He asks if thereās no way out, and she says her dad is going to intervene; theyāll see. He hopes it happens, and she asks how he can wish her good after she ditched him. He says sheās a musician. Singing is part of her DNA. He stopped writing, but just because itās not right for him doesnāt mean itās not good for her. When he watched her sing, he realized it was just a hobby for him. He says she should be used to it after Pentenville, and Ned says, the groundskeepers are just doing their job. Nelle says she wants proper living arrangements, and Michael says sheās right. The boathouse isnāt suitable. Heāll send for her bags ā and place them at the side of the road. She says sheāll go stay with Brad; itās cozy, hanging out there with him and Wiley. Lulu says, sheās right. Laura is always right. Laura says, not always, and Lulu says she has to get Nikolas. Heās been hanging around, waiting to visit. Laura wonders whatās stopping him, and Lulu says she told him that Laura could just have one visitor at the time. Laura says, she lied? and Lulu says, of course (š·). Nikolas asks how Laura is feeling, and she says sheās always up for a visit from her kids. He says, itās nice to know someone in the family is speaking to him. She says, his sister just did, but he says she texted him, and then left without looking at him. She says he has to be patient with Lulu. Her daughter almost died trying to prove her secret bodyguard existed. He says he never saw that coming, but she says he never really thought about Charlotte. He only thought about one thing ā revenge; the rest of them didnāt matter. He asks how she can say that, and she says sheās his mother. She canāt love him and indulge his fantasies at the same time. The obsessive need for revenge is a Cassadine trait. If heās not careful, heāll end up being as hateful and bitter as the Cassadines who came before him. He tells her Spencer said something like that before cutting him out of his life.
Brad says heāll check with Michael about Wiley, and steps out of the room. Julianās phone rings, and he says, itās work; he has to take it. He sees Brad in the hallway, and asks, what the hell is going on? Brad asks if he doesnāt see itās over. Lucas doesnāt remember the truth about Wiley. Julian says, not now, but that doesnāt mean he wonāt. Brad tells him, the doctors said itās highly unlikely. Julian says, Brad sees a man who doesnāt remember; he sees a ticking time bomb. He never thought his retuning would be more painful than him staying away.
Lulu thanks Dustin for waiting at Kellyās. He says he thought they were meeting at the hospital, and she says they were. He gets it, and asks what theyāre talking about. She says, us.
Dustin asks if itās something heās done or hasnāt done, and Lulu says, since theyāve been seeing each other, there have been an unusual number of⦠Dustin says, incidents? Linc says, Brook is under contract, and Ned says, itās a sweet deal for Linc. He has her doing 99% of the work, while he takes 99% of the payout. Linc says heās making 100% of it happen. If not for him, she wouldnāt have a deal at all. Ned suggests he test that, and release her. Let her find out for herself. Linc says he canāt do that in good conscience. When Brookās feelings get hurt, she lashes out. Ned asks if thatās how he describes her reaction to his sexual assault. Linc says he didnāt assault her or anyone else. Heās an affectionate guy; ask anyone. Heās never had a problem with it being misconstrued; it was a friendly gesture. Brook is obviously having a hard time keeping quiet, and Ned tries to hold her back. Ned says, touching someone intimately without consent. It happens all the time these days, but as they say, timeās up. Do whatās best for everyone involved. Ned slides a check toward Linc, saying itās the projected revenue of Brookās next three albums, and the cost incurred. Heāll get all of the reward with doing none of the work. Linc says heās not interested. Brook can cut an album for him, or stay quiet. If she sings a single note, itās his.
Nikolas tells Laura, as soon as sheās well enough, heās moving her and Doc into Windymere. She says, absolutely not, but Nikolas says, one mob shooting is more than enough. He wants to make sure sheās protected. She says she has a security detail, but he says, itās not the same. She asks if heās discussed it with the lady of the manor, and he tells her, Ava has no say in what happens at Windymere. She asks if heād care to put that theory to the test. Itās hard to believe Ava handed over the codicil without laying claim to something. What is the arrangement costing him?
Ava tells Nina, a romance-free marriage is practical. She got what she wanted, Nikolas got what he wanted, and if they both follow the rules of the post-nup, everything will stay in place. Nina asks, what rules? and Ava says, like with any business arrangement, there are consequences if they donāt abide by the contract. Nina asks what she means, and Ava says, cheating. If one of them commits adultery, they forfeit what theyāve got. Nina says, no sex outside marriage is pretty standard. At least they have each other. Ava says, who said anything about sex inside the marriage?
Willow asks if Lucas is sure about this, and he says he thinks itās the best decision for everyone involved. And it will be a huge favor. Brad comes back in. He feels better to see Lucas happy, awake, and talking. Lucas says, itās going to be a while before heās 100%, and Brad will be taking care of him, Wiley, and working. Julian says there are a lot of people who love Lucas. Brad wonāt be alone, and they can help until Lucas is back on his feet. Lulu asks Dustin how a bottle of merlot, popcorn, and a mutually agreed upon movie sound? Theyāll be no more than three feet from her sofa. He says, no gangsters, or creeps, or kids jumping into open water? Lulu says they can always hang out at he docks and pick a fight with a longshoreman. Itās up to him. He kisses her, and says he thinks a movie at her place is the right kind of quiet.
Brook says she either sings for Linc or stays quiet? Quiet isnāt her thing. Sheāll go on record about the sexual harassment. Linc says he looks forward to winning the libel suit. The judge will order her to make even more albums for him. She says, next time he puts his hand on her ass, sheāll cut it off. Ha-ha! That reminds me of the time I told my boss, if he wanted to keep his hand, heād be taking it out of my back pocket. Brook walks away, and Ned says he comes from a family that has an army of lawyers. One phone call, and theyāll eat Linc alive in ways he canāt imagine. Then heāll sit back and watch with his daughter, or Linc can take the check. Choose wisely. Ned gets up, and tells Linc, itās a one-time offer, and goes to join Brook.
Nina tells Ava, let her get this straight. Thereās no sex outside the marriage, and no sex inside the marriage. Ava says she can hold out as long as Nikolas can. Nina doesnāt know about that. Ava and Nikolas are both attractive, healthy people with needs. Ava says, exactly. Nikolas is a passionate man, and this this game of chicken ends when he gives into his urges. One indiscretion, and she wins. Nina asks how long Ava thinks it will take, and Ava says she has the feeling it will be sooner rather than later. Much sooner.
Nikolas tells Laura, donāt worry; they have an agreement. Laura says, thatās what worries her. She canāt bear the thought of Nikolas spending his life trapped in a loveless marriage. He says, believe him. He has no intention of staying married to Ava for the rest of his life.
Nelle says, itās the same offer she tore up earlier, but Michael says there are added incentives. She says sheās not a CEO, but she knows a goldmine when itās in her hand, and this isnāt it. He says, no more games. What does she want? She says, apparently more than heās willing to give her. Sheāll find a buyer whoāll treat her with the respect she deserves. She walks out, and makes a call.
Martinās phone rings, and Nelle asks if he remembers the item they were talking about selling. Sheās ready to entertain offers. Does he know what sheās looking for? He says, a life changing number, and she asks if he can deliver. He believes so, and says heāll be in touch. He goes over to Linc, and says Linc was saying Brook would do anything, give anything, to get out of her contract? Heāll be in touch.
Valentinās phone rings, and Martin asks if he remembers the acquisition Valentin wanted him to expedite? Theyāre about to go shopping. Valentin says, wonderful. Heās looking forward to joining their family.

General Hospital
Taggert comes by Jordanās office, and says heās glad he caught her. Her phone rings, but she doesnāt answer. Curtis leaves a message for her to call him.
Anna brings Emma home, and asks if sheās happy to see snow. People say there are no season in California, but the seasons there are just gentler. They get real winter in Port Charles. She asks if Emma remembers the ice rink, and thinks they should go. They can rent skates. Emma asks if everything is okay. I have to add, Emma has grown into a gorgeous young woman now.
Finn tells Sam, he supposes a person can get desensitized. Theyāre used to risks to themselves, and donāt perceive how they can bring a risk to others. How do you get someone to listen who doesnāt want to? Sam supposes the person making the big mistake is Anna, and the mistake sheās making is about Peter.

Jason tells Michael, the shootout came from a drug trafficker with a long reach and a bad reputation; Cyrus Renault.

Doc asks Laura, who wore her out more; Lulu or Nikolas? She tells him, itās hard to say. Lulu is falling in love with Dustin, and isnāt sure what she wants to do. Nikolas is up to his neck in dysfunction with Ava, and doesnāt want to admit it. She didnāt have the heart to tell them that their mother had been shot, and was too tired to listen. Doc says, so she listened anyway. Jason walks in, and says he hopes heās not interrupting. Laura says, not at all, and invites him in. She asks what she can do for him, and he says heās just checking in to see how sheās doing. She says sheās fine, and Doc says she shouldnāt have been in that situation to begin with. Jason says, Sonny had no idea there was going to be an attack, and deeply regrets her involvement. Doc says, not as much as Laura does, and Laura asks if Sonny knows whoās responsible. Jason says, heās working to address the situation, and Laura says, tell Sonny that she appreciates his concern. As his friend, sheās happy he and his family werenāt hurt, but as mayor of the city, sheās not about to allow Port Charles to be ground zero for a mob war. Whatever Sonny is doing to address the situation better not include violence or retaliation. Jason says sheāll pass on his message. He leaves, and Doc says he guesses she told him.
Cyrus tells Sonny, his only problem is with the Feds. They sentenced him to life without parole for something he didnāt do. Sonny says the Feds must like him. Why was he transferred to Pentenville? Cyrus says, bureaucracy works in mysterious ways, and Sonny says, not for him. He keeps whatās his. Too bad Cyrus didnāt think about that before he tried something stupid.

Brad hugs her, and says he was so scared heād lost Lucas. Bobbie says, when he was in a coma, Lucas wasnāt sleeping. His body was actively fighting to get better, and heās exhausted. Heāll be in and out for the next few days. Brad says heās not leaving Lucasās side. Heās going to be there until he wakes up. Julian asks how long it will be, and Bobbie hopes not much longer. Sheās going to check with the neurologist on his tests. Carly says sheāll take Wiley, and give them time together. She looks at Julian, and coughs, then says, or not. Brad tells Lucas, wake up, and Julian asks what he thinks heās doing. They need to get their story straight. He told Lucas the truth before the accident. What is Brad going to say when Lucas brings it up?
Anna thanks Emma for taking the guest room. Violet saw Emmaās room, and it was love at first sight. Sheās generous. Emma says sheās so excited to meet Violet in real life, and Anna says sheās just like Emma was at that age. Sheās precocious, and loves to read, draw, do crafts, and play make believe. This morning, they were playing Avengers, and Violet was Captain Marvel. She was Nick Fury, and Peter was the bad guy. Anna tears up.
Finn tells Sam, heās just talking; donāt take what he says literally. Sam is aware they donāt know each other well, but assures him that she can be trusted. Heās not the only one who thinks Peter is bad news. Robert is on his side. Finn says, that would be a first, and Sam says she promises Robert is determined to put Peter away.
Emma asks Anna if everything is okay with Uncle Peter. Anna wonders why sheās asking, and Emma says Anna seems like sheās trying too hard to be happy. She seems sad underneath, and there are tears in her eyes when she talks about him. Anna says Emma is perceptive. She should know better than to try and fool her. Emma says she doesnāt need to; whatās wrong? Anna says, itās convoluted, with a complicated history that really should stay in the past, and not be dredged up. Emma asks if sheās talking about Peter, and Anna says she is. When Peter was younger, he didnāt always make the best decisions, but heās done everything possible to make amends, and turn himself into a better person and make better choices. Heād prefer his mistakes were left in the past, but some people wonāt let him. Emma asks, who?
Sam tells Finn, Robert offered to broker a deal. A new parole officer whoās less strict, so she can spend more time with Jason, providing they give him something big, something incriminating. Finn says, on Peter? and she says, yeah. She wants her family back together, and thinks they can help each other. If he has any damning information, he has to tell her. At least before Peter hurts Anna.
Sonny says he understands Cyrusās strategy ā go big or go home ā but this time, it was a very public attack on Sonny and his loved ones. There was an attack in Brooklyn, and two in Port Charles. If it had worked, Cyrus would have been able to take over, but guess what? It didnāt. Sonny is still standing and Cyrus is twisting in the wind.
On the phone, Laura asks someone to have Jordan call her back asap. Curtis comes in, and says heād offer to pull some strings to get her call through, but shouldnāt she be recovering? Doc says he made that point, and Curtis says, no luck? Doc says, not even a little. Laura says she has responsibilities, and asks what she can do for Curtis. He says he was about to ask her the same thing. She says she doesnāt know whoās behind the shooting that landed her there, but she intends to find out. Curtis says he knows she has her own security detail, but heās more than willing to provide backup. She says, as much as she appreciates it, itās not necessary. She has information that she wasnāt the intended target; she was collateral damage. Curtis asks how she can be sure, and Doc says, it was confirmed by an inside source. Laura says thatās why she needs to speak to Jordan. She saw Jordan and Marcus Taggert conferring the other day, and bets it has something to do with the latest flare up of mob violence.
Jordan says itās good to see Taggert, and he asks how sheās holding up. She says, if he stopped by to get Sonnyās statement, theyāre going off of what they received from the NYPD. He says heās not there to bring Sonny to justice, and she says, sorry, Captain Ahab. Has he abandoned his quest for the great white whale? Spill. Why is he there? He says he got information on their friend Bob.
Chase finds Willow outside of Kellyās, and she asks, howās work? He says, pointless and frantic. Everyone is rushing around, but thereās been no resolution. They know the target, but donāt know whoās responsible. So far, they have no leads. What about her? Heās not so stressed she canāt tell him about it. He asks if sheās heard from Brad, but she says, not since he told her that he doesnāt want her taking care of Wiley. Chase says Bradās husband is in a coma, and itās probably misdirected anger. Give him time to cool down, and heās sure Brad will reconsider making Willow Wileyās nanny. If thatās what she wants.
Brad asks Julian, whatās wrong with him? and closes the door. Julian says, his son woke up, and heās worried about something Brad said. Brad should be as well. He told Lucas that Wiley is Michaelās son. Thereās no way in hell Brad is bringing Julian down with him. Lucas says Bradās name, and Brad jets to Lucasās side. He says, youāre awake. Apparently, Julian isnāt so concerned that heās not willing to talk about this right in front of Lucas, asleep or no. What a jerk. I sometimes wonder if the actors ever tell the director, no; I refuse to even say this. Itās too stupid.
Curtis asks who Taggert is, and Laura says she thought he knew. Taggert was a detective at the PCPD a long time ago. He was actually in the trenches during the last mob war. Doc says Taggert left more than fifteen years ago, and Curtis says that explains why he doesnāt know him. Does Laura think the shooting brought him back? She says, possibly. She doesnāt know what other connection heād have to Port Charles. Maybe Jordan. Curtis says, what about her? and Laura says, they knew each other from work; she bumped into them at the PCPDĀ the other day. Curtis says heās headed there now. Heāll tell Jordan that Laura is trying to reach her. He suggests Laura try to pencil in recuperation between work. Doc says he hears that, but she says, no promises. Curtis leaves, and ponders a while in the hallway.
Jordan asks how Taggert got his hands on Bobās records. They had to have come from Bobās personal physician. Taggert tells her, donāt ask questions if she doesnāt want the answers. She looks through the folder, and says, just like Bob. He had two check-ups a year, and was a total hypochondriac. Thereās no shortage of bloodwork, but no traces of drugs on his last visit. It was less than a month before he died, so he got addicted in a couple of weeks? Itās a stretch. Taggert says, thereās definitely been foul play.
Cyrus looks at the guard, who makes himself scarce. He asks Sonny if he follows football. Sonny says he loves it, and Cyrus says, then Sonny will understand his perspective. A preemptive strike is like a hail Mary pass. If the team scores, the player is a hero. If the ball is intercepted, heās benched or fired. Sonny says, itās not a game, and Cyrus says, itās a negotiation.
Jason tells Michael that theyāre doing research on Cyrus; how he works and who he knows. All they know is heās in Pentenville for a Federal drug crime. Michael says he was running his operation from prison, and Jason says, thatās for Sonny to worry about. Michael says he wants to know what theyāre dealing with. His phone rings, and he says he has to take it; itās his grandmother. He listens, and says, wow. Thanks. He tells Jason, Lucas woke up from his coma.
Brad says he didnāt know if Lucas would come back to him, but he did. He loves Lucas so much. Lucas starts to sit up, but Brad tells him, take it easy; heās been through hell. Lucas asks if his mom is there, and Brad says sheās talking to the doctors. Lucas says, they were in an accident? and Brad says, they were driving on Thanksgiving when the brakes went out; they donāt know what happened. He asks if Lucas remembers anything about being in the car or the accident.
Sonny says, Cyrus wants to negotiate? Cyrus says Sonny gets 10% of everything he moves through Port Charles. He guarantees no merchandise will be sold in Sonnyās location; he can keep the market to himself. Sonny says heās not interested, but Cyrus says he should be. Every day Sonny refuses to allow Cyrusās produce to move, it costs him money. He doesnāt care about himself; heās rich enough. But if you donāt change with the times, the times will destroy you. So do they have a deal?
Willow tells Chase, sheād love to be nanny again, but she doesnāt want to get her hopes up. She was almost embarrassed at how important the job was to her. Chase says she has no reason to be embarrassed. She says, being a part of Wileyās life is a big deal, but seeing him every day, maybe it was too much. He says, how so? and she says, maybe she was so happy being close to Wiley, she blurred the lines she put up when she chose adoption. Her phone rings, and she says, itās Michael. She takes the call, and tells Chase, good news. Lucas woke up. Chase says, Wileyās got his dads back. Willow looks at him.
Lucas tells Brad, he doesnāt remember being in the car, and Brad asks, what does he remember? Lucas says, he came home from work. Elizabeth got Terry to cover for him, so he could see Brad; he wanted to hash things out between them. Thatās all he remembers. Brad says, thatās okay. None of it matters now. Lucas sees Julian, and says, dad? Julian says Lucas knows how to scare someone. He understands Lucas is still pissed at him about Halloween. There was no excuse. Brad says Julian has been his rock the whole time. He doesnāt know how he would have gotten through this without Julian. Lucas asks about Wiley, and Brad says heās there, and lets Carly in. Carly says Wiley thought heād never ask. She brings Wiley over to Lucas, and puts him on the bed.
Finn tells Sam, thereās something he wants to say. Her phone rings, and he tells Sam, she should take that. Sam says nothing is as important as what he was about to say. Finn says heās sorry about her parole situation, but heās got nothing to give her on Peter. He gets up, and her phone rings again. Itās Jason, and she asks, whatās up? He says he just heard her brother is awake.
Anna asks if Emma is sure sheās all right on her own, and doesnāt want Anna to drive her to see Epiphany. Emma says she likes the walk to the hospital, and wants to see the park, the library, Rice Plaza, and her old school. Anna says sheās a little young for nostalgia, but Emma says she likes to see places that were important to her. She can stop by the MetroCourt and say hi to Uncle Peter. Anna says theyāve become good friends, and Emma says, even though heās miles away, heās been a good uncle to her and Noah. She tells Anna not to listen to anybody. They donāt know Peter like she and Anna do.
Jordan says she knew Bobās death was suspicious. They need to get the investigation reopened. Taggert says, itās circumstantial, but she says if they give them Bobās background, theyāll see it too. Unless⦠What if this has to do with what they did? They said theyād take it to their graves. He says, itlooks like Bob kept his end of the bargain, and Curtis walks in.
Anna thanks Emma, who says the people who are judging Peter donāt know him like they do. They have to keep believing in him; he deserves their faith. Finn comes in, and says itās a nice surprise. Heās impressed how Emma got there on her own. She says, itās no big deal, and he says sheās a seasoned traveler. Anna says, sheās independent now. Sheās going to see Epiphany on her own. She tells Emma to be back by dark, and if it starts to get late, call, and sheāll pick Emma up. Emma says sheāll give them plenty of time to⦠talk.
Lucas says, let him get this straight. He was in a coma longer than Sam served time for manslaughter? Sam says, funny. Sheās glad he still has his sense of humor. Lucas says, itās fully intact. Michael says, theyāre happy heās back, but not more than Brad is. Sam asks when he can go home, but Bobbie says they donāt want to risk moving him yet. Theyāll keep an eye on him for a few days before heās discharged. Julian asks Brad to step outside with him. They need to take care of some administrative work. In the hallway, Brad asks Julian, whatās up? Julian says they need to get their story straight now. Brad asks if he didnāt hear Lucas say he doesnāt remember, but Julian says, what if he does? Then what? Brad says, thatās a big if, and Julian says, itās a big possibility. Brad thinks Julian should calm down and chill. For once, Brad feels like everything will be okay.
Jordan hugs Curtis, saying she didnāt know he was stopping by. He says he was visiting Laura, whoās been trying to reach her. Jordan guesses sheās been busy, and Curtis says, this would beā¦? She introduces Taggert, and says they go way back. They were colleagues during her stint at the DEA. Curtis asks if Taggert is still in law enforcement, but Taggert says heās retired. Curtis wonders what brings him back to Port Charles, and Taggert says, coincidence. He used to live there, and heās visiting old friends. He didnāt know Jordan was Commissioner. They just ran into each other today. (Dāoh!)
Cyrus tells Sonny, heās offering an olive branch, but Sonny says he doesnāt want peace; he wants Cyrus gone. Cyrus says Sonny is going to be disappointed. He has personal reasons for moving to Port Charles, and heās there to stay. Sonny says, you never know. Cyrus is far from his base of operations. Accidents happen.
