What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
đżÂ Ugh. Last night, my entire line of FIOS services died. Phone, TV, Internet â poof! This happens so rarely, I didnât even think it happened anymore. Even worse, it involved a technician having to come out this morning. Not only did I get cut off ten minutes before the end of Southern Charm, I had my first eBay sale since forever (summer always sux â eBay motto), and I couldnât get to it. I now have email up the wazoo as well. To top it off, it came back briefly, teasing me with the SC rerun being close to where I left off, and then disappeared again. This is what happens when you live your life electronically, as Iâm sure you know if youâve ever lost your phone. At present, Iâm all for going back to horses, buggies, and three TV channels, plus one for viewer supported programming. Taking comfort in small favors, Iâm just glad it wasnât the electricity that went out, since itâs been like, 110 degrees, and I would turn into a huge baby without air conditioning. The verdict? Blah-blah-blah, power supply.
So hereâs yesterdayâs post, just in case you missed the shows.
General Hospital
Josslyn looks at the compass. Dev asks if her phone is busted or did she lose it? He swears he didnât steal it. She says itâs right there, and asks what heâs talking about. He says she has a compass on her phone. Why is she using that one? She says Oscar gave it to her. He says, sorry, and she says, donât do that. Donât act like everyone else; like she canât hear his name. He says she didnât want him talking about Oscar before. Which is it? Carly comes in, and asks if thereâs a problem.
Ava tells Julian that he thought it was foolish of her to work with a psychic, but it happened. On the roof of the hospital, and she has proof. Sonny comes in, and Julian asks to what he owes this displeasure. Sonny was hoping Ava would be there. Sheâs surprised to hear that, and he asks, what was she thinking, giving a message to Avery from Kiki?
Cameron thanks Elizabeth and Franco for meeting him at Charlieâs. Elizabeth says sheâs nervous, and he says he knows itâs weird, but he wants to come at this like adult; approach it together. Elizabeth say, approach what? adding, her blood pressure just went up. Cameron puts car keys on the table, and says he got a car.
Willow meets Alexis at the MetroCourt, and asks if Diane is there. Alexis takes it that she got the same text. Willow says, Diane has a knack for being cryptic. Alexis says, she also has a flair the dramatic. She called Brad and Lucas to come. She says itâs good to see Willow out of lockup, and Willow says itâs good to be out. Alexis says she should be proud of herself for standing up to protect her child. Sheâs worried it was for nothing. She saw Shiloh, and knows heâs trying to take Wiley from Brad and Lucas. They both know he can make it happen.
Brad goes into Obrechtâs room while sheâs asleep. He prepares a shot. Nina comes to the door, and asks what heâs doing there. He says drawing blood for tests, and she asks if he doesnât run the lab. Isnât this left to the technicians? He says, normally, but Britt isnât there, and he thought sheâd want her mom to have a little extra TLC. Obrecht is awake, and says, by someone not unaccustomed needles poking her with one? Nina thanks him, and he says he wishes heâd been on deck when Obrecht fell. Obrecht says, for the last time, she was pushed. If there was any justice in the world, her would-be assassin would be behind bars. Nina tells her to quit her huffing and puffing; itâs not good for her. Obrecht says, watch it, or sheâll blow Ninaâs house down. Nina says, itâs made of stone; good luck. Lucas asks to talk to Brad. Itâs important. Nina tells him, go, unless this is something urgent. Brad says it isnât, and follows Lucas. In the hallway, Lucas says Alexis wants to meet with them about Wiley.
Alexis tells Willow, Shiloh is being held in custody for a myriad of crimes, including attempted rape. Heâs also being investigated for murder, and wonât get custody. Willow says, he beat the charges before; they didnât stick. Alexis says they will this time. Diane comes in, and Alexis asks her to please give her client good news. She could use it.
Josslyn tells Carly, the problem is her. Dev says he didnât say that. She knows he didnât, but itâs the truth. She blows up when he says Oscar is really dead, and gets pissed when he tiptoes around her. Sheâs become a schizo whack-job. Itâs not his fault. She apologizes for future moments when she might confuse the hell out of him. Carly says, heck. Dev says he should get to work, and Carly has some forms for him to drop off. He leaves, and Josslyn says he seems on the ball. Carly says, he sure didnât look at the forms. She thinks he left so they can talk alone. And they need to talk.
