General Hospital

Alexis says an explanation of Cameron’s motives may or may not play with the judge. She’s hoping for one who has a soft heart. Judge Carson can be a bit of a hardnose. The bailiff tells everyone to rise. Presiding today, is the honorable Naomi Carson. The court comes to order.

At The Floating Rib, Laura thanks Carly and Sam for coming. She knows their family must have divided loyalties. Sam says Ned has done a great job, but the city isn’t a business. Carly says, Port Charles isn’t a building project; it’s a community, and Laura should run it. If nothing else, Laura hopes she’s made the public aware of some important issues. At the end of the day, it’s all they can hope.

Still looking through files, Curtis tells Jordan, this is some messed up stuff. It just keeps getting darker. He thinks Ryan did the world a favor by incinerating himself. Margaux walks in, and asks if there’s been any progress. She asks to talk to Jordan in her office, and Jordan wonders if she has a problem with Curtis being there. Margaux says she’s not comfortable with the PCPD bringing in a PI. Curtis offers to leave, but Jordan wants him to stay, saying they’ve realized the killer might be taking cues from Ryan Chamberlain. Margaux asks what kind, and Jordan says, the kind not available to the general public. They might have access to police files.

Olivia tells Ned, it’s easier to come in and criticize after the fact than roll up your sleeves and rebuild after an earthquake. She thinks people should be more appreciative of what he put in. He says, no matter what, he’s proud of what they’ve accomplished. Even when things went south after the earthquake, he had the best first lady. She says, the mayor wasn’t shabby either. He tells her that their interview with Lulu is about to start.

They put on the TV, and Lulu thanks them for inviting her into their home. By the time this airs, the campaign will be over, and people will be casting ballots. She asks how they feel. Olivia says she’s exhausted from the campaign trail, but excited for the future. Lulu asks, what about hopeful for a win?

Sonny drops by Lulu’s place. He was in the neighborhood, and wanted to check on her and the kids. She tells him that Charlotte is at Valentin’s this week, and Rocco is at the Quartermaine’s. Sonny says their family must be conflicted over the campaign. Lulu says she supports her mother, but her son is having a sleepover at her opponent’s house. Sonny is there to talk about a certain someone who’s off undercover. Does she know when Dante is coming home?

Laura thanks Mac for playing host. He says he’s happy to support her in any way possible, but wishes Doc was there to do the same. He supported her at the town meeting; he was warm and sincere. Maybe it’s a sign he’s coming around. She says she appreciates Doc’s support, but he doesn’t want to reconcile.

Carly can’t stop thinking about Oscar, and Sam can’t stop thinking about Drew. Scout will never know her brother; only through pictures and stories. She says Carly must be proud of Josslyn. It must be hard on her, but she wouldn’t be surprised if Josslyn found a cure or a miracle. Carly says, Josslyn is in denial. She can’t let herself believe she’s going to lose Oscar. She’s a fighter, and her first instinct is to take action and find a solution. Sam says, like her mother, and Carly adds, and her father. But soon she’ll have to face reality. Oscar will die, and she’ll be left to grieve. Sam is sorry, and Carly says she’s sorry too, and furious there’s no one to blame.

Margaux asks on what basis do they think the killer is mimicking the Chamberlain murders? Curtis tells her the driver’s license is missing from the victims; the same as in the other murders. Margaux says that information was never relayed, and Jordan says there aren’t any notations. It’s possible it wasn’t noticed until they made the connection. They were looking at the catalog of the victims’ personal effects. Curtis adds that they cross-checked it will all the victims’ files. They were all without driver’s licenses. Margaux says they never realized there was a pattern, and Jordan says there’s no way to know for sure unless they talk to Sean Donnelly. He was commissioner at the time. She gets out her phone, and asks for his number. She says she knows he lives overseas.

Sonny tells Lulu, dealing with his dad puts things in perspective. He doesn’t want to miss another holiday with Dante. Lulu says she heard from Dante on New Year’s Eve. He sends his love, but there were no details. He said he’d be out of touch for a while, so she got the impression that he’s going further undercover. Sonny asks if she told him what was going on, but she says she skipped that there’s a serial killer on the loose. Sonny tells her he has people watching her house, and she says she noticed. He says he can send a driver too, but she doesn’t want to be tripping over bodyguards. She told Dante everyone is okay, and work is keeping her busy. Telling him about the killer would worry him for no reason.

Olivia tells Ned the exit polls are neck and neck. She asks if he’s concerned about a repeat of the eleventh hour derailment of Alexis’s campaign. He says he and Laura kept their pledge; it was fair and square. They have a difference of opinion on some issues, but they both have mutual respect for the process, and a deep commitment to Port Charles. If he wins, he’ll do his best, and if Laura wins, he’ll support her. Olivia says, it’s possible to disagree and still respect someone as a person. She’s proud of how they both restored integrity to the politics of Port Charles. Ned tells Olivia that she’s been fantastic, and she says, so was he.

Alexis tells Judge Carson that her client is only sixteen-year-old. It’s his first offense, and has no record. It could be categorized as an error in judgement. Should it be used against him for the rest of his life? Judge Carson says the dealer is also a minor, and got twelve months in juvenile detention. Why should Cameron get a pass? Alexis says Cameron wrote a letter to the court, and asks if he can be allowed to read it. The judge agrees.

Cameron apologizes to the court and his fellow citizens for the mistake he made. He knew he was breaking the law, but did it anyway. He regrets it, and it won’t happen again. He’s not saying he won’t mess up – everyone does – but in the future, it won’t be illegal. He promises to learn from this experience, and be a better person. Alexis says, in light of Cameron’s sincere apology, she asks for an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal. Elizabeth asks to speak, and the judge allows it. She says she’s proud of her son for taking responsibility, but his apology is incomplete, and the court should know why he did what he did.

Sonny’s heart goes out to Lulu, waiting for Dante, and raising the kids on her own. He tells her that he’s always there to support her. She says she knows, but it’s nice to hear it. He has to meet Carly at her mom’s party, and Lulu says she’ll be following right behind. She just has a little work on an article to finish up. Sonny says he has a simple request. Don’t be afraid to kick Dante in the butt. The next time she talks to him, tell him time to come home.

On the phone, Jordan says to send her regards to the commissioner from his PCPD family. She tells Curtis and Margaux, sad news. She spoke to Tiffany, and Sean is having trouble recalling what month it is, so he’s out of the picture. Margaux says, it’s a dead end. Jordan says, maybe not. There’s someone who still lives in Port Charles who’s closely involved with a woman Ryan was obsessed with.

Carly tells Sam that she doesn’t know what she’d have done in Kim’s place. She hopes she never finds out, but keeping Oscar’s diagnosis a secret affected a lot of people. Sam says, including Josslyn. Carly says when she looked in Josslyn’s eyes, she saw a girl who’s strong, resolute, and haunted. She’s way too young to look like that.

Mac says, the exit polls are too close to call. It could go either way. Laura takes comfort in knowing she’s running against Ned. If he wins, she won’t be horribly upset. They disagree on certain things, but she respects him. Mac says that’s exactly why she should be mayor; she’s a fundamentally fair person. Carly asks Mac for more beers, and asks Laura how she’s holding up. Laura says she’s more nervous than she cares to admit. Carly says she ran a great campaign, and she loved Laura’s platform, especially holding Ferncliff accountable. Laura tells her that Doc reminded her Ferncliff is for the criminally dangerous, and to proceed with caution. He said he’d keep an eye on Ferncliff. Carly asks if she believes him, and Laura says, yes; doesn’t she? Carly says, no.

Carly asks Laura if she remembers how she kept asking about a patient when they toured Ferncliff. She had a friend look into it, and they said the patient’s name was Wilson. Laura says, first or last? Carly says she didn’t know, but Doc said he’d check it out. He told her the patient’s name is Wilson Ritter, and he has a history of violence. She researched him, and came up with nothing. As far as she can see, he doesn’t exist. Laura wonders, if he’s as notorious as Doc said, is it possible he was admitted under an alias? Carly never thought of that. Sam joins them, and Carly tells her the patient at Ferncliff may or may not be Wilson Ritter. Curtis and Jordan come in. Sam thought Jordan can’t take sides, and Jordan wishes Laura luck, but says she’s not here for the election. She came to speak to Mac.

Mac tells Jordan that he’s current on his liquor license. Curtis asks if he can spare a few minutes, and they sit at a table. Sam wonders what that’s about. Carly asks if Curtis isn’t her business partner, but all Sam knows is that he’s working with the PCPD. It’s all hands on deck to find the killer. Carly says after Laura wins, she highly recommends the DA be fired.

Margaux shows up at Lulu’s house, wanting to ask a few questions. She promises not to ask about family secrets. She tells Lulu that her house is nice and homey. You’d never know Lulu was sitting on privileged information about a serial killer.

Ned channel surfs. He says it’s an hour before the last precinct reports. Olivia can’t believe he’s not monitoring the returns. He says he can’t sit there cheering every uptake, and agonizing over every loss. It’s out of his hands, and he doesn’t have to torture himself. Olivia asks if he thinks he can distract himself by binge watching. He asks if she’s willing to try with him, and she says she’s in it all the way.

Elizabeth tells the judge that Cameron didn’t do it for himself, but for a sick friend. She knows it’s an obvious excuse, but it’s the truth. Cameron’s friend has a serious form of cancer. Elizabeth is a nurse, and sees the ravages of cancer every day. His friend was constantly nauseous, and had no appetite. Cameron wanted to help by making brownies. He knows it was a bad judgement call, but his motives were good. He was trying to help a friend. Judge Carson asks if Cameron is a nurse or doctor. Alexis tries to interject, but the judge says she’s asking Cameron a question. Cameron says he’s neither one of those things. Judge Carson says, yet he thought it was appropriate to intervene. How did he know if he would make it better or worse? Drew has walked in, and asks if he can field that question. The judge asks who he is, and he says his son is the young man Cameron was trying to help. His son is Oscar Nero, and Oscar’s mom is Kim Nero, a doctor at General Hospital. She couldn’t be there, but if she could, she’d attest to Cameron’s character. He’s a good friend. Judge Carson says, no one is questioning him being a friend, but questioning his judgement and actions. Drew says Oscar was a friend in need, and you don’t abandon a friend who’s suffering, walking into a bright future and leaving them behind. Cameron didn’t stop to think if he’d get in trouble or if it would affect his ability to get into college. He didn’t just say the appropriate words about thoughts and prayers; he did something. He took action. In Drew’s eyes, he’s a hero. The judge says it’s a very emotional case, but it’s her job to separate emotion from the law. The court is in recess. Elizabeth thanks Drew, and hugs him.

Olivia turns off the TV. She wants to take this time to talk with Ned. She says he campaigned hard, and she still believes he’d be the best mayor. He thanks her, but she says, here’s the thing. In her heart of hearts, she’s not sure she wants him to win.

Lulu tells Margaux that she’s a Journalist. If she comes across information the public should know, she writes about it. It’s literally her job. Margaux says what gives her pause is how Lulu acquired specific police files on Ryan Chamberlain. Lulu says Peter requested she have access for a background on the series she’s writing, and the PCPD cleared it. Margaux asks if she shared it with anyone, and Lulu says, with her readers, and the cases were all closed. She wonders what the problem is, and wants to record the conversation. Margaux tells her, don’t. What she’s about to tell her is strictly off the record. Lulu doesn’t think that’s fair, but Margaux doesn’t care. What she says stays there. People’s lives are at risk.

Curtis tells Max that they’ve combed the lists of the victims’ possessions. Jordan says, none of them had a driver’s license, and Curtis says, it’s the same with Mary Pat, Kiki, and Peyton. He knows Mac was close to the case. He asks if Mac ever discussed it with the police, and Mac says he would have, if they’d all worked together. Sean would have told him anything. Curtis asks if there’s anything else he can tell them, and Mac says he can tell them about Felicia’s fear, and now someone is copying Ryan. Jordan says they have no reason to suspect Felicia is in danger. A more accurate picture of Ryan’s behavior might help. Mac thinks he knows someone who’s able to help. He hopes it’s not too late. I’m not sure what he means by this. Is he talking about the hour, or as in, oh no, it’s too late?

Sonny tells Laura to have her acceptance speech ready, and asks for a minute. He says it looks like it’s going her way. She’s going to be pressured to distance herself from him, and he’s okay with that. Laura says she’s not. He tells her that he knows she’ll do good, but not if she gets hung up on corruption charges. Laura says she’s known him a long time. It’s a little late to pretend they don’t know each other. He doesn’t want their association to cause her trouble. She says she has nothing to hide – including her friendship with him

Sam asks Carly to say her goodbyes. Carly says tell Jason she said hi.

Mac tells Curtis and Jordan that he has a contact at Pentonville who’s worked there forever. He was hoping to get information on Ryan, but no such luck. He was in isolation, and his contact with other inmates was minimal. He was a snob, and felt they weren’t wroth his trust or attention. Mac wishes he had more. If the killer is copying Ryan, he’s going to be hard to catch, and they’ll need all the help they can get.

Margaux tells Lulu that they have reason to believe the killer might been emulating Ryan, and used info contained in the police files. Lulu asks what kind? but Margaux says she’s asking the questions. When Lulu was doing research, did anything jump out linking the murders, other than Ryan? Lulu says if she’s asking if Ryan put a signature stamp on his crimes, she didn’t notice anything. She says there must have been something if they think this is a copycat. Let her write about it. Margaux says, nice try. Lulu says she could make the killer panic. They’ll slip up, and get caught. Margaux suggests Lulu forget they had this conversation; it’s safer that way. Margaux leaves, and Lulu gets on her laptop. She looks up the files on Ryan.

Ned asks if Olivia thinks Laura will make a better mayor, but she says she thinks he’s spectacular. He wonders why the eleventh-hour change of heart. She says there’s a serial killer who loves public spectacle. Election day is perfect for a public murder, and she doesn’t want him targeted next. He tells her he’s safer than most people. He lives in a huge house with security gates and surveillance cameras; he’s safe. Olivia says, maybe she’s over-exaggerating (isn’t that redundant?) the danger, but maybe it’s a convenient excuse to quit while they’re ahead.

The hearing is back in session. The judge has reached a decision, and says she’s agreed to an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal for twelve months. There will also be appropriate community service and drug counseling. Cameron has a year to prove himself, providing she doesn’t see him in her courtroom again. After that time, the charges will be dropped. The hearing is over, and Cameron asks Elizabeth if he’s on probation for a year.

Elizabeth thanks Alexis. Alexis says she and Drew did the important work. Cameron says, not all of it. He appreciates what Alexis did for him. Alexis says he did it himself. He was very persuasive while under pressure. Franco asks how it feels. Cameron says he won’t lie. Community service and drug counseling are kind of a bummer, but if it keeps him out of juvie and clears his record, he’s all for it. Elizabeth tells him that he’s getting a job to help with legal fees. Franco laughs, and Elizabeth says, Alexis isn’t cheap. Drew tells Cameron to stop by his office. He’ll try to find him a job. Cameron doesn’t know how to thank him, and Drew says he doesn’t have to. Just keep being a good friend to his son. Cameron says maybe the three of them can go hiking, now that Oscar is getting better. Drew says, that would be great, and congratulates him.

Sonny tells Carly it was nice to see Sam. Is there anything he should know? She says Sam is spending time with Jason. Laura tells them, thanks for coming out. They can stay, but if she was them, she’d get out while the getting’s good. Carly knows Laura is going through a difficult time, but she stepped up.  Like everyone else who voted for her, Carly is grateful.

Jordan says the police never made a connection, and Mac says, Lulu never picked up on it. Jordan is no longer sure the killer had access to the police files; it could be a coincidence. Mac says, two killers with the same taste in trophies?

Lulu looks at the victim files, and compares them to Ryan’s.

Olivia tells Ned that she enjoyed being First Lady, but it’s a lot of work, being out, smiling, watching every tweet and word. Living in fishbowl is only suitable for fish, not humans. Ned misses his privacy too, but believes in what they set out to do. So does she. She’s sorry she’s whining, but she’s over it. Public service is hard, but important and worth it. She’s with him all the way. They kiss.

Alexis runs in to The Floating Rib, telling Laura that she just made it to vote. Laura says, every vote counts, especially now. Alexis has a good feeling. She thinks Laura will win. Laura says they’ll find out soon. Everyone looks at the TV.

Tomorrow, nothing would make Finn happier, the voters have spoken, and Mac tells not-Doc that something has to stay between them.

🍕 Tonight’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back featured Shanty on 19th in Allentown, PA. Gordon said it was living up to its name. He disguised himself as a member of the local hockey team, and dined on not-fresh but frozen scallops, sour shrimp, and burnt scallops masquerading as blackened. Hell on Wheels showed everyone such hilarities as the owner’s father spitting in the food – possibly the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen on one of Gordon’s shows; and that’s saying a lot – a filthy kitchen, moldy food, sending out raw fries – a big no-no; raw potatoes can make you sick – the owner drinking on the job, and the employees screaming at one another within earshot of the patrons. Chef Kennedy said she wasn’t allowed to make changes, and owner Joe bought cheap stuff, but expected her to make miracles with it. She reminded me of Kim Zolciak’s Chef Tracey, and another one of the kitchen staff looked just like Jesse (Jesse Borrego) from Fame. Joe Sr. said Joe Jr. had a problem delegating authority, which prompted Gordon to say he didn’t have a problem delegating alcohol. BA-DUM-CHH! Joe Sr got the boot almost immediately, after smirking his way through watching his gross behavior on film. Gordon said it was the most dramatic 24 hours yet (yeah, yeah), with an owner who was drinking himself into oblivion and a disempowered chef. He hoped they stayed on point. He said the chef was a delight, and it was the toughest, but most rewarding of his makeovers. We saw a clip of Joe and the restaurant three months in, and he said they were doing fantastic. They learned to communicate, and he’s had to hire more staff because they have so much business. His wife commented on how Gordon fixed their marriage as well, because he is literally all things to all people, and the hardest working man in show business, next to Tyler Perry. Next time, a restaurant in Waterbury, CT, where the owner is exploiting his mother, and a chef is driven to the brink.

🍰 Not a lot happened on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Probably because there were two events that held no drama. Jennifer was disappointed that her husband don’t care about article Jackie wrote, referring to their kids. We got advice from Frank – don’t buy boats. Jackie told Teresa that she’s a grown woman, and Teresa’s behavior at Marge’s wasn’t acceptable. Teresa insisted Jackie came at her first, which is her M.O., and no one else has thrown the situation in her face. We found out that Jackie’s dad did six months away, and both of her parents were on house arrest for IRS fraud. She thought it was amusing. She promised never to bring Juicy Joe up again. Teresa made peace, but in her interview, said, strike two. Frank is helping Teresa with her last three weeks before the fitness competition. He told her to lose twelve more pounds. I guess she’ll have to live on air. Normally, I would be pissed that anyone would tell a woman something like that, especially when it looks like she doesn’t have an ounce of body fat already, but bodybuilders are nuts, and she’s competing, so…  Marge had everyone over – sans Jennifer and Danielle – to her unfinished house, which still looked fabulous. She and Danielle are on the outs after Danielle’s wedding antics. Marge is done, and doesn’t want to have the same fight again. Dolores set up a day of pampering for the ladies from the shelter, and Marge contributed gift baskets. It got me thinking if this was a good or bad thing. Do they suddenly know what they’re missing and life is more of a bummer, or does it give them a goal? Either way, it was definitely a lovely gesture. The other occasion was the promise of engagement party for Jennifer’s brother. Everyone in the family is thrilled, since he’s forty-five, and they were giving up hope. The party was in Turkey, and I always love the traditional family stuff, like on Shahs of Sunset. I also love traveling without leaving my house. Both Jennifer’s and Delores’s spreads were incredible. Jennifer got pissed all over again about the article, and said Jackie has it coming. Next time, we’ll see what comes Jackie’s way, and Marge says she can’t associate with Danielle. Speaking of which…

👯 As Andy Cohen put it, the combo you didn’t know you needed, Danielle Staub and Lindsay Lohan on Watch What Happens Live. Lindsay looked glamorous, like a bombshell babe from the 40s, but Danielle’s face looked… not real. I’m not sure if it was too much Botox and fillers, or the makeup, or a combination of both, but I wasn’t loving the look. A scene from The Parent Trap with Andy and Lindsay on Clubhouse Playhouse was just embarrassing. And not for Lindsay. She also did not plead The Fifth, and according to her, has not even met Jax, much less hooked up with him.

💸 Dorit and PK (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) will be clients on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Should be interesting. Those two are a trip. I wonder if Boy George will make an appearance.

🐮 Sweet Home is now on Wednesdays at 10 pm. I hope it does well in this slot, but I assume anything does better when not in the Friday night death knell spot. I’m loving this show just as much as I did their original Sweet Home Oklahoma. Tubbers, Pumps, and man-bunned Josh are still just as much a part of it, and that’s all that matters. A nice addition has been the street interviews with Oklahomans, asking about everything from drag queens to current events. This show is prime.

General Hospital

One year ago today – approximately. Lucy wonders how she’s getting out of this one.

One year ago today, minus one day – approximately. Lucy asks Maxie who in their right mind would want to visit their city. Maxie says, there are a lot of great things happening, but Lucy says, no one knows about them.

Lucy holds the bag while Sonny punches. They talk about the mayor’s duties.

At the hospital, Monica asks if the job falls to Lucy. Lucy says no one else has her verve, and she’s Port Charles’s biggest fan.

At the MetroCourt bar, Lucy tells Scotty not to dismiss her. She’s an entrepreneur. She wants to rebrand Port Charles, and make it a tourist destination again.

