General Hospital
I miss the first minute. <sigh>
Trina says she needs Cameron, but he says helping her get Dev wasn’t the extracurricular activity he was looking for. She says if he helps her with her problem, it will distract him from thinking about his own problems. He says she has a point. She tells him that he can thank her with an ice cream cone.
Jason drops by Elizabeth’s place with a back to school present for Jake. Elizabeth says he’ll be back soon if Jason wants to wait, He says, if she doesn’t mind the company. She tells him to come in. Aiden is upstairs, having creative thoughts. He says, that explains the quiet, but she says even with having the boys home, it would be the quietest house on the block. It’s not the same without Franco. Jason is sure it’s hard to get used to, but she says she has no interest in getting used to it. If it works out the way it’s supposed to, Franco will be back soon.
Back tracking a little, in the park, Kim tells Franco, butterflies… tingles… He says, undeniable passion. She says that’s what he was to her. How big an impact he made in her life. He says, irreplaceable. He felt the same way. He still does. He kisses her, and she kisses back. Cameron and Trina see them.
Robert finds Peter going into the MetroCourt restaurant, and asks if Peter is crashing his brother’s party. Peter says he was invited. What about Robert? Robert says Peter missed the toast. There’s no point in hanging around. Peter sees three good reasons, and Robert says his family doesn’t see the dark side of Peter, but they will.
Alexis goes into Charlie’s, and tells Julian she’s there about the restaurant purchase. He says the sooner he hands the keys to Olivia, the better. She says, unfortunately, the sale is off.
Cameron is about to interrupt Franco and Kim, but Trina grabs him, putting her hand over his mouth, and pulling him down. She tells him that he needs to check himself. He says, Franco is making out with Oscar’s mom. She says, shut up and listen. They have to come up for air sooner or later.
Kim pulls away, and Franco asks, what’s wrong? She says she can’t do this, calling him Drew. He says, yes! She just called him his actual name. She says that’s not actually his name, and this is wrong. He says, it’s the exact opposite of wrong. She tells him, Elizabeth is her best friend in Port Charles. Elizabeth stood by her when Oscar was dying. Her son. He says, our son; Oscar was his son too. She says Oscar had none of Franco’s DNA, but Franco says the man whose DNA he had, doesn’t remember meeting her, or the nights they spent together, or what it feels like to love her. He does. He’s more Drew Cane than Drew is. And he’s here. He came back. He knows time has passed, but to him, it hasn’t. Kim says, it’s been a lifetime. Oscar’s lifetime; beginning, middle, and end. When she found out she was pregnant, she had to start over again. Now that Oscar is gone… He says she might as well start over with him. Cameron listens, and broods.
Elizabeth gives Jason a glass of tap water, saying she’s had no time to stock up. He asks if he can help, and she wonders if he’ll do her shopping for her. He says, sure, and he’ll throw in a load of laundry. She says, in this house, they wear other colors than black. He’s sorry that she’s feeling the fallout from Shiloh’s insanity, and she says she’ll tell him what she tells the boys. It’s a tough situation, but they’ll make it through. Franco will come back. He says, what if she’s wrong?
Julian asks Alexis if Olivia’s blown the deal. He’s got her deposit, and if she thinks she’s getting her money back… Alexis says, Olivia is determined to buy the restaurant, just not this second. She spoke to a colleague who’s an expert in tax law, and Olivia will save a lot of money if she buys under a corporation. She’s weighing whether she should incorporate by herself, or if Michael should buy it using ELQ. She tells him, relax. He’s going to sell, and Olivia will buy. Nothing has changed except the time frame. He asks what they’re looking at, and she says, a week. He just wants this done, and she says, it’s just a week. In the grand scheme of things, what difference does a week make?
Franco tells Kim, they can leave Port Charles together. The ankle monitor is coming off, and as soon as it does, he’s free to go. She says, free to destroy Elizabeth’s and her sons’ lives. He says he doesn’t want to hurt those people, and she says, those people belong to Franco. Those people love and need him, and he belongs in their family, even if he doesn’t remember his life. He says he doesn’t want to remember that life. If he stays, it’s nothing but a lie, and he’ll be prolonging the inevitable. It would be more cruel for them to believe Franco might come back. She says he owes it to them to try, but he says he doesn’t want that to happen. He wants his life back. The life he knows and remembers. He has no connection to Elizabeth or her family. She says, his family, but he says, no. She’s his family. It’s only ever just been her. Cameron listens, and looks sad.
