General Hospital

Kiki asks Elizabeth about the reception. Elizabeth says they’re having a hard time picking the right venue. Ava suggests the gallery, and Kiki thinks it would suit them. Elizabeth says she’ll run it by Franco. He has a lot going on

Franco paints a stairway to heaven. I don’t really know what it is, but it looks like a black light poster from the 70s.

At the hospital, Nelle thanks Michael for coming to the appointment. He doesn’t want to miss anything. She suggests calling the baby by its name, unless it a problem.

Carly asks Jason how he likes his new decor. He approves, and thinks he’ll be comfortable.

Alexis asks Sam how things are going. She says, great, all things considered. Faison is dead, and the only lead they have is his newly discovered son Henrik.

Peter tells Drew that he’ll stay on board until they find a replacement. Drew refuses to accept his resignation without an explanation. He can’t walk away without saying why he’s going. Peter says he accomplished what he came to do.

Anna asks Valentin if he ever crossed paths with Faison after leaving the WSB. He tells her that for a seasoned professional, she’s making a mess of this. He’d play this game with her, but his wife wants her gone, so he suggests they cut to the chase. Why doesn’t she just ask him what happened to the child she had with Faison? She asks what he’s talking about, and he asks if that’s all she has. She’s a wonderful liar – it’s what made her a great spy –  but he understands the paradox of a secret too painful to keep. She starts to leave, and he tells her to go ahead and run away, but she’ll never get the answers she came for.

Michael says he knows Nelle meant well, but thinks they should come up with something else. Nelle says she thought it was a good way to honor Morgan’s memory, but Michael says it brings up painful memories about their loss and the mistakes they made while grieving. Nelle assumes it’s Carly who doesn’t want it, but Michael says he doesn’t either.

Elizabeth sees Franco’s painting, and says it’s illuminating. His muse is back in full force. He tells her the best way to work things out is with a paintbrush. She asks if this is the result of his session with Doc. He doesn’t want to give Doc all the credit, but it was Illuminating. Elizabeth thinks she knows what the painting means.

Carly babbles to Jason about having the boys over. She says now it’s Jason’s turn; it’s his place. The boys will visit, and they’ll make memories. He hopes so, and she tells him, don’t hope; make it happen. He’s the most determined person she knows. When he decides to do something, he does it. She tells him to decide to have a relationship with his boys. If anyone tells him not to, they’re wrong.

Peter tells Drew that he’s still in shock from the shooting. He was lucky to come away spared, but Nathan didn’t. He didn’t see Nathan get shot, but he saw the aftermath with Maxie begging him not to leave her. He tried to staunch the bleeding, but not enough. it sounds cliché, but afterwards, he questioned his life, and if wants to spend it behind a desk. Drew asks if he’s going to the Himalayas to search for enlightenment, and says maybe he should just take some time off. Peter says he knows what he needs to do. Drew tells him that since he’s been there, the revenues are way up, and so is the readership. Peter says he told Drew the company had potential, and he’s glad to realize some of it. Drew tells him that he’s part of the Aurora family, and he hates to see him leaving. Peter thanks him, saying up until now, he didn’t know what it was like to have family.

Valentin asks Anna if she isn’t tied of running. She says she’s tired of him talking in riddles. He says he was clear; he knows she had a child with Faison. She asks how he came to know? He talks about a school in London much like Hogwarts, but it was a spy school. There was a beautiful princess at the school, and a crooked man, ugly as a troll. He knows what happened on a dark sinful night, when the princess went to Brussels where a midwife was waiting to help deliver a child. Anna runs to the door. He says he thought it was Alex, but it was her all along. She asks why he’s doing this. He asks if she doesn’t want to know, and she tells him he wasn’t there. He tells her to let him finish the story without interruption, and she comes back in.

Elizabeth says the painting is Franco crawling out of a dark place into something new and unknown. He says that’s more than Doc would say. Elizabeth is proud of him, but doesn’t want to interrupt. He tells her she’s the most important thing to him. She explains how Ava offered the gallery for their reception. He thinks that’s uncharacteristically generous, and she was probably trying to impress Kiki. He’s glad though, since he thought they’d have to set up food trucks outside the brownstone. They decide to have lunch, and discuss the plans.

Nelle tells Michael she thought naming the baby Morgan would help the contention. He says it was after Morgan died that she drugged his father and pretended to sleep with him to hurt his mother, Naming the baby Morgan will only bring back old pain. His family doesn’t deserve that, and neither does the baby. He suggests they wait until the baby is born, and come up with a name they both like. She asks if he means a name he likes, and asks if there’s anything else he’d like to dictate. He tells her that he wants to discuss anything they can compromise on, and be by her side as much as she’ll let him. She calls him exasperating. One minute, he’s unreasonable, and the next, he’s incredible.

Jason tells Carly that Danny is coming over. He’s nervous about it, since Sam has always been there. Carly says Danny knows he can trust Jason, and is safe with him. Jason asks how, and she says she’s sure Danny senses that his mom feels the same way. Sam knows that if she needs him for anything, he’ll come through. She knows she’s safe with him.

Sam explains to Alexis how Jason and Sonny figured out Faison had another son – Henrik. They think he was involved in the switch with Jason and Drew. Alexis asks if he’s still at large. Sam says she and Drew didn’t know the truth until after Faison was shot. Drew accused Jason of withholding information, but she thinks he wanted proof before saying anything. Alexis wonders if Sam had been alone, would Jason have told her from the beginning? Sam agrees that he didn’t want to put her in the middle. Alexis says, like when they kissed on New Year’s Eve?

Drew tells Peter that if he feels the same way tomorrow, he and Sam will respect his decision. Peter doubts that he’ll change his mind. They part company.

Sam tells Alexis the kiss was mutual. They talked about it, and it’s over with. Alexis suggests she keep her distance just to be safe. Drew calls Sam, and tells her something came up at work. She says she can meet him at the office, but he says he’ll come to her. They need to talk, but he’ll explain when he sees her. She tells Alexis that she needs a favor.

Valentin continues his story. In spy school, the crooked man was hopelessly in love with the princess, and hoped to win her over with a daring act of devotion. He hoped she would see the real him, past his physical defects. Her most obvious weakness was ambition. She wanted to leapfrog over the other recruits, and wanted to bring down the biggest baddie – Cesar Faison. She knew he was already fixated on her, and saw an in using his weakness. Anna says she wanted to destroy him. Valentin says he saw her when she stole away from school. He followed her. Anna says he should have stopped her, but he says this isn’t about him; it’s a story from his perspective. He asks if she wants him to stop, but she says, no. He says he followed and watched as she blended in. He watched her go through a door and come out in disguise, looking like a common call girl. She fooled everyone but him. He followed her out of London, and she went to pub where Faison would be. He was drunk when she sat next to him, and she got him drunker before she left. Rumors were flying that she’d stolen intel from Faison. No one knew how, but he did, and knows she got more than she bargained for. Anna tells him to stop it, but he says she’s made it this far. If she leaves now, she’ll miss the best part of the story.

Anna doesn’t deny her ambition, and isn’t apologizing for it. She wanted the glory of bringing him down. He was sick, and paid women to impersonate her. She thought she could pass herself off as one of them. Valentin says it was a dangerous game that went further than she expected, which brings them back to Brussels. He talks about the creaky stairs the midwife had to go up. Anna wonders how he could know that. He says she took a spontaneous leave of absence from school. There was a lot of speculation, but a contact told him where she was. By the time he got there, the room was empty with no sign of a mother with her child. Anna asks how does he know what happened, and he says he never did. She just confirmed it. She just confirmed she knows nothing whatsoever about birth control too.

Drew tells Sam that Peter tendered his resignation, saying he did what came to do, whatever that means. Sam thinks maybe he was shaken up over the shooting. Drew says he asked Peter to take time to think it through, but he seemed certain. Jim intrudes, saying the fates conspired in his favor. Sam introduces them, and Jim says he plans to be a major advertiser when the Charles Street project kicks into gear. Drew reminds him that’s if the proposal passes, but Jim thinks it will. He goes to the bar to get drinks.

Franco and Elizabeth come in. Franco sees Sam and Drew, and says it’s busy; maybe they should go somewhere else. Elisabeth says she’s ready for comfort food and beer. She tells him that if he’s going to stare, he should just say hello. He thinks Drew would prefer he play in oncoming traffic. They sit, and Jim says, hey, Bobby, small world.

Kiki doesn’t want to overstep, but asks Michael and Nelle if the baby is okay. Nelle says they’re just there to sign up for mom classes. She says she’s exhausted, and asks Michael to sign them up. She leaves, and Kiki says, so Michael is getting his Lamaze on; she wants a video. He says that’s not happening. She’s glad to see he’s getting along with Nelle, as long as she understands. She says they seemed affectionate, but Michael says Nelle understands there’s nothing between them. Actually, there is. It’s called a baby.

Ava tells Nelle it looks promising, and Nelle says the baby is bringing them closer. Ava asks what about Granny Carly, and Nelle says that’s a bit of a setback. Ava says that Carly is not going to give up without a fight, but Nelle says she won’t have fight left in her after what she’s planning. The details have yet to be finalized, but she might need Ava’s help to pull it off.

Jason tells Carly that Sam wants him to keep his distance. Carly insists Sam needs for him to wait until she can admit her love for him. Alexis comes by to drop Danny off. Danny thinks the place is cool. Carly says great taste runs in the family. Danny is puzzled by that, and Jason explains she means that she picked everything out, and is glad he likes it. He tells Danny welcome to his new place; it’s Danny’s new place too.

Danny brought Jason a present; a drawing of him and Annabelle II. Danny tells Jason about a Star Wars game he likes, and Carly says what a coincidence. There just might be Star Wars stuff in his room. He and Jason go to check it out, and Carly asks Alexis why Sam couldn’t bring Danny. Alexis says she had a work issue. Carly questions if it’s really that she can’t trust herself around Jason. Because Carly knows how everyone in the world thinks and feels better than they do.

Jim sits with Drew and Sam. He says it wouldn’t hurt to have a mayor who’s pro-business, and asks if they’re planning to endorse anyone. Sam says that would be unethical, since her mom is a candidate, and Drew is related to Ned. Jim asks if it’s Drew as in Andrew. He’s putting it together for the first time, and explains that he used to know Drew and Franco when they were kids. He dated Betsy, and used to call them Bobby and Andy. Sam asks if he knows anything else he can tell Drew about his past. Jim says, not much. He and Betsy broke up, and later he heard Drew had died, but that turned out to be untrue. He’s clearly alive and well. He says what a crazy coincidence that the three of them are in the same town. They were meant to reconnect. Drew stares at Franco.

Valentin tells Anna that he had the word of the midwife, but never knew for sure. Now he knows the truth; she gave birth to Faison’s child. Anna says the child had a monster for a father. Valentin agrees. That’s why he never told anyone. Crying, she thanks him, and asks if he knows what happened to the child.

Kiki tells Michael she’s celebrating with her mom about getting into med school. He tells her that the hospital is throwing a celebration for incoming students, but she says it seems to be a couple’s thing. She doesn’t want to go and be interrogated about where Dillon is. Michael tells her not to let him ruin her moment. She should go to the party and celebrate. She says she’ll think about it.

Ava asks Nelle how she can help. Nelle says she’ll need more flexible hours. She’ll get her work done, but needs extra time for the baby’s sake. Ava tells her to consider her hours as flexible as she needs.

Jason asks Carly if she wants to stay for dinner, but she says it’s a big night for them. They should order pizza and watch basketball. Jason asks what kind of pizza Danny wants, and Danny says whatever Jason is getting, calling him dad. Carly tells him to get used to it. It’s who he is to Danny, and always will be.

Sam asks if Jim can shed any light on Drew’s past. Jim says Drew is lucky to be alive after what Bobby did. The little psycho tried to kill him by shoving him down the basement steps. Drew gets up to go after Franco, but it’s all in Franco’s head. In reality, Jim tells Drew that he was always building things. It’s not surprising that he built a company. He’s looking forward to them doing business together. He leaves, and Sam asks if it’s her, or was he holding something back? Drew was wondering the same thing. Franco looks at his lucky rabbit’s foot.

Valentin tells Anna that the midwife said she couldn’t bring herself to look at the baby. He assumes it’s because if she did, she would never let go. The midwife told him that Anna begged her to find the baby a home; a place she could grow up happy, healthy and unaware of her father. Anna says, she? Valentin tells her that she had a girl. Surprise!

Kiki tells Ava that she wants to go to The Floating Rib, but Ava says she deserves champagne, not a bib. They’re going to the MetroCourt. She says maybe soon, she’ll have something to celebrate too.

In the hallway, Carly’s phone rings. It says unknown, and no one is there when she answers. Nelle hangs up at a payphone. I haven’t seen one of those in years. No wonder Jim thinks Port Charles is behind the times.

Franco and Elizabeth get ready to leave. Drew gets up, and asks why Franco never told him that Jim knew them as kids. Franco says it’s ancient history. Drew picks up the rabbit’s foot that Franco dropped and hands it back.

Valentin tells Anna that the story has a happy ending. The midwife honored her wishes, and found a happy home for the child. She never knew who her father was, and Faison never knew she existed. So Anna got what she wanted. He tells her good night, and she leaves. Outside, she smiles, and says she wanted a girl.

Peter’s phone rings. He answers, telling the caller they should be aware he’s leaving Port Charles. Valentin says that would be a mistake.

Tomorrow, Nathan’s funeral.

ℹ GH FYI

Mike’s girlfriend, Rita (Suanne Spoke), was also the NYC bartender who helped Jason hide when he was on his way back from Russia. He gave her Huxley’s “lucky” watch, so I wonder if this is ever going to factor in. I’m sure that watch was more than a watch.

🍰 This week’s Top Chef had the contestants cooking up desserts in the Stanley Hotel, which inspired The Shining. The challenge was to create their worst nightmare on a plate. For the most part, it was disappointing. One cook had been afraid of seeds as a child. Okay… Another cook wanted to recreate an egg exposing an unborn chick when cracked, which he claimed was a real thing. It was all I could do not to scream at the TV that this is a misconception. When you crack open an egg, and there’s a spot that looks like blood, it’s not a pre-peep; it’s a discoloration. In order to produce a chicken, an egg has to be fertilized. By a rooster. Farmers aren’t going to do that if they only want eggs. Bruce ended up having to pack his knives because of some undercooked barley. At least it wasn’t risotto, although oddly enough, he had wanted to cook it like risotto. Step away from anything risotto.

😬 This weekend, AMC will be having a Walking Dead marathon, as well as a preview of season 8B. When did seasons start sounding like apartment numbers?

🎭 Imposters returns to Bravo on Thursday April 5th at 10 pm. It’s a great show and worth checking out. Lots of fun, lots of drama, and lots of surprising twists.

General Hospital

At Windemere, Nina talks to Valentin about funeral plans. Anna comes in, and Nina is like, seriously? She says if Anna has business with her husband, do it later. Anna is there to see Obrecht, but Nina says she’s resting, and she’ll give her a message. Obrecht comes out, and asks what more Anna could possibly want from them?

Sam brings Drew a potted orchid with a pair of tickets to Thailand attached. Drew asks what business they have there, but Sam says it’s a do-over for the honeymoon.

Peter meets Lulu at Kelly’s. He asks how she’s doing. She tells him the happy ending she was writing turned out to be an obituary.

Mike asks if Sonny slept all right. Sonny tells him that he set up the espresso maker he sent three Christmases ago. He asks where Mike has been. Mike says it seems like something is on Sonny’s mind, and Sonny tosses the bag of money at him, asking him to explain it. Mike doesn’t understand, and asks what it is. Sonny says, tell him, and asks again where he was. Mike says he goes for a walk every morning. He meets his friends for coffee, and sometimes they have breakfast; he has his routine. Sonny asks what about the money? Mike says if Sonny doesn’t know, that makes two of them. He has a side job, and he’s not an idiot. He knows what happens to guys who don’t deliver. Sonny asks what the $10K is doing in Mike’s cigar box? Mike doesn’t know, and says he didn’t put it there.

At Charlie’s, Jim asks if Julian has had a change of heart. Julian says his offer is generous, but Charlie’s is still not for sale. Jim says Julian knows where to find him. Julian says at his regular table, and if he ever sold Charlie’s, Jim might starve.

Curtis tells Julian that Jim isn’t smiling, he’s baring his teeth. Julian says he’s trying to start his life over, and doesn’t need this hassle. Curtis realizes that Julian isn’t just holding out; he’s not selling. Julian says Charlie’s is staying right where it is – in the middle of Jim’s plans.

Sam says she’s never been to Thailand, and as far as they know, Drew hasn’t either. He says everything old is pretty much new. She tells him that Monica will take care of the kids, and they’ll have their first real adventure as Drew and Sam Cain. They can make memories of their own, and have more adventures. He calls her ambitious, and says the word honeymoon has a nice ring to it. They start making out, and Alexis pops in, asking if they don’t have work to do.

Peter can only imagine how devastated Lulu must be. She says it’s nothing compared to how Maxie feels. She lost her husband, and Dante lost his partner. They both have a huge piece missing, and she set it into motion. Peter says they might take some small comfort in knowing someone who loved Nathan wrote the obituary. She says Maxie can’t even talk to anyone. He asks how the baby is, and Lulu says fine, but it will never know what a great father it had. Ned approaches the table. He complements Lulu on her byline, and says now that the election is in full-swing, they’ll probably want a one-on-one interview with him. Peter tells him to contact the paper directly, and Ned moves along. Lulu says, well, that happened, and Peter says readers recognize good talent.

Anna wants to search the grounds in case Faison left something behind. Valentin tells her to knock herself out, but he did a thorough sweep, and there was no trace. Anna has an envelope of Faison’s personal effects, and thought Obrecht would want them.

Sonny tells Mike that he took the time to come there because he heard Mike was in trouble. He finds out that Mike is a bag man, and has $10K in his cigar box. He can’t force Mike to take help, but he can reimburse Caruso, and Mike can keep the money. Mike says he doesn’t want or need Sonny’s help. Sonny says he doesn’t need Mike’s help either. Rita comes in, wondering what’s going on. She tells Sonny that Mike is too proud and stupid to ask, but they’re in trouble, and need his help.

Sam tells Alexis that she heard things at headquarters are a little intense, and wonders why she’s there. Alexis asks if they caught the attack ad. Drew did, and tells Sam that it stated Alexis makes bad decisions and is bad for Port Charles. Sam says she’s surprised at Ned. Alexis says he claims he didn’t know about it, but he didn’t have it taken down either. Sam suggests running a counter attack, pointing out that Alexis had enough sense to leave Ned at the altar. Alexis doesn’t think that would help, but she does need an endorsement. Aurora Media could say something pointing out the good she’s done. Drew thinks she’s a terrific candidate, and would like to help, but an endorsement from them would tank the campaign.

Lulu dabs at her eyes, and says Peter has knack of catching her at vulnerable moments. He tells her to be glad she can still cry; most journalists can’t. She says he’s been a great mentor. How is it possible she doesn’t know a thing about him?

Obrecht backs away from the envelope, saying she wants nothing to do with it. Anna thought she or Britt might want it, but Valentin suggests she take it and destroy it. Anna says she could, but not right now. Obrecht said he had a son; what about him? Obrecht says Faison killed the one pure part of both of them. Anna says she’s talking about Henrik, and asks if Obrecht can help find him.

Sonny tells Rita that he’d love to help, but can’t if he doesn’t know what’s going on. Rita says she’ll tell him everything, and he asks how the $10K ended up in the cigar box? Rita doesn’t know. If she did, she’d tell him. Mike says he doesn’t need her to defend him to his son. If his word isn’t sufficient, Sonny needs to get out. Sonny says he wants to believe him, but Mike says that’s not good enough. He says he’s sweaty from his walk, and needs to take a shower, adding something stinks in here. After he leaves, Rita says she knows Sonny hasn’t seen him in a while, but he’s not himself. She told him not to take the job; they’d find a way to get by. Although who can blame him? Is he going to stock shelves with high school kids? Sonny counts the money, and says it’s all there. That means Mike is telling the truth, at least about gambling. If he’d fallen off the wagon, it would be short. Rita says he’s proud. He’s been trying, and has succeeded for the most part, but he needs his own to believe in him. He’d rather die than admit that. Sonny understands, and she says if he wants to help figure it out, go easy on him.

Sam says Drew is right. An editorial campaign headed by Julian’s daughter is not a good idea. Drew says it’s not what she needs. It should come from the Port Charles Press. Sam adds that they made an agreement not to dictate content. She offers to take Alexis to lunch, and Alexis says it’s a nice consolation prize. Sam says they can strategize. They leave, and Drew looks at the tickets.

Peter tells Lulu that his life story isn’t that interesting. He wasn’t close with his family. His mom abandoned him as an infant, and his father shipped him to boarding school. Lulu asks if he had siblings, and he tells her that he had a brother, but he died before they had a chance to know each other. Lulu compares his life to a Dickens novel, and says he deserves better. He says he practices what he preaches, and wrote himself a better ending in spite of his family.

Nina tells Anna that Nathan is the only one who mattered, and Anna agrees he was a great man. Their loss must be profound, but Henrik could be out there following in Faison’s footsteps. Nina wonders where he’s been, and where he is now, and Anna says that’s what she’s trying to find out.

Sonny tells Rita that she’s right. Rita says Mike told her how he abandoned Sonny, and that his mother’s second husband was not a nice guy. Sonny says he’s already come to terms with that, but Rita says that doesn’t mean Mike doesn’t think about it every day. He didn’t know the money was missing, and she tells Sonny that Mike has been distracted, like there’s something heavy on his mind. She’s been worrying about him, hoping he’d tell Sonny. Sonny says she might have noticed they’re not sharing kind of guys. Rita tells Sonny that Mike’s face lights up when talks about Sonny and his kids. He’s proud of him, and despite the cranky bastard act, wanted to be someone Sonny is proud of. Cutting and running wasn’t the best way to do it, but Mike loves him in his own half-assed way. The last thing wants is to need him, but right now… Mike comes back in, and says Sonny is still there. Does that mean he believes him?

Ned goes to Drew’s office. He says despite the rough relaunch, they seem to be ahead of the game. He tells Drew that the family was denied the opportunity to have his back while he was growing up, but they would have, like they did Jason. He has their loyalty, and the family is standing beside him. All they ask is that he stand beside them as well.

Sam and Alexis go to Charlie’s. Sam remarks that Alexis is there a lot, and Alexis says campaign headquarters are across the street; it’s hard to avoid. She tells Sam not to worry. There’s no risk of her getting back together with Julian. Apparently, he has a girlfriend.

Lulu asks if Peter ever looked for his mother. He says he had a fantasy as a kid that she’d come back, but it didn’t happen. He was given to his father through an intermediary, and his father didn’t know who his mother was. His father ran the gamut from boring to unpleasant. He was self-absorbed and unfeeling, but business kept him away a lot, so Peter didn’t have to see him. He was a horrible person. Lulu asks if he’s no longer alive, and Peter says he’s been dead a while. He spent most of his childhood seeking approval, but there’s only so much dismissal and ignoring you can take before you don’t need it. That’s when he was able to break free.

Anna asks Obrecht if she has any idea where Henrik could be. Obrecht says she saw him as boy, but he’s long since grown. Anna says if he’s continuing to do Faison’s work, he needs to be stopped. Nina says, not today; not now.

Sonny tells Mike that he believes him. He tells him not to worry about the money. Things are squared with Caruso; he’s been paid off, and Mike can keep it. Sonny says he should take a vacation, and come meet Avery. He also hasn’t met his great-grandson Rocco, and Dante and Lulu would love to see him. Mike says he’s too young to be a great-grandfather. Sonny says he screwed up, but he can make it up by coming to visit. Carly would love to see him too. Mike asks what about Rita, and Sonny says he’s inviting them both. Rita says she has to work, but tells Mike to go. He says he’s not going anywhere.

Jim approaches Alexis’s table, and asks if she remembers him. She says he’s the one who accused Laura of exploiting the memory of Mary Mae. Jim asks to let bygones be bygones. Alexis says she could try, but apparently, he needs something from her. She invites him to sit, and he says he can only stay a minute. She introduces him to Sam, who says she knows he’s the face behind the Charles Street redevelopment project. He would love to discuss the details, since he did that for Alexis’s opponent.

Curtis comes in, and Julian asks what he found out. He says the guy who attacked his Aunt Stella disappeared. He was the only one injured, Jordan persuaded him not to press charges, and he skipped town. Curtis can’t figure out why. Julian says he might have been acting on someone else’s orders.

Drew asks if Ned is suggesting he stand beside the Quartermaines, or stand beside him. He wonders if Ned is looking for a personal endorsement, and Ned asks if that would be so bad. Drew says, to ask, no, but he’s going to tell him the same thing Sam told Alexis. They’re choosing to remain neutral. He appreciates Ned stopping by, and his kind words, but has to get back to work. Ned sees Alan’s cufflinks, and Drew says Monica gave them to him. Ned says that’s what it means to be a Quartermaine. (Cufflinks?) It’s not about choice, but a legacy. Recusing himself is a great strategy; it makes him more of a Quartermaine.

Lulu says Peter should get his memoirs down on record, if only for his own self-worth. Peter says his work was done by surviving. Sad stories about toxic families are a dime a dozen. Lulu says they’re all unique. Someone might read his, and not feel alone. He says if there are billions out there, there’s plenty to choose from. She thanks him for the distraction, and he says, what are friends for?

Nina tells Anna to have some respect, and give them time to grieve. They have to work out the funeral arrangements. She begs Valentin to get Anna out of the house, and leaves. Anna says she knows they don’t believe her, but she’s sorry. She wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t critical. Valentine wonders how critical something can be about a dead man. Anna wants to make sure everything about Faison, including his son, is wrapped up for good.

Mike appreciates the offer, but he has his routine; it keeps him steady. Sonny says they have sidewalks in Port Charles. Mike says he meets his friends for coffee, and Sonny says he’s got more coffee than Mike could ever dream of. Mike doesn’t want to be away from Rita. She tells him to go; it’s not Timbuktu. Everything will be there when he gets back, including her. Sonny tells him to come to Port Charles and meet his family. Mike agrees.

Jim has ideas for joint ventures between Niagara and Aurora. Sam says she’ll give his card to Drew, but she thinks what he needs is an ad agency. Ned comes in, and Jim leaves to join him. Sam asks if Alexis thinks Ned saw them. She says considering how hard he’s trying not to look at her, yes. Sam asks if she’s going to confront him about the ad.

Curtis wonders why a dude would mug someone, and then try to press charges after they defended themselves? I could actually see this happening in NYC. Julian says the street lights were out, and Curtis adds that the security cameras were too. Stella has been very vocal, and was arrested for assault, and now being made to look like the crazy bad guy. They watch Ned and Jim laughing together.

Peter goes to Drew’s office, and thanks him for the amazing opportunity. He’s tendering his resignation though. It’s time for him to leave Port Charles. Funny, he didn’t mention he’d only be staying a couple of months during the interview.

