There was no GH today because maybe, kinda, sorta we might have breaking news. I thought I was losing my mind when I put it on, and Carly and Josslyn were talking about Trina getting back into PCU. I thought, wasn’t she just making a big deal about a paper for class? Then the lightbulb came on…
People laugh at me, but I loved their music and they put on a great show. Back in the day, their concert was one of the few things I ever watched using pay-per-view.
That whole thing with Dorit still annoys me. Knowing how rescue works, Dorit was in the wrong. Period. And the constant chatter about it wasn’t coming from Her Majesty. If anyone could single-handedly end the dog meat trade, it would be LVP.
Take a break tomorrow for some soap (I think) and what I hope is the end of OC season. Until then, stay safe, stay not raining on anyone’s Halloween parade, and stay not hanging out with Vicki and Tamra if you want to curb your drinking.
Oh good God, this has been on for 17 seasons. Andy wants to take us somewhere, and we hit the virtual beach. He asks Tamra how it feels to be unpaused, and she says, great. She was a little nervous. That’s why she drank so much. Already the excuses start. We find out Emily lost 40 pounds, and Andy points out that Heather Fancy Pants is wearing all black. Now an official realtor, Gina says she has two homes in escrow. Jen doesn’t think she did enough meditation to prepare, and when Andy wonders how many pounds of hair Shannon has on her head, she says, not as many as Teresa did at her wedding. I don’t think I like this look on her. It’s like she’s trying to be a teenager from the 1970s. Andy says, Tamra came in hot and burning rubber, literally on a motorcycle, and she wasn’t afraid to burn a few bridges. We flash back, and the first clip is Tamra claiming she’s back with a different perspective. She doesn’t have to call everybody out. Funny how she did nothing but call people out. Andy asks where she and Shannon are and she says, great. They have their ups and downs and are definitely like sisters. He asks, how’s Eddie? and she says he started a supplement company that’s going to be launching soon. I will never be able to reconcile how shrew Tamra landed Eddie, who seems to be a decent guy, but then again, I only see bits and pieces of him. Maybe he’s a freak or a weirdo or both. A viewer asks how Fancy Pants feels about a friendship with Tamra, and Fancy Pants says, Tamra talked against her, and it makes her feel sad. Tamra says, she never did it on purpose, and Fancy Pants says, there wasn’t one episode where Tamra didn’t say something unkind about her. Tamra accuses Fancy Pants of running to Andy with that, but Fancy Pants says she did no such thing. She’s just a tiny cog in the Andy Cohen machine. When she does get a precious minute with him, they’re not talking about Tamra. Andy says, Fancy Pants never brought it up, and Tamra whines that Fancy Pants had said there was no place for her on the show. It’s time to move on, and Andy says, Tamra and Jenn had a friendship so messy, even a flying napkin couldn’t clean it up. We flash back to Tamra being absolutely abusive to Jenn, ending with her screeching that Jenn ruined her whole family, and it annoys me all over again. Andy says he thinks it’s admirable that Jenn has fostered kids, and Jenn says, it fulfilled her. Ever twisting even good things around, Tamra wonders if Jenn was a foster mom because she was lacking love. Gina says, Jenn didn’t destroy her family. Gina had the same situation in her life, and it’s okay to shift family dynamics. Andy says, they invited Ryan to the show, but he declined. Geez, I wonder why. Jenn says, he has a history with Tamra and Eddie, and felt if Tamra goes at him, he’d look like an a-hole going after a woman. It was a no win for him. Agreed. Andy asks if she thinks there’s a proposal in the future, and Emily asks if Jenn thinks he was ring shopping for the show? We flash back to Ryan’s shopping trip, and Jenn says, they’ve talked about marriage a lot. He’s ready, but waiting on her. She knows they all think she was doing all kinds of things she wasn’t, and they rehash the whole Ryan and Jenn thing. Tamra says she wants better for Jenn, and Jenn says, it’s none of her business. She thought Tamra was her friend. Tamra says she was until she found out Jenn cheated. Jenn says, no, you, and they call each other POS cheaters. It didn’t take long for me to hate Tamra all over again. Andy takes a break because I beg him to with a brain wave.
Jenn says, Tamra’s a cheater, and Tamra says she and Eddie have been married 13 years, like this means anything. Jenn says, Tamra is a sh*tty friend, and Andy says, the perception was, the minute Tamra came on, she went for Jenn. Tamra says she gave Jenn advice beforehand to be honest. Tamra rehashes Ryan texting whatever-her-name-was, and Jenn says, for the millionth time, that she’s seen all the texts. Andy asks if Jenn thinks whatshername and Ryan were messing around when they were together, but Jenn says, it was only the one time when they were on a break. Tamra squeals that Ryan texted her for three months, and when asked if she was in a committed relationship. Then later she sent him risqué pic. Jenn says she saw the pic and told him that she wanted this be done. Shannon says she told Tamra that it was too much, and Tamra shoots back that when they were at the pool party, Shannon asked if they could dig up more. Emily agrees Shannon wanted to dig. She said it was so juicy, they had to get it on camera. Shannon insists she didn’t, and Gina suggests they look at Shannon’s track record. Shannon says, no, you, and then the d*ck pic gets rehashed. Jenn wonders why they’re all still talking about it (thank you). It was a personal moment and no one’s business. Gina says, Jenn chose to forgive him, move on, and give it a go, and Jenn says she loves him and she’s happy with him. Gina says she feels like Jenn is being the bigger person. She’s the scapegoat in her own story, and doesn’t chuck anyone under the bus. Tamra says she’s sorry she upset Jenn, but she knew Jenn would protect him and make her out to be a liar. She says sorry again, but that doesn’t sound like an apology. Jenn says, they’ll have to agree to disagree, and Tamra says, Jenn deserves happiness. She’s an amazing person. I guess Tamra ran out of steam.
Taylor comes out, and Fancy Pants whispers to Gina that Taylor’s been sh*tting on her all over the place. Andy says, Taylor is now fighting hard from a different zip code, and asks how it feels to be the first Housewife to cross over? She says, it feels like home and she’s finding friendships. Andy doesn’t spend much time here before he tells us that Fancy Pants has the perfect cure for empty nest syndrome; trade in the nest for 55 million. We flash back to all that, and Andy asks about Terry having a stroke. Fancy Pants says, in front of her, but he didn’t realize it happened, and argued with her about going to the hospital. She literally chased him down with them both in Ubers. She finally got him to go, and the doctor confirmed he’d had a stroke. Andy asks about Taylor being in her first movie, and she says, because of the strike, they haven’t been able to finish. A viewer agrees that Fancy Pants sounds condescending and asks if Taylor thinks she’s unaware of it. Taylor says she thinks it’s just how Fancy Pants talks, and she is unaware. She told Fancy Pants they were filming in Oklahoma, and she asked, where’s Oklahoma? Fancy Pants says she’s not Magellan, and if she offended Taylor, she apologizes. I’m no Magellan either, but I know approximately where Oklahoma is. Fancy Pants says she felt terrible that’s what Taylor thought during the season, but she wasn’t trying to be condescending. Since the pot isn’t stirred enough, Andy points out that Tamra was the one who said Fancy Pants hadn’t worked since the 1900s. Tamra says she wasn’t making fun; she just got her years mixed up. Fancy Pants says, when Tamra and Eddie closed the gym, what if she’d said, they were only in business nine years; it’s not the Equinox. Andy says, Gina warned Taylor that Tamra was two-faced, and Taylor says, Tamra likes to stir the pot. If she had something to say to Fancy Pants about her, she should have said it in front of her. Tamra says she literally followed Fancy Pants to the bathroom while she was talking. Fancy Pants reapplies her lipgloss, and Taylor says, Fancy Pants said she was anti-female, but she works tirelessly for women and children of domestic violence. Heather says, then don’t put down another woman’s career, but Taylor says she thought she was supporting it by suggesting Fancy Pants go for a role in the film. Tamra says, Fancy Pants is the one who ran into a producer and said, get her off this f***ing show. Shannon pipes up that she was there, and Andy asks if Fancy Pants thinks she’s better than them. Shannon says, sometimes, and Fancy says, it was the producer of That’s Life, the series where she was most recently a regular. She wondered if it was a sign, since they’d been trashing her career. She didn’t mean she wanted off the show or was putting it down. She’s grateful for the platform and came back because of it. Emily says, Fancy Pants doesn’t put her down, but she didn’t stick up for Emily when Tamra said she wasn’t an attorney. Tamra says she meant Emily reached out to her as a party planner, but Fancy Pants says, Tamra said, Emily was a party planner, not a real lawyer. We flash back to that, and she kinda, sorta did. Tamra tells her that she said Emily wasn’t a practicing attorney, and Emily says she’s tired of hearing she’s not a real attorney. Gina suggests Fancy Pants is tired of hearing she’s not a real actress, and Emily says she understands. She feels the same way and wishes Fancy Pants either told her at the time or defended her. A viewer says, Fancy Pants said she didn’t want to tell the group about the sale of her home because she was afraid the press would find out. Then she said it was because no one would be happy for her. Which was it? Shannon says, nobody wasn’t happy for her, and Tamra says, they did find out about it from the press. Heather says she didn’t want that to happen. She wanted to tell them in Mexico. Tamra says, they were all happy for her, and Fancy Pants admits that’s true and looks like she’s going to cry. Andy says, Fancy Pants claimed she got picked on because the others are jealous, and wonders if she still feels that way. Fancy Pants says she does think she self-actualizes, and wants to be a better person, human, mom, wife, friend. Shannon says she needs to go to the bathroom badly, and Fancy Pants tells Andy that she doesn’t know; she’s sad. Resident psychologist Emily says she thinks Fancy Pants feel isolated because she’s offended all the time about everything that everyone does. Fancy Pants says she does not, but Emily says she thinks the problem is that Fancy Pants needs to laugh at herself more. Andy asks who thinks Fancy Pants has a sense of humor, and it doesn’t look good, but Gina and Tamra both say she does. Taylor says she’d hoped they’d moved past everything in Tulum, and she’s here for Fancy Pants. Fancy Pants says she thought they’d had a nice conversation, but everything Taylor says about her is punitive. She would like Taylor to stop doing that. Taylor says she’d like to review what things those are in a separate conversation from this one. Andy tells us that it’s time to say goodbye to Taylor, probably because she showed some smarts instead of saying, let’s discuss this right now in an inappropriate venue, and broke Housewife Rule #1. We take a break. Not like Ryan and Jenn’s break though.
To his credit, Andy says, we’re back, instead of welcoming us back like we were the ones who left. He says, Gina’s life was in an upswing, but she had some friendships in need of renovation. We flash back, and when the clip is shown where Shannon brings up Gina’s DUI, I think, they’re going to get mad about this all over again. That’s what I hate about these Reunions. They stir it all up again when I’m over it. Gina says, Matt’s infidelity hurt worse than the domestic violence, and Emily says she thinks it’s because that was an isolated event. Gina says, it wasn’t Matt that night, and she doesn’t look at him like that person. A viewer asks why Fancy Pants had a problem with Gina sharing her problems with Travis, and Fancy Pants says she’s had no boyfriend for almost 30 years. In her day, you didn’t talk about your ex. She wasn’t talking negatively against Travis. Emily says, blended families are different, and Gina says she knew Fancy Pants meant well. She still has to process something that changed the course of her entire life. Andy says, Shannon promised not to talk about Gina’s DUI again, so why did she? Shannon says – wait for it – she didn’t realize she said it. When she made the statement, she wasn’t saying Gina’s kids would be taken away, but if she had been arrested and another adult not there, they wouldn’t have been left alone. Gina asks Shannon what the names of her kids are, and Shannon is hard pressed to get it right. Gina says, never talk about her children. She’s known Shannon for six years, and Shannon doesn’t even know her kids’ names. What she said was completely inaccurate, out of bounds, and wrong. She shouldn’t have anything other than I’m sorry. Shannon tells Gina, yes, what she said was unkind, and Gina says, Shannon is worried about people talking about the same things she’s saying about other people. Shannon is talking about her children. My children! Shannon tells her to keep screaming, and Gina says she will. My children.
Andy asks Shannon what her reaction was to the seeing herself, and she says she was horrified, and she spoke to Gina. Emily says, when she knew she said it, that was an opportunity to say she was wrong, and Shannon says, it was established at the table she’d said it. I don’t know if Shannon is being deliberately dense or she’s stupid, and Gina explains that it would have been an opportunity to be a kind person. Shannon says she could present a list of things she’s done for Gina, and Gina says, Shannon gave her a phone number four and a half years ago. Andy asks if Shannon doesn’t think she’s beaten that one to death, but Shannon repeats she has a list of things she’s done for Gina. Gina says, of course Shannon makes a list, and Shannon says, before Gina met Travis, she invited Gina out, then Gina kept painting her out to be a horrible person. Andy reminds Shannon that she said Gina had been talking about her and John, yet she talked about Travis. We flash back to Shannon’s remark about Travis’s teeny penis, and Shannon says she was repeating something she’d heard three years ago. Emily asks, why bring it up now? and Shannon says, Gina was saying horrible things. Gina says, so instead of coming to her and asking if she’d said those things, Shannon chucked her and Travis under the bus. Shannon only worried about herself. Shannon says she apologized for the Travis comment, and Emily says, there’s nothing more detrimental as mom to hear someone say you’re a bad mom. It feels like Shannon is being defensive instead of saying she was completely wrong and crossed the line. Gina says, she and Shannon went out and had a little fun years ago. Her kids are close to being on social media, and for them to see that about being taken away would hurt them and scare them, and Shannon doesn’t even know names. This wound will stay with her, and she doesn’t know if she can continue to do this. It’s unclear whether she means her friendship with Shannon, the Reunion, or the show.
Next time, the Reunion concludes, Fancy Pants confronts Shannon; Emily says, Fancy Pants has no sense of humor; Fancy Pants says she hasn’t gone against Tamra because she’s scared of her; and Tamra says, Fancy Pants should be scared of her. I guess that baptism just plain wore off.

The vault has been opened for the new season of RHOBH. I think I’d handle the trips they go on the way my BFF and I handled CYO trips in high school. Take the bus there with everyone, “get lost” somehow, and then conveniently find the bus again when it’s time to go home.

New York City. Trina and Spencer are seated outside at an upscale restaurant, and Trina says, thatwas amazing. The set, the costumes, the music. She felt like she was actually at the Moulin Rouge, Didn’t he love it? He says he did, although he did have a little bit of trouble paying attention, because there was a pretty girl next to him who he kept stealing glances at. She says she’s definitely not as exciting as the Can-Can, but he says he disagrees. She says she’s not sure Toulouse-Lautrec would agree, and he says, it made him happy to see her so happy. He couldn’t take his eyes off her. She says, how could she be anything but happy? She’s in the city with the most incredible guy. He says, who’s incredibly hungry, and she says she’s starving.
Nina lies in bed sleeping, surrounded by papers, when Sonny comes in. She says, hello, handsome, and he says he didn’t mean to wake her. She says, no apologies necessary. She loves waking up to him.
Drew dreams about the attack and wakes up with a start. Willow is sitting next to his bed, and she says, bad dream? He says, this kind of dream is his reality.
There’s a knock at the gatehouse door, and Michael opens it to Carly. He asks what she’s doing here at this hour, and she says she needs his help. She saw Willow at GH; she’s with Drew. He says he stayed behind with the kids. How is Drew doing? She says, he made it through surgery. He’s lucky to be alive. They almost beat him to death. Michael says, he shouldn’t even be in Pentenville. He doesn’t know what that judge was thinking. She says she does. Judge Kim used Drew to advance his career, and she needs Michael to help her prove it.
Finn asks where Elizabeth has been all night. It’s the first time he’s seeing her. She says, it’s been so busy. She’s been assisting in surgery for the past three hours. Why is he here so late? He says he couldn’t leave without saying hi to her.
Ava comes into Windymere, and butler Giles takes her umbrella. She asks, why is it only raining on this godforsaken island? Not a single drop anywhere else. Giles says, Spoon Island is in microclimate, and she thanks him for the science lesson. (Personally, I’d like to hear more on that, since I think I live in one too.) She says she’s obviously not meant to be dry today, so in keeping with the wet theme, she’s going to take a long, hot bath. He says, no, she won’t, calling her madam, and she tells him, stop it with the madam and tell her why she can’t take a bath. He says he’s sorry, but the hot water heater isn’t working due to intermittent power outages on the island from the storm. She says, like the microclimate, and he says, precisely. She says, please tell her the vodka and olive situation hasn’t been affected by the storm, and he says, not to his knowledge. She says, hot dog. Then fix her a martini. She’s going to get out of these wet clothes. He asks how she’d like her martini, and she says, dry, very dry.
Geneva, Switzerland. Laura and Doc walk into an office, and a man says, welcome, Miss Spencer. She shakes his hand and says, actually, it’s Collins now, and introduces Doc. The man says, Hans Mueller. Pleased to meet you. He and Doc shake hands, and he tells them to have a seat. Hans says he’s known Doc’s lovely wife for years, and Laura wonders how long they’ve been doing business, then says, don’t answer that. She doesn’t think she wants to hear that number, but Hans has been a friend of the family for a long time. Hans asks what he can do for her, and she says, he can help her find her son.
Elizabeth says she’s not buying it. There has to be another reason Finn is still here. His shift ended hours ago. He says he’s insulted. Okay, maybe he’s waiting around for some lab results, but seeing her is incentive for sticking around. She says, he won’t be seeing her around here at night anymore. The kids are done with camp and she’s switching back to days. He says he likes seeing her any way he can, but he has to admit these nights have been kind of special. She says she wouldn’t exactly call a 12-hour shift special, and he says, seeing her has been kind of nice, and their talks on the roof. She says, when he stole her spot, and he says he thought they cleared this up. She’s the interloper. She says she doesn’t think she’s ever been described that way, and he says, if the shoe fits. She says, whoever gets there first, okay? and he says, it sounds like a challenge. She laughs and says she should go. Goodnight, Dr. Finn. He says, goodnight, Nurse Baldwin.
Sonny asks how things went with Charlotte. He’s sure she was excited spending the night at Nina’s place. Nina says, she was, but things are difficult for her right now. She’s been acting out. He says, she’s what? Fourteen? Nina says, it’s hard for her to believe this, but she’s fifteen, and he says, acting out comes with the territory at that age. You’ve got to have patience. She says she is, but when she and Valentin were together, she was Charlotte’s stepmother for a while, and even though they’re not together now, she still thinks of Charlotte as family. He says, family is very important. It’s the most important thing. She says, since they’re on the subject of family, they need to talk about his.
Drew says, not that he doesn’t appreciate the company, but what is Willow doing here? She says, she and Michael heard about the attack. They were so worried about him, she had to come and see him, so Michael stayed home with the kids. He says, that’s very sweet, but she didn’t have to come, and she says, it’s the least she could do. He literally saved her life. If he hadn’t rescued Liesl, she wouldn’t have gotten the bone marrow transplant, and she wouldn’t be here. A visit from her certainly can’t compare, but she wanted him to know she’s thinking about him. He thanks her, and she asks if there’s anything he wants or needs to talk about? He says, no… Well, there is one thing he needs to know and it’s pretty important. She says, anything, and he says he needs to know how Wiley’s T-ball team is doing.
Laura tells Hans that her son has been missing for months now, and she’s afraid something’s happened. Hans says, he hasn’t contacted her at all? and she says, no. And he left behind two sons. One of them is just a baby, and she doesn’t believe he’d just abandon them. So she’s afraid maybe he’s being held against his will. She and Doc have been searching for him for weeks now, but they haven’t come up with any leads. Doc says, they’ve been to the Cassadine properties in Russia and Greece, but there’s no sign of him, and Hans says he’s happy to help in any way he can, but what makes them think Nikolas is in Geneva? Laura says, because his money is here.
Ava thanks Giles for making the fire. She knows it’s a bit early, but it was so damp. She feels better already, and she’ll feel even better when she gets that martini. She turns around to take the martini from Giles as there’s a clap of thunder, startling her. The martini sloshes onto her, and Giles says he’s so sorry. Let him get her a napkin. She says, no, no. It’s quite all right. She told him she wasn’t meant to be dry tonight. He hands her a manila envelope, saying, this came from the real estate agency. She thanks him, and he says he’s off this evening, but there’s plenty of food in the kitchen. She says she’ll be having a liquid dinner. Thanks so much, and get home safely. He leaves, and she sits on the sofa. She opens the envelope and takes out pictures of a house interior. She says she can’t wait to get off this island.
Trina says, what a beautiful night, and thanks Spencer. He says, no need to thank him. All he did was place a few phone calls; to the hotel, to the restaurant, and then the concierge. It’s not a big deal. She says, everything has been wonderful, but she wasn’t talking about the reservations. She knows how hard it is for him to get away. He has to deal with Esme and be there for Ace, and she wants him to know how grateful she is that he made time for them. He says, I love us, and she says, me too. And she loves him, so very much. I’m not sure why. He’s really good looking, but he talks too fast and too loud, and he’s still an entitled snob.
Carly tells Michael that she can’t believe it. This is all her fault. He says, it isn’t, but she says, it is too. She’s the one who insisted on investing in Aurora. She’s the one who took a chance and put all her money into that stock. That’s what led to the insider trading charge. Michael says, she had no idea that was going to happen. Someone is to blame, but it’s not her. Whoever called the SEC, they’re to blame. She asks if he still thinks it was Ned, but he says, there’s no way to know. Now Ned thinks he’s Eddie Maine and they may never know, but he’s working on it. She asks what he means, and he says he may have a lead on the whistleblower, but it’s not going to get Drew out of prison any sooner. He’ll tell her about that later, but right now they have to focus on getting Drew home. She says she spoke to Diane, and she thinks their best strategy is to put pressure on the judge; either get him to reduce or commute Drew’s sentence. He asks how they do that, and she says she has some information on the judge and she’s going to use it.
Willow shows Drew her phone, and says, these days, all the kids get a trophy. Wiley didn’t understand it at first, since they lost every game. He said he thought only winners get trophies, so she told him, everyone is a winner at T-ball. Drew says, has he maybe tried soccer? but she says, young Mr. Corinthos wouldn’t even consider it. She’s afraid Wiley takes after his dad. He is so stubborn. He’ll argue about it no matter how many times he strikes out. Nina came by last week, and she can’t believe how committed their slugger is. He says, wow. That must mean she and Nina are getting along. She says, it’s going better than she ever imagined. Nina’s respecting boundaries. She always calls to see if it’s okay to come over. She’s great with the kids. Wiley loves his grandmother. He lights up when he sees her. He says he’s so happy that things are going better. That’s great. How is Michael doing with all this? Has his opinion of Nina changed? She tells him, like she said, Michael’s stubborn.
Sonny asks if something happened between Nina and Michael, but she says, no. It’s not Michael, it’s… Gladys. He says, what’d she do now? and Nina says, she’s in serious debt. She owes a lot of money to Selina Wu. He says, that’s somebody you don’t want to mess with. How did Nina find out? She says, Gladys came to her. Gladys asked her for money. She wanted Nina to bail her out because she was too afraid to approach Sonny. Sonny says, let him guess how she got into this hole – gambling. Nina says, she lost a lot of money. Apparently, she’s been playing for months. He says, dammit, getting out of bed. What the hell is wrong with Gladys? Didn’t she see what gambling did to Mike? It pretty much destroyed his life. What was she thinking? Nina says, that’s the point; she wasn’t thinking. And she hates to tell him this, but it gets worse. Before Gladys came to her, she found another way to get the money. He says, how? and she says, Gladys was stealing money from Sasha.
Thunder rumbles as Ava raises her glass and says, here’s to the end of the Windymere era. Good riddance to this place and everything that happened here. She sips her martini, and flashes back to the argument she and Nikolas had that ended with her cracking him over the head and thinking he was dead.
Doc tells Hans, we have a saying in the US; follow the money. That’s what led them here. Laura asks if there’s anything Hans can tell them, and he says, Nikolas indeed has a substantial amount of money with them, but it’s separate from the Cassadine estate. Nikolas has several separate accounts. A large amount was sent to him by his Uncle Victor. His condolence on Victor’s death. Both Doc and Laura are like, no, and Doc asks if there’s been any recent activity in Nikolas’s accounts. Hans says, as a matter of fact, there’s been quite a bit. There have been several withdrawals. Laura asks if Hans has seen him, and Hans says, no, but he’ll print out the records for them. Laura thanks him, and Hans leaves. Doc says, this could mean Nikolas is alive, and Laura says she hopes so.
Spencer says he can’t believe it, and she says, that she’s in love with him? He’d better believe it. He says, no. That it took her so long to say it. He was just professing his love to her back in the hotel room and she didn’t say anything back, so he just assumed… She says, that she didn’t feel the same way? and he says he didn’t know. Why didn’t she say anything then? She says she learned a thing or two from Aunt Stella. She said, good things come to those who wait. He says he would have waited an eternity for her to say those words and he’s so glad she did. He doesn’t know if she’s noticed, but he’s not the most patient person in the world. She says, him? What is he thinking about? He says, that he’s the luckiest guy in the world, and takes her hand. He says he’s loved her for so very long. Since the day he met her. She says, that was a long time ago, wasn’t it? They’ve certainly been through a lot since then. We go down Spencer and Trina Memory Lane, but not too far, since it was another actress then, and there’s a song part. He says, the best is yet to come, and kisses her hand.
Sonny says, so Nina is telling him that Gladys is stealing from her daughter-in-law? and Nina says, yeah. Gladys has been syphoning money from Sasha’s bank account for months, until she drained it. And she was desperate because she still owed Selina Wu a lot of money. Then when Sasha came to Gladys and said she wanted to end the conservatorship, she panicked. Gladys doesn’t want anyone to know what she’s doing. He says, Sasha came to him months ago and said she felt stronger and didn’t need a guardian. Gladys told him that she was against ending the guardianship. Is Nina telling him that Gladys tried to make sure this didn’t happen? She takes his hand and says, Gladys did a lot more than just that.
Drew tells Willow that he gets where Michael is coming from. Everyone knows how Carly feels about Nina. But he keeps getting reminded, not only is life short, but it’s so fragile. They shouldn’t waste their time arguing with people and holding grudges. It just takes too much energy. Willow says she knows. After losing her mother, she realized how important family is. Harmony was never really her family, but the Quartermaines are. She feels so blessed to be a part of them. They’re so generous and loving… He says, and crazy, and stubborn, and combative. She says she knows, but she wouldn’t trade their money them for anything. He says, neither would he.
Elizabeth scrubs at her scrubs in the locker room, and sees Finn’s ID hanging from a locker. She looks over to see him in the shower. Since the doors are wide open. She leaves her ID on the table, and walks into the shower stall with him.
