Monday:
Ric told Sidwell, that sounded like a threat, but Sonny said it sounded like a grieving father. He would know.
Turner saw Jordan at yoga and said she’d been smacked down by the WSB’s lawyers. Jordan said she’d been at Marco’s funeral. It was tense as hell thanks to Sonny and his brother showing up.
Danny showed up at Crimson and Charlotte said she was there because her mom wanted her supervised. She’d heard he was suspended. Jacinda came out and said they were cute.
Trina and Kai went to Curtis’s apartment, and Curtis said it was a nice surprise. Trina asked if Aunt Stella didn’t tell him they were coming.
Stella brought glazed donuts from Eckerd’s to Portia’s office, and Portia asked what she did to deserve them. Stella said, nothing yet. It was what she was going to do.
Brook told Chase they were about to find out if they could be Baby Phoebe’s foster parents.
At the Quartermaine’s, Michael found Willow in the living room.
Chase reminded Brook that they had their own plan to move forward no matter what happened.
Michael said no one told him that Willow waiting for him, but she said she had information for Brook and Chase about fostering Phoebe. Michael said he wanted to talk about Kai.
Stella wanted the whole family to feel invested in welcoming the baby. She wanted them to all decorate the nursery together. Portia wondered if the donuts were a bribe, but Stella said they were only a bribe if they worked. Portia asked, what about the nursery in Curtis and Jordan’s apartment? and Stella said that’s what she was trying to avoid.
Curtis asked if Stella said why, but Trina said, nope. He said, on a scale from family dinner to complete disaster, how urgent did it seem? and she said, there was no mention of the police or insurance coverage. Kai said she’d just asked them to come over, and Trina said it gave her a chance to tell Curtis something, and Curtis asked what Kai did. Trina said he was scaring her boyfriend. She wanted to tell him that she was going to be singing tonight.
Charlotte said she was on a break for a few minutes, and Jacinda said that was fine. She had plenty to do in Nina’s office, so they could catch up, but afterward, she could use Charlotte’s help to log clothing in. Charlotte thanked her, and Jacinda went into Nina’s office. Charlotte asked why Danny let that tool Hank get to him, and Danny said he should have walked away, but he couldn’t. Hank got what he deserved.
Jordan told Turner that she’d been to Marco’s funeral. She didn’t talk to Sidwell, but it was probably for the best. He thought Sonny murdered Marco and had talked to her about it more times than she could count. He was on warpath and out for blood. Turner said that was a bad thing for Port Charles. Could Jordan try to explain to Sidwell that there was no way Sonny killed Marco?
Sonny said he’d come to look Sidwell in the eye and say he had nothing to do with his son’s death, but Sidwell said Sonny had every reason to kill Marco because he’d be distracted, vulnerable, and utterly destroyed. Sonny had gotten away with far too much for far too long, but no more. Sonny said his son Morgan was murdered. He understood why Sidwell would want to avenge Marco’s death, but if Sidwell concentrated on him, he would be making a mistake. He’d be letting Marco’s actual killer go free.
Jordan said Turner must have faith in Sonny, but Turner said it wasn’t about personal feelings. Sonny had zero motive. Never mind the cold blooded way Marco was murdered. Jordan had known Sonny longer. Did she think he’d purposely start a war that could get out of control and cause potential blowback for his family? Jordan said she didn’t and hoped she could get Sidwell to see it too.
Sidwell said Sonny had used Marco to come at him when he’d kidnapped Marco. Now he’d used Marco again. Because Sonny couldn’t come at him directly, since he had proof Sonny and Mayor Collins had killed Dalton, he’d had Marco stabbed and arranged it so it wasn’t traced back to him. Sonny said, no, but Sidwell said, save his lies. Sonny wanted his son to die alone in agony and terror because he want to send Sidwell a message. Ric said, brutality was the message. That’s how they knew it wasn’t Sonny. Sonny was capable of going after his enemies and retaliating when he was harmed, but was a pragmatic man like Sidwell. He wouldn’t inflict gratuitous cruelty when he knew it was within Sidwell’s power to put him in prison.
Michael said Kai had agreed to coach Wiley, but he wanted to run it past Willow first before he told Wiley. Willow flashed back to Kai saying her cell phone sound carried to the bedroom, and said it was fine as long as Wiley didn’t feel pressured. Michael said if he did, they’d stop, but Wiley loved baseball and would love it more if he played well. Kai was a great coach and role model. He was a good guy. Otherwise, Willow wouldn’t have kept him as her intern.
Brook wondered if she and Chase had gone about this all wrong. Wiley asked them what a hooker was and they panicked, asking their congresswoman to smooth things over. It showed privilege and might work against them. Chase said, unlike Drew, Willow knew how to be tactful. Why not see what she had to say?
Stella told Portia that she thought it would mean more if they worked on it together. She wanted their homes to be connected. The baby should feel comfortable in both houses. Portia said, of course (🍷), and Stella said the baby was the next generation of Ashfords. They had to make sure the baby felt loved, adored, and valued. Portia asked how she could say no.
Trina said Charlie’s was having an open mic night for the reopening, and Kai said Trina was singing. Curtis said he’d be front and center with a bouquet. He’d have Aurora cover the reopening. It would be the night a star was born. Trina said, stop. He couldn’t come.
Danny said he knew he couldn’t change things, but felt like he should do something to stand up for his dad, and Charlotte said she’d gotten heated defending her dad. Could he do anything that would actually help? He said he didn’t think so, but maybe he could do something to make the people who did this pay. Jacinda listened in.
Michael and Willow came out, and Chase suggested they talk in the living room. Michael left and Brook thanked Willow, who said she was happy to do it. She spoke to the head of the agency and the social worker. Sarah had formed a strong opinion on them.
Charlotte said Danny was talking about making the WSB pay, but he needed to stop and take a breath. Her dad was a genius and warned Danny not to mess with the WSB. Danny said he wasn’t going to run off and do something stupid. He had a plan. He’d text her and let her know how it went. He left, and Jacinda asked if Charlotte was ready to get back to work.
Isaiah said he was glad he went to the funeral, and Portia said she felt bad for Lucas. She was glad he was there to support him. Did he give his condolences to Sidwell? He said he kept his distance, but talked to Jordan for a minute, and she asked if Jordan mentioned the nursery. Beware of Aunt Stella bearing donuts.
Trina said she’d performed for charity, but it was the first time people would be clapping when it wasn’t part of the charity, and Curtis said she had a beautiful voice. They were going to love her. Kai said that’s what he’d told her, and Trina said she loved that Curtis believed in her, but she wanted it to be chill and casual. She was nervous enough without her own cheering section. She loved him, but no. Curtis said Kai got to come, but she said Kai put her up to this. If she bombed, she’d blame him. Curtis said they were going to love her. Wait until he told her grandfather. He’d ditch his tour to be there. Get used to the fact she’d have her own cheering section.
Sonny said he’d felt the rage Sidwell was feeling. He wanted those responsible for killing his son to pay. Sidwell said they would, and Sonny said, stop thinking it was him. There was a bigger problem. Not knowing who killed Marco meant an enemy was out there who hadn’t revealed themselves yet. Ric said Sidwell had their sincere condolences, and he and Sonny left.
Willow said the social worker was impressed with how they’d handled Wiley’s poorly timed question. Her only concern was that they wanted to foster this specific baby. It was a bit unusual and she wanted to make sure they were aware it was a temporary situation.
Jacinda said even though Charlotte had been forced to work there, she was good at her job. Charlotte said, it could be worse. She’d like to pursue a career in fashion, but she was only there so she could be supervised 24/7. Her mother thought she’d contact her dad. Jacinda said she didn’t know the situation, but should her mother be concerned? Charlotte said she knew her dad was a fugitive, but had no idea where he was.
Turner told Jordan that her boss was a person of interest in the firebombing at Charlie’s last year. As his righthand person, she was in the line of fire.
Isaiah was concerned about the nursery in Portia’s home being decorated the way Curtis wanted, but Portia said they were doing it as a family. She loved that he was more annoyed than she was, and he asked if she was telling him that she was okay with this.
Curtis said once Trina was a regular at Charlie’s, he’d book her at The Savoy, when Stella arrived. She said she just talked to Portia and they were all going to decorate the baby’s nursery.
Danny went to Sonny’s, and Ric said they were doing all they could to secure his dad’s safe return, but it was a difficult situation. The law was not on their side. Danny said his grandma had explained it, but said she didn’t know if he’d ever see his dad again, and Sonny said they were doing everything they could to make sure that wasn’t the case. Danny said he wanted to make the WSB pay. They were the real criminals. Law and order wasn’t working the way it was supposed to, so he had to try another way.
Chase said they only wanted the baby to be with people who cared until she could be with her real family, and Brook said they’d be a safe place to land temporarily. Willow said she was just double checking since she’d learned the hard way, and Brook said they hadn’t found Phoebe’s family yet, but when they did, she’d go home with them. Chase said they knew she wasn’t theirs. They just wanted to help. Willow said she believed them and so did the social worker.
Jacinda said it must be hard for Charlotte to be separated from her dad, unless they didn’t get along, but Charlotte said he was the best and knew her better than anyone. Jacinda said that wasn’t the relationship she had with her dad. Charlotte’s mom was just doing this to protect her. Charlotte said she didn’t need protecting from her dad. Her mom was being unfair and so was Nina. Her dad knew what he was doing and they were wrong.
Jordan told Turner that she’d had misgivings about working for Sidwell, but unlike her other jobs, she could leave her work at the office. It gave her more time for a personal life and the timing worked out perfectly. She and Curtis had finally found themselves back each other’s lives. Turner said she was happy for them both, but didn’t Jordan miss pouring everything into her career and fulfilling her ambitions? Jordan said, sometimes, but she’d discovered her life was richer now. No one lay on their deathbed wishing they’d spent more time at the office and she liked knowing she wouldn’t wish she’d spent time with the people she loved.
Isaiah said Curtis was generous in letting Portia keep the house, but was it really hers if he decorated it? Portia said it went through her mind, and he said, if she said, no, she was the bad guy who drove a wedge between the two sides of the baby’s families. She said Stella worked her, and he asked why she said yes.