Anna asks Valentin if he ever crossed paths with Faison after leaving the WSB. Valentin laughs, saying for a seasoned professional, she’s making a mess of this. He can field her vague and ridiculous questions all afternoon, but his wife wants her gone. He tells her let’s cut to the chase. What does she want to know about her and Faison’s son?

Tomorrow, Michael says Nelle knows there’s no future between them, Elizabeth knows what something means, and Drew won’t accept Peter’s resignation.

If Loving You is Wrong

Brad drives off after seeing Alex talking to Randal. Randal laughs, and Alex tells him to shut up. She says he’s going to push her too far. He tells her that when she went to her parents, it was too far. She tells him to leave her alone and harass his own wife. She realizes he doesn’t believe her about Marcie carrying his child, and tells him to ask her. He asks if she hates Marcie that much, and Alex says she’s just telling him the truth. Randal says she needs his help to break up Marcie and Brad. She says yes, she does want him to break them up. She tells him to do what he always does, but he wants to do what he used to do with her. She says that’s never happening again. He says he’s going to ruin Marcie’s life real quick, and come back to ruin hers. He asks if he’s getting under her skin, and she says he almost lost his. She wishes her daddy had hanged him, and mentions she has a lot of relatives and friends back home. He tells her to give them a hog holler. She goes back in the house. He checks his phone to see where Brad is, and gets in the car.

Kelly’s new attorney, Carl Adams, introduces himself to Lushion. Lushion says he called a Marty, but apparently, he’s unavailable. Lushion asks what office Carl is from, and he says the Public Defender. Lushion says it must be a mistake, and give him a moment. Carl steps outside, and Lushion makes a call to Ian.

Ian is still out for dinner with Marcie. She sees the call is from Lushion, and Ian says he’s not answering. She thinks he should, so he steps away from the table. Lushion says he has a kid there from the Public Defender’s office. Ian says his recommendation was busy, and his hands are tied. Lushion says Carl looks like he’s out of high school, and he can’t believe Ian is doing this right now. Ian says he’s sorry. Lushion says the other lawyer didn’t call him back, and Ian tells him that Marty said no; Travis’s family is well-connected, and the case is getting press. Lushion says all the more reason Kelly needs a good lawyer. Ian says no one is going to take the case without getting paid, and Lushion thinks something else is going on. Ian says he told him everything, but Lushion isn’t buying it. He was going to help Kelly, and now he’s so cold he can’t even give a recommendation. Ian says it’s not like that, and to give Carl a chance. I hate Ian right now.

Marcie asks if everything is okay, and Ian says it’s fine. She asks if it’s about Kelly, and he tells her he can’t talk about it. He suggests dessert, but Marcie just wants water. Ian says he’s been out of the dating game for a while, and she reminds him it’s not a date. He tells her that she’s a rehearsal. She says guys have been using her a lot lately, and calls for the waiter.

Larry starts to come to, and Eddie calls him baby girl. Larry says he had his fun; Eddie needs to let him go. Eddie wants to enjoy it some more. He thought Larry liked being dominated. Larry says Eddie has a terrible reputation; he’s crazy. His department hates him, and he has several complaints against him. He’s racist, sexist, and homophobic. Eddie says he’s a lawyer’s nightmare, and he hates Larry. Larry says call it even, but Eddie says call him in power. He makes Larry repeat that he has the power. (♫ We got the power! ♫ plays in my head.) Larry says he hasn’t been to work all day, and it doesn’t concern Eddie? Eddie says he was humiliated, and punches Larry in the face. Larry laughs and says he loves it. Eddie picks up a plastic bag, and Larry says there are ways to do it; Eddie could kill him. Eddie says he thought Larry was turned on, but Larry says not by death. Eddie puts the bag on his head, and Larry struggles.

Carl asks if he can see Kelly now, and Lushion says they’re bringing her. Carl knows Lushion doesn’t like it, but says he’s good at his job. Lushion doesn’t doubt it, but Carl doesn’t believe him. He says people judge him all the time, but he really is good. Lushion says his opinion doesn’t matter, and leads Carl to the interrogation room.

Kelly asks if Lushion got the lawyer, and he says she’s been appointed one. He brings in Carl, who introduces himself. Kelly doesn’t understand, and Carl says he’ll explain it. Kelly asks Lushion to call Natalie and find out how Justice is doing. Carl apologizes, saying he knows it’s difficult. She says it was self-defense. He tells her that he needs to hire a private investigator to corroborate her story. I dunno about that. Everything is on record, and there are quite a few witnesses. Kelly says she has no money, and asks how he’s being paid. He says he’s a Public Defender, and she says she wants a real lawyer. He tells her that’s offensive. She says she needs individual attention. They have huge caseloads, and he’s probably used to doing deals with the DA. He suggests probation and time-served. She asks if he can do that, and he says probably not, but he needed a starting point. Right now, he’s all she’s got. When she gets another lawyer, he can fill them in. He asks what happened.

Natalie gives the kids dinner. One of the boys tells her there’s something wrong with Justice, and wonders when Joey is coming home. I’d forgotten all about Joey. Natalie doesn’t know, and he asks if Joey has seen Justice’s mom. Natalie asks if he’s been talking to someone, and he says it’s all over school. She tells him to go eat.

Justice looks pretty bummed. He tells Natalie he’s not hungry. He asks where his mother is, and she says Kelly had to go to the jail. He asks if she killed Travis; everyone at school knows. Natalie says she’ll let his mom tell him. He’s tired of being treated like a kid, and Natalie says he is a kid. She tells him Travis was trying to hurt Kelly, and she was protecting them. He wasn’t a good person. Justice says it must have happened after he was asleep. He tells Natalie that Travis had been talking to him; he’d been at the window. He told Justice that he loved him, and would always be there for him. Natalie finds out that Travis had asked Justice for Kelly’s financial information. He’d said he wanted to put money in her account, and told him not to tell. Natalie asks what else he did, and Justice says he was just helping his mom. Natalie tells him he has to eat something.

Natalie calls Lushion. Poor Lushion. I say that every week. She tells him it’s about Justice. He told her that the night of the shooting, Travis came to his window and was talking to him, and she knows how Kelly’s accounts got hacked. He says they’ll talk later, but Kelly asked if he’s okay. She doesn’t think so, and he says he’ll be there in a bit. He tells her that he loves her.

At the restaurant, Esperanza asks Stephen if Marcie and Ian are staring. Stephen says yes, but it’s no big deal. He jokes that he could threaten to arrest them, but says it’s not the end of the world if they find out. She asks why he wants them to know, and he says why not? Esperanza says, because they’re not together, and Stephen says, but they are. She wonders if it has to do with Eddie, and if they’re in competition. He asks why he’d be playing a stupid game, and she says they’re always measuring each other up. He tells her that she’s crazy. She says she was just asking, and he says he answered. Esperanza wants to get going, since her daughter is with a sitter. Stephen says since they’re not together, does she want to go Dutch? Good one, Stephen. She tells him that he’s paying, and not to follow her out like a puppy.

Lushion visits Kelly in her cell. She says it’s going to be bad, and he asks what the attorney said. He looked Carl up, and he’s pretty decent. She says she needs great. He tells her that Justice is fine, and she says tell him she’s okay. He asks if she wants him to visit, but she says no. She wonders what will happen if she never gets out. She needs to know what to do with him. Lushion says if that happens, they’ll take care of him, but she’s not being convicted. She tells him he’s done enough, but he says not until she’s free. She thanks him. He tells her they’ve got her, and stay strong.

Ian is hypnotized by his phone. Marcie asks what’s going on, and he says, nothing. She says he hasn’t been the same since Lushion called. He repeats that it’s nothing. She isn’t pretending to know him, but knows when something’s wrong. He asks what she knows about Kelly. Marcie says she’s a good person, and the kind of mother she’d like to be one day. She tries to be on the side of right. Marcie wishes he was representing her. She knows when someone has a good heart, and he does. He says most people don’t think lawyers do. She tells him that some, like Larry, need to change some things. She knows they’re friends, and Ian says they work together. She says it sounds like he doesn’t like Larry, and Ian says he respects him, but has issues. Larry didn’t even show up for work, and he had to stand in for a press conference that Larry asked for. Marcie thinks Ian should have his own practice, and he says easier said than done. She says it’s like getting out of a bad marriage. She hopes Larry can get Randal to sign the papers. Ian says if anyone can, it’s Larry. Marcie sees Brad, and tells Ian it’s his new neighbor. She goes over to talk to him

Marcie asks Brad what’s going on? He says he’s not good. He saw Alex talking to Randal after he’d told her not to. Marcie says they never learn. He asks what she’s doing there, and she says she wants him to meet someone. She introduces Brad to Ian, and tells him Larry just bought a house on the block. She asks if Brad wants to join them. Brad asks if she isn’t on a date, and she says they’re just celebrating Ian’s house. Ian asks about the schools, and Brad says they’re good; he has kids in elementary school. Ian says he has kids that age too. He saw baby carriage and a blonde on Brad’s porch. Brad says the blonde is his wife, and Ian assumes they have a newborn. Brad says she does. His wife had an affair with Marcie’s husband, and they have a baby. Not TMI or anything. Did it not even cross his idiotic mind that he might be embarrassing Marcie? Or her client? Welcome to the neighborhood! Brad tells Ian that Marcie’s husband lives next door, and is driving him nuts. Ian asks if he means Randal; he knows Randal and Larry are friends. He’s sorry to put things together, and sorry for the drama. Marcie says he didn’t bring it. Ian says he can deal without conflicts and chaos, and Marcie tells him that he can handle himself, but speaking of drama…

Randal appears and says hello like Flounder in Animal House, and I laugh. Marcie suggests they go, but Brad wants to stay. Ian says they were just leaving. Randal says he just got there, and he has some questions. Ian tells him, not today. Randal asks if Marcie is pregnant with Brad’s baby, and she she is. He asks if she’s sure. A birdie told him otherwise. She says his birdie is wrong, and Ian says, let’s go. Randal asks if she’s doing threesomes now, and she and Ian leave.

Randal tells Brad that if he finds out the baby is his, Marcie is going to be so pissed off about what happens. He’s about to follow them, but Brad grabs him, and punches him. They have a huge brawl in the middle of the restaurant.

Next time, Brad wants the truth from Alex, Randal visits Kelly in jail, and Marcie has a medical emergency.

😈  Channel Zero is back. This time with Butcher’s Block, and Rutger Hauer. Since it conflicts with my viewing schedule, I’ll probably have to watch it On Demand like last time. I hadn’t known that the stories are based on those found on Creepypasta. The one from Candle Cove is quite disturbing. You can read about it here:

General Hospital

Sonny tells Mike to admit he took the money. The last thing he wants to hear is that his dad is dead in the street. Mike says he’s just an obligation to Sonny; a mess he has to sweep up. He doesn’t know what happened to the money. Sonny says he’ll cover it, but Mike has to be straight with him. Who does he owe and how much is the grand total?

Dante looks at Nathan’s empty chair. Jordan asks why he’s at the station, and he says he just wanted to follow up something. She tells him he’s on leave for a reason; Nathan was his partner. She says the department recommends speaking with someone, but he thinks there’s no need. He wants to focus on Nathan’s family. Jordan says her door is always open.

Curtis picks up the tab for dinner with Stella. He says it’s the least he can do. She needs to save her money in case the developer takes over the community. She says that’s not going to happen. Today is the cut off for voter registration, and she’s going back to knocking on doors; she’s been at it all day. Curtis isn’t happy about her doing it alone, but she tells him Charles Street is safe. He thinks he should go with her, but she says she’ll be fine, and calls him a nag.

After Stella leaves, Curtis check his phone. There’s a text from TJ, asking if he’s seen this. He opens the file attachment, and says, damn.

At the hospital, Alexis tells Finn if he ever quits his day job, he can get something in stand-up. Deanna approaches them, and asks to talk to Alexis. She says she supports Alexis in the mayoral race, and thinks she needs to see something. She shows Alexis the computer, where a campaign ad is playing. The ad asks how Alexis can make tough calls when she hasn’t made the right choices in her private life. The ad shows pictures of Alexis and Julian, saying that Alexis married a known mobster. She’s wrong for Charles Street, wrong to fight organized crime, and wrong for Port Charles.

Kim goes to Charlie’s, where Julian reminds her that his name is Julian. She says he seems more like a Charlie. He tells her that he has some avocado toast with her name on it. She says the last thing she wants to do after a long shift is cook, and her son has a more active social life than she does, so it beats eating alone. He asks what’s keeping her from a better social life, and she says she hasn’t met anyone she’s been interested in. He says the bar is a place to meet people, and they smile at each other.

Anna checks Spyder Finder, but there are no results for Henrik Faison. She hears a baby crying in her mind. Robin comes in, startling her.

On Sonny’s mother’s grave, Mike swears he hasn’t gambled in seven years, and he’s proud of his chip. He made the drop like always, and asks if Sonny thinks he’s lying. Sonny doesn’t know what to think. Caruso needs him, so why tell him that Mike lost ten grand when he didn’t?

Julian is glad to see Kim; he thought she got scared away. She asks, over what, and he says his daughter being married to her son’s father. A small crowd of press runs in and descends on Julian. One of them asks if he has a response to the attack ad using him against Alexis.

The end of the ad says it was paid for by people who want to elect Ned. Deanna says it’s gone viral, and she thought Alexis should know. Alexis thanks her, and sees Diane called to warn her. Finn says all politicians lie, but she says it’s still persuasive. Finn tells her that he’s still registered at his old address, and she drags him into the elevator, saying she’s getting him registered in Port Charles. She needs all the votes she can get.

Jordan asks if Dante is still working on the embezzlement case, but he says he’s clearing Nathan’s desk, so Maxie doesn’t have to worry about it. Jordan says he doesn’t have to worry about it right now, but he tells her since he’s on desk duty, he might as well. He talks about when Nathan first joined them. He’d been on the fast track with New York’s finest, and he wondered why Nathan was there, thinking he wanted the glory without doing the work. Nathan pulled out a Yankees mug, and they got to talking. He realized they weren’t that different after all. He could trust Nathan with his life, and gave his family to him. He was half as close to his family as Nathan was. He says no one gets a cop like another cop. It feels like he’s lost a brother.

Anna forgot Robin was coming. Robin says she would have reminded Anna had she answered her texts. Felicia and Mac told her that Anna was all right; she was starting to worry. She says she’s heartbroken for Maxie, losing her husband to Faison, of all people. She didn’t know Nathan well, but knew he made Maxie happy. They have to be strong for her sake. She tells Anna that at the very least, Faison is out of their lives forever. She moves some pillows, and Anna grabs her laptop.

At The Floating Rib, Alexis tells Finn he can take the sticker off now. He says he didn’t really want to be a walking billboard for civic responsibility anyway. Alexis says she didn’t expect Ned go that low, but Finn tells her not to assume he endorsed it, since there are often independent groups who make ads. Alexis says, except everything it said was correct.

A reporter asks Julian how he feels with his past being weaponized against Alexis. He tells them no comment, and Curtis steps in. He tells them they have five seconds to get out before he calls the police, and shows them the door. Kim says that was unexpected, and Julian wonders what it was about. Curtis tells him that he just saw an attack ad against Alexis, and Julian had a starring role. Kim asks why they’re using him, and Julian says, long story. He suggest he tells her over dinner, and asks her to join him.

Anna tells Robin that she’s doing confidential research for the bureau. Robin asks if it’s something about Faison or forensic research. Maybe she’s not sure he’s gone? Anna says he’s definitely gone; she confirmed it. Faison will never be a threat again. Robin says she hates Obrecht, but for the first time, she understands her. Obrecht gave up Nathan to protect his welfare. Trying to be a good mother was more important than the twisted game she was playing with Faison.

Dante tells Jordan that Nathan was there for them, and all he can think about is the kid he left behind. What if it happens to him, and Rocco is left without a father? Jordan tells him to go home and be with his family, and tomorrow they’ll honor his partner. The desk sergeant says there was an assault on Charles Street, and the perp is on the way in. An officer brings in a cuffed Stella.

She tells Jordan to do something. A man tried to steal her purse. A bedraggled dude says this woman assaulted him, but she says she put her self-defense training to good use. He’ll think twice before mugging another woman on Charles Street. She says she was working on voter registration, when the streetlights went out. Then this reprobate (one of my favorite words) tried to take her purse. The guy claims he thought she needed help, and she asks if he thought so when she clocked him. He says she just admitted assaulting him, and Stella says they struggled over her purse before the cops showed up. He’s a double disgrace, attacking an innocent woman. The guy says there’s nothing innocent about her. Jordan calls Curtis, and asks him to come to the station.

Mike tells Sonny maybe one of Caruso’s guys is skimming. Sonny says he’ll take care of it later; Mike is the priority. Mike says he’s fine, and Sonny asks why he took a bag man job? Mike says he needs to make living; he doesn’t exactly have a pension. Sonny says he can give him money, but Mike tells him a son isn’t supposed to support his father. Sonny says he’d rather give him money than worry. Mike says there’s been no problem until this week, but Sonny wants to stop the problem before it starts. He offers to give Mike an allowance, and says he’ll take care of Caruso later. Mike asks if he’s sticking around a few days.

Anna tells Robin about a drunk Obrecht coming to see her after Nathan went public about being Faison’s son. She seemed terrified. Despite her obsession, or maybe because of it, she understood the threat. Anna wishes she’d paid more attention and done something more. Robin says she’s not responsible. Faison came for his son, not her. The whole nightmare is finally over. No more head games; just peace. She’s sorry Anna had to go through it alone, but Anna says she didn’t. She, Jason, and Sonny were an affective team. Robin says she doesn’t want to gloat under the circumstances, and Anna tells her not to get carried away.

Alexis tells Finn the information was slanted to suit the opposition’s agenda, but it’s not entirely wrong; she’s mad bad choices. Finn says it’s true she’s no saint, but he’d be suspicious of any candidate who came off as perfect. Her past made her stronger, and Ned’s privileged life has made him no match for her. Kim and Julian walk in.

Curtis tells Stella that she had no business walking by herself. She tells him not to blame her, but the guy who tried to rob her. Curtis says he intends to have a few words with homeboy. Jordan says there’s a discrepancy between their stories, and Dante said there’s a store camera, but it was out too. Jordan believes Stella, but there’s no corroborating evidence, and his injury validates his claim. Curtis says unless she can prove her side, it might not end well for her.

Sonny tells Mike it’s all settled. He’ll take care of the debt, but doesn’t want him working for Caruso or anyone like him. They have a drink, and Mike offers Sonny a cigar. Sonny says maybe later, and asks about Rita. Mike says she takes care of him, keeps him out of trouble, and she’s a good woman. Maybe if they’d met ten years earlier… Sonny says he might not have appreciated her then. Mike says who knew Sonny was a romantic? Sonny says people grow. Mike tells him that here he is again, taking care of his dad. When he got into recovery, he moved back to make it on his own. He never wanted to be burden to Sonny and Courtney. Sonny says he means Carly. He tells Mike to let the past go. They’re together. They’re family, and something he’s learned is that nothing is more important. They clink glasses.

Anna says sorry she deceived Robin. She and Finn aren’t together. Robin asks if they broke up, but Anna says they were never together. It was just part of an operation she was running for the bureau. They had to make everyone believe they were involved. She was stalling in telling Robin, because she felt ashamed for misleading her. They all liked Finn, and she didn’t know how to tell them it was just pretend. Robin says it didn’t seem like pretend.

Kim greets Finn. She tells Alexis that it’s nice to meet her, and she has Kim’s vote. Julian asks for a word with Alexis. He saw the attack ad. She says him, and everybody else. He says it’s disgraceful, and she doesn’t deserve it. She says neither does he. He tells her that he keeps trying to make things right, even if it means staying out of her life. He’s sorry. No matter how hard he tries, he keeps hurting her

Jordan tells questionable dude that she ran his name through the system, and sees he’s out on parole. He says he’s the victim, and she asks how it will look if they find out he’s lying? She wonders how his parole officer might feel about false statements or an attempted robbery charge. She tells him that she’ll make it simple. If he declines to press charges, she won’t have to investigate any further. It’s his choice.

Robin says she saw two people authentically involved. There’s acting and being, and they were being a couple. They had a familiarity with each other like shorthand. Anna says only if that means gritting her teeth and smoothing over his catastrophic bluntness. She starts going off about how he acted like an expert about things he didn’t know, and wouldn’t take real expert advice. She feels better now that he’s back in his civilian role and off her conscience. Robin asks who Anna is trying to convince? Her or herself? Neither one is convincing, and she tells Anna to admit she has feelings for Finn.

Kim asks what going on, and Finn explains that Alexis is Julian’s ex-wife. Alexis tells Julian the ad wasn’t his doing, but he says it wouldn’t have existed if he hadn’t done what he did. He’s sorry it was used against her, especially with something so important. He thinks she’d make an excellent mayor, and he’ll do whatever he can to help. She asks if he’d like to endorse Ned, but Julian says that’s asking too much. She tells him that she can fight own battles. Julian sits down with Kim. Finn asks Alexis if she’d rather go somewhere else, but she says let’s just enjoy the evening.

Anna says Robin must be tired. Robin says she’s not sleepy, but she’s starving. Anna says she has actual groceries, but Robin wants to go out. She thinks they both need to get out of the house. She’s not trying to get into Anna’s business, but she seemed genuinely happy with Finn, and he seemed happy with her. She tells Anna to stay open to new possibilities. Faison is out of her life, and it might be a chance at a new beginning. Robin goes upstairs, and Anna looks on her laptop, seeing no results found for Henrik.

Jordan tells Stella that she’s free to go. Stella asks about pressing charges, and Jordan says she just convinced the guy not to press charges, and not to escalate it. Stella balks at letting him go free, but Jordan says they’ll keep an eye on him until there’s something to charge him with. Stella leaves to fill out some forms, and Curtis asks Jordan what the chances are of the streetlights and the cameras shutting down at the same time. She says slim to none. She has no basis to investigate further, but he can.

Mike tells Sonny that he has chili on the stove, and he used Ruby’s recipe. He leaves to set up the guest room. Sonny thinks again about the cigars, but when he opens the box, he finds a package of cash. I’m thinking maybe Mike has dementia.

Kim tells Julian she must be the only person in town who didn’t know he was married to Alexis. He says it never came up in conversation, and she says he’s full of surprises. He says they’re not all good. The attack ad took full advantage of the truth about his checkered past. She asks how much is criminal, and he tells her a lot, If she wants to leave, he understands. She says she’d be lying if she said her dream date is drinks with an ex-con, but her family believed in the power of redemption. If he’s paid his debt to society, and is now a law-abiding citizen, she doesn’t think he should pay for it the rest of his life. She asks if he’s committed to living on the right side of the law, and he says, totally.

Finn asks Alexis if she wants to go. She says she’s not ducking and running, but if he wants to, she doesn’t blame him. Anna and Robin come in. Finn says, on second thought, there is something to be said for ducking and running. Robin asks Anna to tell her again how it was just a work relationship.

Dante starts to leave with the box of Nathan’s stuff. He stops, and puts the Yankee mug on his desk.

Tomorrow, Nina tells Anna to conduct business with Valentin later, Sonny questions Mike about the money in the cigar box, and Lulu tells Peter that she doesn’t know much about him.

The Haves and the Have Nots

David paces at the station. He says he’s Jeffrey’s attorney, and he’s tired of waiting. The desk sergeant says he’s called the DA’s office five times, and David tells him to call again. DA George shows up, and David says these clowns won’t let him see Jeffrey. George asks the sergeant to bring Jeffrey to the interrogation room. Isn’t he already there?

Yep, he is. Justin plays with Jeffrey’s phone, while Jeffrey recovers from the headlock. Jeffrey wonders what happened, and Justin says he only put him to sleep. Jeffrey asks what the hell is wrong with him, and Justin says he can be as crazy as Jeffrey makes him. Jeffrey wants to go back to his cell and never talk to Justin again. Justin isn’t going to just let him walk away after all he gave up for him. Jeffrey says he didn’t ask him to give up anything. Justin says he lost his marriage. Jeffrey says don’t blame him, blame his mom, and accuses Justin of causing the accident. Justin says if he did, he was doing Jeffrey a favor. Jeffrey says he doesn’t need Justin to do anything for him, but Justin says too bad, Jeffrey is stuck with him. He agrees to take Jeffrey back, then throws him against the wall.

David walks in, and asks what the hell? Justin says the prisoner was getting rough. David says to get away from him, and get the cuffs off. He asks if Jeffrey is okay, and Jeffrey says he is. David asks for Justin’s name and badge number. He asks why Justin is handling Jeffrey in that way, and Justin says he was resisting. David begs to differ, but Jeffrey agrees. David realizes that Justin is calling Jeffrey by his first name, and Justin makes the excuse of not wanting a mix-up between the two Harringtons. David realizes Justin is the cop who came to his house, and tells him to get lost.

He asks Jeffrey if he’s sure he’s okay, and Jeffrey says he is. David asks why Jeffrey is in jail, and what did Veronica do exactly? Jeffrey says she told the judge and the DA that he murdered Quincy. David says he’ll do all he can. Jeffrey asks if his mother is okay, but David says his only concern is Jeffrey. David asks about that cop, but Jeffrey says there’s nothing to tell. David needs him to tell the truth about everything. Jeffrey says Veronica taped Justin in his room after they had sex, and showed it to his wife. David is like, damn, and Jeffrey says he asked. He asks why Jeffrey was so upset, and Jeffrey says Justin was aggressive; he’s very jealous. David asks if Jeffrey is in love with Justin. Jeffrey says, no, and he asks if Jeffrey is into him. Jeffrey says at times, and David asks if he needs help dealing with him. Jeffrey says what he needs is to get out of there. David says he’ll make some phone calls and work on it. He tells Jeffrey that he loves him, and Jeffrey says he loves David too. David leaves to make some calls.

Mitch takes Benny to the hospital, and says he’ll wait. Benny goes to Veronica’s room, and she calls him her hero. She gives him a hug, and thanks him. He says he did what anybody would have, but she says, not anybody. She says her husband wouldn’t have done it, or her son. He asks why not, and she says she has a way of trying to make people better, and they don’t appreciate it until it’s too late. Benny is like, okay, and says she has a way of making people crazy; she’s a control freak. She says that might be, but she can’t control him. She likes that. She owes him an apology. Their affair got out of hand, and she said some mean and rude things. He did too, but she gets it. She also lied. He is good in bed, and she wasn’t faking it. He says he knows, and she calls him arrogant. He says, just confident. She thanks him, and asks what she can do. He tells her just get better, but she asks what he needs. Anything. He says he’ll think about it, and she says he has an IOU she’s good for.

Before Benny leaves, Veronica says she needs a favor. She asks him to pick up some things at the house for her. She has to stay at the hospital for a while, and doesn’t want to look like a hag. As if. She tells him to check on the house as well. She has a house guest; her son’s fiancé. He asks if she’s gay, and Veronica says not gay, but she’s crazy. Benny tells her that Jeffrey tried to kiss him once, and he hit him. Veronica says she hopes Benny hit him hard. He had no business trying to kiss him, especially since they were involved. Benny says it was long before, and she asks if he thinks about her. He says he has to go, and gets the keys from her purse.