It continues to storm on Spoon Island. Ava turns around, and jumps, dropping her martini.
Hans comes back, and says, here are the current records for Mr. Cassadine’s accounts, handing them to Laura. She says, thank you so much. She looks through a folder and says, wow. There are quite a few withdrawals, aren’t there? Doc says, and these dates line up. They started just a few months ago. She says, right after Nikolas went missing, and Hans says, his colleagues tell him the withdrawals were made in person by Mr. Cassadine. As she can see, there’s a recent transfer for a substantial amount. He’ll leave her with these records. He has to attend to another matter. She says, he’s been so helpful. She can’t thank him enough. He says, always a pleasure, and says, nice meeting Doc. Doc says, they really appreciate this, and they shake hands. Hans says, of course (🍷), and leaves. Laura says, he’s alive. Her son is alive. Thank God. She and Doc hug, and he says, this might lead them to him.
The waiter asks if Trina and Spencer would like to see the dessert menu, and Spencer looks to Trina, but she says, no thank you. They have to get going. He says he’ll take the check, and the waiter leaves. As much as I’m not keen on Spencer, I’m glad Trina is looking forward to her first time with him. Usually, there’s all this angst surrounding that, so it’s nice to see the flip side.
Elizabeth goes to Finn, and they kiss. She asks what he’s thinking, and he says he doesn’t want to think anymore. I’m thinking, why is she still wearing her scrubs? They start getting busy.
Nina tells Sonny, Sasha needed to get out of Ferncliff now. She needed to get away from this so-called doctor that was taking care of her. And the only way to do that was to pay this guy off. Sonny says, son of a bitch, and Nina says, a lot of stuff happened, but the bottom line is, Cody Bell broke Sasha out of Ferncliff. He says, Dante’s friend? and she says, yeah. Somehow, he got into Ferncliff, and he took her with him. Gladys said that Cody kidnapped her, but she doesn’t believe that. He says he’s sorry that Gladys put her in this position, but she says, no. She’s sorry she didn’t tell him earlier; she was trying to fix it herself. Anyway, he doesn’t need to apologize. He says, Gladys is family, but he’s put up with this way too long. That’s on him. Gladys will be dealt with. He probably doesn’t know who to go after first, Selina, Gladys, or the so-called doctor.
Drew thanks Willow for coming to see him, and she leaves. In the hallway, a woman turns around and Willow sees it’s Harmony.
Carly tells Michael, Diane said this judge is hoping to get a seat on the Circuit Court, and it’s really important because it’s a steppingstone to the Supreme Court. (The stuff I learn from this show.) He asks what that has to do with Drew’s sentence, and she says, he was hoping to look good. He could have given Drew a harsher sentence because he wanted to look good to the Justice Department. She doesn’t know. It’s all speculation, and it’s going to be really tough to prove actual misconduct. He says, what if they don’t have to prove it? What if the appearance of misconduct is enough? She asks what he means, and she says, let’s say we get the story out to the press. Maybe Drew’s case would gain some traction. She says, they could get Alexis to run a piece in The Invader, and that will put pressure on the judge, but he says, they have to tread lightly though, because Alexis is a former attorney and she’s scrupulous. Alexis won’t run a hit piece on Judge Kim just because Carly asks her to. Carly says, Alexis won’t do it for her, but there’s someone else she’d do it for.
Ava asks what the hell Mason is doing here. Did Giles let him in? He says, the guy in the penguin suit? He’s long gone. She asks what he wants, and he says, it depends. What is she offering? She says, nothing. She said her piece yesterday, so get out of here. He walks closer, and she says she told him, get out of here. She’ll call the cops. He says, go for it. We’ll be long gone before the cops can get here. She says, we? and he says, yeah.
Spencer opens the hotel room door, and Trina sees red rose petals on the bed. She says, Spencer… and goes to him, kissing him. They get busy, and there’s a song part. Another minority I’m in is, no rose petals on the bed please. Wouldn’t they stick to you?
Nina says, Sonny can’t do anything tonight. He can deal with this tomorrow. The only thing that matters is planning their wedding. He says, no. Actually, the only thing that matters is getting married.
Willow asks what Harmony is doing here, and Harmony says she came looking for Willow. Willow asks, why? and Harmony says she came to warn Willow. Willow says, about what? and Harmony’s lips move, but we can’t hear the words. Willow wakes up on one of the couches in the waiting area at the hospital.
Trina and Spencer bask in the afterglow, and he says he has no words for her. She says, wow, and they kiss.
Doc asks if Laura sees anything, and she says she’s looking for a pattern; a clue as to where Nikolas might be now. But it’s this one very large withdrawal. Does Doc think he opened another account so he could maybe hide what he’s doing or where he is? He says, maybe, but they’re not going to figure anything out right now. He suggests they take these back to the hotel for champagne. This is information worth celebrating. She says, it is, and hugs him. She says her son is alive and they’re celebrating. And their search was not in vain. Again, if Nikolas wanted to let her know he was alive, he could have just picked up the phone instead of making her trot halfway around the globe.
Ava says she’s not going anywhere with Mason, and reaches for a fireplace poker. He says he wouldn’t do that if he were her, and she tells him, stay away from her. He says, she ratted them out. She wasn’t smart.
Elizabeth approaches the reception desk and asks if Amy has checked on the patient in 1002. Amy says she did and he’s fine. Elizabeth looks tired. Does she want Amy to get her a coffee? Nothing like a little caffeine to get you through the night shift. Elizabeth says she’ll never sleep tonight if she has one of those. Finn comes out, and Amy says, here are the labs he’s been waiting for, and asks why they both have wet hair.
Spencer tells Trina, you know when I’m happiest? When I’m with you. He means it. They kiss some more.
Someone walks into Hans’s office, and he says he assumes they’re here for more money. Nikolas closes the door and says, yes. He needs to make another withdrawal. Hans says, he just missed his mother, and Nikolas says, did he? Hans says, she was just here with her husband. They’re looking for him. His mother is a very gracious woman. She loves him and his disappearance has given her a large amount of pain. Be a good son and do the right thing. Nikolas says he plans to.
We see the living room at Windymere is empty.
Carly asks why Drew isn’t sleeping. He should be resting. He says he got some sleep. Then Willow came to visit and he’s sure he’s going to nod off again, so he’s good. She should go home. She should be with the girls. She says, Josslyn’s with them; they’re fine. She’s not going to stay long. She just needed to be with him, even if it’s just to watch him sleep. She loves him. She’s so sorry this happened to him. He tells her not to worry. Everything’s going to be okay. She says, he’s damn right, because she’s going to make sure.
Michael asks if Drew’s okay, and Willow says she thinks so. It looks like Drew will recover. The surgery went well. They had a good visit. She’s really glad she saw him. He asks her, what’s wrong? but she says, it’s nothing. He says, if she’s not feeling well, she has to tell him. She says, it’s not that. After she left Drew’s room, she sat in the lounge for a bit and nodded off. He says, she’s pushing herself too hard. She should have waited before going back to work. She says she guesses she was a bit more tired than she realized, but that’s not what’s bothering her. She had the strangest dream about her mother. He says, Nina? but she says, no, Harmony. But it was only a dream.
Nina tells Sonny that she doesn’t care about the dress and the flowers and the – she flips through some of the papers on the bed – cake. It doesn’t matter. He says, it seems like it matters to her because she’s doing a lot of planning, and she says she has, but it’s also insignificant right now. With everything that’s happened these last few months; with Sasha being committed, and Curtis getting shot. She feels really guilty about planning a big wedding because a lot of people that they love are suffering. He says he’s got an idea, and she says, what? He says, why don’t they elope? He’s serious. All they care about is to say their vows and become husband and wife. She even said she didn’t want to deal with this right now. She says, but Sonny… and he says, the planning’s going to be out of control. Olivia is going to keep coming to her with more options, and do they really care what icing is on the cake? (Well… yeah.) She says she doesn’t know, and he says, we will fly to the island tomorrow. We will get married. What does she say? She tells him that she says yes! throwing all the papers in the air.
On Monday, Sonny says, that’s exactly what he wanted him to do; Laura says she’s not giving up her search; Valentin tells Martin that Charlotte’s future depends on their conversation today; and Sasha says she plans to do just that.

General Hospital
On the phone in the elevator, Sonny says, that’s excellent news. They’ll be in touch. Cyrus’s voice says, it is not often that we get to live in and appreciate the humility of the Lord, but on days when our salvation is imminent, our faith calls us to give thanks in an especially joyful way.
We see Cyrus preaching to a group in the library, and he says, hear me when I tell you something – God is coming. And we who have waited with faith and patience and humility are privileged to bear witness. Rejoice, my brothers, rejoice! Amen. The group applauds.
Carly runs into Kelly’s, telling Josslyn that she’s sorry she’s late. She knows the concert starts soon. Josslyn says, don’t worry about it. She guesses Carly didn’t see her text. She’s not going.
Brook says, Chase isn’t joking, and he says he’s 100% serious. She says, he wants her to move in with him, and he says, yes. She says, no.
Olivia brings Ned out by the pool. It’s empty, and he says, slow night, huh? She says, not exactly. She sent everyone home. He asks, why? and she says she wanted them to be alone out here. He says, to do what exactly? and she says, remember. Ned, remember us. Remember who you used to be.
At the Bistro, Charlotte asks why Valentin has that look, and he says, what look would that be? She says, the look he gets when he’s about to tell her something she won’t like.
Maxie turns on the lights at Lulu’s house, and goes in with Georgie, James, and Felicia. Georgie says, this was her big surprise, a visit to Aunt Lulu’s house? James says he’s surprised. He thought they were going to a Woodchuck’s game. Felicia tells him that they’re going to the game soon, but right now, they’re on an amazing adventure. Georgie asks, what is this amazing adventure? and Felicia says, they’re here to explore. James says, explore what? and Felicia says, the house. Maxie says, and maybe stake out which bedroom is going to be his new room, and James says, she means… Maxie says, no more sharing. They’re moving in here. This is their new house. Funny. I don’t remember Lulu’s house being this huge. I’ll just say it. This ain’t your Lulu’s house.
On the phone at the MetroCourt, Nina says, unfortunately, that’s a question for Olivia and she’s not here, so they’ll have to wait. She tosses down the phone, looking harried, and looks up to see Sonny come in. She says, this is a nice surprise. She didn’t know he was coming here tonight. They hug, and he says, this is the best joint in town, especially the view. She says she’s glad he likes it. There’s something she really needs to talk to him about… Kristina walks in, and asks if Nina is joining them, but Nina says, no. This dinner is just for the two of them. She has to work. Olivia asked her to be on the floor tonight. She starts to leave, but Sonny asks what she had to tell him. She says she can take care of it herself. It’s really nothing. Enjoy their dinner. There’s a great steak special tonight. Sonny says, then he’s got it all. He has great steak, a gorgeous fiancé, a brilliant daughter. He’s got it all right here, right? The three of them smile.
Ned starts to leave, but Olivia tells him, wait. His daughter Brook, Ned’s daughter, is in a lot of pain right now because of something Tracy did. She ran out of the house because of his mother. He says, don’t put that on him, and she says, of course (🍷) not, but he was always the bridge between the two of them. He could always sort it out. There are people who still need him; his mother and his daughter and their son… the kid… Leo? For their sake, can he please just try?
Nina says she’ll send the waitress over, and Sonny thanks Kristina for being so supportive of him. Kristina says she genuinely likes Nina. Not everyone’s against him too. She can see how happy Nina makes him. She puts her hand on his.
Cyrus tells the group, today is the day for miracles. A time of righteousness, and yes, vengeance. But without the dark, there can be no light; and without vengeance, there can be no righteousness. So let us pray that this vengeance passes by unscathed, so that we may testify to the cleansing power of our Creator. The Warden Garten watches as he speaks, and he says, for all the world’s a cage, and we are all inmates in God’s celestial play, trying to break free from the grip of licentiousness, arrogance, and evil. As it says in Deuteronomy 23:14; for the Lord thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee. Therefore shall they camp be holy that He see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee. He looks at the warden.
Willow comes into the restaurant with Wiley, who runs to Nina. She hugs him, and Sonny tells Kristina, look how happy she is.
Josslyn tells Carly that they can’t go to the concert anymore because suddenly, Dex has to do something for Sonny. Carly says, oh, and Josslyn says she hates that Carly knows exactly how she’s feeling. Carly says, so Dex has to work for Sonny and Josslyn has to make alternate plans. Been there, done that. Josslyn says, it’s not that; it’s the situation. She knows she said she was moving on and trying to put it behind her, but she hates that Dex is putting himself in danger. Carly says, that’s who Dex was when Josslyn met him. He’s a guy who takes risks, for better or worse. Josslyn says, yeah, but now he’s protecting Sonny, and taking those risks because of Carly and because of Michael. Carly says, and that’s his choice, and it’s for his protection. Josslyn says she knows. It’s just, some days are harder than others. Carly says she gets that, but if Josslyn got into this thinking she was going to change Dex, that’s not going to happen.
Chase says, Brook doesn’t want to live with him? and she says she doesn’t think he’s thought this through. He says he has, and she says, oh really?Because a whole two and a half second deliberation isn’t exactly thorough. He says, it’s not like they haven’t lived together before, and she says, exactly. That’s what she’s saying. The first time, she drove him absolutely crazy, and the second time was for Bailey. He says, the third time will be for love.
Charlotte says, Maxie and her family are living at her mom’s house? and Valentin says, her mother always loved Maxie and her children. Doesn’t she think it might be nice to have some people living in that house? It’s been sitting empty. She says, yeah, but she just wishes it was her mom coming home to live there. He says he does too, but how does she feel about Maxie and her kids moving in? She says, why bother asking her when it’s already done? and he says, the decision to rent was Dante’s. He’s just asking because he cares about her feelings, so why doesn’t she tell him? She says, it’s just another place, like all of the places she’s lived. None of them last.
James runs through the living room saying, this house is huge, and there’s a backyard. He can make a treehouse. Wait. How many rooms are there? Felicia suggests they take a reconnaissance mission and count the rooms. Ready for take-off? Let’s go. They run out, and Maxie asks Georgie, what’s going on? Doesn’t she like the house? Georgie says, ofcourse (🍷) she likes it. She remembers playing here when she was little. It seemed even bigger then. But this is Aunt Lulu’s house.
Josslyn says she doesn’t want to change Dex. Why would Carly say that? Carly says she’s been down this road, many times. She wouldn’t be Josslyn’s mother if she didn’t want to spare Josslyn from unnecessary pain. Josslyn says she’s not in pain, and Carly says, Josslyn doesn’t have to convince her; she just has to be honest with herself. Worrying about Dex, knowing he’s always in danger, is a heavy burden. And if she decides she doesn’t want to do this anymore and doesn’t want to be a part of that life, that’s okay. She just has to admit it to herself, and then she has to tell Dex. Josslyn tells Carly not to put her history with Sonny on her. She’s just disappointed, and that doesn’t mean she wants to break up with Dex. Actually, she thinks she’s still going to go to the concert because she has a bunch of friends going. Carly says, great, and Josslyn says, don’t wait up for her. Carly says, okay, and Josslyn leaves.
Brook says, Chase knows she loves him, right? and he says, yes… She says, part of the reason she does is, he’s like a knight. When someone’s in trouble, he can’t help but want to fix it. He says, she’s not just someone. They’re in a good place, and he can see she’s hurting at home. She says she appreciates his concern, but she doesn’t think living together is what they need right now.
Nina says she’s so surprised to see Wiley. She’s glad he came. Wiley sees Sonny, and says he wants to see grandpa. Nina looks at Willow, who nods, and she brings Wiley over to Sonny. Wiley and Sonny high-five, and Kristina tells Wiley that he’s looking sharp. Wiley suggests they go to grandpa’s and have a barbecue and play baseball, but Sonny says, where he lives is kind of high up. You can’t play baseball. Nina says, but if you stand on the terrace, you can see all of Port Charles. Wiley says, really? and tells Willow, let’s all go to grandpa’s and have picnic on the terrace.Kristina can come too, and Amelia and Nina, Grandpa Sonny… Michael comes out of the elevator, and Wiley continues, mommy, daddy, and Leo too? Sonny says, he can invite anybody he wants, and Willow goes over to Michael. He asks if it’s a party, and she says, yeah. Nina was here when she arrived, then Wiley saw Sonny and went to say hello. He says, if it’s okay with her, it’s okay with him. Wiley runs to Michael, who hugs him. Michael smiles at Sonny, then realizes he’s smiling at Sonny.
Maxie tells Georgie, Aunt Lulu is her best friend, and she thinks Aunt Lulu would want them to fill this place with laughter and memories, just like the memories they made with her when she lived here. Georgie asks if it won’t make Maxie miss Aunt Lulu more if they live here, and Maxie takes her hand, saying, she’ll miss Aunt Lulu no matter where they live. That’s not going to change, but being here does make Maxie feel a teeny bit closer to her. It’s almost like she gave us a little present, right? Maxie wouldn’t have brought them here if she didn’t feel good about it. Lulu asks if she can paint her room purple, and Maxie says she can. (I painted my room purple when I was around Georgie’s age. Is that a thing when you’re a tween?) Felicia comes back with James, and he says, guess what? There’s four bedrooms, one for each of them. And he’s already picked his. Georgie says, no fair. She’s older and she gets to pick first. James says he forgot. Age before beauty. He runs off, Georgie chasing him. Felicia says she’s so glad Maxie is doing this, and Maxie says, so is she.
Ned asks what Olivia wants him to do. He’s not making any guarantees. She says she understands it. She just wants to walk him through what happened that night. He says, the night of the supposed accident, and she says, see if it comes back to him. He asks how she can walk him through it if she wasn’t here. He heard it was just Tracy and Drew who saw him fall. She leads him to the other side of the room, and says, Drew told her everything that happened. They can just give it a try. He says, all right, whatever. Lay it on him. She says, he started out over here – she walks across the room – and he saw Drew and Tracy arguing over here. So just walk to her… slowly, and see if anything feels familiar. Okay? Is he ready? He says, ready, and starts to walk.
Brook says she and Chase are in a really good place and she wants to keep it that way, but he says, moving in isn’t going to change that. If anything, it’ll bring them closer. She says, or closer to World War III. She drove him crazy when she was just temporarily couch surfing. She’s not the neatest person. She leaves her stuff everywhere. She thrives in creative clutter. He says, so they had a few discussions about clutter, and she says, more than a few. He was counting the days until she left him to his Zen world of order. He says, then when she left, his place felt empty. He missed her, and it hasn’t felt right since she left. Make it right. Move back in with him.
Local guy Steve goes into Kelly’s, and Carly asks if he wants the usual. He says he likes what she’s done with the place. It’s gotten a lot nicer since she took over. She says, it was a personal project, and he tells her, this might not be his place to say, but he thought she should know. Her ex-husband is in for a world of trouble.
Warden Garten gestures that she wants to talk to Cyrus, and he suggests the group take a break to reflect on their redemption. Cyrus says he hopes the warden hasn’t come to stop their study. He and his friends are just trying to let go of their past so they can look toward a righteous future. She says, don’t worry. She’s not here to break up his group. She just wanted to see it for herself. She’s impressed. He says, her support means a great deal, and she says, he genuinely seems like a changed man. He says, after his heart attack, he’s come to see life in a new light. His faith was rejuvenated. She says, while she might not share his exact faith, she’s relying on him for a common cause. He says, trust him. He wants nothing but the best. He believes everything is unfolding exactly as it’s meant to be. She says, let’s hope so, and he says he has only one purpose now; to bring about God’s will on earth. She says she’d hate for him to disappoint her after all his progress, and starts to leave, but he calls to her and she stops. He says, sometimes the most unexpected alliances can lead to the most extraordinary outcomes. Who knows what a difference he and his flock together can achieve? She smiles at him, and I have no clue what to make of this.
A wooden crate stamped with the Pikeman name and logo is unloaded on the docks. Dex says, they’re late, and Gabe (?) says, sometimes there are delays.This shipment’s too important for them not to pick up. They’ll be here. Dex says, the sooner the better. The boss wants this stuff out of here. He looks out to the water using binoculars.
Nina says hi to Michael, and tells him that she’ll get them a table. She calls Trish over, and tells Wiley that it was so good to see him. They go to their table, and Wiley asks Michael if they can have Grandpa Sonny and Nina over for baseball and a barbecue. They live up too high. They can have a party with everyone at their house. Michael says, if that’s what Wiley wants, he thinks they can make it happen.
Sonny tells Kristina that he can’t believe how fast Wiley is growing. Such a nice surprise. Was that her? She says, no. She wishes she could take credit for that, but she can’t tell a lie. That was pure synchronicity. (I would have said serendipity, but okay.) Sonny asks why she wanted to meet for dinner, and she asks if she has to have a reason. He says, she always does, and she guesses that’s true. She wanted him to be the first to know that the LGBTQIA+ foundation board is complete. The Corinthos-Davis House is a go. He says, that’s fantastic, and she says she’s so excited, and she couldn’t have done it without him.
Olivia says, this is the spot where Ned fell. Drew said, Ned came rushing toward him over here, and had something really important to tell him. Nina walks in, and says she doesn’t mean to interrupt whatever they’re doing, but she heard Olivia closed the pool, and she wanted to see if everything’s okay. Olivia says she should have warned Nina. They’re just doing a little exercise. They’re trying to see if they can stimulate Eddie’s memory. Nina asks if she’s sure that’s wise, and Olivia says she thinks it could help. Nina says she knows head trauma is unpredictable and would hate for Olivia to risk anything, and Olivia thanks her, but says she thinks they’ll be okay. Nina says she doesn’t mean anything by that. She hopes their experiment works. Good luck. She strides out of the room, taking a last look at them before she goes.
Valentin says, it’s really done a number on Charlotte, all this shuffling around, moving from place to place. It can’t have been easy, and if it hurt her, he’s sorry. It’s his fault. She says she always knew he’d be with her if he could. He’s in between places, living with Anna while she was at camp. With grandma away, she can’t stay at her place with Spencer and Esme. Dante and Sam are nice, but… He says, it’s not her home. That’s what he’s always wanted to give her, a stable place to call home. Listen to him. Things are changing as they speak. She says she knows. Things are always changing. That’s the only thing that stays the same.
Maxie tells Felicia that she’s going to be totally honest. It feels really strange to be here after all this time. She knows they had to get out of that apartment, and she was putting her finances together so she could get a place. Then Tracy’s horrible lawsuit happened. So she was happy when Sam suggested they rent this place. Can Felicia imagine trying to juggle a lawsuit and a mortgage at the same time? She would have been pulling her hair out. Felicia says, Tracy Quartermaine leaves a trail of destruction wherever she goes. She doesn’t like to wish ill on anyone, but she’ll be so glad when they wipe that smug smile off Tracy’s face and win the lawsuit. And they will win, because they have the truth on their side. Maxie says she’s not so sure about that. Tracy Quartermaine is ruthless. And she’ll do anything to win, including using her own granddaughter as a spy.
Brook asks Chase if he knows the expression, be careful what you wish for; you just might get it. He says he knows it. Whatever happened to the fearless BLQ who leaps before she looks? She says, maybe she became a little more cautious because she sprained her ankle a few too many times. She has something to lose now – him. And she doesn’t want him to regret her moving in. He says he’s not going to regret it, but she says, he might. And not just because she’s messy. She does stuff. She does stupid stuff that she regrets, like getting mixed up in Tracy’s dirty tricks.
Carly says she doesn’t want to cause Steve any problems, but what does he mean, trouble? He looks around and says, it’s probably nothing, but he passed what seemed to be a staging area down by Elm, the fisherman village. It looked like Feds. They’re definitely not local. And he heard the name Corinthos.
Cyrus says, today is the day our unspoken adversary is just one step behind, and those of us who have been in his employ, willingly or not, are now called upon to awaken and cast off his infernal darkness. Wake up! Your life is waiting for you. The warden tells the guard that she wishes more inmates were as inspired as Cyrus, and she leaves. Cyrus smiles.
Nina flashes back to Ned overhearing her talking to Martin, and that she’s the one who turned Drew and Carly in to the SEC, when he’s being accused of it. Willow calls to her, and Nina goes over to their table. She asks if everything is all right. Did they get everything they ordered? Willow says, they did, and thanks her. She says, Wiley had the idea they should have a barbecue with baseball at their house. Wiley tells Nina that he has a new mitt, and Willow asks if that sounds like something Nina would like to join them for. Nina looks at Michael, who nods, and she says she’d love to go.
Kristina tells Sonny that she doesn’t want to jinx it, but she thinks Wiley might be the key to Michael and Willow accepting Nina. Sonny says, they’ve been through a lot and he thinks things are finally starting to turn. She says she’s so happy for them both, and he says he thinks she’s leading the way with this new center. He’s proud of her.
Olivia says, anything? but Ned says he doesn’t know. He’s told so often about what happened that night, he feels like he might remember… but he doesn’t. This is just another pool. She says, okay. She knew it was a long shot. He says he’s sorry to disappoint her, but she says, no. He was amazing. She thanks him so much for trying. He says she’s been pretty good to him and he’s been really hard on her. He just wants to say he’s sorry. She tells him that he’s forgiven. He says, friends? and holds out his hand. She takes it, and says, friends. For a moment, I think he’s going to kiss her.
Brook says, it’s not just about her and Chase moving in together, although that’s definitely nerve-wracking. She doesn’t have the greatest track record, and this whole situation with Tracy is just another thing she messed up. He says he’s not asking for or expecting her to be perfect. He loves her just the way she is, flaws and all. He’s not trying to rescue her. Her moving in makes sense… to him anyway. How about her? When she strips away all the worries and regrets of the past, how does she feel about it? She starts to cough.
Carly brings out Steve’s to-go bag, and says, it’s on her. He says, she doesn’t have to do that, but she says she appreciates the information he gave her. He thanks her and leaves. I like Steve. He has a pleasant way about him. Carly is about to call Sonny, when Chase runs in and asks if he can have a glass of water for Brook.
Nina asks if it would be okay if she brought Wiley over and taught him how to make a Roy Rogers. And Wiley can tell her all about his new mitt. Michael asks Wile, what do you say? and Wiley asks Willow, can he please? Willow says, all right, but just a small one. They don’t want all that sugar. Nina says, they definitely don’t, and hustles him away. Michael asks if Willow is sure she’s okay with this. She’s been having a lot of Nina lately. Willow says, it’s fine. She’s not 100% comfortable with Nina, but Wiley is. Micheal agrees, and she says, they have to start somewhere. The important thing is bringing this whole family back together.
