now. Peter says Valentin has to check in with the minister. Valentin thanks Lulu for joining them, and says he hopes they can all be happy for Nina’s sake. He goes inside, and Dustin says, no judgement, but he’s curious. Why didn’t she confront Valentin about Sasha?

Lulu says she knows from panful experience, if she shows her hand, Valentin will outmaneuver her. Besides, he’s not the person she needs to talk to. Dustin says, Nina, and she says, exactly. She doesn’t know if Dustin is aware of this, but Valentin killed her brother. Dustin asks, who is this guy, and why isn’t he in prison? She says, it happened in Greece, and the Greek authorities believed Valentin when he said it was self-defense. Even worse, everything that belonged to her brother, now belongs to Valentin. She wants Valentin punished, but right now she’s trying to make sure she’s telling Nina for the right reasons. Dustin says he’s just getting to know her, but she doesn’t strike him as the vengeful type. Is he wrong?

Valentin thanks Peter for the save, and Peter says, what are best men for? He wonders what Lulu’s problem is, and Valentin says she still blames him for Nikolas’s death. He only invited her for Charlotte’s sake. He thinks she should be asked to leave, and Peter says it would tarnish his halo. In Nina’s eyes, he qualifies for sainthood for finding Sasha. Valentin says, that’s a stretch, but he’d do anything for Nina. Peter feels the same way about Maxie, and Valentin says they have to escape their respective pasts for the women they love. Peter asks if Valentin has forsaken the dark side of his heritage (sounding like a character from Flowers in the Attic), and Valentin says, has Peter?

Nina asks if Charlotte realizes that when she marries Charlotte’s papa, Sasha will be her be true sister. Charlotte says she’ll get the sister she’s always wanted. Did Sasha want a sister? Sasha says not until she met Charlotte. Obrecht passes out champagne, and says, sisters are a gift. On this happiest of occasions, she can’t help but remember Nina’s mother. She’s sure Madeline is craning upward to look past the smoldering brimstone, to disapprove of all their choices. Sasha is glad she never met Madeline, but Obrecht says Madeline made it possible for Sasha to be there. That woman; never a hair out of place. Curtis knocks on the door, and Maxie asks why he’s there. Nothing can go wrong today. He says he wanted to talk to Nina before she marries Valentin. Nina asks, what’s up? and he says she told him to always be honest with her, no matter how much the truth hurts. Charlotte says that’s what her mommy tells her too. Curtis says, it’s good advice; she should follow it. Nina says if he’s there to try and convince her to call it off, she doesn’t want to hear it.

Mike gives Carly a bouquet in a cup that says, World’s Best Mom. He says he got it in the gift shop, and tells her not to go down and see how much he paid. She says it’s priceless to her. Mike said he heard the baby is a little sick, and Carly says, a little, but she’ll be fine. It just takes time. Mike says that means he has seven grandchildren. This new one, Michael, Kristina, Avery, Dante – he looks at Sonny – and Spencer, and Morgan. Did he get them all? Carly says, he got them. Sonny says Mike is surrounded by family, and they all love him. Does he want to see Donna? Mike says, after he meets Donna, does he get his surprise? Carly says, yes.

Sam tells Diane that when she was trying to get Shiloh to let Dev and Wiley go, he said they were running out time. He said he was on the clock, and when he got what he wanted, he’d go. Diane says, he never told her who or what he wanted? Jason says, it’s got to be money, and Diane says, someone would have to deliver it. They need to know who. Sam says, maybe Dev heard something. He was on the Haunted Star before she was. Jason says he’ll check on that, and Diane says she’ll continue to work on things from her end. She tells Sam to enjoy her freedom; live her life. She’ll let them know when it’s time to regroup. Sam says she wants to see Carly and the baby. Jason says, baby Donna made it through surgery with flying colors. Diane had no idea there was a problem, and Jason tells her, the baby has spina bifida, but there’s been no nerve damage, and she can live a full, healthy life. Diane says, thank God. Give the proud parents her love, and tell them that she’ll drop by soon. And Sam… Sam knows. Don’t leave town. Diane tells her, don’t, but she was going to say, don’t worry.

Josslyn and Jax find Dev in the kitchen, where he seems to spend most of his time. Jax says he seems jumpy, and Dev says he didn’t know anyone was there. Josslyn says they just got back from visiting Carly. She loved Dev’s card. Dev asks how Carly is doing, and Josslyn says, all things considered, she couldn’t be better. Jax says the quote Dev put in the card was Turkish, and Dev says, was it? He found it online. Jax says, good choice. Dev says they just missed Mr. Corbin, and Jax says, isn’t Mike his cousin? That’s kind of formal. Dev says that’s what Mike said. He’s trying to call him Cousin Mike. It’s a lot to get used to. Josslyn tells him that Carly said it was fine if he visits. She’d love to see him. He says he’ll head over there now. Dev jets, and Jax says, Dev couldn’t get out fast enough. He wonders why.

Josslyn says she’s sure Dev was saving them from standing around, making polite conversation. Doesn’t Jax have a wedding to get ready for? Jax says he’s not going to be angry, but he knows Josslyn is covering something up about Dev. He hates to see her trying so hard to keep it from him. She says, he’s right. She’s sorry. She has been lying to him.

Mike and Sonny look at baby Donna, and Mike says, she’s little. Sonny says, she came early, but she’ll be well enough to take home soon. Mike says maybe he can introduce her to Yvonne. Jason joins them, and Sonny says he and Mike came to check out the baby. Jason says, she’s a beauty. Sonny tells Mike that he’ll be right back; he and Jason have to talk. Sonny asks, how’s Sam? and Jason says he persuaded Robert to let him post bail. He thinks Sam is a flight risk. Sonny says it doesn’t surprise him. He asks how the case against Sam looks, and Jason says, Diane doesn’t think it’s going to trial, but if it does, they need to be prepared. Sonny says he’ll do whatever he can, and Jason thanks him. Jason says he needs to talk to Dev about what happened on the Haunted Star, and Sonny says, if it helps Sam, be his guest.