Stella said if they all helped decorate, it would be more meaningful for the baby, and Trina said she loved the idea. It was a great way to bring them together. Stell said, they’d put the past behind them and work toward the next generation of Ashfords. The baby’s foundation would be built on love and respect and family. She wondered if Curtis thought it was just another one of her whims, but he said, actually, he thought it was one of her most inspired ideas ever.
Sonny said, at Danny’s age, he’d felt the same way. That was how he ended up where he was. Danny said that was a good thing. He wanted to do what Sonny did. Sonny said he’d made a promise to himself never to have his children near his business. Danny’s father was his best friend and he didn’t want Jason’s children near it. He knew Danny didn’t understand right now, but trust him on this. This life cost too much. Danny said he had to do something, and Ric said helping his dad was honorable, but let them take care of it. He believed it’s what Danny’s dad would want. Danny said they thought he was a kid. The WSB had to pay. Sonny said he was going to take care of that, not Danny, and Danny stormed out.
Michael went to Crimson, and Charlotte left to get a latte. Michael asked how things were going, and Jacinda said she thought Charlotte was a great kid, despite the crazy things she’d been through. Michael said he sometimes wondered if Willow would have been the person she became if she hadn’t been through so much, and she asked if he’d been thinking about Willow. He said she’d been in the living room when he went to the Quartermaines. She was there to talk to Brook and Chase about being foster parents. She seemed to be taking to her new job, but something didn’t sit right with him. She told him not to worry. Things turned on a dime. They kissed.
Willow said Brook and Chase had been conditionally approved to foster Phoebe. The final paperwork would be done when she was released from GH. Chase thanked Willow and hugged her, and Willow said they were going to be great parents. It was a wonderful home and Wiley and Amelia would love spending time with the baby. Chase said he’d walk her out, and in the foyer, he said he couldn’t tell her how much it meant to them. She said she’d been a position to help and he’d done the same for her by helping exonerate her. He said she’d be a fantastic representative, and she told him that her office insisted on doing new background checks. Did he remember if Kai’s name came up during the investigation into Drew’s shooting?
Portia told Isaiah that Stella was wise and had made good points. They all had the same goal and she didn’t want the baby to live in a divided home. He asked if she got to decorate the nursery in Jordan’s apartment, but she said it wasn’t tit for tat. That would defeat the purpose. If she could accept the situation, so could he. They hugged.
Trina conferred with Stella on the nursery walls and said she loved that it was a gift for the baby from the entire family. Kai said he’d do whatever Trina told him, and Curtis said, smart man.
Sidwell talked to Marco’s picture and said, what happened here today was proof God was not watching. Sonny could stand in the same room as Marco’s ashes and try to convince him that he didn’t do what he knew in his soul Sonny did. He began to shout and said, rest assured, Sonny would be on his knees in agony, the same agony that he was in right now. He would remind Sonny of this day. Even though he knew it would not bring Marco back, it would even the score.
Sonny said it broke his heart, and Ric said him too. But Danny wasn’t his biggest problem. They had to make sure the evidence didn’t get out. They walked outside, and Danny listened in from behind some bushes. Sonny said Sidwell had gotten rid of Jason, thought he was vulnerable, and would be coming after him. Ric said he’d love to be wrong, but he didn’t think he was.
Tuesday:
Sonny congratulated Kristina for the reopening of Charlie’s (and wowza! her dress). She said she had a lot of help, and he said it was going to be a great night.
Lucy met with Brook at the Quartermaines, and Brook told her about fostering Baby Phoebe. She said they had to call in a favor, and Lucy wondered why, since they were disgustingly perfect, but Brook said they’d hit a few bumps during the screening process.
Gio was nervous about performing, but Emma told him, stop it. The pressure wasn’t on him. It was on Trina.
Jordan came home, and Curtis was looking at Trina’s vision board. He told her about the nursery project, and she wondered if Stella had a plan to decorate nursery there, but he said that depended on her.
Dante went to Lulu’s and said they’d been keeping something from him.
Britt started to leave her office and ran into Nathan. He said she was in trouble, but her brother was here to help. Britt said he only cared about himself, calling him Cassius.
Alexis was dropping Danny off at the gym and asked if he wanted to go to Charlie’s, but he said he didn’t have it in him to pretend everything was okay. Charotte showed up and said if Alexis was worried about him being alone, he wouldn’t be.
Isaiah and Portia were at the cabin and discussed dinner.
Dante asked how Rocco’s hand was, and Lulu said he’d inherited her culinary skills. A kitchen knife had gotten the better of him. Rocco said he felt bad for Danny and asked if Dante was mad at Jason, but Dante said Jason being taken away wasn’t how justice system was supposed to work. Lulu said Jason could get through anything, and Dante agreed.
Nathan was pissed about Britt calling him Cassius and said he did care about her. She said they’d only known each other two years, and he asked, what possessed her to double cross the people keeping her alive? She said they were going to kill her once they didn’t need her, but Nathan said he wouldn’t let that happen. She said they’d kill him too, and he said if she’d stop causing problems they wouldn’t have to worry. Britt wished he’d never gotten her involved, and he asked if she preferred being a drooling invalid. She only had the medicine because he convinced them that she could deliver her father’s final project. She said if she’d known what they were going to use it for, she never would have agreed, and he said, bottom line, they had a deal with Sidwell and Cullum. If she couldn’t deliver, she was on her own. He wasn’t protecting her any longer.
Trina was nervous, and Gio said he was too. He wasn’t as experienced with the guitar, but nervous energy was good.
Portia said liked coming to the cabin away from the rest of the world, and Isaiah asked if she wasn’t enthused about Stella’s project. She said she was, but as much as she loved Curtis’s family, they could be a bit intrusive and she didn’t want it to encroach on their relationship. She was glad they had refuge there and would lose her mind if they had no place to be alone.
Jordan said it was their apartment and she’d love to have Curtis’s family there. He said, even Portia? It was Stella’s idea that they work together. Jordan said, for the sake of family unity and the baby, she was fine with it. Her life with him was important and included his family. He said he was grateful for their life together.
Michael and Jacinda arrived at Charlie’s, and Michael told Josslyn that he’d talked to their mom. Things seemed strained. What was going on? Jacinda left to talk to Kristina.
Jacinda said she loved being right. Kristina slayed in the outfit. Kristina said she owed Jacinda, and Jacinda suggested a free drink.
Alexis asked if Charlotte’s mom knew she was there, and Charlotte said she had permission to spend time with Danny. Alexis said she’d be back in a couple hours to give him a ride, but Danny said Charlotte would give him a ride home. Charlotte said she was an excellent driver. Her dad taught her in Monaco. Alexis said, of course (🍷) he did, and told Danny to be home by 9 and text every half hour. She left, and Charlotte asked if Danny was okay. He said, no. His day got worse after he saw her at Crimson.
Britt said when she woke up in Croatia and saw Nathan, she’d thought she’d made it to heaven. Then she realized she was alive somehow and thought her Nathan had come back to her. Imagine her disappointment. He said Nathan was a saint and he… She said, was a pale imitation, not fit to take over Nathan’s live. He said he’d gotten her meds and was the only reason she wasn’t a vegetable, and she said she’d kept his secret even when it killed her. It was cruel to let James think his father was alive. He said James wouldn’t know the difference. He loved James and wanted to be the father theirs never was. Britt said he was walking in their father’s footsteps. Why did he partner with Cullum and Sidwell? He said, hundreds of millions of dollars, an obscene amount of power, and saving his ungrateful sister’s life. She said, if the last part was true, get her out of this mess. Convince them to give her the meds and let her walk away.
Jordan told Curtis that her life was better not being consumed by work. She still wanted to take down Sidwell, but wasn’t letting it overtake their life. He said he loved that she was putting them first this time. So was he. She said they had reservation at Luisa’s at 8. She wanted tonight to be special.
Portia said she’d come with more baggage than Isaiah bargained for and was pregnant with her ex-husband’s baby, but Isaiah said he had no problem with that. She said everything would be more complicated after the baby came and she promised not to blame him if he decided to leave.
Michael congratulated Kristina and she thanked him for helping her get her liquor license. He said he always had her back and they hugged.
Charlotte said she got why Sonny turned Danny down, but Danny said, it wasn’t a wasted trip. After he stormed out, he stayed outside and overheard Sonny and Ric. He knew who was responsible for Jason’s disappearance – Jenz Sidwell.
Lucy laughed over Wiley’s faux pas, and Brook said a Deception shipment had come in months ago, but they’d just gotten the paperwork now. Sidwell had said he was sorry they were backed up, but she believed they couldn’t do business that way. Lucy agreed, and Brook said she felt like Sidwell was getting deeper into the company and it wasn’t good. Lucy said she’d made an error in judgement that she was working hard to correct.
Nathan suggested Britt accept reality and let her fantasies die, and she asked if he knew where Jason had been taken. He said he didn’t and wondered how she thought Cullum and Sidwell wouldn’t find her. She said she was hoping to stay ahead of them until they gave up or died, and he said what about her meds? Did she think Jason would stick around when her brains and beauty were a memory? She said Jason had risked everything to protect her, and Nathan asked how that was going. She had no one to turn to but him. She said she was really screwed then, and he told her to be smart and do exactly what he said.
Isaiah told Portia that he didn’t need an out. He was in it for the long haul and committed to the relationship. She said she didn’t know how she got so lucky, and he said he felt the same. She said she was going through the worst time when she met him, and now she was going through the best time. She was never letting him go. They got busy.
At Charlie’s, Alexis told Jacinda that she was sorry for any difficulties her defense caused by going hard at her, but Jacinda said Alexis was just doing her job. In the end, it worked out. Alexis started to apologize to Michael, he said they were good. She said she appreciated it and left. Michael asked if Jacinda was sure she was okay, and she said Alexis got her to tell the truth and the last thing she wanted was beef with Kristina’s mom.
Dante said they were all upset about what was going on with Danny and asked if Rocco wanted to go to Charlie’s, but Rocco said he wasn’t in the mood. He thought he’d just go to bed. Lulu said Rocco would be fine, and Dante left.
