December 15, 2017 – Franco Wants to Come Clean, a Curse is Evoked & Renewal Happiness

General Hospital

Anna tells Finn it’s lucky he met her, and he says his presence is the only thing preventing her from putting on a bathrobe and adopting a cat. She can’t believe he played the cat card, and says plenty of men would want to be with her, starting with him. He asks if she thinks he wants to be with her, and she says, doesn’t he? He grabs her and kisses her. He says she’s still arrogant, and she says he’s still miserable. They kiss some more.

Franco asks if Elizabeth wants to go to the art therapy room for some therapy. She likes the idea, but has to mail Jake’s cards. She says he made a card for Franco, and Drew, who he still looks at as his father, but not for Jason. Franco says it’s an adjustment. Elizabeth says normally she’d ask Andre, and Franco says, no, she doesn’t want to do that.

Jordan brings Andre some food from Kelly’s. She hears Julian shouting. He wants to know what’s going on, and why he was dragged down there. Jordan tells him to kindly dial it down. He says he’s not saying another word until his lawyer gets there. Magically, Scotty appears, and Julian complains that they didn’t even read him his rights. Scotty was supposed to get the shackles off. He says he’s done with trials, prison, and the PCPD. He says he’s walking out. If they don’t like it, shoot him.

Alexis waits for Drew in his office. He tells her sorry he’s late. He needs some help with some contracts and other paperwork. She tells him those are legalities that can be arranged. She’s not just any attorney, she’s Sam’s mom, and needs to know if he’s going to do right by her daughter.

At the docks, Sam says Jason wanted her to have the ring because she was his wife, but she’s not anymore.

Anna’s phone rings. It’s Robin. Anna says she wishes she had something exciting to report, but things are dull at the moment. I’m surprised Robin isn’t asking what’s wrong, since Anna answered the phone panting, like she was in the middle of a workout.

Franco tells Elizabeth why make trouble where none exists? Jason is doing fine. Elizabeth is disappointed in Andre and herself. She trusted him, and it’s made her doubt everything and everybody. Franco asks if he’s included, but she says no, she has complete faith in him. He says he’s going to do whatever he can to make sure it stays that way. Elizabeth tells him that she loves him, and they start kissing. Kiki clears her throat, and says she’s going to report them to HR for fraternizing. Franco says they’re not fraternizing; they’re just making out. Kiki comments on Elizabeth’s ring, and tells them congratulations. Elizabeth says she’ll be back, and they can go home together. Kiki tells her that she’ll keep an eye on him. When Elizabeth is gone, Kiki asks if everything is okay, and Franco says, great, but it doesn’t sound like it.

Julian whines that it’s open season on Julian Jerome, like always. Jordan tells him if he doesn’t quit it, she’ll have him arrested for resisting release. DA Campbell elected not to retry the case. Scotty says the good news is, he’s free; the bad news is, his bill is a doozy.

Drew tells Alexis nothing personal, but it’s not his life he needs help with; it’s Aurora. Now that they’ve determined he’s not Jason, he wonders what the legalities are. Alexis asks why he doesn’t go to Diane, since she negotiated the purchase. He says she’s no longer his lawyer; she’s Jason’s. he’s worried that she’s going to confiscate what’s his, and give it to Jason. Alexis says she is fiercely diligent. Drew asks if he can count on her help. She says that depends on if she can count on his.

Sam says when she thought Drew was Jason, they started to reconnect, but wanted a clean slate, so they got divorced. They wanted a fresh start, instead of recreating the past. When he asked her to marry him, he put this ring on her finger, but it wasn’t his to give; it’s Jason’s.

Robin puts Emma on the phone, as Finn bites the head off of a gingerbread man. Anna tells Emma it seems like yesterday they were going to see Santa, and not to be in a rush to grow up – some people never do. After she hangs up, she tells Finn those cookies are expensive. He asks if she wants to talk about it, and she says no. Did he think she would because she’s a woman, and they’re all talky-feely?  She’s sorry to disappoint. She pulls out some gifts and wrapping paper. She tells him they need to wrap gifts for the children’s home, and take a box of ornaments to the park for the tree. Finn calls her a regular Christmas elf. She knows he’s more the Grinch type, but if they’re going to look authentic, he might as well help, since he’s determined to go undercover. He says he’ll work with her as long as it takes to bust her. Ann says that Christmas cheer is part of the deal.

Julian thanks Scotty, and says now they can move forward with the other project. Scotty says he’s on it. Jordan tells Julian to use his second chance to live a better life, or it will be her pleasure to send him back to Pentonville. Elizabeth asks comes in wanting to talk to Jordan.

Drew tells Alexis he’s not going to forget what he had with Sam, and hand her over to Jason like a baton. Alexis says she was just testing him. She’s on his side. He’s good to and for her daughter, and made a calculated choice to give her and the kids a safer life. That’s why she’s here. They need to tackle the biggest problem first. He and Sam aren’t legally married.

Jason tells Sam the traitor could be in Port Charles. A call Klein made in Russia was traced call back to there. Sam says she’s trying to give back the ring, not talk about Faison. He says Faison is the reason she’s giving It back. He lost five years, and needs to know how everything fits, and if there’s a threat. To do that, he needs his brother’s help.

Elizabeth visits Andre. She needs answers. Jake trusted him, and he broke that trust. She doesn’t know how to explain it to him, but has to tell him that Andre broke the law, and can’t talk to him when he needs it the most. His father isn’t his father’ he’s a stranger. Andrew says it’s confusing. He knows Jake is struggling, and it’s a lot to process, but he has the tools now. He can trust his family and himself. He’s in a good place, and Andre is confident he’ll find a way through with their love and guidance. Elizabeth says he has Franco too, and Andre says, about Franco…

Kiki asks Franco what’s going on with Elizabeth. She knows when he gets twitchy, something is bothering him, and he’s in serious danger of making it worse. He tells Kiki that he didn’t trust to tell Elizabeth something. He’s learning to care and feel, but he’s bad at it. Kiki says the alternative is the old Franco, who had no conscience, and no one to love.

Alexis looks through Drew’s paperwork. He says doing this feels like packing up bits and pieces of his life. She asks if he still wants to leave Jake and Danny in his will. He does, and she asks about Sonny and Carly being guardians if something happens to him and Sam. Drew says his entire existence is invalid. Alexis tells him it’s nothing that can’t be fixed, but they need to discuss everything with Sam. It’s her life too.

Jason explains to Sam that Drew went AWOL three months before he was shot. Drew might have seen the traitor. He doesn’t remember, but maybe the baseline exists. Sam asks if Jason thinks his memories can be given back. He doesn’t know, but he’s like to find out. Sam says even so, it wouldn’t matter. She’s married to Drew; they have a life and family together. Danny is Jason’s son, but he loves Drew. They can’t undo what Faison has done, and she can’t keep the ring, since she can’t keep the promises made with it. She tries to hand it back. He touches her hand, and they give each other soap opera looks.

Finn wraps gifts way better than I do, and Anna too, apparently. She tells him that hers aren’t as compulsively perfect, but her skill set more suited to espionage. He tells her to stop; it’s hard to watch. He takes over making a bow.

Elizabeth tells Andrew that Franco is handling it. She knows he’s not the most forthcoming, and has a tendency to keep dark and damaging things inside, but he’s been through a lot, and she loves him. They’re getting married. She asks if this is where he throws warnings at her, but he says he knows Franco loves her. She brings out the best in him. He congratulates her, and wishes them nothing but happiness

Franco tells Kiki that everyone says to be honest, but everything between him and Elizabeth is perfect; why mess it up? Kiki can’t tell him what to do, but thinks he’s paying a price for staying silent. He says he’s mostly scared to disappoint Elizabeth, and for her to lose faith in him or herself. Kiki says he’s being human, having feelings for people he loves. He tells her it sucks. Aiden wants him to read Pinocchio every night, and he hates it. He’s spent his life being hollow pieces of wood. Kiki wonders if that makes Elizabeth the Blue Fairy. Franco says she’s magic. Kiki says love is a gift, and stop trying to save her.

Julian thanks Scotty for coming through. Scotty says he can’t take all the credit; Julian’s crazy sister helped. As for the other piece of business, once it’s done, it’s done. Scotty wants him to be aware of what he’s signing. Julian says he is, and Scotty tells him to go ahead and sign his life away.

Alexis tells Drew that they’re navigating uncharted waters. They need to resolve the custody issues and the Quartermaine trust settlement. Drew tells her about Oscar, saying it just keeps on coming. He just found out, but had never known. He and Kim knew each other when he was in the Navy. He only knew her a short time, but that was enough. Sam knows, and has been nothing but supportive. Alexis thinks they should table the questions before his head explodes, and they can talk tomorrow. He’s dreading talking to Sam about their marital status, but Alexis tells him to face it head on; he might be pleasantly surprised. Drew appreciates her believing in him. She says he’s good to her daughter, and that works for her. When she gets outside, David calls. She tells him they’re still on for tonight.

Jason won’t take Sam’s ring. He can’t; it’s hers. He understands why she’s not wearing it, but tells her to give it to Danny. He’s their son, and someday, he can give it to the woman he loves. As fast as kids grow up on soaps, that shouldn’t be too long from now.

Anna asks what is it with Finn? He doesn’t dance, he doesn’t do Christmas. She takes a piece of mistletoe out of the box, and they smile at each other.

Alexis sees Julian at dive bar Charlie’s. She asks if he has a tracking device, and he says no, and he was there first. She tells him she’s meeting someone, and doesn’t want to be uncomfortable. She’s glad for his freedom, but doesn’t want drama. If he respects her, he’ll leave; one of them has to. He says it should be her.

Jordan tells Andrew that she wishes things could be different. So does he. The guard cuffs him, and he’s taken away. Before he leaves, Jason asks to speak to him briefly. Jordan wonders if he should have a lawyer present, but Andre says it’s fine. Jason says he took a baseline of the memory map, and asks if it still exists, and if the memories could be returned. Andre says it’s never been done, but in theory, it could. Unfortunately, he destroyed everything before he left. Jason asks if it’s gone, and he says, not quite.

Elizabeth tells Franco that she went to Andre because she needed closure, and for him to understand how difficult it is for Jake. He thinks Jake will be okay, and is in a good place. Andre said he’ll adjust, and she believes him.  She also told him they’re getting married. Franco asks if Andre told her to run for the hills? She says actually he said congratulations and wished them happiness. He told her that she brings out the best in Franco. She didn’t say it, but Franco does the same for her. She kisses him, but then asks, what is it?

Sam goes to the office. She tells Drew she went to the pier to think, and ran into Jason. It was a little intense. She thanked him for clearing up the desertion charges, and they talked about Spinelli. It came up about Spinelli being the one who married them, and she realized she was still wearing the ring Jason gave her. Drew says Jason did give it to her first. She says it was his grandmother Lila’s ring, and he wants her to give to Danny to give to someone he loves someday. Jason hands her his ring, saying Danny should have that too. It belonged to Alan, who was also his father, but he raised Jason. They shouldn’t be wearing rings anyway, since they’re not actually married. Way to drop that bomb.

Julian tells Alexis that he was just about to order. She asks him to surprise her, and do the right thing. He says he’s not leaving. He owns the place. He just bought it.

Finn takes the mistletoe. They get close, but then he pulls away, saying, let’s get going, and puts it back in the box. They gather up the presents, and he asks if she needs help putting them in the car. She says no, and he puts on his jacket. They keep looking at each other. He tells her goodnight, and not to wait up. She says she wouldn’t dream of it. This is going to be like Moonlighting, isn’t it?

Franco tells Elizabeth that Andrew was right. She brings out the best in him, but he hasn’t been his best self lately. He used to be able to lie or keep things to himself and sleep like a baby, but now it actually hurts him. He to tell her something that he should have told her before now.

Jason asks Andre if there’s a copy of the baseline. He says there’s a copy of both memory maps, along with a detailed record of what he did. He put it in a Christmas ornament, and gave it to the only person he trusts, but they don’t’ even know what it is.

Anna takes the box of ornaments to the car. I guess that means it’s her.

Drew tells Sam that they married when he thought his name was Jason Morgan. It isn’t legal, but he meant every word of his vows. He needs to say them again in his own name. So, would she marry him?

On Monday, Elizabeth asks why Franco didn’t give anyone the proof, Jason thinks Drew remembers more than he realizes, and Lulu asks Maxie for a favor.

Once Upon a Time

Jacinda takes Lucy to the hospital.

In Lucy’s parallel life, she’s born into a magic kingdom. Henry wonders where his mother is, and Drizella says she was detained. He wants Drizella to leave, but she has a prophecy to deliver. On Lucy’s eighth birthday, their lives as they know them will end. Hook says not so fast, and Henry tells her to look down. She’s turning into stone, and Lady Tremaine says she can’t have Drizella casting the curse. Drizella says she’ll be back, and they’ll know what true misery is.

Tiana thanks everyone for coming to Lucy’s birthday. Regina lights the candles with a poof! but when Lucy blows them out, it gets dark, and lightening flashes. Gothel pops in next to the now statue of Drizella. She asks if they really thought there would be a celebration. Hooded figures are backing her up, Drizella comes back to life. Regina says the magic can’t be broken. Gothel says not by one, but as a family they can do anything. She tells Drizella the suffering shall begin. They disappear; no poof, no smoke, no nothing.

Back at the hospital, Sabine tells Jacinda that Lucy will be fine. She thinks Jacinda should call Rogers; maybe he can help them figure things out. Victoria watches Anastasia watch TV. Weaver says he didn’t know Lucy would pay the price. Victoria says her daughter isn’t his Guardian. Her magic might save Lucy, but not if she dies. Victoria has no choice but to let him protect her.

In San Francisco, Roni looks at the vial, and asks Henry if everything’s okay. He thinks something’s wrong, but she tells him to focus. They came here for a reason. Spin class? They take their places on the bikes, and Roni tells him to play along and pretend he loves it. Zelena is the instructor, but her name is Kelly here.

In olden days, Henry tells Lucy they stopped her once, and can stop her again. They’re going to fight. She asks if she gets a sword, but that’s a no. Cinderella wonders if they’re doing the right thing. Henry says if Regina can’t stop the curse, it’s the only way to keep her safe; to keep all of them safe.

In the forest, Regina watches some piglets in a pen. An arrow comes thisclose to her, followed by more. She turns around, and tells the archer she’s impressed; she’s getting good. Zelena appears, and says luckily, she has her father’s aim. Regina says Robin is growing up fast, but Zelena says not in their realm.

Because you can never be alone, even in the middle of the woods, Drizella grabs Zelena from behind. Regina tells her to free her sister, and the cloaked figures appear. Zelena says they’re witches, the cult of the eight; the worst of the worst. Regina thinks they should fight witches with witches. Zelena says, let her get her wand.

After spin class, Kelly is surprised to see Roni, who’s interrupted her happy place, and is the epicenter of her unhappiness. Roni says she’s there for a reason. Henry leaves them to talk, and Kelly asks why Roni is there. Roni says they were like sisters, but Kelly sees the bitch who ruined daughter’s life, giving her a ticket to Amsterdam, and telling her only losers get an education. Roni says she’s sorry, but Kelly doesn’t understand the whole story. She asks Kelly to have a drink with her, but Kelly says, never. Henry runs in, saying Lucy is in the hospital. He’s getting on the first plane back. Roni tells him be with his family – help Jacinda

Back in the day, Rumpelstiltskin giggles as he spins. Hook says they need his help. He must have magic to stop the curse. Rumpel says he has a bit, and shows Hook a white elephant figurine. Hook asks if it will stop the curse. Rumpel tells him nothing can stop it, but it can keep his most precious relationship intact. When it happens, it will insure that he will still be a father and she will still be a daughter. Alice hides behind a tree, and Hook asks if that’s who she wants to be. She owes it to him to stay by his side. She gives him a note to give to her mother. He says he’ll deliver it, and do his best to make sure nothing harms any of them.

In Hyperion Heights, Tilly sees Weaver on the street, and asks if he remembers the symbol from the journal. She shows him where someone has painted it like graffiti. He wonders what that’s doing there.

Henry arrives at the hospital. Jacinda cries in his arms.

While waiting for Kelly, Roni puts the contents of the vial in some liquor. She tells Kelly that the anger is all meaningless. She’ll remember they were like sisters. She’s not leaving until Kelly has a real drink with her, and she pours some shots from the bottle in her purse. Why Kelly doesn’t mention how weird this is, I don’t know. Kelly drinks it, and Roni says they’re cursed, doesn’t she remember? They are sisters; the Evil Queen and the Wicked Witch. Suddenly, Kelly remembers everything, and becomes Zelena. She asks what’s going on, and Regina says she teaches peddling. Zelena says she was cursed to be a hippie, and Roni tells her that Gothel is out. They’re in danger, and Zelena has to come with her. Someone has to pay for this. Zelena hesitates, saying she had a life here; it’s not that easy. She unzips a garment bag, revealing a fabulous wedding gown. She’s getting married.

Weaver has a line-up of daggers on a table. He tells Anastasia that he’s performed this test many times, and asks her which one has magic? She picks one up, and says no. The table starts to shake, and the daggers fly into a cupboard door. She thinks it’s in there. I wield no magic whatsoever, and I’d probably think the same thing. Weaver opens the cupboard, and takes out the real dagger. Anastasia doesn’t want its power if it does things like that. He says it can be used to heal and help. Victoria’s little girl needs time to show what she can do.

Zelena tells Regina he’s a good guy. She might be cursed, but he makes her happy. Regina says she can come back after the curse is broken. She doesn’t mean to screw up Zelena’s life. Zelena says she loves her, and knows Regina has to save her family. It’s what she always does. She tells Regina, let’s go.

Jacinda and Henry watch over Lucy. Henry wishes he could do more. Jacinda suggests reading to her, and takes out Once Upon a Time. She tells Henry whenever Lucy looked at his book, it gave her strength. He takes Jacinda’s hand.

In ye olde forest, Henry shows Lucy the oldest part of realm. He points out a tree that has the same magic that brought his mom to Storybrooke. He introduces her to Tiger Lily, who says she found Geppetto’s ax. Henry asks if Lucy remembers the wardrobe. She doesn’t want him to cut the tree down. He tells her if the curse happens, she has to go to a land without magic, and find their people. With the book, she can help them believe. He tells her it’s okay. Just believe in him. He gets to work cutting the tree. It’s so big, it should only take a million years with an ax. Henry hears something, grabs a torch, and runs to a cottage. He tells Lucy wake up; they’ve been found, and it’s time. He’s going to stay behind to give her time to escape. She doesn’t want to go without him, but he says she has to make sure the book stays safe. Something very big is at the door. Henry makes her take the book and run. The something comes in, and it’s shadow encompasses the entire room.

Lucy says witches got her father. Cinderella says what Drizella wants is to distract them from stopping the curse. If they don’t, nothing will matter, not even Henry.

Gothel works some magic. Drizella looks at her notes for the curse. She says she’s waited so many years to cast this curse, and thanks Gothel. Lady Tremaine tells Drizella she finally found a mother figure, but she’s just being used. Drizella says no one controls her. Lady Tremaine is going to think she did it to save Anastasia, when actually it will be in service to her. Then she’s going to rip Anastasia from her arms forever. She tells Lady Tremaine to go to sleep, and she does. Regina asks if she’s still working out her mommy issues. Drizella says the sisters won’t be enough, and Regina says Zelena isn’t the only one she brought. She has Cinderella, Hook, and Jack. Regina says if she wants a witch fight, they’re happy to oblige; she won’t be casting a curse.

Drizella says, no, you will, and tells Gothel to show her. Gothel reveals Henry, who looks like he’s in bad shape. She says they did to him what witches do best – poisoned him. Regina’s magic won’t work, and Drizella says it’s not going to, and the only thing that can change that is a trip to land without magic. Regina tells her don’t do this; a curse takes time and ingredients. Drizella says there are eight, and she has seven. The last one is the most important, and hardest to find – magic from a witch who crushed the heart of one she loves most. Does she choose Drizella’s curse or Henry’s life?

In the land without magic, Weaver tells Anastasia she has it, and it’s the only ay to save a girl. Anastasia says, someone is here; it’s her place. Everything starts to shake. The door blows open, and it’s Gothel. Everyone flips around like the characters in Carrie at the prom. Anastasia runs out of the room.

Drizella finds her and says her mother called her to come and help. She tells Anastasia that these will help dampen the magic, and puts bracelets made of vines on Anastasia’s wrists. Anastasi says the witch is after her, but Drizella says she won’t let anything happen to her, and leads her outside.

In the land with magic, Drizella says there’s nothing Regina can do except cast the curse. Regina says she’ll do it. Zelena says it’s not what she wants, but Hook says she’d do it for Robin; let her go. Regina says, let’s do this, but know one thing, it’s not over. The pattern of a wheel has been dug into the ground. Regna drips blood into it, and it bursts into flames.

Rumpel says, gold in a room in my mind. Alrighty then. He gives Alice a key, and says if it doesn’t work, she knows what to do. Robin sees Alice, and says she got her letter. They kiss. Robin says she wanted to see her one last time. Alice says they’ll always know each other. A storm starts to brew.

Cinderella asks what happens to Lucy? How will she find her, if she doesn’t even know she exists? Hook gives her the elephant, and says she’ll know. The flames leap higher. Everyone watches from their respective spots. Smoke envelops the kingdom.

At the modern-day hospital, Henry reads, every curse can be broken. You just need believe. When he learned that, he knew he could believe in everything to save child’s life. He says he gets it. He would do anything to save Lucy, no matter how crazy. If somewhere he’s her dad, he believes. He kisses her om the forehead, like the illustration in the book, but nothing happens. Jacinda sleeps in a chair in Lucy’s room.

Roni tells Zelena that Henry says Lucy is no better. Zelena suggests true love’s kiss, but Roni says he tried it. Victoria must have stopped Lucy’s belief. Zelena says if it will help, she’ll get her magic back, but there’s only one way to do that. Regina says, break the curse. If they do that, Henry dies. If they don’t, Lucy does.

Anastasia asks where they are, and Drizella says a gathering place for her and her family. Gothel appears, and asks what’s going on. Drizella says she’s sick of living in Anastasia’s shadow. She’s going to steal her magic, like she’s stolen everything from her. Anastasia grabs her hand. Drizella tells her to let go, but she can’t. Drizella asks what happened. Gothel says she didn’t plan to use the vines to give Anastasia’s magic to her, but used them to give Drizella’s magic to Anastasia. She should have listened to her mother. Gothel throws Drizella into a well. Victoria is already there, and says, don’t dare look at me.

Gothel takes Anastasia to a room that holds the witches’ cloaks. Gothel says they’re beautiful. They’re just cloaks right now, and belong to the darkness, but soon they’ll find the women meant to wear them. The sisters of the coven of eight will be joined.

This spring, the battle has just begun, a conflict of dark magic where two families hang in the balance, and the war of the witches. Once Upon a Time is back on Friday, March 2nd, 2018.

👹 It was also Z Nation‘s season finale, as well as a two-parter. I realized there’s no way I could properly edit that and get any sleep at all. It’s so late, it’s possible I’m not even making sense right now. But fear not, I’ll bring the zombies in all their gory to the blog tomorrow, as well as this week’s quotes. The really good news is…

December 14, 2017 – A Fix Against Felicia, Star Finale for Now & Friday

General Hospital

Finn is on the phone trying to get a room. He asks what about room 237? He’s aware of its reputation, but poltergeists would be a step up from his current situation. Nothing is available, so he asks to be at the top of the cancelation list. Anna tells him it’s tough getting a room at this time of year. Lucky he has a generous host.

Valentin meets Cassandra at the MetroCourt. He’s surprised she wants a public meeting. She says she offered to entertain him in her room, but he could also invite her to the island. Valentin tells her that Windemere is off-limits, as well as his family.

Nina catches Lulu wandering around Windemere. Lulu says she was looking for Charlotte’s Christmas list. Nina says she sent Lulu an email, but Lulu says it must have gotten lost in her SPAM folder. Nina says good thing she was home, or Lulu would have had to break in. Nina leaves to look for the list, and Lulu roots through some piles of construction paper. Because the best hiding place is among craft supplies.

Kim looks at a family photo at the Quartermaine mansion. Monica tells her that Jason had just started college in that picture. He was going to be a doctor, but there was an accident. He dropped out of school, and moved out. They basically lost him. Kim asks if it stayed that way, and Monica says it was a long, slow process. They continued to love him, and she thinks he eventually loved them back. A few years ago, they had a renaissance of sorts. He was approachable, easier, and warmer, and she should have known then that he wasn’t Jason.

Oscar tells Drew his mom is at work, but Drew was hoping to see him. He asks if Oscar feels like talking, but Oscar says his mom would be pissed if he let a stranger in. Ouch. Drew says he’s not really a stranger, is he?

Jason tells Sam not to walk away; talk to him. She asks what he wants to know. He asks how Drew is doing; he knows the Navy dropped the charges. Sam says there’s still a review coming, but Commander Fuller told them it’s just a formality. Drew was exonerated because of him.