Cameron says Oscar left the car to him as part of his will. Obviously, it means a lot to him, and he really wants to keep it. He knows what theyâre going to say; where? They only have one space in the garage, and one permit for the street. He was thinking of asking the Quartermaines, since Oscar was part of the family, but if that doesnât work, he can talk to Josslyn. Or he can ask Sonny right now. Elizabeth says, no. She means to asking Sonny, and Cameron asks if that means yes on keeping the car?
Sonny tells Ava that Avery is four years old. She says she knows how old their daughter is. He says death is a hard concept for a little kid, and the first thing she asked was when her big brother was going to send a message. Ava says, she asked about Morgan? and Sonny says, of course (đˇ). Ava didnât think Avery would remember, but Sonny says they tell her stories and show her pictures, but she misses Kiki and remembers her. Now Ava set up the expectation of her talking to Kiki every day. Do it again, and see what happens.
Obrecht asks Nina, whatâs the latest on Hayden? Has she been thrown in the hoosegow for the attempt on Obrechtâs life. Nina asks if sheâs sure it wasnât accident. Maybe she was having too much fun, and lost her footing. Obrecht insists she was pushed, and that swindler Hayden is the one who did it.
Brad asks Lucas what Alexis said, but Lucas says she didnât know anything, and guesses they should go. He tells Brad that his mom said she overheard Obrecht saying something about Wileyâs real father. Brad asks why Lucas didnât tell him, and Lucas says, it was weird. What does Brad think she might know? Brad says he has no idea. Everything about Obrecht is weird.
Elizabeth completely understands why Cameron would want to keep the car. Sheâs proud of him. Heâs being mature and responsible. She hopes the trend continues. Franco reminds Cameron that his license is still suspended. Cameron says, temporarily, and Elizabeth says heâs done a good job so far with community service. Franco says, cars arenât cheap, and Elizabeth says they expect him to contribute. Cameron says, thatâs fair, and Elizabeth says, if anything changes⌠Franco says, he loses the car. Cameron says, if he can lose it, that means it has to happen in the first place. Is the car his? Elizabeth says, of course (đˇ) it is. Oscar wanted it to be. Cameron hugs her, and Franco says they still have the parking situation to deal with. Elizabeth thinks eventually theyâll have to park in a garage, and Cameron offers to help with that. He says he has to get back, and thanks them. When he leaves, they sit there laughing.
Sonny tells Ava that Avery is wrapping her mind around the fact Kiki is gone. Ava says her too. He says, leave her daughter out of it, and Ava says she wanted Avery to know her big sister misses and loves her. Sonny says then tell Avery she had a dream, not a message. Grieve the way she wants, but leave Avery out of it. She says, or what? Sonny asks if she wants to fight him. If she doesnât want to make it worse, keep the physic feelings to herself, and away from his daughter.
Josslyn tells Carly that she hates being that girl. She cries that sheâs sensitive, but gets mad when someone uses kid gloves. Pick one. Carly doesnât know what robots Josslyn is hanging out with, but conflicting emotions are a part of life. Josslyn says she wasnât fair to Dev after the tough stuff he experienced in Turkey. Carly asks if he told her that, and Josslyn says, it doesnât take a genius to know he had a rough life. Carly says Josslynâs life hasnât been easy, but Josslyn says, Dev isnât taking his baggage out on her. Who is she to do that to him? Carly says, she was there first. She gets to have an opinion, and it doesnât make her the bad guy.
Brad and Lucas get to the MetroCourt. Brad asks if something happened with Shiloh, and Diane says, it did indeed. Alexis asks her to put them out of their misery, and Diane says, in light of Shilohâs arrest, she petitioned the court to suspend any proceedings in family court. Thereâs no longer any connection between Wiley and Shiloh. Lucas asks, what about the DNA test? and Diane says, itâs not legal. Shiloh needs admissible back-up. He has no legal link to their son, and is precluded from forming one. Brad says he needs a translator, and Alexis says, Shiloh canât move forward until his criminal case is decided. Lucas says, thatâs good news, and Diane says, itâs the best news.
