What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

Elizabeth says, they have to find a connection between Dex and Sam other than her, and Lucky says, she had nothing to do with it. Aiden comes in and says, look who he found hanging around their front door. Cameron says, merry Christmas, and he and Elizabeth hug.

Walking into her apartment on the phone, Josslyn says she’s fine. She promises to call if she’s not. Love you too. She picks up a gift from under the tree and the tag says, To Dex, Love, Joss.

In a busy room, Felicia tells Jordan, a coat drive, a food pantry, a healthy clinic, and now flu shots. Does Jordan think it’s enough? It’s amazing. Jordan says she wants to do more, and Felicia says, she should be proud of putting all this together.

As Nina decorates, she says she’s not sure if she’s going to get done before Wiley and Amelia come out of the playroom. Ava asks if they’ve been in there all week, and Nina says, they love the new nanny she hired and so does Willow. Ava says, given time, Nina would bring in a real reindeer, and Nina says, she wants it to be special for Wiley and Amelia. Is it too much? Ava says she loves it, but Nina should make sure her eggnog is spiked.

Curtis shows Michael the early quarterly report, and Michael says, it’s way below market expectations. Curtis says, according to the final report, they’re doing well, but looking at the draft, it would be an easy mistake to make thinking it’s the final. What does Michael think would happen if it got leaked? Michael says, the stock price would crater, and Curtis says, if that happened, someone like Michael would be able to buy up the Aurora stock and be the majority shareholder. Then he can be officially named CEO like they planned.

On the phone in front of the coffee warehouse, Jason says, no one can hide from Spinelli, not even Valentin… Time isn’t something they have. Carly flies in and asks how could Jason not tell her that Willow cheated on Michael with Drew?

Jordan says, so far, so good, and Felicia says, it’s great. Jordan says, having the GH staff here put them over the top. She thanks Felicia for making it happen.

Cameron introduces Gretchen Ross, and Elizabeth asks if she’s the Gretchen from Music Theory. Gretchen says, so Cameron has been talking about her, and he says, her name come up once or twice. He and Lucky hug, and he introduces Lucky to Gretchen. He says, a lot has changed. Look how big Aiden is. Aiden says he didn’t stop growing when Cameron left, and Elizabeth asks if they’re hungry. She has food in the fridge, but nothing prepared. Cameron says he’s sorry he didn’t give her a heads up that he was coming early, but Elizabeth tells him not to apologize for her having more time with him. He says, about Christmas…

Trina comes into the apartment and says she thought Josslyn was at her mom’s. Josslyn says she was… Trina says, it doesn’t matter, and hugs her. She’s so sorry. Josslyn says she can’t feel anything.

Jason and Carly walk inside the warehouse, and Jason says, Carly can get mad at him, but first, how’s Josslyn? She says, not great. She wanted to go back to her apartment. He says, maybe that’s a good thing, and she says, maybe. Josslyn doesn’t need to worry about her brother’s marriage. He asks, what happened? and she says, Tracy blasted footage on the big screen at the Christmas party of Drew and Willow together. And by together she means… Jason says he knows what she means. She says, he saw the footage? and he says, Michael showed him. She asks if that’s why he beat up Drew, and he says, yes. She asks why he didn’t tell her, but he says, it wasn’t his place. It was Michael’s.

Curtis asks if Michael is comfortable leaking the early report, and Michael says, people could mistakenly conclude Aurora is on the verge of Chapter 11. Curtis says, a simple clerical error, and Michael says he has a friend at the Wall Street Journal that he could leak it to, but there’s something he needs to run by Curtis first. Curtis says, Michael isn’t backing out, and Michael says, not him. What about Curtis?

Willow says, Isaiah doesn’t fit the typical surgeon profile, and he says, because he’s not arrogant and self-important? She says she’s known surgeons like that… Not him. He says he loves helping people, and she says, her too, and it takes her mind off her own problems. Obviously, they don’t compare with what these people are going through. Drew walks in and Jordan gives him a look that makes me laugh.

Ava says she’s sorry to drop in on Nina’s holiday extravaganza when she’s dealing with this situation. Her trial is finally over. Nina says she’s happy Ava got off and glad she dropped by. When the dust settles, they’re going to have the most magnificent holiday. Ava says she’s never seen Nina is such a positive mood, and Nina says she’s never had her daughter and grandchildren with her. It’s a Christmas miracle. Michael has been standing between Willow and true happiness. She can finally have a relationship with her daughter. Ava says, for now, and Nina asks what she means. Ava says, Nina needs to hear this. Nina’s got to tell Willow about her and Drew before it’s too late.

Cameron says, Gretchen’s parents invited him to Key West for Christmas, and Lucky says, meeting the parents is a big step. Cameron says he feels bad. He knows Jake is in Barcelona aging up visiting his host family. Elizabeth says, he’s not missing anything. They’re going to celebrate Christmas today.

Jordan says she didn’t expect to see Drew here, and he says he wanted to thank her for her amazing work taking care of the underserved. She says she’s a public servant and serving the community is her job, and he says, she’s good at it. He also wants to thank the GH staff.

Nina says she can’t tell Willow about her relationship with Drew. Not now. Ava says she tried to get Nina to do it before, and Nina says, Willow has to be able to know she can trust her. Ava says, she will if Nina tells her the truth about her involvement with Drew before Willow had feelings for him. Nina tells her that Willow will say she should have said something when she found out they kissed, and Ava says, then apologize and tell her why she didn’t. Nina says, that’s not going to work, and Ava says, nothing will work if she’s not honest and if Willow hears it from someone else. Nina says she has no choice. If she tells Willow about her and Drew, she’ll run back to Michael.

Curtis asks why he’d want to back out, and Michael says he wants Curtis to know everything before he goes ahead. Willow and Drew’s affair came out in front of the whole family. Curtis says, damn. He’s sorry. Michael says he wants to play out what that means. Drew was going to give him Aurora when he thought all Michael knew about was the kiss. Curtis says, to buy Michael’s silence, and Michael says, to keep the peace. Now there’s no peace. Drew blames him for the affair coming out. He’s not going to let Michael near Aurora. He knows he said Drew wouldn’t keep Curtis on if he didn’t take the position, but now with this chaos, there’s a chance he’ll keep Curtis on. So now that the truth is out, Curtis can call the whole thing off. Curtis says, no, he can’t.

Jason says, If Michael wanted Carly to know, he’d have told her, but Carly says, maybe not, but she encouraged Michael to give Drew a chance to prove he’s a good guy. Drew and Willow got close because she pushed Michael to trust Drew. Jason says, Drew and Willow are responsible for their own actions, and Carly says, Michael let Willow and the kids go with Nina because he’s still in love with Willow. She didn’t think he’d let her take the kids, but if he doesn’t get them back, they’re in for a hell of a fight. Jason says, call Diane. She lives for a good fight. Carly says, she’ll show Diane the video, it explains what a sleazebag his brother is.

Drew says he’s not surprised Willow is here, and she says she signed up weeks ago. He asks Isaiah if he can borrow Willow, and Jordan gives him another icy look. They go into the hallway, and Drew says he was hoping to see her. She says, they can’t be seen together, but he says he doesn’t care. All he cares about is himself her.

Elizabeth gives Cameron a grocery list for their Christmas feast, and he leaves with Gretchen. Lucky says, she’s handling it well, and she says she had a feeling this might happen. Whenever she asked when Cameron was coming home, she didn’t get a straight answer. Now she knows why. She can afford to be flexible. It’s nice to see her son happy.

Josslyn tells Trina that after the video, she went to the hospital to see Dex. When she got there, they were trying to revive Him. She’d just spoken to him, and he was completely fine. Then he was gone. Trina says she wishes Josslyn had called her, and Josslyn says, Anna was there, and Jason stayed with her until her mom came. Her mom wanted her to stay, but she can’t. She wants to be alone. Trina asks if Josslyn wants her to go, but Josslyn says, not her. She’s glad Trina is here, but everybody else is a million miles away. Trina says she knows the feeling, and Josslyn says she knows. She kept trying to remember what she told Trina when she lost Spencer. She thought it would help, but it doesn’t. Nothing helps. Trina says, nothing will for a while. If Josslyn wants to talk or not talk or be alone or have company or just sit and look at the tree, whatever Josslyn wants to do, she’s good with it. Josslyn thanks her and takes her hand. She says she keeps thinking about Oscar. Losing him was horrible, but she knew it was coming. With Dex, she never saw it coming, so how can he be gone when she never got to say goodbye?

Curtis says he can’t predict what Drew will do or not, but he can’t work for a man like that. Michael says, Drew knows he’s coming for him. The element of surprise is gone. Curtis says, he won’t know Michael had anything to do with the leak, and Michael says, if the stock doesn’t tank, Curtis will be left with no options. Curtis says he’s willing to take that risk, but Michael has to make him CEO. Michael says, that was always the plan, but Curtis says, before he hits send and in writing. For the next five years, he’s permanent CEO of Aurora. He can’t be forced out or asked to step down. It’s his one condition. Take it or leave it.

Nina tells Ava that if Michael takes Willow back, she’ll be indebted to him for the rest of her life and it’s not the kind of life she wants for her daughter. Ava says, what if Willow wants that for herself? and Nina says, she’s infatuated with Drew because she couldn’t admit Michael is the wrong man for her. If she needs to believe Drew was her savior to leave Michael, so be it. When he goes to Washington, Willow will stay here and rebuild her life and find her own identity away from the Quartermaines. Ava says, it could happen, but people make strange choices when their marriage ends. There’s a knock at the door, and Nina says, that’s why you have to expect the unexpected. She’s way ahead of Ava. She opens the door and Martin is there.

Drew says he’s worried about Willow. How is it going at her mom’s? She says, it’s great, but hard. Carly tried to stop them, but Michael agreed that the kids belong with their mother. He says he’s glad Michael sees that, especially since he was keeping the video from her, and she says, he was hurt and she doesn’t blame him. He loves his kids. Drew says he’s sorry, but being with her meant something to him. He won’t have the Quartermaines turn it into something cheap. She says, right now, she needs to focus on her kids. She’s made mistakes that affect them and has to protect them. Drew is being sworn into congress and can’t be caught up in a scandal.

Carly wonders how she couldn’t see Drew was lying, and Jason says, it’s unfortunate, but it doesn’t negate the good things he did. He rescued Liesl Obrecht and save Willow’s life. He went to prison for Carly.  She says, he’s not the hero she thought he was and doesn’t owe him a damn thing. He says, her feelings are hers, not Michael’s. Michael has to figure it out for himself. She says, don’t tell her to back off. He had a shot at Drew. Let her have hers.

Elizabeth says, the heartbreak over Josslyn sent Cameron to California, and Lucky says, he thought distance kept heartbreak from catching up, but it doesn’t. She says she’s glad Cameron found someone he likes, and he says, it looks like she likes him back. Cameron and Gretchen return, and Cameron asks if they’re going to be meeting Tobias soon, but Aiden says, he went to Disneyland with his parents for Christmas, but they’re not at meeting the family yet. Elizabeth asks if Aiden thinks she’ll embarrass him, and Cameron says, they’ll put the groceries in the kitchen. Elizabeth tells Lucky that she’s glad the kids are happy on their own, and he says, she’s pretty great with only her.

Martin asks why he’s here, and Nina says, her daughter Willow left her husband and needs an attorney to steer her through the divorce. She also wants him to help her secure primary custody. Martin asks if she’s not being hasty. Not all separations end in divorce. Nina says, this one will, but Martin says, maybe they’ll reconcile. Nina says she’s sure they won’t, and Martin says, a lot has happened, and he gets the urgency, but he has to ask. Where is Willow and what does she want?

Drew tells Willow, there won’t be a scandal. The only people who know are his family and his family doesn’t want it to come out any more than they do. She says, the children won’t be celebrating Christmas with their father. They’ll see him, but it won’t be the same. What about him? He’s not staying at the Quartermaines anymore. He says he got a room at the Cosmopolitan and he and Scout will celebrate there. She says, until then, he’ll be alone. Jordan continues staring daggers at him, and Felicia says, if looks were lethal, Drew would be in big trouble. Jordan says, he is, and she has to do something to stop him from making a bigger mistake than he already has. Felicia asks if there’s anything she can do to help, and Jordan says, there is something Felicia can do for her and Willow. Willow tells Drew that he’s welcome to come to Nina’s and bring Scout (is she insane???), when Felicia joins them. She says she doesn’t mean to interrupt, but she needs help with the first aid kits. She doesn’t know what goes in the boxes. Willow leaves with her.

Michael signs the document and the notary signs and stamps it. Michael gives it to Curtis, who says, it’s all good. He thanks the notary and she leaves. Michael says, once he leaks this, there’s no going back, and Curtis says, damn the torpedoes. Full speed ahead. Michael hits send.

Lucky shows Gretchen pictures, and Cameron says, it’s embarrassing. He goes into the kitchen and says he’s sorry he didn’t tell Elizabeth, but she says she understands. She wants him to be happy. He seems happy with Gretchen. He says he is, but he’s taking it slow. He would have told her sooner, but he wanted to make sure things were real. She says she really does understand, and he says, it took him a long time to get over Joss. He didn’t want to jump into anything before he knew what it really was. She says, it’s tough not jumping in unless you’re just looking for a fun distraction, and he says he’s not a fun distraction kind of guy. He really likes Gretchen. She says, Gretchen really likes him too, and he says he thinks so. He hopes so. Again, he’s sorry. She says, stop. Apology accepted. They go to the living room, and Aiden asks if they can open presents. Elizabeth says she didn’t know Gretchen would be here, but Aiden says he has a present for her upstairs. Cameron says he has presents for everyone in his suitcase… which went to Key West. He sucks at Christmas. Elizabeth says, it doesn’t matter. He’s here. There’s only one other thing she wants. Will he play them a song?

Josslyn tells Trina that when Dex was working for Sonny, she was sure she’d lose him. She thought he was safer being a cop. She was so stupid. He said she was the reason he stopped working for Sonny and wanted to turn his life around. If she’s the reason he became a cop, she’s the reason he’s dead. Trina says, she can’t think like that. When Spencer died, that’s exactly what she did, and that kind of thinking goes nowhere good. Josslyn says, their situations are different, but Trina says she blamed herself that Spencer was in Paris and Esme wasn’t locked up. She thought he would be alive if she hadn’t fallen for him in the first place. Josslyn says, so would Dex, and Trina says, stop. She has to give herself time. After a while, she’ll be grateful for the time she had with Dex like she’s grateful for her time with Spencer. Josslyn says she hopes so. She doesn’t know how long she can survive feeling this way. Trina says, Josslyn can handle more than she thinks. Eventually she’ll get to the place Trina did. They loved each other and that’s a good thing. When she finally let herself live again, she found moments of happiness. Spencer would want that for her. Josslyn says, Trina is stronger than her, and Trina says, she’ll get there. She’ll figure out a way for herself. Dex would want that for her too.

Isaish says he’s vaccinated everyone within a five-mile radius and asks Jordan if he can help. She tells him to grab the box of donated coats, and they can sort through it. He brings the box over, and Jordan looks at Drew, making a face. (I laugh because she’s so good at this.) Isaiah says, thanks for inviting him, and she says, it’s her favorite part of being Deputy Mayor. He says, she’s in her element, and she says she’d rather this than network. She loves working with Laura, but it feels good to be here with the people she’s serving. Even if it’s a little thing, she feels like she’s doing something. He says, it’s not a little thing. He vaccinated a girl who she helped pick out a coat. It was purple. She says, purple was the girl’s favorite color, and he says, it’s her favorite coat. When he was giving her the shot, she kept talking about it. Jordan says, what about the shot? and he says, she didn’t flinch. She was braver than most adults. What about her? She says, not yet.

Nina says she’s helping Willow get the preliminaries out of the way while she’s doing some good works, and Ava tells them, nothing says merry Christmas like a divorce lawyer on retainer. Nina says she knows going against the Quartermaines is not an easy task. She was hoping Martin would know how to handle them. He says, that depends. What precipitated the breakup? Nina says, Willow had a brief, unfortunate relationship with Michael’s uncle. It’s not her fault. She was vulnerable and he took advantage. Martin says, nonetheless, Michael is the injured party, and Willow isn’t Wiley’s biological mother. Nina says, Willow legally adopted him, and Martin says, to be honest, Michael’s family has power, contacts, and very deep pockets. They won’t let the children go without a helluva fight.

Jason says, if Carly has to go after Drew, go, but leave Michael out of it. She says she’s not sure she can do that, but he says, she can do anything. She says, like him? and he says he thought he wanted to hurt Drew, but he regrets it. She says, so do as I say, not as I do? and he says he can’t undo it, but it’s not too late for her to stay out of it. She says she’s not the type of person who turns the other cheek. Drew and Willow hurt her son. Now it’s time for them to start paying for it.

Josslyn says she’s lucky she has Trina in her life. She doesn’t know what she’d do without Trina and her family. Trina says she’s glad to be here for Josslyn, and Josslyn says her too. Dex never got anything like this. He didn’t get so much as a phone call or a card from his family at Christmas. Trina says, he had her. He wasn’t alone. Josslyn says, that’s why it’s up to her to make sure he gets justice.

Cameron plays guitar and sings The First Noel. Lucky joins him on the chorus.

Sitting in a chair, Jordan tells Isaiah that she’s ready to get it over with. If she faints, promise he’ll catch her. He says he gave her the shot, and she says, he’s good.

Felicia says, it would be great to get the kids together during the holidays, but Willow says, it’s up in the air. Felicia says, let her know, and Willow says she’ll get back to her. Willow looks at Drew, and Felicia watches. Felicia says, with everything going on, Willow is busy. Don’t worry about not getting the kids together. Willow says she’s sure they can work everything out. Drew’s phone dings, and he sees Aurora’s stock is tanking.

Curtis says, that didn’t take long. It’s already falling. On the phone, Michael says, when the stock hits 15, start buying. Buy it all.

Nina says, the Quartermaines have considerable resources, but so does she. She’ll spend whatever it takes to make sure Willow gets custody of her children. Martin asks if Willow is ready for that kind of fight. It will get long, costly, and very ugly. Nina says, Michael probably has Diane building a case now, so Willow will be ready. She has to be.

Jason says, do not make Willow and Drew pay, but Carly says she is. Jason says, no. She’s a good mom and he knows she’ll put Michael’s needs above hers. She says she hates this for Michael, but she knows he’s right. She’ll let Michael take the lead, but if she gets the chance to make Drew pay, she’s going to take it for what he did. She walks out, and Jason sighs.

Tomorrow, Nina tells Willow that Drew isn’t someone she should rely on; Drew wonders why Curtis isn’t concerned that his company is in trouble; Tracy asks what business Martin could possibly have with Michael; and Michael tells Chase that Drew is going to pay for blowing up his marriage.

🧂 Rubbing Salt In the Wound…

Britani complained of crickets after making an announcement about her daughter at dinner. Bronwyn wondered if Britani was bothered because it was about her daughter or because attention wasn’t paid when she announced the announcement. Britani called her a bitch, and in Bronwyn’s interview, she said, if Lisa was called a bitch and she didn’t jump to defend her, she would hear about it until her death. When she pointed it out to Lisa, Lisa said it wasn’t her job to defend Bronwyn. Alrighty then.

On another note, I used to like Heather because I thought she was authentic – a rarity in reality – but now she’s just one more Housewife.

The whole scoop.

Bronwyn’s confession.

These women are evil. 1) This is a reality show. We’re supposed to be watching real life. 2) Cheating always comes out anyway. 3) If he didn’t want it ever coming out, he shouldn’t have done it. Shame on them for shaming Bronwyn for being real on a reality show.

👠 Fixing Her Crown…

Apparently, the Grand Dame doesn’t think she should be judged on the same scale as the rest of us peasants.

👀 Last Weekend’s Watch…

In addition to the too many series I’m juggling, I watched Subservience. Megan Fox was great, but it was an incredibly unoriginal story. Her robot could have been replaced by a nanny, an orphan, a stalker, and any other beautiful woman who works their way into the home of a married dude with a child and then tries to take over, wife or not.

🐶 Sweater Weather…

Normally, I don’t pay much attention to the Kardashians, but I’m always up for a dog in a holiday sweater.

What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

Sonny goes to All Saints and tells the pastor that he wants to make his Christmas donation in person. The pastor says, as always, Sonny’s generous donation is appreciated. God bless him and his family. Sonny says, one more thing. He wonders if he can ask a favor.

Martin meets Laura at the café and apologizes for being late. She’ll never guess what happened. She asks if he’s okay, but he says he’s not. Because her Police Commissioner has not only gone rogue, she’s out of control.

On the phone in her office, Anna says, someone saw something that should give them insight into Officer Heller’s stabbing. Keep her posted. Jason comes in and asks why she wanted to see him. She says, once again, she has to ask for his help.

Maxie goes to the stables and tells Cody that she has a gift delivery from his favorite nephew. It’s a holidaygram. Cody takes out a construction paper card decorated with candy canes, and says, it’s an invitation. She says, to his first Scorpio Christmas. and he says he appreciates it, but he can’t make it. She says, he’s ditching them because of Sasha.

In the nook, Sasha says, it’s her first Feast of the Seven Fishes, and Olivia says, if Sasha gets swamped, let her know. Tracy comes in and asks how one can get eggs wrong. These are scrambled and she specifically requested eggs benedict. It’s her stepdaughter’s favorite. Sasha says she’s sorry. It slipped her mind. Tracy says, that’s not acceptable, but Olivia says she’s sure Lulu doesn’t care. Tracy says she cares. She wanted Lulu’s favorite meal, and her request was completely ignored. Sasha says she didn’t ignore it, she forgot, but Tracy says, it’s her job to remember and serve what’s been requested. Sasha says, if Tracy wants eggs, go lay them herself, and walks out.

Brook is looking for Tracy and finds Lulu. Lulu says, no Tracy, just her, and Brook says, surprise.

Lucky brings coffee to Elizabeth’s house and says he remembered that she loves Perks holiday blend. He sees Ric is there, and Ric says he has coffee covered, but it’s good to see him.

Olivia says, Tracy Angelica Quartermaine. If she cost them a cook today of all days… Tracy says, Sasha was derelict in her duties, but Olivia says, it was a miscommunication. Tracy asks if she’s not allowed to give feedback, and Olivia says, she’s not allowed to give abuse. Tracy says, Sasha’s not the only cook. She’ll call the agency and get another one like she wanted to in the first place. Olivia says, during the holidays? It’s crazy hard enough. The kids don’t need more loss. The seven fishes in the other room can’t cook themselves, so make nice with Sasha or she’ll tell Monica, and Tracy and the fishes will be on the curb.

Brook says, Dante told her that Lulu was staying at her mom’s, and Lulu says she is. She was here going over old times with Tracy and Tracy insisted she stay. Brook says she’s glad they were able to catch up. She knows Rocco is happy. Dante too. Lulu says, it’s been great considering their history, and Brook says, it must be crazy to drop back in after all this time. Lulu says, nothing turned out how she expected. Sam and Dante… Brook says, Dante was adrift before they got together. They were a great couple. Lulu says she’s surprised it wasn’t Brook with Dante.

Martin says, Anna has a strange association with Jason, and Laura asks if he’s implying that they did a criminal act. He says he’s not implying. He has a first-hand account from an unimpeachable witness by the name of Martin Grey.

Anna says, as Jason knows, Dex Heller was stabbed and killed. She has to focus on finding out why he was targeted and track the killer. Jason says, she thinks Dex was targeted, and she says, apparently, and she owes the department and the citizens of Port Charles to find out who did it. He was isolated, so she doesn’t think it was a part of something bigger. He asks if she has any leads, but she says, that’s why she’s talking to him. She can’t give this her full attention if she’s chasing Valentin. She’d like him to take the lead in finding Charlotte.

Elizabeth says she told Ric about the situation at the hospital, and he insisted on helping, and Lucky says, of course (🍷). Ric says, it’s clear Elizabeth needs an attorney. She needs to be protected. The hospital’s investigation is going to get messy, and he has to make sure they don’t railroad Elizabeth. Elizabeth says, their legal team is ruthless, especially DeeDee Clark. Ric says, Portia and Terry will be supportive because they’re her colleagues and friends, but the hospital is going to look out for their best interests, and it’s his job to look out for hers. Lucky says, it started with Sam’s death, and Ric says, he doesn’t want the details to get muddled, so he’d like to complete his interview with Elizabeth alone. Lucky can come back later.

Sonny asks the pastor to choose families in need and he’ll cover their holiday meals, presents, trees, and decorations, the whole thing. The pastor thanks him, when Sasha comes in. The pastor asks if he can help her, but she says she just wants to light a candle. The pastor leaves, Sasha lights a candle and sits down. Sonny sits next to her and says he knows why she’s here. He knows what day it is.

Sonny says, today is the anniversary of Sasha’s son’s death, and Sasha says she can’t believe he remembers. He says, Liam was family. Brando was family, as is she. He spoke to the father about saying a mass in Brando and Liam’s memory. She thanks him for remembering.

Cody says he doesn’t want to carol around the Christmas tree with Cousin Sasha, and Maxie says, instead, he’s going to run away, which just prolongs the weirdness. Get over it. He says, and embrace the weirdness? and she says, he and Sasha grew up without families. Now they have one that loves them. Please just consider coming. Tracy comes in and asks if anyone has seen Sasha. Maxie says, hello to her too, and Cody says, Sasha doesn’t come around here much anymore. Tracy says, the cousin thing. Something is off with Sasha. She became irrational because Tracy asked her to remake some eggs. Cody says, asked or demanded? and Tracy says she asked politely. Maxie says, it’s not the eggs, and Tracy asks if she was there. How does she know? Maxie says, today is the anniversary of Sasha’s baby’s death.

Lulu tells Brook not to look surprised. She’s been gone for four years. Did she and Dante never… Brook says, no. And she’s now happily married. Lulu says she heard. Congrats. Chase is sweet and so handsome. Brook says, Lulu’s time is out of whack. Maybe she’s confusing 2010 with 2024. It was years ago that she tried to come between Dante and Lulu… Lulu says, for money, and Brook says, it was not her finest hour, and it blew up in her face. Lulu says she kind of enjoyed that, and Brook says she’s been through a lot and grown a lot. She has a family and husband. She has a life and so does Lulu. Lulu got her life back and should be grateful instead of stuck in the past.

Laura asks, what kind of criminal act? and Martin says, one where Jason forcibly accosted and escorted him to the coffee warehouse. She says, at gunpoint? but Martin says, Jason doesn’t need one. She asks how Anna fits in, and he says, she showed up and he thought it was to rescue him, but it turns out she had Jason round him up. Laura says, if Anna wanted to question him, why not bring him to the police station? and Martin says, because she couldn’t zip tie and threaten him. She wanted to know if he had a lead on Valentin. She asks if he gave her one, but he says he doesn’t know where Valentin is. If he did, doesn’t Laura think he’d have told her? She says she does. He’s here and okay. They didn’t make good on their threat. He asks if her point is, no harm, no foul, and she says, what they did was wrong, but his argument isn’t with them. It’s with her.

