General Hospital

Finn checks in on Jordan. He says she looks busy, and she says she’s working. He thinks it might be time to take a leave of absence. She says she can handle it, and he says he knows she can, but it’s her remaining kidney he’s worried about. She says he wins; she’ll take a break. He asks, how many weeks? and she says, ten minutes. She thought he said Doc was a match. TJ overhears and comes in, saying that’s great news. Finn says, not so fast.

Toronto. On someone’s porch, Curtis says she has four kids and is taking care of elderly parents. Even if she wanted to help Ryan… Laura says, when would she have the time? She says, at least their cover is holding up. Curtis says they’re from Revenue Canada and there’s a discrepancy in the records. He hopes no one sees through it. He says, four down, and nineteen to go. Laura says, who knows? They could be behind the next door. Curtis says, true, but so could Ryan.

At Charlies with Doc, Ava is disappointed that Julian isn’t there. She thought he’d be the perfect litmus test for their relationship. He knows her almost better than anyone else. Doc wonders why she didn’t let Julian in on it, but she says, the fewer people who know, the better. He asks if she thinks so little of Julian, and she says at least her brother doesn’t kill people for sport. Doc says he doesn’t need a reminder of the damage Ryan did. Ava says that’s why they need to convince everyone that they’re in a caring relationship. If she didn’t know better, she’d think they were having their first lover’s quarrel.

At their hotel, Peter says, sorry the flight was so long, but Maxie says, it’s not the journey; it’s the destination. He doesn’t think that’s the saying, and she says, it is today. It’s everything he said, including the pressure free separate rooms. She asks if they should see what’s next for them?

Alexis calls Kristina, and leaves a message asking if Julian gave Kristina her job back. Sonny knocks at the door. He says he came over to see how she and Kristina are doing. He knows them being under the same roof isn’t easy. Alexis says, it’s not a problem right now; Kristina isn’t there. He asks where she is.

Shiloh tells Kristina that he had a feeling right here. He puts his hand to his heart. He knew today would be the day he saw her again. She says here she is. She goes inside, and he says, welcome home.

Finn says TJ is a medical student, but also the commissioner’s son. Maybe she’ll listen to him better. Despite a donor being a match, why would they question a potential donor? TJ says they do a battery of tests to make sure the kidney is safe for the patient to receive, but also that it’s safe for the donor to give in the first place. Finn says, exactly right. TJ says, speaking as the commissioner’s son, does Finn anticipate a problem? Finn says, no, but it’s medicine, and there are no guarantees. He’s going to check on the tests now, and give them time to talk.TJ asks how Jordan is feeling. She calls him Dr. Ashford, and he says he’s not a doctor yet. She tells him that she’s practicing, but he doesn’t want her to jinx it. She says other than being anxious, she’s not bad. He hopes she’s playing games on her laptop, but she says she’s working. He tries to take the laptop, but she hangs onto it. She says the upside of being stuck there is that she gets to see more of him. He’s glad her spirits up, but wonders if she’s covering for Curtis. He hasn’t seen Curtis around, and wonders what’s up with them.

Laura and Curtis leave an apartment, and Curtis says, that was aggressive. At least they know there’s no way she arranged the pharmacy break-in. Who would have guessed she was a tax collector? They could have been turned in, but it was a good save with the fake ID. Laura says she came prepared. He says please tell him the next one is a nurse specializing in amputations. She says, close. From what she found out online, the woman volunteers at two hospitals, likes tall white men over forty, and here’s the kicker… He says, she loves strays. Laura says they might have s winner. So let me get this right. She found all that out about this woman, but didn’t know what the last person did for a living? Okay.

Ava says the way Doc is glued to his phone, she doesn’t know whether it’s compromising the idea of their relationship or making it more realistic. He says he was hoping for good news. She ask if everything is okay. She knows he misses Laura. He says Laura is in Canada searching for Ryan. Ava says, no doubt, he’d rather be with her, but he’s doing more good here. They have to be seen public if their plan is going to work. Does he mind her asking what he’s waiting for, if not Laura? He says he’s waiting to hear from Finn. Ava says, he’s not sick, is he? He says, on the contrary. He’s hoping to donate a kidney to Jordan. He’s a match, but before he can donate, he had to go through some tests. He’s hoping to hear soon. She says, he’s just so not his brother. He says he should hope not. She supports his decision, but they are in the middle of a sting. It will be hard to be seen in public if he’s in the hospital. He says he’s talking about saving a life, and she says she’s talking about finishing the bastard off once and for all.

Alexis explains to Sonny that Kristina is trying to get her job back, and he’s surprised she believes Kristina. She could go back to Shiloh the first chance she gets. Neil arrives, and Alexis says they could use an expert. Sonny thinks she should lock Kristina in her room, but she opted to let Kristina go. Which one of them is right?

Shiloh asks if Kristina wants some tea, but she says, no thank you. He says she seems anxious, and she backs up when he tries to touch her. He says her family said she was taking time away to rethink her life. She says that’s exactly what she was doing; rethinking her life and choices. He says, good. That means she’s coming back stronger than ever. She says she’s not coming back. He says he’s disappointed, and she says she’s sorry he feels that way. He says he misses her more than she knows. She says, since she’s no longer a member, she’d appreciate it if he gave her Pledge back to her.

Sonny appreciates everything Neil has done, but his part is finished. Neil says it’s not. He was retained to treat Kristina, and there’s still work to do. He’s questioning whether Alexis should have let Kristina leave. He says they can sit tight and see if she goes back to Shiloh, or chase her down, and guarantee she does. It’s up to Sonny. Sonny says, fine. Alexis thanks him. Neil knows they have their differences, but once they got going, they were a good team. Miss Tait survived her experience, and it was a pivotal moment when she told Kristina about it. He thinks she got through. Kristina knows Shiloh poses and emotional and sexual threat. Alexis did the right thing. He thinks they should trust their daughter enough to let her go.

Shiloh says Kristina can’t simply take back her Pledge. She asks, why not? It’s not like he needs it for anything. He says, that’s not the point. That’s not how this works. She says it’s up to him; DOD is his operation. He tells her, it was a symbol of good faith. She wonders where all that crap about loving her for her goodness and spirit went when he was planning on raping her. He says he’d never do anything like that, and she says he drugged her. He lead her to the attic, had her put on that sister wife dress, and gave her drugged tea. He insists it was Valerian root, just to make her comfortable. She says it was to make certain she wouldn’t protest having sex with him. He says he doesn’t know who she is. Who put these ideas in her head? She asks if he wants a name, and he says he would love a name. She says the name is David Henry Shiloh Archer – him.

Ava tells Doc that they shouldn’t be fighting. They’re supposed to be love birds. He says imagine how annoyed Ryan will be when he finds out Doc is donating an organ to the official who exposed him, and his soulmate is by his side. She says, that’s good. They should milk it for all it’s worth. He asks how they do that. It’s not like they’re surrounded by paparazzi. She says, who needs them? She takes out her phone, and he says, a selfie? She says, a convincing one. Pucker up. She kisses him, and takes the picture.

Jordan tells TJ, Curtis is out of town working on a case. He asks, what kind? and she says, a missing person. He asks if the missing person could be Ryan. A few weeks ago Curtis asked him about a list of medications and what they’re for. One of them was for clotting purposes, and he doesn’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to make that leap. Curtis is looking for Ryan, isn’t he?

Peter and Maxie come into the hotel suite with a bunch of shopping bags. Maxie says, the shopping. Who knew? She takes out a tiny beret, and says James is going to rock this. Peter says there’s nothing James can’t rock. She says she’s having the best time. He says, him too; except for the weather. He didn’t realize it would be cold. He was hoping to have their first meal al fresco, so they could watch passersby and he could show her off to the world. She says, everything is amazingly beautiful, and he says, like her.

Alexis is sure Kristina will walk through the door any minute. Sonny asks when she left, and Alexis says it was about an hour ago. Maybe she went to get coffee, or visit Valerie or Sam. Sonny says, as long as it’s not DOD. Neil says they need to let Kristina be an adult. He thinks she’s healing, and doesn’t believe she’d let Shiloh influence her anymore. Sonny says, unless he holds her Pledge over her head.

Shiloh tells Kristina, calm down. He suggests they talk through it, and make peace. She says, no. She doesn’t want to listen to him talk circles around her. She’s leaving and wants her signed Pledge and recording. He says it was her gift to him. She may have lost faith in DOD, but he has the utmost faith in her. <yawn>

Jordan asks TJ to keep it between them, but he says he has to tell Molly. They don’t keep secrets. She says they’re still young. She asks if he swears they’ll keep it between themselves, and he says, of course (🍷). She says he’s right. Curtis is searching for Ryan. He asks if there are any leads, and she says, a few. He guesses it’s an okay reason for Curtis not be there.

Doc asks if Ava is all right, and she says she’s fine. She just needs a minute to post it on social media. He says her hands are shaking, but she says she’s totally fine. She asks if he wants her to send it to him or should she just share and repost? He says it seems to be the digital way of being a couple today. She says, it will drive Ryan crazy. She’s done; his turn. He gets a text from Finn that his test results are in, and needs to go. She says she’s going with him; his doting girlfriend. In for a penny… Ha-ha! The look on his face.

Curtis knocks on the door, but he doesn’t think anyone is in there. Laura sees the mail spilling out of the mailbox, and looks at it. She says, it goes back for months; as far back as when Ryan was in Port Charles. Curtis says they might as well cross it off the list. Inside the house, someone watches them.

Maxie suggests she and Peter bundle up, take a walk, and find the perfect place to watch the sunset. He says she knows how to make the best of a situation. She knows he had a plan, but the things they were going to see aren’t going anywhere. She’s sorry it isn’t the first date he’d intended, and he says, the best laid plans. She asks if that’s Shakespeare, but he says, Douglas Adams, and before him, Robert Burns. She says, it’s perfect. He says for him too. She says, kind of French counts, and he, absolutely. They kiss.

Curtis says when Laura first insisted on coming, he thought he’d have to mind his P’s and Q’s, and be on the straight and narrow. She says, she is the mayor, and he asks, how is it the mayor got personally involved in the search? She wants to see Ryan brought to justice for the people he hurt. He says, and Ava? She says they’ve had differences in the past, but no one deserves what Ryan did. He says Ava has been spending a lot of time with Doc. She must feel some kind of way. She says she does, but it’s not her business. He says, at this point, he thinks they’re making it everyone’s business. It’s all over the news and social media. Laura says she has no control over what people say or do. Curtis says it’s almost like they’re making themselves a target to flush out Ryan, so they can take matters into their own hands. She says that’s why they need to find Ryan before he finds them. Curtis says, especially since Doc is a match for Jordan. He wants the question of Ryan settled before the transplant.

At the hospital, Finn notes that Ava is there too. Doc says he’ll just tell her what Finn says anyway. They’re very close. Finn is sorry, but Doc isn’t a suitable kidney donor. Doc says, he’s a match, but Finn says his glucose levels are too high; he’s pre-diabetic. He imagines it was brought on by the ordeal of being malnourished at Ferncliff. I’m not sure what that says about how they feed the patients there. Doc says, so he’ll eat right and exercise, but Finn says they need the kidney sooner than he’ll be able to provide one. Doc says there has to be something he can do. Finn knows he’s disappointed, but there’s nothing more he can do.

TJ tells Jordan that Kiki liked Finn, and he agrees. Jordan says, Finn is proof you can be wildly successful without a discernable bedside manner. TJ says, in watching Finn, he thought could specialize in infectious diseases. Jordan says whatever he decides to do, he should do because he loves it, not because someone else thinks he should, even her. She’s happy and proud of him, no matter what. Finn comes back, and says, sorry. They can’t use Doc.

Alexis says, if Shiloh is going to use the Pledge, then good. Sonny says, that’s easy for her to say. She’s not… He looks at Neil. Neil says everything is confidential, unless he’s planning on committing a crime. Alexis says, extortion is a felony, but Sonny says only if they can prove it. She says, Kristina will testify, and so will Willow. It’s to Shiloh’s benefit to keep it a secret. Sonny says, he seems bulletproof. He asks Neil when they can question Kristina about it.

Shiloh tells Kristina that he’d be remiss if he wasn’t honest. She says, about the Pledge? and he says, about her. She’s changed drastically since she left. She says her eyes have been opened, but he says she’s closed them, and her mind and heart. She was thriving there. She found her passion and heart. Even if she walks out the door like this, the door will always be open to her. He hopes she walks through it again soon. Kristina walks out, and Shiloh looks a little worried.

Peter and Maxie kiss some more, and Maxie says, hold that thought. She has a teeny errand to run. She saw a lingerie boutique in the lobby. Tonight is not the night she’s wearing her flannel PJ’s to bed. She’ll be right back. She leaves, and he smiles.

Laura asks if Curtis is saying Doc offered to give Jordan a kidney. He thought she knew. He didn’t mean to break confidence. She can understand why he’d want do that, and asks if it’s already been scheduled. Curtis says it needs to happen soon, but there are still hurdles before it’s a go. He knows they want to get out of their sooner than later, and Laura says they can work while they eat. She asks how Jordan is doing, and he says she was fine this morning. He’ll hear later if Doc is the donor.

Doc tells Ava that he wanted to do it; he needed to, in a way, make amends, Ava says, it’s a noble gesture. He says, it was a way to help save the commissioner’s life. It was tangible; giving part of himself. A way to make up for one life that was taken. Ava says, that’s not how this works. He can’t make up for the lives someone else took. Her daughter is gone, and nothing will make up for it, or any of Ryan’s victims. He asks if there’s nothing he can do, and she says, forget amends and making it even. Focus on the possible; being a good person, the good man that he is. He says, is he? She says he is, and leans in to kiss him. He backs up, and asks what the hell she’s doing.

Finn tells Jordan that Doc’s body needs his kidney, but they get new donors all the time. TJ says, it’s a crapshoot, and Finn says they can talk about alternatives. He knows TJ isn’t a match, but does she have any other family members? TJ says she never talks about her relatives. There has to be someone out there. A cousin, an aunt, a second cousin?

On the phone with Harmony, Shiloh says, as he predicted, the dummy Pledges were stolen. Luckily, they were moved to a safe location. I’m thinking, the lighthouse.

Sonny tells Alexis that Sam is working on getting Kristina’s Pledge. She says it’s his turn to call Kristina. She already did and got voicemail. He asks why she doesn’t call again, but she says if she calls, it will sound like she’s badgering Kristina. If he calls, she’ll think it’s adorable. Until he judges her. Then she’ll hate his guts. So be adorable, and don’t judge. Kristina walks in, and Alexis says her dad came by to check on her. Neil came to see if there’s anything she wants to talk about. Sonny hears she went to Charlie’s to try and get her job back. He asks how that went, and Kristina says, fine. He asks where she went afterward. Neil asks how was her first day out? She says Julian was a little mad, and it was harder than she expected, but still not as hard as going to DOD. Neil asks how that went, and she says, not great. She made it clear to Shiloh that she won’t be coming back. Alexis asks how he took it, and Kristina says, he was hurt. Sonny asks if she’s okay, and Alexis says she’s clearly upset. Alexis asks what Kristina said. Kristina says, nothing he could predict, and nothing he wanted to hear. She said, goodbye. She just wants to be alone, and goes upstairs. They all look at each other.

Ava is so embarrassed. She’s sorry, and asks Doc to try and understand. She was so in love. Doc says, with Ryan, and Ava says, no, with a man she thought was Doc. That Doc understood her. He accepted and loved her as she is. She knows he was a lie, and a monster. He murdered her daughter, and then climbed into bed with her for an alibi. For a moment, she forgot. She asks Doc to forgive her. He says what Ryan did to her was horrific. He’ll do what it takes to make it right, including pretending they’re in a relationship. But he wants Ava to understand, he loves his wife. Ava says she understands, and she’s sorry. It was just a momentary confusion. He says, understood, but if she gets confused again, he’ll shut this whole thing down. That seems just a wee bit harsh. Her lips didn’t even get that close to him.

Jordan says her family is scattered. She’s not in touch with anyone. Finn says she could give a DNA sample to one of those website that help people find family members. She says she’ll think about it. I have the feeling she doesn’t mean that, but the topic will be revisited. Finn’s sorry. He wishes he had better news. He’ll check in later. He leaves, and Jordan tells TJ that they’ll get through this. She promises everything will be fine. TJ says, okay. How?

Peter pops champagne. There’s a knock at the door. He opens it, and Maxie breezes in. She says, shopping success. And she got a bonus. Look who she found. Curtis and Laura come in. Maxie says she overheard the clerk telling them the hotel was booked up. Laura says they’re working on an investigation, and they thought they’d rest up while the worst of the storm passes. Maxie says they have the room, and obviously she couldn’t leave them stranded, so she invited them to hang out there. Peter says, welcome, and tries not to act disappointed. I try not to act like I must have missed a crucial point in the story. I assume there was a storm, and Peter’s plane got diverted to Toronto?

Alexis thinks they all know what went on at DOD. Sonny says Shiloh threatened to use Kristina’s Pledge. Does she think he’s pissed enough to blackmail Kristina? Neil knows this is important, but it’s a problem for later. They should focus on the great that happened. Sonny says, what great thing? Neil says Kristina faced Shiloh, and it was her first day of freedom. She faced the man who tried to brainwash her, and made every effort to separate her from her family. And what did she do? Sonny says, she came home. Neil says, not just home. The home of a mother she has a contentious, turbulent relationship with. She chose her family. Take the win. Sonny says, he’s right. No matter what happens, they have their daughter back.

On the phone, Shiloh says he had the feeling someone would try to get ahold of Kristina’s Pledge. He has it somewhere safe and sound for whenever they need it.

On Monday, Alexis is glad Julian did it, Ned says Oscar had a plan, and Josslyn says it’s the last thing she wants to do; she’s not ready.

😏 Today, for the first time ever, I saw Judge Judy have a hard time not smiling, and that includes the times children have testified. A dude went on for a bit about what a fan he was, and her mouth twitched for a while. He was kind of a cool older guy. Like a peripheral character from a Spike Lee movie.

💍 90 Day Fiancé has yet another spin-off Pillow Talk – Mondays at 10 pm. This is a fun show. Another take on People’s Couch, various cast members watch the shows from Happily Ever After? that have other cast members in them. Did you follow that? David and Annie are one of the couples commentating, and it’s shown a whole other side of them. They’re actually very funny and fun.  Anne laughed so hard at one point, she gave the best quote so far: My squid come out of my nose.

The franchise has also been showing Our Journey So Far, both a retrospective of couples from previous seasons. Tonight, Melanie and Devar were up, who I hadn’t seen much of previously. I thought Devar seemed like a super nice guy; good to and for her son, despite her family’s concerns, which were understandable. His mom already lived in the states – she left Jamaica when he was nine to support the family – and she’d already been petitioning to get him here. It was also disconcerting when he said once he started working, he wanted to send 90% back to his sisters in Jamaica. But, they seem to love each other, and I did see them on one of the reunion shows. They looked happy, and that’s all that counts, right? At least he isn’t like Pedro, who is a total mama’s boy a-hole.

These two are on their second divorce filing. He seems way to young, and she seems like she needs heavy-duty therapy.

General Hospital

Olivia puts photos of Oscar with his family in an album

In Oscar’s hospital room, Kim says he’s the same, just sleeping. Drew says Josslyn should sleep too, but she thinks she’ll stay in there. They haven’t finished reading. Kim asks if she wants anything, but she says she’s good. She reads out loud. Kim and Drew listen outside the door.

Elizabeth goes to Terry’s office, and asks if she wants to go for a drink. Terry says she’s not so much working as wishing. She’s hoping there’s something she missed. She keeps trying to make the pieces add up to a different conclusion, but no matter how she puts the pieces together, the story ends up the same way.

Ned finds Monica in the crypt. He asks what she’s doing, and she says, talking to ghosts. He says he won’t worry until she says they’re talking back. She says, they do. Sometimes, they’re the only ones she can trust to say exactly the right thing.

Carly looks at the babies in the hospital nursery. Sonny joins her, and she asks if their kids were ever this small. When they’re this tiny and helpless, you just don’t realize how much they’ll need you when they get older

Julian calls Kim. She says it’s good to hear his voice. He asks how Oscar is, and she says, no change. He’s sleeping now. Julian says he’s there if she needs him. She knows, and he says he loves her.

Cameron works on his laptop at Charlie’s. Trina asks if he’s doing homework, but he says it’s part of detention. Trina says it was a nice move. The guy he hit is a tool and a loser. She asks if she can help, and he asks if she means write it for him. Trina says, that would be a no, but she can help him focus. He says he’s writing about the kind of friends he wants to have, and the kind of friend he wants to be.

Drew sits with Kim on the stairs. He says they always end up there when there’s a perfectly comfortable couch. Kim says, it feels a little too far from Oscar. She saw how restless he was, like he’s fighting this with everything he’s got. Drew says, that’s him. The first time Oscar asked him for anything, it was to teach him to fight for something he believed in. Kim says, it’s agonizing to know it’s a fight he’ll lose.

Josslyn continues reading. She yawns, and falls asleep. The book drops to the floor. Lila watches Oscar. He asks if he knows her. He doesn’t think they’ve met, yet he thinks he knows her.

Carly tells Sonny that she’s trying to take a cue from Josslyn. She wants Josslyn to have as much time with Oscar as she needs, without her hovering. Carly doesn’t know how to help her with what’s coming. Sonny says they won’t forget Oscar like they won’t forget Morgan. Carly has fought to survive, and that’s the best example she can give Josslyn.

Ned asks Monica what the ghosts have to say. She says she’s not literally hearing them – at least not yet. They’re still bickering, and driving each other crazy. Ned says, it must be a noisy corner of… wherever they are. Monica says, they’re all looking out for each other. They all have each other’s backs, and she knows they’re going to look out for one anyone who joins them when the time comes.

Elizabeth doesn’t know how Terry does it. Terry says, not all cases end this way. 80% of the patients survive five years or more. They’re getting there. When a patient sees her after five years, and they’re healthy and happy, it makes it worthwhile. Elizabeth knows Terry makes the passage easier for the ones she can’t save.

Drew tells Kim that he keeps thinking, maybe Oscar’s not fighting a losing battle. Maybe the doctors are wrong. Kim says, it’s called magical thinking. She’s done her share. She knows it’s not rational, but they could use some magic right about now.

Lila moves to Oscar’s bedside, and puts her hand on his heart. Oscar tells Josslyn to wake up. Did she see the woman? Josslyn says, what woman? He looks around, but Lila is gone. He says he doesn’t know, and she asks if he’s okay. He says he doesn’t understand it, but he feels better She says, better? and he smiles and says, like he’s going to be all right. He starts to get up, but Josslyn tells him, wait a second. She calls Kim and Drew to come immediately. They run into Oscar’s room, and Kim asks, what’s going on? Oscar wants to get out of bed, and Drew goes for the wheelchair, but he says he doesn’t want it. He doesn’t need it. He gets up.

At the hospital, Josslyn asks if this means Oscar is going to be all right. Kim says they’re waiting for the test results. Josslyn wonders how it’s possible. Oscar was too sick to move, and now he got out of bed. Is it a miracle? Monica says there’s something called end-of-life phenomena, but it usually happens when patients are off of all medications and the natural balance returns. Some doctors thinks there’s a psychological and spiritual component. They can’t figure it out, but when it happens, usually the end is very near. Everyone hangs out in the waiting area. Josslyn says, he’s coming, and a nurse brings Oscar to them in a wheelchair. Drew asks if he’s okay, and Oscar says he is. Terry tells them that they put him through a series of tests and scans. She also consulted with her colleagues, and reviewed all the results.

Josslyn wonders what happened, and Drew asks if she didn’t hear; Oscar’s tumor shrunk. Josslyn says they have more time. Oscar asks Terry, how much time? Terry says he’s experienced spontaneous regression. The tumor’s not just smaller; it’s practically non-existent. There’s scar tissue, and a small tumor, but the tests indicate it’s benign. She’s never seen anything like this. That’s why it took so long. They wanted to make sure there was no error, but the results were always the same, Oscar confirms it, since his symptoms receded. Oscar says he feels great – hungry actually. He asks if he can get up, and Terry says, by all means. He gets out of the chair, and Kim hugs him. We all cry. Oscar tells Kim she can let go. He’s not going anywhere. Kim says he’s really not. Drew hugs Oscar next. He thanks Terry, and everyone hugs. Josslyn steps away to call Carly. Kim says, tell her Oscar’s had a miracle. Oscar’s tumor is gone. Drew tells Oscar, today is the first day of the rest of his life. What is he doing? Oscar says he feels like he has something to do. Josslyn comes back, and says she told Carly she had a surprise, but not what it was. She wants to see their faces. They’ll be blown away.