Sam tells Carly that she’s sorry she couldn’t visit sooner. Carly says Jason told her what’s happening; it’s crazy. It’s obvious Sam killed Shiloh in self-defense. Sam says there’s evidence that says she planned to kill Shiloh. Carly says, who didn’t think about killing Shiloh? She was dropping hints to Sonny daily. Sam says, there’s a recording that says she was plotting revenge. Carly says she’s out on bail. She knows Sam and Jason will get to the bottom of this. Sam says, that’s the plan.

Dev comes out of the hospital elevator, and Jason says he was looking for Dev. Dev asks if he’s in trouble, but Jason says, no. He doesn’t know if Dev heard, but Sam was arrested for Shiloh’s murder. Dev asks, what kind of justice is that? That guy was out of control. Jason tells him to keep his voice down. He needs to know everything that happened on the boat with Shiloh.

Peter tells Valentin, he supposes there’s always a chance all their misdeeds could be exposed. Valentin says, no risk, no reward. Peter says, yes, but sometimes that risk can be overwhelming. Why do they live with it?

Lulu says Dustin is right. She’s not the vengeful type. He says, good to know. She says she used to be, and he says, also good to know. She says, if she tells the truth about Sasha, it won’t be out of revenge. It will be to save Nina from marrying a man who’s deceiving her; because it’s the right thing to do. How can she teach Charlotte to value honesty if she can’t be honest herself? He says it sounds like she knows what she’s going to do.

Maxie says she has to get to the church, and Charlotte asks if she can come too. She wants to see papa. Nina tells her, it’s okay, and Sasha says she’ll give Nina and Curtis privacy. Nina is sure Curtis won’t mind if she stays, and he says it’s about her too. Nina tells him, please don’t ruin her wedding by trash talking Valentin, but he says, let him finish. It’s no secret he’s not a fan of Valentin’s. He was skeptical about Sasha at first, but he liked her the moment they met, and two DNA tests proved she’s Nina’s long lost daughter. Obrecht says, thanks to Maxie, there were three tests, all yielding the same result. Curtis says, that means Valentin did right by Nina. And anyone who can make her happy, gets his stamp of approval. Nina throws her arms around him, and thanks him. He says, just in case, Aunt Stella gave him this when he was a kid. He gives her a blue handkerchief, and says, because everyone should cry at their wedding. Weeping, Nina says, really? She doesn’t think that’s a thing. He says, crying at your wedding, means there will be no tears throughout your marriage. He says she’s his best person, and she says he’s hers too. He tells her, never forget that, and tells Sasha, be good to her mom.

Jax says, Dev isn’t Sonny’s cousin, right? and Josslyn says, no. Jax asks who he is, and Josslyn says, it’s a long, complicated story. He says he’s all ears, but Josslyn says, first he needs to know that her mom and Sonny made sure she was okay with it. He says, sure, they asked, but was she going to say no? She says she could have. She can think for herself. He says he knows. He just wanted to make sure Sonny didn’t keep repeating the question until he got the answer he wanted.

Dev tells Jason that he was hiding on the Haunted Star when Shiloh showed up with Wiley. He told the baby it wouldn’t be long. He just need to grab some essentials for the trip. That’s when Dev called him, and got Sam. Then Shiloh hit him in the head. He didn’t lose consciousness completely, and heard Shiloh talking on the phone. He was asking for money. Does Jason know who it could have been?

Peter tells Valentin, it was easier to keep secrets when there was no one else he cared about. Valentin says, truer words, my friend. His advice is to forget about it today. Peter asks if that’s Valentin’s way of saying he’s making the wedding day about him. Valentin says he’s being practical. In the wee small hours of the morning, their secrets may find them. Not that he fears it. No, this is a good day.

Lulu tells Dustin, she hates that she knows this. Why does she have to be the one to break Nina’s heart? Curtis and Jordan arrive. Curtis shakes Dustin’s hand, and Lulu introduces him to Jordan. She tells Dustin that Jordan and Curtis were married a year ago. They had their reception on the Haunted Star (but we won’t mention that pesky murder). Curtis says, here’s to Nina’s wedding ending on a happier note. Charlotte runs up, and hugs Lulu. Maxie wants to grab Lulu for a word. Lulu says, thank God Maxie is there. Maxie says Lulu brought Dustin as her plus one. Lulu said she wasn’t going to do that, and they’re not a thing. Charlotte tells Lulu that Curtis visited Nina. He said Nina told him on his wedding day to always be honest, and never lie. Maxie says, there’s a recipe for disaster. Charlotte says, she told Curtis that’s what Lulu teaches her too. Lulu looks at Dustin.

Josslyn tells Jax, if she’d said no, her mom and Sonny would never have let Dev stay, and he’s glad to hear that. She says she kind of likes Dev. He drives her crazy, but it’s a nice distraction from thinking about Oscar every minute of every day. She hated lying to him. He takes her hand, and says he’s sorry Sonny put her in that position.

Mike tells Carly, the baby is beautiful, and Carly says, she is. He says she reminds him of someone; another little baby, but not Avery. He wishes he could remember. Sonny says, maybe Courtney? and Mike says, yes; his beautiful daughter. Sonny thinks now might be the right moment to give Mike his surprise. Carly says she and Sonny talked about it. Jason asks Dev, what happened when he left the pier? Dev says Jason told him to call 911, but he got worried about getting the cops involved. He saw Peter, and asked for a ride. Peter said yes quickly, and he was pretty cool. Jason asks if Dev remembers anything else. Dev says, Peter was carrying a gym bag, and he seemed pretty nervous.