Finn tells Anna, Emma is great. Anna says she should have been more patient; sheās sorry. Finn says he should be apologizing. He was wrong. Anna says, okay, she accepts. She thanks him, and says things are a little strained between them. He says he canāt pretend theyāre not, but he doesnāt want to be the guy who runs out when things get tough. She says, thatās not like him, and they kiss. He says thereās something he needs to tell her. He ran into Sam at Kellyās. Sam and Jason are determined to find a link between Peter and the attempt on Franco and Andreās lives. Anna says, Jason is relentless, and Finn says, Robert knows, and heās working with them.
Cyrus tells Sonny, itās true; prison is dangerous. But he has supportive friends. Sonny says he has friends in Pentenville and Port Charles too. He doesnāt trade in Cyrusās merchandise, but he knows people who do. Unfriendly people, who can be expected to go against Cyrus. It could cost Cyrus his life. Sonny hangs up, and Cyrus smiles.
Jordan tells Curtis, today is the first time sheās seen Taggert in ages. (Double Dāoh!) She canāt believe itās been so long. She wishes heād come at a better time, but maybe they can catch up before he leaves. He says he bets TJ is bigger than he is now, and she says TJ could give him a run for his money. Taggert says the three of them should do dinner, and Curtis says, that sounds nice. How long is Taggert there for? Taggert says heās there for the time being. It was nice meeting Curtis. They shake hands, and Taggert says heāll see them around.
Sonny calls Jason at the hospital, and Jason asks how it went. Sonny says theyāre in for a fight. The son of a bitch isnāt backing down.
Doc supposes he canāt hide Lauraās phone and pretend itās lost. Laura asks what kind of mayor she would be if she dodged the phone during a mob war. He says, Sonny is an old friend. Is she going to reach out personally and ask him to keep the peace? She says sheās sure Sonny would avoid it if he could, but sheās afraid whoever is responsible is forcing his hand. That means there could be more collateral damage.
Chase says, amazing, and hugs Willow. She says sheās thrilled. Lucasās family must be over the moon. He asks if she wants to see them, but she says she doesnāt think itās a good idea. She doesnāt want to intrude. Chase doubts it would be an intrusion, but she says she doesnāt want to cross the line. Lucas is out of his coma, and God willing, will recover, and things will get back to normal. He says, doesnāt she want that? and she says, of course (š·), but she wonāt have a role in Wileyās life anymore.
Carly asks if Lucas is okay, and Lucas says heās fine. She says sheāll take Wiley, but Lucas repeats, heās fine, just tired. Bobbie says his body is exhausted, and Carly suggests they leave, and give the two men some time. Sheāll bring Wiley back in the morning. Michael says he can take Wiley for the night, as long as his dads sign off on it. Lucas thanks him, and Carly gives Wiley to Michael. They all leave, except for Julian, who stands there like the jerk he is, with his arms folded. Lucas flashes back to vague memory of Brad telling him Wiley is Lucasās son. Brad asks, what is it?
Tomorrow, Nina tells Valentin that they have to move on from each other, Lucas says Brad was working up to a confession, and Nelle accuses Michael of bringing her there to kill her.
Everyone got a night out at a rooftop bar, and the next morning Sebastian, winner of season 17, brought breakfast. He said the competition had changed his life, with the CFDA helping him launch his first collection, and finding him buyers. His advice for everyone was not to look at the other designers ā in other words, donāt compare ā and to go with their first idea. Geoffrey was very weepy during his interviews, and unsure of what his next move would be. Victoria said she only wanted Alan for moral support, and wouldnāt really let him help. He mostly did things like get water for her. Christian told Geoffrey to reassess the details, and he decided to streamline. After sleeping on it, Brittany decided she didnāt like the grey color scheme sheād chosen, and opted to change the design rather than make something she wasnāt proud of. For the outside of the jacket, she used the print sheād originally meant for the lining, and created black shorts to go with it. Nancy poached Tyler to use as a model, since he was the same size as hers, making Delvin extremely irritated. In Victoriaās interview, she groaned that Nancy kept doing the same silhouette, even though thatās exactly what Victoria does. Asymmetry mean anything to her? Marquis said he was getting his inspiration from the military ā heād been in the ROTC in high school ā and wanted his design to be crisp and clean.
Delvin, Brittany, and Victoria were trashing Nancy, saying her tux looked like a glamorous garbage bag. Unbeknownst to them, she wasnāt far away, and heard every word. I laughed when Delvin realized; his face was priceless. Sergio told her that it was their problem, not hers. In Sergioās interview, he thought all they saw was her age, but she would sneak up on them. While Nancy was on the buttonhole machine, it broke down, and Delvin said that was the second time Nancy had been in his way. Thatās like the millionth time heās been a jerk. Christian said they didnāt have buttonhole machines in his day, and he did okay. In her interview, Brittany pointed out that Sergioās backward tux was a direct copy of Celine Dionās iconic look.
The guest judge was Thom Browne, three time CFDA designer of the year. Brittany was a stand-out, but for all the wrong reasons. She should have stuck with the grey palette. The jacket wasnāt awful, but the lapels were weirdly thin, and the shorts were horrifying. At this point, I figured she was on her way out, even though I desperately wished it was Victoria. I donāt like her, and wouldnāt want to work with her, or even know her. Unfortunately, Victoria somehow whipped together a gorgeous jacket with a long, asymmetrical skirt that revealed a sparkly garter ā the one thing she let Alan do. Karlie said the model looked like a sexy villain in a Bond film, and thought the whole show was amazing.
The judges felt Geoffreyās jumpsuit was minimalist, and he stayed true to the challenge. On the other hand, Nina said she didnāt get tuxedo from Delvinās look, and Brandon said it looked like a leprechaun in a corset. Personally, I didnāt think it was that bad, but I agreed with Sergio, when he leaned over and told Nancy, karma. Thom said the look was too safe. Victoria got high praise for combining feminine and masculine details, boosting confidence and power, while still embracing femininity. Everyone loved the open back that had a satin strip running down the middle. Nina thought Marquiseās tux made his male model look regal and powerful ā I have to add here that his model was super-hot with a banginā bod ā and Brandon said Marquise let his ideas fly; he just needed help anchoring and executing them. Thom said he loved male cleavage, by which he mean a show of the ankles. I actually thought, flood pants, when I saw it, but okay. His tux had a horizontally pleated jacket, with a pant/skirt combination, and Thom said he would have pleated the skirt. I agreed, nodding my head, like Thom cares. Brittany was mortified from the jump, and said sheād never done menswear. Karliās face was like, WTF? and Elaine said, it was hard to look at; there was so much wrong. She was shocked it was Brittanyās design, and said, it was like a douchey Hamptons party look. (Ha-ha-ha! They probably would wear that on Summer House.) Brandon said, it was a mess, and I thought the whole thing was just sad. Thom said the proportion was the hardest thing for him to take, and if she was going that way, she should have gone even shorter, and pushed the limit. Sergio ā who needs to either get it together with his causes or stop throwing them in there ā said he went with the backward thing because of the state of the country. Everyone thought they knew where he was going, but he did a 180 by saying we should go back to the 1950s, when everything was better; a house was affordable, and a family could live on one income. Granted, heās right there, but Elaine pointed out that the 50s wasnāt a great time for people of color. She told him that his messaging was frequently off, and he should stick to fashion. Because somebody had to, Nina brought up John Gallianoās backward tux that Celine Dion wore to the Academy Awards. Sergio claimed heād never seen it, and absolutely no one bought that. Nancy got all excited about her sleeveless print tux, and babbled endlessly. Brandon said he wished he could do interviews that way. People asked what his inspiration was, and heād say he didnāt know. Thom said it didnāt speak tuxedo to him, and thought she was playing it safe. Nobody seemed to like it very much, which surprised me. It wasnāt anything I would wear, but I thought it was something different, and looked terrific on the model. The judges were so negative, at this point, I worried about Nancy being out.
The judges deliberated, and Sergio, Marquise, Geoffrey, and Victoria were on top; while Delvin, Nancy, and Brittany were at the bottom. Brittanyās placing was obvious (they were all like, what the hell?), but the judges said Delvin had too many things going on, and Nancyās tux wasnāt anything they hadnāt seen before. Karlie thought the brocade was overwhelming, and she was underwhelmed with the design.
Marquise was the big winner, the judges saying his garment was well-tailored, and that heād reinvented the tux. He had the confidence and ability to extend and challenge himself. He said it was an honor to be able to come back and prove his worth. In his interview, he was especially honored by Thomās approval, and was thrilled he got to show the judges why he shouldnāt have been eliminated. It is pretty cool that he got brought back, and then won a challenge.
The judges said the bottom three missed the mark for different reasons, but one look was a clear failure. I knew then, Brittany was out. She looked miserable. Delvin was crying, but Iām not so sure it was for her. Iād hoped it was because he was humbled after trashing Nancy, but it was probably because he just escaped by the skin of his teeth. Brandon told Brittany, it was painful to see her go, but sometimes a devastating thing brings you back to life. He suggested she use it to propel herself to other great things he knew she was capable of. Through her tears, she said it had been an honor to be there, and she looked up to all of them. It had been a crazy ride. She got a Karlie hug, and in her interview, said she disappointed the judges and herself. She had thought sheād be in the finale. I thought Sebastian was right in saying you should go with your first idea.
While backstage, Brittany bemoaned there being nothing to be happy about or proud of with her tux look, Christian made his usual appearance to gently tell the loser it was time to clean up their space. He told Brittany, he was so sorry. Sheād have to endure this a little longer. It was the Siriano Save, used at last. He said he thought sheād lost her way, but she was talented and her work was amazing, so he wanted to save her. We saw a clip of Christian telling the judges about his decision to save Brittany, and the judges being all happy. In her non-exit interview, Brittany said she had to show she was worthy of Christianās save, and not let him down.
Next time, a tie-dye challenge, and Leslie Jones is the guest judge. I love her!

Once she signs them over, sheāll have all the money she needs to move wherever she wants. Martin asks what the offer is in terms of numbers, and Michael says he had a proposal written up this morning. Nelle looks at it, and rips it up. She says, better, but not nearly enough. Sheās not going anywhere.

Julian takes a plastic bag with some pills in it out of his coat.
Spinelli asks if Sam is going after Peter, and says heās all in. Peter is unworthy of Maxieās love. By chance, he saved Andre and Francoās lives, and Maxie has taken his heroics as redemption. Sam says, she and Jason donāt buy it. They suspect Peter hired the gunman. Spinelli says, Peter shot him. Why thwart his own plan? Sam doesnāt know. To cover his tracks, or he had second thoughts. Maybe he had a change in heart to win Maxie over. Spinelli says, now Maxie is living with him. Sam says, if theyāre right, Peter had a bigger part in the original memory transfer than he claims, and scrambled to cover his tracks. If she and Jason can find solid evidence, they can be together again.
Jason tells Sonny that he knows why it was hard to break the gunman. It wasnāt money; it was fear. Carly comes in, and Sonny says theyāre having a business discussion. She says if it has to do with who targeted their family, she deserves to be part of it. She, Josslyn, and Michael were almost shot. She deserves to know who tried to kill her children, and what Sonny is going to do about it. Sonny says, letās hear it, and Jason says, Cyrus Renault. Carly asks who that is, and Sonny says, a drug trafficker. Heās a heavy hitter who funneled drugs through Russia to the US, and paid off officials so he could operate in both countries. He has a reputation for being ruthless, and you donāt want him as an enemy.

Anna asks if Finn thinks now is the right time to have this conversation. Heās been up all night, and hasnāt slept. Finn says, thatās true. Then again, every time he asks, she dodges the question, like sheās doing now. She says she and Peter had a good talk. He IDād Eurotech as one of Faisonās companies, and said he worked there. He said a lot of people did, and one of Faisonās associates could have easily targeted Andre. Thatās probably what happened. Itās a connection to Faison, not Peter. Finn asks if she knows anyone besides Helena, Faison, and Peter who was involved in kidnapping Jason and Drew. She says, not by name, but itās not like thereās a detailed record. Peter knew nothing about the assassin, and the authorities need more than a work association to link him. Finn says, how about her?
Sam tells Spinelli, Brice said Peter paid him to implicate her, it would make sense that heād be behind the attacks on Drew and Andre. Spinelli starts to get up, saying he doesnāt want Peter anywhere near Maxie and the children. Sam stops him, and says, Maxie canāt know anything until they have solid evidence. Spinelli says, true. Peter will just talk his way out of it again. Sam says, thatās where Spinelli comes in. He says, do tell.
Jason tells SonnyĀ that he got a lead on Cyrusās Canadian entry into the US. They should be able to track his shipment. Sonny says, do it, and tells Jason they uncovered something in Cyrusās DOJ file. Heās not at Thompson Penitentiary anymore. He was taken out in the middle of the night; a top secret transfer. Carly asks where he went, and Sonny says, Pentenville.
Nina says she was telling Maxie how supportive Jax was when he brought the champagne and cheese to her office. He hopes she liked it, and she says she did ā a lot. Sheās very grateful, so thatās the reason she was acting weird when she ran into him. She doesnāt know how to act around him. He tells her, take it easy. The kiss shouldnāt have happened. She says, no?
Peter finds Maxie at the MetroCourt, and tells her that her office said sheād be there. She says sheās eating with Nina, whoās otherwise engaged. She asks how Anna is, and he says, better than he expected. He, Violet, and Anna were playing Captain Marvel. She says, Violet adores him, and he says, Emma is coming to visit, so next time, theyāre playing Black Widow. Everyone is making an effort to include him in the family. She says, tell her everything, and he flashes back to Anna telling him that his link to David Black didnāt make it back into the case file. The incriminating documents are out of reach. He tells Maxie that Anna is very supportive. Itās nice to know sheās on his side. Maxie says, of course (š·) she is. Sheās his mom.
Sam tells Spinelli, as Georgieās father, he has every right to insert himself into Maxieās life. He doesnāt know if he can be cordial to Maxieās boyfriend, but Sam says Peter might get suspicious, and thereās only one choice. Spinelli says, hack his computer, and she says, exactly. Thereās probably a goldmine of information in there. Just donāt put himself at risk. He says with Maxie, Georgie, and James involved, itās worth the risk. Heāll do it, even if it takes him all the way to Mount Doom.
Nelle says, Martin deals in facts, and the fact is, Michael is never going to love her, but she couldnāt care less. Heās not sure he believes her, or that Michael does. She asks if heās ever heard the term, misdirection. You get them to focus on one thing, and they donāt see the trap until itās too late.
Michael asks if Sasha is sure sheās not having second thoughts. She says, every time she sees Nelle, sheāll whisper, boathouse. Michael asks if Nelle got to her, and she says, no. He says, itās okay. Heās the first to admit that sometimes Nelle lands one. Sasha asks if he thinks sheās like Nelle.
Martin asks what Nelle is really up to, and she says the longer she lives with the Quartermaines, the more theyāll want to get rid of her, and the more theyāll pay her to go away. She needs enough to live well for the rest of her life. Sheās going to be too busy to work. He asks what sheās going to be doing, and she says sheāll have plenty to occupy herself with. New cult leader perhaps? Just a thought.
Anna asks, if Violet hadnāt entered Finnās life, would he be more willing to see the good in Peter? When they get married, Peter and Violet will be brother and sister. He asks if thatās still the plan. Let him know. She asks what he means, and he says, when they got engaged, they talked about being married by now. But then she decided to take off for six months. She says, he told her it was okay. He says he doesnāt remember being asked. Violet comes back, and Anna makes a fuss over her getting dressed by herself. Finn says heāll take Violet to school, and Anna asks if heās coming back. He says heās not sure. He has a lot to think about. He leaves, and Anna looks like sheās going to cry.
Maxie and Peter invite Alexis to join them. Seeing Nina with Jax, she sits down. Peter asks what she thinks about Nikolasās return from the dead. She says, if itās for The Invader, no comment. He says, change of subject. Tell him about something he wouldnāt want to publish.
Jax says heās Ninaās boss; itās inappropriate. She says he wasnāt sexually harassing her. He says, call it ill timing. Sheās still dealing with the Valentin fallout. She doesnāt need him to make it more complicated. He thinks they should put the kiss behind them, and move forward as friends. Thatās right. Jax just put Nina in the friend zone.
Michael tells Sasha, nothing Nelle said can hurt them, and Sasha says, heās right. She canāt let Nelle get to her. He says as soon as he figures out Nelleās end game, sheās out of their lives for good.
Nelle says she has one shot, and Martin asks, whatās the magic number? She says sheāll know it when she sees it. She needs an offer high enough so she can leave Port Charles forever. He says she talks as though Michael is no longer part of the plan, and she says, heās not.
Brad drowses, sitting up on the couch, and struggles to wake. He thanks Julian for the time out, whatever the reason. Julian says heās glad to help. Brad looks like someone who needs a break. He asks how the coffee is, but Brad says he hasnāt tried it yet. It would be nice if they werenāt at each otherās throats anymore, especially with Nelle out of prison. Julian says they need to work together, and Brad says they both forgot Lucas. Julian says they have to make sure he has something to come home to. They clink paper coffee cups, and toast to the to the future.
Sonny says, the timing of Cyrusās transfer wasnāt a coincidence. Jason says, he must have pulled some strings. Heāll check to see if any politicians have received extra compensation. Maybe Cyrus made a new political connection. He leaves, and Carly asks if Sonny has dealt with Cyrus before. He says, no, but heās stepping up to his reputation; no warning, no open negotiations. Carly says, if he operates out of the Pacific Northwest, why is he coming after Sonny now? Sonny doesnāt know, but heās going to find out.
Jax promises Nina it wonāt happen again. She says sheās not worried heās going to ambush her with another one. He says, so are they free to continue as friends? She says, colleagues, and they shake hands. She says she should get back to work, and he says, Alexis left, so he should get going too. Nina heads back to Maxieās table, and Jax goes to the elevator, looking back at Nina before he gets in.
Maxie says sheās proud of Peter, but why did he back off? Peter says when Alexis didnāt want to answer questions, and he realized he wouldnāt want Anna or Violet intruded on. Nina tells Maxie that she has to get back to the office. Maxie says she can go, but Nina tells her to stay and enjoy her coffee with Peter. Sheāll see her later. Maxie tells Peter that she thinks she should probably go. Spinelli appears, and says, gracious greetings. Itās a joy to see them both. Can he join them?
Finn literally smacks into Sam at Kellyās. She asks if heās all right, and he says, obviously not. She says he must have had a rough night at GH. Has he gotten some rest? He says, not yet. He walked in⦠forget it. Itās not important. He starts to leave, and Sam says, wait, grabbing his arm. She asks if the something unimportant has anything to do with the conversation they had about protecting their children. He says, what do you when someone you love makes a mistake so big it could cost someone their life?
On the phone, Anna confirms with Robin that Emma is on the plane. Sheās so glad Emma is coming to visit. Sheās just the person Anna needs to see.
Sasha tells Michael, sorry for her moment of doubt. She wonāt pay any attention to Nelle. Nelle canāt scare her off. Michael says, no matter what Nelle is planning on, they can get through it together, and they kiss.
Martin wonders if Nelle is going to enjoy being the houseguest from hell, and she says, let the games begin.
Bradās phone rings. He listens, and says, what? Oh my God. He tells Julian, Lucas is awake.
Carly tells Jason that she got into it with Jax. He wants Josslyn to live with him. Heās worried about her safety, and she doesnāt blame him. Should she pack the kids up and go to California; get a place on the beach? Jason asks if Jax would let her take Josslyn. Sonny wonāt let her take Avery. Is she going to leave Avery leave behind? And Michaelās not a kid anymore. Carly gets it; itās impossible. Jason says, itās just too soon. Cyrus had the advantage, but not anymore. Heās far from his home base, and theyāre going to shut him down quick. Carly asks, what if they canāt? and he says, if it becomes too dangerous, heāll tell her, and theyāll figure out what to do next. She takes his hand.
Sonny picks up the visitorās phone at Pentenville. Sitting on the other side of the glass, Cyrus says, Mr. Corinthos. We meet at last.
Tomorrow, Julian says no way is Brad bringing him down, Sam tells Finn that he has to tell her if he knows anything about Peter, Laura says she was collateral damage, and Sonny tells Cyrus that he made a big problem for himself.
š»Ā On The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa had forgotten the ID she and the girls needed to get in to see His Royal Juiciness. After making a few frantic phone calls, she was able to get in by showing them copies sent by Hot Joe (i.e. Joe #2). She said Joe #1 looked tired, and they had to visit through glass in this facility. At Doloresās place, daughter Gabrielle was home, and about to go to vet school in the Leeward Islands, as she couldnāt get into any of the US schools. More power to her. My GYN was schooled in the Philippines, and heās fabulous. Dolores said she was a realistic pessimist, and didnāt want to make a move to the new house with David without a commitment. She wasnāt keen on seeing someone else move in either, since sheād overseen every detail in creating it. Jennifer told husband Bill about Jackie having money, and Margeās upcoming party. She felt bad about calling Jackie cheap. Bill told her to think about apologizing to Melissa, Joe #2 told him about Jennifer throwing the plate. Jennifer said she was just trying to get Melissaās attention, but he said two wrongs donāt make a right, and suggested she carry a bell.
Melissa went to dinner with her mother and sisters, since she needed a dose of her family. They discussed raising kids during their teen years, and Melissa wondered when Antonia was going to stop being obnoxious. She told them about wanting another baby, and that the doctor said she was in prime condition. Her mom said she might have one egg left, and they toasted to that. At Teresaās house, Bro Joe came over to fix a sink leak, and they talked about Gia going to the prom with Frankie Jr. Even Iām excited about that. In his interview, Joe #2 thought Teresa should stop spending money on attorneys for Joe #1, but understood the girls wanting their dad to be there. Teresa said Joe #1 told her to find someone else, and he feels nothing for her. Joe #2 told her that he never thought Teresa had a good relationship. Joe #1 never treated her the way she should be treated. He felt a real man could open up and say I love you.