Jason tells Anna to focus on Dex and he’ll track Valentin. She asks, how’s Josslyn? and he says, confused. She wants answers. Anna says, when she first recruited Dex, Josslyn was against him joining the PCPD. She was afraid Sonny would kill him. Jason says, Anna doesn’t think… but she says, no. Josslyn told her that if Dex died in the line of duty, she didn’t want Anna handing her the flag at his funeral. She thinks Josslyn was aware of the worst case, but she’s become numb to all that. He says, she’s doing it again. She’s blaming herself. She says, at least she’s consistent, and he says he was with Josslyn and Josslyn didn’t blame her because she’s not to blame.

Elizabeth says she’d like Lucky to stay. She’d appreciate his help. Ric says, fine. He needs a statement leading up to Dex’s death. Elizabeth says she made a report to the hospital, but he says, if he doesn’t file it, they can’t go forward. Lucky says, he’s acting like Elizabeth has been charged. That won’t happen once he clears her. Ric says, he wants to make sure she doesn’t land in jail, and Lucky says, he wants to be Elizabeth’s hero. Ric says, it’s not cops and robbers. Two patients are dead. Can they focus on that?

Sasha says she thinks she quit her job, and Sonny asks, what happened? She says she was planning a meal when Tracy stormed in, railing over nothing, and she snapped. Sonny says, good for her. Tracy has a habit of going off and she doesn’t like it when someone stands up to her. Sasha says usually, she lets it slide, but today… She loves her job, and she’s used to the Quartermaine eccentricities. She loves to cook, but Tracy’s tantrum seemed pointless, especially today. It reminds her of how precious and fragile life is. She touches her belly and says, no matter how much you plan and are careful, nothing is promised. She wanted to give her baby the perfect life, but she couldn’t.

Maxie says, so Brando and Sasha made the unimaginable decision to take their baby off life support. Maybe Tracy could cut her some slack. She has more on her mind than breakfast. Tracy thanks her for the information and leaves, Maxie says, it makes her appreciate her family. Christmas Eve is for spending time with the people you love and who love you. Think about it. She leaves and Cody sighs.

Anna says she thought Dex was an exceptional cop. She could see his potential. Jason says he’s sure Dex appreciated the second chance post Sonny, and she says, he proved himself. He was at the top of his class, and he wanted it. Jason says, she made him an offer and he made the choice. She knows that and Josslyn does too. Don’t dishonor Dex’s choice by trying to make him a mistake. He’ll let her know if he finds out anything about Valentin and Charlotte. She thanks him and he leaves. She brushes her tears away and makes a call. She says she wants to know if there’s been any progress with the footage from Rice Plaza.

Laura says she’s been pressuring Anna to find Valentin. This goes back to before Lulu woke up. She thought Charlotte should be there when they were going to operate. Then Lulu did wake up and all she wanted was to see her daughter. So she went back and insisted Anna find Valentin. She thinks Anna is feeling the pressure from her. He says, so she kidnapped him. He guesses he should be grateful that Jason didn’t gag him and put him in the trunk of his car. She says, they went too far. She’ll definitely talk with Anna. She’s sorry. She disagrees with how they handled it. She wishes they understood how badly she wants to find her granddaughter. He says, what if someone else could help? and she says, who? He says, their brother.

Elizabeth says, Lucky was with her when they heard the alarms. Sam died from a lethal dose of digitalis. Lucky says, it likely happened with Dex, and Ric asks why they think that. Elizabeth says, Dex was perfectly healthy. He’d just had a physical for the PCPD. It was a stab wound and a routine surgery. He was in full recovery and there was no reason for him to go into cardiac arrest. Ric asks if anybody else ordered or administered medication to Dex, but Elizabeth says, she’s head nurse, and they have to go through her. She oversees the drug dispensary. Ric tells her that his expert legal advice is to steer clear of General Hospital.

Lulu says, her child is missing and that’s her focus now, and Brook says, Lulu has her sympathy. So go find her. Lulu says, Brook hasn’t changed. She’s self-absorbed and insensitive. Brook says, time stood still for Lulu, but they’ve all moved on. Ask Maxie. Dante comes in and asks if everything is okay, and Brook says, peachy. Lulu says, Brook was catching her up on how much things have changed around here. She needs to take a walk. Tell Tracy that she lost her appetite. She leaves, and Dante asks what that was about. Brook says she tried. She’s glad Lulu is awake and healthy, but she never liked Lulu and Lulu doesn’t like her. Lulu may be the heroine in his story, but she’s still the snarky, self-righteous Spencer she’s always been in hers.

Sonny says, Sasha was Liam’s mother and loved him. She did the best she could for him and in the end, made the best decision for him. Sasha says, Sonny helped her to see that, but he says, she would have gotten there because she loved Liam. She says she still does, and Sonny says, Liam is at peace, and she did that for him with Brando. He’s proud of her. She tears up and thanks him, and he says he hopes she gets the chance again to be a mother. Whoever gets her will be the luckiest kid in the world. He takes her hand.

Brook tells Dante that she showed restraint, and he says, she’s a good person. They’re two good people who don’t necessarily like each other. Brook says, they never will. Lulu can’t forgive her for trying to break them up. God knows how she’d act if she found out about that summer… He says, it’s ancient history. Lulu is having a hard time with reentry after a four-year absence and her daughter is missing. Maybe they should give her grace. Brook says she has sympathy for Lulu and asks if Dante really thinks she’s a good person. He says he does, and she says she’s really happy for him and Rocco.

Lulu goes to the stables and Cody says, hello. She says, oh my God. It’s you. He says, Lulu Spencer, as I live and breathe. Cody Bell at your service. She asks how he knows her name, and he says he’s an old friend of Dante’s. He didn’t recognize her, but it might have been the hoodie. She thanks him for the ride, and he asks what she was thinking getting in a car with a strange man. She says she wasn’t worried. She knew she could take him.

Elizabeth says, there’s no way she’s staying away from the hospital, but Lucky says, this is no time to be stubborn. She says, her staff needs her, and she can still keep an eye on her patients, and Ric says, if the autopsy comes back and they found digitalis in Dex’s system, that’s two improper dosages. It’s not a mistake; it’s a pattern of active harm. If it continues and another patient dies, the open culpability is on her. Does she understand? Elizabeth says, yes, and Ric says he hopes she considers what he said. He’s going to go ahead with this before things go any further. He leaves, and Lucky says, wow. He feels like he needs a shower.

Maxie tells Brook to steer clear of the kitchen. Tracy is in a tizzy. Brook says, that’s going around. Lulu was here one night, and she’s overstayed her welcome. She’s still a lot. Maxie says, so is Brook. So is she. They should start a club. Lulu knew her on the bad side of the Georgie situation. Georgie and Bailey Lou were a surprise. James was planned, but his delivery was dramatic… Did she say something wrong? Brook sits down.

Sonny says, Sasha knows where to find him, and tells Tracy, play nice. He leaves, and Tracy asks if she may join Sasha. Sasha says, if she must, and Tracy sits down. She says she owes Sasha an apology. She’s sorry about the way she spoke. It was rude and insensitive, and she wants Sasha to know she has Tracy’s deepest sympathy. Sasha thanks her and says she accepts the apology. But it doesn’t excuse Tracy’s behavior. They’ve been here before and she gets that she’s not Tracy’s favorite person. Tracy isn’t hers either, but she won’t be Tracy’s punching bag. Tracy needs to understand that if they’re going to move forward.

Lulu says, Cody and Dante are old friends? and Cody says he’s hurt Dante never mentioned him. She says, Dante has a big family and lots of friends. Maybe he’s not memorable. He says, they went to summer camp together, and she says, he went to Camp Cooper? He’s the one who taught Dante to ride a horse. He says, that’s generous. Dante still can’t stay on one. Dante walks in.

Spinelli gets into Jason’s car and Jason thanks Spinelli for meeting him. He’s taking the lead on finding Valentin. Is there any news? Spinelli says, unfortunately, no. Valentin was in Zurich, but after that, he’s evaded Spinelli’s track. Jason asks about the withdrawal from Valentin’s account, and Spinelli says, the account was closed shortly afterward. Jason says, he’s gone dark, and Spinelli says his fear is, now that Lulu’s awake, Valentin has been warned, and he’s gone deeper into hiding. Jason says, then they’ll have to step up finding him.

Martin says he’s reached out to Cyrus, but he’s gone radio silent. He wants to take Cyrus to task about surreptitiously trying to be Lulu’s medical decision maker. Laura wonders, why the secrecy? Did Martin know Cyrus had plans to transfer Lulu to a different facility in South Carolina? Lulu told her. Their brother has a lot to answer for. Martin wonders if there was a way for Cyrus to help out and make up for his past behavior, would he go for it? Like it or not, he’s a powerful man with powerful friends, which tends to come with an extensive reach. Maybe a former contact could lead them to where to find Valentin. He knows Laura wants little to do with Cyrus, so he doesn’t blame her if she doesn’t want his help, but if he can help track down Valentin, it’s worth a shot.

Sonny shows up at Anna’s office and says he’s saving her a trip. He assumes she wants to talk to him about Dex’s death.

Lulu says, it’s a good thing Dante showed up or she would have to call a Ride Share. They still have those, right? Cody says, they do and that reminds him, she owes him $20. She asks Dante to give Cody $20, and Cody says he could collect it at their next poker game. Dante says he can’t believe Cody was the one who found Lulu, and Cody says, it was one of those rare occasions he was in the right place at the right time.

Brook tells Maxie that she’s sorry. She’s been trying to get pregnant. She’s monitoring her cycles and doing everything possible, but nothing works. Maxie says, it takes time. She can’t stress about it. Brook says, it’s been months. For the last month, they’ve been very dedicated and she’s starting to worry something is wrong.

Lucky says, there are plenty of lawyers, but Elizabeth says, no one is more invested in taking care of her legally than Ric. She hopes there’s not a court battle. He says he can ensure her that he’ll find out who’s responsible, and she says, someone is accountable. He says, but not her. She didn’t do it. Something is going on at GH and they’re going to figure out what.

Anna asks if Sonny is going to risk not having an attorney present, but he says he doesn’t need Diane. He figures she thought he’d go after Dex. She says, he did threaten to, and he says, that’s up for interpretation. She says, when Dex joined the force, she didn’t think Sonny would kill a cop, and he asks if she still feels that way. She says, a knife in the back in the middle of Rice Plaza isn’t Sonny’s style, and he says he’s glad they’re on the same page. She says, he’s only free because Dex refused to press charges for assault. She’d say Sonny owes him a debt. Sonny says he wants whoever is responsible for Dex’s death found. Let him know if he can help. He leaves.

Laura tells Martin, it’s just a bridge too far. She thinks their best shot is through Anna. She trusts Anna’s motives a lot more than she does their brother’s.

Spinelli says, Lulu was his first friend in Port Charles and introduced him to Jason and Sam. All the years people have counted on him as The Jackal, the assassin of cyber space. This is when it matters. When he finds Charlotte, what is Jason going to do? Jason says he’ll get her and bring her home and make sure Valentin isn’t a problem for anyone again.

Tracy says, Sasha has come out the other side stronger and she respects her. Sasha says, Tracy respects her? Tracy is her employer, and she can accept constructive criticism and direction, but she won’t tolerate disrespect. Does Tracy understand? Are they good? Tracy says, they’re good. Be well. She leaves and a man comes in wearing a cap similar to the one Mike wore. He sits in the back, and from the front pew, Sasha says, thank You for getting me though this day. Please continue to bless Liam and Brando with Your love. Please ask them to watch over this baby. I appreciate all the people You’ve brought into my life, even if I’ve had to let them go. I trust You have a plan. Please keep me and my baby safe. The man looks up and we see that it’s Sidwell.

Tomorrow, Curtis says, it’s his one condition, take it or leave it; Ava says, Nina has to tell Willow before it’s too late; Josslyn tells Trina that she’s the reason Dex became a cop and she’s the reason he’s dead; and Carly says, Jason has had his shot at Drew. Let her have hers.

💎 Bright Like a Diamond…

I only half paid attention to this, but I saw enough to know Dorit has become a nasty piece of work. Maybe Sutton raises her voice (or yells as Dorit interprets it), but she’s right. Dorit is unhappy with her life and blaming the easiest target. At Kyle’s Denim & Diamonds party, Dorit through the c-word around like it was monopoly money. First at Sutton and then revisiting the time she called Camille Grammer a stupid c-word. Not a f***ing c-word, as Camille had claimed. Since Camille was actually at the party, it seemed to fuel Dorit’s c-word meter even more. Kyle said it felt odd not to have Mauricio as a party co-host, but I’m not sure why. He was always floating around high anyway. The best part was Sutton saying she was trying to get Dorit to listen, and Erika telling her that Dorit hadn’t listened in all these years, so why would it happen now? Truth!

What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

Elizabeth says, Lucky won’t believe it. Another patient with a clean bill of health died of a heart attack on her watch. It was out of nowhere and starting just like Sam. Lucky says, it’s not a coincidence, and asks if there are any updates on the investigation. She says, no, and she’s gone over everything a million times. He says, something is definitely wrong.

Jason comes into the hospital and sees Anna.

Josslyn takes Dex’s hand and says, this is real. He’s really gone.

At the Surf Lodge, Lulu says she’s trying to get a lead, and Dante suggests she take a breather. She asks how she can breathe when her daughter is missing, and he says, they will find her. She says, Valentin is as connected as they come. He could literally be anywhere. He says he knows she’s scared and overwhelmed, and she says, that’s why she broke into Windymere. She needs a clue. He says, she also needs a reality check – a big one.

Michael says he won’t leak the video to protect his children, Drew’s daughter, and Willow from her own humiliating mistake. But that also protects Drew too. He’s hiding behind them to protect his reputation. So much for Willow’s hero. Drew says, Michael knows nothing about him and Willow, and Michael suggests Drew tell him. Drew says he’ll fill Michael in, but Michael won’t like what he hears. Michael says he still wants to hear it, and Drew says, it’s not about hero worship or Willow feeling indebted to him. They developed legitimate feelings for one another. Michael asks if Willow said that, and Drew says, Michael knows Willow wouldn’t have slept with him if it wasn’t real. They fought it for months. Michael asks if Drew wants thanks for his restraint, and Drew says, they ignored what they felt until they couldn’t. He’s so sorry Michael was hurt. It was a horrible thing to do to Michael, never mind the family. Michael says, imagine if Drew understood the meaning of the word family. He never cared about anyone but himself. If he had, he would have stopped and thought twice about sleeping with his nephew’s wife and tearing the family apart.

Willow says, they’re going to Grandma Nina’s for a sleepover, when Carly comes in. She asks where they’re off too in such a hurry. They wouldn’t be trying to take Michael’s children away. Nina tells Wiley to say hi to Grandma Carly, and Wiley hugs her. Nina says, they’re on their way to a sleepover adventure. Carly can see how excited the kids are. Carly says, if they think she’s not going to stop what’s going on because the children are present, they’re superbly wrong.

Wiley asks if Carly wants to come on the sleepover, but she says she thinks they need to stay here. Willow says, this is not the time or place for an adult conversation. They can wait until tomorrow. Carly says, then the kids can go right back to bed, and when they wake up, daddy will be here. Willow says, the kids need to be with her, and Carly says, then she can stay here too, and Grandma Nina can find her way home. Nina says, she’s not going without her grandchildren. Get out of the way.

Drew says he never meant to hurt Michael or the family, and Michael says, but he did. He tore the family apart, but him staying silent will only delay the inevitable. It’s going to come out eventually. Drew says, the Quartermaines can handle it. They’ve all cheated. Tracy walks in with Ned and says, not her, and Drew says, just stay away. Tracy says she’s not going to address Drew’s disgusting use of his grief to justify sleeping with Michael’s wife, and Ned says, that’s a new low, even for Quartermaine standards. Michael says he can’t speak for everybody. They can do what they want. He leaves and Tracy says, where to begin…

Dante asks, what if he had to tell Rocco that he’d lost Lulu again because he shot her? Think about it. Lulu says, it would be horrible, and he says he gets it, but she has to be safe. If she gets hurt or something happens to her, it does her, Rocco, and Charlotte no good. She says, one thing that hasn’t changed is that she hates that he’s right this one, isolated time. He says he’ll need that in writing.

Elizabeth tells Lucky that Dex had a stab wound. Post-op, he was alert and seemed like himself, when the alarms went crazy. Lucky asks if it was another overdose of digitalis, and she says, the report’s not back yet, but… He says, it could be identical, and she says, it can’t be a coincidence. Portia asks if she can speak to Elizabeth for a moment in her office, and Lucky says he’d like to be there. Portia says, it’s a private hospital matter, and Elizabeth asks if it involves Dex, Sam, and her future at GH. Portia nods, and Elizabeth says she’d like Lucky to be there for support. Portia says, okay.

Anna says, she and Josslyn were together when Isaiah broke the news, and Jason asks how Josslyn is. Anna says, Josslyn’s in shock. So is she. It doesn’t seem possible. Dex was fine after surgery. She called Carly, but she’s not picking up. Jason says he’ll handle it and thanks Anna for calling. Anna says she knew he’d take care of her and leaves. Jason stands in the doorway, and Josslyn tells Dex that she’d do anything for him to wake up. Or for someone to wake her up and tell her to wake up from this nightmare. She cries and says, he’s really gone. She puts her head on his chest.

Tracy asks if Ned doesn’t have some old colleagues at a communications firm, and Ned says, in Newport. She says, they could leak it for him, and he says, it would go viral before Drew is sworn in. Tracy says she can see the headlines now: New York Congressman Caught with His Nephew’s Wife on Camera. Drew asks if they think he cares about any of this coming at him. Besides, Tracy wouldn’t do that. Tracy says, wouldn’t she? and Drew says, the Quartermaine name will get dragged through the mud. She says, it won’t be the first time, and Drew asks how Edward, Lila, and Alan would feel. Tracy says, Drew isn’t one of them. Go back to Cain. He’s hidden behind the family long enough. Drew asks what criteria he needs to be a Quartermaine. Wait. He knows. Will withholding heart medication while standing over his dying father do the trick?

Carly says, Wiley and Amelia can stay here. This is their home. Willow says, they’re her family, and Carly says, and Michael’s. Willow says, what happens next isn’t up to Carly. Her children come first. Carly says, Willow wasn’t thinking about that before her last sleepover, and Nina says, that’s enough. Grandma Carly is ruining the fun. Carly says she loves a party as much as anyone, but everyone is sleeping in their own bed. Michael comes in, and Carly says, look. Daddy’s home.

Josslyn says, Dex looks like a stranger and himself at the same time. She doesn’t know what happens when we die – nobody does – but she feels him here. She thinks he’s still here. She can feel him with her. So she’ll say what she would have said if she’d known it was the last time she was talking to him. Thank you for saving my life and for trusting me with your heart and changing the way I see the world and my place in it. Which is going to change again. Jason continues to listen, and she says, the future she saw had him and them in it. She thanks him for loving her. She hopes she said it often enough, but in case she wasn’t clear, she loves him with everything in her. She kisses him, and Jason shakes his head. She sees Jason and goes to him. He holds her as she cries and says he’s sorry.

Portia says, their first priority is the patients’ health and well-being, and Elizabeth says, it happened on her watch, and she knows there are protocols. Portia says, it was unexplained and will be added to Sam’s investigation. While that’s playing out, she thinks Elizabeth should take a step back from patient care. Elizabeth asks what she means, and Portia says, she has choices. There’s the administrative choice, paperwork and schedules, or she can take a take the personal leave route. No patient interaction is the criteria she’s working with. Lucky says, until Elizabeth is cleared, right? and Portia says, as soon as she gets the green light, Elizabeth will be back to being head nurse. It could take time. There are no cameras in the patients’ rooms, only in the hallway, and they have to go through all the footage. Lucky says, pinpointing it could be tough, and Elizabeth says, and time consuming. It would feel wrong being away from the hospital, so she prefers working here in any capacity. Portia says she was hoping Elizabeth would make that choice. She’ll sign the paperwork right away.

Lulu says she hopes Dante doesn’t think she’s prioritizing Charlotte over Rocco, but he says, that’s what she should be doing. She says, Dante is an incredible father, and Dante says, Charlotte is God knows where. Lulu says, with Valentin as her father, and Dante says he gets it. Lulu says, he’s probably pulling Charlotte deeper into hiding. She had a small window where she had the element of surprise. Now she feels it’s closed and she’s afraid she’ll never see Charlotte again.

Felicia and Mac join Anna at the hospital, and Mac says he can’t believe it. Anna says she convinced Dex to join the force. She persisted and he relented. Mac says, no one puts on the badge because someone forces them to, and Felicia says, Dex was proud to be a member of the PCPD. He told her a few hours ago. Anna says, it doesn’t seem real, and Felicia says, it’s unfair.

Jason brings Josslyn to the footbridge, and she asks, why are they here? He says he likes this spot. It’s a place to think or talk. She says she can’t wrap her head around this happening again, and he says, after Oscar. She says she’s done this already. She can’t do it again. With Oscar, at least she got to say goodbye. It was awful, but she got to say what she wanted. She never got a chance with Dex. The other day, they were decorating for Christmas, and she could tell he was uncomfortable. Christmas was not a happy time for him as a kid. She promised they would make new memories together, and she’s realizing that she’s never going to make another memory with him again. Jason hugs her and she cries some more.

Michael asks, what’s going on? and Carly says, they were trying to take the kids for a sleepover. Nina says, that’s what’s best right now, and Willow says, they need their mom. Michael says, they need their dad too. It’s best they stay here. Willow says she knows they have a lot to talk about, and they will, but tonight, she needs this and so do they.

Drew says, Alan was his father, and he has as much right to the Quartermaine name as anyone. Tracy says, none of this is his. He waltzed in here and set everything up like he owned it. Like it was home. Ned says, he’s done nothing but cause chaos. He just got elected and managed to screw that up. Tracy says, with a tale as old as time, and Drew says he doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Tracy says, he thinks he and Willow are unique and they’re love is special, but they’re as common as they come. From the doorway, Lulu says, stepmonster, you haven’t changed a bit, and she and Tracy hug.

At the Surf Lodge, Lucky asks how Elizabeth is doing, and she says she’ll miss taking care of the patients, but she’s still in the building. He says, at least they didn’t ban her, and she thanks him for being with her. It was comforting having a friend there. He says he’s her wingman, remember? and they clink glasses.

Michael tells the kids to have fun at Grandma Nina’s, and Wiley says, yay! Willow says, they’ll see him soon. She promises. Michael tells them to be good for mommy. He loves them both very much, no matter where they are. Willow says, they should get going, and Michael says, they’ll talk in the morning. They leave, and Carly says, that was a mistake.

Lulu says, Tracy can get back to whatever it is, but Tracy says she was done with whatever it is a long time ago, and tells Drew and Ned to get out. She wants to catch up with her stepdaughter. They leave, and Dante says he’ll see Lulu around. She thanks him for the ride, and Dante leaves. Lulu says, the catch-up is going to be one-sided. She’s been asleep for four years. Did Tracy miss her? Tracy says, she has no idea how much. She’s here. healthy, thriving, and as beautiful as ever. Lulu asks if Tracy struck a deal with Father Time, and Tracy asks if it worked. Lulu says, yeah… What? Tracy says she’s drinking it in. She’s been praying for this, and that’s not something she does often. Lulu says she’s flattered, and Tracy says, her prayer was answered. Lulu is home. Lulu says she’s ready to make up for lost time, and Tracy says she bets Lulu is. They hug.

Ned walks into the nook and says, good. Drew is still here. Drew says he lives here, and Ned says, for now. Drew says, they want to same thing. Annihilating him isn’t worth ruining the family name. Ned says, if he agrees that protecting Drew outweighs it, he’ll make sure his mother doesn’t go scorched earth. Drew says, Willow and the kids will be destroyed, and Ned says, they already are and whose fault is that?

Carly says, Michael just gave Willow a leg up in the custody trial. Did she tell him that she was leaving? He says, no, and she says, Willow wanted to sneak out and he didn’t stop her. He says he remembers what it was like when she took him and Morgan from dad. They were terrified and he refuses to do that to Wiley and Amelia. She says she’s sorry. She’s pushing because she loves him. He says he has no intention of losing the kids, and she says she’ll call Diane, so Diane can strategize. She sees how many missed calls and texts she has, and says, oh my God… She makes a call, and Michael asks, what’s going on? She says, Dex. He’s dead.

Josslyn tells Jason that it doesn’t make sense. Dex was healthy and just died of a heart attack. He just had surgery, and she’d questioned if he even needed it. She needs to know what went wrong or she’ll never let go. He says, it may bring her peace… and she says, but it won’t bring Dex back. He says he wishes it would.

Tracy says, Luke knew Lulu would make it back. He told everybody that she was going to wake up when she was good and ready. She didn’t like to be rushed. Lulu says she’s so sorry, and Tracy thanks her and says she is too. Lulu asks if Tracy was happy, and Tracy says, they both were. Lulu says, so they were still together, and Tracy says, and going strong. Who’d have thunk it? Lulu says, her, and Tracy says, Luke loved her so much. Lulu says, there were plenty of times he wasn’t around, and Tracy says, but the hard part is, there will be no next time. Lulu says, it hurts so much, she can barely breath, and Tracy says she knows the feeling. Lulu says, he passed down his grit, determination, and resilience to her, and Tracy says, and his sense of humor. Lulu says, he gave her so many things, but best of all, he gave her Tracy. Tracy says, Lulu’s dad binds them together. That’s what makes their relationship so special. Enough now. She wants to talk about Lulu. How is she handling everything? Lulu says, to be honest, it’s been really hard.

Michael asks if Ned has seen Sasha, but Ned says, not recently. Is he okay? Michael says he’s not great. Willow took the kids to Nina’s until they figure what comes next. Ned says he knows they say it takes two and they’re right, but make no mistake. Willow is not the enemy; Drew is. Michael says, that’s clear, and Ned says he’s dealing with other issues right now, but Michael has his full support. Anything he needs. Michael thanks him, and Ned says, Drew didn’t just betray Michael. He betrayed all of them and he’s going to live to regret it.

Drew knocks at the gatehouse, but there’s no answer. He looks at all the messages he’s sent to Willow on his phone that have gone unanswered and calls Willow. It rings and he says, pick up.

In Nina’s car, Willow sees that Drew is calling, but Nina says, don’t answer. Drew has made her life a living nightmare. He put his needs first. Willow ignores the call.

Tracy says she can’t imagine how overwhelmed Lulu is, and Lulu says, a lot has gone down in four years. Tracy suggests she focus on the present. She’s here, surrounded by everyone she loves, especially her son. Lulu says she didn’t believe it. Looking her in the face was this handsome young man barely with barely a glimmer of the little boy she remembers. She has a lot of catching up to do. Tracy asks if it was wonderful reconnecting, and Lulu says, it was everything she’d hoped for. He was so excited to fill her in and talks a mile a minute. She loves it. She wants that moment with Charlotte too. She needs to find Charlotte. Tracy says, Lulu has all her resources, but promise she won’t go rogue like her father and be smarter. Lulu says, he’s rolling in his grave. No one is smarter than Luke Spencer. Tracy asks if she promises, Lulu says she does, and they hug.