Peter tells Valentin, it’s almost show time. Valentin says wish him luck, but Peter says it doesn’t sound like he needs it. Valentin says, it’s always good to have it. Charlotte runs to Valentin, and he tells her, tres belle. Charlotte says, Nina said the best thing. After Valentin marries her, Sasha will be her true sister. Valentin says, she will.

Maxie asks Lulu to tell her the florist is inside. Lulu says, they are, and Maxie says, everything is as it should be. She checks her list, the last item being, wedding planner’s BFF and hot date. They’ll be talking about how that happened later. Right now she needs to make sure everything is okay. Maxie runs inside, and Lulu tells Dustin that she has to catch Nina as soon as she gets there. He says he’ll wait with her, but she says she has to do this herself. He tells her that he’s just a text or a holler away, and she thanks him. She waits.

Obrecht, Sasha, and Nina approach. Obrecht says she remembers the last time she was there. Her sister lay dead in her coffin. May today be equally joyous. Sasha calls to Nina, and asks if she’s coming. Nina says she’s on her way. Lulu looks panicked.

On Monday, Charlotte asks what’s wrong, Lulu says she has to tell Nina something that can’t wait, Sam tells Jason that Peter was definitely working with Shiloh, and Josslyn tells Dev that her father knows about him.

General Hospital

Jason asks Barry (the warehouse foreman) if he’s sure he didn’t misplace the money. Barry says, no, but the kid was listening while they were talking. Jason calls Dev over, and says he needs to ask Dev a couple of questions about the bank deposit.

At the MetroCourt, Ava finishes a martini. Sonny walks in, and tells her, tomorrow is her day with Avery. He hopes she’s not hung over.

Cameron sits in his car, while the engine runs. Trina comes by, and tells him, idling is bad for the environment. Cameron asks what she’s doing there, and she says she was going to ask him the same thing. The last time she checked, he wasn’t allowed to drive. He says he’s not driving.

Elizabeth tells Scotty that she’s looked through tons of medical journals, and even called Patrick for insight. Scotty says, and they don’t know any more than they knew yesterday. Franco’s condition is still irreversible. Elizabeth doesn’t understand how it was done in the first place. Drew joins them, and says, at least they know why now. The worst motivator – money.

Kim asks Franco what he wants to talk about, and he says, Oscar. In ten years, from the moment he was deployed until his life was stolen, she never thought to mention they had a son?

Lulu visits Maxie at Crimson, and Maxie says she’s been calling. Lulu says, sorry, and Maxie asks how it went. Lulu says, Olivia is in major denial, and thinks they can get through to Dante. Maxie says, if only that were possible. Lulu says, Sonny was great. He was supportive and sympathetic. Maxie asks if it’s official, and Lulu says she and Dante are divorced.

Shiloh sits across from Peter, and says welcome to his humble abode. Peter says he doesn’t know why he’s there. Shiloh does. He’s curious. Shiloh knows what he’d like forget. He knows more than Peter thinks.

Ava says, a lecture from the great Sonny Corinthos. It’s been so long. He says she slept with a serial killer who killed her daughter. Her life is falling apart. It’s not Avery’s fault, and he doesn’t want to take Ava back to court, but he will if she keeps slipping. She asks how she’s slipping, and he says she delivered a message from Kiki to Avery. Ava says, good God, he would. He’d take a daughter away from her mother. He says he’d be doing Avery a favor. After the magazine article about Ryan, he guarantees a judge would agree with him. He walks off, and Ava orders another martini. Chelsea arrives, and says Ava wanted to see her? Ava says, it happened. Last night, Kiki came to her.

Maxie asks how Lulu is feeling, and Lulu says, same old. It hit her this morning. She’s no longer Mrs. Dante Falconari. Maxie asks if she’s still Lulu Falconari, but Lulu doesn’t know. She hasn’t had time to think about changing her name back. She guesses she should, but Rocco might feel better if they have the same name. Maxie says Lulu has plenty of time. She shouldn’t have even asked. Lulu says, it’s a legitimate question. It feels weird, holding on to Dante’s last name when they couldn’t hold on to anything else.

Shiloh tells Peter that he’ll give him the Cliff Notes. In 2012, Shiloh was working as a contractor in Afghanistan. He and his buddy Tex were involved in illegal business deals. Drew found out, and was going to turn them in, but before that happened, Shiloh was contacted by Helena. She wanted a pair of twins delivered. Shiloh set Drew up, and knocked him out. Helena came to claim her prize, they made an exchange, and he walked away. Peter was hoping for something more dramatic, but Shiloh says he hasn’t gotten to the best part. He said he walked away, but he never said he left.

Kim says she had a relationship with Drew that she and Franco never did. Franco says he knows for certain this might not be his body, but these are his memories. He remembers her, the time they spent together in San Diego, and what it feels like to be in love with her. They had a kid who’s gone that he never got to know, and it breaks his heart.

Drew tells Elizabeth and Scotty that Shiloh was selling fuel on the black market, along with another SEAL, Tex. It was a huge sum, and Franco told him where they hid it. That’s why he was turning them in. Elizabeth says, but he never got the chance. Drew says that’s why Shiloh was dead set on finding it. Scotty says, all for some spending money. Shiloh is in lockup. Where is he going to be spending money? Drew asks Scotty for some privacy, but Scotty says, if it’s about his son, he needs to know. Drew promises it’s not about Franco. Scotty asks Drew to keep him in the loop, and leaves. Elizabeth asks where the money was hidden, and Drew says, in Tex’s wife’s car. She says, and Franco remembered? What now? Drew says, it’s a Subaru Outback. She says, like the car Oscar left Cameron. Drew says he thinks it’s the same one.

Trina asks what Cameron is doing, and he says, selling the car. There’s a buyer on his way to meet him. Trina says leaving Cameron the car was one of Oscar’s final wishes, and he’s just going to unload it? Cameron says, it’s been bad luck. If he hadn’t had the car, he wouldn’t have been kidnapped, Franco would still be himself, and his mom wouldn’t be miserable. Even before Oscar gave him the car, it was nothing but trouble. They got stuck in Niagara Falls, Oscar got insanely sick, and a serial killer showed up. It’s a curse, and the best thing to do is get rid of it.