Jackie visited with her dad Barry, and had arranged for some professional organizers to do their thing, starting in the kitchen. Some stuff was a little messy, but he was hardly a candidate for Hoarders. Jackie told him that she was concerned there was nothing in his fridge except mashed potatoes and iced tea. He said he hadnāt had a steak or pork chop in nine years, since heād had lap band surgery. He couldnāt stand to gain five pounds, and said he weighs himself every morning. In her interview, Jackie said that her fatherās yo-yo dieting had been a contributing factor to her eating disorder. She told him that his itās almost worth it comment was almost an insult to her. There were times she licked ice cubes for dinner, but all he saw was the result. She knew anything they said to one another came from a place of love, but wanted him to understand that his insensitivity hurt. He seemed like a cool guy.
Marge got ready for her business anniversary party, and Joe #3 hoped his friends knew what cocktail attire was. Jackie admitted Marge was the best hostess ever, but told Bill that sheād had it with Jennifer. Bill said the guys had been busting his chops because of the way she acts, and said that she was frustrated sexually. Jennifer promised there would be no scene at Margeās party, but weāll see what happens. Marge told Joe #3 that she was considering having security at the party.
In her interview, Marge told us her brand was all about affordable luxury, and how you can make things amazing on a budget. She said she was unsinkable, and she and Marge Sr. would always be each otherās sidekicks. David didnāt show, and Jennifer wasnāt entirely sure David existed. Dolores told everyone sheād rented a house at the Jersey shore, and she wanted all of them to come, husbands included. I said a silent prayer that they never rent a house near me. Dolores felt her role in the group was peacemaker (really?), and she thought going there would bring them to a better place. Melissa said if someone was an a-hole, she was going to tell them that they were an a-hole, and Jennifer was being an a-hole.
When Jennifer got there, she barely acknowledged Melissa, and in her interview, Melissa wondered how Jennifer could throw sh*t at her, and then walk by giving her a lame wave. How about being an adult, and apologizing for being an a-hole? Marge said she told Jennifer, no hysteria, and I noted Margeās housekeeper dresses better than I do. In Jackieās interview, she said she thought Jennifer and her husband tolerated each other because he works so much, even though she spends every penny. Jennifer didnāt want tension at the Shore, and told Jackie that she felt terrible. Jackie said sheād ruined the trip, and Jennifer tried to throw Marge under the bus by saying sheād repeated a private conversation. In her interview, Jackie said, now itās Margeās fault. Jennifer needs to take responsibility. Jackie told Jennifer that it had been a number of times, and she wasnāt sure they mixed. Jennifer got pretty pissed that Jackie wasnāt having it.
Jennifer went running to Marge, saying Jackie was rude, and she told Jackie to take the stick out of her ass. Dolores said she didnāt want fighting on the trip. Good luck with that. Dolores said the husbands get along, and in Margeās interview, she thought maybe the testosterone would calm the estrogen down. She told Jennifer to give it a rest. As for the husbands getting along, it looked like that might be on shaky ground. Joe #2 confronted Bill, asking what was up with his wife throwing food at Melissa? He said sheād also thrown a glass at Melissa before, and we flashed back to that. Melissa should have popped her one then, and been done with it. Bill said he couldnāt hold Jennifer back, and Joe #2 suggested he bang her more; she was frustrated. Bill walked away, and Joe #3 said he couldnāt take it. In Doloresās interview, she said she didnāt want the husbands fighting because people could get hurt, and we flashed back to some tussling. Marge made a speech, telling everyone how she started her business on the kitchen table with no money. Her mom showed her how important it was to be independent, and they needed to raise and inspire strong women. She toasted to twenty years, and hoped for another twenty.
Dolores told Marge about Bill getting bombarded. In her interview, Marge said the event was a miracle ā no glasses went flying, and no one embarrassed her ā but the Jersey Shore was going to be a freaking sh*t show.
Next time, Giaās prom and the trip to the Shore.
šĀ Tonight, Summer House won the award for TMI, and images I will never get out of my head. Amanda said she needed to stop picturing it ā it being a sexual act that happened between Carl and Lindsay ā and I said, no, I do. Thereās already all kinds of yelling and sh*t, and itās only the first week. I still canāt believe these people all have good jobs, and can afford to stay at a palatial home for the summer, while I go to back porchville for vacation.

Milania turns fourteen. It seems like just yesterday she was singing about wanting to grow up.
I mostly included this so I could tell you how I mixed up both Mitt Romney with Mitch McConnell, and Kirk Douglas with Charlton Heston today. Take that, Samuel L. Jackson. Iām not Laurence Fishburne! We donāt all look alike!
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
General Hospital
Ned startles Tracy, whoās peering into the living room between the pocket doors. He asks who sheās spying on, and she says sheās not spying. Tell her what he sees. We see Nelle, telling herself, another mimosa, Miss Nelle? Donāt mind if I do. Ned says, itās Nelle in their living room, helping herself to their breakfast and talking to herself. Tracy says, good. Her eyes arenāt deceiving her. She starts to go upstairs, and Ned asks where sheās going. She says, to get daddyās Winchester.
On the phone, Michael says, it was spur of the moment. He had to get Nelle away from Wiley, and it was the only way. Itās just temporary. Carly is about to go off, and Jason tells her, Michael is handling it; itās his situation. She says she canāt believe Brad let Nelle be near Wiley physically. (How else? Psychically?) Jason says they have bigger problems to deal with, and she says, like who targeted her family.
One of Sonnyās guys punches the gunman, whoās tied to a chair. Sonny says the guy shot up his warehouse. His wife was inside, and thatās a problem for him. His guy punches the gunman sone more.
On the phone at Kellyās, Sam says sheās fine. Sheās keeping a low profile. How is he? Jason says, itās quiet there. The police are still going over the warehouse. She asks if heās had any sleep, and he says, enough. She tells him that he needs to rest, but he says heās fine. Heās been through this before. He asks her to tell the kids he loves them. She says they love him too.
Finn calls Anna, but gets voicemail. He says he wanted to give her an update. He just left Laura, and sheās conscious. Her prognosis is good. Heās going to grab a coffee, and then heāll be home.
Annaās phone is on the floor, and her wrists are tied to her bannister. She calls for help, and Peter comes down the stairs. He says no one is going to save her. Iām assuming this is a dream.
Jax asks Sasha how sheās doing, and she says sheās tired; she didnāt sleep well. Jax says she has a lot to think about. He doesnāt know her well, but he does know Michael. Heās a good man, but his loyalty has put him in danger before. Heās not trying to frighten her, but wants her to know what sheās getting herself into. She says Michael filled her in, but she hasnāt asked a lot of questions. Jax says, Michael steers clear of Sonnyās business, but that doesnāt mean Sonnyās business steers clear of him. Anyone attached to the Corinthos family is eventually affected by Sonnyās chosen profession.Ā
Michael asks if Jason has any leads, and Jason says they hope to have a name soon. Michael says, then what? and Jason says, depends on the name. Carly says she wasnāt the target; they went after Sonny and Michael in public. Jason says, anyone who acts out in the open like that wants to dismantle Sonnyās organization in one preemptive strike, and she says, they tried to take Sonny and Michael out, but they gambled and lost.
On another call, Sam says sheāll see them when she sees them. Sheās not hurt, but she canāt get into it on the phone. She thinks with their help, she and Jason can be together for good this time. Theyāll talk later. Finn comes over to the table to say hi, and a bodyguard moves forward. Sam says, itās okay, and tells Finn, itās a recent development. Itās been tense. Finn says he was just with Laura in the OR, and her prognosis is good. Heās sure when sheās better, sheāll want to focus on whoās responsible.
Ned says, the Winchester hasnāt been fired in thirty years, Tracy will shoot her eye out. I die laughing. Tracy says itās the only way to get that greedy opportunist out of their lives, but Ned says they can get the shares without waving a rifle in Nelleās face. Tracy says, she has to be finessed. Ned says theyāll strategize on how best to propel her back into the abyss from whence she came. Nelle comes out, and asks, whoās going into the abyss? Tracy says, why you, my dear.
Peter says Anna has been playing him for a fool, pretending to be on his side. But she got careless and revealed her true colors. Now she has to pay. Violet comes out in costume with a toy ray gun, and says not if she has anything to do with it. Peter says, Captain Marvel! Not the cosmic rays! Violet pretends to shoot him, and he falls to the ground. Anna says, her hero; now get her out. Violet unties her, and she asks if Violet wants to play another game. Peter asks if he can be Nick Fury next time. Being the bad guy is doing a number on his back. Violet says, but heās so good at it.
Finn asks if Sonny has plans to retaliate, but Sam says he has to know who to retaliate against. Itās still a mystery. Scout says she likes mysteries. Finn asks if she likes tea parties, Sam says Scout isnāt much of a girly girl; she takes after her mom. Finn says Sam seems incredibly relaxed after last nightās tumult. Scout asks what a tumult is, and Sam says, too much excitement, and asks Scout to listen to her music while mommy has an adult conversation. She puts a set of earphones on Scout, and Finn says, well done. Sam is taking the excitement in stride. She says she doesnāt like it, but itās part of her life ā and part of his. He tells her, he worked all night, and his brain isnāt working. Does she mean the occasional life and death decisions he has to make with patients? She says she means his engagement to a woman whoās job it is to be a spy. It isnāt that far removed from Jason. Anna has her own enemies and people who follow her back home on occasion.
Peter falls, and Anna and Violet high-five. Anna tells Violet to get ready; she thinks the bus will be there soon. Violet goes upstairs, and Peter says heās exhausted. Anna says Violet is a precocious little girl. Sheās sure itās not what he had in mind this morning. He says he probably would have worn different pants, but itās good practice for when James gets older. She asks if itās going well with Maxie, and he says it is. They have a future to look forward to, thanks to her. He feels thereās something more he should do or say. He knows how far out on a limb she went. She says he doesnāt owe her anything, but he says he owes her his whole world. What he has with Maxie and James could have been put at risk if anyone found out about his peripheral connection with the man who tried to assassinate Andre and Franco. It still might come out, but sheās bought him time. Anna flashes back to hiding the papers with Peterās information on them. She says sheās not concerned about that, nor should he be.
Sonnyās guy continues to punch out the gunman. Sonny says the gunman isnāt his enemy, but whoever sent him is. He needs a name. The gunman says nothing, and Sonny tells him, suit himself.
Carly tells Jason, whoever did this, blindsided Sonny, but their strategy didnāt work. Heās on guard now. She asks if thereās any chance whoever it is will cut their losses and go. Jason says he doubts it. Port Charles is valuable territory, and whoever runs it stands to make a lot of money. Anyone with the motivation to try what they did, will try again. Sonny calls Jason, and says he needs Jason to finish up. Jason says heās on his way. Carly thanks Jason for checking on them, and he tells her, if she has to go out, let the guards do their job. He leaves, and Carly asks Michael if heās all right. Michael says he should be asking her. The last time this happened they were kids. Itās different as adults. He knows the guards can only do so much. Heās not worried about himself, but heās concerned for her, Josslyn, and the girls. She says theyāre as safe as Sonny can make them. Heās working hard to end this. Thatās what Michael should remember from when he was a kid; Sonny will end this. Michael says itās what Sonny does, and no one does it better. She asks how Sasha is taking it, and he says, as well as she can; sheās a stranger to this. Telling her it was his dad who was the target isnāt a comfort. Carly says, none of this is easy. Jax and Sasha come back in, and Michael asks if Sasha is ready to go. Carly says theyāre safe there. Besides the guards, thereās a strong police presence, and Sasha thanks her for the hospitality. Carly tells Michael that she knows heās protected by the police, but Nelle is at the Quartermainesā, and sheās Ā Ā a different kind of dangerous. Michael leaves with Sasha.
Ned takes Nelleās drink away, and she tells him, thatās rude. He says her owning shares doesnāt afford her the right to their beverages. Tracy says, or their house. Who let her in? Nelle says sheās been meaning to say something about that. She needs her own key. Tracy says, when hell freezes over. Ned says, over the years they have extended hospitality to those in need, but that doesnāt include needy murderers. Nelle says, the man who built the house tried to blow up the woman he built it for, but Ned says, Alan was a member of the family; his alleged crimes donāt count. Her crimes, that she was convicted and sentenced for⦠Tracy says, definitely count. Ned says now that theyāve cleared that up, thereās the door. Nelle sits, and says sheās not going anywhere. Ned says she can visit for the purposes of negotiation, but she canāt just show up uninvited. Nelle says, she was invited. Didnāt Brook tell them? She and Tracy are practically roomies.
Jax tells Carly that he needs to talk to Josslyn, but Carly says, not now; sheās tired. Jax says he brought Josslyn there last night because Carly asked, and it was the safest place. Now that the smoke has cleared, itās time to reassess. The further people are away from Sonny, the safer they are; history has shown that. Look at Michael and Morgan. Carly canāt believe he went there, and he says, Michael was hit with a stray bullet meant for Sonny. Morgan was killed in a mob hit meant for Sonny. Josslyn is his daughter, not Sonnyās, and itās not okay. He doesnāt want that danger to be part of Josslynās life. Carly says she wonāt be separated indefinitely from her daughter, but Jax says, away from Sonny is the safest place; for her and Donna too. Why doesnāt she take the girls, and get away while she still can? Sonny comes in.
Ned says his daughter invited Nelle to live there? and Tracy says, just when she thought Brook was out of nasty tricks. Nelle says Brook did her best to throw her out, but she has full rights and privileges of the house and grounds. Ned says, only one person decides who lives there, and itās Monica. Itās her house; Alan gave it to her. Thereās no way she was told. Michael and Sasha walk in, and Michael says, Monica agreed Nelle could stay. Tracy asks why Monica would do that, and Michael says because he asked her to.
Finn tells Sam, at first, he didnāt want anything to do with Anna and her business, but she roped him in. Once he got to know her, he realized he had to accept the whole package. Sam gets it. She knows how Finn came to be with Anna; Cassandra was her cellmate. Finn gives her his condolences, and says heās glad she got out unscathed. Cassandra is quite dangerous. She says Cassandra had not so nice things to say about him. She thinks Cassandra is a little bitter about the fact he and Anna took her down. Finn is glad Cassandra was put away; he canāt really be doing this anymore. It was one thing for him to put himself on the line with his choices, but now he has Violet to think about. The choices he makes are Violetās by default. Sam asks if he knows how they say kids are resilient. They really are. She got out of Pentenville on Christmas Eve. When she got home, the kids were so excited. They werenāt withdrawn, and just wanted to hang out and make cookies for Santa. She gets how, as a parent, he wants to protect his child from pain and loss, and give her the best possible life, but sometimes you can only do what you can do. Finn says itās hard not to be selfish when it comes to protecting Violet. Sam says she sometimes feels that way, but what affects their children more than their choices is how much they love them and are there for them, and the people they allow in their lives.
Peter asks if Anna doesnāt think the PCPD will discover the link between him and David Black. She says, quite the contrary. She would expect Mac or one of his detectives to discover a link, but itās not possible. Peter says, because? and she says, the evidence in question didnāt make it back with the case file. The less Peter knows, the better, but be assured the incriminating documents are out of reach. He thanks her, and she says, it was the right thing to do. Itās saving the department time and energy conducting a needless investigation. Peter doesnāt need to be under scrutiny or defend his reputation again. He says heās less concerned about answering to the PCPD than Jason. Does she think Jason suspects? She says, of course (š·). Jason believes heās behind Drewās disappearance, and probably blames him for the attack on Franco and Andre.
Tracy wonders if the whole world is mad, and Ned tells Michael to make him understand. Michael says Nelle was staying with Brad and Wiley, and he didnāt want her anywhere near his godson. Tracy says he should sic her on Sonny and Carly; they deserve her. Ned says Leo is there, and Danny and Scout come to visit. Nelle says sheās not an ogre who eats children. She needs a place to rest her head so she can comply with her parole. Michael says Monica agreed to let her stay there, and it will be easier to negotiate Oscarās shares. Ned says, a warning would have been nice.
Finn tells Sam, kids are amazing, but they mask a lot. They donāt always talk about what theyāre feeling. Violetās mom is gone, and sheās in a new city with a father she just met. How can she process all that? Sam knows what heās talking about. Scout used to ask about Drew all the time, but she doesnāt ask anymore. She knows the memories will start to fade, and sheāll be left with just stories. Finn asks if Sam ever got confirmation on why Drewās plane went down. Sam says he would know better, being with a woman who works for the WSB. Anna would have the information. All Sam was told was the case was closed, but the truth is, she doesnāt buy it. It was a coordinated attack on Drew and Andre. If she thinks about it, sheād say it goes back to Faison, Helena, and the original memory transfer. Does he know if the WSB is still looking into it? Finn remembers Anna telling him a smoking gun would help, but thereās no connection to Peter. He tells Sam that Anna is careful not to share too much. Sam says, Anna is a good person. If she had insight on what happened to Drew, or knew who was involved, Anna would tell her. Of course (š·) thatās if the information didnāt paint her son in a bad light.
Anna tells Peter, she tried telling Jason that his accusations are unfounded. Peter says she doesnāt have to defend him, but she says, who better? Jason respects her, and listens to her to a point. Peter says, Jason plays by his own rules. Jason could kill him, and heād never see it coming. She says she did her best to talk Jason down, and Peter says heās still alive, so she was successful, but what about moving forward? He still needs to be careful. If Jason believes heās responsible for everything, itās only a matter of time before Jason has an excuse to make a move. Anna says Jason will have to go through her first.
Sonny says he thought Jax went home, and Jax says they were having a discussion. Sonny says he didnāt hear a discussion; he heard Jax unloading on his wife. Jax asks how Sonnyās business is. Is he any closer to finding the guy who almost shot his daughter. Sonny says the police are looking. Why doesnāt Jax call them for an update? Jax says heās not leaving until theyāre on the same page. Sonny says heāll make it easy. Jax disapproves of his life. Jax says, thatās old news. They have a new list of disasters to deal with, like how does Sonny plan to handle the Brando situation?

Katie tells Schwartz that being an amazing friend, but Kristen is being an a-hole in standing her ground. Now sheās seeing Carter on Saturday. She doesnāt want to have the same conversation again. Carter has Kristenās house code, and can literally walk in any time. Schwartz says, breakups are hard, and Katie says sheāll show Kristen how to take a break when she takes one from her.
In Kristenās interview, she says she knows Katie has disowned her, but she has no idea where Stassi stands. The thought of losing both of them is like a knife in her heart. Stassi asks Beau if heās going to the beach, and Beau says heās trying to look at messages from the guys, but he thinks heās going to wait. Schwartz knocks at Ariana and Tomās door. Jax is with him, and says his eyes wonāt open by themselves. Schwartz asks if Tom got some last night, and Tom gets back in bed. Ariana tells him that he has to get up. Jax pulls his wig off, and says heās not going to have any eyebrows left. Schwartz goofs around with a walker, and Jax gets to work using a knife to scrape the makeup off. Tom puts a piece of latex on Schwartz, who freaks. The makeup artists arrive.
At the beach, Brittany tells the girls that she loves all of them. Sheās had an amazing time; every day was fantastic. Did she go to the same party we did? The girls wonder where Kristen is, and Brittany says she and Scheana went to the pool.
Groomsman Ben escorts Kristen to the pool. Schwartz says Jax never drinks the day after drinking, but Jax says, itās a bachelor party, so he is. The waitress brings a gigantic drink with a bunch of straws in it. Jax says heās sending it back because he wants sparklers, then tells her that heās kidding. Brittany wonders if Kristen went to the pool because of what happened. At the pool, Kristen tells Scheana that she was literally choking back tears. She would literally (apparently her favorite word) take s bullet for Katie, but itās not reciprocated. She insists Katie told her eff you out of the blue, without telling Scheana what led up to it. Brittany tells the others, she doesnāt want to be brought into the conversation again. Sheās not giving up on Kristen. She agrees Kristen should take a break from Carter, and has told her, but sheāll still be there no matter what. Lala says she appreciates Katie telling it like it is, but maybe she and Kristen shouldnāt be friends with each other. In Stassiās interview, she says she, Kristen, and Katie used to be the witches of WeHo, sitting on the beach drinking wine out of their purses, and talking sh*t about everyone. Now she and Katie are on the beach, talking sh*t about Kristen. Itās actually kind of sad. Kristen tells Scheana that she canāt do anything right, and Scheana says, people outgrow each other.
Max roots through Daynaās refrigerator, making comments, and she tells him to cut it out. He quizzes her on drink ingredients, and asks if everyone is being nice. She says they hate her. She comes around a corner, and they glare at her or look the other way. Max guesses itās because of him, but he never did anything to anyone there. Dayna says Danica pulled her aside, and told her that Max had been seeing Adriana. It was starting to get serious, and on her birthday, he went home with her friend, and thatās how it ended. He never gave her closure or a chance talk about it, and wonāt even acknowledge her presence anymore. He says, thatās an effing lie. There was nothing to discuss. They hung out late at night after work sometimes. Sheās making up sh*t. Theyāre servers, and heās the general manager; to keep talking about it seems petty. Danica talks behind Daynaās back, and then pretends to be her friend. She pretends telling Dayna information about him is looking out for her. In Daynaās interview, she says, if it comes down to taking someoneās word, she believes Max. Heās been honest with her, and Danica wants her to get on the bandwagon to not like him. Max wonders if everyone stopped talking about them, what theyād talk about, and Dayna says, her nipples.
Jax realizes heās used hand cream instead of toothpaste (ptooey!), and Schwartz tells Katie, no more strip clubs for the rest of the year. Maybe for the rest of his life.
