What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

Gregory sees Alexis at the pool area and says he missed her this morning at the editorial board meeting. She says, sorry about that, but she had a very good reason. She got an on the record quote from Judge Wright for his op-ed piece. He thanks her and asks why she’s at the pool; a little lunchtime swim? She says, God forbid. She has a lunch date. He says, him too.

Molly makes TJ move a vase of flowers around and tells him, make sure there are nice napkins on the table too. He asks, how nice? and she says, come on. This is important. They want to make a good first impression. He wonders if nicer napkins will make a difference, and she says she knows she’s getting carried away. She just wants everything to be perfect, because today could be the day they meet the woman who will be carrying their child.

Portia peeks in on Curtis’s physical therapy. Therapist Roy suggests a break, but Curtis says he doesn’t need one. Roy says he does. He’s not used a client starting at this pace. Most of them start slower. Curtis says he’s not most people, and Roy says he knows; Curtis is wearing him out. Curtis sees Portia in the doorway.

Brook walks into the pool area, and Nina gets up from her table. She says she’s glad she ran into Brook, and Brook asks, what’s up? Nina says she called Ferncliff to check on Sasha and they wouldn’t tell her anything, but they did tell her that Sasha can no longer have visitors. She’s a little concerned. Brook says, Nina has reason to be. When she saw Sasha the other day, Sasha was in bad shape. Brook is actually really worried about her.

Sonny goes into his office, and Ava is there. She says she needs an update about their daughter, who’s currently being cared for by the nanny from hell. Sonny says, good morning, and she says, please. She’s worried. She can’t stand the thought of Avery in the hands of that criminal. He says, she needs to relax. He has it all under control.

Gabe is standing at the door when Betty brings Avery to Sonny’s penthouse. He asks how Avery’s first day of camp was, and Avery says she loved it. He asks what she did, and Betty says she’s sure Avery could tell him all about it for hours, but they know he’s working, so they’ll leave him to his job. He lets them in, and Dex comes out from around the corner. He and Gabe nod to each other.

Dex phones Sonny and says he followed Betty and Avery back to his penthouse from day camp. Sonny says he doesn’t want Dex to let Avery out of his sight for one second. Let Betty go into the penthouse, do what she needs to do, and go about his business. They need to let Betty think she’s working hard and she’s outsmarting them. Dex says, copy that.

Betty tells Avery, that was a big first day at camp. Why doesn’t she go take a nap? Avery says, naps are for babies. She’s going to watch TV. She picks up the remote and puts the TV on.

Portia says, it looks like Curtis is working really hard, and he says he’s doing what he can, focusing on his upper body, the part that still functions. She tells him that Trina said they spoke and had a really good conversation. As a matter of fact, she called it a breakthrough. Curtis says he wouldn’t go that far. Did she say breakthrough? Portia says, she did. She thinks Trina is finally getting used to the fact she has two dads. He asks if she actually said that, and Portia says, no, but that was her interpretation. But Trina was really happy about the conversation they had and it inspired her. She was hoping they could have a similar conversation. He says, he and Trina don’t have the same issues they do, and she says she knows. He says, so how would they do that? and she says, by starting over.

TJ says, she’s coming, and Kristina stands in front of him so he can see what she’s wearing. He says he liked the other shirt better, and she turns around to change, but he says he’s kidding. She looks perfect. She thanks him, and there’s a knock at the door. He asks if she’s ready, and she says, here we go. They’re going to meet candidate number one. He opens the door, and a woman introduces herself as Andrea. Thomas? He says, yeah, but she can call him TJ, and he shakes her hand. She comes in, and Molly introduces herself. Andrea asks, what happened to her foot? and Molly says, just a stupid fall down the stairs in some ridiculous high heels, but the boot will be long gone by the time the baby arrives. TJ asks if she’d like something to drink, but Andrea says she’s fine. They sit down, and Kristina says she’s sorry if they seem nervous. Andrea is the first candidate they’re interviewing. Andrea says she understands it’s an awkward situation. They’re letting complete strangers into their home, and they’re going to ask some very personal questions. TJ says, before they get to the personal questions, let him tell her a little bit about them. He’s a doctor at GH, Molly is an attorney, working in the DA’s office, so their child will be taken care of financially. When it comes to family, they both have lots of loved ones in town who will love and help them raise their baby. Andrea says, that’s terrific. She hands Molly her résumé, and says she’s married to a great guy, Ben, and they have one child, Andy. She recently lost her job due to cutbacks, and they’re trying to supplement their incomes.

Time passes. TJ asks if there are any health issues in Andrea’s family history, and she says, not much. Her maternal grandfather died of lung cancer, but he was a heavy smoker. He died her senior year of high school, and watching him suffer like that, she’s never had a single cigarette in her life.

More time passes. Molly says, if it turns out Andrea is their surrogate, how would she feel about them attending doctor’s appointments to watch the baby’s progress? Andrea says, it never occurred to her that they wouldn’t be at every single doctor’s appointment. TJ and Molly smile at each other.

Alexis tells Gregory that she has no idea why she said it was a lunch date. It’s really not a date; it’s work related. Esme comes in, and Alexis says, there she is now. Esme says it’s great to see Gregory again, and asks if he’s joining them for lunch. He looks over at Brook, and says, no. He’s having lunch with his family. Enjoy their meal. He leaves, and Alexis and Esme go to their table.

Nina tells Brook that she can’t believe this is happening to Sasha. If she’s in such bad shape, Nina doesn’t get this no visitor’s policy. Wouldn’t it help Sasha to know people are there to support her? Brook says, you would think, but when she saw Sasha the other day, she was really upset and incoherent. It was really painful to watch. It was like she was having a complete break with reality. Nina says she doesn’t get it. Sasha was doing so great. This doesn’t make any sense. Brook says, let’s just hope she’s getting the help she deserves, and looks over at Gregory checking out his phone. She says, if Nina will excuse her, her lunch companion is here, and goes over to Gregory.

Gregory tells Brook, it’s nice to see her. He thought Chase would be coming with her for their lunch. She says, he just texted her that he’s going to be late, so for now, it looks like it’s just the two of them.

Ava says she doesn’t know how Sonny can be so calm, knowing their daughter is with that dangerous woman, but he says, Avery is never going to be alone with Betty. Dex has been tailing her all day. Gabe is outside the door. They’re going to let her go in the penthouse and look for things. Then Dex is going to make his presence known. Ava says she’ll feel so much better when this is over, and he says he will too. But in the meantime, Gabe and Dex are going to make sure Avery is safe. They’re just going to wait for Betty to find what he planted for her.

Brook tells Gregory that she’s so sorry Chase is going to be late. He knows how super dedicated Chase is. He says, no need to apologize. It’s nice seeing Chase so happy being a detective again. He’s proud of the work Chase does. Brook says, her too, and he says, besides, this gives them a chance to get to know each other better. He knows her passion’s in the music business, but she runs social media for Deception. So tell him, what did she study in college?

Esme asks, what’s the purpose of the lunch? What is Alexis trying to figure out about her this time? Alexis says she understands that because of Esme’s experiences with other Cassadines, Esme finds it hard to trust her. What she can tell Esme is that she’s been very upfront about the reasons she hired her. Other than that, she has no agenda. Esme says, Alexis can understand why she’s a little suspicious, and Alexis says she can, but it’s a beautiful day and she didn’t want to have another salad at her desk. Esme says, so Alexis just invited her here because she wanted to get out of the office? and Alexis says, that, and she believes an employer needs to let an employee know when they’re doing a good job. And Esme, as of late, has been doing a good job. She thanks Esme for digging in and trying harder. Esme asks if she really means that.

Andrea says, if TJ and Molly don’t have any other questions, she just wants to assure them that she’s thought about this a lot, and if she was ever going to be a surrogate, it feels like the perfect time. Her child’s just a baby, so he won’t remember it or thinking he’s having a little brother or sister. TJ says, that’s very sensitive of her, and she thanks him. He says, it was nice to meet her. They’ll be in touch. He’ll walk her out. Which in Port Charles means, he’ll walk her to the door. Molly says, it was nice to meet her, and Andrea says, her too. TJ thanks her again, and she leaves. He tells Molly that he liked her… a lot, and Molly says, her too. He says, ready for number two? and she says, number one is going to be hard to beat.

Curtis tells Portia, it’s too much; he can’t do it. She says, what’s too much? and he says, you and me. He’s trying to adapt to life in a wheelchair. He and Trina are starting to figure things out, and he can’t deal with a relationship on top of all that. She says she understands where he’s coming from, but he doesn’t have to learn to live life in a wheelchair all by himself. He has people to lean on. She’s here. She’s right here for him and so is Trina. Roy comes back, and asks if Curtis is ready for round two. Curtis gets his wheelchair in position.

Alexis tells Esme, in her experience, we’re the sum of our parts, and Esme says, which means what? Alexis says, it means people may forgive you, but they’re not going to forget what you’ve done. Esme has had a very high profile, very negative past. She understands Esme may not remember that version of herself, but others will, and may be slow to trust her. Esme says, thanks for the pep talk, and Alexis says, pep talks have chapters. That chapter was about her past. The next chapter is about an opportunity that awaits her. In business, people have to prove themselves, day after day, and every day is an opportunity for her to change the image of what she was before to somebody that can be trusted. Does Esme see what she’s saying? Esme nods, and Alexis says, she got off to a spectacularly bad beginning, but she now seems to have turned a corner and is able to handle this job. Esme thanks her and says she thinks she can. The inner workings of The Invader really interest her; all the moving parts, and how when a story drops, it can change on a dime. It’s really exciting. Can she ask Alexis a question? Alexis says, that depends on what the question is, and Esme says, it’s about her job as editor. Spencer told her that this is a second career for Alexis; that she used to be a bigshot lawyer. Does she ever miss her old life?

