Olivia asks Gio about playing the National Anthem at the PCU/Llanview game, when Chase runs in looking for Brook. Lois asks, where’s the fire? when Brook comes out, grabs his hand, and they run upstairs, saying that they’re going to finish a movie. Olivia says she knows where the fire is, and Lois says, they all know.
Sasha tells Maxie that she can’t believe it. She hasn’t slept with anyone since Brando, and spends one night with a guy from the bar… She doesn’t know if she can do this.
Lulu walks into her house and says, what the…? James comes out and asks who she is. She says, sorry, but who is he? And what is he doing in her house?
Lucky says, Cyrus was here? and the manager says, he volunteers at Turning Woods. Lucky asks if he thinks it’s okay that a violent, convicted criminal has access to patients, and Elizabeth asks why the family wasn’t consulted. The manager says, Cyrus is Lulu’s uncle and said he had authority to act on the family’s behalf, and Lucky says, like hell he does.
Kristina says she loved her child and would never hurt her, and Ric says, not more than she loved her father. That’s why she went to the hotel room, isn’t it? To protect her father. She put her father first before the baby. ADA Turner objects, badgering the witness, and the judge sustains it. She tells Ric, question the witness or dismiss her, but don’t testify on her behalf. He says, Kristina wanted to protect her father more than her sister’s child, and Kristina says, she was her child. It was an impossible situation. She wanted to protect her family. He says, the baby was her niece and Kristina’s reckless action caused her death. She’s the reason Irene Davis-Ashford is dead. Alexis stands up and says, that’s enough. Leave her alone.
The judge tells the court to come to order, and Alexis says, the defense attorney is attacking the witness and assaulting her emotionally. It’s egregious. (Alexis’s favorite word.) The judge says, Alexis has no standing in this court and needs to leave before she’s cited for contempt. Alexis says, Ric should be cited for contempt of the judicial process, and the bailiff starts to move toward her. Sonny says, they’ll leave, and the ADA requests a recess, but Ric says, it’s not necessary. No further questions. The judge gives them 15 minutes anyway, and Ava tells Ric that he made Kristina look sympathetic. He says, she already looked sympathetic, but now she looks volatile and reckless. That’s what they wanted.
Kristina says she blew it, but Dante says, not necessarily. He’s been on the stand numerous times, and the jury responds to the truth. She told hers. Molly tells TJ that she’s afraid, and he says, of which part? Ric breaking Kristina down or Kristina saying their baby was her baby. Molly says, if Kristina’s testimony gets Ava acquitted, she’ll never forgive herself. Molly goes over to Kristina and hugs her. She says she’s sure their mom will take Kristina home, but Kristina says she’s not going anywhere, and stares at Ava.
Alexis tells Sonny that Ric knows he can’t win on his own merit, so he’s shattering Kristina. Sonny says, it’s a desperate move and the jury will see right through it, and she says, Ric wanted to make Kristina look like a loose cannon, and she’s worried the jury will believe him. Sonny asks if she wants to go home, but she says she wants to wait. She tells him to go inside. His daughter needs him. He goes back in the courtroom.
Maxie says she knows Sasha is scared, but she meant what she said. Sasha does have a support system and they’ll be here to help. Sasha says she knows. She has a lot of decisions to make, and this isn’t the only one. Maxie says, she just found out that she’s pregnant and needs to do what’s best for her.
James says, it’s not her house. It’s his house. Lulu says she doesn’t know who he is or what he’s doing here. If he tells her where he lives, she’ll help him find his way home. He says he doesn’t have to tell her anything, and she says she lives at 34 Cherry Lane. He says, that’s here, and she says, this is her house. He yells, mom! Stranger danger!
Lucky says, Cyrus has zero authority to act on the family’s behalf, and Elizabeth says, they’ll figure it out. When Cyrus came to visit Lulu at GH and Lucky’s mom found out, she had him removed from the list. Lucky asks the manager why his mother would ban Cyrus from GH only to turn around and authorize him to act on the family’s behalf, and the manager says, he’ll have to ask the mayor. Their focus is on patient care, not family disputes. Lucky says, Lulu vanished, and no one noticed, and the manager says, they have state of the art security equipment. An orderly listens from outside the door, and Lucky says he wants to see the footage – all of it – up until what happened to his sister.
Cyrus is working at the PC Grill when his phone rings. The orderly says, it’s Joe from Turning Woods. Cyrus’s nephew is here, and he’s upset. Cyrus asks if something happened to Lulu, and Joe says, his niece is missing.
Ric calls Natalia to the stand, and she looks surprised. (Um… wouldn’t she have to know if she was going to testify? What if she hadn’t come to court? I don’t think surprise witness means the witness is the one who’s surprised.)
Gio says, Chase and Brook were in a hurry. It must be a great movie. Olivia says, kicking back and watching a movie is just what they need, and Lois says, they need to take it easy. Gio says he’s going to go practice, and leaves. Olivia and Lois laugh, and Olivia says, Lois is going to be a Nona soon.
Chase and Brook kiss their way to the bed, and Chase says he’s sorry he’s late to make a baby with her. They get busy.
Maxie runs out with a bat in her hand and looks around. She says, James Malcolm West, what is going on? She thought someone was in the house. He says, there was, and she says, she told him not to joke about something like this. He says he’s not. There was a lady in the house. She asks if the lady gave him cookies, but he says he got them from the kitchen. She asks how many he’s had, then says she doesn’t want to know, taking the plate. He says he’s telling the truth. There was a lady in the house. Maxie says, that’s not possible. The doorknob is locked. She goes over to the door, turns the knob, and it opens. Sasha says, it’s not locked, and Maxie asks if James did this. James says, there was a lady standing by the chair, and Maxie and Sasha look outside. Maxie says, this is weird. He doesn’t usually make up stories. She picks up the rock and sees the spare key is gone.
The manager says he’ll call security in the morning, but Lucky says, now. The manager says he’s sorry, but there’s protocol, and Lucky suggests they call the cops. The manager says, they’ve started a search. Lulu was probably sent to the wrong room. Lucky says, their incompetence doesn’t make him feel better. Give him the footage.
Ric asks if Natalia was recently in a car accident, and did she make a 911 call on November 11th? She says, it was earlier in November, and she’ll trust him on the date, and Ric enters her 911 call into evidence. He plays it for the jury and asks if that’s Natalia’s voice. She says, yes, and he asks, who’s the other voice? She says, Kristina Corinthos-Davis, and he says, she and Kristina in a car accident? She says, technically, yes, but they didn’t hit. He asks about Kristina’s emotional state, and she says, Kristina was shaken. He asks if she was rational, and Natalia says, totally. He asks, who caused the accident? and Natalia says she did.
Maxie asks if James promises he didn’t take the key, and he says he promises. Sasha says she’s going to let Maxie handle this, and Maxie says, they’ll talk tomorrow. She doesn’t want Sasha to think she’s on her own. Sasha says she’ll call in the morning, and opens the door. Spinelli is about to come in, and Sasha says, hi… bye, and leaves. Maxie asks James to tell her more about this mysterious stranger, and James tells Spinelli that there was a strange lady here, but mom doesn’t believe him. Maxie says, James is convinced there was an intruder, and James says he promises it’s really true. Maxie says, if the intruder returns the key, she’d appreciate it, and Spinelli says he believes he has a way to solve the mystery.
Lucky storms into the PC Grill, Elizabeth following him, and asks Cyrus, where the hell is his sister?
Gio plays his violin outside, when Lulu comes by. When he finishes the song, she says, it’s a good thing he’s playing not singing it. The high note always trips people up.
Lois tells Olivia not to put the stroller before the baby. Brook isn’t pregnant yet and she doesn’t want to jinx it. Olivia says, it’s only a matter of time. She’s glad Brook did it in the right order, not like she did, but it worked out for the best… She’s sorry. Lois did everything right too. Lois says she thinks she’s learned there’s no right or wrong way to live your life. Everything will work out the way it’s supposed to. Olivia says, one way or the other, and Lois asks if she’s okay. Olivia says she was thinking about Sam, Dante, and the kids. One minute, they were a big happy family, and the next minute, it was all gone. Lois says, it makes you appreciate how fragile and unpredictable life can be, and Olivia says, Brook and Chase are going to live long, happy, healthy lives. And Lois is going to be the second proudest Nona in the world. Lois says, all she wants is for Brook and her grandchildren to be happy, and Olivia says, grandchildren. Monica is going to have to put on another wing.
Chase says, mission accomplished, and Brook says, it’s too early to know if she’s pregnant, but mission definitely accomplished. Promise her something. She never wants making a baby to take precedence over them and for it to feel like a chore. He says, the most important thing is for them to enjoy each other. Everything else will come in time. She says she has another mission, should he choose to accept it, and he says, definitely. They kiss.
Ric reminds Natalia that she’s testifying under oath, and says, she claims the accident was her fault? She says, yes. It was definitely her mistake. He asks her to tell the court what happened, and she says she was driving when she got a text. She’s embarrassed to say, she looked down at it and drifted into oncoming traffic. He says, it must have been important, and she says, it was from her daughter. Their relationship is strained and they’re not speaking, so the text surprised her. He asks why she said she didn’t need emergency services, and she says, they were both fine. He asks if she called anyone else, and she says, Kristina’s dad. He picked her up. He asks if an insurance claim was made, but she says, no. They took care of it themselves. They didn’t want the insurance to go up. He says, of course (🍷). She testified that she caused the near collision and Kristina acted rationally in the aftermath. Natalia says, correct, and he says he has no further questions. The judge asks the prosecution to redirect, but the ADA says she has no questions. The judge tells Natalia that she can step down and asks Ric to call his next witness. He calls Molly Lansing-Davis to the stand.
Spinelli says, the answer is in the palm of his hand, and James says he’s bored. Spinelli says he has the mobile app for a camera he just installed at the front door, and Maxie says, so it records everything outside. They look at the video and see Lulu taking the key. Maxie says, James was right, and James says he tried to tell her. Spinelli says, her hood is covering her face, and Maxie says she knows she owes James an apology, but she needs him to focus and describe the woman. James says, she had blonde hair, and Maxie says, that narrows it down. Spinelli says, James can give the description to the PCPD, and James says he’s going to help crack the case, and runs off.
Lucky says he was just at Turning Woods and Cyrus was the last person spotted with Lulu, and Cyrus says, it’s surprising Lucky showed up. He’s been there to support his niece during these trying times. Lucky says he wants to make it clear. Cyrus is not welcome near his sister. Cyrus says, Lucky’s mother is busy running the city and raising his nephew. Lucky is rarely on the continent, much less at Lulu’s bedside. If he’s not there, who is?
Gio says, no one wants to hear him sing, and Lulu asks if the Quartermaines hired him to play. He says he lives here, and she asks if he’s a Quartermaine. He says, it’s a grey area between guest and extended family. No one has asked him to leave, so he must be doing something right. Lulu says, the way he plays, they should keep him around, and he tells her that Lois said the same thing. She brought him here. She says, Lois Cerullo? She thought Lois lived in Bensonhurst. He says, she did, until last year. He’s answered her questions and now he has one of his own. Who is she? She says she’s sorry she interrupted him, and he asks if she knows where she’s going. He could take her somewhere. She says she appreciates it, but she’s had her fill of stranger danger for one night and they just met.
Ric asks if Molly was with her sister when Kristina was served with the subpoena, and Molly says, yes. He asks, what was Kristina’s reaction? and Molly says, she was not happy. He says, define not happy. Was she angry? ADA Turner objects, leading the witness, and the judge says, sustained. Ric asks if Kristina stated she was planning on testifying, and Molly says, she said she didn’t intend to comply. He asks if she informed Kristina that failure to comply is a punishable offense, and Molly says she did. He asks what Kristina’s reason was for not complying, and she says, Kristina was afraid she would incriminate her father for an unlawful act. He says, her father is Michael Sonny Corinthos, Jr. So Kristina would rather protect her father than state the truth. Molly says, Kristina was set on not testifying, and he asks if Kristina confided her intention to confront Ava. She says, Kristina told her that she was going to get Ava to drop the subpoena. She didn’t specify that she was going to confront Ava. Ric asks what she said and how did Molly respond, and Molly says she warned Kristina not to see Ava. He says, Kristina didn’t take her advice, did she? Why does Molly think that is? Molly says, she was angry, and there are mumbles throughout the courtroom. He says, so Kristina Corinthos-Davis, 38 weeks pregnant with Molly’s child, was aware the subpoena would not be lifted, yet sought out and confronted Ava to protect her father from her testimony. Molly says, yes, and Ric has no further questions.