Laura stares at Valentin, and Doc asks if she wants to leave. She says no, but it doesn’t get easier. She tells him that Lulu keeps asking about a wedding date.

Lulu finds another ballot voting for Felicia in Charlotte’s scrap paper. She wonders why it’s there, and what’s going on? Nina comes in, and says she was wondering the same thing. She asks if Lulu is looking for these, and dumps out a bag of ballots.

Anna gives Finn a room with his own bath, and he asks if there are bars on the windows. She tells him that Roxie is relaxing in her terrarium, and everything is all made up; there’s even a great mud mask in the bathroom. He says she’s enjoying this, but she says she’s more accustomed to her bachelor life, as she hurriedly puts a coaster under his cup. She tells him that he has another option – bow out and leave Cassandra to her.

Sam gets annoyed that Jason doesn’t want any thanks, and he asks why she’s getting mad. She says it wasn’t fair to ask him to get involved, but she knew he’d come through. When they were at the station, she knew how much Drew was hurting, but didn’t pay attention to him, and how everything had been taken away. He tells her it’s okay, but she says, no, it’s not. She doesn’t know what else to do. She loves Drew; she married him. Jason says he knows.

Oscar says he guesses Drew found out he’s his son. Drew apologizes, saying he should have reached out first before just showing up. Oscar invites him in, saying sorry about the stranger thing. Drew tells him not to worry; that’s how people look at him now, and he feels like one. Oscar explains that he’s home because he skipped gym; they’re doing square dancing, and he’s a disaster. Drew says he has two left feet too. True story. My fifth-grade teacher was a professional square dance caller. We were her experiments.

Monica asks Kim to sit down, and thanks her for coming. Kim says she couldn’t decline an invite from her boss, but Monica says the relationship goes further than that. About an hour ago, she found out Kim’s son is her grandson. Kim says she believes he’s a descendant of Alan’s, but not her. Monica says she did her homework. Kim says it’s hit as hard and fast as it has with her. Monica says she doesn’t think it’s an accident that Kim and Oscar ended up where Oscar’s very wealthy family resides. Kim gets up, saying she wouldn’t want her boss to think she was shirking her duty. Monica tells her that she took the liberty of canceling the rest of Kim’s appointments for the day. Kim says they were doing fine on their own. She wanted to give Oscar a chance to know something about his roots. She got a good DNA sample, and followed up on an ancestry website, which got a lot of hits in Port Charles. Monica asks, enough for her to pull up the roots they had, and Kim admits she thought Drew might be there. She knew he’d gone AWOL, and thought maybe… Monica finishes, on the off-chance Oscar might bump into his missing father? Kim says Oscar is old enough to decide. She wanted to give him a chance, but had no idea Drew had a long-lost brother or ties to the Quartermaines. Monica says smart move, putting the information out there, so they would come to her. Kim tells her not to worry about her fortune. She and Oscar will have none of it – or her.

Drew says he knew something was up when Oscar and Josslyn dropped by, and tells him good detective work. He asks how long Oscar was looking, and Oscar says that Josslyn helped, but it took a couple of months. Drew says he didn’t know he had son’ there’s a lot he doesn’t know about his life. Oscar says it’s rough, finding out you have a whole other life. Drew says if anyone has a notion of how he feels, it would be Oscar.

Sam asks Jason if Sonny is okay. Jason tells her they got a lead on Faison. He was in Port Charles. They missed him, but were able to question his daughter. She told them that Faison didn’t even know he was alive until the story about the skylight broke. Sam thought it was Faison who sent him to the clinic, but Jason tells her that Britt said after the procedure, he was supposed to be killed. Faison was double-crossed by someone he calls the traitor. Whoever they are, they’re the reason he’s still alive.

Lulu and Nina look through the ballots. They’re almost all for Felicia. Lulu asks if Nina remembers the battle between Lomax and Felicia, but she says she wasn’t following local politics at the time. Lulu says this is big. Nina thinks it’s bizarre, but who cares? Lulu tells her the race was so close, there was a recount. If these are authentic, it’s hard evidence of tampering. Someone stole the election from Felicia.

Cassandra says she found a man who can complete her product, so they can progress. Valentin says he knows about Finn; he saw her out with him. She’s sorry that cynical, dangerous Valentin has mired himself in domesticity. She tells him when Finn joins with them, she’ll supervise from afar. He asks what if Finn doesn’t want to, and if she’ll extort him too.

Anna tells Finn it’s not too late. One call from her, and the WSB will make sure he gets a room. He says his tax dollars at work. He tells her he can get on the inside of the operation, and now she wants to turn him down. She says it has to be that way, and he asks, since when? She says since she cares about him.

Kim tells Monica it isn’t too late for her to stay out of the family drama. Monica apologizes for coming on too strong. Kim accepts, saying Oscar has the right to know them. Monica asks about Drew. She says she and Alan raised Jason together, but they never knew Drew existed. She’d like to know about the boy they lost.

Jason tells Sam that he keeps going over it. The call from Bernie, and how it was a setup, staged to cover his disappearance. He wonders what the point is. What would Faison get out of putting someone else in his place? The worst thing about it was that Bernie died for no reason. Faison knew he’d show up. Sam says yes, Bernie was a loss, but there were other losses that night.

Laura and Doc kick around dates. She asks why not elope? It’s not the first marriage for either one of them. Doc tells her to hold that thought. He shows her his phone, and says here’s a possibility. She says he can’t be serious. He tells her if they can’t find a date in 2018, why not 2017? She says, Christmas? He says, why not?

Lulu says she’s taking the ballots; they belong to the city. Nina asks if she’s really doing her civic duty, and Lulu says eventually. Nina wonders if Lulu thinks she’s Bob Woodward, and Lulu asks if she’s afraid Valentin stole the election.

Finn is surprised Anna cares about him, and she amends it to she cares about his safety. He says she had no concern before, but she tells him she was in charge, and planned to take the reins. She says he should stick to medicine, and he says he tried; she wouldn’t let him. Anna says he’s a valuable asset to the hospital, and an honorable man. She didn’t take that into consideration when she dragged him in. She asks that he let her redeem herself and cut him loose. She tells him to call Cassandra, and decline the offer.

Cassandra tells Valentin that with some financial incentive and ego stroking, she has every confidence in Finn’s cooperation. She says Valentin is a special snowflake, and not everyone needs motivation. He wants to talk to Claudette. Cassandra tells him to do his job, and she promises Claudette won’t tell the world why they think she’s dead. Her phone rings, and she tells Valentin that she needs his undying commitment. He says it’s understood, and leaves. She answers the phone, and tells Finn that she was just singing his praises, and asks if they’re going to partner up. He looks at Anna.

Lulu asks why Nina is flustered. Nina says Valentin didn’t even live there then, but her brother did. In fact, they found the ballots when her brother was still king of the castle. An investigation might take her places she doesn’t want to go. Lulu takes ballots and leaves.

Finn tells Cassandra that he’s given it a lot of thought, and he’s taking her up on it. They can do great things together. She couldn’t agree more, and tells him the next step is for him to review her chemist’s work. He tells her when he makes a commitment, he sticks by it. He doesn’t cut and run, no matter what. He gives Anna another look.

Kim tells Monica that she and Drew were only involved for three months. He grew up in an orphanage, but he was a Navy SEAL, the best of the best. He’s not the type to brag, but it meant everything to him, the brotherhood and the comradery. Monica says he has a real brother and family now. So does Oscar.  Kim says, a larger than life family. Monica admits the Quartermaines are a force unto themselves. They love each other fiercely, and welcome Oscar with open arms. Kim says Oscar has to decide what’s right for him, and Monica asks her to give him a message that he’s always welcome, no matter what he decides. And if he decides to learn about his family, she’ll be happy to be his tutor.

Drew doesn’t expect anything from Oscar; no pressure. He’s managed this far without him. Oscar guesses it’s late to have father, especially one who already has a kid. He and his mother did okay; she’s awesome. Drew says she clearly raised a great young man. Oscar tells Drew that he said himself that he knows nothing. Drew tells him what he’s trying to say is, he hopes Oscar gives him chance to find out.

Sam tells Jason the night he was shot, they searched, but the divers couldn’t find him. She didn’t believe them, and went in herself, but only found the phoenix figurine he’d given her for Christmas. Jason says Faison must have had people waiting. Sam says the story seemed off, and didn’t add up. She questioned Faison, and there were no answers, but she knew in her heart. Her instincts said he was still alive. She would come there at night and stare out on the water. She thinks part of her was waiting for him. She thought he came back; she thought his brother was him, but that doesn’t change anything. Even knowing he’s not Jason, she could never regret loving him. Jason sighs.

Valentin comes home, and Nina asks if tampered with the 2014 mayoral election. He has no idea what she’s talking about. Nina says never mind. Lulu implied that he was in on a shady deal. He tells her that she knows all about his shady deals. Can they start again? They kiss. She says she smells Enchantment, and he was with Cassandra.

Anna tells Finn there’s a spare blanket in the closet. He asks if she’s sulking, but she says she’s furious he can’t see reason. He says, right. He’s going to be able to give Cassandra everything she needs. Anna says unless he gets taken out first. Finn says good thing she’s looking after him. Now it’s her turn to say he’s enjoying this, and tells him that she guesses it’s better than him being alone, wallowing in his own misery.

Jason tells Sam about the manuscript, and that Britt said Faison didn’t write it. It just showed up, and shook him like nothing she’d ever seen. He tried to burn it, but the found it still intact, and Spinelli is analyzing it. Sam says it’s great to have tech genius as a friend. Yes. It is. He came through for Drew too, producing the service record. She didn’t think Drew would accept the truth unless it came from Spinelli. Jason says Diane deserves credit for calling him. Sam asks why Jason didn’t, and Jason says Spinelli is her friend too, and he didn’t want to put him in the middle.

Drew tells Oscar that he’s suggesting they play catch; he’s not a little kid, and has his own life. He’ll back away if Oscar wants. Oscar says it’s not like he was sitting around waiting for a  knock on the door. They each have their own life. Drew says that’s not what he meant, but Kim walks in. She asks what he’s doing there, and what’s going on? Drew says they’re trying to get to know each other. Oscar uses homework as an excuse to leave the room. Kim asks what Drew did, and he says nothing.

Oscar comes out, and Kim tells him Drew left. He didn’t want to interrupt Oscar’s studying. Oscar doesn’t want to talk about him, and Kim says he doesn’t have to. She tells him that she saw his grandmother Monica, and there’s a house full of people who can’t wait to meet him, but she said it was up to him. Kim tells him not to be hard on himself. It’s new to everyone; Drew is nervous too. Oscar blows her off.

Sam tells Jason that she should thank Spinelli. He’s probably a mess, blaming himself, thinking it’s his fault. Jason says she should have seen him trying to explain marrying them. Spinelli thinks he betrayed him, even though he couldn’t have known. They have to keep telling him they’re still his friends, and it’s not his fault. Sam realizes that her wedding ring is the one Jason gave her.

Lulu joins Doc and Laura, and Doc tells her they’ve set a wedding date. Laura says it’s on Christmas, but doesn’t want to infringe on time with the kids. Lulu says their main goal is keeping them from getting up before six, so as long as it’s not at eight am, it’s fine. Laura says it will be her first Christmas with Charlotte. Lulu says what better way to celebrate family than welcoming Doc into theirs, and offers to help. Laura asks what’s bothering her, and Lulu tells her that she can’t say much, but she has a major story that could reset the paradigm in Port Charles. Laura asks if it’s good news, but Lulu isn’t sure if she should report it.

Valentin tells Nina it was just business; nothing untoward. She says everything about Cassandra is untoward. He says it won’t be much longer before she’s out of their lives for good.

Anna says she dragged Finn out of his self-indulgence and melancholy. He says he was plenty fulfilled before she came along. She says living alone in a hotel room with lizard? He tells her Roxie is a better friend than most people. She says she dreads his performances as her boyfriend, no, lover, with his relentless sarcasm. He accuses her of being an elitist with ice water in her veins. He’s the only thing stopping her from sitting around in a bathrobe and getting a cat. She’s like, oh! the cat card, is it? She tells him plenty of men would jump at the chance to be with her. He tells her to show him one, and she says he’s right in front of her. He says she thinks he wants to be with her? She asks, doesn’t he? He grabs her, and kisses her.

Tomorrow, Scotty tells Julian to sign his life away, Kiki asks Franco what’s wrong, and Alexis tells Drew that he’s not legally married to Sam.

🎤 🌟 On Star, there was a lot of bouncing and voguing in the beauty shop – until the cops showed up, shutting them down for illegal cosmetic procedures. Miss Lawrence admitted to Carlotta that he was giving illegal butt shots to boost the economy, as well as butts. Sadly (for me, anyway), Carlotta had to fire him. I’m hoping there’s a reconciliation in the future, as Miss Lawrence is one of my favorites on the show. Simone ran to the roof after blowing the showcase because she took the pills Ayanna gave her “wrong.” Star talked her down, and told her that Ayanna is crazy, and she needs to get away from her. Ayanna’s father left her high and dry when he found out she’d been more than consorting with his enemies. He informed her that she no longer had a record label, and he no longer had a daughter. After finding out what had been going on with Simone, Star threatened Ayanna, going to her office with a gun. Ayanna said Star didn’t have the guts, and while those are usually famous last words, Carlotta interrupted, delicious side curls cascading to her shoulder. She told Star it wasn’t worth losing everything she’d worked for, and she’d only be doing Ayanna a favor. Star left the gun in case Ayanna wanted to follow up on it herself. Alex promised Derek that the Noah stuff was over after the showcase. When Noah made the moves on her after their performance, she cracked him one, but then they got busy. And no surprise, Derek wheeled in mid-business. Elliot died, and Omari told Cotton he was going to take people away from her until she gives him what he wants. She’s not living without him – literally. She told him everyone was right about him from the jump, and to do what he’s gotta do; there’s nothing left for her. Later that night, when she was in the bathtub, Omari was waiting for his moment, and drowned her. Maybe. I’m not positive she’s really dead. Carlotta’s house/beauty shop went up in flames, and Simone ran in to save Karen. At the end, all we knew was that it was arson, and someone is dead, but yay! Star will be back in the spring.

General Hospital

Here’s my excuse for missing the very beginning. I’d read there was going to be a press conference at 3 pm, which was no surprise since interrupting GH is de rigueur for Washington DC. I usually feed my dogs what I like to call luncheon just before the show, and took my sweet time, especially with my little old girl, who doesn’t see as well as she used to and sometimes needs help. The joke was on me. There was no conference. Not televised anyway. Luckily, I didn’t miss much.

Ava and Julian go to Kelly’s. Ava says the last time she was at the MetroCourt, she got a dressing down of epic proportions. If it was just Sonny and Carly, she could handle it, but stares follow her everywhere. Julian asks if a doctor can finish what was started, but she says not legally, and the ones who will risk it aren’t exactly the cream of the crop. Julian suggests investigating further, but she says it’s not worth it. Griff made her see reason, and he’s the one who has to look at her. He accepts her, and her life – most of it anyway. Julian says, just not her brother.

Monica tells Ned that both Jason and Drew love Sam and the children. They’ll find a way to co-exist. Ned thinks he hears the sound of Tracy, cackling from across the ocean. He’d like nothing more than for them to get along, but he’d also like turkey on Thanksgiving; some things are not meant to be. He says the Quartermaines are a study in conflict, and it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Monica thanks him for the pep talk. She leaves to answer the door, and Olivia-Q asks Ned if it would kill him to be supportive.

It’s Sam at the door. She was surprised Monica wasn’t at the hospital, and Monica says she’s taken a mental health day. She can’t imagine how difficult this whole thing is for Sam. Sam says she’s fine. The person she’s worried about is Drew.

Jason is trying to figure out what got him and Drew to this point. He tells Drew he has a lead on the backer. It’s Caesar Faison, who shot him. He checked the police files, and they had divers in the water within fifteen minutes of the shooting, yet there was no sign of him. Someone picked him up, and whoever did it, probably has the resources to take a Navy SEAL without a trace. Drew wonders what he would get out of it. Jason doesn’t know, but he has Spinelli working on it, and found out Faison was in Port Charles yesterday.

Kim is ready to really talk if Oscar wants to. Oscar tries to blow her off, saying it’s fine, and they can talk later. She tells him that she should have been straight from the beginning, and he asks, why wasn’t she?

Nelle, Sonny, Carly, and Michael sit down to discuss the impending birth, with Nelle ordering food like she’s having quintuplets. She tells Michael he’s being so formal. They’re not talking about a money transfer; it’s a baby. Michael says he’ll cover all medical expenses, if it’s proven to be his, and the bills can be sent to his office. Then they can hash out a fair custody agreement post birth. Nelle remarks that he only seems to be taking care of his child, so, no deal.

Olivia asks Ned if she doesn’t get to have opinions. He says he loves her opinions; it’s one of the reasons he married her, but she’s not seeing the big picture.

Sam tells Monica that Drew could use her. No guilt trip, but he doesn’t have a lot of people in his corner. Monica says she’ll get in touch with him today, but wishes she could do more than just listen. Sam says that’s enough. Monica asks how Sam is, adding that Drew isn’t the only one who had the rug pulled out from under her. Sam says it’s a lot. Every time they think they have a handle on it, another shoe drops. She says she doesn’t know if it’s her place to tell Monica, but in finding out Drew had a life before Port Charles, they found out he has a son. Monica has another grandchild.

Kim doesn’t know where to start, and Oscar suggests where they met. She tells him it was in San Diego, where she was going her internship. His father was stationed there, and they knew he was going to be deployed. She also didn’t know where her residency would take her, so they agreed when the time came to say goodbye, they would leave it at that. Oscar asks if she loved him, and she says given time, she thinks she could have. By the time she found out she was pregnant, he was already overseas. She had no way to contact him, since his whereabouts were a secret. Oscar was born, and she felt their family was complete. There was never going to be a dad in the picture, so she thought there was no need to talk about him. She was kind of relieved Drew didn’t know. Oscar asks why, and she says because they were a team; Kim and Oscar against the world. She didn’t want that to change, but knows now that it has to.

Drew asks what Faison was doing in Port Charles, and Jason says traveling with his daughter. Britt got tired of running, and stayed behind. She told him that her father has no interest in going after Sam and the kids, and he figures she has no reason to lie. What good would it do her? Faison could also care less about Jason and his family. He thought Jason was dead. Apparently, he was supposed to be killed after the switch took place, but Faison was double-crossed. Drew doesn’t see how this affects him and his family.

Nelle says Michael is committing to the child, but not her. How is she supposed to take care of the baby properly? Carly says it’s called a job, but Nelle says she tried that, but thanks to Carly and her friends, it hasn’t worked out very well. She asks if she’s supposed to live in a hovel, and Michael says he won’t sell the apartment. She says it’s going to be stress on her body and the baby all day, and she’s already down one kidney. Michael says having a baby should be safe for her, and plenty of women work while pregnant. She says not the ones carrying his child. If he refuses to make her life easier, he’ll regret it. He can be involved, but it will be from a distance. Michael asks if she’ll be leaving town, and she says faster than you can say “child abandonment.”

Michael says she can’t keep him away, and Nelle says she didn’t say she would. Port Charles has been less than hospitable, and her prospects are dwindling. Don’t get her started about the winters. She might want to try her luck somewhere else. Michael asks what she wants, and she tells him to make an offer. Sonny says there’s nowhere he can’t find her, and she asks what he’s going to do? Keep her prisoner? He tells her she doesn’t want to find out. Sonny needs to watch it, or he’s going to get the reputation of being some kind of tyrant when it comes to the babies in his family.

Ava tells Julian that Griff didn’t give her an ultimatum. He can’t have a relationship with Julian, but he’d never tell her that she couldn’t. She can thread this needle, she just has to keep things separate. Julian says she shouldn’t have to play referee. She tells him to sit back and calm down. He’s her brother, and families stick together.

Sam tells Monica that Drew’s son is Oscar Nero. Monica says she just hired a Nero, and Sam says that’s Oscar’s mother. Josslyn and Oscar made the connection. She thinks they’re dating, and Monica thinks that should keep it interesting. Monica asks if Drew and Oscar have met, and Sam says briefly, but it was before they knew. Monica says two new additions to the family within a week. Sam says it must feel like a miracle, and Monica asks how it feels to her?

Kim tells Oscar it might be good to have a man in his life at this point, and he has the right to know his father. He doesn’t know what to think, and she tells him that it’s his decision. She’ll support him no matter what. He asks what if it’s a mistake, and she says they’ll deal with it together. From what she knew back in the day, and heard since she’s been here, he seems like a good guy; very open to getting to know him and being in his life.

Jason believes Britt is telling the truth. Whatever Faison was doing was blown to hell, and he’s running. Drew says that’s not enough; he needs to be stopped. Jason tells him that Spinelli is trying to find out more information. Jason does think there’s someone who might know what happened – Drew. They had him for three months before they got Jason. He might know more than he realizes. Drew says thanks to Andre, all of his memories are Jason’s.

Ned tells Olivia his issue isn’t Jason’s return, but what it means to ELQ. Olivia doesn’t give a damn, but cares about Michael. Ned say they haven’t always agreed on how to run things, but until now, the playing field was level. Now that went out the window. Olivia says it’s wonderful for the Quartermaines, but not so much for ELQ.

Nelle tells Sonny that he doesn’t scare her. He says she’s either bluffing or stupid; probably both. Michael suggest they work this out. Nelle says they might not like the terms, but she doesn’t care. It’s her body and her baby, and the decision is up to her. If Michael wants to be a father, he has to do better. She says she’s lost her appetite, and gets up. Michael asks her to wait, but she says she can’t. After she leaves, Carly tells him not to give in. Michael tells her to let him do it his way for the baby’s sake.

Oscar tells Kim that he’d be lying if he said he didn’t think about what having father would be like. He’s thought it would be cool; someone to hang with, and talk about stuff. Not that he can’t talk to her. She tells him not to feel guilty. He says for all he knows, it could suck. Drew might not want to be dad. She reminds Oscar that Drew has a daughter, but he says maybe he doesn’t want a teenage son. Kim says she’d be surprised, but the decision is up to him. She thinks he should give it a try. Oscar is worried that they won’t like the same things, or Drew might not like him.

Jason tells Drew if the mapping project was perfect, Drew would be just like him, but he made different choices. That could mean he’s still in there somewhere. Drew says it’s possible, but they have no way of accessing his memories. He tells Jason that it’s not like he hasn’t thought about him, or has no sympathy, but when he showed up, everything Drew believed, felt, and knew was true, was stripped from him. In return, the only thing he got was a service record.

Sam tells Monica she hadn’t thought about herself. She’s been focused on Drew, and will be happy if they can work it out. She doesn’t know how to deal with a teenage boy, but she’s had experience with the girls in the family. Monica says that not once has she uttered the word “Jason.” Sam says she came to talk about Drew; he’s her husband, and she loves him. Monica says he also has another family, including a son. Is she wondering if he goes back, will it give her the freedom to be with Jason?

Julian decides to change the subject, and asks Ava when she last saw Avery? Ava says it’s been a long time, but nothing is ever hopeless. She has to wait for an opportunity, and seize it when she it comes along. Julian has to meet with Scotty, and Ava says to tell him to step up his game. Julian says he’s been surprisingly competent, and she hopes that trend continues. Julian leaves, and Ava sees Nelle at the counter. She says hello, and tells Nelle she looks really good. Nelle says she’s probably noticing her glow. They’re about to be related, in a way. Avery is going to be an aunt.

Michael says he doesn’t care any more about Nelle than Sonny does about Ava. Nelle thinks she hit the jackpot. He can’t let her do that, but he doesn’t want what happened to Avery happen with his baby. He doesn’t want a tug-of-war legal battle. There has to be a better way, and  he’ll find it prior to the child being born, since Nelle won’t.

Kim thinks the possibility of Drew not liking Oscar is slim. Oscar is smart, interesting, kind, and compassionate. What’s not to like? Oscar says they seems so different, but Kim tells him to name a family that’s made up of carbon copies. Maybe Drew is a guy’s guy, and likes football and hanging out in a man cave. Maybe he’s never heard Mozart, but that doesn’t mean he can’t appreciate it, or Oscar. All they need to have in common is to be good people. Oscar says he’s going to go for it. What does he have to lose? Kim says whatever happens, she has him.

Drew tells Jason that he stared at the service jacket for days, but noting. He can’t remember a name, face, sound or smell. He can’t think of anything, even why he served. What makes Jason think he can pull out something out about Faison? Jason tells Drew that he has brain damage. The first twenty years of his life is gone, and he’s never getting it back. Drew’s memories are just buried. Maybe he can still find them. Drew thinks it would be easier if he could flip a switch, but even if he could, is that really his life anymore? Jason understands, and thanks Drew for his time. Drew tells him that if he gets a lead and wants help, he wants Jason to know that he will.

Sam tells Monica everyone’s making it a bigger deal than it is. Drew and Kim barely knew each other. They had a son; it’s not like they had a family, like with her and Jason. Sam says she can’t say Jason’s name, let alone be around him. The memories come back, and she doesn’t know what to do with that. Monica asks if her feelings toward Drew have changed, and she says no. He’s her husband and she loves him. They’ve built a life together, but how is she supposed to go on? Monica thinks eventually things will come to a head.

