General Hospital

TJ tells Curtis that Grandpa Marshall accused Drew of making him a fake job offer. He figured out it was a ruse to do a background check. That’s why he left town; is he right? Curtis says, Marshall wasn’t too happy about it, and TJ asks, what’s his plan? To find grandpa, and bring him back?

Carly asks if Valentin has forgotten his big plan to pass Sasha off as Nina’s daughter. Has he forgotten how hurt she was? Carly almost felt sorry for her at the time. And he was the one who met with Nina’s mother. If he’d told Nina the truth from the start, she’s sure his search would have led to Nelle. In her opinion, it was a gift. He spared Nina the nightmare of trying to be a mother to Nelle, who was broken and dangerous, but she doubts Nina feels that way. So if you ask her, if anyone’s responsible for costing Nina a relationship with her daughter, it’s him.

Chet asks if this seat is taken, and Terry says, teal shirt. So far, she’s not disappointed at all. He says, neither is he, and she says, same shirt, same opening lines. Valentine’s Day ja vu? He says, no, and he’s not the mistaken date. He’s the real deal.

Josslyn says she’s glad she and Trina decided to go to yoga instead of hitting the gym. She’s so tight; she needs to stretch. Trina says, her mom swears by this class. She’s glad they got there early; the fewer people the better. Josslyn says she’s glad Trina came with her. She needs all the help she can get whipping herself back into shape so she’s a beast by volley ball season. Trina says, Josslyn will be unstoppable, and Josslyn says she hopes so. She can’t wait to get her life back on track. Trina says she knows the feeling, when Rory comes in to stretch. She says, when this trial is over, she’s grabbing life and going for it.

At Kelly’s, Cameron asks if Spencer has dug anything up, but Spencer says, these things have to be finessed; it takes time. Cameron says he’s been covering for Spencer, and lying to Joss. He needs to know the hell he’s been catching is worth it. Spencer says he hasn’t uncovered anything about Esme, and Cameron says he thought Spencer was the master of stealth. He should be good at sneaking around. Spencer says, but Esme is brilliant at covering her tracks. Her secrets have secrets.

Esme goes to her room at Windymere, and looks at a letter from Maggie. She reads: Dear Esme, I was so glad to get your letter with all your good news; winning prizes at school and a big circle of friends. Your life in Port Charles sounds like a success. I’m especially glad to hear you and Spencer are happy and closer than ever.

Nina meets Ava at Charlie’s, apologizing for being late. She was strategizing with Scotty about her visitation hearing. Ava says, sounds like he’s learned his lesson; no more sneak attacks like in Pennsylvania. Nina says, he’s definitely learned his lesson. This time when he goes after Willow, it’ll be on her orders.

Terry lifts her glass, and says, welcome home. Chet says, to finally making this happen, and they clink glasses. They both talk at once, then say, you first. He wonders if it’s going to be like this all night, and she says, they’re better at texting. Maybe they should pull out their phones. He says, then they’d be looking down all night. He wouldn’t be able to look into those beautiful eyes. He asks if that was cheesy, and she says, but effective.

Valentin says, it would be nice if they didn’t have to litigate the past, and she says, he started it. He says he’s just saying it might be better for everyone if she and Nina could set aside their differences. She asks if that’s what they’re calling it, and he says, he’s not defending the mistakes Nina has made; he’s just appealing to her compassionate side. She asks what makes him think she’d have one ounce of compassion for Nina, and he says, because she has everything Nina’s ever wanted. She says, really? Last she checked, Nina had her husband

Ava says she’s not against Nina playing hardball where her grandson is concerned, but she’s going after Willow? Now? Didn’t her mom just die? Nina says she doesn’t mean to sound callous. She just meant she’s ready to fight. She doesn’t have a choice. Willow and Michael shot at her first. Ava asks if the first shot was the feature in The Invader or the charges in Pennsylvania, and Nina asks how she knew about the feature. Ava says, the reporter reached out to her for a comment, and Nina asks why he would reach out to Ava about her visitation with Wiley. Ava says, it wasn’t about Wiley. It was about Avery and how she was born.

Cameron tells Spencer, Esme is good at covering her tracks? Didn’t see that one coming. Duh. Spencer asks how Cameron got into college with such a rudimentary vocabulary, and Cameron asks how Spencer functions with such lackluster critical thinking skills. Maybe he was wrong to trust that Spencer can handle Esme. He’s been in over his head this whole time. Spencer says, just recently. He’s been trying to get her to tryst him so she’ll confess, but he doesn’t think he’s giving her everything she wants. Cameron asks what she wants, and Spencer says, intimacy. Cameron says, so Mr. I’m-Going-To-Give-You-Sex-Advice is telling him… Spencer tells him, what he’s saying is, his girlfriend wants to have sex with him, and he’s running out of ways to avoid it.

