General Hospital
Cameron walks into the interrogation room, and Jordan says, while they were checking for gunpowder residue, she was able to screen the security footage from the garage. Like she already told Elizabeth and Scotty, it appears Jason was shot with a bullet coming from behind Cameron. It appears he never fired the gun at all. Scotty says, case closed, and Jordan says, forensics supports it. The bullet Jason was hit with didn’t come from the gun Cameron was holding. She’s dropping the charges, but wants to make something clear; pointing a gun at someone is assault. If the gun had gone off and hit someone, whether or not he intended to shoot them, it’s attempted murder. He should have never picked up that gun. Cameron says he understands, and she says she hopes he does. He came dangerously close to throwing his life away tonight for the next twenty years. He’s free to go. She leaves, and Elizabeth hugs Cameron.
Portia walks into The Savoy, where Curtis is unpacking boxes of liquor. She says, look who’s working late, and he says he’s trying to get the place ready for opening night. He asks if she came from the hospital, and she says, Trina has her car, so she took a Ride Share. They were going past the place, and she saw the lights were on, so she came by to see if he needed any help. A woman comes in, and says she’s sorry she’s late. She thanks Curtis for waiting for her.
Dante comes into the squad room, and Jordan asks if he’s had any luck. He says, Carly doesn’t want to say anything about Jason’s whereabouts, but he’s pretty sure she knows where he is. Jordan says, does he want to bring her in? but he says, there’s no point. Her lawyer is going to say they don’t have probable cause, and she’ll walk right out. Jordan says it’s always the same thing with people like Carly; they don’t play by the rules. He says, and the cops get caught in the crossfire, and she says, ain’t that the truth? She tells him that she’s going home to change, but she’ll be back. On her way out, she sees Sam coming in, and Sam asks if there’s any word on Jason. Jordan nods to Dante, and Sam goes over to him, saying, it was all over the news. They said Jason escaped. Did they find him? Is he okay? Dante says they haven’t found him yet. He knows she’s worried, but they’re doing everything in their power to bring Jason back safely. Sam asks if he’s working on the force again, and he says, just this one case. Everything else is to be determined. She says she’d rather deal with him than anyone else, because if he’s going to bring in Jason safely, he’s going to need her.
At Jax’s place, Josslyn tells Jax, mom still isn’t returning her calls. She knows he said to be patient and wait, but she can’t help it. She’s freaking out about Jason getting shot. Jax says, this isn’t a new situation for Jason. He chose to escape, with a hostage, and he will deal with the fallout. She says, Jason’s the victim here. He didn’t kill Franco. He probably realized that breaking out of the hospital was the only way he could prove his innocence. The doorbell rings, and when Jax opens the door, Carly walks in. She goes over to Josslyn, and hugs her. Josslyn asks, where was she? Why wasn’t she returning Josslyn’s calls? Is Jason okay?
Jason and Britt crouch down behind the bed, and Jason tells her, stay still; someone’s coming. Someone puts a key in the lock, and Jason lowers his gun. She asks what he’s doing. What if it’s Cyrus? He says, Cyrus doesn’t have a key, and she says, maybe he got his hands on one. He says, then he has a clear shot. As the door opens, Jason aims his gun again, and Spinelli comes in. He says, don’t shoot!
Jordan enters the apartment, and looks at boxes being packed. Trina startles her, and says, sorry she didn’t call. Is her dad around? Jordan says, he went to dinner with an ex-cop friend. She has to get changed and head back to work, but Trina is more than welcome to wait. Trina asks if Jordan is moving, but Jordan says, Curtis is. Trina says she’s sorry. She knew they were separated, but she guesses she was hoping… Jordan says, her too, and Trina says, whoever made up happily ever after was totally deluded. Jordan says, a lot of people get one, and Trina says, just not Jordan and Curtis? Jordan says, no. They’re getting divorced.
