What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
General Hospital
Griff thanks Anna for helping him. She tells him thereâs no manual for being a parent. He says it was just him and now heâs plus one. Anna reminds him that God doesnât give you more than you can handle. Maxie storms in wondering where “that witch” is. She says itâs Claudetteâs fault she was kidnapped. Anna says sheâs gone. Nathan asks where, but Griff says they donât know.
Curtis meets Jordan at the station. She thinks heâs working for Sonny.
Alexis tells Julian the bomb was payback for all the horrible things heâs done. Now Morgan is dead because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and he was just a kid. Julian says he was a grown man and Alexis starts getting loud. She asks everyone if they wouldnât throw a parade if Julian was gone. Julian says sheâs drunk. Maybe so, but that doesnât make it any less true.
Michael is on the bridge and Nell comes along. She says itâs a great view and he says itâs a good place to think. She offers to leave, but he tells her to stay. He says heâs not going to find what heâs looking for anyway – his little brother.
Jason interrupts Sonny trying to strangle Scotty.
Griff says he tried to stop Claudette, and Maxie says he did a bang up job. He says he thought he was getting through. He turned his back for a second, and she knocked him out. Anna asks if Claudette knew about the kidnapping. Nathan says they were together when he found Maxieâs bracelet. Anna says Claudette probably thought she was next.
Curtis says heâs a licensed PI, and itâs none of Jordanâs business who he works for. She tells him to stay out of her investigation, because when she goes after Sonny, she might go after him too.
Nell and Michael talk about the history of the bridge. Michael remembers how he and Morgan played there as children. Nell says them, and the body guards, and tells him it’s an intense way to grow up. Michael says they spent half the time with their mom and half with Sonny. He talks about how Morgan loved penguins because the family stays together. He says Morgan was the definition of homebody. Nell wonders how heâd feel about no one sticking by his father.
Scotty says he still dreams about a child he lost and Sonny is going to dream about a child he murdered.
Alexis says sheâs not drunk, but sheâs working on it. She tells Julian to shut up, and tells him that everyone knows heâs a murderer. He says he didnât kill Morgan, but she says he might as well have. He says Morgan mixed his meds with alcohol, and itâs lucky he didnât take other people down with him. He starts talking about Carly and Sonny being bad parents. Carly comes out of nowhere and whacks him good. I laugh and so does Alexis.
Griff asks if Maxie is sure The Beard was Valentinâs emissary. She says he never said it, but sheâs sure. Anna says sheâll get an investigation going. Nathan says the PCPD is working with the Coast Guard.
Curtis says Jordan wants to tell him where he can and canât work, and now she wants to arrest him. She says heâs interfering with the investigation. She tells Curtis that Sonny killed his own son instead of Julian, and if he wants justice, he should turn himself in. Suddenly, it dawns on Jordan that Curtis is working for Julian.
Carly says Julian came into her restaurant and now heâs talking trash about her son. Julian tries to tell her to calm down, but she just gets louder. She says heâs a liar and a murderer. She tells him to come on try to put a knife to her throat, then throws him out.
Ava tells Scotty that sheâs sorry about his daughter. She says Sonny is dangerous, and now heâs grieving, so Scotty shouldnât provoke him. Scotty says Jason is the only reason Sonny let him go, and Ava says heâs welcome; she texted him. Scotty wants to call the police, but Ava stops him.
Sonny tells Jason if it wasnât for Scotty getting Julian off, Morgan would still be alive. Sonny says he wouldnât have ordered the car bomb in a million years and the guy refused to do the job, but now his son is dead. Jason asks if heâs blaming him.
Nathan finds out which flight Claudette took and says the Canadian police will be waiting. Anna wants her to know that Charlotte is okay and they can protect them. Nathan says it doesnât matter that heâs not her father, heâs going to do his job to protect and serve.
Jordan says she wondered why Sonny would hire an outsider, especially one who has connections to the police. She asks what Curtis has, and says itâs his obligation to tell her. He says she refused him entry into the police force, so he worked hard to make it on his own, and now she wants his information. She says sheâs trying to stop a war. If he proves that Sonny planted the bomb, there will be retaliation. Curtis says Julian doesnât want Sonny dead; he wants to put Sonny in prison.
Alexis asks Carly if she wants her to call someone. Carly says no, and Alexis doesnât look like sheâs doing so great herself. Alexis is surprised Carly is at work, and Carly says she doesnât want to be home because Morgan isnât coming through the door. Alexis says sheâs sorry, and Carly says she hates that phrase. No matter how sorry anyone is it wonât bring Morgan back.
Ava tells Scotty that the first person Sonny will call is Diane, and sheâll want to know what led up to the altercation. Sheâs afraid sheâll be exposed. Sonny already knows the symptoms of being bi-polar. Heâll remember how he found her in Morganâs room and put the pieces of the puzzle together. She says how long would she live after that? Heâs her attorney and they need to just step back and keep cool. Scotty adds, and let Sonny self destruct.
Nell tells Michael that when you meet Sonny, itâs easy to know heâs in charge, but lately heâs been drinking and seems to have a delayed reactions. She says heâs fine with Avery, but she shouldnât be responsible for his happiness. She says if heâs left alone to grieve, sheâs not sure heâs going to make it.
Sonny tells Jason to leave, but he doesn’t want Sonny to be alone. Sonny says Jason made his choice not to work with him and he honored that. He says theyâve always been honest with each other. Jason could have eliminated Julian, and Morgan would still be alive. He canât count on Jason anymore.
Curtis says heâs paid to provide a service and Julian knows heâs up to the task. He thinks Jordan is jealous of how heâs better at it than she is. He says she canât afford to have him beat her to the punch, and thinks sheâs threatened by him. He asks what it is about him that sheâs afraid of.
Anna says itâs unlikely that Charlotte is the target. Valentin is obsessed with Claudette, and since she left, the target has moved. Griff gives Claudette credit for being a decent mother.
Alexis says theyâve had their differences, but in the end, she and Carly are both mothers who would lay down their lives for their children. She canât comprehend what Carly is going through. Carly says she doesnât know what comes next. The thought of life without Morgan terrifies her. Alexis says she could lose one of her daughter just as easily, and if it happened to Carly, it could happen to her.
Sonny swears he didnât do it. Jason says Sonny made the best decision given the situation, and to let him find out who screwed it up. Sonny says he set it in motion. Carly begged him not to and he didnât listen because he believed it was right. Now Carly and Michael are gone, and Morgan is dead; he has nothing left. Jason says heâs still there, but Sonny says he lost Jason a long time ago.
Curtis says either Jordan has a problem letting him win or she likes him getting to her. Andre calls, but Jordan asks to call him back. She tells Curtis to go. He has Julianâs bidding to do, which heâll mess up since he messes up everything he touches. He leaves and his phone rings. Its Julian.
Julian tells Curtis that he wants Sonny in prison and wants Sonnyâs wife to stop making him look bad in front of Alexis. He wants proof and wants it now.
Maxie doesnât feel like eating. She tells Nathan that sheâs worried about Charlotte, but Nathan says she has a new life and sheâll adjust. Maxie says as much as she hates Claudette, she doesnât want her harmed. She says The Beard will come after Claudette like he did with her.
Anna says Griff wonât become a father overnight, but he can be a guardian in the meantime. Griff wonders if Charlotte will ask for her mommy. He says he wasnât Claudetteâs best optionâ he was the only the one she had left.
Carly says Julian is arrogant and does what he wants to do. Sheâs going to her office and tells Alexis if Julian comes back to stay out of it. Alexis says she tried to stop Julian, and all she did was get misery. Carly says sheâs miserable too, and wouldnât mind a fight.
Michael tells Nell all he can think about is his little brother. He talks about how special Morgan was. and now heâs gone because of their dad. He doesnât know how he can forgive that. Nell says sheâs not saying forgive, but someone is in the same pain that he is. She tells Michael that if he thinks thereâs anything salvageable in the relationship, think twice about abandoning Sonny.
Alexis calls Michael. She thinks Carly could use some support. Michael tells Nell he has to go. Nell says she hopes she didnât overstep, but he says sheâs just being truthful, kind and cute. Or kind of cute. I’m not sure. He asks if sheâll stay with Avery until they can figure something out.
Sonny says since Jason got his memory back, heâs been distant. Itâs not going to work out the way it used to. Jason asks if theyâre not friends, and Sonny says heâs on his own now. Jason says heâs blaming himself and punishing himself by pushing everyone away, but heâs not going anywhere. Sonny says when he looks at Jason, all he can think about is what he lost. He doesnât want him there or his help; he just wants his son. Jason says canât bring Morgan back, but heâs not giving up on Sonny. Sonny says he gave up a while ago, and donât try him because heâs got nothing left to lose. He tells Jason to get out and Jason leaves. Sonny does not look good.
Anna tells Griff that things will be clearer in the morning. He says things are clear now, and itâs no wonder Claudette went to Nathan. Heâs failed every test heâs had, and Charlotte deserves better. He doesnât think he can be a father to her. Anna says heâll have to give her up then.
Nathan tells Maxie that Claudette wasnât on the plane.
Curtis sneaks into Sonnyâs place.
Ave talks to herself, saying she hopes Nicholas and Morgan are at peace, wherever they are. Thatâs a good question. Where are they? Avaâs phone rings. She asks who it is and then, as though he read our minds, she says, âNicholas?â
Jordan calls Andre, apologizing for blowing him off. She says it was a work thing, but nothing consequential.
Curtis goes through drawers. Jason finds him and he suggests maybe they can work together.
Michael comes to the hotel. Carly realizes that Alexis must have called him. He says he ran into Nell and Sonny isnât doing well.
Sonny goes to the bridge. He looks like crap. He relives his last argument with Morgan, telling Carly Morgan is dead, and Carly blaming him. He takes out a gun and says heâs sorry to Morgan. He looks confused and starts to cry.
Tomorrow, Jason asks Curtis who heâs working for, Jordan tells Valerie that Curtis is dirty (and not in a good way), and Sonny sees Robin on the bridge. She spends more time in Port Charles as a vision than she does in actuality.
Little Women: LA
The girlsâ night at the casino isnât going too well. Christyâs friend Rhonnie gets into it with Tonya, and her other friend Karla chimes in, cursing Tonya out. Lovely. Tonya tells Christy she was just the messenger in telling her why Terra didnât want to be there. In her interview, Christy says she keeps trying to fix things and it gets screwed up. We flash back to all the times sheâs tried to prove sheâs right, which is what she calls fixing things. Elena tells Rhonnie that they werenât involved, so itâs none of their business, and Christy had claimed that she wanted them to get together to apologize. In her interview, Elena is disappointed that instead of an apology, they got medical records and Christyâs nasty friends.
Christy apologizes to Tonya. Tonya says thatâs why she came. Jasmine says Christyâs problem is Terra and Briana, and asks what sheâs going to do to fix that. Christy is up for ideas, but nobody has anything.
Terra meets Tonya for lunch. Tonya is impressed with Terra’s shoes. Terra says sheâs breaking in her heels because theyâre the first dancing shoes sheâs using on Dancing with the Stars. Tonya says sheâs always wanted to do the show, but sheâs excited for Terra. She suggests Terra use her activewear for rehearsals.
Tonya tells Terra about how Christy brought her posse with her to casino night. Terra says she wants to meet privately and talk to Christy about moving on. Tonya doesnât have any suggestions for that, but she wants all the girls to go on a survival retreat. In her interview, she says the team building exercises will help them build relationships or the girls will kill each other off one by one. Either way, itâs good.
In her interview, Christy talks about coming up to her seventh anniversary of being sober. Sheâs upset that Briana was spreading rumors about her popping pills. Christy meets with her âsober sisterâ to discuss life events. Christy tells her about the retreat and Sis says that Christy canât make someone be friends with her. Christy says sheâs going to apologize one more time to Briana and Terra. Whether they accept it or not is on them.
Commercial break. In the Little Women: Atlanta‘s Reunion Part Two, it looks like there are a lot of soap opera faces and mouths hanging open. I’m passing on this one, even though Juicy’s umbrella trimmed in marabou feathers looks interesting.
In her interview, Briana says being moms has brought her and Terra closer together and theyâve been able to let past things go. The two couples get together. Terra makes her announcement about Dancing with the Stars. In her interview, Briana claims she was supposed to be on it a couple of seasons ago, but had to pass. Terra brings up girls’ night. Matt says no way they want to be around Christy, since she got all up in their legal business. In her interview, Briana says she doesnât want to get stabbed in the back again.
Terra tells Briana about the retreat. Briana says that thereâs no way she can be friends with Christy again, and Terra says there wonât be any kumbaya moment on her end.
Jasmine and Elena go camping shopping. Elena checks out a switchblade. Elena says itâs obvious they donât know what theyâre doing, and hopes they survive the survival shebang. Jasmine asks if this is the worst itâs ever been with Christy. Elena says it is, and sheâs tired of trying to help fix Christyâs relationships, but itâs about second chances, so they should give her another one.
In her interview, Terra says she has no idea who her dancing partner is going to be. Sheâs nervous about their reaction to her being a little person. Tonya and Joe are there for support. I donât know any of the Dancing with the Stars people. I only watched it once when Mel B was competing, and as soon as she was cut, I was out. Itâs Sasha. Terra is excited to be dancing with him. She says he danced with Snookie a few seasons back, and although sheâs super short, it wonât be the same. She asks Sasha if heâs scared, but he says heâs brimming with ideas. Tonya thinks the biggest hurdle will be getting everyone over their preconceived notions of what a little person can do.
Terra brings up having just had a C-section, and Sasha says her health is a priority. If she has any pain or feels any weirdness, let him know immediately. He seems like a really nice guy.
Christy runs on the treadmill while Todd watches. In her interview, Christy says a little personâs stomach is the same size as an average sized person’s, so dieting is hard. She wants to buy a treadmill for the house in hopes that Todd will use it too. It scares her that sheâs never seen an old little person. Really? I’m pretty sure a lot of them get old.
She tells Todd about the retreat. Todd thinks Christy should back away from Briana since sheâs obviously more invested in the relationship than Briana is. Christy says sheâs known them a long time and wants ot make things right. She stands her ground about Terra having given her a concussion, and Todd tells her just donât stand so close she gets burned. Whatever that means.
Tonya says they used to lean on each other for support against an average sized world, but now their group has fallen apart. As soon as Terra sees Christy, she suggests taking out the bug spray, so weâre off to a good start. Instructor Joel shows up, and Elena suggests a last trip to the nice bathroom before they leave. In her interview, Terra says if Christy gets out of hand, it might turn into a real survival situation.
Joel asks what theyâre hoping to get out of it. Elena talks about rebuilding the group, and he says that team exercises are good for that. He starts with shelter building and asks Tonya to pick the two groups. He asks who is uncomfortable with who, and Terra says because of legal issues, she refuses to be paired with Christy. So itâs Elena, Christy and Jasmine, and Tonya, Terra and Briana. Jasmine says Christy is on the wrong team for rebuilding relationships.
In her interview, Christy says if Terra and Briana donât want to be on her team, theyâre being childish. Tonya asks Briana and Terra what it would take for them to forgive Christy. Terra says pay her legal bills for one. Since Christy messed with her family, she hates her, and she knows that’s a strong word. Briana says Christy got way out of line with her, and she just canât be friends again. Tonya heaves a huge sigh. Huge.
With shelter building completed, Sean moves on to fire. He wants them to put mud from the creek on their faces. Elena says the only mud going on her face is from the spa and Jasmine passes because sheâs pregnant. Jasmine helps put mud on Terraâs face. She says the team building isnât working very well.
Joel thinks it would be beneficial if they write down whatâs bothering them. Later, theyâll read them and put the problems to rest. Everyone hesitates and Tonya makes me laugh, saying donât everybody run for the pencils at once. Joel takes them to the fire pit and makes fire in like two seconds. Jasmine thinks it looks easy. I think it’s probably like watching Gene Kelly dance – it looks effortless, but you try it. Jasmine wonders if theyâre struggling because theyâre little people. Nice try. Two hours later, Terra has success.
They sit around the campfire and Joel says theyâre there to rekindle, so get on with the letters. Tonya goes first, telling them to stop being sensitive and stay in their lanes. Everyone claps and she throws it in the fire. Christy tells Briana that there was a lot of name calling and mistrust, but itâs not in her character. She talks about her father having cancer and her daughter being ill, and says thatâs why sheâs been acting so crazy. In her interview Briana says Christy is rehashing what happened, but no apology came forth. Briana tells Christy that she was on her deathbed, and Christy made a snowball effect thatâs irreparable, adding that she still didnât get an apology. Christy says she canât control Briana’s family being a-holes. Elena says Christy is side-stepping her part, and Briana feels like she canât trust Christy anymore.
Christy says she gave Briana’s parents an update because she cares about her. Briana says sheâs had death threats and is now looking into getting a gun. She says itâs about overstepping boundaries. Christy claims sheâs alone and needs support, and Briana felt the same way. Christy apologizes. Briana says sheâs moving forward with the positive in her own life, but sheâs done with Christy. Elena thinks she should forgive. Tonya says itâs going to take time, and brings up Terra. Terra says that she was going to apologize to Christy for the iced tea fight, and then found out she needed to lawyer up because Christy filed a police report. Christy says they were both hurt. She goes on about how sheâs had concussions before, but she had a recent one and has the medical records to prove it.
Christy says sheâs sick of talking sh*t and wants to move forward. Terra says she does too, but Jasmine tells her that sheâs not exactly moving on. Elena says it doesnât look like forgiveness is going to happen on Terraâs part. Terra says she is sorry she refused to be in a group with Christy. She says sheâs sorry she responded immaturely. Sheâs done fighting, but wants everyone to respect that some things cant be fixed. If sheâs the broken link in the chain of their group, she wants them to accept it. Tonya says when someone breaks your heart, it can take a long time to mend. In her interview, Terra says the girls need to accept she doesn’t want to be friends with Christy. Terra tells the group that she doesnât want to prevent them doing things together, but she still doesnât want to be friends and doesnât want it brought up again. She feels that itâs something that canât be fixed.
Next time, the ladies take a defense class, Tonya has Lasik eye surgery, Angelique brings her boyfriend home, and Dancing with the Stars rehearsal begins.

He gives Jordan a recording of Heatherâs confession. He says they should all be getting back to work since idle hands are the devilâs workshop.
Finn and Hayden are getting busy and thereâs a knock at the door. Finn says they donât need any towels, but it’s Tracy. She asks if thatâs any way to treat her after he asked her for a huge favor. Hayden tells him to ignore it, but he canât. Tracy asks what he was doing and then sees Hayden. She says last nightâs social engagement took an unexpected social turn, and asks if he ended up jousting for her hand.
Alexis is on the phone telling someone that sheâs with the girls, but sheâs really swilling wine.
Nina says Julian stole the fruit basket and Julian tells her that he delivered it personally to Sonny. Sheâs surprised heâs still breathing.
Max tells Jason that he needs to stop Sonny now, before he starts to spiral. Sam comes in with Danny in a pirate costume. Max leaves, telling Jason to think about what he said. Sam steers Danny to cookies in the kitchen, and asks Jason why Max was there. Jason says Max is worried about Sonny and he is too.
Sonny wants to know what Ava was talking about. He asks what she knows that he doesnât. She says she knows something about Morgan that she hasnât told him.
Jordan tells Franco sheâll look into the possibility, but does he really expect her to believe Heather escaped from prison and came back? Franco says its his mother theyâre talking about, but Jordan says the tape doesnât prove anything.
Tracy says she told Finn to stay out of it, but obviously he didnât listen. She asks if he hit Haydenâs date with a club and dragged her back by the hair. Hayden says she doesnât need saving, and Tracy says thatâs what she told Finn. Tracy asks if Hayden seduced him and if she expects her job back because theyâre all lovey-dovey. She says sheâd have had more respect for Hayden if sheâd just asked.
Scotty suggests the only one responsible is Sonny. Ava says Morgan thought Kiki was breaking up with him; he was drinking and obviously out of control. She says she tried to reason with him and stop him, but he wouldnât listen. She was one of the last people to see Morgan alive, and canât stop thinking about what she should have done. She says his death isnât entirely Sonnyâs fault. Sonny walks away, and Scotty tells Ava that was good. She screeches at him that heâs the one who stopped her from going after Morgan.
Alexis says sheâs spending quality time together with the girls and acts like she has to go. She hangs up and runs into Sonny. He hands her a drink. He says the last time he saw Morgan, he was so angry that he couldnât even look at him. Sonny says he should have told Morgan that it was okay and he would always be there for him. Alexis says thereâs no way he could have known what was going to happen. Sonny says that Morgan was drowning and hurting, but he told Morgan that he was disappointed in him and let him go out the door. Alexis puts her arm around him.
Jason talks about when Sonnyâs first wife Lily died, and how he just did whatever Sonny needed until he came out of it, but the second time, Sonny was diagnosed as bi-polar and got medication, which finally leveled him out. Sam wonders if Sonny is going to break down again. Jason says he has to stop it, and asks about their plans to move. Sam says it can wait. Their family needs them. Sheâs never seen Sonny break down, but losing Morgan, especially if he had a hand in it, has to be the worst pain of his life.
Tracy says so Hayden just happened to spend the night and she gets a call from Finn? Hayden doesnât know anything about it. Finn says Hayden is great at ELQ and Tracy is letting their history interfere. Hayden thinks he did this to get rid of her.
Jordan is going to look for actual proof, but as it stands, she canât close the case. Franco has figured out which guard helped Heather, and produces a canceled check made out to a guard named Rob who bought a condo recently. He shows Jordan a car rental agreement for Heather, and also has a confession from low level drug dealer who sold the drug to the guard. Elizabeth canât believe he did all this. He says he wouldnât know what heâd do without her if she moves to Rochester.
Sam says it wonât bring Morgan back if Jason finds the broker. Jason says it might calm down Sonny though.
Ava says she was worried about Morgan and Scotty stopped her. Scotty says sheâs the one who switched the meds because she wanted Morgan and Kiki to break up, and she succeeded. She says she told Morgan that Kiki was with Dillon, and she set him up to be jealous. All she was trying to do was protect her daughter. She starts to cry and Scotty awkwardly hugs her.
Julian asks if Nina would miss him. She says she doesnât like him, but she doesnât wish him dead. He didnât destroy her life, he only dismantled the magazine. He says he has a long way to go before working his way back to Alexis. Nina says try never. He says Alexis means everything to him, and if he can redeem himself to his children, things might change.
Alexis tells Sonny that she canât imagine what heâs going through. She says all the cousins were close growing up, and Sonny was a big part in bringing them together. She says he gave Morgan a good life. Sonny says Carly doesnât think so, and tells Alexis that she left. He says Michael blames him too, and Dante is looking for evidence against him. Alexis says Kristina blames Julian, and Sonny asks what about her?
