What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

The Walking Dead

Carlson is a bloody mess in a tangle of the dead. Daryl stands there as troopers mark corpses. Daryl goes up to the roof, where, Lance is telling Aaron and Gabriel, this not a good look. It puts him in a tough spot. He wants to run through it again, just to make sure. So they walked into a tense firefight, where a bunch of crazed violent strangers killed all of his trained and armed soldiers, but not the one-armed guy and the priest? They escaped, called him, and here we are. That’s their story? Aaron says, that’s basically it, and Lance asks what Daryl thinks. Daryl says they’ve all been on the road a long time; they can handle themselves. If they say it happened, then it happened. Lance says he has another theory; hear him out. It doesn’t make sense for crazed violent strangers to leave them alive, unless they’re protecting those crazed violent strangers. Aaron asks if he’s calling them liars, and Gabriel says, Lance screwed up, and they barely survived. They’re not taking the fall for this. Lance says he’s not trying to ruffle any feathers. He’s just doing his job. At the end of the day, they want the same thing – justice. Aaron says, of course, and Lance tells the troopers, keep searching. There are still monsters on the loose, and they have to smoke them out… starting with Hilltop. They should at least know dangerous people might be headed their way. He tells Daryl, suit up, soldier, and Daryl looks at Aaron and Gabriel before following Lance back down.

The alarm clock goes off, and Princess tells Mercer that they’re pretty awesome at this sex thing. They’re both adults, and they’ve both had lots of sex. He says he loves listening to her talk, and she tells him,  dude, these crack of dawn super soldier wake ups suck ass. He seems like he’s always awake. She thinks he’s part robot. He says, she’s got him. Beep-beep-beep. They kiss, and Princess asks, what’s the deal with his eyes being open all night; is it some kind of meditation thing? He says, maybe he’s basking in the afterglow. He sleeps fine. She says, it didn’t look like basking; more like stewing. He asks if she’s getting at something, and she says she’s just making sure he’s cool. He says he’s fine, and she says, cool, but if he needs to get anything off his chest, contrary to popular opinion, she’s good at listening. He tells her that he said he’s fine, and she says, message received; loud and clear. See? She’s good at listening. The alarm goes off again, and she says he’s going to be late for work. She turns over as he gets up, but she doesn’t go back to sleep.

Eugene lets Kelly and Connie into his apartment, apologizing for the early hour, but the discussion isn’t ready for public broadcast. Connie signs, and Kelly asks if he’s okay. It seemed urgent. He says, Rosita had a harrowing experience on the job. We see Rosita beside him, and he says, Connie being a truth telling newsperson, he thought Rosita should give her the deets. Rosita says, she and Daryl were forced by Sebastian and his cronies to steal some cash. They found a woman there, and found out it had been done before, but no one ever made it out alive. The authorities wanted them to stay quiet, but she thinks about that woman and what she went through. There are good people here, and they need to know the truth. Connie signs, and Kelly hands Rosita the paper that had been slipped under Connie’s door. She says, it’s a list of names, people who are ex-troopers. They tried to investigate it further, but kept hitting dead ends. She points out April Martens on the list, and says, that’s her, right? Rosita says, there are more names than people who were sent. Maybe the two things are related, but they need to know more. Connie signs, and Kelly says, if the Miltons are involved,  they could keep those people locked up. They need inside access. Eugene says he might know someone who could provide that.

Carol sends Judith and RJ off to school, and RJ waves to Ezekiel. Ezekiel tells them, drink deep from the cup of knowledge and listen to their teachers. Carol tells him that he’s looking lively, and he says, losing a tumor the size of a grapefruit works wonders. He’s healing well. He’s been thinking about what she said about how he reacted. He never thanked her properly. She says he doesn’t have to, but he says he does. He can’t imagine the lengths she went to. He took her words to heart and he’s been doing something extra with the time he’s been given. He’d like to show her, but she says she can’t today; she’s swamped at work. He says, at the bakery? but she says, no, another job. It’s complicated. It all went sideways, and there are things she needs to figure out to fix it. It’s better he doesn’t know. Just trust her. He says he does trust her, more than anyone. You’d think this place would make life easier, but it feels like there’s more grey instead. Carol says, rain check? and he says, guaranteed. He’s getting healthy again. She’s stuck with him. She says she can live with that, and walks off.

Lance and his troopers come to a zombie conga line going across the road in the woods. Lance holds up his hand, signaling for them to stop, and tells Aaron and Gabriel to take care of it. He heard they can handle themselves. What’s the problem? They walk to the front, and Daryl goes with them. They approach the zombies, who are reforming into a group, and Aaron smashes the head right off of the first one with his mace hand. Gabriel slices the next one’s head in half diagonally, and Daryl shoots two with one bullet. Lance looks like he’s getting off on it, and when all the zombies are downed, Daryl says he saved Lance a bullet, and kicks a head over to him. Lance says, and barely broke a sweat. Nice. He tells the troopers, keep moving, and tells Daryl to put his helmet on. They keep walking, and arrive at Hilltop.

Ezekiel asks Tomi if it’s a bad time, and Tomi says, it’s not the best day, but lets him in. He asks if Ezekiel is feeling okay, but Ezekiel says, it’s about a friend who’s sick and can’t afford treatment. She needs a small procedure, and he was wondering if they could take care of it outside the system. Tomi asks what the procedure is, and Ezekiel says, an appendectomy. He has the necessary equipment, and has secured a sterile area, but they need some supplies. Tomi says, it’s risky, not just for the patient, but for everyone involved. Ezekiel says, she won’t change her mind, and they both understand the risks. He wouldn’t be approaching Tomi if this wasn’t their best option. Tomi says he lost a patient this morning, and that was here in a hospital, but Ezekiel says Tomi is the only one who can do this. Please.

At the town center, or whatever it is, loudspeakers tell everyone to do their part. If you see something, say something. Max sees Eugene and asks what he’s doing here. He tells her, what he needs to talk about required an immediate face-to-face, but he took precautions. He shows her the bag of groceries he’s carrying, and says he’s an ordinary delivery boy. They go to a supply room, and she says, he wants to her to steal secret files? They’re supposed to be staying out of trouble, not looking for it. Just when she thought things were finally going right. He says, Rosita was forced into a situation by Sebastian, and she says, this involved the Miltons? He says, so far, only the young psychopath. People have died, and more are missing. Her brother can corroborate it. He was there. A janitor comes in, and says, sorry, to interrupt, but Max says, the room is all his. She thanks Eugene, taking the bag and giving him a tip, and leaves.

At Hilltop, Lance looks up to see Maggie and Elijah on the wall, and says, good to see you. Maggie asks what he wants, and he says, there are killers on the loose. They’ve lost a lot of men, and he’s hunting them down and the Commonwealth property they stole. Maggie says she doesn’t know anything about it, and Lance says, then she wouldn’t mind if he has a quick look around… to rule them out… for the paperwork. She says she gave him her answer, and Lance looks pissed. He says something to a soldier, and Daryl walks up. He says Lance is going to get people killed if he forces his way in. Lance says he doesn’t have much choice, but Daryl says, let him talk to her. They go in, and nobody gets hurt. Deal? Daryl approaches, and Maggie says, it doesn’t have to be this way. He takes off his helmet, and says, yeah, it does. Nobody is leaving until they look around, but he promises it will be quick. She asks if he expects her to trust Lance, but he says he ain’t asking that. He’s asking her to trust him. She looks at Aaron and Gabriel, and the gate opens. The troopers go in, Daryl nods to Maggie.

Max asks Mercer, whose first name is apparently Mike, what’s going on? He asks her to be specific, and she says, Sebastian pulled a heist, and people went missing. He says it sounds like she already knows, but she says she wants to hear it from him. Why did he keep it from her? He works out with kettlebells while he’s talking, and he says, it’s none of her business. What does she want him to say? This place is not perfect? They’re lucky to be here? None of that sh*t is new. It’s part of his job. She asks if that makes everything okay, but he says, no. People lost their lives because he failed them. He missed it, and it’s his weight to carry, not hers. She says she’s not a little kid. He doesn’t need to play big brother. He tells her, says the girl who was almost caught on the radio a few months ago. He doesn’t want to fight with her. She says, then let her help, but he says, forget it; he fixed it. She says, what about Sebastian? How is it okay letting him walk free? He says, there are 50,000 other lives he’s got to think about. If he goes after Sebastian, what happens to them? Does she think they’re going to let that kind of insubordination slide? What if he disappears? Who keeps this place running? If the Commonwealth falls, more people will die. She says, not everyone views lives as acceptable losses, and he tells her to take it up with her boss. She says, the community listens to him; they look up to him. He says, he’s just a soldier, but she says, he could be more. He could change this place. Then again, maybe she’s just being naïve. Maybe he’s just a poser. She leaves, and he drops the weights he was lifting.

Ezekiel and Tomi get the supplies they need. A soldier goes by the door, and they duck out of sight. Tomi tells Ezekiel that the troopers should move on soon, and they can head to the loading dock. Ezekiel says, for a guy who was worried about coloring outside the lines, Tomi knows what he’s doing, and seems to be enjoying it. Tomi says he did his share of rebellion back in the day. This place has a way of lulling you, and you think, why upset the applecart? Lance says he’s keeping them safe, but is he protecting others or himself? They slip out, and as they round the corner, run straight into a trooper.