Ava takes the stand, and Ric says, Kristina arrived at her hotel suite upset. Ava says she understood. Kristina is very protective of her father. He says, Ava subpoenaed her, and she says she believed Kristina would see her obligation to tell the truth and consider what was at stake, the well-being of her half-sister Avery. He asks if Kristina asked her to lift the subpoena, and Ava says, she demanded it. He says, and Ava refused? and she says, yes. He asks about Kristina’s mental state, and Ava says, she was angry. He asks if Kristina made threats, and she says, Kristina threatened to bring up her alleged past transgressions to damage her custody case. He asks how Ava reacted, and Ava says she was upset, but she didn’t wish harm on Kristina’s baby. He asks if Ava laid a hand on Kristina, and she says, yes. They were arguing and Kristina was pushing past her. She reached out and grabbed Kristina’s shoulder, and Kristina pulled away. She lost her balance and tripped. She fell against the window and crashed through it. It was horrific. He asks what she did, and Ava says she went to the window and closed the drapes. He asks if she saw what Kristina tripped over, and she says, a duffel bag belonging to a man she was involved with. He asks if she replaced it with another item, and she says she moved the bag to the other room and replaced it with a pair of shoes. He asks, why? and she says, the man she was involved with was an FBI agent. She didn’t want to draw him into any trouble. He asks if she had any intention of harming Kristina or her child, and she says she could never harm a child. Her own daughter was brutally murdered, and she’d never wish the pain of losing a child on anybody. He says, one last question. Does she have any regrets about that day? She says she regrets that they both thought they had to protect their families. She regrets that their differences weren’t addressed in a courtroom, and deeply regrets that an innocent baby lost her life before she had a chance to live it. She knows it was a tragic accident and for that she has so much regret and sorrow. Ric says he has no further questions.
Lois says, all she wants is one beautiful healthy grandchild, and Olivia says, being a Nona is the best. You get to say yes to everything. That reminds her. She made Rocco his favorite cookies. Lois says she thought Dante didn’t want him eating those, and Olivia asks, what did she just say?
Brook says, that didn’t feel like a chore, and Chase says he’s looking forward to that big, beautiful baby belly. She says, he’s made it clear that he’s excited about Project Baby Bump, and he says he’s excited about everything to come. She says, her blowing up like a balloon, and he says he knows she has the harder part, but when she starts to show, it will feel real. She says, he’s going to be the best father, and he says he’s excited they’re doing this together for the first time. He’s excited about all of it.
Elizabeth says, they were wondering if Cyrus saw anything suspicious at Turning Woods, and Cyrus says he was told Lulu was showing improvement. He was too focused on the good news to notice. He’ll be more vigilant next time. Lucky says, there’s not going to be a next time. He made it clear that Cyrus is to have zero access to his sister going forward. Cyrus says, that’s a mistake. Lulu needs him. Lucky says, Cyrus needs to get it in his head. In no way is he Lulu’s family. Cyrus says, Lucky’s been absent for more than a decade. Now he graces them with his presence and gets to decide who’s family. When he’s spent more than a month with his own child, then they can discuss family.
James wonders when Grandpa Mac is getting here with the police, and Maxie tells him to sit and read. Spinelli says, perhaps James is right, and they should get the police involved. Whoever came in, is out there with the spare key. James flips through a photo album and suddenly says, this is her. The lady who was in the house. Maxie takes the album and sees Lulu’s photo.
Lucky says, it doesn’t matter where he’s been. He’s here now and he’s going to do everything in his power to protect his family. Cyrus says, as will he, and Elizabeth says, getting arrested isn’t going to help. Lucky says he just got the security footage, and he and Elizabeth look at it. They watch as Lulu gets the clothing out of the drawer behind the reception desk, and Lucky says, she’s awake.
It’s time for the closing arguments, and ADA Turner says, by her own admission, the defendant physically struggled with Kristina. She moved the bag Kristina tripped over, restaging the crime scene.She lied about closing the curtain and hid having an affair with an FBI agent. But the biggest lie was that she claimed Kristina Corinthos-Davis’s fall was an accident. The truth is, Ava Jerome got angry, and with intent and malice, pushed Kristina through a third-floor window, causing the death of her baby. Irene Davis-Ashford would still be alive if it weren’t for the actions of Ava Jerome, and for that, the jury must find her guilty of manslaughter.
Ric says, the central fact of the case is, a baby is dead. A baby that was loved and wanted, mourned and grieved. When a tragedy happens, it’s natural to want to blame someone, when often, nobody is at fault. They heard testimony confirming Kristina was angry and out of control. She showed up at Ava’s hotel suite even though she’d been advised that visiting would not result in lifting the subpoena. What was her intention? Both parties admit they were heated and emotional, both intent on protecting their families. They argued, and in that argument, Kristina tripped over a piece of luggage and crashed through window. It’s horrifying and tragic… but not a crime. The prosecution would have them believe Ava was callous and caused the death of another woman’s child, even though she’s gone through that unimaginable loss. He’s sure all parties question their choices that day and if they could have changed course, but that’s why it’s called a tragedy. Random decisions caused the death of a child. It’s only way more tragic if they wrongfully assign blame. There’s enough blame to go around, so they should leave it here today. Call it what it is – an accident, a tragedy – and let the healing begin for all those involved.
The judge says, the jury must agree by unanimous verdict. When they do, notify the bailiff. She asks the bailiff to escort them to the jury room. Ava tells Ric, nice job, and he says he hopes at least one of the jury members agrees. Everyone gets up to leave, and TJ asks what Molly thinks. She says she thinks this was a tragedy.
In the hallway, Kristina says, they can’t fail. The jury has to find Ava guilty and punish her.
Lulu walks into the Quartermaine mansion. She walks through the foyer and into the living room. She hears someone come in, and Rocco says, mom? She turns and sees him and says, Rocco?
Next week, Laura tells Lucky, the only time she would do something is when she was in danger; Lulu tells Rocco, long time, no see; Molly says she’ll do anything for TJ but that; Drew says, the second Jason moves into the Quartermaines, he and Scout are gone; and Kristina asks Sonny to tell her the truth.
🎭 Quite a Life…
I didn’t watch Ryan’s Hope, but I remember seeing her in the Soap Digest. I had no idea how accomplished she was.
According to Heather, the Mormons have two great claims to fame – potato sacks and polygamy. Who knew? While I’ve grown weary of the whining, what stood out in this episode was Robert Jr. confessing to his mother what we’ve known all along – he’s a drug addict. Mary was nothing but compassionate and supportive, and in her interview, she said she was disappointed with herself, having failed him in some way. She said she thought he’d stop at weed and edibles, but was clearly wrong. When she tearfully told him that he could kick his habit and they’d get through this together, it was as real as it gets.
I won a ticket to see this from an online instant win contest. I’m waiting until the dust settles to go though. Fewer kids. I don’t want to feel like I’m in the middle of a school bus during a field trip.
The parade route. I’ve seen it in person twice. Once from the sidewalk in front of the store and once from inside an office building while drinking mimosas. Guess which one was better? Seriously though, you’re better off watching from home. It’s supposed to rain anyway.

Sorry, I missed the beginning, but it’s always just a bit of a rehash. Basically, Drew told Willow that in another time and place, they might have meant something to each other.
Nina tells Michael that, more than anything, she wants a relationship with her daughter and grandchildren. If they continue to be at odds, that won’t happen. That’s enough motivation, but she also loves her job at Crimson, especially after being at The Invader. She’d be an idiot to continue to antagonize Aurora’s CFO. Curtis says, they share family, but they also have a similar work ethic. They’re professionals and damn good at their jobs. Their work is interdependent, they need each other, and Aurora needs them both. Michael says he’s starting to believe that, and he’s willing to put down the past and focus on the here and now. Curtis says, and hopefully, the future, and Michael says, and not just at Aurora. He’s a husband and father, and doesn’t want Willow feeling torn. Whatever she decides, he’s on board. Willow’s happiness is his top priority.
Portia says, while Laura is defending Heather’s rights, how does she know Heather won’t come after Portia’s family? Laura says, the law is for everyone, including the people they hate, but Portia says, it’s not about the law. It’s about Laura feeling bad for a family member who’s locked up. It’s uncomfortable, and sitting in discomfort is hard, but so is fearing for her daughter’s life. Elizabeth comes in and asks if they’ve seen Aiden… Clearly, she’s interrupting. Portia says, Laura’s got backup. Elizabeth came just in time to take her side.
Drew says, that was a rotten thing for him to say, but Willow says, that they might have meant something to each other under different circumstances doesn’t sound rotten. Drew says, it’s a trap when you think of things that might have been. You don’t mess up, and everyone does and says the right things. You don’t doubt your choices. When they met, Willow was already in love with Michael. Willow says she loves Michael so much, she can’t believe she did that, but Drew tells her not to put it all on her. They had a couple of drinks and got caught up in the fireworks and the proximity, and probably a little bit of election enthusiasm. Things happen. She says, it’s not the end of the world, and he says, it’s not even the end of the day. It happened, it’s over, and it will never happen again. Willow says, ever, and Drew says, they’re on the same page. Michael, Curtis, and Nina come in, and Michael says, coincidentally, them too.
Gio joins Trina and Josslyn at the boathouse, and Josslyn asks how the concert was. Gio says, good, and tells them there’s food at the house, but Josslyn says, they’re still full. She offers him a beer, and he asks, how was the barbecue? Josslyn says, eventful. Drew Quartermaine announced he was running for congress. Gio says he thought it was Cain, and Trina says, it was, 24 hours ago. Her dad said Quartermaine has a higher recognition factor. Josslyn says, Drew brought back the mayor and the congressman, but it wasn’t all business. There were friends and family there. Gio asks why Sonny wasn’t here and wonders why he wasn’t invited. Josslyn says, maybe he was and didn’t come. Gio would have to ask the Quartermaines.
Cody says he wants to be part of Mac’s family, but Mac says, he has an interesting way of showing it. Cody says he didn’t know how to tell Mac, and Mac says, so he actively lied. Cody says he’s not proud of it, and Mac says, what upsets him most was that Cody felt he couldn’t be honest. The worst part is that he lied to Felicia. He lied to Maxie, Georgie, James, and Bailey Lou. Everyone he claimed to give a damn about. Cody says he loves them, but Mac says, if he did, he wouldn’t treat them like that. Cody asks if it helps that it was killing him. He’s eternally sorry. Mac says, it doesn’t help. He doesn’t trust Cody. For all he knows, it’s just another lie. He walks away.
Portia says, Heather was Elizabeth’s mother-in-law. Of course (🍷) she agrees with Laura. Laura says, this conversation is over, and Portia says she’ll leave them with this. Heather Webber is a serial killer, and she has every reason to believe Trina was her target. If Laura thinks she’s going to allow Trina to be at risk again and continues to try and set Heather free, the next conversation they have will be in public. She walks out.
Drew says, he and Willow were just watching the fireworks and talking politics. What’s up? Curtis says, they had an impromptu meeting about Aurora, and Nina says, they’re putting aside their differences and moving forward. Michael says, it’s time to move forward, and Nina says, everything is aboveboard, and their agendas have been put to bed. Willow says, it’s a relief to hear that, and Drew says, it feels like a new beginning, a new era, a clean slate. Nina says, with endless possibilities, and Drew asks how this came about. Curtis says, in order to move smoothly, the CFO of Aurora and the Editor-in-Chief of Crimson need to be in the for same room more than two minutes. Portia runs in and tells Curtis that she needs to go home.
Elizabeth says she doesn’t think she’s ever seen Portia so angry, and Laura says she understands. She went through hell with Heather, then Esme, and is genuinely concerned about her daughter. Elizabeth says, Esme is gone, and strange as it is, Heather’s situation has changed. Laura says, thank God she can see that. Portia can’t and it surprised her. Elizabeth says, why? Because she’s a doctor? Laura says, Portia knows Heather was sick and knows the medical ramifications. She was there when they were figuring it out, but she won’t consider the possibility that once the poison left Heather’s body, she’s no longer as dangerous. Elizabeth says, it’s easier for Laura to see. All Portia sees is a monster who tried to hurt her child. It’s like her experience with Franco. She could look past the tumor, but his victims couldn’t and never forgave him. Laura says, she thinks Portia is the same way, but Elizabeth says she hopes not. She hopes Portia realizes she’s asking questions only the court can answer. It’s not up to them. That’s why they have laws. It’s supposed to be justice for all. Laura says, that’s all she’s been saying, and thanks Elizabeth for hearing it. Elizabeth hugs Laura and says she’s proud of her, and so are her grandkids. She leaves, and Laura wipes tears from her eyes.