Curtis says he got the woman’s text, and she says she cleared her schedule. Her phone rings, and she steps away to take the call. Portia says, looks like all of Curtis’s hard work is paying off. She’ll leave him to it. He says, it’s not what she thinks, but she says she’s not judging. She’s been through a divorce, and knows how lonely and painful it is. If he can find companionship, go for it. He says he can explain, but she says, it’s not necessary. He says, maybe it is. Why doesn’t she stay? He could use her help.
Dante tells Sam, everybody and their grandmother is calling about Jason’s escape. He knows she’s worried about Jason, but she should be with Scout and Danny. She tell him, don’t push her away, and he says, when he knows something, she’ll know something. She wants to know all he knows about Jason’s escape, and he says, Jason escaped with a possible hostage, and shots were fired. She says, oh my God, and he says, a bullet has Jason’s blood on it, but they don’t know how badly he’s hurt. He’s with Britt, and hostage or not, she’ll take care of him. Sam says, they have to find Jason before it’s too late, or someone else gets hurt.
Britt thanks Spinelli for bringing the supplies, and he says it’s his great pleasure. He was led to believe Jason was in more dire condition than he appears. Britt says, appearances can be deceiving, and asks Jason how he’s feeling. Don’t lie. She heads for the bag, and Jason says, a little lightheaded, but nothing serious. Britt looks through the bag, and Spinelli tells Jason, they monitored Jason’s escape in the beginning, and it appeared to be going smoothly, but then Jason turned around and ran back inside. Britt says, Jason was saving her life, and Spinelli says, that’s certainly commendable. Britt starts putting something in a syringe, and Jason tells her not to give him anything that’s going to put him under or make him tired, but she says, it’s antibiotics, so his wound doesn’t get infected. She didn’t go through all this trouble just to have him die on her.
Carly tells Josslyn, Jason is okay, but she was worried about Josslyn. Josslyn says, because she ditched the volleyball tournament? and Carly says, the volleyball tournament, and she went to Pennsylvania to pick up her father, and lied about all of it. Josslyn says she knew Carly wouldn’t let her go if she told the truth, and she wanted to see her dad. Jax says he appreciates it, but she can’t lie to her parents, and Carly says, she needs to know where Josslyn is at all times. Josslyn suggests they go home, and she’ll explain there, but Carly says she wants an explanation now. Josslyn is wearing a boot, and her father’s arm is in a sling. Start explaining, both of them, now.
Back at Elizabeth’s house, Scotty says he can order a sausage pizza, but Cameron says he’s fine. Elizabeth says he has to eat, and Cameron tells her, he said he was okay. She says he hardly spoke on the way home. Maybe tomorrow he could talk to Doc. Cameron says, he knows he was stupid, but he wanted to stop Jason because of what happened to Franco. Then… Elizabeth says, then what? and Cameron says, then he heard her say Jason didn’t kill Franco. Scotty takes off his glasses and rubs his forehead. I’m sure he has a massive headache.
Portia wonders why Curtis would need her. It looks like he has all the help he needs. He says, a second opinion is helpful, and introduces mixologist Angela to his good friend Portia. Angela says she’ll get to work, and Curtis tells Portia, Angela’s website is legendary. She’s created the most innovative and original cocktails he’s ever seen. Portia says, so Angela is his new bartender, but he says, mixologist. It’s the term preferred by those as scientific and original as Angela. He brought her there to give him ideas for his cocktail menu. Portia says she wouldn’t think he’d need help with that, and he says, given a choice between a beer and a fancy drink with an umbrella in it, he’ll choose the beer. He asks if Portia wants to help with the tasting. Angela uses the cocktail shaker, and Portia says, that’s one of her favorite sounds. How can she say no? Curtis tells Angela to give them her best shot.