Mitch asks Benny if she wrote him a check, but Benny says she just wants him to get some things. Mitch calls him an errand boy. Benny asks when Mitch’s uncle is getting back. Mitch says if Benny plays it right, he won’t need his uncle. Benny tells him shut up, but Mitch says Veronica is in love with him. Benny says she’s more dangerous than Mitch’s uncle.

Landon tells Charles that he keeps getting better and better at speaking. Charles calls Landon his cheerleader, and Landon says he’s special. He’s cleared Charles’s morning, and has someone he can spend a long night with. Charles asks if she’s beautiful, but Landon was talking about himself. Charles says he’s exhausted and just wants to go to bed. He asks if he’s checked on “her,” and Landon says he might want to pay a visit soon. He’ll get on a plane after the interviews. They go over Charles’s schedule.

Erica finds Gia in the hotel lobby, and gives her a shopping bag. Gia asks if Candace is Erica’s pimp, but Erica says no. Candace arrives, and asks for her money. Erica says she’s also brought the clothes Candace asked for. Candace asks how it feels with no one watching her back; that’s what happens when she gets crossed. Erica says, sorry, and Candace says unless she wants a slap, don’t say that; she knew what was going on. She’d better work fast on David for the hundred grand. She tells Erica to get her ass out.

Candace asks glia if she has a room. She doesn’t, and Candace says she can use hers, but it’s the last time they’ll talk in public. After this, she doesn’t know her in public. She tells Gia to go ahead of her. Before Candace can follow, a guy walks up to her, saying she’s under arrest. Candace asks for what, and to see his ID. He claims to be from vice, and says she’s being arrested for robbery. Candace says she did nothing, but he tells her not to cause a scene.

Kathryn visits Hanna. She asks how Hanna is, but doesn’t quite buy that Hanna is okay. Hanna asks what’s going on, and Kathryn says Derek thought she didn’t seem too happy. Hanna asks if she’s trying to get Derek to ask her out, but Kathryn says he wanted to. Hanna tells her about Derek doing the dishes, and Kathryn says she didn’t tell him to do that, but thought it would be nice for her to go out for coffee. Hanna says Kathryn knows what she’s been dealing with, and Kathryn says all the more reason to get out. He’s just asking for coffee. Hanna says it’s been a while since she laughed, and asks who he is. Kathryn says he’s worked on their properties for years. His wife died a year ago, and he’s been lonely. She tells Hanna she should go, and she won’t take no for an answer. She’s calling him, and telling him to take Hanna to dinner, even if she has to push her out the door. Hanna says no, and Kathryn says, fine. She asks if Hanna is coming by later, and Hanna tells her not to set her up.

Sarah comes to Jim’s hotel room. She says she can’t stay long. He tells her to suit herself. She says she’s getting married to a judge. Jim calls him an old bastard; old enough to be her grandfather. He asks what the judge did for her, and she says she worked hard. Jim – king of bad double entendres – says she worked him hard. Sarah says she won’t be intimidated. He tells her to relax, sit down, and shut up. He’s not letting the DA bury him without him burying all of them, including her. She asks what he wants. He wants every shred of evidence. She says he’ll find it out in discovery. He tells her whatever they have, make sure they don’t have. She says she can’t tamper with witnesses. The star witnesses are his son and Jeffrey; the rest is circumstantial. Jim wants what’s on record to disappear, like what was on record about her did. She tells him that she paid him for that, and he says the casual sex was his gift to her. She says she’ll do what she can, and starts to leave, but he tells her to take off her clothes. She says she’s getting married, and he says he’s been married for years. He insists, and tells her not to act like she doesn’t enjoy it. He’s the best she’s ever had.

At Veronica’s house, Mitch remarks what a nice place it is. He tells Benny to get that truck, and says he could be living there. Benny says he ain’t that dude. Mitch says it’s in his blood; look at Candace. Girl knows how to come up. Melissa comes out in a tiny robe over some gorgeous lingerie, and asks what they’re doing there. Benny says he’s there to get some things for Veronica, and asks if she remembers Mitch. She says she can’t forget, and calls him very handsome. She says Benny is too, and he says he’s just there to get her things. Melissa asks when she’s coming home, and Mitch says it sounds like Melissa doesn’t like her very much. Melissa says she doesn’t like her at all. He asks why she’s there, and she says Veronica wants her to marry her son. He asks why she’s living there, and she asks if he thinks she’s sexy. He says, hell yeah. She asks if Benny does, and he asks where the bedroom, so he can get Veronica’s things. She leads him leads him upstairs, and Mitch laughs.

In Veronica’s room, Benny looks for the clothes she wants. Melissa asks if he knows her son is gay. She’s been locked up a long time, not being fulfilled, Veronica watching all the time. Jeffrey looked at her like he was disgusted, and she was beginning to doubt herself. She thanks him for saying she’s sexy. She takes robe off, and he asks what she’s doing. He doesn’t know? She says trying to remember what feels like to be wanted and desired. Benny says he just came to get the clothes. Melissa says he could get more, and won’t let him past. She takes a condom out of his wallet, and says she knew he was ready. Benny keeps protesting, but not that hard. She pushes him onto a chair, and gets on his lap. He says Mitch is downstairs, and she says he can’t hear. Melissa doesn’t hear him saying no anymore, and Benny tells her to shut up.

Landon orders a drink. He’s sitting with a woman from the campaign whose name I don’t know. He tells her that Charles has back to back meetings, but he got him situated. The woman says Charles sounds like a five-year-old, and Landon says, a toddler. He’s always whining about how tough it is and how tough it’s going to be. It’s a lot. Landon starts talking about Candace, and the woman says she’s keeping everything in line, but Candace makes it hard. She keeps doing more bad things. Landon says she’s a thug, and he doesn’t want to know. He says Charles really wants that stupid bitch. She says she sees that Candace is getting under Landon’s skin. Landon tells her that Candace almost had a thug attack him, and Charles just melts for her. The woman asks if that’s what it is, or is it that Landon wants Charles to melt for him? She says he’s 100% straight, and Landon says he’s known some who weren’t – in practice.  She says Landon wants him; he’s in love with him. Landon says Charles is his boss, and he doesn’t want to hear it. Landon leaves, and the nameless woman orders another drink.

There’s a knock at Wyatt’s door. Justin yells for him to open the damn door. Wyatt tells him back away, but Justin bangs on the door. He gets it open, and comes in holding a crowbar. He asks if Wyatt is hard of hearing, and says he’s going to show him who belongs to Jeffrey. He asks why Wyatt has been calling Jeffrey, and Wyatt calls him insane. Justin says Wyatt claimed they were lovers. He’s not going to let a drug addict junky take what’s his. Wyatt tells him to get out again, and Justin says, don’t call him. Wyatt repeats that Justin is insane. Justin raises the crowbar, but misses Wyatt. They tumble over the chair, and begin to tussle.

Next time, Candace shares a cell with Quita, David threatens Justin, and Melissa moves on to Mitch.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

PK tells Dorit she’s amazing, and his party was beyond. We flash back to some highlights. He says her performance was great, but George likes to sing with people who can’t sing; it makes him sound better. She’s like, thanks a lot, and moves on to Teddi’s beach house invite. She tells PK about the argument, and how Kyle defended Teddi. In her interview, she says Kyle hurt her feelings by not sticking up for her. Dorit opens a box, and it’s a custom-made 3D figurine of her and the kids. They drop it, and the baby’s head pops off. Well, so much for that. It was pretty cool while it lasted though.

Lisa and Ken are at Vanderpump Dogs, fawning over a bag full of fresh puppies. The assistant tells them the lawsuit was dismissed. Huge relief for everyone. Lisa wants to celebrate. In her interview, she says a public figure is susceptible to litigious bullsh*t. Coupled with the puppies, it’s a glorious day.

Teddi and Kyle shop for athletic wear. They talk about the party. Teddi wonders why it has to be so hard, and tells Kyle the thing between her and Dorit is like water torture. She got excuses, but not an apology. In her interview, Teddi says you have to own your sh*t. Kyle says the ones who think they’re right will never back down. She likes Dorit, but sometimes wants to tell her to shut up and listen. Teddi tells Kyle nothing is easy with this group.

LisaR and Erika meet for lunch. LisaR says she’s in denial about everything. Daughter Delilah is moving to NYC, and she hasn’t processed it yet. She wants Delilah to be safe and healthy, and she wants it to be fine. Erika says it will be. She talks about her soap schedule, and they discus her character on Days of Our Lives. We see an ancient clip. Erika asks what it’s like to be a soap character for decades. LisaR says you have to learn a lot of lines. We see a clip of Erika on Eileen’s show.

LVP waits for Dorit, who calls saying there’s traffic. LVP says she lives around the corner from her. She’s going into Teddi mode, and it’s annoying. Kyle follows Dorit in. LVP immediately tells them about the lawsuit being dropped. They toast to that. Kyle says speaking of negativity, what was up with Dorit and Teddi? She asks if she shouldn’t have chimed in, and says she thought they needed an interpreter. Dorit thinks friends shouldn’t jump in. Kyle says LVP chimed in for Dorit, but Dorit says that was different. In her interview Kyle says now she needs an interpreter. Kyle says it was two against one, and LVP says she wasn’t against Teddi. Kyle says that’s not what she meant, but she thought Dorit didn’t get where Teddi was coming from. She feels ganged up on, and shuts down the conversation. She starts to get weepy, and both Dorit and LVP wonder where this is coming from. LVP says she waited a half hour, and she’s going; she’s had enough. She strides off, and Kyle tells Dorit that LVP is mad because Dorit is talking to her. in her interview, LVP says Kyle is crying over nonsense, and it has nothing to do with her. She wanted to celebrate, and wished she could have talked about that. She’s not dealing with bullsh*t. Kyle and Dorit go after her, and Kyle asks why she’s leaving. LVP wants Kyle to stop saying they were attacking her. She’s going home to her husband, who would rather spend time with her than they would. She leaves them with their mouths hanging open.

Kyle and Dorit go back to the table. Kyle is annoyed, saying LVP left because the focus wasn’t on her. She knew Kyle was upset. Dorit says it’s just because it wasn’t about her, and it isn’t adult behavior. She tells Kyle that LVP needs a lot of attention, and it probably goes back to her parents. We flash back to LVP telling Dorit that her parents weren’t demonstrative at all. Kyle is shocked that LVP never told her about it, and says it hurts her feelings. She’d like to think they’re closer than that, and it’s weird that she was never told. Dorit tells her about the photo shoot for the jewelry line, and Kyle didn’t know about that either. Kyle says she tells her close friends everything, and doesn’t want to feel like the friendship is unbalanced. Dorit says they have to address it, but LVP isn’t picking up their calls.

Delilah wonders how LisaR memorizes so much. LisaR encourages Emilia to get her driver’s permit. She’s dragging her feet, saying she still wants some childhood. LisaR says she forgets Emelia is just a kid. She worries about them growing up too fast, and says they can take their time. She asks Delilah about moving. Delilah says she just needs a bed. LisaR says they really need to pick out stuff, but Delilah is going to the spa for a non-surgical facelift. LisaR wonders how that will help someone who already has a baby face. So do I.

Teddi gets the beach house ready. Hopefully she has the right glasses. She wants everyone to be happy, and doesn’t know if these chicks can handle such a laid-back atmosphere. Dorit is late to pick up Kyle. She calls, saying her driver doesn’t know how to get there.

Giggy! Harrison! Schnookie! Erika picks up LVP. Erika is surprised to see turtles in LVP’s pond, and LVP says she has everything. She asks if Erika brought anything for the potluck. In her interview, Erika says she left her Jell-O salad with marshmallows at home. She tells LVP that she meant to bring a bottle of champagne, but forgot it. LVP brings a cake.

LisaR is busy at the Days set. She says it’s been twenty-five years, and it’s like going home. Before she started on the soap, she’d only done Taco Bell commercials, and it changed her life. She discusses wardrobe with the wardrobe guy. She tells us that she’s the OG Billie, but two other actresses have played the part, and her character has done things she doesn’t even know about. She says it’s a lot of pressure, and she has to be ready or she’ll look like a fool.

Dorit makes it to Kyle’s. She says if she can survive the limo ride from hell, she can survive her issues with Teddi.

LVP tells Erika about how the girls ignored her good news. Erika thinks there’s more depth to LVP than she shows; they’re alike in that way, with keeping things to themselves. We flash back to Kyle taking several calls while at dinner with LVP.

Dorit wants to know what’s going on with LVP. Kyle doesn’t like rocking the boat. She says LVP will hold their friendship hostage, and Kyle cares about her. Dorit thinks they should have a side chat. Kyle says she did nothing wrong.

LisaR calls Erika, telling her that she has twelve scenes coming up. Erika says she’s missing out on the beach excursion. LVP joins in the conversation, saying she has ruffled feathers. LisaR says it’s a shame she can’t be there. Erika says Dorit called Teddi a psycho. LisaR has to jet – it’s call time.

Teddi fluffs pillows. Erika and LVP get there first. Teddi shows them around, and it’s beautiful. LVP says doesn’t know why Teddi was anxious; she never met a beach house she didn’t like. She says it’s casual, funky, and bohemian, like Teddi. Dorit and Kyle finally arrive. Dorit thinks being on the ocean is magical. She brought tons of food since her mother is in town. Teddi says she got glasses just for her. Dorit calls it extending an olive forest. LVP asks if Dorit left late, and mentions waiting for her. Kyle had planned on talking to LVP about the aborted dinner, and wants LVP to cool her jets. Dorit asks if that’s why she left so abruptly. LVP says it was a couple of things. She’d been excited about the canceled lawsuit, and they ignored her enthusiasm. Kyle doesn’t think so. She thinks LVP felt brushed aside. Isn’t that kind of the same thing? In her interview, Teddi says, welcome to my beach house, and asks if they can’t chill for just a moment. LVP says she wanted to talk about something that was huge. Maybe she felt tired and drained, and didn’t like that Kyle was saying they’d planned to gang up on her. Kyle says it wasn’t about LVP for a minute. She felt left out in the moment, and that Kyle and Dorit were having a moment. She asks if LVP would have left had it been Dorit who was crying, and LVP says she doesn’t know. In her interview, Kyle says this is making her question where the friendship stands, and how LVP feels about her. The friendship isn’t balanced. LVP says she doesn’t want to talk about it anymore. Everyone focuses on the food. Kyle goes to freshen up. She thinks LVP is going to want an apology, but she’s not getting one. Kyle wants an apology, but probably won’t get it.

Dorit says it’s peaceful by the ocean. Teddi and Kyle sit outside. Kyle says she’s pissed off. It would have been easier to just say she’s sorry, but that’s not the truth, and she wants them to be honest. Erika joins them for the sunset, and Camille arrives. LVP sits down, and Dorit follows. The sunset is breathtaking. Kyle tells Camille that she came at a more peaceful time, and Camille asks what happened. Erika says LVP was hurt, and LVP explains what happened at dinner. Kyle believes LVP doesn’t want to say that she really felt excluded. Kyle says she tells LVP everything, and wonders if LVP feels the same way about her. In her interview, Erika says all of them are petty, and this is really about three bitches competing for friendship. Kyle says she’s been LVP’s friend a long time. LVP says she doesn’t prefer Dorit over her, but Kyle feels LVP doesn’t treat her as well. The friendship doesn’t feel balanced (the word of the night). LVP tells Kyle she’s sorry if she was unfair, and asks Kyle to apologize for saying she was plotting against her. In her interview, Kyle says LVP’s sorry is a good sign. She didn’t expect it. Even though LVP isn’t being up front about why she left, she’ll take the apology. They agree to be honest with one another. Kyle says she feels like LVP is too hard on her sometimes. In her interview, LVP says none of it was worth crying over. Since they don’t’ understand each other’s point of view, she apologized. The friendship was too important. As soon as Kyle gets up. LVP steals her comfier chair.

Next time, the ladies take an exercise class, Dorit tells Erika the girls were mad she left, and Dorit tells the group something private that LVP told her.

General Hospital

Carly tells Jason that he wants to do the noble thing, and is concerned about Sam’s happiness. She tells him that he should fight for her, unless he believes she’ll be happier with Drew. Jason says he doesn’t get to decide what makes Sam happy, so please drop it.

Sam believes who Drew is inside is still there. He doesn’t need the flash drive; he can remember on his own. He says aside from a flicker of déjà vu when he met Kim, it’s a blank. The flash drive might be his best chance. Sam tells him if they find it, she wants him to be careful how he uses it.

Franco gives Doc the rabbit foot to put alongside the brain in a jar. Doc says it’s party central now; all they need is a disco ball. Doc asks if it’s connected to Franco’s claim that he hurt people as a child. He was only a little boy. Franco says he sent the boy who was his best friend at the time, falling down a flight of stairs.

Elizabeth asks Griff how he’s holding up. Griff says he’s lost patients before, but this one hit hard. Elizabeth says they had a history, and Griff adds, not a good one. He wonders if there’s something more he could have done, and didn’t.

At the MetroCourt bar, Ava tells Nelle not to underestimate Carly. Once she paints a target on your back, she won’t rest until she takes you out. Nelle says she’ll have to take Carly out first. Ava says she needs to plan and have s strategy. Nelle needs to be careful that Carly doesn’t suspect anything. Nelle says she won’t, just like the last time. Ava tells her that Carly knows how she operates now, and Nelle says she came close to pulling it off. Ava says until she fell in love with Carly’s son. Nelle tells Ava the biggest obstacle between her and Michael is his family.

Sonny knocks on Mike’s door. A woman opens it, and checks him out, leaving the chain attached. Sonny starts to introduce himself, but she says she recognizes him, and opens the door. She says Mike must be in more trouble than she thought.

Franco tells Doc that he thought the other boy was his brother, since his mom raised them together. Doc asks where his parents were, and Franco says Betsy was hiding the boy from Alan; it was Drew. Betsy thought Franco might hurt him again, so she sent him to live in an orphanage. He wonders if Faison did Drew a favor.

At the Aurora office, Peter looks at the latest article about Faison. A police officer comes in, and tells Peter they’re almost finished. They’re doing a final sweep to look for the bullet Faison shot at him.

Sam tells Drew they have no leads on the flash drive. She wonders what he’s thinking, since they can’t exactly plug it into him, and access his memories and past. What if it’s worse than they know? Why chase after something so dangerous to use?

Carly needs Jason to be okay. She’s not sure she can get through the next six months. Oh, that’s nice. She needs him to be okay for her. She can’t believe that psychopath is carrying her grandchild. He didn’t see how Nelle took advantage of Morgan’s death. Carly did her part, beginning the involvement with taking Nelle’s kidney, but she attacked them at their most vulnerable, and Carly thinks she doesn’t have a heart or soul. Jason asks if Nelle scares her, and she says she’s terrified that Nelle is carrying Michael’s child. He puts up with more than he should, and she doesn’t want that for him. Jason isn’t saying there’s no reason to worry, but tells her that Michael is an incredible man, and will be an incredible father. He might give Nelle too much leeway, but will put the baby first, and they’ll be there to help. Carly says it won’t be the last time he’ll need to calm her down; he’s going to have to stop her from kicking Nelle’s ass. Michael walks in and asks if she’s pissed at Nelle again, or is there a family crisis he doesn’t know about?

The woman invites Sonny in, telling him that she and Mike have been together five years. She says Mike talks about Sonny all the time, and tells him what beautiful kids he has. She introduces herself as Rita. She tells Sonny that they met at Gamblers Anonymous, and it’s good to have a boyfriend who’s also in recovery; they understand each other. At least she thought they did. Recently, two goons showed up, saying Mike owed them ten large. Sonny asks where Mike is, and she says that’s the problem. She has no idea.

Rita says Mike went out to get the paper. Nothing seemed strange; he was his usual cheerful self. Sonny suggests calling him, but Rita says he left his phone. She tells Sonny that he clams to get caught up talking to people, but he’s been vague and wandering. It’s the first sign of shady behavior since they’ve been together. Sonny asks who he borrowed $10K from, and she says not borrowed. It was his boss’s money that he was supposed to deliver.

Carly tells Michael that she’s pissed, and has every reason to be. He asks if this a brand new reason, and Carly claims not to be looking for conflict, but Nelle makes it inevitable. Jason tries to ditch this conversation, but she asks him to stay. He sighs. Michael tries to talk, but Carly barrels over him, and Jason tells her to let him talk. Michael says that Nelle is connected to their family now. They’re having a kid, and it’s going to be okay. She asks how, and he says he doesn’t know yet; they’ll work on it. He knows she hates it, but she won’t self-destruct. When she feels it coming on, call Jason, and he’ll talk her down. Jason says he loves them both, but he’ll see them later. When he’s gone, Michael tells Carly to lay it on him. What did Nelle do?

Ava says Michael must have felt the same way about Nelle at some point. Nelle says it was wonderful for a while. Ava asks what happened, and answers her own question; Carly. Nelle says no matter how many times she apologized, Carly wouldn’t let it go. It wasn’t enough for her and Sonny to hate her; she wanted Michael to hate her too. She chipped away at him, and whispered in his ear, until he finally took her word over Nelle’s. Ava says she’s sorry, but Nelle says, she’s not. That won’t be how it is forever. They’ll have a beautiful baby, and give the baby what she always wanted and never had; two loving parents, a family, and a home full of love.

Doc asks Franco how it felt, pushing his friend down the stairs. Franco is ambivalent, since he doesn’t know what happened; Betsy told him about it. Doc says she’s lied before, but Franco says she lied to protect him, not hurt him. It took months to pry it out of her, and even then she was reluctant. Doc wonders if she just wanted him to think so. Franco says she knew the truth, and he pushed Drew to hurt him.

Elizabeth says Griff is a great doctor; one of GH’s best. He would have never let the animosity between him and Nathan get in the way. The only person responsible is Faison.

Jason visits Peter at the Aurora office. He heard Peter paid Faison a visit, and asks why. Peter says Faison took a shot at him, and he wanted him to know it didn’t take. Jason asks if there was anything else, and Peter says, not really, no. Jason asks which it is; not really or no? He asks if there was any chance the guard outside overheard their conversation, but Peter says the door was closed. Jason tells him he was the last person to see Faison alive, aside from the staff. Peter asks, what is this about exactly?

Sonny asks Rita if Mike is a bag man. She says he picks up the money and brings it to his boss. Sonny says, Caruso, and she says he’s a fair man and pays well. Mike doesn’t want to ask Sonny for money; being a burden is his worst nightmare. It’s the first time he didn’t deliver, and has been trustworthy up until now. She thinks he’s gambling again, and swiped the money to pay back the debt because he can’t come up with anything else. Mike (being played by Max Gail – they’re dragging in all the old sitcom guys) walks in. Mike asks Rita to make some coffee. His son has come for a visit.

Doc asks if Franco can recall any feelings surrounding the incident or hostility toward Drew for any reason? Franco says he wasn’t even in kindergarten yet. Doc asks what about afterward; did he miss Drew? Franco tells him that he asked about it so often, Betsy thought it was in his best interest to convince him that Drew never existed; he was a figment of Franco’s imagination. Drew didn’t fall by himself, but it still leaves the big question as to why.

Ava tells Nelle that she wants her little girl back even more now. Nelle says she’s not even a mom yet, but can’t imagine being separated from her baby. Ava says it’s a torture like no other, but she doesn’t see much choice. Nelle says, for now, but if she gets her way, Carly won’t be an issue for either of them. She’s going to fight fire with fire. Ava asks if she’s going to prove Carly is an unfit mother. Nelle says there’s some truth to that. Ava says she’s deranged when she perceives a threat to her family. She becomes 100% unhinged.

Michael asks if Carly confronted Nelle about her lost year. Carly says sort of, and Nelle turned violent and tried to hit her. I vote for someone clocking Carly really good.

Sam and Drew go over how Andre put the flash drive in a Christmas ornament, gave it to Anna, and and she unknowingly put it in a box of ornaments for the community tree. Sam says it disappeared afterward, and Drew asks what about the other ornaments? She says they were all still there, and he says it wasn’t random then. Someone was looking for it. Sam says it wasn’t Faison; he had no idea it existed, but maybe Henrik has it.

Peter tells Jason it’s starting to feel like an interrogation. Jason asks if Faison mentioned Henrik. Peter says no, but thanks him for the bullet that took Faison out. Jason wonders why Faison would have come to the Crimson office. Peter says he was there dropping off a report, but maybe Faison wanted to get to Maxie. Jason can’t figure out why he wouldn’t have gone to her apartment, and instead went to the office where there could be witnesses like Peter?

Rita is glad Mike is okay, and Mike asks why he wouldn’t be? Sonny asks for moment, and Rita says she has to open the bar anyway. She tells Sonny not to be a stranger, and leaves. Mike says it’s good to see him and they make small talk. He’s sorry about Morgan, and says no parent should have to bury a child. He tells Sonny that he had a week of masses said, and Sonny thanks him. He’s sorry he couldn’t have been there, and wishes he’d been the kind of father Sonny could turn to for support. He’s sorry about all of it. Sonny asks what trouble he’s gotten himself into?

Doc suggests maybe Franco never pushed Drew, or it was an accident. He was just a small child, and children are impulsive. Franco says it wasn’t an accident, but Doc thinks maybe he’s begging to be branded a lost cause to protect himself. Franco says he’s trying to protect Elizabeth and the kids. Doc asks if he’s ever had the impulse to hurt any of them, and Franco says, no. Doc asks if that doesn’t speak volumes. Franco says it doesn’t prove he’s cured, and Doc says it doesn’t prove he’s not. If there’s even the whisper of a chance he could hurt them, he’d need to get away, even if breaks his heart.

Elizabeth tells Griff that she and Franco finally set a date. She says it’s a struggle for him to be happy, and he tends to self-sabotage. Griff says it’s a process, and he needs to trust it. Elizabeth says process should be his middle name. He needs to learn to get out of his own way. Griff thinks that’s a lesson for all of them. Elizabeth asks does he ever wonder if Ava will revert to her old ways, and how that would change everything? He says he thinks about there always being that chance, but he has faith. They toast to faith with their water bottles.

Nelle tells Ava that she’s going to hit Carly where it hurts, and knows exactly how to do it.

Carly tells Michael that Nelle tried to slap her, but she has excellent reflexes. He asks how it went down, because Michael talks like a combination hippie/gangster from the 70s. He knows it didn’t happen out of the blue. Carly says she knows how to push Nelle to the breaking point, and Michael asks if she said Nelle would be an unfit mother. She says it could have happened that way, but it was more like she intimated he would think so. Michael tells her that’s not fair. She says she had no idea how Nelle would react, and she knows he wouldn’t allow a child to be in danger. He tells her to trust him. He gets it, and everything will work out. Carly tells him, if he says so.

Sam says maybe Henrik had Anna followed, but Drew asks how he would know that the flash drive was in the ornament? She says maybe he had audio surveillance, and beat her to the park. Drew says the problem is that they don’t know who Henrik is or how to find him. Even though neither one of them are comfortable with the procedure, if she wants an adventure, they should go looking for the flash drive. They can call Anna, and find out what she knows. Sam thinks they should call Jason too, but Drew says to leave him out for now. Anna can tell them what they need to know. They still have a company to run, and he has a meeting with Peter. Sam says she’ll meet Drew later at home.