Maxie goes to the stable and asks if Cody has seen James’s riding gloves. He needs them for his next lesson. He’s obsessed and keeps asking everyone to watch. He even asked the grocery bagger. Cody says he doesn’t think he should keep giving James lessons, and she asks, why not? Did he say or do something? Cody says, it’s nothing like that, and Maxie says, he can’t take the lessons away from her. It’s her only leverage. He says, Mac is furious with him, and she says, her Mac? That doesn’t sound like him. Cody says, he’s our Mac, and Maxie says, explain please. Cody says he’s been lying to all of them. He’s Mac’s son. Maxie says, but the DNA test… and Cody says he lied. Maxie says she can see it, and he says he totally lied and now Mac knows the truth. She says, now Mac is unhappy, but Cody says, that’s a massive understatement.
Gio says, it’s his first boathouse party, and Trina says she hopes not his last. He tells them, keep inviting him and he’ll keep showing up, and Josslyn asks what they do in Bensonhurst on the 4th. Gio says, they have a huge block party. Everyone within 10 blocks is a Cerullo or a Falconari. They’re big Italian families. Trina asks if his mom was from Italy, and he says, she was. It was her proudest moment to officially become a citizen. She told him to never take it for granted and he never does. Neither do his relatives. That’s why the 4th is a big deal. Trina says, it means something to his family.
Curtis asks if everything is okay, and Porta says she just needs to go home. Curtis tells Drew, congrats again, and Portia says, if he wants her vote, he needs to pledge to keep Heather Webber in prison, no matter what the mayor has to say. She and Curtis leave, and Willow says, Portia is a mom and entitled to her feelings. She tells Michael that she’s exhausted and suggests they round up the kids, but Michael says, the kids are staying here, so they can head back to the gatehouse when she’s ready. Willow says she’s happy Nina and Michael made up and Nina is helping with the campaign. It’s nice being on the same side again. Nina says she couldn’t agree more, and Willow leaves with Michael, glancing at Drew on her way out the door.
Felicia says she’s been looking everywhere for Mac. What’s wrong? Mac says, Cody is his son, but she says, no, he’s not. He says, yes, he is, but she says, he can’t be. She did her own DNA test. She’ll explain the details later. Mac says, Cody must have doctored the results and lied the first time. She asks how he knows, and he says, Cody confessed to him. She says, he’s known all this time? and Mac says, and he never said a word. Cody gave him some convoluted excuse, but he was barely listening. She asks how he feels, and he says he’s furious. He has a son. Cody knew it and lied about it on purpose. She was right about him. He’s nothing but a grifter and must have some agenda for it coming to light now. She says, he really doesn’t think Cody needs a kidney or points removed from his driver’s license, but Mac says he can’t think of another reason. Can she?
Mac says, maybe Cody doesn’t need an internal organ, but he’s coming from some kind of angle. Felicia says, Cody is his kid, but Mac says, on paper only. Felicia says, it’s Cody’s loss. It’s sad really. Mac says he would have welcomed Cody to the family, and Felicia says, he did. Mac says, it would have taken adjusting, but he would have found a way to love him. Felicia says, of course (🍷), and Mac says, now it’s too late for that.
Maxie says she feels her brain melting. Why did Cody lie? Mac is the best father in the whole world. Cody says, at first, he thought he wanted money more than family. Pathetic, he knows. By the time he changed his mind, he didn’t know how to take back the lie. Maxie says, tell the truth? and Cody says he was afraid Mac would hate him, and guess what? He was right. Maxie says, Mac is upset. He doesn’t hate Cody. Cody says he wants her to know that he’s sorry he messed this up. They’re all a terrific family. She says, especially her. She’s a fantastic sister. He says, they’re not related, but she says, Mac is her father and that makes Cody her brother, and her kids his nieces and nephew. Cody says he loved teaching James, and Maxie says, when James finds out Cody is Mac’s son, he’s going to be over the moon. He tells her to hold off telling him until she talks to Mac. James is a good rider, and you can’t beat his enthusiasm. He wants her to know that he’s grateful for all their time together. She says she sees what he’s doing. If he thinks he’s going to get rid of them that easily, think again.
Gio says, it’s not just patriotic. It’s a reason for everyone to get together. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the same, but it’s cold. On the 4th, they’re all hanging out in the street. Josslyn asks if he’s been to the soft serve truck, and Trina says, it’s easy to overlook, but there’s nothing like it. Josslyn says, it’s usually parked by Rice Park. All they have is chocolate and vanilla in cones, but there’s nothing like a classic cone on a hot day. Trina says, it’s her afternoon treat when she’s at work, and Gio asks if there are any other Port Charles traditions he should know about. Josslyn says, one is about to start, the Country Club fireworks. Now that he’s done playing, he can relax and enjoy the view. He says, the company’s not bad either.
Curtis asks, what’s going on? and Portia says she had a chat with Laura. As long as Laura continues to help Heather to go free, she’s the enemy. And so is anybody who supports her, including Drew and the Quartermaines. (Ugh. I hate when Portia puts her self-righteous hat on. She also has a habit of what my dad called, crying before you’re hurt, and it’s annoying.)
Curtis says, to be clear, he wants Heather to stay locked up until the end of time and he’ll advocate for that, but it’s not his call. No more than it is hers. Portia asks why he’s not angry, and he asks, what good would it do? He’s on her side, but regardless of how they feel, it’s the court’s decision, not theirs. She says, that sounds like spin. Trina is his daughter. Doesn’t he care? Curtis says, it’s one thing for her to fight Heather. It’s another thing to fight him. She knows he wants his daughter to stay safe. She says, he’s not the one she’s mad at. She’s sorry. They hug.
Gio, Trina, and Josslyn watch the fireworks, and Gio says, beautiful. Trina asks how they rate compared to Bensonhurst, and he says, these are tame. She asks if he misses home, and he says he misses his family of course (🍷) and his neighborhood, where he knows everyone, and everyone knows him. But he needed a change, to try something new. He likes Port Charles. It’s the perfect fit. Josslyn lifts her beer bottle and says, to finding your place. Trina says, and making new friends, and the three of them clink beer bottles.
Maxie says, admit it. In Cody’s mind, he’s packing and saying his goodbyes. Don’t do it. He says he doesn’t see what choice he has, and she says, stay. She’s had lots of experience with huge lies and life wrecking mistakes. Running just makes it worse. She once pretended to be pregnant to get a guy to be in a relationship with her. She’ll tell him about it sometime. He needs to stay and process. Give Mac time and them time to adjust. Don’t leave, for Mac and Sasha and mostly himself. Promise. He says, okay, but she says she needs him to say the words. He says he promises, but she says, too vague. What exactly is he promising? He says, not to leave, and she says, he won’t regret it. He gives her James’s riding gloves and she leaves.
Nina asks Drew if she was dreaming just now. She never thought the day would come. He says he’s happy for her, and she says, maybe she’ll get to spend time with Wiley and Amelia, be part of the family, and he says, it’s looking that way. She thanks him with tears in her eyes, and says, he built a bridge between her and her daughter. She’ll be forever grateful. He says, she’s welcome and they kiss. (Wow. Is this getting messy or what?)
Sasha is having a glass of wine and sees Michael and Willow outside on the patio. Willow says, it’s a beautiful night, and Michael tells Willow that she’s gorgeous. They kiss, and Sasha watches, flashing back to seeing Willow and Drew kissing.
Tomorrow, Sasha says, if Cody leaves, he’ll have a lot more than Maxie to worry about; Felicia wants to be wrong; and Ava says she’ll do what she wants.

Dex tells Josslyn that he has to say goodbye. He’s so sorry. She asks why he sounds like he’s leaving, and he says, because he is.
Sasha walks into the Home & Heart studio, and flashes back to when she was there last time. She introduces herself to a PA, who says her name is Julie, but they met last time. Sasha apologizes, but Julie says, there was a lot going on. Sasha says, that’s one way of putting it, and Julie asks how she’s doing. Sasha says she’s doing okay, and Julie welcomes he back, handing her a production schedule. Sasha asks if it’s cool if she goes on set to check everything, but Haven aka Morgan Fairchild tells her, no, it’s not cool. If Sasha thinks she’s going to work with someone as unstable as she is, she really is crazy.
Scotty asks N’neka for another martini, and Gladys comes to the bar. N’neka asks if she’d like another round, and Gladys says she’s done with seltzer. Scotch, straight up. She had to stay sharp up until now, for all the good it did her. Scotty looks the other way, and Gladys says, rude, when Cody comes out. He tells Gladys, that was an epic crash and burn, and she says, go away. He says, she’s in for a lot of cash. What’s the game plan? Does she have another garage she’s going to secretly sell? Gladys says, he cheated, but he says he didn’t even need to cheat. She’s a lousy poker player whose luck ran out a long time ago.
Anna arrives home, and hears something, so she draws her gun.
Sonny asks if something happened with Willow, but Michael says, she’s hanging in there; handling the chemo as well as can be expected. Sonny says, that’s good, and asks what brings him by. Michael says he needs things to change before it’s too late.
Anna scans the living room, when Valentin comes out of the kitchen. He says, don’t shoot, and she asks, why? He’s an intruder. He says, one that cooks, and kisses her.
Nina sees Drew at the hospital, and says she’s glad she ran into him. He rescued Aunt Liesl, and because of that, Willow now has a fighting chance. She’s really grateful. She thanks him, and he says she’s welcome. He’s really glad this is happening for Willow. All that’s left to do now is pray. She says she’s on it. Is everything okay, or… He says, since the SEC dragged him out of here? and she says, yeah, that.
Gladys thanks N’neka for the drink, when Mac and Felicia walk in. Felicia wonders if they should say hello, but he says he’d better not. Ever since he arrested Cody at the Nurses Ball, things have been tense between them.
Gladys excuses herself and Cody goes over to Scotty, who tells Cody to keep his grubby, sticky fingers off his wallet. Cody says he did not steal that damn bracelet; he was set up. Scotty says, by who? (It’s whom, Scotty) and Cody says, if Scotty agrees to represent him, he’ll tell Scotty. Scotty turns back to his martini.
Felicia and Mac sit at a table, and Felicia says she’s worried about Maxie. She sounded just awful on the phone. Mac says, at least she got someone to fill in for her. Who was it anyway? She tells him, Maxie didn’t say.
Haven says, this was not their agreement. Where is Maxie Jones? Sasha says, Maxie is sick, and asked her to fill in. She explained all of this to Haven’s producer. Haven says, no one told her, but Sasha says, her audience is going to love The Deceptor, and she’s more than capable of co-hosting the segment. Brook joins them, and tells Haven that she’s looking at the Face of Deception. Haven yells for someone to get her Russell – now. She leaves, and Sasha thanks Brook for the assist. She asks what Brook is doing here. She doesn’t work for Deception anymore. Brook says, Maxie didn’t tell Sasha? She’s back.
Josslyn asks where Dex is going, but he says he doesn’t know. He’s sorry, but he can’t stay in Port Charles. She says, of course (🍷) he can, but he says, not anymore. She says, the video of Sonny doing the Pikeman deal, the footage of Sonny breaking the law, he gave it to Michael, right? Then it’s only a matter of time. Willow will get the transplant, she’ll be fine. Then Michael will give the video to the Feds, and Sonny will be arrested. He says, Michael’s not turning Sonny in. Sonny’s not going to prison. She says, since when? and he says, since Michael backed out of their deal.
Michael thanks Sonny for throwing the SEC off Drew’s trail. It gave him time to find Liesl and bring her back home. He and Willow are forever grateful. Sonny says he’s just glad it all worked out, and Willow’s going to get the bone marrow transplant. Michael says, that’s why he’s here. Willow asked him to call off the war between them. Sonny says, it was never his war, and Michael says, she wanted Sonny to have a place in the lives of the people he loves. Sonny asks if Michael thinks he can do that, and Michael says, for Willow, and for his family; yes.
Sasha says she’s confused. Last week, Brook said she needed to be freed up to follow her passion. Brook says she realized it was a mistake. She loves this company, and there’s no reason why she can’t have it all, right? Music and Deception; she’ll make the time. Sasha says, that’s awesome, and welcomes her back. Lucy arrives, and says, it’s sweet of Brook to come support Sasha today, and Brook says, that’s what teammates do. Lucy asks if they joined some sort of sports team together, but Brook says, the Deception team. Lucy says she’s not following, but Sasha says, Brook is back at Deception. She already spoke to Maxie. Lucy says she just spoke to Maxie two minutes ago, and she didn’t mention anything about it, and Brook says, Maxie must have not realized it in her feverish state. Anyway, today isn’t about her. It’s about Sasha and her big comeback. Lucy asks if Sasha is absolutely sure she’s ready for all of this.