Trina says, if Jordan hadn’t lied to protect her, Curtis would still be there, but Jordan says, no. A lot of people thought Taggert was dead, and she’d do it again to protect Trina from Cyrus. Trina says, those people weren’t Jordan’s husband, and Jordan says, because she lied to Curtis, he realized what she’d been ignoring. They’re marriage wasn’t perfect. Trina says, no marriage is perfect. How can it be? Her mom and dad loved each other, but it wasn’t enough to keep them together. Jordan says, Trina’s mom and Curtis are looking for someone who will always be honest with them, and doesn’t hold anything back. Trina says, and Jordan and her dad have secrets. Jordan says, in their line of work, it comes with the job. Unfortunately, it’s not always possible to be honest.
Sam tells Dante, talk to her, or she’s going to dig her heels in. He says he thought she and Jason broke up. He thought she couldn’t deal with Jason’s business anymore. She says she thought he wasn’t a cop anymore, and he says, he wasn’t until tonight. They were short-handed. Chase is tied up at the hospital, Valerie is in court, and Mac twisted his arm. He owes Mac and Jordan a lot, and feels a responsibility to them. Sam asks, why not let her help them by helping him? She and Jason aren’t together anymore, and she’s living a separate life for the kids, but face it. Who knows Jason better than she does?
Britt puts gauze on Jason’s arm after the shot, and says, that should hold him. Unless he reopens the wound, and bleeds all over again. He says he’ll be careful, and she says, that would be a refreshing change. She tells Spinelli that he can open his eyes now, and keep them open. Jason needs to rest, and she wants Spinelli to make sure he does. Jason asks where she’s going, and she says she has to call her mother. Obrecht needs to know she’s okay. Don’t worry. She won’t give anything away. He asks what she’s going to use as a phone, and nods to Spinelli, who hands her one. She says, wow; you guys think of everything. She goes into another room, and Jason asks if Spinelli has heard from Carly. Spinelli says, they were together in the early part of the evening. They were monitoring what should have been a simple and straightforward escape. He admires Jason’s chivalrous impulse – he’d expect nothing less – but he must point out that it threw a monkey wrench into the plans, causing Jason to be injured, and Carly having to go to the meeting of the Five Families alfredo sauce on her own. Jason asks if Spinelli knows what happened, but Spinelli says Carly hasn’t seen fit to update him, and he had to bring the medical supplies. Jason says they need to get to the MetroCourt. He knows how to do it without the cops seeing. He needs to talk to Carly. Spinelli says he’s not taking Jason anywhere. Even if he was willing to risk it, he loathes facing the wrath of The Britch. Jason says, don’t call her that.
Elizabeth tells Cameron, they didn’t intend for him to overhear. Scotty says he thinks Cameron should hear this. He was convinced, like Cameron, that Jason killed Franco. So were the cops; that’s why they arrested him. Cameron asks what changed Scotty’s mind? and Scotty says, the facts. They all point to Peter August. Cameron says, Jason hated Franco, and Elizabeth didn’t see Mr. August standing over Franco’s body; she saw Jason. A witness saw Jason ditch the gun. Those are facts. Elizabeth says she knows how it looks, but Peter tried killing Franco before, to keep Drew’s memories from coming to light. Cameron says, Peter stopped the assassin, but Scotty says, Peter hired the assassin. They don’t know why he called it off, but he’s the one who printed the story about Franco’s tumor. It brought out every crackpot in town, going after his son. Let’s get the serial killer. They know Franco wasn’t that guy anymore. Cameron asks if they can prove Peter killed Franco, and Elizabeth says, they can’t, but it’s true.
Josslyn tells Carly that her dad was caught in the middle of a robbery in Nixon Falls, and got shot trying to help. Jax says, it’s a minor wound, and the robbers were arrested long before Josslyn and Trina got there. Carly asks how he got involved, and how did Josslyn reinjure her ankle? Josslyn suggests Carly give them time to ask their own questions. Like Jason getting shot. Was hospital security responsible? Was it the police? Jax says, when Dante was here, he said Jason escaped, and took a hostage. Carly asks when Dante was there, and Jax says, he was there earlier. He told them Jason escaped, and took Britt with him. Josslyn says she doesn’t buy for a second that Jason would take a hostage, but people will who don’t know him well, especially those who think he killed Franco.