Tracy says she was considering rehiring Hayden, but now she wouldnât have her clean floors. She tells Finn the next time he wants a favor, try something simple, like smuggling drugs. After she leaves, Hayden says Finn should have just asked her to get out of his life.
Franco asks Jordan if its the final piece of the puzzle.
Danny brings out a book and Sam says itâs a grown-up book. She explains mommy and daddy are having a baby and heâs going to have a little brother or sister. Danny says itâs way better than a puppy and asks if they can name the baby Scout.
Scotty tells Ava that she has to live with what she did. Heâs her lawyer and her friend, and doesnât want her stuck. He says they all have regrets.
Alexis tells Sonny that this all started because of the mess she made. If sheâd done her job, Julian would be in prison and this wouldnât have happened. Sonny says Julian offered a truce because heâs afraid Sonny is going to kill him. Alexis asks if he is, and Sonny asks if she wants another drink. She says she has to go home. She says what happened to Morgan is a tragedy, but not one single person is to blame, not even Sonny. She kisses his forehead and leaves.
Ava and Scotty come outside. Sonny says, there’s the reason his son is dead.
Finn tells Hayden to explain how him asking Tracy to give her a job is getting rid of her. She says heâs pushing her away in the kindest way possible. Finn says he doesnât want to be her cause. She says he canât let himself feel anything for any woman except his wife.
Tracy asks Jordan if thereâs been any progress. Jordan tells Tracy about Heather.
Elizabeth tells Franco heâs a good man; he gave her back her health and her livlihood. She asks how he got he drug dealer to talk. He says at the risk of alienating her, there are times when he can appear reverted to his old ways and the bad man thought he was badder. He asks if that bothers her.
Nina tells Julian that Alexis was on trial for a murder he committed and then he tried to kill her. He says Alexis loves him. Nina sees Alexis at the bar and says she doesnât look like a woman in love. She tells Julian to leave Alexis alone for once.

Finn says he watched Hayden as she slept and he felt happier and more alive since any day after his wife died. It did scare him, and maybe he thought he was betraying his wife, but he wanted to give Hayden something better to focus on than him. He says when she woke up and kissed him, he wasnât thinking about anything except her. She says his wife keeps him in limbo, so he doesnât have to give himself to anyone, including her. She leaves.
Tracy wants to know when she can open the hospital again. Jordan says sheâll let her know as soon as possible. Tracy asks what detective she should thank, but Jordan says it wasnât anyone from the police department. When Tracy asks what civic-minded civilian gave them back the hospital, Jordan tells her to thank Franco.
Elizabeth says she knows how Franco was, and who he could still be. He tells her about overhearing her with Laura and she asks if he heard her say that she was falling for him. He tells her that he fell for her a long time ago. They kiss.
Julian walks up to Alexis. He says he was unsure how to approach her, and tells her that he was almost killed, like she doesnât know. Alexis says Morgan was in the wrong place at the wrong time and is dead because of him.
Danny tells his parents that babies donât do much. Sam says at first, but later he can build pillow forts with Scout. Jason says Danny can help them keep baby safe, and Sam says thatâs what families do. Danny runs off to make a picture for Scout. Ava texts Jason, saying that Sonny is in trouble.
Sonny says Scotty hates him because he canât hate anyone else, and has to put it somewhere. Scotty says that Sonnyâs son was collateral damage, and he needs to look in the mirror. Sonny goes for Scottyâs throat.
Tomorrow, Maxie looks for Claudette, Nell tells Michael that Sonny might not make it, and Jason stops Sonny from strangling Scotty.
If Loving You is Wrong
I tune in a little late. Steven is questioning Brad. Steven shoves a picture of a baby at Brad, who claims he killed the baby. Then he says he doesnât know where the baby and Alex are. He talks about Iraq and following orders. He says Randal is the reason heâs there, but he didnât kidnap Randal or the baby. Steven thinks itâs weird that he hasnât asked about Alex. He says sheâs missing, and Brad asks if sheâs been kidnapped too. Steven says sheâs not kidnapped but sheâs looking for her lover and baby. Brad reaches across the table and grabs Steven. Steven says thatâs the Brad heâs looking for.
Brad says this has to stop. Steven says Brad’s wife running around with the guy next door must make him mad. Brad says heâs not saying anymore, but Steven says keep talking, confession is good for the soul. Brad tells Steven if he wants to put him in cuffs, go ahead. Steven brings up that Randal is Black and Brad wonders why that should matter. Steven says he knows plenty of guys who wouldnât blame Brad for bashing Randalâs head in. Brad says heâs not saying another word until he gets a lawyer. Steven says if heâd talked, it would have gone a long way with the DA. Outside, Steven tells an officer to just go in and stand next to Brad and see if heâll say something. The officer is Black and Steven hints around that Brad is a racist.
Esperanza tells Marcie and Kelly that Brad just asked for a lawyer. Kelly says if he was innocent he wouldnât asks for one, but Esperanza says thatâs exactly why he should have one. Otherwise he could get railroaded by the system. Marcie asks if she thinks heâs innocent, and Esperanza says she has other thoughts. Marcie says she keeps vacillating back and forth. She wonders how she could be so wrong about two men that she loves. Kelly asks if she loves Brad and she says yes. She didnât realize it until tonight and asks them not to judge her. Marcie says Brad couldnât have done this and asks how two people could create all this hell. Two people, one choice, and look where they are. Kelly says they all have blame in this. Marcie slept with Brad, and she and Esperanza wouldnât get invovled. Marcie says their world has been thrown upside down and she wants it to stop. She wishes she could go back in time. Kelly tells them her mother used to say the wages of sin is death and she finally gets it. When things like this happen, the good things around us die.
Marcie gets upset about leading the police to Brad and insists he didnât do it. Esperanza asks who did. Marcie says someone who hates the situation as much as they do. Esperanza says be careful or sheâll incriminate herself. She says the cops are like dogs digging up old bones when they want someone to blame. Marcie wants to do something and not just sit around. She wants to see Louise. Kelly says they will, but stay put right now. Esperanza wants to go to the station and see what else she can find out. She asks Kelly to walk her to the car.
Seriously, where is Randal? Did the actor leave the show or something?
On the porch, Esperanza tells Kelly she doesnât think that Brad did it. Kelly says who then? Esperanza suggests Alexâs parents. For one, theyâre racists. She says Miss Louise said it was the man next door; she didn’t specify Brad. She reminds Kelly about how they mixed up her and Alex when someone said “the woman next door.” She thinks Alex called her parents out of desperation. Kelly tells her to let the police know, but Esperanza wants to be sure. Kelly insists she should say something. Esperanza says if Alex called her parents, it could make her an accessory and she could get in a lot of trouble. She says people who are desperate do crazy things, but if Alex didnât do it, the police will try to charge her anyway, so she canât just go in with accusations. She says sheâll try to get more information, and sheâll talk to the captain if she canât find out anything.
Eddie is still sitting in his car. He tells Esperanza that heâs keeping his eye on the only witness. Esperanza wants to know how to get to Alexâs parents and he tells her to take a left on Hillbilly Road. She tells him thereâs a baby involved and heâs acting like an idiot. She points out that the people involved are his relatives. He asks how she would know that. She says she has a feeling. Eddie says most of the time the police go on facts. She asks if heâs going to help her or not. He asks how heâs suppsoed to know anything? He says he knew Uncle Rusty would work his way in there somewhere and this just gets better and better. Esperanza says if this baby dies, itâs all his fault and she hopes his conscience eats him alive. What conscience? He says it would be Alex and Randalâs fault for committing adultery. Esperanza says he cheated a lot when he was married, but he says he was cheating with her. She says sheâs paying for it and sheâll get the real police to help her.
Esperanza tells Kelly that Eddie won’t tell her where Alex’s parents live. Kelly asks whatâs wrong with him, and Esperanza says everything. Kelly tells Eddie heâs sick and Eddie makes remarks about the men in Kellyâs life. Esperanza gets in her car and Eddie leaves.
The truck driver drops Alex off, asking if sheâs sure he doesnât want her to call someone. She says sheâll be fine.
Pete tries to get up, but the nurse tells him to lie down. She says if he doesnât, sheâll have to restrain him. He asks why thereâs a guy sitting outside and she says he has protection because he was shot. He asks by who, and she says heâll have to ask an officer. She leaves and Pete dreams about what happened before he got shot and how Ben was nowhere when he needed help. He jerks awake and reaches for the phone.
Lushionâs phone rings. Itâs Pete. Lushion says itâs not a good time. Pete says he knows who shot him. It was a gang of guys and Ben just watched. Lushion asks what else he remembers and Pete says he has to get out of there. He says the guy outside of his room is working for the gang, but Lushion says heâs okay; heâs FBI. Pete asks how Lushion knows, and Lushion says somebody put him there for Pete. He asks Pete what he remembers about the tape from the convenience store. Pete says he saw Eddie shooting Benâs hand off. Lushion asks what he did with the tape, and Pete says he gave it to Natalie and gave the copies to the captain who said heâd take care of it. After that, he was moved to the south side and got shot. He says heâs scared, but Lushion says, donât be. He has to take care of something and then heâll come check on him. Lushion goes back to Natalie.
The nurse tells Pete that he needs to rest. She gives Pete something to help him sleep, and he keeps saying he canât sleep and she doesnât understand. She tells him goodnight. He says heâs not going to sleep, but she says she bets he will.
Natalie tells Lushion that the pill is wearing off and she needs to know whatâs happening with Joey. Sheâs losing patience. A doctor approaches them, introducing himself as Dr. Norton. He says Joey isnât in the best condition. He has less than a 12% chance of making it. Natalie says there is hope, but the doctor says his heart and liver are damaged. Lushion asks if theyâve done everything they can, and he says yes; the only thing they can do is wait. He says if Joey recovers, it could take months. If he makes it through the night, his chances will improve, but the doctor doesnât think itâs going to happen.
The doctor wants to ask Lushion something but Lushion blows him off. Natalie wants to know what the question is and Lushion says heâs going to ask about organ donation. The doctor says they have 12 people waiting for organs and Joey could save a lot of people. Natalie asks if theyâre Black, but the doctor says heâs not sure. She wants to know if heâs just saving organs for some rich kid at the expense of hers. Lushion tells her not to take it out on the doctor. He says they shouldn’t think theyâre going to lose Joey, but they have to consider organ donation. Natalie says she doesnât want her son to die. She wants to ask the doctor if they can see him. Iâm sure heâll want to do her a favor after she just insulted him and practically called him a racist and a liar.
Pete asks the nurse what she gave him. She says a sedative. He keeps saying he canât sleep, as he falls asleep. The door opens. Oh crap, itâs Eddie. I thought Lushion said that was an FBI guy outside. Eddie tells Pete to rest. Pete mumbles something and Eddie says itâs okay.
Itâs Randal in a box! He hears the baby crying and hollers like a banshee. The box is moved and dropped. He pounds at it, and someone opens it and punches him. Hmm…I wonder if this is like when Suzanne Sommers had a beef with Three’s Company and her only scenes were brief and alone.
Next time, Alexâs car is found, Lushion questions the FBIÂ guy, and Marcie passes out.
Below Deck
Captain Lee radios Kelley. He says the fiasco with the pool was an embarrassment. He says itâs not rocket science. He doesnât want Kelley doing what he thinks is right, but what heâs told to. He says they donât always have the luxury of extra time.
Ben makes the usual fabulous breakfast. Emily is seeing Ben in a different light and noticing the sweet side. Kate says sheâs never seen Ben so nervous around a girl as Emily. The crew sets up the dreaded slide. Nico feels like Captain Lee is boring holes in them while watching.
Kate prepares for the guestsâ party. She tells Ben sheâs doing a Vegas theme and asks if heâd be Elvis. Heâs not too receptive. Kelley asks primary guest Steve if he still wants to do some golfing. He does, so the captain tells Kelley how to set up the mat on deck. Heâs getting irritated that he has to instruct Kelley about everything. Lauren says she understands why the captain is on Kelleyâs ass, but since sheâs been in that postion, she feels sorry for him. Steve golfs with one of the other guests.
Kate asks Nico to be Elvis. She radios Kelley, asking him to be the Chippendale. The guests are impressed with the table setting. Emily hasnât told Kelley that sheâs going out with Ben since she doesnât want to wreck their friendship. I’m thinking it might wreck their friendship unless she does tell him.
Dinner is equally as fabulous as breakfast. Afterward, Kate directs the guests to the dance party. Elvis gets them in the mood. The guests do some dancing and everyone looks like theyâre having a great time. In his interview, Ben says Emily has him rattled and he canât wait for their date. Emily tells Kate pretty much the same thing.
Wow. Another breakfast is happening. All we do on this trip is eat. Steve says heâs glad his new fiance has tiny fingers since the ring looks bigger. Kyle talks to Kate and Ben in the galley about how he was a starving artist at one time. Well, a juggler who followed a girl to London, but then she left him for a rich doctor. In her interview, Kate says she loves when people have no apologies for who they are. I agree. Not everybody is going to like you regardless, so you might as well live honestly.
Kate tells Sierra she should give Kyle a chance. She says the lengths he went to for love are mind blowing. Sierra suggests Kate go out with him, but she says she loves Ro. Wasnât Sierra here last week?
The guests were thrilled with the trip and Steve lays a fat envelope on Captain Lee. Kelley is psyched to go out, thinking heâs going to spend time with Emily. The crew gathers in the mess for tip time. Kelley keeps leaning on Emily, and in her interview, Emily says that clearly Kelley hasnât gotten the memo that sheâs going out with Ben because heâs lounging on her. The captain tells them that interior nailed it, but there were a few hiccups with the crew, and uses the word “proactive” again. The take is $15,000, $1350 each. Sierra says not too shabby for approximately fifteen hours of work. The captain expects Kyle and Sierra to make up the fishing trip time, but the crew is off for the evening.
Oh, I see. This isnât a fishing trip like I was thinking. Itâs a chartered boat where Kyle and Sierra are having cocktails. He talks about dinner later. Nico asks Emily if she has plans for tonight and she says sheâs going to dinner with Ben. In her interview, Lauren says Kelley is going to flip and sheâs staying out of it.
Kyle and Sierra sit in the fishing chair together. In her interview, Sierra says that Kyle is aggressive with his flirting, but she still wants to get to know him.
In his interview, Nico points out that Ben rooms with Kelley and itâs a bad situation. Ben asks Kyle how the date went, and he says Sierra kept texting a male friend. I know she didnât want him to think it was a date, but thatâs pretty rude. Kate is the one who ends up telling Kelley that Emily is going out with Ben. When they meet for dinner, Ben tells Emily that her dress is snazzy. Kelley gossips about Ben to Kyle, saying he has a different girl every season. Kyle tells him about Sierraâs texting and Kelley thinks heâs foolish to take her to dinner and manages to talk him out of it. What I think is that Kelley is worried heâs going to end up with Nico and Lauren all night. No girl for you!
The town is beautiful. Ben and Emily go to a fancy restaurant. Ben says he doesnât like dill and Iâm shocked. I love dill. Sierra talks about her family and how independent she was at a young age. Ben says his family was glad to get him out of the country. Ha-ha! In her interview, Emily says she enjoys Benâs company; itâs easy and natural
Kelley insists to Lauren and Kyle that Sierra has a boyfriend. Lauren relays the information to Sierra about Kyle and Kelley’s gripes. Sierra asks Kelley if heâs upset with her. He says she didnât tell Kyle the truth about wanting to just be friends, and he’s upset because she played Kyle. She says he absolutely knew how she felt. Kelley starts walking away and Sierra says she isnât done. She decides not to go to dinner with them because Kelley wants to cause drama. Kate asks what the problem is and tells Kelley its none of his business. Sierra says sheâs only been nice to him. Kate tells Sierra heâs taking his jealousy out on her because Emily went out with Ben. In her interview, Kate says Kelley hasnât mastered the art of handling rejection.
Emily tells Ben it was a breath of fresh air to have him ask her out and sheâs glad he did. Ben says heâs glad heâs sitting there and not Kelley. Emily says her too. They toast to Kelley…not being there.
Kate tells Sierra that Kelley is acting like a junior high school girl. The go to the bar where the rest of the crew is, and Ben and Emily show up. Kelley wanders off with Lauren. Sierra talks about how overbearing Kelley is. Kyle tells Sierra that he thinks she’s amazing, but she hurt him, so letâs call it a day now and get on with our lives. In his interview, Nico says itâs super awkward and heâs stuck in the middle of a bunch of emotions. He gets a pizza to go. Sierra tells Kyle sheâs sorry and they hug it out. In his interview, Kyle says if Sierra ever comes knocking, the door is closed.
Nico, Kelley and Lauren go back to the boat with the pizza. Ben comes back to the table to find only Emily.
Captain Lee tells Kate that he has an issue with the pizza trail on the way to his quarters. He says he expects Kate will deal with it accordingly. She says things are out of control.
Nico finds the sandwich make on and smoking in the galley. He runs upstairs and out on deck with it wrapped in a towel. Captain Lee wonders whatâs going on and Nico says someone left the toaster on and it’s smoking.. Kate says she just got the captain calmed down. She asks Nico whatâs going on and he says he found it that way and has no idea who left it on.
Lauren is squinty drunk and tries to talk to Nico. Kelley thinks heâs being thrown under the bus, since he got accused of leaving the sandwich maker on by default.
Ben and Emily talk to each other in French. In her interview, Emily thinks there are real feelings. Ben says they have chemistry and hopes they can continue this.
Lauren sings on deck. Kate talks to Kelley and says the sandwich maker was a sadety issue and theyâll talk in the morning when everyone is clear headed.
Still to come this season, Kyle does drag and might be transgender, Ben calls Emily “the jewel of he Caribbean,” Nico butts heads with Kate, a hated guest returns, Kate has long distance relationship issues, Kelley and Sierra have it out, Kelley and Nico have it out, and Kelley and Captain Lee have it out.
What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
General Hospital
Sonny asks Carly to come home with him, saying they need each other now more than ever. They almost kiss and the doorbell rings. Itâs Dante. He was at the crash site. Carly asks if he found any trace of Morgan. He pulls out an evidence bag.
Finn watches Hayden sleep. He tells her itâs time to wake up; itâs the afternoon. She jumps up in fighting mode.
Anna looks at Valentinâs dossier. Griff asks if she knows him. She says no, but something is familiar. Sheâs never met him, but she recognizes something about his face. Laura approaches, having overheard them. Anna introduces her to Griff. Charlotte comes over to the table, and Anna explains to Laura that thereâs a connection between Valentin and Claudetteâs mother. Laura says from her experience, Valentin will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
Claudette insists to Nathan that the room had been ransacked. Nathan picks up a bracelet. Itâs Maxieâs. He asks what the hell is going on and where is Maxie?
Maxie talks to herself, saying itâs not her fault The Beard is incompetent and took her by mistake. She says this isnât the way itâs going to end. Sheâs the daughter of Frisco and Felicia Jones and thereâs got to be a way out.
Dante takes the jade necklace that Carly gave Morgan out of the bag. He tells Carly to keep it since they donât need it as evidence. She tells them how sheâd told him that it promotes peace and wisdom. (Well, that didnât work.) Sonny asks if Dante has any evidence that might show Morgan is still alive. Carly asks if thatâs possible, but Dante says they have nothing, although they’re continuing to canvas the area. He says theyâre going to bring whoever did this to justice, and asks if Carly needs any help with the funeral. Carly wonders if thereâs going to be enough time for them to get something they can actually bury.
Hayden asks what Finn is doing there. He says technically he lives there. She apologizes, saying when she wakes up in a strange room, her first instinct is to defend herself. He gives her some aspirin and says she should feel better in about a half hour. I dunno about that. She tells Finn that heâs a prince among men and Iâm surprised he doesnât make a joke about Nicholas. She says sheâs a little fuzzy about last night and he shows her the check, asking if it rings any bells.
Laura tells Griff that regardless of the situation, theyâve been given the best gift anyone can receive, meaning a child. Doc arrives and she excuses herself. He tells her she looks great, but she thinks she dressed for dinner, not lunch. He says if all goes well, maybe they can have dinner next time. I was thinking if it goes well, lunch could turn into dinner. Lots of missed dialogue opportunities today.
Griff wonders why Valentin seems familiar to Anna. She says thereâs something about his eyes, but since heâs been accused of just about everything, sheâd remember if she had met him. She says heâs a mercenary, lethal, and smart, since up until Cassadine Island, he flew under the radar. Griff feels badly about Claudette, and blames himself for her turning to Valentin.
Nathan asks Claudette how Maxieâs bracelet ended up there, but she has no clue. She says sheâs been busy introducing Charlotte to her father, and Nathan says, which one? BA-DUM-CHH! Nathan puts two and two together, and realizes that someone must have kidnapped Maxie thinking she was Claudette.
Maxie gets out of the duct tape and runs upstairs. The door is locked. She needs to pick the lock and looks for something to use. Did she turn that furnace off? That would be my first move. She finds a cell phone that has power.
Nathan calls the hotel office to get security footage. He explains that Maxie is missing and the hotel was her last known location. Dante shows up and says Maxieâs car is still in the parking lot. Maxie calls Nathanâs phone.
Doc makes up something crazy on the menu to see if Laura is listening. She tells him sorry; she heard Anna talking about Valentin and itâs distracted her.
Griff fills Anna in on what happened between him, Claudette and Nathan. He wonders how their lives would be different if heâd been supportive of her. Anna wonders why Claudette didnât tell him that she was pregnant.
Nathan asks whose phone sheâs using, but she doesnât know. He says heâll come and get her, but she doesnât know where she is either. She says sheâs in a basement with no windows, and the door is locked. He asks her if she noticed anything on the drive, and she says she was in the trunk of the car. Nathan tells her theyâll trace the call, but she says she doesnât think she can wait. The Beard broke something and gas is leaking into the room. I still canât believe the daughter of Frisco and Felicia Jones canât figure out something to do there. Thereâs a lot of stuff on those shelves. She should be MacGyvering this.
Hayden tells Finn that scamming is in her blood…or not. She has to keep reminding herself sheâs Jeff Webberâs daughter, not Raymond Berlinâs. She asks what Finn is going to use the money for and how many test tubes it will buy. He says he canât accept the check.
Sonny tells Carly he was wrong and he knows it, and heâd change it if he could, but it doesnât mean they canât honor their sonâs memory together. Carly says a burned necklace is all they have to bury, and unless he can go back in time, she canât help him. She has nothing for him and canât grieve with him or even look at him.
Kiki enters with what is sure to be bad timing. Sheâs sorry about Morgan, but also about all the times she hurt him, and every stupid argument they ever had. Most of all she hates that before Morgan died, he was in pain because of her. She wants them to know that she loved him and always will. Carly asks what she meant by causing him pain on his last night. She wants to know her sonâs final moments.
Hayden is shocked Finn doesnât want to accept the check after all she went through to get it. He says it was an impressive feat, but Evan wrote the check because he thought he slept with her. He asks what if Evan comes back for seconds, or worse, realizes she tricked him. She says men are easy to fool, and heâs probably bragging to his buddies right now. She says the last thing she expected was Finn breaking down the door and it was pretty awesome. She remembers accusing Finn of wanting to sleep with her himself.