Alexis tells Lucy all she needs are investors. Lucy says, guidebooks don’t publish themselves. Think of the tourist dollars, and the legal fees. Sam says, and the real estate dollars. Lucy says, think of the tax base increase.

Jason walks out of the hospital elevator while Lucy tells him to dust off his checkbook. He keeps walking, and she says she’ll take that as a yes.

Sam tells Lucy that she’s not gambling her kids’ inheritance. Lucy tells Alexis that she can invest that Cassadine cash. Alexis says it’s tied up in her 401K.

Lucy tells Julian that he must see the value in the publicity. He says he just bought a bar; his money is tied up in it.

Lucy reminds Monica that she took Alan off her hands. Monica says, get out before she calls security.

Back at the gym, Sonny asks if he writes a check… Lucy says she’ll get out of his hair faster than he can say –

Maxie says, great idea. But there’s no way she can get the bucks together. Lucy says she came up with the seed money. Now she needs quotes from Port Charles’s best and brightest. She takes out a pen and paper.

Present day – exactly. Lucy looks in a travel agency window at travel guides of Port Charles.

Sonny and Mike are at the gym. Mike asks how long this is going to take. He’s perfect. Just ask Yvonne.

Stella sees Marcus at Turning Woods. She has a present for Yvonne from Mike. She says she thought about Marcus over the holidays. He tells her he spent time with his wife. Stella asks how she is, and he wonders who wants know – her or Mike?

Elizabeth asks Kim how her New Year’s Eve was. Kim says, it couldn’t been worse.

Kristina tells Sam and Jason it didn’t take long. Sam tells Kristina that she’d said to come over, and here they are. Kristina invites them in. She says, her sister is there with her… Jason. Kristina introduces them to Shiloh, who we recognize as Hank. Jason reacts, and Sam asks if she knows him. Jason says he knows him enough to know he’s lying.

Scotty sees Monica at the hospital, and says he needs to talk to her. She says she has no comment on lawsuits, but he says he’s not there to sue the hospital. He has bad news.

Julian sees Alexis sitting at a table in Charlie’s. He tells her Kristina isn’t working, but she says she’s not spying; she’s meeting a client. He asks if they don’t have fancy conference rooms for that, but she says they’re secluded, and Port Charles has a serial killer on its hands. Lucy comes in, and sits with Maxie. Maxie says she was just about to leave for a self-defense class she can’t afford to miss. Lucy says Crimson can’t afford to miss an exclusive on a book publication, by yours truly. Lucy hands a book to Maxie, and says, read it and weep – tears of joy.

Sonny tells Mike that Yvonne has good taste, but he has to remain worthy and keep up the maintenance. Exercise is good for the body, but also keeps the head clear. Mike doesn’t want to miss Yvonne’s call. He’s sure she would have called by now. They should stop by Turning Woods after they work out. He wants to see how she liked the present.

Stella tells Marcus that she heard about Yvonne leaving the facility unattended. She’s sorry. Marcus appreciates her sympathy, but the apology isn’t necessary. She had nothing to do with it. Stella says she can’t fathom what went through his head when Yvonne was missing. He says he pictured her alone in the streets, not knowing who or where she was. When a child is out like that, people stop to help, but with someone like her, people don’t want to be bothered. They don’t see her. Stella says, someone did, but he says, not soon enough to stop Mike from luring her away. Stella says Jordan told her that he’s not pressing charges. He doesn’t see how that would help Yvonne. He’s going to do right by her another way.

Monica tells Elizabeth that she’s taking the day off, and won’t be available for anything until tomorrow. She leaves with Scotty, and Kim says, something must have happened. Elizabeth says, Monica is a private person. If she wants them to know anything, she’ll tell them

Kristina can’t believe Sam and Jason came over right after she moved in. Jason says he knows Shiloh as Hank. That’s how he introduced himself to Drew. Shiloh (I guess we’re calling him this now) says he didn’t want to confuse Drew. Sam asks if he knew Drew when he was a SEAL. Shiloh says he did, and Sam has him at a disadvantage. Kristina says Sam is her sister and Drew’s ex-wife. Shiloh says, when you change your life, it’s helpful to change names too. He tells them that they’re more than welcome. Any friend of Kristina’s… Kristina tries to interject, and Shiloh tells her, stop being rude. Sam asks if he spoke with Drew, and Shiloh says he did. Drew told him about his memory loss. He’d hoped to spark something, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen. Kristina says Drew doesn’t remember anything before coming to Port Charles. Shiloh says it’s a shame. If it wasn’t for Drew’s intervention, he’d still be Hank, shallow and wasted. Drew literally and figuratively saved his life, and he intends to repay his debt.

Kim can’t find her phone, and tells Elizabeth, it’s official; she’s a basket case. Elizabeth asks if she wants to talk. Kim says there’s not much to talk about. Julian broke up with her. Elizabeth doesn’t believe it. Kim says, neither did she at first. Elizabeth can’t believe Julian thinks he can do better than her.

Julian tells Alexis that he read the article on how Kiki ‘s murder might be related to the nurse’s murder. Alexis says Jordan is about to make a statement linking the MetroCourt murder, the nurse, and Kiki. She’s surprised Ava didn’t tell him, but he thinks it’s better to hear it from her anyway. Maybe Ava’s been trying to call; he’s been preoccupied. Alexis suggests he take the day off. Call Kim and have fun. He flashes back to seeing Drew and Kim kissing. He tells Alexis, Kim is otherwise occupied.

Stella knows Marcus is angry. He needs an outlet for his feelings before they consume him. Marcus says he’s past breaking things. She says, talking has been known to help. He can talk to her, but she knows that could be complicated. She can give him a good therapist to help him articulate his feelings, and talk it through. He says there’s only one person he wants to talk to, and he’s taking the opportunity to make that happen. He’s assuming responsibility for Yvonne’s care and taking her home.

Sonny gives Mike boxing tips as they spar. Mike says if he’s forgotten a lot, but if he forgets to breathe, they’re in trouble. It’s hard to concentrate when he knows Yvonne is waiting. Sonny says he’s doing fine. Chet watches from the sidelines, and suggests Mike try rotating his hips more. It will help with his lower back. Mike tries it. Sonny says Chet knows about boxing, and Mike says he was in the service. Chet asks if the tattoos or his legs were a giveaway. Mike says, the tattoos; he’d recognize Tulip’s work anywhere. They exchange information on where they were stationed, and fist bump.

Maxie tells Lucy that she’s impressed and scandalized. A secret nude beach? Lucy says there’s so much they don’t know about their own town. She wants to share it with the world using her book. That’s where Maxie comes in. The book is no good without being in people’s hands. She needs publicity. She’s picturing an amazing, fabulous book launch; a signing like they did for Ask Man Landers. Maxie says it’s not normally something Crimson does, but she can come up with an angle. Lucy wonders if Scotty looks exceptionally rumpled today.

Sitting with Monica, Scotty asks if she wants a cocktail. She doesn’t think losing her sobriety is a way to honor Gail. He tells her that the nurse called him, saying Gail might not make it. He booked a flight to Florida, and had Serena meet him. Monica is glad he had Serena with him, but wishes she had been there when Gail died.

Shiloh says the story of what put him in Drew’s debt is in the book. Sam says he’s too young to have written a memoir, but he says, you’re never too young to share wisdom. He hands them a copy, saying, it’s a confessional; a study on the human condition. A way to look at life, and how to live it. He had to evolve and change. Hank wasn’t much of a man. Sam asks if Shiloh is, and he says, that’s for others to judge. He’s doing his best, creating Dawn of Day.

Mike tells Chet a story about how another soldier had to polish his boots for two weeks for something Mike did. Sonny says he never heard that, and Mike says, no one likes old soldier stories. Chet adds, except other vets. Mike hates to cut it short, but he has a lady waiting. He leaves to get cleaned up, and Sonny thanks Chet. He never heard Mike talk about the service. Chet says, the level of engagement isn’t unusual; it’s good to meet a fellow vet. Sonny says he hasn’t seen Chet around, and Chet says his sister lives in Port Charles. Sonny asks, what about him? and Chet says, that depends on if he finds the right job. Sonny says he knows his way around a gym. He owns this place, and he’s looking for a manager who’s knowledgeable and discreet. Is Chet interested?

Stella tells Marcus that he’s taking on great strain. He wouldn’t have placed Yvonne at Turning Woods if he thought she could be on her own. He says he’s seen the care she’s gotten, and he’ll take his chances at home. Stella says, even if she’s unhappy? Marcus asks, who said she’s happy there? Mike? Sonny? Stella tells him, Yvonne. He says his marriage is none of her business. She forfeited the right to weigh in on his life a long time ago.

Sam asks Shiloh if the house has a name, and he says his outfit does. She asks what his outfit does, and he says, anything that needs to be done. Kristina says they’re helping rebuild the houses on Charles Street, and they’ve gotten a program together. Sam says, it sounds costly, and wonders who’s funding the household. Kristina says, people pay what they can. Oscar lives there. Sam asks if Shiloh knows he’s housing someone who’s underage, but Shiloh says he’s aware of the circumstances, and found a spot for him. Sam still isn’t clear how the others afford to live there. Kristina tells her, quit acting like such a bitch, but Shiloh says, her questions are completely valid. He funds the house with his own money. Sam asks where it comes from exactly, and he says he’s a life coach. He helps people realize their full potential.

At the gym, Drew asks Curtis if he found the body. Curtis says he found a lot of blood, but not the body. Peyton was killed in the editing room, but found on the MetroCourt terrace. Drew says, after the fact, like the nurse and Kiki. Drew asks if Curtis thinks they crossed paths, but he’s trying not think about it. He asks if Drew has something more pressing, and Drew says, maybe. He’s wondering if a blast from the past is a good thing.

Elizabeth asks Kim if it’s because of Oscar that Julian doesn’t want a relationship. Kim says he thinks she can’t take care of both, but he’s not completely wrong. She’s been giving Julian a lot less attention. Elizabeth says, Oscar is fighting for his life. Julian isn’t getting enough attention, so he decided to leave and act like he’s doing her a favor? Kim says, it didn’t come out of the air. Julian saw her and Drew kiss on New Year’s Eve.

Alexis asks Julian if there’s been any news about Oscar, and he says not that he knows. She says Oscar’s current phase of therapy is ending soon, but Julian says he can’t help Kim. She asks if he something wrong, and he says Kim won’t tell him because they’re through.

Stella thanks Mike and Sonny for meeting her. Mike asks if Yvonne liked the gift. Stella tells him that she didn’t see Yvonne; she dropped it off. It wasn’t a good time for a visit. Mike says he’ll find out this afternoon when Sonny drops him off. He asks Stella if something is wrong, and she says, Yvonne’s husband is moving her out and taking her home.

Curtis says, so Hank knows Drew from the SEALS? Drew tells him, that’s what he said. Curtis asks if Drew doesn’t believe him, and Drew say he automatically doesn’t trust anyone who says they’re from his past. Curtis says he can look into it, and see what Hank is up to. Drew appreciates it. He’s worried about Oscar’s mom. Curtis thought Drew’s relationship with Kim was the one uncomplicated thing about his life. Drew says, it was. Curtis says if they had a fight, Drew would have told him, so he’s left with an inescapable conclusion – they got biblical with it. Drew says he has a one-track mind. No, they didn’t, but they kissed.

Elizabeth says Kim and Drew kissed at midnight on New Year’s Eve? Kim say they’ve been living in Oscar’s hospital room, and were talking about old times. It was nothing; a one-time thing. Elizabeth says, but that’s not what Julian took away. Kim says he saw it out of context, and nursed his wounded pride in bed with someone else.

Alexis says she didn’t know Kim and Julian broke up, and he says she’s the first person he’s told. He doubts Kim has spread the word. He doubts it’s of much of concern. Alexis says, any fool can see how much he means to her, and he says, any fool but this one.

Maxie tells Lucy that she’ll help her out, but she has to get to her class. She asks Lucy if she wants to come, but that’s a no. Maxie leaves, and Lucy watches Scotty.

Monica tells Scotty that she doesn’t know who she’d be if Gail hadn’t given her such a wonderful role model. We flash back to Gail counseling Scotty about getting married. She tells him, there’s not a problem on earth you can’t solve if you truly love each other. Monica asks where Scotty went, and he says he went walking down Memory Lane. Monica says she has a second home on that street. We flash back to Gail telling Monica, every night wasted is critical. Monica says she has some hard memories; difficult ones, but none are bad. Scotty says, Gail had a temper. When he banged up a fender, she gave him what for. Lucy approaches their table. She says from their long faces, they must not have heard she’s a published author. When she gets no reaction, she asks, what’s wrong? Monica says, there’s no easy way, and Scotty tells her, Gail passed away last night.

Mike says, Yvonne isn’t going anywhere; she’d never leave him. Sonny says, if Marcus wants take her home, he has every right. Mike says, he’ll be taking her from what she’s accustomed to. He promises not to see Yvonne again if she can stay where she feels safe and knows her place. Sonny tells him, take it easy; he’ll take care of it. He promises to fix it.

Sam asks if Shiloh is helping Kristina realize her full potential. Kristina says they already know Sam thinks her life is a mess. Does she have a problem with Shiloh helping her? Sam says Kristina works at Charlie’s, and isn’t in a position to be giving money away. Kristina accuses her of being condescending. She hasn’t been asked for a dime. Shiloh has improved his life; she can’t do the same? Shiloh says, Sam is a caring sister, but Kristina asks, then why is every word out of her mouth prove she doubts Kristina can improve her life? She stomps off, and Shiloh tells Sam and Jason, the door is always open, but maybe this conversation is best continued later. He tells Jason, keep the book. He hopes to see him again soon. Jason says he will.

Curtis and Drew spar. Drew says, it was just a kiss, nothing more. Curtis says, a New Year’s Eve thing. Drew says if Curtis wants, he can ask Kim. Curtis says, if they both agree it was nothing, why does it need sorting out? Drew says he’s getting his gloves, and he’ll sort Curtis out. Curtis says, good luck with that.

Kim tells Elizabeth, whoever she is, she’s welcome to him. Julian is all hers.

Julian tells Alexis. it’s still raw. He doesn’t want to talk right now, and Alexis says, if it’s any consolation, whatever happened can’t be worse than what happened with them. She never wanted to see him again. The point is, here she is wanting what’s best for him, so maybe there’s hope for them.

Maxie meets Chet, and tells him that his text was intriguing; an unexpected development. Chet says he might be moving back to Port Charles. She asks when that happened, and he says a half hour ago when he was hired to run this place. She says, he’ll be working for Sonny? and he says, starting tomorrow. He knows the stories, but everyone exaggerates, don’t they? Maxie says, Sonny has his good side, but if he offers a promotion to work in his coffee warehouse, say no.

Mike thinks he should have gone with Sonny, but Stella thinks it’s best to sit and wait it out. She tells him, have some coffee, and he says she could have been a drill sergeant.

Sonny approaches Marcus at Turning Woods.

Kristina asks if Sam and Jason are gone, and tells Shiloh, sorry. He asks, why? and she says they were patronizing to her and rude to him. He says he was referring to her behavior. He doesn’t get it. They didn’t bring anger; the negativity came from within her. It doesn’t have to be that way; the way she chose to deal with them. He can teach her a different way to interface with the world around her, and teach her to be free of negativity. She asks, how? and he tells her, stick around. She might find out.

Jason tells Sam at least they got a look at Kristina’s living situation and relationship with the guy running the place. Sam says, Kristina practically worships him. Jason thinks Kristina is using Shiloh’s words, not hers. Sam says, too good to be true? and Jason says, he’s neither good nor true.

Lucy tells Scotty that she’s surprised Serena didn’t call her. He says she was going to call when she got home. Lucy can’t think of a time she ever heard a harsh word from Gail, although she gave Gail plenty of motivation. Scotty says, so did he, and Monica says, her too. Lucy says Gail was bedeviled in her life by her loved ones. Monica says, and she was gracious, but even saints can vent once in a while. Lucy wonders who they think gave Gail the most heartache. Scotty says, not him, and Monica says, not her. Lucy says, don’t look at her, and they all say, Tracy. Lucy says she’s going to miss Gail so much.

Alexis comes by the table, offering her condolences. She tells them Gail had called to change her will after Lee passed. Lucy asks if it can’t wait, but Alexis says she has to get the word out. Gail’s bequest involves them, among others.

Tomorrow, Chase instructs the self-defense class, Sonny asks Marcus to do what’s best for Yvonne, and not-Doc wants to make his intentions known.

🍲 Since Top Chef got bumped down to 8 pm, I missed most of it, but Tom thought it was the most difficult restaurant wars ever. The red team won $10K each (courtesy of Bluprint), with team leader Brian getting kudos for his chicken dish. Pablo and Nene had to pack their knives and go. IMO, both of them were a little whiny on their way to Last Chance Kitchen.

💰 The new season of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles began tonight. The Joshes are back to plague one another, along with James, David, and Tracy.

What I Watched Today

General Hospital

I missed the first minute or so. I swear, I could get up at the crack of dawn, and I’d still be running late.

Cameron asks Oscar how he’s feeling. Oscar says, not great but also not horrific. Cameron ask if there’s anything he can do, but Oscar says there’s not much anyone can do until they know how the trial is going. Cameron gets a text: Meet me in Charlie’s parking lot. Bring $$.

Franco brings the brownies to the hospital. He sees Josslyn and asks if he wants one. She asks what inspired him to bake them, and he says Cameron baked them; for the bake sale at school. She asks, what bake sale?

Sonny tells Carly they should take his dad home before he gets fuzzier. Carly says he’s a little preoccupied; give them minute. Marcus walks in as Mike kisses Yvonne. Marcus asks what Mike thinks he’s doing, and gets in Mike’s face. Sonny steps between them. He knows Marcus is upset, but asks him to back off. Mike says he can take care of himself. A staff member comes in, and asks if there’s a problem, but Sonny says it’s just a misunderstanding. They can take care of it. Marcus says this is totally unacceptable. Carly understands, and promises they’ll figure it out. Yvonne says Mike is her boyfriend; they’re going steady. She says he gave her this, and shows them her hospital bracelet. Marcus takes her aside.

Lulu tells Charlotte to go look at the tree, and Charlotte figures that means they want to talk about her. Elizabeth is shocked that Charlotte is the one who’s been bullying Aiden. Laura says she figured it out after she talked to Aiden, then talked to Lulu. Lulu says she and Valentin told Charlotte under no uncertain term I was unacceptable, and just plain wrong. Charlotte is very sorry, and wants Aiden to know that. Elizabeth is having a hard time processing. Why would Charlotte be so mean to him? Lulu isn’t sure. Charlotte said he’s different and sensitive, and that she was trying to help him. Elizabeth asks how? Why does she thinks he needs to fit in? Lulu isn’t sure, and Laura says now that it’s out in the open, maybe he’ll tell them more.

Jason tells Danny, maybe his mom can explain. She knows better about Santa. Danny asks if this is like Halloween, where Jason didn’t remember stuff because of his accident. Sam tells Danny that sometimes Santa and his elves need extra help. That’s how every kid in the world gets presents. Danny says, so he’s like an elf? and she says, he’s Santa’s helper – and Santa notices.

Franco tells Josslyn, it’s the drama club bake sale. Josslyn says she hasn’t heard about it. Why would Cameron be baking something? He’s not in the drama club. It would conflict with his soccer practice. Maybe he’s trying to be nice. Franco says, so she knows nothing about the bake sale or Cameron being affiliated with the drama club? Josslyn says she’s been out of touch. She’s been with Oscar, and been busy with school, so she doesn’t know either.

Sam suggests a visit to Santa. Danny asks if she means just her and him, or all three of them. Jason tells Sam if he wants him there, he’ll go, and Sam says they’ll talk later. Danny asks if dad is coming home with them. Sam looks at Jason, and says, yes? Jason says, yes, and Danny says, it’s the best day ever. He wishes they could always be like this.

Marcus tells Yvonne that all residents wear a bracelet; for safety reasons. The two of them wear wedding bands for the love they share. They live together. Mike asks Sonny if it’s true Yvonne is married. She doesn’t know this man. Sonny knows it’s hard, and Mike says he doesn’t know a damn thing.

Marcus tells Sonny that his father was kissing his wife. Sonny says his father didn’t know; his memory is diminishing. Marcus insists Mike is manipulating Yvonne, and has no respect or regard for their marriage. He wants her for himself, plain and simple.

Back at Sam’s place, Jason tells Sam that she has to tell him what Scout and Danny want. She says he doesn’t have to buy all of the kids gifts. Her phone dings, and Jason asks if she’s waiting for something important. She looks at her phone, and he says, not it? She says, no, and he asks if she wants to talk about it. She says, what? and he says, what’s bothering her. She seems flustered. It must be important.

Elizabeth tells Aiden that Charlotte has something important to say to him. Aiden wants to go back to his room, but she says it’s important he hear Charlotte out. Charlotte says she’s sorry she hurt his feelings. She didn’t mean to. She thought he would get along better if she told him what to do. She was kidding sometimes, but she guesses he didn’t think it was funny. There’s no excuse, and she was wrong. Lulu asks if he accepts her apology.

On the phone, Franco says he’s calling on behalf of Cameron’s mother, and wonders if he could speak to someone in the drama department.

Cameron texts: Told u deal’s off. He tells Oscar it’s nothing important. Oscar wasn’t paying attention anyway, and apologizes if he nods off in the middle of a sentence; the treatment makes him tired. Cameron says he’s forgiven. Josslyn comes back, and Oscar asks why she didn’t tell him that he snores. She says, he doesn’t – much. Josslyn asks Cameron if he joined drama club. Oscar laughs, and Cameron says he can be dramatic. Josslyn tells Cameron that Franco said he’d baked brownies for a drama club bake sale. Cameron asks where Franco is, and Josslyn says, outside, with the brownies. She grabbed one for Oscar. She hopes he doesn’t mind.