Carly wants Josslyn to know she takes precedence. She knows Josslyn is still grieving. Itâs a process, and thereâs no time limit. Itâs painful, and it can make you schizo. Thereâs a boy living in her house, and she has to lie about it, and cover in front of her friends. If Dev stays or goes, she gets a vote. Josslyn asks how Carly feels, and Carly says, since Dev risked his life to help Sonny, she thinks they should help him. Josslyn says, sounds simple, and Carly says, itâs important to Sonny to pay his debt. They donât know Dev, and itâs a big adjustment. Maybe itâs bad timing with the baby coming and what sheâs going through. Maybe they should look at it as a trial. See how they get along, and take it from there. But as they go on, Carly wants Josslynâs input, good or bad. She may like it, and that would be great, but if not, tell her. Donât push it down and stay quiet. They can find other options. Josslyn says they wonât throw him on the street, and Carly says theyâll find another way to help him where heâs not a member of the family. Any comments are questions? Josslyn says, no, Mrs. Corinthos, and Carly admits she does sound like a teacher. She tells Josslyn to let her know how sheâs feeling. Itâs important to her and Sonny. They hug.
Trina almost trips over Dev, whoâs sitting on the ground in the park. She says, they have benches for that purpose, and he tells her, donât walk and text. She says sheâs a phenomenal multitasker, and he says sheâs not as good as she thinks. She texts Josslyn to let her know she ran into Dev. Cameron goes speeding past on his bike, and Trina asks, whereâs the fire? He says heâs late for community service, and she says he told her it was at eleven. He double-checks, and says he must have gotten the schedule mixed up. He was nervous because he had to talk to his mom and Franco. Trina asks what he did now, and he says he just explained that heâs the proud owner of a car.
Elizabeth says she didnât know the effect Oscarâs death would have on Cameron. Franco says, itâs emotional bootcamp, and she says, a life-altering tragedy makes people more sensitive. You appreciate the people around you more. Franco says, Cameron is working through what it feels like being the kid who got to live.
Ava tells Julian that Sonny never misses a chance to undermine her. She sarcastically thanks him for defending her, and asks why he didnât say anything. He says he agrees with Sonny. Heâs not pretending to understand how she feels. Only she knows the depth of her grief. All he knows is what he observes from the outside, and under any other circumstances, thereâs no way sheâd have anything to do with a psychic; let alone give a message from one. He thinks she needs grief counseling.
Diane says Shiloh and his attorney used the child being in possible danger to bypass the legal elements. Now that they know Wiley isnât in danger, all the steps they went through arenât considered legally admissible. Because of the criminal charges, Shiloh will have to go all the way back to the beginning. Lucas says, so any progress heâs made⌠Diane says, itâs gone. Heâs legally suspended from family court until his criminal charges have been adjudicated. On the off-chance he isnât found guilty, heâll have to start from scratch. Alexis says, even proving that Willow gave birth. Lucas asks, what if heâs guilty? and Diane says, he has no legal avenue to pursue their son.
Sonny comes home, and Carly asks if he found Ava. He says he thinks he managed to get his message across. Carly asks if Ava was receptive, and he says, what does she think? She says she had a talk with Josslyn about Dev. Whatâs best for him, and them. Sonny asks how Josslyn feels about Dev living there, and she says Josslyn is keeping an open mind. She told Josslyn that theyâre in this together. If something is imposing on her, she has to say so. Check in, and let them know how sheâs feeling. Sonny says, if Dev was three-year-old, heâd send him to live with Milo and Epiphany, but thatâs not the case. The kid needs help, and Sonny doesnât want to let him down.
Trina says, for real? and Cameron says Oscar left him his car. Trina doesnât know whether to cry or celebrate. She asks if his mom was cool, and he says, cooler than he thought sheâd be. He guesses it was hard to argue with. Trina says she canât wait until the next road trip. Cameron asks if sheâs sure thatâs a good idea after the last time, and Dev asks, what happened? Trina says, what didnât? They drove to Niagara Falls. Cameron drove slow, but they hit a pothole, and had to get their tire fixed. Luckily, Josslynâs dad had given her funding, so they got a motel. Dev asks, why not pick the lock. If you see thereâs no luggage, you can crash there. Trina says, itâs breaking and entering â and trespassing. Cameron says, for real, and Dev says, maybe things are different from⌠Josslyn says, heâs from a rough neighborhood. Isnât that right? Dev says, right.