The drinks flow at SUR. We see Raquel, who is now a server there, and who I forgot is on this show. Dayna tells Danica that she appreciates the talk they had the other night. At first, she was nervous, but she talked to Max, and theyāre good. Itās settled. Danica says she just thought itās something Dayna should know, woman to woman. I cringe to the nth power. In Danicaās interview, she says, Danica stares at you so seriously, she can make you believe anything she says. For five seconds, she believed Max was a good person, but sheās not that stupid. Danica tells Dayna that Lisa is coming in, and sheās giving her a heads up that Lisa will be in her section. Dayna says sheās been studying her cards, and feels she knows the menu. Danica takes Dayna to the back, to show her how to make Lisaās tea.
The group goes to another club. Brittany passes out sashes to the girls. The Toms dance. In Schwartzās interview, he says, Batman has his Robin again. Not that heās Robin. Theyāre both Batmans. Brittany babbles to Beau (say that three times real fast) about Kristen, saying itās been a roller coaster. In Brittanyās interview, she says she thinks Kirsten looks up to her and Jax as a relationship that can work after going through crap. She thinks Kristen wants the same thing with Carter. The Toms come out bearing giant Brittany and Jax photo heads on sticks.
Puffy! Giggy! Lisa and Ken arrive at SUR, along with some friends; Lisa sporting a pillbox hat covered in rhinestones, and carrying my precious Giggy. In her interview, Lisa says it was an exhilarating night, getting an award for her LGBTQ legacy. Although sheād thought a legacy happened when you were dead. She asks Dayna about the menu, and Dayna gets everything right. Lisa says sheās lovely, and Dayna tells Brett that sheās stressed out. Brett brings the drinks, and Lisa asks how itās going. He says, well, and asks how she is. She says sheās been working out. In her interview, she says itās energizing having someone absolutely effing gorgeous, whoās attentive to her. All she has to do is pay him $100 an hour. If she worked there, and didnāt have to do sit-ups, it would be perfect. She tells him the security situation will be overwhelming for Pride. Brett asks Ken if he wants to work out, but Ken says he doesnāt want to show Brett up.
Max goes over to SUR, and Raquel says she heard James would be DJing at TomTom. Heās super pumped. Dayna asks who left this guy here, and he asks when she gets off work. She tells him, shortly; sheās been serving Lisa. He asks how that is, and she says, terrifying, but she made it through. Lisa says if Dayna stays, sheāll be manager before she knows it. Sheās smart, confident, and funny.
In Miami, thereās lots of drinking and dancing. Kristen sidles over, and sits with Stassi. Stassi asks how sheās doing; sh*t got intense and weird. Kristen says sheād like to chalk it up to a weird night, but it wasnāt. She has legit hurt feelings. Stassi doesnāt want to be her friend, and sheās hurt. Stassi says sheās frustrated, and Kristen says she knows her breakup doesnāt look the way they think it should. Stassi says sheād rather Kristen get back together with Carter. She feels like Kristen wants to. In Stassiās interview, she says she doesnāt like Carter, but she loves Kristen. If being with him is what Kristen needs, and could allow them to stop this bullsh*t and be friends, just do it. Stassi tells Kristen that she loves her, and needs Kristen to understand that sheāll be there for her, no matter what. Whatever decision Kristen makes, Stassi will still be her friend. She never wants that to change. Kristen cries, and thanks her.
Jax asks if Brittany is having fun, and she says itās the best bachelorette party ever. In her interview, she says, itās been amazing. She had the best time. We flash back to all the yelling, crying, and angst. She says, there were a couple of bumps, but she had a great time. All of the girls jump into the pool, fully clothed.
Next time, Pride Day, James tells Raquel to screw herself since she missed his set, Scheana insists itās not a jealousy thing, and Dayna asks Scheana if sheās 34 or 16.
šµĀ No Tea Tonightā¦
But Iām sure Iāll need lots of coffee in the morning. Or later this morning. Pesky need for sleep. Oh wait. I might have some tea after all.
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
General Hospital
I missed the very beginning because that guy was still talking, but itās an easy catch-up.
Sonny tells Carly that his dad was chatting up the waitress. It was like he was his old self, and called Sonny son, like he used to. Then everything went to hell. Carly says sheās so sorry, and Sonny asks why sheās still in the ER. She says, Gladys, and Sonny asks if sheās hurt. Carly says, no. Sheās fine, but her son was shot. Brando.
Gladys tells Brando, she knows she said he was dead to her, but she wished she could take back the words a million times. She tried, but he didnāt return her calls. She sits, and says, suddenly, Brando showed up at Sonnyās warehouse. Has he forgiven her?
Carly tells Sonny, the shooting started, and she crawled for cover. The bullets were getting closer, and all of a sudden, a man was there, and shielded her. He got shot, but Carly thought he was one of Sonnyās guys. When the shooting stopped, Gladys came out, went to him, and said his name. She was surprised, and to be honest, Gladys was too. She was really trapped and couldnāt run. That man saved her life.
Brando asks why Gladys is there, and how she got mixed up with Sonny. Sonny comes in, and asks Gladys for some privacy. She starts to protest, but he says, out, please. She goes, and Sonny says, so heās Gladysās son. Brando says, and heās Sonny. Sonny says his family was ambushed, and nearly killed. He wants Brando to tell him what he was doing in the warehouse when it happened.
Gladys tells Carly that Brando is doing well; they had the most wonderful reunion. Carly says Gladys told them that he was dead. She played the grieving mother act to the hilt, when she knew he was alive. Why? Gladys says she shouldnāt have done that; not with Carly and Sonny. Sheās sorry. Carly says she should be, and Gladys says, when Brando came back from the war, he wasnāt himself. Carly says, that happens to a lot of guys, but their mothers donāt go around telling everyone that theyāre dead. Gladys says Brando got mixed up with some bad people, and the truth was embarrassing. It was easier to say he was dead. She told everyone heād been redeployed and killed in Iraq. Carly says Gladys lied about being a gold-star mother; thatās terrible. Gladys agrees, and says she didnāt know where he was or what he was doing with his life. Carly says Brando knew what Gladys was doing with hers, and holds up picture of Gladys and Dev.
Brando tells Sonny that he doesnāt know anything about the ambush. He came looking for his mother. Sonny asks if Gladys told him that she was there, and Brando says, not exactly. He saw her MyFace page, and she said she was staying with Mikeās family. Sonny asks what Brando knows about him and his family, and Brando says, not much. He doesnāt think Sonny knows much about him either. Sonny says Brando came to his place of business, and Brando says when he got to the warehouse, it was under attack. He could see through the door, and saw a woman who was pinned down, so he covered her while she could get to a secure position. Sonny says that was his wife. She said Brando saved her life. Brando says he just reacted, and Sonny says he knows Brando was in the service and was trained well. Brandoās mother told them he was dead. Does he know anything about that?
Michael says his family is under attack, and he has no idea who wants them dead. Jax says, itās because of his fatherās business. Josslyn wonders if Brando knows about Dev. If he doesnāt, he could blow everything. Dev asks if heās getting sent back to Turkey.
Nelle shows up to move in at the Quartermaine mansion, but Brook says Nelle tried to kill Michael; he hates her. Nelle says Michael is confused, and to tell him that sheās there. Brook says, itās late, and Michael is probably out with his girlfriend, but Nelle says Brook is just looking for an excuse to avoid the truth. Brook says, Michael would have told Monica ā itās her house. Nelle says when she was pregnant with Michaelās baby, she and Monica were close, and Monica was nice to her. Brook says she tried to kill Michael. Monica wonāt forgive or forget; no more than the rest of them. Nelle canāt be so delusional that she canāt see how Michael despises her. Even if he forgave her ā and thatās a huge if ā why would she want to live there?
At the hospital, Willow asks Brad, please accept the help. He says sheās concerned about Nelle, but does she hear herself? Willow says, itās not about her; itās about Wiley. Brad has to be strong. Brad says, after everything heās gone through since he and Lucas brought the baby home; heās walked through fire for that kid.
Nikolas tells an unconscious Laura, he was planning revenge on Valentin, when he should have spent the years with her and Spencer. Instead, he turned from everyone he loves, and let darkness in. Now that he finally understands that, it may be too late.
Willow tells Brad, thatās what parents do; theyād do anything for their children. She knows how hard itās been without Lucas. Wileyās kidnapping was scary for all of them, but itās over. Brad says, itās not over. He still has nightmares. He and Lucas took turns sleeping in Wileyās room; they didnāt let him out of their sight. She says she gets it, but Wiley is safe now, and healthy. Brad asks if she thinks thatās enough. Carly is always hovering, and so is Bobbie. She says, theyāre Wileyās family, and they love him. He says, Michael is obsessed. Heās Wileyās godfather, but wants to be his parent. She says Brad should be grateful Michael cares, and he supposes she thinks he should be grateful to her too.
Nelle says, itās just them. Brook doesnāt have to impress her family by making a show of hating her. Brook says she meant every word; Nelle is a gold-digging psycho. Nelle says sheās a grieving widow, whose husband left her 5% of ELQ. It makes sense for them to get along. Michael is. Brook says heās not home, and Nelle can go back to where she came from, and wait there. She opens the door, and Nelle says, she was staying with Brad, but for some reason, Michael thinks itās not the best place for her. Brook says, okay. Now she gets it. She slams the door shut, and says Michael doesnāt want Nelle spending time with Wiley. She canāt say she blames him.
Dev says this is going to be more trouble for Sonny, and itās the last thing Sonny needs. Jax says, Sonny can take care of himself, and Michael says, thereās no point in speculating. Josslyn says, it will just made a bad situation worse, and Michael says his dad is handling it. They need to sit tight, and theyāll get through it. He goes out to the terrace where Sasha is waiting. She says she was checking the news about the shooting, but itās just clips repeating what they already know. He says if thereās any news, his mom will call, and Sasha ask how Carly is. Michael says, considering she just got shot at, he guesses sheās okay. Sasha says, how about him, or was that dumb question? Michael says itās not, and he isnāt. Sasha says, talk to her, and Michael says they need to stop seeing each other.
Gladys asks how Carly got the photo, and Carly says, from the bag of Brandoās belongings. Gladys gets excited, and asks if Carly knows what that means. Brando was looking for her on social media. He cares about her. Carly asks why Gladys was on social media, and Gladys says Carly and Sonny made her feel like part of a family, so she wanted to post updates about her, Mike, and Dev. She loves saying sheās Devās grandmother, and guesses she just wanted everyone to see how happy she was. Carly asks if she was secretly hoping Brando would see, and Gladys admits, the family made her feel so good, maybe she did want him to see. Carly says, he did, and Gladys says she hadnāt heard from him in so long, she figured it was too late. She was surprised to see him.
Brando tells Sonny that he and Gladys havenāt talked years. Sonny asks, why? and Brando says they had one helluva fight. He left Bridgeport, and never looked back. He checked Gladyās MyFace page once in a while, and saw she was staying with Sonny. She posted pictures of her and some kid she said was her grandson, but he never had children. Who is he?
Dev gets that itās all his fault, but Josslyn says, itās not his fault; itās Gladysās. She lied to them. Jax says he blames Sonny. On the terrace, Sasha asks if Michael is breaking up with her. He says his family is being targeted, and Devās father showing up makes it harder. They have no idea who the enemy is. She asks what it has to do with her, and he says he doesnāt want her in any more danger. They need to go their separate ways. Sasha says, no; they donāt.
Carly asks if Gladys didnāt expect Brando to show up, and Gladys says itās been years since they were in contact. She said harsh things that he took at face value. He left a hole in her heart, and when Sonny showed up, she got to heal. Doing a good deed grew her heart. Carly says, Sonny is paying her, but Gladys says, that didnāt keep her heart from swelling. She never should have shut Brando out her life. Carly asks why she did.
Sonny says he and Brando will talk about his mother later. Where did he go after Bridgeport? Brando says, Chicago was his last stop before Port Charles. Sonny asks if he brought any luggage, and Brando says itās at the motel where heās staying. His turn. Whoās the kid? His mom says itās her grandson. Sonny tells him not to worry about that right now. Brando saved his wifeās life. Heās going to get the best care possible. Just rest.
Gladys says she told Carly already, but Carly wants to know why she feels like thereās more to the story. Gladys says, whatās important is that Brando came back; she wants to concentrate on that. Sonny joinsĀ them, and says she has other things to concentrate on. Like how her son is here and alive. She says sheās sorry she lied to him, and he says, more than once. He doesnāt tolerate people lying.
Brad says Willow is just another problem. Donāt think he doesnāt see whatās behind it every time she deals with Wiley. Sheās fantasizing about raising him herself. Sheās made it clear that she doesnāt think heās a good father. She says, maybe not. He hasnāt spoken one word against Nelle.
Brook says just because Michael doesnāt want Nelle with Wiley, doesnāt mean she has to stay there. Carly owns the MetroCourt. Nelle says sheād rather go back to Brad than stay in Carlyās hotel. She would think Brooke sympathizes. Brook says she thinks wrong. Nelle says she heard Carly led Brook astray, encouraging her to get in between Lulu and Dante. When it went south, she let Brook take the blame. Brook says, so Nelle thought theyād team up to take Carly down? It was a long time ago, and theyāve all moved on. Nelle asks how she can be so unfeeling? Nelle lost her kidney and her baby, and went to prison. Now, the Quartermaines refuse to recognize that she has a stake in ELQ. Brook doesnāt know what itās like for all the Quartermaines to be against her. Brook says, Nelle doesnāt know what itās like, but she will.
Nikolas tells Laura, it took her being shot to shake him up, and Spencer and Luluās anger. He shouldnāt have let them slip away just so he could discover heās a vengeful and greedy man. He missed her every day. He wants to do better, be better, but he needs her to tell him that she forgives him. Without that, without her⦠Laura opens her eyes and says, Nikolas.
Willow asks what is it with Brad and Nelle? Why does he keep protecting her? He says, theyāre friends, and Willow says she gets it. The pressure is getting to him, and heās having a breakdown. He needs help. He says heās fine, but she says the only person who can help him is a real friend; her, Michael, or Julian. But who does he leave Wiley with? Nelle. He says he can take care of his son on his own. Thereās nothing she can do.
Gladys tells Sonny that she didnāt want to lie. She was so used to telling people that Brando was dead, in a way, it was like he was dead. Sonny says, but heās alive. He says Gladys is going to tell Brando that some lady showed up and claimed he was Devās father. Gladys says, Brando always had a lot of girlfriends. Sonny says, one more thing. If she even mentions to Brando that heās protecting Dev, sheās going to regret it. Understand? She thanks him, and asks if she can see her boy now. Sonny nods, and Gladys goes back into Brandoās room. Carly asks if thinks it will work, and Brando will believe it. Sonny says heās not saying anything until he finds out who Brando is, and why heās there. She asks what Brando said, and he says, not much. She says, Gladys was vague on details too, and he says thatās why he doesnāt trust either of them. But he canāt concentrate on that now. Heās got to figure out who targeted his family. Carly says, and him. They were all almost killed. She hugs him.
Jax says heās glad Josslyn is okay; he loves her. She says she loves him too, and he says heās going to check in and see if Sonny is back. She tells him not to be too hard on Sonny, but he says heās not making that promise. He says goodbye to Dev, and leaves. Dev says Josslynās dad cares about her. He asks if sheās really okay, and she says, thanks to Michael and Dustin. Dev says, it could have gone the other way, and she asks if he was scared for her. He says he was, and he feels bad about the whole thing⦠She says, when he kissed her? and he says he wishes he could take back the way he reacted.
Sasha says she doesnāt think Michael really wants her out of his life. He says heād be lying if he didnāt say his life was better with her in it. This is the start of something bad, and he doesnāt want to drag her in. She says she just went through something bad of her own making, and went through it with the best person she knows. He says he wants to keep her safe, and she says she wants to keep him safe too ā from Nelle, or anyone whoās trying to harm him. He says he doesnāt want her near Nelle, but she says itās her decision. He doesnāt get to choose for her. Does he think sheāll stop worrying about him, and just walk away and get on with her life? He says heās trying to protect her because he loves her. Sheās got news for him; she loves him too. and theyāre going to deal with this together. Consequences be damned. They kiss.
Michaelās phone rings, and he asks what Nelle wants. Nelle says sheās at the Quartermaineās, and Brook wonāt let her stay there. She could go back to Brad and spend time with Wiley. Michael tells her to put Brook on, and Brook says, please tell her that he didnāt tell that crazy bitch she can live there, and he says heāll explain later. Please give her a room. Brook hangs up, and Nelle asks if itās too late to ask Cook to make cherries jubilee for dinner. Brook asks if Nelle knows who else loves cherries jubilee? Her granny. Sheāll put Nelle in the room next to her. Nelle says, Tracy? and Brook says, the one and only. Thereās a bathroom in between the rooms, and sheās sure Tracy will love sharing. Nelle says she wanted a room with a lake view, and Brook says, and disappoint granny? Not a chance. Brook leads Nelle upstairs.
Sasha says, that didnāt sound good, and Michael says she has no idea what sheās getting herself into. She says, as long as theyāre together, they can handle anything, and they kiss.
Willow wishes Brad could see sheās on his side, and asks him to let her help. She can take care of Wiley tonight, and tomorrow, Brad can pull himself together, and figure out what he needs to do to get back on track. Brad asks how many times he has to tell her. Sheās not coming home with him tonight or any other night. Sheās fired.
Nikolas asks how Laura is feeling, and says heāll get the doctor. She tells him, wait. The things he was saying⦠He says she heard him? and she says she loves him. Sheās always going to love him.
Jax calls Carly, and asks if she knows any more about Brando. She says, not a lot. Sonny is still trying to get the truth. Jax says, put him on, but Carly says, itās not a good time. Sonny has his hands full. Jax says heāll wait at the house until theyāre empty. Josslyn tells Dev not to let it bother him. It was a dumb mistake, and after what just happened, itās unimportant. He asks if sheās sure, and she says sheās positive. Dustin told her to write about what happened, and she thinks sheās going to do that now.
Gladys fusses over Brando. He says Sonny treated him like a suspect, but she says, donāt be silly. His bark is worse than his bite. She gets him some water, and he asks who Dev is. She says, his son.
Carly tells Sonny, Jax wants answers about Brando. He says heās going to wait at the house. Sonny says, heāll be waiting a long time; Sonny isnāt going home. He has to find out whoās after his family and why. Carly takes his hand.
Tomorrow, Nelle says sheās not going anywhere, Peter tells Anna that no one can save her, Carly tells Jax that she wonāt be separated from Josslyn indefinitely, and Sonny says something is a problem for him.
āµļøĀ So hereās what happened. Unbeknownst to me, Below Deck was on at 8, because the new Below Deck Sailing Yacht was premiering at 10. When I realized _ as I stared stupidly at the sailing yacht for a few moments ā I cursed my life, and just did a QuickieCap of the new show, and watched the OG at 11:30. Thatās my long way of saying, I messed up, so now I canāt go to bed as early as I would have liked, even though I wrote less. Iāve put them in the order they were aired.
Below Deck
The d*ck cake is presented, and Kevin finds out primary Jemele went to bed. Kate tells Kevin that she doesnāt know if Jemele is coming back, but the others might like to enjoy dessert. Captain Lee says heās not taking a bite. In Kateās interview, she says, it canāt be the first time someone was underwhelmed when Kevin showed them his penis. In the galley, She says Kevin that the primary was too drunk to stay, and just get the plates. He snaps, it was a waste of a day, and she says thatās not her fault. In Kevinās interview, he says, itās the last dessert, and itās embarrassing. He put a lot of effort into the cake, and he looks like an idiot. Kate says it was ordered on the preference sheet, but in his interview, Kevin says heās never been so embarrassed, and can see the evil look from Kate. Sheās an evil bitch. The cake ā which really does look very tasty ā is served. Courtney thinks the whole thing is awkward, but Kevin is overreacting.
Jemele snores in her cabin. Kate says Kevin has been in a weird mood all night, and has been screaming at her. Kevin sits in the tender, grumbling about Kate. Kate admits maybe she should have told him before he brought the cake out. In Simoneās interview, she says the season was a sh*t show, but Kate is enjoying Kevinās embarrassment. Itās defeating when youāve been working so hard. She thinks Kate is vile. Captain Lee bids the guests goodnight.
Ashton calls the deck crew for a meeting. He tells Brian and Rhylee that theyāre on the late shift. He wants to finish strong tomorrow, and says, keep focused. In his interview, he says, in the beginning, he tried to make Rhylee feel included, and give her the voice she felt she lost with Chandler and Ross. I must have missed him doing that. We flash back to Chandler and Ross, and Ashton says, even though Rhylee disrespected him, he doesnāt want to finish with them fighting. He just wants to squash the whole thing. Simone gets a hug from a guest who wishes her the best. In his interview, the captain says the timing of the cake couldnāt have been worse. Itās embarrassing for the last charter. The guests had been having a ball, and enjoying the evening.
Tanner calls his mom, who immediately asks if there are sharks are there. Tanner wonders how she thinks. In his interview, he says he loves his mom; sheās soft and gentle. If she was there, she would ask why everyone is so upset, and tell them, please stop it. Kevin goes back to the galley, and Kate says, itās been a great season. He tells her, eff off. Kate says heās being weird; the cake was gorgeous, and Courtney adds that the guests all ate it. Kevin says he feels like Kate was squishing him down by withholding information. Why would she do that? She asks, why have him stand in front of the guests with his d*ck on a silver platter? He called her a d*ck today, but guess what? Today she wasnāt the d*ck. He says, the cake was, and Kate says he presented it perfectly. He says Kate canāt train her staff to do a beach party by themselves, and she asks if he doesnāt think they can. He says he thinks theyāre more than capable, but for some reason, she goes to the beach. Um⦠I think thatās her prerogative as chief stew. In Simoneās interview, she says sheās secretly enjoying Kevin standing his ground. Karma is a beautiful thing. Apparently, she doesnāt understand what karma is and how it works, since Kevinās not exactly embarrassing Kate. Kate says Kevin is being defensive because he presented his penis poorly, and he says sheās unprofessional. He tells Brian that he just blew Kate off in the galley. Sheās getting on his nerves. In Kevinās interview, he says he wanted to finish on a high note. Frankly, I think Kevin would have done something like that to Kate in a heartbeat, and heās just jealous that he didnāt think of anything that good. Or as appropriate.