Laura doesnât want to think about Valentin. She says heâs in prison and Spencer is safe in school. She wants to concentrate on what really matters, their date. Doc says that works for him.
Charlotte interrupts Anna and Griff, saying she wants her mommy. Griff wonders whatâs taking so long.
Nathan tries to get Maxie to remember anything about the drive – how long it was and if they drove over anything like train tracks. She says it was smooth the entire way, but recalls hearing “that annoying song.” She tells Nathan itâs a place they drive past where he always wants to get hot dogs. The phone goes dead.
Sonny asks what Carly is doing, and she says she needs to know. Kiki says Morgan thought there was something going on between her and Dillon. He thought he saw them having sex, and even though sheâs never had sex with Dillon, it set him off. Carly says she saw them kiss in the park and asks if Kiki was sneaking around. Kiki admits she was going to break up with Morgan. Carly makes her say it louder. Kiki says she went to their house to do it face to face, but Morgan wasnât home. Carly says she canât blame herself for his death, but she can blame herself for not being there for him in his hour of need, and for doing the one thing that Carly asked her not to. I hate to point this out to Carly, but Kiki might have been there for him if heâd bothered answering his phone or was at home instead of the bar. Carly says that Kiki swore she loved Morgan and would stand by him. She insults Kiki and slaps her. She says she wants Kiki out. Sonny gathers Kiki into his arms and hugs her.
Hayden says she canât believe she suggested that Finn wanted to sleep with her. Finn says alcohol lowers inhibitions, and he canât count the times heâs woken up and wanted to be put out of his misery. She says go ahead and tell her heâs not interested.
Laura tells Doc that thereâs only one thing they can do – schedule another date. They have to keep doing it until they get it right. Aw, I’m glad she’s trying with him again.
Griff wonders where Claudette is and says heâll go check. Anna plays a game on her phone with Charlotte.
Maxie is passed out, but Nathan arrives in time and brings her upstairs.
Claudette is packing. Griff knocks at the door. She hides the suitcase and answers. She says she thought someone was following her, but it was a false alarm. He wants her to go back downstairs; Charlotte is wondering what happened. She says Charlotte will be fine. Griff is a wonderful father who will take good care of her. He asks if sheâ going to leave her daughter and run.
Nathan tells Maxie to come around for Georgieâs sake.
Kiki says everything Carly says is true. Sonny says Carlyâs pain is bigger than anything Kiki has done or could do. Kiki says she screwed up, but she loved Morgan. Sonny says she cared for him more than he cared for himself. Heâs happy that Morgan experienced that kind of love.
Griff asks how Claudette can abandon her daughter? She says itâs the only way to keep her safe, and that Valentinâs reach is long, even in jail. Griff says he got Anna to help them and asks Claudette to trust him. She says okay, she will. He says letâs go and she goes to get her purse. While heâs looking elsewhere, she smacks Griff over the head with a paperweight and grabs her stuff. She says sheâs sorry and take care of Charlotte. She leaves him there unconscious.
Finn says to be clear, Hayden just asked him to confirm he has no romantic interest in her. She says she can take it; sheâs the type who likes the band-aid ripped off fast. He says he is interested, very interested, but it doesnât change that the two of them pursuing a relationship is a bad idea, because he wonât be around. She says she just got him a big check, but he says it doesnât work that way. (That’s not how any of this works!) Hayden tells him that she knows sheâs taking a risk, but in case he didnât notice, she likes taking risks. They kiss.
Sonny says Morgan wanted the best for Kiki and would want her to move on. She thanks him and leaves. Carly asks Sonny if he thinks she wasnât being fair. He says he knows sheâs grieving, but Kiki did lead Morgan on and quit on him. He adds that sheâs a kid though, and it does no good to tear her down. He says they know who sheâs really mad at. She says sheâs mad at everyone, right down to PCU expelling Morgan without giving him a chance to explain (because the rules donât apply to him). It changes nothing though – she wonât get to hear him laugh anymore, or get to hold her baby anymore. She says she canât do this with Sonny, because when she looks at him, she sees the man who killed her son. She tells him to go. Dammit!
Hayden says she had Finn all wrong. Heâs willing to take risks too. He says she ainât seen nuthinâ yet. They get busy.
Griff comes to. He realizes what happened.
Anna asks Charlotte if they should check on Griff.
Nathan cancels the ambulance, but wants Maxie to be checked out. Dante goes to help find the perp. Maxie asks how Nathan found her, and he says via the hot dog place.
Griff calls the hotel office and asks for the surveillance camera to be checked . They’re being kept very busy today. Anna comes to the door, and Griff says he guesses Claudette is skipping town.
Claudette gets on a plane. The seat next to her is empty. You know whatâs going to happen, right?
Doc says heâs been thinking about something that Laura said when she got the key. If she pursued it or not, it would haunt her. Laura says Helena is dead, Valentin is in jail, and no one can touch her. After all these years, apparently Laura still lives in a foolâs paradise.
Claudette hears someone singing softly. Valentin sits next to her. He says she has something she stole from him. (Hmm…could Charlotte be his?)
Tomorrow, Nina is surprised Julian is still alive, Alexis apologizes to Sonny, and Ava is concerned about being killed.
The Real Housewives of the OC
Iâve pretty much decided I donât like anyone on this show. I donât mind Kelly, but she needs to stay away from alcohol. Sheâs a big girl and shouldnât feel pressured by the others to drink. Not that it excuses them from being the d-bags they were last week. Vicki is harmless, but I don’t know what her problem is that she sleepwalks through the drama and pretends it doesn’t exist. The both of them seem like they mean well, even if ultimately they cause a ruckus. I canât say that about the others.
On the bus to the airport, Heather says, Iâm rubber youâre glue. Actually, she declares that nothing Kelly says can hurt her, because Kelly is trash. In her interview, Meghan says she sees how Kelly has become an easy target for the women to prod and see what they can get out of her. OMG – Meghan is suddenly the wise one. She wants to stand up for Kelly, but doesnât know exactly what happened. Shannon starts screeching at Vicki for not contributing to the conversation, if thatâs what weâre calling it. Kelly feels that Vicki abandoned her and Kelly lets fly some things that Vicki told her about Shannon, one of them being that Vicki is afraid of David because he beats his wife.
Heather gets up like the schoolteacher she is, finger wagging, and says thatâs enough. Shannon stars bawling and saying he does not. Apparently this is the secret that Vicki was holding onto a couple of episodes ago. Tamra jumps in, saying Vicky has said things about Eddie, and literally screams F-U in Vickiâs face, like two inches away. Tamra claims that Vicki said Eddie is gay. I donât remember her ever saying that, but now that she mentions it…just kidding. I think. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. In her interview, Heather says Vicki shouldnât have told Kelly anything, even though Kelly is the one that blurted it out. In her interview, Meghan says sheâs disappointed in Heather, whoâs deflecting her own role in the situation. I know the feeling.
Back in the OC, Shannon is unpacking. Sheâs upset that one of the best trips of her life was ruined on the airport bus. I feel sorry for her if that was one of the best trips of her life even before then. Tamra comes by the new house. She has to concentrate on the competition and doesnât know if sheâs ready. She told her mom about what went on during the trip. Shannon asks what her status with Vicki is. Tamra says Eddie just laughed it off, but she feels like Vicki wants to present her as being in a bad marriage. Shannon is like, ditto. She says Vicki wants to âattack their menâ because of Brooks.
Vicki tells Briana that it was a great trip and they all got along well (!). I’m not sure if Vicki is on medication or has some ability to be in a different dimension. She tells Briana about Tamra thinking she said Eddie is gay, but doesn’t remember saying anything like that. In her interview, Briana says her mother is a dirty fighter. Briana tells Vicki that when other people are hurting, she only focuses on it for a minute, and then turns things back to herself. Vicki says she wants peace, and Briana says she needs to acknowledge it when she hurts someoneâs feelings, but Vicki is tired of apologizing. It’s like they’re having two different conversations.
Tamra says sheâs putting Vicki out of her mind. Shannon says she has nothing to say to Vicki. If she sees her, sheâs leaving the room. Oooh, there’s a threat.
Kelly talks to Michael about the women provoking her on the way to the airport. She says Heather is the puppet and everyone is the master, but Willy Wonka would tell her to strike that and reverse it. She says she was pushed and repeated what Vicki told her about David beating the crap out of Shannon. Michael is like, whoa, and asks if it’s true, but Kelly says she doesn’t know and it’s none of her business. Good one. She says she stuck by Vicki when the rest of the women put her through crap, but then Vicki was silent when she needed support. Michael says maybe Kelly should take baby steps and mend things with Vicki. He says every relationship is different and sheâll have to have a different plan for each. For once, he actually makes sense. Itâs like the bizarro OC.
Tamra gets her competition outfits – a bejeweled turquoise bikini, and a pink and black leather bikini bottom and crop top. She tells Mia about what happened on the trip with Kelly, leaving out a lot of her own part in it. In her interview, she says enough is enough with Vicki. Mia tells her that she has to forgive as many times as it takes. We flash back to Tamra and Vicki apologizing to one another at various times. Tamra says she wants to forgive Vicki about as much as she wants to put on the tiny clothing. Which is not at all.
Kelly meets Meghan, who is wearing an awesome faux fur vest. Meghan asks how sheâs been doing since the trip. In her interview, Meghan says Kellyâs behavior wasnât acceptable, but sheâs not going to ditch her. Kelly wonders what she did, and Meghan says she wasnât exactly tactful. Kelly asks if Meghan thinks what the others said to her was okay. Meghan says no, but the power is in Kellyâs hands to move on. She tells Kelly that she should have just ridden it out. Kelly wants to talk to Tamra first, since sheâs reached out before, and is trying to be a better person. Meghan tells Kelly sheâll always be there to support her.
Kelly invites Vicki over. Vicki says she thought they had an amazing trip (sound of cuckoo clock in my head). Kelly says she felt like Vicki wasnât the same. Sheâs defended Vicki, but Vicki didnât return the favor. Vicki says she wanted to stay neutral and let Kelly to fight her own battle. How nice of her. She says if she took Kelly’s side, the other women would turn on her, but if she took their side, she was abandoning Kelly. They talk about Shannon and Tamra encouraging Kelly to drink. Vicki says she told Kelly not to drink, but we flash back and that isnât the case at all. Quite the opposite. Kelly talks about Heather putting in her two cents and how she was the puppet master. Vicki says not with her, but Kelly isnât buying it. Kelly says Vicki went through it, so why didnât she say something when they ganged up on her? She says she was backed into a corner and no one was defending her. Vicki says she was mending fences and she doesnât want to be excluded or have Kelly excluded. In her interview, Vicki admits she was wrong. She apologizes to Kelly and says she was just recovering from her own hell. In her interview, Kelly says she doesnât like what Vicki did, but she understands her position.
Vicki calls Tamra. Tamra remarks that the trip ended badly. Vicki thinks alcohol fueled a lot of it, and that Shannon was out of line. Tamra says Shannon was hurt, and Vicki says they all were. Ugh! Itâs one of those âwe were all drinking” excuses. Vicki asks if itâs okay if she comes to Tamra’s competition and the eating party afterward. In her interview, Tamra says she knows the Christian thing is to forgive, and decides Vicki can come.
Tamra meets Kelly for lunch. A lettuce leaf and a glass of water. In her interview, Tamra wants to move on with Kelly, but needs to know where her heart is. They talk about the competition and Tamraâs preparation. Kelly tells Tamra that she was 100% wrong. Tamra says when Kelly talked about her daughter, it put her in a bad place. Kelly says she didnât want to hurt Tamra and apologizes. Tamra says sheâs disappointed in herself, and had she not been drinking, she wouldnât have pushed Kelly. They talk about forgiveness. The food comes, looking surprisingly more substantial than a lettuce leaf. Kelly tells Tamra that Vicki really loves her. Tamra says sheâs over it. Kelly wonders why Shannon is so upset, and Tamra says Shannon once confided in Vicki, and Vicki needs to keep her mouth shut. Kelly talks about Shannon pressing the alcohol on her, but Tamra thinks she should apologize for repeating what Vicki said. Kelly is torn about Shannon, but says sheâs tired of Heather being the puppetmaster and everyone seeming scared of her. Tamra tells Kelly theyâre all going to be at the competition and she doesnât want any drama. Kelly says she doesnât want to screw anything up for Tamra. She tells Tamra to remember that if youâre not first, youâre last, which is what she tells her daughter. No wonder Kelly is messed up. Thatâs terrible to say, but she probably heard it herself growing up.
Tamra calls Shannon. She says Vicki called her and wants to go to the competition. She says Vicki told her that alcohol was the only thing that messed up the trip. Shannon says that Vicki needs to stop concocting stories. Even though I don’t think that was the whole problem, alcohol certainly contributed. Tamra says Vicki thinks theyâre all hurt, but offered no apologies. She tells Shannon they should confront Vicki at the party. Shannon is down with that. Tamra moves on to telling her about lunch with Kelly. Shannon says if Tamra is working past it and wants Kelly at the party, no problem, but sheâs not going to hang out with her.
Tamra reads her good luck texts on the way to the competition. Sheâs in the bikini division. Mia tells her to ask Jesus for strength and that sheâs there to inspire other women. We flash back to the accident and Tamraâs recovery. Tamra says sheâs worked so hard, she canât let anything get in her way. She gets a final spray tan before the event starts. The girls arrive and itâs stupid how theyâre all saying hello to Briana, but pretty much ignoring Vicki and Kelly. In her interview, Shannon says sheâs keeping it to herself (whatever it is) because itâs Tamraâs night.
Tamra looks amazing. Eddie takes pictures and Davidâs eyes bug out of his head. We see a few of the other contestants. Shannon says since sheâs met Tamra, sheâs done a complete transformation. The other girls praise her, but my ears are still ringing from her hollering on the bus. Tamra should apologize to me. Itâs down to Tamra and another girl. Tamra prays. We go to a commercial.
Tamra wins! She gets her trophy, and Eddie comes up on stage and hugs her. In her interview, Tamra says with all the things she canât control in her life, she wanted to do something for herself. Everyone congratulates her and they take pictures. Tamra just wants a hamburger and some pizza. Vicki and Kelly come up for pictures, and Shannon walks away. Kelly says Shannon is ignoring her and Heather is icing her out.
Next time, the finale – Shannon has a party, a pile of donuts falls to the ground and Tamra eats them anyway (I made up the Tamra part), Meghan tries to talk to Heather, and Shannon confronts Vicki.
đ Recommended: Hamilton’s America in rotation on PBS. This is like seeing two documentaries in one. Lin-Manuel Miranda captured his musical’s journey from start to Tony Awards, and this is interspersed with historical discussion. There are interviews with everyone from historians to Hamilton cast members. And there are enough scenes from the play, that you won’t even need to see it. This is definitely worth a look, or two, or three. Fastest 82 minutes ever.
What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
Once Upon a Time
In the capital of Agribah, the market is busy and Jafar pushes people around. He corrals three guys, telling them that the Sultan doesnât tolerate thieves and neither does he. He zaps them and poof! they turn into rats in a cloud of red smoke. Maybe dusty rose is closer.
Jasmine comes to Aladdinâs rug shop. Sheâs there to hire him. He wonder if she shouldnât be in a palace, but sheâs unhappy there. She wants Aladdin to help her defeat Jafar. Heâs not interested, but she tells him look in his pocket. He finds a royal scarab as payment. When he tries to give it back, she screams, âthief!â and he says heâll help just to shut her up. She wants him to steal a weapon called the Diamond in the Rough.
Emmaâs visions are still haunting her. She and Archie walk through the forest. They find the Oracle, but she keels over dead. So much for her part. A girl runs past them. Emma runs after her and the girl falls. Itâs Shireen.
Emma and David talk to Shireen. Emma asks what her story is and says maybe they can help. Shireen explains that sheâs really Princess Jasmine, but says she didnât kill the Oracle and doesnât know who did. The Oracle was helping her find Aladdin. She says he was special and the Savior.
The Evil Queen shows up at Archieâs office. She wants to talk about Emma. She says Hyde told her that the Oracle gave Emma visions of her future, and Archie realizes the Evil Queen is the one who killed the Oracle. She asks him to team up for old timeâs sake. He tells her no way, and she turns herself into his clone. She says if he wonât help, sheâll ask Emma herself.
Zelena tends to her baby, and finds Archie  in her kitchen tied up. He wants her to untie him, but she says her sister must have her reasons. He tries using psychology to trick her into setting him free, but it doesnât work.
The Evil Queen sees Emma, who sees her as Archie. âArchieâ says they have more to explore, but Emma says the plans have changed. She says Aladdin is another Savior and she has to help find him. She drives off in her yellow VW bug.
In the old world, Jasmine takes Aladdin to the Cave of Wonders. She says heâll learn everything he needs from there. He jokes around, but she tells him itâs serious. Rather than living a life of comfort, she wants to save the world. He says she canât blame Jafar for everything though. Itâs been bad for a while, and only when her own family was persecuted did she get involved. He tells her that sheâs selfish. He juggles an apple and gives it to her, making her smile.
They approach the cave. The closed entrance stumps Aladdin she wonders how hard a little breaking and entering can be for a thief. He says âOpen Sezme!.â Nothing happens. But then the door slowly opens. He says, after her.
The Storybrooke group gathers at Emmaâs place. David says theyâre not giving up on finding Aladdin, but it doesnât look good. The Evil Queen as Archie enters. He says Emma has a secret, encouraging her to tell her family. Emma says sheâs been having visions of what she thinks is her future. She says all of the Saviors died, but she thought if she found Aladdin alive, he could help her avoid her fate. As they argue, Archie leaves and turns back to the Evil Queen outside.
Emma says Regina isnât there in the vision. Regina wonders if sheâs dead or if she’s the hooded figure. She says theyâll find another way to track down Aladdin and tells them meet in her vault in an hour. Jasmine wonders if Aladdin is dead.
The Cave of Wonders definitely is. Lots of gold and treasure and a booby trapped rough diamond. Aladdin sees a gold monkey and uses it as a weight so he can take the diamond. It turns to dust in his hands and the cave starts to shake. He covers Jasmine. When itâs over, she says heâs magic. He asks if she knew that would happen, and she says she suspected. The actual gem wasnât the Diamond in the Rough; he is. He can challenge Jafar and defeat him and be the Savior of Agribah.
In todayâs Storybrooke, Jasmine is sitting in Henryâs room and he tells her that she can play his X-Box or whatever helps. She feels like sheâs intruding, but he says he knows itâs hard on her. She says the worst part is knowing that being a Savior is a death sentence, and back in Agribah, sheâs the one who encouraged Aladdin. Henry says he did the same thing with his mother, but maybe Hyde is wrong. Jasmine hopes so, for both their sakes.
Snow says Emma should have been honest. Emma says she didnât lie, she was just scared. David gets a message from Leroy. He had an appointment with Archie, but Archie never showed.
The Evil Queen pops into Zelenaâs place and says thanks for watching Archie. She tells Zelena to come with her and let Archie babysit. She says Zelena’s little sister is going to make everything better.
Zelena and the Evil Queen go to the spa and gossip. The Evil Queen asks if this isnât what Zelena always wanted, a family that supports her? She says the rest want Zelena to squelch her gifts. She says she lied to Henry for years, but she never gave him a chance to accept the real her. She tells Zelena that she’s strong, powerful, and wicked, and that her daughter might turn out as wonderfully wicked as she is.
Regina concocts a potion. Itâs a locator spell. She says thereâs one thing Aladdin didnât steal – his magic. If heâs alive, itâs still with him. She tells Emma to drink it and theyâll go find him.
Back in the day, Aladdin asks why Jasmine didnât tell him, but she says he wouldnât have believed her. She says that the scarab was a gift to her family for freeing the kingdom from darkness. Now itâs his. Even if he doesnât believe in himself, she believes in him. She leaves Aladdin in the cave.
Jafar appears, asking how it feels to be a Savior. He asks if Aladdin wants to see what happens, and produces an Oracle bird that looks an awful lot like a cardinal. The birdâs eyes glow and Aladdin sees death. Jafar says that death is the fate of all Saviors, but thereâs a way to alter his destiny. He shows Aladdin a pair of gold shears that can sever the ties. Heâll live a long, prosperous, happy life, paid for by the treasures in the cave, and no longer be Savior. Jafar asks if prince doesnât sound more appealing than dead Savior.
In Agribah, Jasmine finds her father. She wants to get him somewhere safe; a great battle is coming. She says Jafar has torn the kingdom apart, but sheâs found a Savior to defeat him. Jafar appears and says that sounds like treason. She tells Jafar a Savior is coming. He says her Savior had a heart for gold rather than a heart of gold, and the only thing between Aladdin and the throne is her. Jafar puts Jasmine inside of a huge hourglass. The sand begins to pile up around her.
Aladdin swoops in on a flying carpet and tells Jafar not to be so sure. He breaks the glass, releasing Jasmine, who is about to be covered in sand. Jafar says Aladdin has never had to pay a price for anything, but someday he will, and heâll know this was no victory.
Jasmine thought Aladdin abandoned them, but he says she changed his mind. The king wonders who Aladdin is. Aladdin says heâs returning something she lost and gives her the scarab. She wants him to keep it as a remembrance that a friend believes in him.
The Storybrooke gang walks through the forest. Emma feels a quake and steers Henry in another direction. They go underground, and Regina says theyâre under the cemetery in a forgotten crypt. Jasmine says Emma must have made a mistake. She looks around in the dark with a flashlight and sees the scarab. She says Emma is right: heâs there. Regina asks if sheâs sure itâs Aladdin, and she says yes. Iâm not. Henry asks what this means, but Emma doesnât know. She needs to be alone.
Emma has her vision. Henry interrupts. He says heâs sorry and itâs all his fault. He says if heâd never knocked on her door and dragged her to Storybrooke in the first place, this wouldnât have happened. He forced her to be Savior. Emma says now she has actual magic in her life – him – and she has a family now. She tells him not to worry about the end of the story, just enjoy the middle of the journey together. They hug. Aladdin appears. He tells Emma from one Savior to another, itâs no fun.
In Agribah, Aladdin and Jasmine walk through the market. Her father wants Aladdin to have his pick of the royal treasures, but he says he doesnât want that. Jasmine asks what he does want. He says just to be Savior. He asks Jasmine to go away with him; he wants to show her the world. She says she canât; thereâs much work to be done in the kingdom. She says itâs not good-by. Heâll defeat Jafar and he knows where to find her.
Aladdin finds the shears in his bag along with a note from Jafar – for a rainy day, or coming storm, or when the Saviorâs burden becomes too much.