Josslyn says she knows the answers won’t bring back Dex, and Jason says, but she wants them anyway. She says, Dex saved her life, and he says, his too. She says, Dex was an amazing, selfless person. How could he get taken so soon? Carly arrives and hugs Josslyn. She says she’s so, so sorry.

Anna says, it doesn’t make sense, and Mac says, in broad daylight at a Christmas festival. It doesn’t add up. Anna says, take her though it one more time, and Felicia says, Dex was by the garbage pouring out the alcohol he’d confiscated. He was alone. Anna says, which would imply he was the intended target, and Mac says, after surgery, he was fine. Felicia says she was sitting with him watching the game. There was no indication that anything was wrong. Mac asks if it’s possible Dex was tracked to the hospital so the attacker could finish what they started, and Anna asks if anything sticks out. Felicia says, something is nagging her about a missing detail, but she can’t put her finger on it. Anna says she’s sure it will come to her.

Elizabeth says her heart breaks for Sam and Dex’s loved ones, and Lucky says, his too. She says, people go to the hospital to heal. It’s incredibly creepy and deliberate. He says, something is going on at GH. He hopes they figure it out before someone else gets hurt.

Tomorrow, Lulu tells Brook, let’s get something straight; Tracy asks what Sasha has to say for herself; Anna wants Jason to take the lead in finding Charlotte; and Ric tells Elizabeth, steer clear of General Hospital.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Cala Compte, Ibiza. Danni tells Daisy that she’s learned, even if you’re offended, shut the f*** up anyway, and in Danni’s interview, she says, Daisy keeps finding a way to have a go at her. Respectfully, f*** off. Captain Glenn and Daisy discuss the schedule for the evening, and Daisy says, it’s going to be a long night. She suggests Gary do a funny skit tonight to make the guests laugh, and he asks Keith to help out. In Keith’s interview, he says, he does have a creative side, but doesn’t usually exercise it. Daisy says, they’ll do it after dinner, and Cloyce asks if Davide wants to help him make pizza. The guests want it for after the club. In Davide’s interview, he says, asking an Italian if they want to make pizza is like asking if the sky is blue, and he tells Cloyce that in Italy they use sticky dough. Daisy wants Diana to work with only three hours sleep, but Diana makes a big deal out of it, and in Daisy’s interview, she says, Dianna’s reaction was over the top. She’s worked yachts where she’s had five hours sleep the whole season. She got into this position by doing what she was told with a smile on her face. Diana and Danni aren’t going to progress in any career if they don’t adjust their attitudes.

Daisy tells Gary that she loves sharing a cabin with him, except she thinks he’s lactose intolerant. In Gary’s interview, he says he feels like they have best friend chemistry. If you marry someone or get together with them, you want to be best friends. When they’re in the same room, he feels better. Danni says she doesn’t know what Studio 50 is. Apparently, she’s never heard of Studio 54, since Studio 50 is primary Ronnie’s birthday spin on it . Ronnie watches Danni decorate and says she doesn’t want any black. Gold and black means over the hill. She’s seen that at Walgreens. Guest Ren says, yet she wears black, and in Danni’s interview, she says, who hates black? This is pissing her off. Ronnie suggests gold and white, and says, rose gold would have nailed it. No. What would have nailed it was her putting that on her preference sheet.

In Captain Glenn’s interview, she says, sailing can be dangerous, so it’s good to have a patron saint. The St. Carmen festival is all about asking for protection on the high seas. He doesn’t know if he’s a true believer, but why tempt fate? After the jellyfish, the guests need all the protection they can get. Geez. It wasn’t the Kraken. The guests leave with Gary and Chase, and they go to where there are a million boats on the water. A yacht with the statue of St. Carmen goes by, and Ronnie yells at someone to move so she can get a picture. In Chase’s interview, he says he has no idea what’s going on, but Carmen is a popular lady who’s difficult to take a picture of. Another guest says, they’re all here to wish Ronnie a happy birthday. The guests come back and tell Daisy that it was so much fun. They must be drunk already because it looked hella boring.

Daisy is nervous about the timing, but Cloyce says he’s ready. In Cloyce’s interview, he says, last night, he and Daisy had communication issues. We flash back to that, and he says, the chief stew and chef are like a marriage. They have to adapt to each other’s differences and overcome them to accomplish a mission. Happy wife, happy life. Gary tells Chase that his mouth gets worse when he’s drinking, and he’s alienated people on the boat already. In the galley, Cloyce says, it’s going to be a long one, but Diane tells him, don’t say that. Guest Kate says, Studio 54, here we come, even though the sign clearly says, Studio 50. Why can no one get this right? In Daisy’s interview, she says, every meal with Cloyce is a bloody roller coaster. Please be a good meal. She sees that Keith has typed out the skit, and Gary practices a horse galloping sound. Cloyce makes a smoke bomb under the cloches for the main dish. In Keith’s interview, he says he’s trying to figure out how to salvage the charter. If they can make the guests laugh, they can turn this around.

After the entrée, Daisy announces the skit, and Keith says, this is a story about something that happened on this trip. Gary pretends to be Ronnie in a wig and sparkly tube top, and Keith says, she was mastering a flight board when a great beast emerged. Someone (Davide?) has an umbrella over his head and wears streamers, pretending to be a jellyfish, and Ronnie/Gary says, not today. Get back. It’s my bloody 50th and nothing is going to stop me from dancing all night. The jellyfish slinks away, and Ronnie/Gary says she’s ready for a night on the town with her group of absolute diamonds. Happy Birthday. The cake comes out and it’s elegant perfection. Ronnie says, they’ve outdone themselves, and in Keith’s interview, he says he thinks he’s a modern-day Shakespeare. The Dr. Suess of the sea. Diana whines again about the schedule, and Daisy says, never mind. She’ll do it. In Daisy’s interview, she says, Diana has a sense of entitlement. That’s why she has to do the job. She wants to show them that she can do what she’s asked them to do. That being said, she’s pissed.

In Diana’s interview, she says, this is bullsh*t. She was going to do the job. Daisy is just being a martyr and will act like it’s a huge favor. It’s Daisy’s mistake because of not enough planning. The guests leave for the club, and Cloyce gets the dough ready. At 5 am, the guests come back, and Daisy tells Cloyce that she can’t be bothered with this nightclub crap. Cloyce asks, how’s the vibe? and she says, quiet. He says, if he was a drunken hot mommy, he’d be happy. He makes pizza, along with some other Italian dishes, and the guests shove noodles, pizza, and nachos in their mouths. Daisy tells Cloyce that she got the impression the guests regretted the food, and the guests go to bed. In Keith’s interview, he says he loves Gary, but Gary needs to know when to dial back the fun. He thinks Daisy is more mature.

En route to Igy Marina. They dock and the guests pack. Diana tells Chase, after the season, she’s going to Portugal. There are no yachties there. In Chase’s interview, he says he thinks there’s more to Diana than meets the eye. He didn’t come in looking for a boatmance, but Diana is stunning, and he wants to see what happens. As they’re talking, Danni keeps coming in and asking Diana where various things are. In Diana’s interview, she says, what the f***? and Danni says she’s sorry for interrupting. In her interview, Diana says, Danni has been on the boat for a while. She knows what she’s doing and out of nowhere, she’s forgetting where things are.

The crew and guests say their goodbyes, and Ronnie says, it was marvelous, one hell of a trip. She says she appreciates them and gives Captain Glenn the envelope. As they leave, he blows the horn, and Gary says he thinks it went well. Diana hugs Chase, who says he had a long day yesterday. Daisy has a stew meeting, and Danni says, it was crazy, but they managed. Daisy says, they seemed stoked. Keep the energy. She always has a system, and they seemed annoyed when she tried it with breaks, asking why someone else got so many hours. It might not always make sense, but there’s thought behind it. It’s time for the tip meeting, and Captain Glenn says, unfortunately, the primary was attacked by a jellyfish. Way to go handling the sting. It was an absolutely perfect response. The deck team is jelling and working well. Gary welcomes Chase, and the captain says, the tip is $24K or 2296 euros each. They have champagne, and the crew gets dressed to go out. Daisy asks if Gary is going to be on his best behavior, and he says he’s not drinking. She says, new day, new you? and he says he thinks so. In Gary’s interview, he says, alcohol is not his friend. He drinks to escape or because he doesn’t want to kill the vibe. In Daisy’s interview, she says, if Gary is trying to grow and change, she’s behind it, but doesn’t see it lasting. In his interview, Gary says he’s not going to let alcohol control his life like it’s controlled the last 14 years, and in her interview, Daisy says she doesn’t think it’s going to last through dinner.

Chase thinks Davide looks like Sigfried and Roy and he’s right. In Diana’s interview, she says, Chase is hot and nice, but she dates people who end up treating her like sh*t. Her ex was a narcissist and when they broke up, she put up huge walls to protect herself. She’s still guarded, but Chase doesn’t seem like a f*** boy and she’s ready to be treated like a human. They take a couple of taxis to an absolutely gorgeous restaurant where they sit outside. Gary looks like he’s jonesing for a drink already, and Chase says he wants to go adequately crazy. Daisy says, Cloyce is living his best life, and Gary orders a mocktail. He says he’s going to have a chill night, and Daisy says she thinks it’s amazing. She’ll be his emotional supporter. Magnificent food porn comes out that I badly want to sample. Cloyce tells Daisy that he bets a lot of people are interested in a taste of Ireland, and everyone clinks glasses. On the boat, Captain Glenn exercises with elastic bands and does a couple of jumping jacks. He says, that’s his exercise for the year. I tried using those bands once and ended up slapping myself in the face with one.

At the restaurant, the crew drinks and drinks and drinks, and Gary looks pissed off. Chase leaves the table, and Daisy asks, what’s happening with Diana and Chase? Diana says, nothing, and Daisy says she thinks they’re sweet together. Would Diana make out with him? Diana says, probably yes, and Daisy asks how Gary feels sober. Is it enlightening? Gary says, they’re not that bad, and they all toast to vibes. In Gary’s interview, he says he hasn’t experienced this before. Everyone is sloppy and slurring their words. He’s probably worse, so he can only imagine. They go back to the boat, and Daisy says she feels she and Keith are kindred spirits. They all take shots in the jacuzzi, except for Gary who goes to bed. Davide asks what he’s doing, and Gary says he’s going to chill. Go. Have a good time. In his interview, Gary says, inside, he knows he’s lovable. He doesn’t need alcohol. He tells Davide, maybe it’s a lesson. He needs to learn how to say no and stop himself from continuing down that road. Davide says he understands, and Gary tells him not to do anything stupid.

Davide has to bodyshot Cloyce and says he wants more. Yuk. They play a few stupid games, then Daisy says, they have to recreate their favorite movie scene make out. Danni chooses The Notebook, and she and Chase make out. In Diana’s interview, she says, what the f***? Danni gets on top of Chase in the jacuzzi, and Chase suggests they leave. They get out of the hot tub and go downstairs. Cloyce says, she’s having her walk of shame before, and Diana says she hates Ibiza. Chase and Danni go into the master cabin, and Danni admits she’s been there once before with someone else, but they didn’t do anything. Chase says he appreciates her telling him. Daisy says she thought Diana and Chase were vibing, and in her interview, Diana says, when you’re on a boat, all your life is these people. When you connect with someone and now they connect with someone else, you’re alone. She tells Daisy that Danni is obsessed with Chase and goes to sit in the wheelhouse. She says, it’s frustrating. It’s like she doesn’t belong anywhere.

To all the single ladies. Guys come and go, but girlfriends are forever. Don’t do this to each other.

Next time, Gary asks Daisy if they have a relationship; Daisy thinks the guests will be high maintenance; and Glenn talks with the guests.

What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

The restaurant manager tells Ava that her card has been declined. Does she have another card she’d like to try? Ava says she doesn’t understand. These cards should definitely work. Ric says, what about his? and the manager says, the second card Ric gave him has also been declined. Ava says, what is going on? and the manager says, they have a $179 bill before gratuities and now it seems they have no way to pay.

Dante and two other officers kick in the door at Windymere and find Lulu in the living room. She raises her hands and says, don’t shoot, officer. She smiles at Dante.

At the Quartermaines’, everyone is cheering the game, when Tracy turns it off. She says, it’s giving her a headache, and they yell for her to turn it back on. She messes with the phone and brings up the video of Willow and Drew getting busy instead. Everyone is shocked, but Tracy laughs out loud and Ned chuckles. Drew says, turn it off, but Tracy says, oh no. Let it play.

Drew shuts off the TV, and Ned says, they’d all thought he’d sunk as low as possible when he kissed Willow. Little did they know he was having sex with her, his nephew’s wife, in his daughter’s nursery. His father would be so proud. Drew tells him, back off. It’s none of his business. Ned says, Drew made it his business when he did that in this house, and Olivia says, that’s enough. Willow looks sick, and Tracy tells Nina, her daughter sleeping with the man she’s gotten so close to must really sting. Josslyn wonders how Willow could do that to Michael, and Trina says she didn’t think Drew was the kind of guy to mess with a married woman. Gio says, wait until Uncle Sonny hears about this. Drew is a dead man.

The manager asks if there’s another card Ric would like to try, but Ric says he’s down to his library card. The manager says he’s sure someday they’ll all look back on this and laugh, but today is not that day. Ric says he already made a few purchases against the check Ava gave him and now he’s overdrawn. (Seriously? He has no money saved?) He asks if there’s another form of payment they can accept. Maybe they can do dishes. Ava says she doesn’t wash dishes at home. She’s certainly not going to do them here. The manager says, maybe it’s time for him to call the police and have them sort it out, but Ava says, that’s not going to be necessary. It’s not a simple case of dine and dash here, especially not in these shoes. The manager says, they’re quite nice, but they won’t cover the bill, and Ava says, there’s been a bit of an unexpected hiccup here. They’ve called some people. Please just give them a little bit more time. Lucas walks in and says he got here as soon as he could. What’s going on? The manager says, his friends have run up quite a large bill and have no way to pay for it. He’s hoping that’s what Lucas is here for. Lucas hands him a credit card, and the manager says, hopefully, this one will go through. He leaves, and Lucas says, please tell him this isn’t why Ava had him rush over here.

Dante tells the officers that they can holster their weapons and asks them to hit the lights. He knows who this is. She’s only a danger to herself, maybe. Lulu says, hilarious, and Dante says he’s got this. He’ll see them back at the station. And call Windymere’s alarm company. Tell them that everything is working fine. It’s a false alarm. One of the officers says, they’ll call when they get back to the boat, and Dante asks him to send the boat back for them. They leave, and Dante says, no broken glass anywhere. How did she get in? She says, he knows her dad taught her how to pick locks before he taught her how to ride a bike, and he asks what she’s doing here. She knows there’s nothing but bad memories in this place. She says, Valentin and Charlotte lived here. She’s praying they left something behind that will help her find them, because she’s going to find her daughter and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop her.

Josslyn, Gio, and Trina go into the foyer, and Josslyn says she doesn’t really want to leave, but Trina says she thinks it’s best that they let the people involved talk. Josslyn says, but he’s her brother, and Trina says, yes, and he might need her later. For now, she thinks it’s best if they stay out here. Gio says he agrees with Trina, and Josslyn sighs and says, fine.

Carly hugs Michael, and Tracy says, Drew is every bit as despicable as she thought he was. Drew tells her to get off her moral high horse. Everyone knows her precious Ned slept with his aunt while she was still married. Ned says he had no idea Monica was his aunt when he slept with her, and Drew asks if he had any idea he was married to Lois when he and Kathryn Bell tied the knot. Ned says, that was a long time ago and Lois forgave him, and Drew says, that was her mistake. Brook tells him to keep her mother’s name out of his mouth. She’s not here to defend herself, but she can get Lois on the phone if he’d like to hear how she feels. Chase says, it’s probably best if no one calls anyone right now, and Brook says, fine, but if Drew says one more word about her mom… Ned says, the golden boy, thinking he was better than everyone else. Oh how the mighty have fallen – right on top of his nephew’s wife. Drew says, if he has to tell Ned to back off one more time, it’s going to get ugly, but Tracy says she thinks they passed ugly right around the time they saw Willow on top of him. Willow goes over to Michael and says, everyone else was shocked. He’s the one who took that video, isn’t he?

Michael says, Willow is right. He recorded it, accidentally. He wanted to check on the new nanny they hired, so he bought a nanny cam. He got a notification on his phone about activity in the nursery and when he checked his phone, that’s what he saw. She says she was with Drew that one time, on the day that Sam died, which means he’s had that video for weeks. Why did he play it now in front of everyone? She starts to cry and asks, why did he do this? Carly says she’s sorry, but Willow is cheating on Michael and trying to make it seem like it’s his fault? After everything he’s done for her, how could she treat him like this? Michael says, let him handle this, but Carly says she’s not going to let Willow try to gaslight him into thinking it’s his fault. Willow says, that’s not what she’s doing. She knows she was wrong. She gave in to her feelings for Drew and she regrets it more than she can say. But Michael has known she and Drew slept together for weeks, and he didn’t say anything. Why? Michael says, because he wanted to wait until after the holidays. He wanted the kids to have one more Christmas together as a family.

Ava thanks Lucas for coming and says she’s so sorry she had to call him. It really was an emergency. Lucas says, an emergency is when someone has a heart attack, not when you can’t pay for dinner, and Ava says, that very judgmental man Lucas just gave his credit card to was about to call the police. She was just acquitted of killing a baby. She can’t have any more run-ins with the law. Lucas says, that makes sense, when the manager comes back. He gives Lucas back his card, thanks him, and says, his card went through without a hitch. He leaves, and Ava asks if Lucas would like to stay and help them finish this dinner he so generously paid for. Lucas says, normally, he hates being a third wheel, but he didn’t have a chance to eat when he was at the hospital, so he’s going to take her up on that. He pulls a chair over and asks the manager if he can get a menu and another bottle of champagne. The manager holds out his hand, and Lucas says, oh, getting his card out again. The manager says, of course (🍷), sir, and Lucas sits down.

Dante tells Lulu, no other people have lived here since Valentin and Charlotte. (Huh? Weren’t Nikolas and Ava the last ones who lived there?) He’s sure whatever was theirs is long gone by now. She says, he’s probably right, but she’s going to tear this house apart board by board if there’s even the slightest chance of something that can help her find her daughter. He says, maybe don’t tell the cop about the future crimes she’s planning on committing, and she says, he’s off the hook. She’s already searched Windymere’s poorly maintained and not so secret tunnels. She didn’t find anything. He says he gets it. They all have someone they love so much, they’re willing to do anything for them. Even coming back to a place that gives you nightmares. She says, people make all kinds of sacrifices for love. Some people care about someone so much, they’re willing to do anything for them, even give their own life if it comes down to it. He says, doesn’t he know it, and she says she’s so sorry. He must hate her so much.

Dante says he doesn’t hate Lulu. He never could. Why would she say something like that? She says, Lucky told her about Sam being her donor, and he says he wanted to tell her about that. It was just crazy. There was a lot going on and she woke up with no warning. She says, her waking up from a four-year coma required a warning? and he says, it would have been good to get a heads up. He could have prepared things like clothes, and food, and Rocco. She says she was so focused on how weird everything was for her. She’s sorry. She didn’t even think about how crazy it was for him and Rocco. He says, crazy doesn’t even scratch the surface. When he saw her, he wanted to ask her a lot of things. There were a lot of things he wanted to tell her. She says, he must have been overwhelmed. She was. But she appreciates him not dumping four years of life on her all at once. He says he wanted to tell her about Sam, and she says she understands why he didn’t. It would have been hard to handle learning that Sam died saving her while her head was spinning. But she knows that now and it’s obvious how much Sam loved him. He says, she did, but she didn’t help Lulu because of him and Rocco. That’s just who she was. She says, his expression changes when he talks about her. It’s also obvious how much he loved Sam. He says he still does. He just can’t believe she’s gone. But he wants her to know he’s happy she’s awake, and it’s just really challenging to balance that with losing Sam. She puts her hand on his arm and says she knows he and Rocco are grieving. And she understands what her waking up cost Sam… and him.

Josslyn says she already knows how this is going to play out. Michael is just going to forgive Willow for cheating on him. Trina says, it’s Michael’s life. He’s the only one who gets to choose how he handles this. Josslyn says she doesn’t want to see him get hurt again. She’s got to get out of here. She can’t look at Drew’s smug face anymore. She’s going to see Dex in the hospital. She leaves, and Gio says he thinks he’s had enough of this Quartermaine party time too. He’s going to go practice now. Trina says she’s probably going to work on her Art History project… On second thought, does he still have that all-access stadium pass he got when he was playing the National Anthem earlier? He says, yeah. Why?

Chase, Brook, and Sasha walk into the nook, Sasha carrying a plate of hors d’oeuvres. She puts it on the table and says, might as well dig in. Chase says, thanks, and Brook says, that was quite a party. She really thought Drew was different, but he’s really living up to the Quartermaine name. Chase asks what she means, and Brook says, fidelity isn’t exactly a top priority for the Quartermaines and they sleep with people they’re not married to. Not her. Obviously. She takes Chase’s arm and says, lucky for him, loyalty and fidelity mean everything to the Cerullos and she’s a Cerullo through and through. He says he’s glad, but he wasn’t worried in the least. Because he knows her and what kind of person she is and he has complete faith in her. They kiss and he says he has been thinking about something though. Maybe he and Sasha shouldn’t have played God with Michael and Willow’s lives all those years ago. Maybe Michael and Willow were never meant to be together.

Willow says she wanted the same thing, one more Christmas as a family. She was going to tell Michael after. Carly says, well, thank God Tracy spared her from having to tell Michael that she slept with his uncle, and Olivia says, okay. They can all stop judging each other. There are no saints in this room. Carly says, is she kidding? What if it were Dante whose life was blown apart? Olivia says she thinks Michael can speak for himself, and Carly says, Willow had an amazing life with Michael. He supported her career. He took care of her when she was sick. He gave her a family and she threw it away. Willow walks out, and Carly tells Drew, and you, you son of a bitch. She knew Jason had a reason for going after him. Jason knew he slept with Willow, didn’t he? He finally found someone who would put him first, even if it meant destroying a family. She hopes it was worth it. He says he’s not going to talk about this in front of the entire family, and Tracy laughs. She says, but he was willing to sleep with Willow in this house where anyone could have walked in on them. He involved them in his tawdriness, so he doesn’t get to keep anything private. Ned says, she’s right, and Tracy says, even his father Alan, with his terrible taste in women and string of sordid affairs, never would have stooped this low. He never would have slept with his nephew’s wife.

Carly goes upstairs, and Drew says, this wasn’t anything that he planned. A woman he once loved, the mother of his child, had just died (getting out my tiny violin) and he was a wreck. He was falling apart and Willow reached out to him. Ned says, I’ll say she did, and Drew says, shut your damn mouth. What happened between him and Willow is between them. It’s none of his damn business. Tracy says she thinks they already determined that it is, and Drew says, just stay out of his life. Please. She says, gladly. And by the way, she thinks he should move to DC now, because once Monica finds out that he slept with Michael’s wife, she’s going to kick him out. And they’re going to leak the video and show the whole world what a low life he is. Drew says, they can do whatever they want to him. Just don’t hurt Willow. Michael says, so now he’s worried about how his actions will affect Willow.

Sasha says she doesn’t see it that way. Michael and Willow wouldn’t have been together this long if there wasn’t something real between them. Chase says, that’s true, and Sasha says she really tries not to judge people and doesn’t want to think badly of Willow, but she’s really struggling to understand why she would cheat on Michael with Drew. Brook says she was shocked too, but he did save Willow’s life by bringing Leisl Obrecht back to Port Charles. It had to change the way she feels about him. Sasha says, that’s understandable, but Willow has this starry-eyed view of Drew. If Drew was the decent guy he wants everyone to think he is, he would have been flattered and left it at that. Brook says, Willow’s a big girl. She’s responsible for her actions too. Chase says, there’s plenty of blame to go around here. Sasha says, none of it is Michael’s, or her and Chase’s for something they did years ago.

Dante says he should have told Lulu about Sam a lot sooner. He’s sorry about that. He didn’t want it to affect her health negatively. She says, he has nothing to feel guilty about, and he says, not about Sam, but he messed up when she went into that coma. She asks, how? and he says he didn’t keep Rocco and Charlotte together. He just let Valentin take her. She says, that would have been next to impossible to get custody of Charlotte. Remember how hard they fought the first time? And she wouldn’t have been there to help. He says, yeah. Valentin is her father, and she wanted to be with him. She says, none of this is his fault. It’s Valentin’s. He manipulated Charlotte so she would never want to get to know the Spencer side of the family. He says his mom kept her close to the Spencers, and she says she’s glad Valentin at least allowed that to happen. But he’s still keeping the fact that she’s awake away from her daughter. She hates that, because of him, she can’t tell Charlotte that she loves her. It does feel like a piece of her is missing without Charlotte here. He says, they’re both going through a lot right now. He’s grieving Sam. He’s going to be doing that the rest of his life. But right now, she’s looking for Charlotte and that’s what’s important right now. So if she wants to tear Windymere apart top to bottom, he’s here to do that with her.

At the stadium, a reporter congratulates Tai on the PCU victory and says, but for most of the game, it looked like a stunning defeat. How did he pull off this win? Kai says, a lot of credit goes to their offensive line. Their defense is great too. They kept him in the game until he could figure out a way to get the ball into the endzone. The reporter says, he certainly did that. Congratulations again and good luck in the upcoming Bowl game. Kai thanks him, and the reporter says, that’s quarterback Kai, taking PCU to their first Bowl game ever. He and Kai shake hands, he thanks Kai and leaves with the camera crew. Kai sees Trina and asks if he should alert security that there’s an intruder in the tunnels. She says, very funny, but no. Her friend just played the National Anthem and gave her his pass. He says, the guy with the violin. He was amazing. Trina says, that’s sweet. She’ll tell him that Kai said that. Kai says, please do. He didn’t expect to see her today, especially not down here. She says she just came to congratulate him, and he says, on their Art History project? She says, no, but she did read what he sent her, and she thought it was amazing. She came to congratulate him on the game. He says he thought football wasn’t her thing, and she says, it wasn’t, but she watched it with some people who are totally into it and they were losing it over his performance. And that was just in someone’s living room, so she can’t imagine what it’s like when he’s playing in an actual stadium. He says, it’s very, very loud, and she says she bets. He had a lot of people rooting for him and he was amazing.

Josslyn comes out of the hospital elevator and doesn’t see anyone around. She hears beeping and Isaiah asking for vitals and saying, continue chest compressions. She goes to Dex’s room and listens at the door. She opens it and sees Isaiah using the defibrillator on Dex. Anna comes up behind Josslyn and says, come with me.