Jemele emerges, and her friends tell her about how they were having a serious conversation with the captain at dinner, and in comes this huge d*ck. Jemele says, apparently, she missed out on something. They ask Kate for a side of balls.
Ashton radios Rhylee to meet him on deck. To herself, she says, on my way, pr*ck, but tells him, yes, sir. In Ashtonās interview, he says itās their last night out, and he doesnāt want the same sh*t to happen. We flash back to their altercation in the market, and he says he wants to nip it in the bud. When Rhylee joins him, he hems and haws for a moment, and says itās clear they have differences. He thinks it goes deeper than work. Theyāre two different people, and thatās okay. Who is he? Mr. Rogers? He tells her, itās the end of the season, and he just wants to have a good night. She says she trusts in herself to hold herself accountable for her actions, and wants to end on an enjoyable night. He says theyāre on the same page. In Rhyleeās interview, she says they have nothing to talk about. Itās their last night out, and she doesnāt give a f***.
The captain pulls anchor for the last time, and the boat heads out. Kate serves breakfast, which looks delicious. In Tannerās interview, he says itās their last night, and the odds are in his favor with Kate. Itās the fourth quarter, and they got it. Kevin has made custard buns, and wonders what to do with them, but Kate says, the last meal is over, and goes downstairs. Tanner says, someone has checked out, and Kevin says, someone checked out six weeks ago. In Kateās interview, she says Kevin has made his fair share of large mistakes, and now he tried to embarrass her in front of the stews. He has two styles; a-hole and sleeping. The guests love the breakfast, and Kevin brings out the custard buns. Jemele says he looks like Tom Cruise. Iām not a fan, but Iād still say, maybe a poor manās Tom Cruise. She says, about the cake⦠and apologizes for her absence. She heard he had an incredible d*ck, and he says he didnāt know sheād left. He thanks them, and says theyāre his favorite charter this season. In his interview, he says, itās such a relief to hear when youāre good at what you do. He made an amazing c*ck cake, and it was an amazing way to finish the charter.
Brain tells Courtney that she looks cute with her hair up. In her interview, she says, go away. Stop being cute. Honestly, maybe itās me, but I donāt get the attraction that all the women seem to have for him. He has a banginā bod, but his face and personality is nothing to write home about. Iām not trying to be mean; I just donāt see it. The guests ask for a couple of bottles of champagne, and one of them says sheās living her best life. Kate gets the champagne, and they pop corks and shake the bottles out over the water. A+ for that. Sloppier guests would have just let it spray all over the deck. In Kateās interview, she says Jemele was not her favorite at the beginning. She was the quintessential head mean cheerleader. But she realized she was wrong, and the grace to say it, and Kate respects that. Itās too bad the crew arenāt the same way. I think Kateās personality is misunderstood because sheās not bubbly like a lot of the stews. Personally, I would find bubbly annoying, especially first thing in the morning.
The crew gets into their whites. Kate tells Tanner that heās so cute. The guests pack, and Jemele says itās going to take a month for her to recover. Anchor is dropped, and the captain scares Rhylee with the horn, which seems to be his things this season. Did the other boats not have one, or is he just getting bored? He calls everyone to the aft deck, and tells Kate that heās savoring the last goodbye. Jemele says they thought everyone was amazing, and hopefully the tip reflects their value. They were all awesome. The guests leave, and Kate suggests they all jump off the boat right now.
Time for the tip meeting. Captain Lee says they made it. Itās the first time he didnāt need to terminate someone, and that says a lot. He tells them that they performed remarkably well. The tip is⦠$20K, or $1800 each. Yes! Finally. He says their total for the season was $154K; $7146 each. In Kateās interview, she says, itās a good amount of money; they made it through the gauntlet. It wasnāt an easy season, but the tips make working with Kevin almost worth it. The captain tells them, tonight, a full moon party on a private beach has been arranged for them. In her interview, Kate says she doesnāt know what a full moon party is, but it sounds like a rave on the beach with a full moon. She never paid attention to the moon when she was at a rave, and doesnāt know what to expect.
The boat is cleaned, and laundry folded. Kate calls Rhylee, asking her to come to the pantry. Kate pours champagne for the girls. She says, itās like a friendship bracelet, but better. In her interview, she says sheās never had a season where it was guys versus girls. The girls became extra bonded because the guys were such a-holes. In Simoneās interview, she tells us that she has a lot of things to say to Kate, but sheās not doing it. She just wants to say goodbye. The guys jump off the boat, and have a beer on deck. Courtney doesnāt know if she has anything more to say to Brian. Theyāve basically been avoiding each other, and she has nothing to say. Theyāre not getting back together, and will probably never see each other again. Theyāre friendly, but itās just weird.
Everyone gets ready to go out. The guys have shots. Tanner says itās his last night, and he knows heās having fun. Heās ready to effing go. The crew gets on a tender, and heads for shore. Brain and Ashton talk bro stuff, and Courtney tells Kate Ā that she was in their way. The beach looks amazing; itās all done up like some awesome, weird carnival. There are ladyboys and girls in practically nothing, fire dancers and fire eaters, a private cabana, lots of liquor, and giant letters of fire spelling out MY VALOR. In her interview, Kate says, itās a reason to drink alcohol and make bad decisions in the dark. Simone gets on a tree swing. The fire eater/dancers put on a show, and a guy twirls sticks with fire on each end. Kevin jumps over some of the fire letters, and by some miracle, manages not to get hurt. On the boat, Captain Lee does some ironing.
Brian gazes at Courtney, and finally sits next to her. He says he doesnāt want to end things on a bad note. Itās a little awkward, but he had fun with her. The whole season was about her. He doesnāt know what to do, and asks what she wants to do. She says, about what? and he says, just leave it as it is? She says, okay, and he says he was asking a question. She tells him that heās full of sh*t, and then kisses him. In her interview, she says she just wants to end the season nicely. Kate tells Rhylee, Brian unleashed his secret weapon; he took his shirt off. Tanner sits with them, and Kate says heās a breath of fresh drunken air.
In Ashtonās interview, he says he wants no negative feelings or regrets. Heās going to be a good boy. Kate, Rhylee, Simone, and Kevin take a selfie. Kevin says they had a good run, and Kate says he was a pain in the ass sometimes. He says the big mess up was when she stopped caring. They could all feel it. She asks if he thinks sheās not a good chief stew, and he says he doesnāt. She says she thinks heās not good yacht chef either. Heās just a baker. He says she doesnāt know all about food, and Tanner says Kevin did a great job. He tells Kate, sorry, and she asks what Kevin did that was phenomenal. Kevin says Kate has nothing to back it up, and Kate leaves. Tanner tells Kevin that he was trying to defend him. Rhylee tells Simone that she thinks Kate feels vulnerable, but Simone says sheāll think things are okay between them, and then Kate says something thatās a jab. Tanner, Kevin, and some unidentified guy have shots. On the boat, the captain picks up an empty Greygoose bottle and calls it a dead soldier.
Tanner stumbles around after Kate, who keeps changing location. Rhylee chants, get it, get it, get it. Tanner tells Kate that heās wanted to kiss her all day. She says heās an idiot. HA-HA-HA! She tells him that he said Kevin was right. Itās never going to happen; sheās a lesbian. Sheās getting more lesbian by the second, the more he talks. She tells him, get over it, and leaves. In Simoneās interview, she says she doesnāt have to deal with this sh*t anymore; sheās happy. Itās amazing that she can now wash her hands clean, and get on with the rest of her life.
Kevin kicks sand at Kate as he goes by. She says he got sand in her eyes. Brian tells him to say heās sorry, and Kevin says, eff off. It doesnāt matter what happens. Then the subtitles tell us that Kevin says, I walrahrahrah. Kate wakes up Ashton, and tells him they have to go. He rounds up everyone, and they get back in the tender. Brian says this was the best experience of his life, and Kate says, except for the sand in her face. He tells her not to worry, and she asks if heās sh*tting her. In his interview, Brian says, even though Kate is who she is, you donāt kick sand in someoneās face. He still thinks Kate is overeating. Itās what she does best.
When they get to the dock, Kate gives them the finger, says, eff off, and jets back to the Valor. Kevin tries to run on the dock, and Ashton stops him. When they get inside, Ashton tells Kevin that he has to cook now, and he also has a whole beach on his ass. Kate gives the camera the finger before she closes her cabin door. We see Kevinās naked butt, which I never want to see again. He wraps his nakey self in a towel, and Ashton tells him, go to bed. Iām not quite sure what Kevin does under that towel, but I think it has something to do with a sparkler, since Brian says heās going out with a bang, and they all die laughing. Tanner says, Jiminy Cricket, and Courtney leads Brian to the guest room.
Itās the final day. Tanner says heās staying drunk so he doesnāt get a hangover. Heās still wasted. Kevin smiles at Kate, and she asks, why? He says heās happy theyāre getting off the boat. She says he kicked sand in her eye, but he insists he didnāt. She says, he did, and in his interview, he says he doesnāt remember doing it, but if he did, it was for a reason. She called him a sh*tty yacht chef. Tanner tries to get information out of Brian, who wonāt kiss and tell. In his interview, he tells us to use our imagination. Kate tells Rhylee that Kevin didnāt bother to apologize. In Simoneās interview, she says Tanner is a child, and thatās a problem, but she might call him in the future. Not like that, but possibly platonic. She thinks saying goodbye to Kate is disingenuous. She did learn a valuable lesson; to be self-reliant. She wants to continue in yachting, and get more experience. Tanner asks if Kate wants a quickie, but she says, no. In his interview, Tanner says it makes him stay humble. In Kateās interview, she says she doesnāt regret that they didnāt hook up, but if theyāre ever in the same zip code, itās a sure thing. Tanner tells Captain Lee, itās the best job he ever had, and the captain tells him, be safe. Tanner says heāll see them on the flipside.
Ashton tells Brian, it worked out nicely. Brian says, the drama washed away. Courtney is a cool chick, and heās going to miss her. Ashton says, well done, bru, which is now like nails on a blackboard to me. Brian thanks Courtney for being so amazing. In her interview, Courtney says, saying goodbye to Brian is bittersweet. They had an easy friendship. When she gets back home, she wants to go out to a nice dinner thatās not pad Thai. She stops to play with a dog on the dock. Kevin thanks Captain Lee, who says he did an outstanding job. In his interview, Kevin says he knows where he wants to be now. Heās ready to go home to his daughter, take her on holiday, and go back to cooking food. He says, there are only so many fake apologies he can give to Kate. He walks out without saying goodbye. Kate says, goodbye, Thailand. Itās over. Itās the final straw.
Kate calls out, bye, Kevin. See you never. She tells Rhylee, Kevin didnāt even say goodbye, and Rhylee says, heās a pr*ck. These people are a-holes. In Brianās interview, he says itās been a roller coaster ride, but in the end, he pulled through. Heās staying in yachting, and eventually becoming a captain. When he sees his daughter, he can relax. Rhylee says, seeing Ashton is going to be awkward, and Kate tells her, be civil; itās over. Rhylee says, one day youāll be a great bosun? but Kate says, thatās not civil. She tells Rhylee, no matter what anyone says, sheās a great asset. In Rhyleeās interview, she says she doesnāt know if itās the yachting world, or itās her in the yachting world, but sheās thankful for Kate. Without Kate in her corner, she might not have stuck it through. She says goodbye to Captain Lee, and tells Ashton, itās that time. In her interview, she says sheās not disappointed in her behavior. She showed reserve, and sheās proud of it. She tells Ashton that she appreciates him tolerating her, and he says, all the best. In Rhyleeās interview, she says sheās going to keep yachting in her back pocket, but right now sheās going back to Alaska and a fishing charter. Sheās going to slay it, and not think twice about Ashton.
Kate guzzles a beer in the galley. In Ashtonās interview, he says he and Kate are leaving on good terms. They had two big fights, and he thinks she crossed department boundaries. She disrespected him, and heās disappointed in the situation. Heās glad to say goodbye. In Kateās interview, she says their goodbye was like their other interactions during the season; civil, but fake. Ashton tells Captain Lee, itās been quite a year, and the captain compliments Ashtonās nice farmer tan, saying he has to even that sh*t out. Ashton thanks him for the bosun position, and guiding him through it. Captain Lee says Ashton had to grow, and he grew a lot. In his interview, Ashton says it was his first season as bosun, and he learned a lot. The captain tells him, no sailor ever learned anything in calm seas. In his interview, Ashton says there were things he could have handled better, but he learned heās capable. Heās going to spend some time with Ross in Florida, then join a crew with no redheads.
Kate and Captain Lee hug. She tells him, chalk up another one. They made it again. Sheās going to miss the boat. She says sheāll see him around Florida. He says, itās been a slice, and she says, always is. In Kateās interview, she says, it was a personally challenging season. Sheās going to spend a week alone at a resort, then head back to Florida, pack up her life, and move to New York. Sheās scared to move there, but she was scared to start yachting. She needs a new adventure.
Captain Lee says, he doesnāt know what it is about Thailand, but he still has best goddam job in the world.
Next time, the Reunion, and it looks like a doozie. Otherwise, Iād be completely bummed this season is over.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht
Captain Glenn of the Parsifal III, explained that he, deckhand Paget, and stew Ciara were a core family, and heād brought Paget and Ciara in during the off-season. In her interview, Ciara said she and Paget had been friends, moved in together to save money, and then decided to date. Ciara never went to a conventional school, and grew up on a sailboat. While sheās technically a stew, Captain Glenn decided to put her on deck. Since she and Paget have never worked in the same department, this should prove interesting, as well as a test of their relationship. Chef Adam ā a transfer from Below Deck Mediterranean ā told us heās spent a solid year driving around in a van with his dog, and cooking over an open flame. His jam is focusing on food and being single, and he assured us that he was still the same a-hole, d*ckhead (his words). Jenna, the chief stew from Canada, said she came up like a Navy SEAL, has high standards, and expects everything should be perfect. Second stew Madison told us that she was made for yachting, and is like the Energizer Bunny, living on candy and caffeine. She tries not to overwhelm people with her energy. She had been a competitive figure skater, and said sheād transferred her work ethic to sailing. Georgia is the third stew from South Africa, but said her British mother gave her and her siblings fake British accents. She gets more British when she drinks, and becomes the Queen of England by midnight. Chief engineer Byron (love that name!) is married with a young daughter, and finally, deckhand Parker said he grew up sailing, and was confident on smaller boats. This is his dream job.
In a first meeting, Jenna told the stews that sheās forward and direct, but not a bitch, which remains to be seen. She said she didnāt mind the stews having opinions, but didnāt want to be challenged, telling them, give it a few days. In her interview, she said she didnāt expect to be a mom, and her primary focus was on the guests, not whether the crew feels happy or loved. Adam remarked that the boat had been sitting on the dock too long, and looked like Ciara and Pagetās apartment. I donāt know what their apartment looks like, but if the boat is any indication, theyāre both bad at housekeeping.
Captain Glenn told the crew that heās laid back, and likes the crew to run their own departments. If anyone had a problem, they were to go to the department head first before going to him. In Adamās interview, he said it was a welcome change, since heād been under Captain Sandyās thumb on Below Deck Med, and we flashed back to some of that. The captain added that he was also hands-on when it came to pitching in with work, but didnāt like fixing things in front of guests. Jenna made it clear that she was looking for attention to detail. If the a stew is paying attention, she knows she can trust them. In Georgiaās interview, she said she was never properly trained, but would love to have someone tell her if sheās doing it right.
During the preference sheet meeting, the captain told Paget, Jenna, and Adam that their first guests would be Alan and Jennifer. Alan had been a high level software engineer at Apple before retiring. Their daughter and friend Peyton would also be joining them, as well as friends Guy and Alessia, who were getting married just before the trip. They were looking to do some adventurous activities, and sailing. I guess theyāre in the right place for the latter. Jenna said the boat looked like it had been boarded by pirates, and there were trash bags everywhere. In his interview, Paget said he didnāt want Ciara and himself to be that couple cuddling in the corner. Madison told Jenna about her five drunk tattoos, and in her interview, said she tries to be responsible when sheās drunk by keeping the tattoos to areas not normally seen. Then she pulled out her lower lip to show us MEOW inside, and said she didnāt like cats. Iām not even sure what to say about that. Everyone agreed the boat was a sh*t show, but somehow managed to get it cleaned up, and got on their green polos for greeting the guests.
Everyone counted only four people coming up the boardwalk, and Guy said their friends had been delayed, but were taking a plane in from Athens. It was the same routine as on a regular yacht, with the guests being greeted with warm towels and champagne, and the chief stew giving a tour. The boat is gorgeous, but of course, not as palatial as the motor yachts. Captain Glenn did enlighten us that sailboats have motors, without which it would be difficult to get in and out of port. The captain was impressed at how easily they got off the dock, but said the true test would be when they set the sails up. And unlike a motor yacht, everything loose has to be secured.
Jenna told Adam that sheād been engaged once, and he said he had been engaged once too. She asked what happened, and he said, yachting. In her interview, Jenna said her past ten relationships had been unhealthy ones. She always goes for the wrong people, and wanted to find her person. It didnāt take long before there was a major problem ā no steak knives on board. Damn. Even I have steak knives. Adam said serving steak with improper cutlery in a fine dining scenario was the worst of the worst.
Alessia and Guy arrived by tender, and told everyone that theyād missed their own wedding because they never got to Vegas. In Jennaās interview, she says sheās not the one getting married, but the person who is going to get screwed is her. Guy asked if the captain couldnāt marry them, and did he have an Elvis outfit.
This season, Madison says the sh*t is going to hit fan while theyāre sailing, horrible guests, Adam and Jenna hook up (!), Jenna is told she has an attitude problem, someone (it looks like Parker) is on thin ice, and Parker asks if Paget thinks itās funny that heās still being breastfed. What? Please tell me that was the TV equivalent of clickbait.
āļø I donāt know if Iām going to love this show the way I do the others ā the OG Below Deck being my forever favorite. This captain is a little too laid back for me, but the close quarters should make for some interesting drama, and the clip of those horrible guests was intriguing. In other words, the jury is still out.
(rambling, random thoughts & annoyingly detailed recaps from real time TV watching)
šĀ And we’re back.
General Hospital
At the warehouse, Carly asks if Jordan can get the ambulance there faster, and Gladys tries to comfort Brando. Jason has shown up, and Jordan asks if he can tell her what happened.
Josslyn is at the hospital, where Chase asks if she can retrace her steps for him. Josslyn says she went to the pier because sheād left her journal behind. Thatās when she saw the shooter. Chase asks if he was headed for Sasha and Michael, and Josslyn says he was, but she thinks it was really Michael he wanted, and she had to warn him. If she hadnāt, the shooter would have killed him. Chase says Michael is lucky to have such a brave sister. She saved his life.
Michael arrives at Sonnyās, and asks a guard how everything is. The guard says, no sign of trouble, and Michael says Sonny is taking Mike back to Turning Woods. He wonders how things are at the warehouse, but the guard says Tony hasnāt checked in. Michael says he hasnāt heard from his mom either. Dev comes in, and asks, whatās going on? The place is crawling with guards and he canāt go anywhere. Michael tells him, something bad went down.
Finn tells Nikolas that itās terrible to have forced Hayden to abandon her child. Nikolas says he never intended it to go there, but Finn says, he did. His greed cost Violet her mother. Nikolas says, temporarily; Hayden will come back. Finn asks if heās supposed to take Nikolasās word for it because heās a prince. Finn says Nikolas thinks heās gotten away with it, but promises he wonāt.
Jax thanks Elizabeth for taking care of his daughter, but she says she didnāt do much. He says he appreciates it anyway, and heās sorry for what Nikolas did to Hayden. Jax regrets enabling him. Elizabeth asks what Nikolas did, but Chase interrupts. He thanks Jax for letting Josslyn answer questions, and says he might have some follow-up. Jax tells him to call any time, and he says Jaxās daughter is a brave young woman. However, Jax should have a talk with her about the difference between brave and reckless. He moves on, and Elizabeth tells Jax that whatever he has to say can wait; Josslyn needs him. He says it kills him that Hayden canāt be with Violet, and she says, thanks to Valentin. He says, Valentin isnāt the one who forced Hayden into hiding.
Ava tells Valentin that criminals who get off on bail often go on to convictions. He says she inspires him. How many times has she been charged with murder, and beat the conviction? Nina says, enough, and Valentin says heās made mistakes, but loving her isnāt one of them. Heās not stopping until he gets back everything he lost.
Gladys tells the EMTs, please help. They canāt let her son die. An EMT says theyāre ready to move, and Gladys says sheāll ride with him. Jordan tells her, go ahead; an officer will take her statement later. Carly says sheās going too, and asks Jason to tell Michael that sheās okay. Jordan tells Jason that she got an update from the NYPD. Sonny was the intended target in the Brooklyn shooting. On the pier, it was Michael, and then they have the warehouse. The coordinated attacks begin with him.