Walking with Russell, Haven says, the last time Sasha Gilmore was on this show, it was a disaster. She thought a doll was her dead baby. Russell says, that was almost a year ago. Maxie assured him that Sasha is strong enough. Besides, if she did freak out on camera, would that really be so bad? Their ratings were at an all-time high after Sasha’s breakdown. It reminded their viewers that anything can happen on live TV. Haven says, their ratings have been a little sluggish lately. Maybe they could make this work to their advantage. Uh… Not buying this. Maybe on a reality show, but not home shopping.
Scotty says, Cody wants his representation? and Cody says, should be an easy day, considering he’s innocent. Scotty tells him, says you, but unfortunately, Cody can’t afford him. Cody says he’s got 10K in his pocket that says otherwise, and Scotty says, that’s pocket money, so, no. Cody says, okay, fine. 20K. Scotty says he’s not interested, and walks away from the bar.
Felicia says she knew Mac had an ulterior motive. Not only did he say he’d come tonight, he picked The Savoy as well. He says he loves Holly, and of course (🍷) he wants to celebrate her safe return. What better place to do it at? She asks why they’re really here, when Scotty comes by, and says, two of his favorite people, pulling up a chair. Felicia says, since when? and Scotty says, mind if he joins them? He sits down, and Mac asks what they can do for him. Scotty says, for starters, why is Holly Sutton running around chloroforming people when she should be in a burn unit in Europe?
Nina says she’s sorry this is happening to Drew, and he says, it’s an ongoing investigation, and other than that, he’s uncomfortable discussing it with her. She says, understood, and he asks if she’s here to see Willow. She says, don’t worry. She’s not going into Willow’s room. The last thing she wants to do is upset Willow or Michael. She just feels better being close by. Has he ever wanted to go back in time for a redo? He says, once or twice, and she says, there’s a lot of things she would change. She loves her daughter. He says he believes that, and she says, all she wants is for the transplant to be a success so Willow can go back to her family. He says, a family Nina would love to be a part of, and she says, desperately.
Michael says, Willow made him see that by rejecting Sonny, he’s forcing some of his siblings to choose, and Sonny says, Donna and Avery? Michael says, Krissy too, to an extent. Dante’s the only one who can truly navigate this. It’s not fair to the rest of his siblings. He can tell them to have their own relationship with Sonny, but those are just words. Sonny says, what about Wiley and Baby Amelia? Does Michael feel the same way when it comes to them? Michael says, his kids should be able to know and spend time with their grandfather, and their aunts and uncles who love Sonny. That’s more important than his anger, so for the good of his family, he wants peace.
Josslyn asks Dex, Michael backed down? Of all the ways this could have gone down, Michael pulling the plug is probably the last one she expected. He says, him too, and she asks how Michael could do this to him. Dex says, Michael did it for Josslyn, and she asks what that means. He says, Michael did it for all of them. Michael doesn’t want Sonny going away to cause a permanent rift in the family, and it would have. She says, of course (🍷) it would have, but she thought they all agreed it was worth it. What is happening? This is so wrong. He says, it doesn’t matter. Right, wrong, whatever; Michael isn’t going to change his mind. She says she can’t believe this, and he says, this is the situation, and these are his options. He has to go. She says, then she’s going with him, but he says, no, she’s not.
Felicia says, the explosion at the hunting cabin was staged, and Scotty asks why Holly stole the Ice Princess necklace in the first place. Felicia says, because Victor ordered her to, and Mac says, he needed to find Mikkos’ hiding place in Greenland. Scotty says, those Cassadines. They like to keep things interesting, don’t they? If Holly survived this fake explosion, did the necklace survive as well? Felicia says, they wanted Victor to think it was destroyed while Holly figured out where Victor was holding Ethan, and Scotty asks where the necklace is now. Mac says, they don’t know. It was lost when the WSB sank the Haunted Star. Scotty says, that necklace is worth about 35 million clams, but Mac says, it’s worth nothing now that it’s gone. Scotty looks over at Cody.
Julie tells Haven, she’s on her way, and Haven says, excellent. She asks Russell, is it done? and he says, everyone on their social media is talking about Sasha’s appearance tonight and speculating what could possibly go wrong. She says, that’ll get them watching, and when they watch, they buy.
Sasha says she knows the last time she was here, she almost tanked the company, but Lucy says she’s worried about Sasha, not the company. She thinks it’s brave of Sasha to step up and take Maxie’s place, but if she’s not ready, she doesn’t have to do this. Lucy could do this segment in her sleep. Sasha thanks Lucy, and says, Lucy’s support means everything to her, but she’s the Face of Deception, and she’s a partner in the business. She really wants to pull her weight. Brook asks how it feels to be back here, and Sasha says, it was a little overwhelming at first, but she’s all right now. She keeps telling herself, this is an entirely different situation. She was self-medicating back then, she was deep in her grief for Liam, and then to be asked to model a baby carrier… Brook says, out of nowhere, and Sasha says she wasn’t prepared. Lucy says, no one would have been prepared. What they did was absolutely awful, but look how far she’s come. She’s doing so good, and Lucy is so proud of her. Brook says, if anyone tries to interrupt Sasha’s segment tonight, she’ll tackle them, and Sasha says she’d love to see that. They see Flora on the set, and Flora asks what on earth Sasha is doing here.
Selina says, the cards weren’t in Gladys’s favor tonight, and Gladys says she thought she had a strong enough hand, but then that damn Cody Bell with his flush. Selina says, Mr. Bell had luck on his side, and Gladys says, either that or he’s a cheater, but Selina says, no one cheats in the backroom. Gladys says, of course (🍷). She should be getting home. Selina says, not until they’ve discussed how she’s paying back the money she owes.
Scotty tells Cody, change of plans. He will represent him. Cody says he thought Scotty told him it wasn’t enough, and Scotty says, it’s chump change compared to what they’re going to get. He orders another martini.
Anna asks, what’s going on in her kitchen? It smells amazing. Valentin says his sauce is simmering, and he recently uncorked a bottle of very posh chianti. He’d like to let it breathe, but something tells him that she could use a glass. She says, just fill it to the brim please, and he asks, how was the briefing? She says, it went on forever. She feels like somewhere in the metaverse, she’s still answering questions. They wanted to know everything about Greenland, and Valentin’s father, and the pathogen… She’s very tired. He hands her the glass, and she says she just wants to drink wine and fall asleep in his arms. He says, that’s all? and she says, it depends on how good his pasta is. He kisses her, and the doorbell rings. She says, just ignore them, and they’ll go away, but it continues to ring insistently. She says, there are only two people who ring her doorbell like that. One is Obrecht, and the other is… She opens the door, and we say it together, Robert. Robert walks in, and says, word of advice. The next time she wants to pretend she’s not home, don’t leave the lights on.
Dex says, obviously, the idea of running away with Josslyn sounds amazing, but he has no one. She says, he has her, but he says, she knows what he means. He has no friends or family to fall back on. It’s just him and his skill set. She has this incredible family that not only loves her, they need her. Wiley and Amelia are the sweetest, and Wiley hero worships her. She thinks Wiley was more impressed by Dex, but he says he’s just some guy who used to be a soldier. She’s his Aunt Joss, who’s going to be a doctor. He can’t possibly be to her what she is to him. It would be incredibly selfish of him to say yes. She doesn’t need him as much as he needs her. She says she does need him though, but he says, she likes him and wants him, but she has so much else going on in her life – and that’s a good thing. If she came with him, it would be exciting at first; new identities, new lives… She says, they could make it work, and he says, for a while. Until one day she wakes up and realizes she doesn’t want to be a waitress named Trixie. She says she’d never pick the name Trixie, and he says, she’ll realize she misses her friends and her family; that she misses her life. And that will be his fault.
Selina says, Gladys gambled what she came in with, then dipped into Selina’s bank for $85,000. Gladys says she’s good for it, and Selina says she should hope so. Gladys asks if they can discuss a payment plan, but Selina says, she knows the rules. When players borrow from the house, payment is due at the end of the night. Gladys says she doesn’t have that kind of money at her fingertips, and Selina says, Sasha Gilmore does, and doesn’t Gladys control her daughter-in-law’s finances?
Flora says she’s so sorry. She had no idea she’d be seeing Sasha tonight. Lucy says, the feeling is very, very mutual, and Brook asks if one of her products is being featured. Flora says, a new line of bath salts called Change Your Moody. The little ones just love it, and the moms… Sasha says, it’s okay. Flora can talk about motherhood and babies in front of her. She’s so sorry for her behavior last time. Flora tells her, don’t you dare apologize. She felt terrible for Sasha and for the role she played, however unwittingly, in it all. Which begs the question, why would she of all people be asked to participate tonight? Brook looks at her phone, and says, because someone is trying to push Sasha over the edge.
Cody says, so Leopold’s necklace wasn’t destroyed in that explosion? and Scotty says, no, but due to the WSB’s itchy trigger finger, the jewels went to the bottom of the ocean. Cody says, so he’s back where he started, but Scotty says, that’s where he’s wrong because the necklace is part of Dominique’s estate, meaning Cody and Serina are owed a portion of that money. Cody says he agrees 100%, but regardless of how the necklace was lost, it’s still gone, and Scotty says, the WSB is the reason his and Serina’s big payoff went the way of the Titanic. Cody says, so Scotty is telling him… Scotty says, they sue the WSB.
Drew says he knows Nina thinks Carly is the reason she doesn’t have a relationship with Willow, but Nina says she actually just spoke with Carly about that… Drew says, obviously the reason was her treating Willow like dirt because Nina didn’t like her. Everything changed when Nina found out they were mother and daughter, but everything didn’t change for Willow. Nina says she gets it, and she’s given Willow more than one reason to be untrusting of her, but for the first time, her daughter asked something of her. Willow wants her to stop fighting with Carly, and Nina wants to give that to her, but she doesn’t know how to do it. If they could just start fresh… He says, Nina has to accept that’s just not an option.
Sonny says, peace is what he’s wanted, but he appreciates Michael meeting him halfway. Michael says he gives Willow credit, but Sonny says, it takes Michael too. He shouldn’t be surprised if Michael stepped up for the greater good. That’s why he gave Avery back at the end; he didn’t want to tear the family apart. Michael says, so they have an understanding, and Sonny says, when it comes to Michael’s siblings, and his kids, yeah, but what about when it comes to Nina?

Dex asks Josslyn to talk to him, but she doesn’t know what to say. Dex tells her to say what she’s feeling, and she says she feels conflicted. Is she ready to give up all of her life to be with him? Is she ready to say that? He says he’d be worried if she wasn’t, and she says, but she likes him… a lot, and he says he likes her too. She says she wants to see where it could go. She doesn’t want this to be over, and she doesn’t want him to leave. But she really doesn’t want him to die, and doesn’t want him to spend the rest of his life in prison. He says, those are two possibilities if he stays in Port Charles, and she says, so yeah, she understands… conceptually. He needs to go, and probably should, but the thought of losing him hurts, and when she’s hurt, she gets very scared and anxious. He says he doesn’t want to lose her either, and pulls her close.
Watching Scotty and Cody talk at the bar, Mac says, it looks like Scotty is going to represent Cody, and Felicia asks if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Mac says, for all his faults, Scotty’s a decent defense attorney, and she asks if that means he wants Cody to beat the charges. His phone rings, and he says, it’s the department. She says she’ll give Holly his regrets, and Mac leaves the table.
Gladys says she won’t steal from Sasha, but Selina asks if she didn’t already cross that line when Gladys sold her Brando’s garage. Gladys says, exactly; sold. She didn’t give it away. Selina says, they both know she didn’t pay market price, but Gladys says she can’t do that to Sasha again. Selina says, then they would appear to have a problem, and walks away.
Cody tells Scotty, the only thing they know is that the necklace belonged to Taub. They don’t know if he gave it to Dominique outright. Scotty says, either way, the money is Cody’s – and his sister Serina, who he’s going to share it with, right? Cody says, absolutely. Where do they start? Scotty tells Cody to come by his office tomorrow. He’ll have an affidavit for Cody to sign confirming he’s Taub and Dominique’s son. Cody looks over at Mac, giving Felicia a kiss goodbye.