At the bar, Nina tells Wiley, now they add the sugar free cola, and Kristina tells Sonny that they can go over there if he wants, but he says, Nina’s got it covered. He wants to hear more about her Board. She says, they have Dr. Randolph, Michael, and he knows Diane… His phone rings, and he sees it’s Carly. Kristina says he can take it, but he tells her, this is more important, and shuts his phone off. Off all the times, eh?
Cyrus says, we may be tarred with a brush whose mark can never be removed, but that does not mean we can’t contribute to God’s work. Perhaps we may never sit at the foot of His majestic throne, but we can know that our lives have not been lived in vain. There is a way for each and every one of us to do our part of the Divine work, no matter how small that part may seem. For the Lord said, the lowest among us, the most damnedest among us is capable of redemption. And he who protects the innocent is the first among men.
Another crate is put on the dock, and Dex says, they’re here. He runs down the stairs, and tells another guy that he wants everything ready for a quick transfer. His phone rings, and he tells Gabe that he’s got to take this. He’ll be back when the ship docks. Gabe says he’s got it, and Dex slips around the corner. He says, Miss Spencer? and Carly says, Josslyn told her that he was doing a job for Sonny tonight. He’s like, uh… and she says, whatever it is, get out of there. There’s going to be a raid. Dex looks out, and she asks if he can hear her. Get out of there now.
As they check out the kitchen, Felicia says she has a good feeling about Maxie being here. Almost as if the house is welcoming her. It wants Maxie to make it into a home again. Maxie says she thinks Lulu would want that too. To a new beginning, like Felicia at the hospital. Felicia says, she’s right. That came as a surprise. She never saw herself working as a volunteer at General Hospital. Maxie says she’s sure Felicia will be a lot better at it than she was. Felicia says she loves Maxie, and she’s so proud of her. She starts to cry, and Maxie hugs her, saying, don’t cry. She loves Felicia too. James calls from the other room, and Maxie and Felicia dash in. James says his room has a secret hiding spot, and Georgie says she’s got the view and the window seat. James says, Bailey can have the little room, and Georgie asks when they’re moving in. Maxie says, not soon enough. Should they go home and start packing? James and Georgie nod, and they all file out, Maxie pausing and smiling before she turns out the light.
Valentin says he knows he let Charlotte down, but she says, let’s not talk about that. He says he’s made mistakes. He’s made far more mistakes than he cares to mention. It’s taken him way to long to get her the stable life she deserves. She says she doesn’t care how long it took. She just wishes they could be together all the time. He says, they will be. He just has to get these last details in place. And until then, know this. She’s the most important person in his world. It’ll always be the two of them. She goes over to him and hugs him. She says, just the two of us, papa.
Chase brings Brook the water, and she gulps some down. She says she literally talked herself hoarse trying to come up with all the reasons she shouldn’t live with him. He says, she knows she has to take care of her throat, and she says, she does want this. She wants nothing more than to live with him. He says he knew she would see it his way eventually. He holds out his hand and says, let’s go home. They stroll out of the courtyard hand in hand.
Dex says, the boat is docking, and Carly says, forget about that. There is no time. He has to get out of there. As he’s about to go back out, floodlights come on and the Feds are there. One says, put their hands where he can see them. They’re all under arrest. Get on the ground now. All of the guys on the dock comply, but Dex remains unseen. He peeks out, sees what’s going on, and runs up the stairs.
Cyrus says, today, the Almighty will focus His cleansing vengeance on those who collaborate with our great enemy. Proverbs 2:22: The wicked shall be cut off from the earth and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. He smiles.
Olivia says, the least she can do is buy Ned a drink after going through that poolside psycho drama with her. He says he’ll never turn down top-shelf, and she says, there’s a little Quartermaine left in him. (I was thinking more Larry Ashton.) They go to the bar, and Nina watches.
Willow tells Wiley, that was delicious, and he says, with two cherries. She and Michael smile at each other.
Since everyone is way too happy, when Kristina starts to tell Sonny about the upcoming first Board meeting, a bunch of guys come out of the elevator approach the table. One says, Mr. Corinthos, you’re under arrest for violations of the National Security Act, and shows his badge. Kristina says, what the hell? and gets up, but one of the Feds grabs her. Sonny tells him to get his hands off of his daughter, and the arresting Fed tells Sonny, do not escalate this. Sonny says he’s not escalating nothing, when Michael comes over and says, there’s no problem here, putting his hand on Kristina’s back. Kristina says, tell them; they’re arresting dad. Sonny tells Kristina that it’s okay, and they cuff him.
Wiley asks Willow what they’re doing to grandpa. Where are they taking him? Putting him on her lap, Willow tells him, it’s okay. It’s going to be okay.
Sonny tells Kristina, this is going to be cleared up, and the Feds march him to the elevator. Kristina tells Michael, do something.
Cyrus says, the Lord trieth the righteous, but the wicked and him that loveth violence, his soul hateth. Upon the wicked, He shall rain snares, fire and brimstone – Sonny is led into the elevator – and horrible tempests; this shall be the portion of their cup. The elevator door closes.
On Monday Tuesday, Carly says, Michael needs to tell her the truth right now; Austin asks what Nikolas is going to do; Dex tells Josslyn that somebody turned Sonny in; Cyrus says, Drew is no longer under Sonny’s protection; and Sonny tells someone that he’s not saying anything without his lawyer present.
It still doesn’t make any sense. What does separated, but living under the same roof even mean? Are they seeing other people? If they are, it seems like it would be difficult to work out their issues. If they’re not, then aren’t they just still married, but not getting busy? And her answer to the fan question is a non-answer.

General Hospital
On the phone, Lucy says, just listen to her. She needs them to get over to the courthouse, pronto… She doesn’t care what they’re doing; just drop everything. They don’t understand. Her life is at stake.
Brook and Maxie set down their bags in the courtroom, and Maxie says, Lucy has the best representation for them. Everything’s going to be okay. It’s just a preliminary hearing to see if this case is even going to move forward. Brook says, Maxie seems optimistic, and Maxie says she is. This is a good opportunity to smoke out the mastermind who’s behind this and shut them down for good.
Outside the house, Portia says she can’t tell Curtis how much it means to her having him home, and he says he knows it’s not going to be easy on any of them, but they’ll figure it out. Portia says, they’re all here for him, and he says he knows. Let’s do it. She opens the door, and Trina is there with Marshall. She says, welcome home, dad, running to Curtis and hugging him.
Michael comes into Kelly’s as Carly is serving, and he says, she has a real flair for this. She says she does. It runs in the family. Great Aunt Ruby ran this place for decades. He says he’s glad Bobbie kept it in their family, and she says, her too. She hugs him and says, it’s good to see him. She thanks him for coming by, and he says, of course (🍷). Why did she want to see him? She says she may have come up with a way to get Drew out of Pentenville.
Drew walks into the library, and Cyrus (who basically lives there) asks if he can interest Drew in a little soul cleansing. This book will help lead him to the Lord and all his prayers will be answered if only he asks. Drew thanks him, but says he’s looking for a book on rivers in upstate New York so he can do a little kayaking. Cyrus asks if it doesn’t make him long for a world he can’t be part of, and Drew says, it gives him something to look forward to when he’s out of here. Cyrus says, in the meantime, how fortunate for Drew that he’s under Sonny’s protection.
Sonny lets Brick into his office and asks, how was his flight? Brick says, long; too long. It’s good to see him though. Sonny asks if he wants coffee, and Brick says, anything strong. Sonny says, it’s all he’s got, and asks if Brick has an update. Brick says he does. That spy that was planted in Sonny’s home isn’t going to be a problem for him any longer. Sonny gives him that Sonny smile I love.
Janice asks Sasha how she’s feeling today, and Sasha says she’s so cold. Her head is throbbing and everything hurts. Please do something. Janice gives her another blanket, and says, she really needs to stay hydrated. Can she drink some water? Shivering under the blanket, Sasha says she thinks so, and Janice pours her a glass. Sasha takes a sip, and Janice says she’ll be back to check on her and give her something for that headache. Janice leaves, and Dr. Montague skulks around the corner and heads for Sasha’s room.
At her desk on the phone, Nina says, no, she doesn’t want to drop the two-page Deception ad… Why? Because it’s her magazine and she says it stays. Can they hold for a second? She clicks on the other line and says, she asked them to hold all her calls until she’s finished… Just send her in. She tells the person on hold that she’ll have to call them back, and Gladys walks in. Gladys says she understands congratulations are in order. She’s so happy for Nina and Sonny, and this practically makes them family now. Let her see that rock. Nina says, if Gladys has something to talk to her about, she’s so sorry, but she’s extremely busy right now. If Gladys sees her assistant, she’ll set something up. Gladys shuts the door and says, they have to talk now. It’s a matter of life and death.
Trina says, Curtis looks great, and handsome as always. Isn’t he, mom? He looks really fit. He must be really excited to be home. She tells him, come in, and he says, they’ve moved some things around. Portia says, they opened some things up a bit for him, and Trina says, they should have gotten rid of that coffee table a long time ago. She loves the open space. Wait until he sees what they did to his room. He’s going to love it. Come check it out.
Lucy comes into the courtroom and asks if they’re ready and able to kick this ridiculous lawsuit out on its keister, because if they don’t have The Deceptor to sell, their company is gone. Maxie asks, where’s their lawyer? and Lucy says she let her go. Maxie says, she did what? and Brook asks why she did that. Lucy says, obviously if they lose this lawsuit, they’re not going to have the money to pay her. They can’t afford her. Maxie says, they need her presentation, and Lucy says, don’t worry. She got somebody new, the best. Brook says, she just fired the best. Who did she get? Lucy says, Martin. He agreed to do it pro bono. Maxie says, great. Where is he? Lucy says, at the last minute, he flew the coop. Brook asks what they means, and Lucy says she doesn’t know. At the last minute, he had to do something with Valentin. She has a plan. They just have to stay focused and have hope. Come on, team, let’s stay positive. Maxie says, this is really bad. How are they supposed to halt the case if they don’t have representation?
Carly and Michael sit down, and Carly says she’s having Diane look into Drew’s case to see if the judge was bias. Michael says, bias in what way? and Carly says, that Judge Kim had a reason for going against Drew’s plea deal or that he has a pattern of being harder on white collar crimes. She doesn’t care. She’ll take whatever Diane can find at this point. She’s going to have another judge review the whole case, and hopefully, he can reduce the sentence or commute the whole damn thing. He says, if anyone can do it, it’s Diane. He hopes it works out for Drew’s case. Carly says she hopes so, because Diane is their only chance. He says, no matter what happens, Drew is strong. He can take care of himself. He’ll be okay. She says she knows he’s strong mentally; she’s just worried about him physically. He was already put in solitary confinement because he was in a fight. What if something else happens? Michael says, it won’t. Drew is under Sonny’s protection.
Drew tells Cyrus to stay out of his business, and Cyrus says he’s deeply sorry. Has he spoken amiss? Drew says, let’s skip all this; all the flowery gestures. Just tell him whatever it is Cyrus obviously wants to know. Cyrus says he really does appreciate Drew’s bluntness. Book was reminded on no uncertain terms that Drew is not to be touched. It was made crystal clear to him that Drew is under the protection and watchful eye of Sonny Corinthos. Drew says, and? and Cyrus says, good for him.
Brick tells Sonny that Betty Rutherford is no longer in Port Charles. She flew to Mexico. Sonny says he just assumed Betty’s job of spying on him was done when getting information on the Pikeman deal was finished. Let’s just hope Austin and Mason and whoever they were working for paid her off and told her to stay as far away from Port Charles as she can. Brick asks if he should have her brought back, but Sonny says, no. They’re hoping she’s out of his reach, but little do they know, she’s not. He has people in Mexico. If he needs questions answered, he can find her.
Nina tells Gladys to take a deep breath. What is this life and death matter? Gladys says, as Nina knows, their poor Sasha is still being treated in Ferncliff, and Sasha and Nina are pretty close. She knows how much Nina cares about Sasha, and she knows how close Sasha and Willow are best friends. Nina says, yes, they are. Sasha and Willow have been through a lot together. Gladys says, and Nina has been such a supportive and generous friend to Sasha. Nina says she loves Sasha. However rocky their relationship started out, she’s come to know Sasha as a wonderful and loving young woman. Gladys says she’s glad to hear Nina say that. That’s why she’s coming to her. She needs $50,000 today to cover Sasha’s medical expenses.
Montague goes into Sasha’s room, and closes the door. He takes out a syringe, and says, hello, Sasha. He’s going to give her something to take all her pain away. Sasha says, no, please. She doesn’t want it. Please don’t. No. He injects her.
Nina says, fifty grand? That’s a very large medical bill, and it’s very unusual it’s due so quickly. Gladys says she knows. It’s very upsetting. You’d think an institution like Ferncliff could wait until she’s on her feet before they demanded money. Nina says, Sasha has money. Gladys is her guardian, so she’s sure Gladys can use it at her discretion to pay her medical expenses. Gladys says, under normal circumstances, she could, and Nina asks, what changed? Gladys says, unfortunately, because of the Deception lawsuit, she can’t sell Sasha’s stock. Nina says, it makes sense that her money wouldn’t be accessible right now. She would do anything to help Sasha, but she’s a little curious. Why didn’t Gladys ask Sonny first? He’s her cousin; he’d be happy to help. Gladys says, as Nina probably knows, she and Sonny don’t have the greatest relationship, and money is an uncomfortable subject for them, but Nina says, this money is for Sasha, right? Just tell Sonny what’s going on. Gladys says she just figured they’d start with Nina. As she said, Nina is close to Sasha, and Willow is close to Sasha… Nina says, Gladys isn’t telling her everything. So if Gladys can’t be honest with her – she opens the door – she’s sorry. She can’t help her.
Sonny tells Brick, since Betty quit, he’s been having Mason and Austin followed, just in case they visit their boss. Brick says, any luck so far? and Sonny says, Austin was visiting Pentenville. He doesn’t know who Austin saw, but he had a medical bag, like maybe he was doing community service. Brick says, interesting. He’ll look into it and see what he can find. Sonny says, in the meantime, since they don’t know who Austin and Mason are working for, they need to ask themselves why this person wants information on him and Pikeman.
Michael tells Carly, so Dex visited the inmate who was fighting Drew and had him sent to solitary. Dex reminded him that Drew was under Sonny’s protection. She says, Sonny told her that he sent Dex there to send a message to back off Drew, and Michael asks when Sonny told her. She says, yesterday he came by here. He knew she was going to Pentenville to visit Drew, and he asked her if she saw Dr. Gatlin-Holt while she was there. He asks what she said, and she tells him, the truth; she did. Austin crossed through the visiting area, carrying his doctor bag, but that was it. Sonny asked her to let him know if she remembers anything else. He says, that’s the other reason Dex was at Pentenville, and she says, because of Austin? Michael says, he was following him for Sonny.
Lucy says she has a stomachache; it’s just horrible. She can’t believe they have a system where you can just nab all the hard work they’ve done all this time. Maxie says, Lucy… and Lucy says, it’s a grift. Someone is out to make a big, fat settlement… Maxie says, Lucy… and Lucy says, but they’re not going to be swindled. Deception will not be swindled. It’s just a nuisance lawsuit. They want cash and they’re going to exploit Deception for that and tarnish their reputation. Maxie shouts, Lucy! and Lucy says, what? Maxie asks if they have any idea who’s behind this, but Lucy says, no. That’s why they’re here kind of. Don’t they hate it? She hates this. She hates this. She hates this. Maxie asks if they at least know when the lawsuit was originally filed with the court, and Lucy says, nope. Maxie says, so they’re just completely in the dark, and Lucy says, yep, they are. Until the whole nonsense here is revealed. Then they’re going to have a very good idea who the culprit is and who they’re up against. Jack walks in.
Trina comes back out with Curtis and says, see? There’s a lot of room for Curtis. He thanks them, and says, they all went through a lot of trouble, and he appreciates it. Trina says, his room has the best view of the water, he doesn’t have to deal with the stairs, and did he see that his bathroom is wheelchair accessible? He says he did, and Trina says she picked out towels in his favorite color. He says, Trina and her mom certainly did an incredible job, and Trina says, it’s more her mom than her. Marshall asks if he and Curtis can go out to the patio for a minute. He has some things he wants to discuss in private. Curtis says, sure, and wheels himself out to the patio. He asks Marshall, what’s up? and Marshall says, there’s trouble at the club. Inside, Portia tells Trina that she sees what Trina is trying to do and appreciates it, but she may be making things worse.
Sonny says, Austin and Mason could be working for one of his competitors who heard about Pikeman, and Brick says, the more he deep dives into Pikeman, the more twisted it gets. Sonny asks what he found out, and Brick says, Pikeman’s got contracts all over the globe with many different governments, including the US. But one thing they know for sure, they make a whole lot of money. Sonny would know; they paid him generously. Sonny says, it almost cost him his life if it wasn’t for Dex, and Brick says, maybe someone’s trying to get rid of Sonny so they can get the money for themselves. Sonny says, they’re going to go through a whole lot of trouble to take something he doesn’t want.
Drew says, when he saw Sonny’s guy visiting Book, he assumed he was delivering a message from Sonny, and Cyrus says, and Book received it loud and clear. Drew says he never asked for Sonny’s protection, and Cyrus says, but he accepted it. Drew says he considers Sonny a friend of his. He respects Sonny, but just because he accepted Sonny’s offer of protection doesn’t mean he’s associated with Sonny’s world. Cyrus says, Drew doesn’t want any part of Sonny’s criminal enterprise. He admires Drew’s principles, but does he really believe he had a choice in the matter? Drew is protected whether he accepts it or not, which is ironic. Drew asks, why? and Cyrus says, because by extension, I now have Sonny’s protection too.
Carly says she can’t believe this arrangement is still working. That Dex reports back to Michael about Sonny’s businesses. Michael says, whatever Sonny lets Dex in on, Dex reports back to him, and she asks if Dex told him about Sonny’s interest in Austin. He says, Austin has a cousin named Mason Gatlin, and he and Austin were responsible for Betty Rutherford being hired. She’s the nanny who looked after Avery for a while, and it seems that she was their mole. Carly says she knew something was going on with Betty, and Michael says, so Sonny set her up, in the hopes she’d lead them back to whoever they work for. Dex’s job was to follow Austin, and he did, straight to Pentenville. Carly says, that’s where she saw him, and he says, apparently, Austin went into another room and Dex couldn’t see who he was visiting with. Did she? She says, no. She saw him walk through the visiting area carrying his doctor bag. She just assumed he was going to the infirmary. You know what? Maybe Drew can find out.
Trina tells Portia that she was trying to stay positive for Curtis. All the literature she read said the attitude makes a big difference when adapting. Portia says she knows, and she loves that Trina read the literature… Trina says, but she probably made Curtis feel uncomfortable, and Portia says, she had the best of intentions. Curtis knows that too. She loves her dad, and she was trying to help. But they just can’t push too hard. They have to let him go at his pace. They can’t just pretend nothing’s changed.
Marshall says, Selina circled back to him about buying the club, and Curtis asks what she said. Marhsall says, basically, she told him that they should sell it to her before it goes out of business. She didn’t come right out and threaten them that she’d run them out of business, but that’s the definite implication he got. Curtis says, maybe they should sell it, and Marshall asks if he’s lost his mind.
Lucy says, Jackson Montgomery, and he says, so they meet again. She says, they do. So tell her. What’s he doing here? He says he’s ready for round two with the devious, yet somehow captivating Lucy Coe, and she says, guess what? This time he’s on her turf. He says, that’s absolutely intentional. After all, her and her sister came all the way to Pine Valley to break in his safe. He figured the least he could do was make a trip to Port Charles. She says, spill it. He didn’t come here to have a sweet, little visit. Why is he here? He says he’s here for the Deception case and to make sure his client gets justice. (Hmm… wouldn’t there be a conflict of interest because of Lucy?) She asks, who’s his client? Who is he representing? He says, that would be telling, and sits down.
Curtis tells Marshall, the circumstances that made him open The Savoy and dedicate so much hard work to its success have radically changed. Marshall says, The Savoy is Curtis’s baby. He just needs a little more time to regroup. Curtis says, sometimes the best thing a successful person can do is walk away and cut their losses, but Marshall says, they can work through this. They can make this work. He can run the club until Curtis is ready to come back. They’ll call it a father/son venture. Curtis says he’s not even sure he wants to go back to it, but Marhsall says, he does; come on. Curtis says his dream of opening a nightclub has been realized. Maybe it’s time to move on. Marshall says, ultimately, it’s Curtis’s decision. He’s not going to push him, but he hopes Curtis reconsiders.
Trina tells Portia that she was over-the-top. She feels terrible. Portia says, she did nothing wrong, but Trina says she made Curtis feel uncomfortable. That’s the exact opposite of what she was trying to do. Portia says, but Curtis felt the love, and that’s all that really matters. Trina made him feel very welcome, but she thinks now they need to give him a little bit of room. She’s trying to find a balance too. There are so many adjustments they have to make, but they all love each other and they’re going to get through it together… as a family. She and Trina hug.
Lucy says she needs to tell Jack something. His client is a big, fat liar. Obviously, he or she is just trying to exploit Deception’s success. He says, or perhaps claim what is rightfully theirs. What does she think about that? She says she doesn’t think much of it, and she’ll tell him why. Does he want to know why? He says, oh gosh, yes, and she says, they did not steal The Deceptor. Jack says he hopes that’s the truth; he really does. He guesses time will tell. She says, speaking of time, where’s his client? Maybe they’re a bit afraid to show their scheming face. He says his client will be here. Don’t you worry about that.
Sasha is out cold, and Montague caps the syringe. Janice comes in and says she’s so glad Sasha’s sleeping. She was in a lot of pain earlier, poor thing. Montague says, she’ll get the rest she needs, and Janice says she doesn’t think Sasha is improving. She seems to be getting worse. He says, she was pretty severe when she was admitted. These kinds of recoveries take some time. Jancie says, maybe this isn’t the right kind of facility for her. Maybe she should be transferred to a private hospital where she can get more personalized care.
Gladys says, okay. Nina wants honesty? Nina says, that’s always best, and closes the door. Gladys says she got roped into a little poker game that she thought would just be a bit of fun. But what started off as just a few friendly hands of poker, turned into a losing streak and she dug herself into a hole. Nina says, let her make sure she understands what Gladys is telling her. This $50,000 is not about Sasha or her medical bills. Gladys need the money to pay off her gambling debt? Gladys says, but she’s getting better, and Nina says, at cards? (Ha-ha!) Gladys says she’s getting treatment. She’s going to Gamblers Anonymous. She just needs this one loan to get out of a tight spot… a really tight spot. Nina says, and Gladys came to her because Deception stock was frozen because of the lawsuit. So if the lawsuit wasn’t pending, she intended to use Sasha’s money to pay off her gambling debt?
Sonny says, Pikeman came to him originally because they wanted to use his territory to run their merchandise through Port Charles, and Brick says he remembers. They went to Valentin Cassadine, right? Sonny says, a man he doesn’t trust. But the money was so good for the first shipment, and Brick told him that they’re major players. Brick says, known globally, and Sonny says, that’s why he agreed to do it, and as promised, the money for the deal was incredible. But the money came at a cost, and he’s not sure the risk is worth the reward anymore.
Lawyer Alyse walks in, and Lucy asks what she’s doing here; she fired Alyse. Maxie says she rehired her, and Brook says, good job. Lucy says, actually, it is really good. She doesn’t think Scotty is coming. Maxie says, it’s going to be fine. Alyse is going to get this case thrown right out on its rear, right where it belongs. Right, Alyse? Alyse says she’ll do her best, and walks over to Jack, saying, Jackson Montgomery. He says, Alyse Vance, and they shake hands. She says, so he’s representing the clients suing Deception, and he says he is. She says, this should be a slam-dunk, and he says he thinks so, for him. Oh, she meant for her. He understands she took another shot at being the DA here in Port Charles. It’s got to be tough, falling on her face like that – twice. Alyse says she’s surprised he’s still allowed to practice, after that little incident in Pine Valley. When was that? He says, twenty years ago. She was a child. It’s ancient history. She asks what kind of scheme his client is trying to pull, and he says, no scheme. Maybe Lucy Coe is guilty of theft of intellectual property. Lucy says, yoohoo. She’s right here. She can hear them. The only thing she’s guilty of is making an excellent product consumers just love. Alyse hustles Lucy back over to her side of the courtroom, and Jack’s phone rings. He steps away, and Alyse says she has the updated documents Maxie emailed her. Maxie says she brought the originals, and Alyse says, this should be a piece of cake, if it’s as they say, and someone is just out for a quick and easy payday. Lucy says, that’s exactly what it is, cross her heart. Alyse wonders who would be stupid enough to sue. It’s obvious they have the receipts and the proof that they invented The Deceptor. Tracy walks in.
Marshall tells Curtis that he’d better get over to GH. His band booked a gig playing for some patients. Curtis says he’ll see Marshall later tonight, and Marshall leaves. Curtis flashes back to being a big, mean baby to Portia; telling her to let him go and that he doesn’t want to see her again. Portia comes out on the patio, and he says he apologizes for the way he spoke to her at the hospital. He was wrong and she didn’t deserve that. She thanks him and says she appreciates that. She knows he was going through a lot. Marshall is off to the hospital, and Trina went to see Spencer, and it’s just the two of them. Curtis says, and the wheelchair.
Carly says, with Drew inside Pentenville, he could ask around and see who Austin was visiting, but Michael says he doesn’t think they should get Drew involved. He’s got enough to deal with right now, just trying to survive in that place. Carly says, he’s right. She feels like Drew is already a marked man because he saved Cyrus’s life. Michael says he doesn’t want Drew asking questions, especially if Austin was there to deliver something to his boss. It would put Drew in even more danger.
Drew says he doesn’t want to speak for Sonny, but he thinks it’s pretty safe to assume Sonny wouldn’t lift a finger to protect Cyrus. Cyrus says, but Drew would, and he has. Not only did Drew perform CPR and keep him alive, Drew stepped in to defend him from Book. He had no reason to beyond Christian charity. He’s a noble man. Drew says he just doesn’t like watching an old man get beat up, no matter how much he despises Cyrus, and Cyrus says he has the feeling Drew would do it again, wouldn’t he? Whether Drew despises him or not. Drew says he would, and Cyrus says, and that speaks to the man Drew is. The kind of man he’s trying to be.