Dev asks if Josslyn is okay, and Michael says, sheās fine. Dev asks why she didnāt come back, and Michael tells him, sheās at GH; her father wanted her checked out. Dev says, thank God no one was hurt, and Sasha thinks Michael should tell him the rest. Dev says, thereās more? but Michaelās phone rings. Itās Jason, who asks if Michael is okay. Michael says, he, Sasha, and Josslyn are fine, but Laura was shot; sheās in the hospital. Jason tells him about the warehouse being targeted, and Michael says his mom was there. Jason says she wasnāt hit, but she went with Gladys to hospital. A guy was shot, and theyāre riding with him. but he doesnāt have any more details. Michael says heās got it, and Jason says the police are there. Heāll call when he knows more. Jordan says Jason might express his gratitude by cooperating for once.
Valentin tells Nina that he misses her. All he thinks about is that they belong together. Ava tells Nina not to humor this nonsense. Valentin doesnāt know what she needs. Nina says, everyone thinks they know what she needs today, and asks what Valentin wants. He says, her. He always wants her, and deep down, she feels the same way. They can work it out. She says, itās over, but he says he doesnāt believe that. They had a life at Windymere; her, him, and Charlotte. She says the life they had there is long gone. Doesnāt he get it? She was in it with Ava. Valentin needs to get it through his head that she helped them take him down.
Jax tells Elizabeth that Nikolas recruited him to help get him back to Port Charles, where he knew there was a document that could reinstate him as heir. He recruited Hayden as well; her job at Aurora was just a front. They were both helping Nikolas. Valentin caught on, and targeted Hayden, pressuring her for information. Elizabeth says Hayden must have thought she had no other option than to leave Violet. Jax says, itās not that simple. Valentin offered Hayden money for information. Nikolas found out about it, and wanted to get her out of town before she talked. Nikolas staged the attack that forced Hayden to leave. Elizabeth says, he wouldnāt do that, but Jax says, he did. Hayden was an impediment in his plan, and he moved her out of the way. Elizabeth says Jax knew? and Jax says he found out after Hayden disappeared. He confronted Nikolas, who told him everything. He tried to reach out to Hayden, but her phone is off, and he has no way to trace her. Elizabeth says she canāt believe Nikolas would do this to Hayden and Violet. Separating a mother from her child is despicable. Nikolas approaches, and Elizabeth cracks him one across the face. Heās been getting a lot of that lately.
Jason tells Jordan, the Brooklyn shooter is dead, and she says, Jason killed him. She talked to the NYPD, and knows what happened. Surprisingly, Jason wouldnāt talk without his attorney being present, but the waitress exonerated him, and the NYPD is satisfied it was self-defense. She is too. She knows thereās no way Jason wanted a gunfight in the middle of a restaurant. Jason says, no, he didnāt, and she wonders who targeted them in Brooklyn. Who knew theyād be there?
Elizabeth asks Nikolas what he did to Hayden, and Nikolas supposes he has Jax to thank. Jax wisely says heāll give them some space, and jets. Nikolas says he was going to tell Elizabeth, and she says Hayden helped him pull off his plan, and this is how he repays her? How could he do this to her? Him, of all people. Valentin tore him away from Spencer, and forced him into hiding, and he did the same thing to Hayden. Nikolas says he never intended for it to be more than a few days. He thought Hayden would check in. He didnāt know she was going to make herself unreachable. Elizabeth says Violet means everything to Hayden, and he convinced Hayden to leave to protect Violet. He knows Hayden doesnāt do things halfway. Sheās disappeared without a trace, and they have no way of finding her to tell her itās all a lie, staged by her friend Nikolas. She says he has to go find Hayden. Her daughter needs her.
Jax lets Finn know that he told Elizabeth the truth. Finn asks if he wants a thank you, but Jax says, no. He regrets his part in it. If heād known what Hayden was going to do, he would have stopped Nikolas. He asks how Violet is, and Finn says, itās hard coming up with excuses when Violet asks for her mother. What would Jax tell Josslyn if Carly disappeared? Elizabeth tells Finn that heās needed in the ER. A second shooting victim has been brought in.
Several of Sonnyās guards are in the hospital waiting area, and Chase asks if one of them is visiting a patient. The guard says nothing, and Chase says he didnāt think so. The PCPD is providing security, so they can go. The guard doesnāt move, and Chase says if he and his boys donāt leave voluntarily, heās going to arrest them. He thinks Mr. Corinthos has had enough trouble today, and sure as hell doesnāt need more. Sonnyās security team leaves.
Dev is obviously upset, and Michael tells him that he needs to calm down; it will be okay. Dev asks how he knows, and Michael says he doesnāt, but Dev canāt imagine the worst. Josslyn, Carly, and Sonny are safe. Dev asks what they do now, and Michael says, wait it out. If Dev wants to do something to help, he can be with Avery. Michael suggests Dev watch a movie with her; make sure she feels safe. Dev says he can do that, and goes upstairs. Sasha asks if Michael really thinks that will calm Dev down, and Michael says, it will make him feel less afraid. He and Morgan used to do it with Josslyn. She says, comforting Dev seems like second nature, and wonders how many times heās done it before. He says, calm someone down? and she says, or explain away someone trying to kill him.
Ava says sheās confused as to why Valentin is still there. He heard Nina; thereās nothing left there for him. He says Ava doesnāt speak for Nina, and Ava says, nor does he. Heās deceived her time and time again. Now beat it. She and Nina have important things to discuss. Valentin asks Nina to hear him out, and she asks, whatās left to say? He says he loves her. Nothing heās done was with malice. He can still make her happy. Ava says heās delusional. He thinks if he says he acted out of love, it will absolve him of the lies and betrayal. In reality, the sad truth is, he doesnāt know the first damn thing about love.
Josslyn comes out of the ER with Jax, and sees Gladys, who says, itās nice to see a familiar face. Jax asks, whatās going on? and Gladys says, itās such a disaster. She doesnāt know what to do or how to help. Josslyn says sheās helping just by showing up; it will be okay. Gladys tells her, thatās sweet to say, but she canāt relax until she hears it from the doctor. She saw her boy, lying there shot and bleeding. Jax asks who sheās talking about, and she says her boy Brando. He got shot saving Carlyās life. Carly joins them, and hugs Josslyn, saying she was so worried, and asking if Josslyn is okay. Jax says Josslyn got the all clear, and Josslyn says sheās allowed to leave. Carly says, thank God no one was hurt, and Josslyn says she didnāt hear. Carly says, hear what? and Josslyn says, Michael was with Laura on the pier, and Lauraās been shot. Gladys says, this night is getting worse and worse. Carly tells Jax and Josslyn that Gladysās son saved her life. They had to stop by the warehouse, and suddenly some guys started shooting. The bodyguard got Gladys into the office, but Carly was stuck outside with bullets flying. A guy showed up, and pulled her to safety. Gladys says her boy is a hero, but he got shot. Carly says, itās not bad; heāll make a full recovery, but Gladys says, he lost a lot of blood. She canāt lose her son; he canāt die. Josslyn says, heās in great hands, and Jax says heās glad heās okay, but whatās going on? Carly says, itās all a mess, and he asks where Sonny is. He saw Sonnyās bodyguard there. Carly says heās getting Mike settled back in Turning Woods. There were two attacks out of town. Obviously, someone is making a move against Sonny, and Jason is talking to the cops at the warehouse.
Sasha tells Michael, sheās not naĆÆve. Itās not like she hasnāt heard who Sonny is. Michael asks if itās a problem now, and Sasha says, after he nearly got killed, it might be. He says he knows itās awful, and wishes she didnāt have to go through this. She says sheās terrified, and he says she has a right to be. Heās experienced things like this before, and learned how to handle a crisis like this. She asks if there will be more, and he tells her, itās hard to say. His father is a powerful business man, and gets unwanted attention from time to time, but itās Sonnyās business, not his. Sasha says either the gunman didnāt know that or didnāt care. He didnāt see Michael Corinthos, the head of ELQ; he saw a target. If not for Josslyn coming back, he could have died in front of her. She doesnāt think she can go through that again. He holds her, and says, itās okay. She wonāt have to.
Chase joins Jordan at the warehouse, and she says Tony was just taking her through what happened. She asks Tony to tell her again, and Tony says, it was a normal afternoon. A shipment of beans had just come in. They were offloaded, and the workers were gone.Carly stopped by to drop off some paperwork, and brought Devās grandmother with her. Gladys wandered off, and Tony went after her; thatās what the shooting started. Jordan says, he saw it begin? and he says he put Gladys in the office, and returned fire. Carly was pinned down, and there was no way for him to reach her. Chase asks if it occurred to them to call the police, and Tony says they were a little busy. Jordan tells Tony, continue, and Tony says, the gunfire came closer, and was about to reach Carly, when this guy swooped in to cover her. Jordan says, Brando, and Tony says he didnāt recognize the guy, but he must be a professional the way he covered Carly and got her to a more secure location. The gunmen shot at them until they ran out of ammunition, then took off. Jordan says, they shoot up a warehouse thatās the property of a powerful alleged mob kingpin, and just leave?
Tony says he doesnāt know what to tell her. The gunmen were shooting, then they were gone. Chase arrives, and she asks if Tony minds retracing his steps again with Chase. Tony says, no, and Jordan tells them to get started while she talks to Jason outside. She and Jason step out of the warehouse, and Jordan says, hypothetically speaking, if there was an attack on a warehouse, would the shooters run out of ammunition and leave? Either theyāre the most incompetent gunman ever, or Tony isnāt telling the whole story. Jason says he wasnāt there; he canāt say. She says, of course (š·) not. She admires him on some level. Heās raised non-incrimination to an artform. Taggert shows up, and says he knows from past experience how uncooperative Sonny and his associates can be. She says tell her about it.
Jax tells Carly that heāll take Josslyn to his place, but she asks him to take Josslyn back to Sonnyās. Itās well-protected, and Michael, Dev, and Avery are there. It will make Josslyn feel better ā and her. Jax says, Brando saved her life; impressive for a supposed dead guy. Carly tells him that she doesnāt know why Gladys lied, or if it really is Brando, but sheās sticking around. She wants to find out why Brando got dragged in, or if he was involved with the whole thing.
Valentin tells Ava, before Nina, he didnāt know trust or love. He thought love led to misery and unhappiness. He supposes he wasnāt far off, but he didnāt know the big picture; the joy and connection of knowing someone completely. Of having someone love him back, without judgement. He didnāt know what it was like, but he does now. Ava says heās just wasting his breath. He says Ava doesnāt know a thing about love. Thatās why sheās easy to manipulate. Ava asks what heās talking about, and Nina says sheās trying to do a job. Both of them need to leave. Ava says she has some redecorating to do in her castle, and Valentin says, good luck with that. Ava says Valentinās taste is ostentatious and pretentious, which makes sense, since he was pretending to be a Cassadine. Not to worry. Sheāll have the place spruced up in no time. Nikolas walks in, and she adds, with the help of her husband. Nina says she has to make a change in security. She canāt take anymore. Nikolas says he figured Valentin would weasel his way out of jail, so he took the liberty of drawing up some paperwork. He hands Valentin an envelope.
Valentin takes the papers out, and says, itās a restraining order. Nikolas says to keep him far away from Windymere, and adds, keep reading. Valentin says, nice of Nikolas to arrange a DNA test. Nikolas says Valentin can refuse, and heāll petition the court for an order, but that will be a clear indication that Valentin is not a Cassadine. Valentin says Nikolas doesnāt see it; heās so caught up in revenge. Helena is playing him. She set him up from beyond the grave. She left a trail of breadcrumbs to what he wants most ā to be the prince ā but Valentin is the rightful heir. Valentin Mikkosovich Cassadine. Nikolas is the punchline to Helenaās last pathetic joke.
Gladys tells Carly that she canāt stand waiting, but Carly is sure Brando is having excellent care. GH has the best doctors in the state. Gladys says, Brando has always been brave, with no thought to his own safety. Carly says sheās grateful Gladysās son saved her life⦠Gladys says, but? Say what sheās thinking. Carly says Gladys told them that Brando was dead. Why say that when she knew he was alive? Finn comes out, and Gladys says sheās Brandoās mother. She asks how her son is, and Finn says, heās stable. The bullet passed clean though. Gladys says, prayer is working, and he tells her, keep it up. The bullet missed all key organs and arteries. Gladys asks if she can see him, and Finn says, of course (š·). Gladys goes inside, and Carly thanks Finn. Finn says he was just doing his job. Whoever bandaged Brando on the scene did good. Carly says, thanks, and he says heāll make sure she gets updates.
Elizabeth leaves the bag with Brandoās personal effects at the reception desk.
Josslyn goes back to Sonnyās, and Dev hugs her, practically knocking her over. He says Michael told him what happened; he was worried. Michael says he told Dev she was all right, but Dev says he had to see for himself. Jax says Sonny has enough security guards to start a football team. Sasha tells Josslyn that she didnāt get a chance to thank her. If she hadnāt called out, things could have ended differently. She saved Michaelās life. Michael agrees she did, and Josslyn says he owes her big time. Jax tells her to get some rest, but she says sheās not doing anything until her mom gets home. Jax says Carly and Gladys are fine, but whatever happened at the warehouse was bad; they could have been killed. Dev says, a shooting at the warehouse and pier at the same time must mean something, and Jax says, nothing good.
Chase tells Jordan the preliminary findings match Tonyās story ā to a point. There were two shooters outside, and three inside; Brando, Tony, and Brent, who worked there. An associate chased the gunmen, and didnāt return. Taggert says, he probably grabbed a gunman to hold for Sonny. Jordan introduces Taggert to Chase, and tells Chase they worked in the DEA together. Taggert says it was after his tenure at the NYPD. He and Sonny worked different sides of the same street in Brooklyn. Heās not there in an official capacity, but asks Jason, if he was, who might try to take over Sonnyās territory? Jason says heās not answering any questions without his attorney present. Taggert says, some things never change. Sonny must have pissed someone off. Jordan says, Sonny is at Turning Woods, getting Mike settled. Tagger says, Mike was involved? It must have been pretty traumatic for him. Jordan is glad Sonny is taking care of Mike, but when heās done, she has plenty of questions.
Carly sees Brandoās stuff, and noses around. She slides something out of the bag.
Elizabeth sees Finn, and tells him that Jax told her about Nikolas. Sheās still in shock. He tried to justify his actions, but keeping Hayden from Violet is unforgivable. Finn says Violet misses her mom very much, and Elizabeth asks how heās doing. He says he loves Violet, and wants to be the father she needs. Elizabeth hopes he doesnāt feel alone in this. He has Anna for support, but she doesnāt want him to forget that heās officially part of her family now. Violet has a lot of people who love her, including three cousins whoād like to see more of her. Finn says itās kind of her, and suggests arranging a playdate. He canāt believe he said those words, and she tells him, get used to it.
Valentin tells Ava and Nikolas, enjoy their brief stay. Donāt go crazy redecorating. Ava married his nephew, and thinks she married a prince, but heās nothing. Nikolas tells Valentin to stay away from his home. Valentin says he still has his true love, and Ava says, too bad itās not reciprocated. She imagines there are a lot of fine-looking upstanding men who will be lining up to treat Nina better than Valentin did. Valentin says, maybe sheās right, but they canāt love her like he does. Nina says, goodbye, and he says, for now. He leaves, and Nina smiles at Ava.
Josslyn tells Sasha, a random guy showed out of nowhere to help, and he was shot. Her mom insisted on waiting at the hospital with Gladys. Itās was Gladysās son Brando who saved her life. Jax says, Devās father.
Carly looks at a photo of Dev and Gladys.
Jordan says, three shootouts going down at the same time is no coincidence, and Chase says, if itās connected to Sonnyās truck getting stolen, itās a huge escalation. Taggert says, they wanted to get rid of the competition fast and final, but Jordan says, the good news is, they failed. Jason and Sonny are still standing, along with their families. She tells Jason that when he talks to his lawyer, he might want to think about all they stand to lose if this blows up into a mob war. She doesnāt mean territory, but their families, and innocent bystanders. Whatās coming for them has no code. Itās going to be public and ugly, and sheās going to stop it if she has to take him and Sonny along with them.
On Monday, Willow tells Brad to manage Nelle or she will, Gladys asks Brando what heās doing in Port Charles, and Carly asks Sonny why theyāre doing this to him.

It looks like ABC will have caught up to me tomorrow. FYI, they are showing new episodes on their site (ABC.com) and on their app after 8 pm EST. The shows will also be aired on HULU and On Demand the following day. Why not at 8 pm? Who knows?
In case youāre not caught up, and just want to read all about it, here are the links to the transcripts recaps for the past two episodes not aired on regular TV. Theyāre in order ā i.e. the oldest is first.
This weekās challenge was to create an editorial look using sheer fabric; editorial meaning it told a story. Brandon told the designers there was nothing more important than making a woman feel good, and they were to celebrate the female form using a provocative trend; a barely there editorial look. He emphasized that it wasnāt about exposing a woman, but about getting creative in a sexy, but not obvious, way. Since last weekās winner was Brittany, she got first pick of the models. Nancy chose the same model, wanting to redeem herself from having swallowed the model with fabric the previous week. It was a one-day challenge, and they were to work with the models during sketch time, to make sure they were comfortable and confident with the designs. It would also be the last challenge where immunity was given. The designers were cautioned that the finishing had to be spot-on because everything would be shown with a sheer fabric. A medic had to be called early on for Dayoung, who still wasnāt well. She said her mind was saying keep going, but her body said sheād done enough. She decided she was a human before being a designer, and chose to leave the competition, saying it was the most difficult decision sheād made in her life. She was grateful for everyone whoād helped her, and told us that her story wasnāt done. Sheād be designing up until her last day.
Because Dayoung left, Marquise got a save, and came back to the competition. He said it would be his revenge moment, when he proved why the judges shouldnāt have sent him home. The contestants were given $300 and 30 minutes at Mood. Victoria mulled over disappointing herself last week, and got pouty in the store, claiming she didnāt understand what sheer meant, even though Christian explained it to her. The designers started working, and Christian interrupted, asking, whoās ready for a twist? striking fear in their hearts. But there was no twist. He said he wasnāt that evil, just a little. As he walked around giving encouragement and advice, he told Victoria that she couldnāt keep doing the same dress over and over. She insisted what she was designing was different (it wasnāt), and acted like a big baby. Sergio said it was a tough competition, and sometimes made you question who you are as a designer and person. Victoria again insisted she didnāt understand sheer, and walked out, Brittany following. Victoria told her that it was better to leave than be on the bottom, and grabbed her bag, ready to jet, basically wanting to quit before she was fired. Brittany was pissed because there were talented people who had been eliminated, and Victoria was trashing her opportunity. She told Victoria that they still had four hours, but Queen Victoria said she was tired. As she reclined on a chaise lounge with her water bottle, Chelsey promised her that they were all tired. Personally, I wanted to kick her ass. She decided to stay for her husband, who had always been super supportive. Itās probably easier than listening to her complain.
Paloma Elsesser, an extremely accomplished plus-size model, was guest judge. Victoria whined that she didnāt want to look at her own design, saying there was nothing of her aesthetic in it, and she was embarrassed. It wasnāt horrible ā a yellow asymmetrical (no surprise) number using a lot of lace ā but it wasnāt sheer either. Christian remarked that it was the worst fabric ever. Karlie said, overall, it was clear it was a one-day challenge.
Brittany and Delvin were deemed safe, and I was surprised neither one was in the top. Although I guess itās getting to be a pretty small pool. Brittany had designed the cutest pink romper with humongous puffy sleeves, and Delvin concocted a black crop top and maxi skirt ensemble. The top was unmemorable, but I thought the skirt was fantastic, kind of prairie style. Rather than just being grateful they were still in the game, they both seemed annoyed, and exchanged a lot of commentary backstage during the critiques.
Having scrapped her original design of a blue baby doll dress, Chelsey had designed a long, fitted, trench coat style jacket. This might have been okay, but she chose to hang on to sleeves that hadnāt matched the baby doll dress either; a series of horizontal loops, held together by a vertical strip running down the outside of the arm. Frankly, they didnāt look like theyād match with much of anything, they were just plain odd. Nina asked why sheād used a nude slip underneath, rather than matching the blue, and Brandon remarked that he kept waiting for a nip slip from the demi-bra on top. Elaine said the fabric choice was just wrong; there was no fluidity. So, it was in the bottom three for Chelsey.
On the opposite end, Nancy designed a prom dress for her model who had never been to prom, black and silver, with a dramatic stole/collar that exposed one shoulder. Nancy said it was also zero waste, which impressed the judges. Nina thought the shoulder drama was everything, and Elaine liked the glamour ā it was taking her someplace she wanted to be. Karlie remarked that she loved a pocket in a ball gown, and I said, me too! I think there should be a law requiring at least one pocket in all garments. Marquise also designed a stunning black and silver gown, taking it a step further by making a matching, but more low-key, T-shirt for himself with the extra fabric. Brandon said he loved a comeback story.
Joining Chelsey in the bottom were Geoffrey and Victoria. While it was no surprise about Victoria, Iād liked Geoffreyās dress, a sheer blue above-the-knee creation, with a black and white trim at the waist, collar, and cuffs. The judges were in agreement that it was too sheer at the bust (the model was fine with that, and had fleshtone nipple covers). They also felt that the cinched waist was too much. When they got to Victoria, she blamed her bad English and started crying, saying she was ashamed sheād done so poorly. Paloma suggested she put her big girl panties on, and Nina said she didnāt want any more excuses. My thoughts exactly. Nina told her to find the lesson in a difficulty. Itās when she should look deep within herself, and find her inner strength to accomplish her dream. Theyād all had failures, but you donāt quit. Brandon told her that sh*t days were when you found out what you were made of.
Rounding out the top three was Sergio, whoād designed a gorgeous sleeveless gown ā another in black and silver ā with fringe adornments. His inspiration was his model and her husband, German and Chinese respectively, and a story about them meeting in the rain. Nina said the fringe was so strategically placed, you couldnāt even tell the model was naked underneath. Paloma said it was a dress that all of the models could have worn.