Brook reads: the Face of Deception returns to H&H. Meltdown part two; stay tuned. Hashtag: Home&Heart. Home & Heart is implying Sasha is going to have another meltdown tonight on the air to get people to watch. Flora says, that’s despicable. She refuses to be part of a disgusting set-up. Lucy says, Haven and her producers better buckle up, because she’s about to take off, but Sasha grabs her arm, and says, don’t. Brook says, Sasha can’t be okay with this, and Sasha says, the more people watching, the more people view The Deceptor. It’s free publicity. Flora says, it’s exploiting Sasha’s mental health. Haven is obviously trying to rattle Sasha. Why else would she be here? They should just call the whole thing off. Sasha says, no. Haven is betting against her. Time to show her that she’s making a huge mistake.
Sonny says, Nina is part of his life. She’s not going anywhere. Michael says he understands that. He can even respect that, but he needs Sonny to respect the fact that Willow needs to decide what kind of relationship, if any, she wants to have with Nina. Sonny says, that’s fair, and Michael asks if he can get Nina to back off; help her understand that Willow is fighting for her life. Sonny says, nobody knows that better than Nina, and Michael says he’s asking Sonny to get her to stop pressuring Willow. I’m not understanding this, since she hasn’t been doing that, but okay. Sonny says he can’t tell Nina how to deal with her own daughter any more than someone can tell him how to deal with his. He has to give her that courtesy. Michael asks if he can at least not advocate for Nina, and not pressure him or Willow, and Sonny asks if Michael feels pressured. Michael says, openly, Sonny is too smart for that, but they both know he’s good at getting what he wants. Sonny shakes his head, and says he agrees to let Nina and Willow figure out their relationship on their own. Can Michael do the same? Michael says he can live with that, and Sonny nods. Michael says he should get back to GH. Sonny says, if Willow needs anything – and he means anything – he’s here. Michael thanks him, and Sonny says he’ll see Michael at the hospital tomorrow, and he wants Michael to know, they’ll keep their distance, but they don’t want to be kept from their family.
Nina asks if Drew thinks Carly will never forgive him, but Drew says he’s saying, you can’t erase the past, or wish it away. A quick fix doesn’t apply in this case, and to assume it does sabotages the future Nina says she wants. She follows him to the elevator, and says she does want it. He asks if she’s willing to work for it, and she says, whatever it takes. He says she’s got to be honest with herself, and he means really honest. And with everybody else, she has to acknowledge her mistakes, and maybe they’ll find a place for her in their lives. He goes into the elevator.
Josslyn tells Dex, stay. They’ll figure something out. He says, even if it means he continues working for Sonny? and she says, for now. Together, they’ll come up with a solution. Don’t give up on us. He says, okay. He can’t imagine never seeing her again. He’ll stay. She hugs him, and says, they’ll think of something, she promises.
Cody asks if an affidavit is really necessary, and Scotty says, it’s important they establish Cody is Leopold Taub’s son. Felicia looks at her phone, and says, no, no, no. This is horrible. Cody asks, what’s wrong? and Felicia says, Sasha is going to be on Home & Heart tonight, and they’re promoting it by suggesting she’s going to have another breakdown. Cody says, he’s got to… and Scotty grabs him, saying, he’s still on board, right? Cody says, yeah, he’ll call Scotty tomorrow, and jets.
Gladys asks Selina how she’s supposed to get all that money together so quickly. It’s impossible. Selina says, there might be another way for Gladys to repay her debt. Well, we know it’s not by being a card shark.
On the Home & Heart set, Flora asks Sasha if she’s sure about this. They can bail at any time. Sasha says she’s sure, and Haven asks Julie if everything is set. Julie says, they’re a go, and Haven walks onto the set, saying, Flora, darling, what a lovely surprise. Flora says, is it though? and Haven asks what she means. Flora says, they both know exactly what she means. You little… The stage manager says, five, four, three, two, one, action, and Haven welcomes everyone back to Home & Heart. She introduces herself, and says, tonight she has two very special guests: Flora Gardens and Sasha Gilmore. Sasha thanks Haven for having her, and says, her viewers are in for a treat. Haven says she hopes so.
Anna tells Robert that she just got off of a long flight. She’s very tired and it would be great if he wasn’t here. He picks up the bottle of wine, and she says, or she supposes he could just help himself to a glass of wine. He pours a glass, and says, it’s nice to see Valentin made it out all in one piece. Valentin says, thanks to the lovely Anna, and Robert says he heard all about the heroics – he nearly drains the glass – dashing into the chamber of death to save his sorry carcass – again. Valentin says, they take turns. Sometimes she saves him; sometimes he saves her. Sometimes they get trapped together, and they like to mix it up. Robert says, next time, do it by himself, and leave Anna out of it, and Anna says she chose to go on the rescue mission. Valentin says, as much fun as this is, he has to put the pasta on, and Robert says he likes his al dente. Valentin says he has no idea why he’d need to know that, and goes into the kitchen. Anna says, Robert needs to stop. She knows what he’s going to say. He says, good. Let’s say it together. Anna Devane, what were you thinking?
Michael comes out of Sonny’s office, and Sonny says he’s going to light a candle for Willow. Michael says, Willow will appreciate that… and he does too. He’ll see Sonny tomorrow. Sonny says, tomorrow, and Michael leaves.
Haven says, this is Sasha’s first television appearance since last year, and Sasha says, it is. Haven asks how she’s holding up, and Sasha says she’s fantastic, and she’s thrilled to introduce Deception’s newest product, The Deceptor. Flora says she’s still using her Deception products, and just loves them, and Sasha says she’s happy to hear that. Haven says, but it must have been a trying year for Sasha, but Sasha ignores her, and says, and now meet The Deceptor wand. Flora asks what it does, and Sasha says she’s glad Flora asked. It will help any woman at any age look her absolute best. Flora says, they could all use that, is she right? Haven says, absolutely, and a baby’s cry comes through Sasha’s earpiece.
Tomorrow, Carly says, Nina will have to do it on Willow’s terms; Haven tells Sasha, all eyes are on her; Robert asks if Anna shouldn’t be putting her family first; and Felicia asks if Holly is back in Port Charles for good.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht
Daisy cries in the bathroom as primary John looks for her. In her interview, she says she’s so frustrated, if didn’t cry, she’d set the boat on fire. The last thing she wants is another complaint. Gary radios that the guests decided to wait another half hour before going to the beach, and Daisy says, it’s more time for Lucy to do nothing. On the beach, Lucy and Alex do yoga poses. In Madison’s interview, she says, Daisy seems stressed, and she wants to help the situation. Alex tells Lucy that when they get to the beach, they’ll find two skeletons in pink shirts. The guests are finally ready, and Gary radios that they’re coming. He drops the guests off, and goes back for the food. The guests play football, while on the boat, Ileisha gets whole fish instead of the fillet she wanted. In Ileisha’s interview, she says doesn’t mind fileting a fish, but a giant monkfish is going to take her whole prep time. She hopes the primary is going to be happy. Some of the beach food is chicken wings, and Lucy finds there was no bowl packed to put the bones in. In Alex’s interview, he says he feels bad for Lucy. It’s a no brainer to pack a bowl for bones. Somebody is dropping the ball. Young guest Jacob takes a spill backward in his beach chair, taking the wings with him, and John says, it all ended up on the ground anyway. Lucy texts Daisy that John is complaining, and Daisy says she’s so over this. She tells Glenn that John has been complaining a lot.
John says, the beach excursion like when you’re at a nice resort, and want to go to town, but then when you get to town, you want to go back to the resort. Gary thinks it’s not that stressful, and in Daisy’s interview, she says, Gary is in his own . At the end of the day, complaints come back to the interior. He doesn’t give a sh*t how she feels. Gary radios that the guests want to head back, and Daisy says she hates people and hates her life. Lucy tells Alex, she’s glad they enjoyed it – she didn’t. Ileisha cuts her finger open, and in her interview, she says she should know better. She’s no stranger to injuries when she’s rushing. She nearly cut her thumb off one time, and had to go to the hospital. You have to suck it up, and shake it off. She puts a glove on over her bandage, and moves on to making pasta dough. Gary harasses Chase about not being on time, and in Chase’s interview, he says, the time isn’t what Gary told him yesterday. Even when he’s right, he’s wrong. Lucy tells Daisy about having to pick chicken wings out of the sand, and Daisy says she’s pissed at the boys. It feels out of control. John tells Daisy that they’re celebrating his book release tonight, but he has awards to give everyone else. He gives her certificates to fill out for him, and Glenn puts up the sails. Things start falling, and Ileisha says, not the beans. John says, they’ve arrived in life, and Gary tries to sweettalk Mads, but in her interview, she says she thinks he’s got the wrong one. The affection and love bombing are cringy to her. Gary doesn’t get her at all. Daisy tells Gary about the awards ceremony, and he offers to emcee. Guest Lauren asks if they have a steamer, and Lucy takes two dresses to steam. As Lucy is using the steamer, it melts off part of a dress, and Lucy says, her mum would be so disappointed in her.
Lucy says, Lauren’s husband got stitches, and now she’s ruined Lauren’s f***ing dress. Since she’s trying to take a shower, Daisy comes down in a towel, and Lucy tells her what happened. Daisy says, they can reimburse her, and Mads tells her, it says you can iron it on the label; it shouldn’t have done that. Personally, I think maybe Lucy held it too close. Daisy says, she’ll apologize, and in Daisy’s interview, she says she has to tell the guests, and there will be more sh*tty feedback from Glenn. Her anxiety is sky high. Glenn reminds Gary that they’re eating with the guests, and also tells Ileisha, who luckily has enough food. Gary reminds Daisy that he’s eating with the guests, and Daisy curses her life. She tells Lauren about the dress, and that they’ll reimburse her for it, and after an initial, oh my God, Lauren is cool with it. Gary tells Daisy that she creates a stressful environment, and in Lucy’s interview, she says, the tension between Gary and Daisy is going to spill into the rest of the crew. She hopes they sort their sh*t out soon. A gelato/drinks station is set up on the flybridge, and the stews make out the certificates. The guests are seated for dinner, and John tells Glenn that Gary has charisma😐and Gary talks about the town he grew up in. John asks about the name Parsifal, and Glenn says it’s originally from King Arthur. A German composer had named an opera after a knight, and the owner took it from that. In Glenn’s interview, he says, it’s too long between courses. He’s trying to distract the guests, but senses annoyance. Gary says he’s a momma’s boy, which is no surprise, and John blabs about the real estate he owns, which is no surprise either. Colin tells Ileisha to take a deep breath; the guests are happy with the food. Daisy tells the girls not to touch the dry ice at the gelato station, giving me flashbacks of a Halloween party my roommate and I once had. We ended up nixing dry ice because there were so many warnings, and we feared a tragedy. After dinner, Glenn thanks the guests for including him and Gary, and Daisy calls the crew to the flybridge for help. Gary hides and has a cigarette, and Colin says, it’s a d*ck move. Gary pretends he didn’t know, but in his interview, he says he doesn’t give a sh*t. He’s chief officer, and he’s going to have a smoke if he wants one. He thought Colin was on his side. Daisy wonders, WTF is going on?
In Chase’s interview, he says, if he hid on the boat, it wouldn’t be fine with Gary, but he has more important things to do, like work. The guests go to the flybridge, where caramel, peach, chocolate, and pistachio gelato await. Sigh… Daisy tells the guests that John organized a surprise, and turns it over to Gary. John is given the best book away, and swears he didn’t make it for himself. Jacob and Anastasia get the Straight A Student awards, and Natalia gets Best Accent award. There are probably more, but we don’t see that. Daisy complains to Colin about Gary, but Colin tells her, it’s not worth it. In Daisy’s interview, she says, if it weren’t for Colin, she would feel alone. No one gives a sh*t. Colin hugs her, and says, she’s doing a good job; she’s a great chief stew. In Colin’s interview, he says, considering how close Gary and Daisy are, he’s shocked at Gary’s behavior. Gary can go f*** himself. It’s finally bedtime for all, and in Chase’s interview, he says, anchor watch isn’t his favorite, but he had a sh*t job pressure washing dump trucks for $10 an hour, so he appreciates how easy the work is. He feels like he’s crushing it.
Last day of charter. Ileisha makes a watermelon fruit bowl, and I’m dying here. John asks for a bloody Mary and wonders if it’s not the tail of the cat. Is that a colloquial thing, or is he just way off? Anchor is home, and Alex says, Daisy seems happier. She made it through another round. She says, hanging by the skin of her teeth. Anchor is dropped, and John wonders if Glenn will take a selfie with him. Then as Glenn tries to listen to docking instructions, John keeps talking and talking and talking. In Glenn’s interview, he says, communication during the last meter and a half is critical. I’d be telling John to f*** off already.