Esme continues to read: Spencer seems to be good for you. Don’t let him go. I’m also relieved to hear that you’re not pursuing a relationship with your biological father. She goes into her walk-in closet, takes a shoebox out from the bottom of a stack, and reads some more: You are smart and industrious. Use those gifts for good, Esme. Continue to focus on school and Spencer. Most of all, continue to be happy. Love, Maggie. She says, don’t worry, Maggie. She intends to do that. She puts the letter in a manila envelope, folds it, and puts it in the bottom of the box filled with letters.

Josslyn asks if Trina is enjoying the view of Officer Invisible, and Trina says, Officer Cabrera. Josslyn says, right. She wonders what he’s doing here. Trina says, probably taking a yoga class. He was obviously here before them. Josslyn says she just wanted to make sure Trina is comfortable being around him, since the police are still investigating Trina doing something she didn’t do. Trina says, Officer Cabrera’s not like that, and Josslyn says she guesses. He seemed okay that day at the courthouse; not so much when he was arresting Cameron. Trina says, and Spencer, and Josslyn says, he can arrest Spencer any day of the week, and twice on Sundays. She just wants to make sure he’s not harassing Trina. Trina says, he’s not. She almost pepper sprayed him at the gallery, and he was cool with it. Josslyn says, what? and Trina says, he told her why he arrested Cameron. Because Commissioner Ashford wants everything done by the book, and because he’s a rookie, she guesses he overcompensated. Josslyn admits Cameron did lose his head with Spencer, and Trina says, don’t act like she didn’t love when her man came to her defense. Josslyn says, okay, it was hot, and Trina says, TMI. Josslyn says, it looks like she’s not the only one who recognizes hotness. Rory and Trina smile at one another.

Curtis tells TJ, he has no plans to go after Marshall. The man wants to be gone, that’s his prerogative. TJ says, he can’t mean that, but Curtis says he can, and he does. Why would he go against Marshall’s wishes? TJ says, he had no problem going against Marshall’s wishes before, and Curtis says he knows TJ has something to say. TJ says, he respects Curtis. and realizes Marshall is Curtis’s father, not his. Curtis says, if TJ is going to go in on him for the methods he uses, Portia already did, and so did TJ’s mom. TJ says, it’s not just his methods. Since Marshall let it be known who he was, Curtis has called all the shots. Curtis even asked him to steer clear of Marshall, and at first, he did; he complied. Curtis says he was just trying to protect his family, and TJ says, Curtis has always been the head of this family, and he respects that, but now that Curtis knows the truth, was it worth losing the one chance he had with his father?

Terry says, Chet’s trip sounds like a success, and Chet says, it was; it’s going to do a lot of good for the vets. She asks if it was hard going back, and he says, at first. Working with wounded veterans always brings him back to that place; in pain, uncertain of the future. But one of the vets came up to him, and said, seeing him thrive after his injuries showed him it was possible. It’s for guys like him that Chet keeps going back. Terry says, that’s incredible; how affirming. He says, for them, and for him. He’s not going to lie. They’ll have to clear some hurdles and not give up, and do the work, but they can clear those hurdles. She says, like him, and he says, it’s still not that easy. In fact, can he make a confession?  

Cameron asks if Spencer is saying he and Esme haven’t had sex since Spring Ridge, and Spencer says, he’s been trying to string her along. He doesn’t want to have sex with her, especially after she framed and betrayed his best friends, but he can’t get her to open up. He doesn’t know; it must be the lack of sex, right? Cameron says, ya think? The way they were all over each other before? Did Spencer at least search her stuff? Spencer says, he’s trying to, but Esme is always around. At first, it was because she was hiding from Uncle Sonny, but now she basically times leaving the house with him going to work or the gallery. He can’t shake her. If he sneezes, Esme is there to say, gesundheit. Cameron says, they’re running out of options. If Spencer can’t search her stuff, and she won’t confess, that only leaves one choice. Spencer tells him, don’t say it, dude, and Cameron says, they have to tell Joss and Trina the truth.

Rory asks how it’s going, and if Josslyn and Trina are waiting for a class. He was in the previous one, but wanted to stretch out a little more. Josslyn tells him, they’re early. They were hoping he’d say hi. He asks if it’s safe, or if Trina is armed again, and Josslyn says, only with good looks, intelligence, and charm. Trina is the full package. Trina says she didn’t know he was into yoga… or is he on assignment? He says he’s off-duty. It’s his day off. In fact, he spent the afternoon at The Chuck. She says, having lunch on the steps, or…. but he says, he actually went inside. He rented and audio guide, but it wasn’t as good as the Jerome Gallery; he couldn’t ask questions. Josslyn says, next time, ask Trina; she’s an expert. Trina says, she’s not an expert, and Officer Cabrera couldn’t even seek out her opinion on art, not while she’s facing a trial. Josslyn asks, why not? He’s not her arresting officer. There’s an awkward silence, and Josslyn says she’s going to put their bags away. She leaves, and Trina says, she’s sorry, but Rory says, don’t be. Her friend’s right.

