When we last left, Captain Lee told the crew he didnāt want to hear loud voices and slamming doors, and to get to bed, emphasizing his point by slamming the door. In his interview, he said they were acting like a-holes, and there was going to be hell to pay in the morning.
Kate cries, and Tanner gives Ashton a goodnight kiss. Kate tells Rhylee, theyāre all so awful, and Rhylee says, everyone has a breaking point. In Rhyleeās interview, she says Kate has a hard exterior, but sheās still vulnerable. She knows how Kate feels. Sheād rather have explosive diarrhea than work with these guys. Kate says, everybody hates everybody. In Kateās interview, she says if this kind of behavior had been allowed when she started in yachting, she wouldnāt still be there. Sheās over these misogynist a-holes. If they want to make her the bad guy, she can play that game.
Ashton says, there was drama last night. In his interview, Captain Lee says, itās been an extremely tough season. Theyāve had injuries, people quitting, and personality issues. The crew are acting like children. Heās pissed, and heās not putting up with it. He calls everyone to the main salon. Kate tells Courtney that it was a nightmare hearing four males saying her name and laughing. She asked what they were talking about, and it was a delightful conversation.
The captain tells the crew, what happened last night is past. He doesnāt give a flying about that. All he cares about going forward, is the next charter. If anyone feels they canāt get along, they can pack their effing bags and leave. If anyone thinks theyāre safe because itās charter nine, and he wonāt fire someone mid-charter, they donāt know him. Even the crickets are quiet. He tells them, that being said, he doesnāt see anyone getting up to leave, so go to work. He says, itās only two and a half days. He can eat a sh*t sandwich every second for two and a half days. And if he can do it, they can.
Ashton has meeting with Tanner and Brian, not waiting for Rhylee. In Ashtonās interview, he says his first season as bosun wasnāt easy. He got dumped with Rhyleeās sh*t, and wants to stay as far away as possible. Kate calls to schedule massage therapists for the guests. Provisions arrive, including flower crowns. Jemele Hill is the primary, and the stews discuss her working for ESPN. Kate thinks itās going to be fun; the best charter ever. Kate sits on the dock having a smoke, and messing with her phone. Tanner asks if she wants to make a sex tape, and she tells him to let it happen organically. In her interview, she tells us, he said it, so it canāt happen today.
Rhylee tells Brian that sheās happy to see that he and Courtney are good, but he saysĀ theyāre not good again. In her interview, Courtney says Brian isnāt ready emotionally. He looks at everything like sheās being disloyal. Sheās more than willing to have a constructive conversation, but calling her out on everything she doesnāt agree with him on isnāt acceptable. Kevin asks Kate if she remembers when he wasnāt allowed in the pantry, and she says he is now. In his interview, he says, one more charter. He can do this. Just hold it together.
Courtney asks Brian if heād like a chat, since he was mad at her again. He says she was sticking up for Kate, and stormed off, affecting everything. Both Courtney and I are wondering if heās on the same boat. She says that didnāt happen. She was crying, and he walked past her to the van. He says itās his fault again. In his interview, he says, loyalty is a big thing in his life. He and his friends all came from broken homes, and all they had was friendship. Itās disappointing that Courtney doesnāt have his back. He tells her, itās the last charter, and heās effing done. He canāt be a nice guy all the time. He calls her bru, and I want to smack him. She starts crying in the galley, and Kevin hugs her. Brian tells Tanner, he hates this boat. Courtney was upset and crying last night. Now sheās crying again, and he feels like an idiot. Kate hugs Courtney as she cries some more.
Brian complains to Tanner and Ashton about Courtney pointing her finger at him all the time. Itās always about what he did, and never anything she did. In Courtneyās interview, she says she doesnāt want to be in a relationship where she has to walk on eggshells to accommodate the other person. She doesnāt want to waste time on people who arenāt worthy. The captain says the guests are arriving in five minutes. Kate says, everyone in the crew is cracking. She asks Captain Lee if he ever wants to throw up and smile at the same time. The guests arrive, Kate distributes the flower crowns, and Simone passes out champagne. The captain welcomes everyone, Kate gives the tour, and the luggage is brought on board. The Valor heads out for the last time.
One of Jemeleās friends tells Kate that Jemele just got engaged, and gives her a big sign and balloons to hang. In Kateās interview, she says the guests requested a 90s bachelorette party, and she loves the 90s. She went to a lot of ska shows and smoked a lot of pot. She loves these guests so much. In Kevinās interview, he says, itās the last charter, and heās super excited. He wants to give the guests top level service, and knock their socks off with something special. While Brian and Ashton eat in the galley, Rhylee takes her food to her cabin. Brian says, itās a shame, Ashton smiles, and I want to smack them both. In Simoneās interview, she says Jemele is an inspiration, and the guests are kick ass. Thank you, charter gods. Kevin sings, and Courtney opens more champagne. Jemele tells Simone to blink twice if the chefās not that good. The guests make a toast, and lunch is served. Jemele wants to feel the love in the food when she tastes it. The guests agree the lunch is everything.
Kate tells Kevin that regardless of whether sheās on service, she still wants to know all the elements of the meal. Kevin says sheās never around, and calls her an effing weirdo. The boat coasts into Koh Nok, and Jemele says lunch was perfect, and theyād like dinner at 9. The jet skis are put out, and Tanner and Ashton help take the guests out. Jemele tells her friends that she has a stern observation about Kateās coolness. She thinks theyāre getting on Kateās nerves. Another guest says Kate is just doing her job. When Kate asks if they need anything, Jemele tells Kate to promise not to cuss her out, and asks if they annoyed her. It seems like theyāre getting on her nerves. Kate says sheās sorry they feel that way. In Kateās interview, she says she feels like sheās in the Twilight Zone. Jemele is acting like Dean. We flash back to primary Dean basically calling Kate a bitch a million seasons ago. She says theyāre in Thailand on a yacht. Look elsewhere for satisfaction besides her face. Kate insists they didnāt get on her nerves, and Jemele says they will. Kate says, challenge accepted.
Jemele says sheās never had a dude buy hair for her, and another guest says, just ask for the money, and wherever it lands, it lands. Kate tells Rhylee what Jemele said to her, and Rhylee asks if sheās sure Jemele just didnāt wonder if theyāre being too demanding. Kate says, there hasnāt been enough interaction for them to make a judgement. Jemele tells Simone that sheās the first girl of color theyāve seen in a yacht crew, and says some encouraging words. Simone tells Kevin, the guests are amazing. Kate tells Rhylee, the guests are a-holes. As he cooks, Kevin sings, it smells like heaven, or should I say Kevin? In his interview, Kevin says heās wrapping snapper in banana leaves with some local mango for the finale, and making a banging chocolate/peanut butter tart. Kate tells Courtney that the guests werenāt getting on her nerves, but they are now. In Simoneās interview, she says now that Jemele is putting Kate on the spot, she loves her. The guests play Never Have I Ever, which I think is the Dumbest Game Ever.
Kate calls the deckhands to help set up the bachelorette party. In Kateās interview, she says sheās normally not super enthusiastic to throw a party for guests who are annoying, but since theyāll be getting d*cks shoved in their faces, she is. She is that cocky. (BA-DUM-CHH!) Rhylee blows up balloons, and one blows back at her. The guests get ready for the party. In Courtneyās interview, she says she loves the 90s; The Spice Girls, Tamagotchi. She was five, but she loved it.
The guests dance and drink. Jemele says sheās going through an awkward transition, and calls Kate over. In Kateās interview, she says Jemele is looking for reasons to get mad at her, but surprise! Jemele apologizes, saying, early on, she got the wrong impression, and judged Kate prematurely. Kate asks if sheās having a great time. Jemele says she is, and Kate says thatās all she wants to know. In her interview, Kate says she loves an apology. Sheās been called bitch this season more times than sheās been called Kate, but a bitch recognizes another bitch, and she thinks respect is happening. The guests go to bed, and Courtney cleans up the decorations.
I hate the dudesā alarm clock because it sounds exactly like mine, and always startles me. The boat moves on, and hungover guests toddle out the next morning. One of Jemeleās friends says when Jemele is drunk, she gets turnt up. Tanner tells Brian, it feels like the last day of school, senior year. Heās still hopeful about Kate, and wants to see if she comes to him. Ashton tells Rhylee to drop the hook, and ready the anchor. Jemele tells the others that she woke up naked, but alone. They agree it was a great night, and Jemele asks for a shot of bourbon for breakfast. Kevin says heās nervous about the d*ck tonight. The guests requested an erotic cake, and heās never made a freestanding c*ck.
Kate tells the guests that theyāll be getting massages on the beach, and lunch at 12:30. Kevin wants the food served in Pyrex dishes, and Kate tries to explain they have a lot of sh*t to carry, and she has to lift and serve it. He calls her a d*ck, and in her interview, she says sheās sick and tired of every word out of his mouth. We flash back to some of the many times Kevin was an a-hole throughout the season. She says sheās being called a d*ck over casserole dishes. She has a gift for creative revenge that she only uses when sheās really angry. Congratulations. Heās made her really angry.
Rhylee feels like sheās being paid to take a break all season. In his interview, Ashton says heās been doing things on Rhyleeās terms. Up to this point, heās made an effort to do things differently to suit her, but he feels defeated. He wonders what he has to do to satisfy her. Sheās a junior deckhand with so much to say. Kevin tells Simone thereās a lot of drama with the crew, so heās happy the guests arenāt a-holes. Simone says Kate is the worst human sheās had to work with. Kevin likes how Simone stays out of it, and Simone says, it pisses Kate off when she doesnāt react, so thatās why she doesnāt. In Kevinās interview, he says on the other boats heās worked, the chef and chief stew try to get along, making an effort for both of them to shine, but thereās no trust between him and Kate. She doesnāt have his back, and itās sad.
Tanner and Ashton set up the canopies on the beach, while Kate decorates. Simone and Brian bring the guests over. In Ashtonās interview, he says beach picnics are normally a pita, but they found an incredible gem of a beach. He canāt think of a better way to finish the season. It is really beautiful; a little cove shaded by trees. Kate greets the guests with welcome shots. The masseuses are there, and the guests take turns getting massages. Lunch is served, and one of them says itās their favorite meal so far. In the galley, Tanner tells Kevin, eggs are gross. Kevin says, they are, but theyāre cool. Huh? Kevin designs his cake, and Tanner suggests putting Betty Cocker on it. Ha-ha-ha! In Kevinās interview, he says, this is harder than he expected, and we both laugh at his pun. On the beach, the guests are finishing with lunch. A lantern blows away, and Simone chases it.
The guests go back to the boat, and the beach stuff is taken back down. Rhylee meets the guests with towels, while Courtney has popsicles. Simone tells Kevin that the food was great. Kevin ices his cake, and Kate says his d*ck cake is amazing. She wonders if it takes one to make one. Brian and Courtney eat lunch in silence. In his interview, Brian wishes things were back to normal with Courtney. He hates drama and awkwardness, and wants to sort it out.
Kate tells the captain that itās windy, and asks if thereās any chance of it dying down, but he says, it doesnāt appear so. In Kevinās interview, he says the guests are lovely people, and he wants to go the extra mile for them. Captain Lee joins the guests for dinner. In Kateās interview, she says, primaries who have a shot of whiskey for breakfast usually donāt make it to dinner and dessert. Kevin makes balls, and says heās getting more and more into it. Heās going to make the best goddam c*ck cake he can. He wants to finish on a high note. The stews take pictures of the cake. Jemele says she needs a nap. In Kateās interview, she says, itās perfect. Kevin put a lot of effort into the cake, and Jemele went to bed. Heās been a d*ck this whole season. Sheās acted like a bitch, but she is a bitch. Sheās been hiding it, but now the bitch is woke, and thereās no going back. The captain says heās never going to retire. If he does, he might as well lay down and have someone shovel dirt on him. He wants to do something for kids who need it, and heās been doing a lot of charity work.
Kate puts a sparkler on top of the cake. Kevin is excited to show the cake to Jemele, and wants the guests to be super happy. He put in a lot of love into it. Captain Lee says, doing something useful with your life keeps you alive a lot longer. Kevin comes in with the cake, and one of the guests says, here they were having such a grown-up conversation, and then a penis came into the room. In Kateās interview, she says her spirit animal is karma, and sheās a bitch. She always comes to people who deserve it. Whoās the d*ck now? Kevin asks where Jemele is, and heās told she went to bed. The captain says heās not taking a bite of that.
Next time ā the season finale ā Kevin says Kate made an evil bitch move, Ashton tells Rhylee theyāre different people and thatās okay (gag), the odds look like theyāre in Tannerās favor, Brian doesnāt want to end on a bad note with Courtney, and Captain Lee says, no sailor ever learned anything in calm seas.

The best I can tell you is this. On the GH Facebook fan page ā not ABC, who is being cagey ā I read there will be no new episodes aired on any platform until the Is-This-Guy-Still-Talking show is over. This could very well be, since I canāt find them anywhere, and even On Demand is showing reruns. Iāll keep you posted.
In the meantime ā POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ā someone also claimed to have seen the next episode after the shootouts. Again, I canāt find it, which is why I canāt be positive on this info. They said that Gladys is the one who led Sonny into the trap by telling him about the medical trial, her son Brando is still alive, and heās behind the ambushes. This sounds like a distinct possibility, except the medical trial was in Manhattan. Gladys would have had to bet on Sonny being in the right place at the right time in Brooklyn.
Besides Dayoung being under the weather, Marquise probably fared the worst, since he scrapped his original idea of pairing the print with a metallic fabric. He felt it made his jacket and skirt ensemble too busy, and used white for the top, gracing it with some sparkly bumblebees (or something) from the trim cart. This would have been fine, but he had difficulty with placing darts, and it ended up looking ill-fitting, and bunched in the wrong places. His solution was to ask the model not to remove the jacket, and keep it as closed as possible.
Sergio was sure he was the winner, with a cocoon coat that would reveal a strapless dress designed to symbolize a butterfly. His tribute to the trans community. His win was not to be, however, and he actually got pissed off about being in the safe group. Everyone else thought safe was just fine.
In the top three, Delvin got high marks for his fitted pantsuit, including a matching belt with a circular buckle, which I loved. Even better, Delvin was a happy man, and it showed. Karlie pronounced it very Versace, and Brandon said Delvinās strongest suit is tailoring, adding he should stay in his lane on that one. It would make him recognizable in a sea of crap. After Delvinās accolades, the judges did us a dirty by leading Victoria, and us, to believe she was on top, when she was really on the bottom. It was a very early season American Idol moment. I have to admit, although I was surprised, I was glad, because when her model came out, all I could think was, what is that? A pair of pants using the print, and a white top with her usual asymmetrical, cut-out style, all dripping with hardware. She said she was afraid of prints, and hated that she didnāt know what she was doing. Ashley thought it was cool, but not a banger, but Brandon said it best by telling her, you can kill it with the hardware, or kill it with the hardware. No surprise, Victoria wasnāt happy, and no doubt it killed her that she used her extra time to help Dayoung, who ended up in the top three, presenting a paneled dress with an Asian inspired vest overlay. Nancy was at the bottom as well, having designed an over-sized pants and jacket combo that Nina said swallowed the model. The judges liked it better with the jacket off, and also marveled at the hidden wine, phone, and dildo pockets, but it wasnāt enough to keep her safe. Marquiseās darts, as well as overuse of the print, landed him in the bottom ā Brandon saying they were at a point where everything needed to be perfect ā and Brittanyās gorgeous creation, cold-shoulder, asymmetrical dress, with 3-D butterflies attached, placed her in the top three. Nina said Brittanyās dress was what a successful collaboration looks like; the artist is celebrated, but the designer is still seen. Victoria pouted about being in the bottom, saying she didnāt like to lose.
When the designers were discussed, Brittany was clearly Ashleyās favorite. She said Brittany had brought her artwork to life, and Nina again said it was a true collaboration. She said she didnāt recognize Victoriaās design as her, and Elaine pointed out that it was the second week that Victoria disregarded the challenge. They agreed that when Victoria is given narrow parameters, she loses herself. Brandon thought Marquiseās darts were unforgivable, and Elaine said that Nancy didnāt know the difference between over-sized and too big.
Brittany was the big winner, Ashley saying her design is what partnership is all about. Victoria was deemed safe, but still brooded when she went backstage, refusing to talk to anyone. I was sure Nancy was going to get the boot ā not that I wanted her to, but I thought Marquiseās past accomplishments might save him. Instead, it was Marquise who was out because of construction issues the judges couldnāt get past. Marquise said it was a blessing for him to have made it this far, being self-taught. Nina said he was going to make it, and he said he thought heād be going home on day one. The opposite of Victoria, he told everyone, no tears, Christian assured him that his work was amazing, and at this point in the competition, the judges were being nitpicky. In his exit interview, Marquise said he wanted to give other self-taught designers hope to go for it. He wanted to show himself to the world, and he did.
Next time, the designers are challenged to make an editorial look, Dayoung has another emergency, and Victoria walks out
Regardless of GHās status, Iāll spill some tea tomorrow, and whatever I can find out, Iāll pass along. I have to get up early, so I might as well take advantage of an early night. Since I usually average about five hours.
Pretty soon, we’ll need to send out a search party for Sonny.

GH was once again preempted for what I like to call, oh my God is this guy still talking? At this point, I have no clue whatās going on with this it, and donāt think they do either. While yesterdayās episode was supposed to shown today, it was noticeably absent. The magic of the internet failed as well, since it was stuck on yesterdayās episode. If anything pops up before I go to bed, Iāll post it, but if not, hereās the link to yesterday if you didnāt catch it:
š¤·š»āāļøĀ I am no good with a spontaneous change in schedule, especially if it involves free time. Not that there is ever any free time ā itās like extra money, always absorbed by a need. Since I went to bed at the crack of dawn, when I realized GH wasnāt happening, I figured Iād catch it online later, took a nap, and overslept. Then I made my uneventful attempt to find it, and realizing for a second time that it wasnāt going to happen, watched a documentary about Courtney Love. Very productive.
š On The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa tried to guilt Marge about not inviting her to the Motherās Day brunch. Jackieās house in the Hamptons is gorgeous, and reminds me of some of the houses here. Not mine. Jackie talked to Teresa, saying Marge didnāt expect her to drop Danielle, but at least have her back about Danielle trying to yank out her ponytail. Marge told Teresa that Charles Manson never did anything to her, but sheās not bringing him into the friend group. This might have been a good analogy had Teresa known who Charles Manson was. In her interview, Melissa informed us that historical figures were not Teresaās thing. Iām not so sure thereās much world knowledge that is her thing. When Marge demanded to know why Teresa didnāt tell Danielle to knock it off, it was too much for Teresaās brain, and she had to walk away. It always amazes me how much these women pack for a weekend, but then again, I used to bring at least five pairs of shoes for a weekend at the Shore because you never know. Now I live here because Iām destined to live in tourist traps. But I digress.
The women went out to a fancy restaurant for dinner. Not-so Juicy Joe called, and suggested Dolores find Teresa a doctor, so he and Teresa could have a relationship like Dolores and Frank. Teresa told the women that heād also said she had too much baggage for any man to want her. Jackie talked about her husband signing a prenup because she has family money, which led to Jennifer pumping Jackie for financial information. The next day, they went shopping, and Jennifer split off with Marge to find a gift for Marge Sr. Jennifer told Marge she thought Jackie was stingy, based on the fact Jackie didnāt throw ostentatious parties for her children, and just had pizza like a normal mom. The group reconvened for lunch, and as soon as Jennifer went to the bathroom, Marge had to tell Jackie about the stingy comment. When Jennifer came back, after she got over being blindsided, she told Jackie to take the stick out of her ass and enjoy life. She felt Jackie wasnāt making her childrenās experiences memorable. In her interview, Jennifer said if she was getting thrown under the bus, she was taking Marge, and pointed out that Marge said Jackie doesnāt eat. Marge immediately apologized, which Jackie said was the difference between a friend and an a-hole, but Teresa felt a friend should speak their mind. Jackie suggested Jennifer not come to any more of her parties if she was so bothered. Melissa said Jackie was a saver, and to watch whose kids were nicely set up years from now. Of course this was in a restaurant where people were watching, and ended with Jennifer tossing glassware, and Melissa getting to her feet. To be continuedā¦
šŗ On last nightās HAHN, an ad for the new season of If Loving You Is Wrong said, coming soon. Whatever that means. I suppose it all depends on your definition of soon. The definitive word on The Shahs of Sunset is that returns on Sunday, February 9th at 9 pm. You can read all about the coming drama here:
š½Ā I caught Awkwafinaās Nora from Queens, and loved it. Reminiscent of Margaret Choās All American Girl, but grittier and with more weed.
š„Ā A Nail Gets Hit On the Headā¦
I couldnāt believe what an accurate description this was of the d-bags dudes on Below Deck. Not Captain Lee ā itās never Captain Lee. The best quote: Kevinās back went out because his skeleton canāt even support all the sh*t he talks. Sounds about right.
Itās like feast or famine with the programming. Right now, Tuesday is a battlefield, and it looks like Sunday will be joining it soon. Fans of the Dead will be thrilled, but AMC has some great entertainment to come in general. I am wondering how NOS4ATU got another season though. Not that it wasnāt good, but I thought that was the end of the story.