Angela mixes drinks, and Portia asks Curtis if Angela picks the types of drinks he serves. How does that work? He says, that’s why they’re here. He used his phone to scan the QR code Angela emailed him. He asks Angela to show Portia the QR code, and Angela holds up her phone. Portia says, yes, of course (🍷), and Curtis says it contains a proposed cocktail menu. Portia says, what they’re going to be tasting now? and he says, yes. He asks Angela to please surprise them, and she pours two drinks for them. Portia thanks her, and toasts, to the Savoy. May it have a long and successful life. They clink glasses, and take a sip. Curtis says, wow, and Portia says his mixologist knows her stuff. She asks what the name of the drink is, and Angela says, Between the Sheets, and they laugh.
Jordan tells Trina that she needs to change, and get back to work. There’s food in the fridge; Trina can make a snack. Trina says she’s good. She’ll talk to her dad another time. She says she heard on the news that Jason escaped GH, and Jordan says she can’t talk about it. Trina says she gets it. Josslyn must be worried sick. Jordan says tell Josslyn she’ll find him, and bring him back safe. Trina thanks her, and says she can talk to Curtis, and remind him that Jordan lied to protect her. Jordan says, thanks, but like she said, there were cracks in their marriage before. Trina says, the whole trust thing? and Jordan says, exactly. If you don’t have it when it matters most, what is your marriage really about? Trina leaves, and Jordan looks at the boxes again.
Dante tells Sam, you win, and Sam says, he’ll let her help. He says, okay, but only because if he doesn’t, he knows she’ll do it on her own. He has conditions, and she says, name it. He says, she doesn’t go rogue. If she finds out anything, share it with him. She says she has conditions. If he finds out anything, he shares it with her. He says, deal, and she says, deal, and they shake hands. She asks, what’s next? and he says, they’ll start with the obvious; the safe houses. Jason is definitely holed up in one. She says, but which one? She used to know where a lot of their locations were, but she’s been out of the loop for a long time. She does know someone who might know though.
Spinelli apologizes, saying, his cheap shot at Britt was uncalled for. Jason says she saved his life, and Spinelli says Jason needs to heed her advice; rest and heal. Britt comes back, and says, good. Mr. Spinelli was paying attention, unlike his friend who’s determined to ruin her hard work. She gives Spinelli back the phone, and Jason says he’s got to get to Carly, but Britt says she disagrees. She’s betting Carly would too. He was shot, operated on in a very unsafe safe house, and just got a blood transfusion. He needs to heal, or he’ll be no good to Carly or anyone else. Spinelli’s’ phone rings, and he says, greetings, Samantha, but Dante says it’s him. They need to talk. Spinelli asks if Sam is okay, and Dante says, she’s great, but he needs Spinelli at the station. Spinelli asks why Dante is summoning him to a place Dante is no longer affiliated with, and Dante says he’ll explain when Spinelli gets there. Spinelli says, now is not a good time, but Dante suggests he make time, or he’ll send a squad car to Spinelli’s house, and the neighbors will be interested as to why there’s police presence outside his home. Spinelli asks if Dante can do that. Is he an officer of peace again? but Dante hangs up. Spinelli says Dante wants to see him at the PCPD, and Jason says, then he’d better not disappoint. Spinelli says, Dante will be very disappointed. His lips are super sealed. He leaves, and Britt asks if Jason is sure it’s a good idea to let Spinelli talk to the cops.
Cameron says, it can’t be true. Jason didn’t kill Franco. That means all the times he fought with Josslyn and Jake, he was wrong. Josslyn kept trying to tell him that Jason saved his life. He picked up a gun… He could have shot Jason. He runs upstairs, and Elizabeth starts to follow him, but Scotty stops her. He tells her to wait. Cameron needs time to figure things out. When he needs help, they’ll be there for him.