Elizabeth says, coming from anyone else, it would sound like concern, and Jason says, it is. She’s counting on Andre to reverse the procedure. Drew has to find him first, and even if he does, maybe it’s not possible. She asks what she’s supposed to do. Watch Franco live someone else’s life? He thinks she should prepare herself and the boys for possible disappointment. She says, funny how her disappointment is his dream come true.
Peter says it kills Robert that the people he cares about, care about Peter and love him. Robert can attack him all he wants. There’s nothing he can do to convince Robert, so he’ll let them speak for him. Robert wonders if they think that highly of him, and Peter says, ask them. Robert says Faison’s ego was his undoing, and it will be Peter’s too. He asks when Peter’s visit to Shiloh is going to hit the press, and Peter says he’s working on it.
Mac says he didn’t know Maxie didn’t want him to take the job. She says, it’s not that. She just wishes the men in her life didn’t have this idiotic macho idea of being heroes. Felicia says, amen. Even Peter. Mac says, he’s a publisher, and Maxie says, who helped her gave birth on the side of the road. Felicia says, they’re stuck with heroes. Maxie says Mac is highly qualified, and he’s going to be brilliant, but promise when he puts on the badge, he’ll think about what it really means. Not to the citizens he’s sworn to protect and serve, but to her, Felicia, James, and Georgie. He’s their hero, and the most important part of that, is him being there. He promises. Peter approaches the table, and says he missed the toast. Maxie says he’s just in time for hers. To her family of heroes. Everyone clinks glasses.
On the phone with Curtis, Jordan says, Andre is critical, but stable. He could be rushed to surgery at any moment. Has he gotten in touch with Drew? She tells him, keep on it, and keep it on the DL. She asks Epiphany if it’s possible for her to bring Andre around. It might be a criminal matter, and the sooner she gets his statement, the sooner she can solve it.
Maxie says she hears Felicia started drag Bingo night, and Robert asks if there will be local drag queens, or is she importing celebrity drag queens? Felicia says he’ll have to show up and find out. She asks, as new DA, how his first case is going, and he says Shiloh intends to testify on his own behalf. He’ll have to cross-examine Shiloh, and who knows what secrets he’ll shake from that tree. Mac gets a call from Jordan, who says she needs him at GH. He asks if she can tell him what’s going on, and she says, Andre is at the hospital. He says he has to leave, and Felicia asks, why? He tells her, it’s a police matter, and he can’t discuss it. She says, duty calls, and tells him to keep them posted. Before he leaves, he tells Maxie that he thought about what it means. Robert and Peter glare at each other.
Alexis says if she’d known Julian was in such a hurry, she would have advised Olivia to hold out for a lower price. Julian says, under normal circumstances, he’d be happy to give Olivia time, but he has other things to consider, and other people. She says, putting other people’s needs in front of his own? Is Kim that anxious to move on? He says, even if she didn’t see Oscar around every corner, Franco as Drew keeps reminding her of the good old days, and it’s tearing her apart. Alexis says she knows a clerk who owes her a favor, and she’ll try to cut the wait time. What about him? Is he that anxious to leave town? He says, why not? and she says, it cuts his time with his family short. He says, after the life he’s led, he’s lucky to have a family, let alone spend time with them. Every moment is more than he thought he’d get in the first place.
Elizabeth says Jason has never hidden his feelings about Franco. If he’s gone forever, it would be like Christmas, and Jason would say he’s getting what he deserves. Jason says it doesn’t matter what he thinks, and she says, which is code for, you’re right, but I don’t want to say it out loud. He’ll never accept Franco’s place in her life. He says he accepts it, he just doesn’t like it. She stands corrected. She says, not long ago, he reminded her of where he stands on her marriage to Franco. It doesn’t matter how the boys feel. It doesn’t matter what good things Franco has done. Jason says he knows it’s not easy. He’d like it if Franco was gone for good, but he doesn’t want her in pain. He tried to speak with Franco, and warned him not to hurt her and the boys. She asks if he thinks it’s enough to convince Franco not to break up the family, but he doesn’t know.