Brook repeats Gregory’s question, and says, what did she study in college? She did go to PCU for a year, but it didn’t really work out. He says, that’s too bad. He’s sure his being a professor all those years has made him bias. Has she ever thought about going back and getting her degree? Brook says, college was never really her thing. Let’s just say she had a pretty unconventional childhood. Her parents split when she was pretty young, and she went back and forth a lot, between Brooklyn and upstate New York. He says he’d imagine living with a single mom versus life in a posh family mansion could be challenging for a little girl, and she says, especially with two extremely different extended families. The Cerullos and the Quartermaines. The Cerullos are loving and loud and artsy, and the Quartermaines are intense and loud and business centric. He says he knows. He met her grandmother. She says, right. Her grandmother really gets under his skin, doesn’t she? She has to say, she’s never seen anyone get under her grandmother’s skin like he has. He really pushes her grandmother’s buttons.

TJ welcomes the next candidate, whose name is Chelsea. She says she’s divorced, and she and her ex do a pretty good job co-parenting their two kids. She hands them her résumé and says, she’s in good health. She’ll be honest. She’s doing this to get ahead financially. Although she loves being pregnant, and her kids bring her so much joy. Molly asks how her second pregnancy was different from her first one, and Chelsea says she was so anxious and nervous during her first pregnancy. Every rumble, every bump, she was afraid it wasn’t normal because she’d never been pregnant before, but with baby number two, it was so easy. She was like, she knows what that feeling means now. TJ asks if she’d be open to reading to their baby while she’s pregnant or listening to certain music, and Chelsea says, that’s a total yes. During both pregnancies she read to the babies and she played music for them, everything from classical to classic rock. She’s a big Aerosmith fan. She loves baseball, and both of her pregnancies were during the summer, so they watched a lot of baseball.

Molly asks if Chelsea follows any kind of special dietary plan when she’s pregnant, and Chelsea says she doesn’t normally eat read meat, fish and chicken mostly, but she went with what the baby was craving. Baby number one was really into chicken, but baby number two wasn’t really into meat. She got most of her protein from tofu. Full disclosure, she doesn’t think she’ll ever eat tofu again. They all laugh.

Portia introduces herself to Roy, and vice versa. She says she was wondering if it was okay if she stayed and watched the rest of the session. She wants to see how she can help Curtis. A woman walks in with towels, and Roy asks her to take Curtis over to the bands and get him started with his stretching exercises. She wheels Curtis away, and Portia says, it looks like he’s doing really well. What can she do to help? Roy says he’s been working with people with spine injuries for a lot of years. It’s an emotional experience as well as a physical one, so he has to ask. What exactly does she think she can do for Curtis?

Gregory says, Brook’s grandmother definitely pushes his buttons, and Brook says, her grandmother has never shied away from conflict. If anything, she runs toward it. She knows it can be a lot, but Tracy can be very loving, just not in your typical grandmother way. She’s not the type of grandmother who would knit or bake you cookies. But if she could say one thing about Tracy Quartermaine, it would be that when she loves you, she will always have your back. He says, okay, but what does that mean in actuality? Why does Brook need Tracy to have her back? Chase arrives and apologizes for being late; work held him up. Brook says, it’s all good. They know how important his job is to him, especially with all those months away from it. Gregory says, anything he can talk about? and Chase sits down, saying, he can’t go into details, but he is actually working on several different cases. Did they find something to talk about? Gregory says, they did. They were discussing the importance of an education. Brook says she 100% agrees with that.

Sonny tells Ava, whoever Betty is working for is very determined to find out about his deal with Pikeman. So he put out some false information that Betty is going to find and take that false information right back to her boss. And then they’re going to figure out who she’s working for. It’s what you call cutting the snake off at the head. Ava says, that sounds great, but what she really needs is Nikolas’s body back.

Betty says she thinks if Avery wasn’t so tired, she wouldn’t be fighting her on this. She really needs to rest and take a nap. Avery says, no. She wants to watch cartoons. Betty says, all right then. If she won’t nap, will she watch them on her tablet using headphones? Betty holds the tablet and headphones out, and Avery takes them.

Gabe asks when Dex is going inside, and Dex says he’ll give it a few more minutes. Give Betty time to start looking around. Nina walks up and asks if everything is okay. Dex says, everything’s fine, and Nina says she left a few things… Dex blocks the door and says he’s sorry. He can’t let her inside.

Alexis tells Esme, yes, she misses being a lawyer very much. She misses standing up in front of a judge and jury, and advocating for her client’s rights. Having said that, she thinks she’s done a reasonably good job turning The Invader into something more positive. Esme asks if there are any similarities, and Alexis says, that’s a very good question. Actually, yes. In all legal cases, facts are important; so is the presentation equally important. She needs to make sure the judge and the jury think the facts she’s presenting are interesting and important. So it’s the same when writing stories for a newspaper. Headlines have to be authentic, but they also have to grab the attention of the reader. Esme asks if that’s how she turned the paper around. Spencer told her the paper used to be trash, but now it’s a well-regarded news source. Alexis says, that’s very nice to hear. And speaking of her favorite nephew, how is it cohabitating with him now that Laura and Doc aren’t there to referee?

Chase thanks Brook for ordering for him, and says, she always knows what he wants. She says, he seems to like everything, so it’s easy, and Gregory says he has a question. Chase says, go for it, and Gregory asks if they’ve discussed their future together. Chase says, dad! and Gregory says he didn’t pester Brook while they were waiting for him. He waited until they were both here. Brook excuses herself to go to the ladies room, and Chase tells Gregory, thank you for that. Gregory asks what he said that was so wrong. Life is short. You need to have a plan. Chase says, they haven’t been a couple for very long, and Gregory asks if they’ve talked about the future. How do they know they want the same things? Have they discussed having kids? Where they want to live? Whether they want to get married? Chase says, no, no, and definitely no, and Gregory says, no, they don’t want to get married, or no they haven’t talked about it? Chase says, they haven’t talked about it because they’re not there yet. He doesn’t understand. Why is Gregory in such a rush?

TJ says, candidate number three, Pamela Reed. She’s a single mom. There’s a knock at the door, he lets Pamela in, and they all introduce themselves. As Pamela loads a plate with snacks, Molly says, they read her file, but they’d like to hear in her own words why she wants to be a surrogate. Pamela says she’s a single mom. Her son is school age, so the pregnancy will be manageable. She works from home as a translator, so it’s not physically demanding, but to be perfectly honest, her son’s father’s not in the picture, so the extra money will be a big help for them. Molly asks what her diet is like, and Pamela says, honestly, it’s based on what she can afford, but if they want her to eat healthier foods, she’d totally be down for that, as long as they picked up the tab. She shovels some crackers into her mouth.

TJ says he’s a doctor, so it’s important they know her medical history. Are there any serious medical conditions that run in Pamela’s family? She says, her grandpa died of prostate cancer, but his doctor told them, if they live long enough, every man will eventually get it. He would be 87. She continues to eat, and Molly asks, who is her current OB/GYN, and does she know which hospital they’re affiliated with? Pamela says she just goes to the free clinic to save money, but they’re picking up her hospital bills, so she’ll have any fancy General Hospital doctor they want. Also, for how many months after she delivers will they continue picking up her doctor’s bills? Until her body goes back to normal?

Sonny tells Ava, like he said before, Avery is never going to be alone with Betty. He knows she’s nervous and he gets that, but she has to trust that he’s handling it. She says, nothing can happen to her, and he says, nothing’s going to happen. He said that already. She says, okay. What about Nikolas’s body? His body’s still out there. Who knows? Maybe their plan ends with her in prison. He says, focus. Austin and Mason are working for some mysterious boss. They’re probably the ones who have the body. So she wants to get the body back? They have to figure out who they’re dealing with.

Nina says, what does Dex mean, he can’t let her in? She practically lives here. Dex says he totally understands that, and under normal circumstances, he’d let her right in, but he can’t do that. Gabe says, boss’s orders, and she asks if he’s saying Sonny instructed them not to let her in. Dex says, not her specifically; they can’t let anyone in. She says she’s not just anyone; she’s his fiancé. Dex says he’s sorry, and Nina says, this is unbelievable. She stomps off, and Gabe tells Dex, it’s showtime.

Betty looks at the pile of mail on the mantel, when Dex walks in. He asks what she thinks she’s doing. Avery says hi to Dex, and Betty says she was just looking for some art supplies for Avery. (Wow. Looking for art supplies in a pile of mail? I thought she was good at her job.) But on second thought, maybe she’d be better off with a nap. Avery says, Betty told her that she didn’t have to take a nap, and Betty says, as Dex can see, she has her hands full. Maybe it would be better if they didn’t have any more interruptions. Dex says he’s so sorry. He didn’t mean to bother anyone. He tells Avery bye, and Avery puts her headphones back on. In the hallway, Dex tells Gabe, Betty doesn’t want to be disturbed.

Gregory says, Chase is right. No rush. As long as he’s happy. Chase says he’s happier than he’s been his entire life, and Gregory says he can’t tell Chase how pleased he is to hear that. Brook returns to the table and says, hear what? Gregory says, Chase was just telling him how happy he is, and Brook says, Chase is always happy. Has he always been that way? Nothing ever seems to get him down.