Monica comes back to the living room, and Ned asks who was at the door. Monica tells him it was Sam. Olivia asks how she’s doing, and Monica says, overwhelmed. Michael comes in and says he has news. Ned asks if it’s sit down news, or popping champagne news? Michael says that depends. He’s going to be a father.

Carly says it’s all well and good, but at the end of the day, Nelle is having a baby, and she doesn’t trust her. Sonny doesn’t like it, but Michael said he can handle it. He adds, unless it becomes necessary for him to step in. He tells Carly she can’t overreact. If he takes action, everything will change.

Ava congratulates Nelle, and asks if there will be wedding bells. Nelle says, no; that’s not likely. They’re not in the best place. The only worse place is with his parents. Ava says, oh, the wrath of Sonny and Carly – her condolences. Nelle says she has to prepare herself for going forward; it could be just her and the baby; no family or friends. Ava says not as long as she’s around, and suggests they talk.

Monica tells Michael it complicates things, but it’s wonderful news. Olivia says she’ll have another baby to spoil, and Ned says that Cousin Leo can push him around. Monica says they have yet another addition, and Ned asks if there’s another Jason. Monica and I both go, ha-ha! She says apparently, Drew has a son, Oscar. Michael asks if she means Josslyn’s boyfriend, and she says she does. The family is growing by leaps and bounds.

Kim has to get to work. She tells Oscar that she’s sorry for not telling him the truth, and that he had to find out on his own. When she gets out in the hallway, her phone rings. She tells the caller that she has appointments, but understands. She’ll see them shortly. I’m hoping she’s not in on a scam of some kind.

Sam stands around on the docks. No surprise, Jason shows up. He approaches her. The look at each other with soap opera stares.

Drew goes to see Oscar.

Jason asks Sam not to walk away. Talk to him.

Tomorrow, Anna tells Finn to decline Cassandra’s offer; Valentin tells Cassandra that Windemere is off-limits, and Kim wants nothing to do with Monica.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey

Melissa gets ready to go to Milan. She tells Joe #2 she’s going for business, but hopes that the change of scenery helps the girls mend fences. Since Italy is for lovers, she wishes he was coming.

Margaret says, the higher the heel, the better you feel. She tells her staff that the fashion show got ugly, and she wants it to blow over. No international incidents.

Siggy begs Michael for help with packing. She wants to spend one-on-one time with Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores. She wants to call Margaret out on her Hitler reference. She’s like a broken record. She fixates on something and it never goes away. Now that I think about it, that seems to be a Housewives trademark. Siggy says Italy isn’t the place to bring up this huge elephant though, insuring that she will.

Teresa says it’s bittersweet, since the last time she was in Italy was with the whole family. Her father says he’s charging her three hundred bucks a night for staying with the kids. I’m pretty certain he’s kidding, but I wouldn’t blame him.

Dolores is excited. She doesn’t know where they all stand, but it’s still nice to go with them. Wow. Desperate.

We’re already in Milan. Fastest. Airplane ride. Ever. Melissa has visions of handsome men tossing prosciutto into their mouths as they walk by. Melissa and Margaret have a meeting to go to, and the rest plan their day. Melissa and Margaret have the presidential suite, and Melissa has them draw for the other rooms, which are just as grand. Everything is huge and very Italian. Margaret and Melissa head for a showroom. Dolores just wants pasta. She and Siggy go shopping, while Teresa and Danielle decide to go to a restaurant.

Danielle tells Teresa that she modeled there when she was younger. Teresa tells her she was pregnant with Milania when she was there last time. She brought her mother’s rosary beads to bring her along. Teresa misses her, but feels like her mother is right beside her. They sightsee a little, and go for a drink. They toast to Teresa’s dad, and Teresa tries to drink through the stirrer. Danielle wants to get along with everyone, but feels like there’s an elephant in the room. She says Dolores thinks she hasn’t done anything wrong. Teresa says Dolores told her that she went off on Kim D., but Danielle finds it hard to believe, since it didn’t happen when they were there.

Dolores thinks Danielle is deceptive, and Siggy thinks Margaret goes out of her way to be offensive, making it hard for her to enjoy Italy. Dolores says Margaret owes her an apology.

Melissa and Margaret discuss Dolores getting in Melissa’s face at the fashion show. Melissa tells Margaret either Dolores dismisses her completely, or an explosion happens. In her interview, Melissa suggests the trip is like a ticking time bomb, and she’s dreading it.

The showroom has a giant unicorn in the middle of it. Melissa tells the designer (?) she likes classy, but sexy, and is shown some merchandise. In her interview, she talks about having to rebuild the store from nothing, after splitting with her partner. We flash back to the place emptied out. She admits to buying more stuff for her closet than the store, but says store is her closet. Melissa says, one for me, one for the store.

Margaret pops some champagne, and it goes everywhere. Danielle comes by, and Teresa tells Melissa about seeing the cathedral. Danielle talks to Margaret about the elephant. Teresa thought she and Siggy made up, but Danielle is right. Siggy should have stuck up for her in front of her. Melissa says she hates bringing stuff up. Margaret says things could get heated.

The ladies gather for dinner. Dolores says the pit in her stomach isn’t there, but you never know. On the way to the restaurant, they discuss being hangry, a condition from which I suffer, and is now recognized by spellcheck. They have a semi-private table, with a preset menu. Since we’re five, the girls play with the candle wax from the table candles. The drinks arrive. Dolores says she might get drunk. Danielle explains how to give a man a rainbow. If you don’t know what that is, google it. I’m not explaining.

Joe #1 emails Teresa, jokingly calling her cheater. Siggy doesn’t find it funny, and decides to bring up the elephant. What did I say? In her interview, Melissa says, told you – tick, tick, tick, boom! Siggy insists she defended Teresa 100%. Danielle says they didn’t see it, so who knows? Melissa says Kim D. was screaming and yelling at Teresa, and all she did was ask them if they were still walking in the show. Then she does a spot-on impression of Dolores getting an inch from her face, and says that’s what she got. Dolores says she felt bad when it was over. In her interview, Melissa says she was shamed like she was in grade school, and doesn’t know what kind of friendship Dolores is used to, but she doesn’t roll with that. Dolores says she and Teresa went against them with Margaret and Danielle, proving Melissa’s point that this is grade schoolish. Siggy says the argument Margaret used Hitler as a comparison wasn’t appropriate, and asks for a show of hands. All she gets is several women trying to explain what an analogy is. In her interview, Margaret says, deflect much? Kim D.’s only goal in life is to destroy Teresa and Melissa. How is she supposed to make an analogy about evil without using someone who is? Margaret tells Siggy that her husband and kids are Jewish. Siggy says she knows plenty of people who have married Jewish people who hate Jews. What?! Margaret says this is bullsh*t, and Siggy calls her anti-Semitic. After a beat of dead silence, it starts to get loud, and quickly escalates to stupid and nasty.

Siggy says, tell the bitch to sit down, referring either to Margaret or Danielle. In her interview, Margaret says Siggy doesn’t want the focus on her, because she doesn’t want to take responsibility for her actions. Siggy gets up, saying she’s not listening to Danielle. She’s known Teresa for ten seconds, and she doesn’t need Margaret or Danielle to understand her. She tells Danielle to stay out of it, calling her disgusting and a bitch. Danielle calls Siggy a bitch, a hypocrite, and a liar, and starts throwing things around. In her interview, Teresa says she called Danielle a “prostitution whore,” and flipped a table on her, but she’s never seen her this mad. Danielle and Teresa start to leave, and Siggy yells, go to jail! and, act like a lady! Melissa tells her to stop her mouth. On her way out, Margaret says they should go back to the United States. In her interview, Margaret says they’re constantly attacking her and Danielle, and not sticking up for Teresa and Melissa. Outside, Dolores tells Siggy to calm down and take a walk with her.

Margaret says Siggy knows she’s not anti-Semitic, and when she’s insecure, she resorts to name calling and taking potshots. Siggy says Teresa and Melissa not standing up for her about Margaret’s Hitler statement is beyond shocking. In her interview, Margaret says there’s nothing more vile than character assassination. She tells Teresa that their spat has turned into and all out war, and it’s going to have an epic ending.

Margaret, Teresa, and Danielle meet in the morning. Margaret says she was on the phone with Joe #3 all night. She’d thought they were fine, and should have listened to Danielle. Melissa joins. Danielle says that Siggy goes for the jugular with Margaret. In her interview, Danielle says that when Siggy dismissed her, it was a trigger for her. We flash back to some other times Danielle was triggered. She tells them that Siggy is always bragging about what a good friend she is to them; she must have missed something.

Dolores visits Siggy, who’s had no sleep. She doesn’t understand why Margaret wouldn’t admit that her remark was in poor taste. She knows Margaret isn’t anti-Semitic, but she’s ignorant.

Melissa tells the ladies that she’s booked a canal tour. Danielle has decided to lay low for the day and regroup. Melissa says Siggy isn’t coming, but Dolores is, and Danielle is like, omg, they’re separating?

Dolores tells Siggy that she’s going on the tour. Melissa comes by to tell Dolores it’s time to get ready. She asks Siggy how she’s doing, and Siggy is upset about last night. Melissa suggests she talk to Danielle. Siggy says she wasn’t dismissing her. She was mad at Margaret, and took it out on her. Siggy calls Danielle, telling her she wants to talk and clear the air. Danielle agrees to meet.

In the limo, Margaret says the need a mellow day. Teresa suggests a restaurant with separate rooms. Margaret says it’s too bad it has to be this way. Dolores has made a pact to stop, and apologizes. In her interview, she still doesn’t think it was wrong to walk in the fashion show, but doesn’t want to talk to her friends that way. She makes it clear that she doesn’t feel badly about Danielle though; she provokes.

Joes #2 and #3, meet with Frank, and Danielle’s boyfriend, Marty. They talk about their kids, and Joe #2 is at a loss about his daughter, since the boys will be after her. Marty thinks as long as she knows his concern, he just has to hope for the best. Joe #3 talks about his daughter sneaking out. Frank says trust her, but not the guys. Joe #2 says never mind their daughters, their women got kicked out of a restaurant in Italy. Frank doesn’t think it would be too funny if they got a call from jail.

The guide tells the girls stuff about the canal. Melissa addresses someone in half Italian, half Spanish. The ladies remark on how cute the guides are, and take pictures on a bridge. In her interview, Margaret says good thing Miss Crazy Pants isn’t there creating a scene or slandering people, but she misses Danielle.

Siggy meets Danielle on the terrace. She apologizes about being dismissive; it was uncalled for, and she didn’t deserve it. Danielle says Siggy has hurt her feelings before, but she became unhinged. She saw red, and she doesn’t want to see that color again. She introduced Margaret to everyone, and doesn’t know how they got to that place. Siggy says Margaret has done nothing but attack her. She knew about her hysterectomy, and called her Soggy. (sigh) The Hitler reference was hurtful to her, and once again, Margaret hit a nerve. Danielle says because Margaret isn’t there, she needs to say that she hasn’t seen that kind of intention. Not to demean what she went through, but it would have been better for Siggy to just say she didn’t like it, and pick another analogy. Siggy says she’s sorry she took it out on Danielle. She thinks Margaret’s energy doesn’t work with her. Danielle thinks it’s probably the same with Margaret. In her interview, Danielle says Margaret is one of the good ones, and she’ll always have her back, no matter what. She tells Siggy that she’s still hurt, but baby steps. They hug.

Melissa feels touristy and warm inside. They sit down for lunch. Dolores wishes everyone was there, and by that, I’m sure she means Siggy. Melissa says she talked to Siggy, and there has to be a way. She mentions that Siggy listens to Dolores more, but Dolores says Siggy has her own deal. Teresa asks if she thinks Margaret is anti-Semitic, and Dolores says no, but she thinks Margaret is anti-Siggy. Margaret says she wasn’t until last night. Dolores says Margaret wants to make a point about things she doesn’t know the dynamics of. In her interview, Dolores accuses Margaret of stirring the pot. She tells Margaret that she might have reacted the same way, but Margaret doubts it. Dolores says she doesn’t like being pitted against someone, and Margaret is pushing the limit; she’s getting annoyed. Do she and Siggy make up parallel bizarro worlds in their heads? Teresa tells Dolores that she thinks because Siggy doesn’t like Margaret, she’s not giving her a chance. Dolores says while she doesn’t appreciate how Margaret “handles” Siggy, that’s not the case. Okay, maybe she and Siggy are both just full of it. In her interview, Margaret says that Siggy could be holding a bloody knife, saying she didn’t do it, and Dolores would back her up. Dolores says in her honest opinion, Margaret and Siggy can never be friends. Melissa thinks the trip is going to be horrendous. Teresa says they’re like oil and vinegar, and after a moment in which everyone takes that in, they correct her. Now that was funny.

Siggy calls Michael. She feels like it’s hard to explain what she’s going through with Margaret. Everyone is making her feel like there’s something wrong with her. That’s because there is. Michael says Margaret doesn’t like her. Siggy needs to take her own advice, and walk away from a toxic situation. His advice is to come home. Siggy says she’s done, and Michael tells her if she doesn’t put stop to it, he will. She says coming home.

Next time, champagne, a bike ride, cooking, Joe #2 has a sit-down with his girls, Siggy cries some more, and Margaret takes an informal poll about her being anti-Semitic.

General Hospital

Carly thanks Bobbie for coming. Bobbie says from the way Carly sounded, she didn’t know whether she needed to be stopped from killing someone or needed help burying a body. Carly says it’s Nelle. Bobbie thought Michael was done with her, but Carly says Nelle isn’t done with them. At least not for the next nine months.

At the MetroCourt, Nelle says good morning to Sonny. He suggests she eat somewhere else, but she says she’s having cravings lately. He asks if she’s expecting someone, and she says she is. He says someone will have to pay for her breakfast; he’s just glad it’s not his son.

Dante sees Michael at the station, and Michael says his car was towed. Like the week wasn’t bad enough. Dante offers to make some calls, but Michael says he already paid the fee. Dante asks if he got any sleep, and Michael says no, but he guesses that will be good for some training. Dante asks what he’s saying, and Michael says Nelle is pregnant.

At Kelly’s, Lulu tells Laura about busting Nelle. Laura asks if Michael is done with her now, and Lulu says once and for all. It felt good to expose her, but it wasn’t exactly what she needed to impress Peter August enough to hire her. Laura says if anyone can do it, she can. Lulu says she’s her mother’s daughter. Laura says she’s ready to take on a new challenge of her own.

Finn knocks on Cassandra’s door, and she welcomes him in. There’s a table laden with a huge breakfast and champagne. She says now that she has a clean bill of health, her appetite and joie de vivre have returned with a vengeance. I really like Jessica Tuck in this role.

Anna meets Sonny for coffee. She asks if it’s about Faison. Sonny says he was there in Port Charles less than 24-hours ago; he and Jason just missed him. He slides the envelope over to her and she pulls out the manuscript, The Severed Branch by P.K. Sinclair. She says it’s Faison’s pen name. It’s starting again. Omg, I hope so.

Carly tells Bobbie that she had to be fair. In the beginning, she thought Nelle was misguided, and did nothing while she got her hooks in Michael. Bobbie says Nelle wouldn’t be the first to fake a pregnancy, but Carly says it was confirmed. She’s pregnant. Bobbie says they have to get a paternity test, and Carly says the appointment has already been made, but she’s not overly optimistic. Nelle is willing to take the test, and she doesn’t think Nelle would risk it if it wasn’t Michael’s. Bobbie asks how Michael feels, and Carly tells her he refuses to walk away. Bobbie says she raised a stand-up guy. Carly says Nelle counted on that, but what she didn’t count on was her. She wants Bobbie to access the test when it comes back. Bobbie asks what she’s suggesting.

Nina and Charlotte go to the MetroCourt. Charlotte sees Nelle and runs to her. She tells Nelle that they’re going to see Santa. Nelle says it’s one of those fun mother/daughter moments, and then corrects that to stepmother. Nina tells Charlotte to go get hot chocolate and cookies. After she leaves, Nina says Nelle couldn’t pay her rent a week ago, now she’s dining at the most expensive restaurant. Nelle says it has nothing to do with her, but Nina says it does. She’s paying with the money she made by selling out Nina’s brother. Carly wasn’t right about Nelle. Nelle is even worse than she said.

Michael tells Dante that Nelle is really pregnant, and he’s probably the father. Dante says he has a lot to think about. Michael says just when he thought they were done, there’s a child. Nathan pops in, asking where Britt is, and goes into the interrogation room to see her. They hug.

Anna asks how Sonny got the manuscript, and he tells her about tracing Obrecht’s burner phone. Spinelli tracked a call to a suite at the Cosmopolitan. They missed Faison, but Britt was there. She said she was tired of running, and stayed behind. She told them the last thing Faison did was burn the manuscript. Anna takes it out of the plastic folder.

Cassandra says Finn hasn’t touched his champagne, and asks if he’s on call. He says they have nothing to celebrate yet. She says what a shame the bean counters at GH care more about the bottom line than human suffering. Finn says he knows all the rules and regulations are for a reason, and Cassandra tells him sometimes you can’t use red tape to bind a wound. He says a doctor’s job is to push boundaries in order to move forward, but they’re sitting on life changing treatments, keeping them from those who need them the most. Cassandra says it’s unconscionable the way the administration treated him after he gave them his profits. He says you’d think they’d cut him some slack, but instead put up roadblocks, and patients are suffering. She says it’s cruel and unnecessary, but the hospital’s loss is their gain. If the breakthrough is what he says it is, she can find a way to develop it, and fast track the distribution. He asks if that’s code for bending the law or breaking it.

Laura tells Lulu about the possible redevelopment of the Charles Street area. Lulu asks why it’s a bad idea, and Laura says she’s not against it, but there are a lot of memories, rich history, diversity, and culture there. Why spoil it with high-rise condos and expensive stores selling nothing anybody needs? I’m with Laura on this, since it happened with a neighborhood near me, when eminent domain was abused. Lulu wonders if she shouldn’t be focused on the wedding, and asks if they have a date.

Nelle tells Nina she told the truth. Nina says she wasn’t being noble. She wanted to make a quick buck and get back at her. Nelle says after Chet (calling him “Chad”) told his story, the book sales got a boost. Technically, she should get a cut. She asks Nina what she has going in terms of good childcare. She and Michael will be looking for a nanny soon. Nina says, poor Michael. Poor Michael nothing. I haven’t heard him say anything about birth control once, and I think he’s old enough to know you need to use it if you don’t want a baby.

Carly tells Bobbie that Nelle plays dirty; they have to play dirtier. Bobbie says she would walk on broken glass for her family, but if the baby is his, the truth will come out. If Michael suspects she kept him from his child, it won’t be good. Carly asks what she’s supposed to do, and Bobbie says it isn’t up to her. Sorry, but the decision is Michael’s, and what he says, goes. Carly says he wants what’s best for the baby, but Nelle is going to use it to worm her way back into his life. Bobbie says probably, but Carly doesn’t have to embrace her. Carly tells Bobbie that Michael won’t let her exclude Nelle, and Nelle will use the baby as leverage to get what she wants.

Dante tells Michael that Nelle isn’t his favorite person, but no matter what, all that matters is the baby. He asks if Michael told Carly and Sonny. Michael says Carly knows, but he hasn’t said anything to Sonny yet. Dante says that Sonny will understand. He despises Ava, but loves Avery. No matter how he feels about Nelle, he will love the child.

Britt tells Nathan that she got tired of running, and tagging along with her father. He wasn’t as bad as she expected, and at times was somewhat kind, but she couldn’t live in limbo. She’s decided to deal with the charges against her, and what comes next. Nathan is sorry for the circumstances, but grateful for the timing. He could use some sisterly advice. He’s going to be a dad. She hugs him.

Cassandra tells Finn that she wouldn’t dream of breaking or bending the law. Regulations maybe, but not the law. He tells her it’s a fine distinction, but she says regulations can prevent progress, while the law facilitates it. She thinks it’s possible for her to fund his research, and circumvent the regulations. He can contribute to society, and be properly rewarded. She wants to shake on it, but he says he’d better not.

Anna looks through the manuscript, and asks if Sonny read it, but he wanted her to look at it first. She says as far as she knows, Faison hasn’t written anything in years. Sonny tells her that Britt said it just showed up, and Faison was shook. Anna thinks he would be too vain to burn his own work, but the true mystery is in the ending. There isn’t one.

Carly tells Bobbie from the moment Nelle slithered her way into town, she had an agenda. Nothing is ever her fault, and she’s always the victim. Michael practically has a neon sign that says, damsel in distress, how can I help? He finally sees her for who she is, and tells her to get lost, and now there’s a baby. Carly knows she did something similar, and wonders if it’s payback or karma biting her in the ass? Bobbie says she forgave Carly long ago, but Nelle isn’t her; she’s a conniving snake. Carly says, and now she’s pregnant. Bobbie tells her every child is a gift. Carly needs to focus on the baby.

Nelle tells Nina that she and Michael are both thrilled. Too bad Nina and Valentin can’t share that feeling, since she can’t have children. Wow. That was mean. Nina says there’s more to motherhood than getting pregnant, and for the baby’s sake, hopes Nelle realizes that. Charlotte comes back, and asks if Nelle can come, but Nina says she has to finish her food; she worked really hard for it. Nelle says she’s waiting for someone, and tells them merry Christmas.

Laura says she can’t wait to marry Doc, and Lulu asks why she is. The sooner she picks a date, the sooner she can make arrangements. Laura says they’ve both been there and done that, and they want something cozy and intimate. Lulu asks if she can help, but Laura says no. She’ll be the first to know when they pick a date; just keep working on her big scoop. Lulu says it will have to wait. She’s meeting Charlotte in the park to see Santa.

Britt tells Nathan to congratulate Maxie, who probably hasn’t forgiven her. She says Obrecht must be over the moon. Nathan is surprised Britt didn’t reach out to her, but Britt says she’ll be there soon enough with lots of helpful criticism. He wishes the circumstances were different, but he’s glad to see her, and is going to do his best to get her out. He’s going to need some advice, and she says she is an OB/GYB; what does he want to know? He says they can start with the family history. Obrecht is dragging her feet.

Anna tells Sonny most authors put a couple of meanings in the title. Sonny says that Britt didn’t think her father wrote it, but if that’s the case, who did? Anna says he has to start with the publisher. She apologizes that she can’t do the legwork, but he tells her he has Spinelli to work on it. Anna says to tell him to be careful. If this is tied to Faison, they can’t take any chances.

Cassandra asks Finn if he’s turning her down. He says no, he appreciates the offer. She says he hides it well, but he tells her he needs time to think. She respects that, although she finds it frustrating. She says she’s going to talk to other researchers in the field while she’s waiting. Finn says he’ll make a decision very soon, as long as there are no other deals in the meantime. Cassandra says she’ll wait, but don’t take too long. He leaves, and they both smile on opposite sides of the closed door.

At the MetroCourt, Anna sees Finn, and asks how the meeting went. He tells her that Cassandra seems to be interested in pain management, and was ready to write a check to fund his research, since the hospital already turned him down. Anna asks if he signed up for that, and when he says no, she says, oh, he played hard to get; good. Finn asks if this is this point where she tells him to get out before it’s too late. She says she cares about his welfare, but since he’s determined, she has no choice but to let him do what he wants. It wouldn’t help anything to have him arrested, so have at it. He tells her that he’s not doing this for an adrenaline rush or to be a hero, but to put a small dent in the epidemic. Anna wants that too, among other things. He says they’re on the same page then. He leaves to get coffee, but keeps turning around to look at her, since he can’t believe it was that easy.

Michael tells Dante that he can’t put it off any longer. He promised meet with Nelle. Dante knows it’s not how Michael wanted it to go, but however it shakes out, the family will be there.

At the park, Nina asks if Charlotte has a list for Santa, and Charlotte asks if they can go shopping for papa afterward. Lulu arrives, and tells Charlotte that the first time she saw her, she was on Santa’s lap. She didn’t know she was Charlotte’s mom, but felt an instant connection. She asks if Charlotte is excited about their first Christmas together, but Charlotte looks sad. She asks Nina if she and papa will be lonely. Nina says they’ll miss her, but will have their own Christmas after. Charlotte gets excited about having two Christmases, and Nina says it’s a bonus.

On the phone, Sonny tells Spinelli that he’s sending a package to him that he needs to work on asap. Nelle tells the waitress to put her bill on Mr. Corrinthos’s tab. Sonny says he won’t be joining her or buying her breakfast, and Nelle says she meant Michael. The waitress says she’ll have to get his approval first, and leaves. Sonny says Nelle wanted him to hear, but she says she’d rather he not notice her at all. She’s waiting for Michael. He tells her not to hold her breath. She asks if he has Monica’s number. She thinks it would be a good idea to get together and discuss their future as a family. They need to get past the animosity and suspicion, and get along, now that she’s having a baby. Carly walks in and makes a disgusted face.