Sam tells Jason, the fact that he picked up on it, is an indication that she’s more worried than she’d like to admit. She asks if he remembers a con she used to run. She would marry older guys, using an alias, wipe out their accounts, and disappear. He says, yeah, and she says, someone who knows tracked her down.

Josslyn says the brownies must be delicious. It’s the most she’s seen Oscar eat. Oscar wishes he felt hungry, and Josslyn asks what the secret is. Cameron says he used a family recipe – enjoy. He’s got to find Franco, and tell him that he’s confused about a couple of things. He leaves.

Out by the nurses’ station, Franco tells Cameron that he ran out so quick, he forgot these, showing him the plate of brownies. Cameron says Oscar ate a couple of nibbles, so that’s good. Franco says he’s confused. Laura was under the impression that Cameron made them for a drama club bake sale. Cameron says that’s what he told her that he was doing. He gets a text: Don’t care if u don’t want merch <weed emoji>. Still want $. Waiting for u.

Carly tells Marcus, no one is in control, least of all Mike and Yvonne; they both have Alzheimer’s. It’s painful and horrible, but they can make it more bearable by showing each other compassion. Marcus says the only compassion he has is for his wife. He leads Yvonne away. Sonny tells Mike that he has to talk to him about something. Yvonne asks Marcus if she did something wrong. There was mistletoe. Is she going to get kicked out for kissing? She starts to cry, but he tells her that she’ not in trouble. He just wanted show her something. It’s their wedding picture. She’s his wife, and has been for thirty years. Sonny tells Mike, the thing is, that’s Yvonne’s husband. Mike tells Sonny, she didn’t say she was marred. Carly says she doesn’t think Yvonne remembers. Mike says he didn’t know, and Sonny says maybe he wanted to forget. Mike asks if Sonny thinks he forgot on purpose to make time with Yvonne? Is that how little Sonny thinks of him?

Jason looks at Leland’s obituary. Sam says Curtis is investigating some interesting stuff. There’s nothing definitive, but the email address attached to the paper is under the name of one of her own aliases, Linda Black. Jason says someone is messing with her; did she reach out? She says she emailed, but hasn’t heard back. Jason asks if that’s why she keeps checking her phone. Sam hates to look back on that part of her life. Jason says she’s not that person anymore. She’s learned from it and moved on. Whoever is behind it, they’ll deal with them. If somebody is trying to shake her down or hurt her, they’ll stop them. Sam tells him, easy. She doesn’t know if they have an agenda. She’s not afraid; she’s more annoyed. Jason asks how long it’s been since she reached out, and she says, yesterday. It’s already taken too much of her time. She’s not attaching her phone to her hip. Jason says they’re making her wait on purpose to get in her head. Sam says she’s not playing their games because she can’t be controlled, especially when she has important business to conduct. Jason asks, what would that be? and they gaze at one another.

Marcus shows Yvonne pictures, and asks if she knows the people. She says, they’re his friends? He says, their friends. They were so young; maybe that’s why she doesn’t recognize them. He tells her to look closely, and asks if she recognizes the guy next to her. She says, it’s him. How could she not? Her big brother. He puts his arm around her.

Sonny tells Mike that he’s not trying to make him feel bad; he wants what’s best. Carly says they believe him. Mike says they think he pretends to forget. Sonny says he’s done it before. In September, when the DA and the commissioner was breathing down Sonny’s back. Mike says he doesn’t know what Sonny is talking about. Carly tells Mike that she thinks Sonny doesn’t want anyone feeling hurt any more than they already are. Yvonne doesn’t remember she’s married. It has to be hard on Marcus, and tough on Yvonne. Maybe Mike could remind her that she’s married if she forgets. She knows Yvonne cares for Mike. Mike says he can’t remember anything for her, or even himself. Trying to hold on to facts, is like trying hold on to snowflakes. Yvonne wants Mike to take her back to her room. Marcus follows.

Lulu asks Charlotte what else she has to say. Charlotte says she won’t tease Aiden. She promises. She’s done trying to change him. He says, okay, and she asks if that’s all he can say. She just apologized, but he didn’t say he forgave her. Lulu asks, how about it? Charlotte sincerely apologized. Aiden accepts Charlotte’s apology, and she thanks him. He ask if he can go, and when Elizabeth says he can, he jets.   Charlotte asks Lulu if she and her papa are proud of her now. Lulu says she’s proud, and knows Charlotte’s papa would be too. Laura says it’s big of her, and it’s appreciated so much. It’s important to take responsibility for our actions. Elizabeth agrees, and thanks her. Charlotte is glad she made Aiden feel better.

Oscar asks Josslyn about volleyball practice. She says he must be tired of her hovering all the time. Just ignore her. She’s not trying to smother him, but it’s hard; she loves him so much. She promises to do better. Oscar doesn’t mind, but he hates her worrying so much. She gets it. She gets annoyed when people are worried. She asks if he remembers when her mom was in Ferncliff, and he was worried? Now she sees it from the other end.

Cameron tells Franco that he did bake them for the drama club. Not because he’s in it. There’s a really cute girl, kind of artsy – in a good way – who told him about the bake sale. He thought he’d help out. Franco says he brought them to the school, and he knows there’s no bake sale. Cameron says, that’s the problem. The artsy girl is kind of weird, and wasn’t clear. They were just thinking about having a bake sale, so he baked them for nothing. At least Oscar got a bite. Franco asks Cameron if he’s nervous. Cameron says he has somewhere to be, and jets. Franco sees that Cameron forgot his phone, and calls after him, but Cameron is gone. Franco struggles with himself, then looks at it. He sees texts, and says, oh, dude.

Oscar says they’re good brownies. Is she sure she doesn’t want some. He can’t believe Cameron baked them for him. Josslyn says Cameron is deeper than people give credit for, especially Cameron himself. I’m just going to say it. Either there is no weed in the brownies, Cameron didn’t know how to bake them right, or no one realizes they’re high.

Aiden asks Elizabeth if Charlotte is gone. She asks if he wants to talk about anything, but he says, no thanks. She asks if it’s okay if she talks; it’s kind of important to her. He says, okay. She says she wants make sure he knows that he doesn’t have to be embarrassed. If someone is making him feel bad, he has Franco and his brothers to talk to. She loves him, and wants take care of him. He says he can take care of himself, and she says she knows that, but they have his back too. He’s the most wonderful boy with the biggest heart. Never let anyone tell him different. They cuddle, and she tells him that she loves him. She says it’s over now, and everything’s going to be okay. Aiden says, yeah, but doesn’t seem convincing. He runs upstairs.

Carly tells Marcus that they’re sorry about what happened earlier. Sonny asks where his father is, and Marcus says, in the screening room. He wasn’t about to put his wife in jeopardy, sitting in a dark room with Mike. Sonny says Marcus has to believe Mike didn’t know. Carly says maybe they should talk to Stella. With her insight, she’ll know what to do. Marcus hopes she has answers. He’ll be around more, so they’ll both remember who he is. Sonny knows he’s upset, but it’s a helluva thing. Marcus leaves, and Carly thinks they should take Mike home to watch the movie. They have the DVD, and they could all use some Christmas spirit.

Sam tells Jason, in the interest of teaching Danny the spirit of giving, she has something special. She goes upstairs, and Jason looks at the tree. He flashes back to when we were all a lot younger, and he and Sam brought home a Christmas tree. He tells her that she’s the only one who could go to the tree lot, determined get the biggest tree in the world, and get this. She says she felt sorry for it. It needs love, just like her. Sam comes back down, showing Jason a stocking with DADDY in glitter on the fur. Jason says it’s amazing. He wants to thank Danny, but she says, that’s the catch. Jason isn’t supposed to know it’s from him. She’s trying to teach him true generosity doesn’t expect anything in return. He tells her, the daddy part is a dead giveaway. She loves seeing Jason happy. Last Christmas, everything was muddled. Now, the kids are comfortable, and here he is. She was wondering if he could take a small part of his day and spend part of Christmas wit them. He says, of course. She tells him that he never says what he wants, and it’s impossible to figure out; Jason says he’ll prove it’s not impossible. What he wants for Christmas is just to spend the day with her.

Lulu and Charlotte go for ice cream. Lulu asks if Charlotte feels better, now that she apologized. Charlotte is glad she could be nice. Lulu is sure Aiden is happy that he won’t be bullied anymore, and Charlotte says, not by her, but there are other kids who think he’s weird too.

Aiden plays a video game. At the end, it says, you’re a loser Aiden. He closes the laptop.

Back at home, Franco looks at the phone. Elizabeth comes in. He says he needs to tell her something, but she’s not going to like it.

Cameron waits outside Charlie’s. He realizes his phone is gone.

Josslyn knows Cameron wants to help Oscar. Oscar thinks Cameron wants him well so he can kick his butt. Josslyn says the one time, Oscar beat Cameron up. Oscar says he was too embarrassed to admit it, but when Cameron said it was a sucker punch, he was right. Josslyn says it was stupid, and Oscar says it wasn’t. They were fighting over her. She says, exactly. It’s not up to them who she chooses. It’s up to her, and she chose him. She kisses him.

Carly tells the desk that Mike was supposed to be in the screening room. Sonny says he’s not there. The guy at the desk (the same guy who asked if everything was okay – apparently, they’re understaffed) says they’ll track him down. Marcus comes in, and says Yvonne isn’t in her room, but her bracelet was.

Sam says, Jason’s Christmas wish is to spend the day with her? He says, that’s it, and she says she doesn’t know how to fit it in the stocking. She says he might be more specific, and Jason says it’s up to her. They don’t have to do anything special. They can do whatever she wants for the kids. They don’t have to do anything extra for him. Just being with her, making breakfast, going for a walk, putting the toys together; whatever, as long as he’s with her. It’s the perfect present. Sam thinks that can be arranged. They get thisclose to kissing, and we’re out.

Tomorrow, Franco tells Elizabeth he has news she’s not going to like, Jordan asks Margaux if she’s defending Sonny, and Sam hears from “Linda Black.”

Vanderpump Rules

James says he’s a star. Katie tells him to pull up his pants. He says she shouldn’t be wearing those shorts; they’re not very flattering. As he walks away, he says, lose some effing weight. Kristen says she’s sober, but ready for a drink. Raquel tells Scheana that she doesn’t know what to believe. Hope isn’t a reliable source. Scheana doesn’t know what to believe either. In her interview, she says Hope isn’t to be trusted, but James cheats all the time. Raquel thinks he broke Hope’s heart, so now Hope is coming for her. In Scheana’s interview, she thinks Hope is exaggerating, but she’s not saying she’s lying. She adores Raquel. She’s new, and Scheana feels the need to be big sis. She tells Raquel that she doesn’t know what’s true.

Lisa walks down the street, hoping things are going as well at the other end. She gets to SUR, and asks Jax why the line is so long. He says they want to see her. Raquel talks to Hope. In her interview, Raquel doesn’t know what to do. If she believes James, she has to stand up for her boyfriend, but if she believes Hope, she has to break up with him. She asks Hope what went down at Coachella, and Hope says that was a minimal part of the big picture. James would tell her that he and Raquel weren’t really together. They had a falling out in November, and Hope thinks it was because he was afraid Raquel would find out. She’s been sleeping with him for years. She thinks Raquel is a beautiful person with a good heart. James is a horrible person, and Raquel isn’t. Raquel wants more proof. Because she is also a clueless person.

Stassi orders drinks from Jax. He asks what’s going on, and she tells him what James said. She says he’s said ridiculous sh*t to all of them. James blows in, demanding a lemon drop and a Pumptini. Stassi tells him to get out, and Billie carts him off, as he makes a suggestion about a dildo to Stassi. Stassi says she wishes. In her interview, Stassi says, if you took a bad James Bond villain, made him all sweaty and drunk on Fireball, and he was played by an emaciated Muppet, he would be less annoying than James Kennedy.

Lisa sees James, and tells him, don’t be drinking. He wants to know where Raquel is. In Lisa’s interview, she says he seems agitated and frenetic. Sometimes it’s best to let things be. If she talks to him right now, they’ll end up in a bloody row. She tells Raquel that James is on the edge. Raquel asks if he’s been drinking. Lisa says he has, and tells her to make sure he doesn’t have another sip. She’s sorry for the pressure, but she doesn’t want to deal with him.

Raquel tells James that Hope claimed she slept with him multiple times. He says, lies. Next. Raquel asks if he would tell her, and he says, tell that whore to go screw herself. Raquel says he’s getting way angry. In her interview, Raquel says she’s sick of girls walking in with accusations, saying they slept with her boyfriend. My advice is, get a new boyfriend, but she says the bottom line is, she wants to stay with James.

Lying on the couch, Schwartz asks Katie why they do it to themselves. Those half shots add up. Why do half shots when you do double the amount? Katie runs a blender, and he’s like, please, my head. She does it again, and he says he can’t take all that healthiness. Katie says Pride was intense. Schwartz says he loved Pride. She says it was fun until James got drunk, and tells him what James said. She says James looked at her body in disgust, and Schwartz says James has anger management issues. He went off on everyone. Katie says, she’s not okay with it. It can’t keep happening. In her interview, she says she’s not going to feel bad just because James feels rage, and has the gumption (yes, she used that word) to say gross words. We flash back for the second time. Schwartz says he’d give her a hug, but he can’t move. She comes over to him. He gets up, and he’s wearing a housedress. He says, it’s a mumu day, and he’s sorry James is an effing a-hole.

James puts together piece of furniture. Raquel says Pride was hectic. James says it was so much fun, then it was like he got hit by a bus. He thinks it’s bullsh*t the way they come for him. Raquel thinks it’s more like they came for her. In his interview, James claims he hasn’t had sex with Hope since he’s been with Raquel. Raquel says she’d want to know if he cheated. James’s phone rings. It’s Peter, who has to disinvite James to his birthday party. The way he was acting in the parking lot isn’t conducive to tonight. In James’s interview, he says it feels horrible. He guesses too much booze led to consequences. He tells Peter, happy birthday, and hopes he has a great night. Raquel says, actions have consequences. Remember that. He says it snuck up on him; Tom’s drinks don’t taste like alcohol. The next thing he knew, he was wasted. Raquel says she doesn’t love the guy he becomes when the drinking gets out of hand. She doesn’t want him to get fired, and Lisa wasn’t happy when she saw him. In her interview, Raquel says she wants him to stop drinking completely. Good luck with that.

Harrison! Lisa goes into SUR before hours, and Peter says Pride was a success. Teddi Mellencamp joins her, and Lisa introduces Teddi to Peter. Teddi says she hasn’t seen Lisa since… Lisa says it’s easier if she doesn’t talk about it. In her interview, Lisa says, normally, she knows how to cope, but since her brother passed away she doesn’t know how handle daily life. At first, she was a mess, and didn’t want to go out Teddi asks if Lisa remembers meeting her brother. He wants to officially move to L.A., and she was wondering if he could get an interview. He needs to make money, but also needs to meet people. Lisa asks Peter if they don’t need barbacks or bussers, and Peter says they can always use an extra hand. In a few years, her brother could be like him. He leaves, and Lisa says she’s sure if he’s related to Teddi, she’ll like him. She tells Teddi that she misses her brother. Teddi is sorry, and Lisa asks how many siblings Teddi has; it was just her and her brother. Teddi says there are five. She tells Lisa that she’s a good person; a kind person. Her brother knew how much he was loved, and it had nothing to do with her. In Lisa’s interview, she says she took a few weeks, but maybe it wasn’t long enough. Unexpected feelings surface, and she has to deal with it and keep going. She doesn’t really want to talk about it. I totally get the unexpected feelings. Grief can strike at odd moments. She tells Teddi that she’s happy to meet her brother and give him an interview.

Time for the birthday party. Scheana walks in with Adam. In her interview, Britanny says it’s surprising, after Scheana tried to hook her and Adam. Although she thought Scheana liked him, so not that surprising. Tom’s dad, Tony, joins the crowd. In Jax’s interview, he says that he loves hanging out with Tony. He never looks at him like Tom’s dad. He’s like one of the guys, and doesn’t look like a dad. The guys wonder who taught who to pose, and Tony mimics Tom’s squinting into the sun. He says he brought five pairs of shoes, and Tom is giving him sh*t for it. Kristen brings in a bunch of balloons. Peter arrives. Schwartz tries to inhale helium, and the balloon breaks, popping in his face.

Brittany asks for Scheana’s input about James. Scheana thinks Hope and James hooked up, but she’s not sure if Hope is telling the truth. She goes back and forth so much, Stassi wants her to clarify. Scheana says she’s always wanted to act like everything is okay when it’s not, but she’s not doing that anymore. In her interview, Stassi says she just flip-flopped on flip-flopping. Stassi tells Scheana that she wants to make sure everyone is happy with her, but it bites her in the ass. It makes everyone bitter because Scheana has no loyalty to anyone.

Peter tells Jax that he has good news. Lisa wants to put him back on the schedule. Peter jokes that Jax needs to pay off the ring. Jax says he needs more than that, but it will be a start. He hopes he remembers how to make a Pumptini. Ariana tells Stassi their party has to be ten times better. In her interview, Stassi says she always liked Ariana. Ariana is the one who didn’t like her. We flash back to Ariana being an insensitive a-hole and totally rude to Stassi for no reason. Stassi tells us that it was pretty easy to be friends. She just went to all the same parties and events, and followed Ariana everywhere. Either she was forced to take out a restraining order, or give in. It’s like stalking 101. In Ariana’s interview, she says she gave up wasting the energy it took to not be Stassi’s friend. They pinky swear, and hug. Scheana is worried she’s going to be on the outs. Ariana is one of her best friends, but she doesn’t know where she stands.

Tom makes drinks. Katie wants to have a girls’ night, without Scheana. Ariana thinks Scheana will be disappointed to not be included, but Katie says they don’t hang out with her. Katie is on a positive road with herself, and doesn’t want to be backsliding. Ariana says she doesn’t see Scheana as much as she used to. In her interview, Ariana says if Scheana isn’t invited, it’s up to her to work it out with them. She’s a big girl. Stassi says they’ve tried it all to be friends with Scheana. It’s on her.

Brittany and Jax go to a cheese shop. Brittany explains that she wants to make beer cheese. It’s a concoction from Kentucky, and she’s bringing it to L.A. It’s her mamaw’s recipe, and she grew up on it. It’s normally made with cheddar, but she wants to mess around with it. She’s going to make some test batches. The cheese concierge, or whatever he is, brings over a plate of different cheeses for them to try.

Jax tells Brittany that he likes it at SUR, and he’s glad to have his job back. Plus, he’ll be working with her. She tells him about the girls’ night, saying they’re going for Hollywood glamour. He says he’s going to be hanging with the guys. She feels sad for Raquel, and Jax says she looks dumb. Brittany isn’t comparing James and Raquel to them, because Jax told her truth, and James will never admit it. In Brittany’s interview, she says she int knows how it feels to be new in town, and have people questioning your relationship. We flash back to Stassi asking her, what if she’s wasting her best years? Brittany doesn’t want Raquel to go it alone. She wants to make sure Raquel knows she can be strong, stand up, and say he can’t do that. Jax says it’s bad when you can’t go anywhere without someone wanting to kick your ass. In his interview, Jax doesn’t see that James wants to change. He thinks he wanted to be better, but James doesn’t want it. Brittany calls Raquel to invite her, and Raquel says it would be awesome. Jax’s eyes bug out.

Jax asks what’s in a vodka and grapefruit. James wonders how they survived without him, when he has to be reminded how to make a two-ingredient drink. Tom comes in with Tony. In Jax’s interview, he says they have a different computer system and there are different bartenders, but he knows how to do his job. He doesn’t think anyone is looking at him under a microscope. Tony, Tom, and Schwartz sit down. Jax joins them, and Schwartz says he’s irritated. James is a complete a-hole, and insinuated Katie was fat. Jax corrects him, saying fat whore. Tony says he has to nip it in the bud. In his interview, schwartz says he’s not good at confrontations, but James insulted the love of his life, so reluctantly, he’s going to have to put his foot down.

James starts apologizing the second he sees Schwartz. He say he has no excuse; he’s a twenty-six year old man, and he’s embarrassed. Schwartz says James crossed the line. Katie isn’t fat; she’s sexy and luscious. Ooh. Much better than the usual curvy. In his interview, James says everyone is blowing it up into a humongous thing; bigger than her. What is wrong with this dude? He tells Schwartz what he did was disgusting, and he’s so sorry. He drank too much, and when he’s drunk, he goes for the jugular. Schwartz suggests he get some self-awareness, and get it together.

The girls meet all dressed up. in her interview, Stassi says it’s the perfect girls’ night; stiff drinks, outfits on point, and she doesn’t have to struggle to listen and talk over the sound of Scheana’s nails tapping on her phone all night.

Guys’ night is at Schwartz and Katie’s. Schwartz is making dinner when Tom comes in. Tom tells him that it’s one thing to be behind the bar, and another to have your own shaker. He gives a metal shaker to Schwartz, who says it looks like a sex toy, but he likes it. Jax comes in on his cooler scooter, which Tom thought he’d retired. He passes out beer, and tells the guys that he and Brittany are business owners. They’re starting a cheese company. Schwartz brings out the cheese-filled steaks he’s been cooking, and Tome says he still has PTSD. We flash back to the time Schwartz served Jax and Tom steaks that had been in his butt crack. Tom says, the steaks were really good though.