Esme tells Alexis that she’s right. She was worried when Laura said she and Doc were going to look for Nikolas. They’ve been such a good buffer between her and Spencer, but things are actually turning out better than she expected with him. Alexis says, that’s good, and Esme says, they’re really finding their rhythm together. He loves Ace. He sings to him and never complains about changing a diaper. And he always finds a way to make Ace laugh. He makes her laugh… but of course (🍷) she can’t wait for Laura and Doc to get back. But it is kind of funny how things work out. Alexis only offered her the job as a favor to Laura so she would stay in town with Ace, but it turns out, she’s really enjoying this job. Alexis says, all right then. Just keep doing a good job and it will be a win for everyone. She looks over and sees Gregory having difficulty signing for the check.

TJ says, they’ll let Pamela know as soon as they decide, and she says, nice meeting them. She leaves, taking a water with her, and TJ asks Molly what she thinks.

Portia says she guesses Curtis didn’t tell Roy, she’s not just his wife; she’s also a doctor. She just wants to help her husband as much as she can. He says, of course (🍷) she does, but she has to remember, Curtis’s life has taken a very unexpected turn, one he didn’t see coming. He has to figure this out for himself. She says she knows that. She just wants to be there for her husband every step of the way. She knows it’s going to take some time. He says, Curtis is at the point in his recovery where accepting any help, including from his doctor, is going to be difficult for him, a real struggle. Inserting herself into his recovery could do more harm than good. She’s going to have to be very patient with Curtis while he figures this out. She has to work on Curtis’s timetable, not hers.

Betty snoops around Sonny’s home office and gets on his laptop. She puts Pikeman in the search and a bunch of files come up.

Nina walks into Sonny’s office at Pozzulo’s, and he asks how she’s doing. She says, the better question is, why wasn’t she allowed into their home? What is going on at the penthouse?

Chase and Brook leave, and Alexis asks if she can join Gregory. He says, please, have a seat, and she thanks him. She asks, how was lunch? and he says, fantastic. Brook is very special. She makes his son very happy, and he thinks they’re starting to get serious. She says, that’s nice to hear. What else is going on? He says, oh. She saw him struggling with the check. She says she did, and he says, fortunately for him, they were so wrapped up in each other, they didn’t seem to notice. She says she’s sorry, and he says, it’s getting worse. He thinks he’s running out of time.

TJ tells Molly that he thinks it’s safe to say they both like Pamela, and Molly sarcastically says, yeah, tossing the folder on the table. She says, Pamela seemed so focused on the money, she has the feeling that no matter what contract they offered her, she’d manage to ask for more. TJ says, agreed. They both like Andrea and Chelsea. Molly says, let’s go with Andrea. She has a really good feeling about her, and they’ll know they have a back-up in Chelsea. This is really happening. He says, it’s an important first step, and they hug.

Roy tells Curtis, so much of his strength is going to come from his arms. So do a few reps using his arms to move his body straight up. Curtis says he can do that, and Roy says, he’s got this. That’s it. Push. Curtis lifts himself up, and Roy says, that’s good. Do another one. Portia lingers in the doorway like mold, and Curtis does another rep.

Sonny tells Nina, everything’s fine. There’s nothing to worry about. He promises. Nina asks what Ava is doing here, and Ava says she’s here to talk to Sonny about Avery, that’s all. But she’ll go. She’ll let them talk. Ava jets, and Nina asks why Sonny’s guards wouldn’t let her into the penthouse. And why is Ava acting so squirrely? (I love that word!) He says, it’s best she doesn’t know, and she says, they had a talk about this. He says, yes, he’s an open book, but there are some things she should not know for her own safety. He’s protecting his family. That’s all he can tell her, and he hopes that’s enough. She says she guesses she doesn’t have a choice, does she? But she’s going to tell him this before she goes. This just makes her feel like another one of his employees. She leaves, glancing back at him before going out the door.

Dex slips into the penthouse, and Avery takes her headphones off. He gestures for her to keep quiet, and she puts them back on.

In the office, Betty chooses a file, and takes a flashdrive out of her pocket. She copies the file onto it, takes the flashdrive out, closes the laptop, and looks all proud of herself.

Tomorrow, Nina asks Ava what they’re celebrating; Selina says she’d like to take The Savoy off Curtis’s hands; Michael asks Dex why his father has Dex following the doctor; and Cody tells Brook, it’s time for them to do something drastic.

🏥 Return Trip…

How cool that he won a contest to get on the show.

🕶 Extended Run…

Another amazing start. Seems like he’s been around forever.

⛲️ No Greek Tragedy Here…

I would love to swim in that blue, blue water.

👠 Seismic Wives…

Another matter of opinion. What about Teresa bouncing Andy back into his chair? Or when the bird got in and scared the crap out of Andy?

📺 Seduced By Reality…

My favorite part was Kate explaining some of the shows to Captain Lee. There were times when it was reminiscent of Jake explaining SpongeBob SquarePants to Evelyn on Two and a Half Men.

🐉 Spinning the Game…

While we all wait for George R. R. Martin to finish the damn book.

🌁 Getting There…

I don’t imagine the writers’ strike did them any favors.

🐩 It’s Okay To Like Them Better…

I’ll bet their posts are better too.

🥣 Rounding Out the Meal…

For whatever reason, it looks like no making fun of the OC tomorrow, but stop by for soap and whatever else makes its way here. Until then, stay safe, stay not jumping the line, and stay being aware of when inserting yourself will do more harm than good.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

County Kerry Ireland. We hear bagpipes play. Annie tells Felicia and Mac that she can’t believe how many of them came, all the way from America. Felicia says, that’s how much they loved her dad, and how much they wanted to be there to support her and her mom. Annie says, it means a lot that they came to honor him, and Felicia says her dad loved her. She was his pride and joy. Annie thanks Felicia and hugs her. She says, the inn is just over the hill; she hopes they can stop by. Felicia says, of course (🍷). Annie leaves, and Anna asks Felicia if they can talk, but Felicia says, now is not the time, and she and Mac leave. Anna looks at Sean’s gravestone.

Robin sets out pictures of Sean, alone and with the family, and tells Robert, when she heard the news, she wondered why she hadn’t made more time to see Sean and Tiffany in Ireland. The kids would have loved it. She wonders if they should have left Anna and Felicia at Sean’s grave. At least Mac is there. She doesn’t think she’s ever seen Felicia so angry before.

Maxie tells the baby, they’re almost there. They just have to make sure her father is removed from the equation. Trust her; it’s for the best. There’s a knock at the door, and Peter says it’s him, because his antennae go up every time Maxie moves. He says he wants to say goodbye before she goes to the spa. She says, speak of the devil.

Monica and Laura look at the programs from the memorial, and Monica says, it was a beautiful service, wasn’t it? Laura says, the priest was really eloquent. And Tiffany. That was so brave. She doesn’t know how Tiffany held it together like that. She was really proud of her. Monica says, her too. While she was watching Tiffany, she thought of herself standing there at Alan’s funeral. It’s all so surreal. You’ve lost your life’s partner, you try to get through the loss, and just be grateful for the good times. Laura says, and Sean Donely was definitely a man who appreciated a good time. They laugh, and she says, now that all the religious stuff is over, she thinks Sean would want them to celebrate his life. Monica says, hear, hear.

Maxie tells Peter that she’s just packing for her spa trip, and he asks, where’s Chloe? He thought she understood she was to be with Maxie at all times until the baby is born.

Felicia comes back with Mac to find her umbrella, and Anna asks if she can please stay so they can talk. Felicia says, trust her. Anna doesn’t want to hear what she has to say. Anna says, she does. They can’t get past this until they go through it. Mac says, they just said goodbye to Sean, and they were two of his favorite people. He would hate to see them at odds, so if it’s possible for them to talk it out, think of it as a last wish of Sean’s. Felicia says she’ll stay… for Sean. Mac says he loves them both, and leaves.

Annie comes in, and Laura asks if Annie’s mom is there. They barely got to speak at the memorial. Annie says, she and Connor took some of her father’s ashes to spread them at his local village. Robert says, Sean told him stories about that place. He said it reminded him of Annie’s namesake. Robin says, if Annie doesn’t mind her asking, how bad was the dementia? Did Sean know who she was? Annie says, yes and no. Her last good memory of him was last Christmas when he gave her this ring. She shows them, and Laura says, it’s beautiful. Annie says, his last year was pretty muddled, but there were some days he was sharp as a tack. He knew that the Christmas star was going to be visible in Ireland for the first time in 800 years. He said it was a miracle, just like her. Laura asks if the ring has any significance, and Annie says, cubanite is known to attract magnets. Robert says, that’s how Sean saw her. Laura says she heard the reception was better outside, so she’s stepping out to call Tiffany. Annie says she knows her mother would be thrilled to hear from Laura.

Outside, Laura calls Tiffany, who asks if she’s supposed to call Laura Madam Mayor now. Laura says, just Laura, and laughs. She says it’s good to hear Tiffany’s voice, and Tiffany says she feels the same way. Laura says she wants to hear about Tiffany’s life; the good, the bad, and everything in between. She doesn’t have to edit. She can say what she’s feeling. Laura says she’s there for Tiffany, and Tiffany says, as you always are, darling.

Robert tells Annie, Tiffany told him that she applied to the Bureau. How’s that going? She says she was hellbent on following in her father’s footsteps, and Robert says, was; meaning past tense? She says she completed her training, but then, nothing. They were supposed to contact her for her final test, but they never did. She assumes she didn’t make the cut. He tells her not to be too disappointed. It’s not easy to get into the Bureau. She says, the WSB contacted her after her father died, but not to offer condolences. Her dad still had sensitive WSB documents, and they’re sending a courier for them tomorrow. Robert says he knows it’s a lot to ask, but he and Anna were close to her dad, and still have clearance. Is it possible for them to have access to the files?