Willow says, of course (š·) sheās manipulating Brad, and of course (š·) heās letting her.Ā
Jax says thatās why he wanted to see Laura; to explain and apologize. He repeatedly asked Nikolas to reveal himself to her, but he said if Valentin found out he was alive, it would put her and Spencer in danger. He shouldnāt have been an accomplice for as long as he was, and heās deeply sorry. Laura accepts his apology. After all, it wasnāt him who broke her heart. It was her son.
Nikolas says he missed Spencer more than anyone. Spencer says heād pretend Nikolas was away on business, and imagine what theyād do when he returned. Where has he been?

In a bold move, they asked Crimson to partner with them. They did have a clever business plan. He asks if sheās thinking of doing it, and she says she hasnāt made a decision. He asks, why wait? and she says, itās not personal. She wants to make the right decision. Curtis says, one of the riskiest things when youāre under cover is developing feelings for the mark; you start to questions your loyalty and allegiances. Is she making a shrewd business decision, or is it a way to keep Sasha in her life? They were close, and he doesnāt believe it was an act on either of their parts. Nina misses her. Nina says she misses the idea of having a daughter. He asks if anything that came from her mother was ever true, and she says Valentin couldnāt prove if she did or didnāt have a daughter, and if he couldnāt do it, nobody could. She takes out the half-heart necklace, and says sheās never going to find out if she really had a baby. Um⦠wouldnāt her GYN know?
Brad brings out Wiley, and tells Nelle that he decided heās too distracted to work. he suggests she not let them keep her, and go on with her day; enjoy. Nelle asks to hold him, but he says, Wiley has to get dressed. He gets cranky if schedule is interrupted. Nelle says she wants to hold her son, and Brad hands him over. She says, Wiley is right where he belongs.

She says she wants to renovate the waterfront, particularly the piers above Pier 26. Sheās looking for partners in the business sector to get on board and do their civic duty. He says he read about it in The Invader, but she says the article was premature and not placed by her staff. She already reached out to ELQ, and now him. She didnāt think heād want be left out. itās going to decriminalize the waterfront for good. Jax says, itās going to take quite a bit of financing, and she says sheās open to donations. He says, a charming shakedown. Gladys approaches the table, and says, hello. Jax introduces her to Laura, and Laura says Gladys must be related to Mike. Gladys is impressed about Laura being mayor, and says if she lived there, Laura would have her vote.
Willow says, Brad is completely unable to stand up to Nelle. Carly sees Gladys talking with Laura and Jax, and says, youāve got to be kidding. She says theyāre right to be concerned, and tells Michael, if thereās anything she can do, just ask. Right now, she has to handle something else. She goes over to Jaxās table and asks if everything is all right. Laura says, itās fine, and Gladys says Jax was just introducing her to the mayor. Carly is sure Jax and Laura have business to take care of, and steers Gladys away. Laura says, interesting lady. Sheās sure thereās a story there, and Jax says, for another day.
Willow asks where Michael is going, and he says, to get Nelle away from Wiley. Chase says heās coming too. Half of this is his fault, and thereās no way heās letting Wiley pay for it. Willow asks Chase to let her know what happens, and Sasha says, her too, and tells them to be careful.
Sasha asks Willow what Nelle is like. Itās hard to believe the creepy stories. Willow says, Nelle comes off all sweetness and light, a harmless waif, but just like that, sheās threatening. Then she says she didnāt mean it; sheās twisted. She even brought up Shiloh when they saw each other. Sasha says Nelle was probably trying to play with Willowās mind. Sashaās phone dings, and she says, itās Nina. Willow asks ifĀ theyāre texting now, and Sasha says she and Lucy pitched a partnership with Deception and Crimson. Nina seemed less than thrilled. Willow says maybe Nina wants to tell Sasha that sheās on board, and Sasha says maybe Nina wants to tell her where to stick her proposal. Willow says sheāll go along with Sasha. She needs a distraction.
Nikolas tells Spencer that it was the best thing he could come up with. He had to regain his strength and think of a plan. Nikolas says, for three years he forgot who Spencer was. And after what happened to Lucas, who is she to desert a friend in need? She should become Wileyās nanny instead of Chaseās girlfriend. Chase tells her, leave Willow out of it. Nina tells Charlotte that sheās good at this. Maybe she should hire Charlotte as her new art director. Sasha and Willow come in, and Sasha says Nina asked to see her. She says hi to Charlotte, who ignores her and asks if Willow wants to see her new school project. Willow says, sure, and Nina and Sasha go into Ninaās office. Nina asks if Sasha felt the need to bring her sidekick along for moral support, and Sasha says Willow was keeping her company, and she does like the moral support. She asks if Lucy shouldnāt be in on the meeting, but Nina says itās just about them. She looked at the proposal, and itās good; better than she expected. Apparently Sasha picked up some things working there. Sheās decided to move forward ā conditionally. Theyāre going to unearth everything; nothing will be left to the imagination. Theyāre going to include how Sasha lied to her, and Michael, and Valentin. Sasha says Michael has already forgiven her, and Nina has made clear she never will. She tells Nina, print what she likes. If putting her life on blast helps pay for what she did, so be it. Have a lawyer draw it up. She asks if thatās it, and Nina says she can go. Sasha comes out of the office, and Willow asks if sheās all set. They get in the elevator, and Sasha says, if setting herself up to public shaming is all set, sheās great. She just gave Nina permission to beat her up in print.
Taggert continues to look through the folder, and tells Jordan, itās crazy. After everything they went through, thereās no way in hell. Jordan says that was her reaction too, but toxicology was specific. He says Bob barely drank, and never went near drugs; it makes no sense. She says, not to her either⦠unless something worse is going on. He says sheās got questions; heāll get answers, and she tells him, becareful. Laura comes in, and asks if sheās interrupting. Jordan says they were just finishing up, and introduces Taggert. Laura says she remembers him, and itās nice to see him again. What brings him back to Port Charles?

He says heās fond of Wiley, and it will keep her away from him. She says, It makes sense. Wiley is the same age as Jonah would be. Chase asks if she cares about Brad. One call to social services from a concerned party saying thereās a convicted killer staying there, and theyāll be nosing around and scrutinizing everything. Nelle tells him to mind his own business, and Michael asks if sheāll take him up on his offer. It more than meets her standards.
Brad comes out, and Nelle is gone. He tells Michael and Chase that heās sorry how things turned out. Nelle showed up last night. He didnāt agree to her being Wileyās nanny. Did Willow say he did? Chase says, itās been a rough morning. Theyāll talk later after they decompress. Michael says Wiley is the number one priority. Lucas being in a coma is a tragedy, but it shouldnāt be compounded by putting Wiley at risk. Brad says he didnāt, but Michael says, Nelle is dangerous. She tried to kill him, and she killed Zak. Nelle having access to Wiley is unacceptable. He took an oath as Wileyās godfather to look after him, and heās going to do everything to make sure Wiley is safe.

He leaves, and Laura asks if they worked together. Jordan says, it was years ago, and Laura says sheās been making good progress on the waterfront. Jax will be on board, providing ELQ is. She asks why she gets the feeling that heās humoring her, and he says, because he is.
Ava says Spencer has always had insight beyond his years. Heās old enough to know parents arenāt perfect, and his father no different. Spencer says his father stayed away; thatās not love. Ava says he stayed to keep Spencer safe; to protect him from Valentin. Spencer says his father could have seen him in France, and Valentin would have never known. Ava says Spencer has a rare opportunity; a second chance with a loved one. Itās a miraculous thing, so many other people would give anything for. Donāt waste it. Spencer says if Ava thinks her heartfelt pleas are going to make him forgive Nikolas, sadly, sheās mistaken. She says she wonāt excuse Nikolas, but sheās seen how much he loves his father, and how losing his father affected him. Nikolas loves him, and she thinks itās time they both stop hurting, and put the anger aside. Let his father love him. Itās so much better than being alone . Nikolas comes back in.
Nikolas says, Ava is right. He has so much to make up for, and heāll do what it takes. If Spencer lets him, he wants to restore the family. Itās what heās wanted the whole time. Spencer says he could have had it if heād come back, but he didnāt. He let Spencer believe he was dead. Spencer has lived every day for the past three years alone because of Nikolas. He built up the memory of a noble prince, but Nikolas is as heartless as Valentin Cassadine, Ā and his legacy is more important than his son. Stay the hell away from him. Spencer slams out the door.

Nelle tells Willow, no introductions are needed. She recognizes Sasha from the picture on Michaelās phone. Nelle holds out her hand, but Sasha doesnāt take it. She says she knows who Nelle is. Nelle tells her not to believe everything she hears. Theyāll have plenty of time to get to know each other better. Sasha doubts that, and Nelle says the Quartermaine mansion is big, but theyāll run into each other eventually. Michael asked her to move in. Willow says sheās lying, but what else is new? Michael doesnāt want her anywhere near him. Nelle tells her to phone him, and ask him herself.
Chase asks if Michael is sure he should invite Nelle back into the Quartermaine mansion. Michael asks if heās heard about it being a good idea to keep your enemies close at times. This is one of those times. Ā Heās going to let her think sheās winning, and when she drops her guard, heāll drop the hammer. Sheāll never see it coming.
Tomorrow, Nikolas tells Ava that heāll do it on one condition, Willow wants to know how she can be okay with Brad raising her son, and Carly tells Nelle to mention Jonah one more time and see what happens.
Below Deck

In the captainās interview, he says heās the only one who knows the galley. Heās worked in restaurants, and is good on the grill, but he canāt make a pimple on the ass of Kevinās preparation and presentation. He tells Kevin, keep him posted. Anchor is dropped and locked. In Kateās interview, she says Tanner is cute. He has no shame, but itās not even creepy. Itās cute. She tells him not to talk to her, and Ashton asks if theyāre fighting again. Itās so cute.Boat-mances. Simone asks who Ashton is referring to; Kate and⦠In her interview, she says she canāt believe this a-hole is doing this. Itās not like they have feelings for one another, but wtf? Ashton asks if sheās okay, and she says, kind of. She wouldnāt have gone there. He asks if she regrets it, and she says she does.
Captain Lee joins the guests for dinner. Tanner tells Rhylee that they should spray down the deck after dinner, but Rhylee thinks they could get ahead by doing it during dinner, since the guests are eating inside. Tanner complains that everything is a problem with Rhylee. Why does her idea always have to be the right one? Ashton agrees that they should wait until after dinner. In her interview, Rhylee says it doesnāt matter whether sheās right or wrong. Kate tells Simone that sheāll be doing cabins, and Courtney will be helping her. In Kateās interview, she says she never breaks girl code, but Simone and Tanner are no longer hooking up, and Simone has been annoying her, so her girl code is slipping. Alexis says sheās thankful for her life, and loves everyone. Kevin suddenly wants the bisque poured at the table, but Kate says they didnāt discuss gravy boats, and theyāre locked away. In her interview, she says this is why they went over this beforehand. In Kevinās interview, he says Kate would rather float with Tanner and leave him in deep water. Tanner tells Kevin that heās never going to win.
Simone bitches to Rhylee about Kate and Tanner. Rhylee is surprised to find out Simone didnāt know they had kissed. In Simoneās interview, she says her blood pressure is up. Rhylee says itās a good thing they didnāt go further. Tanner is a moron. Simone wonders why sheās always the last person to find out about these things. Alexis says itās the first time sheās had venison, and pronounces it amazing. Courtney kisses Brian, saying she doesnāt want to fight anymore. In her interview, she says she doesnāt like fighting, but she feels like itās not resolved. She doesnāt want to be acrimonious anymore, and heās cute. Kate tells Kevin the guests loved the dessert. Simone breaks a glass, and Kate jokes that itās okay; they only have one more charter. In her interview, Simone says she doesnāt respect Kate anymore. Go ahead and laugh, bitch.
Final day of charter. Kevin says he can bear through it. Brian tells Ashton that he and Courtney made up. Tanner oversleeps, and Ashton finally makes him get up. In Ashtonās interview, heās concerned about Tanner making it a habit of oversleeping. In Rhyleeās interview, she says sheās at her witās end with this crew. She works as hard, or harder, than Tanner, but heās one of the boys, so he gets away with murder.
Courtney takes breakfast orders, and the guests are happy. The captain asks Ashton how things are going with Rhylee, and Ashton says, much better. Theyāre great when they all work as a team. Captain Lee is like, wonderful, now that itās the end of the season. Tanner and Brian are talking on deck, while Captain Lee and Ashton watch from the wheelhouse. The captain tells Ashton heās going to wait for them to be distracted, and then blows the horn, giving them both a heart attack. He and Ashton laugh their asses off. The captain radios for the crew to put on their whites, and startles the guests with the horn while they have a drink on deck. Luckily, they find it funny. Itās like he just found the horn or something. Kate sees the first boat she worked on, and gets nostalgic. In her interview, she says that boat is the reason she got into yachting. The last time she saw it, she was getting fired in the Bahamas. Itās like seeing a long lost love by accident, out of town.
It’s time for goodbyes. In her interview, Kate says the guests were nice, but she canāt wait to untuck her shirt and stop waiting on people. Alexis says it was the best vacation sheās ever taken, and Andrew gives Captain Lee the tip envelope. The crew has lunch, and none of the guys will slide over to let Rhylee sit. Courtney finally moves over, and Tanner gets up to eat at the counter, saying she can take his spot. In Simoneās interview, she says, theyāre like mean kids on the playground. Rhylee eats in her cabin, and Ashton tells the others, itās like a kid throwing their toys around;donāt pay attention. In Kateās interview, she says when she started out on this adventure, she was a bad stew. Sheās come a long way. She thinks itās special the boat showed up in Thailand, but she canāt be yachting forever, and thinks sheās ready for a new adventure.
The tip meeting commences, and this time itās $17,500, or S1590 a piece. The captain tells them to go out for dinner tonight, but they have an early morning with guests at 11:30 am. While she cleans the boat, Rhylee sees Brian and Tanner taking a smoke break. She thinks she should take up smoking. She can have twenty breaks, and alleviate the stress. Ashton whines that her comment isnāt constructive, and she says she was commenting in jest, like the dudes do. Ashton tells her, just calm down before it gets heated, and I desperately want to punch him in the face. He says she has an attitude and isnāt being constructive. He thinks the best thing would be for her to take a break. Rhylee says, the best thing would be for her to clean by herself, away from them. Ashton leaves, and she asks if heās going to suggest firing her again. He tells Brian and Tanner that heās done. In Tannerās interview, he says, Rhylee is like a champagne bottle on New Yearās. She shakes it up, and you donāt know when the cork is going to pop. One more charter, and theyāre done with Rhylee. The captain calls Kate, Kevin, and Ashton to the crew mess for a preference sheet meeting.
Captain Lee says their final guest will be sports broadcaster/writer Jamele Hill. Itās going to be an all ladies trip. They love delicious food, so he suggests Kevin feel free to pull out all the stops. Sheās getting married later this year, so this is her pre-bachelorette party. They want a 90s theme party, and an all-white dinner party, which the captain is invited to attend. Jamele has requested dirty themed drinks, and Captain Lee asks if they can find those little d*ck lollipops. Kate says, anything for him. They also want a penis cake, and the captain says Kate can give Kevin ideas, harkening back to her talents with towel folding. She says, if itās standing up, it will be more fun. Captain Lee thinks itās going to be a great last charter. Kevin canāt believe he has to make a penis cake.
Rhylee tells Simone that she doesnāt think Kate particularly likes Tanner. Simone says she knows he asked Kate out at the beginning. How was she the easy bitch? In Simoneās interview, she says a lot of guys have let her down; her father being the prime example. She tries to be open and let people in, but when she does that in relationships, it doesnāt work out, and reminds her of the pain from the past. She tells Rhylee that she has to see him every day. She thought it was going to be casual, and be done. In her interview, she says she opened herself up to Tanner, and he played her. Itās hurtful and disrespectful. Rhylee suggests she get under someone else.
In the guysā taxi, they toast to the last charter. They made it. In the other taxi, Rhylee says she thinks sheās underappreciated, and it has to do with one person in particular and their attitude. Kate says, itās hard to watch it happening. In Kateās interview, she says Rhylee deserves a chance work with a manger who manages. Ashton is too big for his bosun britches, and heās not a good leader. Kevin asks if Kate is being too much of a bitch for Tanner. In his interview, Tanner says he wants to get laid; the bitchier the better. He thanks the guys for their support.
The crew heads to a Thai market to get food. A woman walks by with a cat wearing glasses and riding in a snuggly. Rhylee is excited about the market, and wants a scorpion on a stick. In Kateās interview, she wonders if a scorpion is her spirit animal. Theyāre nice, then they kill you. Rhylee says it tastes like a corn nut, but saltier. Tanner sees the crickets, and says, Jiminy Cricket. In Kevinās interview, he says heās a chef in a Thai market, and if he has a chance to buy insects, heās going to buy insects. He bogarts the fried crickets. Rhylee keeps trying to get in to order something, and he cricket blocks her. He tells the guys about how he pissed her off, and I want to smack Brian if he says bru one more time. In Rhyleeās interview, she says sheās not stupid. She knows Kevin is talking about her. Ashton anticipates drama? Here comes drama. There are some quick back and forth insults, ending with Rhylee calling Ashton a misogynist pig, adding that heās arrogant and egotistical. In Simoneās interview, she feels like she and Rhylee are similar, but Rhylee actually says what Simone would like to say. Rhylee tells Kate that she wants to smash Ashtonās face in. Courtney tells Brian not to accelerate the situation, and he asks why sheās taking sides. Rhylee starts to get teary, and walks away, and Tanner says she wants a reaction. Ā Simone says Rhylee isnāt crying for attention, but because sheās upset. Rhylee tells Ashton, eff off; she doesnāt like him. In Brianās interview, Brian says that Courtney needs to see that itās Rhylee stirring the pot. Courtney says heās allowed to tell Rhylee to calm down, but gets mad at her for doing the same thing he does. He tells her that sheās being ridiculous, and Courtney starts to cry. In her interview, she says sheās not used to someone she cares about being aggressive and yelling at her for no reason; itās shocking.
Back in the taxi, Courtney wonders why Brian is so mean. Rhylee follows Ashton to the guysā taxi, and asks if he thinks she should be fired. He says heās not saying anything. Courtney says, whenever she has an opinion, itās not valid, but when Brian does, it counts. Heās hot and cold. In Kateās interview, she says it started off being a nice night eating scorpions, and they ended up with Rhylee in full rage and Courtney sobbing. When Rhylee screams at her, she feels like itās in a sister way. Rhylee knows sheāll take it. Brian ā wait for it ā gives out friendship bracelets to all the guys, proving that they really are fourteen-year-old girls. Rhylee says Kate isnāt the one getting the brunt of it, and Kate asks Rhylee to stop talking. They head back to the boat, and Rhylee asks if her time is over to feel bad about how sheās treated. She asks Courtney, what happened? and Kate says, what does she think? She didnāt notice while she was in a blackout rage. Rhylee tells Kate, get off her jock.
Brian asks if Tanner is still going to bang Kate, and Ashton says heās not getting involved in any more drama. Rhylee says Kate acts like the queen bee. Itās not a not yacht crew; itās just dumb effing nonsense. Back on the boat, Courtney ignores Brian. Brian tells Rhylee to smile, and Iām shocked she doesnāt deck him (no pun intended) right there. Simone asks how Courtney is feeling, and Courtney says Brian is mean to her about everything she has an opinion on. In Courtneyās interview, she says sheās over it, especially when Brian has been drinking. She doesnāt get conversation; she gets, I canāt believe you did that. He deals with conversations like a toddler.
The guys sit at a table, drinking on deck. As they see Kate coming toward the boat, Ashton says, Tanner has an agenda tonight. Kevin says, heās on a mission. Tanner says when the Rhylee sh*t happened, he knew that was it. The guys make lewd comments and laugh. Kate comes through, and asks if she can get them something, calling them a bunch of sh*ts. In her interview, she says she canāt her what theyāre saying, but sheās been around them long enough to know when her name is involved, she can be pretty sure theyāre talking sh*t about her. She slams the door, saying, eff you, and going back inside. Kevin suddenly remembers his cricket purchase, and goes to get them in the galley. Kate tells him, get out of the interior, and wonāt let him through, saying, go the long way. In Kateās interview, she says Kevin has put his foot down, and made an argument out of everything. She heads a department too. Her department is the interior, and he canāt be in it. She slams the door to the galley access. In Ashtonās interview, he says, sheās acting like a little brat. Kevin tells Kate, donāt be dramatic. He goes back to the table, shouting, wake up the captain; Kate is being dramatic!
Captain Lee says, eff me, and comes out of his cabin in PJ bottoms, sans shirt. Kate tells the guys, she walked up on them talking sh*t. She heard them on the dock. Captain Lee walks out, and asks, wtf is going on? Ashton shrugs, and the captain says, no one knows, and he doesnāt want to know. Ashton points a literal finger at Kate, and Captain Lee says, he doesnāt want to know. All he wants is them to get to bed, and be ready to go in the morning. The rest is irrelevant bullsh*t. In his interview, the captain says they have charter guests coming in less than twelve hours, and the crew is up kicking a dead horse. Heās madder than a pissed on chicken. Theyāre acting like a-holes, and thereās going to be hell to pay in the morning.
He says, at this hour, he doesnāt need to be hearing slamming doors and yelling. If anyone takes issue with that, they can see him in his quarters. The captain goes back in, slamming the door. Kevin says, oh sh*t. Ā
Next time, Brian asks Courtney for no more drama; Captain Lee says if anyone feels they canāt get along, they can pack their bags; and Kevin asks Kate why sheās being a d*ck.