Dev says he doesn’t know what Jason is talking about. Jason tells him, don’t start off by lying. Dev heard them talking about the deposit. Dev says he heard the conversation, but he never touched the money. Barry says, sure he did, and Dev says Barry is trying to get him fired. Barry says he tried, but this punk has got to go. He has nothing but respect for Sonny and Jason, but he runs a tight ship. There have been problems since Dev got there. He’s spilled more than one bag. He knows Dev is family, but he’s lazy, disorganized, and hasn’t done jack. He’s stealing, and it makes Barry look bad. Jason asks Dev if he’s been slacking, but Dev says, no. Jason asks if he’s dropped bags, and Dev says, a couple. He’s not good at loading, but it doesn’t make him a thief. Okay, he is a thief, but he didn’t steal the money. Sonny walks in, and says, what money?

Chelsea tells Ava that Kiki made it clear she wanted nothing to do with Ava. Ava guesses Kiki changed her mind. Chelsea asks how Kiki contacted Ava, and Ava says she thought she was sleeping, but when she opened her eyes, Kiki was there. She was standing at the foot of Ava’s bed, wearing the dress she had on when she died. Ava kept calling her name, but she didn’t answer. Kiki just stared at her. She couldn’t tell if it was with love or hared. Chelsea has to tell her; what does it mean?

Maxie says Lulu took her ring off. That’s kind of a big deal. Lulu says, it was the next logical step. She’s not married anymore. Maxie hates this for her, but having been there when Dante shot Peter, she thinks Dante is making the right decision in letting her go. It doesn’t make it any less painful, but the decision was made out of love, and what’s best for them. The only way to really honor that, is to move on. Lulu says she thinks it’s right. Conceptually, she gets that she should move forward with her life, but she doesn’t know how. Maxie says, she has a fantastic idea. What about Lulu’s hunky ride share driver? Lulu says his name is Dustin, and he’s not hers. Maxie is being ridiculous. Maxie says, why not? and Lulu says, they’re not in high school. Maxie asks to see Lulu’s phone, and says, here he is. Why does Lulu have his contact info? Lulu says, in case she needs a ride. Maxie says, what kind of ride? and I nearly fall off my chair, laughing. Lulu says she just lost love of life. Maxie says, he’s super cute and really nice. Lulu says what will help he move on is to forget men, and focus on her career.

Elizabeth says, no way it’s the same car that belonged to Tex’s wife; it’s been seven years. It’s just a coincidence. Drew doesn’t think so. He’s having flashes, pieces old life. Elizabeth asks if they’re memories, but he says, not as filled out. It’s more like instinct. Elizabeth says, part of him senses the memory he lost? He says when he saw the car, he knew he had to buy it. Elizabeth says, maybe if Drew is having flashes, Franco is as well, and Drew says, God willing. Elizabeth asks if he think the money would still be there after all this time. He says, there’s only one way to find out.

Cameron tells Trina, if Oscar knew about what happened, he’d be fine with him selling the car. Trina says, there’s been some crappy stuff, but don’t forget the good luck. Getting stranded, sharing a room, and talking the whole night. For the first time, he wasn’t just Josslyn’s friend, but hers too. Cameron says, it was pretty cool. A guy comes to the car window, and asks if this is the car for sale. Cameron says, yes, but Trina says, no.

Dev tells Sonny that Barry is accusing him of stealing money. Sonny asks, why? and Barry says Dev heard them talking. Sonny wonders what that proves, and asks Jason, what happened? Jason says they needed to get cash deposited, and Dev was close by when they were talking. Initially, Dev denied hearing them, but Dev says Barry is lying to get him fired. Sonny says, there’s one way to solve it. Search Dev.

Chelsea tells Ava, in her experience, dreams just dreams, and she’s not an interpreter. Ava says, it was so real, but Chelsea doubts Kiki was visiting her. Ava says she knows it was Kiki, and Chelsea says she has a fairly good idea what Kiki would tell Ava. Pull herself together. She’s not doing anyone any good by sitting there drowning in martinis. Scotty interrupts, and Ava introduces Chelsea as her psychic, but Chelsea says, paranormal influencer. Before she leaves, she tells Scotty that he has her sympathy. Turmoil surrounds him. He sits, and Ava says, go ahead. This is where he tells her that she’s drinking too much, and to lay off the psychics and booze. He says, just the opposite. He’s buying. He calls for martinis.

Franco asks Kim what Oscar was like. Drew told him some things, but not everything. What did he want to do for a living? Did he have a hobby. She says, please don’t. She knows it’s difficult, but right now, it’s bordering on cruel. She just lost a son. Hearing him relive experiences they never shared. She has to relive Oscar’s loss all over again. He says he’s sorry; she’s right. Whatever he’s feeling is nothing in comparison to her grief. She had their son for sixteen years, but he’ll never have the chance to know him. She says he never gave himself… Drew never gave himself that chance. He left after Oscar was conceived. He didn’t know she was pregnant. They’d both decided it was best that it ended when he was deployed. He says, is that what she wanted? She says, nope, but she figured if it had been important to Drew, he would have reached out, but he never did. He asks what she’s saying. He wrote to her every month for two years.

The car buyer says, if they need to talk it over… Is the car stolen? Trina says it belonged to a friend who died from a brain tumor. He left it to Cameron in his will. It means a lot to them. He asks if it’s still for sale, and she asks if he’s serious. He has no heart; it’s so not cool. Cameron says think what they can do with the money. Trina says what’s happening now with his family sucks, but this won’t solve anything, and will only make it worse. Cameron gets out of the car with the paperwork. A payment statement for $9000 appears on Cameron’s phone. At the bottom, it says accept or decline. Cameron hesitates, and Drew appears. Drew says he has to talk to Cameron.