Kai says he was just doing his thing, and Trina says, maybe, but his thing is incredibly difficult. She’s been really hard on him and she’s sorry. He says, no. She’s been calling him out on things he needed to be called out on. He’s glad she held him to high standards. Because of her, he looked into his class schedule and discovered things he never would have known. So he’s grateful actually. She says, that’s nice considering she guilted him into staying up all night and working on their project. He was so exhausted, he almost got killed on the field today. She’s sorry. He says, that’s not why he didn’t play well for most of the game. Llanview’s defensive ends are some of the best in the league. They did a good job of keeping PCU’s offense from finding its rhythm. She says, it all sounds like gibberish to her, and he says he remembers. Football’s not her thing. She says, it isn’t, but she’d like to learn more about it today. Starting with everything he just said. Something about defensive enders? He says, defensive ends, and she says, sounds like a good place to start.

Anna tells Josslyn that she stopped by to check on Dex. When she got to his room, they were already working on him. Josslyn says, but she was just talking to him on the phone. Like, just now. They were talking and laughing and joking. Anna says, when she just talked to him, he was fine too, and Josslyn says, maybe it’s a reaction to one of his medications. Maybe he’s in anaphylactic shock. He could have a blood clot. They were using the defibrillator which has to do with the heart. Anna says, they’re just guessing right now. The best thing to do – she knows it’s hard – is to wait for his doctor to come out and tell them. Josslyn says, yeah, but seeing him like that… Anna suggests they just focus on him having the best of care. She’s going to call Josslyn’s mom. She starts to make the call, and Josslyn says, Dex is so young and healthy. She was told that the injury wasn’t even that serious, so he’s going to be fine. He’s recovered from a lot worse. So he’s going to be fine now. She knows he’s going to be fine. Anna puts down the phone and smooths Josslyn’s hair.

Ava thanks Lucas for rushing over. She’s going to pay him back as soon as she gets things straightened out with her bank. Lucas asks if she’s having problems with them, and she says she assumes so. She’s waiting for a call back from her business manager. Everything was fine yesterday. Now her credit cards don’t work, her debit cards don’t work, nothin’. Ric says his accounts are frozen too. Probably because the check Ava gave him for his legal services bounced. (I’m not getting how Ric has no money other than that check.) Lucas asks if Ava thinks her identity was stolen. That’s been happening a lot these days. Ava says, who on earth would want her identity right now? She’s so sorry she disrupted Lucas’s night. She’s sure he has better things to do than come here. He says he had plans, but she seemed desperate, and he had the feeling he wasn’t her first call. She says, he wasn’t, but he’s the only one who came.

Lulu and Dante walk into the living room, Dante carrying a box. She says she knew she’d find something to lead her to Charlotte, but he tells her not to get her hopes up. She says, that’s the Cassadine crest, and he says, it is, but this could belong to Nikolas or Victor or Spencer. Ava lived here. This could be hers. She says, that’s why they have to get it open, and she knows he’s curious about what’s in there too. He says he guesses he wouldn’t mind seeing, and she picks the lock. She says, got it, and opens the box. She takes out a sparkly top and smells it. She says, this was Charlotte’s, and holds it to her chest. She takes out a toy horse and says she got Charlotte this. She loves horses and she wanted to get Charlotte one that she could carry around and play with. She searched all over for the perfect gift because she wanted Charlotte to like her. She just left it here. He says he thinks she’s looking at it the wrong way. She kept it. It’s got to mean something.

Nina and Willow go into the gatehouse, and Nina says, Willow can stay at her place for the night, or maybe a few nights. Willow says she doesn’t think she can do this. She doesn’t want to take Wiley and Amelia away from Michael, not without telling him first. Nina says, listen to her. They have to play this smart, really smart. Michael is one of the richest, most powerful men in the state. He has connections on both sides of the law. He is a Quartermaine and a Spencer and a Corinthos. All those people are going to take his side and go against her. This is going to get ugly. Willow says, Michael would never do anything to hurt his children, and Nina says, he’d do everything to protect them. Willow says, from her? and Nina says, this is war. If Willow wants any chance of getting custody or even seeing her children ever again, she’ll go get them right now.

Michael says, the time to worry about Willow would have been before Drew slept with her, and Tracy says, Michael’s right. Where was Drew’s concern when he was playing footsie with Michael’s wife? Drew tells them that he’s just saying he doesn’t want Willow dragged into a scandal. He doesn’t want Scout to read about this online when she’s still grieving her mother. Olivia says she agrees with Drew, and Tracy asks if she’s out of her mind. Olivia says, that footage goes public, it only hurts innocent people, and Tracy says, that footage didn’t look innocent to her. Olivia says she’s talking about the kids. Amelia and Wiley, and as Drew just pointed out, Scout just lost her mother. She’s gone through more than any human should have to go through. If this gets out, she will certainly hear about it, and it’s the last thing that kid needs. Whatever blowback Drew deserves, the children do not deserve this, and Tracy knows she’s right. She and Tracy leave, and Drew tells Michael that he knows how badly this footage could play out. For him, absolutely, but for everyone. That’s out of his hands now. It’s up to Michael.

Kai teaches Trina some football stuff, and she says she wants to learn. That way, she’ll know what people are talking about the next time she watches a game. He says, so there’s going to be a next time? She says, yeah, sure, and he says, she’s just in time. They only have one more game and it’s going to be a big one. She says, bigger than this one? and he says, way bigger. The Bowl game. She says she’s not missing that. What’s a Bowl game? He says, just watch and she’ll see, and she says, okay. She kind of wanted to talk to him about something. She really thinks they should do the presentation together. So is the extension still a possibility?

Chase says, when Willow left him for Michael, he was so angry and jealous of him. He thought Michael got everything and he was left with nothing. Sasha says, breakups are hard, and he says, they are, but that wasn’t his point. He was wrong to think he’d never fall in love again. He didn’t realize how wrong – he takes Brook’s hand – until he met Brook. Willow is great, but she wasn’t right for him. He couldn’t see that until he found the person who was. Brook is perfect for him and she always will be. Brook says, right back at him.

Ava’s phone ding-a-lings and she says she’s still getting alerts. She doesn’t have any more credit cards to cancel… It seems she has had something stolen. Just not her identity. She hands Ric her phone and says, please tell her this isn’t saying what she thinks it’s saying. Lucas asks what it says, and she tells him that her entire divorce settlement from Nikolas, the Cassadines have taken it back.

Josslyn asks Anna, what’s taking so long? They should have heard by now. Isaiah comes out of Dex’s room, and Josslyn asks, how’s Dex? He says he’s sorry. They did everything they could. Dex didn’t make it. Josslyn says, what?

The monitor is on flatline, and it’s turned off. Elizabeth removes the tubes attached to Dex and says, this isn’t right. He’s the second person to die like this. It just doesn’t make any sense. Something very wrong is going on here.

Lulu says, they should get going, and Dante says he’d love to, but they’ve got to wait for the boat. She says, islands. They’re a real pain in the butt sometimes. He says, especially this one, and she says, it’s stuffy in here. Does he want to wait outside and get some fresh air? She picks up the box and he asks if she’s kidding him with that right now. She says, this box is coming with her, even though it technically doesn’t belong to her. She knows he’s a cop and doesn’t expect him to get involved. He says, which part? The trespassing, the destruction of personal property, or the theft of stolen goods? She says, all of it, but he says he already is. He takes the box from her and says, why doesn’t she hold the door, and he’ll carry her box of stolen stuff? She says, gladly, and they go outside.

Tracy says, Drew is taking advantage of the Quartermaine name and laughing at them while he’s doing it. Ned says, he spent a lot of time buttering up Monica, only to turn around and sleep with Willow, and Olivia says, what Drew did was despicable, but however they feel about him, if Michael wants to make things up with Willow, they have to support him… Right? Ned says, of course (🍷), and Tracy says, once a cheater, always a cheater, but if that’s what Michael wants, she can play nice with Willow. Olivia says, good. Because Michael is going to have to know they’re here for him, no matter what.

Michael says he won’t be the one who leaks the video, for all the reasons Drew mentioned. To protect his children, to protect Drew’s daughter, to protect Willow from her own humiliating mistake. And that protects Drew too. So Drew is using them to protect his own reputation. So much for Willow’s hero. Drew says, Michael knows nothing about him and Willow, and Michael says, yeah? Why doesn’t Drew tell him?

Nina says, first one to the car gets a treat, and tells Wiley not to trip. Willow says, sorry they had to wake them up. They’re going over to Grandma Nina’s for a little sleepover adventure. Wiley says, okay! and Nina says, let’s go, but before they get to the door, Carly walks in. She asks where they’re all going in such a hurry. They wouldn’t be trying to take Michael’s children away from him, would they?

On Monday, Portia tells someone to take a step back from patient care; Drew asks Michael, would Willow have cheated if it wasn’t real; and Willow says, what happens next isn’t up to Carly.

Yeah, Shep did a really weird toast at the Easter dinner too. Something about Jesus and Pontius Pilate, but it didn’t make a whole lot of sense and had nothing to do with Easter. It was just weird.

December 12, 2024 – A Big Surprise At the Q’s Christmas Party, Charm This, Yellow Look, More Than Extra & Wrapping

Standard

What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

Natalia and Sonny are having dinner at Café Cherie and Natalia says, they should do a little business. She wants to show him the latest numbers from Lois’s appearance on Home & Heart. She shows him her tablet, and he says, Lois is raking in the profits. He’s sure Natalia’s guidance helped. She says, it was a team effort, and Sonny asks what else she wants to talk about, when Ric and Ava walk in.

Alexis meets Kristina at Charlie’s, and Kristina tells her that Charlie’s is closed indefinitely until she figures out what she wants to do with it. Alexis asks what she means, and Kristina says, dad decided Charlie’s needed new ownership – mine. Alexis asks if her father is giving her Charlie’s, and Kristina says, yeah. She thinks it’s the perfect time for some reinvention.

Elizabeth visits Dex and asks if he’s feeling better. He says, more than he expected. He’s watching the PCU/Llanview game preview. If he was on duty, he’d miss the whole thing. She says she appreciates him finding the silver lining.

In the nook, Sasha looks at her tablet and says, prenatal vitamins for women. Who else would they be for? (Good point.) Carly comes in and says, the hors d’oeuvres look amazing. She sees Sasha’s tablet and asks, who’s pregnant? Sasha says, no one. She was looking for multivitamins and that popped up. Carly says, algorithms are so weird.

At the gatehouse, Nina thanks Willow for inviting her to the Christmas party, and Willow says, it’s important to spend time with family during the holidays. Nina agrees and asks why Willow seems anxious.

Tracy calls Laura and leaves a message that she’s calling again. She’d like to know when she can come and see Lulu. Call her. Ned says, she still hasn’t seen Lulu? and she says, Laura is being stingy. She’s going to go over there. Ned says, the Christmas party is important. Olivia’s been working day and night. Tracy says, while Drew is playing footsie with Michael’s wife. What could possibly go wrong?

Ric wonders if they should go somewhere else, but Ava tells him, it would be rude not to say hello. They go over to Sonny and Natalia’s table, and Ava tells Sonny that her time with Avery was wonderful. They missed each other so much, but she’s sure Avery told him. Sonny says he’s not going to discuss Avery with her, and Ric asks Natalia if dinner is payback for lying stand.

Alexis asks if Kristina is reinventing Charlie’s or herself, and Kristina says, maybe both. Why does Alexis seem unhappy about it? Alexis says, Kristina hasn’t had time to process everything that’s happened, but Kristina says she thought it would take her mind off things. What’s up? Alexis says, it’s about her sister, and Kristina says she knows Alexis wants her to apologize, but she’s not going to. Alexis says, her sister and TJ are separating, and Kristina asks if Alexis thinks it’s because of her.

Felicia asks Elizabeth if Dex is cleared for visitors, and Elizabeth says, he is, but he’s watching the game. Interrupt at her own risk. Felicia says, Elizabeth is here late. She hopes Elizabeth is making time for some holiday cheer.

Willow says she’s dreading the party, and Nina asks, why? Willow says, all the Quartermaines will be there, and Nina says, including Drew. She knows it’s hard, but whatever Willow decides, she’ll support her. Willow says she decided the kids deserve a happy Christmas with both parents and that’s exactly what she’s going to give them.

Olivia tells Ned to mind his Ps and Qs. Carly knows nothing about Drew and Willow. Ned says, she knows Jason attacked Drew. She’s bound to ask questions. Olivia says, they have to keep it under wraps.

Chase says, Brook looks amazing, and Tracy tells them to get a room. Brook says, they might have to sneak out early to do some extra work, and Chase says, she’s making him hot. Tracy wonders if she needs to send them to the stable to get hosed off. Why are they eager to have a child? This place has become a daycare center.

Carly asks where Willow is, and Michael says, she’s getting the kids settled with the babysitter. She and Nina will be here soon. Carly asks why Nina is coming, and he says, Willow invited her. She’s Nina’s daughter. Like it or not, she’s family. Carly says, Nina and Drew seem cozy, when Drew walks in. Carly says, their new congressman.

Sonny asks what Ric is talking about. He’s not in the mood. Ava says, Ric had the right idea. This place is too crowded. They should go someplace else to celebrate their victory. She tells Sonny and Natalia to enjoy their evening.

Kristina asks if Alexis believes Molly and TJ’s breakup is another casualty of Ava, but Alexis says, says she thinks it’s more complex than that. Kristina says she was right to fight for custody. The baby would have gone to a broken home. Alexis says, that’s an oversimplification. Molly and TJ broke up because their baby died, and they weren’t grieving the same way. Tell her that she understands what Molly is going through.

Trina comes into the Christmas party, and Josslyn is looking at her phone. She says she’s watching the game and it’s not going well. Trina asks if PCU is losing, and Josslyn says, no, but it’s too close. Kai has been sacked three times and they’re warming up his backup. Taking him out would be the worst thing for him. Trina says, Josslyn doesn’t think it’s because he was working on their project, but Josslyn says she thinks he’s just having an off day. Trina asks, is it that bad if they lose? and Josslyn says she’ll never hear the end of it from Dex. Chase and Brook come in, and Chase asks, what’s the score? Josslyn says, PCU is up one point. She asks if they can turn it on the TV, but Tracy says, absolutely not. Ned wonders if he needs to run interference, and Olivia says she votes yes.

Michael asks Drew if Scout is settled in, and Drew says, she’s with the other kids. Michael says he’s glad they have each other. He’s sure Drew is going to make Christmas extra special for her. Drew says, after having such a tough time, she deserves to be spoiled. Willow and Nina come in, and Willow goes over to Michael. She gives him a kiss, and Drew goes to get a drink.

Brook says, Tracy won’t even notice the TV. They’ll put it on mute. Ned says he wants to watch, but only gets a blue screen when he puts the TV on. He says, the cable is out, and Tracy says, it’s a Christmas miracle.

Nina tells Olivia that it’s a lovely party, and Olivia says, it would be if Tracy would let them turn on the game. Carly interrupts, and Nina leaves. Carly asks Olivia, what’s going on? Michael and Willow are acting weird. Drew had a fight with Jason. Michael is close to Jason, and Drew and Willow are friends. Does she think they’re fighting by proxy? Olivia says she’s sure they’ll work it out. She has to check on the food.

At the PC Grill, Ava says, this is more like it. He asks what they should drink to, and Ava says, the next chapter. He says he can’t wait to see what she does with it, and they clink glasses.

Natalia says she hopes Sonny doesn’t let his brother spoil his evening, and Sonny says he wouldn’t give Ric the satisfaction. He suggests they talk about her, and she asks what he wants to know. He says, what does she want to tell him? and she says, he knows she has two kids, Allison and her son. Sonny says, he’s still in Puerto Rico? and she says, yes. She misses him, but she’s not sure if he misses her. She’s close to her parents and siblings, but currently not with her children. She’s probably told him all he needs to know. He says he’s all ears. Whatever she wants to tell.

Kristina tells Alexis, of course (🍷), she understands. She never wanted any of them to experience this much pain, but the truth is, if Adela had lived, Molly and TJ still would have broken up. Molly is her sister, and she knows these things. Alexis says, Kristina has no idea what it would have been like if Molly and TJ had become parents. That doesn’t mean Kristina doesn’t have the right to love the baby and imagine what life would be like if they were in each other’s lives. The same way Molly has a right to imagine what it would have been like if she’d become a mother. Kristina says, but Molly isn’t acting as if she’s thinking about her feelings as a mother. If she was, she’d want Ava to pay as badly as Kristina does.

Felicia says she’s rooting for PCU because she went to school there, and Dex says, then he won’t tell her that he’s rooting for Llanview. She says, nobody’s perfect, and he says he heard she gave a detailed statement to the police. She says, force of habit. She’s been around cops a lot. She’s glad he’s okay. He says, it could have been a lot worse.

Michael asks if he can hide out in the nook, and Sasha asks, what’s going on? He says he’s trying not to punch Drew’s lights out, and she asks if he’s going to be okay. He says he doesn’t know. He can’t keep going on like this. After the holidays, he’s going to tell Willow everything. She asks if she doesn’t have a say in this, and he tells her that he’s going to say it was a one-night stand. He won’t say it’s her. He’s not going to pull her into this. He has to tell Willow that he was unfaithful, and he knows she was unfaithful with Drew. She says she knows the truth is supposed to fix things, but sometimes it does the opposite. He says, they’ll be on equal footing. They both cheated. She says, what about Drew? and he says, Drew pursued Willow and took advantage of her crush. Drew drove them apart, and it’s going to cost him dearly.

Ava says, it would have gone differently if not for Ric, and Ric says, maybe, maybe not. She says she’s grateful, and he says he wouldn’t have taken her case or defended her as strongly if he didn’t think she was innocent. He knows what it’s like to be judged by past actions and he didn’t want her going down for something she didn’t do. She says, he got one over on his brother, and he says, that’s just an added bonus.

Sonny says he doesn’t know Natalia’s son, and Natalia says, he’s an incredibly talented musician. It’s all he ever wanted to do. She had huge plans for him, but it didn’t work out. He decided he didn’t want her help. Sonny is so present in his kids’ lives. They confide in him and seek him out for his advice. She admires that and she’s jealous. She wishes she had that relationship with her kids. He says, she can still fix it. Don’t give up. There’s always time to make it right.

Alexis asks if she’s got to remind Kristina that her sister can’t conceive and how hard it’s been, but Kristina says, no. Alexis says, she’s not less of a mother because she can’t carry her own child, but Kristina says she disagrees. She doesn’t understand why Molly isn’t fighting for her daughter. Alexis says, they have to heal, and Kristina says she’s trying. She’d love to not be in pain and feel normal. Alexis says, she’s refusing to see that it’s not just her. She and Molly are both in agony. Molly made her promise not to get in the middle and she’s doing everything to keep that promise. Kristina needs her sister more than she realizes. Kristina says, she’s right. She needs her sister. Unfortunately, Molly isn’t the sister she needs. She needs Sam.

Felicia says she admires that Dex sees his situation in a positive way, and he asks if he can be honest. She says, of course (🍷), and he says, the last time he was hurt, it wasn’t this noble. She says, no judgement, and he says he justified working for Sonny, but the difference between what happened then and being injured while doing a job he’s proud of means everything. Felicia says, the work he does is important. She thinks about it when Mac goes to work. Dex is a good cop. She’s glad to see he’s feeling better. He says he’s excited to get out and go home.

Drew hands Willow a drink and says, she looks nice. She says, him too. Has Scout made her Christmas list? He says, she’s having a hard time thinking of anything she wants. The one thing she wants, he can’t give her. She says, it’s hard when you can’t give someone what they want.

Chase says he wishes Drew would stay away from Willow, but Brook says she knows Willow loves Michael. He thinks there’s something secretive going on, and she says, everyone has secrets. It doesn’t make you a bad person. It makes you human.

Gio comes in, and Josslyn says, PCU just scored a touchdown. Gio was just there performing the National Anthem with the band. He could have stayed and watched. What is he doing here? He says he couldn’t miss the party, and Olivia calls him an angel and kisses his cheek.

Carly asks Willow if she can borrow Drew, and they step away. He asks, what’s up? and she says she’s happy him and Jason called a truce, and he says, this is the right place for him and Scout right now. She asks if he knows how he’s going to handle the back and forth to DC, and he says, Port Charles will be his base, and he’ll commute. Scout has had enough upheaval. He should be the one making the sacrifices. She says she’s glad he’s putting Scout first. He’s a great dad. He and Willow share a glance.

Nina finds Drew and says, they need to talk. They go into the foyer, and she asks if he doesn’t he have a phone call he can take in his downtown office. He asks what she’s talking about, and she says, steer clear of Michael and Willow. He’s not helping them or their marriage. He says, they were talking about Scout. She loves Willow. If he can arrange some time for them to be together, Scout would be comforted. Nina says, it’s disgusting. He’s using his grieving daughter as an excuse to be around Willow. He says, if that’s what she thinks he’s doing, is she going to do something about it… He didn’t think so. He goes back to talk to Willow.

Tracy sees that everyone is watching the game on Josslyn’s phone. Tracy says she needs to pull Ned away for a moment.

Natalia says, Sonny and his brother aren’t close, and Sonny says, is it that obvious? She says, you don’t do what he did to Kristina if you’re family, and he says, they didn’t grow up together, so they didn’t have that bond. She says, that makes more sense, and he says, Ric always had a chip on his shoulder. He wanted Sonny’s acceptance and when he didn’t get it, he was determined to bring Sonny down. He wishes Ric would go away. You can’t be too careful with Ric. You’ve got to watch your back because he’s not above stabbing you in it.

Ava says, they’ve come out on top. Take that, City of Port Charles. Ric says, she doesn’t strike him as someone who cares what people think, and she says she doesn’t, and she doesn’t think he does either. He says he doesn’t give a damn about what other people think, and she says, the list is quite short. Avery, of course (🍷), Trina, of course (🍷), her nephew Lucas, and Nina. What they think matters. Everybody else can kick rocks. He says, including present company? and she says she appreciates his company. He says, how much? and she says, maybe he should find out.

Alexis says she knows Kristina misses her sister. They all do. What Sam would say if she was here is that Kristina’s anger at Ava is justified, but what she was saying to her sister, what she said at the courthouse, was wrong. Molly didn’t deserve that, and the sooner Kristina realizes and apologizes, is when she’s going to heal. Sam would tell her that this reinvention isn’t going to help her skip the process of doing that. Punishing her sister is hurting herself and all of them more than she knows.

Tracy tells Ned that they should push Drew out now. There’s nobody Monica loves more that Michael and Jason, and Drew is in open combat with both of them. It would be better if they evict him. Ned tells her that she said she didn’t want to burden Monica, but she says, the situation is a thousand times worse. They have Drew under their thumb, but when he goes to DC, they don’t know how much power he’ll actually have. They need to act now. They have to. They hear cheering from the other room and Ned runs in.

Josslyn calls Dex and asks if he’s going to admit defeat, but he insists it’s Bobcat season. Still, he wishes he was there. Josslyn says she’ll bring him some popovers, and he says he’ll see her after the Bobcats win. She says, he wishes.

Michael sees Willow and Drew talking, and Ned complains about the cable being out. Michael says he can stream the game from his phone to the TV. He turns it on, and Kai is doing an interview. Tracy turns it off and says, just because she’s allowing them to watch doesn’t mean she wants to listen to those men yammer on. They’ll watch with the sound off and anybody who doesn’t like it can leave.

Kristina says she doesn’t want any of them in pain, but she can’t do what Alexis is asking. Alexis says, she made her choice. Kristina knows where to find her and Molly. Kristina says she knows Alexis doesn’t agree, but that’s okay. She doesn’t have to, but don’t give up on her. She can’t lose Alexis to Ava too. Alexis says, that will never happen. She’s Kristina’s mother and will love her always. They hug, and she says, no matter what.

Sonny tells Natalia, Ric is persistent. The longer he’s in Port Charles, the worse it will be. He’s going to want revenge, then all bets are off. She says, so he’s totally unpredictable, but Sonny says, he’s too predictable. He took Ava’s case and now he’s representing her in their custody fight. He’s a good lawyer, but he’s not going to make it easy and he’s not going to make it quick. She says she believes Sonny will still win in the end. He’s a great dad and has Avery’s best intentions at heart. He says Ava is going to fight dirty, and with the money they have, it could go on forever. They’ll be arguing until they’re both bankrupt.

Ric says, Ava is now a free woman. What’s next? She says, the first thing on her list is getting a new house, when he waiter comes with the check. She insists on paying, and the waiter takes her credit card. Ric says he can’t wait to see what’s next, and she says, stick around. He says, sounds promising, and she asks how he feels about early Christmas gifts. He says, it depends. Wrapped or unwrapped? She says, one wrapped in a great big bow, and fingers the bow on her collar. The waiter comes back and says, Ava’s credit card was declined. She tells him to run it again, but he says he ran it several times. It’s not going through. Ric’s phone dings and he tells her that her check bounced for insufficient funds. The waiter says, her card will need to be destroyed. (That’s a new one on me. I would think the card issuer would have to flag it for that.)

Felicia gives Elizabeth some paperwork and says she thinks the patient is ready to be discharged. Elizabeth says she’s glad, since his family wanted him home for the holidays. An alarm goes off, and Elizabeth looks at the computer.

Everyone is watching the game, and Michael asks who they think will win. Sasha asks if anyone wants another drink, and Tracy says she needs alcohol. There are cheers, and Chase says, one last shot for the win. Brook says, they’re tied, and Ned says he’s putting the sound on. This is the first time in PCU history. Tracy turns it off and when everyone protests, she puts it back on, but instead of the game, it’s Drew and Willow about to get busy.  😯

Tomorrow, Trina tells Kai, it’s a good place to start; Carly says, Drew finally found someone who would put him first; and Willow says, Michael took the video, didn’t he?

👒 Patricia’s Charming Easter…

I can already see why JT left the show abruptly. Everyone probably hated him by day 3. On a playdate with Craig and Shep to play virtual golf, not only did he talk smack about Austen, he tried to convince the guys that Madison’s husband was suspicious about him and Madison being together on a trip. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! That’s a lot funnier than him passing out canes to everyone. He also decided that Madison and Austen had coordinated their polka dot outfits – her dress, his pants (no, just no) – when they went to the Carolina Cup party.

Patricia was having a lavish Easter dinner, decorated with antique bunnies and lots of candy. There was also the traditional bunny with a trail of black jellybeans behind it, or as Whitney said, the turd pellets. Oddly enough, we have a similar tradition at Christmas here, except it’s a moose that dispenses jellybeans. I’ll leave it to you to guess from where. It always ends up in one of our stockings. Since Whitney had briefly dated new girl Molly, Patricia seated them next to each other.

The dessert was a cupcake, and kudos to Austen for showing us a whole new way to eat one, breaking off the bottom half and putting it on top of the icing, making it a cupcake sandwich. I’m definitely doing that the next time I have a cupcake. Whitney, being the debonaire Southern gent he is, said the cupcake was the last thing Molly needed. In Patricia’s interview, she said she was getting a kitty since she’d never have grandchildren.

At the end, it said, In Loving Memory of Michael Kelcourse, with a photo of him serving a martini in better days.

He’s not wrong.

This was sad.

What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

Curtis asks Jordan the status of the esplanade, and she says, they have to wait until after the new year to get approval. He tells her to hold off. He has a better location and will be able to make it happen when he’s officially CEO of Aurora.