Lance uncovers a truck, and asks if it’s new. Maggie says she’s converting the engine, but it doesn’t run. He says, they found tire tracks near the ambush, and not many cars are running these days. Daryl tells him, if he has something to say, just say it, and Lance says, he comes from a long line of gearheads (which I find hard to believe). Does she mind? He looks under the hood, and says, it’s clean for a truck that just sits here; It looks good, and they left a lot of fuel here last time. He looks at something, and says, no wonder it won’t work. The starter relay is disconnected. He hooks it back up, and puts the hood down. He says, let’s test it out, and see if he has the magic touch. He gets in, and turns the key, but nothing happens. He tries a few times, and Maggie walks over to him, and says, you have until sundown. Then you and your people can be on your way. Lance looks at Daryl, who looks disgusted. Lance can’t figure it out.

Tomi and Ezekiel sit at a table, in custody. A trooper opens the door, and Carol comes in. She tells the trooper that she can handle them from here, and thanks him for his discretion. He leaves, and Ezekiel says he was hoping her new job had connections. Tomi asks if they’re screwed, but she says, don’t worry; she has it handled. Is Ezekiel trying to get into more trouble? Ezekiel says, not all trouble is bad trouble. Since he’s already pulled her out of work, what’s a few more minutes?

Ezekiel leads Carol through the animal stalls, and Tomi says, please tell him that his friend is human. Ezekiel goes to a structure that says, veterinary treatment, and inside is a clinic where people are waiting. Carol says, he really has been busy, and Ezekiel says he has a debt to repay. Tomi’s patient Theresa is in the back. They go into another area.

Mercer sees Princess in the hallway, and asks if she’s got a minute. She says, for him, she’s got two, and he says he wanted to apologize for earlier. This whole thing is new to him. Not the sex part, but …. us. She kisses him, and says, listen. She’s got a special sense when somebody is not okay. She’s had a lot of firsthand experience. She might put out a totally sexy carefree fun times vibe, but she can handle the heavy stuff… in case he ever needs it. He says, he killed two of his men and covered it up. He never thought he’d be that guy. That’s not how he was raised. He didn’t cross certain lines… until now. What’s really messing with his head and keeps him up is, he keeps thinking he’d do it again. He’s spent a long time trying to keep it together, be solid for everyone else. It’s all he knows, and he’s good at it, but maybe this place needs something else. Maybe he’s part of the problem. He’s tired. Princess kisses his hand, and suggests they go inside and figure it out together. He nods.

Herschel walks out of the graveyard, and sees Lance poking around behind a building. Lance says he doesn’t know if Herschel remembers him. He heard Herschel has an exciting life. Has he taken any exciting trips lately? Herschel doesn’t say anything, and Lance asks, how about his mom? The last thing Lance would want is for something to happen, especially to Herschel’s mom. He needs Herschel’s help. If he can get the truth, he can fix things. That’s what he does, but he can’t keep people safe if they keep secrets. Think hard. Is there anything Herschel wants to tell him? Herschel says he probably should get his mom, but Lance gets in front of him, and says, Herschel is a good kid. He’s a brave kid. The thing about good kids is, they deserve presents. He found this hat where bad things happened. He takes out Herschel’s baseball cap, and says, it would be a shame to let it go to waste. He puts it on Herschel, and says, he’ll be damned; a perfect fit. What are the odds? Elijah flies in out of nowhere, slamming Lance up against the building. There’s shouting, and the troopers run over, guns drawn, along with Maggie and Daryl, who also have their guns drawn. A trooper tells Elijah to release Lance or he’ll shoot, and Herschel tells Maggie that Lance said something bad was going to happen. Maggie tells Lance, plenty of others have made the mistake of threatening her family, and most of them are dead. Daryl tells Lance, he found nothing, so unless he wants to die for nothing, tell them to drop their guns before something really f***ing bad is going to happen. The F-bomb has officially been dropped by Daryl on sort-of network TV, and the Twitterverse goes wild. Lance says, sorry for the miscommunication, and they leave. BTW, closed captions actually spelled it out too.

Daryl, Aaron, and Gabriel sit around a fire in the woods, and Daryl says, they’re not going back to the Commonwealth. Lance is going to keep searching. Aaron says, if they can’t give him the killers, maybe they can find the guns and buy time. Something is about to go down. Daryl tells them to keep their eyes open. Lance tells a trooper to find something.

Carol says Ezekiel did good, and he says, Theo did most of the hard work, but he admits he feels special. After all they’ve been through, and as close as he came, he got a fresh start. It’s important to him that his friend knows how much he appreciates her. Carol says, it must feel good, and he asks, what’s going on? Carol says she was thinking about the world, and he says, that’s a big subject. Anything specific? She says, the years… the darkness… After everything, in the midst of everything, he’s there, glowing. The light suits him. Ezekiel says, it came from a spark that she helped him find. He says, the darkness is heavy. Some carry more than others, because they’re strong enough to hold the weight. They make the light; she makes the light. She says he knows they’re not getting back together, right? and he laughs. He says, she keeps saying that. Someone runs over, and tells Ezekiel that Theo says he needs to come back; Theresa’s appendix burst. Ezekiel and Carol run back to the makeshift OR, and Tomi puts Ezekiel on breathing duty. He sends Theo to get more antibiotics, and Carol puts in gauze when necessary. I find it amusing that, with all the gore on this show, I’m grossed out watching him do surgery. Tomi tells Ezekiel that he’s doing good, and says, they have to flush the cavity. He asks Carol for saline, and the next thing we know, he’s sewing Theresa up. He says they’ll know more in the next 24 hours, but it looks good. Ezekiel says, see? A small procedure. Nothing to worry about.

Max goes to Eugene’s apartment, and asks if they can talk. He says, he regrets his earlier ambush. It was mighty uncool of him. Max says, stuff is happening, and it’s bad. He tells her, it’s not his intention to put her in a tough spot. If this makes her uncomfortable… She says, it does; sneaking around when she’d hoped things were going back to normal. Maybe she’s not built for this, but she doesn’t thinks he has a choice. He says, of course she does. They can find another avenue. She says, that’s not what she meant. She has no choice because there is no back to normal. They know what they know, and because of that, things have to change. They can’t wait for someone else to step up and help. He takes her hand, and says he can promise her this. Whatever they find, whatever comes their way, she won’t be alone. He’ll be by her side, come hell or high water. Against all odds of the cosmos and humankind, they found each other. He was never more certain of anything. They kiss, and she says, so what does she need to steal?

In the woods, Leah loads bunch of guns, and sets them up in a semicircle. She goes inside a small tent, and closes it. Some troopers come by, and open the tent, but it’s empty, and the guns start shooting, hitting a couple of troopers. Lance says, he’s here to talk; hold your fire. He’s come long way to find her. She’s not easy to track down, and since she’s caused him more than a handful of trouble, at least hear what he has to say before she kills them. Leah comes out of the woods, her gun ready. She says, talk fast, and he says, his name is Lance Hornsby, and he’s here to offer her a job.

Next time, Maggie says, it’s not ending until she ends it; Aaron says, they’ll fight their way out; Lance says, Leah gets to scout for the woman who killed her family, and he gets to do his job without interference; and Leah suits up to go hunting.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Josslyn comes into the hospital, Trina and Cameron on either side, helping her. She says they didn’t need to bring her there, but Trina says she can’t walk. Cameron says they shouldn’t have let her convince them that playing was a good idea. Josslyn says, it was just a warm up. She needs to prove to her coach that she’s good enough. She limps away, and runs into Portia.

Ava tells Nikolas that she knows he returned Cyrus’s mother back to him, so Cyrus would offer Alexis protection in Pentenville. He asks if she’s upset, but she says, upset is not the word. He asks, what is? and she says she’s terrified.

Alexis scrubs a floor. Hey, I have that same bucket, but mine doesn’t say Pentenville on it. A man suddenly stands over her.

At the MetroCourt, Obrecht suggests she and Scotty get a secluded table, on the off-chance Britt wasn’t exaggerating about a threat. He asks if she thinks the threat is real, and she says, of course (🍷). He says he thought it was a ploy to spend more time with him, and she asks if he thinks she needs a ploy. He asks if she had a good time, and she says, it’s true. She quite enjoys his company. Laura walks in, startled to see them together.

Brick asks Carly about the security accounts, but she says she’ll have Spinelli deal with that. He asks if she’s sure he’s up to it, and she says she is. She’d be nervous if Spinelli was holding a gun, or driving a getaway car, but as far as getting into the mainframe at GH, he’s almost Britt’s equal. Almost. If Sonny was there, he’d be going to the meeting with the Five Families Italian ices, but Jason is going to do that. Jason has to go. She needs him there, and not in prison. Brick says he’s glad she asked for his help.

Sam tells Danny that Jason will only be at the hospital temporarily, and he’ll have to go back to prison. Danny says he knows. Until the trial. She says she wants him to be prepared. There’s a guard outside Jason’s room, who will only let in family, and just so he knows, Jason will be handcuffed to the bed. He says he can handle that. He just wants to see his dad.

Britt tells Jason that she checked Cyrus’s schedule, and he’s in Rochester, so they have some breathing room. He says, good, and she asks how he’s feeling. He says, fully recovered, and she says, good timing. Carly called her earlier, and she’s putting the plan in motion. They’ll be able to break him out tonight.

In an examining room, Josslyn says she can’t believe Trina told her mom, but Trina says her mom works there. She saw them. Portia comes in, and says she hopes Josslyn didn’t get the injury playing volleyball; she was instructed not to play. Josslyn says, no. She was walking by herself in the park, when she accidentally stepped in a hole and rolled her ankle. She was sitting there, trying to loosen it, and Trina and Cameron found her. Portia asks how long Josslyn was there, and Cameron says, that’s why they brought her in. It could be serious. Josslyn says, it’s no big deal, but Portia says they won’t know without some tests. She’s sending Josslyn for an MRI.