While the designers went backstage, the judges deliberated, Elaine saying that Nancy had already proven her chops as a technical designer, and had now added a cool (i.e. relevant) factor. Sergioās tailoring was also praised, and Nina said his piece was highly editorial. Paloma said Victoriaās sob story left a bad taste in her mouth; the humility was lacking. She hit the nail on the head with that comment. Nina said she was scared Chelseyās model was going to lose her underpinnings, and everyone agreed. Backstage, Nancy thought none of them were going home, and Christian would use a save.
When the designers came back out, Karlie reiterated the challenge was about creating an editorial look that celebrated the female form, and embraced sheer fabric. Sergio was the big winner, and the last one who will get immunity. Moving on to the bottom three, Geoffrey was deemed safe. The consensus was that Chelsey had made poor design choices, and there were flaws in Victoriaās construction and attitude (ouch!). Chelsey was out, surprising me, and pissing me off. Elaine told Victoria that she was safe today, but she needed to save herself. Brandon said it was like two women they love both had a bad day, and they had to pick the worst of two evils. He told Chelsey that it didnāt take away from her talent. She thanked them for the opportunity, got a hug from Karlie, and told her compadres, itās not a cryfest. When Christian came to gather her, he said everyone is so good at this point, itās hard to judge. In her interview, Chelsey said she wasnāt 150% proud of what sheād done, but was surprised she was going home. Again, me too. She wasnāt mad that she fell short, and was leaving with her head held high. She believed the women in her family would be proud, and she was a shining example of a strong Black woman. She planned to do what she does best; make everyday clothes for not so everyday people.
Next time, the designers are challenged to reinvent the tux. Sebastian (last seasonās winner), and Alan (too cool for school, and voted out this season) pay the designers a visit.
šĀ Iām Shocked, Pleased, and Slightly Annoyedā¦
Shocked because she brought on the drama; pleased because I canāt stand her; and slightly annoyed because the reason might be ageism. If theyāre judging by her character though, Iām 100% behind it. Bye, Felicia.

Hereās what I got. Supposedly, ABC is letting the new episodes loose now. I checked their site, and itās showing the episode with the shootouts, so Iām ahead by two. When this airs on real TV, Iām not sure, but if the site has them, On Demand should have them too. On Demand has been akin to the devil during this blackout, listing an episode as new, when itās a random rerun. Merry Christmas, Shiloh! Anyway, Iāll keep my eye out for news, and recap again as soon as theyāve caught up to me.
When we last left, Jennifer had tossed a fork and plate at Melissa in a restaurant because she has absolutely no manners whatsoever. She said, blah-blah-blah, donāt talk about my kids, when no one was talking about them. Sheās one of those people who likes to change the narrative to suit themselves, and itās working my last nerve. Apparently, Melissaās was also being worked, since she said she wanted to pop Jennifer one. Jennifer left, staring daggers at Melissa the whole way to the car, and since weāre in middle school, Teresa and Dolores went with her. Marge wondered why Teresa always leaves with the uninjured party, which is a good question. The topic of Jackie not eating was addressed, and Jackie explained that people donāt understand about how difficult it is getting past an eating disorder. We saw a clip of her watching a video of her younger, overweight self with her father, and he said, it was almost worth it. While Iām sure he didnāt mean it in a malicious way, thatās really an awful thing to say. She told Marge and Melissa about eating only apples and canned tuna during a trip to Mexico with her husband, and putting herself into treatment when they got back.
In the car, Jennifer claimed she didnāt want people criticizing Jackie, when she seems to be the only one doing that. As soon as they got back to the house, she started making noises about leaving, and of course the other Musketeers, Dolores and Teresa, said theyād go too; Teresa saying, since they all came together, they would leave together. When Jennifer told Jackie that sheād be leaving, in Jackieās interview, she suggested Jennifer take her kooky tequila-ass self and walk back to NJ. I couldnāt have agreed more. Melissa asked Teresa to stay, and Jackie wondered if she was back in high school. (Thank you.) Teresa decided she didnāt want to choose friends over family, and in a rare move, did the right thing and stayed. Jackie said sheād wanted the weekend to heal wounds, but it was worse than ever.
The guys also got together over the weekend ā Joes #2 and #3, and Frank Sr. ā for drinks. It wasnāt lost on me how when the men get together, the atmosphere is the opposite of the women getting together. The guys always encourage each other, and have a lot of laughs. If there are any altercations, theyāre solved in ten seconds with a beer. They have so much more fun than the women do, and no one throws anything. Well, maybe a football. In the Hamptons, the remaining women ā Jackie, Marge, Melissa, and Teresa ā went out to dinner to a restaurant on the water (gorgeous!), and somehow it was uneventful. Probably because Jennifer had taken her tequila-ass self home.
Back in New Jersey, Melissa told Joe #2 that Jennifer got gangster on her, and asked why crazy people intrigue Teresa. Joe said Teresa was going through something, and they give her attention. Despite her legal/financial troubles, Marge was celebrating 20 years in business, and invited Marge Sr. for a visit. She said she worried about Marge Sr. more than Marge Sr. worried about her, and now that Marge Sr. was in Manhattan, she felt like a kid again, who didnāt want her mom to go to work and leave her alone.
Teresa met Joe #2 for drinks and apps, and told him about Not-So-Juicy Joe saying no one would want her, since she had so much baggage. Joe #1 said Not-So-Juicy was just trying to mess with her head. On the way to taking the girls to see their dad, Teresa realized sheād forgotten her wallet, and they had no ID. The problem was, they were already an hour and a half into the trip, and had to be there at a certain time. To be continuedā¦
š¤½š¼āāļøĀ Tonight, Bravo aired a half hour of a Summer House retrospective/sneak peek of the new season. The best blast from the past was Amanda saying Kyle was like one of those little dogs humping your leg. You just want to kick him off. And then getting engaged to him. As for the future, from what Kyle told us, we should expect them to act like family ā drunk, obnoxious, and dysfunctional, but in a loving way. While I think all families are dysfunctional to a degree because they involve people, heās not describing my family. Although it might explain why heās the way he is. There will be a few new faces, and the good news or bad news, depending on how you feel about the show, is that the people are all still awful.
š A Sad Six Degreesā¦
That crash was far reaching, and a lesson in how temporary our life here is.

Nothing new on ABC, and nothing new anywhere else since the episode I posted yesterday. Today, ABC had another rerun, instead of the promised airing of said episode. How much longer will this circus continue? At least we found out what happened after the shootout(s).

However, heāll have just one. Charles promises not to tell. He asks how Margaret is, and Connelly says sheās in Marthaās Vineyard. Charles says when sheās spending time there, it means theyāre not doing well, but Connelly says theyāve been married 25 years; theyāre always doing fine. He toasts to the President Elect, and asks if Charles is ready for the White House. Charles asks if anyone has ever been ready, and Connelly says heās been through six administrations. Hereās to lucky seven. They clink glasses, and Charles asks, what brings Connelly by? Connelly says he just wanted to check on Charles, but Charles doesnāt buy it, and asks if it has anything to do with talking to a certain Senator about being Secretary of State. Connelly says he came to talk to Charles about the young lady. All he has to say is, that was close. It could have cost Charles everything. Charles says heās aware, and Connelly says, the whispers on the Senate floor could be shouts. Charles says, itās under control, and asks if Connelly wants to join him for a late dinner. Connelly says, it would be nice to catch up.
Benny wakes up tied up in a basement, and wonders where he is. He starts yelling for help. A guy sits in front of him and takes out a gun. He tells Benny that nobody can hear him. Benny asks, whatās going on? and the guy says Bennyās sister owes Jim money. Benny says he has nothing to do with that; let him out. The guy says, as soon as Jim gets his money back. He says Benny is the only thing Candace cares about, and suggests Benny give her a call. Benny says, the dude is dead; there aināt no Jim. Doesnāt he watch TV? Three people were shot at the house. Celine sees David, and asks how Jim is, but David says he doesnāt know. He asks what Celine is doing there, and she says she works there; she just got off. Does he know anything? Does he know who shot Jim? Just tell her. He says heās trying to find out, and she says she has to do something. Jim stopped paying child support; it was probably Davidās idea. She knows how they work. David says he doesnāt know why Jim does a lot of things, and Celine says Jim lives in a mansion, while sheās struggling with his two sons. Heās a son of a bitch. She asks who shot him, but David insists he doesnāt know. Itās a very tragic time. He tells her, just go home; heāll give her a call. She says he knows who did it, and he says, theyāre saying itās Wyatt. She laughs, and says, the one son Jim has given everything too. David says, itās not funny, and she says, itās poetic though. Heās sure sheās tired, and she says he doesnāt know anything about her. She is tired. Sheās tired of Jim and the situation. He says itās not the appropriate place, but she thinks itās more than appropriate. He says heāll call her, but she says she doesnāt trust him. Sheās staying. I donāt know if itās significant, but Davidās back is obviously still hurting him, and Celine takes notice.
In an examining room, Madison hands Jeffrey some pills in a cup and water. Jeffrey asks if Madison is supposed to give it to him, and Madison says itās his; just take it. It will help with his anxiety. Jeffrey takes the medication, and asks how Madison is. He sees Madison is working the graveyard shift. Madison asks if Jeffrey is doing that now; feeling sorry for himself. He has a lot to be thankful for. Jeffrey thanks Madison for counting his blessings for him. He has a hard time doing that. He suddenly says, wow. Heās feeling relaxed. Madison tells him not to drink any alcohol. Geez, thatās fast-acting medication. Jeffrey asks if Madison can get him some more, and Madison says, on a needed basis. Jeffrey says heās going to leave before his stalker sees him, but Madison says Justin checked out, and stalker is putting it lightly. Jeffrey says, call him crazy for letting it happen, but itās over. Madison asks if itās over for Jeffrey. He likes the drama. Jeffrey says he was trying to help, but Madison tells him, no normal guy would take that chance. He loves the drama. Jeffrey says Madison is killing his buzz, and Madison says heāll let it go.
A guard leads Kathryn to a cell. She says she needs to check on her husband, but he says thereās nothing he can do. He stops at an open cell door, and she asks, whatās going on? Is she supposed to just sit there? Whereās the bathroom? He says, in the corner, and she says, in the open? looking at the lone toilet. She says sheās not going there, and he asks where she thinks she is. She says, itās who she knows she is, and he tells her, get in the cell or heāll put her in there. She says sheād like to see him try it, and he calls for some help. A female guard joins him, and asks if Kathryn wants to make this difficult. Kathryn says, her whole life has been difficult, and the guard says, sure. Her life in the mansion. She says Kathryn is being belligerent, but Kathryn says sheās protesting. She refuses to be put in a cage with an open bathroom. Itās inhumane. The female guard asks if she knows where she is, and Kathryn says the other one already asked. She wants another cell. They grab her, and she struggles, getting tased for her trouble. Kathryn says the guard shocked her, and he says heāll do it again. Get up, and get in the cell. Whatās really weird is, not one other prisoner reacts in any way, which is unrealistic. Iām surprised. Victoria comes toward them, and laughs. She says, thatās hysterical. The guard tells her, stay back, but she says sheās there for a client. Kathryn asks if Veronica it there to see her, but Veronica says she doesnāt know Kathryn. But if Veronica was her, sheād get up and get in the cell. Kathryn says, go to hell, but gets in the cell. Veronica says sheās looking for Quita Maxwell, and the guards leave.
She asks why Kathryn is there, and Kathryn says, for what Veronica did; shooting Jennifer. Veronica says, everyone knows it wasnāt her. Kathryn went for the chest; she would have gone for the face. Kathryn says, leave her alone, and Veronica says, if she does, she canāt help. Kathryn says, George had her arrested, and Wyatt shot at her. Veronica says she told Kathryn to get that boy in line, and Kathryn asks if Jeffrey is under control. Sheās forgetting about Jeffrey knifing her. Sheās not mother of the year. Veronica hopes Jim is doing as well as Kathryn is; sorry not sorry. Kathryn asks if Veronica is going to help her or not, and Veronica says, sheāll think about it⦠No. She doesnāt like Kathryn anymore, so no. Kathryn says Veronica needs her, but Veronica says she doesnāt. Kathryn is a goner. Sheās in there now, and Veronica could testify against her. Kathryn says sheās Veronicaās client; she canāt. Veronica says, watch her. If she feels like her life is threatened, sheāll throw herself on the mercy of the court, telling them she feels her life is in danger. Kathryn says, you know how much I have on you, bitch, and Veronica says, you know how smart I am, bitch. Kathryn says, go to hell, and Veronica says it looks like Kathryn is already there. Enjoy her stay. Too bad thereās no hair stylist. She tells Kathryn, see her around, and walks away, laughing. Kathryn says, at least itās her hair; not a wig, or weave, or some mop from the sink.
At dinner, Connelly tells Charles, heās no longer a private citizen, and Charles asks if he wants to talk about becoming Secretary of State. Connelly says he was just checking on Charles, but Charles says, cut the crap. Connelly says, heās known Charles since he was Charlesās age, and knows him well. Charles says heās kept a lot of secrets, and Connelly tells him, the Candace thing was wrong. Charles has spent his life doing the right thing. Charles says, trying to, but Connelly says Charles is a good guy. He tries to be badass, but heās a good guy. Charles asks if heās going somewhere with this, and Connelly asks if Charles remembers a Deborah somebody or other. Charles says, the one whose married toā¦? and Connelly says, donāt say the name. Has Charles ever seen their middle child? Charles says he hasnāt paid much attention, and Connelly shows Charles his phone. Charles says, cute kid, and Connelly says, thankyou. Thatās his son. No one knows, and the only reason heās telling Charles is because politics, the life with a spotlight up your ass, is extremely stressful. You need a safe place to lay your head. Charles says heās aware of that, and Connelly says heās telling Charles because he loves Deborah and she loves him. The secret of their relationship working is that it remains a secret. They trust each other. It brings excitement into his life again, and he doesnāt think he could go on with the job if didnāt have those times. She gives him that, and Charles deserves that. Charles asks if Connelly is saying he should have a baby with his mistress, and Connelly says, have fun. He deserves it. Donāt let this prison kill him. itās not what he does that matters as much as how he does it. Charles asks if Connelly is saying he should see Candace, but Connelly says, hell no. Thatās the last thing heās saying. That girl is trouble. Charles needs to get in bed with people who have as much to lose as he does. Charles wonders if Connelly is suggesting a Prime Minster or President, but Connelly says, no. Has he seen some of them? For the position Charles is in, heās looking too low.
At the Lazy V, Mitch tells the manager heās going to ask one more time; where is he? The manager says theyāre closing, and Mitch says, she knows, moving toward the stripper who gave Benny a lap dance. The manager blocks him, but he says heās not leaving until someone tells him where Benny is. The manager says he has two guys over there who will take Mitch out, but Mitch says heāll have his grandmother all over there. The manager starts laughing until Mitch says, Rose Malone. Whereās his boy at? The manager insists he doesnāt know. Candace and Mitchās guys come in, and Mitch says, these clowns took Benny somewhere. This broad took Benny into the back room, and now heās gone. Candace asks the stripper where her brother is, but she says she doesnāt know what Candace is talking about. Candace says sheās trying to turn over a new leaf. Where is he? The stripper repeats that she doesnāt know, and Candace punches her in the face. Mitch tells everyone, donāt move, and the girl punches back. Candace is all over her immediately, fighting dirty and punching the crap out of her. Candace breaks a bottle, and puts it at the girlās throat, asking, whereās her brother? The stripper says some guys came in and gave her $1000 to take him in the back. Candace asks who they were, but the girl says she doesnāt know. The manager confirms that she doesnāt. He doesnāt know them either. All he knows is, they drove a green truck. He has their license plate on video. Mitch tells him to get it, and donāt make them come back. Candace tells Mitch that she hates it when a bitch hits back. Mitchās main guy says he likes her; sheās impressive. He couldnāt do that.
Hanna tries calling Benny, but gets voicemail. She leaves a message that sheās been calling all night, and to please call. As soon as she hangs up, her phone rings, and she says, Benny? Itās Marty, and Hanna says she was calling him for Kathryn. He asks, whatās going on? and she says he hasnāt heard? Wyatt shot at Kathryn, and shot Jim. He asks if theyāre okay, and Hanna says, yeah. He says heāll go see what he can do for Wyatt, but Hanna says, no. Kathryn was arrested for murdering Jennifer, and was taken to county. He says heās on his way, and Hanna asks if he wants her to meet him there. He says thereās nothing she can do tonight; come in the morning. He says heāll call her, and another call comes in. She thanks him, and switches over, saying, Benny? This time, itās Derrick, who tells her not to get scared or hang up. He spoke to Candace, and she wants to meet. Heād like her blessing. Hanna says, donāt call her, and hangs up.
At county reception, Quita comes out, and says, what the hell? Veronica asks if thatās any way to greet her? She got Quita out. Quita asks, why? and Veronica says, because Quitaās baby daddy wanted her to. She needs Quita to write a note letting him know that sheās the one who got her out. Quita says sheās not writing anything, and Veronica says sheāll go back in. Quita says she aināt forgot Veronica hit her; she aināt writing no note. Veronica asks if Quita canāt write, and Quita wonders why Veronica wants a note. She says, Veronica is scared heās going to give her up. Why would she be getting Quita out if she wasnāt scared? Veronica says, write, dumbass, holding out her notebook. Quita takes it, and starts to write. She says Veronica doesnāt know whatās going on, does she? Quita knows what theyāre saying. All dem hood babies Veronica had locked up because of the bombing she planned. She got their brother killed, and theyāre plotting on her. She writes and laughs, and Veronica asks, whatās funny? Quita says she doesnāt even know the really funny part. Veronica says, if any ghetto hood-rat does anything to her, there will be holy hell to pay. Quita says Veronica only has so many lives, and Veronica says, at least she has one. Quita writes, b-i-t-c-h, and hands Veronicaās notebook back. Veronica looks at it for a while, turning it this way and that. She says, what is this? and Quita says, heāll know. Veronica says itās a masterpiece, and should be archived in a museum. It should go up for every child to see this level of ignorance is still in the world. She tells Quita, it must be in ratchet. She sits, and points Quita in the right direction to leave.
Justin comes into the hospital, saying heās in pain. Madisonās co-worker says he shouldnāt have left, and he says he thinks somethingās wrong. No surprise, Madison and Jeffrey come back at just that moment. Madison asks Justin what heās doing back, and Jeffrey asks, whatās going on? Jeffrey says heās not doing this with Justin, and Madison says heāll take Justin to an examining room. Justin says the woman is helping him, but she says sheās on break, giving Madison the folder. I wonder why she always does this to him. Madison and Justin go into an examining room, Jeffrey following.
Justin asks if Jeffrey and Madison are still seeing each other, and Jeffrey says, no. Jeffrey asks what Justin is doing there, and Justin says, now Jeffreyās concerned. Madison tells Justin to get on the bed, and Justin says he feels like something is wrong. He doesnāt need a nurse; he needs a doctor. Madison says, heās got it, and leaves. Justin asks Jeffrey to stay, but Jeffrey says heāll be fine. Justin says this is what Jeffreyās mom did to him. Itās not fair. Jeffrey says, Justin shouldnāt have hit her. Justin asks if Jeffrey think he deserves it, and Jeffrey says he thinks Justin shouldnāt have hit her. He says he has to go. Justin begs him not to leave, but Jeffrey says, goodbye. When heās gone, Justin says, nobody loves him.
Wyatt is led to the cell next to Kathrynās. He says, hi, mom, and she tells him, she has nothing to say to him. He asks if this is how she treats her only son. She says the son who tried to kill her. He says he didnāt, but he could have. She repeats she has nothing to say, and he says theyāre going to be spending a lot of time in the same place, so sheāll be listening. She calls to the guard, but he says, they donāt care. Theyāre not coming. She tells him, shut up, and he says he hopes they do her like they did him. She says heās evil, and he says he gets it from his parents. Did she expect to be as evil as she is, and him not be affected? She says when she gets out, heāll pay for what he did to his father. He laughs, and says he doesnāt care about his father. Heās glad the SOB is dead. Kathryn says, dead? and he says, they didnāt tell her? Wyatt says, heās dead, in a singsong voice, and asks if she wants to hear the remix. D-d-d-d-dead. She says, heās not dead, and Wyatt laughs.
Next time, Benny calls Hanna, Celine wants to see Jim, Connelly asks if Charles thinks Candace wasnāt conning him, Justin says David canāt hurt him, and get ready for the tables to turn.
Vanderpump Rules
Jax waters the lawn wearing a sheet mask. Brittany says he looks creepy. I tend to agree. In Brittanyās interview, she says, itās finally time. Theyāre going to Miami. Sheās been waiting for this her whole life. Theyāre going to tear Miami up.
Everyone packs. Stassi tells Beau that Kristen is living by herself. He thinks itās good for her to have some space to see things clearer. In Stassiās interview, she thinks Kristen is on the path to finding herself. She hopes she doesnāt have to see Carter again.
In her interview, Kirsten says sheās a homeowner now. Sheās single, has two awesome dogs, and feels like sheās winning at life. Ariana comes by, and they find a box marked Carter. Ariana asks if heās moving in, and Kristen says heās not, but they had sex this morning. Ariana says itās never going to work. In Arianaās interview, she says, Kristen is living in two worlds. The one where sheās telling friends that she and Carter have broken up; and reality, where she and Carter have sex, hang out, and he has his stuff shipped to the new house. Ariana tells Kristen that sheās messy. She hopes Miami isnāt weird. It was intense yesterday when Stassi screamed at Tom.