Outside on the phone, Martin leaves a message for Cyrus to call him back. He’s been hearing some disturbing things about him. A hand clamps down on Martin’s shoulder.

Nina tells Maxie that Lulu is rushing to return to the land of the living. Lulu had a meltdown in her office, and insisted she knew where Valentin is. Maxie says, it makes sense to Lulu, and Nina says, time stood still for Lulu, but not for her. She has no idea where Valentin is. Maxie says she’ll talk to Lulu if she can find her. Lulu is a mother desperate to find her daughter. Nina says she understands, but she hopes Lulu understands she’s not the enemy.

Carly says, Jack knows how to get in touch with Valentin, and Lulu says, good. Start dialing. Jack says, her cousin understates his reach, but Lulu says, don’t give her WSB doubletalk and make the damn call. She hasn’t seen her daughter in four years. Jack makes the call. (He’s probably scared. If she’s this feisty immediately upon coming out of a coma, he can’t imagine what she’s like when she’s in top shape.)

Anna tells Dex that he and Loren did everything by the book, but she needs his account. He says, things are blurry because of the anesthesia, but some drunk frat guys got into it over the game. He and Officer Jackson deescalated the situation and he was pouring out the alcohol he confiscated. The next thing he knew, he felt a sharp pain in his back, and he was on the ground. She tells him that Chase said he didn’t see his assailant. Did he hear anything? Dex says, the Christmas fair. Does she think he was targeted because he’s a cop? Josslyn runs in and asks if he’s okay. He says, he’s fine. He was talking to the Commissioner. Josslyn apologizes, but Anna says she’s got everything she needs. She tells Dex, get better, and leaves. Dex asks how Josslyn is doing, and she tells him, don’t tease his way out of this. She’s glad he’s okay. She kisses him.

Maxie says, four years feels like a lot, and Nina says she woke up to a changed world too. She searched for her child and has a lot of sympathy for Lulu, but she can’t help find Charlotte. Maybe Maxie can help Lulu understand that. Maxie says she’ll do her best, and goes to the door, running into Drew who’s coming in. He asks if Nina has a minute, and Maxie lingers in the doorway. Nina thanks her, and she leaves. Drew says he’ll make it quick. He’s making Michael CEO of Aurora. Nina asks, what happened to Curtis? and Drew says, Curtis is out. Michael is in. (Ugh.)

Jordan asks if Drew is keeping Curtis on as CEO. Did he make Drew see the light? Curtis says he talked to Drew and Drew lied to his face. She says she’s sorry. She thought he had a change of heart. Curtis says he gave Drew every opportunity, but he wouldn’t commit, and Jordan asks if Curtis is teaming up with Michael. Curtis says he is, but not the way Michael thinks.

Martin sees that it’s Jason and asks if this is necessary. He does know it’s technically kidnapping and Martin’s sister the mayor may be upset… Okay. Why is he here? Jason says he’ll ask the questions.

Lulu asks why Valentin isn’t picking up, and Jack says, he doesn’t always pick up and there’s no voicemail. She says, Jack could have called anyone, and he says, she has to trust him. She tells him to track it, but he says, it’s a burner phone. She says, he works for the WSB, so she doesn’t believe he can’t, and he says he understands she’s upset, but he had nothing to do with Valentin taking off. She asks why he has the number, and he says, Valentin contacted him. They worked together a long time no and he has no idea where Valentin is. Lulu says she’s finding her daughter if she has to burn the WSB to the ground, and takes the phone. Jack says, the family resemblance is unmistakable. Good evening. He leaves, and Carly tells Lulu, that was the wrong move. Lulu says, don’t tell her that Carly thinks he’s telling the truth, but Carly says she actually does.

Jordan asks if he’s doing it his way, and Curtis says he’s protecting himself and Aurora. He’s not sure Michael cares about Aurora’s success. If she can hold off on the esplanade, there will be a tremendous opportunity for Aurora and the city. She asks if Michael is on board, and he says, yes. She says she’ll slow walk it until she hears from him. She needs to do some last-minute shopping, and Curtis says he appreciates that he knows who he can count on. She says, always, when Portia comes in. She asks if she’s interrupting.

Josslyn says, it’s crazy that Dex got stabbed, and he says, it’s better than being shot and treated with stolen medical equipment. She agrees that it’s better that he’s in a hospital, and he says, not that he didn’t love the twin bed dorm room experience. She asks, how is he? Who did this to him? There’s a knock at the door, and Isaiah says, it’s good to see him awake. He’s here to discuss Dex’s surgery. Dex says, it’s okay that Josslyn is here. She’s his girlfriend. Isaiah says, her boyfriend was born under a lucky star. He’s going to be just fine.

Carly says she’s dealt with Jack a lot and he’s come through every time, and Lulu asks if she thinks he’s honest. Carly says, hell no. He works for the WSB. She thinks he’s being honest about not knowing where Valentin is and the burner phone being the only way to contact him. Lulu says she needs to get the number, and Carly tells her not to go after the WSB singlehandedly. Lulu says, it’s hard to wrap her head around. She went to sleep and woke up to a world she barely recognized. Her dad is gone, and Spencer. She has new relatives, Cyrus being one of them. Her daughter is missing, and she can come to terms with everything except that. Carly says she wants to help. That’s why she brought Lulu to Jack. But he won’t help if she goes after the WSB or calls him a liar. Nina can’t help. She’s gotten and lost a whole new husband since then. Lulu asks, who? and Carly asks if she’d believe Sonny. Lulu says, Carly is holding back bad news, and Carly says she’s sorry to tell Lulu, but when Lulu was in a coma, her mom passed away.

In Jack’s office, Colette says she still thinks they could have utilized the bug to their advantage. They could have given disinformation that led them away from Valentin. Jack wonders what they’d do then, since they desperately want to find him.

Anna asks if there’s been any progress, but Spinelli says, not yet, but he wants to find Charlotte. She says she appreciates his help. She tells him to keep his distance, and goes into the room where Martin is. She asks, what’s going on? and Martin says, Jason just kidnapped him. Arrest him. Anna asks Jason why Martin’s not restrained.

Isaiah says he expects Dex to make a full recovery in a few weeks, and Dex thanks him for everything. Isaiah says he’s happy to deliver good news. He’ll be checking in until Dex is released. Enjoy their evening. He leaves, and Dex says he has a clean bill of health. Why isn’t Josslyn smiling? She says, he still hasn’t told her why it happened, and he says, he was pouring out booze that he’d confiscated when he was stabbed. They snuck up behind him and that’s all he knows. She asks if he hasn’t once thought that Sonny might be behind it.

Curtis tells Portia that he and Jordan were just finishing up. There are exciting possibilities for Aurora’s future. Jordan says she looks forward to it, when her phone dings. She says, Dex is out of surgery and awake. She should head over there. She leaves, and Curtis thanks Portia for coming by. She says she was happy to do it. What does he want to talk about? He says he’s about to take Aurora from Drew and wants her to know why.

Drew tells Nina that Curtis will still be the head of Wellness and he’s going to give Curtis a big bump in salary to show his appreciation. Nina asks if something happened for him to lose faith in Curtis, but he says, it’s a business decision. Michael is the better choice. Nina wonders if he’s trying to assuage his guilt. Curtis is his friend and she’s sure he’d make an excellent CEO. He says, Michael has already proven he can run the company. He’s surprised she’s not on board. She asks why she would be, and he says, for Willow. Doesn’t she want her daughter to be happy?

Lulu tells Carly that she’s so sorry. When did it happen? Carly says, almost a year ago, New Year’s Eve. She’s bracing for this one. Lulu says she can’t imagine a world without Aunt Bobbie, and Carly says she’s sorry to give Lulu another shock. Lulu says, Carly’s mom was a rock for all of them, and Carly says, if she was here, Bobbie would be telling Lulu the same thing she is. Hold tight. They’re going to find Charlotte. She’s a Spencer and Spencers don’t give up on each other. Lulu says, never, when Maxie walks in and says, here she is. Was she ever going to call? She and Lulu hug.

Colette says she thought Jack wanted Valentin to stay away, but he says, circumstances have changed. Lulu desperately wants to find her daughter. Anna, Jason, and Carly are helping her, and now that they found out he can contact Valentin, the proverbial cat is out of the bag. She asks if he wants them to find Charlotte, and he says, out there, Valentin is a liability to the WSB and to him. She asks if they can rely on outsiders, and he says, they have resources and are highly motivated. There’s a good chance they’ll succeed. She says, there are no guarantees, but he says, she knows there are no guarantees in this business. She says she’s concerned he’s not taking the matter as seriously as he should. He should have taken a step back and allowed Valentin to take the fall for Pikeman. He should never have let Valentin get away in the first place.

Jason tells Anna that he thought he would do it the easy way. He didn’t want to make a mess. Anna says, they don’t have time for the easy way, and Martin asks if she’s working with Jason. Why are they threatening him? Anna says, they want to find Valentin, and one way or another, Martin is going to help them.

Portia says, Curtis and Drew are close. How could he go behind Curtis’s back and make Michael CEO? She’s so sorry. He says he’ll deal with that later, but right now he wants to protect himself and the future of Aurora. She says, it’s Drew’s company and Curtis can walk, but Curtis says he founded the Wellness Center, and he’s invested in the company. She asks if he thinks he can trust Michael. Doesn’t he think Michael wants to be CEO? Curtis says he doesn’t know if he trusts Michael entirely, but he can work with him. She asks when he’s going to tell Michael, and he says, in a few days. She asks if that’s why Jordan was here. Is she helping with his plan?

Jordan asks for Dex’s room at the hospital, and Isaiah says he was just in with Dex. She asks how Dex is, and he says, Dex is going to be just fine. She says, that’s great news. Did he do the surgery? He says he did. He can take her to Dex’s room, but he should give her a heads up. His girlfriend is with him. She says she’ll give them a moment and they can talk about him. Since he performed the surgery, she takes it that he decided to sign the contract. He thanks her for her help, and she says she’s happy to be of service. She guesses he’ll be sticking around, and he says he’s now in official residence of her lovely city. She says, on behalf of the mayor’s office, welcome to Port Charles.

Josslyn says, Dex was with Anna when they raided Sonny’s house and there was a gun missing. Maybe Sonny is ticked off about that. He says, if Sonny wanted to get him, it would have been sooner and successful, but she says, maybe he’s biding his time. He says, Sonny gave him his word that he wouldn’t come after him, and Sonny’s word means a lot to him. He doesn’t think it’s Sonny. She says she thought when he left Sonny’s organization and was on the right side of the law, she wouldn’t have to worry about him getting hurt and he’d be safe. (Clearly, she doesn’t know what a cop does.)

Lulu says she was going to call, and Maxie says, they have a lot to catch up on. Lulu says she has a lot to ask. She saw James. He’s adorable and so grown up, like the little man of the house. Maxie says, she should see Georgie. She’s an actual teenager and reminds her of them. Lulu says she and Carly were talking about how much has happened in four years, and Maxie says she didn’t mean to interrupt. Lulu says, Carly is going to help her find Charlotte. She said Nina married Sonny. Fill her in. Maxie says she will, but speaking of Nina, she said Lulu stormed into her office and asked if she knew where Charlotte was. Nina would tell her if she knew. No matter what, they’re going to find her. Lulu says she’s sorry it took her so long to see Maxie. They have so much to catch up on.

Jack says he’s not the one who let Valentin get away, but Colette says, he didn’t stop Valentin either. He says he owed a debt, and it’s paid in full. Unfortunately, Valentin drawing attention to himself is on him. She says, if he hadn’t taken his daughter… He says, Valentin is no stranger to life on the run, but to Charlotte, it’s a lifestyle challenge. She asks if he’s up to something, and he says he may have a way to improve their chances. How long does she think a teenager can go without a phone?

Martin says he doesn’t know where Valetin is, and Anna says, he’s Valentin’s lawyer. He says, they haven’t spoken in months, and she asks how he was paid. He says he’s on retainer and Valentin set it up. He’s the last person who can get in touch with Valentin. Anna says, he knew all of Valentin’s dealings not long ago. She finds it hard to believe he could lose track. He says, that’s the way it is. He can’t give them what he doesn’t have. Charlotte is his grandniece. Doesn’t she think If he knew where they were, they’d have heard by now? Anna says, maybe Valentin made it worth his while, but Martin says, he didn’t. He and Valentin aren’t in touch, and he’d like to get out. He gets up, but Jason stands in front of him, and he sits back down. Anna says, he doesn’t realize the level of desperation. They’re going to do what it takes to find Charlotte. She tells Jason to jog Martin’s memory.

Nina says, Drew framing his betrayal with benefitting Willow is a new low for him, and he says, it will lower the temperature and might save Willow’s marriage. She says she thinks he believes that and he’s betting the company on it. He says he thought they could have an adult conversation where they acknowledge the mistakes they’ve made. He crossed the line, but he wants to put his indiscretion behind him and avoid splitting up the family. She says, he thinks he can buy Michael off, and he says, Michael agreed and knows he’s making amends. Nina says, the only person losing is Curtis, and Drew says he’s just not handing Curtis the keys to the entire company. She says, Curtis believes he’s going to be the next CEO. He’s worked his tail off for months. He says, that’s where she comes in, but she says, oh no. She doesn’t think so. He says, oh yes. She needs to soften the blow.

Curtis says, Jordan is working on McConkey’s esplanade, and he told her what’s going on, and Portia says, before he told her? He says he wanted all the facts before he said anything. It’s hard accepting that Drew would pull this on him, but today confirmed it. He wanted to let her know what’s going on. There will be many late nights, and he needs support. She says, he has it. No matter what. He says he’s not holding anything back and needs people he can trust by his side if he’s going to pull this off. And there’s no one he trusts more than her. They hug.

Lulu says she’s touched that Maxie named Bailey Lou after her and she was meant to be with Spinelli. Thank God she dumped Peter. Maxie says, there’s more to tell her about that, but it’s always been Spinelli. She realized how much he loves her, got out of her own way, and realized how much she loves him too. Lulu says she knows the feeling of true love. One day it’s, that’s the guy I love, and everything snaps in place. She felt that with Dante. Maxie says, felt, past tense, and Lulu says, when she saw him, her heart flipped, but he loved Sam and she’s gone. She can see he’s grieving. Sam’s whole family is. Maxie says, the funeral was heartbreaking, and Lulu says she’s sorry Sam is gone. She owes Sam her life and never got to say thank you. Maxie says, Sam was proud and happy to be able to help. She never hesitated. Lulu says she feels blessed and honored to have a forever connection with Sam. She doesn’t know how Dante can look at her. She knows he’s happy she’s alive, but the woman he loved is gone. Sam would be here if Sam hadn’t been her donor. Maxie says, Lulu’s not to blame, and Lulu says, maybe not, but it was a mess when she went under and it’s a mess now. Some things never change.

Martin says, wait. He doesn’t know anything, and he can prove it. Grab his phone. It’s in his coat pocket. All of his contacts with Valentin are stored in there, all the bank accounts. Anna asks why he didn’t tell them that, and he says he shouldn’t have to. He’s not the one working with an assassin. Does she have any idea how far over the line she is? Anna says, if he doesn’t like her methods, she doesn’t care. Her priority is to find Charlotte and bring her back to her mother, no matter what. She hopes there’s a number on his phone that leads them to Valentin. He says, and if there isn’t, what is she going to do to him?

Jack says, Charlotte is going to go online, especially when she finds out her mother is awake. She’ll post, like, text, any activity that can lead them to her. Colette says, Valentin isn’t going to let her or they’re both at risk, but he says, Valentin has more than a few blind spots. Charlotte loves horses. Find the names of the people who are caring for them. She also speaks French, so she may use Colette’s language. Have IT comb the accounts to see if they can come up with a location. Colette says she sees the wisdom in allowing Anna and Jason to continue, but why Carly? Anna is a pro and Jason is a recruit, but Carly is a civilian. What does she have to offer? He says, she’ll be useful, and she asks if he’s sure that’s not what he’s telling himself. Doting fathers aren’t the only ones with a blind spot.

Carly comes in where Spinelli is working and says she has news. Brennan found the bug and confronted her. He admitted he’d been in touch with Valentin on a burner phone. Jason says, that’s helpful. She did good. Now it’s time to go. She asks if Spinelli is trying to find Charlotte. She’s not going anywhere. Lulu is her cousin. Charlotte is family. Jason says, Carly should be with her family and not here.

Dex tells Josslyn, most cops go their whole career without being injured in the line of duty. He got it out of the way. From here on in, he’s golden. She says she’s going to keep believing that, and he says he has a few weeks off and she’s finished with finals. Maybe on a beach somewhere, her and him. She says she’s mentally packing her bags, and they kiss. In the doorway, Jordan says she doesn’t really need to talk to Dex now, and Isaiah closes the door. In the hallway, Jordan says, as Deputy Mayor, she wants to make sure her constituents feel safe at the Christmas fair. She’s heading over to the plaza to show her support and prove that it’s still safe… and do some last-minute shopping. He asks if she’d care for some company, and she says she’d love that.

Drew says, Nina can help smooth the way with Curtis, so he can keep Michael happy. She asks if making him CEO will make him happy, and he says, happy Michael, happy Willow. She says, and he can sweep his betrayal under the rug, and he says he wants to move on. She says, he wants her to help stab Curtis in the back, and he asks, what’s more important? Curtis’s happiness or Willow’s happiness?

Portia thanks Curtis for bringing her up to speed on what’s going on. She’ll support him with whatever he needs. He says he’s counting on her and Jordan, and she says, what about Michael? He says, Michael could be useful, but from now on, he’s running the show.

Anna tells Martin to pray something is on his phone to help them track Charlotte down, and he says, or else what? She’s going to hurt him? That won’t change anything. It won’t help find Charlotte and won’t change the fact Anna shot her. Anna says, it’s a fact she faces every day. She owes Charlotte and will do what it takes to bring her back to her mother, to her family, and hopefully a decent life.

Jack tells Colette, advice given and received. He’ll take it from here and handle the personnel. They have one chance to intercept Valentin.  Once Lulu finds Charlotte, it’s over, and Valentin will be in the wind and impossible to track.

Maxie tells Lulu, you know what else hasn’t changed? Them. They can do anything if they do it together. She’ll tell Lulu a secret. Spinelli is also working on finding Charlotte, and she knows he’ll find her. Lulu is getting her daughter back.

Carly asks why Jason is dismissing her. She’s the one with the connection to Jack. He listens to her. Jason says, Jack wants her to think he does because he has an agenda, and she says, he delivers when it counts. He saved Jason’s life. Jason says he owes Jack, but he’s not a good guy. Stay away from him. Carly says she trusts Jason’s instincts, but this time, she trusts hers more. Spinelli says he found an account that was accessed 32 hours ago in a Swiss bank. Jason asks if it couldn’t be accessed from anywhere, and Spinelli says, it could, but it wasn’t. Valentin is in Zurich.

Tomorrow, Tracy says, it’s a Christmas miracle; Carly asks Olivia, what’s going on with Michael and Willow; Nina says, whatever Willow decides, she’ll support her; Michael tells Sasha, that is going to cost him dearly.

🧂 My Lost Shaker Of Salt…

So, no recaps available yet, but this show is getting painful to watch with the same arguments circling the drain and everybody talking yelling at once. Of course, most of it happened at a dinner party in a restaurant. They also tend to argue by just repeating what the other one said, with a minor tweak. For example, Meredith claiming Angie said something-or-other, Angie saying, is that what I said? and Meredith returning with, is that what you said? I swear this went on for ten minutes. The best part of that whole scene was waiter Carlos interrupting to take their drink orders. Like these women need drinks. Once again, I wondered how the waiter felt, but from the look on his face, I’d say, amused.

Bronwyn also got severely bitten by a dog at a dog park. Apparently, the owner was in his car making a call. Unreal. Britani told her, Chanel heals all wounds. I don’t know if that’s true, but I wouldn’t mind finding out.

There was also another chapter to Mary finding out her son was a drug addict. Mary is bringing it as a Housewife this season. She’s been open and focused, as well as funny, a far cry from seasons past.

👠 Maybe It’s Karma…

While it could have been from the food, my guess is that it’s from all the fillers she’s pumped into her face, Botox injections, having fillers removed, more fillers put in, and so on. Something’s got to give at some point.

December 10, 2024 – Dex Is Stabbed In Rice Plaza, Soap Suds, Double the Wives, Weekend Watching, Two Seasons & Permanent

Standard

What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

Josslyn comes into the apartment and sees Trina on her laptop. She asks if Trina is still working on her art history presentation. She was up all night… Earth to Trina. Trina says, Josslyn isn’t going to believe what just happened.

Felicia, Georgie, and James look for a tree in Rice Plaza. James and Georgie argue, but Felicia promises they’ll find a tree that can all agree on, and that Maxie will be happy with. Georgie says, Maxie is happy that Lulu is back, and they’ll be spending their first Christmas with Aunt Sasha. James says, and Uncle Cody, when Dex comes by. He introduces them to his partner Loren Jackson. Cyrus’s voice is heard saying, good people of Port Charles, remember the less fortunate during the season of giving. Anything they have to spare will be appreciated.

Carly finds Jack in her office, and he says he came to tell her that she’s disappointed him. He puts the bug on her desk.

Maxie comes into the nook, where Sasha is making a gingerbread house. She asks if Maxie wants to help. It’s going to be the main decoration at the Quartermaine Christmas party. Maxie says she can’t. She’s here to see Lulu and she can’t wait.

Lulu walks into Nina’s office and says she needs to know where her daughter is right now.

Curtis listens to Michael’s recording, when Drew comes into his office. Curtis says, just the man he wants to see. They need to talk. Drew asks, what’s on his mind? and Curtis says, Drew’s first day in DC. Drew says, the swearing in is in January, and Curtis says, they need to finalize his placement as Aurora’s new CEO today, but Drew says he thinks he owes Curtis an explanation. There’s been a change of plans.

Sasha asks why Maxie thinks Lulu is here, and Maxie says she thought Lulu would want to be close to Rocco. Sasha says, Lulu is staying with her mom, and Maxie says she can’t believe they haven’t seen each other yet. Sasha says, Lulu has been super busy (as one is after a four-year coma), and Maxie says, maybe she should give Lulu space. She can’t believe she missed Lulu coming to her house the day they found out Sasha was pregnant. How is she feeling about everything?

At the hospital, Brad gives Lucas a report he thought Lucas would want right away. He knows Lucas has been having a rough time and must be looking forward to getting away to the symposium in Miami. Lucas says he can’t wait, and Brad says him neither. Lucas says, Brad is going too? and Brad says he guesses he’ll see Lucas there.

Josslyn says, Kai bailing sucks, but Trina says, he didn’t. He sent his half of the presentation in the middle of the night. She’s shocked because not only did he do it, it’s great. His writing is really good, and he went above and beyond. Not just quick facts, but references and in-depth analysis. Josslyn asks if she isn’t happy, and Trina says she is, but she’s also annoyed. His work might be better than hers.

Felicia asks if they agree on the tree, and James says, it’s the best one. Georgie says she thinks mom will like it, when a bunch of loud college guys come into the plaza. They argue about the upcoming game between PCU and Llanview, and Georgie asks if they’re drunk. Felicia tells her to go with James to get some cocoa. She’ll meet them later. The guys start pushing each other.

Nina says she was so happy to hear Lulu woke up. It’s good to see her. Lulu says, save it. The only thing she wants to hear is where Charlotte and Valentin are. Nina says she has no idea, but Lulu says she doesn’t believe Nina. She doesn’t have amnesia, and she remembers Nina loves to lie. Nina says, then Lulu should remember how much she loves Charlotte. She’s not lying. Lulu says, don’t tell her that Nina has no way to contact them. She loves Valentin. Nina says, Lulu missed a hell of a lot. It might come as a shock, but the world didn’t just stop and wait for her to wake up.

Jack tells Carly that they do regular sweeps for bugs. Imagine his surprise when they found one in his office, planted by someone who’d recently been there, a person he trusted. Carly says she didn’t want to do it, and he says, yet she did. She says, now she knows she can’t trust him. She heard him call Valentin. He says he did it as a favor to her. If she remembers, he’s done a few. She says, he knows where Valentin is. He lied. He says, that’s half true.

Sasha says, physically, she’s fine, and Maxie asks if she’s made a decision about her plans. Sasha says she’s given it a lot of thought, and she’s going to keep the baby. Maxie says, that’s amazing news. She knows Sasha wanted to be a mom and she’ll make incredible mother. What made her decide? Sasha says she asked herself what she’d do if she wasn’t afraid, and the decision became crystal clear. She wants a baby and she’s choosing to be fearless. Maxie says, now she’s going to pry. Sasha said the dad was a one-night stand. Is there any way to track him down? Sasha flashes back to getting busy with Michael, when Willow comes in.

Curtis asks, what changed? and Drew says, Sam dying made him Scout’s soul guardian and with the chaos of the holidays, he hasn’t had a second to plan. Curtis says he’ll handle everything, and Drew says he appreciates that, but it’s something they can do together later. They can figure out a time closer to when he’s leaving. Curtis doesn’t have to worry. He’s going to make sure Curtis is taken care of. Curtis says he trusts Drew. He knows Drew is a man of his word. He’s sure all the blood, sweat, and tears he put into Aurora will pay off.

Lulu asks, what happened to Nina and Valentin? but Nina asks why she should tell Lulu. She came barging in, called Nina a liar, and had the nerve to demand Nina fill her in on the last four years. They’re not girlfriends. Call Maxie. Lulu says, Nina is still the same selfish Nina. She doesn’t care about anyone but herself. Madison tells Nina that Erica Kane is on the phone, and Lulu grabs the phone out of Nina’s hand. She says, Miss Reeves will call back, and hangs up. Nina says, that was an important call. How dare she? Lulu says, Nina spewed lies about her to get custody of Charlotte with Valentin. If she loves Charlotte, prove it. Tell her where Charlotte is.

Jack tells Carly that he lied when he said he had no way to reach Valentin, but it’s a burner phone. He has no idea where Valentin is. She says, Jason and Anna think he’s not being honest about Valentin, and he says, so that’s where she got the idea to plant the bomb. She says she insisted they were wrong. She knows there’s good in him. He says, she still did it, and she says, to prove them wrong. Now she realizes she was wrong. Why should she believe a damn thing he says? He tells her that she listened to the call. If he was hiding anything, she’d have heard that too. She still doesn’t believe what she heard with her own ears.

The guys at the plaza start fist fighting, and Dex tells them to get out before he arrests them for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Pick up their cups too, or he’ll cite them for littering. They leave, and Dex stops one of them, looking in his backpack. He takes out a couple bottles of booze, and says, he won’t need these. Don’t let him see them again. Loren says she thinks he scared them, and he says he’s going to pour these out. He leaves as Felicia watches.

Dex pours out the liquor and someone watches him. They come closer, taking out a knife. They plunge the knife in his back, and we see it’s covered with blood. Dex reaches behind him and his hand comes back with blood on it. He keels over.

Loren asks Felicia if Dex came back, but Felicia says, no.

Loren finds Dex, and he says, someone stabbed him. She radios for help, saying, officer down.