Brittany tells the other girls about inviting Raquel. Kristen thinks maybe her getting away can help her to figure it out. Brittany tells them that Raquel said she was coming. Stassi and Katie are like, whoa. Truth. I don’t get what these girls see in James. He has beautiful eyes, but other than that <noise like you got a wrong answer on a game show>. He’s scrawny, and his music is only okay. I’m not even a huge Kanye fan, and I can tell you that he’s certainly not the white Kanye. Ariana says Raquel doesn’t have any girlfriends, and Brittany says without them, she would have broken down. In her interview, Brittany says the only way she got through it was because she had a great group of girlfriends. know smile through it and dying inside might bring redneck out in her

Raquel arrives, wearing a jean jacket over a glam, sparkly fringed dress, and I can’t decide whether I like it or not. Kristen asks if James still has a job. Katie asks who needs to pee, and Kristen and Stassi go with her. To a bar on the other side of the room. Brittany tells Raquel that she wanted to check on her. Katie tells Stassi that she’s curious how Raquel feels about James being so derogatory towards women. Brittany asks Raquel if James was freaking out because she was going to be with them. Raquel says he was anxious, thinking it was going to be an ambush. Brittany says she wouldn’t let that happen, and Ariana say no one wants her to feel like she’s being attacked. Brittany asks if Raquel is aware that James has done some sh*tty sh*t. Ariana say Jax was the same way, and Brittany says she’s been there. She doesn’t want Raquel to be blind like she was. Raquel says it’s when he drinks. He doesn’t remember the conversation. He becomes a different person. In Brittany’s interview, she says that it’s easier for Raquel to believe James just has a drinking problem, to cover up the other problems. She’s not buying it. Katie and the others come back. Katie asks if Raquel knows that James made another rude comment to her. He goes as low as possible, and wants to hurt her. Kristen says he has a sh*tty temper when he’s sober. They hope he isn’t doing that to Raquel, and Raquel says, not unless he’s had way, way, way too much to drink. In Stassi’s interview, she says she felt put down all the time in her last relationship. She was blinded by what she thought was love. She wanted to make it work, and couldn’t see it for what it was. Raquel says she doesn’t want him to drink at all. Stassi say she doesn’t know Raquel very well, but as an outsider, taking in all these stories, it’s not good. Raquel says they don’t see the James she sees. They only see the guy who’s going out, partying, and getting drunk. It’s not a good side of him, but the James she sees, treats her like a queen. In Katie’s interview, she feels like she’s living in a Twilight Zone world, where monsters are able to do and say whatever they want. She tells the other girls that it’s making her not feel good about going to work. She’s talking to Lisa. This has to effing end.

Katie asks to talk to Lisa. Lisa asks if she’s okay. She says she is. Lisa asks if she has reason to be scared, and Katie says she doesn’t think so. They sit, and Katie says she was out back during a break at Pride. James came be, clearly drunk, and she told him to fix his pants. He gave her a disgusting stare, and said she should not be wearing those shorts. She’s fat. She says it was disgusting; he was so derogatory. Lisa doesn’t want Katie questioning how beautiful she is, since there was a time it would have affected her that way. She says James is in an idiot. Katie says, he gets away with abusive language toward women. In Katie’s interview, she says James has hurt and offended almost every person who works at SUR. We flash back to several clips of that. She tells us that his comment was the last and final straw.

Katie tells Lisa that she can’t show up at work and be subject to that kind of language. If he’s speaking to her like that, he’ll say it to anyone. Lisa didn’t realize the level and extent to which he was rude and ignorant. She saw him drunk at Pride, but chose not to deal with it. He was riding high, loving himself, doing his DJ thing. She glad Katie told her, and says she’ll deal with him. In her interview, Lisa says she doesn’t like anything that makes women feel less. She wants a place where people come to make money, has a joie de vivre, and where people can have a fantastic night. The people who work there don’t want to be insulted. Katie wants to know what Lisa is going to do, but Lisa says she doesn’t know yet. Katie says SUR has been her home and family for almost nine years, but she won’t work in a place where this is tolerated. Lisa asks if it’s an old tomato ultimatum. Katie says she’s only made one in her life – to Schwartz. We flash back to when she gave him six months to put a ring on it or she was moving on with her life. She says, and it worked. So maybe this is an ultimatum.

Next time, interviews for the TomTom staff, Ariana and Stassi plan their party, Lala tells Raquel to wake up. Lisa asks James who the eff he thinks he is, and as usual, James cries.

General Hospital

Anna walks in to find Faison holding a gun on Finn, who’s chained to the banister. He calls Finn Anna’s new love, but she says that’s not the case. Faison doesn’t give a damn what he is. He’ll blow his head off if she doesn’t put the gun down. Finn tells her not to do it, and Faison tells him to shut up. She sets the gun on the floor, and kicks it over.

Franco sits at his easel in the art therapy room. Ava asks if his muse has returned. He tells her that his wedding is weeks away, and he’s again a shining disappointment to Elizabeth.

Officer Shane sweeps Nathan and Maxie’s apartment. Maxie tells the baby they need the WSB, FBI, CIA, and all the alphabet agencies to find its psycho grandfather. This might be her new normal, but it’s not what she wants for the baby.

Nathan writes “Henrik” on the blank page representing his brother. He thinks maybe Henrik is acting in self-defense. The only thing worse than being Faison’s enemy, is being someone he cares about.

Faison says Anna will do anything to keep Finn alive, and calls her stupid.

Doc tells Elizabeth the good news is that Spencer has a clean break in both legs, and he’s on the mend. Elizabeth can’t believe it was both legs, and Doc says Spencer has a well-deserved reputation for going to extremes, but at least he has a loving grandmother there to help. Elizabeth is disappointed Laura had to drop out of the mayoral race. Doc says she even tried to get him to take her place, but in the end, she needed to be with Spencer. He misses her already, but has an exciting new project. He tells Elizabeth that he’s psyched, and laughs at his own joke. He’s working on the pathology of psychopaths, and the connection between the medical condition and the tendency toward violence. Elizabeth asks to hear more.

Franco is making out his guest list, but only has Kiki and Scotty on it. He tells Ava that Elizabeth is the darling of Port Charles, and will have tons of people on her side of the church, where there will be no one on his. He doesn’t want to look back on a lopsided church. He was thinking of calling his mom, but his mom and his happiness have a weird relationship. Ava says she might have a work around, and he asks if she has some community theatre actors who can pretend to be his friends. She suggests inviting her. No one knows better what it’s like to fight for happiness.

Griff asks Kiki how it feels surviving her tests? She’s not very enthusiastic, and he asks if this is her being happy. She says no, this is her the day after a new girlfriend answers her boyfriend’s phone. At first, she thought she had the wrong number, but Dillon called back, apologizing. He told her long distance wasn’t working for him. Griff says just last month they were meeting up. Kiki says he was clearly overcompensating to ease his guilt. If they’d made it to Nebraska, they would have broken up. They’re like a cliché; she’s too busy with her studies, and he’s with the girls on the set. She chose med school, and he chose someone else. Griff calls him a fool, and says Dillon doesn’t deserve her.

Nathan calls Maxie to check on her. She tells him that Shane is totally diligent and super nice, but it’s extra awkward. Nathan tells her it’s only until they catch Faison. She asks if there’s any chance he can come home early, and do some hands-on protecting. Shane tells Maxie that Amy is there. Amy tells her that she has news about the baby.

Dante wants a better statement about the disturbance in front of Anna’s house, and tells Nathan he’s sending a black and white over. Peter comes into the station, and tells them, nice work with the protests; they’ve managed to keep things from boiling over. He thought they might want further information on Faison. The paper has been flooded with tips. Hopefully, one pans out.

Faison tells Anna that he’ll kill Finn if she doesn’t cooperate. He takes her hand, and calls her beautiful. She says she thought he was done with her, but he says there’s no other man with greater passion for her. She says, she made him angry last time, and he says she tried. He whispers to her, and kisses her cheek. She asks what he wants, and he tells her, lots of things, but she’s the first one on the list.

Ava tells Franco that she knows about redemption and the pursuit thereof. They’re both seen as pariahs, but they changed. If some people don’t want to give them a second chance, tough; they’re no one to judge. She tells him to focus on the people who genuinely wish him well. If it’s just three of them, then they’ll be extra loud when he walks Elizabeth down the aisle. He asks if she ever looks over her shoulder to past transgressions, or worries that she’ll screw up. She tells him all the time. If he looks back, he’ll be consumed by doubts and regrets, and drown in them, so just look forward to the future with Elizabeth and the boys. She tells him to get the tux, buy the champagne, and kiss the bride. Give himself permission to be happy

Doc tells Elizabeth that he believes there are gaps in literature about psychotics. There might be physical reasons that drive the impulse to murder. If they can pinpoint a medical reason, they might be able to stop the damage to the brain, and stop the tendency of psychotic impulses. Elizabeth thinks it sounds fascinating, and knows the perfect subject – Franco.

Amy asks Maxie if the guard is there because of the article, and if they’re in danger. Maxie says Nathan has it under control, but they’re taking extra precautions. She asks why Amy came over, and Amy tells her that she sold the production rights to Ask Man Landers. It’s a tidy sum, and she and Chet agreed to share the proceeds. If Nathan hadn’t agreed to help, there wouldn’t have been a Man Landers. Maxie says he won’t accept it, but Amy tells her to open the envelope. They put it in a trust fund for the baby.

Nathan asks Dante if there’s anything they can use. Dante says there are messages from London to Pittsburgh, and those are just eyewitness accounts. There are letters to Faison’s son as well. Peter says people often write what they can’t express, either for therapeutic reasons or to hide behind anonymity, like the trolls on the internet. People hurt by their parents are urging him to avoid his father. He says he’s not trying to bond. He’s thankful his mother hid him, but things are different now. He has to think like a father and protect his child. He needs to find Faison, and lock him up for good.

Faison tells Anna that she’s a dangerous woman, especially when comes to men’s hearts. He wonders if she told Finn who she is and what she’s done. She says, no, why not let him believe a fairy tale? She says that woman doesn’t exist with clean hands, and a spotless past, without him. Faison asks what he should do with Finn, and she says she’ll do it, and whacks Finn in the head with a trinket box from the table, knocking him out. Faison tells her not to cry. She says she’s not, but tears roll down her cheeks.

Kiki says she turned Dillon down when he asked her to come to Morocco; who does that? Griff says someone serious about med school. He says that she doesn’t need his support anymore. She’s standing on her own two feet, but Dillon is absent to see that. She says she’s risking everything based on hope and a prayer, and that doesn’t include getting through it and becoming a doctor. Griff says he has a friend on the admissions board, and congratulations; she got into med school.

Ava tells Franco to write down Griff as her plus one. Franco asks if they’re really coming to the wedding as a couple. She tells him to believe in second chances. He says he’s in. He believes in all of it – pigs flying and ice skaters in hell.

Nathan shows Dante the sonogram, saying he keeps thinking how he’s responsible for a little life. Dante tells him not to let the Faison stuff throw him off. It takes more than genetics to make a father and make a family. Nathan tells Dante he’s more like a brother than Henrik could ever be. Dante says, brothers in blue. Nathan says being he’s entering into uncharted territory, he could use the best backup. Dante says he’s got him covered. Nathan tells him that he and Maxie have been talking, and they’d like him to be the baby’s godfather. Dante says he’d be honored.

A weepy Maxie tells Amy sorry for being emotional, but she cries at commercials these days. Amy says, she does too, and she’s not even pregnant. Maxie says it’s incredibly generous, and kudos on finding a way Nathan wouldn’t turn it down. Maxie gets an emergency call from Crimson. Nina is unreachable, and she has to go in. She tells Shane, let’s roll.

An officer at the station tells Dante that someone spotted a guy the other night who fits Faison’s description, and he was in the area today. Dante says he’s on his way.

Anna asks Faison how long they’ve been playing this game? How many lifetimes? A cat, a mouse, running from his obsession. He says she likes being cruel to him. She says she’s tired of running, and protecting her family. She asks if he knew she was sick. She has an incurable disease. He says he’s sorry, but she says he’s not. He’s an evil old man, who will never get what he wants from her – ever. So she doesn’t want to hear about his unrequited love. She’s sick of it. Tell her, after all this time, if this is the end. He says it will end the way supposed to end, with them together. It’s over.

Doc asks Elizabeth if she’s volunteering Franco as a subject. She says Doc knows his medical history. He’s been exonerated legally, but never came to terms with his past. Maybe it will help him trust in his own recovery. Doc tells her that he wanted to approach Franco, but wasn’t sure how. Elizabeth says he was moving in a healthy direction with Andre. Maybe Doc can help him move forward. Doc’s research might convince him that his brain tumor made him commit those horrible crimes. Doc says it’s a widely accepted theory, but she says not by Jason and Sam because of the ordeal he put them through. Jason respects Doc, and if he can prove Franco wasn’t responsible, he might not forgive him, but if he backed off a little, it might open the door for others to see Franco for the good man he really is.

Franco says no way. Doc says it would further cause of science, and Franco asks what’s next? Reenactments? Doc says he was thinking of deepening the pool of knowledge to help others. Elizabeth thinks it would be good for him, but Franco says it will have weird Franco fans salivating. If it bleeds, it leads. Doc says he’s blowing it out of proportion. It’s just a presentation at a psychiatric conference, and he doesn’t even have to be there. Elizabeth says some people still doubt the tumor caused him to commit the crimes, and Franco says by some people, she means Jason, and by doubt, she means he’s never going to believe it. Elizabeth asks if he doesn’t want to know for himself. Franco says he can’t do it. Removing the tumor didn’t magically remove everything bad about him.

Griff says they won’t be posted for a while, but Kiki got the scores to get into med school. She hugs him, and no surprise, Ava walks in.

Anna tells Faison the only one way it ends with them together, is in his hands. He says it’s never been a game to him. The life he wanted isn’t the one he’s living. She says if it’s family he wants, look elsewhere; he’s running out of time. He says he’ll never run out of time. He hears the sirens and jets. Anna tries to revive Finn.

Ava asks what’s up, and Kiki says she passed; she’s going to med school. She hugs Ava. She says that Griff pulled some strings, and found out early. The timing couldn’t be more perfect. Kiki thanks him for everything and goes back to work. Ava says he’s good, and he says he was glad to turn things around; Kiki was a little overwhelmed today. He’s just the messenger though; she did the work. Ava says she’s still grateful he’s thoughtful when comes to her daughter.

Franco tells Elizabeth that just because he was absolved of legal responsibility, doesn’t make him a good person. He flashes back to thinking about pushing Andrew down the stairs, and how it was before the tumor. He says they don’t know how old he was when it started. Doc says ideally, he’ll be able to make a correlation between the execution of violence and the growth of the tumor. Franco says he’ll have to explain to him what took its place. He believes the tumor made him kill, but he was still stumbling through life with a gaping hole in him until he met Elizabeth. Give him a scientific explanation of how Elizabeth saved him.

Anna helps Finn to the couch. Dante busts in with another cop. Anna tells Dante that Faison left. Dante calls Nathan, telling him Faison was there, but got away. He could be anywhere. Nathan says he has to get to Maxie.

Peter puts some papers on Nina’s desk. Faison walks in behind him, and wonders if he came to the wrong office, but thinks Peter is the one out of place. Peter says his face is everywhere. Faison says, thanks to Peter, putting him in the paper. Peter says the whole police department is looking for him, and Faison says he’s looking for one of them. He tells Peter that he may sit down if he likes.

Kiki tells Elizabeth and Amy about getting into med school. They’ll have to survive without her. Amy says they reserve the right to complain about the doctors, even when she is one. She asks who gave Kiki the inside scoop.

Ava tells Griff that when Kiki is done collecting congratulations, a celebration is in order. She asks if he’d like to come to dinner, but he doesn’t want to intrude. She says Kiki won’t mind, and she won’t take no for an answer. Kiki knows how important he is to her.

Doc says sorry he interrupted Franco’s guest list. Franco says it’s slim, but Doc says take it from him, the number of guests doesn’t matter. What matters is the woman he’s marrying. She has absolute faith in him. Franco thinks he made some interesting points. Doc says, some he’s keen on exploring if Franco will let him. Franco tells him to be careful what he asks for; it’s a dark place in there. Doc says there’s a lot Franco doesn’t know about him. He might find a more sympathetic ear than he realizes. Doc says Franco knows where his office is.

Finn tells Anna that he feels fine, but what about her? Before she got there, Faison was ranting and raving; he’s obsessed with her. She says she knows. Finn says he knows it was a bluff, but before she hit him, he bought it. She saved his life again.

Nathan goes home. There’s no one there. He makes a call.

Walking into the office, Maxie says she needs to get the proofs. Both she and Shane see they missed calls from Nathan. Peter is surprised to see them. Faison comes up behind Shane, and knocks him out. Maxie says, Faison, and he says, how lovely to see my daughter-in-law.

Tomorrow, Lulu and Obrecht are still trying to escape, Faison shoots someone, and Jason says he’s on his way.

🏯 In other news, Josh Flagg married his partner, Bobby, on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Needless to say, the ceremony and reception were quite lavish. There were so many rose petals on the runner to the altar, I thought it was the texture of the carpet. The other Josh and Heather now have a baby who has gotten to the crawling point; James and David – who I still constantly want to refer to as brothers – sold a house for a record $41 million in Bel Air; and Madison is still an a-hole.

General Hospital

At Aurora, Peter proposes a toast. He complements everyone, and toasts to a great new year at the company. Nina hopes the champagne didn’t come out of Crimson’s budget, but he says it was a gift from their landlord.

Carly tells Michael she can be there if he needs back up with Nelle. He tells her to enjoy the night, and happy new year. Sonny isn’t surprised, and Carly wonders if it was Nelle’s plan all along to start the new year with Michael. Sonny is like, in the hospital? And she says, could happen. Jason comes b,y and tells them that he has a plane to catch.

At the hospital, Nelle asks if her dizziness is normal, and Michael says that’s what they’re here to find out. Kim is off for the day, and Monica is her replacement.

Anna is working two laptops, and tells Finn don’t touch that or that or that; one tweak in the wrong direction, and everything is useless. She thinks he should go for a walk. I might point out it’s like, zero degrees today where they’re supposed to live. Finn calls her a glory hog, and says she’s stuck with him whether she likes it or not.

Valentin comes home to Cassandra and her companion in his living room. Or whatever they call it at Windemere. She’s bringing him good tidings. He asks if she’s leaving town, and she says she is. And he’s coming with her.

Finn asks if the bug is working, and Anna says it’s great. He’d be happier if she’d admit he’s not a bumbling amateur, and she says he has his uses. He says she can’t do it, even though she blackmailed him into this mess. Anna says he’s the one who refused to stop. She says they’re at the end, and can now pinpoint the location. Finn says, thanks to his bug, but she says technically, it’s hers. He tells her that he installed it, and she calls him impossible. He asks how long this will take, but she’s not sure yet, and it makes Finn a little nervous. Anna says she thought he said he had Cassandra eating out of his hand, and he says Cassandra needs to keep hands to herself.

Cassandra wants Valentin to put in appearance, and familiarize himself with the product. He says he has nothing to do with quality control, and she tells him to consider it a gesture of solidarity. He says it’s her brainchild, but she insists it’s time for him to get his hands dirty, and eliminate Sonny.

Jason wants to go back to Russia. He thinks somebody at the clinic might know something about Faison. Sonny says he might get killed, Jason he insists that he has to go. He steps away to take a call. Carly says he can’t get on the plane; he needs to be here with Sam. Sonny says whatever she’s planning – no. She runs off to talk to the chef, but he notes she’s going in the wrong direction.

Peter asks if their fearless leaders care to share any plans for the new year. Drew tells him they’re off the clock; take it easy. Maxie reminds Peter that tomorrow is a holiday. Carly pops in, and they thank her for the champagne. She says anything for her favorite tenants, and invites them to the party downstairs. Drew and Sam have other plans, and Lulu tells everyone that they rented out the Haunted Star to watch the fireworks, because it’s totally her business. Well, the Haunted Star is her business, but not shouting out Drew and Sam’s plans. Drew says, first, he’s dropping by the hospital to wish Monica a happy new year. Carly tells Sam it looks like Aurora has stabilized, and Sam says she’s looking forward to a profitable year. Carly is glad it worked out. She sees Sam’s ring, and asks if it’s new. Sam says Drew gave it to her after they agreed to remarry. She thought it was great for a fresh start. Carly says everyone could use one, and congratulates her.

Finn tells Anna that Cassandra toweled him off like he was a grease fire. Anna says maybe it was more innocent than that, and he says, employee harassment. She says, the nerve, especially since he’s completely unavailable. Finn says he is as far as Cassandra is concerned, and Anna wonders if he gave the wrong impression, and led her on. Finn says he would never cheat in a fake relationship – or a real one – but he guesses they’ll never know.

Valentin asks if Cassandra wants him to assassinate Sonny, and she wants it dealt with before they leave. It’s time to refocus, and he was right. Sonny is a paragon of virtue when comes to drugs. Valentin says he doesn’t tolerate traffic in his town, and Cassandra asks what he thinks will happen when his town is the hub of opiate traffic. It’s self-preservation. He has to kill Sonny, before Sonny kills him.

Jason tells Sonny his flight was delayed, but he has to find Faison now. Sonny thinks it’s more like he wants to get away from Sam, but Jason thinks it’s a good idea to keep his distance; Drew isn’t handling it well, and it’s killing Sam. Sonny says at some point they have to stop this, and make it okay. They need to figure it out for themselves. Him leaving isn’t going to change Sam’s feelings, and either Drew moves forward, or it will consume him; it’s not on Jason. Jason says Sam made her choice, and he needs to honor it.