Somehow, Glenn manages to dock, and the crew lines up for goodbyes. John says, it was more of an adventure than he’s intended, but they took care of TJ the best they could. He didn’t think he’d smile after that, but then they dressed up like the Spice Girls, and he felt guilty for smiling. They’re the greatest small time yacht crew. He gives Glenn the tip envelope, the crew waves, and Glenn toots the horn. Daisy thinks the guests were happy at the end, but it was overwhelming. The boys pissed her off, and made her feel like she did a sh*t job. Ileisha says, she thinks Daisy did the best she possibly could. Daisy tells her that Gary said it was the best charter yet, but she didn’t know if he was being sarcastic, or just said it to piss her off. It was a d*ck move. He’s a f***ing wanker.
At the tip meeting. Glenn says, it wasn’t the easiest charter. With what went wrong, the big one was TJ’s injury. Gary says he doesn’t know how they could have avoided it. Glenn suggests keeping a better eye on things, but Gary says, once the guests are out there and get close to each other, it’s out of the their hands. They can’t rely on the guests’ common sense. Glenn says, the 90s party was a real hit, and Daisy thanks everyone for pitching in. Glenn says he’s gotten an interesting perspective on Ileisha’s food from eating with the guests. She’s moving in the right direction, but the hold up between courses is longer than he was expecting. Ileisha says she’ll work on it, and Daisy says, they’re trying their hardest with the resources given. Glenn says he just wants them to give it some thought. He doesn’t mean work harder, but work smarter. It’s not about the first 95%, but the last 5% they should be pushing for. He asks for Daisy’s input, but she asks if they can move on and talk later. Glenn says, sure, and asks how Lucy and Mads feel. Lucy says, they were challenged… and Daisy leaves the room, starting to cry. Glenn says, they’ll put it on pause for a minute.
Gary goes after Daisy, who says she just needs five minutes. She’s trying. Gary says he knows. The girls are grateful for her. He hugs her, and Daisy says she’s sick of hearing her f***ing name, and being asked questions she can’t answer. In Gary’s interview, he says, Daisy annoys the f*** out of him, but he feels protective. He doesn’t like seeing her break down. Glenn finds Daisy, and tells her to take a moment. She says she knows it’s not a personal attack, but she feel personally responsible. In Daisy’s interview, she says she’s embarrassed that she lost control emotionally. She feels off her game. She’s doing the best she can, but she’s human and there’s only so much crap she can take. The meeting reconvenes, and Glenn says he doesn’t want to open another can of worms, but is there anything anyone wants to discuss? Colin says, everyone is doing a fantastic job, but they can all improve. Glenn isn’t talking about anyone’s shortcomings; it’s just constructive criticism. In Colin’s interview, he says he’s kind of taken aback. His first charter was stressful, but you didn’t see him crying. It’s about the whole crew, not just Daisy. The tip is $23K, or 2250 euros each, and makes everything okay again. In Alex’s interview, he says, it was just what they needed. Nothing cuts the tension like $23K. Glenn says he’s organized a tasting menu for them at a restaurant; the tender will drop them off. Daisy tells the girls that Gary has no f***ing clue about the pressure, and on deck, Chase tells Colin that he thinks Daisy is just stressed. Colin says, that’s why he was trying to back her up. Gary says he didn’t ask to be invited to dinner, but Colin tells him that taking a smoke break was a d*ck move. It wasn’t cool. Gary gets up and walks away, saying he’s over it. Colin says, Gary has to lead by example. Chase says, their department heads are all imploding; they’re all stressed. Daisy tells Gary to go f*** himself, and Chase says he’s glad he’s not the boss. It isn’t nice.
Next time, the crew’s night out; Mads toasts to her and Alex; Gary asks if Mads is interested in him; Chase says he’s not taking the fall for Alex; a repeat charter; and smoke from the engine.

Is it over yet?
Carl says he’s sick of this sh*t, and tells Kyle that Robert was bugging him about Danielle. Robert tells Danielle what Carl said, and how he was grouping her in with the girls. Danielle says she’s done, for the ten millionth time. Carl whines that the most important thing in his life was ruined because he didn’t do something he shouldn’t do. He’s so f***ing mad. Kyle suggests he take a breath, and Carl asks why it’s such a big deal. He and Lindsay moved in together and bought a car together. He told Danielle he was ring shopping; the writing was on the wall. There are bigger things to be upset about. Grow the f*** up. Kyle tells him that everyone else questioned his every move. Should he be doing a start-up? Should be with Amanda? It’s just human nature; people question everything. I hate when one of the people that’s usually an a-hole is the voice of reason. Carl says he gets it, but doesn’t know what to do about it. He ruined his own thing. He didn’t do what they wanted, and made Danielle feel horrible. He ruined a friendship with one decision. Lindsay comes out, and asks, what the hell happened? and Kyle says, Carl needed a minute. Carl says he ruined all kinds of things, and Lindsay suggests the go to South Hampton Social, where their real friends are. Kyle says he’s just hanging out and not a friend, and Carl says he didn’t like hurting anyone’s feelings. They leave, and Kyle tells Robert that Carl felt like he ruined the engagement, and they just left. Lindsay came up in a huff and puff, and decided they should go to South Hampton where they have friends. They do Jameson pickle backs, and Craig says he’s having fun, but it’s a little tense. He gets the gist of everything, and that they think it feels rushed. When he talked to Paige at Kyle’s birthday, it wasn’t until she started crying that he wondered what was going on. To Paige, getting engaged meant them moving in and her leaving her mom. He realized they had more to work out. He thought love was enough. Ciara suggested he stop fantasizing. She wants to meet someone to settle down with, but she’s strategic in how she dates. Craig says she was systematic. She moved to the city by herself and proved she didn’t need someone, but it’s fun to have someone to watch your shows with at night. Ciara says she wants to partner with a best friend, and she’s getting older. This summer she’s feeling older. Craig says, maybe there’s another Craig out there for her, and in Ciara’s interview, she says she’d love to meet someone, but fears she won’t, and it’s crippling. But it’s all in God’s timing and trusting in it. What’s meant to come to her will come, and she’s got to get herself ready in the meantime.
The group goes back to the house, Kyle puts on music, and they dance all over the place, including on the kitchen island. Yuk. In Chris’s interview, he says, when the summer is over, he’s going to miss these crazy nights. They’re dysfunctional, but they’re a family. He’s having fun with the people he’ll build experiences with that will last a lifetime. Ciara, Mya, and Paige push their beds together to make a megabed. In the morning, Carl and Lindsay aren’t back yet, Robert says goodbye, and – oh my God my eyes! – we see Kyle’s ass for the 4738th time. Everyone struggles to get up, and Mya says, you’d think the quiet would be good, but it’s not. It means a storm’s brewing. Amanda tells Kyle, it looks like no one was ever in Carl and Lindsay’s room. She doesn’t think they want to go on the boat today. He says, it’s been challenging, and he’s tired of being the ringbearer… He means ringleader. Amanda tells him to call Carl, and Carl asks, what’s going on? like nothing is different. Kyle asks if he and Lindsay will be joining them, but Carl says, they’re not going to make the boat. They’re with a friend of Lindsay’s where they spent the night. They thought it best to take themselves out of the toxicity. Lindsay thinks Danielle’s negativity is overwhelming, and right now, she’s the only source of negativity in their lives. Kyle says he’s sorry that’s how they feel. He asks if they’re coming back at some point, but Lindsay says she’s over the situation with Danielle. It’s best they’re not there, but it doesn’t seem like anybody cares. They think it’s best to take a break. Kyle says he’s not going to push them, but keep in touch. He hopes they come to the party tomorrow. Amanda says she feels bad that it went this way, and in Kyle’s interview, he says, if there was any hope of reconciling, he thinks it would be the opposite of what they’re doing. It’s like an F-U to the rest of them. He’s very discouraged. Word travels quickly about Carl and Lindsay not coming back for the boat, and Kyle says, they might not come back at all. They’re pushing their own snowball down the mountain. Paige says, Lindsay doesn’t need Danielle, so Danielle is now a non-factor. She has Carl now, and Danielle is angry and upset.
Kory arrives, and picks Sam up, kissing her. He says he’s running on fumes, and in Sam’s interview, she says, he gives her butterflies. When he walks in the room, she’s got to pee like a puppy. She’s been seeing him a lot and she’s not sick of him. It’s been a long time since she felt that way. They make food to take on the boat, and in Paige’s interview, she says, they’re keeping the Lindsay energy alive; all the men have to make their own sandwiches today. There are two boats, and they divide up. The small boat looks like a Fisher Price toy, and Kyle says he feels that this is a blazer moment. In Mya’s interview, she says, she’s here to enjoy the day with her friends, and got a weird DM asking if she and Oliver are exclusive. Who the f*** would be asking her status? She knows something is going on, but doesn’t know how to react. Gabby says her parents bought a house in Texas, and Paige asks if she’s freaking out. Gabby says she’s unwell, but trying not to put her feelings on them. She’s losing them, but she’s gained friends. She’ll be co-dependent in a whole new way. Chris makes Kyle do the Titanic pose on the bow of the boat.
Carl and Lindsay come back to get their stuff when everyone is gone, and Carl puts something over the camera. A producer breaks the fourth wall, and tells him they need footage of them packing. Lindsay says she knows he’s pissed off, but they can’t just vanish. They have to show what’s happening. On the boat, Kyle toasts to Carl and Lindsay’s engagement, and Chris toasts to Danielle. In Carl’s interview, he says, the support they got was drowned out by the negativity. It’s best for them not to be here. Lindsay takes her pineapple upside down cake with them, which is pretty high on the tacky scale. Carl says he’s packing his sh*t and moving on to another pasture.
The remaining housemates come back, and Amanda says, there were two cakes, and one of them is gone. Danielle laughs, and Kyle says, that’s savage. Paige says, she respects the f*** out of that move, and Gabby says, all their stuff is gone. Sam thinks it was a dramatic reaction, and she doesn’t want them to look back and think they should have said goodbye. Their beef is with Danielle, but they’re not Danielle. Kory and Chris find cowboy hats that were left behind and parade around in them. Amanda blames Danielle, and Paige tells her, grow up. Kory and Chris pretend to be Crocodile Dundee, and Ciara asks if they’re not coming back. Amanda says, the cake is gone, which I guess is a definitive answer. Chris and Kory show off the hats, but Danielle says, they can do better than this, making them put the hats back. Amanda tells Mya that Chris and Kory were having fun with the hats, and Danielle says, it was stupid and weird. In Danielle’s interview, she says, as much as she hates that they moved out and she wasn’t part of the engagement, she’s still love them and is loyal. It feels permanent, like it’s an end; an ending she didn’t want. Ciara says, Danielle is still protecting them, even though they’re gone, and Mya says, people need to calm the f*** down. In Mya’s interview, she says, she thinks Danielle is consumed with what’s going on with Lindsay, since she’s been supportive of Lindsay in the past. Ciara says, Danielle is brainwashed and scared of Lindsay, and Kyle tells Danielle that he’s seen her go to bat for Lindsay for years. Danielle says, to a fault. She understands the engagement isn’t about her, but she thought there was a glimmer of hope that Lindsay hadn’t known she was left out. Lindsay knew and was good with it. That she doesn’t matter to them is a blatant stab in the heart while looking her in the eye. Craig says, the second Danielle wasn’t useful, she was cut out of Lindsay’s life. Carl is a great guy, but his is all happening because of Lindsay. She’s the poison. Agreed.
Craig and Chris prepare packaged sushi, which is good, since they’re way too drunk to be making it themselves. Craig says he’s happy that him dating someone pulled Kory into a place where he found someone he likes. He makes Kory says he likes Sam, and Paige wonders why there are shoes in the pool. Kyle says, the only rule tonight is, if you don’t like something, throw it in the pool. Craig explains how to make a maki roll, and thanks them for having him back. They play a game of charades using sexually related references like skinny dipping and striptease. When Chris and Gabby try to depict missionary, they get it backward. I fear for our future. In Paige’s interview, she says they’re having one of the most fun nights without Carl and Lindsay. Carl and Lindsay don’t want be stupid with them. Paige tells Craig not to throw a chair in the pool, and Craig says, before he got here, anything they didn’t understand, they threw in the pool. No surprise, he throws the chair in the pool. He goes inside and calls his mother to tell her happy birthday. Elsewhere in the house, Kyle lifts weights, and says, s*ck my wiener. I’ve mentioned he’s 40, right? Sam and Kory slip into the closet for a quickie. Chris comes by, listens for a second, laughs, and moves on. When they come out, Sam’s hair looks perfect, so it can’t have been that great. Craig tells the girls that he was crying over stuff, but he’s good. Everyone sees there’s something wrong except the one person he wants to see it. Oh, I get it. It’s passive/aggressive time.
