Monday:

No new soap because, Memorial Day.

Tuesday:

Alexis asked Kristina and Molly to come by because she needed help with Danny. She’d thought he was okay until he asked Sonny for a job.

Sonny told Laura that Britt’s phone call was the break they’d been looking for, but she said they already knew Sidwell killed Dalton. Sonny said people like Pascal did Sidwell’s dirty work. All they had to do was get Pascal to turn on Sidwell.

Pascal gave Sidwell a copy of Marco’s autopsy report that came in the mail.

Carly and Lucas met at Bobbie’s and she told him about an available apartment. She begged him to move out of Windymere.

Nathan met Obrecht for lunch at Bobbie’s and he told her that he and Lulu were no longer together. Things had become too complicated and Lulu broke up with him.

Charlotte and Danny met Lulu at her house, and Lulu asked if Rocco told them his plans, but they said no.

Dante gave Chase two broken phones and asked him to run the serial numbers. Chase said he was looking into a one-way ticket to Berlin that had been purchased, checking security cameras for facial recognition, and had the passports recorded as fake. Dante told Fitzpatrick that he wanted a search warrant for Britt’s residence.

Dante called Lulu and asked her to come to the station.

Sonny told Laura that they had to get Pascal to talk and he could be persuasive. Laura blamed herself, but he said she had nothing to be sorry for. He wasn’t leaving her to deal with Sidwell by herself. Pascal was the target. They’d use him to get the evidence Sidwell had against them, and then they would have the upper hand.

Ava went to see Sidwell and he told her about the autopsy report. He’d been waiting for it, but now he couldn’t open it. Ava told him, don’t open it. She hadn’t looked at Kiki’s autopsy. It would have broken her heart and wouldn’t bring back her daughter. Sidwell said he needed to know exactly how his son died and how his final moments were. Maybe he could find a clue that the police overlooked. She asked if they’d made progress, and he said, some. They believed Marco knew his killer, and the prevailing theory was that it had been a crime of passion. It haunted him. Ava wondered if it was possible there was someone in Marco’s life other than Lucas.

Lucas told Carly that he wasn’t ready to move on from where he and Marco were happy. She said Marco had made poor choices like getting involved in his father’s business. Just because Sidwell was grieving didn’t mean Lucas should trust him.

Nathan said Lulu made it clear they had no future, and Obrecht said it was Lulu’s loss. Fitzpatrick came in with another cop and told Carly that they had a warrant to search the premises.

Alexis told Kristina and Molly that Sonny turned Danny down, but there were other issues. He’d been in a fight at school and gotten suspended. He and Charlotte got caught breaking into Windymere. She was worried that he kept doing dangerous things and wondered what she was supposed to do. Send him to boarding school?

Charlotte said she really didn’t know anything, and Danny said him neither. He felt badly that he hadn’t been there for Rocco, and Charlotte said, ever since the night Rocco cut his hand, he’d been acting weird. She was pretty sure their mom knew what was happening.

Chase confirmed that one phone was Rocco’s and the second phone was Britt’s, and Dante wondered if them leaving had been planned or spur of the moment. Lulu showed up, and Dante told her that Rocco had disappeared with Britt.

Alexis said it was the last thing she wanted to do, but didn’t know how to stop Danny, and Molly said Danny belonged with family. Kristina agreed, and Alexis said she was out of ideas. Danny was headed for trouble and she didn’t know how to stop him. Molly said it was understandable he’d act out since he’d been through a lot, and Alexis said Danny didn’t understand she was on his side. It would be better for him to talk to his younger, hipper aunts. Kristina suggested Alexis not say hipper and told her to have faith in him.

Sidwell told Ava that it had crossed his mind there had been someone else, but he didn’t believe it. At least not in Port Charles. Ava said, what about Miami? Someone from his past. Sidwell said Marco had never mentioned anyone, but Ava said it could have been a fling or someone whose feelings weren’t reciprocated or acknowledged. Jealousy was a strong, blinding emotion. It drove people mad. She should know.

Fitzpatrick told Carly that the warrant was for a room upstairs, when Nathan asked what was going on. Fitzpatrick said they needed to search Britt’s room, and Obrecht asked why. Fitzpatrick told Nathan to go to the station with his mother.

Dante told Lulu that he’d found Elizabeth locked in Britt’s office bathroom. She’d said she thought Rocco and Britt left together. Chase asked about aliases, and Lulu told him about the passport under the name of Tyler Anderson. Dante said Britt had gotten it for Rocco. (Nice of him to throw Britt under the bus.)

Laura said it was possible Pascal had access to the photos, and Sonny said once they got the evidence, they could go after Sidwell. Laura asked what they knew about Pascal, and Sonny said he was French (they laughed), he’d been working for Sidwell for years, and he stayed at Spoon Island. He didn’t go to the mainland much. Laura wondered if there was anybody else who’d dealt with Pascal who’d be willing to help, and Sonny said, Ava. Laura said she trusted Ava, but Sonny said he didn’t. Laura said there was Lucy, but she was a wildcard. Sonny asked if Lucas didn’t still live at Windymere.

Ava told Sidwell that there was a time when she and her daughter were involved with the same man. She’d done things she deeply regretted, and jealousy made her brother Julian do things he would have never done if he’d been thinking clearly. Sidwell said it didn’t make sense, and she suggested he tell the cops to take a closer look at Marco’s life in Miami. He said, what if the jealous lover was Lucas?

Carly told Lucas that the police were probably onto Britt. She had no Jason to hide behind. Lucas said Britt had been through a lot and she was trying to be a decent person, but Carly said he used to hate Britt. What changed? He said he stop seeing things in black and white. Britt wasn’t as awful as he’d thought and he was no better than she was. Carly said he was worth ten Britt Westbournes, but he said they’d both made choices they regretted.

Charlotte told Danny about Rocco listening to his parents fight, and Danny said there seemed to be so much he wasn’t telling them. Charlotte wondered why he’d leave without telling them or saying goodbye, and Danny said, maybe he did and they didn’t see it. Charlotte suggested they check their socials and texts, and they did, but neither of them found anything. Charlotte said, wait… Rocco had sent an email to her school account 15 minutes ago.

Lulu told Chase that she’d found the passport and confiscated it, but then it went missing. Nathan came in with Obrecht, and Lulu said Britt had kidnapped her son and locked Elizabeth in the bathroom. Dante asked if Obrecht or Nathan knew they were planning on leaving, and Nathan said if Britt had told him, he would have stopped her. Obrecht said, if anyone was to blame, it was Lulu. Lulu tried to keep Rocco from his mother and it backfired, driving them closer. Britt had lost her love Jason and Lulu had kept her from her child. Lulu said Britt wasn’t Rocco’s mother, and Obrecht wondered why Rocco chose to leave with Britt. Dante said if she knew something she wasn’t telling him, he’d arrest her for obstruction of justice, and she said she wouldn’t tell him if she did know something. Nathan suggested they go into the interrogation room and see if she could remember something, and they left. Lulu told Dante that she knew Obrecht was right. It was all her fault.

Alexis said she had faith in Danny, but not enough to protect him from himself or the rest of the world, and Kristina said she knew how Danny felt. The more pressure she’d gotten as a kid, the more she rebelled. Molly said her experience growing up was different. Alexis had given her space when she was upset. Alexis said she hadn’t needed to worry about Molly, but Kristina said, knowing Alexis had faith in Molly, brought out the best in her. Jason trusted Danny, and when Danny messed up, they talked it through. Danny knew there were rules and consequences, but knew that he could go to his dad with anything and Jason would never take away his freedom.

Ava told Sidwell, absolutely not. Lucas saved lives. He didn’t take them. He wasn’t capable of harming someone, especially someone he loved. Sidwell apologized, and she said it was obvious Lucas and Marco loved each other. Maybe there was a lonely outsider who was jealous and was pushed over the edge. Pascal brought in refreshments, but Ava said she had to get to an appointment. She suggested Sidwell not look at the autopsy. It would only bring him more pain.

Carly asked Lucas what was going on. He’d stood by Marco and loved him. She was sorry Marco died before Lucas’s faith in him had been justified. Lucas said that’s where she was wrong. Marco did prove himself and it cost him his life.

Alexis asked if she had to be more like Jason, but Molly said she thought Alexis was doing better than she realized. Kristina said they’d work together to keep Danny safe, and Alexis thanked them. She said Ava was on her way, when there was a knock at the door. Alexis let Ava in, and Kristina and Molly left. Alexis told Ava that she was going on a trip, and Ava asked if Alexis wanted her to water the plants, but Alexis said, no. Ava was coming with her.

Lucas told Carly that when he and Marco had it out, he told Marco that he knew about the lies and threatened to leave. Marco was willing to do anything to make him stay, so he gave Marco another chance. Marco had been doing something really important and good, and doing it for him, but he’d gotten killed before he finished it. Now Lucas had to try to finish it. Carly said, what exactly? but Lucas told her that he couldn’t say. He’d heard everything she said and loved her for caring and worrying, but this was something he needed to do for Marco.