Nikolas says he thought Ava was fearless. Why is she terrified? She says, as much as she doesn’t want to think about it, Cyrus bombed The Floating Rib, and used her brother to do it. She’s worried that, before they have a chance to renew their vows, Nikolas will be six feet under, and Cyrus will be responsible. He says, the circumstances are entirely different. Julian was desperate, and had nothing to offer Cyrus. Cyrus sought Nikolas out, and Nikolas gave him something that he tried and failed to get himself. If anything, Cyrus owes him. She says, he’s proven himself useful. She doesn’t think Cyrus will let him go. She happens to love him, and she’s so scared for him. He says, don’t be. He has too much to live for now, and won’t let Cyrus hurt either one of them.

Scotty takes Laura aside, and says he and Obrecht are friends. She asks if he thinks that’s wise, given what Obrecht is responsible for, and he says, what can he tell her? It just happened. She says she can see why they’re drawn to each other. They’re both grieving Franco, and have that connection. He says, she’s right, and she says, she’s not there to judge, but please, be careful. She tells Obrecht, good morning, and apologizes for not greeting her earlier. She was… surprised. Obrecht says she was equally surprised, and tells Laura to call her Liesl. Laura says, okay, Liesl. She’ll see her around. She leaves, and Obrecht says she admires the mayor for many reasons. She knows Laura dislikes her, but she’s withholding judgement. Laura is a woman of discernment and character. Scotty says, Laura is a wonderful girl. She would probably like Obrecht if she got to know her. Obrecht says, perhaps they’ll have a chance after the danger has passed, and she’s in the clear. He asks where the danger is coming from, and she says she doesn’t know, but she intends to find out.

Britt tells Jason that her mother agreed to lie low, although a part of her wants to see Cyrus go after Obrecht. As big and bad as he thinks he is, he’s no match for her. Jason asks if she’s proud of Obrecht, and she says, in a lot of ways. While she disagrees completely with some of Obrecht’s choices, she’d be the first to acknowledge Obrecht has lived life on her own terms; no excuses, no apologies. It didn’t make for a warm and fuzzy childhood, but it made her resilient. She wonders how she got off on this tangent, and Jason says she was talking about warning her mother. Is there anyone else Cyrus could target to get to her? She says she’s drowning in friends and family. There’s Maxie, but since Peter and Cyrus are now a twisted version of the frat boys from hell, she thinks Maxie is okay. Hopefully, Cyrus has no idea Brad is her friend, but other than that, there’s no one she has to worry about. he says, except herself, and she says she told him that she’s doing this. He’s not talking her out of it for her own good. His selfless nobility is already getting on her last nerve; it’s annoying enough. Sam brings Danny in, and he hugs Jason.

Carly tells Brick that they have someone at the hospital to keep Cyrus diverted. He asks if it’s Epiphany, but she says, Britt Westbourne; she’s the Chief of Staff. He says she doesn’t mess around, and she says, Britt isn’t her favorite person, but Jason trusts her. He says, that will be a big help, but they have another obstacle – Cyrus. They have to make sure Cyrus doesn’t get away. She says she thinks she has that covered, and he says, does she? Is it foolproof?

Nikolas tells Ava that he doesn’t expect Cyrus to be on the guest list for their wedding, but she says, Cyrus wants to be a fine, upstanding citizen; he’s going to want an invite. If he doesn’t get one, she’s sure he’ll find a way to wrangle himself in. Nikolas says there’s someone he can guarantee won’t be attending – Spencer. She asks if they spoke, and he says Spencer still isn’t taking his calls. He got a terse email saying not to expect him to come home anytime soon. She says she’s sorry. She knows she’s a factor in their estrangement. He says, a small factor. He’s the one who let his son believe he was dead for years. He didn’t tell Spencer that he survived the shooting. He was too busy with getting revenge against Valentin, and reclaiming his inheritance. His mother thinks his deal with Cyrus is proof of him backsliding, but she’s wrong. He saw the fallout, and learned his lesson about what it cost the people he loves. He wouldn’t act that way again. She says, she thinks Laura is just concerned. Cyrus gets people to do things they wouldn’t normally do. He says, as long as she’s by his side, he wouldn’t.

Alexis asks if she’s doing something wrong, and the man (the warden?) says, no. He has news for her. She’s been reassigned work duty. She says, so soon? What’s her new job? He motions her to follow.

Danny tells Jason, Scout wanted to come, but mom said she was too young to understand. He says, good call. Tell Scout he thinks about her all the time. Is Danny watching out for his sister? Danny says, of course (🍷); he promised he would. Britt and Sam go out to the hallway, and Danny says, it’s not fair that Jason is locked to the bed, but Jason says, it’s just protocol. Danny says, it’s a big mistake. Jason didn’t do what the police said he did. He’d never hurt Jake’s stepdad. Jason says he didn’t kill Franco, and Danny says he wishes everyone believed that. Jake is having a rough time with Cameron. Jason says, Cameron is dealing with losing Franco, who was like a father to him. Just be there for them if they need him. Danny says, sure thing. What happens next?

Britt says she wants Sam to know that Jason is fine, and Sam says, it was bad enough for Jason to be sent to GH. Britt says the Pentenville infirmary wasn’t equipped to handle Jason’s injury, and Sam says Jason recovered quickly. Britt says, she’s kept him as long as she can. She expects he’ll be discharged tonight. Sam says Britt is Chief of Staff. Is she acting as Jason’s primary doctor? Britt says, yes. Does Sam have a problem with that?

Josslyn is wheeled into Portia’s office, and Trina asks if it’s that bad. Cameron asks how she’s feeling, but Portia requests they wait outside so she can speak to Josslyn privately. Trina says they’ll be out in the hall, and they leave. Portia says, the good news is, Josslyn’s ankle isn’t broken. Josslyn says, that means she’s cleared to play, right? but Portia says the MRI showed that Josslyn was millimeters away from tearing her ATF ligament. She’s sorry, but Josslyn’s volleyball season is over.

Ava opens the door, and Cyrus is there. He says, Ms Jerome… or should I say, Mrs. Cassadine? He hopes she can make some time for him.

Josslyn asks Portia if she really can’t play. She’s already packed for the tournament. Portia says she knows it’s a disappointment, but Josslyn can’t play for at least four weeks. That means no running, or athletics of any kind. She’s going to fit Josslyn for an ankle boot. She can walk with it, and it will lessen the pain and take the stress off her ligament. She’s sorry. She tells Josslyn to stay in the chair until she gets back. She opens the door, and Cameron and Trina are right there. Portia tells them that Josslyn could use the company, and Cameron asks why there are security guards all over the place. What’s going on? Portia says she thought Josslyn would have told them. Jason was injured in Pentenville, and he’s upstairs. They go in, and Cameron asks if Josslyn knew Jason was a patient, and Josslyn says, yeah. He asks why she didn’t tell them, and she asks if he thinks that would have been a good idea. They called a truce. Why start an argument by bringing up Jason? Cameron says, she’s probably right. His shift is gong to start soon. He hopes Josslyn feels better. The next time he sees her, he expects her to be holding a trophy. He leaves, and Trina asks if Josslyn wants to tell her about the weirdness going on with Cameron. Josslyn says, Cameron is the least of her problems. Trina’s mom just told her that her volleyball season is over. She can’t play in the tournament. She can’t prove herself, and lost the only shot she has for playing with the best V-1 team in the country.

Sam asks if Britt is sure she wants to be Jason’s doctor, and Britt says she wouldn’t have it any other way. Britt’s phone rings, and she steps away.

Jason tells Danny that he’s not sure how it’s going to shake out, but he doesn’t want Danny to worry; he’ll be fine. Sam comes in, and asks how it’s going. Jason says, good. Danny says he was asking when Jason will get out of prison; when he’ll be found innocent. Jason says he told Danny that he’s sorry, but he doesn’t have a timeline. It’s one of those times he has to be patient. He promises he’ll find a way out. Danny says, but he doesn’t know when, even though he’s innocent. Jason says, that’s the most important thing. No matter what happens, he didn’t kill Franco, and he’s going to prove it.

Brick tells Carly, Cyrus wants to eliminate Jason; he’s not playing. It could happen at any given moment, even tonight. Carly says she was hoping Cyrus would be too busy tonight to go after Jason (like Cyrus does his own dirty work). The doorbell rings, and Carly opens the door to Laura, thanking her for coming. There’s somebody she wants Laura to meet. She introduces Laura to Brick, who says, it’s an honor and a privilege. Laura wonders about his last name, but he says, it’s just Brick. Like Prince or Elvis, but he prefers Prince. Carly says, Brick is a close family friend, and Laura says, the family could use a friend right now. Brick says, Sonny was crazy about Laura, and Laura says she was fond of Sonny too. Carly says, Brick helped when Sonny was looking for Dante in Turkey, and Brick says he’s glad Dante found his way back. Laura says, he had a few good moments with Sonny, but not enough. Brick says, it’s never enough. He’s got to go; he has work to do. He tells Carly that he’ll be in touch, and thanks Laura, telling her to keep up the great work she’s doing in Port Charles. He leaves, and Laura says, Brick is quite charming, but she knows Carly didn’t invite her over for a meet and greet. What’s this about?