Tiffany tells Laura, from the moment Sean walked into her life until the second he left it, he was heartbreakingly handsome, exasperating, terribly funny, and fun. We see flashbacks as she talks. She says, he had the driest sense of humor, and a twinkle in his eye. Even that time he broke her heart. In the 35 years they were with each other, they had the most magical life together. It was the best life she could ever have dreamed of. He gave her a wonderful stepson, Connor, and an amazing, fantastic daughter. She can’t wait to see Laura tomorrow. Laura says she loves Tiffany, and Tiffany says she loves Laura too. Her dear, dear friend. Laura says, tomorrow. She looks at her room key, as someone approaches. She drops the key.

Maxie says Chloe has to pack for their spa getaway, but he says, it doesn’t take all afternoon to pack. He’ll stay until Chloe gets back; he doesn’t want her to be alone. Bobbie arrives, and says, Maxie won’t be alone. She’ll be with Maxie. She’ll take care of Maxie, so Peter can go.

Robin asks if anyone has seen Laura. She went outside to call Patrick, and found this. She shows them Laura’s room key.

Annie tells Robert that her dad was very protective of his files, He designed the safe himself, and it requires a retinal scan to open it. Robert says, so now that Sean is gone, no one can access it? She says she can, and Robert says, it’s an old case, and they’re dealing with something similar now. Sean’s case files may hold the key. She says she’s sorry, but she can’t give him access.

Anna thanks Felicia for talking with her. She knows she deserves Felicia’s anger. Felicia says, it’s not anger; it’s rage for what Anna did to her daughter. Maxie’s life is in tatters thanks to Anna. Anna is Maxie’s godmother, and Maxie believed in Anna because Felicia put her in a position of trust in Maxie’s life. Peter was Faison’s son, and admitted to working with him. They should have been more suspicious. She takes it back; she was suspicious. Anna convinced them to give Peter a chance, and because of her, Maxie believed in him. Maxie loved him, but the second Anna had doubts, she should have let her and Mac know. If she was uncomfortable with that, at the very least she should have told Maxie. Anna didn’t protect her goddaughter. And worse, her closest friend gave her no chance to protect her own child. She walks away.

Robert asks if anyone has seen Laura. Robin found Laura’s key outside, Mac went to look for Laura, and now he’s gone. Monica says she hasn’t seen him, and Annie says neither has she. Mac walks in, and Robert says, one down. Now they just have to find Laura. Mac says he hates to admit it, but he can’t find Laura’s room. The rooms aren’t ordered with any rhyme or reason. Robert says, Annie rented the place for them. Can she take him to Laura’s room? Annie says, no problem, and she and Robert go upstairs. Robin says she’s worried, and asks if Anna talked to Felicia. Anna says, Felicia talked; unloaded would be more accurate. She supposes she had it coming, and Robin says, Felicia has the right to her anger, but Anna also has the right to explain her side too. Try again. Be brave like she taught Robin. Anna says she loves Robin, and Robin says, back at her. Felicia comes in, and Robin makes herself scarce. Anna says, everything Felicia said is true, but she doesn’t know how to begin to apologize. Felicia says, then don’t. She doesn’t think she can forgive Anna.

Peter tells Bobbie, there’s no harm in him sticking around too. He is the baby’s father. Bobbie says she’s a licensed nurse, with decades of experience. She knows about Maxie’s high blood pressure issues, and knows that Peter’s presence exacerbates them. He can leave or be escorted out. Peter says, since Maxie is in good hands, he’ll go. He says he’ll miss her, and Maxie says she’ll see him after the babymoon. He leaves, and Maxie says, thank God Bobbie came. Bobbie says, two questions. What the heck is a babymoon, and why was it so urgent that she come over? Maxie says she needs Bobbie to deliver her baby.

Upstairs at the inn, Annie says, the door to Laura’s room is open. Robert looks in, and calls to Laura. He says, the room is a wreck, and Annie says, it looks ransacked. Robert says he’ll try calling Laura, when Robin joins them. She asks, what’s going on? and Annie says, the locks on Laura’s room look jimmied, and she’s gone. Robert says he’s getting no answer. Annie picks up a Mexican flag wrapped around a toy gun, and says, her dad worked in Mexico, under the alias El Patron. Robert says, he was an arms dealer; not one of his finest hours. Annie says, Laura is missing. Someone broke in and left this for them to find. Could all of this have something to do with her dad?

Mac tells Monica, they’re low on ice, but there’s none in the icemaker in the kitchen. She says Annie told her the caretaker keeps an extra refrigerator in the garage. He says, he’ll check it out, and leaves. Monica sits down with her drink, and someone approaches. She drops the glass, and it shatters on the floor.

Anna tells Felicia, she made terrible mistakes where Peter was concerned. She let the whole thing go on for too long. Felicia says, Maxie was literally at the altar when the horrible truth finally came out. If Anna had just warned her, she could have made arrangements to come home and be by Maxie’s side. Now her daughter is broken. Anna says, no. Her daughter is down, but certainly not out. Felicia asks if that’s what Anna is telling herself; Maxie is strong enough to overcome the disaster Anna made for her. Anna says she wanted to believe the best about Peter. She ignored the warning signs, and kept seeing what she wanted to see. By the time she realized how wrong she was, the wedding was upon them. She regrets her actions every single day. Maxie has started to forgive her – she thinks – and she’s doing everything she can to put Peter away. Please tell her that counts for something. Felicia says she hardly remembers a time when they weren’t friends. They’ve been through so much; her and Frisco, and Anna and Robert. No one was better suited as Maxie’s godparents than Anna and Sean. Anna was there for Maxie, long after Sean and Tiffany left town, and for her. We flash back to when Anna and Felicia were practically babies, and Anna asks how she can make amends. What can she do for Felicia to forgive her?

Robert says he’ll call the local police, and Annie says, they’re not close by, but he should be able to get them on the phone. She suggests Robert go to the window in the hallway; she’s gotten better reception there. Annie tells Robin, it’s no secret her dad had enemies. This could be one targeting her dad’s friends.

Maxie says she trusts Bobbie as much as her mom, and Bobbie says, Maxie is obviously in trouble. Maxie says she had a plan to deliver her baby, and keep her safe from Peter, but those plans fell through. Bobbie says, so what’s the new plan? and Maxie says she’s made arrangements to go to a spa that caters to pregnant women; that’s the babymoon part. She’s going to ditch the private nurse Peter insisted she hire; then make it look like her water broke, and she went to the hospital. Instead, she’s really going to a house in Beecher’s Corners to have the baby. Her doctor said it’s safe for her to be induced. Bobbie says, so that’s where she comes in. She’s assisted with enough births to know what to do, and her contact at GH can get supplies. She can meet Maxie at Beecher’s Corners. Maxie says, thank you so much, and Bobbie says, one question. Who will be taking care of the baby until Peter is no longer a threat?

Robert comes back, and tells Annie that the police said they’d be there in twenty minutes. She asks what he thinks is going on, and he says, for all the good work Sean did for the WSB, he also spent time on the opposite side of the law. Sean was absolutely ruthless when he needed to be, and if the payoff was enough. He even tried to kill Robert once. We flash back to Sean and Robert fighting in an aerial tram, and Robert falling from it. Annie says she’s well aware of her dad’s past mistakes. She hates thinking his past mistakes are coming back to haunt his friends. Robin says her parents have had a lot of experience in situations like this. Whatever is going on, they’ll get her through it.

Felicia tells Anna, she didn’t want to come there. Partly because, it was so close to Maxie’s due date, but also because she knew Anna would be there. She wasn’t ready to have this conversation. In the end, she knew she owed it to Sean to be there, and to herself. Sean was always special to her; he was like a father to her, and watched over always. Anna says, her too. Maybe he still is. Felicia says she knows what he’d say if he was there. He’d tell her to forgive Anna, and he’d be right. They have too many years invested in their friendship to throw them away. They’ve always overcome the odds, and they need to do that again. They need to overcome their differences, and work through them for Maxie. They hug, and Mac sees. He says, thank God. Annie comes back, and says they have a situation on their hands. Laura is missing, and there are signs of forced entry to her room. And she found something that leads her to believe whoever did this is aware of her dad’s days as El Patron. Anna asks if anyone knows where Monica is.

They find Monica’s chair empty, and the broken glass next to it on the floor.

Anna says, Monica isn’t in the kitchen, and Robin says, she’s not in her room either. Annie says, oh my God, and picks something up from the floor. It’s a tiny replica of Mt. Rushmore. She hands it to Anna, and Anna asks Robert if he remembers when they fought the terrorist group. Annie wonders if it’s the terrorist group targeting her father’s friends, and Felicia asks, what happened to Mac? They look in an adjoining room, and see the ice bucket and ice on the floor. Anna says, what is happening?

Felicia says she’s going to look for Mac, but Robert says she’s not going by herself; he’s going with her. They leave, and Robin tells Anna and Annie, let’s be logical. This place is old, but there are a lot of valuables, so there have to be security cameras, right? Annie says there are, and Robin asks where the footage is stored. Annie says, there’s a computer in the caretaker’s office. Robin says, lead the way, but Anna says, before they go, she’s convinced there’s some information they need in Sean’s files. Is there any way Annie could open the safe for them? Annie says, as she already explained to Robert, even though she’s not a WSB agent, the oath she took means something to her. She suggests they at least look at the security footage, and see what that tells him.

Maxie says she has a plan, but the less Bobbie knows, the better. She’s certain the baby will be loved and cared for. Bobbie says, she won’t press Maxie, but she knows the pain of giving up a child, so no judgment. She’s going to support Maxie through all of it. Maxie said she didn’t want to make Bobbie think about losing BJ (I was thinking she meant Carly, but okay), and Bobbie says she’ll always miss BJ, but she’s deeply grateful for her legacy, the heart beating in Maxie’s chest. Maxie says, BJ’s heart made her life possible, and her children lives. She’s forever grateful for that.