Lucy told Brook that she’d believed Sidwell was the lifeline Deception needed. They’d all had reservations, but she’d convince them. She was the person who opened the gates and let the barbarian in. She’d made a mistake. Brook asked what she was doing to fix it, and Lucy said she was playing on Sidwell’s ego. He’d refused to choose between her and Ava, and she’d let him think he could have them both. He thought he had her where he wanted her, but she was making it impossible for him to want to cut her loose. When he wouldn’t, Ava would get jealous because she didn’t like to share. Brook wondered if Ava would break up with Sidwell, but Lucy said, never. Ava’s ego was just as big as Sidwell’s and he was her most important client. If she played her cards right, Ava would be boxed in. She’d think she had her hooks in him, but when she told him that he had to choose, he wouldn’t, and hell hath no fury like Ava rejected. She could be dangerous, and while Sidwell was dealing with the Ava mess, she’d walk in and take Deception back. Lucy’s ride came and she said she’d fill Brook in on any development.
Nathan said Britt had to repair her relationships with Cullum and Sidwell, but she said she thought Cullum would want to kill her. He’d said she was more trouble than she was worth. Jason must have stopped him from finishing her off. Nathan said Cullum wasn’t in a position to do anything. She had to smooth things over with Sidwell, convince him that she’d learned her lesson, and complete the project. She needed her meds and had to beg Sidwell for mercy. She said, right. She needed to see Sidwell. She needed to tell him that Cullum murdered his son.
Dante congratulated Kristina, and Emma said Trina and Gio were ready. Dante said he was extra happy that Gio was playing, and Emma said she thought Gio would be happy he was there.
Dante called Brook and told her to get down to Charlie’s. Gio was playing the guitar. She said she’d be right there.
Nathan asked why Cullum would kill Marco, and Britt said Marco stole vials of her medicine so she could have it reverse engineered. Cullum found out and killed him. He asked if Cullum told her that, and she said, no, but she was positive he’d tracked her from the texts on Marco’s missing phone. She’d tell Sidwell and he’d take out Cullum. It was one less problem. He said she’d have a bigger one, since her meds came from Cullum. They weren’t FDA approved and Cullum got them through his WSB contacts. Britt said she could have them reverse engineered from the vials that were left, but he said Sidwell might not believe her and tell Cullum. Keep her mouth shut. Her best bet was to get Sidwell back on her side. She said she couldn’t finish the prototype, but he said she could and she would. They left.
Danny said he’d bring down Sidwell and they’d let his dad go free, but Charlotte said he didn’t have the resources. Danny said he’d gone to Sonny, but Sonny shut him down. He had to do it on his own. She asked if he wanted to go home but he said he still needed to blow off some steam. He felt like he was stuck in place and wanted to go toward something fast. She said, good thing she had a car.
Lulu said Rocco’s hand wasn’t looking good. Red stripes meant an infection. She felt his forehead and said he was burning up.
Isaiah said he got what Portia meant. It was nice to pretend the outside world didn’t exist. His phone rang and she said he’d jinxed it. Lulu said she needed his help. Rocco’s wound was infected and for reasons she couldn’t explain, she couldn’t take him to the hospital. Would he mind making a house call? He said he’d be there in 40 minutes, and she asked him to do her a favor and not tell anyone. He said he wouldn’t and he’d see her soon. He told Portia that it was a medical emergency. He was sorry. She said hurry back.
Jordan told Curtis that they’d better go. She’d drive.
Kristina welcomed everyone to the new and improved Charlie’s and thanked her parents. There were countless others who helped her get back on her feet, and she also thanked them. Everyone applauded, and she said the one change she was most excited about was their new open mic night. To kick it off, she welcomed Trina Robinson and Gio Palmieri.
Trina sang and it was interspersed with Jordan and Curtis in the car.
As they drove, Curtis leaned over to kiss Jordan, and suddenly, she saw headlights and there was a crash.
Wednesday:
Sidwell looked at a childhood photo of Marco, when Nathan came in with Britt. Nathan said he figured Sidwell had questions and thought it best Britt answered them in person, but Sidwell said she was no longer of any use to him. Get rid of her permanently.
Carly was startled by Valentin in the living room and asked why he kept putting their lives at risk.
Charlie’s was jumping, and Josslyn hugged Trina. Trina said Josslyn wasn’t off the hook, since the Nurses Ball was their thing. It meant a lot that Josslyn used her little free time to come. Josslyn said Trina was her best friend and she wouldn’t miss it, when Ava came in and hugged Trina. She said she was sorry she missed Trina’s performance.
Gio thanked Emma for encouraging him and they kissed.
On the phone, Dante told Brook that she’d missed Gio’s performance, but their boy was fantastic. He recorded it and would text it to her.
Lulu said Rocco’s fever was going up. She hoped Dr. Gannon got there soon or she’d have to take him to the ER.
Jacinda said Michaels sister pulled off quite the opening night, and he said, good drinks, good food, and good music, but it was the company that set it apart.
Kristina said she didn’t know Gio was so good on the guitar, and Dante said his talent came from Ned, Camilla, and Brook. Brook arrived.
Josslyn ran into Kai and said she was glad he’d convinced Trian to perform. His support meant a lot to Trina and Josslyn was happy she had him.
Ava said she’d waited to show up, so Trina didn’t feel like she was intruding, and Trina said she wanted to get over the first hurdle before inviting Ava. She’d done something fun for herself and it felt good.
Nathan said he got that grief was blinding Sidwell, but he couldn’t order him to kill his sister. He’d regret it if he did. It would be a waste. Sidwell said his son was gone and Nathan’s deceitful sister was the reason he was dead, but Britt said she never wanted anything to happen to Marco. Sidwell said she wanted out and betrayed him by running off with her murderous boyfriend. She thought she would disappear. Nathan said she didn’t, and he knew Jason didn’t murder Marco on behalf of Sonny.
Rocco said they could stick with the same story at the hospital, but Lulu said Elizabeth gave them the benefit of the doubt. Someone else might ask questions they didn’t want to answer. Rocco suggested saying he’d gotten hurt at the shooting range, but she said he’d shot Director Cullum and no one knew to look at him. He said Jason had taken the fall, and she said he did it to protect Rocco and they had to honor his choice. If they weren’t quiet about it, the same thing could happen to him that happened to Jason. Isaiah arrived.
Valentin wondered if the funeral didn’t go well, and Carly said Sonny and Ric showed up. It was like a red flag to Sidwell. He asked if Sidwell was holding Sonny responsible, and Carly said Sidwell almost killed Kristina. Lucas also told her that he was going to continue living at Windymere and wouldn’t listen to her. Neither would Sonny. Neither would Valentin. She’d told him to stay upstairs and he kept coming down and exposing himself. He gave her a look, and she said she heard it too, don’t do that. She had no bandwidth to babysit him and they had to wrap this up. He asked if living with him was so difficult, but she said the problem was that he was easy to live with. He said she found him annoying, and she said she did. He said he found her annoying too, and kissed her. She said they couldn’t do this, and he said they weren’t. Her phone rang, and it was Charlotte using Danny’s phone. Carly asked what was wrong.
Curtis came to and saw Jordan was knocked out and covered with blood.
Ava said she’d be waiting for an invite to Trina’s next performance, and left. Kai asked if he’d told Trina how amazing she was, and she said a few times, but he could say it again. He said he’d rather show her, and they kissed.
Brook said she was sorry she missed Gio’s performance, but Dante said she’d have plenty of chances. He recorded it.
Jacinda said she liked that Michael’s sister was protective of him, and he said they had to watch each other’s backs growing up. Neither of them had it easy. She said it wasn’t every day that a sister pulled money from her trust fund to run her brother’s girlfriend out of town, when Kristina joined them. Jacinda said they were just talking about her.
Britt said Jason didn’t kill Marco, and Nathan said she was right. The PCPD’s timeline accounted for Jason during the window when his son was stabbed. Jason was at Port Charles High School and assaulted Commissioner Falconari. He escaped to the pier where he’d crossed paths with Cullum. If Sonny was responsible for Marco’s death, he didn’t send Jason.
Lulu thanked Isaiah, and he looked at Rocco’s hand. He said it was a good thing she called. It looked like Rocco had a staph infection, which could be dangerous if untreated. Rocco asked if he could treat it, and Isaiah said, before he did, was Lulu sure she couldn’t take him to the ER? It would be better and safer there.
Charlotte told Carly that she and Danny were both okay. She needed to speak to her dad. Since the WSB monitored her phone, she was using Danny’s. It was important. Valentin took the phone and asked, what’s up? and Charlotte said she was out with Danny and they had a little car trouble. She didn’t want to call her mom, since she’d freak out. Could he help? He said, of course (🍷), and asked where they were. Charlotte told him and said she’d drop a pin. Carly asked where Valentin was going, and he said the kids were stranded on Route 91. It was dark and no one would see him. Carly took the keys out of his hand and said she was going with him and she’d drive.
Curtis told Jordan, please wake up. He smelled gas and had to get her out of there. He undid her seatbelt and got out. He stumbled and went around the car. The car began to spark, and he said he couldn’t get the door open. He needed her to wake up. They didn’t have a lot of time. He got a crowbar out of the trunk and tried to pry the door open, but had no luck.
As Carly drove, she and Valentin saw the accident, and Valentin told her to pull over.
Brook told Gio that she was sorry she missed his performance. She heard he was fantastic. He said, Trina was the star, but he’d wanted to talk to her about something. She said, of course (🍷), and they stepped away. Dante asked Emma if she had any update on her grandmother.
Gio told Brook that the performance just kind of happened, but was all about Trina. He felt like he’d excluded her, but that wasn’t his intention. He wished he’d told her, since it would have been nice to look out and see her in the audience.
Kristina said she hoped they were saying nice things about her, and Michael said they were impressed at how she’d pulled this together. Jacinda said she was impressed at how Kristina went to the matt for Michael, and Kristina said, of course (🍷). She’d do anything for him and he knew that. Jacinda asked if that included bribery, and Kristina said she had no idea what Jacinda was talking about. It was a potential relocation fee.