Paige follows Craig, and asks what she did. He says, every time he’s sad or has a feeling, she tells him to stop being a p*ssy. He tells Kyle that he missed his mom’s birthday, and he’s sad. She’s been a solid rock in his life. Kyle says Craig has others, the company and Paige, but Craig says, sometimes he feels alone. After Paige throws her guts up, Paige and Craig take Lindsay and Carl’s room, and Craig says he feels better. Kyle wakes up Amanda, who asks why he always wakes her up, which is exactly what I’d been thinking. She tells him that he’s on her sh*t list.
In the morning, the girls commiserate about the summer almost being over. Paige comes in and says, Craig was trying to hug her all night. Now he wants her to shower with him. He always acts dramatic, and it’s her fault. He gets mad because she’s not sensitive. Ciara says, while Paige was throwing up was not the time to be an attention whore. In Paige’s interview, she says she gets Craig is having an emotional whirlwind, but crying on a Saturday night because he misses his mom? And then he says she’s not comforting enough. Where was he when she was throwing up his dinner. The girls laugh, and Craig finally wanders in to get Paige, who says, he’s so dramatic sometimes.
Drinking commences immediately in the morning, and Amanda digs around in the freezer for her face roller. Gabby volunteers to do the inflatables and jungle juice, and Sam says she’ll do the lanterns and smaller decorations. They all work on setting up for the party, and Paige instructs Craig to make the door look like a lion’s mouth the guests will walk through. Amanda tells Kyle that her body knows it’s the last weekend. She doesn’t think she should feel like this after just a few drinks yesterday. Kyle says, Craig was in tears. He thinks Craig is realizing the possibility of an engagement is further away then he thought. He doesn’t know what to tell him. Lindsay and Carl come up the drive, and Lindsay says, it’s the last time they’ll be driving up this driveway this summer. They go into the house.
Next time – finally, the finale – goodbye to the summer of ’22; a conga line; Craig says his ultimate goal is to get closer to an engaemtn; Mya asks why Olivier cheated on her; Kyle tells Amanda that Lindsay doesn’t think her friendship with Danielle is repairable; and Danielle calls Lindsay a monster.

Paris, France. As they walk into a hotel suite, Anna tells Valentin, it’s so frustrating. Four days, and nothing. He says, it’s not nothing. They now know the building in question is Victor’s stronghold. She says, but they have no way in, and they don’t know if that’s exactly where Lucy is being held. The whole thing is just a damn waste of time. He tells her to look on the bright side. They’re in Paris, and they’re together. He kisses her.
Michael kisses Willow’s forehead, and says, that’s from Wiley. And also – he kisses her bump – that’s for his little sister. She asks how their little smoocher is doing, and he says, fine. He’s just worried about his mama. She says she hates that she collapsed in front of him. He must be so scared. Michael says, Wiley will feel better once he meets his little sister, and she asks if he told Wiley that the baby is coming early. He says, not yet, but he does think they should fill Wiley in. Make him part of bringing the baby home so he doesn’t feel left out. She says she agrees. They’ll do all of that once the baby comes. He says, which has to happen before she can receive the bone marrow transplant. So if Nina does turn out to be a match, she can be induced as soon as tomorrow. She says she could, except she’s not willing to do that, and he asks what she’s saying. She tells him that she doesn’t want to deliver early. She wants the baby to come when she’s ready. He says, even if it costs her life?
Heather slips into Ryan’s room, saying, good morning, Ritchie. She waves her hand in front of his face, and says, don’t worry. It’s just her. She promises they won’t be disturbed. She locks the door, and he comes up behind her, startling her. He says, alone at last.
Esme comes out of the bathroom, fully dressed, and sees the guard with handcuffs. She asks if she has to. She’s been handcuffed so long, her wrists are sore. He says, sorry, his instructions, and she asks if he can’t wait until her lawyer gets here. He can put them on her when the two of them escort her to her hearing. There’s a knock at the door, and the guard opens it to Victor. Victor tells Esme that she looks lovely, and it’s so nice to see her up and about. She asks if she knows him, and he says, right. She can call him Uncle Victor.
Chase says he can’t believe Willow’s been battling leukemia all this time, and didn’t tell anyone, but Sasha says she gets it. Illness is a deeply private thing. He says he gets it, but now they know, so they can be here for Willow and Michael, and she says, right.
Sonny comes into the penthouse, and sees Nina pacing on the phone. She says she needs to confirm she’s a bone marrow donor match with Willow Tate… She has no idea why it’s taking so long. It was a cheek swab for a preliminary screening… Can they put her on a priority list? She’s trying to save… If they could just call her when they get the results, she’d appreciate it. She thanks them, and Sonny hugs her. He asks what time she got to bed, and she says, 4:30-ish; she’s not sure. Her mind is just racing. She has a daughter… Willow is her daughter; Nelle had a twin. She has another chance at being a mother. He says, it’s great. He’s happy for her. She says, and her bone marrow is going to save Willow.
Valentin hands Anna a glass of wine, and says, he thinks this will help. She thanks him, and he asks what she’s hoping to learn by looking at the map again. She says she’s just looking for something they might have missed, and he suggests they go over it one more time. She says, the building is under constant surveillance, and he says, naturally. She says, and the shifts are staggered, which means no two posts change guards at the same time. He says, there’s always someone at watch, and she says, which means they can’t attach themselves to an arriving group and just slip inside. He pats his leg, and she puts her feet in his lap. He says, they haven’t exhausted all their options. There’s always a variable; a fatal flaw. So they’ll find the weaknesses in Victor’s defenses, and exploit them. She says, then they’ll look for Lucy, and he says, she’ll most likely be unharmed. Anna sits up, and says, that’s supposed to make her feel better, but it doesn’t, because she got Lucy involved in this. And if anything happens to her…
The guard tells Victor that he can’t be here, but Victor assures him that he has no ill intent. The guard says he’s going to have to ask Victor to leave, and Esme says she knows it’s against procedure or whatever, but as he knows, she has no memory of who she is or what she’s done, and this man may have some answers that could help her. So if he could just give them a few minutes, please. The guard says, two minutes, and the door stays open. She thanks him, and he goes out to the hallway. Victor says, well played, but Esme says she wasn’t playing him. She just told him what she wanted. He’s her uncle? No one told her that she had family. He says he guesses his introduction was a bit misleading. His name is Victor Cassadine, and she’s carrying the next Cassadine heir. She says, so he’s here for the baby, not her, and he says, right now, the two of them are more than a bit inseparable. She guesses she shouldn’t be surprised. Apparently, she’s not a very good person. He says, apparently. So her memory is still a blank.
Nina looks at her phone, and Sonny says, that’s not going to make it ring any faster. She says she can’t help it. She feels like this amazing gift has been dropped in her lap, and it can all go away just as quickly. She has a daughter. One she didn’t know about. She’s in the hospital, fighting for her life, a life she doesn’t want Nina to be a part of, but Nina’s bone marrow is going to save her. He says, Willow’s as stunned by the news as Nina is. Everyone is just trying to wrap their head around her being Willow’s mother. She says, except for Carly. She knew for months; almost a year. She didn’t tell them. She just sat and watched Nina and Willow tear into each other about Wiley, and didn’t say a word. She’ll never forget that.
Michael says, Dr. Randolph has been very clear that Willow has to deliver the baby before she receives the transplant, and she has to receive the transplant to live. Willow agrees that Terry has been clear, and he says, she’s eight months along. Having the baby now will pose minimal risk. She says, premature babies can have health problems that affect their entire lives. She’s stable right now. If they wait another week or two, it could make all the difference in the quality of their daughter’s life. He says, the longer she waits, the more the leukemia will progress, and the less likely the transplant will work. He doesn’t want to risk her life more than they already have. She says, more than she already has, but he says, it’s always we. He doesn’t want their children to grow up without a mother. He doesn’t even want to imagine life without her.
Heather says, someone’s feeling frisky this morning, and Ryan says, their daughter is still in police custody. She says she told him that she’d take care of that. What is he so nervous about? As soon as someone else gets hooked, while Esme’s still in custody, the cops will have to let her go. He says, yet no one has died since she’s been arrested. What’s the hold up? She says she may have had a little snag; just a teeny weeny bump in the road. Her favorite security guard Dietrich got fired for stealing. He says, she has to be kidding, and she says she knows. Good help is hard to find these days. The point is, she no longer has easy access in and out of Spring Ridge right now. Bummer. He says, yeah.
Esme tells Victor, the only reason she knows her own name is because someone told it to her, and now she can go to prison for something she doesn’t know if she did or not. He asks what her attorney has to say about her potential incarceration, and she tells him, Mr. Grey says if she can find out where she’s been the past few months, he might be able to prove she’s not the killer. But given everything everyone says she did, she’s starting to think it might be better if she never remembers who she used to be. Revenge porn? He says he’s not one to judge, but she says, that seems pretty judge-worthy. He says, as soon as she stops caring what other people think, the freer she and her conscience will be, and she says, right. She thinks their two minutes are up, so if there’s anything specific he wants to ask her… He says he’s only here because he’s worried about her, and she says, he means the baby. He says, her, the baby, the future. What are her plans after she leaves the hospital? She says, her immediate plans are going to court, and then, who knows? She’s just hoping she won’t end up in prison. Martin walks in, and says, Victor is here. He’ll have a talk with his sister, the mayor, about that. He asks if Victor is bothering Esme, but she says, not at all. Are they headed to the courthouse now? Martin says, not yet. They need to strategize before her arraignment. Victor wonders how much strategy is required to get a pregnant woman with amnesia off on bail, and Esme says, the police think she killed three people. Victor says, indeed they do, but they have no physical evidence tying her to those crimes. Martin asks to have a word in the hall alone with Victor, and tells Esme that he’ll be right back. Victor says he’ll be in touch, and they leave.
In the hallway, Martin asks what Victor wants, but Victor says he’s merely looking out for his family. Esme is the mother of his great niece or nephew, and he wants to do anything he can to help her. Martin says, if that’s the case, why doesn’t he stay away? The last thing his client needs right now is to be seen in the company of an unrepentant sociopath. Victor says, Martin is forgetting himself, and Martin says, Victor will have to forgive him. He might remember his manners better if he wasn’t worried sick about his poor Lucy. He’s concerned he might not be doing the best for his clients because he hasn’t been able to think straight since Lucy disappeared. Victor says, he means, since Anna Devane shot Lucy, but Martin says, that’s the thing. They never did find Lucy’s body. Just like Victor’s nephew – twice. Imagine that. And while hope remains alive, the uncertainty that he might never see Lucy again doesn’t do anyone any good, least of all his client. Victor suggests Martin speak plainly. How dos he think the fate of that unfortunate girl has anything to do with Esme Prince? Martin says he’s afraid if he can’t focus on the case, she’s going to end up having her baby behind bars… in Pentenville.
Nina tells Sonny that she knew Carly hated her, but even at her worst, she didn’t think Carly was capable of doing this to her again. That Carly could keep her from – not once, but twice – her children. First Nelle, then Willow. He says he’s mad as hell at Carly right now. He doesn’t care how Carly felt about Nina. She had no right to hide the fact that Nina is Willow’s mother. Nina says she’s beyond mad. She didn’t think anything would hurt as much as finding out Nelle was her daughter until after she was dead, but this… Knowingly keeping her from her living daughter. Nina cries, and says, Carly sat by and watched her and Willow turn their relationship into this toxic thing, and didn’t say anything. Then Nina heard Willow say, this doesn’t change anything between them. It just rips her heart out of her body. He tells her, sit down, and Nina tells him that Willow said she thinks so little of Nina, she wanted to know what Nina wanted in return for her bone marrow. She’d give Willow her life. Sonny says, Willow now has to figure out what going on, and Nina says, but things would been different if they’d known they were mother and daughter. If Carly had told her, she would have never acted that way. She wouldn’t have pushed so hard to get Wiley. What if by her trying so desperately to hold on to her grandson… What if that’s what makes her lose Wiley… and Willow… and the baby. He says, she’s going get through this, and holds her as she sobs.
The reception nurse asks how she can help Michael, and he asks if he can talk to Terry. The nurse says, she’s in a consultation right now, but she’ll tell Terry when she’s available. Chase and Sasha come in, and Chase asks how Michael is doing. Is he hanging in there? Michael says he’s trying, and Sasha asks if something happened to Willow. She’s worse? Michael says, no, she’s stable. The biggest danger Willow is facing right now is herself. He knows he shouldn’t be arguing with Willow right now. She needs to save her strength to fight this thing, but she’s not listening to reason. Chase suggests they take a walk and get some fresh air, and Sasha says she’ll sit with Willow, but Michael says he doesn’t want to leave. Chase says, then maybe just a lap around the floor, and Michael says he can do that. He asks Sasha to call him if anything happens, and she promises she will.