In a back hallway at the station, Dante said Lulu got Rocco a fake passport. They were going to leave town. What was the plan? Lulu said she’d never wanted to use them, but was desperate and scared. She didn’t tell Dante because she was afraid he’d take the passports, but she’d go even further if it kept Rocco safe. Dante said he would too, and Lulu said she was sorry she didn’t give him a chance. It was unfair and stupid. Rocco didn’t feel like he had her, and she didn’t let him have Dante. He’d felt Britt was the only person he could turn to. Dante said he wanted them to work together, and Lulu said her too. They had to find their son. Dante said, whatever it takes, and they hugged.

Laura said Lucas still lived at Windymere and had as much contact with Pascal as Ava and Lucy and was the most trustworthy of the three, and Sonny asked if she thought he’d be willing to help them. She said she thought he’d put his bad feelings about Sonny aside if they were working for a common goal. She’d talk to him. Her phone dinged, and Lulu said it was about Rocco.

Obrecht was annoyed that Nathan sided with Dante and Lulu and brought her in there like a common criminal. He said there was nothing common about her. They had to find Britt or she’d die from Huntington’s. He needed to know if Britt had told her anything.

Charlotte and Danny arrived at the station, and Charlotte told Lulu that she got a message from Rocco.

Outside Bobbie’s, Molly said Danny needed to know he could come to them, and Kristina suggested they take him to dinner, when her phone chimed. She stared at it, and Molly wondered what was going on. Kristina said she took a chance and got accepted into medical school.

Ava asked where Alexis thought she was going. Was it another kidnapping? Alexis said, not this time. They were going to Manhattan. She wanted Ava to deal with the Hammet gallery. She needed to get information on the mother of the child her clients wanted to adopt, and needed Ava’s expertise of the art world. Ava said she had commitments, but Alexis said she wasn’t moving there. Ava would be doing this for an innocent child. An all-expense paid trip courtesy of the Quartermaine jet. A five-star hotel, and she’d throw in the mini bar. Ava said she could move some things around on her schedule… only for the good of the child.

Sonny assumed Sidwell was the reason Britt and Rocco left, and Laura said he was their grandson. Sonny said whatever she needed, he’d provide, but they needed to focus on Sidwell. She said as long as Sidwell was a threat, Britt wasn’t coming back.

Sidwell said he’d demanded the autopsy be expedited and here he sat unable to look at it, and Pascal suggested burning it, but Sidwell said, no. For now put it in the safe. When he was ready, he’d learn about Marco’s final moments. He’d do what it took to find Marco’s killer. He flashed back to Nathan saying that there was a problem with Lucas’s timeline. He’d disappeared from his shift at the hospital during the time Marco was murdered, and they couldn’t account for his whereabouts.

Lucas said he needed to stay at Windymere, but he couldn’t tell Carly why. He had to finish what Marco started. She needed to trust him. She said, if Sidwell turned on him, if Sidwell suspected him of anything, whatever it took, she’d stop him. He said, her and what army? and she said she had resources. He said, Sonny? and she said, among others.

Obrecht said she meant it when she said she didn’t know anything, but was confused by Nathan’s concern about Britt’s health. The Huntington’s hadn’t progressed and she wasn’t experiencing symptoms. Why did he think Britt’s health would deteriorate if she left Port Charles? There was a great deal he hadn’t told her.

Charlotte said it was a video message, and Lulu asked if they could tell where Rocco was, but Dante said it was a virtual background. They turned on the video, and Rocco told his mom and dad that he was going away with Britt. It was his decision. No one forced him and he had to fight with Britt to take him with her. Don’t hate her and don’t look for them. He was fine and it was his choice. He loved them both and was sorry. To his mom, he said, remember, not all who wander are lost. Dante said, it could be coerced, but Lulu said, it wasn’t. When she and Lucky were kids, they had a code phrase from their parents. She did the same with Charlotte and Rocco. Not all who wander are lost was Rocco’s way of signaling that he was safe. No one was making him do anything. Rocco wanted to be with Britt.

Wednesday:

Molly grabbed Kristina’s phone and said, this is real. They went into Bobbie’s and Molly announced Kristina’s acceptance to medical school to the entire restaurant.

Ric went to see Elizabeth and said a nurse told him that she’d been brutally attacked, but Elizabeth said that was an exaggeration. Britt locked her in the bathroom when she tried to stop Britt leaving with Rocco.

Lulu and Dante had no luck finding other clues about where Rocco might have gone, and Dante said the message let them know he was okay for now. Lulu said they should bring in the FBI, but Dante said that would put Rocco’s life in danger.

Gio visited Sonny and told him that Rocco left.

Kai met Emma at Bobbie’s and said he wanted to give Gio a heads up. Trina was having major family drama and he was worried it would end her singing career before it started.

Trina went to see Jordan, and asked what happened. Curtis joined them and said he’d punched Isaiah and had a good reason for doing it.

Turner wanted to go over Isaiah’s statement with Portia, and Portia asked if charges were going to be pressed. Isaiah wondered if he got a say, but Turner told him, at this point in the process, no. She’d decide if there was a case based on evidence and witness reports.

Gio asked if Sonny had spoken to Dante, but Sonny said he wanted to do some digging first. He wondered if Gio knew something that indicated where Rocco was going, but Gio said Rocco didn’t trust him anymore since he’d ratted him out to Dante.

Dante told Lulu that if they told the FBI, they might as well tell the WSB. Cullum was close to finding out Rocco shot him and maybe Britt knew. Lulu said they had to find their son before Cullum did.

Molly wanted to order pie all around on her, but Kristina said she needed a minute. Molly wondered how this came about, and Kristina said she studied, applied, and got in. She’d studied every chance she got. No one knew, even their mom or her dad. She’d wanted to challenge herself to see if she could do it. Molly said no one casually applied to medical school. How long had she been working on it? Kristina said, since they’d lost the baby.

Kai told Emma that when Isaiah broke his fall, he messed up his hand, and Trina was caught between her parents. Emma said Trina would be worried that the focus wouldn’t be on the showcase, but her parents, and Kai said it meant a lot that Trina was finally doing something just for her. Emma said, and her future, and he said Trina could be consumed with family issues and blow the entire thing.

Trina asked if Curtis thought Isaiah was the other driver, but Curtis said he was sure. She asked if Isaiah had confessed, and Curtis said he’d admitted to getting a car repair, but claimed it was from a scratch in the parking garage. Jordan said the timing was suspect and Isaiah wasn’t saying where he was, and Trina said, but there was no evidence. Curtis said the thought that Isaiah was covering infuriated him, then Isaiah said he’d be a better father than him and he lost it. Trina said, so Isaiah provoked him, and Curtis said, Isaiah wanted a fight, so he gave Isaiah what he asked. However, he didn’t mean to break Isaiah’s hand. Trina asked how much trouble he was in.

Isaiah said Curtis got in his face, and flashed back to the fight. Turner asked if Curtis might have felt like he was in imminent danger, and Isaiah said he stood his ground, but made no physical contact. He wasn’t a violent person. Portia said she agreed to Isaiah’s account of the events.

Curtis said his arraignment was later today, but Jordan said she didn’t think Turner would take it any further. She was fair and based cases on evidence. It had been heated on both sides. Curtis said he’d been provoked, and Jordan thought that would be a mitigating circumstance and the worst case would be Curtis getting a fine and community service. Trina asked, what if Turner prosecuted? but Curtis said that wasn’t going to happen.

Elizabeth told Ric that she’d confronted Britt about the fake passport, and Britt shoved her into the bathroom. She fell and hit her head, but it was only a headache and the doctor told her to just take it easy. Ric said Britt wasn’t getting away with it. He’d file a lawsuit and take the hospital to the cleaners. Elizabeth said it wasn’t serious and she wasn’t interested in suing Britt or the hospital she loved. Her only concern was Rocco.

Emma wondered if they should talk to Brook, but Kai said the executives had already accepted the showcase. If they cancelled… She said, Brook might not convince them to give Trina another shot. If they couldn’t postpone, maybe Trina could use the family drama to her advantage and take her performance to another level. He said the showcase could change Trina’s life entirely and give her a new future. It would kill him if she lost out.

Gio told Sonny that when he saw Rocco, Rocco said he was upset about Danny and Charlotte, but obviously something else was going on. He’d promised to keep the conversation between them. Sonny said, but he told Dante, and Gio said he thought Dante should know. Sonny said Gio did the right thing, but Gio said Sonny didn’t see Rocco’s face when he broke his word. Rocco would never trust him again. Sonny said Gio and Rocco were brothers and would rebuild the trust. Look at him and Ric. He was going to find Rocco. Gio said he was worried that he’d made Rocco feel like the only person he could turn to was Britt.

Lulu said she should have left town with their son. Even Dante had to agree Rocco was better off with her than Britt. Dante said Rocco was better off with both of them, and she said he was right. Dante said when Lulu called, he’d been about to get in touch with his dad to see if Sonny could help them disappear, and she asked why he’d changed his mind. He said she’d made a good case about leaving town and told her that he had to go. She said, not without her.

Isaiah told Turner that Curtis was furious and out of control, continuing to goad him after he hit the ground. Curtis saw he was injured and didn’t care. There was no remorse. Turner asked if it was just one punch, and Isaiah said it caused severe damage to his hand. He had eleven fractures and two severed tendons. Portia said he’d need multiple surgeries, and he said he’d been scheduled to do a liver transplant on a ten-year-old who desperately needed it. Portia said the surgery was highly specialized and complex. Isaiah had the highest success rate in the country and it might be difficult finding a suitable replacement. Turner thanked them and said she’d be in touch when she made her decision. She left, and Isaiah said now he had something even harder to do.