Stassi tells Beau that she hasnāt talked to Tom. Beau says heās still annoyed about it, and Stassi says sheās not apologizing. It was her party.
Kristen tells Ariana, the texts were aggressive. Who does Tom think he is? Ariana says, the owner of TomTom. I notice she didnāt say an owner.
At SUR, while the staff sets up for the day, a wick of a three-wick candle slides off the side, and sets a plant on fire. Several of the servers scramble to put it out. I saw this happen at a friendās place once, and it was scary. I havenāt used one of those since. Lisa comes by, and asks Max if he heard about the altercation at Stassiās book signing. He says Stassi and Katie were screaming at Tom in front of all the guests. Lisa asks, why? and Max tells her, Stassi said something about Tom sending her rage texts. He was supposed to get a screenshot, but never did. In Lisaās interview, she says she knows by looking at him, sheās not getting the whole story. Heās a bit of a sh*tty liar.
The group meets at the airport. After a two second flight, and a five second car ride, they arrive at the hotel. In Jaxās interview, he says Miami is where he started modeling as Jason Cauchi, and Jax Taylor was born. To be there for Jax Taylorās last hurrah is perfect. Theyāre met with margaritas, and in her interview, Brittany says some of her best friends are there. We see everyone gathered, including her brother-in-law and sister-in-law. She says itās amazing that they all flew to Miami just for them. She tells everyone that theyāll have room service in their rooms, then the girls will get in their wedding gowns, and split off from the guys.
Tom steps away with Stassi, and says, the last time they were together was rough. She says, because he was a d*ck, and he says he apologizes for the text messages. Stassi says she appreciates his apology. She was shook. He says she has to understand, they donāt plan events five days ahead. He couldnāt sleep. She asks why he would talk to her like that, and he says Max told him they had no one to work. She says that had nothing to do with her, and he says his stress was at the limit. In Stassiās interview, she says she doesnāt need to hear his reason for being a d*ck. Stassi says Tom was the only one voicing his opinion. In Tomās interview, he says he knows Stassi loves a great apology, but this is the best sheās going to get. He tells her, the best protocol is a line of communication between them, and she says, Lisa, Schwartz, and Max all knew, but sorry she didnāt text him. Next time, she will.
Everyone checks out their room. Brittany thinks she and Jax have a terrifying balcony. Kristen says hers is too pretty and pink. It looks like Stassi threw up on it. Stassi says it looks like she decorated it, and Beau notices a ceiling mirror. Tom tells Ariana itās a rat pack night. In Tomās interview, he says he and Jax havenāt been on the best terms lately, and we flash back to that. He wants to knock it out of the park for the bachelor party. He tells Ariana about a club package they got with everything included for five grand. Jax is going to expect nothing less than awesomeness. Tom supposes itās the only time heāll be seeing Ariana in a wedding dress, and sheās leaving him. She says sheās a runaway bride. The girls check out their dresses.
Beau asks Stassi what Tom said, and Stassi says it was half apology, half she has to understand what heās going through. Beau wonders what Tom is doing at 2 am, messaging his girlfriend. Stassi says she didnāt want to go to her own signing in a friendās place. She could have done it somewhere with good ranch, like TGIFridayās, but it was her friendās restaurant. Beau says, it was ridiculous and rude. Stassi says she went into a bookstore at the airport and put her book in the front. Then Ariana told her that she didnāt see it in the store. Sheād thought they were fine, but Tom and Ariana have spiky ass sticks up their butts.
At TomTom, Lisa FaceTimes with everyone involved in the book signing altercation. She tells Stassi that she heard it went downhill with Tom at her book signing, and Stassi says he rage texted her at 2 am, saying she was putting it all on them, and he was kicking her TF out of TomTom. She doesnāt know where it came from. Lisa asks if he apologized, but Stassi says, he just kept backing up what he did. Lisa calls Tom, and says sheād like a better understanding of what happened. He says he thought Stassi would have reached out to him, but there was no communication. She went through Schwartz. Then she screamed at him in front of the customers. Lisa makes another call to Schwartz, telling him that she wants to get some clarity on what happened. He says Tom overreacted, and handled it poorly. He doesnāt want to throw his partner/friend under the bus, but he went off the deep end. It was handled piss poorly. Tom thought theyād have to bartend, and snapped. In Lisaās interview, she says their relationships are more important than an event. She hopes itās a learning experience. Tom interacted unprofessionally. When itās your business, keeping calm under pressure is of the utmost importance. Why does everything have to get so complicated?
The guys go to a strip club called Goldrush. Why Tom, Jax, and Schwartz are wearing fake mustaches and looking like 70s porn stars is beyond me. In Beauās interview, he says heās uncomfortable at strip clubs. Itās not really his thing, and he knows when he leaves, Satan will be waiting in the hotel room, and it scares the crap out of him.
The girls go to a secret lounge. In Stassiās interview, she says itās amazing that Brittany got all of her bridesmaids to wear a tacky wedding dress. Everyoneās idea of tacky is different. She looks like an upside down cupcake. To Ariana just wearing a wedding dress is tacky because sheās never getting married. Lala is covering her entire body for the first time in her life, which she finds tacky, and Scheana probably just pulled something from her closet. In Katieās interview, she says sheās proud of Kristen. Sheās not crying and miserable. Sheās having a great time, and Katie thinks sheās finding her footing as a single girl. Ariana tells Scheana that everyone was giving her dirty looks at the airport. Sheās not in a fight with Stassi. In Arianaās interview, she says everyone is talking about her, but not to her. She finds it unfair.
At the club, the guys make it rain. One of the girls tells Peter that he looks like Zorro, and itās true. Beau tells Schwartz that he doesnāt want it to be awkward with Tom, and feels like they should have a quick sit-down. He tells Tom that heād like a powwow outside, and they leave. In front of the club, Beau says he wanted to have a conversation before everyone gets too wasted, and Tom says, too late, but adds heās kidding. Beau says heās pissed that Tom sent a nasty text to his girlfriend. He should apologize in a better way than he did in the lobby. Tom feels Stassi owes him an apology as well, but Beau doesnāt think so. Tom says if Stassi wants to have a party at his place, she should at least shoot him a text. Beau says sheās closer to Schwartz, and theyāre partners on an equal level. Tom says, Schwartz doesnāt know how to clock-in at TomTom. He spent fifteen years working behind the bar, learning the ins and outs of everything. Schwartz spent fifteen minutes behind the bar, and had a panic attack. Iād forgotten about that, and we flash back. Tom tells Beau that Schwartz is a yes man, and Beau suggests Tom get upset at Schwarz. Tom says it was late at night, and he was freaking out. He wondered if Stassi would ever worry about how to make his party work out. She screamed at him and belittled him, attacking him in front of his customers. Beau says they were really Stassiās customers since she brought them, but Tom practically thumps his chest, and says they were his customers. In Beauās interview, he says he thought Tom was cool when they met, but after all this, heās kind of a d*ck. Beau tells Tom, heās done; heās said his piece, and doesnāt want awkwardness. Tom tells Beau, heās said his piece too, and they go back inside, but you can tell itās unfinished.
Lisa asks Dayna how itās going, and Dayna says harder than she thought it would be. There have been some challenges with some people who donāt want her there. Lisa says sheās seen it all before, and asks, who? Dayna says, Scheana hasnāt been kind. In her interview, Lisa says Scheana should know more than anyone what itās like to be the new girl. Itās surprising because thatās how she was treated. Dayna says Scheana might have personal issues, since Dayna is hanging out with Max. Lisa says they donāt want to deal with personal issues, and Scheana probably thinks of herself as an OG because sheās been there a long time. In her interview, Lisa says a new girl isnāt going to be welcomed with open arms, but Scheana shouldnāt be guilty of that, since sheās been the victim. We flash back to Stassi telling her to polish the glasses, like Scheana did to Dayna. Dayna tells Lisa, sheāll handle it, and Lisa says she knows Dayna will.
In the morning, Brittany asks if Jax is still drunk. He says he felt awkward at the strip club. He was the only one without a girl next to him. Funny, since the clips show us different. Not only does he have a girl, he tells Schwartz heās leaving Brittany for one. He says heās not good at a strip club, and Brittany tells him, every guy says that who goes to a strip club. She says they have the boat today, so start getting ready.
Schwartz tells Katie heās the only one who didnāt have a lap dance, but we see a clip with a girl all over him.
Tom tells Jax that he rented a three-level boat, and Brittany says, itās so dope. In his interview, Schwartz says they have every intension of abusing the open bar, and getting their moneyās worth. He gets one of those mini beers, and says he feels like Andre the Giant holding it. Stassi says itās one of her favorite things theyāve ever done. Lala asks Scheana about training the new people. Scheana says Dayna was a hostess at TomTom, but started serving at SUR. They donāt vibe. She doesnāt wear a bra. Lala asks if sheās mad at Daynaās boobs, but Scheana says Dayna does little things that irk her. In Lalaās interview, she says, Scheana is jealous that sheās not the center of attention at SUR anymore. If she wants attention, show an effing nipple. Jax asks his sister Jenny for marital advice. He says theyāve been thought a lot, and he canāt be without Brittany. Heās done a lot of effed up sh*t, but he owns up to it.Ā In his younger day (i.e. last year), he screwed over a lot of them. Jenny says, even his future wife, and he says, theyāre all still here. He guesses that says something.
Kristen asks to talk to Lala, and frets that she heightened Brittanyās upsetness [sic]. Lala says Kristen wasnāt hearing her, and Kristen says it makes her sad. Lala tells her not to be sad, but work on it. Last night was a sh*t show. We see a clip of Kristen being so drunk she falls over. She says, of course she texted Carter, and told him that she split her lip. Sheās seeing him on Saturday, since she has a box of his stuff. Lala asks why she has a hard time by herself, and Kristen says saying sheās single sound like Scheana saying sheās single and ready to mingle. Itās the worst thing ever.
Jax tells Tom that heās having a great time, and heās exactly where he wants to be. Good job. Nothing could make it any better. In his interview, Jax says heās glad Tom stepped up, and rented the boat⦠thatās not a yacht. Itās the same booze cruise he went on in high school. Ariana tells Stassi that she wants to clear the air. Stassi was giving her dirty looks yesterday. Stassi says she couldnāt look Ariana in the eye. Everyone said that she was defending Tom. Ariana tells Stassi that sheās said the conversation should be between Tom and Schwartz. Schwartz dropped the ball. Stassi doesnāt think itās fair to put it on Schwartz. In Stassiās interview, she says she sees it now. Tomās role is to take the credit, while Schwartzās role is to take the blame. Stassi says sheād also taken her book and put it in the front of the airport bookstore when Ariana had said it wasnāt there. Ariana wonders if Stassi told anyone she did that, and Stassi says Lala filmed it. In her interview, Stassi doesnāt understand why Ariana wants to make her feel sh*tty about her book. Sheād thought Ariana was a confident woman whoās genuinely happy for another womanās success. Sheās not that way, but she thought Ariana was. Hmm⦠Could Ariana be jealous because Stassi is a single author while she had to share the spotlight with Tom? Stassi tells Ariana that sheās sick of rolling over. Pictures are taken of the girls in their Team Bridesmaid/Bride swimsuits. Brittany wants to post the first one, so she gets the most likes and comments. Katie says tonight the girls are going out, and the guys will join them later. Theyāll let the guys know when itās safe.
The girls go out to dinner. Katie says she doesnāt know the guysā plans, but theyāre meeting them later. They start with shots. Kristen steps outside to take a call from Carter, who asks if itās okay if he goes to her house tomorrow. Katie asks Stassi if she and Ariana talked, and Stassi says Ariana thinks Schwartz is the problem. Katie asks Ariana if she thinks the issue is with Schwartz now. Ariana says the issue isnāt with Schwartz, but with proper protocol. There was miscommunication, and misdirection. Katie says Tom needs to stop putting the blame on other people. He needs to own it and move on. In Arianaās interview, she as much as she loves Schwartz, the stress over the book signing is his fault. He told Stassi it had been handled, when it hadnāt been handled. TomTom is better than that. Katie says she doesnāt want to fight, but itās BS. Kristen comes back, and says Carter texted her. He has photo stuff at the house, so she gave him the code. In Katieās interview, she says, Kristen just gave her house code to a guy whoās garbage, while sheās on vacation. Sheās never breaking up with him. Katie says she gives up. Stassi tells Kristen not to say she hasnāt checked in when thereās nothing to check in on. Kristen tells Stassi not to make it about her.
In her interview, Brittany says, this is exactly what she didnāt want to happen. She wanted to have fun and celebrate; not be awkward, and not talk because theyāre fighting. Stassi says she goes to Kristenās place, and Carter is there. Itās like sheās lying. Theyāre not twenty-two, and canāt do this sh*t. Itās weird. Kristen says sheās doing the best she can, but Stassi says sheās not. Sheās too old to be messy. Kristen says sheās been through this with them, like when Tom was cheating on Katie. Katie says he wasnāt, and Kristen is miserable. Sheās never been happy in a relationship in her life.
Next time, itās the girlsā turn for lap dances, the guys dress up like old men, Max wants James to DJ for Pride, and Kristen and Stassi have a sit-down.
š¹Ā Last Call…
This is one ofĀ those so late it’s early kind of songs. Such a shame we need that pesky sleep.
When we last left, Captain Lee told the crew he didnāt want to hear loud voices and slamming doors, and to get to bed, emphasizing his point by slamming the door. In his interview, he said they were acting like a-holes, and there was going to be hell to pay in the morning.
Kate cries, and Tanner gives Ashton a goodnight kiss. Kate tells Rhylee, theyāre all so awful, and Rhylee says, everyone has a breaking point. In Rhyleeās interview, she says Kate has a hard exterior, but sheās still vulnerable. She knows how Kate feels. Sheād rather have explosive diarrhea than work with these guys. Kate says, everybody hates everybody. In Kateās interview, she says if this kind of behavior had been allowed when she started in yachting, she wouldnāt still be there. Sheās over these misogynist a-holes. If they want to make her the bad guy, she can play that game.
Ashton says, there was drama last night. In his interview, Captain Lee says, itās been an extremely tough season. Theyāve had injuries, people quitting, and personality issues. The crew are acting like children. Heās pissed, and heās not putting up with it. He calls everyone to the main salon. Kate tells Courtney that it was a nightmare hearing four males saying her name and laughing. She asked what they were talking about, and it was a delightful conversation.
The captain tells the crew, what happened last night is past. He doesnāt give a flying about that. All he cares about going forward, is the next charter. If anyone feels they canāt get along, they can pack their effing bags and leave. If anyone thinks theyāre safe because itās charter nine, and he wonāt fire someone mid-charter, they donāt know him. Even the crickets are quiet. He tells them, that being said, he doesnāt see anyone getting up to leave, so go to work. He says, itās only two and a half days. He can eat a sh*t sandwich every second for two and a half days. And if he can do it, they can.
Ashton has meeting with Tanner and Brian, not waiting for Rhylee. In Ashtonās interview, he says his first season as bosun wasnāt easy. He got dumped with Rhyleeās sh*t, and wants to stay as far away as possible. Kate calls to schedule massage therapists for the guests. Provisions arrive, including flower crowns. Jemele Hill is the primary, and the stews discuss her working for ESPN. Kate thinks itās going to be fun; the best charter ever. Kate sits on the dock having a smoke, and messing with her phone. Tanner asks if she wants to make a sex tape, and she tells him to let it happen organically. In her interview, she tells us, he said it, so it canāt happen today.
Rhylee tells Brian that sheās happy to see that he and Courtney are good, but he saysĀ theyāre not good again. In her interview, Courtney says Brian isnāt ready emotionally. He looks at everything like sheās being disloyal. Sheās more than willing to have a constructive conversation, but calling her out on everything she doesnāt agree with him on isnāt acceptable. Kevin asks Kate if she remembers when he wasnāt allowed in the pantry, and she says he is now. In his interview, he says, one more charter. He can do this. Just hold it together.
Courtney asks Brian if heād like a chat, since he was mad at her again. He says she was sticking up for Kate, and stormed off, affecting everything. Both Courtney and I are wondering if heās on the same boat. She says that didnāt happen. She was crying, and he walked past her to the van. He says itās his fault again. In his interview, he says, loyalty is a big thing in his life. He and his friends all came from broken homes, and all they had was friendship. Itās disappointing that Courtney doesnāt have his back. He tells her, itās the last charter, and heās effing done. He canāt be a nice guy all the time. He calls her bru, and I want to smack him. She starts crying in the galley, and Kevin hugs her. Brian tells Tanner, he hates this boat. Courtney was upset and crying last night. Now sheās crying again, and he feels like an idiot. Kate hugs Courtney as she cries some more.
Brian complains to Tanner and Ashton about Courtney pointing her finger at him all the time. Itās always about what he did, and never anything she did. In Courtneyās interview, she says she doesnāt want to be in a relationship where she has to walk on eggshells to accommodate the other person. She doesnāt want to waste time on people who arenāt worthy. The captain says the guests are arriving in five minutes. Kate says, everyone in the crew is cracking. She asks Captain Lee if he ever wants to throw up and smile at the same time. The guests arrive, Kate distributes the flower crowns, and Simone passes out champagne. The captain welcomes everyone, Kate gives the tour, and the luggage is brought on board. The Valor heads out for the last time.
One of Jemeleās friends tells Kate that Jemele just got engaged, and gives her a big sign and balloons to hang. In Kateās interview, she says the guests requested a 90s bachelorette party, and she loves the 90s. She went to a lot of ska shows and smoked a lot of pot. She loves these guests so much. In Kevinās interview, he says, itās the last charter, and heās super excited. He wants to give the guests top level service, and knock their socks off with something special. While Brian and Ashton eat in the galley, Rhylee takes her food to her cabin. Brian says, itās a shame, Ashton smiles, and I want to smack them both. In Simoneās interview, she says Jemele is an inspiration, and the guests are kick ass. Thank you, charter gods. Kevin sings, and Courtney opens more champagne. Jemele tells Simone to blink twice if the chefās not that good. The guests make a toast, and lunch is served. Jemele wants to feel the love in the food when she tastes it. The guests agree the lunch is everything.
Kate tells Kevin that regardless of whether sheās on service, she still wants to know all the elements of the meal. Kevin says sheās never around, and calls her an effing weirdo. The boat coasts into Koh Nok, and Jemele says lunch was perfect, and theyād like dinner at 9. The jet skis are put out, and Tanner and Ashton help take the guests out. Jemele tells her friends that she has a stern observation about Kateās coolness. She thinks theyāre getting on Kateās nerves. Another guest says Kate is just doing her job. When Kate asks if they need anything, Jemele tells Kate to promise not to cuss her out, and asks if they annoyed her. It seems like theyāre getting on her nerves. Kate says sheās sorry they feel that way. In Kateās interview, she says she feels like sheās in the Twilight Zone. Jemele is acting like Dean. We flash back to primary Dean basically calling Kate a bitch a million seasons ago. She says theyāre in Thailand on a yacht. Look elsewhere for satisfaction besides her face. Kate insists they didnāt get on her nerves, and Jemele says they will. Kate says, challenge accepted.
Jemele says sheās never had a dude buy hair for her, and another guest says, just ask for the money, and wherever it lands, it lands. The guests go to bed, and Courtney cleans up the decorations.

Heās still hopeful about Kate, and wants to see if she comes to him. Ashton tells Rhylee to drop the hook, and ready the anchor. Jemele tells the others that she woke up naked, but alone. They agree it was a great night, and Jemele asks for a shot of bourbon for breakfast. Kevin says heās nervous about the d*ck tonight. She says sheās being called a d*ck over casserole dishes. She has a gift for creative revenge that she only uses when sheās really angry. Congratulations. Heās made her really angry.
Rhylee feels like sheās being paid to take a break all season. In his interview, Ashton says heās been doing things on Rhyleeās terms. Up to this point, heās made an effort to do things differently to suit her, but he feels defeated. He wonders what he has to do to satisfy her. Sheās a junior deckhand with so much to say. Kevin tells Simone thereās a lot of drama with the crew, so heās happy the guests arenāt a-holes. Simone says Kate is the worst human sheās had to work with. Kevin likes how Simone stays out of it, and Simone says, it pisses Kate off when she doesnāt react, so thatās why she doesnāt. In Kevinās interview, he says on the other boats heās worked, the chef and chief stew try to get along, making an effort for both of them to shine, but thereās no trust between him and Kate. She doesnāt have his back, and itās sad.
Tanner and Ashton set up the canopies on the beach, while Kate decorates. Simone and Brian bring the guests over. In Ashtonās interview, he says beach picnics are normally a pita, but they found an incredible gem of a beach. He canāt think of a better way to finish the season. It is really beautiful; a little cove shaded by trees. Kate greets the guests with welcome shots. The masseuses are there, and the guests take turns getting massages. Lunch is served, and one of them says itās their favorite meal so far. In the galley, Tanner tells Kevin, eggs are gross. Kevin says, they are, but theyāre cool. Huh? He wants to do something for kids who need it, and heās been doing a lot of charity work.
Kate puts a sparkler on top of the cake. Kevin is excited to show the cake to Jemele, and wants the guests to be super happy. He put in a lot of love into it. Kevin comes in with the cake, and one of the guests says, here they were having such a grown-up conversation, and then a penis came into the room. In Kateās interview, she says her spirit animal is karma, and sheās a bitch. She always comes to people who deserve it. Whoās the d*ck now? Kevin asks where Jemele is, and heās told she went to bed. The captain says heās not taking a bite of that.
Next time ā the season finale ā Kevin says Kate made an evil bitch move, Ashton tells Rhylee theyāre different people and thatās okay (gag), the odds look like theyāre in Tannerās favor, Brian doesnāt want to end on a bad note with Courtney, and Captain Lee says, no sailor ever learned anything in calm seas.