Kim asks Franco if she’s supposed to leave Julian. He’s been nothing but good to her. Franco asks if she’s going to stay with him out of obligation. She says she loves Julian, and he tells her, answer truthfully; who’s the love of her life? She doesn’t say anything, and he says, there; he has it. He’s the love of her life, and she’s his. She says, if there’s one thing the mad scientist got right, it’s his arrogance. He’s arrogant as hell. He says he might not be the same person physically, but in his heart and soul, he’s Drew. And he loves her. He’s the man she loves too, and she could never stay with Julian knowing he’s out there. She says she can’t do this now. He tells her, take all the time she wants. He’ll wait, but as soon as the ankle monitor is off, he’s getting out of Dodge, and taking her with him. She shakes her head, and jets. Cameron comes out, and asks Franco what the hell he thinks he’s doing.
Mac arrives at the hospital, and asks, what’s the story? Jordan tells Epiphany, Mac is now Chief of Detectives. Epiphany congratulates him, but wishes he was getting a slower start. Mac says he checked the security footage. The camera pointed to a car rolling into the barricade. Andre got out of the driver’s seat, and stumbled into the ER. They can use Andre’s cell phone to retrace his steps, and with any luck, they’ll get a clue to what happened.
Maxie says she’s still running the show at Crimson. Nina doesn’t know when she’ll be back. Peter says her contribution hasn’t gone unnoticed. Hayden thought she should be an editor-in-chief. Felicia says, Maxie is extremely talented. Robert agrees, and Peter says at least they can agree on something. He’s encouraging her to pursue her dream. His phone dings, and he has to go. Robert says, let him guess, boy locked in refrigerator, eats own foot. (He didn’t really say that exactly, but it was something just as Enquirer crazy.) Peter says he can read all about it in the paper. Publishing waits for no man.
Lucas goes to Charlie’s, and tells Julian that he got a weird email from Sam. She wants the family to get together with Julian. The concept makes sense, but why Sam? Did they call a truce? Julian says, since he’s leaving, he wants to celebrate with his family. He thinks Sam wants to celebrate his departure. Lucas says, it makes more sense now. He’s not sure how it will come off, but he thinks Julian and Kim deserve a proper send-off. Julian says he’s not going to Timbuktu. It’s an easy trip for him to make if he’s needed. Lucas says it sounds like Julian’s got it worked out. Julian says, it’s not as easy as it sounds, but he thinks he has something to help in his absence. He and Lucas go upstairs.
Alexis sees Kim absorbed in her phone outside of Charlie’s, and says, Julian stepped away, but he’ll be right back. Kim says, sorry? and Alexis says, Julian went off with Lucas, and will be right back. Kim says, okay, great, and Alexis asks if she’s okay. Kim says she’s just a little overwhelmed. Alexis says she’d be happy to give Kim free legal advice if she needs it. Kim asks, for what? and Alexis says to keep Franco away from her.
Jason tells Elizabeth, Franco thinks he has more reason to leave than to stay. He thinks it would be painful for her if he’s there. She would get hurt, and keep hoping for a connection he doesn’t feel. Jason guesses it’s up to her, and she says she’s not giving up without a fight. He asks what the fight is going to cost her. She says as much as she hates to admit it, Jason may be right. There may not be a way for Franco to come back, but she has nothing to lose by trying. There’s still a chance. It’s small, but she’d be a fool not to take it.
Franco asks if Cameron was spying on him, and Cameron says, it’s a public park. Franco says, it was a private conversation, and none of his business. Cameron says he knows Franco is trying to ditch his family. Franco says, he’s sorry; he truly is. He wishes it could be different. Cameron asks why it can’t be. Franco sacrificed himself for him. Franco says he knows, but Cameron thinks it’s worth another listen, considering what happened. Franco got the memories that he was supposed to get. (Wow. That would have been awkward.) Franco stepped up. He knew he could lose his life with his family, but he saved Cameron. Franco says, and now Cameron wants to save him, but that’s not happening. Cameron says he wants to save his mom; it’s tearing her apart. She stood by him when everyone wanted him in prison. The entire town treated her like dirt. Franco says, she seems like a good person. She might be a great person, but the guy she did that for is gone, and there’s nothing he can do to bring him back. Cameron says, try. Just go back. Figure it out. Give his mom half the time and faith she gave him. Franco knows it seems unfair, but it’s unfair to him too. He’s there now, and sorry; he’s not going anywhere. Trina joins them, and tells Cameron, this is going nowhere. Cameron says they’re in Oscar’s Meadow. Not a day goes by that he doesn’t miss Oscar, but he’s glad Oscar is dead. Trina says, Cameron! and he says, no way would he want Oscar to see this. To see Franco.