Maxie tells Sam that they’re going to feel like the only ones in the world on the boat. Sam says that’s the idea. Maxie asks if that’s what she’s wearing, and when Sam says it is, she asks how many times she has to ride to her rescue in dressing appropriately. Friends don’t let friends do drab. She asks Nina for permission to raid the Crimson closet.

Michael waits for Nelle, and Drew walks in. He tells Michael that he came to see Monica. Michael says it’s good to see they still have a relationship. Drew says he’s a lucky guy, and asks why Michael is there. Michael says he’s there for Nelle.

Nelle thanks Monica for seeing her. Monica says even if she wasn’t on duty, she would have made herself available. Nelle says the Quartermaines stick together, and Monica says, you’d better believe it. Nelle asks if that’s a threat, and Monica says, no. It’s a promise to her unborn baby. Monica asks about the dizzy spells, and Nelle says they’re usually the same; she gets lightheaded and has to lie down. Monica tells her that everything looks good, but wants to do a full workup to be sure. Nelle asks if she wants to make sure she’s not lying; it’s clearly what she’s thinking. Monica tells her not to get upset; it’s not good for the baby. Nelle says it’s frustrating to consistently judged, but Monica wouldn’t know what it’s like. Monica says she does.

Sonny tells Jason if he thinks it’s the right move, he’ll back him, but doesn’t want him to take off and disappear. Jason says he’s not giving up his life there. His kids know he exists, and he can’t cut out on them; he would never do that. Sonny asks if he’s spending time with them. Jason says he saw Jake on Christmas, but Jake wanted nothing to do with him. He says Jake has been thrown so many curveballs, and now he shows up out of nowhere. Sonny says it’s not his fault. Jake needs time to process. Jason thinks maybe it’s good for him to go away, and give Jake time. He got lucky with Danny. Sonny says eventually, Jake won’t be able to deny it any more than Sam will.

At the Haunted Star, Maxie gets impatient. Sam comes out in a bodycon red number, with a keyhole neckline. Maxie says, me likey. Me too, but come on. Sam is gorgeous, and does her makeup impeccably every day, yet doesn’t know how to dress?

Lulu asks if Peter is going to the party, but he has a few things to finish up. She thanks him for giving her an opportunity. He says she’s the one brought the story, and thanks her. She wants to follow up with something just as big, or bigger, and wonders if he has any ideas. He says one comes to mind. The question is, does she have the guts to tackle it?

Anna balks at the two of them in a real relationship. She says Finn would drive her crazy. He says ditto, with her tea and crumpets, and accent. She says he loves her accent, and he admits that he does.

Cassandra’s phone rings, but she ignores it, and asks Valentin why he’s so squeamish? Just take Sonny out.

Anna gets a signal from Cassandra’s phone. She thinks it’s the factory, and calls Robert. She asks if he’s getting it.

Cassandra answers the call, and tells Valentin that the lab agrees Finn’s formula will work. She says they’re to leave immediately, and get packing. Valentin says his daughter is sleeping, and his wife is expecting him. Cassandra threatens to call Nina herself. Valentin throws her phone across the room, saying there’s only so far she can push him. Great. Now what? Eric! Her companion’s name is Eric! Cassandra has Eric fetch the phone, and says she’s capable of compromise. They can leave in the morning. It’s what’s best for everyone; trust her. And you know when someone says that, it’s the last thing you should do.

Anna looks at a map along with Robert. She tells him she’s looking for a water source; it would be needed to produce drugs. They find one, and she tells him to look for a road. Finn watches as she works. They find an airstrip, and Anna says to send in the strike team. They’ve got her.

Nelle is surprised to find out that Monica didn’t know who AJ’s father was. Monica says they didn’t have DNA tests then. Nelle says she hasn’t been with anyone else, and it’s obviously Michael’s baby. Monica says she’s not implying her story is the same, but maybe Nelle can learn from her experience. Nelle asks how she handled it, and Monica says it wasn’t easy, but she learned to focus on what was important – her child. Nelle needs to focus on that. Being born a Quartermaine comes with host of things. Nelle says for the baby, but not for her. Monica tells her that she’s not the first woman to have a Quartermaine baby, and she won’t be the last, but if it makes her part of the family remains to be seen.

Drew asks Michael if he’s sure the baby is his. Michael says they’ll know once they have a test, but the timing is right. Drew congratulates him, and says it turns out he has child from a former life. They agree at least their lives are interesting.

Peter suggests Lulu write an article about Jason and Drew. He can’t think of a more interesting story. Lulu says everyone else is covering it. He adds, except them. He figured it was on purpose because of Sam and Drew. Lulu says the story might never see the light of day, but Peter thinks maybe with a friendlier approach, and they can control it themselves. He suggests instead of focusing on the victims, focus on the perpetrator – Caesar Faison. YES!!!

Jason tells Sonny that Sam deserves a safe life for her and the kids, and Drew can give it to her. Sonny says she also deserves to be happy. Jason says if that’s what she wanted, he’d thank God, but she picked Drew. Sonny says that Jason is the person she’s meant to be with.

Maxie tells Sam that Drew will combust when he sees her. Sam isn’t totally in, and tries on the next dress. It’s black, very low cut, and sleeveless with sparkly shoulders. Maxie says that’s good too. Both are good choices, so she should just go for fit, style, and comfort. Strike comfort; it has no place in fashion. She tells Sam that they both match the coat she’ll need if they’re going to be outside. Sam says she has a coat, but Maxie scoops up her motorcycle jacket, saying it’s not appropriate. She says her work here is done, and leaves.

Monica sees Drew, and they wish each other a happy new year. She wants to steal Michael for a minute, and says she’ll be back. She tells him that Nelle and the baby are fine. He asks if she has any idea what’s causing the dizzy spells, and she tells him, low blood pressure. She’s been pushing herself too hard, and needs to take better care of her health, but the baby fine. Michael thanks her. She says they’re family, and that overrides everything. Focus on the now.

Jason tells Carly that his flight was delayed. He asks where she went, and she tells him, Aurora. She was hoping Drew would admit they own the company because of him. Jason says it doesn’t matter, and he doesn’t want her handling his battles for him. She tells him that he and Sam belong together, and she needs to realize that. He tells her, Sonny just said that. She suddenly gets a text from Sonny, and tells Jason that Sonny wants to meet him at the Haunted Star; he might have information on Faison. What? How dare they be so far up in Jason’s business?

Lulu tells Peter that people have a morbid curiosity about Faison, and would probably eat up a profile on him. He tells her to think bigger – a profile and interview. She wonders if she’s supposed to track him down, and pray he doesn’t kill her. I dunno. He’s kind of an egoiste. He might actually go for it, especially if he thinks Anna would read it. She asks how she’s supposed to find him when the WSB couldn’t? Peter says she has a gift. She has two things, aside from raw talent. One is her husband. She says Dante isn’t going to tell her anything, but Peter says he’s sure she has ways of convincing him. She also has her father. The feud between Luke and Faison is legendary. He tells her to sleep on it. If something comes from it, career made.

Nathan is still waiting for Maxie at the party. Dante tells him they’re wasting valuable time. When the baby comes, they won’t have any time, and the time they have will be spent talking about kids. Nathan says he’ll trade that for the baby being okay. He still isn’t sure who his father is. Nina says, that’s why Maxie pulled a hair out of Valentin’s head.

Cassandra tells Valentin they’re expected on the tarmac at nine am. He says he’ll see her in 2018. Outside, she tells Eric what way to start the new year. She’s going to need a phone replacement before the morning. Eric hands her the card, saying it fell out. Oh, Valentin, what have you done?

Anna tells Finn the factory was just hit. They were taken by surprise, and there was minimal resistance. A mass quantity of drugs was found; it was a large-scale production. They’ve officially secured the factory, and taken it over. Finn asks what that means. Did they win? She says the battle, not the war. He says, but it’s over and no one got hurt. He grabs her and spins her around. Yep. I like these two together. Finn says Anna could benefit from loosening up once in a while, and she’s like, says man who organizes his flatware. She says they still have one more thing to take care of. He asks if it’s Cassandra, and she says, make that two.

Nina is wondering where Valentin is. Nathan suggests maybe he stopped for a crime spree or a kidnapping.

Anna calls Valentin, telling him that her investment paid off. He’s concerned about retaliation, but she says they have a team out after her. Valentin tells her where Cassandra is headed, and she thanks him. He tells her to thank him after she’s in custody. Anna tells Finn that it’s finished. He guesses so is their partnership.

Cassandra walks back into Valentin’s house, along with Eric, who has a gun pointed at him. He’s wondering what the what, and she tells him not to play innocent; it doesn’t suit him. She doesn’t want him killed there, and tells him to come quietly, for his family’s sake.

Nina texts Valentin, but there’s still no answer. Lulu and Peter arrive at the party. Lulu tells Dante she’s his for the rest of the night. Maxie joins them, saying she was late for a worthy cause.

Michael tells Nelle that Monica said to take it easy. She says she’ll try. She found a job, and starts the day after New Year’s. He asks if the hours are flexible, and she says she needs the money. He says they can revisit the financial support issue. She’s not supposed to have any extra stress. She blows him off, saying she has the feeling this job will solve all of her problems.

Sonny tells Carly the party is off to a good start. She tells him it was rude to leave his date, and he points out that she actually left first. He asks what she’s up to, and she says he’s off the clock. Sonny asks where Jason is, and Carly says somewhere he needs to be. Oh, I see. She just said the message was from Sonny. I didn’t think Sonny would get that involved.

Jason runs onto the boat. He sees Sam in the black dress. They soap opera gaze at each other.

Tomorrow, Finn would like to stay, Sonny tells Carly that her plan isn’t going to work, and Cassandra has the crap beat out of Valentin.

💣 I have to mention that I’m really enjoying Jessica Tuck playing he hell out of Cassandra. As over-the-top as the character is, she makes it believable with a very understated, controlled performance. I’ll bet she’s having a good time too. Cassandra is a world away from One Life to Live’s Megan. I don’t suppose it will happen, but it would be fun if she were in a scene with Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva, Max, OLTL).

🍲 Television is still in holiday limbo, but I’m catching up with Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and Top Chef, both having new episodes this week. Tonight, the chefs cooked meals that were “pieces of themselves.” Most picked something reminiscent of their childhood, bringing to mind my father’s neckbone soup. While we probably ate things no kid would touch today – he often cooked “Depression food,” since that’s when he grew up – it was one of my favorites. I joke a lot about my avoidance of cooking, but can get ambitious occasionally, and did make it myself once when I lived alone. IMO, it was good, but not the same. Probably because the love was missing.

🌉 I knew long ago I could never be a chef, top or otherwise, but the jury is in on my being a broker too. My career would be over the first time I smacked a condescending client with a superiority complex, and way too much money, in the face. Tonight, one of Madison’s clients wanted to be on a certain road at a certain price for two months. It was the peak season, and she waited until the last minute. Like what I do when I’m getting my hair cut before the holidays begin. He did find her something slightly (slightly in terms of the wealthy, so I mean $100K) more than she wanted, but she compromised. I’d like to think her demanding attitude was to play for the camera, but holy! She was a witch of the highest order, and not very couth. Bringing up the price in front of the client is never good form. My interest was also piqued when James and David checked out what they deemed to be the future of real estate in LA, namely, luxury apartments. At first, when they used the term “vertical living,” I thought it must be some futuristic Japanese design. I was pretty surprised when everything looked like what it’s looked like in NYC for as long as I can remember, but it was cheaper.

General Hospital

Maxie reads the test instructions. She’s late, like, late.

Nathan sees Nelle on the phone. For a moment, I think he’s going to approach her, but Amy runs in. She’s upset, and says, it’s Chet.

Ava gives Griff an old photo of herself, and says she’s still waiting for an answer. He has the necessary research and tools to finish what Klein started. She wants him to turn her back into the woman in the picture.

Josslyn brings Oscar home. She says her parents aren’t there. They’re working on proving their friend is the real Jason, because their other friend thinks he’s Jason. She tells him if wants to run away screaming, now’s his chance. He tells her that he doesn’t, and that he listened to the CD again. He thinks there’s something on it that might help. Carly comes in, and Josslyn says she thought they wouldn’t be home. Carly asks if that was the plan, to be alone.

At the MetroCourt, Jason tells Sonny that whatever happened to him has to be connected to what happened to Sam’s husband. Sonny says the only two possibilities he can think of are Faison and Obrecht. Jason doesn’t know who Obrecht is, and Sonny says she’s a wack-job who was in charge of GH at one point, and did whatever Faison wanted. She’s out of town, but he thinks she’s their best lead when she gets back. Jason asks what’s going on with Sonny, and he says the same old. It’s been a strange year. He was getting out of the business, and even put Pizzulo’s up for sale, but he changed his mind. Jason asks if he was serious about going legit. Sonny says he thought Perks was the answer. Jason asks him what Perks is, and Sonny tells him it’s a coffeehouse that Kristina wanted him to buy, but was really Morgan’s baby. The last time he saw Morgan revved up about it, he thought he’d end up with a franchise. Jason says the last time he saw Morgan, he was a kid. Sonny says, and now he’s gone.

Amy tells Nathan that Chet is gone. He asks if she tried calling, and she asks if he’s met her. Chet won’t pick up. Nathan tells her not to panic. There are a number of reasons he could have left. She says only one scares her; him using again.

Maxie drinks water so she can do the test.

Nelle looks at the contract, and says it looks decent. The gossip rag guy says as soon as they vet the entire story, she’ll get paid. She tells him she has the goods on Ask Man Landers, and he says when they verify it, she’ll get her payoff. She asks what if she needs the money now, and he says that’s the way it works.

Josslyn tells Carly that wasn’t the plan. She knew they weren’t home, but that’s not why she invited Oscar over. Carly says she’s just messing with her. Since Oscar is there, she wants to set up a time to meet his mother. He says she’s been crazy busy, and Carly asks if she’s working on Thanksgiving. She wants to have them over; they’re new in town and might not have plans. She asks Oscar to text his mother and copy her. She has to leave, and when she’s gone, Josslyn apologizes, saying that came out of nowhere and was uber pushy. Oscar says her mom’s heart is in right place. She’s so… mom. Josslyn asks if his mother knows they’re hanging out. Oscar says she does, but doesn’t know who Josslyn’s stepdad is.

Ava asks Griff why not take the chance to restore her? Griff says it’s dangerous and he deems it a risk. She says all he needs to do is finish, but he says it hasn’t been approved by the US, Russia, or anybody. If it’s done improperly, he could make worse. She’s willing to take the risk, saying it’s her face. Griff says it’s his career. It’s risky and could cause more damage. Ava says she’ll find another doctor who will do it, and he begs her not to open that Pandora’s box. She says if it was that bad, why would Jason bring it to her.

Jason hates that he wasn’t there for Sonny and Carly. Sonny says that’s why he should have known. Sam’s husband is a good guy, and understanding, but something was off. He didn’t take Morgan’s loss like Jason would have. They agree there’s nothing worse than losing a child. Sonny tells Jason that Morgan was bi-polar, and he feels guilty for passing it along. Jason says it’s not his fault. Sonny says it was hard, seeing him go through it, and there was nothing he could do, but be there for him. He doesn’t do helpless well. Morgan had started his meds, and was great; focused and ready to get on with life. Jason says it takes a lot of work, and Sonny says he did the work, and was ready, until that bitch took him away.

Ava tells Griff that Jason is grateful and wouldn’t harm her. Griff says he’s not a doctor, and he’s not doing her favor. She says it makes sense, and she understands that it’s risky or could make things worse, but can’t shake the idea of being herself again. Griff tells her that she’s beautiful the way she is. She says a lot of people would disagree, and he says he’s not a lot of people. He asks if they can table this, since he’s starving. He suggests the MetroCourt; he wants to show off his dinner date. Ava says he’s on.

Jason tells Sonny that Carly mentioned something, but said they’d talk later. Sonny says she’s right; they should focus on the positive. He tells Jason before Morgan was taken, he was the best version of himself, and that’s what matters. Jason says he’s there when Sonny is ready to talk. Carly walks in, and asks if it would be embarrassing if she burst into tears. Both Sonny and Jason say, yes. She says it’s everything she wished for, but never thought she’d get.

Nathan asks when was the last time Amy saw Chet, and she tells him before occupational therapy. She realizes they can’t report him missing yet, but Nathan says he can do something unofficial. She’s going to check around to find out who was the last person to see him. Nathan says he’s supposed to be the detective.

Maxie asks what’s three minutes? A commercial break, a song, the time it takes to boil a tea kettle. She can totally wait three minutes. She thinks she should do something productive, and decides to do stretches while she watches the timer. When the three minutes are up, she looks at the stick and says, baby or no baby? There’s a knock at the door, and she hides the test, but not very well. It’s Chet.

Nelle says she’s out of there, and gossip guy asks if the scoop is that big. She says it’s huge, and he says they can give her three quarters up front. She wants complete anonymity, and he agrees. She tells him to add it to the contract, and I call her a bitch in my head. I wanted to like her too, but this is too much. She tells him that she used to work at Crimson, where Mrs. Man Landers works. She overheard them talking, and they were worried someone would find out what they’ve been hiding. Ask Man Landers is a fraud, and his sister and wife know.

Chet says someone put Ask Man Landers’s address on Twitter, and he needs to tell him about his sister. Maxie says if he needs Man Landers to play matchmaker, he’s happily married – to her. He says no, Man Landers knows his sister; it’s Amy. Maxie realizes it’s Chet, and says sorry; it’s been so long, she didn’t recognize him. He asks if they know each other, and she says she went to PC High when he was the football champion. He says it’s been a long time since high school. She tells him that she was a cheerleader, and he says thanks for that. She guesses she wasn’t as much of legend as he was, but he says he’s not a legend anymore. She says it depends on who you ask, and then wonders why he’s not at the hospital.

On the phone, Nathan says he knows it’s not policy, but it’s for friend. Amy comes back, saying Chet never went to occupational therapy. Deanna had seen him dressed about an hour ago, but knew he was being discharged, and had no reason to think anything was wrong. Nathan says an hour isn’t that long, but Amy says long enough to find a dealer; he knows Port Charles. Nathan says so do they, and they’ll use it to their advantage.

Josslyn says Sonny can be intimidating, and for good reason, but she knows how awkward the conversation can be; she’s had it with everyone. They all give her the same look, a cross between interest, terror, and pity. Oscar looks at his phone. His mother has accepted the invitation. Josslyn says it will be fun, and they can make it work. She’ll ask Sonny to demob the place. Oscar says maybe it’s best they meet. His mom will see what nice people they are, and what a great family. Josslyn says, bring on Thanksgiving.

Carly tells Sonny about inviting Oscar and his mom to Thanksgiving. She says they haven’t met, and they’re relatively new in town. Sonny thinks she’s trying to control the situation, but she says just the opposite. They need to get to know each other, but maybe they could cut back on security. Sonny thinks Max and Milo might like to spend Thanksgiving with their significant others. Sonny steps away, and Carly asks Jason, what if Oscar’s mom meets him, and decides to leave the state? Jason says that’s a little extreme. They’re great people, and care about their kids. Carly thinks it’s wonderful to be able to talk, and not be judged. She says she probably sounds stupid, but Jason says she sounds like a mom who cares. She leaves to get a drink, and Griff and Ava walk in.

Jason goes over to say hello. Griff says it’s good to see him on US soil. Jason thanks him for his help at the church, and insists on giving him the money back; he likes to pay his debts. Griff says he’ll put it in the donation dish. Jason asks if Ava got what he left for her. It was all he could think of to pay her back. Carly suddenly appears, asking why he’s talking to Ava. Jason says she helped him escape, and Carly says she’s also the reason Morgan is dead.

Chet tells Maxie he got an honorable discharge from the hospital. She asks what he needs Nathan for, and he says it’s personal. She tells him that she’s Nathan’s wife, so she’ll find out anyway. He’s with Chet’s sister, who’s worried sick about him. Chet says that’s just it. He doesn’t want her wasting time on him, and wants her to move on and be happy. He doesn’t want to be in Amy’s orbit. Maxie says he might have been a hero on the football field and in the battlefield, but he’s a coward when it comes to his sister.

Amy tells Nathan that Chet has no money, but he has credit cards. He hates taking the bus, and they agree he probably took a cab. She says that GH keeps recommended cab companies (like Port Charles must have so many) in the lobby. Nathan says that might help narrow it down. She thanks him, saying he’s one of the good ones.

Nelle tells gossip guy that Man Landers is really a nurse at GH, Amy Driscoll. She shows him some things she printed out, saying she checked account after account, and there’s strangeness all around Ask Man Landers, and they were accused of having an affair. They talk about the book launch, and she says none of the men were writing the column. Amy was.

Joslyn asks what it was Oscar noticed, and he says the water theme kept coming in and out of the songs. Josslyn compares it to the tides, and says it could be the San Diego thing; they’re all about the ocean. Oscar says, and the naval base; it’s one of the largest in the US. She asks if he thinks his dad was in the Navy, and he says it’s possible. They kick around the idea of him being deployed, and that’s why he said goodbye. Josslyn reminds Oscar that the Iraq war was in 2003. It would make perfect sense. Oscar says it might also explain why he didn’t come home, and why his mom doesn’t talk about him. What if he was killed in action?