Aladdin tells Emma that he used them and ran to the Enchanted Forest to hide. Emma realizes he planted the scarab at the crypt. He never intended to reveal himself, but after hearing Emma and Henry, he couldn’t do it. Henry says he has to go to Jasmine. Aladdin says he doesnât want to see the look in her eyes when she realizes heâs just a common thief. Emma doesnât think that will happen.
Jasmine sits on a park bench and looks at the scarab. Aladdin approaches. They embrace. She thought he was dead and he thought heâd never see her again. He asks now what. She says now he needs to help her. Agribah is in terrible danger and needs the Savior. Heâs like, um….
The Evil Queen and Zelena get back. Archie asks if theyâre going to torture and kill him. Zelena tells him not to be ridiculous; she has to show her daughter who her mommy is. She turns Archie into a cricket and puts him in a cage above the babyâs crib. OMG – heâs so cute!
The group gathers. Emma says she doesn’t want to use the shears. Aladdin didnât trust the people he loved, and that’s why he failed. If her magic comes with a price, theyâll pay it. David says they can protect her and the town. Hook says heâs with her, and she apologizes for not trusting him. She says no more secrets and gives him the shears so they donât fall into the wrong hands. Emma tells Hook to get rid of them.
Emma watches as Hook goes out in a rowboat. He comes back and says they’re ten thousand leagues under the sea. She thanks him. He promises that she’ll have her heart’s desire. She leaves him on the dock. We see he still has the shears. Bad Hook.
Next time, Hook travels 20,000 leagues under the sea.
The Walking Dead
All right, letâs get it over with. I donât even care anymore. Unless itâs Daryl.
Rick says heâs going to kill Negan. Good luck with that. Negan asks him to speak up. Rick says not today or tomorrow, but heâs going to kill him. Negan asks right hand man Simon what he has, and Simon says a hatchet. He plays with Rick a little and asks for the ax.
Negan shows Rick the ax. He puts it in his belt. He drags Rick off. He says maybe Rick will be back and they can turn the people inside out who are left. We see a bloody pulp. So who died? Are they going to stretch this out even more? Iâm annoyed already and itâs only four minutes into the show.
Negan kicks Rickâs ass around the RV and then suggests they go for a ride. The trailer wonât start and he calls it a piece of sh*t. He laughs about Rick saying heâs going to kill him, and asks if Rick saw what he just did. I didnât. He says Rick’s best bet is to get him in the back of the head with the ax, but when Rick picks it up, Negan is faster. He tells Rick to drop it and pounds him when he does. He tells Rick not to make him get up again, like he’s dad on a Sunday car ride. He says that dawn is braking and itâs a brand new day. He wants Rick to think about what happened, and what could still happen. He starts to drive.
Negan drives into a zombie who splatters all over the windshield. We see flashes of Rosita, Sasha and Glenn. Negan stops the van. He says Rick is his, and the people back there are his, and Lucille is his. Okay. I get it. Everything is his. He opens the door and throws out the ax, telling Rick to go get it. He threatens Rick with Lucille and says get his ax. Negan finally tosses Rick out the door. The zombies surround Rick, but he fights them off.
We see a flash of Abe. Rick fights off more zombies. We see an Aaron flash back and more zombies. Abe again, and more zombies. Maggie, and more zombies. Rick climbs to the top of the van and a zombie pulls at him. A flash of Daryl. Rick gets to the roof. He stands up and looks out. There are lots of small fires everywhere and tons of zombies wandering around. A Michonne flash back. Rick sees a zombie hanging from a bridge and falls to his knees. A Carl flash back. Negan says they thought they were all going to grow old together and have Sunday dinner, but now it doesnât look like that’s going to happen.
Rick flashes back to when Negan first appeared. Negan does that eenie, meenie, minie, mo thing. We move on to the my mother told me part, and I’m thinking this is taking forever. Rick sweats and shakes. Itâs Abe. After the first wallop, Abe tells Negan to suck his nuts. Alrighty then.
Negan keeps pounding on Abe long after heâs dead. Whatâs the point? Especially since it just looked like he was hitting the ground. (Wattup wit dat, editing department?) Negan flings Lucille around, getting blood everywhere. He shoves the bat in Rositaâs face and asks if they were together. He says it sucks, but there was a reason. He took it for the team, so take a look. Daryl jumps up and punches him and a bunch of guys take Daryl down. Negan laughs. He says thatâs a no-no and wonât fly here. A guy asks if Negan wants Daryl dead, and points his crossbow at him. Negan says no, he doesnât die until theyâve tried everything. Guess he wants to keep Daryl around because heâs feisty.
Negan says this isnât how it works. (That’s not how any of this works!) The first one is free. He doesnât know what kind of lying a-holes theyâve been dealing with, but heâs a man of his word and first impressions are important. He needs them to know him. (Get to know me!) He whacks Glenn with Lucille. I guess the first one wasnât free? Glenn tells Maggie he’ll find her. Negan asks if Glenn is trying to speak and we see Glenn’s eyeball practically hanging out. Negan says he’s truly sorry, but he did say no exceptions and beats Glenn some more. The focus is on how distraught Maggie is, but we hear the bat keep hitting. Lots of blood flies, and Negan says heâs just getting started. He says Lucille is a vampire bat. Rick looks spacey, and Negan asks if the joke was that bad. It was pretty stupid.
Back in the present, Negan tells Rick that the rest of them donât have to die, and get him his ax. Because heâs really Joan Crawford. He says itâs Rickâs last chance and starts shooting through the RV roof. Rick jumps onto the hanging zombie. The others grab at his feet. Hanging zombie’s neck stretches until Rick reaches the ground. Negan shoots at the zombies and tells Rick the clock is ticking. Rick climbs over the zombie pile and finds the ax. He ends up next to a head that’s trying to bite.
As Rick kills each zombie, he sees each character getting hit by Lucille. Did this happen or is that just his motivation? Negan shoots the zombies remaining around Rick, and Rick gets back in the RV. Negan holds out his hand and Rick gives him the ax. Road trip!
Rick is understandably tired and starts to nod out. The RV stops. Negan says, “Weâre here, prick,” and I laugh. Is he going to call him that now? Negan says it must be hard, since Rick has been King Sh*t for so long. Losing two of his own in front of his boy is screwed up. He wipes the ax blade on Rick’s jacket, saying tht Rick was probably addicted to being in charge, but now thatâs over. He says Rick can still lead a nice productive life, producing for Negan. He gives Rick the ax and says he thinks Rick is going to need it.
When they get back, Rick tumbles out of the RV. Negan asks Rick if he knows what that trip was about. Um…power trip? He wanted Rick to look at him differently, and he wants Rick to understand. He says that Rick is still looking at him like he sh*t in his scrambled eggs, and itâs not going to work. He asks if he should give Rick another chance and Rick says yes. Negan says what he does next determines if his crap day becomes everyone elseâs crap day or just another crap day. He tells his men to put guns at the back of everyoneâs heads.
Negan tells Carl to come to him. I can’t imagine they’d take Carl away from the teens and tweens and 16 Magazine. He asks if Carl is a lefty. He isn’t and Negan ties Carl’s right arm with a belt like he would for a shot. He tells him to get down next to Rick. He asks Simon for a pen and draws a line on Carlâs forearm. Rick asks what heâs doing, and Negan says he ainât doin’ sh*t, which is apparently his favorite word. He wants Rick to cut Carlâs arm off at the line. Michonne says he doesnât have to do this; they understand. Negan says she might, but heâs not sure that Rick does. He gives Rick instructions, saying they have a great doctor and Carl will be fine. Probably. It needs to happen now or heâll kill Carl. Rick says do it to him instead, but Negan says itâs the only way. Joan Negan tells him to pick up the ax. He says not making a decision is making a big decision, and Rick will see everyone die. He asks if Rick is going to make him count. Rick gets embarrassingly weepy and Negan slaps him, telling him this is it. Carl tells him just do it. He raises the ax and Negan stops him, saying Rick answers to him and provides to him and belongs to him, right? Rick says right, and Negan says thatâs the look he wanted to see. Ooh, itâs like an Abraham sacrificing his son thing. Except Negan is a lot meaner than God.
Negan says all of us together did it, and even the dead guys get the spirit award today. He says it was a productive day, and he hopes for all their sakes that they get it now and understand how things work. Things have changed. Whatever they had going for them is over now. He tells Dwight to load Daryl up and they toss him in the van. Negan says he has guts; he’s not a little bitch like some people. He asks if Rick still wants to try something. If he does, he’ll cut pieces off of Daryl and put him on Rick’s doorstep or better yet he’ll have Rick do it.
Negan tells them, welcome to a brand new beginning. He leaves the truck so they can get stuff for him. He’ll be back in a week.
Negan and his men leave. Rickâs group sits staring into space, some crying, some just stunned. I guess they donât have to worry about Glenn and Abe turning into walkers, since their heads were smashed to pulps. They sit quietly. Maggie gets up. Rick tells her to sit, but she says no. He says they need to get her to Hilltop, and she says they need to fight them. Rick says they have Daryl and they have an army; they would die, all of them. Maggie tells him to go home and take everyone. They need to go to Alexandria. She says they were out there for her and Rick says they still are.
Maggie says she needs them to go back. She canât have them out there. Michonne says theyâre not letting her go; itâs not going to help. Sasha says sheâll take her. Sheâll get her there and keep her safe. Maggie is not looking too good. Maggie says she needs to do this, but Aaron says they need to help her. Rick begs her to let them help. He says Glenn was their family too. Maggie breaks down crying. She hugs Carl. They lift the bodies – or whatâs left of them. There’s a crane shot of Maggie between the two blood spots.
We see everyone around a table with Glenn holding a little boy.
Rick picks up the ax. He goes in the RV, closes the door, and starts it up. He stares at a single zombie. It screeches at them as they drive away. He sees it fall to its knees. Rickâs eyes are fearful.
Next time, Negan takes over.
Seriously annoying and distracting were the several commercials featuring zombies that made me think the show was back on.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey
Melissa and Joe #2 go to Teresaâs house with Chinese food. Milania complains about Teresa being boring and daddy being more fun. Joe asks if Teresa has talked to Joe #1 yet, but she hasnât. Milania says sheâs going to have grey hair by the time her father gets back.
Milania rides the ATV and Joe #2 stops her from riding so fast. He tells her she doesnât want her dad to come home to her in the hospital. Melissa asks Teresa if sheâs going to Doloresâs kitchen warming party. Teresa isnât thrilled that Jacqueline will be there, but wants to be supportive. They talk about the transition Teresa is going through with Joe #1 going into the clink.
Siggy and Dolores talk to a party planner about Doloresâs party. Really? Siggy is proud of Dolores for getting her gym going and not having ex-husband Frank pay for everything. They talk about Teresa and Melissa being with Jacqueline in the same room, and hope that no one clashes.
Melissa talks to Derek about the fashion show. Her partner isnât going to be there, so itâs just her and two employees. She demonstrates a runway walk.
Jacqueline is hoarse. Probably from yelling at people. We can only hope she gets full blown laryngitis. She and Chris talk about whoâs going to be at the party. Jacqueline says sheâs not ready to talk to Teresa and Melissa, and Chris says heâs staying out of it. Wise move.
Itâs party time! Siggy and kids arrive first. Dolores says renovating the house has helped her move forward with her life. Siggy asks if Dolores is nervous about Teresa and Jacqueline being together, but she says no, and expects them to act like big girls. Has she seen this show before? She expects a lot. Doloresâs mom shows up. Everyone is very impressed. It’s definitely a beautiful kitchen. Even more impressive is that Doloresâs grandmother is 102 years old. Siggy asks for her secret, but she says if she told, it wouldnât be a secret anymore. Dolores explains the Jacqueline/Teresa fight to her. Iâm sure itâs just what she wants to hear about, especially being on borrowed time.
On the way over, Joe #2 asks what Melissa is going to say to Jacqueline. She says she has nothing to say and didnât deserve to be screamed at. Joe says she deserves an apology. She calls Teresa, but Teresa says sheâs not going to make it. The girls are missing Joe #1 and heâs going to call tonight, so she wants to be there.
Creepy Kim D arrives. Siggy makes a point of introducing son Josh, saying he came out of her “cookie.” Why? Why would you say something like that? Dolores brings a statue of the Virgin Mary into the room, hoping that the Blessed Mother will watch after everyone. I laugh because it reminds me of my aunt and her statue of St. Anthony. He’s the patron saint of lost things, and if she prayed to him and still couldn’t find something, she’d turn his face to the wall. When Melissa gets there, she says she sees the trouble makers are there already and heads for the kitchen. The most sickening thing is that Jacqueline is wearing a shirt that says Nama’ Stay Away From Me, obviously geared to bug Teresa. There is something wrong with this woman.
Melissa tells Dolores that Teresa wonât be coming. Dolores understands and is going to send her a text. The Wakhili gang comes in. In his interview, Joe #2 says their issues are minor and heâs going to be nice. He goes over to say hello and none of them are that friendly, but Jacqueline is totally icy. Rich makes rude remarks about having a foursome with Rosie.
Dolores is a little annoyed about Jacquelineâs shirt. I’d make her go home and change. Since she canât start trouble with Teresa not there, Jacqueline wants to leave. Chris approaches Joe #2 and says Jacqueline feels like she wasnât given the opportunity to give her side of the story about Vermont. Chris thinks Joe should have called him. Joe says he respects that Chris sticks up for his wife, and he does the same, but when theyâre wrong you should say so. He says Jacqueline went buck wild on Melissa. Chris says she defended herself, and Joe wonders if hey were at the same party. I think Chris should take a look at the shirt his wife is wearing and justify that. And why is this dude even involving the two of them?
Chris says Jacqueline deserves more love than she got. All she got was a smack in the face. Joe #2 points out how cold Jacqueline was when he said hello. He says frankly he thinks they were both wrong. He mentions the fashion show, but Chris is like, you didn’t come to our popcorn event and Jacqueline is still feeling sensitive. He adds they should get together soon, just to confuse things more. Sensitive Jacqueline starts beeping the car horn.
Dolores makes a toast thanking everyone for coming.
Siggy takes her mom for a hair makeover. She feels badly about her mom saying they donât spend enough time together. Afterwards, theyâre going to lunch. She wants to see her mother enjoy her life more. She tells her mother that theyâre coming every week from now on. She wants her to know how valuable she is.
Milania helps Teresa with Joe #1âs chores. She keeps comparing how Teresa does things to how Joe does them. Teresa asks what she misses and if thereâs anything she can do to make it better. Milania says no one can replace him and Teresa is embarrassing.
Siggy takes her mother to lunch. She says she doesnât like the fact that her mother doesnât take enough time for herself. She says sometimes she feels sad being with her. Her mom says that she appreciates the time she has, especially since she missed them so much when she lived in Israel.
Dolores is having a ladies’ night at the gym. Teresa is teaching a yoga class, and Siggy is coming to talk about her book, Write Your Own Fairy Tale.
Jacqueline is feeling worse. Chris thinks she should see a doctor. Chris tells her about the conversation with Joe. She writes on a pad that no freaking way is she going to the fashion show.
Dolores leaves a message for Jacqueline. She says sheâs not expecting her to come to ladies’ night, but she’s helped in the past, and Dolores wants her to know sheâs appreciated. Robyn shows up, which surprises Dolores a little. She tells Robyn that she has no problem with her, except for her not getting along with Jacqueline. Robyn says she has no reason not to get along with Dolores. Teresa says too bad; she wants nothing to do with Jacqueline anymore.
Melissa is anxious about the fashion show. She says thereâs so much going on and she canât figure out how it will all come together. Joe calls her into the bathroom to help with shaving his back. She tries to convince him that sheâs in the middle of something right now.
Teresaâs class begins. She explains sheâs getting her certification and teaches several poses. In her interview, Teresa says she love the way yoga makes her feel, and that itâs good for both your body and mind. Afterward, the girls all have a health food version of a martini, some kind of smoothie concoction.
Siggy discusses having the life of your dreams. Dolores thanks everyone for comeing she says as women they all have something to share and have to stick together. In her interview, she says she feels like sheâs back.
Teresa makes breakfast. Milania says if her egg sandwich isnât like dadâs, sheâs throwing it out. Teresa tries to talk to her, but she doesnât want to discuss her father. Gabriela doesnât understand why they have to talk about it and says itâs fine. In her interview, Teresa says theyâre trying to find the new normal.
Melissa gets ready for the fashion show. She wants to prove to Joe that sheâs not just bringing in crumbs. Itâs time for a run through and Melissa is still adding last minute outfits. Joe #2 has to get the kids ready, and wonders what the blip happened to his life. A question I often ask myself.
On the way to the fashions show, Dolores and Siggy discuss whoâs coming or not. Dolores says Jacqueline is accusing her of saying she was a no-show at the gym event and whined because her name wasn’t on the flyer. It escalated into an argument that Dolores ended with an F-U. Dolores says sheâs heard nothing except Jacqueline badmouthing her. She says Jacqueline has alienated herself and sheâs not gong to be a whipping post. Siggy thinks Jacqueline is paranoid and insecure. Who is the common denominator in all of these arguments, people?
Next time, the finale – Melissa’s fashion show happens, Teresa might need to sell the house, Jacqueline alienates herself further, and Siggy invites Jacqueline over. It doesn’t look like it ends well.
What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
General Hospital – Thursday
Claudette tells Charlotte to say hi to her new daddy, Griff, but Charlotte runs to Nathan.
Maxie is confronted by a bearded man when she sneaks into Claudette’s room. She tells The Beard that she has the wrong room, but he grabs her before she can make an exit.
Carly goes home. Sonny asks if she forgot something, but she says sheâs back for good. She says their son is dead. Sheâs always going to regret what happened and why, but the only way theyâll get through it is together. She says she knows Sonny made a horrible mistake, but she loves him. They embrace. Dammit! It was a dream. They almost always get me with those.
Michael gives Carly Morganâs keys from The Floating Rib. The bartender feels badly about what happened, but Michael told him that he did the right thing. Actually heâs one of the few who did. Carly keeps going over it in her head and it deosnât make sense She wonders why Morganâs medication wasnât working
Ava juggles the pill bottles in Morganâs room, drops one, and when she goes to retrieve it, finds Nell standing there. Nell asks her what sheâs doing in Morganâs room. She asks if Ava dropped something.
Nathan takes Charlotte aside, telling her that Griff and her mother need to talk. Griff says no wonder Charlotte is confused, since she has a different father every day. He asks why any of them should believe anything she says. Claudette says she thought since Nathan was a cop and from a wealthy family, Charlotte would be safer with him. She thinks they shouldnât waste time on anger and move forward. Nathan says, even if itâs undeserved? Griff tells Nathan about Claudetteâs plan to run away with him and leave Charlotte with Nathan and Maxie. Claudette is like, okay you caught me. Nathan says every time he thinks she couldnât get lower she digs some more. Griff agrees she canât be trusted.
Maxie struggles with The Beard.
Michael tells Carly to get some rest, but she canât. She wants to know every detail. She wants to know how much Morgan was drinking. Michael says enough to be cut off. She asks about Morgan seeing Kiki and Dillon, but Michael says it was a misunderstanding Carly wants the timeline of Morganâs last day. She talks about him being upset about getting expelled from school. She doesnât think if Morganâs medication was working, that he would have gone on a bender. She says he was taking his pills, going to therapy, and was supposed to get blood work done. She makes a call, saying sheâs going to get some answers.
Ava tells Nell that she and Morgan were once friends, very good friends, and now that heâs gone, she wanted to look around before she checked on Avery. Nell asks if Sonny knows sheâs in there, but Ava claims that she doesnât want to distress him any more. Nell asks if she needs help finding what sheâs looking for and Ava stops her from looking. Sonny sees the both of them and Ava scoops up the dropped bottle. Sonny tells Ava not to lie to him tonight and asks why sheâs in there.
Claudette wants to move past her lies and figure out what to do next. Griff says heâs been thinking about recommitting to the church. Claudette laughs and tells him to grow up. She says he was a breath away from leaving the church and running away with her. Nathan says, good job, and Claudette tells him to keep his opinons to himself. She says they could all be in danger.
The Beard takes Maxie to the basement and binds her with duct tape. He says sheâs going to tell him what he wants to know or itâs going to go badly. He takes the gag out and asks where she stashed the little girl.
Andre visits Carly. He tells her heâs sorry he wasnât able to prevent a tragedy. She asks about the blood work, but Andre says Morgan never showed up. He says heâs been looking for answers himself, and thereâs nothing. She says that proves Morganâs medication wasnât working. He says thereâs no way to know for sure, and she asks why Andre let him leave the clinic.
Nell says Ava dropped something and she was helping her find it. Ava pretends it was her phone. Nell leaves and Sonny asks why Ava was in Morganâs room. She says he knows why.
Maxie says she doesnât know what The Beard is talking about. She realizes that he thinks sheâs Claudette.
Claudette says if Griff will leave with her in the next few days, she knows how to get off the grid. Nathan says nice that she wants Griff to leave the church and medicine to live on the run. He suggests consulting Anna, but Claudette doesnât know who she is and doesnât want to.
Sonny tells Ava she has ten minutes and donât ever pull a stunt like this again. (Ha-ha! Itâs always âa stunt.”) She leaves and Sonny looks around the room. He takes a sports trophy down and holds it to his chest.
Carly says Andre told her that Morganâs condition was under control and manageable. Andre says at the time, Morganâs blood work confirmed the meds were working. Michael interjects that in the past few weeks something was up. Carly says Morgan seemed manic, but assured her that he was taking his meds and going to therapy. Andre says looking back, heâs never seen anything quite like it.
Nell asks Sonny if itâs okay that Ava stops by, but Sonny says not without supervision. Nell says it sounds like he hates her, and he asks what gave her a clue. She talks about the different kinds of hate and how emotions can be mixed, but the way he looks at Ava, itâs a dangerous hate. He says thatâs the right word. She asks how they had a child. Not too nosy with her employer. Sonny tells her that itâs a long story where they both look bad, but the best part is the little girl upstairs and heâs going to do everything to protect her. He says Ava is toxic and ruins everything she touches. Nell says Ava said she and Morgan were friends. Sonny says that Ava seduced him and turned him away from his family. He says Morgan was trusting and vulnerable, and she took advantage. He tells Nell that and what goes around, comes around, and Ava will pay for what sheâs done. He says his heart isnât just cold, itâs arctic Heâll hate Ava for the rest of his life.
Ava comes downstairs. Sonny stairs daggers at her.
Nathan says Anna is qualified and has the government connections to hide Charlotte. Claudette says she needs time to process it, but it seems like a better answer. She says right now sheâs focusing on her little girl.
Maxie asks The Beard how anyone could mistake her for that bitch? She suggests The Beard check her I.D. He does. He says she did a good job, even with the name. She asks how he would feel if someone kept referring to him as someone he hates more than anything. He asks why she broke in the room. Maxie tells him that she was going to replace Claudetteâs shampoo and conditioner with hair remover because sheâs petty that way. He asks where Claudette and Charlotte are.