Felicia tells Robert, it’s kind of ironic. If Sean was here, he would know exactly what was going on. Robert says, without a doubt, and Felicia says she always had faith in Sean, from the moment they first met. Robert asks if Sean didn’t give her the nickname Princess, and she says that’s always how Sean treated her. We flash back to Felicia’s wedding to Frisco, and Sean acting as father of the bride.

Anna asks if Annie knows the password, and Annie says, it’s 791ElsieMay. Anna says she loves it; Tiffany’s real name. She enters the password, and asks if Annie is sure that’s it. Look at what’s happening to the screen. The screen goes black, and Robin says, it looks like the hard drive was wiped clean. Annie says, sometimes magnets do that, and Robin says, didn’t Annie tell them that there’s a magnetic component in her ring? Annie says she hasn’t been close enough to the computer for it to have done any damage. They hear a scream, and run to find Robert on the floor. Anna asks, what happened? and Robin asks if he’s all right. He says he’s not sure. He was walking toward Felicia, and someone hit him on the head. Robin asks, where’s Felicia? and Anna says they heard her scream. Annie says, she’s with the others, and shows Anna some pieces of jewelry. Anna says she thinks they’re meant to represent Felicia’s Aztec jewels. Annie’s father and Robert fought to the finish over them. She thought Sean had killed Robert. Robert says it was dicey for a while, but their friendship survived. Annie says, whoever took Felicia, obviously knows the story. Much like the incident at Mt. Rushmore, and her father’s days as El Patron. It’s all about her dad. They’re picking us off, one by one, and any one of us could be next.

Robin says she’ll get some ice for Robert’s head, and Anna says she’ll go with Robin. Annie should come. She shouldn’t be alone. Annie promises she’ll catch up, and when they’re gone, Annie sees a phone on the floor. She takes a look at something on it, and says, no.

Robin asks Robert and Anna, what happens next? when Annie walks in, and asks if she can talk to Anna alone; it’s important. Anna asks Robin if it’s okay, and Robin says she’ll be fine. She can take care of her dad. Anna says, stay there, be careful, and she’ll be in the hallway. She leaves with Annie, and Robin tells Robert that she feels bad for Annie. He promises it will be over soon, and she says she hopes so. She asks if Robert thinks there’s anything in Sean’s files that could bring Peter down.

Anna asks Annie what she couldn’t say in front of Robert, and Annie says, when Laura went missing, Robert said he called the local police station, and they told him it would take 20 minutes to get there. He dropped his phone, so she checked to see what time he made the call, and there’s no record. Robert never made the call. He lied. Anna says they can’t jump to conclusions, and Annie asks, what else there is to conclude? Robert has to be in on this. He has to know where the others are. Anna says, what about the bump on his head? He didn’t do that himself. Perhaps the people who took their friends tampered with his phone. Annie asks why they would do that, and Anna says, to make them mad at each other, like Annie is now. Annie has to trust them. They all loved her father very much. They will get to the bottom of this, but they have to stick together. Annie says she needs a second to gather her thoughts, and Anna says, don’t stay too long. Be careful. She leaves, and Annie picks up Anna’s bag from a chair. She looks in it, and takes out a magnet. She says, oh my God.

Anna asks how the patient is, and Robert says, in these trying times, it’s nice to be sitting there with his ex-wife and daughter fussing over him. Annie comes back in and says, it’s both of them. Robert and Anna are involved in whoever is taking her dad’s friends. She found Robert’s phone, and he never called the police. Now she found a magnet in Anna’s bag; the one that wiped the hard drive clean. Where are the others, and what have they done with them?

Robin says Annie is talking about her parents. How can she possibly suspect them? Annie says, Robin’s mom had a magnet in her purse that she managed to place close enough to the computer to wipe out its hard drive. Anna says she didn’t put that in her purse. She can only assume whoever’s kidnapping their friends, planted it there when she was out of the room. Robert says, whoever’s behind it wins if they all turn on each other. Anna says she’s convinced that they can find everyone if they can just access Sean’s file. Can Annie please open the safe? Annie says she can’t, but Anna says Annie has to. She can’t think of another way to find them.

Maxie tells Bobbie, she’s not allowed to fly, but she wishes she could have gone to Ireland for the memorial. Bobbie says she thought about going, but got the feeling she should stay close to home. Now that she understands Maxie’s situation, and knows where the feeling came from. It’s what Sean would want for his goddaughter. Maxie says, maybe Sean aligned the stars so Bobbie would be there; that’s what godfathers do, isn’t it? Bobbie says, that’s what Sean does.

Annie says, it’s clear they haven’t been honest with her since they got there. She believes they made the others disappear to manipulate her, so they could do whatever they want. She cannot and she will not open the safe. Robin says, what if she’s wrong? Would she consider it to save her dad’s friends? Annie says she swore an oath to the WSB. Even if she didn’t become an agent, the oath is a lifetime commitment. If she broke it, she would dishonor her father’s memory, and she’s not going to do that. Anna says, spoken like true agent, and Annie asks, what’s going on? Why are they smiling? The rest of them come into the room, and Annie says, they’re okay. Laura says, all of them, and Annie says she doesn’t understand. Anna says, congratulations. She passed the final test. Robert says, the Bureau reached out, and asked them to help. Felicia says, it was a set-up, and Anna says she asked the caretaker to usher the others to a secret location, so she and Robert could test Annie’s loyalty to the Bureau. Mac says he left the calling cards so she’d think her father’s enemies were upon them, and Robert says, he left his phone lying around for her to find. Annie says, but Robert got hurt, and Felicia says, so sorry about that. She conked him harder than she was supposed to, but she had to make it look real. Mac is sure his brother deserved it for something or other, and Annie says, Anna’s purse. Anna says she left it for Annie to discover. Now she’s an official agent with the WSB. Annie says she doesn’t know whether to be furious or shout with joy, and Robert says, she should be as proud of herself as they know her father would be. He gives her an ID, and she says, it’s her dad’s badge number. Anna says, now it’s hers. Congratulations. They toast, and Annie hugs Robert.

Maxie says she hopes Sean is watching out for her and Louise. They need it. Bobbie says she believes he is.

Laura tells Annie, congratulations; job well done, and Monica says, agreed. Holding the phone, Annie asks if her mom heard that. She’s officially an agent. Tiffany says, congratulations, my darling Annie. Now she knows why Tiffany had to keep her distance. She could have never gone through with this charade. All of them know she’d definitely would have had to jump right in, and then they’d have to kidnap her. Besides, she was absolutely confident Annie could handle it on her own. Always remember, she’s her daddy’s daughter, and every bit as brave and resourceful as Sean was. Annie says she’d like to think she has a little mom in her too, and Tiffany says she’s so proud of Annie. Her daddy is forever watching over her, protecting her, and loving her. If she needs to feel his love, just look up and remember that night they watched the most beautiful Christmas star together, and always cherish that memory.

Robert says, Sean made them laugh. We flashback to Sean and Tiffany getting married, and Sean discovering that Tiffany’s real name is Elsie May Crumbholts during the vows, and barely making it through them because he’s laughing so hard. Robert says, well, it’s goodbye, old friend. He’s so going to miss Sean. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. We hear bagpipes, and everyone drinks.

We see Sean’s picture, and it says – In loving memory of John Reilly.

One of the best memorial episodes ever. They made it more fun than sad, but they also went through it with us for real. You could see it in their faces at the end.

On Monday, Spinelli thinks he knows what’s going on, Brando thinks he has the chance at something amazing, Sonny asks Nina why she wants to take a risk, Cyrus would like a small favor, and Jason tells Britt that the tests are in.

🙌 Farewell, Old Friend…

They really put a lot of thought into this. No doubt, John Reilly was looking down and smiling.

🐎 Feud In Dallas…

I haven’t really been following RHOD this season, but there seems to be some nasty stuff going on. I’m disappointed in Kameron, although I was disappointed in Tiffany first, for making a big deal over the chicken foot. No one is insulting your culture by not wanting to eat its delicacies. The culture on my maternal side of the family eats feet too. Pickled pigs feet. And I am not going anywhere near them. I also couldn’t seem to find out what Kameron’s original sex worker comment was. Inquiring minds want to know. Frankly, I think all these women should stay off of social media.

Standard

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

General Hospital

In the park, Carly tells the baby about the next ultrasound, and says no matter what, she’s got them. Kim comes by, and tells Carly that she’s starting back to work, slowly, but surely. She asks how Carly is doing, and Carly says she’s in her third trimester. Kim says, as a friend and OB, what’s going on?

Brad beings Wiley to the hospital to see Lucas. Lucas asks if Brad got some sleep. Brad says he did, but skipped dinner. Lucas suggests they stop by Kelly’s before Wiley’s swimming lesson. They don’t want to be those parents who are asleep in the bleachers. Julian joins them, and Lucas gives Wiley to him, telling Wiley, say hi to his grandpa. Julian says he came to see Kim, but she’s not in her office yet. She’s easing back into it. He says maybe it’s not a bad thing that he missed her, and caught them instead. He has something important to discuss.

Neil goes to Alexis’s house. She says she was just on the way to his office, and he says he was hoping to catch her before she left. They need to talk about what happened in the elevator.

At the reception desk, Finn tells Epiphany that he was hoping she could help him with something. She asks, what kind of something? He says one of his patients just got prescription he didn’t prescribe, and he’s wondering if she can check the file. We can tell she already isn’t buying Finn’s story, but she asks what the patient’s name is. He says, Arthur Cabot, and she asks if he doesn’t mean Dr. Arthur Cabot. Why is Finn looking for information about the likes of a criminal like him?