Gladys says she would have paid Sasha back, and Nina says she can’t help Gladys. Gladys says she came clean with Nina. She was honest about why she needs money. Nina says, either Gladys finds the courage to come clean with Sonny, tell him exactly what’s going on, and ask him for the money, or she can deal with her debt by herself. Gladys says, please… and Nina says, get out of her office. She has work to do. Go. Gladys walks slowly toward the door, and goes out to the reception area. Her phone rings, and Montague says, they have a little problem. Gladys asks what he did. Is Sasha worse? He says, there’s talk Sasha may need more personalized care and should be transferred to another facility, away from his attentive and gentle care here at Ferncliff. They both know what that means if it happens. She asks what he’s going to do, and he says he’ll have to make sure Sasha is in no condition to talk. So if she wants Sasha out, he wants his money – all of it – in two days.
Curtis tells Portia that he knows it’s pretty dark, but it’s true. He’s not saying he’s going to push her away again, because he won’t. But it’s time they come to the realization of what they can and can’t do. He’s feeling a bit overwhelmed right now, thinking about what he’s losing. She says she can’t even imagine what he’s feeling right now, but she loves him. He says, but he can’t love her back, and she says she knows he does, but he says, that’s not what he’s talking about. He just can’t physically love her back. She says she doesn’t know what kind of woman he thinks he married, but she’s here for him, and she promises him that they’re going to get through this… together. Apparently, no one has ever explained to Curtis, there’s more than one way to skin a cat and/or he’s never seen Coming Home.
Brook asks what Tracy is doing here, and Maxie says, it’s so nice of her to come and support Brook. And all of them for that matter. It’s been a really challenging time at Deception, and to be honest, it will look good to the judge to see someone like her in their corner. Lucy says she actually agrees with Maxie, and thanks Tracy. It’s really nice of her. She’s glad Tracy could put all those decades of nit-picking and bad blood behind them and lend aid in this horribly difficult time. Tracy says, actually, she’s just here to protect her legal claim to The Deceptor. There isn’t enough time to point out how many ways Tracy wouldn’t have a leg to stand on IRL, or that’s not how any of this works.
Carly says, the last thing she wants to do is drag Drew into a feud between Sonny and whoever, and Mr. Obvious Michael says, especially since Drew’s locked in Pentenville. She says, whoever the person is behind Austin and Mason must be a serious threat. Sonny was willing to let Avery be near Betty just to find out who it is. Michael says, Dex is on it and so is he. Dex is watching everything and reporting back to him. If Sonny needs help, he’ll make sure Sonny gets it.
Sonny says, he told Pikeman, he’s not going to move another shipment until they give him proof of who was responsible for the ambush at the warehouse and the shooting at the pool, and Brick says, be careful. Pikeman’s a heavy hitter. They obviously want to be in business with Sonny; there’s no doubt about that. But if Sonny chooses to cut them off, Pikeman could choose to go in a different direction and remove him from the equation. Find somebody, dare he say, that’s easy to do business with. It’s not like it hasn’t happened before. Sonny tells him, that’s what Valentin said, and Brick says, maybe Austin and Mason’s boss is trying to create just that kind of scenario; create discord between Sonny and Pikeman to remove Sonny from the situation, and let the competitor step in. Sonny says, first, they have to find out who his real enemy is.
Drew says, just because he couldn’t stand by and watch Cyrus get beaten to a pulp or watch him die, that doesn’t mean he likes Cyrus. Cyrus says, but he likes Drew. He knows Drew to be that rarest of things, a man of honor. And Drew will find that he, too, is honorable. He pays his debts. (What is he? A Lannister?) He owes Drew his life. He won’t forget it.
Gladys comes back into Nina’s office and says she lied. She does have a gambling problem; she was truthful about that. And she does have huge debts because of gambling, but that’s not why she needs the $50,000. She needs it because the doctor who’s treating Sasha at Ferncliff won’t let Sasha out until she pays him.
Tomorrow, Tracy says, this can all be resolved quickly and quietly; Cody tells Sam, this is the only way he can get in to see Sasha; Sasha begs Janice not to let Dr. Montague near her; and Dante says, the news isn’t good.
I don’t know if these are the best, but there’s some good ones in here. Fast Times at Ridgemont High never gets old and Promising Young Woman is amazing.

Anna thanks Dante for meeting her at the station so they could talk alone, without Valentin. She asks him to show her what he has and asks if Valentin was at ELQ the night of the fire, but Dante says, he wasn’t. He says he’ll show her everything, but wants her to promise she’ll get a bodyguard. She says she’s not going to do that. She’s not allowing him to take away the one thing she has left, her privacy.
Finn heads into a meeting, and flashes back to Gregory revealing he has ALS.
Alexis comes out of the hospital elevator when her phone rings. She tells Esme that she’s headed to a meeting. What’s wrong?
Drew waits in the visitor’s room and flashes back to Cyrus saying, Drew needs some kind of family to survive behind these walls. If Drew won’t join his flock, he strongly suggests Drew find another.
Nina thanks Martin for meeting her in some obscure place outside, and he asks why they’re here. She says she didn’t want to chance someone seeing them. He asks what he can do for her, and she asks if he’s still getting pressure from the FBI and SEC to reveal the source of the insider trading tip against Carly and Drew. He asks if she means pressure to tell them it was her.
On the phone at Kelly’s, Carly tells Katrina, it’s not her fault. It’s okay. She has an appointment, but she’ll leave when Katrina gets here. Be safe. Willow walks in, and Carly gives her a hug, saying, she’s happy to see her. She’s sorry it’s been so long. Willow says, Carly never has to apologize to her after everything she’s done for them, and Carly asks if Michael and the kids are with her. Willow says, Michael is working and Olivia agreed to watch the kids. She’s on her own. Carly asks how that feels, and Willow says, good. It’s something she wasn’t sure she’d ever be able to do again. Michael told her that Carly took over Kelly’s. Look what she’s done to this place. Carly says she just wanted to spruce it up a little, and Willow says, she sure did that. As I try to figure out just what she did, Carly says, it’s good to see Willow and asks what she can do for her. Willow says she’s there to see if there’s anything she can do to help Carly.
Dex listens outside Austin’s office door, as Austin tells Ava she has nothing to worry about. Ava says she is worried. She just needs to know exactly what’s going on. She’s got this con artist Betty who’s pretending to be a nanny spending time with her daughter. She’s already super worried about going to jail. Austin says, for killing Nikolas? He promises she’s not going to jail for killing Nikolas. Everything is under control. She asks, how exactly is everything under control?
Still on the phone, Alexis says, it’s working?… Good. All’s well. She’ll see Esme later. She heads for the meeting.
Meeting leader Dana asks, who would like to share first? and Finn raises his hand. He says he’s Hamilton and he’s an addict. He wants to thank Dana for her powerful message. The idea of navigating life’s challenges while dealing with addiction really resonates with him right now. He recently had some bad news about someone he loves very much. This person has been suffering and he had no idea. Had he known, he feels maybe he could have helped them, but he guesses he was so caught up in his own life. Alexis slips in, and Finn says, the fact he couldn’t help them because he didn’t know they needed help has left him feeling a little resentful. He has this good friend and she knew the truth, and she chose to keep it to herself.
Nina tells Martin, this is important to her. That’s why she was anxious to set up this meeting. He says he knows. He’s sorry. His brother Cyrus had a heart attack and he had to take care of some business for him, and it’s not like the situation is all that urgent. She says, maybe that’s him, but she needs to know if the SEC is going to be knocking on her door. He says he told her; it’s under control. Drew Cain took a plea deal. There will not be a trial, therefore, she won’t be pressured to testify. She can relax. She says, it’s really done? and he says, yes. There’s no reason Willow or Sonny should ever find out she turned in Drew and Carly.
Carly tells the kitchen, the ELQ order is almost ready. Let her know when the wings are done. Willow says she doesn’t want to take up Carly’s time. If she needs to work, that’s totally fine. Carly says, the lunch rush is over. She just has to wait for Katrina to get here, so she can go visit Drew. Willow says, she’s going to visit Drew? That’s great. Carly says, it will be great, now that he’s out of solitary confinement, and Willow asks why Drew was in solitary.
Dante says he feels that privacy should be the least of Anna’s concerns right now, and she says, don’t make her regret sharing information with him. He says he doesn’t want her to regret anything. He wants her to be safe. It’s his job to keep her safe. He cares about her. She says, if they wanted her dead, she’d be dead, and he asks what she thinks that shot was at the MetroCourt pool? Just a friendly message? One that put Curtis in a wheelchair? She has no idea whether they thought she was in that house or not. She says, if they were watching her, she’d be dead already. They would have gotten her on her run. He says, that’s another thing he doesn’t think she should be doing at that hour of the night on her own, and she says, for God’s sake, it had been a long day. She already told him that setting a fire is too clumsy. You can’t guarantee you will get your mark. But what you can do is destroy a person’s life. They can take everything away from her – her reputation, her memories, literally her home – because she believes someone is out to leave her with absolutely nothing.
Austin tells Ava, Betty collected some very valuable information on Sonny, and last night, she passed it on to Mason. She says, so his crazy cousin got what he wanted, and he says, yes. He’ll deliver the data and they’ll get on with their lives and find Nikolas’s body. She says she’ll believe it when she sees it, and he tells her, believe it. It’s going to happen. This whole nightmare will soon be over. His desk phone rings, and he says he knows. He’s sorry. Something important came up. He’s on his way. He tells Ava that he’s got to go. He promises he’ll let her know the minute he hears from Mason. Dex scoots around the corner, and they come out. She says if she doesn’t hear from him… but Austin says, she will, and they leave, as Dex – the least stealthy spy in the world – watches.
Austin says hi to Jake and Wyatt (who has had quite a growth spurt), and says he hasn’t seen them since last summer. What’s going on? Elizabeth says, they had a little laser flip incident, and Austin says, that’s not good. He suggests they go into an exam room and get a closer look. They leave and Dex follows. Honestly, worst spy ever.
Dr. Bronson introduces Gregory to TJ, and says, he’s doing a neurology rotation. TJ is going to be shadowing him with Gregory’s permission. Gregory says, absolutely. They’ve met before, and he’s heard great things about TJ from his son Finn. TJ says, it’s great to see him again, and Bronson says, TJ is going to stay for Gregory’s examination and consultation. Gregory says, of course (🍷). Having two good doctors in his corner… He knows he’ll be needing all the help he can get. Bronson tells TJ that it’s been six months since Gregory’s initial diagnosis. He went to the Mayo Clinic and they did extensive tests. Gregory says, unfortunately, there’s no doubt he has ALS, and he understands he’s in for the fight of his life. Bronson says, Gregory told him on the phone that he had another episode, and Gregory says he agreed to babysit for his granddaughter Violet and took a fall. Bronson says he’s sorry, and Gregory says, fortunately, she wasn’t in the room, but that look on her face when she found him… Bronson suggests they get started with the exam.
Finn says he knows in times of crisis there’s a possibility of using again, but he doesn’t think that’s going to help. He has someone who needs him. They need him now more than ever, and he just wants to focus on being there for them. It’s funny the things that come flooding back to you though. They didn’t want to burden him with their problem, but they were reaching out, wanting to spend more time together. He would have if he would have known. Alexis sits down, and Finn says he understands why his friend didn’t tell him what she knew. He wishes she would have. Then he would have had more time. Time is so important; time is everything. He just wants to spend every minute he can taking care of this person for as long as he can… He wants to thank them all for listening. They applaud.
In the bathroom, Cyrus looks in the mirror, and says, we know the importance of cleanliness, don’t we, God? Thank You for granting me another beautiful day. He dries his face.
Carly tells Willow that she doesn’t know the details of why Drew was in solitary confinement, but she’s hoping to find that out when she sees him. Willow says, please give him her love. She wouldn’t be here if he hadn’t risked his life in Greenland to get Liesl Obrecht back for the transplant. (Hey, where is Liesl these days?) Carly says, he’s such a good guy, and he’s helped so many people, and Willow says, it’s so unfair Drew is stuck in prison because someone was spiteful enough to turn them in. Is Carly still convinced Ned was the one who turned them in? Nina walks in and says hi to Willow and Carly. She says, the place looks really nice. The improvements Carly made look great. As I still ponder what those might be, Carly thanks her and sees Katrina. She says she has to go, and jets. Nina says she didn’t mean to drive Carly out, but Willow says, don’t worry. She didn’t.
Dante tells Anna that he’s sorry. He didn’t mean to come at her like that. He knows it’s not easy. She says, that’s all right. She’s lucky to have a friend like him. Everyone’s been very supportive. He says, but she lost her house. It’s awful and it’s got to hurt. She says, what hurts is Curtis in a wheelchair because of her, and he says, she has to stop blaming herself for that, but she says she doesn’t. It doesn’t compare really. She’s not hurt and she has resources. Insurance is taking care of the fire. He asks how Valentin is doing, and she says, he’s very supportive of her. Dante says, he showed up to be by her side the morning after the fire? and she nods, saying, and since. He says, Valentin lied to her about working for Pikeman, but she says, Valentin didn’t lie to her. Dante says, he was dishonest, withheld the truth. Why did he tell her then? Did it come out of nowhere? She says she was putting together the pieces and he came home, and he says, Valentin realized she knew and had no choice but to come clean. They don’t have to call it a lie if she doesn’t want to, but they both know Valentin lied to her about where he was the night of the fire. She says she wants to see this proof he has.
Anna looks at Dante’s laptop, and he says, she can see Valentin’s car never showed up that night at the ELQ garage. His car wasn’t even in the area that night. Dante checked the surrounding areas and there was no sign of it at all. Also, there was no water main break; he confirmed that as well. So Valentin was in fact lying to her. She says, all right. She’ll take that into consideration. He hopes she also takes into consideration that Valentin lied to her on that specific night. She says, just because he didn’t tell her where he was doesn’t make him the arsonist, and Dante tells her, he’s not saying Valentin was, but she can’t rule him out as a person of interest. She says, that is ridiculous, and he says, is it though? Valentin finds out everything Anna knows and has to tell her that he worked for Pikeman. Anna calls Dante and he comes to the house. Maybe Valentin sees that all happen. She says, any number of people could have seen that happen, and he says, but she told him, whoever did this wants to take everything away from her. Who has motive to leave her with nothing? She says, what? and he says, could Valentin want her totally dependent on him? She says, Valentin loves her. That, she’s certain of.
Wyatt says, told Jake it wasn’t broken, but Austin says, it’s a pretty bad sprain. Jake was right to bring him. Jake says, see? and Austin says, here’s what we’re going to do. Heat, ice, alternate, and try not to move it at all for a couple of days. Wyatt asks if there isn’t some way he could heal it faster. He’s supposed to play cello in their band concert day after tomorrow. Austin asks if that’s his bow hand, and Wyatt says, yes. Austin says, that’s not going to happen, and Jake says he’s sorry; this is all his fault. He shouldn’t have talked Wyatt into going to the skate park. He messed everything up for him. Wyatt says, Jake didn’t make him do the laser flip. He even tried to talk him out of doing it again. Jake says, it was really cool though. He’s only seen one other person do it. Wyatt says, at least he did it once, and Elizabeth says, and he’ll do it again. In the hallway, Dex steps away from the door, saying, this is it. He sends a text to Gabe: All set?
Dana says, that’s all the time they have for sharing today. Could Finn lead them in the Serenity Prayer? Finn says, yes, and everyone gets up, joining hands. Finn and Alexis exchange a look, and Finn says, God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Everyone applauds, and Dana thanks Finn. She says, good luck. See you next week? He says, see you next week, and everyone leaves. He starts putting the chairs away, and Alexis asks if she can help him. He says he’s guessing she heard his share, and she says, loud and clear.
Gregory holds his palm against TJ’s, and Bronson says he wants Gregory to put on as much pressure as he can… That’s good. They’ll run more extensive diagnostic tests next week. For now, he wants to get Gregory fitted for leg braces and hand and wrist splints. He should wear them at home. Try to wear them when he sleeps to help his extremities remain stretched and in a good position. Gregory asks if he needs a cane, and Bronson says, does he? Gregory says he doesn’t think so, and Bronson says, then it’s good for now. Aside from the episodes Gregory described, he seems to be ambulatory without it. Gregory says, when the time comes, he’d prefer a cane to a wheelchair, and Bronson says he’s sure a wheelchair won’t be necessary right now, but considering the episodes he’s had, Gregory definitely shouldn’t drive. Does he need someone to drive him home? Gregory says, no. He took a car service here. After what happened with his granddaughter, he doesn’t want to put anyone else at risk. He won’t be driving anymore.
Cyrus slathers on shaving cream, and I wonder what he’s going to shave with. Oh okay. I guess Bic’s are all right to have in prison.
Nina asks if Willow is sure Carly lighting out of here didn’t have a little something to do with her, but Willow says, no. She was late for her visit with Drew in Pentenville. Nina asks how he’s doing, and Willow says she’s sure it’s miserable, but he’s such an amazing guy, always positive. She doesn’t know how he’s doing it. Nina says she’ll always be grateful to him for helping save Willow’s life, and Willow says, so will she. She’s grateful that, even in Pentenville, Drew knows he has Carly’s love and support. He’ll make it through this. Nina says, of course (🍷) he will, and Willow says, it’s an outrage that Drew was even sent to Pentenville in the first place.
Nina tells Drew that she’s sorry she’s late. Katrina’s car broke down, and she had to cover at Kelly’s until Katrina could get there. Drew says, she’s here. That’s all that matters. He loves her. She says she loves him too.
Alexis says she knows Finn’s very angry at her for not telling him, and she doesn’t blame him. He has no idea how much she wanted to tell him. She just couldn’t because Gregory was adamant about her not doing it. Finn says he understands the position Gregory put her in. He probably wouldn’t have told Finn if he hadn’t collapsed in front of Violet. Alexis says, oh, and he says, she’s okay. He can’t believe he was so caught up in his own life, he didn’t see the signs. She says, he was very good at covering them up, and Finn says, she was very good at honoring his wishes. Too good. She says she’s sorry, and he says he knows she is. He understands. He’s is a very private and persuasive man. To see him accept this… She says, his dad is very brave, and he says he knows. His dad was so excited about this trip he wanted to take. He wanted all of them to go on this trip, and Finn put him off. He could have made it work, but he didn’t. He got so caught up in everything Violet was going through, but he could have made it work. Alexis says, doesn’t Finn understand? What Gregory wanted was for them to lead a normal life, so he could watch Finn, Violet, and Chase being productive and happy. He doesn’t want them to zero in and focus on his illness. That is not how he wants to spend the rest of the time he has left. Finn says, the time he stole from him.
Gregory comes out of the elevator as Dana goes by in her wheelchair, telling a woman, just focus on today. That’s all any of them can do.
Elizabeth tells Wyatt to give his arm a rest for a few days. It was great seeing him. Wyatt says, her too, and she goes back to work. Jake says he thought Wyatt would be more mad that he couldn’t play in his concert, but Wyatt says he’s going to play. He just won’t tell anyone he fell. Gregory comes by and says he hasn’t seen Wyatt since their camping trip last summer. It looks like he had a little accident.
Anna says she didn’t realize Dante disliked Valentin quite so much, but Dante says he’s just doing his job. She says, it’s not about his job, and he says, she’s right. It’s about more than that.It’s about Charlotte. She’s staying with them right now. Lulu’s daughter. Valentin’s her dad. They love her, she loves him. He guesses what he’s saying is that Anna isn’t the only one who thinks Valentin’s changed. She says, he has changed, and Dante asks her to put herself in his shoes right now. With the facts and logic laid out as they are, is she telling him that even for a second, she wouldn’t entertain Valentin as a suspect? She says, he wouldn’t do that, but Dante says, he would. She can’t just ignore the man’s past. He’s manipulative. Anna says, wow, and Dante says, she knows it; he’s always been that way. He’s sorry. Maybe she got close to some truth. Maybe Valentin needs her totally and completely dependent on him for some reason, but can she look at him and tell him that she thinks there’s no way he could have done something like this? She says, whatever he’s lying about, it’s not that he burned down their home, and he says, her home. Why did he lie to her? She says she thinks it has something to do with Pikeman.
Cyrus dries his now clean-shaven face, and looks at least ten years younger. I’m thinking how cool his hair looks down, when he takes a shiv out of his sock and begins to cut it. Why, Cyrus? Why? Speaking of his age, since they’ve been calling him an old guy, I looked it up and he’s going to be 70. Like I always say, there’s 70 and there’s 70. For an old guy, he’s looking fit.
Mason goes into Austin’s office, and Austin asks what he’s doing here. Mason says, stay cool. It’s almost showtime. Austin asks why he’d care, and Mason says, because he has the starring role. Austin says he doesn’t; he’s already played his part. Mason says, no. It’s time for the big finale. Austin gets to deliver the flashdrive to the big boss. Austin says, no he doesn’t. He’s got appointments lined up all afternoon. Mason says, there are other doctors, when there’s a knock at the door and TJ walks in. He says, sorry. He didn’t realize he was interrupting. Austin says, he wasn’t, and Mason says he’s not a patient. He’s Austin’s cousin. They were just catching up. He introduces himself and shakes TJ’s hand. TJ says, it’s nice to meet him, and Austin says, here’s the chart, handing TJ a folder. He’s sorry he didn’t get it to TJ earlier. TJ says, not a problem, and takes the folder from Austin. He goes to the door, and stops. He asks if he and Mason have met somewhere before.
Carly says she’s just trying to understand why Drew chose to protect Cyrus Renault, and he says, some guys were coming at Cyrus. He stepped in, they fought, he got solitary. It’s as simple as that. She says, it’s not that simple, and he asks if they can drop this, but she says, no. Drew was in Port Charles when Cyrus got out of prison, and he was threatening everyone. She just doesn’t understand why he had to intervene. Why couldn’t he just walk away?
Nina says, it seems wrong that Drew was sent to Pentenville for what he did, and Willow says, he’s been so good to them, and supportive in every way. He was supposed to walk her down the aisle when she and Michael got married. She can talk to him about anything. He would listen and give her the best advice, and he never had an agenda. Nina says, and she always does. She’s sorry. Sometimes she just pushes too hard, doesn’t she? Willow says, yes, she does. But in all fairness, Drew isn’t her father and doesn’t feel like he has anything to make up for. So her guard isn’t up when she’s around him. Nina says, like it is with her, but she would like to change that, and Willow says, Nina’s marrying Sonny. Nina’s going to be a part of her life. They’re going to be seeing a lot of each other, whether they like it or not. Nina says, that’s one way to look at it, and Willow says she doesn’t want things to be so strained between them. Nina says, her neither, and Willow says, they have to find their way to some kind of relationship. Nina agrees, and Willow says, no matter what, those things take time. Ava comes in, and Willow says she’s got to get home to Wiley. Nina says, right, and Willow says, goodbye. She leaves, and Ava says, progress? Nina says she thinks maybe so.
Drew tells Carly, the guy that came for Cyrus was way younger than him. Cyrus isn’t exactly in his prime, and Drew just doesn’t have it in him to turn a blind eye to someone like that. He’s sorry, but he guesses it’s just a character flaw. She says, it is, but it’s one of the many things she loves about him. If he was the kind of guy who could watch an old man get beat up and not do anything, and just walk away, he wouldn’t be the man she loves. He says, it was kind of crazy. Cyrus was the one person he was trying to stay as far away from as possible, and now they’re bonded for life. She asks what he means, bonded for life? All he did was stop the fight. He says, after the fight, Cyrus had a heart attack and he gave Cyrus CPR. He saved Cyrus’s life.
All Cyrus’s hair lies next to the sink, and he tosses down the shiv. He pulls on his shirt, and runs his hands through his now much shorter hair, another ten years off him. He looks in the mirror and says, You work in mysterious ways – he looks up – very mysterious ways. And he’s grateful.
Mason says he doesn’t believe he and TJ have met. Then again, people are always saying he reminds them of someone. Sometimes even VinDiesel– the lack of hair and the voice. He rubs his head and smiles. TJ says, no. He thinks they did meet before. He just can’t remember where. Mason says he really hasn’t spent that much time in Port Charles, but who knows? Austin looks grim, and TJ says, maybe he’ll figure it out. He thanks Austin for the file, and leaves. In the hallway, TJ ponders Mason, and in the office, Austin says, so Mason has met Dr. Ashford? Mason says, they may have crossed paths.
Dante says, Anna thinks Valentin is lying to her about Pikeman? She says, when Dante called her last night, when he told her that he had evidence Valentin wasn’t at ELQ the night of the fire, Valentin was in the shower. He’d just received some papers. It kind of looked like a contract, maybe a consultancy project or something. They had the Pikeman logo on them. Dante asks if she thinks he could be working for Pikeman again, but she says she doesn’t know. He says, Valentin told her that he wasn’t working for Pikeman anymore and he gets papers with the Pikeman logo on it. Could Pikeman have been behind the shooting at the MetroCourt pool? She says, they don’t know that, and he says, maybe they weren’t after her. Maybe they were after Sonny and they hired Valentin to set him up.
Alexis asks Finn to please stop being so hard on himself. His father has gotten past all of that. He says, how? He was estranged from his father for years. He looks at his daughter Violet now, and he gets to watch her grow up. And he can’t imagine, not for a moment, her not being in his life. She says, there is no value in dwelling on the past; there just isn’t. They just learned this, right here, right now. All we have is today. He says he doesn’t plan on wasting a minute of it, and she hugs him.
Alexis and Finn get out of the elevator, and both of their phones ding. Alexis says, who would have guessed they were so popular? and Finn says, back to the real world. She says she’s sorry she wasn’t able to tell him about his dad’s condition, but she’s glad he knows, and he says he’s not looking forward to helping him tell Chase. She says she hopes he tells Chase sooner than later, so Chase doesn’t resent Finn, like Finn might resent… He says he doesn’t resent her at all. He’s lucky to have her as a friend. If his dad had to tell someone about his condition other than him, he’s glad it was her. She thanks him, and he says he just wishes his dad weren’t so damn stubborn. She says, pot, kettle, and her phone rings. She tells him that she’s got to take this. It might be some kind of office crisis. It was nice while it lasted. She leaves, and he goes over to Elizabeth at the reception desk. Wyatt says, if he hadn’t tried that laser flip again, he wouldn’t have hurt his arm, and he’d be fine. Finn and Elizabeth watch Wyatt talking to Gregory, and Wyatt says he can’t let the band down. Gregory says, but the doctor told him to let his arm rest for a couple of days, so he won’t be able to practice at all, will he? Wyatt says, no, and Gregory says, if he does try to play, does he really think he’ll be able to do his best? Wyatt says, no, and Gregory says, sometimes you have to be honest with yourself about what your body can and can’t do. If he shows up and tries to play and can’t do his best, then he’d be letting everyone down. Wyatt says he never thought about it like that, and Gregory says, admitting he’s injured, even though he really wants to play, is probably the most honorable and generous thing to do in the long run. Wyatt says, Gregory is right, but he still hates it, and Gregory says he knows exactly how Wyatt feels. Wyatt thanks him, and he and Jake leave. Gregory looks at Finn and smiles.