Carly tells Josslyn, Jason is innocent. They know that, and it’s all that matters. They hug, and Jax tells Josslyn that he needs to talk to Carly in private. Josslyn says she’s not a child; he can talk in front of her. He says it’s because she’s not a child that he’s asking her to give them a moment. Carly tells her, it’s okay, and Josslyn leaves. Jax asks if Carly really expects him to believe that Jason escaped all by himself. He had to have someone on the outside helping him. Someone who would do anything for him, and they both know who that is.
Portia wonders where they’re coming up with the cocktail names, and asks if she gets to name her own cocktail. Curtis says he thinks that can be arranged. He picks up the next drink, and says, this looks familiar. They both take a sip, and he says, yeah, and she says, Moonlight Garden. He says she flew to Miami for a medical conference, and she says, he surprised her by showing up at her hotel room. It rained the entire time, and when they weren’t in the room… He says, they were in the bar. The bartender made this very drink for them. She says, the bartender felt bad because they couldn’t go outside; they couldn’t take long walks. She remembers he said, wherever you’ll be, one sip of this, and you’ll feel like you’re in a… They both say, moonlight garden. She asks if it’s staying on the menu, but he says he thinks it’s better if it stays a memory.
Britt tells Jason, she has her own history with Spinelli. Would she save him if his life was in danger? Yes, but would she trust him if hers was? No. He says he trusts Spinelli more than anyone, and she says she recognizes the guy has his good points; his loyalty to Jason, his gadget wizardry. But he has a habit of filling in sentences with twenty words when five will do. Does Jason really trust him not to reveal their location? Jason says he knows Spinelli, and he knows exactly how this is going to play out.
Dante asks Spinelli, where’s Jason? Was he with Spinelli when Dante called? Spinelli says he has no idea what Dante is talking about, and Dante says Jason needed help to escape; computer help, that’s him. Spinelli says he admits he is an expert… and Dante says, quit the games or he’ll put Spinelli in lock-up, and he can hang out with the worst of the worst. Spinelli says, no intimidation will cause him to confess, and tries to get up, but Dante pushes him back into the chair. Sam runs in, and says, enough. Dante promised to take it easy on Spinelli. Dante says Spinelli knows where Jason is, and Sam says, don’t say another word. She’s calling Diane. Dante says she’s going to regret this, and so is Spinelli. He slams out of the room, and Sam asks if Spinelli is okay. He says he’s been through worse. How is she? She seems frantic. She says, frantic is an understatement. She’s scared. She’s frantic for Danny. Scout is too little to understand, but Danny’s not. He can see the news, or look online. Spinelli says, Jason is fine, and she asks if he knows where Jason is. He says, they know Jason is eminently able to take care of himself, and she sits down across from him. She says, Jason was shot. Is he really comfortable trusting Britt with Jason’s life? He knows where Jason is, doesn’t he? She can’t believe it. He’s going to treat her like this, after everything they’ve been through? He doesn’t trust her not to say anything? Where is Jason? Where is he?
Elizabeth tells Scotty that she’s glad Jake is at a sleepover, and she doesn’t have to tell him until he gets home tomorrow. Scotty says, poor kid, and she says, Jake knew his father was innocent, and kept defending Jason to Cameron, but Cameron wouldn’t hear it. How does she help her boys get through this?
Cameron calls Trina, and asks if she’s got a minute. She says, for him, she’s got five. Did he hear Jason escaped from GH? Pretty wild. He guesses the news has already reached Buffalo, but she says she and Josslyn never made it to the volleyball tournament. Long story, but they ended up going to Pennsylvania to pick up Josslyn’s dad instead. He says, so she’s in Pennsylvania? And she says, no. They’re in Port Charles; they drove back last night. They took her mom’s car, and she dropped Josslyn and her dad off. He asks what she was doing, and she says, long story. And please don’t tell Josslyn, I told you so. She feels bad enough about playing volleyball against her doctor’s orders. He says he’s never been one to tell anybody, I told you so. He’ll talk to her later.