Lucas says Julian established a trust for Wiley? Julian says, unfortunately, the sale of Charlie’s hit a snag, but as soon as it’s sold, the trust will be in place. What does Lucas think? Lucas says he wishes he could say he felt good about it.
Kim tells Alexis that she doesn’t think she needs legal advice. Alexis says she thought Kim was having trouble shaking Franco, but Kim says he’s not exactly stalking her. In his current state, she’s the only familiar face in a sea of strangers. Alexis asks if he’s coming around whether she wants it or not, and Kim guesses that’s fair to say. Alexis knows she’s anxious to move, but until the sale is final, she and Franco are both there. A restraining order is no guarantee, but it’s a warning to someone who won’t move on. She’d be happy to discuss it with Franco. Kim says, it won’t be necessary. Julian is closing soon on Charlie’s, and they’ll be gone. Alexis says Kim may be staying a little longer than she wants.
Cameron tells Franco, Oscar thought the real Drew was a great person. He wouldn’t want Oscar to see this version, bailing on his stepsons and his life. Oscar would hate it. He’d say Oscar would kick his ass, but that wasn’t his style. He’d be disappointed. Doesn’t it matter to him? Franco says, yes; a great deal, but it doesn’t change anything. Cameron backs away, and leaves with Trina.
Jason says he wants Elizabeth to be happy, and Elizabeth says, even if it means being with Franco? He says he’s sorry it happened to her, but she says, no need to be sorry. It’s not over yet. Elizabeth’s phone rings. It’s Epiphany, who tells her Andre is at the hospital, and she says she’ll be right there. She tells Jason, Andre is at GH. She has to go see him, but she can’t leave Aiden by himself. Jason offers to stay, but Elizabeth says it will freak Aiden out. Can he go, and tell Andre that she’s on her way? It’s going to be okay. Jason leaves, and she runs upstairs.
Julian tells Lucas, the trust fund is a gift; no strings attached. He’s not trying to buy into Wiley’s life. Lucas tells him, shut up. He’s not offended. Julian asks what the problem is, and Lucas says Julian thinks his money is more important than his presence. Julian asks if Lucas is saying he’s going to miss him. Lucas says, believe or not, yeah. Julian says he set up the trust fund for nothing. Lucas says, pretty much (the new catch phrase), but he’ll keep it anyway. He wouldn’t want to insult Julian by refusing. They don’t need his money; they need him. He and Julian hug.
Kim says, the closing was postponed? and Alexis says, just a week. She’ll do what she can to speed it along. She knows Kim is desperate to start her new life. Kim tells her, don’t worry about it, and goes inside. Alexis follows, and says, she got the impression Kim was anxious to get out of town. She’s glad to hear Kim’s not that anxious to leave Port Charles after all.
Franco touches the plaque in Oscar’s Meadow. He says, that’s a helluva friend Oscar’s got there. That kid Cameron, going to bat for his mom; fighting for his whole family. He wishes he could get to know Cameron better, but he can’t. He thinks Oscar can understand why. He knows he’s disappointing him and the rest of the family, and he’s sorry, but he doesn’t see any other way out. It’s just how it has to be. He hopes Oscar understands and forgives him someday.
Trina asks if Cameron wants to go do something, but he says, no thanks. She asks if he wants her to stay, but he says, no. She asks what he’s going to do, and he says, what he has to. They hug, and Cameron goes inside. Elizabeth says, good; he’s home. She needs him to stay and watch Aiden. Something came up at GH. He says she has to listen. There’s something he needs to tell her.
Jason gets to the hospital, and says Elizabeth was held up. Where’s Andre? Jordan says, he’s not available, and he asks if Andre is alive. Epiphany says it’s well within Jason’s understanding that she can’t discuss a patient’s condition, and Jordan says, Andre can’t help anyone.