Shiloh calls Jason, who asks what he wants, and how he got the number. Shiloh says Sam gave it to him – more or less. If Jason wants to see his girlfriend alive again, he’ll do exactly what he’s told. The clock is ticking. We see Sam on the floor of Shiloh’s room, her hands and feet bound with duct tape, and her mouth covered. Shiloh asks if Jason got the text, and Jason finds that Shiloh has sent a picture of Sam. Shiloh asks if he has Jason’s attention. Jason asks what he wants, and Shiloh tells Jason to meet him at the lovely Midwood Motor Lodge. Come alone. No weapons. He has one of his followers watching, and if Jason doesn’t do what he says, Sam won’t be so alive anymore. Jason makes possibly the most pissed off face ever.

Alexis asks if she can get Neil anything, but he says, no thanks. The way he opened up to her was inappropriate, unprofessional, and crossed the line. Alexis says they’re even. Usually she’s the line crosser. Whatever he said is already forgotten. He tells her, that’s not possible. He knows she’s trying to be nice, but she’s not forgetting. She says, maybe not, but that doesn’t mean they have to talk about it again. He says, whether they do or not, it doesn’t matter. When they talk about Kristina, Alexis will see similarities, and how he couldn’t save his daughter. His oversharing changed the way she thinks about him moving forward. She asks if she shouldn’t be the judge of that, but he says she shouldn’t hear raw, personal things about her therapist. She says maybe he’s right, but she’ll probably think about how badly they sang. It has nothing to do with their professional relationship. He says, it changed everything for him. He can’t see her anymore.

Epiphany tells Finn that when Cabot was there last, the WSB was involved. Finn says he was there earlier, and said he was picking up a prescription. If he knew what it was, he’d have a better idea what Cabot was up to. She asks if it’s a WSB investigation, but he says it’s just him – for now. She checks the computer, and tells him, she was never there. He says, he knows, and she steps away. Finn looks at the screen. Drew comes by, and Finn asks to speak to him. He thinks they have a potential situation going down.

Carly tells Kim they don’t have to talk about her pregnancy, and Kim asks if everything is okay. Even though she’s high risk, they didn’t expect any complications. Carly says there are some complications, but not because she’s high risk. The baby has spina bifida, but they won’t know how severe it is until the next ultrasound. Kim can only imagine how stressful it must be, but says Carly has an excellent physician who will make the right call about treatment, and she’s around if Carly wants to talk or has any questions. She’s delivered babies with spina bifida before. Carly says she might text Kim late at night when her thoughts go dark, and Kim says that’s all right.

Julian says he wants to show something to Lucas in person. Brad asks if he’s not invited, and Julian says he can come, but he wanted Lucas’s take on it before he made a purchase. He thinks it’s a good deal for the whole family. Brad tells Lucas to go ahead. He’ll take Wiley to swimming, and if Lucas gets home first, maybe he can catch a nap. Lucas says, that last part sealed the deal, and be sure to take plenty of pictures. Lucas leaves with Julian, and Brad asks Wiley if he’s ready for his swimming lesson, and is he ready to be the next Michael Phelps? Obrecht appears, and says, wonderful idea. When she was shoved overboard, only her ability to swim saved her life.

Alexis tells Neil, don’t do this. Don’t fire her as a patient again. He says, it’s not an option, but she doesn’t understand why. She respected his boundaries. He says she has, but it’s not just wrong and unethical. It’s dangerous.

Carly says she doesn’t want to put Kim in an uncomfortable position, but Kim says it’s actually good for her to focus on others. It makes her feel like she has a purpose, and she’s useful. She hasn’t been able to bring herself to conduct a delivery yet. Bringing life into the world with such potential is a lot for her. She thinks of Oscar, and when he born, and how much life he had ahead of him. Then she realizes how short that life turned out to be.

Finn tells Drew that Cabot was the original architect of memory mapping, which led to Andre’s breakthrough. He’d been in the custody of the WSB until recently, and now he’s in Port Charles. He asks if Cabot has reached out to Drew, but Drew says he wouldn’t know; he’s never met Cabot. But it’s not the first time something about his stolen memories came up this week. Finn asks, what else happened?

Brad asks why Obrecht is at the hospital, and she says she was following up with her physician, making sure there are no further complications from her near-drowning. He might remember that some wretched human being pushed her off The Haunted Star. Brad says, it’s horrible, and she says, criminal really. He hopes she got things sorted out; he and Wiley have to be on their way. She stops him, and says he must forgive her. Normally she’d love to play cat and mouse, but her patience has run thin. He says he doesn’t know what she’s talking about, but she thinks he does. She thought about who would want her dead, and take advantage of the circumstances on the boat. She was distracted by more obvious choices, but he’s the one who tried to kill her.

Brad asks if Obrecht’s doctor checked her for a concussion. She must have hit her head hard. She asks if they must continue this charade. If he doesn’t tell her the truth, she’s going to open the conversation to a wider audience. He asks why she hasn’t said anything to anyone else, and she says she doesn’t like to involve the police in her affairs, especially when she’s concerned about the subject. He must know she knows the truth about Wiley. Wiley is Nelle’s son.

Lucy meets Juliann and Lucas at the door of the old DOD house. There’s a small mountain of stuff outside, and she tells them, sorry. She’s having it hauled away. Michael had bought the house to open a shelter for battered women, but it’s not zoned for that, so he put it back on the market and he’s finding an alternative. The proceeds will go to the shelter endowment. We’ll just overlook that zoning thing, since it wouldn’t have been any different than DOD. Julian asks what Lucas thinks, but Lucas doesn’t know. Lucy tells him not to let the DOD thing interfere with what he thinks. It could be a great house. She says the price is non-negotiable, and Julian says, it’s pretty steep. Lucy doesn’t think so. It’s a great house in a great neighborhood, with a lot of square footage, and her expert opinion, it’s at a great price. Lucas asks since when does Julian want to buy a house? and Julian says he’s been living in the back of his bar. It’s time he put roots down, and have a room to call his own. Maybe Kim will move in.

Kim and Carly walk through the park. Carly says she’s sorry she hasn’t checked in, but Kim says Carly has been busy, and she hasn’t made herself available. Carly says, if taking the time to grieve is helping, that’s what she should do. Carly says she’s thought a lot about Kim; Josslyn has too. Josslyn wants to stop by. Kim says she’d love it; she misses seeing Josslyn. Carly says she’ll make sure Josslyn knows that. Kim says she’s grateful for Josslyn. She kept Oscar’s last days filled with hope, and kept him strong. It means the world to her. Carly says, Josslyn feels the same way. Kim says, it will be nice to see everyone, and Carly says, when she’s ready. Kim wonders how long she’s going to keep crying at the drop of a hat, and staring into space for hours. Oscar has been gone three months. Carly says, there’s no time frame. Kim apologizes, but Carly says, the pain of losing Morgan never goes away. She’ll wake up from a dream that he’s still alive, and she can barely get out of bed. Eventually, it gets easier, and the good days outweigh the bad. You focus on what you still have, and the love in your life. Kim says that’s wonderful for Carly. She has a strong family and support system there in Port Charles.

Alexis says at least Neil isn’t dumping her for crossing boundaries. Now she’s dangerous. It’s a new dynamic. Neil says it’s been there since he found out Kristina was involved in a cult. He considered telling her, thinking the similarities would make her feel like she wasn’t alone. He posed the question to his own therapist, who thought it was dangerous to both of them. Him losing his daughter isn’t some past trauma; it’s still a raw nerve. Helping patients gets him through the day, but the topic is still sensitive. She still doesn’t understand why he can’t see her, but he says if she starts withholding things she thinks might upset him, their roles won’t be clear. It’s unhealthy, and it’s his professional obligation to take care of her. He can’t do that if she’s concerned about taking care of him. She says, that is a problem. She does care about him.

Jason bangs on the motel room door. Shiloh asks if he came alone, and Jason asks, where is she? Shiloh says Jason can’t help her unless he follow the rules. He ask for Jason’s gun, and Jason hands it over, but then he slams the door open right into Shiloh’s face. He grabs Shiloh by the neck forcing him down, and asks, where the hell is Sam?

Sam is… I dunno where, but she’s still duct taped.

Carly says Kim has so many people who care about her. Kim says it’s nice of her to say, but Carly says, it’s the truth. Drew, herself, her whole family, the Quartermaines, Julian. Kim says, it’s been wonderful, but it’s just not the same. She was never really afraid of change, but she always had Oscar as a constant. She came there in the hopes of finding his family, so he could be part of something bigger. Now, he’s gone, and she sees reminders everywhere; the marker, Oscar’s Meadow, the school. She thought it would be helpful, but it’s turning out not to be; it’s suffocating. Carly takes her hand, and says maybe she does need a change of pace; a change of scenery.

Julian asks what Lucas thinks, and Lucas says, it’s something. Julian was hoping for more of an opinion than that. According to Brad, Lucas is on Zillow all the time. Lucas thinks the house has nice bones and a nice layout. Julian asks if he thinks Kim will like it. Lucas thinks she would, but Julian says he doesn’t sound very encouraging. Lucas says it’s great that Julian wants to move in with Kim, but is he sure it’s the right place? Julian asks, why not? and Lucas asks what he’s going to do with all this room? Julian says they can each have a home office, and there’s plenty of room. Leo can have his own room, and maybe he and Kim will want to have their own baby. He’d rather have more space for a family to grow, and there’s plenty of room for Wiley.