He heard one of Sonnyās trucks was hijacked and torched. Sonny says, someone on the PCPD likes to gossip. Taggert says when someone puts it over on Sonny, itās big news in his circle of friends. Sonny asks, what circle? and Taggert says heāll see Sonny around.

Willow says sheāll decide what can or canāt handle, and Nelle says, of course (š·). As someone whoās lost a child, she can imagine how painful it is to not be there for them. Dev isnāt into her, which is great, because heās a nice guy and all, but sheās clearly not ready to be thinking about other guys. Carly says sheās going through a process, and she knows Josslyn will get through it. Itās normal for her to be noticing other boys, and still love Oscar. Michael says he couldnāt stop her from having a memorial for Shiloh, but now sheās trespassing, and violating her parole. One call to the police⦠Martin joins her, and says she has every legal right to be there. Tracy asks, who are these people, and how do they keep getting in? Carly says she heard it was up and running, and Jason says thatās because it was funded by the Quartermaines, and the shares should be returned to the family. The other will left the shares to Shiloh. My dogs start a ruckus, so I have to get up, and miss what Carly says about Nelle, but itās not complementary. She says she wishes someone would run Nelle over with a truck, and Jason says, maybe somebody will.

He says Brad is losing it, and if heās not more careful, Sonny will figure out why.
Carly tells Jason, she canāt let Nelle drive her crazy. Thereās too much going on. She arranged for Stella to fly in. Sonny had no idea, but she believes Stella is the best, most objective person to talk to. Jason says sheās right, and Carly says sheās not hoping Stella will sway Sonny, but she doesnāt want him to make things worse. Jason says theyāll do everything they can, but his best advice in the end is that Mike is Sonnyās father, and Sonny has to decide. Sonny walks in, and says heās come to a decision about his dad.
Nelle asks if Ned just threatened her, but Brook says heās too smart to do that in a room full of people and two lawyers. Martin says, theyāre not people? Ned says, no threat. The family company owns the stock, and the underhanded way Nelleās murdering husband got his hands on it is still an issue. Olivia says theyāll tie her up with court fees and appearances until sheās old and grey. Theyāll make her life a living hell. If she jaywalks, theyāll revoke her parole. Nelle says the stock is hers, and everyone tells her, shut up, in unison. Martin says, thereās no need for hostility. Alexis says, marrying Shiloh for starters, but Sam bets sheās still after Michael. Alexis says she knows Sam has handled worse, but please be careful.
Sonny says heās decided to get the evaluation. He knows itās not what they want to hear, but heād appreciate support. Carly says sheāll tell him what she just told Jason. She brought Stella, not to talk to Sonny about what she wants, but to help Sonny with what heās going through, and do what she does best. Sheās objective, and can be a sounding board. If Sonny feels this is the best option after talking to Stella, sheāll absolutely support him. Sonny says, that means everything, and Carly says she wants whatās best for him and Mike. He thanks her, and says he knows Jason has a lot going on, but if heās up for it, Sonny needs his help.
Julian tells Brad that Sonny heard their conversation on the docks. Brad wonders how, and Julian says, hell if he knows. Maybe he was having Carly tailed. They need to be more careful. Brad asks what Sonny knows, and Julian says, nothing yet, but he just needs one push to investigate. He explained to Sonny that he was warning Brad to keep Wiley away so he could finagle time with his grandson. Brad needs to keep Carly at armās length, and make an excuse as to why Julian is spending time with Wiley. Brad says, no, and Julian asks, what does he mean, no? Brad says heās out of excuses. He can barely take care of himself, and has no interest in taking care of Julian.
Sam thinks Neil getting his license revoked is extreme, and Alexis says, those are the rules. You have to wait two years before seeing a former patient socially. Itās absurd. Thatās why she needs a meeting. She tells Sam, sheās sorry to cut this short, but Sam says, itās okay. Sam tells Alexis to take care of herself, and Alexis says, if Sam does. Sam says, deal, and Alexis heads out.
Sonny tells Jason that theyāll stay the night. While Mike is in the clinic, heās going to call a meeting. Heāll let everyone know the situation is stable. Everyone is doing business, and Ā getting along with their neighbors. Get what heās saying? Carly says Sonny is planning a business trip? Mike is having a hard time, and he needs the energy to focus. How is Sonny going to do business? Sonny asks what the alternative is, and she suggests he not go to the clinic. She or Stella could go. She knows he wants to do this for his dad, but he has a lot on his plate, and has other people who can do this for him.
Nikolas tells Lulu, heās sorry. He saw Charlotte the night Cassandra tried to kidnap her, and couldnāt afford for Valentin to find out. She says, so he lied, like he lied to everyone. Then he showed up at the wedding, and took away everything that matters to Charlotte; her home, and her security. Nikolas says, like Valentin did to Spencer, and Lulu says, is that what theyāre doing now? Comparing him to Valentin? Charlotte is family, and family is supposed to protect each other, not rip each otherās lives apart. Heās not sorry. He has everything he wants, including a bizarro marriage to Ava. Obviously, itās about money. He was never like the other Cassadines, greedy and selfish. That wasnāt him. What happened? Nikolas says she told him all that mattered was that he was alive, and theyād figure out the rest later. She says, welcome to later. He says his goal is to make things right, starting with Spencer. She asks how he thinks Spencer is going to react. He says he doesnāt know, and she says she prays that after the dust settles, Spencer fares better than her daughter.
Pascal says, Edward Quartermaine made provision for all of his heirs. When it was determined that Oscar was Alanās grandson, he was given shares. Tracy says, get to the good part, and Pascal says, Oscar suffered from a brain tumor, compromising his judgement. Tracy says, thatās the good part? Pascal says, Oscar left conflicting wills. One done with Alexis, where he bequeathed the shares to Shiloh. Nelle says, which belong to her, and again everyone tells her, shut up, in unison. Pascal says, prior to Oscarās death, he made a handwritten will bequeathing the shares to a non-profit of his own creation. Nelle says, what? and Pascal says itās for disadvantaged travelers to climb a mountain Oscar always dreamed of doing. The two wills are at odds with each other, but the foundation was already funded by the Quartermaines, in expectation that the shares would revert to them to divide as they saw fit; hence the transfer to the ELQ board. Martin says, the former will claims the shares go to Shiloh, and should now be transferred to his widow ā Nelle says, thatās her ā until the final determination. Which bequest takes precedence might be premature. Heās obtained a temporary injunction which allows his client to vote the shares. Tracy asks if thatās legal, and Pascal says, it appears to be. Unless itās a forgery⦠Nelle says, they belong her. She told them so.
Lulu tells Nikolas, she watched their mom grieve for three years. Lulu was devastated, but Nikolas is Lauraās son. Itās different when a parent loses a child. He put her through that. Brad says heāll go along with Julianās cover story, and Julian says, their cover story. Julian asks, what about Nelle? and Brad says he canāt think about that right now. Julian asks, what if she reaches out? and suggests Brad ignore her. Brad says, Nelle doesnāt like to be ignored. Julian doesnāt care, and tells Brad to let him know if it happens. Itās coming in from all sides. They have no more room for error, and need to do this for as long as they need to. Brad says he just wants it to go away. He wants Lucas to wake up. He wants to see his husbandās face, and hear his laugh. If he thought telling Sonny would bring Lucas back, heād march over now, and spill the whole damn story.
Ned tells Martin that itās helpful they understand the situation, since theyāre all shareholders, but Martin isnāt, and this is private. He asks Pascal to show Martin to the den, and they leave. Tracy asks who wants to do the honors, and Michael says he started this mess, so he will. Heāll pay Nelle to go away. Heāll send a wire transfer to the bank of her choice. He writes a figure down, and gives it to her, saying, take it or leave it.
Sonny says he gets what Carly is saying, and she has the right to be concerned, but the reason he wants to go to Brooklyn, is because itās where Mike lived. Itās where he grew up, and where his father fell in love with his mother. Carly says, not all the memories are happy ones, but Sonny says Bensonhurst was a big part of his fatherās life. He wants Mike to be calm and focused when he goes for the evaluation. They said familiar surroundings are helpful, and heās bringing Jason as back-up, so he can focus on his dad. Carly asks what Jason thinks. Jason says he thinks they all agree itās a long shot, but itās Mikeās last shot, and Sonny has the right to take it.

Nelle says thatās what they think of her; they can pay her off and sheāll go away. She tells Michael, she had his baby. They created a life together. He crashed the car and their baby died. Does he think sheāll just take the money, and they can retreat into their family fortune while she says thank you and drops a curtsy? Hell no. She has a say. Do they think she wanted to marry skeezy Shiloh? She worked hard to get what she wanted, and they need to get used to it. Sheās not going anywhere. Brook says Nelle is as dumb as she looks, and the worst kind of gold-digger. A waif who shows up with a sad story. She got herself pregnant ā points for that ā but the baby is gone. She thinks she can get her hands on their money, but she should take the offer. If she doesnāt, sheāll end up with nothing. Nelle says Michael wouldnāt let that happen, and Brook tells her to enjoy her pretend power while it lasts. Soon, her greed is going to get the best of her. Sheās going to mess up, and get caught, and itās goodbye Nelle, back to Pentenville. Nelle grabs Brookās arm, and Brook shakes her off, saying, thatās a parole violation. Nelle calls for Martin, who says, she bellowed? She tells him, this is no longer a safe space, and Olivia says, she has no idea. Martin says, play time is over; theyāll be in touch. When theyāre gone, Tracy says Brookās great-grandfather would be proud.
Nikolas tells Lulu that she wasnāt in his shoes, but she says she thinks sheās capable of putting herself in his position. Nikolas says she canāt imagine what it was like to get shot, fall out the window, and watch Valentin walk away with everything. She says she watched that too, but he says it wasnāt hers. She canāt know what it felt like. Valentin took his home, fortune, and family legacy. It was like he never existed. Is he supposed to be okay with that? She says, of course (š·) not, but there were other ways. He says, what ways? and she says she doesnāt know, but he could have come home and they could have fought Valentin together. He says, and give Valentin the opportunity to kill him again, and maybe take one of them as a bonus? Heās seen good intentions smack into the real world. His only chance to stop Valentin is to play by his rules. He regrets hurting his family, but he won. He got his life back; how can he regret that?
Carly asks if Sonny has to call a meeting. What if something goes wrong? Sonny says he and Jason can handle it. Jason says, the best thing that can happen is, Mike will be his old self again. Carly says they know there are no guarantees, but maybe sheās been looking at it wrong. Sheās been trying so hard to protect her family. Maybe she needs to accept that itās a difficult situation, and there are no good choices. Whatever choice Sonny makes is the right one for him.
Sonny says heās going to call Turning Woods, and check on his dad. He tells Jason, it will be good to take Mike back to where he grew up; the old neighborhood is half Cerullos and half Falconaris. Sonny goes to make the call, and Carly asks how Jason is dealing with the separation from Sam. He says heās okay, but she says thatās not enough for her; talk to her. He says, itās hardest on the kids. Theyāre not able to see each other all that much, but he calls a lot and they video chat before bed. Carly is surprised Jason video chats, and he says, whatever it takes. She says sheās sorry. She thought the nightmare was over, now this. How long do they have to be apart? Jason says, two years, unless⦠until they find a way around it. She asks if there are any possibilities, and he says theyāre working on it. She tells him, be honest, and asks if the trip is bad timing, but he says he thinks itās a good distraction. She tells him that if he has to go home, go. Sonny comes back in, and Carly ask how his dad is. Gladys appears, and says, not so great. She just came from visiting him. Sonny says, it sounds like Mike is having a bad day, and Gladys says, he was agitated, and more out of it. Sonny says, the clinical trial is tomorrow, and Gladys asks if itās the one she told him about. Carly says, thatās the one, and Gladys says, good. Sheās glad theyāre going. It sounded promising. She tells Sonny, if she can be of any help, sheād be happy to tag along.
Julian sits in the chapel. He says he messed up, and nearly killed his own son. What if his son doesnāt survive? What if he⦠He hears someone come in, and sees itās Alexis. Julian asks what sheās doing there, and she says she had an AA meeting. She guesses she doesnāt need to ask who heās praying for. Julian says, not that God is going to listen to him. She says, she would listen, and he says he doesnāt know where to turn anymore. He doesnāt know how to fix this. Alexis says the meeting isnāt starting for a while, and asks if he wants to talk.
Michael apologizes, but Olivia says itās not his fault. Tracy says, it is, a little bit. What was he thinking, getting involved with a murderous psychopath? The others list all the men Tracy has been involved with, and Olivia says, itās quite a roster. Tracy points out this is coming from the woman who got knocked up by Julian, but Olivia says, it was a one-night stand; Tracy married them. Ned tells Tracy, admit it. She doesnāt have a leg to stand on when it comes to lousy spouses. She says, enough. Theyāre not talking about her past; theyāre talking about the present. Michael says, sheās right. He appreciates them defending him, but he screwed up. He brought Nelle into their lives, and heās going to do everything he can to get her out. Tracy asks, how? She sits down, and says, sheās waiting.
Jason calls to let Sam know heās going out of town for a couple of days. Heās going to the city with Mike and Sonny, and thinks it might make it easier to stay apart. She wishes she could see him before he leaves, and he says he does too. She says she misses him, and he says he misses her. Heāll call when he gets there. She tells him, be safe, and he says theyāre going to figure the Peter thing out. She says she knows.
Pascal says heāll notify the other shareholders of the recent developments, and Tracy says, be sure to say theyāre temporary. Pascal says, of course (š·). As heās leaving, they find Sam on the porch, and Pascal says he was about to call her. She asks, why? and Tracy says they have a lot to catch up on. Sheāll fill Sam in.
Sonny says he thought Gladys went back to Bridgeport. She says itās a long drive, even in her new fancy car, and she stayed so late at Turning Woods, she was hoping heād let her stay another night. Sonny says he knows sheās working this to get every penny. He doesnāt like it, but heās not really judging her because sheās done so much for his dad. He appreciates it, and heās grateful. Gladys says Mike is a sweetheart, and she loves spending time with him. Sonny says heāll let her stay until they figure out whatās wrong with his father (um⦠isnāt it Alzheimerās?), assuming his wife is okay with it. Carly wants everything in the open, and says the way Gladys is leveraging being Devās fake grandma is obvious and despicable. Sheās not going to pretend sheās putting up with it. For Mikeās sake, Gladys can stay, but if she steps out of line, sheās gone. Sonny says, and the second they donāt need her⦠Carly says sheās out of there. I honestly donāt understand why theyāre so hostile toward Gladys.
Nikolas tells Lulu that heāll find a way to make it up to everyone. He hopes she never has to see the people she loves pay for her choices, and ask herself if itās worth it. She asks if it was, and he says the truth is, he doesnāt know. All he knows is, he couldnāt let Valentin walk away with everything. He had to get back and show Valentin that heās the true Cassadine heir, and Valentin is nothing. Lulu says sheās glad heās alive, but she hopes he comes to his senses, and she gets her real brother back.
Olivia asks if Ned thinks this is a good thing or a bad thing, and he says, it could go either way. Oscarās last request was made in their favor. Olivia says, but it was when he wasnāt mentally competent. Michael says, thereās no way in hell theyāre handing the shares over to Nelle. Sam has come in, and she says, what? Michael says Nelle married Shiloh, and now that heās dead, the 5% of ELQ Oscar left him goes to her. Brook says, itās temporary, and Tracy says she hopes so. Tracy thanks Brook for what she did, saying, she was amazing. Ned says he thinks itās his proudest moment as her father. Brook says, it was her pleasure. She might not always agree with them, but she can recognize a gold-digging crazy person trying to get her mitts on their money. Michael says, too bad she wasnāt there when he got involved with Nelle. Brook says, the bottom line is, theyāre Quartermaines, and when push comes to shove, they protect their own.
Alexis looks at her phone, and says she should have seen this coming. She tells Julian that Lucas is more important than anything, but she has to talk to Ned. Sheāll be back. He asks if everything is okay, and she says, Nelle was released from Pentenville, and sheās wasting no time in wreaking havoc on Port Charles again.
Again thereās mad banging on Bradās door. He flings it open, saying, what? and Nelle asks if thatās any way to treat his babyās mother. She comes in, lugging her suitcase and vision board. She tells him not to worry; she didnāt escape. Brad says she canāt stay there, but she says, of course (š·) she can. Itās only temporary. She has oodles of assets, and after her legal hassles have been cleared up, sheāll find her own place. She sets up her vision board, and says she has a beautiful home, a glorious life, and people who love her. Sheās finally going to have everything sheās ever wanted.
Tomorrow, Michael asks Sasha to move in, Cameron tells Trina that he has feelings, Willow discovers Nelle at Bradās, and Sonny asks why Taggert is back.
š Tonight on Project Runway, Victoria said she felt guilty, and hoped nobody was mad because sheās been on top so many times. I translated this to mean she doesnāt really feel guilty, but doesnāt want anyone to sabotage her, so sheās saying she does. The challenge was to incorporate their personal history and cultural heritage in a design of their choosing. They were to create any look they wanted to, using their heritage and unique background. Youād think this would be fun, but it was like when I had to buy all new furniture after Hurricane Sandy. It sounds like heaven, unless youāre being forced to do it. Delvin said it probably sounded like freedom to the others, but he preferred direction, since heās all over the place. It was a one-day challenge, and Christian said the makeup and hair would be an important factor in the look. Not to miss an opportunity for produce placement, he added, Maybelline believes beauty comes from diversity and individuality.
Everyone got FaceTime calls from a family member, mostly parents, but for Victoria, it was her husband, and Nancy, her sister. Delvin found out his paternal grandfather was Mexican, which was a big surprise, and didnāt help his mental block, but he started to envision his French Creole side mixing with French couture. The designers got $300 and 30 minutes at Mood. Being a seamstress isnāt in my wheelhouse, aside from a few costumes I whipped up for high school plays, but I love this store. Itās on my list of places to visit the next time Iām in NYC.
My personal favorites were Dayoung, with an Asian-inspired jacket and long skirt ā Brandon thought the skirt and jacket would have two different kinds of customers ā Nancyās pants and top ensemble that included an awesome coat; Chelseyās varsity jacket; and Brittanyās flouncy skirted take on Western wear. While Delvin turned himself inside out, hating his own dress, heād added some handwriting on the bodice that was actually pretty cool. Sadly, the zipper buckled, as did Shaviās entire garment.
The top three were Victoria, whoād had an incredible fitted jumpsuit, Chelsey, and Dayoung. At the bottom were Shavi, Delvin, and Sergio. Everyone got accolades for taking big risks. Chelsey was the big winner. Iād definitely buy that, although Iām sure itās going to be out of my price range. Sergio squeaked by, and Shavi was out. Brandon said heād done exceptional work, and it was just a small part of his greater story. Christian said that Shavi had passion and worked hard, and not everybody had those qualities. In his exit interview, Shavi said that he came there to be him and show his talents, but he didnāt think he accomplished that. He still hoped he made his grandmother proud.
Next time, a collab with Ashley Longshore, and another medical emergency for Dayoung.
š Yep, I Was Rightā¦
I had to find out. Chelseyās varsity jacket is out of my price range at $385. If itās within yours, here you go:
šø Noted: Kristen (Vanderpump Rules) was on Watch What Happens Live this week, and she looked the best Iāve ever seen her. Positively glowing, along with some nice hair extensions. Apparently, she and Carter have called it quits for real, so it must be all that extra weight she lost.
š½ Nora from Queens with Awkwafina looks hilarious! Itās on Wednesdays at 10:30 pm on Comedy Central.
š“ Is She Or Isnāt Sheā¦?
Divorced, still on the show, Mattās side piece? But most of all, we want to know what Ginaās done with her hair lately.
š Is anyone else creeped out by Goldfish crackers? I donāt want a snack that smiles back, and goes on vacation, and has a family. Itās right up there with Charlie begging you to eat his mother.
š Alert the Media…
It’s before 3 am. Meet you at the hospital tomorrow.