Cyrus says, of course (🍷) he’s delighted to see Ava, but he was hoping for a word with her husband. She says Cyrus just missed Nikolas, and he says he wanted to thank Nikolas personally for his invaluable help in returning his mother to him. He can’t tell her how much it means to have his mother nearby, and knowing she’s safe. Ava says she’s glad Florence didn’t suffer when she was away. Now if they’re through… He says they’re not through, and she says she doesn’t understand. Nikolas said Alexis would get protection in Pentenville in exchange for finding Cyrus’s mother, which he’s done. End of story. Cyrus says, it’s never that simple with him.

Alexis goes to the visitor room, and sees Nikolas. He says he’s happy to see her; she looks good. How is she doing? She says, good. She’s working the program, and he’ll be happy to know she hasn’t been tempted to drink the toilet wine. He tells her, steer clear, even if it’s a good vintage. What else? She says she got a new work assignment in the library. It’s a cushy gig. He says, good, and she says she knows what he did. He traded favors with Cyrus, and she wants to know how much of his soul he traded to keep her safe.

Carly says, the second Nikolas turned over Cyrus’s mother to him, they lost their leverage. Laura says she knows. For what it’s worth (🍷), she fought with Nikolas about it. Obviously, she wasn’t able to change his mind. Cyrus got his mother back. Carly says, it’s over. They’ll have to find another way to soften Cyrus. Laura says she’d like to hear how they do that, and Carly tells her, she said herself that she’s Cyrus’s weakness. Cyrus wants a relationship with her; maybe some of her integrity and respectability will rub off on him. Laura says, he’s delusional, and Carly says, but maybe they can use it to their advantage. Laura asks, how? and Carly asks if there’s any way Laura can appear to soften toward Cyrus. Give him the attention he so desperately craves. For the greater good.

Nikolas tells Alexis, don’t be dramatic. His soul had little to do with the quid pro quo. She asks him to tell her what did, and he says he knew Cyrus had connections in Pentenville; an entire network of staff and prisoners who could make Alexis’s life difficult. He’s guessing that happened early on. She asks what Nikolas had to do on his end to accommodate Cyrus, and he says, return Cyrus’s mother. She asks what he means. Where is she? He says, Carly and Jason took her from the assisted living home she was in, and were holding her as leverage. Cyrus just got her back.

Ava says, Nikolas saw to it that Cyrus’s mother was safely returned. What more could Cyrus possibly want? He says, what he wants isn’t tangible, like goods or money. He wants a relationship, a family. Laura is his sister, which makes Nikolas his nephew. Ava is his niece-in-law, so to speak. She says, technically, she supposes that’s true, and he says, Laura has never been truly open to bonding as a family, but since the deal with Nikolas was mutually beneficial, he’s hoping she’ll be more receptive to a connection in the future. Family. It’s the most important thing, isn’t it?

Danny leaves, and Sam says Britt told her Jason should be released later. He asks what she heard, and she says, if someone is trying to kill him in Pentenville, he’ll probably get hurt or worse. Please tell her what’s going on. Is the hospital stay part of a bigger set-up?

Scotty walks into the hospital with Obrecht, and she says no need to accompany her. He says, Britt told her that she was in danger, so he’ll be there to protect her. She says, most of the time, it’s other people who need protection from her, and he says he’s going to shadow her, so she knows he has her back. She says, if he insists. Nevertheless, he’ll just be a distraction.

Britt finds a custodian coming out of her office, and he says, all done. She says she told him to take his time, and winks. He leaves, and she goes into her office, followed closely by Obrecht, who startles her. Obrecht asks, what’s going on? Why is she in danger? Does it concern Peter? Britt says, in part, and Obrecht asks what that schwein has done now. Britt says, all Obrecht needs to know is that she’s doing a favor for Jason. Obrecht suggests they leave the country.

Trina wonders what about Josslyn’s academics? but Josslyn says, Southern Coastal has the best volleyball program in the country. They don’t need to take her. Her only shot was to stand out at the tournament, and she just blew it. Trina says she knows Josslyn is disappointed, but wait and see. They’ll tear up PCU. Josslyn can look through the catalog at the tournament. She’s sure Josslyn will find something that interests her. Josslyn says she’s not going to the tournament, but Trina says, they’re her teammates. Doesn’t she want to cheer them on? Josslyn says, they need her, and she can’t play. She’s letting them down. Trina thinks they need a break from Port Charles, and Josslyn says, she’s right. They should definitely go somewhere else. Trina says, like where? and Josslyn says she has an idea.

On the phone, Josslyn says she’ll let Jax know what they decide. She tells Trina, her dad is still in Pennsylvania, a place called Nixon Falls. He hurt himself, and can’t fly. Trina asks how badly he’s hurt, but Josslyn tells her, he didn’t say, and she didn’t ask. He’ll need a ride back, so they can pick him up. Trina doesn’t think her mom will be up for that, and Josslyn tells her, get permission to go to the volleyball game, and they’ll go to Pennsylvania instead. Trina asks if she’s supposed to lie to her mom, but Josslyn says, it’s different from lying. She’s just not telling her mom. It’s not like they’re getting fake IDs and going to bars. They’re just taking a quick road trip to pick up her dad. She needs the distraction. Trina asks if it will get Josslyn out of her bad mood, and Josslyn says, it will help. Portia brings in a boot for Josslyn to try on, and Trina says she and Josslyn have decided to go to the tournament to support Josslyn’s teammates. Is that okay?

Obrecht tells Britt that she must get as far away from Jason as possible. He attracts violence and trouble. He’s a magnet for danger. Britt says, calm down. It’s the people who are after Jason who pose a danger. Obrecht says, Jason is equal to a bobsled run. Where should they go? Perhaps Australia; the Great Barrier Reef. Britt says, she has responsibilities, and Obrecht says, more than her own well-being? Britt says, she has patients, and she can’t leave Maxie. Obrecht agrees that Maxie needs Britt, and Britt says she can look out for herself. Where is Obrecht hiding out? There’s a knock at the door, and Britt points out that someone actually knocked. It’s Scotty, and she asks what he wants. He says he wants to help. He’s there to insure her mother’s protection, and Obrecht smiles.

Sam says she knows Jason has something planned, and Jason says, the best thing he can give her is deniability. If something happens, and there’s an investigation, she has nothing to hide. Sam says, says he’s right. She has to put Danny and Scout first. It’s the choice she made.

Laura asks if Carly has any idea what she’s asking. Cyrus showed up, pressuring her to get his mother back. When she told him that she couldn’t help, he accused her of taking sides in a turf war. He said if blood ran in the streets of Port Charles, it was on her hands. Carly says she doesn’t want a war; she wants the opposite, to contain Cyrus. Laura is the only one who engages him. Laura says she may be able to engage him, but she has no ability to influence him for the better. He likes the idea of having her for a sister, but has no interest in what she says. She’s like a trophy; the one thing he can’t have. Carly says, that’s what makes her irresistible, and it’s exactly what they need for a few hours; Cyrus occupied and his attention on Laura. Laura asks where his attention would be otherwise, and Carly asks Laura to trust her in this situation. What she doesn’t know, can’t hurt her.

Alexis says, Carly and Jason were holding a fragile, elderly woman hostage? but Nikolas says, she was never at risk. She was in a private home, and Bobbie Spencer was her caregiver. She says, they were using her as leverage to keep Cyrus in check. Now that Nikolas has unleashed him, he’s put Sonny’s family, which means Kristina, vulnerable to retaliation. He says he did it for her, but she says she didn’t ask him to. Now he’s in debt to Cyrus. Does he know what that means? He says, it’s nothing he can’t handle, and she says, he’s influential and rich, and now he’s under Cyrus’s thumb. This might be the first step, but it’s not the last. He says he won’t leave Alexis alone. He’s not so naïve to think Cyrus got what he wanted, and is going to go away. She asks what he can do to stop Cyrus, and he says Cyrus has no idea what he’s capable of. If Cyrus crosses him, he won’t win. The benefits of protecting Alexis outweigh the risks. He wants her to find some peace in knowing he made it safer for her in there.

Ava tells Cyrus that she’s sure her husband has an opinion on furthering a relationship with his new uncle. She trusts Nikolas will see the advantage in everything Cyrus did to help protect his aunt in Pentenville. Cyrus says, that’s the thing about cooperation and open mindedness. It makes the world safer; not just for them, but for those they hold dear. She says she’ll tell Nikolas that he came by, and he picks up a photo, saying, a little angel. He assumes it’s Avery. She’s adorable, and bears a striking resemblance to her late father. He hands Ava the picture, and leaves. She looks at Avery’s photo.

Britt asks, are you two for real? and Obrecht says, Scotty is quite chivalrous. Scotty says, danke, and Britt says she thought when Obrecht stayed with Scotty, she just didn’t want anyone to know she was in town. Obrecht says, they were capable roommates, but things change. Britt looks shocked, and Obrecht tells her not to be so scandalized. She’s a healthy woman with desires. Why not have fun? Britt should try it sometime. She works too much. Britt says she’s fine, and clearly, so is Obrecht. Scotty says, she is fine, and Obrecht says, danke. As for Britt, be careful. She couldn’t bear if anything happened to Britt. Britt promises to be careful, and Obrecht tells Scotty, let’s go. They happily dance out the door. They are really cute.

Alexis tells Nikolas, she doesn’t know what to say. She doesn’t like what he did, but she’s appreciative and grateful. The minute she got there, she was in trouble. One mention of Cyrus’s name, and she was safe. He says, that’s a good thing. It made him more motivated to rescue Cyrus’s mother. She thanks him, and he says he can’t let anything happen to her. He needs her in his life, and so does the rest of the family.