Carly tells Jax, if he wants to blame someone for this mess, blame Cyrus. As far as she’s concerned, he’s responsible for Sonny’s death, and wants to fill the void Sonny left behind. Jax says, Cyrus didn’t help Jason escape, and Carly says, he’s the reason Franco is dead, and the reason Jason escaped. Jax says he knows Cyrus wants Jason out of the way so he can take over Sonny’s territory, and Carly says, Cyrus realized tonight, it won’t be so easy for him, but she’s sure he’ll keep trying. He says, it’s not her fight, and it’s not her daughter’s fight, but Carly says, Josslyn is right. She’s not a little girl anymore. Jason would take on Cyrus if he could, but someone had to step in to protect Sonny’s family. He says, and that person is her?
Curtis asks Angela if she thinks the menu will be ready in time for the opening, and she says, whatever he wants. He thanks her, and she leaves. Portia says it looks like his mixologist is ready to mix it up with him, and he says she has an active imagination. She says, Angela’s smile said it all. She can’t believe he didn’t notice. He says he cares more about a good cocktail, and she says, really? Maybe he’s not as ready to walk away as he thinks. He says, because he didn’t notice a smile? and she says, because he’s still wearing a ring. Trina starts to come down the stairs, but sees them, and backs up.
Dante comes back to the interrogation room, and says, time’s up. He asks, where’s Sam? and Spinelli says, is he under arrest? If so, he pleads the fifth. If not, he still pleads the fifth. Dante asks Officer Miller to take Spinelli to holding, where he can hang out with some of their other guests. Spinelli asks if those guests are potentially hostile, and Dante says Spinelli can stick to his principles. That’s what the fifth is for, right? Spinelli says he did tell Sam something she found illuminating, and Dante says, which is what? Spinelli doesn’t say anything, and Dante says, okay. Maybe he needs to sit and stew with his new friends downstairs while he thinks of what to say next. Officer Miller takes Spinelli out, and Dante makes a call. He asks if they followed her… Did she see them?… Don’t do anything. He’s on his way.
Scotty says he hopes Elizabeth convinces Cameron to get psychological help, even if it is Doc. Cameron knows she’s there and supporting him, which is good. Elizabeth says, Cameron had to admit he was wrong about Jason, when he took such a strong stance. Thank God he didn’t pull the trigger. Cameron alienated his brother and his closest friend. She doesn’t know how he’s going to bounce back from that. Scotty says, Elizabeth is all over the map. Let him go upstairs and see what’s going on.
Jax says, Jason decided to escape, so she stepped in to take his place? How far is she willing to take this, and how is she going to explain it to Josslyn? She says, Josslyn has heard worse from her, but he says, Josslyn shouldn’t have to hear anything – ever again. For God’s sake, this has got to stop. Carly says, it can’t. Sonny is gone, and Jason isn’t there. There is no one else. He says, there are others who are quite capable of taking over, but she insists there aren’t. She already declared herself in charge, and if she steps back, she’ll leave her family vulnerable, and Cyrus will take over. She has to remain in charge. That’s the deal, and he’ll just have to get used to it.
Jax says, Carly has made her choice, and now he’ll make his. Josslyn stays there. She says, no, and he says, then tell him that he’s wrong to worry. That whatever she put in motion isn’t causing some rethinking of how to best retaliate. She says, Josslyn stays tonight; only tonight. They’ll see how it plays out. He says, maybe they should take it one night at a time, and she says her security people stay there, or Josslyn doesn’t. He says, her security people? Does she like way that sounds? Fine. He’ll allow them to stay. Josslyn asks, what’s going on? and Carly says she and Jax decided Josslyn she’ll stay their tonight. She’ll come by in the morning, and they’ll work everything out. Is it okay with her? Josslyn asks if she has a choice, and Carly says, sometimes you don’t. She’s sorry, but they make the decisions they make because they love her. Josslyn says she knows, and they hug. Josslyn says she loves Carly her too, and Carly tells Jax, take care of her. He says she knows he will, and she leaves.