Elizabeth asks if Franco believes in psychics. He says he doesnât know. Itâs a little weird how Sibley said he wouldnât be feeling like himself soon. Elizabeth asks if he isnât coming down with a cold, and he says, that must be it. Elizabeth tells him, Sibley was right about one thing â donât let him go â and she plans never to do that. They kiss, and Elizabethâs phone dings. She says itâs the pictures from the party. They look at the photos.
Ava says, Kiki is dead, and Julian says he thinks she needs to talk to someone. She says, and say what exactly? That her daughter was murdered, and she never got a chance to say sheâs sorry and make amends? She needs that. She needs to know Kikiâs soul is at peace. Julian says, so sheâs paying a woman to lie and tell her that. She says, thatâs not what happened. If Sibley had told her what she wanted to hear, she would have known it was a racket, but she conveyed that Kiki is still furious. She doesnât want contact. That told her it was real, and she needs to work harder to make Kiki understand.
Nina suggests Obrecht look at it rationally. Obrecht asks if Nina thinks sheâs not rational, but Nina tells her, sheâs not saying that. Hayden has been away for a year and a half. She left after she stole from the hospital, and when she flew back, her first order of business is to try and off Obrecht? Obrecht says, correct. Nina says it might be something Obrecht would do, but most of the population wouldnât. Obrecht says, it was someone on the yacht. She didnât slip. She was pushed into the frigid waters. Nina says, itâs July. She canât deal with Obrecht like this, and asks to talk about anything else. Obrecht asks Nina to pass her tablet, which is about two feet away. Nina does, and Obrecht says she wants to read Nina her latest column. Itâs a masterpiece. Nina says, if she says so. She asks Obrecht, whatâs wrong? and Obrecht says sheâs supposed to be on Page Five, but was pushed to the bowels of the magazine for this sex cult nonsense. Nina says, give her that, and takes the tablet.
Diane says their legal firewall is back in place, and for all intents and purposes, Wiley is staying where he is. Brad and Lucas get to keep their son. Lucas says sheâs been incredible. They owe her a huge debt, but the person who gave up the most is Willow. He knows the point was to give Wiley to them, but she could have stopped there. Willow says she couldnât. Lucas says theyâll be forever grateful, and hugs her.
Carly tells Sonny that Dev is at the MetroCourt. He doesnât even know where heâs supposed to drop off the forms she gave him. She thinks he wanted to leave her and Josslyn alone to talk. She asks what theyâre going to do after the summer, and Sonny says, PC high school. Carly wants it to work, but he has to live and go to school with Josslyn. She thinks it would be smart to have a back-up plan. Sonny says heâs open for suggestions. She says sheâs done some research, and found some boarding schools that are a good fit.
Cameron says he has to bike everywhere for now, and Dev says heâll drive them anywhere they want. Trina asks if he has a driverâs license, and he shows it to her. She says, strange, and Josslyn says Trina has a license too. Cameron says heâs going to need a garage, and is going to have to help pay for it. Josslyn suggests he keep the car at her house, but he says he suggested that. She says, his mom wasnât into it? and Trina says she doesnât think his mom wants the car next to limos with bullet proof windows. Josslyn knows who her stepfather is. Dev says, Sonny is a great man. Powerful and trustworthy. Cameron says, Mr. Corinthos is the coolest. Dev says he has to turn in some forms, and Josslyn says sheâll see him at home. When heâs gone, Trina says, tough neighborhood, huh?
Franco and Elizabeth continue to look at the pictures. He says, Hayden knows sheâs a showstopper. Elizabeth says, she knows how make a splashy entrance, and Franco says, Obrecht made a splashy exit. He sees a picture of Obrecht, and says, now thereâs a face that says feeling no pain. Elizabeth says, before she fell, and Franco says, was pushed.
Nina remembers Shiloh from the Nurses Ball. Obrecht asks, what kind of name is Shiloh? Nina says she thought he was creepy. Itâs no surprise he was running a cult. Obrecht says, heâs slime, and they know how to deal with people like that in the old country. In America, theyâre so soft. Nina tells her, it says Willow was jailed over a custody dispute with Shiloh.