Claudette starts to leave with Charlotte. Griff tells Charlotte he knows that heâs a stranger, but theyâll get to know each other well, and heâs glad shes there. She hugs him. This kid is going to end up with some sort of misplaced affection disorder. Claudette says she knows thereâs nothing she can say to convince them, but she only did what she thought was best and sheâs sorry.
Griff wonders if he should go with them. Nathan says he doesnât think Claudette would leave if there was real danger, and anything she says is subject to verification. Griff has something else to say to Nathan.
Carly asks Andre if heâs saying no one could predict this outcome. Andre says they were both monitoring Morgan closely. Carly tells him that she started noticing something and alarms were going off in her head, but she was supposed to trust the process and not police Morgan. She was supposed to get out of the way and let Andre treat him. She says if she had followed her instincts, heâd still be alive. She stops Andre from saying anything else and tells him to get out. He says heâs not making excuses and tells her how sorry he is.
Carly tells Michael she doesnât care what anyone says, she knew something was wrong and didnât do anything.
Nell excuses herself. Ava says she knows Sonny thinks she was bad for Morgan, but she loved him. Sonny says she never loved anything or anyone except herself. She used Morgan the way she uses everyone, including Kiki and Avery. He says they did what they did, and have to carry it for the rest of their lives. He tells her to get out and never presume she knows how he feels. Outside on the porch, she says she does know.
Griff tells Nathan itâs not lost on him that Claudette put him through the same thing. With Claudetteâs help, heâs caused Nathan pain and wants to make amends. He thinks Nathan was put in his path for a reason. Nathan says he shot Griff and thinks theyâre square. He warns Griff that Claudette will use Charlotte to get what she wants. He asks if Griff is really thinking of staying with her, because one way or another, sheâll destroy him.
Claudette gets back to her room and sees it in complete disarray.
Maxie says sheâll tell The Beard where Claudette is, but she wants a guarantee he wonât kill her. She tells him to take her to a public place and sheâll tell him everything. He says thatâs not how this works. (That’s not how any of this works!) She tells him that sheâs very well connected on both sides of the law. She works for Julian, her father is the head of the WSB, and her boyfriend is a cop. She says it will go better for the both of them if they do it her way. He says he doesnât care.
Ava leaves a message for Kiki to call her. She wants her to know that her mother is here for her. She knows Kiki is blaming herself, but itâs not her fault. No one could know how it would play out.
Michael says he knows Carly wants answers and theyâll get them, but blaming herself isnât right. He says Morganâs illness didnât kill him. Maybe the meds werenât working, but Jason had calmed him down and he got out of the car. He died because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He died because he got in a car that was wired to explode with a bomb planted by Sonny.
Sonny dreams about Carly helping Ava take Avery, telling him at least Ava didnât kill their son. Nell asks if heâs all right. Deja vu.
Charlotte asks what happened to the room and Claudette runs out with her.
The Beard threatens to kill Maxie.
Carly tells Michael sheâs glad she has him and Josslyn, and he says always. He leaves, and she looks at pictures of Morgan, telling him sheâs sorry that she didnât take better care of him.
Sonny says heâs fine, but Nell says clearly not. He goes to check on Avery. Nell calls Carly. She starts to say something about Sonny, but Carly doesnât want to hear it and hangs up. Sonny goes to Morganâs room again and picks up a baseball glove. He talks to Morgan, saying if it just could have been him instead and how sorry he is.
Ava throws the pills in a trash can. Someone wearing gloves takes them out. Curtis?
Tomorrow, Lulu needs to discuss something important with Laura, Carly tries to keep Sonny from the funeral, and Maxie wonders if sheâs going to die.
General Hospital – Friday
Carly remembers screeching at Sonny. The doorbell rings. Itâs Sonny.
Sam notes that Jason is up early. He tells Sam that he needed to go for a ride and think about what comes next.
Felicia sees Anna at the MetroCourt. She tells Anna that she was supposed to meet Maxie, but Maxie never showed up. Anna asks if sheâd like to join her for some tea.
Nathan is at the station trying to phone Maxie, but thereâs no answer. He leaves a message that heâll be home soon. Lulu is there to see Dante and asks about the Claudette situation. Nathan asks if sheâs familiar with Charlotte and she asks if he means his daughter. He tells her Charlotte is Griffâs daughter. Lulu wonders why Claudette would do something like that. Nathan says sheâs consistent – everything she tells him is a lie. Lulu asks if he thinks sheâs lying about Valentin.
Claudette tells Griff theyâre leaving now if he wants to come. She found her room tossed. Valentin knows that she and Charlotte are in Port Charles.
Maxie tries to get out of her the duct tape binding her wrists. The Beard brings her breakfast and she asks if heâs going to kill her.
Nathan doubts Claudette even knowing Valentin. Dante is having trouble getting the elements of the bomb traced and argues with someone on the phone. He needs a preliminary report to see if thereâs a signature. Lulu asks to talk to Dante privately. She tells him he needs to stop working the case. Itâs his brother’s murder and heâs too close to it. She says at least take a break, but he says itâs not going to happen. He did nothing for Morgan when he was alive and this is the least he can do. He tells Lulu how he could never be bothered and now heâs going to do everything he can to find out who killed Morgan. Lulu tells Dante that she loves him and leaves. Jordan tells him she has a point.
Carly says she canât do this, but Sonny says itâs important. She tells him say what he needs to say and then go. He starts talking about what kind of service they should have for Morgan, and that they should do it together; they owe him that much. Carly says she made arrangements without him. Itâs going to be on November 11.
Sam asks what Jason means. He said he was thinking about Morgan and Michael. Sonny and Jason found Michael at the station and he went straight for Sonny. It was clear he realized that Sonny must have planted the bomb and Sonny couldnât deny it. Between Sonnyâs remorse and Michaelâs anger, theyâve lost each other. Sam says theyâll find a way to help each other heal. Jason thinks Michael will eventually forgive Sonny, but not himself.
The Beard says heâs isnât going to kill Maxie. Instead, he brought her breakfast. She says sheâs a vegetarian. He tells her to just eat and puts some food on a fork to feed her. He says that since he found her in Claudetteâs room, she must know where they are. I could make this simpler for him. Why doesnât he just go back to the room and wait?
Anna talks to Felicia about going back to the WSB. Felicia asks when sheâs leaving for Geneva.
Griff tells Claudette to call the police, but she says that she has no evidence. The best theyâll do for her is take a complaint. She says they have to leave now. She tells Griff to come with them or say good-by to his daughter. Itâs the last time heâs going to see them.
Sonny tells Carly that itâs not right. She says itâs not right to have to plan your sonâs funeral and the only thing harder would be planning it with him. He says she doesnât get to shut him out from saying good-by to his son.
Jason tells Sam that Sonny called off the hit. but it was too late. He says despite Sonnyâs flaws, he loves his children. He canât have that happen to his family, and wonders if they should leave Port Charles.
Jordan says she heard Dante on the phone. She says she never has to worry about his temperament, but the case is too close to him. Dante says heâd say the same thing, but he has to make sure the investigation is done right and goes as far as it needs to. Jordan reminds him that Sonny might be implicated, and asks if heâs sure heâs okay with his father being charged with the murder of his brother.
Lulu meets Laura for a manicure in the most private nail salon Iâve ever seen. Lulu asks about Lauraâs upcoming date with Doc, but Laura says itâs just dinner and she has to get back to start packing. Lulu asks if sheâs sure if she wants to sell Windemere. Laura asks if it wouldnât be nice to put all things Cassadine behind them. Lulu says if only it were that simple.
Griff doesnât know what the solution is, but itâs not leaving town. He tells Claudette that he has an idea.
Anna tells Felicia that she self-created a position for herself in Port Charles. Sheâll have to travel occasionally, but it will be her base. Sheâs realizing more and more that her home is there, and she doesnât want to leave. Felicia is glad Anna is staying and will be there for the wedding, but she has to find Maxie. As soon as she leaves, Griff approaches Anna with Charlotte and Claudette. He says they need her help.
Maxie asks why The Beard keeps asking about Claudetteâs daughter. He says he asks the questions. Maxie says heâs just going to kill her anyway, but he says if she cooperates, sheâll be rewarded. He asks if sheâll start talking if he makes her an egg white omelette. She suggests a little goat cheese and he says donât push it. He leaves and she works at the duct tape again.
Jason tells Sam when they got married he promised he wouldnât take a risk without thinking of them first, and staying might be a risk. Sonny worked hard to protect his family and Morgan still got killed. She says he doesnât work for Sonny anymore and theyâre not targets. He says Morgan wasnât a target either. His relationship with Sonny makes him vulnerable. Sam says heâll leave some of the people who are the most important to him, and asks if heâs willing to do that.
Sonny tells Carly that he loved and still loves Morgan. Morgan was a part of him and just because sheâs angry, she canât take that. Carly says like he took Morgan from her. She says if he didnât love power and his business more than his family, Morgan would still be alive. He canât compare how they feel. Heâs the one who lost Morgan. She starts to cry. She begged him not to retaliate, but he didnât listen or care, and he didnât choose his family. Sonny says he went after Julian to keep them safe. Carly tells him Morganâs not safe, and because of his choice, Morgan is dead.
Griff introduces Claudette to Anna. He asks if she still has a connection at the WSB. She asks why. Right away, Claudette starts griping that she canât help them. Charlotte introduces herself to Anna. Very precocious for a kid who canât even spell âsafe.” Griff tells Anna that sheâs their daughter. Anna says, Dukeâs granddaughter and smiles, making me smile. Anna asks whatâs going on.
Felicia comes to the station and asks if Nathan knows where Maxie is. She says they had breakfast plans and sheâs officially worried.
Maxie gets free, but hears The Beard coming and pretends sheâs still bound. When he puts the plate on her lap, she gets the better of him for a second, but he grabs her again.
Jason says heâs not talking about moving to Australia and changing their names, but thinks they should put some distance between themselves and Port Charles. Sam says sheâd once thought starting over would be an adventure, but her sisters are there and her mother needs her. Jason suggests relocating a few towns over. He wants them to be safe. That is the stupidest logic Iâve ever heard from him. It wouldnât exactly be hiding to be a few towns over, and if Sam is visiting her family all the time, wouldnât the mob have a good idea of where she might be? Geez.
Carly says she can blame Sonny for Morganâs death, but sheâs just as much to blame. She knew who he was and the life she was exposing Morgan to. She convinced herself that marrying Sonny for the 5th time was worth the risk, and Morgan paid with his life for their choices. Being with him hurts her soul. She looks at him and sees Morgan and the life heâs never going to live. She lists all the life events Morgan wonât have and says heâll never grow old, and they did that. Sonny says he doesnât want to make it worse, but she says it canât get worse. She says no one will stop him from going to the funeral and he thanks her.
Dante says heâll arrest Sonny personally if it comes to that. He gets a call. Someone found something in the river.
Anna wonders why Valentin would be after Charlotte. Claudette tells her that Valentin will do anything to get to her, including using her daughter. Anna says if they stay, she can use her resources to protect them. Claudette agrees. She asks them to watch Charlotte while she goes to her room to regroup. Iâm thinking, more like run. She tells Charlotte that everything is going to be okay, and that she loves her and to never forget that.
Lulu explains the Claudette/Charlotte/Valentin connection to Laura. Lulu says if Laura wants to sell Windemere because she needs the money or sheâs sick of looking at it, sheâs all for it, but if she wants the Cassadines out of their lives, she doesnât see it happening. Coincidence always brings them back. Laura asks if Lulu is sure itâs coincidence.
Maxie asks The Beard if heâs married and has kids. She asks what if something happened to his family; how would he feel if they just disappeared? She says she has a daughter who wonât understand and it will break her heart. She begs him not to kill her.
Outside of her room, Claudette is on the phone ordering a one-way ticket out of town for one person. Nathan is standing behind her. Heâs looking for Maxie. Claudette tells him that her room was tossed. He says he was at the station, so he knows she didnât call the police. She says they canât help and neither can he. He walks ahead of her into her room, which is perfectly neat.
Griff and Anna make a fuss over Charlotteâs coloring pages. Griff tells Anna that he knows itâs a lot. Anna says people wonder why she stays in Port Charles and she keeps getting new answers to that question.
Carly asks Sonny what he wants. He wants her to come home. He doesnât deserve her forgiveness, but canât do this without her. He doesnât know if he can get through the grief. She says theyâre not grieving in the same way for the same reasons. He says they made their son together and he was the best part of them. Theyâre the only ones understand what theyâre going through and feeling. He begs her, saying they shouldnât do this alone.
Sam doesnât know what to say. She asks when Jason is thinking of doing this and he says, soon. He wants to make sure Sonny, Carly and Michael are okay first. Sam asks if heâs heard of a town called Aurora. Sheâs been there a few times and she thought it was cool and wondered what the people were like. He says they can try it, and she says okay. She feels something and he asks if itâs the baby.
It is. Jason says itâs a ninja kick. Sam says he or she wants them to pay attention. Jason talks to the baby, saying theyâre here and never going to leave.
Sonny begs some more. Iâm begging too. Come on, Carly. He says they canât do it unless they do it together. They almost kiss and the doorbell rings. Dammit! Itâs Dante. He says he came from the crash site and they found something.
Laura tells Lulu to be careful. Now that Valentin is involved. She wonders if thereâs a connection between Claudette, Valentin and Helenaâs mind games. Lulu says when it comes to the Cassadines, there are no coincidences.
Anna looks at Valentinâs dossier on her phone. Griff asks if she knows him.
Claudette swears to Nathan that the room was wrecked. He asks what the game is and says theyâre done. He sees a bracelet on the nightstand. Claudette says itâs not hers and he says he knows. Itâs Maxieâs.
The Beard has a gun now. He messes with the furnace, saying no one suffers, sheâll just fall asleep. Maxie says itâs worse than shooting her, and begs him not to leave her there alone. He goes up the stairs and she yells for help. She says she canât breathe and is losing air, although I think thatâs a little quick.
On Monday, Nathan asks Claudette where Maxie is, Anna thinks Valentin looks familiar (yeah, sheâs seen him on All My Children – ha-ha!), and Sonny asks Dante what he found.
Z Nation
Doc calls out for Roberta. Heâs in the woods alone, wondering where everyone went. He says he takes five minutes to take care of business and everyone disappears. Elvis hits him with a guitar and a nurse tells Elvis to hit Doc again because heâs still standing.
Doc comes to, surrounded by a small crowd of patients. Heâs in a straitjacket. The nurse tells him, welcome to the Serenity Falls Institution for the Criminally Insane. Doc says, sh*t. I concur.
Zombies cross a field to the hospital and several pound on a door. Thereâs a group therapy session going on inside. One patient (Liddy) wonders if Doc was sent by the government to infect them. Doc says there is no more government and Liddy says thatâs what heâd say if he was sent by them. The nurse tells Doc that itâs not an asylum; itâs an extended care facility. Doc asks what her definition of extended is, since the zombies sound close.
Nurse tells Doc that the hospital is patient run and self-sufficient. Theyâll continue to maintain a level of personalized care for as long as the patients live. Doc asks how they found him, and she tells him they were looking for mushrooms and heard him say he was a doctor. He tells her he has a PhD in clinical psychology. She says they help one another with their issues in group, and to convince her heâs a doc and sheâll let him out of the jacket. He makes diagnoses until sheâs satisfied. Elvis says he passes The Kingâs inspection and calls him Doctor Hippie, welcoming him to the Heartbreak Hotel.
A girl introduces herself as Winona. She hugs Doc. Nurse holds out her hand and Winona gives her Docâs stash. He dubs Winona a kleptomaniac, and tells Nurse the drugs are for medicinal purposes only. Doc is able to reason with a guy who thinks the chairs are crooked, and Nurse is sufficiently impressed. She wants Doc to look at their latest patient, who is too insane to be with the others.
Nurse takes Doc to another room. She says that normally she doesnât ask for a second opinion, but this one is beyond her knowledge. The symptoms are hallucinations, psychosis and delusions of grandeur. She says heâs been slipping in and out of consciousness, talking about blue men and the planet Zona. Itâs 10K.
A zombie cluster is at the hospital door. The nurse asks if Doc knows the patient, but he says 10K is a diagnosis. He says itâs a relatively new illness, and calls it 10K fever. He says thereâs an obsession with counting along with delusions. Nurse leaves and Doc tells 10K that heâs glad to see him. 10K says Red isnât there, but he always sees Murphy. He asks for Roberta and says he doesnât want to be blue. Doc tells him to hang in there.
The nurse shows Doc the syringes 10K had and thinks heâs addicted to something. She asks if the fever is contagious. Doc says no, but heâd like to do a more thorough exam. Nurse says thereâs no time; sheâs scheduled a lobotomy. She says there are hardly any side effects and points out another patient (Bob) who had one. If being capable of doing nothing but shuffling along means no side effects, then sheâs correct. An alarm sounds and she says itâs medication time. Doc says now theyâre talking.
The patients line up. Doc says that Nurse runs a tight ship. She tells him that rituals restore harmony. Sheâs giving them placebos and says sometimes the illusion of normalcy is all they have
10K is having a convulsion. Nurse asks for surgical tools, but Doc says he needs real medication. Nurse says thereâs a fully stocked pharmacy in the Z Ward. He asks what the big deal is. She tells him zombies who died during shock treatment are in there and you have to go past them to get to the pharmacy.
Doc gets ready to go. Elvis sings Only Fools Rush In, and says heâll help. On three, they go in. Winona sees 10K getting sick and calls for the doctor. Doc and Elvis continue on. The ward is a wreck. A zombie wearing a straitjacket runs out and Elvis kills him, but breaks his guitar. he tells Doc, easy come, easy go.
Winona tells Nurse that 10K is foaming at the mouth. Nurse says it canât wait, and takes Winona with her, leaving Chair Guy to stay in the unlikely event Doc and Elvis return. Doc electrocutes the next zombie. They continue on and get to the pharmacy, or what Doc calls a smorgasbord.
10K is wheeled to surgery. Doc and Elvis grab all the medication and put it into a bag. Winona bangs on the door and Elvis wonders why sheâs all shook up. Nurse tells Liddy to make sure 10K is immobilized, and they put duct tape on him. Chair Guy is having a hard time opening the door back up, and on top of it, has some kind of OCD where he has to keep starting over. The zombies are getting close. Winona tells Chair Guy to hurry and Doc starts to freak out. In the OR, Nurse says itâs a pity they have no anesthesia.
Chair Guy keeps trying to open the door. Nurse tells 10K it might sting a little. In the ward, a zombie with tons of needles sticking out of him almost reaches Doc, but Elvis kicks him away. Doc tells Elvis that he is king and Elvis says, thank you, thank you very much. Chair Guy finally gets the door open. Winona tells Doc that Nurse is operating. They run to the OR and thereâs blood everywhere. Doc asks what the hell theyâve done.
Nurse says heâs there just in time. She tells him the technique has been perfected and Doc sees that she did a lobotomy on Bob. Doc says he has the cure for 10K fever and thatâs his patient. Nurse says since he has it under control, sheâll look after the others.
Doc makes a med cocktail for 10K – and himself. He cooks it up, calling it Docâs Kitchen Sink Anti-Apocalypse Special – if it doesnât kill you, it will cure you. He injects 10K and 10K sits up, saying he feels like heâs been shot in the ass. He lies back down.
The nurse tells the patients Doc will be dispensing the new prescriptions and gives the medication out. Real medication based on his diagnoses. Elvis brings 10K in. Doc quietly tells him that no one knows that they know each other. 10K says he feels super, and he looks pretty high. Doc says last he saw 10K, he was on the sinking submarine. 10k says that Murphy saved him. He asks where the others are; he has to get to Roberta, so she can stop Murphy. He tells Doc about Murphy starting a new world order. 10K is having trouble speaking, and Doc tells him to hold it together. They have to get out.
Nurse conducts an exercise class. Doc pretends to be exercising in the back row with 10K. They exercise through the room and out the door. 10K is having a hard time walking, and Doc has to support him. Doc doesnât want to leave the others. They see the zombies gathered at the door. Nurse and the patients suddenly appear and she says the area is out of bounds. Doc says the whole hospital is going to be out of bounds if they donât do something. Elvis raises his guitar and Doc tells him he thought they were friends and donât be cruel. Elvis knocks Doc out.
The zombies are pushing the blockade in. The patients sit in a circle and Nurse says that hospital policy lets patients make decisions by vote. She wants to revoke Docâs privileges. Even though itâs not unanimous, Nurse says it is. Doc says he wanted to warn them. Nurse tells him that she wonât be feeding them to the zombies, but they need treatment. Doc realizes she wants to give them lobotomies and says he wants a second opinion. Everyone starts to argue, and Doc says theyâre all going to be zombie chow if they donât fix the barricade. 10K says, save them from Murphy, and Nurse thinks his delusions back. Doc explains Operation Bite Markâs mission and everyone laughs.
Liddy says theyâre insane and Nurse says, thereâs your second opinion. Doc says the zombies are going to kill them and the only one whoâs delusional is her if she thinks theyâre safe. The zombies start to break through. Nurse tells Elvis to hold Doc and 10K down. He asks if sheâs talking to him and Doc wonders if heâs the Travis Bickle Elvis. The patients start to revolt. Doc tells Nurse that her ego and stubbornness will get them killed and that sheâs the crazy one. Nurse smacks him and says she thought theyâd be colleagues, but now she has no choice. She comes at Doc with a surgical tool, but Bob comes up behind her and breaks her neck. Then he stabs her in the head with the tool she was going to use on Doc. Nice.
The zombies break through the barricade. Doc puts the medication in a backpack and asks for the fastest way out. Chair Guy tells him thereâs a bus out back, but they have to go through the Z Ward. Doc thanks Bob and tells him to blink if he understands. Bob blinks. Doc and 10K get ready to move.
Commercial break with important information – The Walking Dead begins again this Sunday, October 23, 9 PM.
Doc tells the patients that he doesnât care what Nurse said, theyâre not insane. Theyâre survivors, and the only way out alive is to stick together and be a team. Liddy asks where theyâre going, and Doc says anywhere but here. They go through to the Z Ward. Doc has to keep the patients from getting distracted, and they kill a few zombies along the way. Winona steals a bracelet from one.
Here come the Zâs! Doc suggest they get the hell out of Dodge. They go through the ward, but Bob lags behind. Doc tells the rest to stay put and redirects Bob. He finds Liddy pounding a zombie to smithereens, and Liddy says it was his doctor. Doc hustles everyone out.
A zombie in a wheelchair pops out, along with one who has electrodes on his head. Doc electrocutes them and wheelchair zombieâs oxygen tank catches fire. Everyone runs into a nearby room as the zombie bursts into flames and wheels past them down the hall. Doc says he still has the touch.