Jason tells Peter that Faison wouldn’t make a move unless it was calculated. Peter says he could have had Maxie followed. Jason says she got there after he did, and Peter says maybe his car was faster. Or maybe he used the Star Trek transporter. Peter says he’s sorry Jason can’t get answers from Faison, but he’s not sure how he can help. Jason asks if he knows anything about the flash drive. Peter days that Drew grilled Faison, and nothing came from it. The officer comes back, saying the office is almost cleared for reentry. They never found the bullet, so if the staff comes across it… Peter says they’ll be the first call.

Nelle goes to Sonny’s house. She tells Michael she’s glad he’s there for this. She tells Carly she wants to apologize. She lost her temper. Carly admits she was out of line too. Nelle says all is forgiven. She knows she caused everyone pain, and wants to make it up. Carly says it’s not necessary, and Nelle says she thought of the perfect way.

Sonny tells Mike that Caruso called with some concerns, and asks if Mike is a bag man; it’s what Rita told him. He says it’s a bad idea, but Mike asks how he’s supposed to get job at his age, and with his history? Caruso called with an offer, and he took it. Sonny asks what kind of trouble he’s in, and Mike asks if Sonny is checking up on him. Sonny says guys came by looking for ten grand that wasn’t delivered. What happened to the money?

Peter tells the officer that maybe the gun misfired; he doesn’t know much about firearms. He wonders if he should add that to his statement, and the officer says he’ll be in touch. When he’s gone, Jason says he didn’t know about the missing bullet. Peter says that man had a badge, and Jason doesn’t. If he has any further questions, he needs to call for an appointment. Jason says he’ll have Sam set it up.

Doc tells Franco that any root causes, besides the tumor have to be differentiated. Franco says he’s getting married this month, and Doc says he can’t rush the process. Franco asks if Doc told that to Ryan. Doc says his brother was the victim of sex abuse at the hands of their mother, and it caused his psychosis. He died before he could be healed. He thinks Franco can be healed too, if he isn’t already. He’s already proven he can be helped by coming there. There’s hope for him to be happy yet, and Doc wants to prove it.

Sam sees Jason at Aurora, and they soap gaze at each other before the commercial. Sam tells Jason that Drew wants to look for the flash drive. She’d suggested they work with him, but Drew disagreed. Jason says she can ask him anything anytime. Sam says Drew wants them to do it alone, and she’s not going behind his back. He thinks they could go farther if they shared information. She says he likes working with Sonny and Spinelli, and Drew likes working with her. She wishes they would treat each other like the brothers they are, but doesn’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon. They’re Danny’s parents. That’s never going to change, but outside of that, she doesn’t think they’ll be seeing much of each other. She tells him to take care. He gives her a puzzled look, and tells her she knows where to find him if she needs him. He walks away, and she sighs. It’s catching.

Peter tells Drew there’s something he should know. Drew’s brother came see him. He wanted answers about Faison. He has no idea why Jason came to him. He never laid eyes on Faison before that night.

Franco tells Elizabeth that he took her advice and saw Doc; they just had a session. Doc thinks he can help, and there might be hope for him after all. She says she knows there is.

Ava asks how Griff is; she knows last night was rough. He says he’s hanging in there. She asks if there’s anything she can do, and he says she’s doing it. She’s exactly what he needs. They kiss.

Mike can’t believe Sonny thinks he stole money. He says he takes his job seriously. Sonny asks where the $10K is, and tells Mike to admit. He’ll take care of it. Sonny thinks it’s just the tip of the iceberg, and the last thing he wants to hear is that Mike is dead on the street. He asks how much Mike owes, and Mike says he’s nothing but an obligation to Sonny. Sonny asks what happened, but Mike says he doesn’t know.

Michael tells Nelle that she doesn’t have to do anything. She says she came up with an idea everyone will love. She’s decided whether it’s a boy or girl, she’ll name the baby Morgan.

No preview, but at least George Stephanopoulos waited until the actual show was over to tell us about the DOW plunge. He claims Wall Street veterans saw this coming. Please, so did I. And so did anyone who pays attention. That’s how it works.

Vanderpump Rules

Stassi and James meet with Lisa. She asks if they’re ready for tomorrow. It’s her inauguration for being the new editor and chief at Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine. She wants it to be a beautiful night, and go without a hitch. Stassi assures her it will go perfectly. Lisa says it had better, or she’ll be the one looking like an idiot. James tells her that he can handle both parties, since his weekly DJ gig is the same night. After Lisa leaves. Stassi tells James he can bring his boyfriend if he wants. He tells her to shut up, and says that Raquel is pissed.

Schwartz and Tom meet with MJ, the dude who did their suits for the wedding. The triplets are thirty, and live at home with mom in Florida. Tom wants to do a more extensive makeover than he did for the wedding. Schwartz says Katie has gone from tequila Katie to chamomile tea Katie, and she’s being cool about them staying at their place. In her interview, Katie says she’s trying to be a supportive wife.

Billie Lee meets Stassi at SUR. Her podcast, Straight Up with Stassi, is still a priority, and she thinks Billie would be an incredible guest. Billie just had her nails done, and says the girls had some words about Stassi, and told her to be careful. We see Ariana saying Stassi takes pride in being ignorant, and basically calling her a racist. Stassi tells Billie to listen to the podcast in question – about the Academy Awards speeches being political in talking about race, but as though only African Americans were affected. We hear a clip, and she wonders why there are no mentions of Asians, Latinos, or Native Americans? Apparently, she got a lot of flak for the episode, and was called all kinds of names. I dunno. Sounds like a legitimate question to me. She says ignorant she can accept, but she’s not anti-anyone, unless you’re an a-hole. She gets teary, saying it’s serious to say about someone. Billie says it’s not her perception of Stassi. Stassi removes her eyelashes, and Billie lights some sage. True story. A million years ago, when I was going home from work and taking the subway at 42nd Street, this African American dude dressed in Muslim garb asked me for a dollar. I was polite, but told him no, and he said, “I hate white people.” I told him that I didn’t hate anyone – except a-holes, implying he was one. That’s still my stance.

Katie blows up the air mattress, and talks to the dogs about the triplets coming, saying she’s outnumbered. Tom wants to teach the triplets about building a good foundation with fashion. Good luck with that. Katie tells Jax and Tom there was an electrical fire at SUR. Tom says Jeremy kept the fire from spreading until the fire department came. He asks Jax if he’d be sad if SUR burned down, and Jax says, no. Nice.

The triplets arrive. Tom lays some underwear, shoes, and basic clothing on them. He talks about how he made over Schwartz, and Schwartz says it’s the not-so-extreme makeover – triplet edition. Katie doesn’t mind a houseguest for a few nights, but Schwartz better make sure the place isn’t smelling like socks and farts. Jax is ready to get his house back after being blindsided with Brittany’s mom and sister. He says Kristen’s intention was to get at him, not help Brittany out.

Lisa looks things over at SUR. The electrical cupboard shorted out. The flames didn’t reach the restaurant, but the smoke did. She doesn’t think they can open tonight. Stassi says she has people who are willing to work the party, but some won’t. Ariana has to think about it, since Stassi isn’t her boss. Lisa asks what happened, and Stassi starts crying. She tells Lisa about the girls saying she’s closed- minded, and doesn’t care about social issues. In her interview, Lisa says she thinks a lot of things about Stassi, but racism and homophobia aren’t any of them, and she would never tolerate it. She tells Stassi to pull herself together and do her job.

The crew arrives for work. Lisa doesn’t know how, but they’re going to manage James’s party. Part of the restaurant will be closed. She talks about the magazine party, and suddenly Ariana is okay with working. In her interview, Lisa says Ariana and Stassi are always fighting for queen bee position, but if they’d join together, they’d be unstoppable. She tells them that Stassi is speaking for her, and jokes they should call Stassi Miss Schroeder.

The crew prepares for the party. Pandora wonders where Jax and Ariana are. Ariana finally shows. She’s pissed because she thought she was just pouring wine, and actually has to do some work. She complains to Billie and Lala. Stassi is mad at herself for not learning that Jax can’t be counted on, and now she has to bartend.

Giggy! Stassi tells Lisa that Jax isn’t answering his phone. Lisacan’t believe he has the nerve to let her down after the passes she’s given him. Brittany arrives, and says he’s still at home. Lisa calls him an unreliable ass, and Max takes over. Lisa asks Brittany to help Ariana. Brittany says Jax is dragging her down with him.

Billie tells Lala about the podcast. Lala doesn’t think Stassi is ignorant, but she doesn’t think before she speaks. Stassi is proud of herself for not putting her feelings ahead of work. Jax finally rolls in. Lisa says he’s an hour late, and calls him a selfish a-hole. He apologizes, saying it’s okay, and she says it’s not okay. I hate that too, when people say it’s okay when it’s not. In his interview, Jax says it’s just rich people having free drinks, and doesn’t think it’s a big deal. Have I mentioned how much I hate Jax? Lisa tells us that she tries not to lose her temper, but if no one is calling him out for being an a-hole, she’s going to do it. She tells Jax to get lost, and Stassi says he’s the same old unreliable Jax.

Jax whines to the guys that he should be working the party, but showed up thirty minutes late, and got kicked out. (Has he met Dorit?) Schwartz says Jax is always in trouble with something. In his interview, Jax asks what he’s done differently than his friends? They’ve all lied, cheated, and been late to work. Well, for one thing, he’s lived about ten years longer, and should know better. He takes a swig of his beer, and hits his tooth with the bottle. I laugh. Schwartz suggests Jager bombs (ugh! ptooey!), and Jax complains that he’s trying to tell them his feelings.

Mark, the president of the magazine, introduces Lisa as the new editor and chief. She says it’s bittersweet, since Mark’s father passed away two weeks ago. She promises to hold the standard as high as her heels, and will endeavor to take over the reins.

Katie tells Lisa that while she was pouring champagne, Kevin Lee asked her what happened that she gained so much weight, said she needs to work on it, and wouldn’t drop it. Lisa is furious, and wonders if he’s lost his mind. She says it’s never okay for a man to comment in a derogatory way about a woman’s appearance. She tells Katie that she’s gorgeous, and don’t tell her otherwise. Katie starts to cry, and Lisa reminds Katie that she fell through a skylight. We see an old video of Katie, with her jaw wired, talking about falling twenty-five feet and down a flight of stairs. She explains that everything comes into perspective when you cheat death. You can’t help but look at things differently. In her interview, Katie says they could have removed the scar, but it would have erased a monumental moment in her life. Lisa tells her that she went through something crazy, but she’s still her. Katie thanks her, and they hug.

James moves on to the next party, yelling about it to the people he passes on the way. A lot of the group is already there, and the girls who were working the magazine party join them. Jax keeps insisting he was only thirty minutes late. Kristen, Stassi, and Katie sit outside. Katie tells them about Kevin commenting on her weight. In her interview, Stassi wonders who he thinks he is, and if the only attractive body is supposed to be really skinny. Katie says he told her he was shocked at how big she was. BTW, she’s not big by any stretch of the imagination. She tells them if he’d said that last year, with the place she was in, she wouldn’t have been able to take it. In her interview, she says she’s been trying to work on a positive body image, getting in shape, and feeling good. It was a bit of a slap in the face. Kristen says only people who hate themselves say sh*t like that. Kristen is like the voice of reason this time around. Who would have known? Stassi tells them about what Billie said before the podcast, and how she was told she should be scared of Stassi. Like she was only there to trick her. In her interview, Stassi says one good thing about being busy and stressed is that she got to forget, and take a break from feeling sh*tty about herself. She feels mortified, and needs to take her lashes off again.

Jax wishes he could trade places with the triplets. I wish he could too. In her interview, Kristen says Jax only cares about Jax. He tells the table that Kristen is trying to poison his relationship, she’s the fakest bitch ever, and the most annoying person he’s ever met. In her interview, Kristen says she’s a lightning rod for Jax’s hatred. Jax asks Scheana if he got involved in her divorce, and she’s like as a matter-of-fact, he made a few comments. We flash back to him sticking his nose totally into her business. He says his relationship is nobody’s business. At the other table, Brittany tells him to look at her, but he’s on a roll. She goes over, and tells him to calm down. He’s talking about one of her best friends, and she can hear every word he’s saying. He needs to be careful. This isn’t them moving forward and making things better; he’s making things worse. She can hear him screaming, and acting like a lunatic. She thought Kristen bringing her family to her was a great thing to do. He needs to watch his tone, watch what he’s saying, and be respectful toward women. Go, Brittany! Although it’s doubtful he’ll listen. Scheana says that he’s almost forty. He needs to watch his blood pressure. Ha-ha! I’ll bet that hurt worse than anything Brittany had to say.

Tom asks how the magazine party was, and Katie tells the group about what Kevin said. Schwartz says he’s just bitchy. Tom says he’d tell him eff-you. In her interview, Katie says a man should never comment on a woman’s body. She thinks as long as a woman feels good in her own skin and is happy with her body, it shows, and nothing more beautiful. She tells them to have fun, and leaves. She’s replaced by the man glam squad, who comes to give the triplets haircuts. Schwartz thinks it’s a major success, and wants to savor the moment. They get dressed in their new clothes. Schwartz says he’s biased, but you won’t meet sweeter guys. The looks on their faces make him smile. They go out on the town.

Idiot Jax goes to the Kelsey the Reiki master. She asks why he’s so angry? In his interview, he tells us that he’s going to two therapists. We see his talk therapist giving him a startled look when he says something incredibly selfish. He says Kelsey sees the good in him, and it means a lot. She makes him repeat a bunch of stupid stuff about owning his anger, and has him take deep breaths. She asks what was the first thing on his path to destruction, and he says getting into acting. It’s a disgusting life, full of rejection, and when you are picked, you’re just being used. Pretty much like any job, but it can pay a lot more. He says he chose to go down that path, and he owns it. He’s work in progress. Argh! Another buzz-phrase I hate. To her credit, Kelsey says, we all are, and can learn. He can be a better Jax. Jax tells her to call him Jason, which is his real name. In his interview, he says that when he was nineteen or twenty, he started living in a fictitious world. He had to tell stories for people to like him. He wants to know Jason again. He tears up, and Kelsey asks if he feels authentic. He does, and they hug.

Next time, both Ariana and Stassi have a birthday, Lisa talks to Brittany about Jax, Stassi has a murder-themed birthday, and leaves her own party.

General Hospital

Maxie sees Nathan next to her in bed. He asks how she slept, and says she looks like she’s seen a ghost.

Ava comes into Kelly’s. The waitress comments on her hair, telling her how great it looks; she can actually see her face now. Ava remembers Carly and Sonny saying that she’s ugly on the inside, and her telling them that her daughter would know her. She spills the coffee. Kiki walks in with Avery.

Sonny talks to Caruso on the phone, and asks what about his father? What kind of trouble is he in?

Carly tells Nelle that she always knew there was something deranged behind her eyes. She asks how crazy you have to be to spend a year in a mental hospital, and how crazy Nelle is now? Nelle should ask her the same about Morgan. Regardless of how manipulative Nelle is, this is starting to tick me off. Nelle tells her it’s none of her business, and Carly says it is; she cares about her grandchild. Nelle says if she cares about the baby to back off, since stress isn’t good for it. Carly says Nelle is volatile and her judgement is questionable. That’s not good for a mother. Nelle asks if Carly is going to try to say she’s unfit. Carly says not her, but if Michael were to think that she was… Nelle raises her hand to smack Carly, and Carly stops her, saying she shouldn’t have done that.

Jason tells Drew and Sam that they were working on theories, including Faison saying that Drew knows more than he realizes. Drew sarcastically says Faison is a very believable guy. Sam asks Jason to tell them everything he knows. If Drew really did know Henrik, it might spark something.

Maxie says Nathan is there, and he asks where else he’d be? He has the late shift, and they can spend the whole day together. She tells him that she had a horrible dream. Faison came to her office, and Nathan saved her. Nathan says of course he would, but she says it’s not just that. Faison shot him, and he didn’t make it; she lost him. He says it’s all right. They start to kiss, and she wakes up. She cries, saying, don’t let this be real.

Kiki asks Ava what’s wrong, and Ava says it’s just a klutzy waitress. The waitress gives her the stink eye as she cleans up. Way to make friends. Ava asks her to make another, and make sure the lid is on tight. Ava offers to treat Kiki and Avery to some hot chocolate, but Kiki says Avery will be pinging off the walls with the sugar. Ava says she knows it’s a lot to ask, and Kiki tells her, then don’t. Carly and Sonny have been decent, and she wants to honor their wishes.

Carly says Nelle has a violent streak, and Nelle says Carly provoked her. Carly accuses her of being a perpetual victim. Nelle says she wanted a reaction, and got one. She’s sure Carly is going to run off and tell Michael. Carly says he needs to know Nelle slapped her and that she lost control. She can’t blame it on the hormones. God help me; I’d like to slap Carly. I certainly wouldn’t goad a pregnant woman. Nelle says she has no right to bring up the past. It has no bearing on who she is today, or her capacity to be a mother. Carly disagrees, but says she’s been wrong before. She doesn’t have to bring Nelle down. Nelle is her own worst enemy, and handling the job fine on her own.

Drew asks Jason if Henrik and the traitor are the same person. Jason says they think so. Klein was working for a client who wanted him brought back to Russia. He thinks the client wanted him contained before Faison found out he was alive. The client was in Port Charles, but they found out nothing until they found Britt. She said Faison freaked out when he discovered Jason was alive, and said the traitor double-crossed him. Britt said she had no idea who it was, but when they found Britt, they found something else – a manuscript by PK Sinclair. Faison didn’t write it, but when he read it, he tried to burn it. Drew asks what it was about, and Jason says the main character was betrayed and destroyed by his son. Sam asks if he thinks the main character is Henrik.

At Maxie’s apartment, Nina looks at a picture of Maxie and Nathan. Maxie comes out, and tells her that she had the worst nightmare. She’d woken up, and Nathan was there like nothing happened. She was so relieved; her heart unfroze. She held him, and could feel him, warm and alive. Just as they were about to kiss, she woke up. She knows she was dreaming, and now she’s awake, but she can’t help but feel it was real, and this is the nightmare. She needs Nina to make her hear it. Nina says, Nathan is gone.

Jason figures the traitor, the client, and PK Sinclair are the same person, and also Faison’s son. They made contact. Drew notices that Jason keeps saying “they,” and asks who he’s working with. Jason says, Sonny and Spinelli. They went to Anna, who said she had no idea there was a son. Spinelli found an email for PK Sinclair. They reached out, and he replied. Obrecht confirmed there was a son, and they wanted to set up a meeting. Drew asks if he knew before the wedding. Jason says he did, and Drew says, yet he chose to keep it to himself.

Carly asks Sonny if everything is okay. He tells her that his old associate from the city called with information about his father, Mike. He’s is living in Brooklyn, and got himself in trouble. He’s guessing Mike fell off the wagon, is gambling again, and owes the wrong people. He tells Carly he’s going to Brooklyn, and she says something doesn’t feel right.

Ava tells Kiki she needs this. Kiki says Sonny and Carly were clear about the rules. Ava did something she can’t take back. Ava asks if Kiki thinks keeping her child from her is okay. Kiki says they have their reasons, and she can’t say she’s in complete disagreement. Ava says that Avery deserves to know her mother. She just wants to hold her for a minute. Kiki hands her over. Ava tells Avery how much she loves her, and tells Kiki that Avery isn’t afraid this time. It makes everything she went through worth it. She tells Kiki that she had a dream where Carly and Sonny were telling her that Avery would never know her, but here she is now. Kiki says Michael is coming in, and he can’t see Ava with her.

Maxie asks Nina where her parents are, and Nina says they were up all night, so she thought she would come. Maxie appreciates it, but says she doesn’t need a babysitter. Nina says it helps them to help her. She suggests Maxie have some yogurt; it’s good for the baby. She goes to look for Maxie’s vitamins, and Maxie sees literature from the funeral parlor on the table.

Kiki asks Ava to give Avery back. She does, and goes to the counter, where the waitress continues to throw shade with her eyes. Michael is happy to see his little sister and big sister. Kiki tells him about taking Avery to the botanical gardens. He sees Ava, and Kiki explains they just bumped into her; it wasn’t planned, and Ava was just leaving. Ava says she supposes she was. When she gets outside, she looks at them through the window.

Carly tells Sonny that Mike hasn’t gambled since Sonny put him in a program years ago. Sonny has kept tabs on him, and would have known. Sonny says if Mike wants to gamble, he will, and if it’s his first time hearing about it, that means he’s in with the wrong crowd. Carly tells him to at least take Jason.

Drew says that Jason told them to get out of town, but never mentioned Faison’s son. Jason thought when he got something concrete, he’d share it. He and Anna waited for Henrik in the park, but that’s when the trouble happened at the hotel. Drew wonders if Henrik could have shown up afterward, but Jason says Anna was there the whole night. She thought someone might have been watching, but never revealed themselves. Drew says he could have been there, and approached him. Jason says he was keeping Sam and the kids safe. He tells them the email account has been shut down, but Faison told him Henrik was hiding in plain sight. Drew thinks Faison could have just been making him chase his own tail and look for a ghost. Jason says he’ll let them know if he finds anything, and Drew says, truthfully this time? He leaves, and Drew tells Sam if they want to find Henrik, they’ll have to do it on their own.

Ava sees Nelle at the MetroCourt. Nelle apologizes, saying she knows they were supposed to meet a buyer in the lobby. Ava says the buyer canceled, and asks Nelle who she was picturing when she impaled the cherry in her drink? Carly? Nelle says Carly is upping her game by digging into her past. Ava says, not to scare her, but be prepared. Anything Carly finds out about her past that she can use, she will, to prove Nelle is an unfit mother.

Jason shows up at Sonny’s place, and Carly tells him there’s a problem. Sonny says Mike is in trouble, but Carly says she’s not convinced. Why would he start gambling again? Sonny says maybe he hooked up with a friend, found a sure thing, fell behind in his rent, and thought he’d use the card tables to compensate. He can’t help himself. Carly thinks it’s a trap. What if Faison set him up? Jason says Faison is dead. Carly asks why Sonny didn’t tell her, and he says he was going to, but things came up. Sonny leaves, and Carly asks Jason if he’s really dead. Jason says he is, and Carly says he won’t get his answers. Jason tells her he did get some answers. Faison told him why he was replaced with Drew. Faison’s mental conditioning didn’t work on him because of his brain damage. Drew was used because Faison and Henrik needed an asset they could control. Carly says he did blow up The Haunted Star. She asks if he’s told Drew, and Jason says, yes, but he told Sam first.

Drew tells Sam that they need to go to Anna. Andre gave her the flash drive. Sam says he put it in a Christmas ornament, and Anna didn’t even know she had it. Drew says she’s close to the situation. She confirmed Faison had a son, and has WSB contacts. Sam is afraid the problem is that they’ll be doing what he said Faison wanted Jason to do – run in circles chasing a ghost.

Maxie looks at a funeral brochure, and asks, what’s this? Nina says she and Felicia thought it might give her some ideas, so she’s not so overwhelmed. Maxie pushes everything onto the floor, saying she’s way past overwhelmed. They should be planning a nursery, not his funeral. Nina says she just wanted to help. Maxie says her husband dead. Everything she counted on and dreamed of, plans for her whole life disappeared in the time it took Faison to pull the trigger. Unless Nina can bring him back from the dead, there’s nothing she can do. Nina says she’s sorry, but she lost her brother too. They hug and cry.

Jason tells Carly that he went to tell Drew, and Sam showed up as he was leaving. He explains how Faison found Drew by accident when he was researching a SEAL team, and saw Jason’s face. It was hard for Sam, knowing it was so random. If he’d looked at another team, things might have gone differently. Carly says, it never would have happened, but Jason tells her not to look at it that way. Carly says she can see Sam’s point of view. Now Maxie is grieving the way Sam grieved for him.

Sam says even if they find Henrik and he cooperates, what can he tell them? They still need the flash drive, and it’s gone. Drew says they’ve talked about it more than once, but he can’t go on with Jason’s memories in his head. He needs to know who he is for both their sakes.

Ava tells Nelle it was all she could do to convince Kiki to let her hold Avery. Nelle says Carly is using Avery as a wedge between her and Kiki. Ava says Carly has no limits when it comes to protecting whoever she deems family, even if it means keeping a child away from their rightful parent. Nelle says, like Michael’s biological father, adding, as if Carly has led a spotless life. Ava calls Carly a staggering hypocrite. Nelle should try to strengthen her bond with Michael, and hopefully, he’ll be more open-minded. Sonny didn’t hesitate to swoop in while Ava was in the burn unit, and got full custody of Avery, so they have all the power. Nelle asks, who says she has to take it lying down?

Kiki wants to make it clear to Michael that she respects his parents’ limits. It was selfish of her mom to push it. Michael is sorry she’s stuck in the middle. Kiki says, not really, but Michael says she is Kiki’s mom, so she can’t be indifferent. He knows his kid will feel the same about Nelle. Kiki asks if they’re really trying to co-parent. He says the emphasis is on trying. They’re making things up as they go along. Kiki thinks he’s going to be a great dad. She remembers how he was with Avery. She and Morgan were wrong. Michael says he was no shining angel, but Kiki says he was the one willing to look past his own hurt, and do what’s right. She knows he’ll do that with his own kid.

Nina knows how Maxie feels; she’s grieving too. She thinks about things Nathan did as a child, and then things he said last week. She missed so many years with him, but she was lucky to have seen the man he became. Maxie says he was a spectacular man, with kindness and heart. She knew it the first night they met. We flash back to when Maxie was leaving to find herself. Nathan tells her that she doesn’t seem bad the way she is, and she tells him not to burn the apartment down. She and Nina hold hands.

Sonny uses the Star Trek transporter to get to Mike’s apartment in Brooklyn. He bangs on the door, yelling that Mike isn’t answering his phone. He came all the way out there; now open up.

Michael tells Kiki passing her medical exams is a big deal, and she should be proud of herself. He congratulates her, and she says now she just needs to attend med school and get a degree. He asks her what someone who’s the last in their med school class is called, and she says, a doctor. BA-DUM-CHH! She tells him she’s always had trouble sticking to anything, but he says with this, she let nothing stand in her way. She says, not even Dillon, and asks if he heard they broke up. He says he got that impression, and he’s sorry. Kiki knows he had mixed feelings, and he asks what happened. She says they gave each other space to pursue their goals, and got lost in it. He says it’s hard to develop a relationship when you’re separated. She says it goes both ways. The more time you share, you get close, whether you want to or not. Hmm… is she talking about Griff or Dr. Bensch?

Ava advises Nelle to make Michael an ally. Carly is relentless. She wouldn’t stop until she pried Avery away from her. Nelle says Ava can be relentless too. Look at her face. She took control of her destiny, and did the impossible. Why not again? Ava says she’ll think about it. Nelle says if they play it right, she can get her child back, and Nelle won’t lose hers in the first place. Ava tells her not to underestimate Carly. Once she puts a target on your back, she won’t rest until she takes you out. Nelle says she has no choice but to take Carly out first.