Lulu said going to the hospital, so if Isaiah could handle it there, she’d appreciate it. Rocco said him too, and Isaiah told them, say no more. He was going to clean the wound and inject Rocco with antibiotics for the infection. Then he’d give Rocco a strong oral course of antibiotics. If they caught the infection in time, he should be fine. Rocco said, and if they didn’t?
Britt told Sidwell that all she and Jason wanted was to get away. They weren’t trying to hurt anyone. Sidwell said, yet Jason shot Cullum. He supposed it was an accident. Britt said Jason was trying protect her, and Sidwell said all he saw was her begging for mercy. It was lucky Jason didn’t kill Cullum. Who else would supply the medication that kept her from degenerating? Nathan said Britt was willing to do what it took to make things right, and Sidwell said she had convenient timing. Nathan said Britt was sorry and willing to do whatever it took to gain Sidwell’s trust back and have access to her medication.
Curtis looked for his phone and told Jordan, hang on. He found his phone on the ground, but the screen was cracked. The car sparked some more, and he said, sorry. He’d have to take her out the window. He heard someone approach and said, over here! Valentin came out of the shadows. (Surprise! Curtis didn’t even react.)
Emma said her grandma’s doctors said there was no sign of improvement, and Dante said he was sorry. She said she wished there was something she could do, and he said, when he was with the WSB, he went through something similar. It took him a while to come back, but he did it and Anna could too. She thanked him and said she hoped so. The toughest part was that Anna thought Faison was alive and wanted to protect her. She wished Anna could see she wasn’t in danger. Josslyn said she couldn’t help overhearing and asked if Emma had any idea why Anna thought Faison was alive. It seemed random. Emma said, no. Her doctors were trying to figure it out. Why did she ask?
Rocco said it already felt better than it did, and Isaiah told him to keep the wound dry and take the entire course of antibiotics. Don’t skip any doses and don’t take them on an empty stomach. Rocco said he was tired and went upstairs.
Britt told Sidwell that she was wrong. Jason talked her into running away and it was stupid. She’d do whatever he wanted. She’d finish her father’s project. Just don’t kill her please. Ava came in and said, sorry to interrupt… Was somebody under arrest?
Valentin called 911, but Curtis said they had no time to wait. The care was leaking gas and they had to get Jordan out now.
Carly found Charlotte and Danny, along with a crunched car, and asked if they were okay. Charlotte said they were fine. It looked worse than it was. Carly said this wasn’t car trouble. They’d crashed it. Charlotte asked where her dad was, but Carly said, he couldn’t make it. Danny said they’d gone for a ride and he was driving, and Carly told them, get in her car now.
Jacinda told Michael that she felt bad. Kristina had worked hard to create an amazing opening night, but was too busy working to enjoy it. Success should be celebrated.
Josslyn said she’d found The Crystalline Conspiracy in the library, and Emma asked what that had to do with her grandma. Josslyn said the woman on the cover looked exactly like Anna, so she looked it up. The name of the author was P.K. Sinclair. Emma wondered what that had to do with anything, and Josslyn said she learned it was a pseudonym for Cesar Faison. She hoped she hadn’t overstepped.
Jacinda said she had to ask Gio a favor.
Ava asked if Detective West was harassing Sidwell. She’d call his lawyer. Sidwell said it was all right. No one was being harassed. Nathan brought his sister there because he’d wanted to discuss a project she was working on for him. He told Britt that he expected no more delays, and she said, no more delays. Sidwell said they were all on the same page then, and Nathan thanked him for his time. He and Britt left, and Ava said, that was interesting. Sidwell said Ava knew Britt was recently involved in a public altercation with the WSB and he suspected she didn’t believe Britt. Ava said, not for a moment.
Lulu thanked Isaiah and said she knew she owed him an explanation, but he said she didn’t. She was Lucky’s sister and if she called, he’d show up. She said he’d shown up for her in a huge way, then showed up for her son. She wouldn’t forget it. He said he wasn’t asking any questions, but if she took Rocco to the hospital, someone else absolutely would. Was she prepared for that?
Valentin and Curtis got the car door open and got Jordan out. Curtis said, put her on the ground as far away as possible, and they went several feet, when the car blew up.
Jacinda took the mic and said, tonight was a rousing success. Let’s hear it for the incredible staff. Everyone applauded, and she said, and for her friend, the one who made it all happen – Kristina Corinthos-Davis. There was more applause, and Jacinda said it was her turn to celebrate Charlie’s grand reopening. Hit it, Gio. Gio began to play, and Dante thought about not wanting Josslyn to be in the WSB.
Curtis and Valentin turned Jordan over, and Cutis said she was going to be okay. He wasn’t going to lose her. He couldn’t lose her. Valentin said help was on the way, and jetted. Curtis told Jordan, please hold on.
Ava said she’d stopped by to see how Sidwell was doing. She knew what it was like to lose a child and would like to help if she could. Although if he felt she was just one more person to put his guard up around, of course (🍷) she could go. He said he didn’t want to be alone. He knew Marco wasn’t coming home, but found himself listening for him. He could do with a distraction. She asked, what happened with Sonny after the funeral? She’d been concerned for him. He said Sonny insisted he wasn’t responsible for Marco’s death, and by targeting Sonny in retaliation, he’d overlook the real killer. She knew Sonny very well. What did she think? She said she wasn’t a disinterested party. Sonny was her daughter’s father, but he was also her brother’s killer. He said he appreciated her candor, and she said she’d always be honest with him. He said he was glad to hear it. He’d exchanged confidences with her that he wouldn’t normally. He was glad to be able to do so. Please don’t make him regret it.
Britt asked why Nathan stopped her from telling Sidwell that Cullum killed Marco, and he asked what she wasn’t getting. Sidwell would kill Cullum and he was her only source for her medication. Did she want to die? She said, not yet, and he said he wanted his sister to live, but he’d gone as far as he was going to. Don’t expect him to come through for her a second time.
Lulu asked if Isaiah thought she was making a mistake. She didn’t want to risk Rocco’s life for a secret. He said he thought the infection had been caught in time, but keep a close eye on it for the next 48 hours. If Rocco’s temperature went back to normal and stayed there, he should be fine. She thanked him and said she’d never ask him to keep it secret if Rocco’s entire future wasn’t hanging on it. He said he understood. No one would know he was treating Rocco. He left.
The audience at Charlie’s applauded, and Trina said, Jacinda was good. (Too bad we didn’t get to hear it.) Kai said, if she asked him, the performance of the night went to her, and they kissed.
Brook said Gio was so good, and Emma said she was glad Brook got to see him perform. Brook said, it was worth the trip.
At home on the phone, Carly thanked Tony and asked him to repair the car, then deliver it back to her. It was a top priority and there was to be no record. Don’t take Route 91… That’s why Corinthos towing was the best. Charlotte asked why her dad wasn’t with Carly, and Carly said he’d stopped to help someone. There was an accident a few miles down the road. Did they cause it?
Curtis told Jordan that the ambulance was there. They’d take her to the hospital and everything would be okay. He called to the paramedics, saying, over here! and told Jordan to stay with him. Fight. He loved her. Stay with him. She could do this.
Thursday:
Kristina was surprised Jacinda could sing, and Michael said she brought the house down. He loved that he was learning new things about her. (Again, would have been nice if we heard her sing. Apparently, the actress has an amazing voice.)
Isaiah came back to the cabin and said his patient required more time than anticipated. Portia said she’d called the hospital and they hadn’t seen him. What was going on?
Kai said tonight had been a huge success, and Trina said it felt so good performing again. He said he had the feeling she might be in trouble with someone.
Brook found Tracy in the living room, and Tracy said her arts council meeting ran late. Where was Brook so late?
Valentin asked Carly to call Charlotte, but she said the situation was handled and they had a more pressing matter. Curtis saw him. Valentin said Curtis hadn’t seen her, but she said she wasn’t worried about herself. It was only a matter of time before Curtis told someone who helped him.
Jordan was wheeled into the hospital and the EMTs said a bunch of medical stuff. Lucas asked Elizabeth to page Dr. Parker.
Trina said she’d be in trouble with her dad, but Kai said he had a recording that he’d send over for a small fee. She kissed him and he said, consider it sent. Emma wondered why Trina had been nervous since she’d sung at the Nurses Ball, and Trina said they were obligated to clap there. Kristina said she’d been fantastic. It was the perfect way open up, and any time Trina and Gio wanted a repeat, the mic was theirs. Trina said, if Gio was game, and he said it reminded him of how much he missed this. He was in too.
Brook said Gio had played at Charlie’s, but Tracy said she didn’t think Charlie’s crowd appreciated the violin. Brook said he’d played guitar, but was just as skilled on it. Tracy asked why no one thought to inform her, and Brook said she didn’t know until Dante called and Tracy was already at her meeting. Tracy said, Gio called Dante and not Brook?
Isaiah told Portia that it was a house call for a private patient who would need to be monitored moving forward.
Curtis paced, and Elizabeth said they were working to stabilize Jordan. Her vitals were unpredictable, and they were concerned about internal injuries. Curtis told her to make sure they knew Jordan had one kidney, but Elizabeth said it was in her chart and factored in. Curtis said, please save her, and Elizabeth said they were doing everything possible.
Valentin told Carly that Curtis wouldn’t say anything. He wouldn’t have gotten Jordan out without him and owed him. They needed to be worried if Charlotte and Danny were involved. Carly said, they weren’t and they were oblivious of the accident. She’d called Sonny’s towing company and they’d take care of the car with no paper trail. Valentin said Charlotte was a very accomplished liar. He’d taught her to listen close to people and tell them what they wanted to hear. Carly said she’d arrange for him to talk to Charlotte tomorrow and wondered if he’d been lying to her the whole time and telling her what she wanted to hear.
Curtis called Trina and said he and Jordan had been in a car accident. He was okay, but Jordan was hurt bad. They weren’t sure how bad yet. Trina said she’d be right there, and explained what happened to Michael before she and Kai left.
Brook told Tracy that Dante had been at Charlie’s reopening while she and Lucy were discussing things at the house. Tracy saw the wine glasses and asked if they’d been celebrating something, like maybe Brook and Chase fostering Phoebe, and Brook said, maybe. After Lucy left, Dante called, but by the time she got there, Gio had finished playing.