Doc tells the patients to keep running until they get to the bus. They get outside, closing the door on the zombies, and Winona tells them to synchronize their watches because she always wanted to say it. I can understand that. They go down the steps and everyone goes in different directions. Doc tries to get them pointed toward the bus. 10K thinks he canât make it and sits down, leaning against a tree. Doc tells him to wait, and herds the patients in the right direction again. The bus door is closed and zombies are coming across the field. Doc gets 10K to stand.
In the hospital, the zombies are clawing to get out. Bob gets the bus door open by banging it with his head. The zombies are getting closer to the bus. Doc gets 10K moving. Winona hot wires the bus, and the patients drive away – without Doc and 10K.
Doc tells 10K, there goes their ride. He sees the bite on 10Kâs neck and curses Murphy. He says heâll fix it if he has to track Murphy down and make a vaccine himself. He wants to get 10K back to the group. 10K begs him not to tell anyone about the bite and says heâs not like Cassandra. He passes out and Doc says heâs going to punch Murphyâs teeth in.
The zombies inside finally get the doors open. Doc tells 10K, puppies and kittens, and grabs him, dragging him to the gate and out. The zombies claw at the fence and stare at them.
Meanwhile, the wheels on the bus go âround and âround, and the patients sing Ninety-nine Bottles of Beer on the Wall.
Next time, Roberta needs to stop Murphy, Murphy continues with his plan of a New World Order, and Roberta thinks they might need a bigger boat back-up.

General Hospital
Sonny sees Morgan as a child running around the house, playing hide and seek. Morgan disappears and Sonny finds a tiny shoe. Nell asks him if heâs all right and he wakes up.
Hayden decides to make a deal with Evan. He suggests going to his room. She asks if he has a mini bar and tells him to lead the way.
A coughing Finn tells Tracy heâs okay, but she says that she hasnât seen him this bad in a while. He says he needs to adjust his treatment regimen and gets distracted by Hayden leaving with Evan.
Maxie tells Nathan they saw what Claudette wanted them to see. She has Charlotte listen to the soundtrack from Frozen while they talk. Maxie says Claudette isnât exactly known for telling the truth. Nathan wonders why she would lie and what she expects to get out of it. Is Nathan really this dense? Maxie says him.
Youâd never know it the way sheâs going at it with Griff. Half-naked. In the middle of the gym. Griff breaks away and says he canât.
Nathan says thereâs no way the results could be falsified. Maxie says she got a sample from Charlotte’s juice box, but they donât know what it was Claudette gave them. She says how do they know it was really a sample from Charlotte? He says the results said they were related. Who else could it be? Wait for it…
Obrecht is talking to Ava at the bar. They discuss Morganâs death. Obrecht says Morganâs treatment obviously wasnât working properly. If it had, he never would have gotten in the car. It was the medication failure that really killed him.
Hayden gets to Evanâs room and heâs ready to get busy. She wants a libation to get her in the mood. He throws several mini bottles on the bed for her. He says too much of a good thing leads to not enough of a good thing, so heâs passing. She doesnât want to drink alone, so he guzzles one.
Finn asks if Tracy saw Hayden. Tracy says she was too busy worrying about him. Finn says that Hayden got in the elevator with the tool. Tracy says theyâre consenting adults, but Finn says Hayden might do something she regrets. Tracy asks if thatâs a problem for him.
Nell gives Sonny some aspirin. He’s been sleeping in a chair, and she thinks he might be less restless in his own bed. He says he might as well stay awake, since heâll only dream. Nell talks about her best friend who she drove to a party. When her friend was ready to leave, Nell was didn’t want to, so she got a ride home from someone. They’d been drinking, crashed the car and her friend was killed. She wonders what life would be like if sheâd stuck by her but what good does it do? She still dreams about it, and her thinking isnât the same. Sonny says he saw Morgan as a little boy. He said, “Daddy, come find me,” and Sonny couldnât find him.
Ava says Obrecht might be on to something. Theyâll never know if tragedy could have been avoided; it will remain a mystery. Obrecht says Morgan’s mother will want answers, so maybe not. She says Carly could have the medication tested. Sheâll have Andre’s head and Sonny will bury it. Ava has to leave and calls Scotty in the hallway. She tells him where her will is, just in case. She says sheâs on her way to deal with an urgent matter and itâs possible she might not come back alive.
Nathan asks Maxie to watch Charlotte. Heâs going to see Griff. Heâs the most likely candidate, and if anyone can get the truth, itâs him.
Griff says sorry. Claudette says she isnât, and enough with his promises to God. She tells him to stop lying to himself and denying himself. He already turned from the church to her. She suggests they run away together.
Evan wants to get the party started, but Hayden says sheâs not comfortable until he does his half of the deal. He says chicks always want the money up front. She says sheâs not doing this or this – although we don’t see what she’s doing – ha-ha! – until it happens, and he says heâll get his checkbook. I guess this and this was pretty good.
Tracy tells Finn to intervene, but he says Hayden will get the wrong idea. Tracy says heâs resisting the urge to play hero, which she thinks is the right call. She says Hayden is a big girl, but she wants him to do what makes him happy. If he doesn’t find a cure, his time is limited, so he can spend it on intervening in other peopleâs lives or save himself. If he focuses on the latter, heâll have time for the former.
Evan writes a check and gives it to Hayden. She wants to go deposit it immediately, but he stops her. He says itâs time for her to pay up. And why wouldn’t she think of the possibility of him stopping payment if she doesn’t come back?
Nell says Avery is asleep, so if it helps, she can keep Sonny company. He says heâs fine and sheâs done enough. She says he doesnât have to go through this alone. Jason and Kristina called and there are a lot of people who care. He says if he canât be with Carly, he wants to be alone. Nell leaves.
Finn looks at the bill on Evanâs table and finds the room number. He goes upstairs and bursts in the door.
The doorbell rings as Sonny is looking at pictures. Itâs Ava.
Maxie calls Obrecht, telling her itâs an emergency and she needs to come over right now. Obrecht says sheâs on her way.
Griff says heâs not thinking clearly, and Claudette says itâs because heâs being someone he isnât meant to be. They can be together now, so why donât they try it. He asks about leaving Charlotte and she says she doesnât want to leave her, but sheâs safer with her father. Nathan is standing there and says, but heâs not her father, Griff is.
Ava wants ot see Avery. Sheâs concerned because she called and a strange girl answered, telling her Sonny wouldn’t come to the phone. He says he doesnât feel like talking, especially to her. She says sheâs sorry about Morgan, and he says sheâs the worst thing that happened to him. He tells her he tolerates her for Averyâs sake, but not tonight. She says whatever conflict he has with Julian isnât with her; sheâs out of that life for Averyâs sake. She asks about taking Avery temporarily, but he says no. She asks where Carly is and he tells her, not here. She asks if Carly left him.
Evan is passed out, and Finn asks what happened. Finn asks if Evan hurt her, but she says he was on the verge of passing out two vodkas ago. She wants Finn to help her get Evan into bed. If he thinks they didnât do the deed, he might cancel the check.
Maxie asks Obrecht to watch Charlotte for a while. Sheâs excited, but Maxie tells her donât get too attached, because Claudette lied again and Nathan isnât the father.
Nathan tells Claudette and Griff about Maxie getting Charlotte retested. He figured out on the way there that the hair was from his mother. He says Claudette knew a test was coming eventually, and it explains why the test shows they share DNA when itâs a lie. Griff says Claudette wouldnât stoop so low and Nathan says, oh yes she would. Claudette admits she took the hair from Obrechtâs brush and Griff is the father.
Ava says Sonny wonât make it through this without Carly. She says she hates to admit it, but Avery needs both of them, especially now with her family on the verge of fracture. She says hold on to Carly, or do whatever he needs to get her back, for Avery and for Morgan. Itâs what he would have wanted.
Obrecht says Nathan is the father, there was a test. Maxie says Claudette fooled everyone, except her. She had her own test done. She says sheâs sorry, but itâs not true. Obrecht says sheâll make Claudette regret she was born. Maxie says she needs her to babysit right now. Sheâll be back as soon as she can.
Nathan asks why Claudette did this. What satisfaction does she get from stepping on his heart and what did he ever do to her? She says she needed his help. They were married once and he loved her. so she took a gamble that he’d love Charlotte. She says if Valentin knew Griff was Charlotte’s father, heâd go after him. She knew Nathan could protect her. Claudette says she knows he doesnât believe it, but sheâs sorry. She asks if Griff wants to meet his daughter.
Hayden shows Finn the check and says itâs for funding. He asks if she was going to sleep with this idiot for him? She says no, she only wanted him to think that. Boys always think they can out drink her. She asks him again to help her get Evan into the bed. Finn says thereâs not enough hand sanitizer in the world, but helps anyway. She better take off Evan’s pants or he won’t think they did anything. She sets the stage and says when he comes to, heâll think she gave him the night of his life. She says Finn should cash the check asap though. Finn is full of what ifs. Hayden asks how he found her and if he was following her. He says he saw the room number on the bar bill and she asks why heâs there. He says he was worried about her. She says what would have happened if he came in and found them together, and whatâs it to him?
Hayden says she knows the real reason he came. He thought she was going to have sex with that jerk and was going to stop it, but she stopped all by herself. She says he thinks if sheâs going to have sex with anyone, itâs him, and heâs not dead yet. She gets him laughing, and asks if they’re moving because the room is spinning. They sit on the floor.
Nathan comes back and says Charlotte has been though enough already, so be gentle. Obrecht tells Claudette she owes her some answers. Nathan asks why Obrecht is there, and she says Maxie told her everything. She’s babysitting because Maxie had something urgent.
Maxie goes to Claudetteâs place. Thereâs no answer, even though music is blasting, so she lets herself in with a bootleg key, thanks to Spinelli. She calls out for Claudette. She wants a word with Claudette’s lying, piece of trash self. A bearded guy comes out of the other room.
Claudette introduces Charlotte to Griff. This child is going to be seriously confused. When they wrote that kids book about having two daddies, I don’t think this is what they meant.
Maxie apologizes, and starts to leave, but bearded guy grabs her from behind.
Sonny says Ava is the last person who should be speaking for Morgan. She says she can speak for Avery, and Sonny needs space to grieve and has to get on with the business of healing, so he can be there for his daughter. He says sheâs got five minutes with Avery and then he doesnât want to see her again. She goes upstairs.
Ava sneaks into Morganâs room. She looks at his pills and takes one the bottles, She drops it and it rolls under the bed. She gets on the floor to retrieve it and when she gets up, Nell is there. If she’s smart, she’ll tell Sonny what Obrecht told her about the medication, and say she was going to have it tested.
Tomorrow, Carly tells Sonny that she’ll always love him, Nell wants to know what Ava is doing, and Claudette wants Charlotte out of Port Charles.
Little Women: LA
Terra is still upset about the baby name. She thinks Joe changed his mind because of other people’s influence. She feels like they made a mistake naming the baby Grayson. She wants DâArtagnan in there somewhere. Joe agrees to it as a middle name.
Maverick is six weeks old and not showing any signs of the heath issues that can come with dwarfism. Briana talks to Matt about Christy wanting to apologize. Even though Christy  wasnât invited to the sip and see, Elena and Jasmine made her a topic of conversation. Matt doesnât think Christy has a sincere bone in her body, but Briana is torn. Christy is friends with Brianaâs friends, and she thinks that she should confront her for the sake of the group.
Terra is managing two babies while packing for the move, and hanging on to whatâs left of her sanity. Elena comes over for a visit. Terra tells her about the DâArtagnan issue. Elena says no one else has to like it. Terra tells Elena about her Dancing with the Stars gig. Elena is like, you just left the hospital, but Terra is more concerned about dancing with an average sized person. Elena is supportive.
Elena tells Terra about the sip and see, and how Christy wasnât invited, but they discussed her while they were there. She says she met with Christy later, but it didnât go well. We flash back to that. Elena says Christy is desperate to defend herself and she forgives her, but it will be harder with the others. She tells Terra about how Christy wished she hadnât gone to the police or Brianaâs family, and now wants to apologize to everyone.
Dawn (from Little Women NY) visits Christy. No surprise theyâre friends. Oh ho! She was behind the police report filing. Theyâre getting a massage and Christy tells Dawn about her apology tour and shows her an invite to a casino get together. Dawn asks why she felt compelled to highlight her medical records in the slot machine graphic. In her interview, Christy says no one wants to believe she had a concussion. She says sheâll apologize about everything, but she also deserves an apology. Dawn wants to know if sheâs including the medical records to prevent people from coming, and asks what makes Christy think things will go smoothly. Dawn says sheâll be there for support, but thinks Christy has a lot of hatchets buried and has run out of olive branches.
Elena and Preston bring the twins for a photo session. The photos are beautiful, but they’re a seriously good-looking family. Elena canât believe how fast the babies are growing. Elena discusses genetic testing for the babies with Preston. She wants to put her fears to rest, or at least know what sheâs dealing with. She thinks itâs time to find out.
Jasmine and Briana go shopping. Jasmine is looking for a bassinet. Jasmine asks if Briana got Christyâs invitation to the casino. Briana says yes, and she feels bi-polar about it. In her interview, she says she was ready to give Christy another chance, but calling Terra out with the medical records makes her wonder whatâs in store for her. She says sheâs disgusted with Christy as a person. She understands where Jasmine is coming from in wanting peace, but Christy hurt her deeply, and she doesnât want Christy to think theyâre cool if she goes. In her interview, Jasmine thinks Briana shouldnât throw away the friendship, especially since she could forgive Matt. Well, thatâs a little different. She doesnât sleep with Christy.
Itâs move-in day! Joe has left for a gig (geez, thanks Joe – nice planning), and Tonya comes to the new house to help. Tonya asks if the movers are going to help unpack and place the furniture, since it would be difficult for the two of them. Before Terra investigates this, Tonya asks if she got Christyâs invitation. Terra says sheâs proud of how classy Christy was to include her medical information. They talk about Christy having been in abusive relationships, and Terra says thereâs no indication as to when she got a concussion. In her interview, Terra says sheâs surprised Christy can get one since she has such a thick skull. BA-DUM-CHH! Terra has no intention of being her friend again, and says Christy is never going to see the baby or come to her new house.
Jasmine and Elena get ready for casino night. Jasmine says Christy has made a lot of mistakes. Elena is tired of the group being split. Jasmine thinks Briana and Terra are being stubborn. Jasmine thinks Christy has a lot of apologizing to do, but is puzzled as to why sheâd put her medical records on the invitation. Because she’s stupid that way, that’s why. Elena says their conversation was about fixing things, not digging them up. She says they can only do so much and Christy has to do the rest.
Besides Dawn, Christy has invited two other friends, Karla and Rhonnie, who reminds me of New York from Flavor of Love, or what I used to call The Big Ass Clock Man Show. Even though she doesnât know anything about it, Rhonnie says the other girls bully Christy and Karla says Christy is the best person in the world. Elena arrives first and is irritated that Christy invited Dawn. She thinks Christy is just trying to start drama again. Tonya joins them. Sheâs annoyed at seeing Dawn too. She doesnât think itâs going to be a fun girls night out apology time. Elena wins at Blackjack, but doesnât understand how she did it.
Rhonnie tells Tonya she seems bothered. Christy asks if Terra and Brianna are coming. Tonya says Terra thought her invitation was condescending and isnât going to be there. In her interview, Christy is glad, because it proves she made the right decision. This girl is what Dr. Phil calls a “right fighter.” She only cares about proving her point. Rhonnie tries to cause problems, criticizing the way Tonya delivered the message. In her interview, Tonya says Rhonnie needs to stay in her lane.
Elena tells Christy that Briana feels that Christyâs intentions arenât genuine. Karla asks if anyone cares about Christyâs feelings. Jasmine says she should ask Briana about that. Karla thinks theyâre going behind Christyâs back and starts telling Jasmine how she should behave. Jasmine says she tried to get Briana there, but she chose not to come. Karla says everything is going to turn back on her, making everyone uncomfortable.
Tonya asks Jasmine and Elena if they want to play the slots. In her interview, Christy wonders how she can fix things if they donât want to stick around. She might try actually fixing things instead of starting more things. Elena says she spent too much time trying to convince Christy to apologize and reconnect, and Christy brought other people to start more sh*t. Tonya says theyâve been bamboozled again.
Christy doesnât understand. Rhonnie says it was like follow the leader when Tonya wanted to go. She says Christy could sprout wings and a halo and they still wouldnât like her. She says Tonya was talking trash about saying hell would have to freeze over for Terra to show up, when she’d said something different before. Dawn thinks they should confront her.
Tonya, Jasmine and Elena go for a drink. Jasmine texts Christy to try and smooth things over before it gets out of control. All of them show up at the girls’ table. Tonya says they just wanted to talk to Christy, and the night wasnât what they thought it was going to be. Jasmine says she didnât understand the medical report. Christy asks why they think sheâs a liar. Tonya says she embellishes. Dawn says Christy proved she had a concussion, and Tonya says she thinks itâs from an abusive ex. Dawn sticks her humongous-for-a-little-person nose in it, and Tonya wonders why sheâs there.
Christy pulls out some more medical documents. Tonya asks why she brought them, and suggests they move on. Jasmine and Elena are pissed off, because Christy said she was over it. Christy says she doesn’t see how they can understand her side when they wonât acknowledge sheâs right. (See? What did I say?) She says it’s like they’re wearing blinders. Tonya says the person she needs to prove something to isnât there. She brings up Christy bringing Plastic to the photo shoot. This will never, ever be forgotten. Christy says she brought other friends to the casino because she felt alone. Tonya says sheâs invited Christy everywhere, but sheâs burning her bridges with all of them.
Rhonnie asks what the problem is with them being there. Tonya says she doesnât know them and Dawn encouraged Christy pressing charges. Christy thinks they should go around the table and say sorry. I’ll just bet that when she was a drinker, she was one of those people who says, “we were all drunk,” when they were the drunk who created the mess the night before. Rhonnie says she doesnât think Christy owes anyone an apology. Tonya says she wasn’t there. Christy just wants to move on. Elena says Christy claimed her apology was going to be so good, everyone would cry. That still might happen. Elena says she doesn’t need any apology, but why doesn’t Christy start with ruining Tonya’s photo shoot?
Christy says sheâs sorry for what she said to Tonya. Tonya is like, I didn’t come here for all of this. Karla tries to get involved, but Tonya shuts her down. She says sheâs not blaming Christy for anything. Everyone starts yelling at once. Elena wants to know why they’re wasting their time, and why are these strangers getting involved? Good question. Jasmine says itâs between them. Rhonnie talks about Tonya making comments when they were playing Blackjack. Tonya says she was having a private conversation. Rhonnie tells her she should have it somewhere private then. Tonya gets loud and Elena tries to intervene. The argument culminates with Karla calling Tonya a @#$%^& bitch. Tonya says she’ll do what she wants.
To be continued…
Next time, Terra refuses to be in Christy’s life anymore, Terra is worried about the height difference on Dancing with the Stars, and the girls go on a survivalist retreat. Oh, swell.
What I Watched Today
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
General Hospital
Nathan prepares a candlelight dinner to make things up to Maxie. He wants them to have some alone time. He says it will be a while until dinner is ready, so they start to get busy. Thereâs a knock at the door. Itâs Claudette, who apparently has radar. She says she knows theyâre in there because she can smell dinner. Huh? How does she know they donât have a crockpot? Sheâs brought Charlotte. She asks if sheâs interrupting dinner…or something. Sheâs so annoying, I canât stand it.
Anna is at the gym using a punching bag. Griff asks if she wants to talk. She says she thought it was over, that she could figure out a way to handle Julianâs release. She says innocent people are dying because of him, and because she didn’tâ do enough to keep him off the streets.
Tracy tells Finn about Lucy saying she should buy the hospital. She says if she had that kind of money, she wouldnât be dealing with a board. He starts to cough, and she asks how heâs doing. Hayden pops in and seconds that.
Franco tells Elizabeth he thinks he has a way for GH to reopen. Elizabeth asks Franco to meet her at Kellyâs later.
Anna says Morgan is collateral damage in a hit intended for Julian. Sonny was out for blood and is responsible for the death of his own son, and sheâs responsible too. She didnât make anyone aware of what she suspected, and Morganâs death is on her hands. Griff says no, but she tells him he canât possibly know what sheâs feeling right now.
Claudette tells Nathan that she was at the park and thought of something. Sheâs sorry for slowing down the process of Nathan and Maxie getting to know Charlotte. She asks if theyâd like to look after her.
Finn asks to talk to Hayden alone. Tracy takes her martini to the terrace. Hayden asks what happened to Finnâs research breakthrough, and he says it was a bust. He ran a trial on himself and it didnât work. She asks if heâs doing it in his hotel room and tells him heâs going to end up killing himself.
Claudette doesnât want to drag Charlotte around to her meetings and interviews, so she thought Nathan and “his little friend” could spend some time with her. Theyâre hesitant, but agree. Claudette leaves and the smoke alarm goes off. Nathan runs to the kitchen.
Anna says every corner she comes to, she faces a mistake sheâs made. Griff says thereâs plenty of blame to dole out, but he hates hearing her say that itâs her burden. She says she owns her responsibility. Robert calls and she asks if Griff wants to have dinner later, but he begs off. She says theyâll talk tomorrow. She leaves and Griff punches the bag.
Finn says running clinical trials on himself is his only shot. Hayden says he looks tired and weak. He says heâs fine. Tracy cut him slack at GH, but heâs not going to find anywhere else where heâll get the same treatment. Evan, the guy who sent Hayden the champagne, enters the restaurant, and Hayden introduces them. Evan is obviously a poser, and she tells him to get a table. Finn tells Hayden that Evan seems like a real winner. She tells him be careful with himself and joins Evan.
Elizabeth sees Laura and asks how Spencer is. Laura says heâs adjusting well being away from her, but she wishes she could do the same. Elizabeth asks about Dante and Lulu. Laura says theyâre doing as well as they can. She tells Elizabeth that sheâs made a decision. Sheâs going to sell Wyndemere.
Franco visits Heather. She wants to know what heâs been creating since GH shut down. He says heâs been distracted. She wants to know if heâs still hung up on Elizabeth. He says he is, but sheâs thinking of moving to Rochester. Heather asks why, when Port Charles is so exciting? Ha-ha! Although itâs more exciting than where I live. He tells Heather that Elizabeth needs work since the hospital shut down. Heather says they caught the killer and put the nutjob away. He tells her not the one who attacked Bobbie and Lucas, and she says itâs a major bummer. He tells her that the police have no idea, but she does. She says she only knows what she reads in the papers. He says he has no idea how she did it, but he knows it was her.
Heather tells Franco besides his good looks, she knows theyâre related because of their imaginations. He reminds her that she told him sheâd done something to protect him when he was a suspect. She says all right, he got her. She injected Bobbie and Lucas, but they lived. She says she knew heâd be at the Nurses Ball and would have an alibi. He says itâs unbelievable. She says whatâs unbelievable was Lucas forgetting his keys and coming back in; who does that? Franco says Lucas saved his mother’s life, and Heather says that it messed up hers. Franco knows that she did it out of maternal concern, but he needs her to do one more thing to prove that she loves him.