Josslyn and Oscar stand behind Carly and Sonny at the nursery window. Carly says she feels guilty, welcoming their baby into the world, when Kim and Drew are preparing to say goodbye to theirs. Josslyn says, no one is saying goodbye. Oscar is going to be okay. Sonny asks, what happened? Oscar has no idea, but he’s starting to understand why.

Josslyn tells Oscar, it’s not a mystery why he’s there; he’s not ready to go. Sonny says they’re glad he’s sticking around. He thanks them for being there; he put Josslyn through a lot. Josslyn says, it was worth it. Don’t do it to her again. He says, it’s over, and they can move on. Kim says she doesn’t want to let him out of her sight, and hugs him again. A woman points out her son to Kim, and Kim says she’s sorry she had to take a leave of absence, but glad she had a healthy boy. The woman says she doesn’t mean to pry, but is everything all right? Kim says she’ll be coming back now. She had to put things on hold.

Josslyn says she’ll be right back. Drew asks if Oscar is up for a celebration. Kim says he doesn’t have to if he’s tired. Oscar says don’t worry about him, but she says they always will. He tells them, a party sounds great. He and Josslyn meet outside, Oscar thanks Carly and Sonny for being so great to him, even when he didn’t deserve it, Carly says he cares about her daughter. That’s all she needs to know, but the tie and flowers helped. Oscar says when he realized who Sonny was, he was terrified. Sonny knows he came on strong; he was just being protective of Josslyn. Oscar says he made Sonny a promise that he’d never hurt her, but he didn’t keep his promise. He broke her heart. Sonny says, just treat her right. It was wrong of him to want Oscar to make that promise. In life, there’s no such thing as love without heartache. Carly says he’s right. Only when we care so much, can we be hurt so deeply. Oscar says he doesn’t want Josslyn’s heart to break again, but he’s glad they’ll be there for her if it does. Josslyn comes back, and Oscar says he’ll be there for her. He couldn’t say that yesterday. She’s brought the journal, and says they can finish filling the days. They missed a lot of plans. Josslyn says, that’s over now. She’s going to see what they have for today. Oscar says unless chocolate volcano at Charlie’s is written there, she doesn’t have to look it up.

They walk into Charlie’s, and everyone applauds. Julian can’t believe it. Kim can’t either, but Oscar is in remission. The film looks a little different, and I start to wonder if this is a dream. I swear, they’d better not rip my heart out with this. Julian asks Oscar when he’s coming back to work. Cameron says, it’s insane, but a good insane. Trina says, everyone at school will go crazy, and now Josslyn doesn’t have to miss so many classes. She won’t have to go to summer school. Josslyn says, no way was she leaving Oscar’s side. Ned tells everyone, grab a glass. He wants to propose s toast. Oscar says, if it’s all the same to Ned, he’d like to be the one to make a toast.

Oscar says, plenty of times he forgot to show appreciation, or that he cares. Sometimes, it seemed like the complete opposite. He regrets some things he said, and things he didn’t say, But the only thing that matters is how much he loves them. His life is awesome because they’re in it. Here’s to them. Now eat a chocolate volcano. Kim hugs him, and Drew gives him a fist bump. Oscar says they’re awesome, and he loves them. He ask what would have happened if he died. What would have happened to Drew, and his mom, and Josslyn? Drew doesn’t know, and doesn’t want to think about it anymore. Oscar says he’s been thinking about it for the past few days, and he wants to know they’ll be all right. Drew says, none of them would be okay without him, but Oscar says they’d have to move on, move forward, live their best life. Drew says, life moves on, but it’s a new day, and they’re doing fine. Nothing to worry about. Kim calls Oscar over, and he asks Drew to cover for him. He looks outside.

Oscar sees Carly and Sonny, who’s holding a baby. Carly says the baby is happier in Sonny’s arms than with anyone else. The baby inherited his ego. Sonny is a lot of good things, but he’s not modest. Oscar turns back, and sees Olivia put a lei on Monica. Olivia says, the whole island smells like this. You can’t help but relax. She and Ned want to go back, and they’re taking her with them. Kim is showing some people a ring, and Terry says, she had no idea Julian was going to propose? Kim says, he’s not only romantic, but good at keeping a secret.

Oscar sees Cameron, Trina, and Josslyn in graduations caps and gowns. Trina says, class of ’21 forever. Cameron says they have the whole summer, and Josslyn says, it’s the last one before college. Let’s make it count. A guy, also a graduate, ask if she’s ready, and takes her hand. They leave Charlie’s, and I look at my heart on the floor.

Cameron tells Oscar that he just wants say he’s sorry for not visiting as much as he could when Oscar was in the hospital. He was afraid to see Oscar die. He couldn’t face it. Oscar says they all have to face it some time. He says Cameron came though when Oscar needed him most. He’s sorry for using Cameron to push Josslyn away. Cameron says Oscar already apologized, but Oscar says he didn’t thank Cameron enough for being a friend, a good friend, a real friend. The kind that was there when Oscar needed him, and he’ll be there for Josslyn if she needs him. Josslyn joins them, asking, what’s up? Cameron wishes he could tell her. Josslyn asks Oscar what he wants to do tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that. Oscar sees Lila and Edward holding hands. He tells Josslyn that he’s sorry, but he needs to go home now.

This is just mean, and I’m actually a little pissed off. An alien came to Port Charles years ago, why couldn’t Oscar have gotten a miracle?

Kim tells Julian about hearing Oscar practicing guitar. It was a beautiful melody, and he said he’d written it himself. Drew tells sonny about climbing a mountain, and getting out of breath at the top. Oscar saw him, and said at least there’s no one else there. Terry tells Elizabeth that getting to know the family has been a privilege. Oscar is special. Monica says Oscar took the family name. Drew says he did too. Trina tells Cameron that she got her license, so she can drive if they want to go on another road trip. Boys in the front; girls in the back. Josslyn tells Oscar they were supposed to watch the stars tonight, and they go outside.

Josslyn says, it’s too early. It’s too light out; they can’t see the stars. Oscar says it’s later than she thinks. She says he must be tired, and he says he’s done all he can for tonight. She doesn’t understand, and he says he knows why he was given this time. He didn’t want to go. He kept hearing them tell him to hang on and stay, but as long as he waited, everyone else waited in a kind of limbo. No one can move forward. Josslyn says, no one wanted to move forward without him. He says he needs to be the one to let go. Carly and Sonny need to share their joy about the baby. His mom should be helping families bring children into the world. His dad should be climbing mountains, and living his life, and Josslyn should be living hers. His life has been full. He’s had more happiness than some people do in a lifetime. He loves her so much. She says she loves him too. He says it’s someone else’s turn to find out what they’re meant to find. He’s ready to go home. He kisses her.

Lila and Edward walk out of Charlie’s. Oscar looks at them.

We’re back to the beginning. As Josslyn reads, she falls asleep, and the book drops. Oscar opens his eyes, and looks at her.

Sonny asks if Carly is ready to tear herself away from the nursery. She says she is. New life is such a miracle. Terry asks Elizabeth if she can have a raincheck on the drink. Elizabeth says as long as they do it soon. She did everything she could for Oscar. Terry knows, but thanks her for saying it.

Cameron types. Trina asks if he’s finished, and he asks if she wants onion rings. He gets up, and she looks at his laptop. She reads, I have a friend who was willing to push the girl he loves away. Not to keep from getting hurt, but to put someone else’s good ahead of his own. Cameron isn’t sure he’s got it in him, but that’s the kind of friend he wants to be. At the counter, he orders onion rings, but changes it to a chocolate volcano. Julian says, Oscar’s favorite.

Ned tells Monica, enough time with ghosts for one night. He suggests they go back to the house, and she says, good idea. She’s hoping she has a few years left, but when her time comes, it’s going to be one hell of a reunion. She tells them, goodnight. Her darling son, AJ; her love, Alan; Edward, the old grouch, and Lila, sweet Lila. She touches Lila’s plaque, and says, happy birthday.

Olivia looks at the pictures. She says, Lila and Edward, what a beautiful family you’ve made.

Drew and Kim sit on the steps, leaning on each other.

Oscar sees Lila, and closes his eyes.

Kim jerks up. She asks if Drew felt that.

Oscar gets up, leaving his body behind. He kisses Josslyn’s cheek, and touches her hair. He says he loves her, and tells her it’s going to be all right. He stands between Lila and Edward. Josslyn touches her cheek. She looks at Oscar in the bed, and we hear a song about goodbyes.

Tomorrow, Franco asks Cameron to hear him out, Shiloh says he spoke to Willow’s mother, and Drew tells Kim they have to be strong.

Two reasons why I didn’t think this was real early on. The film was different; they used a softer lens, and time moved too fast. It takes two days for people to say hello on a soap. The plot never moves along as quickly as it did here. I’ll say it again, this was mean. Wonderfully written, but heart wrenching, and a surprise. I started tearing up when I was editing.

The Real Housewives of New York City

The best I can say is, I like this bunch better than Beverly Hills right now.

Bethenny gets in the limo, and driver Albi says it starts at 9:30. In her interview, Bethenny tells us that her divorce/custody battle still rages on. It’s really bad. She tells Albi that she has a contract that stipulates she can get fired if she does pretty much anything. Albi says she doesn’t have time to drink water. He sees a paparazzi. Bethenny wants to play a game with them, but Albi says, to get in, she has to go right in front of him. Albi uses an umbrella to shield her from the rain and the pap, one sad, wet dude.

Jill brings her dog Bossy along to play tennis with LuAnn. In her interview, LuAnn says Jill dealt with Bobby’s death, while she was dealing with her brush with the law, and they commiserated. LuAnn tells Jill that she needs some exercise, and they’ll catch up after. LuAnn is going national with her show, and says she’s going to be on huge stages the greats have played on. They both stink at tennis, but get better as they play. Poor Bossy nearly gets beaned by a ball, and Jill wisely puts him under a bench. LuAnn says to him, it’s the equivalent of a flying saucer.

After their game, or whatever that was, they sit on a bench. Jill asks how LuAnn is handling the nightclub situation. Luann says she can handle people drinking, but doesn’t like sloppy. Jill doesn’t drink. She thinks she’s allergic to alcohol; it makes her tired. LuAnn says she’s a different kind of alcoholic. Most people wouldn’t consider her to be one. Therein lies the crux of LuAnn’s problem – she still thinks she’s different. She says she has fun, but doesn’t get too crazy, forgetting that pesky Palm Beach incident. Then she tells Jill, one drink throws her off, negating what she just said before that. A doctor she knows well said she’s not pretty when she drinks; her face changes. She looked at pictures of herself, and saw a face she didn’t like. In LuAnn’s interview, she says issues were magnified when she was drinking. She now has a more positive outlook, and she’s happier. Doing cabaret involves being around liquor, but she takes it one day at a time. Jill says she’s been seeing someone. She feels the energy when she and new guy are together. LuAnn is glad she’s moving on. Jill says she misses Bobby, but a psychic told her he’d said she shouldn’t be alone. So he sent her a nice Jewish boy.

Bethenny gets back in the car, and tells herself to take a deep breath. She says she doesn’t realize how she feels until she gets out. In her interview, she says it’s been a long, drawn out process. She wants to get past this negative situation, but doesn’t know when the end is. She tells Albi that she needs a break. She’s been thinking about selling the company. She calls Brent, the president of BB Endeavors. She tells him there were a lot of things she didn’t count on, like a nasty divorce and custody battle. In Bethenny’s interview, she says she’s been approached by several people interested in buying the SkinnyGirl brand. She’s not looking to exit, but just take the pressure off. She feels like she needs to think, breathe, and get a different engine going, so it’s not falling on her. She tells Brent, it’s too much.

Tinsley and Dale go to lunch. Dale asks if it’s a mimosa Sunday, telling Tinsley, for her, this is a vacation. In her interview, Tinsley says her mother comes to the city to get her hair done. Of course she’d be there for Tinsley’s circus performance. Tinsley is excited, but nervous. Dale says Tinsley’s dad is watching proudly. In Tinsley’s interview, she says, for all excitement, she was really hoping to keep her emotions level and in check. Dale thinks it didn’t register when her dad died. Tinsley has a lot of emotions, and this would be a happy, sharing-with-dad moment. In Dale’s interview, she believes Tinsley is upset because her dad didn’t exhibit alcoholic behavior when she was growing up. (FYI, I changed her words. What she said was, Tinsley’s dad wasn’t an alcoholic, but you don’t just suddenly become one at age 50.) Dale tells us that he suddenly got sick, and Tinsley sees it as a personal betrayal. The rest of them have forgiven him, but Tinsley is still angry. Dale ask how it’s going with Scott. Tinsley says Scott tells her that he’s proud of her, but on one side, he seems supportive, and on the other, he sees a lack of control. He’s afraid the public person will leave him. Dale says, if they’re finished, she should move on. She doesn’t think Tinsley felt secure with him. In her interview, Dale says Tinsley would go to Chicago, and it was never anything major, but some little thing would happen, and they’d be done. She tells Tinsley, a million other guys think she’s fabulous (WOTD). Tinsley says Scott does think she’s fabulous, but a part of him thinks he can’t do it. Dale says the problem with Scott is that he won’t let go, but he won’t take her either. Tinsley says he texted her about how he went back and forth with the ring guy. He was legit looking. Dale says, but he didn’t do it. He didn’t give it to her. Dale thinks it’s time to move on.

Dorinda and Sonja discuss The Hustle, which they’ve just seen. In Dorinda’s interview, she says she and Sonja are getting along great. They’re good with one on one, so when she got advance tickets to the movie, she decided to take Sonja. Afterward, they go to lunch. Dorinda says she loved the main characters’ relationship. You’d think they wouldn’t get along; they’re so different. Sonja says, like their cuckoo group. Dorinda says when Anne Hathaway played the damsel in distress, it reminded her of Tinsley. She finds it weird. Tinsley can’t even call Scott, the guy promising her a ring, and the next day, they’re broken up. Sonja says she seems great; fresh as a daisy, and not a stress line on her forehead. In her interview, Dorinda thinks all the breaking up Tinsley and Scott have done sends a message. And the message is, get out. Sonja says Tinsley holds her cards close to her chest, and Dorinda says it seems like more of an arrangement. Sonja’s not judging, but if it turns into the same thing as the last guy, that’s no good. She wants Tinsley to have integrity and respect in a relationship. Dorinda says Tinsley thinks they don’t have her back, but they do. In Sonja’s interview, she says she doesn’t think being married or having children will make Tinsley happy. She needs to work on herself. If they’re just taking a break or breaking up, it’s better for Tinsley. Dorinda says, Tinsley deserves a happy, healthy, and respectful relationship.

Oddly enough (not really), a commercial for The Hustle follows this scene.

Ramona and Barbara go shopping. In Ramona’s interview, she says she’s not putting it off any longer. She can’t stand how Barbara is dressing. She needs to step up her game. Stylist Taylor greets them. Barbara says she wants to be cool, edgy, and fun. Rock and roll is her vibe, even though she’s the CEO of a company. Ramona gives her some champagne. Barbara models some clothing, and Ramona thinks she looks fantastic. Barbara explains that her mother has no filter, and can make her feel horrible but has the best intentions. She thinks she should learn to appreciate Ramona’s delivery. Ramona admits she needs to soften her mouth. I guess shutting it isn’t an option. In Ramona’s interview, she says her father was like that, and it’s not a good attribute. They discuss the female alternative to bromance, and come up with homance.

LuAnn rehearses at a hotel in midtown. She and Sonja are hosting the biggest Halloween party in NYC, and they’re doing a video to promote ticket sales. The choreographer says they have a few more rehearsals, and suggests LuAnn check out the space.

While they’re hanging out at the bar, Sonja tells Barbara the phot shoot is going to reflect what the party is going to be about. LuAnn tells Sonja the costume guy brought the costumes for the video. They go upstairs, where sexy nurse outfits, and odd medical accessories are laid out. LuAnn says it’s going to be the sickest Halloween party ever. In LuAnn’s interview, she says being on stage keeps her from the temptation of drinking. She’s professional with what she does. In her interview, LuAnn says the nurse’s outfit is different from the one she wore when she was being a real nurse, but not much different from ones she’s put on in the bedroom. Sonja and LuAnn pose, and the photographer takes a bunch of photos.

At BB Endeavors, Bethenny tells her staff that she just had a facial, and her skin is the worst it’s been in ten years. It’s stress. In her interview, she says she’s had multiple offers to buy SkinnyGirl. She’s open to moving around pieces on the board. She asks if the numbers look good. Brent is happy they didn’t sell to the other guy. Bethenny says she’s selling half, and will still have creative control and be the face of the brand. In Bethenny’s interview, she says she made the right moves, but you get protective. Brent says the buyer has confidence that he can do better, but he thinks they’d be hesitant to play against the other offer. Both parties collaborate, but both want her company for themselves. In her interview, Bethenny says she still feels like a young girl struggling. We flash back to her hawking samples in Costco. She has to decide what the dynamic is going to be. She wants to take the pressure off; she can’t live like this. In her interview, she says she doesn’t want to be rushing through this, just so she can rush to something else. She wants the deal happen fast.

Tinsley gets her makeup done for the kiki before the circus. In her interview, she says, the ringmaster has arrived.  Dale is there already, and the women begin to arrive. Dorinda tells John that she did the trapeze, and he asks if she has proof. Tinsley confirms it, and says she wouldn’t have been able to it if Dorinda hadn’t gone first. In Dorinda’s interview, she says Tinsley seems nervous, but in a good way. It’s a good distraction, and she’s branching out. Sonja asks, what is it about the circus that brings men out? I’m not sure of that answer, nor am I sure that it’s true. Tinsley goes back to change. Dorinda thinks she didn’t realize she was at a standstill. Sonja says Tinsley is light as a feather now. Dorinda says she’s taking control of her life, and back in the driver’s seat.

Tinsley has problems with her microphone staying in place. She says she’s nervous enough, and now she has to hold her mic. She’s freaking out. She guzzles some wine, and practices her two lines. She literally drops the mic on her way to the stage.

Tinsley is introduced, and comes down on the lyra hoop. She introduces herself, and welcomes the crowd to the circus. She says, on with the show, and Dorinda says she did an incredible job. Sonja asks if they have to stay. In her interview, Dorinda says she thought it would be more elaborate. That makes two of us. She says she would have been great at it. Tinsley sits with women, saying she was nervous, but now she can enjoy the show and have 500 glasses of wine. A guy brings them drinks. They watch an acrobat couple, and Dale compares them to Tinsley and Scott. Brilliant move. Tinsley says, clearly not. There’s obviously a bit of a competitive thing with Dale, like Mama Dee with D’Andra. I don’t know if it’s a Southern thing, a rich thing, or a rich Southern thing. Ramona has a date, and leaves. In Dorinda’s interview, she says Ramona can’t help herself. Something always looks better. Ramona doesn’t see what the big deal is. Dorinda asks for more wine.

A guy plucks Sonja out of the audience for his act. They pretend to be on a roller coaster, and Sonja does somersaults. In Sonja’s interview, she says she might be out of practice in the bedroom, but that doesn’t mean she can’t perform when it counts. Tinsley says, it’s shocking. Sonja had no idea what they were about to do, and still killed it. She can’t do that. Me neither. In her interview, Dale says, Sonja was made for the circus, and points out that Sonja’s part was longer than Tinsley’s, but she’s proud of Tinsley. Whether this is the longest circus ever, or Tinsley is chugging a lot of wine quickly, I’m not sure, but she downs quite a few glasses. She gooses one of the acrobats that gets too close. In Dorinda’s interview, she says, champagne and tight trapeze outfits are not a good combination. It’s time to go home before something bad happens.

Dale tells Tinsley that she was fabulous, and her dad would be proud. Tinsley feels like Dale thinks she didn’t do a good job. She always feels like she needs Dale’s approval, and doesn’t know why. Dale says Tinsley is forty-three, and Tinsley says she feels like an idiot. Dale says Tinsley has her approval; she was fabulous. Tinsley says she wasn’t that good. She’s emotional right now, and does nothing good enough. Dale says this is about Tinsley’s boyfriend, not her. In her interview, it’s not lost on Tinsley that she’s wearing a big bow, and something she would have loved as a little girl. She couldn’t be more depressed or sadder. She starts crying, and Dale asks why she’s sad. Tinsley says she’s doing things she should be happy about, but she’s not. She’s miserable. She pulls the bow out of her hair, having a Baby Jane moment. Dale thinks she should be finished with the Scott thing, and move on. Tinsley says she worked hard, and wants to share it with someone other than her mother. Dale tells her to stop looking at the negative. She was asked to be in this. In Dale’s interview, she says if Scott had wanted to come, he would have come to watch her, but he didn’t. Move on. Dale tells Tinsley, because of her age, she is feels like she’s wasted her time, but she’s learned something. Tinsley says it meant a lot to her, but it would have been nice if he was here and could share it, but he couldn’t do it. In her interview, Tinsley says if she can feel sad in a big bow, a poufy dress, and glittery tights, that means she’s really sad. She’s not in a good place. Personally, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Dale says, people have horrible things happen to them, and that’s not her. Tell God thank you for the situation she’s in. She’ll handle it, and she’s good. Tinsley says she doesn’t feel okay right now. Dale holds her, and says Tinsley will always be her little girl.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

 

General Hospital

I missed the first couple of minutes. Mea culpa and all that.

Sonny tells Michael that they all could have done better, but Neil said it’s a process. They have to keep trying until they reach Kristina.

Kim asks Oscar to come inside from the terrace. Oscar says they were just talking about how nice it was being outside, but Drew agrees it’s getting chilly. Oscar asks to see the picture Monica took of them. Kim shows him, and says his grandmother took a lot of great pictures today. Oscar says, there’s one person missing. Jason comes out on the terrace, and Oscar says he’s glad Jason made it.

Outside Kelly’s, on the phone with Robin, Anna says that she and Robin’s dad were reminiscing about working in Italy. She has a gift she’d like to give Robin; a bracelet they bought in Italy. It’s not valuable, but it’s kind of priceless. It reminds them of how lucky they are that she’s their daughter, and Anna wants her to have it. She says Finn is there, and he’s fine.

At the MetroCourt, Lulu tells Peter that her mom caught her up on a few developments. She knew there was a chance that Ryan could be alive, but finding his severed hand was news. Peter asks if that’s why she came back, to chase the Ryan Chamberlain story. She says Ryan came thisclose to taking her life. Now she knows exactly what she needs. He’s afraid to ask, and she says, a one on one with the object of Ryan’s obsession – Ava Jerome.

At the Crimson office, Nina tells Sasha to go home and get back in bed. Sasha says she’ll be fine. Maxie needs an objective opinion about what dress to wear. Sasha sneezes, and Maxie says, for the sake of her date, maybe Sasha should keep a safe distance. Nina says the worst that will happen is, she’ll have to cancel, and wait seven days. Sasha asks if Nina is still mad at Peter. Nina says he ran a DNA test behind her back. Some things aren’t forgivable. Sasha says Nina says it was her privacy that was invaded, and she forgave Peter. Why can’t Nina? She also forgave Maxie. Nina says, Maxie is family, and Maxie says, so is Peter. Nina says, for all his good intentions, all she can see is that he tried to take her daughter from her. Maxie says Nina has already forgiven her; she might as well forgive Peter. Sasha says, Maxie is right. No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. Let it go.

Michael tells Sonny and Carly that he’d promised he wouldn’t judge Kristina or the situation. Carly says his sister joined a cult. How open-minded are they supposed to be? They’re not saying she’s stupid. She wanted to find new experiences that make her happy, and that’s a good thing. Shiloh took advantage of her. Michael asks what she’s saying, and she tells him not to judge himself. They need to fall back and regroup. Michael gets that, but he lost patience, and stormed out. Sonny says, it was emotional for everyone. Neil will tell them when they can reach out again. Michael starts coughing, and says, maybe they can get together and talk about what they’re going to do for the next session, so they’re not blindsided.

Oscar tells Josslyn and Cameron about changing his name. Cameron says, technically, he just added a hyphen. Is he hyphenating? Oscar tells Cameron not to jump on his moment, and says, Oscar Nero Quartermaine at their service. He says he wouldn’t have changed his name without checking with his mom first, and she’s awesome for saying yes.

Julian arrives at the Quartermaine’s, and tells Olivia that Oscar’s mom said it was okay for him to come. Olivia says she’s trying to be supportive without getting in the way. From now to the end, it’s all about Oscar. He says, Kim probably already told her, but her help is appreciated. Olivia says Kim did tell her, but it’s still nice to hear. He wishes he could do more. Olivia can’t believe she’s saying this, but Julian might be just what she needs right now.

Kim asks Drew to pull rank, and tell Oscar that he needs to rest. Drew tells Oscar it’s nap time, but Oscar asks for a minute to speak to Jason alone.