Carly tells Jason that people say heartbroken all the time, but really mean disappointed, sad, or upset. Heartbroken is what it sounds like; your heart is broken. You can’t breathe. It’s like a weight on your chest. The pain is so strong, you can’t move. Like how it was for Sam when he disappeared. She kept going for Danny’s sake, and did okay. She built a life for herself, and was as happy as she could be with a broken heart. Then, he comes back. Not someone she thinks is him, but him, and she’s not heartbroken anymore. She’s confused, and doing the wrong thing for what she thinks is the right reason, but she knows he’s alive in the world. When she comes up with the courage be with him, she can. Jason tells her to stop it. She says she knows he’s trying to do the noble thing, and wants Sam to be happy, but her love isn’t going away. Waiting for her to admit it, isn’t doing anyone any good. He loves her. Go and fight for her.

Drew tells Sam that his only valid memories are from the past three years, there in Port Charles. She asks what about Kim, but he says it was just a flicker of recognition. Sam says if his memories are gone, that wouldn’t have happened. Faison said that the mind control wouldn’t work on Jason because of his brain damage, but maybe it didn’t fully work on him either, or the process wasn’t as good as they thought. She believes who he is, is still inside of him. They don’t need the flash drive. He can remember on his own.

Maxie looks at the brochure again. She asks Nina to go through it with her. They can figure out what Nathan would want. Nina thinks Maxie should do it with her mom. Maxie says it’s the hardest thing she’ll ever have to do, but she’s doing it for Nathan, and it would be nice if Nina helped her. Nina says okay; they’re family. We see Nathan sitting behind them on the couch. He kisses the tops of both their heads. They look at each other. <sniffle>

On Monday, Griff wishes he had done more for Nathan, Nelle says Carly isn’t an issue anymore, and Michael asks what Carly did. Everything. Carly is the worst.

🍗 It was the Hell’s Kitchen finale tonight. Benjamin and Michelle were the final two, and their families joined them before they had to get cooking. This is also where the previous contestants help the final two in the kitchen. I always think this must be a double-edged sword. You know they’re good, but you can’t help wonder if they’re going to throw a hair into the soup. Michelle won the big prize – being head chef at Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in Vegas with a $250K salary – amid much fanfare and confetti. Benjamin said he had no regrets. I’m guessing he won’t do too badly in his next endeavor.

🎤 After its fake quick retirement, American Idol will be back on Sunday, March 11th. Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Katy Perry will be judging, and the hardest working man in show business (besides Tyler Perry), Ryan Seacrest will be back to host. I’ve heard we won’t be privy to the bad auditions, so why bother? I actually haven’t paid much attention to the show since Scotty McCreery’s win. It was such a stellar season – and with Lady Gaga coaching and performing – I just felt it couldn’t be topped. I’ll probably take a peek somewhere along the line though.

General Hospital

At the MetroCourt, Carly sees Nelle eating with Monica and Michael, and wonders what she’s up to. Josslyn brings in the dress Carly ordered for her. It’s not what they ordered. We never saw what they ordered, but it is kind of hideous. Although I’m thinking, since it’s an alternative dance, the drag queens might like it. There’s a note saying the dress was out of stock, and here’s something better, signed Brenda. Carly says she did it just to spite her. Josslyn says she can’t wear it. She’s telling Oscar they’re not going. Carly tells her not to do that, and says mom always comes through.

Nelle thanks Monica for including her. Monica is glad she and Michael are being civil, and is sure they agree the best thing for the child is if the parents on the same page

Scotty meets Franco, who got to Kelly’s early to stress eat. He needs to ask Scotty something, and Scotty tells him to spit it out. Franco says it’s about his wedding. He needs for his father to come through for him. Scotty says he’s not paying for wedding, but Franco wants Scotty to give him away.

At the hospital, Elizabeth asks Drew if he isn’t supposed to be on his honeymoon. He says there was a change of plans. Can she get him in to see Faison?

Sonny asks Anna if she’s slept, and she says, no; she had a lot of forms to fill out. Sonny says he hopes they bury Faison, and Anna says he’s in luck.

Jason comes by Aurora, but Sam says Drew is at the hospital. He wants to talk to Faison. Jason says, too late; Faison is dead. These people are seriously messing with me this week.

Monica leaves for work. Nelle asks if Michael meant what he said, or was it for Monica’s benefit. He says the more they cooperate, the better it is for the baby.

Carly promises Josslyn that they’ll find something. If it’s not in Port Charles, they’ll go to NYC. She’s sending the dress back with her own note. Josslyn steps away, and Carly gets a call from Sharon. She tells Sharon that she wanted to dig up dirt on Nelle, but decided to let it go. She listens, then says it didn’t come up on the initial report, and asks Sharon to continue.

Franco says he’s giving Scotty a chance to compensate for all the T-ball games Scotty missed in his youth. Scotty tells Franco to calm down. Franco says he doesn’t need Scotty’s blessing, or his arm. Scotty asks if Franco doesn’t think the wedding will happen. Franco wonders why invest anything if it’s just going to fall apart. Scotty says he can’t keep up with him. He tells Franco that his own father always gave it to him straight, and he thinks the only person doesn’t believe in Franco is Franco. Why torture himself with the bad seed business? He needs to drop it.

A surgeon tells Doc it’s highly unusual. Doc says the WSB signed off on it, and Anna agrees his interest in the case is well-founded. They go into the morgue; Doc carrying a jar.

Sonny tells Anna it’s too bad it took so long; much of Anna’s pain could have been avoided. Anna says it’s what he wanted. He asks if Maxie knows. Anna says she hasn’t talked to Maxie, but she told Robin, and they talk all the time. She says Maxie is devastated. Sonny says that kind of grief makes you lost, and you can’t find your way. He asks Anna what’s the other reason she’s there. Now that Faison is dead, she wants to know Sonny’s intentions.

Elizabeth tells Drew that Faison went into cardiac arrest, and there was no way to revive him. Drew says he’s faked his death before. She says the WSB ordered an autopsy. He’s really dead. Really? A major villain, and fan favorite (also mine), and we didn’t get to see it? Really?

Jason tells Sam that Faison died of complications from the gunshot wound. Sam says that means Jason killed him. Good. He got what he deserved. Faison took him away from her and Danny, took everything away from Jason, took Jason’s chances, and took whatever chance at life they had together. She hates him for that, and is glad he’s dead. Jason – a man of few words – says, him too.

Nelle tells Michael that Monica is taking her shopping for the baby, and asks if he wants to join them. He says he has to go to work. Carly calls him over. He tells her that he worries about her charging into things, and she says she didn’t ask Faison to take her hostage, and Jason was there. She’s sorry he was too late to save Nathan. Michael says that Dante called to tell him how much he means to him. Carly says when something horrible happens, it sweeps away the petty things, and shows you what really matters; family matters. She says this is her roundabout way of saying she found out something about Nelle.

Scotty tells Franco he doesn’t know if he pushed Drew or he fell. Franco says Betsy sent Drew away to protect him from something. It’s not a huge intellectual leap to figure out that he might be it.  Franco tells Scotty about Doc’s study regarding people who are capable of violence, and what makes them tick biologically. Scotty calls it hogwash. He tells Franco that if he thinks he’s crazy, he’s got nothing on Doc.

The surgeon pulls back the sheet to reveal Faison. He prepares to open Faison’s skull.

Sonny tells Anna that he wants to find Faison’s son. He reached out by email, but the account for PK Sinclair has been disabled. It looks like he doesn’t want to talk to them anymore.

Elizabeth tells Drew that he can live his own life going forward. Drew says that’s the plan.

Scotty tells Franco to forget about it. He has enough to worry about with the wedding. He says, what father would let his son down? He won’t walk him down the aisle, but wants Franco to make him best man. He has trouble with the father/son dance thing. Franco suggests the Macarena.

Sam guesses she’s indirectly responsible for bringing Faison there. She tells Jason it’s her publication that ran the article. Lulu wrote the article, but she put Peter in charge. He nearly got shot, but at least he got closure. He went to the hospital to confront Faison. Jason says he talked to Faison too, and Faison told him why he replaced him with Drew. Sam asks if Jason believes him, and Jason says it made sense. Faison’s mind control wouldn’t work on him, so he gave Jason’s skill to someone he could control. She wonders how he found Drew, and Jason says he was researching a SEAL team, and saw Drew’s face. He took Drew, and took him, and they know the rest. Sam says, it’s just that random. Faison might not have found him or taken Jason, and their lives would be completely different right now.

Nelle sees Josslyn, and says she hasn’t seen her in a while. Josslyn says things have been tense between Nelle and her family, but Nelle says they’re working it out. Nelle tells Josslyn that they’re cool; they share a kidney. Since she and Michael are having a baby, they actually are family. She asks if Josslyn is ready to be an aunt. Josslyn gets excited, and Nelle asks how things are with Oscar. Josslyn says they’re supposed to go to a dance, but there’s been drama over her dress. The one she tried to get is sold out. Nelle asks if it’s the one from the November Crimson, and Josslyn shows Nelle a picture of it on her phone. Nelle says she can’t believe it. She got it after working a runway show. She tells Josslyn it’s hers, since they’re practically sisters.

Carly tells Michael that Nelle spent a year in a mental hospital. He asks if she’s still investigating. She says that Sharon called her, and told her that Nelle had a nervous breakdown after Zack died. Michael says he’s known it for months, and Carly asks if Nelle volunteered the information. He says no. He thought he could help her more if he knew what she was going through, and he asked her about it. She said it was a painful time. She was dealing with a lot, and eventually broke. Michael says it doesn’t concern her, but Carly says he concerns her. He says it’s his choice who to get involved with, and she says he’s too forgiving. He says the one person who has no choice is the baby. The baby is going to have to live whatever life he’s made for them. He wants to get along for the baby’s sake. What’s bothering me here, is that Sonny has a mental illness, as did Morgan, and Carly is acting like Nelle committed a crime.

Jason tells Sam that he got no information on Faison’s other son, Henrik. Sam says he tried to make a deal with them. If they helped him escaped, he’d tell them where Henrik is. She wishes they’d taken him up on it. He could have wound up having a heart attack anyway, and they could turn his body over to the WSB and laugh. Jason doesn’t think she’s the type who would stand over someone and laugh. He knows her. Sam has no idea how to grieve for Maxie. Maxie is grieving for Nathan, and she couldn’t stop thinking about it. How you try to fall asleep, but don’t want to because you dream it’s all been a horrible mistake. You’re laughing and smiling, and holding each other. Everything is fine, but you wake up, and live the nightmare again. Sam got the miracle. Maxie won’t. She’ll never open her eyes and see Nathan again the way Sam saw Jason that night on the pier.

Franco (omg, I originally wrote Todd by mistake) goes to the hospital, and sees Elizabeth. She asks if his dad is giving him away. He says gender reversal isn’t Scotty’s thing, but he’s going to be best man. He asks her about Doc’s brother being the inspiration for his work. Elizabeth says it’s personal and painful, but he channeled it into something good. Franco says Scotty doesn’t agree, and Elizabeth says that’s for personal reasons.

The surgeon says Doc got what he came for. Doc looks at the brain floating in his jar, and says he certainly did.

Anna wonders how Henrik is at fault for keeping Jason alive. Faison ordered him to kill Jason. He could have done that, and saved himself a lot of trouble. He chose not to, and Sonny owes him for that. Sonny asks if she doesn’t see the parallels. Robin was kept alive, not because the Cassadines were nice, but because she was useful. Henrik wants to keep Jason alive because he’s a useful hit man. He wonders what happened to Anna that she wants to defend him. She says she wants to debrief him with no interference. Sonny should consider himself done with it. Sonny says, like hell.

Nelle gives Josslyn the dress. Josslyn is thrilled that it’s the right one; she thought it was too good to be true. She’ll owe Nelle forever. Carly comes by, and asks what’s going on? Josslyn says she owes Nelle big time. Nelle says just send her the details and pictures. Josslyn tells Carly that Nell brought the dress they’d planned on getting.

Elizabeth says Scotty isn’t a reliable source when comes to Doc. Franco says he wants no part of it. Doc wants to fix him because he couldn’t fix his brother. Elizabeth says Franco had a brain tumor, Doc’s twin had other issues. Franco asks what shaped Ryan?

Jason thought Sam was too out of it to remember. She says she was, but does remember. She remembers being cold, and coughing up water, but she knew someone was holding her. She looked up, and saw him. We flash back to that. Sam says the strangest part is that she didn’t question it, or think why it was possible. She just knew he was there, and she would be okay. Jason always hoped she felt that way; that she knows he’s there, and will do whatever she needs. Drew arrives, and asks if there’s something he can do for Jason. Nice to see you too.

Anna tells Sonny that it’s WSB business. Sonny says, not if they get there first. He wants Henrik for his own. Anna says she doesn’t like his methods that go outside of the law. It was different when the ends justified the means, but this is an official matter. Stay out. Sonny says this isn’t a jurisdictional issue; it’s personal. Why?

Elizabeth tells Franco that what made Ryan tick is a question for Doc. He can help Franco, if he’ll let him. Think about what he might gain. Franco says what scares him is what he has to work through to be free.

Jason tells Drew that Faison is dead. Drew says he knows. Jason did get some answers as to why they were switched. Drew says, lucky him. Jason tells him that Faison’s mind control wouldn’t work on him because he has brain damage. Drew asks if Faison went looking for Jason’s twin? Jason says, no, but when he was researching a SEAL team, he recognized Jason’s face. He gave Drew to Helena, and Henrik was supposed to kill him, but wouldn’t. Drew says he didn’t know about the flash drive, and wouldn’t talk about Henrik. All he got was a bag of rocks.

Sonny says he’s known Anna for years, but she tells him not to presume he knows her and her motives. Sonny says he knows when someone is hiding something, and there’s more. Anna says, of course there’s more. She’s spent her whole life looking over shoulder, but she didn’t have to grow up with Faison. She wants to question Henrik, and offer him a path to a normal life, an attitude he doesn’t share. Henrik went after Jason once, and Sonny doesn’t want it to happen twice. Anna tells Sonny not to go after him. Sonny tells her not to threaten him; they’re friends. Anna tells him not to change this. He doesn’t want to be her enemy; not in this matter.

Franco walks into Doc’s office, and sees the brain on his desk, and Doc eating some take-out. Franco says, there’s a brain on his desk, and Doc says that’s for the study. He needs to get to the lab, but he missed breakfast. Franco asks if he cuts the brain out of all of his patients, and Doc says only the dead ones. He says it’s not unusual to examine the brain of criminal. Franco says this isn’t making him want to confide in Doc. Doc says he’s just trying to make him laugh. Now that he knows Franco is here to confide, how can he help?

Josslyn tells Nelle the dress is more beautiful than in the magazine. Carly suggests Josslyn put it in the office for safekeeping, and get going to school. Josslyn dances off on a cloud. Nelle says, they grow up so fast. Carly has to hand it to her; she doesn’t miss a trick. Nelle undermined her with Josslyn. Nelle says Josslyn needed the dress, and she just happened to have it. Carly says how convenient. Nelle says it’s convenient for Carly, since she saved her a trip to the city. Carly says she’s trying to break down Michael’s defenses, but it won’t work. Nelle says, it already is.

Nelle tells Carly that nursing a grudge will alienate Michael at the end. They’re going to adore the child, and it will bring them together. Carly says she sounds delusional, but it’s not surprising. She knew something was off about Nelle, something deranged. Sharon gave her the “ah-ha” moment. How crazy must Nelle be to spend a year in an institution? How crazy is she still? Ew. I’m not liking Carly. If you really think someone has a mental illness, this is what you do???

Sonny talks to Brick on the phone about monitoring IP addresses and such. He gets another call from Caruso. He asks what the news is about his father. Faison isn’t his father too, is he? Ha-ha!

Franco asks Doc if he gets confidentiality, and Doc tells him nothing leaves the room. Franco says let’s talk about the mind of a murderer. Most people get started in their teens, but he was precocious. His first attempt was at three years old. Doc tells his secretary to hold all calls, and cancel his appointments for the rest of the day.

The surgeon takes Anna to Faison’s body, and leaves her there alone. She tells Faison he died without ever knowing her secret.

Drew asks how close Jason is to finding Henrik. Jason says he agreed to a meeting, but Henrik never showed. Sam says maybe it was a set-up to distract them. Drew asks how long he’s known about Henrik, and why was he waiting to tell them?

Anna says her whole life, Faison terrorized her. She tried. She had to keep him in the deep recesses of her mind to keep going, and she did for all those years. He was grasping in the dark to get a piece of her soul to call his own, but he never got it. She picks up a scalpel, and cuts off a lock of his hair. She puts it in her pocket.

She says there he is, and she’s still standing. She made it. Does he want to know the kicker? There is a child out there. Their child. He sits up and grabs her, causing us all to have a collective heart attack. He asks if it’s Henrik.

The surgeon comes in and asks what is it? Everything is as it was before, and Anna says, nothing at all.

Tomorrow, Maxie dreams about Nathan, Ava warns Nelle, and Drew asks who Jason is working with.

😐 Pondering…

Okay, I have a couple of questions. If Doc is carrying Faison’s brain, did they take it out through his chest? We see autopsy wounds, but at no time does it look like his head is anything but whole. If Anna had Faison’s child, when did that happen? Was this before Robin? (Although it did cross my mind that she might be Henrik’s mother.) Is Faison really dead? Seriously, we wouldn’t have gotten a death scene? I understand no one is really ever dead. We never saw Nikolas bury Helena either. Speaking of which, we don’t know that Nikolas is dead. Maybe these people are all living on an island somewhere…

👗 This week’s Relative Success with Tabatha found her dealing with a family run clothing company called NewMe. As usual, the dynamics of the family affected the business itself. I once worked for a family run business, and the atmosphere was thicker than the wall of smoke at the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the 70s. Avoid at all costs. In this episode, it was the son having left the family’s Jewish faith that caused part of the problem, but when he left the business, they all got along much better, and the business had a plan and turned a profit. Tabatha also got them organized, and gave me ambition to organize my eBay business better. In my head anyway.

General Hospital

Nathan flatlines.

Lulu writes… Detective Nathan West is fighting for his life, his wife Maxie by his side… according to sources, Detective West went face to face with his father, notorious criminal Cesar Faison… She continues on, telling the story about Maxie being held hostage, and that they’re expecting their first child. Faison fled, but because of Nathan, Maxie and the baby are safe.

Jordan looks at a picture of Faison, and crumples it

At the hospital, Peter looks at the real Faison.

Amy gets Maxie out of the room. Felicia and Mac have arrived, and comfort her in the waiting area.

Amy charges the defibrillator. Griff works on Nathan. In the hallway, Maxie says, come on, Nathan.

Lulu writes… Wheeled out by paramedics, Detective West gave a thumbs up to his wife, a silent gesture that he would be okay, this would not be their ending. It’s the kind of man he is, strong, positive, reassuring others in the face of his own pain… The true definition of a hero.

Griff says, he’s gone. What the what? I swear, after reading the latest Soaps in Depth, I was sure it would be otherwise. Maxie cries, no! but Griff says he’s so sorry; Nathan is gone. Everyone is in tears, and I curse the TV.

Peter sees Sam and Jason outside of Faison’s room at the hospital. Peter tells Drew to take a crack at him, but be warned, he can’t trust a word that bastard says.

Drew and Sam go into Faison’s room. Faison says he sees Drew got the girl – Jason’s wife. He asks if Drew is there to thank him.

Curtis sits with Lulu at Kelly’s. He asks if she’s heard anything about Nathan, and she’s hoping no news is good news. Dante is with him, but hasn’t called. Curtis says he’s there to pick up an order for Jordan, and it’s going to be a long night. He asks what she’s working on, and she tells him an article about Nathan. He hopes it has a happy ending, and she says, it will; it’s got to.

Stella comes by Jordan’s office. She says her landlord is at it again; there’s no heat. Jordan says that’s awful, but Stella doesn’t want her pity; she wants something done about it. Jordan needs evidence of criminal activity, and Stella suggests she come over and take the temperature of the apartment, then find that greedy snake and arrest him.

Griff says he did everything he could, but the damage was too extensive. Maxie wants to see him, and I get distracted by Felicia’s terrific haircut. Amy tells Maxie to take as much time as she needs. Maxie tells Felicia that she doesn’t know how to do this. How does she say goodbye? She tells lifeless Nathan that he helped her recognize she had the strength to save herself, and asks if he remembers that from their wedding vows. She’s trying to find strength now, but it doesn’t work without him; nothing will. She talks about how annoyed they were to be chained together, but would give anything to go back to it. She couldn’t admit it at the time, but she’s standing next to the greatest man she’s ever known. She loves him and always will. She touches her stomach, and says they both will. She kisses Nathan’s hand, and I’m seriously confused. A secret well-kept, I guess, but I feel swindled.

Nina asks Amy if they have to take him soon, and Amy says there’s a procedure they’re supposed to follow, but no rush. Felicia tells Maxie that they have to go now, but Maxie doesn’t think she can leave. Felicia leads her to the door, and she takes a last look. Amy places his hand back under the sheet, thanks him, and says she’ll never forget. She starts to put the sheet over him, but Dante says he’ll take over. He tells Nathan he’s not going to make a big thing, since Nathan would just tell him to shut up. He was the best partner and best friend Dante ever had. He tells Nathan not to worry about Maxie and the baby. He has them. He puts the sheet over Nathan. Oh, I see. He gets to go in, but Nina doesn’t?

Nina can’t believe this is happening; it’s surreal. Valentin tells her how sorry he is. If he could make it so it never happened, he would. She asks him to check on Charlotte. She asks him to tell her that she won’t be there to tuck her in, but she’ll be there in the morning. She needs him to tell her that she loves her. He says he will, and leaves. Nina goes to Maxie, and they cry. She thanks Maxie for loving her brother. She was his world; she loved him like he deserved to be loved. Nina walks into the hallway.

Jordan gets a call from Dante saying Nathan is gone. She asks if he was taken to the morgue, and he says any minute. She hangs up, and tells Stella that one of her detectives was just killed in the line of duty.

Dante sees a message from Lulu, and calls her. He tells her to get over to the hospital. She asks if Nathan is awake, and he tells her to just get to the hospital. She wants him to tell her what’s going on, and he says Nathan didn’t make it. She’s like, no! and he says it happened fast. She asks about Maxie, but says never mind; she’s on her way. Curtis says he’ll take her.

Obrecht tells Dante that Nathan is dead thanks to Lulu. Dante says Lulu didn’t want this, but Obrecht says she made it happen because she’s a vain, shallow excuse for a human being, who had no idea what she was toying with. He did though, and should have stopped her. He asks if he should have stopped Nathan too. He wanted to take the risk. Obrecht says don’t blame him. He was naïve, and his courage led him to make a foolish choice, but Lulu put it in motion because of ambition, after being a reporter for five minutes. Dante says everyone is grieving, and she says, funny, she doesn’t hear him arguing with her.

Sam asks if it amuses Faison to play games with people’s lives. Faison asks her if she’s sure she wants to stay with the replacement, and tells her to go back to the man she loves. She says she’s not letting him play with her head, and Drew asks where the flash drive is. Andre put his old memories on a flash drive, and gave it to Anna. What did he do with it? Faison says he didn’t know it existed. Drew asks what his plan is. What’s his end game, and why keep Jason around? Faison says he wanted to kill Jason. He didn’t keep him alive. He’s too dangerous to have running around. Sam asks, then who? His son, who apparently Drew knows? Faison says, that’s correct. Drew asks where to find Henrik. Faison says let him out, and he’ll tell him, and he’ll answer all his questions. Drew says he’ll go the rest of his life not knowing a damn thing before he helps Faison. He’s going to spend his remaining days in prison; in a cage. Faison says let him make something clear, they still need Henrik. Drew hopes he enjoys hell, and Sam says they’ll find him on their own.

Peter asks Nina what happened. She says her brother is dead, and that SOB killed him. She asks Drew if that’s his room, and runs toward it. Valentin grabs her. She tries to get away, but he holds on to her, and she yells, murderer!

Jordan tells the people at the station that Nathan didn’t make it. It’s rough when they lose one of their own, and she knows they’ll join her in extending their deepest sympathies to the family.

Lulu gets to the hospital, and hugs Dante. He thanks Curtis. Curtis asks if Jordan is there, but he says not yet. Lulu asks how did it happen; how is he gone?

Felicia tells Maxie that she needs to eat, take a shower, and get some rest. Maxie goes back into Nathan’s empty room, and she thinks back to them feeling the baby kick.

Dante thinks Lulu should give Maxie some space. She doesn’t know what to say, and Dante says there’s nothing to say. She’s trying to put herself in Maxie’s position, but her mind shuts down. She can’t even handle the thought, and Maxie is living it. She feels terrible for them both. Nathan was Dante’s brother. She asks what she can do, and Dante says her being there is enough.

Jordan arrives at the hospital. Curtis asks how she’s doing, and she asks how Maxie is. He says beat up, as expected. She says it happened on her watch, but Curtis says she’s not responsible. She tells him Nathan is a good man, a good cop, and about to have a baby; it’s not fair. Curtis says it’s not, and holds her.

Felicia tells Maxie it’s time to go home.

Dante suggest he and Lulu grab coffee, and get some air.

Val brings Nina an empty coffee cup. I swear, they will never learn how to carry a cup so that it looks like it’s full on this show. He wishes he could do more. She asks about Charlotte, and he says she’s fine, and he followed her instructions. Nina says she used to tell Nathan that she wasn’t going to be there when he closed his eyes, but would be when he opened them. She says he’s never going to open his eyes, and cries.

Peter asks Drew if he got any information from Faison. Drew says he wanted to cut a deal. He’d help Drew find his son if Drew helped him escape. Peter says he’s sure Drew laughed in his face, and Drew says, something like that. Peter says Faison is a piece of work. Sam is thinking about Maxie, and how lonely she must feel. A couple of hours ago, everything was fine. Now, just like that, it’s not. It went from light to dark, and everything is different.

Amy brings out Nathan’s bag of belongings, but no one is left in the waiting room. She hugs the bag.

Peter goes into Faison’s room. He tells Faison that he looks positively cadaverous. They might wheel him to the morgue before he’s ready. Faison says Peter would love that, and Peter asks if he can he blame him. He asks Faison how he’s feeling, and Faison says like he was shot. Peter says he has to admit Jason does good work. He couldn’t have found a better spot. Faison says, enough; what does he know about a flash drive? Peter says he doesn’t owe Faison any explanation; he doesn’t owe him anything. He says their days together are over, and calls him dad. This revelation is about as astounding as when George Michael came out.

Mac and Felicia take Maxie home. Maxie thinks about Christmas, and the stockings hanging on the mantel, including a tiny one for the baby. In her flashback, Nathan says, it’s perfect, and the prospect of being a father will turn him to mush. Mac suggests going to their place. There’s a knock at the door, and Amy gives him the bag of Nathan’s belongings. He thanks her. Mac starts to put them aside, and Maxie asks what he’s doing. He says there’s plenty of time to go through them, but she wants to do it now.