Griff tells Carly this isn’t the time or place. Ava nearly died helping Jason. Doesn’t that count for anything? She says it can never erase her killing Morgan. She tells Jason what happened with Ava switching Morgan’s pills for placebos. He asks why, and Ava says he wasn’t supposed to die. She cared about him, but his mental illness wasn’t healthy for her daughter. She just wanted to get him away. She’d thought he’d go to the hospital. Carly says that’s bad enough, and Ava says she thought they’d pay attention. If his parents had done what they were supposed as parents, he’d still be alive. Jason tells her to stop, and says Morgan was his godson. He owed her, and he’s repaid the debt. They’re done. He goes back to the table, and Ava says it must be Carly’s best day ever. Now she has two men to fight her battles. Carly says she does her own fighting. Ava says nothing can stop her now, and Carly says not even her.

Chet tells Maxie that he’s trying to do right thing. She says, leaving his sister in shreds? She adores him, and lives her life for him. He says things are different now. Maxie says she gets it. Life dealt him a crappy hand, but Amy is doing everything she can make life better, even calling in favors. Nathan thought he was fighting the good fight, even if it was risky. He doesn’t know what she’s talking about, and she tells him to open his eyes. The VA isn’t paying his bills – Amy is. That’s how selfless and devoted she is.

Nelle tells gossip guy that she unearthed the old Ask Man Landers blogs, and no photo was used until the book deal. Gossip guy says Amy needed a man to front, as all women do. Nelle gives a look, but I’m surprised she doesn’t say something. She tells him there’s a connection between Amy and Nathan; Amy went to high school with his wife, who worked for Nina. Gossip guy says it’s all in the family, and that Maxie is a co-conspirator.

Oscar says he looked into the Navy records, but he didn’t know what he was looking for. He found a Naval pilot that was wounded and sent home. His name was Oscar O’Brien, and he was from Iowa. Josslyn is already on her phone, and tells Oscar that he’s on MyFace. <snort> She shows Oscar his page, and Oscar says he looks a lot like him. Josslyn says he looks exactly like him, and this could be his father.

Sonny tells Jason he wanted to say something, but didn’t want to revisit the pain. Avery is the only reason Ava is still breathing.

Ava understands Carly grieving and hating her, but she’s far from perfect. She’s lied, cheated, and done more than her fair share of damage. Carly says she didn’t rob a young man of his sanity and life. Ava says she didn’t kill him, and tells Carly to get down from her pedestal. Carly says she doesn’t want to be like Ava. Ava is scarred for life, and she can’t think of a more fitting punishment. She tells Griff that one day he’ll really look at her; scarred on the outside, and horrible and vile on the inside. He’ll move on to someone more becoming and younger. It won’t bring her son back, but it’s nice to know.

Sonny says he’s sorry; he shouldn’t have put Jason on the spot, but he hates her. Jason says he’s glad he knows, and Sonny says they have a lot of catching up. Jason thinks he’s done for the night. Carly says he must have so many questions, but Jason says they have time, and he needs to clear his head. Carly says she loves him, and he says he loves her too. He leaves, and Sonny looks at his phone.

Gossip guy tells Nelle that she’ll get the rest if the story pans out. She says it will. He says not only will it tank Ask Man Landers, but Crimson. Nelle says it’s not her fault the company’s integrity went down because of Nina and Maxie’s lies. So be it. Gossip guy likes it.

Chet asks Maxie how Amy got the money. Maxie says she wrote a blog, and the public loved it. She did the work, but got none of the glory. He asks if he’s heard of it, and she tells him it’s practically a household name. His sister is Ask Man Landers. Amy and Nathan walk in as she’s telling him.

Oscar is worried that his father might not want to hear from him. Josslyn says for all they know, he has no clue Oscar exists. It can’t hurt to reach out. Oscar wonders what if he’s disappointed to have a son like him, and Josslyn tells him that he’s an awesome guy, He’d be proud. Oscar wants to meet him, but is afraid. Josslyn says if he wants to call it off, she’s with him, but he says no. He wants to find his father. Josslyn says okay; then they will. He says it feels good to have someone on his side. They kiss. It’s about time.

Sonny looks at his phone, and tells Carly it’s all good.

Griff tells Ava not to let Carly ruin this for them, but she says, too late.

Carly wonders if Jason went to the footbridge. Sonny’s guesses he did. Carly says he looked lost, and wishes there was something they could do to help him. Sonny says maybe there is.

At the footbridge, Jason sees someone he recognizes.

Tomorrow, Amy admits being Ask Man Landers to Chet, Nina asks Sam what she’s afraid of, and Ava asks Franco what he’s going to do with two Jason Morgans. I’m wondering if, and hoping that Faison and Obrecht are returning. Faison is like Helena. He will never, ever die.

🏯 While I don’t normally blog abut Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, I watch it when I can, because I love looking at real estate I would never be able to afford even if I lived three lifetimes. Occasionally, a standout moment happens, and I have to applaud how the brokers work. One of James and David’s clients was selling two fabulous side-by-side houses, one of which had a guest house that’s bigger than mine. Sadly, he was selling both because his wife was ill, and even rich people can have astronomical medical expenses. They suggested he sell the larger property first, thereby setting the price point for the smaller one. This sounded like a smart move to me, but because he was anxious, the seller chose to list both of them at the same time. This turned out to be a bad idea, as people were only interested in the smaller home, and the one offer they got wasn’t full asking price. The client let his emotions rule, and insisted David and James get him the price he wanted, or it was no deal.

Heather (who is now pregnant) and Madison also met, and it was all good. He gave her what I thought was a sincere apology for ending their friendship over her dating Josh Altman. Seems it worked out for Heather all around. The Altman Brothers were left off of a local list of open houses, and it seemed dicey at first. Since they did get some brokers and agents from other areas, they made the best of it, and as Josh said, all they need is one buyer. Josh Flagg didn’t have much luck either, until he adopted a more laid-back approach that was a better fit for the area he was selling in. Rest assured, all of the properties were jaw-droppingly fabulous.

🎭 It’s strange to see a soap star out of context. It’s like seeing your doctor or therapist in line at Shoprite. One time I saw my favorite bartender – who looks like a young Kevin McCarthy – in Home Depot. He didn’t see me, and I couldn’t figure out where I knew this guy from, especially since he was wearing civilian clothes. (I figured it out later.) I got a weird feeling seeing Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) in the Lifetime movie, A Lover Betrayed. He was playing a police lieutenant, and I just kept thinking, I can’t. Although it was better than seeing Brytni Sarpy (Valerie, GH) being a reenactor on an ID channel show, where I kept thinking, Valerie, why are you here?

What I Watched Today

General Hospital

Lulu says what the hell and has another shot with Johnny.

Dante and Valerie go back to Dante’s place where they continue to make me ill.

Michael asks Felix if Dr. Lee is around. She’s not, but Michael says he wants to talk to her about Sabrrrina.

Sabrrrina is waiting for Michael at The Floating Rib and sees Patrick at the bar. He says he feels like he’s having a bad dream that he can’t wake up from. Welcome to my life.

Sam tells Jason that Elizabeth knew for months who he really is. He says it was a mistake to come over. Sam says he knows deep down something isn’t right and he can run away or hear her out.

Elizabeth tries to call Jason, but he doesn’t pick up. He says she’s probably worried about him, and Sam says she’s worried about something all right. Sam says he can run back to Elizabeth or give her five minutes to tell him the truth. He says she’s got five minutes.

Dante and Valerie are making out when there’s a knock at the door. Valerie makes herself scarce, but for once it’s not Lulu. It’s Olivia with Rocco. She asks how long the nonsense with Lulu is going to go on and when are they getting back together. Valerie eavesdrops. No surprise.

Johnny and Lulu flirt a little. Johnny says he was hoping he could stay there. He says his offshore accounts are being monitored, but if she can spare some cash, he’ll pay her back with interest. She tells him he can crash there, but she’ll have to see what she can spare. Dillon shows up and Johnny hides behind the bar.

Michael says he’s concerned about the baby’s size. Felix says it’s wrong to go behind Sabrrrina’s back, and that the baby is healthy and everything’s fine. Michael asks him to come with him to meet Sabrrrina.

Patrick, who has a nerve even discussing this with Sabrrrina, says he has trust issues with Sam now. Sabrrrina says she came out of things with Patrick fine (well, if you can call telling Michael that Carrrlos’s baby is his “ fine”), and he has to decide if he wants to fight for Sam or not.

Elizabeth leaves a message for Jason. Jake comes downstairs and says he can’t sleep, and wonders where Jason is.

Jason asks what proof Sam has. She tells him about how she found Elizabeth in the chapel and Elizabeth said she was hesitant to marry him because of Sam. She didn’t understand it at the time, but now she knows it’s because Elizabeth knew Jason was her husband already. She also tells him about Jake keeping a secret with Elizabeth and Laura. She tells him to open his eyes. She asks if Elizabeth has ever almost told him something and stopped, or shown him some other kind of weirdness. Jason asks if she’s just trying to convince herself so that they can get back together.

Dillon asks if he can talk to Lulu. She says now isn’t the time and she has to get the boat decorated. He says he can help, but she says she works better alone. He asks if he ruined their friendship.

Dante asks if he can talk to Olivia in the morning. She tells him to think of Rocco. He says it isn’t working out with Lulu and Olivia says he sounds like he’s giving up and he has to fight for his marriage. Isn’t that what you want? she asks.

Sabrrrina says when she saw Robin in the church, she knew things were over between her and Patrick, and she could have saved everyone a lot of heartache by just accepting it. She says he has to make a choice and that dragging it out causes the most damage. Michael comes in with Felix. They invite Patrick to join them for dinner, but he takes a pass.

Elizabeth tells Jake that his daddy will be home soon. Jake asks why she said she was worried in her phone message and she says that’s what moms do.

Sam says she understands that Jason doesn’t remember their life together, but she thinks he deserves to know the truth. She says that if Elizabeth had had her way, she and Danny would have never known he was back. She says to look into her eyes and then go home and look into Elizabeth’s eyes. IMO, he knows Sam is telling him the truth.

Felix makes something up to get rid of Michael for a minute. He tells Sabrrrina that Michael is asking questions about the size of the baby.

Lulu says she didn’t love that DIllon publicly exposed Dante as a cheater, but only Dante is responsible for his actions and she wouldn’t take her anger out on him. She suggests they “hit the reset button.”

Olivia asks Dante if he loves Lulu and wants to save his marriage or is he just throwing up his hands and giving up. Dante says Lulu still doesn’t trust him. Please. It’s only been five minutes and even after that you couldn’t wait until the body was cold. Olivia says there’s nothing odd about that, and he shouldn’t let the love of his life go. Dante tells Olivia about what happened on Thanksgiving and she calls Valerie a home wrecker. I concur.

Patrick comes home and Sam tells him Jason went back to Elizabeth and he has to figure out his own life.

Jason gets back to Elizabeth’s. Jake has fallen asleep on the couch. Jason says as soon as he gets Jake settled, he wants to talk to her.

Lulu tells Dillon that she and Dante are officially separated. She tells him Dante signed the papers, but doesn’t mention Valerie being there. She says she thinks Dante wants the marriage over and she does too. Dillon says he doesn’t believe it because she seems miserable. He says no matter what, he’ll be supportive. The he tells her he’s moving back to L.A.

Olivia says she thought Valerie was a one-time thing. Dante says he did too, but things changed. Olivia says Valerie was a mistake and he needs to man up and get rid of his bed buddy. Dante says Valerie is his friend and not to talk about her like that. Olivia says that it’s too bad he doesn’t have the same concern for his marriage.

Felix says that it’s better if Michael hears the truth from Sabrrrina rather than someone else and that when Monica sees the sonogram, she’s going to know.

Sam tells Patrick she told Jason everything. He asks if Jason believed her and Sam says he wanted proof. She brings up her interaction with Elizabeth in the chapel.

Jason comes back downstairs. Elizabeth asks where he was and he says he needed to talk to Sam. Elizabeth asks why he’d want to hear more of her lies. She says Sam is trapped in the past and she wants him to be trapped with her. Jason asks Elizabeth if she knew who he was before he did.

Olivia leaves and Valerie comes out of hiding. Valerie says she doesn’t think Olivia likes her too much, which is an understatement. Dante says she’s a fair person and will come around.

Dillon says he has to go where the work is. Lulu says, what about New York, but Dillon says his heart is in the San Fernando Valley.  (Ha-ha! I almost typed Valerie.) Johnny makes a noise and Dillon hears it.

When Michael gets back to the table, Felix says he’s got to jet.

Sam tells Patrick that what Jason chooses to do with the information she gave him is up to him. Patrick says he doesn’t know if he can trust her because she says one thing, but her actions indicate she’s still in love with Jason. She says a part of her will always love him, but she’s let that go. Patrick says she’s lying to herself and the future they were building doesn’t apply anymore

Elizabeth dodges the question totally, going on and on about how Sam is jealous and being spiteful. He says just answer the question, but she still doesn’t. Whoa. He says she’s making him not trust her by her evasiveness and if she doesn’t answer, he’s leaving. About time.

Valerie is sitting with Rocco and I tell her to take her hands off Lulu’s kid. Dante steps out to the store and I wonder who is going to show up while he’s gone.

Lulu asks Dillon if he wants to go to dinner. She tells him the noise was probably a harbor seal. Aren’t they in New York state? He pretends to go along with it, but then finds Johnny behind the bar.

I am so psychic. There’s a knock at Dante’s door and it’s Olivia.

Michael tells Sabrrrina that he’s worried about her. She says she understands it’s a scary time for him. He says he still wants to talk to the doctor, but she says they need to set up an appointment together. She asks if they can give it a rest for tonight though and just enjoy dinner. Good luck with that.

Patrick says he loves Sam, but he doesn’t think they can make it. He says she really wants to be with Jason and that’s okay because she deserves to be happy. He tells her they’re over.

Elizabeth tells Jason that the truth is she loves him. He doesn’t care, he wants his question answered. She says she accepted him with no questions asked. He says he just wants one question answered and why can’t she – OMG – SHE’S SAYING IT! SHE LIED ABOUT KNOWING WHO HE IS!

Tomorrow, everyone asks for more time with everything and Robin has some scenes.

Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles

JoshA brings Heather breakfast in bed. Heather isn’t pregnant and Josh is a little disappointed. Heather is surprised at that, but Josh says that when confronted with the possibility, he realized that she was a priority. She says he’s sweet and who exchanged him for the real Josh? He says he was just making excuses before, but now he’s ready for whatever comes. He wants to get married asap and suggests early spring.

They call Josh’s parents in Barcelona. I wonder what being a jet setter is like. He tells his mom that he and Heather are getting married April 2nd, and she gets pretty excited.

Mauricio from the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the head of the agency where James and David work. They’re having their weekly staff meeting. David and James’s client looks like Dennis Hopper and scares me a little. The client is putting in an infinity pool to up the price on the house. The client wants it at $14 million, but David and James are like it’s more like $12.5. James says the best way to find out is an informal office poll.

JoshF is currently the number one agent in volume and two in commission. Josh and his husband are buying a house. Josh would rather live in a hotel, but he realizes Colton wants a normal life with a yard and a dog. The property is very pretty and Paul McCartney lives next door. Colton says it seems rushed though. Josh has gone from wanting to live at the Four Seasons, to Grandma Edith’s penthouse, to this house.

JoshF admits he’s been on an emotional roller coaster and Colton has been supportive, so he wants this for him. Colton says he thinks Josh is looking at it more as how much he can flip it for later, but Josh says he really wants some stability right now.

David is feeding his cute basset hounds. In a few weeks, he and Adrian are going to Italy where he’s going to propose. He tells Adrian he wants to bring the dogs (they have 5 between them), but he’s just having fun with her.

JoshA is selling a house on Doheny that he says has an “east coast vibe.” Unfortunately, it has construction going on next door, so they’ve had to drop the price by a million. In our language, I’m guessing that’s like $50K. He’s about to have a showing and his brother tells him the power is out. He’s checked the circuit breakers with no luck. The agent’s client is coming in the morning, so they show the agent the house using flashlights. Considering the camera people also have lighting, you can actually see it pretty well.  Josh says the consolation prize for the construction is the lowered price and the agent thinks it’s not a bad deal.

James and David are showing the infinity pool house to some agents. Did that guy just say there are no bathrooms upstairs? What kind of a skabillion dollar house is this? All of the agents agree that it’s worth closer to $12 million. They get together with scary guy Jay and tell him the bad news. Jay says they’re done because besides being scary, he’s unrealistic.

Jay says it’s a special project and they need to open up their minds. Ohmmm, James says they’re not going to spend a bunch of bucks in marketing to find out that they can’t sell it. Jay says he’s going in at $13.5 with them or without them. James and David say they’ll have to take a pass. David tells Jay he’s a schmuck if he goes with someone else after they gave him the idea for the pool that upped the value of the house. They all compromise at $12.995.

JoshF is getting himself beautified. His phone rings and he actually doesn’t answer it. It doesn’t matter. His office assistant hunts him down. He’d lost the house he wanted to buy to another buyer, and the seller is calling to see if he’s still interested. They go back and forth for a while with the assistant relaying the information. JoshF gets on the phone himself and says buyers aren’t exactly lining up for the property and makes a cash offer. He ends up getting the house. He says after Colton gets ahold of the property, it will be ready for Architectural Digest.

JoshA meets for lunch with Max and his business partner, John. He’s received an offer for the Doheny property, but both guys think it’s low. Josh says they should counter regardless. Josh calls the agent with a counter offer, but lets them know the clients really wanted to tell them to pound sand. He tells Max and John they should take the $8.5 million offer. He says if they wait, the market could change and the property could become stale. He says they should take the money and run. Everyone agrees. John says he’s never happy, but he’s satisfied.

Scary client Jay has everything staged and ready for the open house. The furniture has been custom made for the house and is included in the price. David is hoping they wrap things up quickly because he’s leaving for Italy the next day. Everything is gorgeous, but I think it would be weird moving into a place that had furniture already. I guess it’s good if you’re really busy.

James tells David that he wants him to enjoy himself in Italy and to turn his phone off and concentrate on Adrian.

JoshA was burned by JoshF showing a client a property before he could. He shows the client a different property. The client says he loves it, but he just bought the other property from JoshF. JoshA says compared to that property, this one is an estate and a better fit. And it’s move in ready. He says so much work needs to be done on the other one, he won’t be moving in for two years. The client decides to take the property and develop the one from JoshF. Since the sellers are also JoshA’s clients, he’s going to make out like a bandit.

It’s the finale. JoshA lists his blessings and says he feels like the luckiest guy on the planet.

David calls James and tells him Adrian said yes. He did a beautiful job in picking out the ring too. I’m impressed. David says how happy he is to be marrying the girl of his dreams.

James goes down Memory Lane with the properties he and David have sold. It’s been a phenomenal year.

Josh and Colton are moving into the new house. He reflects on the work ethic Grandma Edith gave him. He says things couldn’t be any better. He says although Edith isn’t with him any longer, he knows she’s looking down on him with pride.

Just a note on The Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce

This is a good show. Well written and acted. A divorcee Sex in the City. In the second season, main character Abby and her ex-husband are entertaining the notion of getting back together. Abby is hesitant though, because not only has she become the “new face of divorce” through her journalism, she’s enjoying her new life.

Last night, Bravo did a bit of a crossover. When Abby is out with her ex, she sees some paparazzi and assumes she’s been recognized. But it turns out they want Shannon from The Real Housewives of the OC . I like Shannon because she’s not afraid to poke fun at herself. When one of the photographers asks about her husband, she says it’s date night, the feng shui worked and to put nine in a bowl.

What I Watched Today

No General Hospital today. For obvious reasons if you’ve been watching the news.

If Loving You is Wrong

After seeing the “It’s a Boy” sign on her own lawn, Marcie runs into the house. Brad tries to follow, but Louise kicks him out. Louise sees the sign for herself and goes back in. I love Louise. Marcie tells Louise how very much money she spent trying to get pregnant with no result and how Randal never kicked in a dime. Marcie said she had a lot of guilt about not being able to give Randal a child, as he wanted his own and wouldn’t consider adoption. She says Alex already had her dream and gave Randal his, while she’s living a nightmare.

Louise says she has $14K in the bank and will give it to Marcie so she can leave. She tells Marcie she doesn’t deserve what’s happening and she should leave. Marcie says she’s right. If she doesn’t go, someone will get hurt. Louise says she knows; she can feel it. I’ll bet she can too. She’s like everyone’s mom rolled into one.

Pete finally gives the video to the captain, and tells him Eddie shot Ben. The captain asks who else saw it, which right there should tell Pete to run. He says that only Claudia saw it and she didn’t see much. The captain says to keep it between them and that he’ll protect Pete. He also pats Pete on the back for the great job and says he’ll go far. How far away is the morgue, since it’s probably as far as he’s going to get.

Lushion sees Joey sitting on the steps. He says Natalie kicked him out and tells Lushion about what happened when Mr. Kym found him with Faun. Lushion goes inside where Natalie is sitting with her head in her hands. He says he heard she got fired, but they’ll be okay. She tells him they got approved for the house. He says it will be difficult, but he can swing it. Natalie blindsides him by asking about the $200K he has in the bank. Natalie asks him how he got so much money if it wasn’t from robbing drug dealers. He says he’s had it for a few years. She wants to know where he got it. He says from working and she says no way. She says even if that’s the case, why did he let her struggle? He says he gives her one paycheck a month and she says, yeah, since he’s been riding with Eddie. She tells him to get lost and adds that he and Eddie are going to get themselves killed. I don’t get why she doesn’t want to believe him. He’s the best guy on the show.

Lushion tells Joey he’s staying in a hotel because he thought he was moving in with Natalie. He tells Joey he’ll get a room for him too, but Joey says no, Faun is picking him up. This kid doesn’t learn. Lushion says give him a call if he needs anything.