Finn tries to get into his room, but his keycard won’t work.

Dante sees Laura, and she says he just missed Lulu, but since here, she’s wondering if Michael mentioned any details about the Charles Street development. He asks if she wants him to reveal a confidential conversation, and she takes that as a yes.

Lulu thanks Nina, who says it was important to Charlotte that they all be there. She gives Lulu some coffee, and says she would have gone to Kelly’s if she’d known she was going to run into Nelle. She said she was eating for two, and Lulu will never guess who the father is. Lulu says, Michael. She can’t believe it. She was just saying how glad he must be to be rid of her. Charlotte has a piece of paper with her list on it, and Lulu looks at the other side. It’s a ballot, and she asks Charlotte where she got it.

Sonny asks Carly to tell him it’s a lie. She wishes she could, but Nelle is definitely pregnant, and it could be Michael’s. Finn interrupts, telling Carly his keycard isn’t working. Carly says that’s because he checked out; she had the locks reset. He freaks about his stuff and Roxie, but she says she had housekeeping pack up everything, and made sure they were gentle with Roxie. She liked having him there, but right now she’s in middle of something. She tells him good luck. He wonders what’s going on, and turns around to see Anna dangling a key from her hand.

Nelle says she, Carly, and Sonny should discuss their grandchild. Carly says she’s going to milk this, isn’t she? Nelle says she’s not apologizing for wanting the best for her kid.

Dante tells Laura he knows where Lulu got her devious streak. Laura says he can’t blame a girl for trying. Dante tells her that there’s going to be a public hearing, but it’s probably just a formality.

Charlotte asks if she did something wrong. Lulu says she was just wondering where Charlotte found it. Charlotte says at Windemere, and Lulu tells Nina it’s a ballot.

Britt says it was a mixed blessing, having Obrecht as her mom her whole life. Just when she thought she could predict her or figure her out, she would discover Obrecht was playing a completely different game, so she gave up. Nathan wonders if he shouldn’t bother, and Britt tells him to keep pressing. Just focus on the facts, and don’t try to figure out her motives. He needs to do his best. The more complete the family history, the better to anticipate issues in the future. He turned out fine, and she’s sure his child will too. The guard comes in, saying it’s time for lock-up. Nathan tells her not to lose hope. After she’s gone, he calls Obrecht. He says he has news, and questions that still need answering.

Michael is surprised to see Sonny and Carly with Nelle, and asks if she invited his parents. She says no, it was just good luck. Sonny says he can call it a lot of other things. Nelle suggests they discuss the wonderful new addition, and says it’s a blessing.

On the phone, Cassandra says she has good news. The new product might be ready sooner than expected. She found the man and means to speed up the process.

Finn asks Anna what the keys are for. She says what they’re usually for, unlocking a door. He says, like his was supposed to do? She says they live in a house, not a hotel, and if he insists on doing business with Cassandra, she’s responsible for keeping him alive. He tells her he can take care of himself. She says his life is her legal responsibility. She has to keep him as close as possible to insure his safety. He asks if he can’t just sign a waiver. She tells him if he wants to play, these are the rules. She’ll see him at home. He rolls his eyes.

Tomorrow, Ava tells Julian that family sticks together, Nelle tells Michael that he’ll regret it if he refuses to make her life easy, and Jason goes to see Drew.

Below Deck – Reunion

Or what I like to call, the cheap reunion, since it’s always in the clubhouse, instead of some amazing palace. Everyone looks fab, especially Kate and Baker.

In a quick catch up, we find out that Baker’s step-uncle is Thomas Ravenel (Southern Charm). Nico recently spread his brother’s ashes, and his family is working on promoting organ tissue donation. He says it was a tough decision to make to come back this season.

We flash back on how green the crew was. Captain Lee laughs, Nico looks mortified, and Jen has nothing at all in her head. A viewer asks who the captain would or would not work with again. He wants to plead the fifth, but Chris (who was fired mid-season and isn’t there) is a definite no. Kate says it was extra work this season, and she had to split tips with people who didn’t work as hard, and were unappreciative of the work that was done. A viewer asks if EJ thinks someone else should have been fired. He says he was on the fence, although Chris seemed to be pulling his weight. Captain Lee has no regrets. Baker says Chris was the weakest link, but it was sink or swim. Nico says he wasn’t a bad guy, but his work ethic was just so enough to get by. Kyle says it didn’t feel like his Valor.

We go back to EJ coming on board, Nico’s feelings about it, and the struggle being real between them. Andy asks if Nico would have had issues with anyone, and he says it was painful to watch. He thinks he was mentally stressed, and it was like the last straw. He felt hurt. Andy asks if Captain Lee thought Nico deserved bosun, and he says, hell no. Andy points out Nico threatening to quit if he didn’t become bosun, and Nico is like, geez, pick on me, why don’t you? EJ says his apology was half-hearted, but he knew it wasn’t going to change. The captain says he didn’t see the childish behavior during the season, and didn’t appreciate it when he saw it on TV. Nico hadn’t gone through the maturation process he should have. Nico agrees he shouldn’t have acted that way, but thinks he did earn his promotion. Captain Lee says the time to get it right is in the moment, not apologize when it’s over, and make excuses. They have a job to do. Either do it, or accept the help. Nico didn’t have the common sense to accept and appreciate the help he was given. Nico admits his comments are fair.

Hook-ups and near hook-ups are reviewed, including Bruno’s turn as a sushi platter. Almost everyone is single. EJ is asked why he didn’t seal the deal with Baker, but he says it seemed wrong to kiss her and leave. He adds that it wasn’t what he was there to do. Andy asks if Baker would have been receptive. She says nothing wrong with that, and he suggests the night is young. Andy asks if Matt hadn’t been so drunk, would Bri have been more receptive? She says it was a bummer for sure. Matt thinks it worked out for the best, since they did work closely together. We find out Bri’s guy just left NYC, and Bri says they’re not dating yet, but thinks she’s in love.

Andy asks about the charter guest that grabbed Jen’s butt, and if they really suggested a threesome. Jen says it was more like a broad suggestion. Kate is asked why she didn’t address it with the captain. She says Jen had told her they were drunk and out of control, which happens a lot with charter guests. It’s not right, but out in international waters, they think they paid to do whatever they want, plus there’s alcohol. Kate says knowing what she knew, she handled it appropriately. She made sure Jen wasn’t alone with them, and gave her a whistle. Captain Lee agrees. Andy asks if he knew what was going on, but he says he saw it on TV. He says separating Jen was the best thing, because there’s no reasoning with a drunk. If he’d needed to get involved, they’d have walked home.

Next up is Nico and Bri. BTW, Nico is looking cute with a bit of a Miami Vice scruffy look. We see clips of them, and Nico ending up going back to his girlfriend. He says they got together for a short amount of time, but it didn’t work out. Andy asks how pissed she was. Nico says he told her beforehand. She wasn’t happy, but he doesn’t really regret it. He thanks Bri for being supportive during a bad time. Going back to his girlfriend, he says hearing something, and seeing it physically unravel, are two different things. Bri thinks he wasn’t totally honest, because she didn’t know it was a committed relationship. She says if she’d had more feelings invested, she would have been hurt, but it was more like being there for each other. Andy calls it a boatmance.

A viewer asks what happened in Barcelona between Bri and Nico? Bri says it was Nico’s birthday, and she was drunk when she met him. They shared a cab back, but nothing happened. Again, the lying about his girlfriend question comes up. I thought we covered that already. Andy asks about regrets. Nico thinks he was clear, and Bri said she liked being free. Bri concurs that she’s not heartbroken either way.

Jen is next, and we review what an a-hole she is. Kate is not amused, and Jen looks embarrassed. A viewer asks what she thought she was signing up for? She says she knew, but admits to complaining. Kate is asked if it was the worst crew ever, and if she could have been nicer. She says until you work on a charter, you can’t comprehend how much work there is. The worst season for her was on the Eros with Rocky (yeah, she was certifiable). Kate says it was not good. Jen says they had a banter that was sarcastic, witty, and jovial, but there’s a fine line between joking and insulting. Jen apologizes, and Kate concedes that she was being a bitch sometimes.

Captain Lee says on the boat, he wasn’t privy to what was going on. Kate never came to him with anything about Jen. After he saw it, had he known about a couple of instances, he would have read Jen the riot act. Kyle says he didn’t think things were so jovial, and he defended Kate when Jen “slagged her off.” Kate says let Jen vent, and she can defend herself. Bri says they were hard on each other, and Matt says thy actually had fun, because he can’t stand being left out.

A viewer brings up them using the word “whore,” and both Kate and Jen apologize. Another viewer asks why it’s okay with Jen to call Baker a whore, and Jen says she apologized to Baker. She was drunk, and had no place doing that. Baker says end-of-the-night stuff isn’t to be taken seriously. Good attitude! Jen’s drinking is brought up, and Jen says it was hard to watch; it’s not who she is. Oh, how I hate when people say that. Jen says she barely drinks, only champagne, and only on the weekends, every other weekend. Okay…

We move to Jen taking a bite of Kyle’s food, and he says she has no manners. Kyle lectures about asking first. Nico thinks he’s being dramatic, but it’s his thing. Andy asks if something could have happened between Kyle and Jen prior to the food incident. Kyle says he’s with a lot of guys on the boats most of the time, so when he sees an attractive woman, he wants to go for it, even if it’s just to have a good time out. She effed it up with the food. I’m with Jen on this one. It was a clean fork, and he over-reacted. He’s over-reacting right now.

Jen thinks a lot of the crew forgot about their own green time, and says she’s aware of being a lot to handle. Kyle says she played the victim, and was a liar. Kate says she was similar on her first yacht. Andy asks if Bri was working toward being second stew. Bri says she felt like she was from the beginning (yep), and thinks she deserved it. Jen agrees. EJ says Kate knows what she’s doing; the rest aren’t as well versed in different yachts; they’re coming in with little experience. Kate worked with what she had, and got them through the season. Andy asks if Kate would work with Jen again. Kate says no one makes her laugh more. It’s an important quality, and they’re friends. She’s a pleasure to be around, but Kate isn’t sure yachting is for her. She’d work with Jen again, but would like to see her more in her element, and thinks her strengths are suited to other industries.

Bruno joins the group via Skype. He’s been working out, and he’s quite jacked. He’s also gotten engaged to his partner, Joseph. Andy asks if he’s officially gay, and Bruno says if you want to label him, sure. He’s engaged to a beautiful heart and a beautiful person. Bruno is way too altruistic for me. He’s asked if he’s team Nico or team EJ, and he says, Nico for sure. Andy asks why, and he says it’s simple. Nico was there in the beginning, teaching him and being supportive, regardless of his personal issues.

Andy says, Matt started good, but guests didn’t always think his food was well done (BA-DUM-CHH!). We see clips of some complaints. Andy tells us that between Matt’s food gaffs and girlfriend troubles, Bruno helped him. Andy tells Matt it was a rough season. Matt says he brought personal things to the workplace, and wishes he hadn’t. Andy asks Kate if she missed Ben. Kate says good banter makes her laugh, but it’s nice to have break from his intensity. A viewer asks why there’s no sous chef, and Matt says he had Bruno. Andy says no labels; he’s whatever he is. Andy asks Bruno why he helped Matt, and Bruno says he loves cooking. He saw Matt needed help, so why not? He says Matt’s a great listener, and wonders why someone wasn’t helping him out, like Kate did at the end. She didn’t help him all season, but their last powwow showed him how much Kate was a team player. Bruno feels that she only criticized all season. He didn’t see her sitting with Matt like she did during the last charter. I’m wondering when it became the chief stew’s job to help out the chef. Andy asks Kate if Bruno is helpful or a know-it-all. She says he was a little out of line and entitled. They appreciated the team work, but would appreciate it more if he didn’t boast so much. Bruno says he tried to be helpful and turn things around with her, but she wasn’t receptive. Andy asks Bri if Bruno or Jen would make a better stew, and she says Bruno. Captain Lee says, it was too little too late with Matt. He’d thought Matt had it inside, and didn’t need anyone other than what he possessed in his own talents. Kate thinks Bruno would make a wonderful stew, but wouldn’t want to work with him, since he has no respect for her. Bruno says he respects everyone, but respect is mutual, and there were a lot of unpleasant movements. On that note, we bid Bruno goodbye.

Andy asks who Captain Lee’s all-star crew team would be. He decides on Kate, Nico, Eddie, Ben, and Kelley, in that order. Andy says that Nico told Baker he was going to be a plumbing apprentice, and asks how that panned out. Nico says he’s working for the family company, and studying for his captain’s license. He and his brother are buying a boat, and going to be chartering it. Andy asks about any regrets, and EJ says, not kissing Baker. Everyone wants him to do it now, and he says it’s too much pressure. Jen suggests he take her out tonight. Kate thinks she’s friends with everyone, but she and Jen really clicked. Kyle jokes that he’s lonely. Andy thanks them all for a great season, and we’re out. I’ll miss them. And that blue, blue water.

Postscript: The reunion was even cheaper than I thought, since it was also used for tonight’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.

General Hospital

 

All Britt knows is that her father thought Jason was dead, was furious when he found out otherwise, and wanted the traitor dead. Sonny asks if she knew the traitor’s name, but she says no. She’s truly sorry, but says Jason not only survived, he’s in excellent shape. Why not just move on? Jason says because her father gave his life to someone else.

Drew asks how well she knew him. She says they didn’t know each other long, but their time together was pretty intense. She got pregnant, and Oscar is his son. Sam overhears.

Michael tells Carly that Nelle is pregnant, and Nelle says, congratulations, grandma. <snort> Carly says it’s the oldest trick in the book. Michael says the doctor confirmed it, and she’s six-weeks along. Carly says the baby isn’t his.

Anna goes into the interrogation room, and tells Andre this is a fine predicament.

At the hospital, Finn tells Cassandra that the last test he was worried about is negative; she’s completely in the clear. She wonders why he’s looking upset, and he says he wasted her time, and brought her all the way there for nothing. She says it wasn’t a complete waste, and asks why he’s being so formal with her. He says it has nothing to do with her, and she wonders what’s put him in a foul mood.

Sonny says they know Britt and Faison checked in three days ago. Wasn’t he worried about being recognized? She says her father has a talent for being incognito. She explains that before coming back, they traveled all over Europe, naming some major cities. Jason asks if they went to St. Petersburg, and she says they did. He wonders why they were touring the financial capitals. Sonny thinks maybe he was tracing where the traitor had gone. Jason says maybe he was following the traitor’s path, to see what else they might have done.

Sam joins Kim and Drew, saying she didn’t mean to eavesdrop. Drew asks if Oscar knows, and Kim says she hasn’t told him, but he started asking questions after his brother showed up on Thanksgiving. She says she wore her heart on her sleeve, seeing a face she knew. Drew says, just when think it can’t get more strange. Kim tells him that they hit it off fast, and spent a couple of months together. It wasn’t a fling; they had a real connection, but he was scheduled to be deployed with an open-ended tour. They both knew they’d probably never see each other again. Drew asks if she let him leave without telling him she was pregnant.

Nelle says It’s common knowledge that Carly didn’t know who Michael’s father was, trying to pass him off as Tony Jones’s child, and then AJ’s. No one seemed to have any issue about her sleeping with two brothers, and her stepfather. Nelle says she’s not promiscuous, and has only been with Michael. Carly interjects that it was after she pretended to sleep with Sonny. Carly says she thinks it’s going to be her golden ticket, but the first thing they’re doing is a paternity test.

Andre didn’t expect to see Anna. She asks if he doesn’t think she cares about the people affected?  Or him? He tells her that he didn’t think she wanted anything to do with him. She says he was a good friend when she needed one, and she wants to be one for him, but she has to understand why this happened or why he didn’t come to her. He says he didn’t want to bother her, but she thinks he didn’t want her to know he was playing God with everyone’s lives. She asks, why? Andre says why does it matter? He can’t undo it. Anna says when he came to her that night to say goodbye, he told her that she’d hear things that would make him sound bad, and he wanted her to hold on to the good. She has, and believes him and knows him. She knows someone or something powerful made him do it; it just doesn’t make sense. What was so important that he destroyed all these lives, including his own? Andre says, his wife.

Finn explains to Cassandra that he’s developed a new painkiller that could revolutionize the treatment of patients, but the board is refusing to fund it. Cassandra says that’s shortsighted. The royalties from his last discovery is keeping life in the hospital. He says it doesn’t technically treat an illness, but making patients comfortable is part of their treatment. He tells her that they’re concerned about it being highly addictive if administered incorrectly. Cassandra asks if he’s put in a new drug application, and says he might have to just live with the satisfaction of saving lives. Finn says this time he’d like to get paid, and she says, as well he should.

Jason says maybe killing him wasn’t the traitor’s only job. Maybe they were handling operations in other cities, and Faison wanted to see if they were being handled correctly. Sonny asks Britt what kind of mood he was in, and she says it wasn’t that great to begin with, and got steadily worse. Jason asks when he went out, and what he was wearing when she did. Britt says mostly suits in the daytime, but he went out occasionally in the evening. Jason says those cities are financial capitals, and Sonny thinks Faison needed a clear picture on what the traitor did. He asks Britt if the traitor is dead, and if that’s why he left.

Josslyn and Oscar walk in the park. She says he doesn’t have to see the results. He’s gone his entire life without knowing, and if he wants to go on not knowing, it’s okay. He says it’s not okay to hide from the truth. She tells him to just click, and he asks her to do it. She does, and asks if he wants to look at it, or should she just tell him. Oscar wants her to tell him, and Josslyn says Drew is his father.

Kim didn’t know she was pregnant when Drew left. She found out weeks after he was deployed. Drew says he’s sorry she went through it alone, and Kim says he didn’t do it on purpose. He was a different man in a different life. She tells him it didn’t feel right putting it in a letter, and she couldn’t email or call because he was classified, and she wasn’t family. In all fairness, she didn’t tell his superiors; she thought he should know first. After Oscar was born, the most important thing was to make sure he was loved and cared for and protected. She finished her internship, then her residency and specialty. There was a lot of life to deal with, and she questioned whether or not to drop the bomb on him. The Drew she knew was dedicated to the SEALs. He’d told her once that it wasn’t fair to ask someone to wait, and she wondered if he’d even welcome the news. She thought it was better for Oscar not to know, especially if he didn’t want anything to do with him. Then one Christmas, after the presents were unwrapped, Oscar had fallen asleep. He’d been so excited about Santa, he’d been up all night. At that moment, she realized she was robbing him of all the moments. She contacted the Navy in 2013, but they told her he’d deserted.

Michael tells Carly that he was thinking the same thing, but right now wanted to focus on the pregnancy. One step at a time. Nelle asks if he’s still questioning that he’s the father. Carly says they wouldn’t believe her if she said the sky was blue. Nelle tells Michael that he knows the dates. Michael says he’s constantly caught her in lies, and he’s been lied to before about a child being his, then had the rug pulled out from under him. It’s not happening again, and he won’t believe her until it’s proven.

Andre tells Anna that his wife’s name is Kita; he called her Kato. He met her at an art show, but could focus only on her. She was beautiful with an intoxicating laugh. Her life was like a light, and she was way out of his league. He was scared to talk to her, but as he was leaving, she stopped him. She said if he was going to stare at her all night, at least buy her a drink, and he did. Anna says she sounds incredible. Andre says he fell hard, and they moved in together after six months. She was his best friend, and they were so in love. He joined the WSB, and was sent overseas for a year, but she couldn’t come with him. They decided to elope, so they would stay committed to each other. Anna says he keeps talking about her in the past tense; what happened? Jordan is walking by the door, and hears them. He says after they were married for three months, her sister called him. Something was wrong. Kita was disoriented and losing her memory. He came back, and found out it was the early onset of Alzheimer’s. Anna says, so he created the memory map to save the woman he loved. By now, they’re both crying. Andre says he couldn’t lose her. Jordan listens outside the door.

Britt doesn’t think the traitor is dead; her father was too agitated, and would have been calmer. He got a phone call the other night, and went out. He came back in a foul mood, and said they had to go. Jason asks what this is, showing her a half-burned manuscript by P.K. Sinclair. I get so excited, I don’t even notice the title, which might possibly be significant.

Kim tells Drew that she’s sorry. Drew says given what she knew, she did the best thing. Kim tells him, now it’s up to him to decide what happens next.

Oscar asks Josslyn if this is really happening; Drew is his father. Josslyn can’t believe it’s happening either. He says he’s overwhelmed and shocked. It was one thing to think Drew was his father, and another to have the proof. Josslyn says, omg, the Quartermaines. They’re Drew’s family, and now they’re Oscar’s too, including Michael. He was named after Sonny, but his father is a Quartermaine. Oscar asks if he and Josslyn are related, and she says not even close. She only has half-siblings, and now he does too. Scout is his half-sister. He says it’s kind of cool, but doesn’t know how to process it. His whole life, it’s just been him and his mom. Now, there are all these people, a sister, the Quartermaines. He wonders if it’s a good thing or a bad thing.

Andre spent years developing a master plan that could save Kita, but by the time it was viable, she was too far gone. The light, the energy that was so much a part of her, had been extinguished. She didn’t even know him. Anna asks where she is, and Andre tells her in a facility under her parents care. She occasionally remembered them, but never him. He says with Jason and Andrew, he didn’t mean for things to go this far. He was truly trying to help. Anna believes him. She says she’ll talk to the authorities on his behalf, and Andre says that’s more than he deserves. She tells him take care of himself, and he says her too. She gets up, and he says whoever is behind this is someone powerful. He tells her to be careful, and she tells him to be careful too. When Anna is gone, Jordan walks in. She asks if he was never going to tell her he was married.

Britt says P.K. Sinclair was a pen name her father used when he wrote a series of books about a spy named Daphne in the 80s. Jason wonders why he’d torch his own book, and she says she doesn’t know about that manuscript; she doesn’t think he wrote it. It just showed up, and the last thing he did before he left, was put it in the fireplace. Sonny wonders what about the book could make him so nervous?

Kim tells Drew to take all the time he needs, and she’ll do a DNA test if he wants. She’s not expecting anything from him. She’s been taking care of Oscar his whole life, and they’re just fine. If he doesn’t want a relationship, that’s okay too. Drew didn’t mean to imply that, and she tells him sorry to throw his life in turmoil. Geez, he should be used to it by now. She’s sure they have a lot to talk about, but whatever he decides, she asks him not to do it tonight. She owes it to Oscar to tell him the truth first. Drew asks what Oscar is like; he’s met him a few times, and he seems like a good kid. Kim says he’s a great kid, and a fine young man – just like he was. She leaves, and Sam hugs Drew.

Cassandra says she’s all clear, and Finn has made his last note. She’s no longer his patient. Finn says technically, no. She says then there’s no good no reason to decline her invitation to meet tomorrow, and enjoy a conversation and meal. He says, as friends, and she says, what about colleagues? He asks what that’s about, and she thinks there’s a way they can help each other.

Jordan says Andre was married the whole time, but he says it’s not that simple. She says she would have understood, but he didn’t give her a chance. Andre tells her the marriage was dissolved years ago. Her family asked him to end it, so they could be her primary caregivers. He walked away from the woman he loved to give her peace. Jordan asks if he thought she would think less of him, and he says, yes. He had to put it in the past. He’s sorry. He knows he should have been honest, but was afraid of losing the first woman who made him feel like he could love again.

Nelle says she’s not jeopardizing her pregnancy with an invasive procedure. Carly says times have changed. It’s non-invasive now, and can be done as early as ten weeks. Michael says Nelle has no reason to worry or object. I wonder when Nelle would have had the time to be with someone else.

Britt says that Faison threw the manuscript in the fire, and said if she wasn’t going with him, she was on her own. She says she’s answered all of their questions, and asks if Sonny could answer one for her. She wonders how Ben has been. She knows he’s named Rocco now, but he’ll always be Ben to her. Sonny says he’s a good kid, and tells Britt that he had a long list for Santa. She thanks him for telling her, but he says don’t make him regret it. She can’t have contact with him or Spencer. She tells him that she won’t, and asks what now? He says he’s calling Dante, and telling him she’s there. Britt says she can save him the trouble. Give her a ride to the station. She’ll turn herself in.

Nelle says as long as they can guarantee it’s not invasive, go ahead and schedule the test. Michael will see she’s telling the truth. Carly says that will be a first. Nelle knows how they feel about her, but she’s not asking for anything. She tells Michael to sell the apartment. After this, there’s nothing connecting them. If he wants to be a father, she won’t stop him, but if not, it’s on him, but they’ll be fine.

Jordan says Andre should have told her the truth. She wouldn’t be walking around agonizing, thinking the man she once loved is a stranger. She thanks him, and understands. He tells her the whole time they were together, he kept accusing her of pulling away, but how could he expect her to be open when he wasn’t willing to let her see the real him? Here he is; the real him, finally. He hopes getting to know him now, brings her that peace. She says it’s nice to meet him too, and hopes he also gets the peace he needs.