Lucas asks Brad for an antacid, saying he didnât finish breakfast. Brad says he has to make a quick phone call. Alexis says, itâs the best outcome they could hope for. Lucas asks if she thinks this is it, and Shiloh will never be a problem again. She says, never say never, but this is as close as it gets. Brad calls Julian, and asks if heâs sitting down. Julian says, that bad, and Brad says, that good. Since Shiloh was arrested, the judge suspended his custody proceedings. Wiley is his and Lucasâs son. Julian says, for now, and Brad says, for the foreseeable future Julianâs grandson is with them.
Willow tells Diane that she canât believe itâs over. Diane says, the legal system isnât perfect, but it can work, and in this case it did. Sheâs so happy. She hugs Willow, and leaves. Brad feels like they need to celebrate. Willows says, itâs early for drinks, but Brad says, not in this situation. Lucas says thereâs something they still need to deal with. As much as heâd like to pretend Shiloh doesnât exist, they need to get their hands on his medical records.
Josslyn tells Trina that Dev is a nice guy; leave him alone. Trina says she likes him, but heâs talking about breaking and entering, and he shows up at Josslynâs house. Josslyn says, heâs really harmless, and Sonny is all about it. Trina asks if itâs hard having him around, but Josslyn says she has so much going on, she barely notices him. Cameron has to jet, and leaves for his service work. Josslyn says Trina doesnât believe her. Trina says she believes Josslyn thinks Dev is a decent guy. Beyond that⌠Josslyn says theyâre still figuring it out. They leave the park.
Carly shows Sonny something on the computer, and says the schools are amazing. They have top-notch teachers, and state-of-the-art facilities. Theyâre all within driving distance, so Dev can visit. Sonny says he knows this kid because he was this kid. The schools are great, and heâd be running the place in six weeks. Carly asks if Sonny thinks Dev wonât stay. Sonny thinks Dev can take care of himself, but he has to know thereâs help, and he can accept it. Dev comes in, but stays silent in the background. Sonny says he wants the kidâs ability and savvy, and wants him invested in being there. He wants Dev to know who they are, and how they operate, and be a part of it. Carly says, then thatâs what she wants too. Dev smiles.
Julian tells Ava, good news. She asks if heâs decided to support his sister. He says, it looks like Wileyâs custody has been resolved. At least for the time being. She says. that is good news. Hopefully, soon sheâll have some of her own.
Brad thinks Lucas was right the first time. They should forget Shiloh completely. Lucas asks if Brad remembers when they thought Wiley had a heart condition. They need to be prepared. The more they know about Wileyâs birth father, the better.
Nina says the baby Willow gave up for adoption was Shilohâs. His parental rights were denied because Willow never told him that she was pregnant. Obrecht says, shocking, not wanting to raise a human with someone like that in their life. Nina says she and Willow got into it at the Nurses Ball, and Shiloh was there. What if he learned about the baby from her?
Franco makes the picture bigger. He wonders if thatâs an accurate representation of what he looks like. Elizabeth says, since when does he care? and he says, since always. He looks more closely, and says, weird. Someone else is in the picture. We see the shadow of someone holding something in the background.
Tomorrow, Sasha wants to move from Windymere, Curtis asks if Valentin wants it faster or right, Franco thinks someone was watching him and Obrecht, and Sam has a surprise for Jason.

Southern Charm
Shep takes photos of some land. Cameran joins him, and he calls her his real estate expert friend. Cameran says, itâs so cool. Itâs beautiful, and on a lake, but pretty swampy. Shep says when he saw it, heâd decided if it was at a reasonable price, he was getting it. Heâs in contract now. He tells her itâs 3.5 acres, and she asks how much is buildable. He says, 2.5, but he doesnât have a site plan yet. In Cameranâs interview, she says sheâd never invest in this land. All she sees is money going down the toilet. A money pit. He says you can get to dinner downtown in eighteen minutes. Thereâs a log, and she yells, gator! and Shep jumps a mile. He says good thing she didnât say, snake. She tells him, itâs gorgeous, and asks what the development name is. He says, Just the Tip. She says she canât wait to go to Colorado; she loves skiing. Shep says he tore his knee riding a mechanical bull, so he canât ski. She says she asked Madison to come. In her interview, she says sheâs known Madison for ten years. If she cared about everything Shep gets upset about, theyâd no longer be friends. She tells Shep that Madison and Austen were texting non-stop while Madison was doing her hair. Shep says heâs not throwing stones, as he throws a literal stone.