Valentin tells Carly, even if they put Sonny in Nina’s column of assets, look at everything she doesn’t have. She doesn’t have children; she has no relationship with her grandchild. She has a few friends, but nothing like the roots in the community Carly has. Even her office space is at Carly’s mercy. Carly says she’d be happy to let Nina out of her lease at Crimson. She can afford the penalty. She has no problem coming up with the money to buy herself out of legal difficulties. And she has defenders like him, running to her rescue every time she chips a fingernail. Nina is no victim. He says, Nina has been exploited by nearly everyone who claims to care for her, and yes, he’s including himself on that list. The least he can do is come to her defense. She says, who hasn’t been exploited? He says he gets that, and he’s not minimizing  what’s happened to Carly, but she’s strong. She has a huge heart. Can she really tell him there’s no part of her that feels for Nina?

Nina tells Ava that she doesn’t know why the reporter would want to dredge that up again. This is Michael, Willow, and Carly’s doing. Does Ava see what she’s dealing with? Ava says, in all fairness, it is public record; everything Nina did. The enforced labor, kidnapping Avery, taking her to Canada. Nina says, that was a different person, and Ava says, she was. She’s just warning Nina that Diane Miller is going to bring it up in court, and the judge will likely find it kind of pertinent. Nina says she wasn’t in her right mind at the time. She’s worked a lot on herself. What did Ava tell the reporter? Ava says, nothing; she didn’t tell him anything. The only time she’s going to talk is in court if she’s called to testify on Nina’s behalf. Nina says, Wiley lost a grandmother last night; he can’t lose another one. Ava says, what about his grandfather? Is Sonny still hands off? Nina says she made it clear to Scotty that he’s not to put Sonny on the stand, but Ava says, that’s not what she meant. The last time they spoke, Nina was trying to resist temptation when it comes to Sonny. How’s that going?

Carly tells Valentin, Nina’s been hurt badly; so what? Many of them have endured trauma. Carrying on isn’t a miracle; it’s life. He says she’s been fortunate. She has multiple safety nets; her mother, her brother, her children, friends. Nina really only has three people she can count on. She has Phyllis, she has Wiley… Carly says, Sonny, and Valentin says, the relationship is important to Nina. Carly says, who Sonny chooses to love is his own business, but it’s not Wiley’s job to be Nina’s emotional support. He says, Phyllis is highly protective of Nina. Does Carly really think Phyllis would give Nina that loyalty if she didn’t deserve it? She says, Phyllis nursed Nina when she was pregnant and in a coma. Was Phyllis there when Nina gave birth? He asks why on earth she’d need to know that.

Nina says, nothing is going on with her and Sonny, and Ava says, nothing at all? Nina says, they danced, and Ava asks if that’s a euphemism. Nina wonders why Ava’s mind is always in the gutter, and Ava says, she can’t help it. Will Nina stop being coy, and tell her if she and Sonny are an item or not? Amy walks in, and Nina asks how she’s doing. Amy says, she’s terrible thanks, and Nina? Nina says she’s sorry to hear that, and Amy says, all she wanted was a day off. Is that a crime? Ava says she’s not sure they’re the ones to arbitrate what constitutes a crime, and Nina says, she hopes the rest of Amy’s day is better. If there’s anything she can do, let her know. Amy pulls up a chair, and says she’s glad Nina asked.   

Chet says, on Valentine’s Day, he knew Terry hadn’t noticed his prosthetic legs. He should have told her that night, but he chose not to because they were having such a nice time. So he chose to tell her through text, which was nerve wracking and a bit dishonest. She says she didn’t feel it was dishonest, but why didn’t he tell her that night? Was he afraid she’s be turned off? He says, it’s happened before, and she says she’s sorry some people are like that. She wasn’t turned off. If anything, she was in awe of his bravery, and she understands why he’d want to hold back disclosing deeply personal matters at first. They didn’t even know each other’s names. They didn’t know they’d keep in touch or form any kind of relationship. He asks if she was nervous when she told him, and she says, terrified. That’s how she knew she liked him. She’s worked hard to be proud of who she is, and the many challenges she’s overcome to live her truth, to be who she’s truly meant to be. She has to admit, she would have been devastated if he’d decided dating a trans woman was a deal breaker. He says, rejecting her would have been his loss, and she says, and hers if she’d rejected him for not having the legs he was born with. He says he knows their situations aren’t the same. He doesn’t have to worry about violence against him or laws being passed that curtail his rights, but he does worry about not being seen. She says, that’s all people want, right? To be seen for their individual inherent beauty and dignity. He says, to be accepted, and she says, and to be loved, if it’s in the cards.

Rory says, if Trina had been with him at The Chuck, he might have understood what he was looking at, and she says, first of all, she told him, art is subjective, and secondly, that’s what docents are for. He says, and third of all, he has no idea what a docent is, but she was partially right before. Esme almost walks in, but sees Rory, and stands outside, listening. Rory says, as an officer, he’s not allowed to socialize with anyone who’s the subject of an active investigation, and Trina says, then maybe he shouldn’t be talking to her in public, but he says, there’s no rule against bumping into her, which is what happened. Besides, when she beats those charges… She says, if she beats them, and he says, she will. Outside, Esme rolls her eyes and smiles.  