Scotty comes downstairs, and tells Elizabeth, Cameron is nowhere to be found. He’s not in his room; he’s nowhere. She says he’s not down there. He’s gone. They have to find him.
Josslyn says, Jax and Carly were talking about Jason, weren’t they? and Jax says, a little bit. She heard her mother. Apparently, Jason is doing fine. Josslyn says, what else? and he says, they talked about her, and what’s best for her. She says, which is? and he says, a good night’s sleep to start. The doorbell rings, and he tells her, go upstairs, but she says, no way. She wants to see who it is. The guard says, they have a visitor, but Jax says he wasn’t expecting anyone. The guard says, they’re here to see his daughter. It’s Cameron.
Trina peeks down the stairs, and Curtis says, maybe it’s the right time to make a clean break, and there’s no time like the present. He tries to take off the ring, but it’s stuck. Portia says she’ll give him some assistance, and he tells her, go easy. She gets it off, and hands it to him. Trina watches.
Jordan asks Officer Miller where Dante is, but he doesn’t know. Dante told him to watch a person of interest. She looks into the interrogation room, and then goes in. Spinelli says, Detective Falconari is out of control, but she says she doesn’t want to hear it. She wants to hear about Spinelli and Jason. Start talking now.
Sam gets to the safe house, but Dante has followed, and tells her, back away from the door. She says, he followed her, and he says, damn right. It was a test, and she failed. Back off. She says, no way. She’s going in with him. Dante draws his gun, and tries the door, but it’s locked. He yells, police! and kicks in the door, but no one is there.
Britt drives, with Jason on the passenger side. He tells her to slow down, but she wants to get out of Port Charles as fast as possible. He says it wouldn’t be good if they got pulled over. Stick to the speed limit. She says, sure thing, grandpa.

💰 Just a quick rundown on the season premiere of Million Dollar Listing: New York. It started with the beginnings of the pandemic. Fredrik was stuck in LA; Steve said sellers weren’t listing properties; and Ryan said this was going to change everything. Moving to three months earlier, the city was bustling. Ryan said his team from Nestseekers had done 1.4 billion in sales in 2019, and he was looking to do more. Daughter Zena was almost one, and he was renovating his dream home in Brooklyn. New broker, Kirsten (or KJ), was from the Hudson Advisory Team, and looked at real estate as a competitive sport. Steve had cut all his hair off, and said he was taking fewer listings. He found asking prices were too high, and he wouldn’t take a listing unless it was priced right.
Tyler had been floundering last season, wanting to sell at a higher price point. Since he’d never had a sale in the skabillion range, it was hard to get someone to trust him enough to give him a chance. He’d decided to step it up. He got a new wardrobe to dress the part, was working with a life coach, meditating, and working out. He had a new love of his life, a horse named Quinaro, and had begun riding as well. Another new part of his life was assistant Kemba, who went with him to see the ginormous 3000 square foot apartment, that spanned an entire floor and was nearly a block wide. And had a private swimming pool that changed colors. He tried explaining to the sellers that the apartment was over-staged. Potential buyers didn’t realize how high ceilings were because they were looking at the shiny gold couch. He told them that restaging it would be in the $120-150K range, and they needed to go down in price to $11 million. It was what the market was telling him.
Tyler got the sellers to lower the price, but they wouldn’t pony up to restage. Some brokers pay for it themselves and get it back when the property sells, but I guess that wasn’t an option for him, so the furniture was removed entirely. Leaving brokers and potential buyers nowhere to sit during the open house. Hopefully, the $10K in champagne made up for it. And the string quartet. Tyler said one had played as the Titanic sunk, and he felt it would be symbolic if he was going down. Kelly Bensimon, who’d been on RHONY once upon a time, showed up.