Metul and Naomie meet for breakfast. He points out breakfast treats that will give you diabetes, but she wants one anyway. She says she has to catch him up, since he missed a lot. She tells him about skeet shooting. She says she was talking to Cameran, who said she should talk to Craig, and she thought it was a good time. We flash back to her telling Craig that sheâs gotten more out of the conversation they just had, than the last two hundred combined. Metul doesnât understand people who gossip so much, and feed off drama. In Naomieâs interview, she says sheâs never heard Metul say a bad thing about another person. He holds himself to higher standards, but sometimes she wants to talk sh*t. She tells him that sheâs the best girlfriend because she respects his opinion. He says sheâs a normal girlfriend. Congratulations. Sheâs in a normal relationship.
Craigâs college friend Jerry comes for a visit. Craig tells Jerry that his house is a grown-up version of a frat house. Jerry says, it still looks like one. In Craigâs interview, he says Jerry was one of the first people he met in Charleston. They went to school together, and now Jerry works for the sports department at NBC. Jerry is in the spot he thought heâd be in at thirty-one. Roommate Sean tells Jerry that Craig is still being a vampire, and doing sewing at night. Craig says when he and Naomie broke up, he was losing it, and started sawing pillows. He shows Jerry one of his masterpieces, and Jerry asks if heâs supposed to believe Craig sewed this. Craig spills his drink, and Jerry says he canât even do that. Craig leaves to bring down a few more finished pieces, and Jerry asks Sean if Craig really sewed those. Sean says he did a bunch of them, and left them on Seanâs bed. He found them when he came home from a work trip. Craig brings down a pillow that says Penelope on it. Craig says that was the kid he and Naomie were going to have, and never will. He has one hundred orders he needs to fill, and hasnât done anything yet. Jerry says heâs sitting on $5K in orders. Craig says he definitely could be doing more. Ya think? Jerry says his fiancĂŠâs sister has online stores, and they can figure out merchandising and manufacturing. Craig has to remove himself from the manufacturing. Â But he only wants to do if he Craig puts in the effort; itâs his passion. He loves Craig, but letâs be real. Craig asks how he proves heâs serious, and Jerry tells him, figure out three designs, and what the cost is. Craig starts calculating something. He says heâs excited, but nervous, and Jerry says, just do it. Donât talk about it.
Kathryn meets Whitney for lunch. They make small talk, and order. She says Eliza invited her to the brunch, and Whitney says heâs sorry she couldnât be there. She says, tragic. Referring to Ashley, Whitney wonders how nutso she has to be to subject herself to everyone there who didnât want her there. Kathryn says, she has no capacity for feeling empathy. The apologizing stuff is bullsh*t. She looks at her phone, and says Whitneyâs mom just texted her. Kathryn asks if Whitney thinks itâs weird that she and his mom are friends. He says heâs tried to get his mom to come to LA, and Kathryn says Patricia visited in the summer, when she came out. On that subject, she went for coffee with Craig and Austen, and it came out that theyâd hooked up, but they said he denied it. Sheâs curious as to why. He clears his throat, drinks some coffee, and laughs nervously. He says they have different interpretations of the events. Huh? We all know you do it wearing your glasses, Whitney. She says heâs lying; it happened. He shakes his head, and says, no. In Kathrynâs interview, she says sheâs had people lie and say they had sex with her, but sheâs never had them deny it. Whitney says, heâs flattered, and Kathryn says sheâs just being honest. She tells him, that was awkward, and Whitney says, how about them Mets? Not really, but thatâs what I interject when a conversation takes an awkward turn. He says heâs looking forward to the trip. It should be fun. She says she is too, and they concentrate on their juice.