Trina tells Josslyn that she used every plagiarism tracker and not a single red flag. Josslyn says she told Trina at the beginning. Trina thought he was a slacker, but he’s an elite athlete. She thinks he knows discipline and hard work. Very few college athletes perform at that level. He would have passed the class, but he put in the work. He’s a smart, genuine, good guy, and wanted to earn his grade and give Trina the grade she deserves.

Felicia asks, what happened? and Loren says, Dex has been stabbed.

Nina tells Lulu that she and Valentin parted ways a long time ago. They’re not close, but she’s still close to Charlotte and hopes she and Lulu are reunited. She can’t help Lulu, but Lulu should find and talk to Anna. Valentin was dating her when he left. Lulu says she doesn’t care what Nina tells her. She knows where Valentin is. There’s a knock at the door and Madison comes in with security guy Nick. Nina says, it’s fine. Lulu was just leaving. Lulu says, the hell she was, and Nina says, Madison will make sure she finds her way out. Lulu says she’s not going anywhere. Call her cousin Carly, their boss.

Carly says she has no idea what Valentin said and it’s making her reconsider her and Jack being friends. Jack says, she’s a civilian. He’s a spy. She knew the day they met that he couldn’t be fully transparent. He didn’t think she was the kind of person to play him, so she planted a bug. She could have breached national security. He should have her arrested. She says, he wouldn’t do that, and he says, she’s disappointed him. He never thought he had to protect himself from her. She says, if he reached out to Valentin for her, there’s a possibility she’s wrong, and if she is, she’s sorry. Her phone rings, and she says she’ll be right there. She tells Jack, stay here. They’ll finish the conversation when she gets back. He says he might, or he might not. He doesn’t take orders from her.

Curtis says he’s glad he and Drew talked. He knows Drew has his back. Michael comes in and says, good. They’re both here. He has a document for Curtis to sign about a last-minute addendum to the Japan deal. Drew says he’ll have his assistant set up a meeting on the 22nd. They’ll talk soon. He leaves, and Michael asks, what happened? Curtis says, Drew planned to blindside him about Michael being the new CEO. That actually could be the day Drew realizes he should have never tried to double-cross him.

Dex is in an examining room, and Chase asks if he’s sure he’s okay. Dex says, yeah. He and Loren were patrolling and there were a lot of drunk kids. They broke it up and let them go. He was pouring out the alcohol he’d confiscated and felt a pain in his back. Next thing he knew, he was on the ground. Chase asks if he saw who did it, but Dex says, they snuck up behind him. Chase tells him to take it easy. He’s going to the scene to help with witness statements. Dex will be okay.

On the phone, Felicia talks to Mac about Dex and tells Loren that Dex will be okay. She wonders, who would take this beautiful day and ruin it with violence?

Lucas says he thought the symposium was for doctors, and Brad says, he’s the first lab technician to go. Dr. Robinson insisted. He wanted to make sure Lucas knew so there would be no awkward surprises. Lucas says, no heads up necessary. They’re colleagues. Brad says, Little Havana is a few miles away. Remember the trip to Cuba they’d planned? Lucas says, it was canceled because of a hurricane, and Brad says, they could go to Little Havana on their day off. A nurse tells Lucas that there’s a stabbing victim, and he says he’s on his way.

Trina says she thought Josslyn was only a fan of Kai on the field, and Josslyn says she doesn’t know him well, but it’s incredible how passionate and dedicated he is to something at their age. Like Trina with art and Dex with being a cop. They know what they want to do with the rest of their lives. Trina says she thinks Josslyn was right. Kai is a hard worker. Josslyn says she told Trina that he was more than just football, and Trina says she judged who she thought he was, not who he actually is. Josslyn knows how she hates to admit she was wrong, but in this case, she definitely was.

Sasha asks if Willow and Michael are staying for dinner, but Willow says she came to grab Amelia’s medicine, and Maxie asks if she has an ear infection. Willow says, she does, and leaves. Sasha asks if Maxie has time to help, but Maxie says, they’re not talking about anything else until Sasha tells her about the obvious chill between her and Willow. Spill it.

Lucas says, Dex’s wound is clean and there’s no tissue damage or internal injuries. If you’re going to get stabbed, it’s the best-case scenario. They’ll get him prepped for surgery. Dr. Gannon will do the operation and he’ll be recovered in time for his holiday parties. He’s sorry Dex was attacked and hopes they find out who did it.

Cyrus tells Chase, that’s terrible. How’s his fellow officer? Chase says, he’s fine and they intend to catch who did it. Is there anything Cyrus can tell him? Cyrus says he doesn’t have much to offer. Chase asks if he heard or saw anything suspicious, but Cyrus says he was enjoying the plaza and focusing on his mission of charity work. Chase says, right, and Cyrus says, despite the abundance of Christmas spirit, sinners are all about. All of them are sinners. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Felicia tells James and Georgie to stay with Officer Jackson. She goes over to Chase and says she can tell him everything.

Sasha says, maybe she shouldn’t have told Cody about Willow and Drew kissing, but they were dating. She told him everything. But Willow isn’t mad at her. She’s mad at herself because God forbid Miss Perfect makes a mistake. Maxie wonders if that’s not a little harsh. She knows what it’s like to be judged by someone of even a higher moral standing than Willow. Sasha asks if that’s possible, and Maxie says, it is, and Sasha knows her – Elizabeth. Sasha asks, why? and Maxie says she’s not proud of it, but she may have slept with Lucky when he was still with Elizabeth. Then Elizabeth slept with Jason, got pregnant, and told Lucky that it was his son. Then Elizabeth thought the whole thing was her fault. Sasha says, she did sleep with Elizabeth’s husband, and Maxie says, they’re talking about Sasha. Before Willow came in, Sasha was about to tell her something about the baby’s father. Sasha says, it doesn’t matter. She couldn’t tell him if she wanted to. He was a stranger she’ll never see again, but it’s okay. The baby will be hers and hers alone. Maxie says, Sasha forgets she’s a Scorpio now. She has a whole new family, and they’re a pushy, intrusive bunch.

Michael asks if Curtis believes him now, and Curtis says, Drew had every opportunity to explain and come clean, but he didn’t. Michael tells him that he can’t say he’s shocked. He can’t trust Drew. Curtis says he knows that now, and Michael asks if Curtis is accepting his offer to help take down Drew. Curtis says he thought a lot about it, but the answer is no.

Carly goes to the Crimson office and says she heard something about a disturbance. Lulu says, that’s a bit harsh, and Carly hugs her. She says she’s happy to see Lulu, and thanks Nick. She asks for a minute, and Nick and Madison leave. She asks how Lulu looks this good after four years in a coma, and Lulu says, to be fair, she had a lot of beauty sleep. Carly says she missed Lulu. She has a lot of regrets. Lulu says, none of that matters now. They have a chance to start over. Everything is so different. She’s missed so much. Carly says she can fill Lulu in, but Lulu says, the most important thing is Charlotte. No one knows where she is. She was hoping to get an answer from Nina. She can tell Nina knows something even though she claims not to. Carly says she’d never defend Nina, but she doesn’t think Nina is lying. She doesn’t think Valentin shared his location with Nina. She’s sorry. Lulu says she was hoping to get a lead from Nina. Somebody has to know something. Nina listens in, and Carly says she knows exactly who can help. They leave and Nina comes out.

Felicia tells Chase, six male college students came to the plaza intoxicated. They were from PCU and Llanview and were arguing about the game. It led to personal insults and then a fight. Officers Heller and Jackson stopped the boys, and they left. Dex poured out the alcohol he confiscated, but then she lost sight of him. She texted Maxie at 3:35, so she estimates Dex was stabbed at 3:55. She’s spent a lot of years with cops, so she knows detail is important. Chase asks if she thinks the stabbing had anything to do with the fight, but she says, it was over by then… Dex was off to the side, pouring out the alcohol, and he was alone. He was isolated and she thinks he was targeted.

Felicia tells Georgie and James that the tree is loaded on the car. She suggests they get going. (Cyrus’s bell ringing is going to make me nuts. It’s been going on since the beginning of the show.) James asks if he can have a dollar to put in the bucket, and Felicia gives him one, but says, be quick and don’t talk to him. She tells Georgie to stay with James. Georgie and James leave, and she asks if there’s anything Chase needs. He says he’s good, and she says, something is bothering her. She can’t put her finger on it. A part is missing, but she doesn’t know what it is. He says he’s sure it will come back to her. When it does, let him know. He leaves.

Josslyn says she’s glad Kai finished his presentation. Now Trina will figure it out and finish strong. Trina says, now she has to make a decision. Kai isn’t going to be there to present with her, and she wonders if she’d be a total fraud if she presented both of their work and took the grade. Josslyn’s phone rings, and she asks Lucas, what’s going on? Lucas asks her to get to GH. Dex is stable and will be fine, but he’s in surgery because he got stabbed.

Curtis says he’s given everything he has to Aurora and isn’t going to tank it just to stick it to Drew. But Drew can’t get away with it. Michael asks what he’s saying, and Curtis says, there’s a way to turn the tables on Drew without tainting Aurora. He wants to take Drew down, but he’s going to do it his way.

Willow thanks Drew for meeting her at the plaza, and he asks what he can do for her. She says, hear her out. She’s going to tell Michael that she slept with him. He says, do whatever she feels she has to do, and she says she’s going to wait until after Christmas. If they split up, she wants the kids to have one last good Christmas to remember with them all together. He says he understands, and she says she knows there will be fallout, but he says, don’t worry. Make the choice that’s best for her and the kids. He wishes it had worked out differently. She says, so does she, and he watches as she leaves.

Carly comes back to her office, and Jack asks, what was the emergency? She says she’d like him to meet her cousin Lulu, and he says, so he finally meets the infamous Lulu everyone’s been making a fuss about. Welcome back. Carly says she brought Lulu for a reason. Jack knows how to get in touch with Valentin. Lulu says, good. Start dialing.

Tomorrow, Curtis tells Portia that he’s about to take Aurora from Drew; Anna tells Spinelli to keep his distance; Lulu doesn’t believe Jack is telling the truth; and Jason says he’ll ask the questions.

🧼 A Little Bit Of Soap…

I pegged him early on, but I can’t figure it out. At first, I thought he was  trying to pave the way for Lulu to be with Dante, but then there was that whole thing about him wanting to move her, so beats me.

👠 A Tale Of Two Cities…

I’ve had one helluva busy day, so I wasn’t really paying attention, but the Kyle/Dorit feud raged on. My takeaway points were Jennifer saying she didn’t know what was going on, but hoped it was over soon so she could have her dinner; and Boz saying she was trying to figure out the layers. Good luck with that.

Meanwhile, in NYC, Ubah might have been giving Ramona vibes, but at least she’s not Ramona. I do not miss that woman one bit.

👀 Last Weekend’s Watch…

This was our theme for Halloween this year. I didn’t like it as much as the original, but I loved the sandworms and the extended glimpse of the underworld. Lots of Bobs too.

🐕 Change of Seasons For Doggos…

I had a German Shepherd who loved to walk through leaf piles. She also liked to walk on bubblewrap, which is totally weird.

Nothing better than watching dogs play in the snow.

December 9, 2024 – Sam’s Fatal Dose Is Revealed, No Rosé But a Jellyfish On Deck & End

Standard

What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

Josslyn and Trina go tree shopping with Dex and Gio in Rice Plaza. Josslyn says, their first tree for their first apartment, and Dex asks if they didn’t have one in their dorm room, but Trina says, it was lame. She asks if Gio has something to say, but Josslyn shakes her head at him, and he says, good things come in small packages. Trina says, let Operation Christmas Tree commence.

Lucky watches a guitarist playing in the plaza and puts some money in his case. He bumps into Elizabeth and says, fancy meeting you here.

Back home, Alexis says, Molly left the courthouse before they had a chance to talk, and Molly asks, what is there to talk about? Ava was found not guilty. Case closed. Alexis says she wasn’t referring to the verdict. She was referring to what Molly’s sister said. Molly says, that Irene wasn’t her daughter? and Alexis says, she shouldn’t have said it. It was hurtful… Molly says, stop. It’s not working.

Martin goes to Laura’s office, and she says, what a nice surprise. He says, what her daughter managed to pull off is exciting and amazing, and Laura says, can he believe it? After four years, Lulu is finally back and doing great. She has a fully functioning liver and is coming along beautifully. They hug, and Laura says, once her incision is healed, Lulu will be in perfect health. Martin says, she knows it’s a miracle, right? It feels more poignant at this time of year. Laura agrees and he says, it wasn’t without its hiccups. She asks if he’s talking about Cyrus, and he says he heard about the mix-up at Turning Woods. She says, it wasn’t a mix-up. It was a deliberate deception. Cyrus convinced the doctors that he was allowed to give orders regarding Lulu’s medical care. She wonders what he was up to.

Sonny walks into Pozzulo’s with Kristina and asks if she’s hungry, but she says she can’t even think about eating. He says, the verdict was a shock and emotions were high, but she’ll be all right. She and Molly will figure it out after things settle. She didn’t mean what she said. She says she’s not talking about that. Molly wasn’t Adela’s mother. That’s a fact and she has zero regret about saying it.

Lucky says, Lulu is doing amazingly well after her adventure, and Elizabeth says, she’s a Spencer. Lucky asks if Aiden is with her, but she says, he’s at the mall with his friends. He asks if she’s here solo, and she says, unless he wants to be her wingman. He says he’d love to. What is she doing? She says she’s picking out a tree, and he says, from the puny ones? She says she thought something small would be nice, and he says, who is she and what has she done with Elizabeth? The tree is her favorite thing about Christmas, and a small one won’t hold a fraction of her ornaments. She needs a big tree. She asks how she’s going to drag it into the house, and he says, her wingman at her service. Now let’s get a real tree.

Martin says, so Laura is telling him that Lulu freaked out about Cyrus, pulled the fire alarm, snuck out of Turning Woods, and hitchhiked to Port Charles, and she says, yes, to all of the above. He says, damn. She takes after her mama. Laura says she’s proud of Lulu’s strength, but she hated that Lulu felt she was in danger. Why did no one tell her that Cyrus was volunteering there? He says, that’s probably why Cyrus didn’t tell him. He’s sorry. He’ll make sure Cyrus knows to leave their niece alone. She says she got a restraining order. Cyrus can go nowhere near any members of her family.

Alexis says she’s worried about Molly, and Molly asks if she isn’t worried about Kristina. Alexis says, of course (🍷), and Molly says, that’s why Alexis hasn’t gotten in the middle. Alexis says she tries not to interfere, but she wants to help when Molly is hurt. She can’t lose another daughter. Molly says, that’s why she has to go. Alexis won’t lose her ever, but if Alexis looks like she’s siding with her, she’ll absolutely lose Kristina.

Kristin says, Molly is choosing to believe Ava, and Sonny says, it’s surprising. Kristina says, Molly thinks if she labels the baby’s death as an accident it will be easier to process, and she can move on. But Kristina knows what happened. Ava pushed her out a window and killed her baby. She’s never going to forget that. He says, him neither. One way or another, Ava will pay.

Josslyn and Trina find their tree, and Dex asks if they’re sure. Josslyn says she senses doubt, and he says, that’s the fourth perfect tree they’ve found. Gio says, they’ve looked at every single one. and Josslyn says, perfection takes time. Gio says, Olivia, Lois, and Tracy have been arguing about the decorations for the Quartermaine Christmas party, and Trina asks if it’s not tomorrow. Gio asks if they’re coming, but Dex says he has to work and asks how deep Josslyn and Trina’s tree stand is… They don’t have one, do they? Trina asks if they don’t sell them here, and Dex says, while they pick one out, he’ll go get coffee. Josslyn tells Gio to guard the tree with his life, and leaves with Trina. Dex goes over to put some money in a charity collection bucket and realizes it’s Cyrus ringing the bell.

Martin asks how Lulu is adjusting. Four years is a lot of time to miss out on. Laura says, she’s trying to fill in the blanks at record speed. It took everything to convince her to rest. She’d like Lulu to ease into it and take care of herself. She doesn’t realize making peace with what she’s trying to is enormous. She’s having dinner with her son tonight. He says, Rocco must be thrilled and vice versa. Imagine waking up and years have passed. Laura says she can. She lived that.

Alexis says she’s not taking sides, but Molly says, Kristina isn’t going to see it that way. Alexis says, that’s between her and Kristina. Molly needs her and so does Kristina. She wants to help them grieve. Molly says, according to TJ and Kristina, she’s doing it wrong, and Alexis says, no one has the right to tell her that. Everyone grieves in their own way. It makes Kristina feel better to blame other people, and she’s having trouble accepting the verdict. Molly says, she has no choice, and Alexis tells her that she’s not saying it’s logical. Molly asks if Alexis thinks Ava pushed Kristina.

Sonny says he’s sorry that Molly bought what Ric and Ava were selling, and Kristina says, they don’t know Ava and how she ruins live for sport. That’s why she’s enraged at how Molly believes Ava over her. Sonny says, Molly had to believe it was an accident, and Kristina says, it simplifies it. If Molly labels it an accident, that removes the painful, confusing emotional process. He says, life doesn’t work that way. Life is messy. She says, if Molly wants to believe Ava, fine. Ava is guilty and her daughter deserves justice. Kristina is going to make damn well sure she gets it.

Lucky says, the tree is being tied to Elizabeth’s car, and Elizabeth says, this reminds her of their grand plan to move to New York City when they were teens. He says, they were going to live in Greenwich Village, and he was going to make a killing playing music in the park. She was going to be a famous and hugely successful artist. She says, it was a foolproof, practical plan, and he says, you’re supposed to dream big at that age. She says, it was hard not to get caught up in it. He was the first person to ever truly believe in her. He got her to believe in herself. He says he believes she’s worthy of all of it. She still is. She deserves the world. The tree guy tells them that they’re all set, and Lucky says he has the feeling it’s going to be a great Christmas.

Martin tells Laura that he’s sorry. He didn’t know. She says, when she was well enough to go home, the little girl she remembered was a spirited teen. Martin says he was one himself, and she says her too. She was proud of the person Lulu had become and was grateful to the people who took care of her when she couldn’t. Martin asks what it was like, and she says, it was bumpy and took time, but eventually they managed to build a mother/daughter relationship. It still kills her that she missed so much of Lulu’s childhood. Michael says, Lulu must feel the same way, and Laura says, she absolutely does. She’s proud of the young man he’s become, but part of her is mourning the loss of her little boy she didn’t have enough time with. She wishes she could do more. He asks if she’s had any luck with Charlotte, but she says, no. Has he heard from Valentin? He says, no. He would have told her. She says, the look on Lulu’s face when she told her that Charlotte was missing broke her heart.

Sonny says he’s proud of Kristina. She did everything she could for her daughter. She put her pain on display. She couldn’t do more. It’s done now. Let him deal with Ava. He knows it’s hard. She says, but it’s not honoring Adela, and he says, she has to find a new purpose.

Alexis tells Molly that she believes the jury arrived at a fair verdict given the circumstances. She knows Kristina can’t accept that yet. Molly says she doesn’t know if Kristina will ever get peace over the baby’s death. She sees it as a betrayal. Alexis says she hopes Kristina realizes that and doesn’t equate loving the baby with blaming Ava. Molly wonders why Alexis is the only one who hears her, and Alexis says, because she’s Molly’s mommy.

Cyrus says, it’s nice to see Dex, and Dex says he hopes Cyrus is obeying the restraining order. Cyrus says he’s filling his days with good works, but Dex says, that’s not an answer. Cyrus says, of course (🍷) he’s abiding by his sister’s wishes, and Dex says, he didn’t before. Cyrus says he has no idea what Dex is referring to, and Dex says he remembers seeing Cyrus in the hall at GH after Laura told him to stop visiting Lulu. Cyrus says he was distributing candy in the children’s wing, but Dex says he saw Cyrus on the 10th floor, coincidentally the floor Lulu’s room was on. Cyrus says, hand to God, he wasn’t there to see Lulu on Halloween.

Lucky and Elizabeth bring in the tree, and Lucky asks if Aiden is coming soon to help. She says, it’s doubtful, and Lucky says, it would be cool if Aiden came home to a Christmas wonderland… unless she thinks he would be upset. She says, he would be thrilled. Less work for him. Lucky says, let’s do it, and she asks if he’s offering to help decorate. He asks if she baked cookies, and she says, Aiden baked four different kinds. He says, they should be tested for quality control. They don’t want subpar cookies. Let’s get the place Santa ready. She thanks him and says, he exceeds wingman expectations. He says, there’s nowhere he’d rather be.

Sonny asks if Kristina has thought about his job offer, but she says she’s not excited about the coffee business. He says, what about the youth center? but she says she stepped aside because of the controversy about her relationship with Allie. He says, for a long time, it was her baby, and she says she’s proud of what she’s built, a safe space for queer teens, but she doesn’t think her involvement would be fair. The center needs to focus on the kids, not whether she’s a legit enough member of the LGBTQA+ community. She’s angry right now and doesn’t think she’s in the right headspace to help kids who are struggling. He says, she has more to offer – peace, love, and energy. She’ll figure out a way to channel it. She asks if he has any ideas, and he says he just might.

Josslyn insists the lights have to go on first, and Gio says, when he was growing up, there were so many cousins, everything was strictly regulated. Josslyn says, tell them more, and he says, no kids in the room until the uncles put the lights on, the low branches were saved for the littles, and no store-bought ornaments until the handmade ones were hung. One tradition he loved was that they were allowed to open a single present on Christmas Eve. Trina says she and her mom used to do that, and Josslyn asks if Dex is okay. He says he’s just trying to untangle the lights.

Lucky says he had to tell Lulu about their dad, and it was as awful as he imagined. Elizabeth says she’s sorry. Lucky must miss him. He says, every day. He’s grateful for the time they got and the relationship they had. She says she was always envious that he was so close to his parents. They had an actual family. He says, their hyper involvement wasn’t always a plus, but for the most part, it was cool, and she says, Luke was not only his dad, but his friend. She hopes to have that with her boys. He asks, who wouldn’t want to be friends with her?

Lucky says he’s decided to stay in Port Charles for a minute, and Elizabeth says, look at him. He’s throwing that out all casual. How long is a minute? He says, the foreseeable future, and she says, Aiden will be happy to hear that. He says, what about her? and she says she’s happy… for Aiden’s sake. He says, just Aiden? and she says, he’s proven to be a dependable wingman. She’ll take it. What are his plans? He says he needs to find a job, and she suggests he revisit an old dream. He says he needs a guitar, and she goes upstairs. He asks what she’s doing, but she says, nothing.

Josslyn asks if Dex wants to get out of here. She thinks she left something at Rice Plaza. Does he want to come with her? He says he’d go anywhere with her, and she tells Trina and Gio that they’ll be right back. They leave, and Gio asks, what’s that about? Trina says she has no clue.

Molly tells Alexis that she feels like a giant weight has been lifted. Kristina is angry and TJ claims she’s trying to forget the baby. She felt alone. Alexis says, she isn’t. Molly has her. Please don’t go. Molly says, okay, but Kristina… and Alexis says, they can’t live in fear about how Kristina is going to react. Besides, she feels alone. She misses Molly’s sister so much, it hurts. Molly says, so does she, and Alexis says, so stay. Molly agrees, and Alexis says she loves her. Molly says she loves Alexis too, and Alexis says she likes the sound of that.

Sonny says, now that Phyllis has moved back to Nixon Falls (thanks for finally telling us), Charlie’s has no owner, but Kristina says, he’s the owner. He says he needs someone to run it, but she says, he knows how to run a restaurant. He says, if he takes an active interest, the Feds will assume it’s a front, and she asks if he’s saying that he wants her to run it. He says he wants her to own it. She needs to focus on a challenge, something she’s excited about. She says she doesn’t think she can be excited right now, but he says, if she doesn’t move forward, she can get locked in her pain. She says, he doesn’t have to give her a restaurant to occupy her time, and he tells her that if she says no, from a business perspective, he’ll have to sell and he’d rather not. She asks if he’s saying she’d be doing him a favor, and he says, big time. What does she say?

In Rice Plaza, Josslyn says she thought Dex could use a break from the holiday reminders, and he says he’s not a Christmas hater, but it’s hard thinking about his parents. She says, he’s amazing. Look what he’s been through and look at him now. Her boyfriend, the police officer. He says he’s glad she was still here when he figured himself out, and she says, they’ll make great Christmas memories. Starting now. She takes out some mistletoe, holds it over their heads, and they kiss.

Still kissing, they go into Dex’s apartment. They get busy and there’s a song part. We see the mistletoe on the floor.

Kristina says she doesn’t know if she can focus, and Sonny says she has nothing to focus on. Work can be a lifeline, a way to change and make change in the world. She says, with a gastropub? and he says, it can be whatever she wants it to be. He knows she fought hard to get justice for Adela. Now it’s time to take care of herself. At least think about it. She says she will, and he says, seriously. She says, deal, and they shake hands.

Molly asks Alexis not to push her and Kristina to make up, and Alexis promises to respect Molly’s boundaries and not push. Molly says, no, oops, I invited Kristina over and forgot you were living here, and Alexis says, if Kristina doesn’t want to come over, she’ll meet her someplace else. Molly asks if her dad is allowed to visit, and Alexis says, fine. Just tell her and she’ll be someplace else. She’s happy to take care of her little girl. Molly says, they’ll take care of each other.

Laura says she should have kept a closer eye on Valentin and stopped him, but Martin says, how would she know he’d go into hiding? She says, Valentin won her over. She was starting to feel sorry for him and should have been smarter. He says, outsmarting Valentin is a challenge. He’s known Valentin for years, the way an attorney knows a client, and he’s never met anyone so expert at compartmentalizing. He’s an artist at accommodating the image he wants people to see in the moment. She saw a loving father. She says she believes he loves Charlotte, and he says, he agrees. She says she believes Charlotte is the most important person in Valentin’s life, but it’s a selfish love. He chose to take her with him, but was it for Charlotte’s good? No. He couldn’t bear to be parted from her and he put his own needs ahead of hers. That’s not going to work.

Elizabeth brings down a guitar and tells Lucky that it’s Cameron’s. He wants Lucky to borrow it. Lucky says he can’t take it, and she says, yeah. It should be collecting dust. He says he detects sarcasm, and she tells him that he said guitars were meant to be played. Play something. He says, it’s been a while, and starts to play. She says, it’s one of her favorites, and he sings a song about Elizabeth. We flash back to him singing it to her when we were all babies, and they kiss. He sings, all I want is Elizabeth, and they smile.

A woman puts a contribution in Cyrus’s charity bucket, and says, bless you. You’re doing God’s work. He says, they all have to do their part, and flashes back to going into Sam’s room. He puts the digitalis into her IV bag and smooths her hair.

Told ya.