Valentin said, if he’d been lying, he would have told Carly that he was fine with her still being with Jack. He didn’t like her stringing Jack along and posing as his lover. He knew he’d pushed her to do it for the good of their plan, but things had escalated between them. He wanted her to break it off. He didn’t offer honesty easily, but she made him want to. She asked what else he wanted to be honest about, when the doorbell rang. He asked if she was expecting someone, but she said, of course (🍷) not.
Michael told Jacinda about the car accident and said he was going to the hospital, but she should stay and celebrate. He and Curtis had been friends a long time and he hoped Curtis was okay. He left, and Jacinda said Michael put up a tough front, but was a softie underneath. Kristina said that’s what made him a great guy.
Gio felt bad about Trina, but Emma said, at least her dad was okay. Gio said that was more important than any of this, and Emma said he had a big night in his own way. It was a big deal that his family was there. He said, since he’d broken his violin at the Nurses Ball, it was the first time he’d played in front of both of his parents, and she asked how he felt.
Brook showed Tracy the video of Gio, and Tracy said her parents would have loved seeing him. Brook sent the video to Tracy, Ned, and Olivia, and apologized for not inviting Tracy. Tracy said music was a significant part of Gio’s life and a loaded subject, and Brook said she got lucky and saw a second impromptu performance. It was spectacular.
Dr. Parker said Jordan’s vitals were holding steady, but the internal bleeding was severe and concentrated around the kidney. She needed emergency surgery. He asked Elizabeth to prep the OR.
Trina arrived at the hospital and asked how Curtis was. He said he was fine, but he was worried about Jordan. She’d been hurt bad and he’d gotten no updates. Chase joined them and asked how Curtis was feeling. Curtis said he was okay, and Chase said he needed help with the accident report. It was best when it was fresh in his mind. Curtis said, fine, and Chase said, walk him through what happened tonight.
Portia and Isaiah kissed, and he said when the baby came, these nights would be a distant memory. Portia’s phone rang and she said it was Trina. She asked if everything was okay, and Trina said she was fine, but her dad and Jordan were in a car accident. She was at GH and her dad was fine, but Jordan was hurt and it sounded bad.
Carly opened the door to Jack, who said he needed to talk to her. She said unless he had information on Jason, they had nothing to discuss, and he said, as a matter of fact, he did. Valentin hid on the patio, and Carly asked what Jack found out. Jack said Jason was in a WSB black site in Jakarta where the security was like Steinmauer, and she said she wanted to see him, but Jack said that wasn’t possible. She asked about calling, but he said that wasn’t possible either. He’d keep working at generating contact despite the risk. Jason’s information was on lockdown and he had to hack into a WSB server. If he wasn’t careful, he’d end up in a cell next to Jason. (Speaking of, where’s Spinelli in all this?) Carly said it was his choice. She hadn’t asked him to do it. He said he did it for her, while Valentin listened in.
Portia told Isaiah about the accident and said Curtis was fine, but Jordan was hurt badly.
Chase said, so Curtis was on Route 91, going to dinner, and Curtis said they were going to Luisa’s. Curtis said, Jordan was driving and took her eyes off the road for a second. The oncoming headlights and horn probably startled her and she lost control. He woke up in the wreckage. Chase asked if he had any idea how long he was unconscious, but Curtis said, no. Jordan was slumped over the steering wheel when he came to, and he checked her pulse. He got himself out, but his cell wasn’t working – it was smashed – and the door was jammed. Chase asked how he got it open, and Curtis flashed back to seeing Valentin, but told Chase that he got a crowbar out of the trunk and managed to pry it open. Michael came into the hospital and told Trina that he’d come from Charlie’s.
Jack said he and Carly both knew he’d done things he couldn’t justify defending. She knew the deal, that there were parts of his life he couldn’t share. She’d said she was okay with it. Carly said she wanted to be, but his WSB world crashed in on her family. Jason was gone and what the hell happened to Vaughn? Josslyn hadn’t even gotten a hello. Jack wondered why, when it came to Jason and Sonny, she could accept their dark truths and look the other way and make peace with it. How come he didn’t get that? He never felt this way before. When Valentin poisoned her, it was the worst night of his life. Valentin continued to listen, and Jack said he couldn’t lose her then and he couldn’t lose her now. He loved her and wanted a future with her, but that could only happen if she felt the same way. If she didn’t, say so, and he’d walk away. What did she want?
Tracy said, Jacinda sang and Gio accompanied her? It was lucky Olivia wasn’t there. She would have gone into cardiac arrest. Brook said she loved Olivia, but was glad noting happened to ruin tonight. It was amazing to see Gio play. He was totally in his element. She couldn’t believe how far they’d come. After the Nurses Ball, she didn’t think he’d speak to her again. They’d had a few moments, but tonight felt different. They’d reached a turning point. She felt like she was getting everything she’d ever wanted.
Gio told Emma that both of his parents were at the Nurses Ball when he’d performed. He was so angry, he smashed his violin. He wanted to hurt them and make them feel pain like they’d caused him. Emma said they’d been just as in the dark as he was, and he said they were the last people he thought he’d play for again. She said Jacinda didn’t give him time to rethink it, and he said he saw Dante, Brook, and her… She took his hand, and he said seeing the expressions on their faces reminded him of how his mom used to look at him. He didn’t realize how much he’d missed it. He would have never gotten to that place without her. She never told him how to feel. She just listened and let him know he wasn’t alone. It was the greatest feeling in the world. He asked if she was ready to go, and they kissed.
Carly said Jack was supposed to be different. Someone she could trust and love again. He said he was, and she said she’d given him parts of herself that she hadn’t given in a long time, but he ruined it. The WSB hurt someone she loved and she couldn’t move past that, but she also couldn’t forget he’d risked his career and freedom to help Jason. She needed him. The truth was, there were things only he could give her. Valentin was still listening and half-peeking in, and Jack said, anything. It was hers. He was hers. She kissed him and they went upstairs.
Tracy said Gio was lucky to have Brook as a mother. She’d fought to have a relationship with him. The Quartermaine history was fraught with estrangements, but they always found a way back to each other. She and Brook hugged.
Portia said she knew Isaiah and Jordan used to be close. If he wanted to talk… Isaiah asked if Trina said how bad Jordan’s injuries were, but she said Trina didn’t know more than the basic information. He said he had to go to the hospital.
Curtis asked how Jordan was, and Lucas said she was stable, but there was internal bleeding. Her one kidney was taking precedence in all procedures. Dr. Parker was going to operate now. Jordan was wheeled out, and Curtis asked if he could talk to her. Lucas said, make it quick, and Curtis said she was going to be okay. She had this. She was the same strong woman he’d met in Baltimore. She was one of the strongest people he knew. She was a fighter and he needed her to fight for him, for them. Lucas said, sorry. They had to go. Curtis said he loved Jordan and would be there when she woke up, and Jordan was wheeled away.
Trina asked if Elizabeth would do her a favor. Her dad needed to be examined by a doctor to make sure he was fine. Elizabeth said, of course (🍷). She’d go get someone. Trina told Curtis that Jordan would be in surgery for a while and there was nothing to do but wait. Elizabeth was getting a doctor to examine him. It would make her feel better. Curtis said, sure, and Chase said, one more thing. Did he remember any details of the other car or driver? Curtis said, it happened so fast. All he remembered was the horn and the headlights. What he could say was, whoever the driver was, they just kept going and left them for dead.
Portia said she wouldn’t go to the hospital unless Trina needed her, but if Isaiah wanted to be there for Jordan, he should go. He said, no. He’d just pray for her. It wasn’t his place and Curtis would get upset anyway. She said it was probably a good call. Car accidents were scary because they were unpredictable. Every time you got in a car, you took a risk of losing your life. He’d been out there too, and it could just as easily have been him.
Tracy said she was happy that Brook and Gio had a breakthrough. Even if Brook had called, she didn’t think she would have made it on time to hear Gio perform. There was a terrible accident on Route 91 and she was held up for 30 minutes.
Kristina told Jacinda that after breaking up with Allie, the fall, and losing her daughter, she was in a dark place for a while. It felt like the new version of Charlie’s was her next chapter. Jacinda said Kristina was amazing. She was glad she could celebrate with her. She’d been a good friend. Kristina never judged her or used her past against her. Kristina said it wasn’t her style, and Jacinda said her neither. Still, she admired Kristina. She could have given up and stayed stuck in darkness, but she refocused her pain and energy, and turned it into this. To get up after life knocked you down wasn’t easy, but you had to get back up. You never knew what you’d find next. Right when she’d thought she could handle things, something came around she never expected. Michael came in, and Kristina asked how Curtis was. He said Curtis was hanging in there. He felt like it should just be family, but Curtis knew he could call him. Jacinda said he came back to her, and he said, of course (🍷).
Emma and Gio exchanged I love yous and got busy.
Jack and Carly went to the bedroom while Valentin wandered around, then got a drink. Jack and Carly got busy, and Valentin listened for a moment at the stairs. He went back outside, put his hood up, and left.
As they got busy, Carly imagined Jack was Valentin.
🫔 Friday’s Enchilada…
Carly says, given Jack’s track record and schedule, she’s impressed by his optimism, and he says he’s impressed by her every single day. He thanks her for giving him a second chance.
Cody carries Molly to the couch, and she asks if he’s really going to be carrying her everywhere. He says she’s supposed to be resting. Plus, it gives his arms a nice little pump. She says, hey, nothing said under the influence of anesthesia is admissible. Plus, she can walk. Even he has to admit this is a little unnecessary. He puts her on the couch and says, true, but isn’t it more fun? She says, actually, it is, and he gets on the couch with her.