Brad tells Obrecht that she can’t say that in front of Wiley, but she says he’s in no position to tell her what to do. She knows his darkest secret, and he tried to silence her. She asks how he found out she knows about Nelle, and he says she was trashed, and poured her heart out to Franco. She didn’t give details, but was wondering if she should tell the truth about Wiley’s real mother. She says so he tried to bury his secret by killing her. Better luck next time. Brad asks where that leaves them. She asks if he expects her to turn the other cheek, and he says, exactly. Now they’re even. She asks, how? and remembers pushing him from the parapet. She says he barely had a scratch; he fell into the hay. He says she didn’t know that would happen. She was trying to protect her own secret. She asks if he wants a truce. He says as long as no one knows who pushed her, and they’re on the same page. The truth about Wiley will never come out. Obrecht says the problem is, they’re not on the same page.

Finn tells Drew the medication Cabot picked up is a key element in the memory transfer serum. He thinks Cabot is formulating a new batch. Drew asks if Finn is assuming Cabot is going to do the procedure on someone else, and Finn can’t think why else he’d risk it. Drew appreciates the heads up.

Jason asks Shiloh, where’s Sam? And pushes Shiloh’s face into the desk. Shiloh says, let him go, and he’ll tell where she is. Jason grabs him up, and pushes him across the room, asking, where is she? Shiloh says, she’s in a secret location, and it’s probably getting stuffy.

Oh – ha-ha! – she’s in a freezer in that pile of stuff outside the old DOD house. She yells, but it’s muffled because of the duct tape over her mouth, and I wonder why she doesn’t just pull that off, since her hands are in front of her and tied at the wrist. Jason asks what Shiloh wants, and Shiloh shows him the flashdrive, saying he planted a decoy. Sam took bait, but he this one is the real deal. Drew’s memories are there, ready to be transferred to the recipient. That’s where Jason comes in.

Neil tells Alexis that’s exactly what he’s talking about; her concern over his well-being interferes with her own. She doesn’t get it. How is she not supposed to care after what he’s done for her family? It’s not her first rodeo. Big surprise, she’s been to therapy before, and hated it. She likes it with him. He treats her like a real person, calls her on her issues, and makes her take responsibility for them. He also doesn’t let her take responsibility for anyone else’s issues. They work well together. He makes her feel like he cares about her as a real person. Neil says he does. That’s why need end this thing before it’s too late. Oh for goodness sake, one of you just ask the other out already.

Back at the hospital, Carly hopes she wasn’t crossing the line with Kim, but wants Kim to know she always has Carly’s family’s support. She’s never alone. Kim thanks her, and asks her to tell Josslyn to come visit whenever she wants. They tell each other, good luck, and Carly leaves. Drew comes over to Kim, and she says she’s glad to see him. There’s something she’d like to tell him. She’s just come to a decision about her future. She’s leaving Port Charles.

Obrecht tells Brad that she’d thought the truth about Wiley’s paternity might prove useful, but she’s grown uneasy. She thinks about Michael mourning his boy, who is very much alive. She almost feels guilty. Brad ask if she’s capable of that, and she asks why he thinks she was venting to Franco in the first place. She’s not used to the sensation. More than that, she must do right by Wiley. Brad says that means Wiley staying with him and Lucas. She says she sees how that works for them, but she’s less certain about Wiley. Brad tells her to think about what it would be like for Wiley in the Corinthos family. He’d be a Quartermaine, but Sonny would consider him a grandson, and he’d be a target for a mob rival. She says, Sonny is very effective in protecting his family, but Brad says, sometimes being loved by a dangerous person puts a target on your back. That’s what happened to her son. She says he has a point. He says, Britt knows everything. Her staying silent is a violation of her parole. She’ll be sent back to jail. Obrecht asks if he’s blackmailing her, and he says, call it what you will. He’s keeping Wiley safe. She says, not safe enough. She’ll keep quiet because Britt’s freedom is at stake. He has a deal.

Julian tells Lucas that Wiley would have his own room if he visits. Or if he and Brad want to get away, Julian can watch him. All of his grandchildren will have their own space. Even for Sam’s children if she allows it. Lucas thinks he should pump the brakes on that front. Julian says he can’t tell Lucas how grateful he is to spend time with his grandson. He wants a legacy to pass down to them. Lucy clears her throat. She asks what they think? Does Lucas approve? Lucas says he does, and she says, fantastic. She’ll get the ball rolling. Julian says, one step at a time. He wants to crunch the numbers, and see what Kim thinks. Lucy says it could be the start of something special for his family. Don’t wait too long. She has to show the house to several prospective buyers. Julian says he’ll let her know when he gets an answer from Kim. When they’re gone, Lucy tells the pile of junk that it’s not helping. It needs to be gone sooner rather than later (another phrase they use a lot on this show).

Sam heard me, and finally takes the tape off of her mouth, but not fast enough. Lucy is back inside. Well, now would be the time to chew the bonds off of her wrists. It’s not even done that well. Come on, Sam. I expect better of you.

Jason says if he goes through with the procedure, how does he know Shiloh will hold up his end of the bargain? Shiloh says Jason has his word, like this means something. He says once Jason is sedated, he’ll give his follower the word, Sam will be released, and Jason will get photo proof. He knows it’s a big sacrifice for Jason to give up his own memories, like a factory reset, but then Drew’s memories can be uploaded in him. Jason grabs Shiloh, and shoves him up against the wall.

Alexis says, so that’s it? No final session? No semblance of closure? Neil doesn’t think that’s wise. She doesn’t think it’s wise of him to abandon her. She’ll have to start from scratch with someone else. He says he’ll leave it to her to find her own therapist. He’s not the right guy. She says, funny. She thinks he is the right guy.

Finn calls Robert, and tells him to use his Bureau contacts and find out why Cabot is back in Port Charles. If his hunch is correct, Cabot plans to do serious damage.

Drew asks Kim, when? and she says, not like tomorrow. She’s been thinking of a plan for a while, and just talked to someone who made sense of what she’s feeling. Drew says he gets it. She could use a fresh start. She says she could, and he hugs her. He says she’d better tell him where she’s heading, and stay in touch. She says she will, and he tells her to take care of herself. She says she’s trying. She watches him walk away. Then she sees Julian.

Obrecht says she must admit, Brad has come a long way from the sniveling lab technician she first met. He says, thank you? She says he threatened his best friend with a lengthy prison sentence to keep Wiley’s mother a secret. Brad says he thinks Britt would understand. He has to look out for his own first. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do to keep Wiley. She says, fine; he has a deal. Carly sees them shake hands. Obrecht tells Brad, good luck. He’s going to need it. Carly is like, hmm…

Jason squeezes Shiloh’s throat. Shiloh says if Jason kills him, Sam dies. If he wants to give her a chance to live, he’ll do what Shiloh is asking.

Sam becomes weak, and passes out. I’m so disappointed in her.

Tomorrow, Alexis says she and Neil have crossed the point of no return, Jason has to make a choice, and Josslyn has a surprise for Cameron.

Below Deck Mediterranean

Travis and João go underwater to check out the anchor. They discover an old anchor in the seabed has latched on, and have to remove it before theirs can be pulled up. João explains they’ll have to tie a line on the old chain, lift it and get their anchor free, then raise their anchor into the pocket, and drop the old chain. Sounds easy, right?

The guests go to town. João explains what’s going on to the captain, and tells Travis what they have to do. In her interview, Captain Sandy says without an anchor, it’s illegal to enter port. She doesn’t want to kill the charter season by leaving it. They begin to lift the chain, and the captain says, please. I guess to God.

Aesha tells us that Monaco is as lush as it gets. You have to be the rich of the rich to live there. In Anastasia’s interview, she says last night, she had issues with the food temperature. It sucks, but she can’t control the distance from the galley to the table. Now the guests are saying she’s a sh*t cook because of it. Even though they’re a little obnoxious, I don’t recall them saying that. João continues to work on freeing the anchor, two hours later.

Anastasia and June get some dessert and coffee. June says she thinks she’s comfortable with the guys. Colin is sweet, but she wishes Hannah would understand she’s trying. Hannah looks at her like she’s an idiot. The anchor finally comes loose, and is brought up. Captain Sandy says, amazing. In his interview, Travis is glad he and João put their differences aside, but just because they worked together, doesn’t mean they’re best mates. The captain tells Hannah that they’re going to Monaco.

June tells Aesha about how her dad got sick suddenly, and passed away. She needed to be strong for her mom. In her interview, she says her dad always told her to stick up for herself, and never let anyone treat her with disrespect. They get some stuff to go.

Hannah talks to Travis, who’s getting tired of running between deck duty and the galley. Hannah says, sometimes you need to complain a bit. In Travis’s interview, he says they’re just friends, but if the opportunity arises, he’d be into shagging. The captain asks for the anchor team. When the anchor is down, she’s happy.

Aesha tells June that Jack is the first person she’s been on a date with who’s similar to her. They walk through the park. Back at the boat, Captain Sandy looks at the wind forecast, and says, holy crap. In her interview, she says, two hours ago, it said the weather was going to be okay. Now, it’s supposed to start blowing around midnight. Sounds like where I live. If she chooses to stay, and it’s sh*t weather, the guests will fear for their lives, and she’s a bad captain. She makes calls to see if she can get a slip. She calls the girls to get the guests, and come back immediately. The weather is coming in fast. Aesha tells June they have to go back. The captain says, the only slip available is in St. Tropez, three hours away.

Captain Sandy tells the deck crew that they need to be St. Tropez by seven, or they’ll lose their slip. The guests return, and the captain explains there’s bad weather coming, and they’re going to St. Tropez. Johnny says Monaco was fabulous. The deck crew gets the tender back on board. In the captain’s interview, she says she’s never missed a docking before, and doesn’t know if they’re going to make it. The guests go into the hot tub. Anastasia says if she can cook crossing the North Sea with a six meter swell, clipped to the galley – we see pictures – she thinks she can handle a swell on a motor yacht. Hannah tells June what kind of glasses they’re using for dinner, and as usual, June is confused.