Cameron says, sometimes it takes a village to bring down a lying snake. Trina and Josslyn can help them. Spencer says, no offense, but Cameron’s girlfriend is a hothead, and she can’t stand Esme. Cameron says, neither can anyone else, and Spencer says, his point is, if Esme pushes the right buttons, Josslyn is going to come out swinging, and blow everything up. He knows he can do this; he just needs time. Cameron says, they don’t have time. With each passing day, Trina’s trial grows closer, and without another suspect, the worse it is for her. Spencer says, no one wants to help Trina more than him, and Cameron says, there’s got to be a loose end somewhere. Somewhere there’s evidence linking Esme to the crime that incriminates her. Spencer just has to find it. Spencer says, when? He and Esme are always together. Cameron says he doesn’t see her now, and Spencer says she went to yoga class. Trust that in an hour’s time, she’ll be coming through that door, just in time for him to finish his shift. Cameron says, then go. He’ll stall Esme.

Curtis says, it’s true Marshall suddenly appearing in his life brought up some feelings, and TJ says he can understand that, but going against Marshall’s wishes and investigating his past didn’t only affect Curtis. Curtis says he had to investigate. He had to know if Marshall was bringing danger to TJ, Aunt Stella, Portia, to all the people he loves. TJ says, so he had Marshall investigated, and Curtis says, he had to know. TJ says, now that he knows, what did it cost him? Was it worth it, because it wasn’t to him. He was just getting to know his grandfather, when Marshall left without a word to him. Curtis says, goodbyes aren’t Marshall’s strong suit, and TJ says, Marshall had his faults, but he was making an effort. He was making an effort with Curtis, with him, Epiphany, Aunt Stella, even Portia and Trina, and he’s going to miss Marshall. Did Curtis consult with Aunt Stella before digging into Marshall’s past? Curtis says he told Aunt Stella found out he was digging into Marshall’s past, and asked him to leave it alone. TJ says he wishes Curtis would have listened, because now they’ve all lost contact with Marshall. Curtis says, TJ doesn’t get it; this was Marshall’s choice. TJ says, oh no. Curtis made a unilateral decision to protect them without their buy in. That’s Curtis’s choice, and he has to live with it.

Terry asks Chet to tell her about his job at the gym, and he says, he’s not saving lives like she is, but it’s cool to watch people work on themselves; getting stronger, surpassing expectations. She says, it must be gratifying helping people achieve their personal goals, and he says, it is. It’s also a constant reminder for him to work on his own. She asks what his biggest goal is, and he says, to impress her. How’s he doing?

Amy asks who Dr. Randolph is to dictate whether she gets a manicure or not? and Ava says, it does seem like a bit of an overreach. Amy says, and how to store patient files, but Nina says, that part does seem to be in her purview. Amy says, Terry is singling her out. She deserves respect too. Nina asks how Man Landers would advise, and Amy says she hasn’t given professional advice in years, but Nina says she still has the insight, wisdom, and wit. What would she advise two women who have friction at work? Amy says, she’d start by advising the innocent woman to get a drink, the stronger, the better. She goes to the bar, and Ava says, nice try. At least the woman Amy is in conflict with is at work. She wonders what Man Landers would advise about conflicts at home. Nina says she has a feeling Ava is speaking about herself. What woman is she having friction with? Ava says, she’s not a woman. this is a treacherous, teenage she-devil.

Rory says, him telling Trina that she’s going to beat the charges, doesn’t undermine his objectivity as an officer of the law. She says, of course (🍷) not, Officer Cabrera, and he says he told her to call him Rory. She says she thought that was only if she called him, and he laughs. Esme continues to listen, and Rory says he’s got to run. Esme rolls her eyes and smiles, and Joss tells Rory, leaving so soon? He says he’ll see them around, and leaves. Trina asks if Josslyn could be more obvious, and Josslyn says, she’s just speeding things along. It’s pretty clear they’re into each other. Trina says, the guy’s a cop; he’s friendly. That’s as far as it goes. Josslyn says, maybe she could ask Dante to find out if he’s single, and Trina tells her, don’t you dare. Josslyn says, there are worse people to crush on, and Trina says, like Spencer? Is Josslyn trying to hook her up with Rory to keep her away from Spencer? Josslyn says, Rory, huh? She just wants Trina to be with somebody worthy of her. Not somebody selfish, needy, and entitled. Somebody unattached, who can reciprocate her feelings. Trina says, she kicked Spencer and Esme out of the gallery the other night, and Josslyn asks why they were even there. Trina says, Spencer was there to do work for his restitution, and of course (🍷) Esme followed him there like a creepy, jealous parasite.   