Ric tells Sonny that he’ll get the paperwork to the harbormaster in Rochester, and Sonny thanks him. Sonny says, one more thing. He’s been thinking about Danny. Ric says, and how he wants to work outside the system, like some people they know? Well, Danny is Jason’s son, so he supposes it was only a matter of time, but he thinks Sonny handled it well. Sonny isn’t so sure, but Ric says, he made it clear that Jason wouldn’t want that for Danny. Even if he did, Danny’s too young. He’s just a kid. Sonny says, but he’s not. He’s growing up, and given who his parents are, he’s not going to not do this because Sonny doesn’t want him to do it. Ric says, yeah, he did inherit Sam’s determination, and Sonny says, and Jason. That’s why Alexis needs to know that Danny came to him, so she can keep a close eye on him. Ric says he agrees 100%, and Sonny says, good. Go tell her.
In the living room, Willow wipes Drew’s arm and tells him, the site’s a little irritated. No big deal. This happens with G tubes. She’ll get Travis to clean it more often and of course (🍷) she’ll keep an eye on it herself, even though she’s incredibly busy with her congressional duties. Everyone in the caucus has been so welcoming. They seem relieved that she’s making the job her own and trying to make things better for her constituents, instead of using her office to try and carry out personal grudges like he did. It’s a wonderful feeling helping people and she’s doing it on both a small and big scale. She already helped get education reforms passed, and wrote the language for the bill that’ll put a cap on prescription prices, and used her position to help Brook and Chase become foster parents. She walked on air for an entire day. There’s an urgent knock at the door, and she says she’ll be right back. She opens the door to Nina and asks if everything is okay. Nina says they have a situation and she doesn’t know what to do, and Willow says, okay, okay. Just take a breath. Tell her what’s going on. Nina asks if Drew has to be here. She really needs to talk to Willow alone.
At the hospital on the phone, Curtis says, of course (🍷). Of course (🍷) he’ll keep them posted. Okay. All right, Trina. Be careful, okay?… All right. Laura comes out of the elevator, and Curtis says he loves Trina too. Laura goes over to him and says she heard about the accident. Please tell her, how’s Jordan? He says, she was in surgery for hours, but she pulled through, and Laura says, thank God. He says, Dr. Jones says it was touch and go for a while, but they were able to save her one kidney, and Laura asks if she’s still in recovery. He says, yeah. He should be able to see her when they move her to ICU. She says, they both know how strong she is, right? and he says, yeah, but she was trapped in that car for almost an hour. Her condition is critical. Dr. Jones says that’s all they can tell him until she regains consciousness. Who knows when that will be? He just got Jordan back. He can’t lose her. Laura says she knows that Jordan is fighting with everything she has to stay with him and she’s not about to give up now.
Willow says they’re alone. She gave Travis the afternoon off and it’s not like Drew can repeat anything he hears. Nina says she doesn’t care. It’s not like he’s the Mona Lisa. It’s creepy the way his eyes follow her around. She tells Drew that she knows he’s in there listening to everything. She can’t even imagine what it’s like being stuck in there, the hell he’s going through, but after everything he’s done to Willow, to her, to so many people… You know, karma’s a bitch. The part she hates the most is that she feels sorry for him and her pity must make him hate her even more. Willow says, okay. Nina’s clearly upset. Just tell her what’s bothering her. Nina says, okay, but he can’t stay, and Willow says, okay. She’ll put him in the bedroom, but Nina is being ridiculous. There’s nothing Drew can do to them now.
Cody asks if Molly is okay, and she says, yeah. She took an aspirin, so she’ll be okay. The doctor said she’d be sore for a week or two. He says, okay, but how is she feeling right this second? She says, not bad. It’s nothing compared to her flare-ups. He gives her a heating pad and says he hates that she’s in pain for so long. She says, it’s her own fault. She buried herself in work and ignored everything else. He says, including her health, and she says, except when her health interfered with work. Fear not. Those days are over and he’s a big part of the reason why. He says he is? and kisses her.
Ric says, so Sonny wants him to tell Alexis that her grandson is going to possibly join the mob. She’s going to hit the roof. Sonny says he and Alexis are doing good right now. He doesn’t want to rock the boat. Ric says, oh. So Sonny wants to throw him into those shark infested waters, right? Sonny says, and make sure she understands that he talked to his people, and if Danny approaches them, they’re not going to cooperate. Ric asks how he feels about hazard pay. This is Alexis they’re talking about. Sonny says, hazard pay in this case is fair, and Ric says, before he goes, there’s one more thing they need to talk about – the Sidwell situation. The man is still very much a threat. Sonny says, yeah. He was still angry when they left the church, but he thinks Sidwell heard him. Ric says, what Sonny said to him after Marco’s funeral may have had an impact, but they still need to be prepared if he decides to retaliate.
Curtis tells Laura that when he came to after the crash and he looked over and saw Jordan bleeding and broken – Laura says, oh my God – he knew he had to get her out of there. Laura says, yes, of course (🍷), and he says, her car was leaking gasoline. He knew he had to move quickly. He couldn’t risk taking her out the passenger side. It was too dangerous and he knew he’d wasted too much time trying to pry that driver’s side door open. And he probably wasn’t as careful getting her out as he could have been. What if he made things worse? What if Jordan is paralyzed because of the way he moved her? Laura asks if there wasn’t an explosion, and he says, yeah. The car blew up and almost killed them. Laura says, my God, and he says he knows. She says, honestly, she thinks it’s amazing that he managed to get her out of that wreck at all and he did it by himself. He flashes back to Valentin calling 911, and telling him that they don’t have time for that. They have to get her out now. Be careful not to make things worse. He tells Laura, yeah. It was a miracle. He can’t do all this waiting. He held it together for the cops. he held it together for Trina. He held it together for TJ (who?) over the phone. He doesn’t know how he’s keeping it together for himself. That’s why he told his family to go home. She says she’s not worried about him losing it with her, but if he would prefer privacy, she gets that. She’s parked right out front. If he wants, he can sit in her car. He can yell, he can scream, he can beat the hell out of that steering wheel. She hands him the keys and says, it’s all for him if he wants. He says he guesses the only thing he can do now is prepare for the worst. He thanks her and says he’s extremely grateful for her company, and she says she’s grateful she was able to be here with him. She hugs him and sees Sidwell on the other side of the reception desk.
Carly says she’s grateful Jack came by last night, and hugs him. He says him too. The way they left things, he wanted her to know he located Jason right away. She says, it’s definitely a relief knowing where he is and that he’s alive, and he says he meant what he said. Anything for her. She says she knows he put himself on the line getting that information for her, and he says now he has to go to the WSB and prove how invaluable he is by locating Valentin Cassadine. She wonders if she can ask why that’s still so important. Didn’t he escape months ago? He says, she can ask and that’s actually one he can answer. Aside from the fact Valentin escaped on his watch, they want him for the same reason they always have, the same reason he had Valentin transferred from Steinmauer. He has intel on Faison and Sidwell. He may even give them an idea as to why Sidwell joined forces with Faison in the first place. So wish him luck. She says, luck, and Jack leaves. She turns around to see Valentin, and says, oh my God. What is wrong with him? He says he sees how it is, and she says, he sees how what is? He says, tell him something. How long before she turns on him?
Cody sees a wrapped package on the porch and brings it in. He asks, who’s giving his girlfriend presents? and Molly reaches for the package. She says, here. It’s from her publisher. He gives it to her and she rips the paper off. She says, her galley, and shows him Laredo Sunrise * Molly Lansing-Davis. He asks if they forgot to print the cover, but she says, gallies don’t have the final cover. This is just a copy for her to make any last minute changes or corrections before it goes to print. Usually they send it digitally, but she requested a hard copy. This way it… He says, feels more real, and she says, yeah. Look. Molly Lansing-Davis. There’s her name right there in print. He says he’s so proud of her. She’s not going to change anything, is she? She says, actually, there is one thing she needs to be sure about, and he says, what’s that? She says, him. If there is anything in this book that makes him uncomfortable, she can and happily will rewrite it. He says, but she worked so hard on it. Kristina loved it. Her agent loved it. She says, that’s great, but she wants to know what he thinks. Doesn’t he get it? He is so much more important than some book.
Laura tells Curtis that she’ll be right back and goes over to Sidwell. She asks why he’s here, and he says he’d like to speak to Mr. Ashford, but she says, please, no. Not right now. Please walk with her just for a moment. He says, look. Jordan was not just his COO. He considered her a friend, so naturally, he’s very worried about her. She says, that’s very nice of him. She’ll pass his concerns on to Curtis. He says, also, he has questions about this car crash, and she says, Curtis has been awake all night, not knowing whether Jordan would live or die. They still don’t know, by the way. He hasn’t been able to see her. It’s just not the right time to question him, okay? Just have some compassion. He says, the same compassion that led her to call a press conference distancing herself from Jason Morgan, but not mentioning his murdered son? and she says, it was compassion that led her to attend Marco’s funeral, despite what he’s done to her, to her city, and to her son. He says, allegedly did. She can let all of that go. She says she allegedly has. Marco was his son. She recognized his profound loss. He says she does have great generosity of spirit. It knows no bounds. She says, these kinds of tragedies, they force them to see the humanity in each other, don’t they? She’s seen his. She’s asking him to do the same for Curtis right now. Turner comes out of the elevator, and he says, very well. He’ll get his answers somewhere else.
Willow tells Nina, okay. Drew’s in the bedroom and out of earshot. What’s the problem? Nina says, Jack Brennan is the problem. If Charlotte knows where her father is, Charlotte’s not telling her. No matter how hard or how often she tries to get her to say something. Willow asks if Jack is going to release the traffic cam footage, and Nina says, well, he hasn’t pulled the trigger yet, but he said he has another way to find Valentin. And if this other way comes through for him before she does, he’ll release the footage out of pure spite. Willow says, he can’t do that. If people find out that she was on the street close to the time Drew was shot… Nina says, it will look like she shot Drew and got away with it. Thankfully, she’s protected by double jeopardy. They can’t charge her again. Willow says, but it’s still enough to destroy any sort of career in politics that she might have. And Michael will convince the court to grant him full custody. She can’t lose her kids. Nina says she doesn’t want that either, and Willow asks if she’s sure there’s nothing Charlotte can tell her that would get Brennan to back down. Nina says, after Valentin escaped, she thinks he may have contacted Charlotte, but she’s really not saying anything, and Willow says, then she has to try harder. Nina says she’s sorry, but she doesn’t think she can.