Jack and Aesha play cards, joke, and kiss. Hannah sees them, and in her interview, she says, they need to realize they’re still in a professional environment. You don’t go into an office and see people making out in the corridors. Do it in your cabin. She tells them, stop smooching, and get back to work. João sees a whale, and everyone checks it out. Captain Sandy tells João he’s winning her over today. One of the guests tells Sandy they don’t care if the boat gets docked, but she says they will. They’ll be up all night going in circles.

The guests dress for dinner. It’s twenty minutes until the slip closes. João is nervous, and says the difference between meters could be a million dollar mistake. The captain asks Travis how close the starboard bow is. It’s close, and she asks for João. The guests don’t think they’ll make it, and a crowd watches from shore. I realize my mouth is hanging open. This is worse than parallel parking. They finally dock, and the captain says, well done. It was their first time docking like that together, and it was amazing. Johnny says, it was cool. Captain Sandy tells João that he did an amazing job. Every word was precise and calm. João thought it was awesome, and feels fantastic. The captain goes on shore for ice cream.

It’s dinner time. In Hanna’s interview, she says the food looks pretty, but pretty don’t fill up an American baseball player. She doesn’t want criticize Anastasia to the point she’s out of her comfort zone, or she might eff up the food. In Anastasia’s interview, she says she’s going for simple and familiar. Italian food is familiar, and reduces the margin of error a little. When the entrée is served, Johnny is hesitant. Hannah asks if he doesn’t like eggplant, and he says he’ll let them know. He tastes it, and he’s okay with it, but says the portion is small. It looks like it would small for me, and he’s a big dude. Hannah radios June. Captain Sandy suggests checking the connection, but Hannah says she has. A lot of times. The captain finds June in the laundry room, and wants to see her radio. João tests it, and June suggests maybe she can’t understand her own name. In June’s interview, she says she wishes Hannah knew that she was a nice girl. She can feel Hannah’s eyeroll. I’m perplexed as to why she thinks being nice is the only job requirement. Although I’m starting to think perhaps she needs a hearing test. Hannah tells João that she’s been dealing with this for days. The guests watch a dance performance on shore from the boat. The captain asks how their dinner was, and Johnny says not as good as way she docked. Jack and Aesha twirl glasses on each other’s private parts, and I literally lol. They’re like two twelve-year-olds.

June is sitting in a corner on deck, and João asks, what’s wrong? She says, it’s just vibe, and he suggests she go sleep, reset, and wake up in her happiest mood. She thanks him for his concern, but says she can handle herself. The conversation is done. Geez. I don’t think it was the best advice, but he didn’t deserve that. He leaves, and in her interview, she says, being the new girl, she doesn’t know who to trust, and thinks she gave João too much information.

An adjacent yacht owner asks to come on board, and one of the guests tells Hannah. In her interview, Hannah wonders if he’ll remember her. Her first charter season, she worked for him. She didn’t want to see him when she was working for him, and doesn’t want to see him now. He apparently doesn’t want us to see him either, since his face is blurred and they bleep his name. Hannah says he had a four-year-old son, and when she told him that he couldn’t wear shoes on deck, he said, they’re not shoes; they’re Toffs. Little pr*ck. No-Name gets on the boat, and gets quickly on a roll about how he’s from Norway, and they love and depend on America, but what the f**k is America doing? He knocks some food on floor, breaking the plate. I’m guessing he’s drunk. Hannah wakes up João, and asks him to come up. Colin tries telling him that they’re closing up, but it doesn’t matter. Hannah tells João that someone invited him on, and asks João to tell him to get the hell off the boat, in a nice way. João says he’s going to quickly make it professional, and changes into his uniform. No-Name asks if they want to come check out his boat. Michelle says she’s in charge, and she says no. He says she’s a lady, and he has respect for that. She tells him, don’t get confused; she’s not a lady, and Johnny isn’t effing going anywhere. Johnny says he’s not messing with her, and she says, it’s not happening. To emphasize her point, she wags her finger in No-Name’s face, and he grabs her arm.

João grabs No-Name from behind in a bear hug, and says he’s going to escort him to his boat. In his interview, João says, forget the job. When he sees a man get physical with a woman, he’s not having it. Anders says he’s sinking No-Name’s boat. Hannah tells him, stop it, and Michelle says she rules this boat, and she can make this sh*t happen. Don’t effing touch her. In Hannah’s interview, she says these people need to understand it’s not Disneyland. It’s St. Tropez, and they don’t act like that here. In Colin’s interview, he says, drunk billionaires, people fighting each other; it’s not something he signed up for. Finally, these jerks go to bed.

In Colin’s interview, he says he’s usually awkward around beautiful women, and he’s most awkward around June. Maybe it’s part of his charm. Breakfast is made. The captain says she heard the guests had an eventful night, but João took care of it. On the bridge, she sees the wind is going to kick up to sixty knots. In her interview, she says the deck crew needs to be ready for anything at a moment’s notice. She can’t miss the window she has to dock, or they’ll be stuck in St. Tropez. She’ll miss the turnaround and the pick-up for the next charter. She tells the guests that they have to leave. Aesha wonders when things changed, and Hannah says it’s not hers to question why. In João’s interview, he says, it’s been the charter from hell. They’re fighting the weather, fighting the anchor, and fighting the owner of the boat next door. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Anchor is up, and they pull out.

Captain Sandy tells Travis that they’re probably going straight to the slip. It’s going to get nasty tonight. Hannah tells Anastasia that they’re just doing one meal. Anastasia says, weird, but okay. She preps, and Travis curses his life. Hannah nearly falls bringing chips and other snacks upstairs. They dock at Port Camille Rayon, and the captain says, another amazing job. Hannah asks if one of the deck crew till pick up provisioning for her, and Colin brings on boxes on board. Anastasia looks inside, and says, they’re alive. She didn’t realize the lobsters would be alive, and doesn’t want to kill them. I very rarely cook anything complicated, but even I know lobster is cooked alive. Does she know clams are too, even though they’re not walking around?

João asks if Anastasia wants him to kill the lobsters for her. In her interview, she says it’s not hard to cook meat as a vegan, but she doesn’t want kill them. João kills and halves them. In his interview, he says in Zimbabwe, they’re primitive. They kill their food, eat their food, and respect where it comes from food. They guests are seated. Anastasia is disgusted by her entire dinner, and Hannah says, that’s encouraging. The first course is sea urchin. Johnny asks who put this on their preference sheet, and Anders says they didn’t come there to be normal. Hannah radios June, who doesn’t respond. In June’s interview, she honestly doesn’t know what’s going on, and doesn’t know why she can’t hear the radio. Anastasia tells Hannah that she can only cook two lobsters at a time. In Hannah’s interview, she says, that’s a no-no on a yacht. A superior chef would know how to work around it. It’s where Anastasia is lacking. Regardless, it looks really good.

Aesha and Jack sneak kisses. Johnny wants his lobster cooked more. He wants it perfect, and needs everything super warm. He can’t eat it. João eats gummy bears. I recognize the bag. Travis tells Anastasi to take a break, and she lies down on the dock. She says, horrible. Hannah sits with her, and says, killing animals is something you need to do as a chef, like you have to go out and shoot bear or something. The guests turn in before midnight.

Travis says he envies Anastasia. He feels she’s used her time well. She hugs him, and he says she’s an intelligent, strong woman; he respects that a lot. Not just with cooking. She’s done good things with her life. She appreciates that a lot. June tells Aesha that Hannah hurt her feelings. Aesha says she’s sorry, and hugs June. June says, Hannah’s attitude isn’t necessary. The captain sees all of the chairs pulled away from the table, and radios June. There’s no answer, and she finds June in the laundry room. June says her radio is charging, and the chairs are out because she just vacuumed. The captain says she needs to push them back in now. In her interview, Captain Sandy says, if a crew member doesn’t answer the radio, it’s her pet peeve. She gives June her radio, and says she must listen and answer Hannah or feel the wrath of the captain.

Antibes. June promises nothing was coming through, and the captain says they’ll trade radios for the rest of the season. And she’d better answer it. Jack and Aesha steal more kisses. In Aesha’s interview, she says she’s having fun with him, and wants to get to know him better, but they haven’t even banged yet. In Anastasia’s interview, she says she’s completely rattled. She wants the guests to have a good meal, and get off the boat. Anastasia brings up the eggs benedict, and asks if they want anything else. One guest ants potatoes, and she says it will be about ten minutes. The captain asks if he knows he can order what he wants, and he says he just found that out. Captain Sandy asks Hannah if the guests knew they could get what they want. Hannah says they’ve been told. In her interview, the captain says they don’t tell the guests; they ask. That’s a huge problem for her. She tells Anastasia to put on her jacket when dealing with the guests. In Anastasia’s interview, she says she’s over it, and needs them to go.

The crew gets into their whites. The captain asks the guests how it was, and one of the dudes asks if she wants to know the truth. She says the only way they can improve is if they’re told the truth. Anders says France has some of the best food in the world, and it wasn’t five-star. He was surprised. The captain asks if it was the quality, but Johnny says he has to eat hot food. Anders says their expectations were higher, and Johnny says they needed bigger portions. Michelle says they expected five-star, and it wasn’t. In Captain Sandy’s interview, she says, promoting Anastasia may have been a been a mistake.

Next time, a resort day for the crew, João wonders where Aesha and Jack’s shame is, a hair is found in the food, and the captain asks João to reign in the guests in on the jet skis.

😮 Who Knew There Were So Many…

The songs about Tuesday are endless, and I do love Bowling For Soup.