Anna says, Valentin would never set up Sonny, and Dante says, never? She says, no… Unless he was being blackmailed. Dante says, maybe Pikeman has something on him from when he worked for them. She says, right. They could use it against him. Dante says, right, or… She says, what? and he says, she knows how much Valentin loves Charlotte. He’d do anything for his daughter. She says, what if Pikeman were threatening her? and he says, it’s a theory. It’s not going to be easy to prove. She says she just wants to prove this theory is wrong and that Valentin is clean. He says, they’d better both get digging, and she says, they need to find out what the truth is, no matter where it leads them, and she leaves.
Ava says she wanted to talk to Carly about Avery. Has Nina seen her? Nina says, she went to visit Drew. How is Ava? Ava says she’s better she thinks, and Nina says, nice to hear. One question. Are she and Sonny going to get rid of that new nanny of Avery’s? Because every time Nina sees her, she’s kind of like a… Ava says, she’s a bitch, right? Hopefully, she won’t be around too much longer. Nina says, good. One less thing to worry about with their wedding coming up and… Ava lowers her voice and says, and Drew in prison because Nina sent him there. Nina asks if she has to say that out loud. She was surprised they sent him to a place like Pentenville. Ava says, just keep hoping Sonny and Carly never find out, and Nina says, they won’t. Ava says, she seems pretty sure of herself, and Nina says she is. As long as her beautiful, intelligent friend stays quiet, the SEC is going to drop it. And no one will ever know she’s the one – she whispers – who turned in Carly and Drew.
Drew says he stayed with Cyrus until the prison doctor got there, and Carly says, so everybody in this prison knows he defended Cyrus and saved his life? He says, word travels pretty fast around here, and she says, the word is going to be, he’s Cyrus’s ally. Does that mean Cyrus’s enemies are going to target Drew? They see a guard walking through with Austin, and Carly says, what’s he doing here?
Mason paces around somewhere where there are a lot of pipes, and sees someone approach. He thanks them so much for taking the time. He really appreciates them meeting him.
The guard tells Austin, here’s his patient, and Cyrus stands up.
Tomorrow, Austin says he’s more than paid off his debt and he wants out; Gladys asks what Dr. Montague has done to her daughter-in-law; Dex has a message for someone; and Carly asks if that doesn’t put Drew in more danger.
💭 Thought: My mind goes to Cyrus being the big boss, but then some of the rest of it doesn’t make sense, like, why give away all his money? He’s also not related to Austin as far as I can figure. I suppose he could be running Pikeman, since it’s kind of like a mob organization, but again, there’s a disconnect.

This week’s RHONY. I’ve been watching this peripherally, and a high point in this episode was Jessel and husband Pavit checking out $62K preschools for their toddlers. She nearly wrote that their kids were socially inept on the application because she didn’t know what the word inept meant. Pavit wasn’t sure either, but points for the good sense to look it up. People like that shouldn’t have $62K to throw away. Once again proof that the wrong people have all the money.
While this aired on Peacock a while ago, I’m just catching it on Bravo now, even if half-heartedly. This guy was definitely a standout, as the ultimate concierge and Housewives peacemaker.
It was a Golden Retriever. What did they expect? I had one named Einstein. It was a false prophecy. He would watch a frisbee as it bounced off his head, and when a blimp came by once, he was mesmerized by it and wagged his tail like maybe his people were coming for him. He was also literally afraid of his own shadow. Nevertheless, he was much loved.

Olivia sets out towels on the chaise lounges, when Dante comes in and asks if she doesn’t have people to do that for her. She says she does, but doing it herself keeps her busy and keeps her from constantly worrying. He says, about Ned? and she says she misses him. Even when they were at the PCPD last night, it felt all kinds of wrong. Dante says, Ned didn’t want to come with them. Sonny’s got him; he’ll be fine. She says she knows and knows she can trust Sonny. She’s just got to come to terms with the fact that she lost her husband. He asks if she’s going to give up on Ned.
Ned walks in while Sonny is on the phone with Selina. Sonny says, she can’t go over there conducting business without letting him know first. Does she understand what he’s saying? Are they clear? After holding his head a moment, Ned walks to the door, and Sonny asks where he’s going. Ned says he needs some coffee, but Sonny says, they have coffee here. He’ll have Garciella make him a fresh… Ned says he needs some space, and leaves.
Carly walks into Sonny’s old kitchen with Josslyn and says she can’t believe Josslyn had her phone off. The moss bowl🎍disapproves, and Josslyn says she’s sorry. Carly says, what if there had been an emergency? What if Michael and Willow needed her? What if Donna needed her? What if the moss bowl🎍needed her? Josslyn says she knows. She woke up this morning to all of Carly’s texts and voicemails and freaked out. She can’t stop thinking about how she left Carly at the PCPD overnight. Carly says she’s the one who got in a bar fight, and Josslyn asks if Carly wants to tell her about that. What was she doing at the Highsider?
Dex tells Sonny that Betty’s on her way up, and Sonny says he wants Dex to listen and stay out of sight. Outside, Betty tells the guard that she’s here to see Sonny, and he knocks on the door. Sonny opens it, and tells Betty to come in. He says he appreciates her coming by before she went to Windymere to pick up Avery. She says, it’s her pleasure, as Dex listens in. Whatever she can do to make Sonny and Ava’s life easier. Sonny says he appreciates that, and she says she hopes everything is all right with Avery and her. Sonny says, Avery is great. So far, so good. She seems to be getting along with Betty. Betty says she’s so happy to hear that. Avery’s adorable and they’ve been having fun. Sonny says, good, because there’s been a change in plans.
The firemen are combing Anna’s house, when Valentin walks in. He tells her that the fire department and the police are wrapping things up. He passed along her appreciation for doing what they could to save her townhouse. She sits on the stairs looking at a framed photo, and he says he thinks they should go. She says she knows; there’s nothing left here. She runs her hands over the photo, and we see it’s Robin and Emma. She says, there’s nothing left of her life.
Betty asks, what’s changed? and Sonny says, she’s taking Avery to camp today, right? She says, that was her plan. She’s picking up Avery from Windymere this morning, then take her to day camp. He asks when camp is finished, and she says, three. Then she’ll bring Avery back here, if that’s okay with him. He asks if she’s going to stay with Avery until it’s finished, and she says she was planning to, unless he or Ava need her to do something for them. He tells her to stay with Avery. He has a business meeting he can’t miss and won’t be back until after five. So stay with Avery until he gets back. Can she do that for him? She says, of course (🍷). She looks forward to the time she gets to spend with Avery. She’s such a sweetheart. Dex continues to listen, and Sonny says, she’s clear on what Ava needs her to do, right? It was funny. He was worried to change nannies because Avery’s so attached to Pilar, but Betty seems so sweet, and Avery seems to be taken with her. She says she knows how hard change can be for a child, so she’s glad to hear Avery is adjusting so well. Sonny says he’ll see her around five, and she leaves. Dex comes back out.
Austin goes into his office, and Mason is behind the door. He says, hey, cuz, and Austin says, why is he always here? Mason says, good morning to him too, closing the door, and Austin says he doesn’t want Mason here. What does he want this time? Mason says, one of the reasons the boss paid for Austin to go to medical school was so he’d be available to them, and right now, he’s in need. Austin says, no, he’s not. He patched Mason up last night. It wasn’t a serious injury. There was no need for him to come back. Mason says, tell that to his headache. He just needs something for the pain, and he’s still seeing double from when that blonde conked him last night.
Carly says, it all started when she went to the MetroCourt last night to see Olivia, and Josslyn says, how was that? She knows they’ve been having a hard time. Carly says, it was weird. Olivia is in her old office. Josslyn says, that’s tough. She’s sorry. At least Nina didn’t take advantage of that opportunity to steal that again. Carly tells her that Olivia said she’d never let that happen… She misses the MetroCourt. She misses her staff. She misses the day to day problems and all the excitement that comes with it. She misses the guests. It made her more determined than ever to get her hotel back, and she will. Josslyn says she has no doubt, and Carly says, she and Olivia were hanging out and reminiscing about the day they met. Olivia is going through so much with Ned, and she’s worried about Drew. They needed a distraction, so they went to the Highsider. Josslyn asks if she found her distraction before the cops showed up, and Carly says, things got really crazy really quickly, but it wasn’t their fault.
Olivia tells Dante, of course (🍷) she hasn’t given up on Ned. How could she? He’s Leo’s father. He says, she can’t just do this for Leo, and she says she’s doing it for their family. For Leo’s sake as much as hers, she has to figure out who Eddie is. She doesn’t know what’s going on in that head of his. He may never go back to being Ned. Dante says, wow. Does she think she can accept that? She says she doesn’t know. It kind of freaks her out. She looks at him and expects to see Ned, and all she sees is Eddie. He’s all Eddie now. Ned has completely disappeared and she has to figure out a way of living with that, so that he’s not fighting against her and she’s not trying to completely control him. Dante’s phone rings, and he tells her, it’s the station, sorry, but she tells him not to apologize. Take it. He steps away and asks, what’s up?…What happened?… He’s on his way. He tells Olivia, there was a fire in Anna’s townhome last night, and she asks if everyone is okay. He says he doesn’t know. He’ll let her know. He hugs her, and she thanks him for rescuing her last night. He tells her, good luck with Eddie, and leaves.
Valentin says he shouldn’t have gone to ELQ last night, and sits next to Anna. She says, he can’t blame himself for this, but he says he should have been here with her. She says, he didn’t know this was going to happen. He has a business to run. He can’t babysit her all the time. He says, this could have ended very badly. She could have been upstairs sleeping in bed. She says she wasn’t. She went for a run, thank God. He says, they got lucky, but she says she doesn’t know. He asks what that means, and she says she doesn’t know if the arsonist was outside, waiting for her to leave or they assumed she was asleep upstairs. He says, let’s hope for the former. He doesn’t much like the sound of the second one. This whole thing started when his father outed her past as a double agent, and he got what he wanted. Someone has made her a target of their revenge.
Sonny says that he wants all eyes on Betty, especially when she’s with Avery, and Dex says, absolutely. He hands Sonny a small envelope, and Sonny asks if it’s from Brick. Dex says, yes. It arrived this morning. Sonny takes out a flashdrive, and Dex asks what it is. Sonny says, a special present, for Betty. There’s a lot of information on this flashdrive, fabricated by Brick, none of it accurate, and Betty is going to find it. Dex asks how they make sure she gets her hands on it, and Sonny says, Betty is going to be here with Avery for a few hours, and she’s not going to resist searching the place. And she’s going to be pleasantly surprised at what she finds on Sonny’s computer – false Pikeman data. Dex says, then what? and Sonny says, she’s going to bring it to Mason and Austin, and they’re going to bring it to whoever they work for.
Carly tells Josslyn, when they got the Highsider, Ned was there, and she wanted to find out for herself if he’d lost his memory and really thought he was Eddie. Josslyn asks if he remembered turning her into the SEC, and Carly says, no, but Olivia gave her some alone time with him. That’s when some guy came up to Olivia and wouldn’t take no for an answer and kept grabbing her. Josslyn says, ew! And that’s when Carly stepped in? Carly says, no. Ned jumped in before she could, and that’s when the fight started. Josslyn says she doesn’t understand. Why were Carly, Ned, and Olivia arrested, when someone else started it? Carly says she doesn’t know. When the cops showed up, the guy must have snuck out the back. Olivia was really upset about that, and got a little aggressive with one of the cops, and that’s when they got arrested. Josslyn says, never a dull moment. She’s so sorry for leaving Carly there all night. She feels so bad. Carly tells her not to worry about it. Honestly, she could have left earlier if she’d let Sonny sign her out. Josslyn asks why she didn’t. She thought Carly was all let’s forgive and forget when it comes to Sonny. So much so, she has Dex watching him and reporting back to Michael. She doesn’t understand. If Carly cares about him, why wouldn’t she let him help her?
Anna tells Valentin that Victor put a target on her back. He’s probably smiling up at all the hell he sent her. Valentin says, even from beyond the grave, he won’t stop inflicting pain, and Anna says, in the beginning, she thought his motive was to get her kicked out of the WSB, but she thinks it was a lot bigger than that. She hurt a lot of people. He says, she paid for that, but she says she doesn’t know. People suffered because of what she did. He can’t deny that. People died, and who did they leave behind? Children, lovers… How did it affect them? One life touches a lot of people, and someone out there wants her to pay for what she did. Obviously, she doesn’t blame them for wanting that. He tells her, stop. Don’t say that. She doesn’t deserve any of this. Whoever is after her, whatever they think they’ve lost, it does not justify revenge. She says, since when?
While distributing menu cards, Olivia finds Ned in the pool area, and says she’s surprised to see him here this morning. Same outfit he had on at the bar last night, huh? He says he doesn’t have too many changes of clothes over at Sonny’s, but he’s glad she’s here. She asks, why? What’s going on? He says he wanted to see her, but didn’t want to run the risk of going to the house and bumping into Tracy. She says, Tracy can be a lot to take first thing in the morning, and he says he can only imagine. So how is she doing after last night? She says she’s doing okay, but she wouldn’t have been if he hadn’t stepped in and defended her from that creep, so she thanks him for that. He says, don’t mention it, and she asks how he is. He says he’s okay, and she says, the guy landed a few good punches on Ned; he hit Ned pretty hard. Ned says he’s definitely feeling it this morning, and she suggests getting him some ice, but he says he’s fine. He’s just glad she’s okay. She says she’s glad he’s okay too, and he says he should get going. She says, Eddie… wait.
Carly tells Josslyn, watching out for Sonny, and making sure his businesses are stable, is very different from accepting help from him. Josslyn asks, why is it different? She doesn’t understand. Carly says, they’ve talked about this. Sonny has got to stay strong. If he loses power, they’re no longer safe. Josslyn says, they’re not married anymore, so why would that affect her? and Carly says she agrees. In a normal situation, it shouldn’t affect her, but she already told Josslyn, because of who Sonny is, they’re all affected. If Sonny is weak, then his kids and everyone around him are targets. That includes Donna, Avery, Michael, Josslyn, Dante, her… especially her. (Um… and Kristina?) Josslyn says she just doesn’t like that Carly has to protect him, and Carly says she gets that, but Josslyn needs to understand, this is the way things are, and she and Sonny will always be connected. Josslyn says, so that’s why she wants Dex and Michael working together to protect him, and Carly says, yes, exactly. Josslyn asks if that’s the only reason.
Sonny tells Dex, Ava got herself in a complicated situation. She’s being blackmailed by Austin’s cousin Mason. He doesn’t want to bore Dex with the details. Dex says he understands, but does Sonny think Austin is in on the blackmailing? Sonny says, Ava doesn’t think so, but he’s not 100% sure Austin is innocent in all this. So he had Brick run intel on Austin, Mason, and Betty. They’re from Pautuck. Mason and Austin are cousins; Betty used to work for Mason’s family’s trucking company. They sold out a few years ago. It’s unknown who bought it out, but it was purchased through a shell company; no criminal record. Dex says, so Mason blackmailed Ava into hiring Betty as Avery’s new nanny, giving her access to Sonny and the penthouse, and Sonny says, yeah. Here’s the thing. Betty doesn’t know Ava came clean with him, and Ava thinks Mason and Austin are working for somebody else. Dex says, any idea who? and Sonny says, somebody who wants information on his Pikeman deal.
Mason asks if Austin is going to give him something for this headache, when Betty slips into the office. Austin says, this is not a clubhouse. He’s actually a doctor and actually has patients to see. So they’re going to have to have their little treehouse meeting some other place. Betty says she has business to discuss with both of them, and Mason says, Austin might be the fancy doctor with a medical degree and all, but he’s just an employee like the rest of them and does as the boss tells him. Speaking of which, does Betty have good news for them? She says, better than good. She’s taking Sonny’s daughter to day camp this morning, then back to his penthouse. Sonny will be away at a business meeting. That should give her two hours to get some information on Pikeman. Mason says, didn’t he tell Austin that it was worth it to get Betty in there?
Anna says, Valentin understands this though. He wanted revenge on her for years. He says, but then he realized it was her sister Alex all along, and she says, but revenge feels like the answer – that’s her point – but it’s not. It feels like it’s going to take away the pain, but sometimes it really just magnifies the whole thing. He says, it certainly did with him, and she says, someone out there is hurting, maybe because of the decisions she made. And putting a target on her back, burning her house down, makes it feel righteous because of the things she did in her past. Dante arrives and tells Anna that he’s so sorry. She thanks him, and he says he’s glad she’s not hurt. He says hello to Valentin, and tells Anna that he knows his timing can’t be worse, but if she’s feeling up to it, he could use a statement. She says, protocol, she gets it, and he says he’ll give her a lift to the station. She says, that’d be great, and Valentin says he’ll go with her, but she says she can handle this on her own. He asks, why? and she says she’ll see him later, leaving with Dante.
Sonny says, Brick filled the flashdrive with all kinds of false information, and Dex asks if it will be convincing enough. Sonny says, Brick is the best at what he does. Mason and Betty are going to think it’s the real deal and deliver it to their boss. Dex asks how feeding them false information helps Sonny, and Sonny says, Brick installed sophisticated tracking software. So whoever has access to this flashdrive is going to allow Brick entry into their records and their network. Once he finds out who these Pautuck yahoos are reporting to, he’s going to take care of them and their boss. Dex says, so they have to make sure Betty finds that flashdrive, and Sonny says he has to make sure she doesn’t know he’s leading her to it. Dex asks, what’s the plan? and Sonny says he’s going to take Donna over to Carly’s, and since there’s not going to be anybody here when Betty brings Avery from camp, Dex is going to handle what happens next.
Austin says, this is so great. Betty having access to Sonny’s penthouse, she’ll have hours there by herself, and can gather up all the information she can find and pass it on to the boss. Then his favorite part, the two of them gone and out of his and Ava’s life for good. He walks to the door, and Mason says, for a person who went to medical school and became a doctor, Austin is pretty dumb. Why on earth would he ever let Austin go when he still has use for him? Austin wonders how he knew Mason was going to say that, and Mason says, because Austin delivered the grand prize – Ava and her little kid. That gave the boss major leverage on Sonny. Austin says, the last thing he wanted was Ava involved in this, and definitely didn’t want her child involved, but Betty says, too late for that. Mason says he knows Austin. Play the hero for Ava all he wants, but in the end, he’s still about himself.
Carly tells Josslyn that she knows her stance on Sonny is confusing and hypocritical, but their lives are intertwined, and that’s a fact. Josslyn says she understands, and Carly says, and they share a child, one they love and adore. And all their other kids. There’s Josslyn and Michael and Dante and Kristina (oh, she remembered). And Morgan. The loss of a child, they’ll be bonded over that forever. There’s so much that she and Sonny share. Josslyn says she knows that. That still doesn’t mean it’s not impossible for Carly. Carly laughs, and says, yeah, it’s hard. It’s hard, but they’re moving forward in their relationship. Sonny’s going to marry Nina; she’s with Drew. She’s just focusing on the future. It’s all she can do. Josslyn says she just doesn’t know how Carly is doing that with him, and Carly says, because she has to. She doesn’t have a choice. This is where they are. And being in a never-ending war with Sonny is not productive and it’s not healthy. Josslyn says she doesn’t think this is healthy for Carly. She doesn’t think Sonny is healthy for any of them. Carly says she knows everything that has happened and everything they’ve been through, but at the end of the day, Sonny is still family and they can’t forget that.
Ned asks Olivia if this is another pitch to get him into therapy or to bond with the Quartermaines. Because if it is, she can save her breath. She says, on the contrary; it’s the opposite of that. She knows it took her a little while to get her head around this, but she realizes it now. He’s not Ned anymore; he’s Eddie. He says he’s surprised to hear her say that, and she tells him, as much as she’d like to wrestle him to the ground and force him back to being Ned, she can’t do that. He’s not Ned anymore. He says, no, he’s not, and she says, he’s changed, and he’s got to be true to how he feels and who he is now. And he’s not hurting anybody by living as Eddie, so… He says he’s hurting her and he’s sorry. And he’s sorry for hurting Leo, and Brook, and even Tracy. But if he’s being honest with himself, he has to live as him, Eddie, because that’s all he knows how to be. She says, and she’s got to respect that.
At the station, Dante tells Anna, according to the fire chief’s report, the physical evidence found at her house indicates it was arson. Some kind of flammable liquid was ignited. She was at the house when it happened? She shakes her head and says, she’d gone for this short run; she needed to clear her head. He says she didn’t see anything or anyone suspicious, right? and she says, no. He says he was at her house around 10:30 last night, and she told him that Valentin went to ELQ. She says, there was a water main break, and it was threatening the mainframe computer, and he asks what time Valentin came back. She says, Valentin didn’t come back to her house last night, and he asks if Valentin spent the night at ELQ, but she says she doesn’t know. She didn’t see him until this morning. Dante asks what time he went over to ELQ, but she says she’s not sure. Obviously, it was before Dante turned up. What is he getting at? He says he’s just covering all the bases. She knows how this works. She says she does, and he says he’s just got to make a quick call. He’ll be right back. In the hallway, he makes a call and asks if they can pull the security footage from the ELQ parking garage for last night. He’s trying to find out when Valentin Cassadine’s car entered the parking lot, and if it ever left… And report this back to him only please. He goes back in and tells Anna, let’s find out who had motive for that fire.
Carly thanks Sonny for bringing Donna to the house, so she didn’t have to go all the way to his place. He says he’ll take any time he can with Donna and the moss bowl🎍. Carly has raised a smart and independent young lady. She says, they both have, and Donna couldn’t stop telling her about how much fun Sonny’s sleepover was last night. He says, they had a great time. What about her? The moss bowl🎍 laughs, and he asks if she enjoyed her time in jail. She says, no, she didn’t. He says, then why didn’t she let him sign her out? Was it her pride?
Eddie/Ned thanks Olivia for respecting him. He gets that this is really hard on her. She says, it hasn’t been easy, that’s for sure, and he says he wants to apologize for disappearing on her yesterday. She was being really nice and supportive, and listening to him play his music. And when she went to get him something to drink, he snuck off. He’s sorry for not letting her know he was leaving. She thanks him for saying that, and says she knows it hasn’t been easy on him either. She was afraid she was smothering him or hovering… He says, no. It had nothing to do with her. He was actually freaking out, thinking about what Tracy had said about having him committed. She asks if he didn’t believe her when she said she’d never let that happen, and he says he was just afraid Tracy might have changed her mind. She’s a force of nature.
Dante says, when he was at Anna’s house, they were talking about who would want her dead, and if there’s any connection between Pikeman and the sudden power shift at the WSB. She says, something about this fire feels different to her. She doesn’t think the WSB or Pikeman had anything to do with it. Starting a fire is too sloppy for the Bureau. Like, if an agent wanted to kill her, they had ample opportunity to do it. When she went for her run, a sniper could have easily taken her out. He says, like they tried to at the MetroCourt pool, and she says, or she could have been hit by a car. He knows as well as she does that there are people at the Bureau who would take the fall for that; make it look like an accident. Those are their tactics. They both know that’s how they would have got it done. If she was a priority, she’d be dead by now. They’re not going to start a fire in an empty house. He asks if she’s ready to take the WSB off the table as a suspect, but she says she doesn’t know. But to her, in her gut, this feels like revenge, plain and simple.
Anna tells Dante, once The Sun got ahold of the story that she was a traitor at one point, they made it public knowledge. And it’s true. Some people suffered for decisions she made. She thinks there’s someone out there who she hurt, and they want payback. Dante says he thinks she’s been carrying this guilt around for a long time, and maybe it’s messing with her head a little bit, clouding her thoughts. She says, there’s a lot of processing going on, but her thoughts are clear, and he says, okay. Maybe she has to see someone within the WSB trying to get rid of her. She says she told him, starting a fire is too sloppy for the Bureau, but he says, it’s deliberately sloppy, right? If someone in the WSB wanted to make it look like they wanted to get rid of her, they wouldn’t follow procedure. They would cover their tracks. And what better way than setting her house on fire to get revenge, to send a message? She says, it could be anyone within that community, and he says, that’s what makes this so dangerous. But she knows better than anyone about intelligence and espionage. You build something up, make it look like something else. She says she used that strategy in a few black ops missions, and he says, him too. Create an illusion. Make something look spontaneous when it’s really taken tons of planning and logistics to pull it off. She looks far away, and he says, what? She says, logistics, and he says, it goes hand-in-hand with trying to keep your enemy off your trail, right? She gets up and says she’s told him everything about the fire. She’s kind of tired and right now she’s homeless. She’s got to get over to the MetroCourt and book a room. He says, let him call his mom; she can get Anna a room. She says, that’s okay. She appreciates it, but she’s got some things to take care of first. He thanks her for coming in, and says he’s really sorry for the things that have been happening to her. She says she knows, and thanks him. She leaves, and his phone rings. He asks what they’ve got… Valentin’s car never made to the ELQ parking garage? Are they sure about that?
Ned tells Olivia, admit it. She thinks Tracy’s right. He’s crazy and belongs in a looney bin. She says she never thinks Tracy’s right, so let’s get that straight, but he did clonk his head pretty hard when he fell at the pool. So maybe her kneejerk reaction was to think maybe he knocked something loose, but that’s not what she thinks anymore. He thanks her for the reassurance, because he’s not that CEO business guy she says he was, and he’s never going to be. She says she sees that now. She knows it’s taken her some time to get her head around that, but she accepts he’s someone else now. He says he’s Eddie Maine, and she says she knows. And even if she thought that one good jolt of electroshock therapy would bring her husband back to her, she could never do that to him. He thanks her, and she says, and another thing. She would never have him committed for being someone new. She gave him her word on that and her word is gold. He says, is that so? and she says, yeah. She’s a Bensonhurst girl. She always keeps her word. She walks off with the tray of menu cards, and he looks bemused.
Carly says, this isn’t about pride, and Sonny tells her, all he’s saying is that she didn’t have to stay at the PCPD. He was willing to sign her out. She says she can’t let him be her safety net anymore, but he says, they’re always going to be there for each other. She says she gets that. And throughout the years, no matter where they were with each other, he was always there to bail her out. That means more to her than he’ll ever know, but she can’t let him do it anymore. He says he didn’t go there to get her; he was there to sign Ned out. She says she got herself in the situation, and he says, because she was protecting Olivia. She says, it doesn’t matter. She’s the one who has to get herself out. He says, if she needs him, he’s there… He gets it. She’s independent. She says she’s always been independent. She just got to the point where she was depending on him for everything, and she has to take care of herself now. He says, all right. She doesn’t need his help. She says she’s glad they cleared that up, and he says, because at the moment, he’s got a lot going on. He leaves, and she sighs.