Dante said, Britt would lay down her life to protect Rocco, but Lulu said, Rocco wouldn’t be in this mess if Britt had left him alone. This was the second time she’d stolen Rocco because of her sick obsession to be his mother. Dante suggested they channel their energy into tracking Rocco down, and she asked where they started.

Kristina said Molly didn’t need to know the details, but Molly said she wanted to. Talking about their daughter was important and kept her memory alive. Kristina said she thought a lot about her time in the hospital after the accident. A lot of days she didn’t care about anything, especially herself, but the doctors cared so much, some days it was the only thing that kept her going. Later, when the grief wasn’t so crushing, she kept coming back to her time in the hospital, even before then. The doctors had made a huge impact on her life and she wanted to make a real measurable difference in a person’s life. Molly said she could, but Kristina said, but she wouldn’t because she wasn’t going to become a doctor.

Sonny said Gio couldn’t blame himself. Rocco would have gone anyway. Rocco may not understand now, but would eventually know Gio was a good brother looking out for him. Gio asked if Sonny thought Rocco would be okay with Britt, and Sonny said she’d keep him safe. In her misguided way, she loved him. Sit tight and he’d take care of everything.

Trina left, and Curtis told Jordan that he hated that Trina was stuck in the middle again. Jordan said they could do what they could to make it better, starting with letting go of the idea that Isaiah left the scene of the accident. He asked where the justice was in that. She deserved better. She said, maybe, but there was no evidence to support the claim and without proof, what was the point in pursuing it? If they continued, it would cause division in the family and no one wanted that with the baby coming. That’s where their focus needed to be. He said he heard her, but he’d almost lost her because of Isaiah’s cowardly action. He wouldn’t let it go.

Kai told Isaiah that he’d promised Derek a game ball, but Isaiah said right now wasn’t the best time to visit. He’d had to explain to Derek’s family that Derek’s surgery would likely be postponed because he broke his hand. Kai asked if Derek would be okay, but Isaiah said he honestly didn’t know.

Trina went to Portia’s office and said she’d come from seeing her dad at Jordan’s. He’d told her why he thought Isaiah was involved in the accident. Portia said Isaiah told her that he wasn’t driving the other care and there was no proof. Curtis had no right to attack him. Trina said she wasn’t defending his actions, but didn’t want things worse with the family.

Ric said he was sorry for overreacting, but when he heard Elizabeth was hurt, he’d panicked. Every time they were in a good place, something happened to mess it up and it had always been his fault. She said she was sorry he’d worried, but she wasn’t going anywhere. For what it was worth (🍷), the good thing about them was that they might be able to make it work this time. They kissed.

Dante asked, if Jason was going to Canada, what route would he take? and Sonny asked if he thought Britt would use the same path. Dante said there was a good chance, and Sonny said he knew someone who could help.

At Bobbie’s, Gio told Emma that Rocco chose to go with Britt. He looked at her like a second mom. Emma said Britt wasn’t, but Gio said maybe she was what Rocco needed. Emma said she didn’t think so.

Sonny told Dante and Lulu that he’d call a professional, and expert in tracking down people, whose skills he respected. If they wanted to do their own search, they needed to reconsider. Something bad happened on the pier, and it wasn’t a coincidence they disappeared after Cullum was released. Dante asked if he thought Cullum was a threat too, and Sonny said it was easy to assume Britt was in danger. He just wanted Lulu to know that Cullum had eyes on her too. If they went after Britt and Rocco, Cullum would be on their trail. That meant they’d be leading Cullum straight to Britt and Rocco.

Molly asked why Kristina wouldn’t be a doctor. She’d worked her butt off and now had an amazing opportunity she wanted to let pass by. Kristina said there were a thousand reasons why. For one, the Corinthos-Davis house just got off the ground. Molly said Kristina told her that she wanted to focus on Charlie’s. Would she rather serve pints than practice medicine? Kristina said it was the first place that was truly hers. It was a difficult decision and if she was far away, she wouldn’t be there to help their mom. Molly said she would help their mom wrangle Danny, but Kristina said she didn’t trust herself to finish medical school.

Curtis said he had nightmares about not getting Jordan out, but Jordan said she survived because of him. He said he wanted to do everything he could to help, and she said, what would help was leaving the past and focusing on the future. He said she would be sacrificing justice for herself in order to maintain peace in his family, but she said she wasn’t. She was making sure not to get stuck in that night and making it the entirety of her existence, rather than moving forward with their lives, and he said, for her sake, he was willing to try. She said hopefully, they could put it behind them once they were through with his arraignment.

Isaiah told Kai that they were trying to find another surgeon for Derek, but the surgery was complex and needed the right skill set and experience. This was his specialty and he had a relationship with the family. Kai asked how he took the news, and Isaiah said Derek’s parents were disappointed and scared, but Derek tried to make him feel better. If anything happened to this kid, it was his fault. He’d let Derek down. Kai said Curtis shouldn’t have hit him. If he hadn’t, Isaiah’s hand wouldn’t have been damaged. Isaiah said he shouldn’t have pushed Curtis’s buttons and he wished he would have kept his mouth shut. He wasn’t the only one suffering. Derek was too.

Portia asked if Trina was telling her to ask Isaiah to let it go, and Trina said she wanted peace in the family, especially with the baby coming. Portia said she didn’t want stress either, but Isaiah had every right to be angry. He’d sustained a major injury. His hand wasn’t just broken. He may never be able to operate again and his entire career could be over. She didn’t think it was fair to ask him to forgive and forget. Not this time. Trina said she was sorry, but she was worried about her dad’s arraignment today, and Portia said she didn’t think it was a good idea for Trina to get in the middle. Trina said the baby would be in the middle too, unless Portia could convince Isaiah to show mercy. If not her, then who?

Gio told Emma that Rocco was hurting, but he was smart and thoughtful and made his own choice to deal with what he was going through. He had faith in Rocco. Emma said he always managed to find the positive. Like when he saw that her grandma was still herself despite her circumstances. She was back at the clinic now and safe. Gio’s positivity would help his dad too. Gio thanked her for being supportive and said he was lucky to have her in his life. She said she felt the same way, and they kissed.

Kristina said she didn’t see things through and was a total flake, but Molly said she didn’t think that was true. Kristina said everyone else did and they weren’t wrong. She didn’t know how to commit. She couldn’t even commit to Molly and TJ (🦉) about the most important thing. Molly said Kristina didn’t see this or herself accurately. She just mentioned two huge accomplishments, and the most important thing was her committing to their daughter. She did that and if those memories of the experience led her to this point, she’d see this through. She had faith (WOTD) in those memories and in Kristina. And she and their daughter would keep her going until she realized she could keep going herself and they’d just been keeping her company. She took Kristina’s hand.

Dante said, them going to look for Rocco was the same as telling the FBI, and Sonny said that’s why he was hiring a professional who worked under the radar. He knew it was a difficult for them to sit back, but it was best for Rocco’s safety. Lulu asked who the professional was, and Sonny said his name was Brick. Brick had been his associate for years. Lulu said Carly had mentioned him and asked if Brick didn’t have a background in intelligence. Sonny said Brick worked in surveillance and security. He would be able to find Rocco and not tip off Cullum. Dante said Brick was their best chance, and Sonny said he had complete faith in Brick. Lulu said they’d go with Brick and asked Sonny to keep them updated. Dante thanked Sonny, and Sonny said he loved his grandson and would do what he could to bring him home safe. He promised.

Ric asked how Elizabeth got out, and she said Dante rescued her. He said his brother must be frantic, and Elizabeth said it was a complicated situation. Rocco was going through a tough time, but Dante was a great dad and a good guy. She felt bad for him. Ric said, and Lulu too? and she said, mm-hmm, as she put an icepack on her head and closed her eyes.

Isaiah asked Portia if everything was okay, and she said Trina was there. He asked if they fought about him, but she said it was just mother/ daughter stuff. Nothing to worry about.

Trina found Kai at the hospital and said she’d come to see her mom, but remembered he was visiting Derek. How was Derek doing? Kai said he didn’t see Derek. Derek had gotten some bad news. There was a chance he wouldn’t get his liver transplant. They were scrambling to find another surgeon. Trina said, because Isaiah broke his hand, but Kai said Isaiah’s hand got broken because Trina’s dad attacked him. She said, it was one punch, but he said, because of the one punch, Derek might not get the transplant and could die.

Jordan’s doorbell rang, and she opened the door to Turner. Turner said she knew they were on the way to Curtis’s arraignment, but because they were friends, she wanted to give Jordan a heads up. Curtis came out, and Turner said she was sorry, but Curtis was going to be charged with felony assault and battery.

Thursday:

Brook found Amelia’s Mr. Snuggles with Phoebe and told Chase that she hoped they could give Phoebe a big extended family. He said she was meant to be theirs.

Trina went to Bobbie’s and told Gio she didn’t think she could make it to rehearsal.

At Alexis’s, Molly was on the phone about the cover of her book. She wanted it more contemporary sexy, a true romance and not a series of sex scenes. She told Cody that they’d agreed to work on an alternate cover, but he didn’t understand why she didn’t lean into the sexy.