General Hospital

Is it so wrong to keep her handsome new husband company? She kisses his cheek, and he says. people are watching. She says, you bet they are. Theyāre the new hot couple. Itās a story of redemption ā her ā and resurrection ā obviously him. Since sheās not going anywhere, get used to it. He says theyāre married until he gets the codicil, and she says, even after, itās not over. Until then, they have no reason not to spend time together. He says, yes they do.

She says watching Dustin was hot, and he says chivalry is his thing. She says she likes it, and speaking of history, they seem to have some of their own, Dusty.
Brook says they have to let her go, and Chase says she assaulted a police officer. She says it was an accident; she was trying to hit a civilian. He asks if sheās aware that itās a crime, and she says the forced grabbing of an intimate part of her body without her consent is a crime. Michael says heāll start. Whatās she doing out of prison? Harmony asks what does she mean, her husband? Nelle says sheāll answer their questions in order. She tells Michael, good news; sheās a free woman. And to her dear old cellmate, sheās Mrs. David Henry Archer. She removes a glove and shows off her ring, saying, theyāre all her guests.
Carly tells Sonny, two people gaslighting each other isnāt a basis for a marriage. She wonders what Ava could have⦠The lightbulb comes on, and she realizes Ava must have the codicil, and is using it as leverage against Nikolas. The house phone rings, and Sonny says, of course (š·). He tells Carly, sheās not going to believe this. They go to the door, and Stella is there. Sonny asks, what happened? Did the weather get so bad she got homesick? Stella says, something like that. Sonny wonders why heās the only on not surprised, and Carly says she reached out to Stella to come and talk about his dad.
Ava says she needs to give Nikolas a gentle reminder. He hasnāt signed the post-nup yet. He doesnāt see why they need it. She has the codicil, and while sheās holding on to it, heāll have to go on with this sham of a marriage. Ava says, just because itās out of revenge doesnāt make it a sham. Their marriage is very real. A good spouse provides for their mate in case the worst happens. He says heās not signing, Heās waiting for his mother. Ava says she can be the witness. Nothing says official like a signature from the mayor. He starts to read it, and says, she wants an island of her own? She says the Cassadines own a chain of them. Whatās one tiny island? He says the water is shark infested, and she says sheās been swimming with sharks her whole life. She tells him not to be stingy.
Brook tells Chase, her father is obviously joking. The pervert should be charged for sexual assault. He told her to stop singing, she told him to shove it, and he put his paws on her.
In the interrogation room, Lulu says, then he put his hands down Brookās pants. Laura asks what Brook did.
Brook says, so she slapped him, and tried to push him off, but he grabbed her. Thatās when Lulu told himā¦
Lulu says she told him to keep his hands off Brook, and he said, back off, sweetie, and shoved her. Thatās when Dustin stepped in, and grabbed him by the collar, and told him to keep his hands to himself. Dustin says, words were exchanged, there was shoving⦠and Lulu says before they knew it, somebody called the cops.
Chase says Brook hit him with a beer bottle, and she says she was trying to hit the guy who touched her. Ned asks if heās in custody, and Chase says, heās in a holding cell. Ned asks if Brook is all right, and she says, it happened so fast; she just wants to go home. She asks why Ned is against her, and he tells her heās not saying the guy shouldnāt be punished. Heāll talk to Robert. She says Linc started it. Just drop the family name, and take her home. He says she spent years running from the family, and all it stands for. Now she wants to use the name to get out of trouble.
Tracy tells Olivia, she does have an ulterior motive, and it should appeal to her. Michael is a lovely young man, decent and polite. Olivia says, coming from Tracy, it doesnāt sound complimentary, and Tracy says it will take more than boyish charm to fill the Quartermaine shoes. Olivia says thatās the real reason Tracy is back. She wants to force Michael out. Tracy says she has no shares, vote, or say. On the other hand, Oliviaās husband has all three.
Michael asks how the hell Nelle got out. She tells him, like Shiloh said, keep believing and good things happen. Itās no wonder she wanted to honor his memory. Pentenvilleās not the most romantic place, but it was good enough for them; her, Shiloh, the chaplain, and a witness. Daisy says she was honored to be included. The ceremony was beautiful, and deeply spiritual. Nelle says sheās sorry she didnāt tell Harmony; she didnāt want to break Harmonyās heart. She tells Willow, itās a shame she feels she has to deny everyoneās feelings for Shiloh, especially since she took something precious from the time she was with him. Willow says she took her son, and Nelle says, Shiloh spoke about Wiley all the time. He spoke about reclaiming him, so they could be a family. Now heās gone, and the responsibility falls on yours truly.
Sonny says he doesnāt know whatās left to discuss, and Carly says, hear her out. Stella says she didnāt come to preach. Carly says she asked Stella to come talk to Sonny; not as some expert in the field, but someone who cares deeply about his father. Sonny hopes Carly paid Stellaās airfare, and Stella says, first class, with a room at the MetroCourt, but she would have rowed there if she thought it would help his dad. Sonny says they all love him, and want to do the right thing. Did Carly tell her about the new trial? Stella says sheād heard about it, and did some research. It does sound promising; however, Mikeās condition is more advanced than the patients in the study. Sonny says thatās why they canāt afford to wait until all of his father is lost. Stella understands, and her heart goes out to him, but while heās holding on to Mike, what is Mike holding on to?
Nikolas tells Ava, letās get something straight. She says she lives for clarity, and he says she lives in his home. They donāt share a bed or a future. Once he has the codicil, theyāre going their separate ways. She tells him to listen to himself. Codicil is all he ever says. Whatās the point of marriage if itās not forever? He says, till death do us part, and she says he wonāt kill her. He asks why sheās so sure, and she says she could be wrong, but she doesnāt think she is. As for their marriage, heās not going to get what he wants until she gets what she wants. So sign. She lifts her martini glass, and says, to true loveā¦
Brook asks why itās okay for Ned to change his name, and he says she did it to get out of a contract. He did it to embrace the family. She doesnāt seem to be interested in that. Brook says he wanted the power, influence, and privilege that the name affords. He says they could use it at the shareholderās meeting, and she says what better place to take her rightful place in the clan. Laura, Lulu, and Dustin come out, and Brook thanks Dustin for the rescue. She tells Lulu, always a pleasure. They leave, and she says if they can go, so can she. Sheās the victim. Chase says he spoke to Felicia and Mac, and theyāre willing to let it go, as long as theyāre reimbursed. Ned says heāll cover the damages, and Brook says sheāll pay him back. He says, she will, and Chase uncuffs her, telling her that sheās free to go. Donāt let him see her back there. She promises heās seen the last of her, and leaves with Ned.
Michael says Nelle isnāt getting involved with his godson, but she says itās not up to him. He says heās going to check her story, and she tells him, do that. He steps out, and Nelle says, out of curiosity, Willow chose Brad to be the babyās father? Willow says, Brad and Lucas are Wileyās legal parents. Not Shiloh, even if he was alive. Nelle says, harsh. Sheās not trying to take Wiley from them. Not yet. Harmony asks if sheās planning to in the future, and Nelle says she didnāt say that. Jason says he wouldnāt worry about it, and she says, it speaks. She forgot he was there. He asks how she made parole, and she says, Harmony was set free, so was she. Harmony says she had remorse for her crime, and got early release. Nelle says, unlike Sam, who shot Shiloh in the back. She owes her release to Ryan Chamberlain. If he hadnāt tried to escape, she wouldnāt have risked her life to protect society at large. Theyāre welcome.
Jason sees Michael in the hallway, and tells him, Nelle just wants attention. Donāt give it to her. Michael goes back in, and says, now that Nelle has made her big entrance, what does she want? Nelle says sheās not greedy. All she wants is what belongs to her.
Sonny tells Sonny, theyāre family, and Stella says, as much as he loves his family, is he willing to take Mike from his surroundings and routine, take him away from the one place he knows and trusts? Sonny says the doctors told him what might happen when they had the evaluation at the clinic. Itās better than doing nothing. Carly says theyāre not doing nothing. Stella says Mike has people he trusts, a place he knows, his family nearby, and Yvonne. Sonny says, Yvonne is on a feeding tube, and Mike keeps asking where she is. Carly says he thinks if Mike is away, heāll forget about her, and Stella says, he might know sheās missing, and it will be worse. Sonny says, it might give Mike more time. Even if it doesnāt work, heāll know they tried everything. Stella says, thatās easy to say, but how is he going to feel if they try, and it still doesnāt work?
Nikolas tells Ava that he wants a lawyer to look at the post-nup before he signs. Laura arrives, apologizing for keeping Nikolas waiting. She says she didnāt know Ava was joining them, and Nikolas says, Ava was just leaving, but Laura tells Ava to stay if she wants. Sheās not thrilled about the marriage, but theyāre adults. What they do is on them. Spencer is another story. Ava says, Spencer doesnāt know? and Nikolas says it doesnāt concern her. Ava says she cares about Spencer, and now sheās his stepmother. It does concern her. Nikolas says Spencer doesnāt know heās alive. Laura was right. Itās not something he can tell Spencer over the phone. Hello, itās me, your father. Iām not dead. Thatās why heās flying to France to see Spencer tonight.
Dustin goes back with Lulu to her place, and she asks him to come in. He says, itās late, and she says, nice try, Dusty. How does he know Brook? He says, itās not that fascinating, but she says sheāll be the judge of that. Start at the beginning, and donāt leave anything out.
Walking into the mansion, Brook tells Ned, she had no choice. Should she have let Linc put his hands all over her? He says, of course (š·) not. If she wants to be a Quartermaine, she has to think like one. Be smarter, and less impulsive. Olivia and Tracy join them, and Brook asks what theyād do if a man asserted his power by grabbing their butt. Tracy says, break his hands, and Olivia says, kick his ass. Brook says, thatās what she did, but Ned says, she went on the defensive and it escalated into a barroom brawl. Brook says it looks like everyone is at a meeting, and Tracy says, they are, but itās no surprise their CEO is MIA.
Chase goes back to the memorial, and Nelle says sorry he got dragged in. Sheās sure she can clear things up. Chase asks if Willow is okay, and Willow says, fine so far. Nelle says she just realized. Harmony said her daughter had a new man in her life, but she had no idea it was him. Good for her. Sheās glad someone has filled the void Shiloh left. Not that anyone can. Chase says, for once in Nelleās life, sheās telling the truth, and Michael says, she is. Sheās Shilohās widow; the wedding was legit. Nelle says, it was true love of course (š·).
Sonny tells Stella that heās done his share of gambling, and knows the odds arenāt good. Carly asks, why risk it just to postpone the inevitable? and he says if it gives Mike more time, itās worth it. Jason comes in, and asks if itās a bad time. Stella says she has to get settled at the MetroCourt, and thanks Carly for the room. Carly says she deserves a night of luxury. Stella says sheāll be around if they want to talk, and Sonny says heāll walk her out. Jason sighs, and Carly asks how the memorial was; howās Michael? He says Michael is fine, but she needs to count to ten. She asks, why? and he says, Nelle showed up at the memorial. She made parole.
Nelle tells Willow and Harmony, the three of them should grab lunch sometime. They share a special bond. First Shiloh, now Chase, with Willow. Harmony wonders how they could share a cell, and she didnāt realize Nelle was delusional. I dunno. For years she didnāt realize Shiloh was delusional. Chase asks Nelle if she said what she had to say. Willow says, she said plenty, and Harmony says, yet she said nothing at all. Nelle says she has another appointment; sheāll see them later. She asks if they could do her the biggest favor. Hold on to Shilohās portrait, while she finds a place to hang it. She leaves, and I wonder what happened to the other people who were there, and disappeared.
Dustin tells Lulu, it was open mic night at a bar in lower Manhattan. He was nursing a beer, and working on writing some music, and he heard Brookās voice. He looked up, and she was in the spotlight. Lulu says, Brook can sing; sheāll give her that. Dustin says Brook came down after her song, and started taking drink orders. Lulu says, she was literally working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, and he says, that much is true. I die laughing. Lulu asks if they sang outside of a convenience store. Sheās seen that movie. He says, it ended as soon as it started. She dumped him for a piano player. She says, a guy as amazing as him, dated someone as dreadful as Brook, and she dumped him?
Michael arrives at the meeting, and Brook says she hopes he has his body armor on; knives are out. Tracy thanks him for joining them. Itās nice that he found the time. Ned asks Pascal where theyāre at, and Pascal says, the roll call. Should he go over it again? Michael says, no. Pick up where they left off. Pascal says Tracy is there for Dillon in absentia, and Tracy says she has his proxy vote. Pascal says, Michael is present, so that concludes it. Ned says, there are several items on the agenda, the first being the question of selling Oscarās shares.
Sonny thanks Stella for coming, and Stella says, but she should mind her own business. Sonny says sheās family as far as his father is concerned. What happens is her business. She says Sonny is still taking Mike to New York, isnāt he?
Carly tells Jason that Pentenville threw Nelle a jailhouse wedding before they cut her loose? Why bother? The only reason Nelle bothers with anything is money, revenge, or both. What did Shiloh have that Nelle can use?
Laura says Nikolas is flying out tonight? He says Spencer deserves to hear it from him, and he wants to see his boy. Laura says, after all Nikolas has done, heās not going to pull a vanishing act. Ava tells Laura, donāt worry. Sheāll make sure Nikolas stays in touch. Nikolas asks how sheās going to manage that, and Ava says, because sheās going with him.
Harmony asks what the hell that was about, and Chase says, itās classic Jenelle. He says he can take Harmony back on his way home, and Willow says thereās something he needs to know. Itās about Wiley, not about her. Brad is overwhelmed, and Michael was concerned Brad doesnāt have enough support. It escalated until Brad turned to her and practically begged her to be Wileyās nanny, so sheās going to help take care of him. Harmony thinks itās a good idea, and Willow says, itās a temporary situation. At some point, Brad wonāt need her, Chase asks if she really thinks sheāll just be able to walk away.
Pascal says, Oscar has fifteen bequests, but Michael says, something came up thatās a major impact. Tracy suggests they stick to the agenda, and Brook says, Michael is allowed to talk. Michael says Oscar left his shares to Shiloh, but Ned says thatās in probate. Now that Shiloh is dead, they revert to the family regardless. Tracy says, the shares couldnāt find a better home in the hands of Olivia and her precious son⦠Olivia says, Leo, and Tracy says she knew that. Brook says they should put the shares where theyāll do the most good. Ned says, Olivia and Leo are family, and more than deserving. Michael agrees with Ned, and Brook calls Michael an idiot. She asks how he can be CEO of a major company, and not see a power play is being set up. Donāt let them do it.
Nikolas says heās flying solo, but Ava says heāll face the pain of a difficult reunion with her by his side. He says itās not her place, but she says, it definitely is. She owes it to Spencer. She wants him know sheās trying to atone, and make sure whatās rightfully his is acknowledged. Laura reminds them, this is about Spencer, not redemption. Nikolas owes it to his son to be honest with him. Nikolas says, ofcourse (š·), and Laura says she wishes she could trust him. She misses being able to. All sheās asking is for him to think of Spencer, not himself ā if thatās possible. Laura leaves, and Ava says she likes that woman. The more she knows Laura, the more she likes her, and the more glad she is that Laura is her mother-in-law. Nikolas says, a technicality. Ava says she hasnāt been to Europe in years. Sheās going home to pack. Is he coming? She tells him, think of it as a honeymoon. Separate rooms of course (š·).
Dustin tells Lulu, believe it or not, thatās how the story ends. Good guy, bad girl, bad girl breaks good guyās heart. Lulu is glad Brook has terrible taste. He says Brook had a way of pushing his buttons. Lulu says, not just his. Brook is the absolute worst, and had everyone walking away from her. He says Brook did him a favor. Writing music wasnāt for him. He discovered teaching, and never looked back. Lulu says, not even after he came to Brookās rescue? He says he didnāt know it was her, and would have done it regardless. The guy was a creep, but he has to admit, if it was anyone else, it wouldnāt have escalated into a low grade riot. Lulu says, no nostalgia? and he says, the last thing he needs in his life is a wrecking ball named Brook Lynn. Lulu is glad hear that. They cuddle.
Willow tells Chase that she hopes one day that Wiley will know who she is, and sheāll help him understand why she chose Brad and Lucas to raise him. Everything is up in the air right now, and all that matters is Wiley being loved and cared for. Harmony says let her know if she can do anything, although she knows she has no right to ask. The first thing she did was use her grandson to lead Willow back to Shiloh. Sheās ashamed of that, and more than anything wants a chance to make it up to the two of them. She owes it to Willow. Willow says sheāll see what Brad says, but sheād like that very much. Harmony goes out to wait for Chase and Willow, and Willow says theyāre alone now. Let her have it. All the reasons he thinks itās a bad idea for her to take care of Wiley. He asks if she thinks she can handle it, and she says she does. He hugs her, and says, so does he.
Stella tells Sonny, every day is precious. Is it worth risking Mikeās fragile quality of life to roll the dice? Sonny says he knows itās a long shot, but even if itās one million in one that it could work, heās taking the shot.
Carly tells Jason, Shiloh was out of money when he died. One of his followers had to post bail. They know Nelle isnāt a follower, and has no spiritual motive, so why?
Olivia asks if Tracy thinks she doesnāt know she has an angle. Tracy says, fill her in on the angle Olivia thinks she has. Olivia says sheās her own person, and not just voting the way Ned wants. Ned says he trusts her judgement. Brook says, Michael is either in a naĆÆve state or doing a masterful job of sucking up. Pascal says, yay or nay, and Brook calls him Fish and Chips. He says, sheās delightful. Nelle walks in, and says, there must be some mistake. Thereās no way they started without her, right?
Tomorrow, Lulu wants Nikolas to tell her that heās sorry, Sam tells Alexis that Nelle is Shilohās widow, Olivia says theyāre going to make Nelleās life a living hell, and Sonny says he needs Jasonās help.
š Highlights Of New Jerseyā¦
On The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa told Joe #2 that she got a lot of calls inquiring about the menās line after the fashion show, and because Teresa is defending Danielle, Margaret is going crazy. The fertility doctor called with their test results, and Melissa was more than okay, but Joe #2 had only 3 swimmers out of what should have been 15 million. Everyone found this hysterically funny, and the doctor said quitting a supplement heād been taking should fix things. Marge had success with a drag queen brunch, and decided to have another one, as well as a Motherās Day brunch. Because Teresa had been incommunicado, Marge decided not to invite her. Jackie agreed they werenāt in a good place, and Marge had to do what she felt was right. Jackie decided to invite the women to her Hamptons house, hoping theyād bond. While they were having a pedicure, Teresa told Dolores that she wanted to matchmake Gia and Frankie Jr., and Dolores let it slip about Margeās brunch. She suggested Teresa talk to Marge, but Teresa wasnāt having it if Marge didnāt want to invite her.
Motherās Day happened, and Teresaās girls made breakfast. She said she was lucky to have them, and that Motherās Day was difficult for her since sheād lost her mom. She griped that Marge knew it was difficult, and should have invited her. The girls gave Teresa a card, and counted down to Teresa crying over it. Joe #1 called, and Teresa told him that the girls had gotten her a necklace with her name on it. Since everything has to be about him, Joe claimed heād gotten a name necklace for Teresa a while back, and criticized her for not remembering. Their daughters said he must be right, and in Teresaās interview, she said it started out being a beautiful day, but Joe always gets the girls to go against her. She said she was no longer tolerating his disrespect.
At Margeās Motherās Day brunch, the drag queens greeted the guest moms, and flower crowns were passed out. We also learned, champagne for breakfast is totally appropriate. The drag queens put on a show, and Jenniferās mother said sheād never been to anything like it. Up until then, the wildest thing sheād seen was the ugly naked guy in Times Square. We saw a photo of the Naked Cowboy, who wears briefs and is hardly ugly. Melissa was shocked that Marge didnāt invite Teresa, but Marge said they hadnāt talked at the fashion show, and Teresa was pissed because Marge said she was an embarrassment. Marge admitted to being embarrassed about her own behavior as well. In Melissaās interview, she said Marge had only seen the namaste Teresa. It was her first rodeo with the going from zero to ten Teresa. At the brunch, the moms and daughters told stories from when they were growing up. They showed a picture of Marge Sr. as a young mother, and wowza! She was gorgeous. Everyone ended up crying. Jennifer noted that when the drag queens were performing, there was a lot of arm crossing and squinting from her mother.
Dolores said David didnāt think it was important when she asked him to show up for things, and he took advantage of her kindness. Maybe he doesnāt want to be seen on TV with this water-throwing, ponytail-pulling group. At least weāre actually seeing him this season. Jennifer asked her mom what she thought about the drag queens. Her mom said Dolores told her they were men, and she said, youāve got to be kidding? which I guess is a compliment. Jennifer thought her mom had come a long way, and said she was raising her own children to be accepting of people Ā She brought up her brother being gay, but her mom wasnāt very comfortable talking about that, saying she was old-fashioned, and it was his life. If heās happy, God be with him. Jennifer wanted her mother to be happy that he wasnāt living a lie.
Marge helped Marge Sr. do some organizing. In Margeās interview, she said Marge Sr. claimed she wanted to be more of a mother, but theyāre keeping their roles as they are. Marge is the mother, and is going to fix Marge Sr.ās life for her. Teresa didnāt want to go to the Hamptons because It was pouring out, and she was in a bad mood. She told Dolores that she was busting ass, but the kids take Joeās side all the time. Dolores told her to put her foot down. No surprise, Jackieās house in the Hamptons was fabulous. Marge told Melissa, at some point, you have to decide whatās right and wrong, and you canāt be friends with a certain type of person, by which I assume she meant Danielle. Melissa agreed, but said you canāt tell someone who to be friends with either.
When Teresa got there, she thanked Jackie for inviting her ā and thanked Marge for not inviting her. So we started that way. Marge wanted to talk later, but Teresa said they were in the same friend group, and everyone else was talking about it. Marge said she had intended to invite Teresa, and even brought her a goody bag, which I thought was really tacky. I would never give someone a goody bag from a party I didnāt invite them to. Teresa didnāt want it, and I didnāt blame her.
Next time, more of the Hamptons, and Jennifer directs some loud and stupid at Melissa in public.