Cassandra says she’ll set something up. Finn is curious as to how they help one another, and asks if she has any hints. She doesn’t want to ruin the surprise, but she might have something for him in her pharmaceutical company. They’ll discuss it, providing his lady friend doesn’t mind. Finn says she’s not part of this, and won’t mind. Cassandra goes into the elevator, and Finn sees Anna. She asks, what is he doing?

Jason believes the traitor kept him alive. Sonny says they don’t know if it’s even a man or a woman. Jason says maybe Drew saw them, since he was taken first. His memory was removed, but Andre took a baseline. Maybe he can give Drew his memories back. Didn’t Andre burn all the research?

Drew tells Sam that he doesn’t know how to proceed. He has a son now. How can they have a relationship after all these years? He doesn’t even know who he is. How can he make up for the years lost? Sam says he can’t, but he can start from here. He asks what about her, and she says nothing has changed. They knew he had a life before, and there might be more surprises. She’s in it for the long haul. If he wants to pursue a relationship with Oscar, she’s all in. They kiss.

Kim finds Oscar and Josslyn. Josslyn says she was just about to go. Kim says there’s something she wants to talk to Oscar about on the way home. He says he wants to talk about something too. Josslyn hugs him, and whispers, good luck. As they walk, Kim says she knows he’s been looking for answers.

Carly tells Michael when test proves Nelle is lying, she’ll be out of their lives for good. Michael asks what if it’s the truth? Carly says she’s lied about everything else. He says there’s a good chance the baby is his. If it is, she’s going to be part of their lives whether they like it or not.

Anna says Finn is doing the exactly what she told him not to. He asks if he’s a Labrador. He doesn’t work for her, and what he does on his own time is his business. She says he’s in over his head. He tells her that argument was nowhere to be found when she wanted him to deceive Cassandra before. He thinks he can play her, and she’ll be none the wiser. He cares as much as Anna does, and he’s moving forward, with or without her approval. She threatens to arrest him, and he tells her to go ahead. She just looks at him, and he says he didn’t think so. When he leaves, she says, okay, fine. Two can play at this game.

Tomorrow, Britt is glad to see someone, Laura takes on a new challenge, and Cassandra and Finn make a toast.

Vanderpump Rules

Lala looks good in the credits. There’s something a lot less harsh-looking about her.

Back at Scheana’s masquerade party, Schwartz says his instinct is to defend Jax. Brittany tells Jax if it’s true, she’s moving out, taking the dogs, and he can go to effing hell. Lisa approaches Faith, who swears Jax told her that he and Brittany were done. Seriously? She didn’t double-check that? Where was Brittany? In the bathroom? Lisa tells Brittany she doesn’t know what to believe. In her interview, Lisa never believes anything starting with I heard, but when it comes to Jax, it’s true. Jax says he’s blindsided. In his interview, he doesn’t understand, claiming he’s been faithful. Brittany is embarrassed, but Kristen and Scheana say she has nothing to be embarrassed about, and she’s the best thing that’s happened to all of them. Kristen tells Brittany that Jax is lucky she didn’t shove her stiletto down his throat and up his ass. Alrighty then. I hope she’s on my side in a fight. Inside, Jax calls for shots. Tom tells Scheana they don’t know for sure, and Jax says he’s not going to chase her down the street. Scheana says he should; her heart is broken, and he doesn’t deserve her.

James tells them that Faith missed her period. In his interview, Jax says this kind of sh*t ruins people’s lives. Like he didn’t have anything to do with it. Brittany thought he was changing for her, but if this is true, she’s punching him in his fake nose.

At Villa Rosa, Fadi the car broker brings Lisa a new offering from Ken. She tells us that she doesn’t like to be brattish in saying outright that she wants something, but is very good at hinting. Stassi drops by, and admires the car. In her interview, she says if being good at sex means a Rolls Royce, she must not be good, and needs to step it up.

Lisa asks what’s going on. She heard Stassi is interested in event planning. Stassi says she loves styling, decorating, and throwing parties, and event planning is like styling an atmosphere. If she’s going to learn from anyone, it’s Lisa. She wants to see if she’s cut out for this. Lisa says she’s extraordinarily bright, but a pita, and we flash back to Stassi being just that. Lisa thinks she definitely has a sense of style, something that can’t be taught; it has to be inherent. She asks Stassi to organize part of the restaurant for a party on Saturday. Stassi mentions that she’s gotten back together with Patrick. Lisa asks why not Jax? They discuss the situation with Brittany. Stassi says Jax is lucky she wasn’t at the party. She’s always wanted to impale someone, and put their head on a spike in her apartment. Lisa doesn’t get what the attraction is, and Stassi says Jax tells women what they want to hear. Lisa says he did the same thing to her, and Stassi says it’s a weird time to think about.

Brittany says too many people know about it and she has to tell her mom. Katie says she’s the last person who deserves this. She doesn’t know why he does this when he has perfect girl. She thinks he has a serious problem. She talks about the problems they’ve had, and how she found fake eyelashes on the counter. She wonders what’s wrong with her, and Katie tells Brittany that it wouldn’t matter; he would do this to anyone. Brittany says she’s going to Vegas. She’s single and is going to act like it.

Jax sticks his head in the room, but Brittany doesn’t want to look at him. He insists he didn’t do anything. and says someone is trying to sabotage him. He shows Brittany some texts, which don’t make things any better, and probably make them worse. She throws the phone at him, and says she hates him. He doesn’t deserve her. She moved, and left her family for him. She’s done. She hates him. Brittany cries on Katie’s shoulder, and Jax leaves.

James and Raquel go to PUMP. Lisa has funny sense of déjà vu, seeing Raquel’s super short short-shorts. We flash back to Brittany wearing similar ones when she had her job interview. James says the party was fun, but Lisa doesn’t quite agree. He says Raquel is interested in working at Vanderpump Pets. Harrison! Lisa asks what she does as a job, and Raquel says she’s a model and goes to school for kinesiology (it’s strange and complicated – google it). Lisa says it would probably be better if she volunteered. The volunteers do the brushing, walking, and cleaning up. In her interview, Lisa says Raquel is going to be on her knees with a scooper. She sarcastically tells Raquel to wear shorter shorts, and Raquel promises to dress appropriately for work.

James asks if he could take over SUR one night. Lisa says she thought the meeting wasn’t about him, and he says he thought he’d kill two birds with one stone, since she’s so busy. In his interview, James says he misses working for Lisa. In her interview, Lisa calls him a pita, but says she thought he’d come back, and hopefully be more mature. She might give it a try, but she’s not going to make it easy. He’s going to have to start at the bottom and work up. She gives him a maybe for Tuesdays.

It’s Ariana’s brother Jeremy’s birthday. Schwartz says it’s second party Katie wasn’t invited to that he’s attended in less than twelve hours. Ariana says Schwartz is schwasted. He never stopped drinking since he started at Scheana’s party, and at a certain point, it’s not cute. Tom gives Jeremy their house keys. In his interview, he says last time Jeremy interrupted their sex life, but they’re going through a dry spell now, and he might as well join the priesthood. James can’t believe Faith didn’t come.

Brit goes home, and talks to the dogs, but not Jax. He tries to talk to her, and she tells him to go away, then asks if he had her in their bed. He says no one has been there, and she calls him a liar. He can keep denying all he wants; he just looks like an idiot. She says to tell her the truth, and he says it is true. She tells him to rot in hell, and I’m totally on board with that. She talks about another time in their relationship when she went through months of denial. She asks why do that, and he says it was a bad time. Brittany says that when you love someone, you don’t do that. She didn’t do that to him, and would never do that to him. In her interview, he says they’ve been fighting for a long time, and we flash back to him being an a-hole in Kentucky. She hopes it was worth it. Wow. This is making me sad. Even though I can’t stand him, I feel badly for her. Brittany cries, as she holds one of the dogs. Seriously. She’s breaking my heart.

Pride Day is tomorrow, and Tom thinks it’s important that they go. He wants to surprise Lisa. He wants to do whatever it takes to keep the partnership alive. He says Jax has had a rough 24-hours. Oh, poor baby. Schwartz mumbles about Stockholm Syndrome. Ariana says Brittany deserves the world, or at least her boyfriend not screwing her friends. James tells them about Faith not getting her period. Tom wonders when Jax will stop pulling this sh*t.

Schwartz talks to Jax on the phone. Tom hunts him down. He tells Schwartz that he’s mad at Jax, and Schwartz starts crying, saying he’s been struggling. Tom says talk to him. Schwartz says, first of all, he’s drunk – ha-ha! Yeah, drunk and weepy. It’s the first time in his life he has no drive. Tom says Schwartz is his friend, and he’d never let anything happen to him. In his interview, Schwartz says he has all these new pressures, like being a husband. He tells Tom that he’s always anticipating a bad future. Tom says they’ll open up the bar,and it will be amazing. Schwartz is an awesome person, and it’s a privilege to know him. Schwartz says it goes both ways, and I lmao because they are both so drunk, and in that teary, sappy phase. In his interview, Schwartz hopes Lisa forgives Tom. Schwartz needs structure and stability to move on to the next chapter.

Brittany calls her mother, and says she needs her. She tells her mom about Jax, and that she’s going to Vegas. She slams the picture of them from her nightstand onto the floor. She says she should have known better, and just needed to tell her. Brittany’s mom says she loves her, and tells her to call back later. Brittany leaves for Vegas. In her interview, Brittany says she seriously thought she was going to marry Jax. She wanted it bad, and the thought of him cheating makes her want to cry. She tells us that you don’t treat someone like this if you love them, and he obviously doesn’t. Jax watches as she gets in a car. What an a-hole this guy is. I hope he dies alone.

It’s the Long Beach Gay Pride parade, and no surprise, Lisa is Grand Marshal. I don’t even think there can be a parade without LVP. Ken does the driving, and Lisa says she feels a lot of love. Everyone is being themselves, and that should be what life is about. Simply, and well put, and I agree. She sees Tom and Ariana, and asks where Schwartz is. He’s in the bathroom. Lisa makes a speech, but we don’t get to hear it. Ken asks about Jax, and Tom says he’s a mess. When he saw him last, he was in the fetal position on the couch. Tom says he loves Brittany, and Lisa says don’t defend him; he’ll look ridiculous. Tom says at least Jax admitted it. In her interview, Lisa says she’s not enamored of Jax’s eff-ups, and hopes Brittany dumps him. We visit the leather tent. In his interview, Tom says he really doesn’t understand BDS&M, but since they’re going through a dry spell, maybe there’s something to it. He asks Ariana if she thinks it might solve some of their issues, and she discusses exploring it with some dude who I guess is an expert. In her interview, Ariana tells us about some of the problems she and Tom are having, including him wanting to go to karaoke six nights a week, which I find nothing wrong with.

Ariana says when she lived in NYC, Pride Day always fell on her birthday. Lisa asks about Brittany, and Ariana tells her that Brittany is in Vegas. She’s disgusted, and wants to move on. Tom babbles about Jax loving her, and how he can’t help himself. Lisa says Jax has a different definition of love. Don’t tell her, show her. Yep. Take note, mostly men. Tom apologizes about criticizing her part in the restaurant. He says he just wants to get the bullsh*t out of the way. Lisa says show her. In her interview, she says she doesn’t need their expertise or their money. She doesn’t need anything from them, but the feel good factor.

Kristen visits Stassi, and asks if she’s excited for tonight. Stassi says when she started feeling romantic again, she felt like people would judge her for going back to Patrick. Kristen thinks she and Patrick get each other, and wants to start planning the wedding; she loves them together. Patrick comes in. He’s wearing a man bun, which immediately makes me cringe, since Josh from Sweet Home Oklahoma is the only man I’ll accept wearing one. Stassi says she missed their joking and laughing – and his man bun. She says he’s like a warrior; like someone from out of Game of Thrones. Double no, just no.

Brittany goes to work. Ariana says she looks tan and gorgeous. Brittany says Vegas was awesome. Ariana asks how she’s been, but she doesn’t know. She has different feelings. Sometimes she’s sad, sometimes she’s mad, and she’s heartbroken. She said she was going to act single, but everybody grossed her out. Scheana says it’s been six months, and she’s not ready yet, but acts like she is. Brittany says she just wants to be alone, and clear her mind. Everyone is supportive.

In the limo, Patrick says he’s trying to keep everyone happy, and Stassi says she’s trying to keep him happy. He tells her the outfit is helping. She’s wearing a slinky, strapless, low-cut black jumpsuit that looks fantastic on her. They go to a restaurant, and when they order, I almost find it cute that they say the same thing at the same time. Almost. Stassi tells Patrick about talking to Lisa regarding event planning. He asks if she has ideas, and she says she’s watched a million YouTube videos. She says listening to his podcast makes her insecure about hers. She wants him to hear hers, and tell her what she’s doing wrong. He says somehow hers got turned into a juggernaut, then has to explain that word, along with a couple of others he uses. In her interview, Stassi says she’s never been in a dating situation where she wasn’t the smart one.

Patrick tells her that she’s a really good person, batsh*t crazy, and uber talented. He’s taking a trip to Amsterdam, and says it will be a good experience for him. Getting back together taught them a lesson: don’t talk when you’re apart, and when you’re back together, don’t talk about what happened when you were apart. In her interview, Stassi says she wants it to work, but she’s terrified it’s not going to because she wants it so badly. She thinks getting back together is more of an emotional commitment than first time they got together. Patrick says she’s freaking him out. In her interview, Stassi says she’s willing to fight for the relationship.

Jax arrives at SUR for his shift, and asks Tom how Pride was. Tom says he got handcuffed and whipped. He kind of likes it, so Ariana got one. Brittany comes to the bar, and asks Tom for a cocktail, sort of ignoring Jax. Saying nothing, but shooting daggers with her eyes. Jax wants to talk, but not at work. Tom says it’s not a good idea.

Brittany steps away, and Lisa asks how she is. Brittany says it’s a weird situation. She doesn’t know what she’s doing. Lisa tells her that she’s young; sh*t happens

Tom tells Jax it’s not easy all the time. Jax wants to work on it, but says he needs therapy. Tom suggests he make up an overnight bag, get his sh*t together, and get out of the apartment.

Lisa tells Brittany that she has a lot of support. Jax is the only a-hole in the situation. She hopes Brittany has the strength to make the right choices. She tells Brittany that she’ll be fine. Jax says there’s no one better to tell him how to run a relationship. Tom says he put himself in the situation, and now everyone is pissed at him, including him. Brittany’s emotions are like a roller coaster, and she needs time to think. Tom tells him to give her some space. Jax doesn’t think she really wants to leave him, but Tom begs to differ.

Brittany tells the girls that she did something stupid in a moment of weakness. They had sex. I go, arrrgh! out loud. Brittany says she wanted affection. In her interview, she wishes she could stop loving him; it would be easier for her, but she can’t, and she doesn’t know what she’s doing.

Next time, Schwartz apologizes to Lisa and Ken, Stassi throws a party with a Jax piñata, and Lala is back.

😱 A horrifying postscript – Brittany and Jax are back together. He was a guest on Watch What Happens Live tonight. He said he’s “a work in progress.” I’m surprised he didn’t get rotten tomatoes thrown at him.

😊 On the other hand. RelationShep is very sweet. I think Shep is good-hearted, and maybe realizes he doesn’t want to grow old alone. It’s fun watching him travel around too. I especially loved seeing Austin, a place I’d love to visit. In the next phase, several of the girls he’s had dates with will come to Charleston, where they’ll live in the same house, much like The Bachelor. It looks like there will be some drama, but I think Shep deserves to find what he’s looking for. He also gave a couple of good quotes…

The Walking Dead

Rick tries to get someone on the radio, but only gets static.

Rick is on the road with Carl. Carl says it’s not enough. If he cared, he’d do something. It takes more than hope. Carl tells Rick it will be something after the fight’s over, and Rick says not for everyone. Carl asks, what about him?

Rick comes out with Jadis and the Heapsters (sounds like a rock band), and they go to the Sanctuary. There are bodies and zombie bodies everywhere, and it’s a real mess. Tetris Jadis says, not like the picture. Gunfire begins, and the Heapsters jet. Rick ducks behind something. Carol drives up in a car with Jerry. Rick gets in.

On the road (I hate when they flip back and forth like this), Carl says Rick is going to live, and asks why they’re fighting. Because they don’t like the way the Saviors want everyone working for them? He wants something more than just killing other people. Are they just going to kill all of them? Rick says finding a way forward is harder, and something more. That’s how it’s got to be.

We see Rick, Carol, and Carl’s faces. Then Ezekiel, Jerry, and Maggie. And Negan who whistles and laughs, making me smile. Come on. You can’t help but kind of like him. He’s so devil-may-care.

Enid tells Aaron they have to talk to them after coming all this way, right? He tells her that he and Eric used to take trips like this when they were looking for people to take back to Alexandria. She says she’s sorry. She had been thinking about Oceanside, wondering if they’ll talk to them. He says it will be a risk, but they have to convince them. She thinks they should have brought guns. He asks if she wants to drive, and they switch places. She makes an unplanned turn, saying she wants to check something out; give them something they can use. Aaron says they can’t show up empty handed. She drives toward a distillery. Would there really be any booze left after all this time?

Michonne tells Judith she’ll be back soon, and she’ll bring Judith’s daddy back with her. She’s glad Daryl returned. Daryl says they’ll go in tell and them to give up, and they will. She says sorry she couldn’t go with him when he let the zombies in, but he says it’s okay; it worked.

Carl opens an encyclopedia. Tweens everywhere sigh. He looks at a note that says, just survive somehow.

Tara tells Rosita it worked. The walkers are in, and they’ll finish it like they planned. Tara asks if she found any guns. Rosita says nothing heavy, just some grenades. Tara says they can use them to redirect the herd, and Rosita stacks a bunch of crates in her arms.

Enid and Aaron sleep in the car at the distillery. Aaron sees someone, and makes a signal for Enid to be quiet. He gets out with his rifle, and she follows with her gun at the ready. Someone tells them that they shouldn’t have come here, and Enid shoots. A woman says her grandma is dead, and we see Natania on the ground. Aaron and Enid are surrounded by Oceansiders. And they have guns.

Carl messes with a sewer cap, and Michonne asks him what he’s doing, He says he met someone, a traveler. She says, in the sewer? We hear Negan speak through a megaphone, saying he bets they’re wondering why the lookouts didn’t sound the alarm. He’s being polite, and cutting through the cowsh*t. They lose. It’s over. Everyone will have to give an apology, and the one who apologizes last, dies. He kills Rick, and then it’s over. He whistles some more. Michonne can’t believe they got out. Carl tells her to come on, and they drop down into the sewer.

Rick is all shaky. Carol’s face is like steel. Carol and Jerry’s car crashes into something.

Ezekiel sits in his throne room, dejected. He reads a note from someone saying they had to bounce, but I’m not fast enough to see if it’s from Carol or Jerry. He hears a commotion and shooting. He moves quickly, and gets out of there.

Jesus drives with Maggie on the passenger side, and Neil in the backseat. He asks if Maggie thinks they’ll surrender. She says eventually, but not now. Would they give up that quick? She tells him it will be when they run out of food, water, and choices. I’m having difficulty believing they got out of that mess at the Sanctuary. Maggie tells Jesus to slow down; there’s a tree in the road that wasn’t there before. She says, it’s them, and gets on the radio, telling the others to turn around. Too late; they’re trapped.

A truck pulls in front of them. Maggie and I both say, oh sh*t. The back of the truck opens, and Jerry is hauled out. Simon gets out of the cab. He remarks that it’s a damn nice night. I think he’s trying to be like Negan, but IMO falls completely short. A couple of guys lean a crate up against the front of Maggie’s car.

Carol tries to get it together, telling Tara to meet them there. (Where?) Over the megaphone, Negan says they’ll get points for creativity. Tara says they can fight. Carl says they just need to survive tonight. It’s his show, his plan, and they’re all going to do it. They scatter, and Negan says, one minute.

At the Kingdom, Gavin says he didn’t want it to come to this, but they wanted to order off the menu. Now, they have to eat sh*t. He didn’t want to serve it, but the Kingdom and everyone in it belongs to Negan. Moving forward, everything they produce belongs to the Saviors, and they’ll let them hold on to just enough to keep going. All able-bodied men and women will repair and refurbish the Sanctuary. Since they made it a mess, the Saviors will be hanging their hats here.

Simon tells Maggie that due to recent decisions, everything has changed, yet nothing has changed. Everyone needs to hand over their guns. He tells the guy holding Jerry to kill him if anyone tries anything, and that goes for everyone in the cars.

Outside the walls of Alexandria, Negan says Rick brought this on himself. He was willing to work with them. They just had to follow a few simple rules. Now he has to go. Carl appears at the top of the wall, and says Rick isn’t home. Negan tells the Saviors to hold their fire. It’s Carl answering the door like a big boy; he’s proud. He guesses Rick will get back to a smoky surprise, and Carl says there are kids there. Negan says it breaks his heart, but there were kids at the Sanctuary; he must have seen them. There was a baby at the outpost, and he wonders what happened to her. He says none of this sh*t is fair. Hell, he knows that Carl had to kill his own mom. That’s screwed up; ergo, they need someone in charge who’s willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that doesn’t happen, and that’s him. Carl says they can stop it. Negan says Rick gave his people a choice, but not him. They need a new understanding with apologies. Carl tells Negan if he has to kill someone, kill him; he’s serious. Negan asks if he wants to die. He doesn’t, but he will. If him dying can stop it, and make things different for everyone, it’s worth it. He asks Negan if this was the plan, and if it was supposed to be this way. Is this who he wanted to be? Negan thinks this over.

The Alexandrians zoom past in a caravan. Outside the town, Regina tells Dwight they should have had trucks, but he says it will hold. It doesn’t, and the trucks drive right through.

Explosions start happening in Alexandria. Negan tells Carl that he thought they were having a moment. So did I. Carl drops down, grabs his bag, lights some flares, and throws them around. Everything is burning. The church explodes, and a car blows up right next to him.

Simon tells Maggie and company that one person has to answer for this, but he hasn’t found Ezekiel. They should do themselves a favor and cooperate. I swear, if Ezekiel dies in this episode, I’m not watching next season. He says Ezekiel has to be there somewhere. There were rules, and he broke them. If they don’t give him up, this moves into something traumatic (like it’s not already), and he doesn’t want that. He tells them not to make this worse; the kids don’t need to see this sh*t. Simon gets nothing but silence, and says they’ve got five minutes. Then it’s Negan’s way, and it’s on them, not him.

Maggie asks Simon how they got out. Simon gives her three guesses, and says, let’s say they figured it out. Right now, the Kingdom is getting their innards splayed out, and the Saviors are taking possession. The same with Alexandria, as long as they don’t make it complicated. He tells them it’s the farmers’ lucky day. They’ve been chosen to keep producing. He says Gregory made fool out of him, so he’s hoping Maggie is the one to make things right.

Music is heard, and Simon tells Maggie that they need to shift into active listening. Eugene, who he was skeptical of, worked out. He helped get them out of the situation. Now his guys are leading the herd away. It can go one of two ways. One, he can kill the likeable gent on his knees (Jerry), drag them out, and put her in the box, in which she won’t suffocate like their friend Sasha. He’ll take her to Hilltop, gather everyone, and kill her in front of the whole place. After that, they’ll go back to the Sanctuary, and put her on a spike. Then his people will lead the walkers to Hilltop, and they’ll pull same the move they did – unsuccessfully. It will be a pita for everyone concerned. He tells Jesus to go home, water stuff, and save everyone, mostly him, trouble. He has to kill one of their people; then they’re aces.

Simon shoots Neil. He needed Maggie to know he means business. Now tell him he doesn’t have to go down the line. Maggie says she doesn’t need to do it, but wants to ask a favor. She’d like the box to bury Neil in. Simon tells her, favor granted.

Eugene can’t sleep. No surprise. He takes a drink. He actually might be more fun as a drunk. He weeps a little. Maybe not.

Carl wanders around. Is this his plan? Did the plan not work? Wtf is going on? Negan’s people are all over the place. Carl goes onto the porch of a house, and hears something. He runs, as it blows up behind him.  He sees everything burning. He looks exhausted. Buck up, dude, you’re still a teenager. I’d have been long dead by now, with all this jumping off of things.

In the woods next to the road, Tara says the Sanctuary attack was a mistake, but she made one too. Maybe Sasha would still be alive; maybe everything would end up the same way. Maybe they have to play it out to figure it out. Michonne asks where the hell they are. They hear a vehicle approach. Daryl throws flare in the road. Regina tells Dwight to stop the car; he’s leading them into it, and will get them killed. Daryl and the others start shooting, and gunfire goes back and forth. Regina tells Dwight it was him. She shoots him in the arm, but comes short of killing him, since she almost gets shot.

Alexandria continues to burn. Negan laughs. He says the convoy got away, but the kid still has to be there; he’ll go down with the ship. He tells the Saviors to find him, and don’t kill him. Blow up the houses. He’s going to Rick’s house to make spaghetti. Send Carl his way when he’s found.

A few of the Savior’s see Carl, but he lights more flares, and the smoke blurs their vision. He drops into the sewer.