Felicia tells Maxie, it’s the opportunity she’s been dreaming of. Maxie says she’s semi-intrigued about either a promotion, or starting her own magazine, but it’s not a good time. Robert asks when it will be, and she says when Nina isn’t fighting her daughter’s illness. What would the public says if she jumped ship in the middle of putting an issue to bed? She’s great at it. She’d be greater if she wasn’t working alone, but no one else is experienced enough. Robert suggests that’s the kind of leverage it takes to get ahead in this world. Maxie says she’ll seriously consider Hayden’s offer when she doesn’t have a bajillion other things to do. (I’m not sure what offer she’s talking about, since Hayden just said she should pursue a higher ambition.) Maxie leaves, and Felicia sits across from Robert. She says, Maxie may have ignored his slights, but she didn’t. Peter is Faison’s son, but he’s more unhappy with it than the rest of them, Robert says, maybe. She asks if he has something on Peter, and he says, no, but he’s working on it. Felicia says no one is asking Robert to like Peter, but to go after Peter and nail him for he doesn’t care what, isn’t okay. Unless he has a real actionable reason to pursue Peter, leave him alone.
Jordan says, from what they could tell, Andre came in alone, and collapsed. He was unconscious before he could tell anyone anything. Jason wants to know the details of Andre’s injuries, but Epiphany says she can’t tell him. Mac says, Jason is officially helping with the investigation. Epiphany says that’s good enough for her. Andre had two deep wounds in his abdomen. He was stabbed.
We see someone go into Andre’s room. It’s Peter. He stands over Andre’s bed, looking grim.
Tomorrow, Cameron tells Elizabeth that he saw Franco making out with Kim, Valentin tells Obrecht that she’ll drown with him if the ship goes down, and Jason wonders who would want Andre dead.
The Real Housewives of Dallas
Apparently, Cary Duber was replaced with Kary Brittingham this season. No one has to learn a new name, only a new spelling.
LeeAnne meets with her event designer Prashe about the wedding. She tells us that people have been startled at her hair color, yet she was born a blonde, and was blonde for forty years. She’s going back to her roots – ha-ha. I’m a little confused, since she’s not what I would call blonde. In LeeAnne’s interview, she says, last year, D’Andra said Rich was cheating on her, but she and Rich stayed by each other. They love each other, and the wedding is happening. Wedding planner Steve joins them. LeeAnne says he’s the best in the universe, and farts glitter. They look at accoutrements for the wedding, like a wall of candles. LeeAnne has invited 300 people. She says the cathedral and service are going to be traditional, but after that, they’re going to change clothes, come back with a different attitude, and blow it out. Prashe asks if D’Andra is coming, but LeeAnne says, no. She wants to be happy. In her interview, LeeAnne says she hasn’t heard from D’Andra since her apology three months ago. Nothing. We see D’Andra’s apology at the reunion. LeeAnne says if you want a friendship with her, you need to reach out. D’Andra is the one who imploded the friendship, not her. Prashe tells LeeAnne that a good floral price is $25-35K. Anything beyond, is double that price. I clutch my heart. We spent very little on flowers. I couldn’t see the point. She tells LeeAnne that she’ll make it as affordable as possible. She owes LeeAnne that much. In LeeAnne’s interview, she says, in Dallas, most people’s social status is based on their check. She didn’t come from money, but connects people; so their businesses are more successful. When it comes time for her to need something personally, she’s given a gift. Steve tells her it’s seven weeks away, and she says her butthole clinches when he says that.
D’Andra’s husband Jeremy is working on an art piece. He wants it to be the centerpiece for the living room. He asks her how work is. She says she thought she was closing the company, but she’d be disappointed in herself. In her interview, D’Andra says, when her mother turned the company over to her, she was excited that it was finally hers, but didn’t know what was being given to her. She asked their accountant Esther if it was something she did, and was told, absolutely not. The problem was already there. They stopped doing Christian TV infomercials, and lost money. Within three months, she’ll have to make serious changes or close the doors. Jeremy says if her mother had been making money, she wouldn’t have turned it over. She says her mother instructed the accountant not to tell her about the finances. She wonders if she was set up to fail, so Mama Dee could say, I told you so. Jeremy says Momma Dee gave it to her in bad condition. D’Andra says she had to cut her own salary. Jeremy asks what about taking a loan against the trust, but she says her mother is in charge of the trust, and won’t let her touch it. She also doesn’t want to worry about it being there in her retirement years. In her interview, she says it doesn’t matter whether it’s there or not; she can’t access it. She tells Jeremy that she likes nice things. In her interview, D’Andra says, when her husband acts like it’s no big deal to have a sparse lifestyle, he doesn’t realize what that looks like. His artwork is paying the bills, and he’s used to a cushy lifestyle. She tells him, until the business gets turned around, she would appreciate his help.