Valentin wonders why Carly is asking about the day Nina gave birth, and Carly says, because it occurred to her that Phyllis might have a soft spot for Nina because she feels guilty about her role in giving Nina’s baby away. He says, and she thinks guilt is the only thing that motivates loyalty. She says, it’s the way Nina motivated Harmony about visitation with Wiley, and he asks why Harmony would feel guilty about Wiley. She says, Harmony felt guilty about many things. She wanted to redeem herself any way she could. He asks why Sonny feels guilty, and she says, he’s got her there. Sonny spent months lying to her. She has no idea why he’s so fascinated with Nina. Maybe it’s Stockholm Syndrome.

Esme walks into Kelly’s and asks if Spence is around, but Cameron says, no. Their supplier forgot the milk, so he sent Spencer on a grocery run. She asks if he thinks it will be long; she has something she can’t wait to tell him. He says, it will take as long as it takes. Would she like to order something in the meantime while she waits? She says, no. Just tell him that she came by. She starts to leave, but he says, hold up, and blocks her way, saying, just a minute.

Spencer takes pictures of Esme’s room, and sees a picture of him and Esme on the nightstand. He opens the frame, but finds nothing. He says, of course (🍷) it won’t be that easy. He looks through a cupboard.

Josslyn says, maybe Officer Handsome can help them, but Trina says, she knows he can’t. Josslyn asks, why? Because he’s all about truth and justice? Esme is all about lying and criminal behavior, and Rory has resources. Trina says she’s stopping Josslyn there. It’s not fair to put Rory in that position. Rory comes back and says, goodnight, and when he’s gone, Trina says, she’s not asking Rory for help. Esme has ruined enough lives. Josslyn says she doesn’t feel like yoga anymore. Does Trina want to get a milkshake? Trina says, yeah, and Josslyn says she needs something to take her mind off everything that’s happened. Trina was arrested, she and Cam are on shaky ground, and that sex tape is going to follow them forever. What if future employers do an internet search on her, and it pops up? Trina says she thought that hacker guy took it off, but Josslyn says, you never know. Trina says she knows what they’re up against; she just doesn’t know what to do about it except learn to live with it. Josslyn says, no; that’s the last thing they should do. Esme set them both up. She violated Josslyn’s privacy, and stole a very intimate moment of hers, and framed Trina for it. Esme brought this fight to them, and they’re going to take it to her. Trina asks, how? and Josslyn says, she made a mistake. Josslyn doesn’t know what or when, but there has to be evidence out there that proves Esme is guilty. And when they find it, Esme is going to prison. 

Cameron says he thinks they need to clear the air, but Esme says she doesn’t want to do this. She knows he and Joss think she’s a terrible person. He tells her, he knows he’s said things, but she needs to understand, Trina is Josslyn’s best friend, and Josslyn is his girlfriend. Esme says she gets it; he’ll always have Josslyn’s back, even when she’s wrong. She wishes her boyfriend was as loyal as he is. He asks what she’s talking about; she’s all Spencer thinks about. She says, then why did he waffle on her innocence after Trina made those crazy accusations that weren’t even true? Cameron says, the situation is complicated, and Spencer’s been all over the place. He even went so far as to accuse him, Josslyn, and Trina of being in it all together. That’s why they had the fight. Esme says, Spencer accused them… She knows it’s absolute rubbish. Cameron and Joss would never. He says, the point is, Spencer’s got her back. Don’t turn away from him now. Don’t sweat it; it will all work out for the best. She asks if he really believes that, and he says he’s counting on it, for his sake and Josslyn’s. She thanks him, and says, she feels so alone. Spencer’s father is doing his best to be a good host, but she misses having friends. Like him. She always felt he kept an open mind about her. She’s sorry they got off track. He says, no matter what anyone thinks about her, he’ll always treat her in the way she deserves, and she hugs him.

Terry says, Chet is no Tanner, and Chet says, that mystic being vibrating at a higher frequency when he was really… She says, a broke, misogynistic blowhard. Chet says, at least he set the bar low; it shouldn’t be too hard to surpass him. She says she’ll give him her review on their second date. That is, if he’s going to… He says, his answer is an unequivocable yes to a second date. She thanks him for the save. This has been so much fun, it almost made her forget her morning. He says, hard day at work? and she says she’s had worse. Just a dustup with a colleague. She doesn’t want to bring personal pettiness to GH. He says, GH? He thought she worked at Mercy. She says she does consulting at Mercy, but she works for GH. He says, his sister works there. Maybe Terry knows her.

Nina says, don’t tell her that Esme is acting inappropriately, and Ava asks, when is she ever appropriate? She’s ingratiating herself with Nikolas. Nikolas is so desperate to seem like hero in Spencer’s eyes, he’s blind to her manipulations. It’s taking a toll. Nina says, and Nikolas doesn’t recognize how unhappy Ava is? Ava says, he does now that she canceled their vow renewal ceremony. Nina says, she’s sorry, and Ava says, never have a stepson. Although if Nina marries Sonny, she’ll have two stepsons, and three stepdaughters. She would love that. Can Nina picture Carly coming to pick up Donna from her? Nina says she thinks they’re getting a little ahead of themselves, and Ava says, maybe they should. She’s coming pretty hard at Michael and Willow. Someday they could be family too. Nina says she doesn’t care. She’s coming at Michael and Willow with everything she’s got.