Curtis told Michael about the charges against him and said he didn’t mean to hurt Isaiah that bad. He’d lost his temper, but didn’t completely regret it, especially after what Isaiah did to Jordan.

Willow told Drew that she knew he hated being helpless, but Sidwell was calling the shots and it was hell for her too. But she was working on something that would hopefully free them both.

Trina thought going forward, her family would have peace, and Gio said she deserved a break. She told him about Derek and how he couldn’t have his surgery. It was a rare procedure and Isaiah was one of the few specialists who could perform it. She couldn’t sleep thinking how scared he must be, and he was in this situation because of her father.

Curtis said it would be a public relations disaster for Aurora, but Michael said he was more worried about Curtis. Curtis said if things went sideways, he could be in serious legal trouble, and Michael said he had Curtis’s back since Curtis had stood by him. Curtis said the difference was, Michael didn’t shoot Drew, but he did hit Isaiah.

Tracy said Amelia left her favorite stuffed animal behind, and Chase offered to take it to Willow. He left, and Brook told Tracy that Alexis was in New York City because she had a lead on Delilah. Tracy asked about their chances for adoption, and Brook said Alexis thought they were the prefect candidates. Tracy asked if Brook wasn’t glad she’d listened to her about keeping quiet about Jordan’s accident.

Cody told Molly that he was rereading his favorite parts and asked if she’d written the scene in the hayloft after they… She said, no. It was the other way around. She’d suggested they do what Maddie and Casey did in the book and it had exceeded her fantasies. She thought they should recreate all the scenes, and he said he thought they owed it to themselves. They kissed.

Willow said she didn’t want Drew to suffer. He knew what he did and the kids were with her now. She wasn’t prepared for Sidwell making her take his seat in congress, but it turned out that she was really good at it. She liked representing the people of Port Charles. She actually listened to their wants and needs, unlike him, who devoted his time and energy into personal payback. She wanted to continue to keep the seat, but they’d cross that bridge when they came to it. She’d stop the injections if she could trust him to walk away and leave her alone, but they both knew he wouldn’t. He wouldn’t forgive her for not needing him to be happy. She couldn’t free him until she could force him out of her life for good with something so incriminating he wouldn’t come after her. The doorbell rang and she opened the door to Sidwell, who said he had more important things to deal with. What was so bloody important?

Willow said she heard Chief Brennan had been transferred to Turning Woods. Both he and Drew collapsing in the same house and getting Locked-in Syndrome was suspicious, too suspicious to be sustained. Sidwell said she got herself into this mess when she accidently dosed the WSB chief in her home, so the result was on her. She needed to keep Drew dosed and dozing. She could keep giving him the drug indefinitely since there were no long term side effects. He couldn’t talk if he couldn’t speak. Enjoy the quiet since she didn’t have to listen to him talk about how everyone was against him. He was less of a bother this way, more like a potted plant. His phone rang and he said he needed to take it privately, so Willow took Drew back to the bedroom. Sidwell asked if they had the package… There seemed to be some confusion. They’d been tasked to track down Dr. Westbourne, not her car. Unless they wanted to be abandoned in Ohio in the trunk of her car, find her and bring her back now.

Tracy said Brook wasn’t responsible for Curtis losing his temper. Focus on Phoebe. Chase came back and asked why Brook didn’t tell him that something was wrong with her car.

Cody consulted Molly’s manuscript and they got busy. Her arms full of files, Suzanne let herself in. Seeing them, she dropped everything.

Suzanne apologized and said Alexis had given her the key so she could drop off the files. Molly said it was okay, and Suzanne said she’d loved Molly’s book. She wouldn’t mind meeting a man like Casey… She looked at Cody and said, oh my God. He’s you.

Trina said she’d known it was bad, but never thought her dad was violent. He’d only hit Isaiah once. The injury was a fluke… She realized she was still defending her dad, and Gio said because he was her dad. She said she loved her dad. They’d come a long way. It had been hard in the beginning, but once she’d accepted him as her father, she’d always taken his side, even between him and her mom. She’d always assumed he was in the right. She’d told her mom to ask Isaiah to go easy on him, but then she heard about Derek and it expanded her take. It didn’t stop her from loving her father, but she couldn’t believe he lost control and now other people were suffering.

Curtis said it had been six weeks since the accident and every day he tried to figure out all the evidence against Isaiah, and Michael asked what evidence he had. Curtis said Isaiah’s car had scratches that he claimed he got in the parking garage, but the other driver had hit the guardrail and they’d found black paint. Michael asked how he knew it was Isaiah’s car, and Curtis said he didn’t for certain, but Isaiah drove a black BMW. He’d said he was with a private patient, but wouldn’t give them the name. Michael said Isaiah couldn’t divulge that, but Curtis said he could ask the patient’s permission. He knew for sure Isaiah’s cabin was off Route 91 and there was no traffic on that road at night.

Chase said he heard a rattle in the passenger door, and Brook said she’d never noticed. Was it a big deal? Tracy said, safety first, and Chase said he had an errand to run before his shift. The doorbell rang and he said he’d get it since he was on his way out. Tracy told Brook that the idiots fixing the door broke something, and Chase opened the door to Portia, who asked to speak to Tracy. Chase told her that Tracy was in the living room, picked up Mr. Snuggles, and left. Portia said she was glad she caught Brook too, and thanked her for setting up Trina’s showcase. She was hoping the Quartermaines could help with something.

Gio told Trina that if she needed a few days to regroup, he totally understood. They’d still have time to rehearse. Trina said she didn’t think there was going to be a showcase.

Sidwell said he had to get back, and Willow asked what they were going to do. He said they were going to do nothing. She would do what she was told and never waste his time again. Willow said he used her influence in congress and if it came out that she’d drugged her husband, he could no longer use her. Sidwell said, then stop drugging him, and she asked if he’d found leverage, but he said he could guarantee Drew would be quiet once he was dead.

Cody told Suzanne, yes, but Molly said Casey was fiction. Cody said Casey was loosely based on him, but was ultimately the product of Molly’s imagination, and Suzanne said Molly was so talented. She felt like she knew Casey. Molly thanked her, and Suzanne congratulated her on the book. Good for Cody for vaguely inspiring a wonderful character. She left, and Molly and Cody laughed.

Trina told Gio that she was going to tell Brook to cancel the showcase. It was the last thing she should be focusing on and a waste of time. He said it was up to her of course (🍷), but he didn’t think it was a waste of time for either of them. She said it seemed trivial, and he asked how cancelling would help her parents or Derek. She said she guessed it wouldn’t, and he asked how it would help her. How would she feel not doing it? How would her parents or Derek feel if they knew? She said, they wouldn’t know, and he said it would have no bearing on them. He’d been a musician most of his life and the best part about music was that it expressed things there were no words for. It wasn’t trivial. When his life turned upside down, he’d stopped playing completely, and realized it was a mistake. Be smarter than he was and use it to help her get through this.

Portia told Tracy and Brook about Derek and said she had permission to discuss the case. There were a number of complex factors, which was why he’d been referred to Dr. Gannon. He was a specialist and only one of a few who knew how to perform the procedure. Now he wouldn’t be able to because Curtis assaulted him and he had a significant hand injury. Unfortunately, there were no other surgeons at GH or Mercy with his expertise and Derek was running out of time because Curtis was fixated on blaming Isaiah for Jordan’s accident.

Curtis said he needed a lawyer, and Michael asked if he thought a trial was the best idea. Curtis said no one needed the stress, and Michael wondered if there was any chance for a plea deal. Curtis said it was possible and he’d take it as long as there was no jail time, since Portia was in her third trimester. He was prepared to fight in court. Michael asked if he had a strategy, and Curtis wondered if he had a good chance of persuading the jury that he’d been provoked. Michael said, maybe. He’d need a powerhouse attorney. Curtis said he needed to present a strong enough case to be offered a slap on the wrist deal, and Michael said he was taking a big gamble.

Willow said Sidwell couldn’t kill Drew, and he asked if she wanted the honor. She could make him have another stroke. She said she didn’t want Drew dead, and he asked why she shot him twice. She said she’d thought she was going to lose her children and would never stop regretting it. Sidwell heaved a Jason sigh, and said he had more pressing issues to deal with. Make it work. She said, what if someone questioned what happened? and he said she was a talented, resourceful woman. Deal with it and keep up her good work getting funds for the WSB. She asked why he cared, and he said the WSB did important work. He wanted all resources available at their disposal.

Molly said now Suzanne thought the book was her private diary, but Cody said Suzanne knew she wasn’t a schoolteacher in the wild west. Who would make the connection? Her readers didn’t know them. She said he was coming on her book tour and they’d notice, and he said then he’d have to bring his ten gallon hat.

Tracy asked how they could help, and Portia said Derek needed to be transferred to a hospital in Chicago for another specialist. It would be expensive. They couldn’t just put Derek on a plane and his parents’ insurance was maxed out. She was hoping… Brook said she’d pay for it. She’d write Portia a check. Tracy said she’d get in touch with the hospital and make the arrangements, and Portia said it was so generous. Tracy said she was happy to help, but they’d been in the middle of something. She’d show Portia out. Portia went to the foyer, and Tracy told Brook not to dare say that child’s predicament was her fault. All she did was avoid a collision. Brook said, if Curtis had known, he would have never attacked Isaiah, but Tracy said, nobody was to know now or ever know.