Sam tells Jason, just because the kids’ safety is her priority, doesn’t mean she doesn’t care. Whatever he’s planning, please be careful. Don’t put himself in a situation that makes anything worse. The kids miss him enough as it is.

Portia tells Josslyn, don’t even think of playing, but Josslyn says, of course (🍷) not. She learned her lesson. She thanks Portia, who says, of course (🍷). Portia leaves, and Trina says she thinks they’re overdue for a road trip. She asks if Josslyn needs to call her mom, but Josslyn says she told her mom goodbye when she left the house, before she destroyed her dream. Trina says, as soon as you embrace failure, it leads to greatness, and Josslyn says, no more moping. Nixon Falls, here we come.

Cameron goes into Jason’s room.

The custodian calls Cyrus, and says, Britt was right where Cyrus said she would be – Jason’s room.

Laura tells Carly, in her position… She’ll do what she can to make up for Nikolas returning Florence, and so what she can to distract the bad guy they need to stop. Carly says she really needs Laura to spend time with Cyrus tonight. The doorbell rings, and it’s Ava. Carly says, not right now, but Ava says, it can’t wait. It’s about Avery. She’s in trouble.

Tomorrow, Maggie tells Alexis that special treatment can put a target on her back, Jax has to decline, and Ava says she’s not there to ask for help, but offer it.

🏖 The piece of trash that was the Oh God Make It Stop Summer House: Reunion Part One, was even worse than the actual show. Hannah was immediately slut shamed for liking Luke at the same time she was talking to other guys (gasp!), and we were off to a great start. Lindsay said she felt bad a little bit after watching her atrocious treatment of Stephen on her birthday. Andy said it seemed like Kyle and Amanda had changed, and Carl said Amanda held Kyle accountable. Then everyone made a bunch of excuses for Kyle’s drinking. Kyle wouldn’t let Hannah finish a sentence, caused her to cry, and then asked if she went to acting school. Good luck with that POS, Amanda. Lindsay proved once again how much she needs therapy, by acting like a less-than-basic bitch. Because Hannah continually pointed out that we live in a toxic, misogynistic society, Kyle said Hannah used buzzwords to make the men in her life look bad. I guess it never occurred to him that they look bad all on their own, and she just notices. Danielle said Hannah had created the things that happened to her, and she wasn’t a good friend. Baby Kyle got up, saying he needed a minute, and pointed his finger at Hannah the whole time he was walking away. I’m guessing he went to pee in the bushes, since he’s always looking for a new spot to mark his territory. Literally.

Next time, the Luke and Lindsay question, Carl talks about going down a dark path, Luke has something to say, and Hannah leaves in tears.

📺 Tonight on For Real: The Story of Reality TV, it was the topic of Shock and Awe. I came in a little late, but early enough to catch the disgusting things people had to eat on Fear Factor, like a whole rat being smoothied. I mentally renamed the show The Dumbest Sh*t Ever. I never once saw Lovelines with Dr. Drew Pinsky, but apparently, it was shocking at the time. Before Sex in the City covered every sex topic that ever existed. They showed clips from surgery shows, like Botched and Dr. Pimple Popper, as well as I Am Cait and I Am Jazz, which followed the stories of transgender women Caitlyn Jenner and Jazz Jennings. The saddest thing were the insults Jazz had to endure at such a young age, but I did think if I heard the word journey one more time, I might scream. RuPaul’s Drag Race, which I love, and Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which I’ve blessedly never seen, rounded out the episode. Mama June also made a virtual appearance, and told the audience that she’d spent $600K on cocaine. Good to hear she knows the value of a dollar. As Melissa Rivers said, one thing about reality television is, you’re life could be a lot worse. You could be Mama June. Next time, the biggest stars who have been launched from reality TV.

🍸 On Overserved, LVP’s guests were Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney, and Sheryl Underwood. The theme was a Traditional English Roast, with dishes LVP said she served at Christmas. They started off by playing Rosé Pong, which didn’t quite seem to have a point. Mario poured rosé into a champagne glass tower, and while the object was to get a ball into one of the glasses, the game seemed to have no rules or consequences for losing. Speaking of glasses, the wine glasses at the dinner table were ginormous, and LVP proved one of them could hold two bottles of wine. The standard I only had one drink joke was made. They played Get Pumped, and had spotted dick for dessert. You can take your pick of jokes about that. We also found out that Mario and Courtney’s daughter walked in on them having sex in a guest bedroom when they thought she was zooming school. Oops. I just love this show. LVP is the consummate hostess, even doing her own cooking, the guests are intelligent and fun, and of course there are the dogs, ponies, and swans. And Giggy! back with us again. The only downside is, you can’t physically get to the food, which always looks insanely good. Next time is the episode with James Kennedy and Jim Jeffries, which I talked about yesterday. I guess that was a sneak peek on Bravo. This show is always well-worth watching, but Jim Jeffries is too funny, so take a look.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Sibley tells Ava, shh… Ava says, this is ridiculous. What was she thinking? Sibley says, Kiki is here.

Obrecht goes out on deck, taking in the night air. Someone pushes her over the railing.

Drew and Kim find the fuse box. Drew suddenly feels a pain, and says, what was that? He slides to the floor. Kim flips the switch, getting the lights on, and looks at the syringe in her hand.

Elizabeth can’t believe Hayden made it. Hayden says nothing could keep her from being with her sister on the happiest day of her life.

Kim brings Drew to a stateroom. He says he doesn’t feel so great. She tells him, just lean back, and touches his face.

On deck, Cameron says he can’t believe Hayden is back. Trina says she thought they’d had enough of Hayden. Josslyn says, her mom has. They hate each other. They hear Obrecht calling for help, and Josslyn thinks there’s someone in the water.

Ava says Kiki made the lights go off and on, and Sibley says it could be Kiki reaching out from beyond the grave, or a blown fuse. Ava says she can feel Kiki, and asks if Kiki hears her. She says, please talk to her.

Ava calls for Kiki, saying she misses her very much. She can’t tell Kiki how sorry she is for the awful things she said. She wonders if Kiki can hear her, and says, please, something. Sibley tells Ava, be quiet. She’s trying to concentrate. Ava says, Kiki was there. Where is she now?

Hayden says she’ll leave Elizabeth and Franco to celebrate. She has to say hello to someone. Curtis says, what a coincidence; he’s right there. They hug, and she says she missed him. He suggests they take a stroll on deck and catch up. She says she has someone else to say hello to first. She hugs Jax. He’s glad she could make it. Cameron runs in, saying, man overboard. Josslyn says someone just went over the starboard side. Jax and Finn run out.

Lulu arrives at the MetroCourt, and Maxie calls her over. Peter asks if she cares to join them, and Maxie asks if she’s there to bait the burglar. She says she is, and Maxie tells Lulu to sit while she gives her a lecture. Lulu says, with any luck, her date will stand her up, and Peter says, because he’s robbing her house. Lulu says her decoy house. Hopefully, she’ll join them for celebration afterward when her date is at the police station. Lulu sees a guy come in, and says her date’s here. Maxie says, cute, clean, well-dressed; too bad Lulu is married who’s deeply in love with her husband. Lulu thanks her for the reminder, and says she doesn’t want to waste his entire evening. She walks over to her date, and Peter asks Maxie how she proposes to find Dante this time. She’s got that look again.

Kim pushes Drew back on the bed. She tells him that he has no idea how badly she wished he’d been able to see Oscar grow, but he’ll be there for every moment this time, and he’ll forgive her when he sees the baby. He says, Oscar. She strokes his face, and I’m actually kind of creeped out.

Obrecht is pulled out of the water, and brought on deck. Nina runs to her. Finn tells her that she doesn’t want to quit. She doesn’t want to leave all those schemes she’s got going on. Nina asks, what happened? and Jax says, she must have fallen overboard. Finn says, come on Obrecht, and does CPR. He pumps her chest, and she coughs on him. He wipes his mouth and tells Nina, she’s going to make it.

Kim tells Drew that Oscar used ask about his father, but she didn’t want to talk about it. She gets undressed, and gets in bed with him. She says she should have. That’s what tonight is about. She knows he’s going to be there for the baby they’re making tonight, created from love. She kisses him. Julian walks in, and she says it’s not what he thinks. He asks, what the hell is going on here? and Kim says, please, just go.

Obrecht is brought back inside, and Epiphany tells everyone to give her room. Valentin can’t believe it, and Nina says, thank God the kids heard her. She asks where he’s been.

Lulu thanks her date, and tells him that she’s sorry. He says, that he showed up and isn’t robbing her house? She says, something like that. He says it’s certainly the most convoluted explanation for breaking a date that he’s gotten. He says it was still great to meet her. He hopes she catches the burglar, and says, he’s not just decoy while his partner is robbing her house. She says he’s great. He’s funny and smart, and she’s sure there are plenty of good reasons why he’s single. But from their brief conversation, it doesn’t seem like he needs an app to get a date. She’s sure he’ll make some woman happy. She realizes she’s rambling, and asks if he’s stopping her. He says, if anything, he wants her to keep going. She sounds amazing.

Maxie tells Peter, it’s not like the WSB facility in Ithica is underground. It’s a bunch of office buildings. He says, with tremendous security. If she trespasses, it’s violating international law. They hear Lulu laughing, and Maxie says, some non-date. Lulu seems to be enjoying herself, and it’s not appropriate. Maxie says, so Ithaca?

Lulu’s date laughs about the amazing lengths his students will go to, to get off the hook; often in long, run-on sentences. She says, like her, but he says she’s better. She says it’s good to know she’s upped her game since high school. He tells her it’s the most enjoyable pretend date he’s been on.