Austin says, Mason caught him. He’s all about himself. Who isn’t? He really wants a life for himself. He wants a life where he’s not constantly looking over his shoulder. He wants a life where Mason is never in his office, ever again. Mason says, sadly, it doesn’t work like that, and Betty says, as entertaining as this is, she’d better head to Windymere. She’s got to pick up little Avery and not be late. Ava can be fire when she wants to. Mason tells her, go. Please bring them something on Pikeman from Sonny for the boss. She says she doesn’t plan on leaving there empty handed, and Mason says, that’s his girl. She leaves, and Austin says, one down and one to go. Mason says, they’re not finished, and Austin asks why the boss wants info on Sonny and Pikeman anyway. Mason says, honestly, he has no idea. But Austin knows him; he’s not one to explain himself to anyone. But he wants it, and he’s going to get it. Well, we know the boss is a dude now. I could have sworn they alluded to it being a woman early on.
Dex follows Betty out of the hospital at a discreet distance.
Tomorrow, Curtis tells Portia, it’s too much, he can’t do it; Brook tells Nina that she has a right to be concerned; and Sonny tells Ava, it’s what you call cutting the snake off at the head.

Captain Lee! Kate! Kate’s baby! Kate’s attention starved dog! Guest cameos! Talking smack about reality shows! The only thing better than watching TV is watching other people watch TV, and it’s all here with my two favorite Deckies. I’m already hooked.
True story. One time when we were at the Westchester County Fair, there was a bear act. They had a baby bear with them, and apparently, no one was keeping an eye on him. I looked over, and baby bear was making a break for the fence, beyond which was oncoming highway traffic. I jumped out of my seat and got to the fence before baby bear was too high for me to stop. He wouldn’t let go, but I was able to hold him there until the professionals got him. They let me pet him. He was bristly, but very cute.
Stop in tomorrow for soap and nighttime tea. Until then, stay safe, stay not dressing to draw attention away from the wedding party if you’re a wedding guest, and stay not seeking the answer in revenge. It might feel like it’s going to take away the pain, but sometimes it really just magnifies the whole thing.

Scout comes out of the pool and thanks Sam for bringing her to her swim lesson. She says she misses daddy, and Sam says she does too. Scout says, they can miss him together, when Gladys comes in and says, that breaks her heart. Sam says she bets it does.
Cody walks into the nail salon, where Diane is relaxing, and says, her assistant told him where to find her. Diane says, that’s the last personal information her assistant is giving out, and Cody asks if she isn’t Sasha’s lawyer. She says, this isn’t the time or the place… and he says he’s here to let her know that he won’t be pressing charges and he won’t be cooperating with the PCPD if they decide to go after Sasha.
A woman tells Sasha good morning and says she hopes Sasha slept better last night. Sasha says she can’t remember the woman’s name, and the woman says she’s Mandy. How is Sasha feeling this morning? Sasha says, confused, a little scared to be here, and Mandy says, that’s not unusual. Sasha says she feels like she’s missing something important, like she’s lost a chunk of time, and Mandy suggests she get Sasha some water and maybe some breakfast. I wonder once again why Sasha has a room that has what looks like a refrigerated case from a deli in it, and Sasha says she thinks what would help is if she could talk to her guardian, her mother-in-law. Mandy says she’ll see what she can do, Sasha thanks her, and she leaves.
On the phone at the MetroCourt, Nina says she’s calling about their venue for her wedding. Sonny hands her a pen, and Brick gets Sonny’s attention. Nina says, no. They haven’t actually picked out a date, but they were thinking Valentine’s Day. Sonny meets Brick in a private area and thanks Brick for meeting him. Brick says, always. It’s good to see him. Sonny asks if Brick has anything good for him, and Brick says he always has something. They’ll see how good it is.
Nina thanks them and says she’ll be in touch, when Olivia goes behind the bar. Nina says, planning this wedding is going to drive her crazy, and Olivia says, really? Nina says she’s so sorry. She knows Olivia is dealing with so much more with Ned. She’s sure he’s going to come out of this. Olivia says, he’s not out of it now. Her husband is running around all over town, out all night, and she has no idea where he is or what he’s doing. Nina says, but when things like this happen… Olivia says, things like this? Like when her husband thinks he’s Eddie Maine? Nina says, Ned loves her, and Olivia says, Sonny loved Carly, and now he’s marrying Nina.
Gladys says she remembers Scout. She was shopping for dresses at Logan’s. Scout says, Gladys is the lady in the coat she didn’t want her to touch it, and Gladys says, kid, it was couture. Sam suggests she take a picture of Scout by the pool to show her daddy, and Gladys says, it must be hard. How’s she doing with her daddy in the slammer? Sam suggests Scout grab a chair and snack, and she’ll meet her at the chair in a minute. Gladys gets a call from Ferncliff State Facility, but she ignores in, putting her phone back in her bag.
There’s a knock at Laura’s apartment, and after hesitating a moment, Spencer opens the door to Valentin. Valentin asks if he can come in, and Spencer asks why he’s alone. Where’s his grandmother and Doc? Valentin says, they’re still looking for Spencer’s father. Esme stands in the doorway with Ace.
Anna goes into Robert’s office, and asks where he stands with WSB. He says, top o’ the mornin’ to her too, and she says, good morning. Where does he stand with the WSB? He says, since he became DA, he’s had very little contact with them. Anyone who was there during his years has either been fired, put out to pasture, or transferred. She asks if he doesn’t think it’s suspicious, and he says he thinks anything to do with Bureau is suspicious, particularly arresting her for treason. She says, that’s over now, and he says, is it?
Olivia says she didn’t mean for it to come out like that, but it must have occurred to Nina that her situation with Sonny thinking he was Mike might cross Olivia’s mind, given her current situation with Ned. Nina says, and Olivia still resents the fact she didn’t tell anyone, but Olivia says, that’s in the past, but the whole situation with Ned is shoving it back into her face. Nina says, it’s a little different with Ned. He’s here in Port Charles with his family. Olivia says, but he doesn’t realize they’re his family. She honestly thought that this was going to be over quickly; that she’d stick around and talk to him and be with him. But the look in Ned’s eyes… It’s like he’s not even there. Nina tells her, just keep trying. She’ll get through to him. Olivia says she thought she’d gotten through to him. He asked her to make him breakfast, and he actually asked her to tell him a little bit about her past, so she did. Nina says, sounds like progress, but Olivia says, it wasn’t Ned; it was Eddie. Ned already knows all of the things she told him. Eddie… Nina says, just take one step at a time, and Olivia says, he was out again all night last night. She didn’t even bother to check to see if he came home in the morning. For all she knows, he’s out there falling in love with some other woman, just like Sonny fell in love with Nina.
Brick says, they’ll start with the little fish, and puts a photo on the table. He says he’s sure Sonny recognizes them, and Sonny says, Ava’s favorite nanny, Betty Rutherford. Brick says, 26, no criminal record. She actually worked as a nanny briefly. Sonny says he’s not surprised about briefly, and Brick says, she also worked as a receptionist for a trucking company. Would Sonny like to venture a guess as to where it was? Sonny says, Pautuck, and Brick says, bingo.
Sam grabs Glady’s arm, and hustles her over to the side, asking, what is wrong with her? Gladys says, her dad is in prison. She’s got to learn the world is not always a safe place. Sam says she’ll decide what her daughter needs to learn and when, and if Gladys says one more word to Scout, she’ll throw Gladys’s ass in that pool so fast, she won’t even know what happened. Gladys says, okay. Maybe she got carried away. Maybe being here is bringing back the horrible memory of Sasha stabbing Cody. The look in her eyes… She wanted to kill him. Sam says she doesn’t believe it for a minute. What really happened that day? Gladys says, after she stabbed him? but Sam says, no, before. Who drove her to do something like that?
Sasha asks if Mandy got in touch with Gladys, and Mandy says she called the number Sasha’s mother-in-law left on her admission form, but unfortunately, she got voicemail. Sasha asks if she left a message, and Mandy says she did. She told Gladys that Sasha is asking for her. Sasha thanks her, when Dr. Montague comes to the door. Mandy asks if there’s anyone else Sasha would like her to call, and Sasha says, yes. Cody Bell.
Cody asks if Diane heard anything he just said, and she says, loud and clear. He says, Sasha shouldn’t be in Ferncliff, and he won’t do or say anything to keep her there, and Diane says, at the risk of sacrificing the one hour she has to herself today, she’ll engage, but he’d better settle. He says he’s sorry for barging in. Please don’t fire her assistant. Sasha needs help as soon as possible. Diane asks if he doesn’t think she’s going to get that help in Ferncliff, and he says, something is wrong with everything that’s going on with her. The look in her eyes when she… Diane says, allegedly stabbed him, and he says, yes. That wasn’t Sasha; at least not the Sasha he knows. Something else is going on, and he’s really worried about her safety. She asks what he means. He has to give her something specific. He says, and he will, as soon as she gets him into Ferncliff to see Sasha.
Spencer ask how things went in Chechnya, and as Esme listens, Valentin says, they found the Cassadine house. There was a new owner, and no sign of Nikolas anywhere. Spencer says, and Valentin just left them there? but Valentin says, no. They left Chechnya for Prague, and that’s when Doc and Laura decided they wanted to continue the search on their own. Spencer asks, where? and Valentin says, Cassadine Island, but there was no trace of Nikolas there either. Esme comes out and says, maybe they can’t find him because he’s dead.
Anna says, they can’t talk to Frisco because he left the Bureau, and Robert says, and the person who’s replaced him thinks the way to clean up the Bureau image is to fire everyone. She says, by disgracing, then distancing themselves from so many former agents, and he says, tis the way of bureaucracy, my dear. She says, by erasing the past. Just convince everyone it was all bad, and it makes the new regime seem so much better. At least that was the impression she got when she was in London after the whole Greenland fiasco. He says, the late, not lamented Victor, and she says, it was just so weird. Like the entire process was orchestrated in a manner she just didn’t recognize. It all felt so alien to her, and she’s been debriefed more times than she can count. He says, this is the only reason she came charging in here? but she says, no, it’s not. There’s another reason. What does he know about Pikeman?
Valentin says, good morning to Esme and Ace, and remarks that Ace is getting bigger. She asks if he thinks Ace’s father could be dead, but he says he’s seen no evidence Nikolas is dead. Spencer says, there’s no indication he’s alive either, and Valentin says, that is true also. Spencer says, he’s just hiding the way he did when he had them convinced Valentin had killed him. He spent three years grieving that man. Esme says, they don’t know… and Spencer asks if she didn’t just say this is what he does. He makes a mess of his life, then he runs away from it. He certainly made a mess this time, getting his son’s girlfriend pregnant. Valentin asks if Spencer thinks he’d abandon Ace, and Spencer says, Nikolas abandoned him. That’s who their father is; he’s a coward. His grandmother’s off searching for him. She’d be better off coming home, not wasting time. Nikolas is better off gone from him and his brother.
Montague says, in the future, would Mandy please consult him before making calls for Miss Gilmore? and Mandy says, of course (🍷). He says, hello to Sasha, and Mandy says she thought she could help Sasha get more comfortable by removing her restraints. To my surprise, he says he thinks that’s a good idea, and they remove the straps from her wrists. Sasha thanks them, and he asks if that’s better. She says it is, and thanks Mandy, who says she’ll be back later. Sasha says she hopes Mandy’s not in trouble for calling her mother-in-law, and Montague says, of course (🍷) not, but he’s curious. Why did she ask to speak to Cody Bell? She says, Cody is her friend. He’s helped her before. He says, under the circumstances, she didn’t think that would be awkward? and she says, because she’s in this place? He says, because she tried to kill him.
Diane says she appreciates Cody’s desire to help Sasha, but even if she thought this was a good idea, she has no power to authorize a visit to Ferncliff; only her guardian can do that. He says he’ll find another way, because Gladys wouldn’t lift a finger for him, and he wouldn’t trust her if she did.
Gladys says, how dare Sam accuse her of doing something to hurt her daughter-in-law, but Sam says, whoa. She didn’t accuse Gladys of anything. Unless of course (🍷) Gladys thinks there’s a reason she should. Glady’s says, of course (🍷) not, but after Sam grilled her about her relationship with Selina Wu, it was crystal clear Sam is out to get her. Sam says, what’s clear to her, and Sasha’s friends, is she was perfectly fine, and handled a very difficult situation at Home & Heart without a problem. What doesn’t make sense is what happened after. Gladys says, maybe it would make more sense if Sam paid attention to her friend Sasha and less to snooping around about her.
Brick lays down another photo, and tells Sonny, Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt, 48, no criminal record; graduate of New York State University, Buffalo, and Great northern Medical School. He came to Port Charles soon after delivering Maxie Jones’s baby. Out in the woods no less. They had a brief relationship. He’s currently dating who? Sonny says, Ava, and Brick says, the latest of the Quartermaines on his father’s side. Sonny says, Edward’s bastard son Jimmy Lee Holt was his father, and Brick says, they can move on to this guy. He puts another photo in front of Sonny, and Sonny says he met him, then he got whacked.
Nina and Olivia sit down with coffee, and Nina says, from what she knows of Eddie, he doesn’t seem like the type who would go out and fall in love with someone. Olivia says, maybe he’ll cut a swathe of one-night stands through Port Charles. Don’t think that hasn’t crossed her mind. Nina says, if she and Sonny are causing Olivia to overthink things, they can keep a low profile, but Olivia says, this is her problem, not Nina’s problem. She has to deal with it, and she will. Leo actually likes Eddie. Then he asks her where his father is, and she doesn’t know what to tell him… and it breaks her heart. Nina says, maybe Olivia should go home. She can take care of things here. Olivia says, Brook is taking Leo to class and taking him to the stables. Tracy can drive someone else crazy today. She came here so she can get her mind off all things Quartermaine and Eddie Maine, and she thinks she’s found the perfect thing to focus on to get her mind off of it. Nina says, the books? but Olivia says she’s going to plan Nina’s wedding.
Sam asks why Gladys is so paranoid. She thinks if she did some real snooping, she’d find some big trouble. Gladys says, all she’s doing is trying to take care of Sasha. Sasha is family to her. Sam says, right, and Gladys says she saw the look on Sam’s face at the hospital when Sasha wanted her guardianship rescinded. She thought it was a good idea. Sam says she certainly did, and Gladys asks if Sam can’t see that her loving concern is exactly what Sasha needed. She saw what ended up happening. Sam says, according to witness testimony, Sasha had no idea what happened, and Gladys says, that’s exactly her point. Sam and all the rest of Sasha’s so-called friends thought she was fine. She was the only one who saw the truth. She’s the one who wanted to take care of Sasha. Her friends couldn’t see it because some people manage to hide their feelings and hide what’s going on. Sam says she thinks Gladys is right about one thing. Some people are really good at hiding things. Sasha isn’t one of them. Gladys says, that’s because Sam doesn’t know Sasha the way she does. And she never will. Gladys leaves, and Sam looks over at Scout, who waves.
Sasha says she told Montague, she doesn’t remember stabbing Cody, but he says she did stab him. In front of a lot of people. She very nearly killed him. She says she guesses she needed help, and he agrees. He brings a chair over and suggests they start with what she does remember. She says, everything was going well. Some days were more difficult than others, like when someone tried to upset her on Home & Heart. But she handled it, and she was proud of herself for being able to handle it. He says, it’s clear now that she wasn’t dealing with it, and she says, but she was. She thinks it started happening after she took those pills he prescribed her. She took them for a few days and started to feel groggy and paranoid, and she started hallucinating and hearing voices. He says, the pills he gave her aren’t what caused her hallucinations or violent behaviors, but she says she was fine before she started taking them. He takes a plastic bag with a bottle in it out of his pocket, and says, they found these in her purse. It’s what caused her to try and kill Cody Bell.
Nina asks if Olivia is sure she’s thinking clearly. Isn’t this going to be too painful for her? Olivia says she loves Sonny. They have an amazing son, a spectacular grandson. She wants him to be happy, and Nina makes him happy. Nina says, what about Carly? and Olivia says, Carly’s her best friend; that ain’t gonna change. And deep down, she thinks Carly wants Sonny to be happy too… even if they aren’t on the best terms right now. Carly still believes Ned turned her and Drew in, and got Drew sent to prison.
Brick says, Gordon Stevens, 52. Sonny met him? Sonny says, briefly. Took him for an ex-con. Brick says, good eye. Five years in Pentenvillefor grand larceny. No wife, no kids, no family. Worked for a trucking company in… Sonny says, Pautuck, and Brick says, and finally, we have this guy. He sets down a photo and says, Mason Gatlin.
Valentin says he’s sorry he couldn’t bring better news for all three of them. He asks if Ace remembers him, then asks if he can hold him. Spencer nods, and Esme gives Ace to Valentin, who says, they spent a lot of time in Greenland, didn’t they? Good for Spencer. Not every brother would step up the way he has. Spencer says, it’s not Ace’s fault their father’s a coward, and Valentin says, he’s doing a good job. Look at Ace. After Greenland, he’s still a happy and well young man. Spencer says, Esme’s taken a lot of the responsibility. She’s determined to make sure Ace has everything he wants. She’s a good mother. Esme thanks him, and says, although she can’t quite figure out how to give him a bath without drenching herself. Valentin says she’ll figure it out, and tells Ace that he’s credit to his brother and mother. Spencer and Esme smile.
Robert says, Pikeman’s an independent defense contractor; been around forever. But then again, she should know that. So what is she really asking him? She remembers a Bureau agent saying he wants to ask her about the Greenland incident. Before she arrived in London, he went over several reports about Greenland, and he has a few questions. She says, of course (🍷). Whatever he needs. He asks, what possessed her to go rogue, run interference, and ignore the very specific mandate Agent Hursley gave her? and she says, with all due respect to Agent Hursley… He says, she provided him with no respect whatsoever, and she says she has to be honest with him. He didn’t seem to grasp the fact people’s lives were at stake and that there were extenuating circumstances. He says, there always is, particularly with her. It says here that after her arrival, she sought out Valentin Cassadine. She notices he has a file on Pikeman, and he says, as she’s well aware, the Bureau has been keeping track of him for several years, and there appears to be a discrepancy in her reporting on pages 6 and 12. Robert says, earth to Anna. Why is she talking about Pikeman? She says she’s sure it’s nothing. He’s been very helpful. She leaves, and he says he didn’t do anything.
Nina says, Carly blames Ned for what happened to Drew? and Olivia says, Carly came to the hospital when Ned was in ICU. They didn’t know if he was going to make it. She was a complete wreck and bit Carly’s head off, but it seemed like she still believed Ned did it. Olivia knows he didn’t. Before this thing went down, Ned swore to her that it wasn’t him and she believes him. Somebody else turned in Carly and Drew. Nina says, Olivia hasn’t spoken to Carly since? and Olivia says, no, but you know what? They’re going to get through it. She and Carly have been through a lot worse. Nina says, if Olivia is sure about this, she and Sonny would be honored to have her help plan their wedding. She’s called a couple of venues… Olivia says, whoa, whoa, whoa (WOTD). She’s going to stop Nina right there.
Brick tells Sonny, again, no criminal record. Austin’s cousin on his mother’s side. A trucker; works for the family business. Sonny says, the same business Betty and Gordon worked for? and Brick says, Sonny is doing his job for him now. Sonny asks if Brick thinks he’s the bigger fish, and Brick says, so far. The company was bought two years ago through a very well hidden LLC. No record of his occupation since. Sonny says, what about now?
Valentin promises Ace that he and Ace’s cousin Charlotte are not going to be strangers, and Esme takes Ace to the bedroom. Spencer says he hasn’t had a chance to thank Valentin for Greenland, but Valentin says, Spencer doesn’t have to thank him. Spencer says, if Valentin hadn’t shown up, Uncle Victor was going to use that pathogen on him and Trina. He wouldn’t have been able to face losing her. Valentin says, they all did what they had to do, but Spencer says he’s trying to thank Valentin and tell Valentin that he was wrong about him. Valentin says, no, he wasn’t. Valentin’s father is dead. Nikolas is gone. They have a rare opportunity to reinvent their family. Spencer says, Valentin thinks so? and Valentin says, Spencer, Ace, Alexis, her daughters, they’re good people. Spencer says he’s not sure he deserves to be included in that, but he’ll keep his nose clean if Valentin will. They shake hands.
Robert asks if Mr. Bell sorted Diane out, and she says, he did indeed, but she did not engage. Okay. She engaged a little bit, but only after he made his intentions perfectly clear. He is not going to press charges against her client Sasha Gilmore, and he steadfastly refuses to cooperate with any police investigation into the matter. He says, she stabbed him, and Diane says, allegedly. He says, it was in front of witnesses, but she says, he’s not going to press charges; he’s not going to cooperate. Robert has no case, so she requests all charges against Sasha Gilmore be dropped immediately. He says he’ll talk to the ADA, but she didn’t come all this way to tell him that. She says she didn’t, and holds up a ticket. She came to invite him to the Port Charles auto show – she hands it to him – this weekend. He says he loves car shows. It’s a date. She says, no, it’s not a date. It is simply two colleagues going to look at cars. He needs a new one desperately. He says he loves his car; he’s had it forever. She says, that’s precisely her point. It’s not good to hold on to things forever. He could get stranded by the side of the road. That’s what happens when you try to hold on to things forever; you get stranded by the side of the road again and again and again. Whereas a new model is very dependable and can also be exciting. Of course (🍷) you never know until you try.
Anna makes a chart with names, and remembers the debriefing agent saying, shortly after arrival, she sought out Valentin Cassadine. She thinks about seeing the Pikeman file, and draws a line between the WSB and Pikeman. She flashes back to telling Robert that they can’t talk to Frisco because he left the Bureau, and Robert saying, and the person who replaced him thinks the way to clean up the Bureau’s imagine is to fire everyone. She draws a line between Sonny and Pikeman, and flashes back to Sonny saying he’s working with a high-profile security firm lately. Has she heard of Pikeman? She remembers the agent saying that she sought out Valentin Cassadine, and draws lines from each pair of names – WSB-Robert, WSB-Pikeman, Sonny-Pikeman, and Valentin-WSB – to the middle, where she writes, VALENTIN. She flashes back to telling Sonny that he’s not to speak to anyone new. If his contact person is to change, do not proceed until he’s spoken to his original contact person. Does that make sense? He says it does. She draws a circle around Valentin’s name.
On the phone, Sam tells someone her name and says she was hoping to visit her friend Sasha today. The Ferncliff desk nurse says, only approved visitors are allowed to see Miss Gilmore, and Sam says, approved? The nurse says, she’d need to have the approval of Miss Gilmore’s guardian Gladys Corbin. Sam hangs up.
Nina says, if Olivia’s changed her mind about the wedding, she completely understands, but Olivia says she hasn’t changed her mind about the wedding. What is this crazy talk about other venues? There’s only one venue and she and Nina own it. Nina says, doesn’t she think people are going to… Olivia says, going to what? They’re going to read about the preparations on every website known to man? They’re going to be dying to have their wedding here? They’re going to bring in all kinds of business? Come on. Nina can’t possibly be selfish enough to deny the MetroCourt all that free publicity. Not to mention the fact that she’ll have a beautiful, spectacular wedding. Nina says, as co-owner of the MetroCourt, she guesses that makes sense, and Olivia says, if she has the wedding someplace else, people are going to wonder why. There will be cancelations all over the place. It can’t happen. Nina says, okay, and Olivia asks, so when’s the date? Nina says, they haven’t picked an exact date, but they were thinking Valentine’s Day, and Olivia says, ooh la la, romantic. It’s a great idea. Several months away… She could plan Harry and Meghan’s wedding in less time. Nina puts her hand on Olivia’s and says, thank you.
Brick says, this bastard is blackmailing him? and Sonny says, Ava. Brick says, because of the connection to his cousin? Why don’t they just take all three of them out and be done with it? Sonny says, they can’t. He has Nikolas Cassadine’s body. Brick says, so he didn’t run. He’s dead. Sonny lowers his voice, and says, Ava killed him, but she says it was an accident, and Brick says, wait a minute. Sonny’s saying they have her ex-husband’s body? Sonny says he’s got to protect her because she’s the mother of his child, so they can’t do anything until they get the body back. Looking like he has a headache, Brick says, hands off, and Sonny says, he lives until they get that body back.
Esme comes back out with Ace, and says, Valentin’s gone? and Spencer says, yep. She says she wanted him to see Ace’s new outfit. Oh well, next time. She tells Ace that Valentin liked him. He didn’t seem so bad. Spencer says, he’s not, and she thanks him for saying she’s a good mother. He says, she is, and she says, it’s just nice to hear. Although it’s not hard to be a good mother to this guy. Sometimes she thinks she couldn’t love him more, and every day she does. Maybe it’s because he gets cuter every day. Spencer says, that’s true. Ace is a very good-looking kid brother. She says, why don’t they take some pictures? and Spencer says, sure. They take pictures of Esme and Ace, Spencer and Ace, Ace alone, and the three of them. They look at the photos afterward, and Spencer says he thinks he’ll send this one to grandmother. Actually, he should probably send all these to grandma. She’d love to see Ace. Esme laughs and pushes Spencer’s hair out of his eyes.
Sasha looks at the bottle and says, these aren’t hers. She hasn’t been using. Someone must have planted them in her purse. He says, but she knows exactly what these are, doesn’t she? and she says she stopped taking them. He says, her bloodwork says otherwise. She’s been taking these for months. She says, no. She went to rehab. She beat her addiction. He says, she must know how common relapses are. There’s nothing to be ashamed about. She says she didn’t take them, and he says, if he’s going to help her, he needs to deal with the facts he has, and she needs to accept them too. They need to get those drugs out of her system, and this will do just that. He takes out a syringe, and puts it in her IV tube.
Cody goes to the desk at Ferncliff, and tells the Nurse Janice that he’s here to see Sasha Gilmore. She asks what his name is. She has to make sure he’s on the list of approved visitors. He says he’s sure he’s on the list. Sasha was married to his late cousin Brando Corbin. He’s Dante Falconari. Mandy joins them, and says, Sasha talked about her husband Brando, and Cody says, his death was a blow to all of them, but particularly for Sasha, obviously. That’s why his family is worried about her. Can he please see her?
As they walk into the restaurant, Brick says, Sonny takes good care of his exes, that’s for sure. He made sure to protect Carly’s new beau in prison. Now Ava. What’s next? Nina says, hey, Brick, and he says, what’s up, gorgeous? Olivia joins them, and he says, and another gorgeous. Olivia laughs, and Nina asks if everything is all right. Brick says, it will be, and Sonny asks why it looks like they’ve been up to something. Nina says, Olivia graciously agreed to help them plan their wedding, here at the MetroCourt, and Sonny says, really? That means a lot to him. Brick says, Sonny leads a charmed life, and Sonny smiles.