Willow tells the baby that her dad is worried about both of them, but she promises she’s going to protect the baby as long as she possibly can. And she’ll always put the baby first.
Martin tells Victor, sooner or later, everybody’s luck runs out. When he finds Lucy, he’ll know what happened. Victor says he’s sure Martin will… if he finds her. Martin says, here’s hoping, and asks Victor to excuse him. He must be getting to court. One thing he and Victor can agree on, it behooves them all to do what they can to see justice served.
Anna says she’s sorry Valentin wasn’t with Charlotte for Christmas, and he says, that hurt. They were able to get a message to Laura on Christmas Day, so Charlotte knows he’s all right. He’s grateful for that. Anna says she thinks Laura is changing her opinion about him, but he says he wouldn’t say that. He thinks she’s tolerating him for Charlotte’s sake. He considers that a victory, but Anna says she thinks it’s more than that. Laura’s giving him credit for good intentions. He says, let’s not go crazy, when there’s a knock at the door. She asks if he’s expecting someone, but he says he doesn’t know, and asks, who’s there? in French. A child’s voice, also in French, says, it’s me, Antoine, and Valentin opens the door, inviting a little boy in. He asks if Antoine was followed, but he says, no, sir. He was careful like Valentin told him to be. Valentin asks what intel Antoine has for him, and Antoine says, when his father came home today, he was complaining again about an American woman who never stops talking. When he’s finally able to get away from her, she always says, ciao and ta. Today he says, she tried brain him with a serving tray. Valentin and Anna look at each other, and say, Lucy.
Sasha asks if she can come in, and Willow says, yes. Sasha hugs her, and she asks if Sasha has seen Michael. Sasha says, he’s with Chase, and Willow says she’s glad he has someone to talk to. She assumes Sasha knows, and Sasha says she knows about the leukemia, and that Willow delayed treatment because of her pregnancy. She thinks it was a brave choice. She would have done anything to save Liam. Willow says she knew Sasha would understand, and Sasha says, but Michael doesn’t?
Michael says, Chase knows how Willow is always putting everyone else’s needs before her own. Now they have a potential donor. Chase says, that’s great, and Michael says, if it doesn’t fall through like the last one, and if Willow doesn’t delay treatment for too long.
Willow tells Sasha, you know how relatives are supposed to make the best donors? She’s been searching for her birth mother… Sasha says, oh my God. Willow found her? Willow says, they did. Here in Port Charles. Sasha asks how that’s not good news, and Willow says, according to a DNA test, her birth mother is Nina.
Sonny says he just wants Nina to know, it’s not as bad as it seems, and she says, optimism looks good on him. He says, the lab is going to call her and tell her that she’s a viable donor for Willow. The transplant’s going to save her life, and when she’s healthy, she’ll realize she deserves Nina for a mother. She says, he can’t promise that, but he says he can. She says, how? and he says he talked to Michael last night, and he opened up a little bit. Not like it used to be, but more than they’ve talked in a year. She says, that’s wonderful, and he says he saw the son he thought he’d lost forever. There’s something he realized. As long as there’s life, there’s always hope.
Willow tells Sasha, the most selfish, vindictive person she knows, the one she fought to keep from Wiley, that’s her mom. Sasha says she knows Willow and Nina don’t get along… and Willow says, that woman hated her from the moment they met. In fact, Nina hated her before she walked into Willow’s classroom. She was Charlotte’s teacher, and Nina was convinced she had it in for Charlotte because she woudn’t accept that Charlotte was acting out. Sasha says, Nina is very protective of the people she loves, but Willow says, Nina is toxic. It’s literally horrifying to think they’re related. She was better off with Harmony. Sasha asks if Willow is thinking of refusing the transplant if Nina is the donor.
Ryan says, Esme going to prison wasn’t part of his plan, and Heather says, good. That would be a terrible plan. He says he needs her free. His daughter – Heather says, their daughter – their daughter can’t move without surveillance? Then how is she supposed to help him reunite with Ava? Heather says, Ava? She doesn’t give a damn about Ava. She’s not doing this for Ava. She’s doing this for herself and her baby girl. Steven Lars was ripped out of her arms when he was a child. Franco had to grow up without her. Esme is her last chance. He says, then don’t blow it. Stab someone. Anyone. As long as Esme’s alibi is unshakable. And don’t forget to include details only the police would know. They don’t want the police to think it’s a copycat. She says, don’t tell her how to do her job. She’s waited her whole life to have a relationship with her daughter; with her Esme. He says, no she hasn’t, and she says, now she’s within touching distance of her, does he think she’s going to let the cops lock her away somewhere she won’t get a chance to see her. And what about her baby? Prison is no place for a child. That’s their grandchild. He says, it’s better to leave the baby on the doorstep of some convent, and she says she did the best she could. It’s not fair. He’s already gotten a chance to see her, and spend time with her. She’s never even had a chance to speak with her. Esme probably doesn’t even know her name. He says, she doesn’t, but Heather says, she will, and she will be a part of Esme’s life. He says, dream big or go home, and she says she’s lived this long without her daughter, wondering where she is, just waiting for a glimpse of her baby girl. He says, now they’re back in fantasyland, and she says, mark her words. She’s going to set her daughter free if it’s the last thing she does. He says, great. How? She says, the only way she can. By busting out of here.
Nina looks at a photo of Madeline, and tells Sonny that she hated her mother. She was convinced her mother was cruel and self-absorbed. He says, two for two, and she says she was just an extension of Madeline, and she has to ask herself, what if Willow describes her that way; cruel and self-absorbed. He says, she’d be wrong, and Nina says, maybe not. He says he didn’t know Nina’s mother, but obviously, she didn’t understand love and family. Nina says, she had a firm grasp of inheritance law, and he says, when her mother took her children away from her, it broke her, just like Deke broke him. They have a hole inside of them. Their souls were ripped out by people they thought they could trust. Nina’s hurt people, and he’s hurt people. That’s because they feel too much. They love too much, and fight too hard because they react quickly. They drive away the people they love. They’re too much. She says, he’s not too much for her, and he says, she’s not too much for him either.
Valentin thanks Antoine, and says he’s been a great help. He gives Antoine some cash, and Antoine says, his pleasure, especially for this much money. Valentin asks him to promise not to tell anyone he was asking questions, and Antoine says he’s never seen Valentin before in his life. Valentin thanks Antoine, and Antoine leaves. Valentin tells Anna that was the son of one of Victor’s bodyguards, and she says, could espionage be more adorable? Now they know Lucy is in the building. He says, she’s still fighting, and Anna says, as long as there’s breath in Lucy’s body, there’s two things she’ll never do; shut up or give up. He says, they’re certainly not giving up on Lucy. What do they do? She says, they can’t go in the front way because there’s too much foot traffic, and he says, and they can’t go in the back way because there are too many cameras and motions sensors. She says, so they… and he says, they parkour across the rooftops and rappel from above? She says, no, and he says, maybe they perform a reverse Shawshank, and pop up from the sewers. She says, not the sewers; the catacombs.
Willow says, Nina claims there are no strings attached, and Sasha says, Willow doesn’t believe her? Willow asks how she can. Let’s say it all works out, and Nina’s bone marrow saves her life. Sasha doesn’t think she’d try to leverage that into time with Wiley or her daughter? Sasha says, so even after all this, the kids will still be off limits to Nina? and Willow says, Nina’s still the same person she was when she dragged her and Michael into court for visitation with Wiley. The same person who badgered and manipulated, and tried to convince Michael that she was having an affair with TJ. Sasha says, she could also be Willow’s best chance at survival, and Willow says she won’t refuse the transplant because it’s Nina. She just wants to wait as long as possible to give her daughter the best chance at a healthy life. Sasha says she would expect nothing less.
Ryan says, Heather’s guard-slash-doorman got himself canned for stealing. How does she expect to get out without his help? She says, getting out is easy. It’s getting back in that’s the tricky part. He asks if she means she can leave here any time she wants, and she says, absolutely. He asks, how? and she says, this, showing him a file-like tool. He says, nice craftmanship, and she tells him, sometimes he says the sweetest things. She’s going to take a hostage and break out, and she’s going to hook that smug little Josslyn Jax once and for all, and Esme’s exonerated. And she, Esme and the baby can go on the run together. He says, what about him? and she says, he can come if he wants, but she’s leaving now. He says, today? and she says, why not? He says, they need a real plan, not just stab and run, and she says, unclench, will he? Loosen up. Improvise. Live in the moment. He says he doesn’t think she’s thought this through, and she says, fine. She’ll do the hard work; she’s used to it. Don’t worry. They’ll send him a postcard. She runs out.
Chase says, Nina is Willow’s mom? and Michael says, yeah. Chase says he sees how that could be a lot to deal with, and Michael says, Nina’s been a wrecking ball for Willow from the get-go. Chase says, but now that Nina’s lost her case about Wiley, things have calmed down, right? Michael says, Nina accused Willow of cheating on him with TJ, because in her eyes, comforting a friend who has cancer and cheating are too impossible to tell apart. Chase tells Michael that he doesn’t know what to say to that, and Michael says, Willow is the most generous, open-hearted person in the world, and she despises Nina. How bad do you have to be for Willow to hate you?Nina wants things, but she doesn’t want to earn them, so she has no idea what’s best for Wiley. Chase asks if Michael thinks Willow is willing to risk her own life for her daughter’s sake to prove she’s not like Nina, but Michael says he doesn’t think that’s it. Willow always puts everyone’s needs before her own. She was wiling to go to jail to protect Wiley from Shiloh. Her loyalty is one of the reasons he loves her, and that’s why her family needs her.
Anna tells Valentin, there’s another brilliant idea shot to hell. Because Victor’s stronghold isn’t accessible by the catacombs. He says, hold on. That might be the official data, but there are plenty of catacombs that are unmapped. There might be one or two that lead directly to where they want to go. She asks what they’re supposed to do. Find an underground passage that may or may not be structurally sound, and explore it blindly, hoping it ends up under Victor’s fancy Parisian fortress? He says, no. They don’t have to do it themselves. There are plenty of people that have already done so. She says, illegally, and he says, unofficially. As it happens, he just might know somebody. She asks why she’s not surprised, and he says, but she is impressed. Otherwise, why is he doing this? She says she is impressed; he’s amazing. She kisses him, and says, now let’s go get Lucy out of there.
At the hospital on the phone, Victor asks Gavin, how’s their guest? Any sign of trouble?… Good. Stay alert, and double security. He hasn’t been able to locate Anna or Valentin, and they just might be headed Gavin’s way.
Heather sneaks around Spring Ridge, and hears footsteps. She ducks around the corner, and a guard brings Esme past her.
Sasha says, when she came to town, she was pretending to be Nina’s daughter, which makes her Willow’s fake sister. They laugh, and Willow says, finally, good news. Michael comes in, and asks what they’re up to, and Sasha says she’ll let Willow fill him in. She tells Willow, any time Willow wants to talk, and Willow says, back at her. Sasha says, that goes for Michael too, and leaves. Willow asks if he’s okay, and he says he’s sorry for arguing with her, and she says she’s sorry too, for letting him think she’d abandon her family. She promises, she doesn’t want to die. He says he knows, but it’s ultimately up to her to decide to delay the birth. She thanks him for saying that, and says she thought about it, and if Dr. Randolph thinks it’s too risky to delay the transplant, they can bring their daughter into the world a little early. He says, thank God. He loves her. She says she loves him too. Of course (🍷) none of this matters if Nina’s not a match.
Nina says she’s a potential donor match, and Sonny says he told her that there was still hope. She throws her arms around him, and says, he couldn’t resist saying, I told you so. He says he likes to be right, and she tells him that she has to go to GH and get a blood test. She’s one step closer to saving her daughter’s life. Sonny asks if she wants him to go with her, and she says she wouldn’t have it any other way. She kisses him, and asks what she’d do without him. He says, she’s not going to have to find out, and kisses her.
Tomorrow, Spencer tells Ava that he can’t go up against his father alone; Michael says, call it what it is, it was revenge; and Nina says she has no intention of forgetting.

It’s all fun and games until you have to clean up turkey poop.
Take a return trip tomorrow for the usual soap and tea until there’s something better on. Until then, stay safe, stay engaged in a conversation and not staring at your phone, and stay dreaming big or going home.