Willow cried, when Chase came to the door. He said he was sorry for interrupting, but thought Amelia would want Mr. Snuggles. Willow thanked him and invited him in. Chase said he could tell something was wrong. Why had she been crying? She said it was just one of those mornings, and he said he wanted to help. She said everything was wrong. She felt so trapped.

Gio told Trina to do what was best for her and he’d support what she decided. Trina said normally, she’d talk to Josslyn, but she was in Australia. It was a family thing, but she had no details. He said if the showcase didn’t happen, they could still hang out if she wanted to. Playing with her made him realize he’d missed music and what a great outlet it was. She said, then maybe she could purge some of… this with juicy ballads. She’d see him at rehearsal.

Cody told Molly that he didn’t mind if people thought he was the real Casey. It turned out Casey was a great guy and an excellent lover. Molly said Cody was a great guy too, and he said, not to mention… She said, not here. What if Danny or Scout had come in? He said he’d behave, and she said that was the last thing she wanted. They were going to his place.

Portia went to Curtis’s office and said Isaiah needed surgery, then rehab, and more surgery. Even when all was said and done, he may never be able to operate again. Curtis said he didn’t want that to happen, but this all started when Isaiah drove away and left him and Jordan to die. She said, as usual, he was so sure he was right and in his self-righteousness, assaulted Isaiah. What was he going to do when he found out Isaiah was innocent? (I live for the moment.)

On the phone, Tracy said she wasn’t asking for a tow truck to come. She was telling them to come now. Michael asked Brook who Tracy was telling off now, and Brook said, the BMW dealership. Tracy told the dealership that it had been rattling for six weeks. Unrattle it. She told Brook that they were on their way.

Chase said Willow tried to carry everything on her own and didn’t have to, but she said, this time, she did. He said he could listen. He knew she’d feel better if she talked it out. She said she couldn’t do that. She didn’t want to be married to Drew anymore.

🫔 Friday’s Enchilada…

As he dries off by the boathouse, Tracy approaches Ethan and says, there is a rumor going around that he has a business proposition for her. Or was that just a way to get on her property so he could avail himself of the many amenities of her home? He asks if two things can’t be true at the same time.

Ava and Alexis walk into Hammet Gallery, which looks suspiciously like the Jerome Gallery, and a woman welcomes them. Ava introduces herself, saying she’s Ava Jerome of the Jerome Gallery in Port Charles, and the woman says, of course (🍷). It’s a pleasure to finally meet her. She shakes Ava’s hand and says she’s Janice. She works with Apollo. He’s expecting her. She’ll let him know that Ava and her colleague are here. Ava thanks her and she leaves. Ava asks if Alexis is surprised that her name means something in the art world, but Alexis says, no, she’s not surprised. While Ava is throwing her weight around, just make sure she’s discreet in asking questions about Delilah. Ava says she knows. Alexis told her that this is for Brook and Chase and that discretion is paramount. Alexis says, just don’t accidentally drop the Quartermaine name, okay? and Ava says, Alexis brought her along for her expertise and because she knows this world intimately. She also knows how to get information, okay? So they’re going to do this her way.

Michael finds Brook in the living room wrapping a package and says, it looks nice. She thanks him and says it took her nine attempts to try and get this bow right. Does it look a little tired to him? He says, no, he doesn’t think so. Who’s it for? She says, Willow, and he says, a bon voyage gift he hopes. She says, whatever their personal feelings about Willow may be, she’s been instrumental in helping her and Chase pursue adopting Phoebe. It’s the least she could do for her. He says, she knows Willow’s not doing this to help her, right? She’s doing this to help Chase.

Chase tells Willow that she’s an extremely capable person, but with everything she’s juggling, she’s got to feel overwhelmed. She says, some days are easier than others, that’s for sure, and he says, she’s caring for Drew, having her kids with her part time, plus all of her other full-time responsibilities like representing her constituents here in Port Charles. She says she just wants to do right by everyone, and he says, and she is, but maybe she shouldn’t make any big decisions about her marriage until things calm down a little bit. She hasn’t been a congresswoman for that long. She says she’s sorry. She’s not explaining herself very well. She’s not saying her marriage has hit a rough patch. She’s saying she made a mistake marrying Drew. She never should have become his wife.

Portia asks if Curtis realizes a boy is needlessly suffering because of his rash actions, and Curtis asks what she’s even talking about. She says she just spent the morning trying to secure funding for a young patient’s transfer to a hospital in Chicago, where there’s a possibility that he could get a liver transplant to save his life. He says, she’s laying that at his feet? and she says, Isaiah was that boy’s best chance of survival. He is an excellent surgeon. One of the few in the country that specializes in auxiliary liver transplantation. And he may never pick up a scalpel ever again. He says, look. If that is the case, Isaiah has no one to blame but himself.

Valentin comes downstairs and asks if Carly is alone. She says, Donna’s in school, and he says, oh good. Maybe now she can stop avoiding him for a second. She says she’s not avoiding him. He’s a fugitive in hiding, remember? He says, if she’d wanted to see him, she would have seen him, and she says, he’s right. She didn’t want to see him. Not since he made it crystal clear to her that he would ditch her in a second to go save Anna.

Carly says her daughter’s missing. Cullum and Sidwell are more dangerous than ever and they’re ramping up whatever terrifying project they’re working on. He gets one phone call from his contact in France and his first thought is that he needs to go save Anna. Who, by the way, has ample family members to save her. He says he stayed, didn’t he? and she says, yes, he stayed. But it’s what happened right before he decided to stay that gave her the wake-up call that she needed. This situation, it’s temporary, right? He’s not here very long. She can’t count on him. He says he sees. Clearly, he has overstayed his welcome. He’ll shut down the project at Windymere and he’ll be out of her attic for good. He goes back upstairs.

Alexis tells Ava to remember she vouched for her with Brook and Chase to join her in her work, and Ava says, the child’s future is at stake. Yes, she knows. She’s taking the matter very seriously. Why doesn’t Alexis look at some art or something? Maybe she’ll get inspired and stop haranguing her. Apollo comes out and says, Ava. Stunning as always. It’s been way too long. He takes her hands and she says, yes. Since he’s been in LA as a matter of fact. She’d like him to meet her colleague Alexis Davis. Alexis says, his gallery is lovely, and he thanks her. He says, they think it provides the visual and conceptual clarity the work deserves, and tells Ava that his sources told him that she’s been building quite the collection for Jenz Sidwell. He’s got some lovely pieces in the back that he thinks she’ll love. She says she appreciates that and she’ll absolute take a look at another time. But she and Alexis are here on behalf of another client and art may not be what they’re buying.

Willow says Chase and everyone tried to warn her that Drew wasn’t good for her. He made it very clear that she didn’t need Drew to get her kids back, but the voice in her head kept insisting that Drew loved her and would do anything for her. Chase asks if she’s saying she doesn’t love Drew, and she says she doesn’t. Not anymore. And she doesn’t know if Drew ever loved her. He was so jealous of Michael, so desperate to take something, anything that he felt Michael had. It just happened to be her. He says, but she’s not something to be owned by Michael or Drew. She is her own person. She says she’s certainly trying to be. And it doesn’t matter if Drew loved her for her or not. The fact is, she and Drew both married each other for the wrong reasons.

Brook tells Michael that she’s well aware of Willow’s feelings about and for her husband. Chase is a good man who’s given Willow way more grace than she deserves. She asks Michael to help with the bow, and he puts his finger in the middle of the bow. He says, there’s nothing wrong with the bow, and don’t take her anger at Willow out on him. She says, who’s angry? Would she be bringing Willow a gift if she were angry? He says he guesses it depends on what the gift is, and she says, it is a reminder of their gratitude and of the loving family Willow is helping her build with her husband. He says, that’s a lot to ask of a gift, but good luck. Feel free to take his car to Willow’s if she wants. She asks, why? and he asks if hers isn’t in the shop. Tracy said there was something wrong with it, right?

Tracy says she’s surprised Ethan isn’t glued to Lulu’s side given the Rocco situation, and he says, actually, he’s trying to give her a little space. She says, he doesn’t think his sister needs his support? but he says, no. He thinks he’s given her maybe too much support and in the wrong ways. Lulu asked him to give her and Rocco fake passports. She says, you Spencers love your fake passports, and he says, Rocco’s definitely one of them because he used his to take off with Britt Westbourne. She says, Lulu blames him for that? and he says, even if she doesn’t, he blames himself, but she says, don’t do that. Spencers don’t wallow. They find solutions. He says, she’s right. Actually, he’s hoping to solve a problem for her.

Curtis says he’s going to pay for that kid’s transport to Chicago himself, and Portia says, so he can assuage his guilt? He says, no. Because it’s a child and it’s the right thing to do. She says, well, his generosity is too little too late. She found a benefactor. He says, huh. He’s really glad to hear that. She tells him, really? That’s all he’s got to say? Besides the fact that he believes punching Isaiah was justified? He says, she was there. She heard the man say that he would be a better father to his child than he could ever be and she knows he would never stand for that. She says, but he’s a grown man. There’s nothing Isaiah should have said that would warrant physical violence. He says, okay, then they’re just going to have to agree to disagree on that. And on Isaiah having any role in his child’s life going forward.