Stephanie and Travis skate around house on I don’t know what. Electronic skateboards? Is there such a thing? In Stephanie’s interview, she says she and Travis are in an amazing place. She feels connected to him. Last year, he went to Harvard business school for several months, and then went back for four weeks. The second time, it was easier. She was in a better head space. She tells Travis, D’Andra is turning 50 next week. He says D’Andra is older than him, and Stephanie says she asked if D’Andra was going through a mid-life crisis like him. In her interview, Stephanie says, Travis has been working out like he’s getting ready for a pageant, skydiving, and manscaping. She tells him that he should talk to D’Andra about Momma Dee; she’s tough like his dad. D’Andra told her she had three months left with the business, and Travis says she has a bad cash flow; it ran out very quickly. In her interview, Stephanie explains how Travis hustled when he first inherited his dad’s company. Now it’s making $75 million. She says she’s having a friendervention. D’Andra and LeeAnne have been friends for years. Travis says, guys just have a fist fight, and it’s over. She feels LeeAnne and D’Andra can rekindle their friendship, like she and Brandi did. Travis tells her, bring them to the house, give them a Xanax and a glass of wine, and tell them to figure it out.
Brandi’s daughter Brooklyn is a handful. Brandi says she wouldn’t change her life, but it’s crazy. She now has a nanny, Alicia, but the kids are still going nuts. Except for baby Bruin. Who’s still a baby. In her interview, she says, the adoption has been legally finalized, and Bruin will always be a Redmond. Brooklyn is ten, but went from a girl to a teen, skipping the tweens. She can be a little sh*thead. Brandi doesn’t know if it’s hormones kicking in or what, but Brooklyn likes everyone but her. Brooklyn has a comeback for anything Brandi does or says. She wants to argue about everything, dinner, clothes; Brandi can’t do anything right. guesses she treated her mom like that. She tells Brooklyn that she hopes she doesn’t continue to be an embarrassment to her, and Brooklyn says Brandi is an embarrassment to herself. Brandi can’t imagine what the actual teen years will be like.
D’Andra and Momma Dee go to the cemetery for the anniversary of D’Andra’s father’s death. In her interview, D’Andra says her biological father shot himself. When she says her father, she’s usually referring to Glen, who raised her. Six years ago, he had a heart attack in a hotel in Vegas. Dee says he was special. He was unique and different. She wishes he was there now. She and D’Andra sit to reminisce. In D’Andra’s interview, she says Glen was a nurturing parent, more than her mother. He was there for her. She tells Dee, when he died, she went into business mode. She didn’t allow herself to process it, and never did. Dee says he didn’t want her to be alone, and D’Andra says his biggest fear was that they didn’t get along, and they only have each other. She wonders what he would say to her about the company, and Dee says he’d tell her to follow her heart. In D’Andra’s interview, she says the bottom line is, the company needs money to move forward. We see a clip of her talking to Esther, who says she’d need $50-60K to launch a product. In her interview, D’Andra says Dee went off salary, but wanted $60K a year for expenses, which would be fine if the business was profitable. We see a clip of Esther saying D’Andra needs to put her foot down. D’Andra tells Dee that she took a pay cut. She thinks her dad would want her to continue Dee’s legacy, but also make sacrifices in other areas. She asks if Dee can make a sacrifice to bring the company forward. Dee says D’Andra knows when she signed over the company, she wanted certain stipulations. D’Andra says she was afraid to ask about it, since they’re in a good place. Dee says she’s got plenty of money. Does D’Andra think the S on her forehead means stupid? She’s smart. D’Andra doesn’t want Dee to feel like she’s taking something away, but Dee says when she walked out, she walked out. In D’Andra’s interview, she says she doesn’t know what’s harder; the company not doing well, or the thought that her mother might have done this intentionally. Dee tells D’Andra she feels more secure now. D’Andra should just talk to her. D’Andra says she doesn’t like to talk about business with Dee, because it always gets tense. In her interview, D’Andra says she doesn’t understand the game they’re playing, but she needs to keep playing it because she needs access to her trust. She’s angry that her mother put her in this situation. How can they have a positive mother/daughter relationship? Dee tells D’Andra that she always has her back. In D’Andra’s interview, a producer asks if she’d be willing to give up her trust, so her mother would have no financial control over her, but D’Andra says, no. She’s wallowed at her mother’s feet this long, she’s not giving up now. Dee says she loves D’Andra with all her heart.