Eugene tells Gabriel that Dr. Carson is capable of returning to Hilltop, but he’ll die en route. Dr. Carson asks what’s going on, and Eugene says Gabriel told him that Maggie will need his services for the birth. He tells them the guard at the north gate isn’t there. What they choose to do with this information is up to them. Gabriel asks if Eugene killed him, and Eugene explains that he gave him medically induced diarrhea via his coffee, and he’s “catastrophically crapping his khakis” right now. Gabriel asks why he changed his mind, and he says he couldn’t sleep. Gabriel says it’s not too late, and to come with them; they’ll take him back. I wouldn’t be too sure about that. He says he shan’t be doing that, and oops! he dropped the keys to a vehicle parked outside the unguarded gate. Gabriel tells him that he’s doing the right thing. Eugene says that assessment is relative, and Gabriel says no, it isn’t.

Ezekiel pours a line of gas, leading away from quite a few barrels of it, and sets it on fire. The whole thing blows up. He drives a bus through to the Kingdom. One of the Saviors says they need him alive. Carol asks one of the Kingdom people where Ezekiel is, and says to go to her house outside the Kingdom, and meet her there. As Carol gets to Ezekiel, he closes the gate, telling her that he can save them. Someone knocks him out from behind. I’m worried, since he’s a guest on Talking Dead tonight.

Maggie goes back to Hilltop, where the Saviors have been rounded up. Gregory says she knows he doesn’t belong here, and she tells him to shut up. She points to Dean, and says, that one, and tells them to get him out. Gregory is like, aw, man. She asks one of the guys for his gun. They bring Dean out, and Savior Al says, don’t do this. Dean, calls her cupcake, and says if she wants to put on a show, let her. She shoots him. It was probably the cupcake reference. She asks if Al wants to be next. He doesn’t. Maggie says they aren’t even, but it’s a start. She tells them to start fortifying the walls, and bury Neil. Jesus says he thought they weren’t giving up. She says they’re under attack; no more supplies are going in. They have to make a last stand.

Dwight shouts to Daryl and the others that it’s over. He made sure they could get back. He made the convoy come to the roadblock; he knew what it was. Now he can’t go back. Daryl asks how they escaped, and Dwight outs Eugene. He says he can still help them. He knows how the Saviors work, and knows how Negan thinks. He wants them to win, and wants Negan to die. Michonne says they need to get back now, and Enid helps Dwight up.

Maggie writes on the box. We have 38 more. Stand down.

Negan tells Ezekiel they had a good thing going. He felt bad for the kid. He didn’t want that, now more people have to die. Morgan slips around the back. Negan says he liked Ezekiel. Now his people are going to see their king is dead. Morgan stands outside, listening.

Daryl throws a rock into the sewer. Why? I have no clue. Everyone begins their descent. Dwight tells Michonne that he’s sorry. Michonne hesitates before going down. She watches some zombies sauntering around, and shuts the sewer cap.

Hey, it’s Rick. Where has he been? He goes to his house, calling for Carl, Michonne, and Judith. In response, he gets conked in the head by Negan, who says, sh*t isn’t funny anymore. Don’t make him do this. He says he has plans to cut Rick up in little pieces, then when he’s just a creepy stump with a head, he’s going to kill him in front of everyone. Rick asks if he ever shuts the hell up, and Negan tells him, no. He says Rick’s kid volunteered to die, and asks what kind of boy he raised. He tells Rick that he’s going to fix Carl. In a few years, Carl is going to be his own. They start to fight, and Negan says when he’s done with Rick, no one will try what he did ever again. Rick grabs Lucille, and gets a whack at Negan, who tells him not to touch her. He grabs Lucille back, and Rick snatches his gun from under the table. Before he can shoot Negan, Negan pushes him back, and they both go through the window. Rick takes off, and Negan says, sh*t

Michonne slices the top of a zombie’s head off. She looks very determined. A Savior grabs her, and says they’re all dead, and it’s her fault. Well, she’s the one with the big sword, so he dies. She spears him through the forehead, and then won’t stop hacking at him. Rick finds her, and asks where everyone is, but she can’t even speak.

They go through the sewer tunnel, and see the others. Judith is there.

We see the faces of Maggie and Jesus; Rick walking through the sewer, and seeing the others; Carol; Ezekiel, still smiling; and Morgan. Rick sees Dwight. Then we see Eugene’s face, Gabriel, and Saddiq. Carl tells Rick that Saddiq brought him there. Carl seems kind of out of it. Uh-oh. Carl got bit. He shows Rick his wound. When did that happen? Michonne falls to her knees. Tweens everywhere cry, but think he’d make a cute zombie.

We pan out on Carl through the long lens of the sewer tunnel.

As Negan would say, well sh*t.

Next time – February 25th – Dwight says they’re still out there looking, Ezekiel is still alive, the last stand is made, and Negan and Rick make love. Just kidding. And while I’m throwing ideas out there, why doesn’t Eugene put himself to real use, and invent a cure?

💍 On 90 Day Fiancé, it looks like there’s one down already. Molly called it quits with Luis, and rightly so. Very disappointing. The preview for next week showed her still toying with going through with it, but I doubt it’s happening. I hope not. He’s callous and a little strange.

🔬 AMC will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Breaking Bad, with a marathon of the whole thing. It starts December 31st, and runs through the weekends in January. If you haven’t seen this show, check it out. Or watch it fresh if you have. The writing and acting are incredible, and there are many sardonic laughs along the way. The story actually has an ending too. Chemistry teacher turns meth lab king, starring Bryan Cranston. What’s not to like?

What I Watched Today

I was hoping to recap Z Nation, but wanted to cry when it wasn’t On Demand yet. Usually it is the day after it airs. Hopefully, it will show up before the next episode. BTW, there’s no news of it being renewed yet, so if you love it as much as I do, let the SyFy channel know.

Once Upon a Time

A carriage is driven through the forest. Rapunzel is driving, with her husband Marcus and their two daughters in the back. She says she always finds a way for her family. She steps out and goes through a gate. She stoops to gather up some radishes from a garden, and a cloaked figure appears, asking who dares to pick something from Gothel’s garden? and the radishes disappear from her hands. She tells Gothel that her husband is sick, and her children haven’t eaten in two days. Gothel says many come to try and steal her magic, but she’s selflessly risking Gothel’s ire for radishes. It’s rare to find a flower growing amongst the weeds of human nature. Rapunzel says she’ll meant no disrespect and will make payments. Gothel asks what she’ll sacrifice for her family, and Rapunzel says anything. Gothel says they have a deal. Suddenly, thorny vines wrap around and dig into Rapunzel’s wrists, then disappear.

Rapunzel finds herself in a tower with no way out. She tells Gothel that she didn’t agree to this. Gothel says she swore to pay the price for her family’s happiness, and there’s a difference between hers and theirs. Rapunzel says they’ll look for her, but Gothel says they’ll never find her. Rapunzel yells out the window, but the tower is in the middle of a dense forest, and like in Alien, no one can hear her scream.

In the kind of real world, Victoria is in the visitor room at the jail, looking at the scars on her wrists. Ivy/Drizella walks in, and tells her orange looks better on the women in the Netflix show. Victoria says her wardrobe has something in common with Ivy; she’s been stuck with what’s been thrust upon her. She asks why Ivy is there. Ivy says Victoria has taken a family heirloom from her, and Victoria asks if she means Anastasia’s body. She knows Ivy wants the magic within her, and says they both know what she wants to do. Ivy tells Victoria that she has all her assets now, and telling her where Anastasia is, is the only way to get out of jail. Victoria says she doesn’t need Ivy to get her out. Ivy says she’ll find Anastasia herself. She has Gothel helping her now. Victoria says she always gravitated toward any mother figure she could, and asks if someone didn’t get enough hugs. Ivy tells her have fun in prison. Victoria says it’s not the first time someone tried to lock her up, but they learned the lesson that when it comes to her family, she always finds a way. Apparently, she’s the wicked stepmother and Rapunzel.

Lucy asks Jacinda if they can invite Henry over to share the good news that she’s back for good. Jacinda says they’ll talk about it tomorrow, and to get ready for school. Sabine tells Jacinda that Lucy keeps trying to parent trap her. Jacinda says she went to Roni’s to see if she and Henry could work things out, but he’d left for San Francisco with Roni. The bartender was vague about the details, only saying that Roni needed a ride.

Weaver visits Victoria. She says she’s missed their talks. He asks if she enjoyed the talk with her daughter, but Victoria says not since she was four. He says given her current situation, she has little to offer. She tells him she needs help getting to Anastasia, and asks why he’s pretending not to be concerned that Gothel is out of the tower. Weaver doesn’t understand what her nonsense means. She talks about all the knickknacks he’s been collecting, the great love he’s been separated from, and the dagger he can’t get rid of. She asks how the search for the Guardian is going, and says if he helps her today, she’ll share some information with him. She calls him Rumpelstiltskin, and he tells her she has a deal.

In the tower, Rapunzel ticks off the days as her hair grows longer. She sees lanterns floating in the sky outside her window, and gets a scathingly brilliant idea. She anchors her hair, and tells herself to be brave as she climbs out the window.

In Hyperion Heights, Rogers asks Victoria how she got out. She tells him determination. She didn’t get where she is by waiting for others to improve her odds. He tells her that he didn’t ask for a TED talk; he wants to know how she beat the charges. Weaver comes out of the station, and tells Rogers it’s his doing; he didn’t get a warrant. Rogers says there was immediate danger, but Weaver says the judge didn’t see it that way. Rogers knows Weaver is getting something out of this, and he’s going to find out what. Weaver suggests he not cross him. He gets in the car with Victoria, and she says she needs some things to wake her daughter. They have a few stops to make.

Victoria goes to Jacinda’s place. Sabine says a fugitive is here, and Victoria says she’s a free woman. She’s there about her long-standing agreement with Jacinda. Jacinda says she’s not getting Lucy back, and Victoria says she’s there to do the opposite. She’s removing all claims to her granddaughter. Sabine asks what the catch is, and Victoria says there is none. She was testing Jacinda by asking her to sign Lucy over, and she failed, but now she’s passed. She reached out to Nick, and she’s glad he’s back in Jacinda’s life. Jacinda wants to know where this is coming from, and Victoria says she was forced to think about what’s important, and it’s Lucy’s happiness. She gives Jacinda a doll Lucy is fond of, and says family is worth fighting for.

To confuse me even more, young Anastasia is the one sending up the lanterns in front of her home in the enchanted forest. Her sister Drizella says it’s been six years, but Anastasia says she’s not giving up on their mother, and something feels different about tonight. Rapunzel walks out of the woods, and Anastasia hugs her. Marcus comes out, and says he thought she was dead; all he found was her tattered cloak. She says it was a trick. She’d promised Gothel anything for her family to thrive, and was locked away in a tower. Another girl comes out, calling him father, and he tells Ella to go back inside. He tells Rapunzel that she’s his stepdaughter, and introduces her to his wife, Cecilia.

In the present, Gothel tells Ivy that her mother’s entanglement with Rumpelstiltskin is going to prove meddlesome. Ivy says she can team up with the Seven Dwarves for all she cares. If they follow her, she’ll lead them to Anastasia. Gothel tells her it’s a mistake to underestimate Victoria. Ivy asks if she’s speaking from experience. In her experience, her mother always takes wrong path and made poor choices because of it. Now she has to deal with her.

In the fairytale world, Rapunzel pours tea for her daughters. Anastasia says they came for her company, but Drizella says she’s thirsty. Marcus arrives, and asks if they’re ready to head back to the manor. He needs to speak with Rapunzel, and they go inside. He tells her the girls love her. Anastasia speaks about her constantly. Rapunzel says Drizella seems more distant by the day, and he says to give her time; she was very young when Rapunzel left. He takes her old cloak out of his bag, saying he mended it. She’s surprised he kept it. He places it around her shoulders, and says if she hadn’t made the deal, he would most likely be dead and the girls would be in the street. The family owes all their happiness to her. She asks if he still loves her, and he says of course. The girls mean everything to him, but so does Ella and Cecilia. I guess bigamy isn’t against the law in the world of fairytales.

He leaves, and Gothel appears, telling Rapunzel that she’s too strong for tears. Rapunzel thinks Gothel is there to put her back in the tower, but Gothel says no; she admires her resourcefulness in escaping. She knew Rapunzel would escape, and is curious to see if she’ll sacrifice someone else’s happiness for hers. She gives Rapunzel a cartoonish mushroom, something she picked up in Wonderland. She tells Rapunzel to squeeze it into Cecilia’s drink when she least expects it. She can make her go away, and have her family back. Rapunzel throws it into the fire, and says she’s not the kind of person to harm an innocent. Gothel says maybe she’ll find other happiness, but if not, she might come to see it her way. Another mushroom materializes.

Back in Washington state, Nick looks over the papers, and tells Jacinda that Lucy is hers. It’s finally over. She’s glad she called him. She owes him a future life. He kisses her, and she’s like, whoa, and says didn’t want to do this. Nick says he must have misread the signs, and Lucinda says it’s not about him. She’s glad he’s back in their lives, and wants him to have a relationship with Lucy. He says him too, and leaves. Jacinda picks up the mix tape that Henry gave her.

Rogers pulls a fire alarm, and goes into what looks like an evidence room. He sees his Captain Hook hook in a plastic bag, and looks puzzled. He finds a box of folders regarding all of the players in this story. He wonders what Weaver is doing.

Rogers sees Sabine at the food truck, and is impressed at how spiffed up it is. Sabine says they’re nearly ready for the big ball. He tells her that he’s following up on the fire, and she says Weaver already did. He says they need more details, but he didn’t want to bother Weaver on his day off. He asks what she and Weaver spoke about, and Sabine says he told her about how the door was jimmied with a knife he found in the dumpster. Rogers asks if she can describe it, and she draws him a picture of the dagger. She says it didn’t look like something you’d break in with; more like something out of a Tim Burton movie. She tells Rogers that Weaver kept shoving it in her hand, asking if felt anything. She asks what this is about. He says he doesn’t know, but he’s going to find out

Victoria and Weaver go to a mausoleum. He tells her they’ve been followed since they left the police station. She’s aware of it, but not concerned; she has a plan for those two. They open a vault, and Victoria takes out a huge purse, saying it has everything she needs to wake Anastasia. Weaver finds it odd that she wants to reunite with one daughter, when the other waits outside. He had a son who thought as little of him as Ivy does of her, but he never stopped trying to make things right. She says good for him, and he tells her that he ended up losing his son. She tells him not to compare his grief to hers. He has no idea what she’s been through. He says he knows what it’s like to seek reunion, and the costs involved. He paid them, and then his son did. She tells him that she can’t stop now that she finally has a way. He asks where the information is that she promised. Victoria says he’ll get it when Anastasia is awake. As for Ivy, she hasn’t been her daughter for long time.

Back in the day, It’s Drizella’s birthday party. Rapunzel is serving, and Cecilia approaches her, telling her it’s her daughter’s birthday; she should be celebrating, not working. Cecilia wanders off, and Marcus tells Rapunzel the girls get along; maybe the parents should take a cue from them. He says the girls need her, and she says Drizella didn’t even smile at her gift. She sees Drizella getting all excited about Cecilia’s present.

Inside the house, Rapunzel smashes a mirror, and sees the mushroom. She takes it, and squeezes it into a lemonade.

Fast forwarding, Drizella and Gothel go into the mausoleum, but see only Weaver. Drizella asks where Victoria is, and he says long gone. They need to learn how to tail someone better. Gothel wants a moment with Weaver. When Drizella is gone, he wonders how she bought into Gothel’s mother routine; she’s not a mother to anyone. She says mother means different things to different people. She tends to their needs like she can with his. She never thought she’d see a pout on the Dark One, or love in his heart. He says there’s always a time for firsts, and she asks how Belle is. He tells her don’t dare say her name, and she remarks that she struck a nerve. He’s never getting back to her unless she helps him. He says he doesn’t need her help, and Victoria is going to wake Anastasia. Gothel says whatever role she’s assuming today, Victoria neglected to ask the cost, and the cost is the loss of an innocent’s belief. She asks if he has any idea where his great granddaughter is.

Lucy sees Victoria at school. She wants to give her something, and takes the Once Upon a Time book out of her bag. She tells Lucy that she was right. Fairytales are real; her family and belief are all real, but she doesn’t know the whole story. Victoria tells Lucy to come with her, and she’ll tell her the rest.

Lucy is surprised to find out that Victoria is Rapunzel as well as Lady Tremaine. Me too. Victoria says Marcus’s last name was Tremaine, and she took it from him. Lucy says she knew her mom was Cinderella, and Victoria says her unfettered belief is what makes her special. Lucy sees an illustration of Rapunzel using the mushroom, and is shocked that she poisoned her mom’s mom. Victoria says the witch tricked her. She needed her family to be together again. Lucy asks if Cecilia died, and Victoria says no; she could never do that. It only caused her to flee. She didn’t know Marcus would chase after her. Eventually, the family was reunited, and they even welcomed Ella in, but the story didn’t end there.

It’s winter in the enchanted forest. Rapunzel and Marcus watch as the girls build a snowman. Rapunzel says the three seem like sisters. Marcus says he’s been thinking about how much she’s done for the family. The snowman’s hat blows away, and Ella chases after it onto a frozen lake. Anastasia follows her. Their parents are too busy making googly eyes at one another to notice. Marcus tells Rapunzel it’s time he did something to show how much he cares. The ice cracks, and the sisters fall in. Marcus goes after them, diving into the hole they fell through. He pulls out Ella. Rapunzel screams, where’s their daughter? He says he could only grab one.

In modern times, Anastasia is in the hospital on life support. Lucy asks why Victoria is showing her this, and Victoria wants her to see how the world really is, even for the people in the book. She only did what heroes would do. She sacrificed everything for her family, and only got pain in return. Fairytales are real, but happy endings aren’t. Lucy says happy endings are real if you work for them. She believes her family will be together again, and Victoria isn’t a part of her family. Victoria says she believed it too, for far too long; it’s already too late. She shows Lucy her phone, where she has a video of Nick kissing Jacinda. She says Henry means nothing to her. Lucy cries, and Victoria says their stories are the same. They’re separated from those they love, and willing to do whatever it takes to get their families back. Henry has already left town. She tells Lucy that when you’re betrayed by people, you must let them go. She says it’s time to let her belief go. Lucy closes her eyes, and a tear falls on the book. She runs out of the room. By the look on Victoria’s face, I’m guessing a tear is what she needed.

In the old fairytale days, Rapunzel brings Anastasia to Gothel, who says as long as her last breath is in her, she hangs between life and death. Gratitude alone is not enough to wake her though. Anastasia will be going to the tower. Rapunzel says she’s done nothing wrong, and Gothel says it’s not a punishment; it’s a test. She needs a Guardian. When Rapunzel sacrificed everything for her family, Gothel thought she had potential, but she couldn’t resist the temptation to harm an innocent. Perhaps someone else will do better. Rapunzel says if Anastasia is in the tower, she’ll scale it brick by brick. Gothel says she’s made improvements, and there’s magic to prevent any escapes. She checks her pockets for something, and Rapunzel holds up a vial. She says Gothel taught her, when they least expect it. She throws the vial on the ground in front of Gothel, and Gothel disappears, poof! in a cloud of black smoke. Rapunzel tells Anastasia that she’ll bring her back.

In the modern-day hospital, Victoria takes the tear off the book with and eyedropper.

Out on the street, Weaver asks an officer if she’s seen any sign of Lucy. The officer gives him a backpack they found. She asks if he’s sure they shouldn’t contact her mother. He tells her to just keep searching, and remember to report directly to him. Rogers comes by, and shows Weaver the picture Sabine drew of the sword. He asks who Weaver is looking for. Weaver says that’s his business, and to stay out of it. Rogers says he’s been in Weaver’s locker, and he has files on half the town. He can’t tell if Weaver is a dirty cop, or the best one he knows. One minute, he’s talking in riddles, and the next, he’s shutting Rogers out. He can’t shake the feeling that Weaver is trying to tell him something, so just spit it out. Weaver says he’s looking for someone, like Rogers is. Rogers asks what Victoria has to do with it, and Weaver says he thought she could help him, but he was wrong. It’s hard to put into words, but he’s been separated from his wife, Belle. He’d do anything to get to her, and this is in service to that. Rogers believes him, and asks what he can do to help. Weaver says tonight they have to find Lucy.

Victoria approaches Anastasia’s bed with the eyedropper.

Lucy goes home, and Jacinda asks what’s wrong?

Victoria drips the tear onto Anastasia’s forehead. Her eyes open.

Lucy keels over.

Anastasia asks what happened, and Victoria says she saved her. When it comes to her family, she always finds a way. Ivy looks through the window, and walks away with tears in her eyes.

Next time, the winter finale – someone wicked returns, Regina suggests fighting witches with witches, and the first strike ignites a war.

💍 Will Anyone Get Married?

Re 90-Day Fiancé – still working on my monthly dissertation, but it looks doubtful that any of them are making it to the altar. David turned out to be an obnoxious drunk; Luis (who held such promise) didn’t realize that when you marry a woman with children, the children come with the deal; Andrei is a control freak; the guy half of the couple whose names I don’t remember argues with her over wedding plans and refuses to talk about sex (they’re both virgins); and Azan and Nicole are a no, just no. I have a bit of a busy evening – why, oh why, are they always on Friday? – and will catch up with Z Nation tomorrow for sure, and maybe Once Upon a Time. If there’s time.

General Hospital

Jason kicks in the door. It’s Britt! She tells him not to shoot.

Carly puts toys in for donation at the hospital Toys for Tots bin. She sees Kim, who tells her she’s working there now. Carly says the toy donations cheered her up, and Kim asks if everything is okay. Carly says her best friend is back but the situation with Drew and Jason is a mess. Kim says she must have heard that Drew was arrested this morning

Drew is out, and Sam hugs him

Josslyn gets the test results. Oscar tells her to wait. He says he saw Drew on the footbridge, and they were like strangers, so he probably is. Josslyn says there’s one way to know for sure. He asks if she would be mad if he wanted to delete the results instead.

Michael suggests Nelle start fresh somewhere else. She asks how she can when she’s carrying his child. He tells her not to make up another lie. She’s not pregnant; she’s desperate. She says she’s both.

Jason tells Sonny one room has her stuff, and the other is empty. Britt says her father is gone. Sonny asks when she last saw him, and she says a few hours ago. He said they had to move on, and she told him to go without her; she’s tired of running. She asks how Spencer is, but Sonny is still angry about her part in his kidnapping. She says it was one mistake. He tells her to turn it around, and tell them what they need to know.

Drew tells Sam that in light of his service record and corroborating testimony, they’re going to resurrect his discharge. She says someone is finally reasonable and rational. He tells her not at first, and wonders what she and her mom did. She says it wasn’t all them. Everyone looked at her like she’d been watching too much sci-fi when she told them about the memory mapping. Drew asks what else happened, and she says Jason spoke on his behalf. Jason is the reason he’s free.

Elizabeth and Franco discuss Santa. He says the jury is out on him. This year, he wants marry her on Christmas, and make all his Christmas wishes come true.

Kim tells Carly that she went to talk to Drew about the stunt Oscar and Josslyn pulled. Carly says it was probably Josslyn’s idea, and she’s lost privileges. Kim thinks it was more like 50/50. She tells Carly that when they were talking the Master of Arms showed up, and arrested him for desertion. Carly says It doesn’t make sense; he had a distinguished service record, and just vanished. Kim asks if she thinks he was abducted. She says she knows it; Jason was.

Oscar tells Josslyn that he’ll pay her back. She says that’s not a problem, but she thought he wanted to find his father. He says maybe he doesn’t want to know. His mom has gone his entire life without telling him, and maybe there’s a reason.

Michael tells Nelle the timing is convenient. She says convenient or not, it’s the truth. He asks if she took a test, and remarks that the last time they slept together was in October. She says she’s about six weeks pregnant. He says that’s if she’s pregnant, and if he’s the father.

Sonny asks if Britt knows Jason, and she says they met briefly. She did exam on his little boy when he came back. He asks how much she knows about what her father did to Jason, and she says nothing. He thinks that seems odd, since she traveled with him. Jason had been held captive, and switched with his own twin. Britt asks if when Sonny does something criminal, if he tells his daughter. Sonny says she might have overheard something. Jason tells her about Danny teaching the dog tricks, and how he lives with a man who isn’t his father. Her father did that, and he needs to know why.

Drew asks how Jason got involved, and Sam says she called him. The story was so crazy, it had to be proven. He looks like the photo in Drew’s Naval folder, and his life was documented until 2012. It seemed to be enough that he explained what happened to him, and what he thinks happened to Drew. She tells him to relax. He could be on his way to military prison, but instead he’s with her.

Oscar tells Josslyn that going behind his mom’s back is kind of a violation of privacy. Josslyn says he has the legal right to know, but he thinks he should give her one more chance to explain.