Carly opens the door to Charlotte, who says she needs to talk to her. Carly invites her in and asks if she’s okay, but Charlotte says, no. Carly says, okay. Charlotte’s mom told her what was going on with Rocco. Is there any word? Charlotte says she doesn’t know. She can’t even tell her mom that it’s her fault he left with Britt. Carly says, hold on. Why would she think that? Charlotte says, before she and Danny went to go break into Windymere, they asked Rocco to come with them and he said no. He said it was too dangerous and begged them not to go, but they went anyway. They didn’t listen to him and just shut him out completely. Carly says, that’s a good thing because he was right, and Charlotte says, that makes it even worse. Rocco’s just been so quiet and mom and Dante have been fighting and she knew he was having a hard time. She was just so busy trying to help Danny get information about his dad and she thinks she made Rocco feel even more alone. And that’s why he turned to Britt.

Alexis tells Apollo that they’re just looking for information. No one’s buying anyone anything. Ava gestures for Alexis to step back, and says, he’ll have to excuse Alexis. When her blood sugar gets low, she loses command of the English language. He laughs and asks if he can get Alexis something then. Some fresh juice or sparkling water? Alexis says, no thank you. She and her words are fine. He says, quite sure? and she says, mm-hmm. He asks Ava, if their mutual client isn’t interested in art, why did she want to see him? and Ava says she and Alexis just have a few questions they’re hoping he can answer. Alexis says they’d like to know about a woman who may have been an employee of his. Delilah Wilson?

Ethan tells Tracy, working with Sonny is great. But she knows he likes to have multiple income streams whenever possible. She asks if he’s about to pitch her some multi-level marketing scheme, because she doesn’t need any cleaning supplies and she doesn’t need a timeshare within easy walking distance to the beach. He says, that’s just insulting to both of them. They both know if she wanted to go to the beach, she’d just (we say together) buy the beach. He thinks she should hire him. They’ve always had a good working relationship and he knows trustworthy people are hard to come by. She says she doesn’t trust anybody, and he says, generally speaking, neither does he. But he’s sure she could use someone discreet and reliable for her more nuanced dealings. She says, as it happens, she may have a need for his particular skill set.

Brook tells Michael that the passenger side door is rattling for some reason. It doesn’t bother her, but he knows how Granny can be. He says, yeah, better safe than sorry. How long has it been rattling for? She says, is he a mechanic? and he says he knows what a Phillips head screwdriver looks like. She says, that’s a brag. Anyways, it’s not dangerous. It’s just another thing on her to-do list. He says, but even she only has so many hours in a day. That’s why he was kind of surprised to hear that she’s putting together this showcase for Trina Robinson. Not that Trina’s not talented. She killed it at Charlie’s, but between taking care of Phoebe, figuring out the adoption process, her work at Deception, isn’t a showcase like this kind of a lot to take on? She says, he knows she likes to stay busy, and he says he knows. And he knows her mother’s side and knows where she got it from, but why now? She says, the music part of her life has been backburnered for a while, but seeing Gio and Trina perform at Charlie’s just sparked something in her. Gio is already in the music world, and she just feels like Trina deserves a chance to see what’s possible for her. You know, if the music industry is something she’s interested in. He says, yeah, but Brook didn’t even see Gio and Trina’s performance, right? Didn’t she arrive after they’d already finished? She says she did. She rushed out of here as soon as Dante let her know that Gio was going to be performing, but unfortunately, she missed it. Luckily, Dante took a video. She wishes she’d seen it live, but anyways, she’d better get going because this gift isn’t going to deliver itself. He says, she can always drop it in the mail for Willow, but she says she thinks that this gift requires a personal delivery. She leaves and he makes a call. He asks if someone thinks they can come by the house. He thinks he just figured out a way to solve all his problems.

Chase says, it’s no secret that Drew isn’t his favorite person, and Willow says, other than Scout’s, is he anyone’s? <snort> Chase says, Drew’s hurt a lot of people that he cares about. And the strain she’s under from overseeing his care has got to be taking its toll on her. Is it possible that that’s coloring her feelings about her marriage? She says she must sound like a monster. Her husband is locked inside his own body unable to communicate, and she’s the one complaining. He says, they’re both suffering right now, and she says, maybe, but she’s also benefitting from Drew’s misfortune. She got to fill his congressional seat and she’s enjoying it. He says, great. She stepped up for Drew and she’s helping people by serving in Congress. She shouldn’t feel guilty about that. She says, but she is guilty… of so much.

Portia says, Curtis doesn’t get to tell her who she can have in her life, and he says, but he does have a say in who’s in his child’s life. She says, does he? Now that’s quite a double standard he’s working with there. Because there’s no love lost between her and Jordan, but she hasn’t issued any decrees keeping her out of their baby’s life, has she? He wants to play that game? He’d better reconsider his living arrangements. Because if he thinks he’s going to veto Isaiah, there is no way she’s going to let Jordan spend any time with their child. He says, there is no comparison between Jordan and Isaiah. He and Jordan have years of history that predate her. They were married. Isaiah is just some dude she slept with because they were having a fight. She says she turned to Isaiah because he walked out on their marriage. He did that. But she’s with Isaiah now because Isaiah’s given her the kind of love and acceptance that she never got from him.

Carly tells Charlotte that she does understand the impulse to blame yourself. And if Rocco did feel shut out and alone because of what she and Danny did, she’s sure that hurt, but Charlotte can’t be responsible for the choices Rocco makes, including taking off with Britt. Charlotte says, Carly doesn’t think Britt would do anything to hurt Rocco, does she? and Carly says, no. She thinks Britt is crazy, but she knows Britt cares about Charlotte’s brother. Charlotte says her mom doesn’t see that way. She’s so freaked out. Carly says, of course (🍷) she is. It’s so impossible for anyone to understand how terrifying it is when a parent doesn’t know where their child is. Charlotte would be giving her mother a huge gift if she didn’t put herself in any more danger, and she’d really be helping her dad out a lot too. Valentin joins them and tells Charlotte, listen to Carly. The woman clearly knows what she’s talking about.

Apollo says, after the police told him what had happened to Delilah, he told them everything that he could think of about her, but it wasn’t very much. She was a private person. He didn’t even know she was pregnant. Alexis asks if she had friends and family, and he says, presumably, but he has no idea. Ava says, any colleagues here at the gallery she may have been close to? and he says, she was always friendly, but maintained a professional distance. Alexis asks if he hired her through a recruiter or an agency by any chance, but he says, actually, he poached Delilah from another gallery. He’d seen how well she worked with clients, and not perhaps his finest moment. That gallery since has closed down. Ava says, she knew how to make a sale, and he says, that she did. He considered her his VIP whisperer. She had a knack for working with high-end clientele and kept them happy and buying consistently. Ava says, impressive, and he says, very. That’s really all he knows about her and truly, he does have to go back to work. He tells Ava that it was wonderful to see her again. Really, a treat in fact. Shall he have the delightful Janice show them out? Ava says, actually, since they’re here, she’d like to take a look around. His collection is extraordinary, and to his earlier point, she thinks there are a number of pieces that would be to Mr. Sidwell’s liking. He tells her to take her time, and leaves. Alexis says, well, that was a bust, but Ava says she wouldn’t be so sure.

Ethan says, first things first. Is this job legal? Tracy says, seriously? What do you care about legal, Mr. Fake Passport? Besides, he knows he will be handsomely remunerated for any bending of the law. He says he does know that and he appreciates it. His phone rings and he says he’s so sorry. He has to take this. She says, oh yes. His future employer is definitely the one he should put on hold. He apologizes again and goes into the boathouse. He says, yeah, what is it? and Apollo says, two women from Port Charles are here in the gallery asking about Delilah. Ava Jerome and Alexis Davis. Ethan asks what he told them, and Apollo says, what he told the police. Nothing useful. Ethan says, okay. Keep it that way.

Jacinda arrives at the Quartermaines and tells Michael not to keep her in suspense. What’s this big revelation of his? He says he knows how to get Willow in Chase’s bed, and she asks if his PI found something compromising he could use, but he says, it’s nothing like that. It’s totally different. He thinks Brook was the driver that almost collided with Jordan Ashford, and if he’s right, it changes everything.

Willow says she looks back at what she did to Chase when they were married and she is so ashamed. He was sick and she cheated on him with Michael, his best friend. She would do anything to take that back. Chase says, it was a complicated situation and she made a mistake. But all of that led him to Brook and now Phoebe. She says, so in a way, it worked out, and he says, it did for him. She says, after what she did to him, she can’t even consider leaving Drew. She couldn’t live with herself. The man is completely dependent on her. He says, if Drew were healthy, would she be with him? and she says, no. She would end it. He says, they can’t know what the future holds, but it won’t be like this forever. So trust herself that she can navigate this. And if she can’t, trust him and the faith he has in her. She hugs him just as Brook is going past the window and sees them.