Peter tells Shiloh that he needs to talk to a lawyer or priest. This has zero to do with him. Shiloh says it has everything to do with him. He found a vantage point and hid. He had to see what Helena was going to do with Drew. He flashes back to Helena saying she’s so pleased to partner with him. We see Peter is with her. She says she knows he can make it happen. She’s found him very efficient.

Jason says Dev has no cash on him, and Sonny says, check his jacket. Jason pulls a wad of money out of the pocket, and Dev swears it’s a set-up. Barry planted it. Barry says, sorry. He knows Dev is Sonny’s cousin, but it’s obviously a lie. Sonny says, actually, he’s not sure it is. Jason says the deposit was $10K, and there’s only $7K there.

Lulu tells Maxie that her Invader story fell by the wayside. Maxie says, the online burglar? and Lulu says he’s struck another twenty times. She was pulled from the crime beat, and is now on lifestyle focus. She’s going to a wine tasting in Rice Park. Maxie says, tonight? and Lulu asks if she wants to come. Maxie says, Lulu had her at wine. She’s in.

Chelsea sees Elizabeth, and introduces herself, saying she’s a paranormal influencer. She knows Elizabeth’s husband now has Drew’s memories. She read all about it in The Invader. She says, yes. That’s what Sibley meant when she told Elizabeth to hold on tight to Franco. Elizabeth asks if Chelsea knows that, and Chelsea says she can sense it. Elizabeth says, since Chelsea has some understanding of what’s to come, has she lost her husband for good?

Kim says, he wrote letters? and Franco says he wanted her to know how foolish he’d been. He missed her and loved her, and wanted to have her in his life. When she didn’t respond, he thought she didn’t feel the same way. Kim says she never received the letters. in fact, she wanted to try and reach him. She was told by his superiors that his assignment was too sensitive; there was no way to reach him. He believes she knows him, and she has to know if he knew he had a kid, he’d move heaven and earth to be with his son – and her. He takes her hand, and suggests they go somewhere private and talk. He feels there are so many things unsaid. She says she doesn’t think that’s a good idea, and walks away.

Cameron asks what Drew is doing there, and Drew says his mother used the tracking app. He asks who the guy is, and Cameron says he’s there to buy the car. Drew says he’s selling it? He can’t, but it has nothing to do with Oscar. Trust him on this. The guy says, dude, do we have a deal or not? Cameron hits decline, and says, sorry; no sale. The guy says he’s got to be kidding, and Drew tells him he can leave. The guy says, thanks for wasting his time, and Drew says, thanks for leaving. He goes, and Drew tells Cameron, there’s something in the car that belongs to someone else, and he needs to look. Cameron says he cleaned the car himself; there’s nothing in there. Drew says, let him have a shot. If he can’t find it, he’ll give Cameron the money. He digs in the trunk for ten seconds, and says, found it. He brings out a package wrapped in brown paper that’s a good 12” x 10”. Cameron asks, what the hell is that? I realize I’m excited, even though this is a ridiculously unbelievable scenario, and it’s fictitious money in the first place.

Sonny says here’s what he thinks happened. He brought his cousin in, and put him to work, and it annoyed Barry. Barry says, that’s not what happened, and Sonny tells him, shut up. He thought to himself, three thousand bucks; he could use the money. He could blame the kid, because he thought Sonny wouldn’t do anything to his family. Barry pulls the money out of his pocket, and says, sorry. He knows it was stupid. Sonny says he’s stupid. He tells Barry, keep it. It’s his severance pay. Sonny hands him the rest, and says, take this too. He advises Barry to relocate to another coast. Barry can’t get out fast enough, and runs out the door. Dev is surprised Sonny believed him. Tell him why.

Shiloh says Peter was running a job, and helped load Drew into the truck. He didn’t know where they were going, but it was nowhere good. He remembered Helena had to acquire the other twin. Peter says, it’s an interesting tale, but he has no proof. Shiloh says, come on, Henrik, and Peter says his name is Peter. Shiloh says Peter is smarter than that. He took Drew, and they both know it.

Scotty tells Ava, Franco looks and sounds the same, but he’s not the same. Ava says, he really believes he’s Drew? Scotty says he doesn’t know what’s going on. Franco believes he’s a Navy SEAL who just got back from Afghanistan. Nobody has a clue how to bring Franco back. Ava says, lucky Franco.

At the hospital, Drew sees Franco, and asks if he’s all right. Franco doesn’t know if it will ever be all right. He asks if Drew got it, and Drew asks him to go somewhere more private. They go to a bench around the corner, and Franco asks if it’s all there. Drew says, $1.5 million. Franco says, it will be an honor and privilege to return it to the people of Afghanistan. Drew asks, how? and Franco says he’ll go today. Drew says he’s wearing a monitor, and Franco asks if he knows a way to get it off. Drew says, or Franco could breathe, take a minute, and let things settle down. Franco doesn’t think that’s going to happen. Drew says, wait. If this is that important, he has access to a private jet. Franco says, he’ll fly him to Afghanistan? Drew says, no, but he’ll go in his stead.

Sonny knows Dev steals, but he’s too smart to steal from Sonny. It’s not his way; it’s not professional, especially with Jason there. He says, the bags; don’t do it again, and tells Dev, get to work. Dev says, yes, sir. Sonny says Jason said there would be trouble. He was right. Jason says, it turned out to be a good thing. There were concerns about Barry. Sonny wants Jason to check on Barry. You never know what he’ll do. Make sure Sonny’s message is loud and clear. Jason says, will do.

Maxie tells Lulu, her mom and Mac are all set to watch James. Lulu knows Maxie is coming along for her benefit, and appreciates it. Maxie says Lulu would do the same for her, and has. She says she’ll meet Lulu downstairs. She’ll call a car. Lulu leaves, and Maxie calls Dustin. She says she needs to arrange a pick-up.