Janice asks to see Cody’s driver’s license, calling him Mr. Falconari, and he checks his pockets. He says he must have left it in the car, but she says she’s sorry. No one gets in to see Miss Gilmore without the consent of her guardian. If he wants to run to his car and get it, visiting hours are until 7 pm. He says he parked pretty far away, and Mandy says, he’s family, a cousin-in-law. Janice says, it wouldn’t matter if he was her brother. Miss Gilmore’s guardian was very specific. Cody says he bets she was, and Mandy asks if it isn’t time for Janice’s break. She can cover the front desk. Janice says she didn’t ask Mandy to do that. She’s sure Mandy has patients to check on. Mandy says, always do, and leaves. Cody says he’s sure Janice can understand how concerned they are about Sasha. He just needs a few minutes. She says she thinks she made it pretty clear what he needs. She’s sorry, but she has to follow the rules. The only way he’s getting in here is if he has an ID or he’s a patient. He tells her, have a nice day, and she says she intends to. He leaves, and I think I see an idea lightbulb over his head. Will he be checking in soon?
Scout asks, what’s wrong? but Sam says, there’s nothing wrong. Scout says, she has that look on her face. The look she gives when Scout is in trouble. Did she do something bad? Sam hugs her and says, she didn’t do anything wrong. Someone else did.
At the salon, Gladys tells the nail technician that the color’s not too young for her (like a nail tech would suggest that), when her phone rings. She asks if everything is okay, and Montague says he has everything under control. She says, how’s her daughter-in-law? and he says he can assure her, she’s doing just fine.
Sasha lies on her bed and says, please. She doesn’t want to be here. She wants to go home.
Diane says, Robert suddenly doesn’t seem too enthused at the prospect. That’s okay. She’ll take Alexis. He says, Alexis doesn’t appreciate cars, and Diane says, but Alexis appreciates spending time with her, snatching the ticket out of his hand. She says, adios, and leaves.
Anna says, Valentin linked to Sonny – she draws another line – Sonny connected to Pikeman. What’s Valentin’s link… Valentin walks in, and asks, what’s going on? She says she thinks she knows who shot her. And she thinks he knows who too.
Tomorrow, Brook tells Cody, it looks like something shady is going on; Anna asks if Valentin is keeping something from her; and Tracy says, it’s time to have Ned committed.
👶 Pair Of Aces…
It seems like it would be a lot of fun. And she doesn’t have to change their diapers.
I was actually hoping for some kind of date as to when Bobbie’s death might be announced, but nope. It’s just speculation as to who might show up when it happens. It would be amazing to see them all.
More animals to adore and want, but did they have to put Hugh Hefner’s picture up instead of, oh, I don’t know, one of his pets? Also, note to self: Do not let Charlie Sheen pet sit.

On the phone, Sonny says he needs them to find out everything they can on a Gordon Stevens. He did a little time in Pentenville. He took two bullets outside of GH, and Sonny wants to find out who’s responsible. He goes to the MetroCourt rooftop seating and finds Anna. He asks if this seat is taken, and she says, it is now. He sits across from her, and says he’s glad he found her. He was a worried about her the last time he saw her. She seemed a bit off. She says she got tired of hiding out at home. She got tired of eating cereal for dinner. She’s not very good in the kitchen, and with Valentin gone, it’s possible she could starve. Apparently, she’s never heard of Door Dash. Sonny says he’s surprised Valentin hasn’t come home from his trip, especially with what’s going on with her, but she says she’s fine on her own. She doesn’t need Valentin to protect her. He says, Anna might not need Valentin, but does Valentin know the WSB is trying to kill her?
Gregory gets in the elevator at the MetroCourt, and Tracy yells for him to hold it. He does, and she gets in. He says, you’re welcome.
Alexis lets herself into Molly’s apartment, and asks, how’s the patient? Molly says, she’s making way too much of this. She’s more embarrassed than she is hurt. Alexis tells her, that boot says otherwise. Alexis is her mommy, so let Alexis take care of her, for no other reason than to make Alexis feel better. Molly says she just wishes she could go back to work, but Alexis says, she needs to take a minute. Does she need anything? Molly says she’s good. Sam came by and made sure the fridge was full; Krissy offered to shop for her. Alexis says, good. It’s good of the girls to bring her groceries. Molly says, Krissy didn’t exactly bring her food. She came with something much better. Molly shows her Valiant, and Alexis takes him, saying, aww.
Michael says, Kristina wants to know why he’s so hard on Nina, but she tells him, that’s not what she said. She asked why he’s being such a bastard to her. He says, let him ask her a question. Why is she always so damn nice to Nina? She says she knows their family was hurt by what happened between dad and Nina, but they’re engaged. They’re a part of their family now, so he has to get over it.
Sitting in the prison library, Cyrus reads out loud, peace I leave with you; My peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled. Better let it be afraid… Book slams the Bible shut, and Cyrus says, Lord, let me be a channel of Your peace. Book grabs him and lifts him out of his chair, and slams him up against the wall. He says, there’s no one to help you, old man. No warden, no guards. He’s all alone. There’s no one to help him now. Drew says, but he can. Get the hell away from him. Um… I feel like I missed something with Cyrus becoming this weaker character.
Meeting for drinks, Felicia asks if things are hectic at Deception, and Lucy says, that’s an understatement. She feels like she’s swamped. They’re all scrambling to do massive damage control. Felicia says she feels terrible for poor Sasha, and Cody. She’s just glad he’s going to be okay. It could have been a lot worse. Lucy says, she’s right. They just don’t know what happened. It was so sudden. Sasha’s life was on track. She was doing fine. She was happy. She was looking forward to doing the interview. Then she just lost it – boom. Sasha’s meltdown could have tanked Deception completely. It sent their stock tumbling, but thankfully, they have the Deceptor. The sales are incredible, and she thinks it’s going to save the company. Felicia says, at least that’s good news, and Lucy says, it should be. Felicia says, it’s not, and Lucy says, it’s just… she can’t help it. She discusses and brings up the Deceptor, and all she can think about is Martin was the inspiration for her to create it. Felicia says, and the problem with that would be? and Lucy says she can’t stop thinking about how he gets $50,000 in alimony a month from ex-wife number three. Why didn’t he tell her that? Why keep that a secret? And what else could he be hiding from her?
Tracy says, he’s welcome for what exactly? and Gregory says he held the door for her. The polite response would be, thank you. She says, I’m so sorry, Emily Post. She didn’t realize he expected to be thanked for a basic courtesy. Her phone rings, and he says, so she is familiar with the concept of basic courtesy. Tracy answers, and tells Monica that she’s in the elevator on her way to the restaurant. Although she wishes she’d taken the stairs… She’s canceling? Could Monica have given her a warning?… It is always a medical emergency with her… No, she wasn’t aware Monica was a doctor. She’ll see Monica at home. The door opens, and Gregory says, ladies first. She thanks him, and gets out.
Anna tells Sonny that she doesn’t want to worry Valentin at all. He has his hands full with Laura and Doc and whatever he’s doing. Besides, she doesn’t believe for one second that the Bureau has a hit out on her. Sonny asks if she’s sure about that, because they both know the gun was traced back to the WSB. Anna says, the easiest explanation is that the gun was stolen and sold on the black market. He says, and the shooter? and she says she doesn’t know. A rogue agent? At worst, maybe someone whose family was hurt by her actions. It’s a long time ago, but maybe they want payback. He asks if she’s still planning on using herself as bait to draw them out.
Alexis asks Molly, where on earth did Kristina find Valiant? Where was he hiding? Molly says, Kristina was going through stuff in Alexis’s attic, looking for stuff to sell at the fundraiser. She opened a box, and guess who was sitting there? Alexis says, Kristina used to brush his tail and braid it every night. Then she’d sleep with him in the crook of her neck, and Alexis had to put out carrots in case he got hungry in the middle of the night. Molly says she forgot about the carrots, and Alexis says, Valiant was a very special pony, and Valiant was the only one who could sleep on the bed, where the other stuffed animals were relegated to the floor. Because Molly believed that Valiant was special and needed a place of prominence. Molly asks if she really used that word, and Alexis says, of course (🍷) she did. She had a very big vocabulary at six; she still does. This pony went with her into every important moment of her life when she was little. Molly doesn’t know this, but Alexis actually heard her having a conversation with Valiant when she was getting ready for junior prom. She actually took Valiant with her when she took her SATs. Alexis didn’t know you could do that, but Kristina did. It was a second ago that Kristina was a little girl and had a stuffed pony, and now she’s Alexis’s big girl. She’s practicing law. Kristina says she may be all grown up, but she still needs her mom.
Michael says he doesn’t want to get into this with Kristina. Nina has caused enough stress in his life. The last thing he wants to do is fight about Nina with her. Kristina says, good. She’s not looking for a fight. She’s just offering Michael a simple solution. He asks if she’s giving him advice, and she says she is. He can be Mr. Big Shot Business Guy here, but they all know she has a sixth sense when it comes to people. He asks what her sixth sense is telling her, and she says, that he should drop this grudge and just give Nina a chance. He says, that’s just it. He’s given Nina chance after chance, and she keeps crossing the line. Kristina says, he shouldn’t even be drawing a line. Make peace. If not for his sake, do it for Willow. He says, if he just does what she’s telling him, everybody will be happy, and she says, yeah, basically. He says, it’s not about him. This is about Willow. When it comes to Nina, whatever Willow decides, he’ll support. She says, wow. How does he do that? He has to teach her. He says, teach her what?
Book says, this has nothing to do with Drew. So why doesn’t he just walk away and pretend he didn’t see anything? Drew says he can’t do that, and Book says, if he gets involved, he’ll pay the price. Is this codger really worth it to him? I wonder who uses words like codger, and Cyrus says, he’s making a mistake, but Book says, Cyrus is the one making a mistake. He thinks he has power here? That everyone’s still in his pocket? He doesn’t have any more allies; those days are gone. Cyrus starts looking uncomfortable and rubbing his chest, and Drew says, he told Book to leave him alone. Book says he’s giving Drew one more chance to get the hell out of here and forget he saw this. Cyrus starts to breath heavily, and Drew says he really doesn’t want any trouble here. Book tells Cyrus, you’re getting weak, old man. (What is Cyrus? Like 50?) We all see it. Drew decks Book, who falls to the floor. Cyrus crouches down, clutching his chest.
Michael asks what skill Kristina wants him to teach her, and more important, why? She says, he never actually committed to giving Nina a second chance, and he didn’t even say he’d try to get along with her. What he did say was he would leave it up to Willow. He says he still doesn’t follow because he’s stupid, and she says, it’s a classic move out of the Michael Corinthos playbook. Keep everything close to the vest, don’t give anything away, always keep your options open. It’s very admirable. Meanwhile, she’s over here like an open book. Leaping before she looks, impulsive. It doesn’t always bode well for her professionally or personally. He says, she’s giving him too much credit. Yes, he’s very analytical and thinks about everything, but she’s open, honest, and a free spirit. She goes where her heart tells her to go, and that’s not always a bad thing. Plus, she genuinely wants to help people. He admires her for that. She thanks him, and says she’s glad he sees them as good qualities, because honestly, it doesn’t always get the job done.
Anna tells Sonny that she’s got a few ideas, but it will take more investigating before she puts a plan in motion. Sonny says, let him know if she needs help. He doesn’t like that she’s alone in that house when there are threats coming. She says she really appreciates Sonny looking out for her, but can he call his watchdog off? She sees him parked outside her house, and she doesn’t need that kind of protection. She just doesn’t want it. He says he gets it. She wants him to stay out of it. She says, he has enough on his plate. He doesn’t need to add her to his long list of problems. He says he’s got a lot going on, but he always has time for her.
Molly says, when Alexis talks about memories from when she was little, now it’s bittersweet. It’s something she might never get to experience. Will she ever get to make memories like that with a child of her own someday? It’s something she really wants. Alexis asks if TJ feels the same way, and Molly says, he does. Alexis asks if they’ve talked about options, and Kristina says, when they committed to each other, they always thought kids were something in the future. They wanted to establish their careers first, but deep down, she wanted to be a mom. They were both so disappointed when they found out she wasn’t pregnant. For a few short hours before she took the home pregnancy test, they were just excited about the thought of being parents. Then they got hit with the endometriosis news, and she couldn’t accept that she couldn’t have a baby. It leaves them with a lot to think about. Alexis says she’s certain Molly and TJ will make the right decision, because it’s certainly their decision to make. Molly says, they definitely want a baby, but how do they make that happen?
The hostess says, table for two? and Tracy says, no, but Gregory says, yes. Come on. Live a little. Her dinner date canceled. Tracy says, it wasn’t a date; it was her former sister-in-law. He says, just join him for dinner. Please. She says, well, since he said please… Table for two. The hostess says, right this way. She’ll send their waitress right over. Gregory holds Tracy’s chair for her, and she says, thank you, kind sir. I love courtesy, but I have to admit, chair holding makes me nervous. I’m always afraid I’ll end up just half on the chair or on the floor. He says, she’s welcome. See? They’re making progress. She asks if this is going to be a running theme. He does his best Cary Grant, holding elevators and pulling out chairs, and she’s supposed to say thank you every time? What’s next? Throwing his jacket over a puddle? He asks if that would be so bad, and she says, torture. They open their menus.
Drew asks if Book has allies or he’s working on his own, and bent over and panting, Cyrus says, allies. Drew asks, how many? And Cyrus says something indecipherable. Drew says, they have to get him out of here. Can he walk? Cyrus shakes his head, and Drew says, they’re going to get him to the infirmary. Book comes to and gets up. He takes a shiv out of his sock, and runs toward Drew.
Molly says, their first choice was IVF, and Alexis says, understandable. IVF is very common now. Molly says, exactly. She thought it was simple. Use her eggs and TJ sperm. An embryo would be carried by a gestational surrogate. Now they know that can’t happen because her eggs aren’t viable. So the next option would be using someone else’s eggs, and that could be from the donor or the surrogate. Alexis says, she has a lot to process, and Molly says she knows. She just can’t help but think using Kristina might be the best solution.
Michael and Kristina sit down, and Michael asks, what job needs to get done? Is this about the foundation she’s starting? She says, the shelter, yeah. She’s setting up a shelter for LGBTQIA+ teens that are at risk. Dad found the site and set up all the funding. He says, that’s good, right? and she says, it’s amazing. She has to get everything off the ground; contractors and architects, and securing building permits. She has to learn all these new tax codes for non-profit. It’s a lot, and she’s just realizing how in over her head she is. He asks how he can help, and she says she thought he’d never ask.
Sonny says he hates what that bastard Victor did to Anna. Exposing her past is cruel. She says, the Cassadines can be a cruel bunch sometimes, and he says, but there is a collateral to this. They’re not on opposite sides. They don’t have to pretend they’re not friends. She says she never pretended, and they laugh. He says, so all this time she’s been judging him and digging him for his criminal activity, she’s meant it? and she says, absolutely. But if she’s being honest, she has to admit, even when she was doing her duty to uphold the law and bring him to justice, there was part of her that really admired how he was able to… He says, get away with it, and she says, okay, and laughs.
Felicia tells Lucy not to jump to conclusions. They don’t know for sure that those payments are alimony. Lucy says, come on. You don’t have to be a lawyer to figure it out. She gets up and says, your honor, exhibit A; Mr. Grey is receiving $50,000 every single month from a company in Pine Valley called Maquillage. That said company is owned by his horrible, greedy ex-wife number three. She looks at Felicia, and Felicia says, what? Lucy says, it just occurred to her. They only have Marty’s word that ex-wife number three is so horrible and greedy. She’s the one that’s shelling out all that alimony. What if it’s Marty? What if he’s the one who’s so greedy? Felicia says she doesn’t think… and Lucy says, wait a second. That’s the reason he couldn’t marry her. Because he would lose all that money. She digs in her bag, and Felicia asks what she’s looking for. Lucy says she’s looking for any gummi, even if it’s stale, and Felicia says she thought Lucy told her that wasn’t working for her. Martin walks in, and says, lookee here. Two of his favorite ladies. It must be his lucky night. Can he join them?
Book rushes Drew, as Cyrus remains doubled over and breathing heavily. Drew and Book circle each other, and Drew gives Book a kick, sending him flying into the shelves. Book picks up a book (ha-ha), and tries to hit Drew with it, but Drew dodges it and knocks Book down. He picks Book back up, and is punching the hell out of him, when the guards walk in. Two of them grab Drew and Book, and the third says, solitary for the both of them. Cyrus slides to the floor.
Anna says, there was always a part of her that admired Sonny’s ability to compartmentalize. On the one hand, he’s a loving father, going to dance recitals, soccer matches, whatever. On the other hand, he’s head of a criminal enterprise. It’s an interesting dichotomy, doesn’t he think? The doting father, then the commitment to running his business. He says, it’s a good thing, right? and she laughs, saying, yeah. It’s a good thing. But as an agent, she didn’t have the luxury of admiring the person she was trying to take down, because then it’s her personal feelings affecting her work. It compromises the whole situation. And if she’s being honest, that’s exactly what happened early on in her career, and she was determined that wasn’t going to happen with him. Now her reputation is kind of tarnished. She can say with 100% certainty, she never turned a blind eye to him or his organization. He says, that’s for damn sure. When she was Police commissioner, she was all over him, and he’s sure she was like that with any agent she was up against. She says, yes, she was, and he looks down. She asks if she hurt his feelings, but he says, no…What if it wasn’t Victor?
Kristina says, all foundations have a Board of Directors. She wants Michael to join. He says, who else is on the Board? and she says, no one, yet, but that’s only because he’s her first and only choice. She knows how busy he is here, but not just here; he has a lot going on everywhere. She knows he’s covering for Drew while he’s away, and at home, he has things going on with Willow and the kids. The last thing she wants to do is add to that, but he’s the smartest person she knows. Please? What does he say?
Gregory tells Tracy that his friend was in a bind and asked him to watch his dog. He said Astro wouldn’t be a problem. He just didn’t like to be left alone, so of course (🍷), he had to take Astro to class with him. So he’s in the middle of this passionate lecture about freedom of the press, and he hears tittering in the class. He’s a little offended, so he stops and says, does anybody have any questions?One student raises his hand and says, Professor, did you forget to walk your dog this morning? That’s when he realized Astro was relieving himself in the middle of the classroom. Tracy laughs, and he says, the moral of the story is don’t ever bring a pet to class. They will upstage you every time. She says, that was surprisingly charming, and he says, thank you… I think.
Molly says she must sound like a hypocrite after her reaction when Kristina first brought up the idea, but Alexis says, absolutely not. Her reaction was completely appropriate. Kristina’s timing, however, was not. There’s a lot to weigh with Kristina’s offer. Molly says she went ballistic when she overheard Kristina talking about being the egg donor and surrogate, but the more she thinks about it, it could be a good option. She and Krissy share DNA, so the baby would technically be a part of her. And it’s not like they’re using some stranger who could have a questionable lifestyle. They know Kristina’s medical history and her social habits. That’s a good thing, right? Alexis says, Molly sounds like she’s trying to talk herself into it. Is she? Molly says, she’s pointing out that Kristina seems to check all the boxes, which means she could be the perfect choice to carry their baby. What does Alexis think?
Lucy says, funny. She was just singing Martin’s praises. She was telling Felicia that the sales for The Deceptor are skyrocketing, thank goodness, and she owes it all to him because he was the inspiration for it. Martin says, they all know The Deceptor is 100% Lucy’s baby. There’s no reason to bring him into it. Lucy looks at Felicia, and Martin asks how their trip went. Felicia says, it was a fun getaway, and he asks where they went. Felicia says, they went to the spa… and Lucy says, in Llanview. Who knew? It was just beautiful. Felicia says, it was a real girls trip; wine, facials, and spa treatments. It’s getting late. She needs to check in with Mac and relieve him of his babysitting duties. A grandmother’s work is never done. She jets, and Martin asks Lucy if Felicia is okay.
A guard examines Cyrus, and Drew says he thinks Cyrus is having a heart attack. Please just get him out of here. The guard tells him to shut up and tells the others to take Drew and Book out of here. Book is hauled out, but Drew says he was in the military. Please. Just let him help Cyrus. The guard says, fine. Let him go. Drew runs to Cyrus and starts checking him out like he knows what he’s doing.
Tracy tells the waitress, separate checks, but Gregory says he’s got it. Tracy says she can pay for herself, and he says he’s not questioning her finances, but he insisted she join him, so his treat. She says, he’s definitely more entertaining than her sister-in-law, and he says, that’s not exactly a stellar review, but he’ll take it. Next time, she can grab the check. She says, next time? Who says there will be a next time? He just smiles.
Cyrus is on his back on the floor, and Drew blots his face with water. He tells Cyrus, try to relax. Take deep breaths. It’s very important. Take deep breaths in through his nose and out through his mouth. He tells the guards that they have to call the infirmary again, and the main guard tells the other to find out what’s taking so long. Drew tells Cyrus, hang in there. You got this.
Alexis says, it’s such a personal decision for Molly; she doesn’t want to influence her. Molly asks if Alexis can at least help her weigh the options. Try and sit back and talk to her as a former lawyer, not her mother. Alexis says, on the positive side, Kristina is in good health and she’s at a good age, but there are so many other things to consider. She knows Molly wants this to be the perfect solution because Kristina is her sister and she loves her, and because the baby would share her DNA; but on the minus side, most surrogates don’t have a relationship with the baby after it’s born, and Kristina would have a relationship with the baby forever. Molly says, but she already knows Kristina is an amazing aunt, and she’d be the same for… and Alexis says, that’s just it. She wouldn’t really be the baby’s aunt. She would be the baby’s biological mother, and that just buys Molly a whole lot of really complex issues that could come down the line. She just wants Molly to think about it and be prepared. Molly asks if she’s saying Kristina wouldn’t accept the role of aunt, and she’d want to be more, but Alexis says she doesn’t know that. Molly doesn’t know that. Kristina doesn’t know that. She’s never been pregnant before, and nobody knows if she’d be able to detach or not. Molly says, Alexis is freaking her out, but Alexis says she’s not trying to. She’s just trying to make Molly think. This is a huge commitment for Kristina. Molly says she realizes that, but she’s not sure Kristina does.
Michael says he’d be honored to have a seat on the Board, and Kristina thanks him, hugging him. She says she knew she could count on him, and he says he knows she’s going to make this youth center a huge success. She says she hopes so. She wishes she had that confidence. She feels like with her running things, it’s only going to last six months. He says, she has to believe in herself, and she tells him, funny he should say that. Molly was literally saying that to her the other day. She thinks her big fear is that she’s going to make huge mess out of everything – again – and then dad’s going to have to clean up after her. And mom is going to be totally disappointed with her again. And ultimately, she’ll prove everyone right, that she can’t do anything and follow through with something. He tells her to stop being so hard on herself, and she says, dad really gave her a great head start with this foundation. She just knows if she doesn’t succeed, she’s going to let him down. He says he can’t believe he’s saying this, but she underestimates dad.
Sonny says, all this information about Anna being a double agent that got to the press. He’s sure the WSB sealed the records. Why expose her now? She says, the timing isn’t a coincidence. Even in death, Victor is the gift that keeps on giving. It all just came out when his will was being read. The lawyer played this taped message from Victor, saying he was leaving her with the truth. She wasn’t sure what that meant, then less than an hour later, she was here, remember? And she was arrested by Agent Hursley. Then the whole media blitz started. Her face was plastered on every newspaper: Anna Devane, Double Agent. He says, so Cassadine exposing her past was all about payback? His final act of revenge? She says she thinks so. What else could it be?
Michael tells Kristina, despite his feelings about dad, he can be objective. He’s always been a savvy businessman. He wouldn’t invest time and money in Kristina if he thought she’d fail. If she needs Sonny’s guidance, just reach out to him. He’ll surround her with professionals who know how to get the job done. She says, that’s what she thought too, but once they got the funding set up, he completely backed off. Michael says, probably because he doesn’t want to overstep and make it seem like he’s keeping tabs on her. Dad is her biggest fan, and he’ll give her all the tools she needs to succeed. All she has to do is reach out to him. She says, it’s annoying how right he is sometimes. Michael’s got to admit, he still loves dad. Otherwise, Michael wouldn’t have this much faith in him. Michael says she should get out of here, and hugs her. Her new Board member needs to get to work. She thanks him and leaves.
Anna says, clearly someone else from the WSB could have reason to leak those confidential files, and Sonny says, she was a damn good agent. He’s sure she was a threat to somebody in the organization who thought they could shut her out. She says, could be. Her ego would really like to believe that’s true, but she has no way of knowing. She doesn’t even know if that bullet was meant for her at the pool. It could have just as easily been meant for him. He says he considered that. He’s been working with a high-powered security firm lately. Has she heard of Pikeman? She says, yes, she’s heard of Pikeman. Trust her. He doesn’t want anything to do with them.
Tracy guesses Gregory doesn’t miss lecturing, since he does so much of it outside the classroom, and he laughs. He notices his hand shaking and steadies it with his other hand. She asks if he’s okay, and he says he’s fine. Too many years of writing on a blackboard. Teachers don’t have to worry about that anymore; everything’s electronic. He’s sorry, but he has to run. He promised Alexis that he’d look over an article for her before it goes to press. They say goodnight, and he heads for the elevator, steadying himself for a moment along the way. Tracy watches him, and takes out her phone.
Molly thanks Alexis, and says, Alexis has given her a lot to think about. She wasn’t looking at it from Kristina’s viewpoint, and that’s something she and TJ have to consider. Alexis says she knows this is hard, and she’s sorry, but she knows Molly is brave and can handle it. And like she’s said, sometimes the most difficult things in life… Molly joins her in saying, can be the most rewarding. Alexis gives Molly a kiss, and says, Molly’s her favorite. Molly says, she tells all of them that, and Alexis says she does. The good news is, Molly isn’t doing this alone. Alexis did it alone twice, and it’s hard. But Molly has TJ, and that little guy; she points to the horse. Molly thanks her, and asks what she’d do without her. Alexis says, hopefully, she won’t have to know for a very long time. See ya, Valiant. She leaves, and in the hallway, her phone rings. She asks what she can do for Tracy, and Tracy says she just had dinner with a friend of Alexis’s, Gregory Chase. Alexis asks what Tracy was having dinner with Gregory for, and Tracy says, it’s not important. She wants to know if something’s wrong with him. Alexis says, in what way? and Tracy says, his health.