Anna asks what the chances were of Robin calling. She’s glad she didn’t FaceTime, since she’d been so upset. Robert says she had a nasty scare. It was of her own creation, but she’s still entitled to feel relieved. She says she is. Finn asks how Robin is, and Anna says, she called up to see how her mom was doing. Her mom. Robert says, it’s got a nice ring to it. Anna says Alex’s mind games can’t take away Robin being her daughter. Robert says she’s his daughter too. Anna says, their daughter, and she wouldn’t change a thing. Robert asks if Finn would.

Lulu tells Peter that Ryan became obsessed with Ava. He murdered her daughter, and posed as Doc. She consented to have sex with Doc, not Ryan. Peter asks if she thinks Ava wants her story told. Lulu says she’ll be respectful and careful; she promises. Peter asks if she’s sure she’s okay. It’s not the only major event she’s carrying. Lulu says, Dante? That’s different. He didn’t abandon his family. As much as she loves and misses him, she knows he’s where he needs to be. Peter asks if she’s saying that Dante left because he loves her. She says, he did. It hurts like hell, but it’s the price you pay for loving someone. Peter says she makes it sound like it’s worth it, and she says, love always is.

Maxie goes to the Crimson closet, and looks at dresses. Nina tells her, go with the black, but Maxie is afraid it says Protestant in mourning, and she’s neither. Nina knows she loves and misses Nathan, but he’d want her to move on and be happy. Maxie says, just not this soon with this guy. Nina says, while she has her reservations, that’s her problem. It’s just that it’s happening so quickly. Maxie says, it’s one date. Nina says they both know that’s not true. If it goes the way Maxie wants it, Peter will become more than James’s uncle. He’ll be permanent and close. Maxie says, no matter what happens, Nina will always be a part of the family. Nathan… Nina says, would tell her to back off. She can hear his voice in her head telling her to stop. She tells Sasha that she would have loved him, but Sasha is passed out at her computer. Nina shakes her, and Sasha says, she’s okay. Nina says, she’s not. She’s burning up.

Carly tells Michael that he’s burning up. Go home, and get in bed. He says before she airlifts him to GH, he’ll nip it in the bud. He needs to be sharp when they see Kristina. He also doesn’t want to get anyone else sick, especially Carly and the baby, so he’s going to take off. Sonny says he’ll let Michael know when Neil calls. Michael leaves, and Carly says, nothing from Josslyn. Sonny says, maybe that’s good news, and Oscar is holding his own. Carly says, it’s not day to day; it’s hour to hour. She knows what’s coming for Josslyn, but can’t stop it. Sonny says, what she’s going through is devastating. Nothing can prepare her for what’s going to happen. Carly has to let her go through it, and be there when it does. Carly says she needs to let Josslyn feel what she’s going to, but wants to show her there are good things in the world to look for too, like the new baby. Avery appears, and says, what baby?

Oscar doesn’t mean to pressure Jason, but wants to make sure he didn’t change his mind about being executor. Jason says, whatever Oscar needs, he can count on him. Oscar thanks him, and Jason asks if he needs a hand getting back inside. Oscar says there’s one more thing Jason can help him with.

Finn tells Robert, any changes in the dynamic between him and Anna are their business. Anna says she’s happy. She can’t imagine things getting any better. Robert tells Finn, there’s no point in gilding the lily, old man. Finn says he’s glad they’re all on the same page, but he needs to get to work. We see Robert’s hands under the table, holding Finn’s engagement ring (I apparently missed how he ended up with it), and Finn makes a gesture to Robert behind Anna’s back. When he’s gone, Anna asks Robert if he’s happy now. Robert says he thought Finn would never leave, and Anna asks why he’s still giving Finn a hard time. What’s wrong with him?

Lulu tells Peter that she didn’t come home because Rocco was bored, or because she was done decompressing. She needed to be with the people who are there for her; her mom, Maxie, and Charlotte. Just being around them makes her feel better, and she needs to be there for them. That’s what love is. He says he wouldn’t know. The only emotions he had for his father were fear and hatred, and when his father wasn’t around, relief. He didn’t know his mom existed until he came to Port Charles, and their relationship is tenuous at best. She says there’s never been anyone else he loved? Be completely honest. He says he doesn’t know if he can love someone else.

Sasha tells Nina, it’s just a cold or a 24-hour bug. She’ll be fine by this time tomorrow. Nina says, by this time tomorrow, she’ll be on antibiotics. She asks if Nina has had a flu shot. Maxie says she needs to handle it before she spreads it around. Nina says, no more arguing. Sasha is coming with her.

Sonny says Avery was eavesdropping? He mom is great at it. Carly says Avery asked a question, and deserves an answer. Sonny was going to tell her when they time was right, but he guesses the time is right now. He says Avery has heard him and Carly talking about having a baby. How would she feel about a baby brother or sister? Avery looks around, and asks where they are, but Sonny says, a baby takes time. Carly says they don’t know if it’s a boy or girl, but the baby will need love, and it helps to have a big sister. Sonny tells Avery that’s what she’s going to be. She’s going to be a big sister. Does it make her happy?

Jason and Oscar go back inside. Jason tells Oscar he can’t do it without Kim’s permission. Oscar asks Kim if Jason can give him a ride on his motorcycle. Kim asks if they’re insane, and Julian says he’s not sure that’s a good idea. Kim says, Oscar could have a seizure and pass out. Olivia adds, there could be an accident. No matter how careful Jason is, they happen. Oscar asks Drew what he thinks. Drew thinks it’s a good idea, and Kim says he can’t be serious. Drew says it doesn’t have be far. Jason can stay on the property. Olivia says. it’s insane in his condition. Josslyn says, it’s what Oscar wants, and Cameron says, there’s so much he can’t do that’s on his bucket list. Why not do this? Kim says it’s nice they want to risk her son’s life for a thrill ride, but they’re not his mother. Every moment is precious. Oscar says, please? He’ll never get to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. Jason says if something goes wrong, he can stop safely until help comes. Josslyn says Kim can trust Jason not to let anything happen to Oscar. Oscar says, just one time, and Kim says he will be wearing a helmet.

Robert tells Anna that he just wants her to be happy. She says, today is a banner day then. She is really happy. He says, tastes change, and she asks why he’s saying that. Because she chose a fundamentally good man, who’s dedicated his life to helping people? He says, as opposed to one who runs around shooting people? She says she cherishes the time she and Robert had together, and the day they created their daughter. Robert says, Robin. She’s their daughter, and always will be. She tells him, stop messing with Finn; give him a break. He tells her, so be happy. This guy better be worth it. Anna says, he is. She leaves, and Robert takes the ring out of his picket and looks at it.

Nina brings Sasha into the hospital. She tells Finn, Sasha has a fever, and is going in and out of consciousness. Sasha says it’s just a cold, or the early stages of the flu. Nina informs her that, during the first World War, more people died from the flu than bullets and bombs. Finn has a nurse take Sasha to an examining room. Nina says she might be overreacting, but she didn’t raise Sasha, and has no knowledge of her medical history. Finn says, Sasha is an adult; they can just ask her. He’s going to confer with the nurse, and be in to check on Sasha. He leaves, and Michael gets off the elevator.

Sasha waits in the examining room. Michael walks in, and sneezes. Sasha says she told him that she’s not good for him.

Lulu tells Peter that she knows for a fact he knows how love. She’s seen the way he is with Maxie. He delivered Maxie’s baby on the side of the road, and slept outside her apartment to keep her safe. She sees how he is with her. He’s nurturing and protective. He’s got the love thing down. He just didn’t know what it was. Maxie comes in. She’s surprised to see Lulu, and they hug.

Julian asks Olivia if it would be okay for him to see Leo, and she suggests they go together. Julian asks, what if he’s sleeping? and she says, they’ll wake him up. They might not get a laugh, but they’ll definitely get sounds.

On the terrace, Drew tells Kim that he knows where Oscar gets his bravery. She says she’s not brave. She just didn’t have the strength to say no to the both of them. She ask why Drew said yes. Drew says he wants Oscar to make the most of the life he has left, even if it means taking a risk or two. We hear the Jason’s motorcycle go past.

Maxie says she has so much to tell Lulu. Sasha really is Nina’s daughter. Lulu says she thought that’s why Sasha came to town. Maxie says, long story. It goes haywire, then comes back. Lulu says, right now, she has an interview to prepare for. She looks at Peter, and before he can say anything, says she’ll take that as a yes. She jets, and Maxie asks what they talked about.

Sasha tells Michael to keep his distance; she’s contagious. He says, too late for that. She’s sorry she gave him whatever, but he says maybe he gave it to her. She says, just so he knows, it was totally worth it. Nina comes in, and says it’s nice of Michael to check on Sasha. She asks if he’s there for a Board meeting, and he says he’s there to get a prescription. It turns out he and Sasha have something in common. Finn asks Sasha when she noticed her temperature rising, and she says, this morning at the gym. Ha-ha.

Carly asks Sonny how Avery is taking it, and he says she couldn’t wait to tell Laura. She’s asking about names, and Carly suggest they find out if it’s a boy or girl first. She asks what he’s thinking about. Whatever he’s got going on, tell her, so she doesn’t make up something in her head. He says, it’s all good. Her checkup was good. Everybody is happy. She doesn’t know why he can’t relax and enjoy it. He says for the same reason she can’t.

Back at the Quartermaine’s, Oscar says it was awesome. Jason says Oscar kept trying to get him to go on the highway, and Kim thanks him for not listening. Josslyn says she knew he’d be okay. Oscar tells Cameron that he should get a bike like that. Kim says Oscar should rest now, but he has one more favor to ask. It would mean a lot if his dad and Jason could figure out how to be brothers.

Maxie says she didn’t mean to put Peter on the spot. He says Lulu kind of left him in the lurch, and he has a ton of work. She says she understands. The cover proof is a total disaster. Maybe they should reschedule. He says she already got a sitter, but she tells him it’s fine. They’ve waited this long; they can wait until they don’t have to squeeze it in. She tells him to go, and he flies.

Anna sees Finn at the hospital, and he asks if everything is all right. She says, actually, she and Robert had a trip down Memory Lane. He says, they’re done already? It’s a lot of history. He would expect it to be a longer walk. She says it reminded her of how happy she is. He asks, how happy is that? and she says, pretty happy. She doesn’t want to keep looking in the past. They kiss, and she says she’ll see him tonight. When she’s gone, he sends a text.

Robert’s phone dings. He reads, you have something of mine. Robert looks at the ring again, and smiles.

Carly tells Sonny, no offense, but she feels like she’s handling the idea of a new baby a little better than him. He says, more than little. She says she’s still scared everything could go wrong, but thinks the odds are in their favor, and they’ll have a healthy baby. Sonny says, what if they don’t? If they get more, they’ll love more, and the more they have to lose. Carly says she’s learning something from Josslyn. She’s staying in the present, and that’s where she’s focusing. She only has Oscar today. She’s trying to do the same thing with the baby. It’s all good today. The baby is healthy today, and so is she. Sonny says, today be happy. It’s all they have. Tomorrow will take care of itself.

Nina runs into Michael, and says, he’s still there? He says he figured he’d check in on Sasha, and asks if she’s seeing visitors. Nina says she was given something for her fever, and will probably be drowsy, and shoves him into the room. Sasha says, Nina? Michael asks if she wants him to get Nina, an she says, Nina. She wishes Nina was her real mother.

Jason says he never thought he and Drew would find common ground, but now.. Drew says, Oscar? and Jason says, yeah. Drew thinks him for giving Oscar a ride, and Jason thanks Drew for trusting him with his son.

Kim asks Julian how Leo is. Julian says, good. She tells him that he doesn’t have to hold back. He’s allowed to have a healthy son, and be happy about it. She thanks him for coming. He says she’s welcome, but he’s not sure what good he’s doing. She says he doesn’t have to do anything. He’s there, and that’s what matters. They hug.

Oscar tells Josslyn that he needs to talk to Cameron a moment. Josslyn says, guy stuff? and Cameron tells Oscar, don’t be embarrassed. It’s brave of Oscar to come to him for manly advice. Josslyn leaves, and Oscar tells Cameron to get out his phone. He needs to make a video. Cameron hesitates, and Oscar says, trust him. Cameron starts filming. Oscar says, hey, Joss. If you’re seeing this, it means I’m gone.

On Monday, Franco has an idea for the Nurses’ Ball, Doc says they’ll give Ryan the memorial he deserves, and Neil asks what if Sonny is wrong?

General Hospital

Alexis calls Sonny from Charlie’s. She asks where Kristina is, and when can she see her? Sonny says, she’s safe. When Jason got her, she was still knocked out by whatever they gave her. Alexis says, so much for DOD being the only people she can trust. Sonny hopes Kristina sees it that way. Alexis tells him to keep her posted. Julian comes by, and asks if she’s okay. She says she’s had better days. There’s a lot at stake. He asks if she’s referring to Kristina. She just bailed on work.

Jason looks at the text he just sent from Kristina’s phone. She wakes up, and he tells her, everything is okay. She’s fine. She asks, what happened? He says she was in a bad place, and he took her out.

Still in bed, Chase sees Willow’s tattoo. She says it doesn’t bother her anymore, but he says it bothers him. It’s like Shiloh branded her. She used to look at it that way, but now it’s just a tattoo. She’s free. They kiss. He asks if she knows what he wishes, and she says, that he could kiss it and make it better? He says, something like that, and she says he’s welcome to try.

Harmony asks Shiloh if he’s heard from Kristina. He says she hasn’t called, and his calls are going to voicemail. He has Daisy out looking for her. Harmony says maybe Kristina isn’t as devoted as he thought, but he insists, she is. He made sure of that. Sam walks in, and says she’s kind of embarrassed about last night. Shiloh says she had a moment, and moved through it. Instead of calling Jason, she reached out to him. Harmony asks if she’s spoken to Kristina this morning.

At the hospital, Sonny asks Josslyn how Oscar is doing. She says she and Carly are waiting for him to wake up. Sonny asks her to get something to eat for Carly at the cafeteria, and for herself. She needs to gain strength. When she’s gone, he asks Carly if there’s been an update in Oscar’s prognosis. Carly says he’s been taken off the ventilator. He can breathe on his own, but they don’t know if he’ll ever wake up.

Terry tells Drew and Kim, all they can do is keep Oscar comfortable and wait. The machine dings, and Kim asks if Oscar can hear her. He says, hi, and Terry tells him that they took the tube out, and it will be a while before his voice comes back. Don’t worry. Drew says Josslyn is outside, and asks if he should get her. Terry says she’d like a minute alone with Oscar. She wants to examine him, and run some simple tests without any distractions, happy though they may be. Kim tells Oscar that she loves him, and kisses his forehead.

Josslyn gives Carly a smoothie, and asks if there’s any chance she can see Oscar. Drew says, a pretty big one; he’s awake. Kim adds that he’s breathing on his own. Drew tells her about the tube, and says he can’t speak, but the good news is, he can’t cut her off. Josslyn says she’ll take full advantage of that. Drew tells her that she can’t go in just yet. Terry is running some tests. Kim leaves to call Julian, and Sonny says he’s going; they’re in his prayers. Carly says she’ll keep him posted. Josslyn tells Carly, it’s not over yet. She gets to see and talk to him again, and he can talk to her. Carly hugs her.

Willow asks Chase if it’s okay that she spent the night. She’s not sure about the etiquette. This is her first relationship. She asks if it’s too soon to call it that, but Chase says he definitely considers it a relationship. He’s happy she spent the night, and hopes there are many more. She says her too, and they kiss.

Julian tells Alexis that Oscar is finally awake, and he’s going to head over there. Molly comes in, and says she’s glad Alexis is there. Alexis is surprised, considering the location. Molly says it’s Kristina’s shift, and she was hoping for a truce. At least maybe they can agree to disagree about DOD. Alexis says Julian told her that Kristina isn’t coming in. She didn’t say why. Molly asks if Alexis has seen her, but Alexis says, nope. Kristina has ghosted her too. She’d love stay and chat, but she has a meeting. She tells Molly not to worry. Her sister will show up.

Sam tells Harmony that she hasn’t heard from Kristina, but she wasn’t expecting to. She asks if something is wrong, but Shiloh thinks they just got their wires crossed; it happens sometimes. Harmony asks Sam how Kristina seemed yesterday, and Sam says, great; the best she’s seen Kristina in a long time. She seemed happy and at peace. Why? Shiloh says he does a check-in every morning, and she missed it. It’s a first. Sam laughs, and says Kristina isn’t known for following rules. Shiloh says she’s been reliable, and Sam says, everyone has an off day. She wouldn’t worry. She’s sure Kristina will turn up.

Jason gives Kristina some water. She asks, what is this place? and he says, it’s a property. She says, a safe house? Why is she there? She says, omg. She was at DOD for her ceremony. He says, it never happened, and she asks what he did. He says he let himself in. She was in the attic, and he carried her out. She says he had no right. This is her choice. Shiloh honored her. Did Shiloh know he was there? He says, no, and she says Shiloh just thinks she ran off after he chose her. How could Jason do that to her?

Terry tells Drew and Kim that Oscar is sleeping; it’s normal. Josslyn wants to sit with him, but Drew says she needs to prepare herself. This last seizure took its toll. She tells him not to worry. She can handle anything. She leaves, and Terry says she believes her. Carly steps away to give them privacy, and Terry tells Drew and Kim that Monica asked to be included. They all leave to go somewhere more private.

Jason tells Kristina that she can’t leave. She asks if she’s a prisoner. He says Max and Milo are outside, and tells her to be mad at him, not them. He can’t let her go. She says he violated her rights, agency, and free will. He’s acting superior, and kidnapped her because he’s jealous of Shiloh. Sam sees the truth. Shiloh is enlightened, and he’s on a path to nowhere. He asks if she wants breakfast, and she says the only thing she wants is her freedom. He’s known her for her entire life. She thought he was the only person who would be fair to her. He says if it had been up to him, he would have taken her out weeks ago. She says he can’t do this; he has to let her go. He says she’s right about one thing. He’s known her for her entire life, and whenever possible, he’s kept her safe. Does she think he’d stop now? She scowls at him.

Michael comes by Chase’s apartment. Does no one call ahead? He was thinking about Willow told them regarding DOD. There has to be a way to close Shiloh down. Chase says he has to be careful. He can’t consider anything illegal. Michael wonders if they can’t come up with another sting. Willow comes out, wearing one of Chase’s T-Shirts. Michael says they can discuss it later, but Chase says he’s already there. They’ll think of an out-of-the-box way to trap Shiloh.

Sonny calls Jason, and asks if there were any problems. Jason says, no. Sam got Shiloh away, allowing him time to get Kristina’s phone. He found her in the attic, and carried her out. Sonny asks how he unlocked the phone, and Jason says Kristina gave him the password. She was pretty doped up. She didn’t realize what was happening. He texted Julian from her phone, and said she wasn’t coming in. Sonny says, so as far as Shiloh is concerned, she ran off on her own. He asks how she is now, and Jason says, understandably furious. Sonny walks into the safe house, and Kristina runs to him, crying. He says, it will be all right. She says she knows he thinks he’s trying help her, but he’s doing more harm than good. She thinks she’s better off at DOD. He has to take her back. She cries, and he holds her.

Terry tells Drew and Kim, the growth of the tumor has severely compromised Oscar’s mobility. His right side has been significantly weakened, and she’s concerned he’ll have trouble walking. Josslyn goes in to see Oscar. She takes his hand, and kisses it. Terry wants to make it clear; Oscar will not regain the ground he lost. In her experience, when this stage is reached, it progresses quickly. Oscar smiles, and thanks Josslyn. He says, sorry, and she says she forgives him – this time. Terry says, other than keeping Oscar comfortable, there’s nothing further they can do, medically speaking. Monica guesses it’s time to figure out what they’re going to do.

Monica says she’s made arrangements for Kim and Oscar to stay as long as they need to. They can come today. Kim thanks her, saying it’s generous. Monica says, it’s not generosity; it’s family. Drew says they’ll have to ask Oscar first, and Monica says, of course (🍷); no pressure. He may want to stay in his own room, or go to Mount Kilimanjaro. Drew says, he told her? Monica says, Oscar’s wishes are paramount. Kim guesses the first thing they need to do is talk to Oscar about the end of his life, and ask where he wants to live the rest of his days.

A now-dressed Willow hates to say it again, What Shiloh is doing is wrong, but he doesn’t break any laws. Michael says they need a new angle. What about the money? Willow says, the people who give him money consider it an honor. The more they give, the deeper they move into his Trust. Michael says, it implies coercion. If Kristina stops paying, she’ll be expelled. It’s extortion. Chase says, good luck proving it in court. Michael says they might have no way in, but they have something – Willow.

Sam apologizes to Shiloh again. Last night, she was kind of a mess, but she thinks she made a tiny breakthrough. Shiloh says, it was a significant breakthrough. Molly comes in. She sees Sam, and asks if she’s there to check on Kristina. Shiloh says she must be Molly, and she says, he’s Shiloh. The guy who’s not running a cult. Her sister called in sick. Molly asks if Shiloh can send one of his minions to get her. He says she’s not there, and Molly says she lives there, doesn’t she? If she’s not at work, and not home, where is she? Sam says, she could be anywhere. There are a lot of other options. Molly asks if she’s not worried, and Sam says, not yet. Shiloh explains that Sam is one of his students, and Molly asks if she’s completely lost her mind.

Sonny tells Kristina that she knows he loves her, and because he loves her, he’s keeping her there. He’s keeping her safe, and she’s not going back. Kristina starts yelling, saying, he can’t do this; he has no right. He says he has every right to protect his daughter from a predator. Kristina says Shiloh understands her in a way he never could. Sonny says Shiloh is using her. She wants to talk to her mother. She knows about the law, and he’s breaking it. He says he’s broken worse. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Alexis. Sonny tells Kristina, go ahead. Talk.

Josslyn reads The Wind in the Willows out loud to Oscar, while Drew and Kim watch. Kim tells Josslyn that she’s an entertaining reader. Josslyn says, it helps having a captive audience. Drew asks for parent/son time, and Josslyn says she’ll be outside. Kim says Oscar must be tired. He is, but he doesn’t know why. All he’s been doing is sleeping. Kim tells him that they talked to Terry. The tumor is growing rapidly, which is why he’s not as strong on his right side after the last seizure. As time goes on, he’ll probably have more seizures like this. Oscar, says, okay. He guesses this means he’s finally in the home stretch. This is it. He’s really dying. Kim calls him beautiful boy, and cries, as she touches his face.

Kristina asks if Alexis went along with this. Alexis says it wasn’t her first choice. Kristina says she’s an adult. She’ll press charges, and get Alexis disbarred. Alexis says when she gets out, do that. It will be worth it. Kristina asks why they’re afraid of people who are kind, generous, and loving. Alexis says they behave falsely to lure in impressionable young people. Kristina suggests Alexis just call her stupid, but Alexis says she’s not stupid. There’s a knock at the door, and Kristina asks if everyone was invited to this kidnapping. Someone help her. Sonny opens the door, and Alexis says, Neil. Sonny says they know each other? Alexis says, you could say that. He’s her therapist.

Molly says Sam has fallen for this guy’s act. Sam says she’s investigated Shiloh, and while he has questionable things in his past, everything if legit. Molly tells Shiloh, he is good to get Sam to fall for his act. What it is, is a front. She read his book. It’s derivative, some of it is plagiarized, and the author is a textbook narcissist. Sam tells Shiloh, sorry, but Molly says don’t apologize for her. Good luck with her enlightenment. She walks out, and Sam follows her. She tells Molly to listen to her. Molly says, this place is a cult. They’re getting people to open up about their lives, and she wonders what they’re doing with the information. In the meantime, they’re taking money, and getting in between the followers and their families. Sam says nothing is going to get between her and Kristina. Molly says she’s not losing both sisters to Shiloh. She leaves, and Sam smiles.

Michael says Willow can meet Shiloh in public; she knows his tricks. She asks, then what? Record it? Shiloh is too smart to say anything incriminating. Chase says he’s seen the games Shiloh plays. He finds Shiloh manipulative, creepy, and unsettling – and he carries a weapon. He’ll help if they can come up with a decent plan that won’t put Willow near that guy. Michael says, what if she didn’t have to go near Shiloh?

Josslyn tells Carly that she can’t believe Oscar never read The Wind in the Willows when he was a kid. Carly says she didn’t either. Jax got it for Josslyn because his mom read it to him. Josslyn knows Oscar will love it; it’s an awesome book. Carly missed out. Monica approaches, saying Drew and Kim wanted them to have an update. The tumor is progressing. They’re going to keep Oscar as comfortable as possible, and hopefully he’ll have a few more alert days. Josslyn says, days. Monica says, the time is very short, and Josslyn asks if he’ll have to die there. Oscar probably won’t say anything, but it’s not what he wants. Monica says she doesn’t think so either. His parents are talking options as they speak. Carly thanks her. She leaves, and Josslyn says maybe they’ll have time to finish the book. She cries in Carly’s arms.