Elizabeth says sheâs supportive of Laura selling. Laura says thereâs very little cash on hand and Elizabeth says sheâs sorry Laura feels pressured. Laura says if she sold just one property, she could preserve the rest of the Cassadine estate, and thatâs what Nicholas would want. She says thereâs also no way sheâs living in the same house with a woman she canât stand.
Evan talks…and talks…and talks. Tracy says sheâs glad Finn hashed out his personal life. He says it was nothing personal. Tracy says she knows sparks when she sees them – and there are sparks. Finn calls Evan a tool, but not just because Hayden is on a date with him. Evan talks some more. He tells Hayden he looks over grant proposals and peaks her interest. Theyâre medical research grants.
Anna talks on her cell phone at the bar. Andre comes in. She tells him that Robert is exasperating. Andre says he thought they were the best of exes, and Anna says they are, when theyâre not yelling at each other. Robert wants her to go back to work at the WSB.
Claudette goes to the gym and says she thought sheâd find Griff there. She says itâs like Hellâs Kitchen all over again and goes down Memory Lane. He asks what she wants. She says she wants him. Sheâs figured out a way for them to be together.
Nathan, Maxie and Charlotte have pizza. Thereâs a knock at the door. Itâs a delivery for Maxie – the DNA test results.
Heather says sheâd do anything to prove how much she loves Franco. He says confess, and she tells him anything but that. He talks about GH staying shut and gives all the reasons why it should reopen. Heather says the only reason he wants it open is to date Elizabeth, and sheâs upset at him choosing Elizabeth over her. If she confesses, sheâs ll lose her privileges and there will be no more sneaking around. He says she gives him no choice and leaves with her calling after him not to go.
Laura tells Elizabeth sorry for leaving her sister with no place to live. Elizabeth says thereâs no sibling relationship, and if Hayden ends up on the street, sheâll figure it out like she always does. Sheâs never met anyone so selfish.
Hayden tells Evan that she has a friend who is in dire need of a grant, and asks if he could expedite one. He says absolutely. She doesnât know how to thank him and he says sure she does. Ugh! Double tool.
Tracy asks where Hayden met her tool, but Finn doesnât want to talk about it, and suggests they talk about the hospital. Tracy says theyâre not going to reopen unless whoever attacked Bobbie and Lucas is caught, and every day theyâre closed, theyâre hemorrhaging money. She tells Finn she knows he needs a place for his research, but all is not lost.
Anna says sheâs not really entertaining the job offer, but she wanted to hear Robert out. He wants her to train new agents. Andre says thatâs up her alley, but she says itâs in Geneva. Sheâd have to leave Port Charles. He asks if sheâs going to take it.
Griff tells Claudette not to reminisce; there was never anything between them except lies. She says everything is out in the open now, and they can start over. He says heâs a priest, but she says his Holy Orders should be just a memory at this point. She tells him about leaving Charlotte at Nathanâs and has no reason to think it wonât work out. He asks if she plans on leaving Charlotte there permanently.
Maxie talks about the wedding, and Nathan asks if sheâs okay. She say yes. He tells Charlotte not to touch stuff on Maxieâs desk, and picks up the test result envelope. He asks if she did this without asking him. Well thatâs a stupid question.
Laura says itâs good to see Elizabeth out and about. Elizabeth says she dropped off some treats for Franco and he asked her to go to dinner. She thanks Laura for not jumping all over it. Laura says she knows what itâs like to fall for someone with a dark side. Elizabeth says people think sheâs crazy, and Laura says her too. Laura tells her that if she feels the good outweighs the bad, then more power to her. Elizabeth hopes that the people closest to her see what she sees one day, or at least accept that sheâs happy. Laura asks if sheâs falling in love with him. Franco stands around the corner, listening.
Hayden asks Evan if heâs for real. He says he could say the same about her. She calls him disgusting and he says no more than she is. The date was going nowhere until he said he gave away money. She ends up throwing her martini in his face. She tells him that the next time a woman shows interest in his work, not to assume sheâll exchange sex for a favor.
Finn has a coughing jag.
Anna says her first impulse was to say no., but the long answer is more complicated. She says every time she turns a corner in Port Charles, she thinks about how she compromised herself, and doesnât think that she has a purpose there. Andre says what about door number three? The Anna he knows would come up with another option.
Claudette tells Griff that Nathan can take care of Charlotte better than she can. She says he already loves her, and Charlotte is safer without Claudette drawing attention to her. Sheâs made mistake after mistake. Nathan is good person and Maxie is annoying, but a good mother. Claudette says the only time she was good was when she was with Griff. Donât do it, Griff.
Nathan asks how Maxie could do this. She says the longer it drags out, the longer Claudette will manipulate everyone. Sheâs using Charlotte as a tool – a different kind than Evan. Nathan says she ran the test without his consent and knowledge, and throws it into the trash. He says when he runs one, it will be the right way. Maxie says sheâs not letting it go, and opens the envelope, saying that heâll thank her one day.
Anna tells Robert sheâll rejoin the bureau, but she has something in mind other than the teaching position.
Tracy tells Finn that heâs scaring her, but he says heâs fine.
Hayden tells Evan sheâll go along with it. He asks why he should after what she did. She tells him to take her someplace private and sheâll explain.
Laura asks if Elizabeth is in love with Franco, but theyâre interrupted by a phone call. Laura has to go. Franco pretends to suddenly be walking by, and tells Elizabeth he thinks he has what he needs to get the hospital reopened. He shows her his phone. It has a recording on it.
Nathan is not Charlotteâs father.
Claudette says Griff makes her a good person. He says he canât save her soul and isnât sure he can save anyone. She says to let her save his then.
Tomorrow, Claudette asks Griff to run away with her, Hayden goes to Evanâs room, Ava says something will remain a mystery.
Below Deck
The crew is relaxing poolside at the resort. In his interview, Ben says that heâs getting older and should probably start taking relationships more seriously. he thinks it’s time to meet someone he can see himself with.
In her interview, Kate says that absence has made the heart grow fonder with her and Ro. Lauren is bummed because everyone is coupling up and she gets a friend in Nico. Emily talks to Sierra about Kelley being hot, but not her type, so itâs awkward. Kelley thinks she believes heâs a musclehead and Kyle tells him sheâs very posh because of where sheâs from. Emily questions Ben on how he feels about Kate dating a woman because she wouldn’t want to see someone she dated with some dude. Ben says he takes it as a compliment. Ha-ha!
Lots of PDA with Kate and Ro back on the boat.In her interview, Kate talks about how in the first few months of a relationship, you canât get enough. Truth!
Captain Lee wants to make Kelley more proactive. He says he canât just sit in the crew mess waiting for the captain to tell him what to do. Heâs not impressed with someone who just does what theyâre supposed to do; heâs impressed with someone who goes beyond. He tells Kelley that a good idea would be to find out what the guests want and stay a step ahead of them.
Ben tells Emily that Kate and Ro are a noisy couple. Itâs time for Ro to leave and she compliments the dishes Ben has lined up and hugs him. In his interview, he says meeting Ro was odd, but heâs happy if Kateâs happy. Really. Lots of good-by kisses. Kate isnât going to see Ro until the season is over and she calls it a âmidpoint check-in.â
The dreaded slide is here. Nobody likes them. Theyâre big and cumbersome and hard to set up. Every crew curses the slide. Even Captain Lee curses it. He wants them to unfold it on the dock since thereâs more room. The captain gives them instructions, and Kelley feels micromanaged.
Sierra talks to Kyle about how he got into yachting. In his interview, he says he falls in love quickly. He tells her about how much he loves fishing and food. She thinks heâs entertaining even if she canât understand a word heâs saying.
Kate thinks Emily and Ben could be cute together. Kyle is going to MoneyGram and asks Sierra if she wants to come. He needs to send money back home for his daughter. He doesn’t have a relationship with the mother who he’d gotten pregnant on their first date. He says heâll make sure she’ll never have to work again though. Wow. He doesnât want to tell Sierra how old his baby momma is, because people think sheâs too young for him.
The primary guests are Steve and Rachel, and they’re bringing along several other people. Kate thinks it looks like their photo is from Dancing with the Stars.Steve is in finance and intends to propose to his girlfriend the first night because it’s Valentine’s Day. Ben suggests doing it on the second night in case she says no. Captain Lee says itâs not his call, although they should have a contingency plan. Kate suggests lifeboats. She asks how the captain proposed and he blows the question off.
Itâs Valentineâs Day and Kelley hints around to Emily, but sheâs not receptive . The captain is disgusted that the crew left their garbage from last night’s dinner on the table. Emily tells Kate that no one has ever given her flowers. Kate tells Ben maybe he should get her some, and gives him suggestions. In her interview, Kate says Emily is perfect for Ben, especially with her English upbringing. The captain calls the crew to clean up their mess in the mess.
The flowers are delivered. Theyâre beautiful, a blue rose bouquet with one red one, but Ben is getting cold feet. The guests arrive and Ben runs with the flowers to put them on Emily’s bunk. The captain is annoyed that Ben isn’t on deck to greet the guests. He flies in at the last second.
The ladies all get small bouquets along with their champagne. Kate does the usual tour. Emily sees the display on her bunk. Sheâs very impressed. In her interview, she says it touched her heart and she canât stop smiling.
Steve talks to Kate about his proposal. Sierra hugs Ben and thanks him. Kate acts surprised. Emily says sheâll be smiling all day, and Ben says thatâs what he wanted. In her interview, Emily says a small gesture like that can change the way you feel about someone. Kate gets the ring from Steveâs luggage so she give it to one of the other guests to hold. She tries it on in the galley. Itâs okay. Itâs big, thatâs for sure. Emily tells Sierra about Ben giving her flowers and they get giggly.
The tuna dish Ben makes is to die for. The guests say it tastes good too. Like I doubted that. The deckhands set up all the toys because Kelley is being proactive and thinks the guests will want them – without asking them. Lauren asks the guests if they want to get in the water while the other deckhands do pull-ups on the deck. The guests have decided on snorkeling.
Ben discusses the dinner with Emily. Heâs thinking about a red velvet cake. The captain hears the deckhands messing with the pool. They have to pull it in for the guests to go snorkeling. Apparently, Kelleyâs proactiveness went to far. Nico says Kelleyâs hat is on backwards so that means heâs serious. The captain wonders how they can turn something so simple into a difficulty. He comes down to the deck and Kelley feels micromanaged again. Captain Lee says they donât look like seasoned professionals and says Kelley needs more lessons in line handling. Finally, the guests get on the small boat to head out.
Sierra tells Emily that Kyle has a daughter. She says sheâs not saying it puts her off, but itâs a lot of pressure. The guests snorkel and itâs amazingly beautiful under the water. Kelley says worst. day. ever. and wonders why everything backfires on him. Nico is annoyed that Kelley gets to go on a snorkeling trip while they get stuck finishing the pool job.
Emily chats with Kelley. In her interview, she doesnât want to hurt him and says itâs a little awkward. Ben has never cooked a proposal dinner and itâs nerve wracking. He says imagine if she said no because he overcooked her steak, and I laugh. Kate says love is everywhere. Emily talks to Sierra about Kyle. She just wants to hang out and get to know each other.
Kate tells Ben heâs been affected by the love bug and he tells her to cut it out. The entree is filet mignon with some kind of corn thing and looks phenomenal. By the time dessert happens, Steve looks like heâs going to pass out. Kate says sheâs scared, since this could go really good or really bad. Steve gets up and talks about how itâs been the best day of his life and how fortunate he is. He says he wants to keep the good times going and asks Rachel to marry him. He seems like a really nice guy and obviously loves her. She says yes and everyone cries. Kate says this day in their lives is gong to be talked about for a long time.
Sierra is going fishing with Kyle. She thought maybe Kelly and Emily would like to come along. The other deckhands listen at the door. Kyle is annoyed that Sierra wants to invite everyone since he thought of it as a date. Nico is annoyed that he and Lauren will have to work while the others go fishing.
There are rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed in Steve and Rachelâs cabin. They profess their love for one another. Sierra thinks Kyle might be expecting too much. She tells him sheâs sorry and she thought the more the merrier. Nico thinks they should do it on their own time and gripes to Lauren.
Kate asks Ben what his dwarf mood is, and he tells her it’s Bashful. He says he feels like a young schoolgirl. What? Kate thinks itâs romantic and he should use that line on Emily. No, don’t. In his interview, Ben says itâs been many years since he asked an English rose out, if ever. Kate keeps making suggestions and he says while he appreciates it, he wants to just digest the idea.
Ben digests enough and talks to Kate on the deck. Sheâs convinced that Emily will say yes to the date, but Ben is doubtful. She gives him a pep talk. In her interview, she says sheâs never seen Ben this way around any girl. Ben goes to the galley and asks Emily if sheâd like to go to dinner. She says that would be lovely. Kelley and Kate listen in. Ben tells Kate the good news. She thinks itâs cute that heâs nervous and proud.
Nest time, Kate tells Sierra to give peace Kyle a chance, Ben and Emily go to dinner, and Kelley gets angry with Sierra.
What I Watched Today

Tracy confronts Lucy, telling her that GH is on the chopping block and she’s the executioner.
Curtis meets with TJ. He says heâs sorry about Morgan, but he knows TJ was one of the last ones to see him alive. TJ says he was worried about Morgan, but not scared. Curtis asks what he saw exactly.
Carly looks at a little ceramic turtle and cries. The doorbell rings. She says itâs not a good time, but itâs Jason. She lets him in and hugs him.
Tracy wants to know what Alan or her father would say about Lucy selling off GH to the highest bidder. Lucy says itâs the Quartermaines’ fault in the first place, due to Tracy’s deranged ex-husband.
Elizabeth brings Franco some Rice Krispy treats. He says he has no excuse for not tidying up his place, but lacks motivation. She looks through his drawings and finds one of her.
TJ says Morgan drinking was a warning sign. Curtis tells him that he did everything he could and got punched for it, but TJ thinks he should have been more aggressive. Curtis says he had no way of knowing what could happen, and no one could ask more of him than what he did. TJ says itâs not enough that Morgan lost his life, but on top of it, everything he was going to do will never happen. He adds that Sonny might have planted the bomb.Curtis asks if thereâs an official investigation.
Carly tells Jason that she couldnât even take her suitcase upstairs. She doesnât know how to do this or get Josslyn through it. He asks if Josslyn knows about Sonny, and Carly says Kristina told her. He asks why sheâs there, and she says where is she supposed to be? He tells her at home. She and Sonny lost their son and need each other.
Julian tells Sonny that he came to offer his condolences and Sonny laughs. Julian says just because theyâre enemies doesnât mean they canât behave like human beings. He says he knows Sonny still holds grudge about Morgan working for him. Sonny says the only thing he wants to hear about is why Julian is there. Julian says the bomb that killed Morgan was meant to kill him.
Franco tells Elizabeth that he distracted himself by drawing when he stayed with her at the hospital. She tells him how appreciative she is that he stayed by her bedside and thanks him for making her look good in the drawing. He encourages her to paint again. She says her masterpiece will have to wait since her bank account says go back to work.
Tracy says Paul tried to kill her and Monica too. Lucy says sheâs sorry, and of course Tracy isn’t responsible. Tracy wants to reopen the hospital instead of selling it. Lucy suggests she buy it.
TJ thinks Curtis should talk to Jordan. Curtis asks if he saw anything out of the ordinary that night. TJ wonders why heâs asking, and he says heâs just curious. TJ isn’t fooled and knows he must be doing a private investigation, but Curtis says he canât talk about that.
Carly calls Nell to keep an eye on Avery. Nell overhears Sonny and Julian. Sonny tells Julian to take his best shot about planting the bomb. Julian says the business has already spilled enough blood on both sides, and they need to end the cycle. Sonny asks why he should care what Julian wants. Julian says it works to their mutual advantage. Heâs not going to retaliate and neither is Sonny.
Jason tells Carly thereâs a simple solution – go home. She says every time she looks at Sonny she thinks about how she wonât see Morgan again. Jason says he called off the hit. She says it doesn’t matter; he ordered it in the first place. Jason says no matter how it happened, Sonny lost his child too, and they need each other. She says all she needs is him. He tells her that he wishes he was enough, but heâs not. He wishes he could make everything all right, but he canât and Sonny can.
Franco asks if GH is officially open. Elizabeth says she misses being there as a nurse, but she hasnât heard anything and she needs a paycheck yesterday. The other hospitals in the area are staffed up, so she needs to widen her search. She talks about going to Rochester.
Lucy says Tracy could help future generations the way the hospital has helped her family. She tells Tracy to put her money where her mouth is and save it herself.
Curtis asks how TJ would know who heâs working for. TJ says he’s following the logic. He figures itâs either Julian or Sonny, but Curtis isn’t going to say. TJ is happy that Curtis is out there digging, because he wants to know too.
Sonny says Julian has been gunning for him since he got to Port Charles. He goes through what Julian has done since his arrival, and says he has nerve saying what he did, since he caused it. Julian says if Sonny comes after him, heâs coming after Carly, and who is Sonny willing to sacrifice? Is he willing to lose more children or his wife?
Carly says part of her wants to make Sonny feel better and let sonny do the same for her, but it wonât change anything. Morgan will still be dead. Jason asks if sheâs willing to lose the father of her kids. She says Sonny killed her son. Jason says something about Sonny keeping his kids safe, and she says he didnât keep Morgan safe.
Elizabeth tells Franco that she has no idea if and when the hospital will open again, and she needs an income. He asks if he can take her to lunch.
Carly tells Jason that she thought this time would be different. She says she thought Sonny would control the violence, but she was naive. She wonders why Morgan got in the car. She says Sonny never lied about who he is; sheâs lied to herself. She says sheâs a mother and her first instinct should be to protect her children, but she married a man who brought violence with him. She even didnât listen when Michael spent a year in a coma, and sheâs never going to forgive herself.
TJ says thereâs a reason people think Sonny is responsible, but for a father to kill his own son…he trails off. Curtis says if anything good can come of it, itâs to appreciate what we have. Heâs glad TJ is back in his life. They agree on getting together to take in a game. TJ leaves.
Tracy says she has to get back to ELQ. She says business has no respect for grief, and they didnât fight to get the company back for it to flounder. Lucy says GHÂ has to open soon or die. Tracy says two of the attacks remain unsolved, so they can’t reopen just yet.
Julian says heâs not there for retaliation; heâs asking that they lay down their arms. He tells Sonny to honor Morgan by stopping the war. Sonny asks how can Julian can talk about honor after what heâs done and says itâs offensive to him. Julian in his house, breathing his air is offensive, and the fact that his beautiful boy is dead is a violation of everything right and just. He tells Julian that if he doesn’t get out, He might balance out the scales right now and end Julian’s miserable life, because he can. Julian leaves and Sonny throws the fruit basket at the wall. Nell asks if heâs okay.
Elizabeth asks Tracy about the unsolved murders. She says Paul has an alibi for Bobbie and Lucas. There are no other suspects, so itâs not safe enough for GH to reopen. Tracy excuses herself to commune with her martinis. Elizabeth tells Franco that maybe she should talk to Patrick and Robin and check out what Berkeley has to offer. Franco says he has another solution that might keep her local.
Sonny apologizes. He forgot Nell was there. He tells her to go home and says heâs not good company right now. She thinks she should stay for Avery and he thanks her. She tells him to get some rest. He tells her he will and says heâs glad sheâs there.
Carly tells Jason to go home to his own family, but he doesnât want her to be alone. She says she wants to be a better mother to Josslyn than she was to Morgan. Jason says sheâs a great mom and Morgan knew it. She asks why heâs dead then. Jason tells her because something completely unexpected and terrible happened. She says Sonny put a bomb in a car that killed her son. Jason says he called it off. Carly says not in time and he tells her that heâs going to investigate what happened. She says it wonât bring him back, but Jason says maybe if he finds out why it happened, it will give them closure.
Julian checks on Curtisâs progress. Curtis is like, you just hired me five minutes ago. He says heâs working on it. Julian says he wants assurances. Curits tells him that heâs starting with TJ. Julian says as long as he has the truth, he can take sonny down. He says he just saw Sonny and heâs a wreck. Curtis says wouldnât Julian be? Julian says Sonny’s guard is down, and now the perfect time to investigate. Curtis says unless heâs too far gone and just comes gunning for him. Julian isnât interested in taking a chance in killing Sonny, but wants to focus on rebuilding his life with Alexis and the kids, and making sure Sonny goes to prison.
Sonny goes to his empty bedroom with a decanter of booze. He looks at a picture of him with Carly. Nell knocks at the door, bringing him tea. She says sheâs all set to read Avery her bedtime story. Sonny says Morgan used to read her stories and act out the parts, and she loved it. Nell says sheâll do her best. She tells him the tea is chamomile and supposed to be calming. He asks her to shut the door on her way out. He looks at family photos next to the bed.
Carly says Jason’s heart is in the right place, but she doesnât care about any of it. In the morning sheâs going to wake up, and for a few seconds forget that Morgan is dead. Then it will hit her that her baby is gone and her husband is responsible, and thereâs no closure. Jason says he tried to save Morgan. He got him to trust him enough to pull over. He felt relieved that Morgan was suddenly not manic, but calm. It should have been okay, but he got out of the car and Jason should have been able to save him. Carly tells him how happy he was that she named Morgan after him. Jason named Michael after Sonny, so she thought it was perfect to name Morgan after him. He says heâs sorry. She shows him the turtle and says all she has left is a memory. She kissed it and a single tear falls.
Lucy tells Tracy she should consider her idea. Tracy says she had no idea Lucy was a jungle animal, stalking prey. Lucy reminds her of how she stole Alan from Monica. She says it wouldn’t be GH, but GH Quartermaine. Tracy drains her martini and gets up.
Franco tells Elizabeth that he might know someone who knows something about what really happened. Heather?
Tomorrow, Anna argues with Griff, Laura wants to sell Windemere, and Franco accuses Heather of the murders.
The Real Housewives of the OC
I thought it was a bad dream, but weâre still in Dublin. Oddly enough, the best thing about this trip is Meghan looking up her ancestors.
Vicki rings Heather, telling her sheâs still in bed. She and Shannon stayed out late drinking. In her interview, Vicki says they reconnected and are on the cusp of being friends again. Heather tells her theyâre going to a farm today. Vicki says âwonderful,â but I laugh because it doesnât sound like she really thinks so.
Kelly and Meghan get room service. Kelly has an emotional hangover. Meghan tells her about what the geneologist said and how she can go to a certain town and will probably be related to everyone. Meghan has arranged for the girls to go to the farm that makes the cream for Baileyâs, but sheâs going to the town today and Kelly is going to join her. Sheâll have company and keep Tamra from killing Kelly.
Everyone else meets in the lobby. Tamra says they can sleep on the bus. Shannon explains about Kelly and Meghan going to find the OâTooles. Vicki is moving pretty slow and manages to get her arm caught on the back door of the bus while putting her bag in.