Lucy asks if Martin has checked in with his mother today, and he says he does every day; she knows that. If he doesn’t call, mama calls the neighbors. She says, so how is his mother today? and he says, she’s as vivacious as ever. He thanks her for asking, and says, as a matter of fact, she was trying on a new lipstick when they spoke. It’s Bingo night, and she’s vying for the affections of one Mr. Brewster, the most eligible bachelor there. Lucy says, clearly, she seems to be enjoying herself at the retirement home. It’s good, right? They take good care of her. She hears those places are very, very expensive. It makes her think he has such a huge financial burden; his mom and paying all that alimony to his ex-wives, three of them. He says, they’re a rather unique set of rapacious creatures, to be sure, especially number three. She’s a real piece of work. A vulture. Picks at your bones until there’s nothing left. Lucy says, she just sounds awful, and he says, she is, but he manages somehow for mama. He has to. It’s not like Cyrus can provide for her.
On the radio, the guard asks, where the hell’s that doctor? They need him here now. Drew tells Cyrus to stay with him, while he continues to blot Cyrus’s forehead. He says, hang on. Help is on the way. Stay with him. Come on. Stay with me. Cyrus sees a bright white light.
I’m no paramedic, but shouldn’t Drew be doing… something more?
Tomorrow, Anna asks how involved Sonny is with them; Carly accuses Ava of being up to her old tricks; and Dante asks, what happens if his old man’s theory is right?
🌱 Celebration Of Life…
The real-life memorial for Jacklyn Zeman. Still no word on how GH will be handling this. I don’t blame them. We haven’t recovered from Sonja Eddy yet.
This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while. Maybe it’s weird, but more power to him for living his dream. And he’s bringing happiness to people. A real life Sam from True Blood. I always thought Sam would make the perfect boyfriend. When he became tiresome, he could turn into a dog.

On the phone at Kelly’s, Carly says, everything is under control. The regulars from the waterfront are still coming in. It’s great. She has to have the guy come and look at the freezer because it’s still leaking, and the bread was delivered two hours late, but she was able to work around that… She knows, and promises to figure it all out, but she’s got to go because they’re busy. She puts some to-go orders on the counter, when Nina walks in.
Finn finds Portia crying in the employee lounge and asks if she’s all right… He says, of course (🍷) she’s not. Is there anything he can do? She says, no. It’s just this whole thing with Curtis. It’s really catching up with her and she doesn’t know what to do. He glances at his phone as she pulls tissues out of the box on the table.
Elizabeth tells Curtis, good morning, and he asks if she’s here as a nurse or his friend. She says she hopes he always sees her as his friend, but she is working. She just needs to check his vitals and update his chart. He says he doesn’t want to interfere with her job, and as she’s here in an official capacity, he has a favor to ask. He doesn’t want any visitors in his room, especially Trina and Portia. Her phone dings, and she sees a text from Finn: SOS DOCTOR’S BREAK ROOM.
On the phone, Maxie tries to find out what time visiting hours are, but James comes tearing out, chased by Georgie, who yells, give it back! They struggle over a tablet, and Maxie says, that’s it. Georgie says, he started it, and Maxie tells them, sit on the couch, separate ends, and don’t even think about looking at each other.
Cody apologizes for just showing up in the middle of the night, and Dante asks if he means passing out on the doorstep. Cody says he was pretty bad, wasn’t he? and Dante and Sam both say, yes. Cody says, thanks to them, he’s feeling much better, and Sam says, he looks much better. She’s glad they insisted he stay here instead of going to the Quartermaine’s last night. Dante says he thinks Cody left out some details though, and Cody says he’s really worried. Sam says, about Sasha? and he says, she doesn’t realize how much danger she’s in.
Sasha wakes up and realizes she’s tied to a hospital bed. She yells, asking if anyone can hear her, and struggles against the leather straps.
Sam asks why Cody was more worried about Sasha last night than his stab wound, and he says he’s not the one who got hauled off to a place called Ferncliff for the criminally insane. Dante says, that’s because Sasha stabbed him, and Cody says, she didn’t mean to. Dante says, she was disoriented. It doesn’t change what she did. It doesn’t excuse what she did. Cody says, but she’s not insane. She didn’t even know she was attacking him. She thought he was someone else. She kept calling him Cyrus. Dante says, that’s why she’s in Ferncliff; she’s not well. Cody says, no. He’s not buying it. Something else is going on here.
Sasha shouts, hello? Is anyone there? A woman walks in and says, hello. She’s Andie. She’s a nurse practitioner here to help Sasha. Sasha says, there’s been a terrible mistake. She shouldn’t be here. Andie says, she’s here to get some help, and Sasha asks where she is. Andie says, she’s in Ferncliff Hospital. Does she remember being admitted? Sasha says, no. Why would she be admitted to a hospital for the criminally insane? This doesn’t make any sense at all. She doesn’t belong here. Can Andie please contact her family? Can she call Sasha’s mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin?
Maxie says, Grandpa Mac is on his way here right now to take them to the pool, but if they don’t start behaving, she’ll have to call and tell him to forget about it. Then they’ll spend the entire day in their room – cleaning… with no screen time. James says, Georgie should clean the room. She hogs it with all her books and clothes. Georgie says, that’s not true. She keeps herself on her side of the room. She gets no privacy with him. He’s the one always making a mess. There’s a knock at the door, and Maxie opens it to Mac, who asks if the kids are ready for their day at the pool. They both scowl, and Maxie says, thank God he’s here. Bailey Lou is with the sitter. James and Georgie can have one treat – one – at the pool. But no one’s going anywhere until they clean up this apartment, so… She leaves, and Mac says, bye. He’s got it handled. Are they ready for some fun? The kids just look at him.
Nina says she’s glad she ran into Carly. There’s something she wants to say to her. Carly asks what she wants, and Nina asks if she works here. Carly says she owns the place, and Nina says, really? Good for her. Willow is back to her old self. She looks amazing. That bone marrow transplant was a huge success. Carly says she knows. How does Nina know that? Nina says she was at the gatehouse yesterday visiting Willow.
Finn gives Portia some coffee, and she says she’s sorry for breaking down like this, but he says, there’s no need to apologize. They all have breaking points, even doctors. It makes them human. Elizabeth comes in, and Portia asks if she got a chance to see Curtis today. Elizabeth says she just came from his room, and Portia asks how he is this morning. Elizabeth says, emotionally speaking, he’s not the Curtis she knows. He wants to be alone, and asked her to limit his visitors. Portia says she bets that includes her and Trina, and Elizabeth says, their names were mentioned, yes. Portia says, her husband has been shot and he’s recovering from spinal surgery. He may never regain the use of his legs, and she’s not allowed to be in the room with him. She starts to cry again, and Finn says he’ll leave the two of them alone. He leaves, and Portia says she feels so sorry for Finn; she’s such a mess. Elizabeth asks, what happened between her and Curtis? and Portia says, Elizabeth heard what Curtis said. He doesn’t want to have anything to do with her.
Molly works on her laptop, her foot elevated and in a boot. Sam comes in and says she’s sorry she’s late. She had an unexpected visitor last night. She got Molly’s favorite, a mocha latte (mine too!), and Molly says she’s glad Sam’s here, but she doesn’t need to wait on her and bring her coffee. Sam says, Molly’s her little sister, she had an accident, and it’s her job to take care of Molly. And she loves Molly.
Cody folds the linens he used, placing them on the sofa, and Dante says, Sam’s gone. Maybe Cody can level with him now. Cody says he did, but Dante says, not completely, right? Why is he so concerned about Sasha? Why does he think there’s more to her breakdown? Cody says, because there is, and Dante says, like what? He knows Sasha’s had a breakdown before, and a lot of losses that have left her in a very fragile state. Cody says, there’s a big difference between fragile and broken.Sasha was shaky, no question about it, but she didn’t try to hide it or cover it up. She was on an upward trajectory. She was getting stronger every time he saw her. Then all of a sudden, she just craters out of nowhere? Come on detective. Doesn’t that sound suspicious to you?
Portia tells Elizabeth that she’s seen other patients who have been given a similar diagnosis that behave the same way Curtis is behaving; isolating themselves from loved ones, thinking he can do this all on his own. Elizabeth says, plus, Curtis is Portia’s husband, and she’s still dealing with the shock of almost losing him. What she’s feeling right now is valid. Portia says, Elizabeth is right about that, but she thinks she has to face the fact that their marriage is kind of part of the problem. Elizabeth says, Curtis is behaving like most patients facing the possibility of never walking again, and Portia says, yes, but she and Curtis were at odds when he was shot. So now he’s convinced himself that she’s acting out of pity or some sort of obligation, and not out of love for him. It just couldn’t be further from the truth. She flashes back to Curtis saying that she’s thinking, this poor sucker needs me now, but he has news for her; he doesn’t. She tells Elizabeth that she’s loved that man for over twenty years. She loved him when she thought she was never going to see him again. She took their wedding vows very seriously; for better or for worse. But Curtis seems so determined to push her away.
Curtis is looking at his phone when Finn walks in and asks, what’s he reading? Curtis says he’s researching spinal cord injuries, seeing if there’s hope, and Finn says, there’s always hope. Curtis asks, so what brings Finn? He knows it’s not a professional visit. Finn says he’s here as Curtis’s friend. They are friends, remember? Curtis got him through some pretty tough times. He just wants to return the favor, and let Curtis know he’s here for him, whatever he needs. Curtis says he appreciates the gesture. If Finn really wants to be a friend, just give him some space. Finn pulls up a seat and says, if anyone appreciates needing space, it’s him. As a fellow addict in recovery, he knows exactly what Curtis is going through.
Carly says, Nina just can’t help herself, can she? What doesn’t she understand about giving Willow some time and space, and letting her reach out to Nina when she’s ready? Nina says, that’s the thing. Willow called her. Willow is including her in her bubble of friends and family. Carly says, really? and Nina says she was as surprised as Carly is. They had an amazing visit, and she has Carly to thank for that.
Mac tries to clean up as Georgie and James struggle over the tablet again. He asks why they don’t work together to put the toys away. Mom said they can’t go to the pool until this place is straightened up. Georgie says, not until James gives her back her tablet, but Mac says, she won’t need it at the pool. James snatches the tablet, and says he’s going to delete all of Georgie’s Harry Styles songs. She chases him into the other room, and Mac wonders, who’s Harry Styles?
Sam says, Molly told her how she fell, but never said how it happened, and Molly says she was in these new crazy heels, missed a step, and fell in front of the courthouse. She was so embarrassed, until she realized she’d really hurt herself. She’s walked the steps a million times, and still doesn’t know how it happened. She was obviously distracted. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have missed the step, fallen, and hurt her leg. Sam asks, what made her so distracted? and Molly says, the only thing she can think about lately is if and how she and TJ should have a child.
Dante says, six months ago, Cody didn’t even know Sasha. Now he can judge her mental state? Cody says he’s a quick study, but Dante says he doesn’t think that’s enough time to tell if someone is actually improving or on an upward trajectory. Cody says he first got to know Sasha a little while ago at the Qs. They shared biscotti and they talked. Sasha was tentative at first. Kind of like a rider who’s been knocked off of a horse, but still has the courage to get back on. The more he talked to her, the more confident she became, and the better idea he got of how warm and open a person she is. Dante says, he hung out with her a lot after that? and Cody says, enough to keep forming the same impression of her. And she kept getting stronger every time. She was strong enough to maintain her composure when the producers of Home & Heart were sabotaging her. He was there. He saw what they did to her. That’s why he’s convinced, whatever the problem is here, it’s not Sasha. It’s the people around her.
Andie leaves Sasha’s room, and Gladys comes in. Sasha says, thank God she’s here. Gladys has to help her. She doesn’t belong here. Gladys says, she doesn’t remember, does she? and Sasha says, remember what? Gladys says, what she did. What happened at the MetroCourt. Sasha says she doesn’t remember anything. She has no idea what’s going on. Dr. Montague comes in and says he stopped in to check on Sasha. Sasha asks, why? and Gladys says, Sasha doesn’t remember, but she tried to kill Cody Bell.
Carly says, as Nina can see, she’s busy. Could she please get to the point of why she’s thanking Carly for Willow calling her? Nina says, it’s because of Carly why she had such a wonderful visit with Willow, and Carly says, how is that exactly? Nina says she assumes Carly dropped the vendetta against her, and Carly asks, who said she did that?
Portia tells Elizabeth that she knows it’s partially her fault that Curtis is pushing her away. She kept the secret from him for twenty years that Trina might be his daughter. Trina’s whole childhood was robbed from him because of her. He didn’t get a chance to see Trina grow up; she did. Elizabeth says she thought he made peace with that revelation, and Portia says she thought he did too. Elizabeth says, he’s building a relationship with Trina. He moved back into Portia’s house. She assumes that meant he’s forgiven Portia. Portia says she thought so too, but then she found out that he kissed Jordan. Elizabeth says, wait.What? When did this happen? Portia says, when they were living apart. All of a sudden, things were all turned around, and she was starting to feel doubt about him. She was so angry, hurt, and frustrated. She gave this man time and space, and this is what he does? That’s why she spent the night at the hospital instead of going home. She didn’t want to see him. She didn’t want to see that man’s face. Elizabeth says, she had every right to be angry that he kissed his ex-wife. But being shot, as awful as that is, doesn’t absolve him from all the inconsiderate, pigheaded things he’s ever done. It doesn’t make him a saint. Portia says, but he’s still the man she loves. She loves him with all her heart and wants to have a life with him, whether he’s in or out of a wheelchair.
Curtis says he’s not using, and Finn says, good. He just wanted to make sure that hasn’t changed due to Curtis’s current condition. Curtis says, the doctors have him on pain medication. He told them about his history of abuse, so they’re monitoring the doses. Finn says he’s glad Curtis is handling it for now, and Curtis asks, what’s that supposed to mean? Finn says he’s been there. Curtis is isolating himself from all the people who really care about him. Curtis says he’s just trying to figure this out and if it involves Portia or not, and Finn tells him, say he does want to go down this path on his own. Be honest with himself. How long before he starts looking for a little relief from all the pain and all the anger? How long before Curtis just wants to be alone with his drug of choice? Curtis says, this is not about addiction. It’s about his pride as a big baby man. He doesn’t want Portia and Trina to have to take care of him. He doesn’t want to tie them down at all. He never used to be that kind of man. Finn asks, what kind of man would that be? and Curtis says, helpless. Finn says, asking for help doesn’t make you helpless: it makes you smart. (He might also point out that Curtis just insulted everyone in wheelchairs everywhere.) He’s speaking from his own experience. He learned it the hard way. Curtis can’t shut out everybody. Once he accepts and swallows his pride, he accepts he can’t do this all on his own and lets in the people who really care about him, who really love him, that’s when progress happens. Not just physically, but spiritually as well. Curtis says, look at Dr. Finn getting all woo-woo, and Finn says, don’t tell anybody, but he’s going full-on new age now. He’s thinking about getting some crystals and dreamcatchers, and setting them up all around the room. Curtis says he’d pay money to see that, and Finn says him too. But in the meantime, don’t push away the people who care about him the most, not when he needs them the most. He says he’ll see Curtis around, and leaves.
Nina says she just assumed Carly buried the hatchet; that they’re putting this feud behind them. Carly says she doesn’t know what kind of game Nina is playing, but she’s busy and doesn’t have time for this. Nina says she’s not playing a game. She really means it. She wants them to get along… for Willow’s sake. They’re family. Carly says, they’re not family. Family gives. All Nina’s done is take. Nina asks what she’s taken from Carly this time, and Carly says, Nina took her life. Nina says, now Carly is blaming her for owning Kelly’s? and Carly says, they all know Willow’s heart knows no bounds, and she’s allowed Nina access, but the rest of Carly’s family is not so forgiving. She may be having a setback right now, but make no mistake. She’ll get back every single thing she lost; all of it. Carly goes in the behind the counter.
Dante says he assumes Cody’s means Gladys when he talks about the people around Sasha being the problem. Cody says he knew that woman couldn’t be trusted the second he met her, and Dante says, Gladys is the one who wanted Mac to arrest him about the bracelet. Cody says he didn’t take that bracelet. Gladys framed him. Dante says, but he’s been vague on the details of why Gladys would do that to him, and Cody says he knows he has and he’s sorry about that. Gladys didn’t want Sasha to trust him. She wanted him out of Sasha’s life. Dante asks, why? and Cody says, because he was trying to warn Sasha that Gladys couldn’t be trusted. Dante asks, why couldn’t Gladys be trusted?
Sasha asks why she’d try to kill Cody. Or kill anyone for that matter. She’s not a violent person. Montague says, she had a psychotic break. She became delusional. Sasha says, no. She doesn’t understand. This doesn’t make any sense. She was doing better. She was feeling strong and more in control. Gladys says, she wasn’t getting better, and Sasha says, she went back to work at Deception. Brook, Lucy, Maxie, they all said that she was doing better; she was doing great. Gladys says she’s so sorry, but they never said that, and Montague says, those are just more of her delusions. Gladys says, they were very concerned about her, but Sasha must have made all that up to convince herself that she was getting better. Sasha says, no. She didn’t imagine it. Montague suggests Gladys step outside, but Sasha tells Gladys, no. Please don’t. She needs Gladys to stay here with her. Gladys says, they should listen to the doctor, but Sasha says, please don’t. Gladys says she’ll be right outside the door. She’s not going anywhere. She leaves, and Maxie comes up to her in the hallway, asking if that’s Sasha’s room. Was Gladys visiting her? That’s why she’s here; she wants to see Sasha.
Elizabeth says she has to wonder, would Portia still be fighting for this relationship if the shooting had never happened? Portia says she thinks they would have taken some time to work through some of the things they were going through, and rebuild the trust they had before, but yeah, she would. Elizabeth asks if she’s certain, and Portia says she is. She’s hurt that he kissed Jordan, but she kept a secret from him for far too long. Elizabeth says, they both made mistakes, and Portia says, and they both hurt each other. Just thinking about how she almost lost him makes her realize how much she truly cares about him, and she’s loved him most of her life. Elizabeth says, now that she’s had that realization, what is she going to do about it?
Georgie backs James up, and he says, one more step, and he deletes her My Face account. She says, don’t do it, and he says, say goodbye to all her pictures. Mac says, give him the tablet, but James says he can’t. Once he gives Georgie back her tablet, she’s going to destroy his Millenium Falcon Lego set. Georgie says, he hasn’t even started building it yet, and he has no idea where she hid the cockpit so – she lunges for the tablet – let it go. They struggle again, and Mac tells them, stop fighting over the tablet. Give him the tablet. Now the three of them struggle over it, when Felicia walks in. She says, what on earth is going on in here?
Molly tells Sam that she never wanted to be one of those baby obsessed women. The ones who only think about being pregnant, and when they don’t, they’re mired in the fertility clinics and ovulation cycles. Sam says she doesn’t see Molly like that, but Molly asks if that’s not who she’s been lately. Now that she’s facing the reality she can’t carry a child or even use her eggs to create one, she can’t help but wonder if it’s the universe’s way of sending her a message that she was never meant to be a mother and should find other ways of fulfilling her life. Sam says, there’s nothing wrong with not having children, and Molly says she knows that. Sam says, does she? Then she needs to be honest with herself. How would she feel if she never had kids? Molly says, the rational part of herself says, that would be fine, and Sam asks what her heart says. Molly says, in her heart, she knows that she would always feel like there was something missing.
Dante says he believes what Cody is saying about Gladys, but all Cody’s told him is that she can’t be trusted. Why can’t she be trusted? Why did she want him out of Sasha’s life? Cody says, she’s also done things behind Sasha’s back when it comes to managing her estate. Dante says, like what? and Cody says, she sold Brando’s garage without Sasha knowing. When he told Sasha, Dante should have seen her face. She couldn’t believe it. Dante asks how Cody knew about Brando’s garage before Sasha, and Cody says he overheard Gladys and Selina Wu talking at The Savoy. Dante asks what he, Gladys, and Selina Wu were all doing at The Savoy at the same time.
Gladys says she’s sure Sasha would love to see Maxie, but Dr. Montague isn’t letting anybody visit her today. Maxie says she can convince him to make an exception for her friend, and Gladys steps in front of her, saying, she’s Sasha’s mother-in-law and guardian. She barely had time to say hello to Sasha before Dr. Montague asked her to leave. Maxie asks why the doctor isn’t allowing Sasha to have visitors, and Gladys says, poor Sasha is delusional. She’s completely out of it. She’s not making any sense. She doesn’t remember stabbing Cody Bell. It’s breaking her heart to see Sasha like this. Maxie says, she can’t really blame Sasha for freaking out in a place like this. She thinks anyone would. That’s why she needs her friends and family. Gladys says, the doctor is with her now. Hopefully, he can help. Maxie says, maybe it’ll help if Sasha sees her. Just for a minute. Come on. She really needs her friends.
Sasha tells Montague that she was getting better. She knows she was. She could tell. She asked her friend Sonny Corinthos what he thought of her recovery. He said he believed in her, and that he thought she could be in charge of her own life. Montague says, many of the things she thinks she’s remembering may just be a fignewtonment of her imagination. She doesn’t want to remember she almost killed someone, so she replaces those memories with made up ones, ones that make her feel better. She says, no, dammit. She did not imagine that conversation with Sonny. It was real. He says, it seemed real, but she adamantly says, no! She went to see him at his penthouse. He was supportive and said he trusted her judgement. And she was getting better. She was not imagining that. In fact, everything was going great until she started to see him and take that prescription he gave her. Just a thought, but wouldn’t her bag have been taken to the station as evidence? Wouldn’t they have gone through it and found that prescription?
Portia walks in to Curtis’s room, where he’s still on his phone, and he says he thought he said… She asks if he’s still following those horror stories on his phone. Why doesn’t he read these? She slaps some pamphlets on the bed, and says, these are going to help him understand rehabilitation and physical therapy regimens he’s going to be facing. That they’re going to be facing when he gets home. Because he is coming home. And as his wife, she’s going to be there. She’s going to be there with him every single step of the way. He can try all he wants to push her away, but it’s not going to happen. They’re husband and wife and they’re in this together, no matter what the odds are, no matter what life throws their way. She walks out, and he picks up a pamphlet. I get it. He was being a big baby, so she had to put her mom hat on and read him the riot act.
Finn finds Elizabeth in the lounge and asks if they’re alone. She says, the coast is clear, and he thanks her for the save earlier. She asks if he was in over his head, and he says he just wasn’t exactly sure how to help. Which is why he texted her. She says, he wasn’t doing too bad, but Portia needed a girlfriend shoulder to cry on. He says, she’s lucky to have Elizabeth, and she says, she and Curtis are going through hell right now. They were barely holding on to their marriage before he got shot. Now they’ve got to deal with his paralysis. It’s going to be difficult, but she hopes they find their way because she knows they love each other. Where did he disappear to? He says he was just helping a friend too.
Mac slumps in a chair, looking dazed and holding a butterfly net. Felicia tells Georgie that she’s doing a good job, and Georgie thanks her. Georgie and James are straightening up, and being ultra polite to each other. Felicia says, all toys need to be put away neatly on their own sides of the room. Clothes picked up and put away, and beds made. And they have to pass the Grandma Felicia inspection. Go on. The sooner they finish, the sooner they can leave for the pool. They hurry to their room, and Mac says, she’s a miracle worker. How did she do that? She winks at him and says she’s magic.
Sam asks if Molly has talked to TJ about this yet, and Molly says she has, but it’s not the same way she can talk to her sister. It’s so easy to talk to Sam. Sam says, that’s what big sisters are for, but how does TJ feel? Molly says, he wants to have kids; they both do. The question is, do they want to have a child right away? Sam says, it’s a lot to consider, especially since they’re both so early on in their careers, and Molly says, it’s a big decision all around. Maybe they wait, maybe they look to adopt, maybe the go the surrogate route. Although that’s become a landmine with Kristina. She knows there are a lot of options and a lot of decisions to make. Sam says, there are, but the silver lining is, Molly has a lot of time to go through all her options, and she and TJ can make the decision together. And when the two of them do, just remember she’ll be here to listen to Molly, and maybe someday even babysit.
Dante asks again, what were Cody, Gladys, and Selina Wu all doing at the Savoy at the same time? Either Cody cares enough about Sasha to tell him what he knows and how he knows it, or he doesn’t. Cody says, son of a bitch. Okay, fine. Selina Wu runs a high stakes, invitation only poker game in the back room at The Savoy. Gladys is one of her regulars. And she loses big, a lot. She’s lost more than she can ever pay back Selina. That’s why Gladys sold Brando’s garage to Selina, and he’s pretty sure Gladys is raiding Sasha’s bank accounts to pay her gambling debts. Dante asks how he knows all this, and Cody says he plays for Selina. Selina bankrolls him, and his job is to make sure her customers win, but not too big. Selina has threatened to kill him if he tells anyone, so now his life is in Dante’s hands.
Gladys says she thought what Maxie is thinking now. That if she was here, and Sasha saw that she loves her and is here for her, it would help, and it didn’t. Maxie says, okay. She doesn’t believe doing nothing is what’s best for Sasha. Gladys says, right now she and Maxie have to accept they can’t do anything for her. The best thing they can do is let the professionals help her. Maxie says, but she was doing so well. She was getting stronger and stronger, getting her life back on track, and this just happened out of nowhere. It makes no sense. Gladys says she knows. It is heartbreaking seeing her struggle with her mental health, but she’s in good hands. She suggests they get a cup of coffee, and she and Maxie leave.
Montague says, Sasha needs to calm down. She’s becoming agitated. Sasha says she isn’t, and Montague says he’s going to give her something to help her relax. He takes out a syringe, and she says, what is that? She doesn’t want that. Get Gladys back here please. Stop! She doesn’t belong here. He puts the syringe in her IV, and she yells, stop it now! struggling against the straps. She screams for help, and then goes limp.
Nina follows Carly and asks if that’s a threat. Carly says, maybe. Or maybe it’s just her mantra. Do with it what she wants, but get the hell out of her kitchen and take a seat. The waitress will be right with her. Nina says she’s lost her appetite, and leaves. Carly says, oh my God.
Tomorrow, Kristina says she’s been fooling herself this whole time; Esme asks Spencer if it’s a bad sign that he hasn’t heard from her; and Ava asks if this is how Sonny takes care of it.

Loved the challenge of head-to-toe denim, and I had a lot of ideas. Oddly enough, not one designer made the denim headband I made in my head. Guest judges were designer Willy Chavarria and actress Julia Fox, and something I never saw coming happened at the end.
Boomerang back tomorrow for soap, an assortment of tea, words to ponder, and a timely tune. Until then, stay safe, stay treating everyone equally, regardless of their position in life, and stay remembering that asking for help doesn’t make you helpless; it makes you smart.