Ava tells Sibley that she said Kiki was there, and Sibley says, she’s not there anymore. After what happened, her soul doesn’t wish to linger. Ava says, try again, but Sibley says, the session is over. Ava says Sibley isn’t going anywhere until she brings her daughter back.

Josslyn tells Cameron and Trina that Jax and Curtis pulled Obrecht out of the water, and Finn was giving her CPR. She gives Jax a towel, and he says, quick thinking. Josslyn says they didn’t do much. Cameron says Josslyn threw Obrecht a life preserver, and Josslyn says, but she was too weak to hold on. It wasn’t much of a rescue. Jax says they did what they were supposed to, all of them. He asks what he always tells Josslyn about these situations, and she says, never underestimate the value of a cool head.

Obrecht yells, get off me! adding something in German. Finn says, she’s back. Nurse, take the patient. Epiphany says, if she must, and he says, bless you.

Bobbie asks Brad where he’s been. He missed the excitement. He say he was getting some air, when the lights went out.

Cameron asks Hayden if she’s visiting, or is she back back? She says, excellent question. Curtis says it is, and asks if she’s got a ballpark answer, because he’s dying to know.

Julian asks what Kim gave Drew, and she says, a mild sedative. He asks if they… and Kim says they didn’t have sex; Julian stopped them. He asks if it’s what they both wanted, and she says Drew will love any child they have as much as Oscar. He says, that wasn’t his question, and she says he’s turning it into something it isn’t. He asks, what’s going on? and she tells him, stop it. He says she’s in pain; more than she can handle. He says he’s sorry, and she asks, what for? He says, for not recognizing how deep her grief went. She says, this will make it stop, but he says, no. That baby will never be Oscar. She says she knows that, but it might have a trace of Oscar; like his smile or eyes, or just a little gesture. He says it’s not fair to the baby to create a life as a reminder of a child she’ll always love more. It’s not fair. She says she misses Oscar so much. How will she explain things to Drew? Julian says they can deal with that later, but he thinks she should get out right now, before he wakes up. He leads her out of the room.

Elizabeth asks Curtis if he was able to use his PI skills to find out how long Hayden is staying, but he says she’s been cagey. He’s yet to determine how long she’s planning to stay, or how she’s connected to Jax. Hayden says she doesn’t know how long she’ll be in town, and she and Jax crossed paths in Rome. He hired he as a consultant, and they discovered they enjoy each other. Curtis says, same old cupcake. She acts like she’s giving a real juice, but in reality… Elizabeth says, there’s more going on than meets the eye.

Sibley tells Ava that her daughter’s spirit isn’t there anymore. Ava says, isn’t that convenient, and asks if she gets off on torturing the grieving. She’s toying with Ava’s loss, and will regret exploiting her child’s death. Sibley says, shhh… Ava asks, is Kiki…? and Sibley says, there’s something about a dinner; a special dinner. She really wanted to be there. Ava says they made a date a year ago; a girls night. When the reminder came up, Ava went by herself. Sibley is afraid Kiki is gone, and Ava says, get her back, but Sibley says, that’s not how it works. Ava says she just made contact. Do something; anything. She doesn’t care what it costs.

Nina thanks Curtis for helping, and says he’s a good friend. He says she makes it easy. She says, no; she doesn’t, and he agrees. She says she hasn’t thanked Jax, so she’s going to bite the bullet, and thank him now. She sees him with Hayden, and says she’d hate to interrupt an intimate moment.

Hayden gives Jax a jacket she found in the captain’s office. He says he’ll have to be sure to return it. She hasn’t told him if she’s accepting his proposal. She says she’s thinking about it.

Epiphany brings in some EMTs, telling them Obrecht’s vitals are fine, and so are her vocal chords. She tells Obrecht that the EMTs are going to ask her about her fall. Obrecht says she didn’t fall. She was pushed.

On deck, Elizabeth asks Finn how he is. She can’t imagine how he feels seeing Hayden. He says it was a great party, and thanks her for the invite. Congratulations. She asks if he knows that Obrecht claims she didn’t fall over the side of the boat because she was hammered. He says, she was pushed. She says, unfortunately, not by her. What about him? He says he’ll never tell. She says, given who’s on board, it could be anyone.

Maxie tells Peter that Spinelli will get them fake IDs, and official documents. There will even be a phone number in case their credentials are checked. She says he can be an important psychiatrist, and she can be his assistant. Wait, that was super sexist of her. She’ll be the doctor. Peter says her father is head of the WSB. Her face is most certainly in the security system. Someone might catch on. She says he might have a point.

Lulu tells her date that it was nice to meet him. One good thing she’s learned doing this story, is that there are plenty of nice people looking to make a connection. She hopes this hasn’t discouraged him. He says it would take more than a beautiful woman, inadvertently trapping him in her sting to make him give up on love. Now that he has his evening free, he’s going to work. As a teacher, he has several jobs. He says he’ll look for her bylines. She says, goodnight, Dustin Phillips.

Lulu goes back to Maxie and Peter’s table, and Maxie says someone looked like they were having a good time. Lulu says Dustin is a nice guy. Maxie asks if Dustin knows she’s married with children, and Lulu says, of course (🍷). He still found it in himself to be friendly and charming. Peter says, now that it’s over, does she care to join them for a drink. Lulu says she’ll be a third wheel. She’s going home to a nice hot bath. When Lulu is out of earshot, Maxie tells Peter, she’s texting her dad. She’s learned not to expect much from her dad, but he promised to step up if she ever needed him, and she’s not taking no for an answer this time.

Nina asks Obrecht who pushed her? but Obrecht says, it was dark. She didn’t see them. She was enjoying the calm night air, and the next thing she knew, she was in the drink. Nina says she was hammered. She suggests maybe it was less embarrassing for Obrecht to say she was pushed instead of admitting she ran into a pole and fell. Obrecht says she doesn’t run into poles. She was deliberately pushed.

Bobbie tells Scotty that Franco and Elizabeth finally get their reception, and one harpy shows up out of the blue, and another nearly drowns. Scotty says, here’s to Port Charles, and they clink glasses. She tells him stay there and work on his toast. She’ll round up the happy couple, everyone will raise their glasses, and they’ll get the wedding will be back on track. Scotty asks why he always has to save the day?

Drew wakes up, and wonders, what the hell is happening? Everything looks blurry to him. He pulls his pants on, and stumbles out. Curtis sees him, and asks, what happened? Drew doesn’t know how he got there, and Curtis asks if he’s okay.

On deck, Franco tells Elizabeth it was weird. Obrecht was rambling about Brad, Lucas, and Wiley’s real father. She was so hammered. He’s worried once she’s sober, she’ll clam up. Elizabeth says Obrecht trusts him. She’ll never understand it, but they care about each other. He doesn’t understand it either. Elizabeth says, tomorrow when she’s sober, he’ll get the truth out of her. Bobbie overhears.

Drew asks where he is, and Curtis says, a stateroom on The Haunted Star. Drew knows he was on the boat, but how did he get to the room? He wonders if he got drunk, but Curtis says he didn’t see that. He says, hang on. He thinks he saw something. He goes out in the hallway, and sees the syringe on a chair. He gets a cloth, and brings it back, saying, look what he found. Judging from Drew’s state of mind, and his pupils, Curtis thinks somebody drugged him. Drew remembers being with Kim. He flashes back to saying he doesn’t feel great, and Kim saying she’ll take care of everything, and starting to take her clothes off. Curtis says he’s calling Jordan, but Drew tells him, don’t call her. Curtis says, whoever did this needs to be caught. Drew says, the person who did this is in enough trouble already.

Julian leads Kim to the pier. She says, she was about to… She can’t look at Drew again. She doesn’t know who she is anymore. Who she is without Oscar. She doesn’t know what do. Julian holds her, and says he’ll get her some help, and he’ll be with her every step of the way.

Scotty asks Bobbie where the bride and groom are. He has his toast ready. She says, something came up, and she’ll be right back. She grabs Brad, saying she just heard something he needs to know about.

Jax introduces Josslyn to Hayden. Hayden says Josslyn must be Carly’s daughter. She couldn’t be anyone else. Josslyn says she’ll take that as a compliment, and Hayden says, it’s meant as one. Josslyn says she’ll tell her mom that Hayden said so. Jax says he’ll take Josslyn home, but she says she’ll share a ride with her friends. He says hell cancel the limo then. She says, he didn’t say limo.

Valentin congratulates Franco, and says he’ll see Nina in the car. Nina says, great reception. It was smart to get married in lock- up. There’s no one to object. Franco says, the guard looked like he might say something any moment. She tells him that she’s happy for him and his family. Even Elizabeth. She thinks they’re pretty perfect for each other. He thanks her, and she says she wants him to be happy. He deserves it. She kisses his cheek, and leaves.

Bobbie tells Brad that she overheard Franco say Obrecht knows who Wiley’s biological father is. He asks why anyone would believe anything that homicidal drama queen has to say? She asks, why was she talking about Wiley at all? He wishes he knew, and she says they can’t take a chance. She tells Brad to fill Lucas in, and call Alexis. The last thing they need is loose information flying abound about her grandson.

Ava tells Sibley that she had doubts, but there’s no way she could have known about the restaurant. She knows Kiki was really there, and needs her back. There’s so much she needs to tell Kiki. Sibley says she can’t feel her, and Ava says, there must be some other way. Sibley says she could try channeling Kiki, but it’s not always possible. When it works, she can be a conduit between the physical and spiritual worlds, but it takes time and preparation. It’s not something to be taken lightly, and she can’t always control what comes, especially if the spirits are unsettled. Ava says she believes Sibley. There’s no need to try and make it spooky. Sibley says she’s not doing this for effect. She’s warning Ava that once the door is opened, it’s not easily closed.