Austen goes to a restaurant to meet his parents, I guess for dinner, since itâs dark out now. Austen says he dropped off some beer to his distributor, since he hadnât tasted it. He tells them about the trip to Colorado, and says the snow report is fantastic. In his interview, Austen says that, growing up, they went on ski trips every spring break with his older sister. We see a clip of him telling Chelsea about his sisterâs death from a fall. Mom Wendy says she remembers trying to keep up with them. He says, out west, weed is legal. Dad Tom says he knows nothing about it, but Iâm not sure if heâs joking or not. Austen says he looked into getting a chef to cook food with THC. Would they partake if it was available? Wendy says she definitely would, and Tom says heâs not afraid of new things. Which I guess means they smoke weed.
While sheâs packing, Cameran calls Jason, saying she misses Palmer already. She tells him to stick to her schedule. Everyone gets ready. Craig has to call his assistant Anna to find out where his suitcases are. He realizes heâs looking right at them. Shep has friend Tony puppysitting Lil Craig, who gets cuter every time I see him. The group meets at the airport, everyone getting there between 5 and 6 am. They check in. I took a 7 am flight once and swore, never again.
Theyâre in Denver at 11:24. Austen and Madison hug, and Austen says theyâre going to have fun. Shepâs mouth hangs open. Cameran say she doesnât like mountain driving, and Whitney doesnât want to be on the road seven hours, which I guess is how long it takes to get where theyâre staying. I donât blame him. Thatâs a long ride. Craig tells Whitney, shut up or go home. Heâll pay for a plane ticket back. Whitney calls him a d*ckhead, and Shep says, relax. Craig says he canât listen to Whitneyâs bitching. Chelsea asks if Craig is drunk. His aggression seems like a lot. He says heâs not drunk; heâs dead serious, and heâs never speaking to her again. Cameran says theyâre sleep deprived. All they need is a nap. In her interview, Cameran says Craig launches into rages, and she doesnât know where they come from. We flash back to Cameranâs party. Shep says, itâs called free will. Craig says heâs done; get the eff away from him. Heâs done with everyone. He storms out of the airport. Shep says, in America, you have choices. Austen says, letâs go shred. Cameran asks if Craig really left, and Whitney hopes so.
They head to the bus. Cameran says all the moisture in her skin is leaving. Craig is already on bus. Shep says, look who they found. Craig gripes that it took them long enough. Cameran asks the driver if the drive is scary, and he says, not at all. Shep says the bus smells of rich mahogany. Craig asks if Whitney is staying or taking a flight. Cameran says sheâs doing what Whitneyâs doing. Craig says, this is what happens when you get shipped off to boarding school when youâre six. In Craigâs interview, he says Whitney isnât fun anymore. He has to hang out with people like Craig. Craig wonders wtf theyâre waiting for. Cameran says she loves him, but he canât do this. She and Whitney leave the bus. Kathryn gets on, and wonders what everyone is freaking out about. Chelsea tells Craig not to be disrespectful, and Craig tells Chelsea, shut up, and she says, you STFU. Because weâre still six. She tells him that he needs to check his pants for a vagina, because heâs being a p*ssy. (For some reason, my husband thinks this is the funniest thing ever.) Craig says, whatever, which is the same as admitting defeat. He calls them idiots, and Chelsea says she has a bigger d*ck than him. He says heâs getting a car, and gets off the bus. Standing outside, Cameran tells him, take a breath. Chelsea doesnât like him talking to people like that, and Shep says heâs proud of her. Cameran tells Craig, take a deep breath. He says he wants everyone to be nice, and not weird. In Cameranâs interview, she says sheâs learned as a mother, when a baby has a tantrum, you let them cry it out, pat them on the head, and eventually, everything is going to be okay. They get back on the bus. The ride gets really quiet.
As they near their destination, Austen says thereâs a dispensary there. He wants to stop, but they donât have to go if they donât want to. Craig asks if everyone remembers when they turned twenty-one, and went to the liquor store for the first time. Craig says he canât partake, since heâs an attorney. Yeah, he might practice law at some point in the next fifty years. In her interview, Kathryn says weed is one reason she lost her children. This is the first time sheâs been around it since rehab, and no one is acknowledging it. Chelsea wants a high that makes her deaf. She sees a guy smoking on the corner. Kathryn tells Danni, no one gives a sh*t about her, and she doesnât want to be around it. Cameran says sheâll stay, and Whitney says he will too. In her interview, Cameran says she knows weed is legal, and wants to smoke it for her anxiety, but her anxiety isnât allowing her to smoke it. Bummer.