Michael thinks Kristina might listen if Willow talks to her alone. Willow says, members are taught that doubters are weak and less evolved. Michael says he’s done everything he can. Kristina needs to know the truth, and Willow might be the one person she’ll accept it from.

Kristina says, priceless. Her father accidentally hired her mother’s therapist to deprogram her from an imaginary cult. Nice to meet their accomplice in a federal crime. Alexis says Kristina doesn’t know everything. Neil tells Kristina that she can call him Neil, but she says she’s not doing that. He should cure her parents. They need his services more than she does. They’re keeping her here against her will. Neil says they think she’s in danger, but Kristina says they don’t want her to find peace. Neil says, all good parents want that for their kids. Kristina doesn’t care what they want. DOD is her new family. Neil asks, how so? and Kristina says she’s not doing this. It’s wasting time. She walks out of the room. Alexis says, please tell her that Kristina isn’t going out the back door, and Sonny says, Max and Milo are outside. There’s no way to get out. Alexis says, so Neil is here, and Neil says, it looks that way. He thought she said it was a bad idea, and she says she did, but Sonny ignored her advice. What a surprise. Sonny asks, what happens next? Neil says this makes his work harder, but Sonny says if Kristina had left on her own, they wouldn’t need him. Neil says he usually works with people who have left on their own, and want to get better. If she returns to DOD, full of rage and betrayal, they’re not likely to see her again.

Carly wishes she could do something to make it easier. Josslyn says, it’s not supposed to be like this. But if loving Oscar means it’s going to hurt, bring it. It’s better than not loving him. Carly says she knows.

Drew tells Josslyn that Kim and Oscar are moving in with the Quartermaines to live as a family. Josslyn is welcome any time, all the time. She thanks him, and goes back in to see Oscar. Julian holds Kim. Drew sits with Monica, and she cries. Josslyn is glad Oscar is awake, and they can still talk. She was afraid she wouldn’t even get that. Oscar says, no way. She takes his hand, and says, one more question. What does he want to do with the rest of his life? She gets in the bed with him, and they cuddle.

Willow says she’d like to help. She can tell Kristina what she knows, but when Shiloh finds out – and he will… Michael says she’s afraid Shiloh will come after her. He understands, but there are two things he’d like her to consider; him and his father. He’s the CEO of ELQ, and has more connections and resources than Shiloh. He can protect her. His father is allegedly the most powerful crime boss, and controls the city. He has a long reach, and would do anything to protect the person who helps his daughter. He thanks her for considering it, and leaves. Chase tells her if she’s worried about provoking Shiloh, or that he might figure out she had his child, don’t do it. Michael is resourceful. He’ll find another way.

Shiloh throws his book across the room. Harmony runs in, and tells him, the cup is gone. She took it. If she shows it to the wrong people… Shiloh says, she’s loyal. Harmony hopes he’s right. If she didn’t take it, someone else did. It could be bad for them. He tells her, go find it. Just find it. And look for Kristina too. She’s too valuable for them to lose.

Jason looks at the cup with the tattoo symbol on it. Sam calls, and asks how Kristina is. He says, she’s pissed. Sonny and her mom are with her. She tells him Molly stopped by DOD, and she told her that she was taking classes there. She was looking for Kristina. Jason asks about Shiloh, and she says he asked about Kristina, but she acted casual. She thinks he believes Kristina left on her own. She told him that Kristina gets like this; she’s a flake. He seemed to buy it. Jason thinks it’s going to take a while to get Kristina to believe Shiloh is not a good guy.

Alexis can’t believe Neil is helping Sonny. Sonny says Kristina was already drugged, and was about to be tattooed and literally screwed. Neil tells them they can’t be arguing. If they need to, they should go outside and get it out of their systems. Kristina is going to work hard to manipulate them, and pit them against each other. They have to show a united front, no matter what throws at them.

Tomorrow, Valentin tells Spencer that the truth always comes out, Ava asks if Jordan thinks Ryan is dead, and Laura asks Finn if he thinks Ryan is dead.

✂ Tonight, on Project Runway, the challenge was the future of streetwear. What is that anyway? The same thing as the used vintage stuff I wore when I was in acting school? Kovid was out for a lack of cohesiveness, although I loved his vest with Steampunkish accents. He had also been in the bottom three about fifteen times, even though they were only on episode five. Oddly enough, the guy who’s cried his way through every episode, didn’t shed a tear.

General Hospital

At the MetroCourt, Maxie tells Peter they have to go. He says he’s starving, but she says, the DNA results are in. It’s time to see if Sasha is who she and Valentin say she is.

Valentin comes to Nina’s office with flowers. She asks who the lucky woman is, and he says he’s the lucky man. They kiss, and he asks if she wants to join them for dinner. She asks who else is coming, and he says Obrecht. She says it’s a hard pass.

Carly sees Curtis at the hospital, and asks how Jordan is doing. He says, kicking ass and taking names. She asks if Jordan is on the transplant list, and he says, not yet. Carly says, that’s good; it means her condition isn’t as acute. Walking through the hallway to meet Curtis, Jordan has to stop for a moment and rest. She asks Curtis how it went, and he says he went to the source, and got what he was looking for. Carly asks if there’s any information on Ryan, and Jordan says the search has been called off. She tells Carly to take precautions, and Carly says Sonny has her guarded within an inch of her life. Carly leaves, and Curtis tells Jordan that he talked to people who don’t like to talk to cops. There were no missing watercraft or vehicles. She says, if Ryan survived, he didn’t get far.

Elizabeth asks if Cameron is nervous, and he says his life is on the line. She says, when you’re a parent, your child’s life is your life. He says, it goes both ways. She asks what he means. Franco joins them, and says Cameron means he wouldn’t be in this mess if it wasn’t for him.

Laura visits Doc at the station. He wasn’t sure if he’d see her today. She says his arraignment is today, so she brought him fresh clothes.

Lulu asks Dante if something happened, and he says, it’s hard to explain. She tells him to take his time. He’s sorry, but he’s out of time. He has to leave. She says, and go where? He says, away from Port Charles. She says that’s not his answer. He says he can’t be there, and never should have come back.

Nina tells Valentin that it was a horrible idea to hold Peter hostage, but she supported Obrecht; she knew Obrecht was grieving. She was too, Valentin says Obrecht is family, but Nina doesn’t care. Obrecht insulted her daughter. Valentin says she might be misguided, but he thinks Obrecht loves her. For the benefit of giving James a tight knit family, maybe she could agree to start over. She says, respect each other? Act like family? and he says maybe they could meet halfway.

Maxie tells Peter that she likes Sasha, and he knows how she feels about Nina. He says Sasha is the half-sister she never wanted, and now can’t live without. Maxie hopes Sasha is Nina’s daughter. Peter says, only time will tell. When they get the DNA results, they’ll know what they’re dealing with. Obrecht pops out, and asks if someone said DNA tests.

Lulu asks what Dante is saying; he’s better off not there?  They don’t need him or he doesn’t need them? Explain. He says he doesn’t know how, and she says, try. He says he doesn’t feel like himself. She says she’ll take him to GH, but he says they can’t help. She says she’ll take him somewhere else. Robert owes him. She’ll start packing. He says she can’t come. This is something he needs to do on his own.

Epiphany tells Ava that she just needed to replenish her fluids. Ava says she’ll restock her wet bar, and Julian says that’s just what she needs. Epiphany says, any more, and it would have been alcohol poisoning. Ava says it’s a sweet way to go. Epiphany leaves, and Ava tells Julian to give her a break. She’s getting phone calls from beyond the grave. Excuse her if she’s wound up.

Doc thanks Laura; his other shirt had blood on it. She asks if he’s been seen by a medical professional, but he says, it’s not as bad as it looks. She says, what about his legal situation? He says, it’s as bad as it looks. They both start apologizing at the same time, and Laura says they do this a lot. He says, ladies first, and she asks if he has legal representation. He says he does, and as much as he wants her in the courtroom, she’s the mayor, and stands for the people. She says she’s his wife, and doesn’t see how she can separate the two. He does. He says file for divorce. He won’t fight it.

Elizabeth tells Cameron to remember that Judge Carson doesn’t take excuses, and most of all, say he’s sorry. Franco says he’s probably scared, and Elizabeth says, good. Trina comes into the courtroom, and sits in the behind them. The judge tells Cameron, approach the bench, and he walks up. She says she issued an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal. He made it almost two whole months without missing his community service. Tell the court why she shouldn’t punish him to the full extent.

Lulu says Dante was gone for months, and he needs more time alone? He says, that’s not what this is about. When he went to find Raj, he thought he knew what he was doing, but got in way over his head. He has no control, and he’s worried he’ll hurt somebody, even though he doesn’t mean to. She says that’s not who he is, but he says something happened while he was over there. He changed, and doesn’t know how to change back. He’s not the man he was before. Lulu says it’s like the stories about war veterans; he has PTSD. They’ll get him therapy. She’ll get a referral from Doc. He says, that’s the idea, but he’s not going to change talking to a shrink. He needs someone who’s seen this before, and knows how to handle and deal with it. He needs time. She asks, how much? but he doesn’t know. She asks, if he leaves, is he ever coming home?

Laura asks if Doc wants a divorce. He says there’s nothing he wants less, but he refuses to drag her down with him. If only he could go back. He screwed up royally. He was convinced he could reach his brother and save him. Three people are dead, and Lulu was almost a fourth. Laura says, she made it, and Doc says, barely. It’s completely on him. Laura tells him, no one would say completely, but he says, they should. The arrogance of him, thinking he could save his brother. There will be a cost, but she shouldn’t have to pay. If she divorces him, the public will understand, and praise her for her strength and independence. She tells him, forget her political career, but he says he can’t. She wonders how they got here, and he says, one reason, and she’s looking at it.

Obrecht asks which one of them is running the test, and Maxie says she is. Nothing to worry about. Obrecht says these tests are not to be taken lightly, and Maxie says, especially not this one. She asks if Obrecht remembers her non-blonde hair. She needs to know if it’s a fluke, or her first break in the road to greydom. Obrecht says, she’s running a test over a grey hair? Maxie says if she’s carrying the gene for becoming prematurely grey, she needs to know, and so does her colorist. Obrecht asks why Peter is there, and Maxie says, emotional support. She hopes Maxie finds the answer she seeks. Maxie says she’ll keep Obrecht updated. When she’s gone, Peter asks, what are the chances she bought it? Maxie says, slim to none.

Sasha goes to Nina’s office. Nina says, she’s coming too? and tells Valentin he should have led with that one. He says he was giving the bad news first. Sasha says she was hoping to get a moment alone with Nina. Nina tells Valentin to get a table, and if Obrecht shows up first, put her in a good mood. He leaves, and Nina asks if everything is all right. Sasha doesn’t know how to say this, but she’s not who Nina thinks she is. She thinks Sasha is someone who deserves what Nina has given her, and that’s not the case. Nina says she does deserve it, and more. Sasha is her daughter, and she loves her. She’s the greatest surprise that ever happened. Nothing can change that. She doesn’t need to know anything. Does Sasha thinks she doesn’t have any skeletons in her closet? She has so many, her closet is busting at the seams. Sasha says, not like this. Nina doesn’t know what brought this on, but Sasha needs to set it aside. They have to go meet Valentin. He’s worked hard to keep his family together, and she owes him that much. After that, they can talk, and Sasha can unburden herself. Whatever her misdeed is, it’s not changing anything.

Obrecht asks Valentin where Nina is, and he says, with Sasha. They’ll be coming in a minute. Obrecht says, unless her daughter-in-law gets to them first. She told him not to underestimate Maxie. He should have heeded her warning.

Peter tells Maxie that Obrecht is going to go straight to Valentin. He’s probably with her now. Maxie says, either Sasha is Nina’s daughter or not. Peter says Valentin could also be confessing to Nina, and throwing himself on her mercy. Maxie says, she looks like Britt, and more like Nathan than Britt does. It would be amazing if Sasha was really her daughter. Peter says he doesn’t think it’s likely. If Valentin hired someone… Maxie says, he hired someone who will pass.

Cameron tells the judge that he was given a second chance, and he blew it. He was upset with his family, and his friends wanted to go away. Judge Carson asks if his so-called friends were aware of his community service. He says they were, but their intention was to get home before that time. The judge says, good intentions might pave the road to hell, but hold no weight with the court. Cameron says he did think ahead, just not far enough. He didn’t factor in a blowout or his friend’s health complications. He’s learned from this experience, and will do better because of it. He’ll weigh the consequences of his actions, if given the chance.

Julian says he doesn’t think Ava is crazy, just stressed. She says she didn’t imagine it. She got a call from an unknown caller, and could hear Ryan’s heavy breathing. He says maybe it was a prank or a wrong number. Ava’s phone rings. It says unknown caller, and she shows him. She says, he was saying?

Laura tells Doc that she hasn’t gotten this far by doing what everyone else wanted, and she’s not starting now. She doesn’t want a divorce. He asks what that means for them, but Jordan comes in. They need to get Doc to the courthouse. Laura kisses him, and tells him, good luck.

Dante says he’s so sorry. Lulu says to tell her that he’s coming back, but he can’t. She asks, what the hell is going on? He says if he’d known what was going to happen, what the cost would be, he never would have left. Lulu says it doesn’t have to be this way. She, Charlotte, and Rocco are all still there. He hasn’t lost anything. He says he made the wrong call, and regrets it more than he can say, but he can’t unmake it. All that’s left is to pick up the pieces. She tells him, then do it there, but he says he can’t. He’s not doing this to her or anyone he loves. There’s no other option. She says, there are always options; pick one. He says, it has to be done through the proper channels or it won’t work. She asks if he’s talking about the WSB, and he says he leaves tonight.

Judge Carson says it’s the opinion of the court that Cameron’s growth is best served under the care of his mother and stepfather. However, his community service won’t be cut short, and he has to surrender his learner’s permit. It’s his last chance. If anything else happens, she’ll take a more punitive measure. He understands, and says he’ll stay out of trouble.

Obrecht says Valentin had Nina in the palm of his hand, but his work of deceit will lose her. He asks, what happened? and she tells him, Maxie and Peter are running a DNA test. Maxie gave her a pathetic excuse, but she knows better, and Valentin knows she collected samples from Nina and Sasha. It doesn’t take a genius to connect the dots. She suggests an extended business trip, and he should bring his daughter. He doesn’t want to be in range when Nina knows the truth. Nina appears, and says, the truth about what?

Maxie tells Peter, the truth will eventually come out; it always does. It’s better for Nina to hear it now. It’s like with Dante and Lulu, It would have been difficult to hear Maxie had a miscarriage, but better than hearing later that their daughter wasn’t their daughter. It was shattering. Peter says they got through it. Maxie says, they got past it, but something fundamentally changed for them, and she’s not sure it will ever be the same.

Lulu can’t believe this is happening. Dante says he’s sorry, and she tells him, stop saying that. He says he can’t. It never occurred to him that in protecting her he’d lose her. What they have is the most important thing to him. She tells him, then don’t abandon it. He says she’s not hearing him. He’s doing this because he loves them. It’s better than the alternative. She doesn’t believe that, and starts to cry. She says there’s nothing they can’t get through together. He says, that used to be case, and she says, it still is. He says he’s not who he was before. He’s lost. She says she’ll help him find himself, but he says she can’t.

Carly tells Laura that she spoke to Jordan, and there’s no word on whether Ryan is dead or alive. Laura says, let’s hope dead, and asks if Carly is okay. Carly asks if Laura is, but Laura says she wasn’t locked in a car trunk. Carly says Laura knows what she means, and Laura says, every day reveals a new layer of damage. Doc is being arraigned tonight. She just came from the PCPD. Carly asks how he’s doing, and Laura says, pragmatic to the end. He wants her to file for divorce.

Jordan thanks Curtis for his help. He says she’s superwoman and he loves her. Julian and Ava come in to the station. Julian says, someone is harassing Ava, but Ava says she knows it’s Ryan. Doc comes out in handcuffs, and Julian asks what he’s doing there. Jordan says, he was arrested. He’s on his way to his arraignment. She arrested him last night for aiding and abetting his brother.

Trina tells Cameron, awesome. She thought he’d be skewered. He had no idea she was coming, and she says she couldn’t leave him hanging. He’s her favorite road trip buddy. Elizabeth asks if he’s going to introduce her to his friend.

Laura tells Carly that her feelings for Doc change by the minute. Carly knows it’s incredibly difficult. Laura knows she must be angry with Doc because Ryan attacked her, and Carly says, not just her. Her and her baby.

Jordan tells Ava that she’s all ears. Ava says, last night she got a call from an unknown caller. Jordan says, she thinks it’s Ryan? She says she doesn’t think; she knows. Jordan asks if he spoke, and Ava says, it was his breathing; she knows him. Jordan says they’ll take her phone and trace the calls, and get a warrant for her cell provider to give them the locations. Ava tells Julian, someone is taking her seriously. Julian says Curtis has ways of cutting through red tape, and hands Curtis the phone. Curtis says he’s on it, but Ryan is smart enough to know it would be a dead giveaway to his location. Julian says, it’s probably nothing.

Maxie tells Peter she probably will have grey hair before this is over. A nurse at the desk gives her an envelope Brad left for her. She thanks Peter for being there. He says they make a good team. He’s kind of sad it’s over. She asks, what about their first date? and Peter says they did this instead. Maxie says, it’s not over yet. At least until she opens this. She tears open the envelope, reads the contents, and frowns. Peter asks, what does it say?

Dante comes out with his bag, and tells Lulu that he spoke to Rocco. He doesn’t think Rocco understands, and Lulu says they can be confused together. He asks her to try and not be angry, but she says don’t ask her to make it easier. He tells her to try and trust what he’s doing is for the best, to protect them, and make sure nothing happens that they can’t come back from. She asks if that means they can come back from this. He says if he doesn’t do this, they’ll never know. Lulu says, it feels wrong, and Dante says, everything about it is wrong. She asks what she’s supposed to tell everyone; Sonny, Michael, Dante’s mother? He tells her to say he left town. Something is broken inside him, and he needs to get it fixed. She says, they won’t accept it; they’ll want to help, just like she does. Dante says, they don’t have a choice, and Lulu says, just like her.

Nina tells Valentin that she can smell a lie a mile away. What are Maxie and Peter up to, and how does it affect her? She sees them come in, and says she’ll get it from the source. Nina says she heard Valentin is up to something regarding her. What is it? Maxie says they ran a DNA test. Nina asks, on who? and Maxie says her and Sasha.

Cameron introduces Trina to Elizabeth. He thanks her, and says he’ll see her in school. Elizabeth says he never mentioned anyone else was on the trip other than Oscar and Josslyn. He tells her that he didn’t say there wasn’t. She assumes he and Oscar shared a room, and he asks her to let him enjoy this. He leaves, and Franco asks, what just happened? Elizabeth thinks it’s time for a man to man talk. Franco knows just the wo-man to do that. He’s not Cameron’s favorite person. He tells Elizabeth that he’d like to hang out for a while. There’s something he has to take care of.

Curtis tells Julian and Ava that his contact came through. Good news; it’s not Ryan. It’s a robocaller; some kind of scam. I relate to her misery of getting these unwanted calls. Julian says he told her. Now can they go home? She asks, why? So he can get her to take what Epiphany slipped him? He says, a doctor wrote the prescription, so she can relax. She tells him, the only way to do that is if she knows Ryan is dead and buried. Julian says, that’s difficult if no one finds the body. She says, he came back for Felicia. He’ll come back for her. And when he does, she’ll be ready.

Laura can’t believe it, and Carly says they were surprised too. It’s crazy, right? Laura says, it’s wonderful. She must have been terrified. Carly says she was, but she’s learned life goes in a different direction at the drop of a hat. And it has consequences, some intended, some not. Laura says Doc knew his brother was dangerous. Carly says, the choice he made was awful, but only Laura can decide if the love they share is worth fighting for. There’s going be a fight, and it will get ugly but… She can honestly say, as much as Sonny infuriates her, she doesn’t regret standing by him. Carly has to go. They hug.

Franco paces in the courtroom hallway. Doc is lead in. They stare at one another.

Laura returns Alexis’s call. She’s not there, and Laura asks if they know what she was calling about. She says she’d like to discuss it further. Have Alexis call when she has the chance.

Lulu asks Dante, what if it doesn’t work? What if he doesn’t find himself; the man he’s supposed to be? Dante says, promise him… She shakes her head, and he says promise she’ll be okay, be happy, live her life, raise the kids, and the most important, take care of herself. She says she’s not giving up on him. He says she’s not giving up; she’s living her life. She says, it’s not a life if he’s not there. They kiss, and she cries. She tells him that she’ll wait forever if she has to. He says, forever is a long time. He picks up his bag, and goes to the door. Without turning around, he says he loves her, and he leaves. She says she loves him too. Outside, he leans against the door for a moment, and moves on.

IMO, kind of anticlimactic for a Friday, but I suppose not for Dante and Lulu fans.

On Monday, Nora is back to defend Doc, Nina asks why Maxie ran another DNA test, and Lucy says she’s not turning her back on Doc.

What I Watched Today

(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)

 

General Hospital

At the hospital, Carly sees Jason walking around. She asks if he’s been released. He says, ten minutes ago, proving it by showing her the paperwork. She knows he hated staying, and did it for her. She asks if Sam is still around, but he says they had to stage a fight. Shiloh walked in, and they had to cover. Carly asks if everything is okay with him.

Robert sits with Peter. He says it could be Peter’s last meal as a free man. Peter thinks room service is a better idea. Anna joins them, and tells him, sit. They need to talk. Peter asks, about what? Robert says, dealing with his lies.

On the phone, Curtis tells Stella that Jordan is in recovery. He’ll take all the prayers she’ll give him. He gets his strength from an incredibly tough woman who raised him. Nina comes by. Curtis says she doesn’t have to be there, but she says there’s nowhere she’d rather be. They hug.

Lulu tells Maxie that security always has someone on duty. Maxie thinks she might have nightmares tonight. Lulu tells her that she can take off, but Maxie says, too late; she’s in. Felicia and Mac arrive, asking what they’re up to. Maxie says, Lulu has a project. She’s just there for moral support. Lulu is trying to get an accurate list of Ryan Chamberlain’s victims.

Chase brings Ryan to the hospital. He sent the injury report to the PCPD. Ryan says they have no time to waste on a flesh wound. Ava runs in, and asks, what’s going on? Chase says Doc sustained an injury at Ferncliff trying to stop Franco before he escaped.

Elizabeth takes the rings out of her pocket. Someone bangs on her door. It’s Franco, who stumbles in, bleeding, and I wonder how the blip he made it all the way there? Instead of screaming, today, I’m laughing. He’s one tough dude.

Peter wonders if all of Anna’s exes offer such love and support. She says, Jason was Patient Six; who were the other five subjects? Robert says Peter offered to trade information for his freedom. Peter says he didn’t lie, but Anna says he didn’t tell the truth either. He’s been in touch with Patient One. It’s her.

Carly tells Jason, clearly Sam thinks she’s going to act interested in DOD, take some classes, and eventually try to persuade Kristina to leave. There would be a chance of it working if not for Shiloh. They only met once, and she knew he was slick. He thinks he’s charming, wearing his spirituality like a bad cologne. Jason asks if Carly thinks she would have picked up on it without knowing. She does. She tells him, never let a liar with an agenda into your life or around the people you love. She thinks Sam is taking a chance. Jason says Carly and the baby are a million times more important than Shiloh. She says, only a million?

Elizabeth says, okay, she’ll help him. She runs to get towels, and tells him, stay with her. I wonder why she’s leaving the door wide open. She asks what happened, and Franco says she needs to call the police.

Ava ask Ryan if Franco did this to him. Ryan says he managed to wound Franco. He tried to stop Franco when he did this. She asks what he was thinking. He could have been the fourth victim. He wishes he’d fought harder. Chase says it’s likely he didn’t get far. Chase gets a call, and steps out of the room. Ava says she thought she and Franco were friends no matter what. It’s horrible, and she prays it’s over soon.

Mac tells Lulu to stop glorying that twisted legend, and giving his crimes new life. Felicia says, it’s okay. She’s glad see Lulu up and about. Mac says, sorry; he’s frustrated. As soon as she’s released, Lulu interviews Franco, and now she’s knee-deep in another serial killer’s story. Lulu wonders what she was doing there so late that night. Felicia asks if Doc didn’t help her. Lulu thinks called him, but she didn’t leave a message. She was trying to figure out something about a discrepancy in the number of Ryan’s victims.