Curtis says, he thought Marshall was on the run from a dangerous criminal element, and TJ says, and he wasn’t? Curtis says, no. He never ran afoul of the law, and was never in the Witness Protection Program. He got arrested at a protest that got out of control. Instead of going to prison the judge remanded him to a mental facility. TJ asks, how long was he there? What was his diagnosis? Curtis tells him, the records he had access to didn’t say, and Marshall wasn’t about to tell him. TJ says, there’s a lot of stigma attached to mental illness, and for a man Marshall’s age, it’s even worse. It’s no surprise he took off. He feels that Curtis violated his privacy. Curtis says he’s not going to apologize for trying to protect them, and TJ says, he’s not asking Curtis to apologize. He respects Curtis’s choice; he just hopes Curtis respects his. Curtis says, which is? and TJ says he’s not ready to give up on Marshall. He intends to find Marshall and bring him back.

Chet says he knows GH has tons of people, but Terry might know her. Terry says, a name would help. And while they’re at it, she supposes they should get around to each other’s last names. She’s Dr. Terry Randolph. She holds out her hand, and he shakes it, saying, they covered a lot of ground, but not the basics. He’s Chet Driscoll. She says, and his sister is… He says, same last name. Amy Driscoll. Does Terry know her?

Outside Charlie’s, Amy runs into Nurse Julie, and Julie says, small world. She just saw Amy’s brother at the MetroCourt Garden. Amy says, that doesn’t sound like Chet. What was he doing there? Julie says, meeting their boss for drinks. Amy says, their boss? and Julie says, Dr. Randolph. They seemed to be having a great time. She goes in, and Amy mouths, no.

Spencer looks under Esme’s bed, but there isn’t even a dust bunny. He goes into the closet and takes more pictures. He looks through the stack of shoe boxes, and says, this season… last season… this season… Three seasons ago. That’s very unlike Esme. He opens the box, and says, what do we have here?

Esme tells Cameron, it means so much that he’s not turning his back on her. She thanks him for being so kind. She’s so glad he’s his own man. Josslyn says, no. He’s her man, and Esme has five seconds to take her tentacles off of him. Esme sees Josslyn standing there with Trina.

Ava says, if Nina goes after Carly’s son, Carly will rip her throat out. Nina says, well, he’s still walking around, isn’t he? He’s still alive. Carly let Nina’s daughter fall to her death when she could have saved her. Carly isn’t going to take away her grandson too. She didn’t want this fight, but now that she’s in it, she’s going to come out guns blazing. And Carly better hope to God she’s not in the line of fire. They both look toward the door, and realize Carly has walked in.

Tomorrow, Josslyn asks why Cameron would hurt Trina that way; Spencer wonders what else Esme is hiding; Michael says, it’s not that simple; and Ned says, if Drew wants to help, call it off.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Port Mahon. Glenn says he thinks Gabriela will land on her feet, and he’ll work at getting a replacement. In Daisy’s interview, she says she feels like a master failure. She failed Gabriela, herself, and the crew. She asks how Ashley feels, and Ashley says, relieved, even though she knows she’ll have more work. Daisy says, it’s not ideal, but she thinks it’s what was best for Gabriela. Ashely says she’s not worried about the upcoming charter, and Daisy says, they might have a new stew by the next one. And Ashley is going to listen to them. Ashley says, but she will be moving her bunk. Kelsie tells Marcos that she would have liked to see Gabriela finish the season, and he pretends to be sympathetic, saying, it sucks. Daisy asks if Glenn thinks Gabriela will be okay, and he says he thinks so. It’s upsetting where her head is at, but she made the right decision. Everyone will help this charter, and he hopes to get a replacement before the next one. He tells Gary to try not to sleep with the next stew, and Gary tells Daisy, he only came on this season to find love, but his heart is devoted to her.

Glenn says, the new deckhand is arriving in an hour, and Daisy tells Ashley, she thinks they’ll be fine since there’s six guests. Ashley will mostly be on housekeeping. In Daisy’s interview, she says, being a man down means longer hours, and she doesn’t deal well with being tired. Marcos says he’ll help, and Glenn calls Daisy and Gary to the wheelhouse. He tells them that the deckhand is coming in an hour, and he’s still working on getting a stew. The boat is readied for the guests, when new deckhand Barnaby arrives, and I can’t help but say, ‘Allo, Guv’nor! In Kelsie’s interview, she says, hallelujah! Another set of hands. He introduces himself to Glenn, and in her interview, Kelsie says, he has Jesus hair, so that’s a no for her. It’s not that long, so I’m not sure what she means. Barnaby meets Gary, and Ashley says, a new man. Glenn asks if Barnaby has sailing experience, and Barnaby says, quite a lot. In his interview, he says, he grew up in Singapore. When he was eleven, his dad got a boat. They started racing, and realized they were good at it, and won championships. Then they got an actual racing boat. Gary says, they’ve been without a deckhand for two charters, and shows Barnaby around. He tells Barnaby that he’ll be bunking with the captain. They’re going to be picking up a charter soon, and it’s going to be hectic. Gary takes him on a walkaround, and says, he’ll basically give the boat a rinse down and shammy. He shows Barnaby where the tools are, and in the galley, Marcos tells himself that he can do this.