Kameron is going on a cruise, and still has to pack. In her interview, she says, people think a cruise is a budget vacation. $400, and everything’s included. They would be lucky if their bill ended up like that, but when she’s on a cruise, it’s expensive. I don’t know what planet she lives on, but I can’t imagine what cruise would be 400 bucks, all-inclusive. Unless it’s around Manhattan on the Circle Line, or you’re a stowaway. Stephanie calls, and Kameron says she’s packing. Stephanie asks if Kameron is going away for spring break, and she says she is. Stephanie tells her that she’s having a few people over on Saturday, but Kameron says she’s leaving tomorrow. Stephanie says she’s invited Brandi, LeeAnne, and D’Andra. Kameron says, it should be interesting with LeeAnne and D’Andra. In Kameron’s interview, she says she has no FOMO about missing it. She explains that FOMO means Fun of Missing Out, which makes no sense whatsoever. A producer corrects her. I note how perfectly groomed her dog is. She calls LeeAnne, and gets voicemail. She says, as a friend, she wanted to warn LeeAnne that D’Andra will be at Stephanie’s. The message time runs out before she can finish.
New girl Kary visits D’Andra. In her interview, D’Andra says she and Kary met through friends, and it turned out Kary lives three blocks away. Kary is fun, and not typical for Dallas. She doesn’t care if people judge her. We see a clip of her meeting the others. D’Andra says she hasn’t seen LeeAnne in three months, and the last time they saw each other, D’Andra agreed to go to relationship counseling. We flash back to that, and she says she thought it was silly. What friends go to counseling? Kary asks what she’s doing tonight, and D’Andra says, going to Stephanie’s. Stephanie doesn’t think it’s right to close the door on a friendship that’s lasted so long, if there’s hope for reconciliation. She apologized and wanted to move on. Her finances were discussed. Kary says D’Andra needs to learn how to say, eff off. They’re not paying her bills. Liking Kary already. Kary says LeeAnne had already been negative against Cary. In Kary’s interview, she says she’s known Cary for ten years. She didn’t appreciate LeeAnne’s accusations against Mark. We flash back to LeeAnne whispering about Mark getting a BJ at the Round Up. Kary says she ran into LeeAnne, and told her that she as talking out of her ass. She asks if D’Andra is going to be drinking, and D’Andra says, it’s obligatory. Kary suggests she take a shot of tequila before she goes.
We meet Kary’s husband Eduardo while she’s packing for spring break. In Kary’s interview, she says Spanish is her first language, but she thinks she’s lost her accent. She laughs, because that’s a hard no. Eduardo asks if the husbands are going, but Kary says it’s just moms and daughters. It’s hard for her to pack normally, and now she has to pack for being with teenagers. Eduardo gets that she wants to dress more conservatively. In her interview, Kary says they’re both divorced, and met through a friend. They’ve been married almost ten years, and had an amazing chemistry. After ten years, sexy time isn’t the same. And she’s a true Mexican. Look at her, and she gets pregnant. She has a daughter with Eduardo, Isabella, and one with her ex Ricki, Olivia. Olivia helps her choose her wardrobe for the trip. In her interview, Kary says, with teenagers, you can’t do anything right. She wishes there was an agency where you could drop them off when they become teens, and pick them up at twenty-two.
Brandi arrives at Stephanie’s, and asks if Stephanie is nervous. Stephanie thinks LeeAnne and D’Andra are ready to make up. Brandi says, it’s about time. In Stephanie’s interview, she says she feels like she can help them because she’s been there. She and Brandi weren’t talking, and they were making each other miserable. We flash back to them making up. Stephanie says, D’Andra is turning 50, and LeeAnne is getting married. They don’t want to miss those moments. Brandi says she saw them at a shower, and that put it in perspective. it’s ridiculous to fight over these things. In Brandi’s interview, she says she and LeeAnne are in a great space. They put their differences aside, and she wishes LeeAnne and D’Andra could do the same.