Ned says, just like that, and she says he doesnāt think sheād sell her son out, does he? He says, it wouldnāt be the first time. However, she didnāt have to come back to warn him. She turned them down; end of story. She says, no. When she declined, they took a different tactic. They went after Luke.
Linc says Brook is his client, but she says, more like a hostage. He grabbed her after he felt her up. Linc tells her not to make it a me too moment. Give him a break. Lulu tells him to calm down. A guy Jordan used to work with passed away at Christmas, and it hit her hard. Sheās reluctant to open up to him. If only Stella was on this side of the Atlantic. The elevator doors open, and Stella comes out, saying, if only indeed.
Alexis says, let her get it straight. Neil may lose his license because he likes her? He says, because he told her, and did something about it. Alexis says they did everything by the book, and only went out once after Neil ended treatment with both her and Kristina. He says he may have skimmed the book instead of reading it. Alexis asks what he missed, and he says, professional ethics. He was supposed to wait two years after treating her to date her. Alexis says, thatās an important part to miss; he should have known. He says he was so happy to be with her, he thought since she was no longer a patient, it was just a formality. Alexis says, as long as no one found out, and he says, someone did.
Neil says he got a notice from the accreditation board. Someone filed a complaint. Alexis wonders if itās someone from Dawn of Day, and he says, in a way, itās Shilohās fault. He set the events with Kendra in motion. The reports came back, and included his presence during Alexisās rescue. They connected the dots. She says, Kendraās mother is still alive, and wonders if thatās a possibility. He says, it happened, and now heās facing a hearing. Heās going to throw himself at the mercy of the board. She says, absolutely not.
Jordan tells Laura, itās a cold case, and the victim was exonerated. Drew can no longer provide testimony, so itās not likely the case will move forward for investigation or any charges will be filed. Laura says her hope is that Nikolas will own up to his past mistakes, and build up his life. She suggests they talk about the waterfront, and Jordan says sheās confused. Laura ran for office fighting against the redevelopment of Charles Street. Laura says, the waterfront is a different story. Itās been a magnet for crime long as she can remember. Ned tells Tracy, the last time Luke got involved, he nearly sank the company; heās toxic. Tracy says, have a nice life in poverty. Maybe he should fight their enemies with both hands tied behind his back. He asks, what happened? and she says, Luke found himself in a spot of trouble. Something to do with counterfeit tulips. The investors agreed to make his problems go away. Ned says, in exchange for Dillonās shares? Tracy says she told them to jump in the canal, and Ned asks if he should start applauding. She says, no. Step up and defend daddyās legacy instead.
Michael tells Willow, itās fine if she decides to change her mind. Kristina decided not to go. Willow says, itās too fresh for her. Jason and Chase have arrived, and Jason says Sam isnāt going either. Diane convinced her to steer clear since sheās responsible for Shilohās death. Chase says, Sam could be a target for taking out their beloved leader. Jason says heās more interested in who framed Sam. Maybe theyāll show up.
Linc says Brook can call herself Daffy Duck for all he cares; the contract is still in force and heās still in charge. She has no say so. She says sheās not working for scum like him, and Lulu says, itās sexual harassment. Linc tells her to stay out of it. The language is clear. Brook has to provide three records. If she doesnāt, then she needs to use her mouth for something other than music. Dustin punches him in the mouth. Iām actually surprised he said that in front of a room full of people.
Chase gets a call from the PCPD, and Willow asks if itās an emergency. He says he has to help with a disturbance, and asks if sheāll be okay without him. Michael says he and Jason will be there, and Willow says, so will her mom. Sheāll be ready to correct any misconceptions Shilohās followers have about his legacy. Chase leaves, and Michael asks if Willow is ready to head over. Willow says, ready as sheāll ever be, and they go.
Alexis tells Neil to send her the complaint. She wants to look it over. Sheāll find a loophole or a technicality. He says, what if she doesnāt? and she says, not everything is in black and white. They had one date; it doesnāt constitute as much, and they werenāt very physical. He asks if his thoughts count. She tells him, donāt claim fault. Never say heās sorry or it was a mistake. Tell them, itās not serious, and heāll do better in the future. He says what if he doesnāt want to? What if he wants to make the same mistake over and over again?
Curtis finds Jordan in the interrogation room. He says heād like to file a missing personās report. His wife has gone missing. Jordan says, dinner at the MetroCourt. Sheās so sorry. Why didnāt he call? He says, he did, and texted. She says her phone is in her office, and she didnāt check. Curtis says, luckily, they make a mean cobb salad and apple pie, and gives her a take-out bag. She says she doesnāt deserve him, and he says he wants to keep the Commissioner happy. She says he does, and apologizes again. He says, as it turns out, he found another hot date. Sheās so special, that he wants Jordan to meet her. He says, come on in, and Stella says, donāt worry. Her nephew only has eyes for Jordan. They laugh.
Tracy says ELQ needs a seasoned professional, and sheās looking at Ned. Michael wants it to be about hugging trees, and sustainable this, and reusable that. Ned asks if sheās heard of climate change, and she asks if heās heard of profit loss. The doorbell rings, and Ned suggests they table the discussion for forever. She says, whoever it is, can wait. Ned opens the door, and seeing Tracy, Laura says, itās a nice surprise. She hopes sheās not interrupting. Ned looks at Tracy.
Lulu says, oh my God, Dustin, and Brook says heās still got it. Linc takes a swing at Dustin and misses. They tussle, and Dustin gets Linc in a headlock. Linc elbows him, and Lulu grabs at Linc from behind, then hits him with the rack from the pool table. Brook grabs a pool cue, and says, take that. Chase comes in, and says, break it up, while Brook goes to the bar for an empty bottle. She cracks Chase over the head by mistake, but apparently his head is pretty hard, and it doesnāt even slow him down. She asks why he got in the way.
At Shilohās memorial, a large photo of his smiling face sits propped up on an easel. Jason, Michael, and Willow come in. Daisy approaches them, and thanks them for coming, giving them each a program. Willow asks if Daisy arranged it, and Daisy says, a donation of any amount is welcome. Michael asks if Willow is okay, and she says she feels awful. Daisy is hanging on; trying to matter to a man who never saw her as anything but a dupe. Michael reminds her that Daisy posted Shilohās bail last time. Harmony comes in, and asks how Willow is. Willow says, better, now that Harmony is there. Michael asks if Harmony is sure sheās up for it, and she says wouldnāt miss this freak show for the world. They stand in the back, and Willow asks how Harmonyās job is so far. Harmony says, good. It can be rewarding when she has moments of connection that make her feel genuinely worthwhile. She wishes the good she did at DoD had a fraction of that meaning. Willow canāt believe Shiloh is being celebrated. Harmony asks why Jason is there; theyāre all in danger. Alexis says heās good at what he does; heās passionate and empathetic. He asks if it was worth sacrificing his family for his career. He doesnāt think so anymore. Saving people from themselves? Maybe itās time to try something new. Alexis says, like what? and he says there are other jobs where he can use his training and expertise, where he doesnāt have to adhere to a code of conduct. They could see if thereās something to explore between them. Alexis asks if heās willing to drop kick his career for her.
Jordan hugs Stella, and asks why sheās back so soon. Stella says the trip is for work, but sheās glad to see them. Curtis says he left his cell in the car. He leaves, and Jordan says heās as subtle as a crowbar. What does he want them to talk about? Stella says heās worried about her. She recently lost an old friend. Jordan says, Bob. They worked together at the DEA, yet he died of an overdose. Stella says sheās sorry, and Jordan says, it doesnāt make sense. Bob was comfortably retired. He had a pension, and was doing consulting. He was as straight-laced as they come. Stella says, thatās one reason addiction is so dangerous. The people affected are good at keeping it from their loved ones. Jordan says she should have stayed in touch, and Stella says, because she would have recognized the signs, and been able to help? Maybe; maybe not. But remember sheās not alone. She has people who love her and want to help. Stella looks at the file, and says, obsessing over her friendās death wonāt bring him back.
Laura appreciates Ned taking the time to talk to her, and Tracy says, Laura didnāt give them much choice. Ned asks what she needs to talk about, and Laura says sheās meeting with constituents about renovating the waterfront. She wondered if ELQ would be interested in a public private partnership. Tracy says Laura ran on a platform opposing renovation, but Laura says she was opposed to the gentrification of Charles Street because they wanted the people out. Ned says he wonāt defend Jim Harveyās tactics, but conserving landmarks while restoring the area, and generating tax revenue was part of his platform. What changed? Laura says they can find a compromise with their visions, and work closely with the community. She can see what changes they want without just giving them a design and no input. Sheās hoping ELQ would be interested in investing. He agrees it would be a benefit to the people in the area, and Tracy says, sounds like a win-win. Laura says, it will be a loss to anyone who uses the waterfront to conduct business on the wrong side of the law, and Tracy says, like Sonny Corinthos.
Chase plops Lulu in a chair, handcuffed. Linc, Dustin, and Brook are all in handcuffs as well. Linc says he wants his lawyer, and Brook says heās going to need one. Dustin asks if sheās okay, and she says heās awesome. Linc says heās going to sue for intimidation and assault, but Brook says, the only person who was assaulted was her. And the cop, but that was an accident. Linc says he owns her voice and her songs. Unless she fully completes her contract, her career is over. Chase tells him, shut up, and asks how Lulu got involved in this. She says she and Dustin were supposed to be having a great night, when those two came along. They were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Chase says he canāt play favorites, and heās bringing all four of them in.
Alexis says sheās not going to let Neil lose a career he loves over a night of drag Bingo and one kiss; no matter how nice the kiss was. Neil asks what the alternative is, and she says when he testifies, tell them it was one date. He says, one and a half, and she says, tell them it was inconsequential. Thereās no reason for him to lose his license over an ethical issue. She knows what itās like to be threatened with your livelihood being ripped out from under you. He asks what about them, and she says she doesnāt want his career on her conscious. She doesnāt want him to look back and regret or blame her for the loss. Maybe someday⦠He says, thatās two years away, and patience is not his strong suit.
Curtis comes back, and asks, whereās Stella? Jordan says, she had to go, and said she would call later. Sheās been over every page of the report on Bobās death. She requested official copies, saying it might be germane to an investigation. He says, but it was an excuse to get the paperwork. She says she knows she hadnāt seen Bob in a long time, but she still canāt believe he ODād. Curtis says when he was an addict, no one believed he was, including him. At first, he barely used, and made excuses, but one day it became real. It had taken over his life. That may be what happened with Bob. She says, maybe; maybe not. But she owes it to Bob and his family to keep looking until she finds answers.
At the station, Linc says heās the only victim, and Lulu says, groping someone against their will is a crime. Jordan comes out, and asks, what the hell is going on?
Laura says sheās aware that Sonny lands cargo at several piers, and Tracy says, thatās not coffee. Ned says Michael is careful not to interfere with Sonnyās business, and doesnāt think heāll back the renovation. Not if it will add more scrutiny to Sonny. Laura says she knows itās a delicate situation. If he has any advice on how to broach the subject with Michael, sheās open to it. Tracy tells her, be patient. Michael may not be in charge for long. Laura asks if heās leaving. Laura and Ned both get a text from the PCPD asking them to come to the station.
Daisy is still talking. She addresses Shiloh, saying, wherever he is, their trust remains whole and unbroken, and theyāll keep working to ensure every day is a newer, brighter dawn. She asks if anyone would like to share how Shiloh changed their life, and Willow says she would. She goes up front. She says she knows how much Shiloh means to all of them. He meant so much to so many who are struggling. He was drawn to the vulnerable, friendless, and troubled souls who had nowhere else to turn. He wanted to help, but he wanted to help himself to their money, bodies, and self-esteem. He took all their pain and inhaled it like perfume to give himself more power and control. He didnāt care about them, especially not Daisy. He wanted to own them, humiliate them, and destroy their free will. The worst thing is that he tricked them into thinking they needed him, and wanted him to tell them what to do. Look around. Shiloh is dead, and theyāre still standing. They didnāt need him after all. She tells them, donāt be sad. Shiloh is gone. They should be thrilled, because theyāre free. Shame on that menace to society. Sheās glad heās dead, and hopes he rots in hell.
A veiled woman gets up. She tells Willow, sheās said her piece. Now itās her turn.
Alexis says she canāt ask Neil to sacrifice his career for her. Itās not fair to anyone. He says, if thatās the case, he doesnāt think they should see each other after the hearing. She says, not even as friends? He thinks it would be more ammunition. Sheās been named in the complaint, and heās sure theyāll reach out to her. She says sheāll be on the lookout. So this is it? He says, this is it. He wishes it could have been different. He walks out, and she looks disappointed, but I donāt know what she expected.
Brook says sheās filing a protest, and Chase threatens to put her in a holding cell with her friend. She says heās not her friend. He says, her producer then, but she says, the contract is bogus. He says, the charges arenāt. He has a delicate head and itās still aching. She says, it was an accident. She was swinging a Linc. Chase leaves to get an aspirin.
Lulu says, Dustinās poor eye; does it hurt? He says only when he looks out of it. Heās sorry he got her into this mess, and she says, apology not accepted. She got herself into it. Since Brook was involved, she should have known better. He never did get a chance to tell her; how do they know each other?
Tracy says, leave it to Brook to get into a barroom brawl. Laura thinks thereās more to the story. Lulu wouldnāt have gotten drawn into something like that. Tracy tells Ned, if Brook has to spend the night there, let her. Ned says, things are always complicated when it comes to his daughter, and Tracy says, uncomplicate them. She doesnāt need him distracted. She smiles as she closes the door behind them.
The veiled woman says she didnāt know Shiloh long, but they did share a special bond. After all ā she removes her veil, and itās Nelle ā he was her husband.
Tomorrow, Lulu tells Dustin not to leave anything out, Ava says Nikolas isnāt getting what he wants until she does, and Nelle says sheās Mrs. Archer and theyāre all her guests.
Vanderpump Rules