Claudia chats up Pete. He asks if she’s trying to get with Eddie, but she says he’s not her type. She adds that she’s new in town and would like to go out to a movie or something. Pete doesn’t get the hint, so she flat out asks him to go out with her. He goes to get something to write her number on and sees the captain talking to Eddie. The light bulb comes on – a little late. He leaves without getting Claudia’s number.

Natalie wakes up to someone banging on the door. She asks who it is and Eddie busts in, breaking the lock. He wants to know where Lushion is and she says not there. He wants to know who she told about him robbing drug dealers. She tells him to get out, but he won’t leave. She picks up a knife (why is she doing this?) and he calls for back up, saying he has an out of control person there. Her son, little Frank, tries to intervene and Eddie throws him down. She makes a move to pick up the knife again (why, Natalie, why?) and Eddie tazes her. He says she doesn’t know a damn thing about him and leaves. I guess he’s not waiting for the back up.

Marcie sees Brad having a drink in the backyard and comes down. She asks if booze and open air are his mating call. He asks her if she wants a drink and she says no. Then he asks her if she wants sex and she says no. He says he guesses it’s over and she says it never really started. He says he enjoyed it and she says she did too, but they’re done with that part. She’s just tired now. She says it’s exhausting being angry and doesn’t want it anymore. He says he’s not there yet. Marcie says she’s cutting her losses and moving out. Brad asks if he can come too, and she says yes, but just as a friend. He says he’s going to need a place after tomorrow, but doesn’t say exactly why.

Pete goes to Natalie’s apartment. He says he’s looking for Lushion, but Natalie says he’s not there. He explains who he is and says Lushion isn’t answering his phone. Natalie says he’s not picking up for her either. Pete wants to leave a paper bag for Lushion. No doubt it has a copy of the video in it, but he doesn’t tell her that. Natalie asks why he doesn’t just give it to him at the station? Pete says he messed up and he can’t. He also tells her that Lushion moved out of his apartment. She takes the bag. Pete leaves and she doesn’t even open it. That would be the first thing I’d do.

Natalie pushes the TV in front of the door and sits there with a baseball bat.

Brad tells the kids that when they get home from school, Alex will be home. Kelly is also sending her son off to the bus, and asks how Brad is doing. He says Alex is coming home and asks if she’s coming by to say hi. Kelly says Alex isn’t talking to her because she wouldn’t tell Alex about Brad and Marcie. Brad says he’s got to go, but she should go take a look at the sign. Marcie is on the porch and she tells Kelly that Randal put up the sign. She says Louise already tried to take it down, but he put it back up. Kelly suggests destroying it, but Marcie says she thinks he has a few of them. Marcie tells Kelly she should have told her the baby was Randal’s and Kelly says she didn’t know it was. Marcie says she took comfort in thinking that it wasn’t, and now she has comfort in nothing. She said Kelly let Randal blindside her and all she asks of her friends is to tell her the truth. She says Kelly is no friend of hers. Not a good week for Kelly with the friendship thing.

Esperanza tells Claudia to be careful of Eddie, that he’s like a chameleon who will turn into whatever type you like. (Really? I’ve seen no evidence of this whatsoever.) Claudia says she likes Pete and suddenly, Esperanza is a lot friendlier. I don’t think she’s so much jealous about the Eddie thing as she is fearful for Claudia.

The doctor asks Alex if Brad is picking her up. Alex says she’s taking a cab, but the doctor says there won’t be a car seat, so she’ll drive her. Brad suddenly shows up acting like a human being and puzzling the both of them. The doctor tells Alex she has to rest and have no stress. That should be one monumental task. She’ll get stressed trying to avoid stress.The doctor goes to get the baby, and Brad keeps acting like everything’s normal, which would totally be freaking me out. Alex says how sorry she is and that she loves him. He says it’s okay and let’s just get home. Alex asks him what he’s up to and why is he being nice? Brad acts like it’s all peachy keen. Alex says she doesn’t want either herself or the baby to get hurt. Brad still tries to act like nothing’s wrong, but Alex knows something’s up,  and says she doesn’t want to go with him. She’ll get there some other way. The doctor brings the baby in and Alex says she’ll take her up on that ride. Brad says he’ll see her at home.

Eddie stares daggers at Pete when he gets to work. The captain says that the detail has changed, and Pete and Ben will be riding their bikes in South Central. Ben says bikes are never used there and wonders why the captain is making that kind of change. Eddie tells him the frequency channel has changed on the radios and he’s switched Pete’s to only take incoming calls. He tells him to hang back after they get a call about shots being fired and that all hell is going to break loose. What a freaking tool Ben is. Some other guy, whose name I don’t know, is really concentrating on what’s going on, but I have no idea if this means anything.

Pete sees Lushion in the locker room. He asks if he’s talked to Natalie. The phone rings with Natalie’s ID, but  it’s Lushion’s son, little Frank. He tells Lushion what happened with Eddie. Lushion says to give Natalie the phone. Lushion asks her what Eddie wanted. Natalie says Eddie told her Lushion crossed him on a drug deal. Lushion asks if Eddie broke down the door and tazed her. Natalie hems and haws, so Lushion knows Frank was telling the truth. Lushion asks if she was hurt and she says he’s the only one who’s hurt her.

Pete has to leave before he can tell Lushion that Natalie has the video.

Whoa. Lushion marches into the office and grabs Eddie’s ass out of his chair and pushes him into the locker room. Eddie has even crazier eyes than Randal. Lushion gets right in his face and asks WTF Natalie? Eddie asks if Lushion told her about him robbing the dealers. Lushion tells him if he ever goes there again, they’ll have a problem. Eddie says he’ll go there however many times he wants to “put the fear of Eddie into your dumb bitch’s head.” Holy! Lushion shoves Eddie away and pulls the fire alarm. Then he shoots Eddie like a million times. He tells him next time he won’t aim at his vest. I honestly thought he was killing him.

Commercial break. Yay! Even though this is the finale of If Loving You is Wrong, January is bringing The Haves and the Have Nots back.

Everyone is wondering what the blip is happening at the station house. Lushion, who is suddenly back in the office, says it must be a false alarm or something. Lushion asks Steve where Pete is because Pete had something to tell him. Steve says they’re patrolling the South Side and Lushion says that’s suicide. Steve tells him to take it up with the captain. Lushion tries to radio Pete, but can’t get through. Steve is like, oh dear, must be a bad connection. A-hole.

Lushion says he has a private matter to take care of. Steve says he’d better not be going after Pete. Lushion says, bye, Felicia!

This is not looking good. Pete and Ben on bikes in a place where there’s a thug every two feet. Pete is getting the idea the radio isn’t working well. FA. If I was him, I’d quit right there and go home. These four guys come out from nowhere and start shooting the place up. Ben hangs back as instructed, and these guys walk down the street, shooting everything and everywhere. Pete slides behind a dumpster and starts to shoot back. I feel sick. He’s calling for Ben and trying to radio for back-up. I hate Eddie with a passion, but I know he’ll get his eventually. They always do. Pete tries to run and gets totally shot up. I guess he’s wearing a vest, but he falls. Ben looks as sick as I feel and he should. OMG – Pete is trying to radio “officer down.”

Alex arrives home and Brad is still doing the nice thing with the doctor. He tells Alex welcome home and asks if she saw the sign. He tells her Randal did it. How did this woman find the almost craziest two guys in this town?

Oh-ho! Brad tells Alex that her parents are here. And there they are! They’re totally racist jerks and Brad set this up. Her mom is in the kitchen, while her dad swills beer and doesn’t even acknowledge her. Alex’s mom tells her Brad rented them a fancy car and they drove all the way there to see the baby. Alex’s mother walks toward her and the baby, and Alex looks like she’s going to throw up.

Takeaway points to consider:

Randall is batsh*t crazy. And possibly dangerous. Even his own mother wants his wife to leave him, and is willing to help fund that.

Eddie is even crazier and even more dangerous.

Brad is crazy like a fox.

Lushion turned out to be the craziest one of all, but in a good way

There’s a shootout at the end of every finale episode.

Bravo, Tyler Perry, you did it again.

Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles

JoshF pulls out a spreadsheet and tells JoshA he’s looked up how much he racks up in sales. He says JoshA doesn’t do the numbers he says he does, and he has the numbers to prove it. He says he does $220 million in sales while JoshA does only $110 million. No comment. I’m guessing this kind of stuff must be just for the show. How on earth would these guys have either the time or inclination for this middle school nonsense?

Madison is helping a friend sell a beach house in Malibu. He must be Malibu Broker Barbie. The friend, Emily, is out of town, and it’s getting down to the wire as there’s a 24 hour time limit on a house he thinks she’ll really want. He leaves 5000 messages and she finally calls him back. Emily tells him if they’ve gotten such a good offer, why not wait? He says because it’s been on the market a year and she’s only gotten one offer. OMG – she’s like the people who want you to sell stuff on eBay for them.

James says despite the antics of the two Joshes, they have 5 offers for the Tower Hill property, which they’ll be presenting all at once in a half hour. They call the various brokers and get a little bidding war going. No surprise, the deal gets closed.

JoshA is selling a property for his Russian client, Max. By his definition, it’s classic house on the outside and modern on the inside. He’s having an open house with fabulous food. The brokers love the house, but there’s construction going on next door – for the next six months. The construction is definitely a sale block.

JoshF and his posse go to Rodeo Drive for some shopping. Josh says when he closes a deal, he likes retail therapy afterward. He gets a call about a client, Julie, that took a pass on a house she thought was too pricey. (Again, we’re talking about price differences that seem meaningless to me when it’s millions.) The owners want to know if she’s still interested. She is, but at the same price she wanted the last time. A deal is made. JoshF now gets to list Julie’s house.

James and Valeria are playing with the kids. It looks like they have their own Chuck E. Cheese in the house, since there’s a playroom full of those balls you roll around in. David is going to propose to his girlfriend, Adrian, and he drops by to show them the ring. No surprise, it’s a stunner. He’s going to do it while on a trip to Italy they have planned.

JoshA gets an architect friend to check out the construction next to the property he’s trying to sell. He wants an honest perspective as to how long it’s going to go on.  His friend says it will be lucky if it’s done in 12 months. Not good. Josh calls Max and tells him that they have to reduce the price because of the construction. He wants to lower it by a million dollars. Josh says he’ll still make a load of money and Max says you gotta do what you gotta do.

David’s house is complete and he’s started to show it. It’s nice and all, but geez, these houses always seem so boxy to me. James is hoping that David doesn’t become so attached to the house, he won’t want to let it go when it comes time.

In one of those little side scenes in between commercials, David practices asking Adrian to marry him on James’s little girl, Chloe. She’s a curly-headed angel and it’s very cute. Hey, kid, give that ring back.

JoshF is starting to show Julie’s house. It’s pretty huge and a little less cookie cutter than the others in this episode. It also has the common denominator of a fabulous view. He’s hoping the sale of her house goes more smoothly than her buying a new one did.

James and David meet with Tomar, an agent whose client is interested in David’s house. The figure is lower than David wants, and David says he’ll walk. He tells Tomar he wants closer to asking. Tomar comes back with another offer and David calls Adrian. He wants to make sure they’re together on it. He comes back and says they have a deal.

JoshA is having a book launch party. He says he spent the last two years writing about all his real estate knowledge. He can’t find Heather and one of the other guests says they haven’t seen her since they came in. He checks the ladies room. Yep, she’s there. And she says she’s late.

It’s only by a couple of days, so that’s really no indication of anything. Josh feels badly about everything he’s said recently about not wanting to have kids right now. He says he doesn’t care about anything except Heather, which is admirable. The guests have a toast, and he toasts to Heather.

JoshA says all he wants to do is take Heather home, tell her he loves her, and whatever happens after that, he’s ready. Good for him. And her.

Next week – Heather takes a pregnancy test and JoshA calls his mom.

If Loving You Is Wrong

Randal tries to choke out Marcie. He’s gone absolutely crazy. He says he never threw his affair in her face and always protected her from knowing about it. This isn’t a very good argument. He says it just happened; he didn’t do it on purpose. Ugh! Even worse. Louise tries to intervene, but Marcie says she’ll sleep with Brad again. She’s going to find Alex’s calendar and she’s doing to do it for every time they did. Both of them refuse to leave. Randal says they’ll see who leaves first. Marcie says if he touches her again, his mother is going to be in a black dress watching Marcie piss on his grave. Holy! Tyler Perry can write them. I don’t think Louise should leave these two alone.

Marcie flounces out, saying come watch, and I assume she’s hunting down Brad, since no one has jobs anymore. I can’t believe Randal is supposed to be a psychologist when he’s the weirdest guy on the show. I’d take one look at him and say, no thanks, another doctor please.

Marcie traipses over to Brad’s and lays a big kiss on him. She goes into the house and Brad tells her to go upstairs, that he’s been waiting for her. Louise protests, but it’s useless. Randal drives off. Marcie tells Brad about how Randal tried to choke her. Marcie asks him for the calendar. Brad says she doesn’t want to see it, but she insists. This is all pretty sad.

Brad brings her the calendar. Oooh, she put grades on them too. Marcie says she wants to screw on every date in the book. Brad says there’s something she should know when there’s a knock at the door. It’s Louise, and she takes Marcie out the door. Oops! Here come Kelly and Ramsey. Marcie says it’s not a good time for her to think about real estate and she’ll call him.

Kelly follows her in, asking what happened. Marcie tells her about Randal. Kelly is like, you have to knock it off, and Louise introduces herself. Kelly says Marcie doesn’t even want Brad; she just wants to hurt Randal. Louise says that’s because she’s hurting. Kelly says Marcie needs to brace herself for what might be coming. Marcie says Randal started it and Louise asks if she’s mature enough to finish it.

Eddie is back at work. Pete and Ben are on bike patrol. Pete says something isn’t right about it to Lushion. Eddie tells Pete to be careful in a veiled threat kind of way. Eddie – who has a job, but never does any work – asks Lushion how it’s going and makes small talk. Lushion asks what’s up with Eddie and Ben. Eddie makes a disgusting remark. Lushion tells him he’d better have straightened up. This was kind of a veiled threat too.

Ben points out Claudia to Eddie, and tells him she’s the one who saw the video. Eddie calls over a female detective and asks about Claudia, but the detective runs interference and won’t let him hassle her. A body has been found and Lushion and Eddie have to leave. Natalie blocks Lushion’s way out and says they need to talk. Obviously, now is not a good time. Lushion says he’ll call her.

Natalie pulls Esperenza to the side. She asks what’s up with her and Eddie. Esperanza says blah-blah-blah about how Eddie says he’s changed. Natalie asks if Lushion is in trouble. She tells Esperanza that Eddie robbed a drug dealer. Oh, she thinks Lushion is in on it because his bank account shows a lot of money. Esperanza says Eddie does have a lot of cash. Natalie says so does Lushion. Esperanza wants to confront Eddie. Natalie thinks Esperanza should just shake loose from Eddie and thinks if Lushion got away from Eddie, he’d be better off. Natalie makes her promise not to tell where she got the information from.

We’re at the cartel guy’s compound. I always think it looks weird when people have what looks exactly like living room furniture outside. Where’s the aluminum and webbed chaise lounges? Julius’s father tells him he has vengeance on the brain, and he needs to stop because he’ll end up in jail or worse and that will kill his father. He says it will be the end of their cartel.

His father says the reason he employs small time dealers is that they have street cred and can get information. He says don’t make enemies of people who can be your friends, or something like that. His father is afraid that when the cartel gets passed down, Julius will make a mess of things.

Eddie lets himself in to Esperanza’s house. She tells him give her the key and get out. He says he just wants to talk and she says they have nothing to talk about. She says go talk to the whore he had there last week. Eddie says she didn’t mean anything, which just makes it worse. She says the whore used her perfume and stole Eddie’s daughter’s earrings from the bathroom. He says said whore is dead. Which makes it worse again. She lets it slip about him robbing the drug dealer. He asks if Lushion told her. Esperanza says too bad, it doesn’t matter, and get out. He refuses.

Juan and Julius are casing the burger place and Faun again. Juan says she picks up the money every day. I’m surprised her father didn’t tell her to do it at different times. Julius says his dad likes Juan but he doesn’t. Julius wanted him to shoot a cop, but he shot up the whole place to make it look random. Julius says now his money is gone and the cop is still alive. Julius wants Eddie to kill Joey to send a message that he’s tough.

Natalie and Esperanza are visiting Alex in the hospital. She says she’s being sprung tomorrow. Kelly joins the crowd, but Alex is kind of cold. Kelly tells Natalie has been approved for the loan. Alex isn’t excited at all about going home and she says Kelly knows why. Kelly is like, huh? and Alex says she knew Brad and Marcie had sex in the shed. She saw the video. Then she brings up how Kelly told Marcie to look closer for Peppa (her code name in the affair with Randal). Kelly is like, oh, I see, you’re mad at me for what you did. She says she can’t even look at Marcie right now. Alex says Kelly should have told her and tells Kelly to get out. The other girls protest, but Alex says Marcie is not her friend.  Alex wants everyone to leave.

Lushion calls Natalie and she says she needs to talk in person. He says he needs to talk too, but he’ll wait until he gets home. She says he means “her place.” Ouch!

Brad drives to whatever backwater place Alex is from. Her father asks if Brad is lost. He says he’s there to announce the new baby’s arrival. Brad says he tried to call, but I don’t think they have phones there. Brad asks if Alex’s mother is there and her father says she’s lying down. Brad asks if they don’t want to see the baby. Alex’s mother comes to the door. I hate to say this, but her haircut alone tells me she doesn’t live there. Brad asks if she wants to see the baby. Obviously, he’s trying to get these racist a-holes to come and see that the baby is Black. Brad doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere, so he finally leaves.

The nurse brings the baby to Alex to nurse. Ha-ha! She says Alex’s blood pressure is good. I’ll bet not for long. The nurse says if it stays that way, she’ll be able to go home tomorrow. When Alex barely responds, she asks if Alex is okay. Alex says yes, and the nurse leaves.

Stalker Randal arrives.

General Hospital

Anna is a mess, dropping things everywhere. NuShrink helps her pick stuff up and asks her if the St. John’s Wort is working. He suggests melatonin as well, but says only honesty will get to the root of her problem. He says whatever’s bothering her will continue until she gets to the root cause.

Maxie is getting things going. She’s at (where else?) The Floating Rib, working with her laptop and phone. Lulu comes in and says she’d left a message that Valerie and Dante were together last night.

Michael and Sabrrrina have scheduled an appointment for a sonogram. Elizabeth comes in looking for Jason and mistakenly calls him Jake. I’ve done that too. Michael leaves and Sabrrrina says that Elizabeth is afraid Jason won’t come back to her when he’s done with his mission.

Jason shows up at Spinelli’s house in Portland. Georgie and Ellie aren’t there. Spinelli says it’s gratifying to see his old friend and he missed him. Jason says he’s sorry he doesn’t remember, but Spinelli says he’s just grateful that Jason is alive. Jason says it’s all due to Spinelli and Spinelli says that fate brought him back together with the people who love him. Jason says Helena is the one who brought him back and he’s out to get answers.

Sam tells Patrick that Jason is going after the Cassadines and that he’ll need back up. Patrick asks when she’s leaving. At least he knows her pretty well. Sam says he hasn’t answered her messages. She says what he’s doing is dangerous and she’ll need him. Patrick says she’s doing it for herself, not Jason.

The two stooges, Valerie and Dante, pat themselves on the back because they caught the perp or whatever. Valerie says it was exciting, but she made a rookie move by falling asleep.

Lulu tells Maxie about how she called Dante, but he couldn’t talk. She thought nothing of it, but then saw Dante in the car with Valerie’s head on his shoulder. Maxie says she shouldn’t jump to conclusions. Good point. That seems to be what’s gotten everyone into trouble lately. Maxie suggests they check Dante’s email. They see one from Valerie, but it’s like that joke where it turns out to be a dentist. It sounds like she’s talking about sleeping with him, but she’s really talking about the stakeout.

Michael comes by the police station and says Jason has given him proxy to use his ELQ shares against Nicholas. He wants to press charge against Nicholas for corporate espionage.

Sabrrrina says she knows what it’s like when an old love comes back. Elizabeth continues with her pipedream of how Jason is going to come back and be crazy about her.

Sam says Patrick loves her because of what Jason changed in her. She’d come to town as a con artist (I’d forgotten that!) and after she met him, things changed. She says he needs her and Patrick gets pissed.

Spinelli accesses the Cassadines mainframe. Jason apologizes for laying all this on him. Spinelli says Jason befriended him when he was anti-social and ostracized. He says that Jason helped him get offline and live life for real, and he can never repay him. Jason says he wishes he could be the guy so many people love but he doesn’t know how. Spinelli says he doesn’t have to do anything, just be himself.

Maxie is working her phone and laptop again. Valerie comes in and orders a lot of food, saying she needs it after the night she had. Maxie stomps over to her table to confront her.

Patrick talks to Anna about what happened with Emma. The description of the strange woman fits no one they recognize. He tells her that Jason took off and Sam wants to help. Anna says that’s what she should do, startling me.

Sam is daydreaming about early times with Jason. Elizabeth shows up and Sam says she hasn’t heard from him. Elizabeth says she’s glad Sam’s not chasing after him. Too bad, so sad, says Sam, because she’s planning on it. Ah-ha! in Nelson voice.

Jason tells Spinelli that no matter what he does, a good woman who loves him will get hurt. Spinelli should know all about that, since he went through it with Maxie and Ellie, but the difference is that Elizabeth is not a good woman. She’s a scheming shrew.

Commercial break. It’s the candy kisses that play “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” For the love of all that’s holy, it’s not even Thanksgiving yet. I once heard Christmas music being played in Macy’s at the end of September. I asked the cashier if it started to bug her by December. She said, “It’s bugging me now.”