Lulu looks up Dustin’s profile, smiles, and goes into the elevator. Maxie looks at her phone, and says, amazing! Peter thought they were done with fashion week until September. She says she’s so glad he’s been paying attention, but her dad got them in to see Dante. Peter says, Ithaca, here we come.

Kim leaves a message for Dr. Massey. She wants to make an appointment. Tomorrow or as soon as possible. It’s an emergency.

Curtis wants to make sure Drew gets home safe. Drew says he can take care of himself, but Curtis says he has no choice, and helps him up. Drew is still groggy, and says, let’s just get out of here. He looks at the bed and flashes back to Kim saying, he’ll accept the baby they make tonight will be created out of love. He asks Curtis to get him the hell out of there.

Trina tells Josslyn and Cameron, that was the sweetest, craziest, most intense wedding reception she’s been too. Josslyn says, clearly, she’s never been to a Corinthos or Spencer wedding. Cameron says, no bomb threats, nobody got slapped, and only one person almost drowned. Trina thinks next time they do something, they should invite Dev. He’s cute, and mysterious, and annoys Josslyn, which is a plus. Cameron says she wants Josslyn to be annoyed, and Trina says, if it gets her out of the house. Josslyn says she didn’t come there because of Dev, but she had fun. They’re her best friends in the entire world. The three of them sit, Cameron in the middle with an arm around each girl.

Sibley tells Ava, when she has all the components to channel the spirit, she’ll be in touch. Ava says she’d better be. Sibley says she will. Not because Ava is threatening her, but because Ava and Kiki need to talk. Ava asks if Kiki hears that. They’ll talk soon.

Elizabeth tells Jax that she’s glad he was there. He wishes her all love she deserves, and she says, even if it’s with Franco. She tells Jax that he really is a changed man, and Jax says he makes her happy. If anyone deserves happiness, it’s her.

Finn comes face-to-face with Hayden. He says, hi, and she returns the hi. She says, now that they got that out of the way, excuse her. Jax is taking her back. Elizabeth thanks her for coming, and Hayden says she wouldn’t miss it. She and Jax leave.

Scotty asks if Bobbie took care of whatever was so important. She says she wouldn’t say it’s taken care of, but she did what she could. She’s ready to call it a night. Elizabeth thanks them for coming, and Scotty thanks Elizabeth for making an honest man of her son. Bobbie says he did a 180, and she’s proud of him. She tells Franco, be good to her, and he says, always. She tells Elizabeth, don’t wait for happiness. Grab it by both hands. Scotty says that was his toast. Now he’s got nothing, except he loves them. Franco says he loves Scotty, and thanks him. Bobbie and Scotty leave.

Franco says he thought they’d never leave, and Elizabeth says, at least they didn’t leave in an ambulance. Franco asks may he have this dance, Mrs. Baldwin? She says, her pleasure, Mr. Baldwin. They walk out to the floor. He asks if she knows what he was looking forward to the most. She says, tell her, and he says, just being by her side every day for the rest of his life. She says, good answer, and they kiss.

Tomorrow, Cameron says Oscar’s will is being ready today, Drew tells Kim that she crossed the line, Sam has evidence against Shiloh, and Jason asks Brick who’s getting a new identity.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Ugh. Thank God this is the finale. I’m not that interested in watching this bunch of mean women, who are old enough to know better, anymore. LVP won’t be at the reunion either. The only interest I’d have in watching the next season would be to see who they decide to turn on next. I don’t really believe LVP walks on water, but even if she might finagle things sometimes, it’s not like she’s deliberately cruel. And these chicks became like a gang.

Kim visits Kyle. She asks if Kim is hungry. She says she could eat. Kyle says, If Kim was a guest, she’d make her something, but since she’s Kyle’s sister, she can feed herself. In her interview, Kyle says she and Kim have gone through a lot. We flash back to a lot, including the infamous limo scene. She thinks their relationship will always be a work in progress. She asks how the baby is. Kim says she never imagined she’d have kids who would have babies, and she’d feel this way. She’s in a new phase of her life, and happy. She asks what going on with Kyle, and Kyle tells her Alexia is enjoying being in the business with Mauricio. In Kyle’s interview, she says when Alexia first came home from college, it was an adjustment, but she learned if she wants to succeed, she has to go out there and make that money. She tells Kim about the agency’s upcoming celebration. Kim says she’ll do her best to come. Kyle warns her that LisaR will be there. Kim says, no matter what she does to make things right, she’s going to have that with LisaR. She doesn’t want to be LisaR’s friend, but she doesn’t want a dagger coming at her, or being called the c-word. In Kim’s interview, she says she and LisaR will never be friends. There have been moments they’ve tried to make amends – we flash back to Farrahween when they decided to forgive each other – but she doesn’t know if LisaR is sincere. She tells Kyle that she just wants to get along, but thinks LisaR has it out for her.

Dorit tells PK that she’s still reeling. She could have done without Camille’s sh*t. She’s the most two-faced human Dorit has ever met. Wow. In LA? Really? PK says he’s not really surprised. Dorit tells him that Camille said she didn’t know how Dorit has so much, when PK clamed bankruptcy. PK says he filed in ’09; ten years ago, before he knew her. It has no bearing on their lifestyle now, and it’s his job to take care of Dorit. What irritates Dorit are some of the things in the press about the Beverly Beach lawsuit. She can’t discuss it, and she knows Camille wants to throw in digs. In her interview, she says the lawsuit is hanging over her head. It’s had a devastating effect on Beverly Beach, and she had to find a new manufacturer. She wonders why anyone would want to ruin her reputation. PK asks where Camille gets her money. In Dorit’s interview, she asks if Camille forgot where her money came from. (Later, on Watch What Happens Live, Camille answered that question – no, she didn’t.) She asks if there’s any chance PK can come to the party, but he says he has his daughter. Dorit explains in her interview that PK’s daughter, Atlanta, is now eighteen, and just moved to the US. She says she’d like him to be there, but understands. He asks if she can avoid Camille, but she says it would be impossible.

Everyone gets ready for the agency party. Dorit whines to her glam squad that Camille is low and dirty.

Teddi calls Kyle, saying she’s running late. In the limo, Kyle says she is too. Apparently, a little rain is going on, and this causes everyone to freak out, and traffic to be slower than it usually is. Denise and Aaron pick up Dorit. Denise asks if Dorit’s house is still for sale. Dorit says she wants more yard for the kids. Denise says they’ve been bouncing back and forth from different hotels, and it’s been hard, stressful, and sad. In Denise’s interview, she says the situation with the fire tested their marriage. If they can get through this, they can get through anything. She tells Dorit that she loves Malibu, but doesn’t feel safe because of the toxins from the smoke. Dorit thanks them for picking her up. Denise tells Aaron, if anything happens. he has to have Dorit’s back. Dorit says people like Camille scare her. I say, oh please. In Dorit’s interview, she says she hates knowing she’ll be face-to-face with Camille. She doesn’t know which face Camille will bring out. Hopefully, not the batsh*t crazy one. I guess she’s not that scared, since she’s saying that on camera for posterity.

The guests begin to arrive. Kyle tells Mauricio, if her boob falls out, let her know. Futuristic servers greet the guests and carry trays with food and drink, and there are guys on stilts in futuristic costumes milling around. As much as you can mill on stilts anyway. In Kyle’s interview, she says when Mauricio started the agency, it was his idea to build a legacy their daughters could carry on. When she looks at what they’ve built, she feels happy and fulfilled. She asks Teddi if anyone else is there (i.e. Dorit or Camille). She tells Alexia that she’s not comfortable when her friends are arguing. Alexia says Kyle’s friends are next level.

Both Erika and LisaR decide to wear wigs, independently of each other. In Erika’s interview, she says she loves a pink wig. We flash back to a few times when she’s worn one. I’m not sure why she brings this up, since both of their wigs are platinum. She says, it never rains in LA, and a little bit can ruin your whole situation. Mauricio says blah-blah-blah about the building. Camille walks in. In her interview, she says she’s disappointed with her friends’ actions and behavior. She’s sick of being on the chopping block. It’s pretty heartless.

Blah-blah-blah, real estate talk. Teddi says, oh no; she’s here, and again I say, oh please. Kyle says Camille came all the way there in the rain. Camille says she came for Kyle, and Kyle asks how she is after the other night. She tells Kyle, the other night was a sh*t show. They ganged up on her. Kyle says it wasn’t their intention, and Camille can’t understand why they’d bring up anything at all. No surprise, Teddi tries to insert herself in the conversation, and Camille tells her, shut it down. Teddi isn’t worth her time. She didn’t jump on the LVP bitch train, and it’s not fair. She says she’s disappointed in Kyle, but Kyle insists they weren’t attacking her. In Kyle’s interview, she says Camille seemed remorseful when they left the dinner, and now she comes in guns blazing. What’s going on? Teddi steps into the reception area, as Erika and LisaR are coming in. She says she’s taking a breath. Camille came in hot with her and Kyle. She doesn’t like to be talked down to, but doesn’t like that Camille says they attacked her. Erika wonders how you stand up for yourself without going overboard. In her interview, Teddi says Camille can’t tear her down to make herself feel better about her sh*tty behavior. Kyle tells Camille it was a miscommunication. The euphemism for when people act nasty and get caught.