Barnaby tells Kelsie that when he got the call for the job, he was in Greece teaching rich people water sports. In Barnaby’s interview, he says, he had a lucky break on Necker Island, teaching kite sailing to the rich and famous. When you work on a superyacht and private islands, you know the lifestyle and want it for yourself. A producer asks if he wants to get rich by osmosis, and he says, that’s it. He asks what they did to drive off the last guy, and she says, they ran aground while he was on anchor watch. Gary says, the boat looks good; they’re smashing it. Glenn tells them to get ready to greet the guests.

The primary is Dr. Kim Nichols who, on her preference sheet, said she wanted everyone to address her as doctor, and will be known here as KIM from this point forward. Glenn formally welcomes them, and Daisy gives the tour. Seeing the bags, Barnaby wonders if the charter is for a month. Daisy takes drink orders, and KIM’s husband Chris wants a Transfusion, which involves grape juice. Daisy says, they don’t have grape juice in Europe, and Chris says, they make wine, so they have grapes. We can already see he’s going to be a d-bag, but he does have a point. Everyone orders their drinks, and Chris orders shots of tequila for everyone. Guest Dino orders Bloody Marys with grilled shrimp and bacon as a garnish, and as Daisy goes to the galley, she says, we’re f***ed. She tells Marcos that she’s being slammed with cocktails, and asks him to grill some shrimp and bacon. He also sends out sliders, and the guests marvel at the cute, tiny cheeseburgers. They do look good. Ashley serves, and Gary shows Barnaby more stuff. Dino says, the bacon is weak, and I have no idea what he means. He says he also asked for jumbo shrimp, which he didn’t, and Daisy informs Marcos. She explains he should make American bacon, so I guess what Dino meant was a small portion. In Marcos’s interview, he says, if they complain about things this small, they’re going to be demanding. It’s not going to end. The deckhands clear the lines, and Chris asks Daisy to steam everything. He tells KIM that she gets to take a break this weekend. Daisy tells Ashley that everything needs to be steamed, but she doesn’t know where to begin. Ashley says, it will take three days to unpack this sh*t. Daisy says, they’re ridiculous. On the bow, Chris tells Glen, this is dope, and Dino wants a cold beer. Ashley says, this is a load of sh*t. This is insane.

Chris tells KIM that she doesn’t have to force down a luke warm drink, and asks Gary for a refresher. Gary tells Daisy that they said the ice melted too quick, and she says, it’s going to be one of those charters. In Daisy’s interview, she says, the guests don’t realize they’re a stew down, but she thinks if they did, they still wouldn’t give a f***. Glenn says they’re going to sail, and Gary explains sail stuff to Barnaby. Ashley gets to steaming, the engines are turned off, and things start to slide. The guests sleep in the sun, as they sail and dolphins go by. Chris wakes up, says, he’s thirsty again, and calls for Ashley, who’s busy in the laundry room. He nabs Colin, and asks him to get her. Colin lets Daisy know his majesty wants a drink. Barnaby is already holding his own, and Gary says, it makes a difference when someone knows what they’re doing on board. In Gary’s interview, he says, it’s great to see his deck team shaping up nicely. KIM wakes up and realizes she missed the whole sail. Drinks are ordered, and Daisy says, they’re the kind of people whose drinks are half drunk, and they need another drink. It’s wasteful. In Marcos’s interview, he says, he hates to see his co-workers dragging. He has to help. If the food sucks, it’s double the problem. Gary tells Colin, imagine having a doctor who looked like KIM. He’d be going to the doctor all the time. Colin asks what’s up with Ashley, but Gary says, he’s not going near her; she’s too clingy. Colin says, she’s desperate, and Gary wonders about the new stew. They drop anchor.

KIM wanders to the front of the boat, and Chris is afraid she’ll fall off. She says, oh for romance, and the guests decide to go to the hot tub. Ashley says, this is so f***ed up, and they ask for clams on the half shell, shrimp cocktails, and clams casino. Gary goes over anchor watch with Barnaby, saying, wake him up if the wind gets to 20 knots. Chris wants dinner at 10:30, but KIM wants it at 9, and says, don’t tell her what to do. Daisy tells Ashley that she doesn’t know how tonight is going to go, and Ashley asks if they’re fighting. Daisy tells her, they’re arguing about what time to have dinner, and Ashley says, if that screaming doctor messes with her, she’ll stab her in the throat with a knife. Alrighty then.