So did the other brokers, including KJ, who immediately chatted up the seller. In his interview, Ryan said, if you didn’t keep your client handcuffed to your ankles, Kirsten would steal them because she was a shark. Like him.
The only other thing really worth mentioning was the faucet in a townhouse Ryan was checking out. It had sensors in it, which caused the hot and cold water to light up red and blue respectively. Even Ryan said he’d never seen that before.
This season, real estate upstate, Dorinda Medley from RHONY, a llama, Tyler has a win, Fredrik comes back, and Ryan opens his own real estate company.
🏖 In the horror that was Get Me the Hell Out of Here Already Summer House Reunion Part Two, Kyle had walked off, and Paige told Hannah, you have to learn to walk away in your mind without physically walking away. Surprisingly, I thought this was actually decent advise. We took a trip down Carl Memory Lane, which was kind of fun. Clips were shown of all the cast members throughout the season, but Carl got special treatment, since he’d become such a big boy. His clips went all way back to the beginning of this dreadful series. We also found out that Captain Lee (Below Deck) had reached out to Carl, since both Carl’s brother and the captain’s son had died from overdoses. Lindsay said it was the true definition of a Bravo family, but I’d say it was more like a testament to what a decent guy Captain Lee is. Carl said he had a hard time watching the old clips.
In other news, Danielle had been living with Robert for five months, and thought he was the one. Paige and Perry had broken up, Paige explaining that being away from him for six weeks made her realize she wasn’t feeling what she should be feeling. Lindsay and Stephen called it quits because of personality differences. Then there was the obligatory moment of talking at the same time, along with a side of screeching and finger pointing, when sh*t stirrer Andy brought up Hannah telling everyone a psychic said Lindsay slept with Luke. While well-adjusted people would probably laugh or at least shrug it off, you’d have thought from Lindsay’s reaction, the world was coming to an end. What is that line again about protesting too much?
Hannah was now engaged to Des after six months of dating, and said quarantine years were like dog years. Luke and Lindsay ganged up on Hannah for saying Luke was leading her on when she’d been with Des. I still don’t get this, since it wasn’t like she had some kind of commitment with Des or Luke, who kept sending mixed messages. She said Luke had asked her to meet his parents, and Luke had the audacity to claim production had wanted him to do it. Andy was like, um… no, and Hannah walked, saying, Luke was an effing a-hole. He hunted her down and apologized, saying he’d been going through stuff. Ugh. The vaguest, most lame excuse in the world.
Kyle accused Hannah of being a fake friend… or Paige. I wasn’t sure. Maybe it was both of them. Paige didn’t want to seem like she was betraying Hannah and Amanda or being two-faced. Hannah said she was always on the defense, but also couldn’t let go of animosity toward Kyle. This seemed to be the end of Amanda and Hannah’s friendship, but who the hell knows.
Andy thought they should close with gratitude. Since, in one of his many drunken moments, Kyle said he was grateful for sharks, friends, and family, Andy asked if that was still the case. Kyle said, despite the drama, he hadn’t wanted to go home, and Carl said, who had it better than them? Andy ended with a toast – toasted bread – and everyone got a sandwich. Considering how they started eating like they’d never seen food, I’m guessing it was a 50 hour day.
In closing, thank God it’s over.
📺 During the commercial breaks, Andy kept saying he was going to have the greatest Housewives on Watch What Happens Live. I beg to differ, since LVP was nowhere to be seen.

Once again, it turned into a day on the hamster wheel, but tomorrow is Friday, and at least I get to change wheels soon. And maybe a little Netflix & Chips. No matter what you prefer with your streaming, stay safe, stay questioning authority, and stay keeping your clients handcuffed to your ankles around KJ and Ryan.