Peter doesn’t know if he should be disappointed or grateful that he didn’t know. Robert thinks he was tripping them up with disinformation. Peter points out that Anna has gone from being maternal to again being his adversary. Anna says the simple truth is that she and her sister were subjects in the memory transfer study that Cabot did. Peter insists he’s never heard of Cabot. Robert calls Peter Henrik, and he says his name is Peter, and he never had any dealings with Cabot. Anna says, what about Klein? Was calling Jason Patient Six his doing or Klein’s? Peter says Klein was affiliated with the DVX, who supported his research. The research was given to Andre, and when the transfer was complete, Klein labeled the subjects. He doesn’t know who they were. He never saw their faces, Robert says Peter lied in bargaining with them. Peter says he was instructed to kill Jason, but he paid Klein to take him instead. Anna asks if Klein ever said anything about the parameters of the original study, but he says, sorry. If he could do anything… He thinks for a second, and says there may be a way to gain access to Klein’s records.

Curtis tells Nina that he’s struggling to keep it together. Nina says, real men have feelings too, and he’s the realest she knows. She asks how Jordan is, and he says, she’s in recovery, but they had to remove a kidney. The second one was damaged, but not as bad. They’re keeping close watch. Nina knows it sounds terrifying, but Jordan is strong, and has a great life ahead. Jordan loves him so much, and she’s proud of TJ. Finn joins them, and Curtis asks how his wife is; no sugarcoating. Finn says, let’s talk.

Elizabeth tells Franco, stay calm and don’t worry. The police are sure to get there any minute. She calls 911 for an ambulance.

Lulu says Ryan is known to have killed seven, but she has a vague memory of her mom saying nine. She asks if the names Deborah Jones and Suzanne Smith mean anything to Felicia, but she says, no. Ryan never mentioned them to her. Mac asks where she got them from, and Lulu says, bits and pieces are coming back. Maxie says they were talking about discrepancies, and Lulu did an internet search. Lulu says she found stories about both of their killings. They remain unsolved, and happened in the time frame Ryan was there. Maxie says, it’s probably a coincidence, but Felicia says, there are no coincidences where Ryan is concerned.

Ryan says he really didn’t want to hurt Franco; just slow him down. Chase tells him not to feel bad about doing what he had to do. He’ll nominate Ryan for a Port Charles Pioneer Award himself. Ryan imagines what that would be like. Everyone is wearing evening clothes, and crowds around him. Confetti falls, and Ava kisses him. Alone on the side, Felicia says, it could have been me. Ava says maybe the mayor will personally give him the award. Chase says she still hasn’t resurfaced; she’s still out of touch. Ava says, it’s unsettling; the mayor MIA, and the commissioner fighting for her life. She asks how Jordan is, but Chase says they won’t tell him anything. His phone rings again, and he steps out. Ava asks if Franco hurt him, and Ryan says, no. She says, good. She doesn’t want anything to distract him when he explains why he didn’t tell her that he went to Ferncliff to visit her daughter’s killer.

Finn tells Curtis that Jordan is stabilized, which is good news. They’ll be moving her to ICU. Curtis asks if he was there during surgery, and Finn says he was in the room to consult. Curtis asks if removing her kidney was the only option. Finn explains that the kidneys regulate blood pressure, and hers was spiking to dangerous levels. Curtis asks where that leaves them, and Finn says, the remaining kidney has grade two trauma. The damage isn’t as severe, but the kidney is compromised, and she needs a transplant. Curtis looks as worried as we’ve ever seen him.

Peter tells Anna that Klein consulted with Andre, so he had to have access to the records of the original study. He thinks it’s the place to start looking. Robert says, assuming they still exist. Anna says she’ll find them. She thanks Peter, and he says, always a pleasure. Anna leaves, and Robert says she may be done with Peter, but he’s not.

Carly tells Jason that Franco was arrested, and went to Ferncliff. Earlier he gave Lulu an interview that was livestreamed. Jason says she didn’t watch, did she? She says, of course not, but they had a transcript. He says she didn’t read it, and she says, of course she did, and something stuck out. Franco was bragging that he was a better murderer than Ryan Chamberlain aka Todd Wilson. Todd Wilson was the alias of the man in the room next to her. She asks if Jason thinks there’s a connection. He suggests she call Spinelli, and have him do the research, but don’t go to Ferncliff herself. She says she did before she was pregnant. Jason says everything’s changed now. Finding out isn’t worth putting her and the baby at risk.

Mac leaves to make some calls. Felicia asks Maxie, what’s going on? Maxie says she’s determined to find out why this is affecting her. Maybe she saw the hell Ryan put Felicia through. Felicia says she was just a little girl; it can’t have has that much impact. Maxie doesn’t like all the murder talk. It reminds her of Nathan. Felicia figured as much. It’s always going to be hard, but imagine how it would feel if she didn’t know what happened. Felicia thinks Lulu wants to provide closure to the families. Mac comes back in, and says he called the police chiefs in both jurisdictions. Both women had their wallets, but no driver’s licenses. Omg, this is so good.

Ava says Franco must have been Doc’s suffering patient. He had to see Franco’s grotesque bravado, and dire need for treatment, yet he chose not to tell her. Ryan says he saw the stress it caused her and wanted to err on the side of discretion. He’s a healer, and thought he could help ease Franco’s transition to Ferncliff. The staff there are also his colleagues. She says he should have told her. She blames Franco. He’s not worth healing, or living. She asks if he thinks she’s a monster, and he says she’s a goddess. She is not catching on at all.

On the phone, Chase says he’s on his way. He tells Ryan and Ava that he has a location. Ryan asks if he knows Franco’s condition. Chase says he’ll update them as he knows more. Ava supposes it would be too much to hope he bled out. Ryan says, it’s over; forget Franco. He has a way reclaim their lives. Marry him tonight.

Elizabeth tells the 911 operator Franco’s condition. She says he’s coughing up blood, and to let the police know he’s not armed; he’s not a threat. Franco tells her to listen. He didn’t kill those people. He lied.

Anna sees Finn, and asks how Jordan is. He says, stable, and she tells him it’s the most decent news she’s gotten all day. Robert came out swinging, and Peter was on the defensive. He did admit to telling them just enough information to get out of prison, but offered something new. He thinks Klein is in possession of Cabot’s notes. She needs to get her hands on those records. She has to figure out a way to track down Klein. Jason comes out of the elevator.

Curtis doesn’t know why this is happening. They just got married, and had thier whole lives ahead. Nina says Finn put her on the transplant list. She’s a member of law enforcement, and no other health concerns; she’s a  great candidate. Curtis wants to be tested, and says probably TJ will too. Nina says she can write a story and have it online in 24 hours. People will want to help. Curtis says Jordan is a private woman, but Nina says she’s the police commissioner, and it’s human interest. She tells him to keep it as an option. He appreciates her. She says people have transplants all the time, and live long, happy lives. She’ll be all right. Something will come through for her. Curtis says he’ll hold her to that, and she says she’s not going anywhere.

Franco tells Elizabeth, it wasn’t him. It was Ryan Chamberlain.

Mac says the case files fit the pattern, and he’s put them in touch with the PCPD, Felicia wonders how Laura knew Doc had a list. Lulu says she didn’t dream the names up. Maxie says before she becomes haplessly confused, it was known Ryan killed seven, but Laura saw nine names on the list? Mac wonders how Doc got them.

Ava asks Ryan how they can get married tonight. He suggests going across the border to Niagara Falls. She asks, what’s the rush? He says he stared down death today, and just before that, he was blinded, afraid he’d never see her face again. He asks her to join her life to his. He’s only half alive without her, and can’t afford to lose her. She says she’s not going anywhere, but he says there’s nothing promised. Fortunes change, and life is precious. He doesn’t want to waste another minute. Marry him tonight. She agrees, and they hug. I feel both sick and excited that both them and the kids are headed toward one of my favorite places in the world. Will they somehow collide? After all, Felicia said there were no coincidences with Ryan. Although at least if Ryan isn’t around, Franco can get the real story out.

Elizabeth tells Franco that Ryan has been dead for over twenty years. She asks him to keep his eyes open. Chase comes in, and asks if anyone else is there. Elizabeth says, no, and Franco needs help. He says, send in the paramedics.

Mac says Doc could possibly have been doing his own research. Felicia says she just called Laura, and her voicemail is full. Didn’t Lulu call Doc that night? Maybe they should go to the source. Maxie asks if Lulu didn’t question him about it when she was hypnotize, but Lulu doesn’t remember. It was awkward because of her mother. Felicia says they go way back. He’ll come clean with them.

Ava says Doc’s divorce isn’t finalized, but Ryan says he filed it as a rush this morning. The clerk is a patient. She asks if he’s blurring lines, and he says he’d do anything for her. They’re going to Niagara Falls tonight. He tells her to go home and get her passport, and pack some warm weather clothes. They’re jetting to a proper honeymoon far away from their problems. Ava says she can’t be gone long; she can’t be away from Avery. He says they’ll play it by ear. He’ll meet her back there, and he’ll be counting the minutes.

Peter tells Robert to back off. He might even jeopardize his WSB credentials. Robert says who knows what he’ll find about Peter, but Peter says he can and will defend himself. Robert says, there’s Henrik Faison, killer, and chip off the old block, which is even unfair for Robert. Peter tells Robert to show him his best shot.

Anna explains to Jason that, according to Peter, Dr. Klein was working and consulting with Andre. She’s sorry about her son’s involvement, but Jason says, it’s okay; it’s over. Finn says, maybe, but a brilliant researcher would never throw away their records. Anna asks if Jason remembers seeing anything or anyone talking about Patients One through Four. Jason says he didn’t even know his name. He just wanted to get out. She asks if he thinks it’s possible Klein is still alive.

Ava sees Carly by the elevator. She wonders if Carly is going to ask why she’s positively glowing. Carly hadn’t noticed, and Ava says, it’s true love. She and Doc are getting married, and Carly’s not invited.

Peter tells Robert that he gets it. Robert doesn’t like or trust him, and the feeling is mutual. Robert says going after him is more trouble than it’s worth. Peter says if Robert leaves him alone, he’ll reciprocate. Robert says he wouldn’t take Faison’s word, much less his. Peter says he’s not his father, but Robert says he’s worse. With Faison, you knew who he was, and he knew who he was. Peter runs around trying be a good person. The problem is, one day he’ll revert to form and implode. Robert says he has to be around when that happens to make sure the people he cares about are nowhere near the blast, and the only person taken out is him. Robert leaves, and I honestly wonder what’s gotten into him.

Anna tells Jason that Klein was last seen boarding a plane to Moscow. Did Jason disappear him? Jason tells her that Sonny let him go. Finn says, that’s that, but she says, no, it isn’t.

Lulu tells Maxie she doesn’t have to stay. She’ll be okay. Maxie says she knows what it’s like to avoid going home to an empty house. Lulu says she can’t rest. Not until she remembers everything from the night she was attacked.

Carly says Ava and Doc are eloping? Ava says he can’t wait to make her a bride, and who is she to deny his heart’s desire? She gets in the elevator, and says she’ll send pictures. The doors close. Felicia and Mac asks if she’s joking. Carly says even Ava couldn’t make that up. It’s too insane not be true.

Ryan gets his locked box from the trunk of his car. He looks at the licenses, and says he had to give up his more recent acquisitions, but he still has them. And now, he has the love of his life.

Nina tells Curtis that she’ll wait if he wants to rest or get food. He says he has phone calls to make; she can go. Nina looks in Jordan’s purse for her keys. Since he’s made it clear he’s not leaving, she’ll get him a change of clothes. She takes out the phone, and says there’s a new voicemail from urgent. Curtis takes the phone, and I tell him, please, listen to it.

Franco is taken away on a stretcher. Chase tells Elizabeth, before she goes, he needs to know what happened. Elizabeth says he showed up, bleeding from a knife wound. Chase asks if he said anything, and Elizabeth tells him that Franco said he didn’t kill them. Ryan Chamberlain did. He must have been delirious. She leaves, and Chase says, either that, or a dead man did it. Ding, ding, ding! and whatever Ryan said yesterday about that penny.

Ryan says he’ll miss his new home town, but he has to get out while the getting is good. He turns around, and Carly is there. First time I’m liking her in a long time. I don’t think she knows what’s going on, but it looks like she’ll be throwing a wrench in Ryan’s works.

On Monday, Curtis asks Chase who urgent might be, Laura thinks they’re in trouble, and Carly can’t help but notice what Ryan has in the trunk.

When I see spring breakers, it makes me glad I didn’t go to college. Wall to wall, or beach to beach people, sloshing drinks on each other until blackout time does not seem like fun to me, or anything even remotely intelligent people should do. Maybe as much fun as Times Square really is on New Year’s Eve. Which is not at all. Might as well hang out at Coney Island. At least people pick up after themselves there. For he most part.

What I Watched Today

General Hospital

Jason asks if Sonny is reading the book. Sonny says Alexis gave it to him. He was hoping to see why Kristina is so hooked. Jason says he read it to research Shiloh, but doesn’t buy it. Sonny says, Alexis did, and he’s wondering how it affected Kristina. He wants to be filled in on Shiloh. Spinelli joins them and says, allow him. His research has borne something. He was in deep dive mode, but it has not been a proverbial cake walk.

Sam goes to the DOD house. Kristina answers the door, and asks why she’s there. Sam says, hello to her too. Shiloh says she’s there to see him.

On the phone, Alexis tells someone she was referred by Dr. Collins, and she’s wondering if she can get an appointment with Dr. Bern. Julian is taking out the garbage, and sees her. She says she’ll take the appointment tonight, and have Dr. Collins send her records. When she’s done, she asks Julian if he got that. He says she’s getting a new shrink?

Elizabeth wants to see Franco, but Jordan says they have a lot of questions for him, and the answers might not be pleasant. Elizabeth wonders why they’re assuming he’s guilty, and Margaux says, there’s strong circumstantial evidence. Franco is brought out, and asks Elizabeth where Scotty is. Jordan thinks he’s avoiding the inevitable. Margaux says the recovered the driver’s licenses from the art therapy room. Elizabeth says they were placed there; it’s a set-up. Jordan says it’s not the first time Lulu ID’d Franco, and Elizabeth says she’s confused. As for the licenses, Carly’s hair was found in Mary Pat’s hand, and the knife that killed Kiki went missing, and turned up in Griff’s apartment. Griff was innocent, and she doesn’t understand why they’re convinced Franco is guilty.

Not-Doc sees Griff, and flashes back to seeing him holding Ava. He signs in for blood donation, and sits next to Griff. He says, it’s a fine day to give blood, isn’t it?

Spinelli says, before David Archer went Zen and became Shiloh, he had a propensity for trouble. He lists many of Shiloh’s encounters with the law, as well as a couple of lawsuits. Sonny says maybe he was just a kid. Spinelli says, he was a restless young fellow, with too much money and no responsibility. After his funding went dry, he went searching for excitement, and ended up in Afghanistan. Then came the incident he claims turned his life around. Shiloh’s narrative reads phony and contrived, but Spinelli researched it, and the story checks out.

Shiloh tells Kristina that he and Sam were having a great conversation, and wanted to continue it. Sam says she wanted to find out more. She thought Kristina would be happier, and Kristina says it’s great Sam’s there, but she didn’t have a positive experience last time. Sam says she realized Kristina is important to her. She knows DOD is important to Kristina, so she’s come with an open mind. Shiloh says, after today, she’ll have a better understanding of Kristina’s dedication. Kristina leaves to do some outreach, leaving Sam and Shiloh alone.

Alexis says if Julian must know, she left therapy with Doc months ago, and realized it was premature. Julian asks why not go back to him, and she says he’s much too nosy. He says, good for her. It’s no secret she has a lot to work through. For someone who claims she’s done with him, she’s very interested in his relationship with Kim. They’re back together now. She says, poor Kim. She sits at the bar, and says, arrogant bastard. A guy sitting there says, I beg your pardon?

Not-Doc tells Griff, donating blood is an easy way to help save lives. Griff says, if you’re not afraid of needles, and not-Doc says, no problem there. And the post donation cookies help. Not-Doc says he needs Griff’s help, and Griff says, with…? Not-Doc says he can’t find Ava. Does Griff know where she is? Griff says, no, and asks why not-Doc would think he knew. Not-Doc says he saw them embracing earlier. Is there anything he’d like to share? Man to man.

Franco says Elizabeth makes salient points. Jordan says his situation is different. He asks, what about the licenses? Someone planted them; it’s exactly the same. Jordan says, those were obvious plants; the licenses, not so much. Franco suggests the killer deliberately deviated from the plan.  They came to him, and he told them all about himself. Now they’re exploiting his history, and using his past to pin the murders on him. Jordan says he has no alibi, and wears the same shoe as Lulu’s attacker. It matches the print. He says maybe they should drag everyone in who wears a size twelve. Jordan says then there are the notes from his sessions with Doc. Scotty shows up, and hands Jordan some paperwork. He tells her to take a look. They won’t be railroading his innocent son after all.

Jordan asks what it is, and Scotty says, a little thing he likes to call due process. Margaux says he wants an injunction. Scotty says Franco won’t be charged because of a medical factor. Margaux says they can’t move forward until Franco gets an MRI scan to make sure he has no brain tumor. Scotty asks if he’s going to have to call the judge.

Shiloh gives Sam a tour of the house. She says he has impressive friends. Jackie Templeton (aka Demi Moore, circa 1982). He says they met building sustainable housing in Central America. You meet amazing people doing outreach. He hopes it proves they don’t operate in the shadows. Sam has noticed he says we and us a lot, and he says likes to work closely in a collective sense. She says he has an almost paternal quality. She’s wondering why he never settled down and had a family. He says the members of DOD are his family. She gets that, but hasn’t he been tempted? He says he could ask Sam that question. She hasn’t settled down with Jason.

All Spinelli found were glowing endorsements. Sonny says, too clean. Shiloh’s got to be behind some kind of mess. Kristina comes in, and he thanks her for penciling him in. He’s sorry it’s short notice, but she says she was planning to come downtown anyway. The group she’s working with is hosting a Valentine’s Day dinner. He says her mom mentioned she’s been at the DOD house, and had nothing but good things to say. The seminar had a positive effect on her life.

Alexis repeats, arrogant bastard – not him. Unless he’s one too. She tells him not to take it personally. She’s sorry. She and her ex got into it. She’s sure her ex is nothing like him. He’s here alone reading and drinking water. He doesn’t know who she’s insulting now. She says she’s sure his book is a page turner. He shows her the cover, and it’s about Russia in the earlier 20th century. He says, so much social change in a short time. She asks if he’s a professor, and he says, a doctor, but a history enthusiast. He’s surprised she’s not drinking something stronger, but she says she had to give that vice up. He seems to be pounding it up with coffee. He says he has to go work. She thanks him for not asking her why she can’t drink anymore. He says, hmm… and I wonder if he’s her new shrink.

Alexis tells him that she quit two years ago. He says, congratulations, and she says it’s ironic that she’s sitting in her ex’s bar, since he drove her to drink, then drove her to therapy. The therapist had her bring him to the sessions. He asks if it worked, and she says the therapist dumped her. She has a new therapist, but no intention of bringing her ex to her sessions. He says, hmm… again, and she says, what? He tells her it’s not his place, but she says he has every right to an explanation. He says from what she’s told him, everything has been in the context of her ex.

Kristina asks what Sonny wants to know. He says Alexis gave him the book, and he was just reading it. He’ll let her know what he thinks. Kristina says Shiloh is a genius, and Sonny says, we’ll see. He told Shiloh that he’d better take care of daughter or else. She says he doesn’t trust Shiloh, but he says it’s what he would say to anyone spending that much time with her. She seems happy, and lights up when she talks about DOD. She says it’s kind of like the family she never had. He says, excuse me? and she says she didn’t mean it like that. She knows how fortunate she is, but she just inherited all of those relationships. Sonny says it doesn’t make them less important. She says she’s never been good at maintaining friendships, and her love life has always been messy. She finally found her people. She’s not just Sonny and Alexis’s daughter. There’s no history following her. She can define herself on her own terms.

Sam tells Shiloh that her relationship with Jason is none of his business. Or her relationships with anyone else. Shiloh says she’s confusing concern with judgement. It’s what they deal with there. They interrogate the mechanics of human behavior. Kristina’s session helped bring the barriers down that she put up around her trauma. They can help identify Sam’s barriers too. Sam says, fine. Make a believer out of her. Tell her why she can’t settle down. He asks if she’s sure she wants to hear this. Everyone she’s ever loved abandoned her.

Spinelli says his research didn’t yield much intel, but he did notice one constant. He shows Jason a picture of a woman with Shiloh, and says, she’s his closest ally. Or was at one time.

Griff tells not-Doc that he’s dead wrong. That ship sailed, and crashed and burned. Isn’t not-Doc dating her? There’s nothing left to discuss, unless not-Doc has something to add. Not-Doc says, you’re next… to give blood. Ha-ha! I love his little jokes to himself. Griff goes in, and not-Doc takes a cookie.

In the hospital hallway, Scotty asks for a moment with his client. Franco asks what the field trip is for; to buy time? Scotty says time is his best friend, and hopes the MRI goes at a snail’s pace. Elizabeth says, he’s stalling? Scotty says he’s delaying the charges, and asks her to come with him to see Griff. She kisses Franco, and says, it will be over soon. As usual, hospital security is totally lax, and the cop guarding him doesn’t care that Elizabeth could have slipped him a weapon. Scotty and Elizabeth leave, and Ava comes by. She says she heard he’d been arrested.

The guy tells Alexis, don’t get him wrong. If it’s cathartic, good. If bringing her ex helps, he thinks that’s fantastic. She says it doesn’t sound like he thinks so, and he says, maybe she doesn’t need her ex for her next breakthrough; just her. He’s been there, and realized the only person responsible for his own happiness is himself, and he’s not such bad company. Alexis says, except for the exiled Russian aristocracy. He says, that goes without saying. She says he’s insightful, and he says he’s been told he has that knack. He’d like to continue their conversation sometime. Perhaps over dinner.

Margaux asks what Jordan is thinking. Jordan says, Franco had the opportunity, but no motive. Margaux says, two out of three can convince a jury, and he didn’t have a motive before, but his killings were never random.

Franco tells Ava he was arrested, but it’s a misunderstanding. Ava says he’s no stranger to violence. He says he could never kill Kiki. He cared about her like she was his daughter. Ava says Kiki was her daughter, yet she found plenty of ways to hurt her. He says she’s not seriously thinking he did it. She doesn’t know what she’s thinking. When she thought he was Kiki’s father, she wanted to protect Kiki from him and his sadistic tendencies. You know what they say about old habits. He says his died. She says the cops say they have evidence, but he says they’re trying to pin the murders on him because of his history. He’s completely innocent, and while they’re wasting time with him, the murderer is free. He asks how she could think that of him after what they’ve been through. The lies, the manipulations, the double-crosses. Kiki was the better angel for both of them. He loved her, and would take his own life before he laid a hand on her. Ava believes him.

Griff asks if Elizabeth and Scotty want him to help exonerate Franco as a suspect in Kiki’s murder. Elizabeth promises he’s innocent. He didn’t do it. Scotty says Griff is legally obligated, so it’s not an option. Griff says he has patients in greater need of an MRI, and it will be a few hours. Scotty tells him, take his time. Scotty leaves, and Elizabeth thanks Griff. He says he didn’t have much choice. Elizabeth asks what happened; he has a scrape on his head (the second time they referenced that now). He says it’s nothing; he’s fine. She knows he’s having a hard time lately, and says if he needs to talk, she’s there. He repeats that he’s fine.

Not-Doc looks at Ava’s picture on his desk. He says Griff thinks he can throw her away like trash, and come crawling back to take her away from him. He just has to go. It will be difficult with Franco in jail, but Dr. Monroe has been visibly depressed since Kiki died. It’s the talk of the hospital. It would be terrible if he suffered an unfortunate accident.

Jason asks who the woman is, and Spinelli says, her name is Harmony. Just Harmony. She was born Loraine Miller, but changed her name when she joined DOD. Shiloh is the idea guy, and she’s more practicality. She helped him open branches, the most recent in Beechers Corners. Jason wonders why she didn’t follow Shiloh.

Shiloh hopes he didn’t offend Sam. Kristina told him about the hardships she had in life. How she was abandoned, and raised by an artist. It’s not a bad thing. Sam says, it’s not? Sharing her personal, private information with someone she doesn’t know? He says he’s concerned for Sam. He has no idea what she’s been through; the trials and dashed hopes. It’s not surprising that she’s attracted to dangerous men; it’s the only thing she knows. Sam says she thinks it made her strong. He says, what we think and reality are often different. Sam says he has impressive insights. He hands her the book, saying it’s part of the program. She was thinking of setting up a session. He says if she’d like another shot, she’ll have the opportunity shortly. She asks, what kind? and he tells her to come to their Valentine’s Day event. He thinks it will be the start of a new beginning for her.