Carly tells Valentin, this is ridiculous. She’s not going to turn on him. He says he thinks she’s going soft on Jack. He thinks she’s trying to convince herself that he’s a good man so she can justify falling for him in the first place. She says she knows Jack’s not a good man, and he says, she’s going to double cross him. He could see the guilt in her eyes last night. She says, not everything is about him, but he’s right about one thing. She does feel something, but it’s not guilt. It’s not, but man, it’s close. He says, why? and she says, because Jack loves her and she’s just using him.
Sonny says he’s more convinced that Sidwell will realize he’s not the one he should go after, and Ric asks what makes Sonny think Sidwell is suddenly going to come to his senses? Sonny says, because at the time, he wasn’t a businessman. He was a grieving father who lost a child and that cuts deep. Yeah, Sidwell still sees him as a rival businessman and wants him gone, but after the first wave of grief is over, Sidwell will know that he has no connection to Marco’s murder. Ric says, Sidwell doesn’t strike him as the kind of person who cares about the burden of proof, and Sonny shoves Ric’s briefcase in his hands and says, once Sidwell can’t stop denying that he didn’t kill Marco, he’s going to go after the person who did. Ric says, Sonny made it very clear that targeting him is only going to focus on somebody who’s not the real murderer. Hopefully, it’s enough for Sidwell to focus on his other enemies.
Sidwell asks if he can please have a minute of Turner’s time, but she says she’s sorry. She actually doesn’t have any time right now. Excuse her. As Sidwell watches, she goes over to Curtis and asks how he’s doing, and Curtis says, if she’s here to question him, he already spoke to the police. She says, actually, she’s here because she and Jordan have been taking yoga together and she’d like to think they’re becoming friends, and he says, right. She said as much. He’s sorry if he was rude. She says, no. It’s been a long night. How is she doing? He says, she made it through a long and difficult surgery and now she’s in recovery before they move her to ICU. So he should be able to see her soon. She says, that’s good news, all things considered. And once he can see her, his presence will do her a world of good. He says, let’s hope so, and she says she wanted to tell him, the other day after yoga, she and Jordan were talking about priorities. She made it very clear that he was hers. He thanks her for sharing that with him, and she puts her hand on his knee. Laura comes back and asks if she can have a word with Turner, and Turner says, of course (🍷). They step away, and Laura says, a favor? Mr. Sidwell has questions about Jordan’s accident. She’s trying to keep him away from Curtis at the moment, so she’d hate to escalate the situation by calling in security… Turner tells her, say no more. She’ll handle Mr. Sidwell.
Willow says, Nina has to try. Her entire future is at stake. Nina says, so is Charlotte’s. If Charlotte confides in her and her father is caught and sent to prison, she’s a smart girl and is going to know Nina betrayed her. Willow says, Nina is worried Charlotte won’t forgive her? but Nina says, no. She’s worried Charlotte is going to lose her father and blame herself because she trusted her. And that will devastate her. Willow says she understands and feels for Charlotte, but as much as Charlotte needs her father, Wiley and Amelia need her. And if Nina doesn’t give Brennan what he wants, her kids – Nina’s grandchildren – will grow up without their mother. Nina says she knows and she’s been stalling Brennan to try to come up with a plan to protect Willow and Charlotte, but she’s now running out of time. Willow says, Brennan is using Nina’s love for her as leverage, right? Nina says, yeah, and Willow says, so they need to do the same thing with him. Nina says, and they both know there’s only one person Brennan loves.
Valentin says, it’s good Carly has been using Jack. Jack has been using everyone he has ever met his entire life. Carly says, okay. Does he doubt that Jack put his career on the line to find Jason for her? He says, no. That was a risk. She says, it’s big of him to admit that, and he says, so Jack’s a hero now? Everything is forgiven? She says, no, but she knows him and she can see that he hates lying to her, and Valentin says, Carly… She says, it’s the truth. He loves her and he wants to let her in. And he knows recruiting Josslyn was wrong and she can see every time she’s with him that he regrets it. Valentin says, who cares if he regrets it? He still hasn’t told her the truth, has he? And what happens if he does? What happens if one day he confesses that he has recruited Josslyn to the WSB? What happens then? She feels sympathy for him then? She forgives him?
Molly says she hates that Cody was hurt by the way she wrote Casey. Looking back, she realizes that she was just scared to admit how much she liked him. That’s why she was so hard on him. He flips through the book and says, yeah. She definitely didn’t like him in the beginning. She says, well, he got them stuck on a roof, and he says, she’s still going to blame him for that? She says, it doesn’t matter if she blames him or not. It was his fault. He says he can see that, and she says, but then, her car broke down and he came to her rescue, carrying her to safety on horseback. He says, given her love of horses, it was all he could do to keep her from yanking the reins, and she says, that’s when she realized, she couldn’t stop thinking about him. He wonders what took her so long, and she says, as much as she’s insisted that Casey wasn’t him, he’s the reason this book exists.
Turner tells Sidwell that she’s so sorry about before. She has some time now. What can she do for him? He says he appreciates that. He just wanted to ask if the PCPD is investigating Jordan’s car crash as an attempted murder. She says, although Jordan swerved to avoid another vehicle, they’re treating it as a single car accident, and he says, accident? How can she be so naïve? She says, about? and he says, Jordan is a trusted executive at SRE, his company. First, his son is murdered. Now, Jordan is critically injured. She says she’s not seeing the connection, and he says he’s the connection. It is possible that whoever targeted Jordan also murdered his son. That person is Sonny Corinthos.
Curtis thanks Laura for getting Turner to run interference with Sidwell. He has one good nerve left, and if Sidwell steps on it, he’s going to take that man’s head off. She says, don’t do that. He’d never find a room large enough to store it. He laughs and says, all right. He guesses it would cause problems with Jordan. Speaking of, he’s aware Jordan has her own reasons for working so closely with Sidwell. She says she sees, and looks over at Sidwell and Turner. She says, so you know, and he says he knows that the both of them are trying to get evidence against him from the inside so they can bury him. She asks how long he’s known, and he says, shortly after Jordan took the job, but they weren’t in a place where she felt like she could confide in him. But they are now, thank God. Laura says, yeah. She is a very private person and she’s actually quite good at hiding her feelings. Although, she always got the feeling Jordan never got over him. So she’s really happy for the both of them. It’s not that many times you get a second chance with somebody you love. He says, let’s just hope that second chance doesn’t get cut short, and she says she’s really sorry, but she needs to ask him this. Is it possible that the car wreck was not an accident? That Jordan was perhaps targeted because of her connection to Sidwell. He looks over at Sidwell talking to Turner.
Jack sits down with Nina at the bistro and says he was very pleased to get her text. He assumes this means she got something out of Charlotte Cassadine. She says, no, she didn’t. And if Charlotte ever does confide in her, he will never know, because she refuses to betray that girl’s trust.
Carly tells Valentin, it was one thing to recruit Josslyn. He turned her into a killer. Her little girl. She will never forgive him for that. Valentin says, it sure looked like she forgave him last night. He watched her. He watched them going upstairs together. She says she knows, and he says, the look she gave him. She says, it was an act. Every minute she was with the man was a lie. He says, it didn’t look like an act to him, and she says, what does he want her to do? Does he want her to glare and hiss? Call her crazy, but he might catch on. He says, she doesn’t have to enjoy it so much, and she asks if he’s jealous. He says, yes. Of course (🍷) he is.
At the door, Sonny says, if Sidwell kills him, he’s not going to have Laura’s cooperation, and Ric says, because… Sonny says, nothing’s going to stop her from going to the PCPD, the WSB, and the Feds, and pointing them in Sidwell’s direction, and Ric says, something he doesn’t want. Sonny says, might as well just leave things the way they are. He has the mayor under his thumb, which is what he likes. Ric says, yeah. It’s definitely in his best interest to maintain the status quo. Sonny tells him, that said, he’s got his people on alert. All his family is going to be protected. That includes Ric. Ric says, that’s not necessary. If there’s one family member he can afford to lose… Sonny laughs and says he doesn’t want to lose Ric, and Ric says, because he’s such a good lawyer, but Sonny says, because Ric is his brother.
Turner says she understands Sidwell has suffered a terrible loss, but there’s absolutely no evidence that Marco’s murder and Jordan’s accident are related or that Sonny Corinthos was involved in any of it. Sidwell tells her, let’s just say that Sonny is trying to take everything away from him. He relies on Jordan. Her loss is a huge blow to his business operation and Sonny would know that. Turner says she’s sure Sonny also knows that he would find someone to take over her position, and he says, yes, but not someone who was a former Police Commissioner who still had connections at the PCPD. She says, why would that matter? and he says, because he asked Jordan to look into the investigation into his son’s death. Turner says, did she? and he says, she was told that the evidence was still being gathered. Turner says, that is true, and he says, but any one of Sonny’s moles at the PCPD would have told him that Jordan, a highly trained former agent, was looking into the investigation. Couldn’t this crash be Sonny’s attempt to stop her?
Curtis tells Laura, well, the crash was just a horrible accident. Just another reminder of how life can turn on a dime. He and Jordan were so happy and they were looking forward to a romantic night out. She leaned over to kiss him. She took her eyes off the road for one second and suddenly they were in the path of an oncoming car. She swerved to try and avoid it, and she lost control. Laura says she’s sorry. She didn’t… He says, no, it’s fine. A little over 12 hours ago, they were on top of the world. Now he doesn’t know if he’ll ever see Jordan again.
Jack says, Nina is choosing Charlotte over her own daughter. He must admit, he didn’t see that coming. Nina says she can’t choose between Charlotte and Willow, and it’s heartless of him to even ask her to, but he says they wouldn’t even be here if she hadn’t come to him, begging for him to help Willow. He did. Now it’s time for her to repay the favor. She says, Willow has been through enough. How dare he play with her life like this? He says, she can still protect Willow, if she finds out from Charlotte the whereabouts of Valentin before his other source comes through, and she says, because if that happens, he’ll still destroy Willow’s future. He says he needs to find Valentin yesterday. Consider it an incentive. She says, then she has an incentive for him to destroy that traffic cam footage once and for all.