Peter asks Faison if he has any idea how exhausting it was, year after year, seeking his approval, and constantly being rebuffed. A light bulb finally came on, and he wondered why he was trying to be like him; he’s his own man. Faison says he’s a boy; scared, weak, and worthless. Tell him about the flash drive. Peter says that’s so him – slapping him with one hand, and asking for something with the other. Faison wonders why he wasn’t killed, and Peter says he had a bulletproof vest. Faison calls him a coward, saying he’s always been one. Peter says Faison always taught him to plan ahead. Faison says he’s so pathetic, he couldn’t even kill Jason. Peter asks, why kill a perfect assassin, when he can turn him loose on Faison? All he had to do was keep him contained until he was ready to see Faison die, get out of the way, and let Jason take his revenge. Faison says his perfect assassin didn’t take him out. Peter says he’s grateful. Now he gets to watch as Faison basks in the harsh reality of what he’s done. Faison asks if Peter means him, but he doesn’t. Nathan’s dead. He killed the wrong son.

Maxie takes out Nathan’s watch, saying he was always on time. Felicia says, unlike her. Maxie says he always told her that she was worth waiting for.

Nina tells Valentin that Nathan didn’t like him. He kept reminding her that Valentin broke her heart. Valentin says it’s his deepest regret. Nina says she told Nathan it didn’t matter, and he gave his blessing. He’d rather see her happy than be right. Valentin says he respected Nathan. Nina says he was the only good thing in that horrible family. The penthouse in New York was hell; like a hall of statues. Nothing was real; everything was fake, except Nathan. He was real, warm, and love. Everything about her hurts right now. She cries, and Valentin holds her, saying he’s not going anywhere.

Faison asks Peter if Nathan is really gone. Peter says, thanks to him. Faison says he didn’t get to know him. Peter says that’s the best part. He’s so old and frail, he didn’t recognize his own son before he pulled the trigger. Faison tells him to get out. Peter says, no; he’s waited a long time. All those years, Faison felt so superior, and treated him like dirt, kicking him around, when all the time he was playing him. He asks how it feels to be out maneuvered by the son he despised? Peter feels amazing. He has the ultimate leverage; he has the memories on the flash drive. Even better, he’s working for Sam and Drew, and they don’t realize. He thanks Faison for a beautiful set-up. Faison tells him again to get out, and struggles to sit up. The machines he’s hooked up to start beeping. Peter says, living well is the best revenge, and he’s living great; high in the catbird seat, spending Faison’s money. It should be enough, but it can’t be. The real revenge is knowing Faison killed the son he loved and wanted, while the one he rejected is alive and well. He wins, and Faison loses at his own twisted game. Faison reaches out, and Peter slaps his hand away. The machinery goes nuts.

Valentin suggests he and Nina go home, and cherish what they have. Nina says she loves him, and he says he loves her too.

Obrecht goes to Nathan’s empty room, and smiles. She remembers him calling her mother on Christmas, and thanks him.

Peter asks if Faison’s not feeling so hot. Faison tries to ring for help, but Peter grabs the buzzer away from him, saying he taught him better than that. He leaves as Faison reaches out.

Maxie looks through Nathan’s wallet. She finds a picture of the two of them. She takes out his badge next, and there’s a song part. She puts his wedding ring on her index finger. She takes out his jacket, and remembers giving him the sonogram picture, and him putting it in his pocket. She pulls it out, and it’s covered in blood. She cries, and Felicia and Mac hold her.

Geez, this was rough on several fronts.

Tomorrow, Carly tells Michael she found out something about Nelle, Jason says Faison is dead, and Doc gets what he came for.

If Loving You is Wrong

Eddie tells Larry to drive. Larry says way to avoid a crime is not going to next location. (Or, never go to crime scene number two, as Bo Dietl says) Eddie asks if Larry wants him to shoot him right here. Larry says, yeah, and Eddie makes like he’s going to do it. Larry tells him to get out of the car, and Eddie tazes him. He does it twice more, but Larry still won’t drive. Eddie knocks him out and into the passenger seat, and drives away.

There’s a crowd at Larry’s office regarding Travis, and he’s obviously not there. Ian tells the assistant the he’ll try to call him.

Eddie chains Larry up in a storage container, the same way he was trussed up at Randal’s house. He asks if this is the game Larry likes, and tells him to wake up.

The assistant says Larry asked for a press conference. Ian can’t find him. Lushion calls. He says he’s not doing good, and Ian says join the party. Lushion says the attorney isn’t calling him back. Ian tells Lushion that he did the best he could. Lushion says one minute he’s ready to help her, and the next, he’s not. Ian says Travis’s family is there, and wants a press conference now. Lushion asks Ian to call the lawyer. Ian agrees, and goes out to the mob scene.

Alex is folding laundry when Brad comes in. He says he’s going to the office for a while. She asks if he’s coming back for lunch, but he’s not sure. She asks if he’s coming back at all, and he says he is. She tells him she loves him, and she’s sorry. He says, okay. She says she’s really, really sorry. She didn’t go over to Randal’s house, and knows he doesn’t believe her. He says he’s done with it. Alex wonders if he means her, but he says he said it. She asks what she can do; she’ll do anything. He tells her not to talk to Randal anymore, and walk away if he tries to talk to her. She promises not to say anything to him. She tells Brad again that she loves him, and he says he loves her too.

Eddie smacks Larry awake. Larry laughs, and says Eddie’s had his fun; let him go. Eddie says he’s just getting started, but Larry says he has to get to the office. He asks what Eddie hit him with. Eddie says his gun, but Larry’s kinky ass has probably been hit with worse. Larry says he didn’t do anything to him. Eddie says he was chained and humiliated, but Larry claims to have passed out. Eddie asks what he did, and Larry says dress him up; it was just for kicks. Eddie punches him. Larry tells Eddie to let him go, and they’ll call it even. Eddie says his girlfriend took pictures, and the whole department knows. He knocks Larry around. Larry yells for help, but they’re in the middle of the woods.

Esperanza visits Kelly in her cell. She’s sure it has to be tough, and Kelly says she has no idea. She’s trying to positive, and Esperanza tells her to fight for it and maintain her composure. Kelly says all she can think about is Justice, but Esperanza says they’re all taking care of him; he’s fine. Kelly thanks her. She still hasn’t heard from Lushion or the lawyer. Esperanza says she’ll check. Kelly says she needs to get out of there. She tells Esperanza that these people have done horrible things, and Esperanza promises they’ll figure it out. Kelly thinks Esperanza is looking at her weird. She knows what she did was wrong. Esperanza warns her not to talk in there, and says she’s on Kelly’s side. Kelly tells her to see how Justice is acting; he acts out when he’s stressed, and please go easy on him. Esperanza asks if she needs anything, and Kelly says, out of here. Esperanza says it’s coming.

Brad is leaving for work, and Randal asks if he’s been served; the lawsuit is coming. Brad says good, and to get the ladder, so he can kick him off of it again. Randal says he’s going to own Brad’s house and him. He already owned his wife. Brad says he’s owning Randal’s wife right now, and their baby is going to be a star. He’s a strong kicker, like how Brad kicked Randal off the ladder. Randal walks away. Brad says he can’t handle it when the tables are turned. Randal says he’s turned a few with Brad’s wife. He repeats the lawsuit is coming, and Brad says he’s looking forward to it. Randal goes back home, and Brad gets in the car.

Esperanza goes to see Lushion. She says she just saw Kelly. She’s concerned about the lawyer, and she asks what’s happening. Lushion is still trying to get him. Esperanza says it’s serious, and Lushion says he’s supposed to call. She says Travis’s family knows everybody. He asks what she’s suggesting, and she wonders if it’s a legit referral. They represent Travis’s family. Lushion doesn’t think Ian is like that; he’s known him for years. Esperanza says he seems confident, but she isn’t. They don’t have that much time. Lushion says the lawyer has been in court. Esperanza asks which one, and he asks if she’s playing investigator. She says he has his hands full, and she wants to help. He says not that full, but she’s worried about her… their friend. She could get life in prison. She says the mother is talking about how Kelly wouldn’t leave Travis alone. They’re all crying on TV, and very convincing. Lushion says she’s lying. Esperanza says perception is reality, and she doesn’t look like she’s lying. They know Kelly, but she’s being made to look like a different person. Lushion says he’ll make some more calls. He also thinks Esperanza should stop fraternizing at work. Things with Eddie went bad, and she still has to see him. She asks what he’s saying, that Stephen isn’t a good guy? Lushion says he’s a great guy. In the beginning it’s all great, but then things change. She should know the rules before she starts. Esperanza says Stephen told him, but Lushion says she did. She says nothing is going on. He tells her that her face is priceless, and she should tell it to someone else.

Alex walks the baby. Randal pops out. She says, touch the stroller, and he’ll regret it. She tells him to get away from her house. He wants to see the baby, and she says he’s not hearing her. He won’t move, and she says, fine, and reverses direction. He touches her arm, and she tells him not to touch her. He says she used to like it, and she slaps him. He laughs, and tells her do it again. He follows her, and she tells him to leave her alone. Natalie comes out, and Randal tells her to get her ghetto ass out of the conversation. She says she cut him once, and asks if he’d like a piece of hot lead to go with it. He touches her arm, and she falls on the ground, and starts flailing around and yelling. He says he didn’t touch her, but then runs away. Natalie asks where he’s going. I love Natalie.

She tells Alex that she has to do something about him. Alex doesn’t know what. Natalie says to get rid of someone crazy, act crazier, and suggests Alex set him up. Alex says she and Brad are trying to do something, but Natalie says she started it, so it’s up to her. Alex says Brad is back, but Randal isn’t making it easy. Alex apologizes, saying she shouldn’t have let Randal think the baby was Lushion’s. Natalie says she’s not mad. If she was, she wouldn’t be standing there now. Alex thanks her. Natalie says if she hears nothing else, hear this – she needs to do something about Randal. Alex doesn’t know what to do, and Natalie tells her to think about it. Alex asks about Kelly, and Natalie says she’s not good. Alex tells her if she can do anything, let her know. She’s glad Natalie is in the neighborhood. Natalie walks her back home, and invites herself in for a drink.

Marcie is on the phone with Esperanza as she meets Ian for dinner. She tells him she was talking about Kelly, and asks why he’s not representing her? He says Larry is representing Travis’s family. Marcie says, it’s so wrong, and he says, we’re lawyers what do you expect? He knows Kelly is a decent person, and she’s innocent; he spoke to her. Marcie says she’s good at reading people, and there’s something he’s not saying. She thinks he has a heart, and that makes it hard for some lawyers. He asks what she reads. She says he’s complicated and tries to act tough, but he’s a softie. She wonders how he knows Kelly is innocent, but he says she was his client and he can’t talk about her. Marcie says it doesn’t feel right sitting there, while Kelly is in a cell. She sees Stephen, and realizes Esperanza is with him. She tells Ian she’ll be right back.

Marcie says Esperanza told her that she was at work. Esperanza says her mind is all over the place, and introduces Stephen. Marcie explains she’s having dinner with a client who just bought a house. Stephen says they’ve met, and she says he looks different out of his work clothes. Esperanza says they’re just having an after-work drink. Marcie points out that she’s not dressed for work, and Esperanza says she had a change of clothes in her car. Marcie goes back to Ian.

Esperanza tells Stephen the town is so small. Now, all the girls will know. He asks if he embarrasses her, and she says no; she just doesn’t want them in her business. He says they’re adults, and allowed to have business, so let it go. She says they talk to Eddie, but he says no one talks to Eddie. He tells her to let him worry about it, but he gets it; she likes being in control. They talk about ordering, and Esperanza says she doesn’t drink much. Stephen says the last time they were together, she took the bottle like a champ. She says sometimes she needs liquid courage, and he wonders why with him? She says it came out of nowhere and happened fast. He asks if she’s enjoying it, and she says, let’s jut order. He tells her to relax. She orders tequila shots, and he says, so much for not drinking.

Alex rocks the nameless baby, and puts him in the crib. She hears Randal cackling and playing music outside. She jets out, and tells him to turn it down. He laughs, and she says she’s tired of him, spraying his car with the hose. He tells her to get her ass back in the house, but instead, she gets in the car. He pulls her out, and she tells him that he’s awful. Why did he tell Brad that she came over? He says because she did, but she says, no, she didn’t. Why is he doing this? Doesn’t he have any conscience? He’s surprised she didn’t know that already. He tells her that Brad and Marcie are having a baby, but Alex says they aren’t. Randal asks if she didn’t know Marcie was pregnant. She did, but says it’s not his. Randal asks who’s is it? She tells him to stop this. He asks again, and she says it’s his. I shake my head. She tells him to check the calendar, harass Marcie, and leave them alone. He asks if it’s his kid, and she asks if he didn’t hear her. Randal thinks she’s messing with him, but Alex says she doesn’t want to mess with him again.

Brad comes by, sees them, and speeds off. Randal laughs, and says, he gone.

Next time, Lushion asks Ian what happened, Larry says Eddie could kill him, and Justice asks Valerie if his mother killed Travis.

🍷 I also watched The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Reunion Secrets Revealed, and it was a lot of fun. These Secrets Revealed shows often have the best clips, or at least the ones where the women are having the most fun with each other. God forbid we should see that on the actual show. Two of the best scenes were a Latin dancing lesson, and Marty asking Danielle to marry him. I guess this makes number twenty? As Teresa said, sometimes you have to kiss a lot of frogs. We also saw Siggy getting along with the Marge. Too bad she couldn’t sustain that, and ended up being batsh*t crazy.

General Hospital

Drew tells Sam that Nathan is still in surgery. She’s glad the kids are at the Quartermaine’s, and glad they came back early. Now Drew can get Faison to tell him how and why he switched their lives.

We revisit Peter setting the trashcan holding the bulletproof vest on fire.

Faison tells Jason that he’s disappointed. He can’t manage a single gunshot? Jason says he can, and Faison asks why Jason kept him alive. Jason tells him that he wants to know why Faison replaced him with his brother?

Griff says the surgery on Nathan was a success. Obrecht asks if he’ll walk again. Surviving a procedure is one thing, but will he have quality of life? She asks what Griff isn’t saying. It’s probably nothing; he always looks worried like that. He says Nathan has bone fragments in his chest cavity from the bullet ricochet, but they removed the bullet without compromising his spine, and he’ll have full mobility. The fragments are another story. Obrecht says that kind of injury is a high risk for infection. Maxie wants to be with him.

Faison wants to know what’s in it for him? Jason sits down. He says Faison gets to stay alive. Faison asks for how long? Jason will cut him loose, hunt him down, and kill him without a trace; the perfect death threat. That’s why he took him. Jason asks why he took Drew, and Faison says because Jason has brain damage.

Finn tells Anna take a breath; Faison isn’t going anywhere, and she can let down her guard. She doesn’t know how to do that under any circumstances. Finn says if it’s any consolation, he doesn’t either. He wants to tell her that he’s an idiot. She asks why, specifically? He says he walked away from her, but he never should have, and has regretted it every day since. She has regrets too.

Maxie takes Nathan’s hand, and tells him that she loves him. She asks if he can hear her.

Nina tells Valentin about watching her brother sleep when she was young. Even then he was making the world safer.

Maxie talks to Nathan about baby clothes. She’s been thinking about sage green as a wardrobe base. He’s definitely going to wake up. Or die from boredom. She can’t wait to see what their baby turns out like.

Lulu and Dante arrive at the hospital. Lulu wants to go in, but the nurse says immediate family only. She says Maxie is her best friend, but Dante says they have to respect the hospital policies. Obrecht says she’s not immediate family, and technically, the nurse was speaking to both of them. Nina says let’s not do this here. Lulu tells Dante she’s going for coffee, and to tell Nathan that she loves him.

Griff tells Maxie that Nathan’s vitals are stable. Maxie says her husband is a fighter. She tells Nathan to take his time. She and the baby will be waiting.

Peter visits Sam and Drew. He says Nathan came through surgery, and Faison is still alive. Sam says they’re heading to the hospital soon; Drew has questions for Faison. Peter says when they first began, they wanted to keep their personal lives separate from Aurora, but the shooting just ended that. It’s a major story. Reporters will descend, searching for. Drew says, no comment. Peter tells them that the public will assume there’s a cover-up if they say that.

Faison tells Jason that mind control would be useless with him. Jason says Faison couldn’t force him to do what he wanted, so he found an alternative. Faison says that Andre had developed a procedure to map memories. He could copy Jason’s skills to someone Faison could control. Jason asks how Faison found Andrew. Faison says by happy coincidence. He saw that the Navy SEAL was the spitting image of Jason, and he was easy enough to abduct. Jason was more difficult. Once he got them both, he ran a DNA test. Faison struggles to speak. He tells Jason that he sent them to Andre while he was in Port Charles impersonating Duke. He trusted someone else with the job, and it was a near fatal decision.

Anna says Finn was almost killed twice; she can’t risk a third time. Someone she cares about being in her life makes them a target. Finn asks to whom, and she says anyone she tries to bring down. Her caring for him could get him killed. He says it hasn’t yet, but she tells him maybe the third time could be the charm. It would be smart to walk away, so if he won’t… He says he won’t. She gets up, and leaves.

Obrecht tells Nathan that he was her deepest, darkest secret for a long time, but fate had other ideas. She was glad, being able to call herself his mutter. In the last few years, he’s been her greatest joy, but if could go back in time, she would give it up. She should have kept the truth hidden, and not wavered. His evil father wouldn’t have found him. She kisses his hand, and says, don’t leave them. Maxie says he won’t; he’s going to make a full recovery. She gently leads Obrecht out, saying give him time to rest. Obrecht tells Maxie that she used to think she was just a bit of fluff, but she was wrong. She leaves, and Maxie tells Nathan that she used to hate it when people said “love and light,” but gets it now. He’s been that for her since he showed up at her apartment. She remembers it like yesterday. She thought he was hot and nice. He was her Prince Charming, but she didn’t know it yet. It took a pair of handcuffs and an abduction to make her wise up. Then he kissed her, and she realized her heart had chosen him, so she finally chose him. He’s her happiness.

Peter tells Drew and Sam that the only way to control the story is to own it. Make a statement, and lead with the truth. Sam says they’ll consider it. Peter hopes that’s not a polite way of saying no. Sam says it isn’t, and she’s glad Faison was stopped, and he wasn’t hurt. He says he’ll keep them posted, and leaves. Sam asks what Drew thinks. Drew thinks he’s right; lead with the truth. He owes it to his family, and himself, to find out who he really is. It’s time to confront Faison.

Obrecht marches toward Faison’s room, and Anna stops her, saying she can’t kill him. Obrecht asks if this is some cosmic attempt at humor. Why is she protecting him? She says she’s protecting Nathan. Faison will get the punishment he deserves. She needs to be with her son. Obrecht calls Faison a cancer, and says if Anna won’t let her kill him, she urges Anna to do it herself.

Faison tells Jason once the procedure was complete, Drew was sent to Helena’s programmer, and Jason was supposed to die. Henrik betrayed him. Jason wonders why, but Faison doesn’t know. He says Henrik is treacherous, deceitful, and consumed with jealousy. Jason owes his life to Henrik’s rebellion.

Nina visits Nathan. She’s proud of him. He’s amazing and incredible. He had all a child could want, except love. Valentin watches from the doorway. Nina says Nathan went to school with upper crust, socially acceptable kids, but despite that, turned out great. He rebelled by being an upstanding citizen. He was little when all that happened to her. She woke up, and saw an incredible man, a good man. Her baby brother became her big brother. He’s a reminder of everything good in the world; he’s good. He made Nina good. She loves him, and he makes her better. She tells Maxie that he has that effect on people. She kisses him, and says he deserves all the happiness in the world. She tells him to pull through this.

After she’s gone, Maxie moves on to talking about mobile themes and childproofing. She wonders if there are baby balls; like hamster balls, but for babies. She comes out, and asks Dante to sit with Nathan. She tells him not to leave his side, and tells Nathan she’ll be right back. She’s leaving him in the safest hands.

Finn sees Anna, and she says sorry she upset him. He says, she didn’t. He gets it. She’s complicated, leads a dangerous life, and it’s not fair to the people she cares about. They care about each other, and she doesn’t get to throw it away. She doesn’t get a choice; none of them do. He doesn’t want to feel this way, but can’t turn it off and can’t talk himself out of it. He wants to be with her. Anna says she doesn’t want to be with him. Finn says she’s lying. He knows it’s messy and dangerous, but who cares? Whatever it is, it could be a colossal mistake. She says it could get him killed. He tells her he spent years looking death in the face, and death is tired of him. Why don’t they see where it goes?

Jason asks Faison where Henrik is, but he doesn’t know. He suggests Henrik is hiding in plain sight, using an alias. He can tells Jason how to find him – for a price.

Peter sees Lulu at Kelly’s, and asks if she’s all right. She doesn’t know, and he sits down with her. She says she never wanted to marry a cop, but Dante… Even though she’s terrified when he steps out the door, it’s impossible not to love him, even though she could lose him. Peter tells her that he’s sorry. He can’t imagine what she’s going through. Lulu tells him that no one ever says it out loud, but there’s a dirty little secret to being married to cop. You’re proud of them, but more than anything, you want them to be safe. When a cop goes down, even when the cop is your best friend’s husband, the shameful part is that you’re grateful the fallen cop isn’t the one you married.

Dante tells Nathan how he appreciates what he did for him and Lulu. He was pissed at the time, but if Nathan hadn’t done what did, they might not be together. In a way, Nathan saved his life. He’s seen Nathan do brave stuff, but nothing so brave as locking him and Lulu in together.

Alone in the bathroom, Maxie cries.

Dante asks Nathan if the kid should have a say in who their godfather is. What if the kid takes one look at him and starts screaming? He suggests they make a deal. They’ll wait until they meet the kid, and see what happens. Maxie comes back, and asks how her guy is.

Anna tells Finn if she was different, maybe they would be able to pursue it, but she doesn’t have that luxury. They can’t just turn off feelings, but she thinks they should try. Finn isn’t buying it. She says it’s for the best. He says they might live longer, but who wants to live denying their feelings?

Obrecht tries to call Britt.

Faison tells Jason that if he tells him how to find Henrik, Jason has to meet terms. Mean Jason presses on Faison’s wound, and says no. Faison says he’s gotten all the information he can from him, and if he wants to know about Henrik, talk to his brother.

Finn tells Anna she owes him one good reason. She says she’s told him a billion times. He wants brutal, honest, masochistic clarity. She says they don’t fit. She doesn’t want him in her life.

Lulu tells Peter that everyone warned her, but she was arrogant enough to think she could face Faison. Peter says Nathan chose to reveal himself, and Lulu says, she helped him. He says she’s a good reporter, and not to second guess herself because it’s not the result she wanted. He tells her to follow up. Write a happy ending.

Faison tells Jason that his brother knows more than he realizes. Finn walks in, and says Jason can’t be in there. He doesn’t care if Faison lives or dies, but he won’t be complicit. Jason says when he dies, it won’t be because of anything that happened here.

Jason tells Anna that Faison explained why he replaced him. It’s because has brain damage. Whatever he does to control people, it won’t work on him. It was Henrik’s job to get them to Andre. He thinks Henrik is hiding in plain sight, and Anna wonders if he’s in Port Charles. Sam and Drew join them. Anna tells them that Nathan is in critical, but stable condition. Drew asks what about Faison? Jason says he talked to him, and he was in Port Charles when they were taken to Andre. Henrik was left in charge, but he doesn’t know why Henrik let him live. They have to find him. Drew wonders where to start, and Jason says Faison implied that Drew knows.

Maxie talks about a new house, and a swing set. Nathan finally opens his eyes in self-defense. She says she’s been waiting for him, and he smiles. She takes his hand. He asks if she’s okay, and she says he saved them. He says, Faison? She tells him, shot like he deserves. She tells Nathan to rest and get better. She thinks listening to her reading baby books out loud will help his recovery, and he wonders how many baby books there are. She kisses him, and says he scared her. He says, sorry, and she tells him that he’s forced to spend the rest of his life making it up to her. She feels baby move, and so does he.

Finn tells Anna that Faison is being moved. Anna says she’ll let Jordan know. He tells her to do that, and walks away.

Drew tells Jason that he has no idea what Faison is talking about. Jason says Faison told him that Drew knows more than he realizes.

Lulu writes on her laptop about Nathan fighting for his life with Maxie at his side.

Maxie tells Nathan that his eyes are like a hug. He says if the baby gets his eyes, he hopes it gets her smile. She admits she does have great smile. He says he loves her, and drifts off. Then he flatlines. I say, oh sh*t!

Tomorrow, Curtis hopes for a happy ending, Stella wants Jordan to do something about it, and Nina runs from Valentin.

The Haves and the Have Nots

Hanna tells Candace that her latest john is her father. Everyone is like, what? and dude can’t get out fast enough. Benny asks if Hanna is telling the truth. Hanna says you never know, and asks what stopped Candace from sleeping with him? Candace asks how she knows, and Hanna says she doesn’t, but he could be. He could be any one of these men, and she needs to think about that. She thinks it’s sad that Candace is letting men come in she doesn’t even know. Candace says Hanna told her that she didn’t know; she was probably whoring too. Hanna says that’s one thing she never did. Candace says just because they didn’t pay her when they were done, doesn’t mean they didn’t pay; she knows a whore when she sees one. Hanna says she came here to bring the letter; is this what Candace wants to do? Benny says either Candace leaves with them, or he’ll drag her out. She laughs, and Benny grabs her.

Hanna tells him stop. Benny says he’s not letting her stay, but Candace says he doesn’t have a choice. Hanna wonders what’s wrong with Candace. How can she let these men do this to her? Candace says Hanna doesn’t even know who her daddy is. Hanna asks if it really hurts her that bad, not knowing, and does she really want to know? Candace says, speak, Hanna. Hanna says he was a rapist. She was a kid, drinking and feeling free, hanging out with her friends at the club. She was walking home at 3 am, but she was with her friends. She lived two blocks away from them, and couldn’t find her key, but kept walking. She passed a man who asked if she was all right. She said she was good, but there was something about him that made the hair on the back of her neck stand up. She started walking faster. She wanted to run, but her feet wouldn’t move. She could see the house, and looked back, but he wasn’t moving. When she ran up on the porch, she still couldn’t find the key. Her aunt wasn’t home, and she crouched down, but she could hear him coming. He passed, and she didn’t move. She stayed there for two hours, and her aunt came home high like always. Her aunt passed out on the couch, and Hanna thought she was okay. She locked the doors, and went in her room.