Tomorrow, Maxie asks if Sasha has made any decisions about her plans; Trina says, Josslyn is not going to believe what just happened: Michael asks if Curtis is accepting his offer to team up and take Drew down; and Lulu tells Nina to prove she loves Charlotte.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Diana and Danni check out Chase as he swabs the deck. In Gary’s interview, he says, Chase is stubborn and stuck up in his own ways – we flash back – but he’s going to try his hardest. If Chase is anything like last season, it’s going to be quite interesting. In Chase’s interview, he says he’s going to work his ass off, but instead of trying to impress Gary, he’s going to try flying under Gary’s radar. Captain Glenn calls for a preference sheet meeting, and says, the primary is Ronnie, a CEO from Chicago. It’s a field trip for her 50th birthday, and they want a floating 7-star hotel. Gary reads that they want to sail around one of the islands and see a local boat procession. Cloyce says, they want an impressive spread the first night, and Glenn says, they want midnight snacks. Daisy says, Ronnie wants a Studio 54 birthday party, and in Captain Glenn’s interview, he says he liked the 70’s. We see a picture of a young Glenn with afro hair, and he dances. Sort of.

Provisions come in, and in Diana’s interview, she says she usually dates guys who are tall and fit. Of course she has an eye on Chase. Danni asks where Chase is from, and he says, South Carolina. In his interview, he says he wants to work on acting professional. Stay away from him. He wants to behave. Danni says she’s going to bed and tells him, don’t get in trouble. In Danni’s interview, she says her prayers have been answered. She has a lot of feelings. They’re mostly under her skort. In Cloyce’s interview, he says, the last charter went well, and the guests seemed to enjoy it. We flash back to that, and he says he’s hoping to ride that high into the next charter. A 50th is a big deal and getting worse is not an option. Chase works on doing that thing where the chef makes one food look like another and turns a mango into a fried egg. In Daisy’s interview, she wonders if rooming with Gary is the right decision. She can keep an eye on him. She’s trying to get him to be better for himself. In Gary’s interview, he says he thinks if they can share living together on a boat, living in a house together will be a breeze. She tells him that he snores loud, and he asks how she’d know.

Captain Glenn approves the boat’s readiness and calls the crew to the cockpit. The guests arrive, and the captain tells them, welcome to Spain. They’re going to get out quick, so he’s handing them over to Daisy. Daisy does the tour, and the boat pulls out. The guests get excited when Daisy tells them that Danni is a master at espresso martinis. Ronnie tells her that the rule is, always focus on her. They woo! then drink. Captain Glenn tells the interior that they’re going sailing, and in his interview, he says he’s happy to have someone of Chase’s caliber on board. He’s feeling good about this. Ronnie appreciates the glassware, and I think, she’d better hang onto it, because the sails are going up. Things slide and fall. Danni shows Chase her photos on her phone, and in Diana’s interview, she says, it’s not nice. Chase scrolls Danni’s phone while Diana serves the guests.

Daisy asks Cloyce if they can serve lunch while still sailing, and he says, it’s fine. She tells the stews to do a plain table setting. As Cloyce plates, he says, sexy and delicious. Ronnie wants to know if they have to eat every meal at this table because it will be irritating. A guest asks for rosé, and Daisy can’t find any. She asks if the rosé came in, but Diana says she didn’t see it. In Daisy’s interview, she says she can’t believe she forgot to order rosé. She f***ed up. Diana finds an open bottle, and Daisy says, it’s better than nothing. She can’t think of anything more awkward. Chase tells Gary that everyone seems nice. Only good vibes. Daisy asks Captain Glenn where she can go to get rosé, and he says, do it quick. He puts the sails down, and Daisy helps Cloyce plate. He says, these are the moments they’re going to miss, plating some salad together. Anchor is dropped at Cala Compte, Ibiza, and Daisy tells Chase to drop Danni off to get some rosé when they find a restaurant. Gary puts out the seabob for the guests, while Danni tries to find someone on shore who speaks English. She radios Daisy and says, the restaurant is closed. There’s no one there, and no one speaks English. There’s nothing there. In Daisy’s interview, she says she can’t believe the store is closed. No matter what, don’t come back without the f***ing rosé. Danni asks a neighboring boat if they have rosé, but it’s a no.

A guest wants more rosé, and in Daisy’s interview, she says she can’t believe this is happening. Chase says, this looks promising, and Danni goes into a bar/restaurant. She gets the rosé, and in her interview, she says she’s so stoked. They got it done. She reckons she and Chase are a good team. They get sh*t done and still manage to have fun. They take a selfie, and in her interview, she says, all she’s been striving for, she finally got it. Daisy suggests Cloyce work on timing, and in Cloyce’s interview, he says he wants the food to be perfect. He wants the communication perfect. If it goes according to plan, everything is going to be sexy. WOTD.

Danni tells Diana that Chase is hot. He winked at her, and she liked it. The guests begin dinner, and Cloyce mumbles, rock and roll, baby, as he goes up with the yellowtail. The wind picks up, and Daisy asks if the guests want to move. Daisy tells Cloyce what’s happening, while Captain Glenn entertains the guests with a literal fish story. In Daisy’s interview, she says, they’re suddenly in this situation while they’re moving. We usually find a lull, but Glenn isn’t lulling. It’s the longest story about a fish of all time. Cloyce is annoyed, and in his interview, he says, Daisy claimed she was the greatest. Now would be a good time to enact those decades of knowledge. Tell him when the guests aren’t at the table. The guests ask how old Cloyce is, and he says, 22. He tells them that they don’t look a day over 25. Danni bitches to Daisy about Cloyce, and in her interview, Daisy says, Cloyce wants communication from her, but he’s not willing to give her the same. The communication is one-sided.

Captain Glenn wonders why the meal took so long, and Daisy says, some people don’t understand communication. He tells her not to let it get to her. They’ll solve it after dinner. When the guests find out Cloyce is 22, they decide they failed with their kids. They’re super amazed at Cloyce. They dessert is brought up and it looks like a fried egg on shredded cheese. Guest Tammy pronounces it spectacular. Danni massages Chase’s shoulders, and he says she has the hands of a carpenter. Daisy tells Cloyce that if he has a problem with timing, speak to her, not the girls. It helps if he shares what he needs. He apologizes for snapping at the girls, and she says, it’s not for her; it’s for him. Her service is great, but he needs to make the timing so that the guests aren’t sitting awkwardly. Did they reach the same conclusion? He says he thinks so, and in Daisy’s interview, she says, this isn’t how she expected it to go, but she’s glad they’re on the same level. In Cloyce’s interview, he says, Daisy’s intensity is attractive. She’s yelling, but he’s not paying attention. It’s easy to get lost in her smile and eyes. Okay. So he’s into women yelling at him.

Cala Compte, Ibiza. Anchor is home, and Chase asks if Diana needs help. He helps put on napkin rings, and she asks how he’s getting along. He says, swimmingly, and in Chase’s interview, he says, Diana is tricky to read. She and Danni are both stunning. This isn’t meant to offend, but really? They’re both good looking girls, but stunning is a bit of a stretch. Although Diana does look stunning when she’s dressed up. Chase says, all of his plans to just be single and do his job, his plans are in trouble. Guest Melanie wants sweetened coffee, but more sweet than coffee, and makes Daisy run back and forth no less than five times. In Daisy’s interview, she says she still can’t catch a break. The sexiest breakfast porn ever comes out, but Melanie still isn’t satisfied with her pseudo coffee and asks for tea. In her interview, Daisy says she can’t even. They need to get the tender and bring Melanie to Starbuck’s. The guests jump in the water, and suddenly, Ronnie wails. She’s been stung by a jellyfish. Captain Glenn brings antiseptic, and Daisy gets ice. Ronnie cries that her leg is on fire, and the captain tells Davide to grab the stinger easy and pull it out or kill it with alcohol. Ronnie says, it’s getting increasingly painful, and in Captain Glenn’s interview, he says, jellyfish sometimes leave a piece of the stinger, and it continues to release venom. They need to get it out. Davide says, it looks like it’s quite in there, but he gets it out with tweezers. Captain Glenn says, it’s going to hurt for a bit, and Ronnie says she’ll suck it up. She’s a better man than I am. I’d probably be a big baby.

In the crew mess, Chase says, the crew must be on their best behavior. He hasn’t heard any awful stories. Daisy says, Danni hooked up with Gary and almost had a thing with Keith, and in Danni’s interview, she asks if Daisy is trying to put something in Chase’s head. She tells Chase that nothing happened with Keith and Gary was a one-time thing. She leaves, and Diasy follows her. She tells Danni that she’s sorry. She shouldn’t have started anything, but everyone knows. Danni says she chose to forget, and Daisy jokes that she’s here to remind Danni. In Danni’s interview, she says, it’s petty sh*t. Why is Daisy telling him that? There’s no f***ing need. She tells Daisy, what the f***?

Next time, Ronnie acts like an ass about her birthday; and Diana says, Danni knows what she’s doing. What the f***?

What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

Outside the courtroom, TJ arrives, and Molly tells Alexis that she’ll just be a minute. Alexis says she’ll check on Kristina, and goes inside. Molly thanks TJ again for bringing her journal by, and he says he wanted to make sure she got it. She says she’s actually been rereading it. She’s embarrassed. There’s some pretty sappy entries. She made a long list of all the places she hoped they’d travel… He says he’s sorry they didn’t get to make those trips, and she says her too.

Inside the courtroom, Kristina hugs Sonny and says she’s so glad he’s here. He says, of course (🍷) he’s here. Is she ready? Ric walks in with Ava, and Kristina says, more than ready.

At the hospital, Lucas says, Lulu’s awake? That’s amazing. Elizabeth says she’s sure Sam would be really pleased, and he says he’s sure she would. Has she spoken to Lulu yet? She says, all she knows is what she and Lucky saw on the security footage, but she’s not only awake, she snuck out of Turning Woods and made her way back to Port Charles. He asks why she snuck out, and she says, apparently, she saw Cyrus Renault lurking around and she was worried about what he might be up to. He asks if she’s okay, and Elizabeth says, last she heard, Lulu is safe and surrounded by family. He asks if this means Lucky will be sticking around, and she tells Lucas, he says he wants to. Lucas says, she doesn’t seem thrilled, and she says, Lucky told her part of the reason he’s staying is for Lulu… He says, and the other part? She says, me. In case she needs help if she’s found at fault in Sam’s death.

In the breakroom, Brad says, when he and Lucas were apart, he would have given anything to see that handsome face again. Now he realizes seeing him every day hurts more than not seeing him. He deserves this, right? The pain of seeing the man he loves with no hope of ever being with him again. Is he crazy to be thinking like this? Stella puts her hand on his and says, no. He’s just human.

Trina walks into the gallery on the phone and tells Ava to let her know when she’s heard the verdict. Kai comes in wearing a suit, and she says she’s beyond flattered, but he didn’t have to get dressed up just to work on their project. He says he hates to disappoint, but he just had an interview about the championship game. The coach made him wear a suit. She says, he’s doing interviews now, and he says, the whole world wants his insights. She says she’s really enjoying his insights. She loves the artists he added to the section on modern art in New York in the 1980s (Banksy?). He says, about the project, there’s something he needs to tell her.

Lois is getting her makeup done at Home & Heart, and the makeup artist tells her that since she lost her accent, she’s really become a wonderful spokesperson. So clear and professional. Using her learned voice, Lois says, thank you. I really appreciate your kind words. The woman leaves, and Brook comes along. She asks Lois, what’s wrong?

Kai promises it’s not going to be a problem. He won’t leave Trina hanging. They can get an extension. He’ll complete his half of the project and fuse it seamlessly together with hers, then boom! They’re golden… She’s pissed. She says, no, not pissed. Disappointed.

Lucas asks if Lucky staying in Port Charles isn’t a good thing, but Elizabeth says she can’t think about Lucky right now. Not when she’s stressed about what might have happened with Sam. He asks how that’s going for her, and she says, not great. She’s under review because she was the nurse assigned to Sam the day she died.

Lois says, nothing’s wrong, and Brook asks if she’s sure. Lois says, what could possibly be wrong? and goes over to Haven on the set. Maxie comes in and Brook asks, where’s Lucy? Maxie says she has some bad news and Lucy not being here is directly connected to it. Brook says, let’s start with the bad news, and Maxie says, they have to hit $75,000 in sales. Brook says, why so high? and Maxie says, sales have been really slow lately. Brook says she’s noticed, and what happens if sales don’t pick up? Maxie says, not only does it have to pick up, it has to pick up during their segment today. She’s not sure they can move that much product. Brook says, they need to bring out the big guns, and Maxie tells her, that’s what Lucy said. Brook says, let her guess. Lucy’s idea of the big guns is her being on camera? Maxie says she managed to convince Lucy that she’d be better working on the social media people promoting Lois’s spot. Does Brook think they should bring her mom in on this? Brook says, absolutely not. Something’s up with her today and she doesn’t want to add more pressure.

Alexis takes Kristina and Molly’s hands and says, before they get started, there’s something she wants to say to both of them. Regardless of what the verdict is, they’ve lost so much already, and she doesn’t want them to lose each other. Kristina says, of course (🍷), and Molly says, absolutely. (I say, yeah, right.) Ric sits next to Ava, and she says, if looks could kill, she’d be flayed alive. He says, all that matters is the jury, and the bailiff says, all rise. Court is in session. The judge (who apparently doesn’t have a name) comes in and tells them, be seated. Has the jury reached a verdict? The foreman says, we have, and hands it to the bailiff who gives it to the judge. She reads it and asks the defendant to please rise. Ric and Ava stand.

Brad says, Lucas deserves someone much better than him, and Stella says, this isn’t about Lucas. This is about him. He says, what he’d really like is to just be worthy of him, and she says, that’s almost the right attitude. He asks, what’s the totally right attitude? and she says, be the person you’re promising to be. But instead of doing it for Lucas, do it for himself. He says, so be selfish and make it about himself. He guesses he could swing that. She says, a man can reflect on his mistakes, be genuinely remorseful, and do better. If Brad can do that, there’s hope for him yet.

Lucas says he really believes the Board will find that Elizabeth did nothing wrong, and she says, here’s hoping. Portia asks if she can speak to Lucas in her office for a moment, and he says, sure, and follows her.

Kai says he’s 100% positive the professor will give them an extension, and Trina says, of course (🍷) she will. He’s Kai Tyler, QB1 of PCU’s Tigers. If there need to be any accommodations, there will be no question. He says, okay. Then great. They’ll work together and get it done… just a little later. She says, when? The class will be over before the game happens. He says he’s sorry he can’t do this project right now. He needs to focus on being best for the game. She says she really thought he genuinely cared about this class, but now she sees it’s not even a priority for him. He says, it is a priority. It’s just… She says, not his first priority. Well, it is for her. She needs to ace this class if she’s going to go to the grad school she wants or have the life and career that she wants. He says, PCU’s never been in the Northeast Classic before, and she says she doesn’t know what that means, but it sounds major. He says, if they beat Llanview, it would be huge, for the entire school. He can’t let everyone down. She has to see that. She says she does, but does he see where this puts her? Most people who major in Art History want to make learning interactive. That’s why the professor made this a presentation. He says, and they will still present it, and she says, to who? They can’t force their classmates to come back. He says, what if they do a slideshow? They can play it when everyone else presents their projects. She says, he doesn’t get it. Professor Donahue is a big deal in the art world. To present to the professor is a can’t miss opportunity for her. She can’t blow it off and present a slideshow. He says, so what are we going to do? but she says, there’s no we here. He needs to do what he needs to do for his future, and she’s going to do what she needs to do for hers.

The foreman says, we, the jury, find the defendant, Ava Jerome, not guilty, and the judge says, the court thanks the jury for its service. She thanks the attorneys and tells Ava, in accordance with the State of New York, she’s been found not guilty of manslaughter in the first degree, and she may not be retried for those crimes. She is free to go. Kristina is stunned, and the bailiff says, all rise. Ava thanks Ric and hugs him. Molly follows TJ out, but Kristina just sits there, a blank look on her face. Sonny asks her to look at him, and Alexis asks if she’s okay. Kristina doesn’t respond.

Lucas tells Elizabeth, good news. He went from surgeon under review to surgeon selected to represent GH at a medical symposium in Miami. Elizabeth says, that’s fantastic, and he says he knows. And apparently, it’s exclusive. He’s one of five doctors here that they tapped to go. She says, congratulations, and he says he’s really excited. Brad listens from around the corner.

On the air, Lois says, if they’re like her, always running from one thing to the next – work, family, maybe a night out with the girls. You’re looking for a shortcut to look and feel your best. Is she right? Haven says, absolutely, and how can Deception help with that? Lois says she’s so glad Haven asked. Their new cream dabber makeup, Deception Color Eyes, Cheeks, and Lips is the perfect solution. This unique and versatile and revolutionary product does exactly what it says… As she talks, Haven goes to the side and tells Maxie and Brook, they know how much she loves their product and how much she loves having them here… Maxie says, they love being here, and Haven says, Lois has 20 more minutes in her segment, and she hopes they make their number. Lois says, you can fit it in your purse, or you could put it right into your pocket. Haven thanks her and says she just loves the new product. Why don’t they take a caller? She welcomes the caller and asks how Deception has inspired them, and the caller says she loves Haven, and loves Home & Heart, and she loves Deception, especially The Deceptor. Fine lines and wrinkles, gone. Lois says she knows that voice. That is Francesca DiFrancenzi from her neighborhood. She thanks Franny for calling in and says she loves hearing her voice. Franny says she’s not loving the sound of Lois’s voice. She called to call Lois out. Haven suggests she call out which Deception product she likes best, and Franny says, all the girls were so proud of Lois when she landed this gig. They threw her a party. They even let Tony G.’s wife bring her macaroni salad… the one with the mayonnaise? Lois makes a face, and Franny says, and they ate it – for her. And now she’s talking different. She ditched her accent. Why? Is she ashamed of where she comes from?

Sonny asks if Kristina can hear him and Alexis says, she has to talk to them. Please. Kristina looks at her, and Sonny says, she had them worried for a minute. Alexis says she’s sorry about the verdict, and Kristina says, that’s it. It’s over? Alexis says, yes. There is no legal recourse. Kristina says, okay, and they stand up.

In the hallway, Molly tells TJ that she’s sorry, and he says, for what? The verdict? She says, for the verdict and everything. She knows he’s hurting right now. He says, is she? How does she feel about the verdict? Be honest with him. Don’t tell him what she thinks he wants to hear. She says she thinks nobody knows what happened in that hotel room except Ava and Kristina. She thinks Ava is a despicable person, but she doesn’t think Ava pushed Kristina out the window. Yes, she thinks it was an accident. He says he didn’t ask her what she thought. He asked her what she felt. And based on what she just told him, he thinks she feels satisfied with the verdict. He’s glad she got what she wanted. He walks away, and Kristina is there. She asks what TJ meant when he said Molly got what she wanted. What exactly did she want?

Brad gives some paperwork to Portia and says, sorry it took so long. She thanks him and says, but in the future, he doesn’t have to hand deliver lab results. As a matter of fact, she wishes he wouldn’t. He says he wouldn’t have, but he wanted to talk to her about something. She says she doesn’t have time, and he says he’ll be quick. The lab could use someone knowledgeable about advances in virology diagnoses. She tells him, get to the point, and he says he thinks he should go to the symposium in Miami. She says, the symposium is for doctors, but he says, there’s a lecture series on this very subject. The test results she’s holding would have been expedited with that knowledge. She says, that might be true, but it doesn’t change the fact that GH is only allotted a certain amount of resources… for doctors. He says he’ll pay his own way. She can even take the fee out of his salary. She says, he’s wasting his time. He’s wasting her time. He’s wasting the lab’s time. Stella comes by and stops to listen at a distance, and Portia says, and they both know the real reason he wants to go to this conference, and it’s not because of work. He says he just wants to become a better viral diagnostician, but she says, he found out that Lucas is going, didn’t he? He says he still thinks it would be a good idea if he went, and she says, this conference is vital to this hospital, and it’s too vital for him to use to repair a personal relationship. Now if he doesn’t mind, she needs to get back to work. He walks away, and Stella tells Portia that she just made a big mistake.

Trina tells Kai, last semester, she had to take a break from school for personal reasons, but the opportunity to be in Donahue’s class is what got her back here. This is her Northeast Classic. He asks how he can make it up to her, and she says, he took this class because he saw it as a challenge. He wanted to win. He loves to win. She just wishes he hadn’t won her over by telling her that he cared about this class. He says he does care. This isn’t about winning. He loves learning about art with her. He never studied Black artists before this project. She helped him use a different part of his brain for once. She says she’s glad that her passion provided an amusing sidetrack while he’s going to the NFL, but right now, she’s trying to salvage this presentation without him. He says he wishes she wouldn’t talk about football like it’s something stupid, and she says she doesn’t think it’s stupid. She might not get it, but everybody in her life, including her best friend, are into football. He says, exactly. We can’t all be wrong, can we? She says she understands it’s a passion. Football means to him what art means to her. He says he knows, and she says, so just give her the notes so she can put this together and present it herself. She’s sure he’ll still get his A. His phone trills and he says he’s late for a meeting with his coach. She says, he’d better get going. Good luck. She really hopes everything works out for him. She walks out of the room.

Ava tells Sonny that she’ll be by to pick up Avery, and he says, don’t test him. She says, the trial’s over. They share custody. She wants to see her daughter and he has no grounds to keep Avery from her. He says, Avery is better off without her as a mother, and she asks if Avery said that. Alexis tells him, whatever he’s about to say, don’t say it, but Ric says, please do. Threatening to indoctrinate Avery against her mother will only help him win custody. Sonny says, the answer is no, and Ava says, look her in the eye and tell her that her daughter hasn’t asked for her. Avery needs her mother, and he knows it. Sonny tells Alexis, let’s go, and Ric says he’ll just file an emergency order and have Avery removed today, maybe permanently. Alexis says, knock it off. He won. Take his win and go. Have some semblance of grace. Ava says she’s just trying to do for Avery what Alexis should have done for Kristina many moons ago and get her away from Sonny.

Molly says she’s lost so much. She just wants to make peace with what’s happened. Kristina says, peace? There can be no peace. Ava killed her child, their child, and she got away with it. Molly says she knows that’s how Kristina sees it, but Kristina says, that’s the only way to see it. Molly says, but the facts… and Kristina says, the fact is, Ava pushed her through a window. She almost died. Their baby did. Molly says she knows it’s easier when there’s someone to blame. She’s wanted that for so long, too, but after hearing everything in that courtroom, she believes neither Kristina nor Ava are to blame. It was an accident. Kristina says, so essentially, Molly believes Ava’s version of events over hers.

Brad looks at some lab results, and says, this is not what Stella meant by being a better person. Blackmailing his way to Miami isn’t it, so he’s not going to do it. He brings the paper over to the paper shredder and says he’s not going to do it… Unless… He looks at his phone and says, the weather in Miami… February… 70s and sunny? That’s beach weather. Fun in the sun weather. Fun in the sun with Lucas weather. If only he can convince Portia to make it happen. He looks at the paper again.

As they walk down the hall, Stella says she couldn’t help but notice Portia’s chat with Brad, and Portia says she still can’t believe he’s working here again. Stella asks why he was allowed back in the lab, and Portia says, because he was Britt’s best friend and Dr. Randolph hired him back for sentimental reasons. Stella asks if he’s done anything questionable or if any of his work has been suspect, and Portia says, no. But it’s hard to forgive and it’s hard to forget the things he’s done. Stella says she understands how hard it is to trust Brad. She was there when everyone found out what he’d done to little Wiley Corinthos. Portia says, when he tried to swap a dead baby for a live one and pass it off as his own, and Stella says, Brad did his time for that and as hard as it is to believe, he’s trying to be a better man. Portia says, the bar is really low. She’s surprised Stella is standing up for Brad. Stella says, this isn’t about Brad. She’s looking out for Portia. Portia asks what she means, and Stella says, she’s too open in her dislike for him. Portia asks what she’s supposed to do. Wave pompoms? Do cartwheels around here? Stella says, she can be professional. She’s Chief of Staff. She needs to rise above her dislike for any of her staff. At the very least, seem impartial. Think about that. Stella leaves.

Lucas finds TJ in the breakroom and says he thought TJ would be at the courthouse. TJ says he was, and Lucas says he takes it things didn’t go the way TJ wanted them to. TJ says, no, and Lucas says, if he’d rather be by himself… TJ says he thought about going home, but all that would do is remind him that Molly isn’t there anymore. Lucas says, if it’s not any of his business, tell him, but why is Molly… TJ says, they separated. She left. Lucas says he’s so sorry, and TJ says, his daughter’s dead and his relationship might as well be, but Ava Jerome just keeps trucking along, path of destruction in her wake. But hey, so what? Lucas says, Ava… and TJ says he shouldn’t be talking like that to Lucas, but Lucas says, it’s fine. They’re not close. TJ can say whatever he wants about her, about anything. TJ says he doesn’t want to be a total downer, and Lucas says, they’re members of the same club. But one thing he’s learned is, you can never predict how people are going to cope with loss. Some people scream, others withdraw, some people kidnap his nephew’s baby and pass it off as they one they adopted. TJ says he hears what Lucas is saying. He just can’t let go of what happened and Molly can. Lucas says, it’s got to be hard for both of them, and TJ says he just feels like Molly is sharing her grief with anyone but him. He’s so angry, he’s terrified it’s going to consume him, so that’s why he’s here today. He wants to work and forget. Lucas says he thinks that might be a bad idea.

Franny says, the lips match the words, but that is not Lois’s voice, and Haven says she thinks they should just move on to another call. Franny says she thinks Lois has changed because she’s there breathing the rarified air of the ritzy Quartermaines. Lois says, they’ve known each other forever. They know each other’s secrets and heartaches. And if the way she’s talking has caused Franny to assume she’s ashamed of where she comes from – she switches to her normal voice – then this fancy pants way of talking has got to go. Brook says, you go, ma, and Lois says she loves her family. All eight million of them, she loves her people. But right now, she loves Franny most of all, because she’s reminded Lois to be proud of who she is, and no matter where she is, she loves where she comes from. Bensonhurst forever. Franny says, that’s my girl, and asks if everybody is seeing this. Lois is back. Lois says, that voice was a cosmetic choice. It was a deception, and the only deception cosmetic choice she should be pushing is Deception Cosmetics. Is Franny still with her? Franny says she is, and Lois says, good, because she knows Franny is one crazy busy woman, and Deception Color Eyes, Cheeks, and Lips is going to be a game changer for her. As Lois continues, Brook looks at her tablet, and Maxie says, tell her how their sales are doing. Brook says, they’re skyrocketing, and Maxie asks when their sales went up. Brook says, when her ma started talking like herself again, and Maxie says, she means their problem this whole time was they should have let Lois be herself? Brook says, it was granny’s idea for Lois to use a professional accent, and Maxie says she’s not going to be the one to tell Tracy that she was wrong. Haven says, it’s so great to have Lois here, and at this time, they want to welcome Pearl’s Picks with their favorite fashion/beauty guru Pearl. Pearl thanks Haven and says, coming up next, her top ten must haves and a deal on the original Deception favorite. She picks up The Deceptor. Can they guess what it is? Haven says she can. The Deceptor. She’s been using The Deceptor and can see real results. Lois says, they love to hear that, and Brook asks Maxie how the sales are now. Maxie says, they surpassed their target number.