As she prepares his shot, Willow tells Drew that she will not let Michael take her kids away from her. Besides, Valentin is a dangerous fugitive. He belongs in prison. She has to make Nina see that helping Brennan capture Valentin is the only thing to do.
Valentin asks how Carly can be surprised that he hates seeing her with Jack. She’s the reason he escaped. She sheltered him. For months they’ve been working together to bring down Brennan and Sidwell. She says, sounds like he’d feel that way about anyone who helped him, and he says, okay, but only she had the audacity to sneak into Steinmauer posing as his attorney. Only she had the guts to bring his daughter to him on Christmas Eve. Only she is powerful enough to stand up to Jack Brennan. He has feelings for her. He knows her so well. She says, he knows her so well, yet he thinks she would betray him. He doesn’t know her at all.
Molly says, Cody was on her mind constantly. That’s why she started writing this story and this character, to get him off of it. He asks how that’s working for her, and she says, like a charm. So yes, Casey was the embodiment of everything about him that got on her nerves. He says, and she only wrote one book? and she says, but when she started to consider why Casey was the way he was, and though it started off as research, she began to see who Cody really was. He says, and she still stuck around, and she says, because he is so much more than she thought. Which was why she was so embarrassed when she saw him reading it. He says, if he had just kept reading though… She says, he would have gotten the full picture, and he says, of what she thought of him? She says, of what she fantasized for them. She gave her characters the happy ending she never thought they would have. He says, so she fantasizes about him? and she says, well, not anymore. Why would she when the real thing is so much better? He says, that’s too bad, because he still fantasizes about her all the time, and they kiss.
Turner tells Sidwell, there is no evidence Jordan’s car came into contact with another vehicle. Curtis was clear about that in his statement, and the physical evidence corroborates his account. Jordan simply lost control of the car. Sidwell says, could the car have been tampered with? and she says, forensics is giving the vehicle a thorough going over. If the car was tampered with, they will know about it. He says, what about Marco? and she says, the investigation is ongoing. Once they know more, she will… He says, what he’s asking is why hasn’t she brought Sonny Corinthos in for questioning, and she says, the PCPD is looking into all possibilities, including Mr. Corinthos. That said, they both know he has other enemies. Perhaps Marco did as well. He says, Marco had no enemies. Whoever killed his son did it to hurt him. And he believes… She says, if the PCPD acts too quickly, the wrong person could be charged, and Marco’s killer will get away with it. And no one wants that.
Curtis tells Laura, the only person bearing responsibility for Jordan’s condition is the other driver. If they’d just stopped and checked on them. They lost so much time, time that could have helped. Laura says she understands, and he says, and there’s never that much traffic on that stretch of 91. It took the ambulance an hour to get there. That’s a long time for Jordan to go without medical attention. He felt helpless. All he could do was just sit there and beg for her to hold on. And he wonders if all that wasted time could end up costing Jordan her life.
Sidwell leaves the hospital, and Jordan makes a call. She says she needs to see them, face to face.
Jack says he could be mistaken, but that sounded suspiciously like a threat, and she should think long and hard before she threatens him, but Nina says, no threat. It’s more like a prediction. She predicts if that footage of Willow surfaces, that Carly will find out he was the one holding onto it. Evidence that could have saved her beloved son and everyone who loves him weeks of heartache and fear. He says, Michael wasn’t even arrested. He’s fine. She says, yeah, but the public consensus is that he shot Drew and framed Willow. Michael’s reputation has been damaged, and Carly will never forgive him for harming one of her children. When she finds out he crossed that line – and he knows this – he’ll lose her forever.
Willow tells Drew that she’s done too much. She’s done things she never thought she’d do. She’s gone too far to lose her children again. But what other choice did she have? What other choice does she have now? She has to make sure that Nina gets over her guilt and chooses her over Charlotte. The same way she chooses her children over anything else, over anyone else. She feels terrible for her mom. She’s in an awful position. But maybe she can make it easier for her.
Valentin tells Carly, this is crazy. His freedom is in jeopardy. His daughter’s life is in danger. What does he care who she sleeps with? She says, he shouldn’t. They have to stick to the plan. She is. He says, their sleeping together was a mistake, and she tells him, that’s what she said. He says, they shouldn’t let sentimentality interfere with the goal. It’s too important. She says she agrees. They shouldn’t let some kind of Stockholm sex thing between them screw everything up. He says, fine, and she says, fine. He says, everything between them is strictly business. Everything else, done. She says, great, and he heads upstairs. She says, and stay in the attic, and flashes back to them getting busy.
On Monday, Nina asks why Willow would do anything for the Quartermaines; Ned is very excited about a baby in the house again; Lucas asks Isaiah what the hell the two of them were doing that required lifesaving measures; and Turner tells Sonny that he’s in way more danger than he thinks.

Despite some complaints, the charter tip was $22K, or $1692 each. Ellie had her eyes on João, even though he was more into Daisy, and in Daisy’s interview, she said Ellie was a little bit of a shark. It was the crew’s night out and Alesia couldn’t pick a lane with a boatmantic partner, prompting Ellie and Jenna to tell her the next day that she wasn’t a girl’s girl. Agreed. New primary Tyler told us in his interview that his partner was an incredibly successful businessman who was very private, and also signing the check for his trip. I smell sugar daddy. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. He was bringing a glam squad to surprise his guests with a drag night (always fun), and was also a foodie. The first night, there was a lost at sea picnic at the beach and in her interview, Daisy said she loved the theme, but not so much the beach. I get it. I hate eating outside, especially at the beach. Bugs, sand, possibly sweating? No thank you. Annoyed at being called out, Alesia told Daisy that João liked her, not Ellie. While the Deck franchise can often be too boatmance heavy for my taste, I’m definitely interested in that mess.
Summer House
It was the anniversary of Carl’s brother’s death, and he was disappointed that he hadn’t even gotten a text from Kyle. Kyle had been busy with laundry and planning for couples therapy. Ciara met with her mom and discussed her purchase of her grandfather’s house. She wanted to build generational wealth, along with having some pigs, cows, and horses. It was one of the most grown-up conversations I’ve ever heard on this show.
Southern Hospitality
I can barely pay attention to this show. There was a kissing game, and I thought, what are we, twelve? There was also lots of crying. From everyone. Including me because this show is so predictable and boring.
The Valley
It was Sosa’s birthday and although Lala had a party that probably cost a few bucks, at least it wasn’t like Taylor’s (RHOBH) circus party for Kennedy. In Lacy’s interview, she said she got divorced and landed on Jesse Lally. I have no words. Wait. I do. She couldn’t find a better landing pad? She didn’t seem to want any kind of commitment, but she was freezing her eggs. Michelle gravitated toward Schwartz, who said that his dad was deteriorating. She suggested he talk to his dad as much as he could, which was actually good advice.

Now on Sundays, so coming next week.
Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Dorit becomes more unbearable each week. She’s like a spoiled child who is going to be in for a rude awakening when PK finally pulls the plug on his checkbook. In Sutton’s interview, she said Dorit had been ignoring her and it was Mean Girl 101. That’s another thing. Dorit does have a nasty streak, then when things aren’t going her way, she runs. She was having a book cover launch – not a launch for the book itself, which wasn’t written yet, but for the cover photo. Seriously. How conceited do you have to be? Who does that? Apparently, Kyle, Erika, and Sutton were over her antics as they all decided not to go – separately, not collectively. On the sweet side, Keely surprised Boz by showing up when she thought he was out of town, and proposed. Fun fact: Weirdo seems to be Dorit’s new word. Maybe she’s spending too much time with the kids.
Ladies of London: The New Reign
So far, so good on my enjoyment of this show. In Mark’s interview, he discussed his favorite topic – himself. We found out his home had once been owned by Oscar Wilde, one of his idols, which was no surprise. He also said he wasn’t interested in pop culture, which was kind of amusing since he’s part of it now. Kimi visited Mark’s museum of a home and said she’s never been there in the daylight and sober. I can’t imagine stumbling around that place drunk. You’d end up knocking over a lamp or sculpture or something. There was a polo match for Myka’s birthday, where Martha was in her element on a horse, and again I was astounded at how Happy Birthday is always sung so badly, no matter who’s singing it. Okay, with the exception of Marilyn Monroe singing to JFK.

👀 Last Weekend’s Watch…
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. Netflix. A murderous satanic cult is convinced that Dr. Ian Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) is Old Nick – i.e. the Satan. This is due in part because of his friendship, for lack of a better word, with an Alpha zombie the doctor has named Samson, who is addicted to the morphine darts Dr. Kelson injects him with to help with his pain. When he’s not hanging with his zombified friend, the doctor is looking for a cure while listening to Duran Duran on an old turntable. In a night to remember, the good doctor invites the Jimmies to watch him lip syncs to Iron Maiden’s The Number of the Beast while dancing through pyrotechnics in the temple he’s manufactured to honor the dead. While this film is gruesome AF and not for the squeamish, it’s visually stunning and the acting is impeccable.
Extinction. Netflix. Sometime in the future, a custodial worker is being haunted by nightmares of an alien invasion where his family is in jeopardy. When his dreams become a reality, we learn that everything is not what it seems and once again, the enemy is us. This is a fast-paced, unique film that’s well worth watching.

Eat, Pray, Bark. Netflix. A sweet, little film from Germany about a group of dog owners who sign up for an obedience training retreat in the mountains with renowned dog whisperer Nodon. The guests find out that Nodon is not who he says he is, but if they’re being honest, neither are they. Both satiric and heartwarming without going to far into the cornfield, this film was a fun watch. It’s in German, but you can change that using one of the boxes at the bottom right of the screen. The dubbing isn’t the best, but it doesn’t steal any of the joy. It’s a cute mix of dogs, but my favorite was Nodon’s chihuahua Heidi, who couldn’t seem to take her eyes off of him (can’t blame her) and whose tail never stopped wagging.

And as if dogs weren’t enough, there’s also this bonus.
So I watched the finale of Something Very Bad is Going to Happen (Netflix). It was wild and bloody and triumphant in a way, but I did smell allegory. Perhaps fear of commitment, perhaps marriage as a curse, they’re not entirely wrong.