Carly says she’s going to give Charlotte and Valentin some alone, but Charlotte says, please don’t go. She tells Valentin that Carly made her realize that Rocco running away wasn’t entirely her fault, and he says he’s glad Carly helped her see that. She asks what she does about Cullum and Sidwell. If they go after Britt, they could hurt Rocco and he has to be okay. Valentin says, he will be. He’ll take care of Rocco. Her coming here and giving them information on Windymere was incredibly helpful, but there’s one last thing he needs her help with. She says, he wants her to stay out of it, and he says, that’s right. She’s the most precious thing in the world to him, but he can’t focus on the task at hand if he doesn’t know she’s safe. She says, okay, they hug, and he thanks her. She says she should get home to mom, and Carly says she thinks Lulu would appreciate that. Can she text them when she gets there? Charlotte says, yeah, and thanks Carly for the chat. She tells Valentin that she loves him and he says he loves her too. She leaves, and Valentin thanks Carly for helping her. He’s sorry for earlier. She says, no. She is.

Willow says she trusts Chase more than anyone and him having faith in her means more than he knows, but… The doorbell rings and Willow opens the door to Brook. She invites Brook in and Brook says she didn’t know Chase would be here. He says he was dropping off Mr. Snuggles for Amelia, and Willow says, which she is so grateful for. Chase says he also wanted to thank Willow again for helping with Phoebe, and Brook says it sounds like they had the same idea. She hands Willow the gift and says, for you. Willow says Brook didn’t need to get her anything. She was happy to do it. Brook says, of course (🍷) she did. Willow has done so much for them. Right, Chase?

Alexis says she didn’t come here to shop for Jenz Sidwell, and Ava says, neither did she, but Apollo has information and he’s not just going to give it up unless they give him something in return. Watch and learn. Alexis wonders what Ava has done, and Ava tells Apollo, that Kyoko in the corner is just spectacular. It’s so vibrant. She thinks that Jenz would be very interested. Does he think they could arrange a video viewing for him? Apollo says, absolutely, and she says, wonderful. And she does apologize. She realizes that Deliliah might be a sensitive topic. She knows the two of them were friends. Delilah was his employee. She’s sure Delilah’s death was very shocking. He says, it was, but as he’s already told her… She says, what she didn’t tell him is that she and Alexis are working on behalf of the very private, very wealthy Quartermaine family, and they are quite intent on acquiring information about Delilah. In fact, anyone who leads them to her friends or family would be generously rewarded. He says, come to think of it, he may actually have something for her. Let him check. He leaves, and Alexis asks, what did she just do? Ava tells her that she just said the magic word – Quartermaine.

Tracy tells Ethan that Brook and Chase desperately want to adopt Phoebe. They love that little girl. He says, it sounds like they’re not the only ones, and Tracy says she may have warmed to her. And she wants to make sure that nothing prevents Phoebe from becoming part of this family. He says, okay, and she says, to that end, Brook and Chase may need some assistance in smoothing some things over. He says, got it. She needs a fixer. She says she needs him to make sure absolutely nothing gets in the way of that adoption.

Michael tells Jacinda, Curtis was very clear that all the other driver did was swerve to get out of the way, but when they did, they might have run into the guardrail. The police then picked up a paint sample from the guardrail. They believe that it came from a black BMW. Jacinda says, and Isaiah drives a black BMW, but Michael says, so does Brook. He doesn’t think she’d knowingly leave the scene of an accident. He doesn’t think she ever knew that there was an accident in the first place. She says, Curtis is sure that the other driver was Isaiah, so why does he think he’s so sure it’s Brook? and he says, because Brook was here the night Gio was performing at Charlie’s. She told him that Dante called her and she rushed over there. The quickest way from here to Charlie’s is Route 91. She says, what else you got? and he says, Brook’s car has been in the shop because the passenger door has been out of commission for the past six weeks. She says, which it would if it hit the guardrail, and he says, on top of that, she’s setting up a showcase for Trina Robinson, Curtis’s daughter, with a bunch of music executives just out of the blue. She says, well, Trina’s got a great voice and Brook’s a savvy businesswoman. It could be good for both of them. He says, no. It’s all too convenient. He can’t get past the timing of it all. She tells him, let’s say you’re right. How does Brook being involved in Jordan’s accident get him what he wants with Willow? He says, because if Brook was involved in the accident and never came forward, it’ll show Chase that his wife isn’t the woman he thinks she is.

Curtis says he and Portia both played a part in their marriage falling apart and she’s nobody’s a victim. She says she didn’t say that she was. But she is the one who was forced to tell private details about her personal life on the witness stand. And then had to deal with him and Trina giving her all kinds of hostility and anger for months and months, all while pregnant with their child. But you know who was by her side the entire time? Supporting her, showing her compassion, not judging her? Isaiah. Curtis expects her to turn her back on him? Curtis says he expects her to keep their child away from the type of person that could leave people on the side of the road to die.

Michael tells Jacinda, with Chase, everything’s black or white, guilty or innocent. There’s no grey area with him at all. If he finds out Brook played a part in the accident and kept it from him, there’s no coming back from that. Jacinda says, and he thinks that’ll send Chase running back to Willow? and he says, she saw how determined the guy was to take him down, destroying his life. It’s because he never really let Willow go. If he can get Brook to see that, it’ll set her free. She deserves better than him. She says, even if he’s right and Chase hightails it back to Willow, is he sure Willow will go for it? She’s smart. She’s got a lot to lose. Does he think she’ll risk it all to be with Chase again? He says, Chase gives Willow exactly what she needs. He puts her on a pedestal. He wants to be her hero. That is irresistible to Willow. Just look at Drew. And when Chase turns on Brook, and he will, Willow will be there waiting for him. And when he eventually lands in her bed, it’ll cost her everything.

Willow looks at a gorgeous bowl and tells Brook, it’s stunning. Thank you. I love it. How is Phoebe? Brook says, she’s perfect, as always, and Chase says, Alexis is in New York City making some inquiries on their behalf. They’re staying positive, hoping things go their way. Willow says, Alexis is extremely thorough, and rest assured she’s liaising on their behalf with the director of social services. Brook thanks her and asks how it’s going in Congress these days. Kai Taylor is her intern, right? Willow says, he is. He’s fantastic. She thinks he has quite a future in politics if he wants it. Brook says she’s seen a lot of him recently. She’s putting together a showcase for Trina. He’s so supportive of her. She guesses she and Trina are both lucky that way. She smiles at Chase.

Valentin says Carly doesn’t have anything to be sorry for, but she says she does. She shouldn’t have lashed out at him. She put rules and expectations on him and on their situationship. She didn’t have a right to do that. He says he’d argue, her house, her rules, and she says, of course (🍷) his instinct is to jump on a plane and go help Anna because he loves her. She doesn’t begrudge him that. Him being here was only meant to be temporary, and it’s not fair of her to ask him to invest in them emotionally or otherwise, so she thinks it’s just best if they don’t have any expectations. She starts to walk past him, but he grabs her hand and says he doesn’t want her to have expectations. He’ll always have feelings for Anna. Whatever this is, it’s not about that. He told her that he needed to go to France and he threw those feelings in her face. He was thoughtless. He’s sorry. He wants to be honest with her. These past few months, she’s kept him alive. In more ways than one. She says, they helped each other, and he says, yeah, maybe. He doesn’t know where this goes from here or if he’ll survive, but he wants her. He wants her with him through all of it. That’s his truth. What’s hers? She kisses him.

Curtis says, Portia is so sold on this guy that she won’t even recognize the evidence that he left at the scene of the crash, and she says (along with me), there is no evidence. That’s why Isaiah hasn’t been charged. He says, well, there was before he destroyed it by taking his car to the shop, and she says, look. He needs to start worrying about his own charges. The ones he’s looking at for assault. A crime she knows he’s guilty of because she saw him herself. And if they call her to the witness stand, he better believe she’ll be telling the truth. She walks out, slamming the door.

Jacinda asks if Michael has thought at all about what this will do to Brook. Chase is a cop. What if he turns her in? Michael says, he won’t. And even if he did, Brook would be charged with a misdemeanor at most for scraping the guardrail. And she could easily make the argument that she didn’t even know there was an accident. Jacinda says, what about her marriage? and he says, if Brook kept this a secret, that’ll be it for Chase. It’ll likely be the end of their marriage and that’ll be for the best. Jacinda says she doesn’t think so. She seems to really love the guy. He says, no. She’s not herself with Chase. Ever since they’ve gotten together, he’s watched her make herself smaller and smaller. She doesn’t embrace the things that make her great because she’s too busy protecting his fragile little ego. He is nothing but a judgmental, insecure man with a white knight complex. And his cousin deserves better than that. He’s trying to show her that. She asks if he’s trying to tell her that he’s doing this for Brook. Because being honest, he’s the one with the most to gain here. He says he’s doing this to help Brook, but yeah, he’s also doing it for himself. And once Willow’s exposed for cheating on her bedridden husband… She says, with the cop who testified for her in court when she was accused of shooting that husband, and he says, the same husband that stood loyally by her side during the trial. The scandal will cost her the congressional seat. Jacinda says, and she’ll be radioactive, and he says, and all this power, all this influence she’s been enjoying, gone. And he’ll be the one calling the shots.

Chase says his shift is about to start. He knows Willow has a lot to do, so he’ll leave her to it. Willow thanks them both for stopping by and for the beautiful gift, and Brook says, of course (🍷). She hopes it makes Willow think of them. Chase says he’ll see her at home tonight, and Brook says, yeah, she’ll be there. She gives him a quick kiss, says, love you, and he leaves. She tells Willow that she’s very grateful for everything Willow is doing for them. But if Willow so much as breathes on her husband again, that will be the last breath Willow takes. She will destroy her. (Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Check and mate!) Brook leaves.