When she woke up, he had his hand on her throat, and she could feel him inside of her. He told her if she screamed he’d kill her, so she just laid there, screaming on the inside. Tears are rolling down everyone’s face at this point, including mine. All she could see was his eyes and his nose. Candace’s eyes and nose. She could also see his tattoo, and won’t forget it. She wasn’t going to tell anybody. Her aunt ended up in a 12-step program, and they both started going to church. She felt better until she realized she was pregnant. She didn’t want Candace. She didn’t want a rape baby. She wanted an abortion. Her aunt said no. If she wanted to stay, she couldn’t abort a baby. She felt lost, scared, and alone. She looked for something in men, and kept making mistakes. Then one day, Candace kicked. She felt her, and knew it was something that belonged to her. She loved Candace, and when she came out, she was beautiful. Even though she had his eyes and nose, on her, they were beautiful. She was innocent and pure, and Hanna felt so much light. She loved her. She was still lost, and looking for herself in men. Candace saw it, and Hanna saw her light getting dimmer as time went on. She’s sorry she wasn’t always nice to her. She wishes she could have been nicer, but loves her still. She wishes she could see the light in Candace’s eyes again. When Candace told her she’d been raped, it devastated her. She went back to God, and her joy and strength came back. She knew who she was. She loves Candace. She always has and always will, but hopes one day she sees the light come back. If I was alone, I’d be freaking bawling. That was absolutely heartbreaking.

Candace says good job, good story. She doesn’t believe most of it, except how Hanna treated her like hell. Hanna thinks maybe she shouldn’t have said anything. Candace says she can leave now. Hanna says she can, but sits and takes off her shoes. She claps the soles of her shoes together, and Candace asks if it’s voodoo. Hanna says, Matthew 10:14. She and Benny leave. Candace cries like I want to. BTW, the verse from Matthew is about shaking the dust of your shoes off when someone won’t receive what you have to say. I’m paraphrasing, but I knew that’s what she was doing.

David goes to the station. He asks to see Jeffrey, saying he’s Jeffrey’s attorney. The officer has to call the DA first. There’s no answer, and David responds the same way I would, asking what does he mean, it’s the DA’s office? The officer asks David to have a seat. A woman asks if he’s a lawyer, and starts telling him her problems. He says actually, he’s a judge now, and she calls bullsh*t.

Sarah calls Jim. She says she can’t meet him. He says she can. She says she’s in a different position now. He asks if she’s appealing to his moral sense, because he doesn’t have one. She tells him that she can’t talk about cases. He tells her be prepared to talk – into a pillow. She hangs up, and looks like she has a headache.

At home, Benny asks if Hanna is all right. She just wants to lie down. He asks who’s Derek, and reads a note on the counter: Hope your day gets better. Hanna says he fixed the sink and washed the dishes; she needs to thank him. Benny says he knows it’s true, and he’s sorry. She says it was a long time ago, and it’s over. We look to the Lord and move on. He asks if she had counseling. She says from where and with what money? He thinks she should talk to someone, but she says she talks to the Lord. He thinks she’s in a lot of pain, and asks if she’d talk to a therapist. He’s going back to work with Mitch, and he’ll get some money together. She agrees. He tells her he loves her, and she says she loves him too.

Benny goes upstairs, and Hanna calls Derek. She thanks him for doing the dishes, and says he didn’t have to. He says the sink should have been fixed, and it’s the least he could do. She asks what she owes him, but he says it was under warranty. She could go for coffee with him though. She wonders if he’s asking for a date, but he says it’s just coffee. She asks why, and he tells her that he thought maybe he could make her smile. She thanks him, but doesn’t think so. He says she has his number if she changes her mind. She tells him that she’s dealing with a lot. He says she could use some good company, but she says she doesn’t know him.

Kathryn asks Derek what she said, and he realizes she was eavesdropping. Derek says she turned him down. Kathryn wants to call her, but he says no. He understands begging won’t stop her, and says, please. Kathryn says fine – for now. He tells her that Hanna didn’t sound happy, and Kathryn says maybe she should call and see if she’s okay. Derek thinks Hanna will know they talked, and Kathryn accuses him of making things difficult.

Benny calls Mitch, but gets a call on another line. It’s Veronica, who’s still in the hospital for observation. She says she owes him; he saved her life. He says anyone would have done it. She says the girl she was with didn’t do anything, and asks if he can come by; she wants to thank him in person. She’s in debt to him. He agrees to come.

There’s a knock at Candace’s door. It’s new girl. Candace says, never keep her waiting. She introduces her self as Gia, but Candace says her new name is bottom bitch, and Candace is her new pimp. Gia is working in several pimps’ territory, and she’s offering protection. Gia says she’s going, but Candace says she’ll beat her ass herself. She rips Gia’s dress and looks her over. She says she’ll make her a lot of money, but needs a dress that isn’t from the dollar store. She’s giving her Erica’s number, and telling her to get Gia clothes; Maria can do something with her hair. She’s pretty, but needs to know how to work it. Gia insists she’s not a prostitute. Candace grabs her bag, and looks at her ID. She sees Gia is her real name, and says she was born to be prostitute, but needs a fake ID. Gia tries to get her purse back, but Candace tells her, grab it again and she’ll beat her. Gia says it’s her first time, and Candace says she’ll show her the ropes and protect her. She can make Candace up to $10K a night. She has older clientele. They’ll blackmail some of them, but when they’re done, she’ll be happy. Gia wonders why Candace isn’t doing it herself, but Candace says she’s on to bigger and better things; Gia will pick up the slack. Candace tells her to unlock her phone. Gia says no, and Candace slaps her, telling her to never make her ask twice. She puts her number in the phone, and tells Gia to check in with the bartender; she’ll be working on Tuesdays and Fridays. She tells Gia rule number one is that desperation leads to arrest. Candace texts Gia’s number to herself, gives her stuff back, and tells her goodbye.

David waits at the station. The officer says he called the DA. David tells him to call again, but the officer says, sorry. David calls Jim, and asks if he knows someone with pull at the DA’s office. Veronica had Jeffrey arrested for Quincy’s murder. Jim asks why she’d do that, and it dawns on him that Veronica still refuses to accept Jeffrey is gay. David says they won’t let him see Jeffrey. Jim says Kathryn’s father’s name still moves mountains. If he calls her, she’ll hold a grudge because David came to him first. David needs to make the call. Jim tells David to let him know what happens.

David calls Kathryn. He needs her help. She says she’s not doing anything for Jim, but he says it’s for Jeffrey, and explains about Veronica having him arrested. Kathryn says that bitch is treacherous. David says they’re not letting him see Jeffrey, and asks if she knows someone at the DA’s office. She says she does, and he asks if she would please do something. She can’t believe it, and says if the accident had been any worse, it would have done them all a favor. David has no idea what she’s talking about, and Kathryn tells him what happened. He asks how Veronica is, and Kathryn says, who cares? She’ll call him back.

Justin gets Jeffrey out of lockup. He cuffs Jeffrey, and shoves him to the interrogation room. This is getting old. Jeffrey asks if Justin found his dad, and Justin says he should bash Jeffrey’s face in. He throws Jeffrey’s phone on the table, and it starts to ring. He tells Jeffrey to answer it, which is kind of difficult while wearing handcuffs. Jeffrey picks up the call, and Wyatt asks why Jeffrey isn’t answering his phone. Jeffrey says he can’t talk, and Wyatt asks why he answered? Wyatt tells him to keep that a-hole from calling him. Justin asks if he’s the a-hole, and Jeffrey tells Wyatt to hang up. Wyatt asks what’s with this guy, and Justin asks what’s with him; are they lovers? Wyatt says they are, and Jeffrey tells him not to do that; just hang up. Justin asks if he’s at home, and tells Wyatt to stay there. Wyatt says he’ll be waiting, and calls Justin toots, making me laugh, and Justin hangs up.

Justin says Jeffrey lied, but Jeffrey says Wyatt is lying just to get under Justin’s skin. He tells Justin to stop it; it’s crazy. Justin says there’s something up; look at how many missed calls. They must be lovers. Jeffrey says they’re friends. Justin says he heard Jeffrey say he loved Wyatt, but Jeffrey insists it’s as a friend. Justin asks what’s up with the emails, and reads one where Jeffrey says how much he loves him and wants the best for him. Jeffrey repeats it’s as a friend, and Justin asks what about him saying he still wants him. Jeffrey says those emails are private; they’re to himself. Justin says don’t make him send Jeffrey back bloody, and Jeffrey wishes he’d try it. He tells Justin again that those were private emails. It’s how he journals, and they’re to himself. Justin doesn’t believe him, saying he sacrificed everything for him. He’s been looking for an apartment for them. Jeffrey says he’s in jail, but Justin says he’s getting out.

Jeffrey says this is crazy; he doesn’t want to do this. Either take him back to his cell or he’s banging on the door. Justin tells him to go ahead. Jeffrey starts kicking the door and making noise, but Justin puts him in headlock.

Next time, Justin confronts Wyatt, Mitch says Veronica is in love with Benny, and Melissa comes on to Benny.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Kyle and Erika go shopping. Kyle is into velvet. I am not. She says the store reminds her of Pretty Woman. Erika says Tom is almost ready to go back to work. She’s enjoyed taking care of him. He could be bratty, but there was something sweet about it. She explains to us how her life dramatically changed after meeting him, and she is Pretty Woman. She tells Kyle that PK’s birthday is a 007 theme, and talks about driving the Pagani. She enjoyed being with Dorit, and says they had a chance to communicate. She buys a baseball jacket that’s $300, and I think of my beloved baseball/letter jacket that cost me $35 at the vintage clothing store in Red Bank. I like mine more.

LisaR goes over her schedule with her assistant. She says the town is built on 20-year-old girls, and one of the smartest thing she did was branch out early. We see a clip of her on QVC. She gets an email from Emelia, and Harry has agreed to get a puppy. She has more than she can handle, and now he wants to add a puppy into the mix. She says she’ll just be its fairy godmother. #ThatsWhatHarryDid

LVP and Teddi go riding. There’s a stable near the Fairmont Hotel, and LVP likes to spend the night there to be near her horses. It’s absolutely beautiful on the trail, and Teddi calls it a mini-paradise. LVP’s horse only speaks French. Why am I not surprised? They have tea afterwards. Ken brings out a tray for them. Giggy! Harrison! Schnookie! Teddi passes on the muffins, and LVP tells Ken about Teddi having once been two hundred pounds. She thanks Teddi for the spa day. We see clips of Teddi’s beach house, and she says she’d love to invite everyone, but doesn’t want to worry what wine glass goes where. LVP says, who cares? It’s like not offering a ride in the Rolls Royce because it’s dirty. She wants to know who said it. Teddi won’t say, but tells her someone complained about the wine being poured into the wrong glass, and LVP thinks she knows who it is.

Dorit brings LVP out to the yacht she’s having PK’s birthday party on. She wants the party to be extravagant. She wants an exclusive, glamorous event, and says, who better to bring along? They’re going to fly in on a helicopter, and LVP jokes that PK will laugh when he gets the bill. Dorit thinks a responsible amount to spend is between a Range Rover and a Rolls Royce. LVP thinks she needs to focus; sometimes she can get scattered. Really? I hadn’t noticed. Dorit says Boy George wants to do a duet of Fever with her, and she’s conferred with Erika. LVP asks if she’s seen the kind of moves Erika does, and says she feels nervous for her. LVP tells her about riding with Teddi. Dorit admits she’s the one who got upset about the wine glass. LVP explains not everyone is comfortable with the lavish lifestyle, and thinks Teddi is sweet. She stressed that it wasn’t a problem, but she didn’t feel comfortable. Dorit says she does pay attention to those things. In her interview, LVP doesn’t think she should put Teddi down, but asking for the right wine glass isn’t judgmental. Dorit is finding Teddi a bit tightly wound. I don’t think it was that she wanted a different glass. She didn’t ask outright, and wouldn’t shut up about something she saw as a major faux pas.

Mauricio and Kyle meet Teddi and Edwin for lunch. Edwin talks about the beach house. In her interview, Teddi says she’s a casual person. She doesn’t have to be the perfect host, and her friends are fine with that. Edwin tells them about meeting John Mellencamp for the first time, and realizing Teddi was telling him the truth. Teddi says for as long as she can remember, with anyone who came into her life, her dad made it clear not to mess with his daughter.

Dorit tells assistant Mollie she can’t take the stress. She’s rehearsing with George, and PK keeps asking what’s up. She thinks he’s going to be surprised to see his parents, since neither one of them like to fly. PK shows them his new glasses, and George thinks maybe he shouldn’t go shopping on his own.

LisaR visits Kyle. Kyle is freaking out. Her house is a disaster zone, and at this rate, she could be living like this for years. Kyle talks about the party being on a boat, and LisaR hates boats. Every time they take a trip on one, it’s gone bad. She lists all the trips the Wives have gone on, where boats were involved, and it was a disaster. We flash back to all that, including the slap by Brandi heard round the world. Kyle says she thinks Teddi is intimidated about inviting people to her beach house. The invite says they can stay at a hotel, and that she’s not a master chef; she’s more into potluck. LisaR wonders what you’d bring to a potluck. We flash back to LVP teaching Adrienne Maloof how to prepare a chicken.

Erika and Mikey join Dorit and George at the rehearsal studio. Erika says the more you sell it the better it comes off. Oddly enough, Fever is one of my best karaoke songs, torch singing being my specialty. George says it’s like the perfect song, and Erika tells her to channel Billie Holiday. Mikey gives some stage direction, and Erika tells her to draw the audience in. Stare someone down, and dare them not to like your performance. I like that. Dorit says it’s like tango, and Erika says it’s like hooking on Sunset. We see a clip of Mikey directing Gretchen Rossi for her performance with the Pussycat Dolls.

Dorit is wearing a fabulous grey strapless gown. She tells PK what to wear. He thinks they’re having a birthday dinner, and has no idea what’s really going to happen. She needs to get him to a helicopter, a yacht, a speedboat, and another yacht. James Bond music plays.

All the women have a hard time walking down the gangway to the yacht in their heels. LVP wonders how it will be going back after some champagne. Everyone looks gorgeous. Erika thinks the plans are impressive, and PK’s mother says she thinks Dorit is trying to beat what PK did for her birthday. Kyle and Boy George talk about being on Celebrity Apprentice together.

PK doesn’t know the area, and wonders where they’re going. The arrive at an airport, and he thinks they’re going to Vegas.

The MC says PK and Dorit will be flying over them shortly. The helicopter lands, and they get into the speedboat. Another accomplishment for a woman in heels. PK tells Dorit that she’s clever. The guests gather to yell surprise. In her interview, Dorit says when PK sees his parents, he’s going to lose his mind.

The guest of honor arrives, and everyone yells, surprise! PK tells Dorit it’s too much to take in, and LisaR tells her good job. LVP says PK is normally the caretaker of everyone, and it’s wonderful to see him so overcome. Dorit says she poured her heart and soul into the party, and it means everything to her to see him so emotional. LVP says she wants to stick her face in the caviar. In her interview, Teddi says these women go for weeks without eating, but put some caviar in front of them and they’re like pigs at a trough. Kyle wonders if Mauricio is taking and Uber copter. LVP is surprised that Dorit got everything together so quickly.

After dinner, the MC tells everyone to head upstairs where there’s a casino and a special performance. Dorit says she’s dying. She tells PK she’s going to the bathroom, and Erika gives her some last-minute coaching. She tells Dorit it will be adorable, and just do what they did in rehearsal. Dorit is appreciative of her support, and says it’s the only thing getting her through. Dorit, wearing a slinky, sparkly black gown, takes the mic, and tells PK how much she loves him. She can’t let his 50th go by without it being epic. She calls out George, and they sing. Erika says it takes a lot of balls. LVP says it’s actually not bad, which is my assessment too. Dorit thinks she nailed it, and tells PK she loves him again.

Dorit asks Teddi for a quick chat. Dorit says she really likes Teddi, and thinks they get on well. She brings up that LVP mentioned the wrong glass issue without naming names. Teddi says they’re going to be different, but should like each other for it. LVP and Kyle join them. LVP says it shouldn’t have been such a big deal. Dorit says it’s etiquette. Teddi says Dorit is better at that, but she doesn’t really care about it. Dorit says when things aren’t a big deal, she doesn’t say anything. Kyle interjects, and Dorit asks if she’s speaking for Teddi. In her interview, Dorit wonders how she got to be the bad guy in all this. Teddi says it made her feel weird with Dorit focusing on a glass. Dorit says Teddi isn’t just exaggerating, she’s lying and making sh*t up.

Camille, LisaR, and Erika talk about how great Dorit’s performance was.

Dorit calls Teddi a psycho. I’m not sure what’s wrong with Dorit that she has these overreactions to certain things, and ends up blowing them up even more. Kyle says they keep repeating themselves. Teddi keeps saying it’s fine when it’s not, and Dorit isn’t going to shut up. Kyle says they’re all psycho, and leaves; LVP a beat behind her. Teddi asks Dorit if they’re okay, but Dorit says Teddi plays like she’s casual, but she’s really high strung. She hugs Teddi, and says thanks for coming. Teddi escapes.

Next time, Teddi says Dorit is like water torture, Kyle feels like LVP and Dorit are ganging up on her, and LVP walks out of a conversation.

😯 I watched Stripped again, and it gave me a better perspective of the show. Social media influencer Richie found out what it was like to be away from the likes, and have to ask for help. Apparently, they are allowed to be gifted with goods and services, but not items. In being away from everything, it showed him that he had people in his life who really cared about him; not just followers. It also gave me two great quotes:

Richie smelled like onions today. I was so confused at that odor. – one of Richie’s friends, who he went to dinner with, wearing literally nothing but overalls. And –

Depression is the luxury of people who don’t have to fight for survival. – a counselor, mastermind, or whoever they are, from the show, who Richie met with.

General Hospital

Dante and Sonny go to Spoon Island. Sonny smells gas. Dante breaks down the door at the stables, but no Lulu or Obrecht. They see the gas can, and Sonny says it has to be Faison. Dante thinks a gas can in an empty room is odd, and wonders where he took Lulu.

Carly asks Jason, what if Faison dies? Jason says, at least he’ll be dead. He won’t get answers, but he saw how terrified Anna was, and says Faison has wreaked havoc in so many lives, it has to stop. Carly says she would want answers, but Jason says it wouldn’t change anything. It won’t return the time he lost. She asks if he doesn’t care, but he says if Faison dies before telling him, there’s someone else who knows.

Anna waits in the park for Henrik, saying she can help him. Peter arrives. She draws her gun. She asks who’s there, and if it’s Henrik.

Finn works on Faison. Griff tells Maxie the bullet is lodged against Nathan’s spinal column. She asks when they’re operating, and Griff says when he’s stabilized. Maxie freaks, and Bobbie tells her to let them do their work, and pray – it really does make a difference.

Amy says the blood bank is running low, and tells Nathan to stay with her. Both Nathan and Faison flatline. Griff does CPR on Nathan.

Valentin and Nina are back at Windemere. Valentin makes a fire. Just as they start to get cozy (or hygge, as we say now), there’s a knock at the door. Dante says, it’s the police. Nina says they’ve only been back ten minutes, and already they’re being harassed. Dante asks if Lulu is there. Nina says they just got back, and Valentin asks what’s going on? Dante says Lulu disappeared, and they think she was there looking for Faison.

Griff uses the defibrillator on Nathan. Both patients are revived. Griff tells Maxie they got him back, and they’ll operate as soon as he’s stable. Finn goes by, wheeling Faison on a gurney. Maxie wonders what’s up with that, and Finn says he needs surgery. Maxie wants to know why he’s going in first. Bobbie says there’s an OR room prepped and waiting for Nathan as soon as he’s stable. Griff tells her that if they want the best chance of Nathan’s survival and full mobility, they have to wait. Maxie insists he’ll be fine.

Anna says she doesn’t mean Henrik any harm. They share a common enemy – Faison. He’s hurt both of them, and she thinks she can help him. Jason shows up, and Peter jets without revealing himself. Anna tells Jason that someone was there, but they’re gone. She asks what happened at the MetroCourt, and Jason brings her up to speed. She asks if he killed Faison, but Jason says he’s still alive. He was taken to GH. She asks if he’s going to live, and Jason tells her that’s up to the doctors. I would say it’s up to God, or at the very least, the skill of the doctors, but I’ll let it pass.

At the hospital, Jordan asks if there’s any word. Maxie says whoever shot Faison did less damage than was done to Nathan. Jordan tells her that Jason shot him when he tried to hold Carly hostage. Maxie wants to know why Jason didn’t kill him. She has no compassion for Faison, the same way he had none for those he’s hurt. Nathan is wheeled past, and Maxie tells Griff to wait a second. She tells Nathan that she and the baby will be waiting when he pulls through, and to hang in for them. Griff says, gotta go, and she tells him she knows he and Nathan have their own history. I had to think about that for a minute. It was with Claudette, in case you forgot, and Nathan once shot Griff. She asks him to promise not to let it affect things, and to save Nathan. Griff promises he’ll do everything he can. I’m laughing because for someone who wanted Nathan in surgery so quickly, Maxie is the one holding it up.

Dante tells Nina and Valentin that Faison is in Port Charles, and they think he was hiding there. Valentin says they were on vacation. He could have moved in, and they would have had no idea. Sonny says they think Lulu was in the stables. They found an empty cannister, but no sign of her. Dante tells them that she was following a lead. Nina says Lulu has been a journalist all of two weeks, and now took it upon herself to search for the world’s most wanted criminal. Like what she did with Nathan, pulling him in to the interview. Sonny asks if any tunnels lead to the stables. Valentin opens a secret door (I love a secret door!), and Lulu runs to Dante. Obrecht walks past her, saying hello to Nina like nothing weird is happening. I love Obrecht.

Jordan asks Maxie what happened. Maxie says it’s blurry, and everything happened fast. There was a problem at Crimson, so she went to the office, taking Shane with her. They went to Nina’s office, and Peter was sitting there with a strange look on his face. She heard a thud, and turned around to find that Faison had knocked the officer out. When he asked Peter to move the body, Peter got Shane’s gun, but Faison shot him. Jordan is surprised Peter got shot. Maxie says she saw it, and thought he’d been hit, but he wasn’t. After Faison shot Nathan, Peter went after him. Jordan asks if Peter shot at Faison, but Maxie was focused on Nathan. Peter called 911, and helped her. Bobbie suggests they take a break.

Peter goes back to the MetroCourt. Carly tells him that the public areas and the offices are still sealed until the police get things figured out. Peter wants to get his iPad, and Carly is mystified that he wants to work. Maybe he wants to play Neopets. How does she know? She thinks he’s probably still in shock. Carly thanks him for the tip about Lulu, and he says he hopes they find her. Carly asks where he went, and his phone rings. It’s Jordan. She asks if he’s okay, and tells him she needs him to come to the station.

Anna asks Jason what happened with the cops, and he says they let him go, but he has to make a statement later. The security footage will back him up though. Anna wishes he’d killed Faison, and tells him not to tell Robin she said that. She’s tried to be honorable and principled for her, but hasn’t always been that way. It’s how Faison got to her in the first place. If she’d really wanted to be the good person she should be for Robin, she can’t put a bullet in his head the way she’s dreamt of doing. So she’s undertaken half-measures, like putting him in the pit, and he always comes back. Jason says, not this time. One way or the other, he has to die. Anna says she’ll pretend she didn’t hear that. The same way she’ll pretend to be surprised if he follows through. She’s going to the hospital in the hopes that maybe Faison is drugged up enough to tell the truth. Jason says there’s something she should know. Before he took Carly hostage, he shot Nathan. That was the disturbance at the MetroCourt. Anna says, his son?  

Dante asks Lulu how she got out. She tells him about finding the passageway, but by the time they made it to the tunnels, it was pitch black. Obrecht woke up enough to remember where the opening was. She tells Dante he was late, and she couldn’t just wait around. Sonny says the cannister seemed pretty old, and Lulu says Obrecht didn’t think the gas would be as potent after all this time. Faison left to go after Nathan, and Dante explains that Nathan was badly wounded. She asks if Carly is okay, and Sonny says she was just shaken up. Sonny leaves for the hotel, and Dante goes back to work. Nina says good thing they got home early. She wonders who’s watching Charlotte, and Lulu says she’s with Dante’s mother. Valentin says next time she decides to go on a tear, to let them know. Lulu thinks it was a good thing Charlotte was with Olivia with Faison lurking around. She says it’s interesting timing that they leave just as Faison needs a place to hide. Oh Lulu, drop it.

At the hospital, Anna finds out about Nathan and Faison. Jason leaves to talk to Maxie. Finn thought Anna might have been the one who shot Faison, but she says she was pursuing another angle. He tells her that she doesn’t have to act like it’s not difficult. She says it’s her job to deal with him, the same way his job is to treat him. Finn says, like it or not, and leaves to check on something.

Anna looks at Faison through the window of his room.

At the station, Peter isn’t sure what he can tell Jordan. He was dropping something off at Crimson, when Faison showed up. He didn’t seem interested in Peter, and told him to stay where he was. Then Maxie and her guard arrived. Jordan gets a call from Dante, who tells her that Obrecht and Lulu are safe. She tells him there’s something he needs to know about Nathan. Lulu sees Dante’s face, and asks, what is it?

Maxie wishes Jason had gotten to Faison before he got to Nathan. She tells Jason that Faison is out of surgery. He went in first, but she doesn’t think he was hurt as badly, and it’s not fair. He should be the one hurting, not Nathan. Jason says he’s sorry it happened this way, but at least he’s been stopped. Maxie asks if he’s sure, and Jason tells her that he’s going to make sure.

Anna stands over Faison. He opens his eyes. She says, oh good, he’s awake. She tells him they need to talk.

Sonny tells Carly about what happened on Spoon Island. He says it’s lucky Faison didn’t shoot her, like he did Nathan. She says if Lucas hadn’t been there, Nathan wouldn’t have made it; he’s in surgery now. Sonny asks about Maxie, and Carly says she’s trying to stay positive. Sonny wonders why Faison went to Crimson.

Maxie asks how many times Jason has been shot, and he says, a few. She wonders if it helps to have people who love you there. Can it be felt, or is that just something people in the waiting room tell themselves? He says he could feel it, and thinks Nathan can too. Maxie knows he wouldn’t say it out of politeness, so she’s sure he means it. He has Something to take care of, but tells her if there’s anything he can do, let him know. She asks him to make sure Faison never hurts anyone the way he hurt Nathan again.

Obrecht comes in to the hospital, and wants to assist in surgery. Bobbie says she can’t; she’s Nathan’s mother. Obrecht says no one cares more about him, but Nina tells her to let them do their jobs. Bobbie takes Obrecht to find out what’s going on, and Nina asks Maxie how she and the baby are doing. Maxie says, Nathan saved us; he’ll be fine.

Peter tells Jordan that Faison knocked Shane out, and told him to get Shane out of the way. He grabbed Shane’s gun, but before he could fire, Faison took a shot at him. He dove to the ground, and thinks he must have hit his head. He doesn’t remember anything until hearing Maxie screaming. He took the gun and aimed, but Faison ran. Jordan asks if he fired, but he doesn’t remember; it happened so fast, he’s not sure. Jordan says they can check the gun, and asks what made him think to pick it up? which is about the stupidest question ever. Peter says Faison was talking about taking Maxie, since she was carrying his grandchild. Jordan thinks it was a miracle Peter wasn’t shot. Dante and Lulu walk in, and Dante tells Peter that if Nathan dies, his blood is on Peter’s hands. Huh?