Trina tells Cameron, that was totally, completely insane. He says, it was in his car the entire time. Trina says it’s his car again. He says he should have listened. Maybe the car is good luck after all. Not that he’ll see any of the money. Trina says that’s why he keeps her around.

Scotty asks if Ava just said, lucky Franco. She asks if he knows what she’d give to forget the mistakes she’s made, and forget the terrible things that happened to her and Kiki. Franco has been given a gift. He’s a new person with no recollection of the atrocities he’s committed. Scotty says what about the Franco they love now? The artist, the guy who just got married. Doesn’t he want to remember that? Ava says they’re the same person. The Franco they loved knew things about himself that he didn’t like. He doesn’t have to carry the weight of that anymore. She thanks Scotty for the drink, and leaves.

Shiloh says, when Peter came to Port Charles, he forgot everything; his name, his background, how he kept that poor bastard prisoner for five years. Peter says Shiloh has lack of proof. Shiloh says he was an eyewitness. He heard what he heard, and saw what he saw. Peter asks who will believe Shiloh? Shiloh says, no one, especially the girl Peter brought to the Nurses Ball. Peter asks what Shiloh wants, and Shiloh says, to get the hell out. And Peter is going to make happen.

Elizabeth asks if Chelsea has anything to tell her. Chelsea asks for her hands. She puts her hands under Elizabeth’s, and closes her eyes. She opens them, and says Elizabeth needs to keep a firm grip on the one she loves – no matter what.

Franco tells Drew that he’s never been in Afghanistan – that he remembers. He doesn’t know the locals. Drew says any contact Franco/Drew has had is gone – it’s been seven years – but Drew has contacts. Franco asks who he can trust, and Drew says he trusts his own instincts, the same instincts Franco has as him. Franco says Drew has so much keeping him there, but there’s nothing there for him. Kim comes by with some boxes, and Drew asks if she’s okay. She says, sorry to interrupt, and heads for the elevator. Franco says she’s not interrupting, but she gets in, and the doors close. Drew says, she’s still grieving. Franco knows, and says so is he. So is Drew taking the blood money back to Afghanistan? Maybe he’s right. Drew should take it back, and Franco will continue his journey there in Port Charles. Drew gives Franco some money, saying he’s going to need it for a new life and a place to stay. Franco asks if it’s a loan, and Drew says, yeah, although I doubt he means that. They wish each other good luck. Drew gets in the elevator, and the doors close.

Tomorrow, Curtis wants to pass a message along to Elizabeth from Drew, Franco asks Ava about the guy he is who he doesn’t remember, and Nelle tells Shiloh it looks like it’s just the two of them.

Southern Charm – The Reunion – Part One

Chelsea says, everyone seems very angry. No one is making eye contact. Cameran says she’s fine. Everyone gets ready. Austen is wearing a barrette, and I wonder if he’s going to wear it on stage. Craig says, Shep’s a mess. The guys investigate the bar in the background of the set, but the bottles are all empty. Craig says it’s after a night with them.

Andy welcomes us to the Season Six Reunion, and tells us to get ready for some good old-fashioned pearl clutching. They have loose ends to tie up. We find out Craig’s pillows are gracing the couches. Andy greets everyone. They all look great, but Kathryn is the belle of the ball in a purple gown with matching eyeshadow. Andy says while the women were busy running the world, the guys were running around the schoolyard. He asks if Shep’s trust fund makes him unmotivated, but Shep says he hasn’t touched it in a long time, but did in his twenties. A viewer points out that Austen is attracted to entrepreneurial go-getters, when he’s been messing with a beer recipe for years. He should get it together or date less motivated women. Shep says, none of this matters. Just smile and try not to hurt anyone should be the goal. Andy asks if Shep was that way this season. He says, not necessarily, but if you punch first, he’ll punch last. A viewer asks Cameran who will mature faster, the boys on Southern Charm or Palmer? She says she’s seen changes in Craig and Shep. It’s slow, but they’re moving up. She says Palmer is going to be two, and she’s a Scorpio like Cameran, strong-willed and always moving. Andy says we watched Cameran struggle to be a stay-at-home mom, and still hang on to the old her. She says she used to party. She didn’t do drugs, but got drunk. She smoked weed two or three times. Andy says on a scale of Shep partying, and she says, probably a two. Andy reminds her about hooking up with Brad on The Real World, and we see a fifteen year old clip. I don’t remember it, so I’d probably stopped watching that show by then. Cameran says Brad was the total opposite of what she was used to in the South, and that’s what attracted her.

Viewers related to Cameran’s struggle to try and be the perfect mom, but others thought she was whiny. One viewer says she wishes working was an option and not a necessity. Cameran says when you’re on TV, it’s like a mirror. Watching that made her cringe, and she thought she was a lucky bitch to have the choice. She came across as stuck up and privileged. Kathryn says every mom thinks and feels the way she said. Cameran says she got more support than negative comments, but feels guilty complaining when she’s in a position of privilege. If she didn’t work, they’d still eat. She likes to feel independent, and gets both sides. Andy asks how many of the guys would like their wife to stay home. Craig doesn’t think it’s their choice. Shep says his mom did that, and with three kids, it was a full time job. Craig says his parents shared the roles equally. Cameran thought stay at home moms had it easy. Austen says he was raised by an aunt. Because his parents both worked, he had a live-in babysitter. He says he’s attracted to a woman with her own career who won’t not rely on him to bring home the bacon. Andy asks if Cameran ever hired a nanny, and she says she decided why pay someone when she can do it herself? Palmer is growing and changing so quickly, she doesn’t want to miss anything. Chelsea thinks Cameran is more emotional, and gets teary-eyed when she talks about Palmer. Cameran says, when you have a baby, another part of your brain opens that was never there. Craig says, look at her, all grown up.