She gets in a bubble bath, and the girls make suggestions for poses. In Stassiās interview, she says she would be in a giant tub filled with ranch. Who could resist that? Brittany asks Stassi how the weekend was, and Stassi says she felt calm the day after the funeral. The weekend in NOLA to celebrate her grandmother was awesome. It was a lovefest for her grandmother. She feels like she wants to pick up her life again. Katie texted her about some major sh*t. Lala says Kristen swore she and Carter are off, so she pulled Carter aside. Stassi asks if heās going to the bachelorette party. In Brittanyās interview, she says she doesnāt remember inviting Carter. He might be Kristenās plus one, but it will be weird for him to go to the party if theyāre broken up. Lala says she invited James to the studio. Sheās seen James when heās great, and itās sad that most people will probably never see him that way. In her interview, Lala says, James has been horrible to people. We flash back to that, and Lala says in her program they practice forgiveness. She has to do this for herself. Stassi tells Lala that she wonāt say, I told you so, but sheāll think it in her head.
Brett goes to Villa Rosa to give Lisa a training session. He tells her squats are good for her core, and she says her core is fine. In her interview, Lisa says SUR and TomTom are revolving doors of young, beautiful people. Brett is a gorgeous hunk who knows how to take care of his body. She hopes he can help her out with hers. She asks how things are at SUR, and he says, Scheana is nice ā too nice. In Brettās interview, he says they made out for two seconds, and youād have thought he gave her a six-carat ring. He needs to show her a dictionary, so she knows what friend means. He tells Lisa that heās not going to shag Scheana. The ponies snort, and Lisa says, even they agree.
Peter tells Scheana that sheās training Charli, Brett, and Dayna. Maybe one of them will find a boyfriend today. In Scheanaās interview, she says, before yesterday, Dayna was the girl she walked past to get in her friendās bar. Now Dayna is the girl screwing her boss and her leftovers. Um⦠is he still considered a leftover when he ghosted her? She says, is it Daynaās job to polish every glass? No, but it happens to the best of them, including her. We flash back to when Stassi had Scheana doing the same thing. Scheana says, sorry not sorry. In Daynaās interview, she says she finds it interesting that out of the two people Scheana is training, the only one not being trained is the one sleeping with her boss. Dayna asks if sheās done something to upset Scheana, and Scheana says she and Max are good friends, but they did have a thing. He said she was boy crazy, and it upset her. Maybe donāt sleep with staff. She knows Dayna and Max are hooking up. Dayna says she doesnāt want to make Scheana feel any kind of way, but Scheana insists she and Max are just friends. Dayna says Max says the same; she wants to make sure heās not lying. Scheana says, do her, do him, have fun. In Daynaās interview, she says sheās read the book and seen the movie. Scheana is trying to make her feel less powerful. Do what you need to, to get through the day.
In her interview, Lala tells us that her brother Easton lives in Salt Lake City, and is the chilliest person in the entire world. She wants to bring him into a real studio. Easton records some music, and Lala says he brought tears to her eyes. James arrives, and they hug. She says sheās been writing a lot since her dad passed. In Jamesās interview, he says he misses working with her. They have songs on the books that they havenāt recorded because they canāt get past their sh*t. She tells him that she wants to talk one on one, and the studio guys make themselves scarce. She asks, whatās up? and he says heās been disconnected. She says sheās been lucky enough to see the great James Kennedy, but not everybody is so lucky. What they see is not so great. There have been moments that made people write him off, but for her, itās harder. She believes in him. She embraces him as a good dude who did some effed up sh*t. James seems confused as to what he did, so she gives him some examples, like body shaming, calling her whore, and calling Brittany a hillbilly. How do they prevent this from happening again? He says he feels like heās in a better head space, and thinks heās growing up. If she considers it squashed, then he does. She says, theyāre squashed. Sheās unblocking him, and he can Instastalk her. He says, itās not about that, and she says sheās going to Instastalk him to see if heās posting bullsh*t.
Dayna and Max go out to eat, as do Danica, Ariana, and Scheana, but in a different restaurant. In Arianaās interview, she says Danica was the assistant manager at SUR, but sheās currently suspended for shoving her bartender boyfriend when he suggested a threesome. Sheās a typical SUR girl. Danica says Max is the SURiest person of all. He slept with both friends she brought there, and told them he owned part of TomTom. She hopes Dayna doesnāt think sheās special. Scheana says, Dayna is so naĆÆve. She loves it.
Dayna tells Max that she feels like Scheana is giving her busy work, instead of actually training her. She wonders if Scheana and Max are cool, why does it matter? Max says Scheana is a cool chick, but sheās in a place where he isnāt. Sheās older, and sheās stopped taking birth control. She wants to freeze her eggs. In Daynaās interview, she says, telling a 27 year old that youāre off birth control, is like yelling fire in a crowded movie theater. She asks how long they were going out, and Max says, a month.
Scheana says, Max played her, and Ariana says, too bad. They were cute for a while. Scheana knows she acts stupid, buying guys presents. She got Max a watch for Thanksgiving. Who does that? She was thankful he made her feel special.
Max tells Dayna that he left his sunglasses at Schwartzās place. When he went by to get them, Katie and Lala were there, and they think sheās amazing. We see a clip of them saying they like her. He says they want to go to her comedy show. Lala also asked about her mom, Dayna says her mom got brain cancer her first year in college. She was an absolute mess, and didnāt handle her death well. In Maxās interview, he says, Dayna has a lot of depth. Scheana wants to talk about photo shoots, or music, or emojis. Itās not enlightening. He says he wants to see Daynaās show.

Alexis asks if sheās caught anything.