Faison asks Anna how Nathan is, and she says, fighting for his life. Faison says, the wrong one, and Anna asks if he’s talking about Henrik. He asks what she knows about Henrik, and she says, nothing. She just found out about him, which is surprising, considering the number of years Faison has tormented her. She asks if he tortured Henrik too, and if Henrik turned on him. It’s what he does to everyone. He says it wasn’t like that. It was never his fault. She asks whose fault it was, and he says, the Cassadines.

Orderly Neil tells Maxie he’s sorry her husband was injured. She says he wasn’t injured; he was shot. He knows it’s a difficult time, but decisions have to be made. They don’t know if Nathan is an organ donor. Maxie says, yes, but it doesn’t matter; he’s going to be fine. Does Neil know something she doesn’t? He says they just need to be prepared, but Maxie says, no; he’ll get through it. He’ll be there when the baby is born, and they’ll live long and happy lives. Bobbie tells Neil she’ll take over from here. Neil hopes Nathan pulls through. Maxie says Nathan has been shot twice and pulled through. Nothing will be different this time. Bobbie asks if Maxie wants her to call her parents, and Maxie says that would be nice. Tell them it’s serious, but he’ll be fine.

Carly tells Sonny there will be a lot of comped hotel bills, and he says Faison is the gift that keeps on giving. Ha-ha! She says Lulu practically dared him to come after Nathan; he must have been after Maxie. They can’t think of anyone else at Crimson who would matter to him.

Dante says Peter put this in motion, and for what? Money? Peter doesn’t get how Dante is blaming him, but Dante says he wanted the interview. Lulu could have been killed because of him. Lulu says she knows he’s worried, but Peter didn’t make her do anything. If anyone is to blame, it’s her. Jordan says, it’s been a long night, and asks Peter to make himself available in case there are more questions. Peter tells Dante for what it’s worth, he hopes Nathan pulls through (the phrase of the day).

Anna asks what Faison is talking about; what Cassadine? How are they connected? Finn comes in, and asks Anna what she’s doing. She says Faison has answers, but Finn says he won’t be much use if he’s dead. Anna tells him that she was told he was stable. Finn says that doesn’t mean she can wrestle with him. As soon as he’s in a regular room, she can question him, but bring someone with her. She says she can handle him, but Finn says she’s not hearing him. The maximum damage was done without killing him, and she needs to bring a witness. If he dies while she’s questioning him, no one will say she did it.

Jason looks through the window at Faison, and goes into his room. Don’t you dare, Jason. Although no one ever really dies on this show. Helena has been dead for years, and she’s still on recurring status.

Sonny says if Faison was going after Maxie, why not go to her apartment? Why go to where it’s complicated to get out, there are cameras, and potential witnesses? Carly says he’s arrogant. Sonny says he might be arrogant, but he’s also a professional. Why take the risk when there’s an easier alternative? What else would he want? That’s what worries him. Neither one of them has any idea.

Dante asks what Nathan’s chances are, and Jordan says it’s too soon to tell. Maxie and the baby were unharmed, but Nathan was shot in front of her. She’s holding it together, and they got a pretty coherent account. She tells him there’s a stray bullet at the office that needs to be bagged. It missed Peter.

Peter goes to the park, and looks in a garbage can. He finds a bulletproof vest, with a bullet lodged in it. He takes out the bullet, puts the vest back in the can, and sets it on fire.

Finn asks Anna what Faison said. She tells him the missing son is connected to the Cassadines. Finn asks if she didn’t tell him that Faison worked with Helena.

Jason stands over Faison. They look at each other.

Maxie wonders what’s taking so long. Nina says it’s complex surgery, and will take a while. Obrecht says it’s all her fault. She shouldn’t have claimed him as her son. Maxie says, don’t. She’s his mother, and he loves her. He’ll want to see her when he wakes up. She takes Obrecht’s hand, and Obrecht says, thank you, daughter. Maxie takes Nina’s hand with her other one. Valentin looks at them sadly. Griff comes out. Maxie asks if Nathan is okay.

Tomorrow, Finn says let’s see where this goes, Peter tells Drew and Sam to own the story, and Jason questions Faison.

Vanderpump Rules

Jax tells Brittany’s mother it’s good to see her, but I doubt he really feels that way. In her interview, Kristen says Brittany is way too good for Jax, and wants to break them up. Jax ditches the room. Brittany tells her mom she’s doing okay, but she’s still heartbroken, and it’s not going to go away. Sherri isn’t sure he’s the right one for her. Brittany says she knows that. GO…NOW!

Katie meets Lala for lunch. In her interview, Katie says they don’t have the best track record, but they’ve squashed their beef, and are spending one-on-one time together. She tells Lala it’s 100% good on her end. Lala says she forgives and forgets, and she’s trying to find her place in the group. She tells Katie that Scheana is upset with her, and it’s sad seeing them in a bad place. Katie says she has no issues with Scheana, and she’s the one who keeps bringing up the Rob rumor. Lala is all about female empowerment, and wants them all to get along. Lala has certainly redeemed herself from the last season she was on. Lisa Vanderpump does another miracle. Only one more to go before sainthood.

Lisa arrives at SUR. She asks Peter for a shot of something I’ve never heard of. In his interview, he says in the nine years he’s worked for her, it’s been either rosé or pinot noir, and he’s stunned. He invites her to his birthday party, and gives her the shot. She hands it back to him, tells him happy birthday, and asks for a cup of tea.

Scheana asks Lala how lunch was. Lala says Katie was cool, didn’t say a bad word about Scheana, and swears she hasn’t been talking about Rob at all. In her interview, Lala says the feud started with her, but she feels like it’s their job as women to get past it and forgive. Scheana says she’s practically having panic attacks over it. Please.

It’s time for Peter’s birthday party. Ariana tells us that in the past, Peter has only had dudes at his birthday parties. This is a first for the chicks. Kristen says she has another surprise coming for Jax. I can’t wait. Jax tells James that Kristen is behind Brittany’s mother visiting. Her sister, Tiffany, walks in. I guess that’s Kristen’s other surprise. Jax wonders if her grandmother and father are showing up next. Brittany tells her sister what’s been happening. Tiffany says she likes Jax, but if he’s going to cheat on Brittany, he should go. We flash back to Tiffany and Jax not getting along very well in Kentucky. Brittany says it should be interesting.

Lisa graces everyone with her presence. Jax tries to be friendly. Everyone drinks continuous shots. Stassi says Patrick is in Amsterdam. He decided to take a trip without her because he’s an enormous jerk. Peter is the only ex she doesn’t fantasize about murdering, so she doesn’t mind doting on him tonight. He takes a bite of his cake directly from the cake.

Lisa sits with Brittany’s mom, who says she’s devastated. She doesn’t want Brittany with Jax anymore unless there’s a big change.

Brittany tells Jax it’s an amazing day. He needs to make it up to her mother and sister. If she matters at all, he’ll put in the effort to make them okay with her family. Their opinion means everything to her. If he can’t do that, he can’t be with her.

Lala is concerned about being the main source of what happened between Katie and Scheana. She tells Scheana how much she loves her, and James butts in. Scheana snarks at Kristen, and Lala screeches, enough! She’s over it. She tells Scheana that she’s done with everyone blaming each other. They need to have a united f-ing front as women. Stassi thinks it’s terrifying, but oddly beautiful, to watch Lala lose her sh*t. In her interview, Scheana says Katie has always been a bitch. Last year, she used her wedding as an excuse, and now she’s cozying up to Lala, and she won’t have it. She calls them fake, and Schwartz says she’s the fakest of the fake. Scheana says at least he’s being a man for once, and he calls her a bougie Kardashian, who’s fake from head to toe. All she cares about are selfies. She says all he cares about is making out with chicks in bars. Lisa tells Sherri that she feels like they’re in the cheap seats, making Sherri laugh. Scheana says that she wants to spare Lala her fate, and the girls “got in her head” last year. In her interview, Ariana thinks Scheana is being genuine, and that Katie is trying to redeem herself. If she gives Katie the benefit of the doubt. Which she doesn’t. Lala says Scheana may have PTSD – after finally getting the letters straight – but she’s stuck with her. I have no idea what these drunk people are even talking about at this point. What happened to just drinking and dancing?

James and Lala play tennis. She says her man likes to play tennis, and he’s good, so she’s taking lessons. James asks if she talked to Katie. Lala feels like a lot was going on. She asks if James thinks Scheana is being antagonized. She tried, and if they want to go to war, she’s washing her hands. She calls the whole thing a circus.

Jax comes bearing food for the women in his life. Brittany is making him work. Sherri says the butler needs to get them some better food. She wants to talk to Jax, but he stalls. In his interview, he’s thinking of going to Canada, but then realizes he has a felony.

Lala asks about Logan. She thinks he wishes James was gay; he has mad love for him. James slips, calling Logan his girlfriend. He thinks Logan needs to find a boyfriend, although he does admit, what’s not to love about himself? How long does he have?

Tiffany tells them that Logan told her that he’s sleeping with James, and called Raquel stupid. Jax thinks maybe it’s true. Brittany says James is going to freak when he finds out.

During downtime at SUR, Schwartz tells Lisa he was out of line and disrespectful to Scheana at Peter’s party. Lisa wonders why he’s telling her, and he thought she’d like that he stood up for Katie. He says Katie has changed and matured so much. Katie joins them, saying he’s being a good husband. Scheana doesn’t understand how she and Lala can be friends, and is giving her grief. In his interview, Schwarz says the hypocrisy was too much, with Scheana calling Katie fake. In her interview, Lisa says she’s not as much of a pushover as Sherri, but Jax will do anything to get over.

The guys join Guillermo at the gym. Tom says people sometimes challenge him to a jump rope off. He doesn’t know what that’s about, but he’s never lost. Jax punches the bag. They sit outside afterward. James says he heard about Kristen flying Brittany’s mother out. In his interview, James thinks Kristen is the same crazy bitch she always was. Jax tells him about Logan crying to Tiffany, saying he and James are hooking up. James doesn’t believe it, but Jax wonders why she’d say that if it wasn’t true. In his interview, Schwartz says there’s a 77% chance. James asks if he thinks there’s any truth to it, and Jax says it’s none of his business.

Stassi and Kristen go to SUR for dinner. Kristen feels like she’s on a date. Brittany thanks Kristen. She tells Lala about what Logan told her sister. Lala thanks Logan wants more, and James wants people to find him hot. Kristen doesn’t think he wants to date guys, but has definitely taken a dip in the penis pond. This isn’t of concern, but James cheating on his girlfriend is.

James and Raquel go to a wine making/tasting. James says he feels weird, and Raquel is uncomfortable. James says he lets a lot slide, but Logan can’t disrespect his girlfriend. He says it’s not true, but Raquel says that’s not the problem; it’s the girls she worries about. He says the whole world wants to have sex with him. Must be the whole world minus one, because I don’t.

Jax takes Tiffany and Sherri out to dinner. He hopes they’re enjoying their time. He was blindsided, but he’s happy Kristen brought them. In his interview, He says Kristen wants to burn his relationship to the ground, and has a weird obsession. Sherri asks if it was just a one-time thing, and he claims it was just the act; he doesn’t really care about anyone else. He tells her that he’s had a lot of issues, and gone down bad roads. He was frustrated with Brittany’s lack of motivation. Sherri thinks Brittany does a lot for him, and wonders what he does with his time. He’s like, details, details, skipping right over that question, and says he doesn’t do things to hurt people. He’s not happy with himself. He’s a selfish, terrible person. Well, he got that right. Sherri says she’s seen good things in him, like what he did for her son. We flash back to when he donated money toward the making-a-baby cause in Kentucky. Sherri says she’ll give him a second chance, and she loves him. She’s believing in him. In his interview, he tells Kristen to suck it. I’m so disappointed.

James is coming by Jax and Brittany’s place. Jax doesn’t want to get any more involved in James’s sex scandal with Logan, so he jets. Brittany asks her mother how dinner went. Sherri thinks Jax is dissatisfied with himself, and told them he’s a terrible person. She’s willing to give him a second chance, but they agree to support Brittany, whatever her decision. James arrives. Tiffany tells him about what Logan told her, and that he said Raquel is an idiot. James tells them not to say anything, and calls Logan. Logan tells James that he said it, but it’s a lie. It was just him being a bitch and in love with him. James wonders how they can be friends, calls him a piece of sh*t, and hangs up. James says he wasn’t a true friend, and starts crying. He leaves, and Tiffany says she feels badly for Logan, since he’s obviously in love with James.

Jax returns. In his interview, he says it sounds like James put on quite a performance. Although I’m no fan of James, I don’t think he’s insincere, just highly emotional. It’s time for Sherri and Tiffany to leave. Brittany is glad they came. It made her feel better about her decision to stay with Jax. All three of them are crazy. Jax packs Sherri and Tiffany into a car, and the two of them head to the airport. In his interview, he says everything is perfect. He has his girl and a cold case of beer in the fridge; the end. Brittany says she’s exhausted.

Next time, a fire at SUR, Schwartz’s triplet brothers visit, Katie cries to Lisa, and Jax meets with the Reiki instructor. That didn’t take long.

🌞 Re Summer House. This group’s idea of fun just boggles my mind. These are grown people with decent jobs who, no doubt, spent a bundle to rent a fabulous house in the Hamptons for the summer. They drink to the point of blacking out and making out with people they don’t even like, tear stuff up, have food fights, and immature, dramatic arguments over they don’t even know what. News flash: letting your freak flag fly doesn’t mean doing Jell=O shots and smushing a cake into someone’s face. After I started watching Vanderpump Rules, the difference in the behavior of my friends and I at that age was so vast, I thought maybe it was an East Coast/West Coast thing, but this is the East Coast (despite one of the girls sounding exactly like a Kardashian). So what the blip? It’s like Jersey Shore (which, I assure you, is nothing like the Jersey Shore) got plopped into Long Island. And why am I still watching it? That’s a good question. Horrible fascination? Speaking of East Coast/West Coast…

🎧 I watched All Eyez on Me over the weekend, and it wasn’t bad. I’ve been interested in rap and hip-hop since its inception (except don’t get me started about how Gilbert and Sullivan – two older gay white guys – were the ones who really invented rap with the patter song in the 1800s), so I love the music of that time period. The story was really nothing we didn’t know already, although I understand a few people weren’t too happy with it – namely, Jada Pinkett Smith – but I wasn’t there, so who knows? Danai Gurira (Michonne, The Walking Dead) did a nice turn as Tupac’s mother, even though she looked young enough to be his date. The main thing for me was the music, and it was on point. Also impressive was the casting. It was amazing how much these actors looked and sounded like the people they were portraying. I wonder if Demetrius Shipp Jr. is the reason the rumor of Tupac still being alive, is still alive.

🎥 I also watched A Cure for Wellness, which I’d like to rename What the Hell was That? and Rough Night, which is like Weekend at Bernie’s with chicks, and not as funny.

General Hospital

Lucas meets with Carly and Bobbie at the MetroCourt. Lucas says there’s something he’s wanted to talk about for a while. Nothing is decided, but it feels weird not to talk about it. Carly jokes that they know he’s gay. Bobbie tells him spit it out. He says he and Brad have decided to adopt a baby.

Jason tells Sonny he’s wearing a wire, so Sonny can hear from the car. Sonny wants to wait with him, since they don’t really know PK Sinclair. Jason says it’s circumstantial evidence, but if they’re right, they can use him to lure Faison out. Sonny says if Anna doesn’t show, she’ll miss it. Jason thinks that might be a good thing. Sonny thinks she’s too close to it.

Finn whines about Anna tending to his wound. She says it was that or, a bullet in his head; which would he prefer? He’s thinking.

Jordan tells Dante that Faison could be anywhere

At the hospital, Nathan asks Amy if she’s seen Maxie. He can’t find her. She says she’ll check to see if Maxie was admitted.

Faison says Maxie is gorgeous; his son has excellent taste. She tells him to stay away from her. Peter starts to say something, but Faison tells him to shut up. Faison says, Maxie Jones, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. He tells her that they have a lot of catching up to do.

Carly and Bobbie want the details from Lucas. He says they explored other options, but he and Brad are both adopted, and they did fine. Bobbie says they’ll be blessed.

Sonny says it’s not like Anna to be late. Jason says if Faison is in Port Charles, she would be his first stop. Sonny says if she doesn’t get there soon, he’s going to send someone to her house. They don’t know if this guy is more psycho than his father.

Finn tells Anna this could have been avoided if she’d listened to him about not putting the gun down. Or she could have run. She says she’s not used to leaving hostages with homicidal maniacs. Jordan and Dante come in. Anna says she already gave her statement. Jordan asks if there’s anything to add, and Finn says Faison is obsessed with Anna. Anna says they know. She tells Jordan they’ll reconnect later. They leave, and Finn asks if they’re supposed to pretend he’s not obsessed with her. She asks if he’ll be okay. She’d like to stay and play nursemaid, but people need protection from Faison, and she’s the best person for that. he tells her to be careful. He also needs a shave. He didn’t say that; it’s just my observation.

Lulu yells for help. Obrecht tells her not to waste her breath; she’ll just inhale more poison. Faison left them where he knew no one would come. His revenge is swift and precise. Accept it.

Amy tells Nathan that Maxie isn’t at the hospital. She asks if he checked Crimson. She got a call about a crisis at the magazine. Nathan jets.

Maxie tells Faison a lot of people are looking for him, but he says he couldn’t care less. She says not just the cops, but the WSB and Sonny. Sonny isn’t happy about him shooting Jason, and Jason didn’t enjoy the experience. Faison calls them street thugs, and Maxie says his ego makes him stupid. Jason has the best technological support there is, and they’ll track him down. Jason will kill him, and that’s fine with her and Nathan, but to save them the hassle, she’s giving him a chance to take off, and she’ll wait a whole minute to call 911. He asks how he can run from a woman who’s making him a grandfather? He tells Peter to get Shane out of there, and Peter drags an unconscious Shane to another room.

Faison asks Maxie how long Nathan has known about him being his father? Did he tell their kid there might be genius in their DNA? Maxie says their kid has a grandfather who’s a psychopath, but they didn’t find out until after they knew they were pregnant. Faison says she’s pregnant, not Nathan, and she says it probably never occurred to him to love and support the women who’ve had his children. She thinks they should have their heads examined, and that includes Obrecht. Although she gets points for hiding Nathan from him. Faison calls that an unforgivable crime. Maxie says she should have listened to Obrecht, but instead they looked for answers and found him. Peter comes back with Shane’s gun, but Faison is quick, and shoots him.

Jason asks if Sonny can hear. He tells Sonny it’s quiet; no movement. If he’s there, he’s watching. Anna gets in the van, and asks Sonny what she missed.

Alexis says Finn missed the meeting, and he tells her that he was otherwise engaged. She sees his wound, and says she knows a good attorney. He says it was Anna, and she says if Anna clobbered him, it must hurt. Finn says Anna claimed she was saving his life, but he’s not sure. Alexis says apparently, he decided to go on the danger highway in the passenger seat at breakneck speed after all.

Bobbie tells Lucas that she saw papers lying around, but has learned never to question your own kids about having kids. He says they’re waist deep in the process. He was wondering if they’d write recommendation letters. Carly says they’ll be amazing parents. Bobbie is proud, and says Tony would be too. Carly is going to start saving Avery’s baby clothes. Bobbie and Lucas leave, and Carly is told there’s a disturbance on the third floor.

Lulu coughs, and says they can’t give up. Obrecht says it will be all right, and lies down. She says it won’t be painful. like going to sleep. Lulu says, no. There has to be a way out.

Nathan arrives at the MetroCourt. Carly says she thinks the commotion is at Crimson, and someone heard gunshots. Nathan calls in for backup and the paramedics.

Faison tells Maxie that it’s not worth her tears. She tells him, screw you, and he tells her to shut up; it’s time to go. She says she’s not going anywhere with him. He says he’d like to kill her, but if anyone can live with disappointment, it’s him. The elevator opens, and Nathan comes in.

Faison shoots him before realizing who it is. Nathan falls to the ground.

Sonny thought Anna wasn’t going to show up, and she tells him about Faison coming to her house, and how he had Finn. She says he’s going to want to introduce himself to Nathan. Henrik has a target on his back, and they have to protect him. Sonny says she can protect all she wants, but that’s not going to work for him. Anna says he can question Henrik, but not use him as bait. Sonny says they’re playing by his rules. He gets a call from Carly, who asks if Jason is there. She needs them at the MetroCourt. She thinks there’s been a shooting. A guest called the desk about a disturbance, Nathan showed up, and called for backup, but no one is there yet. She’s getting reports of screaming and gunfire. Listening in, Jason says he’s on his way. Anna tells Sonny she’ll stay and wait. Sonny tells her if Henrik shows up, to keep him with her. They need answers. Sonny leaves for the MetroCourt.

Carly tells Lucas to leave; there could be gunfire. He says somebody might need a doctor, and goes upstairs

Maxie runs to Nathan, and tells him to stay with her. She tells Faison that he shot his own son, and Faison says they have to go. He grabs Maxie, but Peter has miraculously bounced back, and tells Faison to drop the gun. Faison takes off, and Peter calls 911. Maxie tells Nathan it will be okay, and Nathan says he loves her. Peter thinks it’s bad. Maxie says Nathan got there in time, and saved them. Well, actually, I think that was more what Peter just did. Nathan says, Faison, and she tells him not to worry about him; just look at her. She talks about when she pretended not to like him at first, but was always hoping he’d be at the apartment, and how she watches him hum to himself. He insists he doesn’t hum, but she says he does, and she loves it. The baby will too. Lucas arrives, and Maxie tells him that Faison tried taking her, and Nathan got shot. He tells Nathan to hang in for Maxie. The ambulance is on the way.

Alexis tells Finn there’s a meeting tonight, but he says they have the worst donuts. What he needs is a good research project to keep him in the lab for the next two years. Alexis says, losing himself in work; been there, done that, and it’s a temporary fix. The more you run from your problems, the more they follow you, and the more you ignore them, the bigger they get. He asks if she’s always been this way, or is it a byproduct of the 12-step program. He tells her that he’s not keen on pouring his heart out to get judged, and doesn’t want to be told things he already knows, like that he’s an idiot. Alexis says he’s not an idiot. Anna leads a dangerous life, but she’s no one to judge if he wants to step back. He doesn’t want to step back; he wants to go all in.

Anna waits, wondering where Henrik is. She thinks he must know the risk he took. He knows how dangerous Faison is. Did he betray Faison to save a life or to get revenge. She won’t let Faison destroy him.

Lulu tells Obrecht that she’ll get them out of there. She sees the old Beware the Chupacabra sign. Lulu looks around, and says she hopes that’s what she thinks it is.

Outside the MetroCourt, Dante tells Sonny there was a shooting, and Nathan is there. Sonny thinks Faison will probably wait for him to get there. Dante tells him no one is going in, and that includes him. Sonny asks if Dante is going to arrest him, but Jordan says that’s not necessary. Sonny tells her that they’re supposed to be going after Faison, not him. She tells him if he doesn’t back off, she’ll have him arrested for obstruction of justice.

Carly tells the receptionist to leave. She’ll stay and make sure the guests get out safely. Faison comes up behind her, and asks if she works there. She says she’s the owner, and he says he’s sure she must know a private exit, away from the cops; lead the way, please. At least he’s polite. She says he’ll have to kill her, but he tells her that he’ll shoot an innocent bystander. Is that what she wants? She tells him, okay, but Jason suddenly shows up, gun drawn. He tells Faison to let her go, and Faison asks why he should do that. Jason shoots him. Whoa.

Alexis says, Finn still wants to work with Anna after his brush with death? He knows it contradicts his recovery. By any reasonable measure, he should put distance between them. He asks what she knows about Faison, and she tells him that Faison was an associate of late, hateful stepmother; he’s a psychotic criminal. Finn says he got that impression when Faison was holding him at gunpoint. He knew it was not if, but when Faison was going to shoot him. The most disturbing thing was how he talked about Anna; he’s obsessed with her. When she showed up, he could tell she was afraid, but they both messed with each other’s heads; it was impressive. Physical courage is one thing, but this was another. She was staring down a man who’s been after her most of her life. It was more like valor. Alexis asks what happens next, but Finn doesn’t know. He just knows that when Anna was facing Faison, with the possibility of him shooting her, he saw a glimpse of his future without her, and didn’t like what he saw.

Anna continues to wait. We flash back to when we were all kids. She tells Faison that she loves Robert. He says he’s sure she’ll change her mind. Omg, I love these old clips.

Dante says Faison is alive, but needs a paramedic. Jordan tells Jason to turn over his gun, and yells for medical. Sonny asks if Carly is okay. She’s fine, and says, that was over fast. Yes, it was. Jason says he’s heard her when she called Sonny, and Sonny had told him not to miss. She’s glad he made it. She tells Jordan about Nathan and Lucas being upstairs. Peter comes down, saying there’s one unconscious, and another shot. The paramedics go upstairs. Peter gives a strange, wistful look to Faison on the stretcher. Sonny asks if he’s going to make it. Faison removes his oxygen mask, and says, he’d better hope so, if Dante wants to see his wife again. Dante goes nuts, but is pulled back. Peter tells him about Lulu going to Windemere.

The paramedics work on Nathan. Jordan tells Maxie what happened, and Shane comes out. Maxie says it’s not his fault. She got a call about a work emergency, and Faison was waiting for them. As Nathan is taken out, he gives a thumbs up.

Finn thanks Alexis for listening. She identifies, knowing what it’s like to care for someone who’s not good for you. He asks if she’s talking about Julian. She tells him to keep his eyes open. Adrenaline is a powerful drug. It led to her addiction; make sure it doesn’t resurrect his own.

Anna has another flashback about her and Faison when they were youngsters. Faison kisses her neck, and I want to die. Finn calls, but she doesn’t answer.

Dante and Sonny go to Windemere. Sonny smells gas. Dante kicks down the door.

Carly asks why Jason didn’t tell her to duck, but he says any warning, and Faison would have shot her. He’s sorry he scared her, but she says he saved her life, so she forgives him. She says she has one question, and he says, just one? She asks if he was trying to kill Faison. He says if he was, he would have taken a head shot. As it is, Faison can talk – at least for now. She asks what that means, and he says Faison is old. He’s going to have organ damage, blood loss, and shock. She asks what if he dies before answering? Jason says, at least he’ll be dead, and he’s okay with that. He and Sonny were working with Anna, and every time she said his name, he could see something in her eyes worse than fear. Anna isn’t the only one whose life Faison destroyed. It has to stop.

Anna wonders out loud where Henrik is. She says she can help him. Someone is watching. Yep, it’s Peter.

At the hospital, Bobbie grabs Finn. They see Faison wheeled in, with Nathan behind him, and Maxie following. Amy tells Maxie that she promises they’ll take care of Nathan. Bobbie says he has the best team working on him, and Maxie says she knows he’ll be just fine.

Finn works on Faison. Um… isn’t that a conflict? Maxie tells Bobbie that she tried stalling, but it wasn’t enough. Faison was going to take her, then the elevator door opened, and Nathan was there. He saved her.

On Monday, Anna meets Henrik, there’s a code blue for both Faison and Nathan, and Jason says if Faison dies, there’s somebody else who knows.