Ethan says if Tracy wants the adoption paperwork cleared for Brook and Chase, he’s her man. She gives him a look, and he says, wait, what’s that? What’s happening now? She says she feels like she needs to make this crystal clear. There’s nothing, nothing more important than her granddaughter and the family she’s building. He says, okay. He’s seen Brook and Chase with Phoebe. He can tell how much they love her and he promises he’ll do everything he can to help. Everybody loves a happy ending.

Apollo tells Ava that Delilah worked on the opening of the Cortez exhibit last July. He consults his tablet and says, somewhere on here he may have… Yes. Here she is. Ava takes the tablet, shows it to Alexis, and says, huh. Wow. Delilah was certainly a vision, wasn’t she? Alexis says, she certainly was, and thanks Apollo. She says, he’s been very helpful, and he says, my pleasure. Alexis and Ava look at each other and back at the photo where we see Delilah standing next to Ethan.

On Monday, Lucas tells Sonny and Laura that they’re going to need him; Pascal tells Josslyn, what a shame. You won’t be able to do anything about it; Nina tells Jack that she’s his only way out of this; and Tracy tells Ric that they need to get Sidwell out of their business. How do they do that?

💉 A Dose Of Reality…

Due to circumstances beyond my control – a medical emergency that came out of the blue – I didn’t actually see most of these or give the ones I saw my full attention.

Below Deck Down Under

Ben was pissed off because Daisy wasn’t around to do individual fish fileting. In Ben’s interview, he said he thought the guests would love a whole fish because he does. Um… No thanks. I don’t want whatever I’m eating to look like it was when it was alive. In João’s interview, he said it was a battle of egos between Ben and Daisy and they needed to sort things out. Captain Jason outdid himself dressing up for the Garden of Adam themed dinner, an outfit of leaves, complete with a moving snake. Jenna was determined to get her stripes back and Ben considered promoting Ellie to sous chef so she got something to take home for her accolades. In Daisy’s interview, she said that was a big f*** you from Ben, but the captain wasn’t down with it anyway, since Ellie was working her way back from being a pita. In his interview, he said he didn’t just hand out promotions. They weren’t lottery tickets. Alesia was upset because she hadn’t been put in the second stew slot, and Ben suggested demoting Daisy so she’d try harder. João felt like he was between a rock and hard place being friends with Ben and having feelings for Daisy. The guests invited Betul to hang with them when she was in the states, and if she doesn’t want to, I will. The tip was $23K, and the next (and last) charter was the following day. I don’t know how these people work with hangovers, but they do, so even though it was a less than 24-hour turnaround, a dinner out was planned. The next primaries were Carmen, publisher of Nova Lifestyle Magazine, and Brandon, a real estate broker who hosted nightlife events. In their interview, Carmen said they did everything except have sex. Captain Jason reminisced about nearly kicking Brandon off the boat when he’d insisted on night swimming drunk. They’d requested a Seven Deadly Sins themed dinner, the courses inspired by the sins. Alesia pled her second stew case to Daisy, but in Daisy’s interview, she said Alesia had almost quit once and almost been fired once, so no. Eddy wore the helmet at dinner, and Barbie and Ben played a game where they inched their table away from the others a quarter inch every few minutes. Ben said Daisy made him feel like a six-year-old with a really Bolshi Irish nanny, whatever that is. Back at the boat, Jenna begged Ben not to use a guest cabin since she’d made them up, but he locked himself in, making Jenna drunk cry. João came to the rescue and in his interview, he said regardless of his friendship with Ben, he’d take work first. In response to João requesting he leave, Ben messed up the whole room, told João to f*** off, and called him a f***ing wanker. Maybe he feels like a six-year-old because he acts like one.

Real Housewives Of Rhode Island

This show gives me a headache. Rosie and Kelsey continued their fight, loudly and publicly, after Kelsey showed up at Trivia Night wearing a tiara and sash that said Miss Slam Pig. For some reason, this sent Ashley spiraling, and it was all very loud and annoying, much like this show in general.

Summer House

Obviously, the main topic of this whole thing is going to be the Amanda and West hook-up. As messy as it is, I still can’t bring myself to feel sympathy for Kyle. He should have seen the separation and pending divorce coming a mile away. If you are a mean drunk, you shouldn’t drink, and he kept proving he was a mean drunk over and over. Amanda clearly wasn’t happy with his drinking, and then he chose a side gig where he’d be around liquor and didn’t shy away from partaking. I can totally understand why Ciara is more disappointed in Amanda than West – we expect more from our sisters than we do from a man-child – but if I were her, I’d just move on. By all means, wear a revenge dress, but don’t waste time on actual revenge or pulling out receipts. It’s not worth it. And speaking of the wardrobe, WTF over and over about the guys. They all looked sloppy. Except for Andy, who looked… well, Andy.

The Valley

Wow. Michelle is so desperate to get away from Jesse, she was willing to absorb half of the $300K debt he’d decided to accrue before signing the paperwork. Sometimes it is better to cut your losses, but that is just wrong. And if Jasmine feels she has to fight three times as hard to be taken seriously, maybe she’s in the wrong friend group. I think she’s wrong about the others listening to Lala because she’s white though. I think they listen to Lala because she’s Lala.

In the City

Amanda got her own apartment, and the lightbulb started to sputter on for Kyle. I was very distracted by Amanda’s many pairs of shoes.

Southern Hospitality

Leva had a Mardi Gras party at Republic and announced the opening of a new restaurant that would have a focus on live music. Joe got all hurt and pissed off because he claimed it was his idea. Leva tried to explain that she would have given him the reins there, but for the last year, he’d stopped showing up for work and wasn’t even in communication. He whined that he was a boy in love who needed to follow his lady on her tour, and he and Leva went back and forth, circling that drain for a while. When he finally said that many people wanted him to open a bar, Leva told him, by all means do it, but the real world was going to surprise him, and news flash, she didn’t need him. Mic officially dropped.

Random Reality Items

I don’t know what to make of this since it’s so vague. I liked Kelly in the beginning, and didn’t even hold her rant at her daughter against her. I imagine it must be pretty frustrating to co-parent with an uncooperative ex. But as time went on, I felt she wasted a lot of time holding grudges and cursing people out. Still, this sounds radical even for her.

Are they kidding? This was probably the most interesting season in years. I loved Rachel Zoe, and as irritating as she was, Amanda brought a new dynamic to the table. I do agree that too much time was spent on Dorit, but I also feel like she was perhaps showing her true colors.

Mary was for sure the MVP of last season, and I hope she returns.

I was surprised when I discovered how much I liked this show, since a seamstress I’m not. But it’s so much more than that and this coming season sounds intriguing.

👀 Last Weekend’s Watch…

Black. TubiTV. I wrote about this show long ago – it was kind of my comfort show during covid and I watched it for nearly the entire summer, viewing a couple of episodes a week. Since I had to lie low after surgery, I thought I’d revisit it. Although the first time I saw it on Netflix, Tubi seemed to be the only place to stream it at present, but it’s worth the ads. Black – aka 444 aka Detective Han – is a Grim Reaper in search of an errant soul that doesn’t want to stay dead. Long story short, if he doesn’t capture the one he calls Disgusting Brat, he’ll turn into a three-headed dog and live in hell for eternity. That hardly sounds fair, but it’s only one of the many rules he must live by. Inhabiting the body of a detective who has passed on, he plays bounty hunter on earth. Detective Han is also the first love of Ha-ram, who believes that when Han was shot, he survived, but lost his memories. It has something for everyone – superb fight scenes, terrific characters, an element of horror, a mystery Han’s detective squad is trying to solve, comedic relief, and unrequited love. It also has a definitive ending that’s bittersweet and satisfying. It’s subtitled, but done very well. I’ve looked for it dubbed, but it’s my understanding that they hadn’t realized it would do so well and never made that version. One site indicated Roku might have it in English, but I’ve yet to investigate. It’s well-worth reading along though. Not just my favorite K-horror series, but one of my favorite series ever.

The Boroughs. Netflix. Dubbed the Stranger Things with older people, this did not disappoint. A stellar cast and a unique story, this 8-part series was both fun, entertaining, and full of all the feels. A horror subgenre that I enjoy is a town that isn’t what it seems, and this time it’s a retirement community that has a dark secret at its heart. A group of retirees that are hardly retiring realize something is amiss and set out to discover what it is. The ending took a bit of a trip to the cornfield, but I didn’t hate it, the message being that time is precious.

The Bride! HBO/MAX. Poor Frankenstein can’t catch a break or a lady love in this freaky Bonnie and Clyde/Romeo and Juliet tale. When a fellow mad scientist decides to help him out, they bring a mob moll back to life where she becomes partly possessed by the ghost of Mary Shelley. Incredibly stylish, surprisingly funny, with a homage to more films than you can count, this is a strange romp about two monsters living a fairytale. I didn’t read much about this beforehand and had no idea it was a true feminist manifesto that boldly went where no me too statement has gone before. It has a remarkable cast, an incredible story, and enough gore to keep horror buffs satisfied, but it’s not for those who are snobbish about the classics. It definitely colors outside the lines. I only wish I’d seen it on the big screen, as the tribute to Young Frankenstein’s Puttin’ on the Ritz would have been worth the price of admission alone.