Carly gets off the phone, and tells Kim that Drew was released with no criminal charges. She thanks her for being helpful in clearing things up. She gave them a place to start looking. Kim says it looks like it worked out better for Jason, but Carly says not really. He lost so much, and everyone assumes he’ll be okay. She sees Franco and Elizabeth, and says case in point. Kim mentions that they just got engaged.

Carly stomps over, saying she heard something she can’t believe; they’re engaged. Elizabeth confirms that. Carly says she has no room to judge, since she once agreed to marry him, but she didn’t go through with it. Franco says that’s revisionist history; he dumped her. She says she thought he was her last link to Jason; what’s Elizabeth’s excuse, and what is she telling her kids? Elizabeth says the boys love him too. Carly tells her they’re too young to understand. What about when they find out, and what is she going to say to Jason about how the man who sexually assaulted his wife now being Jake’s stepfather? She thanks God that Sonny made her see that it would have been her worst mistake, and prays someone does the same for Elizabeth. She stomps back to Kim. Elizabeth tells Franco that she’s wrong about everything, especially him.

Kim tells Carly, sorry. Carly says Jason is her best friend, and Franco set out to destroy him. Now he’s going to marry the mother of one of Jason’s kids.

Michael says if Nelle can drug his father and convince him that she slept with him, she can fake a pregnancy, or get pregnant and try to pass it off as his. He wants to see a test conducted by a medical professional, and tells her, let’s get started.

Jason explains about his twin brother to Britt. He went AWOL in July of 2012, same year her father shot him and he disappeared. He was taken to Andre, who imprinted his memories on Drew. Drew was sent to Helena, and then to a clinic where he escaped. She says she knows about him being Jake Doe, and that he helped her father escape from the police. Sonny asks if that was always the plan.

In the park, Sam tells Drew that she wasn’t going to let the Navy take him away. He says he wants to be there for Scout’s first Christmas. Sam says he will. Elizabeth and Franco arrive with Jake. Jake tells them that he asked Santa for a fishing rod. He wants to go fishing again with Drew, like they did last summer. It was the best with just the two of them. He asks if he can have some money to win a stuffed animal for Scout. He runs off, and Sam asks Elizabeth if that’s an engagement ring. Franco says he doesn’t expect them to be happy, but say what they need to before Jake gets back. Drew says he’s not Jake’s father, so he doesn’t have a vote.

Carly explains to Kim that Jason is Jake’s father. Drew spent the last two years thinking Jake was his son. Jason hates Franco, and he’s going to do what he thinks is right regardless of the consequences. Kim has to see a patient, but thanks her for the history lesson. Carly messes with the toys some more. Josslyn and Oscar round the corner, and Josslyn asks what Carly is doing there. Carly asks what Josslyn is doing there.

Kim sees Michael, who thanks her for seeing Nelle on short notice. Nelle told him that she’s pregnant with his child, and he told her to prove it. He knows she can’t disclose medical information without permission, but wanted her to know the circumstances. She goes in to see Nelle. Nelle acts like she and her boyfriend are both happy about it, and just wanted to make extra sure, even though she took an EPT.

Elizabeth says she hasn’t told Jake that Drew isn’t his father; she thought they should tell him together. She doesn’t feel that there’s any hurry, and Franco thinks they should let him enjoy Christmas. Drew says it’s public knowledge; it’s out there. He’s drew, not Jason, and they don’t want Jake to find out from someone else. They need to try and help him understand and get through it. Jake comes back sans stuffed toy, and says the game hard, but he knows they can win. Drew says they will in a minute, but they need to have a talk. He asks if he’s in trouble, but Drew tells him no, and it’s nothing they can’t work out. They step away.

Sam asks if Franco is really worried about Christmas, or that Jason will tell truth about what he did. He tells her he decided not to press charges, and she should be thanking him. Sam says he didn’t want a trial, with her and Michael telling everyone what happened. He’d thought they’d arrived at truce, but she says he thought wrong. He might not be legally responsible, but she’ll carry the scars for the rest of her life. Jason lived it too, and he’s not done with him. Franco says it sounds like she’s not done with Jason either.

Jason asks Britt if Drew was put in Port Charles as a sleeper agent. She says there seemed to be an arrangement between her father and Helena, but he didn’t talk to her about it. Jason says he was deliberately shot when they already had Drew. Why weren’t the memories transferred the other way around? She says she doesn’t know, but he says she knows something, and needs to tell them.

Franco tells Sam that she wasn’t surprised when they made the announcement about who was jJason. She knew, and just pretended to be standing by Drew. Maybe she’s just counting the days until she can run back into Jason’s. Sam says maybe he’s hoping to marry Elizabeth before she runs to Jason herself.

Elizabeth explains to Jake that Drew had a brother who he was separated from at Birth. One grew up in Port Charles, and was Jason, his biological father. Jake says he knows; he’s right here. Drew says the thing no one realized, but Jason is his twin. He’s Drew, which makes him Jake’s uncle. Jake gets upset, saying it’s a mistake. Elizabeth knows it’s confusing. He says he’s not confused, and Drew isn’t his uncle; he’s his dad. Drew asks Jake to hear him out. He feels like his father, and Jake will always be his son. It’s tough, but they’re tough, and will face it. Jason is also his father. Jake says he doesn’t want him, and doesn’t need another dad; just him.

Carly tells Josslyn they had an agreement. Josslyn says, sorry, and Carly asks if she’s sorry got caught, or sorry she did it. She limits her own options, and Carly can’t trust her to make good choices. Oscar says his fault.

Kim tells Nelle and Michael that Nelle is approximately six weeks pregnant. She gives Nelle pre-natal instructions, and leaves. Nelle asks Michael is he’s going to apologize for doubting her.

Drew knows it’s hard, but have to face it, and there will be changes. Jake asks how, but he’s not sure. He doesn’t know anything about Jason or what he wants or plans to do. Elizabeth knows Jason wants him to be okay, and they’ll take it a step at a time, do their best to communicate and listen, and figure it out together. Drew tells Jake to remember he’ll always have him, and he’ll always be in his life. Jake says he’ll always be his dad. Elizabeth thinks it’s enough for him for now, and they go back.

Franco asks if everything is okay, but Drew says not really. Jake asks Sam if this means new old Jason is Danny’s dad too. She tells him, yes, and he asks what about Scout? She says that Drew is Scout’s biological father, and Jake asks if that means she’s not his sister anymore. Drew says she’ll always be his sister. He tells Jake to do him a favor and win his baby sister a stuffed polar bear. Jake hugs him, and they exchange I love yous.

Jason tells Britt that the Navy was going to arrest Drew for desertion, but it was cleared it up. Sonny says Drew doesn’t remember his own life, and is holding on to Jason’s; living with Jason’s wife, raising his children, and bought a company with Jason’s money. Faison sent Drew to Cassadine Island; where did he send Jason? Jason says he woke up in a clinic, missing four and a half years. Britt says she doesn’t know and can’t tell them anything. Jason says she does  know something; he can see it in her eyes. Whatever it is, she’s got to tell him. She says what’s the point? He can’t get the years back. He says maybe he can protect his family from her father. She says her father doesn’t care about him. Up until a month ago, he thought Jason was dead.

Elizabeth tells Franco that everyone involved loves Jake, especially Jason. They’re history has nothing o do with Jake. Franco hopes she’s right, and she asks him to trust her; everything will work out. He asks her to please marry him on Christmas.

Oscar explains to Carly that they were doing their homework, and he wanted to talk to his mom about something, and asked her to come. Joslyn says she should have asked, and she’ll go straight home after this, but would like to stay in case Oscar needs her. Carly tells her one hour, and no matter what her part is in the mystery research, it’s over after this. Oscar is on his own. Carly heaves a Jason sigh.

Wait for it…

Carly sees Michael with Nelle. He says he has important news. Nelle smiles.

Drew tells Scout as lost as he is, with everything he doesn’t know, at least she’s his; made out of love, and no one can take it away from him or her. Sam brings some presents down. He tells Sam that she’s going to have to tell Danny, and she says it’s going to be fine. He doesn’t think Jake is. Sam says he has to realize he’s not losing Drew. She doubts Jason is going to take it away. Drew says sometimes when she says Jason’s name, part of him feels like she’s talking about him. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Kim.

Sonny asks why Britt’s father thinks Jason is dead. Dr. Klein and his gunmen followed him back. She says they weren’t working for her father. When Jason dropped in from the skylight, the story went viral, and he was furious, saying Jason was supposed to be dead; the traitor crossed him. Whoever was supposed to kill Jason didn’t do it. Jason says that explains why Klein wanted him, and Sonny says he was working for the traitor. Jason asks if Faison was there to look for the traitor, and she thinks so. But something spooked him, and he left. Jason says the traitor could still be there.

Elizabeth says no matter how much loves Franco, Christmas is about the kids. She doesn’t want to be worrying about her dress. She wants Christmas to be special, and wants the wedding to be special too. She tells him soon. January; February at the latest. Jake comes running to them with a stuffed polar bear. He and Franco high-five.

Nelle says they’re happy she’s here. They just got news. She knew, but Michael insisted she take the test. Michael confirms Nelle is pregnant, and Nelle tells Carly, congratulations, grandma. Ha-ha!

Oscar says his mom left, and Josslyn asks what he wants to do. He says he has to find out tonight. She tells him she can forward the results, and he can open them when he wants or delete them. He says no, he wants her to be with him, and wants to do it now, but not here. They need to find somewhere quiet.

Drew lets Kim in, and she apologizes for just showing up. Sam takes Scout upstairs. Drew asks if it’s about Oscar, and she says in a way. She asks if everything is okay, and he tells her there’s still some paperwork, but he’s no longer AWOL. She knows he doesn’t remember, but he was proud of his service and being a SEAL. He asks how well she knew him. She says she didn’t know him long, but their time together was pretty intense. She got pregnant, and Oscar is his son.

On Monday, Cassandra says she and Finn can help each other, Michael tells Nelle to prove it’s his child, and Kim tells Drew it’s up to him what happens.

December 7, 2017 – Jason Goes to Bat for Ex-Jason, In Agreement & a Plug

General Hospital

Michael reminisces about having custody of Avery, telling Nelle it was a dark time, but when she smiled, his problems vanished. Nelle starts talking about working with kids, but they suddenly notice a smell. Lulu and Maxie approach. Michael suggests a shower. Maxie says they can wash off their stink, but the stench of treachery never fades.

Franco puts romance in the air at the art therapy room, and closes the blinds. Elizabeth comes in, and he says, surprise! He didn’t have a lot of time to prepare, and she asks for what. He takes out a ring, and tells her how spectacular she is, and what he loves about her, including her perfect flaws. He loved that she asked him to marry her, and he loves her. He gets down on one knee, and asks her to marry him. She says no. Just kidding. It’s a yes.

Drew sees Andre being put in a cell across from him (from another cell?). Andre says he’s so sorry, and asks if he prefers drew or Andrew. Drew says he didn’t even know his name until Andre confessed. Now the Navy is charging him with desertion, and he didn’t know he was SEAL. Andre sat back and watched him live a lie. Andre admits he did, and Drew says if bars weren’t between them, he’d kill him.

Alexis tells Sam the injunction is only temporary. The lawyer might have talked to the judge by now. Sam says maybe they should change tactics, and Alexis suggests calling other counsel with more knowledge of military law. Sam says she knows who can help Drew.

Jason tells Sonny that Obrecht bought a burner phone after they spoke with her, and Spinelli is tracing a call she made. Jason’s phone rings, and it’s Sam. She needs his help. He asks where she is, and she tells him the police station. He asks if he should call Diane, but she says it has to be him. Jason tells her that he’ll be right there. Sonny says some things never change, and asks if he needs back up. He doesn’t, so Sonny tells him good luck.

Sam tells Alexis that Jason is on the way. Alexis noticed she didn’t tell him it involved Drew. Does she think he’ll say something in Drew’s defense? Sam knows he will, but Alexis says he’s nothing if not pragmatic. He may see it as a chance to get rid of Drew. She doesn’t think they can count on Jason, and is going to make some calls.

Andre knows it’s no comfort to Drew, but he invented memory mapping to help those ravaged by dementia and Alzheimer’s, hoping to restore their memories and sense of self. Drew says Andre took his life away, and essentially made him a different man. He thought he was Jason Morgan. He had Jason’s friends, Jason’s sons were his, and Jason’s wife is still the love of his life. What is he supposed to do? Andre wants to help, but isn’t sure he can help him with that.

Elizabeth loves the ring, and Franco says it felt funny to make the decision without her. She says it’s perfect. She wasn’t expecting it, and can’t wait to tell the boys. Franco says he asked them for her hand, and got everyone’s approval, even Aiden’s zebra. Elizabeth says if the zebra approved, it’s meant to be. Franco says he needs to talk to her about Jason and Drew. Kim overhears from the hallway. Why is the door open?

Michael asks what Lulu and Maxie are talking about, and Nelle asks what’s so important that they couldn’t shower first? Lulu says they went undercover, and used a stink bomb to snoop freely at The Invader. They wanted to find out what kind of person would talk to them about Man Landers. Maxie says it’s Nelle, and Nelle says she didn’t do it. Maxie says they didn’t expect her to come clean, but they have proof. Lulu shows them the picture of the check stub made out to her.

On the phone, Sonny tells Spinelli to stop talking, and looks like he has a headache. Josslyn comes in. He asks how her day was, and she runs down a list of things, with Oscar’s coming over in the middle of them. He asks if her mom knows, and Josslyn says she sent her a text. She runs off, and Sonny laughs.

Nelle says she told the truth. He was duping the public, and she was righting a wrong. Lulu calls her a snitch, and says she was selling secrets for money. Maxie tells her Nathan could be in jail for helping a wounded vet. Nelle tells them it worked out. The book became a best seller after the story broke; she did them a favor. Maxie says more like threw them to the wolves by selling their secret. Lulu asks Michael if it sounds honest.

Franco sees Kim, and asks if he can help her. She says she didn’t mean to interrupt, but she thought it was the lounge. Elizabeth introduces her to Franco, and says she’s the first to know she’s now his fiancé. Kim asks if he just proposed, and says she’s even more embarrassed. Franco says that part was over, and Elizabeth offers to take her to the lounge, since she has to go back to work anyway. She tells Franco they’ll talk about Jason later.

Andre understands Drew’s pain. Drew laughs. He asks if Andre has ever been made to believe he’s someone else, and that’s a no, but he spent five years thinking about the consequences of his actions. Drew says Andre took away his life, and made him believe he was someone he wasn’t, and care for people he had no claim to. The only thing he knows about himself is in his service record. Andre says he doesn’t know much more, but he lived with Betsy the first three years of his life. Drew interjects that Andrew produced a fake death certificate to give Franco. Andre says Franco thought he was dead, and he was trying to cover up the upheaval. Now that Drew knows, Andre might be able to help him to explore who he really is.

Jason shows up at the station. Sam thanks him. He asks if she’s okay, and she tells him she’s not the one in trouble. She needs him to help Drew. He asks what she wants him to do, and she says it’s not fair to pull him in, but he insists it’s okay. She explains about the Navy thinking Drew is a traitor. Jason tells her that he means it; it’s okay. Alexis comes out, telling the Naval lawyer that it’s more complex than he realizes. Commander Fuller says that for the court marshal to decide. He stops dead when he sees Jason, and says he really does have a twin.

Drew says he’s already in a cell, and the Navy doesn’t look highly on deserters. He can’t examine the life he had, when there’s no future. Andre tells him those circumstances are out of his control, but he made a statement. Drew says he’s a criminal; why would they believe him? They could be co-conspirators trying to cover something up. Andre says there’s more to this than his legal situation. He tells Drew that knowing who he used to be doesn’t invalidate who is today.

Elizabeth asks how Kim is adjusting, and she says everyone is so friendly, it’s like she’s been there for years. Elizabeth says they’re like a family; they’ll be up in her business in no time. Kim says nothing about her can compare to the chief of staff’s two sons; two men thinking they’re the same person. Elizabeth says it’s a tough situation, and Kim tells her that she actually knew Drew a long time ago. Elizabeth asks from where, and Kim says San Diego. She knew him briefly, but he left quite an impression. Elizabeth says she’s not the only one. She almost married him.

Josslyn lets Oscar in. She tells him there’s been some consequences and new rules. She’s not allowed out after dark without permission anymore. Oscar asks if her mom is home, but she says just her stepdad, and tells him to relax. He asks about the DNA test, but she hasn’t heard. Sonny comes downstairs, and asks Oscar if he’s hungry; they have leftovers. Oscar apologizes again for leaving early on Thanksgiving, and Sonny says it would have been nice if they could have eaten, but way it goes. Josslyn says they have to start their homework. Sonny tells her that Avery asked about her, and she goes upstairs. Oscar says Avery is cute, but Sonny knows he’s not here to talk about Avery. He heard Oscar was wondering about Drew, and asks why the interest?

Maxie says that Nelle must have heard her and Nathan talking when she came for her final paycheck, and Maxie sent her packing. She was eavesdropping, and ran straight to The Invader. Nelle asks how telling the truth is worse than writing a feature about a man she knew was pretending to be someone else? Maxie feels sick, and steps away. Lulu says it was revenge, pure and simple. Nelle says she did it for the money; she had no other options. She tells Michael that she owed on everything. She unmasked an imposter, and the public had a right to know. She asks if he understands, but he says, no, he doesn’t.

Commander Fuller says the existence of a twin does nothing to disprove Drew’s desertion. Sam asks him to please hear Jason out. She thinks he can shed light on the case. Jason explains who he is, and says there are records to prove it. He recently found out Drew was his twin. They were separated at birth, and didn’t know about one another. In October of 2012, Jason was shot, and disappeared. Six months ago, he woke up in a clinic in Russia. He can’t account for time he lost, but thinks it’s connected to Drew’s disappearance. Andre developed a way to transfer memories, and confessed to performing the procedure on them, and it was done against his will. The Commander says that doesn’t mean Drew wasn’t a volunteer, and Jason says with all due respect, from the dates, it looks like he joined the Navy right out of high school. Everything on file indicates Drew’s life was all about the SEALS until he went AWOL. Commander Fuller says there was no sign of a struggle, and there’s no proof he didn’t go voluntarily. Jason tells him the man responsible is Caesar Faison, the former head of the DVX, and most wanted by the WSB and Interpol. He thinks Faison wanted their memories switched, and that’s why Drew never returned to the Navy. He doesn’t remember the past, but the past remembers him.

Drew says Andre is crazy if he thinks he should treat him. Andre says he could find his adoptive parents, any siblings he might have grown up with, teachers, friends, a woman he loved. Who knows? Drew says, or maybe he isn’t anything more than a deserter who threw away his life. Andre says he wasn’t a random volunteer. The procedure happened within three months of Jason being shot. Drew asks why his memory, and Andre tells him the backer never told him the objectives. Drew says, he just paid to obliterate his life? Andre says he has to believe he had a whole full life, and there are people desperate to find out what happened to him and who love him.

Oscar tells Sonny that he and Josslyn were just kicking around ideas. It’s a wild story. He asks if Sonny isn’t friends with Drew, and Sonny tells him, you could say that. He asks if Drew is an okay guy, and Sonny says he’s a loyal friend who saved his life more than once. Oscar asks how, but Sonny suggests he ask the questions first. Why did Oscar and Josslyn sneak out on Thanksgiving to visit Sam and Drew. What did they think they’d find out?

Nelle says she did nothing wrong; she told the truth. Maxie says so did they. She and Lulu step away, and Michael tells Nelle that she sold privileged information, knowing it would hurt Nathan, Maxie, and Amy. Nelle says she didn’t know about Amy’s brother. Michael says she always has an excuse, and sees herself as a victim. She says she got fired because Maxie turned Nina against her. Maxie’s supersonic ears pick this up, and she says she had nothing to do with it. Nelle did something to Nina’s husband, and Nina was livid. Nelle tells Michael not to believe her. He says the details change, but the story is the same. She preys on people’s weaknesses, and uses their pain for her own ends. He doesn’t think she’s malicious, but she’s broken, and he can’t be around that, or her.

Commander Fuller says he’ll have to find out how to proceed, but thinks the information should work in Drew’s favor. He’ll be in touch. Alexis walks him out. Sam thanks Jason. He says he’ll always help her any way he can. His phone rings, and he says he has to meet Sonny. He leaves, and Sam looks at him longingly.

Andre tells Drew he has every right to love and hold on to his life, but the news has tilted Sam’s world. She has one foot in the present with him, and one in the past with Jason. He wishes he could guarantee nothing has changed, but it could. If it does, he needs to keep in mind that he has a past too. Drew asks why they don’t discuss something Andre actually knows about. Are his memories going to come back?

Josslyn tells Sonny that Avery conked out, and asks what they’re talking about. Sonny says, Drew, and his phone rings. He tells them he has to leave, and Oscar is off the hook. After he’s gone, Josslyn apologizes. Oscar says it’s okay, and that her stepdad said Drew saved his life. Josslyn says he wouldn’t tell her the details, but Sonny was in trouble, and Drew was shot instead of him. Oscar tells her that Sonny says it was more than once. She says a few years ago, Sonny was shot, and Drew stopped the guys from killing him. Oscar is like, wow, there’s a lot of shooting going on. He knows what Sonny does, but wonders how Drew is involved. Josslyn says he’s not. He started the media company, and has nothing to do with Sonny’s business. Her phone rings, and Oscar asks if that’s it. Can they find out if Drew is his father?

Elizabeth explains about the hit and run to Kim, telling her that Drew ended up as her patient while he was recovering. He had facial reconstruction, and no memory of who he was, but she was drawn to him. Kim asks what he’s like, and she says he’s a good man. He was kind to her, and at the time, made her feel like the only woman in the world when he looked at her. Her boys adored him; he’s a good dad. Kim says she doesn’t mean to pry, but what happened? Elizabeth says Drew was told he was Jason, and realized he already had a wife. Franco listens from around the corner. Kim wonders how he feels now that he knows he’s not Jason.

Maxie tells Lulu that Michael deserves better than Nelle. Lulu says she tried being neutral, but Nelle didn’t deserve the second chances they gave her. Maxie suggests showers, and then soaking in the tub. Lulu reminds her that she needs something groundbreaking to get hired at Aurora.

Nelle tells Michael that he has no concept of broke, and having creditors calling. She doesn’t begrudge him, but wants him to see her world. He says he’s not letting her play on his guilt. He’s listening to the voice of reason inside; the one he didn’t listen to before. He’s cutting all ties with her. She’s on her own. He’s selling the apartment, even if he has to take a loss. Nelle asks what about the rent, and he tells her to discuss it with her new landlord. She asks if he doesn’t care what happens to her, and he reminds her of when she was going to leave Port Charles. He thinks maybe she should. Put her mistakes behind her, and start fresh. She asks how can she start fresh when she’s carrying his child?

Josslyn starts to give the test results to Oscar, and he tells her to wait. She asks what’s wrong. Doesn’t he want to know?

Elizabeth says Kim doesn’t beat around the bush, and Kim tells her it’s been said before. Elizabeth tells her that Drew is now married to Sam. She’s his soulmate, like her and Franco. Kim says that doesn’t answer the question. Franco comes out, and says he needs to talk to Elizabeth. Kim leaves, and Elizabeth asks if something is wrong. He says everything is right, but they’re not married and it’s Christmas. He wants to get married now, and they can spend their first holiday together as man and wife.

Drew asks Andre if he’s stuck with Jason’s memories, but the guard interrupts, saying Andre’s lawyer wants to see him. Drew asks if he can get them back, and Andre says they’ll talk later.

Sam asks Alexis what happened, and she says Commander Fuller is on a conference call. Jason was very convincing. She doesn’t know how Sam is dealing with this, and Sam says neither does she.

Sonny and Jason stand in front of an apartment door. Jason is ready with his gun, and kicks in the door.

Tomorrow, Michael says Nelle isn’t pregnant just desperate, Kim tells Carly that Jason has been arrested, and Jason and Sonny shake someone down for information.

General Hospital

Ned apologizes for making Alexis come over and being insensitive. She says they all need to process everything. She opens the door and Julian is standing there. He says he’s not stalking her or trespassing. He’s there to see Olivia-Q. Olivia asks what he wants, and he says, his son.

Carly is making out cards, and tells Sonny they have lots of people to catch up with. Sonny asks if he can’t have one day without conspiracies, mysteries, bad guys, or stationery. A day to enjoy his wife, his kids, and Christmas.

Jordan asks Curtis if he’s ready to do this. He wonders how this became his job, and she says there’s no one else she trusts. He’s dressed like Santa, and does a ho-ho-ho.

Michael takes Rocco to see Santa. Nelle comes out dressed as an elf. She says she’s Santa’s helper, and anyone who wants to see him has to go through her.

Lulu tells Maxie that Operation Sweet Smell of Defeat is a go, and they’ll be out of the hazmat suits soon. They just have to wear them long enough to get in, get the scoop, and get out. Maxie says she feels like she’s been wearing it long enough for corsets to make a comeback. She tells Lulu no offense, but Sam is probably focused on which Jason she’s going to be with, and not finding a place for Lulu in the company.