Sonny wants to take Kristina and Mike out to dinner. Mike would be thrilled to see her. She asks how Mike is adjusting. Sonny says, it’s tough, but it was the right thing to do. She’s sure Sonny misses having him at home, and Sonny says he was slipping away more every day. There’s going to be a time when he doesn’t remember any of them, so it makes you realize how important it is to hold on to family while you still can. He’s happy that she’s happy at DOD, but doesn’t want her to forget her family. Kristina says, never. He tells her, if things don’t work out at DOD, he’s always there for her. They hug.

Alexis says the guy doesn’t want to have dinner with her. He says, maybe exchanging numbers would be a good start, but she says, it’s not a good idea. He seems like a nice guy, and she has a lot of issues. She thought she was ready to date, but doesn’t think it’s a good idea. She’s going through things she has to work out. He says, there’s nothing wrong with that. If she changes her mind… He gives her his card, and leaves. Julian asks what happened to her friend? She says if he means the guy she was talking to, she doesn’t know him. He was just being nice. She says she has an appointment, and leaves.

Ava says she knows Franco was heartbroken losing Kiki, and knows he’s telling the truth. It’s obvious. He says that means a lot. She says she just needed to hear him say it. He tells her that he needs a favor. He needs her to talk to Doc. The cops subpoenaed his nots, and for some reason, he made Franco sound like he was on the verge of a psychotic, homicidal break. If he felt that way, why not help him? Maybe Doc didn’t believe he’d act on his tendencies. Ava says maybe that’s why he didn’t say something to her. She says she owes someone an apology, and runs off.

Doc finds Griff, and says things got tense earlier, and he wants to apologize. He knows Kiki’s death affected Griff, and he’s sorry to upset him. They shake hands, and Griff says, apology accepted. Not-Doc says, speaking of Kiki, he was talking with the other doctors, and they want to put a brick for her in the memorial courtyard. The best place to pick a spot is from the roof. If Griff has a few minutes, his input would be appreciated. Griff says he has a few minutes.

Jason tells Spinelli, if Harmony went everywhere with Shiloh, why not there? If someone can answer all their questions, it’s her. He’s taking a ride to Beechers Corners to see what he can find out.

Sam thanks Shiloh for showing her around. If she has follow-up questions, don’t hesitate to call. No pressure. He hopes to see her on Valentine’s Day. He thinks it would be good for her. Kristina comes back, and Sam says she was just about to tell Shiloh that she’s going to attend their Valentine’s Day event. Shiloh says, wonderful news, and Kristina says, fantastic. Her face doesn’t look like it’s fantastic though.

Alexis knocks on her new doctor’s office door. He says, come in. Yep, it’s that guy. She says, of course it’s you.

Elizabeth tells Franco it might be hours; stop worrying. He says, what if the tumor is back? She says he’d know it, but he says, would he? What if he didn’t, and did horrible things in a blackout? She doesn’t believe that. He says he’d like to think he knows himself and he’s not capable of horrible violence, but he is capable of horrible violence. What if he’s wrong? What if the tumor is back and calling the shots? She knows it’s a nightmare, and it’s hard to have faith in himself, but she has enough for both of them. She loves him. They kiss. Which again, the officer ignores.

Jordan says Franco was accused of murder, but never prosecuted because he had no capacity. Franco considered killing performance art. It was simultaneously art and a challenge to law enforcement. Margaux says, the murders fit his pattern. How the corpses were found staged screams artistic. Why is Jordan still unsure? Jordan says, it’s too neat; too easy. She’s mad at herself for not seeing it sooner. She’d feel better if she could find something iron clad. If they’re wrong, the real killer is still out there.

Ava goes to Doc’s office, but not-Doc isn’t there.

Griff and not-Doc go out onto the roof. Not-Doc points out the vantage point for the view of the memorial courtyard. As Griff looks, he takes a syringe out of his sleeve.

Next time, Jason meets Harmony, Sam says Shiloh is about to get a taste fo his own medicine, and Ava tells not-Doc that she knows what he’s been up to.

🔥 I missed the very beginning, but Mia (rookie) and Ariel (veteran) were the two finalists on Hell’s Kitchen. As usual, the former contestants returned to back the finalists up for the big dinner. Both Mia and Ariel’s families were VIP guests, as well as Marcia Clark, and some comedian I’ve never heard of. Gordon was so wired, he even told maître’d Jean-Philippe to piss off. We took a trip down the two chefs’ Memory Lanes, while Gordon pondered his decision. When called into his office, Gordon told Mia that she’d been strong in the challenges, and a creative chef. Ariel was praised for never having been up for elimination. He said they were both winners in his eyes. Although, what else is he going to say? In the end, it was Ariel’s door handle that turned, and she was on her way to becoming the executive chef at Hell’s Kitchen at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Not too shabby, considering the salary is a quarter of a million bucks. Gordon said she was fiercely talented and a real leader. I have to agree; she was excellent at taking charge. Mia said it wasn’t the end for her; just the beginning. I did have to wonder how you could possibly go up from there, but she can certainly get a job anywhere she likes. Ariel said she didn’t just make it out alive, but made it out a winner.

General Hospital

Yep, missed it. Why break a streak?

Anna can’t see anything. Peter helps her up, and out of the bistro.

At the hospital, Obrecht says good evening to Finn. He says they used to have security; who let her in? She says, all the charges have been dropped. She’s free to go where she chooses, and she chooses to be there. He asks what she wants, and she says she’s there to speak to HR. He asks if her license wasn’t revoked, and she says she didn’t realize he had control over who was hired. He says there’s no place for someone like her there.

Valentin gives Nina a gorgeous bouquet. She says the flowers are beautiful, but unnecessary. He wants to thank her for giving him a second chance. She says, seriously? It’s more like the ninth. He’s grateful, and says he’d be happy if she indulges him while he showers her with gifts. She says he already gave her the greatest gift. He brought her daughter back into her life.

In the chapel, Sonny tells Griff it’s been a tough few weeks. It was a senseless tragedy. Kiki was part of the family. Griff wants to stop him now. He’s heard so many different versions of the same conversation. He knows they’re well-intended, but it doesn’t help. He tells Sonny, please save his sorrow and remorse. The stories only make him mad. Mad that somebody took Kiki’s life, and took her from them. Maybe he doesn’t have the right to anger and grief, but those are his only two options. Sonny says Griff can only feel how he feels; empty and pointless. He gets it. When Morgan died, Sonny went to dark places, and Griff helped him with his faith. Griff is glad his words brought Sonny comfort, but for him, there is none. His words were a lie. Faith is an illusion.

Franco asks Ava what she’s doing out there alone at night. It’s a bad idea. Ava says she can take care of herself. He’s sure she can, but he’s hanging out, just in case. She says, that’s sweet, but unnecessary. She asks what he’s doing there, and he says he’s on his way to the studio. What about her? She says it’s none of his business; carry on. He says now he’s really not going. Not until she tells him what’s going on. She says he’s going to ruin everything, and he tells her, talk fast. She says, Kiki’s killer is still out there. She’s making herself a target he can’t resist, and when he finds her, he’ll wish the cops got to him first.

Not-Doc takes out a locked box. He looks inside, and smiles, seeing the driver’s licenses of his victims. He says, sleep tight, and puts the box back. If he had a moustache, he’d be twirling it.

Nina tells Valentin that she didn’t think it was possible. If not for him, Madeline would have carried the secret to her grave. Because of him, she found out her daughter was alive, and came to know this incredible, smart, beautiful woman. He filled the hole in her heart. She loves him so much. He showed her it’s safe to love him, and made her trust him again.

Obrecht says Finn is quick to judge, but her moral actions don’t concern him. He says, they concern Monica. When Monica sees her, she’ll remember the things Obrecht did to the people in the hospital. What goes around, comes around. Obrecht says, upon further consideration, she’s too good for GH. She’s going to Mercy, where they can use her help and appreciate her talents.

Drew brings Kim coffee, and I wonder if they’ll ever actually put something in those cups or at least pretend better. Kim says she’s being ridiculous and selfish, but Drew tells her to give herself a break. She tells him, bringing life into the world is the best part of her job, and one of the reasons she became an OB. When she hands a precious new life to parents, and sees the wonder, the hopes and dreams they have for their babies, their joy fills her with joy. But today, all she felt was resentment toward the new mother and all her hope for her son’s future. She has none left for hers. Drew says it’s understandable, but remember, they still have time. Kim says she’s clung to hope for so long; false hope, and she’s running out of it. The first thing they learn in med school is that they will lose patients, even with new treatments and skills, there are limitations, and they all fail at some point. That’s where Oscar is. Medicine failed him.

Sonny tells Griff that he questioned God. Why did it happen to someone so young and full of promise? His faith was shaken. Griff says his faith isn’t shaken; it’s broken. He devoted his entire life to the church. He looks at a medal he’s wearing, and says, St. Aloysius. He experienced a profound spiritual awakening at age seven, and died at twenty-three from the Plague. Griff wanted be like him since he was a boy. He laughs, says, a saint, and rips the medal off. He says, it’s just jewelry. There’s no magic. Bad things happen to good people. Kiki was stabbed. What sense can he make of that? Why is he here? He doesn’t know. Maybe he’s hoping to feel something that proves he’s wrong; that what he believed isn’t a lie. Sonny says there’s no denying he’s sinned more than most, but he thinks there’s something bigger out there. Something listening to them; working through them. He’s there praying for a sixteen-year-old boy who’s been terminally diagnosed. It might not help, but has to do the best he can. He believes in his heart that Kiki would understand. Griff says people tell him what Kiki would want or do. He doesn’t even know, so how do they? I hate to put a damper on his supposition, but they probably knew her a lot better than he did. He’d just started dating her. He says he dedicated his entire life to healing. If Oscar gets a miracle, it’s because of science, not faith. He’s finally clear on that. He says there’s someone he can still help, and leaves. Sonny looks at the medal on the floor.

Franco says Ava is using herself as bait, and ambushing the killer? She says, it’s better than waiting around for them to claim another victim. Franco says it’s not going to work, but she says he’s just trying to get her to change her mind. He says he can think like Kiki’s killer because he used to think like a killer. She’s not a desirable target. Ava is like, thanks, but he says she’s known to be lethal. At best, she’s not worth the risk, and at worst, she’s a kindred spirit. Not-Doc walks onto the scene.

Peter brings Anna in to the hospital. She tells Finn that she can’t see.

Sonny sees Drew and Kim. He’s sorry to interrupt. Drew asks, what’s up? Sonny says he was there getting medicine for his father, and Carly told him Oscar’s treatment didn’t go as well as it should. Drew says, it didn’t, and Sonny tells Drew that his resources are at Drew’s disposal. He has a jet, and connections. Anything they need.

Not-Doc asks what Ava and Franco are doing. Franco tells him Ava is using herself as bait to catch Kiki’s killer. Not-Doc says, I see. Franco is like, what? and not-Doc says he’s not saying it’s not incredibly risky, but however Ava deals with her grief is her own business. Franco says, she’s wandering around on the docks late at night with a gun. And why is not-Doc ghosting him? Franco has been calling for an appointment, and his calls aren’t being returned. Not-Doc says, the time has come for them to stop working together.

Griff comes into the examining room, and asks Anna, what’s going on? Finn says, she can’t see, and Anna asks if it has something to do with her illness. Griff says that’s doubtful, and asks, what happened? Peter says they were having coffee when Anna got a headache. He was going to take her to the doctor, and she collapsed. When she regained consciousness, she couldn’t see. Griff asks her to describe the headache. She says, it was horrible. It came out of nowhere; a searing pain in her temple. She knew she had to see a doctor. She fainted, and when she stood up and opened her eyes, she couldn’t see anything. Griff says the fainting could be a result of her phlebotomy treatment. She asks, what about the loss of vision? He tells her that he can’t say, but he’ll figure it out. They’ll run some tests, and find out what’s going on. Anna asks why would this happen? and Griff says, hang in there. Finn says he’ll be right back, and Anna asks if Peter is still there. He is, and she thanks him. He says he did what anyone would have done, but she says he’s not anyone to her. She’s not a random stranger; it’s a complicated relationship. He says, that’s one way to put it. She says he could have left, but he didn’t. She thanks him, but says she’s not reading into it. Peter suggests she focus on herself right now. He takes her hand, and she says she’s grateful he’s there. He’s glad he could help.

Valentin kisses Nina’s hand. He wants to prove himself worthy of her love, but he’s not her knight in shining armor. Obrecht walks in, saying, on that, they can agree. She hopes she’s not interrupting. Valentin says she is. She’d like to speak to Nina alone, but Valentin says whatever she has to say, she can say in his presence. She knows he’d prefer that, and Nina asks, what’s going on? She saw them with their heads together the other day. Since they have no secrets, tell her what’s going on. Obrecht says, no secrets? In that case, does he want to tell Nina what they’ve been keeping from her, or should she?

Sonny says he has access to medicine that’s restricted in this country, and his jet is ready. Drew appreciates it, but knows there’s no miracle drug. Kim says she checked everything from here to Singapore, and checked every trial. Drew says there’s nothing they wouldn’t do to save Oscar, but there’s nothing they can do.

Franco asks if not-Doc is dumping him as a client. Not-Doc says their work has plateaued. Maybe Franco has become too comfortable. In any event, they’re not progressing. He’d be better served by another therapist. Franco doesn’t think they’ve dealt with the trauma they uncovered, and now he’s being tossed aside like a bothersome one-night stand. Not-Doc thinks it’s best, and will give him a referral. Franco says the hell with him and his referral, and stomps off. Ava asks not-Doc if he’s sure he wants to do that. It seems like Franco needs him. Not-Doc says, trust him. It’s for the best.

Nina tells Obrecht to cough it up, and Obrecht asks if Valentin told Nina that he offered her a job at Cassadine industries. Valentin says he’s making inquiries; don’t rush him. Obrecht says the medical department isn’t hiring, but she appreciates him keeping her in mind. Nina doesn’t want her put in difficult position, but the sooner she finds work, the better for everyone. Obrecht asks for a private moment with her niece. When Valentin leaves the room, Nina asks what Obrecht can’t tell her in front of him.

A nurse comes with wheelchair to take Anna for her tests. Peter helps her into the chair. He asks if he should stick around, but she says she knows he’s busy, and tells him to go. The nurse wheels her out.

Griff looks at Anna’s chart. Finn needs to talk to him. Griff asks what’s on his mind. Finn says, Griff’s mind. Is he okay? Is his head in the game? He just lost someone close to him, and no disrespect, Finn wonders if he should get another specialist. Griff says, none taken, and Finn is right. Kiki’s murder messed him up, but Anna is the closest thing to family he has, and he can help her. He needs to help her. Finn asks what he thinks is going on, and Griff says, it could be anything. They don’t know if it’s treatable or the blindness is permanent.

Sonny tells Drew he’s sorry. He hopes he’s not making it worse. Kim says they’re touched, and Sonny says, Oscar is one of the greats in his book. They’re both in his prayers. Drew thanks him for coming by. Sonny says he can’t imagine what they’re going through, but Drew says, clearly, he knows. Drew was there when he lost Morgan. He appreciates Sonny being there for them. Sonny says, anything he needs, just ask.

Finn tells Griff that Anna will want to know the odds. Griff says, until he knows what it is, he only has speculation. Finn asks if there’s a strong possibility she’ll see again, and Griff says, yes. There are many causes for sudden blindness. He says Finn is acting like he has no medical degree; he’s not acting like a doctor. Finn says someone he loves is the patient, and Griff’s bedside manner sucks. What happened to holding on to hope? Griff says, get someone else If that’s what he wants. Griff’s faith lies in data. He’ll have it shortly.

Peter meets with Valentin, and says he took Anna to the hospital. Valentin asks, what happened? but Peter doesn’t know. They were talking, Anna got a splitting headache, and fainted. When she regained consciousness, she couldn’t see. Valentin asks, who’s treating her? and Peter says, Griff, but he doesn’t know what caused it or if it’s permanent.

Nina thinks Obrecht wants to pitch her medical column for Crimson. She says it’s a great idea, but not the best approach for their readers. She knows Obrecht needs a job. Obrecht says her records have been expunged, but she has no medical license. And she has more pressing matters. Nina asks if she can vague that up more. Obrecht says Valentin has two sides. He can be witty and charming, but he can also be ruthless and amoral. The ends will always justify the means with him. Nina says no one is completely wrong or right. Valentin is capable of love and loyalty. He showed that with Nina’s daughter. She tried to end it for a long time, but he wouldn’t give up. She’s proceeding with caution. There’s been no long term, permanent commitment. She tells Obrecht she’s moved back into Windymere. Obrecht says she’s sleeping in his bed? Nina wants Obrecht to be happy for her. Valentin found her daughter; her family. She wants Obrecht to meet her. She looks exactly like Britt, and Nathan. Obrecht says that woman is nothing like her son.

Sonny tries to get Griff’s attention, but Griff says he’s sorry. He has a patient. Sonny holds the medal.

Finn asks Anna how the tests went, and she supposes all right. He tells her it’s okay to be scared; he won’t tell. Griff comes in with the test results, and takes her hand. He says she experienced some kind of hemorrhage, but she’s okay and stable. She asks about the blindness, and Griff says, there’s a laser treatment that often yields positive results. She asks what that means. He says he doesn’t know the cause, so he can’t be certain it will restore her vision.

Valentin thanks Peter, who tells him, don’t reach out. He doubts Anna wants to hear from him. Valentin says, she doesn’t like appear weak, and Peter says, because she thinks Valentin will double-cross her. He knows the feeling. Valentin says he’s not the enemy, but Peter says he’ll use anyone to get what he wants. He used Peter, pressuring him to drop the charges on Obrecht. Valentin says it worked out well for everyone, and Peter is in good with Maxie. Peter says Valentin was just covering his own ass. Enjoy it while it lasts. Obrecht will use whatever she has against him, sooner rather than later.

Nina asks what Obrecht has against Sasha. Obrecht says forget she said anything. Nina says she understands. She thinks Obrecht still has a lot of guilt, leaving Nathan with Madeline, and her relationship with Britt is non-existent. It’s different between Nina and her daughter. Obrecht says she’s mistaken. There’s something she needs to know about her daughter.

Franco argues with not-Doc’s assistant outside of his office. She says he can’t have access to the doctor’s records. He asks where Janet is, and the woman says Janet was fired, and the doctor hired her. She leaves, and Franco says, the hell with this. He uses his credit card to slip the lock on the door.

At the docks, Ava asks if not-Doc thinks she’s crazy, going after her daughter’s killer. He says, not at all, but he thinks it’s counterproductive. The killer feeds off the fear and dread of the community. He loves attention and notoriety. Her grief and frustration give him power. If she refuses to live her life, she plays into his hands. She says her daughter was killed. How is she supposed to focus on anything else? He thinks her staying there, surrounded by memories, knowing the killer is out there, wears on her. The two of them should leave town. She says she’s not in the mood for a vacation, but he says, not a vacation. Forever. He thinks they should leave Port Charles for good.

Franco spreads out Doc’s patient files, and flips through them. We see the locked box.

On Monday, Alexis asks Sam what’s going on in that house she should know about, Jason asks if Kristina has ever mentioned Shiloh, and Carly catches Franco in Doc’s office.

General Hospital

Yeah, yeah, I missed the beginning. Only up to the opening. I always think I’ll go back and watch it later, then it gets real later, and I don’t have a chance because of the pesky need for sleep. I had it on in the background, and the only important thing was that Laura joined Sonny in the chapel. Moving on.

Obrecht demands to be released and taken to her daughter. Finn says that’s not happening. Willow wonders if Chase wants to postpone their date, but he says he’ll take care of it. Finn tells him, get out while he can. Chase asks if things are under control, and Finn says, probably not, but they have Detective supercop Spencer there. Chase jets with Willow.

Nina tells Sasha it’s not a mistake. It’s quite the opposite. Her coming there was the ultimate gift. Sasha says, sorry she’s so shaky, but Nina says, don’t be. It’s been a draining day. Nina goes to get a drink, and Sasha and Valentin sit. Valentin knows things are difficult, and Sasha says, it was like an alternate universe. Going to the funeral for a sister who isn’t her sister. She can’t keep this up, not after putting Kiki to rest.

Sonny asks how Laura is. She says she’s been better. He’s surprised she didn’t come to the funeral with Doc. He knows there are issues, but in light of the circumstances… Laura says, rise above it and create a united front? Doc isn’t interested in that, and as a candidate for mayor, she thought her appearance might seem like she’s intruding on family grief. Sonny says it’s just his opinion, but he doesn’t think she’d ever intrude. She doesn’t think Ava would agree. Sonny asks why, and she says Ava is sleeping with her husband.

Carly knows Ava is hurting and wants to put it on her. She gets it, but the idea that it balances out Morgan – Ava interrupts, saying, Carly lost a child; so did she. Carly says she didn’t do anything to contribute to Kiki’s death, but Ava contributed to Morgan’s. Carly tells her, leave him out of it. Ava says she loved him too, and Carly keeps throwing it in her face, as if hers is the only grief that matters. She loved her daughter just as much as Carly loved her son. Maybe more. Carly suggests someone take Ava home. Not-Doc disagrees. This type of primal therapy can be the best way to get at anger and grief. Carly says she’ll go, but Ava says she’s not done.

Anna asks to be alone with the prisoner. Obrecht says, how dare Anna call her a prisoner? She’s a world renowned physician. Finn says she’s a world renowned something. Obrecht asks if he created the virus Britt has, and if he knows how to administer the cure. He says, nein. She demands to be taken to the hospital, but Anna says, there’s no rush. Unless she’s found a cure for the common cold. Finn says that would be a breakthrough, and Anna tells Obrecht that’s all Britt has.

Chase welcomes Willow to chez Chase. He’s going to light the candles, open the wine, and the shrimp scampi will be ready in no time. Willow is confused. He said he had to stop by to grab something. He says, surprise! He’s been taking an online cooking class, and with help from a meal prep service, he has a dish that will blow her mind. Willow says it’s their first date, and he thought it was appropriate to bring her back to his apartment? He says, it’s just dinner, and she says, no; it’s more than just dinner. She has no interest in being in his lair. She tells him, goodnight, and leaves. He wonders what just happened, and runs after her.

Valentin tells Sasha that he needs her to stay. She asks, why? it’s better for him if she leaves; less risk. He says, maybe, but things have changed since Kiki was killed. If she leaves, Nina will too. Sasha says, people are literally getting killed. She’s not going to be next because he’s missing his ex. Valentin tells her if not for him, do it for Nina. She’ll be devastated if Sasha leaves. Sasha says that was always the plan, but he says, plans change. Sasha says, it’s awful. She’s gotten to know Nina, and likes her. The last thing she wants to do is hurt her. Using soap timing, Nina appears, and asks what Sasha could do to hurt her.

Laura says, it’s an Interesting picture, isn’t it? and Sonny asks if Doc cheated on her. Laura says he claims he didn’t, but it doesn’t matter what she believes. She walked in on them kissing in the gallery. That’s all the information she needs. Sonny says he’s sorry, and shocked, and she says she is too. He says, maybe it’s a midlife crises, or he was caught in a moment of weakness. Laura says, he wants a divorce. He hand delivered the papers himself. Sonny asks if she still loves him, and she says she does. He says, then don’t give up. He and Carly divorced many times. Laura laughs, saying they have the record. He says they’re still standing. If they can do it, she and Doc can too.

Ava tells Julian to let her go. What more could Carly possibly do to her? Carly asks if she’s listening to herself. Me, my plan, my grief. It’s Kiki’s memorial, and she’s making it about her. Ava says she hasn’t been given the opportunity to mourn. Carly made her life miserable. Carly says, the sad, honest truth is, the only thing they can do to honor Kiki is make sure Ava doesn’t do the same thing to Avery. Ava lunges for Carly, and pushes her down, saying, Kiki was her daughter. Carly gets up and pushes back, saying, Morgan was her son.

Obrecht tells Finn and Anna, before she agreed to come, she tested the sample. It was Britt’s blood, and it was infected. Anna says, after Finn took the sample. Obrecht says, Finn did this? and he says, what goes around, comes around. Obrecht says, Britt isn’t really sick. Anna traded Obrecht’s fear for her daughter out of fear for her son. Her own daughter betrayed her.

Sasha tells Nina that she feel awkward, forcing Nina to move back to Windemere. Nina says Sasha isn’t forcing her to do anything. It’s not her first choice, but Sasha feels safe, and can forget her ordeal. Nina sees Willow come in. Valentin asks what’s up, and she says nothing she can’t fix.

Chase comes in behind Willow, and she says she can’t believe he turned on the siren. He says, it was an emergency. He just wanted to cook a nice meal, and show off his newly acquired culinary skills. She’s sorry she overreacted. He knows how it must have looked, and she says, a nice guy cooking her dinner? He says, since they’re at the bar, how about a drink? Willow gets a text from Nina. It says she hates to interrupt, but would Willow like to join them? Willow says she ordered wine, but might need something stronger.