Alexis says, when it comes to parenting, Ava is in no position to throw stones. The only reason she’s free today is out of sheer luck. Ric says, twelve impartial jurors decided Ava’s fate today. Not her, not Sonny. They chose to believe his client’s story over her daughter’s. Alexis says, they’re talking about parenting. Oh, she sees where she lost him. He says, that’s what’s really tearing Sonny up, isn’t it? The fact that people chose to believe Ava’s story over Kristina’s. Alexis says, again, not the topic, and Ric says, isn’t it? Sonny walks around like Father of the Year, but they all know, he’s never going to stop being a criminal. And that is why Ava’s daughter is always going to be in danger. Sonny says he’s not discussing his daughter with Ric, but Ric says he’s Ava’s attorney, so he’s afraid Sonny’s got to. Ava tells Sonny, please, be reasonable. Not for her sake, but for Avery’s. He knows how much they love each other. She knows he doesn’t like it, but they do. She’s just asking him to think of their daughter and what she needs.

Kristina says, who the hell is Molly to decide what was an accident? Molly wasn’t there. She fell three stories out of a window. That was her. Molly says, Kristina’s right. She wasn’t there. Kristina says, but Molly still blames her. Molly blames her because she went to Ava’s hotel room, even though Molly told her not to. Molly says, yes. It happened because Kristina confronted Ava. It happened because Ava pulled on her arm. It happened because there was a duffle bag on the floor. Kristina says, no. It happened because Ava pushed her. Molly tells her, so she said, and Kristina says, that’s what happened. Molly says she knows Kristina believes that, but she believes no one is to blame. Blaming Kristina is the same thing as blaming Ava, which is the same thing as blaming the duffel bag. Nobody could have predicted what was going to happen when Kristina went to that hotel room. So she’s sorry, because at times, she’s blamed Kristina. Kristina says, at least that’s good to hear, and Molly tells her that she shouldn’t have said the things she did at Irene’s grave. That wasn’t right. Kristina says, it didn’t help to hear Molly’s dad recount all the painful details while torturing her on the stand, and Molly says she knows. She just wants them to move on. Kristina says, move on? There is no moving on. Molly says she has to. She’s lost her baby. She’s lost her sister. She’s lost… She needs this to be over. She walks away, but Kristina follows her. Kristina says, maybe Molly can stuff it down, but for her, it’s not that easy. Molly tells her that she didn’t say it was, and Kristina says, Molly makes it look easy. Molly says, if Kristina wants to hang on to this anger and bitterness the rest of her life, have fun, but she’s not going to do it. Kristina says, of course (🍷) she’s not. You know why? She’s too afraid to fight for justice for their daughter. Molly says she has been fighting. She’s been fighting for months for Ava to be brought to justice, to survive her own grief to keep from going insane. She’s tired. She just wants… Kristina says she knows what Molly wants. She heard her the first time. She got it. Molly wants peace. Of course (🍷) she does.

Haven thanks Lois and Deception, and Lois thanks Haven for having them again on Home & Heart. Haven says, they’ll see everyone next time… and Lois says she wants to throw one last shout out to her friend, Franny DiFrancenzi. Haven thanks Franny for calling, and Lois says, Franny reminded her, you can take the broad out of Bensonhurst, but you can’t take Bensonhurst out of the broad. Haven says, they’ll see everyone next time on Home & Heart, and the producer says, and we’re out. Haven says, Lois did great, and Lois thanks her. They walk off the set, and Brook says, good news. Maxie says, they sold more in the last twenty minutes than they did in the first forty. They surpassed their target number. Brook says, it’s the best selling Home & Heart segment they’ve ever had. For whatever reason. Lois says she wonders what could have happened in the last twenty minutes, and Haven says she wonders. Whatever it was, Home & Heart loves it. Home & Heart wants more of it. She tells Lois, welcome back, and goes off with the producer. Lois takes the tablet and walks toward the makeup artist. She says, my, my, my, my, my. Would you look at that? Record sales. She tells the makeup artist, how do you like them apples? and walks out with Brook and Maxie.

Trina leaves a message for Ava that she’s sorry, but got stuck finishing her art presentation alone, so she won’t be coming in for the rest of the week. Again, she’s really sorry to let Ava down.

Portia goes to the lab and asks if Brad has a moment. He asks if there’s a problem with the test results, but she says, it was perfect. As a matter of fact, all the work he’s done since he’s been reinstated is exemplary. He says he’s pleased his efforts are living up to GH’s standards, and she says, actually, that’s why she’s here. Maybe she was a little bit hasty in her decision making before. He made some excellent points about improving lab efficiency. So she’s changed her mind. He can go to the symposium.

TJ says, the last time he and Lucas talked, they agreed it’s good to use work to get out of your head, but Lucas says, that was then. Before the verdict came in and before TJ and Molly. What they do requires they be on their game 100%. One wrong move, one bad decision, could put their patients at risk, and right now, with things so raw… TJ says, he can’t work and can’t go home. What is he supposed to do? Lucas suggests they go to the boxing gym. They can spar and hit the bag, blow off some steam. It would be a good outlet for some of TJ’s anger. TJ says, that sounds perfect, but he has a lot of rage right now, and Lucas says, okay, so then just the bag. They laugh, and TJ says he’s just trying to figure out how to navigate all of this loss without Molly. Lucas says, he doesn’t have to do it alone. Not tonight.

Sonny says, Ava can come see Avery tomorrow afternoon. He’ll be there to supervise. Ric says, Sonny has zero grounds supervising, but Ava stops him and says she’ll be there. She looks forward to seeing her daughter. Sonny and Alexis leave.

Molly says she should have known Kristina would never understand, but Kristina says, no. She understands. Alexis and Sonny come into the hallway, and Kristina says, Molly is able to find peace and move on because she was never really Adela’s mother. Alexis jets over and says, Molly… but Molly says she’s done. We’re done. She walks off and Alexis looks at Kristina.

On Monday, Cyrus tells Dex that he wasn’t there to see Lulu on Halloween; Laura says, it’s not going to work; Molly says, if Alexis sides with her, she’ll lose Kristina; Kristina asks if Sonny has any ideas, and Sonny says he just might.

What I Watched Today

(The whole GH enchilada on Fridays; the other days, who knows?)

General Hospital

Dante is waiting for Sonny in his office. He says he didn’t know where else to go. He had no one else to talk to about Lulu waking up.

Isaiah looks into Jordan’s office and says he must be in the wrong place. She tells him, says who?

Kristina goes to Deception, and Natalia says, Maxie is gone for the day. Kristina says she’s not here to see Maxie. She’s here to see Natalia.

TJ thanks Curtis for coming over, and Curtis asks, what’s up? TJ says, see for himself, and Curtis comes in. He says, Molly moved out? and TJ says, she’s gone.

Molly tells Alexis that she has a car full of boxes to unload and wants to get it done, but Alexis says, Molly doesn’t want to think about her heartbreak. Molly says, some people don’t think she has a heart, and Alexis says, she has a beautiful heart that’s breaking. Molly says she doesn’t want to think, and Alexis says, she’s grieving and should take a break, but Molly says, if she stops moving, she’ll fall apart.

Jack discusses some WSB business with Colette, when Jason comes to his office. Jack says, the answer to their prayers just walked in.

Anna asks if Spinelli is nervous, and Spinelli says he’s bracing for impact. Does she think this is wise? She says, which part? and he says, the entire operation. They want the same thing, to find Charlotte. Anna says, Lulu has been separated from her daughter for too long, when there’s a knock at the door. Carly asks why she’s here. Why is Spinelli here? Anna says, they need to step up the search. They have to bring Charlotte back. Carly says she’s not sure how she can help, and Anna asks if she’s willing. Carly says, of course (🍷). She’d do anything to help. Anna says, including planting a bug on Jack Brennan?

Isaiah asks what floor he’s on, and Jordan says, five. He says he’s looking for the notary, and she says, it’s three doors down to the left. There’s no sign, just a sticker with a surfboard on it. He says, that screams notary, and she asks if he’s on GH business. He asks how she knows, and she says her son works there and she recognizes the header on the stationery. He says, it’s his employment agreement, and she says, so he’s decided to accept the offer. He says, it looks like he’ll be sticking around, but she says she can’t let him sign that contract.

Sonny says, Lulu was determined to get out, and Dante says, Cyrus was hanging around. Sonny says, she has good instincts, worthy of the Spencer name, and Dante says, Luke would be proud. Sonny asks how Dante is doing now that Lulu is awake, and Dante says he’s trying to figure out what life looks like now. He was already trying and now Lulu is back. Sonny is the king of blending families. He’s got kids from different relationships, and he kept them together. How did he balance it? Rocco is over the moon, and Danny and Scout are grief stricken.

Jack introduces Jason to his Deputy Chief, Colette. He hopes Jason is taking him up on his offer. They were just discussing how the WSB needs new blood. Jason says he’s not here about that, and Jack asks Colette to give him and Jason a moment. Colette leaves, and Jack says, Jason has his attention. Jason says he’s not sure if Jack heard, but Lulu Spencer woke up. Jack says, the family must be thrilled, and Jason says, Charlotte needs to come home and see her mother. Jack says he swears he doesn’t know where Valentin is, and Jason tells him, stop lying.

Carly says, Anna is out of her mind. Why does Anna think she can get near Jack? Anna says, she’s one of the few he trusts, and Carly asks Spinelli to tell Anna that she’s crazy, but Spinelli says, she has a point. The man has taken a shine to her. Carly asks why they think Jack knows where Valentin is, and Anna says, Spinelli has been looking for him. Spinelli says, it’s like Valentin vanished into thin air, and Anna says, no one disappears that smoothly unless they’re getting help from a powerful man like Brennan. Carly asks if she’s saying Jack helped Valentin escape, and Anna says, Valentin and the WSB have ties to Pikeman and it’s motivation to keep Valentin gone. Carly wonders if she’s asked Jack, and Anna says, Jack claims he doesn’t know where Valentin is. Carly says, Jack is a friend and he’s done more than one favor for her. He saved all of them. Anna says, he can be charming and useful when he decides to be, but make no mistake, favors and information are his currency. Spinelli says, if Georgie was forced to go on the run, he would do what it takes to find her. He’s sure Carly would do the same if it was Josslyn or Donna. Carly says, of course (🍷). Fine. She’ll do it. Give her the bug. But just so they’re clear, she’s doing it to prove Anna wrong. Anna says, understood.

Kristina says she wants to thank Natalia for her help in the courtroom. She knows that she swerved into Natalia’s lane. If a jury heard what really happened, it would have helped the defense. She knows Natalia committed perjury. Natalia says she told the truth as she remembered it, and Kristina says, let her be grateful. Thanks. Natalia says she’s so, so welcome. (I absolutely love Kristina’s coat and can’t take my eyes off of it. I often get distracted by the wardrobe choices.)

TJ tells Curtis that he came home, and Molly was packing. She said she was staying at her mom’s now. She cleared out in the neatest, most orderly, efficient way. He wishes he was surprised. Molly’s not grieving at all. It’s like when Irene died. She mourned at the funeral and moved on. She calmly packed up and left. Curtis says he’s sorry, but TJ says he’s not being fair. Curtis says, maybe not, but it’s how he feels.

Alexis says she gets it. Molly is doing whatever and keeps doing it, so she feels like her life isn’t spinning out of control. Molly says, if she stays in motion, she can gradually pick up the pieces. Alexis says she does the same thing. She’s Molly’s mom and will support her no matter what. She loves Molly, but Molly also needs to hear none of this is her fault. Molly says she hears it, but she doesn’t know if she believes it.

Jason tells Jack that Charlotte’s family will do whatever it takes to bring her home. Lulu is awake and desperate to see her daughter. The Spencers will weaponize everything at their disposal to locate Valentin. Jack said, if Anna found him, it would not go well for her. He wants Jack to get in touch with Valentin. He’ll meet Valentin wherever he wants, Valentin gives him Charlotte, and he’ll bring her home. It’s not a trick. He won’t even touch Valentin. He’ll bring Charlotte to her mother and Valentin can go free. He’s offering Jack an out. Take it. There’s a knock at the door, and Colette reminds Jack that they have a meeting. Jack tells Jason, always a pleasure, and Jason says, think about what he said. He leaves, and Jack says, Colette’s timing is impeccable. She asks if Jack got anything useful out of Jason, and Jack says he did. Now he has to figure out how to play it.

Jordan says she can’t let Isaiah accept the offer until she looks it over. She knows contracts and knows GH. She has access to other information. He asks if she’s using her position to help a civilian, and she says, unofficially, she can tell him that the hospital is due a windfall of federal money when the development plan gets the go ahead. She looks through the papers and says she also knows GH can afford to pay up, but they can’t afford to lose a surgeon like him. He asks why she’s doing this, and she says, maybe she likes the idea of him sticking around. He says, maybe? and she says, maybe she feels like she owes him one.

Sonny asks what it’s like, all three of them together, and Dante says, it’s like the pieces of a puzzle fitting back together. It’s an old one, but everything is different. Things have changed. Danny and Scout are a big part of Rocco’s life. Sonny asks if he thinks they resent Rocco, and Dante says, Rocco is worried they do. Sonny says, it’s tough to balance happiness and grief, and Dante says, Lulu will be spending time at the Quartermaines and he doesn’t know how to broach it when she’ll want Rocco to spend nights with her. Sonny says, he can’t solve everything at once. He’ll lose his mind. Dante says he feels like that’s already happened.

When Carly arrives at Jack’s office, Colette is sitting in his chair. She introduces herself as his second in command, and they shake hands. Carly asks, where’s Jack? and Colette says, he’s finishing a meeting in the war room. Is she here to cause problems or help solve them? Carly says she’s here as a friend. Jack comes back and tells Colette that he’d like a moment with Carly. She tells him not to allow himself to get distracted for too long, and leaves. Jack asks, to what does he owe the pleasure? and she says she came to talk about Lulu. He says, it’s wonderful that she’s awake. Jason stopped by to inform him. She says, then Jason probably asked him the same thing she’s about ask, and he says, the answer is the same. He doesn’t know where Valentin Cassadine is.

Jason goes to Anna’s place and tells her that he went to see Jack. He told Jack that all he wants is Charlotte. Whatever Valentin does after that is none of his business. Spinelli comes out from another room and says, the equipment is a go. Jason asks, what equipment? and Spinelli says he was setting up a server. Jason says, she called Spinelli for that? and Anna admits he’s helping to set up a bug in Brennan’s office. Jason says, Brennan is probably the hardest person to bug, and Anna says, that’s why she asked Carly. Jack likes and trusts her. Jason asks why she put Carly in a dangerous situation, and Anna says, she was married to Sonny and Carly is a grown woman with a mind of her own. Spinelli says, they’re on the same side, in pursuit of the same thing – bringing Charlotte home to her mom.

Curtis says, they always wind up mad at the people they care about. The way TJ feels is normal. Don’t judge himself and don’t get trapped in it. Eventually, he’ll remember who Molly is. TJ says he doesn’t want to feel indifferent to Molly. She’s been his world for so long. Is he not supposed to care anymore? Curtis says, not at all. He and TJ’s mother reached a place where he thinks they’re friends who can talk to and lean on one another. TJ says, they’re family. They have to get along. Curtis says, there are plenty of families who can’t be in the same room. They made a conscious decision to be friends. Maybe he and Molly will too. Or if they decide it’s temporary and belong together… TJ says he doesn’t think that’s happening, and Curtis says, don’t let his anger put him in a box he can’t get out of.

Molly tells Alexis that she shouldn’t have told Kristina not to see Ava. Kristina always does the opposite of what she tells her. Alexis says, Kristina is responsible for her own actions, and Molly says she’s holding herself responsible for hers. The last time she saw Sam, she was fighting with Kristina instead of telling Sam how much she loved her and how proud she was that Sam was Lulu’s donor. It’s her fault she and TJ are breaking up. She couldn’t grieve the baby the way he needed her to. She was too focused on controlling her emotions and throwing herself into work. She couldn’t be there for the boy she’s loved since she was 16, the man she was going to spend her entire life with. It’s her fault.

Kristina tells Natalia that she knows what they both said and asks if they agree on what happened the night of the accident. Are they on the same page? Natalia asks why it matters, and Kristina says she needs to know that what she remembers is accurate. If it’s not, then she’s not remembering what happened at Ava’s hotel suite. She got on the stand and swore Ava caused her to fall out the window. She needs to know what happened and needs to know Ava is lying. Natalia says, they just want justice for Kristina’s child, and she admires Kristina for telling her story. Ric was just waiting for her to take the stand and testify. It was a beautiful act of maternal courage. There’s no way she would let Ric undercut Kristina’s testimony. A, who hasn’t cried while they’re driving? and B, the whole nightmare started with her horrible recording. Kristina says, exactly. Ava recorded her. Natalia says, it wouldn’t have happened if she hadn’t said those words. She’d do anything to take it back. The things she said were horrible about anyone, let alone her own daughter and the woman she loves. She’ll literally regret it until the day she dies.

Jack says he would help Carly if he could, and she asks if she could have some water. He says, of course (🍷), and while he’s getting it, she looks around and puts the bug under his desk. He gives her the glass and says he has to be careful bending the rules. She says she’s the one he’s bent them for the most. It’s been a day. She doesn’t know how to face Lulu. Waking up after all those years, it’s like a long nightmare, and now she’s slammed with another one. He says, she has family support, and Carly says, when the explosion happened, she and Lulu hadn’t been close in a long time. She’s hoping to change that. He asks if that’s why she’s desperate to fix things, to make up for lost time, and she asks if he’s a therapist now. He says, reading people is a requirement of his job, and she says she’s sorry for asking so much. He always makes the impossible possible and she wants him to know that she appreciates him. He’s a good man. She thanks him and leaves. Jack says, if only he was as good a man as she believes. (Mrs. Jack Brennan… Mrs. J. Brennan… Mrs. Brennan… Theresa Brennan… 💘)

Anna says, it’s not like she held a gun to Carly’s head. Spinelli was here. Spinelli says, Anna was straightforward, and Carly was willing to tackle the assignment. Jason says, she thinks Jack is telling the truth. That’s why they should have left her out of it. She believes Jack is someone she can trust and they all know he’s not. Anna says, she’s not in danger, and Jason says, not yet, but what happens when Jack finds out she planted the bug?

Jordan says, the woman whose life Isaiah saved is the ex-wife of a detective she used to work with. He says he met Dante when the PCPD was trying to find out who tried to kill him, and she says, Lulu’s absence was tough on the family. They were scared they were going to lose her, and because of him, they didn’t. He asks if this is her way of saying thanks, and she says, it’s the least he’s owed. He says, she saved his life, and she says, it’s her job to serve the community. He says his job is to serve patients his, and she says she guesses they’re both good at what they do.

Alexis tells Molly that no one could have stopped Kristina from confronting Ava, and they had no control over how Ava would react. They may never know what really happened, but whatever it was, they couldn’t have stopped it, so let it go. Molly says, it’s hard, and Alexis says, it’s especially hard because she grew up watching her mother try to control the world. Look how that turned out, at the bottom of a bottle. Molly says, Alexis climbed her way out, and Alexis says, so will she. She understands Molly’s last words to Sam weren’t what she wanted, and she’s sorry Molly has to carry that. Know that Kristina holds a lot of blame for the rift between them. She tried to do what she could to help them both, but when she asks Molly to make peace, she’s not saying Kristina is right. Does Molly understand? Molly says she does.

TJ says he’s upset, but Curtis is right, and Curtis says, later on, he’ll see even more clearly and figure out what he really wants. In the meantime, he thinks they should hook this place up. TJ asks if he means move things around, and Curtis says, they could start with a chair. They can go shopping. It will be great. TJ has seen his place. Does he think it was all Portia? Curtis picks one of Molly’s journals up off the floor and asks if it’s TJ’s. TJ says, it’s Molly’s old journal, and Curtis says he’s got matches… He’s just messing with TJ. They can drop it off at Alexis’s house and leave. Whatever TJ Is comfortable with.

Dante says, it feels wrong to be the slightest bit happy, and Sonny says he gets it. Dante says, Rocco is on cloud nine, and Sonny says, they’ve been given a miracle. Dante wonders how he can help Rocco navigate when he has no idea how to deal with it himself, and Sonny says, two things can be true at once, joy and grief. Dante and the kids need to allow themselves to feel it, but also know it can change on any given day. He remembers family dinners… Dante says, where Sonny did the cooking, and he pretended to help. He’d hide so he didn’t have to chop onions. Sonny says, Dante should have his own version with Rocco, Danny, and Scout. Not just dinner, but being together. Dante asks if he thinks there’s a world where Lulu fits into that, and Sonny says he does. Just because he’s welcoming Lulu back into their lives doesn’t mean he won’t miss Sam. Dante says, sometimes Sonny gives not terrible advice, and Sonny says, he has his moments, and they hug.

Carly comes back and says, mission accomplished… What’s wrong? Anna says, Jason isn’t happy about the bugging, and Spinelli says, bugging. It sounds like a horror movie… I’m not helping. Jason tells Carly, stay away from Jack, especially if he finds out about the bug. Carly says, he’s not going to find the bug, but Jason says, it’s the WSB. They sweep for them all the time. Anna says, it’s standard procedure, and Carly says, it can’t be traced back to them, can it? Spinelli says, it’s a very low probability, and Carly says, Jack isn’t the monster they think he is. She knows him. Jason says, nobody does. Spinelli searched for him and what did he come up with? Spinelli says, the man is a ghost, and Jason says, that’s how lethal Jack is, to cover his tracks to that extent. The last thing any of them need is for him to know they had anything to do with planting the bug.

Isaiah tells Jordan that medicine is his passion. Helping people is what he loves doing. It feels wrong negotiating for more money to provide a basic human right. She says, that’s why writers and athletes have agents. So they’re paid to do something they’d do for free. He’s helping, but it’s a job he does well and should be compensated for. He says, now that he’s stateside, he’s back to life’s amenities, and she says, her job is to size up clients. In this case, she’s doing it for a friend. He says he heard friends go out to dinner from time to time. Maybe they should try it. She says, maybe they should.

Alexis says, Molly and TJ had a lot of years invested in their relationship. She thinks it’s too soon to know for sure if it’s ended, but if it has, Molly needs to take the time to grieve it and remember there was so much good about it. It’s not her fault it didn’t work. It takes two. Molly says she wants TJ to be happy and have a place he’s not afraid to come home to and live a life he loves. Alexis says, it’s okay for her to want that for herself too, and Molly says she does. She doesn’t know what that looks like, but she believes it’s out there. Alexis says she knows it is, when there’s a knock at the door. Molly answers it, and invites TJ in. He gives her the journal and says, she dropped this. He figured she’d want it. She thanks him and says she could have picked it up. He says he didn’t read it, and she says she knows. That’s not who he is. He says he’s glad she feels that she still knows him, and she says she thinks she’ll always know who he is and she will always love him. He says he’ll always love her too. Take care of herself. She says, him too, and he leaves. She watches through the window, then cries. Alexis puts her arm around Molly.

Natalia says she’d do anything to take back her words, but all she can do is learn from it. She’s not that person anymore. She grew to be better. Kristina says she certainly knows what that’s like to wish you could go back. She wishes every day that she didn’t go to Ava’s room or that Ava didn’t answer the door or that a fire alarm went off or anything. She was starting to think the baby was hers. Not just hers, but hers and Allie’s. They were envisioning a whole future life with their baby girl. Natalia says, that would have made the baby her granddaughter, and she laughs. She says, believe it or not, she would have loved that. Kristina says she believes her, when Kristina’s phone rings. She answers and says, thanks for letting her know. She tells Natalia, the jury is back.

Colette says, so that’s Carly, and Jack says, she’s a spitfire. Colette says, she’s a distraction. His duty is to the Bureau, not to the citizens of Port Charles. He says he’s aware, and she says, the drone strike and the explosion suggest otherwise. Not to mention what’s happening with Sidwell. Are there any updates? He says, it’s above her clearance level, and she says, he’s a brilliant agent and she’s lucky to be working with him… He says, but? and she says, be careful. Using his power for personal matters is the quickest way to get burned. He asks if that’s all, and she leaves. He makes a call and says, it’s me.

Spinelli says, Brennan is making a call, and they hear Jack say, Lulu’s awake. He has an offer to bring the child back. What do they want him to do?

Tomorrow, Brook tells Maxie that she has to bring out the big guns; Kai asks how he can make it up to Trina; Lucas thinks something might be a bad idea; Stella says, Portia just made a big mistake; and the verdict is in.

🧂 Adding More Salt…

In case you want even more of Angie getting the boot. I’d liked her, too, but Lisa was right, she skips over her instigation.

Yeah, yeah. What I just said. That woman was winding up.

Moving on.

👒 Charming Once More…

The usual suspects are back, but I guess no one told the digital TV guide people that Kathryn Dennis is no longer on the show. A lot of it centered around a big party for a horse race called the Carolina Cup. In Venita’s interview, she said, the Carolina Cup was technically a horserace, but it was really a Lilly Pulitzer fashion show. She said she had no memories of it because she’d been too lit. Alrighty then.

The best part of tonight’s episode was Shep trying to make conversation with Taylor at the party and Taylor being polite, but not having it. Or setting boundaries as she put it. He was hella uncomfortable. She has a new boyfriend now and I’m glad she’s moved on. Shep treated her horribly. There was a lot of whining on Shep’s part because he’d been to some kind of psychedelic therapy retreat, and the other guys had hurt his feelings. Whitney was nowhere to be found in this episode, but Patricia made an appearance, and it made me sad to think about Michael. Hopefully, he’s now the one being served martinis. Angelic martinis of course.

As of this posting, there were no recaps, but there was this. It seems all the guys had been working on themselves over Charm’s hiatus. Except for JT, which is probably why he quit mid-season.

Newcomer Molly was definitely a breath of fresh air. In her interview, she talked about how a thyroid condition caused her weight to fluctuate. When she gained 45 pounds, she lost her modeling career, and it had been a mind f***.  She looked absolutely perfect, so I guess she must be in a good space right now.

👠 Straight From the Marge’s Mouth…

Apparently, it was just bickering amongst Housewives.

🍸 The Latest On the Rules…

Unless you live in a bank vault, you probably knew this. It’s going to be a whole new day on VPR.

You can’t fire her. She quits.

Andy approves.

She’d better not exit and it would not be a good thing. What LVP needs is a new brood to take under her wing, and I’m thinking this might be that. I wasn’t that thrilled with Vanderpump Villa – too much of a distasteful cast and not enough Lisa – but I might give it another go since Stassi has signed on.

Pretty much everyone saw this coming. Except for Sandoval, who was probably looking in the mirror practicing real tears. You’d think in the wake of this, they might have gotten on their game, but it looks like they just gave up. I am no good with a slow bartender. The slower you are, the lower your tip gets.

🪃 Karma Happens…

Sometimes we actually get to see the reaping what we sow principle in action.

❄️ Let It Snow…

Come on by tomorrow for soap and Friday’s free-for-all. Until then, stay safe; stay considering volunteering during the holiday season; and stay knowing two things can be true joy and grief and allowing yourself to feel it.