Andy says, Shep finally has a reason to go home at night – Lil Craig. He asks if Shep’s had any luck picking up women at the dog run. He says no, and wants to be clear that he doesn’t do that. A viewer says, Shep is the last person who should own a dog, since he lost his date in a ditch. We flash back to him telling that story, and he says he’s always ahead because he gets anxious, and didn’t realize until he got to the ocean. Andy asks why he didn’t listen to Cameran in his pursuit of real estate. He says she doesn’t know James Island, but she says she does. She thinks he wanted to have a hand in something new. Andy says, he always does. Viewers found him to be bully on the camping trip. We watch mean Shep goes camping again. Craig says, Shep was awful on that trip. Shep says, it’s an older brother thing. Andy asks what Cameran’s reaction is, and she says, Shep takes it too far. He gets in the in zone, and there’s no getting through. It’s one of his few negative qualities. She thinks he needs to do some self-introspection, and figure out what gets him to that point. Craig says he gets to a nasty level, and it seems like there’s something darker behind it. He sees blood in the water, and smiles. Shep says he cops to it. He can be snobby, elitist, and rude, but he can also be generous, kind, and jovial. They all have those things within. Andy says they’re talking anger. Shep says he doesn’t suffer fools gladly. Andy says he’s made them cry, and they’re his friends. Andy asks about Patricia’s dinner, when the women all said he’d made them cry in the past. Shep says it pissed him off, and Cameran says, wrong answer. Shep says, it’s in the moment, and apologizes to anyone who he upset. It denotes that they’re on a certain level, and he feels close enough to take it to another level. Cameran says he takes it to level ten. Shep says he knows everyone’s soft spot. He doesn’t want to go there – don’t make him – but if he does, he goes full speed. He’s not perfect. Andy suggests it’s suppressed anger. Shep says anger isn’t his overwhelming personality trait. If someone thinks it is, they don’t know him. He wouldn’t waste anger and emotion on someone he doesn’t care about. Andy says, it’s not just anger, but arrogance. Shep says he tries to suppress it, but it’s there. He grew up wanting for nothing, and his grandmother was a pistol, who would make snide comments. It can’t help but seep in. I dunno about that. I had a grandmother who said things like, they’re Jewish, but they’re nice, and I didn’t come out a bigot. (Although to be fair, she was also abusive.) Cameran says he needs to be aware that people who don’t agree with him aren’t necessarily evil or dumb. Andy says when he looks at those he’s upset, does he think he was out of line at times? Shep says, probably, but he knows he’s been forgiven. Andy asks, is it all forgiven?

We don’t get that answer. Back from the break, we move on to Naomie. She and Metul have been together a year and a half. A viewer asks if Naomie tracks him like she did Craig, and she says they share locations. Andy asks what’s the plan? and she says Metul has two more years of residency, followed by a fellowship year. He asks if Cameran has any advice, and Cameran says there are positives and negatives. Their partners are committed, solid, and independent, but the negative is, they work a lot. Some weekends, Jason works 48 hours. She doesn’t see him at all. Andy asks if Naomie and Metul have discussed the next step, and she says they’ve talked about moving in together. She sees him pretty much every day. Andy says Metul set off the Twittersphere, and asks what Jason thought about Cameran drooling over him. Cameran says, Jason wasn’t happy. She had to tell him it’s a joke. Andy says fans reacted not so well to Metul telling Naomie what eat. We see a clip of Metul instructing Naomie to stay away from bread, and Craig gives Naomie a Rice Krispy Treat. I guess he took it out of his pocket? Andy asks if it’s hard dating someone so regimented. Naomie says, Metul was just being nice, and came off like an a-hole. Austen says, it was not a good look. What was shown was him being controlling. We flash back to Metul and Naomie in the gym, where IMO, it seems like he’s acting like a trainer. A viewer asks if Metul really told Naomie not to go on the trip, but Naomie says he told her to do what she wanted, but it made him uncomfortable. He’d never tell her what to do. Shep asks if she thinks it’s cultural. His dad’s best friend and business partner is Indian, and said he understood. Naomie says, Metul was born in DC. She says, watching the show, his personality didn’t translate well. Not everyone is comfortable with cameras in their faces. Andy says Metul didn’t sign up for the show. Shep thinks Metul is funny, and Naomie says that’s because he knows Metul. Cameran thinks Metul is warm.

Andy says Naomie had an Icy experience of her own, when the others were in Colorado. We flash back to her meeting with Ashley. He asks what made her do it, and Naomie says, morbid curiosity. She wondered what Ashley could possibly say or do, and she wasn’t disappointed. He asks if Kathryn knew, but Kathryn doesn’t remember when she found out. She says Ashley is weird. She has no ability to read social situations. To say Naomie gave her the idea that Kathryn was open to talking to her, blew her mind. Ashley thought she was going to apologize, and jump right back into the group. Kathryn says Ashley called her Pippi Longstocking – which Kathryn thought was funny – when she came to apologize.

Andy says, last summer, in an effort to get over Naomie, Craig made a pilgrimage to the Bahamas. He came back with a new attitude and assistant, life coach and life manager Anna. We see clips of Anna trying to organize Craig’s life. Andy says it seems like Anna does everything for Craig, and Craig says, it’s nice to have help. Andy wonders if Naomie used to do the same thing, but Naomie says she basically yelled at Craig for not doing it. Craig says now he’s up to speed, and doesn’t need Anna as much. He wants to be the male Martha Stewart. Cameran says some of them didn’t believe he’d actually get started, but in the last few months, he’s put the pedal to the metal. Andy says there have been a lot of tweets on Craig’s progress. Craig says he stopped taking Adderall, and Andy asks if he has ADHD. Craig says the doctor said he does, but it wasn’t the healthiest thing for him to continue to take it after law school. Naomie talks about him abusing it, and Craig says he doesn’t sleep well anyway. He’d go until he crashed. He finally had a reason to stop in the Bahamas. Cameran says he looked healthier when he came back. Andy asks why he started taking Adderall again, and Craig says, because it was there.