Robert says, the procedure and Drewās death are connected, and asks if sheās come up with any evidence linking Peter to the assassin. She flashes back to Peter admitting that he worked at Faisonās company at the same time David Black did. Robert asks if Jason had any hard evidence, and she says, no. He asks if itās a bad time. Alexis says, itās perfect timing, and invites him in. Sam says sheāll give them space, and tells Neil, hello and goodbye. She leaves, and Alexis says, welcome home. He wants to make sure sheās ready to have sex again. She laughs, and says she appreciates him asking for consent. Sheād be lying if she said she didnāt have family drama going on, but a girl has her wants. She wants to be happy, and sheās happy with him. He says he canāt argue, and they kiss. He goes to settle the check, and she says sheāll wait outside; donāt keep her waiting. As she gets up, Brook runs into her, spilling her drink on Lulu. Brook says, sorry, but then sees who it is, and says, or not.
Robert says Mac told him that Anna has had the file since before Christmas. She must have found something. She says, nothing that links Peter to the assassin. He asks, what about Jasonās theory? and she says, itās a theory. Thereās no evidence to support it. He wonders if she didnāt look too close, and says she has a Peter-sized blind spot. If sheās not careful, she could be in a lot of trouble. When Peter goes down, he doesnāt want her going with him. Things are in the works that are going to show her what her would-be (Robertās WOTD) son is really like.
Peter tells Franco that he appreciates the complement, but heās uncomfortable being the center of attention. Franco says heās a hero, and Peter says thatās kind of him to say, but he prefers to publish the news rather than be the news. He and Maxie would love to have dinner. He tells Elizabeth, pick the date, and let him know; theyāll be there. He says, itās good to see them, and starts to leave. She asks if heās not meeting Maxie, but he looks at his phone and says, sheās craving Noodle Buddha now. He leaves, and Franco says, awkward. Whatās up with that guy?
Spinelli tells Maxie, he doesnāt mean to pry, but this could be a watershed moment. Sheās not thinking of leaving Crimson, is she? She says, forget it, and he says, itās forgotten. Sam comes out of the elevator, and hugs Spinelli. Maxie asks him to tell Sam the good news, and he says, itās not good news yet, but it might be. Itās possible Ellie might get a local job in Queens Point, but nothing is set in stone. Sam hopes Ellie gets the job. They need him there.
Neil hope he didnāt interrupt Alexis and Sam, but Alexis says Sam was on her way out. She asks when he get back, and he says, a few hours ago. She says he came right over? and he says he tried to call, but got voicemail. She says her phone was on silent, and asks how Montclair was. Did he spend time with his brother and family? He says, it was nice, and she says, just nice? Sheās glad, but she should have gotten him a thesaurus for Christmas. She forgot to thank him for saving her life before he left. She missed him. He seems distracted, and she says, okay. Just tell her whatās going on.
Tracy says Michael is going to skip the shareholders meeting for a memorial service for a sociopath? Why give that twisted guru a second of his time? Michael says Shilohās followers will be there for closure, and he wants to be supportive. In particular for Kristina and Willow. Ned explains that Willow is Wileyās birth bother, and Tracy says Michael is so consistent, making nice with a sweet single mother. Shocking. Michael says, fun as this was, he needs to hit the road. Ned tells him, good luck. After Michael is gone, Tracy tells Ned to drop the cool and collected act. He asks her, why the sudden revitalized interest in ELQ? Ā Ā
Lulu tells Brook to watch where sheās going, but Brook says Lulu hit her drink. This is where Lulu offers to buy her another round. Lulu says she knew Brook would ruin this. Brook sees Dustin, and says, oh my God. Is she on a date? There are peanut shells on the floor; she should practice better self-care. Lulu says, if itās such a dive, what is Brook doing there? Brook says, performing, and Lulu asks how it feels going from Webster Hall to this? Brook says she has to go, and tells Lulu, enjoy her date. Lulu joins Dustin at the bar, and he asks, what happened? she says she was just showered with Sex on the Beach. Brook tells herself sheās got this. No one can stop her. A skeevy looking dude walks in, and says, want a bet?
Alexis says Neil is clearly distracted and distant. He says heās here, and happy to see her. She says she can tell. Heās been off the radar, which is understandable because of the holidays. She understands. Neil says he kept in touch, and she says they texted nightly and he came straight there, but itās awkward. He says he didnāt mean to give mixed-up signals, and she says, talk to her. He can tell her anything. He gets up, and says, something happened while he was away.
Spinelli tells Sam and Maxie, the possibility of moving back is exhilarating; heād love to be close as a family again. Peter comes back, and Maxie says, look whoās here. They exchange pleasantries, and Spinelli, who looks uncomfortable, says he has to go check in and get settled. He hopes to catch up soon. Maxie hugs him and Georgie, and tells Spinelli, thanks.
Franco says now he knows Peter is uncomfortable with praise, and Elizabeth says, itās a sign of insecurity. Franco thinks itās weird, and wonders if Peter is socially awkward like Jason. Elizabeth tells him, if he gets in the habit of complaining about Jason, he might slip in front of Jake. Franco says heāll change the subject. What was he like as another person? Was he cool or stone cold like Jason? She says he can judge for himself. He recorded a video message for Cameron. She hand him a phone, and says itās his to watch when he wants.
Michael meets Jason at the MetroCourt bar, and apologizes for being late. He says, Tracy finally made her move, and Jason asks, how bad? Michael says he thinks sheās after ELQ.
Ned asks Tracy to tell him what her angle is. She says sheās concerned for the family, and he says her time away with Luke has made her soft; she used to be a better liar. She asks why she would lie, and he says she hasnāt shown a scintilla of interest in the family. Now she drops in out of the sky to take pot shots at Michael and his daughter. She says she wants to make sure ELQ remains in the familyās hands, and he says, sheās making a play for ELQ again, isnāt she?
Brook asks what heās doing there, and I think we can assume heās her producer, Zak. He says he had a meeting with a Canadian hip-hop artist whoās supposed to be the next Drake. He thought heād stop in before he went back to civilization. Imagine his surprise when he saw that Brook Quartermaine was preforming. She says, itās a two drink minimum; enjoy the show. He says if she does this gig under any name, sheās breaching her contract, and heāll sue her. She says sheās sure he has more successful clients; why wonāt he leave her alone? He says he sees her potential, and grabs her. He pulls her to him, and says he doesnāt care. He doesnāt give up on talent, and wants further collaboration. She whacks him in the mouth, and steps away from him.
Alexis says sheās thinking Neil must have met someone, and thatās fine. He says, itās nothing like that . Heās losing his medical license. She asks how thatās possible, and he says, because of her.
Zak says, there she is. The diva heās always wanted. He moves toward Brook, who says, donāt touch her. Lulu comes out of nowhere, and pulls him back, calling him an SOB, and telling him to get his hands off of Brook. Dustin slams him up against the wall, and asks if he was never taught not to put his hands on a woman. Brook says, teach? and Dustin says, Brook?
Ned says Tracy has a sudden interest in voting Dillonās shares, and in Michael directing the company. She wants to push Michael out as CEO and chairman, and put herself in his place. She says, not her. Someone else.
Michael tells Jason, Tracy had a field day talking about Shilohās memorial. It wasnāt her usual snark. She said he was neglecting the company. Jason says Michael doesnāt have be there, and Michael says Jason doesnāt either. Jason says he thinks whoever is behind this memorial has an agenda, and Michael says he does too.
Elizabeth asks if Franco doesnāt want to watch. He says he does, but doesnāt think heās ready to see himself. Heās kind of terrified, and guesses that makes him a coward. She says, far from it. Whenever heās ready, it will be there. He smiles.
Maxie tells Peter that sheās almost finished. She asks if Sam wants to join them for dinner, but Sam says, sorry. Olivia just texted her. The kids were spending the night, and now they donāt want to, so mom to the rescue. Sheād like a raincheck though, and Maxie says sheāll hold Sam to it. Sam leaves, and Maxie asks if Peter made reservations. He says he changed his mind, and asks if Noodle Buddha on the sofa and a move sound good. She says, it sounds like heaven, and goes to get her purse.
Anna asks what Robert means by things in the works. Is the PCPD launching an investigation, or is he calling in favors from the WSB? He asks her to promise that when the truth comes out, and itās not to her liking, sheāll stand clear. If heās right⦠She says, what if heās wrong, and thereās no proof. Will he admit Peter is innocent? He says, no proof; no case. She says if thatās the best she can get, sheāll take it. She tells him, itās kind of late, and he tells her, goodnight. He leaves, and she goes to her desk. She finds the papers that point to the connection between David Black and Peter, and hides them inside a book.
Tomorrow, Brook has a show to do, Neil doesnāt want to make the same mistake again, and Laura says she loves Nikolas no matter what he may have done.
Below Deck
The boat is cleaned up for the next charter. Captain Lee calls Rhylee to the Sky Lounge. Kate tells her, go in, and take responsibility for everything. The captain says heās talked with Ashton and everybody else, and they have a situation ā and itās unpleasant. Sheās probably one of the hardest working people heās worked with, but this aināt Alaska. Itās a yacht, and they behave differently. As with all unpleasant situations, he had to come up with a solution, and heās come to the conclusion theyāre going to make it work. Itās going to take change on Ashtonās part, and a lot on hers. Sometimes, the only way to change the way people treat you, is how you react to how they treat you. In the captainās interview, he says Rhylee is a hard worker, but her edges are about as rough as they come, and itās the end of the charter season. He tells Rhylee that he wants them to do better, and expects it. In Rhyleeās interview, she says, Ashton tried to get her fired, and it hurts. They genuinely donāt like her. Where does she go from here? Late tells Rhylee that she needs a break, and hugs her.
The captain radios Ashton. He tells Ashton that he could have dealt with it the way Ashton wanted to, which is just make it go away, but thatās not managing. (He listened to Kate!) Ashton says he canāt change Rhylee, and Captain Lee says heās not asking Ashton to do that. Heās asking him to try and make it work. He asks if Ashton said heās just tolerating her, and Ashton admits he did. Ashton says, itās the truth, but the captain says, sometimes the truth isnāt the best management skill. Ashton is retaliating, and itās not a role he canāt afford to take when heās in management. Ashton says he respects the captain, and will respect his wishes. Heās willing to do it. Captain Lee tells him, do it with an open mind because his isnāt. In Ashtonās interview, he says heās shocked at how it turned out. When a decision needed to be made, the captain went with the third deckhand. He respects Captain Lee, and is going to do what he said, but hopes itās for a good reason. What just happened? He radios Rhylee. I laugh my head off. Poor Ashton. He didnāt get what he wanted ā the easy way out.
Rhylee meets with Ashton, and he says, what happened last night is past. This morning, they need to make it work, and respect each other and the situation. They need to put in the effort, and it will be okay. He asks if thereās anything else she wants to say or add, but she shakes her head. He leaves, and she says, itās an effing joke.
Ashton tells Brian, Rhylee isnāt going anywhere. Molly texts Ashton, and asks if he wants to meet up. In his interview, he says he doesnāt want to cause sh*t among the crew, but when guests are off the boat, theyāre fair game. He tells Molly that they can meet.
Kate asks if Rhylee would be offended if she and Tanner hooked up underneath her (referring to the bottom bunk, not anything kinky). In Kateās interview, she says, Kevin is mean to her, and Ashton is mean to her; she needs consolation. The crew gets ready to go out. Rhylee likes when they have separate taxis for the girls and guys, since sheās with the guys all day. Ashton tells Kevin, by the time the ex-guests arrive, heāll be sleeping. Rhylee says all the guys are pissed at her, so that just leaves the three girls to hook up with. They laugh.
They hit The Library, and in his interview, Tanner says he was out of commission when they went there the last time. Ashton hooked up with Kate, and Brian kissed Courtney; who is Tanner going to kiss? Apparently, Tanner has a pretty loose definition of hooking up. He asks Kate if sheās going home with him, and she says, yes. Molly and Justine (from the last charter) walk in. Kate says, itās ridiculous. The bartenders do the Tom Cruise/Kokomo/Cocktail thing behind the bar. In Tannerās interview, he says theyāre sexual tension between him and Kate, and now Justine has been thrown in the mix. Heās just going to get drunk and see what happens. No comment. Ashton says, the other girls arenāt happy. Kate steps out with Kevin for a smoke, and tells him theyāve spent all this time listening to these women and catering to them, and now the one time they donāt have to⦠In Kevinās interview, he says itās as annoying for him as it is for Kate. Itās their time. Molly says sheās moving n three weeks, and Ashton kisses her. Tanner asks if he can slide into Justineās DMs. In Kateās interview, she says sheās been the one working all season. She should get to screw a deckhand. Ashton says nothing surprises him with Kate. He doesnāt want to make drama. He tells Molly that heāll see her in five days, and the crew gets in the taxis.
Rhylee tells the other girls that Ashton was asking Molly out. Kate says sheād rather do it with a Vienna sausage. Theyāre pale, yucky, sit in coagulated fat, and nobody knows what to do with them. They get back to the dock. Brian says Courtney is beautiful, and she says heās drunk. In her interview, she says when she gets to know someone, itās usually a day by day progression. She likes him a lot, and thinks they have a genuine connection. She doesnāt know what to say. They jog the rest of the way to the boat.
Everyone goes to bed, and in her interview, Kate says she admits sheās had a few drinks and sheās bored. Tanner has been flirting with her all season. Now sheās cashing in her ticket. She goes to his cabin, saying, Tanner, Tanner, Kate. Pajama party. Heās barely conscious, and she asks if heās okay. In Kateās interview, she thinks itās a good learning lesson for him. Drink less, hook up more. She goes back to her own cabin, and says, so rude.
Everyone forces themselves out of bed in the morning. Kate asks Tanner if heās okay, telling him that she went to invite him to her room, but he wouldnāt even flip over. In his interview, he says, is she kidding him? He blew it. Rhylee folds towels, and says, they canāt fire her even if they try. She helps with the towline, and Captain Lee watches her and Ashton work together. In his interview, Captain Lee says heās not a fan micromanaging, and heās not starting now with Rhylee and Ashton. Theyāre adults. They donāt have to like each other, but they have to work together. Neither one of them is going anywhere. He told them what he expects ā deliver. Simone tells Courtney that Tanner is standoffish, and Courtney says heās been canoodling. In Courtneyās interview, she says, Tanner is a playboy for sure. Heād said he wanted to hook up with other people, but sheās not telling Simone that he wants to hook up with other people who are her boss. Brianās not mature, but heās more mature than Tanner. In Brianās interview, he says he doesnāt know where he and Courtney stand after the season is over. As far ask his daughter is concerned, heās been single all her life. He needs to be confident about who he introduces to her, and canāt bring women in and out of her life.
Tanner tells Ashton that Kate was going to invite him to her room, and they laugh. The captain calls Kate, Ashton, and Kevin to the mess for the preference sheet meeting. The new primary is AlexisBellino (former cast member on The Real Housewives of Orange County). Sheās recently divorced, and her boyfriend Andrew is looking forward to a romantic vacation. He says, sheās obviously moving on. In Kateās interview, she says her only concern about a Housewife on a charter is they tend to be dramatic. The good news is, they canāt flip over tables since the tables are nailed down. The captain says theyāre not coming until late afternoon, so Kevin doesnāt have to be concerned with lunch. They want a green, Irish theme party, and a cave/island excursion. He suggests the Pilah Lagoon, and says Alexis wants to celebrate her independence day. Kate says, as long as the guests have the most drama, theyāre doing okay. She loves charter eight.
Five hours before charter. Ashton has a deckhand meeting. In his interview, he says heās had issues with Rhylee, but heās stuck with her. Heās going to treat her like a third deckhand. Just keep quiet, and take orders. The provisions come in. In his interview, Kevin says heās put a lot of hours into the charter season, and itās catching up. His back is giving him a hard time. Captain Lee tells the crew to be on the aft deck thirty minutes.
Walking to the boat with her crew, Alexis says, vacation starts now. Kate says she sounds like a dolphin, and a guest asks if anyone brought their airhorns. Captain Lee says, thereās always one d-bag. In her interview, Kate says, they look like theyāre from Orange County. Tanning beds and gym memberships. Sheās scared. The captain welcomes them to Thailand, and says they have a busy few days planned. So letās get to it, get underway, and off the dock. Kate does the tour. Alexis and Andrew kiss. In Kateās interview, she says, eww! She wonders if Alexis is proving to her ex or to her friends that sheās doing fine, but she can prove sheās doing fine without having a tongue down her throat.
The guests unpack. Courtney makes mojitos. Alexis jumps on Andrew. Anchor is dropped and locked in. Andrew dives of the side of the boat, and Captain Lee says it looks like that hurt. Ashton gets ready for the excursion, and gives Rhylee the sh*t work, like cleaning out the hot tub. In her interview, she says itās blatantly obvious that sheās not part of the team in their eyes. She feels defeated, and is questioning what and why sheās doing what sheās doing. Kate tells Simone and Courtney that theyāre handling dinner service. In Simoneās interview, she feels like sheās come a long way. Kate is still condescending though. She canāt stand the insult to her intelligence. Bye, Felicia. Rhylee eats in her bunk while the jerkface deckhands high-five each other.
Kate tells Kevin, itās going to be freaking Dublin. Kevin says heās just going to spice up the Irish thing. If he makes something green and puts Guinness in something, heāll be okay. Brian texts Courtney that they havenāt spoken about the end of the season, and asks what her thoughts are. She asks what his are, and he says theyāre just having fun, right? In her interview, she says, itās insensitive to have an important conversation through text. Heās being a d*ck. Itās not that hard. Courtney tells Kate about it, and says, itās awkward. In Courtneyās interview, she says, nobody wants to hear that a person they like is just having fun. It sounds like itās not that important. Kate says sheās surprised. In Kateās interview, she says she feels bad. It must be Courtneyās first boatmance. Now sheās spinning out about Brian. An excursion is perfect. Courtney can get off the boat, clear her mind, and take her misery elsewhere. The captain asks who Ashton is taking, and Ashton says, Tanner. Simone wanders around with a drink, looking for the guest it belongs with.
The guests get in the tender, and they cruise around the island. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Ashton says, itās called Pilah Bay, but thatās as much as he can tell them. Clearly, he didnāt do his research. Alexis and Andrew go for maximum PDA. In Courtneyās interview, she says, are you kidding? Itās the last thing she wants to see, especially now. Kate asks if Rhylee was reading a magazine in the bathroom, and Rhylee says she was eating dinner in there. In Kateās interview, she says sheās never seen this side of Rhylee before. Sheās a strong woman whoās been beaten down by an ex-Chippendale.
Kevin tells Brian that Courtney is going around saying sh*t about him messaging her. In Brianās interview, he says heās pissed off. Sheās speaking about their personal relationship, and heās respected her. Heās seeing a different side of her, and itās not a good side. Brian thanks Kevin for the heads up, and the guests return.
Kevin puts on a sparkly green top hat, and sings and dances. He says heās back. Kevin is kind of an idiot, but Iāve also enjoyed him this season. Ben will always be the best though. The guests come back, and Brian says he wants to talk to Courtney. She says, maybe. He says, after dinner? and she says, maybe. In her interview, Courtney says she doesnāt want to have this conversation at work. Heās already upset her at work. Brian tells Ashton that Courtney has issues. He tries to cover his ass by saying he wanted to have a conversation with her, but thought heād text first before they spoke. Sheās acting like he broke up with her on messenger, but he just wanted to see if they were on the same page. Courtney says heāll probably make her cry, and sheāll have puffy eyes. Brian says sheās talking sh*t behind his back. What gives her the right? Itās hard to believe three of the most insensitive, clueless d-bags ever ended up on the same boat.
Tanner asks if Kate wants to go for a smoke, and they go out on deck. He asks what she thinks about hooking up. In her interview, she says, donāt tell her about it, just do it. She says she believes heās over-thinking it. If it happens, it happens, but he should probably wait a day or two. Itās awkward right now. Brian texts Courtney that she shouldnāt have brought up their conversation to Kate; itās going to be all over the boat. He texts that she took him the wrong way. Courtney tells Kate that Brian is still texting her. Kevin makes shortbread with chocolate pudding and double cream for dessert, and I want some so badly. Captain Lee is annoyed to find no toilet paper in whatever bathroom heās using. The guests go to bed, Simone asks Kevin if heās okay, and Courtney cries in her cabin. In her interview, she says she thought Brian genuinely liked her, and sheās taken comfort in him through the majority of the season. Now she questions the legitimacy of how much he likes her. She canāt handle that emotionally.
The sun rises. Kevin makes meatballs and breakfast. Kevin takes the breakfast orders, and Rhylee asks if the guests are ready to see more of Thailand, and tells them to enjoy their breakfast. Rhylee tells Ashton that the guests like her. Ashton says they only have her in small doses. In the galley, Kevin falls to the floor. Simone asks him why heās down there, and he tells her to get him some painkillers. He canāt straighten his back. Ugh. I know what thatās like, and itās horrible. A dude weāve never seen helps him up, and says heāll get an ice pack. In Kevinās interview, he says itās the worst pain heās ever had. He doesnāt know how heās going to get through the charter. Simone gets his meds, and gives them to him.
Rhylee goes to her cabin. In her interview, she says itās the hardest work scenario sheās ever had. Sheās still trying to learn yachting industry. Throwing in a bunch of drama with a meathead who canāt control his temper, and boys following suit because itās bro code; itās hard. Courtney tells Kate that Kevin canāt move. Ashton tells Tanner to pull anchor. Brian sighs in his cabin. He asks if Courtney wants to talk, and says she took what he said the wrong way. She says he texted that he was just having fun, and she thought he liked her. He says he does. Why canāt they sort this thing out? He doesnāt want whatever they have to end this way. He says heās never talked to anyone else about it, and she doesnāt know what heās upset about. He says he doesnāt want other people to know his business, and sheās telling them. Sheās sorry he feels that way, but itās distracting while sheās working. He gets indignant, saying, sheās sorry he feels that way? and she says sheās sorry she didnāt realize it was that private, and itās a big deal. He says he didnāt want to hurt her, and asks for a kiss, but she says she doesnāt know. Ashton radios for Brian, and he and Courtney agree to speak later.
In his interview, Captain Lee says all they need is for their chef to be down. Every other area, he can fix himself, but heās just an old line cook. If the chef canāt cook, the guests donāt eat. Theyāre in the middle of nowhere, and he doesnāt think he can get someone to bail them out.
Next time, Tanner asks Kate when the next invite to her room is, Rhylee calls Ashton a misogynist pig, and Captain Lee says theyāre all acting like a-holes and heās madder than a pissed on chicken.
š® Oh Pleaseā¦
I didnāt mention her discretion much in my Friday night diatribe, but this is rich. Five minutes ago, she was throwing down chairs and demanding LeeAnne stand trial. I guess she can dish it out, but she canāt take it.
The cast doesnāt seem much different from last season. I wonder if Vicki, who swore up and down she was done with friend status, will accept a new contract. Could she really stand not getting married on TV?
TBH, I never even thought about it. And now Iām thinking about how much I miss Z Nation. He and Doc were my favorite characters too. Now Iām sad and pissed all over again.
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
General Hospital
We get another rare glimpse of the outside of the hospital. Elizabeth is straightening up an examining room, and stops to look at her phone. She frowns, and makes a call. She leaves a message for Laura, saying, she noticed Laura has called, but sheās not leaving messages. She hopes everything is okay, and asks Laura to give her a call. She hears someone say her name, and she says sheāll be right with them. She turns around to see Nikolas.
Jason goes to Jordanās office. She asks if a truck from Corinthos Coffee is missing. They found one abandoned and torched. Does he happen to know if they made themselves an enemy?
Lucy shows Maxie a portfolio, and says, itās just a sample to get the conversation started. She thinks Deception is going to be absolutely fabulous once itās up and running. Advertisers are going to be lining up beside them. Maxie says, itās impressive, but thatās just her opinion. Lucy has to run it by Nina. Nina says, run what by her? and Maxie says, Deceptionās pitch to be a Crimsonās partner. Lucy tells Nina, picture it; Crimson and Deception, the perfect marriage. Not that anyone needs marriage to be perfect. Theyāre strong, independent women, and perfect unto themselves. Nina says sheād like to see a proposal. They go to Ninaās desk, and Lucy hands her a mock-up of a Crimson cover featuring Sasha.
Brad asks who took his lab results; he needs them back now. Willow comes by, and asks if this is what heās looking for, handing him some paperwork. He asks where she found them, and she says, where he left them. In the breakroom near the coffee maker. She tells him, Lucas being at Turning Woods, and returning to work is a lot for anyone, and he has Wiley on top of it. Brad says he can handle it. He doesnāt care what anyone thinks.
At Charlieās, Sonny says Carly saw Julian and Brad at the pier. He knows what they talked about after Carly walked away. Julian asks what they were allegedly talking about, and Sonny says, him, his wife, his son, and Wiley.
Elizabeth says Nikolas hasnāt changed, and he says sheās as beautiful as ever. She says heās supposed to be dead, and he says, it was a very close call. She says, itās been three years; where has he been? Does his mom know? Laura has been calling, probably trying to warn and prepare her. However she wants to look at it, heās back. Itās not a dream. She touches him, and says, itās him. She promises not to faint, but Nikolas says he might. They hug.