Austen, Shep, Chelsea, and Eliza go into the dispensary. They buy a bunch of different stuff. Itâs pretty mind blowing how many products they have. Shepâs total is around $200, and the clerk tells him, stay high. They get back on the bus, and Cameran says, letâs roll, but I donât think she meant to make a joke.
They get to their destination, Steamboat Springs. Shep says, it looks like a cool town. The bus has to stop short of the house because of ice, and the group has to walk the rest of the way.Chelsea says, itâs steep, and it is. Itâs quite a hike uphill to the two houses they have between them, which of course are fabulous. Cameran says she doesnât want to be where Craig is. Chelsea wants to go straight to bed; she doesnât even want to eat. Cameran says she canât breathe because of the altitude. Shep points out the obvious by saying, itâs cold. The houses are a modern lodge design, and very beautiful. The sportsmanâs IKEA. Shep likes sleeping underground, and goes downstairs. They all claim rooms. Cameran asks Craig, please be quiet tonight. Sheâs so tired. I canât figure out who ends up in which house, since thereâs a lot of milling around and going back and forth.
Craig, Shep, Austen, and Don (Elizaâs boyfriend) go out to a restaurant. Madison and Kathryn get in the hot tub. Madison says, moms gone wild, and Kathryn says, this is as wild as itâs gotten in a long time. She asks how Madison and Austen are doing, and Madison says she hates him, but loves him at the same time.
At the bar, the guys order a bottle of wine, Shep says, letâs indulge. He looks at Craig, who says, always indulge, and they order a lot of wonderful sounding food. Craig asks Shep how many edibles he had before they went out. Shep asks if Austen is getting honey on his stinger tonight. Must be a Southern expression. Craig says, itâs called backsliding, and Austen says, itâs a definite possibility.
Madison says Austen is the third boyfriend sheâs had since she was eighteen. Sheâs cared more about him because heâs like a best friend. She needs to get over whatâs gone on between them. She says he does too, but they havenât talked. She thinks they should move on. Sheâs not trying to change anyone. Sheâs got no time for that. We flash back to the video of her finding Austen with two other girls. Kathryn says, you just canât tell anymore.
đ Hereâs where my internet died, but in the interest of finishing what I started, I watched the rest On Demand as soon as it was back.
The guys are impressed by the food. Shep decides he loves saying charcuterie. Craig thinks Madison still wants to hook up with Austen, and Don says itâs the perfect weekend for it. Craig points out that they spent months telling Austen not to see her â we flash back to some of that â and now theyâre encouraging it. Shep says heâs her favorite port in a storm. Craig says if he hooked up with a girl he was trying to get over, it would make getting over her harder. Eliza calls Don, and Shep answers. He asks if sheâs sexting them, and turning the tables, asks Eliza what theyâre wearing. Craig says, ski masks and socks. Don takes the phone, and Eliza says she was going to wait up, but sheâs tired. Craig says he doesnât miss those calls. Just let him have fun.
The guys drive back, declaring it a damn good meal. Madison says they missed the hot tub, and Austen and Craig get in, Austen nearly falling and cracking his head open. Kathryn is a good sport and gets them a bottle of champagne, along with a weird device that shoots it, that they probably bought on Amazon Prime Day. Madison promptly gets it in the face, and says sheâs blind. Austen wipes it from her eyes. Kathryn asks if theyâre ready to go to bed, and mentions how muscular Madison is in comparison to Austen. Austen says sheâs jacked because she goes to the gym every day.
Back inside, Madison asks Austen if he was offended by Kathrynâs comment. He asks her to flex, but thatâs a no, so he does. Itâs less than impressive. He thanks her for inviting herself, even though Cameran invited her, and she says sheâs glad heâs being adult enough to get along with her. He says sheâs an independent woman, and she asks if that isnât why he likes her. They hug, and she tells him that his body is just great. They go to their separate rooms
Next time, snowboarding, skiing, and falling; Kathryn shows Danni the text from Whitney, asking her to come over; Shep insists heâs not mad at Madison; and Craig confronts Whitney about hooking up with Kathryn.

Visit Ramona in Southhampton.
But maybe youâd better not bring Kyle. Mauricio might be a plus though. Especially if he brings his stash of whatever he had in Hawaii.