It’s time for pillow party talk. Andy asks about the eyeliner Craig was wearing, and Craig says it was the day after Halloween, and he got two days out of it. And the girls like it. Andy asks, what’s the deal with the nail polish? and Craig says it’s for a charity. He has one nail on each hand painted differently from the others, and he says it’s for the one kid out of five who doesn’t report being abused. Andy asks why Craig was upset that Austen had taken Chelsea’s advice about going home at a decent hour. Craig says Austen bailed on him. Chelsea says, it was like it was 9 o’clock. Austen says Craig had no running mate, and Craig says he needed a wingman. There’s nothing wrong with going home, but it was a Saturday night. Austen says it was a Thursday, and Craig is a crackhead. Cameran asks if Craig was taking Adderall. He says he was, and Cameran says that was probably why. Andy asks if Cameran thinks Craig is addicted, and she says, 100%. It’s prescribed for good reason, but when you abuse it, and mix it with alcohol and no sleep, it’s a recipe for effing disaster. That’s why Craig he went into rages. Craig says he hasn’t taken it in eight weeks. Andy asks if that’s what they were seeing in the airport, but Craig says that was Whitney, and justified, but he shouldn’t have acted like a nutjob at Cameran’s party. Austen says he apologized. Andy asks what exactly the airport anger was about, and Craig says Cameran wanted to spend time with them, and Whitney was trying to pull her off the bus. Naomie says if she’d gone on the trip, Craig’s anger would have been directed at her. Andy asks why Kathryn thought Craig was still in love with Naomie. Kathryn says, not so much in love as having unresolved feelings. He didn’t have closure. Craig says he felt it wasn’t resolved, but they had the conversation, and it was. Naomie says she realized she’d gotten closure in a different way, and couldn’t understand why Craig needed it. Craig says his frustration was gone after they talked. Andy asks for a show of hands if they think it’s over, and it’s unanimous.

Changing topics. Andy says Kathryn continues to navigate co-parenting and a custody battle. Kathryn says Kensie is five now, and Saint is three. Kensie will be starting kindergarten in the fall. Andy asks how often she sees them, but she tells him she can’t comment on any custody specifics, and she can’t disparage Thomas. He asks how the co-parenting is going, and she says she keeps it all business. She heard Thomas has a girlfriend. Andy says, not Ashley? and she says, no. He asks if she’s still dating Hunter, and she says she is. He says it’s the first time she’s dating someone her own age. Kathryn says, ever. There are definitely differences. She’s used to men twice her age and already established, but she and Hunter can grow together, and they connect on that level.

Andy reads a tweet from Kate Chastain (Below Deck), thanking Kathryn for making leather pants the go anywhere pants for 2019. Kathryn says they’re like yoga pants, but make you look dressed up when you’re not. She adds they’re from Amazon, and only ten bucks, but I’m sure they sold out by the time she finished the sentence. Andy says viewers are liking how the friendship with Kathryn and Patricia has evolved. They could run the world. One viewer says Patricia was awful to Kathryn for so long, she questions if Kathryn forgives her, or wants a seat at the table. Kathryn says she’s forgiven Patricia, like other people on the couch. She’s also stopped caring what people say. She’s been called every name in the book, but her favorite name is mommy. Aww! Andy asks about Whitney denying having sex with her. We flash back to when he told Kathryn they had different interpretation, and Andy asks if it’s a Bill Clinton situation, but Kathryn says, that’s a negative. There is no second interpretation. He doesn’t want to discuss what happened. A viewer says, if anyone should deny it, it’s Kathryn. Another one tweets, a fifty-one year old man is too terrified of his mommy and his perceived social standing to admit he’s been in love with Kathryn from the beginning. Andy says that’s what Craig has always maintained. Craig says he thinks Whitney has a soft spot for Kathryn, but at the end of the day, doesn’t want to discuss it. Kathryn says a lot pf people got pulled into the situation with her and Thomas that shouldn’t have been pulled in. The easiest thing is for them to distance themselves. Andy asks what Cameran thinks, since she and Whitney are friends. Cameran says she thinks he didn’t want to get pulled into the legal mess. Kathryn says, what sucks for her is, it’s unfair. She can’t control it, but it still falls on her. She’s afraid people won’t want to be around her or be her friend because of Thomas. We see some headlines, and Andy says in a Daily Mail article, Thomas claimed she’s a mentally unstable sex addict, with a prescription drug and shopping problem. I’m surprised he didn’t add that she was a kleptomaniac. He also alleges she failed a drug test. Kathryn thinks he’s diagnosed her with everything in the book.

Andy says fans accused Kathryn of being in another state during her last appearance on Watch What Happens Live. We see some clips, and he says they got lots of tweets. On Instagram she posted that it was her anxiety. He asks why she was so nervous, and she says she had so much going on with the legal stuff. It’s hard to edit everything you say to protect yourself; it’s stressful. Craig says he was bummed. Cameran says, it was uncomfortable to watch. It looked like something was the matter. Andy asks what’s the status of her sobriety. Kathryn says she doesn’t smoke weed; nothing illegal. Andy asks if she can drink, and she nods. He says, and she doesn’t have a problem. She shakes her head, and says it’s not like she’s out partying. He asks if she was drinking that night, but she says, no. He asks Austen if he saw the show, and Austen says he was very disappointed. We see a clip where Austen tweeted into the show, saying Madison lied and begged the guy not to tell Danni, and Kathryn saying, time’s up. Austen says he wondered what was wrong with her. He and Craig both got burned. Does she remember? He says it doesn’t seem like she remembers being there. Kathryn says she hasn’t re-watched the show because she’s too embarrassed, but don’t think he can come after her sobriety. He needs to back up. He can do this sh*t with Madison all day long, but seriously?