Jordan tells Jason, the truck was found by the side of the road. There was no cargo or driver; just the burnt frame. Were they aware the truck was missing? Jason says they knew the shipment never arrived, and she asks if they were concerned. He says they were, and thanks her for locating it. She asks if he has any idea where the driver could be, and he says the employees were canvased, and everyone is safe and accounted for. She asks him to have a seat, and says what if she requested the manifest and interviewed the driver? He says he doesnāt know how much the driver could tell her. She says, so the driver pulled over to stretch or get some fresh air, an unknown party stole the truck and drove off, and they never saw anything?
Nina looks at the mock-up cover, and says she thought Sasha turned down Lucyās offer to model. Lucy says she has an extreme knack for persuasion. Sheās prepared to offer Nina 5% of the equity, priority placement, and integration. Like Maxie said,itās a win-win. Maxie says itās a high end brand, but Nina says, no. Lucy says theyāre already a high placement brand, and itās a golden opportunity to get in on the ground floor. Nina thanks her, and says sheāll definitely consider it, as long as Lucy finds another model to represent the brand. Lucy says, thatās not an option. Sasha isnāt just a brand ambassador; sheās an equity partner.
Sasha wonders if Michael is looking for a degree in psychology and nutrition, as well as training in CPR, mountain climbing, and gourmet cooking skills. He says he forgot to add that. He asks if heās being too protective and involved, and she says, maybe, but in the sweetest, sexiest way. He says he knows what heād like to do. Pull back from ELQ, let Ned pick up the slack, and block extra time to spend with Wiley. Sasha asks, whatās stopping him?
Sonny ask if Julian hasnāt learned by now to stay away from his family. Does he have to keep reminding Julian? Julian says Wiley is his family as well. He comes up in conversation. Sonny says Julian warned Brad to be careful around Carly so he wouldnāt get wind of something about Michael, because Sonny protects his son. He tells Julian, if heās got something brewing, think twice. He knows Sonny always protects whatās his. Julian says he hears Sonny, and when it comes to his family, he feels the same way.
Jason says Jordan will have to call Diane for the manifest. Jordan says Diane will ask for a warrant and probable cause. Itās sketchy, but without witnesses, all they have is a missing truck that was found. Itās already annoying enough. She asks if itās possible the driver went rogue, and someone else got the delivery. Jason says all the employees are vetted, and have years of experience. Jordan wonders if itās a calling card from Sonnyās rival. If thereās a turf war brewing, she needs to know.
Lucy tells Nina, itās business, not personal. Deception would be good for Crimson, and vicey versey. Nina wishes her luck. Sheās sure Lucy will find another publication to promote Deception, but she passes. Sheās sorry, and wishes Lucy the best of luck. Lucy thanks her for her time, and leaves. Maxie sits down, and says she wishes Nina would reconsider. Nina asks why she should invite Sasha back into her life, and Maxie says, Lucyās partnership proposal has merit. They can find a work-around. Sheāll do everything, and Nina can just sit back and rake in the revenue. How does that sound? Listening outside the door, Lucy smiles.
Sasha tells Michael, itās possible to do both, especially when you have enough money. Heās been a daily presence in Wileyās life, and he can add a few extra hours. Michael says he can set it up coordinating with Bradās schedule. When Brad goes to work, he can spend the mornings with Wiley, and drop him off at the hospital daycare or at his grandmotherās with the nanny. Later, he can pick Wiley up, and get him to Brad for dinner. Sasha says heās already got a strategy, and he says, thanks to her. It will cut into his free time with her, but she says, itās a worthy cause, and she happens to like Wiley. They kiss. Sashaās phone rings, and she says, itās Lucy. He tells her, the first rule of business is, always answer your partnerās call. Lucy says, sheāll make it quick. Nina said no. Sasha says she tried to warn her, but Lucy thinks maybe thereās a little crack. She needs to kick the door open. She tells Sasha, get there pronto, and Sasha says sheāll be right there. Michael asks where sheās going, and Sasha says, to kick open some doors.
Willow brings Brad some coffee, saying she thought he could use it. He says, yeah. His nerves are just jangled. Everyone is doubting him all of a sudden, and Lucasās whole family is against him. Willow says, that canāt be true, and he says Bobbie has called fifty times, Carly thinks heās overwhelmed, and Julian agrees. Michael wants to hire a nanny. She says thatās not a bad idea.
Julian says he has no beef with Michael, Carly or Sonny. He thought they turned a corner the night Sonny offered to let him visit Wiley. Heād like to keep that going. Sonny ask why he warned Brad about Carly, and Julian ask if Sonny has seen Brad lately. Heās in completely over his head, raising Wiley alone, and Julian doesnāt want people to see him fall apart. He might be nervous, but Julian thinks Brad will be fine. He was just helping. Sonny says maybe Julian was helping himself. Lucas wants nothing to do with him, and with Lucas out of the picture, Julian has a chance to swoop in and get close to his son. This actually sounds stupid, since Julian just brought up Sonny offering to let him see Wiley.
Julian says he and Lucas have had their differences, but it doesnāt matter now. All he cares about is his son waking up. Until he does, Julian has to do right by Wiley. Sonny has his family, Carly is busy, and Michael has his girlfriend and work, but Julian has free time to devote to his grandson. Sonny asks how he thinks Lucas will feel if he wakes up and finds out that Julian took advantage of his accident. Julian says Sonny doesnāt speak for his son, but Sonny says heās speaking for himself. Julian asks how Sonny knows about the conversation anyway. Carly left, and he and Brad stayed there. Heās curious who Sonnyās associate was following; him or Sonnyās wife? Sonny suggests Julian take the same advice he gave Brad; steer clear of his wife, and anything Corinthos related. He leaves.
Michael tells Brad, Wiley has a strong support system. The Quartermaines and Corinthoses; two houses with nurseries and full-time nannies, with room in both. When Brad is working, Michael can put him down at night. Willow asks if Michael will really be able to pull back at ELQ, and Michael says he has someone to step up. He wants to do this, and gives Brad his word that he can carve out the time. Brad says, absolutely not.
Maxie tells Nina to take the personal part out of it. Itās possible to have a business relationship with someone you dislike. Lucy pops back in, and says, Maxie is right. Nina says she thought Lucy left. Lucy says, think classic. Keith Richards and Mick Jagger; Simon and Garfunkel; Abbot and Costello. Maxie says, who? and Nina and Lucy both say, ās on first. Nina says itās better if she doesnāt force a relationship. Itās her prerogative. She made a mistake, and sheās not doing it again. Sheās going to focus on moving forward. Sasha walks in, and says what Nina calls moving forward, she calls just plain stupid.
Elizabeth asks where Nikolas has been, and he says, Europe mostly. He was rescued by a yacht crew sailing past the island. He pursued some leads, and started to reclaim whatās his. Last night, he was able to do it. Nina walked out on Valentin; the wedding didnāt happen. Elizabeth says Nina gave her the impression that she was going to stick by Valentin no matter what. He says, apparently, she reached a breaking point, but there was still a wedding ā his.
Jordan says she thought she and Jason had come to a place where they understood each other. Maybe heās reconsidered in the light of Samās conviction, but it was a Federal prosecution, and removed from her jurisdiction. Jason says whenĀ theyāre done with the truck, Sonny will have a towing company haul it away. Sheās sure the taxpayers will be happy, and says, thereās one more thing. The truck was abandoned in a no parking zone. She hands him a ticket, as Curtis walks in. Curtis asks if everything is okay, and Jordan says, Jason was just leaving. When Jason is gone, Curtis asks what that was about. She says, it was about her wasting her breath. Jason could give a master class in stonewalling. Heās every defense attorneyās dream come true. Heās never nervous, and never discloses anything. And heās had plenty of practice since heās been arrested so many times. She says, now that sheās vented, why is he there? He asks if itās not a good time, but she says, itās fine. He says he did a follow-up on her friend Bobās death. He knows how busy she is, and he has a connection in DC. He wanted to learn a little more, and get her closure. Jordan knows he meant well, but hopes he didnāt intrude on the familyās grief. He says he was careful not to, and she asks what he found. Cancer? A heart attack? He says, no. A drug overdose.
Elizabeth says, Ava? and Nikolas says he sees her Ava, and raises her a Franco. She says, Franco has completely changed. She canāt say the same for Ava. He says he canāt either, but each of them brings something the other canāt live without. Elizabeth is pretty sure itās not love. How did he get with Ava? He says, thatās the hard part. Heās been in Port Charles since September. She says, four months, and he never thought to contact anyone who loves him?
Sasha says she admires Ninaās business savvy; her creativity, and ability to think outside the box and take risks. She saw how stubborn Nina can be; determined and pragmatic to a fault. Nina says sheās wasting her time, but Sasha says sheās not finished. The partnership has nothing to do with their history; itās whatās best for their businesses. Deceptionās target audience is the youth and wellness market, a major opportunity that Crimson can be a part of. If Nina is the savvy businesswomen Sasha thinks she is, sheāll jump at it. If she doesnāt, she can watch from the sidelines while they become a major success without her.
Brad says he canāt let Michael compromise being CEO of ELQ to babysit. Michael says heās choosing to give up his time to help Lucas. Brad says Lucas wouldnāt want him to do it. Heās proud of Michael, and admires his position on the ELQ and hospital boards. Michael says, Lucas would want Wiley to have all the support he needs. No one can do it all, and Brad shouldnāt try to be a superhero. Take the help. Brad says he didnāt think about it until now, but he knows the perfect person take care of Wiley. Wiley already knows them, and there should be no problem with them stepping in. Willow always said sheād do anything to help. Now heās asking for help with his son. Julian stands behind Brad, listening.
Jordan says, an OD? Did she hear wrong? Curtis knows itās a shock, but Bob died from an OD. She asks if something went wrong. He got the wrong prescription, or a bad interaction with medications? Curtis says, it was opioids; a straight-up OD. She says, Bob wasnāt even much of a drinker. She never saw him have more than a beer, and never saw him using. Curtis knows itās hard to hear, but as someone who has more experience than most, he can tell her, once you become an addict, you become an expert in hiding it.
Sonny asks Jason, whatās the damage? Jason says they lost a truck and a shipment of beans. Diane is handling the driverās severance pay, and his relocation to Tennessee. Sonny asks if the driver was injured, and Jason says, just shook up. He followed company policy, and took off. Sonny says to tell Diane to be generous with the severance pay. He asks if the truck was impounded, and Jason says, whatās left of it. They also got a parking ticket, since it was left in a no parking zone. Sonny laughs, and says, make sure it gets paid. He wants the Commissioner to see theyāre good citizens. Jason wonders who would target a coffee truck, and Sonny says, someone whoĀ has no idea how he does business.
Sonny says, maybe someone thinks theyāre using the coffee warehouse as a front. They didnāt do their research. Jason suggests maybe they tried to send a message. Port Charles is a valuable asset. Itās close to the border, and near international waters. Sonny limits what moves, and some people want him to share. Sonny says, sharing is overrated.
Curtis tells Jordan, the cause of death was an OD; it was on the police report. She says forensics would look at the chain of evidence, tracing where it came from, and who sold it. He says he called his friend on the force in DC and got a copy of the report. Thereās not a lot there. On the outside, it looks squeaky clean, all legit. Everyone who knew him had the same reaction that she did; he wasnāt that type of guy, and basic disbelief. Jordan asks if she can talk to his friend, but he says the friend has already stuck his neck out. He doesnāt want to put them on the spot, or lose them as a contact. She appreciates that, and says, itās such a shock. Curtis asks if thereās anything else he can do, and she says, maybe later. He says, sure, and leaves, but Jordan is obviously distressed.
Lucy thanks Nina again for her time. Maxie looks at package Lucy brought, and says, itās generic. Lucy needs to underline the brand, to prepare for when sheās ready to reveal what they are. Her proposal is too conservative. Crimson needs at least 15%; Maxie will adjust it accordingly. Lucy is going to have to step up her opening foray if she wants involvement increased. Nina tells Lucy, leave her proposal, and sheāll consider it.
Brad says, itās a perfect solution. He and Willow both work at the hospital, and sheās great with Wiley. Michael says she has a full schedule at the hospital, and doesnāt have the luxury of delegating. Butting into the conversation, Julian agrees itās unfair, and Brad shouldnāt put Willow in an awkward position. He knows Brad is under stress. Brad says, donāt remind him. Willow agreed that she wanted to help Wiley. Willow says maybe she could adjust her schedule, but Julian thinks itās asking too much. End of discussion. Oh, okay. Everyone will listen to the guy who just arrived to the party, who no one wanted there in the first place. Brad says Lucas wanted Willow to be a part of Wileyās life, and he thought Willow wanted to spend more time with Wiley. Michael says they have plenty of options, and not to put Willow in an uncomfortable position. Brad says, who better to give Wiley the care he needs until they get Lucas back, which he prays is soon. Willow says, of course (š·). How could she say no? Ugh. Julian needs to ditch that turtleneck look heās been sporting lately.
Elizabeth asks if Nikolas wasnāt tempted to tell anyone he was alive. Nikolas says he canāt begin to tell her how hard it was. His mom came by Jaxās place while he was there. Everything inside him wanted to embrace her, but he couldnāt. He had to bide his time, and put his plan in place, or it would have undone everything. Elizabeth gets it intellectually, but emotionally, he has so many people who love him who were devastated. Hayden has a little girl, Violet; sheās the cutest. Hayden left Violet in Port Charles while sheās away, but wait until she finds out heās back. Valentin is no longer a threat, so Hayden can come back be and be with her. He promises to do all he can to bring Hayden home. Elizabeth says, if anyone can do it, he can. She doesnāt know whether to slap or hug him, and he says heāll take the hug. Heās already had smacks. They hug.
Maxie tells Lucy and Sasha theyāll be in touch. Sheāll go over the proposal in depth. Lucy says, fingers crossed, even though she doesnāt need it. She has a kick-ass partner who was spectacular. And she canāt believe Maxie was so convincing without making her boss look bad. She hopes Nina knows what she has in Maxie. Come to think of it, if Maxie ever wants to talk about some work, hereās her number. Lucy gives Maxie her card, and Maxie says she already has it. Lucy says thatās Lucy as a realtor; this is Lucy as a potential partner. Think about it. They leave, and Maxie looks at the card. I think Deception should launch their own magazine.
Nina looks at the mock-up cover. She opens a jewelry box containing the half-heart pendant, and takes it out.
Brad thanks Willow, and says heās so grateful. Julian grabs Bradās arm, says, excuse them, and steers Brad away. He asks if Brad has lost his damn mind. Sonny already knows somethingās up.
Michael asks if Willow is sure sheās okay with this. Brad isnāt sensitive on a good day. She knows itās challenging, and will have to protect her heart, but Brad is in a jam and she can help out. Michael says, so can he, but she says, for whatever reason, Brad isnāt comfortable with him. Heās intimidated by Michael. Michael is the kind of person everyone loves, and Brad probably feels Michael will overshadow him. He says, Wiley is more important than Bradās ego, and she says sheāll do her best not to intimidate anyone. Heās not sure about that. He thinks Wiley likes her more than him, and heās jealous. She says she canāt help it if Wiley has great taste. Dreams come true. Sheās going to spend time with Wiley, and savor every moment. And when itās over, she wonāt look back.
Brad tells Julian, if he had walked in five minutes later, Michael would have been taking care of Wiley, and when he was busy running ELQ, the Quartermaines and Sonny would come around. Julian is second guessing him, and he knows what heās doing. Julian says, heās right, and Julian is going to see that he gets all the help he needs.
Jordan looks at her computer, and makes a call. She says she needs them to do her a favor. Drop whatever theyāre doing, and get to Port Charles as soon as possible.
Jason says, if they get an overture, how does Sonny want to respond? Sonny says, same deal. They can move through Port Charles; no drugs, no guns, and they have to pay double for torching his coffee truck. It was rude. (I literally LOL.) Jason says, what if thereās no offer? Doesnāt Sonny want to figure out who it is? Sonny says if so, they made a mistake, and heāll make them regret it.
On Monday, Brook has a big announcement, Tracy asks Michael whatās more important than ELQ, Spinelli asks if Maxie is leaving Crimson, and Franco says he owes Jason his life.
š Meanwhile, In Hotlantaā¦
Thereās always someone who almost spoils the surprise.
I saw the Watch What Happens Live when Danielle quit, but she chose her words carefully. She was very specific saying sheād never be on The Real Housewives of New Jersey again. My guess is, sheās moving.
While I throw in an opinion here and there, itās rare for me to write something based solely on my view of a show, but I feel strongly about this one.
Iām not sure what it is. Whether itās because the Housewives are thirsty for screen time, or theyāre just getting meaner, but I was disturbed by Wednesday nightās Real Housewives of Dallas Reunion: Part Two. My being troubled by the Real Housewives in general is nothing new. Beverly Hills certainly left a bad taste in my mouth last season, and the screeching in the OC is working my last nerve. Regardless of the branch of the franchise, what bothers me most is when several, or all, of the Wives gang up against one. Wednesday nightās Reunion, bothered me so much, I had a nightmare that Iām sure it was the source of.
I rarely have nightmares, and when I do, theyāre not the conventional kind. This isnāt to say I donāt dream about zombies taking over, or other dangerous situations, but those are more like full-color action films, with Marc Singer often fighting alongside me. My real nightmares are more Dean Koontz than Stephen King, and involve genuine fears, and I usually wake up crying. This time, I roamed a large place that was a mix of a hospital and library. I was in emotional anguish, and no one would even look in my direction. I walked through crowds of people, and tried talking to some, but they were dismissive. On a humorous note, Perry Shen (Brad, General Hospital) and Jane Lynch were there. I often cast random actors in my dreams. Anyway, I woke up crying, and I knew Dallas was at the root of it.
In what could have ended with a teachable moment,Ā the whole show was nothing but an attack on LeeAnne from start to finish. Including her wedding vows. WTF? In talking about being human, Kameron was the only one who acted like a human. I donāt think any of them, including Kary, cared nearly as much about the racism issue, as they did about pummeling LeeAnne and feeling self-righteous. Racism is a huge hot button issue, and there is no one, except a racist, who would feel it was okay. They had no concern that most of the world wouldnāt have their back in rising up against LeeAnne. It was a safe bet, and kept reminding me of what Bernadette (Terrence Stamp) said in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: You know, my girlfriend used to be a boyfriend. Itās always good for a supper invite. It was less about the issue than it was about them using it for something, with the exception of Kameron. It was like teaching a kid not to hit by hitting them. Although I donāt think they were interested in teaching anybody anything. It was an opportunity to be mean, and they used the issue. It didnāt even begin there.
From the beginning, they were gunning for LeeAnne, as well as putting a halo on Kary. They harped on LeeAnneās wedding ā everything from the food, which looked adequate to me, to the vows she had written herself at the last minute. Even her waiting so long to write them was suspect. Rich must be a saint, not because he puts up with LeeAnne, but he also puts up with this sh*t. Yes, the woman has some deep-seated problems, which will probably take a lifetime to overcome, but this was an important day ā her first marriage, at age 50, no less ā why drag it all over the place? It just went on and on and on. And to her credit, LeeAnne took it. Ever the diplomat, Kameron pointed out that it was LeeAnneās day, so wtf? LeeAnne was right in saying, that no matter what she said, it was never going to be good enough for Kary. This is a bunch of mean girls, except for Kameron, who gets called out for being more concerned with whatās right, rather than whoās right. As much as weād like them to be, things arenāt always black and white, and thereās the human factor.
I have a desire to take care of tiny things, protect the underdog, and things that are alone or small in the world. LeeAnne looked that way Wednesday night. Sheās done stupid things from the jump, and lashed out because she hurts, but they finally found something they could grab onto that was acceptable and other people would care about. Except there is a difference between evil and stupid. Between sincerely hating a race, and saying dumb sh*t. Instead of helping LeeAnne be a better person, Brandi threw down a folding chair, where she thought LeeAnne should sit facing her jury. After that, the women became the bullies. A questionable video of Brandiās surfaced recently, which is also insensitive, but not racist, yet she thinks LeeAnne is alone in being stupid.
Thereās proof positive it doesnāt have to be like this. Three of my favorites in the Bravoverse are Below Deck, Southern Charm, and Shahs of Sunset. Oh, they fight, and they can land low blows, and do the occasional hair pulling, but thereās a difference. Somehow, theyāre more like family. When Golnessa lashes out, we know itās because sheās in pain, and so does her crew. While they might even freeze her out for a moment, at the end of the day, theyāre there to support and love her. There might often be an undercurrent of snark on Deck, and Kate does get away with more than the others, but sheās put in her time. Captain Lee is like a really good parent, who knows how to use discipline, but fiercely protects and loves his children. Heās also indulgent with his favorite daughter. Shep is an elitist a-hole much of the time, yet if there was an emergency, heād be the first one there. To watch Kathryn grow from a rebellious child to a responsible mother has been nothing less than amazing, and to have Patricia admit she was wrong about Kathryn ā albeit because she listened to Thomas ā was a true miracle. Maybe a Wife would throw a bag of old Vuittons in your direction, but theyāll tell everyone about how self-centered you were, yapping on about your house burning down, or your horrifying childhood.
With the first episode of the OC, I said it was the future of television. There had been reality TV before, starting with An American Family, a series filmed for PBS. It was rerun one year in the 90s, and I caught it. It was fascinating. Just cameras following a family. And The Real World started off strong. Giving us people with real jobs and interests, and Pedro Zamora who eventually passed away from AIDS. Somewhere along the line, it degenerated into mostly a lot of drunken hot tub sex, and I drifted away. Iām not a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasnāt what I signed up for. My guess is that alcohol played a big part. As is my guess about a lot the Wives problems. Just the other day, my husband was just walking past when one of them (ha-ha ā I canāt remember which one) was on, and he said, they drink too much. And he doesnāt even pay attention. He could probably pick NeNe or Teresa out of a line-up ā LVP for sure ā but he doesnāt watch them. Alcohol isnāt the only problem, but it exacerbates whatever else is going on. But the Wives were different, and paved the way for all the others. Until Andy Cohen became King of the World. Or at least reality TV.
There are kinder, gentler shows on other networks, TLC being a mainstay. Born This Way was one of the sweetest shows Iāve ever seen, watching young people with Downs Syndrome begin to navigate the world on their own. More recently, Welcome to Plathville introduced us to the Plath family, who live off the grid, but some of the kids were looking to branch out. In a variety of series about the Amish, Mary Schmucker became my favorite reality star of all time. A woman we would all love to be our grandma, baking cookies and dispensing wisdom, but also down for kicking back and doing shots at an NYC bar. Thatās my kind of Amish.
It was enjoyable to watch the Wives at first. There was some table-flipping and leg-tossing, but it seemed like all harmless fun. Sometimes it still is, but more and more, itās screeching and finger-pointing, and not owning up to their own sh*t before casting stones. Mob mentality has taken over. This isnāt to say there arenāt exceptions, like Kameron and Camille, but theyāre accused of being wishy-washy because, even if they didnāt like a behavior, they still cared about the person. NYC as a whole seems to be fair, except for Ramona, whoās only out for herself, but I could be biased. Back to LeeAnne.
What she said was wrong, but it really wasnāt any worse than things sheād said in previous seasons. The others just finally found something they could publicly call her out on, and knew theyād be backed by the world. I doubt they cared much about racism before LeeAnne called Kary a chirpy Mexican (Iād actually thought chirpy was a really odd choice of word, and figured she wasnāt thinking). And Kary laughed about it with the others at the time. Again, Kameron came out ahead here. Not on that particular issue, but she made it her business to research what LeeAnne had said about sex workers in Thailand. In other words, she cared about those things called facts.
Fact: LeeAnne definitely made excuses for not reaching out to Kary, some of which were lies, or at best finagling of the truth. Like when she said they werenāt supposed to talk to each other before the Reunion. That was true, but there were several months prior to that when they could have talked. I do think she was telling the truth when she said things like that were hard for her, especially since she believed sheād be met with hatred. Also possibly true. Kary was receptive to zero of what LeeAnne had to say, no matter what the topic was.
Fact: LeeAnne said she latched on to a word Kary herself had been using a lot, and had she used a different word repeatedly, LeeAnne would have used that. I believe this is true. Even I was getting tired of Kary saying it. I was like, all right already, I get it. Youāre from Mexico and itās cool. We all have things weāre proud of, and probably talk too much about. LeeAnne made a piss poor choice, but I donāt think it was with a racist attitude. It was with an Iām-sick-of-Kary attitude. Whether LeeAnne thought it would air or not, who knows? But itās hard to believe anyone would think that, considering what has been aired in other seasons, and how easily information gets out today. I also find it difficult to believe the others would have been intimidated by this thought.
Fact: LeeAnne was truly sorry. Weāve yet to see if she backs up her words with actions ā i.e. stops saying stupid sh*t when sheās angry ā but she was sorry. That these women continued to berate her while she sat there crying and taking it, was depressing. If the goal is to change the world, and bring light to the darkness, how does drumming someone into the ground accomplish that goal? Someone who is suicidal, no less. Itās hard for someone to change their ways when you keep kicking them.
Unfortunately, this seems to be the way of the world now. Itās less about teaching whatās right than being right.