D’Andra arrives next. In her interview, she says she and LeeAnne have been friends for eight years. She remembers the past, and hopes for a better future. If she needs to apologize again, then that’s what she needs to do, and she’ll be happy to do it. LeeAnne lets herself in. In Stephanie’s interview, she says they both have the same hair color. They both went from pitch black to caramel. It’s meant to be. Stephanie says she ordered the food. In LeeAnne’s interview, she says she’d love to see what D’Andra has to say. They had a relationship, and D’Andra blew it up. They have to send out a search party to find the pieces to put it back together. They all sit, and we hear crickets. Stephanie says, LeeAnne is having a wedding, and D’Andra is turning 50. She feels they can come together, and be in the same place. LeeAnne says, there’s been a lot of hurt. It felt like she lost her family. D’Andra tells LeeAnne that she said she was sorry. She left the reunion thinking, that was it. Then Rick sent a nasty text to Jeremy. In D’Andra’s interview, she says she says Rick tried to make up a cheating scandal. She reads the text, which says Rick is going to tell D’Andra about his affair with pretty Jessica. She’s everything D’Andra isn’t. He usually has discretion, but he can’t tolerate the BS Jeremy’s wife is spewing out at him. D’Andra tells LeeAnne, obviously, they’re not moving forward, LeeAnne says she accused Rick of cheating. D’Andra says she asked a question. All she said was she heard rumors. LeeAnne says she wants to be clear. If someone said Rich is cheating, they’re an effing liar. D’Andra says LeeAnne called Mark out, and LeeAnne says she learned her lesson. She still feels guilty. In LeeAnne’s interview, she says she still feels bad when it’s brought up. She doesn’t think D’Andra does. I don’t know if D’Andra is capable of looking at herself that closely. LeeAnne tells D’Andra that her posture is saying she’s better than LeeAnne, and she is. She’s richer and prettier too. D’Andra says LeeAnne always has to go below the belt. She came there wanting to do this because it’s the right thing to do. They have a past. LeeAnne asks what that was, and D’Andra says let her talk. LeeAnne asks if D’Andra sees the animosity in the conversation. D’Andra says LeeAnne is acting all high and mighty, but she’s just listening to what LeeAnne is saying. LeeAnne says D’Andra isn’t owning what she’s done. D’Andra says, neither is LeeAnne.
LeeAnne says she apologized for her comment, but D’Andra said it was bullsh*t. D’Andra says she’s there to make amends, not start a new fight. In LeeAnne’s interview, she can’t understand how her comment about D’Andra’s finances is the same as D’Andra saying Rich was cheating She doesn’t see how D’Andra looks at it. D’Andra says she made mistakes, and reiterates that she’s sorry for hurting Rich and LeeAnne’s family. She wants this off of her spirit and soul, and doesn’t want the burden. It doesn’t serve her going forward. LeeAnne says it didn’t serve D’Andra then. D’Andra doesn’t appreciate the comment. It didn’t serve LeeAnne when Cary was damaged. They need to find what they like about each other again, and what they have in common, so they can at least be in the same room. D’Andra asks what she needs to do to make LeeAnne comfortable? LeeAnne says D’Andra just needs to be herself, and she needs to have enough time between the pain and new experiences. D’Andra says time is the most important thing. LeeAnne says, time is the slowest, yet fastest deliverer. In D’Andra’s interview, she says, hopefully these are baby steps to a new friendship. It won’t be the same, but with time, they can have a new friendship. D’Andra says she’ll stop hurting LeeAnne by discussing what’s between them with other people, and asks the same thing. LeeAnne agrees. D’Andra says she just wants LeeAnne to be happy, like she is. That’s all she cares about. In LeeAnne’s interview, she says she’s heard all the words, but hasn’t seen actions. Baby steps are still moving forward. She’s not looking for six inches, just an inch. D’Andra thanks LeeAnne for coming, and being willing to talk. They have a lot of history, a lot of past, and a lot of future. They drink to that.
Next time, LeeAnne and D’Andra meet one-on-one, Kary says moving to America is the hardest thing she’s ever done, and D’Andra gets roasted for her birthday.

And it’s another day closer to Friday.
You will never believe what happened here. The screen froze, and then it said I wasn’t authorized to view the channel. WTF, ABC? A new message appeared which led me to believe somehow Verizon had mixed up ABC with a sports channel, and a sports package is about the only thing I don’t subscribe to. After juggling remotes and rebooting, it came back. I’m in desperate need of sleep, and it’s not On Demand until the wee hours, but I only lost about five minutes. You’ll figure it out, as I did.