Julian and Michael pull Ava and Carly apart. Carly says Ava is insane. The only solace in this, is that she won’t be able to torture Kiki anymore. Ava says, go to hell, and Carly says, you first.  Michael tells Carly, if Ava wants to trash Kiki’s memory, let her. She’s only hurting herself; let’s go. Ava tells not-Doc, she hates that woman. Not-Doc says, after 9/11, Queen Elizabeth said, grief is the price we pay for love. Consider the bill paid in full. Ava says he’s talking to her like Griff. Maybe he should think about joining the priesthood. He says he already found his true calling.

Laura thanks Sonny for the pep talk, but it takes two people to fight for a marriage. Although he and Carly broke up, they fought their way back to each other. Sonny asks if she doesn’t think Doc wants that, and she says he said so, several times. Sonny says, then he’s an idiot. He knows her well, and any man would be lucky to have her. If Doc doesn’t see that… Laura says when she looks at him, she doesn’t recognize him. When she looks into his eyes, it’s like a stranger looking back – or worse. Sonny asks what she means, but Carly blows in. He asks, what the hell happened? and she says, more like who. She’ll give him one guess. He says, Ava.

Anna tells Obrecht, from one mother to another, they need to stop the vicious cycle of retribution; it has to end. Obrecht snarks, says the woman locking her up. Anna says, Britt is free. She has the opportunity to start over. That was the deal. Obrecht asks if Britt even hesitated. Did any part of her want protect her mother? Anna says she’ll let Britt tell her. She wanted Anna to give her this before she left town. She gives Obrecht an envelope. Obrecht sits there looking at it, and Anna says she’s not reading it.

Willow comes over to Nina’s table, and Nina introduces her to Sasha. She tells Sasha that Willow is Charlotte’s teacher, and Sasha asks, isn’t Charlotte great? Willow says, she’s one of a kind. Nina thinks they had a productive conversation with Charlotte. Valentin says they talked to her about how one’s actions can deeply affect other people. Sasha asks if they’re sure she understood. It’s a hard concept for someone Charlotte’s age. Nina thinks Charlotte is an amazing girl, and not to be criticized. Willow says she doesn’t think that’s what’s happening, and Valentin say him neither. Nina says, Charlotte is a special girl, and should be recognized for that.

Willow sees several shot glasses lined up, and asks if Chase thinks she’s a boozehound. He tells her that she said something stronger, and he didn’t know her choice. She decides she’ll stick with wine. She says, if the meal is still salvageable, maybe they should head back to his place. She’s a sucker for shrimp scampi. She tells him, no sirens, and he says he’ll try to refrain.

Nina asks Sasha, what’s wrong? and Sasha says she’s leaving town.

Sonny tells Carly, leave it to Ava to turn Kiki’s funeral into a sideshow starring herself. Michael asks if Carly is sure she’s okay; he’s going to take off. Sonny says he knows it was a hard day, and he’s there if Michael wants to talk. Michael says he loves them, and leaves. Laura says, he’s a good son, and Carly says they lucked out. Sonny asks how it went down, and Carly says Ava homed in on her, saying Carly thinks this makes them even now, and should be happy. Sonny asks who was there, and she says, Michael, Julian, Franco, Ava, Griff, and Doc. Laura says Doc can’t be far from his new girlfriend. Carly says, what? and Sonny says, apparently, they’re a thing.

Julian tells Ava to focus on the real reason they’re here; paying their last respects to a brave, beautiful woman who inspired so much love. He says he’ll take her home, but Ava asks him not to be kind, understanding, or pity her. She tells them all to go. Julian asks her not to shut him out, but she says she knows what she needs, and right now, she needs be alone with her daughter. They all leave.

Ava says she’s so sorry, and cries. She puts her head down on the grave.

Anna says she’ll give Obrecht privacy. Obrecht opens the letter. It says, by the time she reads this, Britt will be on her way to a new life. She’s sorry she tricked Obrecht, but couldn’t see another way. She’s trying to be good, and stay on the straight and narrow. They’ll see how long it lasts. She loves Obrecht, and hopes she knows that, but if only one of them gets to be free, she’s choosing herself. Obrecht says she chooses Britt too. Anna comes back, and asks if she’s all right, but Obrecht says it’s between her and Britt. She wants her phone call. Finn says, nothing personal, but who does she have left to call? Anna says, Maxie is in Nina’s camp, and Nina is focused on her daughter. Obrecht is surprised, and anna says, she’s alive. The miscarriage didn’t happen, and there were two DNA tests to prove it. Obrecht wants her phone call now.

Sasha tells Nina, Kiki’s death was too much. She can’t be here. Nina asks if she doesn’t feel safe, even on the island. Sasha says a crazy woman drugged her, made it seem like she slept with her daughter’s boyfriend, and her daughter ends up dead. Nina asks where she’s going, and Sasha says she still has friends in Chappaqua. When she saves some money, she wants to travel. Nina says, maybe they can travel together. Sasha says, maybe, and Nina say she doesn’t want be pushy. She just wants Sasha to know she’s not getting rid of her, now or ever. They hug, and Sasha looks at Valentin.

Chase and Willow eat dinner, and Willow says it’s really good. Chase says she seems surprised. He cuts his finger while slicing off a piece of bread. She laughs, saying she’s paranoid about the killer, but he lacks the necessary knife skills. She gets a bandage out of her purse and hands it to him. He asks her to help a guy out; it’s hard with one hand. She puts the bandage on his finger.

Carly says, Doc wants a divorce to be with Ava. Laura says he insists the two aren’t related. It’s a rather cold departure from who is and what he stands for. She believes him, but can’t help worrying that something is off. It started from the moment she got back. The only thing that’s different is the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Ryan Chamberlain murders. Carly didn’t consider the affect it might have on him. Laura says, twenty-five years later, Ryan claims another victim – his brother.

Ave is glad Kiki can’t see her mess. She’s a mess, and she made a mess. Carly is right about one thing. Today was about Kiki, and she turned it into a circus. If she could trade places with Kiki, she would, in an instant. Not-Doc watches, as Ava messes with the dirt. She says, but she can’t. What she can do, is find the bastard who did this. That she will do. She promises Kiki that she’ll hunt them down and make them pay. She knows Kiki couldn’t count on her for a lot, but she can count on her for that. She cries, and not-Doc approaches.

Finn asks Anna who she thinks Obrecht is calling. Anna says, don’t know, don’t care. He asks if he can take her home, but she feels like she should check on Griff. Finn says, tomorrow might be better. He’s been where Griff is. Everyone is there on day one, and the next morning, you’re all alone. Anna is sure he’s right, and he says he’s always right. She says, no, and he suggests they agree to disagree. He remembers her mentioning something about being in love with him on the flight to Havana. Anna thinks he said first. Finn says they agree the words were said, and Anna says, they did nothing to commemorate it. She thinks they can fix that, and he says he’ll race her there.

Nina says she’ll miss Sasha. Sasha says at least they least she knows she accomplished one thing while she was here. She brought Nina and Valentin closer. He steps away to take a call. It’s Obrecht, who says they have much to discuss.

Willow thanks Chase for dinner. He’s glad she decided to come back to his lair. Willow says, it didn’t turn out too bad, and Chase says, considering how it started. Willow says she’s just keeping him on his toes. She says she should go, since there’s school tomorrow, and he says he’ll walk her home. He helps her on with her coat, and blows out the candles.

Michael sits at the MetroCourt bar. Franco comes in, and says he knows there’s no love lost between them, and there never will be, but Michael was special to Kiki. He was a hugely important part of her life. He thanks Michael for bringing her so much happiness. Michael says he may not have agreed with her, but believed she saw the best in him. He hopes Franco lives up to it. Franco does too.

Carly tells Laura, whatever is causing this with Doc, he’s going to 100% regret it. Sonny says, especially if it means losing her. Laura says they’re good for her ego, but she’s heading home. She leaves, and Sonny says, sorry about Ava. Carly says she’s survived worse. Sonny was thinking about ways to honor Kiki, and Carly says, give Avery the best life possible, and not let Ava do to her what she did to Kiki. Sonny says they’ll give her the life her sister would have wanted for her.

Laura calls someone, saying she hopes it’s not too late. She’d like to move forward with the terms of her divorce.

Ava asks how long not-Doc has been standing there, and he tells her that she’s wrong. She’s not a terrible mother. She gave her heart and soul; her all. The good and bad, the beautiful and ugly, the generous and selfish. Anything else would be a lie. Ava says, maybe she did, but he couldn’t save Kiki. Not-Doc asks, how? She’s not a mind reader. As difficult as it is to accept things beyond our control, it’s just life. She says, life is a travesty; a bitter, pointless joke. Not-Doc says, sometimes it is. Other times, it’s so glorious and radiant, you practically have to shield your eyes. She gets up, and asks him why he didn’t go. He says because she needs him. She says she never needed anybody. He says he’s here for her, and won’t go unless she tells him to get lost. She says, don’t get lost, and he says he won’t. He leads her out of the cemetery.

Tomorrow, Griff asks Finn if this is payback; Obrecht tells Valentin if he doesn’t spring her, he can say goodbye to Nina; and Carly asks what the hell is wrong with not-Doc

Below Deck

Man overboard. Ashton has gotten his foot caught in a line, and goes over the side of the boat. Rhylee radios the captain. Ashton gets pulled out into the water, away from the boat. His head pops up. Captain Lee tells them to get his ass out of water and on board. He’s okay, and the tender is sent out to him. The guests get an extra adrenaline rush that’s not on a jet ski. Ashton says he’s never been in that situation. As he was putting out the tow line, he stepped on it, and it wrapped around his ankle, pulling him off the boat. Rhylee says, thank god for Brent, the camera guy. He jumped in the water, and did what he needed to do. Ashton owes Brent his life. The whole thing is pretty intense.

The tender follows the Seanna to anchorage. Captain Lee asks what happened, but Ross isn’t sure. The captain says, it was a stupid move, and scared f**k out of him. Ross apologizes. In his interview, the captain says Ashton was thirty seconds away from dying. He doesn’t know how he’d feel, having to call Ashton’s parents to tell them that their son was dead, and he’s responsible. He has kids, and doesn’t know how he’d make that call. He needs a minute.

The guests talk about the accident. One of them says, when you’re gasping for breath, it seems like forever. In Kate’s interview, she says they don’t want people to know how dangerous the job is. That would be scary, but this was a reminder. Calling the tender, the captain asks Ashton if he’s okay physically. Ashton says his ankle is swelling. The captain says they’ll get him on board asap, and he’s already made a call to the doctor. In his interview, Captain Lee says it’s not a pleasant situation, but he can’t pick Ashton up in open water. In Ross’s interview, he says he can’t wait to see Ashton, and give him a hug, but at the same time, wants to slap him for stepping on the line.

We get a break, and look at the beauty of Tahiti.

Lunch is prepared. Aiden says, the show must go on. Their job is distracting the guests from what went on, and it starts with lunch. He makes steak and shrimp, but fancier. It looks amazing. The captain drops anchor, and Ashton boards. Ross hugs him, and tells him not to do that to him again. It’s time for the jet skis. For the guests, not Ashton.

Ashton limps to his cabin. Aiden asks if he wants company. In his interview, Ashton says he should never have been on the water side of the line. He knows that, and was trained not to do it. When he hit the water, he was fighting to get his head up, and get air. It was the most intense force he’s ever felt around his ankle. He mentally prepared himself for his foot to be ripped off. If someone hadn’t gotten to him in time, he would have bled out, but Brent got the lines off just in time. The captain stops by, and says he thought it would be worse. Ashton says, it was stupid, but the captain would rather focus on how lucky they were that someone got to him in time. He tells Ashton to elevate his ankle. In Ashton’s interview, he says when he was on the tender, he was in tears some of the time, but at other times, he was calm. Laura asks if he’s okay, and Ashton says it was his fault. He shouldn’t have been on that side.

The guests get ready to use the jet skis. Kate tells Aiden, it’s been an emotional roller coaster. He says Laura is taking care of everything, but Kate doesn’t know if she’s helpful or annoying. Aiden says she was complaining about them cutting corners, but she doesn’t know what she’s doing well enough to be negative. In her interview, Kate says Laura has a lot of opinions. If she’s been a chief stew, she should put herself in Kate’s position, and not be hot from the start.

Josiah says he’s heard horror stories about yachting, but the main thing is to make sure Ashton is okay. They need to look after him until he’s better. Kate says she’s never had a crew member almost die in front of the guests before. The tender brings the doctor to the boat. Ashton explains what happened. She asks him to try and walk on it, and says it’s not broken, but the pain is going to increase. In Ashton’s interview, he says it’s a massive relief, but he’s concerned about the pain.

Ross tells Ashton to rest up; he’ll pick up Ashton’s slack. Ashton jokes that Ross will see how much he actually does. Kate radios Laura. In her interview, Laura says she may or may not have shot herself in the foot. She forgot how mundane the job of third stew is. Although it doesn’t matter on this yacht; the bar is set kind of low. This one is a real jerk. Better than Caroline, but still a jerk.

Aiden says they had a rough start, so for dinner, he’s making chicken breast; comfort food. He loves surprising people by deconstructing everyday things, and giving them a new perspective. The guests get all weird about having chicken, even though the dish looks just as fabulous as always. They agree it’s done well, but it’s still chicken. One of them says that’s what poor people eat. Josiah asks if everything is okay, and a guest says, none of them put chicken on their preference sheet. He asks if they want something else, and she says she wants seafood. In her interview, Kate says the dish looks amazing. She thinks maybe he should have added shrimp with it, but they don’t have to act like a-holes. Josiah tells Adrian, and he makes scallops. In Adrian’s interview, he says even in the fanciest restaurants, they serve chicken. If they don’t want it, they should put it on the preference sheet. One of the guests says, chicken is not acceptable, and they keep repeating how they didn’t put that they wanted it on their preference sheets. They didn’t put lamb on their either, but they ate that just fine. Kate serves the scallops, saying Adrian made extra, everyone wins. A guest says he should have made scallops first. Here’s where I would get fired and go to jail, because I would punch them.

In his interview, Tyler says he started an agency, and crushed it, but the corporate world wasn’t for him. He lives off of adrenaline. Adrian getting pulled into the water wasn’t the kind of rush he was looking for though. Kate sees towels on the floor, and straightens up the cabins. In her interview, she says if Laura was a chief stew, and knows as much as she says she does, she’d know how to do turndowns. The guests go to bed, but a few of the ladies stay up drinking and dancing around under a disco ball.

Laura asks Aiden how service was, and he says the guests were super rude. He tells her that she forgot to do the turndown. She asks if Kate is mad, but he says, more like aggravated. In her interview, Laura says she doesn’t know what Kate’s deal is. She’s been working super hard, and would appreciate some positive feedback. Instead, she’s getting a mean girl thing. She gripes to Adrian that she has to do bitch work and clean up loose ends. Aiden says the third stew is supposed to do that and shut up about it. Some advice for her integration.

Laura asks if guest Carolyn wants to do yoga or Pilates, and then wakes up Kate to tell her that she’ll be doing Pilates with her.  Kate says there’s only one side of the bed, but it’s the wrong side she’s getting up on. Laura asks what happened with the turndowns, and tells Kate the only thing she didn’t do was the second bed. Kate explains that one guest wants water near their bed. Laura says that wasn’t relayed to her, and Kate tells her to ask. In Laura’s interview, she says she thought the vibe on the boat was not caring. Where is she getting this from? Captain Lee says no one goes past the second step, and shows Ross where the line should be. In his interview, the captain says, it’s Towing 101. This is simple. He tells Ross that no one has a reason to be down there for any reason. Ross feels good about it.

Laura sets up yoga with two guests. The anchor is secured. Captain Lee tells the deck crew to get the tender ready. Tyler tells Rhylee, ten minutes. She says she can’t do this life anymore. Adrian says when the guests act like drunken a-holes, it goes over his head. If the guests aren’t happy, it’s not his problem. Ross is paranoid about tow line now, and tells Rhylee to get away from it. Captain Lee radios to get their asses off the swim platform, and calls Ross to the wheelhouse. In the captain’s interview, he says Ashton was just swept off the deck, and they have to be told how effing stand. He asks Ross why Tyler is on the swim platform. He says it was Rhylee, and Captain Lee tells him to get her ass up there. He tells them the minute the stern line is released, they’re to get their asses off the swim platform. They can get the tender back, but not a life. He doesn’t want a replay.

Laura ends the yoga class with, namaste, and breakfast is served. Ross asks Rhylee why she wasn’t listening, and she tells him not to wake her up at the last minute. Ross starts talking over her, saying he told her to get away from the line, and she asks him to give her a second respond. He tells her, listen up, and she says it’s Chandler all over again. In his interview, Ross says she should know better, and get the f**k away from the line; leave it. He suggests they move away from the guests.

Adrian brings Ashton breakfast, and Ashton says he’s a legend. Ross says he told Rhylee to get away, and she says he told her to get behind; there’s a difference. He says he doesn’t have to explain himself, but she says if he doesn’t, she’s the one who gets reamed. He starts to walk away, and she says walking away is a bullsh*t move. He tells her to use her brain when he instructs her to do something. She suggests he instruct more than ten minutes before they do it. Now she knows what he means. He says it’s his fault. She tells him that she does what he says, and if he means something else, she can’t read his mind. In his interview, Ross says he’s tired of fighting. Sometimes you have to let things go, but with Rhylee, he’s taking the easy way out. He tells her they’ll work it out.

Kate suggests Adrian grill on the swim platform. They drop anchor. Kate tells Ashton to radio if he needs anything. Adrian is making carrot cake for the birthday dinner. In her interview, Kate thinks it’s annoying when anyone celebrates a birthday, unless they’re a child. They set up, and Kate says birthday girl Janet wants leis; it was on her preference sheet. Josiah says they all have to lay her, like we didn’t fall off our dinosaurs when that joke was told the first time. Adrian thinks the cake looks like a nipple, and tells Laura that he was inspired by her. In Laura’s interview, she says, he’s the cutest guy ever, but definitely has only one thing on his mind.

The guests arrive at the beach club, and Janet thinks the décor is cute. Adrian sets up a buffet, and Janet says her taste buds are having a party. Laura does laundry. Ashton gets up, and peeks in. He tells her as soon as his foot heals, they’ll go on the dance floor. The guests toast to Janet. Kate says they have a birthday surprise, and reveal the cake. Janet says, oh wow, so I guess it’s good.

Tyler tells Rhylee that he was engaged, but she’s married with kids now. In his interview, he says he was engaged to his high school sweetheart, but she wanted him to go into construction, and he wanted to be a firefighter. Rhylee says she was engaged, but they both cheated. Tyler tells her that she has some good years left, and she says she can still snag somebody.

Laura asks Adrian what the guests want for dinner, but he says he doesn’t talk to the guests about it. In Adrian’s interview, he says these guests want the most expensive dishes they can get. Tonight, he’s making lobster and beef. He’s going to make them the best food ever until they realize it. The dinner is pronounced delicious and perfectly cooked. The guests turn in. Wow. These people are early to bed.

Laura asks Ashton how he’s doing, and he says, soldiering on. It’s frustrating not doing anything, so he’s doing what he can. Rhylee tells Tyler that everything is ready. In Tyler’s interview, he says he has skills, but motor yachts are in a different category. He doesn’t mind Rhylee showing him the ropes. He has a lot to learn – and she’s hot. Ashton comes out, and hugs Tyler. The anchor is up, and the tender is cut loose. Even I’m nervous now, and watching the lines. I don’t know wth Adrian made for breakfast, but I’m in. Some kind of wraps with salmon cream cheese, apple turnovers, and the eternal crispy bacon.

Anchor is dropped, and they dock. Captain Lee tells the crew to get ready for guest departure. Primary Brandy says they all agree it was a wonderful, once in a lifetime trip. Her hat is off to the crew for handling a scary experience better than she would have. When the guests are gone, the crew changes out of their whites, and the deck furniture is covered. It’s tip meeting time.

The captain says, not even an hour in, and they’re out a guy, meaning Ashton. Captain Lee thought everybody did a good job. The tip is $16K, or $1300 each. Ashton thanks everyone for looking after him. Since he didn’t do any work, he doesn’t feel he deserves a tip, and wants to split it among the crew. Captain Lee says, that’s not okay; it’s not the way they roll. Rhylee says he would have done a lot of work if he could have. The captain say he’ll be having a meeting shortly, and it will be sobering.

Clean up starts. Rhylee tells Tyler that he was spot on, jumping in and listening. Captain Lee calls everyone to the sky lounge, saying it’s time for a come-to-Jesus meeting. What they’re about to watch is sobering. He’s going to show the film from Ashton’s accident. He wants them to see the actual footage, so they realize the severity of the situation. They watch, and he points to Ashton underwater. He says, Rhylee made one call, and it’s barely audible. At that point, Ashton was being dragged by his foot, and she should have said it three times. He’s still moving a boat that’s five-hundred tons, with one that’s two and a half tons behind it. As soon as the tender drew tight, it would have severed Ashton’s foot, and he would have bled out. Then he would be calling Ashton’s parents to tell them that their son is dead. In his interview, Ashton is surprised it happened so quickly. He’s been given a second chance.

The captain says it’s hard to watch, but these were the mistakes they made, collectively. In his interview, Captain Lee says it’s hard to watch, and he needs a moment. He tells the group that they’re extremely lucky; Ashton, the luckiest of all. He tears up, saying he doesn’t want to lose a crew member like that; it’s not going to happen. He tells them, carry on. Everyone is choked up. In the captain’s interview, he says they averted a catastrophe by true luck. He wants them realize how fortunate they were. They need to care about themselves and their loved ones. In the end, it’s all they’ve got.

Later this season, fireworks, boob sweat, onesies, a top-notch chef, Josiah in gold lamé, Rhylee hooks up with Tyler, nasty guests, the boat goes sideways, Ross says enough’s enough with Rhylee, a guest falls off a jet ski, Laura tells Kate to check herself, and Kate wants Laura fired or she’ll quit.

General Hospital

Julian tells Ava it’s time, but she says she can’t. She can’t let Kiki go.

Not-Doc sees Jordan at the church. He didn’t realize she was close to Kiki, but she says she’s here for her son who was. It’s also a gesture of respect; Kiki stood up for her beliefs. She also thinks, given the nature of the murder, the killer might come out to enjoy the results of their handiwork.

Sunflowers are everywhere, and Nina tells Franco that it’s beautiful. He says it doesn’t compare to the beauty Kiki brought to world. She says it’s a testament to Kiki, but he wishes he could give Kiki her life back.

Drew tells Margaux that he has no time for games. She says she’s offering his life back; his true self. Just take it. He says, you don’t get something for nothing, and asks exactly what she’s offering. She tells him that his memories are on there; just take it. He wants more than his past. Oscar’s future is looking bleak. Unless she has a cure for cancer in her back pocket, back off.

Jason visits Oscar. He says Alexis talked to him about Oscar’s will. He’s honored, but he can’t do it.

Marcus tells Sonny and Carly that he knows it’s not polite to just show up, but he doesn’t want to mince words. He wants Sonny to keep his father away from Yvonne. He hope he can make them both understand that his father is endangering his wife’s health.

Alexis sees Griff at the church. He says he shouldn’t be here, but Alexis says she saw the way Kiki looked when she talked about him. He made her happy. He says none of them should be there. It shouldn’t have happened. How can she be gone?

Julian tells Ava that she needs to get ready. He knows she doesn’t want to, but thinks she’ll regret not going to the service. She says if she steps into the church, it will be real. Her daughter in a box, and every dream buried with her, and nothing left for Ava. There’s a knock at the door, but Ava says the only person she wants to see is her daughter. Julian answers, and it’s Michael with Avery, who runs to Ava. She’s in high school now. Just kidding.

Michael says Avery needs to know what happened, and they thought Ava should be the one tell her. Julian says he’ll call Scotty, and tell him that they’re delayed. Avery asks where Kiki is. Michael says Avery must have heard Sonny talking, and thought she was coming to see both of them. Avery asks if Kiki will be there soon. Ava says Kiki loves Avery very much. Her favorite thing in the world is be with her, and if she could, she be would be there. Ava wishes she could be there too, but there was a terrible accident, and Kiki was hurt very badly. Avery asks if she’s okay, and Ava says, no. She was hurt so badly, no one was able to make her better, so she can’t be with them today. She can’t be with them anymore. Avery wants her, and Ava says she does too. She cries, and hugs Avery.

Oscar says, Jason doesn’t want to executor? Jason says he understands Oscar is mad at his parents, but he doesn’t want to add to their pain. Oscar says he’s doing it for the same reason he brought the lawsuit; he wants to make his own choices. He needs to be ready if the medical trial doesn’t work. If he asks his parents, it will destroy them. Jason says it sounds like he doesn’t believe there’s much hope, and he’s expecting to die.