Jason says that in all his struggles with memory loss, it never once crossed his mind that he was Jason. Spinelli says that he still came back anyway, and that his instincts seem to be intact and he should trust them.

Elizabeth says Sam needs to have some respect and get out of the way when Jason comes back to her. Sam tells her that her using the word respect is a joke and that Jason needs her. She’s going after him and Elizabeth needs to get out of her house. Bye, Felicia!

Anna says Sam is taking a risk, but Patrick can’t save her by being controlling. He has to trust that she loves him.

Sabrrrina cancels the sono. Question mark over my head. Is she afraid the baby looks like Carrrlos already and Michael will notice?

Lulu shows up at the police station. She tells Dante she saw him with her slut cousin. She saw them cuddled up and he’s a liar. She says he’s been sleeping with Valerie all along and mentions the email.

Valerie changes her order to a sandwich to go. Maxie confronts her about being in the car with Dante. She says if she’s so concerned, she should stop sending Dante love emails. Valerie is like what the what, how did you see it? Maxie says it wasn’t that hard.

Sabrrrina asks Anna If there’s been any progress in finding Carrrlos’s killer. Anna says it’s a cold case. Sabrrina says she realizes she’s not family, but that she was close to him and despite what he’d done, he deserves justice. Anna gets all weird and has to go.

Sam calls Patrick and says she has to find Jason, but it has nothing to do with the two of them, meaning her and Patrick.

Spinelli locates Helena on a private island. Jason asks him to find a vantage point with a cover and an access point. Jason rattles off a few things he needs. Spinelli says they’re finding their old rhythm.

Maxie says instead of pulling Valerie and Lulu’s sorry excuse for a husband out of the car, Lulu came to her. Valerie says it’s against the law to hack into an email account. Maxie says Lulu had the password, and Valerie must have known that she would see the email that thanked him for “last night.”

A-hole Dante makes noises about it being a federal offense to hack in email. Nice try and good way to get Lulu even more pissed. Dante tells her Valerie was talking about the stakeout. What’s wrong with those two morons (Dante and Valerie) that they think they can get on their high horses and point fingers at Lulu and Maxie? Arggh! I can’t stand either one of them.

Anna goes to see nuShrink. What the blip is his name and why won’t someone say it? Anna says he’s right. She has serious issues and needs help. She wants to schedule an appointment.

Valerie says she’s not after Dante, but if she was, Lulu is giving her all the help she needs. She says if Maxie wants to be Lulu’s friend, she should not encourage her anger and tell her to take Dante back before she loses him. Maxie tries to text Lulu not to confront Dante. A little late.

Lulu and Dante talk in private. He says if she can no longer trust him, maybe they are done. What a twonk.

Michael asks where Sabrrrina is at the hospital desk. The nurse tells him she cancelled the sono. Patrick tells Sabrrrina that he’s sorry for what he put her through because he’s now in the same position. Another idiot with a too late apology.

Spinelli has fixed up Jason’s phone for cyber support, and has gotten a private jet to take him to Greece and then Cassadine Island. Jason asks who’s paying. Sam says him. Surprise! He has a lot of money in offshore accounts. Maybe it’s not so bad being Jason.

Oh for Pete’s sake. Elizabeth wants to come with Sam. Sam gets a call from Spinelli telling her what’s going on. He says Jason will need back up and who better than her.

Ha-ha! Tomorrow Sam is going to throw a drink in Elizabeth’s face on the plane.

Million Dollar Listing: LA

Heather tells JoshA they have a mother/daughter developer team looking for agents to sell a 12-unit property. Heather says that they called her and she thinks they want a female agent, but she would like his back-up. Josh wants to split it three ways (his brother being the third). Heather is hesitant, but says okay.

JoshF is still looking for a property for his hard-to-please client, Julie. I thought they’d found something, and so did he, but the deal fell apart. I am so loving Josh’s denim jacket. I’m betting it’s crazy expensive, since I don’t think these guys shop at Old Navy. He contacts Madison about the possibility of doing a deal together.

Is that a Rottweiler Madison has? Whatever it is, it’s cute. Madison, who seems to have slipped back into this show even though he’s not on the credits (what do the Wives call it? A friend of the show?), is having an open house. Whenever I see these open houses, I always wish I could go to one on a lark and scarf down free food, drinks and views. The property has been on the market for a while, which is somewhat of a drawback. I got my house for less because of that.

James is having a birthday party for one of his daughters, and of course it’s fabulous, filled with fairies (the winged kind), bubbles and face painting. I think I just saw a unicorn. It must be nice to have mega bucks. Or have a father that does. Forget the open house, I want to go to this party.

James has a developer guest that has a property he wants James and David to handle. They toast with tacos to the future deal.

Heather’s excited because she and Josh haven’t done a listing together in a while. JoshA say’s it’s like date night with commission. Heather tells him he’s just there for eye candy and to remember that the clients are looking for the female facet.

The house Madison is showing is gorgeous. It has parking on the property, which is unusual for the area. It’s a beachfront property and one broker is concerned about high tide. Madison says to get a “dry beach” property costs a huge amount of money, but the house is 60 years old and still standing.

Heather and JoshA check out the 12-unit property. The penthouse is amazing and you can see the Hollywood sign from the balcony. They talk price and Josh has a hard time not taking the lead. There are no comps for the building, so Heather suggests they go to pre-sale with the higher price the developer wants and see what happens. Josh interjects that they’ll need to stage the penthouse and another unit, but the developer balks at footing the bill, so Heather says they’ll do it.

James and David have an old Hollywood property that I love. James says that unless it’s some kind of historical property, it’s all about location and most likely a tear down.  I want to cry because no one cares about old, cool homes anymore. James suggests they call both Joshes to help get as many potential buyers in as they can.

Madison is showing the beachfront house again. Oooh, it has built in cupboards I didn’t notice before. While he’s dealing with one client, another shows up with an offer that’s $312K over asking price. The broker’s client doesn’t want a bidding war and wants to wrap it up in 24 hours. The broker he’d been working with wants to give him an offer as well, and he tells her she’d better move fast.

Heather and JoshA are setting up the open house. Heather is worried about no shows because it’s raining and apparently no one leaves their house in L.A. when it rains. The staging looks fantastic and so does the food. Rain or not, a lot of brokers show up. Josh says today is about testing the prices the developers want. They get two full price offers right off the bat. The developer is pretty excited. They have 6 other interested people as well.

Whenever I see a brand name like Bulgari, I think of those two used-to-be porn star girls on Saturday Night Live.

James and David have generated interest in the old Hollywood property. JoshF shows up with a client. Waaah! I love this house and can’t believe someone is probably going to flatten it. Okay, this guy is speaking my language and is more interested in it as a family home. James and David want to present all offers to their client at the same time on Friday.

Madison can’t get ahold of his client, and is concerned that the phenomenal offer they’ve gotten is going to disappear.

JoshA shows up at James and David’s showing. James says he’s been looking for a project to include JoshA in. Josh says he wants to make some calls. When Josh calls his client, the client has already seen the property with JoshF. It’s the same guy who just made an offer.

JoshF pulls up with the offer. JoshA asks JoshF what his problem is. JoshF says that JoshA tells lies to steal his clients. JoshA says he doesn’t steal JoshF’s listings; the clients come to him after they’ve fired JoshF. JoshF says it’s time to settle things. And if you could follow that, God bless you.

Next week, Heather says she’s “late” while in the ladies room. Either she’s pregnant or they want us to think she is.

What I Watched Today

(random, rambling thoughts on today’s TV)

If Loving You Is Wrong

When the show starts, one of my dogs makes a loud snoring sound. I’m not sure if this is a comment on my choice of programming.

The kids are badgering Brad. They ask when their mother is coming home, and question him about leaving them alone in the house. He says he was next door talking to Marcie, but the kids are smarter than that, saying they know their parents aren’t talking to Marcie and Randal. They know something is wrong. Eddie comes busting in, and tries to order the kids around, but Brad drags him outside where he still gets way too loud, shouting about Randal being the father of Alex’s baby. He pretty much offers to murder Randal.

Mama Louise has made a meal for Marcie. She says she’s going home tomorrow and Marcie hugs her. Marcie asks how she’s going to get over it and Louise says, “Time,” but adds some people never get over it. Marcie says it’s been a while already and Louise says that she must love Randal because she wanted to hurt him so badly. She gives a mini speech about love and hate. Marcie says she feels humiliated and embarrassed about sleeping with Brad. Louise says she needs to stop drinking. Louise says it’s a bad idea to be a chronic drunk when you have a huge problem on your hands.

Eddie is sitting in a truck outside the strip mall. Ben approaches and tells Eddie that he can’t get Pete to come out to meet him. For whatever stupid reason, Ben has his girlfriend with him, and Eddie gets unnecessarily insulting to her. Eddie gives him some pills, says he’s getting out of there, and tomorrow Pete is dead (“Dead! Do you hear me?” Yes, we get it.)

Pete is once again trying to look at that stupid video. New girl Claudia interrupts him. He can’t catch a break with that thing. She gets some coffee and he sees some stuff that I have no idea what it is. Why the blip does he want to do this in the middle of the precinct? It’s hard to sneak around in a room full of people. Ben comes in and Claudia says she’s sorry, and that she saw part of the tape. I get it. It’s the tape of Ben getting shot and not by his own hand as he claimed.

Ben calls Eddie and tells him Pete saw the video. He tells him that Claudia saw it too. Now Eddie is going to come back to work and kicks whatever girl he’s with out of bed. He just constantly barks orders at everyone and he’s getting on my nerves.

Natalie drops by Kelly’s office. Kelly tells her that it’s going to be difficult for her to get a loan, but if she applies with Lucien, they can definitely get it. Kelly has a lot of good things to say about Lucien. Natalie is startled at how much money he has in the bank. Kelly asks if Natalie filled out the forms and signed his name. Natalie says yes, and Kelly is like, you can’t do that, that she can get fired. Natalie is insistent about wanting to know where Lucian got $250K.

Ben approaches Pete at work and wants to know why Pete is so distant. Pete says he’s just busy and to get lost. Uh-oh. Eddie walks in. It annoys me just looking at him. He stops Pete from leaving the room. Eddie wants the video. Pete plays stupid, but he’s not fooling Eddie. Pete keeps saying he doesn’t know what Eddie is talking about. Eddie gets all In his face and he tells him to open his locker or die. Pete says he’s going to the captain. Eddie says if he does, he won’t live one day on the streets. His face looks crazy and he says he gets off on shooting people.

Damn. This kid still stands his ground. Eddie starts slamming him around when Lucien walks in. Lucien wants to know why Eddie isn’t still convalescing, and Eddie says he was released, and woo-hoo, they’ll be riding together again.

After Eddie leaves, Lucien asks what’s up and Pete says Eddie is just being a dick. Lucien knows there’s more to it than that. Pete is practically crying and wants to know why Lucien can’t be his partner anymore. Lucien says he has to ride with Eddie because they were originally partners. Lucien tries again to get the truth from Pete, but for whatever reason, Pete won’t tell him.

Ramsey is out mowing the lawn, shirtless, and Kelly can’t help but notice. Me too. He’s feeling pretty badly about the loss of his mother, and Kelly invites him in. He says he’s all sweaty, and she says the sweatier the better. Not really, but I know she’s thinking it.

Alex wants to get out of the hospital, but the doctor says her blood pressure still needs to be monitored. She says Alex has to keep her stress level down. Alex says she’ll try. The doctor says on the upside, the baby is doing great.

Brad confuses all of us by showing up with flowers. He asks for a moment alone, and the doctor says no, since the monitor shows Alex’s blood pressure going through the roof. The doctor says he must be trying to torture her to death and he should be ashamed of himself. Brad says Alex should be ashamed and she says she is. He says he has a big surprise for her when she gets home, and I’m wondering why the doctor would even discharge her in his care.

Ramsey wants Kelly to call Marcie about selling the house. She says it’s probably not the best time, but calls anyway. When Marcie answers, she explains and puts Ramsey on the phone.

At the burger place Faun comes in to pick up the register bag. She tries to flirt with Joey, and he pretends not to care. Faun tries to kiss him in an employee room, but he says some other time because he doesn’t need grief from his mother. They kiss good-by and he tells her to be careful with the money, which is like telling us something is going to happen.

Yep, the drug dealer guys are outside watching. Juan tells (another) Randal that she goes to 17 locations and it’s a lot of money. Randal says that if Juan doesn’t get the money he owes him, he’s dead.

Louise says she thinks Randal is becoming a new man. Marcie chokes on her coffee. Randal is outside, staring at the shed, thinking of good times there with Alex. He actually looks like he’s out of his mind. Marcie has to go to work selling Ramsey’s house. There’s some chatting between Marcie and Louise, when all of a sudden, Randal comes in and grabs Marcie by the hair and pulls her to the ground. Whoa.

General Hospital

I had an extended lunch with a friend today, so I had to DVR this and give you a condensed version.

The first thing I see is Sonny dropping a coffee pot and I laugh.

Dante and Sonny talk. Sonny is totally pissed at Carly for not being at his beck and call. Carly visits Jason and wants him to talk to Sonny, since obviously she’s not getting anywhere. Jason acts like he’s all busy (with what? it’s not like he has to go to work – or on the honeymoon) and she asks him to do it for her.

Nina wants to get a job because she thinks it will be fun and I think she should go back to Shadybrook. She wants to be a fashion editor and contribute to society. While she is wearing a fabulous dress, I have my doubts that being a fashion editor is a contribution to anything except magazines. Mushy stuff between her and Franco.

Boring stuff with Julian and Alexis. Julian is having tax problems, and owes a bunch of money.

Sonny keeps acting like an idiot, telling Dante that Carly thought “Jake’s“ (will the quotation marks ever end?) wedding was more important than him. I refrain from throwing a brick at the TV. Only because I don’t have one. Dante says Sonny will get Avery back and he’ll get Lulu back because he lives in a dream world.

Lulu tells Laura about the sizzle reel debacle, and asks her to watch Rocco because she doesn’t want to be there when Dante comes to see him. Laura is like wtf? and Lulu starts crying and asking why, why, why?

Maxie gets on Dillon’s case. She tells him skywriting would have been a better idea than what he did, although she probably would have done the same thing. She tells him the fundraising was a success and they have to find a new place to film. He says he’s abandoning the project because he’s a big baby. Maxie says the mantra of GH – what about me?

Obrecht shows up at Nina’s place. Nina leaves for her job interview. Franco wants his hospital job as an art therapist back. Obrecht is fine with that, but she says he has to go through a psychological interview due to new rules.

Laura tells Lulu to take some time and gives her props for putting Rocco first.

Carly drags Jason’s ass to Sonny, who immediately acts like big baby number two, not listening to her. Carly tells Jason he’s going to have to tell him who he is and he does.

Nina comes to Julian’s office to interview for the job of fashion editor at Crimson. Does he own The Sun too? No, wait. That was One Life to Live. Julian tells her to go to HR,

Maxie tells Dillon that neither Spielberg nor Coppola ever shut down production because of girl trouble. I say that’s because they probably never had any girlfriends. Dillon says she’ll have to give back the donor money, but not to give up, because no matter where she lands, they’ll be lucky to have her.

Laura invites Lulu to stay at Windermere. Isn’t that Nicholas’s castle? Enter Dante.

At first, Sonny acts all stupid, not believing Jason is Jason. He says Carly invented the DNA test and she tells him he’s an a-hole. Okay, I just wish she told him that. She tells him to really look at Jason, past his face. Sonny takes Jason’s hand in his and they kiss. Okay, that didn’t happen either and I’m actually making fun of what’s a tender moment. Sonny realizes that it’s Jason and I like Sonny for the first time in a while. Jason wants desperately to leave.

Dante wants to talk to Lulu, saying they can get past it. She says she doesn’t want to get past it.

Nina has what passes as an interview with Julian. He asks that stupid question about where do you see yourself in five years, and she answers the way we’d all like to – she wants to run the magazine. Julian is like okay, why not?

Jason says he doesn’t remember being Sonny’s friend, which is kind of sad. Sonny tells him all about their friendship, and gives me the side of Sonny I like. He says that Jason never realized how much he was valued and lived a dangerous life. Sonny tells him that he’s home.

Laura talks to Dante, telling him that he needs to take some time too. She says if he doesn’t give Lulu some space, he’ll definitely lose her.

Dillon tries to apologize to Lulu. She says he may have done her a favor in the long run, but he humiliated her in the process.

Alexis freaks out over Julian putting Nina in charge of the magazine. She says that Nina will run it into the ground. Then the light bulb comes on. Julian will have a tax write off. You know what’s going to happen though, right? She’s going to make it a success.

Jason says he doesn’t think he’ll ever remember. That if being surrounded for the past year by all these people who care about him didn’t jar a memory, nothing will. He says enough already, he can’t do this. Carly says she and Sonny need him. He says they need Jason and he doesn’t know who Jason is or how to be him.

Lulu tells Dillon that she wants nothing to do with Dante, Valerie or him. Then she plants a huge kiss on him and I get totally confused.

Maxie returns Nina’s check to Franco. Nina comes in and tells them about her new job. Maxie wonders why Nina got hired when she doesn’t know squat and Nina hires her as an assistant. (All dream jobs should come this easy.)

Sonny is cool with Carly now. He says he wishes things were different. Don’t we all, Sonny. Don’t we all.

Jason goes home to Elizabeth’s house and has a flash of a memory about Sonny.

Million Dollar Listing: LA

JoshA and James have buried the hatchet. They talk about how they got into real estate, and discuss having kids. James has three, and Josh is on the fence about it. James asks why the two Joshes can’t make nice with one another.  Not only is that not happening, JoshA has recently taken a listing out from under JoshF .

JoshF is showing a house to a client who has a long list of wants.  It’s one of those houses right on the beach. It’s kind of odd designed, half Spanish Inquisition, half Flintstones. While she likes it, Josh seems to think they can do better.

JoshA is showing the overpriced house that he’d only gotten one offer for even after lowering the price. The couple is looking for a weekend house. Must be nice, huh? All of these houses always seem fabulous to me and the views are always spectacular. Well, except for that house with the apartment building thisclose.

James tells David about his meeting with JoshA. James talks about his lack of success in finding a commercial property for his client who wants a space on Sunset. James makes a call and finds out that the Hustler building (yes, that Hustler) has been looked at by some developers.

JoshA gets a wakeup call from his client who just got back from Russia about the house he agreed to lower the price on. The client is getting itchy to move on, but Josh has some prospects. Josh says consider the fire under his ass lit.

JoshF’s client wonders if there’s a house they haven’t seen yet. Josh says he can’t figure out if she’s picky, or if she really doesn’t want to move. He says he’s shown her everything in her budget, so he goes higher. Showing first, and telling the price later. These beach houses all look the same from the outside, very oblong and boxy, but the insides are pretty fantastic. This woman seems kind of uncomfortable, but I get the feeling that it’s being on camera.

David wants his girlfriend, Adrienne, to consider selling the house they built together. At first, Adrienne is really put off by it, but she sees the wisdom in selling in a hot market and having money to put away for the future. She tells him to go ahead. Lots of kissy, kissy.

James has difficulty getting through to the representative for the Hustler building, which is being sold off market, but his tenacity pays off. He tells the client they have to be low key, and they pretend to shop in what must be the Hustler store, because it’s filled with naughty clothing and sundries. They get a private showing of the building, and James talks about adding floors and the view. Why do they care about the view if it’s not residential? Too good of a view and no one will work. Price is no object, so James has to find out what other buyers have offered, and offer more.

JoshA gets an offer for the overpriced then lowered price place. He has to bring girlfriend Heather’s mini Yorkie dog, Tom Brady (yes, named after that Tom Brady) with him for some reason. This would definitely make me more apt to make a deal, but I don’t know about his client.

JoshF’s client does not want to spend $8 million, and low-balled the seller. They counter with $8.1 million. The client does not want to come up, and it becomes obvious she doesn’t really want to move. Way to waste the broker’s time. While these guys make skabillion dollars a year, I still don’t like to see anyone’s time wasted like that.

JoshA arrives at the client’s house and it looks like he’s interrupted an appointment with another listing agent. What’s the matter with these people? The client tells him he’s meeting with different agents for the property they’re at and acts like Josh isn’t serious about things because he brought the dog. Josh calls his brother, Max, who has the better relationship with the buyer and gives him the client’s counter offer. The buyer counters with a slightly better, best and final, offer. Josh says he personally thinks it’s a good offer and the client agrees. And finally smiles. He also gives Josh the other listing. I sometimes wonder how much of the clients’ attitudes are for the camera.

James brings his client to the Hustler building where they’re going to meet with Larry Flynt’s team. The meeting table is normal, but the chairs are these amazing creations with brocade Victorian scenes on them. One of the reps says that they have an offer already of $18 million. He says they’ll also need time to relocate the store. Since the client needs time for permits and such, that’s okay. They do have a long term tenant that has 9 years to go on their lease. The client is willing to swing $300K the tenant’s way. They make a bunch of negotiations I don’t understand, but it looks good, and they’re going to bring in Larry Flynt. While I’m not exactly a fan of his work, I have to admit, he’s an interesting character.

James wants the deal done today because he doesn’t want the competition knowing their game. Larry comes in and I wonder why his outfit looks like something off of a Kmart rack. Larry okays the deal and I think they just brought him on as window dressing for the show, since he didn’t contribute much. The final sale price is $19,050,000 and James’s commission is $457,500. I can’t say he didn’t work for this one, but I’d probably retire right there.

Next week, the two Joshes butt heads for the billionth time.