Meghan and Kelly take a taxi to Greystones where Meghanâs ancestors are from. In her interview, Meghan says she can give the gift of her heritage to her baby, so sheâs more interested in it than ever. An Irish pug sighting! Meghan stops several people, looking for relatives, but finds no one except people who arenât from there. She says itâs harder than she thought. Pretty much everything is harder than Meghan thought.
Meanwhile, the rest of the girls get to the farm. Joe, the owner, says he heard theyâve come to help, and itâs time to milk the cows. Tamra asks if they donât have machines that do that, and they do, but he still wants them to help. Vicki nearly steps in a cow-pie. Iâm guessing there are a lot of those at the farm. Joe claims itâs a landmine. In her interview, Tamra says Vickiâs life story is stepping in sh*t.
The ladies put on boots and those one-piece Hazmat suits. Joe leads them to where the action takes place. Vicki says she doesnât drink milk because it comes out of an animal. Since when is she a vegetarian or vegan or whatever? Heather asks if the cows ever poop while theyâre being milked, and Joe says thatâs why theyâre wearing the suits.
Aww! Here come the cows. They get into position. Fancy Pants volunteers to go first. After leeches, this should be a breeze. She plugs the cow in. Vicki is next, but sheâs obviously freaked and refuses to do it. A cow takes a weewee and the girls run. How did any of them have babies?
In Greystones, Meghan finally finds someone from the town. The woman’s mother was an OâToole, but she has no information. Meghan shows her a picture of her mother and they do look a lot alike. Meghan is excited to meet a cousin, even though she doesnât know for sure. Mission accomplished. They head to the farm.
Heather suggests they just have a peaceful dinner. Tamra says if anyone can test the limits of her faith, itâs Kelly. Well, you failed the last test, so weâll see how this one goes. Kelly feels pretty uncomfortable. Meghan has suggested she just apologize and be done with it. She tells everyone about meeting Francis OâToole. Vicki thinks that beats getting peed on. Joe comes out to tell them thereâs a barbecue going.
A lovely table is set in a pretty barn. Joe claims they have the chef that makes the best steak in the world. Heather calls Terry and Vicki flashes him, telling him that her nipple is too high and asking if he can fix that. Geez, theyâre not even drunk. Kelly is still uncomfortable and feels excluded.
Thereâs an aerial shot of the farm and itâs absolutely beautiful. Tamra says she got close to the cows and now she feels like sheâs eating someoneâs brother. I can understand that. I used to order seafood in a restaurant that had fish tanks for walls and felt weird. Kelly tells Tamra she owes her an apology. She says Tamra is a wonderful mother and she never meant to intentionally hurt her. In her interview, Heather says thereâs a pattern of behaving badly, apologizing, and then saying sheâs not like that. Kelly says sheâs trying to be a better person. Heather brings up that she said it again in the car. Nothing like stirring it a little. Kelly says sheâs being sincere and doesnât want any bad feelings harbored. In her interview, Vicki says she understands, but doesnât know how much to stick her nose in it.
Joe invites the ladies to come for an Irish cream tasting. Kelly apologizes to Tamra again, but Tamra doesnât want to talk about it. In her interview, Tamra says as a Christian sheâs supposed to forgive, but this particular situation is too painful, sensitive and new. Um, I don’t think you’re supposed to pick and choose.
Meghan goes to Tamraâs room. Tamra tells her Heather wants to go bike riding, but she still wants to kill Kelly and needs to stay away from her. She says Kelly is pushing her Christianity. Meghan invites her to go with her to Powerscourt estate and they decide to meet downstairs.
The other girls meet in the lobby. Heather doesnât want to let the pub crawl color anything, so instead of animosity, sheâs just ignoring it. They get picnic baskets from the hotel. Heather says after three days of drinking, riding a bike is tough. Vicki is having a difficult time of it, hitting a curb almost immediately.
Meghan and Tamra take the estate tour. Meghan learns some more about her ancestor who executed people there. She says she can feel that itâs haunted. Okay.
The rest go to Powerscourt Gardens on their bikes. Itâs gorgeous and a picnic blanket has been laid out for them. No surprise, Heather pops some champagne. Kelly says no thanks because she wants to give it a rest. Heather has a flask of Fireball and encourages Kelly to drink. Why? Heather feels like she hasnât seen Meghan the entire trip. She calls and tells Meghan where they are, and suggests she and Tamra join them, but Meghan says theyâll meet later at the hotel. Tamra says she doesnât really want to see Kelly and is hesitant about dinner.
Vicki is the first to arrive for dinner and Kelly follows. Another beautiful table is set outside. In her room, Tamra calls Sarah. Granddaughter Ava has started walking. Heather and Shannon show up with champagne. Heather gossips about Kelly wearing a low-cut blouse to play croquet.
Kelly talks to Vicki, saying itâs the worst trip of her life. In her interview, she says she feels like Vicki has abandoned her. The other ladies arrive. Everyone is wearing black except for Kelly, who is wearing white. Meghan isnât feeling well, so sheâs opted out of dinner. Kelly doesnât want to drink because sheâs tired. Shannon insists tequila is an âupper,â and orders one for her anyway. WTF? These girls complain about Kellyâs drinking and then foist it on her when she doesnât want one. Tamra quietly tells the waiter to make it a double.
Shannon and Heather want to have a shindig for Tamra after her competition, with all the food she hasnât been able to eat. Shannon orders more drinks even before theyâve finished the first one. In her interview, Vicki says Shannon seems like she’s on a mission to get Kelly drunk so sheâll act crazy. She says it smells like Tamra is involved and we flash back to the naked wasted episode with Gretchen. Seriously, what is wrong with these women? I wish Kelly would just not drink.
Kelly says she feels ambushed, but when Shannon asks what she said, she tells Shannon sheâs just talking to herself. In her interview, Kelly says she knows theyâre trying to get her drunk. Heather calls Meghan and they have a toast to the new baby.
Five hours later. Meghan says she suddenly finds out WWIII is happening. After dinner, Vicki went to Tamraâs room with Kelly and invited her out, but she didnât want to go. Tamra, Heather and Shannon go for a drink in the pub. Vicki ends up joining them, so nasty Tamra sends Kelly a selfie of her and Vicki, saying Vicki is talking about her. This is so creepy and mean girl, I canât believe it. Tamra confronts Kelly, saying Vicki told her Kelly was saying things about her. Kelly says she never said anything about Tamra.
On the way to the airport, Kelly tells Shannon she feels ambushed and brings up Shannon pushing the tequila on her and attacking her in the hallway. She attacks Shannon’s appearance. Heather tells Kelly she takes things to a new low. Shannon says Kelly will be lucky to look like her at 52. This whole thing is beyond appalling and makes me embarrassed that Tamra calls herself a Christian. Sheâs basically a public figure and has set no example by what she just did to Kelly – with Shannonâs help. Iâm hating these two right now. Heather tells Tamra that Kelly is insane and she feels sorry for her kid. In her interview, Vicki says Heather has a history of making her friends think theyâre crazy and we flash back to a similar incident with Shannon. Vicki doesnât want to get involved because she doesnât want to be next. OMG – this is seriously just like junior high. Heather tells Kelly that she can’t hurt her with anything she says because she’s trash. A new low for everyone!
Next time, fingers are wagging all over the place, Tamra screams at Vicki, Briana calls Vicki out on being selfish, Shannon is never speaking to Vicki again, and Tamra competes.

Once Upon a Time
I gotta say, Hyde and the Evil Queen make a handsome couple.
Gold fiddles with some kind of magnifying mirror and comes out with a haircut. The Evil Queen is waiting and sheâs impressed at how well heâs cleaned up. Hyde has come with her and says Gold can change the outside, but whatâs inside is still there. Gold tells Hyde to get lost, but Hyde wants a cameo necklace thatâs in Goldâs shop. Hyde isnât offering anything in return, and Gold strangles him without touching him, but he and the Queen just laugh, the Evil Queen telling him that he can’t kill Hyde. Gold letâs go and Hyde sees the necklace. He says it has meaning to him. Heâs going to take it and Gold is going to let him. He says the stories are going to play themselves out, whether Gold likes it or not, and itâs likely not. Gold tells the Evil Queen that she promised not to touch Belle. She says yes, she has a deal with him, but Hyde says he doesn’t.
David cooks a massive breakfast for Emma. He says once Hook moves in with her, they wonât see her as much, but she says sheâll still come for breakfast. Regina comes by with Jekyll. She says Hyde has escaped and when Jekyll woke up, he found a cameo that belonged to someone he cared deeply about.
Back in the day, Jekyll’s friend, Mary, adjusts his tie. She tells him her father is going to be impressed with his research. Jekyll tells her that heâs working on a serum that can separate a manâs personality in two, separating his good nature from the beast inside, so he can be in control. He wants Maryâs father to grant him membership to the science academy, but when her father drops by, he says Jekyllâs work is too dangerous. He and Mary leave and Jekyll smashes stuff.
Rumpelstiltskin pops in and says heâs there to help Jekyll. He has a vested interest in his work. He says that what Jekyll sees as strength might actually be weakness. Jekyll says something about particles that he canât get to do whatever, and Rumpel tosses some magic around, fixing it. He asks Jekyll how far heâll go to get what he wants. Jekyll swallows the serum.
Hook gives Belle a conch shell. He tells her itâs mermaid magic. If she needs help, sheâs to call into it and heâll hear her. Gold pops in and says heâs there to protect them both. Belle says they only need protection from him. He tells them that Hyde is on the warpath, but Belle doesnât understand why heâs interested in them, and wants Gold to go away. Gold says heâll go, but casts a protection spell on the boat. Belle canât leave because of it and gets pretty annoyed.
Snow brings Henry to school. Jasmine is wandering the halls, lost. She introduces herself as Shireen, and Snow realizes that sheâs her class assistant. Jasmine tells her that sheâs from the group of Untold Story people. Snow talks about how she decided to become a teacher again.
Jekyll is at an impasse with the serum. Emma asks Regina if sheâll talk to Hyde. She and David are going to hunt down Hyde and the Evil Queen. Jekyll asks Grumpy to bring back a sandwich which makes Grumpy grumpier, since heâs not an errand boy.
In the past, Hyde looks at himself, not recognizing his reflection. Rumpel tells him heâs parts of a man and comes up with the name Hyde. Hyde goes to a ball at Maryâs house and introduces himself to her father, saying that heâs a friend of Jekyllâs. Mary says Jekyll has never mentioned him and Hyde says Jekyll has definitely mentioned her. Mary’s father speaks to Hyde alone, telling him if he’s there to plead Jekyll’s case, he’s not letting him into the academy. Hyde tells him that he and Jekyll heard all about his new lab assistant, and alludes that she’s more than an assistant.
Grumpy brings Jekyllâs sandwich back. He wants to go back to his real job of being the wall between chaos and calm. Regina comes in and knocks Grumpy out with some magic. Hyde is with her and says they were led to him by the cameo, which has a beckoning spell on it. He tells Jekyll that they’re going to see what the monster he made can really do.
Snow is teaching Newtonâs third law of motion, that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. She asks for volunteers to solve the equation on the board, but there are no takers. This seems real.
Regina goes to Goldâs shop He says heâs seen the Evil Queen, but wasnât interested in what she had to offer. Regina tells him that Jekyll has a serum that can stop Hyde, but they need his help.
In the old days, Jekyll wakes up with a headache, and Rumpel shows him his invite into the academy. Rumpel tells him he has to snag Mary before another suitor does, and tells him to let Hyde do the talking. Jekyll asks what he wants, and Rumpel says he needs the serum. He wants to make sure it works though and tells him to let Mr Hyde out to play.
Regina and Gold go to Jekyllâs lab. Everything is destroyed. Jekyll tells Regina that Gold doesn’t care about their cause, and Gold says Hyde is Jekyll, except smarter and stronger. Jekyll produces a vial of the serum, which he’d hidden. Regina takes it. Gold reaches for it, but she tells him to work his magic from a distance. Suddenly, he grabs Jekyll’s heart. Gold tells Regina that he did make a deal with the Evil Queen because of Belle. He takes out the magic dagger and pours the serum on the blade. He says Regina can no more fight the darkness than he can, and disappears, poof! in a cloud of red smoke. Well, actually itâs sort of magenta.
Snow goes through her student’s papers and says the students donât remember anything she taught them. Jasmine says she was gone a while. She tells Snow that once her kingdom needed a princess and perished for lack of one. She says that for the students to reach their potential, she needs to embrace who she is, Snow White.
Jekyll visits the Jolly Roger. He tells Hook and Belle that Gold took the serum and has a deal with the Evil Queen. Hook leaves to help. Belle tells Jekyll that she’s sorry about Gold. He says nothing can bring back Mary, the girl he loved until Hyde destroyed the love.
Way back when, Hyde sees Mary walking in the woods at night, which strikes me as really odd. Mary says he left her curious, and asks if heâs known Jekyll long. He says their entire lives, and heâs here on Jekyllâs behalf. Jekyll has feelings for her. She says she likes him, but canât be with him that way – she needs someone with passion and who can give in to desire. She thinks he understands. She says she saw the way other people looked at him; they were afraid, but she saw a man unencumbered by fear and social obligation. She asks how he does that, and he says he doesnât know, maybe he was just made that way. They kiss. A few times. A lot.
In the same woods in the present, Emma asks David if heâs okay with her and Hook. He says at first he was against it, but if sheâs happy, heâs happy. Hyde approaches them and Emma zaps him, but he ducks. He flattens David and runs. Gold enters the picture and stabs him with the dagger. He asks if this is how Hyde imagined his story playing out. Hyde says yes, and pulls the dagger out. He also pulls out the vial of serum. Gold realizes that Hyde switched the vials. Hyde wants to show Gold the end of his story and watch him suffer. He holds up the dagger and tells Gold he wants to go to Belle. They both disappear, poof! in a two-person capacity cloud of magenta smoke.
Snow takes the kids outside. She nails their assignments to a tree. She tells them that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. She shoots an arrow into the papers to demonstrate. She asks if they’d like to try.
Hyde and Gold go to the Jolly Roger. Gold says Hyde wonât have the vial forever, but Hyde says heâs not harming Belle, and he isnât the monster Gold needs to worry about.
In old Storybrooke, Jekyll wakes up next to Mary. She asks how he got there and whereâs Hyde? He says he sent Hyde to talk to her and she brought him here? She says itâs none of his business and where is he? Jekyll says he is Hyde. Sheâs like forget it, youâre crazy. He tries to convince her and they struggle, and she falls out the window to her death. He quickly drinks the serum. Way to go. Now Hyde will be in trouble, not him. The people below see Hyde in the window. Mary’s father and another guy enter the room and Hyde runs.
Belle tells Jekyll that sheâs sorry about what Hyde did to Mary. He says if sheâd been strong enough to resist Hyde, sheâd have been his. Belle pretends to get sugar for the tea and picks up the shell. Jekyll grabs her hand, she drops it, and it breaks. She stabs him with a piece of it and he chases her up to the deck. She calls to Gold to lift the spell, but he can’t. Hyde says here comes the real villain.
Jekyll comes up and says itâs he chance he needed to make the Dark One pay. Gold says Belle has nothing to do with this, and Hyde says neither did Mary. Hook appears and struggles with Jekyll, who meets his end by getting impailed on a fishhook. Hyde says the story isnât over yet, and starts to command Gold to do something, but keels over. He and Jekyll die in tandem. Gold says there was one final twist.
Regina says now they know the serum works Gold says Hyde destroyed it The only way to destroy oneâs doppleganger is to kill the original Regina says the way to take out the Evil Queen….and Gold finsihes is to kill her.
Emma sees Regina on the dock and asks if sheâs okay. She says to get rid of the Evil Queen, she has to die. They thought Hyde was the evil one, but the capacity for evil was the same in Jekyll. She says Emma trusted her to keep her family safe in Camelot, and she needs to trust her if it comes to this.
Gold approaches Belle. He says he wanted to make a fresh start, but she doesnât want to hear it. She says he destroyed two lives instead of one, and what could be worth all this destruction?
In olden times, Hyde packs his bags, and Rumpel says things just started to get interesting. He says the news is everywhere. Hyde says he didnât kill Mary; it was Jekyll. Rumpel asks how he could be so weak, and says itâs all a failure; his experiment has been a waste. Rumpel tells Hyde that he should kill him now, but instead heâll have to share a life with the weakness inside him. Hyde asks why he did this. and Rumpel says his reasons are just that, his.
Belle asks Gold why he did this. He says it was all about her. He sought Jekyll out when Belle became the maid in his castle. He thought his feelings for her would make him weak.. but the experiment was a failure. He took the necklace and sent Jekyll to the Land of Untold Stories. Belle asks what would have happened if Hook hadnât come along? She tells Gold that it costs to much to be with him. She says he cut his hair for him, not her, because heâs tired of looking at the man in the mirror. I know that song is now playing in your head too. Belle says she’ll always see him for who he really is. Ouch.
Gold says she doesnât think she needs him, but she will. The child sheâs carrying is his, and if she wants whatâs best for him, sheâll come back. He says necessity will convince her.
Snow has something for Jasmine. She gives her an apple, telling her it’s a teacher tradition. It’s a Snow White tradition too, so I’d be careful. She asks if the princess from Jasmine’s kingdom ever fixed things. Jasmine says she came from the Land of Untold Stories, but she doenâs think so. Snow says ir still could happen.
Jasmine walks thorugh the woods and meets the Oracle. Jasmine says they have no idea who she really is and asks the Oracle if there’s evidence he’s there. She says she didn’t come all this way not to find Aladdin. The Oracle promises they’ll find him.
Next time, answers for Emma lie within Aladdin’s story.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey
I still say Dolores should keep her nose to herself regarding whether Chris goes to Joe #1âs going away party. Who would take advice from her anyway? Unless itâs about how to leech off of your ex-husband.
Teresa and Joe #1 take the girls to a cupcake making class. Joe demonstrates how to ice them, since itâs similar to stucco work. Teresa is trying to make memories for him to think back on after heâs gone. Milania gives Joe a cupcake for his next birthday, since they wonât be together. Thatâs really touching and sweet. In her interview, Teresa says sheâs doing everything in her power to make sure he girls arenât scarred for life. The other girls give Joe cupcakes, and Milania sings happy birthday, smushing a cupcake in his face. He smushes her back and they take selfies. Joe talks to Gia about looking out for the others when he’s in the clink, and not dating anyone. Ever. He says heâll be home before they can blink. They have a group hug.

Ashlee says Teresa has a lot going on, and Jacqueline says they made choices that had consequences. She tells Ashlee that  itâs not easy to be a mom. We flash back to turbulent times with Ashlee. Jacqueline gets weepy in her interview.
Siggy gathers the family together, including her parents. Siggy says she feels like she and the kids are drifting. After the trip to Vermont, she wants to communicate better. In her interview, she talks about moving to Israel in high school and how she ended up coming back to America and living with friends of the family. She doesnât want her kids to run from her and be separated like she was from her parents.
Her mother says she knows Siggy is busy with her job and kids, but when they come to visit, she doesnât even give them ten minutes. Siggy apologizes. Josh thinks itâs interesting that Siggy yells at him for the same things her own mother is upset about.

He wonders whatâs going on in Joe #1â head. He says itâs almost like a funeral, and wonders what to say. Melissa says you canât make this sh*t up, which is why we watch reality TV. In the car, Joe tells the kids not to go crazy, and to stay inside the restaurant.
Jacqueline and Chris go bowling with Richie and Kathy. Rosie and her girlfriend, Laura, join them. Even the worst of them is better than I am. In her interview, Teresa says she was afraid the party wouldnât be happy, but once she got there, it was actually fun being with friends and family. Thereâs a mechanical bull. Joe and Teresa get on together and fall off pretty quickly. Siggy says theyâll get through it. In her interview, she says youâd have to be an empty shell of a person not to be affected by a father leaving his four daughters, whether you think he deserves it or not. Joe says everyone is trying to make him cry. After years of watching these people, I feel like the Giudices are like those annoying cousins you have to invite to Thanksgiving. You love them, but would rather love them from a distance. I think they got made examples of because they’re so-called celebrities, and did something a lot of people skate for. As ridiculous as I find them, it does make me sad that the family is being separated. They really seem to care about one another and the girls are pretty good kids.

He tells Teresa you can either become a criminal or a better person, and heâs opting for the latter. She says she’ll give him rosary beads and suggests he celebrate with the other religions on their holidays. She puts a strawberry in her mouth and passes it to Joe in a kiss. He says theyâll get through this, which seems to be tonight’s running theme.
The paparazzi is everywhere. Joe #1 and Teresa come out, and she hugs him. This is making me sad. The girls are crying and Joe #2 doesnât know what to say or do. He says itâs like youâre lost. Joe #1 says heâs not scared of too many things, but you canât predict whatâs going to happen, even in the next few minutes. Boy, does he have that one right. He says no one is mentally prepared for this, but itâs really happening. Heâs going in
Siggy calls Teresa to let her know sheâs there if Teresa needs anything. Teresa says it sucks right now, and probably will until she talks to him, but sheâs going to take a nap before the girls get home. Sheâs emotionally exhausted. She thanks Siggy for reaching out.
Joe #2 is setting up a trampoline. Melissa asks the kids if they had fun riding the bull. She tells them how cute they were giving kisses to Uncle Joe. Melissa says she got a text from Teresa saying “love you,” and Joe asks if she feels better about the relationship. In her interview, Melissa says she couldnât be happier that sheâs the one Teresa is reaching out to. Dolores and Siggy visit Jacqueline. Sheâs doing the weirdest thing. She has these baby dolls and she’s smearing their diapers with chocolate. Are these party favors or something to practice with? Dolores asks about Joe #1 and how Jacqueline feels, since sheâs been on an emotional roller coaster. Jacqueline says when she saw the pictures of them hugging, she lost it. Siggy says that even though there’s no relationship right now, Teresa and Jacqueline have a long history, and there will always be a bond. Jacqueline says she would be there for Teresa regardless. Siggy says itâs heartbreaking to watch the kids have to go through it a second time. She wonders if Teresa is coming to Dolores’s housewarming party, and Dolores says definitely. I still have no idea whatâs up with the diapers.
Teresa talks to Joe #2 and Melissa on the phone. She talks about her father crying and how upsetting it was. Joe asks if she wants to get Chinese food and hang out tomorrow. She says it would be nice and that the girls will be sleeping with her tonight.
Sure enough, they all get in the bed, which is pretty big. Teresa asks if the girls want to say a prayer for daddy. Each of the girls takes a turn except for Gabriela. To be honest, I mix these kids up except for Gia, so I think that’s who opted out. Teresa adds a prayer and Milania tells her not to cry because sheâll cry. Audriana (I think) turns out the lights
Next time, Siggy’s housewarming happens, Melissa has a fashion show, and Dolores tells Jacqueline f-u. Wow.