Dorit and Denise arrive next. Denise and LisaR agree they look like high class hookers. In Denise’s interview, she’s sure some hookers dress like this, but not the ones she’s met. LisaR asks for chat with Camille, and Camille says, no. After being attacked, she wants to wait a while. LisaR says Camille seemed like she understood, and was fine with things the other night. What changed? Camille says, after thinking about it, she realized it’s not her fault. She doesn’t have to say she’s sorry. LisaR says she was just sharing what happened in the van. Camille says she and LVP know what they’ve been through. LisaR asks if she’s okay with what she did to Dorit. In her interview, LisaR says Camille bringing up LVP is annoying. She feels sympathetic to what the women have gone through, but their behaviors existed in the group before they had loss. She tells Camille that she’s empathetic, and Camille says, really? In LisaR’s interview, she says when she lost her father, she wasn’t cut any slack. She was accused of being a pill popper and drug addict. We flash back to that, and I can’t believe she’s bringing up that silliness. Not to mention, she didn’t tell people about her father right away. And while I’m at it, she had some fine sensitivity when LVP’s brother died, posting birthday greetings along with a joke about pills – which is how he died. She asks if she played the victim. Camille asks why come at her because she said something nice about LVP? How disgusting is she? It’s disgustingly petty. Let’s figure out who the mean girl is. She thinks it’s LisaR.

Zzzzzzz… this party. Denise approaches Camille, and Camille says she likes Denise. She’s not getting into it. She does feel bad about what she said about Dorit though. Denise says she needs to apologize. In Denise’s interview, she says she and Camille have both been attacked in the press. To see this side of Camille, and for her to lash out at Dorit is unacceptable. Kyle picks up the mic, and says she’s excited and proud of what her husband and the agency have accomplished. When Alexia was six months old, he lost his job, and she suggested they get real estate licenses. It was a big risk for Mauricio going out on his own, but they’ve gone from six people to four hundred and eighty-five. Mauricio thanks everyone at the agency and his family. Camille and Denise continue their conversation, and Dorit tells them to let Mauricio finish his speech. Camille wants to apologize to Dorit. Dorit tells the others that she’s shaking. My third oh please of the night. Camille says she feels awful about what she said. Dorit says it hurt her. In Dorit’s interview, she says she doesn’t take anything Camille says seriously. She’s gone too low. One of the stilt dudes strolls by.

Assuming it’s her business, Teddi tells Camille that she doesn’t know what going on. She’s sorry for what Camille is going through, but she doesn’t like how Camille talked down to her. If Camille doesn’t like her, don’t hang out with her. Which is amusing, since Teddi keeps seeking Camille out. Camille says Teddi blew off her daughter. We flash back to Camille hearing that Teddi ignored her daughter at an event. Teddi swears she said hi. Denise butts in, disappointing me. Camille says Teddi snubbed her daughter, but Teddi insists she never did. Camille knows she wouldn’t do that. Camille says she doesn’t know that, and that’s not how her daughter feels. In Camille’s interview, she says, Teddi has a hard time being accountable for her own behavior. She says her daughter isn’t making it up, and Teddi says, stop talking down to her. Denise says Camille isn’t talking down to her. They’re not in seventh grade. She starts to say Camille knows some other thing, and Camille says again, she doesn’t know, especially after the other night. She tells Denise, back off, and Denise says, you back off. Because we’re not in seventh grade. In her interview, Denise says she was married Charlie, and can handle drama, but enough’s enough. Camille says she’s not going to be attacked. In her interview, Camille says, it hurt. It was unfair, the way they were coming after her and questioning her. She just lost her house and assistant. She needs time to heal. LisaR says all the women there for her. Camille says, she appreciates it, but it’s too much to process, and leaves.

In the car, Camille tells David that she’s not diminishing or dismissing her daughter’s feelings. He thinks she should chill out, and they should put it behind them. She thanks him for being there. Now that I’m thinking about it, why didn’t the ever-accountable and fan of apologies Teddi, just say she was sorry if she made Camille’s daughter feel snubbed?

Kyle tells the women not to go anywhere. She brought Provence to Denise, since she couldn’t be there. She brings out the rosé they were drinking, and we flash back to that. In her interview, she says the group has gotten close, and that’s something to celebrate. She was hoping Camille would be a part of it, but that’s not happening. Not tonight. They clink glasses, and LisaR says, cheers, to a fun effing time.

Six months later. The women gather at Kyle’s house, Kyle telling Erika that she looks like Mrs. Girardi today. She does look like a high-end Donna Reed. Lunch is set up outside. Dorit asks if anyone saw the video of LVP opening her restaurant in Vegas. She was wearing a crown, and came in on sleigh or something. We see the video, but it’s not a sleigh. It’s one of those things Cleopatra is carried on. (I looked it up, and it’s called a carrying chair/litter.) Camille is in the video, and Denise doesn’t know why she wasn’t invited. We see a clip of Camille visiting LVP, and telling her how the women came after her after she lost Scott and her house. As soon as LVP left, she was the target. LVP says after all the bullsh*t, she immersed herself in her Vegas project. Camille is sorry about Kyle, and LVP says her friendship was thrown in her face. Camille says, it’s not fair. Back at the table, Dorinda says LVP needs the devotion of the people around her. No wonder she’s called the queen. Kyle says, that’s why she wears a crown. Denise says she thought it was because she’s English.

LisaR says she ran into LVP in a parking garage. She heard LVP’s voice say, oh god. She didn’t say anything, and LVP got in her car. She was fumbling in her purse, and her nails were wet. LisaR asked if she needed some money. In her interview, she says she’s still willing to loan LVP a few bucks. She says LVP said, no, and if she did, she wouldn’t take LisaR’s money. Erika wonders, why wet nails in 2019? Kyle says she also bumped into LVP in Nieman Marcus. She said hi, and LVP said hello before she realized it was Kyle. She was really shocked. Kyle said she was sorry about how everything turned out, and everything that’s happened; it didn’t need be this way. LVP said Kyle called her a liar. We flash back to their depressing argument. Kyle says, she didn’t; those were LVP’s words. Oh come on. One more person that hides behind not using the exact words when they still conveyed the idea. She says, it felt sad. Nothing is going to change. She feels for what LVP is going through, but it doesn’t excuse her behavior, and it’s not behavior because she’s having a hard time. Teddi says they’re all capable of saying they’re sorry and moving on. There’s only one person who hasn’t apologized. Kyle says she can’t keep trying to fix it; she can’t do it anymore. In her interview, Kyle says, it felt like old times; she and LVP trying to talk through something. She misses her friend, but she never came around at all, and left no door open. Kyle tells them she felt lighter. She’s good. In her interview, she says, in hindsight, it feels like she was more invested in the friendship than LVP.

Erika says they’ve all made mistakes, and said they’re sorry. LisaR says she’s done things she’s not proud of, but has been able to move through it. She feels a sense of freedom with them, and doesn’t feel that much in life. She thanks them. Dorit asks Denise how the honeymoon stage is, and if they’re still in it. Denise says, always. In Denise’s interview, she says the fire made her realize she doesn’t need a lot in life. She’s had all the stuff, and realizes what she needs to live with simply. It was a lesson for her. Since it’s the finale, we see some text about her life. She’s moved from Malibu to Brentwood, and even though her married life is just beginning, she’s counting on a happy ending with Aaron. BA-DUM-CHH! Denise asks if Teddi and Edwin are still scheduling sex. In Teddi’s interview, she says she went along with LVP’s scheme because she’s a stupid idiot. No argument with that. She says she has to trust her gut, and no matter how hard it is, go directly to the person she has an issue with. Her blurb say she’s focusing on her business and family, and scheduling more time with Edwin. LisaR can’t believe how fast her kids have grown. They have prom and graduation; it’s happening. In her interview, she says she’s called people on their sh*t. We read that Amelia is off to college, and LisaR is an official empty nester, but still refuses to go camping with Harry. In Erika’s interview, she says she’s been with this group four years now. She was slow to open up, but it feels comfortable sharing. It’s nice to know she’s not alone. She says, things are good. We see that, although she loves her friends, she still takes pictures of her handwritten notes – just in case. Okay… Not sure where that’s coming from. Dorit says they’re still looking for a new home, and talks about her kids being at a yummy age. In her interview, she says there could have been better closure. She wasn’t prepared for the LVP trauma. The text says she’s still looking for her dream home, and Beverly Beach is debuting men’s swimwear called the Andy.  Brownnose much? Kyle says she doesn’t want an enemy, and doesn’t like having bad feelings about someone she cares about.

In LVP’s interview, she says between opening a new restaurant, her personal issues, and the screw up with her friends, she’s had a lot to deal with. She feels like she’s in a different place. Out with the old, and in with the new. We read that LVP has many crowns to wear, but says her favorite times are at home with her dogs. Which is why I love her. She still hasn’t made amends with her friends.

Kyle says her girlfriends are beautiful, talented, and successful. She couldn’t be happier. In her interview, she says she was afraid to be honest and speak her truth with LVP, since she knew the outcome wouldn’t be good. But ultimately, she feels like she did the right thing. She grew as a person. Hopefully, for the better. She tells the women, instead of saying, I have to, say, I get to, and everyone tries it with crap they don’t want to do. Kyle’s ending says that she’s still waiting to give LVP her birthday present. She’s also working on some new TV projects, which she hopes don’t cause conflict with her sisters.

The women clink glasses, and LisaR says, the best is yet to come. Maybe so, but I don’t think I’ll be watching.