Margaux asks Drew to please believe she’s genuinely sorry his son is sick. He tells her, knock it off. She’s not giving him something unless she wants something back. Margaux asks if he really thinks she’s incapable of making a meaningful gesture. He says he wants nothing from her. She says everything he wants is on there. His entire past. Why is he afraid to take it?

Carly asks if she can get something for Marcus, but he says he’s on his way back to the facility; Yvonne is expecting him. Sonny understands that his time with his wife is precious. Marcus says he means no disrespect, but he and Yvonne have been married thirty years. They weren’t blessed with children, but their love made up for it. Despite what Sonny’s father believes, Yvonne is still his wife. Alzheimer’s didn’t invalidate their vows. Carly says, no one is suggesting otherwise, and Marcus says, except Mike.

Jordan tells not-Doc that she’s putting the pieces together, and would like his take on it. He says he’s concerned about the emotional well-being of the community, and she says she’ll be in touch.

Alexis hugs TJ and Molly. Jordan joins them, and asks how TJ is. He says, terrible. He can’t wrap his head around it. Who would want to kill Kiki? Jordan promises she’ll find out.

TJ asks Lulu when not-Doc became Ava’s go-to guy? Lulu says she thought he loved her mom, but she doesn’t even recognize him anymore.

Sasha approaches Griff. She says she’s so sorry. They haven’t really spoken since the stunt Ava pulled. She’s sorry Ava used her to hurt them. Griff says Kiki had nothing but empathy for how Ava manipulated Sasha. She was looking forward to them becoming friends as well as sisters. Sasha says she would have liked getting know Kiki, and Griff says, it was impossible not to love her.

Elizabeth hugs Franco, and asks if she can do anything. Franco says she’s doing it now. She tells him to remember she’s here, and he’s not alone. He want to stay by the casket until everyone is there.

Ava thanks Avery for coming, and says she loves her very much. Michael tells Avery to go with Uncle Julian to wait outside. Ava thanks Michael for bringing her. Michael says Kiki would want them to put their differences aside to take care of Avery. He’s sorry for her loss. He leaves, and Ava looks in the mirror. Julian comes back. He says he’s sorry she has to go through this. Ava tells him that she knows what she needs to do.

Drew tells Margaux that he’s at peace with how things are; he’s not chasing the past. Margaux says his past is right there. What he does with it is up to him. She has the feeling one day he’ll want to know. Now he knows where they are. She gives him the flashdrive and walks away.

Oscar tells Jason that he wants to live, but needs someone to talk to in case he doesn’t. Someone who won’t fall apart. He knows Jason will be honest. Jason asks Oscar to tell him what it is he wants, and he’ll see if he can do it.

Molly tells Alexis, it feels wrong; Kiki taken like that. It’s unfair. Alexis always taught them to fight for injustice, but there’s nothing she can do. She hates feeling useless. Alexis does too.

Scotty says not-Doc has been busy, and asks if the PCPD gave him a badge now that he’s a detective. Not-Doc says he’s been asked to assist. Jordan feels with his expertise, he might have insight into the mind of the killer. He says, she’s right. He does know how they think.

Oscar tells Jason that he hasn’t been a Quartermaine for long, but he was automatically given stock in ELQ. If he dies, he wants to family tradition, and establish something for kids who are sick. Those are all the assets he has. As for the personal stuff, he wants to pick out a few things for the people closest to him, and have his mom get rid of everything else. Jason will have to help her with that. He doesn’t want his room turned into a shrine. Jason says Oscar is responsible for his own choices, like the stock, but shouldn’t his mom grieve the way she wants? Oscar says he doesn’t want to die, but if he does, his parents will need serious help in picking up the pieces. Will he do it? Jason agrees to honor Oscar’s wishes on one condition. When he beats this, he gets Alexis to draw up a new will with a new executor. Oscar says, deal, and they shake.

Sonny tells Marcus that he thinks they’re getting ahead of themselves. Mike and Yvonne just enjoy playing cards. His father is dealing with a lot, worrying about the memories he’s lost, and grieving the ones he’s missing. Is it so wrong for him to spend two hours a day not thinking like that? Carly says Yvonne and Mike are good company for each other; there’s no harm in that. Marcus hopes she’s right. He leaves, and Sonny says, it gets hard; struggling to hold onto love that is being forgotten. Carly thinks Mike and Yvonne’s friendship is a good thing, but wonders if Mike thinks she’s more than a friend. Sonny says it’s not like they can be alone. Mike lights up when sees Yvonne. He doesn’t know if it’s him being selfish, or if it’s Kiki’s death weighing on him, but he’s so grateful that his dad can have one bit of happiness, no matter how he finds it.

TJ tells Lulu that the med students and nurses set up a GoFundMe for a sexual harassment curriculum for med students. Lulu thinks Kiki would love it, and would like to do a follow-up story in Kiki’s honor. Epiphany says Kiki was a member of the GH family.

Sasha thinks she’s intruding, but Nina says she was Kiki’s sister. She missed a lifetime of knowing her. Sasha says Kiki was good to her in the short time they knew each other. Nina tells her to stay. The stories might make her feel like she knows Kiki better. Nina also likes having her daughter by her side.

Elizabeth approaches Griff. He says, Kiki deserved more. Elizabeth says, not long ago, Kiki told her how hopeful she was about the two of them. Griff made her really happy. Griff says she was beautiful and full of life. If only he didn’t leave that day. Elizabeth tells him, don’t do that. Kiki didn’t die because he wasn’t there, but because some sick person chose take her. Speaking of which, not-Doc walks in.

Ava enters with Julian. Not-Doc tells her that he’ll always be there if she needs him. She doesn’t know if she can do this, and he tells her to lean on him. They sit.

Drew sees Jason at the hospital, and says, funny running into him. He says, Jason might as well see it, and shows him the flashdrive. Jason asks if it’s Andre’s, and Drew says Margaux had it. She found it, and decided to give it to him. Jason says she was holding it the whole time, and Drew says she was using it as leverage. She wanted to get Jason through his memories, but he didn’t do it, and she gave it to him out of the goodness of her heart. Jason says, if she was the bigger person, she would have given it to him when she found it. Drew says, the question is, what to do with it now.

The pastor tells everyone to be seated. He says they’re her to celebrate Kiki’s life, and thinks it’s appropriate that she be memorialized by someone who knew her best. He calls Franco to come up. Franco says family isn’t just who you’re related to. You can choose family, and he and Kiki chose one another. He wasn’t her biological father. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but Kiki didn’t care. She continued to choose him, and insisted he remain a father figure in her life. He loved Kiki very much. He’s certain she had no idea how much. Maybe that’s the lesson. They all take things for granted. You think you’ll tell someone you love them next time. Kiki didn’t do that. She had a voice and spoke her truth, and he believes she drew people together. Who but Kiki could get a group of misfits like them to get together. She’s smile and be proud. She’d be grateful they put aside their differences, and for just one moment, grow a little kinder. He says, Kiki loved sunflowers, and it’s fitting. They’re resilient seekers, coming up out of cracks; anything to turn their face to the sun. Kiki wasn’t perfect, but she was resilient. She hated lies and hypocrisy, and took on Dr. Bensch and won. She had a wicked sense of humor, but couldn’t tell a joke to save her life. She put ketchup on her eggs, which from a culinary standpoint, is just wrong, but she wouldn’t listen to him. She was stubborn, and never once gave up on him. He starts to cry, and says, not just him; all of them. He’s a better person because of her. They’re all better, because she was the best.

Griff gets up. Ava asks not-Doc, how dare he? Stop him, but he just puts his arm around her. Griff says it’s a good thing it’s not a Catholic service, since he was stripped of the privilege to administer the sacraments. Kiki was furious, asking how dare they take his faith away. He promised her that he’d never lose it, but that was when he lived in a world with Kiki. Now he doesn’t know if he can have faith in a world without her. He wants to honor her, but his soul is empty, and he can’t find the words. He can say that she loved them all very much. Epiphany sings (Live On?), and we see everyone’s bummed out faces.

Drew tells Jason, assuming it’s real, he doesn’t know what to do with the flashdrive. Jason says it’s his decision. Drew says he doesn’t want Jason’s memories, but can’t risk losing the ones that aren’t his; his kids and his son. Jason says, no one knows what’s going to happen with Oscar, but Drew has the flashdrive now. Maybe one day he’ll use it without losing anything.

At the chapel, Carly tells Sonny that she’s going to visit Morgan. Sonny is going to stay, and she asks him to say a prayer for her.

Ava stands at Kiki’s grave. She tells the others that she knows what they’re thinking. How could she produce a daughter so kind and good? Franco says, no one is thinking that, but she says, don’t lie to her. She can see it on their faces. She didn’t deserve Kiki, and they think she wanted Kiki to die. Say it.

Alexis asks if Molly and TJ want to stay with her, but Molly says with TJ’s schedule so busy, their apartment is closer to the hospital and the campus. TJ suggests they come by for dinner tomorrow. Alexis like the idea, and tells them that she loves them both. They leave, and Alexis hugs Epiphany. Jason asks if Alexis is okay. She says, tough day. He tells her that he agreed be Oscar’s executor. She says it must be comforting to Oscar, but hopes he doesn’t have to step up. Burying a child is hell.

Drew looks at the flashdrive while he sits at Oscar’s bedside.

Sonny lights a candle. He says, please, God, grant Kiki easy passage, give peace to Morgan, and grant them comfort knowing they’re together. Every time he thinks of Morgan’s death or the senseless crime of Kiki’s passing, or his father reaching for his last bits of life that are leaving him, his faith falls short. Help him to trust God’s mercy. Grant him the grace to believe again.

Margaux tells Jordan that no one was lurking. Jordan can’t see any of them committing such a vicious murder. Margaux says unless she doesn’t know them as well as she thinks, and the killer is among them.

Ava says Franco was so eloquent. He has no words for her? Not one of them has the courage to say what they’re actually thinking. She knows they blame her for Kiki’s death. Admit it. In their heart of hearts, they think it was what Ava deserved. Julian says, no one blames her; please stop. She says, only him. Seeing Carly standing there, she says, right Carly?

Tomorrow, Obrecht wants to go to GH immediately, Ava says she paid for Morgan’s death with her daughter’s blood, and not-Doc thinks he’s found his true calling. (Murderer?)

Vanderpump Rules

Jax and Brittany are officially engaged. The party waits. Stassi says, impromptu engagement parties don’t just happen. She, Tom, and Schwartz took care of the necessities, and Stassi had to take everyone to a bar, then redirect them back to the apartment after the announcement. She also had to make sure there were likes and comments on the ring photo. And accommodate their VIP guest, LVP – and Giggy!

The happy couple arrives. Brittany is shocked that Lisa is in her apartment. Lisa thinks Jax has changed, and he’s honest and sincere. However, he’s still Jax, so she might want to get the ring checked out. Champagne flows. Lisa urges Schwartz to hurry up on the cocktails for TomTom.

Brittany yells she’s engaged from the terrace. How long before she’s yelling, I want a divorce, and considering a jump from the same terrace?

Meanwhile at SUR, James DJs. Billie, totally blonde now, tells him Jax proposed to Brittany. He says, old man Jax is getting married. He thinks Jax will be a great first husband for Brittany.

Jax says this is a pre-engagement arty, and wants to have a bigger one. In his interview, he says he used to be close to his mom. Everyone loves her, but they haven’t communicated since his father passed. Their marriage was on the rocks, and she was going to leave before he was diagnosed. She was cagey about what was going on. Jax understands it was to protect him and his sister, but wishes he could have said goodbye to his dad.

Kristen tells Lala that James treats everyone like they’re disposable humans; it’s disgusting. Lala says he thinks he’s better than everyone else, and has to stop doing what he’s doing. She was over him, but then he purposely mortified Brittany. Kristin is tired of him getting away with doing things to people in her circle. He’s on her sh*t list. Brittany and Jax thank everyone for coming, and run upstairs. Katie thinks it’s time for everyone to go home.

Lala, Scheana, Tom, and Ariana go shopping for Pride. This year, it’s an 80s theme. Tom is looking for something reminiscent of the aerobics classes his mom went to. Jax and Brittan call. Jax thanks Tom, and Brittany says she loves them all. Tom asks how it feels waking up fiancés. Brittany puts her ring hand in front of her face, and says she walks around like that now.

In her interview, Lala thinks Jax’s dad was a wake-up call. She knows what it’s like to lose a father, and you don’t come back from that; it changes you. She doesn’t think any of them are being Jaxed. Tom thinks Jax is on a dad kick now, and emotional, but what about when it wears off? Ariana thinks it’s real, but she’s cautious. In Jax’s mind, he’s changed, but it remains to be seen if he’s capable of a lifetime commitment. She feels tepid about it.

Kristen’s dog, Gibson, humps a toy, and Kristen says he’s just like his dad. In Stassi’s interview, she ays she and Kristen are maturing. They don’t need to go to bars in the middle of day any more. They drink at home. She tells Kristen there’s been a shift in Jax. Kristen says he treats all of them differently now. They discuss James, and Kristen says she’s coming after him like a MF.

Ariana says she and Tom are going to James and Raquel’s for dinner. Lala say when she and Randall were at Coachella, James was taunting her dude. He told Randall, lighten up. We all know each other inside and out, if you know what I mean. In her interview, Lala says James is coming after people who she loves and cares about. She has to draw the line. Fool her once, shame on you; fool her twice, shame on her; but fool her three times, he’s dead to her.

Kristen tells Stassi, James has done terrible things to too many people. One by one, they’re coming out of the woodwork. She met with Hope, who told her that she, James, and Raquel all stayed at the same house when they went to Coachella. We see a clip of Hope telling Kristen that she and James hooked up while Raquel was sleeping. Kristen tells Stassi that Hope has been coming back and forth for years, and they’ve been banging the entire time. In the clip, Hope says James thinks he’s entitled to every girl. No one ever held him accountable. Kristen asks Hope to come to Pride with her. Kristen tells Stassi that she wants to speak for everyone he’s silenced, and she’s showing up with Hope at Pride. In her interview, Stassi says that the way Kristen talks is like a villain in a softcore porno. She’s going to take James down. Stassi calls Kristen a psycho, and says she loves her.

Jax visits Lisa, who congratulates him. She likes his car, and he says it was his dad’s car. In his interview, Jax says he and his father bonded over muscle cars and hockey. He was the most selfless and kind human being Jax has ever met. He asks Lisa how long her engagement was, and she says she’s not a good example; it was only three months. He tells her it meant a lot, her coming to the engagement party. Most of them have no family there, and consider her family. He has less family than before, so it means a lot. In Jax’s interview, he says his father left him a car and some money. He used a big chunk of the money for Brittany’s ring, and it’s running low. He asks is Lisa needs extra help at SUR. He was possibly hoping to get his job back. She asks if they haven’t they moved on from that, and says, professionalism is paramount. He knows he got into trouble, and she tells him not to minimize it. He’s also been confrontational with James. Jax says he’s fine with James, but Lisa thinks he’s not. She wouldn’t be either, but he’s not dealing with it at SUR. He says there’s nothing explosive going on. She asks what the upside would be in hiring him back. He says he hates to use his father’s death, but it was a wake-up call, and he’s made a transition. He asks her to let him prove it. He understands he’s on thin ice, but asks if she can find it in her heart to let him work for her again. In Lisa’s interview, she says Jax has a different energy; a vulnerability she hasn’t seen before. She tells him, Pride is tomorrow, and he can do the little bar in the garden. He appreciates it, and she says don’t let her down. He says he doesn’t want to let anybody down, and she says it will take more than one shift to prove he’s a good worker.

In James’s interview, he says he couldn’t be living a better life. He has a supermodel girlfriend, a puppy, a two-bedroom studio (um… which is it?), and he’s DJing. Life is good. Tom and Ariana arrive for dinner. Tom is impressed with the place, even more so when a washer and dryer is revealed. Ariana says the last time she used a washer and dryer that wasn’t coin operated, she was living with her parents. Tom asks, how’s living together? and Raquel says, great, for the most part. James asks what’s wrong with it, and Ariana says, it’s an adjustment for sure. James says when they have a tiff, they hug or kiss it out. Tom says he annoys the sh*t out of Ariana. The only thing he has to worry about is getting smothered to death in his sleep.

Tom asks James how everything is going with Jax. James feels badly; he didn’t know Brittany was in the building. Tom says that shouldn’t matter. He is literally being white Kanye. Kanye says effed up sh*t, apologizes, then does it again. James doesn’t want bad juju, and Tom suggests getting them an engagement gift. In his interview, James says Tom is like an older brother. Tom’s done stuff that people don’t normally come back from, but he came back. He asks Tom and Ariana if they feel obligated to get engaged now. Tom says he’s had the ring for four years, and Ariana looks sick. He’s joking. In his interview, he says if he did have it, it would be completely designed by scientists and gemologists, and unlike anything the world has ever seen. Alrighty then. James says it’s the best first dinner party ever. They clink glasses.

Scheana loves the 80s, and says walking into SUR on Pride Day, is like walking into an 80s sitcom. We see them arriving and getting set up in sitcom form – OverSURved – with credits and a laugh track. Scheana says the 80s were the best, and we should have stopped there. Possibly for the first time ever, I tend to agree. Lala wonders where Katie is. She’s on camel-toe watch. In Katie’s interview, she says everyone is in costumes and it’s Pride. There was a time when she didn’t like her body, but she’s accepted that she’s not going to look like Lala or Ariana, but she’s happier than she’s ever been.

SUR is jumping. In Jax’s interview, he says it’s nice to see some things never change. They’re so busy, he can still open a beer, and Tom is wearing something feminine. It’s good to be home. Scheana sings Good As Gold, or whatever the hell the name of the song is she sings. James gets on the bar, and raps. He’s not going to sing about Jax again, is he?

Kristen and Hope sneak in the back. Kristen says they could go in the front, but James wouldn’t be blindsided, which is no fun. Hope says, happy Pride. Peter toasts to Jax coming back. Kristen finds Raquel, and the three of them go into the ladies room. Kristen wants to know if Raquel is aware or doesn’t care. Hope says James is committing infidelity all the time, and Raquel asks if Hope is going to say James had sex with her too. Hope says, at Coachella when Raquel was sleeping. She’s not saying this to hurt Raquel. Kristen says she doesn’t know if Raquel knows the person she’s dating. When Raquel was at school, he was screwing everything he could stick it into. She’s dating the most manipulative POS on the planet. Raquel says, this is coming from her? In Raquel’s interview, she says she knows Kristen is a little deranged. She’s hung up on her past with James, and taken things she resents, and blown them up in her brain. Kristen says if she wants to stay, that’s her business. Raquel wonders why Hope is telling her now, and if it’s because she’s with Kristen, who’s encouraging her. Hope says James manipulated her for years; she had his back. Kristen tells Raquel that it’s not easy to admit you had sex with someone’s boyfriend. We flash back to Kristen telling Stassi about Jax. Hope knows it makes her look bad, and Raquel says, it’s a horrible thing to do. Hope says she’s aware of that, and Raquel says she thought they were friends. She walks out.

Lisa is gorgeous as ever, in pink frills and a giant hat. In her interview, she says every Pride Day, she’s torn in two, running between SUR and PUMP, and next year, there will also be TomTom. Stassi introduces Beau to Lisa, and we find out his real name is Bogey. Lisa says she has to interrogate him, and Stassi says she told him it would be like meeting her dad. Lisa asks how they met, and Stassi says, through Kristen. When Lisa arches an eyebrow, Stassi says, she set Katie and Schwartz up. Lisa says Beau hasn’t mentioned her ass yet, and we flash back to creepy Patrick, who wouldn’t shut up about it. Beau promises he’s not that guy, and he’ll never talk about her ass. His mom said he should thank God for Stassi’s ex. He made Beau look better. Stassi say she’s happy, and Lisa says that’s how it should b. Stassi says she didn’t see it from the outside, and Lisa says, everyone else did. In her interview, Lisa says this is a guy who embraces who Stassi is, rather than suppressing her. She deserves a great relationship.

Raquel hunts for James. James congratulates Jax, who tells him to make sure he’s ready when he does it. James tells Jax that he’s announcing him, so be prepared for a wave. He apologies to Brittany, and she tells him what he said was unwarranted, and hurt her feeling bad [sic]; she was so embarrassed. He promises to never do it again, and says Raquel told him off too. He presents them with a gigantic Patron gift basket. In Brittany’s interview, she says James seems sincere, but she doesn’t know if she’s ready to forgive him yet. She will drink the tequila though.

Raquel asks to talk to James. She pulls him aside, and says she was just ambushed by Kristen and Hope, who said she had sex with him at Coachella. She doesn’t want be idiot. James calls Kristen a slut. In his interview, he insists she’s still obsessed with him, and she’s showing up where he works. Her two main topics are how she pays for everything for Carter, and James Kennedy is an a-hole. He tells Raquel that Kristen is lying through her teeth. Everyone is obsessed with him. He wants to ask Raquel to marry him one day; he wants her forever. This happened multiple times to Jax too, and he and Brittany are engaged now. In his interview, Jax says he’s been accused of cheating a lot. And it’s all true. Raquel starts crying, and says she’s let it go every time someone has told her. He asks what more can he do, but she doesn’t know. They walk through the back of the restaurant, and James says, of all people. The stalkers and the bitches wish they were in his position. He he works hard for his sh*t. Raquel says she’s tired of defending him. He’s insulting people, and she’s trying to tell everyone that he’s a good person. He says, who the eff cares? Let’s go.

Scheana dances on the bar. Schwartz drinks leftover beer from a patron’s table. Lala tells Raquel she was there when James cheated on her. James tries to intervene. Lala asks if she can talk to Raquel, and he says, no, you can’t, and walks away. Raquel asks who she’s hearing this from, and Lala repeats that she was there. When Raquel was at school, he was cheating on her. Raquel doesn’t trust Hope, and Lala says she can’t be that stupid. Raquel says she’s not stupid. Lala wishes she’d wake up. In Lala’s interview, she wonders what’s hard to understand? When Raquel was getting her degree, her boyfriend was getting his, in screwing people who aren’t her. Raquel says Lala claims to support women, but Lala says she doesn’t support Raquel sitting back while James assassinated her with his words. Raquel says is sorry James hurt Lala’s feelings, and Lala says he affected her life. He affected a lot of people’s lives, but they’re good.

James whines to Tom that people are throwing allegations at him. Tom asks if none of them are true, and James swears on his mother’s life. At that moment, somewhere, a lightning bolt strikes her. In Tom’s interview, he says there are a lot of smoking guns. They have Ellie, who had pictures of them in bed, and Gigi, who had his clothes. James has probably cheated. James asks if Tom thinks he’s screwed around on Raquel, and Tom says, at some point. James says Tom should have his back.

Kristen and Hope say James needs to go, and Tom says he works there. He says James is very triggered right now. The other girls show up, and James says, if anyone should be triggered, it’s Lala, but she’s killing it like always. Lala tells him that people aren’t cool with him. He needs to stop screwing up. She says he needs intense help, and he’s like, no, you. Katie asks what’s up with James’s pants, which are belted with a fanny-pack. He tells her that her shorts aren’t flattering. Lose some effing weight. (Yeah. She’s probably a size four.) In her interview, Katie says James points out people’s insecurities, and uses it against them. It’s a sh*tty quality. He should come up with something more inspired than calling her fat.

Still going back and forth, Lisa wants to see how James is doing. He’s walking down the street, high-fiving people and taking selfies with them. He says, no one can replace James Kennedy. He’s the star. That whore can go screw herself.

Next time, a girls’ night without Scheana, Stassi tells Scheana that she has no loyalty and it bites her in the ass, and Katie gives Lisa an old tomato ultimatum.

🎭 OWN has started rerunning The Haves and the Have Nots from the beginning. If you’ve never seen this show, and are a fan of Tyler Perry, and/or nighttime drama, give it a look. The short version is, a savvy prostitute blackmails a married judge out of millions. The prostitute’s mother is also the cleaning lady of the judge’s wife, and they have a relationship much like Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard in The Family That Preys, also a Tyler Perry effort. The acting is fabulous, and the story intense, with lots of twists and turns. I was hooked from the beginning, and I guess a lot of other people were too, since it’s still going strong years later. The big surprise for me was John Schneider, star of the old Dukes of Hazzard, playing the smarmy judge. Who knew he could ooze such evil?

Still working on watching the OC Reunion. I caught some of Part Three. Shannon being psychoanalyzed. Shannon and Gina yelling at each other. Shannon telling Gina not to put words in her mouth. Everyone moaning over their regrets – Shannon’s being losing her sh*t in Jamaica. And ending with a shot of tequila