At the station, Dante questions the credential of the Naval lawyer, who tells him the warrant stands for itself. In the interrogation room, Sam tells Drew that they’re arguing the letter of the law with the lawyer, but it’s just a stall. If they don’t come up with something, he’s going to be court marshaled. Drew says, for leaving a life he didn’t know he had.

Olivia asks if Julian has been released, and Alexis says it’s conditional, and he’s getting a new trial. Ned is sure he’ll be guilty again. Julian hears Leo on the monitor. Ned tells him not to do anything stupid, and goes upstairs. Olivia says if he does, Diane will have him back in Pentonville. She has sole custody since he was convicted, and he has no right to be near her son.

On the phone, The Intruder dude says he has photos, texts, and an adult Teddy Ruxpin costume. Lulu and Maxie knock on the door, telling him he has to evacuate since ammonium sulfide has gotten into the air. They push him out of the office. Lulu says they have to work fast, before he figures out that’s the chemical name for stink bomb. She starts to go through the files.

Michael tells Rocco that every CEO counts on their employees, and the elves are Santa’s eyes and ears. Rocco goes to get hot chocolate, and Michael says he sees Nelle is putting her professional experience with kids to good use. She tells him she can’t be picky, and he says she’ll land on her feet. She says she always does, no matter who tries to keep her down.

Sonny kisses Carly. He suggests they bundle up Avery, and get some holiday cheer. She’s all for a drama-free day, but doesn’t think it can be delivered. He says everything is good, and it’s all settled. She tells him nothing is settled.

Drew tells Sam that he didn’t see this coming. Sam says he’s not a deserter. He was kidnapped by a most wanted criminal. He says a lot of what he did was classified. He doesn’t know where he was sent or what he did, but he sure the Navy doesn’t want him sharing it. Sam says they’re looking at him as a traitor, and he tells her that they’ll transport him to a secure location, and debrief him. This might be a problem, since he doesn’t remember what he’s supposed to know or who he told.

Olivia asks Alexis to tell Julian to scram. She says he’s got grown kids to visit, and asks if they slammed the door in his face. They want nothing to do with him, and neither does Leo. Leo doesn’t remember him, and he’s nothing to Leo. Julian hears Leo call Ned “daddy” on the monitor. Olivia says he’s a non-entity in Leo’s life. Why doesn’t he do what’s best for everyone, and stay far away? Alexis says she’ll give him some free advice. His mere presence there jeopardizes his chance of acquittal, not to mention any chance of release. He says it’s not that simple, and she says it is for her.

Carly tells Sonny that Drew is determined to keep everything that belongs to Jason, and Jason won’t fight. He tells her to give everyone a minute. Maybe he’ll see that they weren’t siding against him. Their friend came back, and they’re honoring that friendship, but they’re still his friend too. Carly says he feels like they betrayed him. She doesn’t know how to fix that, and show him they’re still friends. Sonny says Drew can’t figure out who they are to him, until he figures out who he is.

Dante tells the Naval lawyer that Drew is part of an ongoing case, but the lawyer says he has to bring him back for dereliction of duty. I guess they never bothered looking for him? Sam tells Drew that the most important thing is to keep him in Port Charles. The Navy could take him anywhere, and not disclose it. They have to stop it before it starts. He tells her that whatever happens, and no matter how long it takes, he’ll find his way back to her. She says she’s counting on that. The Navy guys come in

Jordan tells Curtis that he’s got to go in alone; the Navy is taking his friend away. He wants to go with her, but she tells him to stay and entertain the kids. There’s nothing he can do right now. She’s going to protect her turf. She says if any brazen elves get within mistletoe distance, they’ll have to answer to her.

Michael asks Nelle how the apartment is, and she says it feels a little big without him. He suggests putting up a temporary wall, and getting a roommate to save on rent, but she doesn’t think it’s come to that yet.

Maxie asks if Lulu is sure the bomb isn’t toxic, and she says only smelly. Maxie holds her nose, and Lulu tells her to use both hands to look. Maxie says it’s taking too long. Lulu asks if she’s resigned to not knowing who tipped the intruder off. Maxie says if it means saving her hair from smelling like a cesspool, yes. Babies are expensive. She can’t afford using a paycheck to fix her hair. Lulu says she’s a genius. Look for paystubs or a checkbook. The article quoted an anonymous source; they can see how the source was paid. Lulu goes through a folder and finds something. She tells Maxie it even says Ask Man Landers tip. It’s a check for $10K made out to Nelle Benson.

Lulu wonders why Nelle would sell them out. Maxie says the answer is in the dollar signs. It takes two hands to count how many jobs Nelle has been fired from, and Crimson was the last one. It’s probably how she found out. Lulu says she has an exposé to write, and Maxie has some choice words for Nelle. They’re met at the door by The Intruder dude and two other men.

Maxie and Lulu sit in a jail cell. Nathan asks what they were thinking, and Dante asks why they smell so bad.

Michael tells Nelle that he’s flexible if she has a problem with the rent. She says they’re in an awkward place right now, but she has the feeling they’ll make things work, and be in each other’s lives for a long time. Sonny and Carly show up with Avery. Rocco comes back, and Michael says he’s not used to Sonny being called grandpa. Carly says better him than her, and Nelle tells her she’s very suited to the title. Ouch. Curtis comes out as Santa, doing his ho-ho-ho thing. Nelle is left with Carly. Nelle says she loves this time of year, so much possibility. She doesn’t get depressed, since her luck can change at any moment. Carly says as long as it has nothing to do with Michael, and Nelle says that’s up to him. Carly tells her not to mistake his cheer; he’s seen the real her. Nelle looks forward to resetting her expectations, and Carly asks what that’s supposed to mean.

Olivia tells Julian to go before it gets ugly. He says if he leaves, he’s abandoning Leo, and if he stays, the cops will drag him out. He tells her it’s not cut and dried. Look how it almost turned out with Dante. One day Leo will come to him, and he’ll tell him the truth. Ned comes down with Leo, and Julian says he’s leaving. Olivia tells him they’re going to the park to see Santa, and to meet them there.

Sam tells the Naval lawyer that he’s making a mistake. Drew did nothing wrong; he was kidnapped. Drew tells her it’s okay, and to take care of the kids and herself. Alexis walks in, and tells them to uncuff Drew. The lawyer asks who she is, and she says the woman in charge of taking them down, and he’s her client.

Maxie tells Nathan and Dante not to look at her; it was Lulu’s idea. Lulu says they had to buy uninterrupted time, and couldn’t break in, since that’s illegal. Dante is like, so you chose noxious fumes instead? She tells him it was harmless, and he says to tell that to Homeland Security. She says they did this for Nathan. Maxie says they know who almost got them busted for fraud – Nelle.

Nelle goes to do her elf thing, and Sonny joins Carly. Carly wonders what Nelle knows that would turn her world upside down, but Sonny says it’s not the right time. Avery wants picture with Santa. I have to mention that there’s been a jump in all these children’s ages.

The Naval lawyer tells Alexis it won’t help the circumstances in the long run. Alexis says it’s due process. They have a warrant for Andrew Kane, but they’ve yet to see physical evidence that contradicts he’s not Jason. She shows them the folder, and says Andrew doesn’t even look like him. The lawyer says they’ve been apprised of the twin theory, but Alexis says his legal name is Jason Morgan. The lawyer snarks that he probably changed his face so he could enjoy his new life. Yeah, he’s been having a real ball. Sam says he was in a terrible accident. Jordan arrives, and isn’t willing to have him removed from her jurisdiction. He’s connected with a WSB most wanted criminal, and is their only lead to the whereabouts of Faison. I get excited all over again.

Michael welcomes everyone to Christmas in the Park. He thanks the parks department, and Ned thanks the sponsors, saying they’ve donated $50K to underprivileged children. Sonny sees Julian, and tells Carly they were supposed to come here to get away from trouble. He asks what Julian is doing there. Olivia tells him it’s a conditional release. His sister’s confession that she extorted him got him another trial. Sonny tells Julian to be careful on the icy roads; accidents happen. I wonder if Sonny has the power to make ice on the roads, since it’s in the 50s. They take the kids’ photos with Santa, and Olivia is obviously not happy in the photo with Julian. She suggests they take an extended family photo. Nelle takes the picture, and Julian pops his head in between Ned and Olivia. It’s actually a pretty funny scene. I like when they take pictures.

Jordan has a judge’s order and can’t relinquish custody. The Naval lawyer says for a half hour; he’ll have a word with the judge, and Drew better be there when he gets back. Sam tells Alexis she’s amazing, but Alexis says hold her applause. They have less time for a save than a pizza delivery.

Lulu tells Dante and Nathan they found a five-figure check made out to Nelle. Dante hopes she didn’t take the stub, and she says she says of course not. She took a picture; they’re not thieves. Nathan tells them they’re free to go. He only had to promise to take Maxie to Cabo. Maxie asks Nathan if he’s really mad. He says no, and she says that she’ll see him at home. He tells her to shower first.

Michael says Lulu was supposed to pick up Rocco, but Olivia says he can come home with them. Julian tells Ned to get used to him being around. He intends to be a presence in his son’s life. Leo is going to call him “dad.”

Michael thanks Curtis for taking the hit, and he says it’s his pleasure. Curtis tells Nelle that she did a good job wrangling the kids. He leaves, and Michael says he can take it from there. Nelle says it’s not his job. He says it’s his event, and she admits she could use a break. He says that’s what are friends for.

Back at home, Olivia tells Ned that Santa wore the kids out. Ned asks if Leo wondered about the strange man who crashed his visit with Santa. Olivia asks how mad he is, and he says he’s not mad; he’s perplexed. Julian has minimal legal standing, he’s on conditional release, and wearing an ankle monitor. It would have been a win to have him arrested. Olivia says she’s a coward. Ned says she is not. She’s fearless, strong, and gutsy; she even stood up to Monica. She says she’s a coward when comes to her kids. She can’t stand the thought that they might not love her. If Dante had been a different kind of person, it would have been a tragedy. She lied his entire life. Because of it, he went undercover, gathering information on a man he didn’t know was his father, and Sonny shot a man he didn’t know was his son. That Dante survived was a miracle, and an even bigger one was that he forgave her. She has to do better with Leo. She can’t pretend Julian doesn’t exist. Ned says it sounds like a plan to him. She asks what happens when grows up, and wants to know his father? He’ll look for Julian, and will find him. How does he think Julian will handle it? He’ll whine about how much he wanted to be father, and how Olivia kept him from it. He’ll make it Leo’s job to love and save him, and she’s not letting that happen. Ned asks what the alternative is, and she says minimal contact. Ideally, he’ll be in prison, but it’s better for Leo to know the truth than have an idealized picture. Ned says she’s not only fearless and beautiful, but incredibly wise. She says she’s lucky she married him. They kiss.

Maxie and Lulu arrive at the park, and Maxie says it looks like it’s all over. Lulu can’t believe she missed it. She gets text from Olivia saying Leo is with her. Maxie says what a shame; let’s go to the spa not. She can’t think, and needs her wits to go to battle with Nelle. She says, speaking of the skank…

Curtis hunts down Jordan at the station, and she explains she was called in to deal with Drew. He wonders why Maxie and Lulu were hauled in, and what is that smell?

Carly tells Sonny so much for a Christmas outing. He says next time he has a bright idea, remind him of today’s events. She wants to finish her cards, and says she just has Sam and Drew left. Sonny asks her to let him write that one.

Nathan puts Drew in a cell, saying, sorry. Drew tells him there’s something he can do. If Alexis can’t pull this off, and get the Navy to back off, Sam and the kids will need looking after. Others might come looking for him. He knows Curtis will step up, but he’ll need more than one man. He can’t trust Sonny anymore, and Jason will just bring more danger.

Sam asks Alexis how Drew’s chances are. She says Andre is their best shot. She might be able to get the warrant tossed. But if they have nothing more than his word, they need more ammunition and time, and she doesn’t know who can give it to them. Sam says she does.

Tomorrow, Lulu confronts Nelle, Drew confronts Andre, and Sam asks for help from Jason.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey

Interior decorator Joyce drops by Margaret’s house. She needs the living room done asap. She shows Joyce around. She thinks Joe #3 is crossing over into the style lane, when he’s supposed to stay in the execution lane. She has to go to Italy, and hopes it can be done in a couple of weeks She tells Joe they’ll fight about it after she comes back.

Melissa and Joe #2 make salad. He misses his mom. Melissa feels like no matter how much time passes, he’ll miss her; it’s just the way it is. He’s talked to a medium, because he wants to know that his mom is okay. In his interview, he says he was raised old school, but is hoping the medium will “connect” him. Melissa tells him about Dolores and Siggy going to Kim D.’s store, and how she said Teresa is fanning an old flame. She says there was a time when Teresa was supportive of Kim, but sees the truth now.

Margaret tells Joe #3 the Kim D. story, and about how Teresa went gangster style over it. She says tonight they’re confronting Kim at the fashion show. Joe is a little concerned, but she says she can outrun anybody in her heels.

Dolores and Siggy show up to get their makeup and hair done before the show. Kim D.’s eyes shoot flames. She asks how it’s going, and Siggy tells her about the dinner and how they’d repeated what she said. Kim asks what the reaction was, and Dolores says Teresa threw a wineglass and everyone hates Kim now. Some chick demonstrates how the guy was hugging Teresa in the club, and it’s pretty ambiguous. Dolores and Siggy aren’t impressed either. Kim says she heard Teresa is done with Joe #1 anyway. In her interview, Siggy isn’t cool with Kim messing with Teresa’s marriage. Dolores doesn’t believe Teresa is cheating, and Sylvia Miles Kim says, welcome to the Posche fundraiser. Toodle-oo! Idiot.

Teresa arrives at Melissa’s. Melissa asks if she’s ready for this, and she says no. She wonders why Kim D. wants to start rumor, and Melissa says because she’s an a-hole. I’d say that about sums it up. Teresa can’t wait to confront Kim. She doesn’t care about herself, but her kids. Melissa says Kim goes deep and hard.

Danielle goes to Margaret’s house to wait for the others. She tells Margaret the last time she went to the Posche fashion show, she got chased from the event, and had her hair pulled out. Margaret says they go in, accomplish what they have to do, and never see her again.

Melissa tells Teresa to be careful. Teresa says Kim knows how to push her buttons. In her interview, Melissa doesn’t think Teresa should put herself in this kind of position. If she gets in trouble, she’ll have to “go away” again. Italian for being thrown in the pokey. Teresa says something happens at every fashion show, but if anyone puts their hands on her, she’ll walk away. In her interview, Teresa says she used to like Kim, but she came after both her and Melissa.

They pick up Danielle and Margaret. Danielle says they’re going to a real Italian shake down now. The ladies arrive at the venue, and Teresa says it’s time to call that bitch out. Melissa is nervous. She says you don’t have to be genius to know this isn’t going to end well. They hit the bar and head downstairs. As Melissa walks down the steps, she says it feels like she’s walking into the lion’s den.

Teresa goes in first, and the others follow. There’s a long pause of silence, and Kim welcomes them and asks how they are. In her interview, Dolores says she’s lived in this part of the zoo a long time, and Teresa is not coming in peace. Kim asks if this is going to be one-on-one or are they all talking to her? Teresa asks if they’re scaring her, and Kim says she can “take youse all on.” Teresa says no one is going to talk about her husband or her, and Kim tells her, too bad. Teresa asks if she saw him screwing another girl, and Kim says, no. Kim calls them all dirty bitches, and says her girls have seen Teresa going to clubs. Melissa says Kim is the queen of going out, and Teresa can do what she wants. Who gives a flying; it’s her business. In her interview, Melissa says Kim just admitted her whole basis for destroying Teresa’s marriage is that someone saw her at a club. She can’t believe Dolores and Siggy. Teresa wants to straighten Kim out, and calls her trash. Kim says she’s the one who went to jail, and if Teresa touches her, she’s leaving in handcuffs. Margaret says don’t even speak her. Kim says she hasn’t seen Danielle since Teresa chased her from the first fashion show. In her interview, Danielle says she knows what Kim is capable of, and knows what Teresa is capable of, and she’s glad she’s on Teresa’s side of the fence. Teresa tells Kim that Posche stands for piece of sh*t crazy homewrecker every day (or something like that), and says she doesn’t want to go there. As Kim walks out with her entourage, Teresa says she’d love to grab her by the back of her hair. Me too. Kim says touch her, and Teresa is done. Teresa invites Kim to come at her, and Kim calls them animals.

In her interview, Teresa says she set Kim straight, and whatever her and Joe #1 go through is nobody’s business. We flash back to Joe being stupid, and Teresa says you don’t know what’s really going on unless you’re living together. Kim wants them out. Melissa says she’s disgusting. She can’t believe Dolores and Siggy are walking in the show. Dolores gets a few inches from Melissa’s face, and says, don’t tell her what to do. Melissa asks why Dolores is getting in her face; they’re supposed to be friends. Dolores screeches that it’s for charity. Teresa calls them Kim D.’s puppets, and Dolores says they’re acting like ladies at a fundraiser. In her interview, Dolores is dumbfounded by Teresa’s behavior, saying there’s a time and place for everything, but it’s not here at a charity event. She says she’s a grown woman, makes her own enemies and fights her own battles. She doesn’t need to get involved.

The show starts. Kim explains the fundraiser is for families who lost someone in a tragedy. Siggy dabs at her eyes, and Dolores tells her, let’s go, probably wanting to circumvent the waterworks. Siggy says no kind of rumor or drama will get in her way of doing acts of kindness. She’s thinking of how much money they can raise for the families. Don’t try to stop her. Zzzzz…

The girls gather at Margaret’s house, and she gets them cocktails. Melissa says it was a real sh*tshow. Teresa is glad she went. No one is going to talk about her family, and get away with it. Kim doesn’t scare her, and if she’s going to blatantly lie, Teresa is going to deal with her. Margaret thinks Kim was scared, and won’t say anything else. I wouldn’t bet on that. She wants to be on this show badly, and it’s her only connection. They agree that Siggy and Dolores aren’t supportive, and Margaret tells Teresa their silence says a lot. Melissa can’t believe they just made plans to go to Milan. Teresa isn’t sure she wants to go with them. In her interview, Teresa says it seems to be a pattern with Dolores. We flash back to her being unsympathetic. Teresa asks how many chances does she give Dolores before she sees Dolores isn’t there for her? She thanks everyone and says she’s torn about Siggy and Dolores. They’ll have to come to her.

Margaret goes to the office in rollers, and tells the fashion show story. Marge Sr. thinks it’s ridiculous. Margaret has finally set up her mom with Steve, her accountant. Marge hasn’t had serious boyfriend in years. She was like a wild divorcé in hot pants. She makes an appointment for her mom to get her hair done at the house, so she’ll look glamorous.

Frank and Dolores go out for pizza. Dolores thinks son Frankie needs to see life beyond his girlfriend. In her interview, she asks how a kid in high school is supposed to have relationship? It’s an anchor. She tells Frank that their son should have no distractions. Siggy joins them. She tells Frank about how Kim gossiped that someone saw Teresa getting cozy with a man at a club. She says things got ugly at the fashion show, and she called Teresa a criminal. Frank asks what did they do? and they tell him they did nothing. He asks if they stayed walking in the show. He’s looking at it from Teresa’s point of view, and what message was shown. They should have let Teresa know they had her back. Dolores says in hindsight, maybe they should have gone. Siggy says it makes sense. She thinks as her friends, they have to let Teresa know that they have her back 100%. These two are either stupid or insane.

Melissa and Joe #2 wait for the medium. Melissa says she doesn’t do this sort of thing. Joe #2 asks if she’s afraid of ghosts, and yes, she is. Teresa arrives, and they have some vodka. Joe asks if she’s ready. In her interview, Teresa says mediums aren’t her thing, but she’s there to support her brother. She’s not ready for all this. Medium Concetta enters. Melissa offers her a drink, but she says she never mixes alcohol with dead people. Good to know.

Concetta tells them ask questions. She’s simple girl who’s talked to dead people her whole life. She tells Teresa that her mother is next to her, and has been. She says that one of her children is sensitive to the other side. We flash back to Milania talking about seeing her nonna cooking. Concetta tells her not to discount it. She says their mother is home and at peace. She had a wonderful life, and hears herself being adored. Teresa says she still needed her, and Concetta says she hears the support and love. She tells Joe that she hears music playing. It’s Momma, sung by Connie Francis in Italian, and Joe says he danced to that song with his mother at his wedding. Concetta tells him that his mother had a hard time walking, but now she can run. In her interview, Melissa tells us that when Joe visited his mother in the hospital, he would whisper, go, run now, mom. Concetta knows things that she wouldn’t know unless she was really talking to her. Concetta tells them that she’s worried about their dad. He’s missing her terribly, and secretly talking to her, wishing he could join her. She wants him to know, don’t be in a hurry. Someday, they’ll be together again. Teresa believes Concetta is really talking to her mom, but it still hurts. She wants her to be there to hug, and it’s so painful. A sad, but uplifting and interesting scene.

The hair person arrives at Margaret’s. She asks if Marge has a safe word in case the date isn’t going well. Marge says she’ll pull her earring. Margaret wants her to be happy and have a companion. If it’s not Steve, she’ll find someone with one foot on a banana peel and a big will.

Siggy visits Teresa. She says sorry about yesterday, and Teresa says, her too. Siggy says it got heated, and Teresa asks if Siggy sees what she’s been talking about. What Kim said was out of line. Siggy agrees, and Teresa says if the roles were reversed, she would never support that person. what said out of line Siggy tells Teresa that she defended her in the store, and told Kim it was disgusting and below the belt. Teresa says after she heard it, why not just give her donation and leave? Siggy says they were there for the charity event. She didn’t care about Kim; she didn’t want to disappoint the families. Teresa gets it, and is fine with it. I’m not. Even if they’re considered minor celebrities, and people were there to see them walk, why didn’t either one of them put it like that before? I’d probably leave, but announce why first. Teresa says she never thought Kim would go against her, and it could happen to Siggy or Dolores. Siggy tells Teresa that they’re her friends. She can’t talk with Margaret, and Danielle is up Teresa’s ass. Teresa thought everything was good with Siggy and Margaret. She says it was until Margaret referenced Hitler at the dinner. We flash back, and I wonder if Siggy actually heard and/or understood what Margaret was saying, since it was an appropriate example. She thinks Margaret is missing a sensitivity chip. She doesn’t hate her, but she’s over it. Teresa appreciates her coming, but wonders where it leaves them. Siggy doesn’t know what’s going down, but wants to go to Milan. She won’t go without Dolores though, because we’re twelve. Teresa doesn’t mind Dolores going, but doesn’t know about Melissa; she’s the one who asked them to come. Siggy says if it works out, great, but if not, she wants Teresa to know she loves her.

Margaret and Joe #3 double-date with Steve and Marge Sr. Margaret tells Steve to watch Marge, she can be handsy after a few drinks. Margaret asks Steve what kind of woman he’s looking for, and Joe says, breathing. Steve admires Marge’s tattoo. She’s been thinking about one no one would see unless she’s naked. He asks if she’ll be getting it by their third date. Ha-ha! In her interview, Margaret says it’s going better than she planned. She asks about Steve’s five-year plan, and he says he eventually wants to settle down. Margaret says he doesn’t want to grow old alone; no one does. In her interview, Margaret says, move over, Siggy. She’s not the only matchmaker. Steve asks if they can have another date without them next time. Margaret says he’s approved.

Teresa calls Melissa, and tells her about Siggy’s visit, and how she didn’t want to let the families down. Melissa understands. Teresa says they were talking about Italy, and Siggy won’t go without Dolores. Melissa says she’s not taking the invitation back, but she’s always felt like Dolores is an older sister, and she got in her face. She should have gotten crazy on Kim, if she was in the mood to get crazy. The bottom line is that she doesn’t want to deal with anybody’s sh*t when they’re in Italy. She’s done with Dolores if she disrespects her like that again. Dolores is on her sh*t list.

Next time, a lively trip to Milan, a heated dinner, and Danielle throwing things.

💫 I was only half-paying attention to Star, but saw the important stuff. Like Queen Latifah in a gorgeous shoulder-length deep magenta wig. Star also deserved kudos for bringing on a 1920s bob with waves. Cotton had serious love troubles, with Elliot wanting to get serious with her, and running into her previous bad boyfriend when they were out together. Jahil told Hunter’s mother, Arlene, that Brody was trying to sell pictures of Star looking battered after Hunter beat the crap out of her. Miss Lawrence let Carlotta know what was going on with Brody. She didn’t want to sink to his level, but Miss Lawrence told her to, sink, bitch. Rehearsals for the showcase were not going well, but when the performers were told that if it failed, Ayanna would have no choice but to sell the label, they pulled it together for the dress rehearsal. Noah apologized to Alex, who told him to never kiss her again, but the look on her face wasn’t jiving with her words. The best part, besides the hair, was Arlene meeting Jahil, and telling him that she wanted Brody dead. Brody appeared out of nowhere, turning the tables, and slashing her a million times. Afterward, he returned Star’s phone, and told her that he’d never bother her again. Right. Next week, the finale.