Marcos tells Daisy, 10:30 is too much, and in Daisy’s interview, she says, it’s going to be a long f***ing night for sure. She tells Marcos that they’ll go with 10. Gary cleans up, and Ashley curses her life. At 9:30, Daisy asks Ashley to check on the guests, and they’re all still snoring. Ashley tells Daisy, they’re doors are shut, and Daisy says, they’re still in bed. She tells Marcos, they’ll assume 10:30, and in her interview, she says, it’s bollocks. The guests finally dress for dinner, and Daisy radios Marcos that they’re sitting down. Everyone wants complicated drinks, and Daisy asks Ashley for help. So far, she’s been shockingly managing. In his interview, Marcos says, he’s making a five-course meal. He wants to entertain the guests. If they love the food, it’s hard complain about little sh*t. Marco comes up with the first course, and Chris asks what they have. KIM’s boob is literally half hanging out of her top, and in Marco’s interview, he says, it’s hard to concentrate with her nipple saying, hello Marcos. He stumbles through the description, and still struggles when telling the guests about the next course. A tomahawk steak is brought up, and it looks like something that would be on The Flintstones. KIM says, the food is ridiculous, and Chris finally notices that Daisy is doing everything, and asks where her girls are at. She says, usually there are three of them, but unfortunately, someone had to go home. Meanwhile, Ashley is still unpacking stuff, and Daisy tells Kelsie that KIM is wasted. A fabulous desert is brought up, and KIM is so drunk, she wonders if they ate the regular course. She offers Marcos a permanent job, and in his interview, he tells himself to keep it together. Because of course no one told her, and her boob is still hanging out. After dinner, Dino wants to get jiggy with it, asks for shots, then wants to go skinny dipping. Daisy brings the shots, and Chris asks for music upstairs. Daisy is trying to do fifty different things, and asks Gary for help. Chris yells for blankets and music, and Dino whines that it’s cold. He wants tequila. Daisy brings Chris some blankets, and Dino gets behind the bar while Daisy is trying to sort the music out. He says he’s aggravated at the whole crew, and Chris demands more drinks. KIM says she’s done, and goes to bed, and Chris complains that the evening came to an abrupt ending. Dino tries to tip Daisy, and when she says she can’t accept it, he throws it at her. In her interview, she says, he can take his 100 Euro note and shove it up his hole. He has no class, no manners, and doesn’t deserve his wife. Chris tells KIM, they’re a bunch of effing a-holes, and she blathers on about how she paid $60K for the trip. Everyone finally goes to bed, but poor Daisy is still working at 3 am.

In the morning, the crew is exhausted, and Ashley says, the guests drank a lot yesterday. Glenn can’t believe they were still eating 2 am, and Marcos says, it looked like they were having fun. In Marcos’s interview, he says, he slept four hours; it’s going to be a long day. He has to man up and keep going. Glenn says, they should have a stew by the next charter, and everyone waits for the guests to get up. Marcos spins a pizza pan on his finger, and the guests toddle out about 1:45. Daisy radios Marcos about Bloody Marys. In Gary’s interview, he says he feels like Kelsie is slow. The hamster is on the wheel, but not running fast. The guests do some water sports, and Marcos decides on a Japanese dinner. In his interview, he says, these are the type of guests that want to feel rich, and Japanese food is elegant. Nice clean cuts and nice presentation. It’s art. The guests come out of the water, and Gary asks Kelsie to have a bit more urgency with her work. In Kelsie’s interview, she says she didn’t think she was slow. It’s just that Gary’s style is fast and frazzled. Kelsie 2.0, fast and frazzled, coming at you live. Dino instructs Daisy to crush raspberries and blueberries in his Moscow Mule. Daisy says she officially hates her name. Chris decides they can blend grapes for a Transfusion, and in Daisy’s interview, she says, she wants to tell him to go f*** himself. She’s physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. Kelsie loses a pin from a piece of equipment in the water, and Gary is not happy.

Daisy thinks the guests’ requests are ridiculous, and Gary bitches to Glenn about Kelsie. In Kelsie’s interview, she says, today’s not her day. Daisy blends grapes, and Ashley says, grape juice is literally processed sugar. Marcos tells Daisy, tell them the grapes in Europe are very sweet. Gary brings the drinks out, and Dino asks if he’s Daisy. Gary says he can be if Dino wants, and the Transfusions are declared excellent. Chris orders two more and a margarita, and Daisy is like, f***. The guests shout to a neighboring boat, and Daisy tells Barnaby that if he squeezes limes for the margaritas, he’ll make his chief stew happy. In Barnaby’s interview, he says, he doesn’t want to be on Daisy’s wrong side. If he looks out for her, she’ll look out for him. Gary asks how Daisy thinks the tip will be, and she whispers, sh*tty, in his ear. Glenn walks by, and tells them to get a room, but Gary says, she wants kids, and he’s not down for that. Chris tells Daisy that they want dinner at 11; chick time 11:15. In Daisy’s interview, she says, f*** my life. These inconsiderate guests are making it impossible for them to go to sleep. If this is a repeat of last night, she literally might throw someone overboard. They’re going be here all night.
